PewDiePie debates the best meme of the decade With the decade coming to a close, there’s a lot to look back on from across culture, but the golden age of memes has stolen the show, and YouTuber PewDiePie is starting to debate the ‘memes of the decade’. Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is somewhat of a meme connoisseur, and his incredibly popular ‘Meme Review’ show has been seen as the arbiter of the internet’s sense of humor. His fans joke that he can ‘kill’ memes simply by giving them a negative review. So, as the decade comes to a close, it’s only right that the chief umpire of meme culture debate the greatest memes of the last ten years, and he’s already struck out two contenders. While perusing the incredibly popular ‘dank memes’ subreddit in his December 27 video, PewDiePie came across two possible candidates for meme of the decade, but he wasn’t impressed by either. First, he batted down the suggestion that the “surprise motherf**ker” line delivered by Eric King’s character in Dexter could be the top meme of the last ten years. “No, it’s not meme of the decade,” Pewds concluded, “don’t even try it. Surprise yourself back to dead land, because you don’t belong.” The second possible contender is a late entry, as some have suggested that the new ‘Baby Yoda’ from The Mandalorian series could already have taken the top spot. Even Elon Musk, who once appeared to host an episode of Meme Review, has shown himself to be a fan of Baby Yoda memes, but it’s safe to say that PewDiePie is not. “I like Baby Yoda, and I like the Mandalorian,” Kjellberg explains, “but, I realized, I don’t mind Baby Yoda, I just don’t like the memes. They’re bad, they’re so bad.” Topic starts at 5:08 As for being meme of the decade, PewDiePie says Baby Yoda has no chance: “How do people unironically think [Baby Yoda is meme of the decade]? How did they come to that conclusion? I am so confused.” It remains to be seen if PewDiePie will put his thoughts together in a full video to decide the ultimate meme of the decade before the year is out. But, with so many countless memes to choose from, just narrowing it down to a single list could be impossible. With the next decade looming, it’s impossible to even imagine how memes will evolve, but PewDiePie will surely be there to guide us all through it.

PewDiePie criticizes YouTube’s creator burnout after reaching 8 year milestone – Dexerto
PewDiePie criticizes YouTube’s creator burnout after reaching 8 year milestone PewDiePie, YouTube / CoCoBodyCoYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg manages to upload videos on a near-daily basis – which has him humorously skeptical of other YouTubers’ burnout in the space. PewDiePie commented on the issue during an episode of ‘LWIAY’ on March 16, where he poked fun at other creators’ exhaustion due to creating content. “You know how all these other YouTubers go, ‘Oh guys, I’ve been making videos for three years every single day, boo hoo!’” he joked. He went on to note that he has been uploading videos for over eight years and ten months – 3,244 days, in fact. Read More: YouTube tattoo artist Romeo Lacoste accused of sending inappropriate messages to underage fans – “Eight years!” he continued. “I don’t take breaks!” Although he was joking, this isn’t the first time PewDiePie has been critical of creator burnout – he likewise took shots at popular YouTuber Lilly Singh in late 2018, after she announced a hiatus to look after her mental health. “I’m getting a little annoyed by it,” he said of the issue. “I’m not gonna lie. It’s like, shut up. Shut up, children. Just take a break.” He went on to speculate that Singh was taking a break to draw attention to her channel, and questioned if she were happy with the content she was making at the time. However, Felix also advised creators faced with burnout to step away from the platform – even if they were worried about losing subscribers due to a lack of activity. PewDiePie is currently in the midst of a subscriber battle with Bollywood label T-Series, and was even briefly overtaken by the channel. Thanks to his loyal fanbase, the YouTuber has managed to pull ahead for nearly six months – and has reached a whopping 89 million subscribers in the process.

PewDiePie crushes another major YouTube milestone on road to 100 million subscribers – Dexerto
PewDiePie crushes another major YouTube milestone on road to 100 million subscribers PewDiePie/UnsplashYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is so close to that jaw-dropping figure of 100 million subscribers that he can almost touch it, after passing another major milestone. Since 2010, the Swede has been the leading solo YouTuber on the platform, racking up multi-million views with whatever he uploads – be it a Minecraft video where he’s amassing an army of farm animals or even his own music video. Despite losing his year-long war with T-Series for sole possession of the YouTube throne, Pewds has marched on regardless and continued to amass subscribers on his quest to become the first solo channel with 100 million subscribers. Now, he is inching ever-so-close to that major milestone after breaking yet another incredible figure. On August 13, PewDiePie eclipsed the 99 million subscribers mark after over 80,000 new accounts flocked to his channel. Yet, his channel’s growth hasn’t slowed and he’s already surging past the huge number. According to SocialBlade, a stat-tracking website for all major social media platforms, over 142,000 new subscribers arrived on the Swede’s account after he broke the major milestone – standing him in good stead for finally reaching 100 million. Getting ever closer to that 100 million subscribers mark is not only an amazing achievement, especially for an individual-run channel, but great news for his fans. Back on August 12, the internet superstar promised his fans that he would partake in a 12-hour long Minecraft stream once he hit the magic number. However, the wait for said stream is set to go on for a little while longer yet, as the Swede will likely not hit the incredible milestone for some time. SocialBlade projected him to cross over the 100 million threshold on August 14, and with that day coming and passing, the YouTuber still needs around 860,000 new subscribers to match the mark already surpassed by T-Series. As ever, we will continue to update you on his growth, especially as and when he finally breaks the next absurd milestone and cements himself in the YouTube history books once and for all.

PewDiePie cringes at Logan Paul & KSI’s early YouTube videos – Dexerto
PewDiePie cringes at Logan Paul & KSI’s early YouTube videos YouTube: PewDiePie / Instagram: LoganPaulIn a recent Youtube video, PewDiePie and CinnamonToastKen took a trip down memory lane, reacting to the first-ever videos many famous YouTubers. Two particular figures that got a big reaction from the pair were Logan Paul and KSI. PewDiePie uploaded a video last week called Old YouTube that was kinda crazy. Alongside fellow content creator and friend CinnamonToastKen, PewDiePie did a deep dive on the YouTube accounts of some well-known content creators. The two watched through the clips, some dating back well over 10 years, and gave their thoughts on the content and reminisced on the old school YouTube days. Of the YouTubers they chose to react to, the first on the list was Logan Paul. Brothers Logan and Jake Paul are massive internet personalities and now dabble in a variety of things. From boxing and podcasting to videos, the brothers have well and truly cemented their status online. And while he may have expanded his work now, Logan Paul got his big break from the various prank videos he would create and upload to YouTube in the late 2000s and early 2010s. When reacting to Logan Paul’s early YouTube content, PewDiePie and Ken found a video from way back in 2008. In the YouTube video, a young Logan Paul was simply filming himself making prank calls. Their immediate reaction was to comment on how young Paul looks. PewDiePie & CinnamonToastKen stunned by young Logan Paul & KSI “Jesus Christ, he’s a baby,” began Ken when Logan’s face first appeared on the screen. PewDiePie laughed but then agreed with Ken, stating that Logan is “really small.” He then went on to critique Logan’s appearance and compare his 2008 look with Logan’s. “I didn’t look like this in 2008 that’s for sure.” And in a joking way, PewDiePie declared that he prefers this Logan, not gonna lie.” The two also looked through the early content of KSI and reacted to a video that Ken describes as “a YouTube poop video.” KSI is a well know English YouTuber and rapper. He uploads videos of his music regularly and often finds himself in the center of drama when it comes to his interactions with fellow influences. He has faced Logan Paul in a boxing match and collaborates with various other personalities on podcasts. The KSI video is him thanking his fans for getting him to 20,000 subscribers, which PewDiepIe quickly comments on as being an “enormous” amount for early YouTubers. He then went on to add that, “20k back in the day was f***ing huge.” After going through Logan’s video, the two then went on to react to early videos from the likes of Zendaya and many more. To then finally wrap up and bring it full circle, Ken and Felix did react to their own early videos, cringing and laughing at how far they’ve come from such humble beginnings.

PewDiePie cringes at Pokimane’s “uncomfortable” streaming setup – Dexerto
PewDiePie cringes at Pokimane’s “uncomfortable” streaming setup YouTube/PewDiePie/Instagram/PokimaneYouTube king PewDiePie took aim at Pokimane’s Twitch streaming setup in a new video, where he viewed the homes of some big-name celebrities. PewDiePie is no stranger to ripping on YouTuber and Twitch streamers for their homes and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys proved to be no exception, but he felt especially concerned over her setup. On August 19, PewDiePie watched a video from Pokimane where she showed off her streaming setup. While the video itself was from July and the Canadian has since moved houses, that didn’t stop PewDiePie from vocalizing his problems with the setup. After viewing a closet full of shoes and clothes and a makeup area, the YouTuber was at a loss for words with how to proceed. PewDiePie roasts Pokimane’s setup “This is so girly, how do I judge this?” he wondered. Luckily, when Pokimane showed off her streaming area, he found his rhythm. First, he took a big issue with Pokimane’s display setup, claiming it looked “so uncomfortable” with the monitors being very far away. “That’s the tiniest little baby display! Come on! Get a big display,” he cringed before showing his own ultra-wide monitor for comparison. He was also extremely put off by Pokimane’s cables running behind her desk. “Oh God, the cable management!” he groaned. “I’m sorry, you lost setup privilege.” Finally, he mocked the box Pokimane was using as a footstool under her desk, suggesting she just buy an actual footstool instead, going as far as to show some for sale on Amazon. While PewDiePie wasn’t super mean or bombastic in his roast, it’s clear he wasn’t a fan of her cable management or monitors at all. Hopefully, Pokimane can take the Pewd’s advice and improve her streaming room with some of his suggestions for the next time she decides to do a tour video.

PewDiePie trolls CinnamonToastKen with lewd Minecraft masterpiece – Dexerto
PewDiePie trolls CinnamonToastKen with lewd Minecraft masterpiece YouTube: PewDiePie / Mojang / MicrosoftDuring Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s latest episode of Minecraft on September 25, the YouTube king surprised his friend ‘CinnamonToastKen’ by unveiling a lewd masterpiece he’d built in Creative mode. While the majority of PewDiePie’s Minecraft series has been his solo adventures, the YouTube star will sometimes branch off to do co-op with friends, and try out the different modes in the popular sandbox game. In his latest episode, Pewds teamed up with fellow YouTuber Ken ‘CinammonToastKen’ Morrison and threw down the gauntlet by challenging him to a Minecraft ‘Creative Battle’, but the Swede surprised him when his creation was rather lewd. As the duo started their session, PewDiePie set the stage when he revealed to his friend that he was issuing him a challenge. “But there is a reason we are in Creative Ken,” he exclaimed as he cracked a smile. “I challenge you, Ken! I challenge you in a Creative battle!” Read More: Twitch streamer “hijacks” Lyft rideshare – The Swede explained the rules of the contest and said that each of them had two minutes to build something based on a theme of choice. The video showed them re-creating objects from fellow YouTuber Jacksepticeye, to an alien smoking a joint, but it was it a later challenge that had Pewds shocking his friend with a lewd creation. One of the later themes for the contest was creating a self-portrait, as both were tasked with making themselves in the sandbox title. “Maybe this one we can have a little more time on. I need more time for this masterpiece,” the YouTube king laughed as he raced to finish his portrait. He then jumped to the ground, revealing a massive stick figure with a rather large penis. But hilariously, the Swede used the games automatic mechanic systems to make the human appendage move back and forth. The YouTuber broke down laughing as he camera panned to reveal he had created a similar system in the back to make his statue poop, as the droppings began to rain down from the back and fall between its legs. (Timestamp of 17:47 for mobile viewers.) While the Swede showed he has a sense of humor, his Minecraft videos continue to resonate with audiences as they dominate on YouTube, averaging on eight to nine million views per upload every day. PewDiePie cringes after watching the worst Pickup Artists do their thing – Dexerto
PewDiePie cringes after watching the worst Pickup Artists do their thing YouTube, PewDiePieYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has found some more cringe-worthy content to react to, and this time, he’s delving into the wild world of pickup artists. Diving into the world of PickUp artists, a community of men focusing on reaching a goal of seduction with women, PewDiePie starts his video off by stating: “I haven’t slept, I feel like s***. But there’s one thing that makes me feel even worse. PickUp Artists.” Mainstream media coverage of PickUp artists started around 2005 when investigative reporter Neil Strauss published a book called “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists” in which the author stumbles upon the secret society and decides to check it out, becoming one himself. PewDiePie’s cringe reactions While watching videos of PickUp Artists, PewDiePie cuts away from them with his reactions, often laughing at the audacity and awkwardness of the men. Throughout the multiple videos he reacts to, he makes one thing clear — he thinks PickUp artists are creepy. With comments like “that’s the worst I’ve ever seen” and “that’s so weird” throughout the videos confirming that opinion. After watching an artist in a library fail to get the interest of a woman studying, and a second one relentlessly trying to get a woman to come home with him from the bar, PewDiePie doesn’t appear as upset about the third video as it was posted knowing the artist in the video failed. He soon realizes how many times the women in the video try to get the man to leave. Then, he gets annoyed. “Guys biggest problem with girls is fear of rejection, right? These pickup artists have just created this shield for fear of rejection that they just don’t give a s***, no matter how uncomfortable they make women. It’s so strange, and I’m sorry,” Felix said before switching to the next video. The last video PewDiePie reacts to is at a PickUp Artist convention, in which they invite women to come so the artists can practice their lines. “It’s the weirdest thing ever,” he said before starting the video. When the last PickUp artist starts talking and asks the woman if she’d rather have ADD or OCD, which are two mental health disorders, PewDiePie said: “I think for a while people were trying to turn PickUp Artistry into some psychoanalytic game and it just took a weird curve.” This isn’t the first reaction video PewDiePie has uploaded, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Pewdiepie Could Lose his Title as ‘King of YouTube’ Very Soon – Dexerto
Pewdiepie Could Lose his Title as ‘King of YouTube’ Very Soon It’s no secret that Felix “Pewdiepie” Kjellberg is the most subscribed channel on YouTube – but that could be changing very soon. With over 65 million subscribers, Pewdiepie’s channel has dominated the platform for years. Now, he is facing some legitimate competition – thanks to a channel called T-Series. T-Series is an Indian film studio and music label, which currently sits at over 59 million subs. T-Series is the second-most subscribed channel on the platform, falling under Pewdiepie with just a 6 million subscriber deficit. T-Series made its start in the 1980s and has since made major strides, now one of the largest Bollywood production studios in the world and the largest on YouTube. Due to T-Series’ major log of Bollywood content, users from all over the world can find just about any Bollywood artist or film clip on the channel. Their growth has been credited to India’s large population and YouTuber user base, with over 80 percent of the populace using YouTube on a daily basis. With India’s population being greater than mainland America’s by nearly half a million, it makes sense that T-Series would be one of the fastest-growing channels on the platform. analysis on SocialBlade, T-Series will overtake Pewdiepie by January 2019. Pewdiepie has taken the news in stride, humorously calling for a fight between himself and the channel as well as commanding his “army of nine year olds” to come to his aid. However, if (or rather, when) T-Series takes the YouTube helm, Pewdiepie will still reign as the platform’s largest single creator. Justin Bieber still comes in hot at third place, while Brazilian music producer and director Kondzilla sits at fourth place. The race is on!

PewDiePie creates his own hilarious version of YouTube Rewind 2018 – Dexerto
PewDiePie creates his own hilarious version of YouTube Rewind 2018 PewDiePie, YouTube Rewind 2018 – YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has created his own version of YouTube Rewind 2018 – and it contains some of the year’s most memorable memes and hilarious moments. In keeping with the original Rewind, Pewds parodied Fresh Prince actor Will Smith’s meme-worthy role in the video, going on to start the action with his highly-demanded “year review” bit as seen in his “meme review” video series. Pewds’ video referenced everything from the Crab Rave to Avengers: Infinity War in a humorous five-minute segment, likewise parodying the original Rewind’s largely criticised campfire scene. PewDiePie showcased the “real” comments from the original video, likely in a not-so-subtle jab at the scene, which he slammed in a savage response on December 7. PewDiePie’s YouTube Rewind currently has over three million views as of December 27, with a like-to-dislike ratio of one point seven million likes to a mere 6,000 dislikes – a far cry from the original, which now sits as the most disliked video on YouTube of all time with over 14 million dislikes. PewDiePie has been open about his criticism of the original YouTube Rewind, claiming that the project was “cringy” and stating that he was glad he wasn’t featured in it. “Rewind… seemed like a homage to the creators that year,” PewDiePie recalled. “It was something cool to be part of. Now, I’m almost glad I’m not in it, because it’s such a cringy video at this point.” This isn’t the first YouTube Rewind remake that 2018 has seen, either; YouTubers ‘ChrisAwake’ and Dolan Dark likewise made their own versions of the video, each with over four million views.

PewDiePie confuses fans by uploading YouTube video from 9 years ago – Dexerto
PewDiePie confuses fans by uploading YouTube video from 9 years ago YouTube: PewDiePieFans of Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg were left baffled when a nine year old Call of Duty: Black Ops video from the beginning of his career was uploaded to his account. PewDiePie may be known today as the largest individual YouTuber in the world with over 104 million subscribers, but the Swede initially got his start a decade ago playing games like Minecraft, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. However on May 2, a nine year old Call of Duty Lets Play was uploaded to his account instead of new content. This kicked off speculation among his fanbase as to what the clip from his past could mean. Related – How The Mob Went From Trolls to Thieves PewDiePie fans baffled Subscribers to the YouTuber were surprised when his latest upload appeared to be a Call of Duty Black Ops commentary. Only thing is – the content was from 2010. This quickly kicked off speculation among the fanbase who wondered if it was a hint at further CoD content, or a glitch with the platform’s video scheduling. However the Swedish entertainer quickly cleared things up with a pinned comment on his channel that explained, “…Accidentally published this. It’s a video from 2010.” While he quickly admitted it was a mistake, it didn’t stop fans from hilariously making memes about it. Over on his subreddit r/pewdiepiesubmissions, the community expressed their initial confusion. Posts like Reddit user ‘yurmum10′ joked that it was Pewds’ awful internet to blame. “Imagine having a small pp internet that it took you 9 years to upload another part of your COD gameplay,” they wrote. Another user ‘Spoopy09’ echoed the same sentiment, however exclaimed that it was his internet browser that led to the mistake: “When you’re using internet explorer, and the upload took eight years.” Despite the accidental upload to his channel, the video managed to pull in over 500k views at the time of writing. Quite the impressive feat for a video close to 10 years old. While it doesn’t appear that PewDiePie will be tackling Call of Duty any time soon, his mistake shows that fans still want his gaming content. And if nothing else, it generated some great memes.

PewDiePie considers going to court over YouTube copyright claims – Dexerto
PewDiePie considers going to court over YouTube copyright claims PewDiePie, YouTube / ShutterstockYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg might be the most-subscribed creator on the platform, but that doesn’t mean he’s above being copystriked by major companies. Why is PewDiePie speaking up about copy striking on YouTube? PewDiePie spoke out on the issue during a video on April 5, where he bemoaned the financial state of videos in which he commentated over episodes of Dr. Phil – and even raised the possibility of going to court over the matter. “I wanna make Dr. Phil videos, but all of them get claimed by copystrike,” he said of the issue. “I mean, I should probably go to court. I mean, that’s probably hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.” MrBeast’s copyright troubles PewDiePie isn’t the only major YouTuber struggling with the site’s copyright system, either; Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has been outspoken on the problem via Twitter, claiming that he has had to push his merchandise in order to remain profitable. “My ad rates are pretty terrible and with companies taking so much of it, I’ve kind of been getting screwed recently,” MrBeast wrote. “I don’t want to scale back my videos so I’m going to have to promote my merch a lot more so I can keep spending what I do.” My ad rates are pretty terrible and with companies taking so much of it, I’ve kind of been getting screwed recently. PewDiePie’s supposed YouTube income Despite PewDiePie’s major loss in revenue, the YouTuber recently opened up about his income, appearing to hint that he made around $3,400 per hour in a video on March 29. [Timestamp: 6:00 for mobile users] He even gave hints as to his net worth, noting that he was “definitely” worth more than $20 million. Despite these major numbers, Kjellberg had an enlightening outlook on his personal wealth, claiming that he attempts to live modestly to avoid being “changed” by his monetary success. “I obviously didn’t start YouTube to make money,” he said of his wealth. “…Considering how much I make, I try to live modestly, because I don’t want to – I want to live a normal life. I don’t want the money to change my life.” Following this message, PewDiePie reached yet another record-breaking subscriber milestone, gaining 93 million subscribers ahead of T-Series after the release of his ‘Congratulations’ diss track on March 31.

PewDiePie confused about why FaZe Clan won’t release Tfue from his contract – Dexerto
PewDiePie confused about why FaZe Clan won’t release Tfue from his contract PewDiePie – YouTube / Tfue – TwitchNearly everyone has had something to say about the ongoing Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and FaZe Clan lawsuit, and now you can add YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg to the list. Tfue’s ongoing battle with FaZe Clan to get out of his contract is arguably one of the biggest things to happen to esports ever. FaZe Clan has been reluctant to outright release him from his contract, which is something that PewDiePie is confused about, as it would just be something simple to do and allows both sides to move on. PewDiePie made sure to get several jabs in at FaZe, especially when they showed parts of the contract in their video. “Whoa, careful there buddy,” he said. “You’re showing a bit too much information. Wow, thanks for releasing the contract – now we can go through all of it.” He said pretty much the same when FaZe only revealed parts of an email that was sent to Tfue. FaZe says they won’t just release Tfue because fans have invested too much into Tfue as a member of FaZe. However, Tfue isn’t interested in fixing his relationship with FaZe, so PewDiePie thinks the situation is just weird all around. “Tfue clearly wants nothing to do with FaZe Clan, so what kind of relationship are you preserving,” he wondered. “The culture and the relationship of gaming in general if they drop him would be hurt, what the fuck are you talking about? That culture is ruined because you didn’t drop him.” (PewDiePie begins discussing FaZe and Tfue at 2:02) The situation as a whole got messy fast as everything was quickly thrown into the open when Tfue filed his initial lawsuit. This led FaZe Banks to go on a Twitter rant and even call out members of other organizations such as Nadeshot, leading to a trainwreck of a situation. The lawsuit is far from over so look for this saga to continue.

