Olivia Rodrigo pays millions in royalties to Taylor Swift & Paramore amid ‘copying’ drama Instagram: oliviarodrigoPopular singer Olivia Rodrigo has reportedly already given up millions of dollars in royalties to Taylor Swift and Paramore after she gave them songwriting credit on songs from her ‘Sour’ album. While 18-year-old Olivia Rodrigo was originally best known for her role in ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,’ she exploded in popularity at the start of 2021 when she released her song ‘Drivers License.’ The emotional song was a huge hit, and propelled Rodrigo into global fame — and she certainly wasn’t a one-hit-wonder. She has since gone on to release her debut album ‘Sour,’ which has stormed through the charts with tracks like ‘Good 4 U’ and ‘Deja Vu.’ But after many people pointed out the large similarities between her song ‘Good 4 U’ and Paramore’s ‘Misery Business,’ some accused the star of ‘copying,’ leading to her giving them songwriting credit. She also did this with Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff, and St. Vincent for the song ‘Deja Vu.’ Now, a report from Billboard has claimed that the young star has given up millions in royalties due to adding the songwriting credits on her hugely popular tracks. The report claimed that Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Joshua Farro could be receiving somewhere around $1.2 million. As for Swift, Billboard predicts that she’s earned around $325,678 in royalties from ‘Deja Vu,’ with Antonoff estimated to be taking $260,542, and Clark taking $65,135. While some weren’t happy with the star for ‘copying’ music, others have come out in full force to defend her. Maroon 5’s Adam Levine said: “I do think that we can probably meet this with a little more compassion and understanding,” adding that he thinks “it’s kind of a cool thing to introduce a whole generation of people to different musical ideas.” Despite the drama surrounding ‘copying’ claims, Rodrigo is certainly still doing very well career-wise, with the popularity of her album continuing to rise.

Olivia Rodrigo shocked after being tricked by her own viral TikTok lookalike – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo shocked after being tricked by her own viral TikTok lookalike TikTok: @buejnfp17 / YouTube: GQChart-topping music artist and Disney actress Olivia Rodrigo was left slack-jawed after being completely hoodwinked by her strikingly convincing TikTok lookalike. Olivia Rodrigo is one of the most popular music artists right now, and it’s not hard to see why. First gaining traction with her roles in Disney’s Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Rodrigo has since broken into the music scene with a meteoric rise to stardom. Her song Driver’s License took over the internet early in 2021 — a trend that was certainly aided by its viral status on TikTok — and ever since then, it’s been nothing but success after success for the 19-year-old pop star. Like many other celebrities, Rodrigo does have a few lookalikes, one of which has already cropped up online… but this latest doppelganger is leaving everyone stunned. On May 25, 2022, one TikTok user posted a video of her sister at a concert. That in itself isn’t anything spectacular… except for the fact that her sister looks like the spitting image of Olivia Rodrigo. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Olivia Rodrigo reacts to viral TikTok lookalike Wearing double braids and a 90’s-style slip dress with chunky platform boots, it’s hard to see the doppelganger as anything other than Rodrigo — and even Rodrigo herself was blown away by the resemblance. The Deja Vu singer took to the comments section to express her own sentiments toward her latest doppelganger, writing: “No, I thought she was me, too.” The TikToker’s sister, Aurea Ocampo, was quick to react to being noticed by the artist and uploaded a video of herself reacting to the comment while browsing books in a Barnes & Noble store. Click here if TikTok fails to load. As previously mentioned, this isn’t the first Rodrigo lookalike that has shown up on TikTok; in November 2021, another one of her doppelgangers went viral on the platform, prompting the real artist to give a similarly shocked (but enthusiastic) reply.

Olivia Rodrigo hits back at accusations of ‘copying’ other artists’ work – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo hits back at accusations of ‘copying’ other artists’ work Instagram: oliviarodrigoPop singer Olivia Rodrigo has responded to the backlash she’s received over the similarity of some of her songs with tracks by Taylor Swift and Paramore, saying she thinks it’s “disappointing” and that critics are ‘discrediting’ her work. Olivia Rodrigo first became a big deal when she released her single ‘Drivers License’ back in January 2021, which was met with a hugely positive reception, especially on TikTok, thanks to the powerful lyrics and heart-wrenching instrumental. The hit quickly climbed the charts and smashed streaming records. Rodrigo has enjoyed continued success since. In May 2021, she released her debut album ‘Sour’ which features other smash hits like ‘good 4 u’ and ‘brutal.’ However, despite its popularity, the album has come under fire after some fans claimed that various tracks had strong similarities to hits by Paramore and Taylor Swift. This ultimately led to Olivia giving them songwriting credits. In an interview with Teen Vogue, the 18-year-old responded to the immense amount of backlash she’s received over the situation. “It’s tricky,” she said. “Writing songs about how I feel has always been easy and fun for me, and I think the business side of music has been something I’ve had a harder time learning. “I’ve been sort of growing through that this year, but I’ve just been trying to remember that I write songs because I love them. I feel lucky I get to do that and be a songwriter and a performer for a living. …. At the end of the day, I feel it doesn’t have too much to do with me.” She went on to add: “I think it’s disappointing to see people take things out of context and discredit any young woman’s work. But at the end of the day I’m just really proud and happy to say that my job is being a songwriter … All music is inspired by each other.” Rodrigo argued that the beauty of music is that it can be inspired by music that has come before, saying “nothing in music is ever new,” and the “fun part” is trying to make it her own. Despite the controversy, Rodrigo’s popularity is showing no signs of slowing down, gaining more fans by the day.

Olivia Rodrigo responds to Taylor Swift feud rumors – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo responds to Taylor Swift feud rumors Instagram: taylorswift, oliviarodrigoAfter Olivia Rodrigo handed over song credits to Taylor Swift, some fans of the two singers have reason to believe that they are feuding. Olivia Rodrigo sprung into the music industry after she dipped her toes into acting as a teenage Disney actress in ‘Bizaardvark’ and ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.’ Her first song ‘Drivers License’ was released in January 2021 and helped Rodrigo establish a foundation of fans as a pop singer. As for Taylor Swift, well, she’s been making music for about 17 years, having released her first song ‘Tim McGraw’ in 2009. Not to mention, the $2.2 billion that Swift’s current ‘Eras Tour’ has made, as her fan base is one for the record books. Though the two singers have never collaborated on a song together, Rodrigo has used some of Swift’s musical expertise along the way, giving fans reason to think that the two are feuding after the release of Rodrigo’s song ‘Vampire’ in September of this year. Olivia Rodrigo says she would never say who her songs are about Rodrigo and Swift debuted their likeness to one another at the 2021 BRIT Awards when they posed for a photo together. The two have never quite established a relationship with each other, but that hasn’t stopped Rodrigo from using Swift’s music as inspiration for her own. In fact, Rodrigo’s debut album ‘Sour,’ which was released in 2021, was brought to life by some of Swift’s songs, as Rodrigo used Swift’s tracks ‘New Year’s Day’ and ‘Cruel Summer,’ and interpolated them for her own use in her songs, ‘1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back’ and ‘Deja Vu.’ After using Swift’s music and creating her own renditions, Rodrigo legally had to give Swift song credits. However, Swift wasn’t the only writer given song credits, as Rodrigo also gave Swift’s co-writer, St. Vincent, credits as well. This then caused fans to create feud theories of their own, resulting in Rodrigo making a statement in an interview with Rolling Stones, saying that she had no input in who she gave the song credits to, whether it was supposed to just be Swift or Swift and St. Vincent. However, when asked by Rolling Stones if she would make another artist give her credit for song inspiration, she did say, “I don’t think I would ever personally do that. But who’s to say where I’ll be in 20, 30 years? All that I can do is write my songs and focus on what I can control.” Rodrigo’s statement then gave fans even more reason to believe she was shading Swift for the ‘Sour’ album song credits. Fast forward to her 2023 release of ‘Vampire,’ and there’s even more speculation of a feud between both Rodrigo and Swift. Rodrigo, however, has made an additional comment regarding her fan theory that ‘Vampire’ is about Swift, saying, “I was very surprised when people thought that. I never want to say who any of my songs are about.” The ‘Vampire’ singer continued, “I’ve never done that before in my career and probably won’t. I think it’s better to not pigeonhole a song to being about this one thing.” Though the feud speculation between Rodrigo and Swift has continued, Rodrigo has proceeded to shut down the rumors, saying to Rolling Stones, “I don’t have beef with anyone. I’m very chill. I keep to myself. I have my four friends and my mom, and that’s really the only people I talk to, ever. There’s nothing to say. There’s so many Twitter conspiracy theories. I only look at alien conspiracy theories.”

Olivia Rodrigo reacts to viral SNL Driver’s License skit – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo reacts to viral SNL Driver’s License skit YouTube: Saturday Night Live, Oliva RodrigoTikTok star, actress and viral music artist Olivia Rodrigo has reacted to an SNL skit about her record-breaking song ‘Driver’s License’ — and it’s safe to say she’s super stoked about the whole ordeal. Rodrigo’s original song ‘Driver’s License’ went viral in January 2021, skyrocketing to the top of the US iTunes sales charts the very next day after its release and even being praised by the likes of Taylor Swift. The song’s heartbreaking lyrics and emotional vocals aren’t the only reason ‘Driver’s License’ has become so popular; many fans believe the song hints at the breakup between Rodrigo and her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star Joshua Bassett, causing the track to further ingrain itself in TikTok culture. That’s not all; some fans believe Rodrigo’s song throws some subtle shade toward actress Sabrina Carpenter, who some believed was getting close with Bassett in a romantic way. All the hype around the song cumulated in a hilarious SNL sketch dedicated to the breakup anthem on February 21, which featured Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page (and a gut-busting scene where he and the whole SNL crew belted out the song’s most emotional bits). Needless to say, Rodrigo was absolutely pumped that her song had gotten enough attention to be featured on the late night comedy show — and on her birthday, no less! Read More: Who has the most posts on TikTok? – “DRIVER’S LICENSE SNL SKETCH IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER I’M SHAKING!” she tweeted excitedly. DRIVERS LICENSE SNL SKETCH IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER IM SHAKING — Olivia Rodrigo (@oliviarodrigo) February 21, 2021 She also uploaded a video to her Instagram stories that showed off the funny skit on her TV, claiming that she was “losing her mind” over the hilarious moment. Rodrigo isn’t the only party involved in the song’s popularity to have reacted to the sketch, either; Bassett also shared his reaction to the news in a TikTok, where he appeared to poke fun at his status as the “ex-boyfriend” of the whole situation. Needless to say, Rodrigo’s highly-viral hit has made for an unexpected — but certainly not unwelcome — cultural moment that has kicked off 2021 with a certified (if tear-jerking) banger.

Olivia Rodrigo reportedly dating Madison Beer’s ex-boyfriend – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo reportedly dating Madison Beer’s ex-boyfriend InstagramThree time Grammy Award winning artist Olivia Rodrigo is rumored to be dating DJ Zack Bia, the on-again, off-again ex-boyfriend of Madison Beer. This news comes of the back of fan speculation that she was dating TikTok content creator Vinnie Hacker. As first reported in People Magazine, 19 year old pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo is dating 26 year-old Zack Bia. A source from People Magazine told the outlet that, “they’ve been dating since the Super Bowl”. They then went on to add that “they really like each other”. Olivia Rodrigo shot to fame last year after her hit single ‘drivers license’ took the pop world by storm. In May 2021, her debut album Sour was released and was met with even greater praise and love. Since then, much has been made of the young musicians’ love life. Initially, her relationship with High School Musical: The Musical co-star Joshua Bassett was heavily reported on. At the time of release, many speculated that Driver’s Licence was inspired by Rodrigo’s break up with Bassett and how he left her for fellow Disney star actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter. While a love triangle type narrative emerged from the situation, it’s clear that all parties have since moved on. Rodrigo was confirmed to be dating music-video producer Adam Faze late last year after photos revealed the two spending some time together. The seven-month relationship came to an end at the beginning of this year. A source told People magazine in February that the couple had, “been over for a bit now.” Meanwhile, Bia’s up and down relationship with singer Madison Beer was heavily documented but seemingly ended in 2019. He has more recently been linked to Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline but Bia himself has since shut down those rumors. When featuring on the BFFS with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards podcast in January, Bia discussed the nature of his relationshp with Cline, maintaining it is purely a friendship. “It’s one of those things where we really enjoy hanging out and we enjoy going to dinner, we enjoy going to games, doing all these things.” While Rodrigo and Bia dating rumors were sparked months ago after her split from Faze, much discourse on social media has been made over the past month speculating that she is could be dating Tik Tok star Vinnie Hacker. When photos of the two spending the night out together were published by E! last month, fans quickly began commenting on the nature of their relationship, with many speculating that the two must be dating. However, the Bia news puts a spanner in the works for that theory. olivia rodrigo and vinnie hacker gonna be this decade’s taylor swift and harry styles i can’t — ` (@horrorsexuaI) May 26, 2022 Rodrigo is currently touring basically everywhere with her Sour World tour. Now just over a year since the album was first released, Sour has broken multiple records. It has racked up 15 platinum certificates across seven countries. Rodrigo also became the first female artist to have three of the top five singles in the same week on the UK charts and is also now the youngest artist to have a UK number one on two concurrent charts. Both Rodrigo or Bia have not commented on this news and are yet to confirm their relationship.

Olivia Rodrigo reacts after her perfect lookalike goes viral on TikTok – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo reacts after her perfect lookalike goes viral on TikTok YouTube: First We Feast / TikTok: shelbykandradeOlivia Rodrigo’s doppelganger is taking over TikTok as her uncanny resemblance to the ‘Driver’s License’ singer shocks users across the app. Olivia Rodrigo’s hit song ‘Driver’s License’ captured hearts and minds all across TikTok last year. The song went viral on the video-sharing app, helping skyrocket the Disney star to musical fame. Rodrigo has now become a cultural icon with a huge fanbase, but many of these fans are doing a double-take after seeing a shockingly convincing lookalike of the star going viral online. TikToker ‘shelbykandrade’ is turning heads on social media due to her eyebrow-raising similarity to Olivia Rodrigo, boasting a haunting resemblance to the singer’s features — even down to her dark brown hair. Olivia Rodrigo lookalike goes viral on TikTok It seems that Shelby is well aware of this fact, and has uploaded a viral video lip-syncing to the singer’s music. In the video, the TikToker even donned Rodrigo’s iconic cheer outfit from her ‘good 4 u’ music video, and it’s almost unbelievable how much they look alike. Click here if TikTok fails to load. Olivia Rodrigo responds to her TikTok doppelganger Commenters have made their astonishment known, with many joking that the two could be long-lost twins, or that Shelby is even a Loki-style ‘variant’ of the Disney star. However, these comments pale in comparison to Rodrigo’s own response to her doppelganger. The singer herself took note of her viral lookalike and commented on one of her videos, writing a simple: “YASSS.” This elicited an excited response from the TikToker, who replied: “OMFG HI.” Shelby is far from the first celebrity lookalike to take TikTok by storm; most notably, TikToker Kate Shumskaya turned heads for her shocking resemblance to Scarlett Johansson, and has cosplayed as her Marvel character Black Widow on a number of occasions. Nevertheless, this wholesome interaction between Rodrigo and her “long-lost twin” is definitely a wholesome moment that has all of TikTok breaking out in a grin… and doing a double-take.

Olivia Rodrigo faces backlash over “cheap” GUTS album cover – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo faces backlash over “cheap” GUTS album cover Instagram: oliviarodrigoOlivia Rodrigo is facing backlash on social media after showing off a tentative cover for her upcoming album, GUTS — and fans aren’t happy with the photo. It’s safe to say that Olivia Rodrigo is one of the biggest new artists in the music industry. The former Disney star has made quite a name for herself thanks to her debut album, ‘SOUR,’ and even took over social media with the release of her most popular track, ‘Driver’s License,’ back in 2021. Since then, fans have been anxious for Rodrigo to unleash a new album upon their ears… and in June 2023, they finally got their wish. Rodrigo unveiled the title for her sophomore album, ‘GUTS,’ in a viral Instagram post on June 26. She also penned an open letter for her listeners where she discussed the “confusion, mistakes, awkwardness, and good, old-fashioned teen angst” that went into her songwriting. Fans upset by similarity between GUTS & SOUR album covers However, some fans are not here for the album’s cover, with many finding it a little too similar to the cover for her debut album, SOUR. It’s true — the two do look fairly similar, both showing Rodrigo posing against a purple background boasting lettering that spells out the albums’ names somewhere on her person. But for more than a few listeners, this just isn’t enough of a jump to show her growth as an artist. “I’m afraid Olivia Rodrigo did not slay with this album cover,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “For an album called, ‘GUTS,’ she really did not deliver.” “How does she manage to make everything look so cheap, no matter what?” another wrote. “I love the cover, although it’s too similar to SOUR in my opinion,” another said. “It could be mistaken for promo art for SOUR, lol.” right. i love the cover although it’s too similar to sour imo, it could be mistaken for promo art for sour lol — im.the_problem it’s me (@theyheyhey) June 26, 2023 Other fans have even resorted to Photoshopping the cover themselves in order to lend a more ‘gutsy’ feel to the pic. This isn’t the first time that Rodrigo has faced backlash from her fans over an album-related creative decision. In 2021, she came under fire for her SOUR merchandise, which many fans labeled “hideous.” Rodrigo’s GUTS album is set to release on September 8, 2023. Olivia Rodrigo named Entertainer of the Year & Doja Cat fans aren’t happy – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo named Entertainer of the Year & Doja Cat fans aren’t happy Instagram: Olivia Rodrigo/Doja CatMusic star Olivia Rodrigo has been named TIME Magazine’s entertainer of the year, however, some aren’t so sure she should have been given the honor. Olivia Rodrigo may have sprung on to the scene as a Disney Star in the High School Musical series, the 18-year-old has picked up global recognition for her music. Back in May, her Driver’s License track dominated the charts across the globe, was used in many TikTok trends, and became the source of much discussion as fans tried to find hidden meaning in her lyrics. With 2021 close to wrapping up, plenty of year-end awards have started to be handed out, and Rodrigo has managed to bag one in the form of TIME’s Entertainer of the Year. Though, not everyone is best pleased by that. Rodrigo earned the award on the back of her critically acclaimed album ‘Sour’ – which has become the most popular release ever on Spotify, seven Grammy nominations, and an appearance on Saturday Night Live. However, some critics believe that others should have been given the Entertainer of the Year nod – specifically, Doja Cat. “I love her, but Doja deserved it,” tweeted one fan. “I think it should have been Doja. She is good, but not yet, who is deciding these?” added another. “Doja and Lil Nas X were ROBBED,” commented another. Others suggested that Billie Eilish – who released her ‘Happier than Ever’ album and had a James Bond track in 2021 – should have won, while others opted to throw their support behind Taylor Swift. Some even suggested Kanye West should have won following his massive DONDA performances. With the Grammys still yet to be decided, Rodrigo could still be in for more awards for her work in 2021 but we’ll have to wait until late January to see if she takes home any of those prestigious awards.

