Quin69 banned on Twitch again as star racks up fourth suspension in 2022 – Dexerto
Quin69 banned on Twitch again as star racks up fourth suspension in 2022 Twitch: Quin69Twitch streamer Quin69 has been banned once again on the platform, with the content creator now having mustered up four bans in 2022 alone. The star is yet to share the reasons for this particular suspension. Quin69 has built a reputation for his controversial Twitch streams. While the actual content he includes isn’t anything out of the ordinary, Quin’s comments and conversation is a big source of contention, and has landed him in hot water. Back in January 2022, Quin was hit with a 14-day suspension after making misogynistic comments about women “asking” to be sexually assaulted because of what they wear. His third ban for the year was given out on April 23 after he said he wanted to punch a “Karen” when streaming. This ban was once again for two weeks. Why was Quin69 banned for a fourth time in a year? In a Reddit thread addressing the ban, some users theorized the ban is a result of a comment Quin made during his recent stream which had racial connotations. This is not confirmed however. Given that it is Quin’s fourth ban in 2022, there is the potential that the streamer could be facing a more severe ban or even a permanent one if he continues to get banned at the same rate in the future. Quin himself posted on Twitter that he will keep his viewers updated when he finds out more about the ban and why his account has been suspended on the platform. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on why the ban was given out and how long Twitch plan on keeping Quin69’s channel suspended for.

Quin69 reveals bizarre reason he was banned on Twitch – Dexerto
Quin69 reveals bizarre reason he was banned on Twitch Twitter: QuinrexTwitch star Quin69 released a video explaining the strange reason he’s been banned on Twitch for the fourth time this year alone. On October 24, streamer Quin69 was banned from Twitch without any explanation given. The suspension was the broadcaster’s fourth ban of the year, and although each of his previous bans was just a week or less, this current ban could potentially be his longest yet with no end in sight. While there was no reason for the ban given at the time, Quin himself has come forward with an explanation as to why the platform disciplined him. Quin69 explains why he got banned on Twitch again With the crying filter enabled, Quin offered an apology to his viewership for being banned once again. Quin claimed that a few days prior to his ban he watched a “single video” that had something that is completely barred from being broadcasted. “The video, it had c*m in it. It was some dried c*m. And he also drank his own piss, and I showed it on stream. How was I to know you can’t show c*m? So yeah, I’m banned again.” Quin added that he’ll “try” to keep his audience updated as to when he will be able to begin broadcasting once again. He implored his audience to “stay safe out there,” “be better,” and “don’t show c*m on stream, guys. Don’t drink your own piss, there are kids watching for God’s sake!” Being his fourth suspension in just 10 months, Twitch may hand him a longer ban than usual for the offense.

Quen Blackwell slams Griffin Johnson over “weird” TikTok duet – Dexerto
Quen Blackwell slams Griffin Johnson over “weird” TikTok duet YouTube: Quen Blackwell, Griffin JohnsonInternet star Quen Blackwell had a brutal roast for TikToker Griffin Johnson, who appeared to poke fun at Blackwell for a video she’d made reacting to Bryce Hall and Addison Rae’s relationship. If that seemed like a lot of information at once, don’t worry: We’re about to break it down for you. Quen Blackwell — best known for her viral “hot pickle” videos during the days of Vine fame — has migrated to TikTok, where she has since picked up an impressive online following due to her hilarious content. It seems that Blackwell has some thoughts regarding the on-again, off-again status of Addison Rae and Bryce Hall’s relationship, after the two uploaded a video that used audio from “The Fault in Our Stars.” (Except, in this particular case, the “killing thing” was Hall’s bicep instead of a cigarette. Yeah, go figure.) Appearing to find the entire video quite cringy, Blackwell created her own response to the clip, where she huddled up in a ball on the floor, screaming “No!” — a reaction that caught the attention of fellow TikToker Griffin Johnson, who duetted the video in a now-private upload with nothing more than a befuddled expression. While Johnson’s video may be private, Blackwell put the upload on blast for all her followers, making sure to remind him of his own shortcomings (especially that moment when he made a diss track about his ex-girlfriend, Dixie D’Amelio). In fact, she even brought up the cheating scandal that lead up to their split in August, with D’Amelio claiming she had a whopping “48 screenshots” that held proof of his alleged infidelity. “I mean, you did make a diss track about your ex-girlfriend — who has moved on — that you cheated on,” Blackwell said in her video response. “And I’m the weird one? Priorities! Priorities, Griffy!” It seems that her video has been met with general acclaim from commenters, with many noting that Griffin has since taken down his video reacting to Blackwell’s TikTok duet in an apparent show of defeat. Griffin has since Tweeted about the situation after a few now-deleted back-and-forth with Quen over TikTok, appearing to defend Addison and Bryce. im just gonna drop it.. really wasn’t that deep to begin with, just annoying. anyone that could continue to make videos after seeing the comment sections is disgusting. we’re all human & nobody deserves that. — Griffin Johnson (@lmgriffjohnson) November 16, 2020 “I’m just gonna drop it,” he wrote. “Really wasn’t that deep to begin with, just annoying. Anyone that could continue to make videos after seeing the comment sections is disgusting. We’re all human & nobody deserves that.” Addison Rae may have also commented on the situation, according to two pointed Tweets made after all the drama went down. “Why are people so mean to people they don’t actually know?” she posted. “I can’t believe being hateful has become normalized.” why are people so mean to people they don’t actually know — Addison Rae (@whoisaddison) November 16, 2020 No matter your stance on Griffin’s history with Dixie, you have to admit — Quen Blackwell was taking no prisoners, resulting in an eyebrow-raising interaction between two of TikTok’s biggest stars.

Diplo, 41, is an American DJ known for tracks like “Be Right There” and is also a founding member of electronic supergroup Major Lazer. TikTokers were left bemused by the surprising news and demanded to know more detail. Thousands of fans commented on Quenlin’s videos with Diplo, mostly reflecting a mix of amusement and shock, writing “This is the oddest duo but like I’m not mad,” and “I’m sorry I’m having a hard time processing this.” Quenlin began a series documenting her living situation with one of the world’s biggest musicians, after the strong reaction from her followers and has so far filmed Diplo struggling to tie his shoelaces, bopping to music in the car, and behind the scenes at a live-stream concert for Major Lazer’s new album launch. However, speculation about the pair has clearly gone too far for Quenlin who was forced to address rumors on her Twitter. She wrote: “I’m an adult. I’m not being groomed. Platonic relationships exist. I’ve been living here for over a year. I’d rather break both of my legs and be forced to walk than pursue Diplo romantically and he’d rather choke. “He’s barely in LA because he’s so busy. Diplo has given me the opportunity and the security to create. Diplo and his team are my mentors in LA and they are my safety net. “Diplo and his team have saved me numerous times from the weirdos in LA. My parents trust him. I trust him. Y’all are making me feel icky. Diplo is my LA dad…nothing more.” Diplo also responded to the situation on Twitter and wrote: “Ok so I rent one of my properties to Quen Blackwell and yes I use the studio that is in that building. “Her social media is sarcastic and chaotic and I can see you can get a twisted idea but there is nothing but a friendship between us.” OK so I rent one of my properties to @quenblackwell. Did Bobby Berk & Tan France have a falling out? Queer Eye feud explained – Dexerto
Did Bobby Berk & Tan France have a falling out? Queer Eye feud explained NetflixQueer Eye star Bobby Berk announced his exit from the show in November, but a recent series of happenings had fans speculating if Bobby left because of a conflict with his co-stars. Here is everything we know about the situation. Queer Eye Season 8 announcement had all the fans excited until show host Bobby Berk dropped the bomb that this season would be his last. This meant that the Fab Five would say goodbye to their beloved member at the end of Season 8. Bobby opened up to his fans in an Instagram post and expressed that after years of being on the show the reason for his exit was because he wanted his career to progress in a different path. However, fans of the show started to dig further and speculated if there was more to the story. They are convinced that there might be a feud happening within the Fab Five and they gathered to post their receipts. Queer Eye fans think Bobby left for a different reason The fans of the franchise took to Reddit to discuss their thoughts. A Redditor started the thread by pointing out the fact that Bobby again did not tag one of the Fab Five on his recent Instagram post. The fan commented: “I know about a month ago we saw Bobby unfollow Antoni and Tan. It seems he refollowed Antoni but not Tan. And Tan has now unfollowed Bobby. And check out who wasn’t tagged in his latest post. It saddens me to this to be honest.” The majority of fans on the thread agreed with the speculation and another wrote, “I want to know the tea so bad.” Some people brought up the point that whatever the conflict might be it couldn’t be anything related to Queer Eye as the format of the show supported belonging and comfort. However, others pointed out that their conflict might have to do with popularity and pay. One fan wrote, “Is there a disparity in pay? There could also be resentment due to one cast member becoming more popular than the rest, getting better gigs outside of QE, workplace culture, etc. It could also be personal like you said. I’m guessing it’s a mix of both.” One person on the thread tried to remind Redditors that the reason Tan wasn’t tagged might have to do with the fact that Tan didn’t follow Bobby on Instagram. They wrote, “Tan’s Instagram settings don’t allow tags from people he doesn’t follow.” However, the Reddit post was made on January 2 and after the news exploded, Bobby Berk took action. Bobby later tagged Tan’s unofficial account @Shaded on the Instagram post he made. Queer Eye Bobby Berk likes Instagram comment shading Tan France The plot thickened as Bobby stirred more buzz on social media. On Reddit, a Queer Eye fan posted a screenshot of Bobby liking a comment that said, “If Bobby is not cool with Tan then I’m not cool with Tan.” Fans speculated if there was real drama going on between the cast members or if the whole thing was a publicity stunt for the upcoming Season 8. Fans expressed that they were heartbroken to see their favorite wholesome reality stars in a petty fight. A viewer said, “Unless the truth comes out and Tan did something really awful, this all feels like middle-school drama. Bobby doesn’t need to be so blatant with the fact that he’s cutting Tan out then it just seems messy and that he’s spotlighting the fact he doesn’t like him.” Many expressed that they were uncomfortable with Bobby’s behavior on social media. Yet another fan gave their opinion and said, “Huh. I know this sub is largely pro-Bobby but he’s acting pretty shady during all this, it’s giving me weird vibes. Maybe Tan is literally a garbage person who bullied Bobby, in which case I take it back, but it feels like Bobby is looking for a reaction at the moment and I’m not really sure how to interpret it.” Bobby Berk publicly addressed Tan France feud On January 25, Bobby spoke with Vanity Fair and admitted that there has in fact been some beef between him and Tan. While he didn’t specifically reveal the cause of their drama, he did open up to unfollowing his co-star on social media. “ ‘Should I have unfollowed Tan? No. Maybe I should have just muted him. But that day, I was angry, and that’s the end of it,” he told the outlet. The reality TV star also told VF that he remains hopeful that the two of them can repair their friendship. “I can foresee in six months or a year, Tan and I at each other’s house being good.”

Queer Eye Season 8 star accused of not being qualified for his role on the show – Dexerto
Queer Eye Season 8 star accused of not being qualified for his role on the show NetflixAnother Queer Eye star has found himself facing fans’ wrath – here is everything you need to know about the ‘Karamo controversy’. The wholesome feel-good Netflix reality show became the target of several allegations even before the release of Season 8. Fans blamed the production team for Fab Five’s fall and later a Season 8 star publicly accused the team of mismanagement. Now, Queer Eye star Karamo Brown’s alleged problematic past resurfaced as fans dished on Bobby Berk and Tan France’s apparent falling out. After the ‘Pink Sauce Lady interview’, fans felt Karamo was very unintuitive and superficial. Things got messier when a TikTok user made several accusations towards an unnamed Fab Five member, who have fans deduced to be Karamo. Fans slam Karamo Brown for being problematic Outside of Queer Eye, Karamo hosts a talk show named ‘Karamo Show’. Things went downhill for Karamo’s media image during the ‘Pink sauce lady interview’. The interview was held with the viral pink sauce creator, Veronica Shaw, and food critic, Ally, who called out the sauce creator over health and safety concerns. Many viewers didn’t like the way Karamo chose to side with Veronica during the interview, as they believed Ally was in the right. One viewer said, “He framed it as a white woman attacking a woman of color. Numerous black women gave Chef Pi a bad review, yet he cherry-picked a lesser-known one who was white to place in front of a black audience. He said, ‘We have to support women of color in business.’ “He made it an issue of race and gender when it was just public safety. It was manipulative, deliberate, and gross. Racism and sexism are serious issues and he wrongly involved them for his own devices. It angers me so much.” Viewers on Reddit called out Karamo for “gaslighting” Ally and dismissing her legitimate concerns. A user on Reddit said: “I was shocked when the girl wisely said smth like ‘we both can learn some lessons from this’ and he quipped ‘mainly it’s you who needs to learn.’ Like, she was trying to end the discussion with grace and he wouldn’t have it.” What is the Queer Eye ‘Karamo controversy’? In December 2023, a TikTok user uploaded a video claiming that he was friends with a person who dated one of the Fab Fives. He then went on to spill the tea on some behind-the-scenes stories. He wasn’t surprised by Bobby Berk’s exit from Queer Eye after all the cast drama he had heard from his friend. He went on to make serious allegations of drug parties, orgies, sexual harassment on set, and a possible threesome with Andy Cohen. From the clues he gave, fans deduced that the Fab Five member was Karamo. There were no comments from the Queer Eye production team or the cast members on these rumors. Currently, all eight seasons of the show are available to stream on Netflix, and the next season is scheduled to air in the second half of 2024.

“Queen” of NPC streams reveals why she started TikTok trend – Dexerto
“Queen” of NPC streams reveals why she started TikTok trend natuecoco/InstagramJapanese content creator Natuecoco is said to be the first ever NPC streamer as she’s been doing NPC content for over a year and a half. But how did she think of the idea? Here’s everything you need to know. In July 2023, a video of TikToker pinkydoll broke Twitter as she was seen regurgitating phrases like “ice cream so good” and “got me feelin’ like a cowgirl” which stirred a frenzy of questions. Answers came soon after when the wider internet was introduced to the formerly niche TikTok trend of NPC streaming and its associated fetish. TikTok users with control kinks were paying pinkydoll and other NPC streamers monetary tokens to behave like living dolls. Since then, more and more people have started to make their own NPC content and join in with the streams, especially after fellow NPC streamer Nerdywinter revealed the mouthwatering paycheck she received for her first-ever NPC broadcast. But how did the trend start? And who came up with the bizarre idea? Who was the first NPC streamer on TikTok? Japanese streamer Natuecoco, whose real name is Natsue Coco, is said to be the original NPC streamer on TikTok after going viral in 2021 for her NPC videos with fellow TikToker Satoyu727. Natuecoco started her online career on Twitch and Instagram in 2019, with the majority of her content revolving around her cosplays. In February 2022, Natsue Coco retired from Twitch and shifted her streaming focus to TikTok Live She began livestreaming on TikTok in October 2021 and soon grew a large following, and now has over 1.5 million followers and 7.1 million likes across her videos. On February 4th, 2022, Satoyu0704, also known as the Ohio Final Boss, posted a video that showed a screen recording of a collab Live between him and Natuecoco in which they pretended to be NPCs and battled for prizes. As her NPC videos quickly grew popular, she started doing livestreams while in her NPC character, which is how the trend grew more popular. Natuecoco reveals reason why she started NPC streams In a recent video, Natuecoco revealed her reason for continuing her NPC content and streams. She revealed her NPC livestreaming is an ongoing experiment of figuring out what makes people tick. “I wanted to stimulate the audience and see what reactions they would have to the different motions I performed,” Natuecoco told Insider via a translator. “So I created different motions and built a bridge of communication through the audience’s reactions.” She began experimenting with different movements and phrases to see how her audience responded to them. What struck Natuecoco was how people had completely different interpretations of the same action. “In one of my earlier streams, I noticed a lot of people in the audience started coming up with really weird ideas about what I could be. One person said I was a bot sent by a foreign government to spy on them,” Natuecoco told Insider. “I became so intrigued by how people could come up with such ridiculous ideas.” The TikToker is aware that her videos make some people baffled or uneasy — and that’s the point. “It’s important to always leave some curiosity because the audience can figure it out for themselves,” she said. “They become more invested when they try to figure out what this all means. It’s a way to build that connection.”

QuarterJade, Sydeon, Masayoshi join OfflineTV in first expansion since 2019 YouTube: OfflineTVOfflineTV has announced their first major expansion since their 2019 signing of Michael Reeves by bringing three new streamers onboard: QuarterJade, Sydeon, and Masayoshi. The trio have more than 1 million Twitch followers combined. Popular OfflineTV “friends” QuarterJade, Sydeon, and Masayoshi have formally been added to the stream team. The trio were announced on November 19 in a YouTube video involving the whole group — as well as some friends. Twitch stars like Hikaru ‘GMHikaru’ Nakamura and ‘QTCinderella’ made cameo appearances in the group’s “tryouts”, and so too former League of Legends pro Yiliang ‘DoubleLift’ Peng. The video even made fun of QuarterJade and Masayoshi’s relationship — the two have been dating since 2019, and are now joining the group together. QuarterJade is the biggest of the three, with nearly 750,000 Twitch followers. She is known for her League of Legends and Valorant streams, having shot up in popularity since her 2017 debut. Sydeon is a popular streamer and cosplayer with 250,000 Twitch followers. One of the rising stars of the platform in 2021, she plays plenty of variety games and has been an avid participant in OfflineTV’s Among Us and Rust streams in the past. Masayoshi has more than 450,000 Twitch followers — once almost exclusively a League of Legend streamer, he’s broadened his horizons into Valorant and plenty of other titles. Whether the trio will move into the OTV house though remains to be seen. The group’s three signings mark OfflineTV’s first major expansion since 2019, when they added Michael Reeves. The group has been embroiled in some controversy since. Former member FedMyster was kicked over sexual misconduct allegations in 2020, and LilyPichu’s former partner Albert ‘sleightlymusical’ Chan stepped down after accusations of cheating. However, the group is continuing on their rise with the new additions, and are now primed to make a big splash in 2022 and far beyond.

QTCinderella unveils new Twitch cooking series Master Baker Anthony PadillaTwitch star QTCinderalla has unveiled her new show Master Baker, putting seven streamers through a seven-day cooking competition. The streaming industry continues to revolutionize, with more and more of our favorite creators taking on bigger projects and putting together studio-based shows. Recently, we’ve seen the likes of Ludwig start his own creative agency, Offbrand, which helps creators put together events and shows — and even produced his popular Mogul Chessboxing Championship earlier in December. Similarly, we’ve also seen xQc launch his own Nickelodeon-inspired show ‘Juiced’ — also produced by Ludwig’s Offbrand agency — which was an absolute hit with fans. Now, like many of her streaming peers, QTCinderella has unveiled her own project — a cooking competition spanning seven days that will air on Twitch. QTCinderealla reveals new show In a recent December 26 interview with Anthony Padilla, the 28-year-old streamer unveiled her new cooking show. “I am doing the Master Baker,” she said. “Innuendo intended, it is my series on Twitch that I’m doing.” Putting seven streamers through a seven-day competition, their skills will be put to the test as they attempt to memorize a recipe that they’ll have to bake just 24 hours later. “It’s going to be a seven-day competition with seven streamers. They’re going to receive a category of like a baked good — so brownies — 24 hours in advance, they have to learn that, then they have to show up, make it with no recipe.” She added: “Someone gets eliminated each day.” (Timestamp at 29:55) A lot of details on the new show were kept under wraps. Though, the popular streamer did tease fans that there will be a special finale for the series — which was censored out of the video. It’s unclear when we’ll see the first episode of Master Baker, but fans are sure excited.

