Sykkuno responds to fan calls for boxing fight with Disguised Toast YouTube: Sykkuno/Twitch: Disguised ToastStreaming star Sykkuno says it’d be “cool” to get involved with a boxing event of his own, however, he’s got some reservations about who he’d fight after fans suggested he take on his pal Disguised Toast. Influencers and internet stars stepping into the boxing ring is nothing particularly new, it’s been an internet phenomenon for a few years after all. However, the whole thing has gone up a few notches in recent months. Events like YouTubers vs TikTokers, Showstar’s UK vs USA, and iDubbbz’s Creator Clash have reinvigorated interest in influencer boxing, and plenty of creators have registered their interest in getting involved with an event down the line. That, pretty surprisingly, includes Sykkuno. The streaming star, who recently ditched Twitch for YouTube, believes it would be “cool” to step into the ring, but he isn’t sure about the suggestion from his fans to fight his good friend Disguised Toast. Like many, Sykkuno watched iDubbbz’s Creator Clash on May 14, and gave his take on things when he booted up his stream a day later. The streamer praised the fighters for getting involved, and one fan quickly suggested that he fight Disguised Toast on an event headlined by OfflineTV. “Sykk vs Toast? Here is the problem guys, here’s what I’m thinking. I think it’d be cool, I feel like it’d be spicier to go against your friends but at the same time, do you really want to be in a situation where you either beat up your friend or you get beaten up?” the streamer replied. “If I did it, hopefully, it would be someone I don’t know that well,” he added, noting that it would be “weird” wanting to fight your friend because someone is getting hurt at the end of the day. Timestamp of 9:00 Other viewers joked that Sykkuno should fight his other friends, including Valkyrae, but he noted that himself and Toast would at least be an even contest. Whether or not it will actually happen remains to be seen, but an OfflineTV-centred boxing event would certainly be a huge spectacle.

Sykkuno is moving in with Valkyrae but one big thing is holding everything up – Dexerto
Sykkuno is moving in with Valkyrae but one big thing is holding everything up Twitch: Sykkuno / YouTube: ValkyraeRachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter told fans that Sykkuno is temporarily moving in with her and Miyoung ‘Kkatamina’ Kim. However, Sykkuno revealed that one big thing is holding it up. Rae spent a bit of time living in the OfflineTV house during December 2021. However, she’s planning on moving back into her place in January 2022 and revealed that Kkatamina is going to join her. But that’s not all. She also revealed that Sykkuno is going to join them for a couple of months. “I gave Sykkuno a room,” she said. It’s only going to be for a couple of months during a ‘transitional’ period, but they’re still “very excited.” However, Sykkuno announced that the big move had been held up, and he explained why. “I was going to move in with Rae for a bit until we got the Clean Bois house. But the problem is tons of people are getting sick. “I’m just like, is this the best time to go to LA? Maybe not. Maybe I should wait another week or so for it to get a little bit less bad. I’m not going to go live life on the edge just because I’ve gotten some shots and stuff.” Sykkuno admitted that the move is still going to happen eventually. He’s just “putting it on hold” until the situation improves. “I know Rae is not sick. She’s very safe. But I’m not sure if I really want to go for it.” It might not be the news their fans were hoping to hear. Many were looking forward to seeing them pop in and out of each other’s streams all the time. Read More: Valkyrae has plans to release her own songs – However, it’s still going to happen at some point down the road, so the hype is still there. As for when, well, that all depends on when Sykkuno feels comfortable about it.

Sykkuno, Quackity, and Sapnap snubbed by Twitter verified and fans can’t believe it – Dexerto
Sykkuno, Quackity, and Sapnap snubbed by Twitter verified and fans can’t believe it YouTube: Sykkuno / TwitterFans of streamers Sykkuno, Quackity, and Sapnap have been rallying to get their favorite creators verified on Twitter, baffled by the fact that these hugely popular creators missed out on the latest round of verification. The past year has been a very lucrative one for the streaming community. With games like Among Us bringing some huge content creators together for unexpected collaborations, and giving a new platform to people like Corpse Husband who have experienced an unprecedented boost in popularity recently. While many of these creators are verified on various different platforms including Twitter, others are finding that getting that blue tick is harder. Despite a big round of new verified users on February 27, some notable names missed out. Sykkuno, Quackity, and Sapnap are all creators who have gained a large boost of followers over the past year, but none of them were blessed by the verified wave on Twitter, and fans want that to change. On February 28 Quackity tweeted, “why won’t Twitter verify me, is it because I’m sexy?” which was promptly flooded with replies from verified creators like KarlJacobs, GeorgeNotFound, and BadBoyHalo who either consoled him or flexed on him. Sapnap even took matters into his own hands by starting his own campaign hashtag, saying “I know we start a hashtag then they will have to verify me,” and then, “after lots of thought #VerifySapnap is the move.” https://twitter.com/sapnapalt/status/1365827661164126210 Fans, and fellow streamers like DisguisedToast, decided to rally behind Sykkuno, making the hashtag #VerifySykkuno trend, but the streamer himself doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the blue tick. When he was told while live on stream that he was trending in the United States, he said, “that’s okay, I don’t need…I mean, guys, I barely use Twitter. I tweet like once a month and occasionally reply.” You heard them! #VerifySykkuno 😤✨ The way they also went from verify Sykkuno to happy birthday Sykkuno 😂 pic.twitter.com/tBJl7DWsHz — Sykkuno Updates 🌱 (@Sykkuno_Updates) February 28, 2021 While Sykkuno was humble about the Twitter campaign, the creators he was streaming with decided to boost the trend by simultaneously shouting, “verify Sykkuno!” Sykkuno was previously snubbed by Twitter Verified back in December after the company went on another massive verification spree, but initially left out creators like Sykkuno and Dream. While Dream is now verified thanks to the newest verification sweep, Sykkuno along with Sapnap and Quackity are not, and fans are keen to see the creators with blue checks sometime soon.

Sykkuno has Valkyrae in hysterics over the “biggest drama” he’s been involved in – Dexerto
Sykkuno has Valkyrae in hysterics over the “biggest drama” he’s been involved in Twitch: Sykkuno / YouTube: ValkyraeSykkuno had Valkyrae in stitches after revealing the “biggest drama” he’s been involved in — the time he got roasted for “looking poor” because of what he wore to the Streamer Awards. Sykkuno, Valkyrae, and Blaustoise were playing Fortnite when Blau joked about Rae getting canceled for not wanting to see BTS in concert. “Not again,” said Rae, referring to the RFLCT skincare line drama that happened in 2021. “Wait, when did you get canceled the first time?” replied Sykkuno, who seemed genuinely clueless about it. Rae told him he was a “really good friend” for forgetting and she “appreciated” it, which left him even more baffled. Then, he made her laugh by revealing the “biggest drama” he’d been involved in. “I mean, I’ve been canceled before too, for looking too poor,” he said. “That was probably the biggest drama I’ve been a part of.” Of course, the incident he’s referring to wasn’t really drama at all. He just got roasted over the outfit he wore to the Streamer Awards. However, for someone as innocent as him, perhaps he really was telling the truth. Read More: When is Sykkuno merch coming out? – “It’s not nice looking poor,” he added, making Rae laugh even more. “I didn’t think I looked that poor if I’m being honest. I thought I looked regular. I’m not fancy, but I mean, I am pretty regular, aren’t I? At least about average.” According to Rae, Sykkuno does have a tendency to act awkward on purpose, which is what he seemed to do here. However, she also claimed he helps her feel better, so perhaps he wanted to make her laugh to change the topic. Either way, it was another hilarious moment between them. Sadly, there’ll be fewer moments like that happening on stream in the next month while Rae takes a break from streaming to pursue other endeavors.

Sykkuno is moving back to Las Vegas, claims LA move was “long business trip” – Dexerto
Sykkuno is moving back to Las Vegas, claims LA move was “long business trip” Twitch: SykkunoAfter spending a couple of months in Los Angeles, Sykkuno revealed he’s moving back to Las Vegas, claiming the move was “just a long business trip” rather than anything permanent. In January, Valkyrae revealed Sykkuno was moving in with her and her roommates in their Los Angeles home. However, she made it clear that it was only a temporary thing and confirmed the news a month later. At the time, most fans assumed she meant him staying at their house was temporary rather than the whole move itself. Turns out, though, the latter was true — Sykkuno’s time in LA is up, and he’s heading back home. “I’m actually going to probably be returning to Las Vegas soon,” he said during a recent stream. “I’m sure you guys have noticed, but I’m just here on vacation.” That’s the reason why he’s been wearing the same four hoodies most of the time, he joked. “Maybe we’re turning back. What’s wrong with that, guys? Listen. I know people meme about it, but I am just on vacation. It’s not some move. It was more of like a trip, mostly because I did have a lot of things I had to go for.” For example, he explained the merch shoot was a big reason behind the trip. “A lot of merch stuff, we had to handle in LA. It really was more of just like a long business trip. It wasn’t a move as much as people want to say that.” It doesn’t mean he’ll never be back, though. In fact, Sykkuno insisted he’ll be back often. “I’m obviously here a lot,” he said. Plus, if he picks up any additional voice acting roles, that’ll be another incentive to head over. He also urged fans to stop making a big deal about it. “It was amazing while it lasted. It’s not like some big thing is over or something. I feel like people are a lot more dramatic about it. It’s really not a big thing.”

Sykkuno hits back at fans worrying he’s no longer friends with Valkyrae – Dexerto
Sykkuno hits back at fans worrying he’s no longer friends with Valkyrae Twitch: sykkuno / YouTube: valkyraeTwitch star Sykkuno had a perfect response for fans who were worried that he and fellow influencer Valkyrae had gotten into an argument after the two hadn’t streamed together for a few days. Sykkuno and Valkyrae are two massively popular internet broadcasters, both of whom are often seen gaming together — be it Friday the 13th, Among Us, GTA Online, or other multiplayer titles they play alongside their friend group. Both streamers are in high demand in their own right, with Sykkuno boasting over 3 million Twitch followers and Valkyrae garnering nearly 4 million YouTube subscribers. While they each have their own fanbases, the fact that they create content together so often has sparked a conflation between the two… and fans grew worried when they hadn’t streamed as a duo after a few days of no interaction between the besties. Sykkuno calms down fans worried he and Valkyrae aren’t friends Sykkuno responded to these concerns during a September 28 Twitch stream once his chat brought up the possibility that they’d allegedly had some sort of argument — a theory that he shut down fairly swiftly. “Just ’cause we haven’t played in like, two days doesn’t mean we’re not friends anymore,” he said. “I’m sure we’ll play again soon. But you know, you are right, we haven’t played video games in about two days. It’s not like you have to play every single day, guys. We’ll play again soon, I’m sure.” The possibility that these streamers have had a falling out is pure speculation that Sykkuno dismissed with his sarcastic response. The two appear to be on close terms, as he modeled for Valkyrae’s first-ever merchandise line quite recently and even appeared in her behind-the-scenes vlog about the photoshoot. Whatever the case may be, it seems like these stars are still on good terms, despite what some fans have decided based on their streaming activities.

Sykkuno hilariously flip flops after calling game “bugged” during sponsored stream – Dexerto
Sykkuno hilariously flip flops after calling game “bugged” during sponsored stream Twitch: Sykkuno, UbisoftUbisoft’s Riders Republic is set to make cycling cool again, but during a sponsored stream Twitch star Sykkuno had to hilariously backtrack after calling it “bugged.” Allowing players to partake in mountain biking, snowboarding, wing suit, and ski races, Ubisoft’s self-professed “massively multiplayer sports game,” Riders Republic, is hoping to shake up the genre. The game has already got some airtime from popular Twitch streamers and across social media – including from Sykkuno, who played the game as a part of a sponsored broadcast. However, he had a monetary slip and forgot that he was actually advertising the game, leading to a hilarious highlight. Sykkuno backtracks on Riders Republic stream During his October 25 sponsored stream, Twitch’s sweetheart pushed the game to its limits. While playing through one of the mountain biking levels, he happened to pull off a pretty sweet corkscrew – well, kind of. While the trick itself seemed pretty neat, he actually hit the level’s boundary, and seemingly expected to flip over and crash. However, the game automatically proped him up again and gave him a “perfect landing.” “This is bad, this is… actually, perfect landing!” Sykkuno exclaimed, before adding, “no chance that was perfect, this game’s bugged.” Promptly remembering that he was hosting a sponsored stream, Syknno hilariously flip-flopped on his ‘bugged’ claim. “I mean, uh, I’m sponsored,” he panicked, “the game knows exactly what I’m doing because that was definitely a clean landing.” Though, he gave it hilariously awkward “thanks for the sponsor” a few moments later. As the chat erupted with “LMAOs” and “KEKWs,” it’s pretty clear that his viewers found this silly back and forth pretty funny. Though, who knows if his sponsor felt the same way. While Sykkuno does seem to enjoy his virtual trip through America’s national parks, this cheeky little slip-up certainly was the highlight of his stream.

Sykkuno had no idea who Froste is despite their beef 6 months ago – Dexerto
Sykkuno had no idea who Froste is despite their beef 6 months ago YouTube: Sykkuno/ Instagram: FrosteYouTube streamer Sykkuno was stunned after finding out that he and his fanbase had a Twitter feud with former The Mob member Froste six months ago before his drama with 100 Thieves. Sykkuno has a supportive fanbase behind him who have followed him ever since he started streaming regularly in April 2019 and during his big move from Twitch to YouTube. So, it’s no surprise that when Twitch streamer Froste made some controversial comments towards Sykkuno and his fans in March 2022, he found himself under intense scrutiny from Syk’s fans on social media with a wave of hateful messages and threats. However, Sykkuno was completely in the dark over the situation six months ago as he claims he’d “never heard” of Froste before his shocking accusations against 100 Thieves on August 29. Sykkuno had “never heard” of Froste before 100 Thieves drama The drama surrounding Froste and 100 Thieves has been a hot topic of conversation among the streaming community. This was no different on August 31 when Sykkuno was speaking to 100T content creator Peter Park who broke down the situation to Syk and his friends. He also informed the YouTuber that he stopped following Froste on Twitter after the heated dispute between him and Sykkuno’s fans. The situation was sparked when Froste supposedly questioned why Syk had been nominated for ‘Streamer of the Year’ at QTCinderella’s The Streamer Awards. Yet, Sykkuno, who isn’t the most active on social media, admitted he’d “never heard of the guy” and that he only found out about Froste following on from his allegations against 100T. Six months after Froste’s Twitter feud with “deranged” Sykkuno fans. It comes after Froste locked horns with 100 Thieves owner Nadeshot, accusing the organization of refusing to give them adequate financial support during their time under the 100T banner. Nadeshot fired back stating that he was disappointed with The Mob’s lack of work ethic and for choosing a $10k a month content house. “Basically, [Froste] came off as extremely entitled,” Park claimed. “He expected to just have success handed to him on a plate.” The feud between Sykkuno’s fans and Froste is over for now. However, the ongoing dispute between Froste and 100 Thieves continues to dominate the streaming community.

Sykkuno has hilarious reason why he doesn’t take sponsored Twitch streams seriously – Dexerto
Sykkuno has hilarious reason why he doesn’t take sponsored Twitch streams seriously Twitch: SykkunoSykkuno has revealed a hilarious reason why he simply doesn’t take sponsored Twitch streams seriously anymore, admitting he “doesn’t care” about getting them perfectly right and just does whatever he wants instead. Twitch has built a culture of sponsored broadcasts over the past few years, with big-time streamers often running ad streams for new games & releases for money. One streamer that often airs gameplay previews is Sykkuno, a variety entertainer who’s happy to play anything. That doesn’t mean he dishes out the best takes on these games, however — the Las Vegas streamer admits he often “doesn’t try at all” in the paid streams. “I probably shouldn’t say that, right?” he laughed. Despite his own warning, Sykkuno revealed: “Honestly, the way I feel about sponsored streams is the more scuffed, the better. If it then sucks, that’s on them.” Sykkuno’s reasoning for “not trying” is that the paid part of any of his advertising streams actually just constitutes him testing the game. How he approaches that, if he rates the title poorly, and if any issues arise isn’t really his problem. Funnily enough, this lackadaisical take on sponsored streams has actually spiked offers. When Sykkuno first started out he had to approach some games for early copies, or trial access. Now, devs want a bite of his 4m followers, and even the blasé attitude he has too. No matter how big the game, he’ll “tell it how it is.” “That’s good [for my fans] though, because it means you guys know I won’t take some weird-champ sponsor. The way I see it is that they’re sponsoring me to try out their game or something like that. And if it sucks, that’s on them. “If there’s problems, or I call out problems, they should have spent more money making a better game,” the streamer added. “If it sucks, that’s on them.” That mentality has led Sykkuno to stop taking his sponsored Twitch streams seriously. At times, he even spends more time fiddling with settings and talking to fans. It’s gotten to the point where he “doesn’t bother” making sure advertisers are happy, and expects them to come back anyway — and they do. One classic example came just weeks ago, when he was playing Riders Republic in an #ad stream. He claimed several times the title’s gameplay was “bad,”, before remembering he was being paid and backtracking. “Maybe I shouldn’t say all this!” Sykkuno said after his admission. “It’s probably bad to say. I might never get sponsored again, but I want to be honest with you guys.”

Sykkuno freaks out after Valkyrae goes live on his streaming setup – Dexerto
Sykkuno freaks out after Valkyrae goes live on his streaming setup YouTube: Sykkuno,ValkyraeSykkuno recently let Valkyrae borrow his streaming setup after her PC quit working, and freaked out after she started streaming while using it. Valkyrae and Sykkuno have become close friends over the last few years, so close that Rae has known him longer than he’s been “famous.” He also lives with Rae and others for part of the year while spending the rest of his time in Las Vegas, and to make it easier — he has a stream setup at both houses. So when Valkyrae’s PC broke down just days before getting her new one, she got permission from Sykkuno to use his setup. As she went live, however, the YouTube Gaming star couldn’t help but freak out. Sykkuno freaks out after Valkyrae uses his stream setup On January 15, Sykkuno was streaming when Valkyrae decided to go live on her own channel using his spare set up in Los Angeles. After he tuned into the beginning of her stream, he realized that she didn’t change any of his OBS scenes to her own. This meant she was sporting his branding while she was getting ready to start streaming. Rae explained that she also deleted his search history so nothing could be leaked: “I squinted, I went to the search history and [cleared it all]. I logged out of everything,” she said. “He doesn’t have a display capture, this guy is so unnecessarily cautious, and for what? I feel like there’s nothing for him to leak anyways. (Topic starts at 1:49:36 in VOD) “There are tons, you could leak your bank account. Idk if I’m freaking out more than I should, it just feels… ugh. I used to sit there guys. That was my chair,” he said. Not having a display capture set in OBS would prevent Sykkuno from accidentally opening something on his computer that would show his bank account or home address. Sykkuno went on to help Valkyrae with a few stream settings before they both went on with their respective broadcasts. Rae won’t be on her friend’s streaming setup for too long, as popular PC-building company PowerGPU revealed on January 10 that her new PC is on the way.

Sykkuno fans roast Pokimane’s outfit with the perfect comparison – Dexerto
Sykkuno fans roast Pokimane’s outfit with the perfect comparison Pokimane / Sykkuno TwitchSykkuno doesn’t even need to be involved in Pokimane’s Twitch streams anymore to make her laugh, as his fans invaded Poki’s chat to deliver the perfect roast. Pokimane has been splitting opinions on Twitch of late, after claiming women streamers have it easier when it comes to growing a channel on the livestreaming platform. After going live on March 16, though, it wasn’t a bold opinion of any kind that was in the spotlight. Instead, it was the outfit she chose to wear. Pokimane gets roasted over her outfit The popular Twitch and YouTube star was just chatting to her viewers when a comment appeared from one of Sykkuno’s fans. The 25-year-old took a moment to read through it on stream, repeating what it said: “You dress like Sykkuno’s background on his stream…” As the chat fell into raptures, Poki responded by quickly Googling what Sykkuno’s background looks like. It wasn’t long before she was laughing along, too! Lo and behold, it was a checkered pattern, exactly like the dress she was wearing. Trying to compose herself from the laughter, Pokimane said: “I can never experiment with outfits on stream! Like, I really f**king can’t.” It didn’t take long for her to recite a few previous comparisons her chat had made, in relation to her choice of dress. “All of a sudden it’s ‘You look like a highlighter! You look like a ketchup bottle! You look like a chessboard!’” she added. “Come on, bro…” Rotating outfits must be tough enough for big streamers, going live every day, and clearly what they choose to wear won’t please everyone. Luckily, in this case, Pokimane saw the funny side of the situation.

Sykkuno fans concerned after he ends Among Us stream in tears – Dexerto
Sykkuno fans concerned after he ends Among Us stream in tears Twitch: SykunnoFans expressed their concern for Twitch streamer Sykkuno last night, as he was seen becoming visibly tearful during a game of Among Us with Valkyrae and DisguisedToast, before abruptly ending the livestream. Update – 11/23/20 Sykkono has addressed concerned fans in a separate stream, saying: “Sometimes you have some issues going on in life and I probably shouldn’t have streamed that day…It wasn’t anything anybody did, it wasn’t even a chat honestly.” He said, “It was just a tough day,” before adding that he’d rather not give any details on his stream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raRJOPyYNSw&feature=youtu.be Original article Sykunno, real name Thomas, is a 28-year-old streamer, with a huge following on both YouTube and Twitch, with 1.73 million subscribers and 1.59 million followers respectively. He has risen to stardom on Twitch especially in 2020, partly in thanks to the growth of Among Us, and has become one of the fastest-growing content creators on the platform. So it isn’t surprising that, when he appeared to become emotional during his November 21 livestream, his fans quickly jumped to his defense. What happened on Sykunno’s stream? It all started during a livestream Sykunno did on Minecraft earlier in the day with, among others, fellow streamers and friends Valkyrae and DisguisedToast. “The vibes were off from the beginning,” one viewer said, with other players “spamming” the chat and “backseating” (telling him how to play the game) so much, that Sykunno had to put the chat in sub-only mode several times. The viewer added that “it was obvious that Sykunno was annoyed/upset with the people in the chat” in his previous stream before he moved on to streaming Among Us. As crewmate in the initial rounds, Sykunno kept getting killed straight away, while as imposter, he was caught out straight away as his fellow imposter “framed” him for the death of another player. Sykunno can then be seen looking visibly dejected in a later round where, after joking that he could’ve secretly vented and killed the player, he is voted out by the rest of the team. When he protested the choice, Valkyrae joked that he shouldn’t “pretend to be sad after pretending to be an imposter”, while DisguisedToast jokingly asked if Sykunno had “learned his lesson” yet. A reupload of the stream was posted to YouTube. Rae, Toast and the rest of them then jokingly yelled at Sykunno for making jokes and “memeing” during the game, to which he responded: “I was just trying to make everyone laugh.” During the next round, he keeps his camera off for most of it and appears to be crying, staying quiet with little commentary. When speaking during the emergency meeting to confirm his location, his voice cracks and he says: “I don’t think I should talk anymore.” When the game ends, he abruptly ends his stream, leaving fans and friends worried. Fans start hugsforsykunno trend Following the worrying stream, concerned fans showed their support for the gamer by posting Tweets with the hashtag #HugsforSykunno. The hashtag soon gained so much traction that it began trending in the US. https://twitter.com/baby_corpse_/status/1330373004199677952 Some fans also turned on Valkyrae and Toast, accusing them of making Sykunno cry. Other users argued that Sykunno wouldn’t want fans to be targeting Valkyrae, with one fan Tweeting: If u cared about Sykkuno, you would know that he would not want anybody to give BS to his friends.” Over on YouTube, one fan pointed out that “Toast and Rae clearly didn’t want to hurt him. You could hear it in their voices that they were just messing around”, while another fan noted: “When you’re having a bad day, even the most natural of interactions (meme or not) can take a huge toll and feel so overwhelming.” thanks for being so kind everyone!! and please don’t be mean to my friends, they are good friends ☺️ — Sykkuno (@Sykkuno) November 22, 2020 Sykkuno later Tweeted thanking fans for their support as well as requesting that they don’t target his friends Rae and Toast for allegedly “making him cry”.

