  • Myth challenges Adin Ross & Sneako to boxing match following Creator Clash 2 win – Dexerto

Myth challenges Adin Ross & Sneako to boxing match following Creator Clash 2 win YouTube: Adin Live, Sneako/Instagram: MythigYouTube star Myth has challenged Adin Ross & Sneako to a boxing match following his recent Creator Clash 2 win, and he wants to fight them at the same time. Following years of live-streaming popularity, Myth made his debut in the boxing ring in Ludwig’s Chessboxing event back in December 2022 where he beat Cherdleys via time advantage. He followed up the Chessboxing event with a match during Creator Clash 2, where he brought home his second win — this time against Hundar. Now it appears that he’s looking to schedule his third boxing match, challenging Adin Ross and Sneako to a 2v1 bout. Myth wants to fight Adin Ross & Sneako at same time Myth posted the challenge to his Twitter page on April 18, 2023 — just days after he went home with a victory during Creator Clash 2. “I’ll do a boxing match where I fight Sneako and Adin Ross at the same time,” he said, before following up with a reply to iDubbbz’s wife Anisa. “Okay, I’ll only use my jab as well.” Adin has shown interest in boxing several times in the past, most recently revealing that he’s set to box against another streamer sometime in 2024. Unfortunately, he didn’t go into detail past that comment, so it’s unknown who Adin wants to get into the ring with for his first match. Neither Adin or Sneako have responded to his call-out at the time of writing, but we’ll be sure to update you if they do. • Myth, Cloak and more slam Epic Games over Fortnite Champions Series Trios tournament – Dexerto

Myth, Cloak and more slam Epic Games over Fortnite Champions Series Trios tournament epic games / myth twitchFortnite Battle Royale developers Epic Games have been criticized over their call to reschedule the North American weekly Champion Series event, from top players including Cloak, Myth and Kenith. The weekly Champion Series open tournament which allows Fortnite competitive players to battle it out in their trios has been rescheduled due to issues with the in-game party function. Although it was not featured in the Fortnite World Cup, the Trios playlist has been massively popular since its addition to the battle royale and often makes for more entertaining fights for some of the best players who livestream. The battle royale’s Trio’s events are quite popular despite not being featured at the Fortnite World Cup. The North American event was initially set to have the first two rounds of the tournament, which span for 3 hours each, take place on Saturday and have the final round, featuring the top 150 remaining players, conclude on Sunday evening. However, after the brief in-game party issues affected the start of the tournament, the entire event was rescheduled to take place on Sunday, kicking off with the first of the three rounds at 11AM and wrapping up at 10PM for both NA-East and NA-West competitions with just an hour break in between rounds. The competitive Fortnite community was not happy with the new outcome, meaning they would have to keep their focus up for the extent of the 11-hour schedule, and quickly began to criticize the decision. Due to issues with party services, the Champion Series tournament windows have been adjusted: Sunday NAE Round 1: 11 AM – 2 PM EST NAE Round 2: 3 PM – 6 PM EST NAE Round 3: 7 PM – 10 PM ESTNAW Round 1: 11 AM – 2 PM PST NAW Round 2: 3 PM – 6 PM PST NAW Round 3: 7 PM – 10 PM PST— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 31, 2019 100 Thieves star, Kenith, was among the first to speak out on the decision, expressing how he felt that the idea of having players competing for nine hours straight isn’t healthy. The Fortnite pro referred to Epic Games’ decision to remove stretched resolution out of concern for players but suggested they had no problem having players endure the tough Sunday schedule, “stretched res isn’t healthy because it causes motion blur but competing for 9 hours in one sitting is ok for our mental health.“ Stretched res isnt healthy because it causes motion blur but competing for 9 hours in one sitting is ok for our mental health — 100T Kenith (@kenith) August 31, 2019 Former FaZe Clan pro Cloak also chimed in, simply asking for the Fortnite tournament to be rescheduled so that it could be played on another weekend with the usual schedule, “Add another weekend thanks.” TSM player Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani simply demanded that the event be delayed, saying “THIS ACTUALLY ISN’T GOOD.” DELAY THIS SHIT. PUSH IT BACK A WEEK. LIKE THIS ACTUALLY ISN’T GOOD. https://t.co/oYjx1h4dPd — Myth (@TSM_Myth) August 31, 2019 Popular Twitch streamer, BrookeAB, also had an issue with the Champions series event being rescheduled and hit out at the Fortnite developers, saying, “You have lost your damn minds.” The streamer later expressed the same sentiment as cloakzy and sided with the idea of delaying the tournament so that it could be played on another weekend. There were many more other players and pro’s echoing the same concerns for the long day ahead, also claiming that the rescheduling was unfair to those who may have had other plans or had to be up early the next morning. Despite the community backlash, Epic Games have stuck by their decision and the Champion series event is set to kick off later today on September 1 for the NA-East and NA-West regions.

  • Myth calls for help on Twitter after car stolen – Dexerto

Myth calls for help on Twitter after car stolen MythFamous YouTuber and video game streamer Myth reaches out on social media following the theft of his car, asking fans in the area to help locate the missing vehicle. Despite modern technology seemingly making personal vehicles more secure than ever before, there have been waves of carjacking and thefts over the past several years. Unfortunately, no one seems to be omitted from the frustrating situation, as a famous gamer and Twitch streamer Myth recently reported his Audi S5 stolen. Many car owners have already heard about the TikTok trend surrounding the thefts of Kia and Hyundai vehicles. Those whose cars have been jacked using techniques shown on the mobile app have reported their vehicles completely destroyed or found abandoned far from their original locations. For many, the theft of a car is devastating and costly, and the stress of trying to find it is made worse by how hard it can be to track a missing car down. This is exactly why Myth has taken to Twitter, reaching out to over 2.5 million viewers in an attempt to speed up the process. Myth begs Twitter fans for help with missing Audi S5 In a Twitter post by Myth, the professional gamer and YouTuber shares the news that his Audi S5 has been stolen, stating, “If any of y’all driving around LA see a grey Audi S5 driving around holler at your boy please. My s*** got JACKED.” Myth adds in a second post, “Just hmu and I’ll confirm the plate details on my end. Ty. Idk if this s*** will work but it would be crazy if it did.” The plate number on the image of Myth’s car is blocked out, as he asks that anyone who sees a grey Audi S5 give him a message with the plate number and he will confirm if it is the missing vehicle. Fans in the comments are devastated on Myth’s behalf, offering him support and sympathy over the frustrating situation. One fan states, “Bro that is brutal such a sh** feeling” while another adds, “LA car jackings suck, you won’t see it for at least a month or two, they’re good about keeping it lowkey til it shows up at a random auction in another state.” At this time, there has been no news on whether Myth has made any progress on locating the car.

  • Myth and Valorant teammates “bully” xQc with perfect impressions – Dexerto

Myth and Valorant teammates “bully” xQc with perfect impressions Twitch: xQcOW / MythTwitch star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was in the middle of a match in Valorant, when his teammates and Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani hilariously trolled him by becoming ‘clones’ of the Overwatch pro. xQc continues to be one of the most-watched personalities on Twitch, as the Canadian’s fast talking rants and explosive personality have made him must-see entertainment on the platform. However during his April 12 broadcast, TSM Myth and fellow teammates unanimously began to mimic the streamer’s signature voice style, and it’s one of the funniest things you will see all week. xQc trolled by Valorant teammates impersonating him The streamer’s match had just started when he dropped a gun for Myth and quickly said, “I have one for you sell it, sell it, sell it.” The Fortnite personality replied by mimicking his fast speech, exclaiming “Okay sell it, dude!” His teammates followed suit and began to repeatedly say “dude dude dude!” in unison. xQc then shot back jokingly, “I buy your gun, I take you in, I nourish you, dude. And you f**king make fun of my speech impediment. F**k you, man!” Read More: LeafyIsHere hits back at “disgusting” H3H3 – He screamed over his teammates until everyone stopped. Then the TSM star continued, “Chat listen, dude. I’m xQc’s conscience, dude. I’ve been trying to talk to you guys for a while. I’m suffering inside, dude. Help me out! Please!” The xQc replied with, “I’m being bullied, dude. Yikes.” Myth kept showing off his spot-on impersonation as the Twitch star sat in silence listening. “I can’t stop saying dude, dude. I think I have issues, dude” he said aloud, cracking jokes at his friend. Just when it seemed the impressions were about to stop, another teammate jumped in and loudly exclaimed, “All I wanted to say, dude!” before breaking into laughter. This isn’t the first time Myth has impersonated the Twitch star. In fact he’s actually pretty damn good at it, and has perfected his impression over many broadcasts to incredible accuracy. The whole thing was in good fun of course, as the two have a history together in regards to the impression. xQc himself has in the past reacted to Myth’s incredible take on him. “That’s pretty good!” he said. The Canadian continues to crush it on the streaming platform, regularly pulling in 30-40k viewers a broadcast. At the time of writing, he’s amassed over 2.8 million followers to his channel.

