Summit1g left in tears after breaking Max Payne 3 speedrun world record Twitch: summit1g/Rockstar GamesTwitch streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar was left speechless and in tears after breaking the Max Payne 3 hardcore speedrun world record. Having started on the platform all the way back in 2011, Summit1g has since established himself as a household name on Twitch and one of the most well-known figures in the gaming community. With nearly 6 million followers and over 35,000 loyal subscribers, the streamer can be found playing a variety of titles including GTA RP, Escape From Tarkov, and more recently, Max Payne 3. The leader of the 1G Squad had decided to pick up the latter, attempting speed runs on the hardcore difficulty. Despite being incredibly talented at FPS games, he did not for a second expect to contest the record and was simply playing the game for content. However, on July 2, he managed to pull off the unthinkable and broke the world record speedrun for the game, leaving him and his viewers completely shocked. Summit1g breaks Max Payne 3 speedrun world record During his July 2 stream, Summit1g was attempting a Max Payne 3 hardcore speedrun while interacting with his viewers. Despite the run starting off well, a few small mistakes throughout led Summit to assume that it wasn’t going to be a particularly impressive time. As he approached the final moments of the game, he wasn’t paying attention to the timer and was just looking to finish the run off strong. It was only when viewers in his chat started going crazy that Summit realized what he’d managed to achieve. “What’s the world record? We didn’t get I don’t think boys… it’s 1:30:58? No, no, no f***ing way”. Finishing the game in 1:30:52, the streamer managed to beat the previous record by six seconds. He was so overwhelmed about the achievement it moved him to tears, showing exactly how much it meant to him. “My first reaction is to f***ing cry, it’s not like I’ve put my f***ing heart and absolute soul into it yet, you know what I mean? I didn’t expect to get it on this run… I was even telling myself during this run, you’re so stupid for putting world record attempt in your title.” Breaking any speedrun world record is an unbelievable achievement, especially when there are players who dedicate thousands of hours to perfecting their runs. Despite being known for FPS and RP gameplay, this record could mark a change for Summit and spur him on to stream more speedrun content. No matter what he decides to do, this is a huge moment in Summit’s gaming career and it’ll definitely be one he remembers for a long time to come.

Summit1g left stunned after Valorant teammate clutches impossible 1v2 – Dexerto
Summit1g left stunned after Valorant teammate clutches impossible 1v2 Twitch: Summit1gTwitch star Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar was left red-faced as he wrote off the chance of his Valorant teammate winning a key round before they pulled off an insane clutch that left him lost for words. Summit1g has always been one of Twitch’s most-popular variety streamers, as he won’t tie himself down to any one game in particular – even if others are doing so. The variety streamer can often be seen playing games like of GTA RP, Escape from Tarkov, and Sea of Thieves, but he regularly goes back to his FPS roots too. The former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitor often dives back into the iconic Valve title, but more recently, he’s been giving Valorant a try. During his February 17 stream, Summit picked Valorant back up for the first time in six months. However, despite his prior pro career, the streamer couldn’t have guessed that his teammate would clutch the round. In a 1v2 situation with only a pistol in hand, Summit completely wrote off the chance that his teammate would win. But with all odds against them, Summit’s teammate pulled off the impossible and won. “Oh we lost this,” said Summit, before being proved wrong seconds later as the teammate tapped two quick shots. That left him somewhat lost for words. “I don’t know how that worked, but he’s doing something right… I need to do what he’s doing,” he added. Given the situation his teammate was left with, it’s understandable why Summit completely wrote off the chance of winning. However, it goes to show why you should always support your fellow players, even in the most difficult positions.

Summit1g leaves yet another crew reeling after hilarious Sea of Thieves heist – Dexerto
Summit1g leaves yet another crew reeling after hilarious Sea of Thieves heist Just days after Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar patiently hid on another crew’s boat and stole their entire collection of skulls and Athena Chests, he’s topped it with an even more lucrative heist. The former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive streamer has been terrorizing teams on Sea of Thieves lately, in search of sought after treasures. Judging by this video, it looks like he isn’t planning on slowing down any time soon. This heist was much more lucrative than his last as well, as he found himself on board a Galleon with three Athena Chests. So, he started making moves. As we’ve seen before, there’s usually only a few seconds between the crew’s slight lapse in concentration and Summit beginning to move all of their loot to the back end of the Galleon and escape without a trace. Read More: Summit1g pulls off heist of the century in Sea of Thieves, escapes in row boat with crew’s loot – Summit waited right under the nose of the team he was about to steal from, crouching behind a chair in the map room of the ship. From there, he quickly worked out the direction in which the team was headed, by listening carefully to their voices. He informed his team quickly, maybe so they could swoop in and help him. Summit said: “100% they’re sailing for Plunder. That’s what they’ve just said. Let’s sail for Plunder dude, when they get them all on.” Then, quickly putting together a new strategy to escape with the loot unharmed, Summit suggested a tactic we’ve seen work for him in the past. “I can jack their shit and get out on a rowboat right now. You think I should rowboat them right now?” he added, before his team rammed into the ship causing a distraction. Summit snapped into action, promptly, and went for the rowboat play again in this amazing heist. After whisking into the distance with three Athena Chests on his small wooden boat, the streamer went back on board their ship and helped kill them all. One player from the defeated crew said: “I’m done” before the entire team disconnected from the game. It just doesn’t get much better than that.

Summit1g gets instant karma after mocking enemy on PUBG – Dexerto
Summit1g gets instant karma after mocking enemy on PUBG Popular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar was left completely speechless when karma swooped in and ended one of his PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds matches. The long-time streamer, who is one of the Twitch originals, has been bouncing from game to game since his departure from GTA RP. Summit has dabbled in plenty of titles but gets to show off his skills best in shooters like CS:GO and PUBG. However, while he can dominate opponents at times, that doesn’t stop him from providing hilarious moments of magic during his downfall. Although considered a skilled player, Lazar has made no secret about his struggles since returning to PUBG, stating that after three days of playing, he was yet to pull off a single win. During his July 13 stream, Summit had been attempting to make his way towards the safe zone when he came under gunfire from an opposing player. Yet, the streamer acted with utter confidence – wriggling his car around fallen debris to make himself more difficult to hit. “Ha ha! You didn’t think of this. You ain’t hitting that shit,” summit called out as one enemy drilled his car with shots. However, he was left red in the face only a few seconds later as he was eliminated by a headshot. Of course, the streamer saw the funny side of things as he kept completely silent for a few moments before rolling his eyes and trying to explain his thought process to his viewers. “I was going to go up the curb, but I didn’t think he was going to be able to shoot that fast so I was waiting a second,” summit told his chat, with a smile on his face – seemingly knowing that he just been struck down by karma. Thankfully for summit, it’s not exactly first hilarious run-in with karma that he has had with his return to the popular battle royale title. Only two days earlier, on July 11, the long-time streamer ignored his viewers calls to turn around from danger before being killed as well as running into a bizarre Harry Potter-like flying car – leaving him completely bemused. After grinding out the game for ten hours, it seems clear that summit is enjoying his return to PUBG and might stick around for a little longer yet. That should be good news for his fans as he continues to provide hilarious moments during every broadcast – although a win might be nice for once too.

Summit1g jinxes himself with perfectly timed prediction – Dexerto
Summit1g jinxes himself with perfectly timed prediction Summit1g, TwitchJaryd ‘Twitch, but even he can’t always be perfect, as we seen during a stream on October 7. The variety streamer is a retired professional CS:GO player who has been broadcasting gaming content since 2012, but upon his retirement in 2016 his streaming career has taken off, becoming the 11th most followed figure on Twitch. He has made some returns to Counter-Strike in an unofficial capacity, playing in some ESEA matches and Open qualifiers, he has become known for streaming various titles, predominantly FPS. Despite how well-known he is for his fantastic FPS skills, Summit1g can still occasionally fall victim to simply being outplayed, and that’s exactly what happened in his stream on October 7 while playing Escape from Tarkov. You can see him trying to play stealthily, seeking out an opponent that he knows is nearby. He even goes as far as to perfectly predict where his opponent is going to be, saying: “We might see someone right around this corner”. As fate would have it, as soon as he turns around that corner he gets shot and killed. Summit took it well, though, laughing off the situation. He said: “He was prone in the grass man, god damn it”, and his viewers found it equally as hilarious as they spammed “LUL” in the chat. Escape from Tarkov has been one of the streamer’s personal favorites in recent weeks but he recently called out the devs to update the game after facing a slightly more ridiculous death. Although Escape from Tarkov hasn’t been the most popular game on Twitch, Summit still gets thousands of dedicated viewers with each stream and has found a lane of his own. Summit1g hits back at critics bashing his GTA V roleplay skills – Dexerto
Summit1g hits back at critics bashing his GTA V roleplay skills Twitch streamer, GTA V. Summit1g has been known for streaming such a large variety of games on Twitch and is one the platform’s longest standing streamers with over 3.7 million followers. Although it seems that his talents to quickly adapt to games are strong, some fans feel that during his latest GTA roleplay streams that he is not truly immersing himself and taking the ‘role’ as seriously, as some other streamers on Twitch. Summit1g was one of the first to return to GTA V roleplay streams in the recent wave of Twitch streamers returning to the game and he has contributed heavily to recent activity and viewership around GTA V. Having been recently criticized by xQc on his streams for his different style of roleplay, summit1g took the time to respond to everyone who watches his streams and explain why his streams are so different to other streams on the roleplay servers. Summit started by saying that he may not be as good as “RPing” as some of the other streamers and their characters do on Twitch, however he followed up by stating that he did not fell that putting on a voice added much to the experience, “but lets not pretend talking in a stupid voice in a circle is either.” Can’t help if I love racing others and running from cops in the process. It’s just so much fun. — summit1g (@summit1g) March 30, 2019 He finished up the thread by saying that he cant help not following the usual set of RP activities as others because that playing his own way, which involves a lot of racing others and running from cops, is more enjoyable for him. “It’s just so much fun.” Fans and other roleplay streamers backed summit1g, saying that they he should essentially do whatever he enjoys while playing on the GTA RP servers, and not to worry about what others think. GTA V content creator, LordKebun, responded to summit1g telling him that his streams wouldn’t be fun if he didn’t mix “random shit” in, and stating that some viewers clearly just love to hate regardless. Another RP streamer who previously played alongside summit1g on the roleplay servers, RatedEpicz, responded by saying that he felt his roleplay streams were great, jokingly adding, “you’re clearly crashing on purpose because it’s what your character would do”, to which summit replied saying, “Someone finally sees.” YouTuber, JoblessGarrett indicated that he loved summit1g’s streams even comparing the relationship he had with Summit’s character, “Charles Johnson”, to the Twilight movie series, while listing the roleplay streams as a serious contender. I mean the love relationship Garrett Jobless has with Charles Johnson is pretty strong. A serious contender to the Twilight series — Garrett (@JoblessGarrett) March 30, 2019 It doesn’t appear that Summit has any intentions of stopping these roleplay streams soon, as fans will be expecting so much more hilarious interactions during his GTA V sessions.

Summit1g holds head in shame after GTA RP gas station disaster – Dexerto
Summit1g holds head in shame after GTA RP gas station disaster Jaryd ‘Grand Theft Auto RP. The popular variety streamer is always mixing up the games he chooses to play for his audience, but whether it be GTA RP, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare or other titles, moments that show off the fire curse from his CS:GO days is something some of his fans will never get tired of seeing. During his broadcast on October 28, the broadcaster was breezing through a race, gliding down the roads, before something devastating happened. After crashing numerous times during the course of the race, Summit decided to pull over into a gas station. “It’s alright chat,” he said before reversing into the area. There have been times in the past where the player has exploded due to glitches in the stations before, but this time it looked even worse as the vehicle moved right into the fuel tanks, clipped another vehicle, and blasted his car into smithereens. It was a real head in hands moment for him. Once he had been killed, his character flopped up and down for a few moments before he exited the game altogether, moving onto Modern Warfare. Those who have been tuning into summit’s streams in October will know that he has been rotating between Sea of Thieves, GTA RP and more recently CoD as well. Days before, the same fire curse struck in Modern Warfare, as seen below. After trying to throw an explosive back towards an enemy, he accidentally killed himself with a Molotov. We’re not entirely sure if any player in history, certainly high profile ones at least, have died quite as many times as he has in fire-related deaths, but the tally is racked up pretty high at this point. In GTA alone, he has driven into gas stations, been caught on fire in some insane glitches, and even been part of some huge explosive police getaways as well. Whether or not he will continue to stream GTA moving forward remains to be seen, but it’s likely that he will continue his varied schedule – regardless of how many times he gets burned.

Summit1g gets instant karma after bragging about his GTA RP driving – Dexerto
Summit1g gets instant karma after bragging about his GTA RP driving Popular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar was left red in the face after calling his shot in GTA RP, only to fail miserably and fall into the arms of the police. While a number of Twitch streamers have tried out GTA RP and moved away from it, summit1g continues to roam around the Los Santos as his ever-popular Charles Johnson character. The former CS:GO streamer, who remains on the wrong side of the law, has proven himself to be one of the game’s best drivers – winning countless races. However, that ends up being worthless when he times his own downfall with a perfect piece of cocky trash talk. During his September 9 stream, Lazar had been locked in a high-speed police chase when one of his fellow players became worried about the pursuit and the traffic that they had been weaving in and out of. “Relax, relax, this is the track man,” summit said, with the police still hot on his tail, “I don’t lose on this track.” However, he was quickly proven wrong as a car in front of him immediately stopped and crashed into him – sending the streamer and his friends flying through the windscreen and into the grasp of the waiting police officers. As his chat quickly filled up with laughs and hilarious emotes, Summit had to break character as he was blown away by what had happened. “Why did that car just stop?” he asked, wondering if it was a glitch. Yet, as the police placed him in handcuffs, he decided to review the footage – taking a moment to laugh at himself in the process. “It just insta stops,” summit commented. “What makes the fucking local just randomly stop his car? What the fuck is that? Oh, I hate this game.” It isn’t the first issue that the streamer has run into with his fellow citizens of Los Santos, however, as he’s had streams plagued by cars disappearing, re-appearing, and even trying to fly across the map to kill him. Yet, summit has never quite perfectly timed a GTA RP fail of his own quite like this one. Maybe next time he’ll be a bit more cautious of taking a victory lap before he’s pulled off his end goal.

Summit1g hilariously trolled by jumping player on Apex Legends – Dexerto
Summit1g hilariously trolled by jumping player on Apex Legends summit1g, TwitchPopular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar has pulled off some epic victories already on Apex Legends, but one player stopped him from getting the final elimination with some hilarious dodging. The streamer, who was well-known for his deadly aim on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, was left laughing at the end of a strange play. Having spotted an opponent in the distance, he looked set to pick up the game-winning elimination until he experienced something he might not have seen before in the game. Summit zoomed in on the player and was focused, looking like he was about to seal yet another victory on the game after moving over from Sea of Thieves. The enemy seemed to be looking away from the streamer at first, but managed to evade many of his shots with impeccably timed jumps to complete a hilarious escape. Summit’s team went on to pick up the win, but he couldn’t help laugh about it afterwards. “Whattt?” he screamed, after missing several shots. “That guy jumped three of my shots in a row! Un-fucking-believable man.” It isn’t the first time that Summit had problems with his aim on Apex Legends, though, after taking up to 19 shots from point blank range to eliminate a player just recently. So, was the jumping tactic pure skill or should Summit have killed them?

Summit1g hilariously forgets to end his stream “It could have been worse dude, I could have been getting naked” – Dexerto
Summit1g hilariously forgets to end his stream “It could have been worse dude, I could have been getting naked” Twitch: Summit1GTwitch streamer Jaryd ‘Apex Legends for four hours, Summit finished up his February 17 broadcast in his usual fashion, thanking everyone for tuning in before biding them farewell and playing his outro video. However, he didn’t actually go anywhere and left his stream on for all to see – while he sat not knowing that he was still broadcasting. While his face cam was switched off, viewers were still privy to what was being watched on his monitor. After realizing his stream was still live after viewers continued to talk in his chat, Summit said: “Hey chat, ermm, I forgot to hit the end stream button. I mean, it could have been worse dude, I could have been getting naked right now. So let’s just relish in the fact that I didn’t.” The long-time streamer once again wished his chat farewell, adding: “So, you guys have a good one,” before actually turning off the broadcast. As Summit pointed out, he could have been doing a whole host of other things – some that may have even landed him in trouble with Twitch. There have been a number of streamers, who in the past, have left streams running and ended up broadcasting some serious NSFW material. However, the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player won’t be joining that particular list as he got away with watching a YouTube compilation video about Fortnite fails.

Summit1g shares hilarious reason for not returning to CS:GO anytime soon – Dexerto
Summit1g shares hilarious reason for not returning to CS:GO anytime soon Streamer Jaryd ‘Fortnite because of the RNG (Random Number Generator) aspect that rewards luck and can take away from skilled players. While he’s attempted to take on CS:GO’s competitive scene in the past, he won’t be returning any time soon – as he tries to avoid his fiery history with the title. Summit posted to Twitter about missing ‘real competition’ in video games where RNG wasn’t a big factor and 5v5 remained king – essentially describing CS:GO. Yet, after Scott ‘SirScoots’ Smith pointed out that CS:GO was the game he was looking for – the streamer revealed the hilarious reason why he won’t be exploring that option again. He hilariously replied “I burned myself out on cs ;),” referring to the iconic incident where, while playing for Splyce at DreamHack Austin 2016, he died to his own Molotov. That moment which has since become a meme that has stuck with Summit – even finding it’s niche as chate emote in the past. Summit has dabbled in CS:GO since his hilarious gaffe but never competed on the same level as before. The streamer most recently played for squads like Team Mythic and subtLe, alongside a number of fellow streamers, but never took his interest much further. Read More: Summit1g hilariously forgets to end his stream “It could have been worse dude, I could have been getting naked” – Playing with friends appears to be the level Summit will stick to in the future – considering he’s all burnt out on CS:GO.

Summit1g heavily criticizes Overwatch while wearing an ironic choice of threads – Dexerto
Summit1g heavily criticizes Overwatch while wearing an ironic choice of threads Summit1G / BlizzardPopular streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazaris no stranger to momentary snafus, but the streamer had a hilarious mismatch between words and wear on his stream that sent his chat into roars of laughter. Summit has enjoyed a successful life as a variety streamer, and is currently best known for heavily playing Sea of Thieves – but another reason viewers tune in lies in the streamer’s frequent comical blunders that has cemented the 1G as a meme. The streamer had some downtime during his game when a viewer asked him if he enjoyed Overwatch, seeing as he was wearing a shirt with the game’s logo, and the summit had much to say. “I do not play Overwatch. I actually hate that fucking game. I just can’t stand it. I’m all for teamwork and shit, but you depend on teammates [in Overwatch] too much for my liking,” Summit said. At that point his Twitch Chat exploded with crazed laughter at the irony of his comments, highlighted by the fact summit continued his critique of the game. “And I just can’t stand the fucking shields, and shooting through your own teammates shields, D.Va being an easy fucking character to play,” summit continued. “I don’t know many, I just hate that game.” When his chat finally made him privy of his gaffe he expertly tuned out the taunting, saying he’d happily run a red X across the logo to make it an anti-Overwatch apparel. Like many people, the streamer must have just picked any old thing to wear that day, but it didn’t stop the the moment from being a classic summit entry to the longline of funny mistakes.

Summit1g had a hilarious response to a potential Sea of Thieves battle royale mode – Dexerto
Summit1g had a hilarious response to a potential Sea of Thieves battle royale mode Summit1g / MicrosoftWhen Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar was asked the question about whether or not he liked the idea of an “announced” battle royale mode for Sea of Thieves, his reaction is just brilliant. After weeks of the popular streamer terrorizing players on the popular pirate game, he was finally on the receiving end of a stunt himself when a message from the chat led him to believe that a new mode was coming to the game. Thinking that he was clicking an announcement link from Microsoft Studios, he said: “Oh no”. But, what he found was not an announcement at all and he seemed very pleased about it, to say the least. Having clicked the link, the chat hilariously directed him to video of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley. “Oh, thank you fucking God” he said before breaking into laughter. “I have never been so happy to get rick rolled!” The prank was complete and Summit looked more than happy that it was just that – a prank. It’s fair to say that he doesn’t seem keen about the idea of Sea of Thieves jumping on the battle royale bandwagon and there’s nothing to suggest that Microsoft Studios will be going in that direction any time soon. Summit has been involved in many incredible Sea of Thieves heists in recent weeks, with one hilarious clip showing that he had escaped with a whole crew’s loot completely unseen and unscathed, using just a rowboat at the back of their Galleon.

Summit1G Has Flashbacks to Molotov CS:GO Incident While Playing The Last of Us – Dexerto
Summit1G Has Flashbacks to Molotov CS:GO Incident While Playing The Last of Us Streamer Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar has a very famous history of dying to molotovs in video games, and even when playing Last of Us was not safe from his curse. Summit1G’s death by self-inflicted and avoidable molotov damage is know so well known in gaming circles that it is actually called a ‘1G’ whenever any other streamer or professional player suffers the same fate. The origins of the now popular joke, which has become a meme of sorts, dates way back to Summit’s playing career as a semi-professional Counter-Strike player. Molotovs are particularly deadly in CS:GO, and Summit is certainly not the first to have died at the hands fireball inadvertently – but it was the manner in which he did that made it catch on. During the DreamHack Austin Open in 2016, Summit’s Splyce team were on map point against CLG, and after killing the final opponent all he had left to do was defuse the bomb to win the map. But as he approached the bomb site, he failed to notice the fire right in front of him, walking directly through it and dying. His team went on to lose the map and the series. Despite no longer playing professional CS, his curse still seems to follow him as a full time streamer, with his latest episode coming on critically acclaimed ‘The Last of Us’. Summit’s stream chat immediately lit up, spamming his ‘sumMolly’ emote, a subscriber emote made in homage to his apparent complete inability to be safe around molotovs in games. If you have never seen the original and best ‘1G’ moment, you are in for a treat.

