TikTok star Zoe Laverne reveals aftermath of near-miss car accident Instagram: Zoe LaverneTikTok star Zoe Laverne has shared details of what she called ‘the scariest night of her life’ when she narrowly avoided what could have been a horrific crash on August 28. Zoe is a TikTok star known for her lip-syncing and dance routines, boasting a huge following of over 17 million followers since 2016 when she made her start on the video-sharing app formally known as Musical.ly. She had begun posting on her Snapchat story the night of August 28, with pictures of her and several friends in a car, Zoe in the passenger seat. The girl who was driving the vehicle had the phone up to her ear in this particular video. An hour later she uploaded a picture to her story of a pole extremely close to the windshield. She captioned it “tonight was the scariest night of my life. Came this close to hitting a telephone pole. Completely spun out of control. I’m so thankful my friends and I are alright. Thank you God.” Shortly after the incident, she took to a livestream on Instagram to share details of the near-miss with her followers. “Abby and I and a couple other girls were in the car, and Abby was checking her GPS,” she began to explain. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEdQ6mDHY9s/ “We hit the curb, we got on top of the curb. Abby was turning the wheel really really hard, we lost control of the wheel.” Zoe even says that the vehicle “went airborne” which gives an indication as to how severe the incident could have been. While it doesn’t appear that anyone of the girls in the car at the time of the incident were hurt, it certainly caused emotional damage judging by how frantic Zoe appeared in her live. While some have questioned Zoe’s decision to go live so soon after the incident, most have just expressed their relief that it didn’t turn into something more serious.

TikTok star Zoe Laverne under fire for allegedly kissing underage fan – Dexerto
TikTok star Zoe Laverne under fire for allegedly kissing underage fan Instagram: Zoe LaverneTikTok star Zoe LaVerne is facing massive backlash after multiple videos surfaced of her allegedly kissing an underage fan. This comes days after leaked Instagram conversations from her ex-boyfriend Cody Orlove and Amber VanPelt raised concerns of “very intense” interactions with an underage influencer. A video on the ‘Def Noodles’ account featured a short clip showing the two. It was apparently only a short form of a much longer video showing more instances of the same behavior. According to Def Noodles, LaVerne previously denied allegations of having a relationship with an underage person. This was in direct response to the allegations brought by Orlove’s hacked messages. The video comes at a sensitive time for LaVerne, who was already getting heat for Orlove’s Instagram messages with VanPelt. In them, Orlove’s leaked exchange shows that he “left (LaVerne) because of her interactions with Connor. They got very intense and it’s something I do not stand by whatsoever. It’s p**dophillia.” Another message, this time from Orlove to LaVerne, shows he cut communication from her. “My lawyers will handle the rest,” he said in reference to the “toxic” breakup between the two TikTok personalities. LaVerne, who deleted her Instagram in mid-September in response to a separate lip-syncing debacle, once again removed herself from the Facebook-owned social platform. In a private fandom account known to be run by LaVerne, she gave a message to her fans for her renewed hiatus from Instagram after the videos came out. “Thank you for everything, really,” the account called ‘zlpfandom0.2’ wrote. “But for right now I don’t think I’ll be back on soial media again. I (still) have a lot to think about. I reall don’t wanna leave you guys but I’m tired of feeling this way. I’m tired of crying and hurting. It’s nothing but negativity to me anymore. I love you so much.” LaVerne has over 17 million followers on TikTok and nearly 450,000 subscribers on YouTube. She’s been featured in TikToks and videos with other online celebrities ranging from Terin Sottile and ex-boyfriend Zephan Clark. If the move offline is permanent, it’s not known if LaVerne will publicly respond to the latest videos that are surfacing.

TikTok star Zoe LaVerne claims she might be pregnant in new video – Dexerto
TikTok star Zoe LaVerne claims she might be pregnant in new video Zoe LaVerneControversial social media star Zoe LaVerne is making waves online yet again as a new clip has surfaced of the 19-year-old apparently claiming she’s pregnant. LaVerne has been popular online since around 2016, when she first started gaining a following on the lip-sync app Musical.ly. Obviously keeping that trend going, she’s now one of the most popular influencers on the app’s modern-day equivalent, TikTok. This fame hasn’t come without controversy though, with Zoe most recently being accused of “grooming” underage TikTokers towards the end of 2020. Now, it seems we’re about to head down a whole new rabbit hole based on a recently uncovered clip. On January 3, Instagram tea page TheTikTokRoom posted a clip to their account that apparently shows LaVerne claiming to her viewers that she may be pregnant. “I shouldn’t even say this, but I might be pregnant right now,” she says in the clip recorded from a recent stream. “So, I’m not trying to fight right now.” Of course, there’s always the possibility that Zoe was just kidding, with some critics suspecting her of just to start some conversation and to keep the banter going. From what we can see in the clip though, there’s nothing to tell if she’s being completely serious or not. View this post on Instagram To make things even more mysterious, the star has yet to comment about the clip on her TikTok account or any other social media profiles, leaving this as the one bit of evidence we have for her claim. Rumors will definitely be swirling in the meantime about everything you could think of, but be sure to stick with Dexerto as well provide an update on the story as soon as more information becomes available. Like we said earlier, LaVerne is no stranger to controversy, which is why it’s not surprising people are taking this claim with a grain of salt. Just a few days after the new year though, and 2021 is already shaping up to be a wild one.

TikTok star Zoe Laverne responds to accusations of abusing her cat – Dexerto
TikTok star Zoe Laverne responds to accusations of abusing her cat Instagram: zoexlaverne[jwplayer ksH6zuKH] It turns out that Twitch streamer Alinity Divine isn’t the only internet personality facing allegations of animal abuse; TikToker Zoe Laverne has also been met with claims of mistreating her cat after tossing her feline friend up in the air. Zoe Laverne is a popular face on TikTok, boasting over 16 million followers on the app for her viral lipsyncing clips and trendy dance routines. It’s not just other TikTokers who make regular appearances in her videos, though. Laverne has likewise started showing off her new Himalayan kitten in her social media posts quite often — a critter who has become the center of controversy for the star. Like many kittens, Lavern’s is quite playful, and appears to enjoy being tossed up in the air, as told by the TikToker during an Instagram live stream addressing fans’ concerns over her treatment of the animal. “I don’t know why he makes me do it to him — like multiple times — like, he likes being thrown up in the air,” she explained. “It’s something that he likes. And all cats land on their feet, so I don’t know why that is getting spread around, that I’m like, hurting my cat. But I would never hurt my precious little baby.” She held up the cat in front of the camera as if to prove her point — and despite the recent sentiments surrounding the TikToker (due to her thoughts on Charli D’Amelio surpassing her in followers), it seems like fans are ready to forgive the incident and move on. https://www.instagram.com/p/CC6Ng-knotR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Laverne isn’t the first internet star to come under fire for purported mistreatment of their pets; most notably, Twitch streamer Alinity Divine sparked backlash after tossing her pet cat over her head during a July 2019 broadcast, even prompting an outcry from PETA and an investigation from the Saskatoon SPCA. In spite of the outrage, the organization found “no malicious intent” regarding Alinity’s treatment of her animals — but unlike the case of Zoe Laverne, this is an incident the internet won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Laverne herself has returned from a social media hiatus, and appears to be unbothered by the accusations against her, even having made up with D’Amelio for her past comments.

TikTok Star Zoe Laverne admits she “caught feelings” for underage fan – Dexerto
TikTok Star Zoe Laverne admits she “caught feelings” for underage fan Instagram: Zoe LaverneTikToker Zoe Laverne has spoken out after facing a huge backlash from multiple leaked videos showing her allegedly kissing an underage fan. Earlier this week a video surfaced online showing 19-year-old Zoe and a 13-year-old called Connor exchanging a kiss, confirming previous accusations from ex-boyfriend Cody Orlove and Amber VanPelt. In the days before, leaked Instagram messages showed that Cody and Amber raised concerns over “very intense” interactions with Connor. Zoe had previously denied allegations of a relationship with an underage influencer. Despite leaving Instagram in September following a lip-syncing controversy, Zoe appears to have created, and now runs, a fandom Instagram account called “zlpfandom2.0.” Shortly after the videos leaked, she explained via the account that she would be taking a break from social media, but did not address the issue. Her mom, however, did come online to share her thoughts and defended Zoe’s relationship with Connor, saying “Anybody can reach over and kiss somebody. They’re best friends.” On October 28, Zoe finally addressed the videos on the fandom Instagram account. She wrote, “I would like to say I am aware of what was leaked.. but Connor was not raped, etc. Connor and I kissed yes.. never had a relationship but we did catch feelings for each other after being so close. These videos were from months ago and we both realized it was wrong and we both cut it off. She explained that she understood the ramifications of her actions, adding, “before anything was leaked I did tell his mom we kissed. She wasn’t happy obviously but she understood that we are both teenagers and that feelings can be caught. “I am aware that I am an adult and I am aware that I have done something wrong and I am very sorry for what I have done. Connor and I will [livestream] together as soon as this all calms down and explain ourselves.” She also confirmed that the situation has been settled and the two have separated. “Connor and I have had no communication for 3 days now. We are still friends but we think it’s best to stop talking and work on each other’s mental health and spend time with our families” Despite the very serious controversy, Zoe’s TikTok account continues to grow above 17 million followers.

TikTok star Willy Wonka responds to outrage over “messed up” video – Dexerto
TikTok star Willy Wonka responds to outrage over “messed up” video Instagram: willywonkatiktokWilly Wonka, a huge TikTok star with 14 million followers on the app, has responded to accusations of racism after uploading a video that many argued amounted to an offensive stereotype of Hispanic people. Willy Wonka – real name Duke Depp – received backlash across TikTok on Twitter after he uploaded a video making light of Spanish culture before deleting it with seemingly no further comment. The video was a response to the question of whether he speaks Spanish. It depicted him eating salsa and nachos while traditional Spanish music played in the background. The video in turn received a lot of backlash from fans, with users on TikTok expressing their disappointment. One user said that they “weren’t going to forget about this one”, while another despaired that they were “rooting for” Wonka before this video came out. While users on Twitter moved to defend Wonka – with several claiming that he was “just having fun”, another explained that the reason he was experiencing backlash wasn’t for speaking the Spanish language, but for the way he employed Spanish stereotypes into the video. https://www.instagram.com/p/CF0eDlNleDU/ One user said: “[I]magine if he did it in Chinese while eating rice and playing Mulan on the background it is kinda messed up ain’t it? [sic]” Hear me out tho the problem isn’t that he spoke Spanish it’s that he used stereotypes on his video imagine if he did it in Chinese while eating rice and playing Mulan on the background it is kinda messed up ain’t it ? — PapaConda (@CondaPapa) October 2, 2020 WillyWonkaTikTok responds to backlash Eventually, after fans on TikTok criticized him for “deleting the video and saying nothing”, the 19-year-old from Utah later apologized for the video in the comments of a TikTok and on Twitter. In the apology, which is the same across both platforms, he says that he is “so so sorry” about the video, and that “[l]ooking back on the video now [he] absolutely understand[s] why the video was wrong.” I am so so sorry about my “spanish speaking video” on Tiktok. Looking back on the video now I absolutely understand why the video was wrong. To anyone who I hurt with the video I apologize, and I promise to be better. — Willy Wonka Tiktok / Duke (@WonkaTiktok) October 1, 2020 He leaves with a pr0mise to be “better”, but for many people this still wasn’t enough. TikTok user Tyler Stone uploaded a video slamming his “half-assed” apology, while another user said in the video comments that he should “just make an apology video” if he truly wants to make things right. His apology also raised the question of who the apology was for, with one user mocking how people were “saying it’s okay and ya’ll aren’t even Hispanic [sic]”, while another on Twitter said that “if you aren’t Hispanic, you have NO opinion on if it’s okay to do that.” if you aren’t hispanic, you have NO opinion on if it’s okay to do that. it’s stereotypical to us hispanics which is pretty close to racist so please understand more about stereotyping races or keep your mouth shut when it’s not your race❤️ — ♡ mikayla ♡ am (@quaradize) October 2, 2020 Meanwhile, on Instagram, users moved to defend Wonka. Several users said that although they were of Hispanic heritage, they didn’t find the video offensive, while another user said that they “feel like cancel culture just like to cancel people.” However, one Instagram user argued that “nobody was trying to cancel him”, and that people are “just tryna hold him accountable.” Whatever you think of the video, let’s hope that Wonka is able to learn from this situation.

She said that he “never asked” for her age and always requested explicit photos. It then transpired that Lopez had been marking tweets containing the incriminating video under “hidden replies” without directly addressing the allegations. So I think I have every f*cking right to be like, ‘Hi, are we on the same level, or am I wasting my time?” Commenters wasted no time calling her out for this tactic, with many labeling Franklyn a “gold-digger.” Still, others shared what their reactions would be in this situation, with one guy saying he would “show her my account balance, then get up and leave.” “Skip the flowers,” another said. “Bring an audited tax return.” “This is where the guy goes to the bathroom and doesn’t come back,” yet another person commented. This is where the guy goes to the bathroom and doesn’t come back. — Martin Matthews (@1MartinMatthews) August 29, 2023 This isn’t the first time a gal’s dating strategy has sparked a viral conversation. Earlier this month, a woman took social media by storm for claiming that she uses Linkedin to filter potential suitors —something a guy got major flak for doing back in February.