There was an outpouring of anger towards Twitch streamer Atrioc after he accidentally revealed that he was subscribed to a website that hosted faked AI images. The website included explicit photos of several fellow streamers. Atrioc gave a tearful apology on stream afterward the situation was revealed, saying: “It’s gross and I’m sorry. It’s so embarrassing.” However, the streamers who were victims of these deepfakes have begun to express their anger at this predatory practice now that they have discovered it exists. Pokimane, QTCinderella, & Sweet Anita slam deepfakes One of the biggest and most influential streamers on Twitch, QTCinderella, expressed her outrage at those who were sharing the explicit images and the website that hosted them. “Everybody f*cking stop. Stop spreading it. Stop advertising it.” She also gave her perspective on how this violation feels, saying “[b]eing seen ‘naked’ against your will should NOT BE A PART OF THIS JOB.” Fellow streamer Sweet Anita expanded on these feelings, saying that the creator of this content “solicits my body without my consent… Don’t know whether to cry, break stuff, or laugh.” The most-followed female streamer on Twitch, Pokimane, also spoke out on the situation a day later in a succinct tweet asking people to “stop sexualizing people without their consent.” BrookeAB hit back at the “awful takes” she’s seen about the ongoing issue on social media, as well. “We are real humans with real lives that are affected by situations like these,” she said. “it goes much further than ‘it’s not real,’ please have some compassion and think beyond it not affecting you in any way.” Other prominent streamers expressed their agreement with these perspectives and offered their support to these two, as well as other broadcasters who had been similarly exploited. I’m going to f*cking sue you. I promise you. With every part of my soul, I’m going to sue you.” (Topic begins at 2:55) According to the MIT Technology Review, in the United States, 46 states have laws against the sharing of sexually explicit images or videos of someone without their consent, commonly known as “revenge porn.” However, only two of these states – California and Virginia – have laws in place that also prohibit the sharing of faked or deepfaked images. QTCinderella slams Twitch viewers for creating fake beef between streamers – Dexerto
QTCinderella slams Twitch viewers for creating fake beef between streamers YouTube: QTCinderellaTwitch streamer QTCinderella has slammed viewers for constantly creating false feuds between content creators. Popular Twitch and YouTube streamers have often found it hard to keep their lives and relationships with different people private due to their constant public persona and passionate fanbases. Many creators, such as Pokimane and Valkyrae, have previously spoken out about their “parasocial” fans for making false assumptions and sending harmful messages. During an interview with Polygon, QTCinderella also criticized fans for stirring up false feuds between streamers. Everyone decides to make their own narratives,” QTCinderella stated. “Oh, I thought so-and-so hated so-and-so but then they’re at lunch together the day after the streamer awards. No, they didn’t. You guys made that up like that never existed,” she further commented. Her comments were made in relation to her Gala for Good charity event, which brought together some of Twitch’s biggest streamers in the same room and raised over $250,000 for rainforest charities. Aside from the significant funds raised, she pointed out: “It reestablishes relationships. I think that’s so important in this industry when people are very often pitted against each other.”

On January 30, Atrioc issued a tearful apology after he was caught paying for deepfakes of female streamers, including the likes of Pokimane and QTCinderella. Some of the affected female creators began speaking up about it on Twitter, including QTCinderella, who alongside boyfriend and YouTube star Ludwig have been friends with Atrioc for a while. However, QTCinderella has now revealed the status of their friendship during a recent episode of the Fear& podcast with Hasan, WillNeff, and Mike Majlak. QTCinderella shares Atrioc friendship status During the episode, QTCindella brought up the topic while the group ate their dinner together. Originally intended to be exclusive to the Fear& Patreon, Hasan and Will didn’t want to ignore important topics in the public upload. “I am a woman a part of it and I am more than happy to talk about it, and it sucks. The issue was that Atrioc was a best friend of ours,” QT said. WillNeff mentioned that she put her comment in the past tense, so the Twitch streamer elaborated. “I did. I put that in the past tense because the damage is irreparable,” QT added. (Topic starts at 1:12:16 in the video) Atrioc has stepped away from the internet as well as his duties within OFFBRAND, Ludwig’s creative agency which he helped co-found. As a part of the contract, QT will take advantage of Misfits’ newly launched $20M Creator Fund to help grow her existing events as well as plan any new ideas she might think of. In a statement, QTCinderella said: “Any creator will tell you that once things start to click, this ride can really turn into a rocket ship. So many opportunities start not only accelerating toward you, but you now find yourself in a position to be more proactive in building a bigger vision for what you aim to create and accomplish. “It can become a constant struggle to juggle what you’re currently doing that has started to build a following, while continuing to expand your capacity to execute on other interesting projects, so something like the Misfits Creator Fund becomes an interesting set of resources that can help provide creators with the tools and the team to more easily bring these ideas to life.” This comes just two days after she revealed her departure from TSM, where she mentioned in a Reddit post that “no one cared” about The Streamer Awards when she told her team. QTCinderella reveals she’s spent nearly $1m on 2023 Streamer Awards already – Dexerto
QTCinderella reveals she’s spent nearly $1m on 2023 Streamer Awards already Twitch: QTCinderellaTwitch star QTCinderella has revealed that she’s spent close to $1 million on the 2023 Streamer Awards, more than triple what she spent in 2022. Over the last few years, streamers and content creators have had their accomplishments celebrated in a few different award shows. Though, there has regularly been controversy over the nominees and winners for those. The Streamer Awards, which was started by QTCinderella, does things a little differently. Instead of just one category celebrating streamers, her event digs into a whole host of categories including the likes of best FPS streamer, best rising star, and even the best MMO streamer. The nominees for this year’s event, which is set to be held on March 11, have already been revealed, and fans still have time to vote for their favorites. QTCinderella reveals cost of putting on 2023 Streamer Awards Putting on the event is no easy feat, though, as QT has revealed that she’s already spent triple what she spent for the 2022 installment. The Twitch star was streaming alongside Maya Higa, who co-hosted the 2022 show, when they joked about completing tasks from Twitch’s bounty board to recoup some of the money QT has spent on this year’s show. “Do they know how much you’re spending on it?” Maya asked. “I might have told them,” QT answered before revealing the actual figure. “Guys, it’s more (than 300k). I’m at 900k.” Timestamp of 14:18 QT even joked that she may have to take a sponsorship from Kick – the new platform trying to rival Twitch – to help with the cost after she and Maya realized just how deep into things she was. Like other award shows, fans do have the opportunity to attend as they are selling tickets, though unlike some other shows, fans and streamers won’t mingle as they have separate sections for each other in the building.

QTCinderella reveals why she chose Valkyrae as co-host for The Streamer Awards YouTube: Anthony Padilla / Instagram: valkyraeTwitch star QTCinderella revealed why she chose Valkyrae as her co-host for the 2023 Streamer Awards — but this star-studded pairing almost didn’t happen. The Streamer Awards are well on their way as the clock ticks down to Saturday, March 11. The Awards, organized by Twitch streamer QTCinderella, recognize the best and brightest online entertainers and content creators by votes from both the community and a hand-picked panel of industry professionals. This year, QT will be hosting The Streamer Awards alongside YouTube star Valkyrae — but this dynamic duo almost didn’t happen. QT reveals text with Valkyrae that prompted co-host casting In an exclusive interview with Dexerto, QT revealed the humorous story of how she chose Valkyrae to be her co-host for this year’s Awards — and it was all thanks to a phone call and a little courage. “I wanted [my co-host] to be a woman,” QT explained. “It’s very, very important to me that this is a woman-run show. In this industry, specifically, it’s just so important.” “I had a lot of names on the drawing board. It was funny, I was actually on the phone with — I wanna say AustinShow? And Valkyrae happened to be in the room. Rae was someone on my list, but I was just too nervous to ask her. I hadn’t asked her directly.” “I’m on the phone with Austin like, ‘I’m looking for a co-host.’ And Austin’s like, ‘I’ll do it!’ And I’m like, ‘No, I want it to be a woman.’ And then Rae texted me, she’s like, “Hey, I don’t know if you would ever consider me,” but I was like, “Oh my gosh!” It worked out perfectly.” As for the red carpet, QT says she chooses streamers she thinks are both humorous and good at getting folks to have fun before the big event. This year, Hasan, Ludwig, Sweet Anita, and Squeex will be conducting interviews with the nominees, making for one heck of a show. Fans can tune into the event Saturday, March 11 on QT’s official Twitch channel.

QTCinderella reveals reason behind creating The Streamer Awards – Dexerto
QTCinderella reveals reason behind creating The Streamer Awards YouTube: QTCinderellaPopular Twitch streamer QTCinderella revealed why she decided to create The Streamer Awards, explaining she wanted to recognize creators who’ve contributed to the space — some for the first time. In early 2022, QTCinderella revealed that Maya Higa and herself decided to organize their own awards show dubbed: The Streamer Awards. After weeks of nominations and voting, the record-breaking event took place on March 12, 2022, broadcasted live on QT’s own Twitch channel with 300,000 people watching. The Twitch star recorded a behind-the-scenes vlog during the event, which was uploaded to her YouTube channel on April 5. In the video, QT revealed why she created such an event — and mentioned a creator that she believes deserves to be recognized. QTCinderella reveals why she created the Streamer Awards Showing off the intense amount of work QTCinderella did to prepare for the event, the person behind the camera asked the star why she was so hands-on with setting up the event. “It’s because streaming is really hard to fill a purpose in life… but my favorite thing that happens to me is when people invite me to things but it hardly happens,” she explained. “It started with s**tcamp, but I can only have 20 people come to s**tcamp, so I thought of this. “It’s a fun way to get 250 streamers in one room and recognize people who have never been recognized, like Asmongold… He’s been in the industry so long and has never won an award, it’s crazy.” (Topic starts at 1:09 in the video) The video went on to show a variety of different tasks, including QT teaming up with Maya Higa to hand-bag Cheerios and crayons that they later passed out to streamers as a joke “because they can’t sit still for long periods of time.” Towards the end of the video, QT said that they identified a few issues to improve on for next year’s event. If you missed the broadcast, you can check out who won awards here.

QTCinderella reveals she was bullied before blowing up on Twitch – Dexerto
QTCinderella reveals she was bullied before blowing up on Twitch Instagram: QTCinderellaTwitch star and Streamer Awards organizer QTCinderella opened up on her life before rising to internet fame, claiming she was “super bullied” in school. QTCinderella broke records with the Streamer Awards this past March. Bringing together some of the biggest and brightest stars on the platform, QT’s event peaked at a whopping 380,000 concurrent viewers and even broke into the top five trends on Twitter. The mind behind the streamer-organized, streamer-centric award show made huge waves in the space and already has plans on improving next year’s event… but a look back from the shining mountaintop of success shows a difficult past for the content creator. QTCinderella says she was “super bullied” in high school In an April 12 interview with InvenGlobal, a month after The Streamer Awards took over social media, QT reflected on her childhood before discovering Twitch. Read More: Valkyrae admits she regrets RFLCT drama – According to the streamer, she was the target of extreme bullying in high school before finding her niche on Twitch with other individuals who also felt cast out. “I was super bullied in high school,” she admitted. “I didn’t necessarily fit in. And so, the cool thing about the streaming industry is it’s a bunch of people that didn’t fit in.” “A lot of streamers have the same background as me. And so I’m on my island of misfit toys, but now I am the one with the ability to want to bring people together.” QT’s difficult past has informed her goals for the future, as she said in the interview she ultimately wants “to help people that feel alone” through her work on Twitch. This latest interview comes after Cinderella opened up on her reason for starting the Streamer Awards in the first place, where she claimed that it was “a fun way to get 250 streamers in one room and recognize people who have never been recognized.” It looks like QT’s mission became a smashing success — one that fans hope she organizes again in the future.

QTCinderella releases merch mocking xQc’s non-appearance at Shitcamp Twitch: QTCinderella / Twitch: xQcStreamer event Shitcamp is going on — but without Twitch’s biggest name in Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel. Organizer QTCinderella is leaning into the star’s comments though, releasing a t-shirt with the words “I’m not going” echoing Lengyel’s, and fans are loving the shade. Shitcamp — a multi-day camp with the who’s who of Twitch and YouTube showing up to have crazy collaborations and partake in some shenanigans — has finally kicked off. During the initial marketing stages, xQc was slated to partake in the event. He was even in the trailer for the event. But the Twitch streamer changed his mind days before the event. The show will go on without Lengyel, but he’ll be there somewhat in spirit. In response to xQc’s entry withdrawal, streamer and organizer QTCinderella “made one more item for the merch shop.” The t-shirt is literally a plain black shirt which states “I’m not going.” It can be found on the official Shitcamp merchandise site, setting fans back $30 if they wish to don the juicer’s statement on his attendance. It’s not just xQc not attending. Other streamers like Pokelawls pulled out at the last minute. While the merch is a tongue-in-cheek reference to those not there, QTCinderella still wants fans to enjoy the presence of those who made it. “There has obviously been some last minute changes to the roster and I’ll need to update the schedule,” she said on Twitter. “Please focus on the people coming and the fun it’s going to be rather than those that can’t make it.” The event started on September 5 and goes until September 8. You can view all the event details on the Shitcamp website, including all the random activities from fishing, archery, and other pastimes.

QTCinderella reveals how much money it cost to run Shitcamp 2022 – Dexerto
QTCinderella reveals how much money it cost to run Shitcamp 2022 YouTube: TMG StudiosPopular Twitch streamer QTCinderella has revealed the extremely high amount of money that was spent on Shitcamp 2022. Over the last couple of years, QTCinderella has gained mass popularity in the streaming industry thanks to the high-quality events she has organized. Some of her events include The Streamer Awards, a Beyblade Tournament, and most recently — Shitcamp 2022. During an interview with Cody Ko and Noel Miller, QT gave fans a tease of how much it costs to put together these high-production events — and the insane amount of money that was spent on this years Shitcamp. QTCinderella reveals how much money was spent on Shitcamp 2022 For this years event, each of the streamers at Shitcamp are able to stay in their own cabins as QT rented an entire campground that comes fitted with lakes, ziplines, and more things that the group can do. During the September 7 episode of the TMG Podcast, Cody Ko asked the Twitch star if she could reveal how much it cost to put together this years Shitcamp. “The camp itsself cost about $170,000 [to rent for the event],” QT explained. “I like to be as transparent as possible about it. This is way better than last years.” (Topic starts at 14:34 in the video) Luckily for QTCinderella, however, it appears that her hard work with past events have begun to pay off after paying for past events out of her own pocket. She explained that a sponsor saw the hype around Shitcamp 2021, and offered to pay for the entire event this year — allowing her to provide a higher quality experience to everyone involved. QT hasn’t hinted at another event coming after Shitcamp quite yet, but we do know that she intends on continuing The Streamer Awards for 2022.

QTCinderella promises to sue creator of deepfake website – Dexerto
QTCinderella promises to sue creator of deepfake website YouTube: AnthonyPadillaTwitch streamer QTCinderella has promised to sue the website owner and creator of deepfake content that features the likeness of female creators. On January 30, 2022, Twitch streamer Atrioc was exposed for looking at a website featuring graphic deepfake images of female creators, after his browser tabs popped up during his stream. He gave a tearful apology just hours later, but it wasn’t long until the affected female creators began to speak up. QTCinderella is one of the women targeted by the website and has since promised to sue the creator. QTCinderella plans to sue deepfake website Just hours after Atrioc’s apology, QTCinderella went live on her Twitch channel to address on the situation. “I’m sure everyone in the world would tell me not to go live right now…but, I wanted to go live because this is what pain looks like,” she said. “To the person that made that website, I’m going to f**king sue you. I promise you, with every part of my soul I’m going to f**king sue you. That’s all I have to say.” According to the MIT Technology Review, in the United States, 46 states have laws against the sharing of sexually explicit images or videos of someone without their consent. However, only two of these states – California and Virginia – have laws in place that also prohibit the sharing of faked or deepfaked images. QTCinderella quits LoL mid-match after rat attacks her on Twitch stream – Dexerto
QTCinderella quits LoL mid-match after rat attacks her on Twitch stream Twitch/qtcinderellaTwitch streamer QTCinderella absolutely freaked out after a rat attacked her during a League of Legends match, ultimately stopping her from competing in the game. During a March 24 broadcast, the streamer was competing in some LoL games to grind the ladder when she began screaming uncontrollably at the top of her lungs. Seemingly out of nowhere, the streamer startled her viewers as well as fellow broadcaster Ludwig, who was over in another room, by crying out about she had been apparently attacked by a rat. QTCinderella’s viewers were clearly stunned (and somewhat amused) by her sudden antics, spamming ‘monkaW’ and other Twitch specific emojis in the chat. “There’s a rat in here!” she screamed. “Oh my God! SOS! S O motherf***ing S!” Read More: Most controversial YouTuber apologies – Soon thereafter, the streamer hopped on her phone and seemed to be alerting Ludwig, who was in another room in the middle of a Valorant match for his massive subathon. “Somebody in this house, I’m begging you!” she cried for help. “I hear it moving, I’m so afraid.” This continued for a few minutes, with QTCinderella standing on top of her chair, keeping an eye out on any signs of the rat menace. According to the Twitch star, she originally thought the rat was her cat, and when she went to pet it with her feet, she discovered it was a rat. Eventually, Ludwig came to the rescue and planned to either leave the rat in the closet so it will eventually die, call an exterminator, or even bring out his cat to take care of business. While all this was going on, QTCinderella was AFK, making the LoL game near impossible to win. In the end, the two decided to just end the stream. “Do not lose this game for us!” Ludwig demanded his roommate’s teammate. “Chat, I’m going to end this stream for her and she will be back later. Goodbye.” QTCinderella wasn’t the only streamer on March 24 to be shocked by a creature during a broadcast. As Dexerto reported, Korean streamer ‘heehee’ literally fell out of her chair and crashed to the floor after her lobster meal seemed to come back from the dead. So far, QTCinderella has not returned to Twitch since the rat incident, and it’s unclear if the creature still poses a threat for the LoL streamer.

QTCinderella & Maya Higa’s Gala for Good raises $250k for Rainforest charities – Dexerto
QTCinderella & Maya Higa’s Gala for Good raises $250k for Rainforest charities Instagram: maya_higaQTCinderella and Maya Higa’s Gala for Good ended up raising around $250,000 for charities benefitting the Rainforest and conservation efforts. Twitch star QTCinderella continues to create outstanding events for her fellow streamers and viewers alike, this time bringing together a slew of top-tier creators for a charity auction over the weekend of September 30. Together, she and Maya Higa — known for founding her own animal sanctuary, Alveus — created an event called the ‘Gala for Good,’ where streamers attended in their finest Rainforest-inspired clothing. Together, the streamers auctioned off some of their most prized items. These items included, but were certainly not limited to: Jarvis Johnson’s boxing gloves, Peter Park’s body pillow of Scarra, and… Alinity’s sweaty booty shorts. That’s not all; the streamers could also bid for a date with certain creators, with Alinity notably scoring a date with Stranger Things star and Twitch streamer Grace Van Dien. The event was also sponsored by none other than Marvel Snap, featuring a hilarious advertisement starring none other than Ludwig. Gala for Good raises $250k for Rainforest charities Combined with fan donations, the Gala for Good ended up raising a reported total of around $250,000 for five different Rainforest charities: The Rainforest Foundation, Amazon Watch, the World Wildlife Fund, the US Rainforest Trust, and the Rainforest Alliance. QTCinderella thanked her fans in an emotional stream on October 2, exclaiming how grateful she was for both the participating streamers and the viewers in chat who donated their time and money to take part in the Gala. “I’m so grateful for all the time people donated, I’m so grateful for all the items,” she said. “I’m grateful for you guys with your money. I’m grateful for you guys in the chat the whole time. I just can’t say that enough.” QT’s charity auction is just the latest major Twitch charity event to go viral online following CDawgVA’s charity auction earlier this year, which saw the streamer raise $329,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation and $14,000 for Make-A-Wish America.

QTCinderella claims it’s “only a matter of time” until she quits streaming – Dexerto
QTCinderella claims it’s “only a matter of time” until she quits streaming YouTube: Anthony PadillaQTCinderella has lit up the streaming world over the last couple of years, exploding in popularity in 2022 through her various collaborations and the Streamer Awards. But the star admits it’s “only a matter of time” until she quits due to the mental toll of streaming, opening up about her PTSD from numerous swatting attacks. Through 2022, QTCinderella has become a household name in streaming. Once just a guest on the Rajj Patel Show, she has become a sensation in her own right, and pushed to give all streamers better recognition in the space. Whether it be through innovative content alongside her partner Ludwig Ahgren, or her massive Streamer Awards production, QTCinderella has pushed the boundaries of streaming. However her rise has come at a great mental cost too. The star has opened up to Anthony Padilla about the stresses of streaming leading her to the “darkest time” of her life, and how she never sees it as a full-time, life-long career. “It’s only a matter of time before I quit because I’ve lost my mind,” she said on the December 26 video. “My therapist even said ‘I have never seen an industry more trauma-inducing than this one.’ We’ve been swatted, and I’ve had some pretty traumatic things happen in my life. Luckily I hadn’t developed any sort of PTSD, but I have diagnosed PTSD from us getting swatted.” QTCinderella and Ludwig have been swatted numerous times across the last 18 months, including during the star’s iconic 30-day subathon on Twitch. While she has had to deal with a number of life-changing events, including her mother’s passing, the ramifications of having guns drawn on her in her house have scarred her the most. “I don’t know when I’ll be the same,” she admitted. “I don’t know when I’ll be able to sleep through the night. And the option is quit your job, move — how can you live with yourself and do something like that because it’s funny? “I have never been more depressed in my entire life… than this past year. I’ve dealt with my mother dying. I’ve had horrible things happen. I genuinely believe it’s the repercussions of my PTSD of not being able to sleep and all of that on top of it. There is so much that I love in this job, but how long can I do it? It’s sad. It’s not any time soon, but I don’t know when the breaking point will be and I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet.” The star also opened up on having “suicidal thoughts” because of the backlash she’s faced. Critics online have labeled her “manipulative” and a “clout chaser” due to her relationship with Ludwig, she told Padilla. “Not to use this as drama, I’ve never been more suicidal in my entire life,” she continued. “It’s more like a thought that scares you. It’s scary. A lot of people see that, and the cynics on the internet say it’s dramabaiting or for attention, but it’s a genuine thing that happens to a lot of people and people haven’t normalized it. “Even if I’m the most depressed thing in the world, I love life. I don’t want to die. I don’t want those things, so it’s frustrating when that happens. It comes when you’re deteriorated, you’re so depleted, and your brain is bombarding you.” As streaming continues to grow, 2023 can be a chance to turn a new leaf in QTCinderella’s eyes: “I’m hoping, as a community, people can get nicer. Over the last year you’ve seen some drama that’s just insidious. If people were nicer, they knew each other more, they were human to each other, then hopefully some of that goes away.” If you or somebody you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, you can reach out to the Samaritans (116 123) in the United Kingdom, or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-8255) in the USA. QTCinderella leaves TSM over lack of support for Streamer Awards: “No one cared” – Dexerto
QTCinderella leaves TSM over lack of support for Streamer Awards: “No one cared” Instagram: QTCinderellaContent creator QTCinderella has revealed that she has parted ways with esports organization TSM, citing a lack of support and a botched contract re-negotiation as the main motivations for her departure. QTCinderella joined Team SoloMid back in September 2021. And after just over a year, the popular content creator has revealed that she has now left the company. The news of her departure was revealed on November 2, with QTCinderella uploading a short message explaining why she chose to step away, “I’ve loved TSM for years, the only team I’ve ever cheered for, the only merch I ever bought, and the only games I showed up to,” she began. “Sadly after joining I learned that you should “never meet your heroes.” She then went on to explain that a big part of her decision to leave came due to the alleged lack of support she was receiving from the team. In particular, how they supposedly failed to encourage her when creating The Streamer Awards. Now going forward with her career – she wants to be a part of an organization that has her back.

