  • Streamer accuses Twitch of permabanning her for being “Black and curvy” – Dexerto

Streamer accuses Twitch of permabanning her for being “Black and curvy” Instagram/exohydrax4Controversial Twitch streamer ExoHydraX is accusing the platform of racism and claims she was permabanned for being “Black and curvy.” ExoHydraX has had a rocky relationship with the Amazon-owned streaming site, having been suspended multiple times in her career. The streamer, a former competitive Call of Duty player, had previously been banned due to “sexually suggestive” hot tub broadcasts and even for including a link to OnlyFans in her Linktree. Now, the streamer has been banned yet again, this time seemingly for good – and she’s accusing the site of having double standards as it pertains to what is allowed on the platform. Streamer says Twitch banned her despite being “fully dressed” In a series of videos posted to Twitter, ExoHydraX claimed that she wasn’t doing a hot tub stream when she was permabanned and was just sitting down talking to chat. “I was not even in a bikini. I was fully dressed,” she said, revealing she was wearing a red tube top and black shorts. “I did not turn once with this outfit! Not once. You know why I didn’t turn? Because I knew they would ban.” She went on to say that even though she didn’t turn, Twitch took issue with the fact she is “curvy and Black” before referencing content from White streamers that didn’t result in any action taken. The banned streamer added another video showing off another content creator doing squats with a mirror to focus on her rear end, something that ExoHydraX says would never have been allowed on her channel. “You’ve been bullying me for years,” she blasted. “I’m scared to do hot tub streams because of you. Even when I don’t turn around, you still find a way to permaban me! For what?” Twitch doesn’t comment on individual bans, so it’s unlikely they’ll make an exception in this case, but interestingly, this is the second time she has been “permabanned.” Previously, the streamer was banned for eight months straight before being allowed back on the site. Will history repeat itself? Only time will tell.

  • Twitch streamer AngelsKimi under fire for driving with phone in hand – Dexerto

Twitch streamer AngelsKimi under fire for driving with phone in hand Instagram: AngelsKimi/UnsplashTwitch streamer Angelskimi has come under fire for holding her phone in her hand while driving during a live broadcast, amid continued scrutiny about dangerous driving on the platform. AngelsKimi is one of Twitch’s most popular in-real-life [IRL] streamers around – amassing over 250,000 followers on her channel. Thousands of viewers tune in to watch her broadcasts – whether he’s out and about, or playing Minecraft with some other streamers. However, it is a recent IRL stream from her car that has landed AngelsKimi in hot water with some fans. 600During her September 7 stream, AngelsKimi had been IRL streaming from her car along with a friend for a few hours, when viewers questioned why she had her phone in-hand. The streamer, who was behind the wheel, was seen looking down for a few moments at the phone, while another – which was recording the whole thing – was attached to the windscreen with the camera and Twitch chat on. After the clip went viral on Reddit, the streamer stepped in to defend herself – explaining that the phone was in her hand for directions. “Just to clarify, when I drive I’m not looking at the streaming phone. I stated that numerous times in my stream,” she said. “The phone in my hand has Google Maps, I occasionally glance at directions and I do that while driving.” However, that explanation didn’t go down too well with Redditors who quickly jumped to inform her of her major mistake. “I’m pretty sure it’s illegal in California to drive with a phone in your hand anyway, even if you were looking at directions. It’s distracted driving and is dangerous,” replied user ClassicKobe. Another, Paaaul, added: “Disappointed to see you react this way – there’s zero excuse for distracted driving when lives are on the line. It’s nothing to do with streaming at the end of the day. It’s just a dumb, unnecessary risk. And if you were using google maps, why not have it speak the directions like any other normal GPS?” Another user was confused as to why the streamer thought that the directions defense was acceptable. “So, because it’s Google maps, it’s okay to drive with the phone in hand while looking down at it as you’re driving?” they asked. Others, however, pointed out that it was having a phone in the hand while driving has gotten other streamers banned in the past. As of writing, AngelsKimi’s Twitch account is still live and hasn’t yet received any blowback for their on-stream use of the phone. It remains to be seen, however, if she will suffer any consequences for doing so or if it will blow over by the next time she goes live. Other streamers have faced bans for driving streams in the past.

  • Twitch takes action against Linktree? Streamer accuses platform of double standards after indefinite ban – Dexerto

Twitch takes action against Linktree? Streamer accuses platform of double standards after indefinite ban Twitter/ExoHydraXA Twitch streamer is accusing the site of unfairly banning her because of content in her Linktree – something that many others on the platform use to promote their projects. Update – July 19 at 5:51 EST Twitch has suddenly unbanned ExoHydraX after only eight hours, telling the streamer that the ban was made an error. The unban comes after Twitch was accused of unfairly targeting her for posting a Linktree on her chat that contained links to OF content. Linktree is a popular tool that content creators use to present all their links in one place so their fans can easily find them. This includes Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch… The list goes on and on. Linktree been quite controversial in that it allows for some creators to promote their adult content indirectly, seeing as Linktree serves as a middle-man. Dexerto has reached out to ExoHydraX for comment. Original story follows… On July 19, the streamer was banned from the platform, apparently because of her Linktree. https://twitter.com/ExoHydraX/status/1417154640731418630 Screenshots posted by ExoHydraX show Twitch claiming that she was banned for “soliciting money, services, or items of value for sexual conduct.” They also claim that this occurred in her public chat or in private. ExoHydraX also took issue with the fact the other streamers, such as Amouranth, are able to have Linktrees and Twitch hasn’t taken action against their accounts. “I had a Linktree command in my chat that linked to my OF. Just like many other streamers do ‘!socials’, which pops a Linktree and when you click on that it takes you to an OF page,” she told Dexerto. “But I am now the first to receive a ban for it.” https://twitter.com/ExoHydraX/status/1417157369470066701 “I never ever directly linked to OF and we actually banned people who do and used !OF command,” she added. According to the streamer, if a viewer asked about OF, the command would read: “Onlyfans/Patreon talk is not allowed due to the TOS” in order to prevent people from talking about it. This isn’t the first time that ExoHydraX has been banned either. Back in May, she accused Twitch of “racism” after being suspended for a controversial hot tub broadcast. “I have a history of not being treated fairly with other girls on Twitch. I always get punished when others don’t and my body type is pretty much the reason why,” she told Dexerto. “If you’re curvier than the average thin streamer you’re seen as more sexual even though both streamers could be wearing and doing the same thing.” https://twitter.com/ExoHydraX/status/1417167801144520714 It’s unclear if Twitch really is cracking down on Linktree content or if there was something else that resulted in ExoHydraX’s ban. Twitch doesn’t comment on individual suspensions, so it’s unlikely that we hear anything from them about this. We’ll have to wait and see if Twitch issues a statement about Linktree going forward or if ExoHydraX’s indefinite ban was a one-off for another reason entirely.

  • Streamer accidentally leaks how much money Twitch Bounties can reward – Dexerto

Streamer accidentally leaks how much money Twitch Bounties can reward Twitch / Twitter, @LudwigAhgrenAnswering a question many have been curious about, a Twitch streamer has leaked the amount of money that high-profile creators can make from their Twitch Bounty Board. [jwplayer 91I9RIGm] Twitch Bounties present the platform’s in-app way for streamers to earn sponsorship deal money without any agents or third-party communication. Launched back in 2018, the offering allows streamers to partner with sponsors and promote their product in different ways, with maximum payouts that vary depending on concurrent viewership and streamer profile. Ludwig ‘ludwig’ Ahren has roots in Super Smash Bros. Melee playing and commentating, but is better known to many as a Twitch streamer and general content creator. He has over 800,000 followers on Twitch and, per TwitchMetrics, boasts the third-most-watched “Just Chatting” channel on the platform. As such, ludwig is expected to earn more than the average streamer for his sponsorship opportunities. But, he’s leaked his Mountain Dew Game Fuel Twitch Bounty partnership and now fans and aspiring creators alike can put a money figure, in the thousands, to the nebulous sponsorship system. ever wonder how much big streamers get paid for Twitch Bounties? it looks like Twitch streamer Ludwig accidently leaked the amount he was getting paid for his Game Fuel Bounty and it was a max payout of $7202 pic.twitter.com/0LONUpf1Of — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) November 18, 2020 While working through his Game Fuel can, ludwig accidentally leaves his stream on a screen that shares his Twitch Bounty dashboard. The opportunity’s requirements include playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and, more importantly, discussing Game Fuel’s “talking points” during the session. While those talking points can’t be seen, viewers can see just how much ludwig can make from the maximum payout for this Bounty: $7,202. That payout is also nestled alongside hyperlinked “terms,” suggesting that there are nuances to the possible tiers of payment a streamer can earn for their partnerships. As has been mentioned in the past, these are likely tied to concurrent viewership and the like, which tally a brand’s overall reach for the advertisement opportunity. Owned by PepsiCo, Mountain Dew is no stranger to big investments. The brand has already partnered with the gaming world, infamously thanks to some Call of Duty League commercials, and appears willing to double down on that audience. This is proven by streamers who aren’t specialized in Call of Duty, like ludwig, getting up to $7,202 for Game Fuel Twitch Bounties. If that’s the case, then one has to imagine that others must also be cashing in similar deposits from their product placement opportunities.

  • Streamer accused of stream-sniping Valorant pro after Twitch ads play in background – Dexerto

Streamer accused of stream-sniping Valorant pro after Twitch ads play in background Riot GamesValorant pro Ryan ‘Shanks’ Ngo found himself in a wild duel against an alleged stream sniper who may have exposed himself as watching his opponent during their match. There isn’t a single streamer on the planet who enjoys being stream sniped. Harkening back to the days of split-screen multiplayer, stream sniping allows for players in the same lobby to know where you are on a map and use that to their advantage. It’s unfair to say the least and some streamers resort to playing on a bit of a delay to protect themselves at the expense of a delayed chat interaction. Amusingly, while viewers may not completely relate to the stream sniper struggles, ads are a whole other story and they’re exactly what seemed to expose Twitch streamer ‘atlidx’ when he was matched with Shanks. https://twitter.com/Shanks_TTV/status/1438482282034176003 During the game, atlidx seemed to look over at another screen while an ad started to play in the background. “What if I told you about a kid?” the ad began before being cut off, seemingly because atldix muted it. The moment didn’t go undetected, however, as the Rush player would later tweet out a video of the ad playing, captioning it, “at least he doesn’t have AdBlock on.” In the comments, users reported being banned from the streamer’s channel for bringing up the supposed stream sniping incident. Atlidx, however, is denying stream sniping, but not that Twitch ads played. According to the streamer, he had Twitch open because a friend linked him to a live broadcast. Additonally, he says and he had more viewers than normal to keep up with in chat so he was looking at his second monitor often — not at Shanks’ stream. Whatever the case, Atlidx is probably going to want to subscribe to channels from now on to avoid any stream-sniping accusations.

These streamers are up-and-coming broadcasters who are fighting for their place in the uber-competitive landscape of livestreaming, and who face even harsher competition because of their protected characteristics. The Creator Diversity Fund will provide them “a wide range of support from StreamElements which includes graphics, production, and mentorship.” Additionally, SteelSeries is onboard to provide all recipients with Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headsets. StreamElements said they were inspired to start the fund, due to an acknowledgment that these creators, in underrepresented groups, face extra challenges in the livestreaming space. StreamElements Creator Diversity Fund Recipients 3llebelle – Aquarterghost – BigWillieIsms – CtrlAltQuin – DragonQueenTTV – Flera – Goofywisetv – Kilcannon – KiwiOnTheSticks – Lucanaii – MondaScott – Nelinde – SheGamerxo – SpringSims – StraightOuttaTokyo – StreetGrind – Teknikalx – TiffanyWitcher – Utxjgthedon – Zombaekillz – The creators were selected due to the type of content they were producing, their dedication to livestreaming, and their own insights provided when they applied. The fund hopes to be “a way to help elevate their presence and voice in an ecosystem where discovery and access to information is an issue.” Marc, who goes by Teknikalx on Twitch, told us “I applied for the fund because I thought it would be beneficial for my channel to receive additional support to give the channel a more professional look vs what I have now. Also to bring to light that programs like this exist and if a channel such as mine can receive support in this manner, other channels can too.” Teknikalx boasts over 5,000 followers on Twitch, but says that having the support of StreamElements ‘Dream Team’ will “give a boost to my channel in the extra visibility to my content. I truly believe that the access to doors that would otherwise be closed will open, with their support to show that my content is worth not only checking out but supporting.” Fellow streamer StreetGrind, who streams everything from Fall Guys to Horizon Zero Dawn, said the support from the Creator Diversity fund will take his “content and brand to the next level in overall aesthetics as well as consistency.” “I’m hoping to use this support to increase my discoverability on who I am and what my brand is about. Improving every day one step at a time and helping others along the way,” he explained. “We stand stronger together instead of individually.” Another recipient, GoofyWise, similarly hopes the support will push his stream further and provide a better viewing experience. “Opportunities like these are rare especially those targeted to people who look like me.” “I plan to use this opportunity to take my channel to the next level by giving my stream an increased level of professionalism that will attract viewers from all around,” he told Dexerto. “Not to mention the added confidence boost from having a higher quality look and feel. Look good, feel good!” The support will include guidance on growing their brand, securing sponsorships, merchandising, and all other facets of growing and maintaining an audience. StreamElements is one of the leading third-party services used by countless streamers to manage their donations, overlays, alerts and more while they are broadcasting. “Livestreaming is not an easy profession and it can be even more daunting for members of underrepresented groups,” said Doron Nir, CEO, StreamElements. “With the Creator Diversity Fund, our goal is to provide those invaluable industry insights on top of improving all aspects of their channels.” Each of the 20 recipients will have an “account manager”, with 24/7 assistance, and provided a selection of “in-game overlays, alerts, emotes, transitions, sub badges, headers, tipping pages, info panels, and logos,” customized for their channel.

  • StreamElements respond after glitch leaves streamers thousands of dollars out of pocket – Dexerto

StreamElements respond after glitch leaves streamers thousands of dollars out of pocket StreamElementsStreamElements have responded after an issue with HelloFresh sponsorships left creators thousands of dollars out of pocket. StreamElements is an incredibly popular site with content creators of all platforms, making it simple for live streamers to introduce sponsorships, overlays, tipping services and more into their streams. It is used by a plethora of content creators from the world’s most visited streaming sites, including YouTube and Twitch. However, on November 18, a number of creators reported major issues with the service, leaving them thousands of dollars out of pocket as a result of a StreamElements glitch pertaining to HelloFresh sponsorships. One affected creator ‘strawb‘ shared an image of their PayPal account displaying a balance of ‘-$2,449’, saying that a StreamElements sponsorship was the cause of the problem. Others concurred, with creator ‘Phantuums‘ displaying a balance of over -$7,000, while ‘yessica‘ saw their balance taken to over -$400. They said: “If you did a HelloFresh sponsorship with StreamElements check your email I’m negative $500 what the f**k. They took my money without reason.” Given the severity of the issue, StreamElements were quick to respond. They said it was related to an issue over HelloFresh sponsorships, and encouraged anyone affected to get in touch. “The team is aware of a payment issue related to HelloFresh campaigns and this is currently being resolved,” they said. “An email has gone out to all Creators affected by this issue with updates, so please check your email associated with your StreamElements account…Thanks in advance for everyone’s patience as we make these updates.” They did not delve into the specifics of what caused the problems but, given their severity and the amounts of money involved, many were reassured by the prompt response and commitment to fixing the issue. We can assume that those involved will see the money returned and the issues fully ironed out.

StreamElements Creator Diversity Program 2023 winners StreamElementsStreamElements, one of the most popular services used by streamers to monetize their content, returned for a third year with the Creator Diversity Program. 16 recipients from underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds have now been confirmed, and will receive both funding and support. The Creator Diversity Program (CDP) first started in 2020, with the aim of providing tools, guidance and funding to streamers from marginalized groups. Now in its third year, a total of sixteen streamers have been selected, netting $3,000 to spend on improving their streams however they like, as well as workshops, a personal StreamElements manager, a Razer Stream Controller X, and more. Among the winners are those representing various “underrepresented” groups in streaming, including People of Color (PoC), Women, the LGBTQIA+, and Individuals with disabilities.” Learn more about some of the winners here, and how you they plan to take advantage of program. The 16 recipients of the Creator Diversity Program 2023 are a mixture of Twitch partners and affiliates, who convinced the selection committee with their passion for content, inclusivity, and burgeoning streaming careers. “Some need better equipment and graphics, while others lack guidance and opportunities that can be the stepping stone they are looking for,” said Taylor Shields, CDP co-director at StreamElements. “Our aim is to provide that extra boost given how much adversity there is in this industry.” See below for the exciting opportunities just some of the winners plan to execute, and you a full list of the winners: AlexNorimaki – Amethyst – aymergirl – DaydreamerDan – DorkyAwesomeGuy – esnueil – heykipp – KandidlyKayla – KDotDaGawd – MissMiurgen – PassionsPlanet – Paya111 – sheilur – Skaiday – terriblegaming123 – whinnaay – aymergirl “As a Pakistani Muslim woman, I rarely see any representation of people like me in the gaming space, so I want to use this opportunity to show other gamers with a similar background that it’s possible to make a name for yourself in the industry. I’ve never seen a tournament or event centered around Pakistani or Arab people, but since Apex Legends is my favorite game I took it upon myself to host an Apex tournament in May 2023 named the Curry and Shawarma Tournament. I would like to use what I learn from this program to bring even more awareness and relatable experiences to Desi and Arab communities.” DaydreamerDan “The reason why I applied for this program is because, growing up, I rarely got to see people who look like me in the creative world. It was rare to see AAPI individuals, and when there were, they were often some sort of stereotype. I could probably count the number of AAPI YouTubers I watched on my fingers. And pretty much none of them were bisexual or queer like me. As someone who lacked role models growing up, I understand the importance of representation and aim to be that person for others as part of this program.” Amethyst “As an Ecuadorian content creator we are almost unheard of. People focus on me being Latina first and will jump to conclusions as to what nationality I am. I want to prove that you could be from ANYWHERE and still succeed. You don’t need to fit a certain mold to make it. You just have to take that first step. As someone whose main source of income is creating content, having workshops to further educate myself in this field is extremely important to me. Also, receiving funds from the program means the channel will have a nice upgrade and I’ll have more games to entertain my community with. Ultimately, being a part of this program will make me stronger and more confident in who I am and why I do what I do.” PassionsPlanet “After being recommended by one of my closest friends to apply, I decided to give it a shot. A majority of stream ideas I have collected over the years are usually halted due to budget restrictions and applying felt like an incredible way to potentially elevate the streams, for not only myself but the community too. Also, like anyone else, streaming is expensive — but as a femme streamer, there are so many extra expenses to make. Additional clothing, makeup and wigs are required to keep streams fresh and are a part of my stream budget, while attempting to upgrade my setup. I’m especially excited for it to motivate me to explore other elements of streaming that I’m yet to — such as music and art.” TG aka terriblegaming123 “I applied for this opportunity because I feel BIPOC Creators miss out on a lot of opportunities and are overlooked when it comes to the streaming and gaming space. I want to show as a Black man that you can be successful without gimmicks and being toxic. Hopefully this program will shed light on the comedic value I can bring to this space and open doors for more creators like me who will come after.” KandidlyKayla “Since I’ve been a streamer I have chosen to be a light in this space. I like to show those in my community that there is nothing they can’t accomplish. Especially Black women. I know that when people see me, they see a black woman first. They don’t see a creative woman, a strong woman, a woman willing to stand on the front lines in any situation, they see my skin color first. “There are so many creators that reach out to me, especially since all of the hate raids that happened in 2021, they all want to know how I keep going despite the hate that gets thrown my way. I always tell them, there’s room here for everyone. We can all be great. Don’t let anyone make you feel inferior. Build a community, not just viewership! Be bigger than the negativity that you see and receive on these platforms. I applied to be a part of the StreamElements Creator Diversity Program because as a Black woman in the content creation space it hasn’t been easy to get my name out there and get sponsorships, and other deals, but one of my most successful sponsorships came from StreamElements, so I am excited to see what we do together in the future!” What is the Creator Diversity Program on Twitch? “The inspiration for the Creator Diversity Program was witnessing a lot of the challenges marginalized content creators face from access to mentors and support to opportunities and equipment,” said Taylor Shields, CDP co-director at StreamElements. “Given our experience with all facets of streaming, from the technical side to helping creators engage with their communities through tools and sponsorships, we can help give them the extra boost they might need to move up to the next leg of their journey. At a time when we are seeing the economy impact DEI initiatives across all industries, we view it as an important offering now more than ever.” Streamers who were not selected in the final 16 however, will still be invited to participate in a private Discord server, where they can network, collaborate and learn from each other in a safe environment. Also keep an eye on StreamElements social media, for various shoutouts to these creators too, where you might just find your new favorite channel.