TikTok star slammed for “tone-deaf” sponsored video promoting The Color Purple – Dexerto
TikTok star slammed for “tone-deaf” sponsored video promoting The Color Purple TikTok: theeofficialjujuA TikTok star has been slammed after making a promotional video for 2023’s The Color Purple that many felt was “tone-deaf” and “out of touch.” 2023’s The Color Purple is a musical coming-of-age period drama that follows the life of an African American woman living in the South during the early 1900s. Based on the 1982 book of the same name, the story details the struggles faced by the protagonist with heavy topics including sexual assault, race and racism, sexism, gender roles, spirituality, and violence. This latest adaption is set for release in the US on December 25, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures. However, the production company’s marketing choices have caused a stir after one TikTok star found herself in hot water following her “tone-deaf” sponsored video for the film. Mirta Miler, who goes by ‘mimiermakeup‘, came under fire after promoting the film by dying a wig purple and putting together an outfit based on the color. She also called the story “heartwarming” to the surprise of shocked viewers. “What movie did you watch? ‘Cause it couldn’t have been the same Color Purple that I watched,” TikTok user ‘theeofficialjuju‘ said in a stitch responding to Miler’s video. She went on to call out Warner Bros. Pictures for not partnering with a black creator considering the film chronicles the life of a black woman and features a predominantly black cast. “I noticed a lot of ‘influencers’ are promoting the movie. Yet all of the videos are about the color rather than the story,” one person commented. A third said, “She didn’t do research and disrespected what the movie was about.” Miler has since removed the sponsored video and posted an apology in which she said, “I am not making this video to justify my stupidy or unprofessionalism, I am making this video to take accountability… me as a content creator absolutely did not do my job, and my job is to educate myself about the content I post — especially sponsored content.” Stating there was no “justification for being ignorant”, Miler went on to say, “The only thing that I feel like it’s a right thing to do is to be absolutely embarrassed and take accountability for my ignorance and apologize directly to the black community for being tone deaf and insensitive.” Promising she would not be accepting compensation from Warner Bros. for the deleted TikTok, Miler’s video was met with a positive reception, with users claiming her apology felt “genuine”. One person wrote, “I’m happy she removed it. She saw she was wrong and corrected it. That’s more than most of these ‘influencers.’” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

TikTok star reveals she spends $2,400 a month on her looks Blair Walnut/TikTokTikTok star Blair Walnuts has shocked fans after revealing she spends over $2,400 per month on her looks alone. She also breaks down how much each of her beauty treatments has cost her. Makeup, hair, nails – they all cost money, and it can be all too easy to aspire to be or even compare your image with that of a celebrity. And with influencer culture firmly on the rise, it’s now not just A-listers who are unlocking these expensive beauty regimes – it’s seemingly “regular” people, too. TikTok star Blair Walnuts, who has over 1.6 million followers on the app, has recently revealed the staggering amounts she spends on her looks, which includes a monthly cost of $2,400 for different treatments, as a way to be more transparent with her followers. “I hate that we have grown up with celebrities, pretending that their enhancements, and their very graceful aging are all attributed to their lucky genetics. No, Jennifer Lopez is not using olive oil on her skin, it’s probably a facelift,” she captioned her post. Here’s her breakdown of the thousands of dollars she has spent on her looks, which include plastic surgery, botox, and salon visits. TikToker Blair walnuts breaks down her beauty costs The video started with Blair posing for the camera in a video snippet as quotes from fans show up on the screen, all complimenting her appearance. “I wish I could look like you,” one comment read, as another said: “I’m ugly compared to you.” The video then changed to several photos and video clips of herself, from getting a nose job to getting her hair done, where she went on to explain how much money she had spent to look the way she looks. Blair revealed that she’s spent $10,000 on plastic surgery, $6,000 of which went to a boob job she had done 10 years ago. She has also had a nose job done. She’s dropped another $2,500 on Botox and filler, which are one-off expenses. She then gets into the amount she spends a month on things like her hair, nails, and a personal trainer. Blair claims her hair costs $2,000 a month, while her nails are much less expensive at $300 every month. She also spends $100 per personal trainer session, making her monthly costs at least $2,400, depending on how often her personal trainer sessions are. The influencer was showered in positive comments from viewers who all found it nice that she was so open about “I love how transparent you are! This really helps ppl with body image. You were fire then, now and forverrr,” one person wrote. A second person said: “Mad respect for posting this” while a third person wrote: “Appreciate the transparency from you always queen.” However, not everyone was on board. “This just seems like you’re bragging about the amount of money you have,” another person wrote. “[You’re] encouraging people to get all this work done in order to be pretty and relevant.” Blair has previously been known for calling the internet a scam, and that nothing ever is as it seems online. In a series called “exposing this influencer”, Blair is seen calling out different “catfishs” – herself – for the photos she published online as she posed in a way that hid her belly curves and shows off her most flattering angles.

TikTok star Sabrina Quesada explains why she’s “not ashamed” of plastic surgery – Dexerto
TikTok star Sabrina Quesada explains why she’s “not ashamed” of plastic surgery Instagram: sabriquesadaTikToker Sabrina Quesada has said that she’s “not ashamed” of the plastic surgery she’s had done, after social media star Valeria Arguelles appeared to shade the work she’d had done. While TikTok has been a great platform for boosting a variety of talent and spreading their name across the internet, the sheer amount of users on the app and the growing number of creators also comes with its drawbacks. Many creators often find themselves being compared to others, and with the camera on them every day, they are left open to criticism from haters. Not a Content House’s Sabrina Quesada and social media star Valeria Arguelles are two stars who have been compared to each other on multiple occasions on social media, as was shown by a comment a user left under one of Valeria’s TikToks. “Sab was right when she said Valeria was copying her,” they wrote. Valeria herself replied to the comment by saying, “my eyes are real, my lips are real, my hair is real. I don’t copy anyone. Don’t get it twisted please.” View this post on Instagram After this was posted to popular Instagram tea page ‘tiktokroom’ another fan commenter wrote, “not her shaming someone for getting plastic surgery,” to which Valeria then replied, “I got surgery too lmao, no shame here.” View this post on Instagram Sabrina then posted on her Instagram story to clear up the situation regarding her own surgery. “I have never lied about anything I’ve gotten done, and I’m not ashamed of it. I’m a more confident person in my own skin now.” Continuing, she said, “there is no shame in surgery or doing something for yourself to make YOU happy. I love you guys and you’re all beautiful.” She then posted a picture of herself, explaining to fans exactly what work she’s had done. “This is me now. To make it clear, I have had a nose job, lip fillers, and I have extensions in my hair.” However, not every fan was taking sides, with one user posting a comment that read “Bruh this sh*t is so childish. All these comments, ‘Sab is copying Val,’ ‘Val is copying Sab.’ Literally MILLIONS of people have blonde hair/extensions, get lip filler, and wear colored contacts… Does that mean they are both copying every other b**ch with those things?” It’s clear that some fans are ready to be done with the constant comparisons between social media stars.

TikTok star Renata Ri responds to racism allegations over “ugly black men” comment – Dexerto
TikTok star Renata Ri responds to racism allegations over “ugly black men” comment TikTok: riwwwRussian TikTok star and Instagram influencer Renata Valliulina has claimed that a clip alleging she said “ugly black men” was actually mistranslated, denying she made the racist remark. Valliulina, who goes by just Renata Ri or ‘riwww’, was accused of making a racially insensitive comment, after a clip was translated, claiming she said that while she was in a foreign country, there were only “ugly black men.” Being asked about her dating life on a Russian show, the translation claimed that she responded “I traveled for a year. There were only ugly black men.” The video was posted to TikTok by numerous accounts, accusing Renata of being racist. Renata responds to racism accusations After seeing the backlash, Renata posted a response on her Instagram Story. In it, she argues that the clip was mistranslated and that she did not make a comment about “a specific race being ugly.” “I would do a live to address this, but my English is not great and this is a sensitive topic so I wouldn’t want to say anything in an incorrect matter [sic]. “However, whoever translated this interview did a very poor job. In the Russian language with the proper context I was saying that I was stranded in a foreign country surrounded by foreigners far from my home. Nowhere did I say anyone was ugly, nor did I ever mention anything about people from a specific race being ugly.” However, Russian speakers did not agree with Renata’s claim that the clip was mistranslated, and instead, say that it was accurate. “I speak Russian and she is lying,” one commenter replied. Another responded “Does she not know people speak Russian? BABE I KNOW WHAT YOU SAID.” In Russian, the most commonly used word for a black person is ‘Negr/Negry’, which is generally not deemed offensive, but is simply the equivalent of “black.” However, Russian speakers claim that Renata used “negra” (Russian: негра), which is the offensive version of the term, and can be heard in the clip. “The translation is correct. (I speak Russian) She said the n word instead of black men,” a Russian speaker responded. Renata has over 13.2 million followers on TikTok, and her short videos regularly cross over into millions of views. She is also popular on Instagram, with 500,00 followers, and her previous 2 million follower account is no longer available.

TikTok star Quinton Griggs explains why he’s leaving Sway House – Dexerto
TikTok star Quinton Griggs explains why he’s leaving Sway House Instagram: qgriggss[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star Quinton Griggs has revealed why he, Griffin Johnson and more are leaving the Sway House to kick off the Sway Gaming house — and it definitely raises some questions. Quinton Griggs is one of the biggest stars on TikTok as a member of the Sway House, alongside the likes of Bryce Hall and Anthony Reeves, but he will shortly be leaving the house to pursue something new. It was revealed in an appearance on The Tom Ward Show that Griggs would be leaving the house with Griffin Johnson to go to the then-unannounced Sway Gaming House — something that hadn’t been mentioned before and was brand new information to fans. What was interesting, though, was Quinton’s explanation for why he wanted to move out of the Sway House… The house is made up of a group of men who are all popular on TikTok, especially as they like to toe the line between what is and isn’t acceptable, with action and controversy regularly surrounding their bodies of work. “Me and Griffin are moving into the Sway Gaming house,” he told Ward. “I’m not moving in there to game, it’s mainly for my own sake and my brand.” Laughing about it, Griggs expanded on his point, saying: “As much as I love it here, we’re always in controversy. We’re always doing stupid sh*t, getting ourselves in trouble. I mean, we’re just a group of guys, we’re a frat. I just want to make sure my brand stays safe.” Timestamp at 32:43 for mobile users. Griggs added that he’ll still be heading to the Sway House “four or five times a week,” but how it affects his content overall remains to be seen. It has been confirmed that Quinton will be joined in Sway Gaming by Griffin Johnson, Kio Cyr and Vinnie Hacker. Where this leaves Bryce Hall – who, by the sounds of it, might be one of the last remaining TikTok stars to still reside in the original Sway house – remains to be seen. Could there be a new influx of talent joining Sway?

TikTok star PinkyDoll “doesn’t care” about backlash over viral NPC streams – Dexerto
TikTok star PinkyDoll “doesn’t care” about backlash over viral NPC streams Instagram: pinkydollrealbTikTok star and OnlyFans creator PinkyDoll is speaking out after her viral streams acting like an ‘NPC’ took social media by storm, sparking backlash from some confused viewers. TikTok is home to the next big fads and trends that will inevitably take over social media. From popular air-fryer recipes to catchy dance challenges and more, it’s the number one place for content to go viral. However, the latest trend sweeping across TikTok is confusing some viewers, and it’s often described by netizens using the term ‘NPC,’ or a ‘non-playable character’ in video games. The trend involves a creator streaming on TikTok, where they can receive gifts like roses and sunglasses. Every time they receive one of these virtual items — which cost real-life money to send — they will act out a pantomime or repeat a phrase depending on the sticker that’s sent to them. The result is something that is eerily reminiscent of NPCs in video games, who have scripted responses for actions taken by players. In fact, PinkyDoll (who is largely credited with starting the viral fad) says she was inspired by NPCs from games like Grand Theft Auto. It wasn’t long before a clip from one of her streams went viral on Twitter, sparking a trend that has seen even top-tier influencers like IShowSpeed get in on the action with their own NPC streams. NPC TikToker PinkyDoll hits back at outrage over viral live streams Not everyone is here for this latest virtual bandwagon, though. Many netizens have commented on the bizarre nature of these kinds of streams, including famed internet commentator Moist Critikal, who claimed in a recent video that the fad has simply “gone too far.” These comments aren’t bothering PinkyDoll, though. The TikToker responded to the backlash against her viral streams in an interview with the New York Times on July 17, where she said she doesn’t care about the negative reaction to her content. “I don’t really care what people say about me,” she told the Times. “If they want to think I am this or that, it’s fine with me. At the end of the day, I’m winning.” It’s true; according to PinkyDoll, she’s raking in around $2,000 – $3,000 per TikTok live stream, adding up to $7,000 per day when counting her other revenue streams like OnlyFans. Other influencers hopping on the NPC stream trend have also reported seeing major earnings, such as one creator who said she raked in a jaw-dropping $700 in just three hours.