QTCinderella hits out at “hot take sexist men” getting attention on Twitch – Dexerto
QTCinderella hits out at “hot take sexist men” getting attention on Twitch Twitch: QTCinderellaTwitch star QTCinderella has called on her fellow streamers to stop “giving attention” to some controversial internet figures who have been causing a storm with their ‘misogynistic’ takes. A fiery dispute sparked among the streaming community after kickboxer and internet star Andrew Tate appeared on Adin Ross’ Twitch stream and shared numerous ‘sexist’ views during his interview. Tate has continued to hit the headlines since then over his controversial takes. Various Twitch creators have also got into a heated dispute with Tate after featuring him in their livestreams. However, QTCinderella begged streamers to stop featuring figures such as Tate in their livestreams as it gives their views a “platform.” Subsequently, it could have a potentially dangerous influence over young viewers. QTCinderella slams ‘sexist’ influencers On July 26, QTCinderella ‘begged’ her fellow streaming stars to not give attention to “hot take sexist men” by including them in their content. The comment was in response to young Twitch streamer who caused uproar after claiming he would harass female streamers “because it’s funny” and makes “content.” A clip posted by Amanderz showed the streamer berating her and making inappropriate comments. For QT, this is a direct result of controversial figures who are “blossoming on the internet” and are encouraging such behavior. Her followers agreed with the comment claiming that the young streamer’s behavior was worryingly similar to that of IShowSpeed, Adin Ross, and Andrew Tate fans. This is unironically what every ishowspeed, adin ross and Andrew Tate fan looks like. — Drew (@JustAztecc) July 26, 2022 Tate isn’t the only internet figure to have caused a storm over his ‘misogynistic’ statements. Twitch streamer Greekgodx was also under fire after stating that any future female partner of his could expect to be “cooking, cleaning, and making sure my home is f**king clean.” It’s not been confirmed whether the comments were what led to his Twitch suspension as of writing. However, for QTCinderella it is still a worrying sign of the effects such behavior on Twitch is having on young creators. Correction: A previous version of this article used the wrong name for the streamer who was harassing Amanderz – Amanderz is the streamer who was harassed by the young streamer who has now been banned.

QTCinderella hitting brick wall amid deepfake legal battle: “There’s no way to sue the guy” – Dexerto
QTCinderella hitting brick wall amid deepfake legal battle: “There’s no way to sue the guy” Twitch: QTCinderellaQTCinderella has recently vented her frustration about the “disheartening” legal framework currently in place to defend individuals against explicit deepfake content, especially whilst looking to sue the creator of a site that featured her and many other female streamers. After the deepfake controversy that happened earlier this year, the subject has become widely discussed in the streaming realm, and many content creators are still dealing with the fallout. On January 31, Twitch streamer Atrioc came forward and admitted to viewing graphic deepfake images of female content creators. These female personalities included several high-profile streamers such as Pokimane and Sweet Anita, many of whom expressed severely mixed and distressing emotions as a result. One of those affected was influential streamer QTCinderella, a personal friend of Atrioc’s, who similarly expressed frustration. Her outrage was pointed particularly at the individuals who proceeded to continue to spread the images online, tweeting “Everybody f***ing stop. Stop spreading it. Stop advertising it.” Alongside this, QTCinderella stated that she was going to sue the creator of the deepfake website, however, she has recently updated fans in speaking with NBC, admitting that she’s hit a brick wall due to the “disheartening” nature of the legal system. QTCinderella has stated that whilst planning on suing the creator, she has spoken to several lawyers all of which have “come to the conclusion that we don’t have a case; there’s no way to sue the guy.” She went on to state that the current legal framework against deepfakes is “disheartening”. According to the MIT Technology Review, most states in the US have laws against the soliciting or sharing of sexually intimate content without consent. However, very few states have laws that protect individuals against having deepfaked images of themselves being produced or shared on the internet. QTCinderella also explained the effects the images had on her self-esteem. In a recent tweet, she expressed feeling body dysmorphia as a result of the images, highlighting the complexity of the issue. “The amount of body dysmorphia I’ve experienced since seeing those photos has ruined me. It’s not as simple as “just” being violated. It’s so much more than that.” This complexity was only further reinforced due to the strain it placed on her and Atrioc’s personal relationship after he was found viewing the images.

QTCinderella “frustrated” after other award shows adopt Streamer Awards categories – Dexerto
QTCinderella “frustrated” after other award shows adopt Streamer Awards categories Instagram: qtcinderellaTwitch star QTCinderella admitted that she’s “frustrated” by other award shows adopting categories from her own event, The Streamer Awards. The Streamer Awards, organized by Twitch streamer QTCinderella, recognizes the best and brightest online entertainers as voted by both the community and a hand-picked selection of panelists. The show was first implemented in 2022 and will return for a second time in 2023. Although other award shows have recognized content creators in the past, The Streamer Awards exclusively focuses on broadcasters and online talent, operating as a grassroots event that is coordinated by QT and her fellow streamers. Last year’s show was a major success — so much so that QT says she’s seen other big awards ceremonies adopt some of the categories she created specifically for The Streamer Awards. QTCinderella “frustrated” as other shows use Streamer Awards categories We got the chance to speak with QT about the upcoming show in an exclusive interview, where she admitted that she’s a bit “frustrated” by other awards events using the categories she created specifically for her own ceremony. “The reason I made my event was because there was no award show that had these categories,” she explained. “And so I was like, ‘Okay, here we go.’ Since I’ve made this event, I will say, I’ve seen some award shows adopt my categories, which is a bit frustrating.” “It is really frustrating when it’s like, there’s a reason I made this. It’s frustrating to see that happen, but at the end of the day, we have the community support, we’re grassroots. “We’re trying our best over here. We’ll always find a way to adapt and stand out. If people have to copy me to adapt, I guess that’s them, but we’ll still be the originals over here.” Although she didn’t name any names, it looks like The Streamer Awards are inspiring further recognition of online personalities in other shows. (You know what they say — imitation is the greatest form of flattery.) Fans can tune into the 2023 Streamer Awards on March 11 via QTCinderella’s official Twitch channel.

QTCinderella has wholesome reaction to meeting xQc for the first time – Dexerto
QTCinderella has wholesome reaction to meeting xQc for the first time Twitch, QTCinderella/Twitter, xQcOWQTCinderella went live to talk about how she organized Sh*tcamp, and the creator had a wholesome reaction when she described meeting Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel for the first time. Having organized a meet-up between a large group of influencers called ‘Sh*tcamp,’ QTCinderella had a lot to do during the event. Since it ended on September 30, the creator has officially been able to head home and fire up a stream to talk about her experience being the organizer. The gathering didn’t go without its own interesting moments before it ended, with Sodapoppin eating an unpeeled banana and UFC star Nate Diaz making an unannounced cameo. During an October 3 stream, TSM QTCinderella had a wholesome reaction as she described her first interaction with xQc. QTCinderella meets xQc for the first time While talking about Sh*tcamp, QT explained that she hadn’t spent time with the Juicer before the event and had nothing but praise for him: “I didn’t know he was so funny.” Surprised that he was so helpful during the stream, the TSM member explained that he was fantastic at helping out in other creator’s streams just as much as his own. “What a sweet, sweet person. Everything I did, he thanked me for it,” she said, telling chat that he even complimented her on organizing the event before they left. QTCinderella isn’t the first person to compliment the former Overwatch pro. Mizkif went on record last year stating that the Canadian creator deserves his success based on his work ethic and dedication to his platform. It’s no secret that xQc had fun during Sh*tcamp as he’s gone on record stating he’s considering a move to LA, he wants to collab with his new friends, and even threw around the idea of a “Survivor” style stream with the group. Whether or not anything will happen in the future remains to be seen.

QTCinderella exposes thirsty streamers for sliding in Ludwig’s DMs – Dexerto
QTCinderella exposes thirsty streamers for sliding in Ludwig’s DMs YouTube: 100 Thieves Cast, LudwigPopular Twitch streamer QTCinderella called out other female broadcasters for sliding in her boyfriend’s DMs after she and Ludwig started dating. QTCinderella and Ludwig are arguably one of the most prominent streaming power couples out there at the moment. Both are popular broadcasters in their own right; QT has become widely hailed for her eye-catching IRL events, where she gathers together some of the biggest streamers for fun-filled activities like Shitcamp and even The Streamer Awards. Ludwig is also creating his own events, with his recent 50-hour Subathon and upcoming Chessboxing tournament drawing tens of thousands of eyes across the internet. Ludwig and QT have been dating since Summer 2020, with Ludwig addressing the rumors about them in a pointed and concise Tweet. Despite making things clear, it looks like QT still has to deal with some competition, with the streamer claiming that other women in the streaming space continue to slide in her man’s DMs despite his ‘taken’ status. QTCinderella blasts female streamers for sliding in Ludwig’s DMs She opened up about the issue during a podcast with 100 Thieves’ BrookeAB, saying that although she hasn’t experienced many guys trying to slide in her DMs since dating Ludwig, other women are still shooting their shot with her boyfriend. “I’ve been doing this for years, and ever since I started dating Ludwig, silence. No one has tried. However, there are a lot of female streamers that have tried sliding in on Ludwig,” she explained. “It’s this weird, interesting thing where I feel like guys have this guy code where they’re like, ‘Ah. She is his now. I will not slide on her. I respect other men.’ Compared to women, since we’ve been pitted against each other for so long, are like, ‘Okay, so I can beat her,’” she continued, pantomiming texting on a phone. “‘I’m way hotter than your girlfriend. Hi!’” (Topic starts at 18:20) Although QT likely doesn’t have to worry about any of the other women shooting their shot with her man, she might have to worry about YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, who recently peeped Ludwig’s new tattoo he got of the Twitch logo despite being a partnered YouTube streamer.

QTCinderella fires back at “scary man” approaching her in public with perfect response – Dexerto
QTCinderella fires back at “scary man” approaching her in public with perfect response Twitch: QTCinderellaPopular streamer QTCinderella has shared with fans the brilliant response she had for a “scary man” who approached her in public. After she walked away victorious, her fiery words were enough to leave the stranger standing there in stunned silence. QTCinderella is one of the most prominent names on Twitch, streaming to thousands of fans and creating a wide variety of content, such as the Streamer Awards that she organized to celebrate the best of her peers. She was left floundered, though, when she was approached by a stranger in public with a rather crude request. Yet, with one fiery response, she left the “scary man” lost for words while she walked away triumphant, and her fans couldn’t get enough of it. QTCinderella shares great response to “strange man” In a tweet posted on May 3, QTCinderella shared with fans how she had the perfect response to a man who approached her on the street. According to QTCinderella, the man came up to her and asked “Where you goin’ baby?” Yet, she quickly fired back: “I’m on my way to f*ck your dad.” As fans questioned how the stranger reacted to the comment, QTCinderella said he just “stood there in shock while [she] walked away.” The scary man on the street DID NOT expect me to say “I’m on my way to fuck your dad” when he asked “where you goin baby?” — QTCinderella (@qtcinderella) May 3, 2022 The tweet went down brilliantly among QT’s fans who praised her for standing up to the stranger who called her a “girl boss” for her terrific clap back. One fan thanked QTCinderella providing her with a great response for her to use when she is also “catcalled” in public. Thank you for posting this so I can reply with the same response every time I get cat called — andrasté✨ (@andrast7) May 3, 2022 This isn’t the first time that QTCinderella has had to stand up to inappropriate comments by strangers. Back in April 2022, she and her fellow female streamers teamed up together and called on Reddit to do more to tackle trolls who were posting “gross” edits of their images on the website.

QTCinderella explains why she went public with JustaMinx Streamer Awards drama – Dexerto
QTCinderella explains why she went public with JustaMinx Streamer Awards drama Twitch: qtcinderellaQTCinderella has explained why she went public after fellow streamer JustaMinx caused The Streamer Awards afterparty to get shut down, costing QT $50,000. The Streamer Awards took place this past weekend, bringing together the internet’s top entertainers under one roof for a fun-filled night of celebration and recognition. Although the show was well-received by fans and streamers alike, the afterparty left a different taste in people’s mouths. The event ended up being shut down after streamer JustaMinx allegedly became drunk and disorderly and had to be escorted off the premises by security. According to QTCinderella and other streamers, Minx attempted to toss attendees into a pool at the venue, as well as a few outdoor gas heaters. As told by QT, Minx allegedly went limp once security arrived as a “tactical” means of making removing her more difficult. (Topic begins at 34:30) Minx, however, claims she was pushed and suffered a seizure. She and QTCinderella had a spat over Twitter, where QT notably told the streamer to “go f*ck yourself” before providing Discord DMs where Minx “pinky swore” not to drink at the event. Minx later went live on Kick after publishing a tweet that read, “Dumb b*tch.” During her broadcast, she reiterated that she suffered a seizure and said she’s traveling back home to Ireland to receive treatment for her epilepsy. QT, however, didn’t believe Minx had a seizure and commented under a photo that Minx posted of herself at a hospital: ” You’re just lying. This picture is from you getting liquids at the ER.” Many fans were left wondering why this feud was taken public — a query that QT addressed on her own Twitch channel the very next day. QTCinderella has “tried everything” to help JustaMinx On March 14, QT explained that she didn’t keep the ordeal under wraps as she’s “tried everything” to get Minx help with an apparent alcohol dependency. “I can’t tell you how many tears I have cried over losing someone who was my best friend to this,” she said. “Genuinely. Over the past year, you can’t look at her in the face — there’s not the same person there. She’s been lost and gone. I have tried everything.” “I mean everything. I got together a group for an intervention, and then got the rehab, got family involved. I’ve tried f*cking everything. She doesn’t want the help. I’ve tried handling it privately. It hasn’t done anything, so I am just hoping that maybe all of this will finally make her realize she needs to get help and she can’t keep using excuses.” Minx has offered to reimburse QTCinderella for the cost of the canceled afterparty, and says she has been blocked by QT. We’ll continue to keep you updated as the situation unfolds right here on Dexerto.

QTCinderella explains why Streamer Awards matter: “It’s so much more than a stupid frog trophy” – Dexerto
QTCinderella explains why Streamer Awards matter: “It’s so much more than a stupid frog trophy” Instagram: QTcinderella, frenzystudio_Twitch star QTCinderella opened up about her passion for The Streamer Awards in an exclusive interview with Dexerto, explaining why the ceremony matters for squashing beef and recognizing hard-working content creators. The Streamer Awards are nearly upon us. Scheduled for Saturday, March 11, this grassroots ceremony celebrates live streamers and content creators from multiple social media platforms as voted by their peers and the community. The entire show is orchestrated by Twitch streamer QTCinderella, who has become well-known for creating other live events like Shitcamp, which are specifically curated for broadcasters. It’s safe to say that The Streamer Awards is the biggest of these events — and is also one of the most important activities for the streaming community at large, helping to quash feuds between creators and shine a well-deserved light on overlooked influencers. QTCinderella says Streamer Awards helps connect creators As the Awards loom on the horizon, we got the chance to speak with QTCinderella about her show, which she says has some major benefits for broadcasters big and small. “It’s way more than just an award show,” QT explained. “It’s the collaborations that it sparks, it’s the relationships that it sparks. It’s squashing the beef. I think in North America, we have a really hard time with not interacting. At a normal 9-5 job, you can hate Susan from accounting, but chances are you’re still gonna gossip about your weekend [together]. You’re still gonna be talking over the water cooler.” “Unfortunately, in this industry, everyone’s so isolated that it leads to a lot of toxicity. Yes, you can misinterpret someone’s sentence or somebody’s joke because you don’t know them as a person. But it’s events like this that actually allow people to have conversations in-person and get rid of that illusion of what you might think of somebody.” QTCinderella reveals what Asmongold said to her after winning MMORPG streamer award On top of bringing streamers together, QT says the Awards also shine a much-deserved light on hard-working content creators. In fact, she claimed that Asmongold — a major Twitch star with over 3 million followers — had never received an award prior to last year’s Streamer Awards. His heartfelt response to being recognized sticks with QT to this day, and is one of the key reasons she started up The Streamer Awards in the first place. “I quote this a lot, but last year, Asmongold won Best MMORPG streamer, and one of the things he said to me was, ‘I’ve never won an award.’ And he’s been streaming for years!” QT exclaimed. “You know, streaming — you think about your entire life, especially as a gamer. You’re someone who is isolated, overlooked. It’s time to clap these people on the back.” “A lot of people think, ‘Oh, these are big streamers and their audience celebrates them.’ No. Having your peers recognize you is so important. It’s an important thing in life to be recognized. …it’s so much more than a stupid frog trophy. It’s so much more than that.” Fulfilling a childhood dream Despite the Awards’ overwhelming success, QT still can’t believe the positive reception to her streamer-focused ceremony and other live events. She’s been open about her struggles making friends as a child, having been bullied for coming from a religious family that struggled with money — but says these events help show her just how far she’s come since then. “I grew up pretty bullied,” she revealed. “I didn’t have a large group of friends. I would throw birthday parties and no one would show up. I lived 45 minutes away from my school. I lived in a poorer part of town but I drove to school everyday, because it was a nicer school and my mom wanted me to have a nicer education, but when I’d have a birthday party, no one wanted to go to the poor girl’s house. “Doing these events now and people actually showing up feels really surreal, still. I haven’t convinced that 15-year-old inside of me that maybe people like you.” Fans can tune into the Streamer Awards on Saturday, March 11 on QT’s official Twitch channel.

QTCinderella explains why her personal assistant needs to wash her dishes – Dexerto
QTCinderella explains why her personal assistant needs to wash her dishes YouTube: QTCinderellaTwitch streamer QTCinderella has responded to backlash after creating a job listing for a personal assistant with a requirement that the employee washes her dishes. QTCinderella is one of the most prominent content creators on Twitch. Best known for creating live events like the Streamer Awards, QT, who used to be a professional cake artist, also has a penchant for baking and decorating cakes. QT goes live with baking streams on the weekends, some of which she’ll organize with other broadcasters like Valkyrae for a double cake-baking bonanza. However, her skills in the kitchen have led to some outrage online. On March 15, QT posted a job listing on Twitter for a personal assistant. In the listing, QT says her future PA must be based in Los Angeles and not be interested in making their own content. On top of that, she said the applicant mustn’t “hate doing dishes,” citing her baking streams as a reason for this requirement. Some netizens took issue with QT’s dish-washing specification, saying the issue could be easily fixed with a dishwasher (or simply saying that she could clean up after herself). “There is one thing on the list that can be fixed with a dishwasher,” one user replied. “Seems weird for that to be a personal assistant duty, but I guess it’s an LA thing.” “So, you are looking for a personal slave?” another asked. “Lost me at the dishes, damn,” another said. QTCinderella hits back at outrage over Personal Assistant job listing QT explained that the job would be salaried and full-time, but went on to further explain her situation in a March 20 episode of the Fear& podcast with Hasan and AustinShow. “I don’t want an assistant who makes their own content,” she began. “The whole idea being a privacy thing. Even if this person went home and streamed League of Legends, they could say, ‘Oh, I was over at QT’s house today, and her and Ludwig are in a fight.’ You know?” “I do baking streams on the weekend,” she continued. “I used to be a professional cake artist. As my job is to push the go live button, so my PA, their job is to keep me on camera for as long as I can. So, if I’m exhausted, and I think, ‘Oh, I have two hours worth of dishes,’ I’m gonna end early so I can do those dishes. …so it’s better for the PA to do the dishes for baking streams, specifically.” (Topic begins at 39 minutes) “I’m being upfront with the worst part,” QT added. “Like, I think the worst part of this job is washing dishes.” This is the second time QT has addressed some backlash from her viewers on stream, also recently apologizing for taking her feud with former BFF JustaMinx public after drama went down at the Streamer Awards’ afterparty.