  • Stream sniper sniffs female IRL streamer’s chair after she goes to restaurant bathroom – Dexerto

Stream sniper sniffs female IRL streamer’s chair after she goes to restaurant bathroom A female IRL Twitch streamer was broadcasting from a fast food restaurant when she got up briefly to go to the bathroom. The strangest occurrence happened while she was gone. There always seems to be something weird going down on Twitch, whether it’s just someone having an outburst, or if it’s something a little bit more inappropriate like the guy who accidentally left his stream running while having sex. The latest strange occurrence comes after a stream sniper sniffed a female IRL streamer’s chair after she got up to go to the bathroom. One question: why? In the clip, the unnamed female streamer is sitting in a popular fast food restaurant drinking a soda, before she gets up out of her seat and announces, “Okay, be right back, guys. I need to pee again. Round two. Be right back!” She is out of shot for about 20 seconds before the male customer sitting next to her laughs to his friend, bending over to sniff her seat for a few seconds. “Hahaha, stop! Jesus Christ,” the friend says, as the two erupt into fits of laughter. The action was obviously done in jest, but it’s still gross and very strange. As to why anyone would think that’s an appropriate action to perform in public to a stranger is anyone’s guess. (Mobile viewers can click here to watch the following clip on Streamable.) Twitch can be a weird place Another Twitch streamer caught people’s attention a few days ago, after he showed off his semen-covered wall during a broadcast. User Bingo1 was streaming in his bedroom when a viewer asked him for a room tour. He obliged, but not before showing his watchers his jizz-stained wall. “That is cum stains,” he explains. “Can I show that? Is that against TOS [terms of service]? Can I show cum stains?” he asked as he pointed to the offending white marks. It’s not entirely certain whether he was joking or not, but it certainly looked real.

  • Stream snipers ruin xQc’s wholesome Fortnite match with random duo – Dexerto

Stream snipers ruin xQc’s wholesome Fortnite match with random duo Twitch: xQcOW/Epic GamesAfter joining a duos match with a wholesome kid on Fortnite, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s game was ruined by a set of stream snipers who managed to get into the voice party. xQc’s recent permanent ban from the NoPixel GTA RP server has led the huge Twitch star to begin playing a variety of new games for his audience. Whether it’s Valorant, League of Legends, or even Minecraft, xQc appears to prefer bouncing between games instead of sticking to a single title. So, when the streamer announced that he’d be playing Fornite on June 1, his viewers were over the moon. It had been a long time since xQc had jumped into the world of Fortnite and of course, battle royale content is always exciting to watch. But although the stream began well with xQc meeting a wholesome kid in a duos match, it didn’t take long for stream snipers to ruin the game by joining the in-game party chat. Stream snipers ruin xQc’s Fortnite match During his June 1 stream, xQc decided to play Fortnite and loaded up into a duos match. It didn’t take the streamer long to realize that he was playing with a kid and the pair set out a plan to hopefully pick up the victory royale. The duo even discussed how hard it was to give up cursing and it was obvious xQc’s viewers were enjoying the wholesome interaction. Dropping out of the battle bus, xQc and the kid got off to a good start in the match, taking out multiple opponents and gathering plenty of loot. The streamer even took the time to compliment his duo partner after he helped takeout two enemies in an intense gunfight. “If you keep playing like this we’re gonna win 100 percent,” he said. “I missed all my shots, I missed everything then you came in.” Shortly after this clip, xQc was eliminated from the match and he began spectating the kid who was still alive in the match. Unfortunately, that was when a set of stream snipers managed to gain access to xQc’s voice party. They began cursing and shouting through the mic at the streamer, forcing him to leave the game and end the match with his wholesome duo partner. This left xQc confused over why a bunch of players would risk getting their accounts banned just to get two seconds of air time on stream. “With the price that they put on skins, it’s actually insane that these guys would risk their entire account getting banned…. they leak their full names and s**t, it literally makes no sense.” Although stream snipers are frustrating, the only way to stop them completely is to not play multiplayer titles. For a huge Twitch personality like xQc, this can be a challenge as online games are usually what the majority of viewers want to watch. While the stream snipers did ruin the wholesome match with xQc and the kid, at least the duo was able to play the majority of the game without any interruptions.

  • Stranger Things writers say they will not edit out big continuity error – Dexerto

Stranger Things writers say they will not edit out big continuity error NetflixThe Stranger Things edit rumors sparked lively debate on whether Netflix should or shouldn’t retroactively change a continuity error – and the show’s writers came in to set the record straight. A past Variety interview with the Duffer Brothers convinced fans that a small continuity error would soon get rectified with a post-release edit. The rumor gained even more traction on TikTok where the discourse really started to get out of hand. Opinions ranged from people who were convinced that the retcon would be a bad move for streaming to those who wanted the error to live on. Rumors raged on to the point where some were criticizing Netflix and the Stranger Things team for the supposed decision until the voice of authority stepped in. The Stranger Things team put the divisive topic to rest by addressing the trending topic and promising there will never be an edit to an episode that’s already been published. “Public Service Announcement: no scenes from previous seasons have ever been cut or re-edited. And they never will be,” they said from the ‘Stranger Writers’ Twitter account. This comes after the Duffer Bros. joked about ‘George Lucas-ing’ a plot hole in a Season 4 episode that took place on Will Byers’ birthday. Upon being asked, the writers even extended the guarantee to the Season 1 scene of Jonathan Byers spying on Nancy Wheeler, which some believed had been previously altered. The assurance from the Stranger Things crew came as a relief to many fans who didn’t want to see the popular franchise changed. Stranger Things has been one of Netflix’s continuous hits season after the next, growing into a worldwide phenomenon. The Duffer’s plan to conclude the hit show with Stranger Things Season 5, after which fans all over will have every episode to binge with no alterations, even to continuity errors.

  • Straw Hat Goofy under fire for comments on SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike – Dexerto

Straw Hat Goofy under fire for comments on SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike YouTube: Straw Hat MoviesPopular movie influencer ‘Straw Hat Goofy’ is facing the internet’s ire after making divisive comments regarding the ongoing SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike. The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (or SAG-AFTRA, for short) is currently on strike alongside the Writers’ Guild of America for better pay, protections against AI, and more. As a result, A-List actors have walked out of movie premiers in solidarity, as seen when the cast of Oppenheimer exited the film’s premier ahead of its viral launch this weekend. Guild actors are urging each other not to cross the picket line during the ongoing strike, which has prompted quite a conversation on social media as influencers and those in related fields speak out on the subject. Movie influencer Straw Hat Goofy under fire for actors’ strike comments One such influencer is coming under fire for his thoughts on the strike: ‘Straw Hat Goofy,’ best known for his coverage of all things film-related. Readers may have seen him in the previews before movies at AMC Theaters alongside ‘Noovie’ host Maria Menounos. In a now-deleted TikTok video, Straw Hat Goofy created a skit discussing how he, as a non-union influencer, wasn’t involved in the strike and that he will continue to accept contracts from big film studios to create content. This prompted the ire of many commenters, who called him out for not standing with actors in solidarity with the strike. Straw Hat Goofy later uploaded a video addressing the backlash, where he offered an apology to SAG actors but clarified that he is “under contract” with certain studios and will continue to honor those agreements. This response has also sparked some backlash, with actor, writer, and SAG member Charlie Capen criticizing Goofy’s explanation in a video. “Oh buddy, you fundamentally misunderstand the point,” Capen said. “The whole point is to not honor the contracts that are given because you’re trying to help support other people in their negotiating and bargaining.” SAG-AFTRA has now released its official guidelines regarding its strike, which state that “influencers may still pursue commercial work, including influencer-generated brand deals covered by the SAG-AFTRA Influencer Agreement and/or Influencer Waiver.” However, influencers should not “accept any new work for promotion of struck companies or their content” — but, “if an influencer is already under contract to promote struck work, then the influencer should fulfill their work obligation.” It’s important to note that SAG-AFTRA is not calling for a consumer strike, so movie lovers are free to attend film screenings such as Oppenheimer, which you can read our glowing review for right here on Dexerto.

  • Stranger Things’ Grace Van Dien focusing on Twitch over acting after producer’s sexual request – Dexerto

Stranger Things’ Grace Van Dien focusing on Twitch over acting after producer’s sexual request NetflixStranger Things star Grace Van Dien says she’s focusing on Twitch instead of acting because of bad experiences with producers in the movie business. Though Grace Van Dien previously featured in a number of TV shows and movies, an appearance in Stranger Things Season 4 catapulted her to stardom. As such, fans were surprised to learn that the actress played titles like Valorant and Fortnite on Twitch under the name of BlueFille. She’s since amassed an impressive viewer base on the streaming platform, too, with over 280,000 followers. Still, some may find it surprising that Van Dien’s more focused on Twitch as opposed to her acting career. Stranger Things star reveals why she spends more time on Twitch During a recent live stream, Grace Van Dien told viewers she’s been turning down acting gigs to instead focus on streaming. The actress said she “didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people [she] had to work for” during her last few projects. Van Dien added, “With streaming, I get to choose who I hang out with, who I talk to, etc.” She went on to divulge the disturbing behavior she was subjected to by a producer on one of the last films she starred in. According to the Stranger Things star, the movie producer in question convinced someone he was sleeping with to ask Van Dien about joining them for a threesome. This upsetting ordeal, understandably, encouraged the Stranger Things star to rethink her acting career while also doubling down on her commitment to Twitch. Beyond shifting more energy toward the BlueFille channel, it’s currently unclear what else the future may hold for the Chrissy Cunningham actress.

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp apologizes to Doja Cat for leaking her DMs Instagram: Noah Schnapp / Doja CatNoah Schnapp has broken his silence about the drama with Doja Cat, after he shared a DM from the singer expressing her interest in his co-star Joseph Quinn. The Stranger Things actor has revealed that he and Doja Cat are doing better, after the singer called him “a snake” on Instagram Live for sharing a DM she sent him on TikTok. Since the beef started, she has lost hundreds of thousands of followers – and he has now apologized. In a TikTok video, Schnapp was seen listening to Doja Cat’s Kiss Me More, while doing some math in a game on the app. He gave his fans an update on the situation between the pair, posting the following in the comments: “Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings” with two red heart emojis. Doja Cat vs Noah Schnapp: Drama explained It all started on July 7, when the 17-year-old Stranger Things actor posted a TikTok video featuring a DM from Doja Cat where she asked him “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu. wait no. does he have a gf?” The actor responded with “LMAOO slide into his DMs” and even sent her Joseph Quinn’s social media handles after the music star admitted that she didn’t know them. Doja Cat’s response A few days after the video was posted, Doja Cat went on Instagram Live to call out the actor for sharing their messages without her permission. During her rant, she stated that it was “socially unaware” for Schnapp to share their private conversation on TikTok. She added that Schnapp sharing their DMs was “borderline snake sh*t” and “weasel sh*t”. “I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing” she concluded. Whether or not this beef is over – following the apology from Noah – remains to be seen. Doja Cat has not publicly said anything regarding his apology just yet.

  • Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn praised following Comic Con incident – Dexerto

Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn praised following Comic Con incident Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn teared up after a fan praised his efforts at Showmaster Comic Con, where he was apparently yelled at by staff during a signing session. After the wildly successful debut of Stranger Things Season 4, fans were introduced to Quinn’s misunderstood Eddie Munson. The character struck a chord with audiences and has quickly become a fan-favorite out of the season. As such, the star has been making trips across the world to promote the show while meeting thousands of eager fans. But there was a reported incident during Quinn’s latest appearance that got him in a little hot water with some workers on site. He had apparently been berated by Comic Con staffers for meeting with fans at an oversold signing session that was running over time, creating a rush. Still, he met with people that showed up, something that one Comic Con goer highlighted the next day. At his Sunday panel, a fan decided to remind Quinn of the episode in lieu of asking the star a question and brought the actor to tears with their account. Clips of the interaction went viral online, showing Quinn steadily tearing up while the fan recounted how much their interaction meant to them. “Aw why’d you do that?” Munson said after the fan’s heartfelt appreciation made the star wipe away some tears at the end. The actor was reportedly tackling the overdrawn meet & greet with enthusiasm and energy despite not having a break in between, according to some fans. Event-goers said that fans were eventually asked to speed through their photo with Quinn to round out the session, which the actor was happy to oblige. All in all, it made the breakout star even more beloved in the eyes of Stranger Things fans and produced one of the most endearing clips from the convention.

  • Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp responds to claims he used a racial slur – Dexerto

Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp responds to claims he used a racial slur YouTube: Charli D’Amelio[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has come under fire after a controversial video resurfaced that showed the young actor singing a song with a racial slur, which he claims he replaced with another word. Noah Schnapp is famous for his role as Stranger Things’ Will Byers, having debuted in season one as a character in the famous Netflix show that is now approaching its fourth (and thankfully, not final) season. Despite his popularity, Schnapp has become the subject of controversy, after a video surfaced that showed the actor singing along to Chris Brown’s and Lil Dicky’s comedic song, “Freaky Friday,” which details the journey of Jewish rapper Lil Dicky waking up in Chris Brown’s body. The song features a humorous line that asks whether or not he can “say the n-word” — a line that Schnapp repeated in the video as he sang along with friends. i have never said the n word and i take PRIDE in that- noah schnapp 2020 pic.twitter.com/szWIR5aiEN — sam (@euphoriachlmet) August 26, 2020 Schnapp has since come under fire for the viral clip, and issued an apology to social media, where he clarified that he replaced the actual racial slur with the word “neighbor.” “Recently, a video from last summer has gotten out of me singing the word ‘neighbor’ over the n-word,” Schnapp explained. “I would truly never say the n-word and I’m not [that] type of person. Using the word ‘neighbor’ was just something me and my camp friends did.” While Schanpp also acknowledged that he shouldn’t have replaced the word altogether, critics are still taking issue with his apology post, with many decrying the young actor for using a substitute word instead of just remaining silent. “Even if he was saying neighbor, it’s disgusting,” one commenter wrote via YouTube. “Whether he said neighbor or the n-word, it wasn’t right,” another chimed in. “I expected better from him.” Schnapp, a 15-year-old, has long been a beloved member of the Stranger Things cast, which features a slew of teenaged stars in Gaten Materazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobbie Brown, among others. However, it seems that fans are now seeing the youngster in a different light — in spite of his sincere and lengthy apology for the year-old video.

  • Stranger Things’ Chrissy actress horrified as Sykkuno name-drops her old movies – Dexerto

Stranger Things’ Chrissy actress horrified as Sykkuno name-drops her old movies Twitch: bluefille, sykkunoSykkuno played a practical joke on actress Grace Van Dien, best known for her role as Chrissy in ‘Stranger Things,’ during a live stream with several other social media stars. ‘Stranger Things’ fans might recognize Grace Van Dien from the wildly popular Netflix show, but she’s also been making waves as a streamer. Van Dien has her very own Twitch channel, ‘bluefille,’ where she boasts over 213,000 followers. One of her favorite games to broadcast is Valorant, either solo or with friends. Some of her streaming buddies are huge internet stars like Valkyrae, Pokimane, and even Sykkuno, who decided to troll the actress over some of her earlier films before she’d reached ‘Stranger Things’ fame. Sykkuno was streaming Valorant with Van Dien, Pokimane, Chocobars and others when he decided to bring up these older flicks as a way to troll the mind behind Chrissy Cunningham. “What’s like a random, unknown movie she’s been part of?” Sykkuno read aloud from his chat. “I can say it and I’ll make it like nobody ever knew.” “I get nightmares when I watch zombie-related stuff,” one streamer said. “Oh, yeah, same,” Sykk joked. “That’s why I watch nice movies like ‘Army Dog.’” Van Dien was immediately tipped off by his prank. “Sykkuno. No,” she replied. “Who told you to say this?” “Oh no, I just saw the movie,” he fibbed. “It’s pretty good actually.” “No you didn’t!” Van Dien shot back. “I love dog movies. I also saw ‘The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation.’” “Who is gifting you subs to say this?” Van Dien asked — totally unaware that Sykkuno was merely reading off her IMDB. Luckily, it looks like Grace Van Dien got her revenge in the end, as she requested Sykkuno watch one of the ‘Shrek’ films as retribution for his jokes. This is far from the first time Van Dien has linked up with the ‘amigops;’ the two took over the net last month after admitting they are basically “best friends” during a live stream. We love to see it!