PewDiePie claps back at teacher’s scathing comments about his channel – Dexerto
PewDiePie claps back at teacher’s scathing comments about his channel PewDiePie, YouTube / Adobe StockTwitter user ‘Rissan’ uploaded a video to Twitter on December 15, which featured audio of their history teacher claiming that supporting YouTuber ‘PewDiePie’s’ channel incites “anti-Semitism” and “genocide.” The educator popped off in a 40-second segment recorded by Rissan, where he argued that students could face legal repercussions for engaging with the YouTuber’s Tweets, should the YouTuber be “sued” for his promotion of an anti-Semitic channel in one of his previous videos. “If something were to happen and PewDiePie were to be sued for this, you could be complicit,” the teacher stated. “If you retweet it, they could make you pay a fine, as well, because you have published anti-Semitic things.” Our history teacher told us that by supporting @pewdiepie, we are supporting anti-Semitism, racism, ignorance, etc. He also said that @WSJ is a very reputable news source. How ignorant can you get? The political arguments are more and more ironic daily. @ChrisRayGun @benshapiro pic.twitter.com/qg6BtrOhek — Rissian (@Rissian9) December 15, 2018 PewDiePie addressed the video during a ‘Pew News’ segment on December 20, giving a scathing clapback to the teacher’s comments. “Be very aware that this is complete dogshit,” Pewds said of the video. “It blows my mind that a teacher, speaking as a voice of authority over kids in this very strict tone, [is saying] things that are completely not true. This really shows you the effects of these articles.” Rissian themselves had a fairly critical take on their teacher’s statement, calling his tirade “ignorant” and “ironic.” However, the student went on to clarify that they didn’t wish to see the educator fired, claiming that he is a “very talented and interesting teacher when he is teaching and not trying to force his opinion on people.” The identity of the teacher and school in which the video was taken have yet to be identified.

PewDiePie concerned by Dr Disrespect’s “scary” Twitch ban – Dexerto
PewDiePie concerned by Dr Disrespect’s “scary” Twitch ban YouTube: PewDiePie / Twitch: Dr Disrespect[jwplayer IX7jLp7f]YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg reacted to Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban during his July 8 stream, and was floored by the shocking nature of it. The Swede found the lack of information around the incident “scary.” On June 26, Twitch’s biggest star Dr Disrespect was suddenly removed from the platform. Reports claimed the streamer had been permanently banned, and at the time of writing there still has been no official reason for the company’s decision. YouTube’s number one individual content creator PewDiePie decided to weigh in on the incident during his latest broadcast. The Swedish entertainer was stunned by the situation, and explained why Mixer’s closure was “interesting timing.” PewDiePie shocked by Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban For his July 8 broadcast, the YouTuber brought back his popular show PewNews to tackle the latest drama. During the segment, the Swedish star reacted to Dr Disrespect’s ban on Twitch. “Three months ago, Twitch were ready to put down the money as an investment on this guy. And now he’s permanently banned? That’s crazy!” he exclaimed. He then said that the streamer probably regretted not signing with Mixer.”Dr Disrespect gotta to be so mad he didn’t sign with Mixer. Jesus Christ, dude! He signed with Twitch hoping for the future, instead of grabbing the big money… “I’m better off signing with Twitch,” I bet that’s what he thought. Oh God, it hurts!” he joked. The Swede then pointed out that streamers Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins both “got bank for no work” after Mixer closed down. While watching Doc’s Twitch deal announcement video that was posted in March, he joked, “He ain’t laughing now!” The Swedish star was floored by Twitch’s lack of information on the decision, and was shocked when he read a report that they wouldn’t be commenting on it further. “What!? Why not!? That’s nuts. He’s done. That’s crazy! That’s so scary! What did he do!?” Pewds then highlighted the timing of Mixer shutting down and his ban. “The timing of Mixer shutting down to Dr Disrespect being banned is an interesting timing, at least. I don’t think that’s the causing factor, but it’s definitely an incentive. Mixer shut down, so he can’t go over there. So if we ban him, we don’t have to f**king pay him,” he said. Despite the possible explanation, PewDiePie went on to say that the theory doesn’t make any sense either. He then exclaimed, “There must be a serious reason why. They must have something to back this up!” before joking, “I guess we’ll just have to find what happens in court.” While the entertainer has been hesitant to bring back his PewNews segment in the past, he finally decided to re-launch a live version of it for his fans. The content creator re-iterated that he doesn’t really care about drama, but found Dr Disrespect’s ban shocking.

But he will get charged,” he clarified to his viewers. The popular entertainer then explained why Paul’s actions are a reminder that being present during a crime can get you into trouble. “I think this is a great example of even if you are a part of a group that’s doing something illegal, you are complicit by just being there,” he said. He was critical of the content creator, stating, “Jake Paul should really know better.” Later on in the video, another fan compared Paul’s alleged looting scandal as being opposite of popular fictional character Robin Hood. Laughing, the 30-year-old joked, “No, he’s just an idiot. That’s it.” (Topic starts at 15:00.) Hilariously another fan submission paired the Jake Paul news with the Avengers Endgame scene where Spiderman tells Iron Man “we won, Mr Stark” which caused the Swede to break into laughter. This isn’t the first time a major personality has been critical of the Team 10 creator. Mixer star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins slammed Paul during his June 4 broadcast, calling his video “disgusting.” So far, the Arizona police department has only filed criminal charges against the 23-year-old, although that hasn’t stopped the internet from making memes about it. PewDiePie was also kidding around as his humor is laced with sarcasm. Whether reacting to current events or playing games, his content has never been in more demand as he continues to pull in millions of views an upload.

PewDiePie claims Sony hiding PlayStation 5 price is “not good news” – Dexerto
PewDiePie claims Sony hiding PlayStation 5 price is “not good news” YouTube: PewDiePie / SonyFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has criticized Sony for not being upfront about the pricing of the PS5, saying that hiding the cost during the reveal event “is not good news” for fans planning to buy the next-gen console. The PlayStation 5 reveal was revealed to the world in much fanfare, even if some were critical of it. While the console’s design has been a big talking point, some fans are concerned about its cost. With both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X being a massive hardware upgrade on their ancestors, players just want to know how much it’ll set them back. Sony was explicit with the price of the PS4 when revealing the earlier generation console. While they didn’t do it at the initial reveal event back in February 2013, they did it just a few months later at E3. The $399 cost was a big selling point for the console back then. Read more: How much will the PS5 cost? – This has made PewDiePie criticize the decision of Sony to not be upfront with the price this time around. He revealed his thoughts in a June 16 upload: “Didn’t [Sony], when they announced the PlayStation 4, the price was amazing and they were so proud of it? The fact that they haven’t announced the price is not good news.” Topic starts at 5:36 The Swedish YouTube star is worried that if Sony isn’t telling players the cost of the console, it’s going to be a lot higher than most predicted. Somewhere around $500 is the ball park figure most people have been expecting, but it could be higher given the hardware upgrades. Like everyone else though, PewDiePie also took a jab at the console’s design, calling it “really ugly” while laughing along at the memes the internet has come up with since its reveal. Read more: PlayStation 5 officially revealed – “Maybe it looks better in person. I don’t wanna be that guy, but even before I saw anyone’s reaction to it, I was like ‘that looks really ugly.’ I’m not gonna lie.” He even chimed in with his own design idea, which would be a throwback to times gone by. “They should have done a new version of the first PlayStation, I feel like that could have been kind of cool. I would rather that,” he said. The PlayStation 5 is set to be released in the holiday season with both a standard edition, and a digital edition that doesn’t support discs. If you missed the reveal on June 12, you can find all the information here.

PewDiePie claims he’s “taking” Antarctica territory after making huge discovery – Dexerto
PewDiePie claims he’s “taking” Antarctica territory after making huge discovery reddit, u/Saiful-Black/YouTube, PewDiePieSwedish YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has recently made the discovery that there is a large portion of Antarctica that has gone unclaimed… and he’s prepared to take it over. Felix has seemingly joked about his ‘hatred’ for Norway for years now, so when he randomly discovered that his rival country laid claim to a section of Antarctica and there was still unclaimed land near it, the YouTuber decided it was his. PewDiePie’s decision to take over Antarctica may have first been intended as a joke, with the YouTuber claiming: “I’m just going to tell everyone it’s mine.” However, much of his community took the chance to make his dreams a reality, taking to social media to spread the word. PewDiePie takes over Antarctica First mentioned in his September 13 YouTube video titled “WHY IM TAKING OVER ANTARCTICA,” Kjellberg explained to his fans that, because Norway owns part of Antarctica, he wants to attempt to take claim to the rest of the available land. Showing that he searched for instructions on how to take a claim, he frustratedly joked: “I don’t have time for that. I’m just going to tell everyone it’s mine.” Since that video, members of the Floor Gang have taken to social media platforms to spread the word that the Swedish content creator has taken over the rest of Antarctica, causing memes of Felix to be spread across the internet. One of the biggest points of influence from the community was created when a fan took to Wikipedia, adding the creator’s signature wave pattern and his name on the map of claimed land. There were plenty of memes posted to his Reddit as well, with one showing kids playing on PewDiePie’s plot of Antarctica. Whether or not the creator will officially take claim of the land is unlikely, but many on /r/PewDiePieSubmissions believe it’s just a well-executed meme.

PewDiePie slams Jake Paul for latest “scam” – Dexerto
PewDiePie slams Jake Paul for latest “scam” YouTube: PewDiePie / Instagram: @jakepauDuring his February 23 upload, YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg took shots at Jake Paul. The Swede hit out at the influencer’s newest Financial Freedom Movement project, calling it a “scam.” Fresh off his return from his month-long break from YouTube, PewDiePie is already making waves, such as doubling down on coronavirus memes in response to backlash. Now the Swedish star has set his sights on Jake Paul. During his recent upload, he took the influencer to task for what he calls “a scam” and complete “bulls**t.” The YouTuber opened up his latest segment by taking shots at the Jake Paul. “What is Jake Paul doing right now? What is he up to? That little snake. Has he finally gone fully bald?” he joked, while showing unflattering pictures of the influencer. He then reacted to Paul’s latest project “Financial Freedom Movement” – a service that is supposed to teach users how to become famous, and make money. “Yes, Jake Paul is the person I look at when I envision financial freedom,” he said cracking a smile. The Swede then reviewed his financial service site, and took issue with the personality trashing student loans. “Student loans are the cheapest loans you can ever get. It’s one of the most fair loans. It’s a great loan to actually take advantage of. If you use it correctly.” Pewds read Jake Paul’s Twitter post explaining why he was making the service, citing his lack of faith in the education system. The YouTube king pointed out he used the wrong “there” and broke into laughter. “This is embarrassing!” he exclaimed. He then hit out at him for claiming to be passionate about teaching others life skills. “It’s so disingenuous to put forth that this is what you are passionate about. When in reality, the only thing Jake Paul has shown himself to be passionate about is making money.” Continuing, he roasted the personality by saying he has no value. “Jake Paul is the kind of celebrity that doesn’t have any real value. You can replace Jake Paul with anything. Or anyone. He’s literally empty, and no one. This just another scam. It’s complete bulls**t, there’s no point in saying it.” (Timestamp 13:29 for mobile users.) Despite slamming Jake Paul, the YouTuber actually agreed that there are problems with the education system. “So much of the education system is outdated. But what the f**k is Jake Paul going to teach you about it!?” This isn’t the first time PewDiePie has criticized the influencer, as he’s made several videos in the past featuring him. Paul has yet to respond.

PewDiePie claims he knows the real reason Ninja moved to Mixer – Dexerto
PewDiePie claims he knows the real reason Ninja moved to Mixer YouTube: PewDiePie/Ninja/MixerYouTube King Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has shared some of his thoughts on what may have prompted Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins to leave streaming platform Twitch, in favor of Microsoft’s Mixer. Ninja originally announced he would be leaving Twitch in a Twitter video on August 1, in which he was interviewed by himself, as he explained the move over to Mixer. In the video, he argues the move will allow him to “get back in touch with my roots and remember why I fell in love with streaming in the first place”. He first streamed via Mixer while at Lollapalooza on August 2. Shortly after the announcement, PewDiePie has shared his thoughts on the biggest Twitch streamer over the last couple of years leaving the number one platform, in favor of a lesser known one. “Ninja’s streaming on Mixer?” laughs the 29 year old Swede. “Oh that’s funny. I saw it in the comments, and I didn’t understand. I mean, good for him.” “Jack told me yesterday,” he continued. “Mixer came to me with a lot of money, and all of a sudden they say no. Now we know where that money went. That’s funny. They didn’t say ‘no’ to him, they just said like – we spent the money already.” PewDiePie himself, who previously streamed on YouTube, now streams exclusively via DLive; a platform built on Blockchain technology. PewDiePie ends his thoughts with a sly joke at other streaming platforms. “Everyone knows DLive is the greatest platform, so I don’t understand what Ninja is doing over at Mixer. Pathetic.” Ninja had been streaming on Twitch for over eight years, and had been the most popular on the website by a large margin, with over 14 million followers. The move initially shocked a lot of people, given Ninja’s insane success on Twitch. He currently holds the record for most concurrent viewers on a single creator’s stream, as well as the most subscribers at any given point, when he reached over 230,000 back in 2018. While it’s hard to argue with the suggestion that Ninja will have been paid handsomely to make the switch to Mixer, PewDiePie is likely to have been offered similar incentives to join DLive. Now, neither Kjellberg or Blevins can be found on Twitch, both continuing to create competition to go up against the dominance of the Amazon-owned platform.

PewDiePie claims it’s “hard to side” with Deji amid feud with KSI – Dexerto
PewDiePie claims it’s “hard to side” with Deji amid feud with KSI KSI, PewDiePie, Deji – YouTubePopular YouTubers KSI and Deji Olatunji are caught in the middle of a bitter feud, once again, with Deji accusing his older brother of physical abuse and even threatening legal action – but YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is finding it hard to sympathize with the younger sibling. PewDiePie weighed in on the matter during an episode of ‘Pew News’ on June 7, where he applauded KSI’s response to the drama, who had debunked and given context for all of Deji’s claims in an hour and twenty-minute-long video on June 3. “Maybe Deji had some points that were fair, maybe KSI wasn’t a great brother, or whatever, but I think KSI did a really good job explaining his side of the situation,” Kjellberg said of the issue. [Timestamp: 2:25 for mobile viewers] The Swede went on to criticize Deji for placing midroll ads throughout his video accusing KSI of abuse, claiming that it was difficult for him to take his side when his upload directly followed the highly publicized drama surrounding beauty YouTubers James Charles and Tati Westbrook. “I gotta say, Deji’s video has midrolls on it,” PewDiePie continued. “…It’s kind of hard to side with someone who puts that perspective on it. Especially when KSI made a lot of good points.” Kjellberg likewise commented on Logan Paul’s copyright strike on KSI’s response video, the revenue from which KSI claimed would benefit suicide charities. While PewDiePie laughingly mocked Paul for claiming the video, he noted that his claim had ultimately been an accident, and called the entire debacle “dumb.” 600https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/ksi-suicide-awareness-ad-revenue-claimed-logan-paul-network-683462KSI and Deji’s latest feud cropped up after Deji relisted his diss track against his older brother, which he’d removed in an attempt to end their previous feud in early 2019. KSI then claimed that he was washing his hands of his little brother, who came forward with allegations of physical and mental abuse, later following up with a second video threatening legal action against his older brother should he take the issue any further. The eldest sibling then released a long video debunking Deji’s claims despite his threats of a lawsuit, with Deji ultimately conceding to handle the matter in private.

PewDiePie challenges Post Malone after overtaking his ‘Congratulations’ YouTube hit – Dexerto
PewDiePie challenges Post Malone after overtaking his ‘Congratulations’ YouTube hit PewDiePie, YouTube – Post Malone, VevoYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg released his ‘Congratulations’ diss track against T-Series in late March – and the song is already competing with major names in the music industry. Kjellberg’s diss track surpassed American rapper Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’ song in likes shortly after it was released, gaining .2 million likes above the song in mid-April. Now, PewDiePie’s song boasts over 6.1 million likes (as opposed to Post Malone’s 5.6 million likes) – and the YouTuber has decided to take their musical competition a step further. “We absolutely did it,” PewDiePie said of the development during an episode of LWIAY on April 19. “Now, if we could just hit one billion views. No problem. Easy-peasy. One billion. That’s easy!” Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’ music video sports over one billion views – a far cry from PewDiePie’s ‘Congratulations’ single, which garnered just over 86 million views as of April 19. [Timestamp: 5:30 for mobile viewers] Battle of the view counts ‘Congratulations’ even pales in comparison to the most-viewed video on PewDiePie’s channel, ‘Bitch Lasagna,’ which boasts over 183 million views and counting. Despite Post Malone’s impressive view count for ‘Congratulations,’ his isn’t the most-viewed video on YouTube, by far; in fact, Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ remains the most-viewed video on the platform with, over 6.14 billion views. Last week on ‘PewDiePie vs T-Series’ Post Malone isn’t the only name in the music industry that PewDiePie has been beefing with as of late, either; in fact, Kjellberg is apparently still bent on reaching 100 million subscribers ahead of Bollywood label T-Series, who are currently over 390,000 subscribers ahead of PewDiePie as of April 19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVxU2HzPGugT-Series previously looked set to surpass PewDiePie in late March, just ahead of ‘Congratulations’’ release; in spite of their massive sub gap, the song managed to skyrocket Kjellberg to the top, leading to a victory that lasted for weeks. T-Series takes PewDiePie to court Since then, the label has taken legal action against PewDiePie, pursuing an alleged court order to have his diss tracks removed from YouTube – and have even banned the videos in India altogether. 500https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/pewdiepie-youtube-diss-tracks-reportedly-blocked-in-india-after-t-series-court-order-536916Although PewDiePie is falling behind the label, that isn’t stopping him from his goal; considering the major comebacks he’s managed in the past, there’s no telling what’s next in store for their epic YouTube battle.

PewDiePie’s childhood confusion is something we can all relate to – Dexerto
PewDiePie’s childhood confusion is something we can all relate to YouTube: PewDiePie / PixabayDuring his latest episode of Meme Review on September 16, YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg was brought back to his childhood when a popular Spongebob Squarepants meme reminded him how confused he was by a certain phenomena. PewDiePie took a day off from his Minecraft series to release one of his popular Meme Reviews and during the episode, the Swede opened up to his audience about his childhood after a Spongebob meme sparked some memories. The cartoon had the YouTube king retell a story about how confused he was about the subject in the meme, and confessed that as an adult he didn’t know what it actually was. PewDiePie confused by a Spongebob meme The YouTuber reacted to a popular Spongebob meme where the cartoon character is dizzy after standing up, when it sparked his memories of being confused by it when he was younger. “This confused me so much when I was a kid. Okay? No-one talked about it. What are these flying things?!” he said, referring to the phenomena of seeing ‘stars” or ‘dots’ after standing up too quickly. “They would say “no, you’re crazy!” … I’m like “I swear I see them!” What are they!? I’m so confused!” Pewds screamed. The Swede then said he was frustrated because he didn’t know how to explain what it was. “Seriously I was like, “why am I the only one talking about this?” I don’t know how to describe it either. They are just like dots blinking, and I don’t know what they are! Godammit, schools teach you nothing!” (Timestamp of 2:38 for mobile viewers.) PewDiePie then decided to look up what the medical definition for what it was, and unsurprisingly, the definition was quite wordy. “You know what I’ll Google it. Science section of Meme Review happening right now!” he declared, as he clapped his hands together. “What are the lights that shine when I stand up too quick?” the Swede typed into Google search. “Orthostatic hypotension, alright cool, I don’t care. Can you just explain what it is?” Still confused about the actual definition upon finding the answer, the YouTuber said “It’s blood rushing to your head. Alright I can’t find the answer, so there must be a conspiracy. Alien reptile lights. Alright!” The Spongebob Meme The meme that kicked off Pewds’ medical journey to find answers is called ‘Ight Imma head out’ and was a screenshot taken from the Spongebob Squarepants episode ‘The Smoking Peanut’ which aired on the animation channel Nickelodeon in 2001. It gained popularity this year, and centers around the cartoon character standing up to leave. The Swede reacted to a variation of it about being dizzy and seeing lights when getting up too quick to leave, which he had experienced growing up. As of the time of this article, PewDiePie has over 101 million subs on his YouTube channel, and continues to get tens of millions of views daily, largely fueled by his wildly popular Minecraft series.

PewDiePie celebrates Minecraft series success in the craziest way – Dexerto
PewDiePie celebrates Minecraft series success in the craziest way Instagram: pewdiepie/ MojangDuring his September 30 episode of ‘Last Week I Asked You’, YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg made a surprise announcement while in Japan to cap off the insane year he’s had, fueled by the success of his Minecraft series. PewDiePie has had one hell of a year so far with him passing the 100 million YouTube subscribers milestone on August 25, and marrying his best friend Marzia ‘CutiePie’ Bisognin just days earlier on August 19. However, much of his channel’s success has largely been a result of his return to gaming, when he launched his wildly popular Minecraft series in June. And now the Swede and his wife are hitting another major milestone in their lives, which he announced in his latest episode while in Japan. 600PewDiePie’s major announcement While Pewds visiting Japan has become an annual tradition, the Sweded ended his makeshift episode of LWIAY with a huge announcement when he revealed to his audience that him and Marzia had actually bought a house in Japan. Read More: Dr Disrespect’s “cousin” trolls bathroom ban – “Hey, remember a while back when last time I was in Japan, and I was like “I would really like to live here” … Well, we bought a house here, yay! So we are just here for a couple of days setting up. That’s why I don’t have my whole set up and everything is terrible. I just wanted to say thank you, it’s a dream come true!” he said. (Timestamp of 19:07 for mobile viewers.) The Swede and his wife have gone to Japan on numerous occasions over the years, and frequently uploaded videos of their adventures. But in their April 15 vlog, the YouTube star admitted that they were visiting to see if they could move there. “I really want to do it. I don’t want to look back in a couple of years and wonder what would have been. And I’m in a really unique position to do something like this and want to try it!” he exclaimed. At the time, PewDiePie had admitted that he and his wife were feeling overwhelmed by the steps it would take to immigrate to a new country together, but it looks like they overcame those hurdles. (Timestamp of 10:21 for mobile viewers.) Minecraft has led to insane growth The 29-year-old’s channel has seen an insane growth since June when he announced his return to gaming with his Minecraft series, which has taken the internet by storm. Read More: Sean Evans calls out MTV for copying idea – Since then, he’s seen his channel gaining double the views, as he went from 300 million to close to 600 million monthly watches in those three months. And according to Social Blade, the YouTuber gained close to four million subscribers – and that’s not even counting September. While it’s unclear if Pewds will be living full time in Japan, this is undoubtedly a huge step for him and his wife, making yet another major milestone for the YouTuber.