QTCinderella explains why she “hated” Disneyland job before she was a streamer – Dexerto
QTCinderella explains why she “hated” Disneyland job before she was a streamer YouTube: TMG StudiosTwitch star QTCinderella revealed why she eventually quit her job working as a Princess at Disneyland before she became a streamer. QTCinderella has become one of Twitch’s most recognizable names since 2021 thanks to her various creative and original streaming events, such as her Sweet Showdown, the hugely successful Streamer Awards, and Shitcamp. Before her Twitch stardom, QTCinderella worked various jobs before hitting it big as a streamer including as a pastry chef, hence her incredible baking skills. However, her previous job playing Cinderella, which would later influence her streamer name, at Disneyland proved to be little more trialling, especially when she had to deal with creepy male visitors. QTCinderella explains why she quit Disneyland job Speaking with the TMG Studios podcast, QTCinderella described her experience working as Disney princess or “face character” at Disneyland. Although, it would seem like a dream come true, she claimed there were some very inappropriate visitors. “It’s actually not the kids. The worst part is the dads,” she claimed. “As a Princess, if a Dad grabs your a** […] you can’t be like ‘stop’ because Cinderella would not say ‘stop.’” Instead, if she was in a situation where she didn’t feel comfortable, she would have to give a “codeword” to a Disney coworker helping her with the meet and greets who would bring the meeting to an end. However, she was not allowed to speak up herself as it would “break the illusion.” (Topic begins in video at 46:10) She also described how it could be a fairly “toxic” role given how she and her fellow cast members had to stay a “certain size” in order to fit into their costumes. In the end, she decided to quit. As a life-long Disney fan, she was worried the experience “was taking the magic away” as she started to “hate the place.” However, she emphasized how things have got “so much better” at the park since she left the role. QT has continued to indulge in her love for Disney since the experience. Although, with her huge streaming success, she certainly won’t need to be return to work at the famous theme park any time soon.

QTCinderella criticizes Pokimane for “toxic” female streamer rating game – Dexerto
QTCinderella criticizes Pokimane for “toxic” female streamer rating game Instagram/pokimane/qtcinderellaTwitch star QTCinderella called out Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys for how she handled partaking in a female streamers rating tournament hosted on a Korean website. The competition, something referred to as a “World Cup” has been making the rounds on Twitch. It pits two streamers against each other with the user deciding who moves on. The survey ends once only one entertainer remains. While some are enjoying the competition and even broadcast it for their viewers, such as Pokimane, others are taking issue with it. “I’ll say, that whole World Cup thing, very toxic,” QTCinderella told her chat during a March 30 broadcast. “I thought that Pokimane wouldn’t have made it toxic, but she, she kind of added to it.” The League of Legends streamer continued, explaining that she handled the whole thing poorly by making it about looks instead of just content. “The appropriate way to do that, as a female to support other females on the platform, would be to look through it and say ‘oh, I like this girl’s content’ or ‘this girl’s really funny’ or ‘I’m friends with this girl, I’m going to choose her,’” she said. “There were multiple times where Pokimane said ‘I’m purely doing this based off looks and this girl is prettier.’ I don’t think that’s appropriate for a girl who represents the majority of females on Twitch. So just, throwing that out there. It’s kind of a bummer,” the streamer concluded. “Big yikes from me.” Pokimane also chimed in on QTCinderella when she played the streamer game. “If I was a guy, I would want to date her because it would be interesting,” she laughed. “I know it would be passionate, but crazy but whacky and a good time.” “Maybe I’ll die afterward, but it would be a fun time either way. And I think she has a really really sweet, genuine side to her,” the Canadian added. While Poki did pick QT in her first-round match, the League streamer didn’t survive round two. It’ll be interesting to see how Pokimane reacts to QTCinderella’s criticisms or if the two will try to patch things up privately.

QTCinderella explains how JustAMinx cost her $50k by getting Streamer Awards party shut down – Dexerto
QTCinderella explains how JustAMinx cost her $50k by getting Streamer Awards party shut down Twitch: JustAMinx, QTCinderellaQTCinderella has revealed that the Streamer Awards party got shut down by security, after streamer JustAMinx got so drunk that she became a safety hazard for others there and cause the whole party to be closed down — with $50k of QT’s money being thrown down the drain as a result. The Streamer Awards have become a huge annual event, run by QTCinderella, and celebrate the very best that the livestreaming world has to offer. With top stars of Twitch taking home awards, such as Kai Cenat for Best Streamer and Kyedae for Best Valorant Streamer, it’s become a great way for fans to vote and show support for their favorite creators, as well as a good night for the streamers themselves. Unfortunately, while the awards themselves were a success — despite some cancelations from people who couldn’t make it — the subsequent party was ruined as a drunk JustAMinx started to cause trouble at the venue, with an ambulance turning up and noise complaints being made by nearby residents. QTCinderella claims JustaMinx caused Streamer Awards party shutdown As explained by QTCinderella herself, she told Minx she could attend the awards on the one condition that she wouldn’t drink, which the Irish streamer initially agreed to, but didn’t end up happening. After being told that Minx would have to be removed by security, QT explained: “So they went to remove her but instead of just calling an Uber and leaving, she refused to leave then decided to drop down and no longer walk, becoming a deadweight and hitting her head.” This led to “the entire party getting shut down and me losing $50,000” due to a contract with the venue they’d booked for the party. xQc went on to give his thoughts on the situation, saying that the people around Minx need to help her to stop drinking, as this is not the first time there have been incidents like these off the back of her alcohol usage. “People try to help, but they don’t actually help,” he explained. “I’m not throwing people under the bus, I don’t know what really happened, this is just my perspective on people around Minx over the years. People will be like ‘Stop drinking,’ but they’re not actually helping at all.” xQc gave his thoughts on this situation: pic.twitter.com/qZrY8mbviS — Dexerto (@Dexerto) March 13, 2023 Minx tweeted on her alt account the following day, saying that she had had “the worst seizure she’s had,” and that she was struggling to regain any memory. In a follow-up tweet she said that she has had epilepsy since she was 9 years old, and also assumed that she would be allowed to drink at the afterparty, though now realizes that isn’t the case. QTCinderella hits back at JustaMinx after Streamer Awards party gets shut down QTCinderella has since responded to Minx’s tweet, where she claimed the streamer was drunk at the Awards ceremony and was nearly thrown out of the event for making attendees “uncomfortable” prior to the party. “You were drunk before the after party,” QT claimed. “I almost had you thrown out of the show because you were yelling and making everyone uncomfortable. Completely. I’ve tried everything with you. Rehab. Everything. I hope this is your rock bottom. Get help.” She also shared her DMs with Minx via Discord in a screenshot, where Minx “pinky swear[s]” she wouldn’t drink at the event. That’s not all; Minx uploaded photos of herself receiving an IV at the hospital, once again claiming she had a seizure after being “pushed over” at the party. “It’s obviously not an excuse for ruining the party, but I’m not lying about my epilepsy,” she wrote. QTCinderella hit back at Minx’s post, claiming that Minx was lying about having a seizure and about being pushed. “Minx, you did not have a seizure,” she hit back. “I was there the entire time. Also, no one pushed you. You’re just lying. This picture is from you getting liquids at the ER.” Minx later went live on Kick, where she claimed a doctor at Cedars-Sinai allegedly stated she did have a seizure. In a Tweet announcing her stream, Minx appeared to call QT a “dumb b*tch.” “I shouldn’t have drank,” she admitted in her stream. “It’s just a shame on my behalf.” “Just to clarify, I did have a seizure. That was not a lie. I was in the hospital for it.” Minx went on to state that she will return to Ireland to see her doctor for help with her seizures and is waiting to receive an invoice for the expense of the afterparty from QT. We’ll keep you updated as the situation continues to unfold right here on Dexerto.

QTCinderella cancels hyped Girls Trip after Twitch streamer gets sick on Day 1 – Dexerto
QTCinderella cancels hyped Girls Trip after Twitch streamer gets sick on Day 1 Twitch: QTCinderellaQTCinderella’s Girls Trip, a three-day affair across multiple streamers channels featuring a mammoth cast of female streamers, was just cut short. Despite boasting a significant presence on her own with 724,000 followers on Twitch and 359,000 on Twitter, QTCinderella has spent the past few months building a solid reputation as an organizer for large-scale, real-life events and streams. Starting with Sh*tcamp, turning the hype from that into the Streamer Awards, and most recently partnering with HyperX for Girls Trip. A three-day multi-event bonanza with a powerhouse of female streamers. Unfortunately, the event has been cut short, with Cinderella announcing on May 5 that she received the “worst news ever,” before stating that the rest of the Girls Trip streams are canceled. The tweet went on to clarify that one of the streamers involved in the event had fallen sick on the first morning despite having a clean bill of health the night prior. Setting an example with such a public event, QT continued to inform her audience that they were being responsible by canceling the rest of the streams while everyone went into isolation. She closed her announcement out by saying she was “incredibly sad and sorry.” Fans and streamers alike were quick to chime in with their condolences and well wishes, understanding the rough circumstances surrounding the decision to cancel. Streamer and 100 Thieves co-owner Valkyrae replied to the tweet saying: “So sorry QT. You always go far and beyond with your events and I know it must take so much energy, time, and effort. I’m glad you and the rest of the girls are ok.” FINAL LINEUP FOR GIRLS TRIP See you in a week 🤠 pic.twitter.com/FGfGn0S7bZ — QTCinderella (@qtcinderella) April 27, 2022 Many of the cast involved with Girls Trip were also seen to extend well wishes and thanks for the brief amount of the Girls Trip schedule that they were able to take part in. Sydeon expressed the general feeling around the news with: “QT you are such a gem. Thank you for bringing us all together, it was such a pleasure to spend even a little bit of time with you all.” With the announcement still fresh, there is no information on a potential reschedule or if QTCinderella plans to host another similar event in the future. We will be sure to keep you updated with any more news as it occurs.

QTCinderella claims Adin Ross fans witch-hunted her, leading to Instagram ban – Dexerto
QTCinderella claims Adin Ross fans witch-hunted her, leading to Instagram ban Instagram: Adin Ross / Twitch: QTCinderellaQTCinderella claimed that diehard Adin Ross and Bryan Quang ‘RiceGum’ Le fans mass-reported her and William ‘WillNeff’ Neff on Instagram to the point where they got banned. It comes after Ross has found himself embroiled in plenty of drama online. The feud between Adin Ross, Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren, and Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris seemingly came out of nowhere. However, it ended quicker than it started, thanks to FaZe Banks serving as the peacemaker. But even though things ended amicably between them, and Adin even urged his fans to move on from the drama, it seems like they weren’t quite ready to bury the hatchet yet — at least, according to QTCinderella. In addition to ongoing threats, QTCinderella revealed that she and WillNeff had been banned from Instagram due to “mass reporting” from “very cool kids,” leading many to believe that it had something to do with Adin Ross fans given the nature of the reference. “Yo Instagram, please help me and my friend WillNeff,” she wrote. “We got banned due to mass reporting from very cool kids. We actually did nothing wrong besides play instruments in high school. Please help.” YO @instagram please help me and my friend @TheWillNeff we got banned due to mass reporting from very cool kids. We actually did nothing wrong besides play instruments in high school. Please help. — QTCinderella (@qtcinderella) June 5, 2021 Then, she elaborated on the situation further in a conversation with Mizkif and confirmed a big chunk of the reports were from Adin’s fans. However, some were from RiceGum’s fans too, which is presumably connected to his recent feud with Hasan. “Did you see that I got banned on Instagram? So did WillNeff,” she said. “RiceGum and Adin Ross said I’m an L Nerd and all of his fans mass reported [us].” In her view, they chose to target them instead of Ludwig and Hasan because they “don’t have the same following,” which makes them “easier to take down.” So, while the feud between all the streamers has been resolved, QTCinderella is adamant that a large number of embittered fans are still trying to ‘punish’ her and her friends. It’s only a matter of time before Instagram responds to her plea and unban their accounts. However, it might be the beginning of something that could keep happening for the weeks to come.

QTCinderella apologizes for going public with JustAMinx controversy – Dexerto
QTCinderella apologizes for going public with JustAMinx controversy YouTube: QTCinderella VODSAfter publicly calling out fellow streamer JustAMinx for her conduct at a Streamer Awards afterparty, QTCinderella says it was a mistake to do so, and has asked fans not to “attack” anyone. The 2023 edition of the Streamer Awards was a massive success, with the Valkyrae-cohosted event pulling in record viewership, a 150% increase over last year. Many of the streaming world’s biggest names were in attendance, and the show itself went off without a hitch. However, things turned somewhat sour after the show concluded. The party following the event had to be shut down, QT revealed, which cost her around $50,000. She blamed the incident on JustAMinx, who was apparently intoxicated and refusing to leave. QTCinderella regrets JustAMinx controversy Initially, QT said that she decided to go public about the incident because she had “tried everything” to help Minx, to no avail. “Over the past year, you can’t look at her in the face — there’s not the same person there. She’s been lost and gone. I have tried everything.” After failed attempts to handle it privately, QTCinderella had ultimately decided to make it public to motivate Minx to get help and stop “making excuses.” However, on March 18, QT was apologetic about her decision. “Sorry I haven’t streamed much, I’m still really overwhelmed. One big takeaway from this weekend is – please stop attacking other streamers on my behalf. “It’s always a mistake to bring things to the public eye. I won’t make that mistake again. Please do not attack anyone for me ever.” JustAMinx responded, promising that she is “working on” herself. Minx had previously claimed that she had suffered a seizure at the event, which QT disputed, calling it a lie. On March 17, it was announced that Minx would be fighting “Fangs” on the undercard of the JMX vs Le’Veon Ball boxing event from Misfits boxing.

Qdoba customer horrified after finding a nose ring in her burrito – Dexerto
Qdoba customer horrified after finding a nose ring in her burrito TIKTOK: sydniluckettA Qdoba customer went viral on TikTok after biting into her burrito only to find an employee’s nose ring buried inside. TikToker Sydni was left horrified after she bit into a burrito only to feel her teeth clenching down on a piece of metal which turned out to be a Qdoba worker’s nose piercing. “I know you b*tches are f**king lying,” she began in her 14-second video, which quickly went viral with over 3.7 million views. “I know my mouth looks dirty but there was a nose ring in my burrito! Ahh! Ahh!” she screamed, while trying to flick the nose ring off of her finger. TikTok users in the comments were disgusted with what Sydni found in her food, with one saying, “I’d never get over this I’d feel dirty for the rest of my life.” Another said, “I would be literally throwing up everywhere.” Sydni shared an update in a follow-up clip where she said, “I’m at Qdoba and I’m about to take it back.” The TikToker held up the nose ring to the camera. “My teeth, did that,” she said, as she showed the bend in the piece of metal. “People ask me, did I finish the burrito? No, b*tch, I didn’t finish the burrito.” The camera then cut back to Sydni sitting in her car after she walked inside the store. “I took it back, and the lady was there she was like, ‘oh my gosh, I feel so sorry like I’m so embarrassed,’” she shared. Sydni explained that the employee claimed that while she was working, her husband patted down her face because she was sweaty. When she went to check her nose ring to push it back into her nostril, she allegedly accidentally pushed it out. The customer ended up getting reimbursed with a burrito bowl and a Qdoba coupon for one free entree. “So I think that’s for whenever I wanna go back if I wanna go back, umm I can get something free,” she said. Many viewers thought Sydni “fumbled the bag” by settling for free food. Others wondered why she would’ve wanted to eat the food from that store after the incident. QTCinderalla claps back at Dr Disrespect after he mocks her Streamer Awards show – Dexerto
QTCinderalla claps back at Dr Disrespect after he mocks her Streamer Awards show QTCinderella/Dr DisrespectTwitch streamer QTCinderella took a few pointed shots at Dr Disrespect after he labeled the Streamer Awards as a “fake awards show” and got into it with some winners. Over the last few years, streamers and content creators have been getting increased recognition for their work from awards shows like The Game Awards and The Esports Awards. While there isn’t an official Twitch Awards show, streaming star QTCinderella launched her own in the form of the Streamer Awards, giving fans a few weeks to vote on different categories. It all culminated in a live show on March 12, with the likes of Ludwig, Shroud, Pokimane, and CodeMiko being recognized for their work. In the weeks following the show, there has been some fallout, with Sykkuno feeling slighted that the Amigops weren’t recognized for the Among Us category, and now Dr Disrespect taking a few jabs at it. As the internet watched the 94th Oscars unfold, the Doc labeled the Streamer Awards as a “fake awards show” designed just to give friends “credit” and didn’t hold any weight. Streamer of the Year winner Ludwig quickly clapped back at the Two-Time with a roast about his recent work on NFTs, but it was QTCinderella’s response that caught the eye of many. “Just ask for an invite instead of being a dick,” the Twitch streamer said shortly after Doc’s jibe went out onto the timeline. “I’ll make sure to save a seat for you and you 2+ ones next year.” Just ask for an invite instead of being a dick. Ill make sure to save a seat for you and you 2+ ones next year 😊 — QTCinderella (@qtcinderella) March 28, 2022 As the tweet racked up over 3,000 likes, many of the responses were left in disbelief by QT’s savage shot at the Two-Time, with many fans falling about themselves laughing. While others stated that it was just the Doc being his usual self and trolling, it’s tough to go after someone’s hard work and not expect a pretty brutal clap back.

Pumbaa trends on Twitter after man’s interaction with warthog goes horribly wrong – Dexerto
Pumbaa trends on Twitter after man’s interaction with warthog goes horribly wrong Pexels.com: Magda Ehlers / Disney“Hakuna Matata” is a phrase being tossed around all over Twitter right now after one man’s unfortunate interaction with a warthog went viral on social media. Animals and the internet go hand in hand. From ye olde days of ‘icanhazcheeseburger’ to the more recent ‘Owa Owa dog’ on TikTok, it’s clear that netizens are enamored with funny animals and all the hilarious situations they get themselves into. One man’s interaction with a warthog is similarly taking the net by storm, although it’s a bit more of a hair-raising affair than a dog making funny noises on TikTok. On October 12, the name of The Lion King’s ‘Pumbaa’ took off on Twitter, and it’s all thanks to one overly-friendly guy who saw a wild warthog walking up into his place of residence. While it’s clear that wild animals are to be treated with respect and caution, the man filming the interaction appeared to think that warthogs are as friendly as the average golden retriever. “Hello, boy!” he said to the approaching hog. “I wonder if we can pet him? Hi boy!” Unfortunately for this guy, though, his run-in with the warthog wasn’t a “no worries” ordeal. Almost as soon as the boar came within petting distance, it let out a loud grunt and charged toward him, prompting the man to retreat to higher ground and get out of the way of the charging hog. “Help me!” The man cried. “Help!” https://twitter.com/sunshinechi1/status/1447595536635289606 The near-instant regret the fellow was likely feeling has prompted the internet to poke fun at him all over social media. Loads of commenters have been chiming in with various jokes about the video, most of which reference The Lion King and even Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke. Too much ‘Lion King’ on the brain!! That ain’t Pumba!!!😂😂😂 — PammyDee💖💚 Archie & Lili Diana’s Auntie (@PammyDee) October 12, 2021 It’s unclear exactly who is behind the viral video, but what is clear is that wild animals shouldn’t be treated like pets, as evidenced by this man’s hard life lesson on the attitude of warthogs.

Pyrocynical explains why losing Twitch partnership was “fattest W imaginable” – Dexerto
Pyrocynical explains why losing Twitch partnership was “fattest W imaginable” YouTube: PyrocynicalNiall ‘Pyrocynical’ Comas has thanked Twitch for the “fattest W imaginable” after the platform removed his partnership in early 2022, explaining that he makes more money on YouTube than he ever has before. Earning partner status on Twitch isn’t just a status symbol, it also comes with a variety of features to your channel as well as clearer paths of communication with staff. After months of trying, Pyrocynical successfully became a partner on the platform in early 2022, before losing its status on May 24. He went on to slam Twitch for removing it without a clear explanation in a video less than a week later. Now, the creator has posted a tweet thanking Twitch for the “fattest W imaginable,” and explained why he had a change of heart. Pyrocynical thanks Twitch for soft-booting him The creator claims he was booted off the platform because not only did they remove his partnership status, but they also revoked his affiliate role — meaning he cannot make money on the platform at all. On July 5, Pyrocynical posted a tweet on his alt account detailing why he now thinks getting “soft booted” off of Twitch was the “fattest W imaginable.” His tweet reads: “Honestly whoever soft booted me off Twitch did me the fattest W imaginable, I’ve got 4x the views and revenue since streaming on YouTube” Honestly whoever soft booted me off Twitch did me the fattest W imaginable, I’ve got 4x the views and revenue since streaming on YouTube — DIVINE LINK ESTABLISHED™ (@PyroALTcynical) July 5, 2022 On YouTube, Pyrocynical has 4.71m subscribers and receives millions of views on each of his videos uploaded to his main channel. However, he has received over 550k subscribers on his streaming channel, as well as 100k between his VOD and clip channels. With YouTube Gaming’s higher 70/30 sub split and his combined subscriber count reaching over five million, it’s understandable that Pyrocynical would make more money on the Google-owned platform.

