TikToker goes viral after revealing she orders DoorDash from restaurant across the street TikTok: diamondpretzel2.0 / Pexels: Norma MortensonA woman on TikTok is going viral after revealing that she orders DoorDash from an Olive Garden right across the street from her house — and commenters can’t help but relate. TikTok is a hive for all sorts of viral content. The platform has sparked a slew of popular trends over the years, including dances, memes, and even must-try pasta recipes. However, it also prompts some interesting platform-wide debates from time to time — and one TikToker’s video about her frequent DoorDash orders is inspiring quite the conversation. The TikToker, going by the name Dani, claimed she had just seen a video where someone said that they only splurge on getting delivery food “twice a year.” “Let me show you how lazy I am,” Dani said, before panning the camera over to show the view outside her window. Across the street, viewers can make out the tell-tale sign of an Olive Garden looking out on a crowded parking lot. “That’s Olive Garden,” she continued. “I’ve gotten delivery from there.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. Dani’s video has already racked up over half a million views since being posted two days ago on March 1, and commenters are both sympathizing with her frequent delivery-ordering habits and sharing more critical takes on her video. “If I only DoorDash twice a week I congratulate myself for being frugal,” one commenter joked. “I could buy a car with how much I spent on DoorDash last year,” another said. However, others weren’t so enthusiastic about food delivery apps’ fees: “Maybe I’m cheap, but I refuse to pay for delivery fees,” one user commented. “I’d rather spend more on the actual food.” Most surprisingly, a DoorDash driver chimed in on the conversation, saying that these quick orders are actually some of their favorites since the destination is so close to the restaurant. “Thank you for your service, because as a DoorDash / UberEats driver, these are my favorite orders to take,” they wrote. “The faster we make our money, the better!” Whatever one’s personal opinion on the subject, it’s clear that some folks really love their delivery — but not as much as one TikToker’s celebrity chef dad loves turning fast food into gourmet meals that you, unfortunately, can’t order online.

Got robbed and their car was stolen. Glad you guys left before anything happened!” another TikToker stated. “Every day I learn a new reason that I should be terrified every time I leave my house,” another commenter said. Bryant’s horrific experience comes just weeks after another TikToker revealed that her ex-boyfriend stole over $13,000 in cash.

TikToker goes viral after revealing he accidentally swallowed his pet fish TIKTOK: adrian_peruA TikToker has gone viral after telling a bizarre story of how he accidentally swallowed his pet fish while eating late at night. Content creator Adrian Peru took to TikTok to reveal that he had swallowed his fish while eating Oreos late at night. He believes he ingested it because he saw orange flakes when he used the bathroom later. In his video, which has gone mega-viral with 35 million views, Adrian explained that he went to a fair and got a fish that he put in a glass jug. But after waking up the next day, he could not find the fish. He initially thought his new pet, Nemo, could have jumped into the glass placed right beside the jug, but it wasn’t there. The TikToker then noticed an opened pack of half-eaten Oreos that he woke up and “smashed” at 4:00am. Adrian thought that he could not have eaten a whole line of biscuits without water. He then filmed the jug and the glass again. “Bro I am almost 100% sure I swallowed that fish. I have a fish in my stomach right now,” he said in the video. The content creator was sure he drank that water because the glass had the same smell as the jug that Nemo was in. TikToker swallowed pet fish Nemo In a follow-up clip, Adrian shared a “sad update.” He said that he could officially confirm that he drank the water, because he saw some “orange flakes” after using the toilet. “He was a fighter,” the TikToker said while remembering his pet fish, before adding that he is “retiring” the glass he drank from in Nemo’s memory. Many commenters were baffled over the incident. “The way my mouth dropped,” one user commented. “Omg I would’ve panicked WHAT IF HE SWIMS BACK UP OR DOWN OUT,” another said. “Naw bro how high were you to drink a damn fish,” a third wrote. “Bro this is one of those things that you just can’t believe happened in real life,” another added. • TikToker goes viral after putting Airbnb host on blast for “crazy” charge – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after putting Airbnb host on blast for “crazy” charge TikTok: SoFloridaGirlA TikToker has gone viral after hitting out at Airbnb host’s “crazy” cleaning fee charges, and plenty of other users totally agree with her as they couldn’t believe her situation. Sharing horror stories about vacations, hotels, and Airbnb has become a pretty popular genre on TikTok over the last few years – and it comes from both sides too. Guests have gone viral for finding ‘peepholes and hidden rooms’ in their Airbnb, while hosts have put unruly guests on blast for flooding their homes by not using appliances in the correct manner and “ruining” their homes. Now, TikToker Jaime Colby Hidalgo (sofloridagirl) has gone viral after putting one renter from the app on blast for charging a “crazy” cleaning fee and making her do all the “chores” anyway. And, plenty of users are agreeing with her point of view. TikTokers annoyed at “crazy” chores & fees from Airbnb In the short clip, Hidalgo revealed that she was hit a $250 cleaning fee on a recent rental and had to do “huge list of chores” before her 10 am checkout – which she also had issues with. That involved her cleaning the bed, putting towels in the shower, filling up the dishwasher, and beyond. “A $250 cleaning fee is a lot of money. I have no problem paying it but I should not have to be a maid before I leave on top of that,” the TikToker captioned her clip, which has now racked up over 1.3 million views in under a week. The TikToker noted that she left things “spotless” upon leaving, but the cleaning fee combined with the checkout time was “crazy” for her. “We stopped using Airbnb for this reason!” said one viewer, with Jaime adding she was “getting to the point” of that herself. Plenty of others agreed too, putting the renting app on blast for becoming too expensive – never mind just with these fees. “If they charge me a cleaning fee then I give them something to clean,” said one viewer. “As a cleaner – makes me smile when people take the sheets off. You shouldn’t have to though,” added another commenter. Some users stated that the rules on doing “chores” could no longer be enforced in many situations. “Oh wow, I guess this owner didn’t get the memo,” Jaime replied. Cleaning fees vary depending on hosts and they’re not set by Airbnb themselves, so who knows if they’ll ever crack down on them.

  • TikToker goes viral after randomly receiving dozens of free DoorDash orders – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after randomly receiving dozens of free DoorDash orders TikTok: HighDesertFamilyTreasuresOne lucky TikToker has gone viral for recording the dozens of free DoorDash orders he received over a four-day period from someone named ‘Alejandro.’ Meal delivery services like DoorDash and GrubHub have become a staple for many folks over the past few years. Although it’s certainly convenient to have a hot meal delivered straight to your door, these apps quickly rack up costs in delivery fees and other miscellaneous charges (sometimes nearly doubling the initial price of the order). As such, TikToker ‘HighDesertFamilyTreasures’ was left shell-shocked after he kept receiving someone’s opulent DoorDash orders… for four entire days. This saga began on June 6, when he uploaded his first-ever video to TikTok, explaining that he and his family — his girlfriend and their two babies — received free DoorDash deliveries “every two hours” from someone named Alejandro. Read More: How many TikTok users are there? – At first, the TikToker received a random free breakfast of steak and eggs… but when he returned from the gym that same day, he found yet another order on his doorstep. “Is somebody f**kin’ trolling me right now?” he asked incredulously — and it wouldn’t be the last time he’d pose the question. Click here if TikTok fails to load. After that, he and his family continued to receive free food for four entire days. The orders consisted of everything from baked mussels to a box of donuts, a Red Robin burger, loaded potatoes, chicken alfredo, and more. “I literally can’t keep eating all of this food,” he admitted. “I’m throwing half of it away. There’s so much food!” After four days of these mysterious deliveries, the DoorDash orders finally stopped without an explanation. Click here if TikTok fails to load. In comments on his TikToks, ‘HighDesertFamilyTreasures’ claims he called up the Donut Shop from his first video to try and ascertain the orderer’s full name — but due to security reasons, this couldn’t be allowed. He also hit back at some users who thought the entire thing was a publicity stunt: “I am very poor,” he said in the comments. “It’s me, the girlfriend, and two babies in a studio apartment.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. For now, it looks like we’ll never know the outcome of this random food fiasco… but it’s earned the lucky TikToker millions of views and an incredible story.

  • TikToker goes viral after presumably uncovering Kylie Jenner’s secret baby name – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after presumably uncovering Kylie Jenner’s secret baby name YouTube: Kylie Jenner TikTok: juulsxoxoAfter scouring the internet and looking through trademarks, a TikToker believes they discovered Kylie Jenner’s baby’s name by analyzing trends in the data. Kylie Jenner had a baby on February 2, 2022, but kept the baby’s name a secret from the public. Though she originally named the newborn Wolf Webster, Kylie Jenner later announced they are changing the baby’s name, but have yet to reveal it to the public. After digging through the internet, TikToker juulsxoxo believes she discovered the secret. Kylie Jenner’s secret baby name The video began with the Tiktoker asking “did I just crack the code for Kylie Jenner’s baby name?” She then got into her research, and explained her investigation process which resulted in her potentially finding Kylie Jenner’s secret baby name. “So I was online looking up trademarks, and I found Kylie’s,” juulsxoxo mentioned. She then read out the details of the trademark, verifying the legitimacy of the public documents. This then lead her into showing off a chain of trademarks, one of which was under the name “Stormi.” For those who don’t know, Stormi is the name of Kylie Jenner’s first child. And it appears Kylie Jenner trademarked the name soon after Stormi’s birth – a pattern to be mindful of. The TikToker then got into the big reveal. “And then I found this one.” Shown in the video is the trademark for the name “Kristan.” She explained the details of the trademark, “owner, Jenner Communications, but attorney of record Jennifer Ko Craft. And yes, this is Kylie’s middle name, but this was filed 13 days after the baby was born.” The TikToker then showed yet another trademark for Kristan Wolf Enterprises, showing more correlation with the name “Kristan.” According to the TikTok, Kristan may be Kylie Jenner’s newborn baby’s name. This is not an official name reveal, but an educated guess based on the evidence currently available to the public. Kylie Jenner trends on TikTok quite frequently. In September, she went viral on the platform after lactating on her shirt.

