Seconds later, she puts it under his tongue and asks him to tell her what it says before he realizes the surprising news. Taylor put the strip part of the test in his mouth, also known as the part she had just peed on. “hah I think everyone is thinking the same about this…it’s peed on,” one user replied. Another user commented: “I know the h**l you didn’t put that pee stick in that man’s mouth Other viewers, however, immediately thought that she may have used a different test for the video. “I think she just drew the plus on with a pen and peed on a different test,” one viewer commented. Another said: “Or she got a clean one and wrote on the display just to convey the point she was.” Taylor has yet to address any of the theories brought up by viewers — meaning we may never exactly know what may be on the end of that pregnancy test.

Woman stunned as landlord charges $200 fee and rent for pet fish TIKTOK: nicr__/Unsplash: Priyanshu ShekharA TikToker was left speechless after discovering that a landlord charges monthly rent for keeping a pet fish. In a viral TikTok video, content creator Nic appeared at a loss for words, after checking her rental contract under the “fees” section. She shared a screenshot of the contract, which included a breakdown of her rent, and her Kansas City landlord’s policy on pets. While many ban their tenants from keeping pets like dogs and cats, it’s not very often that you get restrictions on fish. However, much to Nic’s surprise, her contract included a clause stating “fish allowed” as long as they’re “non-aggressive breeds.” The monthly pet rent for fish was listed as $15, with a one-time fee of $200. “They’re now charging pet rent for fishes?” the TikToker asked in the video caption, adding that she’s “speechless.” In the comments, many TikTok users were just as stunned to learn that tenants require permission to keep fish. “Bro it’s a fish. What are we even doing anymore?” one user wrote. “These apartments are out of control with their fees,” another added. “BFFR…a fish?? They literally live in a contained space and touch nothing in the apartment” a third said. Others, however, said they understand the reason behind the pet rent. “My old apartment allowed pets but wouldn’t allow any fish tanks. They said because the water damages in case it breaks is too much to risk,” one user explained. “My landlord said her fish tank broke while she was on vacation and it was a huge tank… so kinda valid,” another shared. Nic chimed in and clarified that she doesn’t actually own a fish, but “it’s just ridiculous that they are charging.” This is not the first time a landlord has left viewers divided on TikTok; previously, a landlord sparked backlash after he filmed himself doubling a tenant’s rent.

One woman, however, had a less than perfect visit on her most recent trip to the store. She explains that the kerfuffle that occurred when she tried to use her hospitalized mom’s card. “Y’all I did not know Costco was that serious. I really didn’t,” she begins. “So my mom’s in the hospital, right? She gives me the Costco card. I go to the Costco, I get on my s**t and I get to the self-checkout. The lady says can I see your card? I give her the card she flips it around and she sees a picture of my mom.” “She’s like, is she here with you today?” “I said no, she’s in the hospital. She looks at me, she looks at the stuff in my cart she goes, you can’t buy that.” To which the TikToker comments on the employee’s lack of sympathy, saying that the situation is “messed up.” She points out that with her mother in hospital, she’s unable to go to the store herself to pick up her groceries, and so depends on her daughter to do so. People furious by employee’s refusal of hospitalized mom’s Costco card After the TikToker posted the video to social media, people were quick to comment, voicing their outrage at the situation. “I think it’s ridiculous that one family can’t use one Costco card. We can’t go with my dad because it has his picture and I’m like we’re literally related.” Another shared a bad experience they’d had at the store, similar to the video’s poster: “They yelled at me for paying with my card because we used my husband’s Costco card as if we don’t have the same membership and bank account.” One joked that Costco was “The Netflix of shopping.” Many advised the TikToker to forgo their family’s Costco membership entirely, and head over to Sam’s Club instead: “And that’s why I shop at Sam’s Club.” “Sam’s Club would never. They’ve never checked my card since I’ve had my account for 5 years now.” Perhaps what’s most amusing is that Sam’s Club themselves commented on the video, urging her: “Yikes..sounds like you need a Sam’s Club Membership! Send us a DM.” Another woman was reeling after a visit to their local Walmart, when she was made to check out and bag all of her own items.

  • Woman streams daughter’s birth to 45,000 viewers on YouTube to prove it’s not “gross” – Dexerto

Woman streams daughter’s birth to 45,000 viewers on YouTube to prove it’s not “gross” YouTube: The Positive Birth Company / Instagram: shivy_millerA woman hoping to show others labor isn’t always “gross” and “scary” live-streamed the birth of her daughter to 45,000 viewers on YouTube, but all didn’t go to plan. For new moms, giving birth for the first time can bring about some anxiety and fear. It is a complex and life-changing event, and it’s normal to feel nervous. In hopes of helping others see that labor doesn’t have to be “gross” or “scary,” one woman decided to take matters into her own hands and show loved ones and strangers alike that childbirth can be “euphoric.” 37-year-old Siobhan Miller set up a camera to livestream the home birth of her fourth child on YouTube, filming herself throughout contractions. Having had a traumatic experience birthing her first son, Siobhan discovered hypnobirthing — a practice that uses therapeutic relaxation techniques to manage pain during childbirth. Inspired, she trained in hypnobirthing and launched her own company before taking things to the next level for the arrival of her fourth child. “Everything we see depicts birth as traumatic, it’s a skewed portrayal of birth,” Siobhan told Metro. “It ties in with how people think about birth typically – people think of it as gross and scary. But a change of mindset can show it can be empowering.” However, after an hour and 20 minutes in labor, no midwives were available to come to Siobhan’s house and she was forced to end the livestream and rush to the hospital. Siobhan ultimately gave birth to her daughter, Fionnuala, at the hospital in a birthing pool, calling the birth itself “really lovely.” “I was disappointed not to have a home birth. I was disappointed the live stream had to come to an abrupt end,” Siobhan said. “But I got to show [how] labor can be. I wasn’t screaming. I wasn’t terrified. People got to see me breathing. They just missed the finale.” And while she would “love to do it again and again,” Siobhan has already decided Fionnuala will be her last child. Nonetheless, she hopes her livestream has helped others see the beauty in childbirth; “I absolutely love giving birth. The power in your body – it’s like a miracle.’ Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Woman sparks viral debate after claiming men should spend $200 on first date TikTok: thedesirabletruthA woman has sparked a viral online debate after revealing she expects a man to drop a minimum of $200 on the first date for her “presence.” Dating etiquette has changed over the years and isn’t always as clear-cut as it used to be. Who should text first, who pays for the first date, and where the night is expected to lead are all questions with no right answer. Instead, modern dating is all about understanding your own wants and needs, being upfront and open, and good communication. But this can result in a clash of expectations. This was exactly the case after TikTok account ‘thedesirabletruth’ interviewed a woman while she was on a night out with a friend. Asking her how much a man should spend on the first date, her answer sparked a viral online debate. Self-described as “The voice of the people,” thedesirabletruth is known for taking to the streets at night and asking questions to passersby. Having stopped two young women, the TikToker asked, “What’s the most a man should spend on a first date?” “I feel like if I’m going to get ready and I’m going to use all my products to come out with you, I need like a minimum of $200,” one of the women replied, earning a startled expression from her friend. When asked what “the man gets in return,” the woman didn’t hesitate to respond with, “My presence.” And despite further questions, she wasn’t willing to budge, listing expensive make-up and skincare products as reasoning. Viewers, however, were not impressed by the high price tag and quickly jumped online to share their thoughts. One person wrote, “Women like [this] are absolutely terrible; the date is about only her. The fact she said ‘He gets my presence’ and fails to acknowledge that he’s also there is crazy. Let’s not forget he also had to get ready, he had to pay for his car to get there, he [had] to pay for his gas, etc.” Another said, “Whatever happened to just grabbing some coffee, or lunch, or a drink or two as a first date?” However there were those that agreed with her; “If he can’t invest in a date then he doesn’t have the capability in investing in a possible relationship, family with dependants.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

It seems like everyone is going to the movies this summer with the success of The Barbie Movie and Oppenheimer dominating the big screen. Indi Jung was one such moviegoer who flocked to the cinema to check out the new hit flicks, but her trip is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. In a video going viral, the OnlyFans star sparked backlash after she decided to wear quite the revealing dress with no underwear to the pictures resulting in a major debate breaking out. OnlyFans model under fire going to cinema in very revealing outfit In the short 9 second TikTok clip, Indi Jung can be seen paying for (likely overpriced) food by the concessions while her flowing dress barely hides her otherwise exposed bum. The clip of Jung soon spread to Twitter where many users debated whether or not she should be allowed to wear the provocative attire to the public cinema. “If I looked that good, I would be wearing that outfit to the dentist, to the grocery store, to church, to the mailbox, etc lol,” one user joked. “I think she is beautiful! Maybe the outfit would be more appropriate elsewhere,” another remarked, trying to find a middle ground. Others, however, were a lot more ruthless. One replied, “Have a little class. Still will look fire with some more clothes on.” This isn’t the only wild movie drama this summer. Earlier in July, women got into a fight at Barbie after a mom reportedly let their child watch YouTube videos throughout the film.

The scantily-clad swimmer, who has not been identified, left viewers divided on the social media app for wearing “inappropriate” swimwear to a family-friendly water park. In a viral TikTok clip with over 4.1 million views, the woman can be seen splashing about in a nude, backless thong one-piece bathing suit, while surrounded by families and children. The text over the video read, “Is this appropriate for a family water park or not?” Meanwhile, the TikToker who shared the video made her own view clear, as she wrote in the captions: “Thoughts!! I don’t think its appropriate there’s kids all around her, but she looks great!!” Many users took to the comment section to share their opinions on the woman’s choice of swimwear. Woman’s skimpy bikini sparks debate on TikTok Some commenters were outraged, and believed she should’ve covered up in the presence of families and children. “It definitely isn’t appropriate and for those of you saying kids don’t care, you’re part of the problem. Kids follow what they seen think is ok,” one user wrote. “Everyone supportive, yet if a man wore a skin tight speedo with kids eye level to it, they would be mad as hell,” another user argued. “It’s called having respect for others and their family. This world doesn’t have it anymore,” someone else added. Others, however, defended the woman, and even slammed the TikToker for filming her without her consent. “You’re the one recording,” one user wrote. “Is it appropriate to record someone in a bathing suit without them noticing?” another user questioned. “People keep saying there’s kids around, but the kids don’t care. The women are just concerned their husbands are looking,” someone else commented. “Children don’t care or sexualize, it’s what we teach our children that matters,” another user argued.

