Sodapoppin reveals why he’s been absent from streaming YouTube: SodapoppinTwitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has been noticeably absent from streaming at the start of May, leaving some fans concerned, and has now explained it’s a problem of motivation. Streaming since 2012, Sodapoppin is an esteemed Twitch veteran. Not to mention, with 8.8 million followers on the Amazon-owned platform, he’s also one of the website’s most famous faces. However, there have been some turbulent times for the streamer recently. Back in April, he was hit with a surprise ban for “blackfacing” comments. Although he stated that the suspension was “deserved”, it also caused stress for him and his family. Understandably, fans were concerned for Soda after his livestreams started to become few and far between – streaming only once in the past 7 days. Yet, he explained that the reason is that he simply doesn’t “want to.” Sodapoppin hasn’t “felt” like streaming On April 9, Sodapoppin responded to fans’ concerns over his disappearance. However, the 28-year-old claimed that a lack of motivation to stream has been the cause for his absence. “Sorry haven’t streamed lately,” Soda said. “I just haven’t felt like it and I don’t force myself to do it. Might be live [tomorrow], might not.” He also explained that his comment was prompted by concerns over his wellbeing: “Just tweeting this cause people keep asking me if something is up and nah I just don’t wanna [stream] lol nothin’ else.” Sorry haven’t streamed lately I just haven’t felt like it and I don’t force myself to do it. Might be live tmrw might not be not sure /shrug just tweeting this cause people keep asking me if something is up and nah I just don’t wanna lol nothin else. — ChanceMorris (@Sodapoppintv) May 9, 2022 Fans responded by sharing their support for Soda and praised him for giving himself the time to take “a break” – something many streamers are hesitant to do. One fan said Soda “deserved” the time away and chided him for apologizing: “You deserve the rest when you need it mentally because you earn it so don’t be sorry.” Idk why you must be sorry for resting when you provided good content for many years being a dedicated streamer, you deserve the rest when you need it mentally because you earn it so don’t be sorry. — Kiara 😸 (@kiaraakitty) May 10, 2022 Soda may not be streaming on Twitch as regularly as normal, but he has continued to create content for YouTube. For example, on May 9 he released a nearly two-hour-long video in which played the story-based game The Stanley Parable. Soda has been open in the past about his struggles to meet demand, even leading to a serious Adderall addiction. So, it will no doubt be a relief to fans that he is taken some time away from the camera.

Sodapoppin reveals biggest concern about OfflineTV Rust server return – Dexerto
Sodapoppin reveals biggest concern about OfflineTV Rust server return Twitch: Sodapoppin/Facepunch StudiosStreaming star Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has revealed his concern with OfflineTV’s Rust server making its return, suggesting that long-time Rust players shouldn’t be involved like last time. Earlier this year, OfflineTV started up a Rust server that became so popular that they had to split it up between those who wanted to roleplay and those who wanted to just straight fight it out. The server had hilarious moments and plenty of drama, but it wasn’t long before everyone moved on to other games – with GTA RP basically replacing Rust for a lot of the streamers involved. With the calendar turning over to July, the server is set to make its return, with a few changes, but Sodapoppin – who played on the last iteration – has a few worries about it. Speaking during his July 1 stream, the longtime Twitch streamer said that the admins shouldn’t involve “20 viewer andys” who play Rust pretty much full-time as that takes away some of the fun. “I have a worry about the Rust server. I’m not going to sugarcoat it, no one cares about 20 viewer andys who are really good at Rust,” Soda said. “And, I’m worried it’s going to be infected with like a bunch of 20 viewer andys who are really good at Rust.” Chance added that it’s not “fun” to see someone like Pokimane get taken out by someone who knows what they’re doing, but if it’s a fellow streamer like xQc doing it, it has the potential to be “hilarious, awesome content.” The variety streamer noted if too many Rust-centric players, it becomes pretty much like a public server, and that might people not want to play – including himself. It’s a similar concern to what Sykkuno flagged when the server was first rumored to return. He said it’s no fun just having PVP shootouts and that would probably keep him from playing all that much. However, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens when the server finally goes live again on July 5.

Sodapoppin reveals how he kept OTK announcement a secret – Dexerto
Sodapoppin reveals how he kept OTK announcement a secret Twitch: MizkifPopular Twitch streamer Sodapoppin is now a member of OTK along with Mizkif, Asmongold, and more. Shortly after the announcement, he shared how he managed to keep it a secret. Created in 2020 by Twitch streamers Mizkif, Asmongold, Rich Cambell, and more, One True King has quickly become one of the most popular orgs on the platform. During a July 21 ghost hunting stream, it was revealed that Sodapoppin has joined the organization as co-owner after a series of in-character murders where he played the character Ghostface. Before his reveal, viewers in chat were convinced it was somebody else — and Sodapoppin has explained how he managed to keep it a secret. OTK Sodapoppin reveals how he kept it a secret After the video ended, the broadcast went back to the group’s live stream where they talked about Sodapoppin joining the org some more. “We’ve kind of had to keep it a secret from you guys for a while now,” Mizkif explained. “Wait a minute, is Russel still live? Sodapoppin answered, revealing how he managed to keep it a secret: “Oh yeah, so that was another thing we did. I told Russel to go stream on my computer on my alt account… it wasn’t me for the past like five hours.” Shortly after Soda revealed that Russel was the one streaming on his alt account ‘Skippypoppin,’ he turned the camera on and revealed it was in fact him that had been streaming for the last five hours. With Sodapoppin as an official co-owner of OTK, they have further secured their place as the top org on Twitch, with Sodapoppin and Asmongold being two of the most popular creators on the platform. It’s unknown what they have up their sleeve next, so we’ll have to wait to see what happens.

Sodapoppin plans to DMCA streamers reacting to his WoW raids who aren’t in his guild – Dexerto
Sodapoppin plans to DMCA streamers reacting to his WoW raids who aren’t in his guild BlizzardTwitch streamer Sodapoppin is planning to DMCA other streamers reacting to his WoW raids that aren’t a part of his guild. Interest in WoW, especially in the streaming world, has recently been making a resurgence once again as some of Twitch’s biggest streamers come together as Guilds to go on raids. Hype for the game has been building in part to the announcement of three new expansions as part of the Worldsoul Saga, or because of Echo Esports’ Worlds First victory over Mythic Fyrakk. And as streamer Guilds go on their raids, it seems a few want to keep reactions to them in-house, as Sodapoppin revealed he won’t allow other streamers outside of his guild to watch them. “The only people who’s going to be allowed to react to the raid – I will absolutely DMCA if I can at least when it’s live – is people who are in the raid. Or in the guild,” Soda said of his guild’s plan. “So if you want to watch someone reacting to the raid, you have to watch someone who’s in the guild. Other people will not be allowed to do that.” Sodapoppin’s guild, “OnlyFangs”, is planning an upcoming raid in World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore. However, his guild has left other big streamers behind like Asmonhold and xQc without a guild. Soda had already warned fans about other streamers not being able to react to OnlyFangs’ upcoming raid, forbidding non-Guild members from doing so. It’s quite clear Soda is treating OnlyFangs as a legitimate Guild, as Asmon said in his reaction to getting rejected from the raid, “Soda takes his s*** very seriously.”

Sodapoppin reacts to ultra-cringy old video of himself discussing women – Dexerto
Sodapoppin reacts to ultra-cringy old video of himself discussing women One of the great things about YouTube and the digital age is that you can relive moments with a sweet tint of nostalgia. But this isn’t always a good idea, as Twitch streamer Sodapoppin found out when he watched an embarrassing old video live on stream. Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has been creating content for the better part of a decade; his first YouTube upload came seven years ago, with videos on World of Warcraft and some real-life stuff thrown into the mix. In a livestream on November 3, Sodapoppin allowed viewers to request YouTube videos with donations, which could go wrong for a number of reasons – but Sodapoppin probably didn’t expect to be embarrassed by his own content. In a video that is evidently from several years ago, Sodapoppin is answering the question of hair color he prefers in a woman – redhead, blonde, brunette, or black. He then went into a bit too much detail when discussing his preference. “Let’s assume that these girls are all beyond perfect, they just have different hair color,” the video starts. “If I had to pick one to date, probably brunette,” before saying that he wasn’t interested in blondes because they were “too stupid.” As the video played out, current-day Sodapoppin was literally holding his head in his hands, unable to even look at this video of himself from only a few years ago. If Sodapoppin thought that was the end of the embarrassment he was very wrong, as old-Soda continued: “Redheads, if they’re not ginger and they’re redheads… Yeah… and they have great feet.” He then turned to his friend off-camera and advised him to “get some feet pics” before sharing that his phone background was of a pair of feet. Of course, embarrassing old videos weren’t the only thing Sodapoppin had to deal with during the stream, with yet another awkward moment occurring thanks to the YouTube requests. One viewer donated a huge $50 to play a video – an English-dubbed anime clip – but the video was not available on copyright grounds, meaning nobody even got to watch it. After the clip finished, Sodapoppin just laughed and said “Whatever,” before telling his chat that “I don’t care what y’all think.” He was clearly embarrassed by the old video, as he swiftly moved on without really addressing it and tried to pretend it hadn’t happened. But the Internet never forgets, and he might struggle to live this one down.

Sodapoppin mocks VTuber tag misuse on Twitch after fury sparks online – Dexerto
Sodapoppin mocks VTuber tag misuse on Twitch after fury sparks online YouTube: SodapoppinStreamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has added some fuel to the fire after appearing to mock the Vtuber tag dispute which has gripped the streaming community. It comes after some content creators were criticized for misusing the Vtuber tag on their streams. A heated dispute sparked online after fans called out several high-profile streamers, including Amouranth and xQc, for using the Vtuber tag on their streams, even though they aren’t Vtubers. Although this may seem like a fairly harmless way to boost numbers for some, Vtubers have heavily criticized streamers who misuse the tag as it pushes them further down the rankings. As a result, real Vtubers could lose out on views and potential subs. Now, Sodapoppin has added his view to the debate in a tweet and, while it may have seemed as if he was on the side of Vtubers, others suspect he was actually mocking the drama. Sodapoppin responds to Vtuber tag drama As the debate continues to heat up on social media, a number of streamers, some of which have been called out for exploiting the tag, have shared their view on the dispute. In a tweet posted on April 19, Sodapoppin said: “Omg guys, don’t use the Vtuber tag under your channel if you’re not a Vtuber! Have some common sense for real guys! It’s hard enough to make it as a streamer without you guys holding all these talented Vtubers back!” Although it appeared as though Soda was showing support for Vtubers, some fans smelt a whiff of sarcasm in the tweet and accused the streamer of mocking the issue. Omg guys dont use the vtuber tag under ur channel if ur not a vtuber! Have some common sense for real guys! It’s hard enough to make it as a streamer without u guys holding all these talented vtubers back! — ChanceMorris (@Sodapoppintv) April 19, 2022 Although it’s not entirely clear whether Soda’s tweet was sarcastic, it nonetheless sparked another dispute about the topic in the comments with fans from both sides of the argument sharing their opinion. For example, Twitter user ‘Plantinspector1’ argued: “If people want to use the VTuber tag, let them! At the end of the day, it’s up to them.” Hey, no need to get mad! Everyone’s just trying to find their niche and grow their channel. If people want to use the VTuber tag, let them! At the end of the day, it’s up to the — Plant Inspector (@plantinspector1) April 19, 2022 However, Vtuber ‘graveygirl24’ fired back saying that the biggest streamers “don’t need to use those tags since they are not Vtubers. It is a niche, but you have to fit in that niche to utilize it.” No. I do vutubing and ppl like mizkief(or whatever) and xqc are using it. They are two of the biggest streamers and don’t need to use those tags since they are not vtubers. It is a niche BUT you have to fit in that niche to utilize it — Grace (@graveygirl24) April 20, 2022 Read More: Slicker Banned From Twitch – With Soda still being banned from Twitch, as of writing, we probably won’t know for sure about his take on the Vtuber tag until he returns. Then again, this hasn’t stopped the debate from continuing to heat up on social media; especially after xQc responded to the accusations made against him.

Sodapoppin makes troll apology after getting banned on Twitch – Dexerto
Sodapoppin makes troll apology after getting banned on Twitch YouTube: Sodapoppin[jwplayer Y7PB7YwV] Update (July 21): Roughly 24 hours after his surprise ban from Twitch, Sodapoppin has been reinstated on the platform. Following a sarcastic apology video from the mega-popular streamer, the Amazon-owned platform reversed its decision on July 21. The original story is as follows. Popular Twitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has been handed a suspension from the streaming platform, however, the reason behind the ban is unclear. As Twitch OGs go, Sodapoppin is one of the biggest. The popular variety streamer has been streaming since 2012, amassing over 2.7 million followers in that time thanks to his entertaining and unique content. He can usually be found dominating a game’s section all by his own given that he has a tendency to play titles that not every streamer wants to try out. Yet, those game will have to wait a little bit as his Twitch channel received a temporary suspension on July 20. Though, instead of being disheartened by it, Sodapoppin decided to have a little fun with the ban. As his fans quickly speculated about his ban, noting that it probably came from his recent VR Chat stream given that he was streaming with roflgator, who also received a ban – Chance responded on Twitter. “Haha I know why I was banned and u don’t :)” he tweeted, before following it up with a jokey apology video. In his video, the streamer apologized to his family, friends, and viewers for the misstep. He also joked that, given he’s been in lockdown for a few months, he was desperate for “female attention” and had to go into VRChat. Yet, things seemingly got a bit out of hand and Twitch might not have taken too kindly to the content – even though Soda added that he and Twitch love each other. However, the streaming platform rarely comments publicly on bans, so it’s unlikely that they’ll change course here and back up any of what Sodapoppin said. Chance hasn’t been permanently banned either, so, his channel will more than likely be back dominating the charts within a day or so. It shouldn’t take all that long before he’s back on fans’ screens.

Sodapoppin mocks Twitch’s boost feature: “No one cares about small streamers” – Dexerto
Sodapoppin mocks Twitch’s boost feature: “No one cares about small streamers” Twitch: SodapoppinTwitch has come under fire after unveiling a new test the platform is running, allowing viewers to ‘boost’ channels by paying. Sodapoppin, one of Twitch’s biggest stars, has mocked the controversial initiative, joking that ‘no one cares about small streamers.’ The initiative is a new way to use Twitch’s Boost feature, allowing viewers to pay to recommend a streamer to others. The more that is paid, the more recommendations are sent out. The feature was widely criticized by streamers, both big and small, with some labeling it ‘pay-to-win’ and suggesting Twitch was essentially “selling viewbots.” xQc called the idea one of the worst ever, while others said it was exploitative. Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris, who has over 3 million followers on Twitch and has been streaming there for over a decade, made light of the situation while poking fun at Twitch’s intentions to ‘boost’ smaller streamers. Read More: Top 10 most viewed Warzone Twitch streamers – “No one cares about the small streamers that’s why they get no views,” Morris jibed. “I’m gonna be boosting my channel like crazy to stay ahead. Stay small and get f*kt nerds.” No one cares about the small streamers that’s why they get no views. I’m gonna be boosting my channel like crazy to stay ahead. Stay small and get fukt nerds. — ChanceMorris (@Sodapoppintv) October 1, 2021 Although obviously joking, Soda sums up the Twitch community’s general disapproval of the new options for Boost. Read More: Sykkuno announces surprise Twitch subathon – Twitch, in their patch notes stream, said that the decision to implement the feature was based on feedback and that it would be starting out as a “small experiment”, with only a select group of creators. But, given the latest round of feedback has been overwhelmingly negative, it remains to be seen if Twitch will follow through with this plan and roll the feature out more widely.

Sodapoppin loses it as Pokimane & OfflineTV surprise him with a 62k Twitch raid – Dexerto
Sodapoppin loses it as Pokimane & OfflineTV surprise him with a 62k Twitch raid Twitch: Sodapoppin/PokimaneAfter receiving a 62k Twitch Raid from Pokimane during his World of Warcraft stream, Sodapoppin proceeded to jokingly roast her and asked if she would host “someone else”. For the majority of streamers on the platform, a huge raid from Pokimane would be a dream come true. With 7.8 million followers, she’s no doubt one of the most recognizable faces on Twitch. Despite this, not everyone’s appreciative of a host from Pokimane, especially if the content they’re streaming at the time does not align with the interests of her audience. Well, Sodapoppin was certainly not impressed with Pokimane’s decision to host him while he was playing World of Warcraft. Instead of thanking the OfflineTV member, he decided to roast her and her chat for coming over to his stream. Sodapoppin roasts Pokimane over Twitch raid During his World of Warcraft stream on May 17, Pokimane decided to raid Sodapoppin with over 62 thousand people. Despite the huge influx of viewers, Soda made it very clear he wasn’t happy and decided to jokingly roast Pokimane and the other OfflineTV members. It was obvious he was a little confused as to why she would send over her audience to watch WoW content, especially when you have to play the game to understand what’s going on. “Why? Oh, I’m actually so mad, I’m playing World of Warcraft…. they probably just hosted and they’re probably off doing something in their dumb house, please un host and host someone else.” Although it’s obvious Soda didn’t want the extra 60 thousand viewers watching him play WoW, it’s clear he found the whole situation incredibly funny and wasn’t being serious. He even made a few Among Us jokes, hoping to get the attention of the new type of viewer that had just arrived on his channel. “You guys want to play Among Us? I love Among Us, I don’t if you guys know, I made Among Us.” There’s no denying that Pokimane’s raid certainly spiced up Soda’s WoW stream and gave his viewers some entertaining content. Let’s hope she decides to host him again in the future while he’s playing WoW so we can see even more hilarious reactions.

Sodapoppin loses it over xQc’s hilarious reaction during Mogul Money Live – Dexerto
Sodapoppin loses it over xQc’s hilarious reaction during Mogul Money Live YouTube: LudwigTwitch star Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris couldn’t hold in his laughter after noticing xQc in the audience of Ludwig’s Mogul Money Live event that took place over the weekend. YouTube star Ludwig Ahgren is making waves online thanks to his very own streamer game show called ‘Mogul Money.’ The show is very much like Jeopardy, but instead of pitting random trivia enthusiasts against each other, Ludwig reels in his fellow broadcasters for a hilarious streamer-versus-streamer showdown. His most recent Mogul Money show was a live event with a massive in-person audience that included a few other streaming stars — namely, Sodapoppin and former Overwatch pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. Sodapoppin was going over footage of the live event with his fans when he remembered a specific instance that happened when a guest was brought on stage. Mizkif had asked for help from a member of the audience to answer the prompt: “YouTuber MrBeast has earned billions of views on this online video hosting site.” At first, Sodapoppin joked with his fellow contestants that the answer was ‘Stake,’ an online gambling site that sponsors streamers. xQc is one such streamer who is known for his popular broadcasts playing slots. However, Mizkif wasn’t sure of the answer and brought up a member from the audience to answer for him — and she jokingly answered ‘Stake.’ A few members of the crowd went wild at her wrong answer, including xQc, who was throwing his arms up in celebration of Mizkif’s loss (and also likely poking fun at himself, in the process). Sodapoppin couldn’t help but burst out laughing at his reaction. “Look at xQc!” he chortled. “I love it.” “Theres something like — when something is truly dumb, and they don’t even know they’re on camera, and they just do something subtle — it just makes it so much funnier. At least to me. The fact he’s sitting there cheering.” “He actually came up to me. I didn’t get to talk to Felix that much. But he came up to me and he’s like, ‘Yo man, I gotta give you some money for that shoutout.’ I was drunk, so I was like, ‘What?’ He was like, ‘The Stake thing!’ And I was like aw, I ruined the joke, ’cause I didn’t know what he was talking about.” It’s certainly nice to see streamers laughing with each other, and Ludwig’s Mogul Money provided the perfect opportunity for that. Hopefully his upcoming Beerio Kart World Cup will do the same.

Sodapoppin loses his lunch after charity goal makes him eat a tomato – Dexerto
Sodapoppin loses his lunch after charity goal makes him eat a tomato Twitch: SodapoppinDuring his charity stream, Sodapoppin lost his lunch after his community raised enough money to make him stop his game and eat a raw tomato. One of the most popular things to do on Twitch, especially as you grow as a creator, is to use your platform to raise money for charity. During fundraising streams, it’s common for creators to have things that the community can unlock after raising a set amount of money — and sometimes they’re not the easiest for the streamer to fulfill. Sodapoppin‘s charity stream shows a perfect example of that, as he lost his lunch after being forced to eat a raw tomato in front of thousands of fans. Sodapoppin gets sick off-screen after trying to eat a raw tomato While streaming to raise money for Games For Love, the newly minted OTK co-owner’s list of unlockable goals included having to eat a tomato after raising $10,000. It wasn’t long until that goal was unlocked, and Sodapoppin began eating the raw fruit. He almost immediately began gagging as he took his first bite and ended up going off-camera to let it all go. After returning to his chair, Sodapoppin noticed various people in his chat calling him out for not finishing it entirely. “I don’t care. You know what? Send an angry email to Obama and let him know that I have scammed you and let’s see what he does. I didn’t finish the tomato. Let’s see if anyone reads that email with any level of seriousness,” he jokingly replied. “I didn’t finish the tomato, I can’t.”

Sodapoppin hits out at “cringe” streamers & hints at retirement – Dexerto
Sodapoppin hits out at “cringe” streamers & hints at retirement Twitch star Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris hit out at the streaming grind and streamers ‘min maxing’ for viewers in a now-deleted tweet, also hinting at his forthcoming retirement. As content creation and live streaming has become a viable career path, many would-be streamers and YouTubers have taken the leap of faith and tried their hand at it. You can easily follow the crowd and try to make it big in that pre-defined way, but it has become a quite oversaturated market. So, others find their niche. That might be through having massive production value behind their stream or creating unique content that isn’t just gaming. Some just have that luck of going viral behind them as a launchpad too. Sodapoppin has been around since the xFire days and has, quite frankly, seen it all. He remains a massive name on Twitch and typically keeps himself to himself by staying off other social media platforms. Though, he took to Twitter to hit out at the current streaming grind that streamers follow. Sodapoppin hits out at streamers following current streaming grind In a now-deleted tweet, the OTK co-owner bashed the “cringe” way streamers are going about their content, claiming he very rarely sees someone “genuine” having success these days. “Streaming is just playing video games. Also abusing drugs to stay up to farm viewcount. Also dipping into just chatting to get viewcount back up. Also calling games bad as soon as viewcount goes down so u can get out of that section without saying ur doing it cause viewcount is down cause admitting u care about viewcount hurts viewcount. And a bunch of other stupid s*it I don’t feel like typing,” he posted on August 17. “Caring about viewcount is FINE but the way streaming is SO min maxed is cringe. I see very few genuine streamers let alone streams. Makes me sad. I’m going to bed I’ll tweet again in 3 years announcing my retirement probably. Le sigh” Some fans urged xQc to have a response to the tweet. However, he was less than enthusiastic about giving his take on things. The streaming landscape has become slightly formulaic over the last few years, but that’s because it’s such a hard place to make it big, that the only thing to really do is follow those who have. So, until there’s someone else who breaks through, things are unlikely to change.