  • TikToker goes viral after losing her teeth in drunken accident – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after losing her teeth in drunken accident TikTok, @Autumncathey6 / Pexels, @AndreaSome TikToks tell elaborate stories in just a matter of seconds and that’s the case for Autumncathey6, whose brunch drinking video went from trend to terror as mimosas led to her losing multiple teeth. In a common TikTok trend, you record yourself and your friends after different amounts of drinks. It always starts off innocently enough, with a reality TV-esque one-on-one with the camera and the filmed person saying “this is me after one mimosa (or any other beverage of choice).” Usually, things ramp up and you get to see different friends withstand different levels of inebriations. Six White Claws or beers later, there’s a degree of mayhem and sloppiness. But Autumncathey6 took things to a new, higher level, with her version of the trend. Casually drinking mimosas with an assortment of pals at a presumed brunch spot, the TikToker doesn’t seem all that twisted — until she decides to take things outdoors. While Autumncathey has since privated the video, the massively viral clip has still been shared across YouTube and Twitter. It’s unclear if she decided to private it herself or if TikTok took it down for its essentially gory nature. Still, for now, the video exists and, from Autumncathey’s original caption, “bottomless mimosas are a drug // wait till the end,” it seems that she looked back on the moment with comedic appreciation. And that makes sense, since most people in the replies seemed to think it was a pretty funny tale about moderation. As you can see in the TikTok, the situation started off in a bubbly way. Orange juice, champagne and sunlight make for a tremendous brunch environment. But, like Adam and Eve falling for the sweet, juicy delights of the apple, Autumncathey was misled by the tangy goodness of the orange. After she and some friends all hit seven-plus mimosas, the end of the video stops the “this is me” segments and shifts to a clip of Autumncathey getting on someone’s shoulders outside. A moment later, the cheery clip segues into one of horror — her, sitting in a car, missing multiple front teeth. It remains to be seen how the situation has resolved, but one has to imagine that she quickly went to get dental work done. For now, it remains a reminder to be careful when drinking. We’ll update this piece if any new information comes out.

TikToker goes viral after McDonald’s completely messes up her order Pixabay/TikTok/Shan.hiltonA TikToker’s Uber Eats order from McDonald’s is going viral for all the wrong reasons after the restaurant made a preposterous mistake with her order. Guaranteed you’ve never seen McDonald’s get an order this wrong. If you’re accustomed to ordering fast food, chances are you’ve experienced a mistake on your order at least once. While these are typically small errors, such as an unwanted topping being present on a burger, sometimes there’s a mistake that just makes you wonder how it was possible. For TikToker, Shan Hilton, her decision to order three McChickens on Uber Eats ended up resulting in one of the most insane mistakes you’ll ever see. (click here if TikTok fails to load) TikToker stunned after receiving three boxes of lettuce In a clip that has since gone viral, Hilton explained on TikTok that she ordered three McChickens, but was baffled to see that she had three boxes of McNuggets instead. “Maybe I was high and I messed up the order, right?” the TikToker theorized at first. “So now that I’m settling with eating the McNuggets, I open up the box and look…” Instead of having nuggets or McChickens inside, each box just contained shredded lettuce – now what she had ordered at all! The video soon went viral and has amassed over 500,000 views in four days. (click here if TikTok fails to load) In a follow-up video, Hilton posted her Uber Eats receipt showing that she did in fact purchase three McChickens. Amazing, however, was the fact that she apparently sent Uber a complaint before she even opened the boxes. It’s unclear if the TikToker was able to get a refund on her order or if she decided to eat the lettuce anyway.

  • TikToker goes viral after husband tells her to “tuck in” stomach for photo – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after husband tells her to “tuck in” stomach for photo TikTok: sairaayan__A TikToker has sparked a debate on the viral video website after sharing a clip of her husband reminding her to “tuck in” her tummy for a photo. TikTok is known for starting the occasional debate about such topics as tipping culture, first date etiquette, and more. However, the latest conversation to take over the app is about whether or not you’d accept your partner telling you to ‘tuck in’ your tummy before taking a picture. TikToker Saira uploaded a short clip showing herself and her husband posing on a beach with a cityscape behind them at sunset, clearly about to snap a photo for the Gram. Right before the pic snapped, though, Saira’s partner reaches out his hand to pat her stomach, seemingly reminding her to suck in her abdomen before the camera flashed. Saira seemed visibly affected by the gesture and captioned her video: “I appreciate it, but at the same time, do I get mad at him for doing that?” Commenters outraged after TikToker’s husband tells wife to “tuck in” her stomach Her question prompted a slew of differing responses from commenters — some of whom say that would be the “last straw” in their relationship. “I would not accept this,” one user wrote. “No… Even if I asked him, his response should be, ‘WHY? YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL!’ Why would you let anyone encourage anything like that?” another said. “Me, personally, I wouldn’t let that slide,” another commented. Others say that they would have appreciated the reminder, saying they would have hated the photos if they weren’t “sucking in.” “My friend does this to me because she knows I’ll look back at the pictures and not like them,” one person replied. It looks like Saira is in agreement. “Yes that’s why,” she said to the above comment. “We’ve been married two years and he’s my best friend, he knows I’ll hate the picture afterward if I looked hella bloated and I told him.” This is just the latest debate to take over TikTok after a delivery driver refused to enter a hospital to drop off a $4 Papa John’s order.

TikToker goes viral after homeless man fat-shames him for buying McDonald’s TikTok/janikon_/PixabayToronto-based TikToker Stuart Jeffery has gone viral after posting his hilarious reaction to being fat-shamed by a homeless man he bought McDonald’s for. It’s always nice when individuals do something nice for the homeless, whether it’s given them some spare change or a warm blanket. However, in an era of digital currency, having any change to begin with is a bit of a rarity. In a TikTok video, Jeffrey explained how just got back from McDonald’s where he went to buy a coffee and had quite the experience with a homeless man outside of the restaurant. The giggling TikToker said the homeless man asked for change, but when he didn’t have any, he decided to buy him some food instead. Between fits of laughter over what eventually transpired, Jeffrey explained he took the man’s order of a Big Mac with everything on it and a coffee with two creams, but was taken aback when he gave the homeless man the food. “He goes, ‘you know, in the future, a word of advice, I’d lay off the McDonald’s,’” Jeffrey revealed, before bursting into tears from laughing too hard. “The worst part is I was fat-shamed for doing a good deed!” The video, appropriately captioned ‘No, I can’t re-record this, I’m laughing too hard,’ spread like wildfire, amassing over 2.8M views in just five days. Despite seemingly being insulted, Jeffrey was clearly still in good spirits about the whole ordeal and didn’t take offense to the man’s comments. Users in the comments shared similar stories with one woman even saying that when she was pregnant, she gave a homeless man food, and he told her: “You walk like a horse.” In any case, it’s nice to see that Jeffrey didn’t take things too personally, but it’s unclear if he will be buying food for the man in the future after his comments.

As TikTok has expanded beyond just being a platform for creatives and artists to show off their skills and work, it covers pretty much every corner of the internet now. Naturally, that includes tricks, tips, and lifehacks that can help people in different situations – with some of the best being about getting takeaways for cheaper, getting multiple popsicles from just one, and making food prep a little easier. Though, in the case of AidanCramer, he had a different sort of lifehack for his girlfriend’s goldfish as it was struggling to swim. So, he constructed a custom lifejacket. TikToker’s lifejacket for goldfish goes viral as users love it That’s right, Aidan has gone viral on TikTok, with his video getting well over 6 million views since being uploaded on March 12. In the short clip, the TikToker showed how Sally, the 23-year-old goldfish, was having a tough time swimming, so he combined a piece of string and a cork to make a lifejacket. As a result, the goldfish went back to paddling around as normal. The clip captured the attention, with viewers loving how things played out. “I love that you did this for her,” said one. “It’s a floatie for a fishy!” added another. Some suggested that the TikToker could have fed it a pea to help out, but he responded to that in a follow-up video by saying they’d already tried that and it hadn’t worked – even though it does usually. So, he had to get a little more creative. The Goldfish is back on its feet – or should that be fins? – and back in its normal tank after a spell in a holding tank to get looked after.

TikToker goes viral after DoorDasher crashes into house while delivering food via BruceAB / DoorDashA TikTok video is going viral on the platform after someone saw her DoorDash delivery crash just around the corner from its drop off on a nearby house’s property. The TikToker immediately reached out to DoorDash to check on the driver and customer support was apparently told it “was not that serious.” That left the customer very confused seeing as she saw the “entire car on top of a chain link fence.” After the incident occurred, they posted the story onto their account where TikTok audiences were in disbelief at the unfortunate end to her order – since it didn’t look like she got her food, though it was right around the corner The video has exploded since she posted it online, with clips filled with police cruisers and fire trucks as response units helped out on the scene. Comments flooded the post with people sharing their concern for the driver while they were stunned at the incident that occurred. The TikToker, who goes by ‘karlienonu,’ explained how she reacted in the moment by taking steps to ensure the driver was okay, “Doordash was able to call the customer and canceled the order so she could focus on the accident,” she said. “I honestly wanted them to make sure the driver was okay since the police wouldn’t let me check!” It sounds as if this situation was able to resolve itself, but TikTokers have found themselves in strange situations with their Dashers in the past. In one instance, a cop had to complete the delivery himself because the DoorDash drive got arrested on the way to their house. There was also a time when another driver tried to claim a DoorDash customer’s food by rolling up to their location, taking a picture of the ‘delivered items,’ then taking off with the order they were supposed to be dropping off.

  • TikToker goes viral after faking Coldplay lawsuit – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after faking Coldplay lawsuit TikTok: @itsmattycoTikTok user ‘itsmattyco’ has gone viral for faking legal documents to look like British rock group Coldplay was suing him over a copyright violation. In a video uploaded to TikTok by musician Matty Co, the creator can be seen holding a fake leal letter alleging that his song was in violation of copyright. The notice claimed it sounded similar to the song “Clocks” by Coldplay. In the video, Matty proceeds to play both tracks so that viewers could hear the difference between them, with most quickly realizing the songs sound nothing alike. The fake legal documents On March 15, 2022, Matty showed his audience that he had been sent a cease and desist from a “Capitol Music Group L.L.C.” The only problem being there is no such company registered in the state of California. The company Matt is trying to refer to is “Capitol Music Group,” which has never represented Coldplay, with Warner Music Group being the company that released their song “Clocks.” In addition to the band not being represented by “Capitol Music Group L.L.C.,” the “attorney” who “wrote” the letter told The Daily Dot that she did not send a cease and desist letter to the musician. “Help me out everyone,” the creator says in his caption. “I don’t have the funds to fight this lawsuit in court and anyone can tell it’s totally a different song.” The video, which now has over 280,000 views, immediately caught the attention of many big players in the music industry. “This is a badly photoshopped alteration of a C&D letter from Jack Daniels. It confuses TM and ©, uses wrong fonts, and that’s JD’s address at bottom,” one user commented. “The author of the letter doesn’t understand the difference between a trademark and a copyright. Seems fishy to me,” an Attorney commented. It’s unclear whether this was just a play on Matty’s part for views, or if he legitimately thought he could deceive the people of TikTok.