  • Myth breaks down after watching YouTube documentary about him “falling off” – Dexerto

Myth breaks down after watching YouTube documentary about him “falling off” In a vulnerable on-stream moment, Myth was overwhelmed by emotion after watching a video explaining his fall from the top of the streaming world. However, not all of his emotions were negative, and he ultimately wound up appreciating the video’s original creator for making it. It’s extremely difficult to maintain a career as a streamer. Whether it be the crushing weight of having to go live each day, Twitch contracts that force you to stream an overwhelming amount of time as some creators have alleged, or people just moving on to new content, there’s a lot that can cause someone to “fall off”. Myth is one such creator whose following has shrunk in the time after Fortnite’s heyday. Though there are many who still know of him, he isn’t at the top of the Twitch world like he used to be. However, he didn’t seem all that sad when watching a video explaining why his viewership has fallen so far. Rather, he was happy with what he’s accomplished up to this point and came away feeling positive about his journey as a creator. Myth looks back fondly on his career despite having “fallen off” Myth hasn’t been shy about losing his following over the years, with even himself explaining why he fell off in his own YouTube video over a year ago. He explained that he couldn’t keep up with being the “Fortnite guy” and that he felt he was “arrogant” at the time without the skill to back it up. Even when Myth was reacting to a video made by creator Directed by Fainted, he was laughing at his own mistakes, often agreeing with the YouTuber even as he pointed out where Myth’s viewership dropped off. For instance, when a game called V Rising was mentioned as a game he pulled around 60 viewers playing, good memories rushed back to him. “V Rising! Yes! Dude, I had the time of my life. These were so good. V Rising was so much fun, I wanna go back. I would do it all over again, holy s*** V Rising was so much fun.” Though Myth was surprisingly upbeat through the video, he did take some moments to reflect on where he lost a lot of his viewership. When a viewer roasted him a bit on the topic, he agreed. “‘The most consistent thing you did was be inconsistent in what you wanted to do.’ I mean… Yeah. I’m not gonna lie, it’s really hard for me to determine what the f*** I actually want to do in the industry. I think, a lot of the time, there hasn’t really been enough time for me to sit down with myself and genuinely think about that. Just because I have to stream every day. I can’t not stream every day.” And, when the move from Twitch to YT was discussed as one of the reasons for his declining viewership, he wasn’t shy about his motivations. “Nobody can deny that I’m bag chasing. If you hate me for it, so be it dude.” Ultimately, Fainted wound up praising Myth for “staying true to himself” and trying to become a variety streamer. This is where Myth ultimately broke down, but not in sadness. Rather, he was overcome by emotion thinking about the path he’s had up to this point. “It is crazy how little I look back on what I’ve done and I feel good about it, you know? This video kind of helped me see that. It just feels really good, man.”

  • YouTuber MYSTIC7 reveals price for his channel – Dexerto

YouTuber MYSTIC7 reveals price for his channel Dexerto caught up with Pokemon GO and mobile gaming superstar MYSTIC7, for our You’ve Finally Made It series, as he took a trip down memory lane to relive some of his most iconic and embarrassing moments. With over 2.4 million YouTube subs, MYSTIC7 has enjoyed a long and prosperous career as one of mobile gaming’s biggest stars – but with such a journey, there’s also bound to be some hiccups along the way. In ‘Click it or Ticket’, we’re reminding these creators of some moments in their lives they may have even forgotten about themselves, through a series of photos. The premise is simple: if this is a fond memory for them, something they cherish and are proud of, they can Click it. If not, and they’d rather it be wiped from the history books, it’s a Ticket. Of course, this also gives MYSTIC7 the chance to go into some details that fans may never have heard about his career too, such as the state of YouTube when he started out. “When I started YouTube, it wasn’t anything. It was just a bunch of nerds and film people making funny vlogs and stuff. It wasn’t a career path then. At 100,000 subs, that was when I experienced my first explosion. At that point I was like, yeah, I want to do this full-time.” Now, to sell his channel, MYSTIC7 joked that he’d want a few million at least, but that it’s too precious to him to consider – for now. MYSTIC7 also talked about one of his priciest Pokemon Go collector’s items, which he estimates to be worth between $30,000 – $40,000. After that, there was no option but to open up some Pokemon cards, and our host James actually pulled a decent shiny – before deciding to tear it in half.

  • Myth advises Dr Disrespect to “not get involved” after Starfield backlash – Dexerto

Myth advises Dr Disrespect to “not get involved” after Starfield backlash YouTube: Myth/Dr DisrespectYouTube streamer Myth has given his advice to Dr Disrespect after the mustachioed streamer found himself in hot water over “politics” comments made about Starfield. While Myth isn’t the high-flying, high-octane Twitch star he was a few years ago, after he rose to stardom on TSM during the peak Fortnite days of 2017-2019, he’s still a mainstay in the streaming world and is well-versed on what works and what doesn’t. In his September 5 stream, he reached out with a personal message to Dr Disrespect, giving him some advice after the Two-Time found himself at the center of a Starfield-related controversy. Myth sends “personal message” to Dr Disrespect In a stream earlier in September, Dr Disrespect revealed he was denied a deal to work with Starfield developer Bethesda due to “past controversies,” and when he noticed the company’s head of publishing, Pete Hines, had his pronouns in his bio, he said that “everything’s starting to make sense.” The clip went viral and many came out to criticize the Doc, who later insisted that he wants to avoid politics in general. A few days later, Myth ended up speaking about the debacle, offering some clear advice to Dr Disrespect. “I think it’s weird when his character gets involved with things his character shouldn’t be getting involved with,” Myth explained. “Like, Doc… Personal message to you bro: Do the character. I love you as a streamer, I think you’re one of the most talented people in this industry. Honestly, I just think, no, it gets the people talking, so I understand that. “It gets people talking, it gets people chatting, whatever … but I just hope that he doesn’t become like Dave Chappelle.” He then critiques Chappelle’s content since he was ‘canceled’, complaining about how it is heavily laden with comments about transgender people. Timestamp 37:38 There’s no telling whether Dr Disrespect will care for Myth’s advice, or if he’ll even receive it, but has insisted that he doesn’t want to involve “politics” in his streams and wants to stay away from topics like those. Whether he does, though, is another question altogether.

Mysterious TikTok star TheSkiMaskGirl breaks the internet with viral face reveal TikTok: theskimaskgirlTikTok star ‘TheSkiMaskGirl’ has finally gone full “mask off,” revealing her face in a video that’s taking over social media. It’s not uncommon for certain influencers to avoid showing their faces online in order to protect themselves from harassment or invasions of privacy. In fact, quite a few social media stars have made it a big part of their brand, like Corpse Husband, who refuses to show his face even after gaining international fame for his deep voice and original music. TheSkiMaskGirl goes viral for long-awaited face reveal TheSkiMaskGirl is one of these faceless creators… or, rather, “was.” As her name suggests, SkiMaskGirl is always seen wearing a ski mask, with cutouts around her eyes and mouth. For years, fans were itching for her to finally show her face, and on January 22, she finally granted their wishes. This isn’t the first time that SkiMaskGirl has done a face reveal of sorts, although it is the biggest one she’s done, thus far. You guys have been nothing but kind and supportive. I’m very grateful. I love you.” For now, she has yet to post any other videos showing off her full face, but fans are here for her content either way.

  • Mystery white dust falling from sky sparks wild theories – Dexerto

Mystery white dust falling from sky sparks wild theories UNSPLASH: Aditya VyasA mysterious white powder falling from the sky in Maryland and West Virginia has sparked some wild theories on TikTok. On February 23, residents from West Virginia and Maryland shared reports of unusual white dust falling from the sky, coating their cars, and outdoor furniture. After the reports emerged, residents were encouraged to stay inside. However, after it was discovered that the substance didn’t appear harmful, people began scraping it off their belongings. Some residents stated that the “dust sediment” was sticky and left milky hues on their cars as they attempted to clean it. Authorities have since carried out an investigation into the substance, but there have been no confirmed answers. TikTok users have now shared their thoughts on what the white particles could be. TikTok reacts to white dust falling from sky Many users thought the white powder might be due to a nearby dust storm that has traveled into other areas. “Dust from the desert southwest, a very strong storm system causing all the wintry weather across the northern US,” one user said. “Probably dust storm although I don’t think it’s white,” another added. Some users made claims that small planes were flying over Maryland and dropping the powder. “My friend in Maryland saw a small plane dropping white dust this morning. Something weird’s going on,” one user claimed. “I’ve seen a lot of small jets leaving chemical trails lately,” another commented. Others joked that the white powder falling from the sky could be a marketing stunt for the movie Cocaine Bear, with many calling it “the greatest advertisement ever.” A few users theorized that the substance could be a residue from the recent Ohio train derailment. The train was carrying toxic chemicals and when 38 of the carriages derailed, a fire started in 12 or more of the cars. However, a spokesperson from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, stated that there is no relation between the train incident and the mysterious white dust.

