Selena Gomez defends relationship with Benny Blanco Wikimedia Commons, Anthony QuintanoSelena Gomez blasted fans after confirming her relationship with record producer Benny Blanco. Part of the charm and reliability of Selena Gomez’s TikTok has been her various clips lamenting how single she is. As recent as September 2023, the singer posted a clip using “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. Gomez even released a song over the summer called “Single Soon,” in which she details the crash of a relationship and the inevitable single life. “I’m gonna do what I wanna do,” she sings. However, it looks like love is in the air again, as Gomez confirmed her relationship with Benny Blanco via Instagram. Fans, on the other hand, were less than enthused, prompting the pop singer to post a series of responses in defense of her new beau. Selena Gomez blasts fans after confirming relationship with Benny Blanco Selena Gomez first confirmed dating rumors by leaving the simple word “facts” on a post made by Popfactions on Instagram. Her comment was met with a fan frenzy, many of whom couldn’t quite understand how the two ended up together. “Selena has the world at her feet, could date a rich, educated, mature handsome man that would treat her with love and respect, share her same values and life goals,” wrote one user, “but she keeps on choosing these crusty, problematic music men.” Gomez was quick on the defense, simply writing, “Lol oh sweet girl. So off.” Other comments she left were a bit more incisive. “I know what’s best for me and I will fight till I get what I deserve,” she wrote, responding to another scathing comment. “I appreciate your misguided input but I’m growing.” She then added: “Don’t feel free to grow with me just know I’m not going to be with a f***boy ever again.” Many fans took to bringing Justin Bieber into the conversation. “Benny is friends with Justin and worships him every other day,” one user wrote. “Birds of a feather. You have no self-respect that’s why you dare men who hate you.” It has not been confirmed whether Gomez’s last comment was directed toward her ex Justin Bieber. But many speculate it might be the case. Even if it is, Gomez appears to be happier than she ever has. For more entertainment news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

The ‘Lose You To Love Me’ singer shared a seemingly normal video of herself applying lip liner from her own makeup brand ‘Rare Beauty’ when her grandmother interrupted to ask a question about Gomez‘s love life. In the viral clip, which has garnered over 11 million views since being posted two days ago, her nana is heard off-camera asking “So how did you end it with that guy?” Gomez’s priceless reaction to her nana shows that she was caught completely off guard, as she responded “Uhh, I’ll tell you in a second” before bursting into laughter. She initially captioned the video “Thanks nana” with a smiley face with its tongue out, before changing it to “rarebeauty @Rare Beauty I mean….” The text on the TikTok video reads “I have no words”, but unlike Gomez, her fans have a lot of words to say about the unexpected tea her nana spilled. TikTok reacts to Selena Gomez’s secret romance “YEAH SELENA HOW DID U END IT WITH THAT GUY” one curious user commented, receiving over 150,000 likes. “SELENA YOU CAN’T LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT” another user chimed in, also wondering who the mystery man is. “WE ALL WANT TO KNOW” added actress Karalynn Dunton. Since her second breakup with Justin Bieber in 2018, who went on to marry Hailey Bieber, Gomez has not officially been linked to anyone.

It has been a rough few weeks for Nijisanji starting with Selen’s latest cover song getting privated leaving her fans furious. This was shortly followed by the worrying news that Selen had been admitted to hospital but thankfully the Nijisanji Liver was released a few days later. This eventful period for Nijisanji continued into 2024 with EN legend Pomu Rainpuff announcing her graduation on January 5. These controversial events have piled up one by one leading more and more viewers to mount pressure on the agency. Now another development regarding Selen Tatsuki has been revealed leaving fans even more uncertain about her future. Nijisanji VTuber Selen Tatsuki will not attend ANIME Impulse Nijisanji announced on X/Twitter that popular Liver Selen Tatsuki has withdrawn from ANIME Impulse citing “unforeseen reasons,” as the cause. Selen Tatsuki responds to Nijisanji EN termination and alleges a “toxic” environment – Dexerto
Selen Tatsuki responds to Nijisanji EN termination and alleges a “toxic” environment NijisanjiSelen Tatsuki has accused Nijisanji of having a toxic environment, after the VTuber agency terminated her contract for several alleged breaches. In a lengthy statement posted on the Nijisanji EN Official X/Twitter account, the popular VTuber agency announced the termination of Selen Tatsuki’s contract. Nijisanji cited “repeated breaches,” of its guidelines that led to the eventual deterioration of the relationship between management and Selen Tatsuki. This followed the controversial privating of Selen’s last cover song and the announcement she had been hospitalized shortly after. However, Selen has quickly responded to Nijisanji’s statement, giving her side of the story on how her termination came to be. Selen Tatsuki criticizes Nijisanji on alt account Within minutes of Nijisanji announcing her termination, Selen Tatsuki posted a scathing response on her alt account, Dokibird, accusing the agency of harboring a “toxic and poor environment.” Her reply reads, “I will not be silenced anymore. [In December], I was hospitalized for an attempt that was caused by a built up of bullying from within&being in a toxic&poor environment for numerous months that led to my breaking point. I requested to leave first but on more neutral terms on 26th Jan.” Reassuring her fans of a more positive future, she continued, “I will be returning here soon as I will like to celebrate Lunar New Year with all of you. This holiday means a lot to me and my Chinese culture as someone that lived in China for a big portion of my life. It should be the start of happiness and new beginnings.” In a separate tweet posted shortly after, Dokibird insisted, “I am still me, every memory and achievement I’ve earned is still me. They cannot take that away. Please let everyone know that this is where I am now, I hope you all find me again and we can laugh together again.” Selen Tatsuki’s response on her alt account conflicts with Nijisanji’s announcement with the VTuber agency claiming Selen threatened them with legal action while Dokibird stated she pursued a mutual exit on neutral terms. This is not the first time Nijisanji has seen backlash from a terminated Liver. In March 2023, Zaion Lanza was fired for “multiple contract breaches,” but later responded on her alt defending herself in a Twitlonger that led fans to question Nijisanji EN’s management.

While their results weren’t what they had hoped for, the three created good memories and have helped build a bridge between the two branches that didn’t previously exist. This has now resulted in something huge for fans to look forward to. The floodgates between NIJISANJI EN and Hololive EN have opened as the two biggest VTuber agencies in the world have hosted a spree of collabs between their talents. With Regis Altare and Alban Knox breaking the ice, there’s been plenty more announced since including the long-awaited PomuTori stream of Takanashi Kiara and Pomu Rainpuff. Selen Tatsuki has been getting involved too, with NIJISANJI EN’s dragon pairing up with Hololive ID duo Kureiji Ollie and Vestia Zeta in an Apex Legends stream for the ages. There’s more where that came from too, with Selen hinting at plenty more crossovers between the agencies. “I’m really happy that I was finally able to play Apex with Ollie and Zeta. They’re really fun girls to talk to,” she said on stream. “That’s not going to be the last Holo collab too. I’m not going to say anything yet but there’ll be another set of Hololive members I’ll be collabing with in Apex after TEMPUS. “I don’t know when it’s going to be, I’ll be messaging them about it with a date and time.” While a lot of the relationships between the two agencies’ talents have brewed off-stream, the collabs now happening on stream signify they are getting a lot closer. Even a pairing like Selen and Ollie — who longed for a collab for months — are getting to know each other better. “I can’t wait to play more — I’m down to play with them off-stream too. I hope they enjoyed it a lot because I definitely enjoyed it a lot.” Exactly how many are going to be planned remains to be seen, but the Hololive and NIJISANJI collabs are here to stay. The initial rush and volume will plateau, however the opportunity is now always there.

This has been something we’ve been trying to organize for the longest time, and then maybe next week it’ll actually happen… but maybe you’ll finally see the zombie playing with me.” Those were Selen Tatsuki’s fateful words back in November 2021 hyping up a collab between her and Hololive’s Kureiji Ollie, one many were hoping for. Selen Tatsuki gives final statement on Nijisanji termination: “I want to move on” – Dexerto
Selen Tatsuki gives final statement on Nijisanji termination: “I want to move on” YouTube: DokibirdDokibird, formerly known as Selen Tatsuki, has given a full statement amid her termination from Nijisanji, saying she wanted to keep the situation behind the scenes. On February 5, Nijisanji found themselves in hot water after terminating Selen Tatsuki’s contract over breaches in her contract, to which the Liver quickly responded, alleging a “toxic” work environment that resulted in her being bullied for numerous months. As a knock-on-effect, this has led to planned collaborations with the agency’s other Livers being canceled, and an outpouring of support for Selen, who now goes by her alt, Dokibird. Days after the allegations came to light, Doki has now followed up and made a full statement on the matter in her return stream as Doki, shedding light on the matter. Clip starts at 2:31:00 Although she couldn’t reveal legal details about the matter, she claimed she was hospitalized with the agency knowing why so, and that she tried to leave Nijisanji mutually, however, was blindsided by Nijisanji’s announcement. “I wouldn’t have made the statement if the announcement didn’t go up the way it did, and I was willing to keep the info hidden to the public. And I never truly wanted the public to know why I was in the hospital, but I had to be honest for the truth,” Doki said. Doki continued to talk about her hospitalization, “I was in the hospital for an attempt, and I provided medical documents of everything that happened that proved it as well. As is the therapy session and the doctor evaluation. Everyone knew I was in the hospital, and the reason behind it a few days before I was discharged. And I was not repressing something that happened once that pushed me to it, but it was a build-up that stemmed from multiple months that led to my breaking point.” She ended off the final response to the situation, “Let’s not harass or bully anybody, I already how that felt, I want us to be adults and not high schoolers, and I want to move on.”

Selen Tatsuki hits Pred in Apex Legends for first time since joining Nijisanji – Dexerto
Selen Tatsuki hits Pred in Apex Legends for first time since joining Nijisanji NijisanjiVtuber Selen Tatsuki has managed to reach Predator rank in Apex Legends for the first time since joining Nijisanji, becoming the agency’s first talent to do so. The Vtuber world is no stranger to talented Apex Legends players. The likes of Shibuya Hal, Kamito, and Hololive’s Minato Aqua have built up a reputation thanks to their skills and Selen Tatsuki is no different. The Nijisanji Vtuber reached Predator back when it was exclusive to the Top 500 players for each platform before developer Respawn changed this in Season 8. However, after joining the Vtuber agency, Selen transitioned to variety streaming and dedicated less time to Apex. This led to a decline in skill and the eventual frustrations at VSaikyo 5. Following this she got serious about ranking up and has now reaped the rewards of that effort. Selen Tatsuki regains Predator rank in Apex Legends As announced on her official Twitter, Nijisanji’s Selen Tatsuki has reached Predator for the first time since joining the Vtuber agency. This climb took three days of dedicated grinding alongside a variety of Apex streamers including iPN and XSET Nocturnal. The announcing Tweet reads: “It’s finally over. 37,000 RP in three days to see Pred again. Thank you for coming to watch this journey, I finally got to touch Pred as a Nijisanji liver.” Continuing on, Selen slightly downplayed the achievement: “I don’t want to say that I’m the first one to hit it on stream as a Nijisanji liver as I believe touching Pred and ending Pred are two different things and early grinding affects it so much. I’m just happy to be able to see it once in my career here.” Selen becoming Nijisanji’s first talent to hit Predator in Apex is a big accomplishment. The popular Vtuber agency is enormous employing close to 200 talents across both Nijisanji and Nijisanji EN. On May 6, Nijisanji hosted NijiCustoms, an in-house tournament where 60 talents went head to head to see who was best. Selen’s team consisting of herself, Bonnivier Pranaja, and Aza managed to win two of the six games during the event.

Selen Tatsuki fans beg VTuber to leave Nijisanji after cover song controversy – Dexerto
Selen Tatsuki fans beg VTuber to leave Nijisanji after cover song controversy NijisanjiEmotions have flared up in the VTuber community with some Selen Tatuski fans calling for the dragon VTuber to leave Nijisanji after her latest cover song was privated by the agency. Selen Tatsuki has been hit by another controversy with Nijisanji having previously banned the talent from hosting international events for an unspecified reason. This time around the community uproar follows the privatizing of Selen’s latest cover song, Last Cup of Coffee. Despite featuring a custom MV, taking months to produce, and costing “a lot of money,” it was privated by Nijisanji just three hours after being published. Distraught by the news many of her fans have criticized the VTuber agency and some are even calling for Selen to leave altogether. Nijisanji privates Selen Tatsuki’s new cover song angering her fans Sharing the disappointing news, Selen Tatsuki posted on Twitter: “Hello I apologize but management has privated the Song. Please feel free to reupload since a lot of money and effort was done by so many dragoons.” She continued on to admit that she was “really sad that this happened on Christmas,” but hoped her fans would “still be able to listen to it in some way,” with several reuploads surfacing on YouTube after this tweet was posted. Furious about the news independent VTuber Flipsie replied: “Please Selen, I’m begging you not to renew the contract. You deserve so much more than a company that actively sabotages you every chance they get.” Another prevalent voice in the VTuber community in Koefficient responded: “I love all the livers @ EN they are so motherf**kingly talented but they only are getting nerfed and restricted by their own management and preventing them from spreading their wings and flourishing.” Another disgruntled fan claimed “Niji treats Selen like absolute sh*t which is so upsetting because you can tell how passionate she is and how hard she works. She deserves so much better,” with this tweet receiving a lot of support. While this latest development has been a setback for Selen Tatsuki the dragon VTuber has also achieved a lot during her time in Nijisanji. On December 9, she hosted the TSB HoloNiji Apex Custom which turned out to be a massive success. Despite the positives, Selen has been on the receiving end of multiple management decisions leading some Dragoons to encourage her to move on from Nijisanji. It’s currently unclear what the future holds with Selen yet to follow up on her initial tweet.

Selen Tatsuki fans “fear the worst” after VTuber’s one-month absence – Dexerto
Selen Tatsuki fans “fear the worst” after VTuber’s one-month absence NijisanjiSelen Tatsuki fans are beginning to fear the worst and wonder if the Nijisanji VTuber will be leaving the agency following a one-month absence with no updates. Popular VTuber Selen Tatsuki uploaded a cover song of Last Cup of Coffee on Boxing Day. However, this video was made private by Nijisanji shortly after prompting Selen to then encourage fans to reupload it. Shortly after this, the Nijisanji member was hospitalized before eventually being discharged on December 31. These events plus earlier controversies including an unexplained ban preventing her from hosting international events have led fans to encourage her to leave Nijisanji. However, her community has now pivoted and is instead concerned that something worse could be coming after a month of silence. Selen Tatsuki’s uncertain Nijisanji future Upset by the lack of transparency, an X/Twitter post that has received 8,500 likes has pleaded with Nijisanji to provide an update on her situation, “…I and many other Dragoons have been worried about her well-being, and I think it’s gone long enough to not hear from Nijisanji directly.” They continued outing the community’s main concerns, “It has now been almost a month since we’ve last heard from or about Selen,” followed by, “During this past month, not a single current NijiEN member has even mentioned her since the cup of coffee MV issue or the tweet stating she was in and discharged from the hospital, giving a perception as if they’re not allowed to.” After highlighting that Pomu, a member who was already leaving, is the only talent to have acknowledged Selen, this post then admitted Dragoons were beginning to “fear the worst possible situations,” with Nijisanji’s silence “causing disarray as to what is happening to her.” This push for more transparency was not limited to one tweet either with one indie VTuber describing it as “disrespectful,” and another fan’s highly supported post believing the silence of other Nijisanji members is “eerie,” with them questioning why no one has addressed the situation. Nijisanji has not commented on Selen Tatsuki’s circumstances beyond confirming that she wouldn’t attend ANIME Impulse for “unforeseen reasons,” on January 11. This was initially believed to be linked to her health concerns but some fans are now beginning to grow suspicious something bigger might be at play.

Dokibird is Selen Tatsuki’s alt account that she created content on before joining Nijisanji EN in July 2021. Upon awakening, Dokibird paid tribute to her fans posting on X/Twitter, “I hope I can fix my sleep schedule before I stream again because I just woke up… BUT 200k SUBSCRIBERS ALREADY???? I never thought I will actually get a playbutton, let alone before my first stream.” Her fans have plenty to look forward to with Dokibird announcing her return YouTube stream will be held on February 7 at 17:00 PST and 20:00 EST. For European viewers, that’s February 8 at 01:00 GMT and 02:00 CEST. Following Selen Tatsuki’s termination, Nijisanji has also been criticized for selling new merchandise of its EN branch members less than a day after the controversial decision.

Security remove disruptive Tory Lanez fans from Megan Thee Stallion performance – Dexerto
Security remove disruptive Tory Lanez fans from Megan Thee Stallion performance TikTok: valeriewangoA “teenage boy infestation” chanting Tory Lanez’s name was forcibly removed from a Megan Thee Stallion performance for being disruptive and behaving in a “heinous” manner. Earlier this month Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, in 2020. The altercation took place after a party at influencer Kylie Jenner’s house and was the result of an alleged argument in which Pete criticized Peterson’s rapping. Pete claimed Peterson shouted at her to “Dance” alongside a racial slur before firing at her feet. She told the court that the incident had damaged not only her physical health but also her mental health and career. But despite the court’s verdict, there are some still convinced Peterson was not the shooter. Ever since his court case concluded, Peterson’s fans have defended him; calling for him to be let go or have his sentence reduced — and they are willing to go to war. A TikToker, ‘valeriewango’, filmed an incident at Outside Lands that took place moments before Pete’s set. The video shows security having to step in and remove a “teenage boy infestation” after they were repeatedly chanting “Tory Lanez”. Calling the boys “idiotic”, Valerie said the disruptive group was “shoving girls” only to have “the audacity to run away all scared” once security got involved. As the boys were lifted over barricades by security and escorted out, the crowd could be heard cheering with many clapping to celebrate their departure. With the video garnering over 100,000 likes, Valerie’s TikTok was bombarded with support as commenters praised security for acting fast. “It’s the crowd participation for me!” one said. Another wrote, “This is my favorite short film.” Pete has also spoken candidly about the shooting and the internet’s reaction of “skepticism and judgment”. Writing in a guest essay for The New York Times, she said the doubt following her allegations was representative of how Black women were “disrespected and disregarded in so many areas of life.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

See what happened when Tyler1 attempted the Fortnite Floss for the first time – Dexerto
See what happened when Tyler1 attempted the Fortnite Floss for the first time Popular League of Legends streamer Tyler ‘Tyler1’ Steinkamp had a hilarious moment on Twitch when he attempted to perform the Floss dance. Tyler1 was streaming the MOBA when members of his chat began talking about the Floss dance, which rose to prominence this year when it was added to popular battle royale game Fortnite. The streamer clearly doesn’t keep up with the latest memes, as he immediately asked his chat: “Wait, what’s the floss? The one where it’s in the front?” to his entertained audience. Steinkamp rose from his chair and performed his attempt at the popular dance, swinging his arms around amusingly as he told his viewers: “I don’t know how to do it!” Read More: Fortnite world record broken for PC Squads kills – ft SpaceLyon, Replays, NickEh30, and TurkeyLips! – Tyler’s chat clearly found the moment funny, as responses of “OMEGALOL”, and laughter flooded in. One Twitch user even rated the dance as a 10/10, while some less impressed viewers simply commented: “Yikes”. The dance originally rose to popularity when Katy Perry invited Instagram star Backpack Kid to “cut a rug” with her during a performance on Saturday Night Live. While the dance became a viral meme after Backpack Kid’s appearance on SNL, it wasn’t until the dance was added as an emote on Fortnite that the Floss became a mainstream internet hit. Recently, a European gym announced that they would be hosting Fortnite dance classes called Emote Royale in an attempt to get young people away from their screens and start doing some exercise. Tyler1 may need to take note of these classes if he wants to improve his Floss!

