  • Woman creates “exit survey” to find out why guys keep ghosting her – Dexerto

Woman creates “exit survey” to find out why guys keep ghosting her TIKTOK: stefdag/INSTAGRAM: stefdagzA single woman went viral on TikTok after creating an exit survey to find out why her exes and dates kept ghosting her. In a one-minute clip, the TikToker broke down her questionnaire and offered PDF versions for others to download, should they decide to use the survey for themselves. “So I recently got ghosted by a guy who I didn’t even like, which was obviously devastating, and I emailed him this ghosting exit survey to fill out,” Stephanie D’Agostini (stefdag) said. The first question read: “Please provide a one to two sentence example of why you did it.” “I just thought it would be nice to give some examples off the top of my head, like you were intimidated by my beauty, you hate yourself, you’re broken, I’m too good for you,” she explained. The second inquiry asked the survey participant to circle if Stephanie’s “more cute, hot, sexy or pretty,” which she clarified: “It’s just a rule, you have to circle all four.” “Please explain why you did not write in smart for that last question. That’s really misogynistic,” read the next one. As for the last question, the survey participant was asked to “provide the names, emails and phone numbers of at least two of your exes and your birth mother” so Stephanie “can start a group chat.” The survey also had a bonus question, in which she asked the respondent to select a form of compensation for her time during the relationship. “So you could opt for something simple, like sending me your passwords for various streaming services and your social security number,” she said. Another option would be to buy her mom “a condo in Florida.” “And last but certainly not least, making me your muse and dedicating your life to winning me back,” Stephanie said. She described the last option as “anything from like using my voicemails in a rap song, cutting your ear off and sending it to me, publicly referring to me as ‘the one that got away.’” Thus far, the content creator has yet to receive a response from her ex. TikTok users in the comments praised Stephanie for creating and sending the “exit survey,” with many sharing their own experiences of being ghosted.

  • Woman claims television network turned viral TikTok into film without credit – Dexerto

Woman claims television network turned viral TikTok into film without credit Hallmark ChannelA woman has claimed American television network, Hallmark Channel “stole” the idea for their latest holiday movie from a viral TikTok without giving credit. Hallmark Channel is an American cable television network known for its family-oriented TV series and movies. Its latest film is set to celebrate the holiday season in the lead-up to Christmas, with Holiday Road premiering on December 17. However, according to one woman, the network “stole” the idea from her own lived experience after a TikTok went viral detailing the same premise… and Hallmark Channel never gave any credit. The fiasco began after TikToker Alanah, who goes by ‘alanahstory21’, posted a video to the platform sharing how she and a group of 13 strangers had their shared flight canceled. Determined to reach their destination in time, the group banded together and set off on an unlikely road trip. Alanah’s TikTok introducing the members of the group quickly went viral, garnering over 850,000 likes. Netflix and Tyler Perry’s producers both allegedly reached out in hopes of making a documentary and capitalizing on the bizarre story, however, “then Hallmark swooped in and completely stole everything.” According to Hallmark Channel’s official site, their new film Holiday Road sees “Nine strangers, stranded at an airport during the holidays, unite for a Christmas road trip to Denver.” Sound familiar? One member of the original group certainly thinks so. Michelle, known as ‘thefarmbabe’ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to call out the television network, alleging they “ripped off” the idea without offering any compensation or credit. “We never did this for fame or fortune or whatever but I feel very violated,” Michelle said, stating that half the original group had been blocked by Hallmark’s Facebook account for speaking out. “I feel like exploited and taken advantage of. They literally took our story.” We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the story progresses. In the meantime, be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Woman clueless about power tools gets roasted by TikTok – Dexerto

Woman clueless about power tools gets roasted by TikTok TikTok: lexxxratcliffeA confused woman is getting roasted on TikTok after asking the internet to identify a power tool that wasn’t working to her expectations when building some furniture. The internet is a perfect place for asking questions. After all, with over 4.8 billion people using social media every day, there’s gotta be someone out there who can help you out in a pinch — right? That’s what one woman assumed when she took to TikTok to ask viewers to identify a power tool she was using… or rather, trying to use with little success. TikTok user Lex Ratcliffe was in the middle of building some furniture when she realized that what she thought was a power drill wasn’t exactly working the way she thought it should. TikTok roasts a woman who is clueless about power tools Instead of the drill having the usual drill bit on the end, to which she could affix a screw, she realized that the bit was a bit bigger than what she expected. “So, I’m trying to build my goddamn shelves, and usually there’s a screwdriver on the end, and you just put it in the little cracks and it works,” she said, demonstrating the action for her viewers. “But this is like, a magnet one. I don’t think there’s any other device in my household — I’ve never seen this before. It usually just always has the thing, but it doesn’t, and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.” Unfortunately for Lex, rather than getting a straight answer, she received a swath of critical comments instead. “Oh my Lord, please someone get this girl a man. I’d hate to see what she does behind a wheel,” one commenter wrote. “The lights are on, but nobody is home,” another said. Still others tried to steer her in the wrong direction by giving her totally wrong answers, such as one sarcastic viewer who wrote, “I believe it’s a forklift.” However, this writer can confirm that the tool Lex was so frustrated with is, indeed, a power drill as she had originally thought. Instead, she had a nut driver on the end, but needed to change it out to a Phillips-head bit in order to screw in the nails for her shelf. (That being said, quite a few commenters are insisting it’s an electric hammer, as well.) This is just the latest gal doing home improvement projects to get roasted by the internet after one woman received the wrath of TikTok for updating her boyfriend’s apartment using an aesthetic that many viewers didn’t appreciate.

  • Woman claims Target gave her $200 in food blenders instead of makeup supplies – Dexerto

Woman claims Target gave her $200 in food blenders instead of makeup supplies TikTok: IamSofiaBellaA woman on TikTok is claiming that Target substituted her order of $40 worth of makeup “beauty blenders” with over $200 worth of name-brand kitchen blenders instead. An increasing number of stores recently have adopted curbside pickup and delivery options for their customers, including Walmart and Target. After ordering online, an employee goes out onto the floor and grabs your items and sometimes substitutes out-of-stock items with similar products, like replacing a store brand item with a bigger, name brand. But TikToker Sofia Bella claims that she hit the motherload with her Target shopper, receiving over $200 in kitchen appliances instead of the $40 worth of “beauty blender” makeup supplies she ordered. TikToker claims Target substituted makeup supplies with actual blender Uploaded on February 15, Sofia’s video has been viewed nearly three million times with thousands of viewers flooding the comments with their thoughts. “There’s no way that this is real, okay? I just made a Target order. One of the things I ordered is two beauty blenders. Apparently, they were out of beauty blenders and my Target shopper thought they were blenders,” She explained while holding up two boxes. In each of the boxes is a Ninja brand blender, which according to the Target website goes for just over $100 each. If Sofia ordered Ulta brand beauty blenders, the total would have been roughly $20 a piece. She doesn’t make it clear whether or not Target charged her for the blenders or priced matched them to the makeup accessories she ordered. Viewers quickly reacted to the video in the comments, with many raising questions. “How do you see the price of a beauty blender and the price of a foodi blender and think that’s a substitute?” one user asked. Another viewer said: “I used to work at target and we didn’t have the option to do substitutions so that’s weird.” For more news and other entertainment stories, head over to our hub.

  • Woman claims she got kicked out of Starbucks for wearing a ‘revealing’ top – Dexerto

Woman claims she got kicked out of Starbucks for wearing a ‘revealing’ top TIKTOK: ezzystylesA woman went viral on TikTok after claiming she got kicked out of her local Starbucks because of the tube top she was wearing. Content creator Ezzy, who posts under the handle ezzystyles, said she was asked to leave the coffee shop due to her ‘revealing’ top. “I just got dress-coded at Starbucks,” she exclaimed in her video, alleging this occurred at a store on her college campus. “Be for real, be so for real right now, on campus too, at my big age,” Ezzy added. The TikToker claimed that a Starbucks employee asked her to wear a “full shirt” at the café, after seeing her cropped pale yellow tube top. “She was like, ‘Yeah, I’m so sorry, it’s just since this is an establishment, it’s required that you wear a full shirt,’” she recalled. “I was like, ‘B*tch, I’m not your employee, like, I don’t work for you. I’m an adult.’” Ezzy assured her followers that she wasn’t going to let the incident ruin her day, saying, “Let me tell you one thing, ain’t nothing gonna stop my shine today. I just look too cute.” TikTok users in the comments were shocked that she was dress-coded at Starbucks, and argued that there’s nothing wrong with her top. “How the hell is it possible to be dress coded for a tube top in public?” one user questioned. “That’s ridiculous, you should be able to go into a public setting without worrying about if your outfit fits their dress code smh,” another added. “Your fit looks really cute! Idk why Starbucks was giving you sh*t,” a third wrote. “Starbucks trying to enforce dress codes on CUSTOMERS. Are they for real?” someone else said. Others sided with the employee, saying Ezzy’s outfit was ‘too inappropriate’ to wear in a coffee shop. This wouldn’t be the first time a TikToker’s been booted out of an establishment for lack of clothing. Last month, a woman went viral after getting kicked out of Disney World for wearing a backless shirt.

  • Woman claims restaurant catfished her by pretending to be hot date – Dexerto

Woman claims restaurant catfished her by pretending to be hot date TikTok: paretayA woman has taken to TikTok to share how she was allegedly catfished by a restaurant pretending to be her date. There is a lot to keep in mind when meeting someone for the first time through a dating app, such as what to wear, how to ensure your safety… and whether or not your date is even real. Being catfished is when someone pretends to be someone else online, using fake photos and a fake persona to lure their victim into believing they’ve just found a top-notch catch. But what about being catfished by a restaurant? As bizarre as it may sound, that is exactly what happened to one woman who took to TikTok to share how a restaurant allegedly tricked her into a lonesome dinner for one. Taylor, who goes by ‘paretay’ on TikTok, described the ordeal as “the most humiliating experience ever”. “I met this guy on a dating app and he immediately asked me out on a date to a specific restaurant,” Taylor said. However, despite confirming on the day that the date was still on, Taylor found herself waiting at the restaurant alone. She continued, “He’s nowhere to be found. So I reached out — no response. I checked the app and noticed that he unmatched me.” Feeling “kind of pissed” that she had already gotten dressed up for the occasion, Taylor decided she might as well stay for a meal. It wasn’t until she made it home and was scrolling Facebook that Tayor saw another girl post a “very similar story” that took place in the exact same venue. “She found out that there are restaurants now posing as people on dating apps just so you go to their business and once you get stood up, they know that probably nine times out of 10 that you’re going to buy something from them,” Taylor said. “The fact that we have stooped this low… jail for all the people at the restaurant thinking they’re marketing geniuses.” Taylor slammed the restaurant for “ruining a girl’s mental self-esteem”, with viewers quick to take her side. One commented, “Wow, that’s a new low. Hard to believe this is how we treat each other.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Woman buys “stolen” McDonald’s Chairs In an upload on June 14, TikToker Martressler explained that she had purchased the set of four chairs from a guy on Facebook Marketplace. “Immediately the guy deleted his Facebook page afterward so that was a red flag, but I thought they were cute,” she said. “I always wondered where they were from, and this is what I saw last night in this south Georgia McDonalds. “It’s identical. Those are stolen McDonald’s chairs. I will kindly return the stolen artifacts to you, I do apologize. My old boss has Ruby Tuesday’s stools,” one user replied. Another commented: “They are cute and probably durable AF.” “I’m glad I’m not the only one omg! I have Starbucks outdoor patio chairs lol,” a third user replied. The chairs are also available on Alibaba according to one user, for as low as $20 depending on how many you order. • Woman charged $150 after man mows her lawn without permission – Dexerto

Woman charged $150 after man mows her lawn without permission TikTok: lifewithtadahA woman has been left baffled after being charged $150 for gardening she never permitted on her property, and it turns out she’s not the first to be targeted. No matter how careful someone is to avoid falling for a con, sometimes a sneaky swingle takes place without anyone aware it’s even happening. That is exactly what happened to one woman, who came home one day to find her gardens and lawn had been mysteriously tended to. Having recently moved to the neighborhood, she quickly found out this was not the result of a good deed but a con artist hoping to guilt her out of money. Tadah, who goes by ‘lifewithtadah’ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to share how she came home to find a note on her door reading, “I want my money $150.” Turns out, it came from a man who lived in the neighborhood — the same man who had previously gardened her yard without permission. Now, he demanded payment. “I said, ‘Sir I’m not disrespectful I promise but you came into my yard. You don’t know me. I don’t know you. We never met before and you was on my property and for you to just come on my property and cut my grass without my permission,’” Tadah recounted. “I don’t feel like I should pay you because we never had a conversation before this we never met. I don’t feel like I should feel obligated to pay you, right?” Undeterred, the man continued to request she pay him when possible, going out of his way to leave notes and block her driveway when she didn’t comply. And it turns out, Tadah is not the first woman to be targeted. In a video updating the situation, Tadah revealed another neighbor had reached out to her and shared that the same con had been pulled on her. Before long, Tadah had met with multiple women whom the man had attempted to swindle. “It’s like this man is terrorizing this neighborhood,” Tadah said, revealing she planned to put up signs and send the man a note in hopes of ending the harassment. Commenters, however, suggested more serious steps were necessary; “It’s not a nice gesture, it’s called extortion. Call the police, tell them about your case and the others, and press charges.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

In a video posted on January 2, Ronnita (ronnitabhuff) said that she called DoorDash after she caught a delivery driver putting her dog in their car on camera. “Dear DoorDasher that decided to steal my dog on the first day of the year: I got it on camera, and I’m on the phone with DoorDash,” she said. “I know he got out of the gate, but you could have knocked. You put the dog in your car.” The clip went viral with 622,000 views, and shortly after, Ronnita posted an in-depth story time TikTok. She explained that her husband checked security cameras after they noticed their dog wasn’t in the backyard. DoorDash driver takes woman’s dog “The dog was in the driveway… and then [the delivery driver] grabbed the dog. It looked like she took a picture or something. And she put him in her car and pulled off,” she said. Ronnita said they didn’t call the police, and instead contacted DoorDash because they thought that the food delivery company would have the driver’s information. “So now we’re dealing with the DoorDash legal team. They did say that they fired the lady last night, but to me, that’s not enough,” she continued. “We’re going to go the full mile. We’re going to get our dog back.” In the comments, most TikTok users suspected that the driver assumed the dog was lost. “Have you checked at the local shelter? Hopefully the Dasher truly thought it was lost and turned it over to your local shelter,” one wrote. “Maybe she thought the dog was lost and gave him to shelter. I hope y’all get him back,” another added. “Check your local shelters in person, she could have thought pup was a missing pup,” a third said. At the time go writing, Ronnita and her husband have still not located their dog. This is just the latest DoorDash story to go viral on TikTok after a customer had a Dasher pull out a knife on her.

Woman catches her boyfriend cheating through influencer’s GRWM video TIKTOK: lifeoflees/sophloafyA woman went viral on TikTok after revealing how she caught her boyfriend cheating through a content creator’s Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video. TikToker Liesel (lifeoflees) posted a video about casually scrolling through her For You Page, when her jaw hit the floor in shock. “[When you come] across a TikTok of a girl getting ready for a dinner at a guy’s house… and it was the guy you had been seeing for five months,” she captioned the clip. Viewers flooded the comments asking for a storytime, and Liesel complied with a follow-up video telling her story. She explained that it happened over a year ago, and she was dating a guy over a series of months who she wasn’t officially exclusive with. However, as he was with her three to four days a week, she assumed he wasn’t dating anyone else and was under the impression they would become boyfriend and girlfriend. Instead, she got the shock of her life. “I’m on my trusty FYP and this video pops up and she’s in his kitchen,” Liesel recalled. “I was like ‘wow, that’s familiar.’” She continued: “To make matters worse, there were multiple videos to confirm they had been hanging out the entire time. “On the nights I had to study, had a late night, had an exam, just all that kind of stuff. He was essentially just hopping between our apartments.” The woman in the GRWM video has since identified herself as Sophia (sophloafy) and posted a response to Liesel on TikTok. “It was like January 2021, I matched with this guy on Hinge … and then he asked me out,” the content creator recalled. “We were never official, at all,” Sophia said, while also noting, though, that they’d met each other’s friends and were sleeping at each other’s apartments every week. “As any girl would think, if you’re seeing a guy consistently for a while, you guys would probably be exclusive,” she continued. Sophia said that they dated for a few weeks without interruption until the man had to leave the country to work in Mexico. The two shared a tearful goodbye during their last night together, before he said he was going to his dad’s, who he claimed would drive him to the airport. Unbeknownst to her, he actually went home to Liesel, and the couple shared a romantic evening together before she drove him to the airport. Both women said they tried to continue dating after he left and asked to visit him. Things broke off with Liesel after he ghosted her, meanwhile things ended with Sophia when he randomly started dating a new woman he met in Mexico.

Public relations worker Whitney Rose is taking over TikTok for how she responded to seeing some unsavory messages about herself during a call with a vendor. Rose’s video, which has racked up over 10 million views at the time of writing, shows the TikToker sitting in front of her laptop on a call before she addresses someone on the other end of the line. “First of all, if we’re going to continue working together, I want to work with a woman sales representative, because I don’t wanna have to see locker room talk about myself when we’re sharing screens,” she says. Another person on the call immediately apologizes to Rose, calling the incident “inexcusable.” Viewers are praising the TikToker for instantly calling out the worker’s behavior and handling the situation calmly. “Locker room talk is such a nice way to say that. But good for you for standing up for yourself!” one user wrote. “You handled this so well!” another praised. “I’m sending this to my daughters! You are AMAZING!” Woman goes viral for confronting male worker over leaked “locker room talk” messages However, the ordeal wasn’t over. In a follow-up video, Rose shared an email she’d received from the company’s VP of sales, who apologized for the incident — but claimed he did “not have anyone skilled enough to assist you that is female.” “I think that this could have been written a lot better,” the TikToker said. “I also think that he could have picked up the phone and called me himself.” She went on to criticize the company for not hiring more women, a sentiment that was echoed by commenters. Many viewers urged her to drop the vendor completely — and Rose says that’s basically what’s happening. In her most recent video, Rose claimed that the VP of sales finally gave her a call to “do damage control, basically to save the sale,” but it’s too little, too late. “I cannot work with a vendor, and my company will not support a vendor that does not support women in business,” she explained. “It’s just not going to happen. …they don’t deserve to have a business, they don’t deserve to employ any woman, anywhere in the world.” For now, she has yet to reveal the vendor’s name publicly, although commenters are vying for her to namedrop the company and “hold them accountable” for the incident. This is just the latest work-related scandal to go viral on TikTok after a Google worker shared a day in their life after being laid off by the tech giant.