Hacker attempts to hijack Summit1g’s Twitch stream during broadcast – Dexerto
Hacker attempts to hijack Summit1g’s Twitch stream during broadcast Twitch star Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar was hacked live during his stream, but he handled the whole situation about as best as you can do. Summit may be one of the biggest Twitch streamers on the platform, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t prone to hackers taking over his account. This might be one of the strangest hacking incidents we’ve seen as this one occurred while he was streaming to thousands of viewers. While the hacker didn’t ever get control over his broadcast, he was able to post some weird stuff on his account. Viewers first noticed a simple title change, and it was clear from there that something was up. “Look at my newest uploaded video, irys38 sends his regards,” read the new title, which signaled a problem to viewers and summit himself. While eating from a box of Cheez-It’s and hiding behind a table in Sea of Thieves, he was alerted by his chat and somebody off stream of his title change and hacking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZMQy8Wthaw He muted his mic and began to deal with the problem without going offline. While all that was happening, he did end up perishing in Sea of Thieves, but obviously, getting control back of his stream was much more important than potentially getting his hands on a rare Athena’s chest. The hacker did attempt to host another channel while Summit was live, but that was shortlived as Summit canceled it just as soon as it happened. The random streamer, Payo, did get notified of the host, so he was likely pretty happy when he saw it. He eventually had to go offline, but he came back not long after and went back to business as usual. Summit believed he showed information he wouldn’t usually have shown before thanks to his getting into VR, but handled it. He didn’t give the hacker much attention at all and quickly moved past it. He didn’t let ruin his day, which is always good to see considering how persistent trolls can be.

Summit1g gives his verdict on GTA RP x UFC rumors for NoPixel server – Dexerto
Summit1g gives his verdict on GTA RP x UFC rumors for NoPixel server Twitch, Summit1g / YouTube, ChapsAfter rumors about the UFC joining forces with NoPixel’s GTA RP server started going around, Summit1g responded with his thoughts during his August 19 stream. During an August 19 stream from GTA RP streamer Shotz, the streamer claimed UFC had been on the phone to discuss the NoPixel community’s VLC fight night scene, noting that they are “very interested” in the events. Vultur Lé Culturé Fight Club events are very much like the events put on by the UFC, with scheduled MMA fights located in an octagon and with virtual fighters. The Fight Club has had three events so far, with each ranging from five to six different fights and drawing huge viewership. Summit1g responds to UFC rumors Summit1g is one of the biggest GTA RP streamers on the server, along with xQc and a few others when they’re active. So, it’s no surprise he was asked about the rumors regarding the UFC being interested. When probed about how he felt about the potential partnership, he replied: “Well I’ve been a pretty big UFC fan for a long time, so it’s pretty crazy.” The leader of the 1G Squad continued: “You know what? The UFC pissed me off with the last fight cause I thought Sandhagen won, and the last VLC fight pissed me off cause I thought Soze won!” This was, of course, a reference to the July 24 UFC fight where TJ Dillashaw defeated Cory Sandhagen, as well as the August 13 VLC bout where Smokysloth‘s character Bovice Wilkinson defeated NoPixel admin Koil’s character Kael Soze by knockout. The streamer added: “So I guess it’s great that we’re just coming together” With this just being the beginning of talks regarding the UFC collab with the VLC fight club, we’re excited to learn more as it’s released. Maybe we’ll see Summit participating in one of these events soon, who knows.

Summit1g gives passionate response after receiving suicidal donation message – Dexerto
Summit1g gives passionate response after receiving suicidal donation message Veteran Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar had to take a break from his usual jovial personality on stream to address a concerning donation message, which hinted that the fan was possibly considering suicide. One of the benefits of being a popular Twitch streamer is seeing the donations pour in from viewers, often accompanied by a supportive message, but as many streamers will attest, these messages are not always easy to respond to. It’s true that livestreaming platforms like Twitch can be somewhat of a safe haven for lonely people, a place to join a community and interact, forming a relationship of sorts with a broadcaster – albeit a one-sided one. This can make some particularly loyal viewers comfortable in sharing very personal messages with streamers, either simply in the chat, or through donation messages. For a stream as popular as Summit1g’s, which never fails to pull in tens of thousands of viewers, often the only way for him to see an individual message is through tips. During his March 26 stream, Lazar received a $30 donation, in which the donator explained that “it was a hard night” and they were considering “[letting] everything go”, and even mentioned that they loved their daughter. Immediately showing concern, Summit1g attempted to reassure the donator that “not matter what the problem is, there’s always a solution […] especially if you have kids.” He continued, encouraging the viewer to reach out to friends and family, and not to bottle things up, and pleading with him to stick around and try to enjoy the stream. “I want to try to put a smile on your face, so just stick around for a little while, alright brother?” he said, “Stick around, ok Speadra? Chill here.” While this donation was almost certainly genuine, things are complicated for streamers due to the number of “troll” donations that are sent, falsely trying to portray serious issues to trick broadcasters into responding seriously. Other popular channels have spoken up about making ‘suicidal’ or ‘cry for help’ donations too, namely Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins who advised that streamers, while often happy to help, are not psychiatrists, and should not be relied on for help with mental health issues. Summit1g gets ultimate revenge against Sea of Thieves stream snipers – Dexerto
Summit1g gets ultimate revenge against Sea of Thieves stream snipers Twitch star Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar took the ultimate revenge against a group of stream snipers during a recent broadcast, sinking the entire crew’s ship on Sea of Thieves. Summit1g has been giving the pirate adventure game a lot of love in recent weeks, focusing virtually all of his streaming time on taking to the seas, raiding rival crews and stocking up on loot. However, the 31-year-old’s popular streams mean that he is a prime candidate to be targeted by stream snipers – something that appeared to happen during his January 3 broadcast. Summit and his crew drew near another ship that was moving strangely towards the end of the stream and it didn’t take them long to realize that they were being targeted by stream snipers (players that watch a stream and use the information from it to meet and interact or kill the streamer in-game). Unfortunately for the stream snipers, their plan quickly backfired as summit and his crew decided to attack them and sink their ship! As summit raided the opponents, he berated them for stream sniping: “You guys just ruined our fun by stream sniping. I don’t appreciate that, so now we’re gonna sink your goofy asses! “Time for the dumpster boys, good luck. So you found out it was us so the first thing you do is you pull up the stream? Really respectable dude, I like it.” Summit was killed shortly after, but nothing could save the opponent ship as he and his crew continued to attack them. Eventually, the ship ended up on the ocean floor. Summit has been trying to play under a different name and use a voice changer for his in-game microphone as a way to counter stream snipers, but it is virtually impossible to avoid them entirely if they are determined enough. Other top streamers, like Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Dr DisRespect, regularly fall foul of stream snipers while playing games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Blackout and they have often voiced their frustrations with the situation. Using an extended stream delay is one way of countering snipers, but many of the biggest broadcasters say that they then feel removed from their Twitch chat and viewers, making it hard to interact.

Summit1g gets ultimate revenge on Sea of Thieves trash talkers – Dexerto
Summit1g gets ultimate revenge on Sea of Thieves trash talkers Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar always provides his Twitch viewers with entertainment during his Sea of Thieves streams, but it’s fair to say that he doesn’t take kindly to other teams trying to make a mockery of him. The variety streamer made his return to the game earlier in the month and has since been doing everything from trolling other pirates with some hilarious artwork on their map, to hitting out at developers for PvP problems. However, during a broadcast on October 22, the former CS:GO player showed exactly what he can do in terms of player versus player action as he destroyed an entire crew in the blink of an eye. In what was spread across a ten minute segment during the live stream, summit courted another nearby Galleon before he was spotted right in his tracks by enemies and eliminated. Not only was he sent to the Ferry of the Damned, but the team also decided to trash talk him after killing him in the ocean.”What’s up bitch? Man, you stink” one said, just as summit’s character was taken down with a big pistol shot. Determined to get his revenge on the players, summit respawned and headed right in their direction. It’s not always easy to catch up with enemies after you have been eliminated in Sea of Thieves, as you respawn at designated outposts across the map, which could be quite far from the place you died. However, that wasn’t going to stop him. “We’ve got to teach these motherf**kers respect,” he said, before instructing his new recruit. “You just do your thing on the ship and I’ll do my thing off the ship. Linking up with his teammate, Smokey, Summit came full steam ahead as he fired a number of cannon balls in their direction, forcing their ship to slowly start to sink, before jumping aboard and providing his viewers with the perfect revenge play – taking out the whole team of pirates in seconds. To make matters worse for those on the receiving end of summit’s dominance, he jumped back into the water where they respawned and continued to fire shots at them, before they used the mermaid to escape. In probably the best way to seal this incredible revenge play, the streamer swam down to the depths, took all of their loot and traded it in for coins. It doesn’t get much better – or worse – than that!

Summit1g gets instant karma after claiming Tarkov map is “dead” – Dexerto
Summit1g gets instant karma after claiming Tarkov map is “dead” Twitch: summit1g / Battlestate GamesTwitch star Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar received some instant karma after complaining that Escape from Tarkov’s Shoreline map is “dead.” The ever-popular variety streamer has fallen in love with Battlestate Games’ realistic tactical shooter, focusing almost all of his broadcasting hours on the game. So much gameplay leads to a ton of epic and sometimes hilarious moments and Summit’s stream continues to deliver. This time, even the game itself seemingly turned against him after he called one of the maps dead. The streamer dove into some Escape from Tarkov runs on the Shoreline map during a usual broadcast on February 17 and found himself relatively alone. He struggled to find any other players as he ran through one of the central, and usually very populated, areas of the map and had to take a quick pause to talk to his Twitch chat. “Yeah, I’ve never seen a map so dead. What’s going on with this one?” said Summit as he stopped by a window in the map’s health resort. Just a few seconds later someone shot at him from out of nowhere, hilariously eliminating him after complaining that he couldn’t find anyone. Of course, stopping right in front of a window is never a good idea in Tarkov, but the timing couldn’t have been better. His viewers absolutely lost it with laughter, while Jaryd himself went through a mix of shock and confusion before accepting his ironic demise. Summit then decided not to play on Shoreline again, which is understandable given how quiet his run was and the manner in which he was eliminated. Although, he’ll probably pause to complain in a safer place next time.

Summit1g gets roasted by young Sea of Thieves player after a failed heist – Dexerto
Summit1g gets roasted by young Sea of Thieves player after a failed heist Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar has been enjoying the pirate’s life in Sea of Thieves, but the popular streamer’s antics went severely unrewarded leading him to get massively trolled, and eventually rage quitting the server. Sea of Thieves lets players take to the open ocean and live the life of a pirate that includes looting, stealing, battling over supremacy, and more. But in looking to make big pirate plays against young players, Summit was victim of a plan gone wrong in the worst way possible. Summit was in the process of tailing rival pirates but a few miscalculations led to prized treasure chests to slip away, leaving the streamer wide open to some bold words from the young marauders. “I want you to know that you’re bad at this game, and we already sold the Captain’s Chest,” the young opposing pirate said. “… I’m sorry bud. You tried.” The 1G had stashed himself under a few barrels on the enemy ship’s crow’s nest for quite a while, waiting for the opportune moment to make his move of stealing and leaving. Unfortunately he was spotted before he could pounce, eventually dying and being left completely unawares to his enemy’s position. Upon reviving, Summit had no choice but to watch his unstolen loot sail away, eventually being collected by the rival sea scoundrels. “The guy [was] five feet from me, bro. The guy [was] five fucking feet from me,” a defeated Summit said. The exchange was enough to get Summit out of the server, leaving him to contemplate all the time he lost in the failed raid.

Summit1g gets fright of his life on Sea of Thieves after dirty trick – Dexerto
Summit1g gets fright of his life on Sea of Thieves after dirty trick Summit1g, TwitchPopular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar has been tormenting teams all over the Sea of Thieves map for quite some time, but finally, somebody wiped the smile off his face with an insane cannon shot. Summit, who can typically be seen stealing chests and skulls from other players at sea, also has another very naughty tactic that he likes to use to humiliate his opponents. For those who haven’t seen his trick, he uses the circles on their map to create an image in the shape of a penis, before scurrying away. However – this time – there was no escape. The streamer was joking around with an enemy crew, jumping around their ship and taking them out one-by-one, before rushing over to the map to draw the penis on there. After thinking that he’d eliminated everyone on the ship and was safe to roam around, he ran from the Sloop’s Captain’s Quarters towards the cannons at the front before he was hit by a very unexpected surprise. Little did he know that another ship had pulled just to the side of a nearby island and was hunting him down. “Oh shit,” Summit screamed. “The original guy just hit me with the God cannon shot.” Their cannon sounded just as Summit completed his drawing on the map, but the timing of the shot was perfect as he ran towards the front of the boat and was smashed into by the cannonball – eliminating him instantly. Will this stop him from drawing on other people’s maps in the future? It’s unlikely but maybe next time Summit will make sure all enemies are dead before attempting to drop the ultimate humiliation on them.

Summit1g freaks out in GTA RP as Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs appears – Dexerto
Summit1g freaks out in GTA RP as Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs appears Twitch: chairhandler / Twitch: Summit1GJaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar was left stunned during a recent Grand Theft Auto V roleplaying stream as The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs walked into the same clothing store. Most prominently known for his time portraying Carl Grimes in AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead, 20-year-old actor Chandler Riggs has grown quite the following on Twitch as well, often live streaming new releases and old favorites. Jumping back into character while roleplaying in GTA Online is nothing new for the popular star, but in a March 26 session, Riggs unknowingly walked into the same clothing store as one of his all-time favorite streamers, Summit1g. Walking through the streets of Los Santos, Summit stopped into a local store for a few minutes to check out some new clothes. During his visit, a character dressed exactly like Carl Grimes appeared behind him. From his pants to his father’s hat and even an eyepatch, the resemblance was uncanny. “What’s your first name?” Summit asked. “The name’s Carl,” the other responded, sounding just like the actor that portrayed him. Accurate enough that it drew a laugh from the streamer, who seemed convinced it was just a good impression. After a short conversation, the character headed out again. “Someone’s gotta send that to him,” Summit joked, before being told by viewers in his chat, that the player was, in fact, none other than Riggs himself. Summit lost his mind, putting his heads in his hands and laughing at his missed opportunity to actually talk to the Walking Dead television star. “That’s not actually him, is it? That’s f***ing him? You gotta be f***ing kidding me dude,” he laughed. Meanwhile, on Riggs’ own Twitch stream shortly after, he too was stunned to learn that he crossed paths with one of his favorite personalities on the platform. “That’s hilarious. I’m lowkey freaking out. I’ve been such a Summit fanboy for f***ing ages, he expressed while watching the clip back. “When I was in Canada filming, after work I would just come home and watch him play NoPixel [the most popular RP server],” the actor said. He added he “probably wouldn’t have joined the server if [he] wasn’t introduced to it through Summit.” A memorable moment for both Summit and Riggs, they were clearly left stunned by the random encounter while casually roleplaying on the popular GTA server. While the two happened upon each other in GTA by complete chance, given that they’re both fans of one another, perhaps they’ll link up in the future for some more RP antics — maybe they’ll have a longer conversation next time too.

Summit1g left fuming after attempted PC upgrade goes horribly wrong – Dexerto
Summit1g left fuming after attempted PC upgrade goes horribly wrong Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar endured a hilarious streak of bad luck recently while attempting to upgrade his gaming PC with a beefy new graphics card. PC gamers are often switching parts in their custom builds and upgrading certain components as technology continues to advance. From flashy new RGB components to powerhouse processors, one of the more desirable aspects of PC gaming is the ability to customize at will. Popular content creator and former Counter-Strike competitor summit1g recently learned of the hilarious difficulties that can accompany even the most simple of PC upgrades however. Having purchased a powerful graphics card to bolster his gameplay, summit was left with a seemingly simple task of removing his old graphics processing units (GPU) from the case. Having opted for a dual GPU set up in the past – both of which were connected to individual liquid cooling units – it quickly became apparent that the streamer had amusingly underestimated the task at hand. Taking a great deal of time to simply get through the first step of removing the outdated parts, summit was far from happy upon realizing that his case was not going to accommodate the new upgrade. “It doesn’t fit,” he yelled as soon as he realized that his new graphics card wasn’t going to be a perfect match. “You wanna know why it doesn’t fit? Because whoever decided to make this beautiful case, this fridge-like case, this big hunk of slab metal” is actually the culprit. Intentionally designed in such a way as to hide a significant amount of the wiring throughout the case, the interior metal is amusingly the reason as to why his beefy new graphics card won’t fit. “It is a joke,” he expressed, detailing how the component won’t slide into place due to the case getting in the way. After much frustration and hours of hassle, summit updated his community and revealed that he had finally resolved the issue at hand. “We figured out how to get that stupid, worthless piece of metal slab moved over so that we can actually fit the video card.” Having clearly taken a toll on his morale, the streamer highlighted how “this was the most work [he has] ever had to put into replacing a video card. It took [him] two hours.” “Eventually slid the panel over after finding the screws on the back side,” the streamer shared after a great deal of frustration due to the one unfortunate aspect of the otherwise ideal PC case. Eventually slid the panel over after finding the screws on the back side. Still useless, fuck that panel. — summit1g (@summit1g) December 29, 2019 As this is likely the last time the streamer has to upgrade his build for quite a while, summit should be able to play smoothly at the highest qualities all while streaming to his viewers around the world: a worthy triumph after such a hilarious stroke of bad luck at first glance. This near-disastrous incident should serve as a lesson to all PC gamers. If you’re in the market for potential upgrades, take the time and be sure to measure your case before dropping hundreds of dollars on new parts.

Summit1g fires shots at Sea of Thieves community after collecting insane amount of loot – Dexerto
Summit1g fires shots at Sea of Thieves community after collecting insane amount of loot Summit1g / Microsoft StudiosPopular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar decided troll members of the Sea of Thieves community who brag about their loot exploits, showing off the insane amount of chests his team quickly stacked into their Galleon. The game’s subreddit is often littered with ‘loot shots’, which are screenshots taken by players proudly exhibiting the amount of chests they have obtained in a single session. However, not many amass as big a cargo as Summit and his team did, especially in such a quick amount of time. The Sea of Thieves subreddit apparently tends to ‘hate’ on anything either Summit1G or loot shot related, but the former CS:GO pro wasn’t very sympathetic to their complaints – pointing out that not many of the loot hauls that are posted are even impressive. “That’s all I see. You know how many things I see upvoted down that sub [reddit] where it’s like ‘look what I got today, look what I got today,’” Summit said, “It’s like you know, a normal amount of chests.” as he examined the overflowing room of loot on his vessel. Arguably the most shocking part about the collection of loot that they’d crammed into the captain’s quarters, was not just the insane amount of times he stole from other crews in battles, but that it was done in such a short space of time. “How long have we been in this server for, at least four hours?” Summit asked, to which his teammate confirmed three hours and 45 minutes. “World record for pace for sure. We have enough to fill the entire captain’s quarters almost.” Some crews can spend all day trying to put together a loot haul of that caliber.

Summit1g floored by crazy old man’s trash talking in GTA RP – Dexerto
Summit1g floored by crazy old man’s trash talking in GTA RP Steam / Rockstardifferent characters during each streaming session. Many people decide to play off on age-old stereotypes and where Eugene is concerned, a figure that could be likened to Grampa Simpson from The Simpsons in many ways, there was no way that he was going to let a “whippersnapper” like Summit1g take over his turf in Los Santos without a fight. Summit and his teammate ‘taco’ were speaking on the phone as he drove his way down Rockford Hills, before an older gentleman speeding around on his bicycle caught his attention – Eugene. As they drove past him, Summit shouted: “Hey Eugene, get out of the fucking road man!” He might have thought that it was the last they would see of the character, but even with a push bike as his vehicle, Eugene quickly caught up with the vehicle and confronted Summit on Eastbourne Way – claiming it as his own “turf”. Once the two players had settled their differences, and Summit admitted that he wasn’t tracking Eugene for an earlier robbery he was involved in, the conversation took a very different turn as they were about to part ways. “You will never understand what it’s like to fight in 39 world wars, you never will!” the player said, before being asked to name at least ten of them. Well, if his trash talk wasn’t already on another level, the way he quickly reels off a list of conflicts just seconds later was second to none. Although, we highly doubt that he fought in both the Battle of Hastings and the Clone Wars from the Star Wars prequels… Not everybody will be a huge fan of the mod, but it certainly does open up the doors to hilarious conversations like this that would never take place in the normal Grand Theft Auto Online mode and some fans just can’t get enough of Summit1g playing it.

Summit1g fan accidentally donates thousands of dollars to the popular streamer – Dexerto
Summit1g fan accidentally donates thousands of dollars to the popular streamer Popular streamer Summit1g couldn’t believe his eyes as one of his viewers donated over $2,500, only to later discover that it was completely accidental. Streamers on Twitch, especially the most popular, can make a very good living purely through streaming and entertaining their audience, with ad revenue, subscriptions and donations all contributing. Watching a stream is completely free, with no obligations, but many viewers choose to support their favorite channels in a manner of ways, traditionally through donations. There is no upper limit on these donations, and some lucky streamers have received upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from a single viewer. However, it is also notoriously common for viewers to later ‘chargeback’ large donations, essentially retracting their donation – after the streamer has already thanked and praised them in front of other viewers. Summit1g was initially muted after receiving such a large donation, but moments later took the time to thank the fan for what he said was probably in the top 5 of biggest single donations he had ever received. A few moments later however, the donator explained that they had initially typed $25, then changed it to $50, but accidentally ended left the 25 too, meaning it sent a total of $2,550. Thankfully, Summit1g was more than happy to cancel and refund the donation, instantly reversing the transaction. “That’s a fucking scary amount to accidentally donate”, Summit said, as he sent the money back to donator, who was no doubt panicking after realizing their error.