KSI explains why Logan Paul’s appeal to Boxing Commission will backfire – Dexerto
KSI explains why Logan Paul’s appeal to Boxing Commission will backfire British YouTube sensation, Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji, has slammed Logan Paul’s appeal to the California State Athletic Commission, stating that the American “can’t handle losing.” On November 17, Paul revealed that he had filed an official appeal to the Commission, due to the two-point deduction given for an illegal blow to the back of the Brit’s head. Following his split decision victory versus Logan Paul on November 9, KSI has been lapping up the post-fight antics from the American’s camp. After creating a series of videos in the wake of the fight, Olatunji, also known as JJ, has released nine-minute long video titled: “Logan Paul Is A Sore Loser,” in which he details exactly why he believes the appeal will favor himself. Starting out by addressing Logan, KSI prefaced by saying: “You just couldn’t take the L, could you?” Before going on to add: “So, Logan, in this video I’m going to show you why your appeal is going to fall flat!” JJ analyzed the first three rounds collectively, where he went on to detail how “round one to three was all me.” Ending with the third round, the Brit also described how his knockdown from the third round should have counted, in-light of the referee clocking this as Logan slipping. After showing Logan’s reaction immediately post-fight, JJ asked: “So, was it a slip or a knockdown, Logan? You tell me.” KSI then went on to shed light on Logan’s illegal knockdown. While replaying the stint that saw Logan stripped of two points from his round four score, he dubbed it “dirty and illegal.” “On top of that, you did even more dirty and illegal moves! You hit me in the back of the head (twice) when I was down,” KSI said. “So can you please tell me why you are trying to appeal the ref’s decision to take away two points from you?” On top of questioning Paul’s shots, he added: “If I’d have told the ref that I couldn’t continue after being hit in the back of the head (while I was down)… You could have easily just been disqualified!” JJ conceded round 5, chalking it up to the recovery needed after Logan’s foul play from the previous round. Moreover, he left round 6 “up for debate” since the scrap between the pair left them both at a loose end. KSI closed out by ridiculing Logan’s appeal. “You know what would be funny is if the Commission decided to take action and remove your knockdown and include my knockdown,” he said. “Because then I would win by unanimous decision and you would look (like) even more of an idiot.” Before ending the video, he addressed Logan directly by saying: “You will forever be known as the person that lost to KSI… You are a loser, so accept it.”

Tammy approached her husband to show him a news article, laughingly saying that it would “make him mad.” The article in question was from the Global News, titled, “Doug Ford is returning Ontario to a 1998 sex-ed curriculum.” Roberts and Peterson didn’t appear to be fans of the piece, with Peterson saying, “Fuck you, you fucking pricks,” in response to the one teacher’s view of gender-identity education as being a human rights issue. “I really like the little graph at the end,” he said in reference to a graph showing the number of times certain keywords were used between 1998 and 2015 sex ed curricula. Peterson continued streaming for a few more minutes, blissfully ignorant of his online presence. He then appeared to take notice of this and immediately went offline, saying, “I’m livestreaming.” Dr. Peterson’s everyday interaction with his wife (thought to be out of the public eye) shows a private side of the psychologist. Peterson has since deleted the stream, but thanks to the never-ending efforts of the internet, the clip is available for all to see.

Proof settles viral internet debate of the direction of a man on a swing – Dexerto
Proof settles viral internet debate of the direction of a man on a swing If you’re still having nightmares over the color of the dress or the Yanny or Laurel debate, we’ve got bad news – there’s another viral headache confusing the internet. On December 21, a Tik-Tok video of a man on a swing in the snow went viral online, as people couldn’t make up their minds as to which direction he was facing – is it towards the camera, or away from it? Baffled viewers can put their tinfoil hats away, though, as definitive proof has surfaced that will hopefully lay this whole optical illusion saga to rest once and for all. https://twitter.com/esnycuddles/status/1208438679796113412?s=20 Viral swing video confusion solved In the video audio, a group of friends can be heard debating which way the man was swinging. “[His] back legs are bent this way! His feet are bent straight out!” one person exclaimed. “I bet you $500 cash right now,” another argued. The clip swiftly blew up on the internet, with many users unable to figure out the definitive answer as to which way the man was facing. “Have y’all ever even been on a swing?? [Your] legs are legit in front of you so that [obviously] means they’re facing the wall,” one person disputed, which seemed to be the main consensus for many people. https://twitter.com/strapnarok/status/1208689824602832896?s=20 However, some eagle-eyed viewers have seemingly found out the definitive answer to the playground dilemma – and it appears as though the man is actually facing the camera. How do they know this? If you look closely, at one point of the video, the swing bar covers his face, meaning that it’s impossible to be in the direction of the wall. “This proves he’s facing the camera,” one user tweeted, alongside a screenshot of the video where the metal bar obscures the swinger’s face. “He goes through the swing set bars which is IMPOSSIBLE, therefore he is facing the camera. Case closed,” another user tweeted in frustration. everyone who’s thinks on that swing video that the bitch is facing the building is STUPID. i can switch to see both but when i “see” him facing the building he goes through the swing set bars which is IMPOSSIBLE therefore he is facing the camera. case closed. pic.twitter.com/Hy4GQV2UXe — maddie!! (@catraIovebot) December 22, 2019 2015 saw the web go absolutely nuts over the color of a Roman Originals dress, which some saw to be gold and white, and some blue and black. In 2018, a sound clip surfaced which split listeners as to whether the voice was saying Yanny or Laurel. Regardless of your opinions on the swinging man, it’s hard to argue with clear evidence. Maybe it’ll all be put to bed now until the next optical illusion comes along – we hope, at least.

Property YouTuber and FaZe Adapt reveal new $10m FaZe California mansion – Dexerto
Property YouTuber and FaZe Adapt reveal new $10m FaZe California mansion YouTube: FaZe AdaptPopular FaZe member Adapt has given fans a sneak peek at the organization’s brand-new $10,000,000 Los Angeles house ahead of the full tour video – though a property YouTuber has revealed the full specs. As esports and organizations have grown, teams have regularly found themselves packed inside a house so that they can practice and make content together. In the case of FaZe, they’ve skewered towards the content side things more than others. The popular organization, which boasts some of the biggest names in both esports and content creation, has had homes in New York and LA – with them sticking to the west coast for a little while longer after their most recent move into what is said to be a mansion worth around $10,000,000. Fans who are eager to see the new home in full got a sneak peek thanks to Adapt, who dropped his first vlog from the new house – documenting who had moved in, what his room was looking like, and what plans he had in mind for videos. Though he didn’t give a full tour of the new house, the YouTuber did show off a pretty swish and spacious back garden that had a huge collection of palm tree sat in the middle, an in-ground trampoline, as well as a pretty big pool, outside lounge area, and treehouse. The new house is even big enough to have it’s own guest house, which the FaZe boys noted would be home to British FaZe member Jarvis. Though, the YouTuber noted that fans would have to wait just a little while longer to get the complete house tour from him and his fellow FaZe members, some other content creators have already shown it off in its entirety. Property YouTuber AHR claimed that the 10 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms mansion was worth around $10,000,000 and would cost FaZe around $80,000 per month following a $100,000 security deposit. Though, it seems worth the price tag as the home comes with close to 13,000 square feet of space and even backs on to a private lake that is shared by a community of other homes in the area. Of course, with their own reveal in the works, the FaZe boys will no doubt put their own signature spin on showing off their new location and hype up their plans for the house. Though they’ve moved a few times, including across the United States, it seems like they can’t get much bigger or better than this one, so they might stick around for quite a while.

Professional racecar driver offers to teach xQc how to drive – Dexerto
Professional racecar driver offers to teach xQc how to drive Twitch: xQcow. MoradnessDaniel ‘Moradness’ Morad is a champion racer with a solid string of credits to his name. Boasting an impressive at-home setup for Twitch, the racer has offered his skills to help xQc become roadworthy. With three supercars to his name, you’d expect Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel to be able to drive, however, the Canadian super streamer famously doesn’t hold a license. Hoping to change that, Daniel Morad has thrown his expertise into the fray on-stream to “gladly help xQc out.” This all arose as Morad responded to viewer suggestions on an April 20 stream where a chatter said “You need to do a stream with xQc, and teach that man how to drive.” Whether this is an empty statement, or if it is possible to bring into reality remains to be seen. But it is no secret that xQc has long been license-less, and with 20-hour streams on the regular, seemingly little need to know how to drive. Addressing the mercurial nature of xQc, and his notoriety around availability for IRL events, Morad said he was available provided someone links the two up. “If you want, if you know how to get a hold of him.” On Reddit, fans hearing the news were quick to point out xQc’s difficult-to-reach nature. “Just don’t ever DM him, he never reads DMs. Also, don’t make a scheduled appointment because he will forget.” Further responses brought an unintentional brutal comparison into the mix, citing an infamous press question from the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix “Thirty years ago, Niki Lauda told us: “Take a trained monkey, place him into the cockpit and he is able to drive the car.” xQc has not responded yet, but we’ll keep updates going if this becomes a reality. Hopefully, this would be a race that Morad would not have to resort to peeing himself in.

Professor trolled online after screen-share with students exposes kink – Dexerto
Professor trolled online after screen-share with students exposes kink Unsplash: Apostolos Vamvouras / Twitter: DailyLoudOne professor might check twice before screen-sharing with students after his bookmarks accidentally revealed a certain kink of his. Recent years have seen a positive trend in the discourse, practice, and acceptance surrounding sexuality. In fact, a survey commissioned by EdenFantasys found that over one-third of Americans claim to have a specific kink or fetish, and 76 percent would be interested in broadening their horizons with new experiences. As society continues to promote acceptance, the perception of various paraphilias has shifted with many losing their taboo. Nonetheless, there are definitely people you encounter throughout life who shouldn’t be privy to that level of personal information. One professor found this out the hard way after accidentally revealing his foot fetish while screen sharing with students. Exposing the professor, Daily Loud shared to Twitter a screenshot of a Snapchat in which the sender wrote, “I’m dying [right now], my professor is sharing his screen and this is one of his tabs.” The Snapchat showed the professor’s laptop screen as he showed his students something on the welcome page of the University of Georgia’s website. However, in an unfortunate oversight, the bookmarks bar was on display and one of the professor’s favorites stood out amongst the rest: Dirty Feet Pics. The site linked was FeetFinder, which considers itself “the safest, largest, and easiest website” for buying and selling feet pictures (think OnlyFans but below the knees). The professor was quickly trolled online for his slip-up, with one person writing, “[Professor] really put his ‘foot’ in it when it comes to academic integrity.” Another Twitter user asked, “Hold up, I go to UGA. Which professor is this?” Although this professor may not be stoked to find himself the source of his student’s amusement, a foot fetish might just be more common than you think. The International Journal of Impotence Research found that “preferences for body parts or features” were the most common kink with foot fetishes accounting for almost 50 percent of this group. Pro Swimmer hits back at Joey Swoll after “making fun of” kid at gym – Dexerto
Pro Swimmer hits back at Joey Swoll after “making fun of” kid at gym YouTube: Joey Swoll / Instagram: nika.godunRussian professional swimmer Nika Godun is hitting back after fitness influencer Joey Swoll put her on blast for “making fun of” a child working out at her gym. Bodybuilder and content creator Joey Swoll is a well-known presence on the internet who is often hailed for his videos calling out poor behavior caught at gyms or fitness clubs. Swoll has gone viral multiple times for putting people on blast for poor gym etiquette — mostly, for making fun of other gymgoers. In fact, one woman deleted her social media accounts after getting caught in Swoll’s crosshairs for making fun of an older man working out at her gym. Now, another athlete is facing the internet’s ire after making fun of a child working out at her gym. In her video, Russian pro swimmer Nika Godun filmed a youngster doing dumbbell rows in an awkward way. Joey Swoll calls out pro swimmer for “making fun” of kid at gym Swoll was quick to call out the swimmer in a scathing video. “Filming him to make fun of him to post on social media is never an option,” he said. “And you’re a professional athlete. You should know better!” Nika Godun hits back at Joey Swoll after gym video sparks backlash Unlike other folks called out by Swoll in the past, it looks like Godun isn’t going to delete her account or provide an apology. Instead, she offered up an explanation for the incident in a lengthy caption on Instagram on June 10, saying that she actually knew the kid in question and calling him the “funniest guy ever.” “People want to hate and they just need to be guided where to spread their hate, and that was on me,” she wrote. “I know the kid and he’s the funniest guy ever, not giving a f*ck when his coach is not looking. He didn’t need any of my help because he’s in the swimming group with other kids and a coach and he knows how to do the exercise properly.” “He’s not disabled or sick, he’s just a KID!” she continued. “I posted a video with a caption ‘me on a Monday morning,’ saying that I’m like this kid because I adore his ‘I’m tired and I don’t give a f*ck’ energy and even in the video itself I’m saying, ‘I love him.’” She then encouraged viewers to “lighten up” and claimed the response to her post was an “over-reaction” by the internet. That’s not all; Godun also added other comments to her post, seemingly calling out Joey Swoll and claiming he “threatened” her to take the video down. Thus far, Swoll has not responded to Godun’s latest post — but we’ll make sure to keep you updated right here on Dexerto if he does.

Pro football team blasted for “scouting” players from Sidemen Charity Match – Dexerto
Pro football team blasted for “scouting” players from Sidemen Charity Match Twitter: @joinsideplusProfessional soccer club Crawley Town FC drew criticism from fans for planning to scout players from the Sidemen Charity Match. Their annual charity event began in 2016. 2022’s iteration pits the Sidemen Crew up against the YouTube Allstars Saturday, September 24, at the Valley Stadium in London. KSI highlights Sidemen FC flanked alongside Miniminter, Zerka, Vikkstar123, and other familiar names. Logan Paul, AnEsonGib, Noah Beck, and Chunkz are eye-catching names on the YouTube Allstars. Pro GeoGuessr is only getting bigger as six-figure competition turns heads – Dexerto
Pro GeoGuessr is only getting bigger as six-figure competition turns heads GeoGuessrPro GeoGuessr is only getting bigger as the 2024 World Cup sported a $100,000 prize pool across its competition and tripled its viewers from last year’s iteration. When you think of upcoming esports, GeoGuessr likely doesn’t come to mind straight away, considering it’s a game solely based on deducing where you are in random locations on Google Maps. However, with the conclusion of its 2024 World Cup event, it may not be as crazy a thought moving forward. As a game, it already has its personalities with big-name fans like Ludwig, and seeing insanely good players like Rainbolt test their skills is endlessly entertaining. Not only does it have its current fans, but it’s clearly growing, as this year’s iteration sported its biggest prize pool yet across the competition and garnered hundreds of thousands of viewers. Announced at the start of 2024, GeoGuessr put up a $100,000 prize pool across the World Cup’s qualifiers and the main event, eventually culminating in a final LAN tournament with a $50,000 pot. Not only that, any subscriptions viewers gave through Twitch were also added to the pot. Additionally, there were in-game cosmetics that were used as crowdfunding, with the winner taking it all. Viewership was also on the rise. On the last day of September 14, during the Grand Finals match between Blinky and MK, the broadcast hit a whopping 254,918 concurrent viewers, according to Esports Charts. For context, 2023’s iteration peaked at 71,252 concurrent viewers, meaning GeoGuessr more than tripled its viewer count in just one year, even rivaling the numbers of games like Overwatch 2. Sure it may not be bringing in the numbers of top-tier esports like Valorant or Counter-Strike just yet, but for a game of its size and niche, it certainly shows promise. “Oh wow. What a night. We had over 200,000 concurrent viewers watching the finals,” the GeoGuessr X (formerly Twitter) account tweeted. “We are so grateful to all of you who tuned in. Thank you so much.” Blinky eventually took home the 2024 World Cup trophy in a very close Grand Final in 3-2 fashion, with MK threatening a reverse sweep in the series. So if you aren’t clued into the world of competitive GeoGuessr, there’s no better time than now to get into it.

Pro boxer Gervonta Davis explains why he wouldn’t fight “clown” Jake Paul – Dexerto
Pro boxer Gervonta Davis explains why he wouldn’t fight “clown” Jake Paul Instagram/Jakepaul/gervontaaProfessional boxer Gervonta Davis revealed why he wouldn’t consider fighting Jake Paul for a ton of money, even though he thinks it would be an easy knockout win. Jake Paul, along with his older brother Logan, have emerged as two of boxings biggest names. The two influencers have gone from YouTube stars to throwing hands with the likes of Floyd Mayweather and even former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. Their bouts have attracted a lot of attention and there is some serious money involved, so much so that Jake is fighting Tommy Fury in December while Logan is reportedly duking it out with Mike Tyson in 2022. With no shortage of potential opponents, boxing champ Gervonta Davis weighed in on what he felt about Jake’s boxing skills and if he would ever step into the ring with him. Gervonta Davis shuts down Jake Paul fight even for tons of cash In an appearance on the Full Send podcast, Davis was asked for his thoughts on Jake Paul and simply stated that he believes the YouTuber to be a “clown.” “Jake can’t fight,” he said and added that he’d “laugh” if his team suggested he fight the Problem Child in an actual match. As it turns out, even if there was big money involved, Davis still wouldn’t fight the younger Paul brother for one simple reason. (Segment begins at 18:36 for mobile users) “I feel like in my career I can’t do that right now. I say that because I haven’t put in enough work. I’m not a Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao or Canelo. I still have work to put in,” he explained. “That’s like me in eighth grade trying to do something to who has already done their schoolwork and sh*t.” According to Davis, if he fought Jake Paul now, people would view him as a “joke” and is taking his boxing career too seriously to get caught up in that right now. So, if you were ever hoping for a potential fight between Davis and Jake Paul in the near future, it’s very unlikely to happen, at least not for quite a few years.

PRISM Project reveals Jun Akane and Yuki Kitashiro in first male VTuber gen – Dexerto
PRISM Project reveals Jun Akane and Yuki Kitashiro in first male VTuber gen PRISM ProjectIt’s been barely a month since PRISM Project dropped their first group of new VTubers in 18 months. Now they’re dropping their second for 2023 with Gen 6’s reveal on June 3. Two new male agents in Jun Akane and Yuki Kitashiro — a first for the agency — will debut on June 9. PRISM Project went 18 months between debuting their last stretch of generations, taking a year following their partnership with Sony Music Entertainment Japan to reveal Gen 5. Less than two months on, the Japan-based English VTuber agency is pushing forward with Generation 6, and its first “male-presenting” VTubers since PRISM’s founding in 2021. Jun Akane and Yuki Kitashiro, a boisterous buccaneer and an icy magician respectively, are the duo making up this new frontier. The two were selected from PRISM Project’s general audition across 2022 — the same which led them to recruit Ami Amami, Lana Shikami, and Kou Tsubame two months ago. With a “with a particular eye towards identifying talents with the potential to push the boundaries of what virtual talents can achieve, in both the online and offline entertainment industries,” PRISM hopes their first male-presenting generation can achieve success similar to NIJISANJI’s Luxiem boom, or Hololive’s STARS EN expansion. The duo will debut on June 9 at 7PM PT / 10PM ET in a rally format. You can catch the streams on both their YouTube channels.

