Of course, they didn’t all stick to the same vehicle: the buddies eventually split up, with MrBeast taking a golf cart while another crew member drove a lawnmower to speed up their seemingly impossible task. Driving through a drive thru 1,000 times is bound to get a bit monotonous, as well, so rather than relying on the staff to cook up their orders, Chandler Hallow decided to work the drive thru window, himself – leading to some hilarious shenanigans, in the process. MrBeast’s challenge obviously resulted in a surplus of food, which he donated to a local middle school rather than wasting. He seems to be a favorite amongst younger audiences, as well, as seen in the uproarious cheers from the assembled students during lunchtime. That’s not all: the crew even bought lunches for their local police department and hospital, later renting a limo for “more space” for their orders. The boys’ experiment ran from 7 AM to 9 PM, with the crew spending fourteen hours driving through the same drive thru – a mammoth task that left MrBeast and friends completely wiped out. The YouTuber’s latest challenge follows his feud with fellow YouTuber “Morgz,” who he called out for appearing to copy his video ideas. As one of the biggest faces on the platform, it comes as no surprise that MrBeast boasts a seemingly dedicated copycat – but fans have yet to see if Morgz has the mental fortitude to copy his grueling drive thru challenge.

The news that some Smash players have poor hygiene isn’t exactly fresh news, no pun intended. However, that hasn’t stopped the controversy from continuing. Glink encountered many players at Evo 2019. In a June article on BleedingCool, Gavin Sheehan wrote that “the general complaints of the overall smell of tournament rooms have become a point of contention for players.” As such, Glink tried to remedy this at Evo. But as it turned out, a lot of players already had deodorant on their person or didn’t smell that bad, according to the content creator. “Mind if I take a little whiff of you?” Glink asked one player wearing a Mario shirt. “Yea, take a good whiff,” the Evo attendee replied. “I’m guessing like an oak deodorant?” Glink pondered. He was pronounced dead on August 21, after a long struggle with mental illness, his family confirmed. According to reports, the video creator had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction prior to his death. This was confirmed in the most recent video on his TikTok page, leaving his followers with what seems to be a suicide note. Joe said in the video: “I want to be remembered as a creator, as a creator of videos that made people laugh and a creator of music. I also want to be remembered as the camp counselor who helped kids to make happy memories… “I feel so thankful to have such a following, You guys mean the world to me. All in all, I’ve had a terrific life. I’ve gotten to visit the other side of the world and I’ve made tons of friends from all walks of life. This led her to have an argument with her family as she also revealed her sole source of income was social media. She also shared a story about a Christian man that she met and claims that he was speaking in different tongues. She went back home after the man told her to but ends up getting a message from Berthold, saying she has committed a “grievous act” towards God and to Free Him Now ministry. Rubee is then told she would be kicked out of the ministry, leading them to send her a cease form and she fasts for three days to get back in. The content creator shared that she was given a submission form which according to her “legally binds me, spiritually.” A TikTok user luuhvllyy noted that the videos of both Rubee and the Apostles are edited in the exact same way. The person even noted that the creator’s cash app links to the Free Him Now ministry. Over the last year or so, quite a few luxury watch dealers have made their way into TikTok fame by showing off their deals. Those deals often see thousands of dollars changing hands, and Anthony Farrer was among those creators as became the Timepiece Gentleman on the app. On November 7, 2023, Anthony was arrested and charged with wire fraud — a felony that has him facing 20 years in federal prison. Timepiece Gentleman charged with stealing $3M from customers On November 8, 2023, The United States Attorney’s Office issued a press release revealing that Farrer had appeared in court over the charges. “Anthony Farrer, 35, who until recently lived in downtown Los Angeles, was charged in a federal criminal complaint filed Monday with wire fraud, a felony that carries a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison,” it reads. It goes on to explain that Farrer is also known as “The Timepiece Gentleman,” which is what he named his now deleted TikTok account and YouTube channel. The post goes on to allege that the former influencer promised customers that he would sell their watches on consignment, but kept the money instead of returning it to the people as promised. It reads: “To date, law enforcement estimates that victim losses currently total approximately $3 million.” Anthony’s last post on YouTube was on August 9, 2023, where he said he had plans to pay back all of his victims. The Timepiece Gentleman’s arraignment date is set for December 14, which is