TikTok star Baby Ariel reacts to Jacob Sartorius dating speculation Baby Ariel, YouTube / Jacob Sartorius, InstagramTikTok star and actress Baby Ariel has spoken out about speculation surrounding her love life after fans began questioning if she was dating fellow internet celebrity Jacob Sartorius. Ariel Rebecca Martin, otherwise known as Baby Ariel, is a massive creator on TikTok, boasting over 31.7 million followers on the platform at just 19 years old due to her viral dancing and lip syncing videos. As one of the platform’s top personalities, it comes as little surprise that fans paired her with another huge social media star — former Viner Jacob Sartorius, who rose to fame at the height of the app’s popularity and is now known for his musical career. In fact, fans were so curious about the pair’s alleged love affair that the question came up during her Q & A video on March 30, where she specifically addressed the popular rumor. “Last question: Are you and Jacob Sartorius dating?” she read from her compiled list of fan queries at the end of her video. “No! We’re just friends. We’re BFFS.” While her response was quite cut-and-dried, some fans are still spotting potential that that the star is hiding her love life from the cameras, as evidenced by her indirect response to the question: Who is your crush? Rather than giving an answer, Baby Ariel avoided the question completely, giving the camera a pointed look before moving right along to the next fan query. Comments on Ariel’s video have since been disabled, further making fans confused — but that’s not the only thing that’s giving them something to chew on. (Topic begins at 7:36 for mobile readers) Sartorius appears to be single, as well, after tweeting out: “I want a beautiful girl who I’m obsessed with that I can trust and who loves me for me.” I want a beautiful girl who I’m obsessed with that I can trust and who loves me for me. — Jacob Sartorius (@jacobsartorius) March 27, 2020 Fan speculation aside, it seems like these two internet stars are definitely not involved with each other, leaving internet detectives disappointed after the two often appeared in each other’s content. Formerly involved with Millie Bobbie Brown, Sartorius appears single and ready to mingle — just not with Baby Ariel, apparently.

TikTok star Avani responds after Cody Ko roasts the Hype House – Dexerto
TikTok star Avani responds after Cody Ko roasts the Hype House YouTube Cody Ko / Instagram: AvaniYouTuber Cody Ko’s newest video took aim at the famous ‘Hype House’ collective of TikTok stars, mocking their ‘cringe’ content, but member Avani hopes it won’t make him hate her. The Hype House is made up of various popular TikTokkers, many of them boasting millions of followers on their accounts, including names like Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae. Avani Gregg is one of the original superstars on the app, with over 13.4 million followers at the time of writing, and is one of the founding members of the Hype House. Along with others in the group, she was featured on Entertainment Tonight – the focus of Ko’s roast. A commentary channel, Cody Ko often picks out the cringiest online content he can find, with his most popular series called “That’s Cringe”. In his March 16 video, which has already gone viral with almost 2 million views, he focuses on TikTok, and not for the first time. But this time, it was specifically about the Hype House. “It’s like a bunch of kids, that are big on TikTok, they rented a big house in LA, and they all film TikToks together, in the bathroom,” as he describes it. He then proceeds to laugh at the awkward video, which also features Addison Rae and Chase Hudson, as well as Avani, although she herself doesn’t do much talking. But, it turns out Avani is a big fan of Cody Ko already and was worried that his discovery of the Hype House might make him ‘hate’ her. “Please don’t hate me because I’m a part of the hype house I love your videos,” Avani posted on Twitter, tagging the YouTuber. .@codyko hi pls don’t hate me bc i’m a part of the hype house i love ur videos. — avani dicaprio (1990s edition) (@lilpapivoni) March 16, 2020 Cody was quick to respond, confirming that he “doesn’t hate anyone” and just thought the video was funny and awkward. Avani explained that it seemed to be the trend for YouTuber’s to hate on the Hype House, and thought Ko might have been jumping on the bandwagon. i just mean in general since a lot of youtubers hate the hype house 🥺👉🏼👈🏼 https://t.co/57R6G1Qz5v— avani dicaprio (1990s edition) (@lilpapivoni) March 17, 2020 In his video, Cody Ko admits that when he was known as a Vine star (the spiritual predecessor to TikTok), he actually appeared on a similar show and that it was probably just as cringeworthy. Rather than the stars themselves, he blames the writers of the show for their decision to run the segment at all, saying it was always guaranteed to result in some level of awkwardness.

TikTok star Avani Gregg shuts down Anthony Reeves cheating rumor after confusing comment – Dexerto
TikTok star Avani Gregg shuts down Anthony Reeves cheating rumor after confusing comment Instagram: avani / luvanthonyTikTok star Avani Gregg confirmed that boyfriend Anthony Reeves has not cheated on her after she caused confusion among fans by accidentally replying to the wrong comment. [jwplayer pNjHVqy4] 18-year-old Avani Gregg is a hugely popular influencer on TikTok, boasting a follower count of over 30 million. She’s known for posting a variety of content, including dance, beauty, fashion, and comedy videos, and has an adoring fanbase as a result. Fans are also obsessed with her relationship with fellow TikToker Anthony Reeves. The pair confirmed they were a couple in April 2020, and since then followers have been marveling at how adorable their relationship is, celebrating them on social media. But an accidental mixup with a reply to a comment left some fans of the pair baffled, thinking maybe something could have happened to the couple. Avani posted a video of her lying on top of Anthony, along with the caption: “I really do hope this man knows I can’t live without him.” In reply to a confusing comment that read, “the only guys don’t cheat,” the star then wrote, “lol no,” leaving viewers scratching their heads at what the interaction could mean. Some worried that she was implying something had happened behind the scenes. View this post on Instagram However, Avani quickly realized her mistake, and, in a separate comment, wrote, “y’all it was on the wrong comment. Anthony would never cheat, never ever, the man is perfect.” Clarifying who her original comment was intended for, she explained, “that was on the other comment that said ‘but he did cheat’ and I said lol no.” The clarification certainly came as a relief for fans of the couple, who love their dynamic and want to support them as much as they can. “Thank God,” one fan wrote in relief, another saying, “if you don’t get married I’ll throw my phone out the window.” Everyone seemed to be happy that the comment was a simple mistake, and acknowledged that the original commenter’s poorly worded message probably contributed a lot to the confusion. Avani and Anthony seem as loved up as ever, and remain a favorite couple among TikTok fans.

TikTok star Ava Louise admits she fabricated the Kanye West & Jeffree Star affair rumors – Dexerto
TikTok star Ava Louise admits she fabricated the Kanye West & Jeffree Star affair rumors YouTube: Jeffree Star, PowerfulJRE / Instagram: @avalouiiseLeaked audio from TikTok star Ava Louise appears to show the influencer admitting to completely making up the viral rumors that Jeffree Star and Kanye West were having a secret affair. On January 6, the internet went up in flames due to a completely unexpected rumor, which claimed that a major male beauty influencer had been behind the Kim Kardashian / Kanye West divorce. Although she didn’t name him, the TikToker who kicked off the rumors — a content creator named Ava Louise — appeared to heavily hint that the male influencer was Jeffree Star, a massively popular YouTuber and owner of his own makeup empire. With Star appearing to find the scandal humorous and even poking fun at the rumors with cryptic Tweets, many found some credibility in the situation — but he fully debunked the matter on January 7, claiming that he’s never even met Kanye. After two days of the rumors running rampant online, it seems that Ava Louise has admitted to completely fabricating the entire ordeal, as told by audio from a leaked text conversation. “I’m literally not even getting sued,” Louise can be heard saying in the audio clip. “I made the entire scandal up. There is literally not one bit of truth to anything I have said. I just tricked the entire world into talking about me again because I was on a lot of Adderall.” Well, there you have it: Ava Louise made the entire scandal up so that the internet would talk about her again, thanks to the help of certain prescription medications. ok ppl in my DMs saying Ava Louise didn’t lie about Kanye and Jeffree here’s a voice message now leave me alone(got this from tiktok) pic.twitter.com/8DZLYi4VJx — mars (@mars132001) January 8, 2021 That’s not all; Ava took to Instagram to admit that she’d made a fair bit of profit off the drama, claiming that she’d raked in $15,000 in the past three days. Needless to say, it doesn’t look like the internet is too pleased with Ava’s latest stunt, which comes months after she licked a toilet seat in a “challenge” amid the global health crisis last year. “Bro, if you’re bored, just play Roblox or something,” one commenter joked. “There was no need to do that.” “Imagine starting stuff that can hurt ppl in the process for fun,” yet another said. Kim and Kanye themselves have denied the rumors, according to a source close to the couple, making this entire scenario a 24-hour whirlwind that stopped as quickly as it started.

TikTok star Avani angry as her account is mysteriously deleted – Dexerto
TikTok star Avani angry as her account is mysteriously deleted Instagram: avaniAvani is one of the biggest names on TikTok, amassing 18 million followers on the platform, but now it appears that her account has been mysteriously deleted for seemingly no reason. Update: April 30 – Avani’s TikTok account has come back and appears to be back to how it was. Several stars have been born from TikTok, including the likes of Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae, with Charli alone having over 50m followers on the platform, and Avani has been on the rise with her peers throughout the platform’s growth. Now, though, her account can’t be found on TikTok, and neither she pr her fans can seem to figure out why. Posting early in the hours of Wednesday, April 29, Avani simply tweeted asking “Why me?” and it quickly became clear what she was exasperated at. Responding to her tweet, her millions of followers were asking why her TikTok account had been removed and showed no signs of life, with no videos, followers or likes to be seen. It’s not quite clear whether this shows that the account has been deleted (as some of the information, including username and bio, are still there) or something else has happened. omg your tiktok 🥺 GUYS THIS IS BULLSHIT WHAT RID AVANI DO WRONG pic.twitter.com/PaOzgym813 — you (@ccharliisangell) April 29, 2020 In a follow-up Tweet, Avani said it “just hurts” and is another reason for her to cry. i don’t care at this point this shi just hurts — avani dicaprio (1990s edition) (@lilpapivoni) April 29, 2020 One fan theorized that Avani had actually been hacked, claiming that it’s “the exact reason” why people should delete TikTok from their devices altogether. https://twitter.com/just_907_peachy/status/1255416304707809282 Obviously there’s not yet any evidence that the missing account is a result of a hack, so this tweet may just be a shot in the wind. But, as someone with such a public persona, Avani being hacked could be an absolute nightmare if any private information was to be released. After the account went missing, Avani posted a series of unsettling tweets, including that she was having a panic attack, so hopefully her account can be recovered to give her some peace of mind. Dexerto has reached out to Avani for clarification. TikTok are yet to comment on why Avani’s account appears to have been deleted, but with multitudes of angry fans worldwide, they may want to figure out the problem sooner rather than later.

TikTok star Alex Warren slammed for destroying girlfriend’s car as a prank – Dexerto
TikTok star Alex Warren slammed for destroying girlfriend’s car as a prank YouTube: Alex WarrenPopular TikTok creator Alex Warren is facing intense backlash from critics after destroying his girlfriend’s old car as part of an elaborate prank…even though he gifted her a new vehicle afterwards. Alex Warren boasts an impressive following across multiple social media platforms. Garnering 14 million TikTok followers and 2.6 million YouTube subscribers, Warren creates content similar to that of David Dobrik — including wild stunts and complex pranks. However, one of his most recent pranks is earning him ample criticism from viewers, which sparked after he decided to gift his girlfriend a new vehicle in a creative way. Rather than merely surprising her with a set of keys in a scavenger hunt, Warren pranked girlfriend and fellow influencer ‘Kouvr’ by leading her outside to show her that he’d run over her well-loved 2001 Toyota Camry with a sleek, black 4×4 G Wagon. As if that wasn’t enough, a member of Warren’s posse broke one of the Camry’s passenger windows with a rock, screaming all the while. During the video, Kouvr seems thoroughly confused, with the camera catching a close-up of an expression that seems close to tears. Luckily, Warren revealed that he’d gifted her the G Wagon shortly thereafter — prompting his buddies to rain more destruction down on the totaled Camry. “Why would you do that?” Kouvr asked of her boyfriend, completely shocked. “Because it’s your dream car!” Warren responded. Despite the prank video ending on a wholesome note, many commenters weren’t happy that Warren destroyed a car that some felt could have been gifted to drivers in need of transportation. Read More: Jake Paul claims KSI is scared to fight him – “Y’all rich as hell,” one user wrote. “If you guys don’t want it, maybe fix it and donate it?” “It’s like destroying someone’s stuffed animal and giving them a new, better one,” another mused. “Great, that’s cool, but you don’t know what that meant to someone.” “You could have given that car to someone who needs it,” yet another critic chimed in. “Ungrateful.” It’s worth noting that noted internet philanthropist MrBeast orchestrated a similar stunt beforehand, where he destroyed a friend’s car only to gift him a brand-new vehicle as recompense. Warren has since responded to the outrage in a comment underneath his TikTok of the prank, stating that the car had broken down just a year after she’d purchased it and that “the cost in repairs was more than it was worth.” What’s your take on the situation? Do you think Warren should have donated Kouvr’s old car, or is he within his rights to destroy the Camry for a prank-turned-gift? Let us know on Twitter @DexertoTrending!