Olivia Rodrigo faces backlash for using “blaccent” in old Instagram Live – Dexerto
Olivia Rodrigo faces backlash for using “blaccent” in old Instagram Live Instagram: oliviarodrigo18 year-old star Olivia Rodrigo has come under criticism for using a ‘blaccent’ and elements of AAVE. An old Instagram Live of the singer surfaced on TikTok and Twitter, with users commenting on her “misuse” of the “mannerisms.” Fans are calling for Olivia to “address” and “denounce” the claims. The young popstar has faced a number of accusations throughout her short career. On June 24, ’90s legend Courtney Love alleged that Olivia had plagiarized her work. The ‘Hole’ founder posted an image of Olivia dressed as Stephen King’s Carrie and compared it with her own cover work. She wrote on Facebook, “stealing an original idea and not asking permission is rude… this was bad form.” Despite this, Olivia isn’t the first young star to be accused of “blackfishing.” Ariana Grande, Awkwafina and Billie Eilish have found themselves in the firing line from fans who believed they were trying to “sound black.” Which begs the question; what exactly is a ‘blaccent?’ And why is it so “problematic?” When did Olivia’s accent become a ‘blaccent?’ Traditionally known as African American Vernacular English (AAVE), the ‘blaccent’ has trended on social media since the Vine days. Staples of AAVE in digital culture include “b**ches be like,” RuPaul’s “miss thang” and Nicki Minaj-popularized “chile, anyways.” In her Instagram Live, Olivia can be heard using the phrases “I be trending” and “we just so emotional.” Tweets from 2020 show the singer using the words “homegirl” and “crine.” Twitter users have explained why the use of AAVE by non-black individuals could be seen as “problematic.” One pointed out that black people have been subject to bullying due to the dialect. “Black people have been made fun of for decades by (people) telling them (AAVE) is improper,” they said. The same user highlighted the fact that it has now become a “trend,” and most people now know it as “internet speak.” https://twitter.com/lilsecretbiwwy/status/1420726618398466065?s=20 Olivia fans came to the singer’s defense A number of ‘Livvies’ have replied to these threads, defending their favorite star. Thank you for everything, I appreciate you always.” Cyr likewise spoke out on the situation via Twitter, seeming to echo Ponton’s sentiments of their surprise split being an incredibly difficult situation on both sides. “You’ll always have my heart,” Cyr Tweeted. “I wish you the best, angel.” “I love you, forever and always,” he continued. “Always and forever.” While the duo didn’t come clean as to the specific reason for their breakup, the news comes as a total shock to fans and followers of their romance, with many expressing dismay that the two split apart so suddenly. Their separation comes just a week after the split of yet another high-profile TikTok couple in Nessa Barret and Josh Richards, with Barret claiming they were “drifting apart so we can focus on ourselves.” “There comes a point in a relationship where you realize that maybe it isn’t the best for you guys to be together,” Richards also stated in their emotional video on the topic. With so many popular TikTok couples calling it quits, fans are speculating even more breakups down the road as they stand in solidarity with Ponton and Cyr’s heartwrenching decision. UPDATE: Cyr has since revealed the specifics behind their breakup, admitting that their fans played a part in their decision to separate as told in an Instagram live stream on June 25. “It wasn’t just her and I,” Cyr clarified. “It was also your guys’ relationship, and that was one of the main reasons why we came out about it. …all I can say is that I’ll always love her and that she’ll always have my heart.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CB39FVTnyBZ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Cyr declined to go into other reasons for their parting, claiming that the information was best kept between the two of them, and reiterated that he will always have love for Ponton regardless of their relationship status.

Not only does Dunne get to reap the benefits of her talents, but she has also made the effort to finance her foundation ‘The Livvy Fund’ with what her “name, image, and likeness” deals have provided her thus far. So not only is she getting rich, but she’s also helping to lead her teammates and peers to riches and stability as well. What is ‘The Livvy Fund?’ ‘The Livvy Fund’ was founded in early July of this year. Dunne created the foundation to provide LSU athletes equitable access to both deals and funds just like she has. Dunne ensured that her fund was successful by partnering up with On3, which is the college sports and recruiting media company that ranks athletes by their NIL earnings. She also has Accelerator Active Energy on board helping fund her initiative, as the energy drink brand was already in business with Dunne from offering her a NIL deal. In addition to the brands that have financed ‘The Livvy Fund,’ fans are also able to contribute any amount in donations to help support the LSU Tigers. However, Dunne has said that simply “spreading the word” will help, as she hopes that in doing so, her foundation will “take off.”

Oliver Tree reveals his plan to fight both Logan Paul & Jake Paul Oliver Tree’s spicy personality has led to altercations with several online personalities, and he recently revealed his plan to fight both Jake Paul and Logan Paul in a WWE tag team match. Logan Paul and Oliver Tree have a bit of a hostile history. During his appearance on the Impaulsive podcast on March 1, 2022, Oliver roasted Paul, stormed off twice, and even challenged Logan to a WWE fight. Their feud would continue as Logan Paul posted a TikTok with the caption “I DON’T LIKE OLIVER TREE”. The video showed clips of the two going back and forth on social media, Paul taking over one of Oliver’s live shows, and the two wrestling on stage in front of a crowd. Got while I was performing. It was in his hometown, he had the home court advantage. I’d like to take him 1-on-1 in a fair setting.” Oliver then went on to reveal his plans for an even greater fight. “I would call in for a tag team, and bring in some of my crew. Maybe me and some of my fans versus him and his weasel little brother.” “I don’t support violence,” Oliver clarified, “but there’s a time and place for everything. And when you have a proper wrestling ring, sometimes it goes down.” He also gave props to Logan stating, “I will say, he’s getting better. Oliver Tree & Planters design limited-edition DIY mullet wig ahead of retirement tour – Dexerto
Oliver Tree & Planters design limited-edition DIY mullet wig ahead of retirement tour Rockstar turned country music icon Oliver Tree has teamed up with Planters to design a DIY mullet wig, and he’s taking his three-seat bike on the road to share his Sweet & Spicy music one last time. In January of 2022, Oliver Tree made the switch from rowdy punk rock music to melodic alternative country. The musician was meant to retire after the release of his first album ‘Ugly Is Beautiful’, but now plans to retire after his ‘Cowboy Tears One Last Ride’ tour. Tree is touring 26 states with influencers and musicians Huddy and Jawny. And to celebrate Oliver’s last dance, he and Planters have developed a DIY mullet wig that die-hard fans can add to their collection. In an interview with Dexerto, Oliver Tree detailed the reason for developing a DIY wig, how he has prepared to bike across America, and how he plans to shift his career following the tour. Explaining the Planters Sweet & Spicy DIY mullet wig Oliver Tree is often associated with his sweet hairstyles and spicy attitude. But in January, he made the switch from the classic bowl cut to the platinum blonde ‘bullet’ ( a bowl cut mullet combo). So, we asked if he had seen more success in his career since the shock switch in style. “I think only time will tell. The bowl cut, you know, I had a solid five years with that. And the bullet – this new and improved version of the bow cut – it’s been a very short ride with that. The bowl cut has been around for a while… but I think where I have an advantage with the ‘bullet’ is that it’s something very unique. “I got to evolve myself, and have a self-evolution with this new haircut,” Oliver stated in regards to the ‘bullet’. “I was trapped as the guy with the bowl cut for a while. As I evolved as a human, it was nice to have a haircut that reflects that. It’s pretty awesome that [myself and Planters] get a chance to partner together, and we are selling these Sweet & Spicy mullets.” The Planters x Oliver Tree Sweet & Spicy Mullet drops on Friday, August 12 at 12 PM EST. It retails at $4.49 USD and is only available while supplies last. You can get your own wig by visiting PlantersxOliverTree.com. Tree stated that he wants the wig to symbolize how far he’s come over the past five years. He also stated, “It not only allows them to embrace the kind of culture I’m trying to create but also for them to create their own culture around that.” Touring 26 states on a three-seat bike Oliver claims that the ‘Cowboy Tears One Last Ride’ tour will lead into his retirement, but he isn’t going out without a bang. According to a recent TikTok and a confirmation during the interview, he will be riding across 26 states piloting a three-seat tandem bike. Tree stated that he has been working out 6 to 18 hours a day depending on his schedule in preparation for the trek. He also claims to be on a strict “high protein” peanut diet with an occasional Sweet & Spicey filet mignon thrown in. While we couldn’t confirm the information during the interview, Tree claims he has never skipped leg day and his “huge quads” will provide all of the horsepower needed to get the trio across the states. As for fans wanting to get a Sweet & Spicy Mullet wig on tour, Oliver state, “I’m not really supposed to talk about it, but there are some rumors going around that there may be some lucky fans who get a chance to have this custom wig brought to them by the man himself.” What comes after One Last Ride? Oliver Tree’s switch from rock to country music was a shock, but nearly as shocking as his next big move. While the second part of his country album ‘Cowboy Tears Drown the World in a Swimming Pool Full of Sorrow’ will see the musician return to rock, he claims he won’t be returning to music after the tour. According to Tree, he’s moving into the culinary arts following his tour with Huddy. “It’s been a great ride with music, but the truth is I’m moving more toward the ‘culinary excellence’ as I refer to it. That’s why I’m so excited to work with Planters. I was trying to customize my own flavor, but the truth is they had already made the perfect flavor.” In a short but Sweet explanation, Oliver Tree is “getting into the nut business.” As he moves away from music he plans to explore the world of food (mainly nuts). He says that for anywho who hasn’t tried the Sweet & Spicy nuts, they will “see the vision” if and when they do try them. This isn’t Oliver Tree’s first time he’s teased an exit from music, but his first rodeo wasn’t accompanied by a deal as sweet as his one with Planters. Tree continues to live the dream spreading his ‘bullet’ far and wide while diving into the culinary world as a nut connoisseur.

In fact, they’ve even been fired over the controversy. Olive Garden manager fired in Kansas over brutal letter to employees The letter was posted by Twitter account F*ckYouIQuit back on December 7, with the manager being furious by how many absentees the restaurant had been having. “We are no longer taking ANY excuse for calling off,” one brutal part of the manager’s letter read. “If you’re sick, you need to come prove it to us. Go work somewhere else.” With the letter going viral, as many replies criticized the language used, local news outlet KCTV has confirmed that the manager has been fired. “This message is not aligned with our company’s values. Olive Garden diner shares how to get a week’s worth of food for cheap TikTok: wumi_10A TikToker named Wumi has shared her secret of how she got a week’s worth of food from visiting Olive Garden and taking part in their $13.99 Never Ending Pasta Bowl deal. After a several-year hiatus, Olive Garden’s famous Never Ending Pasta Bowl is back and people are already taking advantage of its bounty. The deal is available between September 25 and November 19 and allows guests to each as much food as they can for just under $14. But it wasn’t without breaking some rules of course. In a TikTok video, which gained over 510,000 views in just a couple of days, Wumi shared how she and three of her friends managed to get several Tupperware each of pasta and breadsticks from just one visit to the restaurant. TikTok user shares how she got week’s worth of food from Olive Garden deal Wumi titled her video “Come finesse 11 bowls of meals from Olive Garden with me” which started with her and three of her friends walking into the Olive Garden restaurant together. They both had bags that were filled with empty Tupperware in preparation for trying to bring as much food as possible with them back home. She showed them sitting down at a table before getting their first rounds of pasta, which was a Fettucine Alfredo with chicken. “I ate some of it before I actually dumped the rest into my Tupperware,” Wumi said. She is seen taking a few bites of the creamy pasta dish before her friend next to her holds up the Tupperware next to the table for Wumi to move her food into. They laughed as they tried to do it as fast as possible without getting caught by one of the staff members. The camera then cuts to her and her friends giving thumbs up to the camera as Yumi is heard saying: “It was a total of us four and my friend Ari went next, and sis was lowkey stressing.” Ari was seen looking around the table so that no staff members would see what she was doing before quickly moving all of her pasta from her plate to a Tupperware box. This kept going for two more portions of pasta and bread rolls, which were all sneakily moved into Tupperware boxes and into their bags. The friends seemed more than happy with their achievements. In a second video, Ari is seen holding up the longer-than-average receipt from their meal and telling the camera: “I’m gonna tell my kids this was The Last Supper.”

Older couple receives sideline passes to Eagles game and couldn’t be happier – Dexerto
Older couple receives sideline passes to Eagles game and couldn’t be happier Instagram: bleacherreportAn older couple was more than happy to accept sideline passes to a Philadelphia Eagles game. An older couple was walking around the entrance of Lincoln Financial Field where the Philadelphia Eagles play when they were given free sideline passes to the game. Decked out in proper attire, the couple blended in just fine while they happily walked onto the turf field. Their gratitude was actually so contagious that the internet fell in love with how wholesome their reaction was to the passes. Internet falls in love with couple who graciously received sideline passes to Eagles game Marie and Terrence were taking in the green, black, and white outside the Eagles’ stadium when they were approached by someone giving away free sideline passes. Though it took many tries for a person to grab the white envelope with the passes inside, as the admin behind the viral video of Marie and Terrence attempted to hand them out to just about everyone they saw, the couple happily played into the game of ‘finders keepers.’ Once they opened the envelope and realized what was inside, Marie expressed how she had just been talking about the sidelines, wondering how people were able to access them. Lucky for her and Terrence, the admin led them right to the sidelines to watch the Eagles warm-up. Elated and grateful, Marie and Terrence both called their loved ones to gloat about where they were. As Terrence plugged his ear to share his happiness with someone, Marie could be heard right next to him yelling into her own phone, “Cynthia, you’ll never believe where I am!” Marie, taking it all in, then waved to the cheerleaders who passed her by to begin their routines. She then was able to shake hands with former Eagles player DeSean Jackson. After the video of Marie and Terrence went viral, the internet fell in love with them, saying, “I didn’t know this couple’s existence until one minute and 25 seconds ago, but I now love them with all my heart and they deserve every good thing ever.” As well as, “So glad nobody else got the passes but them. They definitely went to the right people.” Someone even asked how long Marie and Terrence could stay on the sidelines, as their happiness was just so contagious and wholesome. And though the Eagles are 7-1, we’re quite sure that Marie and Terrence are undefeated.

Addison Rae refuses paparazzi questions about Trump support as old tweets resurface – Dexerto
Addison Rae refuses paparazzi questions about Trump support as old tweets resurface Instagram, Addison RaeA recent exchange on July 10 between TikToker Addison Rae and former President Donald Trump at the UFC has renewed paparazzi questions over whether she supports the politician. When approached about the issue, Rae quickly walked away without answering. Paparazzi when talking to Rae asked her “Are you still getting flack for being a Trump supporter?” as she began to walk back to her car. Rae is friendly in the beginning of the video even taking selfies with the cameramen. However, when asked the question, she quickly turns away from the camera and continues walking back to the car in silence. The video appeared to be taken while Rae was out shopping in Maxfield, West Hollywood. The questions come after controversy over Rae’s friendly greeting of former President Donald Trump that was captured in a video. The video was posted by the NELK Boys on their YouTube channel. The influencer is no stranger to controversy whether being accused of stealing from Black creators to how she landed a reporting role at the UFC. However, as Rae attempts to avoid questions from the press, tweets have also resurfaced that allegedly show Rae endorsing support for Trump. Old tweets resurface allegedly showing support for Trump Posted on the Instagram account of influencer reporter DefNoodles, the screenshots appear to show Rae expressing support for the former President. In one tweet, it says “If you’re only voting for Hillary Clinton because she’s a woman, then you are literally so ignorant”. Another that was allegedly liked by Rae asks Twitter users to retweet if they support Hillary and like if they support Trump. While both accounts are still active, it appears the original tweets have been removed. Rae has not commented on recent speculations over support for former President Trump. However, she has refuted accusations in the past that she had a Trump flag in her bedroom. A viral TikTok in September 2020 also appeared to show Rae had registered as a Republican three times in 2014, 2016, and 2018. However, Rae said that the register was fake: “This isn’t real hahahaha. ohnePixel loses over $100k in an hour during CSGO case opening – Dexerto
ohnePixel loses over $100k in an hour during CSGO case opening ohnepixel/CS:GOohnePixel carried out one of the most expensive CSGO case openings ever recorded with roughly $130k worth of cases, sticker capsules, and souvenir packages. He walked away with next to nothing winnings-wise, but he hit over 250k peak viewers during the most expensive openings. Many of those who open CSGO cases on stream tell their viewers not to try opening expensive cases at home and advise them to buy the skins they want. While there are big winnings to be had for those who are lucky enough to get expensive items, most case openings end in massive losses. This is especially true of extremely rare and old cases. Souvenir packages and sticker capsules from almost a decade ago are worth thousands on their own and often yield much less than the buy-in unless you get the absolute best items. ohnePixel set out to make CSGO history by opening some of the game’s oldest cases. Unfortunately, he didn’t get any of the skins he was looking for and wound up turning $130k into almost nothing. xQc predicted that ohne’s case opening wouldn’t end well, and he was right. ohnePixel suffers over $100k worth of losses in CSGO opening It’s important to note that, while these openings were a massive loss, it wasn’t ohnePixel’s money to lose. He was given over $130k worth of cases to open, but only after he promised to open them. ohne stayed true to his word, and his word turned a massive amount of money into dust. Despite this, 250k peak viewers showed up to watch the opening with an average viewership far above 100k in what was certainly his biggest stream ever. Those who were there to experience it live have called it a “heartbreaking” experience, with ohne having several close calls on the AK-47 Case Hardened blue gem in particular. He managed to get a Stat-Trak AK at least, but it didn’t have the 661 pattern that could have made ohne an instant millionaire. Additionally, he didn’t manage to get a single knife over the course of his opening, and all of his souvenir packages were a dud. The AWP Dragon Lore souvenir wasn’t meant to be. While the result was ultimately a bit disappointing, everyone who got to watch the stream live got to see a once-in-a-lifetime event and made ohnePixel the Twitch streamer with the most live viewers on the platform at the time of the opening.

ohnePixel reveals he turned down $1 million per-month CSGO gambling sponsor – Dexerto
ohnePixel reveals he turned down $1 million per-month CSGO gambling sponsor ohnePixel/ValveohnePixel, one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, revealed that he turned down a CSGO gambling sponsor that was offering him a massive amount of money. As the popularity of CSGO skin collecting and trading has gone up, so has the popularity of streamers who collect some of the game’s rarest skins and open some of the most expensive cases. ohnePixel is one of the biggest when it comes to collecting skins, cementing himself as a titan in the scene with a mix of his passion about the skins and their history as well as his bombastic, over-the-top personality. It’s no surprise that he’s popular. However, despite dropping hundreds of thousands of dollars on cases and skins himself, he claimed that he chose to forgo a sponsorship from a gambling site that could have netted him millions. ohnePixel claims he denied million dollar CSGO gambling sponsor As the price of skins has hyperinflated on the market, an entire industry has been created based around trading, buying, and selling skins on the marketplace. Along with this popularity has come the ability to gamble for skins as a reward. Aside from Valve cracking down on gambling sites related to in-game skins, the massive amount of money generated from these in-game items has created massive profit for third-party sites capitalizing on the industry. According to ohnePixel, a gambling site approached him with a gambling sponsorship based around CSGO skins that he denied despite a massive paycheck. “I would be making f***ing a mil a month if I took a gambling sponsor, I’d say that. And I’m not making a mil a month right now.” ohne cited that he doesn’t want to take a gambling sponsor for the sake of making money if he doesn’t believe in their values. “I don’t want to just stream, take the bag, and then what? Have everything paid off for the rest of my life? I think I can do this long-term like this and still live an amazing life.” He was adamant that streaming wasn’t about the money, and that he wants to be happy with his content. “You are paying your bills with other people’s money that they went down the rabbit hole of an addiction, some cases may even end worse because, there’s always a percentage of gambling addicts that end up in a really bad spot, right?” Though ohne’s content does feature him wagering a massive amount of money with rare cases with the potential to get nothing out of it, he always tells his viewers not to do what he’s doing at home and that he’s likely not to make a profit. As was shown when he turned $130k into dust in a recent CSGO case opening stream. His openness about sponsors reaching out to him in the past earned him the love of his chat, and he’ll likely be doing just fine as one of the platform’s largest creators.