  • “Mysterious” Amouranth billboards are popping up in Los Angeles – Dexerto

“Mysterious” Amouranth billboards are popping up in Los Angeles Twitter: wildkaitTwitch star Amouranth is popping up on billboards across Los Angeles, and she’s asking fans to send her photos of the ads whenever they see them. Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is one of the most-watched women on Twitch. She’s more than just a streamer, though; she’s also a major business mogul, having purchased a gas station, $1 million in Visa stock, and most recently, a company that produces plastic balls. One of her purchases also included a 7-Eleven location… and in a totally unexpected twist of fate, advertisements appearing to reference her convenience store are popping up across Los Angeles. On February 17 — two months after she bought the location for $10 million — Amouranth shared photos of herself plastered on a billboard seemingly advertising her OnlyFans. Or her 7-Eleven store. • MySpace returns: ‘SpaceHey’ brings social media back to its roots – Dexerto

MySpace returns: ‘SpaceHey’ brings social media back to its roots SpaceHeyCould Myspace be back? Social media platform SpaceHey has arrived after a teenager decided to rebuild the iconic website from the ground up. In 2003, Tom Anderson and a group of coworkers at the time created Myspace, one of the Internet’s first social media platforms. It quickly gained popularity, growing to a peak of over 115 million users, even outranking Google for the most visited website in its time. Once Facebook came into the picture and started gaining popularity, Myspace quickly lost momentum as users were switching over to the new social media platform. On November 18, 2020, a German teenager by the name of “An” announced a new development project called SpaceHey, where he will focus on building a fully functional version of Myspace. SpaceHey clones Myspace Within weeks of his initial announcement, An launched the first version of the website. Soon after, he announced even more updates to the website in his profile blog post. While the site launched with its Myspace throwback profiles, friends list, and blog posts, he explained: “I’ve added some new features yesterday and today: The biggest ones are Blog Comments and the ability to Report Profiles, Comments, and Blog Entries.” According to the same blog from the creator, over two-thousand users joined the website within days of launch. Thanks to a boost of nostalgia from social media almost a year after its initial launch, the website has grown to over 270,000 users according to a tweet from the official Twitter page. Twitter reacts to SpaceHey After slowly growing over the course of a year, news of the Myspace look-a-like has spread across social media. The viral spread has gotten the attention of many users who were fans of the iconic website as they tweet pictures of their profiles with the hashtag “SpaceHey.” Other users have even posted pictures of the website’s terms, noting that there are no algorithms, tracking, or personalized ads. This alone makes @spacehey seem awesome. Re-doing Myspace is icing on the cake. I REALLY hope this is legit pic.twitter.com/6x5KGaQlVx — Rae The Writer (@WriteAsRae) November 12, 2021 Other users have even made references to the ability to customize your own Myspace layout, as it is also a feature on SpaceHey: “Myspace being back means I got my job back as an HTML coder.” https://twitter.com/AYYEJOYCE/status/1459005527401242632?s=20 It’s really unlikely that SpaceHey has the ability to dethrone Facebook as the top social media platform, or even if that’s what the creator has set out to do. For now, we just have to decide who our top-8 will be.

On March 27, Addison Rae appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about her new single ‘Obsessed,’ and also participated in a segment where she demonstrated some of the most popular dances on TikTok, including ‘Savage,’ ‘Corvette Corvette,’ and ‘Blinding Lights.’ However, there were calls on social media for the show to properly credit the black creators who made many of the dances that were featured in the show. It shouldn’t continue like it’s been happening.” She explained that “I feel like it is very important for us to get our credit because we are very good creators that are very overlooked in what we do,” after countless instances of black creators being overlooked when it comes to sponsorships and other opportunities. Many TikTok users are aiming to focus the spotlight on the original creators of the most popular dances on the app.

  • MxR Plays “happy” with resolution reached after Jukin Media exploitation – Dexerto

MxR Plays “happy” with resolution reached after Jukin Media exploitation MxR Plays, YouTubeAfter being hit with a $3,000 bill for reacting to memes and clips purportedly owned by Jukin Media, YouTube duo “MxR Plays” have apparently reached an agreement with the company. MxR Plays went viral after Tweeting out a bill owed to Jukin Media, an entertainment licensing group that charged them $3,000 for using a “single meme” in one of their ever-popular reaction videos. Fearful that Jukin would strike down their channel due to copyright infringement, the YouTubers turned to social media for help, begging fans, viewers, and other content creators for advice in dealing with what they called “extortion” from the company. Here are the charges Jukin media gave me. $3000 for a single meme bc it contained footage from two of their clips. If I don’t pay this, they’ll strike and take down my channel. pic.twitter.com/61h8FrJJxf — MxR (@mmoxreview) January 10, 2020 Now, it seems that the parties involved have come to an agreement, as revealed by the duo in a video uploaded on January 16. According to MxR Plays, both they and Jukin came to a resolution that they were “happy” with, although they couldn’t lay out the exact terms of their settlement publicly. “They actually welcomed negotiation,” MxR claimed. “Which is a great thing, because we’re willing to work together. We had a talk and came to a resolution I’m very happy with, Jeanie is very happy with, Jukin is very happy with. I think, in the end, it all worked out.” While the two claimed they’d be able to make videos going forward “how we want them” and “not have to worry,” they likewise spoke out against angry viewers who allegedly doxxed the personal information of Jukin employees in retaliation to their highly-publicized feud. “Originally, what they did was unfair, but the part where people were getting doxxed… personal, private information of employees and the executive board of that company were being released,” Jeanie explained. “That part, we did not like, and were scared.” The couple went on to thank their fanbase for banding together in solidarity for their cause — one that has finally seen justice dealt in regards to YouTube’s oft-confusing copyright and Content ID systems that have plagued many content creators throughout the years.

  • MVP co-founder reveals why Jake Paul vs Logan Paul got turned down by Netflix – Dexerto

MVP co-founder reveals why Jake Paul vs Logan Paul got turned down by Netflix Instagram/LoganPaulNakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of MVP, has revealed why Netflix decided against doing Jake Paul vs Logan Paul when Mike Tyson had to postpone the match. Jake Paul was set to take on Mike Tyson on July 20, but the boxing legend was forced to postpone the fight after suffering ulcer flare-up. Although the bout was moved to November 15 and Jake Paul decided to battle former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July instead, rumors swirled that a brother vs brother headliner could happen instead. When Tyson had to postpone, Logan Paul issued a challenge to Jake on social media – one that his brother was quick to accept. Logan later told Donald Trump that he approached Netflix about stepping in for ‘Iron Mike’. Jake would later corroborate this, claiming that the streaming platform was indeed “interested.” Ultimately, Netflix decided that it was better to wait for Tyson instead, but according to MVP co-founder, Nakisa Bidarian, there’s one reason why the brother vs brother beatdown didn’t go ahead. (segment begins at 47:17) “We said to Netflix, we could get the two of them to agree to do it on July 20th on Netflix,” he told Ariel Helwani on MMA Hour. “I think Netflix saw it as a phenomenal, massive event, with not enough run-up to do it the right way.” Bidarian also noted that while there is love between the siblings, there’s also a very real competitive nature there, too. “This is an older brother, younger brother dynamic always, right? And I do believe you’ll see that fight at some point,” he said. “It’s 100% real… That feels like a massive, global event no matter what, because it’s two brothers putting it all on the line.” With Jake Paul vs Tyson scheduled for November 15, chances are we could finally see Logan vs Jake in 2025 if everything comes together.

Muslim woman calls out old man for thinking she’s dressed as a “penguin” TIKTOK: savannahgeishaaA Muslim woman went viral on TikTok after calling out an elderly man who thought she was dressed like a “penguin”. TikTok is home to countless viral moments, often captured by regular people simply getting on with their day. While many are light-hearted, there are others that spark more serious conversations about society. In a short clip with 2.1 million views, a woman called Savannah revealed an unusual question an elderly man allegedly asked her while she was working at an aquarium, sparking debate on the app. The TikToker claimed that the man asked her “are you dressed up as a penguin?” while she was wearing her black and white hijab. “Once he pointed that out, I was thinking ‘do I look like a penguin?’ I didn’t know what to say,” she explained. “So I was like ‘yeah, I’m a penguin,’ cause like I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious.” Savannah said the man later offered her an apology. “When he got to the end to the sales area I said to him ‘hey, I’m not a penguin by the way’ and he said “I’m so sorry, I realize that”,’ she recalled. TikTok users in the comments were divided on the incident, with some saying the man was rude to Savannah. “I think he was trying to insult you and justify it by expecting you to insult him back. When you didn’t play along, he just felt bad,” one person wrote. “That’s so rude,” another said. “I’m sorry beautiful,” a third added. The majority, however, defended the elderly man and saw the funny side of the incident. “I’m sorry, that’s a grandpa joke. Not right, but sure it wasn’t malicious,” one commented. “I’m Muslim and think it’s a valid question given the environment you were in,” another shared. “That’s so funny! I bet that guy realized his mistake 5 seconds after he said that and felt mortified,” another comment read. • Musician goes viral on TikTok after releasing debut album on Game Boy Advance – Dexerto