TikTok star Addison Rae stunned as fans shut down New York City store PacificCoastNews.com / Addison Rae, YouTubeMassively popular TikTok star Addison Rae was lost for words when a horde of fans unexpectedly crowded a shopping center in New York City during her vacation. Addison Rae is a huge name on short-form video platform TikTok, boasting a whopping 15.3 million followers due to her viral content. Often seen with other TikTok celebs like Charli D’Amelio, she has since spread her reach to websites like Instagram and YouTube, where she publishes vlogs to give viewers a broader glimpse into her life. One of these vlogs detailed her winter trip to New York City, where she met up with a group of fellow internet celebrities to enjoy the Big Apple. However, her vacation took an unexpected turn after the star Tweeted out her location to her 226k Twitter followers. The tweet prompted a horde of fans to show up to the location en masse for the chance of an impromptu meet-and-greet. Rae’s vlog of the debacle shows the celeb’s shocked expression after seeing “thousands” of fans crowding together at the glass doors, prompting her and her friend group to gather in a basement area of the shopping center to avoid further chaos. “We announced that we were at the Conservatory, which we didn’t know was a store,” she explained. “…we’re so sorry to everyone who works there. How many people do you think… thousands of people outside.” (Timestamp: 2:30 for mobile readers) Considering her massive online following, it comes as little surprise that Rae’s announcement triggered a flood of hopeful fans — but this wouldn’t be the first time an internet star has shut down a public venue, by far. In fact, makeup mogul James Charles notably caused a traffic gridlock in Birmingham, England, with fans completely crowding the city’s Bullring shopping center to get a glimpse of the YouTuber as he opened a new Morphe store. TikTok star Alex Warren accused of copying YouTuber David Dobrik – Dexerto
TikTok star Alex Warren accused of copying YouTuber David Dobrik Alex Warren, David Dobrik – InstagramDavid Dobrik is one of YouTube’s most popular content creators, known for both his generosity and his chaotic short-form vlogs — a recipe that fans feel a famous TikTokker is trying to replicate. Dobrik’s famous 4 minute and 21 second vlogs have become a huge success on YouTube, featuring A-list celebrities and crazy antics with his friend group, popularly dubbed the “Vlog Squad.” The YouTuber, much like fellow content creator Mr Beast, is touted for his insane acts of generosity, known for giving away luxurious items like cars and even homes away to his friends and co-workers. However, it seems that his recipe for success is being copied by TikTokker and Hype House member Alex Warren — at least, fans believe it is, sounding off across social media how similar his content is to the YouTube star. That’s not all; Warren’s voice and mannerisms even sound similar to Dobrik’s, leading many critics to call him “creepy” and straight up accusing him of stealing his shtick. “I really feel like this Alex Warren guy just practices his laugh every night to sound more like David Dobrik, and it’s very creepy,” one user wrote via Twitter. i really feel like this alex warren guy just practices his laugh every night to sound more like david dobrik and it’s very creepy — ☻ (@thecoolarchive) April 14, 2020 “Why tf does no one talk about how Alex Warren is a David Dobrik knockoff?” another Tweeted. “He looks like he practices his laugh in the mirror.” https://twitter.com/glossibitch/status/1250863807053864962?s=20 A quick glance at Warren’s channel shows a striking similarity to Dobrik’s own videos, boasting all-caps titles with insane premises like, “CAUGHT HIM DOING THIS IN MY ROOM!” and “WALKING IN ON THEM IN MY BATHROOM!” While even is video format is similar to the star’s, Warren has also apparently directly used several of Dobrik’s ideas, such as trying a labor pain simulator and “ASKING HIS DREAM GIRL ON A DATE!” — issues he addressed in a video on the topic in February. While he admitted to being heavily inspired by Dobrik’s content, he privated the video shortly thereafter, and has since eschewed claims of copying the YouTuber, as stated during a video interview on the subject with YouTuber Drew Dirksen. While it’s common for smaller YouTubers to emulate the format of more successful content creators, fans are suspicious of Warren’s intentions — and he isn’t the only one to have undergone such scrutiny either, as in the infamous case of Morgz seemingly copying content from Mr Beast.

TikTok star Addison Rae hints at moving into streaming – Dexerto
TikTok star Addison Rae hints at moving into streaming Instagram: Addison Rae / TwitchOne of the biggest stars on TikTok, 19-year-old Addison Rae, might be making the move into streaming, after a fan suggested she team up with Corinna Kopf for some Fortnite action. Addison’s popularity has grown exponentially since she started posting on TikTok in Summer 2019, fast approaching the top 10 most followed accounts on the platform, with over 23 million fans at the time of writing. This number has risen sharply ever day for months, as has her following on other social media like Instagram and Twitter. But, despite her confidence on camera, Rae is yet to fully dive into streaming or YouTube. Like TikTok, livestreaming has been creating its own superstars in recent years, with the likes of Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins, Michael ‘shroud‘ Grzesiek and Dr Disrespect all celebrities in their own right. Meanwhile, Charlie D’Amelio and Addison, two of biggest names on TikTok right now, have been making TV appearances and cutting big promotional deals. So, why not try their hand at livestreaming video games? That’s exactly what one fan wants to see at least. With another suggesting Addison team up with one of most popular female streamers, Corinna Kopf, to broadcast some Fortnite games for their millions of fans. After Rae seemed to consider the idea and ask Corinna for her thoughts, the streamer, who moved to an exclusive deal on Facebook Gaming, was clearly in favor of the idea. 100 Thieves Twitch streamer BrookeAB also offered to duo up with Addison. Of course, while Corinna is tied to streaming Facebook, it doesn’t determine where Addison herself might stream. In fact, with all the competition between rival platforms, it might be time for Twitch, Mixer and YouTube to make moves to sign non-streamers like Addison to their platform. Securing streaming exclusivity for Addison Rae could be very beneficial to one of these platforms, as millions of TikTok fans would make their way over to her channel, wherever it is. For now, Addison Rae is undoubtedly busy with other commitments, as she and the other ‘Hype House’ members jet around the world making appearances and doing promotions. But, when she finds some time to get it setup, streaming could be her next venture.

According to local news reports, the boy attempted the challenge while being filmed by some of his friends before he began to seize. He was then hospitalized and ultimately lost his life six days later. The boy’s father issued a warning to parents in a statement to his local news station. “Keep an eye at what they’re doing on that phone,” he urged. Talk to them about the situation. I want everyone to know about my son.” TikTok addresses “dangerous” Benadryl Challenge after death of Ohio teen Now, TikTok has released a statement regarding the ‘Benadryl Challenge,’ stating they have blocked searches for the “dangerous” trend on their website. “Our deepest sympathies go out to the family,” a TikTok spokesperson said to Dexerto. “At TikTok, we strictly prohibit and remove content that promotes dangerous behavior with the safety of our community as a priority. We have never seen this type of content trend on our platform and have blocked searches for years to help discourage copycat behavior.” “Our team of 40,000 safety professionals works to remove violations of our Community Guidelines and we encourage our community to report any content or accounts they’re concerned about.” That’s not all; Johnson & Johnson, the creators of Benadryl, have also addressed the tragic situation, similarly dubbing the challenge as “dangerous.” “The challenge, which involves ingestion of excessive quantities of diphenhydramine, is a dangerous trend and should be stopped immediately,” they said in a statement published online. “BENADRYL® products and other diphenhydramine products should only be used as directed by the label.” This is just the latest tragic challenge to be removed by TikTok following the ‘blackout challenge’ that resulted in the deaths of several young people over the last two years.

TikTok sparks Jeffree Star and Kanye West affair rumors: a timeline – Dexerto
TikTok sparks Jeffree Star and Kanye West affair rumors: a timeline WikiMedia Commons: David Shakbone/Instagram: Jeffree StarBeauty YouTuber Jeffree Star has found himself caught up in yet another tsunami of drama after rumors of an affair with Kanye West have started to ramp up. Here’s everything that’s happened so far. YouTube beauty guru Jeffree Star is no stranger to drama and controversy. The makeup mogul has consistently found himself in the spotlight for one reason or another, but this time there are some pretty wild accusations floating around the internet. Recently fans have been scrutinizing the internet sensation after a shocking series of unfollows on Instagram implied a rift had developed between him and now former assistant, Maddie Taylor. Now fans have gone even further and are implicating Jeffree in a love affair with Kanye West, thanks to a rumor that started on TikTok and subsequently gained traction. But what exactly has happened so far? Jeffree Star and Kanye West rumors begin on TikTok After popular TikToker Ava Louise dropped a video discussing the rumored Kanye West and Kim Kardashian divorce situation, fans and Twitter users speculated that Jeffree Star has some involvement in the drama. Ava notes in her video that “Kanye’s been hooking up with a very famous beauty guru, male beauty guru, a lot of people in the scene have known for a while.” Ava then dropped a second video duetting her first one which claimed that she “was told by a source – a very good one” about the affair. The YouTuber has mentioned in several videos that his former Calabasas mansion was a stone’s throw away from the iconic rapper’s home, with some TikTok users finding it all too much of a coincidence. Jeffree is contacted about the rumors On January 6, Drama Alert’s Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem reached out to Star via text message asking him to elaborate on the bizarre rumors. In typical Jeffree Star fashion, the beauty guru didn’t give a firm answer, but instead made a lighthearted jab at the situation. “I’m having the best time in Wyoming,” he stated. “Come visit sometime!” Reached out to Jeffree Star for a statement based on the allegations that he is hooking up with Kanye West. #DramaAlert 😂 pic.twitter.com/Y6xfojGU45 — KEEM 🍿 (@KEEMSTAR) January 6, 2021 Jeffree adds fuel to rumors with cryptic tweets The popular beauty guru also appeared to reference Kanye’s church choir work on Sundays with yet another Tweet, further sparking the idea of a potential tryst between the two. https://twitter.com/jeffreestar/status/1346910597254844421?s=21 “Jeffree” trends on Twitter While there is no evidence other than Ava’s video to confirm this rumor, by this point the story had grown wings, and fans started to run with it. One fan remarked that “there’s no way the Kanye West and Jeffree Star thing is real, right?” A series of more humorous comments took over the trending feed though, specifically one iconic meme often used in relation to the beauty guru, writing that the video shows Jeffree’s reaction “when Kim came home early.” https://twitter.com/bklynightadieu/status/1346852935679021056 Jeffree likes memes about the situation on Twitter Not one to shy away from poking fun at his controversies, Jeffree Star has been liking a whole array of memes about the situation on Twitter, including a viral video likened to Jeffree running from Kim’s house that garnered almost 200,000 likes. I guess if this is a start to my new year, happy new year! …I really can’t, and if Kris Jenner organized this whole thing, happy new year, sweetie girl!” The video garnered millions of views within less than a day of being posted and seemed to put an end to the idea that there could be any truth to the rumors. Jeffree responds to Wendy Williams Fans were baffled after the strange topic even managed to make its way to Wendy Williams’ show, describing the beauty guru as “dressing in various hairs,” calling him “thin, like twink thin.” She also added that “he’s got really loose lips and he does a lot of talking.” If she only knew about the actual rappers who have visited my mouth 😂😂 Taking that shit to the grave miss thing. https://t.co/YLdCRwT2TM — Jeffree Star (@JeffreeStar) January 7, 2021 The clip made its way onto Jeffree’s feed, and he retweeted it with the caption, “if she only knew about the actual rappers who have visited my mouth. Taking that sh*t to the grave miss thing.” This cryptic message definitely has many fans curious about who the rappers could be, and may well even start up more theories. Ava Louise admits she made the whole scandal up Ava Louise, the TikToker behind the initial rumors, appeared to admit that she’d completely fabricated the entire story, as told by purportedly leaked audio in a text message that has made the rounds online. “I’m literally not even getting sued,” Louise can be heard saying in the audio clip. “I made the entire scandal up. There is literally not one bit of truth to anything I have said. I just tricked the entire world into talking about me again because I was on a lot of Adderall.” ok ppl in my DMs saying Ava Louise didn’t lie about Kanye and Jeffree here’s a voice message now leave me alone(got this from tiktok) pic.twitter.com/8DZLYi4VJx — mars (@mars132001) January 8, 2021 That’s not all; Ava even admitted to profiting off the drama, claiming she made $15,000 in the three days the rumors took hold of the internet. While the internet finally has the answers they were looking for, it may not prevent the theory from continuing to spread on TikTok. However, whether there will be any further developments in the bizarre rumors remains to be seen.