The video continued with the woman looking embarrassed as she was called up to the stage by her beau. “I want to say, I’m crazy in love with you,” he told his partner after she tentatively walked over to him. And eventually off public she returned the ring,” another wrote. “Secondhand embarrassment is real,” a third added. • Woman calls out friend’s mom for stranding her at airport after nightmare trip – Dexerto

Woman calls out friend’s mom for stranding her at airport after nightmare trip PIXABAY: STOCKSNAPA woman called out her friend’s mom on a forum, after leaving her stranded at an airport at 4 am, following a trip from hell. Traveling is something many of us like to do to relax, relieve stress, and spend more time with our friends and families. For Mumsnet user Lis1992, she discovered her friend’s true colors after a nightmare trip to an all-inclusive holiday resort in Spain. The user shared a post to Mumsnet, detailing a recent unfortunate trip she had with her friend. “I’m just back from a vacation with a friend. We did 10 days at an all-inclusive resort in Spain. For the entire trip (pretty much from the beginning) I got the vibe she didn’t want to be there” she wrote. The beginning of a nightmare trip “She complained about the sun, heat, etc (it was Spain in July) and I understand that as it was hot of course. But she was annoyed when I wanted to enjoy some sun by the pool and read my books. So I offered to do stuff during the day and she’d snap and say no way how silly was that in the hottest part of the day etc.” She also described other trivial behaviors from her friend, like rolling her eyes after being asked to reciprocate rubbing sunscreen, complaining about the sun, and snapping at her friend when offered to do activities during the day. In addition, her friend insisted on sharing a room with her for costs and claimed that she didn’t snore. But according to the Mumsnet user, she snores “horribly loudly.” “She fell asleep instantly and snored with unbearable volume for the whole night. I was chronically sleep deprived and it was really frustrating after paying so much for the trip.” Despite trying her best to accommodate her travel companion, her friend was complaining about her to her mom, told her off for not liking big crowds, and snapped at her about a meal they had to split. The aftermath of the nightmare trip After the trip, they returned to the airport at 4 AM, four hours later than they were supposed to. Although she lived on the same route home as them, her friend’s mom did not offer her a ride home. “She had a lift home from the airport from her mom. The flight was very late (landed at 4 AM after a long delay). I waited with her in the terminal so she wouldn’t be standing alone.” she wrote. The Mumsnet user says her friend’s mom barely acknowledged her when she arrived, and she was left to take a taxi home. “As a woman at 4 AM with the steps of the airport inky blank in darkness and deserted, I’d know her mother quite well but she was horribly cold to me and said: ‘you take care now’ in such a dismissive tone as though as I was somehow in the wrong.” She didn’t think the treatment was fair, as, before the trip, the Mumsnet user purchased her friend a birthday gift (despite not getting one in return) and even gave her mom a bottle of wine prior to going on the trip. Lis1992 also said she was willing to provide them with gas money but wasn’t even given a chance. She wanted to know if she was in the wrong for blocking them on WhatsApp and expecting a ride home. So what do you think? Would you leave someone like that to get a cab, despite hearing that they were being unpleasant on a vacation? Or is that too far? Let us know.

  • Woman calls out Goodwill for having security camera looking into dressing room stalls – Dexerto

Woman calls out Goodwill for having security camera looking into dressing room stalls Unsplash.com: Oxa Roxa / TikTokA woman is going viral on TikTok after warning customers about a security camera placed above stalls in the dressing room of a Goodwill located in South Zanesville, Ohio. TikTok is home to all manner of videos and viral clips — some of which take the platform by storm for warning users about scams, being mistreated at restaurants, and other questionable practices from businesses. One user is going viral for discovering something shocking at her local Goodwill, an American chain of nonprofit thrift stores. TikToker and tattoo artist ‘Crypt’ was changing in the fitting room of a Goodwill store located in South Zanesville, Ohio when she noticed a security camera located just above her stall. She took a video showing that the camera could potentially see into the changing rooms, sparking alarm and outrage from commenters. “Care to explain?” Crypt wrote in the clip’s caption, tagging the establishment’s official TikTok handle. Her video has racked up over half a million views since being uploaded in December as more and more commenters weigh in on the situation. TikTok users outraged over “hidden camera” in Goodwill changing room “I wouldn’t be going there anymore and turn it into the police,” one user wrote. “Keep an eye open for any other stores doing it.” “That’s illegal,” another said. However, other commenters argued that the camera was likely not looking directly into the stalls but rather away from it toward the door leading out into the rest of the store. “As a former security tech, I can say it probably doesn’t,” another user explained. “It may not even be pointed at the changing room. It is, however, a bad installation location.” “I work with these types of cameras,” a commenter claimed. “Looks like it’s angled the opposite direction, probably a door over there that it’s watching.” Goodwill has not responded to Crypt’s video at the time of writing. This is far from the first time “hidden cameras” have taken over TikTok; in September 2022, users helped a woman spot a possible hidden camera in the bathroom of a dance studio, prompting similar amounts of outrage from concerned viewers.

  • Woman calls out bar after bouncer snaps her real ID in half – Dexerto

Woman calls out bar after bouncer snaps her real ID in half TIKTOK: kristen_nicolesA 23-year-old woman went viral on TikTok after claiming a bouncer cut her real ID in half without explanation. Content creator Kristen (kristen_nicoles) posted a TikTok video about the incident, which has amassed a whopping 7.5 million views. “I just came to this freaking bar and they snapped my ID in half,” Kristen said. “My real ID, they just snapped in half,” she added, as she held her hand up to the camera to show it was split in two. The frustrated TikToker then filmed the bar, and continued to complain that the establishment cut her real ID in half. According to the video caption, the bar is Mother’s Tavern in San Luis Obispo, Calif. In a follow-up video, Kristen said that the bouncer stamped her and her friends on the wrist and admitted them without any problems. After a few hours, however, they decided to leave to check out other bars. When they returned to Mother’s Tavern because Kristen wanted to use the bathroom, the same bouncer asked to see her stamped wrist. The 23-year-old claimed he gave her a “funny look” after she showed it to him. The bouncer then asked to see her ID, which he also gave a “funny look, before telling the TikToker he needed to keep it while she used the restroom. “I was really confused. I’ve never heard of a bouncer doing that,” Kristen said. “I had to pee really bad, so I said, ‘Okay, no problem, you can hold my ID.’” Kristen said when she returned, another bouncer was at the door while the bouncer who took her ID was “nowhere to be found.” She continued the story in another video, saying she found out from the new bouncer that the previous one was at “the other end of the bar.” As Kristen approached the original one, he handed her the torn ID and claimed it was fake. The TikToker doesn’t know why he thought it was fake. The only explanation she could come up with was that he may never have seen a vertical ID before. Kristen went to the police department the next day to make a report against the bar. She was informed that she’d have to file the report against the bartender rather than the establishment. The content creator explained that she’s upset because she’s on holiday and her only form of identification had been destroyed. As she has to drive home, Kristen hopes she does not get pulled over on the way.

Woman breaks up with boyfriend of two years over TikTok comments and goes viral TikTok/UnsplashA Redditor has gone viral after revealing that she broke up with her long-term boyfriend over some of the comments made on his TikTok account – even though they may not have come from him. As TikTok has gotten bigger and bigger over the last few years, trends that have popped up on the short-form video platform have spread across the internet like wildfire. Many of these trends relate to the videos that are posted on TikTok, but it doesn’t have to just be limited to those either. We’ve seen ‘cults’ of profile photos and spam comments also make waves across other social media platforms. In fact, one Redditor has caught the eye of many after she decided to dump her long-term boyfriend over comments he and his friends apparently made on a round of TikTok videos. Redditor goes viral after breaking up with partner over TikTok comments The Redditor in question posted on the Off My Chest subreddit, as she vented about her boyfriend and his friends’ behavior on the video app. She claimed that her boyfriend had been agreeing with TikToks that were making misogynistic comments and he had been tagging his pals in the comments section too. “I feel sick. I thought we had the same views on things like this?” she added, noting that she planned to break up with him over it. Things took a slight turn though when the boyfriend’s mother called her and the pair discussed things. The Redditor noted that her boyfriend and friends had, in fact, been trying to catch out a “toxic” friend in a months-long scheme. Though, she added that they’d at least be taking a break anyway. Her post garnered plenty of support, telling the Redditor that she had “done the right thing” and “dodged a bullet” by breaking up with her boyfriend. “I hope you find someone caring and loving who does not believe in fu*king cheating,” said one. “Don’t let him try to gaslight you into a bs story about just agreeing “because of his friends did it too” or similar bs,” added another.

Those who saw Brielle’s viral TikTok took to the comments to express their feelings on her vent session, saying, “It’s so repetitive and depressing, I feel you, girl.” While another agreed, saying, “Everyone feels like this and no one does anything about it.” As well as, “I remember having this same realization… like this is what I couldn’t wait to grow up for? • MrBeast reduces woman to tears by giving her a free house – Dexerto

MrBeast reduces woman to tears by giving her a free house Instagram: MrBeast / Unsplash: Johnson LiuJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is at it again. After he surprised a woman by giving her a free house and a brand-new car, she broke down in tears in one of his YouTube channel’s most heartwarming moments. MrBeast truly is the king of philanthropy. He’s had many hair-brained schemes to give away houses in the past, having started a Minecraft house building competition and picked out a subscriber to choose between having a house and a Lamborghini. However, in this latest scheme, he really outdid himself. He decided to give away completely furnished houses, with every trimming you could possibly imagine, for just $1. However, he kept one, completely empty house aside to give to someone in need. Todd Hallow, dad of MrBeast’s crewmate Chandler, nominated a friend called Felicia, who he explained had recently been in and out of hospital. MrBeast decided she was the perfect candidate for the free house. Todd was given unlimited use of MrBeast’s credit card to kit out the house. When it was furnished, they called Felicia over to deliver the good news. Felicia was understandably almost speechless. “Wait a minute, wait a minute,” she said. “I don’t even believe it. I don’t even know what to do.” After looking around the house, Felicia broke down in tears and was comforted by her daughter. “I don’t deserve this,” she added. Segment starts at 09:01. Felicia was able to regain her composure, however, and burst out laughing when she discovered a lifetime’s supply of coffee had been left in the kitchen. “Y’all are nuts,” she said. On top of the fully furnished house, Felicia was given 6 additional TVs, an outdoor grill (confusingly placed indoors) and a brand new saloon car. It’s the latest example of how MrBeast’s philanthropy really does change the lives of people fortunate enough to catch him during one of his schemes. And it pays off for MrBeast too – as he’s one of the most successful YouTubers.

Content creator kcfiguringitout was left disappointed when she discovered how small the fries in a Happy Meal really are. In a viral eight-second clip, she recorded herself in her car holding a tiny cardboard box that contained the fries. “Did y’all know that this is the f**king fry that they give you with a Happy Meal? A f**king… What is this?! What is this?!” the TikToker ranted. The fries in the video appeared to be half the size of regular small fries, as they’re meant for kids. The outraged McDonald’s customer showed the French fries to the camera, while holding them next to her head. “Feel bad for these kids but I also get it,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which has amassed over 486,000 views and 30,000 likes. TikTok users in the comments were divided over kcfiguringitout’s video, with some agreeing that the fries are too small. “It’s ridiculous,” one person wrote. “Fries for ants,” another added. “When I was a kid it was just a small fry,” a third shared. Others, however, defended McDonald’s and slammed the content creator for expecting more from a children’s meal. “Because usually when you get a Happy Meal, it’s for a KID,” one pointed out. “Lol you’re a grown woman complaining about food for toddlers,” another said. “It’s called baby fry for a reason,” someone else commented. According to the McDonald’s website, Happy Meal fries have 110 calories and 5 grams of fat, while small fries have 230 calories and 11 grams of fat. This is just the latest McDonald’s-related moment to take off on TikTok, after the fast food chain’s Grimace Shake took the social media app by storm.

TikTok’s most famous creators have become household names by this point. Influencers like Charli D’Amelio, Bella Poarch, and more are so famous that they’ve even gotten their own reality shows and music careers. However, one woman found herself among the site’s upper echelon of creators, leaving userse totally shocked and confused by the situation. At present, TikTok’s most-liked accounts are held by the likes of Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae… but TikToker Krissy Malloy has also entered the fray. Who is Krissi Malloy? Woman accidentally becomes TikTok’s second most-liked creator Krissi Malloy is a somewhat prominent TikToker with over one million followers on the video-sharing app. She often posts uplifting videos in her series called ‘Restoring Faith in Humanity,’ where she shares clips of wholesome events like animals getting rescued from dire situations or people giving back to their communities. However, Malloy has also been listed as one of TikTok’s most-liked accounts… and that’s because, at the time of writing, she boasts over 8 billion likes on the app. Currently, there’s no explanation why she’s gotten so many likes without achieving viral fame like Charli and Addison, but many commenters are chalking it up to a simple glitch in TikTok’s system — which would make sense, if not for the fact that she’s held this position for a whopping three years now. Krissi herself seems baffled by the whole situation and has even poked fun at her title in a few videos, saying that she’s not a “TikTok star” in spite of her like count on the app. Whatever the reason may be, Krissi’s wholesome content is certainly a breath of fresh air regardless of the supposed glitch seemingly affecting her account. Fortunately, the TikToker managed to call and Uber and make it in time for her friend’s wedding reception, although she ended up missing the entrance and speeches. Arti explained the hilarious situation in a follow-up video, saying she was running late and sprinted into the venue without checking. “Immediately no one looked familiar, which is okay because I’m coming from out of town,” she said. “I didn’t know a lot of the wedding guests but then I saw the big board that said ‘congratulations Caitlin and Stephen’ and I though oh I must just be at the wrong entrance. Maybe it’s a big building and it’s hosting multiple events,” she continued. But after it downed on her she was in the wrong place, Arti “desperately” tried to get an Uber to the right venue. Despite showing up late, the content creator said the bride and groom of the correct wedding were “super chill” and were just glad she made it. Woman banned from gym after complaining of man getting in the way of her video TikTok: thejoeyswolA woman has been banned from her gym after she complained about a male patron getting in the way of her video. Going to the gym can be an anxiety-inducing experience for some patrons. From worrying about doing an exercise wrong to obsessing over how they look while sweating it out, simply going to the gym in the first place is a big accomplishment for anxious folks. However, modern technology has made the gym even more of an apprehensive experience for many patrons — specifically, smartphone cameras. We’ve covered a rash of gym incidents where influencers have come under fire for filming unsuspecting people during their workouts. For instance, one woman got slammed for making fun of an older patron for kicking a punching bag, all while the man himself had no idea he was being plastered all over the internet. Now, another influencer is coming under fire for complaining after a man got in the way of her shot as she was working out. Influencer’s gym membership revoked after video goes viral The backlash began after an influencer named ‘mrocha_85’ uploaded footage from her workout to Instagram. In the video, she was doing weighted lunges with a barbell across a strip of astroturf. On the right side of the astroturf, a man could be seen removing plates from the bench press. At one point in the video, it appears like he looks in the influencer’s direction, but it’s unclear if he was looking directly at her, specifically. It doesn’t look like she was happy with the guy being in her shot, saying in a caption on the video: “Why are guys like this? Who invited him to come out in my video? God, give me patience.” The video quickly went viral online, leaving viewers outraged that she was upset at the man over a seemingly small infraction. The video made its way to the internet’s resident good-guy gym bro, Joey Swoll, who called her out in another viral clip. “Just because you start filming doesn’t mean everybody else has to stop their workout just for you,” he said. “You don’t own the gym.” That’s not all; Swoll even claimed that he called the gym and spoke with the General Manager, who assured him that the influencer’s membership had been revoked as a result of the incident. UPDATE* Just spoke to GM at this EOS location Kishan and he thanked me for this video. He informed me that he spoke with the gentleman in the video and made sure he’s comfortable being there staying a member. He has also informed that he has revoked her membership. — Joey Swoll (@TheJoeySwoll) October 17, 2023 The manager also said that they’d approached the man in the video and “made sure he was comfortable staying at the gym as a member. Commenters were quick to applaud Swoll for contacting the gym and calling out bad behavior from gym-goers — something the “CEO of gym positivity” is famous for.

Woman asks for rich dad’s number after date tries to split the bill TikTok: @karolinageitsA woman went viral on TikTok after she asked for her date’s rich dad’s number when he tried to split the bill. The debate of whether or not the man should pay for the first date is still very much alive. Tradition dictates that this should be the order of things, but does modern society still view things in this manner? Well, one woman thought so, and she went viral on TikTok after sharing her most recent date. Karolina created a reenactment for users on what to do when dating a rich boy. “Tomorrow?” she asks. “I will call you.” She says before leaning back into her seat where she asks the guy if he can tell what he does for a living. “I’m very interested,” she says. “Yeah, yes, my father, my father started the company and, and you know, I grew up in the family business and now it’s great. Yeah, so I get to work with him and everything he built and it’s something I’m really proud of,” he says. He asks her to split the bill 50/50, to which she replies, “I thought we are on a date, but if you wanna be friends you know we can be friends,” in an attempt to emasculate him. “So you told me that you work for your father’s company. May I ask you a question, personally? Maybe you can give me his number? You know and I can go on a date with him,” she jests. The man eventually agrees to pay for the whole meal. But if you invited me out on a first date you’re paying,” another weighed in.