OhnePixel fans start viral troll that he died after taking a break from Twitch streaming – Dexerto
OhnePixel fans start viral troll that he died after taking a break from Twitch streaming YouTube: ohnePixelFans of the popular Twitch streamer ohnePixel have started a viral hoax that he has passed away – after the German streamer simply took a few days off from his usual daily schedule of streams. Although relatively new to Twitch fame, ohnePixel’s stream has been growing rapidly over the past twelve months, with his average viewership in May spiking to as much as 29,000. This put him among the biggest streamers on the whole platform, as he became the most popular CS:GO streamer by far, co-streaming the BLAST Paris Major. Following the major’s conclusion though, Ohne, real name Mark, has slowed down the streams, taking a week-long break at the time of writing. Given this was unusual, and came announced, some fans actually began to worry about him, asking what had happened. Is ohnePixel dead? No, ohnePixel is alive and well. However, if you have seen the countless TikToks and Twitter memes, you may have been led to believe otherwise. On June 14, six days after his last stream, the ‘ohnePixel‘ TikTok account posted a video captioned “Cya soon, lil bro”. The video was a compilation of ohnePixel clips, and said “fly high Mark.” This video quickly went viral, racking up almost 2 million views in 24 hours. Since then, a number of other TikTok’s all leaning into the joke that the streamer had passed were posted. Even fellow CS:GO streamer PSP1G got in on the fun, with a Tweet suggesting Ohne had died in 2023. Where is ohnePixel? So, since he is in fact alive and well, where is ohnePixel? Providing an update to his fans on Discord, the streamer explained on June 12: “Sorry for not being live, but let me cook for 1 or 2 more days, taking these days off for a good reason. New era soon!” He didn’t give any other indication as to what he is “cooking” – but fans are speculating that he is moving home, and possibly moving away from the Netherlands, where he currently lives. He has mentioned moving to Switzerland, due to his streaming career causing difficulties with his neighbors, and internet issues. So who knows, perhaps he is sorting out his next home. For now, all we can say for sure is that he is very much not dead, and fans can look forward to him returning to Twitch soon.

OfflineTV’s Michael Reeves finally returns to YouTube with crazy ‘peeing’ robot – Dexerto
OfflineTV’s Michael Reeves finally returns to YouTube with crazy ‘peeing’ robot YouTube: Michael ReevesOfflineTV’s mad scientist Michael Reeves has returned to YouTube after a hiatus of seven months, and showed off an innovative new way of serving drinks using a robot dog. Michael Reeves is best known for his crazy inventions, where he creates gadgets that do things normal people wouldn’t even contemplate. In the past, Reeves has constructed everything from a racist Tickle Me Elmo to a baby that shoots lasers. After his YouTube success, Reeves joined OfflineTV as its seventh member back in December 2019 after multiple guest appearances on their streams. Reeves’ personal channel has amassed over 5.8 million subscribers. However, the OTV robotics expert hadn’t uploaded on this channel for over 6 months, and teased his return to fans on Twitter on April 7. Two days later, he returned in classic Michael Reeves fashion. Oh shit I forgot to make YouTube videos for the past 6 months — Michael Reeves (@michaelreeves) April 7, 2021 On April 9, Reeves ended a seven-month YouTube hiatus by revealing his latest hair-brained scheme featuring a robot dog, beer, and a $30 security camera. The idea was to create a hands-free, movement-free method of refilling cups with beer. Michael designed a pressure pump, complete with a mechanical phallus, and mounted it on the dog. The dog was then programmed to stand over and ‘urinate’ beer directly into any red cup. Reeves had actually teased this insane idea way back in July 2020 in a video with fellow OTV member Disguised Toast. The group collectively forked out over $70k to buy this high-tech robot dog in October after the robot’s manufacturer, Boston Dynamics, refused to send him one for free. Michael Reeves explains YouTube upload plans In this latest video, Reeves explained his plans to begin uploading on his personal YouTube channel more often, after dedicating much of his hiatus to streaming Minecraft on Twitch and producing content for the flagship OTV YouTube channel. “I haven’t made a video in a while, and I kind of miss it,” he admitted. “So I’m looking forward to making more, ideally without the six month break in between. “But no guarantees; the new Minecraft update looks pretty sick, so I might be busy with that for a bit.” Fans were delighted to see Reeves back in his element, with this new video accumulating over two million views less than 24 hours after being uploaded. Fellow OfflineTV member Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys reacted to Reeves’ ‘peeing robot dog’ video live on her stream, and explained how producing this kind of content shows him at his happiest. “There’s only three things that make him smile like this,” she said. “[his girlfriend] Lily, [their dog] Temmie, and some form of frightening mechanical engineering advancement.” Either way, the crazy engineer’s return will be welcomed by fans who have missed his perfect mixture of comedy and technical ingenuity.

Offset explains the real reason he turned down Kai Cenat’s famous jail stream – Dexerto
Offset explains the real reason he turned down Kai Cenat’s famous jail stream Twitch: Kai Cenat/Instagram: offsetyrnKai Cenat’s bizarre jail stream had a host of streamers and rappers in a simulated prison environment for seven days. One notable absence was rapper Offset who has broken his silence on why he refused a spot on the stream. Jail streams are all the rage now for whatever reason. Big names like Ice Posidon and Aidin Ross have gone to great lengths to set them up. Following Ross’ jail stream, resulting from a direct challenge by Andrew Tate, Kai Cenat jumped on the trend. Initially announcing it in a call to Nicki Minaj, Cenat gathered a number of popular streamers and rappers including Druski and Ski Mask the Slump God. Former Migos rapper Offset originally planned to join Kai Cenat’s jail stream but dropped out before filming began. In an interview on radio show The Morning Hustle, Offset revealed why he chose not to participate. Fans of Kai Cenat had initially speculated that Offset didn’t join the stream after the streamer gave a negative review of his most recent album. Offset said that Cenat’s Set it Off review had nothing to do with the decision. He was actually appreciative of the “honest opinion” from Cenat and revealed the real reason he didn’t partake in the jail stream was much deeper. “I didn’t do the jail thing because I really had to think about it. I really come from that. It’s really bros and homies struggling with that,” Offset explained. “It’s not really a game like, It’s a serious thing. I understand content and I salute it; I just couldn’t be a part of that content because if ya’ll remember, I come from that,” the rapper said. “I got real homies that can’t get out ever.” Offset has spent time in prison himself, including the first few months that his former group Migos were finding success. The rapper explained that he didn’t do the jail stream to avoid making “a mockery” of that. Despite jail streams seeming like a relatively new phenomenon, they’ve been around for quite some time. The first major prison challenge was actually hosted by Ice Poseidon five years ago. When asked whether he told Cenat that this particular jail stream was a bad idea or making light of a serious issue, Offset defended the streamer. “I know where his heart was for the situation,” he said. “It ain’t that serious to him, like, he’s a kid.”

OfflineTV reveal which members make the most money – Dexerto
OfflineTV reveal which members make the most money Popular content creation collective OfflineTV sat down to rank their members in terms of the money they make – and the number one person is exactly who you’re thinking of. OfflineTV is a group of popular streamers that includes Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang, and William ‘Scarra’ Li who are based out of California, and regularly appear in each others content. Aside from streaming, where they all have their own huge loyal followings, the group gets together for their OfflineTV podcast which regularly attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers as they delve into a wide-ranging variety of topics. During their November 24 episode, the group released their podcast centered around the topic of money – including ranking each member from first to last in how much cash they make on a monthly basis. “Poki is number one, let’s just get that out of the way,” revealed Disguised Toast’, before the conversation went elsewhere and they dove into Fedmyster’s student debt. Yet, they did circle back to their original point. “So, it’s Poki, me, Scarra, Michael, Lily, Fed, Yvonne,” said Disguised Toast, while Scarra chimed in with a subtle “yes,” confirming his rankings. Timestamp for mobile viewers of 9:15 Despite ranking each other, the group wasn’t in the business of handing out exact figures for their earnings as that is very much a security and privacy risk for everyone concerned. Yet, Disguised Toast did note that there is another avenue they can explore – monetizing Twitter videos. The Facebook streamer earlier explained that he had made $100 for posting a cat video that received around 100,000 views. “Poki, you could make so much,” called out LilyPichu, who had been behind the camera. “You’re leaving like 1,000 dollars on the table every time you tweet a video that you were gonna tweet anyway,” added Disguised Toast. Of course, the success of the OfflineTV crew, and Pokimane, in particular, will come as no surprise to fans and those who follow social media numbers. She is Twitch’s most popular female streamer, with over 3.5 million followers on the platform, as well as another 4 million on Instagram, and the same on YouTube.

OffKai Expo axes Nijisanji trio to ensure “positive experience” for guests – Dexerto
OffKai Expo axes Nijisanji trio to ensure “positive experience” for guests OffKaiExpo/AnyCOLOROffKai Expo has dropped three Nijisanji EN members from the event following concerns that their attendance would negatively impact the desired “positive convention experience,” for guests and vendors. Following the news of Selen Tatsuki’s termination and Nijisanji’s alleged toxic environment, the agency has taken a sizable reputation hit in the wider VTuber community. Despite the CEO’s assurance changes would be made to prevent a similar situation in the future, many fans are still upset with what transpired. These controversial events even led Nijisanji to lose collaboration opportunities with official partners with HYTE withdrawing on February 7. With the popular VTuber convention OffKai Expo just a few months away, Nijisanji had an opportunity to reach out to its fans and potentially improve the situation, but that won’t be happening anymore. Offkai Expo drops Nijisanji EN’s Ethyria OffKai Expo has announced on X/Twitter that it has canceled the Nijisanji panel featuring the three members of Ethyria, “After thoughtful consideration, Offkai Expo believes that recent events have resulted in an environment where Ethyria appearing would not be conducive to a positive convention experience for ANYCOLOR Inc’s Livers or our attendees.” The announcement continues, “Enna Allouette, Millie Parfait, and Reimu Endou will not be appearing at OffKai Expo 2024,” with the three Ethyria members previously set to be the lone Nijisanji representatives at the convention. OffKai Expo clarified, “For the record, this was a decision made two weeks prior and has no relation to today’s events and misunderstandings,” in reference to concerns that some guests and vendors were being rejected due to Nijisanji’s influence. The VTuber convention refuted these claims assuring fans, “Nijisanji has not influenced our guest or vendor hall decisions at any point in time,” and that claims stating otherwise made them “deeply concerned.” As of March 5, neither Nijisanji nor any of the three impacted Livers have commented on the decision either on stream or in a more official capacity. Meanwhile, the fan reaction has been mixed with some believing this decision was necessary to protect the event’s feel-good factor while others have accused OffKai Expo of acting too rashly and being influenced by third parties.

OfflineTV becomes an anime with star-studded ‘BREAK OUT’ music video – Dexerto
OfflineTV becomes an anime with star-studded ‘BREAK OUT’ music video YouTube / OfflineTVAfter teasing a huge announcement with a series of cryptic tweets, Twitch’s powerhouse content creation group, OfflineTV, revealed their anime music video ‘BREAK OUT,’ featuring all of the group’s members in a star-studded lineup. Dating all the way back to 2017, OfflineTV has become one of the most popular groups of content creators to join forces and create exciting content for their viewers together. It’s no surprise that they’ve amassed a following in the millions, with a lineup of creators that includes some of the biggest names in the space: Scarra, Pokimane, LilyPichu, Disguised Toast, and Michael Reeves. Now, the conglomerate of creators has taken the internet by storm with their very own anime music video, ‘BREAK OUT,’ featuring the five members of OfflineTV plus their very own anime mascot, Hina. After releasing a series of cryptic hints on Twitter, OfflineTV officially announced the debut of their music video on October 2, right as the anime went live on the OTV YouTube account. The video features all five OTV members adventuring throughout a series of mystical worlds — getting into plenty of hysterical (and dangerous) situations along the way. Each member can be seen wearing an outfit or using or piece of equipment that is linked to their brand. Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang can be seen tossing around pieces of toast stamped with his signature mustache and sunglasses logo, for example. While the video (and its announcement) were enough to draw in fans by the thousands, the OTV crew also used the anime to reveal another upcoming event: the OTV Creative Challenge. Want to get involved in creating something awesome with OfflineTV? We’re looking for people to help us make something really, REALLY cool 😎 Click to join the #OTVCreativeChallenge ➡️ https://t.co/t2rj9UAvzm pic.twitter.com/lf13ndPsWq — OfflineTV (@OfflineTV) October 2, 2021 As detailed in the video and on Twitter, OfflineTV are “looking for people to help us make something really cool,” and advised anyone interested in collabing with the group to apply and participate in the ‘#OTVCreativeChallenge.’ The application also hinted at what fans can look forward to: “[We want] to find great ideas, writers, and storytellers to work alongside with [on] developing a captivating story to share with our community . . . that even strangers to OTV can come to love and enjoy.” At the time of writing, ‘BREAK OUT’ has amassed over 100k views, and the reveal was also met with an overwhelmingly positive reception — dozens of other creators from all over Twitch and YouTube sent their congratulations to the OTV crew. The anime is another example of how OfflineTV continues to innovate within the content creation space. It certainly appears that fans haven’t seen the last of OTV’s anime personas, but for now, we’ll just have to wait and see what they come up with next.

Official Twitch channel gets hate raided by racist bots – Dexerto
Official Twitch channel gets hate raided by racist bots TwitchTwitch’s official gaming channel was hate raided during their broadcast of the Xbox Games Showcase, adding to the problem that has been popping up more and more on Twitch. Twitch has had a massive problem of streamers, big and small, being attacked by bot accounts spamming racist or otherwise offensive messages in chat. These ‘hate raids’ have been condemned by Twitch, and although they announced a plan of action to curtail the problem, streamers are still calling on them to do more. Twitch star streamer Hasan Piker said that he wanted a stronger response from the company, and fellow streamer TriHex has demanded Twitch take action after being hate raided himself. Twitch’s own channel was now attacked, bringing the problem right to their own front door. Twitch Gaming gets hate raided Twitter user PhoenixYani noticed a hate raid occurring live on Twitch’s own gaming channel. Twitch Gaming was hosting the Xbox Games Showcase, which shows off Xbox’s newest titles when the hate raid messages came flowing into the chat. Phoenix said “maybe they’ll do something now”, as the problem of hate raids has come right to Twitch’s official account during a live stream in collaboration with Xbox. not me looking in on twitch gaming and they were being hate raided. Maybe they’ll do something now pic.twitter.com/IggJvyivxl — DRACARYS (@PhoenixYani) August 24, 2021 One of the suggestions TriHex made after he was hate raided was to only allow accounts with 2-factor authentication to send messages in the chat, that way bots can’t spam messages. He said, “I advocate a two-factor authentication toggle be added — only 2FA accounts can send messages. Add a separate option for broadcasters to choose if any posts from non-2FA (bots) get deleted upon toggle as well.” Twitch itself has recommended that streamers use the tools available to them to try to prevent these hate raids, such as blocking terms. However, this has proven difficult, as the bots can use an endless variation of characters to get around any blocking protections.

Official Overwatch channel banned on Twitch and no one knows why – Dexerto
Official Overwatch channel banned on Twitch and no one knows why Twitch/Blizzard EntertainmentOverwatch fans were left absolutely baffled after Twitch unexpectedly banned the official Korean Overwatch account for seemingly no reason. 2022 has been a wild year for Twitch bans. The year saw Pokimane receive her first-ever ban on the platform for watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and earlier in March, chess grandmaster GMHikaru was suspended for watching Dr Disrespect on YouTube. Now, the hits keep on rolling with the Amazon-owned platform banning the Overwatchkr account on March 24. Fans are left absolutely confused and had no idea why the account was taken offline, especially seeing as it hadn’t been live in five days. ❌ Twitch Partner “”오버워치”” (@overwatchkr) has been banned! ❌https://t.co/Tlq9hs7BtD#twitch #ban #firstban #partner #twitchpartner 🐮 — StreamerBans (@StreamerBans) March 24, 2022 Twitch bans official Overwatch account On March 24, the Twitter account StreamerBans revealed that Overwatchkr had been banned on Twitch, sparking a lot of discussions among fans. According to the stat-tracking site Twitchmetrics, The Korean account was last live on March 18 to broadcast a match between Talon and O2 Blast. Some viewers immediately started joking that Overwatch was a dead game that hadn’t been updated in some time and that’s why Twitch banned the account. Others simply couldn’t believe the account violated the site’s guidelines and demanded to know what it had done wrong to earn a ban. Despite the reason being unclear, it’s also unknown how long the ban will last for. This could prove to be troublesome, especially if Blizzard had planned an Overwatch 2 stream for Korean audiences on Twitch. We’ll have to wait and see what happens and if the ban was down in error or if the channel actually is deserving of the punishment.

