Twitch streamer goes viral after chat trolls him with jumpscares during horror game Twitch/koooyaaOne Twitch streamer who was playing a horror game that detects live mics has gone viral on TikTok and Reddit after his chat trolled him by playing loud and obnoxious noises, which resulted in some pretty hilarious moments. Horror games that detect live mics are all the rage these days. They are nothing new, but the ability for a game to detect the noises coming out of your mic, however faint, almost always add a new level of depth to the experience. But if you’re a streamer, this could mean that you get easily trolled by your subscribers. A new clip is making its way through the internet from Twitch streamer Koooyaa and perfectly demonstrates the aforementioned problem. In the clip, Koooyaa is playing a game called Escape the Ayuwoki, which can use your mic so that the main creature can find you. During an incredibly tense moment where the creature almost finds him, a member of the chat played “fart” noise, as well as one that played Michael Jackson’s iconic “hee hee” sound. Of course, Koooyaa doesn’t react too kindly, cursing out the chat members who did it in the process and exclaiming “you guys are gonna get me killed!” While it’s unclear if the this troll was something that the streamer wanted from his viewers, regardless the result is something pretty hilarious at the end of the day. Interestingly enough, the clip itself appears to be from March but is currently going viral on both Reddit and TikTok. Currently, the video has over 250K likes on the social media platform and seems to be steadily rising, going up a few hundred every minute or so. It also has almost 900K views, meaning it’ll more than likely hit a million in due time. Here’s hoping Koooyaa make more interesting content in the future — possibly without getting killed in-game by his chat in the process.

Twitch streamer gets too excited, slices hand open with sword – Dexerto
Twitch streamer gets too excited, slices hand open with sword Pixabay / TwitchAn OldSchool Runescape streamer who was hosted by another Twitch channel accidentally sliced his finger open with a katana sword while celebrating in excitement. For smaller Twitch streamers, getting hosted by a big channel can see a huge influx of viewers visit your broadcast, which is often an exciting moment for those who find themselves thrust into the path of another streamer’s audience. It appears one streamer got a little too excited though, slicing open his finger with a katana blade moments after the host took place. A katana is a traditional Japanese sword. Streamer gets too excited when hosted on Twitch According to people who claim to have been watching the streamer while it happened, the Old School Runescape player was streaming his gameplay, when he suddenly found himself getting hosted by another broadcaster. Presumably attempting to celebrate the moment, the Twitch streamer, whose name is believed to be CloudWizard can be seen reaching for a katana blade which was sitting off camera, grabbing it and pulling it towards him. While the original clip and broadcast have been deleted, in a mirror video we can see him tilt the katana’s sheath, causing the traditional Japanese sword to fall out of its cover and towards the ground. In an attempt to save it, the streamer reached down and grabbed it with his left hand. Warning: The clip below features graphic images of the wound. Somehow remaining relatively serene just moments after dealing a horrible injury to himself, CloudWizard showed off his finger, which was covered in blood and had a deep gash down the center to his audience, calmy saying: “I just cut my finger boys. I just cut my fucking finger bad guys. “ Holding his hand, he then attempts to leave the room, struggling to open the door with his injured finger. Read More: Twitch streamer shocked by game on Steam – The clip, and the broadcast it’s from have both been removed, but a user on Reddit claiming to be his stepfather informed interested users that “this is what happens when you take your dad’s weapons not realizing it’s real. He’s doing fine and ended up getting 11 stitches. “He’s pretty embarrassed by the whole thing. He still gets shit for being a dumbass though.” A user claiming to be CloudWizard’s father stated the streamer was “pretty embarrassed.” If there is a morale to be learned from this story, it’s likely that celebrating a momentous moment on Twitch is probably best done without a massive, and deadly sharp, blade. Otherwise, you may end up in the emergency room like this poor soul.

Twitch streamer goes too far with BBQ sauce for clout – Dexerto
Twitch streamer goes too far with BBQ sauce for clout Twitch streamer Rhino_Dude69 was asked to put BBQ sauce on his chest – which ended up creating a hilariously awkward situation as viewers watched the spectacle unfold. Twitch streamers do a lot of crazy things to get popular, but this one takes the cake – or BBQ sauce, in this case. Someone from his chat asked him to put some barbecue sauce on his “tiddies” – a request he thought about it for a moment before deciding to go through with it, shocking just about everyone watching his stream. The streamer took his shirt off, and viewers immediately knew that what started as a joke had quickly turned into a reality, preparing to see something crazy happen in real time. Rhino_Dude had no intention of disappointing his viewers as he opened up the bottle of sauce, squirted some into his hands, and started rubbing it all over his chest. Luckily, he didn’t use the whole bottle, so things didn’t get as messy as they could have. The chat encouraged him to keep going, and he continued to rub in the sauce in what’s definitely one of the weirdest things you’ll ever see on Twitch. Even thinking about smothering yourself in BBQ sauce is enough to make some people jump in the shower. For what it’s worth, he does have 282 followers on Twitch, so if this is what it takes to grow, we can’t fault him too much for taking on the challenge. If it works, then you just have to respect the hustle. However, Rhino_Dude is going to have to wonder if he reached his plateau on Twitch too soon, because this stunt is going to be hard to top. Streamers blow up for the strangest of reasons, as we saw previously with the streamer who hasn’t cleaned his room in over a decade.

The company took notice of the 20-year-old’s adventure and planned a surprise to mark the 356th day of sticking to the plan. A day before the one-year anniversary, Merc wasn’t sure if G FUEL were even going to mark the feat with a flavor or anything. 365-day G FUEL challenge turns into new flavor Sure enough, the company had driven the streamer to a video shoot. What looked like a profile piece quickly turned into a surprise announcement after they dropped the curtain on the reveal on October 30. Twitch streamer furious after viewer steals YouTube milestone plaque – Dexerto
Twitch streamer furious after viewer steals YouTube milestone plaque YouTube: twomad / YouTubePopular content creator ‘twomad’ was left fuming after a viewer stole his one million YouTube subscriber plaque live on-stream. Twitch streamers often try to take every precaution possible when broadcasting live to thousands of viewers, fom obscuring their IP address to hiding their search history. However, information tends to slip through the cracks every now and then in a quick lapse of judgment. Twomad was in the midst of a celebratory stream on April 7 when he accidentally let some vital information appear on-screen. Known for prank videos, amusing commentary, and meme compilations, twomad has grown quite the following across social media. Especially on YouTube where he boasts more than 1.12 million subscribers. Upon reaching the million subscriber landmark, every YouTuber is awarded a golden plaque. This is a unique accomplishment that put twomad in rarified air, though the physical gift was snatched from him during an April 7 stream. Glossing over his creator studio on YouTube while broadcasting on Twitch, he accidentally revealed a one-time-use code to redeem his golden play button. “Don’t use my f***ing code,” he joked before realizing that the 12-digit combination had, in fact, already been stolen by a viewer in chat. “Yo, for real, don’t f*** with me,” he snapped. “That’s my one million plaque. Are you f***ing kidding me?” As he tried to redeem the code for himself, an error message appeared. A viewer from his chat had already grabbed the combination and secured the play button. “Give it back, what the f*** are you doing? Give it back you f***ing people,” he repeatedly yelled before throwing his arms up in frustration and leaving his desk. “Someone stole my 1 million subscriber code while I was livestreaming my desktop,” he later tweeted, asking TeamYouTube if they could “[please] help.” .@TeamYouTube someone stole my 1 million subscriber code while i was live streaming my desktop can you pls help :(((((((( im cryignnnnnnnnggggg pic.twitter.com/AkMvQ3iqBK — Rap God (@twomad) April 6, 2020 With such a huge following on the platform, it’s likely that twomad will be able to speak with YouTube support staff and fix the situation. After all, the content creator has video-evidence of the theft. This mishap should serve as a lesson moving forward, however, and the streamer will likely be far more cautious when sharing screens in the future.

Twitch streamer Fuslie in tears after viewers criticize her GTA RP skills – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Fuslie in tears after viewers criticize her GTA RP skills Instagram: FusliePopular Twitch streamer Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu was left close to tears when opening up to fans about negative comments she received about her roleplay in NoPixel GTA RP and has stated she will be taking a small break from it. GTA RP has been the revelation of 2021 on Twitch. With some of the platform’s biggest streamers parading the streets of Los Santos, the game has overtaken League of Legends to be the platform’s most-watched game this year. But with popularity comes scrutiny, with the likes of Summit1g being criticized for the quality of their roleplay. Leslie is one of the latest streamers to receive such negative comments. The streamer, who has over 880,000 followers, has been roleplaying with her character April. But she was left upset after she received negative comments on Twitter that said her storyline “didn’t make any sense.” “It pissed me off and it really hurt, because that s*** sucks,” she said. “What I’m upset about is me being upset by those comments. There’s no need to put my journey down to bring somebody else’s up. “That’s what’s discouraging about streaming GTA, because it’s so much fun. I love it. “I get it, my story’s not perfect and it’s chaotic, and maybe I have been rushing into things, but it does just suck. And my first thought was quitting, and I didn’t want to give in to that. “These comments weren’t even trying to be mean, they were trying to be constructive, I’m pretty sure. I’ve been playing for two weeks, I don’t know what the proper pace for GTA is, I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.” Leslie then announced her intention to take a “little break” from playing on the NoPixel server. She added: “It comes at a pretty good time for me anyway as we have the Valorant tourney so I wasn’t going to play anyway, so I might go back on Monday or Tuesday.” After a pep talk from a supportive Twitch chat, Leslie soon cheered up, and later posted a tweet thanking those around her for supporting her. I owe so much of what I have today to my friends and I’m so beyond grateful for them T__T too many to tag but shoutout to allll my OTV & friends homies 🙂 thanks for inspiring me everyday and inviting me to play games and stuff, y’all are my family ❤️ — leslie (@fuslie) April 17, 2021 “I guess if you don’t like my chaotic journey and it’s not for you, I get it, and you don’t have to watch it,” she added. While she takes a break from GTA RP, you can watch Leslie compete in the OfflineTV Valorant Invitational via our dedicated hub.

Twitch streamer furious after indefinite ban for wearing shorts & shirt – Dexerto
Twitch streamer furious after indefinite ban for wearing shorts & shirt Twitter/livstixsStreamer ‘LivStixs’ is calling out Twitch for double standards for permanently banning her over “inappropriate attire,” while Amouranth was allowed to return to the platform. On October 14, Liv was hit with her third suspension from Twitch and this time it was indefinite. To make things even more confusing, the streamer says she was wearing shorts and a shirt. The streamer was not happy with the decision and voiced her displeasure on social media, even going as far as posting photos of what she was wearing to warrant such action by Twitch. Needless to say, she didn’t hold back by any means and called out not just the Amazon-owned site, but other streamers for being allowed back on the site despite being banned multiple times. I just got an indefinite ban, only my third, and I’m wearing shorts and a shirt… What in the actual fuck @Twitch Was Amo not on her 5th and it wasn’t even indefinite?? It says for inappropriate attire but I can literally wear my outfit out of the house https://t.co/ZAaGTz7JTU — LivStixs (@livstixs) October 14, 2021 Streamer slams Twitch over “inappropriate attire” ban “I’m honestly flabbergasted right now,” Liv told Dexerto. “I got banned in a shirt that shows cleavage and a pair of jean shorts. Keep in mind, I’ve worn MANY pairs of shorts like this on Twitch in the past 4 years with no troubles.” On Twitter, Liv posted photos of what she was supposedly wearing on stream, showcasing the aforementioned shirt and jean shorts. “I had no idea today would go this way as I was preparing for a birthday stream this weekend that I rented an Airbnb for,” she added. Here’s my “inappropriate attire” that warranted an indefinite ban. What do you guys think? @Twitch @TwitchSupport pic.twitter.com/IsWoieFYbP — LivStixs (@livstixs) October 14, 2021 Twitch’s community guidelines state: “We do not permit exposed underbust. Cleavage is unrestricted as long as these coverage requirements are met. For all streamers, you must cover the area extending from your hips to the bottom of your pelvis and buttocks.” Liv says her past two bans were for “inappropriate attire” as well. The first came after she wore a bikini indoors, spending a day at the beach, and walked inside her friend’s house without a coverup on. The second came when she wore a string bikini right when the new beaches, pools, and hot tubs category was created – something she claims to have worn before. “However, the first time I streamed in the new category with the bikini I got banned,” she said. It’s unclear if at any point in the streams areas of Liv’s body were exposed. In any case, the outfit sparked debate over what’s considered acceptable when compared to other streamers such as Amouranth. And yet I only had two previous 24 hour suspensions and now they hit me with an indefinite ban. Meanwhile, Amouranth gets unmanned after her 5th and Indie got an indefinite after her 5th. The inconsistencies show favoritism and it’s pretty fucked. — LivStixs (@livstixs) October 14, 2021 LivStixs accuses Twitch of favoritism after Amouranth unban Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is well-known for her hot tub and ASMR streams, but her risque content has landed her in trouble before on five separate occasions. Her more recent ban lasted a mere three days despite Amouranth being unsure if she would be allowed back on the site. Liv was quick to blast the site for what she perceived as double standards. “Seems Twitch forgot about the ear licking and girls doing squats in hot tubs to single me out,” she remarked. And the back… Seems Twitch forgot about the ear licking and girls doing squats in hot tubs to single me out pic.twitter.com/WoA3lrmuib — LivStixs (@livstixs) October 14, 2021 “Meanwhile, Amouranth gets unbanned after her 5th and Indiefoxx got an indefinite after her 5th. The inconsistencies show favoritism and it’s pretty f**ked,” she said in response to a fan comparing her to Siragusa. The reasoning for Amouranth’s fifth ban is still unknown and Indiefoxx was indefinitely banned following six suspensions in as many months. Still, some feel that there are double standards in play. “It is extremely unfair Amouranth is allowed on the platform if I am not,” Liv added. If the ban was made in error, something that does happen from time to time, then we can expect to see Liv back on the site. However, Twitch doesn’t comment on individual suspensions, so we’ll just have to wait and see if her channel ends up getting reinstated.

Twitch streamer furious over ‘animal abuse’ ban amid Alinity controversy – Dexerto
Twitch streamer furious over ‘animal abuse’ ban amid Alinity controversy A small Twitch streamer, ‘SleepyMia’, has lashed out at the streaming platform following her ban for animal abuse. This comes amid another controversy surrounding Alinity’s behavior with her pets. SleepyMia is a smaller Twitch streamer, who had nearly 15,000 followers prior to her ban. She regularly streamed games such as The Witcher 3, as well as frequenting the ‘Just Chatting’ category on Twitch. However, on December 5 Mia incurred a ban from the streaming platform as a result of animal abuse. This led to her launching a scathing attack on the streaming platform, and their preferential treatment of Alinity, who has avoided bans despite controversy over her interactions with animals. Alinity has previously been embroiled in a number of controversies surrounding her behavior with her pets. The most recent came on December 3, when her dog interrupted her yoga pose and many felt the interaction was inappropriate. Alinity dismissed the backlash as “ridiculous”. SleepyMia has slammed Twitch for their failure to ban Alinity, after she was banned for alleged animal abuse. “I was banned for f**king animal abuse when I was playing with my f**king dog,” she tweeted. “Thank you Twitch. Me rolling and playing with my 90lbs pitbull.” Attached to the tweet was a gif of the infamous moment Alinity threw her cat overhead, for which she did not get banned. https://twitter.com/SleepyMia145/status/1203055915013955587?s=20 She elucidated on the situation, explaining that she was banned for “audible yelps” coming from her dog. These are claims she denies, explaining that her dog rarely makes noise and none of her viewers made any complaints. She also alleged that Twitch have failed to provide any clips of the incident, fuelling her anger to a greater extent. Mia also explains that the “audible yelps” Twitch heard likely came from her second dog, who suffers from a collapsed trachea and so makes some unusual sounds for a dog. https://twitter.com/SleepyMia145/status/1203056207923163137?s=20 She concluded her rant with another dig at Alinity: “Remember kids, if you’re not a precious twitch staff waifu, don’t even dare to f**king TOUCH your animals.” It is not the first time Twitch have been accused of preferential treatment, with many on the platform arguing their community guidelines are inconsistently enforced. Twitch do not comment publicly on community guideline violations, but may liaise privately with the streamer in question.

Twitch streamer freaks out after game suddenly shows nudity scene on stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer freaks out after game suddenly shows nudity scene on stream Instagram: issfanfanTwitch streamer FanFan freaked out after her playthrough of Heavy Rain caught her off guard, suddenly showing a nudity scene during her recent broadcast. As a Twitch streamer, one of the worst things that could happen is having a game or video suddenly show something that may violate community guidelines. Popular streamer FanFan had this come true during a recent Heavy Rain stream as her in-game character took off their clothes to take a shower. Being caught off guard, she promptly freaked out and her chat loved it. FanFan freaks out after game shows nudity on Twitch stream During her January 17 broadcast of Heavy Rain, FanFan was caught off guard by her character taking off its clothes. She promptly started screaming before she said: “Omg, t*tties.” Her viewers also flooded the chat with their reactions. One user said: “FanFan what are you showing us!!” “BANNED,” another commented. Dozens of her viewers were spamming “banned,” leading many to wonder if FanFan could actually get a ban for the sudden in-game nudity. According to Twitch’s Community Guidelines, games that have nudity can potentially lead to a ban. “Games are restricted from broadcast based on two criteria: The game violates our Community Guidelines as it applies to hate speech, sex, nudity, gratuitous gore, or extreme violence.” However, since FanFan didn’t pause the game to focus on her character or bring excessive attention to the game during that scene, it’s unlikely that she’ll face any repercussions. Twitch streamer Fran could be the next great female Overwatch pro – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Fran could be the next great female Overwatch pro Twitter/FranFran is one of Overwatch’s most popular players and one of the most gifted, reaching top 500 every single season. Now, she’s looking to join a team. On July 18, the streamer tweeted, “Hey guys I rly want to start scrimming and join an open division/contenders team so if anyone has any help I’d appreciate that bc I have no clue where to start.” The flex support player later updated her fans saying, “I’ve gotten a lot of people reaching out and I appreciate that so much I can’t wait to scrim!!!!” Open division teams can eventually make Contenders by doing well enough in the division to be promoted to Contenders Trials. Contenders Trials features teams who finished poorly in the previous season and as a result were relegated and forced to earn their spot again. The top Trials teams then make Contenders and have a good chance at eventually making the Overwatch League. The process has been dubbed the “path to pro”. Fran was the first to be signed by the Overwatch League team Atlanta Reign, but not as a player. Instead, she streams on behalf of the team, representing their colours and branding on her Twitch. Amusingly, former Overwatch League superstar Dafran became a streamer for the team too once he retired after playing stage one as a member of the Reign. The two met up at the Atlanta Homestand last month and appeared to get along great despite their names being so similar. If Fran manages to succeed in her pursuit of joining a Contenders team and makes Overwatch League, she will become the second female to do so. Geguri became the first female to join the Overwatch League when she was signed by the Shanghai Dragons back in February of 2018.

Twitch streamer freaks out after falling for classic internet prank – Dexerto
Twitch streamer freaks out after falling for classic internet prank Playing video games might seem like the perfect thing to do for any Twitch streamer looking to build up a fanbase on the platform, but this didn’t exactly go to plan. Those who have been playing online for quite some time might remember some of the most popular flash mini-games to have spread like wildfire, including the World’s Hardest Game, 8 Ball Pool, and The Impossible Quiz. However, not everything that you will find online will be quite as fun as those three. In fact, many PC users will also remember one of the most terrifying experiences they might have had in their youths – when a scary figure pops up on the screen. You guessed it, the Scary Maze game is back and it’s back with a bang, petrifying another poor soul in the former of streamer ‘flyingtuna’ when he least expected it. Thanks to Reddit user MooshPMC, we can see its return in style with a perfect reaction to boot. For those who have never seen this game before, players are given the chance to complete a number of different maze puzzles. It’s a strategy game by nature, but with a ticking time bomb running in the background that the user just cannot control. flyingtuna from r/osugame A scary lady, who looks as if she would fit perfectly in the cast of The Walking Dead TV series, appeared and the streamer who fell victim to the prank this time couldn’t believe his eyes. In fact, he didn’t have time to think. The player screamed right back at the scary graphic, rubbing their hands through their hair, and fled away from the view of the camera. While he might have felt somewhat embarrassed by what unfolded during his broadcast, the chat would be lying if they suggested they wouldn’t react in a similar way if they never knew what was coming. It happens to the best of us.

Twitch streamer forgets how to drink water and gets soaked – Dexerto
Twitch streamer forgets how to drink water and gets soaked YouTube: AmityAvenTwitch streamer AmityAven soaked herself after briefly forgetting how to drink from a water bottle. People have brain fart moments all the time, but rarely are these unfortunate moments broadcasted to a massive live audience. AmityAven is a streamer and YouTuber who had one of these brain farts caught live on stream, and although the brain fart moment was hilarious and made her look silly, it did help her channel go viral in the process. Twitch streamer gets soaked on accident Amity was live on September 29 during a birthday broadcast when she jokingly turned the streamer into an ASMR show. ASMR has become one of the biggest categories on Twitch, with tons of new creators popping up in the category each day. She crinkled a water bottle, and straw paper, and flicked a lighter all super close to the mic, mimicking what an actual ASMR stream would be. She then put the straw into a bottle of water and went to go take a sip when she blew water into the bottle instead of sucking it out, soaking herself and her chair in water. Her Twitch chat exploded with laughter as the streamer quickly reached for paper towels to dry herself off. One viewer said, “Well if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions!” Another said, “This is cinema!” Although the ASMR broadcast didn’t go exactly as planned, once Amity realizes you need to suck in the straw to get water, she’ll be completely prepared for a career as an ASMR streamer.