The two didn’t know each other before the encounter, so neither Morgan nor her sister Carley was sure if he would show up, as the wedding was also happening on the same day she’d asked him to escort her. However, to their surprise, Scott drove alone to the venue to accompany Morgan. Not only that, but he hit it off with just about every guest in attendance. As the nighttime fell, Scott hugged Morgan’s “Nana,” danced with the bride, and even met the parents of the groom. To put it frankly — Scott showed up and showed out. Luckily for Morgan, the entire night was recorded by her sister, who took to TikTok to share what a standup date Scott had been. Those who saw the video of what the sisters claimed as “the best night ever” took to the comments of Carley’s TikTok to share their thoughts, saying, “Him hugging everyone? He fits right in!” Others joked about how confident Scott was while surrounded by people he didn’t know, saying, “All I know is, this man is fun no matter where he goes.” As well as, “The epitome of ‘person with no social anxiety.’” Though Morgan and Scott had an epic night together at the wedding, neither she nor her sister commented on the video to update on whether or not Morgan and Scott have continued their relationship… but it’s safe to say that commenters definitely want them to end up together.

  • Woman arrested for “stolen” car she claims was a gift from Waffle House customer – Dexerto

Woman arrested for “stolen” car she claims was a gift from Waffle House customer TikTok: riverrodsA woman was arrested after police discovered that she was in possession of a stolen vehicle that she then claimed was given to her by a Waffle House customer. The post was made on April 4, on the Tulsa Police Department’s Facebook page. The opener reads, “STOLEN SUV ARREST — Woman claims she received the stolen SUV as a birthday tip from a Waffle House customer.” The whole thing took place on April fools, but it’s not a joke. The Tulsa Police department gave a breakdown of the events, stating: “On 4/1/2024 around 3:55 p.m, the Tulsa Police Department’s Real Time Information Center (RTIC) received an alert from a Flock Safety Camera about a stolen white Jeep Liberty at Admiral and Darlington. “The RTIC continued to track the stolen Jeep until Officers could initiate a traffic stop near Admiral and Sheridan.” Once they tracked down the woman, however, she gave a wholly unexpected report to the police: “The driver of the vehicle, Angela Harrison, claimed she was at a gas station just an hour before. Ms. Harrison said she ran into a former customer of hers when she worked at Waffle House, and he gave her $10 cash and the white Jeep Liberty because her 53rd birthday was coming up in a few weeks. “The Jeep, however, was reported stolen before Christmas, and Detectives had already obtained a surveillance photo of Angela Harrison in the vehicle from January 14th. Ms. Harrison identified herself as the woman in the photo, but could not explain how she could have been in possession of the vehicle in January when she claimed it was gifted to her only an hour before.” The vehicle was returned to the original owner’s family, as the SUV’s owner had died the previous year. “Angela Harrison was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Great collaboration between our Patrol Officers, Detectives, and the RTIC! This is an arrest, not a conviction,” the Tulsa Police Department closed. In other police-related news, Kick streamer Johnny Somali was arrested on April 6, after harassing a female police officer in Israel.

Woman arrested after being accused of killing husband on Facebook Live Lowndes County, MS Sheriff’s OfficeA woman has been accused of murdering her husband while streaming it on Facebook Live, according to a statement made by her local Sheriff’s office. At 7.42 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023, deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi responded to a domestic violence call, arresting 28-year-old Kadejah Michelle Brown, charging her with murder after a shooting during which one male victim was killed. According to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office, a 28-year-old male victim died from a single gunshot wound. The pair were reportedly involved in an altercation before the shooting took place, with the whole thing being streamed on Facebook Live. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a 9 mm handgun was recovered “along with other physical evidence.” Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said the following: “There was a history of domestic violence between Brown and the victim. This was a tragic and senseless murder and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim. Fortunately, Brown is in custody and we look forward to the criminal justice system holding her accountable.” The incident remains under investigation, with no bond set at the time of writing. This comes just weeks after a YouTuber reportedly faked a Grand Theft Auto livestream to have an alibi while he murdered a pregnant woman. In that case, the man in question, Stephen McCullagh, admitted that the stream hadn’t been recorded the night of the incident, though his trial is still “some months away” at the time of writing.

Woman arrested after confrontation over ‘homophobic slurs’ in viral TikTok TikTok: scott.blevinsA woman was arrested in Delaware, Ohio in a viral TikTok that saw her confronted for allegedly using homophobic slurs. The list of things that go viral on TikTok is extensive and it really could be anything. The viral hoodie illusion video has over 40 million views, while duets of the girl hurting her back and making a high-pitched sound have caught steam on just about every corner of the app. The TikTok in question was originally posted on April 9, 2022, but spread like wildfire towards the tail end of the month, picking up over 2 million views and garnering hundreds of thousands of likes and comments. Originally posted by scott.blevins, the video sees him get into a confrontation with his “Karen” neighbor after confronting her for using homophobic slurs — and it ended awfully for her. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load After lashing out at Blevins, the camera cuts to a scene showing a police car outside, lights flashing, suggesting she had been arrested. Sure enough, at the end of the video, Blevins shows a screenshot from the local sheriff’s office’s website, featuring a mugshot of the accused, showing that she had been detained. There is no reason for her detainment provided in the screenshot, but viewers in the comments seem delighted with the outcome nonetheless, saying that “I love the ending to this story!” Regardless of the reason for her detainment, the woman accused will definitely think twice before using homophobic slurs around her neighbor again — and hopefully, stop using them completely.

Woman admits to sleeping with lawyer for free legal advice in viral TikTok TikTok/gpvafi/PixabayA woman is going viral on TikTok after revealing her successful scheme to track down a lawyer and sleep with him for free legal advice. Lawyers can be quite expensive, but one TikToker has figured out a way to get legal advice in an extremely controversial manner that has the internet split. In a video that has been viewed over 1.4 million times, user Gina Penelope revealed that a few years ago when she needed legal advice she couldn’t afford, she searched for a lawyer on LinkedIn and arranged to “bump into him.” After a week straight of casually meeting up with this lawyer at Starbucks, he eventually asked her out and the two dated for about a month with him helping Penelope get her legal situation figured out. TikTok split after woman dates lawyer just for legal issue In the comments, TikTok users were torn on the fact she only slept with a man for his legal expertise with some applauding Penelope for her solution. “This is insane and inspiring,” one commented. “That’s strategic problem solving,” another praised. (click here if TikTok fails to load) However, while the majority of comments were in support of the TikToker, not everyone was on board with how she was able to get legal help. “Stories like these make me realize I’m not that crazy after all,” someone remarked. As Penelope’s story continues to gain traction, it will be interesting to see if more women decide to hook up with lawyers just as she did, especially with so insisting they’d do the same.

  • Woman “almost died” after spear thrown through her car windshield – Dexerto

Woman “almost died” after spear thrown through her car windshield TIKTOK/@420JUICYA woman has gone viral on TikTok after showing the damage on the windshield of her car after having a spear thrown through it while being parked in San Antonio, Texas. It’s a well-known fact that millennials hate driving behind log trucks after watching that scene in Final Destination. It’s become a common fear to have. But something no driver would even expect to happen would be to have a spear thrown at them while sat in their car. Yet this is exactly what happened to TikToker 420juicy, who claimed a spear was thrown at her when she was sitting in her car. According to the woman, a spear was thrown directly towards her while she was in the vehicle. In a video that has racked up over 18 million views on TikTok, the woman captures footage of the aftermath, and folks even have theories as to how she could possibly track down the culprit. Woman has a spear thrown at her while sitting in her car The woman posted video footage of the incident on TikTok on August 22. According to her hashtags, the whole thing went down in San Antonio, Texas. Naturally, she didn’t capture any footage of the spear being thrown, let alone get a video of the person who did it. But from what she was able to film, it looks like it was an incredibly close call. “So yeah guys, I almost died,” she said in the video. “Somebody threw a spear through my car tonight.” The spear is seen having gone right through her windshield. It had even entered at such an angle that it flew through the passenger side over toward the driver’s seat and into the steering wheel. Whoever threw the spear came unsettlingly close to hurting OP or worse. “Yay, me,” she joked sarcastically, trying to make light of “her near-death experience.” In a second TikTok, a cop who arrived on the scene removed the spear. The spear itself is reasonably large and according to the cop, it wasn’t even that heavy. However, it was heavy enough that if thrown with an ample amount of force, it could have seriously hurt someone. The cop even agreed with OP’s sentiment. “You could’ve died,” he told her. She captioned the second video: “Spear through my windshield. Csi pulling it out. Completely random attack. Not road rage nor do I know who did this. This was someone standing on the side of the access road.”

So, I have now called a lot of people – doctors and friends of mine – and they have all suggested the same thing,” she said. Woman accuses MGK’s drummer of cheating on her as she scattered brother’s ashes Instagram: teatotalkTikToker Parker Blaine shared the craziest thing an ex did to her, telling the story about MGK’s drummer, Rook, who cheated on her while she was scattering her brother’s ashes. TikToker and wardrobe stylist Parker Blaine recently opened up about what the craziest thing an ex did to her. Though she admitted there were a few stories she could tell, Blaine told the story about when her ex-boyfriend JP “Rook” Cappelletty cheated on her while she was scattering her brother’s ashes. Saying that she found out two months after it happened, it was then that Blaine was able to confront Rook, who is also MGK’s lead drummer, about his alleged cheating. Parker Blaine’s ex-boyfriend Rook denied cheating on her When Blaine was in Mexico spreading her brother’s ashes in the ocean, she had no idea that her boyfriend at the time, Rook, was back home cheating on her. Blaine found out two months later when she posted her first picture of Rook to her Instagram. After a girl saw the picture, she DMed Blaine saying that someone she knew was with Rook months prior. Blaine mentioned in her explanation that when a girl is DMing you, “you know some sh*t is wrong.” And to her surprise, she was unfortunately right. When she finally pieced together the timeline, Blaine was beside herself to know someone she was so close to could be “so f*cked.” The discretion was enough for Blaine to call their relationship, saying “that was it” when she found out. Blaine went on to say that Rook gave her the “classic sob story” while she questioned him about his cheating — which at first, he denied. Though Blaine didn’t know who the girl was that Rook cheated with, she called her “savage,” saying that girls in L.A. show no mercy for girls who have boyfriends.

  • Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort sends big warning to influencers promoting crypto tokens – Dexerto

Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort sends big warning to influencers promoting crypto tokens YouTube: Full Send PodcastThe crypto space has blown up in recent years and, with many influencers trading cryptocurrency and tokens, as well as promoting ones they work with, Jordan Belfort has some stern words for those not being careful. In recent months, we’ve seen many influencers getting ever more involved in crypto, be it just trading currency as an investment or buying NFTs for their own digital art collection. It hasn’t all been fun and games though. In July 2021, FaZe Clan dropped Kay and suspended Teeqo, Nikan and Jarvis over an alleged crypto pump-and-dump scam. While Teeqo has since been reinstated to FaZe Clan, the rest remain separated from the team, with the entire ordeal being a real eye-opener for both fans and fellow influencers alike. This isn’t something lost on Jordan Belfort, either. Known more commonly as the Wolf of Wall Street, with the hit 2013 Leonardo DiCaprio film based on his career, Belfort is very familiar with how money can dictate someone’s come-up — and their fall from grace. Read More: Where to buy Nelk Boys Happy Dad Seltzer – Having served time himself for market manipulation, Belfort spoke on the NELK Boys’ Full Send podcast about how he’s surprised to see it so rife in the crypto space. “Every single crypto deal… I went to jail for what you guys do every f**king day,” he said jokingly. With NELK’s Kyle Forgeard mentioning the lack of crypto regulation and influencer involvement, Belfort had some clear words. “There’s going to be some serious f**king hell to pay for that,” he said. “The wheels of justice grind slowly, but they grind forward. If you’re an influencer and you promoted a sh*t coin, and you were selling while everyone else was buying… The paper trail does not go away.” Timestamp 12:59 Hinting that influencers promoting new ‘sh*t coins’ every week could see jail time — even suggesting a minimum five years — Belfort is clearly very wary of how influencers can affect the market. The FaZe Clan crypto ordeal is perhaps the biggest in the YouTube and online space, but if even the Wolf of Wall Street is telling you not to partake in this type of market manipulation, you’re probably best off listening.

  • Woah Vicky challenges Bhad Babie to boxing match – Dexerto

Woah Vicky challenges Bhad Babie to boxing match It’s no secret that viral internet stars Victoria “Woah Vicky” Rose & Danielle “Bhad Babie” Bregoli are beefing, but one of these celebs is taking their feud to the next level. Following the KSI vs Logan Paul boxing rematch, Bregoli Tweeted out a challenge to her rival, claiming that she’s up for throwing down with Vicky in the ring for a hefty price point. “One million and I’ll fight that horse toothed hoe in the ring,” Babie wrote. “Logan Paul, Jake Paul, cut the check.” 1 million and I’ll fight that horse toothed hoe in the ring . @LoganPaul @jakepaul cut the check https://t.co/MREloUJp98 — Bhad Bhabie (@BhadBhabie) November 10, 2019 It doesn’t look like Vicky is backing down from Bregoli’s proposal, uploading an entire video to YouTube where she trained with former WBC super welterweight champ Jermell Charlo. That’s not all: the meme-turned-internet celeb even signed a contract toward the end of the video, giving a pointed callout to her arch enemy in the process. “I’m a real b***,” Vicky stated. “I don’t go back and forth on the internet. But if you want to do this s***, we can do this s*** the right way. We can set this s*** up, make some money off this s***. All I know is, when I get my money – when I win, ‘cause Imma win – I’m taking my s*** right to charity.” That’s not all: Vicky even proposed a venue and date for their potential match, citing the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas as the stage of battle and scheduling the fight for summer 2020. “We gonna wait for next summer – 2020 – for your little a** to turn 17,” she continued. “So I can legally beat your a**. You feel me? That way I won’t get arrested for child abuse.” This wouldn’t be the first time the two have physically thrown down, though: the two stars scrapped in a recording studio in late October, as captured via TMZ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHHt6tObS9A While both Logan and Jake Paul have yet to reply to Bhabie’s Tweet, it seems that these two rivals are tentatively set to face off in half a year. The jury is still out on if it’ll be as viral as the KSI vs Logan Paul beef.

  • Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort claims Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather was “obviously” staged – Dexerto

Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort claims Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather was “obviously” staged SHOWTIME, Amanda Westcott / YouTube: FULL SEND PODCASTFormer stockbroker and famed ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Jordan Belfort weighed in on the recent fight between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather… but he’s not convinced their bout was for real. On June 6, 2021, YouTube star Logan Paul touched gloves with undefeated boxing champion Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in a match that no one saw coming. Surprising everyone, Paul managed to go the distance against his decorated opponent — although that didn’t stop speculation that Mayweather allegedly held up a KO’d Logan to sell the match as a Rocky-esque Cinderella story. The fight made headlines for weeks afterwards and was the talk of social media for far longer. In fact, the story is still in the mouths of just about everyone, and was brought up during a recent episode of the NELK Boys’ FULL SEND podcast. View this post on Instagram Paul’s boxing success caught the eye of Jordan Belfort, known as the ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ thanks to his highly-acclaimed novel of the same name, which details the… interesting life he led as a fraudster and hugely profitable stockbroker. Read More: Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort sends big warning to influencers promoting crypto tokens – YouTube group ‘The NELK Boys’ managed to snag him on their podcast, during which the topic of internet boxing was brought up. Belfort admitted that he admired Logan Paul’s tenacity, but wasn’t wholly convinced that his match with Mayweather wasn’t fixed. “I think it’s amazing,” he admitted. “I have tremendous respect for Logan Paul for what he’s pulled off with that whole thing, because he lost all his fights. It’s amazing. To me, that’s resiliency. It really is. I have respect for him.” “Everyone said there’s no way he lasts a round,” NELK member Kyle Forgeard interjected. “That, to me, is not why I respect him,” Belfort replied. “That was obviously staged, that whole thing. … Number one, it was an exhibition match. It wasn’t a professional fight, so to say that it was staged wouldn’t be the end of the world.” Read More: Top 20 most followed Twitch streamers – “I didn’t mean that in a derogatory way at all,” he continued. “I didn’t mean it to belittle what they did. What I’m saying is that the purpose of that fight wasn’t for Mayweather to knock out Logan Paul. The purpose was to entertain people and set up the next fight.” (Topic begins at 43:20) Whatever the case might actually be, it’s clear that Belfort isn’t alone in his thinking, but so far, there hasn’t been any word on a rematch between the 50-0 champ and his YouTuber opponent. Instead, it looks like Logan has sized up a potential bout with none other than Mike Tyson, although we’re still in the dark as to who exactly Paul wants for his next bout — whenever that may be.

Winter Love Island star Will Young receives death threats after graphic video goes viral ITVWill Young, a contestant on the upcoming reality show Love Island, has received death threats after a graphic TikTok went public. The start of a new season of Love Island is only a few days away, as the show is set to premiere on Monday, January 16 at 9 PM GMT. These young singles will be whisked away to a villa in paradise, where they will hook up, fight, and recouple for the entertainment of a global audience. It’s set to be the experience of a lifetime for the contestants, many of whom are basking in the newfound fame the show affords. However, that new spotlight is a double-edged sword, as one contestant is learning now that a graphic TikTok has been made public. Love Island contestant Will Young hit with death threats Before the first episode even aired, Love Island contestant Will Young had already made a name for himself online. As a sheep farmer who posted videos documenting his tranquil life, he already has over one million followers on TikTok. As a result, he’s already had to deal with online trolls and even death threats. In an interview with The Daily Star Young revealed that he’d received some backlash in response to a video he posted when coming to the aid of a sheep giving birth. This included death threats directed at the 23-year-old. The clip, which showed the cast member guiding the newborn through a difficult birth, was apparently taken out of context and spread online, Young says. Although it was “a bit of a shock” when he woke up to death threats, Young believes that the experience has hardened him and will make the experience of being on Love Island easier to deal with. “[Y]ou can’t please everyone and people will go to extremes so I think you’ve just got take it as it comes.” For his part, Young assured any animal-loving viewers that “[e]verything that I do it is around the welfare of the animals. I would never put them in danger or anything because at the end of the day, I think people do forget that I am a professional.