In the clip, Vertell calmly asked the doorman why a slice of her pizza was missing. Eventually, she found out he was the one who ate the slice from her Uber Eats order. “Why did you eat my food?” she asked him. The man, who was off-camera, said something about not knowing it was her food and that it was past a “certain time.” “I’m pretty sure this could probably get you fired. I’m not even gonna lie,” she told him. “I’m not going to say anything but like, that’s f**ked up because I’m deadass hungry.” The TikToker also explained that she had gone to the gym and came down afterward to pick up her food. Honestly, because you might have been hungrier than I was for you to eat somebody else’s food,” she said. “That’s crazy for me. You didn’t have to sit here and lie to me.” She then tells him that he can have the other slice as well, before walking away in disbelief. “Oh my f**king God bro,” she said, ending the video. “Like the f**k?!” Viewers praise TikToker’s handling of situation Many TikTok users praised Vertell for how she handled the situation. “The way you handled this girl, God is really gonna bless you,” one user commented. “You better than me cause I would’ve been down to that leasing office immediately as soon as it open,” another said. “I pray that I become this patient. You’re so kind,” a third added. In an updated video, Vertell revealed that the doorman reported himself, to not get into as much trouble if she had reported him, which the TikToker had no intention of doing. She explained that she handled the situation calmly, because she has too much to lose as a business owner.

  • TikToker goes viral after complaining about getting free pizzas – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after complaining about getting free pizzas brooke_wadee | TikTokA woman received substantially more pizza than she bargained for when ordering from a pizza place, to the point where she wasn’t sure what to do with all of it and seemed frustrated. Commenters, meanwhile, were wondering why she was complaining about getting so much free food. Mistakes happen with food delivery. Even the best restaurants mess up at times, not to mention the situation where a driver gets orders mixed up and gives you the wrong food. Not to mention the rare instances where a driver purposely runs with the order. There are a lot of ways in which someone can be missing food they ordered, or even getting the wrong order entirely. As such, it’s only natural for restaurants to have systems in place to keep customers happy if something does get messed up. Usually, those systems involve giving out some free food. However, one TikToker got so much pizza out of one order getting mixed up that she wasn’t even sure what to do with all of it, to the point where she complained about it. People across social media were dumbfounded by her response. TikToker sparks controversy by complaining about free pizza TikToker Brooke Wade had her only video explode after showing off just how much free pizza she got as a result of receiving the wrong order, then the right order, then the right order again, and a gift card for more free pizza on top of that. She had so much pizza that her entire counter was covered with pizza boxes. Aside from many thinking her dog is the star of the show (and joking that he’s the perpetrator behind her receiving the “wrong” order), her response has some people divided. “You gave me my new order, and my old order, and someone else’s order when it’s just me and the dog. I don’t know what to do with all this food.” she claimed. Some of those on TikTok claimed she should just freeze anything she has leftover, a plan she agreed with in the comments. Meanwhile, others felt she should just take what comes her way and didn’t see what the problem was. “In this economy, what do you mean you don’t know what to do with all that food?! Enjoy it,” one person commented. Others were wondering why they couldn’t be the ones to be graces with free pizza, to the point where this conversation spread to other social media. “There are people that would win the lottery and immediately complain about the taxes. This person is right up there,” they joked, followed by holding a poll for what they would’ve done with the pizza. Ultimately, it seems people agree that Brooke’s dog is the real winner here regardless of their opinion on her enthusiasm (or lack therof) about getting free pizzas. At least he’ll be eating good.

  • TikToker goes viral after claiming McDonald’s refused to let them quit – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after claiming McDonald’s refused to let them quit UnsplashA TikToker has gone viral after they claimed their employer at McDonald’s refused to let them quit after they gave their 14-day notice. Working at fast food joints is arguably one of the toughest jobs out there. Not only is the work incredibly fast-paced and stressful, requiring you to constantly be on your feet, but you also need to interact with customers, prepare orders, and work together as a team to ensure things flow smoothly. What might make the job even tougher to endure, however, is the inability to quit when you finally want out. That’s exactly what happened to one TikToker, who has since gone viral after showcasing them seemingly being denied their retirement. TikToker jennaakiley shared their experience in a video, showcasing the horrors of working at their McDonald’s. Their caption, “never-ending catastrophe at McDonald’s” was no joke either, with an awful mess in the kitchen at their workplace. With all the chaos and stress thrown about, the TikToker clearly had enough, stating “This is why I’m quitting.” However, another employee disagreed with them, simply stating “You can’t quit.” Jennaa responded by saying “I’m putting in my two weeks in again, I give up, I give up, I need a ride ASAP.” The TikTok has since amassed over 1 million views, with over 52 thousand likes for just an 8-second clip. Obviously, it’s worth taking their comments with a grain of salt for now. Whether the TikToker formally handed in their two-week notice remains to be seen. They did, however, later post another clip from McDonald’s, indicating they’re indeed still working there. At least for the time being.

  • TikToker goes viral claiming they’re actually a fake AI character that fooled everyone – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral claiming they’re actually a fake AI character that fooled everyone TikTok: Curt SkeltonIn one of the most trippy and confusing TikTok viral moments yet, a popular account, Curt Skelton, with over 200,000 followers, has claimed they are in fact an AI character that tricked everyone. Is Curt Skeleton really fake though? Despite having lots and lots of videos on their account, mostly focused on impressive visual effects and graphics, the latest video from Curt Skelton claims that he is actually AI, and that it was all an elaborate ruse. The video features a girl called Zahra, who explains that she made Curt by using the DALL-E AI technology and combing Conan O’Brien and Matt Smith’s faces. She then used deep fake and an animation studio to bring the character to life – or at least so they claim. Is Curt Skelton on TikTok fake? No – Curt Skelton is in fact real, despite the viral video’s claim to the contrary. Although it is possible to create entirely AI-based influencers, Curt is not one of them. In the comments on the video, people thought that the girl and Curt were in fact dating, but the TikToker himself clarified it’s another woman named Zahra. “Way too many people think Zahra looks like my girlfriend Kylie. They don’t look anything like each other,” he commented. Curt also implied that he is just ‘gaslighting’ viewers, when fellow TikToker Sebastian Durfee said “I love this” Curt replied, “you’re my gaslighting hero.” Fans fooled by AI Curt Skelton video However, while it’s only a prank, it certainly fooled a lot of people. In addition to the comments on TikTok, the video also went viral on Twitter, where of course there are no comments from Curt to explain away the joke. There are a number of tell-tale signs in the video, such as the movement of Curt’s hair, or the mismatching arm position in the motion capture footage. But, with the popularity of deep fakes such as the fake Tom Cruise on TikTok, people can’t really be blamed for thinking this was also a real deep fake.

TikToker goes viral after accidentally making napalm instead of slime TikTok: theresa360What was meant to be a fun TikTok showing fans how to make a slime material, TikToker theresa360 had to remove their post – after they accidentally made a napalm-like substance instead. With over 2 million followers, Theresa360 makes lots of arts and crafts content on her TikTok account, as well as various ‘life hacks.’ One such arts and crafts video did not go as intended though, as viewers quickly pointed out that rather than making ‘slime’, as she intended, Theresa had instead made an incredibly flammable material. Napalm is an incendiary mixture, previously used in military settings, and although not technically illegal, is seldom deployed today due to how deadly it is, capable of causing massive areas of burning and destruction. TikToker accidentally makes napalm However, despite how dangerous it is, napalm is also surprisingly easy to make – so much so that this TikToker made it by complete accident. In November, TikTok announced changes to moderation to prevent dangerous trends, as well as specifically ‘hoax’ videos. We’d imagine that showing people how to make napalm, even if accidentally, might fall under these guidelines.

  • TikToker goes viral after accusing Converse of stealing her National Parks design – Dexerto

TikToker goes viral after accusing Converse of stealing her National Parks design Converse/ TikTok: Ceci.mongeA TikToker has gone viral after she accused sneaker brand Converse of stealing a design she once submitted to them and was never credited for, detailing all the evidence in a short video. Cecilia Monge, a 22-year-old from Miami, applied for a design internship at Converse in 2019, and for the application, she sent in her own design for Converse shoes which were based on different US national parks and their color schemes. However, over a year later, Converse has released a design that is eerily similar to that of Cecilia’s original submission called “Chuck 70s National Parks,”, and she aired her frustrations in a TikTok where she detailed the exact similarities between the two, and her experiences. Monge explained that she had never heard back from the company, but was shaken when she saw another viral video admiring the new release. She showed her original submission and the current shoe designs side-by-side, demonstrating the similarities. “The color palette is exactly the same as the one I sent them, down to the order of the colors and the actual hues of the colors,” she said. “I don’t think it’s a coincidence.” The TikTok has more than 15 million views at the time of writing, and has certainly enraged a lot of people, with one person writing “@converse why are you stealing from young professionals and also not even hiring them?” and another person adding “So tired of big brands taking advantage of designers” The incident appears to have sparked a conversation about the industry, with Cecilia posting another TikTok mentioning that she had been contacted by other professional designers who said it was a common occurrence, and she has started the tag #designersspeakup to promote more discussion on the topic. Cecilia confirmed she had been emailed but had not received any compensation, apology, or credit from Converse. Meanwhile, Converse has responded to the accusations in a statement to Buzzfeed, denying that they stole the design: “The Chuck 70 product design, as well as the Great Outdoors and National Parks concept, was conceived before we received an application from the candidate.”

TikToker gives herself tattoo of Johnny Depp’s lawyer and the internet is split TikTok: tattooedingenueA TikToker has gone viral after giving themselves a tattoo of Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, leaving viewers both stunned and split on the issue. If you’ve breathed air recently, you may have heard that actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are deep into a grueling and seemingly never-ending defamation trial. While two stars battling it out in court does qualify as juicy gossip, this trial has completely taken over the news cycle across the globe in quite a unique fashion as both fans and media members have begun staunchly taking sides. Star streamer Asmongold, popularized for his World of Warcraft broadcasts, has gotten criticism for remolding his entire YouTube channel to purely uploading pro-Depp coverage of the trial as it airs. Now, one TikTok user has taken her Johnny Depp fandom to another next level and tattooed his trial lawyer on her leg. Johnny Depp fan tattoos trial lawyer on herself A TikToker by the name of Jazzmyn ‘tattooedingenue’ Wollfe uploaded a video to the social media app on May 26 where gave herself a tattoo of Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez. In the video, Wollfe shows the picture she used as a reference and gave herself a black silhouette tattoo on her leg with the words “Objection” just below the portrait. Vasquez has gained slight internet celebrity based on her performance in the case and is now being idolized by mega fans of the former Pirates of the Caribbean actor. The tattoo completely split her viewers in the comment section as Depp fans loved it and onlookers were shocked anyone would embrace a man accused of both physical and psychological abuse on his former partner. One user who was shocked by the tattoo said: “This trial is really showing people’s true colors, yikes.” Despite that, Depp fans embraced the tattoo as a celebration of his potential victory in the case. One user commented: “This is dope girl. Amazing.” Since being posted on TikTok the video has gained over 995k million views, one of her most viral videos to date. Wollfe commented on her own video explaining why she gave herself the tattoo: “It holds meaning for me and even if it didn’t, it’s my body and it has zero effect on you lol.”