Second “not real” plane video goes viral as man tries to escape Ryanair flight – Dexerto
Second “not real” plane video goes viral as man tries to escape Ryanair flight TikTokJust days after a woman went viral for screaming at a “not real” person onboard a plane, a man is making waves online for having a similar outburst. On July 4, a woman was filmed having what some believed to be a “hallucination” on a plane, screaming about someone. The footage soon spread like wildfire across social media, eventually resulting in the person she was going on about being identified and revealing himself in a TikTok video. Now, another incident is going viral with a man completely freaking out and yelling at someone who may not even be real. Second “not real” plane video takes the internet by surprise On July 6, a Twitter user named ‘drloupis’ posted a video of a man onboard a Ryanair flight going wild and yelling at an unknown person before being restrained. “A British man was allegedly disturbed so badly by the passenger sitting next to him on a plane, that he tried to open the door of the plane and leave,” he captioned the viral clip. “First a woman in US now this. What is going on?” According to news reports, the incident happened on July 1, a few days before the other woman’s viral plane video. The man in question is reportedly a British boxer was returning from Croatia’s Hideout festival and the woman filming believed he was either drunk or under the influence of drugs. As he demanded staff open the door, two passengers restrained him and he was eventually arrested. However, the flight had to be delayed two hours as a result. “This flight from Zadar to London Stansted returned to the stand when an individual passenger became disruptive while preparing for takeoff. The passenger was removed from the aircraft by local police,” Ryanair said in a statement. Amazingly, these are hardly the first wild plane clips to go viral recently. Earlier this year, two men brawled on a Southwest flight after a man’s wife was bumped into.

MrBeast’s ‘secret’ brother finally reveals himself in hilarious video – Dexerto
MrBeast’s ‘secret’ brother finally reveals himself in hilarious video Instagram @mrbeast / YouTube: MrBroPopular challenge creator Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s ‘secret’ brother revealed himself on August 28, when he unveiled his YouTube channel in a hilarious video that has fans seeing double. After being teased previously on multiple occasions, MrBeast’s older brother CJ has finally joined YouTube, and has made his debut with the aptly named channel ‘MrBro’. Proving that the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree, his debut video cleverly copies and satirizes the popular YouTuber’s challenge videos – as a second rate knock off. MrBeast’s ‘secret’ brother MrBeast’s older brother joked that he is ‘unknown’, although he has been featured in some of his younger brother’s videos in the past. And the popular YouTube star has actually teased his sibling joining the video-sharing platform previously. On March 17, MrBeast asked his fans on Twitter if his older brother should make a YouTube channel. And after getting a great reception, he announced on his social media on August 25 that CJ was launching his channel. “My brother launches his channel next week! He has some massive videos coming up and i’m very proud of him. Go Subscribe! (he is going to be dropping some bangers)” MrBeast tweeted. My brother launches his channel next week! He has some massive videos coming up and i’m very proud of him. Go Subscribe! (he is going to be dropping some bangers)https://t.co/QAJwe0LIe5 — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) August 25, 2019 Hilariously, MrBro’s first video is a compilation of him re-creating many of his younger brothers iconic challenge videos, except with the twist that he’s poor, so they are cheap knock offs. “Unfortunately I’m poor, so I’ve decided to a dumbed down version of my brother’s videos,” he said. CJ then showed clips from his brother’s videos and then ‘his version’ of them which are lacking. Take for instance MrBeast’s iconic challenge where his last friend to take their hand off the house actually won it. In MrBro’s rendition, the same friends compete, but this time for a tiny Lego house. His Tesla challenge where the last one to leave got to keep the luxury car is re-created with his friends fighting over a children’s mini toy car, and cramming themselves to technically fit in it. CJ even pokes fun of his younger brother’s ‘subscribe to PewDiePie’ campaign, as all he could afford was to dress up in a costume and wave a sign on the side of the road. MrBro went to great detail to parody his brother, even down to his YouTube channel’s header image. MrBeast reads “subscribe with notifications on, or I will take all your cookies”. But his channel has the same image except it says “Subscribe with notifications on, or you’ll have bad luck for 6.9 years”. The video wrapped up with a heartwarming moment when MrBro reminisced about his younger brother first starting out. “I remember when Jimmy was 14 years old in his room, editing his videos super late at night of Minecraft. Just to post it and maybe get 100, 200 views. But I remember how proud he was and how hard he worked,” he said. Despite only just launching, MrBro’s account already has over 86k subscribers as of the time of writing this article, showing that his new career as a YouTuber is off to a good start.

Searches for “offside rules” skyrocket after Kai Cenat illegally scores in Sidemen Charity Match – Dexerto
Searches for “offside rules” skyrocket after Kai Cenat illegally scores in Sidemen Charity Match YouTube: KaiCenatLiveSearches for “offside” and “soccer rules” skyrocketed after the Sidemen Charity Football Match yesterday, when Kai Cenat’s goal was nullified after he was found offside. The Sidemen Charity Football Match saw influencers from across the world come together and raise money for charity with a football game streamed out to more than two million people. While the Sidemen FC, spearheaded by KSI, ended up winning the game overall, an early move from Kai Cenat looked like it could have been a goal. However, due to the complicated rules of offside, the goal ended up being negated. For many viewers, this apparently didn’t make much sense, because search trends revealed that “offside” and “soccer rules” shot up massively after this moment. Kai Cenat offside prompts massive search for “soccer rules” in US According to Google Trends, searches for “soccer rules” and “offside” saw massive spikes around the time of the Sidemen Charity Football Match yesterday (September 9). The biggest spike occurred in America, where searches increased by almost 200%. This makes sense, considering Americans are the ones who call it soccer rather than football, and the rules of offside are less understood. Even so, there were still massive spikes in the UK for “offside rules”, suggesting that even on home turf Brits aren’t quite up to speed with how football’s more complicated rules work. Other highlights from the game included a nail-biting exchange between IShowSpeed and KSI, where the British YouTuber taunted the younger streamer before effortlessly defending his penalty. The final score was 8-5 to Sidemen FC. Many viewers blamed the All Star’s loss on goalkeeper xQc, who finished with a score of 0.3, the lowest in the game. For all the highlights from the Sidemen Charity Match, check out our full coverage of the game and how much money they raised here.

Sean O’Malley explains why Logan Paul “will never” fight Paddy Pimblett in UFC – Dexerto
Sean O’Malley explains why Logan Paul “will never” fight Paddy Pimblett in UFC Instagram/sugaseanmma/loganpaul/YouTube/UFCLogan Paul wants to fight rising MMA star Pady Pimblett in the UFC, but bantamweight sensation Sean O’Malley doesn’t think Dana White would never let it happen. YouTuber sensation Logan Paul has made quite a name for himself in the fighting world, boxing legendary champion Floyd Mayweather in 2021 and recently making his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38. Now, the influencer has his sights set on the UFC and wants to take on up-and-comer Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett in his MMA debut – something he believes can happen at 185 pounds. However, fellow UFC star Sean O’Malley has explained why the fight has little chance of actually happening despite understanding why Logan made the challenge to begin with. (segment begins at 15:40 f0r mobile users) Sean O’Malley says Dana White won’t let Paul vs Pimblett happen On his podcast, O’Malley addressed Paul’s challenge, explaining how Logan had discussed the possibility with him and how he warned the YouTuber that a fight was unlikely. “He messaged me that a couple of weeks ago… but I told him, ‘Dana [White] will never f**king do that.’ It doesn’t matter how big of a fight that is, if Logan goes in there and beats Paddy, Paddy can’t be a star,” he explained. “He can’t be, he lost to Logan Paul.” O’Malley also praised Logan as being a good boxer who can wrestle, too – and with enough training, his size might be too much for Paddy to overcome. (segment begins at 1:55 for mobile users) That all said, ‘Sugar’ Sean understands why Logan would want to fight Pimblett, saying on The Schmo that, “He probably looks at him and Paddy’s fat as sh*t and looks like he’s 200 pounds, and Logan’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m around that weight.’” “Paddy’s a massive prospect right now, blowing up, so it makes sense for Logan to call out someone with a name like that,” he added. Thus far, Dana White hasn’t commented on the possibility of Logan Paul squaring off against Pimblett, but the UFC boss said he’s open to The Maverick fighting in the octagon. Even if Logan doesn’t get to compete against Pimblett, there’s still a chance he ends up making an MMA debut in the future.

Scump reveals he and his fiancée were attacked by man with butcher’s knife – Dexerto
Scump reveals he and his fiancée were attacked by man with butcher’s knife Twitch.tv/ScumpStreamer Scump revealed that he, his fiancée Isabelle, and two of their friends had been taunted by a homeless man with a knife in Seattle as they were getting ready to go to dinner. The Halo World Championship 2023 took place in Seattle recently, where 16 teams competed for the win and a $1,000,000 prize pool that will be split amongst the qualified teams. Scump decided to livestream him watching the championship along with other streamers, including Shottzy. In the middle of the stream, Scump revealed that he hadn’t had the best time in Seattle as he and his fiancée Isabelle had a scary encounter with a homeless man the night prior. Scump told the story of how he and Isabelle had been taking engagement photos around Seattle when their evening suddenly took a dramatic turn. He said: “So we ended up finishing, we ended up going to dinner, we had a driver driving us around. Iz was changing in the backseat of the Uber for dinner. I went into the restaurant because we were about 15 minutes late for our reservation. “I went up to the hostess stand to get our table, get our reservation, and make sure we don’t lose our table, right? “So, a homeless guy was walking down the street and he has a knife like this long in his hand,” he said, holding up his hands to show the size. “Like a butcher’s knife.” Man taunts Scump and his friends with a butcher’s knife Scump continued: “He walks up to the car that Iz is in, JP and Shaul are outside of the car. He walks up to the car that Iz is in, starts circling it, stabs the front right tire, so he slices the tire. Comes up to the window and f**king smashes the window with his knife. “Keep in mind, JP and Shaul are like – to start this, by the way, he threw a f**king pill bottle at JP and Shaul, so this guy was just tweaking. So he slashes the window, he keeps walking. I thought he was gonna come in the front door of the restaurant. And then I’m like…” “If he went in there, I would have f**king oh my – what would you have done if he went in there?” Shottzy asked. “I don’t know. It was crazy,” Scump replied before continuing his story. “So he just looked f**king crazy. So then he walks past the front door. The front door is like, whenever you walk past the front door, it’s literally like, I’m at the hostess stand and it’s right there. So if he walked past the front door, he was like right there with me. He comes up to our window and points at us, points at me, and the hostess, and the other guy with the knife.” “Did he say anything?” Shottzy asked. “I mean, he was just like pointing at us through the window,” Scump said. “What were you thinking?” Shotzzy asked. “I was like ‘What the…’ I was freaking, I was like ‘what the f**k is going on?’” Scump said. “It was honestly horrifying. I thought he was gonna come in, Iz thought he was gonna open the car door. “It was sketchy as f**k.”

Summit1g baits Dr Disrespect in hilarious Twitch request – The Doc responds summit1g, drdisrespect / TwitchPopular streamer Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar has called for Twitch to help him troll Dr Disrespect, with a cheeky dig on social media. Summit almost single-handedly started the Sea of Thieves revival on the streaming platform of late, and now – with so many high profile figures from the streaming platform deciding to start playing the game – he’s started to fire some shots their way. This time, the streamer has asked permission from Twitch to start running ads on the Doc’s channel to promote his own. “Hey Twitch, I would like to run ads exclusively on Dr Disrespect’s channel advertising my own. What will that run me?” he tweeted, mentioning both of their official Twitter accounts. While the comment was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, there’s a good chance that this request could spark a war of words between the two popular personalities. Hey @Twitch I would like to run ads exclusively on @drdisrespect’s channel advertising my own. What will that run me? — summit1g (@summit1g) January 27, 2019 The initial lack of response from Dr Disrespect left people like TimTheTatman and others eagerly awaiting his reply. It didn’t take long for the Doc to respond to summit’s request, although rather than insulting his height as expected, he instead promised there was more to come. You son of a bitch. This isn’t over Summit. https://t.co/yFhiZqz4rE — Dr Disrespect (@drdisrespect) January 28, 2019 Dr Disrespect has been angered about some of Twitch’s adverts in the past, such as those promoting Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins’ New Year’s Eve event in Times Square, New York. On that occasion, he told Twitch: “Don’t do it ever again.” As such, it wasn’t too surprising to see the Doc respond in the manner he did. Given how the pair have interacted in PUBG over the last couple of years, we could certainly see some more highly entertaining battles soon enough.

Scrabble pro plays vulgar word during $60K Scrabble Championship Finals – Dexerto
Scrabble pro plays vulgar word during $60K Scrabble Championship Finals HasbroScrabble pro Ben Schoenbrun used a vulgar word to help him advance through a Championship Finals event with a $60,000 prize. A North American Scrabble group recently hosted a World Cup 2023 tournament in Albany, New York. The 31-game Championship brought several Scrabble pros together for a grand prize that totaled $60,000. Notably, the event kicked off late last month on June 30 and lasted through July 4. Several professionals participated, each one bringing their A-game to the word game-centric festivities. During the event, one contestant called on the power of profanity, spelling out an obscenity to keep their momentum going. And interestingly, they ended up winning that match and advancing to the next round. Scrabble pro uses vulgar word during Championship match In a World Cup match against Lukeman Owolabi, Scrabble pro Ben Schoenbrun resorted to spelling out what some may consider a rather unusual obscenity. After Lukeman wrapped up his play of the word “enabler,” one of the match’s announcers noted that Ben would “be forced to make a tough decision” because of the “fun, interesting play” ahead of him. That play involved the word, “f***wit.” Ben played the word as predicted, with the announcer once more chiming in to add that instances like this are why the Scrabble tournaments stream on YouTube instead of Twitch. “Twitch has asked us not to play profanity such as this on stream…” The play in question begins around the 1:27:53 mark in the video below: After playing the vulgar word, Scrabble Championship contestant Ben Schoenbrun went on to win the match against Lukeman Owolabi. Much later in the stream, Schoenbrun is shown coming out on top in the tournament as a whole. This victory made him a first-time Champion in the World Cup Scrabble competition.

Scotty Sire and Kristen McAtee reveal reasons behind emotional breakup – Dexerto
Scotty Sire and Kristen McAtee reveal reasons behind emotional breakup YouTube: Scotty SireLong-term YouTube power couple Scotty Sire and Kristen McAtee have decided to call time on their five-year relationship, and explained why the “difficult” decision was the “right choice” in an emotional video to their fans. Scotty and Kristen, both of whom boast huge YouTube fanbases after years on the platform, first met in 2015. They soon started dating, and spent the next half-decade producing plenty of videos and content together, and separately. While things appeared to be the same as ever in their regular YouTube videos, to the extent the split has blindsided many of the pairs’ loyal followers, McAtee and Sire admitted there was “plenty their fans hadn’t seen” behind-the-scenes. Scott and Kirsten “drifted apart” after five years According to the pair, who laid out the separation in a six-minute video on February 6, things may have appeared perfect, but differences in where each wanted to go in their lives, as well as “a series of discussions” led to the final decision. “You guys see us on the internet, having fun and having a good time, but you don’t see the arguments or the conversations we have off-camera because no one is going to film that. We drifted apart, it’s that simple,” Scotty said. “I feel like we were in our relationship because it was comfortable, and obviously we love each other and… care about each other. We both agree that this is the right decision for us, it’s difficult, but we know it’s the right thing.” “Like a Black Mirror episode” McAtee, who had struggled to hold back tears at the start of the video, agreed with her now ex-boyfriend, adding that partners who stay together for as long as they had sometimes “drift apart” for a host of different reasons. “The relationship was fine, but we just got to a point where, like you were saying, we’ve been together for so long, and it was comfortable, and I think it just got to a point where we grew apart, we weren’t together anymore,” she explained. “So, that’s the end of our relationship, and thank you for watching,” she added, then caught herself. “That’s so f**king dark, that’s like a Black Mirror episode right there.” McAtee asks fans not to take sides While the two could have kept their split under the radar, both Sire and McAtee admitted it was “only fair” they update their fans open and honestly, especially considering they had “become known as ‘Scott and Kristen’ on the internet.” “For the past week and a half or so, I haven’t wanted to post from my house, because people would still be thinking we were together, and we had tweets and fans asking us if we were broken up, so we knew that we had to tell you,” he said. Finally, McAtee asked fans to avoid “choosing sides” in the fallout of the relationship coming to a close. Because the two were still friends, and had mutually decided it was time to call it quits, the YouTube stars hoped there would be “no bad blood.” “There’s no reason to [take sides]. Nothing bad happened, I mean it from the bottom of my heart, I will have the craziest respect for [Scott] forever, he was my support system for five years. There’s no negativity, it’s not a side thing,” she said. Because the two have broken up, they confirmed they may be taking some time away from video creation to sort things out, but added they would be back for the fans soon enough – potentially even still in each other’s videos. Scotty and Kristen aren’t the only high-profile relationship to have come to a close recently, though they have been far less on-again, off-again than Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and his partner Corinna Kopf, who called time again last week. Tfue admitted he would “never” be getting into a relationship again after things didn’t work out for a second time with Corinna, though third time may be the charm for the Twitch star as their rocky relationship saga continues.

Scoreboard for Punches Landed in KSI vs Logan Paul Fight Shows a Surprising Winner The much anticipated boxing match between KSI and Logan Paul ended in somewhat anti-climatic fashion, as judges ruled the fight a majority draw – but the punches landed stat tells a different story. One judge gave the edge to KSI, but the other two couldn’t pick the two apart, and so settled for a draw. However, the score for punches landed tells a different story entirely. Logan Paul himself shared the scoreboard, however it must be noted that this is not an official source by any means. It comes from YouTube channel ‘Artorias Boxing 2nd’, with the punches manually counted by the creator and shown in the video, with short pauses for each punch landed. However, you may notice that some of the punches which are counted in the video are far from clean hits, and so the judges in the venue may have not included these in their own count. Many of the hits shown are hopeful jabs and hooks at best, and only scuff the opponent lightly. Regardless, the count is still heavily in favor of Logan Paul with a score of 64-46 in his favor. Paul posted the count on his Twitter page, responding to KSI’s own tweet shortly after the fight, in which the British YouTube claimed it was “clear” that he had beaten Paul. YouTuber KEEMSTAR said it was clear to everyone in the venue that KSI had won, and that even Logan’s family and friends looked defeated and prepared for the result not to go their way, immediately after the fight. The rematch between the two is expected in early 2019, by the end of February at the latest, and surely a definitive winner will be settled that time around.