Summit finally breaks 1G curse with defuse amid flames – Dexerto
Summit finally breaks 1G curse with defuse amid flames Twitch: Summit1g/ValvePopular Counter-Strike: Global Offensive defuse amid Molotov flames. Summit1g is one of Twitch’s most popular variety streamers as he can be found playing everything from a number of battle royale titles, Sea of Thieves to thousands of loyal viewers. Yet, he got his start with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as he’s been able to pull off some stunning plays with the game’s signature weapon – the AWP. However, his time with CS has not been smooth sailing since he created the ‘1G’ meme, where he died to his own Molotov, back in 2016 during an attempt to play professionally. That joke has followed him ever since and he’s never been quite able to overcome it – until now. During his October 12 stream, Summit had been playing a number of CS:GO matches – including one where his team got humiliated an insane no-scope killstreak – before his attention turned to Train, where the infamous meme began. With his team taking the upper hand in the early goings, the streamer attempted to tack another round onto their lead with a retake of the B bombsite. He was able to pick up one kill before diving onto the bomb and starting the defuse. While one enemy had the smart idea to encase the bomb in flames, Summit held strong as the fire surrounded him. “I’m immune dude, I’m Summit,” he stated before completing the defuse and bursting into laughter. Even though he had sent his whole team into laughs with the comment, they were able to focus back up and finish up the map with a dominant 16-6 victory. Moving forward, though, Summit’s foes might want to reconsider their options when trying to douse him in flames as it appears he has become one with the fire.

Summit1g explains why Valorant is “bland” and “boring” to watch – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why Valorant is “bland” and “boring” to watch Riot Games/Twitch: summit1gVeteran streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar has shared his concerns about the watchability of Valorant as Riot Games’ new FPS continues to dominate on Twitch. With nearly a decade of streaming on Twitch under his blet, Summit1g is uniquely qualified to comment on games that may not be as watchable as others. His versatility as a variety broadcaster and natural gaming talent led him to being crowned as our streamer of the 2010s. Now, Summit has cast doubt on the watchability of Valorant, just days after he hit 200,000 concurrent viewers as a result of the beta drops that reward Twitch viewing. On April 17, during a bit of down-time with his viewers, summit began to explain his concerns about how much enjoyment audiences will get from Valorant. “I think the abilities are going to be its [Valorant’s] undoing,” the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player said. “If I’m being 100% honest, I think from a viewer’s perspective – I was thinking about while playing… it’s very slow and bland and [has] these stupid and boring chokepoints.” Despite viewers currently flocking to Valorant, summit indicated that he thinks this will dry up as the FPS ages, and the hype wears off. “It’s like checkpoint mid? Put a smoke down, put a smoke down,” he continued. “Put a smoke down. And then it’s like one big hit, kinda like Overwatch. I’ve also realised there’s not a lot of crazy cool moments where you’re watching somebody and getting hype about him getting a 3k… I just don’t know if it’s gonna be as competitively fun to watch for a viewer.” Summit’s concerns may be new to Valorant, but similar issues have arisen in the past with different titles. For example, there have long been questions around the viability of competitive Fortnite, with many arguing the generally defensive play styles to do not translate to entertaining viewing. A lot will probably depend on how willing Riot are to make changes their existing formula, as well as how they respond to wider community feedback as more players get their hands on it.

Summit1g explains why he might stop streaming GTA RP – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why he might stop streaming GTA RP Summit1g / Rockstar StudiosGrand Theft Auto RP for quite some time on his Twitch channel, but it looks as if his stint on the game will soon come to an end. The popular Twitch streamer, who has over 3.8 million followers on the platform, decided to drop both Sea of Thieves and Apex Legends from his streaming schedule back in March, opting for the world of GTA. However, he has dropped his biggest hint yet about potentially being burnt out from playing the fictional roleplaying experience. It looks like he could be about to change games again. Summit1g losing interest in GTA RP For those who aren’t aware, GTA RP is a multiplayer modification that has surged in popularity on Twich, allowing players to take on character and persona to act out their own story in the Rockstar game. Yet, it seemed like Summit1g had finally exhausted all options in GTA RP during his April 24 stream, talking briefly about not wanting to do anything on the game. “How do I explain this feeling? I don’t feel like doing anything today on [GTA] RP,” Summit said during his livestream. “Not even a heist right now, no. Not in the mood for a heist either. I’m debating with myself.” What game will Summit1g stream next? The streamer sat there for a few moments before deciding to exit the game and return to a survival game that he’s played on stream in the past, Miscreated. Whether or not that opens up the door for Summit1g’s return to the world of looting pirates in Sea of Thieves, or even Apex Legends, remains to be seen. Clearly, though, it looks as if his time streaming GTA RP could be coming to an end in the near future.

Summit1g explains why Tfue ‘can’t take any chances’ with FaZe Clan contract – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why Tfue ‘can’t take any chances’ with FaZe Clan contract Summit1g, Twitch / Banks, InstagramCS:GO streamer joins a long list of high profile Twitch streamer to have weighed in on the debate, and he seems to be siding with the popular Fortnite Battle Royale professional player. Irrespective of claims from FaZe Clan’s Ricky Banks, who suggested that the company has only taken $60,000 from Tfue since he first joined, Summit1g says that even if they don’t have bad intentions, there is still a legal issue with his contract that could harm him later down the line. “It doesn’t matter,” Summit1g said, responding to suggestions from FaZe that Tfue has been keeping a large percentage of his earnings to-date. “The point is he has a contract signed so he can still get that taken from him later.” “Brand deals featuring the gamer that exist on gamer or company’s content creation platforms or social media sites. If the deal is brought to the gamer by company, 20 percent to gamer, 80 percent to company. Don’t tell me it’s the other way,” he said, reading from an official statement from the organization. (Timestamp at 7:45 for mobile users) “It is 80 percent company, 20 percent to Tfue. That’s how it’s written. That may not be their intentions, after he blew up, but if you’re in Tfue’s shoes you don’t take that chance right? You have to get out of that contract as quick as possible, now that you’re making millions of dollars.” FaZe Banks claimed that the organization had been trying to negotiate a new contract with the player for quite some time, during his reaction video, and Summit1g made it clear during the video above that he believes it would be in Tfue’s best interests to figure out a new deal, or – at the very least – “get the fuck out of that one.” Ninja and Dr Disrespect react to Tfue suing FaZe Clan Summit1g isn’t the only streamer to have commented on the legal battle, by the way. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins and Dr Disrespect have also given their take on the situation, with Ninja explaining that Tfue would never have been able to compete at events such as Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem‘s Friday Fortnite tournaments, without being associated with FaZe. Dr Disrespect also offered to put Tfue in contact with “his people” to find a deal that suits him more than the one he is currently tied to with FaZe Clan. Whether or not anything will come from that offer in the future remains to be seen.

Summit1g explains why he won’t be returning to GTA RP full-time – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why he won’t be returning to GTA RP full-time Twitch: Summit1g/Rockstar GamesPopular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1G’ Lazar has explained why he won’t be making a permanent return to GTA RP despite the fact he’s still dipping in and out. Back in March of 2019, GTA RP returned to popularity on Twitch as many big streamers decided to try their hand at roleplaying. The PC mod for GTA V allows players to take a character from the streets of Los Santos and mold their stories through interactions with other players and, of course, the rules of the server. One of the more popular characters that sprung up was summit’s Charles Johnson – also known as Chawa. Though he left the game for a little while, playing Escape From Tarkov amongst other things, he has since returned to have fun on the mean streets of the virtual world. However, he isn’t going to make it a full-time thing. During his February 24 stream, the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player was getting set up to race against some fellow roleplayers when one viewer offered him some advice about potentially causing mayhem in-game. The leader of the 1G squad quickly laughed off their suggestion, explaining that GTA RP players are there to “share content” and not ruin it for each other. He also noted that he wasn’t looking to “step on anyone’s toes” because he’s pretty much a “guest” these days. “I just can’t do it for eight hours a day right,” summit said. “Stop by for a few hours, have some fun, you know and do your thing on something else. That’s where I’m at in the RP world at least for now. I think it serves as a really good nighttime special for people who have never seen GTA RP.” Of course, that’s not exactly music to the ears of his fans that really enjoy the GTA RP content but at least, for now, Summit hasn’t completely sworn off playing the game. Some fans might be hoping that he changes his mind and makes the multiplayer mod a more permanent feature, but the racing and gang adventures of Chawa are going to continue for a little while longer.

Summit1g explains why he’s switching main games on Twitch again – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why he’s switching main games on Twitch again Twitch/summit1gTwitch star Jaryd ‘summit1G’ Lazar has explained why he’s dropping Elder Scrolls Online as his main on-stream game and taking recommendations for something else. As one of Twitch’s most popular streamers, Summit keeps things fresh by switching up his ‘main’ game every so often – be it because a big new release has happened or because he’s grown tired of what he had been dedicating himself to. In the past, the leader of the 1G squad could be found playing hours upon hours of GTA RP or Sea of Thieves, but more recently, he’s switched his focus to Elder Scrolls Online. Though, after over three weeks of playing the popular MMO, Summit has revealed that he’s dropping it as his main game on stream and taking suggestions for something else to play. The 33-year-old tweeted the news out on August 2. “ESO is getting benched as a stream game for now. Gonna start looking at something different to play,” he said, adding that he’d be taking recommendations in the replies. Fellow streamer Richard ‘KingRichard’ Nelson noted that the game has “god tier potential,” but that the developers had taken a wrong step in their direction of the game. “Guess I don’t really know the differences of then and now,” Summit responded, before adding his reason for dropping the MMO as his main game. “All I know is it causes a rage that I can’t have anymore lol.” ESO is getting benched as a stream game for now. Gonna start looking at something diff to play. Feel free to drop suggestions. — summit1g (@summit1g) August 2, 2020 Guess I don’t really know the differences of then and now. All I know is it causes a rage that I can’t have anymore lol. — summit1g (@summit1g) August 2, 2020 Of course, the news that Summit will be dropping Elder Scrolls Online from his stream will, no doubt, disappoint some fans who have tuned in to watch him play. Though, the streaming star had noted that his chat had changed for the worse since playing ESO. Some fans would be eager to see him return to Valorant, GTA RP, or even Sea Of Thieves, while others would like to see something different altogether. Who knows, what Summit will end up dedicating himself to next.

Summit1g explains why he “needs” to return to GTA RP – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why he “needs” to return to GTA RP Twitch summit1g / RockstarTwitch star Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar has finally revealed plans to switch it up on stream and will be making a return to a fan-favorite, Grand Theft Auto RP. The American streamer has fallen in love with tactical shooter Escape from Tarkov and is rarely seen playing anything else during his broadcasts. However, he has finally decided to shake things up and will be bringing some more variety to his stream, revealing that he will be returning to Grand Theft Auto’s Roleplay servers – a game that used to be very popular with his fans. During his usual stream on Feb 13, Summit spoke about the state of his stream and how he hasn’t been following the tips he’s been giving out to new streamers, and will soon bring some changes. “What do I always tell you guys to do? Don’t get stuck in a video game. Nighttime streams, night games, switch it up. We don’t do that, right? We’ve been playing EFT and nothing but EFT” he began, before revealing his future plans. “I need to start doing more night games, and I really want to surprise everybody in the GTA world and just stop by every once in a while. Just for a few hours in the night, on really long sessions.” Many fans will no doubt be excited to see the return of Jaryd’s GTA antics, which usually see him get mixed up in hilarious situations or having unfortunate run-ins with the cops. For those who have not seen GTA RP in action before, it’s a special mode where players take on the form of their character and live out lives in Los Santos. Some choose to be law-abiding citizens, some daring lawbreakers, and others even choose the dangerous law enforcement life. Summit always chooses the fast-paced life of a lawbreaker and there’s no doubt fans will see him engage in illegal street races, battle the cops, and more, once he returns.

Summit1g explains why battle royale esports don’t work – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why battle royale esports don’t work Steam / Epic Games, Respawn, PUBGPopular Twitch streamer Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or Dota 2 matches. The former CS:GO streamer has been switching up the games he streams, after ending a long stint of GTA RP on April 24, and has seemingly been looking for some fresh ideas of what to play. After taking a look at some battle royale matches being played in the esports scene, though, he has taken issue with two key elements of the game mode. “After watching a tournament like Counter-Strike or Dota, I don’t understand how people like to watch battle royale tournaments,” the streamer tweeted on May 6. “A completely player controlled 1v1 environment on one end, and an RNG shitfest on the other. Just don’t get it,” he added. Yet, the streamer claimed that he would give it one last chance. Pubg is aight, but still the same rundown. Loot, camp, overcrowded/unpredictable end game circles, way less controllable situations no matter how good. Just not esport imo. For the record, much better watch than Fort. — summit1g (@summit1g) May 6, 2019 For fans wondering what game he’s going to be streaming next, though, don’t get your hopes up for Summit jumping into Erangel, Vikendi, or any other PUBG map in the near future – for that matter. He still seems to be undecided on that front and is trying out a variety of games. –

Summit1g explains why he hopes Sea of Thieves “dies” after new update – Dexerto
Summit1g explains why he hopes Sea of Thieves “dies” after new update Rare / Twitch: Summit1gPopular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar can be partly credited for the resurgence of Sea of Thieves streaming and perhaps boosting popularity for the game generally, but now says he hopes the game “dies” after bad decision-making from devs. Earlier in 2019, summit near single-handedly brought Sea of Thieves to mainstream attention on Twitch, inspiring many of the other big names on the platform to give it a go. He, along with all the rest, gradually moved away though, with summit1g turning his attention to GTA RP and World of Warcraft for a time, before making a brief return to the pirate multiplayer game in July. His return may be very short-lived, however, as the new ‘earthquake’ mechanic appears to be ruining the experience for the veteran streamer. While hiding on an enemy ship, attempting a sneaky raid, summit1g was randomly bumped from his hiding position by one of these said earthquakes, leading to his death as the crew onboard found him. After trying another game, but dying another equally frustrating death, summit eventually had enough and let out his frustrations with a rant at developers Rare. “Thank you Rare – you all fucking suck,” summit1g began, as he got up to take a break. “I hope that’s the last straw for your game right there, I hope your game is done. I hope it dies.” He goes on to blame the developer’s poor “decision-making”, presumably referring to the addition of the ‘earthquake’ feature, as summit describes it. It’s certainly not the first time that Lazar has lost his temper with Sea of Thieves, but some fans think it could be his last stint on the pirate game, as he quickly moved on to play Destiny 2 for the remainder of his July 3 broadcast. You can’t just add shit into your games, you also have to take stupid shit out. I just want some game devs to come around and actually impress me on decision making and not catering only to casuals. — summit1g (@summit1g) July 4, 2019 With somewhat of a drought in new releases over the upcoming months, it can be a challenge for variety streamers like summit1g to find new games to keep their fans entertained while keeping their own sanity intact too. Most major new game releases aren’t expected until Fall, meaning summit will need to find other ways to keep his stream fresh until then and, judging by his reaction here, Sea of Thieves might not be part of his plans going forward.

Summit1g continues recent success by hitting major milestone on Twitch – Dexerto
Summit1g continues recent success by hitting major milestone on Twitch Popular streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar has seen a massive popularity spike on Twitch over the last few weeks and it looks to have carried him to brand-new heights on the platform. While many have looked at Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ success on Twitch as one of the biggest stories over the last year, they may have completely missed a dark horse in the form of summit1g come out of nowhere. Even though Ninja once boasted over 200,000 subscribers on Twitch, the astronomical numbers were never expected to last and his numbers have predictably slid in the last few months. As Ninja was losing ground, however, summit1g was silently gaining on him to the point that he’s now hit a major milestone that few Twitch broadcasters have been able to reach. The former Counter-Strike pro turned full-time streamer has now crossed the elusive 40,000 subscriber mark, making it clear that Fortnite is not all it takes to reach success on Twitch. 1G’s in the chat for hitting 40k subs! Congrats SumSum :punch: pic.twitter.com/gfBJtnRMyO — Monster Gaming (@MonsterGaming) January 14, 2019 While subscriber counts are not made public by Twitch, some stat tracking sites, such as Twitch Stats, are reporting that summit has overtaken Ninja in subscribers altogether. These are in no way confirmed, however. As evidenced by Monster’s Tweet, though, summit has certainly broken the 40k mark in subscribers. This alone would be a feat in and of itself, but it becomes even more impressive when you consider the manner in which summit has reached this point. While Ninja’s game of choice is, of course, Fortnite, summit1g has most recently been heavily diving into Sea of Thieves. The pirate-themed adventure game came out in March 2018 and has allowed summit to show off his impressive skills in new and inventive ways. Somehow breaking personal records on the daily, thanks again for the support dudes. Insane. — summit1g (@summit1g) January 14, 2019 Whether it’s trolling his enemies or surfing on Megalodons or choking heists, summit is quite simply doing it all as the king of the Sea of Thieves directory on Twitch and it has paid off immensely. Ninja still holds a massive lead over everyone on Twitch in terms of followers at over 13 million (almost eight million more than the second place Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek), but summit’s feat is no less impressive to see given the game he’s dedicated his channel to of late. 2019 has just barely gotten underway and it already looks like we could be seeing a Twitch battle that rivals that of the infamous battle between ‘PewDiePie” and T-Series over on YouTube.

Summit1g defends actions on Sea of Thieves after being labeled “toxic” – Dexerto
Summit1g defends actions on Sea of Thieves after being labeled “toxic” Summit1G/RarePopular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1G’ Lazar has hit back at a report and claims that he was toxic on Sea of Thieves after breaking up servers where players wouldn’t interact in PvP. For the most part, playing Sea of Thieves can be a fun and enjoyable experience. You hop aboard a ship with a friend or two and sail the seas in hopes of completing quests picking up loot that you can sell on. However, there are plenty of players who try to ruin that – typically through bombarding your ships with constant attacks. As a streamer, Summit has dealt with his fair share of this too, but he’s been able to fight back. Previously, he’s put people on blast on Twitter for not playing the game the right way, and while he hasn’t played Sea of Thieves for a while, he’s come under fire for his previous behavior. Summit’s supposed “toxic” behavior was highlighted in a recent article after streamers quit the game due to harassment from other players. As he started up his October 4 stream, the leader of the 1G squad fired back – tearing into how some players aim to keep servers to themselves in a bid to farm coins. “Motherf**ker, you don’t talk about how they get those servers going in the first place – on Discord, through harassment themselves. They will stomp a ship out until they leave the game and get on their ship, you feel me? They don’t talk about all that stuff though,” he said, addressing the article. He turned his attention to the players who try to ruin these servers, adding: “Then, they sit on their servers where it’s supposed to be a give and take experience, pirates that take, and pirates that find, and it’s a big circle of we need each other but they sit in their circlejerk farms avoiding all aspects of fear.” Summit added that playing like that is “not how the game should be played” so after those players took things to Discord in a bit to communicate and organize, he and his pals used “streamer benefits” to find out about them, as well ultimately infiltrating the servers. He added that he’d never verbally abuse anyone in a racist or sexist way, but just trash-talked if someone else started on him.“We’d only talk s**t if they talk s**t, we’d only give it if they gave it,” Summit continued. “And if they’re giving it, they’d take it. They’re fine, they’re big boys, but what we’re talking about here is ridiculous. So, I just don’t understand why it’s a bad thing for one side to do it but not a bad thing for another side to do it.” Plenty of his fans and Sea of Thieves players backed Summit’s cause to frustrate the players who keep servers to themselves in a bid to coin farm. The game has undergone plenty of changes in recent months, but it’s unknown if he’ll return to it on a full-time basis as he once did.

Summit1g comes home to a surprise in GTA RP – Dexerto
Summit1g comes home to a surprise in GTA RP summit1g, TwitchJaryd ‘Grand Theft Auto RP on Twitch, but nobody could have expected to see what was happening in his house when he got home. GTA RP fans will know that you have to keep your eyes out for weird things across Los Santos and nobody knows that better than summit, after forming one of the NoPixel server’s most wanted characters in Charles Johnson. However, after letting his guard down for just a split second during a broadcast on August 18, he was given quite the fright. Summit1g had a rough start to life as a police officer in GTA RP, but what was waiting for him at home certainly cheered him up. The former CS:GO player tried his hand as part of the police force for a while on stream, getting involved in car chases and tracking down other players, but his previous history with criminals soon caught up to him after he got home. Read More: Alien invasion coming soon to GTA Online? – After opening up the door to his house, it was pretty clear that he wasn’t alone as the sound of odd noises were echoing through his home. You guessed it, two players were having a good time in his bed. “Unbelievable. How did you guys get into my f*cking house?” he said, but they were pretty adamant that this wasn’t a one time thing. “Surprise! We’re moving in. We’re here to unload your balls.” They claimed to have always had keys to the house, so it’s impossible to think of how many times the intruders had actually came in uninvited. Just a few moments later, they all left together and picked up summit’s impounded Subaru vehicle, which set him back $1,500. It just goes to show that players in GTA RP might think they’re safe, but when somebody has keys to your home, you never know what’s waiting right around the corner.