Musician goes viral on TikTok after releasing debut album on Game Boy Advance A musician on TikTok recently went viral after re-releasing their debut album on Game Boy Advance cartridges, and yes, you can buy a copy. Musical artists often re-release their older projects on different mediums for fans to grow their collections. We’ve seen artists release albums on 12-inch vinyl records or outdated cassette tapes just for the novelty of having a unique piece of memorabilia. This can sometimes be taken to the extreme when artists lock their music behind a specific platform. For example, country music artist Garth Brooks signed a multi-year exclusive deal with Wal-Mart making it the only way for fans to enjoy his music. Also, Kanye West recently released Donda 2 on his Stem Player and stated it won’t be made available anywhere else. However, electronic dance musician Slow Magic is taking a fairly creative route to make his music available on the widest variety of platforms. Triangle now available on GBA On April 20, Slow Magic posted a TikTok announcing his debut album “Triangle” is available on Game Boy Advance. He’s shown inserting the custom cartridge into a Game Boy Advance SP and shuffling through a few songs. The album also features visuals for each song including the official music videos for their respective tracks. And the limited run is available to purchase right now. The Game Boy Advance release is a limited run in celebration of the album’s 10-year anniversary. It comes with a Game Boy Advance game box featuring the album artwork and tracklist. The TikTok states that the cartridge works with any Game Boy Advance system, and they demo the experience on a custom GBA SP. You can buy Slow Magic’s Triangle album for the Game Boy Advance for $40 USD via the OasisLTD Bandcamp. Musician Marc Rebillet kicked out of Times Square by police amid latest YouTube stream YouTube: Marc RebilletMusician Marc Rebillet was told by police to leave Times Square in the middle of broadcasting his most recent, interactive livestream. Known for his electronic music and funk improvisation, Marc Rebillet has amassed a following of over two million on YouTube as he tours the globe with his endlessly creative style of looping production. Rebillet displays his musical talent through comedic and often taboo subject matter. Not afraid to push boundaries, the musician doesn’t shy away from any topic or shocking lyrics. However, often performing in public spaces to get crowds involved in the creation process, Rebillet recently ran into trouble with police after setting up in Times Square. In the clip, Rebillet is approached first by local security and told to “pack it up” with the threat of police involvement. Police were later called, giving the YouTuber 20 minutes to leave in what Rebillet described as a “good, hard, pretty intense instruction” to get moving. Not one to be easily intimidated, Rebillet considered ignoring instructions and continuing with his performance. “It would be a real pain in the a** to have to pack this up and deploy somewhere else,” the YouTuber said. Rebillet ultimately decided against this, stating that he didn’t want to be arrested. “Crazy that he was even thinking about keeping playing,” one person commented on the ordeal. “He probably would’ve caught a ban for getting arrested while live. Not worth [it].” Amplified street performances require a permit to perform in New York City, which Rebillet did not have. Permits cost $45 per day, something the YouTuber may have to consider investing in for the future. But something tells us Rebillet will continue to broadcast his music in public without worry, until the next time he is made unwelcome. • Musician boycotts McDonald’s after uncooked burger left him “wrecked” – Dexerto

Musician boycotts McDonald’s after uncooked burger left him “wrecked” Robert Owen WahlAustralian musician Anton Vallely reportedly recieved an uncooked burger from McDonald’s, and he says it left him “wrecked.” McDonald’s has forged their entire brand around affordable food, low prices, and a plethora of novelty items. Their grill-fried, grease-dipped food has put smiles on millions of customers over the years. However, one recent late-night excursion turned sour for one Aussie man, who ate a burger and got more than he bargained for. Musician says uncooked McDonald’s burger left him “wrecked” According to a report, during a visit at McDonald’s in Coolum, Queensland, musician Anton Vallely ordered up a quarter pounder. It was around 2 am after a few drinks that his night went from good to bad in a matter of minutes. After taking a few bites out of his burger, he noticed something off about the texture. Fumbling in the dark, he used his phone’s light and discovered that the burger was severely undercooked. “I was sick as soon as I realised and now my throat feels weird and I’ve been sweating,” Vallely told a news outlet. Not only did his throat feel off but he immediately began vomiting. Since the incident, he admitted that his voice has been affected. “I feel like there’s been a difference in my singing as well from the vomiting,” he added. Despite vomiting and sweating, Vallelly didn’t go to the doctor. “I don’t think it’s that bad. I’m not dying or anything, but I just thought it was worth saying something.” A McDonald’s spokesperson said their investigation resulted in Vallely being issued a “full refund and replacement meal.” The statement continued: “We treat complaints of this nature very seriously and will continue to work with the restaurant on the necessary actions.” For more food news and other viral stories, keep it locked to Dexerto.

  • Music publishers file lawsuit against Twitter for alleged copyright infringement – Dexerto

Music publishers file lawsuit against Twitter for alleged copyright infringement Joshue Hoehne via UnsplashThe National Music Publishers’ Association has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk’s Twitter for allegedly violating the copyright of songwriters. Across nearly all social media platforms, using a snippet of copyrighted songs or videos could lead to your post — or even your entire account — being removed. Apps like YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat have agreements with copyright holders that have the companies paying millions of dollars each per year. According to a report from Bloomberg Law, however, Twitter does not have an agreement and now the National Music Publishers’ Association is seeing damages for 1,700 songs. NMPA files lawsuit against Twitter for alleged copyright The report states that the NMPA filed the complaint in federal court in Nashville, Tennessee on behalf of 17 music publishers including Sony Music, and Universal Music Publishing Group. The 17 music publishers are seeking up to $150,000 for every song infringed as well as other damages, although they didn’t specify what those other damages would include. “The Twitter platform, which Elon Musk purchased in 2022 for $44 billion, is rife with copyright infringement,” the group said. The New York Times revealed back in March that Twitter’s attempt to get licensing deals from various publishers fell flat due to costs. Twitch is another platform that’s had issues with copyright over the last few years, though the Amazon-owned site signed an agreement with the NMPA in September 2021. Twitter has yet to make a comment about the lawsuit at the time of writing, but we’ll be sure to update you if they do. • Music streamer stuns viewers with improvised Darude Sandstorm piano cover – Dexerto

Music streamer stuns viewers with improvised Darude Sandstorm piano cover Australian Twitch streamer lara6683 turned up the heat during a broadcast where she covered the iconic trance track Sandstorm by Darude. While taking donations and song request as part of her November 4 stream, Lara, had just finished covering Legend of Wind by Nausicaa when viewer and fellow streamer czech_meowt asked her to play Sandstorm. The old-school video game enthusiast had to quickly listen to the track to re-familiarize herself with the 1999 hit. “I haven’t listened to this track in a while,” the musician said. “So let’s see if anything new leaps out at us.” Lara proceeded to ponder what she would do to spice up the fan-favorite theme for her stream. “I’m probably going to make this a bit more chill,” she stated. “There’s not a whole lot to this track when you think about it.” As she continued to think about her approach, the song requester czech_meowt appreciated the streamer’s effort. “This is amazing,” they wrote. “Thank you for entertaining me with this request.” Darude Sandstorm is well-known for not only being played at sporting events and other media but for its place in meme culture. In internet culture, streamers who play music in the background are often asked by viewers what song they’re listening to. Viewers sarcastically reply “Darude – Sandstorm.” It is because of the song’s deep meme ties that it was likely requested to begin with. Eventually, the piano player worked her magic and put together an impressive impromptu cover of the hit song and even pulled off a great outro by dialing back the pace and fading out majestically with a big smile on her face. What makes it even more special is the fact that Lara’s songs are not rehearsed, and it’s all chat-driven content from requests. Lara’s musical talents have earned her quite a following with over 200,000 on the streaming platform. Her YouTube channel documents some of her best covers featuring tracks from games such as Castlevania, Chrono Trigger, and The Legend of Zelda to movies like Halloween and Jurassic Park. There’s no telling how much bigger she can become if she keeps producing solid covers like this.

Music fans outraged as Addison Rae makes Barstool’s top singers of all time list Twitter: Barstool Sports / YouTube: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonMusic fans across the internet were left outraged after Barstool Sports included TikTok star Addison Rae in their ranking list of the best female singers of all time. Addison Rae is one of TikTok’s most followed content creators and an online icon, at large. Boasting a hefty 85 million fans on TikTok, Rae has also branched out into the mainstream by starring in a Netflix film, crafting her own perfume and makeup lines, and, of course, kickstarting a music career. Addison Rae’s song ‘Obsessed’ released in March 2021, and thus far, she has yet to release any new hits… but that didn’t stop Barstool Sports from cheekily including the internet star in their Top 10 best female singers of all time list. Barstool Sports names Addison Rae in Top 10 female singers of all time The company published their list on November 16, which included greats such as Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Whitney Houston… as well as Ashlee Simpson and, in the number ten slot, Addison Rae. While such a list is bound to be controversial no matter who is included, it seems the Twitterverse was especially up in arms over the addition of Addison Rae, who, thus far, has only published a single song (one that was met with mixed reviews). Whitney and Aretha need to be tied at number 1. Jojo, ashlee Simpson, and Addison Rae do not need to be here tf — Maia♉️ (@Exia_Atreides) November 17, 2021 It’s clear that the internet isn’t amused by Barstool Sports’ ranking list, which most certainly included a few joke additions in the time-honored tradition of online trolling. That being said, Rae has teased fans with a full album release in the past, claiming the project would be releasing “super soon” and that it was being produced (at least in part) by Benny Blanco. However, when slated to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, Rae notably stepped down from the event, saying she wasn’t ready to “give my fans 110%” — and as her album has yet to come out, it’s unclear where her musical future lies, at present. For now, it’s clear that she’s got a few more singles to belt out before the internet is ready to accept her in any kind of singers’ ranking list.