Sykkuno fails miserably trying to make conversation with Brie Larson on stream – Dexerto
Sykkuno fails miserably trying to make conversation with Brie Larson on stream Twitch: Sykkuno / flickr: Jessica CicchettoTwitch star Sykkuno was left reeling on a sponsored stream when he tried to talk to academy award-winning actress Brie Larson and chose the most boring conversation starter imaginable. It’s been a pretty crazy year for Sykkuno. At the start of 2020, he was a relatively small streamer with a decent following of just over 80,000 people. But with the popularization of Among Us, he became one of the biggest content creators around. Given his meteoric rise, you’d forgive Sykkuno for being a bit starstruck when meeting some of the famous people on the planet. Larson, well-known as Captain Marvel, definitely fits this profile. But whether it was the nerves from meeting a legendary actress, or just general social awkwardness, Sykkuno will not look back fondly on his first conversation with Brie Larson. Sykkuno had been afforded the chance to play Knockout City – a multiplayer game that resembles dodgeball – with Larson as part of an EA sponsorship. Read More: Jschlatt mocks Dream’s hoodie merch – And armed with an MVP performance in his previous game and floods of supportive messages from chat, Sykkuno was ready to engage in conversation with Larson. “Ok guys, time to try and create conversation,” he said, psyching himself up for the task ahead. “So how’s the uh, how’s the weather?” he said to the Oscar-winning actress. An awkward silence followed. “You did not just say that,” teammate BrookeAB said, as Sykkuno realized the sheer blandness of the conversation he had started. Larson handled the situation by taking a quick bathroom break, but Sykkuno remained defiant. “Alright guys, we tried alright?” he added, in between bouts of laughter. When the crew returned for their next game, it was clear Sykkuno’s rousing conversation hadn’t done them any favors, as they went on to lose the following battle. Either way, it’s likely to be a conversation he will never forget – whether he wants to or not.

Sykkuno fans call out “uncomfortable” gifts other fans are sending him – Dexerto
Sykkuno fans call out “uncomfortable” gifts other fans are sending him Twitter: Sykunno/UnsplashFans of YouTube and Twitch sensation Sykkuno have been sending the content creator should pretty strange items of clothing, prompting some to lay down the law and ask that it stops. In the backend of 2020, OfflineTV member Sykkuno blew up on Twitch through games like Among Us and Minecraft, while fostering a community that is pretty much free from toxicity – something that is pretty unique on the livestreaming platform. As that community has just continued to grow and grow, the content creator has been inundated with gifts to his PO Box. He’ll regularly show these off on stream too, as he gets everything from art to clothing. Though, some fans have been taking it a little bit further than some others, like sending Sykkuno some strange items of clothing and asking him to wear it on stream. It happened during his January 2nd stream, when Sykkuno again opened some packages as he swapped games, moving from Among Us to Rust. He opened one Amazon package that contained a pretty small maid’s outfit and quickly tried to move on. “That’s weird, man, that’s a weird one,” he said while looking for a letter to go with the costume. When he did, the streamer thanked the fan for the package but still tried to move on quickly to the next thing as his chat laughed at the idea of him having to put it on. Some fans on Twitter quickly joked about how quick he moved on from the outfit, but others saw it as a way to make a point. “Things Sykkuno gets sent to wear have kinda been getting progressively more weird and fetishized,” tweeted botkkuno, a fan account. “So please, before sending ask yourself if what you send would make him uncomfortable. One thing is to joke about it on Twitter but actually sending ain’t it ngl.” Things Sykkuno gets sent to wear have kinda been getting progressively more weird and fetishized, so please before sending ask yourself if what you send would make him uncomfortable.. One thing is to joke about it on twitter but actually sending ain’t it ngl. — Sykkuno Clips 🌱 (@botkkuno) January 3, 2021 Others quickly backed up that point, adding that his viewers should be “more considerate about this,” by considering if will it make him uncomfortable. “Yeah, they treat him like a doll,” added another. “It’s so weird and in general they act as if he’s some innocent kid when he obviously isn’t.” yeah they treat him like a doll. its so weird and in general they act as if hes some innocent kid when he obviously isnt. just cuz hes focused on being kid friendly that doesnt mean that he’s completely oblivious to the meanings of things.— mari (@Corpse_Marii) January 3, 2021 Agree. I hope people can try to be more considerate about this; try to put yourself in his shoes. If he’s gonna be comfortable or not; also please try to respect him if he doesn’t want to wear it on stream. Don’t be so demanding. It’s so painful to watch. — dyn 🌱 (@kakdyn) January 3, 2021 Everyone should be reminded that please don’t force sykkuno, it will be embarrasing on stream, please, don’t force him or saying ” how many subs for maid outfit” it makes him uncomfortable — Christine Angla (@Christine_angla) January 3, 2021 Obviously, the streamer welcomes the gifts, that’s why he has a PO Box after all, but the internet can go a little bit too far. Maybe fans policing themselves will turn things around, and there will be fewer uncomfortable packages for Sykkuno to open moving forward.

Sykkuno explains why Tribe Nine voice acting role was “scary” – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why Tribe Nine voice acting role was “scary” Twitch: Sykkuno / FunimationTwitch star Sykkuno recently revealed his voice over role in Funimation’s Tribe Nine’s anime, alongside fellow streamers Valkyrae, Disguised Toast… but he says the experience was a bit frightening. In February, popular YouTuber and music artist Corpse Husband revealed he’d scored a leading role in Funimation’s new Tribe Nine anime, created by the mind behind the beloved Danganronpa animated series. However, Corpse isn’t the only major internet personality to land a part in the show; in April, it was revealed that fellow streamers Sykkuno, Valkyrae, and Disguised Toast (among others) had also joined the production with small voiceover roles. Clips of the episode have already gone viral online, showing the ‘Amigops’ fighting alongside the villainous Ojiro Otori (Corpse Husband) to form the “Hannya Squad.” Sykkuno says Tribe Nine anime voice acting was “stressful” Although this is a major stride for all influencers involved, Sykkuno claims the voice acting experience was a tad “scary” for him in the booth. Read More: Valkyrae admits she regrets RFLCT drama – “Guys, I’m gonna be honest — we made like, two noises, and we didn’t even do it very well,” he said of his voice acting debut. “But it was kinda cool, I guess.” Excited to announce that sykkuno, toast and I had our first ever voice acting experience in an anime called Tribe Nine all thanks to Corpse:’) syk and I played the twins! The episode is out now 🙂 pic.twitter.com/JvtCzjYLQY — RAE (@Valkyrae) April 11, 2022 “I learned that I’m really bad at yelling, ’cause they were telling me to yell, and I don’t know how to yell,” he continued. “They were like, ‘Just keep doing it, and we’ll get like 20 of them, and surely one of them will be good.’” “It was pretty awkward. It was kinda stressful, honestly, and I didn’t even have to do anything crazy. It was a little crazy. They just kept telling me to yell louder, and I’m not good at yelling.” Valkyrae also spoke out on the experience, saying she had “very very very short lines, but you gotta start somewhere, right?” Overall, it looks like the Amigops got an unexpected opportunity to test out their anime acting chops in a big way… even if the ordeal was a bit more stressful than initially anticipated. Sykkuno’s thoughts come just ahead of the launch of his merch line, which is set to drop on Friday, April 15.

Sykkuno fails against “hardest boss ever” in debut Dark Souls stream – Dexerto
Sykkuno fails against “hardest boss ever” in debut Dark Souls stream Sykkuno/From SoftwareTwitch star Sykkuno hosted his first-ever Dark Souls 3 stream where he couldn’t get past the first “boss” of the game, which wasn’t even an actual enemy. The Dark Souls franchise has become infamous amongst gamers for its high degree of difficulty. So much so, in fact, that it’s spawned an entire sub-genre of games with high difficulty, high-risk combat inspired by the iconic From Software titles, with the upcoming Elden Ring drawing plenty of hype. Sykkuno hosted his first Dark Souls stream, kicking things off with the third title in the series, when he failed against the game’s first enemy: the online service agreement. Sykkuno loses to first Dark Soul 3 “boss” The Twitch star was hosting a New Years’ stream on December 31 when he first gave Dark Souls 3 a shot. Before being allowed to start his playthrough, he got to the online service agreement page which he needed to accept, but had difficulties with his controller and scrolled through the agreement at a snail’s pace. “Oh Jesus, is this controller even on? No way I have to read through this.” After he realized it would take forever to get through the page he joked, “No wonder everyone says this game is really hard. It’s happening already, this is the hardest boss ever.” After finally figuring out how to get through the agreement quickly, he got to the bottom and accidentally hit decline. “Oh no, I hit decline!” he shouted, as his chat went into a frenzy. He was forced to read through the entire agreement once more before finally getting a shot at playing the game. It turns out DS3’s hardest opponent wasn’t a giant scary monster, but complying with Bandai Namco’s online user agreement.

Sykkuno explains why merch billboard was “total waste of money” – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why merch billboard was “total waste of money” Twitter: SykkunoWith his recent merch launch, Twitch star Sykkuno has roasted his own billboard ad stating that it will have little impact on sales. After waiting years for merchandise, Sykkuno fans can finally purchase a number of clothing items that have been inspired by the popular streamer. While Sykkuno has gone into detail about what kind of clothing fans can purchase, a number of content creators have also helped him advertise his merch. In fact, several days after the reveal, a number of photos of the branded apparel were shared on Twitter, showing Sykkuno and other streamers like DisguisedToast, Valkyrae, Pokimane, and Fuslie modeling the new clothing. An ad for the branded gear also appeared on a billboard, but Sykkuno believes that this ad will have very little impact on sales. Sykkuno roasts own merch billboard ad “I’m going to be honest, the billboard is not going to do anything,” said Sykkuno. There’s no way some random dude on the street is like ‘I wasn’t going to buy Sykkuno merch, but now I’m going to because I saw it on a billboard’. It’s pretty much a total waste of money, but it looks really cool.” The billboard in question features Sykkuno, DisguisedToast, Valkyrae, Pokimane, Kkatamina, and Fuslie. The group can be seen wearing a number of items from Sykkuno’s clothing collection and Tweets of the billboard have since gone viral. “It is cool and they did it for free for me, so I’m not going to complain. I don’t think it’s going to increase sales or anything, but I do think it looks cool,” said the streamer. Fans can get Sykkuno’s merch on the official website, but you’ll need to grab it while stocks last. Whether the billboard will have any impact on the overall popularity of Sykkuno’s merch, for now, it’s clear the content creator is just grateful for the support.

Sykkuno explains why he’s “scared” to go to TwitchCon 2022 after YouTube switch – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he’s “scared” to go to TwitchCon 2022 after YouTube switch YouTube: Sykkuno/TwitchConDuring a recent stream, Sykkuno revealed that he is “worried” about going to TwitchCon this year because he’s no longer partnered on the platform. Since rising in popularity with the Among Us boom beside Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, and Corpse Husband, Sykkuno has amassed over six million followers and subscribers across his platforms. The former Twitch streamer announced his shock move to YouTube Gaming on May 2, 2022, meaning the Amazon-owned platform removed his partner status. While playing Valorant, Sykkuno revealed that he is “worried” about going to TwitchCon this year because he’s no longer a partner and will have to wait in long lines. Sykkuno worried about TwitchCon During a May 9 stream, Sykkuno was talking to his community about waiting in line at AnimeCon when he changed the subject to TwitchCon. He also explained that he still is considering going to the event despite not streaming on the platform. “I’m worried about TwitchCon guys because if you’re a partner you get to go into a special line,” He revealed. “You don’t have to wait. I don’t have that anymore, obviously. If I wanna go, I’m worried that I’ll have to wait a long time. “If I have to spend three hours waiting, I’m probably not gonna go because that’s just boring. It might be worth it if you really wanna go but you’ll have to pretty much spend your whole day waiting.” (Topic starts at 5:36:47 in the video) Sykkuno isn’t the only one hesitant about attending TwitchCon this year. Mizkif explained back in February that he is “scared” to go to the event because he doesn’t want to be bombarded with fans. “I don’t know, man. It just seems like Twitchcon North America is just not the move. Last time, I was with [xQc] and he was getting bombarded with people left and right. All the time he was getting bombarded with people,” he explained. “It was annoying. It wasn’t a fun time, it was just f**kin annoying.” If you’re looking to attend TwitchCon 2022, check out the dates and how to buy tickets here.

Sykkuno explains why he’s such good friends with “toxic” xQc – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he’s such good friends with “toxic” xQc Twitch: Sykkuno/xQcTwitch star Sykkuno explained why he and Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel get on so well as he defended the Canadian streamer from criticisms of being ‘toxic’ to others. As some of Twitch’s biggest streamers have gotten involved with GTA RP, there have been a few relationships struck up that some viewers might not have expected to see otherwise. Sykkuno and xQc have bonded, in-game, over their love of bank heists, with Sykkuno explaining that it was the former Overwatch professional who made him want to explore the criminal side of GTA RP even more than before. With xQc banned, and Sykkuno taking a break to play Minecraft, their interactions have been limited. However, after xQc sent Sykkuno a video message for his birthday, the popular creator couldn’t help but hype up his new pal. Like other streamers, xQc sent Sykkuno a quick message to wish him well on his birthday, but he threw a little twist in as well – jokingly asking Sykkuno to get him unbanned from NoPixel’s main server. Sykkuno had to laugh, but admitted the well wishes were genuine. “He’s actually super cool. I feel like we get along a lot,” Sykkuno said after watching xQc’s birthday wishes. “I think the reason I get along with him so well is because a lot of people think ‘oh Sykkuno is so wholesome, X is toxic,’ right? I don’t think that’s how it is guys. I think I understand a lot of his struggles, you know. “A lot of people treat him differently because he’s the big streamer out there, people see him slightly differently, and not in the way you think. Sometimes they treat him worse, sometimes better, but we’re similar in the way that we both just want to play games and have fun, try and make some friends and stuff. And I think that’s why we get along, I think. He’s super cool.” As fans of both streamers will admit, it is an unusual friendship, but the pair seem to get along well, and they clearly want to interact with each other more. We’ll have to wait and see if that’ll come in GTA RP or in Rust when the Offline TV server starts up again.

Sykkuno explains why he will “never” include gambling in his content – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he will “never” include gambling in his content YouTube: SykkunoNewly-minted YouTuber Sykkuno has proclaimed that he will “never” include online gambling in his content. It comes after xQc’s online gambling sponsorship deal prompted a heated debate among the streaming community. Twitch streamer xQc sparked a fiery debate among streamers after revealing that he was going to be promoting gambling sponsors during his streams. Many have spoken out against the practice claiming that it has a bad influence on viewers by encouraging gambling addictions. Whereas others have claimed the finger of blame should be pointed toward the gambling companies rather than the streamers who take sponsorship deals. YouTuber Sykkuno has now shared his take on the row, saying that he won’t be including any gambling in his content. Sykkuno’s content will “never” include gambling On May 18, Sykkuno threw shade at streamers who are indulging in the gambling meta which has taken Twitch by storm. However, he won’t be doing the same. “I’m not doing that, never will,” Sykkuno claimed. “Guys, I don’t want to say too much because most of them are my friends, but I’m not even joking, I opened up Twitch and the top of the top five English streamers were just gambling. “When you have three out of your top five English-speaking streamers doing that it’s…I don’t know, man. I feel like Twitch…I don’t know, it is what it is.” Sykkuno’s comments follow a number of streamers sharing their opinion about the morality surrounding sponsored gambling ads in their content. For example, Twitch streamer Asmongold argued that streamers shouldn’t be blamed for the problem, given the huge amounts of money they are offered for the deals. Sykkuno has made his stance on the debate perfectly clear. However, with streamers being offered whopping amounts of cash to include gambling ads in their content, there could be more streamers who are tempted to take the deal.

Sykkuno explains why he won’t play Dungeons & Dragons again after death threats – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he won’t play Dungeons & Dragons again after death threats Twitch: SykkunoPopular Twitch streamer Sykkuno has explained that he won’t ever play Dungeons & Dragons on stream again, having received death threats from fans when playing the game previously. Sykkuno and the rest of the OfflineTV crew, alongside names such as Pokimane, DisguisedToast, Valkyrae, and more, regularly switch up the games they play together to keep their audience entertained. Over the years, Dungeons & Dragons has been one of those games, and for the most part, it seemed like the crew had plenty of fun playing. It’s been a while though and, with some viewers asking for Sykkuno to return to the game despite never actually streaming it, he’s had to shut down any chance of that happening. Sykkuno has become one of the biggest names on Twitch, especially after seeing huge success with his Among Us streams throughout 2020. However, with how big he has become, comes the bad side of the internet: trolls, online hate and, in this instance, death threats. “DnD was genuinely the worst experience I had with fans, like, ever,” he explained during a July 7 livestream. “And I didn’t even stream it, which is absolutely crazy to me… I remember one time, I felt bad, because this guy was subbed to Lily for 9 months and I banned him because he sent me death threats.” It’s crazy to think that streamers are receiving death threats simply for the way they play a video game, and it makes Sykkuno’s desire to leave the game in the past perfectly understandable. Sykkuno is still seeing a lot of success and having fun playing the likes of Valorant, Rust and GTA RP with his friends, but it’s a shame that he can’t play another game for fear of facing death threat from random viewers.

Sykkuno explains why he doesn’t play GTA RP with Corpse, DisguisedToast & Valkyrae – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he doesn’t play GTA RP with Corpse, DisguisedToast & Valkyrae Twitch: SykkunoStreaming star Sykkuno has explained why he’s been able to stick around in GTA RP for so long while some of his friends have only dipped their toes in. With GTA RP being on the rise once again, a handful of big variety streamers have gotten involved, especially with NopPixel’s hugely popular server. Sykkuno was against joining at first, but he’s become a key part of the city’s criminal underground, especially when it comes to robbing banks and cracking safes. He has been joined in NoPixel by some of his Among Us Amigops pals, but they’ve not taken to the city like he has – and the Twitch star believes he knows why that’s the case. Before jumping into GTA RP on June 18, Sykkuno started his stream as he always does, chatting to fans about a number of different topics. One fan asked him if he had a game in mind that would replace Among Us. Sykkuno noted that GTA has become the game that most streamers play, but it hasn’t quite replaced the social aspect of Among Us for his group, given the likes of Corpse, DisguisedToast, and Valkyrae haven’t quite taken to it like he has. “The fact is guys, a lot of my friends… you don’t see Corpse, Rae, or Toast that much in GTA, because you have to get really really invested,” he said. “And the fact is, if I didn’t meet Mr Lang (Twitch streamer Buddha), I wouldn’t even be doing the vault. There’s almost no chance we would have been able to work our way up from the bottom. You need to know somebody who has been there a while.” While Valkyrae hasn’t fully quit GTA RP – she can still be found playing on stream at times – a few others have. Corpse and Toast both got involved for a few streams, but it’s rare to see them in Los Santos now. On top of that, Sykkuno is planning to get his GTA RP pals into the OfflineTV Minecraft server once they open things up, so it’ll be the best of both worlds.

Sykkuno explains why he thinks xQc will win Streamer of the Year – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he thinks xQc will win Streamer of the Year thestreamerawards.com / YouTube: anthony padillaSykkuno revealed why he thinks Twitch star xQc will take home Streamer of the Year at the 2023 Streamer Awards in spite of stiff competition. The 2023 Streamer Awards are officially open for voting, and both fans and content creators alike are weighing in on the nominees. This year, a slew of categories are open for such awards as “Best Art Streamer,” “Best Soulslike Streamer,” and more… but the most coveted award of all is “Streamer of the Year.” This year, the category boasts four nominees: Hasan, Kai Cenat, Jerma, and xQc. All of these broadcasters are strong contenders for the prize, with Kai Cenat currently in the midst of a month-long subathon and xQc reigning as one of the most-followed streamers on Twitch. However, fellow content creator Sykkuno believes that, out of all four nominees, xQc has the best chance of winning — and he had a humorous reason why he believes this is the case. Sykkuno thinks xQc will take home 2023 Streamer of the Year During a YouTube stream on February 20, Sykkuno claimed that xQc is most likely to take home Streamer of the Year due to his penchant for not showing up to events and still getting invited back a second time. “I feel like x probably would get the vote, and here’s why. You know he’s the Streamer of the Year, and you know he’s probably the biggest deal in streaming, ’cause of the amount of times he gets invited to an event, straight up doesn’t show up, and then gets invited again, anyway.” “Normally, if you say you’re going to an event and don’t show up, you’re never getting invited again. But I guess you can tell he’s such an important streamer that he can literally not show up to an event repeatedly, and still get invited next time.” As part of his argument, Sykkuno mentioned the time xQc had double-booked the premiere of his ‘Juiced’ game show with Ludwig on the same day as Twitch Rivals, leading to him nearly missing the event altogether. xQc has notoriously passed up on big events that he was slated to appear at in the past, most notably Shitcamp 2022, which prompted a slew of back-and-forth arguments among the streamers involved. Voting for the 2023 Streamer Awards ends on March 4, with the show going live on March 11. Until then, there’s no way to tell for certain if Sykkuno’s theory will hold water (or to know if xQc will actually show up to the Awards, at all).

Sykkuno explains why he could never have a ‘roleplay relationship’ in GTA RP – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains why he could never have a ‘roleplay relationship’ in GTA RP SykkunoTwitch star Sykkuno may be making waves in GTA RP, but there’s one thing he’s adamant that he won’t ever do in the game: have a ‘roleplay relationship’. Despite being released almost a decade ago, GTA V’s multiplayer counterpart GTA Online continues to be one of the most played games around. It’s had a real boost in popularity lately thanks to stars like xQc and summit1g taking part in GTA RP. GTA RP is a multiplayer mod for the PC version of GTA V that allows players to enter user-created roleplay servers (like the popular NoPixel server) as a customizable NPC to do everything from robbing banks to flipping burgers. While he initially refused to join the hype, Sykkuno is now one of the most well-known streamers who’ve taken part in GTA RP, causing chaos in the process. But he’s revealed that one thing he would never do in GTA RP is enter into a ‘roleplay relationship’. Why Sykkuno won’t have a roleplay relationship in GTA RP In a recent stream on Twitch, Sykkuno explained why the idea of being in a roleplay relationship isn’t something he likes the sound of. “For me personally, I don’t think I could have a roleplay relationship,” he said. “And this is coming from a dude who’s like taking hostages, robbing banks, threatening to shoot people, and it’s like, ‘Oh yeah I can do that’, but then when it comes to this… I can’t do it.” Sykkuno was quick to clarify that he doesn’t have a problem with other people taking part in ‘roleplay relationships’ through GTA RP, but it’s something that would feel “weird” for him to pursue personally. “I’m not saying anything is wrong with it, because obviously, it’s roleplay, right? I’m robbing banks and people are getting shot, you know? It’s all just role-play. But I don’t know, for some reason that just feels weird for me. I have no clue.” Topic begins at 11:43 Sykkuno may not have been playing GTA RP for long, but he certainly wasn’t lying when he said he has no problem causing chaos in the game with bank heists and hostage situations. The popular streamer has gotten a reputation for constantly punching people in the face in the game, and has even teamed up with Pokimane for a hilarious police chase.

