Viewers disgusted after Reese’s Cup contains live maggots in viral video TikTok: veronicaaispuro31/Wikimedia CommonsViewers on TikTok were left shocked after a video showing live maggots apparently crawling through Reese’s Cups went viral on the platform. Every so often, perfectly good and not-expired food can manage to go bad for seemingly no reason. Back in August, a TikTok video went viral claiming they found bugs inside of a seasoning bottle from Walmart. Reports of Reese’s Cups having live maggots in them can be dated clear back to 2014, and popular fact-checking website Snopes hasn’t determined whether or not it’s true. A TikTok video recently went viral showing the bugs inside of Miniature Reese’s Cups, leaving viewers shocked yet again. Woman claims Reese’s Cups came with live maggots Uploaded on October 3, 2023, the clip has been viewed over two million times and has left many viewers stunned. “My friend just bought these at Walmart. Just letting people know to please be careful buying the Reese’s,” she said, showing the mini Reese’s Cups on her table with maggots crawling in and around them. She went on to show herself opening one up from a pile on the table, and the result was straight from Reese’s lovers nightmare. The video has over 7,000 comments, with many users disgusted at the findings. “That isn’t gonna just be from Walmart! That had to come from the company that made them,” one replied. Another commented that they had a similar encounter: “I bought a Nestlé Crunch bar when I was like 6 and it has these in it. I’m 41 now lol still haunts me and I always check.” “Those all look opened and re-wrapped but that’s just me,” one person said that doubted the findings. Reese’s hasn’t commented on the viral video as of writing, but we’ll be sure to update this article if they do. In the meantime, head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

Viewers appalled after hotel refuses to fix guest’s broken door – Dexerto
Viewers appalled after hotel refuses to fix guest’s broken door TikTok: maggiemadecrochetA woman took to TikTok to expose the hotel she was staying at for not fixing her broken door during her stay. As a result, viewers were gobsmacked. Staying in a hospitable environment when away from home comes with expectations. Is there a television with cable? Will there be a mini fridge to put leftovers in? Do the blinds cover the sunshine in the morning? And most importantly, does the door to the hotel room safely lock without any trouble? So, when TikToker Maggie stayed at the Marriott without a properly functioning door, not only was she appalled, but her viewers were just as flabbergasted by the hotel’s unwillingness to fix the situation at that moment. Woman was given cheesecake and wine instead of new hotel room Maggie was traveling for work in downtown Philadelphia when her company put her up for a night’s stay at the Marriott. However, when she went to lock the door to her hotel room, she noticed a gap between the frame and the door itself when attempting to get inside her room. The lock on the inside where she was staying was also damaged and unable to properly lock. Maggie then went to the front desk, hoping for another room, but the hotel was completely full. Not only that, but there wasn’t anyone willing to fix the lock to her door before she went to bed that night. However, the hotel offered Maggie a slice of cheesecake and a glass of wine to make up for their mistake. But that wasn’t enough for Maggie, so she asked the hotel for door stops to put under her door from the inside to protect herself from any harm. Though she was given two, she still was unable to sleep through the night. After her stay, she uploaded a video to TikTok to expose the Marriott for their broken door, and viewers were just as appalled as Maggie was. While some viewers mentioned that it wasn’t the first time that Marriott had broken doors, others were eager to say what they would have done. “Omg, they wouldn’t move you?! Absolutely not. I’d be checking out or they should be accommodating you and moving you to another/partner hotel nearby.” And, “I’ll take your wine and cheesecake but I’ll raise you a full refund, vouchers for my next stay, and free dinner!” A manager of a separate hotel also chimed in, saying, “As a hotel manager… if the hotel is oversold there is nowhere for you to go BUT they should have walked you to another local hotel that had room free.” Though Maggie didn’t say she’d never stay at that hotel in the future, she did mention to viewers what room number it was. After her stay, she also contacted the Marriott to explain the situation and was again met with little to no help.

Viewers baffled as hotel charges man $67 for two waters and a coffee – Dexerto
Viewers baffled as hotel charges man $67 for two waters and a coffee TikTok: heybigmichaelA TikToker has left viewers stunned after revealing he was charged $67 for just two bottles of water and a coffee at his Las Vegas hotel. Las Vegas claims to be the Entertainment Capital of the World and is best known for its luxurious casino hotels and high-end gambling. With many making the trip in hopes of having fun and — if lucky — leaving with fuller pockets, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to hear some businesses are making the most of the millions visiting each year. That includes bumping prices on amenities, one man taking to TikTok to reveal that he was billed $67 by his hotel for simply water and coffee. Michael, who goes by ‘heybigmichael‘ on the social media app, showed off his Vegas hotel room in the video, zooming in on two purchased Fiji water bottles and a small cup of coffee. “The biggest criminal situation I’ve ever been involved in… not drugs, it’s two Fiji waters and one cup of coffee for 67 f****** dollars at the Fontainebleau,” Michael said. “67 f****** dollars! What!?” He went on to break down how much each item cost on the receipt, saying, “14 bucks for a liter and a half of coffee and two f****** waters for 67 f****** dollars? What kind of f****** water is this?” Viewers were taken aback by the costly purchases, labeling the total of Michael’s receipt as “crazy” and sharing their own buying experiences in Vegas. “20 dollars in taxes and fees is the craziest part,” one person commented. Another said, “Me when I bought two drinks at a club in Vegas for $55 each.” However, according to some, Michael had no one to blame but himself and should have known better while staying in America’s Entertainment Capital; “Are you new to Vegas? You never use the hotel drinks or amenities. They tell you how much they cost if you use them.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Viewer who sued Twitch for $25M over “simp culture” denied by judge – Dexerto
Viewer who sued Twitch for $25M over “simp culture” denied by judge Pokimane/Twitch/AlinityErik Estavillo, the Twitch viewer who sued the platform for $25 million in damages for exposing him to “overly suggestive and sexual content from various female streamers” including Pokimane and Alinity while using the site has had his case denied by a California court. Back in June of 2020 Estavillo, who has previously sued Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard, filed a lawsuit against Twitch in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California. According to the lawsuit, Twitch’s “twisted programming net code” combined with OCD and sex addiction made it nearly impossible for him to use Twitch without being exposed to “sexual content.” Estavillo named a number of female streamers in his complaint, including Pokimane, Alinity, Amouranth, and others, while requesting they be “permanently banned,” however, it doesn’t seem like the court agreed he had a case. In the tentative ruling posted by the court, the judge said the main problem with Estavillo’s case was the evidence he brought forward wasn’t enough to support the claims in his lawsuit. “The “exhibits” submitted by Plaintiff [Estavillo] with his opposition do not identify, much less support, any claims under California law,” the ruling reads. Basically, after the lawsuit was filed lawyers representing Twitch made a motion with the court to dismiss it, and the court did “with prejudice.” That means this saga seems to be over, once and for all, and can’t be brought back to court. Despite this, the self-described Twitch addict has said he plans on appealing this ruling to the 6 District Court of Appeals, but whether or not things will fare any differently for him there remains to be seen. Estavillo, who was following 786 female streamers and 0 male streamers at the time of the complaint back in June, said he wanted $25 million from Twitch, along with having all of the female streamers he had mentioned “permanently banned.” With the court’s decision though, that happening now seems slimmer than ever.

Many YouTube fans likely know videogamedunkey thanks to his witty video essays and surrounding all things video games – and while he usually tends to keep his personal life separate from his videos, he’s done a fair share of IRL content with his wife, Leahbee. In fact, the couple posted a touching video of their wedding ceremony on September 27, 2019, to share the day with their family, friends, and viewers. Now, three years after their marriage, the couple have announced they’re expecting their first child. Viewer shocks homeless streamer with incredible birthday surprise – Dexerto
Viewer shocks homeless streamer with incredible birthday surprise Twitter/salminattiIRL YouTube streamer Salmon Andy has backpacked across America from New York City to Los Angeles and just turned 27 on September 2. The homeless star claims to have been to 24 states, aspires to make films, and has turned travel into a lifestyle. According to his YouTube channel, the YouTube streamer is “using this experience to film and aim to put a movie together”. It’s crazy to imagine being homeless and a streamer in 2019, but with the internet and a phone to document his every move, Salmon Andy has amassed a good amount of support. And as you’ll see, support can come in clutch. On Sept 2, the streamer tweeted, “Today, I project my energy onto the stream…and the energy of the chat shall not project onto me (unless positive). With that being said… My first ever 24 hour stream goes down in 3 hours.” “I’m hype to celebrate 27 years of life with you all. Today we feast, celebrate, n drink!” he added. Today, I project my energy onto the stream…and the energy of the chat shall not project onto me (unless positive). With that being said… My first ever 24 hour stream goes down in 3 hours. I’m hype to celebrate 27 years of life with you all. Today we feast, celebrate, n drink! — Salminatti (@salminatti) September 2, 2019 While at a restaurant celebrating, an employee dropped off a cake for the 27-year-old completely out of the blue, catching the nomad off-guard. “Sweet, how did you know?” Andy asked. “Steve called,” the waiter replied. “Who the fuck’s Steve?” a flabbergasted Andy responded. “Motherfucking Steve, yo. That’s what happens when you’re live. You get random people… I appreciate you, Steve. Thank you, man.” And with that, Andy held up his freshly received cake equipped with a candle and everything. We have to say, that cake looked pretty delicious. Eventually, Salmon asked his chat to sing the birthday song along with him, but made one notable changeup near the end. “Happy Birthday dear Salmon, make a wish and smoke your eighth,” he sang before blowing out the candle and digging in. Hopefully the rest of Salmon’s birthday went just as eventful as his surprise cake.

Video of Minnie Mouse smoking surfaces after Disney mascot photo goes viral – Dexerto
Video of Minnie Mouse smoking surfaces after Disney mascot photo goes viral Instagram/mountain_mon1Footage of a man in a Minnie Mouse costume smoking has surfaced, providing a new look at an iconic, viral photo. The internet is home to all sorts of weird actors and bizarre photos, and one that spread like wildfire last year featured an older-looking man having a smoke break while still in his Minnie Mouse costume. While the meme has since been identified as being shot in Las Vegas and not Disneyland or Disney World, we now have a video showing the incident in action. Just imagine being a child, excited to meet one of the most beloved Disney characters just to find out that inside the costume is a baling middle-aged man? On January 2, a video was posted to Instagram capturing a trove of folks walking around Vegas with a person in a Minnie Mouse outfit off to the side, trying to remain inconspicuous. After zooming in, the footage showed that the person smoking was the same from the viral photos, having a good smoke break. “Minnie Mouse smoking!” the man filming exclaimed, clearly perplexed by what they were seeing. The video quickly spread over multiple platforms, amassing over 3.6 million views, and that’s just on X alone. So far, it’s not clear who this man is or if patrolling the Vegas Strip dressed as Minnie is his full-time gig, but hopefully, this newfound exposure can help make him a bigger star than he already is in the entertainment world.

Video platform explains why it’s letting Andrew Tate “speak freely” after numerous bans – Dexerto
Video platform explains why it’s letting Andrew Tate “speak freely” after numerous bans Rumble/AndrewTateControversial social media figure Andrew Tate has been banned from just about every platform under the sun this week including YouTube and TikTok, but one is content with letting him speak. Tate’s comments about women in society have earned him the ire of the internet with Facebook and Instagram-owned Meta claiming he violated their “policies on dangerous organizations and individuals.” Despite some free speech support from the likes of Jake Paul, SomeOrdinaryGamer and recently Twitch star Asmongold, it’s unlikely that the platforms that banned Tate will change their position and welcome him back. However, one video site, Rumble, has expressed that Tate’s content will remain on the site with its CEO Chris Pavlovski explaining why he feels it would be wrong to censor him. Rumble CEO vows to protect Andrew Tate’s free speech In a post on Twitter, Pavlovski retweeted a Rumble link to Andrew Tate’s so-called “final message” and revealed that his videos won’t be pulled from the site. “Providing a platform for people to speak freely is essential,” he stated. “We are going to do whatever it takes to hold the line for free speech, whether we agree or disagree with what’s said.” It’s important to note that the Rumble CEO is not supporting Tate’s comments, but rather believes he has a right to say them. Rumble’s decision was met with support in the comments. “Freedom of speech and expression is paramount for free and open society and cancel culture has no place,” replied one user. Tate’s Rumble videos have incredibly low view counts some uploaded months ago only having one or two to their name. We’ll have to see if that changes with Rumble being one of the only platforms still allowing Tate’s content. Back in February, Rumble offered Joe Rogan $100m to leave Spotify amid calls to “cancel” the podcast host.

Video game dispute ends in shoot-out with three officers injured – Dexerto
Video game dispute ends in shoot-out with three officers injured Twitter: crimewithbobby / Unsplash: SigmundAn argument over the loud volume of a video game has resulted in a shooting with three police officers getting injured in the crossfire. A man is dead and three officers injured after an argument over a loud video game ended in a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia. Authorities were called to a property on Wednesday after a 12-year-old boy phoned police to report that his dad, Michael Hwang, had shot his uncle following a dispute. The boy had allegedly been arguing with his dad over a video game’s volume when the boy’s uncle stepped in and things escalated. Hwang, donning a ballistic vest and armed with a Glock pistol, reportedly then waited in the front doorway for police to arrive before unleashing gunfire on them. A gunfight ensued until Hwang was fatally wounded. Acting Police Commissioner John Stanford told The Associated Press that he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two officers and a sergeant were injured during the shooting but are expected to make a recovery. The uncle was hospitalized in critical condition, and the son and a woman were able to leave the residence uninjured. According to FOX 29, Hwang was known to the police department and was “suffering from a mental illness.” Just last month, he was found ‘not guilty’ on two criminal charges after firing guns in the backyard of the same property. “It is stunning, I thank God that (the officers) are okay. I thank them for their bravery and their desire to do this job which is very, very difficult, and I thank their families for the sacrifice they make,” Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said. Responding to the news on Twitter, one person wrote, “These senseless crimes have to stop.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

VidCon ‘influencer apology’ costume has the internet in stitches – Dexerto
VidCon ‘influencer apology’ costume has the internet in stitches Tyalor Lorenz, Pugloca – Twitter / Laura Lee, YouTubeVidCon is the largest gathering for video and internet influencers, taking place this weekend at California’s Anaheim convention center – but it’s not just online celebrities that are making an appearance at the convention, as evidenced by one con-goer’s hilarious cosplay. While VidCon sees many famous faces from sites like YouTube, TikTok, and other such video platforms, regular attendees also make a massive appearance at the event – and some stand out more than others. By now, you’ve likely seen the slew of “apology videos” circling the net, which crop up after internet sleuths discover faults in major influencers’ pasts (think Logan Paul’s ‘Suicide Forest’ scandal or Laura Lee’s nearly-laughable apology upload). In fact, apology videos have become so prevalent that it has likewise become a meme to make fun of them, and one young con-goer did just that, dressing up as an apology video during this year’s VidCon – even bringing tissues for added effect. The youngster, going by the Twitter handle ‘PugLoca,’ wore a cardboard YouTube thumbnail titled ‘My Apology,’ putting on a hilarious show where he apologized for making a TikTok video at his grandmother’s funeral. This kid came dressed as an influencer apology video at #Vidcon2019 @pugloca pic.twitter.com/X8e79czn5A — Taylor Lorenz @ VidCon (@TaylorLorenz) July 12, 2019 The cosplayer even poked fun at Logan Paul’s infamous ‘Suicide Forest’ debacle from early 2018, jokingly pleading with photographers, “I’m sorry for filming a dead body! Please forgive me!” The internet lost their collective minds at the costume, finding it both hilarious and topical considering today’s YouTube culture, with some pointing out the huge number of ads placed throughout the faux video – as well as the horrendous like to dislike ratio. More realistic than YouTuber apology videos — Scout Moser :white_flag:️:rainbow: (@Scout_Moser) July 12, 2019 “More realistic than YouTuber apology videos,” one Twitter user said of the costume. “BITCH! I almost threw my phone!” another wrote. “Genius and wig snatching at the same time, I LIVE!!!” BIIIIIIIICCCCCTHHHHHHH!!!! :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: I ALMOST THREW MY PHONE!!!Genius and wig snatching at the same time, I LIVE!!! :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: pic.twitter.com/3NHT2w1K3y — Moppi | Serran Beefcaek task mage (R.I.P. Gideon) (@vor_inquisition) July 12, 2019 However, other users were quick to point out that popular YouTuber ‘JacksFilms’ created the costume for Halloween in 2018, which he’d made public for fans to use at their own events – an opportunity that the youngster took and ran with, garnering over 10,000 retweets and 39,000 likes at the time of writing. Both JacksFilms and the kiddo in costume have yet to comment on his hilarious outfit, which continues to go viral, thanks to the cosplayer’s hilarious performance.

Vexoria puts VTubing in spotlight with thegameHERs 2022 award win – Dexerto
Vexoria puts VTubing in spotlight with thegameHERs 2022 award win Twitch: Vexoria the Sun EaterWhile some award shows give VTubers their own section to shine, Vexoria the Sun Eater went one better at thegameHERs 2022. The Twitch star took home Charity Streamer of the Year, thrusting the medium into the wider spotlight again. thegameHERs awards are there to support and highlight women in streaming, celebrating their achievements across the year. It’s a big affair with big name sponsors, with the ceremony itself attracting thousands of viewers on November 29. While most of the streamers who walked away with prizes from the night were of the flesh variety, one virtual creator stood out in Vexoria the Sun Eater. The 36-year-old streamer and mother of two prides herself on her authenticity on stream, as well as shining a spotlight on important issues like mental health. It was that support that ultimately gave her the Charity Streamer of the Year gong, following a massive broadcast earlier this year. Vexoria won specifically for her charity stream with survivors.org in April 2022, raising more than $16,000 across the five-hour broadcast with the support of her fans in the Hissing Depths. The stream reached hundreds of viewers, with a combined watch time of more than 3,600 hours. It was a no-brainer for her to support survivors.org, a domestic violence survivor support charity: “As a former survivor of domestic abuse from a previous relationship, I wanted to help those who had suffered similar trauma I had,” she told Dexerto. “I wanted to raise awareness that domestic abuse and trauma can happen to anyone no matter the age or gender identity. I also wanted to give hope to those who were still in difficult situations and let them know there [is support] out there for them.” The award nomination back in September took her by surprise to start. She was also nominated for Twitch Streamer of the Year, despite only debuting in November 2021. It meant the world for Vexoria, who was “completely shocked” to actually win on the night. “I started crying happy tears like a cascading waterfall and I was at a complete loss for words,” she said. “My husband [Zolon] ran in and started crying and hugging me telling me how proud he was of me. “I haven’t even been streaming a year yet, and to be recognized by thegameHERs and be nominated with other fantastic, wonderful, and charitable content creators was a huge honor and privilege.” However, it’s not just a case of being recognized as a female content creator. It’s the fact a VTuber stood shoulder to shoulder alongside their flesh counterparts. Rarely in award ceremonies does that happen, with VTubers — although now getting recognized — often being relegated to individual categories. There’s been a few exceptions to the rule, with some VTubers and virtual stars getting some innovation nominations like CodeMiko. But never has one actually won over a flesh counterpart. “I think VTuber representation for these kinds of awards is a wonderful thing! It shows other VTubers that you can make a difference, and it shows the rest of society that you don’t necessarily have to do charity work in conventional ways. “VTubers are valid content creators and can bring so much creativity to these award shows and mainstream media. We are every bit as much of a force in the streaming world as other mainstream content creators, and with our creativity, our communities, and our drive, we can be a powerful force for good in the world. “I hope that more visibility in these award shows and other mainstream presentations creates more awareness of VTubing in general, more eyes on the style of content we can create, the types of things we can do, and the way VTubers itself changes the art of streaming.” As for what the future holds for Vexoria? Well she has her anniversary to look forward to and a ton of new content, including a “human form” model as well as a big Vexoria 2.0 model re-debut. And the survivors.org charity stream wasn’t a one-off either, with the Sun Eater ready to bring awareness to more great causes: “I am also looking to do more charity work with organizations that matter most to my community and myself, namely neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ charities as I have a 12-year daughter on the spectrum and I am bisexual. “I’ve had amazing opportunities this past year with many memorable collaborations and fantastic friends. I’m really looking forward to all the fun stuff we have planned for the next year and cannot wait to celebrate it all with my awesome community!”

Victims of TikTok Kia challenge sue Kia and Hyundai after wave of car thefts – Dexerto
Victims of TikTok Kia challenge sue Kia and Hyundai after wave of car thefts TikTok/Unsplash: @adeelshabirVictims of the TikTok Kia challenge are suing Kia and Hyundai after the trend caused a rise in vehicle thefts across the nation. Back in July 2022, the Kia Challenge surfaced as the latest viral trend on TikTok, resulting in car thefts across the USA. The trend began after a creator on the app uploaded a video showing how he started his Kia by only using a USB cable, and others quickly realized it worked on Hyundai vehicles as well. Both companies responded in early September, but now victims of the trend are suing the automotive giants. Kia Challenge Victims sue Hyundai and Kia On September 21, California-based MLG Attorneys at Law issued a press release regarding the National Class Action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that cars manufactured between 2011 and 2021 by Kia and Hyundai were made without an “engine immobilizer” which prohibits cars from being hot-wired and stolen. “It’s time to centralize the fight with Kia and Hyundai,” said Jonathan Michaels, founder of MLG Attorneys at Law. “We filed the class action in federal court in Orange County to bring it to the doorstep of these two massive auto manufacturers.” The lawsuit is seeking monetary damages against the Korean automakers, as well as a nationwide recall of all affected vehicles. The MLG website offers detailed facts and statistics surrounding the influx of car thefts after the challenge went viral on TikTok, as well as a way to join the national class action lawsuit if you were one of the affected customers. Verizon support struggling to keep up as viral Twitter spam targets random NASA post – Dexerto
Verizon support struggling to keep up as viral Twitter spam targets random NASA post Unsplash: Marques ThomasVerizon’s Twitter Support team has been put to work recently with a shocking influx of requests about billing on… you guessed it, the comment section of an “Amazing Astronomy” post. Twitter is truly the heart of where all social discourse takes place, individuals of all statuses look to Twitter as an outlet to discuss politics and economics, all the way to movies and gaming. Twitter users have seemingly combined both the telecommunications space as well as the astronomy space all in one post, however, by simply referring to their Verizon bills on an innocuous tweet about space programming. “That looks like my Verizon bill”, is a statement all too commonly heard by Verizon support agents, as Twitter users flooded the comment section of Amazing Astronomy‘s post. This has prompted a mass response from Verizon Support agents, as they struggle to reply to the spam of Twitter users trolling the astronomy appreciation post. It appears that each time a user posts something similar to the “That looks like my Verizon bill” joke on the post, it causes a Verizon employee to respond and address the user’s concerns. Obviously, the users don’t actually have a problem with their Verizon bill and aren’t taking it seriously, but the Verizon team very much has to and is struggling to keep up with the sheer number of users posting. At the time of writing, the random tweet has been seen almost 20 million times, with almost 30,000 Twitter users retweeting it themselves to share the comedy around. To make matters worse, the post has become massively viral as a result, with more and more users quote retweeting it instructing people to look at the replies which will surely cause more chaos to ensue. Feel free to take a look for yourself, but maybe don’t bring up your internet bills if you actually do need assistance.

Vets warn against TikTok trend of popping your cats pimples – Dexerto
Vets warn against TikTok trend of popping your cats pimples TikToker: Sphynx.cleaner/Wikimedia Commons: Dmitry MakeevVeterinarians are warning against a viral TikTok trend that has creators popping pimples on their hairless cats, which are more prone to getting breakouts. Since it was created in 2016, TikTok has been home to thousands of different viral trends that widely vary in style. From dancing and lip-syncing the latest viral song to rubbing egg whites on your face, there’s a little bit of something for everybody. One of the latest trends involves popping pimples on hairless cats, and veterinarians have started warning against it. Vets warn against cat pimple popping While many people find it gross, others find watching videos of people popping pimples rather satisfying. So much in fact, that the ‘pimple pop’ hashtag has over 11 billion views. A TikToker by the name of ‘sphynx.cleaner’ has joined in on the craze with her own twist — popping pimples on her hairless cat. She’s amassed over 15,000 followers and has had millions of views across her videos. As cats are prone to getting acne on their chin, owners worldwide share various ways to take care of it. Viewers were quick to share their thoughts in the comments of the videos. “My cat would impale me before she’d let me do this,” one user said. Another replied: “I love popping spots but you do have nails and it looks like it’s hurting.” Vets are warning against the viral trend, however, as Dr. Jessica Taylor told Newsweek the dangers of popping them. “These lesions indicate a disruption in the skin and skin barrier, and squeezing or poking them can introduce bacteria, potentially worsening the lesion, causing pain and infection,” Dr. Taylor said. “If the lesion is already infected, handling it could spread bacteria to the pet parent.” There are many ways to keep your face clean and free of pimple-causing debris, but it’s recommended to consult your personal vet for suggestions.