PewDiePie challenges Elon Musk to create Rick & Morty SpaceX rocket – Dexerto
PewDiePie challenges Elon Musk to create Rick & Morty SpaceX rocket YouTube: PewDiePie / Adult SwimYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg challenged Tesla CEO Elon Musk to create a Rick & Morty themed rocket. The Swede wants the tech millionaire to take memes to the next level. PewDiePie is a known admirer of Elon Musk, praising him on several occasions in past videos. The billionaire even hosted the Swedish entertainer’s popular show ‘Meme Review’ in February 2019. However during his February 28 ‘Last Week I Asked You’ segment, the YouTuber hilariously challenged the tech giant to make a Rick & Morty themed rocket based on Pickle Rick. During his first LWIAY since taking his month-long break, the YouTube star reacted to a meme about the Tesla CEO putting the anime Alita: Battle Angel on the side of one of his rockets. In disbelief of the story, Pewds joked, “No, he did not do that. He was supposed to put subscribe to PewDiePie…oh it’s a dead meme anyways.” He then reiterated, “He did not do that. He should have put Pickle Rick on it. Then he truly would have my respect!” He then broke into laughter after Googling it and discovering the tech billionaire had tweeted about it on February 25. “He did do that! Nooo! The absolute mad lad! That’s so dope!” The Swedish star challenged Musk to doing another themed rocket – this time based on the animation Rick & Morty. “Do a Pickle Rick next time, Elon! Do it! I want to see a Pickle Rick!” he said, clapping his hands and laughing. “Ah, that would truly make me happy!” he exclaimed. “If I see a Pickle Rick on an Elon Musk rocket I would be like… “In general I question if existence is worth it. Pain usually outmeasures pleasure. But there was a Pickle Rick on a rocket once. So I think humanity was worth it!’” Pewds then stated that Musk had a “big brain” and begged him to let him fly on a rocket. “Elon, can I go on rocket please? Please? I ask, Pickle Rick rocket please. Can I be first pilot?” (Timestamp 02:35 for mobile users.) While PewDiePie is considered the king of memes, Elon Musk is quite the connoisseur himself. The Tesla CEO has won the internet multiple times with hilarious tweets that have gone viral. So who knows, maybe fans might get another collaboration between the YouTuber and the tech giant in the future. And it might even include a crazy rocket if Swede gets his wish.

PewDiePie can’t believe Markiplier “ripped off” his YouTube show billboard – Dexerto
PewDiePie can’t believe Markiplier “ripped off” his YouTube show billboard YouTube: PewDiePie, MarkiplierYouTube star and self-professed ‘most famous man in Sweden’ PewDiePie just posted a video focusing on striking similarities between one of his own billboards and that of fellow content creator Markiplier’s. Often looked up to as one of the longest-standing YouTube gaming channels, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has a long history of influence in the world of social media. Showing that the influence he has can be seen far and wide, his second video posted after a long-discussed move to Japan showed a real-world example of how imitation truly is the greatest form of flattery. In the video, titled ‘Can’t believe Markiplier did this to me,‘ Felix shows an image of a billboard of his YouTube Red show ‘Scare PewDiePie’ next to an image of the Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach show ‘In Space with Markiplier’.’ The resemblance is immediately noticeable. Looking at the two images next to each other, Felix’s first response is: “They straight-up ripped it off?” Before continuing in a more light-hearted fashion. Markiplier’s billboard sees the creator using Felix’s exact image except with Mark’s face photoshopped onto the body in the image. Part of a long-running standard of Markiplier co-opting and providing homage to other creators in his advertising material. As ‘In Space with Markiplier’ focuses on a multiverse narrative through-line, and both series are owned by YouTube through its funding program, it’s unlikely that this was an unknown rip-off. More than two years after the (now debunked) adult proposition between Markiplier and PewDiePie it’s a boon to see that the creators are able to reference each other’s work in this fashion. Comments within the Reddit post discussing the similarities were quick to point out the lack of ill-will in Markipliers actions, pointing out: “It’s too painfully obvious to be anything else unless someone is trying to be sued.” Despite PewDiePie’s statement that “I’ll have to check that out,” there’s no indication there’ll be any major repercussions from the image usage by Markiplier. Should that change we’ll be sure to keep you updated.

PewDiePie claims he can’t use his own music due to YouTube’s copyright system – Dexerto
PewDiePie claims he can’t use his own music due to YouTube’s copyright system YouTube: PewDiePieFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg revealed that he can’t use his own music anymore, including his immensely popular ‘B*tch Lasagna’ song, due to YouTube’s “backwards” copyright system. After criticizing Japanese anime studio Toei Animation for allegedly issuing more than 150 copyright strikes against a YouTuber Mark Fitzpatrick in a single day, PewDiePie talked about his own experience with the platform’s copyright system. Not only did he describe the system as “backwards”, but he also claimed that it has allowed a company to claim music on his behalf, even though he has nothing to do with them. The worst part, he revealed, is that he can’t even use some of his own songs anymore. “I’ve had this problem recently where all my music got claimed,” said PewDiePie. He explained that if you click onto his B*tch Lasagna music video, it has been claimed by a company called RepostNetwork on his behalf. “Nah!” he scoffed in disgust. “What do you f**king mean? You can’t just say it’s on behalf of me. That’s not just stealing. That’s stealing and lying about it. I know I didn’t claim that. I didn’t tell anyone to do that. PewDiePie pointed out that he even included a section in the video’s description saying: “Feel free to use this track. It won’t be claimed.” He explained that he did that because he wanted people to do fun stuff with the song, but now they can’t. “It pisses me off,” he added. “I don’t support this whole claim music thing. I think it’s completely backwards.” He compared it to how TikTok lets people use songs in clips, which he described as a “positive” thing. “I don’t know how this was possible that someone can claim my own video and say it’s me. How is that possible? I understand it’s a difficult process. It’s never going to be perfect. But the kind of stuff that happened… it’s not okay. It’s not the first time, even just recently, PewDiePie has spoken out against YouTube — the platform he’s called home for over a decade. In November 2021, he slammed YouTube for removing the dislike count feature, saying: “If it ain’t broke, why fix it?”

PewDiePie calls out YouTubers for making mental health based videos to promote BetterHelp – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out YouTubers for making mental health based videos to promote BetterHelp Popular YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is the latest to speak out about the ongoing controversy surrounding online counseling service BetterHelp. BetterHelp has been at the center of a growing YouTube scandal after Drama Alert host Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem called the service out for being a massive scam. KEEMSTAR isn’t alone in his criticism any longer, though, as PewDiePie has now thrown more fuel on the fire with a deep-dive into the many problems of the service. In the 13-minute video, PewDiePie cuts through the site’s shady Terms of Service, explaining that they are not at all what they claim to be. “What’s wrong with Better Help? You can have online therapy without leaving your house. It sounds almost too good to be true. Well, yes, because it is,” Felix says before launching into his examination. Felix kicks things off by looking at BetterHelp’s claim of only charging $65 per week for their services, and reveals that the site actually charges users on a monthly basis. This means that as soon as the trial ends, users will be charged $260 up front, despite claims of being able to cancel at any time. Perhaps the biggest problems that Felix finds with the company’s TOS, however, come when they discuss the services that are actually provided. Not only does Felix discover that BetterHelp state that their services are “not a complete substitute for face-to-face” services, but that they don’t actually guarantee the legitimacy of their own services, statements he discovered in the TOS before the company actually deleted such warranties days before this video released. “We do not do not guarantee the verification of, the skills, degrees, qualifications, licensure, certification, credentials, competence or background of any Counselor,” reads the TOS before adding that it is “your responsibility to conduct independent verification regarding any Counselor” you speak to. After outlining the problems with the service itself, Felix then turns his attention to the YouTubers who promote the service, especially those who claim to have been diagnosed by BetterHelp, as he found in the TOS that BetterHelp explicitly states that “the platform is not intended for diagnosis.” Felix continued his focus on the YouTubers who promote the service, revealing that they receive $200 per person that signs up using their promo code, something he feels is bad faith when it comes to mental health issues. Felix closes out the video by calling out these YouTubers, saying they “should not take a deal that gives them money per sign up if it’s for mental health.”

PewDiePie can’t believe Alinity “got away with” cat scandal – Dexerto
PewDiePie can’t believe Alinity “got away with” cat scandal YouTube: PewDiepie / Twitch: AlinityTwitch streamer Alinity Divine has had her fair share of run-ins with PewDiePie, following the pair’s ‘copy strike’ drama, and the top YouTuber has finally discussed her biggest controversy yet – the infamous cat ‘abuse’ scandal. PewDiePie and Alinity’s first ‘encounter’ came as a result of the YouTuber somewhat inadvertently criticizing her stream content. After seeing the video, Alinity pronounced on stream that she would ‘copy strike him’ – essentially file a copyright claim on the video because it contained footage of her. The Swedish YouTube star responded with a video, and their feud was sparked, albeit shortlived. However, while PewDiePie may have avoided discussing Alinity in his videos, he did address her cat throwing controversy on stream. Referring to when she had tossed her cat over her head, prompting widespread backlash online, and even calls to ban her from Twitch. During his DLive stream on October 9, as he played with his own pet, Edgar, a viewer suggested he “throw it like Alinity”. Laughing, he responded, “How the f**k did she get away with that? How do you throw an animal?” PewDiePie wasn’t the only big-name to criticize Alinity over the incident, with fellow streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys labeling it “messed up”. Despite the backlash, Twitch did not take any action, and an investigation by the SPCA ruled that “the actions depicted in each incident were not malicious in nature and the animals appeared healthy and well.” PewDiePie has taken a more reserved attitude to broaching such controversial topics on his channel, ever since canceling his popular ‘Pew News’ show. Read More: PewDiePie reveals he’s moving to Japan – Instead, his content now largely focuses on gaming again, particularly Minecraft, and lighthearted videos where he reviews peculiar subreddits. He explained his decision to end Pew News was due to the drama it would often stir up, or align him with. In an interview with the New York Times, he also explained that he avoids political and controversial topics now, due to a ‘turning point’ in his career.

PewDiePie calls out “snitch” 6ix9ine in diss track against Cocomelon YouTube channel – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out “snitch” 6ix9ine in diss track against Cocomelon YouTube channel YouTube: PewDiePieFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg took his diss track game to the next level by unleashing a blistering number against children’s YouTube channel, Cocomelon. His new song ‘Coco’ also jokes about rapper 6ix9ine being a “snitch.” PewDiePie surprised viewers in 2018 when he dropped his hit song ‘B**ch Lasagna’. The parody single took his feud with T-Series to a whole new level, and has accumulated over 280 million views. Kjellberg made his return to music game on February 14 with another diss track – this time aimed at children’s channel Cocomelon. The Swede also used the moment to also jokingly challenge rapper 6ix9ine. PewDiePie calls out 6ix9ine while roasting kids YouTube channel The Cocomelon “diss track” is of course comedic, and the 31-year-old has told viewers that he has no actual beef with the channel. The new video is four minutes of Pewds delivering blistering lyrics while dressed up as a Mr Rogers clone hosting his own nightmarish children’s show. From Santa Clause being fake to pets being buried in the backyard, he does not hold back roasting Cocomelon’s child content. The entertainer even dawns samurai armor before using a katana to destroy the channel’s signature watermelon logo. In a surprising turn, however, PewDiePie also uses the new single to take aim at rapper 6ix9ine. “Don’t be a f**king snitch. Don’t be like 69, that rainbow f**king b**ch. Rainbow b**ch, hair too bright. Don’t eat lead paint or your brain will end up like 6ix9ine,” he sings jokingly. As the song winds down, the YouTuber even directly challenges the rap artist “I’m just playing Coco, you know I love you. Not 6ix9ine though, ankle monitor-wearing c**t, I challenge you in a legal fight,” he spits, though fans shouldn’t take this offer too seriously. Fans of the entertainer have been waiting for the song to drop for a while. The content creator teased it over the past year as the nursery rhyme channel has been inching closer to passing him in subscribers in 2021. It should be pointed out PewDiePie is known for his sarcastic humor, so the track should be taken as such – comedic. It even ends with a confused child asking “Why is he dissin’ 6ix9ine?”. Only time will tell if the artist responds with his own diss track.

PewDiePie calls out Oli London over ‘race change’: “It’s so bizarre” – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out Oli London over ‘race change’: “It’s so bizarre” YouTube: PewDiePie / TikTok: olilondonYouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has criticized influencer Oli London for claiming they are transracial after getting surgery to look more ‘Korean.’ Ethnically white and British-born Oli London has long been creating controversy on the internet with their behavior. In 2018, they claimed to have spent tens of thousands of dollars in order to look like K-pop idol Jimin from popular group BTS. However, in the past few months, they’ve ramped their behavior up to a new extreme, condemned widely on social media, including by many Korean creators. In the latest unbelievable turn of events, Oli revealed during pride month that they now identify as Korean. The influencer even went as far as to get surgery to look ‘more Korean’ as they revealed in a June 26 YouTube video, leading to widespread backlash. YouTuber PewDiePie reacted to a popular video about Oli trying to look more like Jimin in 2020, and he’s now back again to share his thoughts on the influencer’s latest announcements. After watching part of the video, Felix didn’t seem to know how to react, saying, “I’m speechless, I don’t know what to say, it’s so bizarre.” “I believe that he’s doing it because he wants to, but you’re also letting everyone know. You cannot say you don’t like the attention at least. Which is fine, if you wanna do that, but I don’t buy that at all. There’s definitely both of these elements playing into each other.” In response to Oli’s defense that some people identify as aliens so they should be able to identify as Korean, he said: “You are appropriating another race. That’s not always a good look, I’m not gonna lie. You’re not taking away from aliens by identifying as them.” He stressed that the video wasn’t intended as hate towards Oli, and that he just found the topic “interesting.” “I’m totally fine with people doing surgery or if they’re not happy about an aspect of themselves, fine. But it also kind of opens up this question of you know, what are you ever going to be if you can always change a part of yourself.” It doesn’t seem as though Oli London is planning on slowing down any time soon and people have been left wondering what extremes the influencer will end up going to next.

PewDiePie calls out Pokimane for copy striking smaller YouTube channels – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out Pokimane for copy striking smaller YouTube channels PewDiePie, YouTube / Pokimane, TwitterYouTube’s biggest creator, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, is going after one of Twitch’s most popular streamers – Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, who allegedly claimed the video of a smaller YouTuber on the grounds of copyright infringement. PewDiePie discussed the issue in a video on January 11, where he noted that Pokimane had seemingly claimed the video of a YouTuber by the name of ‘Bowblax’ for using clips from her Twitter spat with KEEMSTAR in November 2018. Pewds went on to note that YouTube’s algorithm may have boosted the video’s reach, ultimately escalating their Twitter beef – which PewDiePie speculated may have been the underlying reason for Pokimane’s strike. “I can understand why you want to take down this video, because this selected thing blows up and becomes even bigger… but the problem here… is that you’re just drawing more attention to it,” PewDiePie said of the debacle. “The more you try to hide something, the more people are going to find out about it.” PewDiePie likewise called out other popular streamers for their use of his own content, pointing out that gaming streamer ‘Shroud’ watched one of his videos during a live stream without adding any commentary. “Hey, Shroud, hit subscribe, god dammit!” Pewds joked of the situation, noting that Shroud hadn’t subscribed to his channel after using his video in the broadcast. Pokimane herself has vehemently denounced creators for using her content in their videos, as shown by YouTuber ‘Memology’ in his video discussing the ‘Bowblax’ copy strike on December 22, 2018.

PewDiePie “calls out” MrBeast during honeymoon vlog – Dexerto
PewDiePie “calls out” MrBeast during honeymoon vlog PewDiePie, MrBeast – YouTubeYouTube king Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg finally tied the knot with wife Marzia Bisongin on August 19 after eight years together – and, of course, he vlogged their honeymoon, which included a hilarious callout toward another major YouTuber. After celebrating their marriage in London’s Kew Gardens, Felix and Marzia took their honeymoon in the lushious jungles of Bali, an island province in Indonesia. Between traveling to breathtaking waterfalls and historic temples, the couple also relaxed at their hotel, which came complete with a private pool that staff filled with flower petals during their stay. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2CVNonAlMM/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link While their vlog shows ample footage of the couple relaxing in the pool, PewDiePie took the opportunity to make a well-intended jab toward fellow YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, known for the insane stunts and massive cash giveaways in his videos. “Yo MrBeast,” PewDiePie jokingly challenged. “Bet you never filled a pool a quarter full with roses. Got ‘em!” (Timestamp: 10:08 for mobile viewers) Although MrBeast may not have taken on that particular feat, the YouTuber has filled up his neighbor’s pool (and backyard) with 100 million orbeez before – a slightly more destructive challenge when compared to flower petals. In fact, PewDiePie’s challenge could make for yet another crazy video idea for MrBeast, considering that he revealed his girlfriend to the world in mid-June – and with his habit of dropping massive cash on people, we can only imagine how over-the-top his Valentine’s Day might be. PewDiePie’s callout was obviously made in good humor, as the two YouTubers have a history of cooperation between each other: the already popular MrBeast went viral in October 2018 after campaigning for Kjellberg’s channel in the thick of his battle with T-Series, and even held up posters for the Swede at the 2018 Super Bowl. The good-natured challenge was far from the funniest thing to come out of PewDiePie’s honeymoon vacation, though: Kjellberg even recreated a famous scene from The Witcher 3, where Geralt relaxes in a bathtub – albeit, this time, the bath was filled with flowers (and fans are begging him to sell bottles of the bathwater). PewDiePie pulled off a pretty hilarious Geralt impression during his honeymoon vacation. While MrBeast has yet to respond to PewDiePie’s odd callout, the YouTuber already has major plans in store for future content later this year, leaving fans waiting for even bigger and better videos from the internet sensation.

PewDiePie calls out MrBeast for the most meme-worthy reason – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out MrBeast for the most meme-worthy reason PewDiePie, MrBeast – YouTubePopular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is a noted advocate for YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, after supporting him during his heated battle with Bollywood label T-Series – but Kjellberg is putting MrBeast on the spot, despite his hard work. PewDiePie published a Tweet on May 24 that humorously called out MrBeast for not being subscribed to his subreddit, which Kjellberg uses for such shows as ‘Meme Review’ and ‘LWIAY.’ The Tweet in question included a series of screenshots MrBeast had taken of the subreddit, which implored him to plant 20 million trees in honor of his 20 million subscriber milestone. However, that wasn’t the only thing PewDiePie took note of – the YouTube king noticed that MrBeast wasn’t a member of his subreddit, calling him out in the Tweet, writing, “BRUH.” MrBeast quickly explained the matter in a reply, claiming that he browses Reddit without being signed into his account. “I use reddit not signed in,” he wrote. “I HAVE NOT FORSAKEN YOU, FATHER!” I use reddit not signed in  I HAVE NOT FORSAKEN YOU FATHER! pic.twitter.com/c6burDeaSh — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) May 24, 2019 MrBeast went on to take the joke even further, retweeting PewDiePie’s Tweet with the caption, “I’d like to publicly apologize to all those who I hurt thru my actions. I will strive to get better.” I’d like to publicly apologize to all those who I hurt thru my actions. I will strive to get better. https://t.co/qUQ5qrmoNl — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) May 24, 2019 This is far from MrBeast’s first interaction with Kjellberg; in fact, MrBeast even made an appearance on an episode of ‘Meme Review’ as a host on March 5, just as PewDiePie’s battle with T-Series was coming to a head. MrBeast famously bought out multiple billboards across his hometown in an effort to advertise Kjellberg’s channel just as their war was heating up, going on to orchestrate a last-ditch effort to help the Swede by taking his squad to the 2019 Super Bowl, where they wore a series of shirts on camera that read, “Subscribe to PewDiePie.” Despite PewDiePie’s battle with T-Series coming to an unsatisfactory end, MrBeast is still rooting for the YouTube king, even sacrificing his own video to keep Kjellberg’s YouTube Rewind 2018 rendition as the most liked non-music video on YouTube. While MrBeast’s stunts in honor of PewDiePie have gained him a broad audience across the net, the YouTuber is popular in his own right, due to his viral videos giving away insane amounts of cash or participating in extreme challenges.

PewDiePie calls on Logan and Jake Paul for help beating T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls on Logan and Jake Paul for help beating T-Series PewDiePie, YouTube / Forbes.comSwedish YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is in a nail-biting race with Bollywood label T-Series to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube. Although he came back from a close call on December 3, thanks to the combined efforts of Markiplier and Jacksepticeye, he’s calling on two more of YouTube’s biggest stars for help. PewDiePie uploaded an episode of ‘LWIAY’ on December 5, where he reacted to a poll created by YouTuber MrBeast, who asked his audience if he should collaborate with social media stars Logan and Jake Paul in an effort to boost Pewd’s subscriber count. “Guys, the battle with T-Series is getting intense and casualties are high,” MrBeast Tweeted. “Should we call Logan and Jake Paul for help? Is winning worth sacrificing everything?” Guys, the battle with T-Series is getting intense and casualties are high. Should we call Logan and Jake Paul for help? Is winning worth sacrificing everything? — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) December 2, 2018 PewDiePie appeared to entertain the idea, and even challenged Paul to assist him in his ongoing battle with T-Series, admitting that he is “desperate” for help. “I wonder if Logan Paul would do it,” Pewds mused. “I wonder. Could we put our differences aside? Come on Logan, what’s it gonna be? That’s right, I’m that desperate – I’ll take any help I can get.” MrBeast’s poll leaned heavily in favor of the scheme, with over 76% of participants voting “yes.” However, MrBeast may have another, equally huge plan up his sleeve, as he Tweeted out a few possible hints of collaborating with Fortnite pro FaZe Tfue on December 3. PewDiePie is seeing support from across the internet in his fight against his Bollywood nemesis, with fans buying out Billboards in Times Square and even paying celebrities to help endorse the Swede’s channel.

PewDiePie calls out giveaway YouTubers “abusing” the algorithm – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out giveaway YouTubers “abusing” the algorithm YouTube: PewDiePieFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg explained why he finds giveaway YouTubers to be “annoying.” The Swede hit out at channels “abusing” the algorithm for giveaways. It’s no secret that the entertainer isn’t the biggest fan of YouTube giveaways. PewDiePie has voiced his criticisms of the type of content in past videos. During his May 28 upload, however, the star gave his subscribers a more in-depth explanation for why he doesn’t like them and called out channels for ‘gaming’ the system. PewDiePie dislikes YouTube giveaways Kjellberg opened up about his feelings towards YouTube giveaways after viewers asked him to elaborate further on why he dislikes the type of content. “I’ll say this once and for all. Giveaways on YouTube are what I have a problem with. Because you are buying subs, likes, and comments [by giving away free stuff],” he said. Pewds then explained why he feels the content is abusing YouTube’s platform. “And it’s a way to boost your video in the algorithm. The YouTube algorithm is like “Oh, this gets a lot of traction.” It used to be a sure way to get your video to trend. And you saw a lot of channels abusing it, that didn’t deserve to get on these trending feeds. So yeah, it’s annoying in that sense.” The 31-year-old argued that channels were also being disingenuous with their fans. “It’s also annoying that they are doing it on a pretense that it’s something nice for your fans like “I want to give back” but in reality YOU are the one that’s benefiting from it. Like, don’t pretend you are giving back to fans. What, like five of them? So five of them get something while you get a lot of money and views. That’s what I have a problem with.” (Topic starts at 11:24) In past videos, the star has explained that he does not include MrBeast in this group, as the philanthropist goes to great lengths to make actual content that is “entertaining.” Speaking of giveaways, PewDiePie has been donating 100% of his YouTube stream revenues to a new charity each month. For instance, in April 2021 Kjellberg gave over $133,169 to the BlueCross Foundation which rehomes animals and rescues pets. During previous months, the star has given away money to mental health organizations, as well as ocean preservation.