Sodapoppin joins OTK as new co-owner – Dexerto
Sodapoppin joins OTK as new co-owner YouTube: OTKOTK continues to grow as the popular organization founded by the likes of Mizkif and Asmongold has now added a new co-owner in fellow Twitch star Sodapoppin. Two years on from its inception, One True King (OTK) has grown once more with the addition of another mega-popular Twitch celeb in Sodapoppin. Rather than joining as a content creator akin to more recent additions like Emiru and BruceDropEmOff, Soda has a bigger role as a new co-owner in the company. Revealed as part of a joint July 21 ghost-hunting broadcast, it was soon revealed that the now ‘OTK Sodapoppin’ was behind a series of in-character murders as he slaughtered the rest of the group while posing as Ghostface. The 28-year-old Twitch personality currently boasts the 10th biggest account on the platform as he nears the nine million follower mark. Best known for his efforts in World of Warcraft and now his variety content, the American is never one to shy away from voicing his opinion or toeing the line with what’s allowed on Twitch. In fact, the OTK announcement comes just weeks after Soda’s latest Twitch ban in light of a controversial ‘blackface’ joke, one that he later apologized for and admitted was met with a “deserved” punishment. It’s unclear just how intricately involved he may be in the day-to-day operations of OTK, but as a new co-owner, there appears to be plenty on his plate. Despite being just two years young, the company is frequently adding new members, crossing over into popular games, and even teaming up with former WoW devs to design one of their own.

Sodapoppin shares hilarious reaction to Andy Milonakis’ brutal first impression of him – Dexerto
Sodapoppin shares hilarious reaction to Andy Milonakis’ brutal first impression of him Sodapoppin, Andy Milonakis – TwitterChance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris is a massively popular Twitch streamer and internet personality, with over two million followers on the livestreaming platform – but internet fame isn’t everything, as evidenced by the brutal first opinion of actor and comedian Andy Milonakis. Milonakis, who has even begun his own streaming career on the site, shared his honest first impressions of Sodapoppin in a clip that was used by theScore Esports for a documentary on Morris – where Milonakis admitted that he wasn’t a big fan of Sodapoppin on the outset. “To me, what I watched of Sodapoppin, he came off as a super pompous, self-important douchebag,” Milonakis said of the streamer. [Timestamp: 12:43 for mobile viewers] As fate would have it, Sodapoppin discovered the video and watched it during his own stream on June 30 – sharing a hilarious reaction to Milonakis’ brutal statement. Morris went open-mouthed after hearing his assessment, as though stunned into humored shock that Milonakis would have held such a negative opinion of him, even pausing the video to process the statement. “Ouch,” Morris said, going on to give a good-humored laugh at the situation before moving on with the rest of the video. Milonakis later took to Reddit to explain his statement on the matter, claiming that he had been drunk when the chat asked him about Sodapoppin and even apologized to the streamer. “I really like Soda,” he admitted. “That clip was from about 2 1/2 years ago when I started to do Twitch full time. I was drunk, and I don’t know if chat was asking me what I thought about certain streamers, or if i was just doing a stupid drunken rant, but either way, it was an asshole move on my part. Sorry Soda popper.” called him a “fucktard” during a heated spiel toward a curious fan. “…Are you in my chat asking about that fucktard?” she snapped, after a viewer asked if she was still on good terms with the streamer. “Like, I’m going to be honest, what the fuck is wrong with you?” 600https://www.instagram.com/p/BwaIk4NF-Nl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_linkDespite these assessments, Sodapoppin continues to boast a dedicated audience, and has spoken out at length against toxicity on Twitch during his time on the website.

Sodapoppin hilariously fails ad read during The Game Awards sponsored stream – Dexerto
Sodapoppin hilariously fails ad read during The Game Awards sponsored stream Twitch: SodapoppinTwitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris was given the opportunity to co-stream The Game Awards on his own channel, sponsored by Bacardi, but when it came time to perform one of the crucial ad reads, he fluffed it completely. The Game Awards were hosted on December 9, a show that dished out awards for the year’s best games and debuted trailers for new exciting titles. Sodapoppin was co-streaming the show on Twitch when his ad read for the main sponsor of the stream went horribly wrong. Sodapoppin’s Bacardi ad goes all wrong The co-stream for the event was sponsored by the spirits brand Bacardi. The company sent Soda a bottle of Spiced Bacardi, which he made a drink from just before the show kicked off. He sliced up a lemon, mixed in some Coca-Cola, and, although the drink looked well made, apparently its looks were deceiving. As he took a sip of the Bacardi drink he winced and said, “I love it. That’s.. good stuff. That tastes just like what I want it to be, Bacardi.” Soda could barely get the drink down, even though he took the tiniest of sips. The streamer mustered up enough courage to down what he could and put on a happy face for the ad segment. His audience cracked up at the failed ad read, laughing at his tortured taste buds. Although Soda secured the bag from the Bacardi ad, the free alcohol they sent him might be in the garbage by now. But, as the saying goes, no press is bad press, so in a way, this ad, with over 40,000 views on the clip, was probably a lot more viral than the sponsor had bargained for.

As review scores pour in, fans couldn’t be more excited to get their hands on Elden Ring ahead of its February 25 release. The upcoming RPG developed by FromSoftware is in collaboration with Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, and is looking to be one of the most anticipated game releases of 2022. However, judging by FromSoftware’s previous releases such as Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne – which are notoriously known for being extremely difficult to beat – players can only imagine what they’ll be up against. One of few people who are fortunate enough to get their hands on the game early is Twitch star Sodapoppin, who quickly found out the hard way how difficult Elden Ring will be. After only an hour of playing the anticipated RPG during his February 24 broadcast, Sodapoppin reached the Limegrave area, where he came across the Tree Sentinel boss. Despite Soda’s prior experience playing similar titles like Dark Souls, the streamer struggled, to say the least. His first attempt at taking down the boss didn’t exactly go to plan after the streamer got decimated in just one hit. On his second run, Sodapoppin did surprisingly well, almost killing the Tree Sentinel. However, in a shocking turn of events, the streamer was once again obliterated. “Did you see that?” exclaimed the Soda after briefly letting out a cry for help. With the game set for launch in a mere few hours, players and creators alike are prepared for pain and suffering while trying to complete the difficult game. Fans should be ready and expect a lot of clips of hilarious outbursts of rage from their favorite streamers once the servers go live.

Sodapoppin grosses out everyone after eating whole banana on Ludwig’s Mogul Money stream – Dexerto
Sodapoppin grosses out everyone after eating whole banana on Ludwig’s Mogul Money stream Twitch, Ludwig / SodapoppinLudwig’s latest episode of Mogul Money took a wild turn when Sodapoppin grossed everyone out, after eating an unpeeled banana in front of fellow streamers xQc and Cyr. Ludwig has been a household name on Twitch for years, but after he cemented his place as one of the platform’s top dogs after his 31-day subathon he knew he had to continue to be creative. In came his Jeopardy-style game show, Mogul Money, where he brings on other big names from the industry to answer questions for prizes. Thanks to Sh**camp 2021, a group outing organized by TSM’s very own QTCinderella, the latest episode brought us the hilarious group of Cyr, xQc, and Sodapoppin. However, when Sodapoppin lost a question regarding juice color, things took a wild turn. Sodapoppin eats a whole banana Streamed on September 28, Ludwig introduced the group to his viewers and the show began. With xQc in the lead by 300 points, it was Cyr’s turn to choose a category. “Juicers for 300,” he said, allowing the host to read off the question: “Doctors recommend you drink more water if your urine is the color of this juice.” Sodapoppin buzzed in with the answer “banana,” to which he was met with confusion from his peers. Cyr then buzzed in with what was considered an acceptable answer, Orange. Things quickly turned as the two competitors argued about fruit colors with each other while a very quiet xQc sat in the middle of them. Then the question was asked: “How often do you eat the peel of a banana?” This question led Sodapoppin to tell his opponent that he eats them all the time, as he believes they’re the healthiest part of the banana. What Soda may not have expected is that Ludwig decided to call him out on his eating habits, offering him points for the question if he eats a whole banana on stream. xQc was definitely grossed out by his competitor, as he cried out: “Really, on the show?” At this point, it was already happening. The streamer, real name Chase Morris, was chewing on a banana — peel and all — without even showing a hint of disgusted looks. This isn’t the first time Morris has done something controversial on stream, just last year he demolished a valuable Pokemon card and stunned a group of his fans.

Sodapoppin gains 3M Twitch followers overnight as bots plague platform – Dexerto
Sodapoppin gains 3M Twitch followers overnight as bots plague platform Sodapoppin/TwitchA number of large Twitch streamers, including Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris, have seen their follower numbers double or more than double in just a day due to what seems to be an infestation of bots on the platform. Usually on any social media/streaming site for that matter, gaining followers is generally considered a good thing, but recently on Twitch, several big streamers have seen their numbers absolutely explode through the use of bots. Now, let’s make it clear before we go on that it’s highly unlikely that any of the affected streamers are to blame, as view or follow botting is a bannable offense on Twitch. Instead, it’s probably a random person or group of people behind the flood of new accounts and follows. Around December 17-18, Soda’s follow count doubled almost instantly, rocketing him up to nearly 7 million overall — a gain of almost 3.5 million in just one day, numbers that are simply unheard of in any situation. Morris wasn’t the only streamer to be affected though, not by a long shot. According to the third-party stat-tracking site twitchmetrics.net, all kinds of streamers on the platform are seeing insane follower growth over the last few weeks. Just under Soda is Twitch partner Heelmike, who’s gained over 2.5 million followers since this situation began, and Gonedoc clocking in at 2.4 million gained. Next up was U.S. streamer Shofu who amassed 1.2 million, and lolnatie who got 890,000 followers to take her from just 10,000 to 900,000 in a day. Compare this astounding growth to Dexerto’s 2020 streamer of the year winner Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, who’s been steadily amassing followers throughout the month, for a nice solid and legitimate gain of just over 200,000. Just looking at his followers and Soda’s tracked side by side, and it’s not hard to see why bots are most likely to blame. Nick’s graph shows a nice gradual increase, while Chance’s shoots up to more than double in just a day. Now that we’ve established that it’s probably bots responsible for all these new follows, there’s one question that still remains — why would someone or a group of people go to all the trouble to bump up these unrelated streamer’s numbers? Maybe those responsible are huge fans of each of the streamers and just wanted to give them some extra followers for the holiday. Whatever the reason, this is certainly one of the strangest situations we’ve seen on Twitch all year.

Sodapoppin falls off his chair after terrifying Escape the Ayuwok moment – Dexerto
Sodapoppin falls off his chair after terrifying Escape the Ayuwok moment Twitch star Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris got absolutely terrified during a playthrough of horror game Escape the Ayuwoki. Sodapoppin is one of the biggest variety streamers on Twitch, having gathered over 2.5 million followers and dominating the views on any almost any game he decides to stream. Recently the American has been trying out horror games and found possibly the scariest one yet after a jump scare sent him flying out of his chair in fear. On November 6, Chance was streaming Escape the Ayuwoki, a horror game where the player has to escape from a mansion guarded by a monster. The game immediately put him on edge with its unsettling atmosphere until it finally built up to the ultimate jump scare. Soda had recently returned to an area where he saw the monster and found it to be missing, he seemed confused and uttered “wait it’s gone” before turning around, and was instantly ambushed by the Ayuwoki, who jumped onto him and began screeching. The American was completely terrified and screamed back at Ayuwoki in fear before jumping out of his seat, only to stop short and fall over backward along with his chair. He slowly got up and sat back down in his seat, not saying anything about the moment, but continuing playing, clearly quite shaken up. It wasn’t long before Sodapoppin was in trouble again, as the monster once again managed to find him and corner him, leaving the streamer gasping in fear and on the edge of a scream. He ended up taking a quick break and recomposed himself, continuing with his horror adventure and no doubt getting frightened many more times along the way.

Sodapoppin finally unbanned on Twitch after two-week suspension – Dexerto
Sodapoppin finally unbanned on Twitch after two-week suspension Twitch: SodapoppinVeteran Twitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has been unbanned from the platform, after a controversial suspension on April 14. Although the exact cause of the suspension was never confirmed, as Twitch does not reveal bans publicly, and Sodapoppin did not address it, fans speculated that it was caused by a controversial ‘black face’ joke. Soda had been applying make-up to a character’s face in a game, when he said “hmm, black face.” He went on to give the character a minstrel-like appearance. The clip was shared to Reddit, where Sodapoppin offered an explanation, saying he “didn’t notice how that correlated at the time I was just throwing random make-up on the face.” “In hindsight, I see how that yea, it’s like an extreme blackface. I didn’t mean for it to get racist sounding/looking as it did but yea this was just me being naive and not realizing how the mouth correlated with the skin etc.” Sodapoppin’s Twitch suspension lifted Perhaps unsurprisingly, his account was banned shortly after the incident, although with no response from Soda, it was unclear how long the suspension would last. As of April 28, his channel has been reinstated on Twitch, meaning he was given a forced break for exactly two weeks, and is now free to return to streaming on his partnered account. In his decade on the platform, Sodapoppin has been banned on multiple occasions. Perhaps most infamously, he was suspended for breaking sexual content guidelines, after a VR Chat stream. He responded with a tongue-in-cheek apology video that quickly went viral. Although Twitch rarely suspends long-time, established streamers permanently, it is a risk that streamers take if they receive multiple suspensions. Sodapoppin will need to be careful to avoid future community guidelines violations or could risk a much longer time out on the sidelines, or even an indefinite ban.

Sodapoppin explains why he’d take exclusive deal with Kick if offered millions – Dexerto
Sodapoppin explains why he’d take exclusive deal with Kick if offered millions Twitch: SodapoppinSodapoppin revealed during a recent stream why he’d take an exclusive deal with Trainwreck’s platform, Kick, if he was offered $1,000,000. Over the last few weeks, TrainwrecksTV’s streaming platform Kick has gained massive popularity, with a few of Twitch’s biggest creators signing exclusive deals with the site. Fans of some of the purple app’s other creators, like Sodapoppin and xQc, have asked the streamers if they would sign a multi-million-dollar deal with Kick. During a recent stream, Sodapoppin answered the question and explained why he would decide to take the deal should they offer him one. Sodapoppin explains why he’d take exclusive Kick deal While playing Elden Ring on March 2, a fan asked Sodapoppin if he’d take an exclusive deal with Kick via a TTS donation. The viewer asked: “Considering you considered switching to Mixer at one point, if Kick offered a similar deal of three to five million, would you take it and switch platforms?” “You know what? I would take a million-dollar contract because, just like Mixer, I feel like the website’s going to go down and they’ll fulfill their contracts and I’ll be right back on Twitch,” Soda replied. Back in September 2022, Sodapoppin revealed that he had been offered $10M to switch from Twitch to Mixer alongside Ninja and Shroud just before the platform met its unfortunate end. Whether or not Trainwreck’s new platform will see the same fate is still to be determined, but according to Adin Ross, they are offering quite a bit of money for talent.

Sodapoppin explains why WoW Classic is going to be “so boring” – Dexerto
Sodapoppin explains why WoW Classic is going to be “so boring” Site officielBlizzard is gearing up for World of Warcraft Classic to go live on August 27, but popular Twitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris is warning fans that it’s going to be ‘boring’ and not very interesting to watch as a stream. WoW first released in 2004, and went on to become one of the most popular MMORPGs of all time. Over its near 15-year run, the game has seen over six major expansions and has gone through many changes, so it is pretty far removed from how it was when it originally launched. But older players have long held nostalgia for the classic version, and newcomers have wanted to see what they missed out on. With Blizzard releasing the original version, will it be everything it’s hyped up to be? Sodapoppin doesn’t think so. WoW Classic will be “so boring” During a stream on August 23, Sodapoppin went on a rant about the Classic version launching and how he feels it’s going to be boring. “It’s going to be so boring. The first streams are going to be so boring, god, to watch.” He then elaborated that he was worried that everyone is over-hyping the Classic. “Everyone is so hyped about Classic. I’ve never seen this game. I can’t wait to go check it out. It’s on Twitter, even Reddit’s bumping.” A screenshot from one of the earlier versions of World of Warcraft. The popular Twitch streamer also addressed the long queues once it launches, and described what those checking it out could potentially experience. “Login screen. Queue. Five hours. Man everyone’s in queue, I can’t wait to come back in 5 hours to actually see the gameplay,” he said. He then explained that he thought players would be in for disappointment after the long wait, and the hype: “They come back in 5 hours. Man they’re only hitting one button. Half the time they’re just drinking, this sucks!” Blizzard recently did an AMA over on Reddit, where a Senior Game Producer with the username ‘Chromschi’ said that the company anticipates long queue times on release. “On the most popular servers, such as Herod and Shazzrah, we are currently estimating lengthy queue times – up to several hours or more in certain instances,” they said. A Blizzard dev expects long queues for WoW classic600 It remains to be seen if Sodapoppin’s predictions will be correct.

Sodapoppin explains how he ‘hacked’ Twitch to troll upcoming streamer – Dexerto
Sodapoppin explains how he ‘hacked’ Twitch to troll upcoming streamer Twitch: Sodapoppin / Twitter: YounehChance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris, with the help of ‘Fyz,’ went undercover as himself in an elaborate troll against an upcoming Just Chatting streamer on Twitch, who couldn’t believe the real Soda was in her chat. Sodapoppin has his fair share of fans across Twitch. The World of Warcraft streamer has been at the top of the charts for years, with thousands of loyal followers tuning in every day. Many of those followers are just like him — streamers on the platform — so when he drops by random channels, it would be a pretty big moment for them. However, one streamer wasn’t convinced that it was the real Sodapoppin, and so the streamer and a friend played an elaborate prank to make it seem that way. On February 15, Sodapoppin entered the Twitch chat of Youneh and followed her, startling the streamer. However, the streamer didn’t let anyone know of the story until February 25 in a bit of a tell-all about the antics he and Fyz pulled that day. “So there was this girl that was streaming and I followed her channel — we were just going through Just Chatting and I followed her,” he said. “I didn’t know it would pop up and show up on her screen ‘Sodapoppin followed’ and she was like ‘oh my god, Sodapoppin followed,’ and I was like f**k, great, so that’s annoying I hate that.” Sodapoppin’s friend, Fyz, came up with an excuse for the random sub. He had hacked Twitch, and now he was spamming Sodapoppin follower alerts all across the platform, and he just so happened to be testing the program on her stream. “Fyz came in and said something along the lines of ‘hey, no, I hacked Twitch, and I made this program that makes it look like big streamers did certain things.’ She bought it, and because I was in Discord with Fyz he was like, ‘yo, subscribe to her,’ so I subbed to her.” “Right before I subbed Fyz typed: ‘watch, I’ll make him subscribe to you.’ She’s like ‘oh my god Fyz, how did you write this program, that’s so crazy,’ and she’s going on, she loves it, she believes it. From there though, the hoax only got deeper and deeper. What seemed like an innocent follow turned into something much deeper. “Because Fyz subscribed to her, he got her Snapchat,” he said, holding back the laughter. “She’s still debating whether or not it’s actually me, she’s having doubts. She gives Fyz the Snapchat, but Fyz then gives it to me, so I have her Snapchat, but she thinks it’s Fyz pretending. “I literally snapchat her my face. I send her a picture of my face. She’s like ‘oh my god, that’s not real, how did you photoshop that?’ I snapchatted her again, but this time, I have her Twitch name, and I write it in paint in the background so you can see it on the monitor in the back, but she still doesn’t believe it.” From hacking Twitch to hacking Snapchat, Youneh seemed in awe of Fyz’s ‘skill,’ and wanted him to keep pushing the limits. “Fyz is now claiming ‘yeah, I wrote this program that lets me hack big streamer’s faces and snapchat them.’ She believes it, but then she asks for it on a piece of paper, and Fyz is like ‘yeah, one second,’ so I get a piece of paper and I say ‘f**k you’ on it as well. The duo went on to send videos and even get Sodapoppin to get in a Discord call with her, all while she believed it was just from Fyz’s “program.” The prank had Sodapoppin and his community in stitches, and Youneh could also see the funny side of it as well once all was said and done. So, if you see Sodapoppin in your small stream, someone hasn’t hacked Twitch — it’s the real Soda, and you should definitely get a little excited at his expense.

Sodapoppin explains why he “doesn’t care” for fan meet and greets – Dexerto
Sodapoppin explains why he “doesn’t care” for fan meet and greets Sodapoppin, YouTubeTwitch star Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris is one of the site’s biggest content creators, but he isn’t sold on the idea of meet and greets with fans, as revealed in a January broadcast. With the rise of online entertainment, many internet stars hold meet and greets with their fanbases at big events such as TwitchCon, VidCon, PAX, etc… Although these fan interactions can lead to some hilarious moments (as seen when one fan asked Pokimane out on a date during TwitchCon 2019), some entertainers aren’t big on these kinds of experiences. Sodapoppin is one such personality, as he explained his reasoning for disliking one-on-one fan meet and greets after a viewer asked him to visit his European audience. According to Morris, he finds himself having similar conversations with his fans every time, leading to a rather boring experience for both himself and his viewers. “I don’t care to do meet and greets, man,” he admitted. “I’ll do it every now and then, but eventually it’s just the same convo over and over. I guess I like giving back here and there, but outside of that, I personally don’t enjoy it.” While the streamer went on to joke about fake illicit activities at TwitchCon Europe, he likewise claimed that he doesn’t enjoy watching streamers meet their fans during live broadcasts, citing a recent fan interaction filmed on Greekgodx’s channel. “As a viewer, I didn’t care to watch it,” he continued. “I don’t give a sh*t to see some person I don’t know get a selfie with a streamer who was trying to stream. I just don’t care to see it. I don’t give a f**k. Maybe that’s really mean.” Sodapoppin is somewhat known for his divisive opinions, having called out both Twitch viewers and gamers numerous times beforehand, so his latest take on meet and greets comes as little surprise to regular viewers. Considering his desire to produce interesting streams and have genuine conversations with fans, his opinion isn’t necessarily without merit. What do you think of Sodapoppin’s take on meet and greets? Do you agree with him?

Sodapoppin claims Blizzard has “personal vendetta” against him following WoW success – Dexerto
Sodapoppin claims Blizzard has “personal vendetta” against him following WoW success Twitch: Sodapoppin/ Activision BlizzardVeteran streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has claimed that he has “never” been given the beta versions of Activision Blizzard games such as Overwatch and World Of Warcraft. The reason being, he believes, is that one employee “f**king hates” him. Sodapoppin has earned his title as a veteran of the streaming community having set up his Twitch account at 18 years old. Although he enjoyed a huge popularity boost after featuring Among Us in his content, it was his WoW streams that helped catapult him to stardom in his early career, subsequently making him one of the most popular players of the MMO at the time. However, despite his incredible success, Soda claims that WoW’s developer Activision Blizzard was reluctant to work with him. So much so, that it went back on a sponsorship deal with the streamer. Sodapoopin reveals past Activision Blizzard deal On June 24, Sodapoppin shared that he was once approached for a sponsorship deal with Activision Blizzard in the lead-up to the release of the Crusader class in Diablo Immortal. However, the deal soon fell through for one hard-hitting reason. “A long time ago and this was when I was much younger I got a sponsorship opportunity to play the new Crusader Class in Diablo 3,” Soda claimed. “They’re not even paying that much I’m just excited and all they wanted was a YouTube video of playing and showing off the Crusader Class.” However, he then got a phone call from the management company who originally hired him for the job supposedly saying, “Blizzard really doesn’t like you and we f**ked up. We’re sorry. They don’t you want to have you do the video.” Yet, he was offered half the original fee for not releasing the clip instead. It’s not clear why the deal fell through, but Soda believes it’s because one Blizzard employee has a “personal vendetta” against him. As a result, he was also excluded from having access to any beta versions of Blizzard games such as Overwatch and WoW. Although, all is forgiven on Soda’s end: “To be fair, back then I deserved it […] back then I was bad. There’s nothing else to it I was really really bad.” Despite his success, Soda has landed himself in hot water on various occasions throughout his career not only with his fellow streamers but even with Twitch.