Sykkuno explains how Ludwig has helped make YouTube a “true Twitch rival” – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains how Ludwig has helped make YouTube a “true Twitch rival” YouTube: Ludwig/ SykkunoSykkuno has praised YouTuber Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren for helping grow the platform into a “true” competitor against Amazon-owned platform Twitch. Ludwig shook the internet in November 2021 when he announced that he was making the big move from Twitch to YouTube. Things got off to a rocky start for the 27-year-old who faced a series of bans just days after the change and has shared his struggles with getting to grips with YouTube’s streaming setup. However, not only had Ludwig’s toil worked well in the end for him, but his friend Sykkuno believes that he’s actually helped to improve YouTube as a streaming platform for his fellow creators. Sykkuno praises YouTube for hiring Ludwig During his stream on July 7, Sykkuno watched LilyPichu’s announcement that was moving to YouTube Gaming after having streamed on Twitch for 10 years. According to Sykkuno, it is thanks to Ludwig that a number of big-name streamers have followed in his footsteps and switched to YouTube from Twitch. “I think the best person YouTube got for sure was Ludwig,” he claimed. “Everyone looks up to Ludwig. He went before me, and him going made me feel comfortable. Then me and him both going probably made more people feel more comfortable.” (Topic begins at 9:20 in the video) He further congratulated the YouTuber for “always pushing” to create unique and entertaining content for his fans such as his incredibly successful all-star Mogul Money Live event. His viewers were quick to point out the work of his friend Valkyrae who has been streaming exclusively for YouTube since 2020. However, he explained that she “grew up” on YouTube and so already had a strong following as she exclusively signed with the platform. Sykkuno refused to “spill” any further information as to who could also soon be making the move. However, he added we can expect to see “more” YouTube announcement videos soon.

Sykkuno explains the odd reason why he wasn’t able to get into a Vegas nightclub – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains the odd reason why he wasn’t able to get into a Vegas nightclub Twitch.tv/SykkunoSykkuno is one of the biggest names in streaming. His ascent to the top of the scene has been a long time coming, but that doesn’t mean that he’s famous enough to avoid some embarrassing public incidents. Sykkuno has amassed a huge following as a streamer over the last few years. While he’s been around the scene for quite some time, his explosion in popularity started back in 2019 and was further bolstered by the rising wave of Among Us in 2020. While it might seem like 3.8 million Twitch followers is as good as gold in this day and age, there are still a few hurdles that internet fame can’t get you past… one of them being a Las Vegas bouncer. It took some urging from his friends, but Sykkuno reluctantly agreed to go out for the night. When they got to the door of the club, however, things went a little off-the-rails. Every member of his group was allowed into the building except for him. While the rest of his friends were dressed appropriately for the occasion, his outfit wasn’t quite up to the establishment’s liking. Sykkuno’s Vegas Nightclub story It pays to have good friends, and it looks like Tony, or ‘AnthonyZ’ as he’s known on Twitch, stepped in to save the day this time. Being a fan of expensive clothing, Tony allowed Sykkuno to borrow some stuff out of his collection so that the night could roll on. As a duo, Sykkuno and Tony are well known for their work together on the NoPixel GTA RP server, but it seems they make quite the pair in real life too. Sykkuno’s more laidback style was definitely under the microscope while they were hanging out, but he seemed to take it in good spirits. Some clips of the two friends popped up on social media throughout their time in Vegas, including this one, which seems to corroborate Sykkuno’s story. please the contrast between tony and sykkuno’s drip checks 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/Tlhvl6vYMj — ceci 🌱☀️🐰🍞🥕🧼 (@simpkkvno) September 25, 2021 While he was clearly a little out of his comfort zone, he managed to adjust to the borrowed clothing well enough to give the story a happy end – or at least, as happy as it can be in a dark nightclub that you didn’t want to be at in the first place. With that experience out of the way, the streamer can move on to the more important problems he’s facing as a content creator – like improving at Madden so he can stop getting roasted by Ludwig.

Sykkuno expertly shuts down fan claiming they saw him in real life – Dexerto
Sykkuno expertly shuts down fan claiming they saw him in real life Twitch: SykkunoTwitch star Sykkuno had a hilarious method for shutting down a braggadocious fan who claimed they’d seen him in real life. Sykkuno is a hugely popular Twitch streamer who first broke into the limelight back in 2020. Dubbed ‘the friendliest streamer on Twitch,’ Sykkuno is known for his chilled-out vibes and being exceedingly polite and soft-spoken, earning him an adoring fanbase of over 4 million followers. As a major Twitch star, it stands to reason that he might get recognized while going out in public from time to time… but in this particular case, the incident never happened, at all. During a recent broadcast with fellow broadcasters like xQc, Sykkuno noticed a unique comment from one of his viewers in the chat. The commenter claimed they’d seen Sykkuno while browsing at a bookstore. “It was the first time seeing him in person,” they wrote. “He was reading a book.” At first, Sykkuno seemed to be confused by the statement and wondered if it hadn’t happened “a long time ago.” Unfortunately for the commenter, he was about to disprove their entire narrative with a single, devastating sentence. “Oh, you definitely didn’t, then,” he said after reading the entire comment aloud. “I definitely was not reading a book, that’s for sure. That’s how you know the story’s not true, because I don’t read books.” It looks like Sykkuno’s preferred pastime isn’t settling down with a novel, but rather playing Rust with his friends online… something that’s garnered him a huge following and a ton of friendships, along the way. Currently, Sykkuno is celebrating the launch of his very first merch line, which features his favorite color (green) and items like scarves, hoodies, tees, and more.

Sykkuno explains concerns with OfflineTV Rust server relaunch – Dexerto
Sykkuno explains concerns with OfflineTV Rust server relaunch Twitch: Sykkuno/Facepunch StudiosStreaming star Sykkuno has hinted at the fact that he may not stick with the OfflineTV Rust server when it relaunches given that its going to be pretty different this time around. At the end of 2020, a number of Twitch’s biggest names all dove into the OfflineTV Rust server and helped propel the game to being the most-watched category on Twitch. Over time, the server split up between those who were there mainly to roleplay, and those who wanted a more natural Rust experience with constant battles, looting, and griefing. It all culminated in a big blow-off between xQc’s squad, Team Rocket, and Myth’s team, as the two fought for a few hours over one spot of land. It’s been revealed that the server is making a return in July, with a number of big names signed up again. However, Sykkuno isn’t sure if he’ll be a part of it. During the start of his May 28 stream, the popular content creator spoke about a few different topics, including how GTA RP is starting to ‘slow down’ for criminals and how it might be time to jump off. Sykkuno noted that he’s going to join OfflineTV’s Minecraft server when that gets going, but he isn’t too sure about playing Rust again. “I’ll be honest guys, I’m not sure if I’m playing on the Rust server,” he said. “Let me explain why: the Rust server, from what I’ve been told, is not like a roleplay Rust server – it’s just regular Rust, with streamers. Which means, everyone just kills each other on sight.” Sykkuno continued on, noting that he doesn’t think it’s “fun” to “senselessly kill each other,” which is essentially what Rust boils down to when you’re not roleplaying. The streamer noted that he’ll probably try it out, given his friends will be playing, but it could become pretty boring, pretty quickly.

Sykkuno embarrassed as JustaMinx can’t stop simping for his new “bowl cut” hair – Dexerto
Sykkuno embarrassed as JustaMinx can’t stop simping for his new “bowl cut” hair Sykkuno/JustaMinxTwitch star JustaMinx was playing Fortnite alongside fellow streamer Sykkuno when she gassed up his new haircut in the funniest way possible. Fortnite developer Epic Games made a massive change to the popular third-person shooter when they completely removed building from the game. The change was a drastic move as it leveled the playing field for those who hadn’t refined their building skills over the years. It also brought back many big streamers, like xQc and Pokimane, who haven’t played the game in quite a long time. The update also brought back creators Sykkuno and JustaMinx, who shared a great moment together involving Sykkuno’s new hairdo. JustaMinx loves Sykkuno’s new bowl cut Sykkuno was streaming on March 24 when Minx had a bizarre question for him. “Sykkuno, I have a question. Who let you play this?” He responded in confusion, “What do you mean let me play this?” Minx responded, “Like, who let you play this lookin’ so FINE! With that new haircut! You should be in Just Chatting motherf**ker! You play Fortnite looking that good?!” He couldn’t believe how hard she went to praise his new cut, “What the heck! Thanks, I think.” Despite being one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, Sykkuno has a reputation for being shy, and often downplays any interest he gets from women in particular. Sykkuno clarified the style is a “bowl cut,” and Minx wasn’t done obsessing over it. “I personally think you look amazing. I’m trying to watch the gameplay here, but I cannot take my eyes off how good you look with that haircut!” Blau: Sykkuno, why is your haircut kinda…. Sykkuno: It’s a bowl cut, man Wendy: It looks good! Minx: I didn’t want to be that person, but I personally think you look AMAZING! Sykkuno is demanding Twitter remove his verified tick, and Corpse Husband has his back – Dexerto
Sykkuno is demanding Twitter remove his verified tick, and Corpse Husband has his back Twitch: Sykkuno / YouTube: Anthony PadillaIn February 2021, Sykkuno’s fans rallied for him to get verified on Twitter. But now that he has been, he doesn’t want it and many of them, including Corpse Husband, have his back is his latest demands. Sykkuno’s fan’s campaigned hard for him to get Twitter verified after the social networking giants seemingly snubbed him. It even got to the point where #VerifySykkuno started trending on the platform. However, he played it down at the time and insisted that he doesn’t care about being verified. “I don’t need it. Guys, I barely use Twitter. I barely use it,” he said. “I tweet like once a month and occasionally reply.” Still, that didn’t stop it from happening. And now that it has, he told Twitter to “unverify [him] or else.” And some of his closest friends, including CorpseHusband and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, rallied behind him. Corpse Husband led the charge by writing a scratching message. “You heard the man,” he said. “He blocked you, and you still didn’t unverify him. Why are you so obsessed? Get a job. We ride with Sykkuno. He never asked for this.” Poki also chimed in and made it clear that she has his back. “Who do I need to pay to unverify Sykkuno?” she wrote. Read More: Corpse Husband pops off on Twitch viewer – It’s all very tongue-in-cheek, which has gotten people confused about whether or not they’re serious about it. However, #UnverifySykkuno is gaining traction, with thousands urging them to take his tick away. YOU HEARD THE MAN, HE BLOCKED U AND U STILL DIDNT UNVERIFY HIM, WHY R U SO OBSESSED??? GET A JOB WE RIDE W/ SYKKUNO, HE NEVER ASKED FOR THIS— Corpse Husband (@Corpse_Husband) September 16, 2021 Given that Sykkuno made it clear he didn’t care about being verified, some fans assume he is serious, especially since it wasn’t something he asked for. However, many others don’t know what to make of it; they aren’t 100% sure if he and his friends are mucking around or not. Sykkuno embarrassed as autofill ruins Corpse Husband Jackbox rap battle – Dexerto
Sykkuno embarrassed as autofill ruins Corpse Husband Jackbox rap battle Twitter: Corpse Hubsand / YouTube: SykkunoStreamer Sykkuno was left red-faced during a round of Jackbox’s rap battle game ‘Mad Verse City’ after the autofill feature suggested some rather bizarre lines to complete his verses, along with Corpse Husband, Karl Jacobs, and GeorgeNotFound. The rise of Among Us and the DreamSMP mean that countless creators have crossed path online in collaborations over the past year, forming friendships and streaming groups that fans have grown to love. One friendship that viewers love to watch is that of Corpse Husband and Sykkuno – both of which experienced a huge boost in popularity amid the Among Us hype. They teamed up with fellow streamers Karl Jacobs and GeorgeNotFound to play a game of Jackbox’s rap battle game ‘Mad Verse City.’ Mad Verse City sees players write lyrics for a rap, and have robots read out the verses on the screen. However, if someone is feeling a little stuck and doesn’t know what to write, they’re able to request a suggestion or ‘Write for Me’ option which will autofill the line you’re missing. This also happens if you don’t finish writing in time. This can produce some rather funny sounding raps, as Sykkuno and his fellow streamers discovered. When Sykkuno came up against Corpse Husband his rhyme ended up becoming, “if you hate me you’ll hate my fishnets/ they look good on apples so lets/ I’m so strong because I eat all my apples/ I only pretend to be friends with you.” CORPSE VS SYKKUNO RAP BATTLE pic.twitter.com/ibugsFVTZA — Sykkuno Clips 🌱 (@botkkuno) February 1, 2021 The last line naturally sends everyone on stream rolling, as Sykkuno protested in the background, “wait, I didn’t finish it so it auto-filled. I didn’t type that, it auto-fills when you don’t finish in time!” He also made another accidentally iconic verse when playing against Karl Jacobs, when the games auto-filled the final line of his turn to, “I will physically fight you” instead of “I like playing with you even when you’re imposter” which would have rhymed with the previous line, but he ran out of time. KARL VS SYKKUNO RAP BATTLE pic.twitter.com/Xl4a7jXT9x — Sykkuno Clips 🌱 (@botkkuno) February 1, 2021 He brought up the autofill on Twitter after the stream with a tweet saying, “I’m never letting it autofill again” in all caps. While the autofill may have caused Sykkuno to look unintentionally shady, it was hilarious for the other players and of course the viewers, who will no doubt be looking forward to the next time they play this chaotic game.

Sykkuno, Corpse Husband & more react to Valkyrae in DAYWALKER! music video – Dexerto
Sykkuno, Corpse Husband & more react to Valkyrae in DAYWALKER! music video YouTube: MGKIn case you’ve been living under a rock, popular YouTube streamer Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter broke the internet with her appearance in Corpse Husband & Machine Gun Kelly’s music video. Machine Gun Kelly and Corpse worked together on ‘DAYWALKER!’ which released on March 11 to much fanfare. Of course, one of Corpse’s identifying features is actually his lack of identity. Still wanting to maintain anonymity, they needed someone to be him in the music video, and up stepped Valkyrae. Taking the role of Corpse, Rae put on a fantastic performance in the video, and has been receiving mass praise for the performance. A number of Rae’s peers from across the internet reached out to her and Corpse to say how great it is, including fellow 100 Thieves members and more. Karl Jacobs reached out to say he was “so proud” of Rae for “constantly killing it.” So proud of u for constantly killin it :] Keep up the good work!— karl 🙂 (@KarlJacobs_) March 19, 2021 Fellow 100 Thieves content creator Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop simply stated that he “believes in Valkyrae supremacy” — a statement echoed by her huge legion of fans. Sykkuno also reached out to Valkyrae, calling her “amazing” for the music video. Corpse Husband himself even spoke about the video on stream, commending Rae on the “awesome” job she did. Discussing the release with the likes of LilyPichu, Dream, TinaKitten and more, Corpse says the star “outdid herself so much” with the costume and video. Timestamp 1:23 Obviously, a huge number of names reached out to congratulate everyone involved, including BrookeAB, Jacksepticeye and Alexia Raye among others. Whether we see more Valkyrae music videos in the future remains to be seen, but needless to say, she’s made a good name for herself here. Who knows, she could become the permanent face of Corpse Husband if he keeps putting popular songs out!

Sykkuno defends xQc after his ban from NoPixel GTA RP server – Dexerto
Sykkuno defends xQc after his ban from NoPixel GTA RP server Twitch: Sykkuno / xQcxQc, the most-watched streamer in the world, was banned from the NoPixel servers for GTA RP for a third time in April, as moderators said he broke the rules while streaming. But, Sykkuno has come to his defense, arguing that the hate xQc is receiving seems harsh. xQc earned his third ban from NoPixel after he appeared to encourage his chat to ‘chat hop’ to another streamer, after he was thrown in jail (virtually). Some of xQc’s viewers did indeed go to the chat of the GTA roleplay who had arrested ‘X’ (xQc’s character), and criticized them. Shroud also questioned the ban, suggesting the server’s rules were “all over the place”. xQc was never one to shy away from drama and confrontation in the server – all in the name of entertainment for viewers – but, many of the other streamers enjoyed his presence, including Sykkuno. Sykkuno: ‘xQc is a good guy’ Sykkuno explained on his April 7 stream that he wasn’t totally clear on why xQc was banned in the first place, but could only speak from his point of view. Read More: xQc’s G FUEL flavor revealed: The Juice – “What I can say is that he’s always been nice to me. And, he’s good at making people laugh. So, I don’t think he’s all bad,” Sykkuno said. “Does that make [what xQc did] ok? I have no clue, but that’s not up to me. I just think he’s been a good guy before, and he’s always been nice to me.” Thankfully, the ban is to be short-lived. On stream on April 8, xQc said that he expects his ban to be lifted in the coming days, after speaking to the admins. “For all the RP andy’s, if I’m unbanned, it will probably either later tonight or tomorrow. I spoke to the admins,” Lengyell confirmed. So, we can expect to see xQc and Sykkuno tearing it up in Los Santos again soon – with plans to potentially carry out a heist.

Sykkuno concerned Twitch exclusivity change could be “really bad” for streamers – Dexerto
Sykkuno concerned Twitch exclusivity change could be “really bad” for streamers Twitch: SykkunoSykkuno is one of the latest streamers to share his fears over the rumored monetization changes that could soon be coming to Twitch, with the worry that the change could have a particularly damaging effect on big streamers. As one of the world’s leading streaming platforms, Twitch has amassed over 2 million broadcasters since it was bought by Amazon in 2014, with 50k creators going on to become partners. Many partnered streamers have gone on to enjoy very profitable careers thanks to a 50/50 or 70/30 revenue split by streaming exclusively on the platform. However, Twitch is reportedly eyeing up a series of monetization changes. According to Bloomberg, this includes revenue splits being capped at 50/50 and streamers including more ad breaks. Not only that, but Twitch reportedly plans to cut exclusivity deals, meaning creators could stream on multiple platforms. Understandably, the streaming community has been rocked by the rumors with many creators already speaking out against the changes. Now, Sykkuno has voiced his thoughts that the changes could be “very bad” for streamers. However, he went against the grain saying the “no exclusivity” plans could also be a problem. Sykkuno disagrees with fans over Twitch exclusivity plans There were several changes in the report which were blasted by Twitch viewers and streamers, alike. However, the idea of exclusivity deals being cut was met with praise as it would allow streamers to broadcast on multiple platforms. Yet, Sykkuno claimed it was also a “bad” idea. “It sounds good, but it’s bad because of what you get for exclusivity,” he explained. “A lot of big streamers get special deals to stay on Twitch […] the thing is no exclusivity means they’re not going to get those deals anymore.” After a fan argued that no exclusivity would be better for bigger streamers, Sykkuno disagreed saying it could be “really bad.” He claimed: “A lot of big streamers have a contract to be exclusive with Twitch and they get a lot of money. So, if Twitch says ‘we’re not doing that anymore’ that means they don’t get those contracts anymore.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq_LzCjsGII Sykkuno worried over “scary” Twitch changes Similar to his fellow streamers, Sykkuno expressed his fears over Twitch’s reported plans to cap revenue splits to 50% is “really bad” as creators could “lose out on a lot of money.” Sykkuno also panned the possible change of more ads being included during streams. The topic of ad usage has been particularly controversial in recent times with Twitch offering $100 to streamers who run two minutes of ads for every hour they stream, much to the anger of viewers. “I think it’s going a little far,” the streamer said. “I think everyone’s already seen a lot of the changes they plan on doing which is kind of scary, honestly.”

Sykkuno & Corpse Husband end drunk Among Us game with best double kill ever – Dexerto
Sykkuno & Corpse Husband end drunk Among Us game with best double kill ever Twitch: Sykkuno/InnerslothStreaming stars Sykkuno and Corpse Husband pulled off an absolutely brilliant and 1000 IQ play in Among Us, getting everybody to drink so they could get kills undetected. In mid-2020, Among Us took over the internet after streamers flocked to it. As a result, Innersloth’s social deduction game has given us plenty of memorable moments. We’ve seen players come up with ridiculous ways to blame others for kills, pull off dangerous vent moves to go on a kill streak of their own, as well as everything in-between. Some streamers moved away from the game as others, like Rust, became a bit more popular, but a group including Sykkuno, Corpse Husband, Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, and others have made a return – and already given us some more memorable moments. One such brilliant moment came during their January 30 session, where the group decided to add a little twist to proceedings by playing while drinking. With everyone getting into the swing of things and taking drinks at different moments, Corpse and Sykkuno used it to their advantage. “Alright, everybody take a drink”, said Corpse as the remaining players were bunched up and stood on top of each other. In doing so, the players left themselves vulnerable to the two imposters. Corpse and Sykkuno quickly struck with a brilliant double kill, ending the game, and giving themselves the win. “We did it Corpse! We did it!” shouted Sykkuno, laughing about how they’d managed to pull off such a dastardly double kill. “Wow!” some of the streamers said upon losing. “I can’t believe this. I can’t believe you guys just did that.” Obviously, it helps when everyone has had a few drinks and are going along with the shenanigans of standing together, but if it wasn’t well-timed, the pair would have been caught out and lost. So, they have to be commended for their genius plan.

Sykkuno clears the air regarding stream break with upcoming OfflineTV Japan trip – Dexerto
Sykkuno clears the air regarding stream break with upcoming OfflineTV Japan trip YouTube: SykkunoSykkuno has cleared up the rumors of a break after fans were convinced the streaming star was joining OfflineTV’s trip to Japan. OfflineTV and friends are packing their bags and heading to Japan. Being part of the famous friend group, fans were convinced that YouTube streamer Sykkuno would be joining them on the trip. However, the popular YouTube streamer has cleared the air, revealing that he won’t be heading to Japan, and ultimately won’t be taking a short break from streaming as expected by his fans. In a short clip posted on June 25, Sykkuno straight up denied any involvement of being part of OfflineTV’s upcoming and anticipated trip to Asia. “Are you going to Japan,” asked one viewer of the streamer. “I don’t think so,” Sukkuno casually responded. Another fan followed up, confused by the answer. “Wait you aren’t going,” they asked. “Where on earth did I ever say I was? I felt kinda weird about that because randomly people started saying I was going to Japan,” said the popular streamer. “I never once said that, or even hinted at it. “So I have absolutely no idea where it came from.” Fans began explaining that they got the idea from fellow OTV friend Valkyrae. However, Sykkuno hit back once again: “I don’t think she said that and if she did she’s probably wrong. I never said that to anybody, or even planned on it.” With the trip to Japan expected to happen sometime in July, there’s plenty of time for Sykkuno to change his mind, and fans would absolutely love to see him there with the rest of OffllineTV. However, only time will tell if we’ll see the popular YouTube streamer in Asia with his friends.

Sykkuno claims the best thing about Twitch had nothing to do with the platform – Dexerto
Sykkuno claims the best thing about Twitch had nothing to do with the platform YouTube: SykkunoIn response to a fan who asked him whether he likes YouTube better than Twitch following his monumental move, Sykkuno claimed the best thing about Twitch actually had nothing to do with the platform itself. After exploding in popularity throughout the last couple of years on Twitch, Sykkuno announced a shock move to their biggest rival, YouTube, after reportedly being offered a “ridiculous” amount of money to make the switch. He’s since opened up about the move, admitting a major blunder on Twitch’s behalf influenced his decision, and how he felt “replaceable” on their platform. Now, he claims the best thing about his former home at Twitch had nothing to do with them. After a fan asked him whether he likes YouTube more than Twitch, he replied: “I will say that the thing I liked more about Twitch wasn’t even Twitch. It was just the community there, which is kind of weird to say because I guess that’s part of it.” He explained that he never felt like he had any sort of “attachment” to Twitch. Instead, it was more about his attachment to fans and viewers in chat and the “fun” they had together, which he “can still do” on YouTube. “Giving Twitch credit is just wrong because it’s not Twitch that makes it fun,” he continued. “It’s the community. “I don’t want to be mean to them. I know that’s weird to say. But yeah, it’s not like their website magically made it fun. It was the people that were there.” Like other streamers who moved from Twitch to YouTube, Sykkuno has settled into his new home well. He currently has a little under 3 million subscribers, which is a little less than the 4 million followers he had on Twitch. However, his average viewership isn’t far off the mark, and according to SocialBlade, the trajectory of his growth looks promising. So, it’s fair to say that he’s already well on the way to re-establishing his community after the big move.