Woman sparks outrage for saying “natural bodies are for poor females” Unsplash.com: Zoran Zonde StojanovskiA woman is sparking backlash after posting a viral tweet claiming “natural bodies are for poor females,” creating a major debate about plastic surgery, mental health, and self-esteem. In this day and age of social media, increasingly unattainable beauty standards and their effects on people’s self-esteem have become major topics of conversation across the web. With many users opting for apps like FaceTune or Instagram filters to enhance their appearance, images of perfectly-contoured faces and curvy figures often fill up one’s timeline. Now, another major topic has been tossed into the discussion, thanks to a Twitter user named ‘Goated Throated.’ (No, we’re not making that up.) Back in January, ‘Goated Throated’ posted a tweet where she claimed that “natural bodies are for poor females.” She followed up her post by doubling down on her statement, saying, “I said what I said,” and adding, “Y’all mad as f*ck.” That being said, she did agree to a reply to her tweet saying “natural bodies look better”— but her post has struck a chord on the internet, anyway. One user said: “Nah this better be a joke.” While another explained that they felt it was inconsiderate: “I truly hope this is a friend, and not through a delivery service. That would be so inconsiderate” On the other end of the spectrum, tons of viewers praised the delivery guy… calling him a “hero.” One user said: “He’s not the hero we deserve but definitely the one that we needed” The one thing everyone had in common, however, is that they all hoped Jordan received a big tip for going out of his way to make sure people had food.

Woman steals money from street performer & trashes his piano in viral video TIKTOK: theandrewshoeA viral TikTok of a girl damaging a street performer’s piano and allegedly stealing his money in Athens, Georgia has sparked outrage online. The shocking clip was originally uploaded by the street performer’s account (theandrewshoe) on TikTok, before it got deleted and re-posted on Twitter. It starts with the musician playing the piano in Athens, Georgia, with an impressed crowd gathered around him. “This is probably one of the worst things somebody’s probably ever done to me while street performing,” Andrew says in a voiceover. Soon enough, a girl then walks over and slams the keys on the keyboard, while everyone else pleads for her to stop and encourages the pianist to “keep going.” Andrew then says, “So this kind of stuff happens here and there so I usually just keep playing through it, but after what’s about to happen I had to stop.” The musician continues playing his song, before the passerby rudely interrupts him again. This time, the girl walks towards the TikToker and pushes the keyboard off of the stand, leading it to fall on the ground. “What’s wrong with you?” the street performer says, before the woman appears to take some money out of his collection bucket and then walks off. “Hey, hey, hey,” he shouts as everyone in the crowd begins booing her loudly. After the incident, a group of people came to help Andrew organize his belongings since they were on the floor, and one guy even gave him a generous tip to compensate for his lost earnings. The video quickly went viral with 4 million views, as netizens slammed the girl for her actions. “Life will humble her sooner or later. Hopefully soon,” one wrote. “She should be arrested,” another said. “That’s unfortunate to see,” a third shared. “Acts of vandalism and disrespect like that can have a negative impact on street performers sharing their talent with the public.” The girl, identified as Shauntae Heard, has since apologized for her “ignorant” behavior in a now-deleted Facebook post. She revealed that she’d personally apologized to the street performer, and pleaded with her followers to keep her family out of the internet drama. • Woman sparks debate over viral advice about splitting bill with date – Dexerto

Woman sparks debate over viral advice about splitting bill with date TikTok: Pearl BottsA woman has sparked debate on TikTok after dripping some advice on avoiding splitting bills with dates after they’ve gone out to dinner. Over the last few years, TikTok has become one of the go-to social media platforms for many social media users. Given that it’s all about sharing videos, it makes it easier to tell stories about things that have gone wrong. One of the most popular topics for those videos centers around dating and relationships. Many users have gone viral sharing horror stories of their first dates, telling viewers about how they were unknowingly dating married people, and everything else up to their wedding day. Well, now another clip has gone viral from TikToker Pearl Botts, as she revealed some dating advice for avoiding splitting bills when you’re out on a date. TikToker splits viewers with advice on avoiding bills with date In the TikToker’s clip, which has gotten over 7 million views in just a few days, she suggested telling the person you’re seeing that “you thought this was a date” and asking if they “just want to be friends” when they want to split things 50/50. “Oh my god, I’m so embarrassed right now. Wait, you wanted to just be friends? I thought this was a date,” she said, covering her mouth and feigning embarrassment. That naturally caused a split in the comments, with some viewers being on board with the idea. “I have never been on a 50/50 date. Choose right you guys,” said one. “I just say “don’t worry about it, I’ll pay the full bill since you need help” and then never see them again,” another said. “50/50 is definitely friend zone.” Of course, not everyone agreed. “if it’s a first date I see no problem with splitting the bill,” said one. “You are literally strangers on the first date. Pay for what you order,” added another. “I work …I can pay my dinner… especially on a first date when you don’t know the other person…I work I can pay my dinner,” another commented. The TikToker responded to those comments disagreeing with her, claiming it is “disrespectful” to pay your half on a first date. That clip has also got people agreeing with her, but it hasn’t gone as viral as her first bit of advice.

  • Woman sparks outrage after demanding date pay for her children’s meals – Dexerto

Woman sparks outrage after demanding date pay for her children’s meals Twitter: raphouseTVA woman is sparking a heated online debate after demanding that her date pay for her children’s meals after he showed up to their dinner over an hour late. The dating scene is difficult for many reasons in the modern era, and social media hasn’t exactly made things any easier for folks looking to find their other half in the sea of users on Hinge and Tinder. We’ve covered a slew of awful first dates that took the net by storm. From a guy walking out on his first date due to her strict dietary restrictions to a woman putting her date on blast for refusing to buy a $3 slice of cheese on his burger, there’s no shortage of jaw-dropping horror stories scattered online. However, this latest first date drama is sparking a major debate across social media as to what is and isn’t acceptable behavior when getting to know someone over dinner and drinks. Woman demands date pay for her kids’ meals after showing up over an hour late In December 2022, a man posted a video documenting his first date with a woman who demanded that he pay for extra meals for her kids. Her reasoning? He’d shown up to their dinner over an hour and a half late — and she felt she was owed some compensation for her time. The man was not having any of this… but he was outnumbered, as their waitress actually took the woman’s side and chimed in on the situation in her defense. In retaliation, the man actually got up from his table and went into the kitchen to request that the staff not make the extra food, or at least, not put it on his tab. That’s not all; he even polled other customers about the situation, clearly frustrated that he was being asked to foot the bill for his date’s kids because he was late. Although the video was posted late last year, the clip has begun to make the rounds online again… and people are divided as to who’s in the wrong. Some users are defending the mother, saying the man should have paid for her hungry kids’ meals no matter the circumstances — but others are defending him, calling the woman’s behavior “entitled.” Other commenters think everyone was in the wrong, with some saying the waitress was out of line for butting into their disagreement. This is just the latest argument to go viral on social media after a student snatched the microphone during her graduation, claiming she didn’t get her “moment” of recognition during the ceremony.

Woman sparks debate selling neighbor’s furniture on Facebook Marketplace TikTok: avocandreatoastA woman has sparked a debate after revealing she has been reselling furniture via Facebook marketplace that a neighbor leaves out for free. Furniture flipping has become a popular and profitable side hustle that has seen many take to Facebook marketplace for some extra income. Even better yet though, is not having to invest any money into your side hustle. That has been the case for one TikToker, who discovered her neighbor kept on giving away good furniture for free. Taking advantage of the situation, Andrea who goes by ‘avocandreatoast’ on TikTok, shared how she made some extra cash reselling the free goods herself. “Someone in my apartment doesn’t know what Facebook Marketplace is,” Andrea said, showing furniture that had been left out with scrawled “free” signs sticky taped on top. “I keep seeing free stuff lying around; I tugged this bookcase for myself and then today saw a giant desk,” she continued, showing off some of her finds including an ornate frame. “I was just shocked… they weren’t even attempting to sell.” Deciding to do it herself instead, Andrea was quickly overrun with requests to buy the furniture; “To whoever is leaving your furniture out, please feel free to continue doing so.” However, viewers were torn over the situation and whether or not Facebook marketplace was actually worth the hassle. “I stopped selling stuff on [Facebook] marketplace because it’s such a hassle. 800 ‘is this available?’ messages and then 800 people ghosting. I have a life,” one person said, understanding why Andrea’s neighbor might not think the effort was worthwhile. A second person claimed, “Facebook marketplace is for very patient people with lots of extra time.” There were those though who felt the time and effort were worthwhile; “Yes I do the same! It’s called flipping. It’s a good investment.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Woman sparks debate on TikTok after eye-catching dress gets stares in viral video TikTok: emilythebearrr_A TikToker is stirring up debate on the platform after wearing an eye-catching outfit in public and calling out a few people who stared at her in a viral video that’s racking up millions of views. TikTok is a popular platform for showing off one’s outfits; a quick scroll through the for you page generally has at least a few people flexing their ‘OOTD.’ However, one TikToker’s fit check is causing quite the debate and has stirred up a viral controversy. TikToker ‘Emilythebear’ was in New York City when she decided to record a couple glamour shots of her outfit. She was sporting a black, backless bodysuit and strutted her stuff down a crosswalk — but caught a few glances and stares from two men in the area. Emily didn’t seem comfortable with them and captioned her video, “This is why I wear jackets when I’m alone,” highlighting the men looking at her by zooming in on their faces. At the time of writing, Emily’s video has garnered over 13 million views and counting — but it has also started quite a debate. Woman divides TikTok after calling out men for staring at her Some viewers are sympathetic toward the TikToker, arguing that the men should have kept their glances to themselves and that Emily should be able to wear whatever she likes without inviting unwanted attention. However, others are dubbing Emily “pick me,” saying that her outfit is inherently “attention-grabbing” and that, since she was being filmed, the TikToker likely caught a few curious glances from passersby wondering what she was doing. “I mean even though I’m a girl, I’d also look, ’cause it looked like you’re posing and doing a catwalk on the sidewalk,” one user wrote. “‘Pick meee… choose meee’ vibes,” another said. “I think it is completely normal that people look at you,” another posed. “Don’t try to criminalize people just because they look at someone whose style is not casual.” “It’s for her to look good for herself, not others,” a commenter shot back. “I think the problem isn’t [that they] are looking, the problem is the way they are looking,” another said. “I know you’re not going with that on the street, but if you want to.” This is the latest outfit-related moment to go viral on TikTok after a woman sparked confusion when she wore skin-colored leggings to her local gym.