Summit1g comes up with a new way to troll enemies in Sea of Thieves – Dexerto
Summit1g comes up with a new way to troll enemies in Sea of Thieves Summit1G / Microsoft StudiosIn his long line in Sea of Thieves adventures, Summit1g might have accidentally found the perfect way to stow himself on a rival’s ship by using an all too literal form of “hidden in plain sight.” Sea of Thieves is a pirate simulator that gives players a platform to pillage, raid and survive in its open seas shared with multiple competing scalawags on the hunt for the best loot. To be successful a player needs to be quick, cunning and daring, or play against oblivious people. Summit1g and his crew were at the tail-end of a prolonged ship battle when the streamer had enough of the flashy engagement and decided to do some covert-ops aboard the hostile Galleon. At first attempt, the streamer was caught on the ship’s ladder which prompted the inhospitable crew to chase their unwelcome guest. After a prolonged chase through the multiple tiers and rooms of the ship, Summit slipped from his foes’ line of sight and ended up topside against the mast near the ship’s helm. He activated the Sleep Emote which laid his pirate on the floor, vertically aligned to the base of the sail. What ensued was a hilarious game of cat-and-mouse, with the mouse sitting idly by as his pursuers came into view frantically looking for the stowaway, blankly staring out into open ocean, and passing by a still Summit multiple times. The streamer was in confounded disbelief throughout the scene and was eventually found out just to be promptly dispatched of but not before adding to his dense pirating highlight reel.

summit1g has meltdown over Escape from Tarkov’s UI – Dexerto
summit1g has meltdown over Escape from Tarkov’s UI Battlestate GamesWhile playing Escape from Tarkov, popular Twitch streamer Summit1g lost it at the game’s convoluted weapon loadout system. Escape from Tarkov is a first-person shooter game developed by Russian studio Battlestate Games, it was released in 2016 but is still technically in development, with more updates and content still to be added. Even though the game is still technically in development, it’s still available to play and Summit seemed to be getting into it, until he ran into a problem loading out his character’s gear. What made Summit lose it? The streamer became frustrated after not being able to find the right slot on his weapon to add a certain attachment to. After some trial and error, he eventually found that the attachment had to go with another weapon add on, and not on the weapon itself. “I’m gonna freak out, I’m gonna freak out, ok,” Summit lamented as he tried to figure it out. “There’s something wrong here, it goes on the dust cover. Chat really?” The streamer complained there was no way to tell how the attachment would fit on the weapon and no indication it should be combined with another attachment. “It goes on the dust cover, chat, realistically, does this dust cover look like anything could attach to it?” The streamer asked. “I mean come on, where is it even attaching? It’s just a round surface!” Summit kept playing Escape from Tarkov after the loadout frustration. Escape from Tarkov aims to create a more realistic Battle Royale experience than other games, like PUBG, so it’s no surprise it’s immersive environment caused some confusion for the streamer. On top of that, Summit has only really gotten into Escape from Tarkov in the last week, so a little confusion in such a complicated game is probably to be expected. Escape from Tarkov can be a challenge for new players to figure out. As Summit continues to play the game he’s sure to run into more confusing situations, since Escape doesn’t really seem like the kind of game to hold player’s hand and show them how to do everything. Based on how much time the streamer has put into the game over the last week (more than 45 hours since Sept 9) there’s a good chance he’ll stick with it, no matter how confusing it might get.

Summit1g calls out rogue GTA RP police after making huge discovery – Dexerto
Summit1g calls out rogue GTA RP police after making huge discovery Summit1g, Twitch / RockstarGTA RP’s police force has been put on blast by Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ lazar after the streamer found something very surprising when replaying a getaway clip just moments after he escaped. After finding himself in a sticky situation, the popular Twitch streamer’s character Charles Johnson was holding two officers hostage as leverage, to allow them to escape from the cops. However, just moments after having a gun to their heads, summit noticed something very interesting about how they handled the situation. GTA RP’s police force have been questioned by summit1g. The former CS:GO streamer was shocked to find that despite having a pair of their teammates in a position to be killed right then and there, the police shot first. Now, without turning this into a Star Wars-esque discussion about who should have shot first in this particular situation, summit1g was shocked. “That’s so ridiculous. Why did they start shooting that early? I think that was a little early.” he said. “The guy was still cuffed right next to us. I could have just easily been like ‘OK, I can shoot this guy now. Alright.’ What the fuck.” Just a few moments later, he went back and checked out the gameplay for a second time and discovered that in trying to take out summit1g and his teammate, the police were so desperate to hit their target that they actually fired at their own men. He explained: “I’m holding the gun on him right there, then they start laying into us. He’s getting hit. Look how bad they want to fucking hit the shots. They don’t give a fuck. They’re shooting their fucking friends.” As you can see in the clips here, the players that have taken on police roles in GTA RP were recklessly firing at those they wanted to catch as part of the chase – even if they hit their own officers. “I feel like if you actually cared about that cop’s life, it would turn into a chase and then you shoot us,” he added, suggesting the police didn’t really consider that they could have murdered their own officers. Whether viewers agree with summit1g or not, there’s no doubt that the players inside the NoPixel server are supposed to take on the role of characters we would see in the real world. Are the actions of the police going to lead to imprisonment in-game? It remains to be seen, but there’s definitely a case to be made.

Summit1g can’t believe how hilariously bad his aim is on Apex Legends – Dexerto
Summit1g can’t believe how hilariously bad his aim is on Apex Legends summit1g, TwitchPopular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar swapped Sea of Thieves for the new Apex Legends game and he couldn’t believe how badly his aiming has deteriorated over time. Summit, who is well-known for his Counter-Strike: Global Offensive exploits, decided to give his viewers something different when he tried out the new free-to-play title from Titanfall’s Respawn studio. However, nobody could have predicted just how embarrassing one of the streamer’s first performances would turn out to be. After his teammate JoshOG was knocked down, he quickly called out the location of the player – expecting Summit to rush in and save the day with his pistol. “Guy behind me, guy behind me” he said, before being eliminated. Summit spotted the enemy and had the high ground, which – you would think – would make it easier for him to pick the player off. “Bro, full potato!” he shouted, after being mocked by his squad for missing a few shots. “He’s running like a ninja bro!” Summit joked. Not many people would have expected it to take not one, not two, but nineteen shots from point-blank range for him to pick up a single kill in this hilariously bad play. Summit might gain a lot of attention from this shooting gaffe, but he’s not the only high-profile streamer testing the game at the moment. In fact, Dr Disrespect has already found a hilarious new way to use grappling hooks in the game and shroud has also been discussing the impressive weapon recoil features too. With hype building for the game right now, the Apex Legends’ developing team Respawn has laid out its objectives for the next 12 months and it’s fair to say things look really exciting for fans.

Summit1g calls out Escape from Tarkov devs to update game – Dexerto
Summit1g calls out Escape from Tarkov devs to update game Battlestate games / summit1gPopular Twitch star, Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar, called for the popular first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov to get some major updates after a ridiculous death in-game. Summit1g is known on Twitch for showcasing a wide variety of unique games on his channel, such as his time on GTA roleplay servers which has led to many highlight moments. In September, the Twitch star has been broadcasting his gameplay on Battlestate Games’ popular FPS, Escape From Tarkov, although his experience so far has not gone as smoothly as he would’ve liked. Summitg is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, with over 3.9 million followers. Escape From Tarkov is a first-person shooter game developed by Russian studio Battlestate Games, it was released in 2016 but is still technically in development, with more updates and content still to be added. Just seconds after summit had picked up a kill in-game, he found himself lagging before being shot around a corner, prompting him to call out the developers to release their long-awaited 0.12 update. “What, come on bro! One, I lagged. Two, I was behind the wall Three, suck my d*ck Tarkov.” Give me .12 already let’s go!” the streamer demanded, eager to leave the 0.11 patch version behind. He then followed up, expressing that he wouldn’t be able to wait for updates, as some hardcore fans of the game have, “How long do we have to f***ing deal with this? It’s killing me, I’ve dealt with it for two weeks, how do people do this for years?” As the games last major patch was back in early 2019, many fans have been eager for the 0.12 patch however in a recent post, developers had revealed that it was likely to take place in mid-October. There has been no official date confirmed for the release of the 0.12 update, however, with summit1g putting pressure on the developers there might be more news soon to follow. It’s not the first time he has vented his frustrations towards the FPS game, as he recently slammed the game’s UI for weapon loadouts.

Summit1g burns alive yet again in epic GTA RP race fail – Dexerto
Summit1g burns alive yet again in epic GTA RP race fail Summit1g, TwitchJaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar has built up quite the reputation for hilarious car crashes in GTA RP but this one might be the best of them all, after his vehicle burst into flames right in the middle of a race. The popular Twitch streamer’s character in the NoPixel server has ran riot for quite some time, after completing a number of amazing bank heists and other adventures with other players. If there’s one thing that doesn’t change about Charles Johnson, though, it’s his terrible skills at the wheel, but that wasn’t really the reason why this race failed during a live stream on August 26. Summit kicked off with a hot start in the race, breezing past a number of other drivers to storm in front, but it turns out that taking a pitstop at a gas station was the worst possible move. “OK, real good start for us. Let’s get it brother,” he said. As he turned right and slowly approached the station to fill up his vehicle, without even touching any of the gas tankers – at least not visibly – the car was blasted into smithereens by an unlikely explosion. As the character flopped up and down on the floor, the former CS:GO player couldn’t believe what had just happened. After all, none of it was really his fault. He simply moved into the gas station looking to fill up the tank and boom! “Did we hit it?” he said just after his car went up in flames, wondering whether or not he caused the problem. “I didn’t fucking hit it. Ughhhh. What the fuck? Oh my god.” His teammate suggested that it might have been a problem with the gas on the outside, although it’s difficult to say due to how fast the whole thing unfolded. While they might not have realized what the problem was here, there’s no doubt that summit will think twice before taking a swift pitstop next time he’s in a race.

Summit1g brutally roasts fan who tried to spoil Avengers: Endgame – Dexerto
Summit1g brutally roasts fan who tried to spoil Avengers: Endgame Twitch: Summit/MarvelPopular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar became irate with a donating viewer, after the ‘fan’ sent their donations with Avengers: Endgame spoilers attached. Summit has long been one of the most popular streamer on Twitch, currently sitting at just under 4 million followers on the streaming platform. On April 27, while streaming Miscreated, he was angered after one viewer intentionally tried to ruin Avengers: Endgame for other viewers. The ‘fan’ donated to Summit, resulting in their comment appearing on screen with their donation, meaning the Endgame spoiler was in full view of the watching audience – a deliberate attempt to sabotage one of the biggest movies of all time for other viewers. 800The fan was quickly banned and Summit returned to normal streaming, but not before he aimed a few choice words at the viewer in question. “I’ll never understand why people it a necessity to be an asshole,” he said. “It’s super weird. Weird motherfuckers in the world, you know.” He also went on to say that people who do things like that “have nothing else in their life” and that he finds their obnoxious behaviour “weird as shit”. Spoilers for Endgame have become something of an issue in the Twitch community, as stream chats are easy places for people to share comments. Many streamers, including Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, have even vowed to have their moderators ban viewers who share spoilers in Twitch chat. “I think if someone intentionally spoiled a movie for me that I really wanted to see in real life,” continued Lazar, “I’d probably punch them in the mouth.” Summit, like many other Twitch streamers, clearly feels passionately about the whole event, and is keen to keep his chat as spoiler free as possible.

Miscreated players hilariously trolled by Summit1g after switch from GTA RP – Dexerto
Miscreated players hilariously trolled by Summit1g after switch from GTA RP ReproductionJaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar swapped Grand Theft Auto RP for Micreated during his April 25 Twitch stream, leading to one of the funniest encounters he’s broadcasted in quite some time. The popular streamer opted to play Miscreated ahead of H1Z1 as he believed he could find more players across the map, and he wasn’t far wrong. In fact, one player just kept coming back for more and it was a familiar voice (or face), too. What happened? Summit1g came across a player who he has encountered on GTA V on a number of occasions in the past, going by the name of ‘Taco,’ alongside his teammate in the middle of an open space. Summit1g spotted Taco and his partner in the distance, running through a field of long grass, before he decided to take a shot at one of them who had stopped still. He sprinted over to the harmed player, seemingly to offer some help. “Who shot you?” he asked, as blood poured from the enemy’s body. Moments later, Taco turned on Summit and was hilariously shot down with his Magnum, before the second player was brutally eliminated with an axe – as seen in the clip below. They didn’t stand a chance. The second meeting was very different However, the next time the two met, let’s just say that things were a little different. Just moments later, Summit came across Taco on a highway in Miscreated, this time without a partner in sight. “I’m going to need you to put your hands up,” Summit demanded. “Oh shit man, listen brother… I’m going to need your pants, alright. I need a new set.” As the streamer was the only one with a weapon in hand, a Magnum pistol to be exact, Taco quickly obliged to the request. With both using voice changers, it was clear that viewers were in for something hilarious from the outset. The streamer had one obstacle in his way, though, a barrier from a highway which the game just didn’t want him to cross for a brief moment. Once he jumped over, he collected the set of jeans from the player before letting him walk off into the distance, completely unharmed. Watch the full video! As is the case with many funny moments like this, sometimes it’s better to watch the whole thing play out. If you’re not one for snippets, soundbites and short clips, check out the full video below. Summit1g taking out the team: (3:12:00) – Summit1g taking his pants off: (3:20:00) – This isn’t the first funny moment Summit1g has created for his viewers on Twitch and it certainly won’t be his last, no matter what game he’s playing. Whether or not he will be returning to GTA RP, Sea of Thieves, or even Apex Legends remains unclear. But once he does, you can bet he’ll be one step ahead of his opponents.

Summit1g blown away by incredible gift from Twitch – Dexerto
Summit1g blown away by incredible gift from Twitch Twitch: summit1gStreamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar was stunned after he opened an amazing gift sent to him by the Twitch team, revealing an incredible handmade sculpture of him and anime character Naruto. Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player summit1g is hugely popular on Twitch, boasting a following of over 5.8 million on his channel. Having streamed for 8 years now, he’s managed to remain one of the most-watched broadcasters, and receives a lot of love from his many fans online – as well as from Twitch themselves. Twitch has been known in the past to surprise some of their most popular streamers with insane gifts. In November they surprised Pokimane, Valkyrae and xChocoBars with a backyard party with bathtubs full of gifts, and even a “meditation tent” with a movie projector inside. Jaryd was the latest person to receive a gift from one of his mods and Twitch staff member, Pluto, and the Twitch team, and it’s safe to say he was over the moon with the personal gift. Summit1g unboxes Twitch gift On stream, he read aloud the thank you card that came along with a rather large box. The letter said, “thank you. I know the only thing bigger than your head is your love for Naruto. Thanks for always being a trendsetter and an amazing partner on Twitch. Love Pluto, and your Twitch fam.” Read More: Joe Rogan praises GameStop stock madness – Already touched by the letter, he then moved on to open the box. Inside was a stunning sculpture, on top of which a model of him alongside Naruto stood. “Woah dude, what the f**k man,” he said, in awe at the intricate gift. Even better, the base of the sculpture lights up and fits in perfectly with the rest of his background. Summit’s sculpted model is also wearing a blue armband, which is dedicated to GTA RP streamer blue622, who passed away in July 2020. The sculpture was hand-sculpted and hand-painted by Christopher Notbusch who said “It was an honor for me to bring something like this to life.” @Twitch mommissioned this project for @summit1g as a gift. Summit1g remains in the top 20 most-followed streamers on Twitch, and is still a trendsetter on the platform. He’s also managed to stay relatively controversy-free, and unlike some of his counterparts, has never left Twitch for a competing platform like YouTube or Mixer.

Summit1g becomes sixth Twitch streamer to break major milestone – Dexerto
Summit1g becomes sixth Twitch streamer to break major milestone Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar has capped off an impressive run of streams by reaching an unbelievable milestone on Twitch. The popular internet personality has established himself as one of the largest streamers on the platform, consistently switching up the content on his channel. As far as high profile streamers go, he’s as straight up as it comes in terms of interaction with his viewers. He will play the games he wants to play, not what others want to see him grind through – and clearly this has been a recipe for success. The former CS:GO player has been on the cusp of reaching it for a while now, but his channel has finally surpassed four million followers on the streaming platform. It’s difficult to say precisely when the achievement was reached, but there are – as of November 7 – a few hundred people taking him over the impressive total. He is just the sixth streamer to reach this incredible landmark. During the course of the year, the leader of the 1G Squad has done everything that his fans might have expected and more. We’ve lost count of the amount of times he’s been involved in fire related deaths in games, reminding people of his infamous molotov death in competitive CS:GO back in 2016, and enjoyed the sheer variety of content he has treated fans with. He even pulled out an incredibly funny molly death in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare during a broadcast on its release date, which left fans in hysterics in the chat. In 2019 alone, possibly the peak of success for summit was his entertaining Grand Theft Auto RP streams, attracting around 40,000 sets of eyes to his broadcasts each time he went live. That’s not been all, though, as he almost single-handedly spearheaded a surge in Sea of Thieves content on Twitch back in January – causing the likes of TimTheTatman, Dr Disrespect and even Ninja to jump onto the pirate game, following his success. He often returns to the game, too, much to the delight of fans. Another tremendous series of streams for summit came alongside the launch of World of Warcraft: Classic, something the Doc said was taking players back to 2002 in a hilarious rant. With that being said, his streams generated a huge following during that time – encouraging him to stream right through the night on numerous occasions. Well, that and the fact he was loving the game. Now, with over four million followers to his name and a constantly growing fanbase, the sky is the limit for summit on Twitch – which remains the most established streaming platform around.

Summit1g blasts Sea of Thieves devs with PvP rant – Dexerto
Summit1g blasts Sea of Thieves devs with PvP rant Jaryd ‘Sea of Thieves on Twitch, but there are some issues that he would really like to see resolved in the near future. The variety Twitch streamer has built up quite the reputation for unbelievable player vs. player (PvP) plays in the world of high seas and skeleton pirates, but things haven’t always been going to plan after coming back. He took a moment to plead for changes from developers during his October 20 broadcast, after becoming really frustrated with some aspects of the current meta. Just like many others in Sea of Thieves, summit was playing alone and wanted to try to get on board a few different Galleons during the stream, which he did do successfully on a number of occasions. Although, there was a period of about 25 minutes during the livestream where he had a terrible time, getting destroyed by enemy crews that all wielded swords – and it wasn’t just the streamer that thought the weapon was potentially a problem for the game. His chat very much agreed, after seeing what was happening. “The f****ing meta in this game is unbelievable man. It’s unbelievable! How is the meta just hold W and left click continuously forever? Come on.” The speed in which swords can strike opponents in Sea of Thieves is much faster than that of a weapon and the damage, judging by these clips, appears to be a similar per hit – handing the enemy crew a huge advantage over the player. Once he had been eliminated once again, riding in the Ferry of the Damned, summit1g decided enough was enough and called out Rare directly. “It’s just the most unskilled, piece of s**t way to play the game. It’s crazy,” he said with his head in hands. “Rare, please, please… PLEASE revisit your combat. Please revisit your stupid f****ing healing materials, like please. It’s so f****ing disappointingly overpowered for the piece of s**t Galleons,” he added. “Just do something man! Piece of s**t f****ing meta.” Clearly things got a bit heated during this segment of summit’s broadcast, but those fearing him quitting the game shouldn’t be too worried. He carried on playing for a long time after these clips were captured. The former CS:GO player then posted about his frustrations to Twitter, where he – again – took his issues up with the game’s developers directly. Pls @SeaOfThieves fix your combat. The sword brain dead meta is awful, either show some love to guns which got mega nerfed or put sword where it was before. Solo/Duo players stand no chance against that right trigger Zerg.— summit1g (@summit1g) October 21, 2019 “Please Sea Of Thieves fix your combat. The sword brain dead meta is awful, either show some love to guns which got mega nerfed or put sword where it was before,” he tweeted. “Solo/Duo players stand no chance against that right trigger Zerg. There’s a chance that he might jump into another game in the near future, if Rare doesn’t respond with some sort of PvP update in due course. Even then, though, we’ll have to wait and see.

Summit1g apologizes to Lirik after calling him a “sellout” for streaming Atlas early – Dexerto
Summit1g apologizes to Lirik after calling him a “sellout” for streaming Atlas early Two of the biggest Twitch streamers got into a very public dispute on the platform, after Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar accused Saqib ‘Lirik’ Zahid of being a ‘sellout’ amid the launch of new game Atlas. Summit was angered by Lirik’s decision to stream before the game went live, simply broadcasting the main menu and attracting viewers to his stream, knowing that the game servers were unavailable. As is common on Twitch, new game drops are hotly contested for viewership, especially between popular variety streamers, and Summit was clearly not happy with Lirik’s tactic. However, Lirik hit back, saying “Have you never been a part of a game launch on Twitch? Everyone stares at the fucking menu […] There’s more hype around getting into the server than there is actually playing the game.” The pair continue to throw shots at one another on their streams, and Summit doubled down on his accusations, telling Lirik “show some content, do it an hour before. Why are you making it so blatantly obvious that you’re just trying to feed for viewers?” After finishing his stream though, Summit1g has now posted an apology to Lirik on Twitter, saying he “was being an ass for no reason. Was uncalled for.” I wanted to apologize for the way I acted today, I was being an ass for no reason. Was uncalled for. No excuses. @LIRIK — summit1g (@summit1g) December 22, 2018 Lirik has not yet responded, although with this apology from Summit it seems like the beef will be squashed. Before ending his own stream, Lirik told his viewers “Look man, if he wants all the viewers, he can have them, I don’t even give a shit honestly, it’s all yours man. I’m probably still going to have a great sleep tonight.”