Scottish comedian Limmy stunned by game’s hilariously well-timed roast during Twitch stream – Dexerto
Scottish comedian Limmy stunned by game’s hilariously well-timed roast during Twitch stream Twitch: LimmyScottish comedian and Twitch streamer Brian ‘Limmy’ Limond was left stunned when the perfect timing of a game decided to mock his accent. Aside from being a hugely popular comedian in the United Kingdom, Limmy has taken his talents to Twitch over the last few months – giving fans a look at his gaming skills with regular late-night streams. The broadcasts are usually full of hilarious moments, including him running people off the running in trucking simulators and arguing with his chat when he fails in Dead By Daylight. Yet, no moment might be funnier than him being roasted by one game’s impeccable comedic timing. During his August 15 stream, the popular comedian had been continuing his playthrough of ‘The Occupation’ – a puzzle game set in 1980’s Britain when he was tasked with searching through police case files. He was left stumped, telling his chat: “I cannae mate, I cannae,” explaining that he could not do it. As his Scottish accent was in full flow, an in-game NPC walked past and delivered a brutal roast. “I’m so Scottish, look at me! I’m amazing!” it muttered in a sarcastic tone, “Shut it, haggis head.” Limmy was left speechless, gasping over and over before finally offering up a response. “Is he fucking talking about me? The fucking game’s talking about me” he stated, still stunned at what had just unfolded. As he didn’t quite see who laid down the insult, the comedian began searching the game for any suspects – settling upon an old cleaner who remained relatively quiet. After a few pretty graphic threats, his viewers pointed out that he had the wrong man and instead wanted to look for a police officer. Either way, Limmy had laid down the law and shown he wasn’t to be messed with. However, things took a turn a little while later as the game didn’t save Limmy’s progress and wanted him to wait an hour of real-time before progressing. “Can you fucking believe that,” he said, furious at what had happened. “That is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in a fucking game.” It’s pretty clear that Limmy won’t be returning to the puzzle game any time soon, but at least viewers got another hilarious clip at his expense. Maybe next time out he’ll stick to his late-night trucking with European Trucking Simulator or try and reach that top level in Overwatch.

Multiple US schools close after TikTok threats for December 17 – Dexerto
Multiple US schools close after TikTok threats for December 17 Unsplash: MChe Lee / TikTokSeveral schools in the US have closed as a precaution after rumors of threats of violence for December 17 went viral on TikTok. While TikTok is a hub for some of the internet’s most viral content, it has also been subject to controversy in the past thanks to dangerous trends or challenges that originate from the app, several of them involving schools or young people. Back in September, TikTok banned the Devious Lick trend that saw teens steal increasingly bizarre objects from their schools, after a full list of challenges including ‘slap the teacher’ started doing the rounds. Now, some schools have closed as a precaution as a result of rumors about violent threats for December 17 that reportedly originated from TikTok. Districts in Minnesota, California, Missouri, and Texas have said they intend to close schools as a result of threats, whereas others have revealed that there will be a heightened police presence in some areas. Although many schools are taking precautions against these potential threats, they are also casting doubt over their validity. Baltimore County Public Schools explained via Twitter that: “Law enforcement agencies have investigated this threat and determined that it originated in Arizona and is not credible.” (2/3) Law enforcement agencies have investigated this threat and determined that it originated in Arizona and is not credible. We want to continue to encourage members of Team BCPS to report suspicious or threatening activities or postings. — Baltimore County Public Schools (@BaltCoPS) December 16, 2021 TikTok responds to school threats TikTok responded to the increased concern about December 17 by writing: “We handle even rumored threats with utmost seriousness, which is why we’re working with law enforcement to look into warnings about potential violence at schools even though we have not found evidence of such threats originating or spreading via TikTok.” We handle even rumored threats with utmost seriousness, which is why we’re working with law enforcement to look into warnings about potential violence at schools even though we have not found evidence of such threats originating or spreading via TikTok. — TikTokComms (@TikTokComms) December 16, 2021 Many of the videos and attached comment sections about December 17 on TikTok are from students expressing their concern about going into school, as well as parents urging others to keep their kids at home on the day. As the rumors continue to circulate, more schools are contacting students and parents to address the supposed threats.

Scooter Braun defends Nadeshot over NICKMERCS’ 100 Thieves exit – Dexerto
Scooter Braun defends Nadeshot over NICKMERCS’ 100 Thieves exit 100 ThievesDuring TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2019, Scooter Braun defended 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot‘ Haag’s handling of the departure of Nick ‘NICKMERCS‘ Kolcheff from the organization. Back in May 2019, NICKMERCS left 100 Thieves after dropping many hints about it up until that point. In the midst of his exit, he took several shots at Nadeshot, saying he broke promises made as a friend and business partner. Nick explained he wanted nothing to do with the 100 Thieves CEO anymore, and days later, he joined rival organization FaZe Clan. Nadeshot hasn’t gone very in-depth with what happened behind the scenes, and didn’t seem like he was going to at TechCrunch, but Braun stepped in to defend the CEO. “Matt never broke his word on anything that he did,” he said. “You know, I think sometimes people use their platform in this world to say whatever they want to say as long as they have an audience to say it and sometimes those things aren’t based in fact.” He explains he was proud of Nadeshot for not saying anything about all the drama, but instead remaining silent and taking the high road. “Some of the things that were said publicly that Matt never responded to, I was proud that he didn’t respond because he did the right thing and let the organization speak for itself.” (Discussion begins at the 21:00 mark) Scooter Braun entered 100 Thieves as an investor in October 2018, joining a star-studded lineup of other investors that also features music superstar Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham.

School warns parents about Prime Energy after student’s “cardiac episode” – Dexerto
School warns parents about Prime Energy after student’s “cardiac episode” DrinkprimeA school in the UK is warning parents about the popularity of Prime Energy after a primary school student had a “cardiac episode.” Since Prime Hydration’s launch in January 2022, Logan Paul & KSI’s drink has skyrocketed in popularity with fans across the world. They’ve since launched Prime Energy, which quickly became highly sought after by fans of the YouTubers. On May 10, 2023, a school in Wales issued a warning to parents after a primary school student had a “cardiac episode” after drinking a can of Prime Energy. Primary school student hospitalized after drinking Prime Energy It’s no secret that caffeine is dangerous when consumed in excess by adults, but the limit that kids can drink is way lower as one student recently learned. As reported by Birmingham Mail, a primary school student in Wales was hospitalized after drinking a can of Prime Energy, which has 140mg of caffeine in the UK variant. The school issued a warning to parents shortly after hearing the news. “This morning a parent has reported that their child has had a cardiac episode over the weekend after drinking a Prime energy drink. The child had to have their stomach pumped and although better now the parent wanted us to share this as a reminder of the potential harmful effects,” they said. According to a Welsh government website, Primary School serves children between the ages of four and 11. Prime Energy cans do have a warning that they’re not safe for anyone under the age of 18, and doctors worldwide have warned against excessive consumption for adults. It’s unknown whether or not the child had any underlying conditions that could have fueled the “cardiac episode,” but it can used as a reminder to drink caffeine responsibly.

School worker’s shocking TikTok of two men trying to collect same kid goes viral – Dexerto
School worker’s shocking TikTok of two men trying to collect same kid goes viral TIKTOK: sheena_20200A school office worker went viral on TikTok, after explaining how two men went to pick up the same child as both thought they were her father. The TikToker shared a series of videos, claiming that two men came to pick up a 5-year-old girl from school, as they both had been told she was their daughter. Apparently, the mother had told both men they were her father, but when a former friend sent both men to pick up the girl, her ruse was exposed as they clashed over custody and confusion. Sheena Jackson, who works at the front office of an undisclosed school, explained that both alleged fathers were listed as the young girl’s emergency contact, and arrived at the school around the same time to pick her up. “They both look at each other and the dad was like ‘Why you checking my child out? Who are you?’ And he was like ”Who are you? What do you mean? I’m her dad,” she recalled in a viral TikTok clip. Sheena then realized the men were about to fight and called to get the principal, who made her call the mother to come to the school. On the phone, the mom “started screaming and crying,” the TikToker said. “Oh my God, he must’ve popped up… he doesn’t know about him yet,” the mother said, according to Sheena. When the mother arrived at the school, one of the men ran to the parking lot, where he started shouting at her about the other man, demanding an explanation from the woman. Then he allegedly hit her. “He hit her. He hit the mama,” she recalled. “And [the mother] was like ‘This is why I never told you, but I was lying to both of y’all, I was telling both of y’all you was the daddy.’” Paramedics and police eventually arrived on the scene, and one of the men was arrested, while the mother was taken by the EMS. A grandmother eventually had to come to take the child home, as “nobody could get the child at that point.” “All this time, this baby is 5, and this mama be telling both of these men that they were the daddy,” she said. “And they never knew, they never ran into each other. It was a mess y’all.”

School responds after video of students licking toes for fundraiser goes viral – Dexerto
School responds after video of students licking toes for fundraiser goes viral X: wsuaresDeer Creek School District has responded after a viral video showed their students licking each other’s toes for a fundraiser. An Oklahoma school district has been facing mass backlash after a video went viral showing students licking and sucking on toes in hopes of raising money. Obtained first by Fox 25, the video showed four students lying facedown on the ground. In front of each student was a pair of bare feet, with the crowd going wild as the students began to lick and suck on the toes presented to them. Now, the school has responded to the backlash, claiming the incident took place during a fundraiser for Not Your Average Joe Coffee, whose mission is to employ and inspire “students and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.” According to a statement obtained by Fox 25, the students involved had paid to participate in an assembly called “Clash of Classes” that saw ninth through to twelfth graders compete in various “student-organized class competitions.” “All participants in the assembly were students who signed up for the game(s) they played ahead of time,” the statement read. It went on to claim that “No Deer Creek faculty or staff participated in any of the games during this Clash of Classes assembly.” “Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek.” According to Deer Creek High School, students were able to raise a grand total of $152,830.38, with the school thanking all patrons, businesses, and sponsors for their contributions. However, many remain outraged at the “disgusting” competition, with one person writing on X, “The event was at a school but not one school official participated? Who organized it? That’s a pretty pathetic response. Whoever wrote it sure tried to cover up the disgusting event by pointing out how much money they raised.”

Student scores school presidency after Dr Disrespect-inspired speech DrDisrespect/FreePik/PixabayA student vying to become school president brought violence, speed, and momentum to his speech, stunning Dr Disrespect fans and even the Doc himself. Dr Disrespect has become an icon in the online entertainment industry. The two-time has managed to captivate many with a best-selling book to his name and even his own game company. Interestingly enough, the youngster actually managed to pull off the delivery quite well and now he’s going viral as a result. Student becomes Dr Disrespect for school election speech In a video uploaded by Dr Disrespect’s video editor, Jesse Navarro, the boy walked up on stage and unleashed a tirade as if he were the two-time himself. “Let’s face the facts, I dominated this year as your vice-president. So if you think I’m gonna stop right there? If you think that’s the end of the line? You think we’re done? Sonora Eagles, we’re just getting started,” he said to begin, echoing Doc’s top of the mountain speech. The Doc mannerisms continued with London mimicking the YouTuber’s intro with “the name… is London” and claiming to have “4 foot 11 – 18 inch vertical leap.” The end of the speech was met with thunderous applause by London’s fellow students, proving that he really nailed it with the electorate. As TikTok has continued to grow and grow over the last few years, many celebrities have jumped on board by creating accounts of their own and getting stuck into some of the platform’s biggest trends. The likes of Kim Kardashian, Camila Cabello, David Beckham, and Gordon Ramsay have all dove head-first and started posting on a regular basis. Madonna TikTok videos worry fans At the end of March, the ‘Queen of Pop’ posted consecutive quick clips of herself looking down the barrel of the camera, with the songs Frozen and Ginseng Strip 2002 playing in the background as she remains silent. Given that the clips are a bit different from she normally posts, many viewers quickly filled the comments asking “are you ok?” and “what is this?” while others made remarks about her health. “She is my idol but at first watch this video scared me! What are you doing?” said one fan. “I don’t think she knows she’s recording,” added another, while another commenter quipped: “Could you use the Madonna filter please so you look more like Madonna?” Click here if TikTok doesn’t load The two posts have racked up plenty of attention on TikTok, amassing over 20 million views in total, but the clips have also spread across the internet – being picked up in a viral Reddit thread as well. Scarra and Lilypichu’s heartfelt moment goes south after Freudian slip – Dexerto
Scarra and Lilypichu’s heartfelt moment goes south after Freudian slip OfflineTV duo William ‘Scarra’ Li and Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki had an awkward moment on stream addressing the SleightlyMusical controversy, after Scarra had an unfortunate Freudian slip in front of the streamer. LilyPichu and OfflineTV were thrown into the spotlight on November 10, after a number of tweets from the streaming group’s members fueled speculation about Albert ‘SleightlyMusical’ Chang cheating on the League of Legends streamer. The couple confirmed their break-up over Twitter, with SleightlyMusical admitting to “being unfaithful” to LilyPichu a day later. The controversy has been lingering over the group’s head since, and Scarra accidentally slipped it back into the forefront of everyone’s minds with an unintentional off-handed comment. LilyPichu and Scarra were conversing on a December 3 stream, talking about their recent move and answering questions from chat. As the conversation got more and more heartfelt, LilyPichu asked Scarra about his love life, to which the former League pro parroted the question “How is your love life?” back to Lily. However, this was a grave mistake, and Scarra realised exactly what he had said to Lily just moments later, leading to an awkward exit. “Okay, I need to leave, goodbye — I think I’ll get a drink real quick,” he said, stumbling out of the room. LilyPichu couldn’t do anything but laugh at the comment, making sure everyone knew it was a joke. “That was hilarious — no no no, that was hilarious,” she said, as her Twitch chat questioned Scarra’s judgment. “It’s funny, laugh.” Scarra came back a minute later, offering Lily a Coke Zero in compensation. However, the streamer saw through that facade, knocking back the peace offering. She did end up stealing a sip of the drink however, in a game Scarra called “How quick is Lily going to go for this.” The two kept rambling on stream for all of their viewers to enjoy for another hour, so there was no love lost between the OfflineTV duo over the Freudian slip. However, Scarra looked tense when re-entering the room, having just said something no one dared to before now. While the wounds of the breakup might still rub raw on LilyPichu, at least she saw the lighthearted side to Scarra’s comment, and not malice.

Scarra slams ‘insane’ community reactions to Lilypichu, OfflineTV drama – Dexerto
Scarra slams ‘insane’ community reactions to Lilypichu, OfflineTV drama Popular Twitch streamer William ‘Scarra’ Li has weighed in on the ongoing drama surrounding Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki, her relationship with Albert ‘SleightlyMusical’ Chang, and how fellow OfflineTV members reacted to the news across social media. Drama surrounding Ki and Chang’s separation, which allegedly occurred after LilyPichu discovered SleightlyMusical had been dating someone else behind her back, spilled onto social media on November 11 through a number of OfflineTV stars’ comments. Streaming celebrities like Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys and Federico ‘Fedmyster’ Gaytan both delivered vague tweets on the subject, including claiming “the best of people can turn out to be massive snakes,” sparking mass online interest in the private issue. Scarra, who co-founded OfflineTV in 2017, had remained largely divorced from the ongoing drama, until he weighed in on the entire subject during his November 11 broadcast. The former League of Legends pro wrestled with whether he should give his thoughts on Lilypichu relationship, and Pokimane and Fedmyster’s reactions online, before deciding that he “probably should to some degree” considering how close he is to everyone involved. “Obviously, some stuff happened today that was pretty… large in scale,” he said, choosing his words carefully as he commented. “I can’t give anything specific, it’s not my place to give specifics about what happened. Don’t expect me to ever say anything until another statement gets made by any of the main parties.” The LCS veteran took the time to direct his main focus towards how OfflineTV fans, and others online, had ‘dogpiled’ onto Pokimane and Fedmyster following their vague tweets, and said that it felt horrible to see his friends being attacked for being emotional. “I see a lot of comments really just sh*tting on my friends, which feels really bad,” he said. “I see people essentially saying that OTV and their friends subtweet a lot to get clout, and all that sh*t, and I just think it’s insane that you would think that people do that to get clout.” Scarra explained that because all of the core figures from OfflineTV are public figures through their streaming and social media presence, they are used to “sharing a lot” about their life, and don’t always think about how much they may overshare. “Especially when it comes to being a streamer, you tend to overshare a lot,” he said. “A good example is that I tell you what body wash and shampoo I use. Three months later, people are asking me ‘Did you replace it, did you like it, can you review it?’ “We live in a society that overshares, especially across social media and on our streams. That means when there’s a lot of emotional stress (like in this situation), people tend to default to what they normally do, and (share) the way that you saw.” The fact that his friends defaulted to “the norm” in terms of sharing was still a mistake, the Teamfight Tactics star said, and admitted that they “probably shouldn’t have come out with it publicly” for the sake of Lilypichu especially. “Multiple people probably said too much, but that means they’re human,” he continued. “They made some mistakes, but they’re not bad people, or bad friends. I see that thrown out a lot, where people are called bad friends for tweeting stuff out, but in reality, that’s just very normal in our modern society. Sh*t happens and people just tweet about it. “It was just handled improperly in this situation when it came to us, and overall I think that it was really, really poorly handled. The most important thing in this situation is that I think until more information gets put out, no one jumps to any conclusions.” Both SleightlyMusical and LilyPichu are currently in Japan as part of an OfflineTV trip there, but the streamer, who regularly plays music and performs magic tricks for his audience, has yet to comment on the end of the relationship. LilyPichu has confirmed that she will be taking a short break from both streaming and social media while she processes the situation, saying that she “is not in the best mental state right now,” before apologizing for anything she said wrong.