Popular TikToker ‘jordan_the_stallion8’ currently holds a following of 11.4 million and is known for his food expertise and for exposing recipes from various establishments. Sometimes, these reveals are used as a form of revenge when Jordan feels he has not been treated fairly. Referring to himself as “president of the Fast Foods Secrets Club,” no recipe is safe from Jordan’s vengeance. Costco has now learned this the hard way, getting their Mac and Cheese recipe exposed by the TikTok star after an employee didn’t accept his membership. Recounting the story, Jordan explained he had gone to Costco with the intent of buying Mac and Cheese but encountered something that had become an “ongoing issue.” “The employees don’t believe that I am the same person that is on the picture of my membership card,” Jordan explained. “The only difference is… I have a beard now and I pay bills. That’s the only two things that are different.” With the employees questioning Jordan’s membership, he told them, “The only difference is the person that’s on the picture of that card is happy to be in a Costco — I am not right now.” He was then instructed to return the Mac and Cheese he had been looking to buy, bringing about his decision to expose their recipe for the same dish. And for those looking to make some for themselves, here is the recipe Jordan revealed; One pound of Cavatappi pasta – One tablespoon of olive oil – A half cup of butter – A half cup of flour – One cup of cream – Three cups of milk – Three and a half cups of grated white cheddar cheese – Two cups of Gruyere cheese – Three-fourths cups of Romano cheese – One-half cup of Parmesan cheese – A half cup of medium cheddar cheese – A half tablespoon of salt – One-half teaspoon of pepper – One-fourth teaspoon of paprika – One-fourth teaspoon of garlic powder – Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Velveeta made a cheese martini and the internet is disgusted – Dexerto
Velveeta made a cheese martini and the internet is disgusted YouTube: CBS ChicagoVelveeta has created an unholy combination of Mac & Cheese and alcohol with its new ‘Veltini’ martini… and the internet isn’t vibing with it at all. Velveeta shells and cheese are a staple in American cuisine, although not everyone’s a fan of the instant cheesy mac brand (especially in comparison to Kraft mac). The company has made quite a few interesting partnerships in recent years, including a cheese-scented nail polish they debuted last month that comes in two different colors. Now, Velveeta is taking things to the next level with an alcoholic beverage… but the reception hasn’t exactly been positive. In July 2022, the company unveiled its first-ever cheesy ‘Veltini’ Martini. The bev is garnished with pasta shells and of course, olives, and is made with what People described as “Velveeta-infused vodka” alongside flavors of vermouth and olive brine. You can snag this interesting combo at BLT steak restaurants for a whopping $15, but only during their “golden hour” from 5 PM – 8 PM. If you’re willing to take the plunge, you should get it while it’s hot, because it’s only being offered for a limited time. Not everyone is enthused about this seemingly random creation, though. In fact, most netizens feel that Velveeta was so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should. “I don’t know what stage of societal collapse this represents but I feel comfortable saying, the end is truly nigh,” one nihilistic user wrote. I don’t know what stage of societal collapse this represents but I feel comfortable saying, the end is truly nigh. — Jason Motz (@musicmerc) July 21, 2022 “There are abominations in this world that should just not exist, and a f*cking Velveeta martini is top of the list,” another said. “Alright, that’s it. Aliens, you have permission to wipe our species off the map. We don’t deserve to exist any longer,” yet another bemoaned. It looks like this particular venture isn’t exactly hitting — but we have to admit that it makes us curious to give it a try, much like the viral Pink Sauce that’s taking over TikTok right now.

Veibae loves being a “full-time anime girl”, but VTubing is more than that to her – Dexerto
Veibae loves being a “full-time anime girl”, but VTubing is more than that to her Twitch: VeibaeWhen I asked Veibae about what she does, she called herself a “full-time anime girl”, but there’s more to VTubing, and the VShojo star, than that. As the medium becomes more normalized, there’s been a shift in how virtual stars are perceived – as well as how they see themselves. VTubing’s explosion saw the medium rise up very quickly as this ‘other’ that, at times, was at odds with the wider streaming world. It was easy back in 2018 and 2019 to distance virtual entertainers as these fringe creators with a niche audience. Not anymore. You cannot escape VTubing wherever you go online now. Twitch, YouTube, Twitter; they’re everywhere. However, the stigma still remains around this perceived ‘other’ that has kept the medium from truly flourishing. There’s the easy cop-outs: VTubers are ‘masking’ their real identities behind these anime girls, and are they really girls? They’re a threat to regular streamers and have always been branded as such rather than two people doing the same thing — entertaining audiences — with different approaches. However in the eyes of VShojo star Veibae those walls are slowly coming down. She’s a self-titled “full-time anime girl,” with thousands of fans tuning in every day to watch the succubus-turned-serpent stream on Twitch. Being a VTuber isn’t her whole identity though. In fact, that’s the biggest bridge the community is still building to try and legitimize it all in the eyes of the masses — they’re all just streamers, but with different bodies. “I don’t consider myself much of a VTuber,” she told Dexerto. “I feel like most VTubers on Twitch don’t consider themselves that; they prefer to refer to themselves as a content creator, a streamer.” This perception and stigma didn’t just appear overnight. It comes from the environment VTubing is steeped in: Japanese idol culture. Idols are meant to be separate entities from the person performing, prim and proper with played-up personalities. They debut and they graduate, having to fluidly move between being the idol character and their personal selves. With idol culture comes this stigma of inauthenticity, a fake character meant to appeal to the widest masses. While some VTubers lean into that, most are choosing to be themselves — especially with English audiences. Veibae is one of them. “I like to be honest and keep it very real with my community. I don’t like to sell them something that I’m not for the sake of monetizing them,” she added. “When you roleplay an anime character to an extreme, people tend to get very attached to that, and any slip up you have where your real human 3D person comes out, your human persona, people tend to have a breakdown. “In Japan, VTubing is more about idol stuff. VTubers in Japan are considered idol-like, they have to be very perfect and always on their best behavior. It’s very different and I don’t want to be held to that standard because I know I’m not a perfect person and I don’t claim to be.” However, there’s also a realization within the community that it’s okay to embrace that identity and extension of yourself. It was relatively easy to dismiss it when there were only a select few like Kizuna AI — or even before VTubing with the likes of Hatsune Miku and vocaloids. They could be seen as the other. “People used to find VTubing cringe. You’re roleplaying and putting on a fake voice – but you’re really not. They’re just streamers, and that became normal,” she said. “Being a VTuber is no longer seen as being weird or different. “Back then, you’d wouldn’t find a VTuber on LSF [/r/livestreamfail, a popular Reddit community], but nowadays they get clipped all the time. “I’m glad people that found VTubers cringe are at least more open to it now and they open our streams and they’re like ‘they’re normal people having fun like everyone else.’ The stigma of it is long gone. VTubing is not different to normal streaming, and that’s the best thing to happen because that opens us up to a wider audience.” The space has now reached a critical mass where they’re no longer the other. It’s okay say that your job is being a “full-time anime girl”. While that’s most notably seen in the overall perception of how VTubers are seen by others, it has also started a change in how those virtual stars see themselves. The transition to VTubing, and finding confidence in herself Veibae did not start her content creator journey as a VTuber. Before there was a succubus and a serpent, there was a camera-less streamer trying to break into the Twitch space. She started out back in 2015-16 just streaming without her face attached, playing games like PUBG, Black Desert Online, and League of Legends — but she was most well known for her Overwatch content. She got a decent sized following, rising slowly from 20 to 50 to more than 100 average viewers per stream across a few years. There was no desire to slap her face in the bottom right hand corner of her stream. VTubing opened up that world to her. “I was inspired by Zentreya,” she explained. “My first [VTuber] stream that I saw on Twitch two years ago, [it] was so small. I had never heard of it before. I was browsing Just Chatting and I saw an anime girl and I’m like ‘what’s going on?’ “It was mind blowing — the technology, and being an anime character was so cool. I watched for a bit and I loved her, she’s my longest sub; and holy sh*t, people always said I sounded ‘anime’, I like anime, so let’s give it a try. That’s what happened. I followed the footsteps of Zen.” It gave her stream more personal flair, something that previously wasn’t possible with just her voice. She got to work in creating her own model — a white-haired anime girl in a pink sweater — and brought herself onto the screen for the first time in April 2020. It was an instant hit. Her stream went from 100-odd average viewers to thousands. Part of that was the model, but the other half was how viral she went in Japan. There was this fascination with Veibae in the Japanese community unlike nearly any other English VTuber at the time. It made for some interesting streams as she tried to tackle the language barrier as chat scrolled past at the speed of light in a dialect she couldn’t really speak. “When I started VTubing, I got clipped by a Japanese YouTuber [Shinji] and suddenly all of my viewers were Japanese,” she laughed. “I could not read my chat, but they loved it. “Every time I tried to speak Japanese like ‘ohayo’, saying hello to them, they’d be like ‘Vei-chan, the best!’ They were trying so hard to speak English, and I was trying so hard to speak Japanese to them, and they loved it.” It was like getting thrown into the deep end in essence, but Veibae swam. As time went on, her English audience grew. Kanji slowly swapped to roman letters, making it a bit easier for the VTuber to connect to her audience. She could suddenly see ‘herself’ on stream, and it changed her outlook on everything. There’s the obvious points everyone talks about — privacy, being able to manifest a perfect persona with the right model – but it’s also a way of building confidence to be more yourself. This journey of self discovery hasn’t been easy, and the usually bashful streamer had an air of sincerity in her voice as she reflected on her journey. “I have crazy social anxiety,” she admitted. “I am not comfortable on camera at all. “However, since VTubing I’ve been a lot more outgoing and I’m even considering streaming with a camera at this point because of how much VTubing has pushed me to grow as a person. I know it’s the same for a lot of other streamers because VTubers are socially anxious and it just helps combat that.” This confidence has also allowed her to expand her content repetoire. Instead of just chatting to just her viewers, Veibae has trying to climb out of her social shell and reach out to more people to collab with — and maybe lean into her creative side a bit more. “I enjoy doing Dungeons & Dragons with my VTuber friends,” Vei explained. “We’ve done two campaigns, and that was a lot of fun. That’s what inspired me to get into roleplay more. “I was very anti-lore when I started VTubing, I just wanted to be known as a content creator. Then I did DND and I was like ‘roleplay is not cringe, it’s actually really cool.’ It helps immerse people if they want to be immersed into what some VTubers offer. Some roleplay heavily and they’re like ‘I’m this terrifying monster and I’m going to devour you’ — they never break character and that’s impressive in its own way. Now after DND, I respect that so much.” How streamers and VTubers are different, but ultimately the same This all comes back around to a point where VTubers and streamers diverged early on, but as time goes on the normalization of the virtual space has seen a convergence of opinion. Once upon a time, VTubers’ successes were dismissed by the fact they were just a cute avatar on stream baiting for views and not actually creating quality content. However, as someone who has done it all, Veibae sees no difference in approach. “People think you’re successful because you have an anime character on your stream, and that is just not true. That can be applied to literally any streamer with a camera on. It’s not a thing,” she stated. “VTubers get the most smack for it, where the only reason we’re big is because we have a model. VTubers have a very unique personality where everyone is fun and outgoing and they put a lot of effort and bubbliness into their stream. When you click onto their stream, they always try really hard to be funny and entertaining. There’s stuff going on and content being planned. I can’t think of a single VTuber who can go on stream and just not talk. They can’t be quiet. “You click on a stream and want to be entertained though, so I really do think that VTubers are like any other streamer and their success comes from their personality and not their model.” The technology has advanced so far in such a short time that the medium is more taxing and consuming than just turning on your camera and setting off on your streaming adventure. The constant innovation has pushed VTubers to improve on each other’s successes, much like how streamers are praised for pushing boundaries. Veibae is quite proud of how her stream quality has catapulted into the future over time: “My rig can do so much. It fully tracks my face because it’s based on 3D tracking, so if I frown or smirk or stick my tongue out, it gets translated. Everything I do in real life, it shows on my model.” However, a flashy model isn’t going to make you any more impressive a streamer than the next VTuber. In fact, it doesn’t take a good model to make it far in the industry. What matters is having the personality and creativity that entices people to stick around. “I think people going into VTubing want to spend too much money to have something that’s good in their mind. A lot of people just start as a picture though, and that’s still something — the PNGTubers. There’s not a high barrier of entry, but there’s a stigma to comparing yourself to a model that’s high-class and advanced because it’s not attainable for everybody. “The more money that goes into it, the higher quality the output. It’s not necessarily better though, it’s just different. Just start as a picture if you want to start VTubing, people will watch you for you. “You could have the most expensive model, but if you don’t have anything that goes with it — like personality or good content — nobody will stay for the model. There’s not many people fully focused on just that aspect.” From succubus to serpent When I spoke to Veibae, it was just in the aftermath of her redebut. She had retired the succubus model she used since joining VShojo in April 2021, and came out with a completely new outfit and lore as a sky serpent. Much to her slightly ‘anti-lore’ beginnings she only really described herself as “a sky serpent that controls weather, and that’s pretty much it,” but the wild shift from part-demon to basically part-angel was one of the most drastic. It was a very involved process too — one that she’d rather not have to go through again, she joked. “I never want to debut ever again! When you have a debut, people always expect so much out of it and you feel pressured to make it better than the one before. “I was planning it eight months in advance because the amount of work that goes into it — it’s not just getting the model. I had to get new overlays, emotes, alerts, animations, art, rig, model, a lore video — I’ve never voice acted before — music, sound tracks. There’s so much that goes into a debut and there’s so much stress that goes with the expectations of wanting to make people excited for it. “When you debut a new model, there are people who get attached to the old model and you don’t want to come on stream and have a model they will compare to the old one. You need to convince them that the new one is better even though there might be an art change or it’s different. With such a drastic shift in her model, there was a fear in the back of her mind that fans wouldn’t like the change. However, after a slight delay due to family issues, her April 20 redebut was her most well-received stream yet. More than 30,000 viewers watched on as she revealed her outfit from the toes up, with raucous applause in chat. She also integrated a lot of little features to make sure there was something for everyone watching along. Not one to be stuck in one form, she has a bunch of different props to keep things interesting: “I’ve got cat ears, bunny ears, things to spice things up and make it fun for people. “I just like to do things that are fun for me, I’m not really lore-heavy. If they don’t like the horns on my sky serpent model, they can like the cat ears, or the bunny ears, or a hat.” By far the most intense part of Veibae’s debut was her lore video. Everyone always said she had the “anime” voice, but the 14 minute special gave her a chance to show that off to tell her own story. It was a “crazy” time though, she reflected. They had the model waiting to debut, and the lore video was the final piece of the puzzle. It had to be done quickly, and Merryweathery pulled it all together in a collaborative process that connected Veibae’s new story to the people that mean the world to her — her friends. Cameos from Snuffy, Haruka Karibu, Nyanners, Silvervale, Ironmouse, Bubi, and more really tied it all together, and made it the most memorable experience of it all. “I’ve always wanted to get into voice acting but I’ve never had the opportunity to. VShojo came to me with the idea that I could do this and I was like ‘oh my God’ and my coworkers did theirs [Ironmouse] and it turned out amazing,” Vei explained. “When I started mine I was very stressed because I’d never done something of that scale before and I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. I didn’t want to do a bad dub, pulling a Death Note Netflix animation, so I tried to make it as natural and close to my stream as possible. I think it went well.” It was also those friends, and the rest of the VShojo, that have kept pushing Vei forward to be herself in this space. “I’ve grown so much with these girls,” she said through tears. “We went through so much together, they’re literally family. “When you’re a streamer, there’s a lot of organizations that reach out to you just to join and be a content creator. It’s nothing like that in VShojo. When I joined, they were instantly family. Everyone is always there for you, no matter what. Even if you want to do something together, there’s movie nights we have. We’d jump into VRChat to hang out. We always do things together. “It’s not so much as having a collab with people, you want to be there and you want to spend time with your friends and I think that’s why people enjoy us on stream because it’s all natural.” Surviving the boom and trailblazing the future Beyond the screen, Veibae has come a long way as a person since starting as a streamer in the mid-2010s. VTubing is where she’s found her home, and in essence found herself. It’s been a wild two years, especially with the ‘boom’ of 2020 seeing an explosion of talent, but the serpent believes VTubing hasn’t even reached its peak and likely “never will”. “Back then, Zen was one of maybe 10. Then I came along, and now everyone is a VTuber. Even people who aren’t really interested in being one full-time are still a VTuber — Pokimane has a model. The legacy streamers on Twitch became VTubers because people love them,” she said. “The boom happened in 2020, which makes sense because people were at home. Now… people are going on with their lives and that was a big worry for a lot of content creators. Everybody boomed in their viewership in 2020 and I know I was worried that once everybody went back to work or school that I might not have the viewers that I had, but I still do.” As everyone will say, technology is constantly improving. The VTubing industry is such a rapidly growing space that every day there’s seemingly some new bit of kit to help people start out or truly elevate their streams. It’s still got a lot of unrealized potential. That has Veibae excited – but it’s not everything. VTubing is a lot more than just pixels on a screen. It’s an opportunity to express ourselves in the ways we’ve always wanted. Veibae can finally see herself as the person she wanted to be, and get that perfect ending walking off into the sunset like a cheesy anime. “I’m excited, excited to be a full time anime girl. I don’t plan on stopping.”

Veibae hits back at outrage for using slur during debut stream as indie Vtuber – Dexerto
Veibae hits back at outrage for using slur during debut stream as indie Vtuber VeibaePopular indie Vtuber Veibae has come under heavy criticism after using an ableist slur on stream to address her fans. Veibae has responded to backlash, stating “I never claimed my stream to be a safe space.” Veibae has begun her new adventure as an indie Vtuber after leaving VShojo on April 26. She made the decision over concerns that the contract offered by VShojo wasn’t up to her standards. It’s standard practice for Vtubers to re-debut after leaving an agency regardless of if they keep their character or not. It’s an opportunity to start over and gain some attention in the community. However, the language used toward the end of Veibae’s indie debut stream angered some fans, especially after Vei defended her use of the word. Vtuber fans criticize Veibae over the use of slur In the final few minutes of her indie debut stream held on May 21, Veibae said goodbye to her fans but didn’t stick to using a standard farewell message. Instead, the indie Vtuber said: “See you later… What do I call you guys now? Can I say virgin on Twitch? I feel like virgin is banned but retards is not. So see you later, retards!” This upset many in the Vtuber community with one member responding: “Damn Veibae really did sling out a slur as soon as she f**kin left VShojo. Thought she was like improving as a person but it’s clear just that VShojo was probably just like ‘Hey maybe don’t use slurs’ and now that she’s free and independent she can use slurs now.” Another response reads: “Veibae saying the R slur for shits and giggles is so disappointing. You’re not edgy, you’re not funny, you ARE a c*nt.” Veibae responds to slur backlash Following the backlash Veibae would go on to defend herself. The Ex-VShojo member said: “I never claimed my stream to be a safe space. It is not and it never has been. I’ve streamed since 2017, get the f**k out. I’m not your therapist and I’m not going to babysit you.” The Special Olympics states: “Spreading the R-word continues to hurt people with intellectual disabilities—and whether intended or not, is a form of bullying. Using the R-word is the same as using any slur against a minority group. Eliminating this word is a step toward respect for all.” Veibae is not the first Vtuber to get into trouble over the use of certain words. Nijisanji EN member Kotoka Torahime had to apologize after using a slur that she was unaware of due to her cultural background.