  • TikToker Giulia Amato hits back at Addison Rae copycat accusations – Dexerto

TikToker Giulia Amato hits back at Addison Rae copycat accusations Instagram: Giulia Amato/Addison RaeTikToker Guilia Amato has responded to fan backlash after she posted a TikTok of herself dyeing her hair brown – and many people are accusing her of trying to copy influencer Addison Rae with her new ‘do. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] With 1.3 million followers on the app, Giulia Amato is pretty famous in her own right as a top-tier influencer. However, she has frequently been compared to TikTok superstar Addison Rae, with fans often pointing out the striking similarities between the two women. While the comparisons have been the norm for Amato for a while, they seemed to take a more dramatic turn after she dyed her hair to a similar brown color that Rae currently rocks, with many fans accusing her of trying to “do like Addison.” Hitting back at the haters, Amato posted a TikTok exposing one of the hateful comments. Showing she isn’t affected by them, she jokes that the commenters “hit [her] with that one,” but that it “doesn’t even hurt” because she’s heard it so many times. In the caption, she also clarifies that the chocolate brown shade she’s rocking is actually her “natural hair color,” which makes the accusations of copying Addison all the more ridiculous. Following her post, Giluia received ample support on both TikTok and Instagram. Over on TikTok, several fans pointed out that Rae “doesn’t own” the color brown, with one fan joking: “Ok, if I dye my hair brown then I’m trying to be like Addison.” Meanwhile, on Instagram, one fan said in a comment that got over 3,000 likes: “[J]ust because someone looks like someone else, doesn’t mean that they’re actively trying to look like that person. Some people just naturally look similar.” Another Instagram comment that got over 4,000 likes expressed similar sentiments, with the user saying: “Can y’all stop comparing people please!” This response video comes after Amato posted a TikTok of herself at the hair salon, where she went back to her natural hair color after rocking a more sun-kissed look over the summer. Unfortunately, Amato was on the receiving end of a lot of hateful comments in this video, with many accusing her of merely dyeing her hair in order to look more like Addison Rae. One user asked Amato if she “really had to copy Adi,” while another accused her of being an “off-brand Addison Rae”. With all these unfounded accusations in the TikTok comments, nobody can blame Amato for wanting to set the record straight. Besides, we have to admit that her hair looks great!

  • TikToker claims she was sued by Airbnb guests who were “triggered” by her disability – Dexerto

TikToker claims she was sued by Airbnb guests who were “triggered” by her disability TIKTOK: thisworldcanbeaccessibleA TikToker has gone viral after claiming she got sued by Airbnb guests who were “triggered” by her disability. Update, October 14: The TikToker has now deleted her social media accounts, and other TikTok users have cast doubt on the veracity of her claims. Airbnb host Jade, who said she is disabled, took to TikTok and YouTube, claiming that she has been sued for £250,000 by guests for allegedly leaving them “traumatised” by her disability. The content creator, who said she is terminally ill with Huntington’s disease, has been documenting her experience on TikTok. She previously claimed that the guests who had booked to stay in her Irish home for €50 a night demanded she remove “all disability aids from my own home and if not that I leave.” Jade also claimed that Airbnb supported the visitors in this regard, instructing her to refund the visitors, because they “didn’t like” her accessible doorbell. Jade’s story quickly made the rounds on both TikTok and Twitter, with users arguing the lawsuit was ableist. A number of viral tweets on the topic sparked debate too. Despite the viral nature of the story, the lawsuit against the host is not been made public, causing some to doubt if it is real. The TikToker (who posts under the username thisworldcanbeaccessible) expressed her frustration about the incident in a series of videos, which have now been deleted, and started a petition to “show a Judge that disabled people aren’t scary.” In an online petition which has more than 18,000 signatures at the time of writing, Jade wrote: “I can only share my side of this situation legally, so I am not asking you to support me personally-simply to support the statement that disabled people should not risk being sued for their disability allegedly ‘traumatising’ another person. “As a disabled person I cannot hide myself away. I cannot change my disability … and I cannot hide myself away in case I ‘trigger’ someone.” In a now-deleted YouTube video, Jade said she is “heartbroken” that some of the Equality Act, which outlaws discrimination against someone based on their disability, is “being potentially eroded”. “This is a cancel culture situation,” she said. “Because when you break this down, what this people want me to accept is that any single person can say, ‘my feelings are I don’t like your disability, so you need to remove yourself’. Where do we draw the line to that?” Since her initial posts, speculation about the incident has continued, with some doubting how real the situation was. Some have claimed that she is posing as another person, claiming to have found images of her ‘real’ self. Both her TikTok and YouTube accounts are now gone, with only a website remaining. In a statement posted to the website, it reads, “My name is Carrie Jade Williams and I am writing this on the advice of my legal team. I am an entirely separate individual to my sister whose mental health past has been dragged into my life as an attempt to discredit my advocacy work.” The statement continues that she is “appalled that internet trolls have attempted to discredit my advocacy by bringing my sisters past and suggesting I am she.” TikTokers are now trying to decipher if there are in fact two sisters, or if it was a ruse. Others have been supportive, alleging that the ‘bullying’ has forced the TikToker to leave social media.

  • TikToker Giulia Amato calls out fans over constant Addison Rae comparisons – Dexerto

TikToker Giulia Amato calls out fans over constant Addison Rae comparisons Instagram: Giulia Amato/Addison RaeTikTok star Giulia Amato has hit out at fans on TikTok for constantly comparing her to Addison Rae and other influencers, claiming that it feels like she has been “given a different identity.” Since launching her channel in April 2019, 17-year-old Giulia Amato has made a name for herself on TikTok. As well as having an impressive 1.8 million followers, her content — which includes dances, lip-syncing and POVs — has helped her amass nearly 55 million likes on the app. However, with many fans noticing Amato’s striking resemblance to TikTok superstar Addison Rae, her comments are often flooded with comparisons, and she’s faced accusations of copying Rae in the past. For example, in October, Amato was accused of “copying” Addison Rae after dying her hair back to its natural brunette color shortly after Rae dyed her own hair brown. View this post on Instagram In this TikTok, it is clear that Amato has had enough of the comparisons. She captioned the clip, “my name is Giulia Amato and I don’t want to be compared to other people everyday.” Clearly referencing the Addison Rae comparisons, Amato continued: “So by now, you guys all know who I’m compared to. I don’t want to say her name because I don’t want it to look like I’m using her name to get clout for this video, but you guys know who I’m talking about.” She elaborated even further: “My videos were, at first, filled with a lot of hate, with a lot of people comparing us, and that I can handle.” “But I feel like it’s become a trend t0 give me different identities.” Noting how she’s recently been compared to a “mix” of Rae and “two or four” other high-profile TikTok stars, Amato asserted in the video that, contrary to accusations in the comments, she has never had cosmetic surgery or other treatments done to her face. Sympathizing with Amato’s frustrations, fans on Instagram showed their support. One user said in a comment that got over 4,000 likes that “they are both gorgeous,” while another user said that fans should stop comparing because “we are all beautiful and have our own blessings, so no need to be jealous of each other.” It appears that Amato has since deleted the TikTok from her account.

  • TikToker gets sudden jump scare after giving Twitch viewers control of a robot arm – Dexerto

TikToker gets sudden jump scare after giving Twitch viewers control of a robot arm Twitch: JakeCreatesStuffUp and coming ‘engineer turned content creator’ Jake Creates decided to see what would happen if they gave viewers on Twitch control of a robot arm wielding a knife. With Twitch chat only growing more powerful in recent years, we’ve seen a wide range of innovative streams give control over to those watching along live. From the original ‘Twitch Plays Pokemon’ days, to the modern era of AI-generated shows stemming from ideas in Twitch chat, even to live improv shows with streamers feeding off commands from viewers, there’s been plenty of creativity in the space. Diving head-first into the streaming world, budding TikToker Jake Creates leveraged their engineering background in a novel way earlier this week: Giving Twitch viewers full control of a robot arm equipped with a pointy blade. Aptly titled the ‘Twitch – Arm,’ Jake spent just over two hours coding functions for a robot arm in their bedroom. While this robot arm could be controlled for all manner of beneficial reasons, they instead opted to attach a knife at the end. The target in focus, a helpless balloon. Viewers watching along live were able to type various commands in chat. Primarily, these controlled the arm’s movement, as fans could draw its motion both vertically and horizontally, even controlling its extension as well. Keeping themselves out of harm’s reach, the streamer was out of frame to the side when viewers finally nailed their moment. The knife connected with the balloon, hilariously giving the streamer a fright in the process. “That scared me more than I could have ever thought it was going to,” they joked moments after shrieking at the sudden pop. Instantly moving to disconnect the robot from its power source now that the target was down and out, Jake assured viewers they ‘couldn’t hurt them’ with the powerful tool they’d created. Though it seems this sharp arm of destruction is only the beginning of what Jake Creates has in mind when it comes to livestreamed-engineering feats. Known for their quirky innovations on TikTok, with everything from a robotic plant to toaster-based gaming controller all going viral on the platform, they have one big idea in mind already for a future Twitch stream. Leveling up the equipment, Jake teased Twitch viewers will “eventually” get control of a Nerf gun.

TikToker gains millions of followers after Mr Beast-style giveaway YouTube: Nice2StrangersA TikTok user is earning millions of viewers by giving money away to his followers who he randomly selects in a pretty unusual way. User Nice2Strangers started to give money away to some of his followers on TikTok at the end of 2020, after admitting that he was inspired by MrBeast’s immense generosity. For each of his followers, the TikToker writes a name on his bedroom wall, and to begin with, it wasn’t such a challenge, given his follower count was low enough not to take up so much space. But since one video went insanely viral, accruing more than 28 million views, this TikToker’s follower count massively increased from zero to 1 million in just 5 days according to his YouTube channel. Now his follower count sits at a hefty 2.6 million. This meant that he had to write the names of millions of followers all over his house and that even extends to the basement. At this point you might wonder how on earth he picks out who to give the money to – his unusual method is to throw a dart at the wall and whoever’s username it lands on will get $100 on the day he posts. Write their name down, recognize them follow them back. These are things that I think influencers are sleeping on..something that comes with this is giving back, being kind. If you can do this, that will come back to you.” At his current rate of success, Nice2Strangers could be gaining millions more followers in the coming weeks. Will he become the TikTok version of MrBeast? If so, let’s just hope he has enough space on his walls.