Sodapoppin causes chaos in GTA RP by giving a cat a rocket launcher – Dexerto
Sodapoppin causes chaos in GTA RP by giving a cat a rocket launcher Twitch : SodapoppinOn December 14, known Twitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris decided to pay a visit to Los Santos. This wasn’t your usual visit, though – as opposed to playing his usual character, Morris decided to cause chaos as a cat. Sodapoppin is undoubtedly one of the more tenured streamers, not just in Twitch, but within the live streaming space as a whole. Known to be sporadic and true to himself in nature — especially on stream — he has garnered himself a massive following and viewership. This type of being has flowed into his streams, especially his GTA RP broadcasts, where he’s partaken in roleplaying (particularly in the famous NoPixel server). In the past, he’s played as Kevin, a character based on himself. This time around, though, not only is he not playing himself – he’s not even playing as a human. Sodapoppin causes chaos in GTA RP by giving a cat a rocket launcher Towards the latter half of his stream, while Sodapoppin was looking for a game to play with his friends, he decided to hop on NoPixel once again… this time as a cat. Nothing much happened, as he was mostly relearning the ropes of the game in cat form: But things picked up when his friend Vigors — known roleplayer of the server — hopped on Discord with him and asked what he was doing. “What the f**k are you doing?” Vigors asked. “I’ve been waiting for you…I’m a cat,” Sodapoppin said. Soon enough, more of Sodapoppin’s friends began to trickle into the Discord. This was quickly followed up by fellow Twitch streamer MOONMOON suggesting for Sodapoppin to hold a gun, wondering what it would look like for a feline to wield a ranged weapon. A few minutes passed before Sodapoppin was given a rocket launcher, of all things. He attempted to fire it, but couldn’t get it to work. They later decided to get on a car and attempted to shoot at passing NPCs. Ultimately, they were unable to shoot the rocket launcher, prompting Vigors to hand Sodapoppin yet another gun to use… and it didn’t work, either, causing Sodapoppin to quit the game. Sodapoppin can be unpredictable when it comes to his streams, and it was only fitting that he was handed a rocket launcher and other guns while acting as a cat on the most popular roleplay server. For entertainment’s sake, it’s unfortunate more chaos couldn’t occur.

Sodapoppin explains why his Christmas stream will be in February – Dexerto
Sodapoppin explains why his Christmas stream will be in February Popular World of Warcraft streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris has moved his annual Christmas stream to February next year, but some fans are confused with the decision. Sodapoppin’s Christmas opening stream has become a Twitch tradition over the years. Celebrating the festive joy with his fans, Sodapoppin shares his favorite stories from the year, all while getting into the Christmas cheer with plenty of gifts. However, with the streamer announcing that he was taking a break from Twitch on November 29, some of his plans for the festive season have been thwarted. Sodapoppin explained to his fans that his Christmas stream was being delayed until February — just in time for the streamer’s birthday. “Since I’m not streaming for a while, I am moving the Christmas opening stream to February for a birthday opening stream instead,” he said. “Nothing about the stream is going to change except for the date. The reason behind the streamer’s break from the platform is to focus on one of gaming’s hardest achievements — getting Rank 14 on World of Warcraft. To elaborate, I am currently not streaming trying to grind Rank 14, i feel weird af just going live all of a sudden for a Christmas opening stream, id rather do it when im fully back into streaming and used to it, otherwise id feel super awkward, sry everyone ;( — ChanceMorris (@Sodapoppintv) December 5, 2019 “I’m currently not streaming trying to grind to Rank 14, [and] I feel weird [as f**k] just going live all of a sudden for a Christmas opening stream,” he said. “I’d rather do it when I’m fully back into streaming and used to it, otherwise I’d feel super awkward.” Getting Rank 14 on World of Warcraft Classic requires months of non-stop grinding for numerous hours a day. Sodapoppin has moved his streams off to a secondary account so he doesn’t feel pressured in creating entertaining content, but people still interested in following his progress can do so. “I think I can do it, but streaming it is really boring and only makes it more difficult,” he said. “Classic WoW people hate streaming so I just don’t want to go live doing it.” Listen i am not rly streaming for a while because im trying to grind rank 14, I think I can do it but streaming it is rly boring and only makes it more difficult, and classic wow people hate streaming so i just dont want to go live doing it. Maybe BGs, but thats where I am atm. — ChanceMorris (@Sodapoppintv) November 30, 2019 Sodapoppin’s community has had mixed reactions to the Christmas stream delay. While some are understanding of the streamer putting his own gaming aspirations before public entertainment, people who have donated gifts for the stream have felt left out. “Imagine taking thousands of dollars from people with an agreement of what you’re going to do with it and then changing your mind and not holding to that,” said Twitter user ‘Mythun’. Fans of Sodapoppin’s streams can continue to watch the streamer celebrate Christmas his own way on his second account ‘Skippypoppin’, but they’ll have to wait for the festive opening stream for a few months yet.

Sodapoppin calls himself an “idiot” for not taking Mixer deal – Dexerto
Sodapoppin calls himself an “idiot” for not taking Mixer deal Twitch: SodapoppinTwitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris is absolutely furious with himself for not taking an exclusive streaming deal with Mixer when it was offered to him. Exclusive streaming deals are flying left, right, and center at the moment, with some of the biggest creators in the world jumping between platforms. Recently, we’ve seen creators such as FaZe Clan star ‘Swagg’ sign exclusive deals with YouTube. Similarly, Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu made the same move, where she’ll be joining her friends Valkyrae, Ludwig, Sykkuno, and many more on the Google-owned platform. Now, Twitch streamer Sodapoppin has opened up on how he regrets not taking an offer from Mixer before the Microsoft-owned streaming site shut down in 2020. Sodapoppin regrets not taking Mixer deal Ninja was the first to kick off the exclusive deals with his first-of-a-kind move to Mixer in 2019. In the following months, we began seeing other top streamers follow suit, with shroud also joining the platform. However, as we know, the site soon shut down, and the two received huge payouts. With 8.8M followers on Twitch alone, Sodapoppin is arguably one of the biggest streamers in the world, and with massive audience as big as his, it’s no surprise to learn that he was also prime target for Mixer to poach. The 28-year-old streaming star first opened up about his regrets not moving from Twitch to Mixer back in August, where he revealed he wished he’d taken the lucrative opportunity. More recently, he was asked what missed opportunity he’d travel back in time to take if he could, and, of course, he mentioned his deal with Mixer. “Mixer! I would sign the f**k out of that $10M deal,” he admitted. “I’d sign it, I would leave, I’d take the f**king money, they’d pay me back I don’t know the actual number, but its millions.” Friend and fellow streamer Nmplol was left completely shocked, calling him an idiot for not taking the Mixer offer. “I know, I know, I could’ve signed it, they would’ve shut down and went out of business,” Soda replied. “They would’ve had to fulfill the contract and pay me what they owed me which would’ve been millions and I would’ve just came back!” In hindsight, nobody could’ve predicted that Mixer would go out of business after they already signed Ninja and shroud. It’s likely that Sodapoppin would’ve had to stream for years on the platform in return for the millions of dollars that were on offer. However, it sure is an opportunity nobody would want to miss out on, as he would’ve returned to Twitch sooner than anticipated with probably a lot more in his bank account.

Sodapoppin can’t stop laughing over Asmongold’s one month WoW ban – Dexerto
Sodapoppin can’t stop laughing over Asmongold’s one month WoW ban Twitch: Asmongold/ SodapoppinTwitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris claimed that Asmongold’s month-long World of Warcraft was clearly innocent. However, that didn’t make the situation any less funny for him. MMORPG streamer Asmongold has been one of the most popular World of Warcraft streamers for a long time. Fans regularly rush to hear his opinions on the fantasy game’s expansions or hit out at Blizzard for game choices. So, understandably his fans were surprised to learn that Asmongold had been banned from WoW for supposedly engaging with real money transactions. However, he denied any such wrongdoing. While Asmongold actually saw the positives of the suspension as it meant he could “farm” it for content on YouTube, his fellow Twitch streamer Sodapoppin saw the funny side. Sodapoppin finds Asmongold WoW ban “really funny” On August 17, Sodapoppin was asked by his chat over Asmongold’s random WoW ban. He claimed that it was likely the cause of Blizzard suspending multiple accounts across the community, including Asmongold’s. “So once a year [Blizzard] do a massive ban,” Soda explained. “They do it through like an algorithm, I guess and they do it to ban a lot of ‘PvP-ers’ so people that are selling carries and people receiving carries.” He added that some people, like Asmongold, get “caught up in the crossfire.” He then burst into laughter calling the fact that the suspension was for one month instead of six “very funny.” Soda’s chat informed him that Asmongold’s suspension has reportedly been lifted after raising it up with Blizzard. However, Soda clarified that he didn’t believe that his fellow Twitch streamer did anything wrong. It was more the way the Blizzard algorithm ‘detected’ the problem and subsequently banned him. Asmongold’s WoW ban was originally scheduled to last until September 13. Although, it wasn’t long until he was back up roaming through Azeroth.

Sodapoppin betrays his only friend in Project Zomboid, but there’s a twist – Dexerto
Sodapoppin betrays his only friend in Project Zomboid, but there’s a twist The Indie Stone/SodapoppinTwitch star Sodapoppin was playing Project Zomboid’s new multiplayer feature with fellow streamer Cyr when he discovered that his friend had been infected by a zombie. Survival horror game Project Zomboid received a major update with Build 41 which included tons of new gameplay features and including new combat and animations. Along with the update included a beta for multiplayer, which has helped spark new interest in the nearly decade-old zombie game. Sodapoppin was streaming the new multiplayer feature with Cyr, when the pair played out a Walking Dead scenario in real-time. Sodapoppin fights for survival The streamer was broadcasting the survival game on December 27, when he made a fatal discovery. Soda inspected Cyr’s wounds and noticed something terrible, “I’m gonna remove this dirty bandage here. Okay, yup, you’re bit.” He bonked the infected streamer on the head a few times to kill him, when Cyr ran and begged for his life shouting, “Please! Please!” Cyr took a swing at Soda in a last-ditch effort to save his life, but he missed and Soda retaliated with a killing blow, which sent him into a fit of laughter. What Soda didn’t realize was that Cyr would quickly be revived as a zombie after dying, and his zombie corpse attacked Soda from the afterlife. Thankfully, Sodapoppin wasn’t infected from the bite that he endured from Cyr’s zombie form. Cyr quickly respawned into Soda’s game and ran right over to his previous body, which he was shocked to discover: “Oh! I know him! Did you kill him!?” Soda struggled not to burst into laughter and said, “I didn’t not. I killed them, and they killed him. There’s no reason for you to not believe me, you just got here.” Cyr then claimed that he could “absorb memories by eating brains”, and ate his previous body’s brain to discover what really happened. Project Zomboid’s new co-op mode has some clear RP potential, and Sodapoppin has only begun tapping into it.

Sodapoppin accidentally tricks friends into thinking he’s having a kid – Dexerto
Sodapoppin accidentally tricks friends into thinking he’s having a kid During a Twitch broadcast, popular variety streamer Sodapoppin jokingly stated he was having a kid. After the clip was shared on Reddit, some of Soda’s friends were fooled into thinking he was being serious. Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris has been a streamer on Twitch since 2012. Starting as a World of Warcraft broadcaster, Soda has grown his community to the point where they will watch him play anything. From IRL streams, to gambling, or any random Steam game, Soda has amassed a loyal following. And being around the platform for so long, Sodapoppin has been pretty open with his chat. So, when he slipped out that he was “having a kid,” some members of his community took his words at face value. A Reddit post titled “soda is having a kid!!!!!” caught the attention of some of Soda’s friends, and they were quick to believe it. Sodapoppin reacts to rumors of having a child The next day, Sodapoppin addressed the rumors on stream. He stated that the reason he said “I’m having a kid” was to avoid what was actually going to come out of his mouth. He explained he was going to talk about his friends with COVID-19, but didn’t know if they wanted that information public. However, he did get a good laugh out of unintentionally fooling his friends. Sodapoppin stated that his close friends saw the post on LiveStreamFails and thought it was real. They immediately reached out to congratulate him. Soda shared a DM from his friend PandaTV that read, “Bro, wtf? Are you really having a kid? People are messaging me?!?!” He also cleared the air and confirmed he was not having a kid. He also stated that he wasn’t sure if he did have coronavirus, although he had spent time with the friends who now do. The internet sleuths attempting to find out who the mom is will be a little disappointed when they learn Sodapoppin won’t be a Sodapapa. Sodapoppin banned from Twitch following apology for controversial “black face” clip – Dexerto
Sodapoppin banned from Twitch following apology for controversial “black face” clip Instagram: sodapoppintv / TwitchChance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris was just handed his second Twitch ban, as the popular streamer had his account taken offline with a surprise April 13 suspension. While Sodapoppin is one of the biggest personalities on Twitch today, often streaming the latest games and reacting to various drama in the space, he’s now been booted from the platform for the second time. Sodapoppin’s account was hit offline with a mysterious ban on Wednesday, April 13. At the time of writing, the reason for the ban is not confirmed. ❌ Twitch Partner “sodapoppin” (@Sodapoppintv) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/IVEDDJeEe8#twitch #ban #secondban #partner #twitchpartner 🍙 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 14, 2022 Although nothing has yet been confirmed, initial speculation from fans online points towards a recent clip from April 9 as the leading cause of his ban. During the controversial clip, Soda was applying makeup to a generic face in a video game, saying “blackface” as he did. While this could no doubt void the Twitch terms of service, there’s no guarantee this particular moment is what led to an eventual ban. Sodapoppin explained and apologized for the incident after it gained attention on Reddit. Soda was first previously from Twitch in July 2020. Though this suspension was quickly overturned just 24 hours later, and he offered a hilarious apology video that went viral. Without an official explanation for his latest ban, there’s no telling how long this one may last. The streamer is yet to address his ban on social media.

Sodapoppin accidentally makes $10k from merch and isn’t happy about it – Dexerto
Sodapoppin accidentally makes $10k from merch and isn’t happy about it YouTube: SodapoppinTwitch streamer Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris explained that while he had attempted to make zero profit off his recent merch launch, a missing discount code meant that many bought the shirts at full price, and he ended up unintentionally making $10,000. Sodapoppin is a variety streamer with almost 6 million Twitch followers. Lately he’s been streaming the latest Twitch phenomenon Rust, participating in the huge OfflineTV server alongside creators like xQc and shroud. For most streamers, releasing merch is not only a great way to share something with their followers, but from a business perspective also allows them to make a decent amount of profit to put back into their content. While it seems strange for someone to want to avoid making money off their products, that’s what Sodapoppin did when he released his new merch. In a YouTube video about the topic, he explained, “the merch store, there is no profit in it. It’s simply just very cheap shirts. But they’re 100% cotton.” He also said, “it’s not like they’re cheap shirts, it’s just that my profit is taken out, I get nothing from it.” Sodapoppin accidentally makes $10k With that goal in mind, it then made a lot of sense when Soda shared his frustrations with gaining over $10,000 from the drop – completely unintentionally. “You wanna hear rich people problems?” he began. “So Malena made a YouTube video talking about the shirts or whatever, the store. The whole purpose of the shirts is to be dirt cheap and make zero profit.” He revealed the choice was selling the shirts for $9, or selling them at $12 and provide a discount which would make them cheaper overall. “But Malena made this video, and she didn’t know about the discount code. I made like ten grand on people not knowing about the discount code. And I’m pissed about it.” An unintentional $10k isn’t usually something that people would get annoyed at, but it couldn’t have been further away from what Chance was trying to do with his new merch release. Although the kind gesture ended up backfiring in an unexpected way, the story of the accidental profit-making was definitely an entertaining one for viewers.

Sodapoppin accidentally poops himself during live stream – Dexerto
Sodapoppin accidentally poops himself during live stream Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris is one of Twitch’s top broadcasters, boasting an audience of over 2.6 million followers on the site – but with a large audience comes equally large blowups when things go wrong. Unfortunately for Morris, something went horribly wrong during a World of Warcraft Classic broadcast on October 19 – although it wasn’t in streamers’ usual slew of technical difficulties. Instead, it looks like Morris suffered an unfortunate bodily compilation, which may have been a possible side effect of dealing with his current illness. 600https://twitter.com/Sodapoppintv/status/1139110616705175553?s=20During his stream, Sodapoppin halted to let out a casual fart – which he quickly realized wasn’t actually a fart, at all. Instead, the streamer announced that he had accidentally soiled himself, leaving his setup to change pants after admitting to the slip-up in panicked shock. “I’m literally, like, peeing out of my anus,” Sodapoppin explained upon returning to his stream a few moments later. “That was a mistake.” Believe it or not, this wouldn’t be the first time a top streamer has pooped themselves during a live broadcast: in fact, Twitch star “PaymoneyWubby” suffered a similar accident during a stream on September 20 – nearly a full month ahead of Sodapoppin’s “sh*tty” situation. In much the same vein, Wubby also mistakenly trusted a fart, which ended in a hilarious tirade toward his audience where he claimed that he wouldn’t clean up the mess out of “pride.” “You know what, no,” he argued. “You know what? I’m looking at everyone in chat saying… ooh, hold on. You know you’ve done bad when the fart smell lingers and you realize it’s not a fart anymore. It’s emanating from an object. There’s a foreign object in my pants right now.” Despite the hilarity of both situations, Sodapoppin’s sickness comes right in the middle of a competition for WoW Classic, making his embarrassing accident a really “crappy” development amidst an already stressful weekend. Thanks to live streaming, moments like these get captured as they happen in real time – resulting in hilarious (and embarrassing) moments for both viewers and streamers, alike.

Social media stunned as sleeping bag “cheat” goes viral online – Dexerto
Social media stunned as sleeping bag “cheat” goes viral online Twitter: Science GirlSocial media users are in awe after a video showcasing the proper way to compress sleeping bags after use goes viral on Twitter. For many outdoor lovers or festival goers, the sleeping bag is essential item for day-to-day life as well as camping trips, hiking, and more. And while the item can be a handy tool to have when exploring, the pack-up process is often the source of great frustration. Many outdoor TikTokers and enthusiasts often post videos of the best way to pack up sleeping bags and fit them back into their cover in the most compact way possible. However, social media users are freaking out after a new video showcasing a “cheat” for packing away sleeping bags has gone viral on Twitter. Twitter account Science Girl, which has over 1.6 million followers on the platform, shared a video explaining “how sleeping bags are compressed for packing.” The clip, which has been viewed over five million times since being posted on Twitter, has garnered a massive response from users all across the globe. One Twitter user commented on the video, “Now I understand why I can never repack them after opening.” Another user added, “No wonder! I must have 8 sacks for sleeping bags that I can’t use because I don’t have a backpack stuffing machine. I buy third-party stuff sacks to squeeze them into my pack. It would be better if they came with stuff sacks.” On the flip side, a third questioned “Why don’t they sell that machine with the bag?” Given just how much of a challenge packing away a sleeping bag can be at the best of times, time will tell if this hack encourages others to invest in getting their bags properly sealed before and after each use.

Social media drags NYPD after it confiscates Final Fantasy prop sword – Dexerto
Social media drags NYPD after it confiscates Final Fantasy prop sword Square EnixAn NYPD social media post bragging about police officers arresting a man with a gun drew the attention of users who recognized the weapon as a gunblade from Final Fantasy. Cosplay is one of the more popular components of nerd culture. Fans make increasingly elaborate costumes, which are enhanced by increasingly realistic props. Unfortunately, that realism often winds up running amok with the real world, as more realistic firearms and bladed weapons create safety concerns, especially at conventions or in public spaces. This does lead to some unfortunate encounters, where the intersection between concerns over public safety and social media leads to some peculiar moments. NYPD mocked on Twitter after seemingly confiscating a Final Fantasy cosplay sword As originally reported by DailyDot, the NYPD shared to its official NYPD News account that it had responded to a call of a man with a gun. They noted in the tweet that officers had confiscated both a fake FBI badge and a weapon. However, social media was quick to note the weapon appeared to be from a video game. Users on Twitter pointed out that the weapon appears to be a cosplay prop of the gunblade used by Squall Leonhart in Final Fantasy VIII, a PlayStation 1 RPG from 1999, as well as appearances throughout the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Others pointed out that the prop gun, which can be found on Amazon for around $50, does not even have holes drilled in its revolver to hold bullets, and felt it should not have been mistaken for a firearm. Regardless, social media had a field day, dragging the NYPD as it believed they had simply arrested a video game cosplayer carrying a prop sword. Did he remember to press r1 as the strike lands with the gunblade to do extra damage? pic.twitter.com/IrcpeIdsV4 — Reno McDallas (@RenoMcDallas) March 2, 2024 “Was his name Squall?” one user joked, with a gif of Squall swinging his gunblade. “Did he remember to press r1 as the strike lands with the gunblade to do extra damage?” another added, referencing a mechanic from the original game. The ringleader remains at large pic.twitter.com/oPDDY934jC — Author John A. Douglas (@BlkCrownAuthor) March 2, 2024 “The ringleader remains at large,” one user said, with an accompanying GIF of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. While the prop gun isn’t designed to hold bullets, it is worth pointing out that it is still a bladed weapon. The Amazon listing states it has a 20 1/2″ stainless steel blade, with the total prop measuring around 26″ long. According to the NYC website, New York City law “prohibits carrying a knife that can be seen in public, including wearing a knife outside of your clothing,” which applies “even if the blade is not exposed.” It also prohibits the public possession of a knife with a blade that is four inches or longer.

Snoop Dogg tells the NELK Boys what he really thought of Will Smith’s viral Oscars slap – Dexerto
Snoop Dogg tells the NELK Boys what he really thought of Will Smith’s viral Oscars slap YouTube: FULL SEND Podcast Clips, The GuardianSnoop Dogg joined the NELK Boys on their Full Send podcast and gave his opinion on the viral moment when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards. Will Smith took over the internet for days after slapping comedian Chris Rock in the face at the 2022 Oscars ceremony. Smith appeared to be offended at a joke Rock had made at actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s expense, later yelling at Rock to “Keep my wife’s name out your f**king mouth!” after returning to his seat. The debacle was the hot topic of conversation across social media for weeks thereafter, with other major celebrities giving their opinion on Smith’s slap — the most recent of which is rapper Snoop Dogg. Snoop appeared on an April 20 episode of YouTube group The NELK Boys’ Full Send podcast, where he notably called the situation “tragic.” “Who are you siding with?” one of the co-hosts asked. “No one,” Snoop answered. “With the Academy.” “I’m actually cool with both of them,” he continued after being asked if he was friends with the two celebs. “I have no issues. I don’t understand it. I’m a spectator, just like you guys. I wasn’t even really watching the Oscars. That’s not my Sunday night TV special.” The rapper went on to say he was alerted about the situation from a friend texting him about it, and initially thought the whole thing was “fake.” “The way he moved, I was like, ‘That s**t ain’t real. But when I saw him talking in the crowd, I’m all, ‘That ain’t fake.’” Smith has since resigned from the Academy in light of the situation and issued a formal apology to Chris Rock, wherein he claimed he was “out of line and I was wrong.” Snoop’s take on the ordeal follows his humorous opinion on the Island Boys, who he notably dubbed “two goofballs in a pool.”