Off-duty pilot attempts to crash plane to escape bad trip on mushrooms – Dexerto
Off-duty pilot attempts to crash plane to escape bad trip on mushrooms Unsplash: Andrew Palmer / LinkedInAn off-duty pilot facing 83 counts of attempted murder after he tried to crash a plane claims he was having a bad trip on hallucinogenic mushrooms. A 44-year-old off-duty pilot is facing 83 counts of attempted murder after trying to switch off an Alaska Airlines fuel supply mid-flight. Joseph Emerson was seated in the plane’s cockpit when he reportedly attempted to pull two handles to cut the engine’s fuel but was subdued by the crew and arrested upon landing. Now, Emerson has revealed to the New York Times from a jailhouse interview that the incident took place after he allegedly consumed hallucinogenic “magic” mushrooms two days prior. Having taken the mushrooms during a weekend getaway commemorating the death of his best friend in 2018, Emerson claims he was experiencing a bad trip in which he didn’t know what was real. Texting a friend that he was “having a panic attack”, Emerson ultimately determined the best course of action would be to crash the plane he was onboard in hopes of waking up. “I thought I would stop both engines, the plane would start to head towards a crash, and I would wake up,” he said, revealing he had been struggling with depression for months and had not slept for 40 hours prior to the flight. His trip, however, continued even after Emerson’s first attempt to “wake up” was stopped. Upon descent, he allegedly tried to open an emergency exit so that he could jump out and later proceeded to strip down, urinate on himself, and masturbate while in the airport detention room. “I am horrified that those actions put myself at risk and others at risk,” Emerson said. “That crew got dealt a situation there’s no manual, checklist, or procedure that’s been written for.” Emerson has since pleaded not guilty to all 83 counts of attempted murder and has been relieved of all duties by Alaska Airlines; “I don’t know if I’ll ever fly an airplane again. I really don’t. And I had a moment where that kind of became obvious.” Be sure to check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Betting odds reveal slight favorite in KSI vs Logan Paul rematch – Dexerto
Betting odds reveal slight favorite in KSI vs Logan Paul rematch YouTube: Matchroom BoxingThe betting odds for the Logan Paul and KSI boxing rematch have been released – with the American being tipped as an early favorite. After a year of back-and-forth, rumors, and speculation, KSI and Logan Paul finally announced that they would be stepping back into the ring and squaring off in their long-awaited rematch on November 9. The difference this round, though, will be that the fight is a completely professional event – with Matchroom Boxing, who are promoting the event, placing world title fights on the undercard. Of course, the pair have traded verbal blows in their two press conferences, but now, the betting markets have had their first say on what they believe will happen. According to OddsChecker, a website that rounds up betting odds from multiple UK betting outlets, Logan Paul has started things off as a slight favorite over KSI. As of writing, the average odds for the American winning in any fashion stand at 4/7, which means that you’d have to bet £10 to receive £15.71. KSI, however, is at 9/5 – so you’d get £28 back from betting £10. Yet, anyone who wants to back a second draw between the pair, they’d get substantial outside odds, with most bookmakers offering that at around 10/1. It’s a similar story with bookmakers in the United States, as Bovada opened the odds with Logan slightly edging things as well prior to the press conferences. Since then, other websites have joined in on the fun – still giving Logan a slight advantage. BetOnline has KSI as a +135 underdog, and his YouTube counterpart as a -165 favorite. Again, betting $10 on KSI would net $23.50, while the same amount on Logan would get $16.06 back. Opening odds for KSI vs Logan Paul 2 (Bovada):@LoganPaul -130@KSIOlajidebt -110#KSILoganPaul2 https://t.co/U1XZ09vIDr — Odds Shark (@OddsShark) September 3, 2019 Of course, these odds are based on what the odd setters can see in terms of ability, size, and where the market is going. They will, though, fluctuate as the fight draws ever close and who knows, we may even see KSI leading the pack before the two trade blows inside the Staples Centre.

Odell Beckham Jr parodies viral TikTok self-defense guru during NFL touchdown celebration – Dexerto
Odell Beckham Jr parodies viral TikTok self-defense guru during NFL touchdown celebration TikTok/Twitter: @objLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr showed off his self-defense skills as he recreated TikToker Detroit_dust’s maneuver during a touchdown celebration. It’s not very often that professional football crosses over with TikTok creators, but OBJ made it happen during a recent game against the Arizona Cardinals on December 13. When players make a touchdown during the game, it is often celebrated with a dance — whether it’s something the player makes up, something they’ve seen take over the dance floor, or even something popular on social media. In the case of LA Rams Wide Reciever Odell Beckham Jr, he decided to celebrate a touchdown with a bit of Detroit threat management. OBJ parodies viral TikTok self-defense guru Posted on his TikTok account shortly after the end of his game, OBJ showed the inspiration he had for his celebration. (Click here if TikTok doesn’t load) The TikToker he received his inspiration from is Detroit_Dust, who has just over 28,000 followers and claims to specialize in non-violent ways to practice self-defense. According to their website, DUST stands for “Detroit Urban Survival Training” and that their real-world training has been proven to work, allowing police and the public to protect themselves from violent attackers. Odell Beckham Jr’s notable celebration caught the eyes of tens of thousands of fans on TikTok, and Snoop Dogg also said on Instagram that it is the best celebration he’s ever seen. (Click here if Instagram doesn’t load) View this post on Instagram OBJ has gained popularity over the years thanks to his talent playing the game since 2014, his efforts to raise charity, as well as his various TV show and music video appearances — including having a cameo in Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande’s song “Bed.” Maybe as Odell makes it more popular to bring social media into his celebrations, we’ll see more players follow in his footsteps.

Obscene Santa display goes viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons – Dexerto
Obscene Santa display goes viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons TikTok: ambieannzzz, Byte DanceAs festive spirits all across the globe gear up for Christmas, 2021, one TikTok user’s accidental obscene Santa display has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. For many, Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year. With presents, amazing food, and a good old party on the cards, the holiday is the light at the end of the darkened winter tunnel. Of course, TikTokers have been quick to capitalize on the festive season, showing off their often extravagant Christmas decorations on the app. One TikTok (now dubbed the “obscene Santa display”) has gone viral – and it’s not exactly hard to see why. “Obscene” Santa display TikTok goes viral In a clip entitled “just a tiny mistake,” TikTok user ambieannzzz has uploaded a video of her family’s robotic Santa display. However, instead of waving away as it should do, she notes that her “husband forgot to zip-tie Santa’s hand up to WAVE.” In turn, this has accidentally made the light-up figure look as though he is performing what has been branded an “obscene” gesture. Click here if TikTok doesn’t load below. As you can imagine, the comments section is having an absolute blast. Even one of Amber’s neighbors chimed in, writing that “this is absolutely obscene. The overspray is nearly reaching my front yard!!” One response claims that Amber was clearly “on the naughty list this year,” while others tell her to leave the festive icon alone as he “only comes once a year” and is giving them a “white Christmas.” Either way, despite her Christmas decorations not going quite as planned, Amber’s rude Santa has warmed the hearts of people all across the globe. We just really, really hope we’re not on the naughty list this time around…

NyQuil responds to TikTok’s viral ‘Sleepy Chicken’ trend – Dexerto
NyQuil responds to TikTok’s viral ‘Sleepy Chicken’ trend TikTok: janelleandkate / Unsplash: Alexander ShatovNyQuil has responded to a viral TikTok trend which sees participants cook chicken in cold medicine, after the FDA warned users against trying the “unsafe” trend. In September, the Food and Drug Administration warned users against a social media challenge that encouraged users to cook raw chicken in cold medicine NyQuil, also known as the ‘Sleepy Chicken’ trend. Videos featuring ‘Sleepy Chicken’ have garnered hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok, though it appears that most of them are intended as a joke to shock viewers, who have made a number of reaction videos to this bizarre ‘recipe.’ The FDA wrote: “It could also be very unsafe. Boiling a medication can make it much more concentrated and change its properties in other ways. Even if you don’t eat the chicken, inhaling the medication’s vapors while cooking could cause high levels of the drugs to enter your body. It could also hurt your lungs. Put simply: Someone could take a dangerously high amount of the cough and cold medicine without even realizing it.” After a number of people tweeted NyQuil about the trend, the company responded to the posts and the viral trend. “Consumer safety is our number one priority, and we do not endorse inappropriate use of our product,” they wrote. “NyQuil is an OTC medication that treats nighttime symptoms of the common cold & flu. It should be taken as directed using the dosage cup provided – not to exceed 4 doses in 24 hrs.” It looks as though ‘Sleepy Chicken’ could continue to pop up on social media in the future, as each time it goes viral, it prompts a new wave of reaction videos and posts from people who are just encountering the trend for the first time.

OBS and Streamlabs reach agreement after plagiarism controversy – Dexerto
OBS and Streamlabs reach agreement after plagiarism controversy Streamlabs / OBSStreaming services OBS and Streamlabs have reached an agreement following controversy in November 2021. Streamlabs was accused of stealing OBS’ name, as well as plagiarizing from other streamer tool developers and using photos of Twitch stars like Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys without their consent. Streamlabs was criticized on November 17 after a number of streaming tools developers — and streamers themselves — accused the company of stealing and plagiarism, as well as using photos of streamers in promotion material without their consent. The developers behind Lightstream claimed Streamlabs copied their website to promote their new Studio service. Open-source streaming software OBS also accused Streamlabs of stealing their name — for Streamlabs OBS — after originally being asked not to use it. 🤡 Hey, can I copy your homework? ▽ Yeah, just change it up a bit so it’s not obvious you copied. 🤡 Bet. pic.twitter.com/xODY5uDZeP — Lightstream (@Lightstream) November 16, 2021 However, OBS and Streamlabs have reached an agreement on December 24 to “commit to a long-term collaboration”. “In the past few weeks, [the OBS team] have been in discussion with Streamlabs to have a transparent conversation on trust and partnership, and together, we now have a plan moving forward,” they said in a statement. “Both of our teams have a shared mission to support streamers, and the industry is better when we can all work together. We are happy to have Streamlabs support the project in the long-term so we can continue to build tools for the community.” Streamlabs added to OBS’ statement, saying: “Our goal has always been to serve creators, and we are grateful for the opportunity to establish a better relationship to do that.” Streamlabs has also removed the name OBS from all their products, renaming to Streamlabs Desktop. We are grateful to Jim and the team for the open dialogue. Without your hard work, Streamlabs would not be possible. Our goal has always been to serve creators, and we are grateful for the opportunity to establish a better relationship to do that. — Streamlabs (@streamlabs) December 24, 2021 Streamlabs’ new response has still been met with criticism from creators following the widespread accusations. Earlier claims from the likes of Pokimane saw numerous Twitch stars vow to never use Streamlabs again after using photos of them without their permission. Some are choosing to stand by the boycott, but big names are yet to speak out on the latest agreement.

NymN’s Twitch stream host had heartbreakingly bad timing – Dexerto
NymN’s Twitch stream host had heartbreakingly bad timing Twitch: NymN / TwitchPopular Twitch personality ‘NymN’ decided to host another channel during his stream. But after re-visiting the clip later on, a sub donation alert had the worst timing ever. One of the more charitable aspects of Twitch is when popular personalities with a big audience host another unexpected streamer which helps boost their views and followers. However, this backfired for popular streamer NymN, who after hosting a channel that was having an emotional moment on September 13, revisited a clip of it when a sub alert happened at the worst timing ever, quickly making things awkward. Horrible timing On his September 12 broadcast, NymN decided to be charitable and hosted another channel. Things quickly took an emotional turn as the streamer he hosted was telling his audience a heartbreaking story about death. When the popular Twitch personality heard about the emotional streamer he had hosted, he went back to revisit a clip of it in front of his audience, when a sub alert sounded off which repeatedly yelled “Congratulations!”, accompanied with loud clapping. As the sub text-to-speech continued to go on uncomfortably, the Twitch personality immediately gritted his teeth and looked side to side, as he recognized the timing was horrible. “That was bad timing…” he said somberly, as the originally-hosted stream clip continued in the background after the awkward moment had passed. Earlier in his stream, while being hosted by NymN, a Twitch streamer named ‘Seirion’ was in the middle of retelling his story about attending a funeral and explaining the emotional aspects of dealing with death of someone you know. “The mother of my friend throughout the whole ceremony, she was just sitting there, not shedding a single tear, up to the moment that her son was buried,” he said. “It was by far the most powerful thing that I’ve ever seen. Knowing that you’ve had plans. Knowing that you had plans with that person and the next day you get a call… That friend died.” The moment was still emotional for many that watched, making NymN’s act of hosting his channel no less wholesome, regardless of the terrible timing of the sub alert snafu.

On August 4, Kai Cenat and his friends were hosting an IRL stream from Union Square in New York City when it went awry. A riot quickly broke out, with people downtown attacking others while throwing smoke bombs and other various things around the crowd. The mayor of NYC has speculated that “outside influencers” came to aggravate the situation, and the NYPD is asking for help to find other suspects. NYPD asks for help in Kai Cenat giveaway riot According to a report from Fox News, NYPD Chief Jeffery Maddrey called for help on August 7, 2023, asking for the public’s assistance in identifying more suspects in the massive riot. NYPD Crime Stoppers released security camera footage of several people that they are looking for in connection with the riot, and Maddrey shared the sentiment that they might not have been there for Kai. “We’re looking at all possibilities. We’re looking at every investigative lead. But as I said, it was dangerous, whether outside agitators or young people, it was a dangerous situation,” the Chief said, “It was not the place to bring that sort of activity. Our young people deserve to come out in the summertime, see the people they admire and have a good time. It should never, ever reach that level, the level that it did on Friday.” Kai has yet to make a statement regarding the situation, likely due to the fact he’s been charged with inciting a riot. We’ll be sure to update you when he decides to address the situation publicly. In the meantime, head over to check out what AMP had to say about the incident.

Streamer NymN surprised by length of channel ban for TwitchCon violation – Dexerto
Streamer NymN surprised by length of channel ban for TwitchCon violation Twitch streamer NymN has been left shocked after being banned for 14 days stemming from an unfortunate incident during TwitchCon 2019. TwitchCon is a time for many streamers to meet with their fans in person and take a break from the streaming grind. Of course, not everyone takes time off as we saw NymN had some IRL streams during the convention, but unfortunately, he was met with a ban as a result of it. NYC subway workers caught partying & watching Tfue in secret “man cave” – Dexerto
NYC subway workers caught partying & watching Tfue in secret “man cave” Freepik, Wirestock / Instagram, @tfue[jwplayer 91I9RIGm] A trio of New York City’s MTA subway workers have been suspended without pay after investigators discovered a secret “man cave” that they used to kick back, drink beers, and watch Tfue’s Twitch stream. New York City’s subterranean transit system is filled with a variety of storage rooms and facilities, particularly at the iconic Grand Central Terminal, which is home to both MTA subways and Metro North trains. At one such room, a former locksmith shop below Track 114, the MTA’s Inspector General, Carolyn Pokorny, discovered a hidden “man cave.” Following some failed investigations into the incognito lounge within the past couple years, it was finally opened up in September 2020 and investigators discovered a full suite befitting a gamer’s relaxation zone. Not only did they find a visibly used couch, but also a carefully hidden futon, refrigerator (fit with an opened 24 oz. can of beer), microwave, and a wall-mounted TV hilariously left on Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s Twitch stream. The “”man cave”” also had a futon with a secret storage compartment, as well as exercise equipment, airbeds, and a fridge 🤣 (via MTA Office of the Inspector General) pic.twitter.com/KkmOMhZ00F — Dexerto (@Dexerto) September 24, 2020 As the NY Post’s David Meyer reports, Pokorny was a blend of surprised and impressed with the workers’ secret lair: “Many a New Yorker has fantasized about kicking back with a cold beer in a prime piece of Manhattan real estate — especially one this close to good transportation. Few would have the chutzpah to commandeer a secret room beneath Grand Central Terminal.” But the few that did turned out to be a trio of Metro North employees (a wireman, carpenter foreman, and electrical foreman). Unsurprisingly, given their professions, the three had crafted custom wooden cabinets to half-heartedly conceal their makeshift furniture and had even set up a mobile hotspot to enable their kick-back entertainment. The locksmith room was converted into a storage room by the MTA, but five years after the electrical foreman last worked with the locksmiths, it appears he and a couple fellow employees decided the room was better suited to relaxation. While certainly understandable in one of the world’s busiest transit hubs, the Post reports that they also admitted to hanging out there while receiving overtime pay. Read more: What’s Brewing? NYC woman arrested after allegedly assaulting subway performer with water bottle Instagram: eyeglasses.stringmusicA woman in NYC has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a subway performer with a metal water bottle while he was playing the cello. In mid-February 2024, Cellist Iain Forrest was playing his electric cello in a New York City when he was attacked by a random person with a metal water bottle he had sitting on the ground behind him. Forrest posted a video of the incident on Instagram, revealing that this was the second time he had been attacked in the last year and made the decision to halt performances for the time being. Just days later, Fox5 New York updated readers on the incident and revealed the alleged attacker had been found. Woman arrested after allegedly attacking NYC cellist In the report, Fox5NY says that the 23-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault. However, there is still no word as to why she allegedly attacked the cellist. Forrest was performing by the tracks of a Manhattan subway when the incident occurred while he was playing his electric cello. In a statement to Fox 5, he said that he felt a terrible pain in the back of his head and people around him appeared horrified. “I just felt terrible pain in the back of my head. I was out of it, and when I saw my metal water bottle rolling around on the ground, and saw my fans who were watching the performance, their faces were absolutely horrified, then I put it together,” Forrest said. “I was terrified to share it with my fans too and subject other people, but I thought it was important to show people what happens to musicians who perform in the subway. This actually happens a lot.”

NYC Mayor thinks “outside influencers” came to start Kai Cenat giveaway riot – Dexerto
NYC Mayor thinks “outside influencers” came to start Kai Cenat giveaway riot YouTube: KaiCenatLiveNew York City Mayor Eric Adams has suggested that the riot that evolved after Kai Cenat announced an IRL giveaway could have been driven by “outside influencers.” On August 4, 2023, Twitch star Kai Cenat announced that he was doing an IRL giveaway in New York City when thousands of his fans arrived at the area he was in. It quickly turned into a riot, leading to the NYPD pressing charges against Cenat. However, NYC Mayor Eric Adams said in a press conference that he thinks “outside influencers” may have come to Union Square to start the riot after Kai announced the giveaway. NYC Mayor thinks “outside influencers” caused Kai Cenat riot In a press conference just a day after the incident, Mayor Adams made the suggestion that people outside of Kai’s fan base may have arrived with the sole purpose of starting the riot. “We are further looking into were there even some outside agitators. You don’t come to get free Game Boys and bring smoke bombs and bring M-80’s and other disruptive items,” said Adams. “We believe that there were some outside influencers that may have attempted to aggravate the situation.” Kai Cenat has yet to respond to the situation since his arrest on August 4, likely due to legal counsel advising him to stay quiet while they figure out the situation. According to the video, Police arrested about 65 people during the riot with roughly half of them being under the age of 18. We’ll be sure to update you as the situation involving Kai continues to evolve, but in the meantime, you can check out what his org, AMP, had to say about the chaotic giveaway.