TikToker furious Best Buy made him pay 11 cents to bag $3,200 worth of items TikTok/mattplappA TikToker is going viral for calling out Best Buy after the company charged him 11 cents for a plastic bag after he already spent $3,200 on goods at the store. To help the environment, many places and governments have pushed consumers to pay extra for plastic bags, but the way it’s being implemented really ticked off TikToker Matt Plapp. In a video making rounds on the platform, the Plapp and his friend were leaving Best Buy with the camera rolling while they explained the poor customer service they received at checkout. “This is us carrying $3,200 in gear out of Best Buy,” he explained. “No bag! Because after we paid, we were told it’s 11 cents for a bag. Okay, thanks Best Buy!” Sure enough, both he and his friend were stuck carrying their goods and the feedback to the clip has resulted in quite a mixed reaction. TikTok responds after Best Buy customer slams plastic bag policy In the comments, the TikToker was accused of being cheap for not paying the 11 cents with some saying he should bring his own bags if he can’t afford them. “So the system works, you’re using less bags?” one asked. “Not really Best Buy’s fault and most people carry a reusable bag if it’s that big of an inconvenience for them,” another said. (click here if TikTok fails to load) Plapp, however, held his ground that it was the store’s policy and not his state’s: “Crazy states like California have [implemented a bag tax], but this is Kentucky and it doesn’t happen here, or didn’t before Best Buy.” In a statement to The Daily Dot, the TikToker explained his issue isn’t with plastic bags per se, but rather how Best Buy handled its policy. “I have zero issue with them charging for bags. I pay for bags at businesses all the time. My point was that it wasn’t mentioned until after we had already paid for the 5 items, which at that point I’m not pulling my [credit card] out of my pocket to buy an 11-cent bag,” he said. He went on to say that getting a bag should be standard practice when someone spends $3,200 on 5 items. Since being uploaded, the clip has been viewed nearly 400,000 times, showing that the plastic bags are quite a hot topic. • TikToker freaks out as The Ring girl appears in her reflection – Dexerto

TikToker freaks out as The Ring girl appears in her reflection The Ring / TikTokA Tiktoker freaked out as a shadow resembling the girl from The Ring appeared in her reflection. Home to the most creative of content, TikTok has a wide variety of entertainment to offer. This also includes paranormal-like or downright scary videos. At times, these frightening clips have people morph into horrific creatures, making them nearly unrecognizable. While other times, there’s just a clip of unidentifiable voices that lead to no conclusion. However, this time around, one TikTok, in particular, took it to the next level, showcasing what was a shadow resembling the girl from The Ring. TikToker freaks out as the girl from The Ring appears in her reflection A TikToker by the name of Esmeralda showcased some truly freaky content as a reflection resembling the girl from The Ring appeared next to her while she was alone in the room. The video, which has garnered 11.5 million views since its upload on February 28, has the TikToker showing off both sides of the sofa she’s sitting on before flipping her phone’s camera onto her TV. Once the TV is shown, a shadowy figure that resembles the girl from The Ring appears even though Esmeralda made sure to show off that no one else was sitting beside her. In response to this, comments were wide-ranging, from asking her why she was there to a suggestion of throwing the whole house away, added to the intensity of the moment. “And you’re just sitting and recording?” wrote one user. “Girl run! I don’t think you’d survive a horror movie.” Another said, “Throw the whole house away.” The social media app never ceases to amaze as anything can freak anybody out, especially if it’s something like an unfounded reflection.

  • TikToker furious as police called on him right after buying new house – Dexerto

TikToker furious as police called on him right after buying new house TikTok: justinvoss636TikTok users have been rallying around a TikToker who, immediately after buying a new home, was harassed by police for an unknown reason. Home design, renovations, and moving stories have always been a popular genre of videos on TikTok, especially as many viewers have started taking inspiration from them to do their own thing. However, in the case of Justin Voss (justvoss636), that dream of buying a new home turned into somewhat of a nightmare almost immediately after moving in. The TikToker, who typically posts clips from the gym, had moved into a new home in Minnesota and, almost immediately, found himself being harassed by police officers. As a result, TikTok has started to rally behind him. Minnesota man harassed by police after buying new home Justin posted a clip back in early July, which has since racked up over 12.5 million views, of him being confronted on his doorstep by three police officers from the local department. The video does not capture why the police are there, but Justin joked that they were his “welcoming” party for moving into his new house. However, it was pretty tense throughout as the police initially ignored his request for names and badge numbers. However, they eventually relented before the video came to an end and gave in to the peaceful request. Viewers urged him to seek legal help over what went down and begged for the TikToker to reveal the reason for the visit. The TikToker posted an update shortly after, making a video of himself at his local police station making an official complaint about the officers and the situation that had unfolded outside his new home. He has posted one video since then but it’s unrelated to what happened with the police and viewers are eager for an update on the situation. “Did they even have or show you a warrant? They can’t just shove their way in. Definitely get a lawyer,” said one. “Please take it all the way !! Keep us updated,” added another. “Let us know when you sue them!” another commented. It remains to be seen if Justin will ever issue an update on the situation, but if it’s become a legal matter, well, it could take a while.

  • TikToker Francis Bourgeois gives Louis Theroux new reason for using fake name – Dexerto

TikToker Francis Bourgeois gives Louis Theroux new reason for using fake name YouTube: BBC/Louis TherouxTikTok star Francis Bourgeois has told Louis Theroux why he uses a pseudonym on social media rather than his real name, and it’s a slightly different answer than before. If you’ve spent enough time on TikTok over the past year or so, you’ve very likely come across a post or two from Francis Bourgeois – TikTok’s resident trainspotter from the UK. The TikToker shot to popularity with his videos from train stations around the South of England as he, joyfully, displayed his love of trains for millions of fans. He’s an expert in all things locomotive, but his name isn’t actually Francis. His real name, as some have discovered, is Luke Nicolson, and he’s previously explained that he started to use a pseudonym in university when applying for placements – seeing as potential employees wouldn’t be looking up his real name. Well, he’s now got a somewhat new answer. Francis Bourgeois tells Louis Theroux why he uses a fake name The TikTok star was a part of the new season of Louis Theroux interviews on BBC, where they talked about one of Francis’ other loves – scooting. During a bit of downtime, the iconic interviewer quizzed him on why he going by the name Francis even though plenty of people know him as Luke. “Through my experience in school, I knew that the perception of trainspotting at the time wasn’t cool and I’d never shown my friends that side of me,” he said. “So, in using a pseudonym, I was able to feel a bit more protected and that’s why I just let these videos go.” Timestamp of 2:00 The Brit also added that why he isn’t playing a “character” for his videos, and his love of trains is authentic, the name has a bit more of a “ring to it” than Luke Nicolson. His success has been pretty meteoric, and he’s even gotten his own TV show off the back of it where, of course, trainspotting is involved. So, the Francis Bourgious name isn’t going away anytime soon.

TikToker forces thief to clean his shower after attempted break-in goes wrong TikTok: tazbands1209A TikToker is going viral for catching his neighbor in the middle of breaking into his Uncle’s house and forcing the would-be thief to clean the shower rather than phoning law enforcement. TikTok is certainly a wild place where all manner of content goes viral. From genius life hacks to popular challenges, dances, and more, TikTok has a whole lot to offer. However, one user is winning the app for their surprising method of handling a home intruder — and viewers can’t get enough of how they took charge of the situation. TikToker ‘tazbands1209’ says he was at his Uncle’s house, which he was house-sitting, when the break-in took place. He’d gone outside to feed his dog after a work meeting and was headed back in when he noticed the screen door was open. Thinking this odd, as he’d definitely closed it, the TikToker went inside and found a neighbor poking his head out of a bedroom. Taz says he’s had issues with this neighbor before, claiming they’d thrown rocks at the windows among other problems. The TikToker then noticed that the neighbor’s pockets were full of stuff he’d pilfered from the house — but instead of dialing 911, Taz decided to teach the lad a little lesson in hard work. TikToker forces thief to clean their shower as punishment in viral video In a video that’s garnered nearly 100,000 views, Taz can be heard instructing the thief on how to properly clean his shower as the intruder grumbles about being forced to clean as penance for breaking into his Uncle’s home. “It’s either that or the cops, bro, you came into my house,” Taz says after the neighbor complained that he wasn’t “his girl.” “Come on. I still see some spots right there.” “Don’t break into people’s houses, folks, or you’ll end up cleaning their shower,” Taz captioned the video. Commenters were pretty impressed by the TikToker’s way of handling the situation, although some still would’ve taken things up with their local law enforcement. “Mans broke into someone’s house, better be lucky all they do is make you clean the tub,” one user wrote. “If this is real, you are a stand up guy for real,” another said. “Nah, after he was done, I’d have made him make the call himself. Actually call his momma,” another suggested. This is just the latest vigilante justice to go viral on TikTok after a woman recorded herself following a shoplifter home on the bus before phoning law enforcement to arrest the thief.

  • TikToker finds out dad isn’t her biological father after stranger tells her to get DNA test – Dexerto

TikToker finds out dad isn’t her biological father after stranger tells her to get DNA test TIKTOK: laneiscool14A TikToker discovered her dad isn’t her biological father after getting a text message from a stranger urging her to get a DNA test. In a viral video with 11 million views, content creator Lane explained that she received a message from an unknown number last year, telling her to take an Ancestry.com test. “And I think it’s fake, I FaceTime my friend, and I’m like, ‘Listen to this,’” she recalled in the clip. “And she’s like, ‘I swear my gut is telling me this is real. You need to respond.’ So I respond, and then they write me back.” The TikToker said the text conversation left her shocked, and that the stranger made a “burner account on Facebook” to message her and her husband about the DNA test. “They would not provide me with any sort of proof that this was real, and, obviously, I called my mom immediately, saying, ‘What the f**k,’” she added. Her mother eventually confessed that she had an affair with a 25-year-old man while she was in college at age 35. She admitted the man who raised Lane was not her biological father. “I almost fell off my f**king chair,” the TikToker recalled. “It was a one-time thing, but he even saw her on campus and said, ‘Is that mine?’ and she denied it.” Frustrated, Lane immediately ordered an Ancestry test, and received her results six weeks later. “I find out that, yes, this man is my father. So I message him immediately, and he lives in California. He’s British. What the f**k? “He said my mom sent him a Christmas card when I was two years old, saying my name in it and that he’s googled my name ever since. In 2007, my name popped up, and he saw a picture of me, and he knew immediately that I was his daughter.” Lane’s father emailed her mother to get in contact with her, but she “threatened him” and said to “leave them alone” and never contact them again. “So what did he do? He followed me on social media my entire life,” Lane said. She then posted a side-by-side photo of her and her biological father, writing, “I’m telling you this picture freaked me the f**k out.” In another video, she explained that it wasn’t her biological dad who sent the text messages, but his nephew, who was in a similar experience. She also revealed that she’d cut her mom out of her life. Lane shared in a recent update that the father who raised her now knows she isn’t his biological daughter “One of my sisters who I’m estranged with, immediately told him. So, I don’t know what his reaction was,” she said. “I can only imagine he was just as devastated as me, but then there is also the fact that between him and [me], not a lot changes,” she said. “I just feel like I have two dads now, which is a good thing.”