TikTok snail meme: Immortal snail trend explained – Dexerto
TikTok snail meme: Immortal snail trend explained Unsplash: Alexey Savchenko/TikTokSome TikTok users have become obsessed with the ‘Immortal Snail’ question, producing some hilarious memes along the way. But, what’s it all about? TikTok has become home to a whole host of different memes and trends, with users usually giving their take in unique ways, helping create spin-offs of the meme itself. Most recently, users have become obsessed with the Immortal Snail question. It’s a classic internet hypothetical that stems from an old RoosterTeeth podcast where you’re paid a certain amount of money and granted immortality, but will be followed by a snail, that can end your life with one touch, for the rest of your life. With it being a snail, many users quickly ‘take’ the money knowing they can outrun the slow-moving assassin at a walking pace but it often creates some funny conversation, and now TikTok is getting in on the act. What is the TikTok snail meme? The hypothetical has been doing the rounds on the video-sharing platform for a few days, with plenty of users keeping the context behind the question out of their post, just referring to ‘the snail.’ Naturally, this has meant that some have had to explain the meme to confused followers, breaking down just exactly how they’d play out the scenario as if it were actually real. Some would just ship the snail off and never worry about it again while others would try and befriend it. Other users have used classic moments from tv shows, movies, and video games to show how their final standoff with the snail would go, some joking that it may end all of time and space if they fight. https://www.tiktok.com/@doc_.ock/video/7021517383659441414 https://www.tiktok.com/@booshbooshboosh/video/7018725042229955845 https://www.tiktok.com/@balls.zip/video/7021526752996461825?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1 Plenty of users have started angling their accounts around the hypothetical too, changing their picture to be a snail and chasing users around in comment sections. With the hypothetical question being such a staple of the internet, it won’t be long before it comes back around again at some point as someone has a new take on it, but by then, most people should know what its all about.

TikTok slammed as AI videos of murder victim go viral – Dexerto
TikTok slammed as AI videos of murder victim go viral TikTok/ITVMom of James Bulger, victim of one of the most infamous murders in British history, has slammed TikTok after finding AI videos of her son explaining his own murder to viewers. It’s now been over 30 years since two-year-old James Bulger was kidnapped, tortured, and killed by two 10-year-old boys in Bootle, England. James’ mom, Denise Fergus, has now slammed the social media app TikTok after coming across AI videos where a picture of her son has been made look alive to tell the story of the murder. Denise argued that the clips circulating on TikTok are exploiting his killing and have forced her to relive the horror all over again. James Bulger’s mom opens up about “disturbing” AI videos Denise told the Mirror: “It is bringing a dead child back to life. It is beyond sick.” In the video, an AI-generated toddler says: “Hello, my name is James Bulger.” He goes on to narrate details from the abduction and murder, with some of the shots set near railway tracks – which was where James’s body was found. Denise told the Mirror the most upsetting thing was watching one clip that bore a striking resemblance to a photo of her son, with his lips moving. She said: “It is one thing to tell the story, I have not got a problem with that. Everyone knows the story of James anyway. “But to actually put a dead child’s face, speaking about what happened to him, is absolutely disgusting.” Along with the video of James are similar videos of other child murder or kidnapping victims, including Madeleine McCann and Baby P. The family pleaded to have TikTok remove the videos Denise’s husband said he managed to track down one of the producers behind the clips and pleaded for them to be taken down. But he received a reply saying: “We do not intend to offend anyone. We only do these videos to make sure incidents will never happen again to anyone. “Please continue to support and share my page to spread awareness.” TikTok said it had removed several videos flagged with them and taken action against the accounts, adding: “We want TikTok to be a welcoming place for everyone, and there is no place on our platform for disturbing content of this nature. “Our Community Guidelines are clear that we do not allow synthetic media that contains the likeness of a young person. We continue to remove content of this nature as we find it.”

TikTok shuts down its $2 billion content creator fund – Dexerto
TikTok shuts down its $2 billion content creator fund Unsplash: May GauthierTikTok has decided to bring an end to its Creator Fund, a $2 billion program that was meant to encourage content creators to use the site as a platform to grow. The Creator Fund was first launched in 2020, with the goal of adding financial incentives to the most prolific creators on the site. At launch, TikTok claimed that the fund would “help support ambitious creators who are seeking opportunities to foster a livelihood through their innovative content”, by distributing the cash between creators who accumulated a large enough slice of the site’s views. However, the scheme has been under fire from the creators it was designed to help ever since it launched. Many of TikTok’s most prominent content creators said that the scheme gatekept funding, and that it made it harder to monetize content creation on the platform. TikTok closes down creator fund after monetization complaints Most notably, Hank Green described the scheme as “outdated”- and brought the receipts from his own funding based on his own viewing numbers to prove it. The social will stop the funding on December 16th this year for the UK, France and America, according to several industry sources, including The Verge. TikTok later confirmed that this was the case, but the social media giant has not released any more information about the closure. The Creator Fund’s closure comes just a few months after the launch of the Creativity Program, which would perform a similar task, but has been changed to factor in feedback from the original fund. The program is still in beta stages at time of writing. Tell them to come apologize, right now.” Passenger clashes with flight attendant in viral TikTok The situation escalated as the flight attendant approached the angry passenger to inform him he is going to be removed from the flight. “Bring the police here, bring them here … I’m gonna wait here all night,” he responded. “Unless you carry my kids out, force them out, we’re not leaving.” The flight attendant then tells the man to not be rude to her crew, saying, “Unfortunately, sir, you were swearing at my crew. You can’t upset my crew.” “You’re getting angry at my wife because both of [my kids] are double teething,” he says before yelling, “You can’t upset my family and kids. What are you talking about, ‘you can’t upset my crew’. My wife’s crying.” The passenger then tells the crew to “get out of my face” before they walk away. TikToker shows insane 16-inch Domino’s pizza order with $275 worth of toppings Unsplash / TikTokA TikTok user has left thousands of users laughing their heads off after ordering a 16-inch pizza at Domino’s with over $275 worth of toppings – but did they actually eat it? Everybody has their favorite pizza order from Domino’s – some like a deep pan, others opt for thin and crispy. As for the toppings, that’s where customers can get creative. With a wide variety of options on the menu, often people say things like “I wish I could have everything…” Well, this TikToker has taken that expression a little too literally. TikToker stuns Domino’s staff with $275 pizza order In a short clip posted by user g35ryan, he decides to pull a cheeky prank on the workers of Domino’s Pizza. He shows the order screen which reveals a total bill of $275.09. The caption of the video says: “These Dominos employees finna regret working here”. The order consisted of a single 16-inch pizza with 6 different types of sauce, and a ridiculously long list of triple toppings ranging from sausage and bacon to mushroom and pineapple. Did they actually eat it? The unusually large pizza has received over 300,000 views and it’s garnered mixed reactions. One user joked that the order was relatable, commenting “my regular order”. Another user did not see the funny side, commenting “I work in fast food and I would legit cry and scream bro”. However, the original poster – his real name is Ryan Cook – admitted that he did not actually place the order, but instead was just fooling around for content. When a user asked him how he could order an excessive amount of toppings in one go, he responded that “it would work probably I didn’t place it cause it would get me in sh*t lol”. The content creator claimed in another comment that he would try to put the order through the next day, although there have been no follow-ups since then.

TikTok shows the moment woman is arrested after giving $20 to a flower vendor – Dexerto
TikTok shows the moment woman is arrested after giving $20 to a flower vendor TikTok: arelyyy38A woman has been arrested after she spotted a flower vendor and decided to donate $20, only to be met with arresting officers and little to no communication. Norma Garcia was the flower vendor in question and was already under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO). This was because she’d been warned multiple times about selling flowers on the highways. Despite these warnings, Garcia continued. In violation of county ordinance, the police arrived to inform Garcia that she was under arrest for illegally selling merchandise on Imperial Parkway, but not everyone was willing to comply… Annika Olsen, 24, witnessed the arrest and attempted to hand Garcia money, $20, which police said created a traffic hazard. “I just saw the woman, and she looks like she’s always out there, And it’s so hot outside,” Olsen said. Getting out of her vehicle to pay Garcia. Olsen was instead “slammed” by police on top of a cop car, without any of the officers reading her Miranda Rights. “They did not tell me that they were arresting me before they had like slammed me on top of that cop car,” Olsen said. “Like, they never said put your hands behind your back. They never said, ‘You’re under arrest.’ I was literally just slammed on top of a cop car.” The moment was captured on camera by a passerby who posted the interaction to TikTok. It has reached a large audience already, with 241,000 likes so far. Police have since explained that Olsen had refused to move her car and was actually arrested for refusing to comply and resisting an officer without violence. TikTok split over color of shirt in aspynovard’s viral video: Blue or green? – Dexerto
TikTok split over color of shirt in aspynovard’s viral video: Blue or green? TikTok: aspynovardTikTok has been divided by a video of aspynovard’s daughter in what she claims is a blue shirt — but not everyone is convinced that it actually is blue. Over the years there have been several controversial debates online that have all stemmed from the ambiguous colors of certain items. First, there was the infamous dress, which some people claimed to be black and blue and others claimed to be white and gold, in a debate that dominated social media. Then there were the shoes that some thought were pink and white, and others thought were grey and teal. There have been plenty of other instances just like it since, and the latest debate was started after TikToker aspynovard uploaded a video of her daughter wearing a supposedly “blue” shirt to match her dad in an adorable video. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load However, while viewers loved the clip, people quickly left hundreds of comments claiming that the shirt is actually green. “Who else is seeing green?” one user wrote, another saying, “there is not one hint of blue in that shirt hon.” But Aspyn was committed to her original description of the color, and made several other videos showing the controversial shirt from different angles, and maintaining that it was blue. Then, in a twist of events, the TikToker went online to find the record of her order, and found that the shirt was in fact listed as being “sea green,” much to viewers’ amusement. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The original video now has over a million views, and the comments have been flooded by people defending their side of the debate. Even though the item turned out to be sea green, the debate still rages on as the videos make their way across TikTok.

TikTok shocked by cost of single chicken nugget on McDonald’s touch screen – Dexerto
TikTok shocked by cost of single chicken nugget on McDonald’s touch screen Unsplash.com: Frenando AndradeTikTok viewers were confused after a McDonald’s customer ordered a single chicken nugget on the chain’s touchscreen menu — but were left appalled by how much it cost. TikTok is a haven for viral fast-food content. From Subway customers demanding refunds after finding acrylic nails in their sandwiches to a certain McDonald’s coffee order that’s going viral online, there’s no shortage of wild stories and trending goodies from fast food chains on the app. However, the latest viral video taken from a fast-food joint is collectively making users across TikTok scratch their heads — while leaving them wide-eyed in shock at the same time. McDonald’s is known for a bevy of iconic food items, but some of its most popular fares are its chicken nuggets. It’s common knowledge that there are a few different sizes of chicken nugget orders that customers can purchase. Generally, foodies can get a 4, 6, 10, or even 20 piece nugget meal… but they can also snag a 40 piece if they’re feeling seriously peckish. However, most McDonald’s lovers were unaware that it’s possible to order a single chicken nugget on the fast food chain’s touch screen menus in certain countries — something they discovered after a TikToker showed them in a viral video. TikToker shocks internet with price of single chicken nugget at Swiss McDonald’s In December, a TikToker in Switzerland uploaded a video showing themselves making an order at their local McDonald’s. In the short clip, they roll up to the touch screen menu and choose an option for a single chicken nugget. While that’s an unusual option in American McDonald’s locations, viewers were left stunned to see that it cost 1.20 in Swiss Francs — about $1.40 USD. “1.20 FOR ONE NUGGET?” one shocked viewer commented. “No wonder I spent 20€ on one menu in Switzerland,” another said. “I SAW THAT AND I WAS LIKE – okay? It’s not even worth it,” yet another said. The clip has sparked quite the conversation on the price of fast food in other countries besides America, as well as the different food options at McDonald’s locations around the world that the US doesn’t offer.

TikTok set to sue US government following “unconstitutional” ban – Dexerto
TikTok set to sue US government following “unconstitutional” ban UnsplashThere was outrage across the internet when people found out about President Donald Trump’s plans to ban TikTok in the US. But it looks like the popular video-sharing app isn’t going down without a fight, as they launch plans to sue Trump’s administration. On August 6th, Trump signed an executive order that bans TikTok owners Bytedance from making any transactions in the US starting September 20th. The order claimed that “TikTok automatically captures vast swaths of information from its users, including Internet and other network activity information such as location data and browsing and search histories.” In order to protect themselves, Bytedance has been in talks to sell the US operations on to another company, with Microsoft seeming to be the most likely buyer. But with September 20th creeping ever closer, Bytedance have taken a more direct approach to preventing the ban by announcing they would be suing Trump’s administration, possibly as soon as Tuesday, August 11. According to National Public Radio, the lawsuit will argue that the ban is “unconstitutional” because Bytedance wasn’t given a chance to respond to the US administration. The company also claims that the ban is based on “pure speculation and conjecture.” Trump’s administration has not yet responded to the threat of a lawsuit, but a spokesman for the White House Judd Deere claimed they were committed to protecting the American people from all cyber-related threats to critical infrastructure, public health and safety, and our economic and national security.” What’s the real reason behind the ban? While Trump claims that personal data-mining is the reason for the ban, some theories have pointed to an alternative motive. In June, TikTok users registered for thousands of tickets to a Trump rally with no intention of ever turning up. The rally was held at the BOK center, which has a 19,000 seat capacity, but only 6200 tickets were ever actually scanned in. While there’s no guessing what the outcome of this bitter battle between US administration and Bytedance will be, it will certainly be interesting to see who will end off worse off. And if the ban does go ahead, how will the huge US TikTok userbase deal with it?