  • Muselk reveals “mindblowing” CSGO brand deal that he turned down – Dexerto

Muselk reveals “mindblowing” CSGO brand deal that he turned down Instagram: mrmuselk / YouTube / Wikimedia CommonsWhile popular YouTuber Elliott ‘Muselk‘ Watkins is more commonly associated with the likes of Fortnite, and Overwatch in his rise to internet stardom, the content creator revealed one staggering CSGO deal he turned down. The biggest names on Twitch and YouTube alike are often approached by globally recognizable brands in order to promote their products or services. Whether that be a new gaming headset or a new sneaker deal for instance. While many of these proposals see the light of day in the form of posts or even exclusive videos, deals are occasionally turned down. Revealing his biggest rejection, Muselk shared details on a staggering CSGO agreement he once turned down. A few years back when his channel was considerably smaller than the Fortnite juggernaut that it is today, Muselk was approached by a Counter-Strike betting company. He admitted he was “caught off-guard” by the lucrative pitch. Although his YouTube channel was focused on Overwatch at the time, and not at all relevant to CSGO, the company reached out to him nonetheless. “We want you to do a sponsored video,” they suggested in the cold-message email. “We will give you $55,000 USD to do one sponsored video.” Muselk suggested it the biggest deal he’d seen up until that point in his career, and that it “was so much bigger than any other thing I’d ever done.” Yet, the “mindblowing” amountwasn’t quite enough for him to accept. For mobile readers, the relevant section begins at 41:00. “I mulled on it for a little bit and ultimately was just like, no, I don’t wanna do that,” he explained. “I didn’t want to end up putting that content on my channel.” “It was right during that CSGO gambling phase.” While the conversation hadn’t quite blossomed into the major scandal that it would soon reach, plenty of content creators were able to sniff out the “dodgy” nature of such a deal. With various CSGO gambling websites rigging bets in their favor, the ruse was soon caught out and those attached to the brands undeniably took a hit. So while Muselk turned down a hefty payday, he also unknowingly dodged a big bullet. “Fundamentally, the more you do sponsored stuff on YouTube, the more you learn what’s appropriate,” he added, detailing that while the money can be great, not every brand deal is of the best interests of each unique content creator. By and large the biggest deal that he had seen at the time, he shared that while $55,000 USD was a huge chunk of change for a YouTube brand deal a number of years ago, he now knows people in the industry who have walked away from far more considerable sums in the last few years. “I know people who have turned down well into the six-figure amounts,” he added. The YouTuber went on to discuss a number of brand deals over the years, from his first major opportunity with Ubisoft, to other collaborations that didn’t quite work out. This enormous CSGO deal stood out as the most significant that he had turned down, however.

  • Muselk ruins MrFreshAsian’s Fortnite games with hilarious keyboard prank – Dexerto

Muselk ruins MrFreshAsian’s Fortnite games with hilarious keyboard prank YouTube: MrMuselk/UnsplashPopular YouTuber Elliott ‘Muselk’ Watkins pulled off a pretty dastardly prank on fellow Aussie content creator MrFreshAsian as he replaced his gaming keyboard with a wireless one – giving him the power to control his Fortnite matches. The Click Crew is a collection of some of Australia’s most popular personalities across both YouTube and Twitch – with some of them having lived together, while all now working out of the Click Office. With a group of content creators under one roof, it gives them the perfect chance to pull pranks on each other. So, Muselk, one of the most popular members of the group, decided to follow through on one idea to ruin a stream with a simple wireless keyboard. To kick off his devilish plan, the Aussie had to go and purchase a wireless keyboard and rig it up to MrFreshAsian’s gaming PC in order to mess with him. Once it was all sorted, he awaited the arrival of the Fortnite player before trying to get his prank going. It didn’t take long, though, as Muselk immediately began messing with his building commands – prompting the streamer to question whether or not his keyboard was broken. However, things got taken up another level when Lannan ‘LazarBeam’ Eacott got involved and decided to hit ALT F4, turning MrFreshAsian’s game off. While that wasn’t exactly subtle, it gave the streamer’s viewers enough of a chance to figure out what was going on – blowing Muselk’s prank. Yet, he turned the negative into a positive by putting a $500 challenge to MrFreshAsian, asking him to reconnect the keyboard and win a match while it was connected. Obviously, he obliged. Despite multiple distractions, including having Muselk bash the keyboard over his head, the streamer prevailed and claimed a victory royale – leaving him $500 better off and, most of all, having left the keyboard prank in tatters.

YouTuber Muselk was looking for some new challenges to try for his channel and fellow creator Mr Beast recommended that he should attempt the classic Fortnite Deathrun challenge – with a unique twist. The Australian YouTuber posted on twitter, calling for some of the best challenge suggestions, “Give me your hardest Fortnite challenge idea. One that will make me cry a little inside.” MrBeast was quick to reply, suggesting that he takes on the difficult Deathrun course in Fortnite but every time he dies during his attempt he would have to giveaway a PC to a lucky fan. Muselk accepted the challenge although instead of giving away a PC with each death he settled on giving away $1,000 instead, explaining, “Not everyone wants a gaming PC so instead of giving away a computer every time I die, we’re going to be giving away $1,000.” Death run but every time you fail you have to giveaway the computer you’re playing on. — MrBeast (@MrBeast) November 16, 2019 The popular creator surprised many fans early in the Deathrun attempt, making short work of some of the earlier levels, however, things quickly began to get more and more challenging as he progressed. Despite having some difficulties completing the challenge, Muselk managed to get through the 100-level Deathrun course with only 10 deaths when it was over. Deathrun attempt starts at 1:56 for mobile users. Although his run would normally be considered fairly impressive, due to the high stakes of the challenge there was not too much cause for celebration seeing as he would have to part with a grand total of $10,000. Many of Mr Beast’s own challenges often result in the contestants being to the ones to walk away with some extra cash, as was seen in his ridiculous $1 million dollar challenge series, but unfortunately for Muselk, this was not the case with his challenge.

  • How Muselk went from law school to building a YouTube empire – Dexerto

How Muselk went from law school to building a YouTube empire Instagram: MuselkElliott ‘Muselk’ Watkins has that story you’ve heard a number of times: a law school drop-out, he decided to take the plunge into content creation. Now more than half a decade on, he’s one of the biggest faces on YouTube, and his empire reaches millions daily. Muselk had a career in law sitting for him on a silver platter when he decided to make the full-time plunge into content creation. YouTube had always been that thing he could try and do, but it’d be impossible to make it, right? Looking back to those early days in 2014 to now, it’s funny to see how things have changed for Watkins. Being in the right place at the right time with the right attitude, Muselk turned thousands of fans into millions practically overnight. It was never the plan for Watkins, who was nearing the end of his law degree in Australia. However, it’s a lot better than shuffling through all those legal documents — even if the first initial step was daunting. “[I knew I could do YouTube full-time] when I was getting about half the minimum wage and was looking at making minimum wage as a goal,” he explained in an exclusive interview with Dexerto. “Early on when you start getting that momentum behind the channel and you can feel the growth, that’s when I knew I could make it full-time.” First it was Team Fortress 2, then Overwatch. However he’s exploded alongside Fortnite since 2017. With an intense daily upload schedule (for a time) and pure down under Aussie charisma, he had the foundations to thrive, and the formula to catapult into stardom. In those early days, it was great seeing the numbers climb. The Silver plaque becomes a Gold button, and the accolades roll in. No matter the success though, the grind eventually takes its toll. “I used to struggle with it quite a lot when I started. I was doing 7 days a week, 16 hours a day — and I’m not exaggerating because I was recording videos, editing them, creating thumbnails, uploading and releasing them,” he said. “These days I’ve got a good team around me that does a great job of that, but I’ve also told myself that the daily schedule isn’t everything. I try to not stress too much anymore and convince myself that after doing it for so long, it’s okay to miss a release here or there. It’s about balance.” He’s put in the hard yards though. Now it’s a case of making sure his throne is nice and shiny for the years to come — and that future is a long one if Muselk has things his way. View this post on Instagram Following the trends Muselk’s entire career has been based on trends. While it started out with Team Fortress 2 shenanigans, the Valve shooter was quickly replaced by Blizzard rival Overwatch, which took the world by storm in 2016. Overwatch is where Muselk built his foothold on the creator space. His wacky videos with a healthy dose of experimenting in a time before the workshop went viral. It also helped he was semi-decent at the game too, brushing shoulders with pros and top players constantly and competing at OWWC. However, as Overwatch fell off, Fortnite was just starting. It was a perfect situation — Muselk could continue to focus himself on content creation instead of having to contend with the idea of returning to university. “I got kind of lucky with the timing of every game I’ve ever really covered,” he laughed. “With TF2 for example, I was making videos on that for three years before Overwatch. By that point, I started to run out of content. You’ve got a set number of lego blocks, and you can rebuild it in a certain number of ways, but you start back tracking on things you’ve done. That’s what happens when you do daily videos for a couple of years — I’ve done everything, there’s no video idea you haven’t already covered. “I was blessed to always have a new game to move into. In games like Overwatch they never add content. With Fortnite they do a pretty incredible job in keeping things fresh and adding new content, which gives you more videos.” That doesn’t guarantee the success of Fortnite now and into the future though. Chapter 3 has been mega successful for Epic with their seemingly-infinite crossovers with everything from Marvel to League of Legends. That could all crumble overnight — it’s the cutthroat nature of the industry. Attention spans are short. Trends fleet in and out. In 2020 it was Among Us. The next viral sensation probably isn’t even out yet — or might only have a few hundred viewers on Twitch and a small, dedicated YouTube audience. While Muselk professes work-life balance, the nature of the industry is high-stress, and you have to be constantly chasing the next trend else you’ll end up becoming irrelevant. “Obviously I love doing what I’m doing, but I think it’s hard because you’re always on the lookout for cool new things you can make content with,” he admitted. “The good thing with the games industry is you never know when that’s going to come. I could see it with TF2 to Overwatch, but most games that end up taking over the world — very few do you see coming. Minecraft, Fortnite, Among Us, every game that becomes a viral content sensation always comes out of nowhere. “Something like Call of Duty is never going to go back to its highs, so the next hit usually comes from nothing.” If he was to place his bets on something though: “Probably like GTA 6, but god knows when Rockstar is going to release that.” The future of content creation Muselk has grown past content creation, now heading up the Click Management talent agency in Australia. The brand has gone through numerous renditions over the years, including a gaming house that ended after just a few months, but it achieved one goal Watkins set out on after making his name on YouTube: giving opportunities to future Australian stars. “When we first started it, the goal was to push YouTube content in Australia. There was literally no one [helping] and if I talked to others, they’d say the same. It’s been very rewarding to build out a service and do things that are helpful to a creator starting out,” he said. It’s not just the games that are evolving though. It’s the platforms creators are promoting themselves on. Muselk isn’t much of a livestreamer — although he is increasingly getting involved and professes a lot of respect for those who do it full-time. However, the future is in short-form videos like TikTok or YouTube Shorts and not the 10-minute algorithm pleasers. “The explosion of TikTok and shorts and all those things really plays off the ADHD we’ve all got today, but it’s definitely becoming a huge medium. All the content platforms are starting to realise this is what everyone is making and watching, and the space is really evolving,” he explained. For Watkins, it’s easy to look back in retrospect and admire the rise and rise. The end result has been the result of hard work — and a bit of luck — but there’s no intention of slowing down anytime soon in the creator space. However, there was never the expectation to make it here, which makes the success that much sweeter. So, if he could go back to the start and tell his younger self something, he wouldn’t give too much advice in making it big. He just wants to enjoy the ride again, just like he’s done for the last eight years. “That’s hard. ‘Holy sh*t, what a ride, strap in’ is what I’d say, probably something along those lines,” he laughed.