A TikToker vowed revenge against his roommate’s cat for taking a dump in his closet, but his fight against the feline proved to be a difficult one when using moves from Street Fighter. Street Fighter is one of the most iconic fighting games of all time with numerous moves and characters that have captivated audiences worldwide. But what would happen if you tried to use those moves against an opponent in real life? And what if your opponent wasn’t even a human, but instead your roommate’s cat? Who do you think would win? TikToker Breck Ortiz set out to do just that – and the results were not pretty, to say the least. (click here if TikTok fails to load) Man fights cat with Street Fighter moves in viral TikTok Once the “fight” began, Ortiz soon realized that duking it out like a 2D fighter would not be the way to go due to the limited options available to score a hit against the feline opponent. Not only were his Shoryukens and Hadoukens unable to connect, but neither were his low-kicks, meaning the kitten had a massive advantage. “Okay, you literally can’t hit him!” the TikToker complained in the video, noting how his hurtbox was just too small. (click here if TikTok fails to load) In a rematch clip, Ortiz tried switching things up by attempting some grabs, but even those were completely useless. In the end, the cat managed to “time out” his opponent and earn a W against the human. “This character is literally so busted + he pooped in my real-life closet,” the TikToker captioned the video. Fans of Street Fighter and animals absolutely loved the clips, earning them over 1.5M views in the process. Some even called for the kitten to get nerfed, commenting how a cat would be totally overpowered in a fighting game. In any case, if you ever get into a fight with a cat, don’t try using moves from Street Fighter. You just won’t win.

  • TikToker faces backlash after wearing white dress to friend’s wedding – Dexerto

TikToker faces backlash after wearing white dress to friend’s wedding TIKTOK: laceyjadechristieA TikToker has been slammed after revealing she was going to wear a white dress to her friend’s wedding, but others have defender her choice of outfit. Content creator Lacey-Jade Christie went viral on the short-form app after sharing what she was wearing to the wedding. In a video with over 331,000 views, she showed off a low-cut white dress with long sleeves, which she planned to wear to her friend’s big day. Generally, wedding guests who wear a white dress are often seen as trying to upstage the bride, and it’s widely known as a color to avoid. While Lacey-Jade was clearly proud of her look, TikTok users weren’t quite as convinced that her white dress was appropriate to wear to someone else’s wedding. “This is satire right?” one user questioned. “It’s beautiful but I don’t really think it’s appropriate for a wedding,” another wrote. “Never wear white to wedding unless you’re the bride!” a third added. “I’m not even concerned about how low cut it is… but white? you decided to wear white to a wedding?” someone else commented. In response to the critics, Lacey-Jade explained in another video that the wedding she attended was between two women, and it wasn’t a “traditional” wedding. “This wedding in question actually had two brides, and one was wearing ruby red and the other was wearing emerald green,” she said. Lacey-Jade also insisted she’d asked the brides beforehand to make sure none of the bridesmaids were wearing white, so that she knew she wouldn’t be dressed inappropriate on the day. She finished her video by stating that not all weddings are the same, as she said: “Not every wedding is going to fit your idea of what a wedding should look like, and that’s part of the fun of it. Put your outdated views back in your head.”

  • TikToker faces backlash after shaming Chipotle worker for eating on the job – Dexerto

TikToker faces backlash after shaming Chipotle worker for eating on the job TIKTOK: smat742/WIKIMEDIA: Mike MozartA TikToker faced backlash after ranting about a Chipotle worker who was eating a snack in the middle of a shift. This content creator went viral for all the wrong reasons, after he filmed and complained about a Chipotle employee eating during her shift. “Employees eating and walking around instead of working! Pathetic! Never even washed her hands or nothing. Fkin gross!” the TikToker wrote in text over the video. In the eight-second clip, which has amassed over 343,000 views, employees can be seen standing behind a counter, with one of them eating a small snack. He wrote in the caption of the video that one of the workers “has a bad attitude as well,” complaining that another was “counting tips” while customers queued out the door. TikTok react to customer shaming Chipotle worker for eating during shift Instead of sympathizing with the content creator, the vast majority of TikTok users in the comments sided with the Chipotle worker, and criticized the TikToker. “They’re human bro, they have to eat too. There were other people there working,” one user commented. “Lmao you’re a KAREN,” another quipped. “If you only knew what really went on with food prep, that’s the least of your problems,” a third wrote. “Stop complaining about fast food! If you don’t like it COOK your own damn food!” a fourth user added. “Funny how you didn’t reach the right attention, most of us in the comments actually understand her side. Don’t judge,” someone else shared. Despite the fact that eating on the job is often discouraged for food safety reasons, most people defended fast-food workers eating while working. One user offered an explanation as to why one of the workers was counting tips instead of working, which the TikToker ranted about. “At my job, we have someone counting tips who is not in charge at the moment of taking orders or doing those orders,” they explained. “That’s probably what this is.”

  • TikToker exposes Tinder date to medical school over racist comments – Dexerto

TikToker exposes Tinder date to medical school over racist comments TikTok: neesh_meA TikToker has gone viral for recounting a story about exposing a Tinder date to their medical school after they made racist comments to them. Social media apps like TikTok truly envision all that humanity has to offer. All the wild, whacky, and crazy things that happen to us as humans gets to finally be captured or retold on the internet. This means you never really know what you’re going to get when you hop onto the apps each day. Often times we’re drawn into stories about bad jobs, a weird habit, or even a date gone awry, all because it’s something we understand ourselves. One TikToker documented themselves going on an absolute nightmare of a date and ended up going viral because of their actions afterward. TikToker exposes Tinder date to med school after making racist comments TikToker neesh_me explained that they had a phase in college where they would go on dates with girls he didn’t agree with politically just to get free food. Normally they would just part ways after he nabbed the goods, but he made an exception for one girl in particular. “’Trashly’ and I meet on Tinder, we’re talking about all the typical conservative talking points about like immigrants and borders and all that good stuff,” the Tiktoker elaborated. “Trashly” mentioned to Neesh that they’re currently attending med school and are looking to become a doctor soon. “She starts talking about the changes she wants to make, and I’m like ‘Oh what are the changes you want to make?’ She’s like frankly, I don’t think immigrants deserve healthcare… then she starts unprompted telling me about how brown and black people are genetically inferior… she keeps going off saying increasingly heinous stuff.” Neesh then took it upon themselves to document her words, recording her on their phone and sending it off to the med school she was attending. “Maybe like a week later, I get an email saying ‘Hey we’re so sorry you had to endure that racial hardship, we’ve taken the appropriate steps to ensure Trashly doesn’t perform medical procedures anywhere in California.”

  • TikToker exposes “scam” hospital bill by just asking for receipts – Dexerto

TikToker exposes “scam” hospital bill by just asking for receipts TikTok: oh_thats_just_trey/UnsplashA TikToker by the name of ‘oh_thats_just_trey’ has called out “scam” hospital bills after he asked for an itemized receipt – and viewers have taken to the comments with similar stories. If there’s one thing Americans should be able to agree on when it comes to visiting the hospital, it’s that they’re really expensive. Without insurance in the US, visitors can receive bills totaling tens of thousands of dollars for more complicated visits. TikToker ‘oh_thats_just_trey’ has gone viral after uploading a video calling out “scam” hospital bills after he asked for an itemized receipt, which led to a decrease of over $3,000. TikTok user calls out “scam” hospital bills Uploaded back in April 2022, Tre’jon ‘oh_thats_just_trey’ Wilson’s video said: “Tell me why my hospital bill went from $4,000 to $950 all because I asked them for a receipt and a list of everything I was being charged for, SMFH. They lowered my bill by 76%. Is it me or our health care system is a scam?” At the time of writing, the TikTok video has been viewed almost four million times, with users flooding the comments with their own experiences. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Just days later, Adam Conover, who gained popularity for his show “Adam Ruins Everything,” stitched the video to explain why hospitals have the high rates that they do. “The numbers on every doctor and hospital bill are straight-up fake and made up. If you have insurance, your hospital has to negotiate with your insurance company on the cost of services so they set these super high, ridiculous numbers as a starting point for that negotiation,” Adam explained. He then went on to add that the “messed up” part of this process, is that patients receive the same extremely high bill if they do not have insurance, allowing the patient to ask for receipts and receive a lower bill. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Both videos have received millions of views, and users are dying to attempt the ‘hack’ the next time they go to the hospital. • TikToker exposes “sinister” bridesmaids for bashing friend’s wedding – Dexerto

TikToker exposes “sinister” bridesmaids for bashing friend’s wedding TikToker Kelsey Kotzur exposed a group of bridesmaids for dissing their friend and her wedding after walking by the “sinister” trio at a late morning brunch. As any wedding should go, the loved ones who were invited to be part of the bridal party are supposed to act in accordance with anything and everything that the bride and groom want. However, for one bride, her alleged friends ended up dissing her wedding and its aesthetic while out at brunch. Luckily for TikToker Kelsey Kotzur, she was able to both hear and see all of the things being said and done by the “sinister” bridesmaids, later exposing them on the social media platform. Bridesmaids say the bride didn’t look beautiful on her wedding day TikToker Kelsey Kotzur was minding her business while enjoying her late morning brunch, but couldn’t help but overhear three bridesmaids dissing their friend’s wedding. Though Kotzur may not have anticipated hearing such hateful speech, she got an earful — later taking to TikTok to expose the bridesmaids she called “sinister.” In her now-viral video, Kotzur revealed the things said by the bridal party, saying, “I was sitting next to a table full of three girls and they were talking about how they all were in their friend’s wedding a few weeks ago.” Kotzur continued, “At first it was sort of tamed gossip… but then it got sinister very quickly.” She then revealed that not only did the trio of bridesmaids say they didn’t like the cut or color of their dress, but they also said how they felt so “ugly” on their friend’s day. The group of girls continued to gossip about how they had to adhere to the bride’s wedding aesthetic, saying that the day shouldn’t be just about the bride. Not only that, but the bridesmaids also talked about how the bride didn’t look “beautiful” on her special day. What’s more, the bride’s alleged friends also said that they could have gone into “any forest” and plucked prettier flowers than what the bride used as a bouquet. Oh, but wait, there’s more… they then proceeded to call the bride and groom out for being too cheap for a champagne toast, as they used rose instead. Those who have heard the now-viral story on TikTok took to the video of Kotzur exposing the bridesmaids to say how wrong they were for saying all those things, stating, “This is so heartbreaking for that bride. I hope she sees this so she knows.” While another shared their own wedding story, saying, “My family made fun of my wedding to everyone behind my back. It was heartbreaking. I feel for this bride.” Though it’s unknown if the bride has seen the TikTok video where Kotzur exposed her three bridesmaids, Kotzur made sure to detail what they looked like, saying, “If you just got married and your color scheme was like blush, and you have two blonde friends with short bobs, and you have a brunette friend — don’t be friends with them anymore.”