Stranger Things’ Chrissy actress wants a “streamer sitcom” show on Twitch According to Van Dien, she likes Twitch because it’s not scripted and she has “full, total control over what I’m doing, what I’m saying, who I’m talking to, hanging out with.” “I love both [acting and streaming],” she said. “I hope to find a good medium between both worlds.” That being said, she’s game to combine the two, joking that she’d love to see a Twitch sitcom with some of the site’s top talent. “I love streaming with Pokimane and Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, Sykkuno, Tarik. Ah, god, I love all of my streaming friends so much! When I build a squad for a lobby, it feels like I’m casting my own thing. There’s definitely character development with streaming, and there’s relationship development, friendship development.” (Topic begins at 10:51) “Wow, I really love comparing it to a sitcom. We should really have a sitcom of streamers now! You know, where we have the local pub we all go to and just sit and talk.” While it doesn’t look like a steamer sitcom is in the works currently, a few big streamers are making headway into Hollywood very soon, with Valkyrae and iiTzTimmy set to star in Mark Wahlberg’s upcoming film ‘The Family Plan.’

  • STPeach confronts alleged stalker on Twitch for death threats – Dexerto

STPeach confronts alleged stalker on Twitch for death threats STPeach – YouTubeTwitch streamer Lisa ‘STPeach’ Vannatta had enough with one of her viewers and finally confronted them after a year of threats. Being a Twitch streamer might seem like it’s a cool job to a lot of people but there’s a lot of stress that has to be dealt with behind the scenes. In some cases, like STPeach’s, that stress has to be dealt with in the open as she did with a viewer she claims has threatened to kill her and her family. Peach says these threats have been ongoing for a year now, and she explained all the viewer had to do is leave her alone and there wouldn’t have been any problem. She confronted them in her Twitch chat in a series of messages for all of her viewers to see, exposing all of the things that had allegedly been said to her. These messages were captured in a collection of imgur messages. “You’ve (threatened my family), leaked my info, just leave me alone,” she said in her chat. The user she was speaking to, jacknbaking, tried to apologize, but Peach wasn’t having any of it. “Sorry I’m this monster, it really sucks I’m unable to do action instead of saying things,” they said. STPeach explained this person has allegedly been stalking her for over a year and has even threatened to rape her, and kill her and her family. “Just leave me alone,” she said. “Holy shit. This guy’s been stalking me for over a year, he threatened to rape me and threatened to kill me and my family.” You can read all of the messages sent between the two in the images below. STPeach has gone through problems with people on her stream in the past, including her manager who lied about his age and ended up getting her Twitter and YouTube accounts suspended for a short amount of time back in 2018. Toxic viewers are nothing new but some select few do find ways to go too far. Perhaps by confronting the viewer, Peach will be able to put this behind her once and for all.

  • Stormzy drops ‘Rainfall’ music video in Watch Dogs, and it actually slaps – Dexerto

Stormzy drops ‘Rainfall’ music video in Watch Dogs, and it actually slaps YouTube: StormzyStormzy has officially made his Watch Dogs Legion debut with the release of his ‘Rainfall’ music video, which was filmed entirely inside Ubisoft’s upcoming trilogy sequel and if we’re being honest, the whole thing is kind of awesome. Every day another celebrity seems to find their way into the digital world. This year, Ninja and Aussie Twitch streamer Loserfruit were both added to Fortnite. Then, just last month, Dr Disrespect had a unique variant skin and themed ‘Arena’ map he designed released in Rogue Company. Now it’s British grime rapper Stormzy’s turn, in Watch Dogs: Legion. The rapper, 27, released a music video for his new single “Rainfall” on Thursday, Oct. 22, with a bit of a twist — the entire clip was filmed in Ubisoft’s upcoming sequel. A digital Stormzy first appeared in a virtual studio, singing his new single. The scenery soon changed, however, and he was transported — all in-game — to the rooftops of London, where the new Watch Dogs sequel will mainly be taking place. Here’s the new music video, featuring Tiana Major9, in all its glory. This isn’t the only time Stormzy will be appearing in Watch Dogs Legion either. When the full Legion title drops on Oct. 29, players will get the chance to team-up with the grime rapper, or at least a virtual version of him, for an exclusive side-quest. The mission, “Fall on My Enemies,” is a reference to Stomrzy’s lyrics in ‘Rainfall.’ When accepted, players will be tasked with “protecting the broadcast of the music video across the entire city.” Ubisoft has yet to confirm how long the mission will be, or whether it has any major bearing on the main Watch Dogs storyline. Stormzy first revealed his collaboration back in September. He said, “You lot are about to have your minds blown. What [Ubisoft] have done in terms of recreating London is one of the most insane, epic, incredible things I’ve ever seen.” The Watch Dogs devs said they were “thrilled” to have Stormzy onboard. “His music and what he speaks to as an artist is extremely relevant for our London setting, and for the larger themes of our game. He lit up the room… it was a career highlight for us to get to work with him.” Ubisoft has confirmed the exclusive Stormzy Rainfall mission will be available from day one in Watch Dogs Legion, and will require no additional DLC patches to play. The Watch Dogs trilogy sequel will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on Thursday, October 29. The title will also be ported to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 when the next-gen consoles are released in late 2020.

Since September of this year, a viral trend on TikTok has seen users stitch home-cooking influencer Susi Vidal to share their wildest stories on the platform. The stitch trend was born after Susi posted a recipe for homemade pesto, starting her video with, “Call me crazy if you want, but I never liked store-bought pesto.” It’s a trend that has very little to do with the recipe or food in question and instead gives content creators a chance to recount their craziest experiences. Now, however, Susi has surprised all by responding to the trend with an unexpected cameo from Gordan Ramsey. “Recently everyone thinks I’m crazy because I dont like store-bought pesto, what do you think about that?” Susi asked, appearing alongside the world-famous chef. “I think it’s a good thing, the fact you that you dont like store-bought. More importantly, you can make a great bloody pesto so, no more store-bought — this is the new pesto queen,” Ramsay replied, with emphasis on the ‘queen’. Thanking him, Susi asked to clarify, “So, you’re crazy [because] you dont like store-bought pesto?” “Yeah, we are both crazy so listen, craziness makes a great chef,” Ramsay said, offering some words of wisdom. “Never forget that.” Viewers loved the surprise crossover, with one person writing; “The pesto QUEEN! From the Man himself!” Another said, “I have not been on board with this trend until right now. You have handled this like a queen, Susi!” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Storm aftermath goes viral as viewers compare it to The Last of Us – Dexerto

Storm aftermath goes viral as viewers compare it to The Last of Us TikTok/kellianndrury/HBOThe aftermath of a big ice storm in Montreal, Canada is going viral on TikTok with content creators and viewers comparing it to the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us. HBO’s The Last of Us stunned viewers with its adaptation of the hit PlayStation game, but despite being filmed in Alberta, it seems Quebec looks more like the show in real life. Last weekend, a brutal ice storm hit eastern Canada causing significant damage and power outages across the French province and the aftermath has viewers talking. Footage of the city of Montreal is making rounds on social media thanks to how scary everything looks with murky skies, debris-littered roads, and infected possibly lurking around the corner. Montreal becomes The Last of Us after ice storm In a clip that has been viewed nearly 1 million times, user ‘kellianndrury’ showed off what a street in Montreal looked like following the storm. The road was covered with trees, dirt and spooky fog, leaving little room for anyone to traverse or drive out of the area. “I’ll be Ellie and the position for Joel is open,” the TikToker captioned the clip. Another video from ‘_isgaelle’ showed the same location a bit later in the day and you can clearly see a broken tree had smashed onto a car parked on the side of the road. “An apocalyptic scene,” one viewer commented. “The Last of Us fr,” another replied. Luckily, it doesn’t appear as though anyone is infected, which would definitely make the situation a whole lot worse than it already is, but it’s wild to see a neighborhood get transformed so much by a storm.

  • SteveWillDoIt surprises soldier who killed Osama bin Laden with truck – Dexerto

SteveWillDoIt surprises soldier who killed Osama bin Laden with truck YouTube: SteveWillDoItNELK Boys’ SteveWillDoIt has become a wildly successful YouTuber, and is always giving back to friends and fans of his — now, though, the hero who killed Osama Bin Laden has been on the receiving end of Steve’s generosity. In the past, we’ve seen Steve turn multiple people’s lives around. He got a homeless man a job and put him up in an apartment, and he’s given cars to fellow NELK man Kyle Forgeard, more than happy to share the insane wealth he’s accumulated. As a result of this, when Steve had the chance to meet one of his personal heroes and someone who risked his life for the good of the rest of the world, he had to do something for him. That’s where Robert O’Neill, better known as the man who killed Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, steps in. By chance, Steve ended up meeting O’Neill through a mutual friend, and after saying that he “felt like he needed to buy a car for someone,” he realized that there was no better recipient. Read More: SteveWillDoIt discovers he’s on CatFish – So, after spending a while chatting with Rob about his experiences and what that night was like, Steve took Rob out to look at his car collection — and give him one himself. After showing off a few of them, Steve asked what he thought of the brand new Ford F150, and after having a poke around, Rob was clearly a fan. “Yo Robert, I think you’re a f**king hero and the bravest man I’ve ever met,” said Steve, before Rob quickly realized what was happening and told him to “get the f**k out of here right now.” Rob was clearly a little speechless after Steve told him that he “wants to give him this truck for his service,” but thanked Steve and the crew for the gif after gathering his thoughts. There’s no doubting that Rob never served the country for flashy new trucks, but it’s not a bad reward, especially from someone he had never met before.

  • “Stoneos” cannabis cookies removed from stores for looking too much like Oreos – Dexerto

“Stoneos” cannabis cookies removed from stores for looking too much like Oreos FDACannabis double-stuffed “Stoneos” are being removed from stores after the FTC ruled the edible cookies looked too much like Oreos. Weed products are becoming more popular than ever now that more countries and states are legalizing marijuana, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still issues with the ordeal. Edibles are among the most popular way people enjoy marijuana products with drinks, brownies, cookies, and gummies giving consumers a powerful high. However, one product that you won’t be seeing much more of is “Stoneos,” a cannabis cookie that the FTC says took its Oreo parody way too far. FTC rules “Stoneos” are too much like Oreos As reported by Reuters, six companies were sent cease and desist letters after the FTC determined that children could mistake the marijuana products for their normal counterparts. In addition to “Double Stuf Stoneos,” other THC products included “Jolly Rancher Gummies Sours” and “Cheetos Crunchy XXTRA Flamin’ Hot.” “Marketing edible THC products that can be easily mistaken by children for regular foods is reckless and illegal,” the FTC’s Samuel Levine said. “Companies must ensure that their products are marketed safely and responsibly, especially when it comes to protecting the well-being of children.” FDA Principal Deputy Commissioner Janet Woodcock also remarked: “Children are more vulnerable than adults to the effects of THC, with many who have been sickened and even hospitalized after eating ‘edibles’ containing it.” Back in 2021, Canada’s state broadcaster reported that a child fell ill after eating the Stoneo cannabis cookies that were packaged like Oreos. As a result of the decision, the companies must cease marketing edible Delta-8 THC products that imitate traditional foods or use packaging that could appeal to kids. NC Hemp Exchange and Dr. Smoke, two of the six companies, have since stopped selling the products. The other four have yet to respond.

SteveWillDoIt makes return with first video back on Rumble after YouTube ban YouTube: SteveWillDoItNELK Boys’ SteveWillDoIt is set to “break the internet” on Rumble on October 25, just weeks after being permanently banned from YouTube. NELK Boys’ SteveWillDoIt had amassed over four million subscribers on YouTube in the years leading up to the removal of his channel this past August. Despite having zero strikes on his channel, Steve revealed a few weeks later that it was removed because he had indirectly promoted gambling. Now, over two months later, SteveWillDoIt appears to be set to introduce his next video platform move. SteveWillDoIt set to “break the internet” on Rumble On October 17, Rumble Video posted a tweet regarding SteveWillDoIt. It read: “October 25th is when SteveWillDoTt will try to break the internet. Get ready and mark your calendars.” Steve isn’t the first influencer to make their way over to Rumble after being banned from YouTube, either. After Andrew Tate revealed his move to the “free speech” video platform, the CEO of Rumble explained why they are letting him “speak freely” on their website. He said: “We are going to do whatever it takes to hold the line for free speech, whether we agree or disagree with what’s said.” SteveWillDoIt returns to the internet with Rumble upload On October 25, SteveWillDoIt uploaded his first video on Rumble, showing that he went down to Florida after Hurricane Ian to help people whose lives have been uprooted by the storm. • SteveWillDoIt speechless after accidentally giving Twitch viewer $10,000 – Dexerto

SteveWillDoIt speechless after accidentally giving Twitch viewer $10,000 Instagram/stevewilldoitPopular YouTuber and NELK Boys star Steve ‘SteveWillDoIt’ Deleonardis was left absolutely stunned after he accidentally gave a Twitch viewer $10,000 during a recent broadcast. The so-called healthiest man alive is now a little bit poorer after making a poor decision while playing slots on Twitch. During a January 18 broadcast, Deleonardis went to tip a viewer called KnowDaDrill some money from his Bitcoin wallet. It looked like it was already bound to be a generous $1,000 donation to begin with, but all that changed when the streamer mistyped. After accidentally pressing a bunch of random numbers on his keyboard, Steve had to backspace, but missed one of the zeroes. When you accidently add an extra zero to your generous tip 💀 (via @stevewilldoit) pic.twitter.com/4LoZstSRzG — Dexerto (@Dexerto) January 19, 2021 The end result was a much larger tip than he intended to send. 10 times bigger in fact. A few brief moments later, only after the donation had already done through did Deleonardis realize just how badly he screwed up. “Oh my God, I just sent him $10,000 on accident!” he gasped in awe. “Oh my God.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CGkv5bol3OY/ The speechless YouTube star was left in disbelief for a bit, unsure of how to respond to his carelessness. Once he could speak, however, his response was downright wild. “Ahh,” he groaned. “I’m stoned.” Unfortunately, the streamer deleted the rest of the vod, so it’s unclear what happened with the funds and if the viewer was nice enough to return the extra money. That said, judging by the amount in SteveWillDoIt’s Bitcoin wallet, it’s not the end of the world for him. After the donation went through he still had over $95,000 left. The last few months have been a bit of a setback for the YouTuber and gambler. Notably, he bet and lost $30,000 on the results of the US election, among other wagers. Nonetheless, with nearly three million subscribers on YouTube and an extremely popular series, he should be able to recoup his losses in no time. Hopefully, however, he checks for any unwanted zeroes before he donates the next time.

  • SteveWillDoIt reveals YouTube removed his channel over gambling concerns – Dexerto

SteveWillDoIt reveals YouTube removed his channel over gambling concerns YouTube: Raw Talk with Bradley MartynPopular YouTuber SteveWillDoIt has revealed that YouTube removed his main channel after he promoted his second channel that he used to upload clips of his gambling. On August 1, 2022, SteveWillDoIt revealed in an Instagram post that YouTube had permanently deleted his channel which had over four million subscribers. The NELK Boys member uploaded a wide variety of videos spanning from comedy to philanthropic videos where Steve gave away hundreds and thousands of dollars to people. Just two weeks later, the influencer claimed that his channel had zero community guideline strikes which are often required for the punishment to be elevated to the point of channel removal. In the August 30 episode of Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, Steve revealed the reason behind the removal of his channel. SteveWillDoIt reveals why YouTube removed his channel After explaining that YouTube didn’t give him a heads up about the removal of his channel, Steve revealed that his second channel, where he posted gambling clips, had influenced its removal. “I had a second channel where we traveled to Mexico and I post gambling clips on my second channel,” he explained. “You’re allowed to show yourself playing Stake.com and post it on YouTube, and you’re allowed to say ‘I’m playing on Stake right now.’” He went on to explain that if the full website domain is visible in the video, however, YouTube will remove the upload. Steve also revealed that due to not having the domain fully blurred on a video, his second channel was deleted. Steve revealed that he made a new channel, and spoke to a YouTube rep to confirm that the removal wouldn’t affect his main. “My mistake was that I went on my main channel, and promoted my second channel,” he revealed. “The whole issue I have with this is that they’re gonna delete my entire channel because stake.com [was visible on my second channel.]” (Topic starts at 1:28 in the video) He went on to explain that if he knew not having Stake.com blurred on his video would result in his main channel being removed, he would have been “more financially responsible.” It’s unknown what Steve will do in the future now that his channel’s gone, so we’ll have to wait to see what happens next.

SteveWillDoIt is part of the popular NELK Boys group, who have built a massive fan base for their entertaining weekly vlogs and prank series on YouTube. One of the regular guests featured in their videos is fitness star Bradley Martyn, who has an ongoing “feud” with Steve, with the pair constantly pranking one another on their channels. Steve revealed, in his latest upload, that he had surprised himself with a new Tesla Model X, ordering it to arrive outside of their home in Los Angeles. The YouTube star revealed his new Tesla, which retails for around $85,000, and highlighted the red custom wrap with their NELK’s ‘Full Send’ branding and designs all around the vehicle. The hood of the car stood out the most as it surprisingly featured a supposed image of Bin Laden, though Bradley Martyn’s face was digitally added to the wrap instead. While Steve was quite impressed with how the car turned out, fellow Nelk star Kyle Forgeard claimed that people might not even recognize Bradley’s face, “dude, people are just going to think its bin Laden though.” Steve later took the car to Bradley Martyn to reveal his meticulous prank and, as expected, the fitness star was not too happy with the design choice. “Nah you gotta take this off, you gotta take it off, it’s bad” he replied, stunned after realizing it was his face on the image. Steve also demonstrated some of the unique tricks that you can do with the Tesla Model X, such as making the car “dance” along to music. Despite being impressed with these features, Bradley was still unwilling to let the prank go and demanded that the image be removed from the car. While it is unclear whether or not Steve will remove the image from his new car, there will likely be many more pranks between the pair in future videos.

SteveWillDoIt reveals hacker stole his crypto wallet: “I lost a lot of money” YouTube: SteveWillDoItNelk Boys member Stephen ‘SteveWillDoIt’ Deleonardis revealed that a hacker stole “a lot of money” from his cryptocurrency wallet and shut down claims that he’s lying about it to sell merch. Cryptocurrencies have been all the rage for a while now. Like the stock market, you can make a lot of money with a good amount of research and a bit of luck. But at the same time, you can lose it all if the market dips and crashes. Bitcoin is the oldest, most popular, and most valuable cryptocurrency. SteveWillDoIt had a lot, but it appears to be all gone, with the star claiming a hacker gained access to his cryptocurrency wallet and seized the account. “I got an email on my phone [saying] someone was in my blockchain, my crypto wallet. You guys know I’m into Bitcoin,” he said. “I got hacked. I just lost a weird amount of money, and it doesn’t feel good. It’s a weird thing. “Some nerd hacker took a lot of money, and I’ll be honest with you, it’s not looking so good right now. I don’t know what’s going to happen. We still are going to sell merch. But now I need your support more than ever.” Related segment begins at 3:46 in video below. However, some fans thought the timing was suspicious and accused him of making up the story in a bid to sell merch. He shut down those claims during an Instagram story, saying, “If you think I need to make up lies right now when I’m the biggest that I’ve ever been to sell merch, then you’re a f**king idiot.” “All I know today was that I got an email. Someone has my email and password to my blockchain. I can’t log in. I can’t reset my password. I don’t have access to the funds. My email is no longer attached to that wallet. “I’m assuming I got hacked… so, if you think I’m lying, f**k you.”