Winter House fans urge Bravo to give them a break from Danielle Olivera BravoDanielle Olivera made her debut on Winter House Season 3, but Bravo fans think she should step away from reality TV after a rough season. Winter House combines reality stars from different Bravo shows for a two-week vacation, and this season welcomed Danielle Olivera from Summer House to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Danielle often acted as the voice of reason on Summer House, but displayed completely different behavior on Winter House Season 3. She got involved in a “friends with benefits” situation with Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand Alex Propson. However, after Danielle and Alex hooked up, he told her he just wanted to be friends, and she didn’t take it well. • Winner of David Dobrik’s $100,000 puzzle challenge revealed – Dexerto

Winner of David Dobrik’s $100,000 puzzle challenge revealed YouTube: David Dobrik / 100kpuzzle.comIn December 2020, YouTube star David Dobrik unleashed a massive challenge to his fans in the form of a puzzle, with the potential grand prize being $100,000 — and months later, a lucky participant seems to have won. David Dobrik’s ‘$100,000 Puzzle’ was revealed around four months ago, with the YouTuber releasing a series of puzzles with a QR code on them. Once solved, participants — who paid $30.00 for the puzzle — would go to the site directed by the QR code, where they would find out if they’d won anywhere from 25 cents to $100,000. Despite selling over 48,000 puzzles in the span of a single week, Dobrik’s project was almost immediately met with backlash, with some critics accusing the influencer of promoting a kind of “gambling” to his young fans and even scamming his viewers. View this post on Instagram Months later, a grand winner still had not been chosen, with all hype around the puzzles dying down in wake of the drama surrounding Dobrik and his Vlog Squad in March. However, on March 25, a video was released from the 100k Puzzle’s official Instagram account, which showed what appear to be members of Dobrik’s team presenting the lucky winner with her $100,000 prize. The emotional winner stated that she is a fifth grade teacher, who plans on using the money to buy supplies for her students, put a down payment on a house, and “finally get married.” View this post on Instagram Despite the heartwarming tone of the clip, many critics are claiming the video is fake, as the $100k Puzzle company had sent emails to participants just a day prior claiming that they had just one week left to scan in their solved puzzles. This may have meant that no one had solved the winning $100,000 puzzle yet, and is thus making viewers quite skeptical of the March 25 video clip’s legitimacy. Still others suggest that the team could have waited to announce the winner after the deadline — but either way, it seems that the overall response to the $100k Puzzle’s grand announcement hasn’t been a positive one.

  • Twitch streamer who demanded donations now wants even more from viewers – Dexerto

Twitch streamer who demanded donations now wants even more from viewers Twitch streamer Jordie ‘WingsOfRedemption’ Jordan has raised eyebrows once again after revealing that he has upped his demands for how much money he needs in donations to continue streaming for another hour, claiming that the original $10 price was him being “nice.” WingsOfRedemption was one of the most popular Call of Duty content creators in the world during the early 2010s. He uploaded videos and commentaries to YouTube that regularly raked in hundreds of thousands of views during the franchise’s most successful time, playing games like Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 2. The American has since left YouTube to stream on Twitch, but has become well known for arguing with players and viewers alike during his broadcasts, and recently demanded that his audience donate money to him if they wanted to see him continue to play Modern Warfare on stream. On February 5, the streamer declared that viewers would need to pay him $10 in donations every hour if they wanted to see him continue to play the latest Call of Duty title. He claimed that his teammates were stopping him from earning a living from the game because they weren’t playing well, while also complaining about the enemy squad who were throwing smoke grenades. Less than a week later, the streamer once again went live on Twitch on February 10, this time playing Rainbow Six Siege, when a viewer asked the streamer how much it would cost to keep his stream online as he was enjoying watching it. “I’d like you to stream another hour, is $10 the going rate?” read WingsOfRedemption from his chat. “Again, if you want an actual going rate, it’s like $25. I was being nice with the $10-an-hour. I don’t want to enforce that sh*t, but what’s going to happen is I’m going to start running ads.” WingsOfRedemption isn’t the first streamer to demand money from their viewers, with BadBunny criticizing viewers who spent hours watching her content but had chosen not to subscribe to her channel, claiming that it showed they had “no respect” for her as a creator. The former YouTube star has continued to broadcast Rainbow Six Siege on his channel, but hasn’t played Call of Duty since his original outburst on February 5.

  • WingsOfRedemption stripped of Twitch partnership for violating contract – Dexerto

WingsOfRedemption stripped of Twitch partnership for violating contract Twitch: wingsofredemptionTwitch streamer WingsofRedemption has lost his partnership on the platform — which he first earned back in 2014 — for a contract violation that has left him seriously confused. Wings — real name Jordie Jordan — has always managed to cause a stir online, dating right back to his beginnings as a Call of Duty YouTuber. In November 2020, he was banned from Twitch for hate speech, while he also came under fire that same year for demanding donations from viewers, then later doubling down and demanding more. He’s often managed to make headlines for the wrong reasons and, after several years of being active on the platform, Twitch has stripped Wings of his partnership, but he doesn’t understand why. Though he’s faced several suspensions over the years, having started his account way back in 2010, this punishment looks like it could have a more lasting effect. Late on July 26, Jordan posted the following: “Twitch Canceled my partnership for Exhibit D of content guidelines. I have no clue what that means and they give you no real way to contacting them. I’ve searched for the last hour and haven’t found a valid email.” This appears to relate to Wings’ specific contract with Twitch, as opposed to the general community guidelines. Twitch Canceled my partnership for Exhibit D of content guidelines. I have no clue what that means and they give you no real way to contacting them. I’ve searched for the last hour and haven’t found a valid email. — Jordie Jordan (@WORGODICP) July 26, 2021 As it relates to Wings’ contract, it’s impossible for us to know what exactly the violation was without seeing said agreement. He went on to post what the email said, with everything he knows of the case. It said: “Due to violations of the Exhibit D — Content Guidelines of the Content License and Base Network Agreement regarding your Twitch account and entered into by and between you and Twitch as of January 23, 2014, Twitch hereby terminates the agreement effective immediately.” This is a copy-paste from the email I got from twitch. This is everything I know. pic.twitter.com/l2YWGt8g2a — Jordie Jordan (@WORGODICP) July 26, 2021 The message also adds that the termination is “non-curable,” meaning this really could be the end of the road for Wings on Twitch as a partner. At the time of writing, there is no more clarity on what exactly he did wrong to earn the partnership termination, but he’ll no doubt be looking for a way to fix it.

  • Willy Wonka under fire after filming TikTok with Tony Lopez – Dexerto

Willy Wonka under fire after filming TikTok with Tony Lopez Instagram: lopez_tony / willywonkatiktokA TikTok star who rose to viral fame after impersonating Willy Wonka has come under fire for filming a TikTok with Tony Lopez, after ongoing allegations that Tony sent inappropriate messages to minors. Allegations against 21-year-old TikToker Tony Lopez began back in August and since then multiple people have come forward online to allege that the star had behaved inappropriately with them, with many saying the behavior constitutes grooming. He responded to the accusations briefly in August when they first emerged, saying he was “disappointed in myself for them” and promised he would make “better, well informed decisions.” In October he later went on to say “no one knows the full story, and I have yet to speak about everything properly from my side of this whole thing.” Willy Wonka, real name Duke, soared to global TikTok fame in the past year thanks to his eerily accurate impression of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Willy Wonka. He now has a substantial 17.5 million followers on the platform, and has become an influencer in his own right. However, Duke has now come under fire online after Tony Lopez posted a TikTok showing him, star Sarah Jade Bleau and Willy Wonka dancing together. https://www.tiktok.com/@tonylopez/video/6907734190566001926?lang=en&sender_device=pc&sender_web_id=6891581267042141701&is_from_webapp=v2 The comments were flooded with criticism directed largely at Tony, however, Duke found himself the subject of a lot of disappointed comments beneath the video. “Not Willy Wonka with a child groomer” one commenter wrote, many others saying that their “respect for Willy Wonka” had gone down since seeing the video. However there were some fans defending Duke, saying “guys please leave Duke alone, he is not perfect, all he is doing is hanging with a friend, we all know what Tony did but don’t take it out on Duke.” Duke has not yet responded to this backlash and the video remains live on Tony Lopez’s account with over 900,000 likes at the time of writing.

  • WingsofRedemption banned from Twitch for hate speech – Dexerto

WingsofRedemption banned from Twitch for hate speech Twitter: WORGODICPPopular Twitch streamer Jordie ‘WingsofRedemption’ Jordan has revealed he was banned from the streaming platform for hate speech, but has also criticized Twitch for not being clear in the exact reasons behind his ban. Any Twitch streamer will know how careful the platform requires creators to be while live. Many streamers have, in the past, been baited into showing unsafe images or videos on stream, as viewers try and get them banned for a troll. Twitch are also known to crack down hard on any streamer who is perceived to break their rules and community guidelines. It seems that WingsofRedemption, a popular streamer known primarily for Call of Duty, but also a variety of games, was banned on November 21 for ‘hate speech.’ It was not initially clear what caused the South Carolina resident to be banned, but he tweeted out to confirm to his followers that it was for a violation of Twitch’s rules on hate speech. “So I got banned 7 days on Twitch for using hate speech,” he explained. “I’ve emailed them and I’ll let you know when I get official word for what for.” However, it seems that Jordan was not satisfied with Twitch’s written response, describing the reply he received as a “blanket statement”. So I got banned 7 days on Twitch for using hates speech I’ve emailed them and I’ll let you know when i get official word for what for. — Jordie Jordan (@WORGODICP) November 21, 2020 “Well Twitch got back to me and gave me a blanket statement,” he said. “They wont tell me what I said to get banned just that I said something. How are you to learn if you don’t point it out?” Well Twitch got back to me and gave me a blanket statement. They wont tell me what I said to get banned just that I said something. How are you too learn if you dont point it out? — Jordie Jordan (@WORGODICP) November 22, 2020 Jordan confirmed that his ban is a week-long, the same as was received by xQc for his behavior in a recent Twitch Rivals Fall Guys event. Barring any last-minute u-turn from Twitch, he’ll be free to return to the platform on November 28. Wings of Redemption has been caught up in a number of controversies on Twitch in the past. Most notably, he was slammed for demanding viewers donate to him hourly, else he would quit the game. At the time of his ban, Jordan had just under 200,000 followers on Twitch. He was previously incredibly popular on YouTube, before stopping uploads and moving almost exclusively to Twitch.

  • WillNeff claims Twitch has “gone nuclear” after controversial second ban – Dexerto

WillNeff claims Twitch has “gone nuclear” after controversial second ban Twitter: WillNeffWilliam ‘WillNeff’ Neff has been banned on Twitch for the second time. He claims it happened “without warning”, and he wished the company reached out to him before “going nuclear.” WillNeff’s popularity has been skyrocketing in 2021, and it’s still on the up-and-up. However, his squeaky-clean record on Twitch was tainted in May when the company slapped him with a bizarre DMCA ban. Now it’s happened again for different reasons, and although he took it on the chin, he had a lot to say about it. ❌ Twitch Partner “”willneff”” (@TheWillNeff) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/lUMNpcaZ6X#twitch #ban #secondban #partner #twitchpartner 🐱 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) July 17, 2021 “I was [banned] for ‘aiding account suspension evasion’ most likely because I was chilling with @mrwobblesmusic,” he said. For those who don’t know him, Mr. Wobbles is a YouTuber who covers songs. However, he is banned on Twitch — which means other streamers cannot interact with him in any form while live on the platform. WillNeff explained that it happened “without warning,” and he wished Twitch Support had reached out to him before “going nuclear.” Hey just so there is no confusion I was ban for “aiding account suspension evasion” most likely because I was chilling with @mrwobblesmusic. When I heard @cyr had been given a warning I muted stream when I spoke with @mrwobblesmusic today but apparently that was not sufficient. — Will Neff (@TheWillNeff) July 17, 2021 On the bright side, WillNeff believes the ban will “create an interesting discussion about [permanent] bans and creating content with creators outside of Twitch and the responsibility of individual creators to self-screen their content without warning.” He also urged fans to not “flame” or “troll” Twitch staff over the decision. “They have a ton on their plate, and, for the most part, they do a great job,” he said. “I just hope my ban creates a discord for handing this type of situation better in the future.” I think this case will at least create an interesting discussion about perma bans and creating content with creators out side of twitch and the responsibility of individual creators to self screen their content without warning. — Will Neff (@TheWillNeff) July 17, 2021 WillNeff’s ban will be lifted on July 19. However, there’s always a chance Twitch could decide to retract it earlier. Mr. Wobbles took responsibility for the ban in a heartfelt apology. But WillNeff told him not to be sorry and said his content is “amazing.”

Willy Wonka experience organizer’s life “ruined” as friends & lover leave him Stuart Sinclair/FacebookThe organiser and founder of the Willy Wonka Glasgow experience has claimed backlash to the event ruined his life, and caused him to lose friends and his lover. Organizer Billy Coull, director of House of Illuminati who hosted the event, described the hate he received ever since the Glasgow event went viral earlier in February this year. The Willy Wonka experience was widely slammed for false advertising, with The Guardian reporting that the experience consisted of a” sparsely decorated warehouse with a scattering of plastic props, a small bouncy castle, and some backdrops pinned against the walls.” The event quickly went viral on Twitter, with many people commenting on the lackluster props and the AI-generated storyline. It also emerged that Coull was the publisher of 16 AI-generated books, which he sold on Amazon last summer. In an interview with Channel 5 as part of their documentary on the event, Coull said that his life was “ruined” by backlash to it. “I have lost my friends. I’ve lost the love of my life. I was made out to be the face of all evil. And genuinely, that’s really not the case.” He also claimed that the original event was planned within a smaller venue and needed projection equipment which never arrived. “”I was sick to the pit of my tummy. I was hoping for an event that would be joyful, happy. I wanted people to experience happiness.” Coull also said he received hundreds of hate-filled messages after the event went viral, and that “the last thing I wanted to see was children to be upset.”

  • WillNeff reveals bizarre reason for DMCA Twitch ban – Dexerto

WillNeff reveals bizarre reason for DMCA Twitch ban Twitch: WillNeffTwitch streamer WillNeff has revealed the bizarre reason behind his Twitch ban, with a copyright claim that doesn’t quite make much sense. In the early hours of Wednesday, May 5, WillNeff was suddenly banned from the platform, leaving both he and his viewers thoroughly perplexed. Will is a pretty big streamer on Twitch, having first set up his channel in 2016 after some pushing from friend HasanAbi, and since then they’ve both grown and blown up in their own ways and become staples of the platform. That said, the Twitch ban hammer cares not for how long you’ve been streaming or how many followers you have, and it struck Will for a very strange reason. Shortly after the ban happened, the streamer took to Twitter to explain what had happened and express his confusion over it. “I just got band [sic] for watching a clip of #samuraijack that’s on YouTube on my stream,” he told his 35k followers. “Legitimately a clip on their official YouTube. What the f**k is this?” Legitimately a clip on their official YouTube. What the fuck is this. pic.twitter.com/EIHRvKO6pg — Will Neff (@TheWillNeff) May 5, 2021 In a series of follow-up tweets, Neff asked how he’s supposed to talk film if he “can’t even show clips from the official channel on YouTube?” He also added that “it’s a copyright claim for a clip they put on their own YouTube,” saying that he “doesn’t understand it at all.” It’s a copyright claim. For a clip they put on their own YouTube. I don’t understand at all. — Will Neff (@TheWillNeff) May 5, 2021 How long WillNeff is banned for isn’t yet clear, but both he and many of his fans don’t think it’s at all reasonable, and will hope to see it overturned sooner rather than later. Many are also arguing that this is a reasonable copyright claim, so ultimately we will have to wait to see what Twitch’s verdict is, but it doesn’t look great for WillNeff.

  • WillNE floored by TikTok stars’ insane $6.5 million Wave House mansion – Dexerto

WillNE floored by TikTok stars’ insane $6.5 million Wave House mansion WillNE YouTubeYouTuber Will ‘WillNE’ Lenney was invited to shoot his intro video as new Wave House members usually do, but was floored by the $6.5 million mansion. The Wave House is as lavish as the TikTok videos that come out of the property. Influencers situated at the mansion have been using every inch of the 13-acre lot for insane stunts or trending dances to upload to their millions of followers. Being welcome into the club is a big step forward for content creators, and WillNE was having the time of his life adjusting to every aspect of the large compound. But that didn’t stop the young YouTuber from getting access to the property and exploring the four bedroom, seven bath house that is loaded with enough room to stage giant productions for 10-second clips. The Wave House mansion isn’t just impressive inside, it has quite a few orchards, multiple gardens scattered in every cardinal direction, pools laced throughout, and a lot of shrubbery to compliment the main compound. Inside, WillNE found that it was all business among the collective of TikTokkers. The house members plan, execute, and film proper content for their channels within the house, using the settings within the perimeter as a perfect backdrop. He found a fully-furnished gym, multiple dressing rooms, decorative bathrooms with perfect for a dip in the standalone tubs, big screen TVs reaching to 100in frames, an indoor hot tub, a study, and more. There’s a lot to admire from the mansion’s build, but WillNE also got a first-hand impression of how the team uses these locations to create their viral videos. Dressing up in military uniforms, the Wave House went all-in to give him the perfect introduction as a Wave House member, complete with the eerie spiked mask that serves as an initiation of sorts for new members. While there are people inside of the house that aren’t sure of the monthly costs to live there, Yoke management foots the bill for the country home for the influencers to churn out content. It’s unclear if WillNE will be back to the Wave House to create more videos, but he seemed overall impressed at what he found after visiting the mansion.