Sykkuno claims Twitch believes star streamers are “replaceable” amid YouTube exodus – Dexerto
Sykkuno claims Twitch believes star streamers are “replaceable” amid YouTube exodus Twitch: SykunnoStreaming star Sykkuno has claimed that Twitch believes big streamers are “replaceable” following his unexpected move from the Amazon-owned site to YouTube Gaming. On May 2, Twitch streamer Sykkuno, with over 4M followers on the platform, followed the footsteps of his peers such as Ludwig, Valkyrae, DrLupo, TimTheTatman, by unveiling his shocking move to YouTube Gaming as the site’s newest exclusive signing The streaming star explained that the original offer he received from Twitch was “garbage” but they soon matched YouTube’s offer. However, the decision was ultimately a no-brainer, after Twitch messed up with a name blunder by calling him “Sukkuno.” Now, in a recent podcast, he said he thinks that Twitch believes their biggest creators are “replaceable” as they continue to make the switch away. In a recent episode of Sapnap’s and Karl’s podcast on May 5, they talked about the hot topic of Sykkuno leaving Twitch. It was then that Sykkuno opened up about how he thinks that other creators on the Amazon-owned platform are being treated as replaceable. “I think they’re treating it like creators are just replaceable,” said Sykkuno. “Like they might be right, which is why for me it makes more sense to take deals like that because if I’m replaceable I’m never going to get it again, you know? “If I’m not replaceable then they might learn their lesson and they’ll hopefully value it more highly next time. So I think it’s just one of those things where they’re trying to see how it ends up.” Timestamp of 4:42 Following Sykkuno’s move to the red side, fellow streamer DisguisedToast revealed he knows that “at least” 5 more Twitch streamers are moving to YouTube. However, he didn’t give any indication as to who the five could be. With reports pointing towards major revenue changes hitting Twitch this summer, it could give more incentives to others to leave as well. But, we’ll just have to wait and see who ends up jumping ship next.

Sykkuno becomes fastest growing streamer on Twitch – Dexerto
Sykkuno becomes fastest growing streamer on Twitch Sykkuno / TwitchPopular content creator Sykkuno has become the fastest-growing streamer on Twitch, after building a massive following from entertaining variety streams, Among Us, and collaborations on his channel. Although he has been streaming for many years, Sykkuno has seen a massive jump in popularity in recent months, pulling in tens of thousands of viewers during each of his broadcasts. The soft-spoken streamer’s rise first began through the star-studded Among Us lobbies, and much like fellow content creator Corpse Husband, his unique voice captured the attention of new viewers on Twitch, which he has converted into a hardcore audience. Sykkuno has also been living with the OfflineTV members in recent months but after recently leaving the content house, he has revealed his plans to consistently entertain fans with a variety of content, such as Among Us, Minecraft streams, and more. The Twitch star has also collaborated with some of the top gaming creators during his rise to fame, playing with the likes of Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, and even James Charles in previous streams. Now that his hard work is finally paying off, it was revealed that Sykkuno was actually the fastest-growing streamer on Twitch in early December, after gaining over 620,000 followers in the last 30 days, according to TwitchMetrics. Botted followers skew stats While there are some channels that have gained millions of followers in the last month, the top four streamers, including G2 content creator Heelmike, have all been victims of a follow bot that has been circulating. As Sykkuno is currently ranked in fifth behind these botted channels, excluding the official Twitch page, he technically holds the title as the fastest-growing creator on Twitch, in the last 30 days. Sykkuno edged ahead of popular Spanish streamers like AuronPlay and G2’s Ibai Llanos, who have also seen massive growth in 2020, to claim the top spot. The Twitch streamer is showing no signs of slowing down either, as he is continuing to pump out content after hitting such an incredible milestone.

Sykkuno calls Amigops snub “weird” in Streamer Awards Among Us recap – Dexerto
Sykkuno calls Amigops snub “weird” in Streamer Awards Among Us recap Twitch: Sykkuno/InnerslothTwitch star Sykkuno admitted it felt “weird” to see himself and the Amigops – Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, and Corpse Husband – left out of the Among Us recap section of the Streamer Awards in favor of other creators. While Innersloth’s Among Us was released in 2018, it took until 2020 for it to become an internet phenomenon. At the back end of 2020, it was near impossible to go on social media without seeing at least one clip from the party game. Even though plenty of streamers and content creators jumped on board with the game, it was the Amigops – Disguised Toast, Sykkuno, Valkyrae, and Corpse Husband – who led the way with their all-star lobbies and hijinx. Plenty has been made about the group helping make Among Us an even bigger success than it already was, and their lobbies were even shown some love on late-night shows. Though, when it came to the Streamer Awards, they didn’t quite get the recognition. In his March 13 stream, Sykkuno was reflecting on the community award show, praising his pals for winning awards. Though, he couldn’t help but feel snubbed when it came to the Among Us recap portion of the night. “Me, Toast, and Rae were like ‘oh my god guys this is our chance, we’re going to be on TV’ and then you look at the Among Us section and like none of us were in it,” the Twitch star said while watching part of the show back. Sykkuno noted that Trainwrecks got some shine during the section, which made sense given his success with the game too, but it “felt weird” that the Amigops were left out. “I was just so confused, I don’t want to be like overconfident or something but I was just shocked that literally none of us were included in the Among Us section,” he added. The streamer further noted that he didn’t want to point the finger of blame at anyone as they simply may just not have known. “There were so many good Among Us clips, and they didn’t have any of us,” he continued. “I hope that’s not weird to say because someone out there is going to be like ‘oh man this guy just wanted to be on the screen’ but I do feel like it was strange to have the Among Us section and not have any of the people who played Among Us every single day, all the time.” Obviously, it’s just one recap of the Among Us era, but everyone will remember the impact that Amigops had regardless of their snub.

Sykkuno baffled after discovering BTS tweets when searching his name on Twitter – Dexerto
Sykkuno baffled after discovering BTS tweets when searching his name on Twitter YouTube: Offline FunnyYouTube streamer Sykkuno was left baffled after discovering that when he searches his name on Twitter, tweets about popular K-Pop group BTS show up instead of tweets about the creator. It’s not the first time Sykkuno has been a part of a wrong search result scenario. Valkyrae found out in August 2021 that after switching to YouTube Gaming, those who searched her name on Twitch were greeted by Sykkuno’s channel instead. Now, Sykkuno has been left baffled after realizing he’s in a similar situation on Twitter as tweets about the popular K-Pop band BTS appear when he searches his name. Sykkuno was baffled after finding BTS tweets During a recent stream, fans in chat asked Sykkuno if they could have a ‘fan art’ section in the community Discord server. The YouTuber replied: “I probably should.” He went on to explain how he has been checking out fan art, and that there recently has been an issue that’s left him baffled. “I would usually go on Twitter, search Sykkuno and I could see fan art or people in merch. But lately, I search Sykkuno and I get a bunch of BTS stuff. It’s not that I dislike BTS or anything, I just get very confused. It’s hard to see the stuff anymore,” Sykkuno explained. “I’m trying to see it and 90% of its BTS and I’m like, ‘am I searching the right thing?’” https://youtu.be/lbFONitmm0I Dexerto searched the creator’s name as a test and received differing results, but that likely could be due to the algorithm of the platform. Sykkuno appears in Bella Poarch ‘Dolls’ music video and Grimes could join him – Dexerto
Sykkuno appears in Bella Poarch ‘Dolls’ music video and Grimes could join him Instagram: Grimes, bellapoarch / Twitch: SykkunoBella Poarch is working up to the release of her next song, ‘Dolls,’ and teased a quick clip of the track’s upcoming music video — which features a few big social media stars, and possibly even Grimes herself. Bella Poarch’s next big track is on the way… and with it, another big-budget music video. First breaking into the music biz with her debut track ‘Build a Bitch’ last year, Poarch later released her song ‘Inferno’ in August 2021 to high praise from fans. Both songs had accompanying music videos that featured a slew of influencers, like Valkyrae, Pokimane, Bretman Rock, Larray, and more. It looks like this trend is set to continue with Poarch’s next music video for her upcoming song ‘Dolls,’ as she teased a short snippet of the vid in a Twitter clip on July 12. The video shows YouTube streamer Sykkuno applying a powderpuff to singer and influencer Madison Beer’s face. The two seem to be in a salon of sorts, with Sykkuno dressed in a pink uniform with a fast-food sailor hat akin to In-N-Out. The camera then pans over to another area of the shop, where Larray, also dressed as a worker, dusts decorations with a feather duster. Makeup guru Bretman Rock can be seen looking through the shop window before the clip ends — and fans can’t wait to see the full thing. That’s not all; Poarch uploaded yet another clip from the music video on July 13, which shows a distraught Bella Poarch cradling an unconscious Valkyrae. Someone mysterious approaches them with a cybernetic hand… and it could be Grimes, if Bella’s tag is anything to go by. Dolls is set to release on Friday July 15, 2022 — and even though it hasn’t come out yet, it’s already achieved viral status on TikTok where it’s become a mainstream trend.

Sykkuno announces shock move to YouTube Gaming – Dexerto
Sykkuno announces shock move to YouTube Gaming Sykkuno Twitch / YouTubeSykkuno has announced a move to YouTube Gaming as the site’s newest exclusive signing after skyrocketing to Twitch fame. Fans saw the writing on the wall days ahead of the reveal, but now everyone’s favorite green-hoodied streamer is preparing for the next chapter of his career. Joining close friend Valkyrae, Sykkuno is the latest name of top-talent broadcasters in the scene to make the leap to YouTube. The 100T co-owner made a cameo appearance in Sykkuno’s announcement video, which was largely aimed at promising his fans that nothing other than the URL would change after the switch. Sykkuno went from a small-time streamer who would occasionally feature in big Twitch streams to commanding his own audience with an insane four million followers. May 1 indeed marked the last ‘National Sykkuno Day’ on Twitch, which culminated into an emotional stream that had many wondering if it was his last hurrah on the site. YouTube courted the soft-spoken streamer away from Twitch, where he’ll now broadcast for his 2.66 million subscribers on the site. Sykkuno quickly made a name for himself as Twitch’s wholesome streamer and pushed past brief episodes of drama throughout his rise on the platform. The streamer follows a litany of top talent who have made the move over to Google’s branch of the industry, leaving Amazon’s streaming brand behind. People like Ludwig, Valky, DrLupo, TimTheTatman, and more have also exclusively signed with YouTube Gaming. Sykkuno will make his YouTube Gaming debut on May 3 days after bidding his fans a fond farewell to his former streaming home.

Sykkuno announces streaming return with Valkyrae after moving to Vegas – Dexerto
Sykkuno announces streaming return with Valkyrae after moving to Vegas SykkunoSykkuno has been busy moving to Las Vegas, but his return to streaming is imminent. He’s set to return on January 17 alongside some big names including Valkyrae. Sykkuno announced he was moving to Las Vegas after dropping hints for quite some time. He started moving on January 15, and naturally, it meant he wouldn’t be streaming until the move was complete. Fortunately, it seems like he’s all settled in and almost ready to go. He hasn’t posted anything about it yet. However, he mentioned it to another streamer named Ray_C while playing Rust. Then, it was also later confirmed by Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter. Sykkuno crossed paths with Ray C on the OfflineTV Rust server. Initially, they were talking about the game and preparing for a potential team fight. Then, Ray_C wished him well with the move. “I hope your move goes well, man,” he said. There was a bit over overlap at first. However, Sykkuno didn’t hesitate to respond once he had a chance. “It’s going pretty well,” he said. “I think I might be back online tomorrow or something.” Sykkuno said his move went pretty well and he might be online tomorrow (probably the Raft stream Rae posted about) 🥺 pic.twitter.com/uzVIK6raCG — Sykkuno Clips 🌱 (@botkkuno) January 17, 2021 But it seems like it’s more than a mere possibility. Valkyrae announced that she’d be streaming Raft with some other big-name streamers, including Sykkuno. It’s exciting news since his fans didn’t expect him to be back so soon. “Raft with Jodi, Sykkuno, Toast, Abe, John, and Corpse [has] moved to tomorrow at 5 pm PST!” she wrote. “I’ll see ya then.” Of course, it doesn’t mean it’s one hundred percent locked in, but it’s about as official as it gets. Raft with jodi, sykkuno, toast, abe, John, corpse, toast was moved to tomorrow at 5pm pst! I’ll see ya then 😀 — RAE (@Valkyrae) January 16, 2021 Sykkuno’s fans can’t wait to see him back in action. Even though he shot to fame in the last quarter of 2020, he’s already become an integral part of the streaming community. It sounds a bit melodramatic, but his absence leaves a void, and it’ll be good to see him back where he belongs. It’ll be interesting to see what he says about his move, and how well he’s managed to settle into his new home.

Sykkuno addresses rumors Minx threw him in a pool at Streamer Awards afterparty – Dexerto
Sykkuno addresses rumors Minx threw him in a pool at Streamer Awards afterparty Instagram: sykkunoSykkuno has responded to rumors that streamer JustaMinx attempted to throw him in a pool during the Streamer Awards afterparty. The Streamer Awards took place over the weekend, recognizing the best and brightest of online entertainers in a grassroots event organized by Twitch streamer QTCinderella. While the show itself was a great success, the afterparty sparked some drama after streamer JustaMinx was allegedly escorted off the premises due to being drunk and disorderly. Attendees at the party claimed that Minx attempted to toss outdoor heaters, as well as other partygoers, into a pool at the venue — one of these being YouTube star Sykkuno. This rumor first arose during the Fear& podcast on Sunday, March 12, when Valkyrae claimed she’d heard that Minx had tried to throw Sykkuno in the drink. (Topic begins at 36:55) QTCinderella confirmed that Minx had been trying to toss people in the pool, although she did not mention Sykkuno’s name. Sykkuno debunks rumors that Minx tried to throw him in pool at afterparty Sykkuno himself responded to these claims a few days later, saying during a March 14 broadcast that Minx had never tried to throw him in the pool at the afterparty. “People were asking me, ‘Did she try to throw you in the pool and kill you?’ And I was like, ‘No. That didn’t happen to me.’” “I think there was like a weird telephone thing that happened, because this is my experience with the show. Basically, I was chilling by the pool with Connor, and Minx just wanted to go swimming. I think she just drank too much, probably. She said she wanted to go swimming. So me and Connor just grabbed her, and made her not jump in the pool.” “Maybe from far away, someone thought it looked like she was trying to get us in the pool. It just seemed to me like she drank a lot.” Minx has claimed that she suffered an epileptic seizure at the afterparty and was later treated at a hospital. She says that she is returning to her home in Ireland to receive medical treatment for her condition.

Sykkuno and Corpse Husband finally met in real life and the internet is going wild – Dexerto
Sykkuno and Corpse Husband finally met in real life and the internet is going wild Instagram: @sykkuwu / YouTube: Anthony PadillaTwitch star Sykkuno and music artist / influencer Corpse Husband have finally met in person — and the internet is extremely excited about the whole ordeal. It’s safe to say that Corpse Husband and Sykkuno are two of the internet’s most popular personalities right now. While both have been creating content for a while now, they exploded in popularity late last year, and have since become massive influencers in their own right. These creators are known for playing the famed ‘whodunnit’ style game Among Us, but that’s not all these influencers do — Corpse also boasts a fairly successful musical career, having just released a song alongside the one and only Machine Gun Kelly. Corpse Husband and Sykkuno have been online friends for quite some time, after first meeting in a game of Among Us nearly half a year ago. Since then, the two have interacted in online lobbies and other such collaborative projects — but they hadn’t actually met up in person until recently. On March 24, Corpse Husband uploaded a TikTok that showed himself grabbing some of his merchandise with one hand and gifting it to Sykkuno, who accepted the sweater with a smile that can only be described as adorably wholesome. Unsurprisingly, the internet has wasted no time in reacting to this long-awaited meeting, with even the likes of Twitch star Pokimane posting a humorous tweet about the situation. “Sykkuno wearing my merch while meeting Corpse and getting his merch,” she wrote, adding a few emojis for good measure. sykkuno wearing my merch while meeting corpse and getting his merch… — imane 💜 (@imane) March 24, 2021 Sykkuno himself has stated that he and Corpse are a popular duo among fans, claiming that they “just get along” really well during streams and have become fast friends. “We’re both really chill, but I think it’s just our voices or something,” he said in a past broadcast. “People just liked the combination, maybe. And then, we’ve just gotten along since then. He’s a really cool guy, he’s a caring guy, too.” While Corpse is known for being extremely private, it seems that he’s made somewhat of an exception for Sykkuno — and we’re here so for their friendship.

Sydney Sweeney spotted wearing engagement ring again amidst cheating rumors – Dexerto
Sydney Sweeney spotted wearing engagement ring again amidst cheating rumors Instagram: sydney_sweeneySydney Sweeney has put her engagement ring back on, defying rumors of a crumbling romance with fiancé Jonathan Davino. Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney found herself in the middle of a cheating scandal earlier this year while filming Anyone but You in Australia. Despite her engagement to restauranter Jonathan Davino, Sweeney was photographed getting a little too close to her costar, Glen Powell. However, it seems the internet may have jumped to conclusions about the engagement being called off. Sweeney has put the engagement ring back on, heading out for a date night in New York City with Davino. The news comes after Sweeney was seen on numerous occasions without the diamond bedazzling her finger. Rumors of a possible relationship between Sweeney and Powell first started after they were photographed packing on the PDA while filming on set. And when Powell’s then-girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed Sweeney, the internet went wild. “I mean she did play Cassie a little too well in Euphoria,” one person tweeted, referring to Sweeney’s role in the show as Cassie Howard. In the HBO show, Sweeney’s character gets involved with her best friend’s ex. Fans were quick to spot the poetic irony that Sweeney might be following suit. But with new photos emerging, it seems any romantic turmoil has now been put to rest. Sweeney and Davino looked comfortable in coordinated outfits as they took to the city, setting the record straight that their engagement is still on. When speaking to Cosmopolitan back in February, Sweeney said, “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest.” We wish the couple the best of luck moving forward and are excited to see Sweeney in Sony’s upcoming film, Madame Web if the latest rumors hold true.

The longevity of a TV show can be an odd thing, as the age of streaming means shows can appear and be forgotten instantly. HBO’s Euphoria continues to enjoy immense success and fans of the teen drama have been showing their praise through hilarious TikTok memes. Cast members Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow have shared their reactions to the growing collection of Euphoria-inspired TikTok jokes. Euphoria cast speak out about “insane” TikTok memes During an interview at the Euphoria FYC event, Maude Apatow was the first cast member to comment on the show’s popularity with TikTokers. “I’m on TikTok all the time. It’s crazy to see the reenactments” began Apatow. There are plenty of different memes to explore but Apatow says “the Euphoria High ones where people change into risqué outfits similar to the show’s high school students” seem to be her favorite so far. Apatow’s co-star Sydney Sweeney is aware of the TikTok memes too, saying: “I see them everywhere. It’s insane.” Many of the TikTok videos involve users parodying the show’s cast members, often re-creating fan-favorite scenes and playfully jesting at the show’s fashion choices. Sydney Sweeney responds to backlash over mother’s birthday photoshoot – Dexerto
Sydney Sweeney responds to backlash over mother’s birthday photoshoot HBOEuphoria star Sydney Sweeney has responded to the massive backlash and outpouring of memes after photos of her mother’s 60th birthday party went viral. Sydney Sweeney has obtained insane levels of popularity since taking on a leading role as Cassie in the hit HBO show Euphoria. Although she’s been enjoying the spotlight and boosting her modeling career as she recently was on the cover of Vogue magazine, not everything that comes with the spotlight has been entirely positive for her personal life. Sydney Sweeney responds to social media backlash On August 27, the 24-year-old posted a series of photos on Instagram of her family celebrating her mom’s 60th birthday. While the photos weren’t particularly special, many of her fans noticed the politically charged t-shirt her father was wearing in the birthday snaps. Upon further snooping, her brother Trent posted his own photos from the birthday scene which showed even more political apparel. What followed was an absolute deluge of memes and jokes across social media about the potentially political nature of the birthday shindig. Sydney said of the backlash, “You guys this is wild. An innocent celebration for my mom’s milestone 60th birthday has turned into an absurd political statement, which was not the intention. Please stop making assumptions. Much love to everyone, and Happy Birthday mom!” Clearly what was meant for an innocent birthday party took on its own life on the internet, and Sweeney was stunned by the amount of attention it got across social media.

Who is Sydney Redner on TikTok? Viral creator lives in Taylor Swift’s childhood home – Dexerto
Who is Sydney Redner on TikTok? Viral creator lives in Taylor Swift’s childhood home TikTok: taylorswift / sydthefreakinbidCreator Sydney Redner went viral on TikTok in 2020 after she revealed that she lived in Taylor Swift’s childhood home, but now it seems that the house is back on the market and being sold to someone new. TikTok is a place where fan communities thrive, and people are constantly sharing their best stories relating to their favorite star, sharing cool memorabilia, or discussing what made them become a fan in the first place. In 2020, one TikTok user challenged fans of Taylor Swift living in Berks County to share their weirdest connection to the popular singer. Sydney Redner had perhaps the craziest connection of all, revealing that she lived in the house that Taylor lived in for a period of time when she was younger. The five bedroom house in Reading Pennsylvania is believed to have been the inspiration for some of Swift’s most popular lyrics, and fans were stunned to see Sydney walk through the house, showing parts of both the interior and the exterior. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load “Why am I shocked. why did I forget someone else is allowed to live there and it isn’t a museum,” one comment with over 14,000 likes read. “You are the absolute luckiest person to walk this earth,” said another. Sydney even later revealed that “in the cement outside, there is an imprint that says ‘TAS,’” which are Tayler’s initials, and could very well have been left by the star herself. She also said: “We get a lot of fans taking pictures outside the house. I feel like there tends to be more around the holidays, when people are traveling from other states and want to see it.” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The video got over 800,000 views and 150,000 likes, and was hugely popular among the fan community on the app. However, the house recently went up for sale again with an asking price of a little under 1 million, and a sale now reportedly pending.

Sydney Sweeney claps back at woman claiming to have been her dietician for clout – Dexerto
Sydney Sweeney claps back at woman claiming to have been her dietician for clout Instagram: sydney_sweeney / X: luvu2golkaSydney Sweeney has hilariously called out a woman for incorrectly claiming to have been her dietician for five years. Since shooting to fame following her iconic role as Cassie in Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney has made a big impact on the movie industry. Recently starring in the rom-com Anyone But You, Sweeney is now appearing in theatres again, this time as Spider-Woman in Madame Web and in an upcoming horror, Immaculate. However, with fame comes those looking to benefit themselves through other’s success. One woman learned the hard way that Sweeney is not to be messed with after incorrectly claiming to have been her dietician for five years. A reel posted by the since-deleted Instagram account ‘colostrum.lover’ showed one woman hoping to make some extra business come through with the help of Sweeney’s notoriety. Text overlay on the reel read, “I was Sydney Sweeney’s dietican [sic] for five years, this is how I helped her get her dream role with five easy food swaps. She wouldn’t stop talking about the last one.” However, Sweeney proved she wasn’t one to let these things slide and certainly wasn’t going to let her name be used for clout. Commenting on the reel, Sweeney said, “I don’t know you and Kraft mac n cheese is for life.” Viewers praised the actress’s hilarious response and pointed out that the misspelling of ‘dietician’ should have been the first giveaway that something was amiss. Many also pointed out that in this day and era of technology, attempting to use celebrities’ names for clout isn’t the smartest move. “That’s so embarrassing, why would you so boldly lie about something so publicly,” one person wrote. Another said, “It’s funny cause people used to get away with this but celebs are online way too much now for it to work.” A third went on to offer some advice for those who may have fallen victim to colostrum.lover’s reel; “The diet industry often thrives on misinformation. It’s important for individuals to seek out evidence-based guidance on nutrition and health rather than quick fixes.”