SteveWillDoIt finally ends David Dobrik beef by offering YouTuber an insane gift YouTube: SteveWillDoItSteve ‘SteveWillDoIt’ Deleonardis finally ended his long-standing feud with ‘ex-arch enemy’ David Dobrik by surprising him with an extravagant gift – a Tesla Model Y to accompany his Model X. SteveWillDoIt is arguably the most popular member of the NELK Boys due to his wild side and insane stories. He’s become the face of their brand and has amassed more than four million subscribers on his YouTube channel. In July 2021, he claimed to have lost lots of money to a hacker who gained entry into his cryptocurrency wallet. However, that didn’t stop him from giving a generous gift to the soldier who killed Osama Bin Laden. Now, he’s done it again, and this time, he did it with the one person nobody ever thought he would – David Dobrik. In March 2021, Steve called him a “c*nt b*tch” and a “pussy” for doing “sponsored” giveaways. Some fans brushed it off as a joke. However, others were less impressed. Either way, he finally wants to let bygones be bygones. So, in a bid to squash their ‘beef,’ he offered Dobrik a new Tesla Model Y to add to his collection. https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1443762591139090433?s=20 “I kind of wanted to squash the beef because there’s actually no beef,” he said after meeting face-to-face. “The only interaction I ever had with [you] was actually a very pleasant one. I don’t want my fans to actually be mean to you.” “I appreciate that. The beef is squashed,” replied David. They more or less confirmed the feud between them wasn’t real. However, Steve admitted he “felt bad” about the whole thing. “I just want to say I’m sorry because I always talk sh*t about you for no reason,” he said. “I want to give you something because I know you give a bunch of things to people,” he added, referring to Dobrik’s philanthropic giveaways in the past. Dobrik assured him it wasn’t necessary but was “excited” to see what it was. Steve escorted him to the driveway and revealed it was none other than brand new Tesla Model Y. “That’s the Model Y,” he said. “You’ve got the Model X. You’ve got the Model 3. Now I want you to have a Model Y.” Dobrik was ecstatic and appreciative. “It’s crazy being on the other side [of an extravagant giveaway],” he laughed. “I’m so glad you’ve been making fun of me for the past couple of months because now I’ve got a brand new car.” The two of them hugged it out, and agreed to keep the banter going in a light-hearted way. However, the ‘beef’ between them is now done and dusted.

[jwplayer h3XPfMqQ] SteveWillDoIt (real name Steve Deleonardis) has become somewhat of an online sensation since joining pranksters the NELK Boys, with whom his antics have often come under scrutiny: but now, he’s making headlines for the best reason possible. Having met a homeless man in New York City, Steve found out that Gerald was actually a veteran from the Vietnam war, and instantly decided he wanted to change his life. So, that’s what Steve did, and may have just helped set up Gerald to live out the rest of his years in happiness and comfort. After taking the once-homeless man out for a spin in his Tesla and Chevrolet Corvette, Steve decided to take Gerald to see his new Florida apartment, and it’s instantly noticeable how much the offer means to Gerald, who can’t believe his luck. That wasn’t all, though: Steve went on to confirm that he was lining Gerald up a job just two miles away from the apartment, and that his mom would be setting up a bank account with $25,000 in it to help keep him going. He did add, however, that she would be controlling the finances and making sure it’s being used correctly. Throughout, Gerald can’t stop expressing his shock, emotionally explaining how much Steve is changing his life, even saying at one point that “he took a homeless person and made him feel like somebody.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06yB3ZQ_YFY Just a few days later, Steve drove out to visit Gerald on his second day of the job, which he describes as “the best job ever,” and his employers couldn’t speak any higher of him either. We’ve seen YouTubers give homeless people cash or various gifts in the past, but we rarely see one work so hard to help someone fully land on their feet and get back to normality, and now we can really only root for Gerald to keep up his hard work.

Steve-O freaks out after Chris Weidman’s brutal leg injury at UFC 261 UFCAmerican MMA fighter Chris Weidman suffered a gruesome leg injury during his UFC 261 bout against Uriah Hall, and reality TV star Steve-O perfectly personified what it was like to watch it all happen. Weidman is a former UFC middleweight champion, but was an underdog according to oddsmakers coming into the April 24 match against Hall, and let’s just say it didn’t take long for those who bet on Hall to get their money’s worth. Steve-O, known for withstanding gruesomeness with the Jackass crew, was watching the fight on the official UFC Watch Along stream with former UFC fighter Jens Pulver and former WWE star CM Punk, and like the rest of us, had a hard time watching to injury occur. Can’t keep a champion down. Wishing @ChrisWeidman a speedy recovery 🙏 pic.twitter.com/QuUdDQFVh2 — UFC (@ufc) April 25, 2021 Footage of the injury is extremely graphic, so we won’t be showing it here, but to break it down for those who didn’t see it happen, one of Weidman’s opening kicks of the match landed the worst way it could have, and broke his leg between his knee and ankle. The fight was obviously called a KO victory for Hall, but clips and footage of the gruesome injury shocked everyone who saw it happen, including Steve-O. “Oh my god I don’t even want to see… Ohhh!!!!” The Jackass star exclaimed as he saw the footage. “Dude, that is too much.” Steve-O’s cringes and cries are a perfect representation of how it felt to watch the injury happening, just in case you want to go look up the clip for yourself. If you’ve ever seen most anything Steve-O’s been involved in, it’s no secret the stuntman has no problem with torturing and injuring himself, but he said he does get squeamish when seeing it happen to others. “I don’t like that dude, the people think I’m crazy,” the star explained. “Dude, like, if it was me, I could handle it, but if it’s someone else, I can’t handle it dude, I can’t handle that.” Obviously we hope Weidman has a speedy recovery from this terrible injury that’s every bit as brutal as Steve-O makes it out to be, and then some.

Steve Irwin’s son goes viral for rescuing python stuck in vending machine Instagram: robertirwinphotographySteve Irwin’s son Robert Irwin has gone viral on TikTok after he showcased himself saving a carpet python from a vending machine at Australia Zoo. TikTok is a fantastic app for seeing just about anything you’re interested in. Whether that be fashion accessories, gaming clips or highlights, or even someone pretending to be a non-playable character from a video game. Because of the sheer variety on offer, the app sees millions of users hop on daily to scroll through their feeds. This means it’s a great way to advertise yourself online or go viral, with many TikTok users rising to fame in recency. One TikTok user doesn’t need the app to advertise themselves, however, as they’ve already made quite the name for themselves. Son of the legendary animal handler Steven Irwin, Robert Irwin went viral thanks to a TikTok of them rescuing a python stuck in a vending machine. Robert Irwin goes viral for rescuing snake trapped in vending machine Robert, who is one of the zoo keepers at Australia Zoo, was alerted to a carpet python stuck inside one of the vending machines. Irwin drove to the vending machine and peered through it, noticing the snake lazily curled around Coke bottles. With the help of a vending machine technician, the zookeeper was able to slowly guide the creature away from the wiring. Obviously, with a snake, Irwin was careful to not upset the python, but eventually was able to carefully sling the snake out of the vending machine. Irwin pointed out a previous injury the snake had on its tail, claiming that “this bloke has obviously got a spirit of getting himself caught in weird situations, cause he’s missing the end of his tail, and that’s an old injury, so this is a long time ago.” The zookeeper announced that they’d be relocating the snake to close off the TikTok, which has amassed over 1.7 million likes at the time of writing.

  • Steve Jobs stars in Joe Rogan podcast thanks to artificial intelligence – Dexerto

Steve Jobs stars in Joe Rogan podcast thanks to artificial intelligence YouTube: PowerfulJRE, Video Insider, D8An artificial intelligence has created a fake podcast episode of the Joe Rogan Experience starring the late Steve Jobs — and the audio is going viral online. Artificial Intelligence is taking social media by storm, with tools like the Dall-E Mini allowing netizens to create original artwork based on a series of simple text prompts. More recently, OpenAI’s Dall-E 2 became available to use by signup without a waitlist, with users across the net utilizing AI to generate jaw-dropping conceptual images in a more complex and accurate fashion from its Mini version. However, there’s another AI tool that’s dropping jaws on social platforms, which is able to recreate realistic conversations using pre-existing recordings of a person. AI creates fake podcast episode with Joe Rogan and Steve Jobs The tool, called ‘podcast ai,’ recently published a fake episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast with special guest Steve Jobs — the late CEO, co-founder, and chair of Apple, who passed away in 2011. The recording begins with Joe Rogan welcoming his “freak b**ches” to the “Bro Jogan Experience” before introducing Jobs, who he finds “weird and brilliant” with “amazing taste.” “It’s great to be on the show,” an AI-generated Jobs replies. “Your audience is just so different from your normal Apple users, and that’s a good thing. It’s cool.” While a short snippet of the conversation was posted to Twitter, the entire 19-minute long episode can be viewed on podcast ai website, where the two figures exchange laughs, banter, and the history of tech and the MacIntosh. The internet, however, seems divided as to the ethics of using a deceased person’s voice to create fake conversations. One notable post called the possibility a “pretty straightforward evil thing to do.” Others, though, are psyched at what this means for the future of AI technology, while others are worried about the lines between what’s real and what’s fabricated blurring. In 10 years we will have passed the point where it will be possible to determine what reality is — toddcharron (@toddcharron) October 11, 2022 This isn’t the first time AI has ignited debate; as a result of the Dall-E’s popularity, some artists are speaking out against the tool, predicting a future where programs replace employees to create concept art in the snap of a finger. For now, the tool continues to be a popular trend online, with TikTokers even using AI tech as part of a fad on the viral video app.

  • Steve from Blue’s Clues is on TikTok and fans can’t get enough – Dexerto

Steve from Blue’s Clues is on TikTok and fans can’t get enough Nickelodeon/TikTok/TikTok: @hioutthereitsmesteveSteve Burns, the original host of the hit Nickelodeon kids’ show Blues Clues, has made his way over to TikTok – and fans cannot get enough of the actor’s videos. While TikTok has gained popularity for its various dance trends and viral sounds, the app has also served as a way for mainstream celebrities to interact with their fans. Joining the likes of Britney Spears and Ryan Reynolds is the original host of Blues Clues: Steve Burns. Starting in 1995, Steve Burns instantly became a bit of a celebrity with the Nickelodeon show’s audience and their parents. However, in 2001, the actor decided it was time to go and passed the torch to Donovan Patton, who went by the name “Joe.” Steve has joined the short-form video platform to interact with his (now much older) fans. So far, he has received almost a million followers with several million views on the two videos he’s posted. Steve Burns on TikTok Less than a week after joining the platform with the username ‘hioutthereitsmesteve,’ Burns has gained almost a million followers. The first video uploaded by the actor was fairly simple, as he introduced himself with his infamous catchphrase and simply explained that he didn’t know how to use TikTok, asking fans for help. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Fans all over the world instantly took to the creator’s comments, excited that he arrived on the platform. Ecstatic viewers referenced the show’s theme song, and even couple of companies (like Taco Bell) joined in on the fun. On September 7, A viral tweet from Nick Jr featured a video of Steve showing that he and his fans have all grown up since he went off to college. It looks like Steve is getting more social media savvy as a result, and we can’t wait to see what else he’s got in store. With over two million likes on the tweet, it definitely caught the eyes of his fans – just like his new TikTok has.

Steve Harvey’s unexpected outfits are getting memed by anime fans Twitter: @IAmSteveHarvey / Viz MediaFamily Feud host Steve Harvey is going ham in the fashion game — but his new outfits are proving to be the perfect meme fodder for Photoshop-savvy netizens. Steve Harvey is a presence that has delighted the internet for years. His humorous reactions on the televised game show, Family Feud, have resulted in a slew of hilarious and timeless clips across the internet. However, it’s not a particularly funny episode of Family Feud that has the internet talking right now; instead, it’s the unexpected drip Harvey has been unleashing on his Twitter feed that is taking social media by storm. It’s clear that whatever Harvey is doing is working. His stylist is certainly upping his fashion game to the nth degree — but the fact that he’s switching up his usual suit and tie for more current trends has the net rolling with laughter. Jujutsu Kaisen In fact, quite a few netizens have put their Photoshop skills to use to create some priceless edits of Steve Harvey as random anime and comic book characters… and they’re nothing short of perfect. Take this tear-inducing edit of Harvey as Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen, for example. The pose, the leather pants, and the blue jacket just scream “jujutsu sorcerer.” Dragon Ball Someone else took the same photo and transformed the game show host into Dragon Ball’s Trunks. • Steve Aoki shares with Logan Paul his biggest NFT regret – Dexerto

Steve Aoki shares with Logan Paul his biggest NFT regret Logan PaulSteve Aoki has gone deep with Logan Paul on discussions about NFTs and the ‘A0k1verse’ on the latest episode of Impaulsive — including talking about his biggest regret in the crypto space. When Steve Aoki joined Logan Paul on his IMPAULSIVE podcast, crypto and NFTs were always going to be a talking point. Both are deeply involved with the space — the former even more so with his ‘A0k1verse’ project. While NFTs have been a hotly contested topic in the gaming world, Aoki’s new project is touted as a game-changer for musicians. Well-versed in the oft-murky world of blockchain technology, Aoki talked at length about his experiences with NFTs. However, while he talked about the highs, he also shared his biggest regret. “The one thing I learnt is never buy one,” Aoki said. “I already made that mistake with a CryptoPunk. So I sold it, then I bought two more. So now I just buy [mutliple] NFTs.” The discussion between Aoki and Paul quickly turned from discussing the highs of doing well on a risky gamble, to their less fruitful efforts. Referring to the Oni project that both Steve Aoki and Logan Paul went in on, and both lost money on, Logan made it clear that projects like this need a high level of detachment to engage with. “I don’t feel like it’s a loss. Technically the project value has decreased, but I just don’t care.” Raising interesting issues around the community approach towards blockchain use, Paul stated “royalty shares on songs for some artists would be crazy”. The related segment begins at 57:35. This concept opened the door to the well-discussed topic of what the point of NFTs is, and the potential real world application of their use. The idea in this case being that by owning the NFT for a song, the holder of that NFT is due a portion of the money made by that track. Closing out their discussion on NFTs and Crypto as whole, Steve Aoki, Logan Paul and Mike Maljak all had agreement around the typical life cycle of any project with Aoki saying: “It did really well, it surged up, and then it dropped. All NFTs dropped. It stayed at this low floor for 10 months until we announced the Aokiverse.” Mike’s final comments on the project encapsulated the standard experience of the casual user. “That’s the naturally cyclical [sic] motion of an NFT project. You get this initial burst of energy when the project first releases, and then, of course it’s gonna go back to some sorta baseline.”

Stepson of billionaire lost on OceanGate submarine deletes Twitter amid backlash Twitter: Clips528 / Instagram: oceangateWhile billionaire Hamish Harding remains missing on the OceanGate Titan, his stepson has unwittingly found his 15 minutes of fame on Twitter, only to quickly delete his account following widespread backlash. OceanGate Titan is still missing after losing communications while attempting to visit the Titanic. While the search is still underway, time is running out for the submersible. Among its passengers was billionaire Hamish Harding, who shared his excitement about joining the expedition on Instagram shortly before the descent. Now his stepson, Brian Szasz, is moving attention away from the missing sub, rising to Twitter fame after a series of tweets that included a racial slur. His account, however, has since been removed from the platform. Despite the account being deleted, Twitter users have continued to share Szasz’s posts. Reda, who goes by ‘MayJailer0621’ on the platform, tweeted a screenshot of Szasz’s tweets that included using racial slurs. Szasz’s tweet in question was a response to another user, who was showing support for American rapper Cardi B. Szasz first started feuding with Cardi B after the rapper called him out for going to a Blink-182 concert while his stepdad remained missing. Another Twitter user, ‘lubyruby283’, followed up Reda’s post with more evidence of Szasz using racist language on the platform. “You can tell bro is just chasing clout,” one person responded. “He deleted his account once they started quoting his old problematic tweets,” another posted, amused by Szasz’s account deletion. Others took the opportunity to poke fun at Szasz. In a now-deleted tweet, Szasz wrote “Quit trippin in my hood [sic]”. One user replied to the post with a photo of an extravagant mansion, captioning it “the hood in question”. It’s unclear whether Szasz deleted his account over backlash regarding his racist remarks, his response to an OnlyFans model, or his attendance at a Blink-182 concert, or perhaps all of it together. In the past, Aoki has collaborated with names like Lil John, BTS, Fall Out Boy, and more… but his upcoming collab is nothing that fans likely expected. On March 22, Steve Aoki appeared on an episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, hosted by YouTube star Logan Paul and fellow influencers Mike Majlak and George Janko. View this post on Instagram Steve Aoki teases upcoming collab with country artist Kane Brown During the episode, Aoki dropped a massive bombshell for everyone listening: He’s creating a country/EDM mashup with American country singer Kane Brown. “It’s got a f**king, crazy-a** harmonica solo,” he explained. “The drop is fire. I could imagine some crazy, like, country, sort of swinging dance to this s**t.” Aside from being a fellow artist, Kane is actually good friends with Aoki, and the two often play Warzone together. “Kane, he’s been a good friend,” Aoki said. “We’ll always drop in the Zone. He’s actually pretty good, too.” Apparently, Paul is also good friends with Kane, making for a surprising and heartwarming moment between the group. (Topic begins at 31:28) This marks the latest move in Aoki’s twenty-plus-year career, leaving fans excited to witness this unexpected — but not unwelcome — genre-bending mashup. This isn’t the first time a musical announcement has been made on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, by far; in January, the NFL’s Antonio Brown teased that he was creating a song with Kanye West, although we’re still waiting to hear more on that front.