Forsen reveals Twitch ban was for watching “dubious” AI VTuber content – Dexerto
Forsen reveals Twitch ban was for watching “dubious” AI VTuber content Twitch: ForsenTwitch streamer Forsen has been hit with a surprising ban from the Amazon-owned platform, but it’s only for a week. Over the last few years, Forsen has become one of the more popular streamers on Twitch, amassing over a million followers in the process. While he’s known for playing a variety of games, he most recently made headlines after beating xQc’s Minecraft speedrun time. Forsen received a surprising ban from the platform on April 20, 2023, after watching an AI-generated video of a VTuber that was a bit explicit. Forsen banned on Twitch After it was revealed that Forsen had been banned from the platform, his channel disappeared only to show the usual Twitch message. “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” it reads. Fans of the streamer quickly took to social media to crack jokes about his ban in 2020 where he received an ‘indefinite’ ban after accidentally showing an explicit gif of a horse on stream. He was able to return to the platform rather quickly, but it appears his viewers haven’t forgotten about the infamous incident. Forsen reveals reason for week-long ban In a tweet on April 24, Forsen revealed the reason behind his ban just four days before. “I’m banned cause of the dubious ASMR youtube video for 1 week. Unlucky,” he replied. The streamer didn’t specify which video caused the ban, but many believe it was due to an explicit AI video featuring a popular VTuber. Since he was banned on April 20 for one week, Forsen’s community should be able to watch their favorite streamer yet again sometime on April 27 — or whenever he decides to go live next. Twitch streamer fires back at new Partner Plus program’s “unobtainable” requirements – Dexerto
Twitch streamer fires back at new Partner Plus program’s “unobtainable” requirements PaladinAmber/InstagramTwitch streamer PaladinAmber has called out Twitch for their new Partner Plus program requirements and describes them as unobtainable for most streamers. Earlier this week, Twitch revealed its new Partner Plus program, allowing those who qualify for the sought-after 70/30 revenue split. Streamers were ecstatic about the announcement – until they read the requirements. Twitch explains: “Partners must maintain a sub count of at least 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three consecutive months. “Once that happens, Partners will be automatically enrolled for the next 12 months, even if you dip below the subscription threshold during the 12-month period.” Another condition is that it will only be paid out until you reach $100k in revenue. PaladinAmber hits back at Twitch’s new Partner Plus program One of the streamers who has expressed their thoughts about Twitch’s new Partner Plus program is PaladinAmber. She retweeted Twitch’s announcement tweet and said: “F**k it, this was the secret deal that they offered other streamers, if you hit this quota for three months you got the deal indefinitely, now they’ve added a cap for the time period of 12 months. Meaning every year you have to hit this.” She continued: “Economically unless you’re sitting at around 1k viewers or more this is so unobtainable right now based of off individual and reoccurring subs, not gifted and not prime. People cannot afford to sub, people are canceling their subs due to financial reasons and this doesn’t help the streamers at all.” She went on to say: “NO platform deserves 50% of the income a creator derives! Saying “we give you a stage” is dog shit, you don’t give any of us a stage, you give us an empty room where we have to invite, promote, create and direct content to entice people to join and watch.” She continued to say that if she were to end up being banned from Twitch just for speaking up against the program, she would continue to stream on Kick and YouTube. Twitch worker replies to PaladinAmber’s complaints Merry Kish, a Director of Community Marketing & Production at Twitch, replied to PaladinAmber’s tweet chain. She said: “You would never get a ban from talking about rev share and what you want from a deal like this. I think the hope is that it creates transparency around a deal that was behind closed doors for so long, but I agree its a select few that can benefit from it.” PaladinAmber replied: “The hardest part is I know it’s not the employees at twitch, through and through you are all working a job to live and survive too, I just know that this will truthfully only work for those in a completely different category, than a large majority of us but I appreciate the hard work you’re doing!” “We’re all working a job to survive. How you, a streamer who makes a living off of content creation, continue to grow and be successful is my success metric. Bc if you can’t do it, I’m out of a job too. I think is a move in the right direction, but more work in growth is needed,” Merry replied.

Twitch streamer FooYa immediately regrets watching Cardi B video on stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer FooYa immediately regrets watching Cardi B video on stream Instagram: Cardi B/FooYaPopular Twitch streamer FooYa discovered during a recent broadcast that watching Cardi B videos can be a very risky thing to do during a broadcast. Watching music videos with chat is a popular way to kill time on stream with viewers, but they have to be careful to not violate Twitch’s Terms of Service while they do it. Twitch’s terms of service don’t permit any nudity, and just a few seconds after FooYa opened the first video, she realized her mistake. Cardi B videos may not be the best choice for on-stream entertainment. FooYa’s risky clicks of the day As FooYa settled in to watch the music video for Cardi B’s “Press” she seemed blissfully unaware of the TOS violation that was mere seconds away. As Cardi showed her stuff in the video, FooYa immediately realized her error and closed the video as fast as she could, while laughing hysterically. “Note to self dont watch CardiB music videos on stream,” she wrote on Twitter afterwords, but didn’t seem to heed her own advice. Note to self dont watch CardiB music videos on stream pic.twitter.com/PJLKPD1m6r — FooYa (@iFooYa) July 16, 2019 “This is a good one though,” FooYa said as she loaded up another Cardi video. “Is she naked in this one?” As it turned out, yes, there is nudity that violates the Twitch TOS in Cardi’s “Money” video and when FooYa found out all she could do was scream. “I deadass just tried to fold my monitor down,” the streamer admitted from the floor beneath her desk. Hopefully it wasn’t enough for FooYa to get banned or suspended, but you just never know what will happen with Twitch moderation. What is going on with Twitch? Twitch has had it’s fair share of content this week including an IRL streamer who stumbled upon a couple passionately hugging in a parked car. “Oh, what the f*ck,” the streamer exclaimed, pointing out what was going on to other people going by. “What the f*ck! They’re f*cking, there. They’re f*cking. That’s f*cked up!” So FooYa may have inadvertantly violated the TOS, twice, but it probably wasn’t even close to the most inappropriate thing on Twitch this week.

Twitch streamer fined by gambling authority for promoting illegal gambling site – Dexerto
Twitch streamer fined by gambling authority for promoting illegal gambling site TwitchAn unnamed Danish Twitch streamer has been fined over $1,000 as the Danish gambling authority cracked down on unauthorized gambling sites. Gambling has been becoming more and more popular on streaming sites, but also more controversial. This has prompted streamers like Dafran and Adin Ross to move over to Kick in order to gamble. Twitch itself has attempted to crack down on unlicensed gambling specifically in the US, banning a number of sites that were popular with streamers and sponsorships. Now, a Danish streamer, whose name was kept anonymous, has been fined over $1,000 for gambling on an unlicensed website in the country. Twitch streamer fined over gambling promotion In a report released on August, 30, Danish gambling authority “Spillemyndigheden” revealed that they had fined a Twitch streamer for illegal gambling. Spillemyndigheden said that the streamer had been advertising gambling sites that don’t have a Danish gambling license, which is illegal. This resulted in the police and Danish authorities determining that the streamer had “violated the law.” They fined the anonymous streamer DK 10,000, roughly $1,500 USD. But streamers are worried that this case could set a precedent for advertising gambling on Twitch, as “it is the first time the Danish Gambling Authority has reported a streamer in a case on illegal gambling advertisement.” Furthermore, Gambling streams have been a source of controversy for both streaming platforms and streamers themselves. Recently, popular streamer DNP3 revealed that gambling streams left him with a “severe gambling addiction” and “completely broke.“ In related news, Twitch has also said that it prohibits CS:GO skin gambling sites on the platform.

Twitch streamer faces backlash over custom “bits” emote used to fake $5k donations – Dexerto
Twitch streamer faces backlash over custom “bits” emote used to fake $5k donations Twitch / Instagram: redvines.fnSeveral Twitch trolls have been caught abusing the platform’s newest feature, animated emotes, by creating fake “bits” animations to bait streamers who think they’re getting massive $5k donations from new viewers. Twitch only just introduced custom animated emotes last month and they’re already being taken advantage of. As part of a 10th-anniversary celebration, the Amazon-owned streaming site allowed partnered streamers to create up to five animated emotes. Tier 1 subscribers are then able to use these animated emotes no different from the static ones. While this was intended as another means of expression, the latest Twitch feature has already led to some damaging interactions. In one particular case, a partnered streamer by the name of ‘Redvines’ used the feature to create fake bits. Rather than sending real donations, this enabled his subscribers to troll other streamers with misleading messages. View this post on Instagram “I made the $100 bit donation into an emote,” Redvine revealed in one of their most recent streams. “I’m gonna go troll some [other] streamers.” At first, he jumped into FaZe Mew’s channel and baited him with a 50,000 bit donation, the equivalent of roughly $500. Naturally, Mew was overjoyed and celebrating the massive donation at first. Just moments later, however, Redvine explained it was merely a prank. Before long, the streamer encouraged his viewers to do the same across the platform: “Clip it if you troll people, I’ll make a video lol.” Multiple streamers were soon baited by these fake acts of generosity. One example that went viral came on Emmagination’s stream. A viewer by the name of ‘EnvyTVs’ looked to have donated 540,000 bits in the span of just a few seconds. Roughly $5,400 could have been life-changing to the streamer afflicted with chronic pain syndrome, who is also at “risk of ending up homeless.” In reality, these messages contained nothing more than animated emotes. The heartbroken streamer said: “Today Twitch hit a new low for me. I was telling my community how I am in risk of ending up homeless because of my gov’s inability to support disabled people and this happened in my chat.” Today Twitch hit a new low for me. I was just telling my community how I am in risk of ending up homeless after my divorce because of my government’s inability to support disabled people and then this happened in my chat (those are animated emotes, by the way, NOT bits) pic.twitter.com/NvevZ3rBvu — Emma 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 (@theEmmagination) July 10, 2021 Just hours after the Emmagination prank went viral, Revine’s fake ‘bits’ emote has been removed, Dexerto can now confirm. The streamer, who many believe should face punishment for their actions, responded soon after. “My new emote is no longer available, thought it would be a funny prank but some people used it maliciously,” they wrote. “Sorry.”

Twitch Streamer Fedmyster Banned After Racist Text to Speech Donation Slipped Through Filter – Dexerto
Twitch Streamer Fedmyster Banned After Racist Text to Speech Donation Slipped Through Filter A Twitch streamer has been handed a seven day ban from the platform, after donation slipped through the text to speech filter and read out a racist term repeatedly. The context of the donation is critical, as Fedmyster was doing a particularly strange live stream at the time. He was staring at a canvas, with the stream titled ‘Watching Paint Dry’, and would ignore his stream entirely. This meant that all donations, chat comments, subscriptions etc. he would simply ignore, in an attempt to essentially have the most boring stream ever, ironically of course. He did however have text to speech donations on, and so a number of viewers would send in donations in an attempt to troll, but a filter was in place to prevent anything offensive coming through. More: Streamer Who Spent $5K on FIFA Ultimate Team Packs Rants About ‘Poverty Kids’ Getting Better Players – But one user managed to slip past the filter, and their $2 donation message – the ‘N word’ 18 times – was read aloud for the entire stream to hear. To resume in ‘character’, Fedmyster completely ignored the donation, making no effort to turn it off and keeping to his rule of ignoring all donations. And this is almost certainly what has lead to his seven day ban on the platform, as Fedmyster confirmed via a post to his Twitter. Going to be banned off Twitch for 7 days for some of the donations I received yesterday. Really sad about it :/ — FED (@Fedmyster) July 21, 2018 Twitch has been increasingly punitive towards all forms of offensive behavior on streams, even, it seems, when it isn’t the streamer themselves using the offensive language. It would appear that he wasn’t necessarily banned for the donation itself, but for not reacting and failing to make an attempt to mute the audio. It is a strong reminder that relying on the streamlabs filter itself to block out offensive text to speech donations is not a certain way to prevent them coming through.

Twitch streamer F1NN5TER hit with surprise ban – Dexerto

He has a huge community as well, with over 4,000 average viewers and 430,000,000 views on the F1nn5ter TikTok hashtag. On February 7, 2023, the creator’s Twitch channel was hit with an unexpected ban and fans have scrambled to understand why. F1NN5TER banned on Twitch unexpectedly At the time of writing, F1NN5TER’s Twitch channel is unavailable, showing the site’s ban message instead. “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” it reads. Twitch streamer faceplants and breaks her teeth live on Kick pool stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer faceplants and breaks her teeth live on Kick pool stream Twitter/Instagram/madihunniTwitch streamer MadiHunni bit off more than she could chew after she took a hard fall during a Kick pool stream. Kick has emerged as a big competitor to Twitch in recent weeks, thanks to its generous revenue split with streamers to put them ahead of rival services. Despite its sub-splits, Kick content isn’t normally all that different from what viewers get on Twitch, especially with the site finally cracking down on sexual acts. Speaking of cracking, that’s exactly what happened to streamer MadiHunni’s teeth during a pool stream on Ac7ionman’s channel. Streamer busts teeth after falling hard in pool stream During the broadcast, an excited Madi was hurrying over to the other side of the pool after turning up her music, but ended up tripping on the way. Right away, the streamer began to feel around in her mouth to check for damage, while others asked if she was okay. “Can someone drop some subs for my busted a** tooth?” she asked chat as she headed back towards the camera to show off her mouth. Brutally, you can see how one of her two front teeth got absolutely obliterated after the fall, but luckily she remained in good spirits. “I’m fine, but holy sh*t,” she said as she continued to compare her two teeth after the devastating fall. A clip of the incident soon spread to Reddit and Twitter, where Madi revealed that she “broke her front tooth” all because she wanted to entertain viewers. “Trying to entertain stream because Aaron was tired and frustrated. I just wanted to have fun,” she said. “I’ve got 2 busted teeth and a bloody knee but I’m fine thankfully.” The streamer went on to add that while she will need to pay for new teeth, her permanent retainer saved a majority of it. Hopefully, it won’t be long for Madi to get her teeth repaired, but this was certainly a scary incident that could have ended a lot worse.

Twitch streamer Evelone banned from trading $150k CSGO inventory – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Evelone banned from trading $150k CSGO inventory Evelone – YouTubeTwitch streamer Evelone, who has over 1.2 million Twitch followers and is one of the biggest CS:GO streamers in the CIS region, picked up a Steam community ban after being found to have apparently stolen another user’s account. He can no longer access his inventory, which is worth an estimated $155k. What could you buy with $155k? You could pick up 310 PS5s, 11,071 lbs. of m&ms, or 65% of a Lamborghini Huracan. No matter what you want to spend it on, it’s a rather large sum of money. So, to be completely banned from accessing it is far from ideal. Steam community bans don’t ban the player from playing the game. Rather, they stop the player from having access to forums, friends, and – most crucially – the trading market, which is a major part of CSGO’s culture and economy. It’s particularly damaging when you have an inventory worth such a large amount of cash. Evelone’s ban is similar to that of CS:GO trader ChiLi, who got kicked from the community for ‘hijacking of another user’s Steam account.” However, it emerged that the ban was instigated by mistake, and he was unbanned 19 days later. After 19 days my ban is lifted. Big thanks to everyone who were helping me, much appreciated. pic.twitter.com/RWXeZk7ysa— ChiLi (@ChiLi_csgo) October 31, 2020 Evelone hit with community ban from Steam Per u/iwna, Evelone picked up the community ban for ‘stealing’ another Steam user’s account. He posted on messaging service Telegram: “-12m rubles [equivalent to around $155,000], here we go, good morning.” A message from the Steam admins said: “This account has been reported to have stolen another Steam account. The account has been suspended in accordance with the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. Account blocking won’t be canceled.” It’s possible, and is being speculated, that the ban could have been placed in error, perhaps due to a spate of mass-reporting by trolls. Given Evelone is the most viewed Russian-language Twitch streamer from the past month, and his apparent friendship with Na’Vi pro player S1mple, it’s unlikely this ban will pass by quietly.

Twitch streamer KiaraaKitty criticized for pretending to have her phone stolen on stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer KiaraaKitty criticized for pretending to have her phone stolen on stream Instagram: kiaraakittyTwitch streamer KiaraaKitty has been criticized for apparently pretending to have her phone stolen during a stream, only to drop it and reveal she had faked it the entire time. Twitch is the home of the wildest and wacky content on the internet, barring the various terms and conditions placed on streamers, there’s no telling what you might find when tuning into a stream. Oftentimes, explosive or unusual content on Twitch can lead to major viewership and popularity, so streamers don’t mind and sometimes even seek out crazy content for their viewers to enjoy. This can even mean creating content that can be controversial at times, just for the sake of gaining that clout. Now, a Twitch streamer appears to have accidentally exposed their own thievery, accused of it being a ploy to get a viral clip. Streamer Kiaraakitty was studying in a library when she left her phone out. The phone, which was also her camera for the broadcast, was taken from behind, with the individual sprinting away from the crime scene, ensuring not to be caught. However, the jig was up as the thief ended up dropping the phone, causing the camera to point upward, revealing the true identity of the burglar. As it turns out, Kiaraakitty had “stolen” her own phone. KiaraKitty’s stream immediately ended at this point. Commenters have accused her of turning off the stream to avoid backlash from viewers calling her out. Kiaraakitty seemed to have found the whole ordeal rather funny, as she giggles after dropping the phone. Some Reddit users have slammed Kiaraakitty, stating the whole situation is “embarrassing” and pointing out how stupid her idea was. Some expressed frustration with faked scams and schemes on Twitch, wanting a stop to this falsified form of content. It’s uncertain whether or not Kiaraakitty will receive a punishment for her actions, but it seems that according to various commenters, her embarrassment for the situation may not be enough.

Twitch streamer Erobb gets betrayed by his body while digging massive hole – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Erobb gets betrayed by his body while digging massive hole erobb221 | TwitchTwitch streamer erobb221 was digging a hole on his Twitch livestream when disaster struck, and he had an unfortunate on-stream incident where his body betrayed him. Erobb221 has been busy since his signing with TSM. He’s been streaming almost every day of the week as of late with a focus on gaming content. But, for a recent Twitch stream, Erobb decided to do something different: digging a hole. He set out to dig a massive hole, and, well, that’s exactly what he did. However, he got off to a bit of a rocky start. Only a short time after the start of his excavation, Erobb221 got taken out of commission by some gastrointestinal issues. Erobb has unfortunate on-stream incident while digging hole Twitch streamer Erobb was putting everything he had into digging a hole on-stream. But, early on in his 12-hour long dig, his body betrayed him. Mere minutes before the incident, he claimed to have a taco in his car. Erobb returned with some Taco Bell and took a quick break to eat it. This would turn out to be a massive mistake. A streamer that was helping Erobb, Nick (nmplol on Twitch), said “You’re gonna be digging that hole and s**tting your *** off at the same time.” In an almost prophetic fashion, Nick’s prediction would come true less than 20 minutes later. At the 4 hour mark in his 12 hour dig, he stopped mid-swing with a realization, shortly followed by a fart gone wrong. It’s unclear whether the brown stain on the back of his pants was from a hard day’s work digging or from something else. Erobb221 quickly returned after the incident and got right back to digging with the help of various streamers who showed up to help through the long day of work. Day turned to night before they were done, with over a dozen people helping to dig the hole at various stages. They, at some points, hit solid rock that had to be mined through with a pickaxe. Eventually, Erobb reached his goal of digging a 5-foot deep hole and started “burying” his chat at the end.

Twitch streamer Esfand accidentally helps thief escape mall on IRL stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Esfand accidentally helps thief escape mall on IRL stream Streamer Esfand was casually walking through a shopping mall in San Francisco when he accidentally aided an apparent thief’s escape, as guards pursued. As he was leaving a store, while streaming, Esfand politely held the door open for a man who was also leaving, who can be seen carrying a tablet and a large bag. The man was being followed by two inquisitive security guards, who Esfand also held the door open for. Once the first man left the building, the two guards stopped and briefly discussed what to do, before running out after him. The guards can then be heard shouting after the man: “Get him! He just stole a whole computer.” In the stream, Esfand wanders out onto the road and looks at the security guards for several seconds before the penny drops. “Oh fr*ck, did I just pull an Uncle Ben and hold a door open for a thief? Oh my gosh.” Several comments sarcastically praised Esfand’s reaction time, and joked that the security guards should go for him as he was complicit in the crime. One Reddit user joked: “He also held the door open for the security so it cancels out.” This is not the first time Esfand has been involved in strange IRL streaming events. At TwitchCon last year, he and several other streamers were the victims of a drive-by airsoft shooting. Twitch streamer has dream come true after massive host from LoserFruit – Dexerto
Twitch streamer has dream come true after massive host from LoserFruit Twitch streamer Kathleen ‘Loserfruit’ Belsten made the dreams of a smaller streamer come true as she cut her broadcast short in order to boost the other’s viewership. Loserfruit is a hugely popular Australian twitch streamer who can usually be found playing either Fortnite, League of Legends, or Overwatch on a daily basis. She has amassed over one million followers on the live streaming platform, inspiring plenty of others from the Australia-New Zealand region to try and follow in her footsteps. One such streamer trying to follow her example is Kayla ‘KayBae’, a Fortnite streamer from New Zealand – who received quite a shock when she came onto Loserfruit’s radar thanks to the help of her viewers. 600Despite going strong during her August 17 stream, Belsten decided to cut the broadcast short when one viewer alerted her to a clip of KayBae stating that it as a dream of hers to be raided by Losefruit – stating that she’d cry if it happened. Of course, Loserfruit obliged. “Guys, I’m going to turn off the stream and I’m going to raid this person – let’s see if she cries,” she stated. As KayBae became aware of the raid, she was immediately left speechless “I’m freaking out, oh my gosh,” the streamer said as she finally got some words together and informed her in-game teammates of the new. Despite being clearly emotional – rolling her chair back and forwards, struggling to speak, and repeatedly covering her face – she didn’t quite have the teary reaction that she promised. “Oh my god, I’m losing it,” KayBae added, before repeatedly thanking LoserFruit for making her dream come true. Whether or not KayBae was able to capitalize on the influx of new viewers and turn them into fans of her own, but it remains to be seen. Either way, she’s got quite the way to go to catch up to her streaming hero’s one million follower count.