  • TikToker exposes “misogynistic” car salesman who assumed sister is a stripper – Dexerto

TikToker exposes “misogynistic” car salesman who assumed sister is a stripper TikTok: esposatoxicaA woman on TikTok went viral after slamming a car salesman for making a comment about her sister being a “stripper” when she was merely trying to buy a vehicle. It was a normal day for TikTok user Bianca Figueroa when she pulled up to her local Toyota dealership in Hendersonville, NC to purchase a car for the cleaning business she owns with her mother and sister. Although she and her husband had their hearts set on a “beautiful, white Toyota Tacoma,” a customer was just taking that particular vehicle out for a test drive. That’s when she was approached by one Jeremiah McDaniels, a car salesman at the dealership. McDaniels assured the Figueroas that they’d get a chance to nab the car if the customers taking it for a drive weren’t interested. Bianca claims her sister called the salesman directly afterward to check up on their chances — and after that, things went south fast. TikToker slams car salesman for calling her sister a “stripper” According to Bianca, McDaniels apparently forgot to hang up the phone after their conversation and ended up getting into some “locker room talk” with his fellow salesmen, where he made a comment about Bianca’s sister being a stripper. “Jeremiah says the following: ‘Yeah bro, her family came to see the truck and they liked it or whatever,’” Bianca explained. “‘And then this girl calls and she was like, ‘Hey I’m Crystal.’ And I was thinking, what, are you a stripper?’” “‘And then she says she owns a cleaning business. Oh yeah? What kind of cleaning business?’” Bianca was left outraged by the salesman’s discussion, of which she heard every word while on the phone with her sister. Bianca walked right into the dealership and demanded answers from McDaniels, who led her straight to his supervisor’s office to work things out. However, Bianca says that the supervisor didn’t even look up from his computer when she approached him about the situation and dismissed her. It wasn’t until she tried to leave the office that he “towered over” her and began yelling at her about “making allegations” regarding his employees. “There is no reason us women should be having these arguments with men like this,” she said. Bianca also claimed that she’s taken the issue up with Toyota’s corporate office, who have “opened an investigation” into the matter. Commenters were quick to jump to Bianca and her family’s defense, demanding answers from Toyota and wishing the Figueroa’s the best after such a shocking experience. “I am so sorry that happened,” one user wrote. “He should be ashamed, as well as his coworkers.” “Good luck. I have a hard time doing business with any Toyota dealer in the entire 100 mile area,” another said. This is just the latest IRL conversation to spark outrage on TikTok after a woman recounted the “sinister” way a group of bridesmaids talked about a bride she overheard while she was traveling abroad.

He reported the incident to the hotel management, which “took very good care” of him and immediately fired the staff member.

  • TikToker exposes Airbnb host for huge price rise after revealing she’s seeing Taylor Swift – Dexerto

TikToker exposes Airbnb host for huge price rise after revealing she’s seeing Taylor Swift TikTok: Ariel StewartA woman has gone viral on TikTok after exposing an Airbnb host for raising the price of her booking after she revealed why she wanted to stay there. TikTok has now become firmly entrenched in many social media users’ daily routines, whether that be swiping through videos or uploading clips themselves. It’s no longer all about dance routines, songs, or creative videos either, as it’s become a place for many to vent their frustrations about different goings on. One such popular genre of complaints stems from Airbnb, with guests routinely outing some of the worst experiences they’ve had, and hosts doing the same thing. In the case of TikToker Ariel Stewart, she was trying to stay in New Orleans for a Taylor Swift concert, however, their host tried to raise the price by a long way after realizing that was the reason. TikToker goes viral after Airbnb massively raises prices for Taylor Swift Well, Ariel has since exposed the host for doing so, racking up over 3 million views alone on one of her videos about the situation. In it, the TikToker reveals messages between her and the host where, after revealing she would be going to the Taylor Swift show in 2024, things turn. The host said that the price would be increased to $1200 per night before offering different options to the TikToker. Naturally, Ariel rejected those alternatives before the host put blame on Airbnb not allowing them to change the price for bookings over such a long period. This, Ariel stated, was wrong as her friend is a SuperHost and dismissed it. “For everyone commenting that I am in the wrong, the hosts has the option to set prices for dates for upcoming events longer than a year,” she said. The TikToker even uploaded a video from her friend showing that was, in fact, the case and hosts have the option to change prices regardless of what the other host had claimed. Plenty of viewers were on her side in the disagreement, suggesting she should take the host to court after they claimed Ariel was trying to “steal” and “threaten” them in the messages. “She only wanted to change the price because you mentioned Taylor Swift and realized she messed up. Good for you!” said one. “Had this issue with a host, still in a 3 year battle in court. He’s miserable. Just cease communication and let Airbnb handle it,” another said. The TikToker hasn’t provided any updates since the start of November but viewers are desperate for a conclusion to things.

TikToker exposes “hilarious” dating application form sent by Tinder match Tiktok: RumourhasitvintageTikToker ‘rumourhasitvintage’ has revealed the bizarre extremes people are resorting to in attempts to find love. The video focuses on a Google form application detailing every aspect of life for prospective matches. With Tinder’s reputation as a ‘hook-up’ app more than a place to find love ever firming up in the minds of its users, attempts to find a genuine connection on the app get weirder by the minute. The application form sent to rumourhasitvintage, first name Elizabeth, was sent before either party had said hello and started out with formal questions. “What is your name? Are you single? Are you employed?” more in line with an interview process than an attempt at romantic engagement. Quickly devolving into a stranger line of questioning, the form continued “Do you own a dog?” while offering an answer as “No, but I have access to my friends dog.” Continuing the strange line of questioning, while sprinkling in some pop culture feelers, the unnamed match asks “What’s your favorite Justin Bieber song and why isn’t it Sorry?” As well as “Which LotR movie is (in your opinion) the best one?” while having “Fellowship of the Ring” as a potential response. Closing out the application, the form asks “What is the blockchain? Any special skills?” before seeking feedback with a five-part multi-choice question. “How do you feel after filling out this application form?” Responses to the feedback included “These questions have not adequately summed up who I am as a person and I’d like to share more. What a waste of time I don’t even like you” and ” who sends their matches an application form?” https://www.tiktok.com/@rumourhasitvintage/video/7067759644701232389?referer_url=httpsnypost.com20220420my-tinder-match-sent-me-bizarre-dating-application-before-even-saying-hello&referer_video_id=7067759644701232389&refer=embed The comments section was divided between seeing the form as a huge red flag to getting onboard with the line of questioning. “I’m so sorry but this is hilarious and exactly my sense of humor.” One commenter gave a grim view of the state of dating, saying “I also matched with this guy! And unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve been asked to fill out a survey on a dating app! The audacity!”

  • TikToker explains why she swears by rice water for “soft and supple” skin – Dexerto

TikToker explains why she swears by rice water for “soft and supple” skin TikTok: jazmynjenningssA TikToker has shared that while working at a sushi restaurant she discovered rice water could help achieve “soft and supple” skin. A good skincare routine can help keep you looking and feeling your best, with thousands of products for every possible concern. From acne to suncare to anti-aging, proper skin care can keep many problems at bay. However, these products can cost an arm and a leg with Advanced Dermatology estimating that Americans spend approximately $722 on their appearance each year. Now one TikToker has found a cheaper solution that can be found in most kitchen cupboards. All you need is some rice and water to get started. Jazmyn, who goes by ‘jazmynjenningss’ on TikTok, stumbled across the skincare properties of rice water while working at a sushi restaurant. Having to regularly wash up to nine “big rice containers” per shift, Jazmyn was surprised when her sister mentioned how soft her hands had become. “Oh my god, it’s from the rice,” Jazmyn said, recounting her realization. “From washing the rice every day my skin became really, really soft and supple, and also the skin color changed a little bit — it became more bright.” Jazmyn recommended that anyone looking to make their skin “more bright and more soft” should try using rice water. She further explained in the comments that she keeps it in a container and uses it daily as a rinse. And it turns out that using rice water for skin care is no new discovery, as it has been used in many Asian cultures for centuries. In fact, its earliest known use dates all the way back to Japan, over 1,000 years ago. The reason rice water can be so beneficial is that it’s incredibly rich in nutrients, such as fiber, magnesium, and manganese. It also contains vitamins B1, C, and E, resulting in a natural skin cleanser that can reduce signs of aging and the appearance of pores. Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

We were sweating,” she added. “At the end of our shift, we would take off the clothes, put the tags back on, and then put them back into the store.” Other users in the comments with retail experience backed up Octagon’s TikTok, saying they had worn clothes that had been sold to customers later on down the line too. “Yes this is the same as my work does!!” One user replied in the comments “I also work at a clothing store. TikToker Emmuhlu dragged by Cardi B for making “disrespectful” videos Instagram: iamcardib / TikTok: emmuhlu[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star ‘emmuhlu’ became the subject of scrutiny after being called out by famed rap artist Cardi B, who criticized the influencer for “picking on” her by making “disrespectful” videos. Emmuhlu is a popular face on TikTok, boasting over 1.2 million followers on the viral video app for her humorous commentary and unabashed fandom for rapper Nicki Minaj. However, emma’s videos came under scrutiny in August, after critics accused the TikToker of having used a racial slur in the past — but that wasn’t the reason her name began trending across Twitter on August 24. Emmuhlu’s name quickly became a hot topic on social media after Cardi B publicly called out the influencer, accusing her of racist behavior after purportedly being discussed negatively in her videos, one of which has been posted below. “Been talking about me for months,” Cardi Tweeted. “B***h probably want my skin color… then disguise herself as a Black female rapper stan to hide her racism and gain followings. Goodbye, Peta bread lip having a**.” That’s not all; Cardi’s spiel continued, with the artist writing, “Fish lips, is this you? Please keep my name out your mouth. Ella has since responded to the backlash in a pointed TikTok, explaining why she sometimes duets Hannah’s videos and copies her eyeliner. “So, I only copy Hannah’s makeup style and duet her because I look like her, and I want to show other people,” she claimed. “I don’t think she cares, because she follows me and I think she would have said something to me by now.” “It’s rare to find a doppelganger, and I think she’s kind of like my doppelganger.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. In a video uploaded on October 6, the web developer and songwriter told the story of the time she went on a date with a guy from a dating app after they bonded over their shared love of food. She explained that she drove 45 minutes to meet him at his house, where he walked up to her and told her he’d lost his keys, asking her to drive them to the restaurant, which ended up being a Taco Bell drive-through. However, that’s when things started to get really strange. Elyse went on to say that the guy then proceeded to order 100 hard shell tacos, but she ended up having to pay for it as he revealed that he had forgotten his wallet. They drove back to his house, which he shared with his father, and the man started emptying boxes of tacos in the kitchen, saying “let’s feast.” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The final straw for Elyse was when the guy’s father came up to her and asked her to see his “studio,” at which point she decided the date was well and truly over. TikToker Ellie Zeiler hits back at comparisons to Charli D’Amelio & Addison Rae Instagram: Elie Zeiler/Charli D’AmelioPopular TikToker Ellie Zeiler had a simple message for a number of comments that keep making comparisons between herself, Charli D’Amelio, and Addison Rae. Despite a massive following of her own on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, Ellie Zeiler is well known to many because of her uncanny resemblance to TikTok star Charli D’Amelio. The striking resemblance has caused controversy before as Zeiler had to shut down accusations from fans that Charli had copied her dance moves and that she was shading the D’Amelio’s by asking who she was. The constant comparisons continue in her comments on a daily basis, however, more recently, some fans have been bringing Addison Rae into the mix as well, prompting Zeiler to shut them down with a simple response. In a comment on a recent TikTok post, one viewer told Zeiler that: “You look like Addison Rae and Charli mixed together,” and while they probably were not expecting a response, they got one. “I look like Ellie Zeiler,” the TikToker commented. with thousands of fans liking the comment in support of her clap back. She responded to another in a similar fashion too after another viewer said: “She went from Charli to Dixie real quick.” This time around Zeiler clapped back, saying: “Ellie. My name is Ellie. Please.” View this post on Instagram Having to see so many comments on a regular basis comparing yourself to someone else must get pretty tiresome, and the urge to unleash a furious response must be overwhelming. Though, going off Zeiler’s response, she’s keeping things simple and wants the randoms to call her by her name as she forges her own path. The comparisons probably won’t stop any time soon but if Ellie keeps shutting them down then maybe they’ll start to become a little less frequent.