  • WillNeff hilariously trolled by xQc fans after trying to disprove YouTube streamer myth – Dexerto

WillNeff hilariously trolled by xQc fans after trying to disprove YouTube streamer myth Twitch: xQcOW/WillNeff100 Thieves Twitch streamer WillNeff was hilariously clowned by Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s chat when he loaded up the Canadian star’s stream, while trying to prove a point about streamers’ communities. With Ludwig’s surprise switch over to YouTube from Twitch, the distinction between the two streaming platforms, and this shock move, became a huge topic of discussion among streamers. Of course, money plays a huge part. In fact, MoistCr1tikal said that Twitch typically only offers around 10% of what YouTube and Facebook offer. One thing many Twitch streamers and viewers cite, though, is how Twitch has more of a ‘community’ than YouTube — and Will set out to dispute that. During his Twitch stream on November 29, Will was explaining to his viewers that, at a certain level of popularity and viewership on Twitch, it’s tougher to truly build a ‘community’ on the platform. One example he gave was xQc, who has so many viewers that you can’t really keep up with what chat says. To prove his point, he went and typed in xQc’s chat, saying hi and asking how people were doing — and was immediately met with someone saying “f**k you” to him, perfectly on cue. Will immediately burst into laughter, saying the brilliantly-timed comment was “beautiful” and “actually hilarious.” He goes on to say that he loves xQc, but was simply trying to prove a point that the idea his community “wouldn’t survive on YouTube is ludicrous.” The ongoing discussion around YouTube vs Twitch isn’t one that will easily be settled but, all jokes and insults aside, WillNeff doesn’t think a lack of community should be a legitimate concern.

  • Will TikTok be banned on July 8? Google & Apple urged to remove app – Dexerto

Will TikTok be banned on July 8? Google & Apple urged to remove app Unsplash: Olivier BergeronFCC commissioner Brendan Carr urged Google and Apple to remove TikTok from their app stores over security concerns, but does this mean the app will be banned? Here’s everything you need to know. On June 28, FCC commissioner Brendan Carr addressed a letter to Apple and Google CEOs Tim Cook and Sundar Pichai in which he called for the removal of TikTok from their app stores, following an “alarming new report” from BuzzFeed which claimed the app “collects vast troves of sensitive data about U.S. users” which was then accessed by officials in Beijing. “It is clear that TikTok poses an unacceptable national security risk due to its extensive data being combined with Beijing’s apparently unchecked access to that data,” he wrote. “But it is also clear that TikTok’s pattern of conduct and misrepresentations regarding the unfettered access that persons in Beijing have to sensitive U.S. user data … puts it out of compliance with policies that both of your companies require every app to adhere to as a condition of remaining available on your app stores.” TikTok is not just another video app. That’s the sheep’s clothing. It harvests swaths of sensitive data that new reports show are being accessed in Beijing. I’ve called on @Apple & @Google to remove TikTok from their app stores for its pattern of surreptitious data practices. pic.twitter.com/Le01fBpNjn — Brendan Carr (@BrendanCarrFCC) June 28, 2022 Later in the letter, he stated: “If you do not remove TikTok from your app stores, please provide separate responses to me by July 8, 2022, explaining the basis for your company’s conclusion that the surreptitious access of private and sensitive U.S. user data by persons located in Beijing, coupled with TikTok’s pattern of misleading representations and conduct, does not run afoul of any of your app store policies.” Carr’s deadline of July 8 has caused some users to speculate that the app could be banned soon, but is this likely to be the case? Is TikTok getting removed? Although it is difficult to predict exactly how this situation will unfold, for the time being, it seems unlikely that TikTok will be removed from app stores. However, we will have to wait for a response from Apple and Google before we know whether they have any plans to remove it. According to Reuters, in a previous response to security concerns, TikTok conceded that China-based employees “can have access to TikTok U.S. user data subject to a series of robust cybersecurity controls and authorization approval protocols overseen by our U.S.-based security team.” However, they also said they expected “to delete U.S. users’ protected data from our own systems and fully pivot to Oracle cloud servers located in the U.S.” This isn’t the first time TikTok has been in danger of being removed. In 2020, the US attempted to ban the app with an executive order, however, the planned ban for the platform was eventually blocked by a federal judge.

  • WillNE explains what happened after seizure at Cody Ko & Noel Miller show – Dexerto

WillNE explains what happened after seizure at Cody Ko & Noel Miller show YouTube: WillNEBritish YouTuber Will ‘WillNE’ Lenney stunned fans after sharing a shocking story about the first time he met fellow creators Cody Ko and Noel Miller, explaining that he suffered a seizure while sitting in the crowd at a recent Tiny Meat Gang show. Tiny Meat Gang is the name given to Ko and Miller’s musical duo, and the pair recently brought their Global Domination tour to the UK and Ireland, before embarking down under and back to the United States. With two of YouTube’s biggest stars in town, it’s no surprise that WillNE and girlfriend Mia were invited to enjoy an evening, but as the Newcastle-born creator revealed, things didn’t go as he had planned. With the pair directed to the middle portion of the crowd, sitting directly in front of stage, it was almost impossible for Ko and Miller to miss what was going on when the YouTuber suffered from a seizure after fainting during the performance. “I saw Tiny Meat Gang the other week,” Lenney explained in his latest episode of ‘This Week on the Internet’. “I went to Cody and Noel’s show, and I had a seizure.” Using clips from the Tiny Meat Gang Podcast and Simon ‘Miniminter’ Minter’s What’s Good? show, Will gave fans a glimpse at what happened at the event in London. According to their reports, Cody originally thought that Will had been involved in a fight and that someone was pulling his head back, calling into the crowd. He quickly realized that it was a seizure, and after the YouTuber came to and recovered, he was taken backstage to relax after his traumatic ordeal. As to why it happened, WillNE explained: “I don’t think I’ve actually talked about it on this channel before, but I’ve got a condition where I faint at [the sight of] blood. How it works, basically, is if I get stuck somewhere like a cinema, or it used to be bad in a classroom, and someone starts talking or showing gory stuff, I’m gone. I can feel it building up, and then it’s lights out.” (Clip starts at 9:19 for mobile users) The 23-year-old went on to reveal that Noel Miller was talking about an operation at the moment he fainted and that before last year this issue hadn’t raised its head “in ages,” saying that he’s been ringside at boxing matches and “brutal” UFC cards and been fine, but Noel discussing medical procedures was too much for him, and out he went. To make things worse, when he came back around, Cody Ko recognized him, with the Brit joking: “What a first impression!” Thankfully, WillNE was fine and went backstage for a little bit before going home to recover. The YouTuber has taken the ordeal in good spirits, laughing it off, but it’s unlikely that Cody Ko and Noel Miller will ever forget the first time they met him.

Will there be a PewDiePie ad at the Super Bowl? PewDiePie’s ongoing battle with T-Series to hold on to the number one spot on YouTube is coming down to the wire – but could a campaign at the Super Bowl be enough to keep him in front? The Swedish YouTuber is currently only just over 40,000 subscribers ahead of the Indian production company, as both channels approach the 84 million mark. With such a slender lead, and T-Series gaining on him everyday, it is expected that PewDiePie will eventually be consigned to second place. However, there is speculation that PewDiePie’s channel will in some way be promoted at the Super Bowl on February 3, which could be the extra push he needs. Speculation began after YouTuber Mr Beast, who has been the frontrunner in helping PewDiePie stay on top, teased something potentially PewDiePie-related in a since deleted tweet. If real, it will most likely come in the form of a commercial to be aired sometime during or around the Super Bowl, which are of course enormously expensive. It could be just the push PewDiePie needs and right at the perfect time too, but whether Mr Beast, or whoever is organizing it, can pull it off, is another matter. • Will TikTok be banned in the UK? – Dexerto

Will TikTok be banned in the UK? Unsplash/TikTokTikTok has come under fire in the UK, with a threat of being banned from government devices, but will it face a national ban? Here’s what we know. Over the last few years, TikTok has become a huge part of many social media users’ daily routine and has even influenced change on a number of different platforms as well. However, despite the success, the short-form video platform has come under plenty of fire. That has been especially prevalent in the United States, as a number of states have banned the use of the app on government-linked devices and in federal buildings. This is due to cybersecurity fears as TikTok is owned by Chinese company ByteDance. There hasn’t been a nationwide ban in the States, but there have been plenty of rumors on TikTok that the app is going away. Now that the UK is also considering its security position on the app, they are sure to pop up again. Has TikTok been banned in the UK? As it stands, no, the United Kingdom has not banned the use of TikTok, nor is it forbidden to have the app on your phone and use it. Like the United States, the government is looking into the app, and could be considering a similar ban on it for government-linked devices. Cybersecurity experts have been drafted in to take a look at TikTok. As per a BBC report, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said: “We take the security of devices seriously and we look also at what our allies are doing.” Though, no action has been taken just yet. So, if you see any claims on TikTok that you can’t use the app in the UK, don’t worry, that’s not the case yet – and it remains to be seen if actually ever will be. • WillNE mocks Bobby Misner after Instagram billionaire bails on video – Dexerto

WillNE mocks Bobby Misner after Instagram billionaire bails on video Instagram: WillNE / bobbymisnerBritish YouTuber Will ‘WillNE’ Lenney took aim at Instagram celebrity Bobby Misner, after the Australian bailed on a planned trip to Saint-Tropez just 24 hours before they were set to depart. Bobby Misner went viral in early 2019, when popular YouTube commentators such as Danny Gonzalez, Jack ‘jaackmaate’ Dean and WillNE himself made videos calling him out after he released a video entitled “LIFE of a BILLIONAIRE’s SON,” which showed him flying around the world and driving expensive cars. Despite that, the Englishman, who successfully fooled British media into thinking he was entering I’m a Celebrity in 2018, decided to create a video with Misner, planning to fly himself, Stephen ‘StephenTries’ Lawson and a cameraman to Saint-Tropez to meet him, and switch lives for a day. Just 24 hours before their flight though, WillNE received a direct message from the Australian on Instagram, informing him that he wouldn’t make it to France with the group after all, and giving a pretty bizarre excuse. “At this point, I had it booked in for a month,” the 23-year-old explained, “And I had spent thousands on this big video to end the summer. I sent him my boarding pass, and straight after that, literally the next message, he canceled. ‘Can’t go back bro, apologies. My dad just found out I spent 10,000 on his card last weekend in Saint-Tropez.’” “Nice one Bob. It’s not fucking V-Bucks mate. So less than 24 hours before we were set to fly out, I had to tell everyone that the video was on the ropes.” YouTuber Memeulous called it “karma” for WillNe apparently ripping up his Yu-Gi-Oh cards, while StephenTries claimed he wasn’t surprised by the last-minute backtrack, sending a video to WillNE joking: “I knew this would happen. ‘Spend a couple days in the south of France with me and a billionaire,’ it all sounded too good to be true. “Fortunately, I’ve watched a bit of Bobby, and what he makes up for with his daddy’s money he lacks in personality, so maybe it’s a blessing!” The trio embarked on their journey anyway, deciding that if they couldn’t spend a few days with Misner in Saint-Tropez, they would try and mimic the lifestyle by recreating his Instagram photos. With some Photoshop trickery and early morning pool visits, WillNE and StephenTries were able to at least look like they lived the high life in the south of France, even if their billionaire guide deserted them at the last minute.

  • Nick Crompton and Shane Dawson Set to Reveal All on Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau in Mom’s Basement Episode With FaZe Banks and KEEMSTAR – Dexerto

Nick Crompton and Shane Dawson Set to Reveal All on Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau in Mom’s Basement Episode With FaZe Banks and KEEMSTAR @KEEMSTARThe next episode of and FaZe Banks and KEEMSTAR’s “Mom’s Basement” promises to be an interesting one as Shane Dawson and Nick Crompton will feature. Ricky Banks and Daniel Keem have produced two episodes of the talk show previously, but episode three promises to be full of controversy as Nick and Shane reveal all. Nick Crompton shocked Team 10 fans in May when he left his position as Chief Operations Officer for the company owned by Jake Paul and his appearance on Mom’s Basement could see him talk in detail about why he made that decision. Shane Dawson, meanwhile, has been making headlines after revealing what really happened behind the scenes at the disastrous “TanaCon” event that was organized by Tana Mongeau. There is no exact release date for episode three of Mom’s Basement but KEEMSTAR seems convinced that it will “break the internet” and Banks has promised that it was a “really good” episode and will be out soon. KEEMSTAR has been particularly critical of Nick Crompton in the past but supported him following his decision to leave Team 10 and distance himself from the often controversial Jake Paul. The “Drama Alert” host is sure to drag a few nuggets of information out of Crompton about his former employers during the Mom’s Basement episode, but the English entrepreneur has remained relatively tight lipped for the last two months.

  • Will KSI join WWE? YouTuber finally addresses joining Logan Paul in wrestling – Dexerto

Will KSI join WWE? YouTuber finally addresses joining Logan Paul in wrestling YouTube: Ladbible TVYouTube star KSI has finally addressed that longstanding question of whether or not he’ll join Logan Paul in the WWE, and it’s bad news for any fan who was hoping to see a Prime tag team. Influencers and content creators have always been trying to spread their wings and break out from what they’ve been most known for. Boxing and music were the first big ventures that a number of them have had success in, and there are always other avenues to explore. Logan Paul has proven that tenfold, as he’s taken a leap into the WWE and taken the world of professional wrestling by storm. The Maverick has already had a WrestleMania match, challenged for the world championship, and been given a Rookie of the Year nod by fans and pundits. He’s done it all without much help, given that his brother Jake didn’t help him accomplish his goal of becoming champion during his brief appearance. Will KSI join WWE with Logan Paul? There have also been questions about whether or not KSI – Logan’s business partner with the Prime Hydration drinks – could get involved, seeing as he is a lifelong wrestling fanatic. Well, the British YouTube star has finally answered that question, and it’s pretty bad news for anyone hoping to see him come flying off the top rope with a cross body and score a pinfall win alongside Logan. “Will KSI join WWE? No, I have no business in the WWE. Nope, nope, nope,” he said during his appearance on WIRED’s popular ‘Answer the web’s most searched questions’ series. Timestamp of 7:45 However, despite shutting down fans’ hopes, joining the WWE isn’t completely out of the question. The British YouTuber made a brief appearance at WrestleMania 39 — where he was sent crashing through the commentators’ table by Logan Paul, who performed a spectacular frog splash from the top rope. Following the match, KSI was asked if he could see himself in the WWE, and who he’d like to face in the ring if given the opportunity. The YouTube star revealed he’d like a match WWE champion Bobby Lashley — despite him being three times KSI’s size in his own words. Fortunately enough, the WWE champion is up for the challenge if nobody else is willing to step up. While it might be something that falls under a childhood dream, KSI does already have plenty on his plate with YouTube, his music, Prime, and his boxing career. The latter of which he is aiming to wrap up by the end of 2023, as he’s already planned out his next few fights. Though, it appears we can’t count on him joining the WWE to fill that void.

  • MrBeast has no plans to quit YouTube: ‘It’ll still be massive in a decade’ – Dexerto

MrBeast has no plans to quit YouTube: ‘It’ll still be massive in a decade’ YouTube: MrBeastJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has revealed he has absolutely no plans to quit making YouTube videos — or sinking piles of money into them — any time soon, and says he believes the platform will “still be massive” well into the future. MrBeast has become a name synonymous with YouTube in recent years. The cashed-up content creator has taken ‘giving’ to the next level, handing out $100k for gaming challenges, and paying fans to try his new burgers. His rise on the platform has been meteoric in recent years. Donaldson really hit the big time in 2017, and has since flown to nearly 60 million followers across two channels in the last three years. But is there an end of the YouTube road in sight for MrBeast? Well, “definitely not,” says the content creator. The internet celebrity has been uploading to YouTube for just over eight years now, and plans on being around for another ten “at least.” As long as YouTube stays big, he added, he’ll stick around making videos for his tens of millions of loyal fans. “I think YouTube will still be massive in a decade… I’m never taking my foot off the gas,” the YouTube superstar said during a Twitter Q&A on Dec. 29. “Take my current projections, then apply them over 10 years. That’s what I think I’ll hit.” It certainly makes sense too. The YouTuber has gone on the record in the past saying he loves what he does — “I want to do this until the day I die,” he said back in Nov. 2019 — and that doesn’t seem to have changed at all in 2020 either. And, as we head into the ‘20s, expect the videos to “get even crazier.” “[MrBeast] is going to continue spending large amounts of money to up the production quality,” the YouTube star’s manager Reed Dushscher promised earlier this month. “I mean, he’s tweeted… he’s got all these huge, great ideas that cost $10 million. And he’s not wrong. He does.” Read More: What is MrBeast Burger? – According to Forbes, business is good too; MrBeast earned a hefty slice of YouTube’s $211 million earnings this year, in a 30% jump from 2019. If that’s the case, why would MrBeast ever want to pull the YouTube plug?

  • Will Kakao M K-pop songs return to Spotify? Fans concerned after music is removed – Dexerto

Will Kakao M K-pop songs return to Spotify? Fans concerned after music is removed Spotify / Kakao MFans are concerned after Spotify’s contract with South Korean music distributor Kakao M came to an end, with hundreds of K-pop songs from groups like IU and Epik High disappearing from the streaming service. K-pop has become an extraordinarily popular genre over the past few years, with groups like BTS and Blackpink taking the world by storm, accumulating millions of international fans along with their Korean fans. The genre has become so popular overseas, that many of these popular artists have featured on huge mainstream talk shows, and have sold out huge arenas across the globe, proving just how much of a market there is for this popular style of music. While most of the most popular songs are available for free to stream on platforms like YouTube, naturally many fans want the experience of listening to their favorite groups and songs ad-free from music streaming services. Up until recently, they were able to do this through Spotify, which hosted many of the most popular K-pop artists’ songs so that fans could easily listen to them. However, now that Spotify’s licensing deal with huge South Korean music distributor Kakao M has come to an end, hundreds of songs from popular artists like IU and Epik High have been removed from Spotify, leaving fans and artists frustrated. Apparently a disagreement between our distributor Kakao M & Spotify has made our new album Epik High Is Here unavailable globally against our will. Speaking to music and culture website NME, a spokesperson for Spotify explained that they had been working with Kakao M for the past year and a half to extend the licensing deal with the company, but “despite our best efforts, the existing licensing deal we had with Kakao M (which covered all countries other than South Korea) has come to an end.” Read More: What is the ‘no beard’ trend on TikTok? – They went on to say: “It is our hope that this disruption will be temporary and we can resolve the situation soon.” With Spotify clearly still wanting to extend the deal and ensure that many of the missing K-pop tracks can return to the platform, it is hoped that things will be resolved sometime in the future. However, it is unclear how long exactly this process will take, so for the time being it looks like Spotify users who are fans of the music genre will have to find alternative ways to listen to their favorite groups for the time being.