How four top indie VTubers found family in VchiBan – Dexerto
How four top indie VTubers found family in VchiBan Supplied: VchiBanVchiBan didn’t necessarily burst onto the scene like most VTuber groups. You could have maybe read between the lines and expected its creation. However what they’re doing is anything but ordinary, pushing VTubing innovation to its limits. VchiBan‘s roots, you could say, were set in early 2020. The quartet of once-independent VTubers were known to each other in some capacity before then. Shia and Buffpup had been friends for years, having gotten into streaming together. Rosedoodle, being an early adopter of VTubing, got involved in Buff’s circle by osmosis. But there was also AiCandii. The Australian streamer only moved into VTubing at the start of 2020 — much later than the other three — but had a mutual connection to Buff. So when they were invited to a New Year’s VRChat party, they took the opportunity to actually make a formal introduction. It… didn’t go all that smoothly. “I was like ‘oh, I’m going to say hi, this person always talked highly of Buff,’” Candii reflected. “So I walked up to her and she was in her little orange dog model, and I was like ‘oh hi! Nice to meet you!’ “And she was like ‘do you want a picture?’ And I was like ‘yeah sure?’” The four of them exploded into raucous laughter at the memory, before Buff quickly jumped in to defend herself. “Not only was I drunk, but I was under other influences because it was New Year’s Eve! I have an excuse. I literally just got off from talking with 10 people who wanted photos.” Candii continued the story: “So we took photos together and I think you were like ‘also this is Shia’ and Shia was like ‘yeah…’ I kind of walked off and was like ‘alright.’ We didn’t really talk much after that.” But from there, the connection was set. Shortly afterward, Buff and Rose were setting up a Gartic Phone collaboration, and Candii came up as a candidate — after they made an impression for being “so cool” at that party. The projects racked up from there, and it was the start of a journey together, converging the separate and sometimes lonely paths before. The found family Before VchiBan, each of its members were outstanding independent content creators in their own right. All have been on Twitch for more than five plus years. In the case of Shia and Buff, it’s been a decade or so. They were all early adopters of VTubing too. Rose got into VTubing in 2018 after a long stint as a faceless entity with “blasty music and an art program”, just streaming her commissions to the world. “I saw someone on YouTube using a Live2D model,” she mused. “They were not very advanced back then, but its mouth moved and I was like ‘I want to do that! I want to be anime!’ “Me and my husband, we made a very janky Live2D model, we started using it, and people on Twitch back in 2018 didn’t know what VTubers were, so they were like ‘how are you an anime girl?! Is this a real person?!’” The story got a laugh out of all, because of how closely that interaction ties with their own initial experiences starting as early VTubing adopters. Buff did a similar thing and got a similar reaction, just as a cartoon dog, and Shia was sick of face cam streaming so he too got a model (initially designed by Buff). However that also fosters a sense of camaraderie and community. And so when Candii joined the fray in 2020 and got closer with the aforementioned trio, the found family started to form. “We were just sharing memes and whatever,” Buff reflected. “We always did collabs, and it was funny because everyone in chat recognized us as family. Any time we would all hang out, they’d be like ‘family!’ “It was like the Vin Diesel meme,” Rose chimed in. “They started doing that, and made little emotes of our little boneless models doing a bounce and saying ‘family!’” It is one thing to constantly collab and interact on socials and behind closed doors. It’s another to take the plunge and put faith into your friends to go on a professional journey. A failed project led to the four coming together more officially in November 2022. They were close friends. They bounced off each other well on stream, and they were already doing the cutesy cross-promotion. They each filled a different skills void — similar enough to work well together, but unique in their own rights to not step on each other’s toes. Buff, Rose, and Candii have art backgrounds; the latter also excels at graphic design and writing. Shia loves ARG and broader game development. And they all wanted to push their skills further. “We were bummed about it,” Buff said. “We were sitting there and Candii was like ‘we should just do it,’ and I was like ‘okay!’” Such VTuber groups, bringing together independent talents under a unified banner, have become more prevalent in recent times. Previously it was just agencies: you’d debut under an agency, who in more cases than not would own all rights to the character you played. Stream teams were a thing, but often very informal. VchiBan’s establishment six months ago was seemingly a catalyst for this change though, and there was good reason for it. Together, they could actually get more done to achieve their individual goals. “When you’re a content creator approaching companies as an individual, it’s difficult to get in the door,” Candii explained. “A lot of companies will specify they only work with agencies rather than individuals. “So we presented ourselves similarly to how agencies might.” It was originally just the four of them, but slowly the ambitions racked up — and so did the headcount. There were animators, then there were merch assistants, and then managers. “We had so many people in this Discord group, and at this point, I realized I had accidentally made a mini-studio with my best friends,” Buff said. “We didn’t know what was going on. We just started doing stuff and having meetings every Wednesday. It got to the point where we had checklists of stuff, and it was legit meetings. We would sit there for 8 hours.” There was a different air around VchiBan from the very beginning, long before it was even called that. Most projects are very short-lived in content creation, and usually there’s discussion on what the end looks like before even starting. None of VchiBan’s quartet felt that way though. They wanted to make this work for the long run: for their content, for their friendship. “Me, personally, I would get weird vibes like ‘this won’t work,’” Candii explained. “But with VchiBan, there wasn’t really a time where I got cold feet because of how passionate Rose, Buff, and Shia are. “I said at one point, and maybe this is too hoity-toity, it felt like a marriage. It is marrying our content together, and we all work to strengthen each other, and if there are things we can’t do individually, we’ll build it together in the interest of the relationship and lifting each other up. “We’re always just looking for ways we can do more things in the space that isn’t just streamed content, like events, cons and meet and greets.” It was also something they could properly own together: “In previous projects, there were too many things out of our hands, and we wanted control over all of it,” Shia said. “We have our hands on every aspect of it. “We work well as a team because we recognize each other, and we know each other very well, and I think that’s a plus on our side because if we didn’t, we wouldn’t work as smoothly as we have.” But even with all that being said, friendship trumps all. If VchiBan was to end tomorrow (spoiler alert: not the case), it wouldn’t be because of a personal falling out. The four would rather preserve their relationship than push through and burn it all out professionally. This was emphasized by Candii as a need for anyone looking to create their own VTuber group. “If there’s ever been points of tension… we’re very accountable and present with each other. We even said, in a hypothetical scenario where VchiBan doesn’t stay together, our friendship is paramount over everything else.” A chance to Meet Your Oshi? VchiBan being together means they can collaboratively work on bigger projects than they’d imagine individually. And while it’s one thing to talk the talk, it’s another thing to walk the walk. That brings us to Meet Your Oshi. It’s a Five Nights At Freddy’s-inspired fan game tied to the release of the hit franchise’s movie in October. VchiBan’s stars play the main four animatronic oshis you so desire to meet, and there will be cameos from friends too. “The whole idea is you’re going to a convention to meet your oshi, but you’re breaking in early so you can print out tickets,” Candii stated. Fan games have taken a hold of VTubing, but games made by the VTubers themselves — or their company — rarely exist outside of a few projects. NIJISANJI’s Pomu Rainpuff and Selen Tatsuki led the production of the Detective Pomu and the Tatsuki Manor Mystery game. Hololive created horror game ERROR featuring a glut of their Japanese stars, and are working on a metaverse project called Holoearth. For independent or smaller groups though, games are just out of the scope of what they can create. VchiBan is different though, given Shia’s background. But beyond that, they also have the determination to prove VTubers in any situation can create innovative content. “We wanted to do other things other than debuting all the time,” Buff said. “We wanted to look at the space, or the outside perspective of where we can implement things we want to do. “Shia made an analog horror game which all of our friends played. Everyone enjoyed it and had fun, and they noted it was cool to see their friends in the game. Shia was really nervous about it and very critical of himself, but everyone had a ton of fun, and that was before we did VchiBan. “So when we were tossing around thinking of what we could do next, Shia was like ‘I have this game I started and I want to continue working on it’ and I was like ‘that’s what we’re doing next.’” Five Nights at Freddy’s was easy inspiration for Shia and the rest of VchiBan. It is a bit of a cult classic in the content space. Horror is also a particular passion of Shia, noting his previous game. But bringing it to life was a bit more complex than what he had done previously. “There’s so many fan-made FNAF games. I don’t care how mainstream or big it is, I love it. There’s so many spinoff games that are questionable to amazing. “I mentioned that to Candii and they were instantly like ‘gasp, ooh I like that idea.’ Immediately, without thinking of any kind of semblance to the game, I modeled out an environment that would be fun for that. “That sat there for like a year, until only a couple of months ago where we made the choice when Candii was visiting. The new FNAF movie was coming out and I was like ‘why don’t we start working on it?’ I started talking to Candii and said ‘I could probably program it, I’m not too worried about it.’ I’m worried more about it now that I’m in it. It works! It’s alright! But that was only a couple of months ago when we were like ‘let’s pick that back up.’” Shia got his community to sneakily fund the modeling software he lost access to under the guise of wanting to work on more side projects. They also outsourced some of the game’s elements to other members or outside of VchiBan entirely. And with Buff having too much of “the ‘too much’ gene,” it became more than just dropping an itch.io link with a full merch line and other side projects tied to Meet Your Oshi. However the project has been kept very tightly under wraps, outside of a few teasers in the lead-up. “I was like ‘okay now that we’re making a game, we have to come up with merch and PR kits and this and that.’ It becomes a huge amalgamation of what the f**k. Shia was like ‘I just want to come out with a cute game’ and I was like ‘no, it has to be the coolest thing ever.’” Before you ask, yes Sawcon was considered as a name. Rose was the biggest proponent of the easy joke, “but there was already a fake website for one though so we didn’t want to deal with that.” Jokes aside, all of VchiBan is excited to see how people react to Meet Your Oshi. Except maybe Shia, who is too nervous to see his game play out to thousands on Twitch. “When Shia did the game last time, it was so cool to see everyone’s reactions, good or bad,” Buff added. “Mouse playing it was so funny. Because she’s one of our best friends, it was funny to watch her scream and be like ‘oh my God, that’s me!’ “That’s my favorite part — and this game will have it too — where we include our friends. It’s always fun to see people react to their presence. Everyone is there to enjoy it and have a fun time. You don’t see this happen a lot in this space, so when someone does it, it feels like a community of everyone being like ‘woah look at this cool thing the community made.’” Expanding VTubing’s creativity The creative projects aren’t ending with Meet Your Oshi for VchiBan. The group is already working on a second game — which is already made but pending artwork. But they aren’t just going to become the game development VTubers. They want to capitalize on all the mediums VTubing affords. It’s a trend being seen across the virtual world. NIJISANJI’s Vox Akuma just released a 55 minute feature film featuring top voice actors, tied to a new model debut. That was a first for the industry. Then you’ve got a VTuber card game being made by Japanime Games. Called Oshi Push, they’ve already announced some of Phase Connect’s biggest talents as playable cards, and there’s an open form inviting VTubers to join them. You could also argue Astraline’s pickup of Fredrik Knudsen and Nick Nocturne, two of YouTube’s premiere long-form video creators, taps into a new niche for VTubing. These are just three of many fields VTubers are expanding into. And VchiBan wants to keep pushing that envelope. “One thing we all agree on is looking outside of the space as well,” Candii stated. “Introducing new ingredients from outside of VTubing is how you innovate. You need to look at what your peers are doing, but also what’s not being done and where there’s areas you can expand into. Rose agreed, noting how tiring it is to feel confined to a singular meta: “I’m not going to name names or be too specific, but there’s a lot of groups or people who do the same five merch items, the same formats. They follow patterns people feel like they are tied to, and we’re all tired of that…” Because all of VchiBan’s members have been in content creation for such a long time, keeping it fresh is important to keep it interesting. “We’re at the point of getting sick of being led around,” Buff continued. “We want to lead and do things. There’s been opportunities we’ve had individually, but it’s been people bringing it to us. It’s time for us to make the opportunities for ourselves. “Even if it’s hard and we stay up late grinding, it’s worth it in the end because not only are we doing something we like doing, we’re very creative people so it fills that gap of wanting to be creative. You can only debut so many times before you feel like you’re not creative anymore and getting sick of it.” And, as has been harped on about through this hour-long call, formally joining forces fosters this creativity in ways they couldn’t imagine doing solo. Their different skill sets complement each other, and while it can be a lot of behind the scenes work to juggle on top of VTubing, the result is worth the effort. They can rely on each other professionally and personally. Candii likened it to being “the lil husband going and doing his job, in the mines doing stuff for my family.” If there’s some graphics to do, Candii will do it. Same goes for art in Buff or Rose’s corner. It makes it seem like everything is achievable as long as they’re together — and they don’t need a big agency to make it work. “The things we can’t do, we have people we know, or people who know people,” Rose continued. “We have this big expansive network of whatever it is we need. Whether it’s animation or games or whatever project we have our mind on, I feel like we could do whatever we want with no end on the horizon. We’re just stubborn.” And at the end of the day, they’re all VTuber viewers too. They’re all fans. They want to make the experience better for everyone across VTubing, whether they’re a streamer or a watcher. Having different points of view, and being inspired by what’s happening in the space, motivates them to keep pushing new creative avenues. “If you love what you’re doing, you have a very different way of looking at it,” Candii said. “You can look at it like ‘what do I want to see? What would be cool as a viewer?’ You can participate with it from different points of view. “I would point to what Buff did once for Valentine’s Day, where you did the dating sim live with chat. Chat could pick different locations, which was improv mixed with chat integration. Stuff like that is really cool. “Shia used to do, and probably still does, ARG elements with debuts. He had a puzzle once with runes and things, and people had to decode it. He makes little apps. For one of Buff’s debuts, he made a moon that was rising as chat was spamming a command.” VchiBan might not be host to “the next innovative big idea.” Things pop up on a weekly basis, such as the VirtualFace app all over Twitter. But by being on the forefront of innovation, pushing the needle and looking at what VTubing can become, VchiBan can maybe motivate others to pursue the idea they’ve been thinking of. “In the VTubing space, there’s a lot of tech that’s been developed,” Candii continued. “And the more money and people there, there’s going to be more innovation. Getting more people into VTubing, getting more creativity and more backgrounds [is important].” The future of VTuber groups When asked about what got VchiBan’s members individually into VTubing, most (except Candii) wanted the camaraderie and community. That is still their primary goal, and that’s ultimately the catalyst for a project like theirs. “A lot of people go into VTubing to talk to people and make friends,” Buff mused. “That’s the objective. Sometimes people lose that objective on the way, and that’s not a bad thing, but people forget the core reason of why they started. “I was the type of person that never talked to anybody, and the only person I spoke to was Shia. I got to a point where I was like ‘I can’t continue living like this, I have to do something.’” Even if it wasn’t their initial goal like Candii’s, it certainly became a healthy byproduct: “At the point I started VTubing, I had no friends and I hadn’t had friends for many years. I [have] found people I care about and I’ve become a better person. I became more myself. Less the person I had been twisted up into, and more the person I actually am.” VchiBan is a testament you can have your cake and eat it too. Don’t get it twisted; each of VchiBan’s members were successful independently before joining forces. But even in those isolated journeys, they didn’t set aside their friends in the quest for growth and fame. It was quite the opposite — when it came to take the next step, they leaned on each other. “I remember at one point, we had one of our meetings and Rose mentioned ‘holy crap, this is so much work,’” Shia reflected. Not a bad thing, just we stepped back and realized. “Even on the professional side of figuring out all the heavy lifting that comes with creating a group, and the interconnected relationships we have with each other growing stronger because that’s what is necessary, it happens naturally.” It could have gone different; Candii was in a stream team years ago, but that wasn’t meant to be a serious project. That’s okay in its own right. VchiBan’s members all agree there should be more groups in VTubing, whether they be casual stream teams or more formal entities. It doesn’t always have to be agencies and glamor, it can just be friends getting together and gunning for a shared purpose. Their journey wasn’t an easy one, but when is content creation ever easy? “I wish everybody could have that experience of creating a group,” Shia continued. “One of our main reasons for starting the group was showing we could do it, and do what we want in whatever capacity with an emphasis on quality. That’s in every aspect.” “We’ve had this conversation so many times, but we’re all still here, so we’ve obviously decided that it is worth it in some capacity,” Buff added. “Where I sit now, I’m very happy we all stuck through it and worked so hard to get to where we are. Now it feels like, after the launch of VchiBan, we can do anything.”

Veibae explains VShojo exit amid rumors of falling out with other members – Dexerto
Veibae explains VShojo exit amid rumors of falling out with other members VeibaeVeibae has explained her decision to leave VShojo, claiming that staying at the Vtuber agency “didn’t make financial sense,” and that her exit has nothing to do with her relationship with other talents. On April 26, it was announced that both Veibae and Silvervale are no longer part of VShojo after choosing to let their contracts expire. This announcement was followed by Silvervale going on stream and making comments about Ironmouse, VShojo’s most followed member. These comments led the Vtuber community to question if internal issues with other VShojo members was a factor in their decision, but Veibae has insisted otherwise. Veibae shuts down suggestions that internal issues led to VShojo exit Veibae has insisted that her exit from VShojo has nothing to do with other talents. On Twitter, the popular Vtuber said that the decision was purely business related as staying “didn’t make any financial sense.” Responded to her original announcement, Vei said: “Since this post got so much traction and people are speculating as to why I have left and blaming other talents for it — it’s nothing like that at all. I left because the new contract didn’t make any financial sense to me.” She continued: “I can’t speak for Silver because we didn’t leave together, we were just announced on the same day. I can’t say much else because of legal sh*t ‘n stuff but please be kind to everyone involved. Don’t make weird rumors up to control ur made-up narrative. TL;DR: I left cuz new contract no gud.” Veibae was prompted to make this response after various members and fans of the Vtuber community had speculated on her exit. She rounded off the statement by offering advice encouraging indie talents to hire a lawyer before signing any contract: “For all indies, always hire a lawyer to read through any contract, however minor it may seem. I know it’s a scary process to think about but you’ll be so fuckin thankful down the line.”

Vase found at Goodwill by woman worth over $100,000 – Dexerto
Vase found at Goodwill by woman worth over $100,000 TikTok: abcworldnewsA woman found a vase at the Goodwill that was worth over $100,000. She later revealed how the lucky find “saved” her life. One person’s trash is another’s treasure, as Goodwill shopper Jessica Vincent made a luxurious find at the popular second-hand store. Though she bought the item, a vase, at $3.99, she later sold it at an auction for over $100,000. Vincent has since opened up about how finding the vase saved her life. Vase found at Goodwill was made in the 1940s by Italian glass maker Carlo Scarpa After a day of training horses, Vincent did her typical Goodwill shopping and stumbled across a glass-blown vase that she couldn’t help but buy after finding the stamps “Murano” and “Italia” on the bottom. When she got home after buying it for less than $5.00, Vincent took to Facebook to find more information about her find. Friends of hers had recommended she join the private Murano Glass group, so that’s exactly what she did. After posting pictures of the vase in the group, she found out that it was made by Italian glass maker, Carlo Scarpa. Not only that, but the vase was a relic, having been part of a 1940s series called the “Pennellate.” Vincent then got “chills” when she found out exactly how rare of a find she made, as one Facebook group member told her, “Those are very rare. Every collector would love to have that. But most people cannot afford them.” Vincent was eventually referred to the proper person who could lead her to an auction that would come to sell the Italian vase for $107,100. After the total sale, Vincent made $83,000. When Vincent opened up with People about her experience, she said, “I saved the vase and the vase saved me,” later revealing that her farm home had no heat before she sold the prized piece. Vincent also expressed her shock, saying, “Could I have really just bought a masterpiece at Goodwill?” As for where the money will go, Vincent works with rescue horses and plans to help them even more than she was before. She’s even thinking about getting a dishwasher for her farm home as well.

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval “beyond disappointed” after wellness resort leaks his visit Instagram: @tomsandoval1Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules is now taking to social media to call out a wellness resort in Arizona. Tom Sandoval has been under public scrutiny for several weeks after it was revealed that he cheated on his long-term girlfriend, Ariana Madrix, with their Vanderpump Rules co-star, Raquel Leviss. On the heels of a very controversial podcast appearance with Howie Mandel, Tom recently stayed at the Miraval wellness resort in Arizona in an effort to stay out of the public eye… but, apparently, it did not turn out that way. What did Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules say about Miraval? According to Sandoval, the resort leaked the fact that he was staying at the retreat on their social media accounts. He is now accusing them of invading his privacy and going against the brand’s values. The reality TV star took to his Instagram story and wrote, “They claim to be a refuge for wellness and betterment. But that is obviously false. They’d rather feed into the negativity and spectacle that has engulfed my life.” While the resort did not reference Tom directly, Miraval did share an Instagram post where they quoted a lyric from the Vanderpump Rules theme song. The post has now been deleted, but some fans were able to screenshot it off of Tom’s Instagram story. He then referenced his breakup drama with Ariana and wrote, “Regardless of where you stand in all this, we all deserve the chance to work and be better.” Tom is set to appear in an already-filmed Vanderpump Rules reunion with Ariana and Raquel in the coming weeks. Are they still friends after the “Scandoval”? The entire Vanderpump Rules cast was pushed into the spotlight after the “Scandoval” between Tom, Ariana, and Raquel. Outside of the aftermath between the former couple, Tom’s cheating scandal might have cost him a long-term friendship. He and co-star James Kennedy have been close friends since James joined the original cast member in Season 2 of the series. You know, you got two brothers that really, like, grew up on a show together and … it’s just, like, a kind of a backstabbing kind of move. Vanderpump Rules’ Raquel claims Tom “guilt tripped” her over mental health struggles – Dexerto
Vanderpump Rules’ Raquel claims Tom “guilt tripped” her over mental health struggles Instagram: rachelleviss / Instagram: tomsandoval1Vanderpump Rules’ Raquel has revealed she will “never be friends again” with Tom after he shamed her mental health treatment following their affair. The Vanderpump Rules cast and viewers alike were shocked when “innocent” Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss was revealed to have had a secret affair with Tom Sandoval, despite him still being in a committed relationship with Ariana Madix at the time. Following “Scandoval” and the end of Tom and Ariana’s relationship, Raquel briefly dated her affair partner before the two called it quits. Now, Raquel is looking to distance herself from the reality TV show and the scandal that saw her drop from her co-stars’ graces. In the February 2 episode of her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, Raquel discussed where she stands with Tom following her departure from the show. And it turns out there is very little chance of these two ever becoming friends again after Raquel revealed Tom “guilt tripped” her mental health struggles and treatment. After the pair’s affair was outed, Raquel decided to work on herself and seek help at The Meadows, a mental health facility. It was during this time that Raquel claims Tom showed his true colors. When asked whether there was any chance of a friendship with Tom, Raquel explained how she felt guilt-tripped during her stay at The Meadows; “If I didn’t reach out to him one day or two days, he would be upset by it and really kind of take out his frustration on me… it made me feel like I had a responsibility to maintain his emotional needs.” She then went on to claim that Tom would shame her for seeking treatment and accused her of letting him face the brunt of the Scandoval backlash. Raquel said, “The amount of times that Tom called me ‘selfish’ while I was in The Meadows and [said I was] ‘running away from my problems’ and I’m ‘depending on this place that’s basically an assisted living facility’ — you know, like really guilt-tripping me and saying that I left him to deal with all the fodder, I’m just running.” “That just reveals the type of person that he is,” Raquel continued, stating how caring for her mental health had become a priority that she wasn’t going to let Tom take away. “There’s no question that Sandoval and I will never be friends again.”

Valorant streamer smashes keyboard after rage-inducing timer glitch – Dexerto
Valorant streamer smashes keyboard after rage-inducing timer glitch Riot Games/PixabayTwitch streamer Skean was so enraged over a glitch in his Valorant match that he took his frustration out on his keyboard, absolutely shattering the helpless computer peripheral. During a May 5 broadcast, Skean’s team found themselves down 10-5 with time ticking down and the streamer in a two-on-one disadvantage. Needing to plant the Spike, the streamer headed towards B in an attempt to clutch the round out, but somehow, time expired before he could even fully place it. It wouldn’t matter anyway as the streamer fell victim to a headshot, but he still noticed the clock acting strangely. In the clip, the timer goes from around 5 seconds down to 3.30 – something Skean noticed and immediately started complaining about. “I swear I saw it at 4.8 and then it switched to like 3.6!” the streamer claimed. “Welcome to Earth where your time is very limited,” one of his teammates suggested, while another theorized he was lagging. For Skean, however, something seemed seriously wrong with the in-game clock. “That timer isn’t okay!” he blasted. “That clock isn’t okay. One-hundred percent something is wrong with that clock.” The annoyance seemed to carry over into the next round as mere seconds into the attack, the Twitch streamer fell victim to a spray of body shots, prompting the man to pound his keyboard into oblivion. After hammering it several times with a closed fist, the angry streamer swore loudly, aggravated by the outcome of the match. As the rest of Skean’s teammates fell, the streamer had no choice but to pick up the keys, which were now scattered across his room to repair the battered keyboard. This isn’t the first time Skean has destroyed his keyboard either. As Dexerto previously reported, the streamer got incredibly tilted while playing Apex Legends and lashed out on the device. With so much smashing, one has to wonder when the streamer will have no choice but to get a new keyboard.

Vanderpump Rules: Are Sandoval and Raquel still together after cheating drama? – Dexerto
Vanderpump Rules: Are Sandoval and Raquel still together after cheating drama? YouTube: BravoTom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss sent a bombshell through the Vanderpump Rules fandom, but are they still together after all the drama? The ordeal known as “Scandoval” has bitterly divided the reality TV world, with many showing their disgust at Sandoval for breaking off his nearly 10-year relationship with fellow cast member Ariana Madix. What made the scandal even more disgusting to fans and cast members alike was the fact that Sandoval apparently cheated with another cast member, Raquel, who herself was just out of an engagement with another friend, James Kennedy. Many other SUR employees – past and present – have given their thoughts about the pair’s affair, and the couple have been under intense scrutiny for weeks. So, have the two managed to stay together amid all the drama? Are Vanderpump Rules’ Sandoval and Raquel still together? Page Six has recently reported that fellow VPR castmate Lala Kent said that she believes that the two are still together when discussing their seating at the upcoming Season 10 reunion show that will be taping soon. “I don’t know if they should [sit next to each other]. They might. I don’t know. They could show up and be, like, fully together.” However, Lala did admit that none of the cast members know for sure whether Sandoval and Raquel are still together and she herself has “no idea.” This mystery as to the couple’s relationship status has fueled speculation online about how the issue will be addressed, if it is addressed at all, in the reunion show. According to reports, the affair had been going for six months before Ariana discovered an explicit video of Raquel on Sandoval’s phone. The discovery elicited strong responses not only from fellow castmates and fans, but even from stars of other Bravo reality shows.

Valorant pro SicK moves to Kick and threatens to sue Twitch over two-week ban – Dexerto
Valorant pro SicK moves to Kick and threatens to sue Twitch over two-week ban COLIN YOUNG-WOLFF/RIOT GAMESFormer Sentinels Valorant star Hunter ‘SicK’ Mimms has threatened to sue Twitch after being hit with a two-week ban – and he’s already started streaming on Kick. After getting into the professional ranks of CS’GO back in 2015, it took a few years for SicK to make his mark on the international stage. After a run with the likes of Misfits, Rogue, and Complexity, he found himself slightly in the wilderness playing for Chaos. Like a number of CS:GO pros at the time, once Valorant became an option, SicK transitioned over there in mid-2020 – joining up with the Sentinels squad, where he’s been for three years. Though, the last year of that has been as an inactive player, taking a break due to his mental health, but remaining as a substitute if called upon. However, the last few weeks have been turbulent for him. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing on March 4, after getting into a confrontation at a Ferrari dealership. That resulted in a short jail spell. He’s also been hit with bans from Twitch amid, what former teammates have called, “erratic” behavior. SicK threatens to sue Twitch after getting two-week ban Well, the former CS:GO and Valorant pro has been banned from Twitch once again, this time for two weeks, and now he’s threatening to sue the Amazon-owned platform. “I have been banned from Twitch again … for two weeks. Not really sure what I did wrong this time but I won’t allow it,” he tweeted on May 23, urging Twitch to “help” with the situation. “I genuinely did nothing wrong this time. I’m not going to take a two-week ban, might have to sue Twitch if it stays this way.” Mims also suggested he’d stream on the Stake-backed Kick platform in the meantime, which is something he has actually followed through on. While that was, at first, mooted as just an alternative, he has stated that he’ll stay on Kick if his Twitch ban doesn’t get resolved. It remains to be seen what’ll happen, though.

Sentinels star TenZ & Kyedae are officially tying the knot – Dexerto
Sentinels star TenZ & Kyedae are officially tying the knot Twitter: Kyedae/MarcheIn a recent Twitter post, TenZ and Kyedae publicly announced their engagement, sparking an outpouring of celebrations for the Valorant power couple. Sentinels Valorant player Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo and popular Valorant Twitch streamer Kyedae ‘Kyedae’ Shymko celebrated their three-year anniversary by publicly sharing news of their engagement — which actually occurred eight months prior. Having grown into of the most famous Valorant couples on the internet, fans have watched them grow as content creators, players, and most of all, as soul mates. Despite their well-publicized relationship, they’ve created boundaries for what they like to share — closely controlling PR to maintain their personal lives. The two likely wanted to enjoy their engagement privately before being overwhelmed by congratulatory posts from the community. Within literal minutes of posting, the esports and streaming community blew up with wedding fever. Many content creators and professional players have all chimed in with congratulatory responses. 100 Thieves Valorant Player Peter ‘Asuna’ Mazuryk commented “Congrats, you two deserve one another.” But other reactions showed some elements of jealousy, all in good fun with a humorous tone. Gen.G Twitch Streamer Jessica Kim skips the congratulations and goes right to asking Twitter “where my hubby at,” a rather common reaction from many others within the community. YouTube content creator WestJett posted on Twitter: “Huge W for TenZ getting engaged. The first ever Valorant player to do so,” poking fun at all others in the scene. The announcement of TenZ and Kyedae’s engagement is taking the internet by storm. But without any official details, there’s no telling when or where their wedding will take place. Or perhaps it’s all been set in stone already — and they’re simply opting for another private affair.