PRISM’s Shiki Miyoshino drops Sony Music major debut with “hanahaki syndrome” – Dexerto
PRISM’s Shiki Miyoshino drops Sony Music major debut with “hanahaki syndrome” Supplied: PRISM ProjectPRISM Project’s Shiki Miyoshino has become the first English-speaking VTuber to have a major debut under Sony Music with her single “hanahaki syndrome”. It’s the first of potentially many projects for PRISM of this ilk, after joining the Sony Music Entertainment Japan brand in mid-2022. Shiki Miyoshino, for many, is the face of PRISM Project. The VTuber has more than 140,000 subscribers on YouTube, and has been kicking around for two years now with anniversary celebrations in full swing over June. However the third generation star VTuber has had a big break on June 26, announcing her major debut with music label Sony Music. Her debut single, hanahaki syndrome, will release on July 12. PRISM Project transitioned under the Sony Music Entertainment Japan banner in May 2022, and this is the first major musical project leveraging that change. The star has featured on numerous original songs before, including alongside her genmates in Prismatic Dream. This project is a different kettle of fish being under the mega music label, and emblematic of her growth over the last two years. “I’ve always loved singing, but never had the motivation to really pursue it professionally, more than what I’d been doing for so long, until joining PRISM,” she told Dexerto. “I never in my wildest dreams could’ve imagined I’d be sitting here as a musical artist for Sony Music and being supported by a ton of wonderful people within and outside my agency. It’s really a dream come true, and I have many people to thank for this opportunity of a lifetime!” Shiki joined forces with vocaloid producer and composer GHOST to make hanahaki syndrome a reality, who described the song as “a little different from [their] usual music.” PRISM producer Shogun previously spoke on opportunities like this being afforded to the agency’s VTubers during a Reddit AMA in August 2022. This has been backed up by the recent debut of three new generations and specific acquisition of stars with a musical slant like Ami Amami and Nana Asteria. “At PRISM Project, we intend to utilize all the resources of the worldwide Sony Music Group to provide both online and offline career opportunities to our talents,” he said after Gen 5’s reveal in April. “Within the virtual talent space, there are countless incredibly gifted performers who have both the skills and the drive necessary to succeed both in the classic sense as VTubers, but also in traditionally offline business spaces such as the voice acting and musical artist industries, in which we at Sony Music have over fifty-five years of experience.” Shiki is leaning full throat into those opportunities, and using all the resources at her fingertips to push forward her VTuber and music careers with PRISM Project and Sony Music in equal stead. “I’m looking forward to promoting my content and bringing my message to the entire world, and ensuring that all my fans continue to find an appreciation for feeling alive through horror and the occult,” she continued. “My debut single definitely reflects that — it’s super spooky and everything I could’ve hoped for in a major debut song, so I hope everyone will listen to it!”

PRISM Project reveal Gen 5 talents, first VTuber debuts in 18 months – Dexerto
PRISM Project reveal Gen 5 talents, first VTuber debuts in 18 months PRISM ProjectPRISM Project has revealed their first VTuber debuts in 18 months, debuting three new talents as part of Generation 5 – Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami. It’s the first signing since the agency joined forces with Sony Music Entertainment Japan in 2022. PRISM Project has been a rising force in VTubing over the past couple of years, with talents like Miyoshino Shiki taking center stage in the wider space. However, they’ve been slow to grow in the grander scheme of things. Compared to agencies debuting talents every other month, it’s been 18 months since a new PRISM Project VTuber has been revealed. That changed on April 21 though, with the Japan-based English-speaking agency revealing three new VTubers to debut by the end of the month: Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami. The three new talents bring something different to the table — both stylistically and skillswise. Ami Amami has a penchant for singing (while looking adorably cute), while android Kou Tsubame is the gamer of the bunch. Lana Shikami is “charming and quirky sun goddess” with a divine voice specializing in ASMR and voice acting. PRISM Project Gen 5 has been a long time coming. The VTuber agency, now a part of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, hasn’t debuted any new talents since November 2021. They joined forces with the Japanese mega agency nearly a year ago back in May 2022. This is something PRISM Project producer ‘Shogun’ is excited for, as it gives the VTuber agency more chances to leverage opportunities within Sony. “At PRISM Project, we intend to utilize all the resources of the worldwide Sony Music Group to provide both online and offline career opportunities to our talents,” he said in a press release. “Within the virtual talent space, there are countless incredibly gifted performers who have both the skills and the drive necessary to succeed both in the classic sense as VTubers, but also in traditionally offline business spaces such as the voice acting and musical artist industries. “With the addition of Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami, PRISM Project is honored to accept three incredible performers who have shown an above-and-beyond motivation and ambition.” The agency remarked more than 3,000 talents applied during the audition process, with the three debutants showing “promise” to be more than just VTubers. Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami will debut in a rally starting April 28 at 7PM PT / 10PM ET, hosted live on their respective YouTube channels.

PRISM Project unveils seventh generation made up of ex-independent VTubers – Dexerto
PRISM Project unveils seventh generation made up of ex-independent VTubers PRISM ProjectPRISM Project has announced its seventh generation is coming, and will be the agency’s first to be made up of formerly independent VTubers who will retain their characters and identities: Mako Sameshima, Nana Asteria, and Emma Oumiya. VTuber agencies are nothing without their fans and it’s the talents that draw those fans in. To keep people engaged companies like NIJISANJI, Hololive, and PRISM host auditions and hand-select the best candidates to represent them. Another reason new talents are hired is that VTubers are constantly graduating. Be it to move elsewhere, go independent, or because their contract was terminated. PRISM Project itself was affected by this in January 2022 when Sumi Ushio left the company on mutual terms. Now PRISM Project is set to expand its roster of virtual talents further with Generation 7 right around the corner. PRISM Project’s new wave includes three formerly independent VTubers PRISM Project has revealed its seventh generation will consist of three formerly independent VTubers: Mako Sameshima, Nana Asteria, and Emma Oumiya. The three talents will host a debut relay on June 29, starting at 6pm PDT with each debut scheduled to last around an hour. Mako will debut first with Nana and Emma following in that order. Proud of the expansion, PRISM’s producer Shogun commented: “With the additions of Mako, Nana, and Emma, PRISM Project is taking a leap forward in aiming to create a virtual talent industry where virtual talents can achieve their goals and dreams of building professional careers as talents.” The producer went on to emphasize the importance of its new talents being able to “maintain the communities, stories, and history,” they’ve built up as independent content creators. This comes at the end of a spree of debuts for PRISM Project, who previously went more than 18 months without a new talent joining. Gen 5’s launch in April included three brand new talents — Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami — while Gen 6’s release in May marked PRISM’s first male-presenting wave with Jun Akane and Yuki Kamishiro. Although rare, it isn’t unheard of for agencies to let VTubers keep their old identity. An example of this is Hoshimachi Suisei who started out as independent before joining Hololive in May 2019. Today, Suisei has nearly two million subscribers on YouTube, showing how successful the model can be.

Printer hackers strike again to help PewDiePie grow his subscriber lead over T-Series – Dexerto
Printer hackers strike again to help PewDiePie grow his subscriber lead over T-Series Hackers have used their abilities to manipulate printers as a way to boost the subscriber count of prominent YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg. For months now, PewDiePie has been involved with Bollywood YouTube channel T-Series in a well-documented race to see which will end up as the most subscribed to on YouTube. As the race drags on, more and more people are turning to extreme measures to try and help PewDiePie maintain his position on top and fend off T-Series’ relentless push. One of those extreme methods has been the remote hacking of printers around the world and forcing them to print message that instruct the users to subscribe to PewDiePie on YouTube. Read More: Popular Twitter figure ‘Avalanche’ finally does face reveal after over 5 years of mystery – The latest of these cyber attacks came to light on December 15, with the hackers responsible claiming that they managed to get to over 100,000 machines worldwide and manipulate them to print this out. While the claims have yet to be verified, people from all over the world have reported and posted pictures of them receiving the message through their printer, including from the US, UK, Argentina, Spain, Australia, and Chile. Judging by the variety in the pictures that are circulating on social media, it appears that the hackers do not discriminate which printers they hack, having attacked machines located in offices, businesses, and homes. My Dymo printer just told me that I need to subscribe to @pewdiepie but I’m already a subscriber :joyful: pic.twitter.com/Hm7veeyEiO — Jéssica Llinares (@Thrillka) December 15, 2018 Interestingly enough, this is the second wave of printer hacking that has occurred in favor of PewDiePie, with the first taking place towards the early days of December. In that instance, an estimated 50,000 printers were breached and forced to spew out instructions to subscribe to the famous YouTuber, and the printed message from then appears to have remained identical to the ones from this second wave of hacks. This is the latest development in what has been a favorable series of events for PewDiePie, who received a massive boost earlier on December 16 when a YouTube subscriber purge of bot accounts cost T-Series over 300,000 subs, while PewDiePie lost only 80,000. As of right now, according to a live counter on YouTube, he sits at just over 77.1 million subs, while T-Series is at just over 75.7 million, having fallen behind drastically after coming very close to taking the lead. Will these hackers’ breach of printers prevent T-Series from overtaking PewDiePie, probably not, as it seems inevitable that the Swede will eventually lose his top spot. However, statistical projections predicted that to have taken place weeks ago, and he continues to defy the odds thanks to huge, last-second boosts such as this latest wave of hacks. Source – BBC

PRISM’s Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame & Lana Shikami on debuting for a VTuber agency – Dexerto
PRISM’s Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame & Lana Shikami on debuting for a VTuber agency YouTube: Kou TsubameThey are “the music loving generation of PRISM Project.” Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami broke the VTuber agency’s long drought of debuts when they stepped onto the scene in April 2023. Now, they open up on what that pressure was like. Ami Amami, Kou Tsubame, and Lana Shikami broke one of VTubing’s longest debut droughts. The trio were PRISM Project’s first releases in 18 months. It was the agency’s first reveal since joining Sony Music Entertainment Japan nearly 12 months earlier. Those two facts made their first impressions even more important than your usual VTuber debut. But such is the lighthearted nature of PRISM Project Gen 5, codenamed Forecast, that this was nothing more than water off their back. The trio (now duo following the graduation of Lana Shikami due to health reasons) are bright and bubbly — even the electrifying Kou Tsubame has a bit of ‘gap moe’ going on — and have put their best foot forward in these first three months. Right off the bat, they were bouncing off each other like longtime pals when reflecting on what led them here. Music, for one, is a core part of each of their identities. Ami leans more into the Japanese idol culture, while Kou is more hardened on the EDM scene. Lana was a self-professed musical theater nerd. They’re all into various types of games, like most streamers are. And they all made it through a pretty strenuous audition process that saw eight stars, spaced out across three generations, make the cut out of more than 3000 applicants. But all of that was truly tested when the cameras turned on them for the first time on April 29, 2023. Writer’s note: This interview was conducted in June 2023, before Lana Shikami’s graduation from PRISM Project due to health reasons. What goes into a VTuber debut? A VTuber’s debut is one of the most important streams they’ll ever do. They do say first impressions count. That pressure is only compounded when you’ve got the eyes and hopes of an agency on your back. PRISM Gen 5 launched a months-long process to get ready for debut from the moment they auditioned in August 2022. Sure, casting the talents to the character models is one thing, but finer details like graphics, background music, and the iconic Powerpoint have to be prepared. For all three of Forecast, they prepared a musical number and basically rehearsed a run sheet in their head ahead of time. “The whole debut day was a rollercoaster of emotions,” Lana explained. “There were times I was super nervous about it — we all get nervous before a performance. There were times I was super calm about it — yeah no, I’ve got this as long as my cat doesn’t jump on my table. “There’s so much prep that goes into it. You practice and you practice, you go over everything and get it all set up and sorted. On the day, you just have to give into it and go with the moment and hope you remembered everything you planned.” Even the best preparation can be soiled by nerves though. And you could cut the tension with a knife in the hours leading up to Gen 5’s debuts. “There was a meeting we had right before debut, maybe an hour before we started,” Ami explained. “It was us three, plus Shogun and the rest of management. They said some wonderful things to us, some really uplifting and encouraging messages. “Then we sat in silence — me, Kou, and Lana — the entire time. Afterwards they were like, ‘Do you guys have anything you want to say?’ And we were like ‘No, no thanks.’ We were so nervous! That was what it was like right before. “Being in anticipation that long and then releasing it in one instant in front of hundreds of people… for me, if I was on stage in front of that number of people, I probably would have fainted. I don’t think the nerves went away, maybe it was the adrenaline [kicking in].” Kou was quick to jump in with a pained scream. “I was quaking in my boots,” she laughed. “I was stressed the moment we got announced and I did not stop shaking until I hit the end stream button [on my debut] and I could finally release all the tension. “Up until that moment I was so stressed. It’s scary to have that many eyes on you at once. You can see the chat moving quickly in the corner of your eye. You’re trying to make a really good first impression. It’s just scary. It gets to you. I’m not good with crowds so…” However, the pressure subsided when they each went live. Without a hitch, they flowed seamlessly in a three-hour relay full of little gems of content. Each stream peaked at more than 1,000 viewers as each talent approached it with a different act. Ami had a cute visual novel-slash-journal walkthrough. Kou brought back the iconic rolling hills of Windows XP’s iconic Bliss background to share her lore. And Lana, well, she broke out the ASMR before her debut — and launched right into it on the day. VTuber fans couldn’t get enough, but it was an even bigger moment for those behind the scenes at PRISM. “I wanted us to do a good job for a lot of different reasons,” Ami said. “I wanted to make Shogun [the group’s producer] and management not regret having hired me. I wanted to make a good impression on the higher-ups at Sony. I wanted to make a good impression on the VTuber community. Also myself. “There was a good balance between feeling pressured negatively, and feeling pushed forward in a positive way by it.” And even the sickly-nervous Kou could see the faith many had in them to perform when it mattered: “For us to pass, that alone was a huge honor. Sony Music people were there from different departments — music directors, VA managers — and they all greenlit us.” Trying to fit in PRISM had remained unchanged for 18 months — barring one departure — before Gen 5 came along. The VTubers had all gotten to not just know each other, but truly bond. The Forecast trio had to get along themselves. After all, collabing with your genmates is a pretty core part of the agency VTubing experience. And while there was initial apprehension, they pretty quickly got over it. “One of my biggest fears with joining PRISM was, ‘What if my genmates hate me?’ An even bigger fear was, ‘What if I hate them,’” Kou said, to everyone’s laughter. “But oh my god, I love them. They’re so wonderful. “All the nerves and stress went away and I’m so grateful. It’s truly the dream team here. Every time we end a collab, we just sit on call and just laugh. I’m very grateful for those moments.” When Gen 5 stepped up to the plate, it also was a bit of a make-or-break moment for the agency. “The one thing that was stuck in my mind was we couldn’t do anything to change that PRISM family reputation the project had,” producer Shogun said. “That was from the very beginning when we had our first meeting with the talents [before Gen 5 were even auditioning]. “I know a lot of PRISM Agents were waiting a long time for us to arrive, so I worked to make them feel like the wait was worth it,” Kou added. Three months on, and it’s clear as day that they’ve slotted in smoothly. Publicly-facing, there are collabs abound. Lana linked up with the likes of Sara Nagare and Rita Kamishiro before her departure. Ami’s short covers have been shared the world over. Kou is already planning a host of musical projects — solo and perhaps with others. But there’s always got to be favorites right? “I was going through my journal and telling people about my interests,” Ami laughed, being game enough to answer the question first. “I flipped in my journal to a secret doodle page where I had drawn a picture of myself taking over the world. “Two of my senpais in particular, Rita-senpai and Iku-senpai [Hoshifuri], were very proud of me, in a horrible yaoi style of art.” Kou Tsubame resonated with Ami on the Iku sentiment because of “how hard she works and how tirelessly she puts in the effort and how much she cares.” However, she also highlighted Shiki Miyoshino, who has been making waves more broadly in the VTubing space and elevating PRISM with her. “I’ve looked up to her since way before joining PRISM. She was one of the first people to reach out and say, ‘Welcome, if you need anything just let me know.’ “After being announced to the world, she’s gone out of her way to help me and guide me and make sure I didn’t feel overwhelmed or lost. She didn’t have to do any of those things, but she did because she wanted to and she cared.” The future with PRISM Project Despite facing adversity early on, the good times are keeping on rolling for the boundlessly positive PRISM Project generation. The similarities have been highlighted above, but it’s really their differences that have brought them closer together. “We’re learning so much about things we never thought we’d be interested in or look into,” Ami explained. “I remember we had a meeting after our debut with all of us and the managers. I remember saying ‘Lana, your stream was the first ASMR stream I’ve sat through before, and I didn’t know if ASMR was for me but I enjoyed what you did with it.’ Lana was quick to jump in: “I have apologized for corrupting the frog. I’m really sorry. No one seems to believe me. I’m trying not to!” Ami laughed, before getting back on point: “Having such different backgrounds and interests could make for rifts between people, but it’s not like that for us.” Music is a core part of their content to bring them together, but it’s not just the music themselves, or even PRISM’s management, are interested in. “One of the misconceptions the fanbase had during the audition process was you understand the name Sony Music and it has ‘Music’ in the title,” Shogun explained. “Of course we have the resources within the company like various labels… but it’s not only music. “There are other areas of the virtual talent space — voice acting, ASMR, gaming content. All of these are positives for our project, and we shouldn’t think it’s limited to musically inclined people just because the name is Sony Music.” And so their big dreams expand beyond that scope. Sure, Kou Tsubame wants to go to an EDM festival and hear her voice on a track. Ami Amami wants to “reach people the world over with [her] voice” through singing, performing, or voice acting. But they don’t just want to stick to music, or VTubing for that matter. They want to break through what’s been seen as previously possible in entertainment. “I think there’s a lot to be said about how the world of VTubing allows you to do things you might not be able to do in the real world,” Ami explained. “But there’s a whole world of virtual entertainment and interconnectivity that we’ve been exploring at PRISM. “Can we do some of these things that are traditionally limited to the physical world, like performances on stage? We have seen some big companies do 3D concerts. But can we do plays? Make little movies? Go do virtual sports?” This was backed up by Shogun, who said that while PRISM Project is “one small part” of the giant Sony Music group, those connections could be valuable in pushing the entire industry forward, not just their talents. “VTubing came up from the grassroots,” he said. “The culture spontaneously developed, got pushed along by other companies, and has found itself struggling to know what comes next. Is there an opportunity to do something that is larger than streaming and gaming content? “We think we can do that, and using the strengths of the Sony Music group, soon you will be able to see the fruits of that.” More importantly than the content though, and while it sounds cheesy, they have individually found their family here — just as Shogun hoped when bringing them on in the first place. “One of the first things I noticed was the camaraderie,” Lana stated. “Everything is easy and smooth sailing because everybody is so onboard and on the same page. Everyone is working towards their individual goals but we’re also connected in how we go about achieving them.” “I came into it hoping to make friends but with the expectation that it would be mostly professional. It’s been all that and more,” Ami added. “There’s so many brilliant minds throwing ideas out there all the time, and someone is bound to want to join you to make that a reality. “A lot of companies will tell you ‘we are a family’ but that’s a surface-level thing. For us, it doesn’t feel that way here. It’s real.”

Prime reveals new limited-edition Piñata Colada flavor to celebrate Mexico launch – Dexerto
Prime reveals new limited-edition Piñata Colada flavor to celebrate Mexico launch PrimeKSI and Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration has unveiled a new limited-edition ‘Piñata Colada’ flavor to celebrate the beverage’s launch in Mexico. In early 2022, two of YouTube’s biggest stars, KSI and Logan Paul, put their differences aside and banded together to release their very own beverage called ‘Prime Hydration.’ Since then, we’ve seen Prime take over the market, with bottles of their hydration formula and cans of their caffeinated energy drinks flying off shelves. On the road to success, we’ve seen Prime work with some of the biggest names in sports, partnering with the UFC, multiple football clubs such as Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and FC Barcelona, and even signing deals with some of the most prominent athletes out there. Close to two years after its initial launch, the company announced it sold over 1 billion bottles to fans across the globe. Not only that, Logan Paul himself revealed the staggering amount that Prime generated in 2023 alone, claiming their internal revenue was over $1.2 billion. Prime announces Piñata Colada flavor for Mexico launch While originally launching with just five core flavors, there have since been a ton of additions, such as Meta Moon, Strawberry Watermelon, Lemonade, Glowberry, and the UK-exclusive KSI Orange and Mango flavor. Now, Prime has released a limited-edition ‘Piñata Colada’ flavor to celebrate its launch in Mexico. The two YouTube stars will be heading to Mexico City, where on December 9, they’ll attempt to break a Guinness World Record for breaking the biggest Piñata at 110 ft at the Auditorio Nacional. As confirmed by Logan, there will be limited-edition bottles exclusive to their event in Mexico. Currently, it’s unclear when we’ll see the ‘Piñata Colada’ flavor hit shelves in other countries. However, as usual, we should expect the US to get their hands on it first, followed by fans in the UK. That’s all we know for now, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any news right here on Dexerto when we learn more.

Pringles thief blames burglaries on addictive snack: “Once you pop, you can’t stop” – Dexerto
Pringles thief blames burglaries on addictive snack: “Once you pop, you can’t stop” Unsplash: Mahbod Akhzami / Unsplash: Lal MAHAMMADA Pringles thief has revealed to police his reasoning for committing multiple burglaries and shop thefts, claiming the snack’s slogan explains all. 40-year-old Adam Spencer was arrested in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire after a string of burglaries saw the suspect get away with 17 tubes of Pringles. On top of the crisps, Spender stole meat products and an additional £300 (approximately $383 USD) worth of stock. His Pringles escapade started on April 11 and continued until May 19. Stores that were targeted by Spencer included the following: a Tesco on Alfreton Road, an Asda store on Priestsic Road, and an Iceland groceries supermarket, also located on Priestsic Road. The latter was hit by the thief a total of three times, with one of these visits seeing Spencer get his hands on all the tubes of Pringles. However, his spree came to an end after police officers recognized the suspect and subsequently arrested him. Fessing up to his crimes, Spencer hilariously explained his series of shop thefts by quoting Pringles’ iconic slogan when questioned by police. He told officers, “Once you pop, you can’t stop.” Appearing in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court, Spencer ultimately pleaded guilty to all charges — which included two counts of burglary and three counts of theft. He was sentenced the same day and subsequently given a six-month prison sentence, which was suspended for a year. On top of this, Spencer was ordered to pay £200 (about $255 USD) in compensation. “The actions of prolific thieves like Spencer can have a really negative impact on communities, who don’t want to see their stores targeted again and again,” said police constable Dean Fenton, of Nottinghamshire Police. “Burglary is also a very serious offense, so we were pleased to be able to link Spencer to the two he was involved in, as well as the shop thefts, and put him before the courts.” Spencer will also be completing a six-month drug rehabilitation program, though it’s unlikely this was ordered for his Pringles addiction despite his reasoning for thievery.