Summit1g baffled as GTA RP fire glitch ruins his getaway – Dexerto
Summit1g baffled as GTA RP fire glitch ruins his getaway summit1g, twitchJaryd ‘GTA RP streams on August 22, only to find his amazing run of criminal activities halted by a very strange fire glitch. The popular Twitch streamer was involved in a number of high profile incidents on the NoPixel server, including gunning down other players, stealing and more. While his escape from the police looked seamless at first, things never ended well this time around through no fault of his own, as a terrible fire glitch struck him down. Once again, summit took to the Pacific Standard Public Deposit Bank at the heart of Los Santos and tried to steal as much money from the vault as he could. Read More: CS:GO player managed to escape unharmed. The main police chase took place on the roads, but the team hopped onto a boat and steered into the sunset, seemingly with everything gone to plan. However, once they touched back on land – at the Los Santos Naval Port – things started to unravel in the most unexpected way. “Watch the window up top, Rommy. The window up top, watch that,” summit1g told his teammate, before his Charles Johnson character was set alight and knocked down. A tanker had exploded downstairs but the flames spread upwards, instead of staying down as you would expect. He explained: “No, it blew up below us, so the fire in this game… There’s no fire levels. The fire that’s way down below us ended up burning us to death. No way.” The streamer later asked his viewers what would happen if a plane flew over a fire in GTA RP, which he said might actually destroy the plane even if it’s up high in the sky. Whether or not he’ll experiment that possibility in a future stream remains to be seen, but he was clearly deflated by what happened this time out. –

Summit1g almost burns alive in Hunt: Showdown after classic CSGO fail – Dexerto
Summit1g almost burns alive in Hunt: Showdown after classic CSGO fail YouTube, Twitch, @Summit1gTwitch streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar may have put his competitive Counter-Strike days behind him, but he still doesn’t seem to have a good relationship with Molotovs following his infamous “worst play of the decade.” Those who have been following Summit1g for a while may remember his time with professional esports teams A51 and Mythic, where he competed in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The streamer has since retired from competition, but that hasn’t kept him from playing games. In early 2020, the 1G leader earned the title of “Worst CSGO Play of the Decade,” referencing his firey loss to CLGaming in which he walked through his own Molotov, causing him to take 40 damage and lose the map, To this day, Summit is still affected by what is referenced to as the ‘1G Curse,’ where he sets himself on fire in various games. Winning by just 2%, @summit1g burning in the molotov against @clgaming wins the WORST @CSGO Play of The Decade! 🎉 CONGRATS pic.twitter.com/JPvxh0wg86 — kostya (@karpinism) January 2, 2020 With over six million followers on Twitch, the creator has maintained his interest in games over the years with titles like Hunt: Showdown, Splitgate, Rust, and Grand Theft Auto RP on the NoPixel server. The curse continues with a twist In an August 29 stream on Twitch, Summit1g decided to play Hunt: Showdown. The point of the game is to kill a mythical monster, get the bounty, and reach an exfiltration point. The streamer seemed to be accomplishing that pretty well. Jumping down from a set of stairs, Summit came into contact with an enemy monster – and the ‘1G curse’ showed its face again, haunting the streamer. After taking a few shots while backing up from the enemy, he proceeds to take out a Molotov Cocktail. Backing up from the monster some more, he throws the cocktail towards the monster. Unlike his infamous Counter-Strike clip in which he threw the cocktail and proceeded to walk through the fire, Summit threw the cocktail at this monster while being too close, and immediately set himself on fire. “I just f***ed myself up.” said Summit, who was able to put the fire out and regain life in the game. Whether or not this will be the last time Summit encounters the ‘1g curse’ is unknown, but he’s shown that he can at least get away from it once.

Summit1G apologizes for girlfriend’s statement on Anita’s Tourette’s – Dexerto
Summit1G apologizes for girlfriend’s statement on Anita’s Tourette’s After criticizing Sweet Anita and firing shots at Twitch directly, Jaryd ‘Summit1g’ Lazar and his partner ‘LilChipmunk’ have publicly apologized for their reactions. Sweet Anita is no stranger to the spotlight on Twitch as the streamer has opted to embrace her Tourette syndrome and face all of the public controversy that may come her way. A recent broadcast went viral after an uncontrolled outburst left Anita the target of much criticism. Fellow Twitch streamer LilChipmunk was one of the first to publicly lambaste Anita in a series of now-deleted Tweets. Following the controversy, however, both LilChipmunk and her partner Summit1g have come forward to express their regret, and apologize for their backlash. In a since-deleted Tweet, Twitch partner LilChipmunk responded to a recent outburst from Anita that gained traction on social media, arguing that she “should have some way to mute herself.” “How’s this allowed? I don’t care if she has Tourettes,” she expressed, directly calling out Twitch in the process for “promoting” her uncontrollable condition. Serving as the catalyst for a detailed explanation by Anita in her most recent broadcast, the streamer outlined the difficulties of publicly embracing the syndrome and facing backlash from other popular personalities. “People just don’t understand and sometimes that can be hard,” she described. “But rather than fixate on the negatives and fixate on the people being abusive, I’d rather use it as an experience that I build something positive from.” Backtracking from her initial reaction, LilChipmunk came forward on December 11 and issued a public apology to Anita and expressed resentment for the way in which she reacted. “I wasn’t in the right state of mind. I was emotional and didn’t think it through,” the streamer asserted. “Sorry to anyone I offended.” “You are right Twitter. I’m sorry [Anita]. I shouldn’t have said the things I said last night, I didn’t mean it. Being in the wrong or right state of mind is no excuse.” I’m apologizing for last nights actions… I wasn’t in the right state of mind I was emotional and didn’t think it through. Sorry to anyone I offended. — lilchipmunk ☁️ (@itslilchipmunk) December 10, 2019 You are right Twitter. I’m sorry @Tweet4nita. I shouldn’t have said the things I said last night, I didn’t mean it. Being in the wrong or right state of mind is no excuse. — lilchipmunk ☁️ (@itslilchipmunk) December 10, 2019 Echoing the sentiment of his partner, Summit1G further elaborated on-stream and was quick to double down on the apology for the way LilChipmunk initially reacted. “I just wanted to give an apology to Sweet Anita,” he sais. “I hope you’re doing okay through all the bullsh*t. You’re killing it on Twitch, keep it up and keep trucking through.” “I apologize if me or the girlfriend have caused any more bullshit than you needed to go through. For Caroline, she knows she f***ed up, and this is just gonna have to be something she grows from and learns from and I promise you that will happen. “She’s gonna learn from this and this is going to be a humbling experience for her. She overstepped and said stuff without thinking.” Clearly aiming to build from the regretful controversy, both LilChipmunk and Summit1G were regretful, apologetic, and appeared to be much more understanding of Anita’s circumstance having taken in the full context of the situation. Certainly not the first time that Anita’s uncontrollable tics have been the focal point of the Twitch community, it wasn’t long ago that the streamer overcame one of her most frequent triggers.

Summit1g airs his frustration with the current state of Sea of Thieves – Dexerto
Summit1g airs his frustration with the current state of Sea of Thieves Popular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar is back playing Sea of Thieves after temporarily stepping away from it following the release of Apex Legends – but he still has critical words to say about the swashbuckling adventure game. Summit1g voiced frustration with the monotony of the game, arguing that it doesn’t allow players to progress as quickly as it should. “We need voyages that are fun for people,” he said. “So that there’s loot out there to either be stolen, or to be dug up. Stop this seafarer chest shit. You should be digging up seafarer chests for two fucking days, and then upgrade after that.” Developers Rare have been criticized before by Summit, when he stated that there were not enough players on the servers to make the game enjoyable and that ghost ships are not a worthwhile addition to the game. He repeated his dislike of ghost ships, and went on to state that Sea of Thieves’ current in-game rewards for victory are insufficient, and not as satisfying as they should be: “90% of your ship battles should not be just to have a ship battle. It should be because they have stuff.” In Summit’s opinion, the open-world game, which includes the possibility of conquering other users’ ships, does not do enough to ensure players are given worthwhile prizes for their victories, and this renders success futile. “The most heart-wrenching thing that can happen in this game,” Lazar said. “Is me dumping on fucking ship after ship after ship, to go into empty captain’s quarters, after empty captain’s quarter, after empty fucking captain’s quarter.” He completed his rant with a direct message for Rare, declaring that they’re responsible for “the worst thing that can happen” in the game, and making it clear that he wants to see in-game alterations sooner rather than later.

Sueco claims Starbucks sent Cease & Desist notice after viral cup size TikTok – Dexerto
Sueco claims Starbucks sent Cease & Desist notice after viral cup size TikTok TikTok: sueco / Unsplash.com: Ricko PanMusic artist ‘Sueco’ says that Starbucks has purportedly sent him a cease and desist notice amid his claims that the coffee company’s cups are all the same size. On June 4, rapper ‘Sueco’ uploaded a TikTok that took the internet by storm. In his viral video, Sueco claimed that Starbucks’ different cup sizes (tall, grande, venti, etc.) are actually all the same size. The rapper poured a cup full of coffee in a tall-sized cup before dumping the hot liquid into two other cups of gradually increasing size. Click here if TikTok fails to load. The clip shows that the ‘tall’ sized amount of coffee even overflowed over the next size, appearing to hint that the next size up was actually smaller. Sueco’s video has taken over TikTok, garnering over 16 million views in just four days. It wasn’t long before the rapper returned to TikTok with a video that’s dropping jaws all over the internet… he says that Starbucks has sent him a cease and desist notice. The purported notice, which he showed in his video, claims that Sueco was “spreading fake, destructive, and defamatory rumors” about the company. That’s not all; the alleged notice also says that, if Sueco fails to comply with the C&D, Starbucks will “move forward with a full defamation suit” — which includes “a complete and permanent deletion of your social media accounts.” Click here if TikTok fails to load. Is Sueco Starbucks cease & desist fake? However, the entire ordeal might be faked. Further on in his video, Sueco claims he was interviewed by TMZ. However, the interview is nowhere to be found online, suggesting the company’s outrage over its ‘cup size scandal’ isn’t even real. Sueco’s claims about Starbucks’ cup sizes has already been debunked by baristas in another viral video — but his latest claims are adding another layer of confusion on this Grande-sized debacle.

Summit1g defeats Sea of Thieves Skeleton Ship without firing a single shot – Dexerto
Summit1g defeats Sea of Thieves Skeleton Ship without firing a single shot Summit1G/Microsoft StudiosJaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar is becoming well known for taking his already entertaining many other streamers have jumped on board with the game, but the long-time Twitch streamer remains at the top when it comes to the pirate adventure title. During his January 27 stream of the game, Lazar encountered a Skeleton Ship – a ship full of AI Skeleton enemies that provides a difficult battle for even the best pirate squads in the game. However, the ship was no match for 1g and his impressive accuracy. With his chat egging him on to battle the ship, Summit lined up his cannon, hopped inside and fired himself in the direction of the Skeleton Ship via a lofty trip through the skies. His ridiculous accuracy not only landed him on the ship but in the Crow’s Nest – a tiny piece of the vessel. The ship vanished into thin air due to Summit landing in the Crow’s Nest. Once a player enters the space at the top of the mast, the game recognizes the Skeleton Ship as defeated and despawns – even if you haven’t been able to claim any kills or the valuable loot on board. Luckily for Summit, as the ship despawned, the loot simply dropped off the vessel and into the ocean, waiting to be claimed. The streamer may have been able to turn those chests into sweet, sweet gold coins in-game, they don’t help with his quest to conquer Twitch. The long-time streamer recently joked about running his own ads promoting his channel, but only on one rival’s stream – Dr DisRespect’s.

Subway worker goes viral after sharing fake customer’s “messed-up” prank – Dexerto
Subway worker goes viral after sharing fake customer’s “messed-up” prank TikTok: prestonwalker__A Subway worker has gone viral after sharing how he fell for a fake customer’s prank — viewers dubbing the stunt as “messed up” and “devious”. According to a report by the UCLA Labor Center, the fast-food industry is an “economic juggernaut” in which workers face an array of challenges. So, it’s understandable that the last thing these employees want is for their time to be wasted. Nonetheless, that’s exactly what happened to this Subway worker as he recounted a “mess-up” prank played by a fake customer on TikTok. Preston Walker took to the social media platform moments after his shift at Subway was interrupted by the man’s “devious” plan. “A man just walked into our store and he handed me this paper,” Walker said, holding up a detailed order scrawled onto an envelope. The man then went outside to “smoke a cigarette real fast”, with Walker agreeing to get to work without asking for payment first. Having luckily started on only two of the six sandwiches, he was shortly afterward interrupted by a coworker who pointed out that there was “not one single man smoking a cigarette outside.” “We are 100% positive he came and pranked us and that is a f***** up ass thing to do,” Walker said. The TikTok quickly went viral, amassing nearly two million views. Reactions, however, were largely mixed. While some said it was “messed up” to go through “that much trouble” just for a prank, others claimed Walker should take the experience as a lesson. “I worked at Subway 23 years ago; I wouldn’t have even cut the bread until he was back in or I made him pay first,” one person said. Another commenter had a completely different response; “I watch too many movies because before he said prank, my first thought was [a] ghost.” It is unknown whether the man ever returned for his order. Subway worker literally brings receipts after customer complains – Dexerto
Subway worker literally brings receipts after customer complains TikTok: @Gothichippie / @noellelovesslothsA Subway employee made a formal apology video online after being called out in a video for making the wrong sandwich. One fast-food worker, part of the mega-popular “Subway” chain that specializes in making sandwiches, was shocked to discover that she had been called out on social media for giving a regular customer the wrong order. While there have been occasions of more confrontational interactions between workers and customers, like an angry teenager who got arrested for jumping over the counter to make her own burger, this subway employee decided to repost the video with an apology and explanation. Viewers respected and applauded the subway worker’s apology video and honesty, with other employees reassuring her that Subway “regulars” are the worst. Subway employee responds after customer complaint The customer complained online in a video, where they opened up the wrapping around their sandwich before being visibly upset, showing the offending ingredients to the camera: “Are you kidding me?! I asked for no tomatoes and no cucumbers, and what did they give me?” However, the employee who made her sandwich found the video where the customer was upset, and issued an apology and an explanation, as she quite literally recalled the receipt for the order that the customer asked for: “That’s what was on the receipt. I know that is not what you usually order, because you order a lot […] given, I should have called you, but with Subway receipts we just make whatever is on the receipt, so I thought maybe she is switching it up today […] I’m sorry.” While some could see the reason for the customer’s anger, “I also get irrationally angry when my food is wrong, not mad at the workers tho,” others applauded the worker for the apology video and claimed she did nothing wrong: “‘Should have called,’ noooo baby, you was doin’ your job.” But other fast food employees handle disgruntled customers a little differently, like a McDonalds worker who ignored customers at the drive-through if she thought they were being impatient.

The worker first gained attention over on Reddit, where a video showing the man stepping on sandwich toppings in his shoes sparked outrage from viewers. The internet is buzzing with comments about the sandwich artist, with many commenters finding the issue less than savory. Subway tip machine charges woman $7000 for footlong in sandwich snafu – Dexerto
Subway tip machine charges woman $7000 for footlong in sandwich snafu Unsplash: SzymonA Subway tip machine has caused quite the kerfuffle after it accidentally charged a woman a staggering $7000 for an Italian footlong sandwich. Subway has come a long way since its humble beginnings in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Now the submarine sandwich shop has become a fast food icon, with almost everyone having a go-to order for when they need something to nibble on. Part of Subway’s draw is not only the speed at which you get your food, but the prices being on the lower end too, making the chain more accessible than some of its competitors. However, its affordability wasn’t exactly a highlight for one Subway customer, who had found that the tip machine had accidentally charged them $7, 000 USD for their single sandwich order. According to the customer, they believed that the touch screen was to blame for the hefty price tag. Apparently whilst they were keying in their phone number, the screen had swapped to the tipping one, costing them thousands of dollars that have reportedly yet to be refunded. Vera Conner clearly wasn’t too happy about the value of their purchase, stating “I could have gone to Italy and got the sandwich.” Normally an Italian Subway sandwich would set you back around $7.50 USD, however, Conner was clearly confronted by a number thousands more than what they had expected. Originally receiving a denial from her credit card company when she disputed the charge, Conner is reportedly still yet to get the money back. According to WSB-TV, Conner’s bank is working with Subway to get this issue sorted out.

Subway employee claps back at customer complaints: “you literally make the sandwich” – Dexerto
Subway employee claps back at customer complaints: “you literally make the sandwich” TikTok: miladmirgA Subway employee’s response to customers complaining about the ingredients being trash has gone viral on TikTok. The video outlined common criticisms leveled against the fast-food chain and why he thought they were unwarranted. “Number one, you literally make the sandwich. You pick ingredient per ingredient, what goes onto your sandwich. So, if you’re making a bad sandwich, that’s on you. I’m sorry,” he said in the video. He then went on to address complaints about the quality of ingredients such as the vegetables and deli meats used by Subway. Tackling the complaints head-on, he claimed the fast-food chain’s ingredients are “sourced from every other place that gets them.” Still, the content creator; who goes by the handle ‘miladmirg’ across social media, had an admirable purpose behind the video. “I want to make Subway the best it could be,” he said, while explaining he’d be passing the feedback from his viewers onto the higher-ups at his work. Though he also added a caveat: “I don’t think they’re going to listen to me; I’m literally just some random worker.” Over the past two years the ‘random worker’ has amassed a large following on TikTok, where he shares videos of him making customer’s sandwiches and serving other items during his work shifts. So, his bosses may want to lend an ear to all that feedback, after all, he has an army of passionate fast-food-obsessed TikTokers behind him.

Subway employee who fell asleep on customer’s sandwich goes viral on TikTok again TikTok/@vindoughhA Subway sandwich artist who literally dozed off into a foot-long has gone viral again after the video was reuploaded with music. Subway is one of the most popular fast-food chains in the world, specializing in sub-style sandwiches filled with cold cuts, vegetables, and all sorts of other toppings. One topping you may be surprised to know they have, however, seems to be the napping head of an employee, as a customer filmed his sandwich artist fast asleep in his sub. And of course, it ended up going viral when it was posted to TikTok… not once, but twice. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) Subway employee sleeps in sandwich In the clip, TikToker vindoughh added an amusing parody song “Go to Sleep” (for frustrated parents) as the worker casually drifts off with her hat and face slowly landing on the bread. In a second video, which went viral with over 7.2M views, the employee is still face down in the sandwich, but wakes up to rap music and continues on with her job, casually adding some peppers as toppings. Users were both disgusted and intrigued at the clip ,with some concerned about food safety and others about the health of the worker. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) “Welcome to Subway, where all the employees are overworked and underpaid,” one wrote. “I wish I saw more compassion in the comments. Yes, it’s inappropriate for an employee, clearly, but who knows what’s she’s going through?” another commented. The original clip from 2020 was filmed at a Subway in Chicago, and received more than 12 million views.

Fast food restaurants have often spawned endless viral clips across the internet involving troublesome encounters between customers and employees. Whether it’s one angry customer slapping a Taco Bell worker or even fights breaking out at a McDonald’s branch for running out of Sweet and Sour sauce, it has proved to be a tricky place to work for many. Another customer who wasn’t pleased that their footlong sub from Subway hadn’t been cut has even reportedly been arrested for battery after they struck the worker in question with their sandwich. Florida man attacks Subway employee with his sandwich According to a Martin County Sheriff’s police report, a Florida man was arrested on January 9, 2024, and is set to face criminal charges for his actions. Alberto De Barros is said to have ordered a sandwich at a Subway restaurant located in Stuart, Florida, but was soon “upset” with the sandwich artist after “finding out that his sandwich was not separated.” Subway worker Cassandra Pierre-Louis informed law enforcement that she refused to serve De Barros due to him “causing a disruptive scene.” The angry customer then responded by throwing the sandwich at her. The 54-year-old man soon left the fast food branch, as Pierre-Louis stated she followed behind and managed to take a photograph of his number plate, before he eventually drove off. De Barros was soon released from Martin County jail after paying the required $1,000 bond and now awaits his formal charging in the form of an arraignment on February 1, 2024.

Study reveals significant male support for Andrew Tate despite trafficking charges – Dexerto
Study reveals significant male support for Andrew Tate despite trafficking charges YouTubeA surprising number of young men in Britain are still supporters of Andrew Tate and his views on how women and relationships should be approached, according to survey data. Analysis from British polling company YouGov showed that while Andrew Tate remains controversial with the majority of the population, he still enjoys high name recognition across the board and support among specific demographics, most notably younger men. Andrew Tate rose to prominence after a successful kickboxing career, followed by a series of increasingly controversial statements on how men should approach relationships. His assertions that men are the “owners” of women they’re dating and should seek partners they can control have often put him at the centre of public debate. However, despite these controversies, Tate is doing better than you’d think in popularity ratings. One quarter of British men approve of Andrew Tate Andrew Tate is most popular among men aged 18-29, where 27% have a positive opinion of him. This is also the group that is most likely to have watched his content, with 93% of them knowing who Andrew Tate is. Despite this, Tate remains a largely unpopular figure with the whole of the British public. Women in particular have a negative opinion of him. Overall, less than 10% of the country said they agreed with Andrew Tate in general. However, this means that almost a quarter of young men in Britain still have a positive view of Andrew Tate, and even more agree with some of the things he says. Andrew Tate, alongside his brother Tristan and several other associates, was arrested in Romania last year on suspicion of human trafficking and sexual assault. After several months in prison, they were released onto house arrest and later freed from that, although a formal trial is set to take place over the next few years. For more news and updates on Andrew Tate, check out our full explainer on why he was arrested, when he was released and when his trial is going to be.