  • Will Jake & Logan Paul move to MMA? Bellator president encourages YouTubers to switch – Dexerto

Will Jake & Logan Paul move to MMA? Bellator president encourages YouTubers to switch Instagram: Jake PaulBellator President Scott Coker has encouraged brothers Jake and Logan Paul to come to the mixed martial arts company, stating that it would be “a lot of fun”. Jake and Logan Paul’s incredibly successful transition from YouTube content creation to boxing has been a surprise for many fans of the sport, and of the brothers. They have been involved in a number of lucrative fights, with Logan’s recent bout with Floyd Mayweather thought to have paid the undefeated boxing legend $100m. Naturally, there is interest in the brothers from fighters and fighting companies alike. Boxing great Mike Tyson signalled his interest in a fight with Logan, and Bellator President Scott Coker has now encouraged both brothers to sign for his MMA company. Speaking on talk show The MMA Hour, Coker encouraged the brothers to join: “They’re hard workers, they’re grinding out their camps, doing what they do—both the brothers—and they’re getting better. These guys are getting better and better and better. Don’t underestimate these kids fighting ability because they’re putting in the work. My view of the whole thing is if they would ever want to come into MMA, we’d love to have them in Bellator.” Bellator is one of the largest fighting networks in the world, comparable in MMA to Dana White’s UFC. While the Paul brothers have both flirted with the idea of going to MMA fights, rather than traditional boxing, neither have made their way into a cage yet. Timestamp: 59:30 Coker continued: “As these kids continue to get better, it’s my hope that they come to MMA, that they try and test their skills in mixed martial arts. They have a wrestling background, they’re athletic, young and I think it would be a lot of fun to watch them develop.” While neither Paul brother has committed to a future in MMA, they are quickly becoming some of the hottest property in combat sports. We’ll have to wait and see if Bellator can tempt them in.

  • Will Dr Disrespect be switching to GTA RP? – Dexerto

Will Dr Disrespect be switching to GTA RP? 5GRP, RedditGrand Theft Auto RP on Twitch, but is there a chance that it could happen? The popular streamer, who Battlefield V’s Firestorm, PUBG and Call of Duty Blackout in under two hours, is still yet to venture into the world of roleplaying across Los Santos. However, there’s always a chance that – with increased demand from fans- that Doc’s hand could be forced to give it a shot. What is GTA RP? The Grand Theft Auto RP [roleplaying] craze has spread across Twitch like wildfire and many streamers have abandoned the games fans are used to seeing them play to get involved. One example of this is Summit1g, who is very much enjoying himself on the game since switching from Apex Legends and Sea of Thieves. GTA RP is a multiplayer mod that allows players to carve out their own path and story in the game, interacting with other players and NPCs. For more information, feel free to scroll through our helpful guide to the popular mod. Will Dr Disrespect scrap battle royales for GTA RP? Anyone that knows anything about Dr Disrespect will be aware that he’s very much a battle royale game man at the moment. Whether it’s playing Apex Legends, Battlefield V’s Firestorm or even Fortnite, the Doc can more often than not be seen running from circle to circle. However, while there’s still an overwhelming backing from his cult following to continue down that path, some others have been asking about moving away from the first-person shooters and explore the world of roleplay. Whether or not those questions are being met with answers that keep the hope alive, though, seems to be a different story. The Two-Time has just flat out rejected the opportunity of GTA RP in the past, but when he was asked again during a stream on April 8, he did seem to have a good think about it – as seen above. “I don’t know what you guys are talking about,” he said, addressing speculation from his chat that a new sheriff is coming to town. “I don’t even have enough memory on my computer to install that game. That game has got to be about 400 gigs [GB],” he added. What else has Dr Disrespect said about GTA RP? As popularity continues to surge for GTA RP, Dr Disrespect has been asked about giving it a go on numerous occasions – as you would expect. Yet, he couldn’t be quicker to shoot the idea down time and time again. Talking about the possibility of playing RP, Doc also revealed what type of character he would like to play and it’s possibly not the role you would expect. Verdict Whether or not we will see Dr Disrespect streaming GTA RP on his Twitch channel in the near future remains to be seen, but there’s a chance – as mentioned earlier – that demand could sway his decision. Read More: What is Permadeath in GTA RP? – It’s going to be tough for all of those ‘chubby cheek’ gamers running around Los Santos if he does arrive on the scene, though, especially if he sticks with the paperboy character idea he’s already teased.

  • Will Creator Clash 2 feature MMA? iDubbbz teases next influencer event – Dexerto

Will Creator Clash 2 feature MMA? iDubbbz teases next influencer event Creator ClashYouTube star iDubbbz has all but confirmed that a second Creator Clash is in the works — and he’s not ruling out the possibility of making it an MMA event this time around. On May 14, eighteen content creators gathered together at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida for a combat sports extravaganza that would change the landscape of influencer boxing in a huge way. The event, called ‘Creator Clash,’ is the first of its kind in that it placed an express emphasis on charity, with all proceeds benefiting organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association of America and more. That’s not all; Creator Clash also boasted a stacked fight card filled with unconventional matchups. Rather than hosting the next Bryce Hall or Jake Paul bout, organizer Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Washburn wanted to see surprising creators get in the ring and put it all on the line for a good cause. The event was a smashing success. The influencer beatdown completely sold out all 10,000 seats in the Yuengling Center and sold over 100,000 PPV streams. The fan responses were nothing short of ecstatic, and they can’t wait for more. iDubbbz is already taking names for the next Creator Clash card… but it might be a very different animal from its predecessor. iDubbbz open to possibility of mixed martial arts Creator Clash We got a chance to sit down with the YouTuber to discuss his future plans for Creator Clash and asked him if there’s a possibility we could see his next event switch out the boxing gloves for shin guards in an MMA-centric showdown. iDubbbz says that he’s open to the possibility of a mixed martial arts competition… but the many intricacies of the sport might be a bit more than beginner influencers can chew. “It’s not out of the question,” he answered. “I think what I’ve learned is there’s a lot of intricacies to learn in the sport of boxing. You could go so high in skill level, and MMA is just like another added layer of complexity.” “I don’t know how feasible it is, because it’s all gonna be super amateurish. I don’t know how it would go in something like that. Who knows? It could go in that direction. It could go in even weirder directions. We’re trying to keep the options open.” “It’s all a possibility right now. We haven’t for sure decided anything. We’re still trying to tabulate everything from this past event and see if it’s something worth doing. It’s one of those things where we hesitate to commit to it. We really just sort of wanted to do this thing one and done. The initial goal was to just fight RiceGum, get a fight out there, and be done with it.” While it’s unclear what the next Creator Clash will hold, it’s certainly piqued the interest of just about every influencer in the space, with names like Ludwig, Mizkif, and Valkyrae expressing a desire to start boxing — and it’s all thanks to iDubbbz’s ambitious vision for an event unlike any other before it.

  • Will Dr Disrespect actually stream an IRL base jump for his Twitch return? – Dexerto

Will Dr Disrespect actually stream an IRL base jump for his Twitch return? YouTube: DrDisrespectPopular Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect has officially announced his return to Twitch, and some fans think he could be hinting at another IRL stream, possibly including a base jump, as part of his triumphant return. The Doc has been missing on Twitch since June 11, when he entered the men’s bathroom at E3 2019 on a number of occasions while taking part in an IRL broadcast from the gaming convention. The leader of the Champions Club had his Twitch channel banned, and ever since that fateful day fans have been pining for the return of their favorite streamer to the platform. Thankfully for those who miss “The Two-Time,” Dr Disrespect uploaded a teaser to Twitter on June 27, revealing that he intended to return on July 8, appearing to make a call to Dan the Body to tell him that he was base jumping off of the Empire State Building in New York City. With Dan the Body repeating The Doc’s apparent actions, many believe that it may have been a hint that he plans to perform some sort of base jump on his return to streaming, and that he got in contact with Dan the Body, who is the real-life security guard for band Avenged Sevenfold, because he intends to do another IRL broadcast on his first day back. This would make sense, as Dan the Body’s first appearance was as part of Dr Disrespect’s E3 stream, and was never part of his regular gaming streams, so the fact that The Doc was getting in contact with him could be a major hint. Fans of the Twitch personality were quick to speculate on the possibility, with one stating that it would make The Doc “The two-time IRL streamer,” while another commented that they enjoyed his “deadpan persona,” and that he was “built for IRL streaming.” While Doc’s ban has officially expired, fans will have to wait another full week before they can hop back in and enjoy The Doc, with July 8 his scheduled return to the platform.

  • Will Conor McGregor fight Jake Paul? Joe Rogan teases “warm-up” fight before UFC return – Dexerto

Will Conor McGregor fight Jake Paul? Joe Rogan teases “warm-up” fight before UFC return Instagram/thenotoriousmma/jakepaul/youtube/JREPodcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan is suggesting Conor McGregor take a “warm-up” fight before jumping back into the octagon against a ranked opponent as Jake Paul continues to call out the Irishman. YouTuber Jake Paul has an undefeated 5-0 record in boxing and in his last fight, knocked out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. With The Problem Child itching to secure a fight against McGregor in either a boxing ring or in MMA, it now seems like Joe Rogan would be a fan of such a matchup. In an appearance on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, Rogan made the case for McGregor to take a fight against someone a bit less than championship material in his UFC return. Joe Rogan encourages Conor McGregor to take easy UFC fight When asked about Conor McGregor returning to the UFC after suffering an injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Rogan referenced how boxers have tune-up fights. “I think there’s a reason they’ve been using tune-up fights forever. Astute managers, they know you have to knock the dust off and you’ll be better in the next performance,” Rogan said. “To jump right into a Dustin Poirier or a Michael Chandler, I think what Conor needs to do is what Conor wants to do.” According to Rogan, if McGregor thinks he could beat Kamaru Usman and become a three-division champion, he should, but if he was Conor’s manager, he’d suggest a “warm-up fight” like he had against Donald Cerrone. (segment begins at 1:22:50 for mobile users) “If Conor wants the most chance of success, I’d say fight a guy who is a little below championship level, maybe a guy on the come-up, but it’s still a competitive fight. Give him a test,” Rogan explained. “Don’t put him in there right away with Usman, but if you’re a guy who wants to make the most amount of money, fight Usman.” Given how Jake Paul has been pushing for a fight against McGregor, it’s possible that a bout between the two could be exactly what The Notorious needs, given his MMA experience. So far, it’s not known who Paul will be fighting next, but he plans on making a return to the ring in August. Of course, if he could secure a fight against McGregor, all plans could completely change as Conor has been Jake’s top opponent for a long time now.

  • Will a KSI vs Jake Paul boxing fight happen? – Dexerto

Will a KSI vs Jake Paul boxing fight happen? Instagram: KSI/JakePaulPopular YouTubers JJ ‘KSI’ Olatunji and Jake Paul have been hinting at a potential clash inside the boxing ring, but will it happen? Here’s what we know so far. YouTube boxing has come on leaps and bounds ever since KSI decided to step into the ring with his then-rival Joe Weller back in 2016. Since then, the British YouTuber has been at the forefront of the crossover between content creators and the Sweet Science. He’s fought Logan Paul twice – once as an amateur and another as a fully-fledged professional – drawing in millions from ticket sales and pay-per-view buys across both bouts. Yet, he now looks to be on a collision course with Logan’s brother Jake after he managed to style his way to a first-round knockout victory over AnEsonGib in Miami, Florida. Even though the pair haven’t come to blows yet, they have been intertwined during their respective boxing bouts. Jake initially fought KSI’s brother Deji before becoming Logan’s hype man for the second bout. After KSI took down Logan, Jake has seemingly been hell-bent on taking revenge. He’s talked a few times about getting into the ring with JJ and, prior to defeating Gib, the Paul brothers claimed that he has to do everything possible to beat KSI – simply to put some pride back on the family name. Would that ever be possible though? Well, KSI laid down the gauntlet that he would fight Jake just so long as he managed to beat Gib – so, the American has already held up his side of the bargain. KSI and Jake Paul square off It also seems as if it could be coming together, with Jake and KSI squaring off following his win over Gib – with the pair having to be held back form each other after the Paul brother claimed he would be the “A Side” on any fight, the honor that usually goes to the bigger name. Of course, as of now, that’s all bluster and bravado seeing as there hasn’t been any talk about where a fight would be held or when it would even take place. Does this confirm @KSIOlajidebt and @jakepaul is next? pic.twitter.com/DxUizXgKNX — Dexerto (@Dexerto) January 31, 2020 Where could KSI vs Jake Paul happen? In his three boxing fights, KSI has split his bouts between the UK and America, fighting once in Manchester, another in London, and a further one in Los Angeles. As for Jake, he has fought in both London and Miami. Now, if they do decide to square off, it’ll more than likely come via a Matchroom Boxing event – which, again, split time between the UK and USA. In the immediate future, they have events lined up for Frisco and Manchester but they are both filled out and would come too soon for Jake and KSI. There would have to be some consideration about the audience, too, taking into consideration what would be best to maximize viewers, ticket sales, as well as pay-per-view buys. That could very well be on the east coast of the USA – tossing up classic boxing towns like New York, Philadelphia, or even slightly more midwest with Chicago. Seeing the waves that the pair have made in getting YouTubers into professional boxing, it’s probably best to not doubt them and to just wait and see what comes next in terms of actually fighting. Who knows, we could have another KSI vs Paul fight on our hands by the time the summer of 2020 rolls around, or we could be waiting for over a year as we did with KSI vs Logan.

  • Will Asmongold ever leave Twitch for YouTube? “How many million?” – Dexerto

Will Asmongold ever leave Twitch for YouTube? “How many million?” YouTube: Asmongold, DexertoSome of Twitch’s biggest names have jumped ship to YouTube during 2022, but would Asmongold consider following suit? We spoke to the streamer about the prospect of moving, and if YouTube could be real competition for Twitch. 2022 has been quite the year for YouTube Gaming. Having acquired Twitch titans DrLupo, TimTheTatman, and Ludwig, the platform seems intent on knocking Amazon’s streaming service off of its throne. While fellow streaming star, Asmongold, has admitted that prominent streamers switching to YouTube is a “real shakeup,” the MMO star seems pretty content streaming on either his main Twitch channel or second channel, zackrawrr. Discussing the YouTube/Twitch saga in an interview with Dexerto, Asmon explains where it’s all gone right for YouTube and, in turn, whether or not he’s ever been tempted to join his colleagues. Asmongold on YouTube/Twitch debate Casting his mind back to the days of Mixer, Asmon draws parallels between today’s streaming platforms and the platforms of old. “The mistake Mixer made is that they only brought shroud and Ninja onto the platform, and I think YouTube is actually making a much better inroad into creating a streaming community. This is one of the weaknesses that Mixer had. “If you look at the streaming ecosystem as a wildlife ecosystem, you can’t just transplant the biggest tree inside of a forest into a random desert and expect the tree to be able to grow. You need the shrubs, you need the birds, you need the squirrels, you need the grass, you need the roots, you need the fungus – you need everything in order for that existence to happen. What Mixer did is they took two gigantic trees. “It took Ninja and it took shroud and it transplanted them over to Mixer, and because they didn’t have an ecosystem around them to refill the viewership they would inevitably lose due to the churn of people watching streams and then choosing not to, what happens is that the channel slowly declines and the platform loses relevancy, and it creates a public conception that moving over to the platform is unhealthy for your stream.” Comparing the site to YouTube, he notes that “YouTube has brought over Dr Disrespect – Doc plays with Tim[TheTatman], Tim plays with DrLupo, and DrLupo plays with CouRage, then CouRage plays with Doc. All four of them play together, and what that creates is cross-pollination. It creates a way for those creators to refill each others’ audiences, and to collaborate and create content together.” Recalling a series of statistics that claim “for every view Twitch gets YouTube gets 200,” he notes that Twitch’s relevancy is dependent on its community. “The community for Twitch is something that is very special in very good (and very bad) ways. You see so many people that want to stay on Twitch because of the emotes, the culture, and the community. As soon as YouTube is able to capture that and really build that community on their website instead, that’s when you’ll really see a competition.” Concluding that “whenever I would really say that YouTube would be a legitimate competitor for Twitch is when people move over to the platform without a one million dollar contract.” Will Asmongold leave Twitch for YouTube? Of course, that immediately begs the question: will Asmongold ever swap to YouTube? “How many million?” he laughs, before noting that “hey, y’know, we’ll see what happens! I get more views on YouTube than I do on Twitch, honestly.” “Would I be opposed to moving over to YouTube completely?” he asks. “No, absolutely not. I like YouTube a lot, I’ve uploaded on YouTube since 2008 – I was still in high school. I’ve always loved YouTube, and I love Twitch too, I like Twitch in a lot of ways. I do think there are elements of the Twitch community that are reductive, and are more reluctant to change, and do actively suppress growth on the platform. “Would I go over to YouTube tomorrow or something? No, probably not. But it’s something I’d have to really think about a lot. It’s not something I’m really soliciting, that much, but I always leave myself open for options.” Whether or not we’ll see AsmonTube in the future remains a mystery, but clearly the streamer believes that the platform is on the rise and looking to conquer 2022 just as it did 2021.