Though her loved ones and a nurse joined in, viewers have sparked a debate about the appropriateness of her decision. Lourdes also let viewers know why she was doing the ceiling challenge, adding a text overlay to her TikTok video saying, “Our Thanksgiving didn’t go exactly as planned… but we made the best of it.” She then added the caption, “As long as we’re together, that’s all that matters. At least we made my dad laugh.” Those who have seen the video and were not in favor of the idea commented saying, “Nah, that’s mean. He’s sick, you shouldn’t be doing that in my opinion but I hope he feels better.” And, “I don’t know, man — videotaping a sick and dying family member just doesn’t sit right.” However, Lourdes reassured viewers that her father was only in the hospital for an “infection,” hinting that he would soon be out. In a short viral clip, TikTok couple Rafal and Iyah (rafal_and_iyah) filmed themselves standing in the kitchen, as the wife shared what her hubby got her for Christmas. “So, I just got back from the store, and my husband goes, ‘Did you enjoy your time? That was the other half of my Christmas gift,’” Iyah recounted, while holding their baby. “‘You were gone for two hours, and I babysat. Your gift was freedom. I love you,’ and he kissed me,” she continued. Rafal believed the “freedom” and leisure time he gave her was the “greatest gift of all for a mother.” He then kissed his wife on the cheek before she bursted out laughing. “The best gift I could wish for love u babe,” Iyah wrote in the caption. The couple later claimed that the video was a joke. “It’s called sarcasm/humor. We’re amazed how many people believed we meant it,” they wrote in the comments section. Despite their clarification, other users still went on to express their opinions on the platform. TikToker Shawnda (ifecoachshawn) reacted to the original clip by stitching it and sharing her thoughts. “I don’t know the ins and outs of their relationship, but I don’t have to,” she said in a video that has now amassed over 1.2 million views. “I’m simply reacting to the video that she posted.” “What do you mean he gifted you the gift of freedom for two hours while he babysat his own child?” she continued. “Sir, you don’t babysit your own child. She’s not babysitting when you leave. When you’re gonna go play golf or going to work or doing whatever, she’s not babysitting.” She then noted that some men don’t want to be fathers but want women to be mothers as it restricts their freedom. “But some men, like I said, don’t want to be fathers. They want you to be a mother as a means of control,” Shawnda concluded. Many TikTok users took to the comments to express their opinions about the original video. “Some ppl are more than happy to be somebody’s fool. Let em,” one said. “Freedom is an interesting word choice,” another added. “I dunno… something about him saying he gave her ‘freedom for two hours’ irked my soul,” a third shared. “It’s not babysitting if YOU’RE THE DAD,” someone else commented. Woman sparks debate about the ‘normal way’ to shower TIKTOK: alittlebitloveyA woman has sparked a fierce debate on TikTok about the ‘normal way’ to shower, after discovering that she and her mom are opposites. In a viral clip with over 6 million views, TikToker Alexandra Lee explained that there are “two ways people shower,” after finding out that she and her mother face different directions while washing up. “When I shower, the shower head is behind me so the water is on my hair and down my back,” she said, adding that she does “turn around occasionally.” On the other hand, her mom mostly showers with the stream of water in front of her, allowing it to hit her in the face. Alexandra admitted she was “shocked” to learn this, and said the “normal way to shower” is facing away from the shower head. “I feel like the normal way to shower is with the shower head behind you.. is anyone else surprised by this?” she asked. “I don’t know why I’m having, like, an epiphany.” TikTok divided over ‘normal way’ to shower TikTok users in the comments were divided, with many agreeing with Alexandra. “No because voluntarily getting waterboarded doesn’t sound fun at all,” one person wrote. “Back to the water, rotate when needed. There is no other way that makes sense,” another said. “Your way is the normal way, like why would you face the water? It makes no sense and makes rinsing your hair harder and your back colder,” a third shared. However, others thought her mom was correct. “I face the water. But it’s not like we stand there with it blasting our faces,” one user commented. “In movies people are always facing the water so that’s correct,” another added. And some users said they rotate so both sides are doused equally. “I constantly move around like a rotisserie chicken! Equal time on both sides,” one said. “Constant rotation is the only way to do it,” another stated. For more entertainment news and other viral stories, be sure to check out our coverage.

  • Woman sparks controversy after cleaning a stranger’s grave for free – Dexerto

Woman sparks controversy after cleaning a stranger’s grave for free X/Twitter: thewhostelloutA woman faced backlash for cleaning a stranger’s grave for free in the middle of the night. Graveyards not only become scarier as the sun goes down, but they also get dirty over time if there is no upkeep. That said, a woman took it upon herself to clean a stranger’s grave in the middle of the night, alone, for free. Viewers of the viral video have since reacted by saying the woman spoke poorly about the person who died, but they respected her work at the same time. Viewers call woman’s tone of voice “disrespectful” The woman who cleaned a random person’s grave filmed herself doing so. After filming, she included a voiceover with plenty of commentary after her hours-long cleaning process. What prompted her to choose the grave she chose wasn’t specified, but the woman did say that it was one of the “dirtiest” graves she had ever seen. For starters, the woman scrubbed every inch of the large grave. She washed the dirt away with a power washer and finished by adding an abundance of red and pink flowers. there is absolutely nothing wrong with cleaning a neglected grave but the way she talks about this woman does not sit right with me at all https://t.co/mLy4qFzAOM — stella lugosis dead (@thewhostellout) March 4, 2024 By the time the grave was cleaned, it was unrecognizable. Not to mention, the sun was up, and the woman had been there all night cleaning in the dark. What viewers found odd about the moment, though, were the things she said about the person who belonged to the grave. Though she said, “Everyone deserves a beautiful resting place,” the woman also bluntly asked, “What killed her?” At that point in the video, she was eating a chocolate cupcake, which was also peculiar. After viewers watched the viral clip, they called the woman out for “exploiting the deceased.” She was also persecuted for having a “disrespectful” tone of voice. Many others said they were “tired” of influencers, while one even posed the question, “What compelled her to say that?” Though the grave ended up being as clean as it could get, one must wonder if the criticism was worth it in the end.

Woman sparks backlash for wearing wedding dress to sister’s nuptials TIKTOK: ana__stasiaaaaA woman has sparked criticism on TikTok, after wearing an altered ivory wedding dress on her twin sister’s big day. Content creator Anastasia Domanico (ana__stasiaaaa) showcased her outfit for her sister Francesca’s wedding in a viral TikTok, which has now amassed over 2.3 million views. In the video, she revealed that it was actually her own wedding dress that had been altered after she wore it for her nuptials in Venice in 2022. This time, Anastasia’s A-line gown included a stylish big black bow around the waistline and an altered hem. The TikToker explained that her sister was at a cocktail hour upstairs while she filmed the clip. “My friend Madeleine and I were just freshening up,” she said. “I’m actually wearing my wedding dress. You can see the bottom and there is a bow in the back.” While Anastasia was delighted with her altered bridal gown, many viewers took to the comments to slam the content creator for wearing it to her twin’s wedding. “Ummm does your sister know you are wearing your wedding dress. Super disrespectful,” one TikTok user wrote. “A wedding dress at someone else’s wedding… I’d throw you out,” another said. “Can we normalise NOT wearing wedding dresses to a wedding?” a third critic commented. “No. no. no. no. This is not your night. No,” someone else added. Others said the outfit looked beautiful, and wanted to know if the dress code was all white. Anastasia later confirmed the theme was black and white, and revealed that her sister also specifically requested that she rewears her wedding gown after being unable to find the perfect dress. This is just the latest nuptials drama to go viral on TikTok; last week, a woman sparked outrage for wearing a floor-length white gown to someone else’s wedding reception.

TikTok is known for creating the occasional debate from time to time — but one woman’s story about her relationship with her husband is throwing viewers for a loop all across the internet. TikTok user Jordan Haase uploaded a video on June 15 that’s already scored over 3 million views as people pour in to give their two cents about how she’s handling her love life. In the clip, Jordan claimed that her husband had been asking for intimacy “for days” — but after finally agreeing to “do the deed,” one of her twin babies woke up and needed to be put down for bed. Woman on TikTok sparks debate for refusing intimacy with husband However, she ended up hiding out in the baby’s room in order to avoid the situation, saying she was “pretending” to take care of their young child. “Now I’m up here pretending like I’m still putting the baby to sleep,” she whispered in the dark room. “So I can hopefully avoid having to do it altogether, you know.” Commenters were quick to berate Haase for dodging intimacy with her husband, with some claiming that if he doesn’t receive affection from her, he may look elsewhere to fulfill those needs. “Biggest fear is getting to a point in a relationship where intimacy is seen as a chore,” one commenter wrote. “Divorce is deff in your future,” another said. “I would be horrified if I was your husband and saw this,” another viewer chimed in. “I get not being in the mood for sure, but If someone posted this about me, I’d die.” Jordan brought up this comment to her husband in another video, where she asked him, “How horrified are you about that video?” “Not at all,” he laughed in reply. “Are you gonna cheat on me now?” she asked. “Oh for sure, obviously,” he answered sarcastically. However, Jordan also clarified that they had just welcomed twins into the world, saying that she’s tired from taking care of their two newborns. It’s clear that viewers weren’t too impressed with this second video, though, as many commenters surmised that her hubby was merely pretending to be okay with the whole situation. “Man is forced to say he’s cool with it, but no doubt that crushed him,” one person wrote. “Bro’s holding back so much resentment ’cause he’s stuck,” another said However, it doesn’t look like the Haase family is taking the internet’s criticisms all too seriously, as the couple have posted two separate videos after the fact poking fun at commenters for claiming their relationship will fail. This is just the latest relationship drama to take over TikTok after a woman regaled her viewers with a story about the time a husband left his wife and kids behind in economy on a flight after getting a first-class upgrade.