TikTok star Peach PRC accuses comedian Alex Williamson of “abusing” young women Instagram/peachprc/shooterwilliamsonComedian Alex Williamson has been dropped by his touring company More Talent after TikTok star Peach PRC accused him of grooming and abusing young women. On April 27, Peach PRC posted a long message on Twitter accusing the comedian and her former partner of being “abusive, manipulative and predatory.” In the long post, Peach alleged that Williamson had done “vile” things to her and others, but declined to mention who they were in order to protect their privacy. “I am so tired of being silenced and him thinking he has the power to continue grooming and abusing young vulnerable women and girls right in front of our faces and not face any consequences,” she wrote. “There are real victims involved.” According to the TikTok star, she had an opportunity to speak up previously, but didn’t, and that supposedly resulted in someone else being hurt. “How many times do we have to be shown his derogatory behavior to women?” she asked. “He is literally telling you what he’s doing and disguising it as ‘dark humor.’ This man is sick.” Peach went on to call for Williamson to be “de-platformed,” which would mean having all of his social media accounts blacklisted and banned from numerous platforms. i want to applaud sydney comedy festival and perth comedy festival for removing alex from their shows. this is a huge step towards victims being heard and listened to. i know a lot of women felt uplifted & respected by that decision. this sends a loud message to other abusers. — Peach PRC (@peachprc) April 30, 2021 “I am not scared of you, Alex,” she concluded. “Your empty threats are pathetic and I won’t be silenced anymore.” Since the post, the comedian has been dropped by More Talent plus the Sydney and Perth Comedy festivals. However, Williamson has denied the allegations. As reported by Junkee, Williamson called Peach’s assertions “horse sh*t.” “I’m confused as to where the predatory thing is coming from. What even is the accusation?” he reportedly said in an Instagram story. “If it’s the predatory thing, it’s false. Also, I was 29 at the time. What’s the problem with trying to find a 19-year-old?” “I’m going to say it one more time, I’ve never laid a finger on these girls,” he added. “Someone just said she posted a photo looking like someone had hit her or something, I’ve never laid a finger on anyone. I’ll get a lawyer involved if that’s what she’s really said.”

According to irrascibility, Lopez had invited them to sleep in his bed during a sleepover just ahead of a Hip Hop dance competition in Arizona two years ago, after which the user had asked to cuddle. Irrascibility then claimed that Lopez “forced” their hand onto his genitals after initiating kissing, which the Twitter user explained they didn’t want to do. The user claimed that, at the time of the purported assault, they were 17 and Lopez was 21, rendering irrascibility a minor during the altercation. “He forced my hand on his d**k and wouldn’t let me pull away until I turned the other way around,” the user wrote. “…I am tired of feeling like s**t every time I see his face.” My story with Ondreaz Lopez. He is 23 years old now. pic.twitter.com/8Tk5cjHsAE — al (@iirascibility) June 21, 2020 Additional allegations against the duo have since surfaced online, with irrascibility attaching a series of stories from other purported victims from the Las Vegas area to Twitter. i’ve been having panic attacks all day due to me being scared to share on 1 platform let alone 2. we cannot continue to let these brothers manipulate 15-16 year olds. they have a history of harassment in Las Vegas. prevention immediately, and prevent it fucking now. pic.twitter.com/q5o6oQ4PKc — BLACK LIVES MATTER // ACAB (@iirascibility) June 21, 2020 While Lopez hasn’t responded to the allegations directly, he uploaded several stories addressing his “haters” to his Instagram story, where he seemed to hit back at critics for being upset with his behavior and content. “Sooner or later you’re gonna have to realize I’m the truth,” Lopez said in a video captioned, ‘Dear haters.’ “Until then, you’re gonna keep f**kin,’ shooting yourself in the foot. Trying to f**kin’ be mad about everything I do. Hate everything I do. Find some little thing to talk s**t about.” Lopez’s spiel continued into a conversation about “taking accountability for your own actions” and “finding self-love,” explaining that he wants to give his fans the “best version of himself” and that he isn’t “hiding s**t.” The allegations against Lopez come in wake of a slew of preceding claims against other high-profile content creators. UPDATE: Lopez has since responded to the allegations against him in a series of Note app posts uploaded to Twitter on June 22, where he claimed the Twitter user, now named as “Alessandra,” initiated the kissing and “making out,” explaining that there was “no aggression at all” and that she “at no point” had to “force herself out from under me.” Lopez also claimed that he himself is a two-time victim of sexual assault, ending his post with an apology to Alessandra and urging victims of abuse to reach out for help. TikTok star Noah Beck reacts to rumors of secretly dating Charli D’Amelio – Dexerto
TikTok star Noah Beck reacts to rumors of secretly dating Charli D’Amelio Instagram: Charli D’Amelio / Noah Beck[jwplayer ksH6zuKH] With TikTok queen Charli D’Amelio and ex-boyfriend Lil Huddy officially over, it seems that fans have begun pairing her with collegiate soccer player and Sway House newbie Noah Beck — but shippers might be a bit disappointed at his response to the speculation. Theories and rumors surrounding Beck’s love life recently came to a crescendo due to his collaborative video with YouTube star James Charles, with many pairing the two together after Charles admitted to hooking up with a good-looking TikToker during an episode of the ‘imPaulsive’ podcast. Sway House’s Bryce Hall didn’t help matters by walking in on the two filming their video, joking that the two were “definitely dating” before leaving the set, prompting fans to constantly pester Beck about his relationship status — specifically in relation to James Charles. With Lil Huddy and Charli D’Amelio’s dramageddon in the mix, viewers are speculating that Beck could be dating any number of people. However, both Charles and Beck have shut down any rumors of a romance between them multiple times via social media — but Beck’s own activity online has some fans scratching their heads. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCwlRNgnfTE/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link In fact, many internet sleuths discovered that Beck has liked a number of posts pairing him with other top influencers, including the likes of Charli D’Amelio (a huge name and equally huge possibility, considering her status as a single pringle in wake of the Lil Huddy drama). He addressed the D’Amelio speculation during an interview with paparazzi on July 21, admitting that he’s been a popular item for fan shipping, but isn’t currently involved with anyone in the scene. “I like everyone’s posts and stuff,” he explained when asked about his social media activity and dating life. “I like to put all my friends’ stuff on my story, to give them love, as well. In terms of shipping, I’m just doing me right now, you know?” When prompted with the possibility of going on “double dates” with Griffin Johnson (current boyfriend of Dixie D’Amelio), Beck claimed he “didn’t know, man,” and excused himself — but with the possibility hanging in the air, fans are more anxious than ever for the next development in Charli’s love life.

How do you feel?” Larray questioned. Though Beck or D’Amelio haven’t posted publicly about their split, Larray followed up to Beck’s hesitance to answer: “I mean isn’t it public now?” Responding by saying “ish”, Beck then explained that “I’m living alone right now. I got a new place by myself. TikTok star Nessa Barrett shuts down bizarre ‘spine shortening’ rumors – Dexerto
TikTok star Nessa Barrett shuts down bizarre ‘spine shortening’ rumors Instagram: nessabarrettIf you’re as famous as TikTok influencer Nessa Barrett, rumors and conspiracy theories about you are often part of the territory. However, she has moved quickly to shut down claims circulating online… that she had made her spine shorter. [jwplayer ksH6zuKH] With 10.3 million TikTok followers and 3.6 million Instagram followers, Nessa Barrett is a formidable force on the influencer scene, despite only being 18 years old. As well as being close with members of the Hype House and Sway House, Nessa has made a name for herself with her natural beauty, dance videos and relatable attitude (you have to give her credit for laughing off moments like farting during a live stream). However, her fame has come with a price. Back in July, she was accused of ‘copying’ fellow influencer Madison Beer with her debut single ‘Pain’, and has been open about her mental health issues and struggles with the spotlight. Only recently she publicly begged paparazzi to leave her alone after they photographed her crying in a restaurant. https://twitter.com/nessaabarrett/status/1301217877048078336 Why are people saying Nessa Barrett altered her spine? Standing at a petite 5ft 3, Nessa Barrett’s height has, for some reason, been a huge source of scrutiny among fans. In May, a video with fellow content creator LuvAnthony caused ridicule amongst fans, with many people pointing out the height difference between the two. Does that really look like the height difference between someone 5’11 and 6’ ????? pic.twitter.com/Zoee01fIDS — savannah x (@vannah_martin) May 3, 2020 When she and Anthony quipped that she was 5’11 in the comment section of the video, many people failed to pick up the sarcasm and accused her of lying about her height. With height jokes becoming an unfortunate staple in the comment in lots of Barrett’s content, a bizzare rumor began to circulate claiming that she had shortened her spine. With the rumors intensifying over the last few days, reporters at The Hollywood Fix asked her how she felt about them. Topic starts at 00:39 “I just find it stupid because people know I’m insecure about my height,” Barrett says in response. Brushing it off, she said: “They just want to make jokes about it, but it’s fine.” According to commenters on Instagram, however, these jokes and rumors were anything but fine. “‘Jokes’ that point out people’s insecurities aren’t funny,” one fan wrote. Another pointed out that “saying ‘it’s just a joke’ isn’t going to stop how she [Nessa] feels about her height.” Taking into account some of Nessa Barrett’s struggles in the past, it certainly wouldn’t hurt if everyone was a little bit kinder to her.

TikTok star Nessa Barrett “harassed” after her address leaks – Dexerto
TikTok star Nessa Barrett “harassed” after her address leaks Instagram: nessabarrettTikTok star Nessa Barrett has called out “rude and weird” people harassing her after her address, her phone number and her parents details were leaked online. Nessa has been somewhat of a divisive figure on TikTok in 2020, most notably after she was accused of offending the Muslim community as she danced to a reading from the Quran. That said, the controversy hasn’t halted her progress at all. As of May 28, she has 8.1 million followers on TikTok and 2.2m on Instagram, growing exponentially every day. Regardless of what you think of her videos, though, leaking somebody’s personal contact details is actually illegal in the US, and can cause serious issues for the person being targeted. While sometimes the leaked information comes to nothing, when people have a big platform such as Nessa, fans and haters alike will often target the victim for harassment. Nessa has spoken out about the issue, calling those who are invading her privacy and that of her family “rude and weird.” In a series of tweets posted on May 27, Nessa asked for people to “stop invading privacy,” adding that “my address has fully been leaked… and now people have constantly been banging on the door and taking videos.” https://twitter.com/nessaabarrett/status/1265850811369656320?s=20 Nessa later went on Instagram Live to address the issue, explaining what has happened and saying that she’s “stepping in” because now her family are becoming endangered. View this post on Instagram “My home address has been circling around, my family has been getting harassed,” Barrett explained. She also confirmed that she wasn’t at home, so fans showing up to meet her would be disappointed. It should go without saying that turning up at famous influencers’ houses is almost never a good idea. In December 2019, David Dobrik hit out at fans for showing up at his house, a sentiment commonly shared by top stars.

TikTok star Nathan Triska horrified after discovering hidden camera in AirBnB showerhead TikTok: nathantriska / AirBnBTikTok celebrity Nathan Triska is going viral after claiming he found a hidden camera nestled in the showerhead of his AirBnB — and commenters are mortified. AirBnBs have become a popular alternative to hotels, as they often offer an entire house and other amenities for travelers instead of a single room or suite. However, plenty of globetrotters have expressed their concerns with AirBnBs over the past few years — mainly, that some owners ask their clients to do chores or even add on extra fees. One AirBnB customer, though, was left horrified after discovering something especially unsavory in his lodgings… and it’s going viral. Nathan Triska is a TikTok star with over 10 million followers on the platform who often shares snippets of his day-to-day life with his viewers. Those viewers were left with their jaws on the floor after he claimed to have found a camera hidden in the showerhead at his AirBnB. “I cannot make this up,” a panicked Triska began in a TikTok video uploaded on June 20. “I’m at an AirBnB, and I just hopped out of the shower so fast, because watch. Look at this.” Triska brought his phone camera up close to the showerhead, which showed a blinking blue light inside the mechanism. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Some commenters suggested that the showerhead could have been a broken model that changed color in the past, but Triska claims he’s stayed at this particular AirBnB before and never noticed it. He also claimed that he tried to break open the showerhead to no avail. Triska uploaded a part two to his original video, which has garnered over 3.5 million views at the time of writing. In the clip, he says that he attempted to contact the owner, but got no response. He then claimed that he was “disconnected” from the owner’s “communication network” before receiving a threatening text from a random number that said he would “regret posting that to TikTok.” That’s not all; he also claims that one of his car tires was slashed amidst these events, alongside cracking the rim of the tire. “Moral of the story: Be very careful where you stay and who you stay with.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. It’s unclear what’s next for Triska, but commenters are offering advice to the TikToker in light of his latest video, telling him to get a lawyer and even contact law enforcement. This isn’t the first time a traveler has purportedly found a hidden camera in their AirBnB; recently, police responded to claims that another customer had purportedly found cameras in the residence, but ultimately “did not find any hidden or undisclosed cameras.”

One user commented on the TikTok, saying that 16-year-old D’Amelio “had to get used to this” if she is “hanging with 20-year-olds”, to which Lilsmize responded by asking: “So that makes it okay for him to slap her around?” Another said that Charli “looked embarassed” after being hit, with a further user remarking that they didn’t know “why people like Larray”. However, it didn’t take long for Larray himself to respond to these accusations, as he clapped back in a comment on the video to defend himself. He claimed that Charli “asked [him] to do it”, and that Lilsmize needs to “find a better hobby than being bitter at everyone else living their lives”. A lot of fans in turn rallied in support around Larray, sharing his sentiments. Some users remarked that he didn’t even hit Charli “that hard”, while several others pointed out that “this is normal in lots of friendships.” It is clear to see that the TikTok star won’t put up with any drama being spread about him, and that is just another reason why we love him.