Snoop Dogg wants to buy Twitter amid Elon Musk deal and his ideas are hilarious – Dexerto
Snoop Dogg wants to buy Twitter amid Elon Musk deal and his ideas are hilarious Twitch: Doggydogg20/TwitterSnoop Dogg has expressed his interest in buying Twitter while Elon Musk’s deal faces troubles and he’s dropping ideas like it’s 2004. In early April, Elon Musk made a sizable purchase of Twitter shares to the tune of three billion dollars. Just weeks later, it was announced that the Tesla founder came to an agreement with Twitter for him to purchase the whole site. However, on May 13, Musk revealed that the deal was placed on hold “pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users.” Apparently, Snoop Dogg wants to do more than be a part of FaZe Clan because he’s now expressed interest in buying the platform and fans are absolutely loving his ideas. Snoop Dogg wants to purchase Twitter Just hours after the news broke regarding Elon Musk’s pending deal to acquire the platform, Snoop Dogg tweeted: “May have 2 buy Twitter now.” He didn’t stop there, as he quickly began sharing his hilarious ideas with his 20m+ followers. “Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung, and the guy with the ponytail on CNBC,” he tweeted. Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and tha guy with the ponytail on CNBC. — Snoop Dogg (@SnoopDogg) May 13, 2022 He also explained that he would use the purchase to provide free internet on airplanes. It’s not exactly clear how owning a social media platform would allow him to make this change, but who are we to question Snoop Dogg? Snoop also echoed Musk’s verification idea and explained that everyone gets a blue checkmark — except bots. “F**k those bots,” he exclaimed. Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs n just say “Hello”. Nah fuck those bots. — Snoop Dogg (@SnoopDogg) May 13, 2022 Shortly after Snoop began sharing his ideas, the CNBC Halftime report actually responded to his calls for the “Guy with the ponytail.” “Hey, @SnoopDogg sounds like @petenajarian is interested. Our DMs are open,” they replied. Hey @SnoopDogg, sounds like @petenajarian is interested. Our DMs are open. pic.twitter.com/2xMitIQDSZ — CNBC Halftime Report (@HalftimeReport) May 13, 2022 Thousands of others are all for the idea, and some are even calling for Snoop to bring his longtime friend Martha Stewart on as Chief Ethics Officer. Unfortunately for fans of the rapper, Musk has made it clear that he is “still committed to acquisition.” So in order for Snoop Dogg to buy Twitter, Elon would have to back out. Because if something happens to the Tesla founder, he already said MrBeast could have the keys.

Snoop Dogg reveals why he’s betting on Jake Paul to win August fight YouTube: IMPAULSIVE / Instagram: Jake PaulRap legend Snoop Dogg is in Jake Paul’s corner for his upcoming boxing match this August — and he’s even willing to put some major money on the YouTube star. Jake Paul is the undisputed face of YouTube boxing. The social media star and former Disney kid has racked up an undefeated 5-0 record… and he’s only just beginning his pro career. Paul’s next bout is slated for this coming August, although his opponent has yet to be announced less than three months out. According to ‘The Problem Child,’ a number of possible boxing stars are on the docket, including the likes of Mike Tyson and Canelo Alvarez… but no matter who his rival might be, Snoop has made it clear that he’s in Jake’s corner. Snoop Dogg is already betting on Jake Paul’s next boxing match Snoop Dogg made an appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast on May 24, where he discussed a slew of trending topics — including Jake’s upcoming fight. When the subject arose, Snoop made no bones about his support for the younger Paul brother, saying that he’s already bet money on the rising boxing star even though his opponent hasn’t been revealed. “You know I f**k with your bro, man,” the rapper said. “I been bettin’ on him, I been rocking with him, you understand me? I been going against the grain, f**king with Jake, you hear me? F**k y’all! (Topic begins at 10:27) Snoop has been in Jake’s corner for some time, even providing color commentary for the YouTuber’s 2021 bout against Ben Askren. There’s no telling if the rapper will return to the mic for any of Jake’s future bouts, but it’s almost certain that fans would love it.

Snoop Dogg shows off ridiculous Xbox Series X refrigerator and bling – Dexerto
Snoop Dogg shows off ridiculous Xbox Series X refrigerator and bling Microsoft / Instagram, @SnoopDoggMicrosoft has gifted Snoop Dogg an absurd Xbox Series X fridge, filled with customized bling, gin and juice, a lot of eggs, and, to top it all off, a custom Xbox cake with a message for their “Xbox OG.” [jwplayer 91I9RIGm] Calvin ‘Snoop Dogg’ Broadus is a cultural icon for his work in the music industry, but also an avid football fan and gamer. Seen playing Madden 21 (on Xbox, of course) against Dr Disrespect recently, Microsoft seems to have decided it’s time to up the ante for their longtime supporter just days after his birthday. On the same day that Sony announced a new PlayStation strategic creative partnership with Travis Scott, Snoop released a video in which he showed what kind of goods Microsoft has hooked him up with. He records a massive greenscreen-filled room with a novelty centerpiece: a gigantic Xbox Series X, logo lit on the top-left corner. Then, he opens it up and, like a kid unwrapping a birthday present, reveals the curated goodies encased within the big box. Snoop Dogg has an Xbox Series X fridge pic.twitter.com/7SUCJYdk36 — Wario64 (@Wario64) October 24, 2020 Snoop’s birthday was on October 20 and Microsoft most certainly did not forget to keep the Grammy-nominated artist’s big day circled on their calendar. As he approaches the fridge, he gives a nonchalant suggestion as to what the monolith is: “brand-new fridge from Xbox.” Then, he opens it up and reveals precisely how individually oriented Microsoft’s team had gotten with their presents. For one, the fridge is stocked with enough gin (of Snoop’s own brand, Indoggo) and juice to last a lifetime (or one really good party). But the top shelf bears even more signature goodies. A custom, Xbox Series X-shaped cake stands on the top shelf, with “Happy Birthday to the Xbox OG” written with icing. Surrounding the baked good is some more ice, as the chilled shelves are also covered in shiny Xbox-branded chains. Oh, and one of the next-gen consoles also sits aside the cake. While Snoop appears to have received his Russian nesting doll of Xbox Series X monoliths early, others will likely need to wait. The console isn’t set to release until November 10, 2020, at which point fans will be able to plug it into their televisions and get to gaming. Although fans of Snoop and Microsoft might be tempted, after seeing this video, to bring the console to their kitchen instead of the living room, this is probably less advisable.

Snoop Dogg, D’Amelio sisters & Pete Davidson to commentate Triller’s celebrity boxing matches – Dexerto
Snoop Dogg, D’Amelio sisters & Pete Davidson to commentate Triller’s celebrity boxing matches Instagram, @snoopdogg, @jakepaul, @charlidamelioTriller Fight Club’s Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren boxing match continues to ramp up the starpower, with an announcement that celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson, and Charli and Dixie D’Amelio will be commentating the event. A week ago, some performers were announced for the Triller Fight Club Paul vs. Askren bout. Like the fighters themselves, these musicians are quite noteworthy as well, including Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and Saweetie. Now, the commentators have been revealed in a press release. For the April 17 fight, comedian and actor Pete Davidson will be joined by TV host Mario Lopez, supermodel Taylor Hill, the TikTok superstar D’Amelio sisters, and rapper-turned-cultural-icon Snoop Dogg. Of course, some renowned boxing analysts are also in tow, with Ray Flores, Al Bernstein, and Mike Coppinger rounding out what is most certainly an eclectic commentary cast. https://twitter.com/HipHopDX/status/1332918297000460289 As far as the celebrities go, Snoop Dogg is easily the most accomplished within the boxing community. Namely because the former football coach and avid Madden player has experience commentating around the ring, during Jake Paul and Nate Robinson’s fight. Fans loved Snoop’s commentary during that quick bout, with his “Goodnight, Irene” and “Ooh, lawd” calls getting serious commendations across the internet. It remains unknown if he has worked with Davidson, Lopez, Hill, or the D’Amelio sisters to teach them the ways learned in his limited experience. It’s official😈. April 17th. @triller Fight Club. pic.twitter.com/eYcaTOJhlt — Jake Paul (@jakepaul) January 26, 2021 The fight was agreed upon back in April, but the trash talk and attendees have only amped up in the time since then. With a star-studded cast of performers and commentators, fans should be delighted to know that the fighters aren’t the only ones getting in on the action. Back on March 15, Snoop Dogg responded to UFC president Dana White’s confidence in Askren. After White professed he would put $1 million on Askren, Snoop told him to raise that to $2 million and he would bet on “my guy, Jake.” With under a month until the big event, there’s still time for Snoop to get into the broadcast booth and practice lines with his fellow celebrity commentators. We’ll keep an eye on any bets that emerge as well, especially if the D’Amelio sisters put money on their fellow internet influencer.

Transitioning from a full-time content creator to a hopeful boxer, Paul has scored three victories in the ring, even taking out former NBA star Nate Robinson last November. However, Paul has yet to throw down with a “true” fighter, making his upcoming bout with former UFC star Ben Askren quite an intriguing proposition. In fact, the fight has gained such a wide amount of attention that UFC president Dana White put $1 million on Askren coming out on top. “Let’s be honest, Jake Paul isn’t a ****ing boxer. He’s a YouTube kid,” White said of the bout during an episode of Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast — a statement that both Tyson and pro boxer Zab Judah didn’t seem to agree with. It appears that Snoop Dogg is also contesting White’s now-viral opinion, as he called out the UFC prez in a pointed video on the subject and even challenged him to up the ante by another million dollars. “Hey Dana White, I see you got faith in your boy, right?” Snoop challenged, as reported by TMZ. “Going up against my guy Jake. You say you got a million? You’re the CEO of UFC. You got more than a million. Put up two. Put up $2 million, and we’ll match it.” Thus far, Dana White has yet to respond to Snoop’s callout video, but the rapper isn’t the only one to have doubled up on his bet; Jake Paul himself did the same after viewing the Hotboxin’ podcast, claiming he would put $2 million on his chances of winning over Askren. Askren, however, has reacted to Snoop’s $2 million challenge, slamming the rapper for not having a real grasp on boxing. “Oh god, did anyone who listened to Snoop Dogg’s commentary of the last fights think he has any understanding of boxing?” the mixed martial artist tweeted. “Because he was totally clueless. Funny, but clueless.” Oh god did anyone who listened to @SnoopDogg commentary of the last fights think he has any understanding of boxing?? Bc he was totally clueless. Funny, but clueless. https://t.co/7XWM0IZ7LL — Funky (@Benaskren) March 12, 2021 For now, it remains to be seen if White will take Snoop’s offer, but that isn’t stopping fans from keeping an eagle eye on his social accounts just in case he does.

SNL TikTok skit with Billie Eilish mocks viral trends – Dexerto
SNL TikTok skit with Billie Eilish mocks viral trends YouTube: SNL/TikTokSaturday Night Live, once again, took some shots at TikTok using a pretty hilarious sketch involving Billie Eilish and the endless scrolling through the For You Page. Over the last few years, TikTok has become one of the most popular social media apps, with many users making it a part of their daily routine to scroll the For You Page for a decent chunk of time. As a result of the increasing popularity, it’s become increasingly mainstream – with TikTok stars appearing on talk shows, getting their own TV shows, and even partnering with companies for their own branded products. That increasing popularity has also meant the app has become a source of inspiration for many jokes, including from Saturday Night Live, who have regularly poked fun at the video-sharing platform. Alongside musical guest Billie Eilish, the ensemble of comedians once again poked fun at the app during their December 11 episode of SNL, with a pretty funny skit. The sketch parodied quite a few trends and popular posts – including some terrible self-defense advice, fans of movies breaking down trailers frame-by-frame, the Island Boys phenomenon, and also having people dance while at work. The latter of which was what Eilish got involved with, as she played a nurse who couldn’t help but drop it down even though one of her patients was ‘dying’ in the background. Naturally, the patient pulled through, which gave the musician the chance to ‘post’ another clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8jHMyNBMYU “I could watch this for hours,” said one impressed viewer. “We honestly need one of these Tiktok updates every month,” added another. “That felt like scrolling through TikTok in a fever dream, that was so hilarious,” commented another. Obviously, the cast of SNL keep their skits fresh but if anything takes over TikTok on a wild scale, we’ll probably see them poke fun at it again before long. Clearly fans love it, so they’ll keep it coming.

SNL skit parodying TikTokers’ meeting with the White House divides internet – Dexerto
SNL skit parodying TikTokers’ meeting with the White House divides internet YouTube: Saturday Night LiveSaturday Night Live has parodied The White House’s meeting with 30 TikTokers about the Ukraine conflict, and while some loved the cold open, others weren’t such a fan. On March 10, 30 popular TikTok influencers were invited to a Zoom meeting with White House press secretary Jen Psaki, among others. They were briefed on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, due to TikTok becoming a source of information for many. In a March 12 episode of Saturday Night Live, the cast parodied this meeting between influencers and the White House in their cold open. James Austin Johnson played President Biden, and he was joined by a host of ‘influencers,’ including a CW actor, ‘Jason Derulo,’ a prankster, and Charles F. D’Amelio. “People are saying this is the first war fought on TikTok, which is tough for me because I’m the landline of presidents,” Johnson as Biden said. Some viewers enjoyed the parody, with one commenter writing: “I have to admit that is one of the best cold openings I’ve seen in years.” Others described the skit as “hilarious.” However, others were not a fan of the cold open, sharing their thoughts on social media. “Opener tonight is tragic,” one user wrote, claiming the current situation isn’t something to joke about “even on SNL.” Another said: “Cringey, guys. Not even remotely funny.” This isn’t the first time SNL has parodied a big event in the social media world. In April 2021 after the Vlog Squad controversy, they mocked YouTuber David Dobrik with their own fake influencer Marky Munro, in a video that went on to get millions of views. They also parodied the TikTok For You Page later in December, with Billie Eilish joining in on recreating some classic trends from the app.

SNL appears to mock David Dobrik in YouTuber apology skit – Dexerto
SNL appears to mock David Dobrik in YouTuber apology skit YouTube: SNL / David DobrikSaturday Night Live has released a new skit mocking YouTuber apologies, and many viewers believe it was inspired by David Dobrik’s recent controversy. With the increasing presence of YouTuber and TikTokers in the entertainment world, it’s no longer unusual to see some famous faces for the internet pop up on mainstream TV. Plenty of online stars have made appearances on late-night talk shows to promote their upcoming projects, and it’s becoming more normal to see the worlds collide. However, many were surprised to find that the recent controversy involving YouTuber David Dobrik had been developed into a sketch for Saturday Night Live. David was the subject of controversy after sexual abuse allegations were made against Vlog Squad members, and former members of the group claimed that they had been tricked into “traumatizing” content by Dobrik. This led to the internet personality releasing a series of apology videos in which he addressed the allegations after he was dropped by several key sponsors. Now, SNL has made a skit about YouTuber apologies, that many believe has been inspired by the Vlog Squad Controversy. Read More: Most controversial YouTuber apologies – The video is titled ‘Viral Apology Video,’ and stars Daniel Kaluuya and Kyle Mooney. The fake YouTuber is named ‘Marky Munro,’ and he’s shown to be making crazy videos with his group that he calls the ‘Prank Posse.’ In the sketch, Marky makes an apology video addressing “things from [his] past that have come to light.” After dropping a TV on his friend’s head as part of a prank, he later goes on to make an additional apology video in which he tears up, using some classic YouTube apology phrases. The final apology video ‘Marky’ releases in the skit shows him address criticism over a kissing prank, which could be a reference to allegations made by Seth Francois against Dobrik. The fake star also reveals that he lost his sponsorships, which has additional similarities with the Vlog Squad controversy. One commenter wrote: “I can’t get over how perfect the wig is. It’s David Dobrik’s shape but Logan Paul’s color. SNL’s hair and makeup department is mental. Another added: “You know David Dobrik messed up big time when SNL is making jokes about him.” The segment came as a surprise to many, who didn’t expect this situation to reach SNL.

SNL TikTok skit perfectly recreates FYP again and fans love it – Dexerto
SNL TikTok skit perfectly recreates FYP again and fans love it YouTube: Saturday Night LiveSaturday Night Live has recreated the iconic TikTok For You Page in a new skit, and fans are loving the perfect take on the popular social media app. Within the past few years, TikTok has become one of the most used social media apps out there, with millions of daily users uploading and interacting with content, and new accounts being made every day. The majority of the time, people choose to view content on the app through its algorithm-based For You Page, or FYP, which aims to show users the content that they most want to see. In December 2021, SNL recreated the TikTok FYP in skit with singer Billie Eilish, which garnered over six million views on YouTube. It was such a big success that in April 2022 they decided to do the sketch again, this time starring Lizzo, and fans are already loving it. The actors recreated everything from bizarre POVs, pranks, song covers, and some were so convincing that they could have been pulled straight from the app. They even recreated the viral TikTok sound of Miranda Cosgrove on the Good For You Podcast saying “I actually do cuss a little,” which went hugely viral on the app in March. Lizzo played the role of Cosgrove in that particular section, and she even danced to a version of the viral remix that Miranda danced to on TikTok later on in the skit, much to fans’ delight. Many viewers loved the sketch, and couldn’t believe how accurate it was to the actual experience of scrolling through your For You Page. “These sketches so accurately capture what it’s like scrolling TikTok and it makes me laugh so hard,” one YouTube comment with over 2000 likes read. “SNL is killing it with these TikToks,” another commenter said, with someone else saying: “The overwhelming accuracy of how chaotic that app is is my favorite.” This isn’t the first time that SNL has parodied huge moments on the internet. In March they did a skit about a group of influencers’ meeting with The White House, and back in 2021 they parodied the David Dobrik controversy.

Sneako says he wants to fight MoistCr1TiKal “at any weight class” YouTube: SneakoIn the latest update between the Sneako and MoistCr1TiKal feud, the former has gone on record and said he would like to “fight” MoistCr1TiKal at some point in the future. The feud between Charlie ‘MoistCr1TiKal’ White and Nico Kenn De Balinthazy, better known on the internet as ‘Sneako’, has hit a boiling point in recent days. The two content creators exchanged heated words online as well as in their own separate content. Now however, Sneako has revealed that he is willing to put his money where his mouth is and go toe-to-toe with MoistCr1TiKal in the ring. During Adin Ross’ recent stream, Ross called Sneako live to discuss the recent updates regarding his online feud with MoistCr1Tikal. While talking to the content creator on the phone Sneako insulted Charlie by saying: “Look at me and look at him, who’s more likely to be on a watchlist.” After saying this, Sneako then admitted that he would be willing to get in the ring with MoistCr1TiKal and fight him. “I would very much like to fight him at any point and at any weight class. I would walk up to him and I would look him dead in the eye and say, all that stuff you said in your videos say it to my face right now and I know that he would freeze up and not say a word.” This all comes from comments Charlie made back in November 2022 as a response to Sneako’s actions and behavior at the time. Sneako was originally a YouTube-based content creator. However, he had his channel terminated in 2022 for “severe or repeated violations of YouTube’s TOS.” He now streams and uploads videos elsewhere. Given that the two have been going back and forth constantly for days now, there is likely to be a follow-up from Moist about Sneako’s challenge to hop in the ring. Sneako demolished by UFC fighter Sean Strickland in bloody sparring session – Dexerto
Sneako demolished by UFC fighter Sean Strickland in bloody sparring session Rumble: SNEAKOSneako called out former UFC middleweight champion Sean Stricklan to a sparring match but ended up suffering from a heavily bleeding nose after Strickland demolished him. Sneako has been quite the controversial figure since his rise to fame. The rumble streamer has engaged in beef with many other popular influencers, like MoistCr1TiKal and Bradley Martin, but this time chose a professional fighter to confront. His fighter of choice was Sean Strickland, who in 2023 gained the Middleweight Championship belt after a surprise upset victory against Israel Adesanya. Strickland is also no stranger to the social media space, having been on the Joe Rogan (who recently secured a massive deal with Spotify) podcast, gaining popularity for his brutal attitude towards fighting and sparring. So, Sneako found out first-hand why other fighters, like Jake Shields, recommended against the “bad idea” of sparring against Strickland. Sneako rescued from Sparring beating The sparring session was held inside an MMA octagon at the UFC Performance Institute and streamed on Rumble. For the first two minutes, Strickland let the streamer show off his boxing skills and jab Sean lightly to the body and head, all the while teasing the streamer. “Let’s see the influencer,” said Strickland. “Are you gonna be a f**king man? […] You’re about to feel a significantly more amount of pain.” When the round clock hit the 2-minute mark, Strickland stopped teasing Sneako and fired heavy straights, hooks, and uppercuts at the streamer. Sneako’s team saw the punches rocking Sneako and threw in multiple white towels, which would usually stop the fight or spar, but Strickland continued. Eventually, with Sneako curled up on the defensive, bleeding out of his nose, former UFC fighter Forrest Griffin stepped in to stop the fight. While Sneako gained praise from fans for not getting knocked out in the sparring match, people are sure that it will be quite a while before he asks for another spar with a UFC fighter.

Sneako hits back after Sidemen brand him as most hated US streamer – Dexerto
Sneako hits back after Sidemen brand him as most hated US streamer YouTube: SneakoSneako hit back at the Sidemen after they listed him as one of the most hated American streamers during a recent podcast. The controversial content creator, who streams primarily on Rumble, came under fire from the British group while they discussed who their least favorite streamers from America were, listing Sneako alongside Adin Ross, one of Kick’s biggest streamers. It’s not the first time Sneako and the Sidemen have clashed. KSI and Sneako have repeatedly fought on social media, to the point where a boxing match between the two has repeatedly been floated. Sidemen list Adin Ross and Sneako as their most hated streamers During an episode of the Sidemen podcast, KSI asked the crew who the most hated US streamer was. While the initial answer was Adin Ross, Sneako was also discussed, with the Sidemen saying: “Most people would say Adin Ross, but you could say Sneako, because he’s trying to diss us.” Sneako reacted to the insult during his Rumble stream, and wasted no time in hitting back, saying: “Who the f*ck are you? Older Neon? Who are you? Who’s this dude? I don’t know anyone here.” He then proceeded to make fun of KSI’s use of a racial slur on stream earlier this year, which caused significant backlash against the Sidemen. “KSI is just mad that he doesn’t have any freedom of speech. You’re mad that you can’t be funny anymore, because you have to go do WWE stuff and bad podcasts and everything is PR-trained. You’re just mad! Sorry, you don’t have freedom of speech and you’re not funny anymore and you used to be.” For more news and updates on Sneako, check out his heated exchange with Andrew Tate about his relationships with OnlyFans girls.

Sneako says Adin Ross wants to form content house with him & Fousey – Dexerto
Sneako says Adin Ross wants to form content house with him & Fousey YouTube: SneakoRumble star Sneako says that Adin Ross wants to form a content house that may include Sneako, Fousey, and others. Over the last decade, quite a few influencers across social media have taken part in some form of a content house. Jake Paul created his infamous Team 10 house, while OfflineTV also had their own influencer home – and of course, you can’t forget the infamous TikTok Hype House. Sneako recently shared that Adin Ross wants to create the latest influencer content house alongside Sneako, Fousey, and more. Sneako, Adin Ross, Fousey & more might form content house In a recent live stream, Sneako mentioned that he has never lived in a content house before. “I think it would be a good way to switch things up, you know? Adin wants us to live in a content house. What do you guys think? I know there’s not a huge overlap in the audience right now,” he said. “I think he wants it to be me, Neon, Cheeser, Adin, and maybe Fousey.” Sneako’s viewers made it clear they would love to see him live with Adin Ross, and others on social media shared their thoughts, as well. “Don’t add Fousey, or that will be the end of it… The dude is toasted,” one user mentioned. Another viewer said: “That would be pure chaos.” “Oh god. Haha it would be entertaining,” a third user commented. Fousey has been in the news quite a bit, and most recently was put in the hospital for a mental health evaluation after he was arrested on stream. Adin Ross has made it clear that he wants to help Fousey once he gets out, but we’ll have to wait to see what happens.

