She boasts over 3.6 million followers, and has become known for her down-to-earth and relaxed streams. However, on December 20, the 23-year-old was left scratching her head as she tried to work out how to close her blinds in order to stop the sun from ruining her setup, as well as inhibiting her from seeing her screens. Anys was only a few minutes into her stream and was trying to ensure her setup was as viewer-friendly as it could be. However, the Californian sun proved problematic, glaring obnoxiously into her eyes. Poki proceeded to mess around with her blinds, but couldn’t work out how to tighten them sufficiently. On her trip, she enjoyed plenty foreign delicacies, eating out in fine Parisian restaurants, but nothing could prepare her for the culinary tricks that Fedmyster had planned. Both Pokimane and Fedmyster are members of ‘Offline TV‘, a group which also features other popular streamers and YouTubers like LilyPichu and DisguisedToast. The pair stay together, based in California, and Fed is often guilty of playing pranks on Pokimane as she streams, but his latest is perhaps the cruelest yet. As he approaches Anys, he instructs her to close her eyes and open her mouth, and Pokimane obliges – but would soon regret it – after Fedmyster placed the dead grasshopper in her mouth and told her to chew. Several members of the Twitch content group, including Lilypichu and Yvonne, detailed how Gaytan would “come to [their] room, drunk” and “massage [their] feet and thighs.” Yvonne also revealed he had “crawled in bed” with her, kissed her cheek, and put his hand up her shirt. These accusations were compounded when Pokimane claimed Fed had been a “big reason” why she moved out of the house. Fedmyster was subsequently expelled from the OfflineTV house, and removed from the company. After months of silence from the Twitch streamer, a document leaked online on Nov. 24, which mainly detailed Fed’s relationship with Pokimane. In the unreleased exposé titled “My Truth”, which Dexerto has read copies of, Gaytan, 25, accused Pokimane of “twisting the truth” about their relationship. Pokimane has now hit back, speaking about the leaked document in a short Twitch stream on Wednesday. In her response, she suggests Fedmyster sent her an “admission of guilt” in regards to his “manipulative” actions. Fedmyster allegedly sent Pokimane “admission of guilt” Anys, who admitted she’s already seen several versions of the Fedmyster document, doubled down on her previous June 29 claims. According to the Twitch star, Fed’s claim to a potential hookup, Steve, that they were “a thing” was the best example of his manipulation. “I want to make it clear that, to me, this incident [with Steve] was clearly a mess-up on Fed’s part. I confronted Fed, he apologized… he admitted fault,” she said. Pokimane revealed she messaged Fedmyster ahead of her ‘tell-all’ stream in June, asking if there was anything she “should maybe leave out.” When Gaytan requested she skip over the incident with Steve at the party, however, she refused. “He said ‘if you can… leave out the Steve stuff, it’s something I wouldn’t like mentioned.’ I couldn’t leave that out. However, now and again, they sometimes have to take matters into their own hands and show their moderators how things are done when viewers get a little out of hand. That was the case during Pokimane’s February 8 stream, as she was interrupted by a rude viewer. Fainted’s video focused on Pokimane’s on-stream conversation with a YouTuber named ‘davcev’, who admitted to using her content and sensationalist titles to attract viewers to his channel. Pokimane was criticized for claiming she would file copyright strikes on Davcev’s channel, as well as displaying and mocking his instagram page live on her stream. Pokimane responded to both Fainted and PewDiePie’s video later, but some fans were not satisfied that she had addressed all the criticisms made, and so had now completed an interview with Fainted himself. The pair discuss various issues which they had with each other’s video, as Pokimane attempts to touch on any points made in the ‘Dark Side’ video she missed, including the debate around showing the Instagram page on stream. Pokimane claims, contrary to popular belief, that her fans did not in fact brigade Davcev’s profile with hate comments, as Fainted suggested they would. “Nobody, as far as I know, I checked some of his pics, and none of my viewers said anything to him. Following the short ban, Greek would stream again and even found his way onto xQc’s channel. A heated argument between the two streamers broke out with Greek and X hurling insults at one another. The near hour and a half-long discussion on July 8 would become a spectacle as many streamers weighed in with their own opinions. Offering her own criticisms was Pokimane who thought Greek’s head was getting a bit too big. Pokimane weighs in on xQc and Greek drama During one of the more complex topics of their discussion, xQc and Greek argued how a person with no legs could better find happiness. X argued that happiness could be found by staying inside and while Greek claimed happiness was made by going out and winning gold medals. Watching the conversation back, Pokimane stated they both made solid points that she agreed with. However, Greek’s attitude when discussing his side led her to criticize his side more. Greek stated if people with no legs were to live life like him, they would be winning Olympic medals. To which Poki stated, “There’s no f**king way he thinks so highly of himself. Pokimane admitted Fedmyster spent much of their friendship “manipulating [her] without her knowing,” and making sure he controlled the narrative around her relationships, friends in the house, and “all of [her] personal life.” “Although I hadn’t had any major issues with Fed since moving into the new house, I was still not entirely happy and felt a lot of pent-up resentment for him,” Pokimane explained in a short June 28 broadcast addressing the ongoing situation. “I felt the only proper and unproblematic way for me to deal with my emotions was to move out. There were a lot of reasons… [but] Fed was a big pushing force, but I do still mean all the other things I said too. Was he a part of that though? Yes.” Pokimane revealed Gaytan would “tell other guys [she was dating him]” so that they would “back off,” and in one instance even told a date Anys had brought to an OTV party that they were an item, but that “no one could know about it.” “He would lie a lot. I had a lot of trust issues with him over the years,” Pokimane continued, “and we would fight a lot about things. If he was in the wrong, he would ignore my existence in the house. He would literally refuse to acknowledge me.” During some of these times, Anys would confront Fedmyster, she said, to “try and sort things out,” but he would continue to ignore. On top of that, he would lie about the situation to their friends and