  • Multiple Twitch Users Given 24 Hour Bans for Clipping Copyrighted Content [UPDATED] – Dexerto

Multiple Twitch Users Given 24 Hour Bans for Clipping Copyrighted Content [UPDATED] A number of Twitch users – who do not stream themselves – have been given 24 hour bans on the website after using the ‘clip’ feature and clipping a moment which contained copyrighted content. Twitch allows users to ‘clip’ moments from live streams, saving them as short videos up to 60 seconds long and making them shareable on other websites. The feature is available as standard for all Twitch users and has become the number one way to share Twitch content around the web, capturing highlights (and lowlights) from streamer’s broadcasts. Responsibility for the content contained in these clips still lies with the streamer themselves – that is until now, as multiple Twitch users have been sent emails citing DMCA infringements and subsequently being given 24 hour bans. As one such user explains on Reddit: Apparently clips are considered my content and are copyrighted material and can be DMCA and shut down my account. I got 24 hour suspension on my account that I’m subbed to 4 different streamers [on]. So basically Streamers can DMCA a twitch feature if they want to (removing clips is perfectly fine and fair) but shutting down viewers accounts for using a feature ? that is wrong on so many levels. And later, others also reported having received the same emails, suspending their accounts. This post on the official Twitch Reddit shows the email which was sent to the account holder who had made a clip. Update: Twitch Support has now clarified that these suspensions were in fact made in error, and that no strikes have been applied to the affected channels. We have resolved an issue that was incorrectly notifying the clip creator of a copyright infringement, as opposed to the broadcaster. No strikes have been added to the affected clip creator accounts. — Twitch Support (@TwitchSupport) July 4, 2018 The speculation currently is that these clips contained copyrighted music, which the streamer was playing. However, rather than the streamer themselves receiving the punishment, it has mistakenly handed to the account which made a clip. These suspensions seem to be treating the account which made the clip as a ‘broadcaster’, rather than a viewer. They even link to the clip which they call “affected content”, although the clips are now removed, presumably due to the supposed copyright infringement.

  • MultiVersus hype abound as new fighting game has huge break on Twitch – Dexerto

MultiVersus hype abound as new fighting game has huge break on Twitch WB GamesMultiVersus is taking over Twitch. The new free-to-play fighting game is a real contender in becoming a gaming staple after boasting an impressive first fortnight on the platform, and momentum may even push it past competitors in the space. The Twitch stats for July 2022 are in, and MultiVersus‘ rapid growth is something to behold. Having only released on July 19, the game realistically only had the last third of the month to rack in views. Despite such a disadvantage it’s already reached 13,843,696 hours watched — right on track to make a big splash in August. MultiVersus appeals to both the casual and try hard gamers. The ranked mode caters towards more competitive oriented players, while the incredibly vast roster of characters is good fun for anyone familiar with the cartoons. After all, what other game allows players to control Lebron James, Batman and Shaggy? To add onto the appeal, the game is free to play and boasts cross platform play and progression. This makes the game very easy to pick up and play — it’s no wonder so many big name streamers, such as xQc, Toast, and HungryBox have been actively streaming the game. The developers add regular patch updates and character releases, ensuring the gameplay remains fresh. These updates are great for the game’s longevity, as it shows the MultiVersus’ capability to create a growing appetite for the game’s content. MultiVersus’ rise on Twitch isn’t quite comparable to Lost Ark or Elden Ring, but there’s potential in the multiplayer fighting game to slowly rise up the platform and challenge direct competitors like Smash Ultimate. It also still has a long way to go in contesting some of Twitch’s biggest games — League of Legends, the number one game in July 2022, boasted nearly 10 times the watch time with 121 million hours. For this early on though, there’s plenty to be hopeful about if you’re just sinking your teeth into MultiVersus.

Multiple streamers claim Twitch is withholding money and won’t respond Twitch / PixabayMultiple Twitch streamers claim that they have money being held by the streaming platform, and can’t get customer support to respond or explain why or when they’ll be getting paid. Things have been rough for Twitch as of late, with one of their biggest streamers Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins leaving to exclusively stream for their competitor Mixer. Now two streamers claim Twitch is withholding some of their money, and won’t respond even after contacting its customer service multiple times. pilavpowa claims his sub money is being withheld On August 2, streamer Stefan ‘pilavpowa’ Simić posted on Twitter that he had allegedly been trying to contact Twitch for three months, after being unable to add a payment method to receive his sub money. “So when I try to add payment method on twitch to receive subscription money I get this message ‘If you wish to edit your details please contact support.’ Then I did just that and reply was most confusing thing ever. So for 3 months now where does this money go @TwitchSupport” he tweeted. During a broadcast on August 4, Minecraft streamer ‘Xisuma’ opened up to his audience where he claimed he was unable to get ahold of Twitch customer service about money they were holding of his. “I have a tax issue, where they are holding back a load of my money. And I can’t do anything about it. Because it doesn’t matter how many emails I send.” The British streamer vented his frustrations to his audience, and said he felt that Twitch customer service had been “stripped back” and gotten worse over time. “Now it used to be that I could ring up, or send an email, and get a reply pretty much in a day or two. And I would be speaking to someone, and they would be able to help me with my problem. Twitch has actually stripped back it’s customer support over time. You can’t get ahold of anyone.” he said. Dexerto has reached out to Twitch for comment on the allegations.

  • Multiple Twitch outages causing streams lags, chat malfunctions, more – Dexerto

Multiple Twitch outages causing streams lags, chat malfunctions, more TwitchTwitch has been experiencing a string of technical difficulties across major facets of the site including its front page, lag on individual channels, as well as errors with the chat function, with more people reporting issues. Since mid December 2020 and into the new year, Twitch users have been reporting site errors from small hiccups to the site being entirely down at times. While these issues have been brief in duration, they’ve been affecting multiple people at the same time. “We are working to resolve the issues causing the site not loading correctly. Thank you for your patience,” the Twitch support page said on January 2. It had once again gone down for some people before picking back up again. This has been a recurring theme for the site. There’s been three major occurrences in the last seven days that’s been a focal point of discussion among the community. 🛠️ We have recovered from the issue that prevented the site from loading correctly, and we’re going to continue monitoring the situation. Thank you all for your continued patience and we apologize for the disruption. — Twitch Support (@TwitchSupport) January 2, 2021 These errors come in light of reports of increased ads for people who use the uBlock Origin plugin and the prevailing notion is that these outages are the result of Twitch’s ongoing fight against these programs. “You may be using a third party tool or browser extension that is impacting site performance. For the Twitch experience, head over to Twitch.tv and support the stream,” the Twitch notification sent out to some users read. It should also be noted that the platform has been increasingly implementing new add ons and experimental features to Twitch which could also be affecting the performance of the site. These outages can affect streamer and viewer alike. A large part of Twitch’s strength is the live feedback between those broadcasting and those watching. Disconnections and errors that prevent features, like Twitch Chat, can derail entire channels and create a frustrating experience for everyone involved. It’s unclear how long these interruptions will persist since they’ve yet to let up and have been increasing in regularity for some time now. As the site continues to troubleshoot its problems, people are keeping an eye out for any more interruptions on Twitch similar to the ones that have been occurring so far.

  • Mukbang YouTuber devastated as cheese fondue attempt ends in disaster – Dexerto

Mukbang YouTuber devastated as cheese fondue attempt ends in disaster YouTube: Tasty HoonA mukbang YouTuber called Tasty Hoon is going hugely viral after his attempt at putting cheese in a fondue machine went hilariously wrong, leaving him and his viewers bewildered. [jwplayer smynPnSq] In recent years, the mukbang format has garnered insane popularity, spreading to just about every corner of the internet. The video style originated in Korea, the word mukbang (먹방) being a portmanteau of the Korean words for eat, and broadcast. It involves the host of the video or stream eating an enormous amount of food on camera, often with a high-quality microphone to capture the raw eating sounds (a big part of the fun for some,) while interacting with their audience. While the eating show format has spread globally, Korea is often revered as having the best mukbangs of them all, the ambitious amounts of food and varying cuisines proving to be hugely entertaining for the droves of people who love that style of content. Tasty Hoon is one such YouTuber who wanted to give the mouthwatering content a go, making his attempt at a cheese fondue machine paired with fried chicken. But the results weren’t quite as dreamy as he perhaps expected. After pouring the delicious-looking melted cheese into the bottom of the fondue machine everything was looking to be going to plan, but the second he hit the on-button, it seemed to be struggling a bit with the rather thick cheese. Things quickly took a turn for the worse when the center of the machine start to actually lift off from the device altogether, and globs of cheese started to spin around at frightening speeds. As parts of the machine started to fall off, the cheese did not stop spinning, until eventually every bit of the previously delicious looking stuff had been flung across the room. Topic starts at 1:01 As Hoon finally turned the machine off, it wasn’t quite clear whether he was on the brink of laughter or tears – though understandably it was most likely both. But not one to be beaten by a haywire fondue machine, he picked bits of the once airborne cheese off the table and began to eat it alongside his chicken. Just not in the way that he’d originally intended. The clip went crazy on Twitter, with one tweet sharing the food disaster garnering a whopping 370,000 likes and 114,000 retweets. Thinking about the guy that put cheese in a chocolate fountain pic.twitter.com/jZQ1krWcvI — Parker (@panoparker) October 29, 2020 In the comments, Hoon thanked everyone for enjoying the video and remarked that he was surprised to wake up and find he’d become a star overnight. He also hinted that he’d give the cheese fountain another try soon, so no doubt people are anticipating what could be an equally hilarious sequel.