Nyanners mysteriously gains 100,000 followers following Twitch ban – Dexerto
Nyanners mysteriously gains 100,000 followers following Twitch ban Twitch: NyannersVShojo star Nyanners was taken off Twitch for a day following her new outfit debut, forcing the VTuber to get a model change rushed out. However, in the aftermath of her 24-hour suspension, she has mysteriously gained 100,000 followers, nearing the 1 million mark. Nyanners definitely uses her streams to push the boundaries, and her recent outfit on Twitch caught the ire of moderators on the platform for that exact reason. Her “Ancient” design didn’t leave much to the imagination, and toed the “inappropriate attire” line a bit too close. The model, designed by VYUGEN’s Dya Rikku who streamed the creation process on Twitch in the preceding weeks, was enough to ban the VTuber for a day on the platform. However, it took the platform a number of days following her debut to take action. “I’m assuming is cause my model might show a little too much skin, just confused cause it’s been almost a week since I started using it,” she said on November 4. “Dya worked so hard on it too so I feel awful, hopefully, we can figure something out for when I come back to not upset Twitch. I will be on my best behavior.” Now donning a sweater that says ‘I love Jesus’ to block out the infringing bits, Twitch has given Nyanners the a-ok to return. Something else is different though, and that’s her follower count. According to Socialblade, Nyanners’ Twitch following exploded after her unbanning. She went from 861,000 followers to 983,000, gaining more than 120,000 and pushing her close to the big 1 million mark. Whether they are all legitimate remains to be seen though. Unbanned accounts on Twitch are known for having wildly inconsistent follower counts for the hours after the system recalibrates it all. The platform has also dealt with bots in the past boosting an account’s following by millions. Dexerto has reached out to VShojo for comment about the situation. For now though, Nyanners sits less than 20,000 from the big 1 million, which she should hopefully be able to celebrate without too much controversy.

Nyanners opens up about why she left VShojo in sudden exit – Dexerto
Nyanners opens up about why she left VShojo in sudden exit Twitch: nyannersPopular VTuber ‘Nyanners’ has explained why she suddenly left VShojo after the exit of two of the organization’s top creators, Silvervale and Veibae. VTubers are a steadily rising demographic of online entertainers that have taken the streaming world by storm. In fact, a number of VTubers are currently dominating as Twitch’s most-watched female broadcasters. As such, it makes sense that VTubers generate a lot of buzz with their every move — and that’s exactly what happened when some of VShojo’s top talent suddenly decided to leave the agency last month. In late April, several major VTubers left the organization, including names like Silvervale, Veibae, and later, Nyanners. All three creators have made the decision to become independent and will manage their own content for the foreseeable future. Nyanners explains why she decided to leave VShojo At the time, VShojo released a statement via Twitter claiming that Nyanners had decided not to renew her contract with them, but didn’t offer any other information. Now, fans have a better idea as to why she took her leave from the agency after she explained the situation during a recent broadcast. “I guess what I can say about my decision …it was based on a number of things,” she said in a May 2 broadcast. “Not just about the content, although that was a factor. I can’t go into detail or talk about much, but it is something I considered very, very heavily for some time.” “I just decided that it made more sense for me to be independent, overall,” she continued. “That’s the biggest reason, I guess. Being independent, being in charge of my own stuff, being solo so to speak, as opposed to being part of a group or a unit.” Nyanners went on to clarify that she did not leave VShojo due to any relationship issues with other talent, nor was she influenced by Sivlervale and Veibae’s exits. “My decision was independent of theirs,” she explained. It looks like other major VTubers from VShojo are also looking to leave the group, with star Kson recently admitting that she’d jump ship to another organization if offered a better contract.

Nyanners joins Mythic Talent following VShojo exit – Dexerto
Nyanners joins Mythic Talent following VShojo exit Vtuber Nyanners has joined Mythic Talent two days after her exit from VShojo was announced. On May 1, VShojo revealed that Nyanners had not renewed her contract. This saw the Vtuber become an independent content creator alongside Silvervale and Veibae who also left VShojo on April 26. Nyanners would later clarify why she chose to leave VShojo stating that she wanted to be “in charge,” of her own content. Now the catgirl Vtuber has confirmed the next step on her journey signing with Mythic, a talent company that allows her to continue operating independently. Nyanners signs with Mythic Talent The official Mythic Talent Twitter account confirmed its latest addition to the team, with Vtuber Nyanners joining on May 3. The announcement tweet reads: “She stays up after bedtime to play Xbox, evades any and all taxes, and definitely isn’t cringe! Everyone welcome NyanNyanners to the Mythic fam!” Nyanners responded to the announcement thanking Mythic: “Thank you so much for having me!!!! Please don’t tell the IRS.” Mythic Talent was established in February 2023 and prides itself on being creator first. It was co-founded by OTKNetwork owners Asmongold and TipsOut to empower creators and give them the tools to fulfill their goals. Mythic Talent is a talent management company that assists content creators in several different ways. They source deals, assist in contract negotiations during sponsorships, and provide managers for their members. Unlike some Vtuber agencies like Hololive and Nijisanji, Mythic does not manage or control any of the content of its members or own the rights to its members’ models and other unique IPs. Although Mythic isn’t exclusive to Vtubers, several notable independent Vtubers are signed with them. Some examples include Shylily, Filian, and Saruei. There’s even another ex-VShojo member already on board as Veibae joined Mythic in March 2023.

Nyanners leaves VShojo days after Silvervale & Veibae’s shock exit – Dexerto
Nyanners leaves VShojo days after Silvervale & Veibae’s shock exit Twitch: NyannersNyanners is the latest Vtuber star to announce her leave from talent agency VShojo amid a string of other mega-popular VTubers like Silvervale and Veibae also parting ways with the company. VTuber Nyanners has announced her parting of ways with the talent company VShojo, revealing she will be going back to her roots as an independent content creator. The talent company has seen multiple creators making the decision not to renew their contracts of late, with Silvervale and Veibae also making an exit from the group just days prior. Naynners announces leave from VShojo, goes back to indie streaming In the latest announcement tweet, VShojo writes, “We’d like to inform you that Nyanners has decided not to renew her contract with VShojo. We fully support her decision and are grateful for her contributions to the growth of VShojo.” VShojo further revealed that just like Veibae and Silvervale, Nyanners will keep the IP of her character. Meaning she will be continuing to stream as the beloved Nyanners and not have to change. Nyanners then tweeted in her own announcement of the leave, “I’ve decided not to renew my contract with VShojo and return to being an indie. “This decision is my own and not a reflection of my relationship with any of the other members, and it is something I have been seriously deliberating for a while.” Nyanners finally revealed that her streams will still continue as normal in the immediate future. “While this change likely comes as a surprise, it won’t change who I am, any of my content, or who I choose to collaborate with moving forward. My streams will continue as usual!” Other fellow VTubers have wished Nyanners a goodbye from VShojo. Ironmouse, one of the biggest VShojo creator’s replied in saying, “Love love love my sister Nyan and I wish her nothing but the best on her new Journey!” As of now, this makes Nyanners the third VTuber who has decided to not re-sign their contract with VShojo in the past week, as many of the scene’s biggest stars are returning to indie streaming.

NY Post appears to label Valkyrae a “bikini streamer,” causing outrage among fans – Dexerto
NY Post appears to label Valkyrae a “bikini streamer,” causing outrage among fans Valkyrae/NY PostWith “bikini streams” and the “hot tub meta” in full swing on Twitch, fans of streamer YouTuber superstar Valkyrae were not pleased when they thought an article by the New York Post lumped her in with the trend. Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter is co-owner of 100 Thieves and one of the most-watched female streamers on Twitch; what she isn’t however, is a so-called “bikini streamer.” Hot tub streams, or just streams featuring a scantily-clad streamer interacting with their audience, have become more popular than ever lately. They’re even reaching mainstream news outlets like the NY Post, who came out with a story about the trend on May 8. The story quoted Valk’s defense of hot tub streamers, but the lead-in to her blurb is what caught the ire of online fans on Twitter once the story started being shared. Her quotes are introduced just after a line that reads “Bikini streamers were quick to defend the practice.” To be fair, the Post’s article does address Hofstetter as “the internet’s most-watched female streamer” and never directly refers to her as a bikini streamer. However, many in the gaming community interpreted the way this piece was written as the outlet essentially grouping her with those who do stream in that manner. They literally said “Bikini streamers were quick to defend the pratice” and went directly in to quotes by Rae. They 100% called her a bikini streamer, do to lazy, sloppy writing. — Just A Camera (@VegasVanguards) May 8, 2021 Others took it a step further than just muddled writing though, saying it was shocking to see what they called a “blatant lie” placed right in a mainstream publication about their favorite streamer. Its actually scary how often “reputable” news sources just blatantly lie in their pieces. — Kevi 🍀 (@KeviSkillz) May 8, 2021 imagine calling valkyrae a bikini streamer when 99% of the time shes in an oversized sweater and she doesnt even stream on twitch lol what a dogshit article. — acab (@Mr_Mojo_Risin__) May 8, 2021 Finally, there were even fans offering to “handle” the problem for Valkyrae (whatever that means). Based on this take and all the others, it’s clear she has plenty of supporters in her corner willing to back her up. The YouTube star has yet to comment on the situation and seeing as she hasn’t weighed in at all at the time of writing this article, it might be a while (if ever) before we hear her thoughts on how exactly the quotes were presented.

Nyanners, a pink cat girl, is taking over Twitch with a delirious fever dream of content – Dexerto
Nyanners, a pink cat girl, is taking over Twitch with a delirious fever dream of content Twitch: NyannersShe’s a “horrible abomination…disguised as a pink cat girl”. However, behind the persona of Nyanners is a soft-spoken Twitch star, a VTuber just looking to give her fans some fun memories. Oh, and world domination — that’s also on the cards. On January 18, Nyanners made one of her wildest fever dreams a reality. With a “breast pump” in tow, the pink cat girl ‘milked’ herself on stream. For more than three hours thousands on Twitch watched on — either in horror, disgust, or in stitches from the hilarity — as the VShojo star went into this frenzied rave full of absurd monologues and visuals that toed the line between reality and hallucinations. There was ‘milk’ the shade of the VTuber’s hair everywhere. As the night went on, it only got more delirious. What was happening on screen was paired with some rather dramatic piano that simultaneously matched the mood perfectly, and also didn’t. It went viral, to say the least. Clips from the stream were going wild on Reddit as those uninitiated to the streamer tried to make sense of it all. As for her more dedicated fans, they were urging her on in chat. For an outside observer, the clashing perspectives were like whiplash. While such a crazy affair might seem like a one-off, in reality, it was peak Nyanners — a perfect summation of the star streamer’s content that has transformed her into one of the platform’s biggest VTubers. “It took a lot of prep and it was very painful, but beauty is pain, comedy is pain, and everybody loves my milk,” she laughed, reminiscing on that moment. “My brain is completely unleashed sometimes. It goes off in a direction and I just let it go and it ends up somewhere and I’m like ‘that’s cool we’ll run with that.’ One day I was like you know what would be great? If I just build up to a stream where I milk myself and make it into this fever dream, late-night, horrifying experience for people where after they watch it I want them to go ‘did that even happen? What even was that?’” A pink cat girl brought to life Trying to dissect that brain is a job best left undone, but it’s hard to not be curious about Nyanners’ journey to this point. The VTuber reaches an audience in the tens of thousands every time she goes live on Twitch. She boasts more than 800,000 followers on the platform. Her YouTube fandom is even bigger with 1.4 million subscribers. It also serves as a wonderful time capsule into her history as a content creator. Unlike some VTubers who try to detach their previous work from their new extension of themselves, Nyanners embraces it. It’s full of wild voiceovers and sketches juxtaposed with beautifully sung covers. Over the last decade, she rose to internet stardom as “some kind of horrible abomination that came from the farthest reaches of space… disguised as a pink cat girl to take over the world through Twitch streaming.” Her words. That pink cat persona isn’t just a recent thing. It’s been her brand since the very beginning, even if she could only bring that image to animated life recently. “I was watching a lot of Kizuna AI when she first started out in 2016 and I didn’t know it was possible to rig something up like this and portray myself in this way,” she explained. “I had an avatar for a long time online that I made content with and I didn’t think, for a while, that it was very accessible for most people to get into the animation aspect of it. “It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I was able to get into that when I feel like, that’s when VTubing started to break out into the masses through Hololive. More people started learning how to rig up the avatar — or the vessels as I call them — and it became more widely used and more accessible to the general public and I broke into it and it’s been such a perfect union for me between the kind of content I make and how I portray myself.” Starting out independently in early 2020, she joined VShojo later that same year as a founding member of the English-speaking VTuber collective. Combined they have more than 4 million followers on Twitch. Nyanners’ new form has enabled her to connect with her audience in a more active way. Instead of just having cover songs on YouTube with a static drawing in the bottom corner, she can now go live on Twitch with karaoke synced up to an animated model tracking her every move. It has also given her the medium to run with crazy ideas — like milking herself — she’d never be able to tackle without it. Not just because it’s a logistical nightmare to use your real-life body for certain skits, but because the avatar gives her scope to be more authentic. “It allows me to express myself that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. I feel like I can do a lot more creative things with it and it lends itself to branching out in any direction you want and the anonymity of it is nice too. “Even though you’re portraying yourself with an avatar, you can be more of yourself than you’d be without that. A lot of people feel like they hold themselves back when they’re streaming with a face cam — a flesh tuber. Through a mask, it feels really freeing and you can be more of yourself because you don’t have to worry about judgment on who you are.” It’s more than just her physical VTuber form too. It’s about creating “a dream-like kind of place where these fantastical things come true” — think CGI in film. “I did a stream where I cloned myself and played a game with myself and had various different types of my avatar on my stream playing Among Us,” she described. “I don’t want to give too much of the trick away but I had it that we were all rigged up so we were all talking to each other and playing the game together. “There’s also this guy called Shindigs on Twitch who is really inventive with how he uses VTubing. This one he did on Valentine’s Day, he did this whole sequence where he was waiting at a restaurant for a date to show up and had a waiter come up and talk to him. It was really awkward and he was talking to his chat like ‘my date is going to show up for sure’ — random weird stuff like that, you can do it IRL but it’s easier to do it this way. It gives Adult Swim late-night cartoon vibes.” The limitlessness of the medium has ignited a deeper fire within Nyanners to keep pushing the boundaries with content. And if that means milking herself on stream, at least she can do it without having to worry about some real-life ramifications. The divide between VTubers and “regular” streamers With all that being said, there is still a big stigma around VTubers and their place in online content creation. Critics of the form point towards its ‘thirst trapping’ with anime girl avatars abound — especially those who play into the ‘underage but not’ trope. Then there are all the comments about how every VTuber is actually a man with a voice changer. Some also see it as a threat to more traditional face-cam streamers. Nyanners has heard them all and says dispelling these myths is something the VTuber community is actively contending with as it continues its meteoric rise. It’s not so much of a divide, but rather a need to educate the wider community about this new style of entertainment. “As far as communities go, there’s people who are still iffy about VTubers and don’t understand them and I get that. It’s a weird thing, I’ll admit. It’s weird what we do and I get that people don’t get it. Some people don’t understand VTubers, some people don’t understand streaming. “I see a lot of comments like ‘why are you watching this anime girl avatar, it could be a dude with a beard’ and even if it was, why does it matter? Does that matter? If it’s a dude with a beard, hell yeah. If you’re entertained, who cares who is behind the avatar? “If it’s not your thing, you don’t need to watch. If you prefer watching someone who is on camera, then go ahead and enjoy that. I love all kinds of streamers. I watch them all the time and I don’t have a preference.” There’s still some funny bits of criticism that never fail to tickle her funny bone. “A lot of people come into VTubers’ chats asking ‘are you an AI? Are you a computer program?’ If that were the case, I’d be so impressed,” she laughed. “If someone made some kind of completely computer-generated thing that responds to chat, that’d be incredible technology. But we’re just weird dudes online. I’m sorry if that’s boring but we’re just streamers doing our thing.” “I wish I was an AI, that’d be pretty cool. I wouldn’t have to think for myself.” Ultimately though, Nyanners and the rest of the VTuber community hold very similar goals to the rest of Twitch’s entertainers. They want people to enjoy themselves while watching along. If the person on the screen looks slightly different, so be it. “On stream, everyone has a persona. Even people who use a camera. We all put on some kind of act because we’re entertainers. A lot of it is jokes and goofing off, but we put ourselves into our work and we have our personal touch, and that’s what makes people relate to streamers and VTubers so much. “My main goal as someone who makes content online is to make people laugh, either at me or with me, I don’t care. I want to make people laugh and smile and take their minds off whatever is bothering them. Give them a place to chill and lose track of time because they’re having such a fun time and create a community that is full of positivity and lifting each other up. That’s what’s most important to me.” The other thing that’s really important to Nyanners is her VShojo “family”. When she was originally approached to join the VTuber group ahead of their 2020 launch, the pink cat girl was apprehensive. She didn’t want to be a liability, and she thought there were plenty of other content creators deserving of a spot before her. If it wasn’t for Projekt Melody pushing her outside of her comfort zone, her fever dream would have likely been cut short. “I started out in the pandemic and it was hard. I had friends in VTubing but I didn’t have a group to belong to. I was scared to reach out to anyone,” she admitted. “One day Melody reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to join this company. I was really worried at first, like do they really want me? What if I’m some kind of liability? I didn’t feel that confident about my content or myself, but they accepted me into their group and we all grew together and we got to watch each other make so many milestones.” From Ironmouse’s historic subathon, to all the talent’s recent redebuts (both Veibae and Zentreya have revealed new designs in the last few weeks), Nyanners has been there. There’s almost a hint of pride in her voice, like a proud mom of sorts. However, it’s not just being there for her ‘co-workers’ when they’re on stream or collabing. It’s the small personal moments behind the scenes that are cherished more. “The first collab I did with Ironmouse, Silvervale, and Projekt Melody before VShojo was a thing — I was so nervous to meet all of them because they were all these big huge content creators I looked up to and I couldn’t believe they invited me to play with them, especially Ironmouse because I had been watching her for a bit before she invited me.” Reminiscing on this, Nyanners got teary. “Getting to meet her was so amazing because we immediately clicked and it was like we were long-lost sisters. I remember at the end of the collab we both cried because we were like ‘I can’t believe I met her.’ It’s so cool to see how far we’ve both come since then.” https://twitter.com/VShojoOfficial/status/1471702630737096704 It also gave Nyanners the confidence to go out and chase bigger collabs, including the one she’s most proud of with Takanashi Kiara from Hololive. “I was so nervous but she was such a sweetheart,” she said. “It was a big change of pace for me because I’ve never collabed with someone that huge before, but she was so down to earth and welcoming. She roasted me the entire time and I loved it. Her beating me in all those Nintendo Clubhouse games and making a fool out of me was one of the best collabs I’ve ever done.” VTubing’s never-ending rise It’s important to note at this point that VTubing is still a very young medium for content creation. Animation has been around for decades now, but this at-home DIY style of it only really took hold in 2019 and 2020. Kizuna AI, who many consider the mother of the medium, debuted in 2016. When the VTuber boom of 2020 happened, many were convinced it would be a fad. Eventually, there’ll be an oversaturation of talents and they would all tear each other down. However, the space has only seen crazy growth. New talents are debuting every day, more people are discovering it, and thus the cycle continues. At this rate, Nyanners is convinced “the entire world will be taken over by VTubers” — which helps her quest for world domination. “When things started blowing up so much and everyone became a VTuber, I began to wonder if it was ever going to slow down. I don’t think it will. It’s gaining more and more momentum, especially with the [Ironmouse] subathon — that put VTubing on the map even more and made it more widely acceptable,” she said. “It’s something people see and they’re like ‘I’ll watch more VTubers’ or ‘I’ll even try and become a VTuber myself.’ I think it’s cool that more people are getting into it, either watching them or becoming them.” That ultimately brings us back to this wild fever dream of Nyanners’ that we all live in right now. There’s always some crazy stream the pink cat girl has planned just around the corner. There’s no future, in Nyanners’ eyes, that doesn’t involve some sort of content creation. The mere thought of ‘graduation’ — the VTuber term for retirement — is scary for the eldritch horror. In her voice, you can hear the giddish, almost innocent joy she has when she talks about what’s next. The technology for VTubing is only getting better, and just like a child with a new toy, Nyanners wants to play around with it. “Even just a couple of years ago, people didn’t know about Kizuna AI or anything like that, and I think most people’s exposure to a virtual idol was Hatsune Miku, and she’s technically not even one — she’s a synthesized voice program. VTubers are just becoming a normal kind of performer, like how puppets are,” she explained. “3D models and tracking are getting so detailed, the concerts with holograms, it’s just going to take off. I hope that I can be part of it in any way because it’s really exciting. “I’m really honored to have gotten as far as I have gotten. I’m so proud of all of my friends too for doing what they’ve done. I worked a little bit, but I’m just having a good time messing around and meeting fun people along the way.” As for what you can expect content-wise… be slightly terrified. “I need to express myself in some kind of way or I’ll go insane. My brain is so full of horrible ideas that I need to get out or they’ll just explode, like the milking stream. If I couldn’t do that, I don’t even know. I would have too much milk in me, I had to get it out.”