Twitch streamer Erobb can’t hold it in after the hot chip challenge – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Erobb can’t hold it in after the hot chip challenge Twitch: erobb221Twitch streamer Erobb221 partook in the One Chip Challenge on his Twitch live stream. Unfortunately, his stomach did not take in the spicy chip well, which resulted in an embarrassing on-stream incident. Erobb221 seems to be on quite the cold streak lately. Earlier this year, he was kicked from Team CoconutB during Twitch Rivals Rust Battle, which surprisingly ended up with the same team winning the competition. This and some other happenings have turned Erobb into the butt of many jokes made by certain Twitch communities. Unfortunately, Erobb’s July 12 stream will add to this reputation, as he had quite the on-stream incident after digesting a hot chip for a challenge. Erobb has an on-stream incident after eating a hot chip Erobb was an hour into his usual stream, consisting of talking to his chatroom and just scouring the web, looking at videos and memes. Then, he busted out an extremely spicy chip to try the One Chip Challenge that he promised to his fanbase. After around 20 minutes of discomfort, Erobb decided he needed to use the toilet, but unfortunately, he forgot to turn off his microphone, much to the disgust of his chatroom. While the clip itself has been deleted from Twitch for obvious reasons, a mirror has been saved. It should be noted that the clip might be uncomfortable for some due to the nature of the audio included. For those still curious, the mirror might be found right here. A Reddit thread on the topic contained a user comment that seemed to describe the clip perfectly: “That was the most beautifully disgusting and funny thing I experienced today,” the viewer wrote. What made the situation tragically funny is the fact that at the tail end of 2022, Erobb had a similar problem during his stream when his body betrayed him while digging a massive hole.

Twitch streamer does face reveal and turns out to be a “Gigachad” – Dexerto
Twitch streamer does face reveal and turns out to be a “Gigachad” Twitch: SauronWinsTwitch streamer ‘SauronWins’ has shown how he looks on camera for the first time, and in doing so he shocked viewers by revealing his amazing physique. It’s not that rare for content creators and influencers to hide their faces, sometimes a face cam just doesn’t suit their content or they want to remain anonymous because of possible harassment. Some even integrate anonymity into their online personas, like Corpse Husband or TheSkiMaskGirl, constantly teasing fans with partial face reveals. SauronWins went the opposite way as his face reveal, as it pretty much jumpstarted his potential rise to popularity. Clips of the streamer revealing his face and impressive physique to the perfectly picked music from the Ghost in the Shell movie made their way around the internet, garnering 224,500 views on Twitch and making it to the top-rated posts of the month on the LivestreamFail subreddit. SauronWins face reveals his way into Twitch stardom According to Twitch Tracker, SauronWins instantly spiked in followers following his face reveal, gaining 180 new potential viewers of his channel. While this number doesn’t sound big compared to titans of the platform, it previously took Sauron six months of streaming for upwards of 8 hours every other day to gain this much traction. Users around the internet praised this move on part of Sauron, from the idea itself to the musical choice for his reveal. “Note to self: If you ever get famous on YouTube/twitch only show yourself as soon as you get jacked like this dude,” commented one user. “Ghost in the Shell soundtrack really elevates the reveal,” added another user from the same thread. Others simply made jokes about the situation. “Weakest artifact player,” reads one comment referencing the fact that SauronWins streams a lot in the Artifact category. For now, it is unclear if the streamer burst into mainstream popularity, but he definitely already left a huge impression on a very wide audience.

Twitch streamer doxxes viewer after misunderstanding donation as a death threat – Dexerto
Twitch streamer doxxes viewer after misunderstanding donation as a death threat A GTA V Twitch streamer who focuses mainly on GTA RP has faced criticism for doxxing a donator live on stream, releasing their full name and email address. GTA RP has become a major hit on Twitch, with viewers watching in droves as their favorite streamers become new characters in Grand Theft Auto’s Los Santos city, taking on jobs and interacting with other players. With more eyes on the category, streamers have seen a huge rise in the amount of subscriptions and donations, but it appears that one specific donation may have rattled Spekel, who is a regular in the category. Spekel doxxes the donator While streaming on Wednesday, April 24, Spekel received a donation, and after reading it, released the full name and email address of the donator in her chat. In a clip that has been saved from the broadcast, Spekel can be heard saying: “Alright guys, here’s the guy who wants to send a death threat. There’s his full name and this is his email address. If you guys want to go – nah, fuck him.” The viewer then sent another donation that stated his original comment, which Spekel viewed as a death threat, was in relation to an action she performed in-game, with the stream responding again, stating: “You might want to be a little clearer about that, because you’re acting a little psycho man. Don’t doxx him? Nah, fuck him dude. If he’s going to try and make me feel intimidated with a little rant about a fucking video game, he deserves to be doxxed.” What happened between Spekel and the donator? With the VoDs and clips removed, it’s unclear what definitely happened between the streamer and the donator, but people who claim to have been watching the stream have taken to Reddit to share their version of the events that transpired. According to one commenter, the donation read: “Guess you should get shot when you step foot on someone else’s property,” which is allegedly a reference to an event that took place in the GTA V RP session she was in, where she shot another player for trespassing on an area she owned. Since the incident took place, Spekel has posted an apology on Twitter, stating that she is “deeply sorry about how I reacted to what I thought was a death threat.” “At the time, I didn’t expect it to go this way at all,” wrote the streamer. “I was shocked and angry. I have upset a lot of people regarding this incident and I apologize again for any harm.” I would like to say that i am deeply sorry about how i reacted to what i thought was a death threat. At the time I did this i didn’t expect it to go this way at all, i was shocked and angry. I have upset a lot of people regarding this incident and i apologize again for any harm. — Spekel (@Spekel_Anna) April 24, 2019 It’s possible that Spekel will be punished by Twitch, as doxxing another users information breaks the platform’s terms of service. What punishment might be handed down is currently unknown, but it would be unsurprising if her account was suspended as a result of her outburst.

Twitch streamer Doaenel indefinitely banned for “inappropriate” username – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Doaenel indefinitely banned for “inappropriate” username A Twitch streamer who goes by Doaenel was banned from the streaming platform indefinitely for having an “inappropriate username” despite using the same name since 2019. Doaenel is a Twitch streamer who predominantly plays the popular MOBA League of Legends. With the goal of becoming Rank #1, he streams over 10 hours nearly every day to an average of 1k-2k viewers. However, Twitch has brought his grind to a halt by giving Doaenel an indefinite suspension. Why? According to an email from Twitch, the ban was due to the streamer using an “inappropriate username.” Doaenel shared the news on Twitter and even explained the origin of the username he’s had since he was 16. Doaenel banned for “inappropriate username” On February 6, Doaenel posted a screenshot of the ban notification to Twitter. The email stated that Twitch had banned him based on a review of his content. As a result, Doaenel received a Community Guidelines strike. The notice also stated that Doaenel was indefinitely suspended, meaning he would have to file an appeal in order to have his account restored. Doaenel claims he was banned because his username is mistaken to mean “do anal.” This misconception is apparently something the streamer has discussed on stream a number of times. He states: “My name has absolutely NOTHING to do with anal, and I’ve had this name since I was 16.” He also shared the origin of the name. A social media post titled “Find your REAL Angel name” which has the reader produce a combination of letters from their first, middle, and last name. This isn’t the first time Doaenel has been the center of controversy. In 2020, the streamer was temporarily banned on Twitch for sexually harassing a female streamer. At the time, Doaenel averaged under 10 viewers per stream, a mere fraction of what he is used to today. Perhaps his massive growth since the end of 2021 has caught the attention of Twitch enough to scrutinize his peculiar username. Regardless, it does seem as if Doaenel is going to attempt to appeal this ban.

Twitch streamer DNP3 reveals how gambling streams left him “completely broke” – Dexerto
Twitch streamer DNP3 reveals how gambling streams left him “completely broke” Twitch streamer DNP3, known for his PC and console giveaways, revealed that he had lost everything to a severe gambling addiction formed over the course of the last year, and it started with a sponsored stream. Online gambling was a glaring point of contention within the Twitch community in 2022. Top streamers like xQc and Trainwrecks popularized dumping large amounts of money into online casinos like Stake with the goal of winning millions of dollars via virtual slots. Streamers would spend hours a day gambling thousands of dollars a click in pursuit of a “big win,” but this type of gambling is only sustainable if you’re a big enough content creator to keep those expandable funds rolling in. Even when Trainwrecks would win big, hitting a multi-million dollar jackpot, he always expressed that he was still in the red. Eventually, Twitch realized the risk of allowing this content on their platform and banned streams from showing online gambling in unregulated casinos. But while streamers were concerned with viewers becoming addicted to gambling, they hadn’t noticed one of their own was “losing everything.” DNP3 “loses everything” to gambling addiction On January 3, Twitch streaming DNP3 posted a Twitlonger with the caption, “I’m sorry.” that delved into how he had “lost everything” to a gambling addiction he formed in 2022. “Over the last year I got incredibly addicted to gambling. Every dollar I could find I would put into Stake in hopes of winning big. Even when the big wins did happen it wasn’t enough. Eventually I lost everything,” he wrote. DNP3 expressed how when his life saving had run out, he turned to using funds from project investors to “get his money back” from the casino. He explained how he is “completely broke” financially and spiritually and has lost trust in himself. DNP3 is working with a help group to start the road to recovery and mentioned how he wants to “break free” from the dark world of gambling. In reply to a concerned viewer, DNP3 noted that the addiction began with a sponsored stream that “unleashed an addiction I never knew I had.” DNP3 is the founder of CLU Coin, Gridcraft, and Goobers NFTs, projects he took investor money from to fund his gambling addiction. He stated that he would address the next steps for these projects in a separate tweet. He ended his twitlonger with an apology to his family, friends, and investors, admitting he betrayed their trust, let them down, and did not live up to his values of integrity.

Twitch streamer doaenel finally unbanned after name change drama – Dexerto
Twitch streamer doaenel finally unbanned after name change drama Twitter: Doaenel/TwitchTwitch streamer doaenel has been unbanned from the streaming after finally relenting and changing his username after it caused some confusion. Over the years, Twitch streamers have found themselves in hot water with the streaming website for some unusual reasons – some suffering a ban due to their content, while others have been punished for their emotes. In the case of Doaenel, the League of Legends streamer was banned back in early February for having an “inappropriate username,” even though he had been using the same tag on the website for some time. The streamer claimed that his name had come from a social media post about finding your real angel name, rather than the sexual act that some users had taken it to reference. After having his Twitch partnership application rejected for the 14th time, the League streamer further reached out to Twitch to see if anything could be done to rectify the situation. On February 17, the streamer revealed that he’d been granted a “courtesy suspension” and allowed to change his name. As such, he now goes by the username DoBleedPurple, keeping part of his old name and showing some love to Twitch. “After 11 days, I have finally been unbanned,” he tweeted, noting that he could return to the platform from February 18. “Twitch has killed Doaenel (in-game). In his place, DoBleedPurple has been born.” After 11 days, I have finally been unbanned. Twitch has killed Doaenel (ingame). In his place, DoBleedPurple has been born. Streams resume tomorrow 8-9 AM EST. Get ready for a new era of unmatched hype. pic.twitter.com/Ox6NnvT5xh — Dantes (@doaenel) February 17, 2022 While plenty of his fans are happy that he can now return, some have labeled the situation “a joke” given that the streamer hadn’t had any issues with his username until recently. Despite changing his name and being unbanned, the streamer can request a further name change after 60 days, so, it remains to be seen if DoBleedPurple will stick around long term or if he’ll have something else to switch to.

Twitch streamer disgusted after swallowing spider in her coffee – Dexerto
Twitch streamer disgusted after swallowing spider in her coffee SincerelyLyn/TwitchTwitch streamer SincerelyLyn accidentally swallowed a spider while taking a sip of her coffee live on stream, leaving her and the rest of her team disgusted. You never know what might happen when you’re live streaming. From streamers being swatted while streaming to people accidentally eating uncooked foods, viewers never know what’s going to happen, and neither do the streamers. The latest person who was caught by surprise is Twitch streamer SincerelyLyn, who was in the middle of playing Lethal Company with a group of other streamers when she suddenly got an unexpected surprise while taking a sip of coffee. On the stream, Lyn is seen taking the last sip of her coffee as she continues her conversation with the other players before casually removing something from her lip. She then notices something weird as she puts what was in her mouth on the rim of the mug and in confusion says: “What?” Realizations then hit that she’d drunk something weird that was in her coffee. Lyn examines the mug and asks herself “What was…” before spitting whatever was left in her mouth back into the mug. Her co-players have now realized that something is wrong and ask Lyn what’s wrong. She replied: “I think there was a spider… in my coffee” while trying not to gag. “Wait in your actual IRL coffee?” one person asks. Other people are also heard expressing their disgust. “Yes! I…” Lyn replies before leaning away from the camera, but she is heard gagging in the background. She then quickly runs off camera while saying: “Omg that was so f**king gross.” Viewers could not believe what they’d just seen and quickly shared a clip of the incident on Reddit, where dozens of people expressed their disgust. One person wrote: “Omg, what, ew.” Another person said: “Free protein and she spits it out.” “Welp.. Thanks for unlocking a new fear. I won’t ever trust coffee again…,” a third person wrote.

Twitch Streamer Djari328 Absolutely Destroys Creepy Viewer After He Asks to Be Unbanned – Dexerto
Twitch Streamer Djari328 Absolutely Destroys Creepy Viewer After He Asks to Be Unbanned A creepy fan questioned why he was banned from Djari328’s streams and it did not end well for him. Embarrassment would follow, causing him to block Djari328 on Twitter. The incident started when the Twitch variety streamer retweeted DrLupo, who overturned a ban after someone wrote a 1,000 word essay on why they were wrong. She extended the same offer to her banned fans, anyone who writes a 1,000 word apology might be able to come back. One fan in particular wanted the opportunity to write the essay, but claimed he had no idea what he did to deserve the ban in the first place. Unfortunately for him, Djari328 showed him exactly why he was no longer welcome and posted his offending comments for the world to see. The comments included disrespectful and creepy remarks towards the streamer. A few of his creepy lines also implied that he knew he could get banned, contradicting his initial claim of innocence. I’ll get banned for this, but if you’re showing us your wardrome [ sic ] – show us underwear. Surprisingly, the essay offer was still on the table as Djari328 replied: So, it looks like your 1000 word essay is on how to not be a creep towards women you don’t know on the internet. But, instead of getting to work on his essay on how to respect women, the fan blocked her on Twitter out of embarrassment. Djari328 managed to capture the moment before getting blocked. The full interaction is posted below. https://twitter.com/Djari328/status/1027883890109808640

Twitch streamer disappears from internet after caught pleasuring himself during broadcast – Dexerto
Twitch streamer disappears from internet after caught pleasuring himself during broadcast Small-time Twitch streamer and “tabletop game entertainer” MMDStudios deleted every trace of himself from the internet after he appeared to start masturbating without shutting his broadcast down. Chalk this one up to a case of not looking before you leap. In the disturbing, obviously not safe for work video, the shirtless entertainer appears to pleasure himself for a little over twenty seconds before realizing his stream is still on because of a follower notification. At the 25-second mark, MMD has what you could undoubtedly classify as an “ah shit” moment. He coughs, checks the stream and can’t believe he was actually just caught masturbating in front of everyone tuning in. The embarrassed pleasure-seeker looks on glass-eyed in disbelief before finally shutting it down for real. As soon as he finished, the broadcast that is, MMD deleted his Twitch account, YouTube and Twitter, but not quick enough as a mirror link of the very inappropriate cast was uploading to r/LiveStreamFails. The clip has since been deleted from Streamable for violating their terms of service. User Qazwet said MMD deleted his channel after he said something in chat, seemingly bringing the fact the cast was still going to his attention. It’s likely that MMD’s channel would have been penalized by Twitch had he not deleted his account. The company has been growing ever stricter with what can and can’t be shown on air. 600Sometimes it takes Twitch moderators some time to take action on smaller streamers without reports being filed by community members, but in this case, the story spread like wildfire. For example, in the month of June alone, there were two separate cases of streamers having sex without disabling their stream, one in South Korea. 600Community moderation remains a hot topic on Twitch, especially as the platform has begun to experience growing pains, increased competition from Mixer, and somewhat slowed growth. This should serve as a lesson to any potential broadcaster on Twitch, Mixer or YouTube: always be sure you get off before you jack off.

Twitch streamer disguises channel link as OnlyFans and doubles her viewers – Dexerto
Twitch streamer disguises channel link as OnlyFans and doubles her viewers Twitch: LyssA Twitch streamer has been disguising their channel links as an OnlyFans promo and, well, it’s already paid off in a pretty decent way for them. Over the last few years, becoming a Twitch streamer and content creator has become a realistic career option for plenty of people. Though, not everyone reaches the top like xQc, Ninja, Pokimane, or Kai Cenat. The reality for many other streamers is that you’ve got to scratch and claw to make any sort of progress. Some also get lucky too, getting a shout-out from a much bigger streamer or having one of their mishaps go viral on social media. However, streamer lyss has found another way to bring new eyeballs to their channel, and it’s pretty clever but also totally sneaky. Twitch streamer disguises channel link as OnlyFans for instant results The small streamer, who typically focuses on Call of Duty or Just Chatting streams, has been disguising promo links for her channel as links to OnlyFans. Lyss revealed on Twitter that she’s been posting Instagram stories with a button that says OnlyFans, but actually takes viewers to Twitch and her streams. That has resulted in her achieving her biggest peak viewership to date – around 1050 viewers, which is almost double her previous total – as well as bringing in over 2100 new unique viewers. And, she’s also gained over 1100 new followers in the last few days – which is an impressive number for a streamer of her size. Other small streamers claimed she’d “cracked the code” and that they would also be following suit. “This is genius,” said one. “This is beyond brilliant,” added another. Some suggested that she might get in trouble for misleading people, but that would only be through Instagram – and given it doesn’t go to a spam or scam link, it actually goes to a working Twitch channel – Lyss will likely be fine.

Twitch streamer Diegosaurs swatted for “beating” players in Valorant – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Diegosaurs swatted for “beating” players in Valorant Twitch: DiegosaursTwitch streamer Diegosaurs is the latest broadcaster to be targeted by another illegal and dangerous ‘swatting’ – prompting officers to attend his residence on stream, suggesting it was a result of him beating players in Valorant. Swatting is the act of making a false report to police, often of an extreme nature in order to elicit a swift armed response to what is usually described as a serious and violent crime taking place. Streamers are often the targets of these swatting attempts, as the prankster can then watch as the situation unfolds – sometimes even to deadly ends. For some of the most famous streamers, the threat of swatting is so common that they have to arrange special communication with local police forces, warning them of potential false flags. Diegosaurs swatted during Valorant stream On March 31, Diegosaurs was streaming Valorant – not his usual game, as he’s more often playing Apex Legends. After playing a few games, and actually losing most of them, two police officers suddenly entered Diego’s room, and immediately realized they had wasted their time, upon seeing his setup, rather than an active crime scene. “Somebody you beat apparently called the cops,” the officer explained. “Yeah, quit beating people!” another officer added. This was a surprise to Diego, considering he’d actually been losing. One of the officers then joked “Can you just be terrible [at the game] so we don’t get sent out here?” After apologizing, the officers tell Diegosaurs not to be sorry, and ask him about his streaming platform. Upon confirming it was Twitch, they even recommend looking out for one of their colleagues who streams on the platform. Clearly, these policemen were very aware of the swatting routine, as well as being familiar with Twitch, which likely prevented this situation from escalating further, but not all streamers are so lucky. Some have had weapons drawn on them and even been handcuffed. xQc, Twitch’s most-watched streamer, reports that he has been swatted frequently, but refrains from publicizing it to prevent copycats.