PewDiePie calls for MrBeast to delete his YouTube channel after passing him in subs – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls for MrBeast to delete his YouTube channel after passing him in subs YouTube: PewDiePieYouTube star PewDiePie has jokingly called for MrBeast to delete his channel after surpassing him in subs, digging up old tweets from the popular philanthropist. After years of making a wide variety of content on his YouTube channel, MrBeast became the most subscribed creator on the platform, surpassing PewDiePie’s 111 million sub count. Having amassed over seven million more subs in the weeks since — fans were anxiously awaiting PewDiePie’s reaction to losing his crown. He finally responded on December 12, jokingly calling for MrBeast to delete his YouTube channel. PewDiePie calls for MrBeast to delete YouTube channel In a video titled “MrBeast passed me in subs,” PewDiePie began by congratulating the creator for getting over 111 million subscribers on his main channel. However, after talking about a few books to show he “doesn’t care,” about losing his spot as the top YouTuber, Pewd’s said: “Congrats MrBeast. Obviously, I’m just joking — but delete your channel as promised. You have 24 hours.” (Topic starts at 11:54 in the video) As he called for MrBeast to delete his account, he showed two tweets from the YouTuber. In one, he said: “Make it interesting. Last to hit 100 Million subscribers has to delete their channel.” PewDiePie reached 100 Million subs on August 24, 2019 — over two years before MrBeast took the reign as the most subscribed YouTube creator. He also showed a tweet where MrBeast said he would delete his account if he got close to PewDiePie’s subscriber count. However, it appears that the tweet is no longer available. While it’s unlikely we’ll see any accounts disappear anytime soon, it’ll be interesting to see how MrBeast responds to the call-out.

PewDiePie Calls KSI and Logan Paul “Scumbags”, Gives His Final Verdict on Who Will Win the Boxing Match – Dexerto
PewDiePie Calls KSI and Logan Paul “Scumbags”, Gives His Final Verdict on Who Will Win the Boxing Match PewDiePie/YouTubePewDiePie has released a lengthy video giving his thoughts on the KSI vs Logan Paul boxing match and recent YouTube drama between the two – and had some harsh words for both fighters. KSI and Logan will headline a major ‘YouTube boxing’ event on August 25, and the war of wards between the two has been ramping up in anticipation of the fight. Logan recently released a video calling out KSI for sexual abuse comments he made in the past, which KSI then responded to by making accusations of the same caliber towards Logan. It’s a bitter back and forth, all in hopes of increasing attention on the event itself, as well as attempting to get fans on one side or the other, but PewDiePie is unconvinced that either fighter is worthy of support. Speaking on the recent videos both made insulting each other, PewDiePie says both are “scumbags”, and equally is immoral, despite both attempting to take the moral high ground. “Logan Paul plays the moral high ground, and I guess against KSI, that’s not really hard to do. But for Logan Paul to do this it’s… interesting, very interesting. And a of people bought it. Now KSI, he is a scumbag. You’re both scumbags. KSI has made the same comments about my future wife, Marzia, and I never respond to it because it’s just cringey. [Logan’s video], I’ll give it props for being well put together, but it just shows how Logan will take any step, even if it’s lying. There’s so many videos where Logan is equally as bad as KSI.” But PewDiePie says he is tired of talking about both of these YouTubers and the boxing fight itself, and that all this talk is just for the sake of the event making more money. “These guys are just purely driven by money. This whole event is going to make them a lot of money. Logan is the type of person to do whatever it takes, to get whatever he wants. Between KSI and Logan, who do I think should win? The thing is, Logan can’t lose. If he loses, I think people will sympathise with him, and if he wins, he wins. If KSI loses, he’s just going to look like an idiot, because he says he wants to do professional boxing, if you lose against a YouTuber, that career is over before it’s begun. I think KSI will win, and I don’t think it really matters what happens to Logan, he’s in a really good position right now.” The fight will take place on August 25, and although PewDiePie says he is done making videos on the subject, we’re sure he’ll have it’s say when all is said and done and the score has been settled in the ring.

PewDiePie brought to tears over fan’s emotional message – Dexerto
PewDiePie brought to tears over fan’s emotional message YouTube – PewDiePieYouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg had an emotional response to a fan message after learning he had helped him get through a bout of depression. PewDiePie has a fan-run subreddit called PewDiePie Submissions, where fans will post memes and messages for the star to feature in his LWIAY (Last Week I Asked You) episodes. During his video on September 20, he scoured through the subreddit in search of content, and after looking through several memes, he came across a particularly emotional submission. The video is titled “This Reddit post got me teared up…” – and while he doesn’t actually get that post until the end of the video, he does have a surprisingly emotional reaction to the post from a long-time fan at the 21:20 mark. This fan explained that they first started watching PewDiePie videos in 2014, and said his content helped with their self-harm and eating disorder issues. PewDiePie’s own struggles in school gave the viewer something to relate to, and they explained how these hardships helped them feel less alone in the world. The YouTube star responded to the heartwarming post with a sincere message and motivation for the viewer to keep going. “That’s so sweet,” he replied, fighting back tears. “The feels out of nowhere. Keep staying strong, I’m proud of you.” It was an unexpected moment in an otherwise upbeat and funny video, but it goes to show how much impact a content creator can have on another person’s life. Read More: Why has PewDiePie stopped Pew News? – Many viewers use streamers and YouTubers as an outlet, and you’ll oftentimes see donations or messages like this that thank them for doing what they do. Sometimes, people go to streamers when they believe they have exhausted all of their options, such as when Jaryd ‘summit1g‘ Lazar received a suicidal donation and immediately let the viewer know he could stick around with him and his chat. While people like PewDiePie might seem like they have a pretty simple job, there’s a whole lot more on their plate than some might expect.

PewDiePie calls David Dobrik “shady” and “weird” in livestream – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls David Dobrik “shady” and “weird” in livestream Instagram: @pewdiepie / @daviddobrikPewDiePie called David Dobrik “shady” and “weird” after learning about the shocking sexual assault allegations against him regarding a bizarre non-consensual ‘kissing prank.’ David Dobrik has come under fire for shocking sexual assault allegations regarding a ‘kissing prank’ he played on Seth Francois in a YouTube video in 2017. He was reportedly tricked into doing a non-consensual kiss, which traumatized him. The situation has been a talking point ever since. David responded to the allegations and claimed Seth ‘consented’ to the prank. However, people don’t believe him, and they’ve been review-bombing his new app to raise awareness about the allegations. Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg weighed in on the issue during a livestream. He had nothing positive to say about David. He described him as “shady” and weird” and wondered how he’s been able to fly under the radar for so long. “[He] seems hella shady, dude,” said PewDiePie. “I don’t know much about David, but… my radar flicks up a bit. I kind of got the same feeling about him as I got from Logan Paul when not everyone hated Logan Paul.” “Don’t get me wrong. His videos are really entertaining. But he always gave me that weird [vibe]. How is he able to get away with all this sh*t?’ He’s doing so much weird sh*t. If I did that, I’d be canceled. How is he doing it?” It’s a question that many fans have been asking themselves, too. https://twitter.com/defnoodles/status/1368657590289190914 Interestingly, PewDiePie isn’t the only big name to say negative things about him. Danielle Bregoli, better known as Bhad Bhabie, claimed she has “creepy” stories about him. Ethan Klein has also been pressing the matter to seek justice for Seth. David hasn’t commented on the situation a second time. However, if the reported sexual assault allegations against him really are true, people want him to own up to it, apologize, and explain what happened.

PewDiePie destroys James Charles’ apology video to Tati – Dexerto
PewDiePie destroys James Charles’ apology video to Tati PewDiePie, James Charles – YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is no stranger to controversy, and has made several apology videos following his scandals throughout the years – and now, he’s using his experience to dissect the apology video of beauty guru James Charles. Charles uploaded a teary, eight-minute-long apology video on May 10, following Tati Westbrook’s 43-minute-long “Bye Sister” video that exposed Charles for allegedly using his fame to “manipulate” the sexuality of straight men and promoting a product from her direct competitor. Many fans weren’t impressed with Charles’ apology on the topic, and his video has since become one of the most disliked uploads on YouTube of all time – prompting PewDiePie to step in and pinpoint exactly where Charles went wrong. Kjellberg called Charles’ video a “trainwreck,” noting that the beauty guru didn’t explain much of the controversy currently surrounding him and spoke incredibly slowly throughout the duration of his message, also taking issue with Charles claiming that he would “make more mistakes” in the future before making visible efforts to improve. “…this video did nothing,” PewDiePie said of Charles’ apology. “…I don’t know how James is going to come back from this. I think this actually could be the end, I don’t know.” This wouldn’t be the first time PewDiePie has spoken out on the drama between Tati and Charles, either; in fact, Kjellberg appeared to pin the blame on Tati once the drama went live, claiming that he “had a lot of problems” with her statements in a Tweet before making his own video on the subject. I got a lot of problems with this Tati video, am I the only one? :face_with_cowboy_hat: — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) May 11, 2019 PewDiePie “couldn’t imagine” why Tati addressed her beef with Charles in such a public manner, rather than hashing it out between the two of them – and even felt she was using their feud to advertise her own vitamin brand, Halo. “I can’t imagine making a video just publicly dragging someone instead of talking to them,” PewDiePie said of Tati’s video. “…“What has that to do with Tati’s brand? This is an ad.” [Time stamp: 10:23 for mobile users] Tati has since released a second video on the issue, begging fans to stop dragging Charles with offensive memes and language, claiming that she’d made her initial statement as a “last-ditch effort” to reach Charles, as he was “unreachable.” Tati’s spiel about Charles saw a massive drop in subscribers for the young YouTuber, costing him nearly three million subs – while Tati herself has risen to over 10 million subscribers in the aftermath of the drama.

PewDiePie brings back PewNews to defend iDubbbz amid “simp” controversy – Dexerto
PewDiePie brings back PewNews to defend iDubbbz amid “simp” controversy YouTube: PewDiePie / iDubbbzTVFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg brought back his PewNews show to give his take on the “simp” backlash surrounding YouTuber Ian ‘iDubbbz’ Carter. iDubbbz has been facing criticism from segments of his fan base since early March, which culminated with him hitting back at some of his followers in a video he uploaded on the 28th. Now YouTube king PewDiePie has decided to weigh in on the controversy in his March 29 episode of PewNews. The Swedish entertainer defended the content creator by asking why anyone “cares” about the personality’s personal life. PewDiePie weighs in on iDubbbz controversy The backlash kicked off on March 9 when iDubbbz girlfriend, social media influencer Anisa Jomha, revealed she was posing for photos, and selling the private content through a subscription service. His support for her decision sparked memes about the YouTuber, calling him a “simp.” While admitting it was awkward to discuss the topic, PewDiePie decided to address it.”This is really awkward, because I really like iDubbbz. I respect him a lot. He’s a good dude. I’ve worked with him. I would even say he’s an important figure for the internet,” he said. However, the Swede was confused by people using the ‘simp’ term. “I thought simp was the person that paid for stuff, but didn’t get any of the action. I thought that was the definition. The people who do anything for a woman, just in the hope of something. It doesn’t make any sense. Per definition, you are false,” he continued. Pewds broke down what he felt was the root of the controversy for some people and explained, “A lot of this boils down to, is you create an intimacy with other people online. Generally in a relationship, having that intimacy, for a lot of people, is something special you two share.” He also theorized that the backlash was the result of the content creator being so beloved. “I find it hard to believe that this many people care about someone else’s relationship. I think it’s because it’s iDubbbz. The golden boy. If this was anyone else, no one would really give a s**t,” he said. The entertainer went on to say that he believed no one should care what people choose to do in their private lives. “I wouldn’t be okay with it. But at least he’s exuberating confidence by publicly saying he’s okay with it. If he’s truly okay with it, who cares? Why care?” (Timestamp 00:32 for mobile users.) PewDiePie tackled the whole thing from all sides, and agreed that iDubbbz’s response came off “a tad bit defensive” and “cherry picked.” However, he also pointed out that the YouTuber and his girlfriend were likely dealing with stress and harassment behind the scenes. While the Swede is mostly known for his gaming and sarcastic reaction content, this goes to show that he’s also willing to tackle touchy subjects that affect the online community.

PewDiePie gets boost following Jake Paul’s “infiltration” of T-Series HQ – Dexerto
PewDiePie gets boost following Jake Paul’s “infiltration” of T-Series HQ PewDiePie / T-Series / Jake Paul YouTubePopular YouTuber Jake Paul went on a mission all the way to T-Series’ Indian headquarters for an elaborate scheme to bolster PewDiePie who finds himself way down in the race against the music label. After amassing a strong lead of over 100,000 subs, PewDiePie looked near unstoppable as he was starting to pull away from his YouTube rival. Though a startling change of events led to that gap disappearing almost instantly, and raised the alarms for the Bro Fist army. Even though Jake and PewDiePie have had their differences in the past, the younger Paul brother put those disputes aside in an attempt to help out Pewds come back from an 800,000 subscriber hole. A covert plan for people to Sub to PewDiePie To raise awareness for PewDiePie, Paul schemed a plan to get into the T-Series headquarters while wearing “Subscribe to PewDiePie” shirts. From the beginning, the YouTuber and his friend were visibly anxious to go through the ordeal, but they were determined to pull off the stunt to hopefully get PewDiePie back on level with the Indian music label. During the drive to the studio, they admittedly had no idea how they were going to pull of their infiltration of the headquarters. As soon as they exited their taxi, they noticed people around them immediately glancing at them wherever they went. (Timestamp at 7:24 for mobile viewers) Plan breaks down mid-way Paul and his friend were getting more nervous by the minute, but the two got a blessing in disguise when they were instantly recognized outside the front gates of the building. A small group of students walked up to Paul and invited them into the school building across the way from T-Series’ main headquarters. While in there, the YouTuber was starting to feel the pressure of wearing PewDiePie’s name emblazoned on the front of his shirt. After a few walkthroughs around the rooms inside T-Series’ college, Paul was looking to go into the main headquarters of the company. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t allowed to actually go into the building without prior notice and were turned around when trying to go in. Even though they didn’t make it into T-Series’ headquarters, Paul still chalked up the endeavor as a win since they “finessed” their way into lesser seen parts of the company. PewDiePie has a long way to come back from if he’s wants to take over T-Series again, so it’ll be interesting to see what the next major stunt from a vlogger will hold.

PewDiePie blown away by Unreal Engine 5: ‘All games should look like this’ – Dexerto
PewDiePie blown away by Unreal Engine 5: ‘All games should look like this’ YouTube/PewDiePieYouTube legend PewDiePie was left absolutely stunned after checking out what Unreal Engine 5 is capable of and what video games could look like in the future. Unreal Engine 5 was showcased heavily in the form of a tech demo with The Matrix Awakens – an on-rails shooter game available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. When PewDiePie checked out the game, he was amazed by how realistic everything looked and was truly in awe at what was possible with the new engine. In a new YouTube video, Pewds explained what he liked and what he feels needs to be improved going forward to create an even more immersive experience. PewDiePie stunned by The Matrix Awakens on Unreal Engine 5 As the YouTuber checked out the tech demo, he noted how realistic everything seemed if you didn’t “focus on anything” else. “Like, when you see the background. Oh man, it’s so trippy,” he said. “It’s the backgrounds. The people are still off, but still.” While the character models may not have been as up to snuff as the rest of the graphics, he still found a lot to be excited about. “Okay, look at anything but the people. The explosion looked fake as hell, but whatever. It’s so trippy. They better not be lying. Unreal Engine 5, if you’re lying, I’m going to be super mad at you,” he joked. “I want all games to look like this, you understand me?” Hopefully, games using the engine can improve on areas where the King of YouTube has concern and can continue to make even greater strives towards realism in the near future.

PewDiePie blown away by MrBeast’s “crazy” Squid Game video – Dexerto
PewDiePie blown away by MrBeast’s “crazy” Squid Game video PewDiePie / MrBeastFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, YouTube’s most subscribed creator, was left blown away during his reaction video over the logistics of Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s Squid Game replica. On November 24, after months of anticipation, MrBeast released his version of Netflix’s hit series Squid Game, which has since become the most-watched show on the subscription service ever. Throughout the video, you can see 456 participants battle it out by playing children’s games such as Red Light Green Light, Tug of War, Dalgona, and marbles – just like the real show. MrBeast who’s known for his fun and philanthropic videos spent over $3.5M on his rendition of the show. In just 24 hours the video reached over 42M views. Long-time friend and the most subscribed YouTuber in the world PewDiePie even uploaded a reaction video, where he was left blown away over the logistics of MrBeast’s recreation. During PewDiePie’s video uploaded on November 26, the creator reviewed MrBeast’s Squid Game recreation. The YouTube king himself was instantly impressed at the logistics of handling 456 participants. Repeatedly throughout the video, PewDiePie questioned how MrBeast could keep track of everybody and was shocked at how real the video looked. “This is crazy. It looks like he turned up after they shot the series and was like alright can I use the set?” said the YouTube star. Towards the end of the video, PewDiePie noticed MrBeast’s voice was beginning to wear out. Kjellberg praised MrBeast on how much effort was put in the video – and recognized how he was likely filming all day. “Can you tell his voice is going down here? They must’ve worked so hard or filmed so long,” he added. “You hear it right? His voice, he’s been yelling all day. God bless.” It’s a surprise to nobody who’s familiar with MrBeast that his video has gone viral – amassing 80M views in under three days. If anybody was to do a Squid Game recreation justice, it’s MrBeast and it shows.

PewDiePie blasts the Wall Street Journal in light of hackers’ “apology letter” – Dexerto
PewDiePie blasts the Wall Street Journal in light of hackers’ “apology letter” PewDiePie, YouTube / The Wall Street JournalYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg came under fire for promoting an anti-Semitic YouTube channel in a video on December 9. In response to the media’s coverage of the scandal, hackers took matters into their own hands, publishing a fake apology letter on the Wall Street Journal’s website in response to their 2017 article on the YouTuber. While the WSJ’s previous piece covered a scandal from early 2017, where PewDiePie garnered massive backlash for making an anti-Semitic joke in an attempt to test the limits of freelance site ‘Fiverr,’ his latest debacle has unleashed further criticism, prompting hackers to infiltrate the news site to hit back at the media. PewDiePie addressed the hackers’ efforts in an episode of ‘Pew News’ on December 20, where he made a few scalding comments toward the WSJ and their staff. Upon reading the faux apology aloud (which claimed that a few of the WSJ reporters had been fired), PewDiePie put their writers on blast, calling them “hypocrites” due to a few of their Tweets he’d found online and deemed questionable. “That’s nice,” Pewds commented. “They finally realized that their own reporters are complete hypocrites, and they’ve said things that are irrefutably anti-Semitic.” Pewds went on to congratulate the hackers for their massive stunt and called out the WSJ for promoting sponsored articles through their advertising group ‘the WSJ Custom Solutions Team,’ where the fake apology had reportedly been posted. The WSJ has since deleted the ‘apology,’ publishing a response statement that clarified their lack of involvement in the scandal.

PewDiePie becomes first YouTuber to hit 102 million subscribers – Dexerto
PewDiePie becomes first YouTuber to hit 102 million subscribers [jwplayer IX7jLp7f-dXeUz4Ko] Together with G Fuel. Buy Pewdiepie’s new flavor here. PewDiePie is, without doubt, one of the biggest stars on YouTube. He hit 100 million subscribers in 2019 after a battle for the top spot with production company T-Series. Despite losing out to the company in the long run, he remains the most subscribed individual on the platform by far and shows no signs of slowing down. Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg has held the title of most-subscribed channel on-and-off since August 2013, with his longest reign lasting 1920 days from December 23, 2013, until T-Series overtook him on March 27, 2019. Despite T-Series running away with the title, Pewds’ success has been nothing short of incredible and, despite one of his slowest months in recent years, he still managed to reach another milestone on October 28, 2019. Pewdiepie has hit 102 million subs just over a month after reaching 101 million. PewDiePie hits 102 million subscribers The Swedish video creator has become the first individual YouTuber to reach 102 million subscribers on the platform, and this comes despite one of his slowest periods of growth in recent memory. In September 2019, he ‘only’ gained just shy of 240,000 subscribers, which is the lowest he’s earned in a month since September 2017, exactly two years prior. Updated figures for October 2019 are not yet available, but will likely show a big upward trend from his September growth. This slowdown in growth could be for a number of reasons. Kjellberg tied the knot with fiance Marzia Bisognin in August and was less active on YouTube while they honeymooned, which is likely the biggest contributor. There has also been some speculation about Pewds being banned in China, although there is some confusion surrounding that particular topic. If his channel is indeed undiscoverable in China, he could potentially be missing out on a huge market that could be slowing down his potential growth. Pewdiepie’s growth reached its lowest point since September 2017. Changes to real-time tracking of new subscribers for top YouTubers may also be a factor in the slight dip in growth. Fans could once watch their favorite creator’s sub count change by the second. This was a feature that gained huge popularity during the PewDiePie vs. T-Series race as thousands would flock to ‘live streams’ that simply showed the sub count for each channel as the gap gradually shifted over the course of months. A policy change announced in August of 2019 meant that these live counts would no longer be possible and it was this announcement that prompted PewDiePie to set a new ‘deadline’ for hitting 100 million subscribers: he wanted to smash the massive milestone while people could still watch it happen live. There is a possibility that the loss of this feature has also created a loss in interest in the general day-to-day changes of YouTuber’s subscriber count. When you’re talking about someone that already has over 100 million of them, this could certainly have an impact! Of course, most mere mortals would be more than happy with the growth that PewDiePie is currently seeing, and the king of YouTube has often made it clear that his sub count isn’t what makes him come back almost every single day to make another video. Since Pewdiepie reached 101 million subscribers in early September, T-Series has grown from 111 to 116m, figures that he simply can’t keep up with even in his best form. It’ll be tough to overtake the Indian production company once again, but PewDiePie is no stranger to breaking records.

PewDiePie begs for privacy after being ambushed by fans during dinner – Dexerto
PewDiePie begs for privacy after being ambushed by fans during dinner PewDiePie, YouTube / PacificCoastNews.comYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg saw a massive increase in his internet fame thanks to his battle with Bollywood music label T-Series – but it looks like the Swede is growing tired of his stardom. PewDiePie spoke out on the issue during a video with fellow YouTuber CinnamonToastKen on April 27, recalling an instance where he and his fiance, Marzia Bisognin, were recognized while ordering at a McDonald’s drive thru. “More and more, now, when I get recognized, I say ‘no’ if the situation is really bad,” Kjellberg began. “…We were like, ‘We just want to eat, we don’t want to be recognized.’” [Timestamp: 5:18 for mobile viewers] Unfortunately for Kjellberg, a slew of children came running their way after realizing who they were – including one particularly insistent mother. “…I was like, ‘Sorry, I’m just trying to have dinner,’” PewDiePie continued. “I feel like the worst asshole saying that. …I just wish they understand, I’m just eating or doing something. I don’t want to exit my car to take a photo.” https://twitter.com/pewdiepie/status/1117876212330713088?s=20PewDiePie’s past fan encounters This is far from the first time Kjellberg has mentioned being overwhelmed by his fame; in fact, the YouTuber has made several videos on the topic, even claiming that fans would find his address and harass him outside of his home. “I’ve even had parents coming over with their kids,” Kjellberg said in a 2016 video on the topic. “…Just because you found my address doesn’t mean you found an invitation for you to come over.” Kjellberg has moved several times in an attempt to combat the issue, with fans going so far as to discover the location of his Los Angeles residence during the filming of his YouTube Red show, ‘Scare PewDiePie.’ Other online personalities receive unwelcome fan visits Kjellberg isn’t the only internet personality to have been harassed by overeager fans, by far; popular cosplayer Jessica Nigri published a solemn series of Tweets after a stalker visited her home in mid-March, begging fans to respect her privacy. I hate to have to say this…I shouldn’t have to say this… It is never okay to come to someone’s house you follow online. Good intentions or not, please please please respect people’s privacy. Coming to their homes is NEVER OKAY. FOR ANY REASON. — JESSICA NIGRI (@OJessicaNigri) March 22, 2019 “It is never okay to come to someone’s house you follow online,” Nigri said of the debacle. “Good intentions or not, please please please respect people’s privacy. Coming to their homes is NEVER OKAY.” In a similar vein, YouTuber Adam Saleh saw law enforcement called to his home after several suspicious cars were seen making rounds in his neighborhood – marking yet another instance out of hundreds wherein YouTubers have been made to feel unsafe due to their online following.