when he will enter his plea. Keir Johnston, the husband behind ‘the dress that broke the internet’ admitted to endangering the life of his wife in court on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The court in Glasgow, Scotland heard that the 38-year-old had strangled his wife in their home on March 6, 2022. Johnston turned on his wife Grace, and threatened her, saying: “Someone is going to die.” Johnston had told his wife that she could not attend a job interview in mainland Scotland and she had defied his demands. Whilst he was out drinking at a local pub, the two had been arguing over text messages and Johnston returned home and told his wife he was leaving her. The couple got into an altercation outside their home where Johnston threw his wife to the ground. The court heard that “he then began strangling her with both his hands. She was initially able to scream and feared for her life and believed Johnston intended to kill her as he was very forceful.” Although Clare was able to escape this violent attack, it became clear during the course of the court hearing that she had been living in fear of her husband. Mrs. Johnston described several instances where her husband had threatened her, and even dragged her out of a pub. However, on August 30, 2023, Fox13 reported that “8 Passengers” mother Ruby Franke was arrested, along with Jodi Hildebrandt, founder of the parent counseling service ConneXions, for two counts of aggravated child abuse. The New York Times reported that Franke’s 12-year-old son climbed out a window at Hildebrandt’s home and went to a neighbor’s house on Wednesday morning, asking for food and water. The child had duct tape on his ankles and wrists, as well as open wounds. He appeared to be emaciated and malnourished, according to the affidavit. The neighbor then went on to call the police, who soon found Franke’s 10-year-old daughter in the same house. She was also described as malnourished. Both children were taken to a hospital. But, the most brazen of cheaters will even broadcast their gameplay through livestreaming – providing the opportunity to be caught red-handed. The poster child of this exact scenario is MissQGemini, real name Haley Germaine, a streamer who was blatantly hacking while playing competitive CS:GO on Twitch, and spawned the now well-known ‘Clara’ meme. What does ‘Clara’ mean? In June 2017, MissQGemini was streaming a CS:GO match on Inferno. Just before the first round begins, she opens up her hacking software, and enables a pre-made cheating profile, turning on wallhacks. Continuing to play without realizing that her stream viewers could clearly see the cheats on her screen, it suddenly dawned on her as the chat pointed it out, and immediately panics. In the hopes of talking her way out of it, she references a strange glitch that “shows everyone’s ranks”. This is where ‘Clara’ was born. We still have no idea if Clara is even a real person, but according to MissQGemini, her friend had been playing on her PC and downloaded the cheats. “This is what happens when you let people use your PC. Can’t trust them.” Since this moment, Clara has now become a meme of sorts in the gaming community. Whenever a player is accused of cheating or appears to show themselves cheating, people will joke that Clara is responsible. Of course, Clara is potentially not even a real person. What happened to MissQGemini? Unsurprisingly, MissQGemini’s Steam account was VAC banned for cheating. It’s also reported that she was banned from Twitch but only for 24 hours, and then renamed her account to ‘TheDjinnn’. Since the scandal, MissQGemini has effectively quit streaming altogether and has very little presence online. She does still have a YouTube channel, named ‘Thawty‘, although has posted only a few videos, playing Rainbow Six Siege, and has less than 100 subscribers at the time of writing. With the rapid rise of cheating in Warzone, for example, many streamers have been accused and confirmed as hacking, often with their own broadcasts exposing them. McSkillet had over 800,000 YouTube subscribers at the time of his death, and was the most popular creator focused on Counter-Strike skins. The incident came as a total shock to his fans and the wider CS:GO community. Now, five years on from the tragic day, there are still many who are shocked to learn the story of McSkillet. Who was McSkillet? Trevor Hietmann was a YouTuber from San Diego, who gained popularity for his videos about CS:GO skins, cases, trade-ups, and the game’s in-game economy generally. When CS:GO skins hit a peak of popularity in 2016, McSkillet saw his channel boom. He began taking CS:GO skin gambling sponsorships frequently in 2017, which were lucrative and earned him likely much more than his YouTube content did on its own. He also launched three different skins trading and gambling websites of his own, still at only 17 years old. However, these lucrative ventures all but collapsed in early 2018, when Valve banned many gambling bot accounts, as well as McSkillet’s personal inventory. After this, he went quiet on social media and did not post any more videos. Many have speculated that the ban on his account and gambling bots directly contributed to the actions he took next. How did he die? On August 23, 2018, McSkillet drove his