Twitch streamer detained by Japanese police after trespassing in Fukushima – Dexerto
Twitch streamer detained by Japanese police after trespassing in Fukushima Unsplash: Sigmund / Instagram: joeykaotykAmerican Twitch streamer ‘JoeyKaotyk’ has now been released after he was allegedly detained for 35 days by Japanese police for trespassing in Fukushima. March 11, 2011, marks the day Japan experienced one of the worst nuclear catastrophes in human history. An undersea earthquake caused a series of tsunamis that rocked the country, resulting in the meltdown of three nuclear reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant. To this day, much of Fukushima is still considered radioactive and is off-limits to the public, with an ‘exclusion zone’ surrounding the power plant where radiation remains too severe for humans. Undeterred, Twitch streamer and breakdancer ‘JoeyKaotyk’ explored the ruins with fellow ‘adventurer’ Michael Gakuran, resulting in the pair being arrested for trespassing. Now JoeyKaotyk is back on Twitter, claiming he was detained for 35 days. “I was detained for 35 days for questioning,” JoeyKaotyk posted, apologizing to those who had worried during his absence. The streamer also promised fans insight into what occurred, stating “I’ve got a lot to say and stories to tell. Explaining everything on my next stream.” But fans eager to catch up on JoeyKaotyk’s adventure in a Japanese jail will have to wait after it was revealed that Twitch had placed a temporary ban on the streamer’s account. While waiting for the ban to pass, fans rushed to JoeyKaotyk’s Twitter to celebrate his return. “So glad to hear you’re safe man,” one posted. Another said, “30+ days of [people] commenting ‘where’s Joey’ on other channels is now over… hope you’re okay.” With JoeyKaotyk expected to stream again on July 28, we’ll keep you updated on what stories he has to share. Twitch streamer devastated after stealthy thief pickpockets her phone – Dexerto
Twitch streamer devastated after stealthy thief pickpockets her phone Twitch: ira_abaA traveling Twitch streamer was left devastated after her viewers alerted her that a pickpocket had stolen her phone — a theft that was caught live during her broadcast. IRL (short for ‘In Real Life’) streams on Twitch are a hive for wild content of all kinds. From animal-related debacles to accidents and more, these live broadcasts never fail to deliver shocking moments. However, many IRL streams have also caught crimes happening in real-time. For instance, one streamer caught a man trying to break into her car while she was broadcasting inside it, while another streamer captured a purse-snatching thief dragging a woman along the ground in another jaw-dropping clip. Now, yet another theft has been caught during a streamer’s live broadcast — one that her viewers tried to alert her to before it was too late. Twitch streamer catches pickpocket stealing her phone Ukrainian Twitch streamer ‘ira_aba’ was walking the streets of Madrid at night when her viewers noticed a shady-looking guy walking up behind her. The man, who was wearing a hat and a dark jacket, sneakily ducked behind the streamer and appeared to take something out of her backpack before booking it in the opposite direction. Viewers attempted to make her aware of the situation, letting her know that she may have been the victim of a pickpocket. The streamer checked her bag and discovered that her phone had been stolen. Unfortunately, she claimed that her phone did not have a lock set on it, making the situation even more dire. “That’s my fault,” she said. “He stole my phone, just like that.” Luckily, it looks like she was able to get a new phone and managed to change her passwords. The streamer said she went to police for help and was able to share her stream VOD with them to help catch the crook, but hasn’t seemingly retrieved her old phone. Despite the theft, she claims that the experience didn’t sour her trip in Madrid at all and still enjoyed her time in the city.

Twitch streamer Destiny slammed for deliberately spoiling Game of Thrones – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Destiny slammed for deliberately spoiling Game of Thrones Instagram: Destiny/HBOPopular Twitch streamer Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnell is under fire after messaging users with spoilers for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones Season 8 is being touted as one of the biggest TV series ever, with millions of viewers tuning in worldwide to get the latest from the show each week. Similarly to Avengers: Endgame, Twitch streamers have generally been strict on viewers posting spoilers in chat, trying to prevent them from spoiling the show for other viewers who are not up to date yet. However, popular streamer Destiny has taken an opposite approach – deliberately messaging people spoilers for the show. On May 10, Destiny became irritated by his Twitch chat, discussing aspects of Game of Thrones and criticising his League of Legends gameplay. In response, Destiny decided to message a number of his followers with spoilers for Game of Thrones, which is released at staggered points across the world i.e. some European broadcasts of new episodes take place after they are first shown in the US. The messages, one of which was screenshot by the reddit user who received it, came from u/NeoDestinyBot. The message contains a list of five Game of Thrones spoilers, including character deaths and other spoilers. It then signs off: “Thank you for being supporting Destiny! I hope this brightens up your day.” Destiny has over 400,000 followers on Twitch, but now appears to be at odds with some of his viewers, receiving considerable, and understandable, criticism for his behaviour. There are also accusations on Reddit of Destiny’s followers engaging in the distribution of spoilers, and some of them simultaneously being the victim of these spoilers.

Twitch streamer details shotgun attack after “evil” ex tracks her new boyfriend – Dexerto
Twitch streamer details shotgun attack after “evil” ex tracks her new boyfriend X: hollepeno / X: HunterAA6A Twitch streamer has shared details of the shotgun attack that took place after an allegedly abusive ex tracked her new boyfriend, supposedly with murderous intent. Twitch streamer Holle Knoll was at the West Virginia apartment of her boyfriend, YouTuber Hunter Avallone, when she discovered something terrifying. Having just escaped from an alleged 11-year abusive relationship with her ex, Conrad Carriker, Knoll traveled across the country to stay with Avallone — only to find out that her journey had been tracked. Apple AirTags had been concealed in her luggage. When she confronted Carriker, he openly admitted to planting them in hopes of discovering Avallone’s address. “Tell him I’ll see him soon,” Carriker texted Knoll. Five days later, Avallone was informed by his landlord that there was a man with a suitcase outside claiming to be his friend. Suspecting that it may be Carriker, Knoll and Avallone checked through the building’s glass front door. Sure enough, Carriker advanced on them with a shotgun in hand. “The minute he saw us it was like something switched, like he had no expression on his face. Like he switched to just being evil,” Avallone told the New York Post, with Knoll comparing her ex to Jekyll and Hyde. As Carriker aimed at Avallone, Knoll threw herself between the pair in hopes her ex wouldn’t hurt her. She ultimately was shot in the leg and sprayed with shrapnel as Carriker attempted to shoot through the door. The couple fled upstairs and phoned the police, with a “panicked” Avallone using his hoodie to help stop the bleeding while filming for evidence. In the video, police can be heard telling Carriker to “Show me your hands” before a series of gunshots. Knoll begged her ex to surrender himself, revealing she was losing a lot of blood. Shortly after, Carriker took his own life. Knoll was treated at the hospital for the gunshot wound, writing on X (formerly Twitter) about the ordeal, “I am starting to come out of shock. I feel so torn up inside. I loved him for 11 years despite the abuse, and he couldn’t love me enough to let me leave. I am sad, and angry, and sorry, and heartbroken… I am struggling [right now]. It hurts. I can’t believe he did that.” Avallone praised his girlfriend’s bravery during the attack, telling the New York Post, “I want to make sure it’s really clear how brave Holle was. She literally saved my life, she also knew that this guy had intended to kill me. And she took a really daring bet. Betting that he wouldn’t kill her.” We wish Knoll a speedy recovery and hope she and Avallone have plenty of support during this difficult time.

Escape from Tarkov streamer denies using cheats despite knowing how to use them – Dexerto
Escape from Tarkov streamer denies using cheats despite knowing how to use them A Twitch streamer has publically stated that he does not use cheats while playing Escape from Tarkov, but viewers remain convinced he does after he revealed some precise knowledge about the cheats in question. The streamer, who goes by the name Kablamo, was first accused of cheating on Wednesday, June 5, when a six-minute video of his Escape from Tarkov gameplay was posted on the /r/LivestreamFail subreddit. In the clips, collected by /u/haha-lol-xd, the streamer’s crosshairs can be seen speeding across the screen in less than one frame, as it locks on to the position of an enemy player who is behind a wall. Throughout the video, Kablamo snaps onto enemy players, hitting headshot after headshot with his rifle as he takes down opponents. The streamer speaks the whole way through his killing spree, insinuating that he can hear players before he destroys them – including one instance where he claims to have heard footsteps from an enemy who appears to be away from their keyboard when he eventually finds them. Many who saw the clip on Reddit called Kablamo out, prompting him to respond on his stream by claiming he wasn’t cheating, before revealing some oddly specific information about the cheats people use in Escape from Tarkov. “Of course I’m not cheating,” the streamer told his viewers. “Tarkov has an anti-cheat, don’t get me wrong, it’s a good anti-cheat. People use Chod’s heats and AimJunkies, they get banned real fucking fast. I’m pretty sure the new cheat that people are using is MaverickCheats, and it’s $5 for a month.” Kablamo’s knowledge of Escape from Tarkov cheats immediately raised even more suspicion, with some going as far as to find his Steam account, which has a number of VAC bans – although he has now made his profile private. Of course, just because he has knowledge of cheats doesn’t specifically mean he was cheating, as some have pointed out that cheats are a hot topic among Escape from Tarkov fans, so it’s possible he was aware of the cheats without using them.

Destiny confirms Twitch ban is permanent after breaking hateful conduct rules – Dexerto
Destiny confirms Twitch ban is permanent after breaking hateful conduct rules Twitch: DestinyVeteran Twitch streamer Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnel has been banned from the platform — for good — revealing that he was suspended permanently due to an apparent violation of Twitch’s community guidelines on hateful conduct. Destiny has faced multiple bans from the platform in the past, and lost his partnership in 2020 for what Twitch said was “encouraging violence.” His content is often politically focused, hosting debates and conversations with people from across the political spectrum, which can at times lead to tensions coming to the fore. On March 23, his account was made unavailable and he was suspended once again. As he is not partnered on Twitch though, he was able to continue broadcasting on another platform, moving to YouTube. It looks like his platform of 650,000 followers will be shifting to the Google-owned site permanently, with the star confirming his suspension is permanent. Why was Destiny banned from Twitch? On his YouTube stream, Destiny confirmed the cause of the ban came under Twitch’s rules for hateful conduct, but that he wasn’t told specifically what he did or said to prompt the punishment. This is standard for Twitch bans, where streamers will be told what rule they broke, but not how exactly they broke it. “Twitch never tells me why I get banned,” Destiny explained. “They said that a violation occurred on stream, and then the three possible [reasons] they gave were: posting a combination of words and emotes in chat to promote denigration based on race, praising or supporting a hate crime. “And then the third one, this would blow my mind if it’s the third one, ‘advocating for the exclusion of a group of people based on their disability.’ There’s no way right?” The related segment starts at 5:47:10. When a viewer suggested it could have been a ‘hate raid’, Destiny responded, “I don’t believe my community does hate raids. I don’t believe that.” The streamer later theorized that it might be “because of my claims that transwomen shouldn’t compete with ciswomen in women’s athletics.” Twitch’s guidelines prohibit “calls for subjugation, segregation or exclusion…based on a protected characteristic.” The only way Destiny can get his Twitch account back is if he successful in an appeal — however his first one failed. If he tries again and misses the mark, his 11-year career on the platform is done for good.

Twitch streamer dared into using naughty emote prefix, immediately regrets it – Dexerto
Twitch streamer dared into using naughty emote prefix, immediately regrets it Twitch: Stormfall33Twitch streamer Stormfall33 went viral after switching her emote prefix to a dirty word she thought the streaming platform wouldn’t allow. While Twitch can be known to be quite strict when it comes to using curse words and generally naughty language on the streaming platform, occasionally, things can slip through the cracks. Stormfall33, a streamer on Twitch, went massively viral after potentially encountering one of these cracks in the system after inputting a naughty word while searching for a new emote prefix. Live on August 4, the 24-year-old broadcaster was in search of a short but elegant emote prefix that won’t be too difficult to type out quickly to access emotes. Twitch streamer regrets new emote prefix She said, “I don’t want to use a number, I don’t want to have to type out storm33 and then, S or something, it’s just dumb.” A viewer then suggested she use a short word that she believed wouldn’t get approved by Twitch. After Stormfall said there’s “no way” Twitch would allow the word, after typing it in and hitting update, it actually worked. The streamer was shocked, and shouted: “I didn’t think it would actually let me! I thought it would be like ‘This isn’t allowed!’ What the f*ck!” The clip of her meltdown went viral instantly after her broadcast aired, notching over 300,000 viewers in just one day. After not facing any repercussions for using the naughty word, the genuine shock Twitch would allow the word was priceless.

Twitch streamer DarksydePhil criticized for “begging” for donations after losing partnership – Dexerto
Twitch streamer DarksydePhil criticized for “begging” for donations after losing partnership Twitch: DarksydephilLongtime Twitch streamer DarksydePhil has lost his partnership on the platform, and as a result threatened to leave it permanently, unless his community can support him with enough donations. Even dedicated fans of the streamer have criticized his actions since losing his partnerships, with one viewer who had donated over 25,000 ‘Bits’ banned for not wanting to use PayPal to make a donation. On May 3, YouTuber David Davidson uploaded a compilation of clips from DarksydePhil’s channel, explaining that he had lost his partnership but did not want to move to another platform and lose his following. However, as a result of losing partner status, there is no subscribe option, meaning he now relies on donations to monetize his Twitch content. When some viewers expressed concern about the information shared by PayPal, he hit back by telling them to “seek help” for their “paranoia.” He has raised his donation goal to $200 per stream, and with 20 minutes remaining of a broadcast, called for his viewers to meet the target, as it sat at only $80. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last chance. I have to appeal to you one more time. Less than 20 minutes left on the stream, we didn’t even hit the vest goal tonight, this is not good. This is why I’m telling you guys, I’m not joking about, if I can’t even get close to hitting the tips goals, I can’t stay on Twitch anymore. More than enough people ‘cheer’ and ‘sub’ when those things were available. I need people to buy in and say ‘ok, I used to cheer, I used to sub, I’m not going to do that anymore, I’m going to come tip instead. Or pledge to my Patreon.” “I need the support now more than ever because of what Twitch has done to me unfairly,” Phil continued. “This is not good, this [stream] I’m not even half way there. That’s really bad. So please, if you can, please support.” At the end of the same stream, he said “you have to understand, this is my livelihood. […] I can’t have entire days where I’m not hitting a tips goal.” Commenters criticized his requests for donations, with one writing: “We’ve reached the point where tips are mandatory, no joke or meme.” Another said “The gaslighting is so disgusting. The way he berates people and calls them mentally ill for not having a bank account to link to a PayPal. It’s really gross.” On Twitter, DarksydePhil said that Twitch has not responded to his requests about his partnership or payments. He says he will require donations to be able to pay his mortgage payment, due on the 15th. “The purpose of this stream is to raise funds, to help me get through this tough time.” Here is the audio-only schedule for Monday May 10 and the coming week! Enjoy! pic.twitter.com/tFnUPO3oQC — Things Are HEATING UP! (@TheyCallMeDSP) May 10, 2021 DarksydePhil typically streams twice a day, taking his total donation goal per day to $400, or $124,000 a year, although he does typically take one day off a week. Although the reason for his partnership being revoked is unknown (even to Phil himself, he claims), he has been banned on multiple occasions before. However, in March, it was alleged that he had “doxxed” a fan by sharing an image of their driver’s license on Discord. The fan in question had apparently been banned from chat, and hoped that verifying their identity would help them be unbanned. His most recent, in October 2020, he says was due to a “false DMCA claim.” The streamer also came under heavy criticism in 2019 after saying that racist jokes were “OK” if they did not target an individual, and that people simply didn’t have “thick skin.”

Twitch streamer Crayator hit with surprise ban – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Crayator hit with surprise ban Twitch: CrayatorTwitch and Fortnite streamer Crayator has been banned from the streaming platform, leading fans to speculate what led to this decision. Nathan ‘Crayator’ Ryan is an Australian Twitch streamer, known mostly for streaming Fortnite on his channel. While Epic Games’ battle royale has afforded Crayator success in his career, the streamer was originally part YouTuber group Click until July 2, 2020. Since ceasing content creation operations, Crayator has continued to forge ahead with Twitch streaming but has now found themselves banned from the streaming giant, with fans unsure of what actions caused the decision. Fortnite streamer Crayator unexpectedly banned from Twitch On August 22 Crayator made his Twitter followers aware of the surprising turn of events. Rather than simply relay his ban in a straightforward tweet, Crayator put together a parodic video based on the Japanese manga Death Note. Captioned “my time has come”, the Fortnite streamer’s video shows a masked video donning a Twitch logo for a face, writing Crayator’s name into his version of the manga’s mysterious notepad. Crayator was clearly unphased by Twitch’s decision, as they soon responded to their ban announcement video with a suggestion for fans to join his Discord server: “Omg want the reason we are banned?…Join Discord for drama.” According to Twitch ban tracking account, StreamerBans, this marks the streamer’s first ban on the platform. A reason for his ban has yet to be discerned and fans are none the wiser too. Fans of the streamer such as @SpencerW24 said: “Was anyone on stream who saw this happen?? WHAT HAPPENED????!???” Some fans have alleged that Crayator showed footage of the Vietnam War, though these claims have yet to be confirmed. Twitter user @Mangoeeh said: “it was a Vietnam War clip I’m pretty sure, it’s his first time so I’m sure it’ll just be a 2-day vacation.” As Twitch doesn’t comment publicly on ban reasons, it remains to be seen as to whether or not the streamer will reveal the actual reason for the suspension.

Twitch streamer Dantes denied partner status despite pulling 20k viewers – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Dantes denied partner status despite pulling 20k viewers doaenel | TwitterTwitch streamer Dantes (also known as Doaenel) hit over 20k viewers during his Race to Challenger stream, asking if they might partner him on his “21st application”. Dantes is one of the most rapidly growing streamers not only within League of Legends, but on Twitch. His Race to Challenger event saw him streaming for over 50 hours over the course of 3 days, with his stream viewership capping out at around 23k. Even in his normal streams, Dantes averages 4-5k viewers. He’s one of the biggest streamers in League of Legends, and yet, he can’t get approved for partner. While there are a number of reasons why he may be getting denied, people are starting to question why Twitch won’t give him the coveted partner status. Dantes denied Twitch partnership despite hitting 20k viewers While he has a pretty large fanbase, Dantes is no stranger to controversy. He was banned from Twitch for having Doaenel as his previous username, with Twitch flagging it as “inappropriate“. He’s also had a history of bans and restrictions on his accounts in League of Legends for conduct in and out of game, and has regularly swapped accounts. That hasn’t stopped him from repeatedly getting near the top of the League of Legends ranked ladder, though. With the streamer coming back from his previous Twitch ban with a vengeance and getting near the top of one of Twitch’s biggest games, people are starting to question why he still can’t get partner status. He’s been applying for Twitch partner for years. Speculation has run rampant about the reasons for which he can’t get his hands on a partnership with the streaming platform, with two leading theories. The first is that, because his original account got banned, Twitch aren’t too keen on partnering him on his replacement account. The second is that Twitch isn’t partnering him based on the content of his stream and his in-game bans. While Dantes doesn’t do anything on stream that goes against Twitch’s terms of service, he’s had his fair share of controversial moments, many of which have helped make him the popular streamer he is today. Dantes has yet to get partnered at the time of writing, but he did manage to hit the peak of the League of Legends ranked ladder and took the number one spot after days worth of gameplay and streaming. Even if he had the top spot taken from him mere minutes before his Race to Challenger ended.

Twitch streamer CouRage continues to plug his Fortnite Creator code in hilarious ways – Dexerto
Twitch streamer CouRage continues to plug his Fortnite Creator code in hilarious ways Epic Games created a way to share the earnings made from purchases in Fortnite and the Epic Store, but some creators have been taking every chance they get to give a plug on their own behalf. The Support-A-Creator program launched in October 2018 that gave creators a small piece of the profit-pie if a purchase was made with the Creator’s Epic tag via the “Support a Creator” button, and one popular streamer made a habit of marketing his at every turn. Fortnite streamer Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is the best around when it comes to spontaneous but effective micro-marketing and somehow manages to find plugs funnier than the last. My pal, @TimTheTatMan, watches links from the top donation of the day… I spent $70 to send this. 100% worth it. He should have seen it coming. Always plug. pic.twitter.com/x5JYbsLVZq — Jack “”CouRage”” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 12, 2018 This time it happened when 100 Thieves Founder and CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag took to Twitter to vent a bit of frustration on Fortnite and its fans. “It’s almost a guarantee that when I refresh my Twitter feed, I’ll either see someone complaining about the changes made to Fortnite or someone tweeting their in-game ‘creator code’ for others to use. It’s honestly quite remarkable. I need [Las Vegas] odds on every [Twitter feed] refresh from now on,” Nadeshot said. CouRage took this time to agree with his long-time friend, but with an added fine print, saying that his Tweet “was sponsored by code CouRageJD in the Fortnite item shop.” lmao right? It’s insane *this tweet was sponsored by code CouRageJD in the Fortnite item shop* — Jack “”CouRage”” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 14, 2018 That wasn’t it, though, as CouRage took one more opportunity to plug his content, this time adding in a link to his Twitch channel for good measure. that’s cause we’re best friends *this tweet was sponsored by https://t.co/2jQ2OMVIXR* — Jack “”CouRage”” Dunlop (@CouRageJD) December 14, 2018 In a moment’s quip, CouRage was able to both drop his advert and have a lighthearted exchange with his long-time friend. In announcing the Support-A-Creator Program, Epic Games asked their Creators to stay authentic when marketing their code, something that CouRage has amusingly obliged thus far.

Twitch streamer crashes motorcycle in high-speed broadcast gone wrong – Dexerto
Twitch streamer crashes motorcycle in high-speed broadcast gone wrong Twitch: niateppaA Twitch streamer was speeding down a two-way road when they crashed their motorcycle in a hair-raising live broadcast. Twitch streams are known for capturing some of the most chaotic content the internet has on offer. Everything from robberies to shootouts and even house fires have been caught during streamers’ live broadcasts, making the rounds online in viral posts and discussions. A fair few vehicle crashes have also been streamed live on Twitch — the latest of which is dropping jaws all over the internet as viewers can’t believe one driver’s behavior on the road. Twitch streamer’s joyride ends in sudden motorcycle crash Russian-speaking Twitch streamer Yulia is a certified globetrotter, often uploading photos to her social media accounts from places like Thailand, Indonesia, and even Malaysia. She was broadcasting her travels on January 10 when she seemingly decided to go on a joyride down a two-lane road somewhere in a tropical climate. In a clip taken from her live stream, Yulia can be seen speeding down the road while singing at the top of her lungs as other vehicles drive past her, including a few other motorbikes. However, Yulia’s ride quickly came to an end as her bike wobbled and became upset, ultimately crashing and skidding across the street. Warning: While there is no graphic violence depicted, the video below shows footage of a crash that may make some viewers uncomfortable. The broadcast cut off at the moment of impact, leaving viewers worried about her condition. The VOD for this particular stream is also unavailable. The situation left commenters on Reddit dumbfounded, with quite a few berating the broadcaster for streaming while driving — on top of driving recklessly. This is far from the first time a streamer has suffered a driving accident during a live broadcast. In May 2023, viewers were shocked when a streamer driving a motorcycle crashed into a car, injuring his right leg.