PewDiePie beats T-Series to another YouTube subscriber milestone as race to 100 million begins – Dexerto
PewDiePie beats T-Series to another YouTube subscriber milestone as race to 100 million begins Despite having been briefly overtaken on a number of occasions, Swedish YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg has managed to breach the 90 million subscribers mark first, ahead of the chasing T-Series. Since late 2018, PewDiePie, his fans and fellow YouTubers, have been on a seemingly never-ending mission to fend off Indian record label and production company T-Series, who have been gaining on the Swede’s previously unchallenged top subscriber spot. PewDiePie held on, beating T-Series to 70 million, 80 million and now, on March 18, the big 90 million subscribers. He hasn’t done it alone though, as support from YouTubers like MrBeast, Jacksepticeye and KEEMSTAR, as well as numerous celebrities (including Elon Musk, who even appeared on one of PewDiePie’s videos) have all been crucial in keeping him on top. But, as the months have gone on, the threat from T-Series has not subsided, and in mid-march, they briefly stole the top spot on three separate occasions. As of March 19, at 7AM EST, PewDiePie’s lead was just over 1,000 subscribers, and it seems inevitable that one of these days, he will eventually be beaten for good. PewDiePie vs T-Series live subscriber count The next target will be 100 million, but in order to reach that ridiculous number first, PewDiePie will have to come up with some innovative ideas to boost his numbers. Social statistics tracking website SocialBlade estimates that PewDiePie will hit 100 million subs on June 4, 2019, while T-Series is estimated to reach that same number on May 17, 2019. You can keep up to date with the battle for YouTube supremacy with the PewDiePie vs T-Series live subscriber count. It’s been a turbulent week for PewDiePie, not least as the phrase ‘subscribe to PewDiePie’ was uttered by the Christchurch mosque shooter, which prompted the YouTuber to respond, explaining that it “sickened” him. T-Series meanwhile has been rallying Indian internet users to get behind their channel as a source of some kind of national pride, which shows just how significant it would be to finally overtake PewDiePie.

PewDiePie beats T-Series to another major YouTube milestone – will he ever lose? – Dexerto
PewDiePie beats T-Series to another major YouTube milestone – will he ever lose? In the midst of his intense rivalry with Bollywood label T-Series, YouTube superstar Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has added another major milestone to his extensive list of accolades. At approximately 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET on March 4, PewDiePie managed to hit and surpass 88 million subscribers, becoming the first YouTuber ever to reach that mark. He will likely be joined soon by T-Series, who currently sit at around 87,960,000 subs, as they inch closer and closer to passing the Swede. T-Series currently sit at around 42,500 subs behind Pewds in this intense race, and professional analysts project that that the Bollywood brand will eventually take the lead on March 9. However, if the King of YouTube is able to retain his crown past that, as he’s been able to do with every other projections to this point, he may become the first ever YouTube to also hit the 90 million subscriber mark, which would be a huge achievement. Despite PewDiePie’s status as most subscribed to YouTuber, which he’s held for a number of years, the question of T-Series passing him has become a matter of when and not if. When the Bollywood label first emerged as a legitimate challenge, many predicted them to pass the Swede in early January, although that has obviously ended up not being the case. Thanks to several star guest appearances, live gaming sessions of Fortnite and Roblox, and hilarious ad campaigns and signs at the Super Bowl, Pewds has managed to avoid numerous close calls and hold on to his lead. You can keep a close eye on this raging battle between PewDiePie and T-Series via our live-subscriber counter, which instantly updates the official sub count of both channels side-by-side 24 hours a day. Make sure to follow us on Twitter @Dexerto as we will keep you updated on the race, including any potential milestones as they happen.

PewDiePie beaten by 8-year-old on YouTube top earners list – Dexerto
PewDiePie beaten by 8-year-old on YouTube top earners list Popular content creator Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg has been surprisingly beaten in YouTube earnings by young stars, such as Ryan’s World, on the video-sharing platform in 2019, according to a report by Forbes. Although PewDiePie is far-and-away the most subscribed individual YouTuber on the video-sharing site, it seems as if he may have been overtaken by some of his fellow content creators in earnings. It may come as a surprise to many of the popular Swede’s fans that this year, the title as the highest-earning creator on YouTube belongs to a young child. The number 1 spot is now held by eight-year-old star Ryan Kaji, who has built a massive following of 23 million subscribers on his ‘Ryan’s World’ channel, known for creating many educational videos such as conducting various science experiments. It was reported that Ryan’s annual earnings were estimated to be over $26 million per year, which doubled the amount of PewDiePie’s estimated revenue in 2019, who was placed 7th on the earnings list. Although Ryan is ranked on top of the YouTube earnings list, it also takes into account alternative streams of revenue and in the young star’s case, he has his own toy line with over 100 products as well as a Nickelodeon TV deal that likely contributes to a large portion of the revenue. Many other notable stars have also made the list, with popular creators such as Dude Perfect and Jeffree Star falling behind Ryan Kaji’s impressive annual income. You can find the full list of YouTuber earnings below. Ryan Kaji – $26 million – Dude Perfect – $20 million – Anastasia Radzinskaya – $18 million – Rhett and Link – $17.5 million – Jeffree Star – $17 million – Preston (Preston Arsement) – $14 million – PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) – $13 million – Markiplier (Mark Fischbach) – $13 million – DanTDM (Daniel Middleton) – $12 million – VanossGaming (Evan Fong) – $11.5 million – Despite not quite reaching the number one spot, PewDiePie has still had a very successful year, becoming the first individual creator to reach 100 million subscribers, creating an incredibly popular Minecraft series and has even launched his own mobile games for his fans to enjoy. However, it seems unlikely that the Swedish star will catch up to Ryan’s World anytime soon, as he recently announced that he would be taking a break from uploading to his YouTube channel while listing fatigue as one of his main reasons.

PewDiePie banned from Roblox after surprise livestream amid YouTube battle with T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie banned from Roblox after surprise livestream amid YouTube battle with T-Series PewDiePie / Lindon RBLX YouTubeYouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg’s Roblox account has been banned after he live streamed himself playing the game in an attempt to stay ahead of Indian music label, T-Series. At the time of writing, PewDiePie is hovering around a mere 56,000 subs above T-Series, so the content creator turned to desperate measures by streaming Roblox in an attempt to widen the gap. Pewds put together a pretty popular game of Roblox as his server had more than 15,000 concurrent people playing alongside the YouTuber. The ban was another entry in a list of apparently puzzling mod choices from the Roblox team, as fans voiced their confusion on the ban which led the devs to give a response. Read more: Dr Disrespect takes aim at shroud ahead of upcoming Apex Legends Twitch Rivals tournament – “PewDiePie is no longer permitted on Roblox due to his content redirecting to unsafe and inappropriate sites/channels, as well as continued inappropriate behavior, that would not be permitted on Roblox, on his own channel,” a Roblox staff member said. Although there is skepticism on the legitimacy of the user’s status as a staff member at Roblox, PewDiePie’s account, ‘pewdie123t32,’ and Roblox game server have been disabled. Sources close to the Roblox Corporation has told YouTuber ‘greenlegocats123’ that the company “does not moderate people for off-site activity.” A rule that greenlegocats123 highlights as the reason why users believed to be pedophiles have kept their accounts, since their wrongdoings were done on other sites. I’ve been told by very reliable sources a few times that Roblox does not ban pedos such as Jordy24097 and DjMykal because what they do is off-site, but then they say thid about PewDiePie? pic.twitter.com/wUTTeaFmiP — Lord CowCow (@greenlegocats) February 11, 2019 Unfortunately, Roblox fans are accustomed to questionable moderation decisions from the Roblox devs, but fans are speculating that this ban might be a bit more personal than others. T-Series is drawing near to eclipsing the Pewd’s sub count, and it doesn’t seem like the Swedish YouTuber will get anymore support through Roblox content.

PewDiePie backs YouTube’s updated policy on offensive Super Chats – Dexerto
PewDiePie backs YouTube’s updated policy on offensive Super Chats YouTube’s new policy on offensive Super Chats has seen plenty of outrage – but the most subscribed creator on the platform doesn’t find an issue with the development. YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg addressed YouTube’s updated Super Chat policy in a ‘Pew News’ video on November 8, where he discussed the issue in relation to a Wall Street Journal article on the subject. Read More: Popular YouTube host accuses Wall Street Journal of canceling over $26,000 in donation funds – According to PewDiePie, it wouldn’t make sense for YouTube to take their usual 30% cut from offensive Super Chats, claiming that it would tarnish the platform’s image to take money from hateful comments. “It’s their service,” PewDiePie said of the issue. “If they get caught taking money from these types of messages, it doesn’t look good for YouTube. In a way, I feel like this is a valid response.” PewDiePie also mused that offensive Super Chats might act as a kind of game, where audiences try to undermine the automated system set in place specifically to prevent hate speech. “Somehow they slip through,” he continued. “That’s part of the game with these donations, is, ‘What kind of message can we put in there that passes the system?’” To surmise YouTube’s new policy on the issue, the platform no longer splits donations from offensive Super Chats with the creator in question; now, YouTube donates the entire amount to a charity of their choosing. This policy became an issue when an article from the Wall Street Journal targeted several controversial livestreams on the site, one of which was the Ralph Retort Killstream. According to the show’s host, Nick Monroe, the WSJ pressured YouTube to cancel over $26,000 in donations, which were set to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

PewDiePie appears to poke fun at Justin Trudeau over blackface scandal – Dexerto
PewDiePie appears to poke fun at Justin Trudeau over blackface scandal PewDiePie, YouTube / G20 Argentina, Wikimedia CommonsCanadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shocked the net after a photo surfaced of the leader wearing brownface makeup at a 2001 “Arabian Nights” themed gala – and the world’s biggest YouTuber is now weighing in on the scandal. YouTube star Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg addressed the matter during a video uploaded on October 2, which featured one of his signature “you laugh, you lose” challenges. One of the jokes in his video commented on Trudeau’s brownface debacle – an issue that reportedly occurred multiple times, with video footage later surfacing of the Prime Minister wearing blackface and an afro wig during a boating trip. https://time.com/5680759/justin-trudeau-brownface-photo/“He even covered his hands [with paint],” PewDiePie commented. “Who does that? So many times! You know, if you do a mistake once, fine. A couple times, fine. But enough times, and it’s just become real.” The YouTuber seemed to realize the irony of his statement, considering his own slew of past scandals, and quickly backtracked, making a point to joke about his controversies in light of Trudeau’s repeated offenses. (Timestamp: 0:39 for mobile viewers) “Oh god,” Kjellberg continued. “Oh, no. I take back everything I just said, okay! You can make as many mistakes as possible! It doesn’t mean anything. I swear it means nothing! Coincidence! It’s society, I tell you! At least you won’t catch me in blackface.” Thus far, three separate instances have been discovered in which Trudeau wore blackface, with the PM himself dodging questions on how many times he’d worn such offensive apparel – even claiming that he’s “always… been more enthusiastic about costumes than is sometimes appropriate.” @JustinTrudeau in blackface at Jean Brebeuf high school. #cdnpoli #elxn43 #BreakingNews pic.twitter.com/q6v5bgYJvJ — Robert Fife (@RobertFife) September 19, 2019 While Trudeau is currently under the magnifying glass of the media, PewDiePie himself has likewise dealt with ample controversies during his career, with his latest scandal related to a Georgian Bolnisi Cross worn during a video rescinding his donation to the Anti Defamation League. Critics of the YouTuber claimed he was using an alleged “Iron Cross” as a dog whistle to white supremacists – a claim that Kejllberg vehemently denied in a subsequent video, arguing that he wasn’t aware of the potential similarities to the Iron Cross and didn’t “care about these tiny Nazi references.” PewDiePie is YouTube’s most subscribed independent creator, boasting over 101 million subscribers – but controversy continues to follow the YouTube star in spite of his massive success on the platform, with his comments on Justin Trudeau being his latest statement in regards to his own past scandals.

PewDiePie faces backlash for India – Pakistan comments amid YouTube race with T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie faces backlash for India – Pakistan comments amid YouTube race with T-Series PewDiePie / YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg faced heavy backlash for his comments on the conflict between Pakistan and India in a March 12 PewNews update, forcing the content creator to delete the segment from his video. PewDiePie briefly touched on the Pulwama terror attack, which is having residual effects in the entertainment industry, as Indian music label T-Series has started pulling content from Pakistani artists. PewDiePie admittedly didn’t know much about the the specifics revolving around the alleged terror attacks, but touched on the recent surge of Pakistani support he received since T-Series started removing Pakistani songs after being pressured by politicians. “Basically what happened was that after the Pulwama terror attack, T-Series removed Pakistani singers’ songs,” PewDiePie said. “… India blamed Pakistans for the attack, but Pakistan condemned the attack and denied any connection to it… But the most important thing out of all of this, is that the Pakistanis are on our side. Pakistan is on our side, T-Series. You’ll regret making this enemy.” The since deleted clip showed a small group of Pakistani musicians and youth rallying in the streets with signs saying “Unsubscribe T-Series.” Edited out the last bit of pew news, I think its clear that I didnt mean anything in a bigger sense of what goes on between India and Pakistan. I was strictly speaking in the context of Tseries and artists getting screwed over, just want to make that clear here. :victory:️ — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) March 12, 2019 PewDiePie later clarified his stance on the issue, saying: “I think it’s clear that I didn’t mean anything in a bigger sense of what goes on between India and Pakistan. I was strictly speaking in the context of T-Series and artists getting screwed over, just want to make that clear here.” Though the YouTuber took out the minute and a half segment regarding T-Series and Pakistan artists, there were negative sentiments among some of his fans. Pewds you should stay away from any countries politics… you don’t intentionally F*** up but you should be more careful while talking:sweat_smile:. You should have done more research boiii — Manthan Tupe (@manthantupemt) March 12, 2019 Are u retarded? Two countries on brink of war and you try to take sides by critising T series for banning artists. Those artists support pakistan go chk their twitter. Are we supposed to pay them for music? You lost 1 subscriber cause this was no joke — Tanuj Sood (@TanujSood3) March 12, 2019 This is too Sensitive topic pew. You didn’t know about that whole story. Even T-series didn’t ban them. it was Indian politicians gave pressure on them to ban those singers. You got a big fan base. you should be very careful about what topic you choose. Remove the whole last part — sree vignesh (@sreev100) March 12, 2019 It seems the video might have had some impact on his race against T-Series, since PewDiePie has increased his lead on the music label to around 20,000 subscribers at the time of writing.

PewDiePie ‘annoyed’ by bizarre YouTube copyright claim on Steve Irwin tribute – Dexerto
PewDiePie ‘annoyed’ by bizarre YouTube copyright claim on Steve Irwin tribute Even the most subscribed YouTuber, Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg is not above the nuisances of the often faulty copyright system on the platform, after a section of his video commemorating Steve Irwin was claimed. As part of a near 17 minute video, Kjellberg played a small segment of footage from one of ‘crocodile hunter’ Steve Irwin’s TV shows, as he responded to controversy caused by PETA’s criticism of the beloved animal conservationist. PETA received widespread backlash after claiming Steve Irwin died while “harassing” a sting ray, and PewDiePie was reviewing the many memes which had cropped up in response to PETA’s statements. In a now removed section of the video, one of the memes was from an Instagram post, and used a section of Steve Irwin’s show, the rights of which apparently belong to Nine Entertainment Co. On March 6, PewDiePie was surprised to find that because of this short clip, on around 30 seconds of the entire 17 minute video, Nine Entertainment had claimed the monetization for the upload. Kinda annoying when youre trying to commemorate someone and the footage gets claimed.. pic.twitter.com/BSuHzIR15w — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) March 6, 2019 Although it’s somewhat legally ambiguous, PewDiePie’s inclusion of the footage would almost certainly be covered under fair use, given the video was transformative and was paired with his commentary and reaction. It appears this segment of the video has now been entirely removed, and the video shortened. Only a matter of hours from his first Tweet, PewDiePie confirmed that the claim had been removed. It’s yet another example of the copyright system on YouTube going awry, an issue PewDiePie himself has been vocal about in his other videos. Although on this occasion it was cleared up within a matter of hours, PewDiePie’s large following and influence on the platform was likely a factor, and other, smaller creators may not have had such an issue resolved so quickly.

And then as soon as I started, people saw my PSN and started spamming me,” he said. The YouTuber also said that even though most of his fans didn’t think it was a big deal, he felt bad for how he acted. “I hate being interrupted, especially if I’m ready to do something, and I kind of just told people to “f**k off” and I’m sorry. I don’t like how I reacted. I never want to tell my fans to f**k off,” he continued. The 30-year old also explained that he loves talking to his viewers, but not when they cross his personal space.”I don’t mind talking to fans. I like doing that. But not when it’s intruding on my own space,” he said, before he reiterated that he wasn’t angry at his fans, just frustrated by those spamming his personal account in the middle of a stream. (Topic starts at 1:16.) The incident the entertainer was talking about happened on July 17 during his first livestream of Sucker Punch Productions latest release Ghost of Tsushima. His attempt to play it in front of thousands of viewers was quickly interrupted when he showed his PlayStation username. As the game’s opening sequence began to play, PewDiePie was suddenly hit with invites and messages on his account. “F**k off! I don’t care. Oh my God, please!” he exclaimed. “Why!? I hate you all so much. You ruin all fun. F**k off, you are so annoying!” The Swedish creator became frustrated as he was overwhelmed with notifications. “F**king children. What, I show my account for two seconds, and this is what you did? Way to ruin everything. Do you guys have no friends, is that the issue? God, you guys, what is your problem?” PewDiePie immediately apologized after getting upset during the broadcast, and stated, “Sorry. I was a little harsh there, I apologize. I regret what I said when I was angry.” However, the creator wanted to make amends again during his July 19 upload. The YouTuber’s frustrating situation was compounded by the enormous amount of people tuning in to watch him live. On average, his streams have been amassing 60k viewers, with some of his broadcasts even peaking at over 120k. If nothing else, it’s a reminder of how careful popular personalities have to be with keeping their information hidden.

PewDiePie announces when he’s returning to YouTube and teases “big” reveal – Dexerto
PewDiePie announces when he’s returning to YouTube and teases “big” reveal YouTube: PewDiePieAfter weeks away from YouTube, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg broke his silence and announced when he is returning to the video platform. He also teased a “big” reveal – but what could it be? [jwplayer IX7jLp7f] PewDiePie stunned subscribers at the start of 2021 when he revealed that he would be taking a break from YouTube for an undisclosed amount of time. Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait too long for his return as on the evening of January 20, he announced when he is coming back to the video platform, as well as revealing he has a surprise for viewers. PewDiePie teases epic return to YouTube – and a “big” reveal At the start of January, the YouTuber confessed to fans that he needed time off for his mental health. “I don’t really take breaks and I feel like I just need it,” he said. Almost three weeks later, the star announced his return in an Instagram Story. “Gamers, the long awaited return will happen on the 23rd of this month,” he said, while hilariously having a Minecraft avatar filter over his face. He then surprised his followers by teasing an announcement. “Big reveal. Be there!” Read More: xChocoBars ends Among Us stream in tears – While it’s not entirely clear what the big reveal is, it could be his long-awaited Cocomelon diss track. Fans have been begging the creator for a new song after the kids’ YouTube channel started inching closer to him in subscribers. The star’s use of a Minecraft filter in the short clip might also be a hint that he is cooking up something in the Mojang title. In 2020, the Swedish star signed a major deal with Google to stream exclusively on their platform. This isn’t the first time the YouTuber has teased new content for his channel. “I’m working on bigger projects as well,” he stated in February 2020. Whatever the reveal ends up being, we are sure fans will end up loving it.

PewDiePie angered by petition to ban him from YouTube for white supremacist content – Dexerto
PewDiePie angered by petition to ban him from YouTube for white supremacist content PewDiePie, YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg might be the biggest creator on the platform, but one petition is seeking to ban him from the site – and he’s not pleased with the movement. Kjellberg spoke out on the petition in a ‘Pew News’ segment on April 7, where he decried the article’s “defamatory” claims and noted that several of its allegations were completely baseless. “It’s so blatantly misrepresenting and misinforming people,” PewDiePie said of the petition. “A lot of these points are just flat-out lies, as well. …it’s surprising how Change.org is even letting this be up, because there’s nothing to back up any of the claims.” The YouTuber went on to note that the petitioner had claimed that, even if he were to “clean up his act,” his comment section would still be a “cesspool of white supremacist activities” – an argument that PewDiePie called “meek,” “weasely,” and “tiring.” “If you have a problem with my comments section, feel free to criticize my comments section, but don’t use the listing of all these things as some sort of shield for your point,” he continued. Hitting back at Wil Wheaton Of course, signers of the Change.org petition aren’t the only group firing shots at PewDiePie; actor Wil Wheaton likewise published a scathing post about the YouTuber via Facebook, where he called Kjellberg a “racist, piece of shit bigot.” “This is such a strawman argument,” PewDiePie said of Wil’s post. “…this implies that all my content is just filled with racial jokes and slurs.” Kjellberg’s charity work Although Kjellberg felt that doing so was “self-gratifying,” he went on to recount the number of charity drives he’s held in the past as a means of self-defense, noting that and his fanbase had raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to multiple charities. “No, doing charity work does no absolve your shortcomings – that’s not what anyone is saying,” PewDiePie explained. “….constantly having all these negative things listed without acknowledging any of the positives is gonna paint a bad picture of anyone.” Despite these attacks, PewDiePie continues to see success on YouTube, reaching a record-breaking 93 million subscribers ahead of Bollywood label T-Series after releasing his ‘Congratulations’ diss track in late March.