TikToker was “very sad and disappointed” at Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS tour prices, putting her off buying tickets HerculeanKate’s TikTok went viral after she explained to fans why she didn’t buy GUTS tour tickets despite being given the opportunity, and told them the price of the tickets offered to her. I was like 250 in queue!” One viewer commented. “I got my Olivia tickets for like $50 that’s crazy,” another added. • Woman slams “internet weirdos” after Joey Swoll callout for filming stranger in gym – Dexerto

Woman slams “internet weirdos” after Joey Swoll callout for filming stranger in gym Instagram: nahtaliee / Twitter: joeyswollA woman hitting back at “internet weirdos” after she got called out by Joey Swoll for filming a man working out behind her at the gym while she hogged several pieces of equipment. Joey Swoll is the internet’s resident gym bro, but he’s pushing back at negative stereotypes by addressing bad behavior and poor gym etiquette in fitness studios all around the world. Swoll is widely known for his viral videos decrying toxicity in the gym. He’s not afraid to call out influencers who film strangers during their workouts, or those who make fun of other gym goers. Swoll’s content almost always catches the internet’s eye, and the latest drama spiraling out of his most recent call-out clip has resulted in some serious shade from another influencer involved in the ordeal. Joey Swoll slams woman for ‘hogging’ gym equipment and filming a stranger The situation started when hopeful influencer and freelance fashion designer Nahtalie Kamholz uploaded a clip showing herself working out at her local gym. In the clip, Nahtalie explained that she was working out “back and forth” when a man wanted to use the hyperextension machine that she had supposedly claimed. This meant that he was working out behind her while she was filming her own workout. Nahtalie complained that the guy was “four inches from my a** each time I tried to finish my sets,” saying he “so rudely took the [hyperextension] machine and went in my frame.” Joey Swoll was quick to call out the designer for “hogging” the space and calling the stranger out on the internet instead of handling the situation “like an adult.” “As if your video is more important than another member’s workout?” Swoll said. “It’s not. I’m sorry, you don’t own the gym. Not to mention, it’s not good gym etiquette to do three or four different exercises, supersetting, and hog a machine.” Influencer hits out at “internet weirdos” after Joey Swoll callout Since being posted on June 19, Joey’s video has racked up over half a million views on Twitter. Commenters were quick to find the woman’s Instagram and have bombarded her posts with remarks admonishing her behavior at the gym. It doesn’t look like Nahtalie is all that bothered by the backlash, though. She responded to the matter in a string of posts on her Instagram stories, where she hit back at “internet weirdos” for criticizing her over her video. “Y’all need to do some breathing exercises and find a hobby,” she wrote. “You only get one life, why are you choosing to be a cockroach on the internet when you can literally go outside and look at how beautiful our one life is.” She ended her reply with a subtle reference to Swoll’s video: “Do better.” She also hit back at commenters speculating that she’d turned off her comments amid the backlash, saying that it was likely an automated moderation feature from Instagram. On top of this, she uploaded a short clip showing herself munching on some food unbothered with the caption, “To all these internet weirdos.” This isn’t the first time someone has hit back at Joey Swoll after being called out by him online. Earlier this month, Russian pro swimmer Nika Godun had a similar response after getting slammed by the fitness star for making fun of a child working out at her gym.

  • Woman slammed online for tearful video claiming men only want “robots” and “screens” – Dexerto

Woman slammed online for tearful video claiming men only want “robots” and “screens” Twitter: lporiginalgA woman who fears the future of intimate connections due to men turning to robots and screens for affection is getting slammed in her comments section for an emotional video gone viral. In a recent viral video, a woman tearfully acknowledged her growing concern for the future of her relationships. Not because there aren’t enough fish in the sea, or that dating apps just aren’t working out – but because AI, NPCs, and anime are taking over the internet. Though some viewers agree with the woman, who was also wearing a shirt that read “narcissism,” others are explaining their viewpoints while simultaneously slamming her feelings on the subject. Woman claims men are only looking for a “fantasy” With TikTok influencers like PinkyDoll breaking the internet by doing human activities in robotic form, some netizens think people are slowly shifting their romantic tendencies and interests. Artificial intelligence is also changing relationship norms, as people are able to generate anything they want at any time. Even major influencers are releasing their own AI chatbots to simulate romantic conversations with fans. And let’s not forget about animatsexuals, where individuals gravitate towards intimate scenarios with fictionally animated characters. Though these variables are growing trends, a woman just couldn’t help but hold back her tears while questioning what men want, saying, “What kind of world do we live in — where a normal regular girl cannot find just a regular guy out here today? Because these guys don’t want a real woman.” She continued to claim that men are only looking for a fantasy: “They want a fantasy. They want to live in this fake fantasy world. They would rather jack off to some screen, to some robot, rather than actually deal with a real human being and what comes with that.” She then claimed that men only choose robots and screens over real women because it is “easier,” tearfully ending her tirade by saying she was “done” with dating. Viewers were quick to share their feelings on her thoughts, first, pointing out how she was wearing a shirt that said “narcissism,” as multiple people called out her shady apparel choice with one commenting, “What’s her shirt say? Is she really wearing a shirt that describes herself?” What’s her shirt say? Is she really wearing a shirt that describes herself? — PuzzledRaccoon (@PuzzledRaccoon) July 23, 2023 Others slammed the online moment by saying, “You are too shallow for the conversation,” as well as, “Has she considered that maybe she’s just terrible at picking men?” While another person pointed to women as being the issue, saying, “Women have done this to themselves over the last 50 years. They have made themselves so problematic that it makes no sense for many young men to deal with them. It is sad.” Women have done this to themselves over the last 50 years. They have made themselves so problematical that it makes no sense for many young men to deal with them. It is sad. — David Sault (@dalsault) July 23, 2023 Though most viewers were against her opinion, there were some women who felt the same, saying, “What she says is true. A lot of men don’t want marriage or relationships, just sex and fantasy.” ❤️🤗 what she says is true. A lot of men don’t want marriage or relationships, just sex and fantasy. — Jan Evelyn ✝️📖🇺🇸🤺 (@JEM_Books) July 24, 2023 The pushback this woman received may have been cruel and intentional, but one thing is for sure, and it’s that the dating world for men and women is shifting its course whether people like it or not.

  • Woman slammed for “ruining” her boyfriend’s apartment in viral home makeover – Dexerto

Woman slammed for “ruining” her boyfriend’s apartment in viral home makeover TikTok: emmaganzarainA woman on TikTok is coming under fire for “ruining” her boyfriend’s apartment in a home makeover that many viewers thought was unnecessary. There’s a community for just about everyone online, and TikTok is a perfect place for many enthusiasts to get together and show off their creations, collections, and various achievements. It’s an especially popular place for anyone who’s crafty or interested in home improvement or interior decorating (remember the TayBeepBoop vs Kaarin Joy beef, anyone?) — but not everyone is a fan of some TikTokers’ home renovations. In the latest drama taking over the interior design space, a woman is coming under fire for the changes she made to her boyfriends’ apartment — which critics say completely destroyed the “soul” of the flat. TikToker under fire for “soulless” changes to boyfriend’s apartment In early November, TikTok user Emma Ganzarain showed off a few before and after photos of her man’s apartment, which she had updated from its warm, cozy interior to a comparatively spartan and clinical look. Gone were the apartment’s deep colors and unique decorations; now, the apartment is painted with neutral tones and clean furnishings. “All men need a woman in their life,” Ganzarain captioned one of her posts. It’s safe to say that viewers weren’t happy with her changes to her boyfriend’s living space, with one commenter writing, “His soul is no longer in that space. Stop trying to fix the men in your life and learn to love them for who they are and the way they want to decorate.” “Yeah, strip every spec of character and soul out of your living space, make it unliveable,” another wrote. “Why did you remove all the character for sad beige?” another asked. It doesn’t look like Ganzarain is in agreement with her critics. In a response video, the TikToker uploaded another video of the space set to audio from the Barbie movie, where the titular doll says, “It’s Barbie’s Dreamhouse, not Ken’s Dreamhouse, right?” “Well, he is allowed to have his Arsenal coffee mug in the living room sometimes,” she captioned the clip. She also uploaded an additional video in response to the criticism, saying she “knows I’m not the best at [interior design] and that’s fine.” It’s clear that the internet was not a fan of her updates — nor her attitude toward her man’s living space. But for now, it looks like Ganzarain is happy with her changes and is just rolling with the punches.