Twitch streamer ClawOnTwitch banned after Destiny accuses him of domestic violence – Dexerto
Twitch streamer ClawOnTwitch banned after Destiny accuses him of domestic violence Twitch streamer ClawOnTwitch has been banned from the platform, and his Twitter account has been deleted, following allegations from YouTube streamer Steven ‘Destiny’ Borell that he abused his partner. Destiny had been discussing streamers based in Austin, Texas, and two people, in particular, he believed to be “schizophrenic” and “weird.” He confirmed that one of the content creators he was referring was ClawOnTwitch. Destiny claimed that ClawOnTwitch had threatened to “leak” things about him, and that he wasn’t concerned as he had nothing to hide. “If he’s going to keep vague posting [about] me, I’m going to keep posting recordings I have of him beating the sh*t out of his girlfriend.” ClawOnTwitch banned following Destiny controversy On his YouTube stream, Destiny then played a recording of what he alleges is ClawOnTwitch abusing an ex-partner. In the recording, a woman can be heard pleading “get off me”, and screaming. Following the accusations made on social media, ClawOnTwitch spoke with Twitch streamer Chaeiry on her channel, joined by Sevinth – the partner who is apparently heard in the clip. Chaeiry challenged Claw regarding “violence heard in that clip.” To which Claw responds, “you heard violence? You can hear violence? Are words assault to you?” When asked if he knows what “violence sounds like,” Claw says “I have never been in a violent relationship, so no.” Claw also claimed that he and his partner engaged in “consensual violence.” “Consensual violence is not violence. Consensual violence is a whole different topic,” Claw claimed. You can watch the conversation with Claw and Sevinth below – note, the video includes discussion and description of domestic abuse. Following this stream, Claw’s Twitch account was banned for “a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” Claw’s Twitter account is also no longer available.

Twitch Streamer claims she was banned for saying there’s only 2 genders – Dexerto
Twitch Streamer claims she was banned for saying there’s only 2 genders HelenaLive / TwitterOnce popular Twitch streamer, ‘HelenaLive’, has been permanently banned from the platform, and had her partnership terminated, following comments which Twitch deemed “offensive toward the transgender community”. In a YouTube broadcast on February 5, Helena claims that the only comments she made were arguing that in her belief, “there are only two genders.” In the video, Helena also shows her phone with the emails from Twitch notifying her of her partnership termination, which was the result of three previous warnings in as many months. Helena says that she responded to Twitch, denying that she had said anything offensive to the transgender community, instead claiming she supported them. “I was saying on stream, that I think, biologically, there’s two genders. I think there’s the woman and the man. That’s what biology tells us. I specifically said, it’s ok if a man wants to be a woman, and a woman wants to be a man, you cannot be anything in between. I said I supported the transgender community.” Contrary to Twitch’s claim that Helena was banned ‘several’ times in the past, Helena says that she has in fact only been banned once. Because the HelenaLive channel has now been terminated, no past broadcasts can be accessed, which Helena claims would vindicate her in saying that she did not offend the transgender community. However, some are doubtful that this is the true reason for her ban, and it may instead be a culmination of factors, including the previous warnings which Twitch claims to have given her. In their original email, they say it is the third time she had been reported for hateful conduct in the past two months. Twitch does not comment on terms of service violations, to respect privacy of users.

Twitch streamer claims he was “unfairly” banned for making fun of himself – Dexerto
Twitch streamer claims he was “unfairly” banned for making fun of himself Twitter/feinberg_mcTwitch streamer and Minecraft speedrunner ‘Feinberg’ is claiming that he was banned on the platform for making an alternate account that poked fun at himself. There have been quite a few Twitch bans over the years that many in the community have viewed as bizarre, but a recent suspension for an act of self-deprecation may be the strangest yet. On June 24, the streamer posted to Twitter that Twitch had taken action against him after he made an account called “feinbergsucks” – poking fun at his existing account name. It’s unclear if Twitch knew that it was Feinberg himself who made the account, but that didn’t stop the Amazon-owned platform from suspending it. Hi @TwitchSupport my alternate twitch account “”feinbergsucks”” was perma suspended yesterday for an inappropriate name. Am I not allowed to poke fun at myself? I can’t stream or use twitch on my main in fear of TOS and I don’t believe the suspension is warranted please help me out — Feinberg (@feinberg_mc) June 23, 2021 “Hi Twitch Support, my alternate Twitch account ‘feinbergsucks’ was perma suspended yesterday for an inappropriate name,” he wrote on June 23. “Am I not allowed to poke fun at myself? I can’t stream or use Twitch on my main in fear of TOS and I don’t believe the suspension is warranted, please help me out.” The streamer made an interesting point. It’s against Twitch’s rules to stream on another account while an alternate is suspended, and because it was indefinite, it’s essentially a perma ban on his primary account, as well. One day later he tried again, once more tagging Twitch, hoping for some clarity. Hi @TwitchSupport day 2 of me being unfairly suspended on my alternate account “”feinbergsucks”” for making fun of myself!! I’ll delete the account or change the name I don’t care – I stream fulltime and will break ToS if I use my main account. Please help support case #05091932 — Feinberg (@feinberg_mc) June 24, 2021 “Hi Twitch Support, day 2 of me being unfairly suspended on my alternate account ‘feinbergsucks’ for making fun of myself!!” he cried. “I’ll delete the account or change the name I don’t care – I stream fulltime and will break ToS if I use my main account.” Unfortunately, Twitch never responded, essentially leaving the streamer stranded and waiting for an email reply, which can take quite a long time. Twitch doesn’t comment on individual suspensions and it’s unclear if there was something else besides the name of the alternate account that could have contributed to the ban, but the situation has become one of the wildest in recent memory. Hopefully, Twitch can resolve this matter quickly so Feinberg can return to streaming, but for the time being, he’s pretty much banned by proxy.

Twitch streamer claims Kick forcefully changed her name to give to bigger streamer – Dexerto
Twitch streamer claims Kick forcefully changed her name to give to bigger streamer Kick/Unsplash: ElladonA Twitch streamer named Sunlihyt claims that Kick made her change her name on the platform because it was “reserved” for someone else despite it being actively used. Since its launch in late 2022 by Twitch streamer Trainwreck, the broadcasting platform Kick has skyrocketed in popularity. It hasn’t been without its issues, however, as it had a problem with sexual content on various streams when it first launched. Twitch streamer Sunlihyt has taken to Twitter with claims that Kick made her change her name because it was “reserved” for another user — despite her claiming the name just minutes after the platform launched. Twitch streamer claims Kick forced her to change her name On March 21, the Twitch streamer posted on her Twitter that Kick took her username away to “give it to a Twitch partner.” “Kick took my active username to give it to a twitch partner mmm yea idk about this switch lol,” she said. The streamer, whose real name is Alyssa, also shared a screenshot of the email she received from Kick. “Thank you for reaching out to us. The username “Lyss” was reserved for another user, and it was returned to them upon their request,” it reads. “As an apology for the inconvenience, we could help you change your username to a variation of the one you had if you wish to do so.” Alyssa clapped back in the tweet, mentioning that she was using it for two months before Kick made her change her name. Fellow users of Kick have replied to her tweets, however, claiming that they’ve seen it happen to other creators in the past. At the time of writing, Kick has yet to respond to her tweets and Alyssa hasn’t shared any more communication with the platform. We’ll have to wait to see if Alyssa gets her username back, but in the meantime, you can head over to our entertainment section for more news.

Twitch streamer Cipher under fire for harassing another player in Twitch Rivals – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Cipher under fire for harassing another player in Twitch Rivals Twitter: Vicksylol and Geekay EsportsDuring a Twitch Rivals event, professional League of Legends player and streamer Walid ‘Cipher’ Osman was called out for sexually harassing another player. Vicksy, the woman targeted, called out Cipher’s behavior after the event, and he has since apologized. The latest Twitch Rivals event in Europe, the Summer Rumble, has come under fire after one streamer made sexually suggestive comments towards another and harassing them. While playing a League of Legends game against Victoria ‘Vicksy‘ Doman during Twitch Rivals, Cipher threw out remarks targeting the female mid laner. According to Vicksy’s mods, Cipher boldly proclaims “after seeing her, I don’t want her to use Charm on me anymore.” Even after being called out, Cipher continues to make comments objectifying Vicksy: “Sorry, sorry. Charm me my heart, she has a good package, very good.” Cipher’s behavior promoted misogynistic comments in his Twitch chat as well: “Hear her voice if she have a good voice she is ugly,” one commenter said. The chain continues, with Cipher actively joining in on the snowballing misogyny, going as far as calling her the Arabic equivalent of a b*tch. Vicksy has played League of Legends semi-competitively, having achieved Master rank in the game. She’s no casual player, consistently grinding the game and attempting to grow her own brand as a player. But she was broken down by her physical attributes in a professional setting, despite excelling at the game. Vicksy even uses a VTuber fox avatar on her live streams — which one would assume would help avoid the harassment. While sharing her experience publicly, she also states “I wonder why girls are mostly absent in esports [and] competitive settings?” Cipher issued an apology on Twitter after the situation was brought to light: “I said something during Twitch Rivals that I regret. This is not who I am and it was inappropriate. I meant no harm and I was only joking which I shouldn’t have. “Things like this should not define our scene and I truly apologize to Vicksy. I can’t take back what I said and I should be better and do better for our communities. I am sorry again and I am willing to accept the consequences learn and move forward.” Twitch are yet to comment on the situation.

Twitch streamer claimed she was banned for writing subs’ names on her chest – Dexerto
Twitch streamer claimed she was banned for writing subs’ names on her chest Twitter: itsrachryanA Twitch streamer was banned from the platform on Friday, May 13, and claims it was because she was writing subscribers’ names on her chest. Many Twitch partners are banned from the Amazon-owned platform every day, for a multitude of reasons that violate their guidelines. These could range from DMCA strikes, cheating in games, or bullying & harassment. On May 13, however, a number of female streamers were hit with bans for various indiscretions related to their clothing or decisions made while streaming. One of those was Rach Ryan, who suggested that her ban might have been because she “wrote sub gifter names on her chest too low.” wrote sub gifter names on my chest too low (?) idk they didn’t tell me — rach 🍒 (@itsrachryan) May 13, 2022 Twitch doesn’t comment on individual bans, so while Rach isn’t 100% sure of the reason, she does believe this is what it boils down to. She later expressed her disappointment at receiving a 3-day ban rather than a 24-hour suspension, calling out “women doing squats in bikinis in hot tubs” while she was banned “for sharpie.” It’s crazy that my first ever ban on twitch results in a 3 day ban. No warning ever. No 24 hour suspension. 3 DAYS? For writing on my chest 🫠 There are women doing squats right now in bikinis in hot tubs and i’m banned for the first time for SHARPIE??? — rach 🍒 (@itsrachryan) May 13, 2022 This came shortly after bans were handed out to streamers TheDanDangler and the newly-returned Corinna Kopf, who came back after a tenure on Facebook Gaming at the start of 2022. DanDangler was streaming in the bikini category while wearing a bikini, later asking if Twitch is “trying to kill itself.” Kopf was banned for wearing “inappropriate attire” on stream. With the ongoing run of women being banned on the platform for their choices of clothing, Twitch is clearly looking to clamp down on channels they believe to be ignoring the rules.

Twitch streamer celebrates with mom after going from five viewers to thousands – Dexerto
Twitch streamer celebrates with mom after going from five viewers to thousands Twitch: Frankiep423A dedicated Twitch streamer who had been broadcasting for eight months to just a handful of viewers suddenly found himself with thousands of watchers- and he brought his mom onstream to celebrate the occasion. Twitch Streamer Frankiep423 started streaming almost a year ago, but had struggled to break into the competitive scene, with most streams reaching around 50 total views. Nevertheless, he kept at it, streaming a combination of Overwatch and Atomic Heart. His big break came after he went viral in a TikTok video which brought new viewers to his stream, allowing him to break 100 viewers for the first time ever. Twitch streamer brings mom on to celebrate going viral Frankiep423 watched his viewer count tick up in real-time, then brought his mom onto the stream to say hello to the new watchers. “Forty viewers? Wait, are we at forty? Don’t lie. They finally put faith in the kid. This is my wonderful mother.” However, the introduction was cut short when Frankie came under fire in an Overwatch 2 match. The clip quickly went viral on Twitter, with more and more people being encouraged to help the fledgling Twitch streamer out. By the end of his latest stream, Frankie had a view count of 1.5k. For comparison, his last stream had less than 60 viewers, so that’s quite an improvement. Several watchers said that the clip was extremely wholesome and lighthearted, and the kind of content that Twitch needed more of. One commenter said: “This is AWESOME!!! Need more uplifting posts like this going around.” Another replied: “Pretty awesome everyone is asking for him to run ads. W community and amazing people.” For more news and updated on Twitch streamers, check out our coverage of Kai Cenat’s ban from the platform, and speculations that he might move to Kick.

Twitch streamer receives bizarre channel ban for spamming emotes – Dexerto
Twitch streamer receives bizarre channel ban for spamming emotes ForSale18/TwitchTwitch streamer Terry ‘ForSale18’ received a temporary ban from the platform for spamming emotes in a fellow broadcaster’s channel. Twitch has come under fire in recent weeks for not acting upon criticism of Alinity ‘Alinity’ Devine, as well as turning Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ channel into a promotion page, following his move to Mixer, that had some images showcased. Yet, one of their stranger decisions has come in the form of striking down a streamer for spamming emotes in another channel’s chat. ForSale18 can regularly be found playing games that involve viewer participation. On August 11, Forsale18 revealed that his channel had been suspended following his first-ever Minecraft stream and that he was confused by how he could have broken Twitch’s strict Terms of Service. After some quick investigating with Twitch support, which was curtailed by the team not recognizing his ban at first, the streamer was informed that he had received a three-day temporary suspension and that he needed to “chill on spamming emotes.” I just received an email, idk if it was in reply to the ticket or what, but it looks like a 3 day for spam? Apparently i need to chill on spamming emotes lol — Forsale18 :airplane:️TWITCHCON 2019!:beach_with_umbrella: (@forsale1818) August 11, 2019 Of course, with this being Twitch – where the majority of viewers go crazy with spam in a number of different channels – Forsale18’s fellow streamers and fans were left confused by the suspension. “All it takes is a few viewers to get butt hurt and report someone to trigger an automated response like this,” he said, responding to one fan who noted that Twitch would have to ban every user for spam. “I’m not worried about it, I thought maybe I had really f*cked up somehow lol. Just glad it’s only a 3 day.” All it takes is a few viewers to get butt hurt and report someone to trigger an automated response like this. It’s three days, on days I don’t even stream lol, I’m not worried about it,” he responded to another fan who tried to call in help from Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem. Meh. It remains to be seen if the suspension was automated or if Twitch is, indeed, cracking down on chat spam. If so, it could be a sad day for those viewers who love nothing better than a ‘4Head’ or ‘Kappa’ message. Dexerto has reached out to both Forsale18 and Twitch for comment and will update this show when necessary.

Twitch streamer allegedly caught cheating on Counter-Strike hilariously tries to play it down – Dexerto
Twitch streamer allegedly caught cheating on Counter-Strike hilariously tries to play it down Twitch: DJ_BANANERTwitch streamer ‘DJ_BANANER’ was allegedly caught cheating while playing Counter-Strike: Source, and after unsuccessfully trying to play it down, promptly deleted his channel. Valve has been cracking down on CSGO cheaters and hackers in 2021, although there are still some exploits that people are concerned about. However, Counter-Strike: Source is a different beast. Despite being released all the way back in November 2004, a handful of servers are still populated particularly ones based on minigames and mods. But unfortunately, given how old it is, it can be a bit of a minefield when it comes to hackers. According to a number of users in this Reddit thread, they believe they caught one red-handed after an on-stream mix-up. After the streamer tabbed out to a screenshot showing him using what appears to be a hack in the thumbnail of his stream, he tried to play it down. “Yeah, it’s red boxes, but I don’t know what they are,” he said while sighing. Then, he tabbed back into the game and finished off the round. However, he decided to delete his Twitch channel shortly after. At least one person took that, as well as his initial reaction, as an admission of guilt. Read More: The CSGO Record That Will Never Be Broken! – However, someone believed to be his friend claimed he’s innocent. “This guy bought the PC second-hand from his buddy who apparently had a wallhack downloaded,” he wrote. “[He] didn’t even know about it or notice it.” The jury is still out as to whether or not he’s guilty. However, regardless of what the verdict is, people have been poking fun at the situation. “No wonder he’s cheating. Look at that aim and movement,” wrote one person. “Cheating in Counter-Strike: Source Gun Game in 2021, what a f**king loser,” wrote another. Either way, DJ_BANANER’s Twitch channel is no longer active and there’s no word on if or when he’ll be back.

Twitch streamer carjacked at gunpoint gets banned “indefinitely” [UPDATED] – Dexerto
Twitch streamer carjacked at gunpoint gets banned “indefinitely” [UPDATED] Instagram: JONNYZETATV / PixabayUPDATE 5:25PM PST SEPTEMBER 18: BeesOnMyHeadTV’s “indefinite” Twitch suspension was short lived, as he has now been unbanned on the platform. Streaming service Twitch has banned ‘BeesOnMyHeadTV’ from its platform for the foreseeable future after he was carjacked and shot at during a live broadcast. While in-real-life broadcasting is a popular category on streaming websites such as Twitch and YouTube, sometimes it also brings the harsh reminder that life stops for no-one and unexpected and unpredictable things can happen. IRL streamer BeesOnMyHeadTV found this out the hard way during his livestream on September 14 after he was suddenly shot at and carjacked. Twitch suspended his account for the behaviour caught on camera, and has since informed the streamer that he won’t be getting it back any time soon. Twitch banned the IRL streamer On September 16, BeesOnMyHeadTV tweeted out a screenshot of an email he’d received from Twitch after his account was banned. Read More: Borderlands 3 passes shroud’s “true test” – The email in question states that the platform had taken the decision to suspend the user and issue a Community Guidelines strike against him to “protect his privacy” due to an “on-screen emergency”. Fans flooded his replies with comments, unhappy that the streamer had been banned for the foreseeable future for a situation that wasn’t his fault. Another person argued against the streamer’s outrage, and said that Twitch made a logical decision in banning him, as it would forcefully remove the clip from its website. “While it does suck that you got banned, Twitch did make the logical decision.” the user commented. “They don’t want a VOD going around on their site showing some maniac firing a gun off.” “Surely they could have accomplished this without the strike?” a fan replied, questioning why the platform would suspend the IRL streamer instead of simply removing the video. Surely they could have accomplished this without the strike? — Some Dude (@OhMilkSteak) September 16, 2019 BeesOnMyHeadTV might be able to return to Twitch if he contests his ban with the streaming service, as it’s been known to lift “indefinite” suspensions in the past. Dexerto will update the article if any further developments regarding the situation occur.

Twitch has kept her partnership intact, despite accusations that have come to light from Sevinth’s ex-boyfriend Clint Karacson of an abusive incident. During a livestream, he showed an arrest record for Sevinth, and the injuries she allegedly inflicted upon him. Allegations against streamer Sevinth “I’ve got permanent scars on my face now” he claimed. “It’s f**king bullsh*t” Karacson remarked* about her channel still being available and partnered. “Everybody wants to laugh about it, it’s a guy getting scratched by a 100lbs girl. Let’s just say I was the partnered streamer and I was charged with that sh*t, and I went to jail, I would already be banned off Twitch. Twitch doesn’t give a f**k about that.” In another clip, Karacson shows images of injuries that he claims he sustained to his head. Arrest records show that Sevinth was charged on July 17 with “Assault causes bodily injury family violence”, and was released on bond the following day. Sevinth was banned from Twitch on August 12, for a Nudity and Attire policy strike. The ban lasted two days. Sevinth has not responded publicly to the accusations.

Twitch streamer captures terrifying moment 7.6 earthquake shakes Japan – Dexerto
Twitch streamer captures terrifying moment 7.6 earthquake shakes Japan Twitch: shiori_japan1A Twitch streamer caught the terrifying moment a 7.6 earthquake rocked Japan on New Year’s Day during a live broadcast, leaving viewers shocked as her house trembled. On Monday, January 1, a massive earthquake struck Japan’s west coast in its Ishikawa prefecture, rocking the country’s central island and prompting tsunami alerts all the way to neighboring nations like Russia and South Korea. According to reports, the quake killed at least one person, taking out buildings and even starting fires, leaving “tens of thousands” of homes without power. One Twitch streamer, who happened to be broadcasting during the time of the quake around 4 PM, managed to capture the moment during her broadcast, leaving viewers shocked. Twitch streamer captures massive Japan earthquake in terrifying broadcast Japanese Twitch streamer ‘Shiori’ was streaming in Niigata, Japan — an area about four hours away from the quake’s epicenter in Ishikawa prefecture — when she received an earthquake alert on her phone. “Oh my god, it’s big!” she exclaimed. “I gotta go outside!” The streamer fled from her home as viewers could see the room visibly shaking, rocking back and forth as the sound of rumbling and items falling off of shelves grew louder and louder. The moment was nothing short of horrific, leaving viewers stunned as they commented in the chat: “Oh no,” “Holy shit,” “I hope they get out safely.” The moment lasted for about two minutes before Shiori returned to her room, reassuring viewers that she and her family were alright but were preparing for a possible evacuation. “Guys, we’re okay, everybody’s alive,” she said. “But we just had a super huge one — level six? — so we’re gonna prepare for evacuation right now.” Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida mobilized search and rescue teams in an effort to free any trapped citizens and save lives. “I urge people in areas where tsunamis are expected to evacuate as soon as possible,” he said. As reports continue to flow in, Japan’s disaster prevention app on Twitter/X was prohibited from posting about the situation due to reaching the site’s API limit on their “basic” subscription, sparking outrage against the platform.