In a viral video making rounds on social media, multiple women can be seen fighting on beaches in Florida in a bikini beatdown that has to be seen to be believed. We’ve seen Spring Break shenanigans take over the net before, with wrestling matches breaking out between party goers, but nothing quite like this. The footage, posted to the X account FightMate and then CatchUpFeed has gone viral, showing the moment multiple women collided in an intense melee. Intense Florida beach brawl goes viral The fight began with two women, one black-haired and one pink-haired, rushing at another with fists raised. It wasn’t long before strangers tried to restrain the fighters, but there weren’t enough of them, allowing one of the combatants to fire away shot after shot, forcing one of the mediators to let go and keep the battle waging. While all this was going on, a group of spectators showed up to watch the fight unfold and encircled the girls in a wall of death as they fought on, whipping off opponents’ wigs in the process. Eventually, “referees” tried to break up the scramble once more, only for the brawl to continue with the girls now out of the circle and continuing to throw haymakers. Unfortunately, the video ends before a clear winner can be determined. “Spring Break in Florida is Wild,” FightMate captioned the video, which has since amassed over 750K views via CatchUpFeed. “Why are they fighting anyway? It’s supposed to be a vacation,” one viewer asked. “Grand Theft Auto 6 teaser,” another joked, referencing the upcoming game. There’s currently no word on if any of the fighters were charged or what started the brawl, but it’s unlikely this will be the last bash on the beach we see during Spring Break season.

  • Wild TikTok planets filter is out of this world – Dexerto

Wild TikTok planets filter is out of this world TikTokLately, TikTok users have taken to showcasing a planet filter with effects for the likes of Jupiter and it’s absolutely out of this world. TikTok already features a wide range of incredible filters and effects that users can rely on to enhance their videos. Some of the more interesting filters add things like color overlays, time warp scans, shimmery effects, and green screen effects. But new and exciting additions regularly enter the mix, opening the door for creators to experiment with even more editing options. And one filter, in particular, managed to bring the vast expanse of space to TikTok. TikTok users are wowed by the new planet filter TikToker ty_lyfe recently shared a video of the planet filter in action and it’s pretty impressive. The clip begins right before the user opens their backdoor. As soon as the door opens, viewers are met with a star-filled sky and the planet Jupiter spinning towards the screen. Asteroids and the Earth’s moon hover nearby as well, further amplifying the effects of the filter. Ty_lyfe is not a fan of the filter, saying the design “f**cked [them] up” because it “looks so real.” Countless other TikTokers seem to be enjoying it, however. Notably, videos featuring TikTok’s planet filter have garnered nearly 14 million views at the time of writing. Some creators, such as itsofficialken consider it the platform’s “best filter” to date. But ty_lyfe isn’t alone in finding the filter a little too scary for their liking. Beawilderment‘s planet filter video, which features a “HELP” caption, shows them closing a window curtain to hide the effect, only for Jupiter to have drawn even closer once the curtain is pulled back again. Suffice it to say, TikTokers will more than likely get a lot of mileage out of the platform’s space-centric filter.

  • Wild “poopgate” story about Victoria’s Secret model goes viral – but is it real? – Dexerto

Wild “poopgate” story about Victoria’s Secret model goes viral – but is it real? TikTok: victoriassecret, paretayA Victoria’s Secret model was outed on TikTok for keeping used tampons and more in her suitcase — but is it true? Her ex-roomie seems to think so. The ex-roommate of a Victoria’s Secret model took to TikTok to allege that the model had some fairly disturbing habits. Though Taylor, the roommate, did not disclose the name of the model, viewers of her viral TikTok have ideas of who it could be, resulting in “poopgate” trending on the app. However, there are also viewers debating whether or not Taylor’s story is real. Though she goes into full detail about living with the model, could it be true? Victoria’s Secret model allegedly kept used tampons in a suitcase Taylor began explaining in her TikTok, “I lived with a Victoria’s Secret model who had a secret — and I kept it for 10 years.” Taylor went on to say that she, the model, and a group of other models lived together in an NYC apartment when she made volatile discoveries about the unnamed model. After the model took Taylor’s shirt and lied about stealing it while she was wearing it, Taylor took it upon herself to go through the model’s belongings. Not only did she find stolen items from their other roommates, but she also found used tampons, dirty napkins, and worst of all, poop-stained toilet paper. Taylor and her roomies then took the suitcase full of trash and placed it outside and noticed an instant relief of odor. Having dirty tissues in her suitcase wasn’t all that Taylor disclosed about the model, though. She also claimed she is a “kleptomaniac with personality disorder.” Viewers of Taylor’s viral “poopgate” claims have questioned the validity, saying that Taylor has also been known to lie in other videos of hers. However, many others couldn’t deny the details, as they revealed who they thought the model could be. Some guessed Devon Windsor, while others mentioned Taylor Hill. Though the name of the Victoria’s Secret model is still in question, Taylor did note that they are popular on TikTok and are still relevant in the modeling industry.

Wild police footage shows cop rushing to save Jake Paul from Floyd Mayweather’s entourage YouTube: Jake PaulNew police footage has emerged of Jake Paul being escorted to safety from Floyd Mayweather following a fierce verbal spat. Mayweather and Paul have history, with Jake’s brother Logan fighting Floyd last year. The two have had some back and forth since with Floyd even going on record saying that he would consider fighting Jake if it wasn’t for their differing weight classes. This culminated in a verbal clash last month where Jake accused Mayweather and his entourage of “50 dudes,” of targeting him outside of the Miami-Dade Arena. At the time we only got Floyd’s viewpoint but new revealing police footage tells a different story. Police prevented a brawl from breaking out The Police footage obtained by TMZ shows Jake Paul’s perspective of the Floyd Mayweather confrontation. After Jake fled the scene several of the men accompanying Mayweather chased after him. In response, multiple police officers tried to block off the men whilst repeatedly yelling “Get back!” Some of the men pushed past the officer in pursuit of Paul but one cop ran ahead of them to safely escort Jake to the closest building. The Officer then blocked off the entrance and informed the other nearby officers that the social media star was the “reason for the commotion.” While seemingly dangerous, the truth of the matter is that the altercation was just a PR Stunt, as confirmed by Jake speaking with Wade Plem. Both Paul and Floyd Mayweather had spoken beforehand about setting up the confrontation to create a viral clip. Even so, none of the involved officers would have been aware of this. The cop that recorded the footage put himself between Paul and the large group of men believing that the situation could have escalated. Jake Paul has since moved on from the alteration and is now looking ahead to his upcoming fight with Nate Diaz.

WilburSoot removes Ghostbur from Minecraft DSMP On August 3, TommyInnit joined Wilbur for one final Minecraft livestream playing as their characters in DSMP. As usual, the two got into various small spats throughout the livestream as they continued developing their new island. Until Wilbur announced that it was time for him to leave and he began to row away in a boat across the water. Although he initially refused to tell Tommy where he was going, he finally admitted that he was actually from Utah USA, much to his friend’s amazement, and that he was returning to his homeland. To make it all the more official, Wilbur included a wholesome tribute to the beloved character with a clip showing him in the middle of Utah cosplaying as the Minecraft avatar. The livestream went down brilliantly among Wilbur’s fans. As one fan said: “Wilbur Soot prepping us for months to have something so horrible happen to both Revivedbur and Ghostbur only to make Ghostbur happy and send Revivebur into real world Utah is my favorite thing ever.” It’s not entirely clear what’s next for Wilbur and DSMP, what with him having enjoyed huge success as a musician. However, knowing the drama that goes on in the server, it wouldn’t be surprising if Wilbur makes a shock return once again.

Wild Christmas tree hack adds extra sparkle to hanging ornaments TikTok: sunshinethedoggoA TikToker has shared her Christmas tree hack, teaching others how to hang their ornaments for as much sparkle as possible this holiday season. Christmas is officially one month away and with the countdown started, many have begun to bring out decorations and prepare for the festive season. When it comes to setting up your Christmas tree, there are many ways to decorate; some prefer a simplistic look, while others go all out with wild colors, tinsel, and lights. Luckily, for those looking for that extra wow factor, one TikToker is teaching others a new way to add ornaments to their trees for maximum sparkle. Going by ‘sunshinethedoggo’ online, the account stepped away from its usual content surrounding a Chow chow and shar-pei mix dog to share the Christmas tree hack; “Part of the joy in Christmas is seeing all my ornaments again!” “Don’t hang your ornaments like this,” the account wrote, showing the most common way of hanging an ornament by itself on the tree. Instead, they recommended using a pipe cleaner to string tie ornaments together, making a twinkling cluster of bulbs. The clusters are then fastened to the tree, sprucing up its sparkle to a whole new level, the TikToker captioning the video, “Ornament clusters are the way to go.” One viewer stoked to discover this new hack took to the comments, writing, “Brilliant! I have a leftover craft bag of pipe cleaners [and] I was trying to figure out how to utilize them. Martha Stewart who?? Thank you for this!” “Looks awesome,” another said. A third, however, was less impressed by the added sparkle, proving the subjectivity involved in decorating your Christmas tree, “So ugly.” Excited for the holiday season? Staying faithful in a relationship may be a hard task for some, while others, not so much. However, for one wife, it’s a 50/50 chance, as she explained that she’d have to assess the situation with another man before making her decision. TikTok has since reacted to the wife’s surprising reason for possibly cheating on her husband, saying that she has “no self-control.” Wife says everyone is “capable of infidelity” TikTok mom Nika Diwa was enjoying a family outing by the pool when her husband asked her, “Could you ever cheat on me?” Diwa sternly responded, “Absolutely.” She then continued to explain her reasoning, “It’s why I don’t make dumb decisions, like, talking to guys one on one or hanging out in, like, compromising situations.” Diwa added, “I’m a human being and you’re a human being and I’m sorry babe, I don’t know if this is hard for you to hear, but everybody is absolutely capable of infidelity.” As Diwa’s husband fake cried in the background, she continued, “That’s why you’re never going to see me in a situation. If people think I might be too strict, I don’t care — because I’m not taking that chance.” She ended the viral TikTok video reiterating that although everyone is capable of cheating, she wouldn’t really be cheating on her husband. Those who heard her reasoning took to the comments to say how much they disagreed with her, saying, “I could be in any situation and not cheat.” “Let’s not devalue self-control and commitment! Saying ‘absolutely’ you’ll cheat because you’re in a ‘tempting’ situation is wild,” someone else responded. One viewer even called Diwa’s answer “scary”. The user wrote, “It’s not a good answer. If your loyalty is based on circumstances, you have a lot of work to do.” It’s unknown how long Diwa and her husband have been married, however, they do have at least one child together, as Diwa was seen holding their newborn during the video.

  • Wig-wearing man arrested for using NES Zapper gun to rob store – Dexerto

Wig-wearing man arrested for using NES Zapper gun to rob store York County Sheriff’s Office/NintendoPolice have arrested a wild gunman for robbing a store by using an NES Zapper. When it comes to video game accessories, there may be none more iconic than the NES Zapper – a special controller that launched alongside the Nintendo console. The faux firearm is a relic of the past, commonly used for shooting at ducks and clay pigeons in the classic 1984 light gun game Duck Hunt. However, one man decided to use the accessory in a nefarious manner. The man, a possible fan of The Rolling Stones, painted the Zapper black and proceeded to rob the Sharon Kwik Stop. Man arrested for robbing store with NES Zapper According to authorities, on Tuesday, 25-year-old David Joseph Dalesandro walked into the shop wearing a wig and mask. He then showed a clerk the black Zapper, pretending it was a real gun and demanded money from the register. Dalesandro then stole $300 from the business, but couldn’t get far, as authorities were able to find the wild gunman a bit further down the street and promptly arrested him at a Dollar General. The Zapper doesn’t exactly resemble an actual gun, especially with its orange trigger, but it’s easy to see why, in a pinch, one can easily mistake it for a real firearm. The accessory’s legacy has spawned quite a few knockoffs over the years, but none were able to become quite as iconic as the Duck Hunt gun. While Duck Hunt never got a sequel, the character ended up being a surprise character in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS – one of the fighting game’s more bizarre members of its roster.

  • Why YouTube “wanna be friends?” comments aren’t as friendly as they seem – Dexerto

Why YouTube “wanna be friends?” comments aren’t as friendly as they seem YouTubeYouTubers are increasingly concerned about a channel that is potentially putting other accounts at risk by simply interacting with a friendly comment: “wanna be friends?” Spotlighting the issue was YouTuber ‘Evanz11’ who noticed a recurring theme across videos on the platform who had a relatively smaller reach or audience. Without fail, they would find the same comment, or closely structured ones, on uploads made by an account called ‘logan.’ “Thousands of people have lost their entire channels from this one, innocent comment,” Evanz said. “And it’s one of the largest security breaches I’ve seen YouTube go through.” The prevailing theory suggests that the person behind logan, as well as suspicious alternate names such as ‘Triby’ or ‘Sounds,’ just to name a few, figured out a way to somehow gain enough access to other people’s YouTube accounts to simulate organic channel growth. “If you look at his first few videos, you’ll see his Comments [section is] just nothing,” Evanz explained. “Things people would literally never comment… Yeah, the real way he grew his channel so large was using bots. They’re all bots, but bots using real accounts. Your accounts.” It is unknown how logan/Triby is seemingly gaining access to accounts that simply interact with the “wanna be friends” comments on other people’s videos. Mutahar Anasnote from the ‘SomeOrdinaryGamers’ channel looked into the suspicious activity and believes the problem is a bit more nuanced. According to Mutahar, the YouTube breach could be tied to the OAuth token system that lets accounts from different services interact and manipulate each other with prior user consent. When linking accounts, apps will ask for permission to run the ‘tokens’ that it needs to perform its duties. There are some tokens, however, that ask for the ability to see, edit, or delete YouTube videos, ratings, comments, and captions in order to perform its functions. While apps that ask for these permissions are not inherently malicious or bad, Mutahar believes logan found an exploit to use this token, or one like it, for the purposes of gaining surface-level access to other accounts. For the time being, YouTubers are self-monitoring and unlinking their accounts to any third-party app that asks for these kinds of permissions as more evidence suggests that one of those services might have been compromised.

While speaking on generational trauma, she explained “it’s not oppression when you shackle your own feet.” Savannah also slammed My Name Is Earl star Alyssa Milano for her stance on Black Lives Matter. “You don’t have to be a white supremacist,” she said. “You can do better.” Why was Savannah banned from TikTok? Watching one of BTS’ videos, Ethan and Hila discussed the genre, and Ethan was very clear in saying that he just doesn’t understand the appeal. “I don’t get the BTS thing,” he said. “I’m just going to say it right now, I don’t like K-pop. I hate K-pop. I don’t get BTS. How did this become a thing in Western culture, where all these grown men and little girls are jerking off to K-pop boys? It’s like a little fetish.” He then asked ‘Ian the Intern’ for his thoughts, who said he doesn’t like it but “gets why people do,” with Ethan reiterating his point saying how “weird” K-pop fans are on Twitter before joking that someone will probably try to “assassinate” him for what he’s said. So #h3h3isoverparty is trending because Kpop fans are trying to cancel him. This is what he said pic.twitter.com/TxEIc6LbmV — Kavos (@KavosYT) December 9, 2019 As such, the K-pop fans responded in kind on Twitter, getting the hashtag “#h3h3isoverparty” trending in a bid to get him ‘canceled’. Ethan didn’t seem too bothered by the backlash, celebrating trending on Twitter and continuing to make digs at the community as the abuse rained down on him. He even tweeted out to reiterate the point he made, saying: “My message to K-pop fans: Lighten up nerds, if you can’t handle your hobby being made fun of a little bit then you are really are just a bunch of little girls jerking off to K-pop boys.” My message to K-pop fans: Lighten up nerds, it you can’t handle your hobby being made fun of a little bit then you are really are just a bunch of little girls jerking off to kpop boys. — Ethan Klein (@h3h3productions) December 9, 2019 Ethan doesn’t seem too bothered by the drama, basking in the glory of his name trending on the social media platform and tweeting the hashtag to keep it going. K-pop fans are among some of the most committed in the world and will defend their idols to their last breath. It’s not a great idea to get on the wrong side of them, as H3H3 learned the hard way – and they may not rush to do it again.

  • Why was Adin Ross banned on Twitch? April 20 ban explained – Dexerto

Why was Adin Ross banned on Twitch? April 20 ban explained YouTube: Adin LiveStreaming star Adin Ross was hit with an indefinite ban from Twitch on April 20 for “hateful conduct” — but no specific instance was given as to why he was banned, in the first place. Adin Ross is one of the more popular streamers on Twitch. Boasting over 4 million followers, Ross is best known for streaming games like NBA 2K and GTA, as well as the occasional humorous hijinks with other broadcasters. While Ross has received several bans from the site in the past, fans were left flabbergasted when he copped an indefinite suspension on April 20. Here’s everything we know about the ban so far. Adin Ross cops indefinite Twitch ban Fans were first alerted to the ban when the StreamerBans Twitter account claimed that Ross had been banned from Twitch. ❌ Twitch Partner “”AdinRoss”” (@adinross) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/31cn8jvX5P#twitch #ban #fifthban #partner #twitchpartner 🔠 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 20, 2022 His Twitch page merely shows a message saying his channel is currently unavailable, as is the case with most bans on the site. A short while later, Ross posted and subsequently deleted a screenshot of an email he’d received from Twitch, which stated that he’d been banned due to “using hateful slurs, hate symbols, or hate group emblems without context or in a harmful manner.” Ross himself seemed confused as to why he’d been banned, as no specific instance in his stream had been given as reason for the suspension. “I got banned on Twitch, indefinitely,” Ross said. “I am not sure what I said though? I’m not sure what I did? It occurred on stream or VOD? I don’t know, man.” Why did twitch ban Adin Ross indefinitely? Although no reason for the April 20 ban has yet been given, some viewers are tying the suspension to an incident that took place a week prior. It was alleged that Ross had uttered a homophobic slur during a stream with fellow broadcaster YourRAGE. However, RAGE has denied these claims, saying the person on the call was a “friend from high school.” Adin Ross has been accused of saying a homophobic slur (f word) on YourRAGE’s stream while not aware he was live. Ross has not spoken out about his suspension since the 20, leaving fans awaiting answers. Additionally, Twitch does not comment on individual bans.