He was last seen alive at 5.30pm on January 29. Witnesses claim they saw Edgar “stumble toward the edge”, falling to his death while he was reportedly recording a video. The Puerto Rico Emergency Bureau dive unit helped find the young man’s body. “We express our most heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Edgar Garay and pray they find closure and strength during this most difficult time,” said Capt. José E. Díaz, Coast Guard Sector San Juan commander. “We appreciate the efforts of all the Coast Guard, Puerto Rico Police and partner agency emergency responders, especially the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Bureau dive unit that was able to locate Mr Garay’s body in such a highly inaccessible and challenging environment.” It was confirmed that Edgar was “knocked out” during the fall, which led to him drowning in the water below. Family members also claim he suffered “severely damaging injuries.” His brother Carlos later told news outlets his brother was filming a TikTok video at the time of his death, which was something he “loved to do.” “My brother has a TikTok account that he loved to upload videos to,” he told WTHR. “Unfortunately, that was what he was trying to do when he was closer to the edge than he should have been. “He was just visiting, so, for him to be laid and his final resting place somewhere miles upon miles away from here is just awful and devastating.” A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds to bring his body back to Indiana. Edgar’s passing isn’t the first notable death of a TikToker so far in 2023, as it comes just days after Randy Gonzalez died aged 35.

TikToker Dr Matthew Lani arrested after sneaking into hospital and faking medical licence TikTok/Matthew LaniSouth African TikTok star Matthew Lani was arrested and accused of fraud after posing as a doctor online and attempting to enter a hospital to make content. South African internet personality Matthew Lani, 28, grew popular on TikTok by sharing his medical knowledge under the name Dr Matthew Lani. With over 300,000 followers, he would give medical advice as well as sell medication online. However, on Sunday, October 29, Lani was detained and later arrested after allegedly attempting to sneak past security into the Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. Videos of Lani being detained have also begun circulating online. The clips show the TikToker wearing a t-shirt with a picture of SpongeBob SquarePants on it. Lani allegedly tried to bypass security by wearing a surgical mask and stethoscope. When confronted he tried to escape police by jumping out of a bathroom window before being caught not long after, the BBC reported. “Dr Lani” allegedly faked medical license in TikTok videos The Gauteng province’s Department of Health released a statement condemning Lani’s actions which read: “Lani was caught just before 8pm disguised in a hoodie and wearing a surgical mask with a stethoscope around his neck. “He had previously entered the same facility to curate misleading content under the pretense that he was a qualified doctor.” Lani had almost 300,000 followers on TikTok before his account was closed. He then opened another one, which has more than 50,000 followers. In his videos, which have now been removed, Lani claimed to have received a medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. However, this claim has been dismissed by the institution. According to the BBC, Lani allegedly tried to mislead authorities by saying his real name was Dr Sanele Zingelwa – a second-year medical intern at the Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital. Dr Zingelwa has opened a criminal case against Lani, accusing him of fraud. On Tuesday, October 31, Lani’s lawyer told reporters outside Johannesburg magistrates’ court: “His conduct… in actual fact, he was just doing it for entertainment. “There is no complainant here that says he actually consulted as a doctor… so as a result there is no case against him.” The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) then went on to say it had ‘no evidence’ to charge the TikToker and he has since been released. However, the NPA has ordered further investigations, and upon receiving the results it will decide “whether or not criminal proceedings should be instituted against the suspect.”

TikToker divides the internet by sharing how to avoid “low-budget” dates Unsplash: Jonathan J. Castellon / TikTok: tisiaxvsA woman’s TikTok on how she avoids a “low-budget experience” while dating has left the internet divided. There can be a lot of nerves surrounding a first date — after all, if all goes well it might just be the first step toward a relationship. However, dating etiquette and expectations vary between people depending on what they are looking for. So, it’s no surprise that not everyone will be on board with what you are. One TikToker discovered this after sharing how she ensures none of her dates end up as a “low-budget experience”, leaving the internet divided. Tisia, who goes by ‘tisiaxvs’ on TikTok, regularly posts dating advice and tips as the internet’s “big sister” for all things relationship-related. But one of her latest posts has caused a stir. Showing a “suitor” inviting her for a coffee, Tisia said, “You cannot take me to coffee or tea on the first date. It’s not equitable for me, I don’t drink coffee, and my perfume costs too much so don’t play.” She then used “the sandwich effect” to “redirect” the date toward something more suited to her. And for anyone confused, there are no actual sandwiches involved. Instead, it’s an approach used to give negative feedback by “sandwiching” it between two pieces of positive feedback. Using this technique, Tisia was able to turn her upcoming date into a restaurant experience, telling viewers to “ask for what you want, be polite in your ask, be a little bit difficult, and always say please and thank you.” The video sparked various reactions, with Tisia’s supporters calling her “elite, masterful, and intentional”. However, not everyone was on board. “My worth isn’t attached to what the date looks like at all,” one said. Another stated, “Coffee on the 1st date is perfect for me…low budget with my time and his money! Chemistry is the goal not how much he can spend.” Some took a different route entirely, one disagreer writing, “Me personally, I wouldn’t even respond to a man who would even think to suggest coffee date — just find another one who’ll suggest dinner.” While Tisia’s advice might not be everyone’s cup of tea, those who followed her tips returned with positive results; “Girl!!! Tell me why I tried this today and he stepped right up. ARE YOU SOME KIND OF WIZARD?” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

TikToker discovers she was referenced in a movie but it didn’t go well TikTok: Renduh/HallmarkA TikToker by the name of Renduh recently discovered she was referenced in a Hallmark movie, but quickly realized a glaring issue. Since 2016, TikTok‘s popularity has skyrocketed to over a billion monthly users with an extremely wide variety of content across the platform. One of those creators is Renduh, an appliance repair tech that shares tips and tricks with nearly 700,000 followers on the platform. On January 18, she learned that Hallmark referenced her content in their new movie, only to find out they were talking about the one time she shared incorrect information. Renduh discovers movie referenced her content In her video, Renduh shared a clip from Hallmark’s most recent movie ‘The Wedding Veil: Inspiration” where they’re talking about “everyone’s favorite appliance repair woman,” and reference her dishwasher pods video. “What? Holy sh*t they’re talking about me. And, they reference the one piece of information that I was incorrect about and then later corrected,” she said. Renduh went on to address Hallmark, telling them that the information in the video was wrong but she’s thankful for them referencing her in the movie. Back in 2022, Renduh shared with her followers that it’s better to put dishwasher detergent pods in the silverware caddy instead of the built-in dispenser so it wouldn’t get clogged up. Just weeks later, she issued an update admitting her mistake after she found out that it’s perfectly fine to put pods in the same place as liquid detergent. The TikToker also noted that the video was likely written (and filmed) way before she issued her correction. For more TikTok news and other viral stories, head over to our hub.

Having removed a panel of the wall beneath her stairs, Erin revealed on TikTok that there was a second abandoned staircase hidden underneath and leading into the dark. Deciding to investigate, Erin discovered a space as “big as [her] flat” right below her floors; “We explored a lot of weird underground tunnels that smell like s***… navigated through dead-end corridors and the massive built box in the middle of the room which is padlocked?!” Speaking with neighbors, Erin learned the basement beneath her had allegedly once been used to grow marijuana around 10 to 15 years ago. It was ultimately raided and boarded up, with no mention of its existence to Erin when she brought the flat. “We’ve since found two more mystery doors and another staircase outside that leads down to the lower basement,” Erin wrote in the caption of her video, promising viewers she would post more videos showing the secret passages and rooms. • TikToker discovers mysterious note and $300 in thrifted purse – Dexerto

TikToker discovers mysterious note and $300 in thrifted purse Tiktok: marthainfused / GoodWillAfter buying a used purse at Goodwill, TikToker marthainfused discovered a mysterious note and a total of $300 in a hidden compartment — making back bank on the $7 purchase. Thrift shoppers are always thrilled to discover that something they bought is worth more than what they paid for. But in marthainfused’s case, the TikToker gained an amazing story of a secret love affair — alongside $300. Having paid $6.99 for a used purse at GoodWill, the TikToker definitely didn’t expect too much from product: “Looking inside, it looked dirty. So I thought I could clean it up.” Her cleaning results in discovering the note — it’s actually a letter meant to be read after the writer’s death. The note stated: “I have three children. They will give my things to Goodwill after I die. So I am putting my inheritance in all my favorite things.” This on its own is enough to make a fascinating story. But there was more. “This coach bag was given to me by my husband’s girlfriend.” Apparently the writer discovered the bag after coming home early — the purse served as evidence of her husband’s infidelity. Martha, the writer of the note, carried the bag every day, to see if her husband would ever notice. The note doesn’t explicitly state if the husband ever did notice or not. Although the money seems random, Martha actually had a reason for leaving behind the random bundle of cash. At the end of the video, the note concludes by saying “go buy yourself a new bag.” In the comments, users are leaving condolences while simultaneously admiring Martha’s strength. And thanks to the video, the TikToker was given an opportunity to share a wonderful story — all for $6.99.