car, a McLaren 650s, to his old school, crashing into the gates. He then continued to the busy I-805 highway in San Diego, driving at speeds over 100mph on the wrong side of the road. He collided head-on with a Hyundai SUV, driven by 43-year-old Aileen Pizarro. In the passenger seat was her 12-year-old daughter, Aryana. Both were killed in the crash. Footage of the crash shows McSkillet did not attempt to swerve before the collision. However, his death was ruled accidental by officials. Backlash and autopsy following crash As news spread of the accident, and the CS:GO community learned it was McSkillet, there was widespread condemnation of his actions. Many believed he had reacted out of anger over the Steam bans, and as a result of his anger, took the lives of two innocent people. However, his parents revealed later that Heitmann had been suffering a manic episode in the days and weeks before his death. He had apparently told them he was having a ‘meltdown,’ and his father phoned police to request a psychiatric evaluation. But, the police refused as no crime had been committed. On the day of the crash, McSkillet apparently cried and said he was having a “breakdown,” and slept for four hours during the day. When he left, he rammed his father’s vehicle which had been blocking his own, to leave the property. A family friend and a psychiatrist, pleaded with police to detain him due to his erratic behavior, stating he was a risk to himself and the public. San Diego made to pay millions to victims’ family In August 2019, it was revealed that the family of Aileen and Aryana Pizarro were suing McSkillet’s estate, as well as the City of San Diego and the County of San Diego. The lawsuit states that San Diego Police failed to apprehend Heitmann after he was examined by the psychiatrist, and gave the warning about his mental state. Officers responded to Heitmann’s family’s Carmel Valley home shortly before the crash but did not evaluate Heitmann or speak with him, according to the lawsuit. In January 2024, the city of San Diego agreed to pay $6.125 million to the Pizarro family. The settlement included $4.25 million to Miguel Angel Pizarro et al. After getting the letter sent to him the following day, after the H3H3 fan account tweeted about it, Ethan went onto his podcast to read it out loud, but not before calling out her legal team. “I had not received this letter… we checked all of my emails,” Klein said. “Before then, her brilliant lawyer had sent this cease and desist to Ethan’s Basement… not the public email address I have for work that I check regularly, you know, not my main email that I check associated with my YouTube account. However, due to HIPAA and other restrictions on what doctors are and aren’t allowed to say about patients, the type of content they can make is restricted. This didn’t stop Dr. Katharine Roxanne Grawe however who frequently livestreamed her surgeries, arguing that it was educational for her viewers Grawe accumulated 846,000 followers and 14.6 million likes on her TikTok account, where she was known as “Dr Roxy.” Clients would come to her after watching her TikToks as they were impressed by what they saw. Unfortunately, this didn’t stop Grawe’s local medical board from coming after her, which made her stop making TikToks. But what happened next? What happened to Dr Roxy? The Ohio Medical Board suspended Grawe’s medical license on November 18, 2022, according to The Columbus Dispatch, two months after Grawe got a warning from the board that filming operations were “unprofessional”. The board said at the time that her continued practice presented “a danger of immediate and serious harm to the public” for not paying full attention to her patients but instead to her livestreams during surgeries. The surgeon, who often posted videos of herself dancing in her scrubs, spent July 2023 battling in court to have her license reinstated. Despite her efforts, officials at the Ohio State Medical Board ruled on July 12, 2023, to permanently revoke her medical license and to fine her $4,500. It came after the medical board investigated her for livestreaming operations on TikTok, as well as surgical complications reported by patients, the New York Times reported. During the hearing, Grawe claimed she always asked permission, but the state medical board said it was inappropriate to share the footage – and that the procedures should have had her full attention. I am willing to change my social media practices and I will never live stream a surgery again.” In response, a medical board member replied: “We’ve seen an extreme lack of professionalism. “Her posts were done as a marketing ploy. The judge sentenced Masterson to 15 years to life on each of the two charges, ordering Masterson to serve both terms consecutively. Why was Danny Masterson sentenced to jail? On May 31, 2023, a jury of seven women and five men found Masterson guilty of two counts of rape after seven days of deliberations. The jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on a third count, an allegation that Masterson also raped a longtime girlfriend, the Independent reports. The video showed him placing the device in a pan of water. He also said in the video: “I’m not on house arrest, I’m on the run. I’m on my way to New York right now.” Amigo