Woman says husband slept with her mother In a post on November 8, 2023, Katenacious shared the story about her ex-husband and revealed that he had slept with her mom while she was dealing with post-partum depression after giving birth to twins. “Their affair lasted about four months before I finally definitively caught them red handed,” she said. “When I did confirm that the affair was happening, I did leave immediately with my children. “The night that I left with my daughters, my mother moved into my house with my husband. They continued to play house until I served my husband my husband with divorce papers that also stated that I would be filing for 100% custody of my children.” Kate went on to explain that her ex husband and mom were conspiring to get married, which would make her mom the kids step-mom and her kids would be her step-sisters. She added: “But alas, my husband got tired of her too so he dumped her, kicked her out of the house, and my dad welcomed her back with open arms.” Kathnacious also claims that her parents blame the affair on her, saying that shes a “horrible daughter” and “horrible wife.” Users were quick to hop into the comments to share their thoughts on this story, with most of them supporting the TikToker. “This would break me. I’m so sorry,” one user replied. Another said: “Wow, the audacity on them to blame you afterwards.” “I want you to know you deserved so much better! The Google-owned video platform is host to many couples who love to pull crazy pranks on one another and record their victim’s reaction for their viewers’ entertainment. Duo Robin and Emma fall into this category, and are always trying to one-up each other with some insane hijinks, and their latest upload saw the girlfriend trick her boyfriend into thinking she’d been attacked. Beaten up YouTube prank On January 12, the pair uploaded a video titled “I GOT BEAT UP PRANK ON BOYFRIEND!” in which the 25-year-old started off by stating that she was going to be applying makeup on her face to mimic bruises. “I’m going to try and make the bruises look as realistic as possible so Robin really thinks I’ve been beaten up,” she said, before she blended it under her eye and added some fake blood, with the end result looking quite realistic. The British prankster then waited for her partner to come home from a trip, and laid down on their couch and placed a pillow over her face so he wouldn’t see her ‘injuries’ straight away. “I’ve got a headache,” she explained when her Germany-born boyfriend asked how she was doing. Oh my f**king God!” he stated in panic. “I hit it on the pavement,” she replied. “I had a bit of an argument with someone and I ended up hitting it on the pavement.” After several unsuccessful attempts to try and get her to go to the hospital, Robin lost his mind when she pretended that a guy had harmed her on the way home from a night out after she’d refused drinks. “Are you f**king kidding me?! A guy did that to you?!” the 25-year-old exclaimed. “I’m gonna f**king kill him! Tell me who it is! Who did that to you?! I’m gonna get the CCTV from that bar…” After a few minutes, Emma couldn’t hold in her laughter anymore and the jig was up. “Do you know how f**king fast my heart is beating? How the f**k do you make it look so realistic?” her partner asked frustratedly. “I’m so happy that it’s not real, but you got me good.” While the prank might seem a bit harsh to some, the couple are forever pulling similar antics, such as pretending to be dead, gluing things to each other, and shaving eyebrows off. They’ve been dating since October 2013, and started their YouTube channel in October 2015, amassing over 2.5 million subscribers since.

  • Woman shocked as Hinge match books couples therapy session as first date – Dexerto

Woman shocked as Hinge match books couples therapy session as first date @luna_leia_/XX user Luna Leia has gone viral on the app after sharing the insane story of how one of her Hinge matches booked a couples therapy session for them as a first date. X user luna_leia_ has gone viral on the app after sharing her Hinge dating story that left her with a first date of going to a couples therapy session with a date she’d never met before. Luna tossed out a wild scenario when she wrote that something she and a date could do together is “go to couples therapy and see how long it takes the therapist to realize we don’t know each other,” an idea she had gotten from someone else on social media. Not thinking much of it, Luna soon got a notification that an appointment had been booked for a one-hour, in-person session for a couple of weeks later with a date from the app. The cost was a whopping $170, which is quite the amount to spend on a first date. But her date clearly saw the humor in the idea and decided it was worth the money for the unique experience. Along with a screenshot of the booking confirmation, Luna’s date also wrote: “For the record, your last name is Smith, you were born April 1, 1999, and we’ve been together for 2 years now. See you there” along with a winky face. Luna shared screenshots of her Hinge prompt as well as a screenshot of her conversation with her date on X where she also wrote: “One of my hinge matches actually booked us a therapy session. will be back with an update on how it goes.” The tweet soon went viral and people took to the comments to express their thoughts. A few people in the replies seemed to think this was in bad taste, as it was wasting the time of a therapist who could probably give that space to a real couple. But an actual professional jumped into the replies to share their opinion about this charade. “As a marriage and family therapist, I find this so f**king funny,” said @NinjaNerd007. “I need to know how this plays out … lmfao I really hope your therapist has a good sense of humor.” Thousands of readers are now eagerly awaiting an update on Luna’s therapy date, which is due to take place on September 24, 2023. This is not the only Hinge story that has gone viral. Back in May 2023, a woman went viral after matching with her former landlord on the dating app only to ask for her security deposit back.

The mom from Christchurch, New Zealand, spent “years and years” conducting research before she came across a man named Noel on Facebook, who she believed to be her dad. She shared a screen recording of their Facebook Messenger exchange on TikTok. “Hi, this is a random question and [I] apologize for intruding. Did you travel to New Zealand in 1990?” she began the first message. “Hiya. How you doing?” the man from Wales replied. “Yes, lived there twice, Sharnee. Who are you?” After some back and forth, Sharnee inquired about his time spent in Christchurch in the 1990s, acknowledging her question seemed “odd” and “personal.” “When you were living here, Christchurch/New Zealand. Did you sleep with any women?” she asked him. “My mother, who I deeply and dearly love has given me your name and so I’ve done years and years and years of research and you fit all these descriptions. “I’m so very sorry that this all seems very strange!” she added. Noel said he found the message “intriguing,” and asked if her mother’s name was Dale. He then confirmed that he remembered Sharnee’s mom, sharing details about her that only Sharnee would likely know. “This is all so so crazy, so so crazy. I’m, shaking, I’m crying. Woman selling engagement ring bombarded by “creepy” Facebook messages TikTok: camille.fahrnbauerA woman hoping to sell her engagement ring has taken to TikTok to share the “creepy” messages she received via Facebook Marketplace following the listing. In this day of modern dating, social media has become a common method used for singles to meet their match. From dating apps to Instagram to Snapchat, there are countless stories of people happening across “the one” while online dating. But what about meeting through Facebook Marketplace? Not exactly known for its romantic associations, one woman was surprised when her Facebook listing resulted in multiple men making their move. And they used the fact she was selling an engagement ring as their chance to slide into her DMs. 26-year-old Camille Fahrnbauer decided to sell the 1.6-carat diamond ring after a hiking accident resulted in her having to quit her job. Nursing an injury and having been left by her husband of two years earlier in February, Camille decided it was a good time to make an extra “couple of thousand” and sell her engagement ring. However, many of the messages she received were from men not actually interested in purchasing but instead hoping to steal a date; “I’m not looking for a ring yet. Would it be bold of me to take my shot?” “[To be honest] I really dont want the ring, I rather just use the ring to remarry you,” another wrote. Luckily, Camille was able to find a buyer and used her newfound freedom and money for a trip to Italy… with her friend, not one of the “creepy” guys messaging her on Facebook. Calling the bold messages “Facebook Marketplace Rizz,” Camille instead posted the screenshots on her TikTok, hilariously offering some advice in her caption; “Ladies, delete Hinge [and] download Facebook Marketplace.” Best of all, one of Camille’s viewers even recognized a suitor in her messages, commenting, “Not one of these men being my good friend. He will never live this down now. STRAIGHT TO THE [GROUP CHAT].” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Woman shades customers who hide their PIN code while checking out in line TikTok: armellyA woman and her friend threw shade at customers who block others from seeing their PIN code while checking out in line. Whether buying groceries or paying for gas, shopping in stores is a day-to-day errand that many people have to do. Though cash is still accepted just about everywhere, shoppers all over have become accustomed to using a debit or credit card. And when using their card, some customers even hide their PIN code while checking out in line. One woman has since shaded those who decide to hide their PIN code, leaving TikTokers to debate her opinion. TiTokers debate about the normalcy of hiding your PIN code while checking out A woman recently mocked people who hide their PIN code while checking out. In doing so, she acted out a scene in a self-checkout line at Target. In her TikTok video, she sarcastically wrote a text overlay saying, “When a customer covers their pin when they are checking out.” Her friend in the video then mouthed the words to an audio saying, “B*tch, we don’t want the recipe to your mom’s peach cobbler, b*tch!” She was then seen hovering over the monitor where you insert your four-digit PIN after making a purchase. Though the woman has gone viral for shading customers who hide their PIN code, TikTokers had many opinions, including, “I do it because I had someone in line behind me looking over my shoulder.” And, “I do this when there is someone in the line that is too close.” However, some viewers joked about people covering their PIN code, saying, “I don’t know why people do that. You need to know the card number in order to use the PIN.” On the other hand, viewers did make it known that it is possible to be robbed in the parking lot after having your PIN read in line. And though TikTokers debated the normalcy of hiding your PIN code while checking out, it’s clear that there is no clear concise on whether it’s necessary or not.