Valorant pro s0m swatted as armed police crash Twitch stream while family asleep – Dexerto
Valorant pro s0m swatted as armed police crash Twitch stream while family asleep Twitter / Twitch: s0mFormer NRG Valorant player Sam ‘s0m’ Oh has called out whatever “genuinely horrible person” was responsible, after a swatting attack took place at his home in the early morning, as his family was sleeping. Swatting is an illegal and dangerous prank, often targeted at livestreamers, where the perpetrator phones the police and falsely reports a serious incident, hoping to prompt an armed response to the property. Historically, swatting incidents have resulted in serious injury and even death, as armed police can believe they are entering a dangerous situation, which is entirely made up. On January 4, s0m revealed that he had been the victim of a swatting, which targeted where he was staying with family. Police arrive on s0m’s Twitch stream Usually, swatting is done when a streamer is live, so that the moment can be captured on stream. s0m had been streaming in the early hours when police arrived. A clip of the incident shows an officer entering his streaming room with what appears to be a shotgun. “Swatted at 6:30AM while my whole family is sleeping,” s0m said on X/Twitter. “Actually ridiculous.” “To whoever did this you are genuinely a horrible person, swatting is not a joke and puts people’s lives at risk,” he added. Despite the incident, he did confirm he would return to streaming later, undeterred by the swatter. Often, once police recognize that it was a false alarm, arrangements will be made with the streamer to confirm if calls are genuine in case of future swatting attempts. Some of the biggest streamers in the world, like xQc, have revealed that they will be swatted almost daily, forcing them to move address.

#ValkyraeSupport trends on Twitter after Rust stream comes to abrupt end – Dexerto
#ValkyraeSupport trends on Twitter after Rust stream comes to abrupt end YouTube: ValkyraeUPDATE (12/28 – 3:00 PM EST) – Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has announced that she’ll be returning to streaming a day after abruptly ending her YouTube broadcast on December 27, which led to a new hashtag trend on Twitter amidst concern from those in her community. Fans were alarmed on Dec. 27 when the popular YouTube streamer ended her broadcast out of nowhere while in the middle of playing Rust with fifty of the internet’s biggest content creators. Fortunately, Valkyrae didn’t disappear for long; the very next day, she announced on Twitter that she’ll be going live “playing Rust with friends” again, although she plans to disable her live chat until the stream actually starts. live today 3pm pst! Playing Rust with friends ❤️ Uploading new YouTube video tomorrow! Prestream has started! (disabled chat for now but will turn it on when I’m live)https://t.co/Gjb2ODUqmI— RAE (@Valkyrae) December 28, 2020 Original Story: Fifty of the internet’s biggest content creators all got together for one massive event inside of Rust. After unfortunate DDoS attacks, the action finally kicked off on December 27 with the likes of shroud, Ludwig, MoistCr1tikal, and plenty more all joining the server. Valkyrae was among those massive names in the lobby but not all went according to plan. The YouTube streamer ended her broadcast out of nowhere just before the three-hour mark. Typically, her streams can last much longer than that and they would normally close with a fitting outro. Something was clearly off and countless fans took to Twitter to reach out. The hashtag #ValkyraeSupport quickly became a trend across the United States, as hundreds of heartfelt messages flooded online for the streaming star. After a few minutes of silence, it was clear that Valkyrae wasn’t enjoying her time on stream. She alt-tabbed out of Rust and briefly addressed her viewers before switching everything off. “I’m gonna end stream,” she said. “I’m not having fun streaming.” It’s not entirely clear what led to the abrupt ending. It may have been a specific message in the chat or a long string of negativity throughout the broadcast. Regardless, in her few minutes of silence, Valkyrae looked over to her chat with an unhappy expression multiple times. It’s clear as day that things were a little out of the ordinary, which her fans noticed straight away. Shortly after the streamer went offline, her Twitter account was also switched to private. “She deserves all the love and support she gets from her community after constantly dealing with the toxicity and backseat gaming,” one avid fan shared with the hashtag as it began to trend. Read More: Valkyrae leaks stream earnings – “Please take care Valkyrae,” another followed up, before adding, “You don’t deserve to deal with so much toxic backseating.” https://twitter.com/vlaxyx/status/1343429269029081091 https://twitter.com/Puppykkuno/status/1343416994251628548 While Valkyrae continued to play in the big Rust event while off-stream, her broadcast is yet to return at the time of writing. It appears unlikely that will change until it’s all said and done. Her Twitter account went back to being public a few hours later. A simple tweet followed up as she thanked her loyal fans for the outpouring of support. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if Valkyrae makes any further comments on the situation.

Valorant & CSGO fans stunned as rare poisonous bird handled like knife in viral video – Dexerto
Valorant & CSGO fans stunned as rare poisonous bird handled like knife in viral video Riot Games / Pexels, Roshan KamathValorant and CS:GO players have joined legions of confused Twitter users, as someone handles a rare poisonous bird, the Hooded Pitohui, just like knives are played with in the video games. Knives hold a dear, niche place in the hearts of Valorant and CS:GO fans (in a metaphorical sense, of course). In July 2021, a Counter-Strike knife was estimated to be worth $800,000 and, in August, Valorant received its first CS:GO-style butterfly knife. In both games, players get to enjoy their preferred weapon skins with nifty knife animations and camos — some of which are rare and exciting. But there are rare and exciting things in the real world too, like the Hooded Pitohui, a poisonous bird that is dangerous to touch. And that latter part makes it all the more surprising that someone not only touched the bird, but went viral for handling it like some CS:GO knife animation. https://twitter.com/RebeccaH2030/status/1439173924500213762 As you can see in the original tweet, the bird is handled quite casually — moved around, held in full hand, held upside down on one finger, and the like. This has led to hundreds of responses and quote tweets, many of which center on the CS and Valorant connection. One user, ‘rexnah,’ said the poster was “inspecting the s**t like a cs:go knife” while another, ‘HotHotHotBoy69’ said “the inspect animation for this new valorant knife is sick.” There are a number of other similarly worded reactions, as well as the expected Pokemon jokes too — with people excited about the new Poison/Flying-type creature’s IRL release. Butterfly Knife animations via @Dittozkul Wait for the inspect 🔥 pic.twitter.com/LKDvV6ZfS2 — Valorant News (@ValorINTEL) August 24, 2021 Honestly, the connection isn’t even that far off. The poster moves the Hooded Pitohui around much like Valorant agents show off their knives. For now, there’s been no word on the health of the person who originally handled the poisonous bird without any protective gear. Additionally, Valorant and CS:GO fans may be disappointed to find out that neither game’s developers have explained if they’re considering bringing the Pitohui onto the virtual battlefield.

Valkyrae’s streaming schedule may change as she reveals new health condition – Dexerto
Valkyrae’s streaming schedule may change as she reveals new health condition YouTube: ValkyraeYouTube streaming star Valkyrae has updated fans on her upcoming broadcasts due to a jaw condition with which she was recently diagnosed. It’s safe to say that Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is one of the biggest names in the streaming game right now. Originally finding her home on Twitch, Rae signed an exclusive streaming deal with YouTube in 2020, and has since gone on to become one of the most-watched women in online broadcasting. However, being a top-tier streamer isn’t the cushy job it sometimes seems to be. Between her packed streaming schedule, dealing with stalkers and pushy fans, and overall massive workload, Rae has to take care of her physical health, too. On August 31, Rae revealed that her upcoming streams might be shorter and that she may not be talking as much, due to a condition she was recently diagnosed with called temporomandibular joint dysfunction of the jaw. Otherwise known as TMJ, this condition can lead to joint pain in the jaw, difficulty chewing, and clicking or locking of the jaw joint. Understandably, this can make talking to chat quite the difficult task, which is why Rae warned fans that she might not be speaking as much in future broadcasts until the issue is resolved. Read More: Top 20 most followed Twitch streamers – “I’ve developed Jaw TMD (Temporomandibular joint dysfunction)!!” Rae explained. “Streams may be much shorter and I may be more quiet than usual so I can try to recover faster but idk if I can ever heal because I don’t shut up lol.” Luckily, her fans and fellow streamers were quick to send her support — but this isn’t the first time Rae’s health complications have interrupted her broadcasts as of late. I’ve developed Jaw TMD (Temporomandibular joint dysfunction) !! Streams may be much shorter and I may be more quiet than usual so I can try to recover faster but idk if I can ever heal because I don’t shut up lol 😅😭 — RAE (@Valkyrae) August 31, 2021 In June, Rae revealed to fans that she was canceling an upcoming stream due to what she thought was appendicitis. It turns out that the streamer was actually suffering from pain due to ovarian cysts, and described the entire ordeal as “traumatizing” once she was back home and recovering. Valkyrae updates fans on health condition Valkyrae has also discussed her current jaw problem during live broadcasts, stating that it hurts to open her mouth very wide or to eat “crunchy” things. She also claimed that she hasn’t been getting good quality sleep due to pain. “I grind my teeth a lot in my sleep, and for the past year or two, my mouth would randomly start popping when I ate meals sometimes,” Rae explained. “It was super random. I just kinda got really, really sore back here.” As for treatment, the streamer claimed she would be going to the dentist to get evaluated and would be issued a “night guard” to protect her teeth when she grinds them in her sleep. For now, we wish Valkyrae the best as she rests up and heals from this uncomfortable jaw issue.

Valkyrae’s Twitch channel can’t be found and somehow it’s good news for Sykkuno – Dexerto
Valkyrae’s Twitch channel can’t be found and somehow it’s good news for Sykkuno YouTube, Valkyrae100 Thieves co-owner Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter hasn’t streamed on Twitch since she signed a contract with YouTube. How Twitch is handling her account over a year later has left her speechless. Since signing an exclusive contract with YouTube over a year ago, Valkyrae has definitely stayed too busy to think about Twitch and her 1.1 million follower account. The creator has starred in a music video with Machine Gun Kelly, in which she plays the faceless YouTuber and musician Corpse Husband, as well as becoming an official co-owner of 100 Thieves alongside CourageJD, Drake, Nadeshot and a few other investors. During an August 16 stream on YouTube, Valkyrae received a comment in chat: “Did you know if you search your name on Twitch, it shows Sykkuno?” Valkyrae reacts to the search results After reading the chat message out loud, the streamer responded, “Hold… hold up. HOLD UP!” before opening the Twitch homepage and typing her name into the search bar. After a couple of seconds staring at the screen, she yelled: “Whta? HUH?!” before scrolling halfway down the result page and yelling out “Valkyree?! One?!” — the name of a Hungarian World of Warcraft streamer. https://twitter.com/skyiredino/status/1427387489204023299?s=20 After reacting on stream, she turned to her Twitter page to send a message to her 2.5 million followers. APPARENTLY WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR MY NAME ON TWITCH ONLY SYKKUNOS ACCOUNT POPS UP WHAT KIND OF AUDACITY IS THIS — RAE (@Valkyrae) August 16, 2021 Almost 24 hours after Rachell tweeted about the incident, Sykkuno left a very simple reply. A theory for why Valkrae’s channel isn’t coming up in Twitch search In the replies to her tweet, a Twitter user by the name of “Fabian9799” posted a screenshot of an alleged message from Twitch that may have the perfect explanation. The message reads: “Thank you for your message! We understand that it can be a concern if your channel doesn’t show up when someone searches for it. Currently, channels that have not reached partner status and have not streamed within a year are periodically removed from search for optimization reasons.” “We are constantly trying to improve this experience and welcome concerns about this as feedback. As soon as one of these channels is streaming after a longer period of activity, it should show up in the search again.” Happens to many people. Twitch Support said this to me some months ago after i asked them about it pic.twitter.com/jUeZBARe4T — Fabian (@fabian9799) August 16, 2021 Despite having 1.1 million followers on the platform, Valkyrae signed her exclusive contract with YouTube before she managed to make it to Partner status. While not confirmed, this could very likely be the reason the creator’s channel is no longer showing in search, and her friend Sykkuno is showing in her place. Either way, we think her reaction was priceless.

Valkyrae’s RFLCT co-founder fires back at criticism: “It’s hard enough for young women to start a business” – Dexerto
Valkyrae’s RFLCT co-founder fires back at criticism: “It’s hard enough for young women to start a business” RFLCTRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter’s launch of her gaming-inspired skincare product RFLCT has been interesting, to say the least. Now, RFLCT co-founder Joanna Coles is firing back in response to the backlash. Hoping to carve out a niche in the market with skincare product RFLCT, which claims to offer protection from blue light damage, Valkyrae’s product launch has been met with a mixed reception. From professional analysis to damning influencer reviews, it is safe to say that RFLCT isn’t off to the promising start that she had in mind. Nonetheless, Valkyrae has been quick to respond to detractors, clarifying that “all the hate is warranted.” Joanna Coles, a co-founder of Valkryae’s business, is defending their product from criticism. RFLCT exists in a “male dominated economy” according to co-founder Speaking to The Washington Post, Coles gave insight into the road to launching RFLCT, commenting on how the product’s website now has “academic studies citing the impact of blue light on the skin.” With the project taking over two years to come to fruition, Coles added that “it’s hard enough for young women to start a business in a male dominated economy.” “I am confident that if a male gamer had come up with RFLCT he would have been roundly applauded,” said Coles in regards to the reception of RFLCT among Valkyrae’s audience. Despite the mixed reception to the product launch, Coles continues to show support without hesitation: Proud 2b ur partner on RFLCT, @Valkyrae CONGRATS!!! Wish I didn’t spend 8 hrs a day w/my screen. Having learned ALOT abt BLD I now know 2 prep my skin and take regular breaks. Mask +balm = faves & we were honored 2 work w/ @claudiapoccia frmer CEO of LauraMercier. BRAVO GAMEGIRL — Joanna Coles (@JoannaColes) October 21, 2021 Valkyrae continues to be transparent with her viewers on RFLCT, as she plans to discuss everything that has transpired on stream on October 23: “[I] will share my experience with RFLCT and everything about it.”

Valkyrae admits she worried Sykkuno wanted to “move on” from Amigops friendship – Dexerto
Valkyrae admits she worried Sykkuno wanted to “move on” from Amigops friendship Twitter: ValkyraeRachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter admitted she once worried Sykkuno was going to “move on” from their Amigops friendship group with CorpseHusband and Jeremy ‘DisguisedToast’ Wang. It’s been a while since any of the big streamers played Among Us together, which is hard to believe given how popular it once was. However, their fans will never forget some of the many memorable moments in the game, including the creation of the Amigops. For those who don’t remember, it was the name CorpseHusband, DisguisedToast, Sykkuno, and Valkyrae’s fans gave them after Sykkuno hilariously misspelled ‘amigos’ in one of their many star-studded Among Us lobbies. But in a recent stream, Valkyrae admitted that at one point, she worried Sykkuno’s growth as an individual streamer would lead to him moving on and leaving them behind. Fortunately, that hasn’t happened, and she’s grateful. “I love Sykkuno. I’m so glad I met him. I’m very proud of him and his development over the past year and a half. Has it been a year and a half? [Maybe] two years? I don’t know how long I’ve known him for,” she said. “I really did think that he was going to, like, I don’t know, move on and leave us behind. But I really appreciate that he still cares.” It’s fair to say that their friendship has transcended any specific game. They’ve played everything from GTA RP and Rust to Dread Hunger together and have even met up in real life multiple times, including a trip to Las Vegas. Fans can’t get enough of their friendship, too, as evidenced by their surprise cameo in an anime, which went viral. So, they’ll be grateful to know that Valkyrae’s concerns about Sykkuno moving on never eventuated.

The survival sandbox game by Facepunch Studios spawns players into the wilderness to fend for themselves. At the start of every game, you start with nothing and have to take care of yourself while keeping your character healthy with scrap materials and sporadic loot found across the map. Eventually, as players start to erect buildings, forts, and strongholds, clans start to form and an arms race determines who will reign supreme in the open-world survival game. With the private lobby filled to the brim with some of the streaming world’s most entertaining faces, it’s bound to have enough highlights for everybody to enjoy. As the game progresses, expect to see friends forming factions against others to steal loot, sabotage bases, and muddle up the comms. Crossovers with multiple streamers historically provide for some of the wildest content, and it’s sure to deliver in a game as random as Rust. Don’t miss out on any of the action, as it’s bound to have multiple sagas involving numerous personalities once Valkyrae’s private server goes live soon.

Valkyrae weighs in on Alinity dog controversy – Dexerto
Valkyrae weighs in on Alinity dog controversy In the aftermath of Natalia ‘Alinity Divine’ Mogollon’s Twitch dog scandal, Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofsetter has edged in with her standpoint. Alinity has received her fair share of time in the spotlight. Perhaps noted for her now-infamous incident where she tossed her cat over her head, the 31-year-old appeared to cause a stir mere months after her first pet-related wrongdoing. For those unaware, Mogollon’s Samoyed pooch, Luna, pressed its face into her privates while she attempted a headstand. While Alinity attempted to ‘brush’ off her pup from her crotch, some have slammed the streamer for allowing Luna to stay there for as long as she did. Following on from the incident, plenty of personalities have had their say on the controversy that ensued… From Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins throwing shade in Alinity’s direction, to Corinna Kopf using Mogollon’s pet-related fiascos as examples of Twitch’s perceived inconsistent banning protocols. Of course, Alinity clapped back by responding to calls for her to be banned from Twitch by labeling them as “ridiculous” as she appears to have gotten off scot free. Now, popular 100 Thieves streamer, Valkyrae, has given her two cents in-light of the incident. Being a devoted dog owner herself, Rae seemed to have plenty pent up regarding the situation. When prompted by her Twitch chat, Hofsetter explained her thought process: “I’m just going to say… That dog keeps doing it because it’s been allowed, multiple times… Alright?” Valkyrae nipped in the bud there, but she appeared to have plenty to say regarding the incident by closing with “that’s all I’m going to say.” While this isn’t the first pet-related episode to surface from Alinity’s channel, the American streamer has still come out firing on all cylinders, stating that she “can’t win” following the onslaught of comments from people. While plenty have called for Mogollon’s channel to be suspended, the streamer might have bigger fish to fry, since she has now developed a history of flagging up on PETA’s radar. The American animal rights organization have also “demanded” that Alinity should be removed from the streaming platform after labeling the ordeal as a form of “cruelty” in their Tweet.

Valkyrae reveals why she decided to leave 100 Thieves’ LA content house – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she decided to leave 100 Thieves’ LA content house Twitter: 100 Thieves100 Thieves star’ Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed why she’s decided to leave the organization’s new Los Angeles content house, admitting she needed to change things in her personal life after a “whirlwind” few months. Hofstetter has had a whirlwind last few months, leaving 100T’s new LA abode after signing with the org in 2018, and penning a huge exclusive deal with YouTube. Needless to say, the streamer is looking forward to a break. One of the ways she’s planning on managing her fast-paced lifestyle, which now includes big YouTube streams, creating personal vlogs, and teaming up with all her 100 Thieves co-stars, was to get her own space, Valkyrae revealed. According to the 28-year-old, who addressed the shift during a house tour video on February 10, she had been struggling with balancing her “work and home life,” and decided she needed to pull the plug on “24/7 100 Thieves” by moving out. It’s a bold move, and one that may have shocked many of her fans, especially considering she was the first streamer to join Nadeshot. All good things come to an end, however, and Valkyrae’s stay in the new LA spot is just one of those. That’s not to say that she’s stepping back from her 100T videos and content in the slightest, she promised. It’s just important for her to keep her “health and wellness” in mind, and she had been struggling to do that living where she works. “Why I left the house… I just kind of wanted to separate myself from it all. As some of you know, Matt [Nadeshot], Jack [CouRage], and Brooke live in the content house, but I wanted to separate my work life from my home life,” she revealed. “The house is just five minutes away, so it’s not like I’m far. I have my laptop here, so I come home, can still game, and I get away from my work computer. “I made the call because I’m trying to focus on health, wellness, and fitness, and Michael [her partner and fellow streamer Michael ‘SonyD’ Sherman] encourages me to do that here as well, so that’s perfect and great. I think it will be a good change.” Like the streaming star mentioned, however, her move away from the 100T content house and into her own home doesn’t mean she’ll be any less involved in the org. In fact, she believes it will “energize” her to do even more. “It feels like a bit of a reset moving in real life, and onto YouTube,” she continued. “I’ve been gaming my entire life, but now with the move I can focus on beauty, fitness, and as well as everything with 100 Thieves. I couldn’t be more excited.” She also added that she had “learned so much from [her] roommates,” and said she hoped they would still remain “incredibly supportive towards [her] decisions” moving forward outside of the org’s Los Angeles content house. For mobile readers, the related segment begins at 8:49 in the video below. Valkyrae definitely hasn’t disappeared from the 100 Thieves content despite her move either, and recently appeared in the org’s $500k Halftime Uno tournament, though the YouTube star bombed out of the winner-takes-all comp early. For now, it looks like it’s business as usual for the streamer, who has promised her fans more personal vlogs, insights into her new place, and plenty more content with Nadeshot, Courage, and Brooke. Keep your eyes peeled!

Valkyrae warns aspiring gamers against streaming careers: “Don’t quit your jobs” – Dexerto
Valkyrae warns aspiring gamers against streaming careers: “Don’t quit your jobs” YouTube: ValkyraeRachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has dropped a bombshell on aspiring gamers wanting to make it big in the livestreaming industry: according to the reigning Queen of YouTube, there’s only one surefire way to break-in, and it’s a long, long process. “Making it on Twitch” has become the goal for many gamers, especially after watching stars like xQc, Pokimane, Nickmercs, and Asmongold hit the big time. It’s not a realistic dream to have though, warns Valkyrae. The 30-year-old YouTuber, who recently re-upped her exclusive broadcasting deal with Google’s titanic video site, claims the road to streaming stardom is “long, hard” and, for many, is a pipedream that actually fizzles out before long. “I’m telling you right now, don’t quit your job,” Hofstetter said. That’s not to say Valkyrae doesn’t think anyone can break into the industry. Hofstetter stands as a perfect example that determination can always pay off — she now boasts over 3.7m followers. But, there are realistic ways to approach it, she says. Valkyrae explained: “Get a real job first, okay? If you have the intentions of streaming because you want it to be your job, and you wanna make money from it…. Sorry, you cannot go into it with that expectation. It’s not gonna work, and you have to do this for years and years and years and years.” “Use streaming as a hobby. And, you also need to create content that is going to be interesting. Probably something that you’re really passionate about too.” Even that isn’t the “simple key” either, Valkyrae admits. As important as what you’re broadcasting is knowing people, building networks via other streamers, and growing your fanbase from there. “Collaborate with people,” she suggested. Don’t get stuck with playing one game forever either, she added. Fortnite was her true launching point, but she played League of Legends for years before that, and pivoted into the Among Us craze early on too. “Try different types of content,” the YouTuber said. “If something isn’t working, or if something gets more views than other things, maybe it’s time to capitalize.” And if fans do decide to stream, despite all the warnings, there’s only one place that they should start, Valkyrae claims; her red-branded kingdom, YouTube. The Google-owned platform still runs second to Twitch’s livestreaming, but the 100 Thieves co-owner believes that’s already starting to change. “I feel valued on YouTube. They make me feel important. On Twitch, that’s not really there. They have so many people on deals that you don’t get that feeling.”

Valkyrae was shocked by how “massive” Ludwig’s Mogul Money Live event was – Dexerto
Valkyrae was shocked by how “massive” Ludwig’s Mogul Money Live event was YouTube: Ludwig/ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was left shocked when she realized how massive Ludwig’s Mogul Money Live event was, explaining that she thought it would only be 500 people. Just before Ludwig made his infamous move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming, he hosted a Jeopardy-style game show that featured other big-name creators throughout the series. After his switch, the YouTuber revealed his plans to bid farewell to the series — Mogul Money Live — which took place on July 2, 2022, live at the YouTube Theater in California. During her recent stream, Valkyrae revealed that she was shocked to find out how massive the event actually was once she arrived at the venue. Valkyrae shocked at “massive” Mogul Money Live While playing Among Us with friends on stream, Valkyrae shared her thoughts about Ludwig’s event. “First of all, I didn’t realize Mogul Money Live was going to be that massive. I thought it was going to be a room full of people. I knew there were tickets, but I didn’t realize it was going to be a stadium of people… I thought it was going to be a room of 500 people max but it was 5,000,” She explained. “I was looking around the theater and I was like ‘this is 5,000 people watching the show IRL. It put into perspective how many people watch me sometimes. 5,000 people is a lot of people… it was really really cool.” https://youtu.be/UnO_S8nnSwk She added: “I’m just really proud of Ludwig, it’s like, insane. He’s doing something that no creator has ever [done before].” Not only has Ludwig hosted Mogul Money Live in recent months, but he’s also organized a Fall Guys Tournament with other creators, partnered up with Ninja to raise over $200k for a Smash Bros pro player, and has even dabbled with some Fortnite. He’s also teased that there is more in the works, but we’ll have to wait to see what’s hidden up his sleeve in the coming months.