He surpassed the former most-followed creator Charli D’Amelio in June, and he has continued his reign in top spot ever since, much to fans’ delight. Soon you will be contacted by the local office notifying you about your oath. Good luck.” Speaking to reporters about being granted citizenship, Khaby reportedly said that he’s “very proud” and that he feels “a great responsibility for the oath” he took. He added: “It is not that before, before signing, I didn’t feel Italian, so very little has changed. But now I am officially Italian, on paper.” Khaby is best known for his hilarious wordless reactions to some of the internet’s most useless life hacks and craziest videos, and he has racked up an astonishing amount of views and likes on his content.

TikTok screen time limits: New rules for users under 18 – Dexerto
TikTok screen time limits: New rules for users under 18 Unsplash: Oliver BergeronTikTok has rolled out new features that will limit screen time for teenagers under the age of 18 — here’s everything you need to know. The social media giant is introducing new settings that are meant to reduce how much time teens are spending in the platform. On March 1, TikTok revealed that it will automatically default users under the age of 18 to a daily screen time limit of 60 minutes. Teens can still bypass the daily limit, but they’ll be required to enter a passcode, “requiring them to make an active decision to extend that time.” TikTok said that in first month of testing, this approach increased the use of its screen time management tools by 234%. Additionally, if users under 18 opt to turn off the screen time limit altogether, TikTok will further prompt them to set a limit if they spend more than 100 minutes in the app. TikTok introduces new parental control feature TikTok has also updated its ‘Family Pairing’ feature introduced in 2020, giving parents the ability to monitor their children’s activity’s on the platform. With the new feature, parents will be able to set their own custom screen time limits, and view a dashboard that details stats about their child’s time in the app. The dashboard will provide them with summaries of how often they use the app, the number of times TikTok was opened, and a breakdown of the total time spent during the day and night. Parents can also set a schedule for when their kids can receive notifications, and choose to filter topics they don’t want to appear in their For You Pages. In addition, the app is also introducing a sleep reminder that lets parents and regular users turn off notifications, and receive a pop-up reminding them to log off at bedtime. TikTok has not yet confirmed an exact date for the rollout, but said it would be “in the coming weeks.”

Addison Rae’s ‘He’s All That’ is being roasted on TikTok for hilarious continuity errors – Dexerto
Addison Rae’s ‘He’s All That’ is being roasted on TikTok for hilarious continuity errors NetflixAddison Rae’s taken her first steps as a full-fledged actress by starring in ‘He’s All That,’ a remake of the popular 90’s rom-com ‘She’s All That.’ But ever since it released on August 27, the film has been met with mixed reviews, and so has her performance. Addison begged fans to give her acting career a chance, claiming it’s something she’s always been passionate about. While some have obliged, many others are still roasting the movie, especially after spotting some hilarious continuity errors. In the first instance, fans spotted a scene where Addison’s character, Padgett Sawyer, is having a conversation with another character. But hilariously, her mouth doesn’t move at all sometimes when she’s uttering some words, leaving fans wondering how on earth it made the final cut. In the second instance, there’s a scene where Addison is handing out flyers to other students as she passes them. But after handing out one or two, it cuts to an angle where she isn’t handing out anything at all, just making the motion. And the sound effects they added in post-production make it even funnier. ‘He’s All That’ is far from being critically acclaimed. It’s currently sitting on 4.4 on IMDb and 33% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t be popular. More and more people are watching it by the minute – even if it’s only to have a good laugh.

TikTok rolling out new video-scrubbing thumbnail feature – Dexerto
TikTok rolling out new video-scrubbing thumbnail feature Unsplash: Olivier BergeronTikTok is reportedly rolling out a feature to more users that allows you to view video thumbnails as you scrub through videos — here’s what you need to know about it. Short-form video platform TikTok is one of the most popular apps in the world, and they are constantly adding new features to make uploading and interacting with content on the app easier. Earlier in 2022, the platform started to allow users to make ten-minute-long videos, extending it from the previous maximum limit of three minutes, and plenty of users have been taking full advantage of this ability. While you could already use a scrubbing bar along the bottom of longer posts to skip through the video, users are now reporting that TikTok is also adding the ability to view a thumbnail of the video in question while scrubbing. On January 5, Social Media Consultant Matt Navarra shared a video demonstrating this convenient feature. The scrubbing-bar thumbnails work in pretty much the same way as they do on the YouTube app. Users with access to the feature will just need to drag the dot across the white bar at the bottom of the screen, above which should appear an image preview of which part of the video you are hovering over. Then, just let go of the dot to skip to that part of the video. It’s not clear whether this feature will be rolled out to everyone at some point, so if you don’t currently have access, it may just be a matter of waiting until it’s extended to more regions and devices. Regardless, the feature is a welcome one for many, who prefer to skip ahead to the important parts of longer videos on TikTok.

Awa_de_horchata_uwu’s… llama dance? Perhaps the hardest to explain on this list, we’ve got a llama (or maybe an alpaca) dancing to the popular Mi Pan Su Sus sound. Despite the insanity of the video, it racked up over 146m views and 17m likes, so it clearly struck a chord with a considerable number of people this year. 5. Will Smith wipes it down Will Smith might be best known for his work in some of the biggest films and TV shows of this century, he’s no stranger to TikTok, either. In fact, he picked up a ludicrous 260m views doing this “wipe it down” challenge — transitioning between his regular self and his Men in Black character, Agent J. 4. Jalaiah Harmon shows off her Renegade at NBA All-Star Game The Renegade is one of the most popular dances on TikTok, and the creator of it all, Jalaiah Harmon, got to show off her famous moves at the NBA All-Star game. Caitlin Reilly captures the real WFH nightmare With much of the world having to work from home throughout 2020, we’ve all become very familiar with Zoom — but Caitlin’s impression of everyone’s least favorite colleague during a Zoom meeting was perfectly relatable. Doggface208 with the perfect vibe Doggface208 might not be a huge name on TikTok, but you’ve definitely seen this video by now: just him, skating down the street, listening to Fleetwood Mac and drinking his cranberry juice. Doggface not only passes the vibe check but sets new standards for it, even earning himself a new truck from the cranberry juice producer, Ocean Spray, as a thanks for his 72m views video. 1. Bella Poarch’s ‘M to the B’ is TikTok perfection The concept of this video is so simple it’s absurd, but Poarch’s head bobs coinciding perfectly with the M to the B beat gave her TikTok’s most viewed video of all time in 2020. Over 500m views later, Poarch has become a star on TikTok and only seems to be moving on to bigger and better things, proving that you can really create something magical out of almost nothing. So, those are the ten videos TikTok have named their most viral of 2020, and if you haven’t seen these already you must have been living under a rock. Of course, there’s no surprises seeing the likes of Bella Poarch and doggface208 up at the top, but it begs the question: Which creators and video ideas will dominate the viral charts in 2021?

TikTok restaurant server forced to take orders after customer died in bathroom – Dexerto
TikTok restaurant server forced to take orders after customer died in bathroom TikTok/itsbritneybitch131/PixabayA shared her biggest horror stories working as a restaurant server and shocked the internet by revealing she had to take orders even as a dead body was being removed from the building. Throughout the years, we’ve seen dozens of kitchen nightmares on TikTok, but this story from user ‘itsbritneybitch131’ might just be the most disturbing of them all. In a video on the platform that’s slowly going viral, the Indiana woman explained that the incident happened at a past job where she worked as a server. According to Britney, the horrifying experience happened just this past summer when a customer choked and died in the restaurant bathroom. Despite the deceased’s wife being on her knees in a traumatic state, business continued as normal. TikToker forced to serve food as body wheeled out of restaurant The server continued on, explaining how employees at the establishment were forced to keep bringing food to customers and taking orders, even with there being a dead body in the bathroom. “We kept serving people and when they were taking his body out in the bodybag, I was taking table 31’s food to them,” she said while putting some makeup on her face. (click here if TikTok fails to load) Amazingly, that wasn’t the only horrifying story that she shared. In addition to the dead body, when mold was discovered on “all of the food” and in all of the fridges, the server said the restaurant’s GM swept it under the table. “He told us we didn’t have the money to replace it and told us to never talk about it again,” she revealed. It’s not clear if the mold was related to the customer choking to death in the bathroom, but it certainly sounds like she’s had a rough time career-wise. She’s not the only one to warn viewers about being a server either. Notably, Joe Rogan shared his own troubled experiences when he dated someone who worked in the restaurant industry, saying how the job made her “f**king miserable.”

TikTok responds after FBI labels platform “national security concern” – Dexerto
TikTok responds after FBI labels platform “national security concern” Unsplash.com: Alexander ShatovA TikTok spokesperson has responded after FBI Chief Chris Wray labeled the platform a national security concern in a Tuesday hearing at Congress. TikTok continues to face scrutiny from officials in the United States, as FBI Chief Chris Wray cited worries about the platform during a Congressional hearing on Tuesday, November 15. During the hearing, Wray cited concerns that TikTok could be used to control software on users’ devices, as well as the site’s algorithm, among other proposed issues. “We do have national security concerns, obviously from the FBI’s end, about TikTok,” Wray said. “They include the possibility that the Chinese government could use it to control data collection on millions of users, or control the recommendation algorithm which could be used for influence operations if they so choose, or to control software on millions of devices.” TikTok spokesperson responds to FBI security concerns As per reports from Reuters, a TikTok spokesperson has since responded to Wray’s comments, stating that the platform is continuing its negotiations with the American government. “As Director Wray specified in his remarks, the FBI’s input is being considered as part of our ongoing negotiations with the U.S. Government,” the spokesperson said. “While we can’t comment on the specifics of those confidential discussions, we are confident that we are on a path to fully satisfy all reasonable U.S. national security concerns.” Wray’s statement follows previous remarks from FCC commissioner Brendan Carr in June 2022, who called for the popular video-sharing app to be banned in the United States due to security concerns. “TikTok collects everything from search and browsing histories to keystroke patterns and biometric identifiers, including faceprints — which researchers have said might be used in unrelated facial recognition technology — and voiceprints,” Wray said. For now, the app continues to be one of the most popular social platforms in the world, having crushed search results in 2021 — even beating out Google.

TikTok responds to hackers’ claims of data breach affecting over 1 billion users – Dexerto
TikTok responds to hackers’ claims of data breach affecting over 1 billion users Unsplash: Solen FeyissaTikTok has responded to claims of a huge data breach, with hackers claiming they have exploited an insecure server that contains personal information of the platform’s users. In early September, hackers on a Breach Forum messageboard claimed to have accessed around 34GB of data by exploiting an insecure server containing the personal information of potentially over a billion TikTok users. “We have to decide if we want to sell it or release it to the public,” one user wrote. “About 1.37 billion entries have been pulled.” They claimed that the entries are from “all over the world” and that the data, “contains a lot of underaged people.” However, speaking to The Independent, a TikTok spokesperson reportedly denied that any breach had occurred, and also claimed that the high-severity vulnerability identified by Microsoft, which was reported in a blog post on August 31, “is completely unrelated” to TikTok’s backend source code. “TikTok prioritizes the privacy and security of our users’ data,” the spokesperson said. “Our security team investigated these claims and found no evidence of a security breach.” Troy Hunt, security researcher and creator of Have I Been Pwned, analyzed a sample of the files listed on the forum, sharing his findings with Twitter. In one post he wrote: “This is so far pretty inconclusive; some data matches production info, albeit publicly accessible info. Some data is junk, but it could be non-production or test data. It’s a bit of a mixed bag so far.” Although it is not clear whether users are at risk as a result of this alleged breach, users are encouraged to change their password regularly and use two-factor authentication in order to keep their accounts safe. TikTok continues to be one of the most popular social media platforms, with new users joining at a rapid rate.

TikTok reportedly developing a Spotify and Apple Music rival – Dexerto
TikTok reportedly developing a Spotify and Apple Music rival Unsplash: Solen FeyissaTikTok could potentially be developing a rival to Spotify and Apple Music, after it was reported that the company filed a trademark application for ‘TikTok Music.’ Short-form video platform TikTok has become one of the biggest influences in social media, with apps like Instagram even pivoting their focus to video content thanks to the enormous popularity of the ByteDance-owned platform. Music has always been a fundamental part of the platform’s content, and the app has caused countless songs and artists to blow up, making it one of the main ways many artists now promote their music. Now, it looks like TikTok could be set to expand into the music streaming business. According to Business Insider, in May, ByteDance filed a trademark application for ‘TikTok Music’ with the US Patent and Trademark Office. This phrase reportedly is applied to a range of goods and services, “including a mobile app that would allow users to ‘purchase, play, share, download music, songs, albums, lyrics.’” This wouldn’t be the company’s first venture into the music streaming business, as they already run the streaming app Resso in India, Brazil, and Indonesia. Filing for the trademark isn’t a guarantee that the app will come to fruition, but if they do end up launching TikTok Music, it could prove to be a huge competitor for music streaming giants Spotify and Apple Music. Music continues to be a vital part of much of TikTok’s content, with many videos utilizing popular ‘Sounds’ or audios in order to jump on viral trends and get more eyes on their videos.