Woman says she was spied on by AirBnB hosts living in secret loft on property TikTok: Heyylexa2A TikToker was left feeling “terrified” and “violated” after discovering her AirBnB had a hidden loft concealed behind a “secret wall,” and believes the owners were spying on her and her friends. A slew of jaw-dropping AirBnB listings have gone viral in the past. From guests finding hidden cameras in their bathrooms and even stumbling upon secret tunnels in their vacation spot, there’s seemingly no end to the outrageous discoveries people make in their holiday accommodations. However, one woman’s story about her bachelorette getaway is turning heads all across the net, as she believes her AirBnB hosts were spying on her and her friends. First uploaded to TikTok on August 14, user ‘Hey Alexa’s’ fiance detailed the shocking conditions she supposedly discovered at a “Tranquil Waterfront Retreat Haven” listed on AirBnB in San Rafael, California. Woman “terrified” after discovering cameras and hidden room According to the fiance, Alexa and a group of girlfriends were headed to the home to celebrate her bachelorette party when they found a “false door” that led to a “secret staircase,” seemingly attached to another floor of the residence — which they claim wasn’t listed online. That’s not all; the girls also discovered a slew of security cameras placed outside and supposedly saw a light turn on in an upstairs room, where a man was allegedly watching them. When the group called the authorities, the landlord was contacted and claimed they would arrive at the residence in “25 minutes,” but showed up “within two or three minutes,” leading the group to believe the hosts were actually living on the property without disclosing that information. In a follow-up video, Alexa claimed she’d discovered a window in her bathroom that was supposedly attached to the wall that led up to the “mystery upstairs unit,” leaving her paranoid that she was being spied on. She and her group did a walk-through of the residence with law enforcement before packing up their things and leaving “peacefully.” “It’s extremely violating and a horrible feeling,” the TikToker said of her experience. “Please be aware of your surroundings and be safe.” In yet another follow-up video, Alexa said that someone claiming they were a “pool technician” entered the property “super late at night,” who they believe was the man supposedly watching them from the secret upstairs loft. She also stated that the group paid $4,6000 for a two-night stay and were not immediately refunded. She also attached texts with the host, who claimed in one message that “nobody else lives on the property” in response to her concerns. Alexa further claimed that she felt she and her friends were being “actively surveilled,” as the host messaged them as soon as they began fiddling with the controls on the hot tub. Alexa’s videos have garnered over a million views as commenters express outrage over the situation, with some calling for the property to be banned from AirBnB. Although the original listing seems to have been removed from AirBnB, the same property is listed on a slew of other sites under the same title. In a listing taken from Hichee, the host writes that “the entire property, entire first floor, entire front courtyard, backyard with pool and spa and BBQ area, deck area where boat is docked,” is accessible and that they are “nearby by phone and fully accessible to assist.” Dexerto has reached out to AirBnB for comment on the situation. This is just the latest AirBnB fiasco to take over the internet after a TikToker put her host on blast for their “crazy” cleaning fees.

Woman says she and her friend should “sue” McDonald’s TikToker Kellie Ulmer and her friend went to their local McDonald’s and ordered their food to-go. As Ulmer’s friend got to the end of her Oreo McFlurry, she found what they referred to as a “literal trash bag.” As she began pulling the clear plastic bag out of her cup, it seemingly never ended. Though the two friends laughed it off, they were rather appalled, mentioning at one point that they may “sue” McDonald’s. Not only that, but the pair thought it was done on purpose, captioning their video, “It was so on purpose, like folded so small at the bottom. It’s a literal trash bag or something.” Ulmer then tagged the corporation, saying “Omg, help.” Viewers of the viral TikTok helped both Ulmer and her friend solve the mystery of what could be at the bottom of the McFlurry, as former McDonald’s employees commented, “I used to work there. It’s the sleeve the cups come in.” And, “I worked at McDonald’s. It’s the ice cream liquid bag.” However, most former McDonald’s employees seemed to think it was the “shake mix” bag. Many people also commented saying how “unsettling” it was to see trash in someone’s food after they’ve already eaten most of it. Though some did comment, hoping that the two friends went back to McDonald’s to complain, it is unknown if the pair were able to get their money back or a new McFlurry.

In the new clip, Hardy installed a car seat for her new baby, joking that her husband didn’t want anything to do with her following the PS4 fiasco and they would be just fine on their own. However, the two appear to be together in clips posted to her channel after this. After landing a few blows, the man began trying to restrain her and the person filming had to roll down his window to call for a peaceful end to the violence. “Don’t hit her! Don’t hit her!” he demanded. “Just leave it.” Soon thereafter, once the combatants realized they were being filmed, they decided to get back into their vehicles and drive off, putting an end to the battle before anyone was seriously injured. Users in the comments applauded the man for showing restraint while others joked that there was some “sexual tension” between the two. This is hardly the first viral road rage moment to make waves recently. Back in September, a driver responded to road rage by Fortnite dancing in the middle of the street.

He soon found rat poop on the toilet seat. “They weren’t sure they were going to be able to get emergency pest control in,” Catherine explained. “So, that day, they flushed the toilet five times and closed the lid. I didn’t stay there at all that weekend, for obvious reasons.” After speaking with the management, the solution they gave her was to dump dish soap down the toilet and flush it every hour to keep it too slippery for the rodents to climb out. However, the story didn’t have the happy ending viewers were hoping for as Catherine explained that, although the apartment management has been cooperative, she’s not completely sure what the next steps will be. The good news is that there had been no rat sightings since the first day she moved into the apartment. Viewers are urging Catherine to move out of the apartment Viewers of Catherine’s videos did not like what they were watching and urged her to get out of her lease. One person commented on the video and said: “Girl you gotta end that lease cause them rats are gonna keep coming backkkk and it’s gonna be harder to leave farther into your lease.” Another wrote: “Nah lease would’ve been terminated within them 20 minutes with a full refund upfront.” “The anxiety as you’re sitting on the toilet nope nope nope,” a third person wrote.

  • Woman named Barbie Oppenheimer accidentally becomes a living meme – Dexerto

Woman named Barbie Oppenheimer accidentally becomes a living meme Warner Bros. Pictures / Universal PicturesJ. Robert Oppenheimer’s third cousin happened to marry a woman named Barbara, resulting in a real-life Barbenheimer. Barbenheimer took the world by storm after it was discovered that Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer would be released on the same day. As thousands flocked to the cinemas and bought tickets to see both as a double feature, Barbenheimer was coined as perhaps the most bizarre crossover to hit the internet yet. And now it turns out there is a real Barbenheimer. Well, a real Barbara Oppenheimer, married to the third cousin of American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Barbara spoke with Slate about the odd coincidence, revealing what life has been like since accidentally becoming a living meme. “I had college friends around the world texting me that weekend when [the movies] came out, with the whole schmear, you know… ‘the bomb and the bombshell’,” Barbara said, admitting she thought it was a great marketing ploy. “It’s pretty funny! It was a brilliant thing that they launched them together. It really brought people back into movie theaters.” And she’s a fan of both movies, approving of how Oppenheimer treated the portrayal of her husband’s third cousin and “tickled pink” by Barbie’s feminist take to the big screen. When it comes to her unique name, Barbara revealed she used to go by Barbie when she was a child but started using her full name after graduating and getting a fellowship at Mass General. Nonetheless, she has been enjoying her “glorious summer of being Barbie again”, saying, “I’m on vacation right now, and when I checked in at the hotel, I said, ‘Barbie Oppenheimer! The guy said, ‘Are you pulling my leg?’” She also still owns her own Barbie dolls, though they have since been passed on to be played with by her granddaughter. As Barbara said, “Women today stand on the shoulders of their mothers, who lived the Barbie life.” Check out all the latest entertainment stories on our page here.

TikToker Rachel Wilson was left speechless after her date ditched her just 45 seconds after meeting her, before sending her a text message saying: “Sorry wasn’t feeling it.” In a story time video, Rachel explained that she was supposed to meet the man who drove away at the bar for “chicken wings and a beer.” The content creator said she waited outside the bar before she received the text informing her that he left. “I stood in front of the restaurant waiting for about five minutes before I got the text,” she recalled. “I didn’t respond and immediately deleted his number and have heard no word from him since.” Rachel was left stunned by her Hinge date’s sudden disappearance, since she didn’t pick up on any red flags when they were chatting on the app. While the date didn’t go anywhere, the TikToker said she was happy that they made plans. “I liked that he made solid plans right off the bat,” she said. “I hate when you meet someone on a dating app and talk back and forth forever, with no solid plans to meet.” In the comments, TikTok users shared their own similar dating horror stories. “Help this happened to me too and I watched him drive off, U-turn to go the right way and drive past me,” one user wrote. “I had a guy fake having MS 5 minutes into mine. • Woman mortified after learning she booked flight to the wrong San Jose at the airport – Dexerto

Woman mortified after learning she booked flight to the wrong San Jose at the airport TikTok/yogirl_rinA woman’s trip to Thailand took a wrong turn after she ended up at a completely different San Jose and only learned so when she arrived. Traveling can be a very stressful and tricky process, especially with multiple flights involved and as one woman learned, it’s always best to double-check your itinerary. TikToker Rin was all set to join her friends in Thailand to host a group trip, but had to catch a connecting flight at San Jose, Costa Rica first to fly through Alaska Airlines. Everything seemed to be going well until she realized there wasn’t an Alaska Airlines check-in gate anywhere at the airport. Not deterred, she went to an information desk for help only to find out that she wasn’t in San Jose, Costa Rica at all. Woman accidentally books flight to wrong San Jose After speaking with employees at the information desk, Rin was a bit baffled as the staff couldn’t seem to figure out what was wrong until they determined she was in the wrong city. “They look at me and they’re like, ‘oh, we figured it out.’ And I’m like ‘don’t say it like that. Don’t tell me something bad right now.’ Bro, I booked my flight from the wrong San Jose! I booked it from San Jose, California and San Jose, Costa Rica!” Rin blamed the airport codes for the confusion, saying that SJO and SJC are too similar and that it wasn’t her fault for the mistake. At first, Rin was a bit distraught, but then remembered she bought travel insurance and phoned the booking company only to find out that a one-way trip to Thailand would set her back a whopping $3,000. “What is the point of getting insurance on your flight if was a $1,200 round trip flight and the only refund they’ll give you for canceling is $300?” she explained. Luckily, things ended up working out as she was able to find a direct flight to Thailand from New York for $600 and if that wasn’t already an improvement, Rin revealed a brand caught wind of her flight fiasco and offered her a $10,000 deal. “The money always comes back around!” the TikTok star happily proclaimed. Despite the happy ending, this story is a good reminder for everyone to always be sure your flights are accurate before you book, because you may not be as lucky as Rin was.