TikTok star Lauren Kettering apologizes after filming dog with head stuck in a jar – Dexerto
TikTok star Lauren Kettering apologizes after filming dog with head stuck in a jar YouTube, Instagram: Lauren KetteringPopular TikTok creator Lauren Kettering has released an apology after uploading a video of her dog with its head stuck in a jar — a clip that many critics are labeling as “animal abuse.” Lauren Kettering is a fairly big name on TikTok, boasting over 6.2 million followers and over 300 million likes on the viral video app, alone. While her usual dancing content is generally well-received by her fans, one of her latest (and now-deleted) videos is causing quite a stir online. The video in question showed her dog with its head stuck in a treat jar, who is seemingly unable to get it off on its own. Rather than helping her dog out, Kettering instead films the situation and laughs, captioning the clip: “Watch until the end LMFAO.” This video has caused many critics to speak out against Kettering, who have accused her of animal abuse for recording the situation instead of helping out her pup right away, with some noting that the dog may have suffocated in such a predicament. “Lauren Kettering is disgusting and an animal abuser,” one user said of the situation. “Lauren Kettering’s video made me so sick,” another wrote. “Poor puppy, it couldn’t breathe!” yet another commented. Kettering has since uploaded an apology video, explaining that her dog had gotten its head stuck in the jar on its own and stating that she did not put it in the container, as some viewers speculated. “He does it himself,” she said. “I would never put anything over his head, and Geo took it off right after. It was only for the clip that you guys saw, and we threw it away to the trash chute at that time, to where he can’t get it.” View this post on Instagram The TikToker also posted a written apology to her Instagram Stories, stating that her dog will often poke its head into the treat jar and that her video was cut short, not including the moment where the container was removed. Kettering claimed that her puppy is currently going to training classes, and stated that his “attention span” still needs work — but it doesn’t look like her critics are happy with her explanation, as evidenced by scathing comments left underneath the video on Instagram tea pages who are calling for the TikToker to exercise more responsibility with her animals.

He is well-known for his comedy content, and for being a member of popular TikTok collective, the Hype House. He found himself in hot water in July when YouTuber Tyler Oakley slammed Hype House members and associated influencers for hosting a huge party in honor of Larray’s birthday. He told fans that he knows that subject matter isn’t a joke and said “please stop letting my old tweets affect any of you.” Following his first apology, he deactivated his second account. When people weren’t satisfied, he finally took to his main account to form a longer apology. TikTok star Larray addresses high school blackmail allegations – Dexerto
TikTok star Larray addresses high school blackmail allegations Instagram: larrayTikTok star Larri ‘Larray’ Merrit has responded to a series of allegations that suggested he had blackmailed students at his high school with personal photographs, claiming that he had “absolutely nothing to do” with the situation. Larray is a popular TikTok influencer with almost 19 million followers on the platform alone, and millions of followers on other sites like YouTube and Instagram. He’s primarily known for his comic content, and is friends with other huge influencers like the D’Amelio sisters and James Charles. On November 11, a TikTok account by the name of ‘larrayisanabuser’ posted a video that accused Larray of “sexually manipulating and blackmailing” them “along with three other men in high school.” They alleged that in Sophomore years they were added on messaging service Kik by a girl they “thought they knew from Instagram.” As they exchanged flirtatious messages, the girl supposedly asked for revealing pictures, and the student sent them as requested. According to this account, once they’d sent the pictures the girl’s “tone changed.” “This is when she starts to threaten me that if I ‘don’t make out with Larry’ then she’ll send my nudes to the principal and get me expelled.” The account reports that when they confronted the girl about it on Instagram, she claimed she didn’t have a Kik account. The images were reportedly never leaked and they were not contacted by the user again. They also claim that several other boys who attended the same high school have come to them with stories that follow a similar pattern. After the allegations gained traction, Larray released a statement to defend himself, despite being “advised not to speak on the situation.” The TikToker says “I just want to clarify I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I wasn’t well liked in high school, and also had a social media presence at the time, so anyone could have used my name.” He stresses that “I take sh*t like this very seriously, especially since I’m a victim of sexual assault.” He says he’s “not comfortable letting the situation go unacknowledged” and adds that although he “feels bad for what happened” he “can’t take responsibility for something [he] didn’t do.” It’s unclear as to whether the matter has been investigated formally by the authorities.

TikTok star Josh Richards responds after flashing on Instagram live Josh Richards, YouTubePopular TikTok creator Josh Richards went live on Instagram with fellow internet star Griffin Johnson on April 27 when the former suddenly pulled down his pants, flashing his entire audience in real time. The eighteen-year-old TikTokker appeared to follow the format of a popular video trend, where a user will drop their phone and fly into view to sit on the camera — usually with their derriere exposed. However, Richard ultimately ended up showing much more than his backside, which caused such a stir that his name began trending on Twitter. Related — The Secrets to CouRage and Nadeshot’s Success Richards spoke out regarding the incident in a series of Tweets shortly thereafter, writing, “Stop, it’s over,” and, “Yo, kinda legendary tho.” Considering the relatively young age of his online audience, the TikTok star received ample backlash for showing his richard to the world, with many criticizing him over the matter via social media. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_hrDufH141/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link His joking tone soon changed in wake of the criticism, with the star publishing a lengthy apology via Twitter the next morning. “I want to apologize about what happened yesterday during the live,” he wrote. “I have a responsibility because of followers I’ve been blessed with. TikTok star Jack Wright hits out at “toxic” influencers in Los Angeles – Dexerto
TikTok star Jack Wright hits out at “toxic” influencers in Los Angeles Jack Wright YouTubeTikTok superstar Jack Wright has offered his perspective on living in a “toxic” Los Angeles and how influencer culture has affected his life. With over 11.3 million followers on TikTok, you’ll likely have seen Jack Wright emerge onto your FYP at some point. Boasting a further 2.6 million followers across YouTube, Snapchat, and Instagram – Wright is mostly known for his travel videos and comedic clips. In 2019, Wright joined Hype House, which has featured the likes of the D’Amelio sisters and Addison Rae in the past. Having embarked on his podcasting venture, Wright has shared an insight into the life of influencer culture. Jack Wright avoids “backstab” influencer culture amid podcast launch Back in September, Wright launched his new podcast, known as Me Time. Wright explained to The Daily Dot that it is “the perfect podcast to just talk about our mental health and our healthy ways to cope with issues that take place in life, especially being in L.A. and, like, how toxic people can be.” Though Wright has enjoyed success through his viral content, the creator maintains that it is vital not to lose sight of who you are. “It does get so toxic and you do need those people around you. I guess staying true to yourself is the best thing. It’s easy to come to L.A. or become an influencer and kind of change as a person.” The urge to become viral does have its disadvantages, though. “A lot of people have wrong intentions when they move here… they’ll backstab you just cause they aren’t there to be friends with you. It’s to benefit themselves,” Wright said on the nature of influencer culture. “I was in Hype House for probably two and a half years maybe…I think I’ve learned so much from just being in a content house too. It’s very different than living in a normal house with your friends,” Wright said in regard to his time with Hype House. In the future, Wright is looking to expand his career with acting and a potential product line. Wright said he’d like to start “collabing with a chapstick brand, a surfboard brand, or a coffee brand, you know. I think that would be so cool, collabing with one of these brands and kind of putting my own ideas into it.”

TikTok star Jack Wright under fire for comparing Indian cultural attire to ‘Hunger Games’ – Dexerto
TikTok star Jack Wright under fire for comparing Indian cultural attire to ‘Hunger Games’ TikTok: jack.wrightTikTok star Jack Wright is facing criticism for comparing Indian cultural attire to the eye-popping fashion seen in The Hunger Games’ Capitol district. Jack Wright is a popular creator on TikTok, where he boasts over 11 million followers. His videos often garner millions of views each — especially his collabs with other top-tier influencers on the platform. Apparently, Wright is rubbing elbows with some other big names, as well, as he was recently invited by Indian millionaires the Ambani family to attend the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, India. The Ambani Family are some of the richest people in India, with patriarch Mukesh Ambani breaking into the world’s Top 10 richest people back in 2020. TikTok star sparks backlash for comparing Indian attire to Hunger Games fashion Wright recorded his journey to Mumbai on his TikTok account, where he showed off his outfit for the celebratory gala… but his comments about his attire are drawing some ire from critical viewers. In a short clip, Wright said he was “able to attend the actual Panem Capitol party” and showed off a slew of stunning dresses and ensembles he saw during the event, set to the music from Caesar Flickerman’s talk show from the Hunger Games films. However, viewers didn’t appear to like this particular comment. Users flooded Wright’s TikTok clip with criticisms of his comparison, outraged that the influencer would compare Indian traditional attire to over-the-top costumes from a sci-fi film. “Hunger Games? Bestie, this is my culture!” one user wrote with a frowning face. “Panem Capitol party? Be f*cking for real,” another said. “Do you understand how much Bollywood royalty was there?” another asked. “Love you Jack, and I know you didn’t mean anything negative, but that’s a weird comparison,” yet another commenter said. However, Jack seems to have walked back his comments in his latest video, which he uploaded with the caption: “Indian fashion is so top tier.” In this particular video, the comments are more mixed, with some defending Jack from the outrage his previous post incited. This isn’t the first time a TikToker has come under fire for disrespecting a culture different from their own; TikTok star Nessa Barrett famously drew backlash after twerking to the sound of the Quran being read aloud back in 2020.

TikTok star Indiana fuels rumors that she’s joining the Hype House – Dexerto
TikTok star Indiana fuels rumors that she’s joining the Hype House Instagram: indianaRising TikTok star Indiana Massara has fueled rumors that she’s joining the Hype House after sharing a cryptic video hinting at her next move. The Hype House has been undergoing some major changes throughout the last couple of months, with the departure of Charli and Dixie D’Amelio making waves among fans, before rumors continued to swirl that Addison Rae and Avani would also be leaving the collective. That said, the group is clearly looking to fill out the numbers being lost, and it looks like they may have found the next person to join in Indiana. Indiana has 2.8 million followers on TikTok, becoming popular for her dancing and comedy videos, a surefire recipe for success for many TikTok users. The post in question has already clocked in around 500,000 likes just 16 hours after being posted, and garnered a huge response to the community, so let’s take a look. In the video, Indiana shares a collection of photos of various TikTok stars, including the likes of Tayler Holder and Tony Lopez, who are some of the most popular Hype House members. The caption for the video makes it clear that Indiana is going to be joining a TikTok house of some sort, be it Hype House or otherwise. It says: “I’m about to live with some of these people… who do you think they are?” Naturally, it caused much discussion in the comments, but many believe that it’s clear she’s going to be joining the Hype House at some point soon. Some fans aren’t convinced, though. With ongoing discussions about a Sway girls house – a direct partner of the Sway LA group, which houses the likes of Josh Richards and the recently-arrested Bryce Hall – many believe that could be her destination. That said, fans were quick to point out that since the video didn’t include a photo of Nessa Barrett, who has been facing some issues herself, it likely wouldn’t be Sway Girls, given the fact that Nessa would be a prominent figure in the group. While it’s not yet clear, we should expect an update from Indiana soon, telling fans exactly what is going on and where to see her creating content in the near future.

TikTok star Gail Lewis returns to Walmart after viral quitting video and fans love it TikTok: Gail LewisTikTok star Gail Lewis made a bit of an emotional return to the Walmart store that she quit after 10 years, and viewers also got a pretty big kick out of it. If you’ve taken any sort of deep dive into TikTok over the last few years, you’ve more than likely come across Gail Lewis (fluffygaileena) and her Walmart lore. The TikToker went super viral at the end of November as she signed off from her associate job for the last time and Gail called it the “end of an era,” welling up on the way back to her car. Her video picked up over 32 million views as viewers became obsessed with her story and history around her job. Well, just a few weeks after leaving for the last time, Gail decided to return to the Illinois store and viewers are equally obsessed – even if it’s not as emotional as the exit video. Gail Lewis returns to Walmart weeks after emotional exit That’s right, Gail posted a video about her return on December 12 and it’s already blown up in a big way – racking up over 18.5 million views in less than 24 hours. “I’m just doing some shopping, that’s all I’m doing, but boy oh boy do I miss my people, those my family, those are my friends,” she said. Gail also pointed out the spot where she gave her final sign-off and noted she’d bumped into a few of her former co-workers. “I saw a couple of my friends that I used to work with and they were actually really happy to me and I was happy to see them too!” she added. Of course, her former co-workers weren’t the only ones happy to see her back, as viewers were delighted to see Gail make her return. “The GOAT has to make sure operations are running smoothly,” said one. “Messi returning to Barcelona type of energy from Gail here,” added another. “How am I this deep in Gail Lewis lore?” another joked. Given the way things have gone, this video will probably outdo her original one in terms of views, cementing it as one of TikTok’s favorite stories of the year.