Nutritionist breaks internet with ‘game-changing’ McDonald’s hack TIKTOK: bechardgraveA nutritionist has gone viral on TikTok after revealing her McDonald’s breakfast hack, which viewers have dubbed a “game changer.” Content creator and fitness coach Bec Hargrave took to TikTok to share her new McDonald’s breakfast hack to create a delicious McHashBrown. In the video, she revealed that all you need for this recipe is two hash browns, a Bacon and Egg McMuffin, and pancake syrup. “Last night I had a dream that I went to McDonald’s and got a Bacon and Egg ‘McHashbrown’, so that’s what we are going to do,” Bec said in the clip. TikToker reveals McDonald’s breakfast hack She then removed the bacon and egg from the McMuffin and sandwiched them between the two hash browns, before drizzling syrup over the food. “So basically you get two hash browns, one for the base, a bacon and egg McMuffin without the English muffin and — here is where we get a little bit wild — hot cake syrup,” she explained. “Add your second hash brown, it is a little bit messy I will give it that. Ok let’s see if this lives up to my dreams.” After taking a few bites, the nutritionist said, “Holy sh*t. Is it healthy and would I recommend this being in your diet? Nurse fired due to coworkers watching her OnlyFans content at work – Dexerto
Nurse fired due to coworkers watching her OnlyFans content at work TIKTOK: playgirljaelynnnA TikToker revealed that she got fired from her nursing job due to coworkers watching her OnlyFans videos at work. Content creator and nurse Jaelyn revealed in a viral video with over 2.2 million views that she was let go of her job for being a “distraction” to her colleagues. The 22-year old explained that her main source of income is making OnlyFans content, and that for the last year and a half, she’s also worked as a nurse for a nursing home group. However, Jaelyn shared that she was recently called into the office of a woman she’s never met, who told her she knew about her OnlyFans content. The woman claimed that the nurses at their particular nursing home have been looking at her socials and OnlyFans while Jaelyn is with patients. The TikToker said the woman told her it has become an issue, which resulted in her being fired. “She said that she can’t have that happening every time that I work so she has to let me go,” she recalled, adding that the “main reason for letting me go is because they need a job more than I do.” The TikToker added that her coworkers would have to be paying for her OnlyFans in order to be watching her videos on the clock. “Like they paid for my site, so they all could see and look at the nurse’s station while they’re on the clock,” Jaelyn said. TikTok react to nurse being fired due to coworkers watching her OnlyFans content Many TikTok users urged Jaelyn to file a wrongful termination complaint. “File a complaint with the labor board in your state. That’s wrongful termination. You can get paid for that!” one user urged. “That is 110% a lawsuit … no questions asked,” another user wrote. “Unless it specifically says something in the code of conduct for that employer.” “Get a lawyer. You can 100% sue for wrongful termination! YOU WILL WIN! it’s illlegal to fire you for that!” someone else commented. “I work in HR – lawsuit baby!” a fourth person shared. In a follow-up video, Jaelyn said she met up with the woman who fired her to get a written explanation to send to a lawyer. Essentially, Jaelyn believes she was fired for being a distraction.

Nurse goes viral Ubering to work because it’s cheaper than parking – Dexerto
Nurse goes viral Ubering to work because it’s cheaper than parking TIKTOK: sarahkrugel1 / UNSPLASHA former nurse has gone viral on TikTok, after revealing that she used to Uber to work because it’s cheaper than paying for parking. TikToker and former nurse Sarah (sarahkrugel1) sparked a debate after revealing that she used to take an Uber to work, as it was more affordable than having to pay for parking for her own car. In a viral 10-second clip, the content creator shared the struggle she had with getting to the hospital where she worked as a nurse. Instead of driving her own vehicle, Sarah was forced to use the ride-hailing service because it’s somehow cheaper than the parking expenses. “Paying to park at work should be a crime,” she captioned her video, which showed her sitting in the back of an Uber car being driven to work. In some of her more recent posts, the TikToker revealed that she decided to leave the nursing profession for various reasons, including the parking. TikTok reacts to nurse taking an Uber to work Many TikTok users said they were in a similar situation, with some sharing the staggering daily parking rates they were expected to pay. “It’s $30 a day to pay for parking at my job,” one person commented. “I live 9 min from work there’s absolutely no reason to drive and pay I just Uber,” another wrote. “I worked answering phones at a hospital and parking was $15 you could park for $11 but it added an extra 30 minutes of commute because you had to walk,” a third shared. Others found it absurd that employees are required to pay for parking at their workplace, especially within the healthcare sector. “Employees should always get free parking!” one user said. “Charging healthcare workers for parking is insane, without a subsidy mine would be $250 a month,” another added. “The concept to park for work blows my mind,” someone else wrote. NuFo shocked after child hijacked her Twitch account and began streaming – Dexerto
NuFo shocked after child hijacked her Twitch account and began streaming Gen.G streamer Melissa ‘NuFo’ found herself watching her own Twitch channel broadcasting live, and on the screen was a random child who had somehow gotten access to her account. Behind the scenes of every Twitch channel is a streamer who is constantly making sure that their account is secure and has no possibility of being compromised. One big concern that most streamers have, especially partnered ones with large followings, is that someone somehow will gain access and put everything they had worked so hard to build in jeopardy. That’s the position that NuFo found herself in on December 27, when someone began broadcasting live from her channel and it wasn’t her. The first logical guess would have been that she had gotten hacked. Instead, however, it was a random young child who didn’t even know that he was streaming. Stunned, and probably stricken with stress, NuFo posted this clip of what was happening on Twitter, hoping to find some answers. How did the random child get access to NuFo’s Twitch account? As it would turn out, there was a semi-logical explanation for how this odd situation had come to be. In a separate tweet, NuFo revealed that she had streamed from that same location for an event and somehow her information had been saved on the computer. “I was streaming there for an event and I logged out but my stream key was still there without my knowledge,” she tweeted. “The people told me they would double-check and I assumed, since I’d logged out, that it was all gone.” Her stream key still being on the device is the important detail to take away, because that secret code is arguably the most important thing that a streamer has to keep safe to avoid someone else being able to stream from their account. i was streaming there for an event and i logged out but my stream key was still there without my knowledge, the people told me they would double check and i assumed since i’d logged out it was all gone. — NuFo (@NuFo) December 27, 2019 All of that got resolved soon after, and it’s a good thing that it did, because NuFo also revealed that the man standing next to the child, presumably his father, was “flipping off” the cam and “telling his friends in a league chat to go to my stream.” It seems that her account is now back to being secure, as just hours after this oddity occurred, she is back online streaming live.

“Suns in 4” guy declines Barstool’s offer to set up boxing match against Nuggets fan after viral brawl – Dexerto
“Suns in 4” guy declines Barstool’s offer to set up boxing match against Nuggets fan after viral brawl TwitterA Denver Nuggets fan still upset after losing a fight against a Phoenix Suns fan in a viral video is down for a rematch – and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is down to make it happen. Update – June 25 at 6:30 PM EST The ‘Suns in 4’ guy has declined the invitation to duke it out with the Nuggets fan in a rematch, claiming that he “already got a W.” However, he would be interested in entertaining the offer if Barstool’s Rough N Rowdy shows ever got involved in MMA. Nuggets fan MartyBandz has weighed in on the news. pic.twitter.com/UYHUxCC6X3 — The Unnamed Show (@barstoolunnamed) June 23, 2021 The news comes after the Nuggets fan told Barstool’s Dave Portnoy that he would be down for an organized fight rematch after their viral brawl a couple weeks ago. It’s unclear if Barstool has any plans to shift gears and pivot its event into an MMA one. Original story follows It’s not exactly rare to see fans of two rival sports teams duke it out in the stands, but Suns fan Nick McKellar went incredibly viral after his fight with a man known as “Marty” back on June 11. After appearing to take a punch and retaliating with a few blows of his own, McKellar cried out “Suns in four” as security showed up. The simple phrase became a viral sensation, with the Suns fan becoming a bit of a star in the following days… and Barstool Sports even made T-shirts commemorating the moment. While McKellar has been featured in news interviews and turned into a living meme, his opponent has been trying to tell his side of the story and even wants a second round with his rival. Most disrespectful moment here was “Suns in 4” https://t.co/piYbub2nQa — Barstool Sports (@barstoolsports) June 12, 2021 In an interview with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, Marty explained that, while he believes McKellar came out on top in the arena, he wants a rematch. “You know, I’d say he got the better of me, but that’s why we’re trying to set up a rematch for you know?” he said. “Let’s see if he really got the better of it. If he did, then he should be able to do it again.” Barstool Sports, which owns the ‘Rough N Rowdy’ fight company, is down to make this a reality. With McKellar open to fight again, Dave wanted to see if Marty was onboard. “Would you box this guy?” Portnoy asked the Nuggets fan, who was absolutely down to take the match. “We gotta set this up!” After a bit of back and forth and some questions about the whole fight incident, Portnoy doubled down on the idea, telling Marty that now that he has his contact info along with McKellar’s, a fight is certainly in the cards. “I think this is a great Rough N Rowdy. Settle it in the ring. Fair,” Dave grinned. Thus far, it’s not known when the two will actually have their rematch, but seeing as how all parties involved are interested, chances are we get some concrete information in the days and weeks ahead.

NRG Bucke kicks off after xQc calls him an “NPC” for siding with Andrew Tate – Dexerto
NRG Bucke kicks off after xQc calls him an “NPC” for siding with Andrew Tate Twitch: xQcFelix ‘xQc’ Lengyel kicked things off by taking shots at Bucke after watching the young Fortnite pro sit in on a streamed conversation with Andrew Tate and HasanAbi, but things quickly spilled out elsewhere on the internet. Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker and Andrew Tate’s debate was the talk of the town on July 21. The two clashed in a forty-minute long conversation that ultimately ended with the political Twitch star getting removed from the call, but that’s not the only bad blood that resulted from the stream. While watching the VOD later, xQc insinuated that Fortnite pro Bucke was an “NPC” who was only there to defend Tate and not give Piker a fair shot – and what resulted afterward has caused quite a stir in its own right. Fortnite pro Bucke tees off after xQc called him an NPC It wasn’t long after the initial stream that Bucke saw the clip from Lengyel’s broadcast and fired off an angry response. “You’re a b**ch. I know for a fact you’re not talking to me like that,” the 19-year-old pro player retorted. xQc stuck to his guns and deemed the call-out a “certified NPC response,” but otherwise left it alone. Bucke escalated the situation further though, claiming that the two of them could arbitrate their differences in a boxing match: “I think we should settle this in the ring.” This isn’t the first time that the older Twitch star has found himself being challenged to a fight in recent months, with Rubius also taking his chance with a call-out back in June at Ibai’s record-breaking La Velada del Ano II event. Nothing has come from that challenge yet, and it doesn’t seem like much will materialize from this one either, but that hasn’t stopped Bucke from continuing to take shots nearly 24 hours after their initial spat.

NRG streamer KingRichard under fire for using keyboard on console for Apex Legends – Dexerto
NRG streamer KingRichard under fire for using keyboard on console for Apex Legends NRG member and popular Twitch streamer Richard ‘KingRichard’ Nelson has come under a flurry of criticism, after he swapped out his PC for console on Apex Legends – but used a XIM device to continue using keyboard and mouse inputs. Apex Legends does not natively support the use of keyboard and mouse on console, owing to the fact that it cannot be played cross-platform (yet), and thus using it vs controller-wielding players presents a significant advantage. On July 15, KingRichard, who has been vocal about the number of hackers on the PC version of Apex Legends, decided to swap his PC for console, but used an adapter device called an ‘XIM’ (often pronounced ‘zim’) which allows him to use a keyboard and mouse. 500Using such a device tells the console, in this case the Xbox One, that the player is still using a controller, and emulates the inputs from the mouse and button presses on the keyboard. It is generally frowned upon to use such a device, as it gives the player with the extra precision of a mouse, and versatility of a keyboard, a massive advantage over their controller counterparts. KingRichard made no attempts to hide his use of the XIM, explaining to viewers that he would test it out in some regular public matches to ensure it was set up properly. Understandably, this concerned many console players, who feel it is akin to cheating to use a XIM device to enable the use of mouse and keyboard inputs. A post on the Apex Legends sub reddit on July 16, calling out KingRichard (although not by name) and asking developers Respawn ‘not to support’ it, attracted almost 20,000 upvotes, before moderators locked it down. The original poster of the thread deliberately omitted KingRichard’s name to avoid breaching Reddit’s witchhunting rule, but as other users began naming him, the moderators were forced to close the thread. Players were still adamant that Respawn Entertainment should stand against the use of XIM devices in Apex Legends, some suggesting it breaches the games EULA agreement by tampering. Some Xbox games do in fact support keyboard and mouse input natively, such as Fortnite and Sea of Thieves, however these titles also support cross-play – meaning PC and console players can be mixed together regardless. Using a XIM however essentially tricks the console into thinking a controller is being used, giving the user an obvious advantage, thanks mainly to the increased precision of a mouse vs a controller stick.

NPC streamer breaks character to chase down rude stranger – Dexerto
NPC streamer breaks character to chase down rude stranger TikTok: leaks._.worldAn NPC streamer pretending to be Miles Morales halted his pretence when a stranger who was walking passed insulted him. The TikTok streamer, named leaks._.world, chased after the passerby on stream, confronting them about why they were being rude. After chasing the stranger off, the streamer then resumed his regular content, saying that he just wanted to “do his nerd sh*t in peace.” Miles Morales NPC streamer breaks character to confront passerby On the clip, which went viral on Twitter, the streamer can be acting like a normal NPC streamer would: reacting to the donations he receives from viewers. However, someone walking past the streamer can be heard shouting: “Don’t stoop that low” at him. At this point, the streamer immediately dropped character and chased after the person who insulted him, saying: “What’d you say? You said don’t stoop that low? Hey come here, come here, let me knock your teeth out! B*tch ass boy. Come here, let me do my nerd sh*t in peace!” When the person had backed down, the streamer returned to his original spot, and asked his viewers to make the clip go viral so people could see how he was being harrassed. They think I’m weak or some sh*t. Make this sh*t go viral, that sh*t is annoying. God damn. I’m just trying to be a nerd in f*cking peace. NPC TikToker breaks character after conquering hotdog gifts: “Glizzy Overdrive” – Dexerto
NPC TikToker breaks character after conquering hotdog gifts: “Glizzy Overdrive” TikTok: jason.rebornAn NPC TikTok streamer couldn’t hold it together after going into “Glizzy Overdrive”, ducking out of the camera’s view to break character. NPC streams have taken over TikTok ever since ‘PinkyDoll’ forwarded the trend with the help of her catchphrase, “Ice cream so good”. The TikTok star and OnlyFans creator later revealed she made up to $7,000 a day through NPC streams, inspiring many to follow suit. Now hundreds of creators are cashing in, streaming as Non-Player-Characters that don’t react unless viewers send them gifts, resulting in them regurgitating scripted lines. Well, at least that’s the idea. Jason, who goes by ‘jason.reborn’ on TikTok, calls himself “the ORIGINAL glizzBot” for his unique take on NPC streams. But Jason was unable to keep it together after going into “Glizzy Overdrive”. Now, for anyone confused as to what exactly “Glizzy Overdrive” means, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered (In fact, we’ve already had an in-depth discussion explaining the nuances to some of our writers today). Glizzy originally was slang for a Glock handgun but evolved over the years to refer to a hot dog due to the extended magazine of a pistol coming to about the same length. In this instance, it’s referring to a hot dog sticker that viewers can gift streamers. One thing worth noting, however, is that a glizzy is a hotdog with a sexual innuendo referring to male genitalia. Jason leaned into the innuendo, taking things to another level by creating “Glizzy Overdrive”, an NPC reaction triggered by a certain amount of gifted hotdogs. Devouring the invisible weiners, Jason’s “Glizzy Overdrive” looks awfully similar to someone performing oral sex — and his viewers are all for it. But in one of his latest streams, Jason struggled to control his emotions, ducking off-screen as the hilarity of his actions became too much. “Entering gluck gluck mode,” Jason announced but quickly burst into laughter. A second attempt ended just the same, with only his body seen heaving as he cackled off to the side. Viewers were amused by the break in character and theorized as to what was the final straw. It seems a new “move” Jason incorporated may have resulted in him being unable to keep a straight face; “It was the ball fondling.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Novaruu “disgusted” by fellow Twitch streamer’s “arrogant” outburst about revealing clothing – Dexerto
Novaruu “disgusted” by fellow Twitch streamer’s “arrogant” outburst about revealing clothing Twitter: Novaruu / Instagram: InvaderVieTwitch streamer Novaruu labelled fellow broadcaster Invader Vie as “manipulative” and “arrogant” after playing a clip of the popular streamer lashing out at viewers who criticized how she dressed. Both Novaruu and Invader Vie are popular figures on the broadcasting platform, with Vie celebrating hitting 1 million views on Twitch on April 29, less than six months since she first started streaming. While Vie has seen great success on the platform, she has also faced criticism from viewers who blast the way she dresses, saying that her attire is too revealing and that’s how she has received such rapid growth in a short space of time. Novaruu calls Invader Vie’s response “arrogant” In a segment cut and edited by a viewer, which was taken from her April 29 broadcast, Novaruu decided to play a clip taken directly from one of Invader Vie’s stream, where she hit back at people in her chat who were criticizing her. In the clip, Vie can be heard saying: “Any time someone comes in and says you’re a slut or a whore – I hear this shit every day. Do you not think that I realize what I put on my body before I get on and stream? Do you think I’m just some naive baby in the woods? Do you think I got to fifty thousand fucking followers by accident?” After asking her audience what they thought, Novaruu gave her own take, stating: “Any time she wears shorts or anything revealing, her chat shits on her to the point where she snaps, which is understandable. I’m just curious as to what your thoughts are in that clip, because honestly, I was a little disgusted.” “I like Vie, I’m just saying this. I thought saying that was manipulative and a little arrogant, and it left me a little disgusted and unhappy that she said that.” Neither Novaruu or Invader Vie have made any further comments on the clip, although Novaruu reiterated that she didn’t want to start drama, and she does like Vie, stating that she understands why she often responds angrily to those criticizing her. We’ll be sure to update this post as any new information or reactions become available.