TikTok reportedly has secret button to make any video go viral instantly – Dexerto
TikTok reportedly has secret button to make any video go viral instantly UNSPLASH: SOLEN FEYISSATikTok reportedly has a ‘secret’ button that employees can use to “heat” up videos and make them go viral, and it apparently prompted some massive successes. As TikTok has shifted away from its early days of lip-syncing song videos and dance routines, its become home to a wide range of content. Pretty much every interest and niche is accounted for at this point. Naturally, its become the go-to platform for viral videos, much like YouTube in its early days. We’ve seen everything from break-up drama, to fights, and unusual quizzes take off on TikTok before spreading to other platforms. However, if you’ve wondered why some videos seem to take off more than others, it appears that TikTok – well, ByteDance, the owners – have the ability to “heat” up videos and push them to more users. TikTok apparently has “heating” up button to make videos go viral That’s according to a report from Forbes, which states that they’ve spoken to six current and former employees of TikTok, and have also shown the outlet internal documents. As per Forbes’ report, TikTok employees are able to “secretly hand-pick specific videos” in a process they call “heating” which pushes them more heavily to users than other posts. These videos can account for almost 2% of the platform’s total viewing figures for the day, which they label as a “significant impact.” This has apparently been used to entice influencers and brands into using the platform, inflating their view counts to bring about partnerships between themselves and TikTok. TikTok told Forbes that heating is used to “diversify the content experience” and that only a “few” US-based employees are able to approve the use of it. Though, it is also supposed to be used to “push important information.” Some US states have already banned the use of TikTok on governmental devices due to cybersecurity concerns, but there’s no telling if that will ramp up following the report.

If I was one of the first few people to post it, I would go viral too.” He went on to explain that with some “Hollywood magic” and good angles, he was able to make it look like the car in the viral clip. Dom even detailed that he and his friends had to record the voiceovers as the original ones did not line up with their video. The former Vlog Squad member said: “From changing one clip to another, we fooled all of America. This goes to show you, you can’t believe everything you see online. Most of the things you see online are fake and meant to get clicks because more clicks mean more money.” As Dom ended the video, he revealed that just before he uploaded the video — TikTok removed his account from the platform. While he doesn’t know the exact reason, the former Vlog Squad member believes it was for the controversy his videos caused. TikTok is removing “dangerous” Milk Crate Challenge videos after serious injuries occur TikTok: mrkilliansexton, vanessalomakTikTok is taking steps to mitigate videos showing “dangerous acts” on its platform by removing Milk Crate Challenge clips after medical professionals cautioned against the trend. TikTok has become quite the haven for trends and memes on the internet these days. Birthing everything from vintage hair hacks to viral pasta recipes and more, TikTok is the public square for all things hip and happening. However, not every TikTok craze is worth taking part in. In fact, plenty of dangerous trends have popped up on the platform in the past, including things like the Nutmeg Challenge and even a garlic-up-the-nose sinus cleanse. The latest unsafe trend on the site involves a mountain of milk crates. Challengers must both ascend and descend the unstable stack of boxes without falling to the ground — a task that is easier said than done. Surgeons claim injuries are resulting from the Milk Crate Challenge In fact, so many injuries have been resulting from the challenge that medical professionals are urging TikTok users to pass on this particular contest. TikTok psychics come under fire for “channeling” spirit of Gabby Petito – Dexerto
TikTok psychics come under fire for “channeling” spirit of Gabby Petito Instagram: gabspetitoTikTok “psychics” are facing intense backlash across social media for their videos attempting to “channel” the spirit of influencer Gabby Petito, who was recently confirmed deceased and a victim of homicide. The internet is still reeling from the latest news regarding Gabby Petito, a travel vlogger who was documenting her cross-country road trip with fiancé Brian Laundrie when she went missing. Laundrie and Petito were caught on police body cam footage after a domestic dispute nearly two weeks before her last Instagram post on August 25. On September 1, Laundrie returned home in the same van he’d been traveling in with Petito — but this time, he was alone. Petito has since been confirmed deceased and the victim of a homicide, according to coroners, while Laundrie remains missing. The situation has sparked outrage and concern across the internet, with fans and followers of Petito expressing their heartfelt condolences to her family… but not everyone is pleased with how some netizens are behaving amid the news. A few TikTok “psychics” have attempted to “channel” Petito’s spirit in wake of the latest updates regarding her ongoing case, and commenters are not happy about it. TikToker ‘Kelly the Magical Medium’ uploaded a video on September 16 — well before news regarding Petito’s death was confirmed on September 21— claiming to have had ‘visions’ regarding Petito’s case, making several statements regarding Laundrie in the process. Another TikTok medium, by the username ‘Kelsii Daviess,’ similarly “read” into Petito’s most recent photos, claiming that she saw visions of Petito “crying a lot, like I feel like she was not in a good place before whatever happened.” These TikToks have sparked outrage online, with a slew of commenters decrying the psychics’ videos as “disrespectful,” “inappropriate,” and “f**ked up” amid the ongoing case. This isn’t the first time that such a trend has taken over Petito’s story, either. Recently, a “true crime” trend appeared around the vlogger’s case, similarly sparking backlash for potentially spreading misinformation regarding the investigation and, overall, being shockingly insensitive to the victim’s family. Coroners have not disclosed a cause of death at the time of writing and authorities continue to search for Laundrie.

TikTok is making “big push” into gaming starting with new minigames Unsplash: Árpád CzappAccording to new reports, TikTok is set to make a “big push” into gaming, starting with new minigames that users will be able to play on the video-sharing app. ByteDance-owned TikTok is one of the biggest social media platforms out there right now, with millions of users and a huge amount of content being uploaded on a daily basis. While it was originally known as an app for lip-syncing and dance videos, in the years since it first launched the community has grown so large that you can find just about every type of video on the platform, including comedy, fashion, beauty, fitness, and more. The app has been adding new features on a constant basis over the years, including the relatively recent addition of the ‘stories’ feature. Now, according to a new report from Reuters, TikTok is set to make a “major push” into gaming. According to the outlet’s sources, TikTok has been conducting tests in Vietnam so that users are able to play games from within the app on their devices. While the app is reportedly set to start off with minigames “which tend to have simple gameplay mechanisms and a short playing time,” their ambitions go beyond just that. A TikTok representative told Reuters: “We’re always looking at ways to enrich our platform and regularly test new features and integrations that bring value to our community.” TikTok has experimented with games in the app previously, such as the ‘Garden of Good’ game in 2021, and users of the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, have had games since 2019. With the tests starting in Vietnam, it’s not clear how long it will take for more games to be introduced to other countries, but if the trials go well, users could find themselves spending more time on TikTok than ever before.

TikTok is bringing back profile views and users aren’t happy – Dexerto
TikTok is bringing back profile views and users aren’t happy Unsplash: Aaron WeissSome TikTok users have reported that the ‘profile view history’ feature has returned to their account, and many aren’t pleased about the old feature making a comeback. A few years ago, when you visited someone’s profile on short-form video app TikTok, the owner of the account would get a notification to let them know who was looking at their profile. The feature meant people got a good idea of exactly who was checking out their account, but it was one that was disliked by many too. Eventually, the profile views feature was removed from the platform, and it’s been gone for some time now. However, in January, there were reports that TikTok was working on bringing back the feature that people would be able to opt in to. TikTok is working on a LinkedIn-like Profile Views feature The feature will let you view who visited your TikTok profile in the past 30 days. h/t @adrianokev1 pic.twitter.com/eMnYtgyUq0 — Matt Navarra (I quit X. Follow me on Threads) (@MattNavarra) January 23, 2022 In February, a number of TikTok users reported that the app had brought the profile views feature back, and many were quick to share their thoughts on the addition online. “TikTok just brought profile viewing back … it’s over for a lot of y’all,” one user wrote, another saying: “TikTok creating ‘profile views’ feature is doing everyone dirty.” https://twitter.com/taamriddlz/status/1494428857067261954 https://twitter.com/shberii/status/1494372102622748673 Currently, it appears as though the feature is not available for everyone, though whether it will eventually be rolled out to the whole platform remains to be seen. If the initial reports about the feature prove to be correct, “only viewers who turned on their profile view history and viewed your profile in the past 30 days will be shown.” However, it isn’t totally clear what the exact rules are as the feature is reintegrated into the platform. Although not everyone is delighted to see the feature return, there may be some who welcome it, especially if it’s on an opt-in basis.

TikTok Privacy Policy update infuriating users with pop up message – Dexerto
TikTok Privacy Policy update infuriating users with pop up message TikTokTikTokers are complaining en-masse after a pop-up message regarding the app’s privacy policy just won’t disappear. As the fastest-growing app in the world, TikTok needs to update its policies often to keep up with the rate of demand, however, the interface isn’t perfect and when something goes wrong, it affects millions of its daily users. The short-video platform updated its privacy policy on June 2, adding more details about collecting user data including what information they take, and what it is used for. Users are usually notified of these changes shortly after the update once they log into the app where they must tap to accept. TikTok prankster shocked after fake coupon gets him free Arby’s sandwich – Dexerto
TikTok prankster shocked after fake coupon gets him free Arby’s sandwich TikTok/kingzehnNo shirt, no shoes, free sandwich? A TikTok prankster is going viral after his strange fake coupon actually worked at an Arby’s and resulted in him getting free food. If you’ve ever been on TikTok, chances are you’ve stumbled across a video of someone trolling employees at a store or fast food joint by asking a ridiculous question or using a hack to get free items off the menu. Others, such as King Zehn, go the extra mile and really commit to their troll. For instance, the TikToker recently printed off some bizarre coupons for items such as a free ‘McMassage’ or Taco Bell toilet paper and attempted to use them on location. Amazingly, his coupon for a “free sandwich” if he showed up wearing no shirt or shoes did quite a bit more than just troll staff at a local Arby’s. Fake coupon somehow gets TikToker free food After printing it off, he walked to an Arby’s without any shoes or a shirt on and presented the coupon, shocking employees at the restaurant. King Zehn’s first attempt didn’t go so well with an employee dismissing the coupon. “Yeah, we’re not participating in this,” she said. “So you gotta go put on your clothes.” However, his luck would change at a second and third Arby’s where a couple of managers tried honoring the coupon, even going as far as to make sure the TikToker didn’t have any shoes on. Miraculously, it ended up working when scanned earning the TikToker a free sandwich, much to his delight and viewers in the comments. However, some users believe he may have printed off an actual code for a free sandwich and put it on the fake one, though King Zehn has denied these rumors. “A universal barcode for a free sandwich? You serious bro?” the TikToker replied to a fan’s suggestion. In any case, the clip has gone extremely viral, earning over 8.5 million views in just under a week so far. Just don’t go trying this at home.

TikTok prankster Mizzy under fire as he walks into another stranger’s home Mizzy/Twitter, Mizzy/InstagramTikTok and YouTube prankster Mizzy has once again upset fans as he filmed himself walking into a stranger’s home with his friends. However, it didn’t end well as he got chased out of the apartment by a dog. Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, also known by his online moniker ‘Mizzy,’ is an 18-year-old influencer with a penchant for practical jokes. He has become well-known on social media lately – but not in a good way. In early May, he sparked outrage after walking into an unsuspecting family’s home for a “prank” video along with his friends. Police quickly got involved after many upset social media users brought Mizzy to their attention. The prankster was arrested and sentenced with a two-year court order forbidding him from trespassing on private property and filming others without their express written permission. However, this did not seem to stop him, as he’s been arrested again since, and has returned to make similar prank videos like before. Mizzy ignores court order and walks into a stranger’s home – again On June 19, Mizzy posted two different videos of the “prank” on his social media pages where he is seen walking into an apartment where the door has been left open. Explaining that he’d been walking around an apartment building, he’d seen a door that had been left open. “I know, I know I went to prison for this and I have no excuse and I know this guy is gonna say no, but bro… we have to do it bro,” Mizzy said. One of his friends who are standing behind him is hesitant at first but soon changes his mind after Mizzy says: “One more time. For the memes.” Hello World, I had to do it again 💀 — Mizzy (@mizzythemenace) June 19, 2023 I really don’t learn.#mizzy pic.twitter.com/E0EooFCqeS The video then cuts to the group of three sneaking their way into the apartment, which did have the front door open. They are all filming a video each as they quietly laugh at the camera while walking inside. Other people are seen standing on the balcony, making one of the friends say: “Oh s*it, there’s people in there.” This made Mizzy laugh as he quickly made his way further into the apartment and into a bedroom. This makes the whole group laugh as they quickly explore the other rooms. Not being as silent anymore, the other people in the house quickly notice them and start running towards them – including a German Shepherd dog which chased them out and down the corridor. He captioned the post: “Hello World, I had to do it again. I really don’t learn.” Viewers are not happy with Mizzy Even though Mizzy seemed happy to be back doing his “pranks” for online entertainment, viewers were far from entertained. One person wrote: “I see that @Cobratate mentoring has done nothing to help you. I see your apology videos meant nothing. What a role model you are for your child. Enjoy your moment of fame… it’s coming to an end.” Mizzy replied to this by saying: “Ok Annabel.” “You won’t ever learn man….,” a second viewer said. Commenting on the Instagram video, one said: “So pathetic, in ten years you will be seriously embarrassed.” However, not everyone felt this way. One person wrote: “Icl that was funny he ain’t harming no one.”