  • StephenIRL explains the real reason behind shocking Twitch ban – Dexerto

StephenIRL explains the real reason behind shocking Twitch ban Everyone was surprised when StephenIRL was banned from Twitch in September for brandishing a weapon, but no one was as shocked as the bounty hunter himself. Now, having returned to Twitch, he has told Dexerto exactly why he was removed from the platform, and revealed his frustrations with the ban. Stephen has one of the most-known IRL channels on Twitch, with his intense livestreams giving audiences an insight into the world of bounty hunting and chasing down criminals. However, the streaming personality’s account was in peril in September after Twitch permanently banned him without warning – now the bounty hunter is speaking out. StephenIRL’s Twitch ban On September 11 the streamer posted on Twitter that his account had been permanently banned, and stated it was for “brandishing a weapon” during his broadcast. In an interview with Dexerto, he detailed his frustrations with how the ban was handled as the streaming platform took days to communicate specifically what incident it took issue with. “It took a few days for me to get the exact occurrence of the incident in question due to the fact the VODs or clips couldn’t be referenced since my channel had been removed,” he said. “I wasn’t entirely sure for which incident the ban occurred until I was provided a timestamp a few days later and referenced my own local recordings.” Just received notice from Twitch of an Indefinite Ban that goes into effect tonight. Last Stream Debrief will be at 1800 HRS CST. — Stephen (@StephenIRL_) September 11, 2019 While showing a weapon on stream might sound controversial, US bounty hunters are allowed to carry firearms, depending on which state they’re in. And the streamer had shown weapons on his channel before, which made the ban initially confusing. Curiously, the bounty hunter was a partner with the streaming platform for over a year, which meant they had to be at least somewhat familiar with the content shown during his broadcasts. Why StephenIRL was banned When asked why Twitch suddenly took issue with him showing a weapon on stream given that the channel had featured firearms before, Stephen explained that it was to do with context. “My understanding is that the ban did not occur for showing a weapon on stream, but for presenting a weapon in a context in which a weapon, lethal or non-lethal, could potentially be used on another person, regardless of being in compliance with local laws,” he said. The Twitch personality also theorized that incident might have been singled out as a clip of the incident became popular on Reddit’s LivestreamFails. (Timestamp of 00:10 for mobile viewers.) The ban was initially permanent, although Stephen says he was encouraged to appeal the platform’s decision, which he eventually won as his channel was reinstated in October. The streamer said that according to local law, he had not actually brandished a weapon but acknowledged “it did however violate their [Twitch] terms of service; specifically their definition of “brandishing a weapon.” Stephen wishes things were communicated better Stephen clarified that while he was initially frustrated with the ban, he has no issue with the content Twitch doesn’t want on its platform. However, he would have been willing to change his content if they had asked him to in the first place. “My initial response was one of frustration, primarily for the reason that nothing had been communicated to me until the decision was made to permanently ban my channel,” he said. The bounty hunter then acknowledged that he understands why some may see his content as “edgy” and why Twitch might not want all of his content on their platform. However, he just wishes there had been better communication. “My application of Twitch Partnership was approved over a year ago, and much of the content streamed up to that point would have been considered in violation of TOS based upon recent communication,” he explained. “Had they initially communicated their concerns when they arose, I would have immediately stopped streaming the content in question.” The future of his Twitch channel While the IRL streamer’s channel was unbanned in October, the bounty hunter had to make some changes such as cutting the stream when raiding a house, or arresting a victim with violence. The Twitch channel now “goes dark” and links viewers to a private server, where the rest of the stream can be watched away from the platform to avoid any future upsets. Privately streamed raids are NOT sub only and we are doing our best to keep them that way. Appreciate your patience as we work out the kinks! — Stephen (@StephenIRL_) October 17, 2019 “I do wish to make it clear that this is in no way a planned substitute for streaming on Twitch, but as a way for the community to watch only the specific content that may result in violation(s) of Twitch’s terms of service,” he explained. Despite the whole ordeal, StephenIRL is not angry with Twitch and stated the ban was a part of the company’s “growing pains” to keep up with the amount of new streamers. “Regardless, it has been a huge lesson and opportunity for personal growth and maturity,” he said.

Stepson of billionaire killed in OceanGate disaster roasted for new “getting laid” comments Twitter/audioguy182The stepson of a billionaire killed in the OceanGate Titanic tragedy is getting roasted after complaining about not being able to “get laid.” British billionaire Hamish Harding perished during the OceanGate disaster, but as the internet tried to find the missing sub, his stepson was shooting his shot at OnlyFans models. In a short time period, Brian Szasz faced the wrath of the internet for allegedly using racist language and feuding with Cardi B over going to a Blink-182 concert all while messaging OnlyFans creators. Now, Szasz is once again making news for all the wrong reasons after he complained that he’s unable to “get laid” despite getting a fortune in inheritance money. Stepson of billionaire slammed for complaining about not “getting laid” In a post on Twitter, Szasz demanded that people stop asking him for money, but implemented a few special conditions where he would dig into his inheritance. “Quit asking me for money unless you’re a beautiful woman, trans women too! An OF model. Or a black dude trying to go to college!” he exclaimed. When asked how much money he inherited, Brian shot back with, “More than you’ll make in a lifetime.” However, all that money doesn’t seem to be helping the wealthy stepson. In a deleted post, he moaned, “With millions to spare, I still can’t get laid.” This comes despite Szasz constantly messaging OnlyFans models and users mocking him in the comments pretending to be OF creators to try and get his attention. We’ll have to see if he one day ends up finding love, after all, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

  • Stephen King wants Elon Musk to donate to charity instead of paying for Twitter Blue – Dexerto

Stephen King wants Elon Musk to donate to charity instead of paying for Twitter Blue Elon Musk recently “gifted” Twitter Blue to Stephen King despite the latter’s opinion on the matter. Today, King took to Twitter to clap back at Musk by saying the $8 should go to charity instead. After recently acquiring Twitter, Elon Musk has made a variety of changes to the social media platform. Many of these have been met with heavy criticism from users, especially after their years of Twitter usage. One of the most recent changes to be put into motion by Musk is the removal of the verified badge from profiles. This applies to both the blue mark on single users’ accounts and the yellow one on companies’ pages. Instead of obtaining a badge via a verification process, users only need to pay for one. Twitter is charging users $8 monthly for the blue verification and a whopping $1,000 for companies’ yellow verification badges. Stephen King has recently spoken up after receiving Twitter Blue without paying for it. Musk apparently “gifted” it to him, but King has better ideas for spending $8. Stephen King asks Elon Musk to donate to charity On April 20, Stephen King made a Tweet in which he clarified that he had never subscribed to Twitter Blue. Despite this, he had the blue verification mark beside his name, which would usually only be obtainable with the monthly subscription. Elon Musk replied directly to King’s post, simply saying that he was welcome and “namaste.” His response implied that the Twitter Blue was a gift to King from Musk. Nothing else was said on the matter for a couple of days. King then posted on April 22 to clap back at Musk, stating that “Mr. Musk should give my blue check to charity” instead. He even suggested the Prytula Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping Ukraine. King went on to say to the multibillionaire that it would just be “$8, so perhaps Mr. Musk could add a bit more.” As of now, Musk has not yet followed up on King’s new request. For now, it is safe to say that Stephen King is displeased with his gift from Twitter’s CEO. We will keep you posted if and when Elon Musk decides to respond to King’s challenge.

  • Stephen Tries, Spencer Owen & more explain beef with F2’s Jeremy Lynch – Dexerto

Stephen Tries, Spencer Owen & more explain beef with F2’s Jeremy Lynch YouTube: XOEver since the infamous 2018 Wembley Cup, which saw some of the biggest names of the UK YouTube’s scene face off against each other in a fun football tournament, there’s been a bunch of animosity among certain creators. Here’s why. Members of Hashtag United, the F2 Freestylers, Rebel FC and more took to London’s Wembley Stadium to play — but it didn’t end brilliantly, and there has been a well-publicised beef between the F2 and… well, just about everybody in UK YouTube. Now, more footage is emerging and people are speaking out against the F2, and more specifically one half of the duo, Jeremy Lynch. Here’s everything we know about the beef, with multiple influencers speaking out. Footage emerges of beef with Stephen Tries On September 1, when more and more people were starting to speak about it, a clip went viral of Stephen Tries arguing with Lynch and his comedian friend, ManLikeHaks. They were both trying to mocking each other, with Haks getting increasingly frustrated before True Geordie stepped in to break them up. https://twitter.com/YaniOurabah/status/1300836917500678145?s=20 This came shortly after Tries went on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast and spoke about the situation, including his history with F2, his diss track on the footballing duo (that it appears Lynch didn’t take kindly to), and Lynch’s frequent mentions of the money he has and cars he owns. On September 2, WillNE spoke briefly about the ordeal on the Eboys podcast, explaining some of the bizarre occurrences that led up to this confrontation. He said that Jeremy was walking around with his trophy showing it around to people, before approaching Stephen and telling him that Haks could beat him in a “comedy battle,” which evidently nobody really understood. Timestamp at 36:17 in the video below. A few days after the above podcast, on September 4, Stephen Tries uploaded a video on the ordeal — one that he claimed is “hopefully his last.” He said: “when you put yourself online, you’ve got to have that humility where you will get the p**s taken out of you. You’ve got to deal with it better than getting your mate to try and start on someone.” Clearly, there was some kind of beef between Stephen and the F2, but it quickly became clear that the situation was much deeper than just those two. Hashtag United’s Spencer Owen speaks out Spencer Owen, also known as Spencer FC, is the founder and CEO of Hashtag United, and published a video on September 1 calling Jeremy Lynch “the least likeable person” he’s ever come across on YouTube and saying he will “never work with him again.” Obviously, a lot of this boils down to the Wembley Cup event in question. In the hour-long video, Spencer and his brother Seb went through the entire series of events and their history with Lynch. Spencer speaks about how he once had a very good relationship with the F2, but that a big project he tried to get them involved in made him realize they are “very ruthless businessmen,” which isn’t something he can really work with. From there, Spencer explains how it started to become clear that there was a growing divide between the two parties, and that accusations of cheating at the Wembley Cup, in which the F2 threatened to end production and prevent the tournament from even happening, among other things. Spencer also speculates that there may be issues within the F2 camp, saying that there have been some instances where fellow F2 member Billy Wingrove looks uncomfortable with things Jeremy says or does, or vice versa. Seb also reveals that once, when there was some banter aimed towards Jeremy, the freestylers’ response was “Guys, laugh at me all you want, but I’m a multi, multi-millionaire,” and also introduced himself to a Hashtag player by saying “you know who I am.” The following week, Spencer and Seb spoke once again about the situation, detailing an email they had alluded to in the previous upload. In this email, it is claimed that the referee in their loss against XO actually did cheat, stopping the match at 13 minutes rather than 15 because he didn’t like the F2 guys. Obviously this is a huge disappointment for Spencer and Seb who helped organize everything, but also shows that the Jeremy Lynch and the F2 seem to have had a good habit of rubbing people the wrong way. Needless to say, there isn’t a good relationship between Lynch and the guys at Hashtag, but it’s starting to look like that’s a common theme among most of the UK’s biggest YouTubers. The F2 have also notably worked with the Sidemen and FaZe Clan, though neither party has spoken out about the F2, or Lynch himself, yet.

  • Stephen Colbert shades Logan Paul with sly KSI boxing jab – Dexerto

Stephen Colbert shades Logan Paul with sly KSI boxing jab YouTube: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert / ImpaulsiveYouTuber Logan Paul has been shaded by yet another talk-show host, with The Late Show’s Stephen Colbert making reference to the star’s boxing fight with KSI at the Staples Center in 2019. Logan Paul started making YouTube videos back in 2013, and in the years since he has amassed over 23 million subscribers, cementing him as one of the platform’s most famous creators. In recent years he has become better known for his hugely successful podcast ‘Impaulsive,’ and for his growing boxing career — particularly for his two fights with fellow YouTuber KSI in 2018 and 2019 respectively. On The Late Show on November 18, host Stephen Colbert was discussing the upcoming name change for the Staples Center (where KSI and Paul’s second fight was held) when he found an opportunity to poke fun at the content creator. “The Staples Center had so many great sports memories. Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game. The L.A. Kings’ Stanley Cup victory, Logan Paul getting punched in the head,” he said, rolling a clip of the moment from the fight. Topic starts at 0:21 When Logan and KSI’s first bout in 2018 ended in a majority draw, the pair returned for a rematch in 2019 at the Staples Center, which eventually resulted in a split decision victory for KSI. The audience seemed to enjoy the jab, and this isn’t even the first time Paul has been the butt of a talk show joke in recent months. In September, Jimmy Kimmel implied that Logan was one of “the very worst people in the whole world” — a jab that the YouTuber was not at all happy with. He went on to call out Kimmel for the “lame” joke, calling him a “f**king a**hole.” Logan has yet to respond to this latest mention from Colbert, but whether he will take a similar issue with this joke as he did with Kimmel’s remains to be seen.

  • Starbucks workers petition to combat removal of Pride decorations from stores – Dexerto

Starbucks workers petition to combat removal of Pride decorations from stores StarbucksStarbucks employees have called out the company for taking down LGBTQ+ decorations in select stores during Pride month, with staff now having created a petition to combat the issue. In celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, the month of June is now one that celebrates Pride. With Pride month comes a greater awareness for LGBTQ+ issues, with many companies typically changing their logos to honor the rainbow flag. As well as this, it is common for stores to decorate their shops with the Pride flag and other LGBTQ+ memorabilia as a show of support for the community and the month. However, Starbucks workers across the US have been reporting that the coffee chain is putting a ban on LGBTQ+ flags and Pride merch from being represented in select stores. In light of this, Starbucks workers have created a petition to challenge the idea that Pride flags cannot be put up throughout the month of June. “In a time where LGBT+ rights, transgender rights especially, are under attack, it’s important that both customers and partners feel supported and welcomed,” the text of the petition reads. It also notes that both workers and customers benefit from the decorations, with workers expressing that decorating stores for Pride month makes them “feel more involved with the store and free to express themselves.” Starbucks reportedly “ban” LGBTQ+ decorations during Pride month “Why is the company backing away from supporting its LGBT partners?” the petition questions. “What is there to gain from making every store depressingly identical, with no personality?” At the time of writing, the petition currently has over 2,500 signatures and is showing signs of growth. The Starbucks United Workers Group has also been active on Twitter, calling out the company for its stance and demanding change in regards to the issue. Stating that “Starbucks is powered by many queer workers, but management has failed to materially support the LGBTQ+ community.” Time will tell if Starbucks does rectify the mistake. However, they are yet to comment on the petition or the claims that they are being anti-LGBTQ+ friendly at this moment in time. • Stats reveal ridiculous amount fans spend on Twitch & other streaming sites – Dexerto

Stats reveal ridiculous amount fans spend on Twitch & other streaming sites Pixabay/TwitchNew stats for 2020 have revealed that UK consumers have spent more money on Twitch and other streaming sites than they did on pre-owned games. Twitch has taken the world by storm in recent years, becoming one of the prime entertainment destinations on the internet for more than just gaming. While gaming remains a key component of the Amazon-owned streaming site, IRL and Just Chatting broadcasts have revolutionized the industry, ushering in entirely new waves of fans. As such, it’s no surprise that in the UK alone, fans spend a whopping £45.6m ($63.26m) on streaming and “game video content” according to Ukie. Streaming sites are not limited to Twitch, however, as YouTube, Facebook and the now-defunct Mixer all had their share of fans. Remember, 2020 still had icons such as Ninja, shroud on Mixer while Dr Disrespect moved to YouTube following his bewildering ban on Twitch. “Included for the first time in 2020, streaming and game video content saw consumers spending £45.6m supporting streamers and other content creators, according to an analysis conducted by Ukie,” the research stated. This amount is far more than what was spent on video game movies, books, magazines and soundtracks combined, which equaled out to £33.4m ($46.32m) in 2020. According to Ukie, this news comes despite the success of the critically acclaimed Sonic the Hedgehog movie in February and a “continuing positive trend in-game music revenues.” Of course, 2020 also saw, to no one’s surprise, gaming events saw a massively sharp decline in revenue. With the global health issues canceling most in-person events, only $345.46k was made throughout the year. “While the impacts on operators in this space have been severe, several major events are already scheduled to return in 2021, while areas such as esports have relied upon digital-only routes,” Ukie wrote. • Starbucks worker mortified after mistaking man’s girlfriend for dog – Dexerto

Starbucks worker mortified after mistaking man’s girlfriend for dog Unsplash.com: Baptist Standaert / TikTok: mydadcallsmebillyA Starbucks worker is going viral after mistaking a customer’s girlfriend for a dog — even offering her a puppuccino before realizing her humorous blunder. Starbucks is one of the most prominent coffee chains in America. Offering a wide variety of coffee, tea, breakfast items, and more, it’s become a pretty popular place for folks to get their daily cup of Joe. One unique item that Starbucks has on the menu is a ‘puppuccino’ — basically, a cappuccino for dogs. However, there’s no coffee involved. Instead, it’s just a small cup of whipped cream for owners looking to include their furry friends in their regular Starbucks runs. It’s not uncommon for owners to request a puppuccino in the drive-thru… so one Starbucks worker simply assumed a customer wanted one when they pulled up to the window. Starbucks barista accidentally mistakes customer’s girlfriend for a dog TikTok user Libby Owens recorded her shocked reaction after asking if a man’s dog wanted a puppuccino — but it turns out that he didn’t actually have a dog in his vehicle. Instead, it was his girlfriend wearing a furry coat, and it left Libby feeling mortified. Her hilarious clip has racked up nearly three million views since being uploaded just a day ago, and viewers can’t help but share their own embarrassing experiences after making assumptions about people. “One time I told a girl I liked her blush and she said, ‘Thanks, it’s my rosacea,’” one user commented. “Once a customer had a dog on their lap and I said, ‘Awwwww, is it sleeping?’ And it had no eyes,” another shared. Still another said that the TikTok gave them a good idea for getting Starbucks on the cheap: “Now I know what to wear when I want a free puppuccino.” Although Starbucks’ secret menu items usually take TikTok by storm, this unfortunate barista’s mistake is giving users a laugh all across the app. (No word on if the girlfriend accepted the puppuccino offer, though.)