Notorious Twitch streamer known for viewbotting finally banned – Dexerto
Notorious Twitch streamer known for viewbotting finally banned UnsplashA Twitch channel, accused of using fake viewers to enhance his numbers, has finally been banned from the platform more than two months after its inception. Be it a viewbot or an in-game aimbot, there are plenty of shady lengths that users will go to in a bid to have their channel boosted up above the rest. Not even extremely popular streamers like Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek and Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney can hold off the bots. However, it appears as if Twitch is beginning to crack down on the number of rogue users who attempt to gain some sort of success through these nefarious methods. GunsAndGlitch banned The GunsAndGlitch channel was started up back at the end of February, streaming the then-new release Apex Legends to an increasing number of viewers each day. After just over a week, the channel had just shy of 10,000 viewers per broadcast and amassed over 3,000 followers. However, as of April 29, the channel – which was even given a rebrand to Ooshky – has since been banned by Twitch and is no longer active on the livestreaming platform. Concerns raised about GunsAndGlitch Users of both the Apex Legends and Livestream Fails subreddits had initially raised concerns about the channel at the beginning of March, pointing out how the numbers didn’t add up because there was a lack of messages in chat. When pulled up on the numbers, GunsAndGlitch accused someone else of trolling and viewbotting his channel in a bid to get him banned from Twitch and stated that he was working with the livestreaming platform to rectify the issues. GunsAndGlitch responds to claims A handful of members of the LivestreamFails subreddit uncovered an apparent link between GunsAndGlitch and a username – SnowmandRules – on multiple bot service websites that had jumped to his defense after being accused of viewbotting. After calls for his channel to be banned continued, the streamer took to Twitter and responded to multiple tweets with a ‘Witch Hunt’ gif and the same line of: “We currently have open tickets with Twitch, but unsubstantiated claims are more fun!” We actually have open tickets with Twitch right now. But unsubstantiated claims are way more fun! pic.twitter.com/XmJmIifD4s — GunsandGlitch (@GunsandGlitch) April 17, 2019 However, considering Twitch only bans users who have been accused of ‘viewbotting’ when they have proof, the claims are probably a little less unsubstantiated than GunsAndGlitch repeatedly claimed. The streamer has not yet responded to the action taken against his channel on either his Twitter profile or Reddit account.

Novaruu banned on Twitch after breaking little-known rule – Dexerto
Novaruu banned on Twitch after breaking little-known rule Popular Just Chatting streamer ‘Novaruu’ has been taken off Twitch for three days, following a suspension under a little-known promotional giveaway rule. Novaruu is a rising star of Twitch’s ever-popular Just Chatting category, but she will be unable to stream after the platform suspended her for three days. Her suspension has raised some people’s eyebrows though, after she was taken off the platform for a rule that few users are aware of. Why was Novaruu banned on Twitch? Twitch suspended Novaruu on December 10, citing that she was “operating a contest or giveaway that violates Twitch Terms of Service.” She was banned for three days for the infringement. Novaruu has made a statement about her ban, disgruntled over the fact that her stream was taken down for such a period of time. “Why did I just get a three-day ban for raffling off hand-painted bird houses,” she said, posing the question to Twitch. “How does raffling off a birdhouse and nudity have the same [ban length].” https://twitter.com/novaruu_/status/1204607879334027265 Novaruu has speculated that she was banned under the Twitch ruling regarding unsolicited offers. Under section 9(iii) of the platform’s Terms of Service, streamers are not allowed to “make unsolicited offers, advertisements, proposals…to users of the Twitch services, including…things related to promotional giveaways.” Streamers must also abide by the United States law when doing giveaways like this. Alabama, Hawaii, and Utah have banned raffles in their states. Novaruu currently resides in Texas, but is still subject to regulations under Federal law. The Federal Trade Commission stipulates that “sweepstakes-type promotions that require a purchase by participants are illegal in the United States.” https://twitter.com/novaruu_/status/1204613328036859904 Who is Novaruu? Novaruu streams on Twitch in the Just Chatting category to around 1,000 viewers every day. She is a Twitch partner with almost 100,000 followers on the platform, and 44,000 followers on Twitter. She recently hosted a donation drive for the World Wildlife Fund, raising $3,385.69 for the conservation charity. Novaruu will return to Twitch after her three-day suspension is completed on December 13, or earlier if she appeals and is successful.

Notorious Asmongold griefer banned on Twitch – Dexerto
Notorious Asmongold griefer banned on Twitch A World of Warcraft Classic streamer has been banned on Twitch after making a name for himself for continuously trolling Asmongold. WoW Classic became an instant hit when it released in August 2019, with millions of players enjoying the game as it dominated Twitch during the first few months of its release. Popular World of Warcraft streamers like Asmongold became some of the biggest broadcasters on the platform and as with any game became a target of stream snipers. However, one other broadcaster may have taken things a little too far as he centered all of his content around the streamer. Streamer and YouTuber ‘AdvertiseSP’ became infamous in the WoW Classic community due to his constant griefing of Asmongold. The streamer allegedly targeted the American in most of his streams and has dedicated his YouTube channel to videos of him and his group killing the American in-game. Asmongold was understandably frustrated with Advertise and occasionally complained about him during his broadcasts. On November 27, the streamer was banned on Twitch, with some fans theorizing that Asmongold’s complaints pressured the company to act. Other users, however, argued that AdvertiseSP was breaking the platform’s terms of service by griefing Classic WoW’s most popular streamer, and that is the reason behind his ban. Twitch generally does not release statements regarding bans and punishments, so it’s unlikely that a reason will ever be revealed. Although, Asmongold may now breathe a sigh of relief as the troll is banned on Twitch. Meanwhile, WoW Classic has been slowing down in popularity, however, it may see a resurgence with the release of a fan-favorite feature, player vs player battlegrounds. These battlegrounds are coming on December 10, allowing players to fight it out in capture the flag and king of the hill modes, as well as a massive 40 vs 40 base defense mode.

‘Not real plane woman’ still confused by “embarrassing” experience a full year later – Dexerto
‘Not real plane woman’ still confused by “embarrassing” experience a full year later TikTokTiffany Gomas, the infamous ‘not real plane woman,’ says she’s still confused by the “embarrassing” experience on her one-year anniversary of going viral on TikTok. In 2023, Tiffany Gomas blew up the internet after she went on a viral rant in the cabin of an airplane, accusing a passenger on her American Airlines flight of being “not real.” Since then, she’s become a full-fledged influencer, appearing on podcasts and traveling the world… but the events of June 3, 2023 are still haunting her. On the one-year anniversary of her viral meltdown, Gomas jokingly celebrated the occasion, dubbing it the “most embarrassing day of my life” in a post on X. In the comments, Know Your Meme posted the full interaction from a year ago, and Gomas explained how she can’t watch the moment anymore. “Gawd, I can’t listen to that,” she said. “I don’t even know how my voice got that high.” In interviews she’s done following her viral moment, Gomas sounds completely different than how she did onboard the plane, so it makes sense that she’d be confused by how she sounded in the clip. The ‘not real plane woman’ went on to respond to several fans, revealing that she actually didn’t see “a damn thing” and that in the heat of the moment, she “went batsh*t.” According to Gomas, she’s still banned from American Airlines since the incident, but that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to travel the world and even piloting planes herself. One fan even inquired if Gomas would consider taking the newest viral sensation Hailey Welch “under her wing” after she blew up the internet for her impromptu “hawk tuah” catchphrase. However, Gomas brushed off the suggestion. “She seems to be doing ok?!” she remarked. Although the two viral stars may not be collabing just yet, the two are certainly handling their fame accordingly, with Welch following in Gomas’ footsteps by making podcast appearances and capitalizing on the attention.

“Not real” plane woman Tiffany Gomas reveals she’s banned from American Airlines – Dexerto
“Not real” plane woman Tiffany Gomas reveals she’s banned from American Airlines YouTube/PrimeTimeAlexStein/TikTokViral “not real” plane woman Tiffany Gomas has confirmed that she’s been banned from flying on American Airlines after her wild flight meltdown. Tiffany Gomas became an online sensation earlier this year when she absolutely lost it on a July American Airlines flight and screamed about someone onboard being “not real.” For months speculation grew about what exactly she saw with Gomas herself becoming an influencer herself. During an appearance on Barstool Sports she admitted yelling “that motherf**ker is not real” was meant as a figure of speech, but was taken literally. Unfortunately for the viral Gomas, her outburst ended up costing her the ability to fly on American Airlines again as she revealed on The Blaze’s Prime Time with Alex Stein. Tiffany Gomas says “not real” plane outburst got her banned from American Airlines Speaking with Stein, Gomas explained that she no longer flies on American Airlines because she’s simply not allowed to. While Stein assumed she was just “pissed” at the airline and refuses to fly with them again, Gomas revealed that the situation is a lot worse than that. “I’m not pissed, I’m banned from American Airlines! It’s very inconvenient” she exclaimed, surprising Stein who compared the situation to bizarre events that happen on other flights. “If you had done that on Spirit Airlines it would have just been a Tuesday, nobody would even have known! I was on a Spirit Airlines flight and I saw a guy literally injecting fentanyl,” he remarked. On social media, Gomas reposted the clip from the show and responded to viewers applauding her for turning a negative experience into a positive one. “It’s been a sh*tty ride, but deserving… but in spite of that, I’m still standing,” she said. Gomas’ viral flight fiasco isn’t the only American Airlines brouhaha to make headlines recently. Earlier this summer, a flight attendant was chased home from the airport by an angry customer.

“Not real” plane woman goes viral again by flying aircraft one year after meltdown – Dexerto
“Not real” plane woman goes viral again by flying aircraft one year after meltdown X.com: Tiffany_GomasTiffany Gomas, the passenger behind the viral “not real” plane rant, is taking social media by storm once again for seemingly flying an aircraft. In July 2023, a passenger on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Chicago went viral after exploding in a rant about a fellow passenger who she claimed was “not real.” Her tirade became the talk of the town for weeks, rendering her a veritable internet star. Now, nearly a year later, the flier — Tiffany Gomas — is making the rounds yet again. On June 17, 2024, Gomas posted a video on Twitter/X showing herself in the co-pilot’s seat of an aircraft, seemingly flying the airborne vessel. “Went from freaking out on a plane to flying one,” she wrote alongside a series of crying-laughing emojis. “We’re climbing!” The craft’s pilot can be heard saying off-camera from the seat next to her. “Do you want me to give it back to you?” Gomas asked — but the pilot declined, apparently letting her take control. Gomas’s video has racked up over 670,000 views at the time of writing, sparking both panic and humor from viewers. She clarified some details in a response to her post, saying she was in a “non-critical phase of flight” above 10,000 feet. “The only people on the flight were my family,” she said, adding that she was headed back to America from a trip in Jamaica. “You’ve come a long way,” one viewer wrote. “You’ll never know how much joy I got out of the freak-out video and all the memes that followed. In all seriousness, I’m glad you could own it. Laugh about it and move on.” “Good job!” another said. “As an airline captain, I can say conclusively: That plane is real.” Overall, it seems that Gomas is taking the jokes in stride despite the many memes that were made mocking her. Even SNL parodied the viral incident in a skit — something she laughed at in a response online. Gomas has maintained that “One moment doesn’t define you; but it can define your purpose,” determined to make lemonade out of lemons after the “very worst moment” of her life became the internet’s biggest fixation.

Not a Content House apologizes after sweepstakes results spark backlash – Dexerto
Not a Content House apologizes after sweepstakes results spark backlash YouTube: Not a Content HousePopular TikTok content group ‘Not a Content House’ has issued an apology after the group delayed in revealing winners of their sweepstakes, stirring up backlash among fans. TikTok, much like YouTube before it, has fully embraced the ‘content house’ lifestyle. Boasting such groups as the ‘Hype House,’ the ‘Sway House’ and even the ‘Club House,’ it seems that these collectives are taking over the app — but one of them has caught a case of controversy just ahead of the Holiday season. The ironically named ‘Not a Content House’ is currently facing speculation from its fans and critics alike after holding a sweepstakes for two lucky winners to come visit the group’s all-female crew in their LA home. However, the House had promised to reveal the winners of the sweepstakes on December 23 — something that hopeful contestants were quick to notice when the 24th dawned and no news was released. View this post on Instagram An Instagram tea page broke the news from one such hopeful, which, unsurprisingly, sparked confusion and outrage among fans. That’s not all; it seemed that the House had even deleted their post initially announcing the sweepstakes, further enraging fans who had reportedly paid for their chance to win. View this post on Instagram Not a Content House member Ava Tortorici quickly uploaded a video in response to the backlash, announcing the winners of the contest and apologizing for their tardiness in revealing the sweepstakes results. “We are really sorry about the delay,” Tortorici said of the situation. “I know that you guys have been waiting to see if you won or not.” She also acknowledged the current health crisis and claimed that they would try to make the trip as safe as possible for the two travelers — but the announcement isn’t putting critics at ease, who are urging the House to delay the trip until things have become safer. View this post on Instagram Still others are criticizing the sweepstakes winners, who many commenters are claiming only won their spot because of their looks. Not a Content House was formed in August of this year and features a slew of high-profile female TikTokers in its ranks, although some eagle-eyed detectives have noticed that the House’s Instagram page has apparently unfollowed its newest member, Pami, in wake of all the sweepstakes drama. Not a Content House has yet to speak further on the situation at the time of writing.

Not a Content House rebrands after managers “removed” for misconduct allegations – Dexerto
Not a Content House rebrands after managers “removed” for misconduct allegations YouTube: Just a HouseFive members of the content house formerly known as Not a Content House have announced they are rebranding to ‘Just a House,’ after two managers were “removed” following allegations of misconduct against them. Not a Content House launched in August of 2020, but, after only six months, the house is set for a drastic change. When several members of the creator collective began to leave, it became apparent that many of the girls who were part of the group were not happy with the way they were being treated, having been put into uncomfortable situations by two managers in particular. The girls claimed they were “forced” to do ‘house deliverables’ — promotional activities where the profits would go to the house, and not the individuals creators. “If we didn’t do these house deliverables, our phones would be blown up, we would get things taken away, we would get threats, we’d get threatened to be kicked out,” they said in an explanation video. This was among other stories of offensive or inappropriate behavior, though the creators clarified, “the entire company has been very good, and it was two people who did all this to us, who had a lot of power over us.” Read More: Was Bryce Hall caught cheating on Addison Rae? – For a short while, it looked as though the house would be closing down for good, but a February 13 video has shown that some of the girls are returning with a rebrand. The new name is Just a House, and at least for the time being the lineup consists of Devyn Winkler, Cynthia Parker (who was in Canada at the time of recording the video), Sab Quesada, Anna Shumate, and Eva Cudmore. https://youtu.be/YUg8CHz7JQQ They revealed that the two managers who they had issues with, who they name as Chase and Amir, “don’t work for [them] anymore,” and wrote in the description of the video, “some management members have been removed, and people’s roles changed.” The stars reiterated that “there’s nothing wrong with the whole company, it’s a ginormous company, it was just the people that were managing the content houses,” and revealed that they would be moving to a new place in addition to rebranding. The news these creators are sticking together will come as a relief to fans who have supported the group since the start, with many excited to see how Just a House will continue to develop.

North West turns sister Chicago into her for TikTok makeover trend TikTok: kimandnorthKim Kardashian’s daughters have taken part in the latest makeover trend to take over TikTok, with North dressing Chicago just like her. Nine-year-old North West has become a huge star in her own right on TikTok over the past year. She shares an account with her mom, Kim Kardashian, called ‘kimandnorth’. It boasts over 12 million followers. The young star is constantly uploading TikToks about the latest trends on the app, often featuring members of her family. One of the trends that’s been taking over the app sees users turning their family members into them. They show a before clip of what that person usually wears, and then an after video of them dressed in a whole new look, with many of these videos going on to garner millions of likes and views. North decided that she would try the trend on her younger sister, 4-year-old Chicago West, and fans loved it. In the initial part of the video, Chicago is wearing a Batman dress, but after she disappears and reemerges from behind a wall, she’s dressed in one of North’s outfits, featuring a graphic tee, shorts, black sunglasses, and other accessories. “Turning my sister to me,” North captioned the video. The video went on to get over 600,000 likes and 3.5 million views. Northernlion shows off his best Halo Infinite Stockpile trick, ends in disaster – Dexerto
Northernlion shows off his best Halo Infinite Stockpile trick, ends in disaster Northernlion/343 IndustriesTwitch streamer and YouTuber Ryan ‘Northernlion’ Letourneau was streaming Halo Infinite when he attempted a trick shot with a grenade in a Stockpile match that, quite literally, blew up in his face. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta was surprise-released on November 15 as a commemoration of Xbox’s 20 year anniversary. With the launch of the multiplayer, droves of players have hopped into online lobbies, excited to play as titular protagonist Master Chief once again. Twitch streamer Northernlion joined in on the FPS fun, and while he was thrilled to pick up the game, he may have gotten ahead of himself in attempting a move that ended as a hilarious fail. Northernlion’s Halo Infinite trick shot fail Northernlion was streaming Halo Infinite on November 23, playing the Stockpile game mode. Stockpile requires players to pick up power seeds and bring them back to your base to score. While players hold the power seeds, they cannot hold a weapon, leaving them vulnerable to opponents who spot them. The Twitch streamer noticed some players attempting to score power seeds in his match and said: “Don’t I’m going to steal probably all of their power seeds is my guess. Watch this.” As he hid behind a rock to avoid fire, he chucked a grenade in an attempt to bounce it off the wall and at his opponents. His claim of “Watch this” ended up being his last words, as the grenade bounced right back at him which blew him up and launched his character sky-high. The chat exploded in laughter to which he nodded and replied to his viewers: “Thank you, thank you.” Although his attempted trick shot may have landed him on a respawn screen, it at least made for one entertaining moment. Things didn’t quite go to plan.