Marquita, who goes by ‘mashunnacollection’ on TikTok, took to social media after discovering a sprinkling of snails crawling across her meal. ‘ “Look what was in my food at Red Lobster!” Marquita wrote over the video while she showed how her pasta displayed far too much movement for comfort. “What is that in my food at Red Lobster!? SNAILS?” The video has already garnered over 1.4 million views, with many shocked onlookers rushing to the comment section to voice their disgust and offer Marquita some advice. “Now I need to stare at my food and watch for bugs as it turns ice cold [and] I’ll ultimately box it up [and] eat it later if there’s no bugs,” one person wrote. Another said, “Pretty sure that’s fruit fly larvae. Basically maggots.” A third was more focused on how the creepy crawlies got in the pasta in the first place; “If all of that was cooked in boiling water/[sauteed] in [a] hot pan, how the hell [did] those [get] there?” One Red Lobster employee, however, seemingly had the answer; “I work at Red Lobster. This happened to us [and they] were all inside the parsley that we garnish on top of everything [because] it didn’t get cleaned out.” Many were convinced this is what had happened to Marquita’s meal, with the snails accompanied by a garnish of aged parsley. She did offer a small update for viewers, revealing Red Lobster’s district manager offered her a replacement meal which she had declined. “I said no thank you and I wanted to speak to someone higher up please,” Marquita wrote in the comments of her video. While she has also reached out to Red Lobster over social media, the food chain has yet to respond. Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Woman matches with former landlord on Hinge and agrees to date to get security deposit back – Dexerto

Woman matches with former landlord on Hinge and agrees to date to get security deposit back TikTok: dubwaahA Tennessee TikTok user went viral after telling viewers that she matched with her previous landlord on the dating app Hinge and agreed to go on a date with him – if he paid using her security deposit that she had yet to get back. Being in your 20s is hard. You’re thrown into the adult world and expected to learn everything and bills, taxes and deposits while also fighting with others to rent a home. And on top of this, there’s dating and finding your way around dating apps. It becomes even more awkward when your previous landlord, who has yet to pay back your security deposit, matches with you on one of these apps. Luckily it doesn’t happen a lot, but it’s exactly what happened to TikToker dubwaah, also known as Heather DuBois. How did the landlord not recognize Heather? Taking to TikTok, Heather showed screenshots of a man who had liked and sent a messaged to Heather on Hinge. In the message, the man invited Heather out for coffee and shared his Instagram account. Thanks to the account name, Heather realized the potential match was her former landlord, who she had only met once before when first touring the property. Talking about the top photo on the man’s profile, Heather told her viewers: “I noticed the background on one of his photos and I was like ‘what the heck? That was taken on the rooftop on my old townhouse that I moved out of back in September’.” She went on: “He clearly didn’t recognize me in the photo because we only met once when I toured the apartment. But things ended very badly. To the point when we both said ‘don’t contact me again’.” The landlord refuses to pay back deposit Having lived there with her now ex-boyfriend, Heather described the pair as easy tenants that never requested anything from the landlord. But as their lease ended, things took a turn for the worse. “He ended up keeping our security deposit with absolutely zero word of what the damages were, no running list. He just texted me like ‘you know the damages are far beyond the security deposit.’ “No, I actually don’t know that. I paid over 400 for a move out cleanout. We left that place like spick and span.” She continued to explain how things quickly escalated, with the landlord threatening to file a police report and claimed that the pair had gone back to the property to claim mail – which they hadn’t done, according to Heather, as they were out of state. Heather then cut back to the screenshot of the hinge profile, having written a message that read: “Yes, sure! But only if you give me the security deposit back” along with a smiley face. Could this be the next new rom-com story? Heather’s video has gone viral, racking up 181,000 views with most people being on Heather’s side. One person wrote in the comments: “go on Just enough dates for him to pay enough to equal the deposit.” Another said: “Ask him if you can come over, get his address, then serve him with a civil suit to reclaim your security deposit since he illegally withheld it” A third person said: “If only I would match my old LL. Would venmo charge him for emotional trauma.” Referring to the hit 90s rom-com You’ve Got Mail, a fourth person wrote: “new rom-com with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.” One day after publishing the first video, Heather updated viewers in a new video, where she revealed that the landlord had unmatched with her on the app after reading her message and finding out who she was. Not the happy ending we were hoping for. For more entertainment news and other viral stories, head over to check out our coverage.

Not f*cking bark!” She eventually saw the funny side of things, saying she was “still recovering” from it, and so did many of the viewers. “I would never go back there,” said one. “No, why did you comply so quickly,” asked another. “I’m just glad you didn’t actually go to a full bark,” another added. • Woman leaves internet enraged after neighbor files noise complaint against her toddler – Dexerto

Woman leaves internet enraged after neighbor files noise complaint against her toddler TikTok: itshaleybeckerA woman has left the internet shocked after sharing how her downstairs neighbors have filed numerous noise complaints against her toddler. When living in an apartment, it’s generally understood that there is a likelihood you may have to hear your neighbors every now and then. However, one mom has left many viewers shocked and enraged after revealing how frequently her downstairs neighbors have filed a noise complaint against her family. Hayley Becker took to TikTok to find out whether or not she was in the wrong after receiving a formal complaint from her building manager, confused by the consistent disapproval of her downstairs neighbors considering their complaints surrounded the activities of her toddler. “We have new neighbors who moved in three weeks ago. They live under us… we live in a nice complex,” Hayley said, explaining she had lived in the same apartment for four years and — until now — never received a complaint. A few days into their neighbors moving in, however, a young couple came up to express their dismay over having to hear a lot of “noise and footsteps”. And despite explaining that the noise stemmed from their young toddler’s activities, the complaints didn’t stop there. “My husband [texted] me and [said] ‘The front office just called because [the neighbors] officially put in a noise complaint,’” Hayley said. She called the office herself to explain that unless she put her toddler in a “straightjacket”, Haylee couldn’t control how often her daughter walked around their apartment. “I’m not going to do that. Like I’m not going to prevent my child from exploring and walking around the apartment and living. Like it’s just not happening,” Hayley told the office, warning they would likely receive more complaints due to this. And sure enough, she was right. Hayley’s downstairs neighbors went on to complain another 13 times within three days. Luckily, despite seemingly endless complaints made against her family, Haylee said the front office was supportive of her case and recommended she not worry as the “ball is in the other neighbor’s court.” Viewers were appalled by Haylee’s neighbors and their lack of compassion for her situation, one person writing, “It’s so unrealistic to ever expect low/no noise in communal living ESPECIALLY when you have upstairs neighbors! Especially with kids!” “Property Manager here…they need to be reminded it’s apartment living,” another helpful commenter wrote. A third said, “When people start complaining the second they move in….there is nothing that will please them.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

When Brooke initiated a separation from her husband, the church she was a part of sent her a letter stating they would no longer be allowing her to be a member. Not only that, but the church refunded Brooke the $500 donation she made. To top it off, the church went as far as saying that she wasn’t “in a very good place right now.” Church says woman is in ‘denial’ of her needs Brooke’s church in South Carolina was so offended by her separation, that they sent her a detailed letter about all the reasons why she was being terminated from the community. In the letter, the church said Brooke was being unfaithful to the vow she took before God when she married her husband. They were also distraught over Brooke not wanting to keep her family together, as she was leaving her husband for another man. Not only that, but the church also called Brooke out for sharing “un-Christian” posts on her social media, prompting them to say her posts and messages were “indecent.” The church then proceeded to say Brooke was disrespectful to the community, “You have also been very negative and critical of many of our church family, I believe, to try and take the attention off of your real needs, which you deny.” Those who have heard of Brooke’s story have commented, saying that despite feeling sorry for her, the church has its right to hold people accountable. Though the church also noted that Brooke “refused counsel” and “advice” from the Pastor, she, at this time, has not commented on her excommunication or reason for it.

Woman kicked off plane after spitting on other passengers TikTok: @itshaleynothaileyTikToker Itshaleynothailey went viral after uploading a video showcasing a woman spitting at other passengers and being dragged through a plane’s alley by flight attendants. A TikTok featuring a highly unusual situation from June 4 has picked up over 7.6 million views. In the footage, a woman is being dragged through a plane’s alley by two flight attendants, which doesn’t stop her from spitting on passengers along the way. The video does not feature a caption or commentary overlaid on the video, but its description reads: “Flight with mental and intoxicated person. Had to emergency land to stay safe! How crazy!!! #southwestairlines.” The flight attendants dragging the supposedly intoxicated woman reprimanded her that “she cannot spit at people,” and even at one point covered her mouth. This happened after the woman clearly spat at two different passengers to her sides, presumably more passengers were being spat at previously, but the video only captured those two particular instances. TikTok reacts to woman spitting at passengers while being dragged TikTok users in the comments were mostly just confused by the outlandish situation, with many of them wondering what even started the altercation. A very simple “what the hell” and “what the…” are the two most liked comments under the video, highlighting just how confusing this 13-second slice of clearly a larger situation truly is. Others were also praising the attendants’ efforts to keep other passengers safe and how they dealt with the situation in general. “These flight attendants don’t get paid enough,” wrote one user. And another agrees by stating: “Give those fight attendants a raise.” The author of TikTok claims the woman getting dragged off by staff was intoxicated but no official confirmation of that statement was provided as of the time of writing.