Swiftie’s plan to “preserve” Eras Tour bag sabotaged by family repurposing it as a bin – Dexerto
Swiftie’s plan to “preserve” Eras Tour bag sabotaged by family repurposing it as a bin TikTok: nataliaamedia / Instagram: nataliaamediaA Taylor Swift fan found out the hard way that she can’t leave out any concert keepsakes she plans to “preserve” after her family repurposed an Eras Tour bag… as a bin. Taylor Swift’s sixth tour has been a raging success. Described as a journey through the singer’s various musical “eras”, it has been estimated that the Eras Tour will make approximately $2.2 billion in revenue. This would place it as the highest-grossing tour ever, surpassing Elton John’s previous record of $887 million. This shouldn’t come as a surprise for many, considering Swift has had the most number-one records in female artist history. She also has an incredibly loyal fan base, Swifties, who would do anything for a chance to see her live. Now, one of those fans has shared how her attempt to preserve an Eras Tour bag went terribly wrong after her family repurposed the keepsake as a bin bag. Natalia Ramirez, who goes by ‘nataliaamedia’ on TikTok, posted a clip of her Era Tour bag hooked over a cabinet handle in the kitchen. The bag was packed to the brim with emptied Modelo cans and plastic water bottles, evidently being used as a bin. Text written over the clip reads, “When you’re trying to preserve your Swiftie memories but your family is Hispanic.” Natalia, however, seemed to be taking things well and saw the humor in her family’s assumption the bag held no value. She captioned, “Please, the Modelo cans,” alongside a string of emojis and a Romanian declaration of love for the singer; “Te amamos [Taylor].” The clip has since gone viral on TikTok and currently nearing an impressive million views at the time of writing. Many Swifties jumped to the comments to share their own stories of family discarding concert “merch”, sympathizing with Natalia’s situation. “[Oh my God], my mom threw mine away! I was so upset!” one person commented. Another said, “This why I keep mine folded and hidden from my family.” It’s unclear whether Natalia plans to keep the bag after it serves its new purpose, though we’re hoping she finds herself a new one that hasn’t been used as a trash collector. Sydney May shuts down rumors that she broke up Addison Rae & Bryce Hall – Dexerto
Sydney May shuts down rumors that she broke up Addison Rae & Bryce Hall Instagram: sydneyvmay/Instagram: addisonrae/Instagram: brycehallAfter nearly a year of speculation, Sydney May Vezina has once again rebuked rumors that she was responsible for the breakdown of Bryce Hall’s and Addison Rae’s relationship. Sydney May is a rising star in influencer circles; with 2.1 million followers on the app, the 17-year-old is making a name for herself with her upbeat dance videos and relatable content. However, her rise to stardom has been plagued with rumors and internet trolling concerning her alleged role in the breakdown of Bryce Hall and Addison Rae’s relationship in January. Although it has been nearly eight months since Hall and Vezina were first linked, it seems like ‘Braddison’ shippers can’t get Vezina’s alleged involvement with Hall out of their head. When asked by a Hollywood Fix reporter about rumors that she was the cause of Bryce Hall and Addison Rae breaking up, Vezina responded that the accusation was “not true in any way whatsoever”. Expanding on her relationship with Bryce, Sydney May explains that he is “like a big brother” to her and that they were always just “really good friends”. What happened between Bryce Hall and Sydney May? During January this year, Sydney May set tongues wagging as she began to spend an increasing amount of time with TikTok superstar Bryce Hall, frequently appearing in his videos and hanging out with Hall and his friends. Why is Sydney hanging out with Bryce when he belongs to Addison? Nuh uh! I don’t like it. And yes I am invested in Tik Tok couples. Leave me alone. — bay 💫 (@xmermaidmama) January 9, 2020 This all snowballed when, simultaneous to cheating rumors surfacing about Hall, a photo was posted where Sydney May had her legs over his. Shortly after the photo was published, Addison Rae Tweeted saying that “all men are the same”, which many fans took to be a response to Vezina and Hall’s ‘relationship’. Sydney put his leg on that of bryce then he put it on his storie and addison reacted in twitter all the men are the same … what more do you want? — inees (@inasse49670114) April 10, 2020 This then led to a lot of online backlash for Sydney May, with ‘Braddison’ supporters sending threats, making comments and harassing her over her supposed role in Bryce and Addison’s breakup. The online bullying intensified to the point that Sydney posted a tearful video to her TikTok account in a bid to put an end to the trolling. Whilst things have certainly died down for her since January, it appears that the scrutiny around that picture hasn’t subsided entirely, which led to her explaining the full context surrounding the image to the Hollywood Fix reporter: “The photographer pulled me in and put me at the end of the couch,” she said. “If you look at the uncropped photo, you can see that both of the boys’ [Bryce and his friend’s] knees are touching. So I put my leg across one of Bryce’s legs and also all my friends.” While the drama surrounding Hall and Rae’s relationship will always be a mystery, it is safe to assume that Sydney May’s relationship with Hall is and always has been completely platonic. Since then, Bryce and Addison have seemingly continued an on-off relationship, only recently calling it quits.

SweetAnita jokes she will ‘copystrike’ streamer who ‘stole her tics’ – Dexerto
SweetAnita jokes she will ‘copystrike’ streamer who ‘stole her tics’ Sweet_Anita (Twitch)Popular streamer Sweet Anita joked that she’s going to ‘copy strike’ a fellow broadcaster after he, inadvertently, started to mimic her tics during streams because of Twitch chat. Since kicking off her streams in 2018, Sweet Anita has become one of Twitch’s most popular and loved streamers – with her Tourette’s tics leading to some pretty hilarious moments for both herself and her viewers. In her climb up Twitch’s popularity standing, the streamer has amassed over 750,000 followers, with thousands of fans tuning in to watching her regular broadcasts. Though, during her March 28 stream, Anita issued a pretty hilarious warning to anikichad – a fan of hers, who also has Tourette’s syndrome, and has turned to streaming. During her short Saturday morning stream, the new streamer had just crossed the year mark of being subbed to Anita when she took a moment to thank him and compliment his contributions to some of her previous broadcasts. “He is really charismatic and I think he’s going to go far because he’s started streaming and he’s doing really well, but unfortunately, he’s caught a few of my tics,” Anita said, before demonstrating which ones they were. “Quite often, people come into his chat and ask that question, and say why are you copying Anita’s tics. Well, fair play to you dude for sticking with it and preserving,” she added. Though, things took a pretty hilarious turn when the streamer came to the conclusion of her praise. “That said, those are my f**king tics and I am copy striking your VODs, you bitch,” she said, looking as stern-faced as possible. “You better take them the f**k down or give me the royalties, ok. I didn’t go through 30 years of these tics and this bulls**t just for you to steal my thunder, ok. Pay up! I’ll talk to you after the stream,” Anita concluded, all while hiding her laugh behind taking a sip of a drink. Of course, the streamer was only joking and the moment gave her fans a laugh – though, if you tuned in at the wrong time, you may have thought she was laying down the law. After all, Anita is supportive with other streamers and, like she did with Aniki, hypes them up every so often.

Sweetgreen customer throws salads on the ground in viral meltdown – Dexerto
Sweetgreen customer throws salads on the ground in viral meltdown SweetgreenAt a Sweetgreen in New York City, one customer’s tantrum resulted in the floor being covered in tossed salads. Public meltdowns aren’t exactly new or rare, but they have become more visible in recent years courtesy of social media. Just last month, for example, a first-class passenger was hauled off an American Airlines flight by police officers. One TikToker managed to capture the scene, which later garnered tons of views on TikTok and Reddit. Apparently, the passenger’s meltdown started when flight attendants refused to serve him alcohol before the plane took off. Now yet another person’s public temper tantrum is picking up steam on social media platforms. Sweetgreen customer throws salads around amid meltdown A Sweetgreen locale in New York City recently became the subject of a viral TikTok video because of chaos caused by one customer. TikTok user mayoketchup captured footage of the aftermath, their clip showing the restaurant’s floor littered with salads and upturned bowls. “So, I’m just minding my own business, and all of a sudden, this guy just comes into Sweetgreen and just starts grabbing and throwing every salad that he could find to the floor.” By the looks of it, no salad was left unturned. The TikTok user noted near the end of the clip that it’s unclear why the customer was angry or why they took said anger out on the sweet greens. Whatever the case may be, people commenting on the above video agree that the responsible party went too far. “That’s like $1,000 of damage from salads,” one TikToker wrote, ending their post with a crying emoji. Someone else said they finally understood their local Sweetgreen’s peculiar operations. “My Sweetgreen hides their pickup behind the counter. Now I know why…” Others wrote comments sympathizing with the restaurant employees who had to clean up the mess. “I feel so bad for the employees, especially with customers stomping over it more instead of trying to at least not make a bigger mess or something.” The TikToker captioned their post with “Sweetgreen madness.” It seemed to have been madness, indeed.

Sweet Anita’s Tourette’s tic awakens the rap god inside her – Dexerto
Sweet Anita’s Tourette’s tic awakens the rap god inside her Twitch streamer Sweet Anita dropped some impromptu fire rhymes during a December 21 broadcast that ended up catching everyone, including herself, off guard. After the streamer thanked a donor by the name of Michael Myers, not to be confused with the comedian or Halloween horror film antagonist of the same name, Anita whistled and let loose an impeccable rap. “By the way if you didn’t know, I have a d*ck,” the Twitch star began. “I have a fat f**king c*ck. Wow. It weighs me down, makes me frown. Makes my sh*t extra brown.” The fact the rhymes came seemingly out of nowhere made this extra special as Anita’s tics normally don’t flow together as well, but this one definitely had a bit of a story to it and dare we say, even some weight? Anita is no stranger referencing body parts or claiming to have a male member with her tics, but to imply that she not only has one, but it’s so large it weighs her down is just hilarious, and such a bizarre idea that when combined with rhymes, it’s incredible. Even the British streamer herself was impressed and couldn’t contain her hysterics as she was forced to laugh into her arm, barely able to contain herself. The aftermath of chuckles actually ended up lasting longer than the rap did. Anita dominated Twitch in 2019 and grew her channel to over 600,000 followers which is impressive considering she only started on the platform in April of 2018. As 2020 fast approaches, it will be fun to see how she can further grow as a streamer and an entertainer who has used her Tourette’s to her advantage to help provide some joy to her viewers.

Sweet Anita’s brutal tic “shades” Greekgodx at the perfect time – Dexerto
Sweet Anita’s brutal tic “shades” Greekgodx at the perfect time Sweet_Anita, Twitch / Greekgodx, TwitterTwitch star “Sweet Anita” is unlike other personalities on Twitch due to her acute Tourette’s syndrome, which interrupted an otherwise wholesome moment describing her friendship with fellow streamer Greekgodx. Sweet Anita is one of Twitch’s fastest rising stars, known for her supportive community, witty sense of humor, and efforts to educate viewers about the facts of Tourette’s syndrome. However, just as popular are the hilarious moments that arise from her condition, which often arise at untimely moments, sending certain streams and interactions completely off the rails. One such moment occurred during a January 30 broadcast, where she was asked about her opinion on Dimitri “Greekgodx” Antonatos, another popular Twitch star. While the two have become fast friends in recent days, Anita’s Tourette’s derailed her response to the curious viewer who’d made the inquiry, instead offering a hilariously-timed insult aimed at her fellow streamer. “Are you and Greek still friends?” she read aloud. “No! F**k him! F**k him! Wow! ‘Cause nobody else does!” Although the body language exhibited during her answer clearly defined the explosive response as a tic, she went on to clarify her true thoughts on their friendship, admitting that she does, in fact, value his companionship. “Yeah, I think he’s awesome,” she explained. “Yeah, why wouldn’t we be friends? What did he say?” This isn’t the first time Anita and Greek have interacted during live broadcasts, by far: Anita also received a generous Twitch host from Antonatos a few days prior, to which she had a similarly humorous reaction that caused her to hurriedly explain her condition to the horde of new viewers. Despite her Tourette’s syndrome, Anita is quite open about the matter, and often encourages viewers to laugh at funny moments and ask questions regarding her condition. To Anita, her Tourette’s isn’t something that holds her back on an otherwise tumultuous platform, claiming that she’s grateful to have such a platform to educate the masses about Tourette’s and the fearful stigma surrounding it — even in the face of past controversies.

Sweet Anita’s Tourette’s hilariously gives baby an unexpected name – Dexerto
Sweet Anita’s Tourette’s hilariously gives baby an unexpected name Sweet_Anita, Twitch / FreepikTwitch offers a variety of content for users to enjoy, from IRL streams to video games and more – but streamer “Sweet_Anita” stands out from the rest, providing hilarious moments thanks to her acute Tourette’s Syndrome. Sweet_Anita is relatively open about her condition, explaining how it affects her life and even the funny and awkward moments that have arisen from the syndrome for her audience. However, tics from her Tourette’s often arise during her live broadcasts in humorous ways – one of which occurred after a fan asked her a heartwarming question. Sweet_Anita is a popular streamer on Twitch, known for her humorous commentary and her acute Tourette’s Syndrome. Anita went live in a broadcast on September 18 when a fan announced that they are expecting a baby, asking the streamer for her opinions on a possible name for the child via a donation message. In a hilarious turn of events, the streamer experienced a tic just after reading the question aloud – giving an amusing answer in place of an appropriate name. “Sir C*ntsalot!” Anita answered. “Wow! Let me have a think – B*tch! Call it b*tch! …Felicity assmunch.” After the tic ran its course, Anita switched direction, claiming that she’d go with plant-based or animal names if she were in the donator’s shoes. “I like plant names a lot,” she continued. “I always thought if I had a kid I’d name them after a plant, like Rose or Ivy, Bracken, Hazel, Willow. I think if it was a boy, maybe animal names, like Robin or Marten. I don’t know why, I like Earthy names.” This wouldn’t be the first time a tic has interrupted Anita at a crucial moment on stream, either: she was in the middle of an Overwatch game during a broadcast in December 2018 when a fellow player asked why she was whistling – a common tic of hers. “Hello,” Anita answered, quickly followed by an unfortunate tic which caused her to say, “I’ve got a d*ck” – resulting in uproarious laughter from the other player. Sweet_Anita is a popular face on Twitch, boasting a dedicated community of followers thanks to her refreshing humor and openness about her Tourettes syndrome – as well as the funny moments that arise from it on stream.

Sweet Anita slams TikTok for taking down her videos over Tourettes tics – Dexerto
Sweet Anita slams TikTok for taking down her videos over Tourettes tics Twitter: Sweet AnitaSweet Anita has revealed she feels like she’s has been “singled out” by TikTok, with the social networking service continuing to take down her videos ‘due to tics’ despite not doing the same for other people with Tourettes. Sweet Anita has always been open about her condition. As a teenager, she experienced symptoms of Tourette’s syndrome and was formally diagnosed with a rare form of the neurodevelopmental disorder when she was 24-years-old. It causes her to involuntary swear, utter obscene words, and make socially inappropriate remarks, which has gotten her in trouble in the past despite having no control over them. Despite all that, she overcame the odds and has cemented her place as one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. However, she’s been having TikTok troubles: they keep taking down her videos. Considering the social media giants don’t appear to be doing the same to others with her condition, the Twitch star says it feels like she’s being “singled out.” “I don’t know what to do. TikTok allows other streamers with Tourettes to upload content, but it keeps taking mine down,” she said. “I can’t bleep out my tics without making the clips seem really confusing to the viewer, and I’m unsure why I have been singled out.” Read More: Sweet Anita blasts creepy Twitch viewers – Anita also mentioned that she appeals every time it happens, but since “all of the algorithms revolve around views in the first 24 hours,” it effectively “kills every upload,” even when she manages to reverse their decision. I appeal but all of the algorithm revolves around the views in the first 24 hours so it basically kills every upload even when I get the decision reversed. — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) May 11, 2021 Some fans assured her she wasn’t the only person with Tourette’s experiencing these issues with TikTok. They believe it has something to do with the moderation system, which could be attributed to either human error or a machine-learning algorithm. Either way, it doesn’t make the problem any less frustrating for Anita. TikTok has not commented on the issue, at least publicly.

Sweet Anita slams viewer for asking if she would “cure” her Tourettes – Dexerto
Sweet Anita slams viewer for asking if she would “cure” her Tourettes YouTube: Sweet AnitaTwitch streamer Sweet Anita has never shied away from her Tourettes, seeking to use her Internet popularity to educate people on the disorder – but has now slammed a viewer for asking if she would want to cure it. Due to her disorder, Anita has had to face some criticism and awkward moments online, be it from fans or people unaware of her condition. However, her viewers and even people new to her content manage to grasp quite quickly that she has Tourette’s, so for the most part conversations are fairly respectful. That isn’t always the case, though, and one viewer experienced some rare Anita anger after asking a question that she clearly considered disrespectful, and called them out on it. When someone donated and asked, “if doctors found a Tourette’s cure, would you do it?” Anita took the moment to question their intentions and ask why they thought that was an appropriate question. After a few moments of silence and pondering, Anita asked: “Do you wander into random disabled streamers’ chat and ask if they want to be cured? Do you walk up to people sitting in wheelchairs and ask if they wish they had legs? If they could reach as high as you can? Do you ever wish you were ‘just like me’?” She then delivered the final blow, simply saying “I’m gonna say this now, pal – I don’t wish I was like you. I’m cool with myself, I don’t see myself as broken and wish I was just like you because, let’s face it, you’re probably just as broken, just in a different way.” It’s not often you see Anita get genuinely annoyed at someone, but she clearly has the best intentions as she looks to educate her viewers on the difference between right and wrong when it comes to how to address people facing difficult issues, disabilities or disorders. In the past, Anita has come under fire for tics that cause her to say controversial things or phrases, with some even calling to have her banned from Twitch, but a representative of the streaming platform later came out to show support and solidarity with her and others like her, saying that they “have a home” at Twitch. Needless to say, that viewer will think twice next time he decides to ask a streamer a question, especially if it could be deemed insensitive.

Sweet Anita says there’s “no moving on” from deepfake damage after Atrioc drama – Dexerto
Sweet Anita says there’s “no moving on” from deepfake damage after Atrioc drama YouTube: ITV NewsProminent Twitch streamer ‘Sweet Anita’ says there’s “no moving on” from the damage caused by inappropriate deepfake materials of herself and other female broadcasters that came to light last month. In January, Twitch streamer ‘Atrioc’ accidentally showed a tab he’d opened on a website that sold inappropriate deepfakes of female streamers, including popular broadcaster Sweet Anita. The site was instantly noticed by viewers and a clip from his stream went viral on social media. Although Atrioc apologized for the incident and has stepped away from content creation for the time being, the ordeal sparked a wave of backlash against the website and those who consume such content, with streamer QTCinderella promising to sue the creator of the platform in a tearful livestream. However, there were also a significant portion of online users who mocked QT’s statement and even claimed to find the situation amusing, including names like Destiny and Ethan Klein (who later apologized for his reaction). Since then, the site has been taken down, but the streamers affected by it are continuing to speak out about the effects of non consensual materials that were peddled by the page — including Sweet Anita. Sweet Anita not angry with Atrioc over deepfake controversy She addressed the website in an interview with ITV News on February 13, saying that although she has no ill will toward Atrioc, she still wants those who consume such content to understand its impact on those whose images are being used without their permission. “None of the anger, none of the wanting to do anything about this is directed towards him [Atrioc],” she said. “It’s literally about wanting people who make this kind of content to A) not profit from it and B) be genuinely terrified to do it.” That being said, she’s well aware that the damage created by such a website will never go away. “Frankly, you can change the law, but the law won’t change anything until the culture does,” she continued. “Right now, resoundingly, we’re seeing that a lot of people don’t know what ‘consent’ means. And a lot of people feel entitled to anyone’s body on the internet.” “There isn’t any moving on from it. This is just out there, forever now. This is just an extra aspect that I will have to deal with.” Anita’s comments follow another statement made by QTCinderella about the situation, who says that her previous friendship with Atrioc is now “irreparable” after the incident.

Sweet Anita shares incredible words of wisdom about relationships – Dexerto
Sweet Anita shares incredible words of wisdom about relationships For many, watching Twitch streamers is an opportunity to forget about what’s going on in their own lives, but sometimes taking your issues to the creators you like proves to be incredibly rewarding, as Sweet Anita showed with some amazing advice about relationships. One of the things that makes Twitch different from any other platform is the ability to have a live connection with your favorite stars, who can chat and react to you in real-time. This often leads viewers to pose questions to streamers, and sometimes even ask for advice, as one such viewer did with Anita, who opened up about how important every relationship is, and how holding on to happy memories is important even if your time together wasn’t always great. While discussing breakups with her chat, Anita shared some incredible words of wisdom with her chat, telling her audience: “I’ve met a lot of people who I’ve loved and had to leave because they were cruel or unkind, and I’m still grateful for every experience I had with them.” “I’m really, really careful to remember the positive parts because humans distort their memories. Your memories will distort to justify your current feelings, and so you will rewrite whole chapters of your history to justify your sense of self.” “It’s a mechanism that all humans do,” she explained to her viewers. “The thing is, I spent years with these people and I made happy memories, and if I let my current feelings about them now taint those memories, I lose six, seven years of my life.” Twitch can often be a place for laughs and funny moments, but sometimes it does provide viewers with incredible advice and life lessons that they can take forward. Of course, this isn’t the first time Anita has given her audience some pearls of wisdom, previously sharing how she deals with grief in an amazing moment back in July.

Sweet Anita roasts “thirsty” viewer for bizarre pick-up line – Dexerto
Sweet Anita roasts “thirsty” viewer for bizarre pick-up line Popular Twitch streamer Sweet Anita ripped into one of her fanboys for sending an incredibly long message about a “heat-seeking missile” in his pants. Anita is known to have a large amount of infatuated fans desperate to find a way into her life aside from merely offering financial support through subscriptions, bits, and donations. While it’s not surprising some send her long messages asking her out, the content of said messages can be quite bizarre. On November 25, the English star was playing Apex Legends and explained to her viewers that being single and a streamer was very weird because of how many people send her thirsty messages. “They’re f*cking hilarious. They often send them to my business email and some of them are amazing,” she insisted. “I got this really long message from a guy who’s probably totally going to unsubscribe now that I’ve said this.” The 29-year-old went on to describe the contents of the message where he called her an “amazing and interesting person.” “I can tell you’re an intellectual like me; I’m also an intellectual and I’m also an amazing person. I think you and I should get together. I know that you probably get lots of messages like this and I know I probably don’t have a chance, but I have this heat-seeking missile in my pants that guides my actions,” the streamer laughed. “And I’m sorry to say I have to obey it.” Unfortunately for the viewers, Sweet Anita may as well have been playing Missile Command because she shot down the phallic reference with ease. “So, in the slightest off chance that this will get past whoever sorts through your emails for you, I thought that maybe you and I should go on a date,” Anita recalled the last portion of the message. “Good luck to you and your heat-seeking missile, buddy,” she fired back. “Today, it definitely missed.” While the message was quite funny, Anita has had unfortunate real life experiences with stalkers. Earlier in November, she revealed that she had a stalker who “spent hours” and even allegedly assaulted her before finally being detained by police. However, the individual was released with a “caution”, angering the normally easy-going entertainer. At least this thirsty fan stuck to awkward messages that can easily be deleted instead of hanging out at her house for hours.