Multiple High Profile Streamers Including Daequan and KittyPlays Receive Temporary Bans on Twitch [UPDATED] UPDATE: TSM pro player Daequan’s Twitch suspension was reversed so that he could play in Friday Fortnite – Read More YouTuber KEEMSTAR has been attempting to get other banned streamers reinstated on Twitch. The Twitch community sat back in shock on Friday June 22nd after learning that a number of high profile streamers received 24-hour bans. Amazon’s streaming platform has had rules in place for streamers using music without permission, with the VoD’s usually muted for the period of time that it violated the rule. That looks to have now changed. A number of high profile streamers logged on to their accounts on Friday June 22nd to find they had been banned via DMCA (digital millennium copyright act) takedown. KittyPlays came third in the Fortnite Pro-Am tournament and has a sizable audience who watch her play a variety of different games. Kitty Tweeted out on Friday, June 22nd a notice that advised her account had received a 24-hour ban. It’s believed that other people to receive bans including TSM’s Daequan and Avery. Whelp. • MTG confirms winners will be announced for $50k MrBeast challenge – Dexerto

MTG confirms winners will be announced for $50k MrBeast challenge Instagram: MrBeast, Wizards of the CoastJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson and Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering competition appears to have gone awry, as no MTG player has emerged as the recipient of the prize money. Wizards have since assured fans that winners will be announced. YouTube’s resident philanthropist and superstar, MrBeast, joined the official Friday Night Magic MTG stream on behalf of Wizards of the Coast, where he challenged players to knock him off his pedestal. Two of these lucky players would win $25,000, meaning that a total of $50,000 was up for grabs during the event. It appears, however, that no winner has been announced and, in turn, no money collected despite the event taking place on 23 April. This has led some to believe that the event itself was not intended to have a winner, and was instead a scam. MTG players claim Wizards X MrBeast was a scam In a recent Reddit thread, one player has claimed to have reached out to Wizards to get a copy of the winners for the MrBeast event. They were given the idea by another Redditor, who hadn’t gotten a response to their enquiry. They write that “over a month ago, I came across a thread in which someone pointed out that you could ask for the list of the winners of the MrBeast event, and that they were still waiting on an answer while having made their request 2 weeks before. That got me curious, so I decided to also email them on May 25.” From here, they sent a request as per the company’s official instructions and claim that, as of June 28, no reply has been received. “Point 14 of the event’s rules (very bottom of the page) states that individuals can send a request at https://prizelogic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us?id=013107 before the June 23 in order to get a copy of the winners list. So I did that – one month before the deadline – but to this day, still no answer! The only thing that’s in my mailbox is the email confirming that my ticket was sent and received.” The person who initially brought up the confusing situation has responded to this comment, noting that: “I am probably the OP of the thread you mentioned and I can confirm, that I also haven’t got any further response from them after the initial confirmation that they received my request. I updated my ticket after 2 weeks with no response and one week later but didn’t receive anything.” They clarify that they’ve also tried to reach out on other platforms, but all to no avail. This bizarre sequence of events has led to many players believing that the event was never supposed to have a winner from the start, therefore making it a scam. “In my opinion, the giveaway was flawed from the start (or intentionally designed to have a big chance of no winner at all) because there was most likely a big number of ineligible participants, either by age or country of residence. And each winner had a period of 10 or 14 days (not sure anymore) to claim the prize and if no one claims the prize, they MAY look for another winner, which they might do once but if no winners are found in the second round, I doubt they will try again to find another winner.” Comment byu/Naerlyn from discussion inMagicArena Many of the respondents to the thread, however, want that this judgment may be premature, with one considering the possibility that “something went wrong and then instead of fixing it, they covered it up,” before calling the idea of the competition as being the front for a scam “unlikely.” Wizards of the Coast respond After reaching out for comment, Wizards of the Coast have assured Dexerto that winners have been selected and will be announced soon. They informed us that “we do have two winners for the NM at Home: Featuring MrBeast event, and we will be announcing them publicly soon.” So for those hoping to catch a glimpse of the lucky winners, all will be revealed in due time!

  • Muhammad Ali’s grandson reveals massive Jake Paul fight offer – Dexerto

Muhammad Ali’s grandson reveals massive Jake Paul fight offer Instagram/jakepaulThe grandson of the greatest boxer who ever lived, Muhammad Ali, revealed he turned down a very lucrative fight offer to take on Jake Paul. On June 29, 2024, Nico Ali Walsh emerged victorious against his opponent, Sona Akale, despite dislocating his shoulder during the bout. In a post-fight interview, announced he had the opportunity to take on Jaul Paul. Walsh took aim at the event’s headline fighter, Teofimo Lopez, and claimed that he was only boxing because he was “desperate for money and fame.” “I just wanna let everyone know that I chose the path of boxing, I chose the path of legacy. If I wanted to, I could be a millionaire right now,” Walsh explained. “Before this fight, I denied a multi-million-dollar contract from MVP Promotions, to fight Jake Paul.” Jake Paul has been tearing up the boxing scene since his arrival, having secured victories against numerous former UFC stars such as Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. On July 20, he’s set to battle Mike Perry, who is stepping in for Mike Tyson. As for why Walsh turned down the offer, it turns out it’s because he has a negative opinion of the influencer boxing scene. “I’m not a part of that circus league of boxing. This is the real league of boxing and this is what I’m gonna do,” he said. While it may not look like Muhammad Ali’s grandson will be stepping into the ring with Jake Paul anytime soon, ‘The Problem Child’ has his share of foes lined up. After his scheduled bout with Mike Perry in July, Paul is set to finally take on Mike Tyson on November 15, in what will be Netflix’s first-ever live boxing event. The 27-year-old boxer is also convinced that if he keeps up his success in the ring, he’ll become a boxing champion by 2025.

In the time since the original Planet of the Bass video went viral, the person who played Ms. Biljana Electronica in the initial viral hit was revealed to be one Audrey Trullinger, someone who was asked last-minute to help Kyle Gordon (aka DJ Crazy Times) film the hit video. That original has since gone on to garner hundreds of millions of views across multiple social media platforms and has, in a way, taken over as 2023’s summer anthem. Now, after being replaced by two separate on-screen Ms. Biljana Electronicas, Trullinger is finally back and better than ever. The wait has been worth it, and fans are elated. Ms. Biljana Electronica is back and fans are elated Backlash was swift when DJ Crazy Times (aka Kyle Gordon) filmed music videos with women who weren’t the “real” Ms. Biljana Electronica following the breakout hit. They wanted her energy back. It’s hard to deny her energy is infectious, and, though there are those who liked the replacement co-stars that appeared alongside DJ Crazy Times, fans almost unanimously hoped that they’d get to see Trullinger’s take on the character. DJ Crazy Times announced he’d be releasing a full music video, and, sure enough, Biljana made her return in its full release. The production value is far beyond that of previous videos, with tongue-in-cheek, so-bad-it’s-good special effects breathing new life into the song along with its fully fleshed-out lyrics. The best part for many was Biljana appearing in her original outfit at one point in the video, giving fans of the original a nod while giving her a new role in the overall story of the Planet of the Bass. There is now truly nothing to be sad.” commented ExplosmEntertainment, the channel behind the Cyanide and Happiness animated shorts. JacksFilms also chimed in saying that it was “WORTH THE WAIT”. • MrBeast’s YouTube empire valued at $20bn by finance expert Valuetainment – Dexerto

MrBeast’s YouTube empire valued at $20bn by finance expert Valuetainment YouTube: Casey NeistatMrBeast’s YouTube empire has been valued at roughly $10-20 billion by finance expert and entrepreneur Valuetainment following revelations that the YouTube star turned down $1 billion for his channel. Known for his crazy, philanthropic videos, which sometimes can set him back millions to produce, Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is a name many will be familiar with by now. Amassing over 110 million subscribers to date on his main channel alone, there are a ton of eyes on just about anything he does — making his brand extremely valuable. And with brands under his name like his very own food chain MrBeast Burger, and even his own chocolate bar Feastables — which is now sold in every Walmart across the States — it’s fair to say he’s one of the biggest creators in the world. In fact, the YouTube star recently revealed he turned down an offer of $1 billion for his YouTube channel and brands. Admitting that the offer was “enticing” at first, MrBeast believes there’s more to be done, and has a more ambitious price tag of $10-20 billion on his mind before considering putting it up for sale. Valuetainment values MrBeast’s YouTube channel at $20 billion While many believe turning down an offer like that is absurd, finance expert and media entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David from Valuetainment believes it was the right call. During a recent podcast episode, the expert gave his thoughts on the offer, where he revealed that the $10-20 billion that MrBeast is hoping for might not be unrealistic. The entrepreneur made an example out of the Super Bowl, where the average 30-second commercial costs roughly $5 million. While it has the potential to be seen by 100 million viewers, MrBeast’s most popular video boasts an impressive 300 million views to date, which would mean a minute-long advertisement is worth around $50 million according to the expert. And thanks to his dubbed language channels, MrBeast’s videos have the potential to be seen by millions more around the world. Taking into consideration the average cost of a Super Bowl commercial, and then comparing it to MrBeast’s staggering 17 billion all-time views, Patrick concluded that his main channel alone is worth $850M at a minimum. While full details on the proposed deal remain tight-lipped, Valuetainment ultimately agreed that his MrBeast’s ambitious evaluation isn’t far from reality when accounting for the entire brand. “I think he’s right, 10-20 billion dollars is the right number.”