Twitch streamer calls for ban warnings after suspension for showing Omegle – Dexerto
Twitch streamer calls for ban warnings after suspension for showing Omegle Twitch/StockUnlimitedA Twitch streamer by the name of ‘VCruzzin’ is calling for the platform to start warning streamers about potentially bannable content after he got banned for broadcasting Omegle on his channel. When you break Twitch TOS during a stream, you’re likely to receive a ban — whether it’s automatic or your broadcast gets reported by a viewer. The Amazon-owned website has an entire list of banned games and other content, as well as rules in their TOS that prevent streamers from showing banned creators. Twitch streamer ‘VCruzzin’ was issued a ban for streaming Omegle on his channel and now he’s calling for the platform to begin issuing ban warnings beforehand. Streamer calls for ban warnings On June 23, Twitter ban-reporting page Streamerbans reported that VCruzzin was banned from the platform. The creator quickly shared the tweet and explained to a fan that he was on the randomized video chat website Omegle, revealing that he did not know it was against TOS to broadcast. Although he wasn’t aware of the rules regarding the website, he explained in another tweet that he takes “full responsibility” for not knowing. I was on Omegle. Nothing even happened. Apparently you can’t even be on the website while streaming. Smh — VCruzzin (@V_Cruzzin) June 24, 2022 Minutes later, he posted a tweet calling for Twitch to implement a warning system for streamers who are broadcasting bannable content. This would be similar to YouTube Gaming’s pre-ban warning that allows streamers to close copyright material before their stream gets disconnected. He said: “Also, I’m taking full responsibility for not knowing Omegal[sic] was a banned site. But I just wish there was a warning system on Twitch instead of straight to a ban. @TwitchSupport, I’d appreciate it if we could talk more about that in the future.” Also, I’m taking full responsibility for not knowing Omegal was a banned site. But I just wish there was a warning system on Twitch instead of straight to a ban. @TwitchSupport I’d appreciate it if we could talk more about that for the future. #FreeV — VCruzzin (@V_Cruzzin) June 24, 2022 Later on, he doubled down on his idea — explaining that he thinks there should be a warning system because his ban was only for one day. “The ban is for “1 Day”… this is why I say there should be a warning system. You can consider a 1 day not serious but when you do this for a living it isn’t cool,” he tweeted. The ban is for “1 Day”… this is why I say there should be a warning system. You can consider a 1 day not serious but when you do this for a living it isn’t cool. Thanks to everyone that reached out and showed support, y’all real ones fr. I’ll be live again on Monday💛 — VCruzzin (@V_Cruzzin) June 24, 2022 Many of the creator’s fans are in support of the ban warning idea, so maybe the idea will be put to vote on Twitch’s feedback and suggestions forum, UserVoice. Twitch streamer calls out another streamer for passing on host: “I will ruin you” – Dexerto
Twitch streamer calls out another streamer for passing on host: “I will ruin you” Twitch: G5_Sin / Instagram: AyeHunniTwitch streamer AyeHunni was elated after she was raided while streaming Warzone, but the situation turned sour after she passed on the raid to her friend, prompting the original raider to angrily call on his fans to block her. ‘Raiding’ can create some of the most communal moments on Twitch. The premise is simple: a streamer with a larger viewerbase sends their viewers to another streamer’s channel, boosting their profile. Over the years, raiding has Twitch’s most wholesome moments, with chess stars Alexandra and Andrea Botez reducing a small streamer to tears when they raided him with 40k viewers, and another small streamer making $85,000 after being raided by crypto enthusiasts. For a relatively small streamer like AyeHunni, who streams variety to 1.3k followers, a raid could make a huge difference to their profile. Unfortunately, the situation didn’t pan out exactly as she hoped. While streaming Warzone, AyeHunni was raided by streamer G5_Sin, who sent over 100 viewers to her channel. She was absolutely ecstatic. “No shot you just did this!” However, as AyeHunni was coming to the end of her stream, she decided to pass the raid onto her friend, who was equally happy to have a massive influx of viewers. But G5_Sin was not happy with her passing on his viewers to another channel. “She passed my people on to her people,” he said, clearly not impressed. “Nah, we’re not doing that… you try to play me, I will ruin you.” https://twitter.com/AyeHunni/status/1413272631114027011 He encouraged his fans to unfollow and block her, but later admitted he was “very intoxicated”, and claimed it was “one stupid moment”. “I’m honestly sorry if I came off out of line, but you also have to view things from my perspective a little,” he said. In a statement to Dexerto, G5_Sin said, “I was extremely intoxicated and the stream clearly shows that.” He explained that he has apologized to AyeHunni privately also. On July 11, AyeHunni posted a series of Discord messages between them both, which appear to threaten legal action for using the footage from his stream. https://twitter.com/AyeHunni/status/1414005886750642178 AyeHunni was not initiated, posting “I never showed anything on my stream in regards to this so it’s not intellectual property.. and I never said anything bad about him. There is no case.” While most of the time Twitch raids provide a great bonding experience between streamers, as well as boosting profiles, things didn’t quite pan out this time around.

Twitch streamer CallMeKevin raises over $43k in charity hot tub stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer CallMeKevin raises over $43k in charity hot tub stream Twitch: CallMeKevinIrish Twitch streamer Kevin ‘CallMeKevin’ O’Reilly decided to take advantage of the ‘hot tub meta’ and raised a substantial amount of money for charity in the process. The hot tub meta is something that has caused huge controversy among the Twitch community throughout 2021. Twitch have advised that they’re “closely” monitoring hot tub streams, while streamers such as Valkyrae have defended it and Malena is vehemently against it. Regardless of where you stand on the matter, it’s clear they’ve caused significant division, but CallMeKevin saw an opportunity to really do something good for his community and for charity. In a tweet posted at the end of his stream on May 13, Kevin was clearly absolutely mindblown at what had happened. https://twitter.com/CallMeKevin1811/status/1392938833365422080 In just three hours, his viewers managed to raise $43,330.20 for St Jude’s Children Research Hospital, which treats the toughest childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. Kevin thanked everyone who was involved, calling it “mind-blowing,” adding that “we did a really good thing today.” The stream was chock full of entertainment, and Kevin even battled through a storm to keep things going, the best opportunity to start singing his sea shanties. https://twitter.com/CallMeKevin1811/status/1392957896833519617?s=20 He had a number of challenges, raffles, and more for reaching certain milestones, with a goal of $10,000, but he and his community seriously exceeded that. While the hot tub meta may have caused a stir among the Twitch community, Kevin decided to take it and do something good, and we would love to see more like this in the future.

Twitch streamer Brunenger finally unbanned after 2 years – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Brunenger finally unbanned after 2 years Twitter: Team HereticsTwitch streamer Brunenger has made his return to the platform following a two-year ban, marking the occasion with a celebratory broadcast. We’ve seen endless amounts of streamers forcibly removed from Twitch, though their suspension is normally short-lived. In the case of Brunenger, his Twitch ban resulted in a nearly two-year absence from the platform. His mere presence affected the livelihood of other creators too, including the likes of TheGrefg, who was banned for featuring Bruneneger in a record-breaking stream. Now, after continuing to create YouTube content and remain in the streaming community, Brunenger’s Twitch account has been restored. Twitch streamer Bruneneger announces streaming return On December 2, the Twitter account @StreamerBans revealed that Brunenger had “been unbanned after 1 year, 8 months, and 4 weeks!” It didn’t take long for Brunenger’s page to breathe life once more and the Argentine/Spanish-speaking streamer hasn’t hesitated to spread the word. “Thank you all for the support this year and a half banned,” Brunenger said in a social media post to his fans. The streamer continued: “We are finally back, I’m waiting for you all this Sunday 4/12 at http://Twitch.tv/brunenger to celebrate an epic stream of the return.” Brunenger was originally banned for showing a toy weapon on his stream, which as a result was flagged by the platform. Others have taken the opportunity to welcome him back into the streaming world, with Team Heretics posting, “after almost 2 years justice was done. Welcome back to Twitch.” Brunenger’s first Twitch stream since last year will occur on December 4, though a specific time has yet to be unveiled by the streamer.

Twitch streamer breaks his table with bare hands in a fit of rage – Dexerto
Twitch streamer breaks his table with bare hands in a fit of rage Twitch: PlaqueboymaxTwitch streamer Plaqueboymax broke a table that was right next to his streaming setup after another streamer RapperDude provoked him in a discord call. While there are many instances of things breaking on Twitch, be it tables, chairs, or monitors. Most of them are either scripted as a part of an elaborate joke or at least not done with bare hands. This is what sets Plagueboymax’s fit of rage apart from other instances of similar situations on Twitch. As it appears this breaking of a table was not scripted. What’s more, it was done with his bare hands. It all started when RapperDude called Max via Discord and started the call by asking him: “Why did you say that you do not like females? It’s kinda weird man.” This already put plaqueboymax into a bad mood, before the call continued another 10 minutes where RapperDude appears to try and tick Max off on purpose to get a reaction before he finally snaps and starts hitting the table next to his setup in the heat of the moment, which was immediately clipped. Timestamp of 10:00 Plaqueboymax punches his table Plaqueboymax’s assault on the table next to his setup ended with it partially breaking. Following this, he picked it up and showed it off on camera before saying that he never wants to receive a call from RapperDude ever again. The trial of destruction doesn’t seem to end there, as Max’s camera goes out after he put the table down. Eventually, he fixes the problem and the feed from his camera comes back, after which he asks his viewers if he can get “a moment of silence for my table, please,” while displaying the battered bit of furniture. Max and his chat laughed off the entire happening and all were well for the rest of the broadcast. We sincerely hope his hands are okay.

Twitch streamer breaks LosPollosTV’s world record for longest livestream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer breaks LosPollosTV’s world record for longest livestream Twitch/callmecypherThe record for longest uninterrupted livestream now belongs to a relatively unknown Twitch streamer by the name of CallMeCypher after a grueling 200 hours and change. Cypher began his record quest by complete accident after just trying to surpass his own personal best for consecutive hours streaming. After passing out, his chat began to encourage him to keep going to try to beat a world record. After looking at the options available, the streamer decided to go for the big one, which at the time was held by LosPollosTV, who set the previous record earlier in April. “We decided, ‘hey, maybe we can go for this,’” the streamer told Dexerto. To help pass the time, the new record holder said he played a lot of Valorant – the new tactical shooter by Riot Games. Unfortunately, the record-breaking stream came to an abrupt end because his streaming PC ended up facing technical issues since it was running on only eight gigabytes of RAM. That’s a New WORLD RECORD BABY! 196 hrs and counting lets keep it rolling! https://t.co/gZeEgLfBRF pic.twitter.com/EgwK9KjR9t — CallMeCypher.com (@CallMeCypher_TV) April 29, 2020 “My PC was just freezing and stuttering,” Cypher revealed, so while he still got the record, he couldn’t pump his numbers up further, ending the stream at the 200:18:17 mark. That said, the broadcast was only down for ninety seconds and the VOD remained live, so it’s possible that number could be even higher. Surprisingly, the streamer wasn’t even that tired: “I feel pretty good honestly, I’m kinda nocturnal at this point.” So restarted pc because it was dying but when I rebooted and stream saw on dashboard twitch vod didn’t reset y’all think it still counts? — CallMeCypher.com (@CallMeCypher_TV) April 29, 2020 As for LosPollosTV trying to get the record back, Cypher doesn’t seem fazed and welcomes him to try: “I love LosPollos, I love his content, he’s a great streamer and I’ve been subbed to him a couple of times.” “It’s not about whose record it was,” he added. “It could have been literally anyone and I still would have tried to do this because I always like pushing myself and my boundaries.” Only time will tell how long the new record will stand for, especially with it changing hands twice in the same month already.

Twitch streamer breaks down crying after chat says she doesn’t stream enough – Dexerto
Twitch streamer breaks down crying after chat says she doesn’t stream enough Twitch / SommersetTwitch streamer Sommerset broke down during her stream after viewers in her chat started complaining about her streaming schedule, for being late and her overall lack of streams. Twitch streamers of all sizes, from the leading streamers of xQc and Kai Cenat, to smaller and rising creators have long been plagued by strenuous streaming schedules. Whether its bigger streamers not trying to fall off and attempting to maximise the benefits of having high amounts of viewers, or smaller streamers trying to grow and make a living, it has proved tricky to get it right. Now, one streamer has come under fire from her Twitch viewers in the live chat for not streaming enough as she has became more popular. This soon led her to break down crying during the stream. Twitch streamer cries after viewers complain over lack of streams Fortnite creator Sommerset started their stream and admitted: “Morning, I tried to get on by 9, but I was so tired.” During the stream, she streamed Fortnite as usual. However, after a few hours she stopped to address her viewers who had been complaining about her lack of streaming hours and not being on-time in regards to her stated streaming schedule. “When I first started streaming I grinded like crazy, I was at home and that’s all I did. And I am glad I did because I needed to grind out the hours, but I am finally in a spot in my streaming career when I can let up a little bit. “I am tired of everyday getting on stream and people like nagging on about it, and its not enough or i’m not playing with the right people at the right times or anything. It is hard, people look up to me, there is people that depend on me.” She continued to adress the complaints, instructing her viewers: “Even though, I am still streaming, still trying to stream everyday, even if its not as long as it should be. So if you can’t respect that I don’t want you to be in here.” Shorty after, Sommerset started a Fortnite match, before suddenly announcing: “I’m getting off, i’ll see you guys Monday okay,” and then instantly ended the Twitch stream.

Twitch streamer breaks down in tears after seeing rat in restaurant GiannieLee, InstagramTwitch IRL streamer Giannie Lee’s time in Germany has taken another turn for the worse as she burst into tears inside a restaurant. The Korean internet personality has continued to regular livestreams during her lengthy visit to the European country, with her latest broadcasts showing her to be in the city of Cologne. After sitting down in a restaurant and intending to interact with her audience for a few moments before her meal, things never turned out like they were supposed to when the chat pointed out that she had some company. However, it wasn’t the type of company she wanted, apparently… Giannie’s fans informed her of what looked like a mouse, but could easily have been a rat, that appeared just next to her table in the eatery. Not exactly the perfect way to sit down and have dinner. Another shocking moment from Giannie Lee’s Germany trip This isn’t the first shocking moment that Giannie has had during her visit, after she was harrassed by racists on a number of occasions while in Berlin, on April 22. In that instance, she broke down to tears more than once, before being consoled by a German man, who apologized for the behaviour of some people she encountered in the city. “Very good girl, welcome to Germany,” the man said. “I’m sorry about my German compatriots, I feel sorry, she’s very good. Hopefully the rest of her trip will be a bit more positive than the incidents shown here, but it doesn’t seem like she’s had the best of luck so far. That’s for certain.

Twitch streamer blasted for banning “disgusting” viewers over small donations – Dexerto
Twitch streamer blasted for banning “disgusting” viewers over small donations Twitch/katsplaytwitchTwitch streamer ‘Katsplay’ is being roasted all over social media after a clip that showed her asking moderators to ban viewers for donating less than a dollar started spreading online. It’s normal for Twitch streamers to thank viewers for donations, regardless of the amount, just for appreciating their content enough to pay for it. This wasn’t the case for Katsplay, though, as she expressed extreme disdain for those in her chat who weren’t donating enough, in her eyes. On March 15, a video clip of the streamer calling her viewers “disgusting” started spreading on Twitter, with many upset with how she conducted herself on the platform. “I’m going to f***ing ban you if you donate less than 10 bits,” Katsplay said. “If you can’t afford to f***ing subscribe to my channel, f***ing leave! I f***ing hate you guys.” https://twitter.com/ArkhamD4/status/1371379544347848704 It’s unclear if the streamer was familiar with the actual value of bits, as 10 bits equals out to being about $0.10. Nonetheless, her rant continued on, where she accused viewers of not being able to “afford” her channel and content. “They’re disgusting! I’m sorry if they’re f***ing disgusting and they can’t afford more than one dollar. F***ing ban them, I’m serious!” she added. “They can’t even afford one f***ing dollar. I don’t want poor people in my f***ing chat.” She went on to change her evaluation, demanding her mods to ban any viewer who donated less than 100 bits. “I don’t want them here. They’re poor,” she said. I can’t believe I used to follow her. I’m ashamed for her. Disgusting behaviour, not to mention incredibly annoying. “I don’t want facking poor people in chat” x5 like girl… noooooo. I know they say there’s no such thing as bad publicity, but this shit is BAD and so cringy. — Lithdreynn (@Lithdreyn) March 15, 2021 Her remarks have not gone over well with the general Twitch community. The original uploader of the now-viral clip wrote, “I’m totally fine with girls doing their thing on Twitch, but this girl shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the platform.” “Yes, she may be drunk but come on, she’s vile,” ArkhamD4 added. “I can’t believe I used to follow her. I’m ashamed for her. Disgusting behavior, not to mention incredibly annoying,” another remarked. People pay alot of money to be misstreated by women. And people pay even more money to have women tell them exactly what to with their money. Look up FinDom financial domination. — n3lswn 🍑💦💋LIVE NOW💋 (@n3lswn) March 15, 2021 Others, however, weren’t so quick to pass judgment, and think this is just part of her Twitch routine. “People pay a lot of money to be mistreated by women. And people pay even more money to have women tell them exactly what to with their money. Look up FinDom financial domination,” one viewer hypothesized. Katsplay isn’t the first streamer to come under fire for attacking viewers for low donations, by far; Notably, fellow streamer Invadervie gained an equal amount of criticism after claiming that viewers who couldn’t afford a $10 subscription shouldn’t have been watching her stream. https://twitter.com/katsplayTV/status/1371478630480683013 So far, the backlash doesn’t seem to be getting Katsplay down, as she has even thanked those criticizing her for giving her “clout.” Only time will tell if the streamer will come forward to apologize as viewers continue to express distain regarding her viral rant.

Twitch streamer blasted for “fatphobic” comments about “lazy” people – Dexerto
Twitch streamer blasted for “fatphobic” comments about “lazy” people Twitch: elxokasSpanish-speaking Twitch streamer ‘elxokas’ is coming under fire after he made comments that are being considered “fatphobic” regarding people with higher-weight bodies. 30-year-old elxokas is a prominent streamer on Twitch, where he boasts over 3.2 million followers. He notably rose to prominence in 2022 after gaining half a million followers in January of that year. Since then, elxokas has continued to garner fans due to his “unfiltered personality” and the wide variety of content he streams — but recent comments he made during a February 13 broadcast are sparking dissent online. Elxokas was in the middle of streaming when he made some comments about his success as a streamer before diving into remarks about higher-weight people, calling them “lazy” and “undisciplined.” Twitch streamer elxokas under fire for “fatphobic” comments “In my life I’ve met a lot of talented people… a lot of them. Now, do you know why I haven’t met as many winners? Because people are not disciplined. In my job, I’ve shared my time with people who were way more talented than me, way more talented than me, but they wouldn’t put effort [into] anything,” he said, via a verified translation. “And most of you guys that want to lose weight but are unable to do so, it’s because you are undisciplined and f*cking lazy. That’s the problem you guys have. It’s not an illness nor a genetic problem, 90% of you guys is because you are f*cking lazy. You can blame anybody you want, but the reality is what I’m telling you right now. You’re f*cking lazy and undisciplined, and that’s why you don’t achieve goals.” Elxokas’s remarks have sparked a debate online, with many viewing his words as “fatphobic.” “No, being overweight is not [from] being lazy,” one netizen said in a viral Twitter thread. “There are multiple factors that explain why a person may be overweight. Economic, social, genetic factors, depression problems, anxiety…” However, the streamer is also seeing a swath of support from his fanbase who agree with his views, with some arguing that a popular clip of his stream was taken out of context. “Victimism is the worst of our generation,” one fan wrote. “Luckily 90% of people have decent genetics, and if they don’t lose weight it’s because they don’t control their impulses. Being in good shape is as simple as returning to the habits your body was built to practice.” Thus far, it doesn’t seem as though Elxokas has responded to the debate sparked by his remarks — but this isn’t the first time he’s come under fire. In March 2022, the streamer faced some criticism after it was discovered he had a separate Twitter account he used to argue with his critics.

Twitch streamer blasted by FanDuel dealer for trying to get him fired – Dexerto
Twitch streamer blasted by FanDuel dealer for trying to get him fired Twitch / CappTwitch streamer Cap was live playing Blackjack when his FanDuel dealer started going off on him mid-game over claims he was attempting to get him fired from his job. Gambling streams have been a rising trend over the years, which have often been a hot-topic in the streaming community. In 2022, Twitch cracked down on their gambling regulations, which involved banning sites such as Stake, that feature “slots, roulette or dice games” being broadcast. This led to waves of creators, including xQc and Trainwreck flocking to the Stake-backed streaming platform Kick, whose gambling rules are, naturally, more relaxed. Despite this, Twitch still allows sports betting and classic poker-style casino games, which remain popular with streamers. One of these streamers is Cap, who regularly plays Blackjack on stream, but had an interesting moment when his FanDuel dealer suddenly started roasting him for trying to get him fired. Twitch streamer roasted over attempt to get FanDuel dealer fired During the stream, the FanDuel Blackjack dealer could be heard saying: “Haha f*ck that motherf*cker.” Cap announced to his Twitch viewers: “Haha he talking about me,” as the streamer was shown messaging the FanDuel worker in-game telling him he was getting fired. “Getting fired? Who getting fired, all bets are closed. Yeah right,” as the streamer then messaged him saying: “This your last day buddy.” As the FanDuel employee continued dealing, he further responded: “That’s why I got two jobs, you are up at 4 am in the morning playing Blackjack, you f*cking loser.” To which Cap replied: “Haha, sending that to your manager, your ass gone.” It was not made aware if Cap actually submitted an official complaint and at the time of writing FanDuel has not responded to the situation.