Valkyrae wants to collab with Hololive’s Usada Pekora in huge YouTube crossover – Dexerto
Valkyrae wants to collab with Hololive’s Usada Pekora in huge YouTube crossover YouTube: Valkyrae / YouTube: Pekora Ch.Valkyrae and Hololive star Usada Pekora are two of the biggest names in YouTube streaming. Now, they want to collab — once they figure out a solution to the language barrier — in a crossover for the ages. Valkyrae and Usada Pekora frequently top the charts when it comes to streaming generally, but especially on YouTube. Combined, the two had a total of more than 57 million hours watched in 2021, and were ranked second and third for female streamers respectively. There might not be a lot of overlap between the American and Japanese VTuber’s fanbases, but the sheer number of subscribers is there. So, the two want to make a collaboration happen. Pekora was the first to bring it up, looking back at her 2021 stats and rueing the fact she was third. “Valkyrae was the top female streamer last year right? I can’t beat [Amouranth] but I wanted to be at least second place,” Pekora said, according to a translation. A viewer then asked Hololive’s resident rabbit if she wanted to collab with Valkyrae, and the answer was a resounding yes. “I wanted to be invited! Last year, weren’t the famous streamers playing Rust? There was a period when it was popular among the overseas streamers — like a server for popular streamers [the OfflineTV server] so I went to check it out,” she added. “Please invite Pekora if you guys are going to play. Please do invite me. I’ll power my way through [speaking English]: ‘Hey hey, Japanese cute rabbit,’ saying things like that.” While Peko is aware of her weak English skills, Valkyrae still wants to make it happen. “She wants to do something, but what could we do? She spoke a little English — she said ‘cute bunny rabbit’. What could we do where there’d be very little language barrier but also fun? I don’t know,” the American added on her own stream. “Maybe we could do Gartic Phone? We could do Among Us? Among Us would be funny. We would just have to go off of behavior.” The related segment begins at 1:25:40. The biggest challenge in Valk’s eyes will be getting a hold of Peko though. “How are we supposed to communicate, via clips,” she laughed. “I don’t know if it’s as easy as that. From my understanding of the VTubing world — it’s under a whole company, right? I could just DM her, but can I DM her in English? They have managers…I don’t know, we’ll figure something out.” If the two manage to join forces, it’ll be a collab for the ages in gaming. It’ll also open up Valkyrae to the world of VTubers, and that’s a rabbit hole that could lead her to a bright, new future in 2022 beyond her OfflineTV circle. Now, it’s just a matter of waiting and seeing.

Valkyrae announces voice acting role in Netflix Sonic Prime show – Dexerto
Valkyrae announces voice acting role in Netflix Sonic Prime show Valkyrae, NetflixPopular streamer Valkyrae has announced her part in Netflix’s Sonic Prime animated series, in which she voices Squad Commander Red. Despite lending her voice to a Tribe Nine cameo in early 2022, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter celebrated her official turn as a voice actor that summer in a cryptic tweet. The streamer couldn’t divulge concrete details about the project she’d joined at the time, but fans were nonetheless excited. After a long wait, Valkyrae has finally informed followers of which project she lent her talent to – Netflix’s newest animated series. Valkyrae is Squad Commander Red in Sonic Prime Today, January 10, Valkyrae announced that she voiced a character in Netflix’s newly released Sonic TV show. The popular content creator, specifically, portrays Squad Commander Red in an episode of the series. All eight episodes are already available to view on the streaming service, and Valkyrae isn’t the only voice that gamers may recognize. Youtuber Seán McLoughlin, better known as Jacksepticeye, appears in the Sonic-branded animated show, as well. Whether or not the Sonic Prime TV show will translate to more voice-over work for Valkyrae presently remains to be seen. However, it could mark the start of another career path for the internet personality. There’s much more Sonic Prime on the way, too, with the series reportedly slated to run for three seasons with eight episodes apiece. It’s currently unclear if Squad Commander Red will appear in subsequent seasons in any capacity. The series, thus far, revolves around the eponymous Sonic the Hedgehog traveling across parallel dimensions in an attempt to save his shattered world. Evidently, the speedster runs into some interesting folks along the way.

Valkyrae vows “never” to touch alcohol again after getting drunk during her stream – Dexerto
Valkyrae vows “never” to touch alcohol again after getting drunk during her stream Twitter: ValkyraeYouTube Gaming star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has claimed she will avoid drinking during her livestreams again after fans noticed she got tipsy in one of her recent broadcasts. As with any creator, Valkyrae has had her fair share of embarrassing moments on camera and in front of thousands of fans watching her livestreams. For instance, there was the time when she leaped out of her skin after being jump scared by her housemate and when a “huge” centipede interrupted her Valorant game. However, there were no giant creepy crawlies to embarrass her during her latest livestream — although, she was a bit regretful that she suggested drinking whilst streaming. Valkyrae gets tipsy during Valorant stream On May 31, Valkyrae was playing Valorant alongside some of her famous friends, including her original ‘Amigops’ members Disguised Toast and Sykkuno. However, they decided to up the game by adding alcohol to the mix. At one point, she jokingly called on Sykkuno, who is currently residing in Las Vegas, to “come back” to Los Angeles because she missed him. She also got lost throughout Valorant on a number of occasions, but she simply laughed at her hilarious mishaps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdWH3MjAEI0 Following on from the stream, Valkyrae took to Twitter to lament how she was a little regretful about drinking during her livestream. Although, she couldn’t promise that it wouldn’t happen again. “Alcohol is wild,” Valkyrae claimed. “I’m never drinking on stream again until the next time I do.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1531527238167851010 The stream proved incredibly popular among her fanbase, with one Twitter-user calling it “one of the funniest streams ever.” Valkyrae’s behavior only sparked calls from fans to host ‘drunk sussy Sundays’ with her fellow Amigops over a game of ‘Among Us.’ It’s safe to say Valkyrae didn’t have the best reaction to drinking during her stream. Although, it’ll be a comfort for her to know she is supposedly “immune” from being banned on YouTube due to her popularity.

Valkyrae updates worried fans after tearfully ending her stream – Dexerto
Valkyrae updates worried fans after tearfully ending her stream YouTube: ValkyraePopular streamer and 100 Thieves member Valkyrae left her fanbase anxious after abruptly ending a November 15 live stream — but the update she released afterwards was swiftly deleted, causing even more of a stir. Valkyrae — real name Rachell Hofstetter — is a hugely popular name in the online broadcasting world. Having moved from Twitch to YouTube in an exclusive streaming deal, Rae also became part of 100 Thieves, further padding her already impressive resume. Despite receiving oodles of internet success, being famous is no picnic, as the streamer underwent a highly personal ordeal during a live broadcast on November 15 that exposed her emotions to the entire world. During the stream VoD, Rae can be seen receiving a phone call, after which she goes out of view of the camera. A good while later, the broadcaster returns, and can be seen wiping a tear from her eye as she moves the camera around a bit. View this post on Instagram “Hi, uhh, I gotta end the stream,” she announced. “Sorry, guys. I will see you guys later.” Rae posted an update via Twitter a short while later, which was deleted soon after it was published. The Tweet read, in part, that she had “lost someone close to me.” Rae followed up with another Tweet on November 16, which revealed that she will be taking a month-long break from the internet, which will include a visit with her family in Washington, as well as a trip to Las Vegas. (Topic begins at 4:48:15) “Might be leaving for a month, but I’ll be bringing my setup!” the streamer announced. “Thinking of heading to Washington to be with family at the end of the month, then straight to Vegas after. Streams will be very inconsistent, but I’ll try to make it work!” She likewise revealed that this break won’t be happening for a few more weeks, giving fans a little more time to spend with their favorite personality before she travels. Rae has been met with sympathy and support on all sides, it seems, with commenters wishing her well and asking her to take any necessary time to heal and recover from the incident that has occurred in her personal life. Might be leaving for a month but I’ll be bringing my setup! Thinking of heading to Washington to be with family at the end of the month then straight to Vegas after. Streams will be very inconsistent but I’ll try to make it work! — RAE (@Valkyrae) November 16, 2020 While the circumstances surrounding her hiatus are still largely unknown, she isn’t the first broadcaster to take a break from content creation this year, by far; YouTuber JackSepticEye and Twitch star Pokimane both took month-long hiatuses prior to Rae’s own break, during which we at Dexerto hope she will recover and return stronger than ever.

Valkyrae urges Twitch streamers to leave for YouTube after earnings leak – Dexerto
Valkyrae urges Twitch streamers to leave for YouTube after earnings leak YouTube: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has urged other Twitch stars to swap to Youtube after a massive data leak from the Amazon-owned platform revealed weak points in the website’s code, as well as how much every streamer has been earning over the past two years. Valkyrae has issued a welcome to Twitch stars: come to YouTube. The 100 Thieves co-owner’s suggestions come less than 24 hours after Twitch was the victim of a monster data breach on October 6 that leaked streamer earning numbers, account details, upcoming Amazon projects, and more. Reactions to the data leaks have been mixed. Asmongold denied the earnings numbers early, as did several Dexerto sources, but many have already turned on streamers like Hasan and Sykkuno for how much they’re reportedly raking in. Even Dr Disrespect, who Twitch banned more than a year ago, was included, though he claims that he simply “doesn’t give a f**k.” The breach is a very good reason, Valkyrae claimed, to defect to her “safe little island” away from all the uncontrollable data breaches and Twitch leaks — YouTube. “Pretty crazy day today,” the YouTuber said, before dropping an invitation to Twitch streamers looking for a change of scenery post-leak. “You know, YouTube is looking to sign more streamers [at the moment]. Yeah, they are. “The streaming side of the platform has a lot of room to grow. They’re working on and focusing on it. I’m happy here and seeing how hungry they are is exciting. “I’m not biased or whatever, but YouTube doesn’t have ads, and we’re currently working on a lot of other things. Plus, right now, we haven’t gotten breached and had all of our code leaked. I don’t know, it all sounds kind of scary over there. I like my island over here. It’s really nice. “Listen, I’m not throwing shade on Twitch, but…” Valkyrae added, but trailed off before finishing that thought. “And no, this isn’t a sponsored message.” Despite shifting to YouTube in 2020 — a choice she’s now encouraging others to make too — Valkyrae was still among the 10,000 stars whose Twitch earnings were leaked. The 100 Thieves co-owner’s leaked data is a little slimmer than most, however, due to the fact she swapped purple for red in a rich exclusive deal more than 18 months ago; the monster Amazon code leak revealed she made $96,025,90 between August 2019 and her departure date on January 12. “The fact I’m on this list and I haven’t streamed on Twitch in two years is crazy,” the YouTuber said after finding her name on twitchearnings.com. “That means this is how much I made in maybe six months.” “What do you mean not much?” she then replied to a less-than-impressed fan. “That’s a lot! I had 3k viewers. I did really well back then. Good job Rae!”

Valkyrae updates viewers after canceling stream for hospital visit due to health scare – Dexerto
Valkyrae updates viewers after canceling stream for hospital visit due to health scare YouTube: ValkyraePopular streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has given her followers an update after canceling a scheduled stream due to a health scare. Valkyrae has an incredibly loyal following – she was even recently named the most-watched female streamer – so when she makes a change to her schedule, fans are naturally worried and want to make sure she’s okay. In a tweet on June 22, Rae announced that she would have to cancel her scheduled stream as she was making a trip to the hospital. She explained that it was an “appendicitis scare” but could be something else. “I gotta cancel stream today! At the hospital for an appendicitis scare but it might be something else,” she wrote, before promising, “I’ll make it up to you guys later!” I gotta cancel stream today! At the hospital for an appendicitis scare but it might be something else. I’ll make it up to you guys later! — RAE (@Valkyrae) June 22, 2021 After six hours in the hospital, Rae took to her backup Twitter account to share an update with followers about her current situation, explaining that she was feeling less pain but that she needed to return to the hospital the next day. “Blood drawn, IV, scans, etc. results – for ovarian cysts. Pain is down from a 9/8 sharp pain to a 3/2 bloated/uncomfortable gut. Great… but nerve wracking that the pain couldn’t be pinpointed,” she wrote. “They want me back tomorrow… Resting today.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1407447913865768966 Valkyrae received an outpouring of love following her tweets, with WWE star and streamer Thea Trinidad writing, “Sending healing & positive vibes your way,” and fellow 100 Thieves star CouRage tweeting, “Feel better, Rae!” Fortunately, Rae’s viewers were also supportive of her decision to put her health first and sent plenty of positive messages her way. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that Valkyrae feels better soon! Dude!!! This literally happened to me in March. SAME EXACT THING. Scary as fuq. Sending healing & positive vibes your way! — ZV (@ZelinaVegaWWE) June 22, 2021 It’s been a pretty incredible year for the streaming superstar. As well as becoming the co-owner of esports organization 100 Thieves, she recently starred alongside TikToker Bella Poarch in her viral Build a B*tch music video. However, Valkyrae has also shared some of her more frustrating experiences as a streamer over recent months, admitting that YouTuber viewer demands leave her feeling “like a zoo animal” and that she may “pivot out” of social media due to hate.

Valkyrae reveals why she turned down Twitch comeback to stay on YouTube – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she turned down Twitch comeback to stay on YouTube YouTube: OfflineTVRachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has revealed why she knocked back a potential Twitch comeback to stay on YouTube Gaming for another two years, with one big reason — outside of the money — swaying her choice. Valkyrae is staying on her red-branded YouTube throne for another two years, with the reigning Queen of the Google-owned platform happy to sign. There was a Twitch offer, which did turn her head for a time; a comeback on the purple platform was “interesting,” but just not enough in the end, Hofstetter explained. While there were a few factors, one stood out above the rest — Valkyrae, and her fans, are happy on YouTube. “YouTube’s fantastic, I couldn’t be happier,” she said. And, 100 Thieves co-owner added, she wanted to avoid “disappointing” the fanbase she’d cultivated on Google’s website over the last 48 months. “Last time I switched [sites] I was depressed. It felt like I’d made a mistake. I felt guilty, felt like I’d abandoned my community. I didn’t want to do that again.” Then, of course, there was the YouTube money too — the financial side of Google’s power-play offer played quite the part, Hofstetter admitted on the OfflineTV Podcast’s latest episode, in swaying her. Valkyrae has never been coy about “getting the bag” via her streaming career and has happily talked in the past how financial incentives have played a role in her career. The same question popped up for the 30-year-old as she tossed up two rival offers, before Google’s titanic video site upped the kitty. “If I could, I would love to talk about the YouTube contract they offered me,” the platform’s stream-queen said. “But I don’t think I can. I can’t! I would absolutely love to share what they offered me, but it’s just not possible.” Her suggestion, however, was her recent two-year extension was worth quite a bit of coin; a fact only bolstered by YouTube’s plans to use her as a site icon. There were questions surrounding where Valkyrae would land right up until her announcement on January 31, with the leading suggestions claiming she would trade red for blue and defect to Facebook. That was never on the cards though, she reveals. “I was messing with my fans, and it grew from there,” the 30-year-old laughed. “They really thought I was going to Facebook because I kept baiting them in my final streams. They started assuming it was a new platform, and people were making Facebook profiles and things. “But no, it’s nothing serious like that,” the YouTuber — for another two years, at least — repeated. “It’s no big deal: I’m happy here, so I’m staying on YouTube.”

Valkyrae tells fans to ‘learn from her mistakes’ following health update – Dexerto
Valkyrae tells fans to ‘learn from her mistakes’ following health update Twitter: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has been leaving fans worried in recent days due to various health issues. However, the YouTuber has claimed that she is the one to blame due to an ‘unhealthy’ lifestyle and asked others not to follow her example. As one of the streaming community’s most famous faces, Valkyrae is certainly used to having a lot on her plate. As well as balancing streaming with her social life, the YouTube streamer also started a rigorous fitness routine. Having returned from Coachella, however, the 30-year-old regularly reported that she was feeling unwell. For example on April 20, Valkyrae tweeted that “this past weekend finally caught up to me.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1516906544587165697 Six days later, Valkyrae was still under the weather, but she claimed that the blame ultimately rests on her, saying she was an “idiot” due to her unbalanced lifestyle. Valkyrae tells fans to be “better” than her Since falling ill after attending Coachella, Valkyrae has posted a series of tweets giving fans an update about her health. Yet, by April 26, there was still no change and she was very aware that her routine is not helping her get any better. “Yes, I’m still sick because I scream and stream and do shoots and workout with little water and lack of sleep. I’m an idiot. Be better than me and learn from my mistakes.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1518747934975610881 Understandably, Valkyrae’s tweet left fans concerned for her health as they feared she was ‘pushing herself to the limit’ with her streaming schedule not helping matters. Many begged her to take care of herself by staying hydrated and getting some rest. Twitch streamer Holden Stevenson was able to relate, agreeing “I’m the same way. I work, work out, stream, watch my shows, and then I get like 4 hrs of sleep. Just to wake up and do it all over again. Hope you feel better soon!” I’m the same way. I work, work out, stream, watch my shows, and then I get like 4 hrs of sleep. Just to wake up and do it all over again. Hope you feel better soon!!! — Holden Stevenson (@holdenstevenson) April 26, 2022 Some fans suggested Valkyrae take some time away from streaming: “One or two weeks off would do you good.” Girl. You really need to learn to take time for yourself 😩 Go on a vacation or something. One or two weeks off would do you good.— RaijuDrake (@DrakeRaiju) April 26, 2022 Valkyrae had previously mentioned that she would be taking a whole month away from streaming for an “exciting” project. Although, she later canceled her plans. Valkyrae may be reluctant to take a break in case it causes any disappointment among her viewers, as well as loss in earnings. However, her fans have reassured her that they will be ready to welcome her back if she does take some time away to recover.

Valkyrae terrified after being jump scared at worst possible moment – Dexerto
Valkyrae terrified after being jump scared at worst possible moment YT: ValkyraeViewers, and Fuslie, were left in hysterics after YouTuber Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter let out a bloodcurdling scream when she was jump scared during her livestream – right in the middle of a horror game. One of the best things about livestreams is that they can catch some hilarious unpredictable moments. Just look at the IRL streamer who was attacked by a goose in front of her viewers. Streamer Valkyrae has also captured some less violent, but nonetheless unpredictable moments during her livestreams such as when viewers didn’t have the best response to her “retirement” joke. Or, when a kind-hearted fan made a $200k charity donation. However, little can top the moment when she let out a bloodcurdling scream when her housemate tried to get her attention on stream. Valkyrae terrified during horror stream Valkyrae was playing the co-op horror survival game ‘DEVOUR’ with her friends on May 16. As she isn’t a huge fan of horror games, especially one filled to the brim with jump scares, she was understandably on edge. As Valkyrae was playing the spooky game she suddenly heard a mysterious voice calling her name. As she looked off-camera she let out a piercing scream before realizing it was just her housemate Evon giving her some snacks. “We’re playing a scary game and you have some business, bruh, coming up here like that,” Valkyrae shouted. “Bro, I thought the audio was in the game. I thought your voice was in the game. It was so scary!” Valkyrae’s friend and fellow streamer Fuslie streamed her own reaction to the clip and was left in hysterics over Valkyrae’s jump scare. However, she said that she wouldn’t have had the same reaction as Valkyrae. Valkyrae somehow managed to pluck up the courage to keep playing DEVOUR. Yet, she admitted that she “peed [herself] a little” over the scare. Although the incident might have left her shaken a little bit, no doubt her new boxing lessons will help her feel ready to take on any ghouls.

Valkyrae teases more YouTube signings after Ludwig’s Twitch move – Dexerto
Valkyrae teases more YouTube signings after Ludwig’s Twitch move Twitch: Valkyrae, LudwigRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has teased more YouTube Gaming signings are on the way following Ludwig’s departure from Twitch. In a massive move for its growing list of high-profile streamers, Ludwig announced he has signed an exclusivity deal with YouTube. The announcement came as a surprise to everyone, but even more so to fellow streamer Valkyrae. However, it seems Ludwig is just the tip of the iceberg, as Rae has let on she knows more than meets the eye. Valkyrae teases further YouTube signings During her November 29 stream, the announcement of Ludwig’s YouTube Gaming signing gave us a live reaction to the news. Caught off guard, she exclaimed “Ludwig tweet?” as his initial post hit social media. “What is this?” she added, as the video displayed a number of skits before the big reveal. However, Valkyrae’s confusion was just an act, as she then revealed in a sly tone “I already knew. “I just didn’t know it was this soon!” Responding to a chat member’s response, declaring the move “exciting,” Valkyrae let slip that more surprises are on the way. “I mean I’m not gonna say, you know, anything else,” she confessed, “but…I know a few things.” This follows Rae’s statement that YouTube is quickly becoming the “only real option” for creators, as YouTube is willing to support and “work with” streamers in a collaborative nature. Ludwig’s move to YouTube Gaming is an exponential move for the streamer, as he joins the ranks of DrDisrespect and TimTheTatMan. The rise of YouTube Gaming against the Amazon-owned Twitch has only grown in intensity, as streamers continue to blast the platform’s treatment of creators. As YouTube Gaming’s roster grows stronger, the anticipation of who will join next is incredibly exciting.

Valkyrae talks boyfriend requirements: “My standards are incredibly high now” – Dexerto
Valkyrae talks boyfriend requirements: “My standards are incredibly high now” YouTube: 100 ThievesPopular YouTube star Valkyrae spoke about her dating life in a recent podcast, revealing some of the dating expectations and requirements she now has when looking for a new boyfriend. Valkyrae joined the 100 Thieves cast as a guest in their recent podcast. During their chat, Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter opened up about her dating life and began the conversation by explaining how and why she has deleted all her dating apps. Valkyrae then spoke about how she’s been finding singlehood and what she is looking for in a potential new partner. “My standards are incredibly high now”, began the popular gaming figure. “I’ve had some really bad relationships before and I just never want to have to deal with that again.” Valkyrae then explained that a reason for some of her past relationships failing is due to insecurity her partner felt in regard to her own personal success as being one of the most watched gaming streamers and influencers. That there was a constant comparison being made between herself and her partner, one that she wanted no part of and felt was reductive. “I’ve had relationships in the past where partners will compare their success to mine and it sucks. It actually got to a point where I didn’t even want to share anything good that was happening because it would hurt their feelings.” As a result, one of the main things she is now looking for in a partner is someone who is comfortable and secure within themselves. “I don’t want a partner that’s not okay with their own grind.” Valkyrae then doubled down on how important of a requirement this mentality is when looking for a new boyfriend. “You could be a janitor. If you are trying your best and doing really well and are happy for me and supportive and you’re trying to improve yourself as a person as well, that’s all I could ask for.”

On March 11, Machine Gun Kelly and internet star Corpse Husband released their song ‘DAYWALKER!’ which proved to be an enormous hit among fans. However, due to the fact that Corpse chooses to keep his appearance under wraps, they needed someone to play his part in the video. That’s where Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter came in, stepping up to play the part of her streamer friend. She was actually requested specifically by MGK, making the opportunity all the more exciting. The video was finally released on March 18, and it’s safe to say that fans absolutely loved the streamer’s performance, along with others in the streaming community who sent countless messages of support and praise to all of the artists involved. Valkyrae’s huge role in this video has got fans wondering what other opportunities could be lined up for the streamer next. It appears that great new things are already in store. In a post on her second Twitter account on March 19, Rae wrote, “There’s no way I just got asked to do another crazy thing… literally in 5 days…” And it looks as though she has every intention of taking the opportunity. “I can’t say no,” she added. I gotta do it. I’m gonna throw up lol, what is happening… I’m tired but here we go again.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1372821380538888193 Friends and fans sent their congratulations Valkyrae’s way, but so far she’s not given any clues away as to what it could be. Whether it’s another acting appearance in a music video, or something else entirely is currently unclear. But with the success of DAYWALKER! viewers just know that the streamer will do a fantastic job. The music video has gained 4.7 million views within just a few days of being posted, and attracted the focus of the entire streaming community on the day of its release.