Sneako hits back after Andrew Tate slams him over OnlyFans girls – Dexerto
Sneako hits back after Andrew Tate slams him over OnlyFans girls Rumble: Sneako / Andrew TateSneako and Andrew Tate are in the midst of an online feud after Tate questioned Sneako’s content for freaturing OnlyFans models, calling the streamer a “moron” and a “clown.” Sneako and Andrew Tate are two highly divisive online creators. Tate has become an infamous figure around the world and is currently being investigated by Romanian authorities on charges of human trafficking, rape, and organized criminal activity. Sneako, on the other hand, is not as infamous — but he has made quite a name for himself on social media as another inflammatory commentator. Sneako and Tate have been at the center of an unexpected feud that has divided their fanbases, and that feud recently reached another level. Andrew Tate calls Sneako & N3on “clowns” and “morons” The issue began during one of Tate’s recent podcasts, where the former kickboxer ripped into Sneako for using OnlyFans models to promote his content. “Well, OnlyFans girls need attention to sell their OnlyFans, and losers need attention to sell their stream,” he said, speaking about Sneako and his collaborator, N3on. “And none of them have any talent.” “I don’t think I am ever gonna be surprised at how low they will sink,” he continued. “And if hanging around with OnlyFans girls is gonna get them some attention on the internet, they’re gonna do it.” Tate went on to call the duo “clowns” and “morons” who “degrade” themselves for views — comments that Sneako seemingly didn’t take a liking to. Sneako responds to Andrew Tate calling him a “clown” Sneako has since unfollowed Tate on social media as a result of his remarks and made a statement in response to the issue during a live stream. Although Sneako claimed he had “some disagreements with the messenger,” he admitted that he “resonated with a lot of what [Tate] said.” “Do I think it makes sense to go insulting, name-calling, and belittling the work I do? No. Does that make me want to go and criticize and call out hypocrisy? Yes, but I think there’s something more important right now.” Sneako went on to address the ongoing conversation around he and Tate’s content in relation to a recent murder case in England, where the stabbing of a teen girl has been blamed by commentators on the two creators. “Hearing that [Tate’s comments], I was surprised,” Sneako continued. “It’s just like, right now, out of all times? You’re seeing that both of us are being blamed for murder. …I don’t wanna keep dividing.”

Sneaker reseller goes viral after losing $20k on True Blue Jordan 1s – Dexerto
Sneaker reseller goes viral after losing $20k on True Blue Jordan 1s Twitter: JustFreshKicksA shoe reseller went viral after stocking up on plenty of True Blue Jordan 1s sneakers before learning that his investment had lost him around $20,000. Reselling popular commodities and brand or scarce items for a higher market price is a tactic referred to as “scalping”, and it usually is frowned upon by normal consumers who often have no alternative to paying the exorbitant prices of resellers utilizing the tactic. Lately, KSI spoke out about people reselling his and Logan Paul’s energy drink, showcasing that not only is the practice difficult to combat, but it can affect any item, even a drink. But buying something in demand doesn’t automatically mean you can profit off of it on resale since some items lose value immediately after being released to the market. This happened to the unlucky person hoping to resell some True Blue Jordan 1s that he bought at retail. “I invested in all these Jordan 1s at retail and look how much down they are. They are at like a $160, I’m sick, I just lost like $20,000, I’m so upset,” commented the reseller in question as seen in a video posted by JustFreshKick on Twitter. Reseller mocked over Jordans investment The replies to the tweet show just how much this practice of reselling is frowned upon, as very few people replied with any words of encouragement for the reseller. “Love to see resellers have losses,” “That’s what you get”, and a picture featuring Meek Mill’s lyric “I used to pray for times like this” are just some of the top liked responses to the Tweet mocking the investment. Some others pointed out that the $20,000 loss is unlikely to be the final tally for this reseller though. “He didn’t lose $20k, he can just sell for retail and get his money back or sell on apps and lose 10% of his initial capital so around $2k loss,” replies another user before providing screenshots showing that the resale price of True Blue Jordan 1s’ is still very similar to the initial price they were sold at.

Sneako dominated by another UFC fighter as Merab Dvalishvili slaps him up – Dexerto
Sneako dominated by another UFC fighter as Merab Dvalishvili slaps him up Rumble: SneakoSneako has been slapped around once again by another UFC Fighter as Merab Dvalishvili dominated him in a round of sparring. Sneako has long been a controversial figure since his rise to fame, especially with his infamous beef with MoistCr1TiKal, during which he was challenged to a boxing match. Trying to prove his toughness, Sneako has recently taken to gyms around America. Though rather than fighting similarly skilled opponents, he’s been getting whooped by UFC champs and rising stars alike. Just earlier this month former Middleweight champ Sean Strickland demolished the social media figure. And now, in yet another lopsided sparring match, Sneako once again was dominated by another UFC Fighter, with Merab Dvalisvhili slapping around the influencer. Streamed live on his Rumble channel, Sneako got into a sparing match with Dvalishvili only to be met with a flurry of open-palm strikes while the fighter largely humiliated the influencer. Sneako did try to run away from Dvalishvili for a few moments, however, being the seasoned fighter and expert grappler that he is, Dvalishvili easily caught him. “You want to be fighter?” Dvalishvili can be heard saying as he put Sneako in a chokehold. Luckily unlike his fight with Strickland, Dvalisvhili seemed to have come into the sparring match without any intent of completely taking out the influencer, as open-palm strikes would cause less damage, much like his submissions. At least, that’s compared to Strickland’s all-out flurry of brutal strikes. In fact, much of Sneako’s stream with Dvasvhili was the fighter teaching Sneako how to become a better grappler, such as teaching him the proper ways of doing chokeholds or how to do take-downs. However, the result of the spar was most likely less than desired for the influencer. “Bro’s on a mission to get bullied by ever fighter on the roster,” one viewer said of Sneako’s sparring match with Dvasvhili. “Why’s bro doing him worse than Sean did?” another said.

Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr pay off entire room of college grads student loans – Dexerto
Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr pay off entire room of college grads student loans Snapchat/YouTube: Otis College of Art and DesignA group of graduating college students were overjoyed to learn that their student loans had been paid off by Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel and his wife, supermodel Miranda Kerr. Evan Spiegel was just 25-years-old when he became a billionaire after launching Snapchat with his fellow Stanford University alumnus Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown. However, he has shown his philanthropist side on many occasions. Whether that be donating millions of dollars to charity or when he set up the non-profit organization Snap Foundation, which seeks to build creative economic pathways for underrepresented youths in Los Angeles. Adding to his list of good deeds, Spiegel and Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr helped an entire group of university graduates with their economic worries. Spiegel and Kerr pay off college grads’ tuition fees 285 students at the Otis College of Art and Design were blown away after they learned that their tuition had been paid off by Spiegel and Kerr during their graduation ceremony. With Spiegel and Kerr both attending the event in person, the announcement was made by the school’s president Charles Hirschhorn. “We know that for most of you and your families the sheer burden of student debt is a heavy price that you paid for an exceptional Otis College education,” Hirschhorn said. “We understand that this debt can compromise your future and limit your creative ambitions. We do not want to see this happen.” He continued: “So, we are pleased to announce today that Evan and Miranda, through their Spiegel Family Fund, have made the largest single gift in the history of Otis College. Their gift will enable you to repay your student loans.” Unsurprisingly, the room erupted with applause as the students celebrated the news. However, it was more than the college’s previous largest donation which was $10 million. Spiegel has a particular soft spot for Otis as he took summer design classes at the university before going to Stanford and making his billions with Snapchat. According to the L.A. Times, Spiegel said to the budding graduates: “It is a privilege for our family to give back and support the Class of 2022, and we hope this gift will empower graduates to pursue their passions, contribute to the world, and inspire humanity for years to come.”

Snapchat influencer creates an AI version of herself and charges people to date it – Dexerto
Snapchat influencer creates an AI version of herself and charges people to date it Instagram: Caryn MarjorieA Snapchat influencer has been making waves recently after revealing that she has begun using OpenAI to create a virtual version of herself, with the content creator then charging $1 per minute to allow people to pretend to be in a relationship with her. AI has become a massive thing in recent months, in large part due to the likes of ChatGPT and other similar services. And while this is a massive step forward for the technology, some of the biggest names in the industry are concerned about the emergence of products such as the aforementioned ones. This concern is largely due to the way in which this technology is being utilized and adopted by people. For example, a new Reddit thread has revealed that a young 23-year-old Snapchat influencer has begun using OpenAI as a type of girlfriend service. Caryn Majorie has over 1.8 million followers on Snapchat and she now has thousands of boyfriends thanks to her new AI self. In essence, the Snapchat content creator has created an AI version of herself using the software. She has then begun charging users $1 per minute to use the AI to pretend to be their girlfriend. One Reddit user commented on the thread, liking the situation to something out of Blade Runner. “Dude, a lot of our world is running full speed into blade runner territory. A few elite super-rich people above the law, own the authorities. Robots/AI eliminating 2/3rds of the jobs. Ruined environment. Everyone is basically miserable and can’t escape their lives.” Others are concerned at how quickly people are turning to AI-generated loved ones and friends instead of developing and pursuing real human relationships. “I think an overwhelming amount of people would choose to have an AI friend or significant other if it meant stability and an improvement in their lives in terms of happiness. When I think of this stuff, I think of the movie Her and honestly it doesn’t sound so bad sometimes if we had a world like that.” Time will tell if this type of content becomes more popular and accessible as AI continues to evolve. However, it appears that the seeds have been well and truly planted. For all the latest entertainment news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

Snake hunter slammed by viewers after battling 19ft Burmese python captured in Florida – Dexerto
Snake hunter slammed by viewers after battling 19ft Burmese python captured in Florida Glades Boys Python Adventures/InstagramA snake hunter has wrestled and caught the longest Burmese python ever to be documented in Florida. The man has since been slammed by viewers who claim it’s animal abuse. In recent years, Burmese Pythons have reportedly damaged wildlife in Florida as they do not belong in that specific ecosystem and pose a threat to native wildlife, according to USGS. Because of this, snake hunters in the area are doing their best to capture the Burmese Pythons in order to conserve the rest of the wildlife in the area. Some of these snake hunters, such as the Glades Boys Python Adventures have documented their snake hunting adventures. The group has now shared how they captured what ended up being the biggest Burmese python ever captured in the USA. Snake hunters wrestle biggest snake ever found in US The video, taken in the Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida, shows snake hunter Jake Waleri, 22, grab the 125lb python by the neck after it lunges at him with open jaws. Waleri grapples with the python, which is as long as an adult giraffe is tall, and wrestles it to the ground as onlookers exclaim: “Oh my God! Let’s go!” Another man asks: “Have you got tape on you? I know you carry tape,” as they subdue the female snake and wrap tape around her jaws shortly after. They wrote on Instagram: “Here’s a longer version of the record-breaking capture video. Luckily @thepythonhuntress Amy was cruising by just as we got ahold of the snake. Getting that bite out of the equation was a huge relief when she taped up the mouth. We all feel extremely blessed to come across a python of this caliber and I want to give a big thank you to all those involved.” In Florida, catching and killing Burmese pythons is legal as they have no natural predators. The captured Burmese python is the longest ever found in the US, according to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. The previous record in Florida was 18ft 9in. Fans are hitting out at the snake hunters for animal cruelty Even though the snake hunters have been praised for their work by some, others have been more critical, and accused them of animal cruelty. One person wrote: “How could you all go to sleep peacefully knowing that you all murdered an exquisite animal? Humans are invasive to millions of species lets hunt humans too then? You all have no right, care to acknowledge all the concerned comments regarding the snakes killing or are you guys keep on ignoring them?” “Leave nature alone, you stupid kids,” another said. However, some are defending the snake hunters, with one person commenting: “Do you know how many native wildlife that had to kill to get to that size?? GREAT job guys!! Thanks for preserving our beautiful Everglades!!” A second person said: So incredible! Awesome! Face to face with a Python like a beast! Unbelievable!” “A win for conservation!” another person wrote.

Smash Ultimate pro Elegant accused of sexual misconduct and urinating on friend – Dexerto
Smash Ultimate pro Elegant accused of sexual misconduct and urinating on friend Twitter: Elegant_MattSmash Ultimate pro Elegant has been accused of sexual misconduct, followed by another accusation by a friend that she was sexually harassed and urinated on by him a year ago. Matt Fitzpatrick, also known as Elegant, has been accused of inappropriate touching and sexual advances towards a woman, while intoxicated. After Collision, Shannon has come out and spoken about how the incident made her uncomfortable and that Elegant was extremely drunk. Various people who were present have also begun sharing screenshots of conversations from the night and the day after, in which a recounting of Elegant’s behavior is discussed. Twitch streamer Sailor Magatron shared conversations between herself, Genesis and LTC, all of which allege Elegant acting in an aggressive and “obnoxious” manner. Sailor Magatron wrote in one of her messages that he had “acted a total fool and overstepped his boundaries in front of everyone.” Others have also stated that on this same night, Elegant was nearly “thrown out of Port 6 for being obnoxiously drunk” and that he was seen “pestering a minor.” And while people have been commenting online asking why this has all gone public, those involved claim that they tried handling the matter in private but that nothing ultimately came from that approach. Elegant had addressed the situation that transpired between himself and Shannon, confirming in a letter on TwitLonger that the two did “have sex.” He then goes on to admit that he does not remember certain parts of the night but confirms he was drinking alcohol over the weekend. At the end of the message he admits, “I do need to be held more accountable for my behavior while drinking and honestly won’t drink again at a Smash event after this.” Following the allegations about Elegant’s actions over the weekend, Twitch streamer and fellow Smash Ultimate player KayJetshadow made further public accusations, alleging that she faced unwanted sexual advancements and harassement from Elegant a year ago. On September 7, KayJetshadow posted a TwitLonger detailing her encounter with Elegant. In the letter, she says the two had been speaking online and struck up a friendship which then led to Elegant flying over to visit her in Texas. “He flew into town to ‘visit Texas’ and the SA area. I helped him find an Airbnb and I think even helped him pay for it? Don’t quote me on that. It’s a bit fuzzy. I was excited to hang with him. I’m not sure what I expected with a smasher and ‘normal conversations’ but the atmosphere was a bit awkward.” KayJetshadow goes on to talk about the first four days spent together while Elegant was visiting. “I was his escort everywhere for four days. We actually slept in the same air bnb a night or two. Nothing happened whatsoever. He was respectful of boundaries and so was I.” When KayJetshadow had other plans for the day, she asked her Smash Bros friends to hang out with Elegant while she was out. When spending time with her friends, Elegant apparently got so drunk that KayJetshadow had to drive and pick him up from her friend’s house. After picking him up, she says she brought him back to her parents’ house, by which point he was “drunk beyond consciousness.” When sleeping, KayJetshadow awoke to Elegant allegedly in bed with her, his genitalia out and urinating on her and the bed. KayJetShadow claims she had to forcefully push him away from her, as he was still intoxicated at the time. Elegant was dropped off at the airport a day early and sent KayJetshadow $600 after finding out that her mattress was ruined, according to the TwitLonger. At the end of her letter, KayJetshadow writes, “I’m above this drama and shit now. But he needs to be humbled. Alcoholism is not a joke. You can be a binge drinker alcoholic and that’s what it is. He needs help.” She does add at the end how Elegant is a good person when he thinks clearly. But he needs help when it comes to drinking. This incident is absolutely disgusting.” Elegant is yet to publicly comment on these allegations.

SMOSH parent company slammed with class-action lawsuit following sudden shutdown – Dexerto
SMOSH parent company slammed with class-action lawsuit following sudden shutdown Parent company of major YouTube comedy channel SMOSH, Defy Media, shut down without warning on November 6 – and now faces two separate lawsuits by a former employee and talent agency Generate Holdings. The first lawsuit, filed by former Defy employee Georgina Guinane, alleges that the company did not provide a 60 day notice before laying off its workforce, as required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. If won, this lawsuit would require Defy to pay its former employees their wages for 60 days of work. The second lawsuit is being filed by owners of talent agency Generate Holdings, who claim that Defy owe money to both themselves and Holdings, as a company. According to the lawsuit, when Generate merged with Defy, Defy began to collect fees from Generate’s clients before moving the funds to Generate, themselves. Additionally, Defy had allegedly urged Generate to remain with the company during talks of severing their relationship in 2017. However, those aren’t the only lawsuits being filed against Defy; media companies Shandy Media and Proper Media filed lawsuits asking for $150,000, respectively, while ViewAll Investments Limited is asking for $100,000. Furthermore, Defy likewise owes money to YouTubers underneath its umbrella, including members of comedy channel SMOSH, who announced that they will continue to create content while still looking for a new home. Since Defy’s sudden closure, a number of its affiliated YouTubers have come out with allegations against the company, such as Shane Dawson, Furious Pete, Anthony Padilla, and more.

Smash pro goes viral with first ever major event win using unlikely fighter – Dexerto
Smash pro goes viral with first ever major event win using unlikely fighter L: Nintendo. R: Twitter: TempoAxeSuper Smash Bros player Jeffrey ‘Axe’ Williamson was left in complete shock as thousands of new subscribers flooded to his Twitch channel, after he picked up his first major tournament win. While Smash Bros might not be the most lucrative of esports to compete in, its rabid fanbase and support means that players will always have a place to call home. The support of that scene was in full effect on June 16 as Axe claimed his first major event victory at Smash Summit 8, with droves of viewers piling into his Twitch channel to subscribe to him in celebration. The popular Smash pro had come close to securing his first major tournament win prior to Summit 8, but fell short with second-placed finishes at Genesis 6: Melee and Get on My Level 2019 earlier in the year. Nevertheless, he made a stellar run at Summit, defeating legendary names like Mang0 and Leffen, before taking on WizzRobe in the grand final. Despite the odds being stacked against him – mainly because he uses Pikachu instead of other, more powerful characters – the Tempo Storm star claimed victory over WizzRobe by knocking him off the stage to secure a 3-1 count after a bracket reset. Yet, it wasn’t just his tournament success that he had to smile about on the night, as his Twitch channel immediately began blowing up with subscriptions and follows. Read More: 10 new characters the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster needs As he celebrated his win, the Tempo Storm player sat in front of his viewers, clearly overcome with the emotion of securing his first Major victory. As he broke down in tears and sat in silence, a smaller box showed a crowd going wild for him – chanting Pikachu’s name over and over. Within an hour of his achievement, the popular Smash pro had racked up a few thousand new subscribers from the Twitch community. While Axe was able to finally the get monkey off his back and move from a second-place finisher to tournament champion, he didn’t have any success in the spin-off doubles tournament. He and his partner Masaya ‘aMSa’ Chikamoto finished tied 5th-6th, but that result clearly didn’t ruin a hugely successful weekend for Axe.

Smash star Hungrybox is parodying Hot Ones to get on the show – Dexerto
Smash star Hungrybox is parodying Hot Ones to get on the show Super Smash Bros star Juan ‘Hungrybox’ Debiedma has announced a Hot Ones parody show titled ‘Hot Juans,’ with the Team Liquid star hoping he can get noticed by First We Feast host Sean Evans and invited onto the popular YouTube show. Hungrybox, who is considered one of the five ‘Gods’ of Melee and first broke into the competitive scene in 2009, has expressed his interest in appearing on First We Feast’s wing-based talk show, and has created his own version in an effort to get noticed. “Hot Juans is not to be taken lightly or seriously,” Hungrybox’s disclaimer ahead of the video read. “It’s made under the context of satire, parody, and comedy. Remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” The disclaimer also had a promise — or maybe a lighthearted threat — from the Smash star to the Hot Ones founder: “We will continue making these episodes until I, Juan ‘Hungrybox’ Debiedma, am formally invited onto Hot Ones. The ball’s in your court, Sean.” Dediedma opened his debut episode of the parody series with one of the biggest names in the fight game scene, Echo Fox superstar Leondaro ‘MKLeo’ Perez, who was quick to express how nervous he was about eating a plateful of spicy wings. Read more: PaladinAmber throws Twitch chat ‘in the bin’ – “I’m kind of nervous, I haven’t eaten all day. I’m kind of excited,” Perez stated, and expanded on why his nerves were buzzing by simply stating “spicy” when investigated by the Hot Juans host. The two were soon tucking into the trays of wings covered in hot sauce, however, and MKLeo’s prediction about the spiciness of their meal quickly proved correct. The two were soon crying and battling through the heat as they discussed the SSB competitive scene. In the end, the Smash duo made it through their pile of wings, though it seemed like Hungrybox suffered just a little more than the usual Hot Ones host, a fact fans didn’t let him forget about. “This is hot ones if the host was suffering just as much as the guest and I am LIVING for it,” Chortle said in praise of TL’s new parody video, while Phamman expressed their excitement for more guests in the near future: “This was great. Can’t wait to see more players!” Considering just how perfect Dediedma gamertag is for the Hot Ones show, it seems only fitting that the Smash king would find his way to the same table as Sean Evans in the future. Either way though, fans win — either Hungrybox’s pleas to head onto the show are heard and he joins the First We Feast series for an episode, or the community is treated to more esports and games related ‘Hot Juans’ episodes. It really is a win-win situation.

Smash pro Hungrybox stunned after $1K Twitch donation for shirtless pic – Dexerto
Smash pro Hungrybox stunned after $1K Twitch donation for shirtless pic Twitch/HungryboxSuper Smash Bros Melee pro Juan ‘Hungrybox’ Debiedma was left speechless after a Twitch fan donated a whopping $1,000 for a signed shirtless picture of the fighting game star. While participating in a Melee tournament on January 10, Hungrybox was watching streams and interacting with his chat when suddenly one user asked a perplexing question. “Hbox, how much do I need to donate for a signed shirtless pic?” asked mogard, which prompted a bit of an eye raise from the Argentinian. After taking some time to think it through, Debiedma remarked, “that’s a question. No one’s ever asked me that. I thought I wasn’t that attractive apparently.” Eventually, the streamer decided to name his price. “You know what would be crazy? If someone donated $1,000 for it and then, you know what I would do? I’d send mogard the picture signed and then we’ll do a giveaway,” he laughed. “For the carbon copy, one of you will be lucky enough to have that.” With the price extremely steep, it’s unlikely the Smash God actually expected anyone to be bold enough to actually donate $1,000. However, if there is one thing Twitch streamers should know by now, it’s to never count their viewers out. Mere moments later, mogard himself decided to take matters into his own hands with the $1,000 donation and the perfect message for Hungrybox: “I’ve called your bluff.” Following this, Debiedma was in absolute shock, unable to speak, shout or even mote with the exception of burying his head in his hands. “Mogard, how old are you?” Hungrybox asked, finally able to put some words together after a moment of silence. “Jesus Christ. You actually just f**king do that? Oh my f**king. Oh my God! That just happened! This f**king happened.” I WON THE GALINT OPEN!!! FINALLY MY FIRST ONLINE MAJOR WIN! And first big Melee win since CEO2020!! And it was on 1/11 (Juan won one!) 🏆 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 pic.twitter.com/LavwQgYzYn — hungrybox (@LiquidHbox) January 11, 2021 The good fortune didn’t end there for Hungrybox either. The Smash pro ended up winning The Galint Open, securing his first Online Major and his biggest Melee victory since CEO 2020. The win opened up the floodgates leading to more subs, donations, and bits coming his way. Now, only time will tell if Hbox lives up to his end of the bargain and mogard ends up getting the signed shirtless picture.