Starbucks lover under fire for sharing ‘Karen’ hack to avoid drive-thru line TikTok: quanahmichelleA woman posted a Starbucks hack on her TikTok, only to get backlash from viewers after they heard the ‘Karen’ way she snags a free drink in the drive-thru line. From time to time, it’s nice to get something for free. Whether the person in front of you in the line pays it forward, or an employee makes you a little something extra, it’s simply nice. But for TikToker Michelle who loves Starbucks, she has a rather sneaky way to get something for free — that something being a Starbucks drink. Since sharing her viral video to TikTok, Michelle has been under fire from viewers, as some have labeled her a “Karen” for getting away with a false claim to nab her free Starbucks drinks in the drive-thru. Starbucks lover called viewers “dumb” for calling her out for her free drink hack Though she tattled on herself in good fun, jokingly asking viewers to not make her TikTok video go viral, Michelle’s Starbucks hack has inevitably taken social media by storm. For Michelle, waiting in the drive-thru line at Starbucks is a strenuous task, so she created a way to get her drink for free to make up for her time in line. In her now-viral video, Michelle explained that she would call ahead of time to say she was late for work or missed an interview while waiting in the Starbucks drive-thru line when in reality, she likely hadn’t even ordered her drink yet. She then proceeds to drive to the window and receive her Starbucks order for free or at a 50% discount — every time. After TikTokers heard her drink hack, they flocked to her comments section to call her out for lying. Not only that, but some even hailed her as a ‘Karen,’ saying that she was exhibiting “Karen behavior.” Other reactions included, “Your time management issues are not their problem” and, “Hopefully they don’t give you anything else for free. Not a hack, but you seem entitled and need to manage your time like most adults.” One commenter even called Michelle out for lying, saying, “You’re receiving free things and discounts under false pretenses. But do you, boo.” Some viewers even called her “narcissistic” and urged her to delete her video so she didn’t receive the backlash that she ended up receiving. Not to mention, she could potentially be banned from Starbucks if an employee saw her video. In Michelle’s video, she also explained why she decided to share her Starbucks drink hack, saying, “I’m only telling you cause I’m leaving America.” Michelle also uploaded a second video to respond to the criticism, saying, “Being gifted and stealing are two totally different things.” She continued, “If they chose to give me Starbucks free or they chose to give me a 50% off discount, that’s not stealing, you dumb*ss. Don’t be mad because I’m just getting my way.”

Starbucks fires employee for making “scrumptious” steak tacos in work oven TikTok: @fugnarrA Starbucks employee was reportedly fired from their job after they were caught using their work oven to heat up and make their own food, with the worker uploading the situation to TikTok in a video that has now gone viral. All workplaces have rules and regulations that employees must abide by. For Starbucks, one such guideline is that staff are seemingly not allowed to use their work oven to heat up personal items. At Starbucks, customers are able to purchase items such as sandwiches and other savory snacks which can then be toasted in the cafe’s industrial oven. In a recent TikTok video, user @fugnarr uploaded a video of them making steak tacos while working a shift at Starbucks, with the employee detailing the full rundown of how they made their meal using the Starbucks convection oven. However, the video then cuts to an image of the workers, with the caption “Goodbye Starbucks, that steak was fire.” The video also shows what looks to be a “notice of separation” document. Starbucks employee fired for cooking lunch in work oven The video, which now has almost 500k views, was captioned, “steak so scrumptious HR investigated me for the secret recipe.” The video can be viewed here: In the comments section of the TikTok, @fugnarr revealed that a coworker had “tattled” on them and as a result, their supervisor was notified about the situation. However, they didn’t seem too bothered, even detailing the recipe for the steak tacos. “Turkey pesto button x3 times then flip and 3 more Turkey pestos,” they explained. The video is filled with comments from people showing their support for the ex-employee. “They should’ve promoted you instead I’m tired of the 3D printed sandwiches,” one commenter said. While another wrote, “You were just reheating your lunch, wrongful termination.” And while it is still unclear whether or not they were fired from Starbucks solely for reheating their food in the oven, a Starbucks worker explained in a Reddit thread that it is against policy for employees to do so. “Per Starbucks policy and food and safety procedures, we are not supposed to warm up our own personal food we bring from home in the ovens.” For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

In a video making rounds on social media, a woman is seen having a dispute with a Starbucks employee inside one of their stores. That’s when things took a turn. Starbucks customer destroys display in dispute with worker In a video shared on X/Twitter, a Starbucks customer was seen arguing with one of the workers. The overlay text on the video says: “Why are people like this?” The blonde woman, dressed in shorts and a tank top, is seen at the counter of a Starbucks, having a loud conversation with one of the workers. She is heard telling the worker: “I know you’re not listening to my request.” The worker then replies to the customer in an attempt to calm her down but without success. The woman continues: “You’re not taking my order, I’m still trying to order. Homegirl, no. “You don’t know how to f**king listen. The internet is aflame with reactions amid the ongoing court hearing between former spouses and A-List actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Depp is suing Heard for a whopping $50 million due to alleged defamation after the Aquaman actress spoke out about purported abuse from Depp in a 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post. The hearing is taking social media platforms by storm, including TikTok — mostly because one Starbucks coffee shop decided to let customers weigh in on the situation via tip jars. Starbucks baristas go viral after revealing craziest orders ever Twitter: @ProjectJosiee / Pexels.com: Dom JWhile Starbucks might not be everyone’s cup of tea (or coffee, rather), some fans just can’t get enough of the coffee chain’s signature beverages… many of which can be customized in ridiculous ways. Starbucks is home to the Frappuccino, Pink Drink, fruity refreshers, and a slew of other delicious bevs, becoming a hugely popular chain that doesn’t limit itself to coffee, alone. Its not-so-secret “secret menu” and customizable orders have rendered Starbucks a favorite spot for coffee connoisseurs, and some of the brand’s baristas have gone viral for sharing the craziest customizations they’ve had to make for customers throughout their careers. The trend started after a barista by the name Josie shared an over-the-top Venti Caramel Crunch Frappuccino to Twitter. As if that by itself isn’t enough to give you cavities for a lifetime, this particular customer took the already sugary bev to another level. In total, the customer added: 5 banana, extra caramel drizzle, extra whipped cream, extra ice, extra cinnamon dollop, 7 pumps of dark caramel sauce, extra caramel crunch, 1 pump honey blend, extra salt, 5 pumps frap roast coffee, 7 frappuccino chips, heavy cream — all double blended. Understandably, Josie captioned his photo of the order, “On today’s episode of why I wanna quit my job” — and he wasn’t the only barista to express such sentiments. https://twitter.com/ProjectJosiee/status/1388672650277384193?s=20 Soon after, baristas were replying with the wildest drinks they’ve ever had to make, including one worker who was simply asked for a cup of water with whipped cream on top. “This has to be for a dog,” one commenter pointed out. “The alternative is just too upsetting.” However, nothing comes close to another barista’s bi-weekly customer nightmare, which consists of an overloaded Green Tea Frapp with so many additions that the order sticker is reminiscent of a CVS receipt. https://twitter.com/devilfaceemojii/status/1389047156791672832?s=20 Still more baristas shared similar situations, as though trying to compete for the most additions made to a drink they’d ever seen — and we have to give a respectful salute to the coffee artisans for creating such monstrosities in the name of customer service. Does the whole milk and the Nonfat milk cancel each other out? — ⚡Bolts&BucsBabe⚡ (@boltsbucsbabe) May 3, 2021 While everyone loves customizing their coffee order now and then, this is certainly an eye-opening thread that reveals just how much work goes into making your favorite Starbucks drinks.

His video, posted on June 5, garnered over 15 million views in just a few days for showing that the coffee poured into their smallest cup size, tall, actually fills up the cup of their largest size, venti. One user said, “He never shows inside the cup before the liquid is poured. My guess is he has a piece of styrofoam or something in it.” Although Sueco has yet to comment if he faked the video or not, users have caught on to the likelihood he messed with the inside of the cups to create an overflowing effect.

Starbucks is one of the biggest mainstream coffee chains in the United States. As such, it’s not unusual for most locations to see a huge influx of people every day who’ve gotta get their Frappe fix. Of course, as with every establishment, most food/drink locales have their regulars who come in every day at a certain time to order their usual items. However, not every barista at a chain as big as Starbucks is going to have every regular’s order on hand each time — something that TikToker ‘notlikeothergurlz’ couldn’t help but vent about on the viral video app. The TikToker has stirred up a conversation on the platform after sharing how she deals with certain regulars who ask for their “usual,” without any further explanation. “Saying, ‘Umm, and what is that?’ When my least favorite regular comes in and asks for the usual,” she captioned her video, showing herself behind the counter at Starbucks and wearing the chain’s signature green apron. Now, a barista for the chain is going viral for opening customers’ eyes about the secrets behind their favorite drinks. TikTok star Swazey clarified that a ‘Macchiato’ means the espresso shots go on top of the drink. She then claimed that their blonde espresso is made with more caffeine, and that their nitro cold brew is infused with nitrogen (because of course it is). That’s not all; she says the chain’s Caramel Macchiato is actually made with vanilla, and is called as such due to the caramel drizzle in the cup. Popular makeup artist and fellow YouTuber Cole Carrigan uploaded a video to Twitter on May 5, claiming that Dallas had come up to him at a house party, unprovoked, and thrown a bottle of water on his pants – an action that Carrigan claims was motivated by homophobia. The video in question was apparently taken after the incident took place, with Carrigan approaching Dallas and angrily explaining the situation to his fans. so last night at a party i was outside talking to people minding my own business when @camerondallas decides to comes up to me and throw his water bottle all over me for absolutely no reason other than being a homophobic drunk asshole. i won’t tolerate that shit. pic.twitter.com/SXNNwgCajM — cole (@ColeCarrigann) May 5, 2019 “…fucking ugly-ass Cameron Dallas is throwing water all over my fucking pants like a peice of shit,” Carrigan says in the clip. “So fuck you.” Carrigan followed up his video with another statement on the matter, claiming that Dallas “froze up” after realizing he was being called out. the kid was shook that i started recording him and froze up real fucking quick. it’s 2019 if your still homophobic or insecure about your own sexuality so you have to take it out on people who are confident with theirs you’re TRASH — cole (@ColeCarrigann) May 5, 2019 “The kid was shook that I started recording him and froze up real fucking quick,” he wrote of the debacle. “It’s 2019. • Starbucks barista at wits’ end after 50% off deal takes over coffee chain – Dexerto

Starbucks barista at wits’ end after 50% off deal takes over coffee chain TikTok: captainxhen/UnsplashTikToker ‘Captainxhen’ is a Starbucks barista that’s at their wits’ end after the company began a 50% sale in July called “Summer TuesYays” that takes place every Tuesday of the month. When it comes to purchasing cups of coffee, Starbucks is by far the most popular place for people to go. So popular, in fact, that TikTok baristas have grown rather large communities on the app, and one has even gone viral after sharing the coffee chain’s “secrets.” Another Starbucks barista — TikToker ‘captainxhen’ — is at their wits’ end after the chain started a 50% off deal throughout the month of July… and they’ve shared their experience. Barista at their wits end after massive sale In a now-viral video, Hen recorded himself in his green Starbucks apron while sitting in the store’s break room and says that things have been hectic at work. “Is anyone else’s Starbucks getting slammed hard today cause of the 50% off coupon?” he asked. “Bruhh, it’s been super busy and I work at a cafe Starbucks.” (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) As the first video began going viral, viewers took to the comments to ask how the barista was handling the rush. A few hours later, he posted an update video. “Ladies, we are still dying right now. Down to three girlies. Pray [we] will make it out tonight.” (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) According to the Starbucks website, the 50% coupon referenced in the video is a promotion the company is running throughout July 2022 called “Summer TuesYays” that gives Starbucks rewards members half off the price of a cold beverage. Starbucks customers are absolutely enjoying the new half-off promotion, taking to the comments to express how they feel bad for the employees but can’t bring themselves to pass up a cheap drink as a treat. At least we know that the different cup sizes actually hold different amounts of liquid now, though.

  • Star Wars fans react to $100,000 Grogu toy: “Mf better be a real Jedi” – Dexerto

Star Wars fans react to $100,000 Grogu toy: “Mf better be a real Jedi” Adam Savage’s TestedStar Wars fans hope the $100,000 Mandalorian-inspired Grogu animatronic is a real Jedi given its incredibly high price tag. Grogu, once fondly referred to as Baby Yoda, captured the hearts of millions a few years ago when The Mandalorian first premiered on Disney Plus. He’s since become quite the pop culture phenomenon as the series continues to explore his capabilities. As such, Disney’s spared no expense when investing in the proliferation of Grogu-branded merchandise. Blankets, plushies, statues, Funko Pops, and even waffle makers have been produced in the little guy’s honor. Mandalorian faithful can also purchase a few cheaply made animatronics. Star Wars’ lifelike Grogu animatronic costs about $100,000 Footage of a pricier, lifelike Grogu animatronic has been making the rounds online, showing off the collectible sitting in a hovering pram. It can move its head, wave, blink, and make other expressions that look eerily in line with its TV counterpart. The incredibly expensive item from EFX Collectibles ranges in price from $85,000 to $100,000 depending on the number of servos ordered. A basic model, for example, boasts about 15 servos that facilitate the use of Baby Yoda’s arms, ears, eyes, and head. Buyers can also opt to add servos that control mouth movements and other advanced tricks. Many fans don’t seem too impressed considering the asking price, however. “That mf better be a real jedi,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the post below: “Mf better be washing my dishes,” someone else joked in the replies. Others said they’d be willing to pay up if they had enough cash sitting around. Wrote pro-Halo player Tyler Ganza, “If I had so much money I didn’t know what to do with it, this would be one of the things I’d buy.” Since this particular Star Wars Grogu animatronic was previously custom-made for every order, those interested would likely need to start a consult with the EFX Collectibles crew.

  • Star Citizen developers wish LIRIK happy birthday in creepiest way – Dexerto

Star Citizen developers wish LIRIK happy birthday in creepiest way Twitch star Saqib ‘LIRIK’ Zahid was enjoying his 29th birthday on October 29 with his stream, and the developers of Star Citizen joined in to celebrate – although in the creepiest way possible. LIRIK spent his birthday the only way he knows how – with his Twitch family. Going live for a 29th birthday stream was as easy as waking up in the morning for the streaming superstar, and he was gearing up to play some more Star Citizen. However, halfway through a relatively normal stream, the streamer was shocked by a surprise announcement – from within the game – about his special day. The only issue being, the statement scared LIRIK more than it made him feel good. During his October 29 birthday stream, LIRIK was fooling around in Star Citizen completing some missions and doing some exploring. An ominous voice started looming around while he was cave diving, which is already a haunting enough experience. However, once the voice came down and wished him happy birthday, the streamer was spooked. “Did he just say happy birthday,” he asked his chat. He seemed confused at what was happening, even doubting that he heard it in the first place. “I swear to God I just heard that,” he said. What the f***. I think I’m hearing things, there’s no way. How would the alien know?” It seems like the developers coded in this voiceline just for this occasion. LIRIK streams Star Citizen frequently, drawing a lot of attention to the game which has been in development for almost a decade now. He’s been a vital part of their community after a rocky first few years of development saw the game fall behind with setback-after-setback. The developers did actually wish him a nicer happy birthday on Twitter. However, they didn’t live up to their promise of “no stream sniping as a birthday gift” with this gag. Happy birthday @LIRIK who’s streaming Star Citizen right now. Let’s all agree to no stream sniping as a birthday gift, shall we?https://t.co/a6CGwUcjdh — Star Citizen (@RobertsSpaceInd) October 29, 2019 The interaction in game was weird, but the sentiment behind it was nice. It’s probably not the birthday gift LIRIK would have asked for, nor expected, but it was appreciated down the line. However, he’d be hoping that next year during his 30th birthday stream that the voiceover is a little more friendly.

Star Wars fan devastated after dog ruins massive LEGO Star Destroyer TikTok/polskihussarA Star Wars fanatic is going viral after his dog completely obliterated his huge LEGO Star Destroyer while he tried to bring it downstairs. A massive Star Wars collector and cosplayer is wishing he really had force powers after he tried to transport his Venator class Star Destroyer to another area of his house. Sadly, it seems like he would have had an easier time successfully navigating an asteroid field than avoiding his rambunctious canine. In a viral video taking over TikTok, user ‘polskihussar’ was left heartbroken after his Star Destroyer shattered into hundreds of pieces, but some fans think it was all for views. TikTok split after dog annihilates Star Wars LEGO Star Destroyer In the clip that has been viewed over 19M times on TikTok, polskihussar was trying to move his massive LEGO build down some stairs when his dog came running down. After nudging his leg a bit and scampering away, the TikToker lost control of the Clone Wars’ series craft, resulting in it hitting the floor and breaking apart in many little pieces. “This is why I always film myself moving my legos.. sad day. The puppy did not get hit, even though it’s his fault,” the user captioned the clip. Although many fellow Star Wars and LEGO enthusiasts were flabbergasted by the ordeal, some believe the fall was done on purpose for content and viral TikTok views. “I gasped then rewatched and realized it was a set up,” one commented. “You did that on purpose didn’t you,” said another who didn’t believe the incident was real. Regardless of the legitimacy of the crash, the Star Wars TikToker remained in good spirits and was all smiles even though he’ll have to rebuild his epic creation from scratch yet again.

  • Stanley owner says she’s embarrassed in public due to “bizarre culture” – Dexerto

Stanley owner says she’s embarrassed in public due to “bizarre culture” TikTok: tibobelA longtime Stanley owner said she’s now embarrassed to use her tumbler in public due to how crazy the culture around the cup has gotten. Isobel took to TikTok to explain how she has been using Stanley water bottles for over a year. Though an initial fan, her opinion about the bottle has recently changed. Being that Stanleys are so popular that people are jumping over counters and lining up hours in advance to get one, Isobel admitted that she’s now “embarrassed” to use her Stanley in public. Viewers of Isobel’s viral TikTok also commented, saying that they don’t bring theirs in public either because they don’t want people to think they “trampled” someone else to get their Stanley. Longtime Stanley owners agree they are “embarrassed” to carry their tumbler in public Displaying her green-colored Stanley tumbler on TikTok, Isobel explained that it was her “only” water bottle. However, she now feels self-conscious about bringing it out in public, even saying that she won’t take it to yoga class because she doesn’t want people to think she owns “30 more” at home. Isobel even joked about the Stanley craze being a “government operative,” meaning she thinks there’s a higher influence informing people’s sudden obsession with Stanley tumblers. Going on to say that the Stanley culture has turned “bizarre,” it’s no wonder why Isobel said she plans to trade out her current Stanley within a year. Viewers of Isobel’s viral TikTok commented with similar feelings, “Yes! I’m embarrassed but I refuse to give into overconsumption by buying a different reusable bottle that will inevitably go out of style.” Someone else wrote, “Same. I’ve had mine for like 2 years and I’m embarrassed to carry it around now lol.” One viewer even said that despite buying their Stanley tumbler months ago, they don’t leave it in their car anymore because they learned that it’s a “sought-after” color. Though Stanley aisles are clearing out in stores everywhere, the craze doesn’t seem to be diminishing despite how outlandish the culture may seem.