Twitch streamer begs for help after indefinite ban ‘ruins’ his career Twitter/NickichLoLA Twitch streamer is pleading for help after an indefinite ban has forced him to move in with his grandparents and consider dropping streaming completely if he doesn’t get answers. In a video explaining his situation, Nickich revealed he was banned on March 20 at around 1:00 AM while in the middle of a broadcast due to unmoderated hateful comments in his chat. For this crime, the streamer was hit with an indefinite suspension with no indication for when he would ever be allowed back on the platform. Despite trying to get an appeal, he hasn’t heard back from the Amazon-owned company, which has left him worried about his future. https://twitter.com/NickichLoL/status/1379521537083080708 “It’s been over two and a half weeks and I haven’t heard anything back. No progress has been made. Twitch hasn’t hit me up. Nobody has been able to do anything,” the Canadian explained. According to the banned streamer, mass reports could have played a factor in his suspension, but he really has no idea. Now, it’s really making him consider other options available to him. “I have to wait for my appeal to be read that takes months!” he exclaimed. “I would much rather prefer Twitch gave me an automatic fourteen-day, seven-day, a thirty-day ban, so that then I would know when I can go back to streaming.” The streamer, who is in his fourth year of university, is about to finish his semester and had plans to start school again in May. Instead, he delayed it to September because he was planning to stream full-time. “My numbers were getting real good, I had a lot of subscribers. I was peaking and everything and I really thought this was my chance to go full-time and really focus on streaming for a couple months to see what I can do,” he added. “I got hit with this ban and I’ve been filled with anxiety.” He further noted that he literally had to move in with his grandparents all for streaming and had dedicated everything to his passion, but it was all for nothing. https://twitter.com/NickichLoL/status/1373137343020957696 “For the stage in my life I’m at and financially, I can’t keep waiting for Twitch. I can’t keep sitting around. I started applying for jobs and stuff,” he further noted. Worst of all, according to Nickich, even if Twitch appealed his ban and brought his channel back in a couple of months, it would be too late. To end his plea, the streamer asked for any other streamers or organizations to help him and so far, his call for help has been viewed over 150,000 times.

Twitch streamer unbanned after copping DMCA strike twice for same clip – Dexerto
Twitch streamer unbanned after copping DMCA strike twice for same clip Twitter: OmegaProYT / TwitchTwitch streamer ‘OmegaPro’ has had his account wrongfully “terminated” after being hit by two DMCA strikes for the same clip. However, the platform has reversed the decision two days after it was made. This article has been updated to reflect Twitch unbanning OmegaPro’s account. DMCA takedowns are commonplace on Twitch, especially now in 2021 with record labels and others cracking down on what gets used on the platform. However, a streamer getting struck twice for the same clip is unheard of. That’s reportedly what happened to OmegaPro though, a variety streamer who broadcasts everything from GTA RP to JRPGs. After serving a two-day ban for a DMCA strike, OmegaPro was struck immediately with a new ban after going live on May 12. “I got banned for the same VOD that I was banned for last week, a VOD that’s already been deleted,” he said on Twitter. I got banned for the same VOD that I was banned for last week.. a VOD that’s already been deleted https://t.co/NDRACkqDZH — OmegaPro 🍉 (@OmegaProYT) May 13, 2021 The second ban in just a week led to Twitch terminating his account permanently. “The copyright claim seemed to be the exact same as the one I had received the week prior, the only difference being that the claim states I streamed I streamed the same content today that I did last week,” he told Dexerto. “The time stamp given with the copyright takedown was a moment in my stream where I was playing Persona 5. “The copyrighted content was Vampire Diaries.” OmegaPro, who has 33,000 followers on the platform and 100,000 YouTube subscribers, relies on the platform as his main source of income. the ORIGINAL copyright takedown (left) states that i streamed the infringing content on friday may 7th, which is true. the NEW takedown says that the infringed content was streamed today on the 12th, which isnt possible because i was streaming persona at the time pic.twitter.com/dCeAXi9nPL — OmegaPro 🍉 (@OmegaProYT) May 13, 2021 “If I were to lose it, my life would severely negatively impacted. “I do had a decent following on Twitter and YouTube, so assuming this ban doesn’t get reversed, I believe I could start over and build an audience on another streaming platform. “Rebuilding everything would be incredibly mentally and emotionally taxing for me, and I would much prefer to stay on Twitch as I prefer the experience of streaming and viewing streams on there.” OmegaPro’s account wasn’t down for too long though. The streamer got it back within 48 hours on May 14, thanking his fans for all the support. “I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that supported me during this entire ordeal,” he said on Twitter. “So many individuals reached out to me personally to try and help me with nothing to gain at all. The outpouring support truly meant the world to me. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that supported me during this entire ordeal. So many individuals reached out to me personally to try and help me with nothing to gain at all. The outpouring support truly meant the world to me. — OmegaPro 🍉 (@OmegaProYT) May 14, 2021 With his channel back online, OmegaPro now wants to work with Twitch and other parties to try and improve their DMCA processes for other streamers. “Ideally, I would really love to see Twitch change up how they handle DMCA. I think an amazing place to start would be to wipe the strikes after a 90 day period, similar to how YouTube currently handles it and how Twitch handles other TOS violations. “I understand that the DMCA issue is a nuanced one, but I don’t see a reason why DMCA violations should be a permanent mark on your channel.”

Twitch streamer bans “little poor people” who don’t subscribe to her – Dexerto
Twitch streamer bans “little poor people” who don’t subscribe to her Content creators can often be money-hungry in their pursuit of internet fame, however this Twitch streamer has taken things to an entirely new level and threatened to ban everyone watching her stream for free. While popular streamers on Twitch encourage donations and subscriptions, every live broadcast is free to watch at the end of the day. This petty streamer seems to believe that tuning into her broadcast should come at a cost to each and every viewer however. Mid-way through a Fortnite session on December 8, a random viewer chimed in with a simple question and from there on out, the streamer snapped and took on a spiteful tone when addressing the majority of her audience. As a viewer questioned whether or not this particular custom lobby was open to all fans or exclusive to Twitch subscribers, ‘SavageBabyDoll’ seemingly scoffed at the thought of letting viewers engage for free. “Can you ban every little poor person who can’t afford a sub,” the streamer demanded of her moderators. Before long, viewers were removed from the channel and bans were handed out to those watching for free. “I was banned from her stream for asking ‘Do I have to be a sub to do these boxfights?’ Twitter user ‘gh0stty_’ explained, leading to an outpouring of controversy online. https://twitter.com/gh0stty_/status/1203801516110278657 It’s not uncommon for Twitch personalities to host game-nights with their viewers, allowing subscribers to join into a lobby and partake in the action on-stream. The issue here stems from SavageBabyDoll failing to address whether her Fortnite ‘boxfight’ custom lobbies were open to all comers or not. With a total of 57 subscribers on Twitch as prominently displayed under her facecam, it’s no surprise one of her 13,000 followers politely asked to join in. Responding with aggression, the streamer clearly indicated she has no interest in entertaining viewers for free. Following the controversy, the streamer has since made a valiant effort to keep her social media presence locked down. As of the time of writing, not only has she removed all of her previous broadcasts on Twitch, but the content creator has also locked both her Twitter and Instagram accounts. Formerly a streamer under the ‘eRa Eternity’ esports organization, SavageBabyDoll was released from the brand on December 10 as a result of her actions. While her presence on social media remains silent, it remains to be seen if the cash-grabbing streamer will return to Twitch before her current subscribers part way.

Twitch streamer beats Resident Evil 7 while streaming in public library – Dexerto
Twitch streamer beats Resident Evil 7 while streaming in public library Capcom/TwitchA Twitch streamer who goes by the name MinisterGold has just managed to beat Resident Evil 7 on stream, all while using his Steam Deck in the local library. Throughout the last few years, Twitch streamers have begun thinking of ways to stand out from the rest of the community. KeatDawg is one of the most recent examples, having gone viral back in August after building a setup that involves him getting dropped into a pool of water every time he died in a game. Now, Twitch streamer MinisterGold has set himself apart from the rest by beating Resident Evil 7 on stream all while using his Steam Deck inside of his local library. Twitch streamer beats RE7 inside local library MinisterGold set off to beat Resident Evil 7 at the beginning of November, streaming the game onto his Twitch channel inside of a booth at his local library. He used his Steam Deck to be able to play the game and made sure to use one of the isolated booths just in case something in RE7 made him scream. However, on Day 3 he decided to leave the booth and stream from one of the tables on the library floor. Having to adapt to his surroundings, MinisterGold whispered to chat while streaming from the more public tables. Just eight streams and 17 days later, he officially beat the game — which he told Dexerto was his first time playing any of the games in the series as well as his first horror game in general and wanted to do it “for the memes” with his community. Aside from Resident Evil 7 streams, Minister is also known for various Super Mario World broadcasts as well as other indie and retro games — and even has streamed himself developing his own. Twitch streamer banned after mass brawl breaks out in the street – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned after mass brawl breaks out in the street An IRL (in real life) Twitch stream took a shocking turn as a full-on brawl broke out in the middle of the street, as a group of men appeared to gang up on one individual, with the channel now suspended. Twitch streamer ‘Pizzaexplorer‘ was filming his travels around the streets of Hollywood, asking questions to strangers to provide content for his viewers. The channel, which has just over 12,000 followers, got more than it bargained for in this particular IRL stream though, as a fight suddenly erupted just as the streamer was passing through the area. It’s unclear what led to the altercation, but four men can be seen shouting and even spitting on another man, as a woman attempts to block them from fighting, telling the solo individual to leave. The man stood his ground however, taunting the group of men to attack him, but the woman at first seemed to successfully convince the group to back off. Pizzaexplorer himself also tried to encourage the man to back away, rather than continuing to taunt the group. However, as the man continues to refuse to leave, one of his attackers sneaks around behind him and abruptly sucker-punches him in the back of the head, immediately elevating the situation. Despite the woman’s best attempts to neutralize the situation, and pizzaexplorer himself, tempers had flared, and the man continued to antagonize the larger group. After this, there was very little anyone could do to stop the brawl ensuing, as the group of men all ganged up on the one man. He did manage to put one of the men down with a single blow, but as the others piled in, he was quickly overpowered and forced to the ground. Some of the men proceed to kick and punch him as he was down, before more bystanders moved in to break up the scrap. The fight was halted there, as bouncers from nearby clubs and bars stepped in to help break it up, as the man was being well outnumbered. Twitch have since removed the channel from view, likely handing the streamer a short suspension. Acts of violence and broadcasting illegal activities are also not permitted on the platform, and despite the streamer not being physically involved, this could be part of Twitch’s decision. Previously, when a streamer was carjacked at gunpoint, the streamer themselves was handed a short suspension from the platform, with Twitch explaining it was to “protect his privacy” due to an “on-screen emergency”.

Twitch streamer banned indefinitely after passing out drunk on camera – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned indefinitely after passing out drunk on camera LyndonFPS, Twitch / TwitterAs one of the net’s most popular livestreaming platforms, H1Z1 player Lyndon ‘LyndonFPS’ Lauder was in the middle of a broadcast on May 23 when he began nodding off – which many viewers attributed to the tall glass of beer sitting on his desk. However, it wasn’t necessarily the ban itself that surprised Lyndon’s fanbase: rather, another streamer caught the ban happening during his own livestream in real time, leading to incredulous reactions from fans across the net. 600https://twitter.com/LyndonFPS/status/1092175590541582336Streamer ‘VADIKUS007’ was one of the 400 plus viewers watching Lyndon sleep off his beer during the live broadcast – until his channel suddenly went offline. “What?” VADIKUS remarked. “He went offline. Staff is here… this channel has been suspended! Oh, shit. Get banned!” While it was unlikely that Lyndon was banned simply for sleeping on camera, it is highly probable that the battle royale pro was suspended for blacking out due to drinking, which fans noted could be viewed as self-harm by Twitch staff. Lyndon’s fanbase quickly took to Twitter to discuss his ban, with some viewers calling for an end to his suspension in light of other scandals on the platform. “Lyndon is suspended again?” one user wrote. “Man, leave that guy alone. #FreeLyndon” “LyndonFPS suspended again for drinking,” another said of the matter. “No surprise, carry on.” Update – May 24, 2019 (12:39pm ET) Twitch’s ban for LyndonFPS is indefinite, as indicated in a tweet by him. This wouldn’t be the first time a pro gamer has been banned from Twitch after passing out drunk during a livestream, either; Smash Bros Melee pro Joseph ‘Mang0’ Marquez had one too many drinks in celebration of the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory at the NFL playoffs on January 6. Raising his Blue Moon into the air to commemorate the team’s victory, Mang0 fell back in his chair, falling to the floor and out of the camera’s view for around three minutes – ultimately resulting in a ban for “dangerous consumption of drugs and alcohol.” While Mang0 made several Tweets on the matter explaining his apparent blackout, Lyndon has yet to make a statement on his latest ban via social media.

Twitch streamer banned after laughing at disabled man – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned after laughing at disabled man Thanks to the advent of live streaming, more and more internet personalities have found ways to interact with their audiences in real time – but some of these streams can expose toxic behavior. Twitch streamer “BocsGraphics” displayed such toxic behavior during a broadcast in late October, while browsing through viral clips from the site’s “Just Chatting” category. The broadcaster came across a clip from fellow streamer Roger “livinginawheelchair” Faulkner, a wheelchair-bound polymer scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur living with ALS who is unable to move his body on his own. https://twitter.com/liawttv/status/1172380899893116929?s=20Despite Faulkner’s obvious struggle with his condition, Bocs appeared to find the situation humorous, busting out into laughter and even ducking out of frame of the camera for further “comedic” effect. However, another member of Bocs’ voice chat didn’t seem to find the matter very funny, claiming, “I’m not laughing to this. I can’t laugh to this.” (Mobile viewers click here to watch.) The rest of the internet is in large agreement with this statement, with commenters across sites like Twitter and Reddit decrying Bocs for his reaction to Faulkner’s stream. “…this was truly abhorrent,” one Reddit user wrote of the matter. “Just imagine the level of depravity one must possess to mock someone who whilst is in the most severe of situations still dedicates his time to help people.” “Literally laughing at the disabled and ‘ugly people’ on your stream, what sort of ego do you have that allows you to do that?” a Twitter user replied to Bocs’ now-deleted account. “…Is this your content on Twitch? Mocking people for how they are born? Actual tw*t, get help.” Literally laughing at the disabled and “”ugly people”” on your stream, what sort of ego do you have that allows you to do that, you’re an absolute twat and just general disgrace of a human, Is this your content on Twitch? Mocking people for how they are born? actual twat, Get help. — .,.0 (@ilank0k0) October 19, 2019 Bocs Twitch channel has since been banned in wake of his offending clip going viral, with searches for his Twitter profile showing that his account has been similarly deleted. 500With Bocs going dark on social media, the streamer has yet to issue a public apology regarding his actions. In a more positive light, Faulkner has gained a wave of new supporters, with many commenters in the Reddit thread claiming to have sent positive and uplifting messages to the wheelchair-bound streamer in response to Bocs’ hateful behavior.

Twitch streamer banned after being gifted subs with allegedly stolen credit card – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned after being gifted subs with allegedly stolen credit card ShugiKage, Instagram / FreepikThanks to the popularity of livestreaming sites like League of Legends streamer “ShugiiKage” is one such personality, who allegedly got hit with the ban hammer after being gifted subscriptions and bits from a malicious user. Twitch allows fans to support their favorite streamers in a myriad of ways, by subscribing, directly donating, or even gifting subscriptions to other viewers, as well as using bits as a means to donate money in smaller amounts. 600However, Shugii was banned after receiving these donations – a fact she claims was brought about by a donator who’d stolen a credit card. Shugii posted a screenshot of an email sent by Twitch on August 26, which showed that she had been indefinitely banned from the platform for “committing purchase fraud,” with her account “suspended at our discretion and without notice.” 500 Shugii called out Twitch in her post on the subject, claiming that she was being punished for the actions of a credit card thief. “I think it’s so crazy how I can be indefinitely suspended from Twitch because a random person decided to target me and gift subs and bits that were probably used with a stolen card,” she wrote. “….I feel like it should be so easy to prove it wasn’t me, and that I’ve just been targeted by some random stranger who had nothing better to do but to ruin my stream.” person. I feel like it should be so easy to prove it wasnt me and that ive just been targeted by some random stranger who had nothing better to do but to ruin my stream. I’ve spent so many hours building up my community and it was the light of my life. I really need help. :broken_heart: — Shugii (@ShugiKage) August 27, 2019 While the streamer has yet to make another statement on the matter, her account has since been restored at the time of writing – likely a relief for both Shugii and her fanbase of over 1,600 followers on the platform. Shugii’s post saw ample backlash against Twitch, who have come under fire in recent months due to a scandal surrounding streamer Alinity Divine, after not receiving a ban from the site despite throwing her cat over her head during a July 18 stream. In spite of the backlash, Shugii’s account has since been restored – although an exact reason for her ban has yet to be released in light of the alleged credit card fraud.

Twitch streamer banned indefinitely for “sexual content” in Ultimate Fishing broadcast – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned indefinitely for “sexual content” in Ultimate Fishing broadcast Steam/Instagram/ih3artpewTwitch streamer Sara ‘ih3artpew‘ Heart is hitting out at the Amazon-owned platform for banning her for “sexual content” just minutes into a game of Ultimate Fishing. Streaming platform Twitch is once again under fire for banning a streamer for sexual content despite the creator insisting they did nothing wrong. On August 22, streamer Sara Heart went live to play Ultimate Fishing when her stream ended abruptly due to a ban, which ended up being indefinite. In a post on social media, Heart explained the situation and revealed what she was wearing prior to the ban, which completely caught her off guard. Streamer blasts Twitch for banning her over “sexual content” According to Heart, she had been live for just three minutes while wearing a long-sleeve shirt that showed some cleavage when she was hit with a Twitch ban. “I was playing Ultimate Fishing and wearing this. I hadn’t even been streaming for more than 3 minutes,” she explained. “Please explain to me how fishing in a long sleeve shirt is sexual somehow.” Speaking with Dexerto, Heart said this was her third Twitch ban and shared an email she received stating that due to the “severe nature of this violation” she had been suspended indefinitely. “Nothing was sexualized,” she stressed. “I mean, I know I have cleavage, but with a large chest, it’s kind of hard to not have some and I’m in Arizona. It’s hot as f**k here.” “I don’t know if I’m expected to dress like a nun, to never wear a tank top or what, but my game screen is usually larger than the cam, and other than the July 4th stream I did with a patriotic top and jean jacket, I dress pretty tame,” the streamer continued. This is hardly the first time a streamer’s regular clothes have gotten them in trouble. Back in 2020, Overwatch streamer Fareeha received a warning for wearing “lingerie” despite just being in her gym clothes. Heart still has the option to appeal her Twitch ban, but she says the “unrelenting amount of bans” have driven her to stream on platforms where she won’t be punished for “having a large chest.”

Twitch streamer banned for “sexual content” after showing her feet on stream – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for “sexual content” after showing her feet on stream Twitch/Justketh1A Twitch streamer was left completely baffled after she was banned for “sexual content” when she showed her “sexy” feet to viewers. Twitch bans are almost always a hot-button topic in the community, especially when they pertain to sexual content – and streamer JustKeth is the latest reason why. During a recent broadcast, the streamer was spinning a wheel with a series of actions on it that she would perform depending on where it landed. Viewers would have to donate $20 in order to get a spin of their own. While some of them were harmless, such as answering DMs, squatting, or not being able to drink Pepsi for five hours, one of the possibilities landed her in hot water: Feet. Streamer banned for showing her “sexy” feet on Twitch Following her ban, JustKeth took to social media to address the situation and update fans on why she was suspended. According to the Thai streamer, Twitch had an issue with the fact that she was “offering sexual content” for money in the form of her feet. “Damn, it’s just a meme, bruh!” she exclaimed. “[Are] my feet too sexy?” Twitch’s community guidelines do, however, state that “fetishizing behavior or activity, such as focusing on body parts for sexual gratification or erotic role play” are prohibited. Additionally, users are not allowed to offer or solicit “any sexual content in exchange for money, services, or items of value.” That means that users who sell their soles are risking a punishment from Twitch. In a screenshot from the broadcast, JustKeth revealed that she did in fact show her feet during the broadcast, which, for everyone who likes a good toe every now and again, is sadly not allowed. On the bright side, Keth says the ban will only last three days, so she won’t have long to wait until she can stream again.