Smash legend Mango slams Twitch after ban for “sexual content” – Dexerto
Smash legend Mango slams Twitch after ban for “sexual content” Cloud9Mango might be a Super Smash Bros Melee god, but his esports divinity hasn’t stopped him from being banned on Twitch for ‘sexual content,’ a move that left him and his fans angry and confused. Joseph Manuel Marquez, better known as Mang0, is a man who needs no introduction. Described as one of the “five gods” in Super Smash Bros. Melee, he’s been ranked as one of the top five players every year since rankings began in 2013. However, he’s also found success outside of his professional career on Twitch. His channel has almost 400,000 followers and 10,000 monthly subscribers, which makes him one of the more popular streamers on the platform. Naturally, Super Smash Bros. Melee is his most streamed game. However, he also streams everything from Chess to Rocket League and Valorant from time to time. But in an interesting turn of events, it seems like he’s been forced to take a short break after being slapped with a surprise ban. Mang0 broke the news on social media, and it’s clear he’s not thrilled about it. “Banned for 3 days from Twitch for ‘sexual content,’” he wrote in a tweet on March 30. “ROFLLLLLLLLLL. F***ing joke.” It’s unclear what the specific incident was. Nothing really stood out as overly sexual on his most recent Twitch broadcast. However, some fans believe it was the moment he ‘humped’ a Super Sonico anime figurine, days before. Banned for 3 days from twitch for “”Sexual content”” ROFLLLLLLLLLL fucking joke — 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 (@C9Mang0) March 29, 2021 Mang0 followed up his initial tweet with a reference to the bizarre ‘jacuzzi stream’ trend that recently took over the Just Chatting category, which has been criticized for “sexualizing” women. “Damn, LMAOOO,” he wrote, while sharing another stream’s post calling out some of the jacuzzi streams. It even included a screenshot of a pole dance stream, which many fans pointed out is a better fit for ‘sexual content’ than jokingly ‘humping’ a figurine. But unfortunately for Mang0, it seems like the trouble doesn’t end with a simple three-day ban. He posted another tweet implying that he’s lost at least one sponsor due to the incident. “Someone messaged my business email saying they no longer would like to work with me given the circumstances,” he wrote. Someone messaged my business email saying they no longer would like to work with me given the circumstances Just a dumb sexy drunk fuck now pic.twitter.com/3tQbFhnHsT — 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 (@C9Mang0) March 29, 2021 It’s a strange situation that’s gotten him and his fans riled up. However, although most people think the ban is undeserved, the good news is that it won’t last long. Plus, there’s always a chance it could be revoked. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next.

Smash pro Fatality loses all savings after “nightmare” robbery at gas station – Dexerto
Smash pro Fatality loses all savings after “nightmare” robbery at gas station YouTube, FatalityFalcon / Pexels, Isabella MendesFatality, a popular Super Smash pro and Twitch streamer, was robbed at a gas station after a recent tournament. In a disturbing Twitter thread, the iconic Captain Falcon main revealed how much he lost in the “nightmare scenario.” Griffin ‘Fatality’ Miller, one of the world’s best Super Smash competitors, has had to spend the last day and night dealing with police and banks. On July 4, he took to Twitter to explain that he was robbed after a tournament and lost everything. Stopping by a gas station, Fatality revealed that he was robbed by two people, before elaborating on just how far they went. Not only did they steal his phone, they made him unlock it, accessed all of his passwords, took his debit card, and withdrew all of his money. In the time since, Fatality has been dealing with the police, banks, and phone companies trying to fix some of the horrible situation. The incident is best explained by his Twitter thread, in which he tells his community what happened. Last night on the way home from a tournament, I got robbed by two guys at a gas station. They took my phone and unlocked it which has all my passwords and stuff saved on it, and took my debit card and withdrew all my money, leaving me with nothing. Nightmare scenario. — Griffin Miller 🔜 Momocon (@FatalityFalcon) July 4, 2021 I’ve filed a police report, and am working with my banks to try and reverse the damage, but I’m moving forward preparing for the worst. — Griffin Miller 🔜 Momocon (@FatalityFalcon) July 4, 2021 As Fatality explains, the robbery took place at night and in a gas station, with the robbers taking things in the moment but also the passwords needed to do even further damage. After the incident, he has filed a police report and is working with his financial institutions to “hopefully prevent them from damaging my life anymore.” While he is aiming to reverse some of the damage, the Smash pro contends that he is also “preparing for the worst.” In response to the incident, the Smash community has immediately rallied in support of Fatality and tried to minimize the damage. Hungrybox responded to the initial tweet telling him that, should all else fail, he should start a GoFundMe that HBox and others would be happy to “signal boost.” At this point, progress with the police and banks remains unclear, but we will update this piece when we know more. For now, fans and the Smash community are simply sending Fatality some love and hoping for some positive news.

Smash legend Mang0 got completely smashed during his birthday stream – Dexerto
Smash legend Mang0 got completely smashed during his birthday stream Twitch screenshot/TwitchIt’s far from unusual to celebrate a birthday with a few drinks in the company of friends but Joseph ‘Mang0’ Marquez seemingly took it one step further on his celebration stream. The legendary Smash professional was streaming the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game whilst having a few drinks with a friend. Clearly drunk, Mang0 slurred his words, removed his Philadelphia Eagles jersey and continued to drink some more. However, things got weirder from there. Drunkenly dancing on the spot, wearing nothing but a pair of yellow cactus-print bottoms, the Smash legend began dry humping the mini-fridge in his room. Yet, his drunken antics were not finished there. The two-time EVO champion turned his attention to his Mic and Pop filter and began dry humping that, too, with a massive smile on his face. Luckily, his pal – also on stream – covered the camera and launched a ‘be right back’ intermission screen. Despite his friend’s best efforts to cover the screen, the Cloud9 player continued with his hijinks before removing the mic from its stand and rubbing it on his friend’s head. Before long, Mang0 began to hunch over, eventually falling to the floor just off-screen. It’s not the first time Mang0 has been more than a bit tipsy on stream. While streaming Portal 2 on November 29, the Cloud9 pro went on a drunken rant about the state of Twitch. With Twitch staff watching on, Mang0 said “Wooo, fuck the Staff!” before asking to be banned from the live streaming platform. “Ban me. Please, ban me, I’ve been waiting for a ban. I wanna go,” he drunkenly stated. It is unknown if he has been warned about his actions from either the streaming platform or Cloud9 for either stream.

Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell dead at 56 years old – Dexerto
Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell dead at 56 years old YouTube: @smashmouthThe lead singer for Smash Mouth, Steve Harwell, has sadly died at the age of 56 after a long battle with liver failure. Today is a sad day in Rock and Roll history. It was reported earlier this week that the frontman for the legendary band Smash Mouth, Steve Harwell, was admitted into hospice care. Smash Mouth is mostly known through their hit singles All-Star and I’m A Believer, both of which were used in the first Shrek film. The music artist has had a long struggle with liver failure and was assumed to only have a few days left to live. Sadly, his time has come. Has Smash Mouth’s Steve Harwell died? The news was initially broken by Rolling Stone that Steve had sadly died at the young age of 56. The outlet received confirmation from the Smash Mouth band manager Robert Hayes. Steve Harwell, who cofounded the band Smash Mouth in 1994, has died at the age of 56. https://t.co/GC2YZi5BjJ — Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) September 4, 2023 “Steve Harwell was a true American Original. A larger than life character who shot up into the sky like a Roman candle. Steve should be remembered for his unwavering focus and impassioned determination to reach the heights of pop stardom. And the fact that he achieved this near-impossible goal with very limited musical experience makes his accomplishments all the more remarkable,” the manager told RS in a statement. Hayes confirmed the cause of death was a result of liver failure. He retired from music in 2021, so hopefully he was able to spend the last few years of his life with his friends and family. Nevertheless, Steve will definitely be missed by the Smash Mouth fanbase and Shrek fans, and will always be remembered as a true all-star. Super Smash Bros pro chugs glue live at LTC7 – Dexerto
Super Smash Bros pro chugs glue live at LTC7 Low Tier City, Twitch / NintendoLow-Tier city is hailed as Texas’ largest competitive Smash Bros tournament, bringing pros from across the country to compete for the title of LTC champion – but sometimes, the competition can get out of hand, as seen during one player’s hilarious on-stage popoff. Low-Tier City 7’s Day Two Singles matches kicked off with a hilarious moment between two players on stream – one of whom had a surprising plan in store in the middle of their set. Mii Swordfighter main ‘Mystic’ had just taken a game off of their opponent ‘8Bitman’ when they randomly pulled out a bottle of Elmer’s school glue from their pocket, much to the crowd’s confusion. What happened next was nothing short of jaw-dropping: Mystic squirted the glue directly into their mouth, casually guzzling a good portion of the stuff before triumphantly holding up the bottle for the audience to see. “Is that actual, literal Elmer’s glue?” one commentator asked. “Packaged $5.99? Oh my god!” While some onlookers were understandably worried for the Smash player’s stomach, Mystic assured that their innards were in good hands, confirming that the glue was non-toxic and thus safe to consume (although we obviously don’t recommend this method of using crafting materials). The hilarity didn’t end there: Mystic’s opponent, 8Bitman, admitted that he didn’t even know the glue-guzzling was actually happening, likely being too focused on their ensuing match. “I actually didn’t even notice lmao,” he said of the incident. I actually didn’t even notice lmao https://t.co/d6zd9DPf4v — AMG | 8BitMan :ok_hand::black_heart: (@8BrettMan) July 13, 2019 This wouldn’t be the first time someone has eaten glue on stream, either: popular Twitch streamer ‘Mayahiga’ similarly ate glue during a broadcast just a week prior to Mystic’s LTC debacle, although she didn’t seem as hyped about her decision to do so. “It’s on the roof of my mouth, ew,” Maya said, struggling to keep a straight face after putting only a tiny bit of the stuff on the tip of her tongue. While the Smash Bros scene is often the brunt of glue-eating jokes across the fighting game community, Mystic took the roasting to the next level, making for an unforgettable moment that will forever be recorded in the annals of Low Tier City history.

Smash commentator D1 has amazing reaction to officer catching alleged bag thief – Dexerto
Smash commentator D1 has amazing reaction to officer catching alleged bag thief Real World Police/YouTubeA new video has surfaced of an incident at a Cleveland airport where Super Smash Bros commentator D’Ron ‘D1’ Maingrette had his bag stolen. According to the video description published by the YouTube channel “Real World Police”, the incident took place in late June of 2019 when D1 went to Cleveland for a weekend birthday party. The commentator had to use a wheelchair due to an ankle injury and was pushed by an airport wheelchair attendant. While in a restroom near his gate at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Maingrette left his bag, which contained his wallet and passport on the chair. Naturally, when he came back, it was gone. D1 then spoke with officers, alerted them to the missing bag. Eventually, after doing some running around, they were able to locate the alleged thief, who had taken it. (Timestamp 7:11 for mobile users) Luckily for D1, nothing in the bag was stolen and he was able to get home to California. His reaction to getting his things back was absolutely priceless and the Smash icon even hugged the officer. (Timestamp 10:00 for mobile users) “This was literally the scariest situation,” D1 wrote on Reddit. “It was a Twitch work laptop, had my Nintendo Switch that Nintendo gave me on my bday with a free copy of BOTW prior to release, my wallet, my passport, my XCapture-1 capture device from Japan which was a gift from a Naifu, and many other electronics within.” “I was in shambles, but that police officer gave me hope in humankind,” he added. At the end of the video, it’s revealed that the flight attendant has not been criminally charged and because the crime would be considered a misdemeanor, in order to press charges, D1 would need to go to the prosecutor. “The attendee taking a random bag onboard instead of giving it to people who work at the airport is super suspect. There is no reason to bring a bag onboard a flight, instead of providing it to airport security so I could have found my misplaced bag easier,” Maingrette said. However, a Frontier Airlines spokesperson revealed the flight attendant had been fired.

Smash Bros legend ZeRo leaves Twitch for Facebook Gaming – Dexerto
Smash Bros legend ZeRo leaves Twitch for Facebook Gaming Facebook: ZeRoWonderingLegendary Super Smash Bros icon Gonzalo ‘ZeRo’ Barrios has become the first major fighting game player to move on from Twitch and join Facebook gaming. “I’m going to be moving over to Facebook Gaming as my main streaming platform,” he revealed in an announcement video posted on the social media giant. While Zero acknowledged the news would shock and surprise a lot of his audience, the retired Smash superstar said he has a lot of plans with Facebook such as collaborations with celebrities because of his new support network. “Facebook is going to allow me to do other things and explore other options,” he added. “I always wanted to provide more support to charities that I believe in.” He then revealed that his first stream on Facebook Gaming, which will be December 3, will be to raise funds for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Additionally, the 24-year-old wanted to reward those who had helped support him on Twitch by giving a free shirt to anyone who had subscribed to him for a year or more on his “previous platform’s channel.” “I want to give a big thank you to the previous platform that really allowed me to just change my life,” he said, without mentioning Twitch by name. “I’m always going to be forever thankful.” The addition to ZeRo to the Facebook Gaming lineup is a massive get in what some are calling the “stream wars” with big name Twitch stars getting poached by Mixer or Facebook to join rival platforms. He’s not the only big name to jump ship to Facebook in 2019. In November, Disguised Toast announced he was leaving the platform. While his tournament days are behind him, the Chilean Smash icon became a household name during an impressive Smash 4 tournament win streak in which he emerged victorious at 56 events in a row. Over his career, Barrios won prestigious events such as EVO 2015, Super Smash Con, Genesis 3, The Big House 5 and 6, Apex 2015 and DreamHack Austin 2017. It will be interesting to see if any other huge streaming juggernauts announce a change of platform before the end of 2019.

Small YouTube channel gains 100k subs in one day after MrBeast shoutout – Dexerto
Small YouTube channel gains 100k subs in one day after MrBeast shoutout YouTube: MrBeast / Instagram: bridiemeredithAfter MrBeast gave some shoutouts to small YouTuber channels in his 2020 rewind, one channel named ‘Amelia and Bridie’ gained 100,000 subscribers in less than a day. Following YouTube’s decision not to create their own Rewind at the end of 2020, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson decided to take matters into his own hands and produce his own version of the yearly roundup. The highly anticipated video featured a range of creators from YouTube to TikTok, and Jimmy even managed to prank his viewers by acting as if he would do a face reveal for Minecraft YouTuber Dream, only to reveal it was a prank. But being MrBeast, he can’t go a whole video without doing some kind of good deed for friends and strangers, and at the end of the Rewind decided to shout out a few small YouTube channels to send his many viewers their way. One of these channels was Amelia and Bridie, lifestyle YouTubers from Australia, who before MrBeast’s unexpected shoutout had only around 400 subs. Jimmy had a huge bowl of names in front of him where he said he would pluck a few names out and shout out the small channels he picked. The chances were naturally very slim, but it was Amelio and Bridie who were among the chosen names. Topic starts at 5:35 That shoutout more than paid off for the sisters, as at the time of writing they have over 100,000 subscribers, in only 16 hours since the Rewind was uploaded. In a video reacting to the huge influx of followers, the pair said: “Thank you so much for supporting small YouTubers. That was honestly the biggest, best present ever, and a great start to the year, like what the heck?” MrBeast’s version of the Rewind has also done tremendously well, already with over 16 million views and no doubt plenty more to come. This ability to blow up smaller channels is just one example of the power of MrBeast and his passionate fanbase.

Smaller Twitch streamers hit out at “ridiculous” TV show meta – Dexerto
Smaller Twitch streamers hit out at “ridiculous” TV show meta Max Mustermann | ccnull.deSmaller Twitch streamers have hit out at the “ridiculous” TV show meta, voicing their concerns for their own future on the platform. React streams have been a part of Twitch for as long as any viewer can remember. Be it funny YouTube videos or montages or other Twitch streamers’ clips, clicking a video link and just reacting can be entertaining. But most recently, they have begun to watch whole TV shows or movies. Seemingly spawned by Disguised Toast’s idea to shake up the react meta by pushing the DMCA limits and broadcasting full Naruto episodes, other big-named streamers such as xQc, Mizkif, and most recently banned, Pokimane, have taken it a step further by showing full episodes of various TV series. There are others like Rich Campbell, who have decided to stream a whole movie trilogy while asleep during a subathon. It hasn’t been every big-named streamer though, as broadcasters like Sodapoppin and Asmongold have given their thoughts on the matter and how it can affect the future of the platform. Concerns that are especially echoed by smaller streamers due to possible sitewide ramifications affecting them. Smaller Twitch streamers worry over the new Twitch reaction meta In response to Twitch streamer AdmiralBahroo’s tweet that expressed his distaste for when content creators “break the rules” to later be “welcomed back with 3x viewership,” smaller streamers vocalized their concerns on the react meta. They explained their side of it and how bigger creators’ actions could bring in site-wide ramifications that could also affect them. I wholeheartedly agree with you sir I constantly feel like an idiot for following the rules while clearly in order to grow i should not give a fuck It’s getting RIDICULOUS We got ppl watching Lord of the Rings movies on stream! CMON — Bast50🐱👑 (@Bast50) January 8, 2022 There are streamers like bast_50, who voiced their concerns on how it makes them feel “like an idiot for following the rules” and that “in order to grow” they “should not give a f**k” moving forward. There are also other streamers like Strykur who seemingly made fun of the process stating that “Twitch really needs to hold their big creators more accountable instead of a slap on the wrist.” With streamers beginning to feel the repercussions for their actions, only time will tell if the platform will address this issue.

Small Twitch streamer overwhelmed after getting massive viewer raid – Dexerto
Small Twitch streamer overwhelmed after getting massive viewer raid Twitch: SeolAhhTwitch streamer and musician SeolAhh was left completely speechless after she received a huge viewer raid from CashApp. Whether it’s a huge donation or a massive raid from a different streamer, seeing Twitch creators with smaller followings receive support is always great content. As Twitch is so competitive, it can take streamers years to build up a small dedicated following. That’s why raids are so significant to smaller creators as it offers them a chance to expand their community and gain new followers. Well, that’s exactly what happened to streamer and musician SealAhh while she was live singing on Twitch. It’s fair to say the huge influx of people into her stream took her by surprise and left her lost for words. Twitch streamer left speechless after CashApp raid During her March 12 stream, SeolAhh was live on Twitch singing and interacting with her chat. That was until about an hour in when CashApp appeared in her chat and asked, “are you down to keep streaming and singing?” Of course, SeolAhh confirmed she was down to keep streaming but it was obvious she was very nervous. It was at this point that CashApp replied with “Ok good to know…” Although she didn’t know it just yet, SeolAhh was about to get a massive surprise and a huge influx of new viewers. Not long after that, CashApp raided SeolAhh with over 19,000 viewers, and it’s fair to say it took her by surprise. It was obvious she was feeling a mixture of excitement and disbelief about what was happening in her stream. “I’m just gonna sing a song and pretend you guys are not here… how do I breathe, oh my goodness, no way, ok I’m gonna sing you guys a song, I’m getting so nervous I’m shaking,” she said. To calm herself down she decided to sing a song for the stream and it was obvious the new viewers were impressed with her performance. It’s no surprise she picked up so many new followers from the raid and it was clear how excited she was about the whole scenario. “I hope you guys enjoy this, my name Sarah and I’m a singer and I’m gonna sing a French song, I’m not even French.” Overall, it was just great to see a small streamer get an influx of new viewers who were incredibly impressed by her content. There’s no doubt a lot of the 19,000 CashApp fans will now tune into her next stream and become part of her community.

Their reactions were incredible and it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Whether it’s on YouTube, Twitch, or any other platform, streaming is a great way to earn money for charity. It allows communities to rally together to reach a specific goal and spread awareness for good causes. These charity streams often rely on the generosity of the audience and a lot of the time, the streamer themselves. So any donations, particularly to creators with a smaller community, mean so much in helping reach their goal. Small Twitch streamer gets emotional after PewDiePie donates to him again – Dexerto
Small Twitch streamer gets emotional after PewDiePie donates to him again YouTube: PewDiePieA small Twitch streamer became emotional after YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg donated to him. The personality thanked the star for bringing attention to his channel. For many viewers around the world, PewDiePie has been the face of online entertainment over the last decade. The 30-year-old boasts 107 million YouTube subscribers in 2020. In September, the content creator went viral when he gave a small Twitch streamer his very first donation ever. And on October 15, the personality became emotional when the Swede donated to him for the second time. Small streamer emotional after PewDiePie donates On September 24, Twitch streamer BluWolfie123 was playing the wildly popular title Among Us when he received a donation from PewDiePie. Stunned and not sure if it was really the YouTuber, the personality exclaimed “That’s f**king insane. What the hell! It’s my first donation!” On October 15, the entertainer decided to donate to the streamer a second time. “This is the same [streamer] from last time. Hey, he grew in viewers, good for him!” Pewds said, as he donated another $100. Shocked, BluWolfie exclaimed, “What the f**k?!” The Twitch streamer then asked if PewDiePie was watching him live, before thanking him: “Holy s**t, thank you! I wanted to say thank you. I commented on your last video, but it got buried. Yo, if you’re there, I wanted to say thank you before. I wanted to thank you directly. If you’re here, thank you! You’re f**king awesome! I can not thank you enough.” (Topic starts at 5:00.) Kjellberg thanked Wolfie for his kind words and then told viewers to check out the user’s Twitch channel. “Check out BluWolfie, he’s so wholesome,” he said. The streamer further commented on the situation on his About page. “I got super lucky thanks to the Pewds and his community and I’m super happy.” Pewds also gave away money to several other small channels on the Amazon-owned streaming platform – a few of whom cried over the popular YouTuber popping in to watch their broadcast. This isn’t the first time PewDiePie has donated money. For months, he has been donating all of his streaming subscriber money to various charities. In October, he sent a mental health charity $144k.

Small Twitch streamer Micaylee’s channel explodes overnight as bots run rampant – Dexerto
Small Twitch streamer Micaylee’s channel explodes overnight as bots run rampant Twitch: MicayleeA small Twitch streamer has become the fastest-growing channel on the platform – except not really, as Twitch’s battle against follow bots continues. Streamer Micaylee suddenly shot to the top of follower charts for May 2021, ahead of big names like Adin Ross, Tubbo, and Amouranth, but it was clear that it wasn’t all it seemed to be. Most streamers are doing well to get 10,000 followers in a single stream – never mind over one million. Micaylee was the victim of another wave of follow-bots, an issue that has been plaguing Twitch for a number of years. Earlier in 2021, the platform took action, wiping millions of bot accounts from the platform, and sinking the follower count of many streamers, big and small. But, this purge hasn’t managed to stop the follow bots from continuing to cause problems, as a number of streamers since have been targetted. Micaylee is the most egregious example yet, gaining over 1.7 million followers overnight. Her bio now reads: “SOME WEIRDO BOTTED OVER 1.7MILLION FOLLOWERS TO MY ACCOUNT.” In April, xQc, the most-watched streamer on Twitch, lost over 2 million followers as a result of the purge. At the time, Twitch said, “We have been monitoring the rise of fake engagement on Twitch and have identified 7.5MM+ accounts that break our TOS by follow-botting and view-botting. We are taking action on these accounts and appreciate all of the reports about this issue.” The platform also suggested that legal action may be an option in their fight against bots. “A majority of these accounts were detected through ongoing machine learning technology that will continue to improve and we will continue to operate going forward. We engage in enforcement when necessary including pursuing legal action,” they stated. But, so far, their efforts haven’t been enough to stop the massive influx of bot followers on some channels.