  • Woman in tears after tattoo artist ‘botches’ design: “Literally stuck with this” – Dexerto

Woman in tears after tattoo artist ‘botches’ design: “Literally stuck with this” TIKTOK: user8171938461618394A hysterical woman left viewers divided on TikTok, after claiming that her tattoo artist didn’t give her the design she wanted. In a viral video with 2.4 million views, the TikToker filmed herself crying after getting a rather large ‘botched’ tattoo inked onto her back. “When your tattoo is nothing like you asked for and it’s huge,” she wrote in a text-overlay on the clip. “The butterfly looks like it was out of a cartoon book, a coloring book.” “The flowers are so big! I’m literally stuck with this f**king thing for the rest of my life,” she wailed between sobs. “It looks nothing like the picture. I don’t know what to do.” Many TikTok users criticized the content creator for approving the permanent tattoo before having it inked onto her skin. “I don’t get how people get bad tattoos like they literally do a stencil and ask you if you like it,” one user commented. “They stencil it and put it on you and ask yes or no, so who’s at fault here?” another wrote. Others expressed how “sorry” they felt for her, and asked the TikToker how she got herself into such a predicament. In a follow-up, the unnamed woman claimed she showed the artist an Instagram photo of what she wanted: A tattoo of dainty flowers and a butterfly climbing up the right side of her back. Since she couldn’t see her own back, the artist showed her a photo of the stencil and said he needed to “make it my own,” turning away the original design. “I cried the whole way home, it was like a 40-minute drive,” she recalled, before showing a photo of the tattoo on her back. “I was dramatic.” Most commenters loved the design, and told her that shading might make her feel differently. “I feel like it looks better then the picture, just add shading,” one user wrote. “Ok I thought it was going to be awful. It looks good!” another added. In another video, the TikToker admitted the “tattoo fail” was her fault, as she didn’t scrutinize the artist’s sketch more. She also vowed to get the inking “fixed.” This is just the latest tattoo-related video to take off on TikTok. Back in November, a woman went viral after getting her cheating partner’s face tattooed on her cheek.

It’s no secret that food prices across the world have skyrocketed, making it hard for many low-income families to afford to feed their families properly. A woman by the name of Carly Burd stepped up to help those around her by growing various fruits and veggies in her garden, feeding over 1,600 people in the process. On April 11, 2023, she was left in tears after realizing that vandals sabotaged the garden area that she used, ruining crops and making it near impossible to grow more. Vandal sabotages garden used to feed poor In the video, Carly explains that she’s “absolutely heartbroken” before showing the damage done to her garden area. “Someone jumped over in the night and put salt all over the land,” she explained. “That means everything I’ve planted won’t grow and I can’t replant on it because it won’t grow. All the hours and hours of work we’ve put in are now dead.” She went on to explain that she won’t let this setback stop her and that she’ll find a way to replant a garden as soon as possible. Her video quickly went viral with nearly two million views, and viewers flooded the comments with support. “Farmer here! I’m so sorry this happened but we can fix this! You just need a lot of water and straw,” one user replied. Another commented: “Why would anyone do this!!! How can we find them!? Ask the neighbors if they have cameras.” “Please call the police – someone purchased a LOT of salt. Also, a shop vac might help you remove the top layers of dirt before it rains and soaks in,” a third shared. At the time of writing, she’s raised over £75,000 to help rebuild the garden so that she can get back to providing for those in need. For more entertainment news, check out our coverage.

Viral “not real” plane woman is flying again & still won’t reveal what she saw TMZ / TikTokTiffany Gomas hasn’t been able to escape the spotlight in the aftermath of her viral “not real” plane freakout video. Now weeks removed from the public meltdown, she was spotted at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and stopped by TMZ for an interview. As the face behind one of the biggest stories of the year, Gomas exploded across social media last month in light of a public outburst that left millions of viewers around the globe questioning everything. Claiming a man near the back of a plane was “not real,” the woman soon went viral for her reaction, telling other passengers they could either get off or “die with him.” Ever since, she’s been the focal point of the mystery, with internet sleuths seemingly uncovering the man in question and even getting further insight from Gomas herself on exactly what led to the heated reaction. Admitting the situation has been “frightening” due to the magnitude of its reach online, she recently broke her silence to say, “No one should judge. No one knows what it’s like.” “Not real” plane woman can’t talk about what she actually saw Now, almost two months on from the incident, Gomas has been spotted traveling through the skies once again. This time, reappearing at LAX, even in the same outfit as she wore in the viral clip. Stopped for a brief interview by TMZ, Gomas admitted she now had a “little bit of anxiety” about flying again, given we all saw what happened during her last attempt. While pressed on the matter of the “not real” individual’s identity, for the time being, she claimed she’s not at liberty to speak further on the subject. “Thanks for asking, but I have been told I can’t comment on it right now.” However, that said, it appears she has plans in the works for a tell-all interview in the near future, assuring it’s “gonna have to happen” and that “some things are in the works.” Though exactly when we might learn more about the viral video from her perspective remains unclear for now. Gomas then outlined how she “100%” stands by her actions at the time of the recording, assuring she was thoroughly “distressed” by what she seemingly witnessed on the plane. “I was getting off the plane no matter what; I just probably didn’t need to make the scene that I made.”

  • Woman in tears after being puked on at Taylor Swift concert and missing show – Dexerto

Woman in tears after being puked on at Taylor Swift concert and missing show Instagram/TikTok/Maria SantoraA woman’s expensive trip to Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour ended in disaster when another concertgoer vomited all over her. Taylor Swift’s Eras concert tour has been one of the wildest in recent memory with seemingly everyone desperate to get tickets to the must-see event. One woman’s trip from South Carolina to the Massachusetts concert, however, is going viral for all the wrong reasons even after managing to secure floor seats at a steal of $450. In a TikTok video going viral on the platform, Maria Santora, a sports reporter, revealed how her dream concert experience turned into a disgusting nightmare. Woman goes viral after being puked on at Taylor Swift show According to Santora, after arriving at the concert, a woman next to her began feeling ill and puked all over her at the end of Swift’s “Folklore.” “Unfortunately for her, and for me, she didn’t really have anywhere to go when she started getting sick, so she got sick on me,” Santora explained in the viral video. To make matters worse, when tried to speak with concert staff to help her get cleaned up, but it was no use. There were also reportedly no napkins in the food area left. “I’m standing there crying and begging for security to find me some sort of towel so I can just clean up,” she added, explaining how the security didn’t take too fondly to her standing in the aisle and even started screaming at her. During this commotion, the fan ended up missing the whole 1989 era of the concert (about six to seven songs) and the rest of Folklore, leaving her saddened. Not only that, but she wasn’t able to exchange the merch she bought because it had puke on it. In the end, the generous couple next to her used their own clothes to help clean up the mess, but needless to say, Santora will likely look back a lot more fondly on the Philadelphia show she went to over the Massachusetts one.

  • Woman in “agony” after TikTok egg hack leaves face with serious burns – Dexerto

Woman in “agony” after TikTok egg hack leaves face with serious burns New York Post / SWNSA woman was left in “agony” after trying a TikTok ‘hack’ that seriously burned her face when she microwaved an egg for a popular social media trend. Over the years, TikTok has birthed a long list of viral challenges and ‘life hacks,’ many of which concern food. For instance, who could forget the platform’s famous baked feta pasta recipe, or its mouthwatering edible cookie dough trick that took the internet by storm? However, one of these famed food hacks can be dangerous… and an unfortunate woman was left with serious facial damage after giving it a try. The following story contains images of graphic injury. Reader discretion is advised. Woman suffers ‘agonizing’ burns after TikTok hack goes wrong In early 2021, a woman on TikTok went viral for her seemingly ingenious method of creating poached eggs in a microwave. In the video, which has accrued over a million views, she simply cracked an egg inside a mug of boiling water with vinegar and microwaved it on high for one minute. The method quickly went viral, with people all over the internet racing to try the poached egg method for themselves. However, some also took the experiment too far, with a few users placing a whole, uncooked egg in the microwave to explosive results. Unfortunately, the poached egg trick doesn’t always have a perfect outcome. 37-year-old mom of one, Shafia Bashir, suffered major burns on her face after trying out the cooking hack when the egg exploded on her skin. Bashir says she attempted to take out the piping hot egg with a cold spoon when it splattered all over her face. “I did it exactly the same as I usually do it,” she said in a statement to SWNS. “I had already made the toast, I was starving!” Bashir was rushed to the emergency room, where she was subsequently treated for her burns. Luckily, there was no scarring and her skin has already fully healed over — but the incident left her horrified. “It was a terrifying time for me,” she said of the ordeal. “I was in absolute agony.” Bashir isn’t the only person to have suffered scorches from the TikTok poached egg method; back in July 2021, another woman also suffered facial burns after attempting to poach an egg in a microwave when it similarly exploded. This news comes after a 13-year-old boy received third and second-degree burns all over his torso after attempting a TikTok challenge that involved lighting spray paint on fire earlier this month.

Woman hunts down person who stole her fully loaded Costco cart TikTok: jenevaroseauthorA woman wasn’t about to let thievery win the game of finders keepers when someone stole her fully loaded Costco cart. New York Times Best Seller and avid TikToker Jeneva Rose was doing her Costco haul when she noticed her grocery cart went missing. Loaded with all her items, Jeneva was adamant about finding her cart that had disappeared into thin air. She eventually found it, but what happened to all of her groceries? Woman finds her Costco grocery cart and steals it back Jeneva Rose was in the frozen vegetable section of Costco when she left her grocery cart behind because the aisle was packed with other shoppers. However, when she walked back to her cart, it was missing. Determined, Jeneva decided to “hunt” down whoever had taken it. Describing the thievery in a TikTok video, Jeneva explained that another woman had snagged her fully loaded cart, saying, “She took it over to the samples area and she was eating a sample and I just came up behind her and I took it back.” Laughing into the camera, Jeneva continued, “And it’s not like it was an empty cart,” as she had items like a Costco sweatshirt, tomatoes, salmon, and toilet paper. Jeneva then advised her viewers, “Now you know, if you’re really good at shopping at Costco and you pick out some bomb stuff — don’t leave it out, someone will steal it.” After she tracked down her cart with all her groceries still inside, Jeneva ended her video by saying, “So, let it be known. If you steal my cart, I will steal it back.” Those who viewed Jeneva’s video thought her situation was hilarious, commenting, “I’m dying, that’s so funny. Good for you, girl. Who does that?!” Others shared similar stories, saying, “This happened to me once… and the lady had the audacity to tell me that she didn’t want to grab a new cart because it was raining.” “I once accidentally swapped carts with another woman at Target. It was hilarious when we both found each other,” another person wrote. Though Jeneva did approach the woman who stole her cart, she never disclosed if there was any dialogue. However, she did call herself the “Costco cart crusader” after saying there would be no thievery “on her watch.”