PewDiePie breaks silence to reveal he’s returning to YouTube very soon – Dexerto
PewDiePie breaks silence to reveal he’s returning to YouTube very soon YouTube: PewDiePieThe king of YouTube is back — more than a month after officially packing away the camera and disappearing to Japan in a self-imposed hiatus to “reset,” Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is set to return with a new video upload. YouTube’s biggest creator has been offline since January 15, after he admitted he needed time away from the platform. He followed through on that promise with one last upload, and since then has largely been out of the public eye. It’s been a strange month for 103-million strong The Bro Army, who had become used to the near-daily uploads from the Swedish personality over the past decade. Outside of peeks into what he’s been up to through wife Marzia, and a hilarious clip of Pewds enjoying his break at a Karaoke bar with Australian YouTuber Joey ‘The Anime Man’ Bizinger and friends, it’s been radio silence. 36 days later, however, it looks like the king is ready to return to the YouTube grind, with the Swede confirming a new upload will be appearing on his channel “for the first time in 30 days” in the very near future. Pewdiepie appeared in an Instagram story upload on February 20, seemingly relaxing back at home and already on the content grind, to confirm the news. “Tomorrow, I’m back from break guys, so look forward to it for tomorrow’s upload,” he said, and said it was “awesome” to be returning after his break. “It’s going to be a video for the first time in 30 days… see you guys tomorrow.” While Pewdiepie was lax on the details for his impending upload, it can be assumed his first vlog back may go over a few of the details of his month-long break from the limelight, as well as what he plans to do in 2020 and beyond. Before announcing his extended break, Pewds likely struggled with the concern his channel, and career, may take a hit if headed out the door. Now that he’s on the verge of returning, it looks like there was nothing to be worried about. While Pewdiepie has been AWOL for most of 2020, his channel has still been doing work in his absence — his loyal Bro Army fans binged his final upload more than 23 million times, and he’s still been garnering subscribers. In fact, his subscription pace has barely slowed despite the fact his last video release was nearly 40 days ago. According to stats from SocialBlade, the YouTuber has been collecting as many 33,000 new subs every day, on average. Now, fans will be eagerly awaiting his return. No matter what he uploads first, it’s sure to be a smash hit as his millions of fans — and other curious onlookers from across the internet — tune in to see what the YouTube king has cooked up next.

PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye take cheeky dig at YouTube pranksters during Minecraft adventure – Dexerto
PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye take cheeky dig at YouTube pranksters during Minecraft adventure YouTube: PewDiePie / JacksepticeyeFelix ‘Minecraft adventure. The Swede and the Irishman are two of YouTube’s biggest names, regularly drawing millions of viewers to their channels, most recently being to watch them play Minecraft. While the pair have focused on their escapades in Mojang’s popular sandbox game recently, that didn’t stop them from taking a sly dig at some of YouTube’s prank channels, and the way in which they attempt to gain subscribers with editing that goes overboard, plus tricks which often appear to be fake or staged. To kick off their latest episode, PewDiePie pulled a “prank” on his teammate, hiding behind a house while Jacksepticeye farmed in front of him. “He’s over farming potatoes, and we’re going to play an epic prank on him,” the Swede exclaimed, and the Irishman pretended he had no clue what was happening. Pewds immediately pulled out a Flint & Steel, setting the ground in front of the farm on fire, yelling: “Oh, Jack is on fire,” as the screen turned multi-colored and emojis appeared, mocking prank channels and their over-the-top editing style. Jacksepticeye was clearly not frightened by his near-miss with the fire, explaining: “I didn’t react because I was too busy making a face for the thumbnail!” Normal service soon resumed though, with PewDiePie briefly explaining that Jack was fine, before proclaiming that his partner was going to live in a fire, something which the Irishman quickly used to make fun of his fellow YouTubers once again. “Jack is going to live in a fire,” proclaimed the 29-year-old. “Smash like! Oh no, the new thing is that you have to have a pop-up showing the subscribe button and it turns green. “Did you guys know you could subscribe to YouTube channels? Do it at the start of the video, because you know you’re going to love this one. You know what, just subscribe, don’t even watch the video!” Of course, the pair have no issues attracting subscribers to their channels, with Jacksepticeye amassing 26 million, while PewDiePie recently crossed the 100 million mark after a fierce campaign to help him reach the milestone.

PewDiePie and Marzia attract huge crowd at unexpected meet and greet – Dexerto
PewDiePie and Marzia attract huge crowd at unexpected meet and greet YouTube King Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and wife Marzia attracted a huge crowd of fans while doing an impromptu meet and greet in Toronto, Canada. The most followed individual YouTuber, it is no surprise that PewDiePie has huge numbers of fans all over the world. The first YouTuber to break 100 million subscribers, Pewds currently sits at over 102million subscribers. While mostly known for his gaming and meme content, Pewds recently posted a travel vlog, seeing him and his wife Marzia visit Canada. Marzia and PewDiePie have been together for a number of years, before announcing their marriage somewhat unexpectedly back in August. On their second day in Canada, the pair held a ‘Tsuki Pop Up’ shop – the clothing and home products range designed by PewDiePie and Marzia. The shop that was taken over for the Tsuki Pop Up looks seriously impressive, with a number of aesthetic changes lending it a real PewDiePie overhaul ahead of the event. Read More: Top 10 PewDiePie Minecraft moments – “We have people waiting outside,” the 30-year-old Swede said. “Apparently since 5am. But then we came and they were just like ‘hey’. So polite… We didn’t tweet or post about it, so you know the hardcore ‘Torontans’ were the ones who were there.” Not only were people apparently queuing from the early hours of the morning, Pewds then shows the line of people waiting to meet him and Marzia. The line stretches a considerable distance down the street; highlighting once again just how popular the Swede is with his fans. Timestamp for mobile users: 2:30 Not only were the pair the subject of a massive meet and greet, but also went to visit Niagara Falls, the famous group of waterfalls on the US-Canada border. This saw Pewds and Marzia get soaked and experience some pretty forceful winds, but the pair clearly enjoyed their experience at the famous waterfalls. Subsequent to this, they ventured further into Canada and found a haunted house which provided a number of terrors, described by Kjellberg as “way scarier than I thought”. Read More: Was PewDiePie really banned in China? – Finally, the pair visited an aquarium, which led to some hilarious voice-over from the Swede, claiming he’d “low-key” kiss one of the fishes he came across. It certainly looks like both Felix and Marzia enjoyed their time in Canada, and were keen to share the experience with their fans, both in Canada and across the world.

PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye share hilarious reactions to old collab videos – Dexerto
PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye share hilarious reactions to old collab videos YouTube stars Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg and Seán ‘Jacksepticeye‘ McLoughlin have always had a great friendship, and reminded fans of their funniest moments together during PewDiePie’s June 11 video. PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye have recorded many videos together over the years, as well as participating in friendly ‘beef’ towards each other. The Swedish star’s latest video titled ‘Shoutout to Jacksepticeye’ brought the pair together again as they watched some of their old collaborations and roasts. The results are absolutely hilarious. Their reactions were priceless The video starts off in classic hilarious PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye fashion, with the pair enacting overexaggerated eastern European accents. “We like disco, vodka, and Adidas,” the pair joked. The YouTube personalities then went onto watch back one of their first collab videos back in 2014. “I remember this! Aw, this takes me back,” they laughed reminiscently. “We had such chemistry! Already making jokes! Wow!” “For everyone who’s trying to wonder why his audio or his video quality sucks these days, it’s because [he] went from having shit audio quality for like four years, and then [he] morphed into shit video quality… Well, not now because [he’s] using my stuff.” Jacksepticeye joked, with Pewds looking shocked for a few seconds until finally laughing, “…Yeah, that’s about right.” The Swedish-born star then mocked his friend, saying, “Oh! You left a little comment. And you thumb-up your own comment!” Jacksepticeye looked mortified, and laughed, “Oh, that’s so cringey! That was four years ago.” (Timestamp of 2:17 for mobile viewers.) The best reaction of all The pair’s best reaction comes while they’re watching an old video of the Irish-born star reacting to a roast by PewDiePie. “You say I have a pre-pubescent beard? Well, maybe I just don’t want to grow one as long as yours that makes me look like a fucking homeless person!” the old Jack said in response to a roast saying he couldn’t grow a beard. This sent them into hysterics, as they realize that Jacksepticeye now has a longer beard than Pewds. “Did you just roast yourself in the future by trying to roast me? Bruh…” The video continues with a clip of Jack with a potato: “You say I look like a potato. You say this is my family. I eat this shit for breakfast!” Upon watching the clip, the Irish YouTuber admitted, “I had to go out and buy potatoes for this video!” sending Pewds into fits of giggles. “I didn’t have potatoes in my house, I was like “oh, no places are open that are gonna sell potatoes right now but I wanna make the video”” (Timestamp starts at 9:00 for mobile viewers.) PewDiePie and Jacksepticeye have so much on-screen chemistry that it’s no wonder every second they spend together is hilarious. Hopefully they do more of these videos together in the future.

PewDiePie admits “I’ve made a huge mistake” as T-Series YouTube battle could be in jeopardy – Dexerto
PewDiePie admits “I’ve made a huge mistake” as T-Series YouTube battle could be in jeopardy Pewds retains a lead around the 60 thousand subscriber mark. While the Swede has said in the past that he doesn’t care about the race, fans and other personalities have certainly taken an interest – helping to bolster his lead by any way possible. Fellow YouTuber MrBeastYT took everything one step further by securing some advertising at the recent Super Bowl 53. However, PewDiePie’s interest in the race seems to be growing as he admitted to potentially having made a mistake in taking a break. The Swede revealed to fans that he is headed on holiday but he is still ready for the fight against T-Series. In his ‘I’ve made a HUGE mistake…’ video, the Swede said: “I’m going on holiday because I feel so confident in my abilities that we will crush them, that’s why. T-Series, bring it!” While he’s away, the fight will continue right on without missing a beat. “Now, I am going away but I still have videos prepared, that’s right T-Series, that’s right,” he added. “You thought you could beat me, huh – ‘oh, he’s going away’ – got videos prepared, bitch. Suck my Swedish meatballs.” While it remains to be seen if his holiday affects the race for top spot in any way, Pewds clearly cares about the whole thing more than he, perhaps, may want to let on.

PewDiePie Accuses VICE of Slander Following his Response to Alinity – Dexerto
PewDiePie Accuses VICE of Slander Following his Response to Alinity Screengrab via PewDiePieThe most subscribed YouTuber, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg has accused digital media and broadcasting company VICE of slander, following his response video to Alinity. PewDiePie and Alinity had been caught up in a dispute after the Twitch streamer threatened to ‘copy strike’ a video in which he called Alinity, amongst other female streamers, “Twitch thots”. PewDiePie quickly apologized for his word choice and removed the clip from Alinity’s stream from the video. But Alinity did not accept his apology, releasing a statement accusing him of spreading a negative message to what she claimed was a young, impressionable audience. PewDiePie’s response was scathing, reminding Alinity that she had openly admitted for breaching copyright law, and filing, through agency CollabDRM, fraudulent copyright claims on fair use content. In his video, he highlighted the very sexually suggestive nature of Alinity’s stream content, as well as showing a moment where she admits to receiving preferential treatment from Twitch staff regarding punishments for breaking terms of service. But VICE took this section of his video to mean he was implying that Alinity was “asking for it”, due to her sexualized content. According to the article: “Kjellberg chastised Alinity for filing the claim, and suggested that Alinity somehow deserves the abuse she is getting online for wearing revealing clothes.” The article perhaps missed the point of this section, which was not necessarily to ‘chastise’ Alinity, but rather to highlight the hypocrisy in accusing PewDiePie of spreading a negative image of women to a young, impressionable audience. The only one asking for it is Vice for a lawsuit for slander. pic.twitter.com/BkYX6TASPi — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) May 25, 2018 As the most subscribed YouTuber on Twitch, PewDiePie is likely experienced in articles which perhaps miss the point of sections of his videos, and result in skewed headlines. For now, it seems the debate with Alinity has been settled, with no rebuttal from the streamer being posted since.

PewDiePie admits he “can’t be bothered” with YouTube hustle anymore – Dexerto
PewDiePie admits he “can’t be bothered” with YouTube hustle anymore Instagram: pewdiepie / YouTubeOriginal YouTube icon Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has clarified his recent comments on creative burnout, admitting that he can no longer “be bothered” with the platform’s constant hustle. When it comes to making content on the internet, PewDiePie has seen and done it all. With more than a decade of consistent effort on YouTube alone, the Swedish superstar remains the biggest individual creator on the platform today. Though keeping up with the latest trends and putting in the hard work has certainly taken its toll. Numerous lengthy breaks in recent years have all come as a result of his burnout. “I’m kind of getting tired of it,” Pewds said back in December. After a few weeks of relative peace and quiet to start the new year, he returned for a Skyrim stream on January 19 with much the same tone. In fact, he even doubled down and explained why he “[doesn’t] care” about the grind anymore. “For the past year and a half I’ve just been side-questing YouTube,” PewDiePie addressed early in his latest stream. Despite regular uploads over the past few months, all of which have gone on to millions of views as usual, he’s now in search of “something different.” “Everyone’s so f**king nifty with YouTube,” he said. Compared to the newer crop of YouTube celebs on the rise, Pewds admitted he just “can’t be f**ked anymore.” “Back in the day”, Kjellberg claimed, he was “so efficient” with everything from thumbnail design, editing, and settling on the best titles to stand out. Recently, he simply “can’t be bothered” matching that effort. “I feel like I need a new direction,” he told thousands of fans watching live. “I feel like I’m living in some weird void. What’s next? I have no idea. I need something new, but I don’t know what.” Despite struggling with this admission, he still can’t fully commit to stepping away from YouTube just yet. “If I don’t care, it feels like I’m failing,” he explained. Even though Pewds has “considered [himself] retired for a year now,” don’t expect him to be outright quitting anytime soon.

PewDiePie accuses Tati of copyright striking videos about James Charles drama – Dexerto
PewDiePie accuses Tati of copyright striking videos about James Charles drama PewDiePie / Tati / YouTubeIn the aftermath of the James Charles vs Tati Westbrook controversy, Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg has accused Westbrook of copyright claiming, or even striking, videos about the drama. In May 2019, two of the biggest makeup channels on YouTube locked horns, as James Charles (15 million subscribers) and Tati Westbrook (10 million subscribers) ended their friendship in a war of words. The issue began when Tati was angered by Charles promoting a rival vitamin brand to her own, going on to accuse him of attempting to manipulate straight men by using his money and fame. The initial fallout saw Charles lose millions of subscribers almost overnight, but his response has since swung public opinion back in his favor, with Tati now facing the brunt of the backlash and losing subscribers. Countless other creators covered the unfolding drama which captured the community’s attention, but it appears Tati is attempting to cover some of this up, filing copyright strikes on videos. H3H3’s Ethan Klein had his own video claimed by Tati, which means ad revenue would be directed to her – which Klein highlighted given that she had made a point of not monetizing her own video. Tati may not have monetized her video but she sure is monetizing mine:joyful: pic.twitter.com/vfNi7FcFH5 — Ethan Klein (@h3h3productions) May 21, 2019 In response to Klein’s tweet, PewDiePie linked to another, who showed evidence that Tati had in fact striked the video, removing it from YouTube entirely. PewDiePie later tweeted to acknowledge that the strike on the video had been removed, and that it may have been made in error, rather than a deliberate attempt to suppress the content. The video, by YouTuber WillyMacShow, is simply titled ‘Tati is worse than James Charles’, and is a commentary on the situation, although it does use clips from Tati’s video in making its argument. The video is now available once again, perhaps due to the outrage its removal stirred on social media. PewDiePie himself has made a number of videos on the drama, expressing in his latest that he hopes it is now over, and that both Tati and James Charles resolve the situation privately. Tati has since deleted her original ‘BYE SISTER’ video, and has lost over 300,000 subscribers following Charles’ response video.

PewDiePie accuses Nikocado Avocado of “blatantly promoting obesity” – Dexerto
PewDiePie accuses Nikocado Avocado of “blatantly promoting obesity” YouTube: PewDiePie, Nikocado AvocadoFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has accused Mukbang YouTuber Nikocado Avocado of “blatantly promoting obesity.” In a video on December 8, Kjellberg decided to check out various YouTubers who specialize in mukbang videos. These creators record or live stream themselves eating large quantities of food while talking to the audience. One of those creators is Nikocado Avacado, a former vegan who decided to switch things up after stating that the community was too “toxic.” While talking about the creator, PewDiePie accused Nikocado of blatantly promoting obesity with his videos. PewDiePie accuses Nikocado Avocado Noting that he created a video about mukbangs three years ago, he wanted to check in on Nikocado to see how he was doing, as he was one of the creators mentioned in his original video. After watching a couple of quick videos, Felix said: “Nikocado [Avocado] is the American final boss of mukbangs.” PewDiePie continued to explain his feelings about those eating so much food: “I hate it, it grosses me out. People like it, but anything YouTube-related is going to be exploited to the max. “I’m not saying YouTube needs to do anything about it, they just need to observe how it works. They’re blatantly promoting obesity. I know the creators aren’t condoning it, especially Nikocado — but kids are impressionable.” After remembering that the YouTuber said he would stop when he turned 30 years old, Kjellberg mentioned that he could have a “funny conclusion” by going from his current weight to super skinny. This isn’t the first time someone called out Nikocado for eating. On September 29, MoistCr1tikal uploaded a video titled “This YouTuber is slowly killing himself for views,” which sparked concerns over the creator’s health. At the time of writing, Avocado has not responded to PewDiePie’s comments.

PewDiePie Accuses of Tana Mongeau of Scamming Fans After Failed TanaCon – “She should go to jail” – Dexerto
PewDiePie Accuses of Tana Mongeau of Scamming Fans After Failed TanaCon – “She should go to jail” Following up to his previous video on the failed ‘TanaCon’ convention, PewDiePie has released a new video in which he is much more critical of the event and its organizer, even suggesting it was verging on criminal. YouTuber Tana Mongeau set up the ‘TanaCon’ convention as a direct response to what she felt was poor treatment of creators at VidCon, but her event didn’t exactly go as planned. After thousands of people showed up to the venue, some reportedly ticketless after supposed free entry was advertized, resulting in the event being cancelled due to overcrowding. In addition, people who had paid full price for tickets which would apparently get them in through a separate queue were placed in the same queue as non-paying attendees. More: Ninja Offers Words of Inspiration to ComedyShortsGamer After People Tell Him to Drop Out of Jake Paul Fight – “Let it fuel you” – It was also claimed that those who paid $65 for tickets would receive a gift bag worth four times the value, but some recipients of the bag have shown it to only include stickers and a condom (labelled ‘TanaCondom’). It was claimed by Tana that they event had to cancelled due to “15,000” people showing up, however a statement from the local Police Department suggests the number was only 4,000, as PewDiePie explains. “We have a statement from the City of Garden Grove Police Department saying they sold 4,000 tickets, and the hotel ballrooms where the event was scheduled could hold a maximum of 1,150 people. The more I find out about TanaCon, the more annoyed I get. I kind of gave her a pass in my last video, but she should be banned for hold any event in the future, she should go to jail.” PewDiePie explains that the event was based on a sequence of false information and has effectively scammed hundreds of thousands of dollars from people. “This whole event was just selling lies. It’s an actual con. There was supposed to be free tickets, but also tickets you could buy and if you bought the tickets you would get to skip the lines, you would get this cool goody bag which would be four times worth the ticket. Well as we know now, there was no separate line if you paid, there was really no difference at all if you had paid for a ticket or not.” Shane Dawson was also claimed to be making an appearance at the convention, which PewDiePie says would have been a major attraction for many of the fans, but Dawson did not show up due to safety concerns. You can watch PewDiePie’s full follow up video on the TanaCon scam below, where he goes into more detail as to why he was angered by the event and Mongeau herself. A number of fans were also vocal on Twitter about the wasted time and money spent on attending TanaCon, which also includes hotels and flights from other countries. @shanedawson my 14 yr old daughter had to push past her fear of flying, depression and anxiety just to come and see you, we flew from Canada. I’m not blaming Tana @tanamongeau we love her! But it’s very disappointing, my daughter is sobbing in bed and refuses to leave the room. — Lydia Bartlett (@Lydiaslifeblog) June 23, 2018 I wasted 150 dollars on #tanacon , it’s one hallway, one big concert room, and no activities. No creators are walking around like promised. We stood outside for 4 hours, just to be treated like animals. pic.twitter.com/WlgiSvHqFs — (@Lovely_asf) June 22, 2018

PewDiePie accused of Anti-Semitism after channel promotion goes wrong – Dexerto
PewDiePie accused of Anti-Semitism after channel promotion goes wrong PewDiePie, YouTubeYouTube’s biggest creator is under scrutiny yet again, after promoting a series of smaller YouTube channels in an episode of ‘Pew News’ on December 9. While PewDiePie shouted out a slew of YouTubers in a segment following his usual ‘Pew News’ fare, one of these channels is being called out for promoting what has been deemed as ‘Anti-Semitic’ content. Read More: YouTube Rewind set to break Justin Bieber’s dislike record – Top 20 most disliked videos ever – The YouTuber in question, going by the handle ‘E;R,’ creates video essays over a variety of topics, including anime, big-budget films, and American cartoons. However, his content is likewise notable for containing problematic language and offensive humor – even entertaining what is called the ‘Jewish Question’ and joking about the murder of Heather Heyer, who was killed after a Neo-Nazi drove his vehicle into a crowd of protesters in 2017. PewDiePie linked one of E;R’s videos in the description of his ‘Pew News’ episode, which led to an essay over Netflix’s live action adaptation of the popular ‘Death Note’ anime. The description of the essay contains racist language towards one of the actors in the film, who portrayed one of its characters, ‘L,’ as a person of color. According to Hasan Piker of The Young Turks, the first channel PewDiePie promoted rose from 14,000 subscribers to over 61,000 subs after his shoutout – leading to mass concern that the YouTube king is helping promote a noted Anti-Semitic Holocaust-denier, as well. While PewDiePie has yet to address these allegations, E;R has since Tweeted out a video edit of Piker’s Twitch stream speaking out on the issue, joking that the “Steven Universe fandom” is responsible for the debacle. It was the Steven Universe fandom all along. Their tolerance knows no bounds. pic.twitter.com/SOMNI8QvkR — E;R (@EsemicolonR) December 11, 2018 UPDATE: PewDiePie has since responded to the debacle in a YouTube video uploaded on December 11, claiming that he wasn’t aware of E;R’s Nazi references and merely hoped to promote smaller channels in light of his battle with Bollywood label T-Series.

PewDiePie’s YouTube Rewind reaches major milestone in less than a week – Dexerto
PewDiePie’s YouTube Rewind reaches major milestone in less than a week PewDiePieIn the fallout of the ill-conceived YouTube Rewind 2018, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg decided to deliver his fans a rewind they were hoping for and was rewarded with an astonishing but equally unexpected milestone. The YouTube Rewind 2018 infamously earned the title of the Most Disliked Video on its own platform as fans seemed to loathe the company’s decision to include very little of the internet’s highlights instead opting for a watered-down reimagining of the year. So naturally, YouTube’s highest subscribed creator PewDiePie made his version of a rewind that was met with the most support of any non-music video piece of content on the site, ever. The video’s accolade carries with it a stark contrast to the subject of its parody. YouTube’s Rewind took a week of being released to garner the record-breaking dislikes and PewDiePie’s Rewind took less than one week to skyrocket into the top position. What’s more impressive is the style in which the Pewds achieved it having 6.68 million likes with a 99.2 like-percentage for the Rewind thus far. PewDiePie ran away with the title, dethroning the previous most-liked non-music video whinderssonnunes’s “Criança de Rico e Criança de Pobre” that has 4.5 million likes at a 99.08 like-percentage. The Rewind’s incredible success has made the Swedish YouTuber the owner of the only video in the Top 100 most liked videos on the site that isn’t a music video. PewDiePie seems to have stumbled on an moment that will live in YouTube history and have fans talking until 2019’s rewind.