TikTok prankster sentenced with criminal behavior order after entering strangers’ home YouTube: memeulousThe noted TikTok prankster known as ‘Mizzy’ has been sentenced with a criminal behavior order following an investigation into his over-the-top prank videos. 18-year-old Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, better known as ‘Mizzy,’ has been issued a criminal behavior order following his arrest on May 23. Mizzy’s arrest followed extreme outrage over his viral videos, which he claimed were “pranks.” Several of his most viral ‘practical jokes’ included him making off with an elderly woman’s dog, harassing Jewish people on the street, and even entering a family’s home. On top of these videos, he also had “pranked” unsuspecting people by asking them if they “wanted to die,” and even went up to a random woman and stroked her hair before asking that question. The youth’s social media accounts have been banned due to his behavior and an investigation was launched after his divisive “pranks” went viral. TikTok prankster ‘Mizzy’ sentenced with two-year criminal behavior order On May 24, Judge Charlotte Crangle sentenced the infamous internet prankster with a two-year criminal behavior order, which prevents him from “directly or indirectly” posting social media content “without the documented consent of the people featured in the content.” The order also prevents him from trespassing onto private property and bars him from going to the Westfield Center in Stratford. That’s not all; the TikToker was also ordered to pay a £365 fine. According to prosecutor Varinder Hayre, O’Garro had violated a community protection notice he’d been issued on May 11, 2022, which specifically barred him from trespassing on private property. Mizzy spoke out about his arrest in several interviews on May 23, saying in a conversation with the Independent that he’d actually apologized to the family whose house he walked into and that the elderly woman whos dog he snatched was “in on” the practical joke. “Controversy, even though it’s not good, is the best way to blow up on social media,” he claimed. “I always know outrage is going to happen. I know exactly what I’m doing and the consequences of my actions… I tell people not to reciprocate what I’ve done.” For more entertainment news and coverage, check out our page right here on Dexerto.

TikTok prankster Mizzy hit with new charges after ‘hijacking’ train: “GTA in real life” TikTok: menacec1tyControversial influencer ‘Mizzy’ is facing three new charges after bursting into the cab of a train and fiddling with its controls in a viral video that’s sparking outrage online. 18-year-old Bacari-Bronze O’Garro has become an infamous online figure thanks to his controversial pranks — and it seems like he has no intentions of stopping them anytime soon. O’Garro, better known by his online moniker ‘Mizzy,’ first sparked outrage on the net earlier this month after users discovered a slew of his videos pulling inflammatory ‘pranks’ on unsuspecting strangers. A few examples of these so-called practical jokes include: Running off with an elderly woman’s dog, walking up to strangers and asking them if they “want to die,” and even entering the homes of complete strangers. Mizzy sparks backlash after ‘hijacking’ train in latest viral prank Following the outrage over his videos, Mizzy was arrested and sentenced with a two-year criminal behavior order that prevents him from trespassing on private property, as well as filming others without their express consent in his content. However, it doesn’t look as though this court order has put a stop to his antics. Over the weekend, a clip surfaced showing Mizzy and several other youngsters infiltrating the driver’s cabin of a train and fiddling with the vehicle’s controls — even blowing its horn. Reposts of the clip dubbed the incident, “GTA in real life.” The video has sparked a slew of backlash online against the young influencer, who has now been hit with even more charges as a result of this latest prank. Mizzy hit with three new charges after breaking into train cabin According to reports, Mizzy was held overnight on May 26 after appearing in court on three separate charges that same day. The Daily Mail states that he has been accused of “endangering safety” due to his latest locomotive prank. Judge Rose Edwin claimed that O’Garro “has shown blatant disregard [for] complying with court orders.” Mizzy has pleaded not guilty to the charges and will remain in custody on Edwin’s orders until Tuesday, when he will make another appearance in court. According to the Daily Mail, Mizzy’s mother “refuses” to let her son come back home as a result of his antics — something he mentioned in his interview with Piers Morgan, saying he disregarded his mother’s advice urging him to put a stop to his viral antics. This news follows Mizzy’s arrest on May 26, which was uploaded to social media. It’s currently unclear if the viral video of his train escapade is directly related to his May 26 arrest or not.

In early May, Mizzy sparked outrage after walking into an unsuspecting family’s home for a “prank” video. TikTok prankster goes viral after covering parents’ entire kitchen in peanut butter – Dexerto
TikTok prankster goes viral after covering parents’ entire kitchen in peanut butter TikTok: corbinnmilletA prankster is going viral on TikTok after pulling a jaw-dropping practical joke on his parents, covering their entire kitchen — and even their bathroom — in peanut butter. ‘Do it for the Vine’ is a phrase that has been phased out of common slang for years now, but the sentiment still holds up even after the death of the iconic short-form video app. Having been effectively replaced by TikTok, users continue to pull off wild stunts in the hopes of going viral (although some of the more-dangerous antics are better left to the professionals). The latest feat to take over the app comes from a TikToker named Corbin Millet, whose entire profile seems to be centered on pranking his parents. TikToker goes viral covering parents’ kitchen in peanut butter While it’s not unusual to hear about covering someone’s room in wrapping paper or tin foil, for instance, Millet decided to turn things up to 11 and slathered his folks’ entire kitchen in creamy peanut butter. Everything from the countertops to the cabinets and even the floors was coated with peanut butter (but luckily, he left the backsplash alone). His video recording the practical joke has racked up over 38 million views and over 4 million likes at the time of writing, garnering some shocked responses in the comments section. (For those worried about food waste, not to worry; Corbin says the PB was eaten by his dogs.) However, that wasn’t the end of the ordeal. In a follow-up video, Corbin shared his dad’s reaction to the prank, although it’s unclear if it was scripted or not. “Corbin!” his dad can be heard yelling before running up the stairs to confront his son. “You sick f*ck! We’re gonna get ants, you d*ckhead!” Corbin has also covered his folks’ kitchen in tin foil, on top of other pranks like replacing their tea with hotdog water or switching their candles with glasses of milk. How he hasn’t been kicked out yet is anyone’s guess.

TikTok prankster banned after walking into stranger’s house in controversial video TikTok: SecretMizzyTikToker SecretMizzy, whose videos of him walking into people’s homes, jumping into their cars, and running away with someone’s dog has left the internet divided, has now been banned from the platform. If you’ve been anywhere across social media in the last few days, you’ve more than likely come across videos of youths jumping into people’s cars and walking into strangers’ homes while they’re standing outside. These videos, and controversial trends, were all kicked off by SecretMizzy. The London-based YouTuber and TikToker has been making these types of ‘prank’ videos for a while, but it was only on May 18 did he started to take off. The internet has been up in arms about them, claiming that the youths are just asking to get hurt in some way by disturbing people in tense situations. Though, they’ve already seen their first punishment. SecretMizzy banned from TikTok amid controversial prank videos That’s right, as of May 19, the prankster has had his TikTok account removed from the platform for violating community guidelines – as per The Independent. The original videos have also, naturally, been removed alongside his account, but other profiles with similar names have started popping up in its wake. Additionally, he hadn’t been punished by YouTube, which is where a few of the controversial videos originated. In fact, Mizzy had seen a little bit of growth on his YouTube channel following the videos taking off. As per SocialBlade stats, he’s picked up around 2000 new subscribers and 260,000 video views in the last month. That is a fair leap from what he had been picking up prior to going viral, but it remains to be seen if his ban from TikTok will have a knock-on effect – positively or negatively. Though, there have been a few calls for YouTube to follow TikTok and ban him too.

The prankster is being investigated due to his connection to the videos. The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that they’ve arrested an 18-year-old man in Hackney, London, on suspicion of causing a public nuisance and filming it for social media. The police revealed the arrest comes after they started an investigation into videos posted online. These reportedly featured several incidents, including unsolicited approaches made towards members of the public in the street or on transport, and entering properties without the apparent permission of the owners. The videos, posted by the prankster known as SecretMizzy online, had swept across social media in the last few days. His TikTok account was shut down after one video got over 1.5 million views, while his YouTube account has also been banned following calls for them to follow in TikTok’s footsteps. Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway of the Central East Command Unit for the Met Police in London said: “I do not underestimate the widespread upset, distress, and concern that these videos caused. “Some people have referred to these as ‘prank’ videos, but I hope that this significant development demonstrates just how seriously we have been taking this investigation since this footage began circulating online. “A number of these videos were produced, impacting on many different people and our investigation remains ongoing as we seek to build a strong picture of both the activity featured in the footage and impact on the public.” One officer previously told MailOnline: “We’ve been looking for him for a number of days but each time we visit the property, he’s never in. “He’s very well known around here and we’ve had to visit his home in the past to speak to him several times about his conduct. We can’t go into any details about the exact reason why we want to speak to him. I can’t say if any further action will follow.” TikTok prankster Mizzy speaks out after arrest In an interview with The Independent, Mizzy spoke out about his arrest, saying, “I’m a Black male doing these things and that’s why there’s such an uproar on the internet.” “I don’t fake my pranks, but I always make sure to sort out the situation after if I feel like I went too overboard,” he added. “But none of my pranks have malicious intentions behind them and most of the people in the pranks acknowledge that after I speak to them.” Mizzy also clarified a few of his most outrageous pranks, saying the book he tore up in a library was actually his and that he apologized to the homeowners the day after breaking into their living space. He allegedly even claimed that an elderly woman whose dog he “stole” for a video was in on one of his pranks, and that he returned the pooch to her once he’d gotten his video. “Controversy, even though it’s not good, is the best way to blow up on social media,” he claimed. “I always know outrage is going to happen. I know exactly what I’m doing and the consequences of my actions… I tell people not to reciprocate what I’ve done.”

TikTok photographer in tears after accidentally deleting couple’s wedding photos TIKTOK: justinshootscanonIn a viral TikTok, a photographer was left in tears after a couple’s wedding photos got erased from his camera’s memory card. Content creator and photographer Justin Gummow took to TikTok to share the incident, which he described as “the worst thing that can happen to a photographer.” He explained that he was hired to take snaps at a wedding in California, taking hundreds of photos of the bride, groom, and guests on the big day. However, after transferring the photos to his computer, Justin was left “panicked” as he realized the memory card had become “corrupted,” deleting all the images. “My card didn’t just get copied over, it got cut and copied over – so the card was erased,” Justin explained in a video with over 17.3 million views. The photographer said he spent his own money in an attempt to restore the corrupted card, but unfortunately, when the photos were restored they were heavily pixelated. Photographer breaks the news to newlyweds “Resigned, I sat there and I cried for a minute, and I said, ‘This is the worst. This sucks,’” Justin explained. “I had to call the bride and let her know that all those memories from her day that she paid a professional photographer to take, were gone. That sucked.” The photographer offered the bride and groom a full refund and asked to take additional photos for them free of charge. However, Justin later noticed some of the photos had somehow been saved onto the camera itself, instead of the memory card. He was able to recover those snaps, which brought some comfort to the newlyweds. Though the photographer “hopes this doesn’t happen to anybody else,” he noted how this tip “hopefully might help somebody” in the same predicament. In a follow-up video, the TikToker stated that the couple were very understanding and forgiving when he broke the dreaded news to them. He described them as “the kindest, most gracious couple,” adding that he took full accountability for all the deleted photos.

TikTok owner ByteDance allegedly used fake accounts to grow Flipagram app TikTok, FlipagramTikTok owner ByteDance is under fire for allegedly stealing content from rival social media platforms in a bid to make their app, Flipagram, more popular. ByteDance is the parent company behind viral video giant TikTok, but this isn’t their only content venture. Flipagram, one of the developer’s sister apps, was once intended to be a worthy competitor to TikTok, offering a similar creation experience. Now, allegations claim that ByteDance supposedly created fake social media accounts with content stolen from existing Instagram and Snapchat accounts to try and make Flipagram a success. ByteDance accused of boosting Flipagram with fake accounts According to internal documents and ex-employee statements acquired by Buzzfeed News, ByteDance allegedly made fake accounts to boost Flipagram’s popularity. Without the consent of Instagram and Snapchat users, ByteDance filled these accounts with content from multiple accounts, including profile descriptions and usernames. The allegations come from four former employees of Flipagram, now renamed Vigo Video. Described as “growth hacks” by the employees, ByteDance sorted through over 10,000 videos a day, which were then used to manipulate the “For You” section of the app. In response, a spokesperson for the ByteDance, Jennifer Banks said “ByteDance acquired Flipagram in 2017 and operated it, and subsequently Vigo, for a short time. Flipagram and Vigo ceased operations years ago and aren’t connected to any current ByteDance products.” Internal documents specify that ByteDance began copying content in 2017, with the action itself described as an “objective and key result” by an engineering team within the company. Flipagram was acquired in January 2017 by ByteDance, the same year that they also purchased TikTok predecessor Musical.ly.