  • Stanley tumbler fan faces backlash for laminating Target product label – Dexerto

Stanley tumbler fan faces backlash for laminating Target product label Instagram: world_of_magical_mugsA fan of the viral Stanley insulated mugs is facing scrutiny after preserving the product’s label from Target by laminating it and sticking it back on the cup. Stanley cups are all the rage right now — to the point where folks are literally jumping over counters and stealing them or standing in long lines before stores even open to get their hands on one of the coveted vessels. The Stanley brand insulated mugs recently had a few collaborations that are going viral on social media… namely, their Winter Pink cup at Target Starbucks locations and Target’s own Valentine’s collaboration. In fact, the cups became so popular that Target had to put a purchase limit on the pink cups. But in spite of the store’s best efforts, it doesn’t look like Stanley cup fever is dying down anytime soon. In fact, one fan of the brand is going viral on Instagram for their choice to preserve the mug’s product label from Target, and it’s leaving quite a few commenters perplexed. Stanley cup fan laminates Target label: “This is getting out of hand” Instagram user ‘world_of_magical_mugs’ uploaded a video on January 3 showing how they removed and laminated the product label wrapped around their pink Stanley cup, then glued it back onto the mug. After their work was done, it looked as though they’d just purchased the mug from Target. “The Valentine’s label on the Cosmo Pink tumbler was so cute, I had to get it laminated,” they explained. “For me, it’s part of the cup and I didn’t want to have it ruined when I washed it.” Despite their reasoning, quite a few viewers were left confused and gobsmacked at the lengths fans of the Stanley cups are going to flex their highly-coveted products. “This is getting out of hand,” one commenter wrote. “This is like leaving the Stock X tags on shoes lol,” yet another said. “Should have just left it in the Amazon box,” another user replied. However, many others are in support of the user’s choice to preserve the label, with one writing, “Cute! Do what makes you happy.” “I’m a sucker for packaging, so I totally get it,” another said. This is just the latest drama to unfold around the Stanley cups after a woman came under fire for complaining her husband had bought her the “wrong” cup from the viral brand. Stanley cup rush at Target ends in disaster after woman faceplants in crowd TikTok: meaganfetchhappenA woman has sworn she’ll never return to Target after faceplanting in-store on her way to purchase a viral Valentine’s Day Stanley cup. Target’s Stanley cups are currently all the rage, drawing in thousands of eager customers as they scramble to snag one for themselves. With the cups selling out as soon as they hit the shelves, Target has had to put in place a purchase limit to manage the madness in stores and keep up with demand. One woman who bought a Valentine’s Day Stanley cup, however, claims she will never be able to shop at Target again after faceplanting in her rush to grab one of the popular cups. Meagan Henagan Howard, who goes by ‘meaganfetchhappen‘ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to recount the “embarrassing” experience. She said, “Let’s flashback to yesterday at 8 AM. The doors open, it’s a stampede, I’m running through the check-out line to try to get to the Stanleys, and my Ugg catches in the floor. I fly — I splatted like a bug on the floor, like completely faceplanted.” After recovering from her fall and buying one of the sought-after cups, Meagan returned the next day in hopes of getting to see security footage of her fall. This was where things took a turn for the worst; “They go in the room with the camera footage… they come out laughing after just watching me face plant on the floor.” The workers then allegedly told Meagan that although they couldn’t show her the footage, she “really ate it”. While unable to see footage of the actual fall itself, Meagan did post another TikTok filmed by her 9-year-old nephew showcasing the pair’s flight through the store on their way to the Standley cups. “Now not only am I embarrassed by the people who witnessed this firsthand, but now I know the employees are probably going around showing everybody the video of me eating it,” Meagan said. “Now I’m known as the girl who fell. Like they already had heard that someone had fallen, but then I mistakenly asked them for the footage and now they saw it too.”

  • Stanley offers to replace woman’s car after fire leaves brand’s tumbler untouched – Dexerto

Stanley offers to replace woman’s car after fire leaves brand’s tumbler untouched TikTok: danimarieletteringA woman’s car was left wrecked by fire but, somehow, her Stanley Tumbler survived the ordeal. Now, the company is looking to help her out. Sometimes things happen for a reason, even that which seems to have no silver lining at the time. Danielle, who goes by ‘danimarielettering’ on TikTok, was left down a car after her vehicle was destroyed by fire. However, the flame’s reach did not encompass all. Showing off the aftermath, Danielle left the platform stumped after revealing not only had her Stanley Tumbler miraculously survived the ordeal, but it still had ice inside. Blown away by the cup’s cooling abilities, many called for Stanley to take note of Danielle’s free, albeit unintentional, marketing — and the company most definitely did. Stitching her video, the global president of Stanley, Terence Reilly, responded, “We’ve all seen your video … and we’re all really glad you’re safe. Thanks for sharing the video because wow, it really shows our Stanleys are built for life.” Claiming that Danielle’s video was proof of the tumbler’s “quality,” Terence decided to make a one-time offer; “I’ve seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys, well we’re going to send you some Stanleys. But there’s one more thing… we’d love to replace your vehicle.” Terence admitted the company had never done anything of the sort before and would likely “never do it again,” viewers applauding the company’s honesty. Danielle was also blown away by the offer, posting a second video in which she admitted to “almost” passing out upon finding out the news. She also claimed the surviving Stanley would be kept as a memento, though it was unlikely to be used for drinking again. Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

  • Stand-up comedians split the internet after beefing on TikTok over “rude” headliner – Dexerto

Stand-up comedians split the internet after beefing on TikTok over “rude” headliner TikTok: katiekcomedy / TikTok: mojobrookzzTwo stand-up comedians are beefing on TikTok after performing a show together and coming away from the experience with very different interpretations of the night. Stand-up comedy isn’t the easiest gig and involves understanding your audience and knowing how to get a crowd excited. After all, as humor is subjective, what works for one comedian may not for another. Katie, who goes by ‘katiekcomedy‘ online found this out the hard way after opening for a fellow comic, ‘Mojo Brooks’, only to find herself roasted during his headliner. Taking to TikTok, Katie slammed the experience as “egregious” without naming Brooks. However, internet sleuths quickly determined who she was talking about and it wasn’t long before Brooke hit back… and he came with receipts. According to Katie, she had a “perfectly wonderful set” that went overtime when Brooks arrived late to his own show; “I did not bomb. I’m a self-aware person, I’ve been doing stand-up for over eight years so if I bombed, I think I would know.” Nonetheless, according to Katie, she was unfairly ripped into by Brooks once he finally came on stage. She said, “He comes out, doesn’t look me in the eye, doesn’t shake my hand, and starts ripping me to shreds saying, “I’m so sorry that she was on the show, you didn’t rock up to the wrong building and I’m sorry if you wanted a refund.’” “People like this give stand-up comics a bad name,” Katie captioned her video. And so began the TikTok beef between the two comics. Addressing the claims made against him, Brooks responded with his own video in which he denied arriving late to his show and claimed Katie did not “bring the energy” to his show. He included messages he’d received from fans who questioned whether they were at the wrong show during Katie’s act, as well as clips to compare both sets, including when Katie told the crowd to get “buck wild”. “For the record, I’m the [biggest] female comedy supporter! I’ve taken several on the road with me over my 10-year career! I requested a female feature that night! It just wasn’t her night that night but I couldn’t ignore the [elephant] in the room!” Brooks captioned. “I even had the crowd clap it up for her! Wish her the best in her career but Mam, be honest!” Katie has since responded, claiming Brooks specifically used clips that would showcase him in a positive light. Viewers have been divided over whose side to take, though some pointed out that while she is doubling down, Katie has yet to provide receipts. To put the matter to rest, Brooks posted a full clip from Katie’s set to prove he wasn’t using clips in his favor.

  • Stable Ronaldo unbanned on Twitch day after Fortnite star’s surprise suspension – Dexerto

Stable Ronaldo unbanned on Twitch day after Fortnite star’s surprise suspension YouTube: Stable Ronaldo / TwitchFortnite star ‘Stable Ronaldo’ has been unbanned on twitch after the NRG streamer was slapped with a 24 hour ban on December 1 — rumored for showing sexually suggestive content on stream. The exact reason, however, was never disclosed. Stable Ronaldo is one of Twitch’s biggest stars, with over 2.3 million followers on the platform and thousands of average viewers. However, he was issued a brief ban from streaming, leaving the NRG Fortnite star in panic. He was streaming Valorant to nearly 5,000 viewers on Twitch late on December 1 before he was suddenly slapped with a one-day ban. The star took some time to process the suspension on Twitter. “I just, right now, got banned on Twitch?” “I’m actually about to freak the f**k out and start saying a bunch of sh*t if nobody contacts me about this,” he added in a now-deleted tweet. There are suspicions the streamer was banned for showing sexually suggestive content after a tweet from fellow Fortnite star ‘Clix’ popped up on stream. It came directly after the star showed, what viewers believe, is a slightly suggestive clip on stream. However, he dispelled the latter as the reason — and never opened up publicly on exactly why he kicked off briefly. “It’s not this [referring to the Twitch clip], it was Clix’s private account tweeted something and it showed. I think that’s what it is,” Ronaldo said. Twitch does “restrict content that involves nudity or is sexual in nature,” according to its community guidelines. https://twitter.com/Enny_XP/status/1466240530833199105 Ronaldo’s 24-hour ban means he can get back to streaming on December 2, although he might be a bit wary of scrolling through Twitter on his return.

Fans outraged as Stan Lee’s Twitter used to promote NFTs of superheroes The late Stan Lee’s Twitter page is once again being used for monetary gain, but this time it’s to promote the sale of NFTs. The NFT is meant to honor Lee’s legacy, but fans are outraged. Stan Lee (1922 – 2018) was the creator of Marvel comics and was considered by many to be a real-life superhero. Throughout his career, he co-created some of the most iconic superheroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and more. With the news of his passing in 2018, Marvel fans across the globe mourned the loss of a hero. However, over the past three years since his passing, Stan Lee’s Twitter has stayed relatively active. The majority of these post-mortem tweets have been advertisements for products using Lee’s likeness. People haven’t been happy with the use of his Twitter, but an NFT promotion has resulted in a horde of outraged fans. Stan Lee’s Twitter promotes NFTs On December 14, another advertisement disguised as a tweet was posted on Stan Lee’s Twitter. This time, however, the ad wasn’t for a physical collector’s item but was instead for an NFT of one of Lee’s original characters. Chakra the Invincible is Lee’s first Indian hero whom he created in 2012. He’s not a part of the Marvel universe Lee is known for but is a standalone hero in his own. Chakra debuted in an animated film that premiered on Cartoon Network. According to the tweet, the NFT is meant to “honor [Lee’s] innovative spirit”. • SSSniperWolf turns Lilly Singh’s love life into a video game – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf turns Lilly Singh’s love life into a video game Massively popular YouTube stars “SSSniperWolf” and Lilly Singh teamed up for a humorous take on dating simulator games, with Singh starring as the protagonist looking for love. With SSSniperWolf being one of the platform’s top gaming creators, it comes as little surprise that Singh chose her for her latest collaboration, who “guided” Lily through the game as if she were streaming the title for her audience. Tasked with a timed mission called “Ratchet Cinderella,” SSSniperWolf’s main objective for the game was helping Lilly “Get Laid” — which included several tasks like picking the right “skin” and correct items for her “inventory.” The video even poked fun at popular gaming tropes, after SSSniperWolf found the “perfect” skin behind a $5,000 paywall — which was labeled “Courtesy of EA” in reference to the company’s infamous Star Wars: Battlefront II DLC scandal. Lilly’s collab also included a joke about Dark Souls and Cuphead’s famous difficulty levels, which she compared to her own “game” as a good-humored prod toward gaming publications’ trope-worthy praise of the titles. Of course, Lilly’s journey was fraught with glitches, and even saw an awkward “battle of the exes” — and although she ended up failing the “mission,” behind the scenes footage of their collaboration shows a happy (and hilarious) ending to the shenanigans. During this extra vlog, SSSniperWolf attempted to educate Singh on the world of gaming, which included more than a few humorous moments where Singh asked “What the heck is a CoD?” and “What the hell is Final Fantasy?” when the titles were brought up in conversation. Although Singh might not be a gaming aficionado, her third collaboration of the holiday season went off without a hitch in wake of her late night show “A Little Late With Lilly Singh,” which has been met with mixed reviews from critics for such issues as “overused” jokes and forced laugh tracks. For now, it looks like Singh is preparing for her fourth collaborative video — although good luck in the video game sphere may not be in her future.

  • SSSniperWolf responds to hate for allegedly “ghosting” terminally ill fan – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf responds to hate for allegedly “ghosting” terminally ill fan YouTube: SSSniperWolfPopular reaction YouTuber SSSniperWolf is coming under fire after an angry mother claimed the influencer ditched a meeting with her terminally ill child. 29-year-old Alia ‘SSSniperWolf’ Shelesh is an uber-popular YouTuber with over 30 million subscribers. The influencer is best known for her reaction videos where she shares her thoughts on popular trends or viral content. Her uploads often garner millions of views each. While she might be one of the biggest names on YouTube, she’s coming under fire after a mother claimed that she bailed after agreeing to meet with her terminally ill child, Kiara. Initially, Kiara appeared on an episode of Adam22’s No Jumper podcast, where she mentioned that her biggest dream was to meet SSSniperWolf. Adam22 reached out to the reaction YouTuber to let her know about the situation, prompting her to reportedly reach out to Kiara’s mother to schedule a FaceTime call with the sick child. Unfortunately, this initial meeting never ended up happening. In a series of Instagram messages provided by Drama Alert, Kiara’s mother and SSSniperWolf can be seen excitedly arranging a call around Christmas day — but it’s after this introduction that things start to fall through. The two struggled to come up with a time that worked for both parties. At one point, the mother posted an Instagram story asking fans to reach out to SSSniperwolf, which the influencer purportedly asked her to delete on the premise of wanting to avoid “spam” messages asking her to video chat with fans. Eventually, SSSniperwolf claimed that her days are “very busy” and says that it will be difficult to find a time to call the youngster… a statement that prompted Kiara’s mother to give the influencer an earful. “It would have been nice for you to just say hi,” the mother wrote in an Instagram DM. “It’s okay, she’s dying and literally has days to live. I just tried to make my daughter’s last wishes happen.” Although SSSniperWolf reaffirmed that she would “make it happen,” the mother seemingly had enough and blocked the influencer from messaging her again. SSSniperWolf meets with terminally ill fan after backlash However, SSSniperWolf claims that she has since been able to get back in touch with the mother and says she did send a video message to Kiara, after all. People just want an excuse to start drama. I have gotten into contact with the girls mom and I have sent her a video 🙂 — Lia (@sssniperwolf) December 28, 2021 Luckily, this situation had a positive (if incredibly bittersweet) ending — even if the road getting there was a little rocky.

  • SSSniperWolf hits back at KEEMSTAR for mocking one of her fans – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf hits back at KEEMSTAR for mocking one of her fans Popular streamer and YouTuber Alia ‘Lia’ Shelesh (known by her tag SSSniperWolf) has hit back at Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR for bullying a fan of hers over Twitter. The incident began when KEEMSTAR accused Lia of photoshopping her waist in an Instagram post, in which she showed off her Fortnite-themed Halloween costume. Twitter user snookerluke came to her defense underneath one of KEEMSTAR’s Tweets, writing, “Why you always hating on Lia?” KEEMSTAR then posted a screenshot of the reply with another post of Snookerluke’s, where he wished Lia a happy birthday on October 22nd. “Alexa, what is a virgin?” KEEMSTAR said of the screenshots. Snookerluke protected his Tweets in response and updated his bio to read, “Thank you KEEMSTAR. Goodbye guys ☠.” KEEMSTAR appeared to realize the severity of the situation, posting a screenshot of the fan’s bio with the caption, “I feel bad. That SSSniperwolf fanman I called a virgin (jokingly) is kinda upset. Tell him it’s just jokes.” I know you don’t like me but this is absolutely disgusting. You called one of my fans a virgin and all your followers attacked him and now he deactivated his account and you say it’s a JOKE? This is not a JOKE https://t.co/gKdxqLTglB — Lia (@sssniperwolf) November 2, 2018 Lia took issue with KEEMSTAR’s treatment of her fan and called him out in a reply to his Tweet, writing, “I know you don’t like me, but this is absolutely disgusting. You called one of my fans a virgin and all your followers attacked him and now he deactivated his account and you say it’s a JOKE? This is not a JOKE.” However, KEEMSTAR didn’t Lia’s response very seriously, responding with, “Since you are a Photoshop pro on Instagram, Maybe you can Photoshop my nasty tweet into me saying something nice.” 600 Other users have come out in defense of Lia and her fan, to which KEEMSTAR has granted similar responses – all of which are now deleted. The fan has since changed his Twitter bio, which now says, “Have to ruin me cuz I like sssniperwolf.”

  • SSSniperWolf hits out at Instagram model over YouTube copyright claim – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf hits out at Instagram model over YouTube copyright claim Instagram: SSSnipeWolf/NieceWaidhoferPopular YouTuber Lia ‘SSSniperWolf’ has hit out at Instagram model Niece Waidhofer after she filed a copyright claim on a video where the YouTuber used an image of her in the thumbnail. SSSniperWolf kicked off her YouTube channel in 2013 quickly gaining popularity for her Call of Duty gameplays where she would commentate over the action by telling stories from her past or what had happened to her recently. In recent years, the British-born American content creator has pivoted away from gameplay videos and become more of a reaction channel – making videos on viral clips, images, and other things. However, one of her recent videos, the Reddit Roast Me challenge, was struck down due to a copyright strike. The strike in question came from Instagram model Niece Waidhofer, who posted an image of herself to the /r/roastme subreddit. She was featured in the thumbnail for SSSniperWolf’s video, claiming that her image had been altered to make her “uglier” and used as “clickbait.” “For someone who says things in her videos like “this is why I hate girls,” this is a super bitchy thing to do,” Niece posted on her Instagram. “Flipping my photo horizontally and photoshopping my forehead bigger does not exempt you from copyright law, @sssniperwolf.” In her post, the model showed off the thumbnail in question with a screenshot, while swiping to the right would reveal a video that showed how the YouTuber’s upload had disappeared thanks to her claim. https://www.instagram.com/p/B9DGA_ahxr8/ However, it wasn’t long before SSSniperWolf hit back, commenting on the model’s post about the claim she made by defending herself. “By posting your pic you ASKED to get roasted on Reddit, and you COPY STRIKE my video because it has your face in it,” Lia said, before making a fair use claim. “Your face and image is fair use. This is very pathetic and low.” As of writing, the video is still available to be found on YouTube but anyone who tries to watch it will be met by a black screen that reveals Waidhofer’s copyright claim. Whether or not the pair will be able to get things straightened out remains to be seen, but as of now, that seems unlikely.