Scarra explains why police searched Offline TV house on stream – Dexerto
Scarra explains why police searched Offline TV house on stream William Li, Sleightlymusical – Instagram / Freepik.com[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]Offline TV member and Twitch streamer William ‘Scarra’ Li’s June 17 broadcast was interrupted by a police officer searching his room — an alarming incident that he explained to worried fans shortly thereafter. Scarra, best known for his former status as a League of Legends pro and his popular Twitch streams, found himself faced with an alarming scenario after police showed up to the Offline TV house in mid-June. Fans were concerned after an armed officer was seen searching his room on camera and shining a flashlight around the surroundings, with many assuming the content house had been swatted. However, this was (thankfully) not the case as even he initially suspected, as Scarra explained to his audience after law enforcement had left the premises. “Poki came in, called me upstairs, I went upstairs, cop with a gun [was] in our living room,” he explained. “The rest of the house was on the couch. So I immediately think we’re getting swatted. This is not fun.” According to the streamer, Pokimane’s Postmates driver had contacted police out of fear that the home had been broken into, as both Scarra and Fedmyster’s car had been broken into the night beforehand. That’s not all; the crew had also left out a slew of packages on their front lawn, leading the delivery driver to believe the home had been, as Scarra relayed, “ransacked.” Luckily, Scarra’s story had a humorous and lighthearted ending, as the officers’ suspicions were quickly dashed after discovering the house members were merely “gamers.” “Because of the combination of stuff, they [police] came in and they were just like, ‘Is anyone dead here? Are you guys doing f**king weird s**t here?’” he continued. “[They] looked at all the rooms and they were just like, ‘Oh, you guys are gamers.’” “It’s an interesting way to start the day,” he said of his car being broken into. “I’m happy nothing was wrong. I filed a report, and that’s it.” Thankfully, all members of the Offline TV house are safe and sound, despite the concerning turn of events — as well as the fate of Scarra and Feds’ vehicles, which were also relatively undamaged.

Scarra celebrates 365-day Twitch streaming streak with drunk NYE stream – Dexerto
Scarra celebrates 365-day Twitch streaming streak with drunk NYE stream Twitch star William ‘scarra’ Li has finally hit his goal of streaming for 365 consecutive days, and celebrated the lengthy personal milestone with a few well-earned drinks live during his final broadcast of 2019 on December 31. As 2018 turned into 2019 a year ago, scarra set himself a bold goal for the calendar year: get onto Twitch once every day, and stream for his loyal fans, playing games like Teamfight Tactics or settling in for Just Chatting sessions. While some days during the grind were tougher than others, and at times scarra admitted his mind was “slowly becoming unstable” from having to do the same task at least once every 24 hours, the Twitch star has finally done it. “It’s finally over, 365 out of 365 days streamed today,” he said as he prepared for the very last broadcast. “The day marks the end of my full-year streaming challenge.” He chalked up his final stream of the year, 365 in total, on December 31, and decided the best way to welcome in 2020 and celebrate the milestone was to crack open a few cold ones and set himself some drinking rules during TFT games. These rules dictated times to take shots of soju, including whenever he failed to get an item during the drop rounds, as well as whenever he upgraded a unit to three-stars, dropped into the bottom four, or if he saw three-of-a-kind in the shop. While winning a match meant he could skip the next drink, which was designed to provide a little respite, scarra quickly realized his rules were going to get him fairly drunk before the clock even struck midnight, and rolled it back a little. “Now that I’ve changed the rules I’m averaging like two drinks a round I think?” he said, but didn’t sound too confident that he’d last all the way to America’s NYE celebrations. “I don’t think that’s too bad, is it? Right? I’m not sure.” It’s finally over 365/365 days streamed today HERE’S A DRINKING GAME WE GOING TIL THE NEW YEAR pic.twitter.com/ICF68b8eL9 — DSG scarra (@scarra) December 31, 2019 Despite not being totally happy with having to chuck back drinks from 3pm on New Year’s Eve, scarra said he was glad to be celebrating the milestone, especially considering he had to avoid a few technical problems throughout the year. He also faced an interesting challenge 335 days in, as the whole OfflineTV group moved from their old residence to a new house. While the team was without internet for three days, scarra made it work to keep the streak alive. The ambitious streak also brought around another cause for celebration for the former League of Legends pro, after he hit one million followers just under eight years after he first dedicated himself to a life of streaming on Twitch. “I just hit a million followers,” he said in celebration, and thanked his fans for their support. “Hitting a milestone like this after streaming on Twitch for almost eight years feels pretty darn good. It’s all thanks to you guys, thank you.” Unfortunately for scarra, however, his impressive year of streaming doesn’t hold a candle to the longest streak on Twitch. Ben ‘CohhCarnage’ Cassell currently holds the potential longest record, after hitting 2,000 days last April. Cassell began his extraordinary run of consecutive streaming days in April 2013, and nothing stopped him from staying on target — not even the birth of two children, holidays, illness, and birthdays could keep him away from Twitch. If scarra wanted to come close to that incredible haul, he would have to keep streaming long into 2020. In fact, if he kept on the same track as CohhCarnage, the TFT streaming star would hit that milestone on June 23, 2024. Considering OfflineTV are holding their regular New Year’s Eve party on December 31, and this time it will be at scarra’s house, there’s a good chance he’s a little too dusty to stream tomorrow, and could break his 365-day streak. A full year is still a very cool milestone for the Twitch star to have claimed, however, and he’ll likely remember the fun he had over 2019 long after he’s finally put his streaming career to rest, and moved on to other things. And right now, he’s got more important things on his mind — mainly finding a way to avoid having too many shots of soju as he celebrates the New Year with his followers. It could be a messy party for scarra if he keeps losing.

Scarra apologizes for “offensive” Sydeon skin color joke on QuarterJade’s Twitch stream Instagram: Sydeon / ScarraTwitch streamer and Disguised member William ‘Scarra’ Li has issued an apology, following a joke he made about Sydney ‘Sydeon’ Parker’s skin color during a stream, which he has said was “terrible and offensive.” During QuarterJade’s Twitch stream on November 20, Scarra made a joke that she “looked like Sydeon’ when the lights were turned off in the car, making the scene darker. The clip was shared on X/Twitter on December 12, as a fan called it out as “mocking their complexion.” In response, Sydeon said she had spoken to Scarra already, to tell him she was uncomfortable with the comment. “I will always hold people accountable for their actions and have open conversations. “In regard to this clip, I didn’t find this joke funny and I talked to scarra and let him know why it made me uncomfortable.” “I do not and will not ever condone racist behavior toward any group,” she continued. “I am trying my best to do right by myself & also protect and advocate for my black audience.” Scarra apologizes for skin color joke Later on December 12, Scarra issued an apology on Twitter/X. “I’m sorry. My words here were terrible and offensive. I tunneled so hard at making a specific joke that i ended up targeting an entire group of people in a mocking and distasteful way. I did not think about what I was doing and it was a terrible lapse of judgment for which I should definitely have known better. “After talking to Sydney, I realized that making jokes like these especially in spaces with more impressionable viewers might make others think it’s okay to further alienate groups of people. I definitely did not understand how my words could be additionally harmful, especially in this way. He concluded that the comment was out of “ignorance and lack of consideration”, and was sorry that he had hurt others. “I will strive to the best of my ability to never hurt others in the same way again.” Responses to Scarra’s apology were mixed, with some arguing the joke was “tame” and didn’t warrant the uproar, while another said it “suck[s] that once again the burden is on us (Black people) to educate non-black people on these issues.” QuarterJade, whose stream the comment was broadcast on, also issued an apology, saying: “I knew as soon as this comment was made that I was uncomfortable with it but instead covered the awkwardness with a laugh and did not have the confidence to call it out. “I chose my comfort over those viewing and that is, as its always been, part of the problem. I make an effort to hold myself accountable for my mistakes and brushing a comment like this away was a mistake. “I wish I had immediately said something at the time but I can only promise to continue to try and cultivate a comfortable space for all individuals.”

Scarce Talks About his Self-Consciousness, Boxing Injuries and Fighting for his Father – Dexerto
Scarce Talks About his Self-Consciousness, Boxing Injuries and Fighting for his Father YouTuber Scarce made his first comments following his fight on the KSI vs Logan Paul undercard. He opened up on a number of issues, including his past struggles with weight and the injuries he is dealing with after the fight. Scarce was teased and criticized for sucking in his stomach during the weigh in for his fight, a habit he says was developed over years of dealing with weight issues. They call me up on stage to do the weigh-in. Man, even PewDiePie reacted to this and he was telling me, ‘Scarce, you need to stop sucking in your stomach. What is wrong with you?’ I don’t know how many of you guys know this about me but I was almost 300 pounds. Literally less than a year ago dude. I was so heavy, people used to make fun of me for it all the time… I’ve been really self-conscious . I was the kid in high school, even grade school, that would leave my shirt on in the pool. I took my shirt off and instantly I’m like, I got to suck in my stomach, because that’s what I do all the time…. I was sucking in my stomach because I was totally self-conscious about everything. Scarce shared his drastic weight loss transformation on Twitter before the fight. He also discussed the personal issues that inspired him during the fight, including losing his father just weeks before. I took a lot of punches, it hurt really badly, but I kept fighting… The reason why I did that was because this wasn’t about me. This fight was so much bigger than me just going out there for some YouTuber event. If you don’t know, six weeks ago my Dad passed away. I don’t know if there’s an afterlife… if he’s looking down on me like people say, I would hope that he was watching me in that ring and I did not want to go down with my Dad watching me. Scarce did not go down, but he did not leave the ring unscathed. He suffered a broken nose, along with typical boxing aches and pains in his neck and jaw. Scarce’s complete comments are contained in the video below.

Scarra and Toast explain why OfflineTV won’t last much longer – Dexerto
Scarra and Toast explain why OfflineTV won’t last much longer OfflineTVThe OfflineTV collective is an enormous brand revolving around Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, Lily ‘LilyPichu’ Ki, Michael Reeves, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang, and William ‘Scarra’ Li – but the founder explained why he doesn’t see the group lasting much longer. Scarra established OfflineTV in 2017 alongside his then-manager Chris Chan. While there’s been plenty of changes to the house’s residents since its inception, the content creators have steadily built up the general platform to thrive across YouTube and Twitch. But all good things come to an end, and this isn’t lost on Scarra. Every year the OfflineTV founder wonders if it’s going to be the last for the content house. While there’s been no animosity or signs that would point to impending doom within the group, Scarra and Toast are realistic about the idea of living with your friends as time goes on. “All good things come to an end,” Scarra said during a late-night Twitch stream. “Every year I’m always happy if it lasts one more year.” Looking to the future, Toast doesn’t see how the group of friends will be able to house every one’s personal ambitions as life goes on. “We can’t have a house that each of us have wives, husbands, our kids and our pets living in once place,” Toast said, immediately following up with the obvious progression of the ‘OfflineTV house.’ “Maybe like a street. I’m down for street, or like a neighborhood.” Scarra put OfflineTV’s shelf life at two to three more years, but both content creators recognized that the actual brand’s existence will have very little consequence on their individual success. So it’s not entirely needed, even now. Across Twitch and YouTube (Facebook Gaming for Toast), every single member easily has millions of followers to support them in their own goals. If OfflineTV were to truly go offline, each individual community would be more than equipped to keep themselves afloat. With so many young streamers or content creators eventually growing up, living arrangements and even the things they broadcast will eventually take a new shape throughout different phases of life. With that said, a product of that change could one day result in OfflineTV permanently turning off and that’s not a bad thing, according to Scarra.

Scammer who stole Adin Ross’s money gets chased out of Walmart on-stream – Dexerto
Scammer who stole Adin Ross’s money gets chased out of Walmart on-stream Kick: Adin RossA scammer who stole money and personal information from Adin Ross got chased out of a store after he tried to buy a TV with the money- and it all happened on-stream. The scammer rang Adin up to taunt him over the scam, showing the top Kick streamer that he had gotten hold of his information somehow. He then streamed his scam to Adin while he entered a Walmart and tried buying an expensive TV. However, the scam took a turn for the worse when store employees clocked what was going on, which resulted in the scammer making a mad dash to his car and speeding off. Thief who stole from Adin Ross gets busted after scam goes wrong When the scammer started streaming, he taunted Adin Ross over losing money to the scam, saying that “Adin is going to donate me a TV.” Adin challenged the scammer on how he managed to get the money, asking if he had access to his PayPal, but the thief only replied cryptically: “yeah, something like that”. Bizarrely, the thief said that Adin was jinxing the scam, and that it would be the streamer’s fault if he got arrested. The scammer then went into the store and picked up a TV, and Adin was shocked at how well the scam was progressing, saying: “No way. What the f*ck dude. No f*cking way that works. Bro. Are you kidding me?!? What are you doing??” However, the scam came to an end when the scammer’s stream audio cut out. In the video, the scammer was addressed by store staff, before he started running out of the shop without the TV. The last we saw of the scammer is when he got back into his car and sped away, when he said to Adin: “I’m going to have to call you back.” From this, it looks pretty clear that the scam didn’t end well for him. For more news and updates on Adin Ross, check out his reveal of the reason he was permanently banned from Twitch.

Scammers impersonate Mr Beast to promote fake YouTube “giveaways” – Dexerto
Scammers impersonate Mr Beast to promote fake YouTube “giveaways” Instagram: @mrbeast / Pixabay / YouTubeYouTube philanthropist Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson opened up on Twitter about how a devious scammer is trying to trick viewers with a fake PlayStation network gift card “giveaway” by using his face. Mr Beast’s rise on YouTube has been explosive – and for good reason. The 21-year-old dedicates his channel to giving away an absurd amount of cash to those in need. And in December 2019, his environmental initiative reached its goal to plant 20 million trees. Despite the young entertainer’s dedication to spread goodwill to the world, it’s also began to attract those looking to take advantage of it. On April 19, the philanthropist revealed on his social media that scammers are using his image to promote illegitimate “giveaways.” Mr Beast calls out scammers using his image Over the last couple of years, Google has been faced with the challenge of clamping down on spam bots in the comment section of YouTube. Often these accounts impersonate famous channels, and promote a “free giveaway.” However, now the platform’s latest star Mr Beast appears to be the target of a new scam, and informed his viewers on Twitter about a fraudulent advertisement using his face to promote a PSN gift card scam. “Almost every other tweet I’ve gotten recently is about this fake ad, I let youtube know If it doesn’t come from a verified MrBeast, it’s not me,” he said in a tweet. User ‘leisen09′ uploaded an image of another apparent scammer impersonating Mr Beast and commenting on users’ channels. Another creator on the platform, CaptainSauce, replied to Mr Beast saying that his vide’s were also being used to make fake ads. Unfortunately, he claims he’s struggled to get help with it. “Good luck getting them to do anything about it. For the last 2 months i’ve had my videos used for take ads and 12 copyright strikes later YouTube still doesn’t stop them,” he said. At the time of writing, YouTube has yet to respond. Although according to the philanthropist, his viewers are letting him know as soon as these ads are going up, so hopefully they are being taken down due to their reports.

Scam accounts pretending to be Amouranth are abusing Twitch’s new Hot Tubs section – Dexerto
Scam accounts pretending to be Amouranth are abusing Twitch’s new Hot Tubs section Twitter, @amouranth / TwitchTwitch’s new “Hot Tubs, Pools, and Beaches” category is already being abused by scam accounts using re-broadcasts of streamers like Amouranth, Corinna Kopf, and Indiefoxx to lure in hundreds of viewers. The “Hot Tub meta” took over Twitch and the platform responded by giving the content its own category, noting that “being found to be sexy by others is not against our rules.” Unfortunately for Twitch staff, that category has now become home to relentless rule-breaking and scam accounts. While many are happy that streamers like Amouranth, Corinna Kopf, and Indiefoxx can now comfortably hang out in their hot tubs on Twitch — others are taking advantage of the situation. Either re-broadcasting one of the aforementioned streamers’ VODs or even just streaming a picture of them, tons of scam accounts are gaming the system for views, follows, subscriptions, donations, and, in some cases, suspicious outbound links. there are currently a shit ton of streams in the Pools, Hot Tubs, and Pools category on Twitch, that are just downloading streamers hot tub VODS and using them as their own broadcast kind of weird pic.twitter.com/c9yCmazWBG — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) May 22, 2021 As you can see in the above screenshots, scam accounts are bold in their efforts. A fake Amouranth stream from 10gibbo is advertising a “free only Fans” for donations, while a fake IndieFoxx (actually named igmsaxfn) promises a “twerk” for a subscription and $5 PayPal gift. Scam accounts infamously litter the CSGO section of Twitch, among others, which follow the same formula: impersonate a large streamer in an attempt to capitalize on unsuspecting viewers. One fake account sets a whole other standard for this hustle, though. Using a screenshot of Kopf, along with an overlay that reads “be right back, changing bikinis,” connersz has hundreds of viewers. A self-described “18-year-old washed professional Fortnite player,” connersz is sitting around 200 viewers consistently and — as seen in his chat — has been live for over 15 hours. From being washed at Fortnite to receiving hundreds of viewers waiting to watch Kopf wash, connersz embodies the latest evolution in Twitch hustles. As of yet, the platform hasn’t cracked down on these fake accounts, but one can be sure that this new category is going to require a lot of company attention.

Scammer makes woman spin in circles on FaceTime after stealing $6K from her – Dexerto
Scammer makes woman spin in circles on FaceTime after stealing $6K from her UNSPLASHA phone scammer made a woman undress and spin in circles on FaceTime to ‘confirm her identity’ after stealing $6,000 from her, according to a police report. According to Mayfield Heights police, on July 23, an Ohio woman received a call from a man pretending to be from a bank. The man told her there was a “potential fraudulent charge pending” on her account and advised her to move her money to prevent it from being stolen. The victim took down the bank account numbers provided by the fraudster and added her debit card information to her Apple Wallet, following the scammer’s instructions. While on the phone with him, she went to a local Huntington Bank branch and withdrew $6,000 in cash. She was then told to deposit the money into a debit card account at a different ATM. When she tried to remove the funds from the account, however, the transaction didn’t go through. The woman then went home, only to continue receiving calls from the scammer. The scammer, who used FaceTime without turning on his camera, requested a “full body scan to verify her identity” due to a failed transaction, police said. He then tricked her into undressing and spinning in circles as a form of verification. The victim only realized the call and transaction were a scam when she heard the fraudster laughing. After realizing this, she tried to withdraw the money but was denied. The woman later reported the fraud to the bank, only to be told she was responsible for the lost money. Eventually, she reported the theft and the FaceTime call to the Mayfield Heights Police Department. Sheryl Harris, Director of the Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs and the Scam Squad, told 19 News it’s “difficult to get money back.” However, she noted that in some cases, law enforcement can track down scammers and their criminal organizations, potentially recovering some funds. Harris advised that victims should report crimes like these immediately to their local police department so that authorities can catch the scammers and try to get back the stolen money.