TikTok star experiences insane accident after getting ear pierced – Dexerto
TikTok star experiences insane accident after getting ear pierced Sissy Sheridan, YouTube[jwplayer nRNmFBgY]16-year-old TikTok creator and Nickelodeon host Sissy Sheridan shocked her 2.9 million followers with a tearful video after getting her ear pierced at a local Claire’s outlet — which also involved the unfortunate placement of her face mask. Many popular accessory chains, such as Clarie’s and Icing, offer on-site ear piercing services, and can be found in American malls alongside jewelry and other products. Sheridan, who is not only a TikTok star but also host of Nickelodeon’s web series “DIY with Me,” opted to get one from her local Icing store on June 29 — but instead of a successful piercing, the content creator suffered an unfortunate accident. Considering current world events, it comes as a welcome sight that Sheridan chose to wear her face mask to her appointment. However, it turns out the mask became an unwilling participant in the process, itself. In an emotionally-charged TikTok video, Sheridan explained that her face mask had been pierced into her ear, causing considerable pain. “I just got my third earring done,” she sobbed, “And the lady pierced my ear on my mask. I can’t get it off! It hurts so bad. I hate you Clarie’s! Look at it! The white one! It’s stuck on my ear and they look so ugly! I just want to take them out.” In a follow-up TikTok video after the initial shock, the star creator also claimed a leftover piece from her mask was lodged inside of her ear even after it was cut out, likely due to the intense pressure of the piercing gun. “I don’t know what to do right now because it’s really hurting,” she explained. “But it’s fine, because, I don’t know. I’m finna get a refund doe!” The TikToker has since requested a refund from Icing for the cost of her $73 piercing, which the store has reportedly claimed it will only cash out when the earring itself is returned to the location. That’s not all; Sheridan even shared the moment the painful incident occurred to her TikTok account, where she exclaimed, “Ooh, that one really hurt.” Needless to say, her pain stands as a useful reminder to those looking to get a piercing on the cheap: it’s always better to go to an accredited piercing parlor, instead.

TikTok star Emilyzugay roasts “bad” Spotify Wrapped designs with her own ‘ugly’ take – Dexerto
TikTok star Emilyzugay roasts “bad” Spotify Wrapped designs with her own ‘ugly’ take Instagram: Emily Zugay / SpotifyTikTok star Emilyzugay, who went viral in September 2021 after companies used her “ugly” versions of their logos, roasted Spotify Wrapped’s designs by making them even worse. Spotify Wrapped, a viral marketing campaign that has taken place in December every year, provides users with a summary of their data over the past year. It also lets them share it on social media as a means to advertise the platform. However, users criticized the design choices used this year, claiming the font looked “ugly” and was “agitating” to read. Some believe it was done intentionally to elicit a reaction, while others think it was an oversight. Either way, it became a huge talking point. TikTok star Emilyzugay, who went viral after companies used her comically “ugly” designs, weighed in on the debacle and roasted the designs by making some ‘improvements.’ “The amount of people who have tagged me in this and asked me if I did it,” said Emily. “Do you really think I would let this slide? “This legibility is pretty bad. I get it. I’m here to help. I just can’t believe that you guys would think that I’d do something like this.” Emily added her own touches to the colors and spacing on the designs, making them hilariously worse. “I kept the colors. Fixing the spacing issue was pretty simple. The letters were too far apart,” she explained. “This is what I was made to do. I’m good. Here’s a side-by-side comparison so you can see how much of an improvement mine was.” Emily’s post has drawn almost 4 million views, 500,000 likes, 5,000 shares, and 2000 comments since it was uploaded. She feels pretty good about the ‘improvements’ and hopes the company will consider her for next year’s campaign. “Maybe next year Spotify!” she said.

TikTok star Ellie Zeiler faces backlash after White House briefing on gas prices TikTok: elliezeilerEllie Zeiler, who was once known for her likeness to TikTok’s biggest star Charli D’Amelio, has found herself in the center of a storm after posting a video about the reasons for soaring gas prices – a break from her usual dance content. The TikTok star boasts over 10 million followers on the platform, mostly for her dancing and lip-syncing content (and an uncanny resemblance to Charli D’Amelio), and has only just turned 18. But, along with other influencers, Zeiler was chosen as one of the big TikTokers by the White House, who were briefed on the Ukraine invasion. In her video, Ellie breaks down inflation and supply-demand economics, as well as how Russia’s role in global gas supply has been impacted. She concludes with a call to action for followers to donate to help in the refugee crisis. Despite only being less than a minute long, the video sparked controversy, both in her own comment section and on wider social media. “People getting their political information from here is exactly why our world is so messed up right now,” one commenter wrote. Another posted “Saying exactly what government tells you to say is called propaganda.” On Twitter, some have claimed that Zeiler and other TikTok influencers are being “manipulated” into spreading these messages. SNL spoofs TikTok White House meeting The controversy blew up further when SNL made a skit of the President addressing the TikTokers. Speaking to Cheddar, Zeiler responded to the backlash. “I watched the skit, and it was funny. Then you turn it off and you’re like ‘but this is true – people are legitimately getting their media and information from social media.” She also joked that they should have hired her to make it even more real. TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio signs major record deal with Hitco label – Dexerto
TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio signs major record deal with Hitco label YouTube: Dixie D’Amelio[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]Dixie D’Amelio is more than a TikTok superstar — she’s also a singer, having released her first single last month, and now, she’s scored a huge record deal with a major label in the industry. Dixie D’Amelio turned heads — and inspired more than a few good-natured memes — across the internet upon the release of her debut single ‘Be Happy’ on July 1, showing off an impressive singing voice as scouted out by YouTuber James Charles. However, it seems the TikToker has a bright future in the music world outside of her single song, having signed to major record label Hitco on August 7. D’Amelio broke the news with an enthusiastic Instagram photo the same day, posing with the famous American record label exec ‘LA Reid.’ “Excited to announce that I have joined the Hitco music family,” D’Amelio wrote. “Thank you LA Reid!” “So excited to welcome Dixie D’Amelio into the Hitco music family,” Reid wrote in a similar post. “Special thank you to the D’Amelio family and team!” https://www.instagram.com/p/CDmLuVJpWlb/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link This move comes after massive her joint collaboration alongside sister Charli D’Amelio for makeup brand Morphe, with the sisters unveiling a unique product line that reflects their own personal “no makeup, makeup” style. That’s not all; Dixie has also graduated from high school in the midst of these major life developments. How many of us can say we were so successful at 18 years old? “In my five years of high school, my entire life changed twice, and I’m so grateful for each of these experiences, even though at the time I would’ve wished for nothing more than to not be here,” Dixie wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m so proud of myself and all of the ways I persevered through so many different challenges.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CDXI4yrD9Kh/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Other TikTokers have congratulated Dixie on her success, including Addison Rae, the platform’s second-most-followed creator and its highest-earning user. With so much happening for the D’Amelio sisters, there’s no telling what’s in store for the net’s most popular duo in the future.

TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio’s favorite content creator might surprise you – Dexerto
TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio’s favorite content creator might surprise you Instagram: dixiedamelioTikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has revealed a surprising choice for who her favorite content creator is – and it’s not her little sister Charli! Charli D’Amelio has over 40 million followers on TikTok, making her the most-followed account on the platform, and while Dixie is obviously a huge supporter of her younger sister, she’s revealed that her favorite creator isn’t even a TikTok native – but can be found on YouTube instead. Dixie herself has amassed almost 20m followers on the platform, more than how much the YouTuber has, and her choice might be somewhat controversial due to their previous interactions in the past. While filming her first-ever Twitter Q&A for a YouTube video, one of the questions asked of Dixie is who her favorite creator is, and she doesn’t hesitate in saying that she’s actually a huge fan of Cody Ko. She said: “He actually roasted my Dad in one of his podcasts, but he’s still my favorite. He makes me laugh, I think he’s very funny, I’ve watched him forever.” The choice is controversial purely for the reason she says: back in December, Cody Ko roasted her father in a podcast, saying he’s “the weirdest Dad on TikTok” for a perhaps-too-open video he posted at the start of November. (Timestamp 3:02 for mobile viewers) More recently, Cody Ko took aim at the entire Hype House – a collective of TikTok stars including Dixie, Charli, as well as the likes of Chase Hudson and Addison Rae – calling their content “cringe.” This doesn’t seem to have swayed Dixie’s opinion of him, and clearly remains a huge fan of his funny content to this day despite what could have certainly been drama between the two parties. It would definitely be interesting to see the two create videos together, especially given the history between them, but it’s safe to say Cody might not be up for it.

TikTok star DigitalPrincxss responds after arrest footage surfaces on YouTube Instagram: DigitalPrincxssTikTok star Marissa ‘DigitalPrincxss’ Cloutier has responded after footage of her being arrested due to her son being found wandering the street alone was uploaded to YouTube. In August 2021, TikToker and OnlyFans model DigitalPrincxss was arrested after her son was found wandering around outside after she left him home alone. Child abuse charges against Cloutier were eventually dropped and the topic began to fade away until bodycam footage of her arrest was uploaded to YouTube in early July 2023. DigitalPrincxss has uploaded a TikTok video addressing the footage just days after it went viral, hitting back at some of the comments she’s received since the incident. DigitalPrincxss responds after arrest footage surfaces Uploaded on July 11, 2023, Cloutier’s video shared her thoughts about the situation as well as some of the comments she received. “I made a bad choice that cost me a lot, but not nearly as much as it could have. Watching that footage was like looking into a window at a different person. It’s something that will be part of me forever, and I have accepted that,” she said. “I had the mindset for months after I was arrested that my job was the prove to the world that I had changed until there was a moment in therapy where I realized it was my goal to change for my son. “Since then, you don’t hear me talk about it much because it’s not my job to prove to anyone but my son that he’s my priority.” Marissa also confirmed that she was sober when the incident took place, and that she was not out making content for her OnlyFans. She also hit back at a couple of other comments viewers have left about her situation, including one stating she had no remorse for her decision. “I was so sad and angry at myself that I just deflected that into my content for months. It’s hard to watch knowing what I know now, but it’s out there and I can’t do anything about It,” she said. DigitalPrincxss went on to debunk rumors that Child Protection Services has been called on her “many times,” stating that she’s never had an issue outside of that night. “I know I f*cked up, but I’ve raised a smart, talented boy, and I’m proud of that. I owe that to him, and nobody else,” Cloutier added. This video was her first time uploading since the arrest footage found its way to YouTube, and it appears that this will be the last time Marissa will comment on the situation. Many viewers have expressed their distaste for the TikToker in the comments, with many calling her a bad mom for leaving her son alone on that night. TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio responds to “blackfishing” accusations – Dexerto
TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio responds to “blackfishing” accusations Instagram: dixiedamelioAfter photos began to circulate of TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio in which her skin appeared more tanned than usual, some called her out for supposedly trying to look black, and she has now addressed the criticism. This is by no means the first time that an influencer has come under fire for dancing the line between acceptable and ‘offensive’ tans. Earlier in August, former Vine star and now YouTuber Gabbie Hanna returned from an internet break with a very dark tan, causing comparison pictures to circulate and accusations of “blackfishing” to emerge. “Blackfishing” is a term used to refer to the use of heavy and excessive tan or makeup to appear to more naturally dark skinned. It is often considered a form of ‘blackface.’ A comparison picture had emerged showing two images of Dixie side by side. In one shot she appeared to be more pale, and in the other she was more tanned. The image also included color swatches of both images to show how different they were. “Hi Dixie, I love and admire you a lot,” one fan began, “but blackfishing/ blackface is totally offensive and disrespectful to the black community. Please explain yourself and apologize for this situation.” . @dixiedamelio Hi Dixie, I love you and I admire you a lot, but as a fan I came to ask for a pronouncement on this! blackfishing / blackface is totally offensive and disrespectful to the black community. TikTok star Daisy Keech reveals why she’s suing her Hype House friends – Dexerto
TikTok star Daisy Keech reveals why she’s suing her Hype House friends Daisy Keech/Hype HousePopular TikToker Daisy Keech has revealed why she has left the Hype House and why she is suing her fellow founders Thomas Petrou and Chase Hudson, also known as Lil Huddy. TikTok stars are rapidly taking over the internet with names such as Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae bringing many more eyes to the popular video-sharing app. When TikTok was first starting to pick up steam, many of the platform’s top stars came together under one roof, starting a new collective known as the Hype House to produce more content and collaborations. Despite having a massive presence on the app and many of its members gaining tens of millions of followers, Daisy Keech, a founding member of the house, revealed that there was a feud going on behind the scenes and opened up about much of the drama in her YouTube video on March 28. She claimed that, although she had invested a large sum to get a deposit down on the property, now known as the Hype House, and founded the collective alongside Thomas Petrou and Chase Hudson, she was being left out of the decision making behind the collective’s opportunities such as brand deals and press events. The TikTok star also explained that she, along with other stars of the group, had no access to any of the Hype House’s social media channels and that she felt as if she was being manipulated for her audience of over 3 million followers. “We can’t ever have any group decisions, he somehow has authority over everything, he has that because he is the only one with access to all of the social media accounts and emails,” she added while discussing Thomas Petrou’s control over the group. She also claimed that Petrou would even turn down opportunities for other members of the house despite them wanting to take part in them, adding that he had said “It’s not your decision, I make all of the decisions around here,” during heated debates with other Hype House stars. She later revealed that after she had tried to confront him about the exclusion, he attempted to turn other members of the house against her and expressed that she felt “disrespected, degraded and used.” Daisy continued to reveal more about the dynamic of the Hype House and it was reported by Forbes, that she has now taken legal action against her former housemates, suing both Petrou and Hudson, for their acts in excluding her from the collective’s business decisions.