What is Stuff Your Kindle Day 2024? How to get thousands of e-books for free Pavel Polívka/UnsplashA surprise Stuff Your Kindle Day is taking place on September 5, so here’s everything you need to know about getting several e-books completely free. And no, you don’t even need to own a Kindle to participate. If you’ve spent any time on BookTok lately, you might have heard people talk about Stuff Your Kindle Day, where you’ll be able to get hundreds, if not thousands of e-books for free on Amazon, or wherever else you get your e-books. Although it might sound too good to be true, it’s actually an event that has been going on for almost a decade. Created by author Zoe York, it encourages authors to make their books free for one day only as a way to promote their work while also benefitting readers who get to stock up their e-libraries with new books. Here’s everything you need to know about Stuff Your Kindle Day and how you can find some great books for free. What is Stuff Your Kindle Day? Stuff Your Kindle Day was created in 2014 by romance author Zoe York who has been working with self-published authors to make their books free to buy for all readers for one day. While it started with only Amazon making their e-books free, it has now grown to include other e-readers and e-book stores, including the Kobo store, Barnes & Noble e-book store, Apple Book store, and Google Play store. The indie romance author event has been happening four times a year for the past 10 years, and several other websites have since taken up the opportunity to create similar events for different genres. While Stuff Your Kindle Day is primarily for romance titles, some non-fiction (and non-romance) titles are also included. So whatever book genres you’re into, you’re bound to find a Stuff Your Kindle Day that suits your interests. When is Stuff Your Kindle Day 2024? York shocked fans on September 5 as they surprised them with a one-day-only Stuff Your Kindle Day. If you do have a Kindle Unlimited account, make sure you actually buy the books and not get them through Kindle Unlimited, as that means they’ll only be available to you for 20 days. If you buy them, you get to keep them permanently. Do you need a Kindle to take part in Stuff Your Kindle Day? No, you do not need to own a Kindle to take advantage of the amazing offers. On the Romance Bookworms website, the offers will be categorized according to what reading device you might have, including Apple and Android phones and devices. The specific books that will be free for Stuff Your Kindle Day are kept secret until the day of, but in the past, only self-published authors have participated in the event. However, organizer Zoe York, who is a best-selling romance author, does make her own books free the day of her Stuff Your Kindle days, so you’ll never know what other authors might decide to participate. Have any books already been made available for free? Although Stuff Your Kindle Days only last for a day, some authors do decide to make their books free a few days before the actual event, and keep the promotion going a few days after the Stuff Your Kindle event. To find free books, head over to Amazon’s Kindle section to see if you can find any hidden deals.

Study claims PewDiePie outearns every other YouTuber by ‘millions’ – Dexerto
Study claims PewDiePie outearns every other YouTuber by ‘millions’ YouTube: PewDiePie / YouTube / UnsplashA study published on August 6 that collected data of merchandise sales and YouTube views claims that Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg makes millions above any other creator on video-hosting platform. The last year has been very good for PewDiePie. With the infamous T-Series vs PewDiePie feud becoming a cultural phenomenon, the Swede had a surge in views and subscribers pushing him closer to the 100 million subscriber milestone. On the August 2 episode of the ‘h3 Podcast’ he blew the hosts’ minds with his crazy monthly views and subscriber count. Now, a new study suggests that those numbers might be even more insane than first thought, according to PR Week. PewDiePie makes serious bank off merchandise The study was conducted by a company called Purple Moon Promo who used a tool designed by Sellfy. According to the company, they look at the average views of other YouTubers, and then take the average cost of the merchandise they sell on their site. Using their viewership numbers, they calculate the likely amount of people that would buy their products. Given how popular PewDiePie’s merchandise is, it’s easy to see the potential for sales. According to them, they estimate PewDiePie makes close to $7 million alone in merchandise sales. 600The study also looked at all the views of the top creators on YouTube, and calculated what their CPM (cost per impression) could be based on their total views. While the exact number is only known to the creator, the company estimated that he makes over $1.1 million dollars a month on adverts alone. The study also listed the other top earners according to their data. And interesting enough, the YouTube superstar earns a staggering amount more, with the second highest earner on their list being stunt-group “Dude Perfect” who make close to $3 million in merchandise and $500,000 a month in ads. 600The numbers are calculated It should be said, that no one knows what the numbers exactly are. There is a lot of guesswork and other factors to consider. Not to mention that according to Forbes last year, PewDiePie made $15.5 million total. If this study is accurate, the Swedish YouTuber would have had a dramatic increase in revenue. But it also would line up with his sharp increase in subscribers and views in the past year. Read More: Courage re-records Ariana Grande music video – During the ‘h3 podcast’, Ethan Kelin and Hila Klein actually debated what he made in CPM after being shocked that he gets over 544 million views a month. While Hila was quick to caution guessing a number, Ethan said he felt “confident” that he was getting $3 a CPM. “Trust me. He makes between 2 and 3 CPM with the amount of mid-rolls. It’s not 1” he stated before guessing Pewds makes “1.8 million a month.” Regardless of what the actual numbers are, there is no doubt that his views and subscriber counts is absolutely insane. Study finds majority of women find it a “turn off” if partner listens to Joe Rogan podcast – Dexerto
Study finds majority of women find it a “turn off” if partner listens to Joe Rogan podcast Instagram: Joe RoganA new study has found that more than half of women find it a “turn off” if a man listens to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The Joe Rogan Experience is the most popular podcast in the world, with a huge audience and even a reported $100 million-plus deal for Rogan when he signed to Spotify exclusively. He’s had all manner of people on his podcast, from different backgrounds and areas of expertise, bringing in some of the biggest celebrities, politicians, scientists and more to chat at length about their careers, lives, and beliefs. That said, as with any entertainer, Rogan isn’t to everybody’s tastes — and apparently a majority of women aren’t his biggest fan. Study finds women “turned off” by Joe Rogan podcast Change Research conducted a study of over 1000 18-34 year olds, looking to learn about their political leanings, belief systems, dating preferences and more. They found that 55% of women actually deem it to be a “red flag” if a partner listens to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. In contrast, only 35% of men said the same about women listening to Rogan’s work. Elsewhere in the study, it was found that 9% of women consider it a red flag if a partner has no social media, 53% are unimpressed by partners who refuse to see the Barbie movie, and a whopping 66% deem it a red flag if a partner has no hobbies. Men in the study found the biggest red flag to be a partner identifying as a Community, with 64%, with 41% being turned off by a partner who is into Astrology. Needless to say, Joe Rogan won’t be too worried about the results of this study, as the views and money continue to roll in.

Study finds YouTube algorithm can push violent, graphic videos to young children – Dexerto
Study finds YouTube algorithm can push violent, graphic videos to young children Unsplash: Eyestetix StudioA recent study has found that the YouTube algorithm has the potential to automatically push violent or graphic videos to young children without them actively searching for them. YouTube’s video algorithm has been a point of contention for quite some time. The mysterious inner workings of the platform’s recommended feed have dictated what content is pushed to viewers and in turn, what content gains popularity. The algorithm, like most other social media platforms, takes into account what content the user is consuming, before offering them similar content in order to keep them engaged. At least, that’s the intention. Often, this means tuning a user’s suggested videos to cater to their particular hobbies and enjoyment. However, a new study has found that there may be a potentially darker side to how YouTube’s algorithm functions. A study conducted by the Tech Transparency Project found that young children were having their YouTube suggestions flooded with graphic videos about school shootings, gun training videos, and more. Study finds YouTube algorithm may be pushing violent content to children The new study took two YouTube accounts and simulated the behavior of two nine-year-olds who like video games. These accounts were both identical, except one would click on videos that were recommended by YouTube, whilst the other did not. The account that did click on the suggestions provided by the platform was soon flooded with graphic content, the report claims. The account that did not interact with the suggestions would still receive some gun-related videos, at a total of 34. However, the accounts that did engage with the suggested videos would end up receiving 382 different firearm-related videos in a month, or around 12 per day, according to the research. Alongside this, the study also created accounts that mimicked 14-year-old boys and found similar results. The findings of the study have brought about criticism of YouTube’s algorithm, which a spokeswoman at the platform defended in response to AP News. They noted it requires users under the age of 17 to gain their parent’s permission before using the site, and accounts for users under 13 are linked to a parental account. “We offer a number of options for younger viewers… which are designed to create a safer experience for tweens and teens.” The conversation about algorithms has also bled onto TikTok, which has similarly defended its site and policies by stating they prohibit users under the age of 13.

Authorities ask Studio Ghibli fans to not take lewd photos at theme park – Dexerto
Authorities ask Studio Ghibli fans to not take lewd photos at theme park Ghibli ParkJapanese authorities want visitors at the Studio Ghibli theme park to stop taking lewd photos with the attractions. Inspired by the animated films from Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki, Ghibli Park opened its doors to the public late last year. The attraction is located at Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park) in Nagakute, Aichi, Japan, with several of its attractions featuring iconic landmarks and characters from Studio Ghibli films. Princess Mononoke‘s Mononoke Village section allows visitors to explore the Muromachi period in which the animated feature is set. Meanwhile, the vibrant Witch Valley area should spark joy for those familiar with Kiki’s Delivery Service and Howl’s Moving Castle. But some park attendees have taken their love for these franchises too far. Ghibli Park visitors have been taking indecent photos on-site A recent report from CNN notes that authorities in Japan plan to take action against Ghibli Park visitors who take lewd photographs with the statues. Singapore’s Strait Times publication acknowledged these occurrences last week when images of park attendees groping the Ghibli-inspired statues caught the attention of authorities. Aichi Governor Hideaki Omura denounced these actions in a press conference on Thursday, March 9. The official spoke of his intention to ask the theme park’s operating company to prevent visitors from engaging in improper behavior. Omura said the following during the conference, “It is extremely regrettable. We will take firm action because [Ghibli Park] is located within the prefectural park.” The Governor later added, “Ghibli Park is a place for adults and children to have fun while experiencing Ghibli films. I don’t want people who do things that many find offensive to come to the park.” Here’s to hoping Japanese authorities won’t have to apply too much pressure to convince bad actors that fondling statues at a public park is gross misconduct.

Study claims that Ninja has millions of “duplicate” followers on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube – Dexerto
Study claims that Ninja has millions of “duplicate” followers on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube WiredTwitch star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is make a killing since his popularity blew up in 2018, telling CNN he made around $10 million in the same year. But a new study puts a sizable portion of his followers into question. A study between Mobcrush and CreatorIQ worked to “deduplicate” social media influencers’ following by taking the “total audience minus the number of people who follow that same creator on a separate social platform” to find an influencer’s true reach. Social media influencers like Ninja make their living off of mass followers throughout different platforms, and a new study suggests that the popular streamer might have “duplicate” followers that could skew earnings, according to the study. The report had startling figures, and among them are ones that suggest Ninja’s true social media reach being less than what previously thought. The Fortnite streamer has around 47 million followers across Twitch, Facebook and YouTube. The study found that around 4 million of those 47 million followers came from overlap across platforms. The numbers translate to his following possibly being inflated to somewhere around 9%, in part due to the duplicate following from across different social media sites. It’s worth noting, however, that there’s a possibility that the study is off base, with there being no conclusive proof on whether these “duplicate” followers truly exist. Furthermore, the study only focuses on his followers, while a large portion of what he made in 2018 came from his record-breaking amount of Twitch subscribers. The payout rates of social media influencers are expected to increase in 2019 about 30%, according to MediaKix. Meaning even with a little bit of cross-platform overlap in followers, Ninja could be on track to surpassing his 2018 salary by a healthy margin.

Students sneak into teacher’s house & spend the night in wild senior prank – Dexerto
Students sneak into teacher’s house & spend the night in wild senior prank Instagram: sasdelawareA class of high school students is going viral after sneaking into their teacher’s home and spending the night for a wild ‘senior prank.’ Summer is here, and that means school is out — or almost out for some districts. With the school year nearing its end, that means it’s time for seniors to ‘get back’ at their teachers after going through twelve years of compulsory education. Senior pranks are a classic and time-honored tradition in American schools. At the end of the school year, the senior class will usually get together to find some creative way to pull a practical joke on the school staff; things like setting up a slip n’ slide down the hallway or wrapping the principal’s office in tin foil are just two examples in a long list of possible senior pranks. However, one graduating class got extremely creative and decided to take things to the next level. Luckily, their teacher was okay with the joke… but not everyone was a fan of their idea. Senior class pranks teacher by sneaking into her house at night The 2023 graduating class of St. Andrew’s School, an Episcopal boarding school in Middletown, DE, decided to band together to pull off one of the most jaw-dropping senior pranks we’ve seen thus far. Rather than taking their antics to the school building, St. Andrew’s entire graduating class snuck into their teacher’s home and spent the night. A viral clip taken from the prank shows their teacher — the extremely good-humored Ms. McGrath — walking into her kitchen dressed in a robe and crocs first thing in the morning, absolutely shocked to see her students gathered in her own living space. She quickly backed out of the room before opening the door again to greet the kids: “Good morning, little bunnies!” The video continues with the students and their teacher exchanging some banter as more and more students pile out into the living room. The clip, which was posted to Instagram by St. Andrew’s School on May 19, has racked up over 1 million views and is going viral on other social platforms like Twitter, as well. While some commenters thought the prank was wholesome, others expressed concerns about the teacher’s home security — while still others warned that the practical joke could have become a dangerous affair. Couldn’t happen with no Boston Public School 🏫 — Thanos Luther King Jr. (@FritzPlaysGTA) May 29, 2023 In the United States, multiple deadly incidents have occurred as the result of being on another person’s property in 2023, alone — such as a 20-year-old woman who was shot and killed for simply turning around in a stranger’s driveway. Other similar incidents to the senior class’s prank have sparked outrage online, as seen in the case of infamous internet figure ‘Mizzy,’ who came under fire after walking into a family’s home for a video as a ‘joke.’

Student’s viral TikTok exposes school’s “sexist” dress code during assembly – Dexerto
Student’s viral TikTok exposes school’s “sexist” dress code during assembly TIKTOK: anastasiaskitsA 16-year-old student went viral on TikTok after exposing her school’s “sexist” dress code during assembly. The student called out administrators during an assembly while challenging the school’s strict dress code, calling attention to the policy being unfairly enforced. In a viral video with over 5.7 million views, TikToker Anastasia shared a clip of her asking administrators to clarify their strict dress code. “Why is this school so persistent in telling girls to cover up when really guys should just keep it in their pants?” she said. “This school is so headstrong on telling girls to cover their shoulders or stomach when those things are all pretty natural.” She went on to explain that the dress code was “sexist,” and observed that girls with a “bigger cup size” are dress-coded more often than those with smaller cup sizes, even if they are wearing the same shirt. “I’ve heard more girls with the bigger cup sizes get dress coded. It’s completely sexist and biased and not OK,” Anastasia stated. She captioned the video: “Our bodies aren’t distracting. You’re just disgusting.” In a follow-up clip, the student shared a male administrator’s response to her argument, in which he stated that he’s just “enforcing a policy” that’s in the handbook. “It’s not the way we’re looking at that, but we’re just following whatever we want to do,” he said. “Majority of the people do get it, but there’s some people that want to challenge the system, so that’s it. And a lot of staff members and people, they feel uncomfortable.” A girl sitting behind Anastasia then asked: “You said the staff feels uncomfortable with what girls wear?” The man answered, “I said years past, some staff members…” “Why?” she interjected, before a different staff member cut her off and asked the students to “refocus,” evading her question. TikTok users react to student exposing school’s “sexist” dress code Several TikTok users slammed the administrator for claiming that the staff was uncomfortable with outfits minors wear to school. “The staff felt ‘uncomfortable’ around minors??? Ok bud get new staff they should NOT be around kids/teens,” one user commented. “‘They’re making staff uncomfortable’ so he just told on all of the staff for looking?” another user wrote. “He just excused patriarchal misogyny. He just basically said boys will be boys,” someone else added. Others users shared their own experiences of being dress coded. “I was 5’11 in high school and would ALWAYS get dress coded whenever I wore a skirt. I knew this other girl who was 5’3 and would NEVER get dress coded and she wore skirts daily,” one user shared. “One time there were these two girls wearing tank tops. One was significantly bigger than the other. The bigger girl got sent home for her tank top,” another wrote.

Student’s graduation “ruined” after father rushes to stage and shoves superintendent – Dexerto
Student’s graduation “ruined” after father rushes to stage and shoves superintendent TV43 BarabooA high school graduation was completely “ruined” after a father rushed on stage and shoved a superintendent away from his daughter. Graduations are often a source of drama and viral moments, however, a new video circulating across the internet has revealed how one student had their big day “ruined” by their father. When one Wisconsin student got up on stage to accept her Baraboo High School diploma, things took a turn after her father, Matthew Eddy, stormed onto the graduation stage and shoved a superintendent out of the way. Eddy did so before his daughter was able to shake the superintendent’s hand, with later reports revealing he was heard saying, “That’s my daughter, I don’t want her touching him.” The father was then escorted off stage by security at the event, with the audience booing him as he was taken away. Matthew Eddy’s daughter can be seen visibly upset by the interruption, looking around in complete shock and disbelief. Following the now-viral incident, Eddy was issued with a criminal citation for disorderly conduct, and the superintendent who was shoved on stage, Rainey Briggs, issued a restraining order against him. The School District of Baraboo School Board spoke out about the occurrence, stating, “This adult felt emboldened to behave in this way in front of hundreds of students and other adults should deeply trouble us all; this type of behavior will not be tolerated.” The footage of the clip, which has been circulating across multiple platforms on social media, has been largely filled with comments from people slamming the father for his actions. Some even claimed his actions were fuelled by racism. One X user stated, “This girl’s graduation ceremony was ruined by her father because he didn’t want her to shake hands with a Black administrator. Why did it take so long for all of the other white folks to jump in? Racism is violent, racism is humiliating, and racism is destructive.” Another added, “I did not see one person on that stage afterwards [sic] come to the Superintendent’s aide to see if he was ok. Not one. That says an awful lot.”

Student’s birthday party nearly shut down by cops after inviting “everyone on TikTok” – Dexerto
Student’s birthday party nearly shut down by cops after inviting “everyone on TikTok” TikTok: omar2onA university student’s 21st birthday bash almost got shut down by the fuzz after he decided to invite “everyone on TikTok” to celebrate his big day. It’s Project X in real life… minus the flamethrower, of course. UK University student Omar Dhadra took inspiration from the outrageous 2012 comedy film and decided to invite all of TikTok to his 21st birthday party. He extended the invite to his 7,000 followers in a short video clip, detailing the venue’s address and a time for everyone to show up. However, he didn’t expect his invitation to go viral, with the video racking up over 2 million views at the time of writing. Comments poured in from local users, with prominent influencer Lauren Alexis even saying, “Interesting…” Some netizens were wary of how the night would pan out, though, with a few commenting, “This is either gonna be really good or really bad,” and, “Ah mate, you’re gonna regret this.” Student goes viral for inviting “all of TikTok” to 21st birthday party Omar laid out further details for his party in a series of other videos, theming it after the Project X movie, complete with glowsticks and over-the-top rave attire. Despite some user’s fears, it looks like the party was a total blast — no pun intended. In response to a commenter asking, “How was the party?” Omar posted a clip of an absolutely packed venue, with partygoers dancing to music shoulder to shoulder. However, this party of a lifetime was almost cut short. Omar ended up having to switch his venue last minute after local law enforcement reportedly caught wind of the ordeal and called up the venue to request that it get shut down. This prompted Omar to schedule a different location for his 21st celebration, and it seems that things went off without a hitch. This isn’t the first time a TikToker’s celebration has attracted the attention of law enforcement; in fact, TikTok star Bryce Hall got some SDSU students suspended after an out-of-control college party got a little too rowdy and even pressed charges against the frat members.

Students go viral as car bursts into flames during drive to graduation – Dexerto
Students go viral as car bursts into flames during drive to graduation TikTok: norahtyreeTwo students from Virginia have gone viral after one of their cars burst into flames on their way to Graduation. Though, thankfully, no one was hurt and they still got to graduate. When it comes to finishing up school, everyone looks forward to Graduation day. It’s a time to celebrate the last few years of hard work and be recognized for your achievements along the way. However, sometimes, those days don’t exactly go to plan. In the past, some students have gone viral from tripping on stage as they go claim their diploma or struggling to get their words out when making a speech. Yet, in the case of Raziah Stanley and Norah Tyree from Forest, Virginia, they run into a brand-new issue as Stanley’s car burst into flames on her way to Graduation. Yes, that’s right, it caught fire. Students go viral as car bursts into fire on way to graduate The two students went viral initially after showing off a short clip of the car on fire. They stood a ways away from the blazing inferno at first, making light of the situation. “I think something is wrong with your car,” Norah said in a TikTok clip that has racked up close to 6 million views. “Oh, it just does that sometimes,” Stanley answered in a joking tone. After that clip took off, they gave a longer story time about the whole thing, noting that it appeared to be an electrical issue that started the blaze. They continued with their jokes too, saying that the car knew it was a “chilly” morning and had to “warm them up,” and in doing so had served its purpose. According to ABC 13 in Virginia, the Boonsboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company tackled the fire and were able to put it out within a few minutes. So, no harm was done to anything but the car. They also suspected it was an electrical issue but the car had suffered so much damage that they were unable to determine a proper cause.

Fans have taken to the comment section of the star’s video to voice their thoughts about the situation. “Idk bestie…I feel like they’re gonna find SOMETHING to dress code you for,” one fan said. “Have they told you specifically why you’ve been dress coded so you can avoid it? Because your fits have literally been harmless,” another user questioned. “I feel like they’re dress coding you for looking attractive and they seem that distracting. But it’s not your fault you’re beautiful and have style,” another TikToker stated. Mei has since remained silent on whether or not she received another dress code, but one thing for sure, is that her fans seem to be super supportive of her fashion decision.