Sayu claims Zaion LanZa was “backstabbed” by Nijisanji Livers – Dexerto
Sayu claims Zaion LanZa was “backstabbed” by Nijisanji Livers Independent VTuber Sayu has spoken out against multiple Nijisanji Livers claiming that they “backstabbed,” Zaion LanZa by harshly criticizing her on stream shortly after her contract was terminated. Zaion Lanza was a Nijisanji EN VTuber who debuted as one of the six members of XSOLEIL. She worked at Nijisanji for three months before the agency terminated her contract for making “offensive remarks,” amongst other contract breaches. Sayu – formerly Sayu Okami – would later speak out in a lengthy TwitLonger offering an alternative perspective of the events leading up to Zaion’s termination. Five months on from that statement Sayu has once again voiced her thoughts on Zaion’s time at Nijisanji this time accusing certain Livers of betraying her. Sayu accuses Nijisanji VTubers of backstabbing Zaion LanZa During Day 26 of her ongoing Subathon, Sayu spoke about Zaion LanZa’s time at Nijisanji as clipped by Kuri Rinji. The independent VTuber addressed her relationship with certain members and claimed they “backstabbed,” her shortly after Zaion’s exit. Sayu opened: “You know I really loved that group. I really loved the people in that group. It sucked so much to be backstabbed by so many of them when I did so much behind the scenes for them and I did so much to show them that I loved them and I cared.” “…I knew how a lot of things worked. I learned how a lot of analytics and things worked and I taught them a lot of what I knew and not a single person could say something nice,” she continued before explaining that some of Zaion’s closest friends publicly condemned her despite Nijisanji not pushing them to do so. “You know Kotoka said she couldn’t even wish her well. That she couldn’t even wish Zaion well on stream that’s what she said… I went out of my way to meet up and teach her secrets and tell her things before the debut. That just really sucked. I loved her. I actually loved her a lot,” Sayu confessed. Sayu went on to claim Zaion’s situation with Finana Ryugu was similar with them having met up and gone to a music festival together, leaving her in disbelief when Finana later accused Zaion of gaslighting her into confronting Nijisanji staff. Due to the nature of industry-standard NDAs, it’s rare for ex-agency VTubers to openly acknowledge their past identities. There have been very few other examples of this happening making this a unique case.

Sayu Okami releases statement following Zaion LanZa NIJISANJI termination – Dexerto
Sayu Okami releases statement following Zaion LanZa NIJISANJI termination Following controversial statements and other cited breaches of contract, VTuber Zaion LanZa was terminated from NIJISANJI. Sayu Okami has just released a statement with more details. VTuber Zaion LanZa was terminated from her agency, NIJISANJI, back in March. This was the first time the company had delivered such a strict punishment, and it followed an indefinite suspension initially enacted in January. Fans of the streamer and other online personalities alike were shocked. NIJISANJI had listed multiple reasons for Zaion’s suspension and then termination, citing everything from copyright infringement to repeatedly made offensive remarks. Months have passed since the drama was first set ablaze by NIJISANJI’s public statements, but the situation seems to be far from resolved. Sayu Okami, a fellow VTuber who has thus far been inactive online, took to Twitter today on May 6 with a 22-page document discussing Zaion’s experiences while working with NIJISANJI as well as the reasoning given behind her termination. Sayu Okami posts statement about Zaion LanZa’s termination The first important thing to note about Sayu Okami is that many fans believe that she may in fact be Zaion LanZa. Sayu has been inactive in the VTubing scene for a good while now, leading viewers to think that she had started working as Zaion for NIJISANJI. Whether or not this is the case has not yet been confirmed, and will likely remain up until Sayu confirms or denies it directly. Regardless, Sayu posted and pinned a Twitlonger link about Zaion’s situation, prefacing by saying the latter VTuber had struggled with mental illness. She responded to each allegation dropped by NIJISANJI in Zaion’s termination, taking time to refute some of them. For instance, she claimed that the false sponsorship claim cited by NIJISANJI was in reference to a joke Zaion made about her “Dee’s Nuts” stream assets. For some of the other claims made by NIJISANJI, Sayu offered an explanation for the actions she was being accused of before her termination. When replying to the allegations about offensive remarks, one of which included liking a Tweet defaming other VTubers, Sayu stated that Zaion had “strongly tried to emphasize” it had been an accident rather than an intentional jab. Sayu also claimed that Zaion had “begged” for NIJISANJI to “consider a more professional approach to future commentary between the two sides” ahead of the termination, only for NIJISANJI to refuse according to Sayu. Both Sayu and Zaion stressed that they thought NIJISANJI’s members themselves were not the issue. Writing on the other streamers within the agency, she said, “They were incredibly kind, considerate, and immediately included us and made us feel like one of them.” However, despite her kind words for other NIJISANJI members, Zaion expressed that she wasn’t content with how she felt while she was with the company. “I feel that I need to say that during my time there, I felt trapped, felt like a failure, and did not feel like staff cared about me as a person (or for my own creative style), as the managers I was forced to work with did not show an effort to understand me beyond the surface of our work relationship.” NIJISANJI has not yet responded to Sayu or Zaion’s statements on the matter, and have shared no further information on the VTuber’s termination aside from their initial announcement back on March 10. Fans are currently split, with some on Zaion’s side and others still uncomfortable with the allegations made against her.

Satan is literally tweeting for Team Rogue, and we don’t know why – Dexerto
Satan is literally tweeting for Team Rogue, and we don’t know why RogueSatan himself has just joined Team Rogue as their first professional “Tweeter,” and the signing leaves us with more questions than answers. The parody Twitter account for religious figure “Satan” surprisingly signed with an esports organization on January 28, showing that there’s an interest from organizations for anybody – even the personification of evil. Team Rogue announced the signing in a congratulatory tweet that quickly went viral, as it’s a very bizarre move that caught fans off guard. What’s even stranger is the team is calling Satan their first professional “Tweeter,” presumably meaning that this account’s job is what they already do best – creating viral posts. Welcome to Hell! 🔥🔥🔥 Please say hello to our first Rogue Pro Tweeter @s8n. It only cost us our soul to get him onboard.#GoRogue pic.twitter.com/k0O1Aktqht— Rogue (@RoguexOfficial) January 28, 2020 Satan’s Twitter account, s8n, has over 2.4 million followers, so it’s a massive signing (even if they have no streaming career to speak of). Currently, the account tweets out jokes daily, with most of them gaining tens of thousands of likes and retweets. How, or if, the account will change now that it’s under the Rogue umbrella remains to be seen. Now, what exactly does it mean to be a professional tweeter? 100 Thieves member Avalanche tried to get some clarification from Twitter itself. Since Satan has gone pro with his tweets, Ava wanted to know if tweeting could be considered a sport. To his surprise, Twitter actually responded and confirmed that tweeting was, in fact, a sport. Well, there you have it. The man downstairs, himself, is now a professional tweeter. Since his viral tweets will now be under the Rogue banner, the organization is likely banking on the king of hell bringing more eyes to the organization. The account has already updated their name to “Satan goes Rogue,” in an effort to advertise their recent signage. The potential for crossover is huge, as it’s very possible many people following the account have no idea what Rogue even is right now. Rogue isn’t the biggest name in the esports industry, but it is co-owned by popular EDM artist Steve Aoki, so they’re no slouch, either. Perhaps this “signing of Satan” could be just what the group needs to skyrocket in popularity.

Sauce Gardner laughs off iShowSpeed claiming he could beat him in race – Dexerto
Sauce Gardner laughs off iShowSpeed claiming he could beat him in race Instagram: ishowspeed/New York JetsIn an exclusive interview with Dexerto, New York Jets’ star cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner spoke about how he got hooked on Warzone, his Call of Duty dream team and, perhaps most importantly, whether streamer iShowSpeed would really stand a chance against him in a race. After being drafted by the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft, Sauce quickly became one of the standout players in his position, named Defensive Rookie of the Year, as well as first-team All Pro and going to the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons. He’s even the highest-rated cornerback in Madden 25. Not only that, but Sauce has been loud and proud about his love of gaming and the streaming world, playing Warzone and other games with numerous top streamers. When speaking about these streamers, though, there was one question that Sauce had to give a resolute answer to, and that’s whether Speed would beat him in a race. “He’s not faster than me,” said Gardner when the idea of him racing Speed was even mentioned. “He always says he’s faster than me. He’s fast, he’s an athlete, but he’s not faster than me.” Speed has showcased himself as a talented and athletic person in his time on stream, including running a 4.4 second 40-yard dash himself — roughly the same as Sauce’s 4.41 at the NFL Combine in 2022. In fact, he’s already faced off with Gardner in his own game, with the NFL star failing to guard the streamer in a collab they did together earlier in 2024. Both believe they have a shot at beating each other in straight up race, and it feels as though neither will truly settle until the dash is complete and we know once and for all who is faster out of the two. It’s not just on his feet that Sauce is competitive, though, as he spoke about which of his NFL peers, as well as the best players in the game, he would like to team with in Warzone. In terms of the pro players, Sauce wanted to slide himself in right next to the GOATs of the game, with the current Falcons trio of Shifty, Biffle, and Soka. As for his fellow NFL stars, Sauce said his Warzone dream team would be JuJu Smith-Schuster, Justin Simmons, and Jets teammate Isaiah Davis. Gardner isn’t the only person that wants to take Speed on in a foot race either: Jake Paul wants to put $25,000 on the line to take him on, while Olympian Eva Swoboda invited Speed to race her too.

And that includes celebrities. Everyone from Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus to Lil Nas X has been connected to Roblox, either through brand deals or performing digital concerts. Sasha Banks tells Logan Paul she may quit WWE to follow The Rock to Hollywood – Dexerto
Sasha Banks tells Logan Paul she may quit WWE to follow The Rock to Hollywood IMPAULSIVE / YouTubeFormer WWE women’s champion Sasha Banks has revealed her Hollywood ambitions on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, opening the door to a WWE exit if the right offer came along. As the cousin of Snoop Dogg, ‘The Legit Boss’ has grown up around superstars. Fighting her way from the independent wrestling circuit’s Chaotic Wrestling to being one of the biggest draws at multiple WrestleManias and sparking a women’s revolution, the 30-year-old has accomplished so much with WWE. After competing on the same show as YouTube boxing sensation Logan Paul, with WrestleMania 38, Sasha stopped off to chat with the guys on The IMPAULSIVE podcast for Episode 320. The podcast aired for the first time on April 5, touching on her loss to Bianca Belair on the grandest stage of them all. Though, most notably, the topic of Hollywood came up after her appearance in Disney+ show ‘The Mandalorian’ for Season 2, where she plays Koska Reeves. Sasha Banks on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast After discussing the standout male WWE superstars of history, she set out her ambitions: “That’s the standard. You have John Cena, you have The Rock, and it’s like… Where is that woman’s name next to it?” Logan responded: “You do stuff outside of the WWE as well, so I assume you have a five year plan to expand your arsenal. Right, you were in The Mandalorian, some real Hollywood stuff. Is more of this happening? Are you going to break out and become that superstar of the world?” Hinting at her future goals, Sasha responded: “Yes I am. It’s kind of really hard to do with the WWE schedule. I mean, when I shot The Mandalorian last year it went from doing TV, doing live events, then getting on a plane and going to LA – shooting all week… For three months.” (The discussion starts at 44: 47 in the video below) “If I’m going to take over the world, it’s like… I got to choose one or the other. And that’s the hard part to think of, because wrestling has been my life, my whole life,” the WWE superstar added. “So, when that time and opportunity comes, I need to sit back and think: Is it full-time Hollywood, is it full-time doing something else I’m passionate about?” The former women’s champion goes on to say she’s already transcended the wrestling business along with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and others. With big dreams and aspirations in mind, it’s clear that Sasha Banks may have a decision to make in the future. Wrestling icons such as The Rock and John Cena have juggled shooting movies with WWE in the past, but this opens the door to at least a limited wrestling schedule if the right offer presents itself.

What is Santa Cult on TikTok? Christmas PFP trend goes viral – Dexerto
What is Santa Cult on TikTok? Christmas PFP trend goes viral Unsplash: krakenimagesThe cult trend is making another comeback on TikTok, and this time people are getting into the Christmas spirit by joining the ‘Santa Cult’ and changing their profile picture to an image of the festive figure. TikTok has seen its fair share of viral trends, and one trend in particular keeps coming back again and again in different forms, growing increasingly more viral each time—the ‘cult’ trend. While a loose interpretation of the word ‘cult,’ TikTok cults refer specifically to a trend that involves people changing their profile pictures to the same image of a popular person or figure and using that to identify others participating in the trend. Users will then follow anyone they see with the same profile picture as them, as a way to gain thousands of followers. TikTok’s Santa cult Subjects of previous cults have included Lana Del Rey, hamsters, anime character Vegeta, and most recently Ghostface from the ‘Scream’ franchise. But now, people are already getting into the Christmas spirit by participating in the appropriately dubbed ‘Santa Cult.’ As the name suggests, those participating are changing their profile pictures to the same image of Santa Claus, and flooding comment sections with references to the trend in a bid to get more people to join and gain a huge number of new followers. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load While some are sticking firmly with the Ghostface Cult for the time being, others are getting the best of both worlds by adding the spooky figure to the viral image of Santa. Many specifically waited until Halloween was over to change their PFP, now fully ready to embrace the upcoming holiday season. It’s only a matter of time before the next cult starts gaining traction on TikTok, though, nobody can predict who the subject will be next.

Samsung issues apology to Valkyrae after blocking her – Dexerto
Samsung issues apology to Valkyrae after blocking her YouTube: ValkyraeSamsung has apologized to Valkyrae after tagging the streamer in a photo that wasn’t her to promote their 2024 Galaxy Unpacked event before blocking her on Twitter. Samsung recently hosted its Galaxy Unpacked event, which promises to unveil some of its highly-anticipated tech releases. They documented the event on X/formerly Twitter by tweeting photos of what was happening throughout the day. However, someone running the Samsung Twitter/X account put the wrong name to the wrong face, leading to a hilarious slip-up on social media that’s throwing streamer Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter and her fans for a major loop. The girl in the photo taken at the event wasn’t Valkyrae — something she couldn’t help but point out in a post of her own. “Hey Samsung, that is not me, lol,” she replied in her own tweet. Following up later in the day, Valkyrae revealed Samsung had since blocked her on the platform altogether. She tweeted screenshots of Samsung’s tweet along with a screenshot showing their X/Twitter account had blocked her. She wrote: “i thought it was funny relaxxxx.” Samsung has now responded to Valkyrae’s tweet and said: “Hello. We sincerely apologize for the mistakes we made during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. We would never block you on purpose. We will exercise greater caution to make sure these mistakes don’t happen again.” The incident has led to a bevy of hilarious responses from fans, most of whom are finding ways to make jokes and puns about the situation, and also argued that Samsung’s apology was “too serious.” One person said: “Ain’t no way, they finally replied” Another wrote: “Someone panicked & it was so funny – hold your hands up to it.” “Oh no, this apology wasn’t it. You should have doubled down and made her laugh instead, a third person said.

Sam Hyde calls out Hasan with bizarre boxing challenge: “I’m going to kill you” – Dexerto
Sam Hyde calls out Hasan with bizarre boxing challenge: “I’m going to kill you” YouTube: Pro Boxing FansInternet jokester Sam Hyde called out popular Twitch streamer Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker before and after his victory against IAMTHMPSN on the KSI vs. Swarmz undercard. The drama of the night kicked off well before the bell when Sam Hyde brought a new challenge to the table ahead of the fight. His initial challenge was already violent, as in a pre-match interview he announced that he was coming to “kill” Hasan, but after he closed out a 3rd-round TKO against his current opponent, he doubled down on the challenge. Sam Hyde threatens Hasan after defeating IAMTHMPSN The scene in the O2 Arena following Hyde’s win was already a bit of a raucous one before he even spoke a word about what was to come next. His fans were overjoyed with the comedian coming out on top but things got much wilder when he took the mic. He started by thanking the people who helped him prepare for the big night, but after being asked who he wanted to fight next, things flew off the rails a little bit. “You know that Hasan Piker! I’m coming to kill you! In Los Angeles at your house,” the heavyweight announced. Of course, this over-the-top callout is what the influencer boxing world has come to expect from the ‘Candy Man’ so it’s best not to take his words too literally, but he clearly means business when it comes to making this bout of the big boys happen. He first insisted that he would make this fight happen back in March, and has proven a few times over that he means business. Piker has yet to respond to the latest callout but we’ll be sure to bring the latest updates if the gamer/political commentator does decide to acknowledge that he’s been challenged.