TikTok owner issues cease and desist over YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event – Dexerto
TikTok owner issues cease and desist over YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event Instagram: Bryce HallTikTok’s parent company Byte Dance has reportedly issued a cease and desist to the YouTubers vs TikTokers boxing event. On June 12, TikToker Bryce Hall is supposed to face off against the ACE family’s Austin McBroom in a boxing card in Miami pitting influencers from both platforms against each other, also including massive names such as Tayler Holder and FaZe Jarvis. However, there have been several dramatic twists and turns in the lead-up to the hotly anticipated event. Bryce Hall and Austin McBroom began a war of words online, coming to a head at the press conference where they ended up brawling with each other. There is also doubt as to whether two of the fighters on the card, Tayler Holder and AnEsonGib, will fight each other at all due to their differences in weight making it an unfair match. Holder has been told he needs to gain enough weight to catch up to his opponent by the date of the match or else their fight won’t happen. Now, there’s some doubt the event will even happen at all. Business Insider has reported that TikTok’s parent company has issued a cease and desist to the event organizers LiveXLive. Read More: Mike Majlak accused of lying about childhood – The reason behind the email which asks the organizers to cancel the event altogether is because of the use of the TikTok name and brand. According to the email, this falsely implies that the short video company is endorsing the event which it describes as “Violent” and unsafe in the midst of a global health crisis. View this post on Instagram While the official name of the event is “Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms,” TikTok is, unsurprisingly, heavily used in relation to the event; the name and brand are plastered across the website and promotion and commonly referred to by fans. It is uncertain what the outcome will be, but LiveXLive has said it is working with a legal team on the matter. In the meantime, fans of the influencer boxing scene can watch Logan Paul go up against 50-0 boxing champion Floyd Mayweather on June 6.

TikTok outraged over little kid’s reaction to brother’s home run – Dexerto
TikTok outraged over little kid’s reaction to brother’s home run TikTok: akaapoookaAfter his older brother hit a home run, the younger sibling reacted with five hearty screams, causing TikTok to disagree with the whole situation. Sibling rivalry is as old as time — if one sibling gets something, the other has to get something even better. So when a little kid’s older brother hit a home run off of his pitch, the younger sibling overreacted with frustration. After a video of the backyard baseball game went viral on TikTok, viewers commented on the little kid’s freak out, saying “Bro got so mad he turned into a velociraptor.” TikTok calls out father for negative effects of “gentle parenting” A father and his three children were playing a game of baseball in the backyard when the younger brother became tempered by his older brother hitting a home run. To make it worse, the kid had pitched the ball to his brother, making it seem like it was the end of the world when he watched the ball soar over the house. Screaming as if he had just seen a zombie apocalypse outside his window, the little kid was soon given a reassuring hug from his father. However, their sister was not too fond of hearing the high-pitched cries, as she was seen standing in the background holding her ears. After seeing how the little kid reacted to his older brother’s home run, TikTok was outraged by not only his loud screams but also how the father quickly coddled his overreacting son. Comments included sarcastic remarks like, “Aw, the result of gentle parenting. How precious!” As well as, “These parents have raised such a well-tempered and behaved child.” Another viewer made it a point to mention their stern opinion, saying, “You don’t ever hug him when he’s like this.” Though most comments were factored around negative responses, one TikToker did make light of the situation, saying, “Legend says he is still screaming into this day.”

TikTok owner agrees to sell to Microsoft to avoid US ban – Dexerto
TikTok owner agrees to sell to Microsoft to avoid US ban TikTokThe owners of TikTok – the video-sharing social media app that has taken the internet by storm in 2020 – have offered to forgo their US stake in the company to avoid a ban in the United States, as reported by Reuters. Prior to 2019, few in the world had heard of TikTok (formerly Musical.ly) – the Beijing based app that emulates aspects of Vine. However, rapid and exponential growth over the course of 2019 and 2020 saw the app break into the top 10 most downloaded social media apps of the year. Off the back of TikTok’s incredible popularity came a new wave of celebrities, who have amassed millions of followers from the videos they have created. From Charli D’Amelio to Addison Rae, entire brands are being built on the back of TikTok fame. Despite its incredible popularity, concerns have been growing about the app’s use of data, and its origin in the Chinese capital of Beijing. As tensions with China have grown, so have the suspicions of TikTok harvesting user data. Read More: Top 20 most followed TikTok accounts – On July 31, the President told reporters he was set to ban TikTok in the United States. In response to the impending ban, Reuters report that ByteDance, Chinese owners of TikTok, have agreed to sell their stake to US based Microsoft, in the hopes it would avoid a blanket ban in the country. “Under ByteDance’s new proposal, Microsoft will be in charge of protecting all U.S. user data,” Reuters reports. “The plan allows for another U.S. company other than Microsoft to take over TikTok in the United States, the sources added.” There have been rumors that Microsoft were set to purchase TikTok and launch a spin-off, in order to prevent it from being banned entirely. However, the President is said to have opposed that possibility as well, at least according to New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman. Pool report via main print pooler David Cloud/LAT pic.twitter.com/RDV8LjnLLQ — Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) August 1, 2020 It remains unclear whether TikTok would be able to remain in the US if it was owned by a different company, but it’s appears that ByteDance are eager to protect TikTok’s future, even if it means compromising their own involvement in the app. Paired with the news, TikTok’s official US Twitter account released a video on August 1 describing the jobs it brings to the nation, as well as the joy and livelihoods it has provided for millions. Only time will tell where the future of TikTok and its creators will lie, but we’ll be the first to update you as the situation becomes clearer.

TikTok outraged as Gordon Ramsay selects lamb for slaughter in viral video – Dexerto
TikTok outraged as Gordon Ramsay selects lamb for slaughter in viral video TIKTOK: GORDONRAMSAYOFFICIALGordon Ramsay has been slammed for selecting a lamb he plans on eating in a recent TikTok video that’s gone viral. The TV chef shared the video on Thursday, and it has already garnered over 8.3 million views on the social media app. The video is jokingly captioned “The Lamb sauce was still not found in the making of this video.” This is a reference to an infamous episode of ‘Hell’s Kitchen,’ where he screamed to his chefs: “Where is the lamb sauce?” The clip shows the celebrity chef climbing over a fence into a yard housing several lambs, playfully singing: “Yummy yum yum. I’m going to eat you!” He then asks “Which one is going to the oven first?” before pointing at the lamb he wants, and proclaiming “You!” The video ends with Ramsay approaching one of the lambs, saying “oven time” as the lambs are moving away from him. TikTok viewers outraged at Gordon Ramsay’s viral video While the video has amassed over 900,000 likes, many viewers were upset that the chef would consider slaughtering the lambs. “Gordon please leave them alone. Find the lamb sauce, not the lamb,” one person commented. “Alright I think Gordon has finally lost it. Someone do something before it’s too late.” another person added, mirroring the thoughts of many viewers. “I like you and all, but you better not be serious,” someone else commented. One person made a suggestion for the chef: “Gordon I think you need a break from TikTok.” Some viewers wondered if the video was a response to a feud he had with a vegan TikToker who called him out for his love of meat. The chef was previously scolded by TikToker That Vegan Teacher who sang “Eating animals is wrong, Gordon Ramsay. Hurting animals is wrong, Gordon Ramsay. Share this song, Gordon Ramsay.” He responded by sharing a video of himself eating a hamburger. Ramsay is yet to comment on the response his video has caused and the clip is still available to watch on the social media app.

TikTok outraged over $1k cotton candy shrimp dish but is it real? – Dexerto
TikTok outraged over $1k cotton candy shrimp dish but is it real? TikTok: @tamarrahjTikTok has blown up over a $1k cotton candy shrimp that looks less than appetizing, however, it’s not all as it seems. In a video that’s gone viral on TikTok, a woman called Tammarah shared a cotton candy shrimp dish that allegedly cost her $1,000. The dish in question shows crispy, breaded shrimp that’s been paired with blue and pink cotton candy. A suspicious-looking liquid is then poured over the breaded shrimp, which dissolves the cotton candy. The woman who posted the video can be heard saying: “Why the f**k do they charge so much to pour liquid who knows what the f**k over three pieces of shrimp?” “They playin’ you guys,” she says. Is the cotton candy shrimp dish real? The video blew up on the platform, reaching over 1 million views, and leaving many people disgusted by the strange concoction in the process. One viewer was outraged, saying: “$1000 for them to clean out their fridge and serve it to me!?” Another said: “I would have asked for a refund IMMEDIATELY before the pouring even started.” However, some were suspicious of the hefty price tag assigned to the dish: “Is this real or skit? if real, how much was it really? $15. $5 per soggy shrimp sounds about right.” Another viewer claims that she knows the restaurant which sells the cotton-candy shrimp dish: “It’s $18 and described as ‘Crispy Fried Coconut Breaded Shrimp Served over Sour Pineapple Mango Cotton Candy & Soursop.’” However, it turned out to be a fake – and a pretty convincing one at that, for some – as the TikToker admitted it was just a “jokey joke” in a follow-up video. Another crazy food video that’s caught people’s attention on TikTok features a woman who cooks her husband super gross meals.

TikTok outraged after woman kicked off flight for petting her new puppy – Dexerto
TikTok outraged after woman kicked off flight for petting her new puppy TikTok: _sara_price_A woman was kicked off her Southwest flight for petting her new puppy, leaving other passengers outraged. Now, netizens are demanding answers from the airline. On October 21, a TikTok user named Sara Price uploaded a series of videos to the platform showing her experience on a Southwest Airlines flight from Colorado Springs to San Francisco, California. In the video’s caption, Price explained that a stranger she’d met on the flight was preparing to fly back to her home in the Golden State after picking up a German Shepherd Puppy named Sitka that she’d adopted in Colorado Springs. However, Sitka began whining while they were waiting to board. According to Price, “the flight attendant boarding everyone walked up to her and said, ‘If your dog doesn’t be quiet, you may not be able to fly.’” Southwest kicks woman off flight for petting her puppy Things got even more tense when they boarded the flight. Price claims that another attendant walked up to the woman while she was petting her puppy with the carrier in her lap, saying the carrier needed to be placed underneath the seat and “zipped completely.” After doing what she was told, the dog began whining again as the plane started to taxi on the runway. To help calm the pup, its owner reached down and stroked it from the outside of its carrier — causing the staff to gather in a group up at the front of the craft. It was at this point that the plane circled back to the gate, with staff saying that the woman needed to get off the flight due to her dog. Price recorded a video of the woman being escorted off the plane, who was clearly unhappy with the treatment she’d received from the airline. “I’m not gonna have you touch a thing of mine,” she said. “You are rude. You are a mean person, and I will never fly Southwest again.” Both Price and her husband vocalized their support for the woman — something they say also got them booted off the flight. However, Price says several other passengers also walked off in support of them, and the group ended up getting on a comparatively less hostile United flight. Price later shared screenshots of her conversation with a Southwest representative after the incident. In the photos, Southwest claimed that they “expect all animals onboard to be well-behaved when flying with us,” and were “saddened” if their employees didn’t communicate these guidelines in a “kind and pleasant manner.” Southwest also gave a statement about the issue to PEOPLE. “We’re aware of the videos and our initial reports indicate that the customer would not comply with keeping her dog’s kennel closed, which is our policy,” a spokesperson told the outlet. “Our employees are trained to ensure customers are following protocol, and in this situation and after the customer repeatedly refused to comply with our crew’s instructions, the decision was made to deplane the disruptive passenger.” Thus far, her original video of the ordeal has racked up over 2 million views, boasting hundreds of angry comments demanding answers from the airline and claiming they’re reconsidering flying with the company.

TikTok outraged after mom takes the color out of kids’ Christmas decorations – Dexerto
TikTok outraged after mom takes the color out of kids’ Christmas decorations TikTok: nattiejopoA mom outraged the internet after removing the color from her kids’ Christmas tree to better match the aesthetic of her home in an ill-received DIY project. It’s the holiday season, and folks all over the world are transforming their homes to reflect the upcoming celebrations. From filling up Christmas trees with shiny ornaments to breaking out the Santa figurines and more, homes are looking more festive than ever, decked out in red, green, and white… but not for one mom on TikTok. TikTok user and new mom ‘Nattie’ has a specific aesthetic in mind for her house, and she’s not keen on letting the holiday season get in the way of her preferred ‘look.’ Mom’s Christmas toy makeover outrages the internet In a viral video uploaded on December 1, Nattie showed off the DIY project she undertook to make her toddler’s kid-sized Christmas tree match the “sad beige” style of her house. “I’m leaning into my inner Pinterest mom with the vision to neutralize the tree,” she explained. “And I can already hear you thinking that I’m gonna ruin my toddler’s Christmas by painting over these colors. But let’s be real: My toddler’s favorite toys are brown cardboard boxes and clear plastic water bottles.” In the video, Nattie painted over the bright green of the tree and its rainbow-colored ornaments with dark green, brown, gold, bronze, and silver spray paint. What was once a brightly-colored, festive decoration became what many viewers dubbed a drab, boring object taking up space in the house — not to mention the possible toxicity of the paint for a small child who might put things in their mouth. “Color is so important for child development, what you want shouldn’t matter,” one user said. “Stop being sad beige moms.” “Yes! Gorgeous! Stunt your child’s development by turning anything colorful into a sad beige!” another said. “Nothing says Christmas like, ‘Let’s poison the baby with paint, ’cause I’m a sad beige mom!’” yet another expressed. In response to the overwhelming criticism against her, Nattie created a follow-up video where she DIY’d some additional child-safe ornaments painted with pinks and purples. Although it doesn’t look like Nattie is leaving her “sad beige” aesthetic behind despite the criticism, she isn’t the only TikToker to get heat for her makeovers. In November, a woman came under fire for renovating her boyfriend’s apartment — completely removing his personal style with a spartan, ‘clean’ aesthetic.