Student goes viral with clever way to order DoorDash to school TIKTOK: fromthecounselorsdeskA student went viral on TikTok, after using a clever way to bypass the school’s rule to get food delivered via DoorDash. TikToker and high school counselor fromthecounselorsdesk filmed one of her students finding a creative strategy to ordering DoorDash food to school. “So, you know, we can’t DoorDash food but can you, like, bring the food in and just be like you’re my uncle, and drop the food off in the office?” the student asked the delivery driver on the phone. “Like, I’m your uncle?” the confused Dasher replied. A few moments later, the driver agreed to pretend to be a family member to deliver the food. The student then asked the Dasher to remove the DoorDash sticker from the bag. The video fast-forwarded to the moment the driver arrived with his McDonald’s order, saying “This is for my nephew.” When the security guard at the front desk inquired about the recipient of the order, the counselor reassured her that it was fine. The clip concluded with the student receiving the order. “The realest DoorDasher that ever existed! Student goes viral with “revenge” on thief who keeps stealing his food – Dexerto
Student goes viral with “revenge” on thief who keeps stealing his food TikTok: Ethan PhamA college student has gone viral on TikTok for trolling a thief who keeps stealing his food deliveries as he tries to expose whoever the food-stealing mastermind is. As it’s gotten bigger and bigger over the last year or so, TikTok has become the go-to platform for many social media users who want to share the goings-on from their everyday lives. From that, videos have gone viral every single day, as users have encountered some strange things. Though, in the case of Ethan Pham, who has over 250,000 followers on TikTok, he’s been having his food stolen. The University of Texas student first reported the strange happenings back in late January when his Chipotle delivery was stolen from right outside his dorm room. His video on the matter garnered over 1.6 million views, with users begging him for an update. College student goes viral trying to expose fast food thief Well, Ethan has obliged and revealed that, even a few weeks later, some of his deliveries are still being taken by unnamed people. That’s led him to increasing his hunt for the suspect, as he’s been planting fake food deliveries to try and catch people out. In his update, Ethan revealed that he stuffed a Chick Fil A bag full of trash and left a dumpster diving meme in there as well. He hasn’t actually caught the suspect yet, but he’s got an idea in mind. “I lowkey have a plan for that later on, but it’s still in the works,” he said, noting he still wants to “troll them a little bit.” A number of viewers are on his side, even suggesting ways he could catch them out. “Buy an Apple AirTag and put it in the bag,” said one. “Just chill in the lobby and see who takes it,” added another. Clearly, the search is still on and users are eager to see what happens.

Strongman Eddie Hall unveils epic one-acre mansion with YouTube tour – Dexerto
Strongman Eddie Hall unveils epic one-acre mansion with YouTube tour Eddie Hall (YouTube)[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV] Former World’s Strongest Man turned YouTuber, Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall, has given us a tour of his impressive mansion, and it’s literally an all-in-one leisure facility. Eddie Hall is a name synonymous with strength sports. If there’s an impressive feat of strength to be displayed, The Beast has probably done it. While he’s most likely best known for being the first man to pull 500 kg from the floor on a conventional barbell, the 32-year-old strongman has a list of accolades that stack higher than the 6’2” giant. Having left the realm of competitive strength sports, Eddie is now focused on growing his brand, and the main driver behind that is his YouTube channel. And by the looks of his brand new mansion, the decision is certainly paying off. Eddie Hall’s mansion tour The property itself is set on just under an acre of land, which is completely surrounded by six-foot high fences to add an additional layer of privacy. The huge driveway leads you into the main attraction, which is the three-story (soon to be four) house. While the interior decor is dated back to when the house was first built in the 1980’s, Hall explains that the carpet draped across the stairs alone is worth a staggering $25,000 (£20,000). After a whistle-stop tour through the middle floor, Eddie takes us through to the enormous garden, where his game-changing spa is situated. While the spa is simply bare bones with ‘just’ a purpose-built swim spa alongside both a hot and cold tub, Eddie detailed his plans to build around the foundations and integrate a sauna and steam room into the final product. After a quick tour around the remainder of the garden, Eddie quickly gave us a sneak peek inside the guest house at the side of the property. Of course, this is impressive, but what’s perhaps more mind-blowing, is what’s on the Ground Floor. Underneath the Eddie’s not-so-humble abode is a fully functional gym, which has been kitted out to the high heavens. With Hall gearing up to take on Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson in the world’s heaviest boxing match next year, he also plans to add a full boxing ring into the gym — turning his house of residence into a full training camp.

Stripper goes viral on TikTok after sharing how much money she makes in a year – Dexerto
Stripper goes viral on TikTok after sharing how much money she makes in a year TIKTOK: MIKIFROMTHECLUBA stripper has shared her annual salary in a TikTok video that has gone viral, leaving many people astonished. The Australian exotic dancer, who posts under the handle mikifromtheclub, shared a breakdown of every dollar she’s made from working only twice a week every year. “Have you guys ever wondered how much spicy dancers make in a year?” the TikToker asks in the viral video, which has now garnered over 3.1 million views. “Lucky for you, the financial year has just ended, and I happen to keep a spreadsheet of literally every single dollar I made on literally every single night,” she continued. The TikToker then goes on to share a detailed spreadsheet, highlighting that she made a whopping $98,033 from working just 93 days a year. She jokes that it’s “so close to six figures, it’s not even fair.” In the clip, she says, “The total I made in this entire year was $98,033,” later clarifying, “And I do want to say before you all come at me, yes I do have to pay tax on all of those dollars,” explaining that her take-home is more around $80,000. TikTok users amazed at eye-opening salary shared in viral video The TikToker, who goes by Miki, anticipated a strong reaction to her video, as she ended the video by saying she “can’t wait to see the comment section on this one.” Miki has certainly left quite a lot of people dumbfounded with her impressive salary, as thousands of people commented their thoughts under the viral clip. “I have 3 degrees, 4 certifications, work 55+ hours a week, 6 days a week. I buy stuff to do my work. My salary is less than 60,000. Damn” one user commented. Another user commended the exotic dancer, writing: “Spitting in the faces of everyone that claims SWs are not smart, that spreadsheet, the graph! Love this.” “I think you have found a niche market, empowering SW with financial knowledge. You should sell your Excel spreadsheet!” someone added. Miki has since posted other videos, revealing that she’s paid off her house, cleared her university debt from her first bachelor’s degree, and also has a decent deposit saved for a second house.

Strongman Eddie Hall & The Mountain spark feud over deadlift record – Dexerto
Strongman Eddie Hall & The Mountain spark feud over deadlift record eddiehallwsm / thorbjornsson (Instagram)As Game of Thrones’ Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson gears up to break Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall’s deadlift world record with 501 kg, the pair have locked horns over social media and fellow Strongman Robert Oberst has weighed in with his say. In 2016, Eddie Hall shattered the previous equipped deadlift world record by becoming the first man in history to pull 500kg from the floor with a conventional barbell. Since then, many have tried – but have failed – to repeat Eddie’s historic lift in a competition. Stepping up next to the platform is Hafthor Bjornsson on May 2 — and with five Europe’s Strongest Man titles and eight World’s Strongest Man podium finishes under his belt, he’s definitely cut-out for the job. Eddie “doesn’t trust the Icelandics” After catching wind that Bjorsson’s upcoming attempt to beat his record would be set outside of the traditional competitive environment, Eddie addressed this during his April 5 livestream Q&A. The Brit labeled the Icelandics as untrustworthy (later clarifying that he was only referring to Hafthor and his team), by citing his 2017 WSM win, where he referenced Bjornsson’s alleged “intimidation” tactics after being overruled by a judge during the Viking Press event. All of the above and more was later cleared up in an April 11 Instagram post by Hall, where he called Hafthor out for “hypocrisy,” stating that “he’ll drag his name through mud or place it upon a pedestal to suit his objective.” https://www.instagram.com/p/B-zqepEl-S9/ The Beast vs. The Mountain Of course, Eddie’s comments sparked outrage in the Icelandic camp, with Hafthor himself using his Instagram story to call out the current world record holder — specifically referring to him as an “arrogant a**hole.” As you’d expect, the pair have locked horns since April 5 and have been toing and froing via their Instagram stories. Bjornsson even claimed that Hall was “obsessed” with him and has been attempting to undermine his 501kg attempt, while stating that Hall had failed to win anything else internationally. Oberst has his say: World record should not stand With both camps setting up shop, fellow American Strongman, Robert Oberst, weighed in with his say in his April 12 YouTube video. As a neutral, Oberst arrived at the conclusion that the attempt should not stand as an official world record, given that Bjorsson will not have to deal with the strains and pressures of an official competition. Dealing with other lifters, the equipment used and the pressures of the crowd are all factors which an athlete usually has to consider. Whereas Thor will get to deadlift from his home gym, with fellow Icelandic and former Strongman Magnús Ver Magnússon as the referee. However, with all that being said, Hafthor has his eyes set on one goal: to be the first man to pull 501 kg from the ground on a conventional barbell. But only time will tell whether it stands as an official world record.

“Stressed” Jacksepticeye reveals why he’s considered quitting YouTube – Dexerto
“Stressed” Jacksepticeye reveals why he’s considered quitting YouTube jacksepticeye, YouTubePopular Irish gaming YouTuber Seán “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin answered personal questions from fans, revealing that he’s considered leaving YouTube in the past due to multiple stressors that come with the job. Known for his humorous gaming videos and collaborations with other huge personalities like Markiplier and PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye is often hailed as a unique face in YouTube’s gaming community — but the gig isn’t always sunshine and roses. While being a big-shot internet star might seem like a cakewalk, the Irishman revealed that “being your own boss” in an industry rife with intense competition and confusing guidelines can be enough to make creators want to walk away. McLoughlin opened up about his career in a video uploaded on January 14, where he answered “personal” questions from fans, one of which asked if the YouTuber had ever considered “just quitting” the platform. “Yup,” he answered through a laugh. “I’ve had that thought a lot, because when things get a little tricky or things get a little annoying — for different reasons, whether it’s, ‘Oh god, I’m sick of doing the same thing every day,’ or, ‘I’m just tired of YouTube’s algorithms and trying to fight a system that I have no idea how it works.’” Although he clarified that he greatly enjoys his career, the gaming star also admitted that this is the most stressed and anxious he’s ever been in his life, thanks to multiple different factors like pressure from fans, coming up with content, and recording his videos on his own. “Doing YouTube, I absolutely love it,” he explained. “It’s the best job I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. But it is the most stressed and the most anxious I have ever been in my life, doing anything.” (Topic begins at 11:09 for mobile readers) He likewise claimed that such a career can lead YouTuber’s to place their “self-worth in numbers,” depending on view counts and subscriber counts — but in spite of the hardships, he plans on making a change to his content rather than quitting. For now, Jacksepticeye hopes to “work when creativity strikes,” and teased a halt to his daily upload schedule for a more relaxed timeline hoping to create more quality content with better games in place of quantitative uploads.

Stretch guide to avoid injury for streamers, pro players, gamers – Dexerto
Stretch guide to avoid injury for streamers, pro players, gamers Burst @ StockSnapSelf-care is an incredibly important part of gaming. If it’s something you ignore, problems can occur later in life that could have been managed with a little bit of time. Here, we’ve detailed some videos and guides you can follow to help prevent future ailments and injury. A player’s hands and wrists are one of the most important assets for any streamer and pro player. Without proper function, difficulties arise outside of modern gaming’s accessibility options. It’s very easy to spend hours on the PC every day and not think of the consequences, but too much repetition can be harmful. A doctor named Dr Levi Harrsion started a YouTube channel to educate people about staying healthy. In one video, he shared a few tips centered on keeping your hands and wrists healthy while gaming. He notes that tips like this can greatly increase your efficiency, boosting your current APM, while also extending how long your professional career can go. An apple a day keeps the doctor at bay Before even getting into stretches, it’s important to take 5-minute breaks, every hour, to give your hands some time to rest. Even though your hands may not feel tired, the repetitive acts of gaming can cause long-term harm. Gently running your hands under warm water while moving your fingers up and down can also aid to loosen up the joints in your hands. Hand stretches A good series of movements to stretch your hands can do wonders. Dr Levi suggests to follow this routine: Make a full fist – Open your hand wide – Bend your fingers 90 degrees to create what’s known as the tabletop – Pull your fingers back against your palm to create a clawed fist (basically how a palm strike looks in martial arts) – Make a half fist – Make a full fist – Finger stretches Finger stretches are equally as important as hand stretches as they are used just as much when playing. Hand stretches are important for anyone that plays games. Push each of your fingers back individually with your other hand to stretch them out. However, the thumb is one of the most important fingers to focus on, so there are a few more stretches you can do for it. Push your thumb back and forward, then reach across your palm and touch each of your fingers with it. Afterward, make a full fist, then open it and spread your fingers out, before putting them back together and closing your fist again. There are also a few general stretches that you can do to help out your hands and wrists. These include shaking your hands around, putting your arm out, and then lifting your wrist. Following this, stretch all of your fingers back, and pull your wrist down to hold it. Stretching can be very important as repetitive strain injuries can hinder gameplay. Some of the best professional players like Starcraft’s Lee “Flash” Young Ho and CS:GO’s Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson suffered from wrist problems, with even them had being kept from competing due to their wrist injuries. So, there you have it. Make sure to take time away from gaming to look after yourself with exercises mentioned here. There are also plenty of videos and guides that you’re able to find online. Repetitive Strain Injury is no joke, and your future self will thank you for it.

VShojo dominate Streamys 2022 VTuber nominations as Hololive, NIJISANJI miss out – Dexerto
VShojo dominate Streamys 2022 VTuber nominations as Hololive, NIJISANJI miss out Twitch: Nyanners / Twitch: IronmouseVShojo has dominated the Streamys 2022 VTuber nominations with four talents getting a nod for the streaming gong. Hololive and NIJISANJI were snubbed of any nominations though, leading to community outcry about the award. The Streamys is live streaming and internet content creation’s night of nights. The very best across all platforms get celebrated in the award ceremony, and that gesture is being extended to VTubers in 2022. A category specific to virtual creators was added this year. The nominations are now in, with one agency dominating the charts: VShojo. The American-based VTuber agency had four of their talents nominated for the Best VTuber category at the Streamys 2022 in Ironmouse, Nyanners, Zentreya, and Veibae. CodeMiko rounded out the list of virtual streamers considered for the award. However the nominations themselves have been called into question, with two glaring agency omissions in Hololive and NIJISANJI. For the Streamys, streamers had to submit themselves for nomination before August 15 via the award’s website. All nominations had to be made “by the owner, creator, or otherwise authorized representative” of each creator. It’s unclear if Hololive and NIJISANJI submitted their talents for consideration in the Streamys for 2022. VTuber community divided over Streamys nominations The balance of the nominations has divided VTubers, with some claiming the Streamys were biased towards VShojo and English-speaking talents. “If you’re streaming on YouTube, why not put some YouTube VTubers on here,” Phase-Connect’s Pipkin Pippa said. “Seriously, how did none of the Hololive girls make it on here? Pomu [Rainpuff], Selen [Tatsuki], the LUXIEM boys of NIJISANJI all have been killing it.” YouTube star Ludwig Ahgren called the criticism a “fair point”, adding: “I think as far as live streaming goes this is the most ‘in touch’ the Streamys have been but they’re still [pretty] out of touch.” Zentreya, who was shortlisted for the award, has also withdrawn her nomination so other “multi talented people more deserving” can have their work recognized. “Thank you all for your kind words and support, but I have already put my withdrawal in for the Streamy VTuber category so that someone more amazing can get their moment to shine,” she said. “I am proud of my friends for being able to get on the list.” It’s also unclear if Zentreya’s withdrawal will be accepted, and another talent will take her place on the awards list. The Streamys 2022 award show will take place on December 4.

I hope you love it.” Today is the official release of my book “”Get good”” my ultimate guide to gaming. I have been gaming my entire life and have been playing games professionally for 10 years. While Ninja’s book will certainly be read on airplanes, trains, and even while sitting on the sofa, the streamer claims his book is “more like a reference book,” meant to be “used, not just read and then put on the shelf.” “You can look at it when you have questions or feel stuck,” Ninja said of the product on Amazon. “Revisit it occasionally to see if you learn something new. Write your own tips or discoveries in the margins, and dog-ear pages you find especially useful.” Complete with explanatory graphics and eye-catching spreads, Ninja’s “Get Good” is a survival guide for the world of modern gaming and streaming, following his massive move to Mixer in August 2019. While Ninja left 14.7 million followers behind on Twitch, the streaming star is nevertheless “excited” about potential growth on Mixer, already boasting over 1.5 million subscribers and two million followers on the platform. 1.5 million subscribers on @WatchMixer and almost 2 million follows. The best part, there are still people who dont know I have made the switch which makes me happy knowing there is room to grow and continue the rise. — Ninja (@Ninja) August 20, 2019 Following his ground-breaking Twitch stream with rapper Drake in 2018, Ninja continues to make massive strides in the gaming realm – and he’s helping others achieve the same dream, in the process.

Streamlabs launches new way to tip streamers after Twitch sub price changes – Dexerto
Streamlabs launches new way to tip streamers after Twitch sub price changes StreamlabsStreamlabs have launched Creator Subscriptions, a monthly tipping service that streamers can use to build a steady source of income without someone taking a cut. This comes weeks after Twitch started rolling out Local Subscription Pricing that drew initial frustrations from streamers. But alternatives to collecting a steady revenue from loyal followings are starting to emerge. Streamlabs has been used by aspiring career-streamers across plenty of major platforms like Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Gaming and more. What’s more, some users are even embedded in the full-suite ecosystem of Streamlabs OBS. Streamlabs Creator Subscription Streamlabs Creator Subscriptions is another step in the integration for people to have a bit more control on the user-to-viewer experience, and vice-versa. Different streaming platforms typically take a percentage of any viewer-donations, but Streamlabs is introducing another way to “help the live streaming community earn a consistent source of income,” a company release said. It’ll work like regular tips in that a viewer donates a certain amount, unlock a message to play on a streamer’s broadcast, and the content creator can have a bit more agency with their stream of revenue. “It’s difficult to make a living from live streaming, and it can be even more difficult for new streamers,” Head of Product at Streamlabs, Ashray Urs told Dexerto in an email. “This new subscription method aims to help build a community of dedicated fans that are financially invested in the success of creators. “We want to provide new streamers with the opportunity to build a loyal fan base and give veterans an additional way to monetize their content.” How to set up Streamlabs monthly tips For people who’ve set up basic tips, then the process of activating monthly tips is a breeze. Twitch streaming couple unbanned after showing “pixelated” naked woman – Dexerto
Twitch streaming couple unbanned after showing “pixelated” naked woman YouTube/Sailing Miss Lone StarThe Twitch streamers Heosu and Esco have been unbanned on the platform after being hit with a three day suspension for showing a video of a pixelated naked woman. Despite appealing the suspension, the duo was still forced to suffer through the three days away from their followers. It’s unclear if Twitch rejected their appeal or if the platform never got around to looking into it. In any case, the two can now finally return to streaming and doing what they love. ✅ Twitch Partner “”EXBC”” (@EXBCtv) has been unbanned after 3 days, 39 minutes and 50 seconds! ✅https://t.co/MNzf9eZaF9#twitch #unban #partner #twitchpartner 🏖 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 9, 2021 Original story follows… Twitch streamers Heosu and Esco are hitting out at the Amazon-owned platform after their account, EXBCtv, was banned for showing a pixelated nude woman in a YouTube video. On April 6, the streamers discovered that their channel had been hit with a three-day ban, all because of a YouTube video shown during a broadcast. According to the husband and wife streamer duo, they hadn’t taken a break from streaming for more than two days in the five years they’d been on Twitch, which made the ban all the more concerning. In a tweet, EXBCtv claimed they were appealing the ban and that, because it was for three days, it would be the longest they’d be away from their stream. Banned because of girl’s pixelated body. Last 5years, I’ve not rested even 2days in a row. It’s 3days ban. I’m appealing now.https://t.co/S0JtaGGSQI (13:10:00) I just showed this video on stream for few seconds. It wasn’t porn, it’s pixelated yt video. I don’t think it’s lewd https://t.co/5iTlZ4rGrl— EXBC (@EXBCtv) April 6, 2021 They also showcased exactly what the supposed issue was. In a YouTube video titled “Nude Beach Costa Rica S8E15,” a woman takes her clothes off and talks to the camera. While normally this would immediately raise some flags, her breasts are pixelated, so no nudity can actually be seen. This is something that makes the ban all the more concerning for EXBCtv. “I just showed this video on stream for a few seconds,” they revealed. “It’s a pixelated YouTube video. I don’t think it’s lewd.” (Segment begins at 13:10 for mobile users.) “I swear I won’t show any lewd or sexual video on stream,” they remarked in a follow-up tweet. Fans of the streamers have expressed concern that Twitch would suspend their channel. “My heart feels bad when good people, who chose to trust a platform with their livelihood are functionally placed on 3 days of unpaid leave,” one saddened viewer said. “They’re a kind, empathetic, married couple and I respect them.” The fact that a pixelated nude woman can result in a ban is quite bizarre, especially considering the pixelation happens in video games such as The Sims on a regular basis to avoid showing nudity. We’ll have to see what Twitch decides to do and if EXBCtv’s ban appeal ends up being successful.

Streaming expert estimates xQc will earn at least 10k an hour on Kick – Dexerto
Streaming expert estimates xQc will earn at least 10k an hour on Kick Twitch: xQcEntrepreneur and former CLG CEO Devin Nash has analyzed xQc’s Kick deal and estimated the streamer could earn 10K an hour while streaming on the platform. xQc’s massive $70 million Kick deal has taken the internet by storm after the June 16, 2023 reveal. While news first came via a report from the New York Times, xQc officially confirmed his new deal on Twitter through a 2-minute long video. Since then, plenty of popular streamers have weighed in on the deal, with many criticizing Twitch for their lack of initiative and funding when it comes to keeping streamers on the platform. Now, entrepreneur and streaming expert Devin Nash has weighed in on the actual contract itself, as well as the revenue breakdown that xQc will have now that this deal is in place. Streaming expert breaks down xQc Kick deal Nash uploaded a video titled, “xQc Signs Biggest Deal in LIVESTREAMING HISTORY” to his YouTube channel on June 16, 2023, after xQc’s official announcement. Nash opened his video by calling it the “biggest deal in entertainment history” before going into a full breakdown of the deal and the revenue xQc could bring in. When breaking down the contract, the former talent agent guessed that xQc would earn roughly $70 million over two years with $30 million in incentives. Additionally, he assumed it was an “Hourly Deal” meaning Kick would pay the streamer hourly alongside a signing bonus. The timestamp begins at 4:00 for those on mobile… With the prerequisite that it is, in fact, an hourly deal, Nash assumed the rate per hour for xQc’s deal would be a staggering $10,000, by taking into account his streamed hours on Twitch, his monthly sub earnings, and more. Nash qualified his experience by noting that he is an agent, noting that he previously ran a talent agency and now runs a brand agency. While he admitted he would be guessing how the deal’s structure is laid out, he said, “I’m gonna almost guarantee that I know exactly how these agencies do this work. I’ve done…probably hundreds of deals across this space that were structured this way.” Of course, it’s important to remember that this is all speculation. That said, Nash certainly has the credentials to back up his estimates.