Sweet Anita roasts viewer watching at work with well-timed tic – Dexerto
Sweet Anita roasts viewer watching at work with well-timed tic Twitch: Sweet Anita‘Sweet Anita’ has roasted a viewer who was supposedly watching her Twitch stream while they were supposed to be working, taking them down with a perfectly timed tic which likely shook the office walls. Sweet Anita’s meteoric rise through Twitch’s ranks has been nothing but extraordinary. She maintains one of the nicest communities on the platform, supporting her witty sense of humor and interesting stories. The streamer hasn’t just provided entertainment to thousands around the world, but also brought awareness to Tourette’s Syndrome, a neurological condition which brings on involuntary movements and speech called tics. Instead of shying away from her tics, Anita has embraced them, no matter how rude they can be. From roasting close friends like Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos to random viewers, the tics spare no victim. One such viewer played on this, asking Anita to keep it down while they were working. However, in true Anita fashion, a perfectly timed tic made sure that everyone in the office knew what they were doing. “Please not so loud, I’m watching you at work and I’m scared my boss will hear the stream,” Anita said, reading out the viewer’s message. As the tic came on, she raised her voice to full-on screaming, likely outing the viewer looking to enjoy her stream while on the clock. “Fire him,” she yelled. “He’s a little b*tch! He’s a little b*tch, he made my f*nny itch. Get him out, get him out!” She had a bit of a pause, holding her hand over her mouth in shock, but the reprise didn’t last long before another tic had the already-hurt viewer reeling once again. “Get out of my country, get out of my c*nt,” she added. She issued an apology a few seconds later, but once again, her involuntary tics had the last laugh. “Sorry guys — I’m not sorry,” she said, covering her mouth in a mix of laughter and shock. While the tic would have shocked the boss lingering around the viewer, it was just another hilarious moment for Anita and her Twitch chat. Every tic is a moment she can educate someone new about her condition, and while it might not be the most friendly introduction, it’s the one that has allowed her to climb to the top of Twitch and bring awareness to Tourette’s.

Sweet Anita roasts KSI and the Sidemen in IRL Tinder game – Dexerto
Sweet Anita roasts KSI and the Sidemen in IRL Tinder game Sidemen, YouTubeKSI and the Sidemen have returned with yet another IRL Tinder challenge — but this time, things took an unexpected turn after Twitch streaming star ‘Sweet_Anita’ joined in on the shenanigans. British YouTube group ‘The Sidemen’ and social media star KSI came together for yet another one of their IRL Tinder videos, which tasks the group with winning over a lucky lady using a pickup line of their choice. Of course, sometimes these pickup lines are better than others, and its up to the female contestant to sort out the trash from the treasure based on their methods of wooing her. These aren’t just any female contestants, either: the Sidemen collaborate with top female content creators for extra hilarity, making for a gut-busting show when they turn someone down. One of these internet stars was Twitch streamer Sweet Anita, who is known across the net for her good-natured sense of humor and acute Tourette’s syndrome. Her Tourette’s often makes itself the center of her broadcasts, and it was no different this time around, with the streamer’s condition popping off more than a few laugh-worthy quips in response to the Sidemen’s pickup lines. The hijinks began as Ethan used her Tourette’s in a cheeky pun — to which Anita’s syndrome replied, “Go suck a d**k.” While Ethan surprisingly got a “yes,” Calum’s suggestion of letting Anita’s next tic decide their evening plans awarded him an immediate “no,” drawing a roar of laughter from the group. However, that wasn’t the most hilarious moment of the video: Vik’s decision to plug Sidemen merchandise caused Anita’s tic to shout, “What a sellout!” leaving KSI beside himself as the group broke out into giggles. KSI himself suffered an even funnier insult from Anita’s tic, after approaching her with a highly explicit pickup line. “Alright, no,” she replied before her tic took over. “Get out! What a slut! Bend over!” (Segment begins at 45:30 for mobile readers) Sweet Anita uses her platform on Twitch to educate her viewers about the struggles of life with Tourette’s Syndrome — and while she’s suffered some backlash for her condition in the past, the streamer always invites her audience to find the humor in the awkward moments that arise from her verbal tics.

Sweet Anita reveals she was robbed & stranded with credit cards and more stolen – Dexerto
Sweet Anita reveals she was robbed & stranded with credit cards and more stolen Twitch: Sweet_AnitaTwitch sensation Sweet Anita has revealed that she was robbed and stranded in London during an incident on the train. Sweet Anita has become one of Twitch’s most famous faces, but equally has admitted that her life is anything but rosy. From discussing her struggles with being sexualized by her fanbase, to revealing the “hell” that she endured while working for Activision Blizzard, her honesty is what has built her extensive community into what it is today. In yet another unfortunate turn of events, the UK-based star has told how she was robbed and left stranded during a London trip, which led to her having to approach strangers. Sweet Anita robbed & stranded in London In an incident discussed on her August 3 stream, Anita explains that she was robbed while taking the train from London to view a new home, and was subsequently left stranded. “This guy bumped into me, like a bit weirdly. Like face on face, I think I felt one of his teeth” she recalls. “Five seconds later we had to get off the train and I go to look at my ticket to find out what platform I’m on next, and it’s gone.” “After that I had no ticket, and I had to go and approach loads of strangers who didn’t know me, firstly in London, then across the country, along a four-hour journey with many changes, to explain someone took my wallet and that I don’t have a ticket, but I need to get home and I can’t.” She goes on to explain “the reason I couldn’t use my phone,” was due to her friend switching charger wires accidentally. “I was getting ding, ding, ding, from someone immediately spending s**t on my card. “They bought Amazon Movies, they bought food, they tried every single card to see if they had money on them. Incidentally, my bank didn’t let me close my credit card, so they’re still spending that. I have tried to tell them, but they’re ignoring me,” she states. It’s unclear what the current status of her situation is, but banking protections, especially on credit cards, should hopefully ensure that money stolen is returned to her.

Sweet Anita reveals the hardships of streaming on Twitch with Tourettes – Dexerto
Sweet Anita reveals the hardships of streaming on Twitch with Tourettes Twitch streamer ‘Sweet Anita’ is different from many other broadcasters on the platform, thanks to her acute Tourette’s syndrome – which has placed her at the forefront of online backlash. While Anita’s Tourette’s syndrome is fairly volatile, the streamer is known for her hilarious antics and good humor, and even boasts one of the most supportive communities on Twitch. However, her generally positive reputation was called into question by internet critics after the streamer blurted out a racial slur – an unintentional phrase that came as the result of a tic, due to her Tourette’s. Not for the first time, Anita addressed the racial slur and her condition in a series of Tweets on December 12. She’s apparently lost 1,000 subscribers since this issue took center stage, and is even afraid to phone her own father due to fear of the tic being triggered. “I don’t know how people can think I fake this for personal gain,” Anita wrote. “My dad is black, he keeps ringing me and I can’t imagine picking up the phone in case I tic something racial at him. I dropped nearly 1,000 subscribers after that tic went viral, and now it won’t, due to the stress.” I don’t know how people can think I fake this for personal gain. My dad is black, he keeps ringing me and I can’t imagine picking up the phone in case I tic something racial at him. I dropped nearly 1000 subscribers after that tic went viral and now it won’t due to the stress. — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) December 12, 2019 That’s not all: the tweets also revealed that she had even been kicked out of a shop due to her condition that same day, and returned home to view hateful comments about her Tourette’s online. “I was removed from a shop today for shouting it, and now I have to go further to get things for my mum, who is disabled,” she continued. “And I come home to read all of these comments.” It has not been an easy past few weeks for Anita, who saw her unintentional racial outburst spawn a wave of outrage across the streaming community. Some, like Twitch star Summit1G’s girlfriend “lilchiipmunk,” have called for her to be banned for the incident. While both Summit and his girlfriend have since apologized, others online have not been so kind, with a clip from her broadcast going viral on sites like the infamous WorldStarHipHop. Anita has addressed the backlash previously, but her latest Tweets reveal just how difficult life can be with Tourrette’s – especially given the cold and unforgiving nature of internet culture when one’s life is broadcast online.

Sweet Anita reveals disturbing details after alleged stalker detained – Dexerto
Sweet Anita reveals disturbing details after alleged stalker detained Popular Twitch streamer Sweet Anita was relieved to hear that police caught a stalker who was allegedly harassing her in real life. Anita is well-known for her tourettes-induced on-stream antics which make for some of the best entertainment on Twitch. In addition to her inappropriately foul-mouth streams, she also has the occasional “deep moment” filled with philosophical insight. While her time on Twitch has been mostly positive, her fame has caused her to be the target of stalkers not just online, but offline too. On November 7, the entertainer tweeted that police caught and detained an alleged stalker and she would be canceling her planned broadcast because would be at the station all night to provide a statement and evidence. When a fan asked if this was an online stalker, the UK-based streamer provided some insight into what she had been dealing with. The police have caught and detained my stalker, so I’m having to cancel tonight’s stream. I’ll be in the station all night giving a statement and evidence, but hopefully I’ll finally be safe and able to stream by sunday at 8PM GMT — Sweet Anita (@Tweet4nita) November 7, 2019 The streamer stressed that while she has had a number of online stalkers, this one harassed her in real life for a month. According to Anita, the unnamed individual spent hours outside her house and even slept behind it. What’s worse, she said he even managed to assault her, though she didn’t elaborate on how. Sadly I have had a fair amount of online stalkers. But this one was IRL, he spent hours outside my house, he even slept behind my house, and managed to assault me. I’ve been harassed for a month now and I’m relieved that something might be done about it. — Sweet Anita (@Tweet4nita) November 7, 2019 After all the real-world drama, the Twitch star said that she was relieved something may finally be done about this individual. Since joining Twitch in April of 2018, Sweet Anita skyrocketed to over 500,000 followers. According to the third-party stat-tracking website TwitchMetrics, she has the 24th most-watched English Just Chatting channel on the platform. 600Anita isn’t the first female Twitch star to claim they’ve been stalked. In October, STPeach confronted one of her viewers who had allegedly leaked her info and threatened her family. In the wake of her “cat tossing” scandal, Canadian streamer Alinity Divine said people asked her neighbors where she was and even followed her back to her house when she was out walking her dog. Hopefully, with this recent development, Anita can live in peace and not have to look over her shoulder.

Sweet Anita reveals harassment “hell” she endured in game design amid Blizzard controversy – Dexerto
Sweet Anita reveals harassment “hell” she endured in game design amid Blizzard controversy Twitter/sweetanitaTwitch streamer Sweet Anita has detailed her extremely disturbing time as a game design student, as Blizzard Entertainment finds itself in the midst of a lawsuit over a hostile workplace culture. Anita has been one of the more vocal streamers when it comes to describing the abuse she has suffered, such as with previous stalking instances. Now, she has revealed some shocking details about her time as a student. According to Anita, when she was studying, she attempted to get a degree in game design and found herself as the only female in a class of 40 boys. This ended up resulting in a nightmarish situation where she was sexually harassed by those in her class. (Warning: disturbing content) Anita opens up on her abuse in game design “They stared, they took bets behind my back on who would sleep with me first,” she revealed. “They would pretend to hump me behind my back and two kindly offered to teach me what a ‘spitroasting’ was.” When I was a student I tried to do a degree in games design, I was the only girl among 40 boys. Despite once again being in an all-boys class, the situation was much different. “They all treated me with respect. I dodged a bullet. I knew at the time I never wanted to graduate and work with these men, I didn’t want my life to look like this,” the Twitch star explained. Sweet Anita responds to calls to ban her over Tourette’s outburst – Dexerto
Sweet Anita responds to calls to ban her over Tourette’s outburst Twitch streamer Sweet Anita has responded after some have called for her to be banned following offensive outbursts caused by her Tourette’s. Sweet Anita is a Twitch streamer who suffers from Tourette’s syndrome, a condition that causes one to make involuntary sounds and/or movements called tics. In some cases, these tics can come in the form of controversial, rude or taboo comments, but is something those affected have no control over. In her time on Twitch, Anita has built an audience of over half a million followers, as well as 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. This is all in spite, or perhaps partly thanks to, her Tourette’s, unashamedly embracing her tics, rather than trying to suppress them. Naturally, her condition can sometimes cause issues when she accidentally uses expletivs or says something offensive, as was the case after an outburst on stream on December 9. While explaining how great it must be “to choose to be socially appropriate and considerate and not just say the weirdest, most awful sh*t ever,” Anita had a tic causing her to say “kill the Jews,” before looking absolutely devastated. She turned her stream off shortly after, but the clip was widely shared on social media, sparking controversy. Twitch partner Lil Chipmunk came out in a now-deleted tweet asking “How’s this allowed? I don’t care if she has Tourettes she must have some way to mute herself?” The tweet was deleted, but Lil Chipmunk also responded to the original tweet containing the clip saying “Sounds like she just wanted to get that out.” Anita hasn’t responded directly to Chipmunk’s post, but did address some of the backlash to these types of incidents, where her tics can result in highly offensive remarks, such as when she used a racial slur. “I read the comments section. There were a lot of people who were really angry or thought I should be banned,” Anita explained, “a lot of people think the N-word is in your vocabulary so you must be racist.” She continued: “The N-word is on everyone’s vocabulary. We all know what it is and that it’s a word, and so does my Tourette’s. That doesn’t mean it’s something I believe or feel about anyone.” Anita went on to explain that it’s hard when people just don’t understand Tourette’s, but rather than fixate on the negatives she would rather look at the positives, such as the commenters who explain to others what Tourette’s is and why she can’t help it. Fellow streamer Anikichad, who also has Tourette’s, addressed Anita’s “N-word tic”, saying “In my interactions with Anita, she has been nothing but nice, kind, supportive… She’s a true friend, and I don’t want anyone thinking she’s actually racist.” Twitch’s community guidelines have strict rules around what it calls ‘hateful conduct’, but Sweet Anita has not faced any official sanctions from the platform. In enforcing the rules, Twitch moderation teams claim to always take context into account, and, given her condition, Sweet Anita’s remarks have been ruled not to violate these guidelines.

Sweet Anita: How I accidentally became Twitch famous – Dexerto
Sweet Anita: How I accidentally became Twitch famous Twitch: Sweet AnitaSweet Anita rehabilitates animals and cares for her mother in the real world, but boasts a hugely original presence on Twitch. Known for her witty sense of humor, incredibly supportive community, and coprolalia, a severe symptom of Tourette’s Syndrome, Anita’s rise as a Twitch star was purely accidental. Now, her unpredictable streams have led to 1.2 million followers on Twitch and over 31,000 in her Discord server. Here, Anita describes the path that’s led her to this point and how she hopes to continue educating, inspiring, and using philanthropy to help others. Starting out streaming In the beginning, I just used to get drunk and play Overwatch. I loved it, because with push-to-talk, people met me before my condition, so I basically ended up in a position where people didn’t see me as a party trick or a quirk. All of those very strong reactions to my condition were just gone. I gained a lot of confidence from being valued beyond that particular aspect of me, because people tend to really focus on it a lot. I ended up filling my entire Blizzard account. I had over 200 friends, and they didn’t all fit in a game of Overwatch. In order to hang out with them too, I started streaming. I found out about streaming because I bumped into a streamer online. I just started chatting to him during one of our Overwatch games, and he said, ‘Just so you know, I am streaming.’ I found his chat, and they were like, ‘She is either a streamer, a voice actor or a soundboard, and we are gonna find out.’ And they were Googling me. They were going full-on Twitch detective on me! I thought, well, if I can pass for any of these three things effortlessly, why not? Let’s go. And now, I’m all three. On becoming Twitch famous I started to stream, and I thought, “Well, I’m scuffed. I don’t understand anything about what makes a cool Twitch stream. I don’t understand why people watch the biggest streamers on this platform. What’s cool about them?” I knew nothing. I sent out a link to all of my friends, but I didn’t expect it to last long. I can’t follow TOS perfectly because of my tics. That’s when a lot of my friends discovered that I had Tourette’s, because I was not tech-savvy enough to put PTT on stream then. I just had no idea. So, I thought, “Well, this is fun, until I get found out.” But I did get found out — and I got a lot of attention. It just exploded out of nowhere. Kotaku did an article about me, PewDiePie put me in a video, the tech review guy did a video about me. A load of articles happened, and in four months, I went from 20 average viewers to 15,000 average viewers at one point. It got pretty crazy, and it got out of hand. From there, I’ve just adapted and settled into it. Honestly, I figured everyone would just get bored of me. I thought, “Ah, people are just curious about my condition. You know, shouting the word ‘f**k’ every now and again is only going to be entertaining for so long. So, they’re here for now and things will go back to just me and my twenty friends soon enough.” But they’re still here. Rejecting the role-model stereotype I have a large platform now, but I’m not trying to be an example of how you should be or what you should aspire to, because that’s limiting. I don’t even let kids watch my stream (which is 18 plus), because the minute you become a role model, people can find you and go, “You can’t do this, you’re a role model!” So, I’ve just been like, “Come, and hang out if you want to, but don’t expect a thing.” I find it terrifying when people put me up on a pedestal. However, I still do care about using my platform to educate about Tourettes and helping with others’ mental wellbeing after I got the therapy I needed to have a real life. I couldn’t afford therapy at the time. There was a charity that contributed and helped top up my payments. I walked away thinking that if I ever have money, I’m gonna pay it forward, and I’m gonna contribute to that charity. Unfortunately, this charity no longer exists, but we set up an account that I deposit a set amount of money into every month, which allows [my therapist] to help people in the community that normally wouldn’t be able to get the assistance they need. Streamin’ ain’t easy Not everything about streaming is hunky-dory, though. With streaming, a big disadvantage as a woman is that you have a mostly male viewerbase, since nearly 80% of Twitch is made up of male users. Nobody raises their little boys to dress up as Princess Leia or idolize women and put themselves in our shoes. So, when they admire us, they tend to convert it into lust, and they tend to want to desire us and possess us. They can either fancy you or ignore you. At the extreme, that fancying turns into lust and into an unhealthy obsession. That’s why numerous female streamers and influencers, including myself, have had disturbing experiences with stalkers. I’ve already discussed this issue at length and no longer want to allow it to hijack my content. So I’m moving on, but have fortunately been able to begin working with a Member of Parliament to potentially change UK stalking laws. If anything happens to me, I really hope that I’m the last canary in the coal mine. The law needs to change, No job should have such a high risk of rape, assault or death, especially not live streaming. — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) July 14, 2020 I can’t, however, avoid the horniness of chat when I broadcast. It’s an inevitability. There are a lot of people that are very socially isolated, and Twitch is a symptom of loneliness. It’s an industry that helps people feel less lonely. You develop a connection with streamers. That’s what it’s about. The way I deal with it is as with any inevitability in my life: I am given a lot of energy and attention, and that is a tool. I choose what I build with it. So, every situation — when people laugh at you, when people hate you, when people love you — it’s all a tool you get to use to build. If people waste their time and energy on hate, it doesn’t mean you have to waste that energy. You can use it. When people are a bit clueless and fumbly, and they come onto me in inappropriate ways, I use it to make jokes and to educate people about sex education, to break down stereotypes. I slip punchlines and little surreptitious comments that help people grow and connect better, to empathize with my position whilst laughing. Even past these hardships, the job contains additional stressors. It’s lonely. You can’t make friends. People will try to get close to you for clout, to try to exploit you. People will become dangerous and become stalkers. There’s very little time to meet people outside of streaming. It’s really difficult to connect to people in a real sense; it’s dangerous to. There’s so much to it, and it’s emotionally taxing. There’s very little time to do anything else. A lot of streamers don’t see this until it’s too late. What’s next for Anita? There’s a lot on my plate and I do sometimes feel stretched thin — but it’s worth being exhausted from time to time to do the things that make you happy to be alive. I do have quite a lot lined up for the future, some of which includes having a much bigger impact when I get back out into the world. I want to show people they can do anything and teach them how to be confident even if it’s scary. On the outlook, you might think I’m quite inhibited by my condition, and I want to show people how to navigate tricky situations. If you’ve followed me for any amount of time in public, you know I have to deal with that a lot. I want to show people how to make a difference even when you’ve got an obstacle, and that’s probably what the next step in my content will be. Making a difference With Tourette’s, everything is on hard mode, and you don’t really see what it means to have this condition until it’s humanized. I think people see it as an oddity. Some people fetishize it. It’s kind of impossible to understand until you see what it is to live with it rather than how you get diagnosed with it or a description of it. I think it helps people to understand, and that’s cool. The more people who can identify it and understand it, the safer people like me are in public. Things are getting better. Every chance I get to help people understand my condition, I get to be a part of making the world a safer place for people like me. It’s a privilege, it’s an exhausting privilege, but it’s privilege all the same.

Sweet Anita outraged after stalker released by police – Dexerto
Sweet Anita outraged after stalker released by police Twitch personality “Sweet Anita” boasts a dedicated fanbase thanks to her witty humor, easygoing personality, and acute Tourette Syndrome – but one of her fans is taking their enthusiasm too far. While many internet stars receive their fair share of online harassment, Anita revealed that she’s been dealing with a stalker in the real world, as told in a Tweet on November 7. According to Anita, her stalker had “spent hours” outside of her home, slept behind her property, and had even assaulted her, allegedly harassing her for over a month before being detained by local law enforcement. The police have caught and detained my stalker, so I’m having to cancel tonight’s stream. I’ll be in the station all night giving a statement and evidence, but hopefully I’ll finally be safe and able to stream by sunday at 8PM GMT — Sweet Anita (@Tweet4nita) November 7, 2019 Sadly I have had a fair amount of online stalkers. But this one was IRL, he spent hours outside my house, he even slept behind my house, and managed to assault me. I’ve been harassed for a month now and I’m relieved that something might be done about it. — Sweet Anita (@Tweet4nita) November 7, 2019 However, it doesn’t look like the offender will remain in police custody, nor even receive a proper punishment, as the streamer told in a series of outraged Tweets the very next day. Despite his abhorrent behavior, Anita claimed that her stalker was released with naught but a “caution” – a disturbing development, considering that he’s reportedly moved within a four-minute distance of her home. 600https://twitter.com/Tweet4nita/status/1177830355451224064?s=20“The stalker was caught and detained last night,” Anita wrote. “He had a knife on him. After taking my screenshots, recordings, a witness statement of the assault from me and a friend, AND having his confession to harassing me, he’s been released with a caution.” The streaming star went on to express exasperation with the police’s response to the matter, writing, “I’m very used to the lack of protection from the police at this point. I guess I’ll have to get used to seeing him around, too.” He has also gone from planning a short visit my town, to moving to a place 4 minutes from me permanently. I’m very used to the lack of protection from the police at this point, I guess I’ll have to get used to seeing him around too. — Sweet Anita (@Tweet4nita) November 8, 2019 Needless to say, Anita’s fanbase is wracked with worry over the ordeal, urging the broadcaster to make a bigger stink out of the matter for her own safety. “You actually need to blow this up, out of proportion, make it huge,” one fan replied. “…if someone is honestly stalking you and showing signs of being harmful, you’re in danger, too. Many [times] these things are left alone, and someone gets hurt.” You actually need to blow this up, out of proportion, make it huge, go to everyone, every media you can think of, if someone is honestly stalking you and showing signs of being harmful you’re in danger, too many these things are left alone, and someone gets hurt. Stay safe :purple_heart: — eire:four_leaf_clover: (@eireBTW) November 8, 2019 “It’s so bizarre how little concern there is for circumstances such as this,” another Tweeted. “…At the very least, you should seek a restraining order.” It’s so bizarre how little concern there is for circumstances such as this. To be fair it’s hard to concretely establish a crime, but we have to figure out something we can do. At the very least you should seek a restraining order. — Kind of Annoying Guy (@Cataphract) November 8, 2019 Anita has yet to speak further about the incident at the time of writing this article, but fans are hopeful that the situation will be properly resolved sooner rather than later.