Small Twitch streamer begs for answers after mysterious ban with no reason – Dexerto
Small Twitch streamer begs for answers after mysterious ban with no reason Twitch: ChinnyXOTwitch has banned a small streamer without any reasoning, leaving them to question what they did wrong and how they can go about fixing the issue. Being a content creator is tough at the best of times, but it’s especially tricky for those that have a smaller following. It can be a thankless job and one that requires a lot of work to get noticed, which makes getting banned particularly scary. While Twitch is known to remove content creators for breaking its ToS, there are times where certain streamers are seemingly banned out of the blue. This is what appears to have happened to ChinnyXO – a small Twitch streamer who found that her channel had been completely removed. Before the ban, ChinnyXO had over 21,609+ followers and streamed regularly on the platform. However, it seems Twitch has yet to make a statement on why the streamer was even banned in the first place. ChinnyXO originally found she had been banned May 20, with the content creator stating that she hadn’t been able to stream for 85 hours. However, it has now been a total of 7 days since she’s heard anything from the streaming giants. “I’m tired guys. I have spent 7 years on Twitch only to be overlooked, left out, underappreciated,” and ignored, said ChinnyXO. “It feels as if no matter what effort I put in on this platform, it will never be enough.” This isn’t the first time Twitch has banned a streamer out of the blue – after all, WillNeff recently revealed his bizarre reason for getting banned from the platform. While account bans have been known to be lifted when falsely given out, they can be rather tricky to overturn, especially for smaller streamers who don’t have a large fan backing. UPDATE: It’s been 7 days and I’ve heard absolutely NOTHING from @TwitchSupport @Twitch My livelihood has been taken and idk why….i’m a small streamer so Twitch gets to leave me in the dark without regard to the toll on my mental health. Help I’m begging for answers #FreeChinny https://t.co/1QTlifHOk6 — chinny 🌙 (@ChinnyXO1) May 24, 2021 ChinnyXO took to Twitter to voice her frustrations. “I don’t know if someone is out to get me at Twitch HQ,” said the streamer. “Maybe you guys just don’t want me around…I’m not a big streamer who brings in a lot of traffic/income for y’all, but I’m at least owed an explanation on the status of my channel so I know what to do next.” Read More: How to use TikTok’s text-to-speech voice – Despite the influx of support and fan outcry, ChinnyXO has yet to hear from Twitch, and no official statement has been made. Whether the streamer will manage to get an answer from the platform remains to be seen, but it’s hoped that this ban can be overturned sometime in the near future.

Small streamer breaks down in tears after insane donation from Mr Beast – Dexerto
Small streamer breaks down in tears after insane donation from Mr Beast YouTube: MrBeast GamingYouTube star and internet philanthropist Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson is back at it again with his classic streamer donation videos — and this time, he sent an unsuspected IRL broadcaster into tears. While Mr Beast is known for such stunts as opening “free banks,” handing out suitcases of money on college campuses, and awarding thousands of dollars to contestants for standing in a circle for 24 hours, the current health crisis has made his usual antics a bit difficult. Thus, it seems the online superstar has had to find another avenue for his charitable ventures by going back to one of his old-school tactics: donating to small-time Twitch streamers. Mr Beast has a penchant for helping out broadcasters with smaller audiences, completely taking them by surprise with huge amounts of money that he donates to them during their streams. View this post on Instagram This time, Donaldson set out to find broadcasters with a grand total of 0 viewers, with a whopping $50,000 to give away. While he surprised his first lucky streamer with $10,000, the broadcaster hadn’t turned on his donation notifications — but it wasn’t long before Mr Beast found an IRL streamer perusing aisles at the grocery store who couldn’t seem to believe the $2,000 amount she received. “No!” She exclaimed, laughing in disbelief. “That’s not Mr Beast, right? That cannot be him! Excuse me? That’s not real, right?” The streamer then began to cry, leading Mr Beast to send yet another massive donation her way, with one simple instruction: “Buy that Danish.” The YouTuber sent an additional $5,000 to the Russia-based streamer, who began skipping through the store in happiness; but it seems she wasn’t merely a broadcaster. “I’m gonna build educational games now,” she revealed. “That’s why I started streaming. I wanted to try to educate people.” Luckily, she did end up buying the Danish — a small price to pay for a huge jumpstart in her dreams of building educational video games. While Mr Beast once said he was completely through with his donation videos, it seems that the holiday spirit has inspired him to start up the tradition, once again, much to the happiness of a few small broadcasters.

Small Streamer’s Emotional Video “What streaming on Twitch has done to my life” Goes Viral – Dexerto
Small Streamer’s Emotional Video “What streaming on Twitch has done to my life” Goes Viral A small streamer ‘Yuber’ recently made an emotional video highlighting the struggles of growing on Twitch and how it negatively affected his life, which has since gone viral with thousands reaching out in support and sympathy. Yuber says he has been streaming on Twitch for over three years, but has only gained around 6,000 followers, and has not been able to realize his dream of streaming for his full time income. In the video, he breaks down in tears as he explains how negatively the experience had impacted on him, costing him relationships and friendships as he attempted to ‘make it’ as a streamer. Amazon owned platform Twitch is the leading website for streaming, primarily for video games, and some streamers regularly attract tens of thousands of viewers every time they go live. But for others, those “at the bottom” as Yuber puts it, it is a struggle, and despite people saying that with dedication and hard work the results will come, he explains that for some it will simply never happen. “I have done multiple things within these three years to try and get there [big on Twitch]. I did all the things that people said; ‘be on at this time, be on when a game first comes out’ – none of that shit works. Your stream is always at the bottom, nobody sees you and you just don’t get anywhere. But I blame myself. I blame giving it too much time. I should have done it a lot more casually, I shouldn’t have allowed my life to get like this. So for the few people that do watch this video, don’t let your life get like this. Don’t devote so much time to streaming, have a life, get a girlfriend, go out, have fun – don’t be me.” After the video was posted to Reddit and around Twitter, many other streamers, big and small, resonated with Yuber’s comments and wanted to raise awareness to give the same warning to others. Even YouTuber markiplier reached out, asking his fans to go show some support. Hey guys, I know it’s late but could you send some love towards this streamer? He made a video detailing some hard truths about trying and failing to achieve a dream but he’s streaming right now and could use some support. Send some love his way from me: https://t.co/i0xDA1Eata — Markiplier (@markiplier) May 26, 2018 Just saw this, a few things to anyone who streams/wants to stream from experience: Never expect anything(follows, subs, hosts, donations, etc.) You NEED Balance Don’t commit to “”full time”” unless you’re somewhat financially secure Don’t force ithttps://t.co/ryjTB2qrH7 — Zulu / Jon (@ZuluOnly) May 26, 2018 I said before grinding while constantly adapting gives you a better shot, especially in the long term. It takes people months or even years to get noticed. But it never guarantees you success, do not gamble the time you cannot afford to lose. — Chris Chan (@ChrisChanTO) May 27, 2018 This video just broke my heart & I have such a massive respect for this man for being honest, everyone knows somone who can relate to this story. Streaming is not easy, I’ve seen hundreds of people try, you either make it or you don’t. MUST WATCHhttps://t.co/mz4kIXvkXI — Gross Gore (@GrossieGore) May 26, 2018 Since the outpouring of support, Yuber has now made a follow up video, providing an update on his situation, and thanking the many people who reached out. He also discusses his decision to return to streaming, but that his experience has made him more wary of the pitfalls, and hopes that others can learn from it too.

Small GTA RP streamer becomes fastest-growing Twitch channel as bots strike again – Dexerto
Small GTA RP streamer becomes fastest-growing Twitch channel as bots strike again Twitter: GirlGamerPretty / Rockstar GamesSmall Twitch streamer SerinaRP has become the site’s fastest-growing channel after follower bots ran rampant on her profile when she was unbanned from the platform. Twitch bots are one of the most fascinating on the platform. Overnight, small streamers with a few hundred regular viewers can suddenly gain massive numbers. In fact, it got to a point where Twitch themselves had to intervene, as in April the platform took down roughly 7.5 million accounts that had been associated with follower botting. But that hasn’t completely turned the tide. A month after the purge, which also saw bigger streamers affected as xQc lost 2 million followers, small streamer Micaylee was botted to the top of the charts. And she’s not the last person to be affected, as evidenced by Twitch channel SerinaRP. Between June 1 to June 6, Serina was botted to over 2.1 million followers on her Twitch channel, up from just shy of 8,000 in the days before. This boost took her above the likes of Adin Ross, Dream, and the freshly-banned Amouranth in the growth rate rankings, and placed her 78th in the overall follower rankings, above channels like Asmongold, DisguisedToast and Markiplier. But she wasn’t fazed by the boost in statistical popularity, and took pity on the person who targeted her. She tweeted: “To the person that keeps follow-botting me, God loves you! I promise it’s going to take more than that to break me. I will pray for you though.” I legit don’t bother anybody. I just be chilling and vibing. To the person that keeps follow botting me, God loves you! I promise it’s going to take more than that to break me fr. I will def pray for you though.🥰 — R ᥫ᭡ (@ilySerina) June 3, 2021 The GTA RP streamer, who plays on the SSB World server, had been banned from Twitch on June 1 after a DMCA claim for watching MTV live on stream, but the ban only lasted for 48 hours. But this isn’t the first time she’s been botted. Serina was botted to 2.9 million followers back in March this year, but swiftly had them all removed in the April purge just weeks later. With bots seemingly making a comeback on Twitch, with second-fastest-growing streamer casanovabeams also seemingly falling victim, it’ll be interesting to see if the platform attempts another bot purge in the near future.

Small Overwatch streamer has amazing reaction to $50 donation – Dexerto
Small Overwatch streamer has amazing reaction to $50 donation A small Twitch streamer, with just 1,168 followers, had an incredible reaction to receiving a $50 donation from a viewer while live. Somjuu, who has been streaming Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch for the last couple of months, refers to himself as “#1 Doomfist NA” in many of his stream titles, implying that he’s the best Doomfist player in North America. However, during a stream on Wednesday, October 23, somjuu was actually playing as Wrecking Ball when he was hit by a donation that he was absolutely ecstatic with. As the end of the round was approaching, somjuu received a $50 donation, that left him incapable of playing out the rest of the round. Although this kind of donation is an everyday occurrence for many big streamers, for an up and coming channel it’s a massive endorsement of their content. “Oh my god, there’s no way,” he said immediately, clearly excited and in disbelief. “There’s actually no way! Bro… No way! Dude… Thank you!” The end of the round meant somjuu could focus a bit more on the donation he had just received, but it didn’t really change much, with the streamer still in disbelief. “$50 bro… there’s no f***ing way bro!” he said, putting his head in his arms and looking sheepishly up at the screen, perhaps to checking to see it had really happened. He promptly made the donator a mod in the stream, and agreed he could use it to get emotes to use in chat. After pinching and slapping himself in the face, somjuu confirmed to himself that the donation was indeed still there, and did some push-ups to burn off the adrenaline. When you see the amounts of money some streamers make from their broadcasts, it’s refreshing to see someone up and coming get a decent donation and be so grateful for it. Not every streamer is on the level of Ninja or Tfue, and somjuu is a perfect reminder of where these people started.

Slim Albaher accused of trespassing by “Karen” after extending AirBnB checkout – Dexerto
Slim Albaher accused of trespassing by “Karen” after extending AirBnB checkout YouTube: Slim Albaher / Twitter: SlimmySlim94YouTube boxer Slim Albaher uploaded a video of himself being confronted by an AirBnB owner, who accused him of trespassing after he was late to check out. Slim Albaher is an influencer-boxer who recently faced off against fellow creator FaZe Temperrr on the undercard for KSI’s ‘two fights, one night’ boxing event on August 26. Slim emerged the victor by knockout over his opponent, adding another victory to his record and further cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with… but even he is no match for a “Karen.” Slim was once again traveling and staying in an AirBnB when he was confronted by the homeowner, who accused him of “trespassing” on her property after being 15 minutes late checking out. The YouTuber uploaded a video of the encounter to Twitter on September 13, showing himself being accosted by the woman, who was also recording him on her phone. “We were customers at AirBnB,” Slim explained. “We extended for one hour, I was sleeping. It’s eleven o’clock now.” “Ten AM is checkout,” the owner said. “Now, he’s trespassing.” “It’s eleven o’clock, and she’s calling the police on me!” Slim added in between commands from the owner to “get out” of the home. “What’s going on, woman? What’s going on? Karen, chill!” “You’re not supposed to be in my house,” she continued. “How about I go to your house when I’m not supposed to be there? Go, get out! Just stop talking.” Slim added another comment via Twitter, saying he was “having a great sleep until that Karen kicked my door down with a phone in my face for oversleeping for 15 mins.” While it’s unclear how the situation resolved at the time of writing, AirBnB has reached out to Slim for any assistance he might need. Slim Jxmmi spends $150,000 on custom Call of Duty jewelry – Dexerto
Slim Jxmmi spends $150,000 on custom Call of Duty jewelry Twitter: Jxmmi / ActivisionSlim Jxmmi may have some of the most original gaming-themed jewelry in the world, after the bling-loving hip hop artist just dropped $150,000 on some limited-edition Call of Duty-themed ice. A best selling hip hop artist known most prominently known for being one half of the Rae Sremmurd duo alongside his brother Swae Lee, Slim Jxmmi has made it known that he’s serious when it comes to Call of Duty. Having linked up with members of the FaZe Clan to play Call of Duty in the past, the rapper has upped his game this time around by spending a pretty penny on some authentic weapon charms. While in Atlanta, he headed into Icebox Diamonds & Watches, a jeweler that is frequented by some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Coming in with an original request, he pulled out his phone and showed pictures of “custom charms” from Call of Duty that he wanted to rock in real life. In Modern Warfare for instance, weapon charms are small unlockables that hang on individual weapons to add some flair in the popular FPS title. Rather than attaching them to real firearms though, the rapper decided to collect a few on a “little charm necklace.” “You come up with the most craziest ideas man,” the Icebox employee joked while running over the concepts with Jxmmi. While the finalized designs weren’t on display in the first video, a follow up could be on the way that shows just how the rapper’s idea came out in the end. Not leaving empty-handed, however, he walked away with a custom pair of iced out $18k glasses, three rings, and orders on the way for custom necklaces to boot. This isn’t the first time video game bling has taken the music industry by storm. Activision’s own Crash Bandicoot has been a popular inspiration as the likes of Quavo and Trippie Red have dropped hundreds of thousands on diamond-encrusted chains featuring Aku Aku and Uka Uka respectively. With this much money being spent on real CoD charms, maybe Infinity Ward could even consider honoring Slim Jxmmi with an in-game item of his own.

SlikeR baits Korean streamer with sneaky Minecraft prank – Dexerto
SlikeR baits Korean streamer with sneaky Minecraft prank Twitter: ItsSlikeR / Twitch: HAchubbyPopular Twitch streamer HAchubby was left shocked after her Minecraft streaming partner ‘ItsSlikeR‘ continuously baited her into falling for a sneaky trick that sent her character to an explosive death. While Minecraft has exploded in popularity again in 2019, the game initially released over 10 years ago, leaving many Twitch streamers to discover well-known game mechanics for the first time. SlikeR found this out the hard way during his August 24 stream, when his chat fooled him into accidentally throwing his pickaxe into lava. Now, the Twitch personality has continued the cycle by sneakily baiting fellow streamer HAchubby during their Minecraft collaboration. “What the f**k!?” The two streamers had reached ‘The Nether’, a hellish dimension and one of the deepest levels in the sandbox game, when SlikeR told her they were going to sleep. “Put your bed down, but don’t sleep next to me, I sleep alone. Let’s sleep” he said. After sneaking away from her, the Korean streamer clicked the bed to sleep and was instantly killed with a scorching explosion that left her frowning and stunned in silence, as players can not sleep in the Nether. Finally breaking her silence, she yelled “What the fuck!?” repeatedly. Feigning ignorance, SlikeR came back into chat and acted confused by what happened, pretending that they had just died randomly. Not just content with tricking her once, the Twitch streamer then baited HAchubby into sleeping in a bed again, after asking her when her birthday was and saying that he would send her a present if she went to sleep “November, I’ll give you a birthday present,” he said to try to entice her. “Really!?” she said in excitement. “Yes, go to sleep, and I’ll give you a birthday present!” Falling for it, the Korean streamer clicked to sleep in the bed, when the mattress exploded and her character was instantly killed while being engulfed in flames. This time the Korean streamer knew that he was to blame and screamed “You, know!” repeatedly before shouting “What the hell!?” Still acting coy, SlikeR continued to deny not knowing. “You know! You are very bad! Okay? You 100% know!” the Korean screamed. From SlikeR’s point of view, he could hardly contain his laughter as he led his friend like a lamb to the slaughter. As HAchubby began to place her bed, he started crack a smile in anticipation. After she exploded to her death, he couldn’t hold it in longer and had to mute his mic and put it away from his face as he broke out into an intense laughter, before putting his hand over his eyes after pulling off the sneaky prank. Minecraft continues to be a force to be reckoned with, as it’s consistently in the top 10 most streamed categories on Twitch, and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. HAchubby while relatively new, already has over 91k followers and rising, while SlikeR has over 143k as of the time of this article.

Sliker’s Twitch partner status and sub button disappear after scamming scandal – Dexerto
Sliker’s Twitch partner status and sub button disappear after scamming scandal After a scandal involving SlikeR scamming his viewers and peers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars came to light, the Twitch streamer has lost his partner status and sub button. ItsSliker, better known simply as Sliker, was the center of a controversy that came to light on Sunday, September 18. Allegations were made claiming that Sliker had scammed his friends and fans out of thousands of dollars to fuel his addiction to sports betting. Sliker would go live on Twitch on Monday, September 19, to offer a tearful apology to those he had taken money from. But despite him admitting to the scams that spanned over two years, he still remained a partnered streamer on Twitch. This led to other streamers like Asmongold calling Twitch out on their apparent lack of action. It also resulted in Pokimane and Mizkif calling for gambling to be banned from the platform. And on September 20, both of these concerns were addressed on Twitch. Sliker loses partnership and sub button on Twitch Late on Tuesday, Twitch posted an official announcement on Twitter stating that it would be taking action against certain aspects of gambling on Twitch starting in October. And shortly after, it was discovered that Sliker’s channel was missing a few of the bells and whistles it had earlier that day. The Twitch Partner badge was missing from the streamer’s name, and there was no longer the option to subscribe. As of right now, neither Sliker nor Twitch has made an official comment on the situation regarding his partnership. However, Twitch did state in their message regarding gambling that the actions are being made in light of people circumventing the rules and exposing the community to potential harm. It is possible that Sliker has requested to have his partnership disbanded, but Twitch could have also stripped him from his partnership following the recent scandal.

Sliker reveals true depth of gambling addiction: “I couldn’t control myself” | BeckaTV interview – Dexerto
Sliker reveals true depth of gambling addiction: “I couldn’t control myself” | BeckaTV interview Instagram: sliker0161Kick star BeckaTV sat down with banned Twitch streamer Sliker to speak with him about the true depth and meteoric aftermath of his gambling addiction almost a year after it was exposed to fans. In September 2022, prominent Twitch streamer ‘Sliker’ was accused of scamming his fans out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Numerous viewers and even fellow streamers came out with claims that they had been approached by Sliker with requests for money — each hearing a different story from him as to why he supposedly needed the funds. Sliker went live with an emotional apology shortly thereafter, tearfully admitting that he’d scammed many of his fans and fellow creators out of money due to a crippling gambling addiction. The incident sparked backlash against Twitch for allowing gambling on its platform, with the site facing pressure from massive creators like Pokimane to change its guidelines. While Twitch eventually did tweak its rules regarding gambling, the outrage against Sliker remained. It wasn’t long before Sliker’s partnership with Twitch was revoked, and the ‘subscribe’ button was removed from his channel. Eventually, he was banned altogether after the streamer claimed he’d been allegedly “hacked” in January 2023. Sliker appeared to lay low for some time after his channel got the boot, but since then, he’s been quietly streaming on Kick. Now, nearly a year after the gambling drama took over social media, Kick star BeckaTV got the chance to sit down with the streamer to discuss the aftermath of his gambling addiction and his plans for the future. Sliker claims he was constantly gambling — even at funerals During their conversation, Sliker revealed the true depth of his gambling addiction. He claimed that he approached everyone from high-profile streamers, to viewers, and even his own family, lying to them about why he needed money and where the funds were going. “I was a gambling addict,” he admitted. “I scammed a lot of people to fuel up my addiction, because I would gamble a lot of money every day. I had no money to gamble with — my own money, because I’d already wasted it. I’d go to streamers, every streamer I ever knew. I’d even ask xQc, Mizkif, anyone. My viewers. I’d ask my friends, my family.” “There were times when I even scammed my parents. My dad …would find out that the money was gone, but I’d lie to him and be like, ‘Oh, I paid taxes, and I’ll pay you back later.’” Sliker said he was gambling constantly — when he was at the hospital, when he was streaming, and even when he was attending funerals. “It was weird. What it will do to you is weird,” he explained. “I’d have Bet 365 on the right side and I’d m*******te watching p**n. …weirdly, it would get me h***y, as well.” “I would go to funerals, hospitals, always on. 24/7. Sh*tting, hospital, showering. …wherever you can think of. Name one place, I’m on it. On the plane to America, there was Wi-Fi 3G, I’m on it, betting on it.” Sliker reveals effects of gambling addiction on his mental health Sliker said that his addiction had devastating effects on his mental health. According to the streamer, he’d smack his head against the wall when he lost bets and even had thoughts of self-harm due to his constant need to gamble. “I couldn’t control myself. I couldn’t stop myself. I know I’m an adult, I’m 28 …I know it sounds ridiculous and stupid or whatever, but I couldn’t control myself. I couldn’t. I wanted to do it. I had to do it, you know?” “Once I would take [out] the money, I would cry, but once I’d jump on and play, the tears would be gone, and I’m on it and I’m excited, because my mind is more of, ‘I’m gonna win. I’m gonna bet, and I’m gonna sit down, and I’m gonna entertain myself.’” “When reality hits and I lose, I go in my bed and I’m like clenching my fist, and I smack the pillow, smack my head against the wall. At the start, it wasn’t like that. Eventually, I’d go outside and be like, ‘I want to disappear.’ I’d have suicidal thoughts. A lot of suicidal thoughts.” Sliker says his family doesn’t trust him anymore as a result of his gambling addiction. In fact, he says that his name has been taken off of his home, and claims his family even controls his bank card. “He lost all his trust [in me],” Sliker said of his father. “The house was going to be under my name. He removed that. When he went abroad, I could hear him on a phone call upstairs, I could hear my dad speaking to my mother like, ‘Make sure you hide the jewelry.’ …ever since then, my sister took control of my bank card.” Sliker wants to “fix his wrongs” After his gambling addiction came to light, prominent streamers xQc and Ludwig offered to repay victims of Sliker’s scam — an amount allegedly totaling around $300,000. However, Sliker says that some of his victims wouldn’t accept that money, and wanted Sliker to pay them himself. He also claims that the amount he scammed was “definitely more” than the $300k figure tweeted by xQc. Although Sliker admitted that he thought of ending his life as a “way out,” he realized that this wouldn’t be fair to his victims — some of whom had “sold their stuff” to get money for him — and that he needed to make things right. “When I started doing a normal job, and I started sitting down and realized like, damn, I could kill myself,” he told us. “But that’s not what should have mattered. Because the people I took from — people would sell their stuff to give me money. And they could have went through suicide. …they could have went through triple, quadruple, or 100 times more pain than what I did.” Sliker says that he still owes a few people money, although much of his debt has been cleared thanks to his own efforts and the help of other streamers. In fact, Sliker says he has a document with a list of everyone he still owes on his PC at home, of which he keeps close track. Kick gives Sliker more “freedom” than Twitch after permaban After seeking therapy and working to clear his debt, the streamer is now broadcasting on Kick, where he feels he has “more freedom” than Twitch. “When I was a Twitch streamer, [it was like], ‘I didn’t mean that, I didn’t mean that, I’m so sorry,’” he said, referring to Twitch’s comparatively stricter guidelines as opposed to those on Kick. “When you’re on Kick, you don’t need to be worried, because communities are a big thing on Kick.” Despite his issues with Twitch and claiming the platform exhibits “favoritism,” Sliker says he can’t “sh*t on Twitch,” as the website helped launch his career. Now, Sliker is looking forward to the future and wants to make things right with the people he wronged before focusing on becoming a full-time IRL streamer. “Obviously, with my life now, I want to fix my wrongs,” he said. “I know I can do that, because all I think about is negativity toward gambling. When I think of gambling I’m just like, this is what it’s done to me.” “When I was streaming on Twitch, I didn’t do the things that I could do. And of course, that falls down to me not having money, because [I was] spending it all on gambling and stuff. I wanted to commit myself as an IRL streamer. …eventually, that’s what I want to see myself as.”