colleagues, so that she would “sound really crazy” and “in the wrong.” It wasn’t until Pokimane sat down with the rest of the Offline TV members, including Yvonne and LilyPichu, that she discussed “the extent of what Fed had actually been doing” all these years “behind [her] back.” “I became aware of the fact he would lie about me a lot, and create narratives in his favor that would insinuate a lot of negative things about me. This drove everyone around me away, and it’s baffling that I only just found this out.” “It’s really hard for me to explain how bad it feels to find out the person I was closest to, and the person I shared how badly I wanted these friendships with, was the same person who was actually isolating me and sabotaging these friendships for me,” she continued. “I don’t know if that was his intention, I’d like to think it was more a careless or inconsiderate thing, but ultimately he drove everyone around me away from me. “I started freaking crying at the intervention, and after, just out of mourning for all the years of friendships I lost because of him. He was the first person I trusted, and the last person I expected to act like this towards me, and around me.” Fedmyster first joined Offline TV in 2017 as production editor but wasn’t officially made part of the content team until 2018. He has now been removed from the entertainment group. Pokimane moved out on June 19. She has not made it clear whether she is reconsidering returning to the Offline TV house following Fed’s removal. Just weeks later, True Geordie took shots at Tate, and used his faith against him in what the Brit called an “idiotic joke.” The joke itself suggested that Tate should “do the right thing,” implying from an earlier comment that he should “blow himself up.” Several days later, the clip itself started going viral, with Tate also responding to Geordie’s comments, accusing him of making racist remarks and that “you’re going to learn very quickly that was a mistake.” In the following days, after the situation went viral, Geordie posted an apology video that drew some derision from viewers as he asked for subscribers and likes at the end, with some also accusing him of “acting like the victim” in the scenario. According to Instagram, the photo’s caption about being a “sugar momma” was a big issue as it went against its “adult sexual solicitation guidelines.” In a screenshot, Pokimane revealed that the platform told her they “don’t allow people to facilitate, encourage or coordinate sexual activity on Instagram.” It went on to list several examples such as filming sexual activities or asking for nude images. According to Wesley, Mars brought his own special deck to the game that allowed him to see cards, along with a dealer, and two other players with him. Poker player allegedly cheated by using see-through deck PokerNews reports that Mars last played at the game back in October, and Wesley had lost a whopping $1M in the game while Mars and his crew are up $3.1 million. “After a game we found a cheating deck. The deck is a very good cheating deck that you can’t find. But we went to a very dark room and we used a blue light and then you can see the numbers on the back of the deck,” Wesley explained. Nik Airball added to the allegations in a post on X/Twitter, claiming that Mars brought a mechanic dealer to the poker games in addition to the deck. In text messages from October 14, Mars said that he would bring some decks, but has repeatedly denied cheating when confronted. “Maybe you’re losing and you don’t want to pay so you’re changing the deck,” Wesley recalled Mars’ response when the evidence was presented. “If we are cheating, how can we lose?” However, Wesley says this special deck can’t be purchased at a store and Mars was deliberately cheating during the private games. “It’s a new deck, and Mars admits this deck is never our game’s deck. The text message showed, ‘I can bring the deck to you.’” So far, Mars has yet to respond to the allegations, but this is hardly the first poker scandal to blow up. On Thursday, Hustler Casino tweeted an update on the ongoing investigation as the controversy surrounding the poker hand gained mainstream attention. Investigation finds employee stole Robbi Jade Lew poker chips In the message, it was revealed that High Stakes Poker Productions had assembled a team of “experts” to investigate the hand and look into their security protocols and technology. They say the investigation will also aim to see if any evidence exists of players using technology to cheat in streamed games and how secure their protocols are. High Stakes Poker Productions also said that it plans to be transparent with its findings, revealing that some shady activities took place after the broadcast had ended. According to the report, while reviewing video footage, investigators spotted Bryan Sagbigsal, an employee of HSPP, taking $15,000 worth of chips from Robbi Jade Lew’s stack. Sagbigsal admitted to this and was subsequently fired and the Gardena Police were contacted. However, Lew does not wish to press charges so there will not be a criminal prosecution. Hustler Casino offered to reimburse Robbi for the stolen funds. In any case, the investigation is still ongoing and it remains to be seen if there really were any cases of cheating live on stream. Poker caster hilariously tricks 1000 viewers into closing the stream Poker commentator Joe Stapleton pulled off an incredible prank on 1000 viewers during a tournament on January 15. Stapleton is currently casting at the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure tournament, and managed to trick users during the fourth day of the competition. The prank is a well known one amongst experienced internet users, but the commentator managed to deceive a large number of those watching the event to close their browser. While casting over a match featuring player Brian Altman, Stapleton told viewers that if they were a fan of the American, they should show their support “by using the special Brian Altman emote on Twitch” by pressing the Alt and F4 keys on their keyboard. When the Alt and F4 keys are pressed together, it actually closes the window, with the stream immediately dropping by 1000 viewers. Stapleton couldn’t believe how many fell for it, laughing and saying “That can’t be true, we’ll never get them back!” While many would apologise and try not cost their stream any more viewers, Stapleton took a different approach, attempting to bait those watching into doing it again. “Earlier, I told everybody in Twitch chat that if they want to use the special Brian Altman emote they need to press Alt and F4, and we lost 1000 viewers. Guys, the emote offends a lot of people, it’s really gnarly – so don’t hit Alt and F4 for the emote.” The Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure tournament is heading into its final day, with a $10,300 main event scheduled for the last broadcast.