Twitch streamer banned for “testing new policies” with week of bikini streams – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for “testing new policies” with week of bikini streams Twitch: itspinkieA Twitch streamer has been banned after “testing new policies” on the platform with a week’s worth of bikini streams. Twitch does not, in fact, have any ‘new’ policies, but the content earned them a ban nonetheless. Twitch has a very stringent set of rules and guidelines that they expect broadcasters to abide by, but sometimes certain circumstances fall into gray areas. One gray area that became prominent throughout 2021 was bikini-clad hot tub streams, because contextual rules allowed swimwear to be worn when at a pool, beach or hot tub. They became so popular on Twitch, that the platform even introduced the ‘Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches’ category, much to some viewers’ dismay. That said, many streamers would wear a bikini or beachwear and subsequently face bans, causing some debate over where the line is. This is something streamer Pinkie wanted to put to the test to kick off May 2022, with a week’s worth of bikini streams. “Was planning on doing bikini streams for the rest of the week to see if Twitch’s new policy on it would mean I’d get banned, turns out it did,” she said in the May 3 tweet. “Got 3 day banned already.” lol was planning on doing bikini streams for the rest of the week to see if twitch’s new policy on it would mean I’d get banned, turns out it did! got 3 day banned already 😅 — Pinkie (@ItsPinkieTV) May 4, 2022 While Pinkie will only have to wait a few days to get back on the platform, it doesn’t seem to bother her all that much that she’s not allowed to stream. Which policy she was testing remains unclear, as there are no new Twitch policies regarding bikini streams. However, one respondent to the above tweet said that they were worried she was “showing too much,” and so violating Twitch’s policy on nudity and sexually suggestive content. While Twitch doesn’t comment on individual bans, Pinkie believes her bikini streams to be the reason for her ban. In 2021, Pinkie was banned after a bizarre clip of her ‘queefing’ on stream went viral, after which she said society needs to “normalize front butt flatulence.”

Twitch streamer banned for using racial slur claims he was misheard – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for using racial slur claims he was misheard PinkWardlol/TwitchA League of Legends streamer, Pink Ward, has been banned from Twitch after Twitch determined he had used hateful language, but he claims that he only said “yikers” – not the ‘n word’. Being misheard and suspended by Twitch is nothing particularly new – not for League of Legends streamers. Back on April 22, Team Liquid’s Ashkan ‘TF Blade’ Homayouni was banned for allegedly using a racial slur during one of his League of Legends streams – despite claiming that he had been misheard and only used the word “idiots.” TF Blade had that suspension lifted, after an outpouring of support, on April 27, yet, a similar incident has once again happened again on Twitch to another LoL streamer. Up-and-coming broadcaster Pink Ward was locked into a game of LoL on May 17 when he mocked his opponents for allowing him to live with such a small amount of health remaining after darting around a big team fight. When some members of his chat tried to accuse him of using a racial slur after the fact, the streamer said: “N-word? What? I said ‘yikers’.” Pink Ward re-watched a clip of what happened, cementing his belief that he didn’t, in fact, utter the slur. “Grayson said yikes and I said yikers,” he added. The streamer noted that he been handed a ban by Twitch, after the fact, but he wasn’t entirely sure what he had done to achieve such a punishment. After receiving his suspension, he tweeted: “Well guess this is gonna set back getting partnership. Not sure what I did, but will see what I can do,” with the notice of his temporary ban attached. Well guess this is gonna set back getting partnership. Not sure what I did, but will see what I can do. pic.twitter.com/L0AEklIMwR — Pink Ward (@Pinkwardlol) May 17, 2019 Some fans quickly jumped in with tweets of support to Pink Ward, asking if he had been in contact with Twitch about getting the suspension lifted. Yet, the streamer mentioned that he hadn’t, yet, spoken to anyone at Twitch about what happened and believed it was an automated ban that had misheard what he said. If this was the reason I was banned for it was just an automated ban I’m sure. I’m not partnered and the way partners are banned are dif from the way non partners are banned. I’m pretty sure there’s one person behind their desk listening to non partners clips to ban them. — Pink Ward (@Pinkwardlol) May 18, 2019 It remains to be seen if Pink Ward will get unbanned for what happened on-stream, but he has been unable to confirm if he was actually suspended for the clip. This post will be updated as and when new information become available.

Streamer Viperous banned for racial slur releases video to prove she said ‘nerd’ – Dexerto
Streamer Viperous banned for racial slur releases video to prove she said ‘nerd’ Popular streamer ‘Viperous’ has hit back at Twitch after she was banned from the streaming platform on November 8, for the alleged use of a racial slur, claiming she actually said “nerd”. Viperous is a popular Twitch streamer, well known for her Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite gameplay, with over 10,000 followers and 1,500 subscribers at the time of her ban. She is also girlfriend of 100 Thieves member Classify, the popular content creator for Nadeshot’s organization. Early on November 9, she tweeted that she had been temporarily banned by Twitch, after they alleged she used a racial slur while live. A quick visit to her Twitch channel confirms the news. After noticing her suspension, Viperous took to Twitter to defend herself and explain the situation to her fans. “I just got banned on Twitch for a clip of me that went around for literally saying “nerd”,” she said. “I call people who kill me nerd all the time and whatever it sounds like iIsaid, it was literally just nerd.” Read More: How to watch KSI vs Logan Paul 2 – She ends her tweet by asking why she has been banned for something she didn’t do. Her boyfriend, The Mob’s Classify, responded to support his girlfriend. He said: “It’s actually so stupid because it’s obvious you said nerd (and anyone who plays with you/watches your stream knows you say it all the time).” It’s actually so stupid because it’s obvious you said nerd (and anyone who plays with you/watches your stream knows you say it all the time) but mfs who don’t know you will just make this way more than it is. Just sucks the subathon was force ended for somethin so dumb — 100T Classy (@Classify) November 9, 2019 Long-time viewers will know that Viperous does indeed frequent the word “nerd”, particularly when she has been killed by opponents. The clip has divided opinion on Reddit, with some arguing it is clear she said “nerd” and it was simply her accent that has led to the confusion. Can’t see the clip below on mobile? Click here. Twitch has been criticized in the past for mistakenly banning users, and have been known to come down hard on users accused of using hateful language. In May of this year, popular LoL streamer PinkWard was banned for using hateful language, but claimed to have used the word “yikers”. Similarly, another LoL streamer, this time TFBlade, was banned for a racial slur in April, despite claiming to have said “idiots”. His ban was subsequently upheld, despite being reduced to 7 days. Read More: Shroud reveals his favorite part about Mixer – As Viperous denies the allegations, it is likely Twitch will look into the matter and revoke their suspension if they find in favor of the streamer. Twitch does not comment publicly on bans or suspensions, to respect users’ privacy.

Twitch streamer banned for profile image of SZA in “inappropriate attire” – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for profile image of SZA in “inappropriate attire” Instagram/SZAIt’s not uncommon to see streamers banned on Twitch for content that is considered more on the risque side, but the platform turned some heads when it banned a streamer for using a profile picture of singer SZA. Solána Imani Rowe, better known by her stage name SZA, is a popular singer with multiple Grammy nominations and even Oscar nomination for best original song. But, an image of her was deemed “inappropriate” to be used on Twitch. On October 2nd, streamer Cavalry was banned for using a photo of SZA, posing without pants while holding a glock and a Macbook. In the email from Twitch, which Cavalry posted, the platform explained that the picture was considered “inappropriate attire” and cited someone wearing a bikini while cooking as being an example of “violative content.” LOOOL TWITCH 1 DAY BANNED ME FOR HAVING @sza WITH A GLOCK AND A MACBOOK AS PFP BC SHE DOESNT HAVE PANTS ON???? LMFAOOOOOOOO pic.twitter.com/n1azYUm97P — john (@fuckcavalry) October 2, 2021 Some users replied to the ban finding it humorous that the gun in SZA’s hand was fine, but not having pants on was the big problem. Others pointed out the hypocrisy in how controversial hot tub streams are allowed on Twitch while pictures of SZA can result in a ban. “There’s literally no way man, this double standard crazy,” a fan of Cavalry’s replied. “Gotta photoshop her some pants on,” another joked. Luckily for Cavalry, the ban was only for one day, so he was able to resume streaming relatively soon, albeit with a photo from Neon Genesis Evangelion instead. It just goes to show that even if someone is a famous singer, using a photo of them that could go against Twitch’s rules can result in bans.

Twitch streamer banned for “humping” Garfield toy for subs YouTube/rickyberwickTwitch has banned popular Canadian YouTuber Ricky Berwick after he decided to “hump” his Garfield toy on stream for twenty gifted subs. Ricky Berwick is a well-known YouTuber and social media personality who specializes in comedic skits, but things got a little bit too extreme during a Twitch broadcast. On January 4, Twitter account StreamerBans alerted the masses that Twitch banned Berwick, prompting mass speculation from fans about what he did to deserve the suspension. Luckily, the YouTuber was quick to reveal exactly what happened and how long the Amazon-owned platform decided his punishment would last. Ricky Berwick banned on Twitch for “humping” Garfield toy On his own page, Berwick posted a screenshot of the email Twitch sent him, revealing that he was banned for “sexually explicit content.” “My Twitch is disabled like me,” he captioned the screenshot, poking fun at himself. In a follow-up comment, he clarified that he was suspended because he made the bold decision to get physical with his Garfield plush doll live on stream. “I humped my Garfield plush (clothed) for 20 subs. Worth the 7-day ban,” he added. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that a streamer has been banned for “humping” something during a broadcast. Back in December, Warzone star Aydan was given a week-long ban for getting frisky with his gaming chair. Seeing as Twitch isn’t playing around when it comes to “humping,” streamers may want to take note and avoid getting sexual with inanimate objects at the risk of being banned.

Twitch streamer banned for playing Forspoken despite it releasing – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for playing Forspoken despite it releasing Luminous ProductionsA Twitch streamer has been suspended for playing the new Forspoken title seemingly early, despite it being live to some players, and some aren’t happy about it. As we’ve seen over the year, whenever a big new game goes live, plenty of Twitch streamers rush to not only be one of the first to play it, but also be one of the first to complete it. Of course, some of these are helped by pre-ordering special editions of games so they get them a few days early, but others use loopholes. By changing a console to another timezone, you typically can play a game a little earlier than planned – even if it’s only a few hours. Some of the biggest names on Twitch have regularly done this in the past. Notably, xQc almost completed The Last of Us 2 before it was released in the United States. However, it seems they’re now clamping down on this practice. Twitch streamer banned for playing Forspoken ‘early’ despite it releasing With Forspoken, the new RPG title from Luminous Productions going live in the Southern Hemisphere, a number of Twitch streamers have jumped on the game a few hours early. That included GTAMen, a Dutch content creator who typically focuses on GTA Online, as he was struck down with a 48-hour ban for playing the game early. “Banned for 48hrs for streaming a game that’s been officially released and legally bought. Cool,” the streamer said, showing the ban email from Twitch. He added that he’d submitted a ticket to have the ban overturned given that it has been released and others have already started streaming it – even if they aren’t in the correct timezone. Some responses were disappointed by Twitch’s decision to bring out the banhammer, pointing to the fact that a number of others hadn’t received the same punishment. “Cannot believe they actually messed up so bad. Hope you get this sorted out,” said one. “Twitch you better fix this ASAP,” added another. Game publishers do, occasionally, warn players against trying to access games earlier by changing their system’s timezone, but punishments don’t usually extend to their channels. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Twitch streamer banned for having sex explodes on social media with huge follower increase – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for having sex explodes on social media with huge follower increase Twitch/kimmikka_The Twitch streamer who was banned from the platform after she was caught having sex during a live broadcast has exploded on social media with over 100,000 followers on TikTok alone. An extremely embarrassing moment in a young streamer’s life may have helped her in the long run after a steamy stream earned her unfathomable notoriety. On August 24, ‘kimmikka’ was streaming live on Twitch when viewers noticed that she and a man were getting physical thanks to a reflection in the background. The streamer claimed the whole situation was just an “drunken accident,” but the damage had already been done. The awkward moment was clipped and shared throughout social media where it was viewed millions of times. The result, while mortifying for the streamer, actually may have catapulted her to fame she otherwise would never have achieved. Streamer gains thousands of followers after Twitch ban Although kimmikka was unbanned on Twitch after seven days, she has since changed her name to ‘kim_mikka_’ where she has managed to grow her channel up quite a bit. According to stat-tracking site Sullygnome, at the time of her Twitch ban, Kim had a mere 231 followers, but she has since grown considerably with over 5,600. Her most recent broadcast from September 8 where she played Valorant and Fall Guys for a bit over three hours even has 20,000 views. On Instagram, the streamer has seen some nice success picking up 20k followers. Not bad considering the photos are mainly just bathroom selfies, beach pictures and shots of her lounging. Finally, on TikTok, the 21-year-old has amassed her most impressive following with nearly 120,000 followers to her name, having hit the 100,000 milestone early in September. That said, it looks like she was doing well on TikTok before her Twitch ban, with quite a few videos that have been seen hundreds of thousands of times. Now that Kim has managed to gain such a big following it will be interesting to see what she does and if it can snowball to even greater heights.

Twitch streamer banned for having sex while live unbanned after seven days – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for having sex while live unbanned after seven days Streamer kimmikka was banned on Twitch after she was caught trying to have stealthy sex during a live broadcast, but access to her account has been restored after seven days. During a live broadcast on August 24, kimmikka and her unknown partner were caught having sexual realizations while she responded to her chatters. A clip of the incident began to circulate on the Livestreamfails subreddit which resulted in a swift ban. However, the ban was not indefinite. Kimmikka told esports reporter Jake Lucky that her ban was only for a week, and she provided further proof to former Twitch streamer Jidion in the form of the email Twitch sent to her. Now, seven days after the news broke of her ban, kimmikka can return to streaming on Twitch as her channel has been unbanned. Kimmikka unbanned after having sex on Twitch stream While there was no nudity or explicit body parts shown onstream, many people in the streaming community expected more than a seven-day ban. They had expected Twitch to up kimmikka’s punishment to a permanent ban seeing how serious her actions were. However, on September 4, kimmikka was unbanned. In fact, her channel has already started to show growth. Her 231 follower count before the incident has more than doubled to 546 after she was unbanned. We don’t know if or when kimmikka will return to streaming, but she will likely have a larger audience than before her short departure from the platform. She had stated that the incident was a “drunken accident” so new viewers probably won’t be seeing more of the content she has become known for.

Twitch streamer banned for “hateful username” after applying for partner – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for “hateful username” after applying for partner Twitch/Unsplash: LinusmimietzA Twitch streamer by the name of JapImport has been permanently banned from the platform just two days after applying for partner due to his “hateful username.” In February 2022, Twitch unveiled a new update to their community guidelines that added rules for “inappropriate usernames.” The new rules affected several popular streamers, including League of Legends streamer Dantes, previously known as Doaenel at the time of the guidelines change. Twitch streamer JapImport applied for partner on October 10, only to be permanently banned two days later due to his username. Twitch streamer JapImport banned due to username Shortly after the ban took place, the streamer took to Twitter/X to call for help. “Not Pog… Can someone help me out? I’ve had the username for like 6 years and never had a warning,” he said. In the screenshot he shared on the post, it shows that Twitch suspended his channel due to having a “Hateful Username or Display Name.” JapImport appealed the ban, and was told that due to the severity of the enforcement issued against the account, they are unable to accommodate a username change. He hit out at the platform, calling the whole incident “insane.” “Welp, idk what to do. I’ve heard horror stories about Twitch before but this just seems so insane no one cared until I hit partner, then I get insta banned with no warning/ chance to name change,” he said. “[Im] in purgatory and really do not feel like restarting from zero, it just seems cruel to make me do that for seemingly no reason. If you’re okay with me making a new account why not let me name change? I would rather just be permad.” In the email sent to JapImport, Twitch states that he is “free to create or use another account on [Twitch] but further violating [Twitch’s] Terms of Service or Community Guidelines may result in an indefinite suspension.” However, according to Twitch’s Community Guidelines for suspension evasion, he can’t do that. “Any attempt to circumvent an account suspension or chat ban by using other accounts, identities, or by appearing on another user’s account will also result in an additional enforcement against your accounts, up to an indefinite suspension,” it reads. We’ve reached out to Twitch for a comment regarding his ban and will update you when they respond. In the meantime, head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

Twitch streamer banned for having sex and replying to chat at same time – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for having sex and replying to chat at same time Twitch/kimmikka_Streamer Kimmikka was caught on a heated live stream in August 2022 after going against Twitch’s rules. This led to her being banned from the platform. But what happened next? Here’s everything we know. It’s not totally uncommon to see streamers get banned on Twitch for sexual content. Throughout the years, we’ve seen streamers inadvertently show content that goes against the Amazon-owned platform’s guidelines and get punished for it. That said, have you ever imagined a streamer would actually dare to have sexual relations on camera? That’s exactly what happened to ‘kimmikka’ and Twitch was quick to slam down the ban hammer. During a broadcast on August 24, 2022, the streamer seemed to be up against her desk and her facial expressions started to change – prompting curiosity in the chat. While she was trying to be sneaky about the whole thing and type in chat at the same time, her reflection was clearly visible in the background. If that wasn’t bad enough, at another point, her partner is even visible right behind her, though no body parts are seen. What happened to Kimmikka after the stream? It wasn’t long before the clip spread to the popular Livestreamfail subreddit where it amassed thousands of views before being taken down after Twitch caught wind of the questionable extracurricular activity. The streamer also reportedly told reporter Jake Lucky that this incident was a “drunken accident” and she ended the broadcast soon thereafter. In a brief follow-up, she also claimed the suspension was just one week in length. According to stat-tracking site Sullygnome, Kimmikka wasn’t exactly the most popular streamer before her ban with only 231 followers. Additionally, her account was fresh having just been created in July of 2022. Kimmikka was unbanned a week later and her channel swiftly grew thereafter, and she now has over 29,400 followers on Twitch and is still an active streamer. One month after the incident, another clip from the original broadcast went viral on September 20, 2022. Posts on Twitter claimed the streamer had repeated her actions and once again engaged in prohibited activities while streaming live. However, the newly surfaced clip was actually from the same stream that led to her initial ban, not from a new stream.

Twitch streamer banned for claiming he wants to punch a girl in the face – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for claiming he wants to punch a girl in the face YouTube: ExoHydraX / TwitchTwitch have handed out a ban to a streamer who publicly said he wanted to punch a female streamer in the face while he was broadcasting live. The streamer, Viikzys, was scrolling through the Just Chatting section on Twitch and came across a female streamer named Kaylee, who was complaining about somebody “trying to talk shit to all egirls.” Apparently this was enough to trigger Viikzys, who turned to his viewers and said “God dude I fucking hate this thot dude. She’s the type of person in fucking high school that I just want to punch in the fucking face, like honestly. I just want to fucking punch her in the goddamn face.” This was brought to the attention of the masses by esports and gaming insider Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau, who put this clip out on Twitter for everyone to see. “This Twitch streamer Viikzys going around harassing women on the platform, saying he wants to punch them in the face,” Slasher tweeted. “Who hurt you dudes? This caught the attention of Twitch, who proceeded to suspend Viikzys, after which he took to Twitter and began posting explanations and apologies about the situation. “People always talk about titty streamers and all this shit and I agreed and I wanted to do something,” he tweeted. “I was approaching it the wrong way so I am at fault for that and I’m taking responsibility for some of the things I said, and I said things I shouldn’t have, so I apologize. However, according to the comments section of his tweets, not many people were willing to buy his apology, some feeling that he was only saying this things in order to get back into the good graces of Twitch and his viewers. people always talk about titty streamers and all this shit and i agreed and i wanted to do something and it was approaching it at the wrong way so i am at fault for that and i’m taking responsiblity for some of the thing i said and i said things i shouldn’t have so i apologize — Viikzy :globe_with_meridians: (@Viikzys) January 21, 2019 i would never hurt a woman or anyone for the way they look or gender. the point i was trying to get across i stand by but the way i approached it was not okay and i apolgize. — Viikzy :globe_with_meridians: (@Viikzys) January 21, 2019 It’s not clear how long Twitch have suspended Viikzys, but it is a good sign that the platform is taking strong initiative against those who spread around aggressive and hateful comments at other users.

Twitch streamer banned for a week for looking at a BTTV emote – Dexerto
Twitch streamer banned for a week for looking at a BTTV emote Twitch/BTTVA streamer has hit out at Twitch for banning him for a week after he looked at an emote on the front page of BetterTTV. BetterTTV, sometimes referred to as BTTV, is a browser extension that enhances the Twitch experience by providing an assortment of new emotes and features. Some of the most famous Twitch lingo, such as MonkaS, KEKW and Pepega are all BTTV emotes and have become staples of Twitch chat culture. However, not all of these emotes are necessarily approved by Twitch itself. On May 11, Twitch streamer alternateAU was banned for 7 days, for “looking at this emote which was on the front page of BTTV.” https://twitter.com/alternate_AU/status/1392047803694600193 The emote in question was said to be “sexually explicit” by the Amazon-owned platform. “So I have been banned for 7 days for looking at this emote which was on the front page of BTTV yet [hot tub streams are] allowed in the Just Chatting section?” he rhetorically asked. “Double standards from Twitch? See you homies in a week.” He went on to add in a reply that this was the first time in three years he had been banned, so to receive a seven day suspension with such a clean record was “pretty wild.” I’ve streamed for 3 years, clean record no bans so pretty wild to get 7 days. Going to be chilling in discord for the week, watching movies, join if you want to hang:https://t.co/OAwCLVX8YC — alternateAU (@alternate_AU) May 11, 2021 The content of the emote undoubtedly violates Twitch’s community guidelines, but AlternateAU and his followers criticized Twitch over perceived double standards. “Twitch is an actual joke at this point, hate to bring up hot tub meta but literally this gets banned and that’s fine, double standards all the way,” one response said. https://twitter.com/AS43twt/status/1392057165188321281 “I’m willing to assume they’re going for the full ‘Women Empowerment’ route but have no idea how to run it properly without thinking of the consequences it brings to other female streamers,” another responded. With this ban, it’s probably a good idea for other streamers to beware of certain BTTV content in the future at the risk of potentially getting banned themselves. Dexerto has reached out to BTTV for comment.