  • SSSniperwolf hits back at AzzyLand’s accusations of “copying” her content – Dexerto

SSSniperwolf hits back at AzzyLand’s accusations of “copying” her content YouTube: AzzyLand, SSSniperWolfYouTube star SSSniperWolf is hitting back after fellow creator AzzyLand accused her of copying her content and “stealing her life.” SSSniperWolf is a prominent YouTuber, boasting over 34 million subscribers on her channel, which she first started back in 2013. Over the years, SSSniperWolf has come under scrutiny due to the nature of her content, which largely centers around reacting to viral videos or other creators’ uploads on various platforms like Twitter/X, TikTok, and YouTube. The criticism surrounding SSSniperWolf escalated when fellow YouTuber JacksFilms began mocking her on a separate channel back in 2022. Their feud exploded when SSSniperWolf posted a photo outside of his home in 2023, effectively doxxing him and leading to major backlash against the reaction-tuber. Since then, SSSniperWolf’s channel has been temporarily demonetized, and she issued an apology to JacksFilms due to the incident… but it wasn’t long before more drama caught up with her. In a collaborative video with creator Nerd City following the JacksFilms backlash, YouTuber Azzyland accused SSSniperWolf of ripping off her content and even recreating her thumbnails over the years, saying the controversial creator “stole my life.” SSSniperWolf hits back at AzzyLand’s copycat accusations In the video, Azzyland also claimed that SSSniperWolf had imitated her mannerisms, saying that the YouTuber had mobilized her fanbase to harass her after calling her a “copycat.” Now, SSSniperWolf is responding to the situation. In a post on Twitter/X, the YouTuber hit back at AzzyLand, saying that it was Azzy who had actually copied her — not the other way around. “I have a backup of videos and screenshots before she changed the thumbnails to make it look like I copied her,” she wrote. “I have proof she copied my thumbnails, SEO, the way I speak, the jokes I make. The way you’re trying to manipulate this is fraud.” She followed up with another post providing screenshots of a video with the exact same title — but SSSniperWolf’s had been uploaded 12 minutes prior to that of AzzyLand’s. I have screenshots of you uploading the same video as me MINUTES after I upload multiple on occasions pic.twitter.com/REsfLoVWBn — Lia (@sssniperwolf) November 10, 2023 “I have screenshots of you uploading the same video as me MINUTES after I upload multiple on occasions,” she wrote. “People think I am an easy target, I HATE drama, but y’all constantly drag me into it.” In another post, SSSniperWolf shared even more screenshots, saying, “The fact that you can just go on a video and LIE about everything is insane to me.” The fact that you can just go on a video and LIE about everything is insane to me. pic.twitter.com/Vgfwdqm4Sf — Lia (@sssniperwolf) November 10, 2023 Thus far, AzzyLand has yet to respond to SSSniperWolf’s tweets — but we’ll keep you updated right here on Dexerto if she does.

  • SSSniperWolf confirms breakup with Evan Sausage following cheating rumors – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf confirms breakup with Evan Sausage following cheating rumors YouTube: SSSniperWolfPopular YouTuber Lia ‘SSSniperWolf’ Shelesh has publicly addressed her relationship with long-time partner Evan Sausage for the first time since cheating and break-up rumors spread in 2022. She confirmed that they are no longer together after 9 years as a couple. SSSniperWolf began dating Sausage in 2014, and they began uploading videos together on his channel as well as her own. The pair were a duo from then on, but also the subject of countless memes, as fans and critics alike would suggest Sausage was punching above his weight with Shelesh. Never acknowledging these jabs (until now), SSSniperWolf and Sausage rarely discussed their relationship, but never attempted to hide it either. In October 2022, a number of viral tweets claimed Sausage had cheated on Lia, but again, neither addressed it. Did SSSniperWolf and Evan Sausage split? Sausage hasn’t been active on YouTube or social media since 2020, so there was never a response from him regarding the cheating allegations. Neither did SSSniperWolf respond to the claims, despite their viral spread. However, on June 6, 2023, SSSniperWolf responded to a tweet that said “I still don’t know how he pulled her], with a picture of the couple. “Well after 9 years things didn’t work out lol,” Shelesh said. It’s unclear exactly when the split happened, although they did previously split in 2016 before getting back together. In a video in 2016, SSSniperWolf explained, “We are not together right now, we broke up, he broke up with me.” But, the pair were still living together and he continued to help her record videos. Fans were skeptical at the time however, as she had previously uploaded videos titled ‘WE BROKE UP’ and ‘WE GOT BACK TOGETHER’, leading some to believe it was for video views. This time, however, given Sausage’s total absence from her videos and no upload addressing their relationship, it appears they have finally split for good. Liverpool-born, SSSniperWolf labels herself a Turkish YouTuber, and she continues to enjoy success on the platform. With over 33 million subscribers, she uploads daily, with videos regularly earning over 1 million views. She made her name as a Call of Duty YouTuber, but now primarily does reaction content and challenge videos.

  • SSSniperwolf hits back at accusations of stealing YouTube video ideas – Dexerto

SSSniperwolf hits back at accusations of stealing YouTube video ideas YouTube: SSSniperwolfSSSniperwolf has hit back at accusations that she copies YouTube videos after getting into a war of words with Jackfilms on social media. YouTubers have always been ‘inspired’ by other creators’ content, especially if it proves to be popular and an easy-to-replica format. It’s something that MrBeast, YouTube’s biggest star, has touched on a few times recently. He’s grown annoyed at the “brutal” copycats who follow his videos, but he also understands why they do it, especially because of the money they can bring in. He’s urged creators to find their own lane with a bit more creativity anyway. Though, he’s not the only one engaged in a war of words with YouTubers for copying content. SSSniperwolf and Jackfilms have been beefing over that, with the former CoD creator biting back at claims she’s been copying. SSSniperwolf and Jackfilms clash over ‘copying’ YouTube videos Things kicked off between the pair on June 23, when JackFilms made reference to her answer at VidCon about getting video ideas from fans as he posted that alongside a screenshot of her reaction content. Well, Sniperwolf clapped back a few days later. “I’m going to have to start charging u 20% since you get your ideas from me,” she tweeted on June 28 before responding to some viewers. “90% of what I upload are my ideas, people copy me and then people like you get confused.” Jack responded to that a few hours later, saying: “I invented reacting to other people’s TikToks; anyone else is copying me. Incredible mental gymnastics.” Naturally, that drew a quick response from her. “Wahhh I can’t stand that a female YouTuber is getting more views than me even tho I make the same content grrrr life is hard!!!! “For context, jackfilms made another channel where he copied my content for a few months thinking it would blow up and get millions of views. it didn’t. now he is mad.” The pair didn’t stop there, with Sniperwolf taking a personal jab at Jack. about his hairline Though, that was deleted shortly after. Jack even used his main channel to make a satirical video reading out the tweets that had been exchanged. So, it doesn’t seem like the beef is going away anytime soon.

  • SSSniperWolf shows what a YouTube career can buy with insane new house tour – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf shows what a YouTube career can buy with insane new house tour Instagram: SSSniperWolfControversial YouTuber Lia ‘SSSniperwolf’ Shelesh has shown her audience how good she is living with an incredible tour of her new Los Angeles home. SniperWolf is a divisive figure among the online community, raking in millions of views with every video she uploads, but receiving huge amounts of hate after often being accused of faking the gameplay she uploads to her channel. While she may be unpopular in some corners of the web, SSSniperWolf has clearly found incredible success on YouTube, and has shown off what her loyal audience has helped her purchase in the form of her new, crazy L.A. pad. 650The tour kicks off with a look at SniperWolf’s front door, a massive glass panel that swings on a hinge found in the middle of the door, which Lia claims is “the same as Kylie Jenner’s.” The interior of the all-white home is mindblowing, with glass walls and massive rooms leading you down a hallway that eventually opens into the 26-year-olds open plan living area, complete with a massive television set, a huge sofa, and easy access to the luxurious kitchenette complete with a massive fridge stocked full of drinks. Sniper Wolf’s office follows a similar design aesthetic, with a massive glass door that leads into an all-white room. Her setup sits in a corner surrounded by audio foam, which Lia says is essential as the glass door makes it difficult to sound, with shelves across the back wall holding personal items and her gold YouTube plaque. Not only that, SSSniperWolf’s house comes with an air-conditioned wine cellar, a gigantic master bathroom which includes his and hers sinks and toilets, and a bedroom that overlooks their incredible backyard. Outside, the property plays host to a heated infinity pool and a hot tub, with views down the hillside and across the city, and also features an outside bar and a built-in BBQ. SSSniperWolf chose not to reveal how much she spent on acquiring the property, but watching the tour of her brand new home makes it clear that she spent a pretty penny on her insane new home.

  • SSSniperWolf and JacksFilms drama explained: Doxxing, demonetization & apology – Dexerto

SSSniperWolf and JacksFilms drama explained: Doxxing, demonetization & apology YouTube: JacksFilms, SSSniperWolfThe feud between YouTube stars SSSniperWolf and JacksFilms has taken over the internet. Here’s everything you need to know about the situation. SSSniperWolf is a prominent YouTuber who primarily makes reaction videos, in which she reacts to other peoples’ content taken from platforms like YouTube and TikTok. Fellow YouTuber JacksFilms has famously taken issue with her style of content, accusing her of stealing other creators’ hard work — a debate that was also sparked earlier this year surrounding ‘reaction-style’ content in relation to streamers like xQc. In fact, JacksFilms created a secondary channel in 2022, where he uploaded videos specifically poking fun at SSSniperWolf. Over the last two months, JacksFilms posted 40 videos reacting and commenting on SSSniperWolf’s videos. Their feud escalated in the summer of 2023, when SSSniperWolf hit back at JacksFilms in a series of heated tweets, arguing that Jack “can’t stand that a female YouTuber is getting more views” than her. However, things took a drastic turn when she doxxed JacksFilms’ house in an Instagram story, seemingly in response to his constant videos about her. SssniperWolf shows up at JacksFilms’ house On October 14, SSSniperWolf posted a poll to her Instagram stories asking her fans whether or not she should go to JacksFilms home, since he lived close to a location where she was filming. However, even though the official results of the poll were not revealed, SSSniperWolf still showed up at his home. After the poll went up, a story appeared on SSSniperWolf’s Instagram that included an image of JacksFilms’ home. The caption on the story read, “Let’s talk like adults @jacksfilms,” and showed a partially-obscured look at the outside of the YouTuber’s house. However, SSSniperWolf appeared to take down the photo after posting it, but not before users grabbed screenshots of the post. JacksFilms immediately called out SSSniperWolf on Twitter/X, saying, “You showed up to our home tonight and filmed it for your 5M+ IG followers to see. That’s called doxxing.” Fans in the comments were sympathetic, and some even suggested this action could warrant criminal investigation. When faced with backlash over doxxing JacksFilms, SSSniperWolf quickly defended herself by showing the 40 videos he had posted about her over the past two months. She hit back at JacksFilms in another Instagram stories post, writing, “This is obsessive behavior??? Is this really the only way you can get views on YouTube??? Don’t you have a WIFE??” JacksFilms demands YouTube take action against SSSniperWolf Not long afterward, JacksFilms took to Twitter to publicly demand that YouTube take action against SSSniperWolf for doxxing him, asking that the platform demonetize her content or even remove her account altogether. “SssniperWolf just doxxed me on her IG,” said JacksFilms. “Creepy, gross, violating. What you do is disgusting. You steal content AND stalk YouTubers. YouTube, demonetize this dangerous ‘creator’ or just get her off your platform. She posted an IG story right outside our home and deleted it.” Other YouTubers, such as OTK founder Asmongold, supported JacksFilms’ goal of getting SSSniperWolf demonetized. “SSSniperWolf situation is unacceptable,” said Asmongold. “Anyone who uses their platform to doxx and put a person’s family in physical danger deserves to be deplatformed. This is an unironic line in the sand and one that should never be crossed.” YouTube comes under fire for inaction over SSSniperWolf situation During the following days, many viewers took issue with YouTube for remaining silent about the ordeal. The platform even came under fire for posting what was labeled a “tone deaf” tweet in the midst of the drama, which read: “Would it be too meta to do a reaction video to a reaction video?” In fact, many big names on the platform feared that YouTube would do nothing to punish SSSniperWolf over her actions. MoistCr1tikal notably claimed that YouTube would exhibit “favoritism” toward her and was “under the assumption that they’re not going to do anything about it.” YouTube “temporarily” demonetizes SSSniperWolf’s channel On October 20, Team YouTube’s official Twitter account finally made an official response to the situation, saying SSSniperWolf had been “temporarily” demonetized as a result of her actions off the platform. Confirming SSSniperWolf has received a temporary monetization suspension per Creator Responsibility policies. Hoping everyone helps move this… — TeamYouTube (@TeamYouTube) October 20, 2023 “Confirming SSSniperWolf has received a temporary monetization suspension per Creator Responsibility policies,” Team YouTube wrote on X. “Off-platform actions that put others’ personal safety at risk harm our community & the behavior on both sides isn’t what we want on YT. Hoping everyone helps move this convo to a better place.” SSSniperWolf apologizes to JacksFilms after demonetization Following SSSniperWolf’s temporary demonetization, she issued an official apology for her actions, saying her behavior was “inexcusable” and apologizing to her fans for “not being a better example for appropriate conflict resolution.” The sincerity of her apology has been called into question by critics, as it came on the same day that YouTube released their own statement. “So ChatGPT is sorry, what about you Lia,” asked one Twitter user. “Looks like your PR manager just secured their Christmas bonus,” said another user on Twitter. This is the latest update in the SSSniperwolf and JacksFilms’ drama, as both YouTube and SSSniperWolf have responded to the situation and are looking to move forward. We’ll make sure to keep you updated in the case of any further developments right here on Dexerto.

  • Squid Game’s “Red Light, Green Light” challenge recreated on Fortnite’s Unreal Engine – Dexerto

Squid Game’s “Red Light, Green Light” challenge recreated on Fortnite’s Unreal Engine Netflix / Epic GamesA fan of Netflix’s Squid Game has brought the series to (virtual) life using the Unreal Engine, popularly used to create titles like Fortnite, and basically perfected the infamous “Red Light, Green Light” challenge. If you haven’t watched Squid Game and intend to, then you should probably stop reading. But, if you’ve watched the hit show or don’t care about spoilers, then this should be right up your alley. A series about kids’ games for big money, Squid Game sounds fun but is too dangerous for the real world. Still, for those who might want to try the challenges out, Reddit’s ‘saas_dev’ has come up with a solution. Using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, saas recreated the first game, “Red Light, Green Light,” with surprising precision. They showed their work off in a video on Reddit and people are already impressed. Squid Game recreated in Unreal Engine As you can see in the clip, the only thing missing is Squid Game’s uniforms. Otherwise, everything else is just about perfect — from the environment and creepy doll to the song and bloodshed. And people were shocked by how accurate the recreation was. In the comments, users dropped compliments like “amazing, “fantastic,” and “so awesome.” Of course, this isn’t the first virtual version of Netflix’s Korean series and it is unlikely to be the last. But, unlike people bringing challenges to Overwatch and Call of Duty: Warzone, this one is fully customized from the ground up. There’s also talk of people doing Squid Game in the real world, like Bryce Hall and MrBeast. But if you want the full, bloodthirsty experience — then saas is probably the closest you’ll get. (Especially if he listens to feedback and brings this to VR.)

  • Squishmallow owners sue Build-a-Bear over look-a-like Skoosherz – Dexerto

Squishmallow owners sue Build-a-Bear over look-a-like Skoosherz The Warren Buffet-owned Jazwares is suing rival Build-a-Bear over its Skoosherz line, which it claims are “knock offs”. Build-a-Bear is currently under fire from Jazwares, with the two companies suing each other over toys. Jazwares, which is owned by billionaire Warren Buffet’s company, Berkshire Hathaway, is suing Build-a-Bear due to the look of its Shoosherz range. In a report from The Guardian, in the suit, Jazwares has outright called Build-a-Bear’s Skoosherz “knock offs”. The company is claiming that the Skoosherz looks far too similar to the Squishmallow “simplified Asian-style kawaii faces”. Countering this, Build-a-Bear is suing Jazwares to get a court to determine that the company has not infringed on the company’s rights. Skoosherz launched in January, with the company bringing some familiar choices in animals to the table. As of right now, you can buy a pink axolotl, something that Squishmallow fans will recognize instantly. Jazware’s Squishmallow lawsuit highlights community reaction to Skoosherz In the initial documents, Jazwares compares the stuffed toys and highlights an Instagram exchange. A user commented: “SQUISHMALLOWS???” To which the Build-a-Bear Instagram account responded with: “*skoosherz” Further in the document, Jazwares highlights other comments made by consumers, including “like a worse Squishmallow”. Other comments highlighted also said “C’mon plagiarism.” A Reddit thread was also screenshotted, with one user stating: “I’m sorry but I really can’t see the appeal. “Like I collect both Squishmallows and bab but these designs are just lazy and look like cheap Squishmallow.” Squishmallows was launched in 2017, which Jazwares acquired in 2020. The company has been overly protective of its brand since being acquired, as Alibaba is currently being sued over fakes. The toy line made up 40% of Jazware’s sales in 2021, with a few limited editions now going for thousands online. Recently, Squishmallows were the free toy in McDonald’s Happy Meals across the US and UK. Build-a-Bear has clearly seen where the money is at. However, Jazwares claims that the “velvety velour-like” stuffed toys are fringing on their rights.

Squid Game’s HoYeon Jung Vogue interview meme has the internet fooled NetflixSquid Game continues to thrive at the top of Netflix, and now a meme format from actress HoYeon Jung, who plays Sae-Byeok in the show, has taken over the internet leaving some social media users completely baffled. After being released in mid-September, Squid Game became an overnight sensation. In the show, 456 contestants are tasked with winning popular children’s games, but if they fail they’re killed. The Netflix show took a lot of viewers back to their childhood, reminding them of games they used to play – a massive contributor to Squid Game’s success. As the inescapable talk about the show continues across the internet, a new meme format has emerged. Pranksters took inspiration from HoYeon’s interview with Vogue, and created fake quotes that had some believe she’s a fan of Riot Games’ popular FPS game Valorant, as well as various Twitch streamers. Fans of the show took snippets of quotes from an interview with HoYeon and changed them. The altered versions of the quotes immediately began going viral across social media, as users were completely oblivious that they weren’t real. The fake quotes had the gaming community believe that the Korean actress was a fan of their favorite games and creators. The meme spread like wildfire, and HoYeon was supposedly obsessed with Sonic Adventure 2 to kick things off.