PewDiePie’s fiance Marzia reveals what she’s been doing since quitting YouTube – Dexerto
PewDiePie’s fiance Marzia reveals what she’s been doing since quitting YouTube PewDiePie, YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and his fiance, Marzia Bisognin, appeared in a surprise QnA video on March 3 – marking Marzia’s first return to YouTube in nearly four months. Marzia announced that she was quitting the platform after seven years of regular content creation in October 2018, and has been absent ever since – until now. The YouTuber-turned-entrepreneur admitted that she’d missed her time on the site, particularly being able to talk about “anything she wanted” in the unique way that YouTube allowed. [Timestamp: 5:35 for mobile viewers.] “I feel good,” she began. “The first two months after I quit, I really missed it a lot – making videos, editing, but also sharing things.” However, Marzia also noted that being free of the platform allowed her to focus on her current work, which includes creating products for her online store, ‘Mai.’ “At the same time, it has given me what I wanted, which was the time to focus on something else, so it’s good to have that,” she continued. The two filmed the video in Marzia’s ‘clay room,’ where she makes handmade pottery, jewelry, and decor for Mai. Marzia has long been an entrepreneur, having created multiple fashion lines and even beauty boxes in the past – as well as an animated series based on her pugs, Maya and Edgar. While she admitted to feeling like a “fraud” in her goodbye video, it appears that Marzia has finally “found her own path,” as she wanted – all ahead of her upcoming wedding with PewDiePie, which is being kept strictly under wraps for the time being.

PewDiePie’s followers pay tribute to actor Stefan Karl in a unique way – Dexerto
PewDiePie’s followers pay tribute to actor Stefan Karl in a unique way YouTube’s most-subscribed creator, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, browsed his subreddit in a recent video, which featured a heartwarming tribute to the late ‘Lazy Town’ actor Stefan Karl Stefansson. The subreddit featured a screenshot of Karl’s YouTube channel, which PewDiePie’s fanbase had helped reach over million subscribers. PewDiePie himself appeared to be happy with this development. “We did it,” he said, clapping his hands. “Very nice, everybody. A nice little departure gift for our guy, Stefan Karl. Rest in peace.” Karl, known for playing character ‘Robbie Rotten’ in the children’s show ‘LazyTown,’ passed away of cancer in August 2018 at age 43. PewDiePie addressed Karl’s death in a ‘Meme Review’ video shortly after the actor’s passing, wherein the YouTuber paid him tribute by reminiscing on the widely-popular ‘We Are Number One’ meme borne from the Lazytown show. “When someone passes away, it’s frowned upon to make jokes about it,” he stated in the video. “With Stefan being so active on Reddit and involved in the meme community… I thought it was a very nice thing to see how many people memed Stefan in such a positive way.” He likewise placed links in the video’s description that led to donations for organizations like the American Cancer Society, and encouraged his viewers to sign a petition to raise a statue in Karl’s image. It appears as though PewDiePie’s community has found yet another way to pay Karl tribute as a final ‘thank you.’

PewDiePie teases Will Smith in next big plan to overtake T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie teases Will Smith in next big plan to overtake T-Series PewDiePie, YouTube / Disney, MovieWebYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is going head to head against Bollywood label T-Series to secure the most subscribers on the platform – and he’s taking their fight as far as it will go. While Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s appearance on ‘Meme Review’ boosted Pewds over 80,000 subscribers above T-Series, the YouTuber isn’t letting himself get comfortable just yet. In fact, PewDiePie may have hinted at inviting ‘Fresh Prince’ actor Will Smith to host his show, as stated during an episode of ‘LIWAY’ on February 23. “I’m sorry Will Smith, you can’t rewind your career,” the YouTuber said, in reference to the actor’s appearance in YouTube Rewind 2018. “Unless you go on Meme Review.” PewDiePie likewise joked that Will Smith had hosted the show in a previous video, which actually featured Elon Musk and ‘Rick and Morty’s’ Justin Roiland, instead. That’s not all PewDiePie has planned, either; he may have conceded to playing Happy Wheels in an upcoming livestream, should T-Series threaten to overtake his channel again. Read More: PETA slammed for controversial Steve Irwin Tweets – KSI, Jacksepticeye, MKBHD, NICKMERCS and more respond – “I don’t want to play Happy Wheels,” PewDiePie admitted. “But I guess I will! ‘Cause I’m doing my part.” This wouldn’t be the first time PewDiePie has played a game outside his wheelhouse in order to fend off T-Series, either; the YouTuber went live with Fortnite, Roblox, and even ‘Cool Math Games’ in last-ditch attempts to avoid defeat. PewDiePie was perilously close to being overtaken by the label on February 22, with just one subscriber standing between himself and T-Series. Shoutout to that one guy who stopped him from getting passed, we are back over 7k now lol pic.twitter.com/VDRnH8XThr — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) February 22, 2019 However, thanks to the combined efforts of Elon Musk and Justin Roiland, PewDiePie is once again in relatively safe territory – for now.

PewDiePie “terrified” in jump scare-filled return to Minecraft – Dexerto
PewDiePie “terrified” in jump scare-filled return to Minecraft PewDiePie, YouTube / MojangFelix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has finally started to record himself playing Minecraft again for his YouTube channel, but his return to the game only reminded him just how disobedient and terrifying some of the creatures in the game can be. The popular internet personality, who has over 96 million subscribers on the platform at the time of writing, has a deep connection to Mojang’s title, with his original Minecraft series playing a huge part in the early days of his career as a content creator. Since his shock return to the sandbox game on June 22, Pewds seems to be working on a brand new farm. Yet, after making a few rookie mistakes, its creation has not been going as smoothly as many might have expected. The area he has decided to build on boasts a number of different wild animals and natural resources available to it, as you would expect. However, the process of taming some of the nearby horses, chickens, and even sheep proved to be a difficult task for the Swede. After planting some seeds down by the water, next to what can only be described as a shack rather than a house – at this stage, at least – the rusty Minecraft player decided to use some wheat as bait, in order to attract some animals to his farm. “What the hell? Listen, I got wheat man. What do horses like in Minecraft? Useless,” he said, before stopping himself from killing the animal. He moved onto chickens soon after, who also gave him a swift rejection. (PewDiePie starts his animal hunt at 4:40 below) Taming the sheep is where he experienced the most success. It was no easy task getting four hungry farm animals back to his shack and as the darkness descended upon the map, PewDiePie started to worry about their safety as they refused to squeeze through the door of his home. “Go in! I’m going to murder one of you,” Pewds said during the hilarious exchange. Moments later, the sheep obliged and felt so much at home that they started to breed. If viewers thought this was the biggest troll the streamer was going to face during the video, though, they’d be wrong as he was almost scared to death by a “terrifying” creeper in a nearby cave – as seen in the clip below. What his next Minecraft video has in store for his cult fanbase remains to be seen, but having found diamonds already near the farm location, it’s likely that this could be an area he continues to develop in the future. Hopefully, for him, there aren’t too many more creepers around to spoil the fun.

PewDiePie teases one last “trick up his sleeve” in store to defeat T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie teases one last “trick up his sleeve” in store to defeat T-Series T-Series / PewDiePie, YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is in the midst of a close battle with Bollywood label T-Series to secure the most subscribers on the platform – but he may have one last trick up his sleeve. While PewDiePie appeared to give up his fight on March 2, he later uploaded a video that same day, where he teased a mysterious plan to use in his defense. The YouTuber was bemoaning the miniscule state of his sub gap over T-Series when he hinted at this plan – which could take place very soon, should his statement prove true. [Timestamp: 5:40 for mobile viewers] “I have a trick up my sleeve,” Pewds said solemnly. “And it’s coming, okay? You best be scared, T-Series. If it’s not up already, keep an eye out.” While Pewds has yet to post anything related to his war with T-Series via his social media accounts, he likewise discussed the probable return of his classic ‘Fridays with PewDiePie’ series – although he neither confirmed nor denied the possibility. PewDiePie may also have another celebrity guest in store to host ‘Meme Review,’ following Elon Musk’s’ appearance on the show in late February. It seemed as though PewDiePie would be overtaken by T-Series that same day, as the subscriber gap between the two channels grew to less than 5,000. Pewds even appeared to give up the fight, tweeting out “Looks like this is it,” in regards to T-Series’ sudden surge in subscribers. However, PewDiePie continues to fend off the label despite speculation to the contrary – although he was momentarily overtaken on February 22 for a grueling 10-minute period. UPDATE: PewDiePie has since retweeted a video from YouTuber Jacksfilms, who created a parody of Pewds’ popular ‘LIWAY’ show. Since then, PewDiePie has shot above T-Series, and the gap is now over 28,000 subscribers as of 4:30 PST on March 2.

PewDiePie responds to mmDust claiming he’s better than the average person at TwitchCon 2018 – Dexerto
PewDiePie responds to mmDust claiming he’s better than the average person at TwitchCon 2018 YouTube sensation Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg recently uploaded a TwitchCon compilation video, where the Swede hilariously reacted to some of the most awkward moments from this year’s event. While Kjellberg made fun of Fortnite fans, the Doritos bowl and Ninja, the Swede spent the largest portion of his video talking about Michael ‘mmDust’ Duarte. The streamer became the focus on the internet’s attention after comments he made at a TwitchCon panel, where he stated: “It’s kind of like low-key god complex, [but] I don’t think many of my viewers should relate themselves to me because I do think of myself as better. “There’s no good way to say this – I think of myself as above the average person, so I don’t think many people could relate to me.” “I think that what makes this clip so great is that he knows he’s not supposed to say it,” began PewDiePie. “If you’re ever in that moment, don’t cross the border. “I just love how you’re a streamer, the kind of person that relies on donations from other people. You’re basically begging other people for money but you’re still better than other people. “I’m going to out on a limb and say no, you’re not. You’re 100% not better than the average person. Anyone who thinks they are better than the average person are 100% not better than the average person,” concluded PewDiePie. PewDiePie said that he believes if Duarte had made the comment in jest nobody would have cared, but trying to justify it by admitting there was “no good way” to say it made it look worse.

PewDiePie roasts Deji for controversial prank at Esports Awards – Dexerto
PewDiePie roasts Deji for controversial prank at Esports Awards Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg, the current king of YouTube, has shared his hilarious reaction to YouTuber Deji Olatjuni’s controversial practical joke at the 2018 Esports Awards. Deji incited criticism for his reveal of the Awards’ Esports Publisher of the Year, who he at first said was Epic Games. Deji owned up to his prank as a representative from Epic made his way to the stage, revealing Blizzard as the true winner of the category. “No I’m joking, I’m joking, it’s a joke,” he said. “It goes to Blizzard, well done Blizzard.” Blizzard’s representatives could then be seen heading to the stage, one of which shook his head at Deji’s antics. PewDiePie put a hand over his face in apparent secondhand embarrassment, laughing at the crowd’s ensuing cries of shock and disbelief during a ‘Pew News’ video on November 15. “Why would you do that, Deji?” he asked through a laugh. “Why? …they went up and everything! Stupid YouTubers, I love it.” Of course, that wasn’t the only prank Deji pulled at the Esports Awards; the YouTuber-turned-host also took shots at streaming platform Twitch for allowing (and even participating in) illegal streams of the KSI vs Logan Paul fight, of which he was a member. “Yo, shoutout to Twitch for illegally streaming our fight, you owe us money!” Deji shouted. “Woo!” Man, I really pissed off the eSports community :joyful::joyful::joyful: — Deji (@Deji) November 13, 2018 In keeping with his bombastic personality, Deji called out those who taking issue with his hosting skills on Twitter, writing, “Man, I really pissed off the eSports community.” While Epic may not have procured Publisher of the Year, Fortnite streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins ended up taking the prize for both Streamer of the year and Esports Personality of the Year, following up from his previous double-win at the Streamys.

PewDiePie reaches major YouTube milestone following viral Minecraft videos success – Dexerto
PewDiePie reaches major YouTube milestone following viral Minecraft videos success Graphics: PewDiePie, Pexels, MojangYouTube sensation Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg appears to be reaping the rewards of his return to Minecraft, after reaching his most impressive landmark on the video-sharing platform to date. The Swedish internet personality was locked into a fierce subscriber battle with the Indian production company T-Series throughout the opening of 2019, but has since fallen away from the rival – who boasts an impressive tally of over 106 million. However, that won’t get in the way of Pewds’ fans celebrating his most impressive achievement on YouTube to date, as he has now surpassed the 98 million mark on his own channel. The battle between him and T-Series was quite often dubbed the race to one hundred million and while he might be some way away from boasting those sort of statistics, there’s no doubt that he will be delighted about the ever-growing size of his fanbase. PewDiePie has been dabbling in the world of Mojang’s world-renowned sandbox game, Minecraft, during June and July, which was clearly a popular move for fans. One of the funniest moments, without doubt, came from one of his first videos back on the title. It was jam-packed with jump scares and hilarious moments as the content creator got to grips with life in the block world once again. Long-term fans of the Swede will be well aware that the life of building farms, harvesting crops, and fending off Creepers was where it all started, and his return has been welcomed with open arms just the same. The content creator seems to have a knack for following trends and raising the bar with his videos year on year, with many streamers now playing Minecraft. This isn’t a trend that PewDiePie can claim to have created alone, though, with the rise of KEEMSTAR’s Minecraft Monday tournaments rising in popularity. Whether or not Pewds will be able to get back on track to compete with T-Series in the summer of 2019 and beyond remains to be seen, but despite the Indian production company creating quite the margin between the two, his fanbase is clearly resilient.

PewDiePie playing Counter-Strike in VR is as hilarious as you’d expect – Dexerto
PewDiePie playing Counter-Strike in VR is as hilarious as you’d expect Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is well known for making hilarious videos on his YouTube channel, so it’s no surprise that his trip into the world of Virtual Reality warfare was extremely funny. The Swede brought out his VR headset to play Pavlov VR, a first-person-shooter which features popular Counter-Strike maps alongside the game’s well-known purchasing system. Kjellberg was feeling confident as he hopped into his first game, declaring:”Let’s kill some noobs,” as he stared at the ground. Unfortunately, PewDiePie ran into a problem straight away, realizing that he couldn’t figure out the controls, and didn’t know how to buy a weapon. PewDiePie was able to solve this problem easily, spotting a computer controlled player beside him and quickly stabbing him with his knife, killing him and taking his weapon. Still unable to change his weapon, Kjellberg took advantage of a frustrated teammate’s decision to teamkill, allowing him to throw away his current weapon and pick up an AK-47, which he then sprayed wildly at a group of enemies, taking credit for the kills that his teammates picked up. PewDiePie’s adventure in Pavlov ended with the YouTube sensation furiously chasing an enemy player who attempted to throw a knife at him. Demanding an apology, the Swede chased his opponent through tunnels and over crates until he finally got revenge, throwing his own knife and stabbing him in the back. While PewDiePie’s aim may not have been amazing while using guns, he did seem to have a great time playing the game, and even ran into a fan, who was brutally shot in the head while expressing his gratitude to Kjellberg for the content he produces. You can watch the hilarious video from PewDiePie below.

PewDiePie predicts big changes coming to Twitch after Alinity controversy – Dexerto
PewDiePie predicts big changes coming to Twitch after Alinity controversy YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has predicted a major development for online streaming platform Twitch, as stated in an episode of his ‘Pew News’ series on November 23. The YouTuber covered a story concerning Twitch streamer ‘Alinity,’ who accidentally opened her Gmail inbox during a live broadcast on November 21 – revealing an email from an individual seeking to buy her underwear. Read More: Alinity responds to leaked email revealing that she’d sold used underwear to a subscriber – The story quickly gained massive traction, with even the likes of Drama Alert host KEEMSTAR weighing in on the debacle, claiming that Alinity would have been banned “years ago” if she were a man. PewDiePie appeared to make fun of KEEM’s comment, but likewise took issue with the way Twitch is being run, predicting an upcoming shift in the “streaming bubble.” “I feel like, the way Twitch is running their website, something is about to… there’s a bubble waiting to be broken,” he stated. Although Alinity had issued a copy strike against PewDiePie in May for using a clip of her stream in one of his videos (as well as calling her a “Twitch thot”), Pewds didn’t feel that Alinity ought to be banned for her recent blunder, instead choosing to comment on the platform as a whole. Since the accidental leak, Alinity admitted that she had sold a bra to the interested party back in her college years, and claimed that it was something she would “never do again.” However, KEEMSTAR took issue with the incident, calling out Twitch for its alleged unequal treatment between the sexes and citing his previous ban for simply arguing with another female streamer.

PewDiePie needs your fashion expertise for his latest project – Dexerto
PewDiePie needs your fashion expertise for his latest project Popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has asked for members of his audience to help him with what will presumably be a new video for his channel. In a tweet posted by Kjellberg on Sunday, October 21, the YouTube sensation asked his fans to send him “fashion memes,” although the Swede didn’t state when, or if, a video for these would be released. PewDiePie is looking for “items that are unwearable, made to look cheap but are expensive and items with hidden references,” and thanked his fanbase for helping him out. Kjellberg was ready for jokes from his audience, tweeting out a joke about fashion memes being related to his merchandise before anyone could reply to him with the same idea. PewDiePie has already found a replica leather jacket from the game Devil May Cry, worn by the character Dante. The jacket, while a cool item for fans, is available to purchase in Japan for 900,000¥, which converts to just under $8000. Im looking for fashion memes. PewDiePie mocks Soulja Boy’s latest knock off console in hilarious video – Dexerto
PewDiePie mocks Soulja Boy’s latest knock off console in hilarious video PewDiePie, YouTube / The Breakfast Club, Rap UpYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is taking shots at American rapper ‘Soulja Boy,’ who unveiled yet another knock-off console after removing his previous gaming systems from his online store in late December of 2018. PewDiePie discussed the debacle during a ‘Pew News’ segment on January 17, where he speculated that the rapper had decided to move towards emulating Sony’s systems, after facing possible legal action from Nintendo due to his previous console line. “You’d think after Nintendo cracked down on Soulja Boy, he would stop,” Pewds said of the issue. “But no! Soulja Boy is like, ‘Okay, well then – Sony. It’s Sony time, everybody!’” PewDiePie went on to note the system’s price point, which currently sits at $99 – marked down from a normal price of $200. “Why should you pay $33 for a product when you can buy the exact same product, called ‘SouljaGame,’ and it’s $99.99?” PewDiePie asked sarcastically, noting that the knock-off system was available for a mere $30 on another website. “Why pay a third of the price when you can pay way more?” Soulja Boy has since responded to the backlash surrounding his latest product, claiming that all of his systems are “original,” and even revealed that he’d made over $375,000 in profits for the SouljaGame in an Instagram story on January 14. Soulja Boy’s website is now off the net as of January 18 – which could hint at yet further legal action taken against the rapper after copying Sony’s PS Vita. https://souljawatch.com/

PewDiePie mocks Jake Paul’s petition to end cyberbullying over beef with Cody Ko – Dexerto
PewDiePie mocks Jake Paul’s petition to end cyberbullying over beef with Cody Ko YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg canceled Jake Paul as a result of his cyberbullying beef with fellow YouTuber Cody Ko. Cody Ko is no stranger to making fun of the Paul brothers, something that hasn’t sit well with Jake Paul, as he then created a video responding to that and called for all of the cyberbullying to stop. PewDiePie decided to throw himself into the mix by watching Jake Paul’s response video and pretty much destroying him along the way. It’s a roast “Jake Paul is treating it like he just gave away his address to someone,” PewDiePie said in response to Jake taking Cody’s criticism of dressing up like a Minion. “Oh wait, you did that Jake, sorry!” PewDiePie came out with a nearly 22-minute video picking apart Jake Paul’s video, which can be seen below, bit by bit and bringing up elements of his past. Jake Paul called out the negativity of various YouTube channels in his video, which PewDiePie also discussed. “I’ll explain what Jake Paul’s cave brain is trying to say here,” he said. “There are channels dedicated purely to criticize people. These channels clearly have to make a living giving their audience what they want. They nitpick things that aren’t that big of a deal.” He explains that a video criticizing the “overpriced” merch of someone can easily be blown out of proportion by one of these channels. However, most of Pewds’ issues lie with the fact Jake Paul even made this video in the first place. With nearly everything Jake Paul says, PewDiePie quickly shuts him down by mocking him. Paul mentioned how Cody Ko must be sad on the inside for him to be making these videos. “I can only imagine how much Cody Ko has to deal with every day for being such a savage only,” PewDiePie joked. It’s very clear that PewDiePie is not a fan of Jake Paul, but we probably knew that before this video came out.

PewDiePie makes meme-inspired donation to Mr Beast’s viral tree project – Dexerto
PewDiePie makes meme-inspired donation to Mr Beast’s viral tree project YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg has joined a list of high profile stars to make a huge donation to MrBeast in his quest to plant over 20 million trees, adding a meme-inspired comment to seal the deal. The viral tree-planting project has already attracted some sizeable donations since it first started on October 25, with Elon Musk pledging to help plant over one million and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey contributing 150,000 of his own. Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke also pledged 1,000,001 trees on October 30, taking him up to top spot in the tree-planting standings. Even with these three wildly successful businessmen still leading the way, Pewds has decided to make a meme-inspired donation of his own. The Swedish content creator, who recently became the first YouTuber to reach 102 million subscribers on the platform, announced that he had helped the cause on October 31 using his official Twitter account. “Boomer here who didn’t realize you could leave a message. This is from the 9 year olds,” he tweeted, along with the Team Trees hashtag. His contribution will see a further 69,420 trees planted as part of the program, which is yet another step in the right direction for MrBeast and his fans, who have been spreading the word on social media since it began. They hope to have reached their goal of 20 million trees by January 1, 2020. Will they pull it off? Only time will tell.

PewDiePie and Marzia have their first post-marriage “fight” in Minecraft – Dexerto
PewDiePie and Marzia have their first post-marriage “fight” in Minecraft Mojang / PewDiePie – YouTubeNewlyweds Felix ‘Minecraft together but they had a small disagreement over whether they should eat a cow. PewDiePie and Marzia announced their surprise marriage to the world on August 20 as they finally tied the knot after eight years of dating. After that announcement, Pewds uploaded a video of him and her playing Minecraft together, which just so happens to be the first time she’s ever played the game. While they got along, for the most part, there was one small disagreement over PewDiePie’s decision to eat beef. In real life, Pewds and Marcia are pescatarians, meaning fish is the only meat they eat, but he explained it’s hard to do that in Minecraft so he just eats cows, chickens, and other meat instead. The two did decide to avoid eating meat, but PewDiePie got caught red-handed sneaking a piece of raw beef into the furnace and cooking a steak. Marzia looked at him in disgust when she saw him eating the meat, which he tried to defend by explaining he didn’t want to be starving anymore. “I can make us some beef,” he said before she realized what he said. “It fell on the ground in front of me. I’m tired of being hungry. I’m starving. I’m literally starving.” “I told you no cow,” she said with him explaining how he could make her anything to make it up to her. “I want you to make me a cow.” (Conversation begins at the 20:04 mark) It was a playful fight since they are just virtual animals so no harm, no foul. However, PewDiePie will have to think twice about sneaking in a piece of meat in front of her in the future, whether it’s in a video game or otherwise.