Prime makes Glowberry hydration flavor official with unique bottle design – Dexerto
Prime makes Glowberry hydration flavor official with unique bottle design Twitter: PrimeHydrateLogan Paul & KSI’s Prime has just revealed the new Glowberry Hydration flavor that comes in the company’s most unique bottle design yet. Launched in January of 2021, Prime Hydration has become a hit with fans of KSI and Logan Paul worldwide. With only a handful of flavors at launch, Prime has since introduced Meta Moon, Lemonade, and Ice Pop flavors for fans to enjoy. Prime has finally revealed their new Glowberry Hydration flavor as well as its quite unique bottle design. Glowberry Prime Hydration has a glow-in-the-dark bottle Although the Glowberry flavor leaked back on August 13, 2023, Prime made the flavor official across social media on August 28. The bottle sports a green and black design alongside a special font for “Glowberry” and “Hydration Drink” on the top of the bottle. Going along with the unique green design, Logan Paul & KSI have made the bottle glow-in-the-dark. They didn’t reveal what flavor profile Glowberry actually is, though. To show off the bottle some more, Logan uploaded a video to the Prime Hydration TikTok page where he shined a light on the drink and turned off the lights. It quickly started glowing, but it’s safe to assume that it takes a little bit more than two seconds of light in order to glow-in-the-dark. The drink launches August 30, 2023, at 1pm ET on the Prime Hydration website and will likely be available in stores shortly after. That is, assuming you can find it in stock at your local convenience store without paying a premium.

Prime responds to health concern accusations: “Not made for anyone under 18” – Dexerto
Prime responds to health concern accusations: “Not made for anyone under 18” DrinkprimePrime has responded to US Senator Charles Schumer calling the company’s energy drink a “serious health concern.” On July 9, Schumer called on the FDA to investigate KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime energy drink based on its caffeine levels. A can of Prime Energy has 200mg of caffeine – which is a bit more than big brands like Monster and Red Bull. Previously, a school in Wales issued a warning to parents after a student had a “cardiac episode” after drinking a can of Prime Energy. The hospital had to pump the child’s stomach as a result. In response to Schumer’s accusation, Prime has responded and stressed how the energy drink is not made for “anyone under the age of 18.” Prime reveals energy drink’s caffeine is within “legal limit” As first reported by Comicbook.com, Prime officially issued a response to Schumer calling on the FDA to investigate the energy drink. “PRIME has two drinks on the market, PRIME Hydration, and PRIME Energy. It is very important to make the distinction between the two products because they are vastly different,” a representative for the company revealed. “We started PRIME last year with the launch of Hydration, a healthier sports drink alternative that comes in a bottle. PRIME Energy, sold in a can, dropped in 2023 and contains a comparable amount of caffeine to other top-selling energy drinks, all falling within the legal limit of the countries it’s sold in.” “It complied with all FDA guidelines before hitting the market and states clearly on packaging, as well as in marketing materials, that it is an energy drink and is not made for anyone under the age of 18,” the representative continued. “As a brand, our top priority is consumer safety, so we welcome discussions with the FDA or any other organization regarding suggested industry changes they feel are necessary in order to protect consumers.” To stay updated with everything Logan Paul related, check out our page on the influencer.

KSI shocked by price of Prime Lemonade on reseller market – Dexerto
KSI shocked by price of Prime Lemonade on reseller market Instagram: @DrinkPrimeIn a recent video, KSI reacted to the cost of his and Logan Paul’s Prime Lemonade drinks on the reseller market. Influencers KSI and Logan Paul introduced the world to Prime Hydration sports drinks last year and have enjoyed nothing but success since then. Thus far, the joint energy drink venture has produced a wide variety of flavors, including Blue Rasberry, Lemon Lime, Orange Mango, and Tropical Punch. Given the popularity of the beverage, it’s no wonder the pair continue to explore new flavors. The latest addition to the Prime Energy family is Lemonade, which launches just in time for summer to begin. But, as expected, some may have a difficult time getting their hands on the new flavor. KSI reacts to Prime Lemonade’s crazy resell prices on eBay Though the Prime’s Lemonade offering won’t actually release until May 15, some people already have their hands on the beverage. They’re already trying to take advantage of the reseller market, too, evidenced by several postings on eBay. Prime co-owner KSI reacted to the inflated prices in a recent video. One listing he found on eBay is selling two “extremely limited edition” bottles of Prime Lemonade for a whopping £500. Another listing features one bottle of Lemonade that had a bid of £148. Apparently, at the time of KSI’s recording, 22 people were bidding on the unopened energy drink. “That’s why there’s a huge rush to get them… people are making stupid profit.” He went on to add, “There’s probably people that actually want to try the drink, but then there are also people that are like, ‘yeah, I can make a shi** ton of money.’” This isn’t the first time that scalpers and resellers have benefited from KSI and Logan Paul’s energy drink. It probably won’t be the last time, either. In a Twitter thread earlier this year, KSI addressed the matter head-on by telling followers “it’s literally impossible to combat” the behavior of opportunists. Considering that wholesalers and those who buy from them are known to take advantage, he’s probably right.

UK shoppers fight over Prime in viral video with KSI & Logan’s drink in high demand – Dexerto
UK shoppers fight over Prime in viral video with KSI & Logan’s drink in high demand PrimeIn a viral video, UK shoppers stampede shelves at an Aldi to get their hands on Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime energy drink. The two popular YouTube streamers have been rivals in the past, facing off against one another in two separate boxing matches. But KSI and Paul have since teamed up, launching a sports energy drink under the Prime label packed with vitamins, electrolytes, and coconut water. Unsurprisingly, stores continue to rapidly sell out stock of Prime, and some people have resorted to causing carnage in an effort to purchase the drink. Aldi customers in the UK fight over KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime Aldi shoppers in the UK lined up early this morning, December 29, for a chance to get their hands on the Prime Hydration beverage. Chaos of another kind ensued as soon as the doors opened. Twitter user Mark Hall captured footage of a scene wherein Aldi customers of all ages clamored over a box filled with the item. At one point in the video, an older man even takes two bottles from the hands of a young boy. Hall described the scenes as “absolute carnage.” At first glance, the above viral video looks as though it could be footage from a Black Friday sale. But instead of fighting over cheap TVs, customers have it out for one another because of Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime energy drink. The beverage is also available to purchase in the United States, with retailers such as Target, Walmart, and CVS selling them in-store and online.

Prime Energy labeled “serious health concern” by US Senator calling for investigation – Dexerto
Prime Energy labeled “serious health concern” by US Senator calling for investigation Prime HydrationThe Prime energy drink brand is under fire after a US Senator penned a letter to the Food and Drug Administration for an investigation. Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime energy drink has been widely successful since its launch in January 2023 — though not without its controversies. Chief among those controversies is Prime’s effect on the younger members of KSI and Paul’s audience. For example, a school in Wales had to issue a warning to parents in regard to the energy drink when a student suffered a “cardiac episode” after drinking a can. Now, Democratic US Senator Charles Schumer has called on the Food and Drug Administration, commonly known as the FDA, to investigate Prime thanks to the drink’s caffeine levels. US Senator calls Prime a “serious health concern” According to reporting by the Associated Press, Schumer called on the FDA to open an investigation into Prime on July 9, 2023. When speaking about KSI, Paul’s — and by extension Prime’s — target audience, Schumer said, “One of the summer’s hottest status symbols for kids is not an outfit, or a toy — it’s a beverage. But buyer and parents beware because it’s a serious health concern for the kids it so feverishly targets.” For those who may not know, Prime is an energy drink advertised as having no added sugars and 200mg of caffeine per can. For context, that is 120mg more caffeine than Redbull and 40mg more than Monster. This high level of caffeine can have adverse effects on kids, which caused schools in the UK and elsewhere to ban the drink outright. While Prime Energy is labeled as “not recommended for children under 18” according to the website’s FAQ, one of Senator Schumer’s key points in his letter to the FDA was that parents could easily mistake Prime Energy for Prime Hydration. One has no caffeine while the other has 200mg. According to Schumer, many parents believed they were simply purchasing a juice drink for their kids but instead gave them “a cauldron of caffeine.” Ultimately, it remains to be seen if the FDA will end up investigating Prime, though it’s clear it’s caught the eye of members of the US Congress.

Prime Hydration becomes official hydration sponsor of FC Barcelona – Dexerto
Prime Hydration becomes official hydration sponsor of FC Barcelona Prime HydrationKSI and Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration has announced a partnership with the world’s biggest football team, FC Barcelona, becoming the official hydration sponsor. It’s fair to say Prime has been an immense success so far. Since the two former rivals, KSI and Logan Paul, banded up in early 2022, the beverage has reached some incredible heights. So far, the brand has sponsored teams in multiple sports, becoming the official partner of the UFC, as well as Arsenal FC — and more recently sponsoring their first athletes in MMA fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski. Earlier this year, Prime had its very own Super Bowl commercial, making it the first YouTuber brand to be advertised during the event, and has even made numerous appearances in the WWE alongside Logan Paul. Now, Prime has become a sponsor with another major sports team, partnering up with prestigious Spanish football club FC Barcelona. Prime Hydration to sponsor FC Barcelona Announced on July 1, Prime has now become the official hydration sponsor of FC Barcelona. The club was previously sponsored by one of Prime’s biggest competitors — and hydration industry leader Gatorade. “Out with the old, in with the new. Goodbye Gatorade, Prime is now the new hydration sponsor of FC Barcelone,” the two YouTube stars wrote in a joint Instagram post. According to the official club statement, the partnership will include the products being visible during games in the bench area, as well as in training sessions involving the men’s, women’s, and youth football teams. “Prime will also take a privileged place in these teams’ dressing rooms and will also feature in the Palau Blaugrana,” the statement read. “We could not be more proud and excited to serve as the newest Official Hydration Partner with one of the most iconic teams in any sport, FC Barcelona. Whether it’s a mid-game refuel or post-training recovery, we can’t wait for the FC Barcelona family to level up with Prime,” said KSI and Logan on the partnership. Earlier this year, Logan revealed Prime has already amassed over $250 million in retail sales and $110 million gross internally. There’s just no telling what could be in store next for Prime.

Prime Hydration Strawberry Watermelon sells out in under 15 minutes after UK launch – Dexerto
Prime Hydration Strawberry Watermelon sells out in under 15 minutes after UK launch Prime HydrationPrime Hydation’s newest flavor Strawberry Watermelon has sold in the UK in just 15 minutes after launch. KSI’s and Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration drink line has made waves in the hydration beverage market since its launch at the beginning of 2022, where it’s fair the brand has been a major success for the two former rivals. Starting with just five flavors in the US, the two YouTube stars have since launched several new flavors across numerous countries — and it continues to fly off shelves at a rapid pace. Even a year after its debut in the UK, fans are still struggling to get their hands on the drink, leaving many needing to go to extreme lengths to get a taste — sometimes, spending hundreds for a singular bottle off scalpers. The launch of the latest flavor is no different either, with their new Strawberry Watermelon selling out in the UK in a little less than 15 minutes after release. Prime Strawberry Watermelon sells out in under 15 minutes The Strawberry Watermelon flavor first hit shelves in the US earlier this year. Although, fans in the UK are only now able to get their hands on it. The new flavor was available for purchase via the Prime Hydration website at 5 PM BST on June 19 — where along with it came a restock for other flavors, with fan-favorites such as Ice Pop, Lemon Lime, and more also up for grabs. However, in less than 15 minutes, the entire stock had sold out. Where to buy Prime Strawberry Watermelon Thankfully, according to the reputable Prime Tracker — a fan-made app aimed at helping others find the nearest store with stock — Strawberry Watermelon will be exclusively stocked in Tesco’s across the UK from June 26. In just a little over 18 months, Prime has well and truly established itself as a major competitor in the hydration beverage market, even rivaling industry titan Gatorade. According to Logan Paul earlier this year, Prime has already amassed over $250 million in retail sales and $110 million gross internally. While it’s unclear what’s in store next for the brand, it sure is exciting.

PRIME Hydration fans beg KSI and Logan Paul for help as Tracker app faces deletion – Dexerto
PRIME Hydration fans beg KSI and Logan Paul for help as Tracker app faces deletion Instagram: drinkprime / Tom BastableFans of KSI and Logan Paul are reaching out to the YouTubers for help as an app tracking PRIME Hydration stock faces possible deletion due to problems with PRIME’s parent company. Earlier this year, YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI officially squashed their infamous beef to create their very own sports beverage, PRIME Hydration. The drink is available in most major retailers throughout the United States and the United Kingdom, although some areas find it more difficult to purchase PRIME than others. That’s where the PRIME Hydration tracker app comes into play. The app, created by fans of Paul and KSI, actively tracks 2,204 stores in the UK where PRIME is currently available so consumers don’t have to worry about wasting time going from place to place and taking their chances, just to be met with empty shelves. The app was met with great acclaim among the YouTube fanbase, with KSI even praising it during a live Discord Q & A session… but its future may be in jeopardy. On August 16, the app’s developer, Tom Bastable, penned an open letter to the community where he revealed that PRIME’s parent company, Congo Brands, asked him to take the tracker down. Bastable claimed he was “heartbroken” over the situation and said that he’s asked Congo Brands if they’re willing to work with them to make changes to the tracker, rather than a full takedown. “I think when you consider that our work on PRIME Tracker hasn’t been taking money away from PRIME, but actually putting money in their pocket — it does make it a slightly bitter pill to swallow, but I’ll do whatever they ask,” he wrote. “I’m a fan at the end of the day.” Other fans are now speaking out on social media, tagging both KSI and Logan Paul in hopes that the superstar influencers will come to the app’s aid. “Isn’t there anything you guys can do to help the app grow instead of your team(s) trying to take it down?” one user asked. “This app has been amazing, if it wasn’t for the app [I would never have gotten to] try any PRIME.” @KSI @LoganPaul isn’t there anything you guys can do to help the app grow instead of your team(s) trying to take it down ? This app has been amazing if it wasn’t for the app i wouldn’t never of got to try any prime 😔😔😔 — – (@TheRebelHardy) August 16, 2022 “Anything any of you can do to solve this? The app is a life saver,” another said. @LoganPaul @KSI @MamsTaylor anything any of you can do to solve this? The app is a life saver — Sam Briggs 🗝️ (@SamBriggsUK) August 16, 2022 For now, the future of PRIME Tracker is uncertain — but the fans are doing everything in their power to save the app from being taken down following PRIME’s bombastic launch in the UK.

Logan & KSI’s Prime drink slammed by fitness influencer: “They don’t even understand hydration” – Dexerto
Logan & KSI’s Prime drink slammed by fitness influencer: “They don’t even understand hydration” YouTube: James Smith / Instagram: drinkprimeLogan Paul and KSI’s venture into hydration drinks with Prime has been slammed by a fitness influencer as their “most profitable scam yet”. Prime has had huge success since its launch in early 2022 by former rivals Logan Paul and KSI. It’s the official partner of the UFC and Arsenal FC, has sponsored MMA fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski, and even became the official hydration sponsor of FC Barcelona. But with stock selling fast, one fitness influencer is speaking up to call out the drink. James Smith, the world’s fastest-growing online personal trainer, has slammed Prime for failing to offer buyers proper rehydration. Known for exposing toxic myths within diet culture, James released a seven-minute video outlining why he believes Logan Paul and KSI “don’t even understand hydration”. To understand how dehydration occurs and why Prime is supposedly not the solution, James explained the purpose of a rehydration drink is to replenish the body’s water and salt aka sodium. Both are lost while exercising over a longer duration as the body sweats to regulate temperature. “If you’re partaking in a sport [where you] lose loads of water and loads of salt [and you] replenish with just water, over time you’re going to create a negative balance of sodium,” James said, highlighting the importance of a good electrolyte drink. James goes on to inform viewers that there are key types of electrolytes; sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. And while all are lost to some capacity through sweat, it is sodium that takes the crown and is the most important to replenish while exercising. Prime only has 5mg of sodium, making up its electrolyte content with an impressive amount of potassium instead — a whopping 700mg in fact. In comparison, a competitor brand like Powerade contains 168mg of sodium and 200mg of potassium. “So understanding that when we sweat we lose mostly water and salt, which one of these two, [Prime of Powerade], do you think is going to be superior when it comes to replenishing the sodium that you’re losing?” James asked. Logan Paul and KSI have yet to respond to James’ video, though we’ll be sure to update you if or when they do. Check out more of the latest entertainment news here.

Prime Energy launches in Canada with 140mg caffeine just weeks after recall – Dexerto
Prime Energy launches in Canada with 140mg caffeine just weeks after recall Twitter: PrimeHydrateLogan Paul & KSI have finally launched Prime Energy in Canada with just 140mg of caffeine weeks after Health Canada issued a recall on the product. Launched in January 2023, Logan Paul & KSI’s Prime Energy has skyrocketed in popularity with some countries even importing it from the US to sell at inflated prices. The import of the drink caused a stir when Health Canada issued a recall on the drink due to its high caffeine content of 200mg. Logan & KSI quickly lashed out, and on August 21, 2023, launched a version of the drink that can be sold inside of the country. Prime Energy launches in Canada after recall In a post on Twitter, the official Prime account shared an image revealing the launch. “Move over maple, Canada has new energy drink flavors,” it says. In the picture you can see that the cans have been altered to include the French translation of the flavor at the top of the label. They also state the English and French translations of “Supplemented” and “Health Canada” in a label by the rim of the can. The biggest change for the Canada launch is the swap from 200mg of caffeine to 140mg of the energy-boosting ingredient to stay under the regulations of Health Canada — likely reversing the effect of the existing recall. Many took to the replies of the tweet to share their thoughts about the launch. One user replied: “Ayeee 140mg is still fire!” “W Prime for bringing it here,” another fan said. Canada isn’t the first country to get the 140mg version of Prime Energy either, as it’s the same in the UK.

Prime fans call out “rip off” Mas+ drink from Lionel Messi – Dexerto
Prime fans call out “rip off” Mas+ drink from Lionel Messi Mas+ by MessiFootball star Lionel Messi has just announced his very own energy and hydration drink company, Mas+, and fans quickly took to social media to call out its similarities to KSI and Logan Paul’s Prime. Outside of his focus on playing for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami, Lionel Messi has made a name for himself as an influencer with over 503M followers on Instagram alone. He announced ‘Mas+ by Messi’ — his very own energy and hydration drink company — on June 4, 2024, complete with several launch flavors like Miami Punch, Orange d’Or, and more. Shortly after it was announced, however, fans took to social media to call out its resemblance to Logan Paul and KSI’s Prime drinks. KSI News Twitter account is just one of the posts about the drink, and they posted side by side screenshots of the two Hydration bottles. They said: “No way Messi’s new drink looks exactly like Prime.” “They can (and probably will) sue them, cause its a direct reference. Even the colors are similar. Ez win for them, they have no chance in court,” one user replied. Another commented: “Prime Hydration is like a popular video game. It is so popular; people want to not only complain about it but also make rip-offs off of it all because of its success.” “Nah man Messi is the goat but wtf is he doing,” a third said. The website for Messi’s new drink doesn’t have a full nutritional fact listing but does mention a few of the drink’s highlights. According to the page, Mas+ has 10 calories while Prime has between 20 and 25. There’s also less sugar in Mas+ and the selection of electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals are slightly different. As for taste, Messi fans will have to wait until it fully releases to find out. KSI reacted to Messi’s drink launch in an Instagram story. “Speed was right, he is the goat,” read the post on top of a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo. Over the last few years, KSI and IShowSpeed have gone back and forth over which footballer was the “greatest of all time,” with KSI saying it was Messi and Speed saying it was Ronaldo. It’s clear that with the launch of Mas+ by Messi, KSI has had a change of opinion. Neither Logan Paul nor Messi have commented on the resemblance between the two drinks but we’ll be sure to update this article if they do.