  • Why was Dr Disrespect banned on Twitch? Everything you need to know – Dexerto

Why was Dr Disrespect banned on Twitch? Everything you need to know Dr DisrespectStreamer Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch in June 2020, with the reason behind the ban not being given by Doc until nearly four years later to the day. An ex-Twitch employee claimed that a streamer was banned from the platform for sending a minor inappropriate messages on June 21, 2024, leading many to believe Dr Disrespect was the one being referred to. The streamer would admit to this a few days later. Dr Disrespect, also known as Guy Beahm, was the self-proclaimed ‘Face of Twitch’ before being removed from the site. He was one of the most-followed streamers on the platform at the time, and he still has a huge following on YouTube. Here’s everything we know about the most high-profile and controversial ban in Twitch history, including Dr Disrespect’s response to the allegations made against him. Dr Disrespect banned from Twitch Dr Disrespect’s account suspension took place on June 26, 2020, and it was reported to be a permanent ban at the time. Soon after, Twitch sent the following statement to Dexerto: “As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community.” Outside of Twitch stating that Beahm had “acted in violation” of Community Guidelines, no explanation was given as to what he had done. This came just after the steamer signed a multi-year contract with the Amazon-owned company in March 2020 to keep him on the site for the foreseeable future. Dr Disrespect breaks silence on Twitch ban On the evening of June 27, 2020, a day after his suspension from Twitch, the streamer finally broke his silence with a statement on Twitter: “Champions Club, Twitch has not notified me on the specific reason behind their decision. Firm handshakes to all for the support during this difficult time.” Champions Club, — Dr Disrespect (@DrDisrespect) June 28, 2020 Twitch has not notified me on the specific reason behind their decision… Firm handshakes to all for the support during this difficult time. -Dr Disrespect At the time, however, he did not say how long the ban would last or if it was permanent. To this day, Twitch still hasn’t confirmed a reason. Twitch community reacts to the news As reports began to come out that alleged that the streamer’s ban from Twitch was permanent, Beahm’s close friend and collaborator Timothy ‘TimTheTatman‘ Betar reacted to the news during a live broadcast. “When I was talking to Doc, all he said was that he was talking to Twitch to figure out what happened,” he said. Reporter Slasher later updated everyone on what he knew as well. “Look: for several hours now I have been told from credible sources the reason DrDisrespect has been banned,” he wrote. “However, due to the importance and sensitivity around the subject, I have refrained from going on it. I don’t feel comfortable with it currently.” His reluctance to share the reason and Doc himself claiming he had been given no reason, led to Slasher’s post coming under scrutiny at the time. Twitch refunds Dr Disrespect subscriptions Hours after the Doc had been banned, viewers began to report that Twitch had refunded their subscriptions to his channel, as well as removing his emotes from the platform. Twitch have cancelled subscriptions to Dr Disrespect’s channel and are sending out refunds. His emotes are also no longer available. — Dexerto (@Dexerto) June 27, 2020 ℹ️ – https://t.co/osXf7poTTF Here’s the email sent out to all subs: pic.twitter.com/YPBkzoV7nP This was a significant indicator that his ban was in fact permanent, as temporary suspensions typically do not result in subscriptions being refunded. Mrs Assassin speaks out Dr Disrespect’s wife, known as ‘Mrs. Assassin’, spoke out through an Instagram story late on June 26, thanking fans for their “love, support, strength, and kindness.” While the post didn’t reveal anything further, it was the first time anyone had heard anything from within Doc’s camp. Mrs. Assassin has often been featured as a character during his livestreams. Doc’s last stream Social media was sent into a frenzy when footage from Beahm’s last stream was uploaded to YouTube and sparked confusion. In the clip, the streamer suddenly goes quiet and says “I appreciate everyone watching today. We’ll get through this Champions Club. I know it’s tough, life’s weird right now. We’ll get through this okay. And uh…f**k,” before abruptly ending his broadcast. (Segment starts at 7:35) Dr Disrespect moves to YouTube Dr Disrespect confirms reason behind Twitch ban On June 25, 2024, Dr Disrespect confirmed that the reason for his Twitch ban was a result of him sending DMs to a minor through Twitch whispers, and that the ban served in 2020 was a result of those actions. “Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not,” Doc claimed. “These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.” He’d go on to confirm that this is why Twitch banned him in 2020 and that he plans to return to streaming, though he hasn’t revealed when he’ll be coming back. Back in 2017, Dr Disrespect infamously broke character to reveal that he’d been unfaithful to his wife and would be taking time off. It’s not clear yet if the two incidents are related. Midnight Society, the game studio Dr Disrespect co-founded, chose to cut ties with him over this information. Robert Bowling, one of the founders, called out the Doc directly in the wake of this information being made public. “If you inappropriately message a minor. I can not work with you. Period. I promised to only act on facts, and I did.” Streamers who were close with Dr Disrespect like NICKMERCS and TimTheTatMan have also spoken out against Beahm’s actions in their own response videos. Nick labelled his actions “inexcusable and unacceptable,” while Tim said he “could not support” Dr Disrespect if he sent those messages knowing he was talking to a minor. Dr Disrespect accuses Twitch staff of scheming to ban him On September 6, 2024, Dr Disrespect went live for the first time in two months to address the situation. In his return stream, he accused former Twitch employees of colluding to get him removed from the platform, specifically calling out Cody Conners and his previous partner manager. “Apparently, Twitch’s disgruntled employees didn’t feel the need to abide by those obligations,” he said. “Cody Conners, ex-Twitch employee, wasn’t even involved in leaking Twitch’s reported reason. Years later. Cody, why do this? What was the point? This was settled professionally. And you, knowing how black and white the internet is, you decided, you f*king rat, you reported the f*king reason Twitch banned me.” The streamer went on to claim that his partner manager had allegedly urged the individual he’d messaged to report their conversation to Twitch, and supposedly escalated the matter to Twitch’s Law Enforcement Response team despite their refusal. According to the Doc, his partner manager “cherry-picked” out-of-context excerpts from their Whispers and shared them with an LER Director, didn’t have access to the files at that time, as they were on vacation during the ordeal. Doc also denied having sent sexual messages to the person in question, instead claiming their conversation was merely “banter” and jokes taken out of context. Additionally, he claimed that a judge in the case did not find the messages to be “illegal.” Although he claimed that he had “more to disclose,” he said he would no longer address the situation and would reapply for partnership with YouTube on September 25. Until that time, he will stream on the platform as normal. Streamers remain unmoved by Dr Disrespect’s Twitch tirade It wasn’t long before other streamers weighed in with their reactions to Dr Disrespect’s story… and many of them weren’t convinced by what he had to say. Names like Adin Ross, for instance, doubled down and called the streamer a “f*cking pedophile,” while xQc called into question the Doc’s explanation of events. “Twitch banned one of their biggest money cows they could ever get, one of their biggest icons, money-making machines, the poster boy for their company – banned him outright for ‘not’ sexting a ‘not’ minor. Gotcha,” he said. Asmongold, however, believes a piece of the story is “missing,” and hasn’t doled out a judgement until he learns why Twitch paid out the rest of Doc’s contract. “There is a missing piece of this that I can’t see, but I know that it’s there,” he mused. “And the missing piece is why Twitch paid him out. That’s the part, like if I knew why that was, then everything else, I think, could fit together.” Four years after the initial ban was served, the details behind Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban were finally revealed from his perspective. However, Twitch have yet to address the ban beyond the court case that got settled in 2022.

  • Why TikTok’s viral Nutmeg Challenge is actually dangerous – Dexerto

Why TikTok’s viral Nutmeg Challenge is actually dangerous Freepik.com / TikTokAs one of the net’s most popular video platforms, TikTok boasts a huge userbase and a slew of viral dance challenges — but some of these challenges can be dangerous for unsuspecting participants. Although TikTok is most famous for its dance videos, which users try to recreate in all manner of ways to capitalize off of ever-emerging trends, some challenges on the app are tasking creators with more than busting a move. In fact, a recently-emerging trend on the application is raising some eyebrows, popularly dubbed the “Nutmeg Challenge.” This trend tasks users with mixing the spice in water, generally 3-4 tablespoons, and has been reported by TikTokkers to have “trippy” effects, with many users reporting hallucinations and the feeling of being “high.” As it turns out, copious amounts of nutmeg can induce these symptoms, causing “tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, agitation, and hallucinations,” as reported by a study from The Netherlands Journal of Medicine. Despite having been a popular drug choice from as far back as the Crusades and even the 70’s hippie movement, consuming too much of the spice can be dangerous, with reports stating that the chemical myristicin found in nutmeg can even cause organ failure. Nutmeg overdose has also been linked to death when taken with other drug combinations, with just 2 teaspoons of the spice being enough to induce myristicin’s hallucinogenic effects, as reported by studies from the Illinois Poison Center. This isn’t the first dangerous trend to have made a home for itself on TikTok, either, with “the outlet challenge” also gaining popularity in the past, requiring users to drop quarters onto exposed prongs of a charger halfway plugged into a wall outlet. With other internet-wide challenges also taking hold of the public consciousness, like the Tide Pod challenge or the Birdbox Challenge, it comes as little surprise that the most recent Nutmeg Challenge has also become popular in light of current world events cooping everyone up inside. Considering its potentially deadly effects, it’s just not a good idea to “trip” on nutmeg — no matter how bored you are at home.

  • Why Trisha Paytas’ “crazy” David Dobrik claims were cut from Logan Paul podcast – Dexerto

Why Trisha Paytas’ “crazy” David Dobrik claims were cut from Logan Paul podcast YouTube: ImpaulsiveMike Majlak, one of the co-hosts of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, has admitted that a number of allegations made by Trisha Paytas during her appearance on the show had to be edited out. Trisha Paytas is a longtime creator on YouTube, uploading her first video back in 2007, and is known for her candid content in which she discusses her sex life, her personal relationships, and the issues she has with her peers on the site. Since August, the 31-year-old has been in a public spat with the ‘Vlog Squad’ and its leader David Dobrik, claiming that he “ruined her life,” after the group severed ties with her entirely in the aftermath of her break up with member Jason Nash. 600Paytas was a guest on Logan’s Impaulsive podcast, where she took shots at Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and Jake Paul, but in an episode of his “Night Shift” show, Majlak revealed that a lot of what she said about the Vlog Squad had to be cut before it was released. “We put out the Trisha Paytas episode of Impaulsive last week,” the 34-year-old stated. “I’ll be honest, we had to cut a lot of shit out of that one. “There was a lot of back-and-forth with her ex-team, the Vlog Squad, that, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut. I think we try really hard to keep everything in these episodes, but when there are any kinds of crazy allegations or stuff that we don’t see there being evidence to support, we cut that stuff out, and this was one of those episodes.” Majlak refrained from revealing what allegations and claims Paytas made during her appearance on the podcast, but the fact that they couldn’t be backed up to the hosts was enough to convince them that they shouldn’t be broadcast on their platform. In a video uploaded to her channel, Paytas states that she discussed her relationship with Nash and her overall problems with the group, but refrained from going into details about what specifically was cut from the final version of the video. Logan Paul himself has refrained from commenting publically on the allegations that were cut from Paytas’ appearance on his Impaulsive podcast. The Vlog Squad are one of the most popular content creation groups on the platform, fronted by David Dobrik and made up of a number of popular YouTubers and former Viners like Scotty Sire, Gabbie Hanna, Josh Pec, Jason Nash, and Corinna Kopf. The group often appear in each other’s videos, creating vlogs, podcasts, and comedy skits across the site. Dobrik has amassed over 13 million subscribers, with his videos regularly hitting 10 million views, making him one of the largest stars on the Google-owned platform in 2019.

  • Why TikTok’s Blackout challenge is so dangerous and needs to be stopped – Dexerto

Why TikTok’s Blackout challenge is so dangerous and needs to be stopped PixabayWhile TikTok is normally a hub for fun trends and challenges that people can participate in globally, the “blackout challenge” is one that has done far more harm than good. This damaging trend has left Joshua Haileyesus, a 12-year-old boy from Colorado, “brain-dead” after he tied a shoelace around his neck when attempting the challenge on March 22 and lost consciousness. Joshua is in critical condition in hospital and the family has created a GoFundMe to pay for his medical bills. This isn’t the first time the trend has had serious consequences. In January, a 9-year-old boy’s death in Trinidad was linked to the TikTok challenge. In February, it was linked to the death of a 10-year-old girl in Italy, which prompted the Italian government to block national access to the app unless users were able to prove their age. When the incident in February occurred, TikTok said it was helping authorities in the probe over possible “incitement to suicide.” However, they also said they were unable to identify any content that would have encouraged the girl to participate in a challenge of this kind. What is the blackout challenge? This type of challenge has existed online for years, and frequently changes face on TikTok. It has previously been known as the “Passout Challenge”, “The Game of Choking”, “Speed Dreaming” or “The Fainting Game.” This version of the trend, “the blackout challenge,” is no different. In this format, it encourages TikTok users to film strangling or choke themselves with household objects until they “blackout.” As an app that is attractive to very young and impressionable kids looking for entertainment while bored in a global health crisis, it is particularly dangerous. While TikTok has an age limit of 13-years-old, it hasn’t stopped children from getting involved. TikTok has since made efforts to curb the damages. When searching for “blackout challenge” on the app in the UK, users are now met with no results and a short paragraph that says “This phrase may be associated with behavior or content that violates our guidelines. Promoting a safe and positive experience is TikTok’s top priority.” Meanwhile, the page which displays the original hashtag says “Performance, imitation, or encouragement of dangerous amateur stunts and risky behavior can lead to serious injury or death, is not permitted on TikTok.”

  • Why TikTok is in meltdown over a woman’s $300 Balloon mosaic – Dexerto

Why TikTok is in meltdown over a woman’s $300 Balloon mosaic Instagram: that_balloon_girl/ TikTok: that_balloon_girlTikTokers are bursting with outrage after a balloon artist claimed she would charge $300 for a custom made balloon mosaic. The video and many responses to it are now going viral all across social media. Creators on TikTok can be canceled for almost anything and fans can be brutal with their criticism. But, rather than enraging viewers for a political viewpoint or insensitive post, Kelsey Onstott is the subject of hate for charging “too much” money for her balloon art. The video in question shows Kelsey creating a custom color 5ft balloon mosaic, in which she voices over the video saying “I’ve received a lot of really weird comments about my pricing in general but especially the balloon mosaics. “Someone commented and said that takes less than 30 minutes to make and you can get balloons from Party City for $5 and that’s just simply not true. So if anyone out there sees this and thinks they can replicate this with Party City balloons and do it in less than 30 minutes then duet me because I’d love to see it.” People popped off in the comments. One of the top comments on the video read, “300?!? It better play music.” Someone else wrote, “For $300 it better walk and sing.” Another person added “I literally liked it then unliked it…$300 chill. Maybe you can’t do it in less than 30 minutes but most definitely less than $100.” But, others defended Kelsey’s work. TikToker Demi Skipper (Trademeproject) wrote “I think it’s beautiful! People shouldn’t hate on other people’s work or pricing, If she has customers at that price – then you go girl.” The drama wasn’t just confined to the comments as Tiktokers who thought Kelsey was full of hot air accepted the challenge. User @sarahs.everyday.living posted a TikTok of her making a similar balloon mosaic for under $50. Her response has had more than 8 million views and drove the conversation to new heights, with some bigger TikTok stars weighing in such as Indiana and Jena Frumes. User @sugarhaddy posted a duet with Kelsey, amassing more than 13 million views and said while she doesn’t think it’s wrong to charge $300, “it’s wrong to challenge people without explaining your process if your customers have questions on why it costs so much.” However, some duetted the video defending the artist. TikToker Heartthrobrobert thought people had inflated the issue, saying: “You’re all kids with no money of course you think that. “Do you think these rich people want to spend their entire day getting balloons and blowing them up and putting them in a letter that’s just one decoration of dozens at their event? You can do it because you have all the time, you guys just jerk off all day so this seems like nothing. Get a grip!” Kelsey’s original video has 17 million views at the time of writing, and while she is yet to make a statement on the matter, she has shared several of the arguments other people have made on her Instagram.

  • Why TikTok wants justice for X Factor’s ‘aggressive’ P!nk tribute act – Dexerto

Why TikTok wants justice for X Factor’s ‘aggressive’ P!nk tribute act YouTube: The X Factor UK / Zoe Alexander2012 X Factor contestant Zoe Alexander who became known for being an ‘aggressive’ P!nk tribute act has gone viral on TikTok after users found out about the shocking mistreatment of the singer that allegedly happened behind the scenes, seeking “justice for Zoe.” [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] Singing competition X Factor has become notorious for its audition round, that sees many hopeful singers take their shot in front of judges such as the likes of Simon Cowell and Gary Barlow to make it through to the live rounds, and hopefully find their big break. While the show has seen acts like One Direction and Little Mix launch their careers off the back of the show’s popularity, one of the things it has become known for is airing the worst, and most crazy auditions for the general public’s entertainment. Zoe Alexander was one such contestant who thought she was up for the opportunity of a lifetime, but found her face became known for all the wrong reasons as she was branded a ‘crazy’ P!nk tribute act after having a breakdown on stage. But it seems that the episode that aired did not show the full story. https://youtu.be/sjQwLOA-hBs She released the story behind her X Factor ordeal in a series of videos on YouTube back in July, eight years after her original audition. But now the TikTok community has got hold of Zoe’s story, and they’re doing everything they can to inform people of the brutal truth behind the audition, with videos explaining the situation with millions of likes. A TikTok by user thatsmypurseidontknowyou has a whopping three million likes, and in it she details the story shared by Zoe in her YouTube series. She explained how in her original song list, the singer had not chosen to sing any P!nk songs as an attempt to depart from her tribute act. However, Zoe alleges that the producers made it clear to her that the only way she would be allowed on the show was if she sang a P!nk song. She also explains that they told Zoe to turn up at 6 am, hours before she actually had to be there, and constantly talked to her about P!nk throughout the day despite her clear discomfort with it. Comments under the video showed an outpouring of support for Zoe, where they looked back on the audition and realised there were a lot of warning signs that the programme was potentially being deceptive. “‘You told me to sing a P!nk song’ makes so much sense now,” one user said. Another described the situation as “heartbreaking” and remarked that the star had been brought on the show exclusively to be used as a laughing stock. The incident had an enormous emotional impact on the young singer, and her story has struck a chord with many viewers, causing people to reconsider all those ‘crazy auditions’ they’ve seen on TV and laughed about.