Sweet Anita grateful for Twitch support after Tourette’s controversy – Dexerto
Sweet Anita grateful for Twitch support after Tourette’s controversy Streaming personality Sweet Anita thanked Twitch after the streaming platform came out in firm support for her and others with Tourette’s syndrome, stating they “have a home” with the Amazon-owned company. –Sweet Anita is one of the most popular Twitch streamers of the last few months, as she’s made a name for herself on the platform with her Just Chatting broadcasts, as well as educating people on Tourette’s syndrome. However, after there was calls to ban her for her uncontrollable tics, the streamer was grateful when the streaming company announced that they were supporting her and anyone else with the medical condition. Twitch gives support to Sweet Anita The streamer was embroiled in controversy on December 10, 2019 when fellow Twitch personality ‘lilchiipmunk’ reacted to a clip of one of her vocal tics, and said that she should she banned. She quickly issued an apology to Anita, who accepted stating, “I have grown quite used to people getting mad at my tics, so no harm done,” before releasing a YouTube video that educated viewers on what her condition entails. Dale Cruse, the Principal Program Manager for Accessibility & Inclusive Design for Twitch, spoke out about the issue on Twitter January 8 with a tweet that read: “Streamers with Tourette’s syndrome have a home at Twitch. You are welcome here.” https://twitter.com/DaleCruse/status/1214983415075786752 The streamer saw the tweet in support for her and others with the condition, and was grateful, stating that it’s helping people. “Thank you Twitch for supporting people with Tourette’s. It’s not easy with coprolalia to work, support yourself, or connect with people,” she wrote, thanking the company. Anita then explained that by people giving acceptance to those with the condition, it allows them to have a place to grow. “Your acceptance and support is giving us a place in gaming, and a chance to break barriers,” she said. Despite the backlash that she had received back in 2019, the whole incident has resulted in more people becoming aware of Tourette’s, and hopefully will lead to more acceptance – especially with Twitch giving her support. Sweet Anita “helpless” after alerting police to stalker’s death threats – Dexerto
Sweet Anita “helpless” after alerting police to stalker’s death threats Sweet_Anita, Twitch[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV]Twitch star ‘Sweet Anita’ knows firsthand the risks that come with being a popular influencer, having opened up to fans about a long-term stalker that has repeatedly threatened her safety — but now, she’s been met with an apparent death threat from the same person. Sweet Anita is a well-known face on Twitch, carving out a unique community for herself due to her witty sense of humor and the hilarious hijinks that arise from her acute Tourrette’s Syndrome — a condition she also educates her fans about using her sizable social media presence. However, being a top streamer is not without its demerits, as Anita has admitted that she has dealt with a long-term stalker over the past several months. According to Anita, the stalker moved to her city and even slept outside of her home, prompting the streamer to reach out to law enforcement to deal with the issue. He has also gone from planning a short visit my town, to moving to a place 4 minutes from me permanently. I’m very used to the lack of protection from the police at this point, I guess I’ll have to get used to seeing him around too. — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) November 8, 2019 However, things escalated after the stalker followed Anita into a shop, who then chased her. Luckily, the perpetrator was detained by two shopkeepers who were able to diffuse the situation — but even after taking their statements and finding a knife on the man, police released him with a mere “caution.” Months later, Anita has revealed a screenshotted comment written by the very same stalker in her Twitch chat, which appears to be a pointed death threat against her. “I’ll kill you soon,” the stalker wrote, as shared by Anita with a screenshot of the message. “Not with the cheap kitchen knife I had last time. No, I’m gonna bring out something special for you.” He stated this publicly last stream. Last time he left messages like this he sat outside my house waiting for me to come out all day, then followed me to a shop. When I asked if he was armed he silently smirked and then chased me. Two men had to grab him so that I could escape. pic.twitter.com/AK8HZpJoTs — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) July 14, 2020 The streamer took to Twitter to document the disturbing threat, and even left a concerning message of her own in regards to the ongoing situation. “If anything happens to me, I really hope that I’m the last canary in the coal mine,” she wrote. “The law needs to change, No job should have such a high risk of rape, assault or death, especially not live streaming.” If anything happens to me, I really hope that I’m the last canary in the coal mine. Sweet Anita explains why dating “simps” can be “toxic” – Dexerto
Sweet Anita explains why dating “simps” can be “toxic” Sweet Anita, YouTubeSweet Anita is a popular Twitch streamer, best known for her supportive community and acute Tourette’s Syndrome, who used her platform to share a grain of wisdom about so-called “simps” in the online world. Thanks to her unexpected verbal tics and hilarious sense of humor, Anita has garnered an audience of over 700k follwers on Twitch, using her broadcasts to educate viewers about her condition — as well as the interesting characters she’s encountered during her time as a top streamer. In a YouTube video uploaded on March 26, Anita admitted that she’s dated some “simps” in the past, which she described as socially awkward people who are “desperate” for romantic attention and “obsessed” with the object of their affections. “They’re the kind of person who sells all their stuff so they can donate thousands of pounds to their favorite e-girl and then they live off noodles for the rest of the month,” she jokingly explained. However, she clarified that getting involved with these types (in spite of their constant gifts and compliments) can be “toxic,” as evidenced by a few stories she told from her own experiences with “simps.” In one story, she revealed how her male roommate would go above and beyond to do small favors for her — which later caused him to throw “temper tantrums” when she didn’t return his affections, despite Anita asking him to stop cooking her food and buying her chocolates. “If a friend cooks you a meal, it’s awesome, and you eat the meal together,” she continued. “If a simp cooks you a meal, you feel this heavy weight, this heavy burden of pressure and expectations, like, ‘You like me now, right?’” That wasn’t the worst of it; Anita later discovered deleted photos of herself and her ex-boyfriend on her roommates’ computer while borrowing it, which he’d cropped her ex out of, and he even threatened to “make her homeless” if she chose to start dating again. Despite asking him to distance himself and clarifying that she wasn’t interested in a relationship with him, her roommate felt he’d been “used” — behavior that Anita warned against during her stream. “It’s usually one-sided,” she clarified. “And no matter how obvious it is that they’re not interested in you, you keep trying and keep holding out hope… these sorts of behaviors can drive your friends away.” With the term “simp” growing ever-more prevalent in the online world, Anita’s stories come at a perfect time, with many female content creators sharing their own experiences with overly-enthusiastic male fans.

Sweet Anita explains why she’s “paying forward” generous Twitch donation – Dexerto
Sweet Anita explains why she’s “paying forward” generous Twitch donation Twitch: Sweet_AnitaPopular Twitch streamer Sweet Anita has explained why she is matching a generous donation made by a close friend to her in aid of charity, explaining that she plans to “pay it forward” to help others. Sweet Anita became a Twitch sensation throughout 2019, a streamer with Tourette’s Syndrome whose broadcasts are often filled with positivity and laughs while she plays games or just chats with her audience. Her content has seen her grow a large and caring community, as demonstrated on January 20 when a viewer made a large donation to the streamer, asking her to give it to a charity of her choice. While the Brit was blown away at the time, she has since used social media to expand on her plans, revealing that she intends to add her own money to the donation and give it to a cause that is close to her heart. During her morning stream, Anita received £305.81 from a donator named “addieleaf,” who explained that her community wanted to send the streamer the money to give to a charity of her choice, in the hopes of having a 2020 filled with “love and kindness.” At the end of her stream, Anita used her Twitter account to reveal what she planned to do with the money, explaining that she would double it with her own money and give it to her therapist, in the hopes of allowing someone who needed help to receive the treatment they need that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. “After much thought, I’m matching this donation from a close friend and giving it to my therapist,” she wrote. “I stopped needing therapy years ago, but it gave me back my life. Now I’m paying it forward so that hopefully someone else can get help they wouldn’t normally have access to.” After much thought, I’m matching this donation from a close friend and giving it to my therapist. Moments like this are an incredible reminder of the power of a group of people pulling in the same direction, and their decision will be of great help to someone who really needs it.

Sweet Anita explains how Twitch streaming has changed her life – Dexerto
Sweet Anita explains how Twitch streaming has changed her life Twitch: Sweet_Anita / TwitchTaking the time to give thanks to her many viewers throughout a recent post, Sweet Anita explained how live streaming on Twitch has been a truly life-changing experience. While Anita is often the source of many viral moments due to her Tourrette’s, she’s never one to shy away from being honest about the condition and trying to change the perspective of new viewers. Broadcasting her life for the world to see certainly comes with its own unique hardships, but taking the bad with the good, Anita has explained how Twitch streaming has been life-changing for not only herself, but many of her viewers all over the globe. Offering some unique insight into her constant battle, the streamer revealed a number of benefits that come from exposing the condition and sharing in such a personal way on a platform like Twitch. Throughout a January 23 statement, Anita addressed that while some might consider her stream exhausting due to repetitively having to explain Tourrette’s, she would be in a similar position no matter what vocation she gravitated towards. “I’d be explaining Tourrette’s no matter what job I did. Every time I get on a train or in a taxi I have to. At least on Twitch I get to open thousands of people’s minds.” People always ask me if I get frustrated having to explain my self all the time. But honestly I’d be explaining Tourrette’s no matter what job I did. Every time I get on a train or in a taxi I have to. At least on Twitch I get to open thousands of people’s minds. (pt1) — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) January 22, 2020 With over 640,000 followers on the streaming platform and just under 100,000 on her personal Twitter account, Anita has certainly made an impact and opened many eyes. Rather than backing down under pressure and calls for her Twitch account to be banned, the streamer is always quick to outline how she is helping the greater community behind her. “Thanks to Twitch I get to make the content I needed back when I was young,” she explained. “When you support me, you are showing people who face challenges like mine that we have a place in the world.” “Every time I explain myself on stream, more people understand my condition. As more people become aware, life gets safer for us.” Although admittedly, Anita expressed that the experience can indeed “get repetitive” and that she wishes she didn’t have to label “tourette’s” in every YouTube video and stream of hers, she still feels “insanely lucky to be in a position to change things.” So yes it can get repetitive. I wish I didn’t have to put “”tourettes”” as part of the title for all of my streams and youtube videos. It can get boring to answer the same questions over and over again. But I still feel insanely lucky to be in a position to change things. (pt3) — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) January 22, 2020 Leaving a positive impact for those tuned in and raising awareness for her condition are evidently the highest priorities for Anita when going live each and every day on Twitch. Recently, the Amazon owned streaming platform came out in direct support of the streamer and outlined how “streamers with Tourette’s like Anita, have a home at Twitch.”

Sweet Anita demands TwitchCon security as fans mistakenly pay for “crazed” man’s ticket – Dexerto
Sweet Anita demands TwitchCon security as fans mistakenly pay for “crazed” man’s ticket Twitch/Sweet AnitaPopular Twitch streamer Sweet Anita is asking for help and some added security at TwitchCon after discovering her viewers accidentally crowdfunded tickets for a “crazed homeless guy.” As is the case with traditional celebrities, as Twitch streamers continue to grow in popularity and become mainstream, obsessed fans can pose a major safety concern. Sweet Anita has dealt with stalker issues in the past, with obsessed fans even allegedly showing up at her home. Now, it seems like another overzealous viewer looking for a relationship with the streamer has sent some disturbing messages about their TwitchCon plans. On May 23, the Twitch star exposed some of the DMs she received from the man and asked her viewers not stop funding his expenses. Sweet Anita exposes “crazed” man’s DMs The unnamed man claimed to be in love with Anita in the messages and felt that the streamer shared similar feelings. He also explained his intent to disguise himself by dying his hair and wearing a mask at TwitchCon, and warned that he didn’t want to hurt Anita or her security. “At the very least I guess TwitchCon will confirm my greatest hopes or deepest fears,” he wrote. STREAMERS how and where do you book security for twitchcon events? I had a crazed homeless guy join my discord and my comunity is full of really kind people so they all crowdfunded for his living expenses and twitch tickets etc not realizing he’s sending messages like these pic.twitter.com/jyvRg4LiIb — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) May 23, 2022 Anita, however, wants to make sure that the man can’t find his way into the event to ensure her safety. “Streamers, how and where do you book security for TwitchCon events?” she asked. “I had a crazed homeless guy join my Discord and my community is full of really kind people so they all crowdfunded for his living expenses and Twitch tickets.” According to Anita, she has been receiving “hundreds” of messages from the man every day – and there are a lot more than the ones she provided. TwitchCon 2022 is taking place in Amsterdam on July 16-17 and San Diego on October 7-9 . Hopefully, the streamer can get security sorted to ensure that her experience is a safe one.

Sweet Anita explains how she avoids Twitch slip-ups after Alinity ban – Dexerto
Sweet Anita explains how she avoids Twitch slip-ups after Alinity ban Sweet Anita, YouTube / Alinity Divine, InstagramTwitch streamer Alinity Divine caused a stir on social media after suffering an accidental wardrobe malfunction during a live broadcast — but fellow streamer Sweet Anita has a genius way of avoiding such mishaps. Alinity caught flak across the streaming community after she accidentally showed too much skin during an April 24 stream, leading for mass calls to ban her from the platform for an offense other broadcasters had been suspended for. While Twitch ended up hitting the star with a one-day suspension, Alinity’s scandal sparked a conversation throughout the streaming world regarding the consequences for accidental flashing — an issue another streamer had a genius idea to prevent. Broadcaster Sweet Anita is a popular face on Twitch, best known for her witty sense of humor, wholesome community, and acute Tourette’s Syndrome, which causes her to blurt out expletives and other such tics. However, some of her tics are more physical than others, with the streamer noting that one tic causes her to flash the camera — a problem she’s since solved by wearing a leotard beneath her clothes when broadcasting. “Dear ladies of Twitch,” she said of the matter. “I have flashing tics, and to avoid it happening on stream and getting banned, I wear a leotard under my clothes in case I lift my top or pull down my pants. Simple way to never get banned or have videos of your privates passed around by creeps.” Dear ladies of twitch. I have flashing tics, and to avoid it happening on stream and getting banned, I wear a leotard under my clothes in case I lift my top or pull down my pants. Simple way to never get banned or have videos of your privates passed around by creeps. 👍 — Sweet Anita (@sweetanita) April 30, 2020 This isn’t the only way Anita avoids her tics getting her into trouble; the star also has a stellar moderation team, who weed out any potentially triggering donation messages so as to avoid particular phrases that could set off certain tics. With her Severe Coprolalia in mind, these measures make sense as a means to prevent any uncontrollable flashing during a stream, as well as inhibit any accidental clothing mishaps in the process. Alinity isn’t the only streamer to have accidentally flashed the camera, either; there have been a number of recorded incidents of similar slip-ups on the platform, generally resulting in bans, but there’s no doubt that Alinity’s latest incident has stirred up the conversation around consequences for flashing on the platform unlike ever before.

Sweet Anita accidentally roasts Alinity’s pet drama with hilarious tic – Dexerto
Sweet Anita accidentally roasts Alinity’s pet drama with hilarious tic Twitch star Sweet Anita accidentally mocked fellow streamer, Natalia ‘Alinity’ Mogollon’s ongoing pet drama during a December 28 broadcast. Sweet Anita is perhaps best known for her acute Tourettes syndrome – a condition that causes her to make involuntary vocalizations and/or gestures (referred to as tics). However, her condition does not define her online persona by any means. Anita’s witty sense of humor and constant interaction with her community is the overriding reason why she has developed a following in excess of 600,000 on Twitch. The Brit makes the most out of her involuntary tics — which are often the butt of the joke in a majority of her clips. Read more: Top 10 funniest Twitch clips of 2019 – The 29-year-old responded in typical Sweet_Anita fashion when asked if she has any pets. “I throw them against the wall,” the Twitch streamer exclaimed. “I throw them over my shoulder… For views!” After pausing to laugh at the expense of her own tic, she proceeded to yell: “Is that content? It’s content!” While Anita didn’t directly mention Alinity’s name during the inadvertent skit, the streamer poked fun towards the controversial incident where Alinity threw her cat over her shoulder while playing Apex Legends. Mogollon’s antics have left her under the scrutiny of the public eye. More recently, Alinity caused quite the stir after clips of her playing with her dog went viral. Since the dust has settled after the most recent entry into Alinity’s slew of pet drama, Anita’s tic is to be taken in the most lighthearted context. It’s certainly not the first time her condition has sent her and her viewers into hysterics, as only recently she mocked all of her Twitch subscribers for wasting their money with one particularly hilarious tic.

Sweet Anita considering quitting Twitch over “mental toll” of creepy streaming fans – Dexerto
Sweet Anita considering quitting Twitch over “mental toll” of creepy streaming fans Twitch: Sweet AnitaSweet Anita reveals she may “one day” be forced away from Twitch by creepy fans, many of whom idolize and sexualize her far beyond her gaming streams, as the “mental toll” of her internet fame continues to weigh on the star. Anita, who has Tourette’s syndrome, is no stranger to being sexualized on the internet, especially — and unfortunately — by many of her 1.7 million followers. The 30-year-old first started streaming in 2018. Back then, her Twitch channel was just an easy way for her to share Overwatch gameplay with her burgeoning friends list but it soon became so much more; by 2020 she had cracked over a million fans, and become one of the platform’s bonafide stars. Sweet Anita is considering packing it all in, however. The Twitch fame Anita has earned over the past four years has been, in her words, “incredible,” but with it comes something sinister too. Among her 1.7m followers, many see the UK star as a sexual object, rather than just a streamer. Her constant battle with creepy fans takes a heavy “mental toll,” the Twitch star admits, so much so that Sweet Anita is tempted to scrap streaming and step away. The breaking point, Sweet Anita told HuffPost on July 20, was uncovering a new “NSFW” forum page on Reddit. The subreddit, which Dexerto will not identify, was filled with men who shared images, collages, and videos of the streamer. While Anita has never livestreamed nude, many of the images on the forum were digitally edited to make it look like she had. Others were slowed-down Twitch clips. On the linked Discord channel, things were even worse too. There, some Sweet Anita ‘fans’ shared videos of them ejaculating onto livestream screenshots, printed out images of the Twitch star, and edited photos. The anonymity of the Discord channels — and their invite-only access — meant the content shared was beyond what Anita had found on the original Reddit forum. “No matter what I do, or how I dress, they do this to me,” she said. “I haven’t ever even taken my clothes off in front of the camera and yet I’m still a very successful porn star. These people are literally ruining my experience of streaming,” the Twitch star continued. “It’s basically like having millions of people be your boss, and your boss is allowed to sexually harass you every day.” Anita says she’s attempted to have the Reddit forums and Discord groups shut down since discovering them in June but has, so far, been unsuccessful. There are other reasons too. Perhaps the biggest was the UK-based streamer’s ongoing struggle with a Twitch stalker who regularly slept outside her house, would follow her to the shops, and often threatened to kill her. And so, Sweet Anita is now toying with the idea of eventually stepping away from Twitch; she still loves streaming, but all the baggage it comes with is just “too much”. Before she was an internet celebrity, the 30-year-old had a steady career in wildlife rehabilitation. Her plan is to return to that, once she leaves Twitch. “I’ll probably end up going back to [that],” she said. “The mental toll of being at the mercy of these people for the rest of my life would just not be survivable.”

SweeetTails makes the most of her Pringles® Can Hands challenge struggles – Dexerto
SweeetTails makes the most of her Pringles® Can Hands challenge struggles PringlesEven though the Pringles® Can Hands challenge kept her from taking a win at Fall Guys, Twitch streamer SweeetTails made the most of it. #Ad The Pringles® Can Hands challenge started up on November 22 when Twitch streamer QTCinderella attempted a cooking stream while one hand was stuck in a Pringles can. The challenge has caught on and become so popular that streamers have tried to do everything from Minecraft speedruns to Dark Souls runs with a Pringles can on their digits. SweeetTails, known for her comedic Fall Guys streams, had to step up to the plate and see if she could beat the challenge. So on December 15, SweeetTails took on the challenge, dramatically lowering the Pringles can onto her left hand. Unfortunately, Fall Guys with only the mouse proved to be a bit more difficult than anticipated. In her very first round of Fall Guys, SweeetTails realized that it was going to be difficult to navigate the first course: Lily Leapers Limbo. In the wacky obstacle course, she was forced to both run and jump to advance, so she resorted to using her forehead to hit the spacebar and jump from platform to platform as she moved the mouse. “This is impossible,” SweeetTails laughed in-between failed attempts to leap from one bouncy lilypad to another. Even though she got close, SweeetTails was proven right as she failed to qualify for the second course. SweeetTails took the loss in stride, throwing in a dance break before her next course, Skyline Stumble, which she managed to qualify for. But SweeetTails revealed that, in fact, she had cut the end out of the Pringles can, giving her some ability to use her other hand. “I’m not cheating,” she said sheepishly. “They never said anything about modifying.” Fans of her stream and the Pringles® Can Hands challenge aren’t buying it. Each streamer had moments throughout their streams to give their chats the chance to win free Pringles, and the giveaways are still live here from now till Jan. 12. Official rules can be found here (no purchase necessary)!

Sway ‘rejoins’ FaZe Clan after leaving in social media stunt – Dexerto
Sway ‘rejoins’ FaZe Clan after leaving in social media stunt Martha GalvanFortnite pro and content creator Josue ‘Sway’ Burgos has ‘rejoined’ FaZe Clan after announcing he was “done” with the iconic organization. The manner in which it was done though has divided fans. 18 year-old Fortnite pro and content creator Sway has rejoined FaZe Clan after he abruptly announced his ‘departure’ from the clan on September 13. At the beginning of the week, Sway stated he was leaving FaZe after three years, simply posting an announcement on Twitter before then going completely silent on social media. His profile picture and banner on Twitter were blacked out — along with his Instagram profile too. He had also added that he would “explain when I’m ready” in an Instagram reel. That time would appear to be three days later on September 16 after he posted a video announcing his return and re-signing with the team. The video includes Sway lying down in some sort of revitalization chamber, building up his power and levelling up. When he awakens from the chamber, he is given a controller and can be seen fiddling around with it before the footage then confirms that he is back with FaZe Clan. The video ends by announcing that Sway is being “reintroduced” into FaZe Clan, even calling the Fortnite pro the “perfect gamer.” When heading over to the official Faze Clan website, Sway is now back on the team roster page. However the move has divided fans: While many are unsurprised by Sway coming back to FaZe, some voiced their disappointment at the publicity stunt. Sway was the youngest content creator to join FaZe Clan when he did so in 2019 at just 15. Since then he has gone on to become a well known figure in the gaming space, with over 4 million subscribers on YouTube and over 3 million Instagram followers.

Swedish TwitchCon attendee ends up in the wrong San Jose… in Costa Rica – Dexerto
Swedish TwitchCon attendee ends up in the wrong San Jose… in Costa Rica A Swedish Twitch streamer attending TwitchCon 2018 made the longest trip possible to reach the California event, with a stopover in Costa Rica on the way. The streamer, who goes by ‘Jellyzaur’ on Twitch and social media, left for her trip on October 24, departing from Stockholm, but was in for a longer journey than anticipated. Instead of getting on a plane headed for San Jose in California, she instead travelled to the capital city of Costa Rica, also called San Jose, over 5,000 kilometers south. According to Twitter posts, Jellyzaur reached San Jose in Costa Rica, on October 25, presumably only realizing her error when it was already too late. When TwitchCon 2018’s location was announced, people were (somewhat jokingly) reminding everyone to ensure they booked flights and accommodation at the correct San Jose, not expecting anyone to actually make the blunder. Fun fact: There are two San Josés. One in California where #TwitchCon2018 is. And one in Costa Rica.Wanna guess which one I ended up at? — Jelly in the correct San José (@Jellyzaur) October 26, 2018 Soon on my way back to the correct San Jose pic.twitter.com/qptMrlNeSn — Jelly in the correct San José (@Jellyzaur) October 26, 2018 Holy heck – this San Jose is beautiful pic.twitter.com/GizvkeWLkV — Jelly in the correct San José (@Jellyzaur) October 26, 2018 Jellyzaur got back on another flight, travelling to Panama – which she says she had never even heard of – before onwards to California. Currently in Panama – the country! Never heard of it, looks cool though pic.twitter.com/HAOvwD46Tb — Jelly in the correct San José (@Jellyzaur) October 26, 2018 Finally arriving in San Fransisco, only a day later than planned, and still in time for the main festivities at TwitchCon, Jellyzaur said it had been an “awesome experience”. An unexpected and albeit brief exploration of Central America is more than any other TwitchCon attendees would have bargained for. Late on October 26 however, another problem cropped up, as she was stuck in customs in San Fransisco (perhaps due to her irregular one day stopover in both Costa Rica and Panama), and may not be able to pick up her TwitchCon badge in time. Twitter help! I’m stuck in customs in San Francisco and might not be able to pick up my badge for @TwitchCon in time – and I really don’t want to miss the party NotLikeThis. Any advice? https://t.co/wPc914sJv2 — Jelly in the correct San José (@Jellyzaur) October 26, 2018 Thankfully, the issues at customs were resolved, with Jellyzaur giving a final update on her incredible TwitchCon adventure, writing simply “I made it to the party!!!”.