Priest claims he went to hell and saw demons singing Rihanna song TIKTOK: geraldjohnson1/YOUTUBE: RihannaA priest went viral on TikTok after saying he went to hell and saw demons singing a Rihanna song to torture people. The priest, Gerald Johnson, claimed that he temporarily died in 2016 after a heart attack, and visited hell before he came back to life. “My spirit left my physical body,” he explained in a viral TikTok video with over 4 millions views. “I thought I was going upward, because I thought that I had done so much good in this lifetime and helped so many people, and made so many decisions that were Godly decisions. “But as opposed to me going up, I went down. I went literally into the center of the Earth. That’s where Hell is.’” After entering hell, Gerald said he was faced with cruel punishments, like being tormented with demonic renditions of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ and Bobby McFerrin’s ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy.’ “It just blew me away,” the priest said, adding: “Every lyric to every song is to torment you [for] the fact that you didn’t worship God through music when you were on the Earth… you chose to worship Satan by repeating the lyrics that he inspired to come into the Earth.” He concluded the 5-minute video, by explaining how he ended up escaping the fiery depths: “I lifted up out of Hell, and I came back on the Earth.” As the comment section for the TikTok is turned off, people took to Twitter to share their reactions to Gerald Johnson’s video. “DEFINITELY sounds like he was actually in Heaven,” user Eugene_Scott wrote. “Worried about Rihanna when HE is the one who ended up in HELL?” user mmdisney200 tweeted. “The hell DJ needs a raise for immaculate taste,” user ktlnlighter quipped. At the time of writing, Rihanna has not responded to the priest’s claims.

Prime drinks cause more chaos in UK as KSI addresses self-checkout malfunctions – Dexerto
Prime drinks cause more chaos in UK as KSI addresses self-checkout malfunctions PrimeKSI and Logan Paul’s Prime drinks have been selling out all across the UK, with the new beverage now causing self-checkout machines to completely crash due to the product being so highly in-demand. Prime Hydration, the hydration drink series created by influencers Logan Paul and KSI, has been an instant success since it first launched back in 2022. While the drink was initially only available in the US, Prime has now begun branching out to other parts of the world. For UK-based Supermarket franchise Sainsbury’s, the recent introduction of Prime to their stores has led to what one Twitter user described as a “nationwide malfunction in all of Sainsbury’s self-checkout machines.” This initial post was then retweeted by none other than KSI, who asked his audience and those who live in the UK, “did this actually happen?” People then began flooding KSI’s retweet with comments verifying that the new Prime stock did in fact cause issues for the UK chain. One user posted a photo of the Sainsbury self-checkout system denying them from purchasing the drinks, with the message “not allowed, maximum threshold reached” appearing on the system. The screen then also added that the products have been “limited to 3 drinks per customer.” Another person added to KSI’s tweet that, “I work in Sainsbury’s, they’ve had to reset all the checkouts overnight.” In Dexerto’s review of Prime, we wrote that “with Prime Hydration’s brightly colored bottles, Logan Paul and KSI are doing their best to stand out in a crowded market, but where the drinks really deliver is the full-flavored taste.”

Pregnant mother “traumatized” after being kicked off plane for asking for more overhead space – Dexerto
Pregnant mother “traumatized” after being kicked off plane for asking for more overhead space Facebook: Siobhan FosterA seven-months-pregnant mother was left “traumatized” after being kicked off her flight for asking if there was any more room in the plane’s overhead bins. If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately, you’ll know that airplanes have been rife with drama of all kinds over the past several months. From a person having diarrhea so bad that their plane was grounded to a woman going viral for claiming that one of her fellow passengers “wasn’t real” in a shocking rant, it seems like flights can bring out the worst in us (both literally and figuratively). However, one woman’s story is sending the internet for a loop after she claimed she was kicked off her flight for asking for a simple accommodation. Pregnant woman feared “early labor” after being kicked off flight Siobhan Foster was seven months along when she boarded an EasyJet flight headed to Ibiza for her brother’s wedding on August 19. Along with her were her husband, James Foster, and their special-needs daughter, Florence. After boarding the plane, Foster claims she asked a flight attendant if there was any more room in the overhead bins — but her response shocked her. “Her reply was a sharp, ‘Clearly not,’ so I asked, ‘Could you help me find somewhere?” she wrote in a Facebook post. “Her reply: ‘You’ll need to find somewhere yourself,’ even though there literally was nowhere.” “So I said, ‘Can you please help me? I’m heavily pregnant and my husband has our daughter.’ Her response was, ‘ You’re being abusive and it’s not my job to help you.’” Foster then claims that she and her family were asked to deboard after she was verbally abused by the flight attendant, who allegedly screamed at her, causing her to cry. After another hour, the entire plane was asked to leave — videos of which show other passengers sticking up for her. Foster stated that police were waiting for them when they returned to the airport and told the family that under no circumstances would they be allowed back on the plane, saying it was EasyJet’s decision, not theirs. The mom even claimed she was so stressed out that she feared she’d go into early labor. “That whole day we were in Belfast airport from 1 lunchtime to 9 that night with our child,” Foster wrote. “My legs were so swollen and sore with being on them all this time. I was crying uncontrollably that this was happening to us for no reason whatsoever. I’m so traumatized to the point I don’t know how I’ll ever fly again.” Luckily, Foster was able to make it to the wedding in spite of the massive delay and ‘traumatic’ experience. This is just the latest airplane-related incident to take the net by storm after a mom demanded a passenger stop watching Game of Thrones as her child could see his screen.

Pregnant Rihanna lookalike goes viral for causing chaos in Brazil – Dexerto
Pregnant Rihanna lookalike goes viral for causing chaos in Brazil Instagram: badgalriri / Priscilla Beatrice TikTokThrongs of people crowded around a pregnant woman in Brazil, expecting it to be Rihanna, only for viral social media posts to reveal it was actually local TikToker Priscilla Beatrice, best known for her work as a Rihanna lookalike. Meeting The Right Excellent Rihanna is a once-in-a-lifetime event for fans across the world. The iconic superstar has made headlines time and again with nothing but the tiniest of interactions, and for hundreds of fans in Brazil dreams had been believed to come true. TikTok lookalike Priscilla Beatrice has been making solid use of her similarities to the National Hero of Barbados for a couple of years now. Earning herself 2.4 million followers on TikTok and 244k on Instagram in the process. Making national news in Brazil, Priscilla has taken the entertainment world for a hilarious ride, taking photos with fans, offering hugs, and even letting some dedicated few kiss her pregnant belly. https://twitter.com/6ixgloss/status/1508137628239122440 Public opinion from those not taken in by the more than passing similarities between Priscilla and Rihanna are divided. More than a few people have been publicly calling out the spectacle. Repeatedly saying it’s “weird af”. Not just for the lookalike herself, but for the commitment to rolling with a security posse.: “The people pretending to be security guards are weirder.” Offering depths to this that perhaps weren’t considered at first, there are also people defending the lookalike and the actions of the group, with the logical premise “I don’t think they’re pretending. They’re actually working to protect the fake Rihanna.” This isn’t the first time Priscilla has come into the spotlight for her commonalities with the nine-time Grammy award winner. Back in 2020 BadGalRiRi herself found Beatrice’s TikTok, taking the time to have a playful jab at the doppelganger: “Where the album sis #R9.” View this post on Instagram It’s unknown whether Rihanna is aware of this instance of the lookalike making waves in Brazil in such a public manner. But, never one to shy away from public chaos, there’s every possibility that RiRi is loving the anarchy. All we can safely assume about the proceedings at this point is that if Priscilla is trending off of the Fenty name, and making a decent living off of it, then Rihanna’s probably got a handle of it in some way. In the words of the singer herself, Beatrice better have her money.

Pregnant mom of 3 under fire after simply “praying for a healthy baby” – Dexerto
Pregnant mom of 3 under fire after simply “praying for a healthy baby” Instagram: kimperrycoA pregnant mom of 3 came under fire after posting an Instagram reel in which she stated she didn’t care about the gender and was simply “praying for a healthy baby”. It has long been considered the norm for expecting parents to want the best for their children, including wishing for good health and well-being. However, in this age of social media, everything and anything is open to criticism. A Florida mom found this out the hard way after posting a seemingly innocent Instagram reel that resulted in an onslaught of backlash. Already a mother of three girls and expecting her fourth child, Kimberly Lecuryer shared on Instagram that she was “ignoring everyone” who hoped for her to have a boy this time, saying she was only “praying for a healthy baby”. “Girl mom of 3. Do I want a boy? Absolutely! Would [I] be mad if I had a 4th girl? Not at all,” Lecuyer wrote in the caption of her Instagram reel. “Healthy Baby is the goal.” But her video quickly came under fire, with viewers focusing on her desire for a healthy baby and labeling the mom as an “ableist”. “Mom of an unhealthy kid here to say that those babies are equally valuable and worthy of love,” one person wrote. Another said, “Whatever ‘healthy’ means? If it’s not ‘healthy,’ then your prayers won’t be answered? How is ableism different from being sex-selective?” Following the backlash and attention Lecuyer’s video received, many came to her defense and argued that her desire for a healthy baby was what “all parents want” for their children. “Who HOPES for an unhealthy child? Like who finds out they’re pregnant [and] immediately thinks ‘ohh I hope my child has [health] issues that affect their quality of life.’ Who WANTS that for their child?!” one person wrote. “Please let this woman enjoy her pregnancy in peace. This was stupid.” “Should she just pray for her child to be born alive? Or will people then attack her for offending parents who have had stillborn children?” Another questioned. “This is a rabbit hole for sure. Y’all need to stop.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Prank YouTuber Tanner Cook shot at mall after practical joke goes wrong – Dexerto
Prank YouTuber Tanner Cook shot at mall after practical joke goes wrong YouTube: WUSA9Up-and-coming prank YouTuber Tanner Cook was shot at a Virginia mall after one of his practical jokes took a serious turn. 21-year-old Tanner Cook is a YouTuber who specializes in pranks. His channel, named ‘Classified Goons,’ boasts over 38,000 subscribers and features a swath of practical jokes played by himself and a buddy on unsuspecting passersby. From “fake vomiting on Uber drivers” to “taking rackets from tennis players,” it seems like there’s nothing the Classified Goons won’t do for a good prank… but one of their stunts went awry in the worst way possible. Over the weekend, Cook was pulling more practical jokes in the Dulles Town Center mall in Sterling, Virginia when a scuffle reportedly broke out between the YouTuber and a shopper at the food court. YouTube prankster shot after practical joke goes awry As a result, Cook was shot by the shopper, receiving “serious” injuries to his stomach and liver. Luckily, Cook is alive and recovering in the hospital after spending a day in the intensive care unit. Loudoun County officials charged the shooter with “aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm within a building.” In a statement to WUSA9, Cook claimed that the shooter didn’t take his prank “very well” while he was shooting his video — which is now evidence in the ongoing investigation. “I was playing a prank and a simple practical joke, and this guy didn’t take it very well,” Cook said. “He didn’t say anything to me.” This is far from the first time a YouTube prank has gone wrong; in fact, two YouTubers ended up getting sued by the University of Southern California after pretending to be part of the mafia for a joke. Even the NELK Boys’ Kyle Forgeard ended up getting arrested in Dallas, Texas after pulling a prank where he impersonated a security officer back in 2021.

Tre went inside to get the homeless man the food he asked for and quickly brought it back outside. Instead of giving it to him, however, Tre began eating the food. Many believe the video is staged but has received a fair bit of backlash since it began to go viral. People were quick to share their thoughts about the video on Twitter. “He just made sure his career will never take off,” one user replied. Another viewer said: “I’m not so sure this is real, but stuff like this does actually happen to those experiencing homelessness and it’s incredibly sad.” While a third responded: “Hmm, seems like people will do anything and everything for a little fame. Looks like all morals and dignity get thrown out of the window.” For more entertainment news and other viral stories, head over to check out our coverage.

Prank YouTuber refuses to apologize for buying homeless man food & then eating it – Dexerto
Prank YouTuber refuses to apologize for buying homeless man food & then eating it Instagram: Tre SellersAfter coming under fire for a prank where he pretended to buy a meal for a homeless man, YouTuber ‘whatsuptre’ is doubling down on his video. Pranks on YouTube become newsworthy either for being hilarious or shocking. In the case of whatsuptre, his viral video sparked massive backlash from viewers. On April 24, Tre posted a video where he went inside a Wendy’s, presumably to buy a meal for a homeless man outside. However, when he returned with the food, the YouTuber began eating in front of the man, in a stunt that seemed to cruel to be real. After public backlash came down on Tre, he has now spoken up and maintains that he has done nothing wrong. YouTuber admits the prank was staged Tre took to Instagram to clear the air after the negativity surrounding this viral video, where he refused to apologize while also admitting that the whole stunt was fake. “For people who did not read my description on my last video, the burger Wendy’s video with the homeless guy was fake,” he began before explaining that the man, whose name is Israel, agreed to be in the video. In fact, Tre said that he did buy Israel some food when the skit was done, so at least the homeless man did get a meal for his troubles. Tre went on to admit that everything Israel said in the video was scripted. As a result, Tre maintained that he would not apologize for the fake video just because some viewers were offended. Responding to those who understood that the video was scripted, but were still offended that it was a joke in poor taste, Tre had this to say: “I don’t care it’s like watching a tv show, you don’t like the role, you don’t like the script? Then don’t watch it!” Despite his explanation, it seems that Tre is still getting some heat in the comments from those who are still not fans of the stunt. “It’s not about it being fake. It was a terrible ideal and I think the public is mad because “fake or not” it’s the fact he actually found some type of humor in doing something like that,” one commenter said on Twitter. Others simply bashed Tre for the skit not being funny. “Cancel homie. That “prank” was [trash emoji]. I didn’t laugh once.” Whatever your feelings on Tre are for his prank video, the important thing is that the homeless man in question wasn’t taken advantage of and got a meal out of it. While it’s not the most altruistic use of an influencer’s platform, Tre shouldn’t get hate for doing harm when it was just a prank (bro).

Streamer Pqueen begs Twitch for help after viewers hack address & phone number – Dexerto
Streamer Pqueen begs Twitch for help after viewers hack address & phone number Twitch: PqueenPopular Turkish streamer Pelin ‘pqueen’ Baynazoğlu is begging Twitch to take action against several hackers in her chat who have leaked her home address and phone number amid the platform’s ongoing Bits scam issue. The popular content creator, who streams from Turkey, has called for Amazon to act after several Twitch chatters seized her home address and phone number. The hack came while she was talking about the ongoing Twitch Bits controversy that is sweeping through the Turkish scene. During last month’s Twitch data leak, it was revealed a number of Turkey’s popular streamers — reportedly more than 2,400 all up — were involved in a money-laundering scheme. Pqueen, who is a Twitch partner and long-time streamer, has now become embroiled in the issue and claims a number of Twitch users have stolen information, including her address and phone number, in a bid to stop her discussing the controversy. The 29-year-old has turned to Twitch for help, begging the streaming giant to block the profiles that keep sharing her details and protect her information better. Pqueen revealed she had become the target of the Turkish Twitch users on Nov. 4, explaining on Twitter in Turkish (translated by Dexerto) that they have been donating Bits with her private details listed in the messages. The donations are revealing details to all viewers, she said. “They are sharing my home address and phone number by throwing [translation] Bits because I was talking to those involved in the Bits controversy on my live broadcast,” she said, before turning her attention to Twitch. “What is Twitch planning to do? I’m really nervous [about what they might do]. “I can prevent them in my own chat, but what if they share it [somewhere]?” the Turkish stream queen continued. “What if they come and send it when my broadcast is offline. What if they come to my house?” The star followed up her Twitch demands with a more targeted message directed at the hackers: “May Allah have mercy on my enemies, because I will not.” https://twitter.com/pqueenn/status/1456065069268312064 The Turkish Twitch community has been demanding the Amazon-owned platform take wider action for some time now too. Pqueen is just one of many popular streamers leading the #temizTwitch (#cleanTwitch) campaign against the money launderers. Late last month, Twitch told Middle East Eye, that the platform was “taking efforts to combat and prevent financial fraud on Twitch on a regular basis,” and claimed that “in September alone [Twitch] took action against more than 150 partners in Turkey for abuse of the platform’s monetization tools.” As of publication, Twitch admins have not responded to Baynazoglu’s more personal calls for help. Dexerto has contacted the Turkish star for further details.

Poundland brawl goes viral as security guard tackles shoplifter – Dexerto
Poundland brawl goes viral as security guard tackles shoplifter A video of an alleged shoplifter being tackled to the ground has gone viral on Twitter. Viewers were left in shock as security guards dragged the man out of the store. The video has been mocked by users, saying the guards gave “a new meaning to Poundland.” Supermarket scraps tend to go viral often, whether it’s a “brawl” over toilet paper or a man acting up in a Spiderman costume. This time, shoppers gathered round to witness a man being apprehended in Sheffield, UK. One particular bystander shot a video of the scene, in which the man seemingly stole countless tubes of Jaffa Cakes. As a result, eyewitnesses encouraged the security guards to “dash him out.” Twitter account News For All posted the video on August 26. At the time of writing, the clip has amassed over 800k views. https://twitter.com/NewsForAllUK/status/1430910460153397250?s=20 The man appeared to be shoplifting snacks While the video begins with the man already on the floor, the fight was surrounded by stray biscuit boxes. He then attempted to reach for the boxes before being dragged out of the exit. The security guard told the culprit to “get the f**k out,” while the cameraperson followed. The alleged shoplifter called the security guard a “b****rd” before attempting to hit him. He was then wrestled back to the ground as eyewitnesses cheered. Twitter users poked fun at the situation One user said the trio were fighting over “the ultimate question: is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit?” Another said there was “a lot to unpack here,” while someone replied, “a lot to re-shelve here.” Others expressed their concerns for the man in question. “(The security guard) threw him to the floor… for no reason other than to look like the big man,” one Tweeted. “Welcome to Britain,” said another. “Where people have to steal to eat and people on minimum wage battle to stop them.” The staff should not use that level of force on people. He threw him to the floor outside for no reason other than to look like the big man. Hope he’s charge with assault. — Will (@willlondon87) August 26, 2021 There hasn’t yet been any update on what caused the fight, or whether the man attempted to get back in again. Thankfully, no security guards were harmed in the making of that video!

PowerGPU swatted live during ‘Operation Giveback’ charity Twitch stream Twitter: PowerGPUPopular prebuilt PC company ‘PowerGPU’ was swatted during their ‘Operation Giveback’ charity stream on Twitch. Back in March, Artesian Builds was called out by multiple Twitch streamers for shady giveaway practices and as it went viral, the company went under — leaving thousands of orders unfulfilled with no easy way for customers to receive refunds. A few weeks later, PowerGPU came to the rescue with ‘Operation Giveback’ in partnership with a wide variety of PC part-manufacturers to provide 50 PCs to those affected by Artesian Builds going under. On May 31, PowerGPU was swatted live on stream while building PCs for the charity campaign. The company quickly took to Twitter to explain that their team is okay, and that police are searching the building. We are all fine. The team is on the side of the street waiting. Whoever called it in just remember this does not stop us. You will just have to sit there and watch us move forward. — PowerGPU (@PowerGPU) May 31, 2022 In the hours following the incident, PowerGPU connected with the appropriate authorities and is now actively working to find the person responsible. They could also enlist Twitch’s help in putting the entire puzzle together. If anyone has a Twitch contact that can help can you please refer them to @PowerGPU as they are now working with a detective to find the swatter who targeted them. Thank you. — Jake Lucky (@JakeSucky) May 31, 2022 If you’d like to check out their partners, as well as how to donate towards the cause, head over to the Operation Giveback website. As well, if you are an affected customer of Artesian Builds, the bottom of the site offers an application form for you to apply for a PC of your own.

Potential date for KSI vs Logan Paul rematch sees surprising development – Dexerto
Potential date for KSI vs Logan Paul rematch sees surprising development Hollywood Life / Wired UKPopular YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul are gearing up for a boxing rematch, following their initial bout in August 2018. While a potential date for their rematch was supposedly leaked, sources are now citing evidence to the contrary. Upload Agency founder Stuart Jones, organizer of both the initial fight and the upcoming rematch, has since decried any claims of a concrete date in a simple Tweet on December 28. When asked about the potential date set for February 27, 2019, Jones responded by saying, “Not true.” This date was leaked by UK gambling site Bet365, which is already taking bets for the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch with a projected date of February 27. However, many speculated this to be a mere placeholder date, as Logan Paul stated that KSI has yet to choose a concrete date for their bout in an episode of his ‘imPaulsive’ podcast in late November. KSI’s trainer appeared to confirm the lack of a set date, stating that organizers were looking for a date in April or May rather than December or February. He likewise claimed that Logan Paul hoped to push the date to December 2018, to “get it out of the way,” but ultimately doubted the possibility of such a quick schedule. https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/ksi-vs-logan-paul-rematch-date-possibly-leaked-267727 A leaked image of the contract shows that the second fight was to take place “prior to February 2019,” with the TBC location on U.S. soil. If true, it appears that the terms of the initial contract have been broken; although we’re not sure if KSI actually has to forfeit a portion of his ticket sales, or not. https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/ksis-trainer-reveals-potential-rematch-date-with-logan-paul-175736