Valkyrae explains why Sykkuno often acts awkward on purpose: “It’s his brand” – Dexerto
Valkyrae explains why Sykkuno often acts awkward on purpose: “It’s his brand” Twitch: Sykkuno / YouTube: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter revealed that Sykkuno often acts awkward on purpose, claiming “it’s his brand” and people keep falling for it because he’s good at what he does. Sykkuno burst onto the streaming scene in 2020, and he’s been one of its biggest stars ever since. However, despite his popularity, he can come across as one of the more modest and reserved streamers on Twitch. It’s hard to find someone who knows him better than Rae. They’ve been friends for several years now and recently even became roommates. During her stream on March 20, she revealed that he acts awkward on purpose sometimes. The conversation came up when Rae was looking at a picture she posted of her and her new roommates. People in her chat pointed out that Sykkuno looked awkward in the shot, so she revealed the truth. “For the record, there are some people that say things like, Sykkuno looks so uncomfortable,” she said. “I just want you to know that he literally said out loud I’m going to look as awkward as possible on purpose.” She also implied that he does it elsewhere, too. “It is what he does. Sykkuno does it on purpose. He knows his brand alright. I am going to say it out loud because some of you are falling for it. He’s a genius.” Rae wasn’t suggesting that his whole streaming personality is a lie, per se. Instead, she appeared to be implying that Sykkuno simply plays into his awkwardness a bit, especially when it comes to things like group photos. Either way, fans can’t seem to get enough of him, and neither can other streamers. He’s established himself as one of the most popular and entertaining streamers on Twitch. So, what he’s doing, whether intentional or not, is working well.

Valkyrae suffers hilarious forfeit for losing 100 Thieves $10,000 unboxing – Dexerto
Valkyrae suffers hilarious forfeit for losing 100 Thieves $10,000 unboxing 100 Thieves, YouTubePopular streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter suffered a hilarious forfeit after the stars of 100 Thieves’ content team battled it out in a $10,000 challenge video for the first time since revealing their new house on March 5. After announcing that the 100 Thieves content team would be moving to a new location, fans were eager to see what they had in store with their new home. The popular creators had teased the move for quite a while and after finally unveiling their new house, they decided to film a massive $10,000 challenge video to break it in. In their massive “unboxing challenge” on March 5, CouRage, Nadeshot, Valkyrae, and Brooke all took turns racing around the house to collect as many boxes as they could find. Within each box was a small gift and a card with a cash prize written on it, which were later tallied up to see who came out on top. The popular creators hilariously stumbled around their new home, scrambling to bring back as many potential prizes that they could carry – with a few slips, falls, and injuries along the way. Unfortunately for Valkyrae, she came last in the challenge after unboxing a -$2000 card to close things out and had to suffer a hilarious forfeit as a result. The popular streamer was given a creepy easter bunny costume after the scores were finalized and she was forced to remain dressed in the suit for 24 hours as punishment. However, despite losing in the competition, Valkyrae did not seem too fazed by the forfeit and was surprisingly happy with the costume – putting it on during the video. “I love it but the mask is scary though,” she said. The streamer recently opened up about her decisions to depart from the original 100 Thieves content house and explained why she was looking forward to reuniting with her fellow creators.

Valkyrae & Sykkuno confused by lyrics in Corpse Husband’s Poltergeist song – Dexerto
Valkyrae & Sykkuno confused by lyrics in Corpse Husband’s Poltergeist song YouTube: Valkyrae, Corpse Husband / Twitch: SykkunoCorpse Husband released his original song ‘Poltergeist’ on April 8. Although the track has received ample praise from fans and friends, Valkyrae and Sykkuno are a little confused by the lyrics. Corpse Husband is breaking back into the music scene following his viral voice acting debut in Funimation’s Tribe Nine anime. On April 8, the faceless influencer released his latest song, ‘Poltergeist,’ a track featuring Corpse’s signature deep vocals backed by a dark, trap-style beat. The song has been praised across social media, with the likes of streamer Karl Jacobs, Sykkuno and more promoting the single to their own fans… but it looks like Sykkuno is a little confused about the lyrics. Sykkuno confused about what a ‘bando’ is in Corpse Husband new song During a stream with Valkyrae, Corpse, and Miyoung, Sykkuno admitted that he wasn’t exactly sure what a “bando” was. “The part with the ‘bando’ was really good, but I don’t know what a ‘bando’ is,” he said, drawing a laugh from Corpse. “But that part was really good.” “Yeah, I agree,” Corpse joked. “The what?” Valkyrae asked incredulously before going on to listen to the song herself. “What is that?” “There’s one part where he sings about it,” Sykkuno continued. “I don’t know what any of it means, but it’s really good. He’s going in. I don’t know what he’s talking about, but you can tell he’s going in.” The part of the song Sykkuno is referencing is as follows: “You’ve never seen a trap or a bando / Only time you pull the strap is when you’re wearin’ velcro” For those unaware of the slang term, a “bando” is another name for an abandoned house — the same thing as a “trap,” or trap house, generally used as a venue for illicit activities. Sykkuno’s wholesome confusion about the term definitely made for a humorous moment between the group of streamers… but this song is just one of many more to come, according to a deleted tweet from Corpse Husband.

Valkyrae stunned as Addison Rae launches new blue light skincare product – Dexerto
Valkyrae stunned as Addison Rae launches new blue light skincare product Instagram: valkyrae/Addison RaeValkyrae was left absolutely perplexed after TikTok star Addison Rae announced her new skincare product to protect from ‘blue light’ — just months after Valkyrae was widely criticized for the same thing. In October 2021, Valkyrae announced the launch of a skincare product called RFLCT, in which the primary aim was to protect young people from the dangers of blue light pollution that is emitted from screens. While she was excited about the project, the backlash quickly piled on and the entire product was canceled less than two weeks later. While Valkyrae has since felt more comfortable cracking RFLCT jokes on stream and being open about the ordeal, she was shocked to see Addison Rae following in the same footsteps. https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1488635776170696708 Called ‘Screen Break’, Addison’s product is marketed very similar to Rae’s RFLCT. It’s aimed to protect against blue light pollution, as evidenced in the name of the product. While those familiar with the RFLCT drama are confused by Addison’s decision to go ahead with this, despite the backlash Valkyrae received, few are as confused as Valkyrae herself. “IM REBRANDING TO JUST VALKY LOL HOW IS THIS REAL?!” she asked on Twitter after catching wind of Addison’s latest venture, even adding that she “wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same company.” IM REBRANDING TO JUST VALKY LOL HOW IS THIS REAL?! I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same company🙃 https://t.co/aK074ioDUs — RAE (@Valkyrae) February 2, 2022 She even changed her Twitter name to ‘JUST VALKY’, making a joke about the situation, dropping the ‘Rae’ that she shares with Addison. Valky’s frustration with the situation is understandable. After spending so long working on RFLCT and seeing it be shut down so quickly, it’s not hard to see why she might feel a bit put out about another influencer capitalizing on the opportunity. Now, the question is whether we see Addison Rae receive as much backlash as Valkyrae did.

Valkyrae stunned after Bella Poarch sends her a surprise visitor during her stream – Dexerto
Valkyrae stunned after Bella Poarch sends her a surprise visitor during her stream Instagram: Bella Poarch/ YouTube: ValkyraeYouTuber Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was blown away after her mom suddenly appeared on her doorstep thanks to her friend and TikTok star Bella Poarch. Bella Poarch and Valkyrae have struck up a strong friendship that has melted the hearts of their fanbase. The pair have sent the internet wild with their numerous collaborations together including when they teamed up for a Valentine’s Day-themed photo shoot and when Valkyrae made a cameo in Poarch’s ‘Build A Bitch’ music video. So, it’s no surprise that fans were won over once again by the duo as Poarch flew in Valkyrae’s mom to visit the YouTuber before she left for Japan. Bella Poarch sends Valkyrae surprise visitor Valkyrae was livestreaming on July 6 when she suddenly received a phone call from Poarch. She was then intrigued as the ‘Inferno’ singer said she had a “surprise” waiting outside. After Valkyrae disappeared from the camera to check out the mysterious gift, screams of delight could be heard in the distance, much to the confusion of her viewers. She quickly came running back to her stream with her mom in hand and, understandably, couldn’t contain her excitement. She was also puzzled as to “how” her mother managed to end up on her doorstep. Valkyrae revealed that she let out such a piercing scream at first because her mother was “hiding in the bushes” and jumped out to scare her as she looked for Poarch’s present. The YouTuber then took to Twitter to share her shock following the eventful stream. She added she “couldn’t believe” Poarch had arranged for her mother’s visit just before she leaves for her trip to Japan with OfflineTV. https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1544524959208202241 Valkyrae’s viewers urged her to “end the stream” as soon as her mom arrived so they could spend some quality time together. However, given how Valkyrae will be taking a 3-week break from streaming while she’s in Japan, she proclaimed that she was going to keep on streaming so her fans had as much content as possible before her big trip.

Valkyrae is starting to stream less: “I’m trying to do other things with my life” – Dexerto
Valkyrae is starting to stream less: “I’m trying to do other things with my life” YouTube: 100 ThievesYouTube star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has been streaming for years as her dream came true. Now she’s looking to find balance in her life, pulling back her streaming schedule to “do other things” outside of going live. Popular 100 Thieves streamer Valkyrae has been in the streaming game for around eight years now. She’s grown into a giant in the industry, boasting over 3.7 million subscribers and a recipient of TGA’s Content Creator of the Year Award. Though she’s created a robust community of viewers through streaming, she has a lot of other variables in her life keeping her busy — thereby warranting her desire to decrease her livestream hours. Since moving to YouTube from Twitch, Valkyrae has been streaming mostly gaming content due to the difficulty in getting IRL streams together. This was brought up in a recent broadcast — before leading to a bigger discussion. “On YouTube, there’s an extra step the IRL backpack has to go through,” she explained. “And it’s just, the delay is too much. Reading chat is unbearable for me. I can’t even communicate with chat when I IRL stream.” It’s not just IRL streaming though, but playing games on broadcast and everything in between. The star was quick to assert that she still enjoys the job, but she’s trying to expand her horizons and find balance. “Some people think I don’t like streaming — I do like streaming. It’s just, I’m trying to do other things with my life now.” Valkyrae then talks about her burnout from streaming: “We’ve been full time streamers for over eight years. And when we first started streaming, I had multiple jobs and streamed nine hours a day every single day.” She may return to streaming her usual hours, but there is a requirement — finding something enjoyable and new again, like Among Us or Valorant at their peaks. “I think once there’s a really really fun game that I’m excited to play, I’ll over stream a bit? As of right now, there isn’t anything new or exciting for me.” Keep in mind, Valkyrae wants to stream less, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be making less content: “I don’t have to make YouTube videos, but I’ve been enjoying it. So I’m just trying to do things that I enjoy, balancing and stuff.”

Valkyrae stream snipes Miyoung on Twitch to join IRL birthday celebration – Dexerto
Valkyrae stream snipes Miyoung on Twitch to join IRL birthday celebration Twitch: kkataminaYouTube star Valkyrae stream sniped her friends to link up with them and celebrate Twitch streamer Miyoung’s birthday in a hilarious turn of events. Valkyrae is one of the most popular streamers on YouTube, and on top of her 3.7 million subscribers, she also has a pretty big friend group. Rae is almost always hanging out with her buddies either online or in real life, many of whom are fellow streamers. Her friend group, commonly called the ‘amigops,’ generally consists of Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, Disguised Toast, and others. On November 9, Rae opted to hang out with Sykkuno, Fuslie, and Twitch star Miyoung to celebrate Miyoung’s birthday. The troupe decided to meet up at The Grove, a popular outdoor shopping mall in the Los Angeles area. Miyoung, Fuslie, and Sykkuno decided to grab cupcakes at Sprinkles, a gourmet cupcake confectionery located near one of the entrances to The Grove. Miyoung streamed their hangout on Twitch so fans could celebrate with them. At this point in the stream, Valkyrae hadn’t shown up yet. Valkyrae stream snipes Miyoung in hilarious IRL birthday celebration In an attempt to find her friends, Valkyrae tuned into Miyoung’s live stream and was able to determine their location literally from the pattern of the stones in the ground. She ran into frame right as the group headed to Sprinkles, prompting some laughs from her buddies as she explained how she managed to find them. “I was looking at the brick pattern!” Rae explained before giving Miyoung a huge hug and an excited “Happy birthday!” Valkyrae’s addition to the squad made for a humorous (and chaotic) birthday stream for Miyoung, who streamed the rest of the group’s shopping adventures in The Grove (more specifically, at the large Barnes & Noble there). Valkyrae’s latest birthday antics follow the star’s viral recreation of ‘The Luddy’ dance, which has taken the streamer space by storm.

Valkyrae sparks concerns from fans after claiming she “hears voices” at night – Dexerto
Valkyrae sparks concerns from fans after claiming she “hears voices” at night YouTube: ValkyraeFans of YouTuber Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter are growing concerned after a clip from her broadcast surfaced where she claimed she undergoes auditory hallucinations at night. It’s safe to say that Valkyrae is on a roll right now. The YouTuber, who won TGA’s 2020 Content Creator of the Year and is one of the net’s most watched women in gaming, is gearing up for the launch of her very first (and highly anticipated) merchandise line. Between appearing in multiple music videos (with the likes of Machine Gun Kelly) and modeling for Gucci, Valkyrae is well on her way to mainstream fame — but her fans are concerned about her health amid all her hard work. During a recent broadcast, Valkyrae admitted that she experiences some auditory hallucinations before she goes to sleep at night, and usually only when she is extremely tired. “Sometimes, when I’m about to sleep, I hear voices in my head,” she revealed. “Does that happen to you guys? I keep thinking to myself, ‘I’m just tired. It’s just my brain. Nothing is actually talking to me.’” “I can literally hear random voices speaking,” the YouTuber explained. “Like, in my ears! It happens when I’m so, so, so tired. I’m so confident that nothing is actually speaking to me, I think it’s just in my head, trying to fall asleep type of thing.” “It happens a few times, and it’s so creepy. I try not to let myself psych myself into thinking it’s anything more than my brain shutting up and going to bed.” At first, fans asked Rae if she was okay — but her testimony has prompted quite a few of her viewers to come out with their own stories of such experiences, citing sleep paralysis, tinnitus, and other occurrences. Hearing voices can be caused by the brain being in a part-awake, part-dreaming state when one is extremely tired, and can be experienced by 80% of normal people suffering from sleep deprivation. Valkyrae is certainly not alone in her experiences, and fans are wishing her a good night’s sleep and some well-deserved rest as she amps up to launch her upcoming merchandise in just a day’s time.

Valkyrae left speechless after massive $200k donation on-stream – Dexerto
Valkyrae left speechless after massive $200k donation on-stream YouTube: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was left speechless after an anonymous donor made a massive $200,000 donation to her fundraiser in support of Sean ‘JackSepticEye’ McLoughlin’s Thankmas charity drive. The festive season is fast approaching, and popular YouTuber JackSepticEye has once again launched his annual Thankmas charity drive to raise money for families around the world who cannot secure adequate housing. Valkyrae is doing her part to help the cause, too, by kicking off her own fundraiser for the event. However, she was left speechless and brought to tears after an anonymous donor surprised her with a $200,000 donation. “What!?” screamed Rae in utter disbelief as the donation popped up on the top right-hand corner of her screen. At first, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing and had to look twice. “I’m going to throw up. There is no way. Is that real?” she added. “It’s anonymous. Anonymous donated $200,000.” The anonymous donor left a message that said: “Thanks for building homes, which means a lot to me. Also, you need to raise your goal!” “How do you have $200,000 to donate?” beckoned Rae. “That’s crazy! What the heck! That’s actually crazy. That’s so nice.” At that point, she couldn’t hold back the emotion. Tears started streaming down her face. “Thank you. Every $10,000 is one home, so that’s literally 20 homes. Did I math that right? That’s so nice and so generous.” The relevant part of the video begins at 27:00. The Community Director at Tiltify, the fundraising platform handling the donations, confirmed that the donation was “legit.” It blew her original goal out of the water, so they urged her to raise it, which she did. “That’s so cool,” said Rae, succumbing to the emotion once again. The current goal is now set at $300,000, and it’s tracking well thanks to all the extra attention the $200,000 donation has brought to the cause. More than $7 million has been raised overall, which is almost five times larger than the $1.5 million raised last year.

Valkyrae slams misogynistic hate after becoming 100 Thieves co-owner – Dexerto
Valkyrae slams misogynistic hate after becoming 100 Thieves co-owner YouTube: 100 ThievesRachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has hit out at critics who claimed she only became a part-owner of esports org 100 Thieves because she is a woman. In a male-dominated industry, it’s massively important to see female content creators thriving in streaming. Statistically, nobody has done this more so than Valkyrae, who recorded over 12 million hours watched in the first three months of 2021, overtaking Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys as the most-watched female streamer. In another key milestone in her success, Valkyrae became a co-owner of 100 Thieves – the brand she has been streaming under since 2018 – in April 2021. This presented a new way of imagining how esports teams could be structured, and this approach has been widely praised in the gaming community. But despite this insane level of success, Rae has still been forced to defend herself from misogynistic comments, the latest of which condescendingly attributed her stardom to her being a woman. After 100 Thieves published a video charting an incredible year for Rae, Hofstetter hit back at misogynistic criticism. “TDLR; easiest way to become a co-owner of a multimillion $ company is to have tits,” the comment allegedly said. Read More: Is Valkyrae moving to Las Vegas? – Rae responded: “These types of comments downplaying success because of who you are will continue FOREVER, no matter what. If we’re all gunna get s*** on regardless, might as well get yo bags at the same time.” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1390772949179797504 The hater’s comment prompted an outpour of support for Valkyrae across the community, with fellow content creator Janet ‘xChocoBars’ Rose suggesting the commenter “won’t see an ounce of abundance or good fortune in their life.” Read More: How does Valkyrae make money? – This is far from the first time the Game Awards’ Content Creator of the Year has been faced with hateful comments from internet trolls. Back in April, she also suggested she may end up quitting social media entirely after a strange mixup involving TikTok star Addison Rae and Minecraft content creator TommyInnit. Valkyrae’s popularity with fans has led to her becoming the definitive “Queen of YouTube“, and you wouldn’t bank on misogynistic hate getting in the way of her inevitable future success.

Valkyrae’s ex Sonii vows to explain relationship “bullsh*t” on Trainwreck’s podcast – Dexerto
Valkyrae’s ex Sonii vows to explain relationship “bullsh*t” on Trainwreck’s podcast Instagram: SoniiMichael ‘Sonii’ Sherman has hinted at plans to give his side of the story in regards to the well documented relationship he had with fellow content creator Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter. Sonii and Valkyrae were once one of streaming’s power couples. After four years together though they broke it off in 2020, and the two haven’t really spoken much about it since. However Sonii is starting to voice his side of the story with rumblings slowly emerging and rumors spreading. During a recent Twitch stream, Sonii spoke about his past relationship with Valkyrae, hinting he is planning on speaking on their old relationship more in the future. “People be saying sh*t”, began Sonii. “I should go on Trainwreck’s podcast. I should. ‘If she’s doing it, why can’t you?’ I mean it’s insanity bro. It’s actually insanity.” Sonii went on to say that he doesn’t “want to talk about it right now”. However, it appears that it is something he stills wants to talk about more in the future. “I might have to just say my piece in response to kind of the bullsh*t that I’m hearing.” Fans were split on the issue, with many being quick to defend Valkyrae. Some pointed out Sonii has spoken about her and their relationship on multiple occasions since she chose to end things, while she remained relatively quiet outside of a few comments. Sonii and Valkyrae dated for over 4 years before Rae decided to end their relationship in 2020. Since then Rae has spoken out about the toxic nature of their relationship and how Sonii’s insecurity negatively impacted her own self esteem and her ability to build friendships with other men. As a result, Valkyrae has said that she has “high standards” for future partners and when exploring new relationships. While Sonii may have been hinted at a future appearance on Trainwreck’s podcast is in the works, nothing has been confirmed yet. However, time will tell when and what he has to say about his former relationship and what “bullsh*t has been said about him.

Valkyrae blasts “gross” viewers after accusing Sykkuno of cheating at Battleships – Dexerto
Valkyrae blasts “gross” viewers after accusing Sykkuno of cheating at Battleships Streaming star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter hit out at her chat for being “disgusting” after they called her bad and accused Sykkuno of cheating all while playing a friendly game of battleships. YouTube streamer and co-owner of 100 Thieves, Valkyrae was just playing a few fun, casual matches of battleships with her pal Sykkuno as they dipped their toes into something new. It was all fun and games until her chat took things a little too seriously. After making a mistake while playing, Valkyrae’s chat started flaming her, immediately changing the usual relaxing atmosphere of the stream. Her chat began getting mad, calling her bad at the game, and even going as far as to say that Sykkuno was stream sniping and cheating. https://youtu.be/Tsrk-WxDVpw?t=82 While Sykkuno took a quick bathroom break after the game, Rae began having an honest talk with her chat. “You guys really suck, I get it, I make mistakes. I’m not a battleship professional and no, Sykkuno was not cheating! Why would we cheat? We’re literally friends and we’re just playing a game,” he said. “You’re so gross, I cannot believe how gross some of you are. You’re so nasty, get out of here.” Last year, she signed a multi-year streaming deal with YouTube, and while she’s seen huge growth since, not everything has been sunshine and rainbows on YouTube. From an entirely different community to a lack of infrastructure compared to Twitch, it’s fair to say there’s a lot to be worked on. A major one of them being chat features. “I think it’s YouTube chat honestly because I don’t see my other friends chat being like this and it’s kind of embarrassing. You guys are supposed to be the representation of how YouTube streams can be,” she said. https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1421322427351539715?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1421322427351539715twgrtwcons1_c10&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comwp-adminpost-new.php Shortly after the stream, Valkyrae decided to private the VOD, followed by an influx of tweets from her alt account, apologizing for the “bad vibes” of the stream. https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1421321453962629126?s=20 https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1421322919116894211?s=20 In the past, Rae’s viewers have taken heed of her annoyances, so they’ll probably switch things up when she goes live next. As for the Twitch-like features to control chat, that falls on YouTube to implement.

Valkyrae slams “embarrassing” chat hoppers for bothering other GTA RP streamers – Dexerto
Valkyrae slams “embarrassing” chat hoppers for bothering other GTA RP streamers Instagram: Valkyrae/RockstarTwitch star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter called out some viewers for being “embarrassing” and chat hopping during her GTA RP stream, making other streamers think she was annoyed with their interactions. As the world of GTA RP has continued to grow and grow, massive streamers like Valkyrae have gotten involved and become immersed in the world of NoPixel. Aside from dealing with in-game interactions that can make or break a storyline, streamers also have to deal with their chats. Some viewers just want to watch and enjoy the action, but others try to get involved through back seating and chat hopping. The latter, where viewers jump into another streamer’s chat and either give them information about things they don’t know, or berated them for upsetting their favorite streamer, always causes plenty of issues, and Valkyrae had to call it out again. During her May 29 stream, the 100 Thieves co-owner was up to her usual criminal shenanigans when a cop, RatedEpicz – who she regularly plays with when he uses his criminal character – started joking about with her. Rae ended up in prison, and some of her viewers sent messages to the other streamer, suggesting she was upset with what had happened. He even messaged Rae about it, and she was taken aback by that. “You guys told Randy I was pissed? I actually can’t,” she said. “I wasn’t actually pissed, (I was) literally trolling, everything is fun and games. It’s honestly so embarrassing that you guys stream hop and do that s**t. Stop.” Timestamp of 3:56:50 Even though she jumped off GTA RP and started playing Valorant, Rae addressed it again. “It is embarrassing when chat stream hops and stuff,” she continued, pointing out that RP is just RP. “I pretended to be pissed, I wasn’t actually pissed at him. He trolled me… it actually makes me cringe when I talk about it, so I don’t want to talk about it.” Rae isn’t the first streamer to have deal with chat hoppers, nor will she be the last. It’s something that happens to everyone, and while streamers try and reign them in, and it always happens because fans want to be too involved with what’s going on in RP.