Sway House respond to allegations of steroid use – Dexerto
Sway House respond to allegations of steroid use YouTube: Josh RichardsPopular TikTok group ‘Sway House’ has long been under public scrutiny for their physical appearance, with many critics accusing the influencers of using steroids to achieve their gains — and now, the entire group has spoken out about the rumors. The Sway House is comprised of a slew of top-tier content creators, including the likes of Bryce Hall, Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, and Blake Gray, who boast millions of followers between them across multiple social media platforms. On February 23, the group got together to address popular rumors and speculation about them, using questions specifically provided by their own fans via Twitter. One of the more popular assumptions about these TikTokers has been spread around many times before, which claims that the group collectively takes steroids and other such enhancers to boost their workout results. View this post on Instagram While Bryce Hall has admitted to steroid use before, the entire group had yet to speak on the issue as a whole, which came up during their February “assumptions” video. “I guess I can’t really say anything on this one,” Hall laughed. “Griffin takes like, fake steroids though,” Richards joked. “He’s not even a full committer!” “Oh yeah, he gets ‘test boosters,’” Hall replied. “Just shoot it up in the butt!” “Dude, I literally only take vitamins!” Griffin retorted. “They help increase your natural testosterone levels!” (Topic begins at 3:00) The jokes against Griffin come as a humorous turn of the tables, after Tayler Holder grilled Bryce Hall about his own purported steroid use in December. During their humorous Q & A session, Hall did admit that he had used steroids in the past, but had since gone back to being “all natty.” Read More: Jake Paul mocks Conor McGregor & Khabib – “Yes, I did,” Hall laughed. “So do so many other people, so f**k you guys! More plates, more dates. You guys were correct!” “Let me tell you, I’m not encouraging any of my viewers to do it,” he added. “I just wanted to get big. I’m off now, I’m all natty now. Fully.” (Topic starts at 1:50) While the accusations of steroid use among the rest of the group remain as mere allegations, it’s important for fans to remember that their favorite influencers likely have a slew of resources at their disposal to obtain such bodies, and that being completely shredded isn’t a totally realistic body goal to set for everyone.

Sway & Hype House to be punished by LA Mayor for controversial parties – Dexerto
Sway & Hype House to be punished by LA Mayor for controversial parties Talent XThe Sway and Hype houses could have landed themselves without utilities after throwing multiple parties, as the Los Angeles mayor has apparently been contacted and they will have their water and power shut off in the coming days. With Bryce Hall turning 21, the TikTok star and his Sway housemates threw a large party as you’d expect, but they’ve come under fire from a number of different angles for doing so. Videos emerged from the gathering on August 14, which showed that the partygoers, consisting of mostly content creators from TikTok and YouTube, having little regard for social distancing measures among other things. As a result of such a large gathering of people, it appears as if the Sway House will losing their access to water and power – and they could land themselves in even more trouble if they throw further parties. On August 16, Comedian Elijah Daniel tweeted about the get-together, calling Sway and Hype House members “attention-seeking clowns” who had been “risking lives for clout” by throwing parties amid the ongoing pandemic. He also added that he’d been in contact with the Mayor’s office and that the two houses would be without power and water after Tuesday, August 18, for repeatedly breaking new rules about gatherings. “I’m sure you’ll be told this but after your power and water gets shut off on Tuesday, if you continue to party they can, and will, try to charge you with domestic bioterrorism to make an example out of you,” the comedian added. just a warning for Sway & Hype, i don’t even give a fuck about y’all and I’m sure you’ll be told this but after your power and water gets shut off on Tuesday, if you continue to party they can and will try to charge you with domestic bioterrorism to make an example out of you ❤️ https://t.co/3h7GpgJP4F — elijah daniel (@elijahdaniel) August 16, 2020 As of writing, no members of the Sway or Hype house have responded to Elijah’s tweet, so it’s unknown if they are aware of what is supposedly going down. Though, if true, it should mean no more parties for them in LA. Dexerto has also contacted the LA Mayor’s office for comment, but as of publishing, they have not responded. We’ll update this post as and when any response is given or if any new information comes to light.

Sway House neighbours claim TikTok group is ruining their street – Dexerto
Sway House neighbours claim TikTok group is ruining their street Instagram: swaylaThe Sway House is one of the most famous groups on TikTok, with tens of millions of followers between them as they find their feet with their new-found celebrity status. Content houses have been a thing for as long as online content has been a money-spinner. Now, with a new generation of adolescents and young adults taking over and making millions from TikTok, they’re becoming ever more popular. The Sway House is a group of young men that have taken residence in a fancy Bel Air mansion, in an area usually preserved for celebrities and the super-rich and, as you can imagine, this has caused somewhat of a stir among residents. When member Bryce Hall calls himself and his fellow Sway members “Party Animals,” he clearly means it, as evidenced in recent interviews with some of his neighbors. Speaking with the New York Times, Sway’s neighbors have explained what kind of people have moved into their street – and the trouble they’re causing. Their neighbors immediately next door, including U.C.L.A law student Mindy Acevedo, have filed complaints against the group. She said: “In the morning, we hear paintball guns. I don’t think they sleep. Whenever they’re hanging out by the pool, the sound just carries. We can hear them shouting ‘chug, chug, chug.’ I’ve heard someone throwing up at night outside.” This sounds like a standard student lifestyle, but it seems like this kind of behavior isn’t exactly commonplace in the neighborhood they inhabit. Neighbors also say that the area has transformed into what “feels like Coachella,” with random girls passing through regularly, including turning up at the wrong houses, causing concern for residents on the street. Neighbors say that they have contacted the Los Angeles Police Department more than once to make noise complaints, though Warren Lentz, the group’s talent agency TalentX’s CEO, says that to their knowledge, there have been no formal noise complaints. They also claim to have contacted Sway members about the noise and issues arising from their residence, with Acevedo claiming that she contacted Bryce Hall to warn him she was going to make another formal complaint. His response, allegedly, was to simply ask her: “Aren’t you the babysitter?” With concerns about swatting, doxxing and harassment, a number of the Sway neighbors claim that they’re worried about the possible repercussions of trying to sort things out with the Sway house. For now, unfortunately, it seems the neighbors’ issues are simply going to continue.

Sway House members under fire for attending another lockdown party – Dexerto
Sway House members under fire for attending another lockdown party YouTube: Sway LAJust weeks after the Sway House faced the wrath of fans and LA authorities after throwing a 21st birthday party for member Bryce Hall, it seems that the group of TikTokers are back to their old ways, as videos have emerged of them attending another party despite the current health crisis. In footage obtained by drama account TikTok Room, several members of the Sway House – including Bryce Hall, who had previously pledged to stop partying after his last run-in with the law – can be seen standing on tables and cheering. Among the crowd, there seems to be little social distancing going on, and nobody appears to be wearing masks. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFXMEjDnqXT/ Pictures was also sent to the account seemingly confirming that TikTok influencer Sydney May – who was previously linked to Bryce Hall – was also in attendance at this party alongside Ryland Storms, to which a user commented: “Not Ryland!” https://www.instagram.com/p/CFXMQ_cnnJs/ Unsurprisingly, fans responded with a lot of disdain over the Sway House’s latest move. One user commented on the TikTok Room’s Instagram post: “Are we surprised? No.”, while another user said in a comment that got over 100 likes “They [are] just asking for hate tbh [sic]”. Other fans shared similar sentiments over on TikTok Insider’s Instagram post of the footage. One user commented that they had “clearly never learned their lesson” and that it was “time to ‘deplatform’ them”, whilst another user said that when Bryce and Josh Richards promised to stop partying, they were just “telling people what they wanted to hear”. https://twitter.com/aanniiyahhh/status/1307694392858292226 Meanwhile, over on Twitter, fans were even more skeptical, with one user claiming that influencers over at the Hype House never got the same scrutiny as the Sway House despite also partying during the global health crisis. Members of the Sway House are yet to respond publicly to the leaked footage of their party. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFXNCbPnfw6/ What happened the last time the Sway House partied? Bryce Hall along with other members of the Hype House have been under a lot of scrutiny for their lack of social distancing or respect for lockdown rules since August 14, when they threw a big party to celebrate Hall’s 21st birthday. Residents were enraged at these actions, and even reported the boys to the LA mayor, who then made good on his promise to shut down the utilities of any resident found to be hosting house parties. The controversy surrounding their partying led to the boys being forced to move out of their home, and it really seemed that they were prepared to turn over a new leaf. At the time, Hall said to reporters that he “regretted” throwing parties during lockdown and “deserved” to “face the consequences” of his actions. Given that Hall has apparently gone back on his word, and his bail conditions from an arrest in May already being precarious, it will be interesting to see whether any consequences will come from him and the rest of the Sway House for returning to their partying ways.

The Sway House has released a game and people are absolutely baffled – Dexerto
The Sway House has released a game and people are absolutely baffled TikTok: swaystoriesgamePopular TikTok collective Sway House has released a story-based animated game starring influencers Josh Richards and Griffin Johnson, and people aren’t sure what to think about it. ‘Houses’ have become a particularly popular phenomenon on TikTok over the past couple of years, with some of the platform’s most popular creators banding together to create content and garner a huge fan base. Sway House is one of these collectives, and originally featured creators like Bryce Hall, Josh Richards, Noah Beck, Griffin Johnson, and more. However, there has been some confusion over whether the house is actually active anymore, after Bryce Hall revealed that the house is “dead,” after they moved out. But it looks like they still have some projects in the works, as in August it was revealed that a game would be coming out inspired by the group. The game is called ‘Sway Stories,’ and is an animated narrative choice-based game that released in September, starring creators Josh Richards and Griffin Johnson. After YouTuber Kurtis Conner uploaded a video about the game on September 24, in which he called the project a “disaster,” Sway Stories has been flooded with attention again. In particular, people have been critical of the promotional material published on the dedicated TikTok page that sees Josh and Griffin act out lines from the game. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The game, developed by Playco, is available via a link in their TikTik bio, and users play as a girl who gets invited to a Sway House party and gets to meet its most popular stars. So far, only one episode of the game has been released, and although it is technically free to play, people have to pay to be able to unlock all of the conversation options. They claim they will release the second episode when they reach 50,000 TikTok followers, but given that they’re currently only at 15,000, it’s not clear how soon that will be.

Sway House member Nick Bean under fire for allegedly racist video – Dexerto
Sway House member Nick Bean under fire for allegedly racist video Instagram: nickbeanSway House member Nick Bean has received backlash on social media after a video on Bryce Hall’s Instagram story appeared to show him doing the ‘fox eye’. 25-year-old content creator Nick Bean has a strong following on both YouTube and TikTok. His YouTube channel has 1.68 million subscribers while his verified TikTok account has 2.4 million followers. As a member of the Sway House, he also collaborates with influencers such as Bryce Hall and Chase Hudson and is a frequent presence in their Instagram posts. However, his latest appearance in TikTok star Bryce Hall’s Instagram story has caused controversy, as many viewers accused him of doing the ‘fox eye’ – a trend where people stretch their eyes to appropriate the Asian eye shape and is widely seen as an act of racial stereotyping and discrimination. https://www.instagram.com/p/CF6OVW5l5mR/ It didn’t take long after the video surfaced for fans to express their dissent towards Bean’s actions. In a comment that received over 500 likes, one user said: “Him doing it and Bryce recording n putting it on his story just shows just how much-normalized racism against Asians really is [sic].” Meanwhile, another user from an Asian background said that “as an Asian, we have been oppressed for SO long, and now the whites are trying to reclaim it. pls pls pls pls stop!! we are all human, and we should all treat each other equally. just be your own race, and don’t mock it. not that hard. [sic]” Other fans tried to defend the TikToker. One user claimed that “he’s putting the middle fingers up to his face” as opposed to doing the offensive ‘fox eyes ‘ action, while another argued that people “can’t post anything anymore” without the fear of being criticized. Despite these attempts at defense, it’s clear that the consensus is that Bean was acting offensively in this video. In one comment that got over 500 likes, a user said that the 25-year-old should know better, as he’s a “a very grown man”, and that “he should educate himself [about racism] without people asking him to.” At the time of writing, Bean hasn’t responded to these allegations and despite the controversy, the video remains live on Hall’s Instagram story.

Sway House accused of scamming artist for work he did for them – Dexerto
Sway House accused of scamming artist for work he did for them SwayLA, InstagramLos Angeles-based artist Brooks Kossover claimed that he was scammed by the Sway House after being hired to paint a mural of Bryce Hall and Josh Richards for the popular TikTok group, in one of their prank videos. After receiving some backlash for hosting and attending parties during lockdown, the Sway House members have come under more fire after they were accused of scamming an artist, Brooks Kossover. The artist, who was hired to paint a “joke mural” of Bryce Hall and Josh Richards as part of their YouTube prank war, revealed that the Sway House had not delivered their share of the deal until he was forced to call them out. During the latest episode of The Leo & Danny Show, on September 22, where Brooks was featured as the guest, he explained that he had only done the mural for free, in exchange for a shoutout on social media. “I do this, they give me a YouTube shoutout, a story shoutout and put all my links, I’m not getting any money for this.” he explained, “I’ll do the first one as a freebie and maybe it’d be good to bring a different demographic and audience to me.” The popular influencers have a massive fan base with tens of millions of followers across all their pages, but Kossover claimed that they did not shout him out when the vlog was first released. “The next day the vlog comes out, not only did they not put my link in the description at all but there was no story posted, and they used my painting as the thumbnail,” he claimed. Topic starts at 42:25 “I told the management if he doesn’t post the story within 24 hours, I could literally go to small claims,” Kossover added, explaining his concerns over being scammed by the group. However, after calling out the Sway House members, they eventually included his links and promoted him for the mural after the video had already been uploaded. Brooks explained that they had even removed his painting from the thumbnail after their back and forth but he claimed it was “not worth it at all” with the delay.

Sway House confronts Hype House after Charli D’Amelio exposes Lil Huddy – Dexerto
Sway House confronts Hype House after Charli D’Amelio exposes Lil Huddy Instagram: Lil Huddy / Charli D’Amelio / Jaden Hossler[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikTok’s two biggest groups, Sway House and Hype House, took their beef out of social media and into the real world after Charli D’Amelio exposed Lil Huddy for cheating on her with Nessa Barret. TikTok has taken notes from esports and YouTube houses to create their own content organizations, with two of the platform’s biggest groups being the Hype House and Sway House. While Hype House once boasted a roster of TikTok’s biggest stars, recurring drama has led to a mass exodus from the org, while Sway House has seen an influx of such personalities as college soccer player Noah Beck, among others. Drama between these two houses is not unheard of; but their beef took a turn for the worse on July 6, after TikTok queen Charli D’Amelio accused ex-boyfriend Chase Hudson (also known as Lil Huddy) of cheating on her with fellow TikToker Nessa Barret. https://twitter.com/charlidamelio/status/1280300576224366592?s=20 TikTok quickly took sides amidst the scandal, with Sway House’s Jaden Hossler, Bryce Hall and Anthony Reeves sticking with D’Amelio in wake of her accusations — but not before Hudson could air out the relationship drama from other creators in response to the mass backlash against him. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU6bKbnDIu/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link However, Hossler seemingly had enough of Hudson’s Twitter fingers and set out to confront the TikToker in person, posting a selfie to his Instagram stories with a caption that read, “On my way, say those fake-a** lies to our face, Chase.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU9AUGHLBY/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link What transpired was a tense conversation between Hossler and the Hype House members, which was also uploaded to Instagram amid the chaos. “We just wanna talk, actually,” Hossler claimed. “I’m not gonna fight him. Why would I want to fight that small-a** motherf**ker? …he wants to go online and say some stupid-a** lies, so we’re gonna talk about the lies down here.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU_QgsnBIs/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link He also claimed that paparazzi had been called to the scene, and speculated they’d been tipped off by Hype House members. Despite the high-tension confrontation, Hossler announced that he’d finally “settled” things with Hudson in a follow-up Tweet, clarifying that no violence had taken place during the encounter. we talked. no fighting. it’s settled. i was heated asf but now i’m calm bc talking can resolve everything. it’s over— jaden (@JadenHossler) July 7, 2020 Although the Hossler/Hudson beef might be over, that isn’t stopping the net from continuing to prod the drama on social media in wake of D’Amelio’s jaw-dropping allegations against one of TikTok’s biggest stars.

Swarmz fights off two robbers in viral gas station brawl – Dexerto
Swarmz fights off two robbers in viral gas station brawl Instagram: swarmz_ / X: Happy PunchBritish rapper and boxer Swarmz is going viral after fighting off two robbers at a gas station who apparently wanted his watch. The world of influencer-boxing is only growing bigger every day as more and more creators step into the ring to show off their skills. Amongst the many TikTokers, YouTubers, and streamers donning their boxing gloves are names who regularly appear in influencer-boxing events like Jake Paul, KSI, and Tommy Fury. British rapper, former footballer, and now boxer Brandon ‘Swarmz’ Scott is one of these influencers, who notably faced off against KSI in August 2022. He’s taken a total of three boxing matches with a 1-2 record, not including his survivor tag match on Misfits Series 008… and luckily for him, it looks like all this experience helped him when he needed his combat sports skills outside of the ring. Swarmz fights off two robbers in viral gas station showdown On September 13, a video was uploaded to Twitter showing Swarmz at a gas station fending off a supposed robber. According to a caption posted by Happy Punch, the robber was apparently after his watch — and that robber wasn’t alone. Later in the video, another man wearing a dark hoodie runs up to Swarmz and gets tripped, falling to the ground, whereupon Swarmz unleashes a punch to his face. Based on the video, it certainly looks like Swarmz had the upper hand, as one of the robbers fled the scene. Thus far, Swarmz has yet to publicly comment on the video — but fans are applauding his skills. “That kick that tripped the second guy was clean, and he landed a good shot on him on the ground,” one fan wrote on X. “He should do MMA!” That kick that tripped the second guy was clean and he landed a good shot on him on the ground. He should do MMA! — King Ratio III (@ratiodbytheking) September 13, 2023 “Bro ain’t taking no more L’s,” another said. “They ran up on the wrong one.” Still others wondered if the video was fake — but for now, it seems many are believing it’s real. This wouldn’t be the first time a major influencer was thought to be in a recent brawl. In fact, a video went viral on Twitter after fans were convinced that YouTuber Markiplier got into a fistfight in the street (but it wasn’t actually him).

Swarmz teases diss track calling out Deji after beating Ryan Taylor in ‘One Punch’ – Dexerto
Swarmz teases diss track calling out Deji after beating Ryan Taylor in ‘One Punch’ London-based rapper Swarmz has teased a diss track aimed at influencer turned boxer Deji after defeating Ryan Taylor with a single punch to his left eye. Many people tuning in to the 2 Fights, 1 Night boxing event featuring KSI weren’t familiar with his “rapper friend” Swarmz. And after the two fought in KSI’s first main event fight of the night, viewers weren’t soon to forget how Swarmz ran scared for most of the bout. He swatted at KSI, telegraphed sluggish overhand swings, ran around the mat, and twirled like a ballerina. So, when it was announced he would be on the Misfit card in January 2023, boxing fans didn’t expect much from the fight. And they weren’t prepared for the transformation Swarmz had made. A week before the fight, the rapper released a diss track titled Redemption, where he mocked his opponent, Ryan Taylor, and spoke on his four-month transformation. And his hard work paid off as Swarmz finished the fight in a single punch that tore Taylor’s retina. Swarmz to drop ‘One Punch’ diss track on Deji Following this fight, Swarmz has made it clear that he wants to take on KSI’s younger brother Deji. Swarmz currently has a record of 1-1, while Deji has a record of 1-4 coming off a loss against Floyd Mayweather. Despite his negative record and taking four years to his first win, Deji has advised Swarmz to “stay in his lane with the scrubs.” Swarmz clapped back on Instagram by stating he’s only trained for four months and has the same amount of wins and a better record than Deji. As his fans continue to insist the two meet in the ring, Deji has stated that he will “body” Swarmz if the money is right. And Swarmz is building anticipation for the potential fight by teasing an upcoming diss track. ‘One punch’ starts with Ryan Taylor’s voice complaining about his eye during their fight. It then leads in to Swarmz saying Deji is next while making references to his fight with Taylor, including, “We never saw eye to eye, I guess he can’t anymore.” The teaser cuts short at 27 seconds – albeit longer than Swarmz’s match against Taylor – giving a taste of what listeners have to look forward to. The release date for the track hasn’t been made public, but the date at the end of the trailer reads **/01/23. We will have to wait and see how the feud between the two pans out, and hopefully, we will see Deji and Swarmz enter the ring in 2023.

Swagg signs exclusive Twitch streaming contract in LeBron “The Decision” parody – Dexerto
Swagg signs exclusive Twitch streaming contract in LeBron “The Decision” parody Twitter, @SwaggOne of Call of Duty: Warzone’s biggest streamers, Kris ‘Swagg’ Lamberson has signed an exclusive contract with Twitch. And, fittingly, he announced it with a parody of LeBron James’ 2010 “The Decision” TV special. In 2010, a free-agent LeBron shocked (and angered) the basketball world by announcing that he would be joining the Miami Heat to join All-Star friends and win championships. In 2021, Swagg, who played high school and college basketball, surprised no one by earning an exclusive deal with Twitch. With over 300,000 Twitter followers and over 1.4 million on Twitch, Swagg is a known commodity in the streaming and gaming influencer worlds. A member of FaZe Clan and a founder of his own group, Nuke Squad, the streamer has made Verdansk his playground and continued to grow an enormous community while doing so. For the announcement video, Swagg took inspiration from LeBron’s infamous TV special but put his own twist on it. Focusing specifically on how vital he considers his role as a Black streamer to be, he explained that this is just one step of many. The checkered button-up shirt, the TV set background, and the awkwardly muted expressions — Swagg may just have a future in acting if his 2010 LeBron impersonation is anything to go off of. Still, as far as messaging goes, his intentions are clearly different from The King’s championship desires. While an avid competitor himself, who just recently won the Toronto Ultra $100K Warzone tournament, Swagg drilled home just how pivotal his growth means for minorities in gaming: “I think it’s important, man, just to inspire the next generation of gamers … even more specifically, Black gamers, in a world where you don’t see too many of them.” Not content with his own success and the growth of his platform, Swagg honed in on why this deal is part of a bigger picture: “This decision right here is huge and I think I can be a leader in that aspect.” On a billboard in Times Square… insane God is good pic.twitter.com/t46ar1y2YP — FaZe Swagg ☢️ (@Swagg) February 27, 2021 When LeBron went to South Beach in 2010, it shifted the NBA landscape as the world’s most talented player helped change basketball forever. In the years since, players have followed Bron’s footsteps as unbelievably athletic forwards have focused on guard skills and stars have recognized they should be empowered to play wherever they want to play. For Swagg, the exclusive contract with Twitch is unsurprising, and putting together a “The Decision” parody is an easy, humorous ode to his past. But, as he emphasizes, his success is about more than himself and can hopefully embody a shifting of gaming’s landscape toward more inclusivity of minorities.