TikTok star Coco Bliss arrested after viral fight with Grace in NY hotel – Dexerto
TikTok star Coco Bliss arrested after viral fight with Grace in NY hotel TikTok: imcocobliss, iheartmemphisProminent TikTok creator Coco Bliss was put in handcuffs after getting into a physical altercation with fellow influencer Grace at a hotel in New York City. The beef between TikTok stars Coco Bliss and Grace just took a major turn after the two got into a physical fight seemingly on the day of September 6, 2023. Both women are popular on TikTok, with Coco (who is also a music artist) boasting 3 million followers on the site and Grace garnering a little over one million. These two stars have been at each other’s throats for some time now — and things turned up a notch when both women realized they’d be staying in the same hotel in New York City. Viral fight between Coco Bliss and Grace explained The issue allegedly started when Bliss was getting into an elevator at the same time Grace was getting out of it. As told by Coco: “She tried to pull out her phone to make a joke out of me. So I knocked her phone out of her hand and we started to go at it.” Fans were first alerted to their fight after Grace posted a video holding part of a red wig with the caption: “Guess who.” Coco was wearing a red wig in a TikTok video prior to Grace’s upload, so fans were instantly speculating that the two had finally settled their feud. Videos of their scuffle surfaced online, which Coco posted to TikTok, showing the gals going full WWE in front of the elevator. Other videos also show Coco with a significant cut on her forehead and missing her wig, while others show Grace threatening to sue her over the incident. For Coco’s part, she doesn’t seem too put out by the situation, saying in a follow-up video: “All you did was snatch my wig and scratch my face, babe.” Coco also explained the situation in another video, where she claimed she was working on retrieving CCTV footage from the hotel to show her side of the story. However, it doesn’t look like the law is on her side. Coco’s ex-boyfriend, rapper iHeartMemphis, posted a video showing Coco getting arrested, claiming that Grace had called the cops on them. “Based off our investigation — we saw the video. She assaulted her,” an officer said on-camera in another video, seemingly referencing Coco. “That’s kinda all there is to it.” For now, no other information has been released by either of the TikTokers — but we’ll make sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto.

She has previously partnered with UNICEF to raise awareness of the effects of cyberbullying on teenagers. It is the very first book to be brought out by a TikTok star and is part of a long line of projects brought out by Charli and the D’Amelio family in recent months. This move comes after massive her joint collaboration alongside sister Dixie D’Amelio for makeup brand Morphe, with the sisters unveiling a unique product line that reflects their own personal “no makeup, makeup” style. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEUQdBtjb5c/?igshid=7qtz2rintcmj Earlier this year Dixie D’Amelio also released her first single “Be Happy.” Soon after, Dixie signed to major record label Hitco on August 7. TikTok star Chase Hudson headlines Machine Gun Kelly film Downfalls High – Dexerto
TikTok star Chase Hudson headlines Machine Gun Kelly film Downfalls High Interscope RecordsChase Hudson is already one of the most popular TikTok influencers in the scene, but now he’s taken the first steps towards an acting career by starring in Machine Gun Kelly’s film Downfalls High. Chase Hudson has always looked confident and comfortable in front of a camera. It’s only natural when you’re one of the biggest TikTok influencers. But he’s about to take it to a whole new level. He landed a lead role in Machine Gun Kelly’s musical film Downfalls High, which is set to release on January 15. Blink 182’s Travis Barker also played a role in the production, and it features some other stars, including Sydney Sweeny and Trippie Redd. Unfortunately, the cast and crew have remained tight-lipped on all the details. However, Machine Gun kelly finally dropped a second teaser trailer, which is more elaborate than the first. The film looks interesting and quirky and has been described as “a first of its kind musical experience.” Plus, it’s bound to be a treat for Chase’s fans, especially those who have been following him since day one. However, the fact he’s starring in the film has already become one of it’s biggest talking points. It’s inevitable when you’re a popular influencer. Some people feel like there’s room for improvement based on what they’ve seen in the trailer. Others think he plays the part perfectly and will almost certainly smash the role. Either way, it’s impossible to make that assessment based on a 30-second trailer. You’ll have to watch the film in its entirety to know for sure. In the end, though, it’s still a massive first step into an acting career, regardless of whether people love or hate his performance. His name alone adds a lot of weight to the film, and being able to collaborate with other talented stars, and creators must be nice. Downfalls High’s release is around the corner, and it’s already trending on various social media platforms. Only time will tell whether it’s a hit, but all the signs point towards that direction.

Charli D’Amelio reveals how therapy is helping her “really bad” mental health struggles – Dexerto
Charli D’Amelio reveals how therapy is helping her “really bad” mental health struggles Instagram: charlidamelioTikTok queen Charli D’Amelio has revealed that going to therapy has massively helped her after she suffered from mental health issues before and after she found fame online. It has been a huge year for Charli, having shot to internet stardom and hitting the milestone of 100 million followers, far surpassing her peers. Alongside her family, Charli has expanded beyond TikTok and into book-writing, brand deals, and podcasts. As the most popular creator on TikTok, it’s unsurprising that the 16-year-old can sometimes feel the pressure, but it can be even harder having struggled long before she blew up on the world’s fastest-growing social media platform. Charli has previously spoken out about her mental health and how such a large following can exacerbate existing feelings of anxiety. In an October livestream, she revealed that she is currently seeing a therapist, and earlier in 2020, she also spoke out about having an eating disorder. Speaking to her fellow creator and friend Avani Gregg on her new Facebook show “Here For It,” Charli spoke candidly about what it was like growing up and how she’s found ways to cope. “I used to have such bad panic attacks in the third grade,” Charli said. “This is what happened and this is how it affected me up until literally three weeks ago. It hurt so bad I didn’t want to talk about it…I will cry for three days straight and I’m not even Charli anymore.” “I’m just this emotional person that doesn’t function properly. And I get into these, like, really, really bad places, and it’s scary for me. I’m not myself, and I don’t know what takes over, but it’s just so much built up that I’m trying to get out all at once, and it’s really tough. Especially when you feel like everyone has an invitation to say anything about you.” She emphasized how important it is to seek help, and that “just because you’re happy sometimes” doesn’t mean your emotions are any less valid. Thankfully, the internet star said that she is getting the help she needs, adding that her therapy sessions are “making a difference.”

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio slams “sh*tty” dance teacher for body comments – Dexerto
TikTok star Charli D’Amelio slams “sh*tty” dance teacher for body comments HuluTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has opened up about her own personal struggles with body image, explaining that it all started with a dance teacher’s comments. During October 12’s episode of The D’Amelio Show, the 18-year-old influencer and entrepreneur opened up about her past experience with dance environments, stating they are not always the safe space that they should be. Charli made it big on TikTok with her lip-synced dance videos and now boasts almost 150 million followers on the platform. On top of that, she’s also a 2022 contestant on Dancing With The Stars, which brings even more viewers and scrutiny – something she admits can make you feel vulnerable, particularly on social media. Charli D’Amelio opens up on body image struggles She said: “Even towards the beginning of social media, like 99% of the times that you saw me upset it was like, not about what you thought it was at all. There was a lot going on under the surface that no one really knew about. “It’s extremely hard to go from having a very unhealthy mindset with food to a healthy one.” Searching for the origins of her unhealthy mindset about food, Charli recalled a story about a dance teacher who would comment regularly on her body. With a backdrop of young photographs of herself, she added: “I had a dance teacher that was really sh**ty, and that messed me up for a while. “I mean, words have so much power, especially when it comes to young dancers. All they want is to have that validation from the people that are teaching them. I struggled for a long time and I did it as quietly as I could, and that was really hard.” Noting that her daughter had not developed yet at that stage, Charli’s mother – Heidi D’Amelio – detailed the impact of those body image comments. “It really messed with [her] head to have an adult teacher commenting negatively about your body because she was muscular and lean. She was tiny, she [had not] developed yet. She was a pre-teen.” D’Amelio is surrounded by a better support network these days and has stressed the importance of safe spaces for dancers. Charli and her dance partner Mark Ballas have been making headlines together on DWTS, most recently by pulling off an incredible Simpsons cosplay for Disney+ night.

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio reveals how she handles online hate – Dexerto
TikTok star Charli D’Amelio reveals how she handles online hate Charli D’Amelio, YouTubeCharli D’Amelio is one of the net’s fastest-rising stars, reaching the number one spot on TikTok at just fifteen years old — but online fame can have some serious downsides. Despite becoming TikTok’s most popular content creator with over 41.4 million followers, having such a massive audience also means being placed under intense scrutiny by critics and trolls. Although she’s seen huge success on all social media platforms, the star opened up about the huge amount of hate she’s received online when a fan asked her about the issue, shortly after she took TikTok’s top spot on March 25. According to D’Amelio, the hate she’s received since becoming internet famous caused her to lose all self-esteem, and even made her cry when she’d try to dance for a video. “Honestly, it hurts really bad,” she admitted. “I lost all of my confidence in myself. I didn’t want to look in the mirror and I would cry when i started dancing, because everyone was telling me how horrible I was. But I realized dance is my safe place — no one can take that from me.” (1) honestly it hurts really bad. i lost all of my confidence in myself i didn’t want to look in the mirror and i would cry when i started dancing because everyone was telling me how horrible i was but i realized dance is my safe place no one can take that from me https://t.co/zjUoMRYnPz — charli (@charlidamelio) March 25, 2020 Luckily, the TikTok sensation has found a way to overcome negative attention online, claiming that she’s able to focus on her life outside of content creation without allowing critics’ opinions to control her emotions. “It still hurts really bad when I see people saying mean things to me or about me, but I feel like I have gotten better, and focusing on other parts of my life instead of letting what other people say control me.” (2) it still hurts really bad when i see people saying mean things to me or about me but i feel like i have gotten better and focusing on other parts of my life instead of letting what other people say control me — charli d’amelio (@charlidamelio) March 25, 2020 This isn’t the first time D’Amelio has opened up about such matters, either; the star revealed the shocking hate she’s received from fans in-person, and even admitted that old acquaintances have accused her of dropping them after becoming famous. “Some people will try and go live and try to talk bad about me,” she claimed. “Try to make me look like a person I’m not, in a bad way. It’s weird seeing how people switch up. Or people will say, ‘You cut me off, you stopped talking to me.’ We haven’t been friends for four years!” (Topic begins at 2:45 for mobile readers) In spite of the trolls and haters, D’Amelio continues to see success — and there’s no telling where her career will take her, next.

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio gives sneak peek at her Super Bowl commercial – Dexerto
TikTok star Charli D’Amelio gives sneak peek at her Super Bowl commercial Instagram: CharliDamelio/WikiMediaCommonsTikTok star Charli D’Amelio has given fans a sneak peek at her Super Bowl 54 commercial, where she will bring the ‘Ok Boomer’ meme to life for a hummus brand. The rise of TikTok has allowed a whole group of new creators to gain a huge following in the same way that Vine did back between 2013 and 2014. One of the most popular, and now mainstream, names is Charli D’Amelio. The 15-year-old can regularly be found posting singing and dancing clips to her TikTok with over 22 million followers. But with the Super Bowl on the horizon, she’ll be taking things one step further, starring in a commercial for Sabra alongside NFL legend and broadcaster Boomer Esiason. The TikTok star dropped a quick sneak peek at the commercial on her official Twitter account, where she brings the ‘Ok Boomer’ meme to life in pretty amusing fashion. In the clip, the NFL legend can be seen enjoying the Sabra Hummus a bit too much – leaving D’Amelio with a confused look on her face. As the camera switches back to Esiason, he’s still enjoying his food – much to the displeasure of the D’Amelio. Instead of digging in to the Hummus herself, Charli gives him a subtle “Ok Boomer” before the 13-second long sneak peek comes to a close and finishes up. #SuperBowlLIV? Ok, @7BOOMERESIASON, see you there! Check us out in the @Sabra commercial on Feb 2! #OKBoomer #SabraPartner pic.twitter.com/vRErsXaoq1 — charli (@charlidamelio) January 30, 2020 While she is already a huge star across social media, getting a Super Bowl commercial is a huge feather in the cap for D’Amelio, as they are of huge importance to viewers who aren’t all that interested in the game. Aside from that, it isn’t cheap to get airtime during the Super Bowl either. At the end of November, Bloomberg reported that Fox – the broadcaster for this year’s game – had sold 77 commercial slots, with a single 30-second clip costing around $5.6 million. D’Amelio also took her chance to fire a shot at the doubters who suggest TikTok can’t be a career. People: #TikTok is not a career! Me: In a @sabra #SuperBowlLIV commercial #SabraPartner pic.twitter.com/Gwe8Mujdxv — charli (@charlidamelio) January 31, 2020 With the prospect of a high-scoring and hugely entertaining game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, Super Bowl 54 could break the 2015 record of 114 million average viewers. Whether or not D’Amelio’s commercial will be a success will only be known after it airs on February 2, but it should set her fans abuzz either way. It is a major accomplishment after all, and could be another indication that being TikTok famous is becoming more mainstream.