Valkyrae slams “fake drama” with GTA RP streamer Lyndi caused by fans – Dexerto
Valkyrae slams “fake drama” with GTA RP streamer Lyndi caused by fans YouTube: ValkyraeStreaming star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is one of the most popular broadcasters out there right now — but internet fame can, at times, lead to unwanted drama. Valkyrae is unquestionably one of the biggest names in the streaming world. After leaving Twitch to stream exclusively on YouTube, the 100 Thieves broadcaster-turned-Co-Owner was crowned ‘Content Creator of the Year’ at the 2020 Game Awards and even became the internet’s most-watched female broadcaster that same year. Boasting over 3.4 million YouTube subscribers, it stands to reason that Rae has a ton of fans who are highly invested in her streaming career — but sometimes, fans can take things too far. In a July 25 broadcast, Rae revealed that she was “exhausted” due to ongoing drama that she claimed was created by members of her community and other viewers, stating that they’d fabricated tension between herself and fellow streamer Lyndi during a GTA RP session. “I think I am very mentally exhausted from the internet recently,” she admitted. “Very, very exhausted. Apparently, Lyndi — the girl I was roleplaying with yesterday — a lot of people were stream hopping and starting some weird, fake drama, saying that she hates me IRL.” “I think it’s my community,” she continued. “My people — not just my people — but a lot of people tend to not differentiate roleplaying vs IRL… I just feel really bad. I feel responsible.” Rae isn’t the only one who’s spoken out on the drama; Lyndi herself reacted to the rumors during her own broadcast and hit out at those responsible for spreading the drama in a heated statement. “I have never said anything bad about Valkyrae,” Lyndi said after uttering some exasperated expletives. “I f**king love Valkyrae. I watch her streams. I think she’s a f**king woman. She’s a role model. I love her. She’s a boss babe!” “If you come at me thinking I’ve said anything bad about Valkyrae, you have me all the way f**ked up!” she added. “Grow the f**king hell up!” This isn’t the first time Valkyrae has expressed frustration with the internet and all the drama it can bring; the streamer hit out at demands from viewers in early June, claiming she “felt like a zoo animal” catering to their whims. Luckily, Rae has been met with a ton of support and positivity from fans after expressing how she feels, and it seems like there’s no bad blood between she and Lyndi whatsoever.

Valkyrae shocked as Sykkuno throws her surprise birthday party in Rust – Dexerto
Valkyrae shocked as Sykkuno throws her surprise birthday party in Rust Instagram: valkyrae/SykkunoRachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter was left completely shocked when a bunch of streamer friends in her Rust server, including the likes of Sykkuno and Bnans, threw her a surprise birthday party in-game. Valkyrae has quickly become one of the biggest streamers in the world, posting incredible viewership numbers since her move to YouTube and creating some excellent content in a variety of games along the way. Now, Rust has become a super popular game for streamers, following the likes of Among Us that Valkyrae previously played, and Rae is once again at the forefront. In a server with fellow streamers, all her peers got together to throw Rae a party, complete with decorations, cake and everything else you would see at a traditional party. Spearheaded by the likes of ash_on_lol and KristoferYee, they wanted to make this birthday one to remember. Sykkuno & more throw Valkyrae a birthday party In a server with the likes of Sykkuno and Corpse Husband, you might be mistaken for thinking these people have bigger things going on given how big they are. That said, they’ve all come together to make the tremendous effort to make sure Valkyrae has a birthday to remember, successfully keeping it under wraps. Finally, the big plan came to fruition on January 8, as the clock struck midnight and it officially became Valkyrae’s birthday. Sykkuno and friends stood with bated breath as they waited for Rae to turn up, making sure the moment was perfect, and when she finally arrived the celebrations began, with all of the members jumping around, dancing, playing music and celebrating like it were a real party. Valkyrae reacts to surprise birthday party Clearly none the wiser as to what was going on, Valkyrae was almost speechless when she went in and saw the big ‘Happy Birthday’ banner and Sykkuno and friends called out to surprise her. She quickly darted around the room, commenting on how everything in there was “so cute,” including the artwork and the wall of signatures signed by everybody in her group. There was even cake, too, though Rae was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t edible. All in all, this was impressively put together by Sykkuno and co. They managed to keep it a secret and really pulled off something huge for Valkyrae to make her birthday feel far more normal than she would have expected in these turbulent times. If this proves anything, it’s that we all need friends like Sykkuno, Bnans, AriaSaki, and the rest. Also, that cake shouldn’t be provided if it’s not edible.

Valkyrae shuts down notion that her and Pokimane are “fighting” over xQc Kick signing – Dexerto
Valkyrae shuts down notion that her and Pokimane are “fighting” over xQc Kick signing Twitch: Pokimane / YouTube: ValkyraePopular content creator Valkyrae has shut down those who think her and long-time friend Pokimane are fighting after viewers noticed that Poki called out Rae for congratulating xQc on his Kick deal despite his reputation for streaming gambling. xQc recently signed a deal with Kick, one that could net him as much as $100 million in two years, or perhaps even more, as he has since teased. In light of this, many other content creators have pipped up, sharing their thoughts on the new deal and weighing in on whether or not they would be interested in jumping to the up-and-coming platform. One such streamer who had a lot to say about the deal was Pokimane, with the content creator shutting down the idea that she would ever join Kick. Dexerto previously reported how Pokimane said “ I am good as I am. Why would I compromise my morals and ethics for more money when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me personally.” Recent Kick signing Amouranth was quick to respond to Pokimane’s comments, stating that she is likely throwing her name into the conversation to help gain “clout.” However, yet another streamer has now involved themselves in the recent xQc Kick signing drama. Valkyrae and Pokimane have seemingly hashed it out after Poki questioned why Rae was happy for xQc, despite being openly against gambling on stream, something that xQc has been known to get in trouble for in the past. Valkyrae and Pokimane go back and forth online following xQc Kick backlash A new Twitter thread seemingly cleared up the conversation, with Rae posting further details about the recent discussions she had with Pokimane and that there appears to be no bad blood between two of the most well-known female streamers in the business. “I talked more about the subject for an extra 10 min which unfortunately isn’t shown in the clip but she questioned via DM because she knows I’m against streaming gambling and was wondering my stance on why I supported xQx and Kick (which I also explained on stream after the clip). I shouldn’t have even mentioned our private convo but if anything it shows her consistency on and off cam.” She then added, “Can the girls stop fighting [please].” Later in the same feed, Valkyrae further explained her position on gambling and why she takes particular issue with those who do so during live streams. “Let me clarify a bit… I love gambling lol. I just don’t personally stream it because somebody watching may be prone to getting heavily addicted and losing their life because of it. Also, I think there’s a huge difference between slots and poker since poker requires skill.” For all the latest streaming news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Valkyrae is seeing therapist over RFLCT drama: “I’m in a terrible place” – Dexerto
Valkyrae is seeing therapist over RFLCT drama: “I’m in a terrible place” YouTube: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has been visiting a therapist over trauma and “mental damage” sparked from her RFLCT skincare controversy, the 100 Thieves co-owner revealed in her return to YouTube streaming on November 2, which she nearly couldn’t do. The whole RFLCT saga, from the launch backlash to ongoing questions about Valkyrae’s integrity and character have taken their toll on the YouTuber. On October 19, stream-queen Valkyrae lifted the lid on her long-hyped two-year project: RFLCT, a skincare brand designed to “protect gamers from blue light glare.” Only, the online world wasn’t as excited — the product came under fire immediately, with many dubbing it a “snake oil” scam. Valkyrae went dark — outside one “tell-all” stream she now regrets — and RFLCT’s powerbrokers stuck to their guns for nearly two weeks. In the end, however, the skincare brand eventually shut its doors on October 29. Now, a fortnight after the whole affair, Hofstetter has returned to streaming and since revealed to her YouTube fans just how badly the controversy affected her. The biggest fallout for Valkyrae, she revealed in her November 2 return, was struggling with “trauma.” The 100 Thieves owner feared, for a time, that her career was all but over, and her image damaged beyond repair. She admitted: “I’m going to therapy… I’ve got a lot of trauma. “[After the RFLCT controversy], I became very depressed. I have depression,” the star continued. “I’ve really been having a bad time… I do think I have mental damage from all of this, for sure. I got very lucky in that there wasn’t a lawsuit [for the break] or anything, but I’m still in a terrible mental place. “I know it’s only been two weeks and it will get better… but it was a big mistake, and it’s really left me in a terrible place. I have to give myself time.” Related segment begins at 17:14 in Valkyrae’s stream below. Valkyrae also confirmed that RFLCT had shut its doors on October 30, as reported by Dexerto at the time. According to the 100 Thieves owner, the skincare brand has “started to pull their products out of more than 400 stores.” The biggest victory for Valkyrae, she revealed, was that it was a “clean break,” with her lawyers and RFLCT management setting on a split rather than a lawsuit. “I’m not perfect,” she admitted, “and I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I was incredibly naive [to get involved with RFLCT], and it’s been a big learning lesson. I’m going to be more careful with everything moving on now, that’s for sure. I’m naive, impulsive, and too trusting. Toast told me the last one. “It’s crazy figuring out just how dumb and naive you are, how naive you can be,” she added. “I can’t trust myself anymore. I just can’t do that anymore.”

Valkyrae set to take lengthy streaming break for “exciting” opportunity – Dexerto
Valkyrae set to take lengthy streaming break for “exciting” opportunity Instagram: Valkyrae100 Thieves co-owner Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed that she will be taking a month-long break from streaming this May after announcing she has accepted a mystery opportunity outside of the country. Valkyrae has gained mass popularity over the last few years after becoming one of the first large creators to switch to YouTube Gaming and then becoming co-owner of 100 Thieves alongside CouRage and Nadeshot. Throughout those years she has ‘broken’ the internet with photoshoots and even dove down the rabbit hole of GTA RP after re-signing with YouTube Gaming for another two years. After taking a break from streaming before her announcement in January, Valkyrae has revealed that she’s going to be taking another one in May — this time for a month. Valkyrae reveals month-long stream break On March 30, Valkyrae posted on her alternate Twitter account that she had been offered a month-long opportunity that will take place outside of the country. She said: “I was just offered an opportunity to do something that may take over a month to complete AND out of the country. Exciting but scary and how am I supposed to stream? Lots to think about. AHHHHHHHHHHH I ALSO DONT KNOW WHEN AND IF I DO IT AND WHAT IS LIFE?” https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1509343699813154820?s=20&t=1mLz0Ul1z9SIY_DN1LktpA During her stream on March 31, she revealed she made the deal official. She will be taking a month-long break from streaming during the month of May but hopes to be active on Twitter and Instagram. “So the thing on my alt account that I tweeted about, I found out the date. I will be gone for about a month beginning on May 2, 2022,” she said. “I won’t be streaming, but I hope to be active on Twitter and Instagram. It’s going to be a very long time. We still have a month until then, though!” (Topic begins at 1:44:10 in the video) While it’s unknown what the opportunity actually is, being gone for a month could mean that it’s a pretty unique opportunity. We’ll have to wait to see what the YouTube star has up her sleeve.

Valkyrae secretly met up with Corpse Husband and their fans are losing it – Dexerto
Valkyrae secretly met up with Corpse Husband and their fans are losing it Twitter: Valkyrae / YouTube: Anthony PadillaRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and Corpse Husband have been a dynamic duo for a long time now, but she dropped a massive hint that they finally met in real life, and fans are losing it. Valkyrae and Corpse Husband first met after he was invited to join her crew in an Among Us lobby. Since then, their friendship has blossomed into what it is today. He even asked her to represent him in his music video. But despite being good friends for more than a year, they’ve never met in person. Corpse’s chronic illness and fear of being exposed to fans have made it difficult. Fans speculated they met in May 2021, but it has been debunked. However, Valkyrae dropped a massive hint on stream implying that it has finally happened. She was careful with her words, but diehard fans understood what she meant and lost their minds. “I did meet a few people this week,” she said. “I did meet a few people and I love my friends.” At that point, it seemed like she was just talking about another routine catch-up with her crew. But what she said next was the real kicker. “I no longer have my silver brick. That’s all I’m going to say,” she added. Fans immediately knew what it meant; Corpse has been obsessed with her silver brick for a while. She promised she’d give it to him if they ever met in person, and apparently, she did just that during a secret meet-up last weekend. Corpse has wanted Valkyrae’s silver brick for so long, and not only did he get it, but he finally got to meet her, too. He hasn’t confirmed it himself yet. However, that hasn’t stopped fans from gushing over it. “This made me so happy. I love that they’re all supportive of each other,” wrote one fan. “I’m so glad they got to hang out in person at last. I’m sure it was especially nice for both of them. What a beautiful friendship!” wrote another. It’s not the first time Corpse has met one of his friends in real life. In March 2021, he met Sykkuno in-person to hand-deliver some merchandise. Back then, Corpse told fans their meeting went “exactly” how fans thought it would be because “we’re both very very awkward, reclused people.”

Valkyrae roasts Pokimane haters after ‘no makeup’ tweet goes viral – Dexerto
Valkyrae roasts Pokimane haters after ‘no makeup’ tweet goes viral Twitter: Valkyrae, PokimanelolYouTube streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter roasted Pokimane haters on stream after Poki posted a ‘no makeup’ photo on Twitter. While Valkyrae is on YouTube and Pokimane just re-signed with Twitch, their difference in platforms hasn’t kept the two top female streamers apart. Just recently, ‘Rae joined Poki’s stream in person to go over her unban requests, commented on her collaboration with Jidion, and left her a caring voice message after Pokimane dealt with late-night harassment from a stranger. During her February 15 stream, Valkyrae roasted the Twitch star’s haters after she shared a ‘no makeup’ tweet with the caption “this face makes more money than you’ll ever see in your life.” For those who aren’t aware, Pokimane is often sent this photograph of herself by haters, mocking the way she looks without makeup. this face makes more money than you’ll ever see in your life pic.twitter.com/ZB1dtKexr8 — pokimane (@pokimanelol) February 15, 2022 Valkyrae roasts Pokimane haters While live-streaming her playthrough of GTA RP, one of Valkyrae’s viewers mentioned in chat that Pokimane posted a somewhat controversial tweet. “Someone said Poki tweet? Bro. She’s so hot for this.” Rae responded. “I mean, she’s not wrong. You know.” The 100 Thieves co-owner quickly gave her opinion about Poki’s ‘no makeup’ picture. She said: “She looks so like a normal person here. I can’t believe people try to use this against her. Like, these fricking crawly ass, rat looking, trash, sewer, stinky boys act like this is below normal.” (Comments begin at 1:28:41 in the video below) Another viewer said in her chat that the “flex was cringe,” causing Rae to begin ranting before quickly stopping herself from causing any more drama. Pokimane’s makeup-less photo began making its rounds on social media shortly after she received a “hate raid” from Twitch streamer Jidion, with himself and many of his community members changing their profile picture to it. Jidion was banned from Twitch permanently and eventually met up with the OfflineTV co-founder in person, recording their time together for a video on his channel. In the video, the two talked about the situation, enjoyed a Chick-Fil-A mukbang together, and even planned on Poki making the controversial tweet as soon as the video went live.

Valkyrae ruthlessly rejects viewer’s bizarre prom date request – Dexerto
Valkyrae ruthlessly rejects viewer’s bizarre prom date request Instagram: Valkyrae / PixabayRejection is never fun for anyone, especially when it’s executed publicly. A fan’s dreams were left in tatters when Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter brutally rejected their prom proposal live on her stream. As statistically the most popular female streamer out there, Valkyrae is no stranger to receiving bizarre messages from fans in her chat. In fact, due to YouTube’s lack of moderation tools for streamers, she’s been forced to keep her chat on members-only mode for the foreseeable future. However, this system hasn’t quite done the trick of filtering out all the bizarre comments from chat. While queueing up for a Valorant game, she received one from a fan desperately looking for a prom date. The message read: “Will you go to prom with me? I love you by the way.” Without a moment’s hesitation and with no holding back, Valkyrae gave the prom hopeful eight pretty funny, and real, reasons why she would not go to prom with them. “No,” she said, immediately after reading the request out to her audience on stream. “One, I don’t like school dances. Two, I think it’s very creepy to go out of state as a girl to a random school dance with a bunch of people I don’t know and I’m not comfortable with and also with someone I don’t know.” “Three, I don’t like school dances. Four, I’m too old. Five, I don’t like school dances. Six, I’m kind of busy. Seven, the virus. Eight, time.” It’s fair to say the 29-year-old isn’t exactly the biggest fan of school dances, which is something many of her viewers can probably empathize with to some extent. Read More: How does Valkyrae make money? – Either way, this is not the first time Valkyrae has been given a bizarre message in her chat, and you’d be a fool to bet on it being the last.

Valkyrae’s RFLCT brand ‘effectively terminated’ after skincare launch backlash – Dexerto
Valkyrae’s RFLCT brand ‘effectively terminated’ after skincare launch backlash RFLCTRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter’s RFCLT skincare line website and products are no longer available as the brand has been ‘effectively terminated’ amid the backlash. Ever since she first announced her RFCLT skincare line on October 19, Valkyrae has been faced with constant backlash due to some of its claims. She’s broken her silence multiple times since and even flirted with the idea of leaving the contract. Now, the products have disappeared from the internet. Both the RFLCT website has been taken down, and the products have been removed from ULTA’s online store — RFLCT’s retail partner. Twitter user ‘luminirae’ was one of the first to point it out on social media. “The website restarted to timer again for the RFLCT site is gone. What could this mean?” they wrote. The conversation continued on other social media platforms too as fans quickly suggested that the products had been axed. As of October 30, the RFLCT site has been updated with a statement noting that the products are “no longer available” for purchase. “While we believe in the formulations created, after further reflection, have decided to move forward on new paths, effectively terminating the RFLCT brand,” they say. On November 2, Valkyrae returned to YouTube and confirmed she’d cut ties with the company. “RFLCT is no longer, we officially separated, without a lawsuit! They pulled all their products out of 400 stores” she said. “It was a clean break. It took a long time, all the lawyers and stuff, but we did it. I’ll never forget. I got really lucky that there wasn’t a lawsuit, but I do think that I have mental damage from all of this, for sure. She also revealed the situation has put her in a “terrible mental place,” which prompted her to seek therapy.

Valkyrae roasts Disguised Toast for having to “cheat” in Elden Ring competition – Dexerto
Valkyrae roasts Disguised Toast for having to “cheat” in Elden Ring competition YouTube: Disguised Toast / ValkyraeYouTube streamer Valkyrae hilariously called out Disguised Toast after the OfflineTV star resorted to sneaky methods to win his Race to Kill Elden Ring Boss Invitational. For many players, their first experience jumping into FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is getting crushed by the infamous Tree Sentinel side boss. The Golden Knight is deviously placed at the entrance of the game’s tutorial area and can wipe characters out in seconds. Twitch creator Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast‘ Wang challenged fellow streamers Ludwig Ahgren, Sykkuno, kkatamina and Valkyrae to see who could beat the nefarious NPC first. The 100 Thieves owner roasted the OfflineTV star, however, for “cheating” in his own competition. Valkyrae calls out Disguised Toast for “cheating” in Elden Ring competition The OfflineTV streamer organized the Elden Ring competition in March and challenged his friends to take on the difficult FromSoftware boss using the game’s Wretch Class. Armed with nothing but a giant club, the streamers competed to see who could beat the infamous knight on horseback terrorizing Limgrave. During the Invitational, Valkyrae teased Wang after he had used a sneaky tactic to get a leg up on the competition. “NO! Toast is cheating! Going over VOD footage is kind of cheating. Because you’re watching the movement of the enemy. This is kind of practicing isn’t it?” she joked. After calling up Toast about it, the Twitch streamer told her it wasn’t “against the rules”. Hilariously, the 100 Thieves owner sniped “Okay fine! I will also look up VODS as well.” Wang then responded, “I was looking up your VOD actually of beating the Tree Sentinel, so now I know what not to do.” Their hilarious banter had their viewers in stitches. In the end, Disguised Toast ended up bringing down the Tree Sentinel first after a close race between him and Ludwig. Following his victory though, Sykkuno also teased the OfflineTV Creator for his tactics. “Wait, Toast won his own competition, doesn’t that seem a little rigged? I did see him watching a YouTube video on the boss” Sykkuno exclaimed while laughing. (Topic starts at 12:16) Of course, Valkyrae and Sykkuno were just joking and the whole thing was in good fun. Watching a VOD of an Elden Ring boss before you fight them isn’t technically cheating, although the purest Soulsborne fans might have something to say about that. Considering the competition ended in just an hour, it’s pretty impressive that the streamers managed to defeat the Tree Sentinel that quickly with nothing but a loincloth and club. The group had so much fun, they teased a potential sequel to the contest – which would be really exciting.

Valkyrae reveals why she’s not planning on getting anymore tattoos – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she’s not planning on getting anymore tattoos YouTube: ValkyraeValkyrae confirms that she doesn’t plan on getting any new tattoos, with her decision apparently influenced by her disliking one she already has. Tattoos are more common than they have ever been, with lots of influencers and content creators sporting ink on their bodies. And while Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is one such content creator, she has announced that she will be holding off anymore ink. When playing a game of who is most likely to, Rae – joined by Fuslie, Sykkuno, Yvonne, Miyoung – posed the question, “who is most likely to get a bad tattoo?” Fuslie holds up a sign of Rae, which prompts Rae to retaliate jokingly. But before things get more heated, Rae allows her friend to explain the logic behind her decision. “I don’t think Rae would get a bad tattoo but she has explained in the past that she has this one and you clearly said yourself that you didn’t like it or something,” Fuslie states. Rae then admits that she does “have a bad tattoo” but chooses to elaborate further on the issue. “I don’t like it but assuming because I’m no longer getting any more tattoos I don’t care either of my tattoo thing.” And while Rae may have no plans to get more tattoos of her own, she seems more than happy to encourage her fellow content creators to get them. Just recently, she almost forced Ludwig to get a tattoo of the Twitch logo during the YouTubers November 20 Subathon charity event. Valkyrae reveals YouTube is working on its own version of Twitch Prime and gifted subs – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals YouTube is working on its own version of Twitch Prime and gifted subs YouTube / ValkyraeStreaming superstar Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has teased that YouTube is working on its own version of Twitch Prime, as well as gifted subs. YouTube Gaming is gradually becoming the go-to platform for some of the world’s biggest streamers including Warzone star DrDisrespect, 100 Thieves co-owner Valkyrae, and more recently, DrLupo and TimTheTatman. As the platform continues to grow, in-demand features like clips and subscriber-only chats have been added to keep up with Twitch, and now it seems as though a Prime-like membership is also in the works at YouTube. During a stream on September 22, Valkyrae discussed the features currently available on YouTube with her viewers and confirmed that the popular video platform is working on gifted subs and “some sort of” Prime membership. “We don’t have a Prime yet,” she said, “[but] YouTube is working on gifted members and some sort of Prime that’s not a Prime.” Topic starts at 45:00 While there’s no information about what this “Prime that’s not a Prime” membership could include, we can look to the benefits offered by Twitch Prime – now officially known as Prime Gaming – as a jumping point of sorts. One of the main features included with Prime Gaming is that members get one Twitch channel subscription to use every month. Alongside that, there are also free games and in-game loot for titles like Genshin Impact. We’ll have to wait and see whether YouTube’s new Prime-inspired membership includes any of these features, or goes in a slightly different direction, but YouTube has shown in the past that it’s listening to viewer requests. Back in May, YouTube launched subscriber-only chat in an attempt to keep up with its rival Twitch, with Global Head of Gaming Ryan ‘Fwiz’ Wyatt teasing that more highly-requested features will be coming soon.

Valkyrae reveals why she’ll never get plastic surgery – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she’ll never get plastic surgery YouTube: ValkyraeYouTube star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed that she’s never been under the knife for plastic surgery — and explained why she never has plans to do so. Valkyrae is one of YouTube’s most popular streamers and one of the most-followed women in gaming entertainment. After signing an exclusive deal with the platform in 2020, the 30-year-old influencer went on to model for Gucci, appeared in two major music videos, and even started her own merch line. Being such a prominent online figure certainly sparks a lot of attention, often leading to question and answer sessions with her curious fanbase of 3.6 million subscribers. Valkyrae says she won’t get plastic surgery During a recent live stream, one fan asked if Valkyrae had ever gotten lip fillers. Hofstetter claimed she was totally flattered by the question and admitted that she’s never undergone any kind of cosmetic procedure. “You think they look good to the point that you think they’re fake?” she replied. “I don’t have any plastic surgery or fillers or anything. … I wear makeup and I dye my hair, that’s about it.” The streamer went on to claim that she never wants to have cosmetic surgery after revealing that she’d initially entertained the idea for when she starts to age later on in life. “I’m not going to,” she explained. “One: I’m too lazy. Two: I don’t want to feel any pain. Three: I don’t like needles. It is what it is. When I hit menopause, that brick wall, it’s gonna happen, and it is what it is.” “I will buy my 50 cats and I will be alone forever,” Rae joked. “That is the plan.” Rae’s honest response to her fan follows influencer Alissa Violet’s recent rhinoplasty — after which Violet jokingly claimed she could “smell colors.”