PewDiePie hosts charity stream for ‘Child Rights and You’ organization – Stream and info Popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has taken a break from campaigning to keep his spot as the most subscribed channel on YouTube to campaign for something entirely different. For the last few weeks, PewDiePie and T-Series have been locked in a heated battle for the top spot on YouTube, with many celebrities and other YouTubers rallying to his side to hold off the Indian record label. Having just crossed over 74 million subscribers on December 4, PewDiePie is now rallying his own following to raise money for a special cause. Instead of his usual daily video, PewDiePie is hosting a live charity stream on December 4 to raise money for Child Rights and You, an organization founded to help underprivileged children in India. Stream PewDiePie originally set up the GoFundMe for this campaign on December 3 along with the message of “9-year-olds helping 9-year-olds, let’s go!” referring to the fact that he often says his subscribers are all only nine years old. https://t.co/YdHaZWxjWl Started a Gofundme page for CRY, a charity that focus on making a lasting change for children of India.9 year olds helping 9 year olds, lets go! — ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) December 3, 2018 CRY was established in 1979 by Rippan Kapur and has the singular goal of helping thousands of underprivileged Indian children who have been denied basic rights. Further, the organization has three central principles to achieve its ultimate goal: Identifying the root causes which force families and communities to allow children to be engagedinlabour. Addressing these underlying issues by interacting with parents, community leaders and children’s collective. Empowering communities to demand for employment schemes, food security and access to all government provisions. Despite the GoFundMe only being active for less than 24 hours, he has already managed to blow past his initial goal of a £150,000 with over £163,000 at the time of writing. With no end date set on the fundraiser, there’s truly no telling how much the King of YouTube will manage to raise once it’s all said and done!

PewDiePie issues ultimate YouTube challenge ahead of KSI vs Logan Paul 2 – Dexerto
PewDiePie issues ultimate YouTube challenge ahead of KSI vs Logan Paul 2 YouTube star Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has issued the ultimate challenge after asking fans which of his fellow content creators they think he could beat in a fight, ahead of the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch. PewDiePie has built a massive following of over 100 million subscribers on YouTube, entertaining fans for years with hilarious gaming playthroughs such as his recent Minecraft series. Ahead of the highly anticipated fight between Logan Paul and KSI on November 9, PewDiePie seemed to have ideas of doing something similar before turning to his fans to decide which of his fellow YouTubers he should fight. The rematch between KSI and Logan Paul has got many fans currently interested in the realm of boxing, calling for other stars to get involved such as Jake Paul and Dillon Danis, who have traded insults online in the past. The popular YouTuber had more of a unique twist than the standard boxing match many would come to expect, however, instead he expressed to some of his fans that he was interested in who they thought would win a fight to the death. Some YouTubers volunteered themselves, while others pointed out potential opponents. It is unlikely that we will see the YouTube star in a ‘fight the death’ anytime soon, rather it looks like he’s just putting a twist on his latest Minecraft video. The YouTube star took part in a Minecraft challenge on November 8 which questioned him on what mobs he thinks he would be able to defeat in a fight to the death, making a tier list of each of the monsters in the game. Many suspected that PewDiePie drew inspiration from the video before issuing his bizarre challenge for the fans to answer and could possibly release a video in future ranking YouTubers on a tier list based on how he thinks he would fare similarly to his Minecraft video. PewDiePie has been critical in the past about fellow YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI’s antics leading up to their first fight so if we do see the popular content creator get involved he will probably do so in a more respectable manner. However, the YouTube star has plenty going on for himself as it stands as well as helping others such as promoting and donating to MrBeast’s recent Team Trees Project.

PewDiePie gets support from celebrities in battle against T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie gets support from celebrities in battle against T-Series Popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is YouTube’s most-subscribed creator- but rival channel and Bollywood label T-Series is close behind. However, fans are doing everything in their power to keep PewDiePie on top of the heap – even at the cost of their own financial wellbeing. One such fan, YouTuber ‘Day by Dave,’ paid actual celebrities via the ‘Cameo’ website in the hopes that their endorsement would help PewDiePie beat out his Bollywood nemesis. Day by Dave’s expensive experiment saw support the likes of ‘Mark’s’ actor Greg Sestero from Tommy Wiseau’s infamous film, ‘The Room,’ as well as WWE Super Star ‘The Great Khali,’ and ‘Harry Potter’s’ very own ‘Percy Weasley.’ Dave even managed to get fellow YouTubers on his side, such as young Vardan Antonyan from David Dobrik’s vlog series, as well as PewDiePie’s previous foe, ‘Dillon the Hacker.’ Dave jokingly admitted that his video was a “bad idea” due to the expense of the project. However, Dave likewise stated that the celebs in question were “all so nice” and accommodating, and thanked them for their support in the fight against T-Series. PewDiePie himself retweeted the video on November 29, along with a slew of other fans’ insane shows of solidarity – including that of Team 10 YouTuber Justin Roberts, who actually bought a million dollar billboard advertising PewDiePie’s channel in New York’s Times Square. Roberts admitted that MrBeast’s city wide ad campaign had inspired the project, which took place during his Thanksgiving holiday. He managed to buy the “most famous billboard in Times Square,” which sits just next to the ball-drop on New Year’s Eve, using the simple message “Keep PewDiePie number one on YouTube.”

PewDiePie hilariously responds to Mr Beast’s citywide ad campaign – Dexerto
PewDiePie hilariously responds to Mr Beast’s citywide ad campaign Popular YouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg managed to hold off losing his spot at the top of YouTube with the help of Mr Beast’s incredible ad campaign. For the last few days, all eyes have been on the subscriber counts of both PewDiePie and T-Series, as the two are locked in a close battle for the spot of the most subscribed channel on YouTube. While T-Series had been gaining on PewDiePie for days, even being posed to pass him late last week, a massive billboard and ad campaign by Mr Beast has kept PewDiePie sitting on top. Given what Mr Beast’s campaign has done for PewDiePie’s subscriber numbers over the last four days — he’s gained over 900,000 subscribers in the last four days, according to SocialBlade — it’s no surprise that he gave Mr Beast a shoutout in his newest video. “Thanks, Mr Beast,” Felix says at the beginning of the video. “When all hope was lost, you saved my life.” While it’s certainly not a life-and-death ordeal, Felix has managed to roll through milestone after milestone on YouTube and has frequently prided himself on being the most-subscribed man on the platform. Before ending his video, Felix was sure to issue one final plea to his viewers with an impassioned speech to close things out. “This is out last chance. Listen up you stupid kids. I’ve had enough of you. I’m not going to pretend I like you. Cause I don’t,” Felix told his 68 million subscribers. “I care about one thing, and one thing only. To get to 69 million [subscribers] before that god damn…. You know what, it doesn’t matter. You know what to do.” Even if T-Series manages to overtake PewDiePie at some point in the near future, he will still be able to hang his hat on being the most-subscribed individual YouTuber on the platform given that T-Series is an Indian record label.

PewDiePie gets help from Jacksepticeye as YouTube subscriber gap with T-Series closes – Dexerto
PewDiePie gets help from Jacksepticeye as YouTube subscriber gap with T-Series closes Jacksepticeye, PewDiePie – YouTubeThe subscriber count between YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and Bollywood label T-Series is growing ever closer – but one YouTuber in the space is pulling out all the stops to crush the corporate menace for good. Popular gaming YouTuber Seán ‘Jacksepticeye’ McLoughlin went live on February 13 in an attempt to save PewDiePie, just as the gap between Pewds and T-Series lessened to a mere 13,000 subscriber difference. Much in the style of Mark ‘Markiplier’ Fischbach’s previous live stream on the subject, Jacksepticeye gave a rousing speech meant to inspire his viewers – and even donned an array of PewDiePie’s merchandise in the process. Jack’s stream may have fended off T-Series for the time being; in the hour following his broadcast, the gap between the two channels has grown over 54,000 subscribers and counting. This isn’t the first time Jack has helped PewDiePie at the last minute, either; the Irish YouTuber likewise Tweeted out support for Pewds in early December of 2018, shortly after Markiplier went live as the gap drew to a close – ultimately boosting PewDiePie to 500,000 subs above T-Series. Jack’s livestream follows PewDiePie’s Fortnite broadcast on February 3, which saw him reach another milestone of 83 million subs (and subsequently rendered him one of the game’s most popular streamers of all time). While PewDiePie himself has stated that he doesn’t care if T-Series surpasses him, a plethora of popular YouTubers have since come out in support of the Swede. Stephen Gostkowski misses the 46-yard FG! pic.twitter.com/jEUct0ObCr — ESPN (@espn) February 3, 2019 In fact, YouTuber ‘MrBeast’ even advertised PewDiePie’s campaign against T-Series at the 2019 Super Bowl, which was caught by cameras in the middle of the game.

PewDiePie explains why he avoids politics in YouTube videos – Dexerto
PewDiePie explains why he avoids politics in YouTube videos Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg has more than 100 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, no doubt spanning the political and cultural spectrum, but has explained that politics doesn’t play a big part in his content because he simply isn’t that interested. Although he has been caught up in controversy, largely due to the size of his audience which means that almost anything he says in a video is under intense scrutiny, he has remained fairly impartial when it comes to political comments. In an interview with the New York Times, Kjellberg has shared some insight as to why this is, explaining that there’s not a politician in the world that ‘excites him’. PewDiePie ‘not interested’ in politics “Are there any politicians who excite you?”, NYT’s Kevin Roose asked. “No” Pewds replied, “I couldn’t name one, no.” As Roose observed, there was nothing but trouble to be gained from Kjellberg engaging in politics, and instead “insists he’s not interested at all“ – unless it makes for good comedy. PewDiePie explained that he used to discuss US President, from an entertainment standpoint, because he “became a meme for a while”, but because it “stopped being funny” he moved on. PewDiePie with his diamon play button. Of course, this apathy towards politics hasn’t prevented the Swede from being dragged into political debates, however unwillingly. Most infamously, the New Zealand mosque shooter proclaimed ‘Subscribe to PewDiePie’ during his horrific livestream, which prompted Kjellberg to end the ‘Sub 2 PewDiePie’ movement prematurely. He described this as a major turning point in his life, and Roose said he looked “genuinely pained” when asked about it again. He also said that he had toyed with the idea of deleting his channel, but never as a serious consideration. He also voiced that he disagrees with Brexit during a livestream, amid revealing that he was leaving the UK to live in Japan. Pew News was one of the YouTuber’s most popular series. The YouTuber also recently discontinued his incredibly popular ‘Pew News’ series, where he would discuss a handful of trending stories from that week on the internet. Part of his reasoning for this, was to avoid his own involvement in these dramas, stating that none of it really mattered at all anyway, in the grand scheme of things. His transition into much safer, but no less entertaining content, with his focus on Minecraft and gaming videos, has been fruitful for his channel’s growth too, pushing him over the 100 million subs mark.

PewDiePie fans are now hacking Smart TVs and Chromecasts to help in race with T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie fans are now hacking Smart TVs and Chromecasts to help in race with T-Series RazerThe battle for YouTube supremacy between Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg and Indian entertainment label T-Series has led a duo of hackers to employ a new strategy to attract wandering eyes to their plight. PewDiePie is the most subscribed channel on the streaming site but the position has been threatened by the popular music label which has led his legion of fans to cook up marketing plans for the Swedish content creator. Digital infiltrators HackerGiraffe and j3ws3r have returned with another public service hack that also serves to get people subscribed to PewDiePie, but this time they targeted vulnerable media casting devices. In what they are calling #CastHack, the pair of White Hat hackers are remotely accessing vulnerable castable devices displaying a message urging people to learn how to protect themselves from the exploit as well as subscribe to PewDiePie. The hack has been targeting casting devices such Smart TV’s, Google Home products, and Chromecasts that have their router settings opened for an attack. Although victims are sure to be burdened by the attack, the hackers provide a simple fix for the incursion by disabling Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) on their router settings. The pair were also responsible for over 800,000 printers remotely activating to perform the same essential function: educate people that their device is vulnerable to a hack and to subscribe to PewDiePie. Their attack does not appear to be harmful in nature, but is a telling movement of what PewDiePie fans will do to keep the YouTuber on top and halt the rise of T-Series.

PewDiePie complaints on Twitch’s alleged Alinity favoritism go viral again – Dexerto
PewDiePie complaints on Twitch’s alleged Alinity favoritism go viral again PewDiePie, YouTube / Alinity, InstagramAlinity Divine has found herself in hot water after throwing her cat during a livestream and comments made over a year ago by Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg calling out favoritism from Twitch have now gone viral. The Twitch streamer has faced immense scrutiny since she was seen tossing her cat out of the way of her computer screen on July 18, and she is currently under investigation over animal cruelty allegations from the Saskatoon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). While many other content creators and streamers have openly discussed their verdict on the matter, it appears that previous comments from PewDiePie are now resonating with many of her detractors. A video of the Swedish YouTube star was posted to Twitter by Drama Alert host Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR’ Keem on July 24 and has since appeared in the trending section on the website. “I’ve gotten drunk, I’ve fallen, my butt has shown, you know. Twitch has been behind my back the whole time,” Alinity says during the clip, before PewDiePie swiftly interjects with his verdict. Pewdiepie exposed Twitch for giving Alinity special favoritism over a year ago! pic.twitter.com/iPOSiNtec3 — KEEM  (@KEEMSTAR) July 24, 2019 “Maybe this is the problem. She has never been forced to be held accountable for her actions,” Pewds says. “Twitch, she says, has been giving her favors. ‘Alinity, you broke the terms of service, just delete this video and we’ll just move on,’ when they’re so strict on Twitch with these sort of rules. People get banned all of the time for this sort of thing.” Countless comparisons have been made between Alinity throwing her cat and other streamers, who have allegedly faced bans as a consequence. Yet, the streamer is still yet to face a suspension for the things people have taken issue with, which also include feeding her pet vodka. Whether or not a ban is in the works on Twitch’s end remains to be seen, but there has been a widely signed petition also doing the rounds on social media that has almost 28,000 signatures at the time of writing – as seen on Change.org. Clearly, though, many fans believe that Alinity is at the heart of some potential favoritism problems on the livestreaming platform, and PewDiePie’s comments appear to speak for them.

PewDiePie creates Minecraft army of “96 million pigs” to defeat toughest boss – Dexerto
PewDiePie creates Minecraft army of “96 million pigs” to defeat toughest boss YouTube / PewDiePiePewDiePie is continuing his viral series of Minecraft videos on his YouTube channel as he nears the 100 million subscriber mark, and has gone straight to the top of Trending with his latest pig-army episode. For much of July, the top YouTuber, real name Felix Kjellberg, transitioned to almost exclusively a Minecraft channel, and with good reason. Almost all of the Minecraft focused videos have passed the 10 million views mark, contributing to an increase of almost 1.5 million new subscribers in the month of July 2019. His latest edition, uploaded on July 31, amassed over 8 million views within less than 24 hours, and is set to be one of his most successful Minecraft videos yet. In the video, Kjellberg assembles a massive army of ‘pigs’, explaining that their purpose is to help him defeat with “Wither” boss. “So, you can summon the Wither in Minecraft, which is this boss – that’s what we’re using the army for,” the YouTuber explains, before trying (and failing) to save the life of one of his prize pigs. He doesn’t actually get to the point of summoning the Wither in this episode, instead preparing his army of pigs for the fight, feeding them and plumping them up in preparation. The Wither is a demon-like boss, and is notoriously hard to take down, so PewDiePie is right to be making preparations beforehand, although an army of pigs is not exactly a proven technique. Most tips and tricks for taking out the Wither will suggest keeping your distance from the boss, staying out of sight, and taking shots at it with the bow and arrow. It’s unclear how long PewDiePie will stay dedicated to his Minecraft content, with some fans missing his more traditional commentary style videos, but the recent uploads are showing no signs of waning in popularity. It means he’s now on track to cross the historic 100 million subscriber mark within the next month, becoming the first individual YouTuber to do so, and only the second channel overall after T-Series.

PewDiePie calls out RiceGum and Jake Paul for promoting “shady” gambling sites – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out RiceGum and Jake Paul for promoting “shady” gambling sites Ricegum / PewDiePie / Jake PaulYouTuber Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg looked into the shady business practices of other popular content creators Bryan ‘RiceGum’ Le and Jake Paul in regards to the rehearsed promotion of gambling sites that reward “Hype Beast stuff.” Although PewDiePie focused his attention to the overall ethical stance of promoting these kinds of gambling sites, he primarily took aim at the pair of YouTubers for aligning themselves with “sketchy” sites that exploit more than reward. In his video, PewDiePie dissected how the site in question allures and deceives consumers much like the CS:GO skin gambling sites that once ran rampant, but took it further by keying in on YouTubers involved with the site who know they have influence over younger audiences. “Ricegum and Jake Paul have considerably young fans, and promoting a gambling website in general just seems like a bad idea for these people to do,” PewDiePie said. “Now obviously, [Jake Paul and Ricegum], don’t care.” PewDiePie noted the similarities between the frequent inappropriate nature of his content in relation to his audience demographic, though he maintained that there is an abhorrent element to YouTubers promoting harmful sites knowing they have an easily influenced viewership. Both Ricegum and Jake Paul have videos promoting these sites that seem to dole out extravagant rewards for little sacrifice, but PewDiePie suggests that that is just not the case. “Seeing big YouTubers [like Jake and Ricegum] promote something like this that’s clearly known to be sketchy is kinda messed up,” he said. The YouTubers don’t seem to fall in line with what PewDiePie would see as “the most morally ethical” personalities on the site, and their part in the promotion is only continuing the trend of scamming viewers.

PewDiePie bounces back after T-Series briefly passes him by a massive margin – is this the end? – Dexerto
PewDiePie bounces back after T-Series briefly passes him by a massive margin – is this the end? PewDiePie, YouTube / T-SeriesYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg may have finally lost his crown, thanks to the ever-increasing sub-count of Bollywood label T-Series. UPDATE: PewDiePie has overtaken T-Series once again, just a short time after being defeated by the label. As of 12:25 PM PST on March 20, PewDiePie has risen over 2,000 subs above T-Series – but no one knows how long his lead will last. T-Series overtook PewDiePie by a whopping 10,000 subscribers on March 20, after a nearly six-month struggle between the two. While the label has previously surpassed Kjellberg a few times, the YouTuber always managed to bounce back, thanks to his dedicated fanbase; however, at this point, there’s no telling if he will climb back to the top. Read More: Nadeshot shares amazing 100 Thieves anime crossover art ft. Dragon Ball Z and My Hero Academia – One of Kjellberg’s more memorable losses came just after an automated audit performed by YouTube in late February, which lost the YouTuber over 20,000 subscribers during a pivotal moment in their race. Although no evidence of such an audit has yet come forth, T-Series’ sudden spike in subscribers is raising fans’ eyebrows across the space. Following T-Series’ most recent victory, Kjellberg managed to boost their gap to just over 4,000 subscribers – but things are still looking grim for YouTube’s fallen king. This development follows the tragic shootings at two Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, where a gunman urged viewers of the livestreamed massacre to “subscribe to PewDiePie” before opening fire. Just heard news of the devastating reports from New Zealand Christchurch. I feel absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person. My heart and thoughts go out to the victims, families and everyone affected by this tragedy.— ƿ૯ωძɿ૯ƿɿ૯ (@pewdiepie) March 15, 2019 While PewDiePie vehemently decried the violence, he has since unfollowed all but one account on Twitter, after receiving multiple death threats in relation to the individuals he’d previously followed on the social media platform in wake of the shooting.

PewDiePie calls out racist commenters during nail-biting battle with T-Series – Dexerto
PewDiePie calls out racist commenters during nail-biting battle with T-Series T-Series / PewDiePie, YouTubeYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg is in the midst of a close run with Bollywood music and film label T-Series, which is gunning against Pewd’s channel for the most subscribers on the video platform. PewDiePie had a severely close call with the label on December 2, after which he revealed that he had been less than 15,000 subs away from defeat. However, that wasn’t the only issue he addressed in his video over the debacle the following day – he likewise called out racist users who are using his feud with the India-based label to spew out hateful comments on videos across YouTube. “Sometimes in these comments… you see… just really distasteful, unnecessary comments,” Pewds began, going on to address his own jokes about multiple countries. “I obviously made Indian jokes and stuff like that, but I do that of all countries, and this is not what I’m about.” PewDiePie then mentioned the massive amount of attention he’s received due to his race with the label, stating that he’d prefer to use his current platform to fight back against the hateful comments. https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/11/30/hacker-makes-printers-across-the-world-ask-people-to-subscribe-to-pewdiepie “Why not just take that fact and redirect it to something more positive, and show that this fanbase… can do something positive, as well?” Pewds said of the issue. PewDiePie’s current stance on the debacle could mark a major shift in light of his previous scandals, such as the incident where he received massive criticism for making an anti-semitic joke in order to comment on the state of freelance service Fiverr during early 2017.

PewDiePie appears to give up fight against T-Series as sub gap closes – Dexerto
PewDiePie appears to give up fight against T-Series as sub gap closes PewDiePie, YouTube / T-SeriesYouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg may have conceded defeat in his battle against Bollywood label T-Series, as stated in his latest ‘Book Review’ video. PewDiePie uploaded the video on February 20, just as the sub gap between his channel and that of T-Series grew to less than 9,000 subscribers. However, PewDiePie wasn’t filled with his usual, warlike zeal; this time, the YouTuber appeared to be somewhat resigned, claiming that he could upload whatever he wanted in light of his looming demise. “T-Series has most likely passed me, so it doesn’t matter what I upload at this point, does it?” PewDiePie said of the situation. “I mean, I might as well get this over with.” Despite his dismal outlook on his chances of beating T-Series, PewDiePie’s sub gap has jumped to over 12,000 subscribers since the video’s release. T-Series was projected to surpass PewDiePie in early January of 2019, as told by calculations from analysts at Social Blade in August of 2018. Despite these projections, PewDiePie has managed to fend off his Bollywood nemesis for over a month, thanks to the help of other major YouTubers – and even some celebrities. Did meme review last night with Justin Roiland from @RickandMorty — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 18, 2019 Tesla CEO and tech millionaire Elon Musk has allegedly hosted an episode of PewDiePie’s ‘Meme Review’ show with Rick and Morty producer Justin Roiland. Despite his claims, fans are currently left in the dark as to when the alleged episode will go live – or, if it will go live before T-Series ultimately overtakes PewDiePie. UPDATE: PewDiePie has increased the sub gap between T-Series by 30,000 subs, as of February 20, 2:30 PM PST.