TikTok outraged after woman hits husband over gender reveal snafu – Dexerto
TikTok outraged after woman hits husband over gender reveal snafu TikTok: emmabmillerrA woman left the internet divided after whacking her husband with a confetti cannon when their gender reveal announcement didn’t go as planned. Gender reveals are fun ways for couples to celebrate the upcoming birth of their child — but sometimes, they can end up causing drama instead. Generally, gender reveal parties lead up to a big moment where a couple will do some sort of activity that will unveil the gender of their baby; be it cutting a cake, popping a balloon, or setting off smoke bombs that are colored either blue or pink. One couple decided to set off some confetti cannons in celebration of their bundle of joy… but the moment wasn’t exactly joyous. Woman pops off on husband after gender reveal goes wrong TikTok user Emma Miller is sending viewers into a frenzy after uploading a video of her gender reveal party, where the crowd counted down the seconds until she and her husband set off two confetti cannons that were color-coded to the gender of their baby. However, as they were counting down, someone in the crowd yelled, “No, wait” — but it looks like Emma’s hubby didn’t hear them, as he went ahead and popped off his confetti cannon after counting down to one. Emma shot off her cannon just a second later, and it was revealed that the couple was having a boy… but unfortunately, the good vibes didn’t last very long. “Why did you go?” Emma angrily asked her man before whacking him with her now-empty confetti cannon. To explain her reaction, Emma captioned the video: “When your husband doesn’t do the gender reveal right and your pregnancy hormones start to rage in front of everyone.” Commenters were left gobsmacked over her reaction to a seemingly small snafu, with many claiming that she overreacted and ruined what was supposed to be a special moment. “Those are not ‘pregnancy hormones,’ that’s just her being mean for no reason,” one commenter wrote. “Currently pregnant with my second and I get that our hormones are in constant.” “Everyone warned me about crying, but nobody warned me about anger,” Emma replied. “I’ve hardly cried, mine comes out as mad lol.” “Good luck, guy,” another said. “The Journey is juuuuussstt beginning.” “Why were you mean to him?” another asked. “He was so happy.” This isn’t the first time a gender reveal has gone viral for going south; back in May, a woman took TikTok by storm after trashing her gender reveal party upon learning she would be having yet another girl.

TikTok nurse faces backlash for posting video after patient dies TikTok: olivia_tyler33A TikToker has come under fire after posting a viral video of themselves working at a hospital as a nurse, with the caption “lost a patient today,” facing criticism over the appropriateness of filming such a video after the death of a patient. On her TikTok account ‘olivia_tylerr33,’ the nurse posted on June 17, titled ‘it never gets easier.’ The video didn’t take long to go viral, and many comments were sympathetic, expressing the challenges of being a healthcare professional. However, the comments section was also mixed, with many criticizing the decision to setup a TikTok video in such a situation. Although the video is now a few weeks old, it has spread once again after being shared on Twitter and Reddit, reaching a new audience. One viral tweet wrote, “aw man can’t believe my patient died let me go make a tiktok rq”. from @ateenyalien. “”aw man can’t believe my patient died let me go make a tiktok rq”” — nikki (@ateenyalien) July 2, 2022 As well as branding the content attention-seeking, some also argued it was disrespectful to the deceased’s family members. However, others have also questioned whether a patient actually died, or if the video was simply based on a false pretense. “Great way to exploit the dead for one’s own popularity,” one Twitter user responded. “I miss the days when people didn’t share absolutely everything online.” Olivia has not responded to the critical comments directly, although many of her subsequent TikTok videos are full of comments referencing the now-controversial post. Other TikTok accounts have also ‘dueted’ the post to call it out. “A patient dies and their first thought is to shoot, edit, and post a TikTok for likes and attention,” said TikToker marc0p0l0o3. There have been previous controversies with professionals posting about their work on TikTok too, also in the healthcare sector. In 2021, a nurse was suspended after posting videos appearing to claim to mistreat patients, which they later said were just skits. Also in June, a teacher was fired for posting so-called “thirst traps” on his TikTok account.

At least she ended up getting paid before she left, but at the end of the day, it seems like the whole sight has left the TikToker scarred for life.

TikTok musician Meredith Bull goes viral for making song from a yowling cat TikTok/meredith_bullPopular TikTokker Meredith Bull has pulled off the impressive feat of transforming audio of a cat yowling into a full song and fans are absolutely loving it. It’s not completely out of the norm to see musicians take obscure and strange audio clips and morph them into art, but to do so with a cat takes some talent and then some. The song “I don’t wanna be touched” has become a viral hit on TikTok and Twitter, where it’s amassed over five million viewers between the two platforms. Footage of the TikTok begins with Meredith standing in front of a cat while it yowls in the background. After this, the video cuts to Bull’s computer where she is importing the audio of the cat yowling before eventually transitioning to the song. Read More: League of Legends anime Arcane revealed – Amusingly, she even added in lyrics of the cat’s yowls, deciphering them as “luga luga lugaleh” and “wowwwwwooww” for good measure. With the addition of some drums and bass, the cat’s noises actually ended up being rather catchy, especially when they’re reversed. Thank you for all the love!! Dropping the full version soon will post when it’s ready! — Meredith Bull (@meredithbull) May 3, 2021 Following this opening, Meredith Bull added in her own vocals and suddenly the duet with the cat became a hit. TikTok name change lets trolls impersonate influencers and it’s chaos – Dexerto
TikTok name change lets trolls impersonate influencers and it’s chaos TikTokTikTok trolls are taking advantage of a new feature that allows them to impersonate some of the most famous faces on the app and beyond, and not everyone is pleased about it. Over the last couple of years, as impersonators have been the source of scams and other different hijinks, many platforms have moved to add verification – allowing them to prove that they are the real deal, regardless of what other people claim. Despite that, there are still plenty of ways for trolls to be deceptive and take advantage of users who aren’t fully on the ball. That includes a new change to TikTok where a simple name change can trick everybody. TikTok username change causes chaos as trolls run wild That’s right, a new feature has been added to TikTok that allows users to change their username to whatever they want, and it’s already caused a bit of chaos. As TikToker Noah Glenn Carter highlighted, many verified users have already started changing their name to that of another verified user, making it appear as if they are the real deal in the comments section of a video. Additionally, others are adding words like ‘following’ to the end of their name, making it seem as if you are following them. This, of course, can cause confusion, and you may end up clicking a profile that you have no idea about. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load Some fans have called for change already, asking TikTok to perhaps add a cooldown period on how often you can change said username. Though, others aren’t too bothered about it, seeing as ti makes the ‘cult’ trends a bit easier to organize. Impersonating a verified account, though, does go against the platform’s terms of service, so if you try your hand at it, you may get banned. Otherwise, stay vigilant and don’t fall for any hoaxs.

TikTok money guru mocked for “fraudulent” credit card advice Instagram: Ryan RoughtGreenthumbgotbands, real name Ryan Rought, posted a TikTok that went viral as he was sharing what many have called ‘fraudulent’ methods to buy expensive items without spending money. The TikToker posted a video where he asked his followers if they want to buy a watch worth thousands of dollars – using business credits. He went on to claim that ‘every business owner’ knows how this works. Ryan further claimed that when someone makes a card in their personal name, they are liable for all the payments made. On the other hand, he shared that business credits are when you are not personally held responsible for making the payments. He went on to explain how he got the watch in his hands, which appears embellished with diamonds. ‘Greenthumbgotbands’ explained that he opened a business that he “did not give a sh*t about” and then opened business credit cards in that account. Greenthumbgotbands called out for credit card “fraud” advice The TikToker continued explaining how he bought the watch and he went on to sell it to the jeweler for “$80,000 in cash”. He further claimed he got the cash and filed bankruptcy on the company, therefore claiming he would never have to pay the borrowed money back. “I’m not personally liable for the American Express card. It’s all liable underneath my business”. He shared it is all difficult to express in just one video and asked people to follow him before ending the TikTok. This “advice” was not received well by many, as some users asked why is he always around a pool, while others asked if this is a joke. A user even commented under the TikTok writing, “this is complete bs”, with Greenthumbgotbands responding, “how so”. A user joked, “imagine doing credit card scams but then wearing the 100k watch in a swimming pool”. While yet another user shared that they also want to film videos of themselves in a pool giving horrible financial advice. The clip then went viral on Twitter, after the account ‘TikTokInvestors’ captioned it, “Ah yes, fraud for beginners.” Of course, the method of using credit cards described is not advised. However, he did post a follow-up TikTok, claiming that he was, in fact, joking the whole time. For more of the best viral stories, check out our full coverage here.

TikTok moms go viral for genius McDonald’s dessert hack – Dexerto
TikTok moms go viral for genius McDonald’s dessert hack TikTok: janelleandkateTwo TikTok moms have gone viral for sharing their rendition of a tasty McDonald’s dessert hack. Two TikTok moms, Janelle and Kate, who have 3.7 million followers, have recently shared their delicious version of a McDonald’s dessert hack. Though the dessert hack has been around for a couple of years, with people adding their toppings of choice to an overload of ice cream, Janelle and Kate have gone viral for adding a rather salty treat to their dish. Since posting their affordable and tasty dessert, TikTokers are commenting in awe of the smorgasbord. Janelle and Kate create the ultimate “sweet and salty” mixture The trending McDonald’s dessert hack dates as far back as 2021. Janelle and Kate, however, have recently gone viral for their unique rendition of the ice cream bonanza. First, the moms suggest a rectangular Tupperware container instead of the usual McDonald’s container. Then, buy six vanilla ice cream cones along with hot fudge, caramel sauce, and McFlurry toppings — each costing under $1. You’ll want to smash the ice cream cones and then swirl in your toppings of choice. Janelle and Kate chose warm chocolate chip cookies, rainbow sprinkles, hot fudge, and…french fries? Yup, that’s right! One of the TikTok moms can be heard defending their choice to add fries to the sweet combination, saying, “It’s the sweet and salty mixture.” Viewers have since taken to their comments section with mixed reviews. Some were astonished by the dessert, saying, “Wow, that’s amazing,” and “These are the kind of ladies I need to hang with.” But some TikToker’s weren’t in favor of the ‘salty’ part, saying, “Oh my goodness! This is lush!! minus the french fries though.” Another added, “You lost me at the French fries.” Some have even tried creating their own dessert combination at McDonald’s. Most have only had it with the ice cream and cone, however, some have brought their own peanut butter and Oreo pieces to top off the hefty treat. Though most viewers were against the salty part of their dish, Janelle and Kate weren’t the only ones who added French fries to their sweet treat, as other TikTokers have posted indulging in the same thing. This isn’t the first McDonald’s dessert trend of the summer, as the fast food’s grimace shake sent supporters in viral mode for weeks for doing a multitude of trends like painting their bodies in purple before entering a McDonald’s as well as the “Grime Scene.”

TikTok mom under fire for taking son to Hooters for his birthday TikTok/darbyallison19A mother is facing the wrath of the TikTok comment section for a viral clip showing off her son celebrating his birthday at Hooters. It’s normal to see families celebrate birthdays at restaurants, but Hooters isn’t exactly what many consider to be the most family-friendly place in the world for a five-year-old and the internet is letting one mom know it. In a viral TikTok clip, user ‘darbyallison19’ showed off her son having the time of his life at Hooters with scantly-clad waitresses gathering around to celebrate with him. After dressing the kid up like a bird with a paper beak and trays for wings, the waitresses began chanting for the birthday boy as the whole restaurant cheered them on in delight. TikTok slams mom for humiliating son with Hooters birthday In the replies to the TikTok, many users piled on the mother for taking her son to the controversial restaurant and “forcing sexualized stuff.” “Who brings a child to Hooters?” one concerned viewer asked. “Why they gotta humiliate the poor kid like that?” another pondered. (click here if TikTok fails to load) Some even took issue with the makeshift bird outfit, joking that it was the boy’s “villain origin story” and he would grow up to become Batman’s bird nemesis The Penguin. However, some viewers felt the opposite, praising the mom for giving her son what they felt was a good birthday. “Bros living every kid’s dream,” one supporter applauded. The mother also revealed that both of his parents were on board with the Hooters trip, commenting it was “all good” between them. Since being uploaded, the clip has gone mega-viral, receiving a nice 6.9M views and over 5,000 comments debating the birthday bash, proving that this discussion is far from settled. How the family will be able to top this for the boy’s sixth birthday, however, remains a mystery.

I can’t believe the hate that I woke up to this morning,” she explained. “My kids two, two years old is literally the age that the World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding until. I’ve been called disgusting, I’ve been told I’m wrong, and I have issues. “I’ve even had someone message me and tell me that I should be locked up.” “I’m sorry but if you have issues with that video and you are sexualizing the relationship between a mother and a two-year-old child, I’m not the one with the problem here,” she added. Not everyone reacted to her video in a negative way, though, as hundreds of people flooded the comments with support. “You seem to be doing great. People are undereducated,” one person said. Another user replied: “What a huge accomplishment!”