Sam Hyde sends gruesome threat to Hasan after boxing match challenge – Dexerto
Sam Hyde sends gruesome threat to Hasan after boxing match challenge YouTube: Pro Boxing FansSam Hyde called out Hasan in a bizarre post on Twitter after reacting to a clip of his debate with Trainwreck and xQc, where Hasan discussed the subreddit LivestreamFails and Sam’s previous callout to him. In the post, Hyde made several strange promises that he would “experiment” on Hasan, referring back to his previous pledge to fight him in a boxing match. He said: “Oh brother… stop being hysterical. I just want to change the way you look… I wanna experiment on you and make you uglier….. “I wanna get you in a shipping container and maybe ill have some bolts in your neck like Frankenstein when I’m done… relax.” Hasan has blocked Sam Hyde on Twitter so it’s unlikely he’ll respond directly. When did Sam Hyde challenge Hasan to a fight? The callout comes after Hyde threw down the gauntlet last year in the wake of his fight with IAMTHMPSN. Hyde fought the violin player on the KSI vs Swarmz undercard, and challenged Hasan to a fight after his victory. “You know that Hasan Piker! I’m coming to kill you! In Los Angeles at your house!” However, Hasan quickly dismissed any notion of fighting Hyde. When asked at TwitchCon if he’d consider accepting the challenge, he said: “Dude, no. Why are you talking to me about some dumb*** weirdo n*zi? You think it’s f**king funny, dude?” The clip Hyde responded to was part of his debate with Trainwrecks, which was organized by xQc in order to make get the pair on better terms. Salt Papi boxing record: All opponents & fight results so far YouTube: DAZN X SeriesYouTuber and TikTok star Salt Papi has risen up the ranks in the world of influencer boxing to headline the latest Misfits card against Amadeusz Ferrari. Following his main event bout, here is Salt Papi’s boxing record and a list of everyone he has fought so far. Following in the wake of the likes of KSI, brothers Logan and Jake Paul, Salt Papi (Nathaniel Bustamante) has certainly made his mark in boxing from his handful of fights so far. Although he does not have a perfect record, Salt Papi will be more than aware that, as a boxer, you are only as good as your last fight. Contents Salt Papi boxing record – Halal Ham, 2022 – Andy Warski, 2022 – Josh Brueckner, 2023 – Anthony Taylor, 2023 – Slim Albaher, 2023 – Amadeusz Ferrari, 2024 – Salt Papi boxing record Overall, Salt Papi’s boxing record stands at 4-2: four wins and two losses across his six fights in total. He has recorded two knockout victories (Andy Warski and Josh Brueckner) along the way and been on the receiving end of a technical knockout defeat at the hands of Slim Albaher, with the referee stepping in. Halal Ham, 2022 Salt Papi made his boxing debut in 2022 on the Deji vs Alex Wassabi undercard as he took on comedic content creator, Halal Ham. Despite his opponent first stepping into the ring in 2018, Salt Papi won the three-round bout by unanimous decision from the judges. With footwork being an essential part of boxing, Salt Papi put his viral dance tutorial videos to good use in the ring as he took the first steps of his boxing career with a comprehensive win. Andy Warski, 2022 Next up for Salt Papi was a fight against Andy Warski on the undercard of KSI vs Swarmz & Pineda. Warski, a content creator and film producer by trade, was knocked out by Salt Papi in the first round with a devastating double left hook inside the first 20 seconds of the fight. It was a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment as he demonstrated some brutal power within seconds of the bell going. A timely reminder for any fans attending his next fight to make sure you take your seats nice and early – the hot dogs and popcorn can wait. Josh Brueckner, 2023 Salt Papi set his sights on Josh Brueckner next up in what would prove to be the biggest statement win of his career. Brueckner, an MMA fighter in his own right, was warned about his opponent’s left hook after Salt Papi’s demolition of Warski. But there was nothing the ‘Boogeyman’ could do about it as he was brought to the canvas in the second round. It sparked wild scenes inside Wembley Arena as fans who had turned up early for the KSI vs Faze Temperrr undercard were far from disappointed. Anthony Taylor, 2023 Salt Papi’s blistering start to his boxing career came to a grinding halt after a unanimous decision defeat to Anthony Taylor on the KSI vs Joe Fournier undercard. Taylor, who had previously fought and lost to Tommy Fury, got the better of Salt Papi on the judges’ scorecards after the fight went the distance. The result came as a shock in the influencer boxing scene, but KSI, speaking after the bout, believed that Salt Papi’s decision to only fight three rounds ultimately cost him. “Three rounds favored Anthony Taylor, so I didn’t really understand why he wanted to do three rounds,” KSI said. “All [Taylor] needed to do is just do his tactic and make it rough and dirty for three rounds, and then he’s out and it’s easy. However, he couldn’t do that with a long period of time, with several rounds.” Slim Albaher, 2023 Looking to get back to winning ways, Salt Papi eyed up a bout with YouTuber Slim Albaher on the highly anticipated Prime Card. Showing up to the fight in the best shape of his career to date, Salt Papi looked incredibly sharp in the first two rounds as he took control of the fight. But the 30-year-old was caught and dropped in the fourth round as the referee stepped in to call the fight in favor of Slim by TKO. Amadeusz Ferrari, 2024 With two consecutive losses to the hands of Anthony Taylor and Slim Albaher, Salt Papi looked to redeem himself on X Series 014. And he sure did stepping into the ring with former Fame MMA fighter Amadeusz Ferrari — who was no match for the TikTok and YouTube star. The 30-year-old walked out on top of the bout after his opponent decided to not carry on fighting at the start of the fourth round. Salt Bae roasted for trying to get photo with Messi at World Cup – Dexerto
Salt Bae roasted for trying to get photo with Messi at World Cup Instagram: @nusr_etTurkish chef Salt Bae has been slammed by fans the world over for forcing his way into a photo op with Lionel Messi during the World Cup. Nusret Gökçe, better known as Salt Bae, rose to internet stardom in 2017 when videos of his signature salting technique made waves online. He’s since entertained many celebrities at his restaurants, including the likes of David Beckham, Diddy, and Naomi Campbell. Notably, the Turkish food entertainer previously met Argentine footballer Lionel Messi. But many people agree that Salt Bae’s recent antics with the FIFA World Cup winner went a few steps too far. Fans roast Salt Bae for behavior with Lionel Messi at the World Cup This past Sunday, Messi led Argentina to a World Cup title against France. In the immediate aftermath of the win, though, viewers at home took note of one awkward moment – Salt Bae’s intrusion. The world-renowned chef was spotted chasing after Messi for a photo opportunity, grabbing at the footballer when his attempts to slow him down were ignored. Salt Bae eventually managed to get a quick picture alongside Messi, but few were impressed with the way he went about doing so. Barstool Sports’ Bobby Reagan joked the pro footballer deserved another trophy for dodging for Salt Bae for so long: Others called it harassment, with some folks pointing out that FIFA shouldn’t have allowed the restauranteur on the pitch at all. Salt Bae pulling aside other World Cup champions for pictures with the gold trophy has similarly been viewed as “cringe.” Suffice it to say, Salt Bae distracting Messi and other players from the World Cup celebrations won’t be remembered fondly.

Why is Salt Bae trending again? Hilarious video of chef goes viral – Dexerto
Why is Salt Bae trending again? Hilarious video of chef goes viral Instagram: @nusr_etSalt Bae, the infamous chef who became a meme, is trending again on Twitter after a hilarious video of him feeding a woman meat next to who appears to be her partner went viral. Nusret Gökçe is a Turkish chef who owns a chain of luxury steak houses. However, most people know him as Salt Bae after a video of him extravagantly sprinkling salt on a steak went viral and became a meme. Since then, he’s amassed a large following on social media and gained worldwide fame. His steak houses have become a hot spot for celebrities, from Liverpool defender Virgil Dan Dijk to UFC superstar Connor McGregor. Four years have passed since the original video. However, he’s started trending again on Twitter after a video of him feeding a woman meat next to her apparent partner, who looks unimpressed, has gone viral. Salt Bae garnishes the meat with salt using his trademark technique. Then, he stabs a piece with his knife, smears it on some more salt, dangles it in front of the woman, and lowers it into her mouth. However, the man sitting next to the woman, who seems to be her partner, looked less than impressed. He watched the whole situation play out with an unenthusiastic gaze. People have been screenshotting his reaction with hilarious captions and comparisons to similar expressions. https://twitter.com/YouAdoreeShay/status/1370241016352022528?s=20 The consensus is that perhaps he felt threatened by Salt Bae’s exotic charm and was being over-protective of his partner. But one user pointed out that maybe he was starving and envious she got the first bite. Either way, it seems like Salt Bae is back in the spotlight for a while, and he’ll almost certainly lap it up.

Sakura Miko tops VTuber streaming stats for Q2 2022 after mega celebrations – Dexerto
Sakura Miko tops VTuber streaming stats for Q2 2022 after mega celebrations YouTube: Sakura MikoHololive star Sakura Miko has risen up the stream rankings to claim the number one VTuber spot for Q2 2022, according to stats from Stream Hatchet. She is the third-biggest female streamer overall, with Usada Pekora and VShojo’s Ironmouse rounding out the list. She might not be the first name you think of when you hear Hololive — especially for a Western audience — but Sakura Miko is one of the biggest VTubers in the world for a reason. The pink-haired superstar (living up to her name) has taken home the accolade of the most watched VTuber for Q2 2022, with more than 4.5 million hours watched across April to June according to a report from Stream Hatchet. It’s been a mega quarter for Sakura Miko. She recently crested 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, and has had a jam packed schedule for basically the whole three months. She has been very active on Hololive’s Rust and Minecraft servers, collabing with other stars from the VTuber agency. Those numbers aren’t just good for a VTuber but any content creator. Miko’s 4.5 million across the three months makes her the third-most popular streamer on any platform outside of China, trailing behind Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa (8.2 million) and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys (also 4.5 million). She is joined in the top 10 by fellow Hololive star Usada Pekora, who was fifth overall with 4.1 million hours watched. This is even more impressive given she was on hiatus for a month, returning in mid-June. VShojo star ‘Ironmouse’ rounded out the list with 3.3 million hours watched. It’s a decline from her record-breaking quarter earlier this year thanks to her subathon, but she’s held on to the majority of her audience to keep pushing forward as Twitch’s biggest VTuber. These three names are a staple on these top 10 lists, but as VTubing continues to grow with new generation debuts seemingly endless, expect more to pop up.

That doesn’t appear to be the case, however, as she has since come forward to outright deny these rumors. “All that stuff is so blown out of proportion,” she said on Instagram. “I wasn’t originally going to address this because the truth always comes out,” Saiviantha explained to almost 10,000 followers on the platform. “But now that my name [is] being dragged through the mud, I think it’s important to say my part.” It turns out their original meeting was strictly for business. “I actually met Bryce and his team because I was connected by a really good friend of mine to go there for work. Sakamata Chloe forced to take Hololive break as ghosts haunt her house – Dexerto
Sakamata Chloe forced to take Hololive break as ghosts haunt her house YouTube: Sakamata ChloeHololive star Sakamata Chloe took a break from her streaming activities after a strange occurrence earlier in July when fans spotted a mysterious noise in the background. The “paranormal activity” has reportedly gotten so bad the VTuber is looking to move. Ghosts and paranormal activity are often seen as just imaginary constructs, but if you wanted any firm evidence of their existence then Sakamata Chloe’s July 13 stream is as solid as it comes. While she was streaming a voice popped up in the background in a hushed whisper. Since Chloe was talking at the time, it couldn’t be hers. But there was no one else in the house. The mysterious sound spooked the VTuber so much she had her manager come over to help out with some errands, and she ‘felt’ the ghosts around. “We cleaned my house — it was extremely dirty — and we went to eat too,” Chloe updated fans, according to a translation. “Up to then everything was fine, but since we returned to the house weird things started happening. She might not be able to see or hear it, but she is able to ‘feel’ it too.” The voices apparently only got worse after the stream, with the star saying she was “honestly getting sick and scared“. So, on top of juggling her activities and commitments, the Hololive JP star is looking to move to a different house to expunge the ghosts: “I will be moving to a different place after this, looking for a place where I can stay. For the schedule, we will decide on it later on.” Even Cover Corp CEO Motoaki ‘Yagoo’ Tanigo urged Chloe to move after the VTuber leaked a message from him saying “I can’t handle scary stuff like this.” While it may seem like a rather surreal story, it’s not Chloe’s first run-in with mysterious voices and other weird activity on her stream — but this latest occurrence was the tipping point. “Those that don’t believe in these things, they’ll be like ‘what is she scared about?’ It’s fine to be like that. I can’t say anything for certain and I can’t promise that it will all be fine on my next stream,” she said. Sakamata Chloe hasn’t streamed since her July 16 update stream, and she hasn’t indicated when she will return.

SAG-AFTRA plan second strike against major video game companies Instagram: adamconoverSAG-AFTRA announced on Friday that they are seeking authorization to launch a second strike, this time against some of the largest video game companies in the world. Big AAA developers, including Activision and Electronic Arts (EA) would be the newest targets of the actors’ strike, which has been ongoing since July this year and shows little sign of letting up after negotiations were not resumed. SAG-AFTRA previously went on strike against AAA game companies in 2016, but with the rapid integration of AI into so many workplaces, the union has new demands that address the changes in the industry. SAG-AFTRA call for protections from AI in game development The demands that SAG-AFTRA are making from the video game companies include increased rates for performers, similar to what they’ve been asking for from film and TV studios. They’ve also highlighted protections from AI in the industry as another demand, which makes sense considering the rolling out of AI in video game development at the highest level. The union has also called for game companies to provide on-site medics during development, as well as a ban on performing stunts in self-taped auditions. These demands reflect new expectations for actors in video games as motion capture tech becomes standard practice in leading titles. SAG-AFTRA’s president, Fran Drescher, said: “Once again artificial intelligence is putting our members in jeopardy of reducing their opportunity to work, and once again, SAG-AFTRA is standing up to tyranny on behalf of its members.” From this statement, it’s clear that the AI demands are front and center of the strike’s justification. AI has been particularly controversial in recent years due to its capability in generating NPCs, for both dialogue and more complex mechanics. For a complete rundown of what prompted that SAG-AFTRA strike, what they’re hoping to achieve, and all the movies and shows being affected, check out our in-depth explainer of the situation.

Sage Northcutt is Willing to Fight Logan Paul, “I think it could be a great matchup” – Dexerto
Sage Northcutt is Willing to Fight Logan Paul, “I think it could be a great matchup” Logan Paul – YouTube / Sage Northcutt – TwitterProfessional mixed martial artist Sage Northcutt has expressed an interest in getting into the octagon with popular YouTuber Logan Paul. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Northcutt said that their potential match “could be massive,” after Uijah Faber stated that he’d like to see Paul fight a legitimate UFC fighter such as Northcutt. The MMA fighter seems enthusiastic to turn the potential match-up into reality, stating that both Paul’s fans and his own audience would enjoy the spectacle. He didn’t underestimate Paul’s strength, however, citing the YouTuber’s high school wrestling career and boxing form during his fight with KSI. “I never underestimate a guy who believes in himself,” Northcutt admitted. “I would like to see myself fight him.” Northcutt’s fans apparently want to see him go up against a wrestler, to boot. With Paul’s experience in the sport, their match could prove to be an interesting one – but Northcutt mentioned that he’d fight using any style Paul wanted. “I’d be willing to have a boxing match with him, or an MMA match, whatever he’d like,” Northcutt conceded. “He said he would like to fight in the UFC, so I think I’m not too big for him. I think it could be a great matchup.” Paul expressed an interest in joining the UFC prior to his boxing match with fellow YouTuber KSI. In another interview with TMZ, Paul stated that he wanted to fight a UFC fighter after his upcoming rematch, citing CM Punk as his desired opponent, specifically. Paul has not yet responded to a possible fight with Northcutt, but his determination to join the sport leaves further developments up to speculation.

Safiya Nygaard gives guided tour of $25,000 Las Vegas hotel room – Dexerto
Safiya Nygaard gives guided tour of $25,000 Las Vegas hotel room Instagram: safiyanyYouTuber Safiya Nygaard and husband Tyler Williams have shown off an incredible Las Vegas hotel room – with a ludicrous total cost of $25,000 per night. The hotel was the four-star Westgate, which sits just one block away from the iconic Las Vegas Strip and has been home to some of the biggest names in the world – including the late Elvis Presley, who saw out the last few years of his life on the 30th floor Imperial Suite. Safiya and Tyler decided to celebrate their joint-bachelor/bachelorette party in style towards the end of 2019, staying in Westgate’s most expensive room, and now they’ve shown off exactly why it’s so pricey. The room itself features 14,000 square feet of real estate – which is much larger than the average American household, let alone a hotel room. Moving first into the foyer, there are multiple horse statues and a renaissance-style ceiling, standing under which you can look out to see Vegas in its entirety. The “main room” features living and dining quarters spread out in an open-plan fashion, with seating and tables aplenty as residents seek to find the best spot in the room. On either end, there is a cinema room as well as a bar, meaning you get a little more than in the standard hotel stay – not even including the $100,000 grand piano sat in the middle of the room. Not only that, but there’s a centrally-located garden with a pool, a koi pond, and more seating areas, meaning you can make the most of the desert sun during your stay. Beside it, the master bedroom features a study, huge en-suite bathroom and incredible antique furnishings that must have cost even more than the nightly price would suggest. Aside from that, there are two more bedrooms which each feature their own huge bathrooms, on entirely separate wings (for lack of a better term) of the hotel room. For $25,000, this is more or less exactly what you would expect from a hotel room, with all the unnecessary furnishings and luxury that the average person expects the superfluously rich to live with. As Safiya and Tyler say at the end, the suite is incredible and it “would be hard for any wedding present to top this” – needless to say, a hotel room of this caliber is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that really has to be seen to be believed.

View this post on Instagram While some fans reacted with suspicion at this move, with several Instagram users pointing out her relationship status, others said that the show was pre-filmed back in October, meaning that that the kiss – which, according to fellow contestant, involved “a lot of tongue” could have potentially happened before Quesada and Noriega got together. However, as one Instagram user pointed out, even if that was the case, Sabrina and Cooper were “talking” at the time, which makes the timing of the kiss nonetheless suspicious. With neither Sabrina and Cooper speaking out publicly about the footage as of yet, it looks like fans will just have to wait to see how it all plays out on screen. Sabrina Quesada asks for privacy amid shock breakup with Cooper Noriega – Dexerto
Sabrina Quesada asks for privacy amid shock breakup with Cooper Noriega Instagram: cooper.noriegaTikTok star Sab Quesada is shutting down assumptions from fans after announcing her unexpected split from ex-boyfriend Cooper Noriega. Sab Quesada is a bonafide internet superstar, boasting over 3.9 million followers on TikTok and an additional 860 thousand over on Instagram. She and fellow TikToker Cooper Noriega had been dating since October 2020, often posting photos and videos with each other on social media. Although the couple came under scrutiny shortly after getting together due to cheating rumors (following Quesada’s appearance on “Next Influencer”), the couple seemed to be going strong… until spring 2022. View this post on Instagram Sab Quesada and Cooper Noriega break up On April 21, 2022, Sab posted a message to her Instagram stories that threw fans for a loop: she and Cooper have officially parted ways. The influencer claimed that neither party had wronged each other and asked fans for privacy as they take this next step in their lives. “Hi guys, me and Cooper are no longer together and would appreciate some privacy during this time,” she wrote. “Neither of us did anything so please don’t make any assumptions.” “It was a mutual decision,” she added. “We’re just young and sometimes things just don’t work out the way you want them to. I will love him forever and he will always be my best friend. Thank you guys for everything.” Cooper himself has made no comment on the subject at the time of writing. Fans of the couple are taking to social media to give their sympathies in wake of Sab’s unexpected announcement. “You’re strong Cooper,” one fan said over on Instagram. “I love you, we’re all here for you.” “Hope you are doing okay,” another said on Sab’s page. “Sending you many hugs.” While Sab and Cooper’s romance has sadly ended, TikTok star Addison Rae’s romance with guitarist Omer Fedi is sparking rumors of marriage — something her father commented on in a recent interview.

Sabrina Quesada denies cheating rumors after “Next Influencer” episode – Dexerto
Sabrina Quesada denies cheating rumors after “Next Influencer” episode YouTube: Awesomeness TVPopular social media mogul Sabrina Quesada has denied allegations of cheating on current boyfriend and TikTok star Cooper Noriega while filming the YouTube reality show ‘Next Influencer.’ Sabrina Quesada is an 18-year-old influencer with over two million followers on TikTok. Boasting her own merch line and hailing from the ‘Not a Content House’ collective, she’s already well on her way to internet stardom; but it seems that she’s been met with a major scandal, instead. Quesada took part in YouTuber Alex Warren’s ‘Next Influencer’ reality show, the latest episode of which has caused quite a stir online after she was seen kissing influencer Julian Jara — a guy who is not her current boyfriend. Cheating rumors quickly spread online, with many noting that Quesada is actually dating TikToker Cooper Noriega, leading to a full-on dramageddon for the star. However, Quesada has since denied the allegations in a series of social media posts, claiming that she hadn’t begun talking to her current boo until the show was almost done filming. “Lol I did not cheat on Coop,” Sabrina wrote in a Tweet. “The show is pre-filmed and it’s a SHOW. Don’t take everything that happens on it so seriously, because I’ve been acting for years and I know how to do it well.” Still, it doesn’t seem that her explanation appeased critics, who claimed that she was lying; but a subsequent statement from Cooper himself may have put a stop to the madness. A rough translation of the Spanish tweet calls Sabrina’s critics clout chasers, and states that he and Quesada weren’t even talking at the time that the kiss was caught on camera — an allegation made popular by influencers ‘the Jara Twins,’ who Sabrina hit out in another Tweet. “I’m not gonna stand for two guys using my name and twisting the truth for attention,” she wrote. “I’m not a cheater, I’ve been cheated on more times than i can count and I’m not that type of person. The show was shot in early October, and the videos and pictures posted of me are out of context.” https://twitter.com/sabquesadilla/status/1338591751116746752 While it doesn’t look like the criticism is stopping anytime soon, both Quesada and Noriega are adamant that things are being blown out of proportion after a clip from an internet show took the TikTok world by storm.