Valkyrae reveals why she’ll never cut her hair short – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she’ll never cut her hair short YouTube: ValkyraeYouTube queen Valkyrae explained why she isn’t interested in getting the big chop, laying out a long list of requirements that’ll have to happen for her to consider cutting her hair short. Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is one of the biggest streamers on YouTube with an iconic look to match. Throughout her career as a top-tier streamer, Rae has rocked her head of long, thick hair. While she’s dyed it from time to time — most recently going from dirty blonde to dark brunette — she’s always had long hair, and according to her, this isn’t gonna change anytime soon. She spoke about the topic during a recent live stream with fellow broadcaster Miyoung, who chopped off her hair into an uber-short pixie cut over the Holidays. When asked if she’d ever undergo a similar hair transformation, Valkyrae gave an immediate, “No!” Valkyrae says she won’t get short hair She then laid out a lengthy list of things that’d have to happen in her life for her to even consider getting the big chop. “If I’m like 75 and I have 17 kids, 15 cats, five husbands — yeah, I might just cut my hair then,” she explained. “It’s because I have naturally curly hair,” she continued. “It would be an afro. It would just go, ‘Poof!’” “That’s very different than your first few answers,” Miyoung joked. “Let me tell you what.” “Also, my hair grows really slow,” Valkyrae added. “And I don’t take care of it, so I get split ends a lot, and so my hair doesn’t grow. So, I would if it grew back [faster].” Although Valkyrae isn’t too interested in transforming her style, Twitch star Pokimane notably shocked her viewers after showing off her naturally curly hair back in November 2021 — which came as a big shock at the time, as the broadcaster normally straightens her hair before going live. TikToker Addison Rae also threw fans for a loop in December after rocking a pixie cut wig for a photoshoot, leaving some viewers convinced that she’d actually chopped her hair off with no warning (like Dixie D’Amelio, for instance, who buzzed her hair short amid her breakup from Noah Beck).

Valkyrae reveals why she made the choice to leave Twitch for YouTube – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she made the choice to leave Twitch for YouTube Instagram: ValkyraeNewly-minted YouTube star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has now officially left Twitch after five years on the platform, and revealed during her first broadcast on January 14 why she made the call to swap streaming sites for good. In the latest defection in the streaming wars, Valkyrae made the choice to join fellow 100 Thieves creator Jake ‘CourageJD’ Dunlop on YouTube. On January 14, her life with the new site began, and she lifted the lid on her reasons for the change. According to Hofstetter, there were a few key elements involved in her move, including the offer of more freedom, and “financial security” – Valkyrae is reportedly receiving just under $1 million per year for the swap. https://twitter.com/Valkyrae/status/1216759009383874562 “Obviously, obviously, obviously we’re not going to beat around the bush — there was some financial stability, it now helps me and my family,” she said. Valkyrae has supported her mother full-time for the past three years, after her mom lost her job. The 28-year-old revealed her YouTube deal was enough to alleviate the stress that came with supporting herself along with her family. “My mom is pretty much my baby now,” she continued. “It’s really cool that I can help her entirely without her worrying about getting a job, because she’s sick and not as young as she used to be, she’s in her 50s now so that’s nice for her.” Financial security wasn’t the only reason behind her high-profile defection, the 100 Thieves star added. There was also the “creative freedom” YouTube had offered, from “not having to worry about numbers” to “expanding content.” “I’ve been a gamer my whole life, but there’s a lot of things that I want to do beyond just streaming,” she said. “I feel like [here] I can expand my brand more. I want to get into fitness and beauty, and I feel like I can blog more here.” When fellow 100T creator Courage left Twitch for the red halls of YouTube, he admitted part of the change was due to “struggling with numbers” on the Amazon-owned platform. It’s a feeling Valkyrae also echoed after her move. According to the former Twitch star, who dabbles in everything from League of Legends to Just Chatting vlogs, the idea that she could do anything during her stream, and play any game, without having to “fear the metrics,” was “liberating.” “That was the biggest thing for me, really, not having to worry about numbers anymore… I don’t have to worry subscriber count, or view count,” she said. “It takes all the worry away. I can just focus on the content I make, and I can literally have fun, produce as much as possible for you guys, and make stuff that I’m proud of. I think that’s the biggest thing for me.” Valkyrae continued on that she was already planning on dipping her toes into some other types of videos, including making music, and voice acting. She also expressed interest in her beauty vlogs, which she’s been keen on for some time. On top of her own content, the swap also lets her spread her wings alongside the rest of the 100 Thieves quarter in Courage, Brooke, and organization founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, all of whom just moved to a new house in Los Angeles. “There’ll be a lot of new stuff,” she teased to end her explanation. “The YouTube team has been so attentive, and they listen to everything I say. Lots of really cool stuff on the horizon, a lot of potential stuff in the far and/or near future.” “I feel relieved,” she added. “It’s just an amazing feeling.” https://youtu.be/ZquaiTjXlRw?t=3457 For now, the YouTube’s newest star is just settling into the process around the streaming service, and is working with the site to “make sure everything keeps improving” as her fanbase moves across with her. Valkyrae isn’t the only star to have been poached in the past week either, with Australian duo Lannon ‘Lazarbeam‘ Eacott and Elliot ‘Muselk‘ Watkins putting pen to paper with the video-hosting giant in exclusive deals too. With YouTube flexing their muscles again, it’s only a matter of time before the next streamer announces a big move — the only question now is: who’s next?

Valkyrae reveals why she canceled plans for month-long streaming break – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she canceled plans for month-long streaming break YouTube: ValkyraeYouTube star ‘Valkyrae’ had plans to take an entire month off from streaming this summer for an “exciting” opportunity — but a month later, she claims she’s canceled the trip. This year has already been a big one for Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hoffstetter. The 100 Thieves co-owner landed her first-ever voice acting role in a major anime series, renewed her contract with YouTube, and broke the internet after releasing a Valentine’s Day photoshoot with Bella Poarch. However, that was far from the end of her success story, as on March 30, she claimed she might have to travel out of the country for a month due to an “exciting” opportunity. https://twitter.com/itsraechill/status/1509343699813154820?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1509343699813154820twgrtwcons1_&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comentertainmentvalkyrae-set-to-take-lengthy-streaming-break-for-exciting-opportunity-1796108 That being said, she was initially hesitant to take the plunge, openly worrying about how she’d be able to find time to stream while being busy with another project overseas for an entire month. It looks like Valkyrae has officially decided to shelve the project, completely, as she revealed during a live stream in late April. Valkyrae explains why she isn’t taking month-long streaming break According to the streamer, she simply didn’t feel comfortable enough taking off so much time when she had other obligations to take care of back home. “I feel extremely relieved,” she admitted. “We went back and forth, and going over other things I needed to do during that time… there was other stuff happening. I was kind of weighing the pros and cons of things.” “That particular opportunity changed a bit,” she continued. “It’s also something that, at the time, I liked the idea of it, because I had a whole month to prepare for it, but it was coming down to a few weeks of me needing to leave and everything kept changing.” Ultimately, it came down to the fact that she “no longer felt comfortable about doing it anymore.” Luckily for fans, it seems like Rae will be sticking to her usual streaming schedule — and lucky for her, she doesn’t have to stress out about putting her obligations on the back burner for something else. This would have marked Valkyrae’s second break of the year, after her initial break earlier this year ahead of her signage with YouTube.

Valkyrae reveals why she had to sleep with a knife beside her – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she had to sleep with a knife beside her Valkyrae YouTube100 Thieves co-owner and star YouTube streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter brandished a gigantic knife on stream after a sketchy night in her LA home, telling fans why she had to sleep with it beside her. Valkyrae is one of the most recognizable faces in the streaming industry and has accrued a giant fan base over the years. Unfortunately, we’ve seen bad actors in some of those fan bases take their actions too far against the social media personalities they follow. The 30-year-old 100T exec was cautious of something like that happening on the eve of her Feb 23 stream after hearing a strange sound in the middle of the night. “I slept with this because we heard a really loud noise,” Valky explained. She went on to say, “It sounded like someone was breaking in last night… We slept with all the lights on.” After investigating the strange sound, members of the streaming house thought it might have been raccoons invading the trash cans, which admittedly didn’t get put out for its weekly pickup. But they couldn’t confirm their suspicions. Luckily, Valkyrae has made it a habit of picking up massive blades, which she displays on the wall, for this particular occasion. “It was kind of nice,” she explained. “Because I did feel like someone was breaking in and I really liked that I went and grabbed my knife off the wall like I always envisioned.” Valkyrae showed her stream the gigantic knife she chose in her moment of valiance that, luckily, didn’t have to be used. (Clip starts at 10:30 for mobile viewers) There are years worth of reports from streamers, both with large and small audiences, who have had concerning episodes with their followers. Pokimane has been the recipient of such encounters along with TikTok personalities like Charlie D’Amelio. Even though Rae has security systems set up for her home address, the streamer seemed more than prepared to use her arsenal in case anything should happen.

Valkyrae reveals why Fuslie had to call 911 in the middle of the night – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why Fuslie had to call 911 in the middle of the night YouTube: Valkyrae/Twitch: Fuslie100 Thieves Co-Owner Valkyrae has revealed why Fuslie had to call 911 after the fire alarm woke them up in the middle of the night. In early 2022, Valkyrae went through a series of house transitions that saw the YouTube steamer in the OfflineTV house before moving into a place with Sykkuno, Fuslie, and Kkatamina. However, Sykkuno announced on April 16 that he was moving back to his house in Las Vegas, claiming that the move was just a “business trip.” This leaves Valkyrae with Fuslie and Kkatamina in the Los Angeles house. During a recent steam, Valkyrae explained exactly why Fuslie had to call 911 in the middle of the night. Valkyrae explains why Fuslie called 911 Shortly after Rae began her April 27 stream, she revealed the situation. “This is why I’m so tired,” she explained. “We had a fire alarm go off at four in the morning. So yesterday, we had multiple photoshoots for 100 Thieves. I got home, stayed up till about 1 am, and then tried going to bed. All of us got woken up at four in the morning because of the fire alarm,” she said. “It’s saying ‘warning, carbon dioxide levels are high.’ and there was a helicopter outside… “I was so tired that I went to the alarm to try to figure it out. I also heard Leslie downstairs gasping for air and being dramatic. It was ridiculous. I was really tired, so I just went back to bed.” (Topic starts at 8:01 in the video) Valkyrae went on to add that Leslie figured it out by calling 911 as they went to stand outside of the house. Luckily, the fire department explained that they weren’t in any danger and that the alarm was triggered due to a power outage. This event comes just weeks after Rae revealed she had to sleep with a knife beside her due to “strange noises” coming from outside — afraid that someone was breaking into the house.

Valkyrae reveals why she’s been having a “rough” time after YouTube move – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals why she’s been having a “rough” time after YouTube move Instagram: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed to her fans she’s been having a “rough” time streaming recently, both because of her move to YouTube, and the decision for her and her partner Michael to end their four-year relationship. The 100 Thieves creator made a major move in her career in January, binning Twitch and her time there for “financial security” and “creative freedom.” Soon after, the 28-year-old also left the 100T house, but stayed with the org. It hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the streaming star, however, as she revealed to her fans in an emotional livestream on March 2. In the broadcast, Valkyrae revealed her and long-term boyfriend Michael ‘sonii’ Sherman had split. As well as the separation — the couple’s second high-profile split in nine months — Valkyrae also revealed she has been struggling with the “rough” swap to YouTube, and admitted she has been battling with actually getting on-stream. “I’m not playing games right now, I just really wanted to stream and open up a bit on all of this with you,” she said on March 2. “I’ve already cried gallons and gallons of tears. I’ve lost so much weight, I’m just skinny. I’ve just been so low.” According to the streamer, the past month of moving away from Twitch has been “difficult,” not least of all because her platform jump came at the same time as her move to a new house alongside Michael. There, the couple soon discovered they had “noisy neighbors” who were keeping them up at night. Adding to that, Valkyrae revealed she had planned on being at the 100 Thieves content house more, but those plans soon flew out the window. “It’s been hard on me… I really thought I was ready for this. I got really stressed and scared because I did plan on living in the 100 Thieves house, I didn’t plan on living here, so obviously this was supposed to be my office,” she said. On top of that, Valkyrae and Sonii found themselves talking about their relationship again, and this time they made a more final call: Michael would move out of the house, and they would stop talking to each other completely. “Michael, my boyfriend of four years, we’ve been having a lot of issues with the neighbors… anyway, he’s moving away. In the past weeks, we’ve been trying to decide whether we should still be together. It’s just not working,” she said. All of this happening over the past few weeks has basically put a halt to Valkyrae’s YouTube streaming train. The 28-year-old even took a three-day hiatus from all social media, before admitting she felt “weird” to stop completely. “All this is why I haven’t really been streaming, and I haven’t been focusing. I hope that makes sense. I’m sorry for neglecting you guys, I’ve been a bad streamer and content creator. I feel really guilty about that too,” she said. “I know I’ve been absent, and I’m sorry. I’m going to work on being better… the switch from YouTube has made me feel like I’m on an island, but I want to fix that now. I want to focus on being better now, and I will focus on myself for once.” For mobile readers, the related segment begins at 7:43 in the livestream VOD below. She also added that she is “never going to quit trying to be better than before” in a text post shared on Instagram as the 100T star returned to social media. “I’m doing my best to figure out life, and the perfect stream and video upload schedule.” For now, though, Valkyrae fans may have to expect a bit of a staggered video schedule as the YouTube streamer adapts to single life “for the first time in like 15 years.” She’s ready for the new stage of her life, she said, but it takes time. “This will be a good time for me now to focus on working, streaming,” she concluded. “I want to keep making things for you, and sharing everything… maybe I’ll even try that new Riot one, Valorant? I might have to learn FPS games.” Valkyrae isn’t the only newly-minted YouTube star to speak out about their struggles recently either — fellow 100 Thieves personality Jack ‘Courage’ Dunlop admitted he has “fears” about “going live” at the moment. Courage’s situation is a little different, but maybe Hofstetter accidentally mentioned a good solution for both their problems. Dunlop wants to find new games, and Valkyrae needs new distractions: maybe Valorant will be the key?

Valkyrae reveals where YouTube falls short against Twitch – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals where YouTube falls short against Twitch YouTube: Valkyrae100 Thieves star Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has explained what she misses most about Twitch now that she’s streaming on YouTube while also revealing that changes are coming to YouTube’s streams. Twitch has always been the premier location for streamers, even though other platforms have tried – and failed – to usurp them as the top dogs. In the last few years, YouTube has been gaining ground on Twitch – signing some top streamers – but they are still quite the ways behind the Amazon-owned platform. Even though they’ve added some of Twitch’s most popular features like emotes, clips, subscriber-only chats, and drops, YouTube still has some changes to implement that will make streamers feel like they’re on familiar ground. During her March 11 appearance on the Scuffed Podcast, Valkyrae revealed that she misses a few things that make Twitch as good as it is, even though YouTube is making changes in the future. Read More: 100 Thieves sign Love or Host’s AustinShow – “The culture. We have no emote culutre, we have no hosting, we hardly have a directory on YouTube. I don’t even know who streams on YouTube because I can’t find people!” Rae said when asked about the biggest differences between the two platforms. “They’re working on everything. It’s just so far behind like culture-wise like you can use my emotes only in my chat and there’s no BTTV. That’s like something I really miss about Twitch is the emote culture, the chat culture,” she added. “Chat carries the streamer, I really believe that.” As Rae notes, even if YouTube makes changes and adds Twitch-like features, it’s hard to replicate that chat culture that Twitch has built up over the years. It doesn’t matter if you’re watching a big esports event or a small streamer with 50 viewers, there’s always chat spam going down on Twitch. It might take the arrival of more former Twitch streamers to make it happen, but who knows if moves will be made.

Valkyrae reveals true feelings on RFLCT drama in leaked Discord messages – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals true feelings on RFLCT drama in leaked Discord messages YouTube: Valkyrae / RFLCT CollectionRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter’s true feelings on her ongoing RFLCT controversy have been revealed via a series of Discord leaks between the under-fire 100 Thieves co-owner and Twitch star Ludwig from October 27. Just over a week ago, Valkyrae released a skincare line she had rubber-stamped as co-owner: “RFLCT,” designed to protect gamers from blue light glare. The 100 Thieves star came under scrutiny for the new product almost immediately, with many dubbing it “snake oil” and accusing her of deliberately scamming her young audience. The problem many had was peer-reviewed studies have suggested blue light is inconsequential to skin health. In the ensuing RFLCT backlash, which still has yet to truly die down, Valkyrae claimed — in a careful Oct. 23 stream — she’d “seen the research,” but has been considering reducing her involvement slightly. Leaked messages between Valkyrae and Ludwig tell a different story though; one that suggests she’s trying everything in her power to abandon the $4m RFLCT ship. The leaked Valkyrae-Ludwig DMs, accidentally revealed by Atrioc while using Ludwig’s PC, reveals a conversation between the two streamers about Hofstetter’s RFLCT controversy. In the Discord messages, sent on October 27, Valkyrae admitted she “really messed up trusting [the people involved in RFLCT’s launch], and has been talking to her lawyers about breaking her contract entirely. “They [ULTA] just don’t understand how this RUINS my brand,” the 29-year-old wrote in several leaked Discord messages to Ludwig. “I really needed [all the RFLCT research] to be public. ULTA invested $4 million so it’s like, why wouldn’t they make it legit? Why would a company invest in something like this if they didn’t believe the research? Valkyrae also admitted she made a mistake not doing her own digging: “I’m so dumb. I should have asked more questions, I just thought [the info] would be there.” The only option left, Valkyrae continued in the leaked messages, was to “embrace the scammer life, get out of the contract, and admit I’m an idiot.” Luckily for the 100 Thieves co-owner, who most definitely remains a figurehead at the booming esports organization despite rumors she’d been dropped for the controversy, there are options for her, though most are legal avenues. The biggest one, Valkyrae explains, is because she forgot to sign a document. “[ULTA] hate me for leaving the contract, but it’s looking possible, so I’m hopeful,” she revealed. “Apparently, I didn’t sign one of the contracts, so I have leverage.” Right now though, Valkyrae has just found herself bogged down in legal red tape, as marketing gurus from ULTA look to spin yet another statement for her to put out so both parties can save face in any potential divorce. For now, the 100 Thieves star is stuck going “back and forth with PR people and lawyers” trying to form a statement. According to the YouTuber, RFLCT is “trying to get [her] to say the dumbest shit,” including more support for the anti-blue light skincare product, and well-wishes for the ULTA team. Earlier this week, Valkyrae shot down ‘cash grab’ claims: “I don’t need money… this wasn’t about money. I was excited to be part of something revolutionary.”

Valkyrae reveals “unbelievable” plot twist with past GameStop coworker crush – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals “unbelievable” plot twist with past GameStop coworker crush YouTube: 100 ThievesYouTube star Valkyrae opened up about one of her past relationships before reaching internet stardom in a story that 100 Thieves founder Nadeshot called “unbelievable.” Before becoming a famous YouTube streamer with over 3.6 million subscribers, Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter worked at GameStop. The 100 Thieves co-owner, voice actress, and Gucci model has come a long way since those days, which she opened up about during a recent video with fellow influencers Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag and Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu. During the course of their conversation, Valkyrae revealed that she’d actually had a crush on one of her coworkers at GameStop back in the day. Her manager eventually “pressured” the two to date. “We ‘dated’ for two months,” she explained. “We would just walk around and hang out. We were friends. Like, actually friends.” However, she couldn’t help but notice that during this two month period, her ‘boyfriend’ wasn’t exactly as affectionate as she’d thought he’d be. “He wouldn’t even hold my hand,” Valkyrae said. “After two months, he finally kissed me,” she continued. “We had a conversation the next week and he was like, ‘Uh, I just want to let you know that I’ve been really confused and I’m pretty sure I’m not into women.’” Ultimately, Hofstetter was relieved that she was able to help him out and wished him well. “I was like, ‘Oh, you know what, I could definitely tell, and that’s okay!’” she recalled. “‘That’s great. That’s fantastic. I’m happy I could help you figure that out.’ I actually helped this guy discover himself.” “Wow, Rae,” Nadeshot said of the story. “That’s actually unbelievable. You’re helping out the cause. Love that!” (Topic begins at 3:07) She went on to explain that her past crush has since found a boyfriend and is “really happy.” For now, Rae herself has claimed that she’s currently single — something she chalked up to her potential as an upcoming voice actress in a hilarious conversation with fellow streamer LilyPichu.

Valkyrae reveals the “biggest regret” of her streaming career – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals the “biggest regret” of her streaming career YouTube: 100 Thieves CastValkyrae opened up about her “biggest regret” in her career as a top-tier streamer. But it wasn’t about turning down a lucrative brand deal… Instead, it was a romantic relationship gone sour. Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hoffstetter is one of the most prolific names in the online streaming space. Winner of the 2020 Content Creator of the Year award, Valkyrae is also co-owner of esports & entertainment giant 100 Thieves, has modeled for Gucci, and now is under an exclusive streaming contract with YouTube Gaming. Although she’s an extremely successful influencer, Rae has had her fair share of regrets about her life as a top star — her biggest one being a past romantic relationship. Valkyrae says “toxic” relationship was “biggest regret” of her streaming career Valkyrae opened up about this particular relationship during an episode of the 100 Theives Cast, calling it “toxic” and one of her greatest regrets, as it potentially held her back from lucrative collaborations and big steps in her career. “My biggest regret — the first thing I thought is staying in a toxic relationship throughout my career,” she said. “And seeing it get more and more toxic and not having the strength to leave it sooner. That was definitely my biggest regret.” “But it just makes me wonder, where would I be if I was just single, focusing on my career, focusing on myself without being judged or compared in my relationship when it came to career stuff?” she added. “Dealing with insecurities with collabing and making friends with guys.” (Topic begins at 17:20) This isn’t the first time Valkyrae has mentioned her past toxic relationship; in a previous podcast, the streamer revealed that her standards for boyfriends are “incredibly high” now due to these past issues. “I’ve had relationships in the past where partners will compare their success to mine, and it sucks,” she revealed. “It actually got to a point where I didn’t even want to share anything good that was happening because it would hurt their feelings.” For now, Valkyrae is single — and although she’s still not warm on dating apps, she said she’s perfectly fine to meet someone organically in the future.

Valkyrae reveals the most unusual gift she’s received from a fan – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals the most unusual gift she’s received from a fan YouTube: ValkyraeFans across the world are kind enough to show admiration for their favorite streamers and content creators. Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter gave fans a bizarre revelation when it comes to gifts. With over 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube, content creator Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has built up a loyal base of fans. Most fans will show admiration through comments and stream donations, but some go the extra mile. Gifts can sometimes lead to beautiful, emotional moments on stream. The rest of the time, streamers are subject to an array of random, fantastical surprises. Valkyrae’s strangest gift so far While the streamer doesn’t currently have a P.O box set up, when Valkyrae lived in Texas, all sorts of presents were coming her way. Be it “four pounds of Australian candy” or “weird stuff,” Valkyrae thought she had seen it all. But a very unique surprise had made its way to her. One fan’s day job sees them working at a “box company,” where the opportunity to prank the streamer presented itself. Forming an elaborate plan to produce “custom made” boxes, with subsequent boxes inside of them, Valkyrae happened upon a strange inclusion: “a receipt for a dildo.” Timestamp of 39:15 After opening over “15 boxes”, the purchase receipt for this intimate object was an unusual addition. However, the gift’s comedic nature soon become apparent to the streamer as they got to the end of the packaging: “there a teeny tiny little letter and a flower. It was so a troll.” It remains to be seen whether Valkyrae will open up another P.O box in the future. Who knows what could happen.

Valkyrae reveals stalker flew to 100 Thieves compound looking for her – Dexerto
Valkyrae reveals stalker flew to 100 Thieves compound looking for her YouTube: Anthony PadillaYouTube streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter revealed in her interview with Anthony Padilla that she recently had a stalker fly to the 100 Thieves compound trying to find her. As content creation gains popularity with people worldwide, creators have become victims of fans obsessively stalking them. Pokimane, Amouranth, and Tana Mongeau are among the creators that have shared their scary experiences recently. During a recent interview with Anthony Padilla, 100 Thieves’ Valkyrae revealed her recent experience with an obsessed fan that flew to the orgs’ compound in Los Angeles. Valkyrae reveals stalker experience During the interview, Padilla asked the YouTube star about her most bizarre fan interaction, prompting her to share her recent story. “This actually happened relatively recently. So, I have a crazed fan who actually flew in from out of state and went to the 100 Thieves compound,” she revealed. “They warned me that this guy was looking for me and they called the cops. “He ended up staying at the airport for several days and recording videos saying things like ‘I’m not leaving until Rae picks me up, I know she wants to see me.’ and it’s really, really crazy. He’s like ‘If she goes to Coachella without me I’m going to be really really sad.’” (Topic starts at 19:20 in the video) The streamer went on to explain that she had never interacted with this person and believed he had real mental issues because he believed she wanted him to fly out to see her. She added: “Seeing his videos really reminded me that anyone can watch you and build this sort of parasocial mindset with any streamer or content creator they watch, and it’s dangerous.” This isn’t the first time Rae has dealt with a stalker, she had to make her Twitter profile private in 2021 due to someone stalking her there.