Chino claims he’s on the run following Orange Theory crash In the series of videos posted in less than 24 hours, the content creator claims to be ‘on the run’ after getting rid of his ankle bracelet but advises his followers to not repeat his actions. Chino then said he was trying to get to California from Boston with very little money on him while his phone was running out of battery as well. While he is ‘on the run’, Chino has urged his followers to buy the “Free Amigo” merch, which includes items displaying his picture that resembles a mug shot with #freechino printed below it. Is Amigo Chino really on the run? Although the TikToker has published 14 videos of him seemingly on the run, viewers aren’t buying it. Many people think Amigo Chino is pulling an elaborate prank as the supposed screenshot of the NBC Boston 10 article is not on the news publication’s official website. His early release however was related to asthma concerns, and the judge said he was a “model prisoner”. On March 21, 6ix9ine was in an LA Fitness sauna area, when multiple men, estimated to be at least four, attacked him. His attorney says the attack was unprovoked and without warning. The manager of the gym was informed of a commotion, and emergency services were called. The alleged perpetrators reportedly fled the scene. 6ix9ine jumped at LA Fitness Tekashi 6ix9ine was taken to hospital in an ambulance, after suffering injuries to his face, back and ribs. TMZ, who obtained images of the rapper following the attack, say his face has suffered gashes and swelling. Videos of the attack and the aftermath were shared on social media. His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that: “he plans to call the Feds to make sure 6ix9ine gets the protection he clearly needs.” It is not known whether the attack was meant as retaliation for 6ix9ine’s cooperation with authorities, or if it was unrelated. COD cosplayer confirmed dead by suicide in TikTok Live TikTok: Inquisitore3Popular Call of Duty cosplayer Vincent Plicchi, better known online as ‘Inquisitor’ for his cosplays of the COD character Ghost, has reportedly died by suicide, showcased in a disturbing and concerning TikTok Live. Earlier in October 2023, the 23-year-old cosplayer from Bologna, Italy, who goes by Inquisitore3 on TikTok, was accused of grooming minors, facing much backlash from the community, with over 100k followers himself. It was later believed that the accusations against him were false. His last posts were on September 27, almost two weeks before the TikTok Live video in question took place, and prior to the accusations catching steam on social media. As questions were running rampant across his community and fans discussed the allegations being made, Inquisitore went live on TikTok late on Monday, October 9, with a very concerning view. Inquisitor Ghost TikTok Live The live video was simply an empty room, with a window, late at night and very dark, with comments turned off and users unable to discuss what was going on. While the room seemed empty, it soon became apparent that something was happening, as somebody started trying to smash through the window, though viewers were unaware of what was happening at the time. There was then a panic and what looked like someone performing CPR, just slightly out of view of the camera, as another person who broke in is on the phone. In Italian, the woman was heard demanding to “call someone” for help, before one of the people in the video confirmed that “he was hanged here” and asking “where the f**k are they [the ambulance]?” This immediately led fans to speculate that Inquisitore had died, as the operator on the call guided them through the CPR process to attempt resuscitation. Inquisitore death confirmed Plicchi was later confirmed dead, as reported by Corriere de Bologna. “The only way he found to defend himself from dishonor and prove his innocence was to take his own life”, his father said in a statement to Sky Italia. “Guys, be careful of these communities … live your life in reality, I can’t believe that today I’m burying my son. It came less than a day after popular Twitch streamer Adin Ross was similarly swatted live on air, with armed police entering his home, and was understandably traumatized by the experience. Fousey has also had a problem with his viewers calling the police on him. After having the police called to the restaurant he was at after a viewer called about a “bomb threat,” Fousey took to Twitter the next day to beg fans to stop calling the police on him. Being ‘swatted’ first requires a troll to find a streamer’s address or location. They then make a hoax phone call to emergency services and falsely alert them to some kind of extreme violence at the creator’s address, hoping to prompt an armed response – hence the ‘SWAT’ team part of the name. As a result, a streamer can suddenly find their home being raided by police officers carrying guns, often believing they are about to find a grisly crime scene, not a streamer playing games. Twitch streamers are targeted because it means the troll can watch the action unfold on stream in front of thousands. Countless streamers have been victims of swatting, most notably xQc, Amouranth, Summit1g, Pokimane, and Ice Poseidon. What is the punishment for swatting?