Sabrina Carpenter’s newest music video leads to punishment for priest – Dexerto
Sabrina Carpenter’s newest music video leads to punishment for priest Youtube: Sabrina CarpenterIn her “Feather” music video, Sabrina Carpenter danced through the halls of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Annunciation Parish, and it led to the parish priest being stripped of his administrative duties. Sabrina Carpenter made some bold moves with her 2022 studio album, Emails I Can’t Send. From the title track to songs like “Nonsense” and “decode,” the singer-songwriter staked her claim to pop music. In 2023, the pop singer issued a deluxe edition, titled Emails I Can’t Send Fwd:, which features four new tracks including the now-controversial “Feather.” With the music video for “Feather,” Carpenter finds herself in hot water following filming in a sacred Brooklyn church in September 2023. Carpenter’s “Feather” video caused a stir in the Catholic Church In “Feather,” Sabrina Carpenter dances through the hallowed halls of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Annunciation Parish, a church located in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. Dressed in a black tulle dress and matching veil, Carpenter makes her way up and down the aisle of the church. Despite permission from the parish pastor Msgr. Jamie J. Gigantiello, the Brooklyn Diocese didn’t take too kindly to what has been perceived as sacrilegious. Bishop Brennan stated that the Church was “appalled” by what they had seen, noting that the “parish did not follow Diocesan policy regarding the filming on Church property, which includes a review of the scenes and script.” Several other scenes in the video have fueled the controversy, namely one in which two young men are seen reading a book titled Tampons Should Be Free. In another, Carpenter witnesses a massacre in a gym and is sprayed with blood. Gigantiello later issued a lengthy apology and took “full responsibility” for the video shoot. “I offer my sincere apologies to our faithful parishioners for this shameful representation, which I wholeheartedly renounce,” he wrote. “I ask that following the very example of Christ’s forgiveness, you find it possible to forgive my oversight in this unfortunate matter.” Sabrina Carpenter responds to priest punishment On November 29, the pop-music artist spoke with Variety and addressed the music video controversy. “We got approval in advance and Jesus was a carpenter,” was her response to the outlet. The video is still available on YouTube and judging by her response, Sabrina has no intention of taking it down. In the meantime, stay tuned to Dexerto for all your entertainment needs.

s8n banned on Twitter days after becoming Rogue’s first “pro Tweeter” – Dexerto
s8n banned on Twitter days after becoming Rogue’s first “pro Tweeter” Twitter: Rogue / TwitterSatan’s very own Twitter account, @s8n, has been suspended from the platform just 48 hours after esports organization Rogue signed them on as a “professional Tweeter” The popular s8n Twitter account, with over 2.3 million followers to its name, has been taken down as of January 30 for violating the platform’s rules. It comes days after the popular account was signed by European team Rogue as their first “pro Tweeter,” with Satan himself taking over the organization’s page from January 28. Welcome to Hell! 🔥🔥🔥 Please say hello to our first Rogue Pro Tweeter @s8n. It only cost us our soul to get him onboard.#GoRogue pic.twitter.com/k0O1Aktqht— Rogue (@RoguexOfficial) January 28, 2020 News of the ban started circulating on January 30 when many users noticed that they could no longer access the account’s page from the Rogue tweet about the takeover. 100 Thieves The Mob member ‘Avalanche’ tweeted out “damn, they took s8n,” along with a screenshot of the song “Feds Did a Sweep” by Future. Speculation has been rife about why the popular Twitter account was suspended. ‘Mako’ tweeted out a screenshot allegedly from the creator of the account, which seemed to reveal Twitter had disabled the parody account for “violating rules against platform manipulation and spam.” This is what they got @s8n for…wonder if he’ll get it back 😳 pic.twitter.com/THWHReihlD — mako (@Mako) January 31, 2020 “You may not use Twitter’s services in a manner intended to artificially amplify or suppress information or engage in behavior that manipulates or disrupts people’s experience on Twitter,” the statement says. According to SocialBlade, the s8n account has only 7,452 tweets to its name over its 12 years on the platform. However, platform manipulation could also apply to ‘alt accounts’ like the 220,000 follower @s8nspam account, which is enough to get both accounts banned by affiliation. The wording on the email also makes it appear the account is banned permanently from the platform, so Rogue’s first professional Tweeter might have a hard time doing his new job. The identity behind the s8n twitter account is allegedly a 26-year-old British man named Michael, as reported in an article by OneZero. The account has gotten in trouble with Twitter in the past, even getting “shadow banned” from the platform when the algorithm was revised in 2019. Dexerto has reached out to Twitter and Rogue for comment.

Sabrina Carpenter denies new song is Olivia Rodrigo ‘Drivers License’ diss track – Dexerto
Sabrina Carpenter denies new song is Olivia Rodrigo ‘Drivers License’ diss track Instagram: Sabrina Carpenter/ Instagram: Olivia RodrigoSabrina Carpenter has responded after she was accused of writing a “diss track” about Olivia Rodrigo, the singer of viral TikTok hit Drivers License. Drivers License by Disney actress Olivia Rodrigo, broke records last week for becoming the fastest song to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. It was quite literally an overnight sensation, racking up over 9 million views within the space of just a few days. Actress Sabrina Carpenter, who also became famous on Disney, then brought out her own track called Skin on Friday, January 22, but many people viewed the lyrics as shade toward Olivia Rodrigo. Drivers License is thought to be about Olivia Rodrigo’s own relationships, and therefore widely considered to be about her fellow High School Musical: The Series cast member Joshua Bassett, who has also been linked to Carpenter. Rodrigo’s song features the lyrics, “and you’re probably with that blonde girl/ who always made me doubt/ she’s so much older than me/ she’s everything I’m insecure about.” Meanwhile, Carpenter’s single Skin has the lyrics: “maybe you didn’t mean it/ maybe blonde was the only rhyme” and “you can try to get under my, under my, under my skin while he’s on mine,” After staying silent on the issue, Sabrina has now spoken out on Instagram to explain why her song is not actually a diss track on Olivia. In a caption, she wrote “Thank you to everyone who has listened to Skin, especially those who have opened their minds to lyrically what I was trying to get across. “I wasn’t bothered by a few lines in a (magnificent) song and wrote a diss track about it. I was at a tipping point in my life for countless reasons. So I was inspired to do what I usually do to cope, write something that I wish I could have told myself in the past. https://www.instagram.com/p/CKc5kIlAEwZ/ “People can only get to you if you give them the power to. and a lot of people were trying to get to me. The song isn’t calling out one single person. Some lines address a specific situation, while other lines address plenty of other experiences I’ve had this past year. It also shows that many things have actually gotten under my skin.. and I’m still learning to not give other people so much power over my feelings. I know a lot of you struggle with the same thing.” To end with, she added, “I don’t want this to become an endless cycle so please don’t take this as an opportunity to send more hate anyone’s way.”

Ryland Adams explains why we shouldn’t “cancel” fiance Shane Dawson – Dexerto
Ryland Adams explains why we shouldn’t “cancel” fiance Shane Dawson YouTube: Ryland Adams, Shane Dawson[jwplayer mgzBNoPb]OG YouTuber Shane Dawson is no stranger to controversy, having come under scrutiny multiple times in the past due to his divisive older content — but the backlash he received in late June incited more outrage than ever before. While Dawson’s past transgressions are well known, new footage emerged showing the star making inappropriate gestures and jokes toward a then-11-year-old Willow Smith, among other videos that many deemed to be pedophilic in nature. Hot on the heels of accusations that both Dawson and makeup mogul Jeffree Star had orchestrated the drama surrounding James Charles in 2019, Shane quickly became the internet’s #1 most wanted YouTuber — but his fiance, Ryland Adams, is asking fans to quell their fury. Adams finally addressed the outrage in early August, nearly a month after the latest outrage against Dawson took over the net (as well as his own heated tirade against claims made by influencer Tati Westbrook). In an August 3 video, Ryland acknowledged that Dawon’s past content may have hurt viewers, and explained that he’d tried not to immediately insert himself into the proceedings for fear of adding to the “intense negative energy” around the matter. “I understand that Shane’s made highly insensitive and offensive jokes, and I know that while they were far in his past, it’s hard to separate that person from who he is today — especially when seeing them in real time and your feelings are being hurt right now,” he began. However, Ryland asked that fans allow Dawson room for growth, arguing that the Shane he knows today isn’t the Shane from many years past, as seen in his old videos. “At some point, I hope that we can champion change and growth over canceling someone altogether, or going for the absolute worst on the internet,” he continued. “…everyone has something in their past that they’re not proud of. But I don’t think that takes away from the incredible content he has put out over the years.” Adams’ video follows that of his sister, Morgan Adams, who held similar sentiments regarding the backlash against Dawson — although both uploads have been met with some contention among fans. For now, Dawson has remained largely silent after uploading his June 26 video addressing the vitriol against him, leaving viewers waiting for his next move in wake of the drama.

S1mple slams Twitch during first stream back after ban – Dexerto
S1mple slams Twitch during first stream back after ban StarLadderCounter-Strike: Global Offensive pro Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev had a lot to say about Twitch during his first stream back after a ban he was less than pleased with. S1mple was banned from Twitch for a second time on November 28 for allegedly using a homophobic slur directed towards a player in one of his CSGO games. This came just a few months after his first ban for a similar incident in August. He wasn’t impressed with the decision, claiming that the word he used has “different meanings in different contexts”, before slamming the platform for being “stupid” and “terrible.” He went on to ask Twitch to remove his partnership. Can’t remove twitch partnership by myself because of ban, do it instead of me please @Twitch — Sasha (@s1mpleO) November 29, 2019 Many fans speculated that it was the end for s1mple and Twitch, however, the Ukrainian unexpectedly returned to the platform on December 10. The Natus Vincere star didn’t comment on his return on Twitter, where he made his initial complaints, but simply chose to provide a link to his stream. On his stream though, he spoke freely, suggesting that Twitch are “out of their minds” for banning him and arguing that he doesn’t use the word with homophobic intent. “Are they idiots? Have I ever said that I don’t like any particular people?”S1mple later added, once again explaining that he does not use the word to offend or insult. He then continued (translated from Russian): “What, I can’t say on my stream words that I want? Are you f***ing idiots? If I want to say something I will say it, If I don’t I won’t. Why the f**k are they forbidding people saying certain things. Hmph, really funny, these little people.” Some fans have suggested that the Ukrainian could potentially be planning to move to YouTube, where he will stream and upload video content, however, he has not confirmed any future plans. So far neither Twitch nor s1mple have made any further comments, but its possible another sanction could be incoming, after he used the word he was previously banned for again, while his concerns. On this occasion, it wasn’t directed at anyone, but Twitch could still deem that it breaks their community guidelines.

Ryan Gosling gifts new version of ‘I’m Just Ken’ for Christmas Warner Bros.Actor Ryan Gosling teased a brand new Christmas-style version of his hit song “I’m Just Ken” from the Barbie soundtrack. Thanks to a star-turning performance as Ken in Barbie, Ryan Gosling became synonymous with Kenergy. “Anywhere else I’d be a 10,” he laments in the show-stopping “I’m Just Ken” musical number. As a dance-off against the other kens, Gosling’s plastic plaything proudly dazzles with some fancy footwork to the pulsing beat in a Grease-meets-Westside-Story sort of way. Ahead of Christmas, Gosling readies a brand new version of the song, expected in full on December 20. Ryan Gosling teases a new version of “I’m Just Ken” In a brand new teaser, Ryan Gosling can be seen working in the studio with none other than Mark Ronson, who’s produced for everyone from Lady Gaga to Dua Lipa and Bruno Mars. Ronson also produced the original version of the song. A new rendition of “I’m Just Ken” plays in the background. Noticeably, Ronson bulks up the performance with even bigger drums, different backing vocals, and a spirited Christmas sensibility. “So, hey, world, check me out, I’m just Ken,” sings Gosling. As Ronson bends over the console, the actor tinkers with various faders and dials, as a way to treat the listener to the song’s revamped style and tone. “You handle this, Ken,” Ronson quips. On working with Gosling, Ronson previously told Entertainment Weekly, “We hadn’t met before, we just went into the studio and talked about music. As he started to get warmed up, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this guy is gonna murder this song.’ And of course, he would. He’s Ken. Who would understand this song better than him.” In August 2023, “I’m Just Ken” bowed at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since amassed 95 million streams on Spotify. The accompanying Barbie soundtrack made a No. 2 bow on the Billboard 200 and scored other hits like Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night.” For more entertainment news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

Ryland Adams criticizes Addison Rae’s UFC controversy: “They got what they wanted” – Dexerto
Ryland Adams criticizes Addison Rae’s UFC controversy: “They got what they wanted” YouTube, Lizze Gordon and Ryland Adams. Twitter, Addison RaeLizze Gordon and Ryland Adams cast doubts over whether Addison Rae was qualified enough for her reporting role at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). In the video posted to YouTube, Adams said he believed Rae “was not the most qualified for the job”. At the same time, he defended Rae against the backlash saying “people just like to be outraged and angry”. The video was posted to their joint channel “The Sip with Ryland Adams and Lizze Gordon” on July 14. He also believes Rae knew it was ridiculous pointing to her tweet claiming she got fired as she “kept doubling down”. Adams said the question of whether Rae deserved the role “doesn’t matter” because of her platform and because “she’s a very pretty young girl.” He continued, “They got what they wanted from her, the position that they hired her for, for what I believe was a one-off gig.” However, Gordon and Adams couldn’t help but make a few digs at Rae. Gordon admits she “didn’t have a problem” with Rae until she saw her on the Kardashians. Both then went on to mock her appearance on Jimmy Fallon. Topic starts at 23:54 Gordon: Addison Rae’s talent “not a real thing” Later on in the episode, Gordon and Adams discuss Rae’s new role in the upcoming “He’s All That” film. Continuing on from the UFC controversy, Adams and Gordon discuss how Rae got into hot water over landing the role. Gordon goes on to say that it was “hella funny” that Rae insisted she auditioned for the role. The YouTuber countered “it’s like ‘no girl they hit you up because of your clout and your following’.” Gordons then went on to mock Rae, saying needed to do was “prove that you’re like marginally capable of being a normal f**king person on-screen saying lines.” Gordon also cast doubts whether Rae had got the role based on her merit and talent because she’d “seen enough to know that it’s not a real thing.” The TikToker’s UFC controversy Rae posted a picture to Instagram showing her wearing some UFC workout gear. The photo fueled speculation that Rae was about to collaborate with the organization. Not long after, she posted several images to Twitter as a reporter for the UFC. The photos were posted with the joke caption “I studied broadcast journalism in college for 3 whole months to prepare for this moment.” This wasn’t Rae’s only controversy at the UFC either. In a NELK boys video posted to their channel, Rae was seen approaching and amicably chatting to former President Donald Trump.

Ryan Garcia arrested for alleged felony vandalism at Los Angeles hotel – Dexerto
Ryan Garcia arrested for alleged felony vandalism at Los Angeles hotel Instagram: kingryanBoxer Ryan Garcia has been arrested after allegedly damaging hotel property at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. According to TMZ Sports, Garcia was led out of the hotel in handcuffs after police were called in on June 8 for trashing his room and a hallway. Footage allegedly shows the boxer exiting the building surrounded by law enforcement, with Garcia shirtless and sporting a helmet. Despite being unable to see his face, Garcia’s back tattoos gave his identity away. News of Garcia’s arrest comes after the 25-1 fighter went on a bizarre social media rant on X (formerly Twitter). In one of his posts, Garcia wrote, “They try to accuse me of their wrongs you won’t find nothing on me.” Police had already been called to the Waldorf Astoria before the arrest for a welfare check after one of Garcia’s family members expressed concern. They determined that the boxer was ok, only to later return following a disturbance at the hotel after Gracia was cut off from drinking. In California, any damage over $400 can be considered a felony. TMZ was reportedly told that Garcia complied with authorities at the time of his arrest and was “seemingly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.” Earlier this year Garcia stunned the boxing world by defeating Devin Haney during their April 20 match, only to later test positive for a banned substance known as Ostarine. He was subsequently sanctioned by the boxing commission with Garcia’s team fighting for the sanction to last “four months or less.” His attorneys claimed the results showed Garcia was a victim of supplement contamination and had not intentionally ingested performance-enhancing supplements. It’s unknown whether or not Garcia will be charged following his arrest, though we’ll be sure to update this space as the story continues to develop.

Ryan Garcia threatens Joe Rogan & claims he’s “scared” to have him on podcast – Dexerto
Ryan Garcia threatens Joe Rogan & claims he’s “scared” to have him on podcast Spotify/Joe Rogan/YouTube: PBD PodcastJoe Rogan has been threatened by boxing star Ryan ‘KingRy’ Garcia, with the former WBC lightweight champion saying he’d “KO” the JRE host unless he allows him onto the podcast. Alongside being one-third of the UFC’s main broadcast team, Joe Rogan has some genuine credentials when it comes to Mixed Martial Arts. The podcasting giant has competed in taekwondo and kickboxing and regularly rolls with MMA fighters when they’re a guest on his show. The Joe Rogan Experience host still trains regularly in kickboxing too, often posting videos of his grueling workout sessions to social media. At times, he’s been asked if he’d step into the crossover fight world, with many fans previously asking him to take on Jake Paul. Now, though, another crossover fight has been thrown his way by former WBC lightweight boxing champion Ryan Garcia. Garcia, 27, is coming off the back of a massive victory over the previously undefeated Devin Haney, and used that as an opportunity to call out Rogan. “I would KO you so quick, but nice kicks fam,” the boxer commented on Rogan’s latest workout video. Though, he added he would relent if the JRE host invited him onto the podcast. “I’ll have mercy if you let me on the show,” he concluded. Garcia didn’t stop there, though, as he also took his beef with Rogan to Twitter. The lightweight claimed that the UFC commentator is “scared” of him. Though, he also made a further, more bizarre claim about why he isn’t being invited on. “I figured it out. Someone put a spell on Joe Rogan to not let me on,” the boxer added. As per JRELibrary, a stats site about guests and episodes of the podcast, there aren’t any other boxers scheduled to make an appearance anytime soon. Though, with the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson superfight around the corner, maybe Joe might want some expert insight from Garcia. We’ll just have to wait and see if that supposed ‘spell’ is lifted.