North West “spills the tea” about her dyslexia on TikTok live with mom Kim Kardashian – Dexerto
North West “spills the tea” about her dyslexia on TikTok live with mom Kim Kardashian TikTok: kimandnorthNorth West was “spilling the tea” about her dyslexia while on TikTok live with her mom Kim Kardashian. North West, daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, often takes to TikTok to partake in dance trends with her mom, as the two share a joint account. Though she was briefly off TikTok this April to focus on her creativity, North made her way back to the platform for her following of 16.7M. Most recently, North and her mom Kardashian were on TikTok live. However, Kardashian had to shut the stream down before North spilled all the tea. Kim Kardashian says she “purposely” doesn’t talk about North’s dyslexia North and her mom were recently streaming on TikTok live when North began revealing that she has dyslexia. While she was looking at her phone, North asked her mom how to spell a word and then said, “Guys, I have dyslexia. Do you even know what that is?” Kardashian then took North’s phone and seemingly typed out what she needed to be typed. Kardashian then responded to North’s comment about her learning ability, saying, “You are sure spilling the tea on here.” North didn’t stop there, as she then asked viewers, “Should I drop an album?” To which her mom responded, “North I’m going to get off this live right now because you just are really saying way too much.” Kardashian then expressed that she “purposely” doesn’t talk about things that North is “going through.” Though North and Kardashian are fairly open with their lives on TikTok, Kardashian does have rules in place for their usage of the social media platform. To be able to use the TikTok that they launched in 2021, North has to abide by a couple of orders — the comments have to be turned off on their videos and North is also not allowed to scroll.

Kim Kardashian and her nine-year-old daughter, North West, have a huge audience on TikTok thanks to their shared account ‘kimandnorth.’ The mother-daughter duo is constantly participating in the latest trends to take over the app, and they regularly garner millions of likes and views. In a video posted on January 5, North appeared to dress up as her father, Kanye West, in a viral clip that has caused a stir on social media. North West pulls hilarious prank on sister Chicago using viral TikTok filter – Dexerto
North West pulls hilarious prank on sister Chicago using viral TikTok filter TIKTOK: kimandnorthKim Kardashian’s daughter North West went viral on TikTok, after sharing a prank she pulled on her sister Chicago using a bizarre filter. In a 60-second clip posted to North and Kim’s joint account, the social media star decided to trick 4-year-old Chicago using a hilarious face-altering filter. “Okay Chi, I’m gonna cover your face and you’re just gonna go like this okay?” North told her sister, as she instructed her to dance. When Chicago appeared into the shot, North covered the little one’s eyes using her hands and quickly moved them around on her face. As soon as she pulled her hands away, Chicago’s left eye appeared lower on her face due to the filter. “Chi, what’s wrong with your face?!” North asked her sister, as the youngster looked confused. “You did that!” the 4-year-old replied, as she inspected her new face using the mobile phone. Continuing the prank, North then said: “Oh my God Chi, go look in the mirror!” Chicago was confused because her face looked completely fine in the mirror, but her elder sister insisted that the mirror was “broken.” “Look at you, look at you! The mirror’s broken, Chi!” she said, before telling her to give it a rub to “try and fix it.” She then lied: “Oh my gosh Chi, you’re gonna be stuck like that!” As Chicago fell for the prank and rubbed her face, the filter was removed, and she then said: “Okay, it’s back together!” The TikTok went viral with 3.7 million views, and while comments are disabled, it’s clear that fans loved the stunt as it’s garnered half a million likes. This wouldn’t be the first time that the 9-year-old has pulled a prank on a family member. Last month, North pranked her mom Kim using TikTok’s ‘fake eyebrows’ filter.

In a 5-second clip, which has racked up 14.7 million views, Kim was seen sitting on a bed alongside North, as she tinkered with her eldest child’s hair. The ‘Kardashians’ star donned a red and white Christmas-themed onesie, while North wore a casual white-t-shirt, as both seemed relaxed while filming the video. However, as Kim started brushing the 9-year-old’s edges, North suddenly snatched the comb off her hand, pulled away and started telling her off. Although her voice couldn’t be heard, the song ‘Don’t Play With It’ played over the clip, and it looked like North was lip-syncing to it. Kim reacted by pausing, putting her hands up and then smiling at her daughter’s precocity. North West pranks Kim Kardashian with viral fake eyebrows TikTok filter – Dexerto
North West pranks Kim Kardashian with viral fake eyebrows TikTok filter TikTok: kimandnorthNorth West has hilariously pranked her mom, Kim Kardashian, using the fake eyebrows TikTok filter to pretend she’d shaved them while Kim was sleeping. Kim Kardashian and North West’s TikTok account is one that is hugely popular among fans, with the mother-daughter duo participating in a number of different trends and challenges on the app, garnering millions of likes and views as a result. One trend that has been popular on the app, involves people using the fake eyebrows filter to prank their friends and family into thinking they’ve made their eyebrows look much too thin. Users will pretend to use a razor or similar object on the other person’s face to make it feel like they’re actually shaving them, but no actual hair is shaved off in the process. On December 18, North decided that she was going to do this very same viral prank on her mom. In the video, she can be seen holding a pink razor, before going up to Kim while she is asleep. She pretends to use the razor on her mom’s eyebrows, before shaking her mom awake. She shows the phone to Kim, where the filter has made it appear as though North actually shaved her eyebrows. “North, this is not funny,” she scolded in return. North wrote in the caption of the video, “so funny, the fake eyebrows filter.” Kim and North have comments turned off on their account, but the video quickly made its way across people’s For You Page, and in less than a day it has already racked up over 1.8 million likes and 12 million views. North West deletes Ice Spice cosplay videos on TikTok after outrage – Dexerto
North West deletes Ice Spice cosplay videos on TikTok after outrage TikTok: Kim and NorthClips of North West cosplaying as rapper Ice Spice have been deleted from the Kim and North TikTok account following social media backlash. Kim Kardashian invited Ice Spice to her home a few days ago. It didn’t take long for videos of the rapper dancing with North West and others to go viral online. North seemed to have a good time – so much so that she recently dressed up as Ice Spice for a few more TikTok videos. Such content quickly garnered backlash across social media. And it was apparently enough of a problem for Kim K to feel the need to react accordingly. Videos of North West dressed as Ice Spice removed from TikTok As noted by TikToker NoahGlennCarter, all of the videos where North cosplays as the “Munch” rapper have been removed from the official Kim and North account. Folks on Twitter and TikTok threw in their two cents when the clips went live, with some arguing that “North has gone too far.” Others seem convinced that Kanye West may have played a part in the removal of such content. As of now, though, that much is little more than conjecture on the part of onlookers. Unsurprisingly, this particular bit of Kardashian drama is reigniting discourse about Kanye’s past request for North to stay off of TikTok. “Don’t have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok, or don’t have her on TikTok at all, if I’m not there to approve that,” Kanye said last year amid his and Kim’s divorce proceedings. But, as stated above, it is not yet clear if Ye had any influence on the decision to delete North West’s Ice Spice-inspired clips.

North West mocks Kim Kardashian’s iconic TV meltdowns in viral TikTok TIKTOK: kimandnorth/INSTAGRAM: kimkardashianNorth West went viral on TikTok after she hilariously poked fun at Kim Kardashian’s most iconic TV meltdowns. The 9-year-old dressed up as Kim for the video, as she quoted some of her mom’s most memorable lines from ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’ In the clip, which has amassed over 5.6 million views, North sported a blonde wig, black Balenciaga sunglasses, and a black T-shirt covered in caution tape. The look referenced Kim’s 2022 Balenciaga Paris Fashion Week outfit. While prancing around her mom’s closet, and holding up one of Kim’s SKIMS bodysuits to the camera, North recited famous quotes from the reality TV series. Some of the quotes included were when the ‘Kardashians’ star freaked out after losing her diamond earring while swimming, and when she hit her sister Khloé with her purse for being “rude.” North also mocked some of Kim’s iconic crying scenes, such as when the reality star said she hated her sisters and vowed to never look at their “ugly” faces ever again. The hilarious video was shared on North and Kim’s joint TikTok account, and was set to Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song ‘Savage.’ The duo have amassed nearly 9 million followers, and 133.5 million likes on their account, as they’ve had several viral moments on the social media app. Just a day earlier, the 9-year-old posted a video of herself and her mom lip-synching to another of Kim’s most famous one-liners. Playing the role of Wendy Williams, Kim helped North reenact an infamous 2009 interview when, after being asked if she had any tattoos, she replied: “Honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?” North also parodied her grandmother Kris Jenner for her 67th birthday, when she was joined by Kim in dressing up as different versions of the ‘momager.’

NoPixel owner Koil gives statement following RatedEpicz permaban – Dexerto
NoPixel owner Koil gives statement following RatedEpicz permaban Rockstar GamesNoPixel owner Koil has given a statement asking for women to come forward following RatedEpicz’s recent permaban from the server. Back in January, RatedEpicz was accused of homophobia and emotional abuse by Twitch streamer Megskii, who he had spent two years in a relationship with. Fast forward to April 2, 2023, when Rated was hit with a permanent ban from the popular NoPixel server and quickly revealed that it was due to breaking TOS. NoPixel owner Koil has since given a statement regarding the mysterious ban, asking for any women that have been “mistreated” by Rated to come forward with their comments. Koil gives statement following Rated NoPixel ban Koil made the statement inside the NoPixel Discord server for everyone to read. “Recently we removed a figure from our community for violating our terms of service and have sourced legal advice after verifying multiple severe claims. There are very certain lines we will always draw which are always very clear,” he said. “We want to encourage any females to come forward from any communities if they would like to share any information on how they may have been mistreated by this person as multiple people already have, or just want to talk and seek help. You can contact Anna directly on email via anna@nopixel.net.” While the statement doesn’t specify the exact person that was removed or the reason behind their removal, it’s safe to assume it’s about the recent permaban of RatedEpicz. Rated has yet to speak any more regarding the situation as well, so fans are left wondering what exactly happened. We’ll be sure to update you when more information is available. NoPixel owner Koil responds to xQc’s unban request from GTA RP – Dexerto
NoPixel owner Koil responds to xQc’s unban request from GTA RP xQc/RockstarOne of the co-owners of the NoPixel GTA RP server doesn’t seem to have any intention of lifting Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s most recent ban anytime soon. xQc is currently waiting out his fourth consecutive ban from GTA RP server NoPixel, and after saying he wouldn’t be appealing this one earlier, on April 19 he again asked to be allowed back in. On April 18 xQc was banned for 30 days for breaking a variety of the server’s rules, and despite saying initially he didn’t plan on returning, he’s since changed his tune, and asked Koil, one of the owners, to be reinstated. “Koil, dude, can you unban me?” the streamer asked while playing the browser game slither.io, very obviously missing the streets of Los Santos. The NoPixel owner definitely saw the clip, as he watched it right on his stream, but xQc’s chances of being unbanned don’t seem to be going so well. “Even his hair looks messier and unhappier than usual,” Koil laughed. “Like, I think he actually legitimately loves it, but I don’t think he wants to say it.” That was all the owner said about xQc’s request, which is a good sign the streamer might have to serve out the entirety of his of his 30-day sentence, or at least a good portion of it. Even though he’s one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, it seems like xQc will have to continue waiting, either for the owner to change his mind, or for the ban to run it’s course. Either way, the chances of GTA RP appearing on his stream soon are pretty slim. The Canadian streamer was already plenty popular from before he started playing a ton of NoPixel, and the server has undoubtedly grown thanks to being featured on his and many other streamers channels, but those in charge seem to be making it clear: if you want to play, you have to play by the rules. While xQc definitely seems to want to get back into NoPixel, his attitude could very well change before his ban ends or the 30 days are up. Whatever happens, stick with Dexerto for all the latest info.

NoPixel developer wants Asmongold to join Twitch’s thriving GTA RP community – Dexerto
NoPixel developer wants Asmongold to join Twitch’s thriving GTA RP community NoPixel developer Danny ‘DW’ Tracey talks about the impact Twitch has had on GTA RP and wants to see platform icon Asmongold join the server, all told in an interview with Dexerto. For those who have been around Twitch for a while, you may have stumbled upon a peculiar Grand Theft Auto 5 stream. Instead of the high-octane gameplay of bank heists and rocket launchers, the streamer sits in their police car, responds to misdemeanor calls, and often lets fellow players off with a warning. This is GTA Roleplay. Instead of being the main character in a thrilling crime drama, streamers take on the role of NPCs in Los Santos. They grill out with their fellow NPCs, work a day job, or skip out on their responsibilities to enjoy a trip to the boardwalk. But what players unfamiliar with GTA might not realize is that these seemingly mundane tasks are mods developed by the team at NoPixel. And it’s only on these special servers that players can thoroughly act out the daily lives of NPCs. NoPixel developer DW attributes Twitch to the immense success of GTA RP. Twitch’s impact on NoPixel and GTA RP Dexerto sat down with DW, a developer for the NoPixel GTA RP server, to ask about Twitch’s impact on the server. “It’s indescribable,” stated DW. “I think NoPixel doesn’t exist without the content creator community. We’re very lucky to be essentially the #1 provider for content creators in the role-play space.” Of course, watching someone flip burgers doesn’t sound interesting, but DW gave his take on why players and viewers are attracted to a game like GTA RP. “I think it’s the interactions. The fact that you can interact with people. The main point of the interactions is that you know that they’re there to interact with you too. So it’s almost like a game of chicken, of who can be the goofiest in this interaction. Who can create the most entertainment for their streams or their YouTube video – if they are a content creator.” He also explains how GTA RP provides a safe environment for streamers to create content, unlike other multiplier experiences where their game can be ruined by stream snipers. But Twitch doesn’t only impact the game’s popularity. It also influences how NoPixel develops its roleplay server. “We have to put the audience in mind when we develop features. I wouldn’t say most of the NoPixel players are content creators, but it’s definitely a large sum. And they’re playing on NoPixel for their audience. So, we always have to take into consideration what the viewers see and how they feel” In turn, this leads to entire storylines being developed and played out by fans in real-time. “I think some of the things the community does themselves is mindblowing. With roleplay, it’s all about your imagination. Most recently, there’s been the Norman Bones storyline. Everyone is involved in the roleplay and the immersion just for that story.” NoPixel developer wants Asmongold to join the server Over the past few years, NoPixel has seen some of the biggest names on Twitch join the server and create incredibly entertaining content. Streamers like xQc and Summit1g have brought their personalities to GTA RP, if only for a short but delightful time. When asked who DW would want to see join the server, he didn’t wait long before offering up one of Twitch’s largest personalities. “I think it would be fun to see what Asmongold would be like on NoPixel. I’ve always told my stream it would be great if Asmongold was playing. I watched a bit of him playing the Rust community serve, and it was quite funny.” Asmon has gotten involved in community games in the past, so it isn’t unlikely for him to be spotted on the NoPixel server. Maybe the OTK co-owner will make an appearance in Los Santos soon.

Twitch streamer Elle Grenn banned from NoPixel GTA RP after metagaming accusations – Dexerto
Twitch streamer Elle Grenn banned from NoPixel GTA RP after metagaming accusations GTA / Twitter: ellegrennPopular Twitch streamer Elle Grenn has been permabanned from the NoPixel GTA RP server, after an incident in which she accused NoPixel staff of “metagaming.” Grenn’s character, Sofia Castellano, was well-known, but also notorious in the server, and has faced bans in the past. Metagaming in GTA RP is whenever a player uses out-of-character information in-game, while in character. It is banned to prevent the roleplay being interrupted or spoiled entirely by outside information informing a characters’ decisions or speech. In order to maintain the roleplay as best as possible, players found to be metagaming are often dealt bans, and repeated instances can result in a permaban. However, Grenn’s character, Sofia, appears to have been banned for accusing others of metagaming, specifically NoPixel staff. Why was Sofia banned from NoPixel? On November 3, Grenn’s character was involved in an awkward encounter with ‘Locksley’, a character played by a member of NoPixel staff. During the clip, an argument ensues, and at one point Sofia says “I’m going to do my very best to try to roleplay this out.” Later, Elle claims, “Locksley basically ‘metagamed’ the entire incident.” Following the stream, Elle Grenn confirmed she had been permabanned. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote “Yesterday, some of the RP that took place was solely based on meta information that shouldn’t have been out. I was really upset about this as it cut a lot of the RP with the PD completely out, so we tried to RP fix it. “Today I got perma’d for it? Nice.” Grenn continued in a follow-up tweet: “I guess when meta gaming happens blatantly to help one side and f**k the other, I am not supposed to say anything about it.” Elle Grenn has almost 30,000 followers on her Twitch account, where her content is almost exclusively GTA RP. Until the ban can be resolved, it might cause her to take a break from streaming also. Dexerto has reached out to Grenn for comment. A further response to the ban is expected.

Noir Vesper suspended by Hololive after “internal misconduct” – Dexerto
Noir Vesper suspended by Hololive after “internal misconduct” YT: Noir VesperPopular VTuber Noir Vesper has been suspended by Hololive for two weeks following “internal misconduct”. The world of virtual YouTubers may remain a mystery to some but, to others, it’s as popular and wildly successful as any other part of the video-sharing platform. One of the community’s most popular figures has been Noir Vesper since his debut on YouTube back in July of 2022. He is part of the Holostars English group ‘TEMPUS’ and, at the time of writing, sits at just shy of 190,000 followers on YouTube. However, VTuber fans were stunned on November 19 when Hololive announced that Vesper has been temporarily suspended as a result of “internal misconduct”. Cover Corp, the Japanese company behind the Hololive Production virtual talent agency, announced his suspension in a tweet which explained it will also bring changes to pre-planned activities and events. “Notice. Effective immediately, the accounts of talent Noir Vesper from HOLOSTARS EN will be stopping all activities for two weeks as a result of his internal misconduct within hololive Production,” they said. “Please understand that there may be changes to some pre-announced activities.” As of the publication of this article, Noir Vesper has not responded via his own social media channels. No more details have been released by Hololive, Cover Corp or any members of TEMPUS. He becomes the first time a member of TEMPUS to have received a major suspension. Barring any major changes, Noir Vesper’s two-week suspension will end on December 3, at which point he will presumably return to making content.