SlikeR saves streamer from revealing too much personal info – Dexerto
SlikeR saves streamer from revealing too much personal info Popular Twitch streamer “SlikeR” was just in time to save the day for a fellow streamer, who nearly revealed their own financial details during a live broadcast. As one of the net’s most popular live streaming platforms, Twitch is somewhat famous for capturing hilarious and unexpected moments as they happen in real time. However, some of these moments can be seriously detrimental to some streamers, who may accidentally expose personal correspondence or sensitive information by forgetting to hide certain browsers or programs during their broadcasts. One such moment nearly happened to another streamer during a joint broadcast with SlikeR, who is known for his hilarious reactions and CS:GO/Call of Duty streams. The two were in the middle of a conversation when the other streamer switched to a different screen, after announcing that they intended to gift twenty subscriptions to another channel in the spirit of the holidays. This screen includes boxes to insert users’ payment information, for use with credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal details — sensitive and private information that caused SlikeR to nearly jump out of his skin. “Oh my god!” he cried. “Stop what you’re doing now. You’re showing your PayPal. Stop!” “Am I?” his partner asked. “Yes, stop,” SlikeR warned. “Dude, what are you doing?” “Yo, holy f***,” the streamer replied in relief. “Thank you so much. That was MonkaS as f***. Jesus!” “Luckily, you didn’t do anything. Holy sh***, dude! Bro, what are you doing, dude!” Thanks to SlikeR’s quick thinking, his partner was saved from accidentally exposing their financial details — something that could have gotten them in a heap of trouble with their bank. Read More: 10 best streamers of the decade – Plenty of streamers have unintentionally shown such personal information on camera, such as Twitch star Alinity Divine, who forgot to close out her Gmail account during a November broadcast that revealed she’d sold underwear to a fan. Luckily, this kind of slip-up didn’t happen during SlikeR’s broadcast, much to the other streamer’s relief.

Sliker reveals he was offered gambling sponsorship following scam allegations – Dexerto
Sliker reveals he was offered gambling sponsorship following scam allegations Twitch: ItsSlikerTwitch streamer ‘ItsSliker’ has claimed he was offered a sponsorship from a gambling casino immediately following an influx of scam accusations against him. Twitch went into meltdown on September 17 as multiple content creators and fans claimed they had been scammed out of thousands by British streamer Sliker who would send them emotional messages begging them for money due to various personal reasons. However, with some claimants waiting for years to receive their money back, Sliker revealed he had actually spent the money to help fuel his gambling addiction. He subsequently apologized and admitted that he has a severe “problem.” Yet, that didn’t stop one gambling casino that supposedly offered to pay off his mounting debts if he accepted a sponsorship. Sliker shocks Hasan & Mizkif with gambling sponsorship offer On September 18, Sliker was speaking with Hasan and Mizkif as the list of streamers stating they had loaned whopping amounts of money to him continued to grow. Despite having openly admitted that his desperation was fuelled by gambling addiction, Sliker claimed that he had been approached by an unnamed gambling casino for a sponsorship deal immediately following the explosive events of the day before. He explained: “I’m not going to say who, I just got on a call with a casino. They said they would help me pay off the people if I do a sponsor for them, but I refused it. I couldn’t do it.” It comes as the debate surrounding sponsored gambling streams continues to rage across Twitch. Many are calling on the Amazon-owned platform to ban the practice altogether. Yet, popular Twitch streamers like xQc and Trainwreck, who supposedly severed ties with Sliker after paying off his gambling debts, are continuing to defend their slot-fueled content. However, following on from the recent drama surrounding Sliker, calls for Twitch to ban gambling are beginning to mount up.

SlikeR left frozen after bizarre interaction with Dairy Queen cashier – Dexerto
SlikeR left frozen after bizarre interaction with Dairy Queen cashier Popular Twitch streamer SlikeR was left embarrassed after he asked a Dairy Queen cashier to guess his age with disastrous results. The entertainer was checking out Austin, Texas with fellow Twitch streamer Jon Zherka who followed him around streaming his every move. Things got a bit awkward as Sliker approached a cashier at Dairy Queen to place an order. “Hey, where’s Snow White?” Zherka joked, interrupting the British streamer’s chain of thought. “Cause it’s like the Dwarfs.” As Sliker tried to order a chocolate dip, Zherka continued to talk over his friend. “You want to know how smart he is?” Zherka asked the cashier. “He let me pay $50 for a meal and now he wants to treat me to ice cream. This f*cking guy.” “He’s got dessert,” the cashier played along. “Okay then, get me $50 worth of ice cream, let’s do that,” Zherka replied. The banter continued with Zherka mocking SlikeR’s height, eventually leading to the Dairy Queen employee to inquire where the two were streaming before being put to the test with an awkward question. “This is his channel so what do you think of him physically,” the Canadian asked. “Have you ever seen a man like this?” The bizarre questions continued with SlikeR asking the ice cream lady how old she thought he was. “How old do I think you are? You’re probably about…38?” she answered to roaring laughter from the streaming duo. For his part, SlikeR couldn’t believe the girl’s answer when he confided with his friend a bit later. “I can’t believe that. That’s 13 years older than what I am.” “Yea, that’s weird. I don’t know why she said that,” the Canadian stated. “You look young.” In the end, the two agreed that they shouldn’t have asked the cashier to guess his age. When it comes to the age guessing game, the DQ employee may as well have been disqualified.

Sliker returns to Twitch for first time since “scam” incident – Dexerto
Sliker returns to Twitch for first time since “scam” incident Twitch: ItsSlikerItsSliker has returned to Twitch for the first time since he was called out for scamming friends and fans out of money, and his stream was a bit out of the ordinary. Back in September 2022, Twitch streamer ItsSliker was accused of scamming fans and fellow streamers for thousands of dollars before issuing a tearful apology. Ludwig, xQc, and others banded together to repay all of the affected people as they called for Sliker to be banned from the platform. On January 26, Sliker went live on his channel for the first time since the incident, and it was a bit out of the ordinary. Sliker returns to Twitch with weird stream On January 26, Sliker’s channel went live displaying an anonymous mask with the stream title “This channel is mine now” in funky lettering. There wasn’t much going on during his stream, but while it was showing the mask you could hear someone laughing in the background. According to chat logs from Sliker during the broadcast, he claimed that the channel was “hacked” and that he wasn’t the one streaming. He also claimed that he got banned on his alt account earlier in the day, and the person behind the “hack” was going to report him for ban evasion. While it’s hard to tell what exactly is happening with Sliker and his accounts, it’s clear that he’s interested in returning as he also made a post on his Twitter account for the first time since October 2022. “Thank you for a second chance (in life),” it reads. We’ll keep you updated on what’s going on as more information about his return becomes available.

Sliker has Twitch ban overturned early after “accidentally” copying graphic emote – Dexerto
Sliker has Twitch ban overturned early after “accidentally” copying graphic emote Twitch: ItsSlikerTwitch partner Sliker had his latest ban overturned early after being punished for “accidentally” copying over an explicit emote into his very own chat. Following on from the wave of major Twitch bans in the past few days, popular English streamer Sliker was the latest to be removed from the platform. Marking his second suspension already this year, Sliker’s latest ban appeared to come as a direct result of copying a graphic text emote into his own chat. While at first, many assumed the banhammer was slapped down due his flirtatious AI stream on April 19, that wasn’t the case. Sliker himself took to Instagram to confirm the reason behind his latest Twitch ban. ❌ Twitch Partner “ItsSliker” has been banned! ❌https://t.co/JI71Fc5zkJ#twitch #ban #secondban #partner #twitchpartner 📣 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) April 19, 2022 “I got banned on Twitch for three days,” the streamer announced hours after being hit offline. “I swear [I’ve] done this by accident,” he added, showing a picture of the text emote that landed him in trouble. “Someone typed it but I couldn’t see so I pasted it in my own chat.” Seemingly without knowing the contents of the emote, Sliker copied it over without hesitation and had his account flagged as a result. Evidently going against the Twitch Terms of Service, sharing a singular emote, even in his own channel, was enough for his account to be temporarily banned. Unlike quite a considerable number of Twitch bans, however, the silver lining for Sliker was that he instantly knew the exact reason along with the duration. Shortly after filing an appeal, Sliker managed to get his Twitch ban dropped two days early. As of April 20, he now has full access to his account once again.

SleightlyMusical uses insane card tricks to recreate top Twitch moments ft. Dr Disrespect, Alinity, and more – Dexerto
SleightlyMusical uses insane card tricks to recreate top Twitch moments ft. Dr Disrespect, Alinity, and more Sleightlymusical / Dr Disrespect / Alinity / summit1g – TwitchTwitch streamer Albert ‘SleightlyMusical’ Chang has done some awesome performances in the past, but his live magic performance about streaming culture on the Rajj Talent Show is one of his best. SleightlyMusical is a talented musician and magician from the OfflineTV community, and his performances have been featured at events like the League of Legends World Championship. This card trick he performed on the Rajj Talent show, run by Rajj Patel, will go down as one of his best though. He combined his magic trick prowess with his love of music in a beautiful streamer showcase, with some big personalities watching on. Describing the performance beforehand, he said that “imagine a lyric video done with cards,” and that’s what his performance would be like. Read more: xQc wins Minecraft Monday – The showcase starts off with Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel mocking people who think streaming is all about the equipment, and not the person on camera. The OfflineTV streamer draws cards from his deck with perfect precision to match every word xQc says, making for a wonderful visual display. From there he highlights some of Twitch’s most iconic personalities and most notorious clips. From Michael ‘shroud’ Grzeciek promising Dr Disrespect $100 for hitting a cross-map PUBG shot, to Alinity ‘Alinity’ Divine throwing her cat on stream, SleightlyMusical shows off the best and worst of Twitch. The music perfectly fits the theme too. The ambient sounds backing up xQc’s intro clip morph into a perky electro tune showcasing the rest of the clips. For mobile users, the video starts at 4:08:27 Watch Performing on the Rajj Talent show from sleightlymusical on www.twitch.tvThe final cutback pans to SleightlyMusical in his studio, where he pulls around a monitor showing his Twitch chat and the final four cards, sharing the fact that behind every Twitch streamer is a community. Sleightlymusical breaks silence on Lilypichu and OfflineTV drama – Dexerto
Sleightlymusical breaks silence on Lilypichu and OfflineTV drama Instagram: Albert ChangTwitch streamer Albert ‘Sleightlymusical’ Chang has broken his silence on rumors that claim he was unfaithful to girlfriend Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki, admitting he believes he’s made “the worst decision of my life.” OfflineTV fans and the internet community alike have been alight with drama surrounding LilyPichu’s relationship, after a series of subtweets from Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Federico “Fedmyster” Gaytan suggested Chang had cheated on Ki. LilyPichu commented on the rumors on November 10, admitting she felt “forced to make a statement” and claiming that she still loved Chang “very much” despite feeling “heartbroken” over their recent separation. Now, Chang has broken his silence to confirm what many already suspected: he had been “unfaithful” to girlfriend Lily, and caused their now-very public breakup. “I made the worst decision of my life,” he admitted in a Twitlonger on November 12. “I chose to be unfaithful to Lily, and caused her an excruciating amount of pain,” he continued. “I’m incredibly sorry for my selfish and irredeemable behavior. I betrayed her trust and love for me, and for that, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to atone for it.” Chang, who rose to fame on Twitch through his involvement with stream-team OfflineTV and broadcasting both magic tricks and music under the title ‘Sleightlymusical,’ also revealed that he would be stepping away from streaming indefinitely. “I’ll be taking an indefinite hiatus from content creation to reflect and spend some time alone,” he revealed to his followers. “I’m sorry for the people I’ve hurt in all of our communities. I’m sorry for the friends I let down at OfflineTV, and most of all I’m sorry for hurting you, Lily.” Despite what Chang admitted to, it seems that Lilypichu really was being genuine when she admitted to still loving her ex-boyfriend, delivering what seemed to be one final online message in relation to the drama. “Take care and be safe,” Lily replied to Chang’s post. While Sleightlymusical’s cheating confirmation may put to bed many of the rumors that have been swirling around the scandal over the past few days, a number of figureheads in the streaming community have already weighed in on the matter. Chief among them was OfflineTV founder William ‘Scarra’ Li, who asked for people to not “sh*t on my friends” for how they reacted on social media. World of Warcraft Classic star Asmongold also added his two cents on the topic before Chang dropped his statement, telling his fans that if they were interested in the “he said, she said” drama, they should “get a f*cking life.”

Sleepy breaks xQc’s record of consecutive Overwatch competitive matches in marathon Twitch stream – Dexerto
Sleepy breaks xQc’s record of consecutive Overwatch competitive matches in marathon Twitch stream Overwatch LeagueSan Francisco Shock player Nikola ‘Sleepy’ Andrews played enough Overwatch competitive matches in a row, without breaks, to beat the unofficial record set by streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel earlier in the year. Sleepy ended his marathon Twitch stream by tweeting out that playing Overwatch for over 24 hours was actually all an accident. During the stream, Sleepy played over 75 matches of Competitive Overwatch, at least 10 more than xQc’s 65 matches without a break back in July, which has been regarded as the unofficial record ever since. Sleepy investigated a player on stream during the streak who seemed to be using dishonest methods on Widowmaker, eventually concluding it could just have been the luckiest shot of that player’s life. Sleepy is currently signed to the San Francisco Shock as a flex support player and, like most other Overwatch League pros, has plenty of time to stream during the OWL offseason. ok just accidentally streamed for 24 hours, and played over 75+ ranked games with no breaks. apparently i beat @xQc record of ranked games in one sitting rofl goodnight — sleepy (@sleepy) October 2, 2018 There’s no word yet on whether xQc has heard or even cares that his record has been broken, but he could go back and try to claim it, if only for the bragging rights. Sleepy will probably be streaming regularly until OWL Season 2 starts in 2019, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be going for any more record-breaking, marathon streams anytime soon.

SleightlyMusical and AvocadoPeeled under fire for LilyPichu apologies – Dexerto
SleightlyMusical and AvocadoPeeled under fire for LilyPichu apologies OfflineTV members Albert ‘SleightlyMusical’ Chang and Sarah ‘AvocadoPeeled’ Lee have come under fire because of their apologies to Chang’s former girlfriend, Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki, after being caught out having an affair. Rumors started to unfurl in mid-November that the two had been having an affair, with several other members of the OfflineTV streamer group subtweeting on November 10, 2019. On the same day, LilyPichu put out a TwitLonger explaining that she is no longer with Chang, apologizing for her friends’ tweets and saying that she still loves and cares about both her friends and her ex-boyfriend very much, with no mention of his infidelity. It wasn’t until a couple of days later that Chang confirmed he had been unfaithful in a TwitLonger posted on November 12, apologizing for his behavior. This was followed by a post from Lee, confirming she was the other half of the affair. While an apology from both parties seems fair, it didn’t take long for fans to pick up on something peculiar with their apologies – in that they looked almost identical. SleightlyMusical’s apology: “I made the worst decision of my life. I chose to be unfaithful to Lily, and caused her an excruciating amount of pain. I’m incredibly sorry for my selfish and irredeemable behavior. I betrayed her trust and love for me, and for that, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to atone for it. I’ll be taking an indefinite hiatus from content creation to reflect and spend some time alone. I’m sorry for the people I’ve hurt in all of our communities, I’m sorry for the friends I let down at Offline.TV, and most of all I’m sorry for hurting you, Lily.” AvocadoPeeled’s apology: “No one deserves the level of pain I caused, especially not Lily: someone who has only shown me kindness. My choices were immensely selfish, and the levels of betrayal go beyond repair. She does not deserve to suffer like this. Nothing I write could ever be enough, nothing I say could possibly change anything. It will never be enough. There is only reparation in who I choose to be from here on out. I will be taking time away from the public for self-reflection. I’m sorry for the extreme hurt I’ve caused to everyone in the communities, to those who I could once call ‘friend’, and to Lily most of all. I’m so sorry.” Although the wording is mostly different, the format and patterns of what they say is incredibly similar, with many fans even conspiring that the two came up with their apologies together. Starting by directly addressing Lily and how much pain they caused her, both apologies then mention how they betrayed her and that they will be able to “atone” or “repair” the damage caused. Both then mention that they will be taking time away to reflect on what has occurred. The pair use similar words throughout their apologies, with both addressing the “hurt” they’ve caused to people in their “communities.” In particular, the final paragraphs of each apology are almost word-for-word identical, which definitely brings into dispute the sincerity of the apologies. It’s unlikely anybody involved will choose to address these particular allegations, especially considering the nature of the situation they’re involved in, but it’s unlikely to die down for a while. Neither Chang, Lee or Ki have spoken publicly since making their statements on the incident, but it’s likely they will come back soon enough with clearer minds and maybe shed some light on the situation if they feel that it’s necessary.

Sleeping IRL streamer gets a shock as adorable Husky demands attention – Dexerto
Sleeping IRL streamer gets a shock as adorable Husky demands attention An IRL streamer who goes under the name ‘Demon Andy’ had his sleep disrupted by an excited Husky, who just sought out a bit of attention. The rise of IRL streaming, both on Twitch and YouTube, has given way to some brilliant on-air moments. Streamers have been able to document their whole lives in-front an audience, be it at home or on the go in public. Some even take it that one step further and open up their family and friends to their broadcast – making it quite like an online version of Big Brother. While sometimes things don’t go to plan in the wrong way, other times, viewers are left with a completely wholesome moment that they can laugh about for a few days to come. During his August 6 stream, Demon Andy was asleep in-front of the ‘IRL house 24/7 camera‘ when he was rudely interrupted by the excitable Husky. The dog started by sniffing around, surveying the situation, before bouncing around and on the sofa. Read More: Top 20 most followed Twitch streamers – The streamer did his best to calm the dog down but failed. “Hey, stop, stop, stop,” he called out, as the Husky continued to bounce from one end of the sofa to the other. Ultimately, the dog took things up a notch by extending its bouncing to the other chairs in the living room – taking a run around the opposing sofa, before jumping on to the armchair, and leaping towards Demon Andy. Even though the streamer attempted to get back asleep, his attempts were in vain as the Husky continued its running and bouncing assault around the living room. Read More: Dr Disrespect slams “clueless” Twitch – Again, ‘Demon Andy’ pleaded with it to stop, but his calls fell upon deaf ears. “Be nice, be nice,” he called out, before the Dog decided that it had enough of tormenting him and set upon stealing something from his table. Ultimately, with the Dog’s attention taken elsewhere, the streamer was able to get his head back down and drift off for another few winks of sleep. Maybe next time, he’ll be able to keep the Dog secured in its own bed, just so it doesn’t decide to pick on him during the night.

Sleepwalking TikToker caught “talking to ghosts” in creepy surveillance footage – Dexerto
Sleepwalking TikToker caught “talking to ghosts” in creepy surveillance footage TikTok/celinaspookybooA sleepwalking TikToker is going viral after she revealed scary home surveillance footage of conversations she was having with ghosts. Paranormal events on TikTok are a dime a dozen, but once in a while you get a clip that truly stands out and gets shared around. In this case, it’s a video of ‘celinaspookyboo’ talking with ghosts. Celina Myers is fairly well-known on TikTok with only 26 million followers that watch her sleepwalking antics and the madness that she gets up to at night. However, according to the TikToker, she was recently in Salem and spoke to a psychic who explained to her that she was clairvoyant and had supernatural abilities. As a result, she says she has the ability to speak with dead people. TikToker chats with dead people in viral video In a clip uploaded on September 28, Myers explained her situation leading into surveillance footage of her sleepwalking antics. “When I’m sleepwalking, I’m not actually talking in my dreams. I’m talking to ghosts. Keep that in mind,” she said before a compilation of her conversations began playing. (click here if TikTok fails to load) In the clips, the sleepwalker can be heard speaking to all sorts of invisible entities, asking one of them if “the 70s were sick” before putting on an accent and asking if they would “like a beverage.” In the comments, the TikToker noted how her house was built in the 70s, implying that whoever she was speaking with could have some connection to her home. Another batch has the TikToker repeating “to live is to suffer” before eventually joking “to live is to supper.” So far, over 1 million users have viewed the clip so far and have shared some of their own sleepwalking experiences with one even claiming she got out of bed, took her clothes off and video called a friend. While it’s not clear if Myers really is talking with ghosts, at least she’s managed to make others comfortable discussing sleepwalking and how it affects them.

Slash & Dash: Customer furious as DoorDash driver deflates her tire after not tipping – Dexerto
Slash & Dash: Customer furious as DoorDash driver deflates her tire after not tipping DoorDash | TikTok: k_evans78A DoorDash delivery went awry with details posted in a viral TikTok. The customer’s tire was punctured with a rock by a disgruntled delivery person when they weren’t handed a tip. Drivers for the big delivery apps are a seemingly contentious lot. Prone to acts of heroism and villainy in equal measure. Tips seem to be an especially touchy matter with those on the road for DoorDash. This is the second time this month that a driver’s response to tipping practices has gone viral. In a new TikTok posted by user k_evans78, she shows footage of her delivery driver slashing her tires with a rock. This was in response to not receiving a tip after allegedly poor service. The video was captured by her home security camera and begins with the customer Keitha Evans collecting her delivery of water. The driver walks away but returns minutes later to do the deed. They’re seen grabbing a rock from the customer’s driveway and digging it into her tire to let the air out. “Look at him run, he really did the dash,” the voiceover in the video transcribed. The comments section was divided on who was in the right and some claimed Evans deserved what happened. “That actually happens everywhere. [People] don’t tip so [people] get upset. Next time tip or get your own water,” one user said. When questioned about why she didn’t tip, Evans defended herself claiming that the DoorDash driver fumbled with the order. “It took forever and he delivered it to the wrong address then got mad at me because he went to the wrong house,” she explained. Other users have defended her outright saying tips are not an obligation. “The way y’all in these comments acting like a tip is mandatory is crazy. I don’t tip until after I get my order. Y’all feel so entitled to a tip,” one said. Evans has said that she has pressed charges against the driver for property damage and sent an official complaint to DoorDash about the driver’s behavior.