Streaming community mindblown by NICKMERCS’ epic new gaming room – Dexerto
Streaming community mindblown by NICKMERCS’ epic new gaming room Superstar Twitch streamer Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff finally revealed his highly-anticipated brand new gaming studio that he will be streaming from, and it’s gotten everyone mindblown. When NICKMERCS first moved back to Michigan in May, one of the first things he announced was that he’d commissioned a streaming and gaming lounge to be built inside of his home. It quickly became apparent, based on his initial descriptions, that the room would probably be unlike anything anyone’s seen before, and that became evident on December 30, when Nick finally revealed it to his fan-base and the world. “Eight months, and it’s finally all complete,” he said. “I can’t wait to show you guys this. This is a dream for me, this is unbelievable sh*t. When I take you through this room, you’ll be blown away.” “We’ve actually invested a lot in this streaming and gaming space,” he went on. “We went all out. This is my home, this is where I’m going to raise my family and my kids. I’m going to retire from being a streamer in this room.” Entrance and antechamber At first glance, when entering the studio, one might think they’ve just stumbled across a high-end nightclub. The lounge, dark in its bare nature, is lit up with a lot of bright, neon lighting and a galaxy ceiling, which is “1,400 individual strands of fiber optic wire coming from three different drivers.” The entryway features the NICKMERCS MFAM spartan logo embedded as a large neon sign in the ground, followed by an antechamber fitted with a comfortable couch and a flat-screen TV hanging over a fireplace. Streaming area The main area of the studio is split into two parts – Nick’s actual streaming desk, and a gaming area for others to enjoy. The streaming desk is as state-of-the-art as it gets, fitted with top-of-the-line PCs and monitors, and enough space for him to freely maneuver around. In front of him is a refrigerator that Nick jokingly claimed was “made by aliens in outer space.” Thanks to some absurdly advanced technology, the glass doors of the fridge are fitted with monitors that can be customized to display images and animations, while still being clear enough for someone to see through to the contents inside. The room’s design is spectacular, to say the least. The ceiling and walls surrounding the streaming desk features a plethora of hexagonal soundproofing panels, which, according to Nick’s assistant and tech expert Ulises ‘uLeeT’ Salazar, were designed solely for this project, and cannot be found anywhere else. Gaming zone The other section of the main area is where family, friends, and visitors can enjoy playing games, almost like a mini-LAN center but with the most up-to-date technology. Each of the four stations has a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and high-end PC, with specs that are not too dissimilar to the computers that he himself uses to stream. Read More: How to get Ninja’s Adidas sneakers – On the shelves are peripherals and gaming equipment provided by Nick’s partners ASTRO Gaming, SCUF Gaming, and Logitech, all programmed and synced to work instantly with any of the setups that are there. Despite all of this technology, however, what grabs the eye first is a stunning waterfall located on the back wall, adding to what is an overall five-star atmosphere. Community reactions Many of NICKMERCS’ fellow star streamers and content creators chimed in with their opinion on this new gaming space, and there was a clear consensus that it was nothing like anyone had ever seen before. Ninja, who has a spectacular streaming room of his own, was the first to admit that his pales in comparison to Nick’s. Nickmercs new Gaming BASEMENT blows mine out of the water. It’s incredibly creative and elegant. Love it! Congrats @NICKMERCS — Ninja (@Ninja) December 30, 2019 Here are some of the other community reactions to the reveal. BRO THIS A SPACESHIP? BRO WHAT I LOOK LIKE IM STREAMING OUT OF A CARDBOARD BOX — dakotaz (@dakotaz) December 30, 2019 Bro this part had me dying in your new video @NICKMERCS 😭😂 For real everyone this is the craziest gaming room I’ve ever seen go check it out pic.twitter.com/lvHrHH1c10 — Cizzorz (@cizzorz) December 30, 2019 Maybe the only bittersweet aspect of revealing the room is that Nick won’t be able to use it for a few months as he will be down in Florida for the winter. Once he’s back home and streaming from it regularly, he’ll probably never want to leave it again.

Streamers stunned by Drake & Kendrick Lamar diss tracks as feud continues – Dexerto
Streamers stunned by Drake & Kendrick Lamar diss tracks as feud continues Instagram: champagnepapi, YouTube: Kendrick LamarFrom Drake’s ‘First Person Shooter’ to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us,’ the two rappers have gone head-to-head in a multi-song rap war. While the two continue to release their diss tracks, influencers are weighing in with their thoughts. Rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been in a multi-song rap feud since this April. While the two are generally considered to be in the top three best rappers of all time, they’ve dug up details about each other and have exposed many speculations within at least 11 songs. From Drake levying allegations of domestic abuse toward Kendrick to Kendrick claiming that Drake has a daughter he’s keeping a secret, there have been plenty of rumors addressed in their lyrics. The rap battle has become so legendary that popular personalities like Elon Musk and Rick Ross have weighed in with their opinions. “Everyone is talking about this battle!” tweeted X owner Elon Musk in response to DJ Akademiks asking fans who was winning the feud. “February 3, 1959 — The day music died. May 3, 2024 — The day music was revived,” tweeted Twitch streamer QTCinderella after the release of three diss tracks in one day. YouTube streamer Ludwig even made his opinion known after tweeting, “I only want Drake to keep replying so I can listen to more Kendrick songs.” Rapper Rick Ross has also spoken heavily on the feud, picking Kendrick’s side after telling “white boy” Drake in a social media post to not bother with writing another response. Rick Ross telling Drake not to respond 💀 — Complex Music (@ComplexMusic) April 30, 2024 “”Don’t respond… don’t go write an 8 minute verse.”” pic.twitter.com/eusG9QVr5v And when Drake dropped Kai Cenat’s name on ‘Push Ups,’ the streamer reacted by saying, “Rewind the tune! I like this! I like this bruh! Oh my gosh, we got motion.” Drake x Kendrick Lamar feud explained Drake and J Cole’s song ‘First Person Shooter’ in 2023 didn’t impress Kendrick Lamar despite him being regarded as one of the “big three” rappers in J Cole’s lyrics, “Love when they argue the hardest MC. Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? We the big three like we started a league.” As months went on with no musical response, Kendrick finally released alarming lyrics in ‘Like That’ on March 22. “Motherf*k the Big Three, n****, it’s just big me,” he rapped about Drake and J Cole. Drake then fired back with ‘Push Ups’ and ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’ on April 19, but had the latter deleted from streaming platforms after the rapper used an unapproved AI-generated verse of the late Tupac Shakur. While Drake insinuated in the lyrics of ‘Push Ups’ that Kendrick was extorted by his former record label Top Dawg Entertainment, Kendrick took a week to fire up his response ‘Euphoria’ where he rapped, “Extortion my middle name as soon as you jump off of that plane, b*tch.” Kendrick even dug deeper into his hatred for Drake by rapping quotes from the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You. Kendrick then released ‘6:16 in L.A.’ on May 3 where he doubled down on calling Drake a deadbeat dad on his previous release. The title includes “6:16” to symbolize Father’s Day, as America uses that date annually to celebrate father figures. He also called the ‘NWTS’ rapper out for having fake friends in his circle by saying people on his team were “whispering” about him. Drake responded to Kendrick by dropping ‘Family Matters’ on the same day as a way to defend himself against Kendrick’s allegations of him being an absentee father. He also called the ‘Duckworth’ rapper out for alleged domestic violence. That’s when Kendrick dropped ‘Meet The Grahams,” where he went in on Drake for allegedly having a second child that he has never admitted to having. The child is supposedly an 11-year-old girl. These allegations come years after Pusha T revealed Drake had a secret son, Adonis, which turned out to be true. Kendrick also released a second track on May 3 entitled ‘Not Like Us,’ where he insinuated that his rap nemesis was a sex offender. The detail in the song’s cover art also proposed the same thing, as Kendrick made it look as though registered offenders were flagged in Drake’s mansion, much like websites do online. While some fans would like to see Drake fire back, lyrics in ‘Family Matters’ indicated he may be taking a break from dissing Kendrick. “I’m goin’ on vacation now, hope next time, y’all plan it right,” Drake rapped.

10 streamers we’d like to see in a WWE ring – Dexerto
10 streamers we’d like to see in a WWE ring WWE / Corinna Kopf / Dr Disrespect / Tyler1 / ValkyraeAs WWE opens its doors to streamers and YouTubers jumping into the squared circle, we take a look at a list of content creators that should follow in the footsteps of Logan Paul. Between April 10-11, Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment business gave everybody around the world a taste of normality again as fans packed out sections of the Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa, Florida. For months, the roster had been performing in front of a wall of television monitors with fans watching along at home, due to the global healthcare crisis. On Day 2 of WrestleMania 37, the biggest Pay-Per-View event on the company’s 2021 calendar, it might have been a shock for casual fans to see Logan Paul appear in a match with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The match ended with Owens delivering a devastating Stunner to the boxer, who was booed strongly right throughout the segment. The YouTuber didn’t just generate a strong negative reaction – which is money where WWE is concerned – but he will have also brought some of his massive following along for the ride to see him on such a grand stage. For perspective, he has nearly 19 million followers on Instagram alone, which dwarfs even the company’s hottest talents. Roman Reigns, for example, only has 4.3 million. It should be no surprise to see massive internet personalities like this get involved with programming, due to their popularity. As the trend of streamers and influencers showing up in WWE doesn’t seem to be slowing down, let’s run through a list of streamers we think would be perfect for a surprise future storyline. Tyler1 Showing off his muscles on stream in tank tops is all well and good, but this League of Legends streamer needs a bigger stage to impress on. Tyler1 looks like somebody who would thrive in front of the WWE cameras – a trash-talker if we’ve ever seen one. He’s got the look, the charisma, and his 4.2 million following on Twitch would absolutely lap up an appearance in the Cruiserweight division. Read More: Top 10 most-liked YouTube videos – Or, with the massive amount of momentum behind YouTuber boxing, maybe Tyler could face off against long-term rival Dr Disrespect. The pair have been involved in online spats in the past, but imagine they locked horns at a PPV in a fully scripted match. With the size difference, it could be a David vs. Goliath situation. Commentators have had storylines before, so it’s not even out of the question. We’re looking at you, Michael Cole. TimTheTatman TimTheTatman has proven in the past that he can carry an entire game on his back with Fall Guys, so he’d definitely be entertaining in the ring. The content creator has 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube, not to mention another 6.4 million followers on Twitch. The guy is loved by his audience and nobody would argue against him being a very likable performer on-screen, making him a perfect babyface character. His consistent loss streak on Fall Guys went viral time and time again, building up to what was one of 2020’s biggest moments on the internet when he finally grabbed himself a crown in-game. In recent years, WWE has seen huge success with loss streaks for wrestlers and doing something similar with this tattooed streamer could be even better. xQc Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is the type of guy that can go viral without even meaning it. Whether it’s getting banned for overstepping the mark in a video game like GTA RP, or coming up with an incredibly funny clip that millions of people end up seeing on social media, the Canadian has it all. Read More: Best GTA RP servers and how to join them – Despite looking like a Cruiserweight in wrestling terms. you can definitely see a bit of Rick Flair in him. If he stuck to the theatrics, the dark arts and cheating to get wins, xQc could be the perfect heel. People would want to boo him out the building, meanwhile his loyal fans would enjoy every second of it. Corinna Kopf There’s a blueprint for big influencers to follow in order to get an opportunity in WWE, and Corinna Kopf certainly has the audience to get her on that track. The Instagram model and streamer has a following of over 5.4 million on Insta, 1.77 million subscribers on YouTube, and looks like a star. Thinking about a route to wrestling can be difficult for everybody that’s never wrestled before, but she could take inspiration from Mandy Rose in WWE. She rose to prominence in a season of Tough Enough in 2015, a reality show where the company tries to build its next big star with contestants. After the grueling process, Amanda – her real name – transformed herself from Instagram influencer to one of the best on the roster. With a bit of hard work, Kopf could follow the same pattern – and her fanbase would definitely watch along for the ride. NICKMERCS Not many other streamers quite have the intensity of NICKMERCS on camera. His newest fans might just know him for his commitment to Call of Duty Warzone, but the FaZe Clan creator’s success has ultimately came for jumping on trends. The 30-year-old certainly wouldn’t look out of place in the wrestling ring and he’s already got a massive merchandise range behind him, meaning he’s probably just as marketable as the WWE Superstars of today. Read More: Top 20 most followed Twitch streamers – The foundation is there. If he worked on his in-ring skills, Nick could do a job for Vince McMahon. Valkyrae The streaming world has been dominated by powerful women in recent years, just like WWE. In wrestling, Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair and many others have been dominating main events and making a case for women to have a more even playing field in terms of opportunities. On YouTube and Twitch, there’s always competition between male and female streaming stars to see who can draw the largest audience. In 2020, she was named the top female streamer and in 2021 she’s blowing away the competition again. As seen below, the 100 Thieves star has had over 12.2 million hours watched – and that’s rising every day. 🚀@Valkyrae is by far the most-watched female streamer in 2021 so far! pic.twitter.com/eKu5sv8Jyd — Dexerto (@Dexerto) April 7, 2021 As WWE fans will know so well already, the crowd decides who goes over in this business – and with numbers like this, without a doubt Valkyrae would be a hit in the ring. Knut Knut is one of the biggest attractions to the Just Chatting sections on Twitch, and when we say big – we mean big! Streaming about his life as a bodybuilder in Norway, he’ll take his fans around with him anywhere. It could be a trip to the shop, a session in the gym, or preparing meals at home. Now, for wrestling fans, you may remember a wrestler called Ryback a few years back. “Feed me more!” was his slogan, and Knut looks to be in that sort of ballpark in terms of his size – standing 6ft 5. With a traditional wrestler build and a strong personality, it would be a natural move for him to get in the squared circle and dominate a whole host of jobbers. SweetAnita Sweet Anita actually looks a lot more prepared for ring action than the rest. She clearly puts in the hard yards in the gym already, so there’s already a foundation for a career in wrestling. With 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube and another 1.6 million followers on Twitch, the British streamer has already built up a base of popularity as well. The good thing about WWE as well is that they do actually run some gaming content on their networks, such as UpUpDownDown – a channel created by Xavier Woods. There’s no reason why she couldn’t be a killer in the ring and in the roster tournaments playing video games, too. broxh We’ve seen some lumberjacks in WWE over the years (in fact there’s a match named after them), and we’ve found the closest thing to it on Twitch. Streamer broxh will sit there streaming all day, chopping up and lifting wood on camera. As you might expect, he’s a big lad and would definitely be tough to lift up into a big exploder suplex. Many wrestling talents spend years looking for the right character to portray, but this woodcarver already has thousands of people hooked. With 1.3 million followers on Twitch and a whole load of wooden weapons to bring down to any arena of his choosing, he could be a perfect fit for a No Disqualification match. Dr Disrespect Last, but certainly not least, is Dr Disrespect. WWE is a familiar arena for the Doc, who showed up at a SmackDown live show back in October 2019 looking for a fight. That followed weeks of stream promos showing him staring at the Undertaker, one of the most iconic showmen the business has ever seen. On Twitch and YouTube, he’s had – by far – the best production for his streams. Read More: Top 10 Dr Disrespect rages of all time – Just look at this promo, for example, back when the Phenom appeared on his broadcast. Ultimately, his character is actually very similar to that of wrestling creations. He acts on-screen with a persona that’s pretty much a larger-than-life character. Dr Disrespect is the loudmouthed, flashy, and arrogant competitor that Guy Beahm was never going to become – and he relishes playing the ‘tough guy’ part. There’s no doubt that it would be amazing to see the Two-Time Blockbuster Video Game World Champion make a play for the WWE 24/7 Championship. Can you imagine him picking up the title in a fluke victory, only to wear it on YouTube for months and refuse to show up? That title is a bit of a joke anyway, so this would be the ultimate payoff if they wanted to get a streamer involved. Have we missed anyone out? Let us know on Twitter @Dexerto and maybe we’ll add to the list in the future.

Streamers slam Twitch over new ‘Celebrations’ feature taking 50% of tips – Dexerto
Streamers slam Twitch over new ‘Celebrations’ feature taking 50% of tips UnsplashTwitch have sparked controversy after testing their new ‘Celebrations’ feature again as they’ve begun ‘targeting’ donations – with a reported 50/50 split. [jwplayer mfcRpjb4] Plenty of Twitch viewers are desperate to get involved with their favorite streamer – either simply as an active member of chat or someone who supports the stream with their own money. This typically comes through subbing to a channel, by purchasing bits from Twitch itself, or donating through a StreamLabs link. The first two of these options support both Twitch and the streamer as each party receives a cut of the money. Donations, however, all go through to the streamer, usually through third parties like StreamLabs and PayPal, and Twitch doesn’t get a cut of those. That could be set to change with their new Celebrations feature – though it has sparked backlash. The feature in question was being tested back in June, with subscriptions and bits kicking off an on-screen celebration animation which usually came in the form of fireworks. However, with Twitch testing the feature again, streamer Zach Bussey noted that they are now targeting donations through Celebrations as streamers can set a donation amount that will trigger the animations. On top of this, Bussey noted that the split for these Celebration donations is set at 50/50 and says it’s being pushed “hard” as the button to trigger it has been placed prominently between the follow and subscribe buttons. Also worth noting, they are going to be pushing this HARD with its own button sandwiched between Follow and Subscribe! pic.twitter.com/aUzYeMeSmk — Zach Bussey (@zachbussey) October 23, 2020 With the news of the feature quickly spreading on social media, a number of streamers took aim at Twitch’s 50/50 split on the donations. Read More: How to use viral copy and paste app ClipDrop – “Thank f**k I can opt out, lol” tweeted streamer Vio, while others like ShannonZKiller and NeonDan urged their fellow creators and viewers to not use the feature if it does become a permanent addition on Twitch. It was a matter of time, but in the same breath as not providing us sufficient content copyright tools for the last EIGHT years, @twitch are now also grabbing for your tip income. HALF of it. However, the streaming giants are taking feedback on the feature’s test from their streamers, so it could be in for some tweaks before everyone is able to use it.

Streamer’s sons have perfect response to trolls asking mom to “cover up” – Dexerto
Streamer’s sons have perfect response to trolls asking mom to “cover up” Danidosgamer, Twitch / Freepik.comTwitch streamer “danidos” was confronted by a troll during a January broadcast — but thanks to her quick-witted sons, the hateful viewer was put in their place in a humiliating way. It’s no secret that women on Twitch encounter a slew of different issues from their male counterparts, with many female streamers having been confronted with mean-spirited viewers who accuse them of using their bodies for views, among other insults. While there’s no knocking anyone’s hustle, such harassment certainly gets tiring — but mother, hairstylist, and streamer “danidos” had an unlikely advocate during her own confrontation with sexist comments. Danidos went live during a January broadcast when a troll accused her of being a “titty streamer” and asked her to “cover up” her body, prompting her to ask her 14-year-old son about his thoughts on the matter. “How do you feel about people saying I’m a boobie streamer?” she asked. Although there’s never any telling what will come out of an adolescent’s mouth, his reply was nothing short of hilarious, answering, “Just because you’ve never seen them before doesn’t mean you have to say that.” Needless to say, the youngster’s well-timed roast sent his mother into a humored shock — but that wasn’t the only hilarity to come out of the situation. Danidos’ conversation also caught the attention of her youngest son, who chimed in with an equally funny quip. “Are we talking about boobies or bellybuttons?” he asked. And then there’s my youngest… pic.twitter.com/IOsdbGeaM5 — ?LIVE ON TWITCH Danidos? (@danidosgamer) January 21, 2020 The interaction has since gone viral online, but some are labeling the moment “cringe,” which Danidos claimed was her exact intention when bringing her son into the confrontation. “To the people saying I’m ‘cringe…’ 100% yes,” she wrote of the criticism. “I’m a mom… I do things to make my son go, ‘Omg mom!’ That was the intent of this. But if you knew me, you’d know that.” To the people saying I’m “cringe”… 100% yes. I’m a mom… I do things to make my son go “omg mom!” 🙂 that was the intent of this. But if you knew me, you’d know that 😉 — ?LIVE ON TWITCH Danidos? Streamer’s run-in with wild fox is cutest thing you’ll see today – Dexerto
Streamer’s run-in with wild fox is cutest thing you’ll see today Twitch streamer maxadrums_ came face-to-face with a wild fox and instead of being afraid, he held his hand out and began petting it. Twitch is the home of many things outside of just video games so viewers never really know what to expect on any given day. In the Just Chatting section, you can find just about anything, including this streamer having a rather wholesome encounter with a wild fox in his backyard after seeing it for the past several days. Maxadrums was streaming from his yard when he came across a full-grown fox, but instead of staying away from it as most people would with wild animals, he became friendly with it and even got it to come up to him. He began to pet the fox and the two shared a cool moment that didn’t result in anyone being bit, scratched, or hurt. Wild animals generally aren’t the safest to approach since you don’t know what their intentions are nor do you know what types of diseases they could be carrying. Of course, it appears this streamer runs into the same fox every single day so he felt it was safe to let it come up to him, possibly assuming if it was going to attack him then it would have done so already. He’s grown so comfortable with the fox he even lets it inside. Maxadrums is a relatively small streamer on Twitch, coming in at just over 1,000 followers, but if he has more wildlife on his stream like this in the future, he could be growing before he knows it. He has a special camera setup for close-ups of the fox, and it obliges by putting its face right up to the lens. In fact, the Just Chatting section of Twitch has been growing rapidly over the past year. It is far and away the fastest-growing section of Twitch and it looks like there’s no end in sight for it. While games like Fortnite and League of Legends remain more popular, there’s not much else out there that competes with the viewers that Just Chatting brings.