Garcia’s beef with Jake was revealed as fake to “stir things up,” but things aren’t quite the same between Ryan and Logan. On May 23, Logan filed a defamation lawsuit against Garcia due to the former champion’s comments against Prime Hydration on Twitter/X that Logan says has cost the company millions in lost sales. While talking to paparazzi on June 22, Garcia claimed he’d be willing to fight Jake Paul in an MMA match – as long as Logan drops the lawsuit against him. The Daily Stardust uploaded a video of them talking to Garcia on YouTube and asked the former champion about the possible bout with Jake Paul. “Would you be fighting Jake Paul if he’s down?” they asked, making Ryan think about it for a few seconds. “If Logan drops the lawsuit,” he replied. (Topic starts at 1:24 in video) The Daily Stardust asked Garcia about a fight with Jake after talking to the boxer about his recent steroid-positive drug test and year-long ban from boxing. “I’m retiring for a year,” he said. “So they don’t get the satisfaction for suspending me, cause it’s bull. I’ve never done steroids in my life.” Garcia also said that if Sean O’Malley offered to fight him in the UFC, he’d be willing to do it. “I’m ready to fight anybody at this point,” he shared. Jake hasn’t responded to Garcia’s interest as of writing, but the influencer turned boxer has a packed schedule for 2024 with a fight on July 20, 2024, before his Netflix bout with Mike Tyson in November.

Ryan Garcia apologizes to Logan Paul amid Prime Hydration lawsuit – Dexerto
Ryan Garcia apologizes to Logan Paul amid Prime Hydration lawsuit PBD podcast – YouTubeRyan Garcia has apologized to Logan Paul after the YouTuber sued the boxer for “spreading lies” about Prime Hydration. Logan Paul and Ryan Garcia’s feud has been ongoing for some time now. However, their beef escalated to the extreme after the rising boxer beat then-undefeated fighter Devin Haney on April 20. Garcia disparaged Paul’s hydration beverage company Prime, telling fans not to consume the drink because of its supposed “health risks.” ‘The Maverick’ fired back mocking Garcia after it was revealed that he had tested positive twice for the performance-enhancing drug Ostarine. On May 23, Paul then slammed the 25-1 boxer with a lawsuit for “spreading lies” about Prime Hydration, leading Garcia to backtrack and apologize to the WWE United States champion. The boxer explained in a podcast with model Ana Paula that he “feels bad” about the ongoing beef — noting he was once on good terms with the Paul family. “I just want to say I’m sorry,” Garcia said. “I just feel bad for the fight that we’re going through, because I’ve known the family for years bro.” The boxer continued: “This sh*t breaks my heart. I don’t want to fight with you no more; I don’t got a problem with Prime. I had a problem with you.” Garcia then proceeded to crack open a bottle of Prime and take a swig, calling the beverage “the bomb.” He added: “I love you bro. I’m done with this fighting sh*t.” While his majority decision win over Haney has yet to be overruled, the 25-year-old boxer currently faces a lengthy ban for the failed drug test, with his career now in the hands of the New York Boxing Commission.

Russian Twitch streamer Mira believes she was banned for being “born in the wrong country” – Dexerto
Russian Twitch streamer Mira believes she was banned for being “born in the wrong country” Twitter: mira_twitchRussian Twitch streamer Mira, who has been banned on the platform several times before, has claimed that her latest ban, which she believes is permanent, came because she was “born in the wrong country.” In the early hours of March 4, Mira was banned on Twitch, with viewers speculating about what the possible reason could be. While speculation ran rampant on social media that it may have been due to showing inappropriate content on her stream, an exact reason hasn’t been specified — and Mira claims Twitch has not provided a reason either. However, on a YouTube stream after the ban, she believes it comes down to her nationality. Mira was born in Russia but resides in the United States, and with the current conflict occurring in Ukraine, believes Twitch is punishing her as a result. “I didn’t do anything f**king wrong,” she said, clearly frustrated, in an impromptu YouTube stream several hours later that has now been made private on her channel. “Not on f**king Instagram, not on f**king Twitch, not on f**king Russia. I was born in the wrong country, I’m sorry.” She then slammed her desk in frustration. Mira claimed that Twitch must have looked for a reason to ban her, whether it was accidentally showing nudity or under their new ‘misinformation’ rules. She claimed that there was no valid reason for her to be given a permanent ban based on her content. She went on to call Twitch a “piece of sh*t streaming platform” and suggested that she might stop streaming permanently if she can’t get her channel back. Though the VOD of the YouTube stream has now been made private, Mira did allude to something similar in a tweet just after her ban. She posted saying that she had been “banned from Instagram, Twitch and isolated from the rest of the world for no good reason,” adding that “being born in Russia is truly a debuff.” https://twitter.com/mira_twitch/status/1499689397347831810 Twitch does not comment on individual bans to protect the privacy of users, instead only reaching out to the streamer directly. Mira says her lawyer will be assessing the situation in an attempt to get her unbanned — so she might find out the truth behind her ban sooner rather than later. Mira has previously been banned on Twitch for community guidelines violations, such as accidentally showing nudity on stream, in October 2021.

Rust streamer’s mom goes nuts after he completes loud donation request – Dexerto
Rust streamer’s mom goes nuts after he completes loud donation request A Twitch streamer faced the wrath of his mom after a loud donation request caused her to race into the room and force him to shut down his Rust broadcast. Parents do a lot for their children, so it comes as no surprise that many want the favor to be returned with a little peace and quiet so they can relax and have time to themselves. Unfortunately for streamer ‘jaredsnipedyou’ though, he found out what happens when that peace is disturbed after he was too loud when performing the will of a Twitch donator. Mom goes berserk On January 8, Jared was playing a few matches of Rust when a $1 donator asked him to scream something really loud to annoy his mother. “Okay, it’s a dono, it’s a dono,” he said, before he got up out of his chair. The streamer then proceeded to take his headset off and hang it over the back of the seat in order to protect viewers’ ears. “I’ve already done this like seven times today! I’ve been doubling it up!” he revealed, before he screamed incredibly loud and scrunched his fists up in triumph. Read More: Twitch streamer banned after bullying artist – “Now we wait!” the 14-year-old said as he sat back down, and waited to see if his parent would complain, and right on cue, she burst into the room. “I know you think you’re funny screaming like that again, and you’ll be off your f**king computer for a month!” Jared’s mother exclaimed, as he smirked into the camera. “You think it’s funny? You wanna be off of it now?” she asked as he tried to contest. ”Give me your s**t now!” His mom then proceeded to try and turn her son’s computer off. “You’re done for the night!” she said, as the streamer screamed. “Off! Now! I’m tired of this bulls**t with you that you think everything’s a joke, turn it off!” If anything, this proves that parents should never be messed with, and when they say no means no, it should be taken as serious business. Though as Jared’s Twitch bio states, it’s “all for fun” – which especially rings true for the viewers watching and donating to see his mom rage.

Russell Brand reveals what he really thought of Logan Paul – Dexerto
Russell Brand reveals what he really thought of Logan Paul Instagram: russellbrandIn a video uploaded to YouTube on January 28, Russell Brand has revealed what he really thinks of Logan Paul after the pair appeared on each other’s podcasts. Across the two podcasts, the two discussed the come-up of Logan Paul, Brand’s journey into – and out of – Hollywood, and how their childhood affected who they are today. The episodes were about as introspective as you’ll see Paul be, and the two seemed to get on really well, but now Brand has addressed exactly what he thinks of Logan in a follow-up YouTube video. Opening the video, Brand is on his way to Paul’s house to film their episode of Impaulsive, saying he expects it to be “some kind of frat house […] half a dozen millionaires sitting around smoking weed, eating potato chips and making videos and laughing at each other’s farts.” He then spoke about watching some of Logan’s videos before the two initially met, saying that he thought Logan was genuinely funny and could understand why he had become successful, also describing him as “wholesome, sort of decent and inquiring and sort of bright.” Clearly, Brand had already started to like Paul before they first met and had a good first impression of him, but did say he expected Paul’s house to “not have enough furniture” and “require a woman’s touch.” Following the podcast episode and when he had left, the woman behind Brand’s camera asked him if he was surprised by Logan at all – and he said he was. “I was surprised by his warmth, his sweetness, his self-reflection,” Brand started. “My assumption with anyone that’s successful is that they’re basically going to be an a**hole, a glacial, indefatigable personality that isn’t porous enough to be present.” Logan, he says, goes completely against that. “He’s very present and inquiring. If you’ve been around famous people for a long time, you expect them to be cubic and unapproachable, but then you meet people and they’re generally lovely.” Logan made no secret of the fact that he is a big fan of Russell, and it looks like after their conversations together the feelings might just be reciprocated. Paul even expressed that he would be keen to follow in Brand’s footsteps, doing more work in Hollywood, so we may see them working together one day in the future.

Russian chess player caught on camera allegedly poisoning rival’s pieces – Dexerto
Russian chess player caught on camera allegedly poisoning rival’s pieces CCTVThe Russian Chess Federation has suspended 40-year-old Amina Abakarova after she was caught appearing to poison her rival’s pieces. There’s a new controversy sweeping the chess world and it’s wild enough, it sounds like something out of Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit. On August 2 at the Dagestan Chess Championship, Abakarova was caught on security camera footage appearing to pour a substance on the board twenty minutes before her rival, Umayganat Osmanova’s match. Abakarova had reportedly asked staff if the cameras were in operation and, when she was told they weren’t, she allegedly placed a grey powder on the board – something prosecutors claim was mercury from a thermometer. She’s accused of smearing the poison with a chess piece before stealthily leaving the scene. When Osmanova eventually played later that day, she began to feel ill with “severe dizziness and nausea” and doctor assistance was needed. The health professionals determined that she had been poisoned and the CCTV footage was reviewed. The police detained Abakarova, who reportedly confessed to the poisoning and explained that she wanted to “knock her opponent out of the tournament.” A week earlier, Osmanova had narrowly won the Rapid Chess Championship, edging out Abakarova via tie-breaks. Abakarova is facing charges of “intentional infliction of bodily harm” and could be looking at up to three years in jail if convicted. “Like many others, I am perplexed by what happened, and the motives of such an experienced competitor as Amina Abakarova are incomprehensible,” Dagestan’s Minister of Sport Sazhida Sazhidova said. “The actions she took could have led to a most tragic outcome, threatening the lives of everyone who was present, including herself. Now she must answer for what she did by the law.” Amazingly, Osmanova was able to persevere and ended up placing second in the tournament despite feeling unwell. The chess world has not been without its dramatics in recent years. In addition to this alleged assassination plot, the chess community has its eyes on a long-awaited grudge match between Hans Niemann and Magnus Carlsen after the Norwegian accused the youngster of cheating in the 2022 Sinquefield Cup.

Russ admits he sent “hired goons” to beat up YouTuber Adam22 because of Twitter beef – Dexerto
Russ admits he sent “hired goons” to beat up YouTuber Adam22 because of Twitter beef Instagram/Phil ArellanoYouTuber and Podcast host Adam22 accused rapper and record producer Russ of sending “3 big ass dudes” to attack him, and Russ has now admitted he was responsible, in a flurry of tweets between the pair. It all started when Adam22 sent out a tweet recalling a story from six months ago, when he was attacked by unknown assailants, which he only found out were sent by Russ when the rapper “bragged about it”. “Russ sent 3 big ass dudes to my store to jump me like 6 months ago. They waited around all day til I went to get a manicure and I was alone. Dude punched me once and ran. I didn’t even know who it was from until Russ bragged about it on AK’s stream. That ain’t tough @russdiemon.” He then claimed that Russ had been provoked by a single tweet, which put the question to Adam22’s followers, “what would you rather your child get into: Xanax or Russ” – Xanax won the vote. “Nahh it was cuz ALL your tweets aka a grown ass almost 40 year old man constantly talkin shit to someone who he’s never met or talked to, till now lol if you think there’s no consequences or reciprocation of energy for constantly spewing negativity towards someone them.” Russ then said he was tired of being the “punching bag of the rap game”, and that he eventually snapped – “everyone has a breaking point”. “I been the punching bag of the rap game for the past year & a half. I have more to lose than 99% of the industry who has talked shit bout me so I handle things accordingly. Nothing wrong with standing up 4 yourself when uve constantly been antagonized. Everyone has a breaking point” After continued back and forth, things seemed to calm down as Russ tweeted he’s “not with none of this negative shit”. “I’m really not with none of this negative shit. That was never the message I was about or am about. But everyone has a threshold and a breaking point. You can’t poke someone constantly and expect for them to night turn around and bite.” Russ has not responded to this accusation yet, and instead has gone back to using his Twitter to promote his newest music. It is unclear if Adam22 plans to take any further action, but one thing is for sure, Russ’ attack won’t stop him talking negatively about the rapper in the future.

Runescape streamer freaks out in front of family after losing $15K worth of gold – Dexerto
Runescape streamer freaks out in front of family after losing $15K worth of gold Twitch: VoldermartLiveAfter teleporting in the wrong world on Old School Runescape, a streamer lost $15,000 worth of in-game gold and completely freaked out in front of his family. Although, there is speculation that the entire scenario was staged. As with any MMORPG, players in Old School Runescape spend countless hours grinding and making money to buy all the best items in the game. However, unlike a lot of titles in the same genre, Runescape has specific areas and worlds where if a player is killed with their gold, all of it is dropped to the ground. These PvP locations are incredibly dangerous and avoided by the majority of players when they’re not prepared for a fight. Unfortunately, one Runescape streamer made the mistake of logging into a PvP world which resulted in him being killed for over 30 billion gold. Runescape streamer loses 30 billion gold, but was it fake? On August 26, VoldemartLive was streaming Old School Runescape to his viewers and interacting with his chat while his family sat in the background. Not realizing he was in a PvP world and with 30 billion gold in his inventory, the streamer teleported to the Duel Arena and was immediately attacked by another player. Unable to escape, VoldemartLive began to panic and even asked his viewers to come and save him. Unfortunately, it was too late for anyone to intervene and he was takedown by the opposing player. It was at this point that VoldemartLive began to shout and freak out about what had just happened in front of his wife and child. Smashing his headset and hitting his chair, it was obvious it had just set in that he’d lost $15,000 worth of in-game gold. Despite this, after the clip was posted to the LivestreamFail subreddit, not everyone was convinced by the streamer’s reaction and there’s a lot of speculation that the entire scenario was staged to ‘real-world trade’. Although it’s against the in-game rules, Old School Runescape gold can be exchanged for IRL money through third-party websites. With the value of 30 billion gold roughly being around $15,000, some players think this death on stream was a way of covering up the transfer. They argue that by dying to another player, it’s impossible to claim that the trade was deliberate. However, others disagree, claiming that performing the transfer on stream wouldn’t make sense as it would just draw attention to the act. Not only that, they argue VoldemartLive instantly attempts to teleport, and that accidentally holding that much gold while going to the Duel Arena is plausible. We’ll never know for sure whether the clip was staged or just a simple mistake on stream, but it’s certainly created a divide within the Old School Runescape community. Even if the money was real-world traded, it would be difficult to Jagex to track it back to VoldemartLive, as he could always argue that he’d just been killed by another player. Either way, this is just a reminder for all Runescape players to constantly check the world they’re currently in, or it could cost you everything you own in-game.

Rumble CEO would “love” to sign Joe Rogan when Spotify JRE contract expires – Dexerto
Rumble CEO would “love” to sign Joe Rogan when Spotify JRE contract expires JRE/RumbleJoe Rogan’s podcast could have a new home on Rumble once his Spotify contract is up – and the clock is ticking. Spotify broke the bank when they signed Joe Rogan to a lucrative exclusive contract reportedly worth at least $200 million. While rumors have suggested that Joe Rogan will become a free agent in 2024 once the deal is done, it may not take long for the JRE to find a new platform. In 2022, Rogan was in the midst of some controversy on Spotify, with the podcast host under fire for some of his guests spreading “misinformation” and allegedly making racist remarks. After over 70 episodes were pulled from Spotify and demands for the platform to drop Rogan intensified, Rumble’s Chris Pavlovski offered Joe $100M to switch to Rumble. Although Rogan shut down the offer and praised Spotify CEO Daniel Ek for supporting him amid the drama, which eventually blew over, Rumble isn’t giving up on signing JRE. In an exclusive interview with Dexerto, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski discussed the possibility of signing the Joe Rogan Experience and is ready to sit down to work with the UFC commentator. Rumble CEO says contract is “on the table” for Joe Rogan Experience “That $100M offer is still on the table,” Pavlovski told Dexerto. “He’s with Spotify exclusively, but we very much look forward to working with Joe Rogan in the future if he wishes. We would be interested in putting forth an offer when that time comes.” Pavlovski further noted that, while nothing is currently in the works, he reiterated that Rumble would pursue trying to convince the UFC commentator to join the platform. “If he ever wants to come to Rumble, we’re open to negotiating with him and putting forth an offer. I’m a big fan of Joe Rogan and I would love to have him on Rumble.” The details surrounding Rogan’s Spotify contract are a bit unclear at the moment. While his deal was reportedly scheduled to expire later this year, Spotify denied the claim and insisted that it wouldn’t end in 2023. The deal, said to be for three-and-a-half years included the “possibility of more,” so we’ll have to see what Rogan ultimately decides to do. In any case, it’s clear that Rumble isn’t finished with trying to recruit Joe. Readers will find out in more of our interview with Pavlovski that the platform has a lot of big things planned for the future. Stay tuned.

Runaway dog places third in dog show before returning home – Dexerto
Runaway dog places third in dog show before returning home Instagram: pooklingtonA family in the United Kingdom was stunned to find their dog had run away, just to return with an award from a local dog show. Few things are worse than the gut-sinking feeling that you’ve lost something — or better yet, someone. So when a family from Bolney, West Sussex realized that their beloved dog was missing, they frantically thought of all options to find her. Surprisingly enough, the pup was picked up on the side of the road and entered into a local dog show, only to return to the family with an award. Owners search for hours before finding their dog’s surprising whereabouts When Paula and Peter fed their 5-year-old Beagle named Bonnie, one of their worst fears came true. She had escaped from their home, leaving her family in disarray. Peter said he thought of all options as to where Bonnie could be as he and Paula searched their home before finding the outside gate had swung open. Bonnie’s owners searched for nearly three hours until Paul found a Facebook post regarding their precious four-legged friend. Turns out, Bonnie had been picked up from the side of the road by a man named John Wilmer. Wilmer, who was on his way to a dog show in Felbridge, Surrey, with his two pups, decided to enter Bonnie in the ‘Rescue Dog’ category of the show. To everyone’s surprise, Bonnie placed third! Though her owners were worried, having Bonnie back as a third-place winner was more than they could have asked for, as Peter said to The Argus, “We couldn’t believe it. You could not make it up. Bonnie was absolutely fine when she got back. She just thought she was having a great day out.” Wilmer, who swooped the escaped pup up to safety, reacted to Bonnie’s success, saying, “She was such a lovely dog, I thought it’d be good to enter her.” Wilmer continued, “I was in a bit of a rush to get there when we found Bonnie and put her in the car. I left a message on Facebook before taking her to the show. I was so pleased she did so well.” Though Peter and Paula have never entered Bonnie in a dog show, they said they just might pursue doing so after her award-winning escapade. Bonnie was also a street dog before being adopted by Peter and Paula, so they feared she wouldn’t know her way back home. However, luckily for all involved, Bonnie was ok, as Paula said she was “thrilled” that Bonnie was safe as well as a winner.