Loved by many for her relatability and vulnerability, Bader’s most recent video saw her call out body shamers for leaving a “ridiculous amount” of “disgusting” and “mean” comments. And while Bader promised fans she was “not going anywhere”, the model announced she would no longer be sharing her health journey online. “Okay, so I really try to not look at the mean things online the best that I can because it really saves my mental health by not looking at it, but there are some things that come up in my comments that I can’t not see,” Bader began, citing comments about her weight. TikTok star Cam Wilder’s Kai Cenat-style meetup shut down by police – Dexerto
TikTok star Cam Wilder’s Kai Cenat-style meetup shut down by police TikTok: ronnie2fast21TikToker Cam Wilder had his ‘Park Tarkover’ shut down by police after thousands of fans descended on San Antonio, with some comparisons being drawn to Kai Cenat’s New York riot. In years gone by, content creators and streamers would only meet their fans at events. They’d have set hours for signings, photographs, and panels, and it was pretty hard to catch them outside of that. Now, many creators have started ignoring events like that and have been holding their own meet-and-greets in public. Some have gone more swimmingly than others over time, but the most notable disruption came back in early August when Kai Cenat headed to New York and was going to giveaway PS5s to fans. He was later charged with inciting a riot. Well, police have now moved to shut down TikTok star Cam Wilder’s ‘Park Takeover’ in San Antonio after thousands of fans filled up Lady Bird Johnson Park. TikToker’s Kai Cenat-like meetup shut down after thousands show up If you’re not familiar with the term Park Takeover, it comes from the NBA 2K franchise where players play pick-up street games in set parks as plenty of others mill around watching and waiting for their turn. Wilder, who has 5.5 million followers on the short-form video app, had advertised a Park Takeover in San Antonio for September 3 and, according to police, an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 people turned up. According to a police statement given to KSAT, they ordered the crowd to disperse as the size of it posed an “imminent threat to public safety.” Though, police noted that the crowd wasn’t violent. Wilder issued a response to the mayhem in a short TikTok clip, calling it some “Kai Cenat s*it.” However, that TikTok upload, and his subsequent YouTube video about it all, have both been deleted. Furthermore, apparently, two attendees suffered injuries, one was a “heat-related” injury and another suffered a cut from a fall. Other TikTokers stated that they tried to move the takeover to a second location, however, that was shut down as well. So, he may have to be careful next time he visits San Antonio.

TikTok star Bryce Hall trends on Twitter after critics claim he’s “not hot” – Dexerto
TikTok star Bryce Hall trends on Twitter after critics claim he’s “not hot” YouTube: Bryce Hall / TwitterTikTok star and popular YouTuber Bryce Hall has become a hot topic on Twitter in a matter of minutes after debates regarding his physical attractiveness took over the social media platform. Bryce Hall is one of the net’s most popular influencers right now. Boasting 17.9 million followers on TikTok and over 3 million subscribers on YouTube, it’s safe to say that Hall has mastered multiple platforms with relative ease. A quick scroll through Hall’s content will show the Sway House member posing shirtless with his boys in multiple posts — and while it’s clear that his good looks and fitness are paramount to his image, some critics aren’t seeing the appeal. On January 11, Hall’s name began trending on Twitter… all thanks to these looks, which many critics claimed aren’t living up to the hype. View this post on Instagram “Bryce Hall is not hot,” one user tweeted. “You are sleep deprived. Please go to bed.” https://twitter.com/WACKlTY/status/1348560187691593728?s=20 “Bryce Hall is not attractive,” another posted. “Not even a little bit. Eat a carrot or something and fix your eyes, omfg.” https://twitter.com/R0SEPTLS/status/1348632563196289027?s=20 “Y’all really need to go outside if you find Bryce Hall attractive,” yet another chimed in. https://twitter.com/vllncin/status/1348738177301966852?s=20 The recent hate against Hall could be due to his interactions with popular Minecraft and Among Us streamers Dream, Quackity, and Karl Jacobs. Hall suggested a potential Among Us session with the popular creators, which may have put him front and center of some unamused fans. While it isn’t clear exactly why the debate stirred up in the first place, this wouldn’t be the first time a TikToker has received hate after trying to set up a game with these streamers; Addison Rae received a wave of backlash over a similar scenario, which only amplified after she received merch from Dream, himself. Luckily, Hall isn’t letting the hate bring him down, as evidenced by his humorous posts making light of the negativity. “My mentions are calling me ‘dog water,’ for some reason,” he joked. “I wake up and see Bryce Hall is only trending for not being hot… What is 2021?” he added. i wake up and see bryce hall is only trending for not being hot… what is 2021 😂 — Bryce Hall (@BryceHall) January 11, 2021 Despite the odd amount of backlash he’s been receiving online, it seems very likely that he’ll be able to score his highly-coveted Among Us stream with some of the game’s biggest stars — although there’s no official word on the broadcast at the time of writing.

TikTok’s incredible growth has led to a new wave of celebrities, one of whom is Bryce Hall. The 20-year-old’s videos on the social media app have attracted him over 12 million followers, and 625 million likes. Officially, Hall is a member of the Sway House, one of the few houses established for TikTok celebrities. He lives in the Bel-Air mansion with Anthony Reeves, Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, Kio Cyr and Jaden Hossler. While Hall did not divulge whether the property in question was indeed the Sway House, he said that “my house” had eggs thrown at it and was broken into on August 1. “Some people really egged my house and snuck inside at 3 am,” he tweeted, “you need some serious help lmao.” He did not divulge any further information, so it remains unclear whether it was the Sway House, or whether he was present at the property at the time. There have, however, been issues in the past with fans turning up at the shared property, despite pleas from its residents for privacy. some people really egged my house and snuck inside at 3 am… you need some serious help lmao — Bryce Hall (@BryceHall) August 1, 2020 The tweet, understandably, caused concern among Hall’s millions of followers, many of whom encouraged the star to go to the authorities or even move. Others implored fans to stop showing up at Hall’s house, saying: “stop showing up to his house. Respect their privacy man gosh.” Another said: “Omg people leave them alone! He’s said it so many times! Also you guys should probably get some sort of alarm system… it’s not even funny to break into someone’s house!” It remains to be seen what action, if any, Hall will take regarding the break-in, but it certainly consists of another unwanted (and illegal) invasion of his privacy.

Since TikTok has exploded in popularity, creating a number of young stars just as Vine did, these TikTokkers have been thrown into the spotlight – and so have their relationship. Plenty of them are just friends collaborating in videos, but others have taken things one step further and become romantically involved. Many fans watched on as Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson shared their affection for each other before they announced that they were going their separate ways. Fans now seem to have a new relationship that they’re all about – the return of Bryce Hall and Addison Rae. Rumors have been swirling about the pair since January, when they initially stated that they weren’t dating – though they were still talking on and off as good friends. Addison herself stated they wanted different things. Though, in recent weeks, Hall’s housemates have been teasing him about Rae. They used photographs of them together at the start of videos – leaving Bryce with his head in his hands, pretty speechless at what was going on. He himself took things a step further at the end of Josh Richards’ Instagram live stream on April 15, giving a shout to Addison and their previous relationship. “Subscribe to Bryce Hall, I’m going to get back with Addison,” he called out, literally as the stream was headed offline – leaving plenty of fans confused and questioning why he had just said that. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-_QUbmHjuR/ However, only a few days later on April 18, Rae simply tweeted out the word ‘single’ suggesting that she wasn’t in a relationship with anyone. Despite the fact the pair haven’t interacted on social media for a while, that hasn’t stopped fans from suggesting that they’re getting back together. We’ll just have to wait and see what unfolds moving forward.

TikTok star Bryce Hall opens up on “mortifying” experience after arrest – Dexerto
TikTok star Bryce Hall opens up on “mortifying” experience after arrest Instagram: brycehallBryce Hall has opened up about his arrest in May for the first time, writing an essay about the “mortifying and shameful experience” and how he’s taking “a huge step towards making real changes.” Bryce Hall was arrested on May 25 on drug offences in Lee County, Texas. While he was released the day after, the Sway House member spent his time behind bars to reflect on himself as a person. The TikTok star, who has almost 10 million followers on the platform, penned an essay that was published by People magazine, reflecting on the “mortifying” experience of being arrested. Hall spoke about letting down not only himself, but his fans, and his mother especially. “As a single mom, she worked really hard to raise me and has always been my number one supporter through everything — including my screw-ups. I knew that if I had listened to her 100 percent, I wouldn’t have ended up there,” he said. He also mentioned that he’s spent the last 20 years wanting to not follow in the footsteps of his “abusive and irresponsible” father. “He spent time behind bars for unpaid child support and abuse; and as I sat in that cell, it made me feel just like my father. It was a mortifying and shameful experience,” Hall wrote. Instead of dwelling on the past though, the TikTok star wants to take this energy and action it into positive change. He wants to inspire his “huge platform,” especially his younger fans, and he’s working towards getting sober, and living up to the “Party Animal brand” responsibly. “It dawned on me what a huge platform and responsibility I have — especially with my younger fans. I realized that living up to my Party Animal brand isn’t dependent on being intoxicated; it’s about who I am deep down. “As a huge step towards making real changes, I started on the path of getting sober. It’s been transformative. While I will still drink occasionally, gone are the times of drinking heavily every day.” He’s also using his platform to promote social movements, like Black Lives Matter, and showing how his “powerful group of young people…can all help during this important moment in history.” “There is a time and a place for everything — for partying, working hard, and making a difference. I want people to know Bryce Hall for all three; not just the first.”

Though there have been rumors throughout his young career, this one seems a little more concrete, and now Hall has hinted a little more that the two might be an item. After numerous appearances online together, in each other’s Instagram Lives or TikTok posts, many fans started to speculate that Holder and Ray were seeing each other, and although nobody has yet outright confirmed the rumors, it’s starting to become a little clearer. While speaking with his fans on TikTok Live, Bryce was asked about the potential couple, and gave a pretty interesting answer. “Are Tayler and Sommer Ray dating?” he read out, as the questions came pouring in. “I wish I could tell you the answer,” he continued. “It looks like they are. They’re definitely feeling all up on each other’s faces and stuff.” He went on to joke that they are “definitely, maybe, kissing. I will say they probably have kissed,” adding that you “shouldn’t take [his] word for it.” View this post on Instagram Despite what he said during the live broadcast, Bryce later tweeted that he “stans” Holder and Kelianne Stankus, another famous TikToker who Holder has been linked with for several weeks. It certainly seems more like Tayler and Sommer are seeing each other given how close they have seemed in their recent social media posts, and with Bryce somewhat confirming that the two “are kissing,” fans should probably expect some kind of announcement of their relationship status soon.

TikTok star Bryce Hall addresses backlash over “disrespectful” old video – Dexerto
TikTok star Bryce Hall addresses backlash over “disrespectful” old video BryceHall, InstagramTikTok star Bryce Hall has issued a response after old videos of him on a 2017 YouNow stream resurfaced. Bryce Hall has blown up in popularity in 2020, with over ten million followers across his TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. However, the internet star’s first venture into social media fame was on streaming service YouNow, which would allow him to chat with viewers and engage with other creators on the platform. A clip from one of his old YouNow streams from 2017 recently resurfaced, where Bryce was in a heated debate with a girl who he had hosted on his channel, criticizing her on stream and calling her a “wh**e”. The popular influencer received backlash for the old video, and has now spoken out in response to the clip on May 16. people are really bringing back my old videos from when i was 16-17 and judging me based on that?! as if people don’t change?! oh shit you’re right!!1!2 i forgot you have the same mindset / maturity level / respect level / etc. from the day you are born to the day you die.. my b — Bryce Hall (@BryceHall) May 16, 2020 “People are really bringing back my old videos from when I was 16-17 and judging me based on that?” he asked, before explaining that people can change over time. He continued on by claiming that while he agrees he deserves to be criticized over the incident, it is unfair for people to bring back the clip to use it against him years after it has happened. im not saying i don’t deserve criticism for it bc i did act as a little disrespectful prick in the past, but RANDOMLY bringing it back and just NOW hating on me for it after i apologized sincerely on it multiple times while im actually just here happy, tryin to live my best life — Bryce Hall (@BryceHall) May 16, 2020 “I’m not saying I don’t deserve criticism for it [because] I did act as a little disrespectful prick in the past,” he admitted,” but randomly bringing it back and just now hating on me for it after I apologized sincerely on it multiple times.” The girl who originally posted the old video then deleted it, and spoke out in two more TikTok videos. “That’s a decision he chose to make and he chose to act that way for an audience which I think is uncalled for and that’s why I posted it,” she said. “I know that people can change and it was a long time ago. However my personal opinions are mine.” This is not the only drama that the TikTok star has found himself in, as his back and forth with fellow content creator Ricegum seems to be continuing after Bryce revealed he would be releasing another video on the feud.

TikTok star Bryce Hall announces he’s “quitting” partying – Dexerto
TikTok star Bryce Hall announces he’s “quitting” partying YouTube: Josh Richards[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok star and Sway House member Bryce Hall dropped a surprising announcement during a video with fellow creator Josh Richards, revealing that he’s quitting his partying ways — for now. For those out of the loop, self-described “party animal” Bryce Hall made headlines in late August after being charged with breaking Los Angeles city ordinances, having thrown massive house parties despite the current global health crisis. Faced with a potential year in jail and/or a $2,000 fine, Hall has become the unintentional poster child for reckless behavior during these uncertain times — but it seems like the uber-popular influencer is finally taking his “influence” seriously. During a September 6 vlog with fellow creator Josh Richards, Hall announced that he is putting a temporary halt to his usual party montages, as is customary in his YouTube videos. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1294649829449019392?s=20 Instead, the TikToker-turned-YouTuber is taking a step back from the party-hard lifestyle and is instead observing city ordinances until restrictions are released — whenever that might be. “We are quitting partying for a little bit,” Bryce began. “We actually are quitting partying.” “For until it’s safe enough,” Richards added. “I think people are gonna think we’re sarcastic — this is fully serious,” Hall continued. “We are quitting partying for a little bit, which means our content’s not gonna consist of a lot of party montages.” (Topic begins at 3:20) While the duo made light of their situation, it seems their decision has been met with some speculation among critics, with many social media users “not believing their story until they see it,” so to speak. Of course, Hall isn’t the only influencer out partying despite the ongoing situation; YouTube star Jake Paul has also faced criticism for throwing an entire boxing match during a house party directly after the FBI raided his home (wise decision: maybe not). However, Hall and company are putting a stop to their own antics before things can get even further out of hand, following the previous shutoff of electricity and water to his home as punishment for his parties.

TikTok star Breckie Hill lashes out at Livvy Dunne: “She’s a b*tch” – Dexerto
TikTok star Breckie Hill lashes out at Livvy Dunne: “She’s a b*tch” Instagram: brekkiehill, livvydunnePopular TikToker Breckie Hill has made no bones about her thoughts on gymnast Livvy Dunne, levying a major insult toward the internet-famous athlete in an interview. Livvy Dunne is the internet’s new “it girl,” skyrocketing to fame in late 2022 for her dual status as a social media star as well as a collegiate gymnast competing for Louisiana State University. She’s even been hailed as the most valuable women’s college athlete of the last year, and her fame only continues to grow as fans flock to her competitions — and social media profiles — in droves. However, not everyone is a fan of the blonde-haired influencer. Last year, TikToker Markell Washington claimed that Dunne had been rude to him when he tried to shake her hand, sparking a tearful reply from the gymnast who claimed Washington was “making stuff up.” Now, another influencer is taking aim at Dunne — TikToker Breckie Hill. Hill, who boasts over 1 million TikTok followers, lashed out at the athlete during an interview with fellow creator Lofe on February 18. Breckie Hill takes shots at Livvy Dunne “I do have beef with her,” she admitted after being asked about the subject. “Do you know her? Livvy Dunne? She’s a TikToker. She’s such a b*tch. Also, every single person that’s like, met her, has been like, ‘Oh, she’s so mean in person.’” “She’s like, ‘Oh, you’re body shaming me,’” Hill continued. “Her and her friends were like, bullying me. They were like, ‘Oh yeah, she’s a dupe.’ Like a Walmart version [of Dunne].” That’s not all; Hill went on to claim that she would “slap” Dunne if she were there during their conversation and even joked about taking her on in the boxing ring for a hypothetical influencer match. (Topic begins at 21:00) For now, Dunne has yet to give a public response to Hill’s comments — but commenters aren’t too pleased with what she had to say, with many claiming that part of Hill’s fame stemmed from her resemblance to the gymnast (something commenters on her own TikTok videos frequently say). This latest news follows the sudden disappearance of Dunne’s Twitter account earlier this month after her profile went missing for a short time.

TikTok star blasts Instagram for deleting video requesting sugar daddy to pay for $5 gas – Dexerto
TikTok star blasts Instagram for deleting video requesting sugar daddy to pay for $5 gas TikTok/miadioPopular TikToker Mia Dio is accusing Instagram of trying to delete her account after the site took down a video of her requesting a sugar daddy to help her afford $5 gas. No one likes paying a lot of money for gas, and with prices rising across many countries, The White House has even briefed influencers on the subject so they can better inform their audiences. Now every influencer is educational, however, and some decided to handle the rising prices with some comedy. As such, Mia Dio took it upon herself to mock the ridiculous prices with a humorous video. In a viral TikTok that has accumulated over two million views in just four days, Mia and her friend Miranda hung out at a gas station to request a sugar daddy so they can afford gas. (click here if TikTok fails to load) TikTok star demands sugar daddy to afford gas “Between me putting all my money in failed meme stocks, inflation and whatever the hell is happening to these gas prices, my friend Mimi and I decided to take a stand,” the TikToker said to begin her video. With a sign that read, “need a sugar daddy 4 gas,” the influencers got the attention of drivers in the area, including one in a Prime video truck who yelled, “if you find one, let me know because I need him too!” While the two got a lot of eyes on them, it doesn’t seem like they were able to secure a sugar daddy to fill up their tanks. The end of the video shows gas prices at $4.99 a gallon, so the cost may have been too rich for even the sweetest of sugar daddies. View this post on Instagram Instagram deletes sugar daddy for gas prices video However, while the video remains uploaded on TikTok, Instagram claimed the post went against their guidelines, with Mia posting a screenshot showing the video was removed. “Apparently we can’t make jokes anymore. Instagram is trying to get my account deleted,” she said. Luckily, following backlash from her fans, the site allowed the video to be reposted on her reels. In the comments, Mia praised her supporters writing, “They reposted it because of all of you guys. Thank you!” It’s not clear why Instagram decided to take the video down to begin with, but the clip has still managed to obtain nearly 500,000 views despite being removed temporarily.

TikTok star Brandon Robert attacked by fake fan during livestream – Dexerto
TikTok star Brandon Robert attacked by fake fan during livestream Instagram: @thebrandonrobertPopular TikToker Brandon Robert was in the middle of a live broadcast when he was assailed by someone pretending to be a fan — but in the end, it looks like Robert got the better of his attacker. In the age of social media, being a full-time influencer certainly sounds like a dream job. Having millions of fans and making serious dough from brand deals are all definite upsides to the career, after all. However, not everything is sunshine and roses for top-tier content creators. Many social media stars have come out with harrowing tales of being stalked, harassed, and otherwise assailed due to their online fame. Brandon Robert is one such personality. A popular TikToker, Robert boasts over 10 million followers on the app — so it came as little surprise that he thought all the best of a potential fan who approached him during a recent TikTok Live. View this post on Instagram While the fan declined to show his face on the broadcast, he did ask for a photo with Robert. It’s here that the situation turned sour; rather than posing for a pic, the “fan” assailed Roberts with a water bottle. “Your videos suck ****!” the assailant can be heard saying from off-camera before speeding away in his car. Understandably shaken up and confused, Robert yelled after the fake fan as he drove off… but it turns out that his little stunt could seriously cost him. On May 2, Robert uploaded a video recapping the incident and followed up with a comparatively cheerful segment where he revealed that he’d managed to find out his attacker’s name, place of employment and even his wife’s identity. “You have 36 hours to send me an apology video, person who did this,” Robert challenged. “If you do not DM me a video of you apologizing, I am going to inform both your work and your wife.” Robert then claimed that he would post the apology video on TikTok for “all to see” — so either way, it seems like the assailant isn’t exactly coming out on top. With names like Jeffree Star also warning stalkers who have come up to his house, it seems like influencers are getting tired of these kinds of invasions of privacy and disrespect lately.

Many fans of the star will be hoping to see her in more projects like this in the future, keen to see her show off her skills in different forms outside of TikTok.

TikTok star Bella Poarch addresses outrage over racism accusations – Dexerto
TikTok star Bella Poarch addresses outrage over racism accusations Instagram: bella.poarch[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]The TikToker behind the site’s wildly popular “M to the B” video is facing allegations of racist behavior, after viewers took issue with one of her tattoos and a nickname she’d given to one of her friends. Bella Poarch rose to fame in mid-September, after uploading herself lipsyncing to Millie B’s “M to the B” on TikTok. This quickly skyrocketed her to viral status on the already popular video app, receiving a mind-boggling 30 million likes and breaking the site’s record for getting the most likes on a single post. Of course, with internet stardom comes internet critics, who quickly uncovered some offensive behavior from the star that is causing some major drama around her newly-famous status. Viewers were quick to take issue with one of Poarch’s tattoos, which is the Japanese Rising Sun — a symbol known for its use on the Japanese Imperial Flag in WWII. That’s not all; others accused her of using an offensive nickname to refer to one of her friends, claiming that she’d called the friend — a person of color — “Harambe.” Poarch addressed the backlash in a series of TikTok comments on September 16, clarifying that her friend is okay with the nickname and that the name had stuck during his time in the military. “I’m sorry that you believed rumors about me and my best friend Albert,” Poarch wrote. “He’s Samoan and not Black, and that’s his military nickname because he’s big and always very protective. That was his name before I even met him.” “Please stop spreading lies,” she continued. “He’s very heartbroken and sad about this. We’ve been friends now for three years and for people to tell me I was treating him wrong… breaks my heart, too. I’m sorry.” Poarch previously published an apology regarding the outrage around her tattoo, writing in a series of Tweets, “I apologize to Koreans, because six months ago I got a tattoo of the red sun with 16 rays. At that time, I didn’t know the history, but when I found out, I immediately scheduled it for removal.” I apologize to Koreans because 6 months ago I got a tattoo of the red sun with 16 rays. At that time, I didn’t know the history. But when I found out, I immediately had it covered and scheduled for removal. I am ashamed of myself for not doing my research. I sincerely apologize. — Bella Poarch (@bellapoarch) September 6, 2020 Considering her relatively quick rise to internet fame, it comes as little surprise that critics aren’t happy with her response to the matter, likewise finding fault with TikTok fandom for producing massive social media stars with relatively short turnaround.

TikTok star Bella Poarch banned from comments for bizarre reason – Dexerto
TikTok star Bella Poarch banned from comments for bizarre reason Instagram: Bella PoarchTikTok star Bella Poarch has been banned from commenting on TikToks, including her own, after seemingly being mass reported by other users. [jwplayer ZXB9LNVP] As TikTok has swept across the internet like wildfire, a number of users have been turned into celebrities and personalities overnight – with plenty using their popularity to start content houses and groups. Stars like Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Addison Rae, and Loren Gray have ridiculous followings across social media, and Bella Poarch is on track to follow them. The 19-year-old had over 33 million followers on TikTok, with growing followings on Twitter and Instagram too. However, she’s been banned from responding to fans on TikTok after being mass reported by other users. Poarch flagged the ban on Twitter on October 9, showing off a screenshot of her first punishment and the comment that caused the ban – a simple llama emoji. The message from TikTok stated that the 19-year-old had been reported for “violating community guidelines,” and in order to “maintain a safe and friendly environment for everyone on TikTok,” her access to comments had been taken away. That ban was just a 24-hour suspension from commenting, however, on October 11, the TikTok revealed that it had happened again. “I just don’t understand,” she tweeted, showing that she’d been banned from commenting for two days – until October 13th. https://twitter.com/bellapoarch/status/1315135588014518273 The TikTok star noted that the suspension was unfortunate because she wants to respond to her fans in the comments on each video, given that they’re supporting her. “I try to respond to everyone who comments on my videos and now I can’t even do that,” she tweeted on October 11. I try to respond to everyone who comments on my videos and now I can’t even do that☹️ — Bella Poarch (@bellapoarch) October 11, 2020 Given that the suspensions have increased in time with each supposed violation of the rules, it could be a case where Poarch loses her ability to comment altogether, purely because of trolls. It remains to be seen as to whether or not TikTok will do something about her problem, or if she’ll continue to lose access to commenting moving forward.

TikTok star Avani responds to rumors she’s leaving the Hype House – Dexerto
TikTok star Avani responds to rumors she’s leaving the Hype House Avani / TheHypeHouseLAPopular TikTok creator Avani Gregg has responded to rumors of her leaving the Hype House following much of the drama surrounding the group in recent months. Avani is one of the biggest stars on TikTok with just under 20 million followers on her account for her zany videos and is also a member of the Hype House. While the Hype House initially saw massive success, during the rise of TikTok, with many of the app’s biggest stars collaborating together, the group has received some backlash lately after recent drama. Following the founder’s feud with Daisy Keech and the departure of the D’Amelio sisters, rumors began to spread that other members of the house such as Addison Rae and Avani might be next. After being asked by one of her fans when she would also be leaving the Hype House, Avani finally responded to the rumors with a subtle dig at her housemates. The TikTok star joked that the Hype House had lost much of its buzz as of late, and claimed that it was just called “the house.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CAjPswvn4sj/ “It is now just the house” she added, referring to many of the popular creators who had left. However, while she does not seem to be happy with the current state of the LA-based collective, the 17-year-old did not reveal whether she plans on leaving the Hype House anytime soon. As of now, it appears as if Avani is still in the Hype House, as she is still being featured in the group’s latest social media posts and is being reposted on their account’s Instagram story. Another Hype House member who has been recently rumored to leave was Addison Rae, as many continue to question the fate of the group after it lost some of its biggest creators.