  • MrBeast’s YouTube record toppled by Will Smith Chris Rock slap moment – Dexerto

MrBeast’s YouTube record toppled by Will Smith Chris Rock slap moment Instagram: mrbeast / YouTube: The GuardianMrBeast’s record of getting the most views on a YouTube video in a single day has been toppled by a clip of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars. On March 27, 2022, the entire world was left floored after actor Will Smith walked onto the stage at the 94th Academy Awards Ceremony to slap comedian Chris Rock in the face. The altercation appeared to have been sparked after Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, notably comparing her look for the evening to that of movie heroine GI Jane. Uncensored audio from the incident shows Will Smith yelling at Chris Rock to “Keep my wife’s name out your f**king mouth” after returning to his seat. The slap instantly went mega-viral online, taking over social media and spawning hundreds of memes in the process. While the entire ordeal was totally unexpected at such a prestigious event, no one anticipated that Smith’s viral slap would topple a major YouTube record, to boot. In November 2021, YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson managed to break records on the site by scoring the most views on a non-music or trailer video in a 24 hour period. Will Smith’s viral Oscars slap breaks YouTube records The video in question was his highly anticipated rendition of Netflix’s Squid Game, which received a jaw-dropping 42.6 million views in just a day’s time after being uploaded. That’s not all; it was also the fastest non-music video ever to reach 100 million views, crashing the record in a four-day span. As a result of his viral project, MrBeast also broke yet another record for the most subscribers gained in one day, garnering over 1.4 million subscribers in 24 hours. .@MrBeast’s Squid Game is breaking records: ✅Most views in a day – non-music/trailer/rewind (42.6M) ✅Fastest non-music video to reach 100 million views (+ he’s on track to beat the record for most subs gained in 30 days(9.1M) — Reed (@Reedjd) November 29, 2021 However, it looks as though one of MrBeast’s records has now been effectively quashed as a result of Will Smith’s slap at the 2022 Oscars. A clip of the altercation posted by The Guardian has now racked up over 48 million views after being posted 16 hours ago. MrBeast has yet to respond to this shift in the ranks, but overall, his YouTube records are still climbing; in fact, he’s set to overtake YouTube king Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg if his current subscriber count continues to rise.

  • MrBeast’s Twitter/X video accused of being “undisclosed ad” to boost views – Dexerto

MrBeast’s Twitter/X video accused of being “undisclosed ad” to boost views MrBeastMrBeast has uploaded his latest video to Twitter/X, and users on the site are accusing it of being an “undisclosed ad” to inflate views. With over 233M subscribers, Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson is the world’s biggest single YouTuber and doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. His latest video, $1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car, was uploaded onto Twitter/X in its entirety after MrBeast was influenced by CEO Elon Musk to see how many views one of his videos would do on the site. However, the MrBeast clip has been accused of being an “undisclosed ad” to inflate views as people are seeing it show up in their timelines more than usual. MrBeast’s Twitter/X video views may be inflated In the days after the video was uploaded, many took notice of the fact that they saw MrBeast’s tweet on the timeline more than usual. One user, Ryan Broderick, said that he’s heard several reports of the video being shown in the timeline more often than not. “MrBeast’s video is clearly being promoted as an undisclosed ad across the platform to juice its numbers,” he said. Many others took to their pages to share the same thoughts, including YouTuber Roman Atwood. “This is being served to me every time I open the app,” he said. However, it’s not uncommon for monetized videos on the platform to get a boost in views across Twitter/X. With the pre-roll ad on MrBeast’s video, it also gets priority on the timeline. Not to mention, nearly every Twitter/X employee, including CEO Elon Musk, has retweeted Donaldson’s upload. Just Musk alone has 168M followers on the site, which translates to tens of millions of views on all of his tweets. His quote-retweet has been viewed over 58M times as of writing. As for how much revenue MrBeast is going to make from the clip — we’re going to have to wait to see, as Jimmy says he’ll share after the video has been up for a full week.

  • MrBeast’s viral Squid Game video slammed for “plagiarism” of hit Netflix show – Dexerto

MrBeast’s viral Squid Game video slammed for “plagiarism” of hit Netflix show YouTube: MrBeast / NetflixOn November 24, YouTube star ‘MrBeast’ released his own version of Netflix’s hit show, ‘Squid Game’ — and while it’s garnered over 110 million views in under a week, not everyone is pleased by the creator’s latest project. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators. The YouTuber is known for orchestrating massive videos with outrageous challenges … and a generous cash prize for those who participate. This generosity is also what’s raised MrBeast to internet stardom; alongside his ambitious “challenge-style” videos, the influencer has given away millions of dollars to people in need throughout his career, and even founded his own charity food bank funded by his YouTube channels. That being said, his past successes are being widely overshadowed by his latest undertaking — a $3.5 million recreation of Netflix’s hit Korean thriller ‘Squid Game.’ The highly-anticipated video instantly became a viral hit, earning millions of views mere hours after being uploaded. MrBeast’s Squid Game video comes under fire Despite the video’s major success (as well as a high demand for the video from fans), MrBeast’s Squid Game is coming under fire on social media for what some critics are claiming is cheap “plagiarism” from Hwang Dong-hyuk’s international hit. Several commenters have hit out at the recreation, with some pointing out the ‘creator economy’ is making cheap imitations of someone’s hard work and profiting exponentially from it. “So the promise of the creator economy is that you can spend 10 years of your life making something so that someone else can quickly parody it and get more views?” one commenter wrote. https://twitter.com/sarahcpr/status/1465356306542432267?s=20 “In other news, plagiarism is way faster than original writing, and much easier,” another said. MrBeast has not responded to this latest criticism of his video.

  • MrBeast’s TeamTrees has finally planted 20 million trees – Dexerto

MrBeast’s TeamTrees has finally planted 20 million trees MrBeast, YouTubeYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has made history after his TeamTrees collaborative fundraiser finally reached its goal of planting 20 million trees worldwide. TeamTrees first embarked on its mission in 2019, raising over $20 million in charitable donations by early 2020 to take on the task. Famously, Elon Musk made a hefty donation towards the cause, with the Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur pledging the funds to cover one million trees. He is the second-highest donor to date, behind Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke. TeamTrees was also backed by Marc Benioff, Plants vs. Zombies, Scott Chacon, and ELF Development A/S – all of which appear in the ‘most planted‘ rankings. On October 25, 2022 – three years later – the organization’s leading content creator announced to the world they had finally reached the summit. MrBeast TeamTrees celebrates after planting 20M trees MrBeast broke the news – and in some respects, the internet – using his Twitter account. The post recorded over 20,000 likes in the first hour. He said: “After three long years, the 20,000,000 trees from TeamTrees have officially been planted.” The location and amount of trees per location can be accessed using the organization’s official website. Their records state trees 150,000 were planted in British Columbia, Canada, 100,000 in California, United States, and the list goes on. The larger numbers show over one million have been planted across Mozambique and 905,000 in India – illustrating the scale and impact of TeamTrees’ accomplishment. In every corner of planet Earth, TeamTrees has delivered on its mission to plant trees native to the environments that needed support, crowning a quite historic achievement – one that many other YouTubers may not have believed to be possible when Donaldson first announced the ambitious climate conservation effort in 2019.

  • MrBeast’s manager explains how MrBeast Burger & restaurants were picked – Dexerto

MrBeast’s manager explains how MrBeast Burger & restaurants were picked YouTube/Creator EconomicsReed Duchscher, the manager for YouTuber superstar ‘MrBeast’, revealed some details regarding the inception of MrBeast Burger, how restaurant locations were chosen, and the future of the franchise. MrBeast Burger took the internet by storm in December as the YouTuber’s chain emerged seemingly out of nowhere with 300 locations people could order from in the United States. While fans still have to order off food delivery apps such as UberEats, Doordash, Grubhub, or Postmates, there is a good chance that physical locations could be coming soon. In an interview with Blake Robbins, Duchscher explained how the idea for MrBeast Burger came from, how the locations were picked, and ultimately why they opted to go with burgers. https://www.instagram.com/p/CI_tAhdBs9c/ According to Duchscher, MrBeast Burger was in the works for over a year and even though the global health crisis may make people think otherwise, the plan was originally never to open physical stores. “Although now with the success, I think we will,” the manager hinted and noted that partnering with smaller restaurants was part of the plan. On the topic of how the restaurant locations were chosen, Duchscher revealed that they looked at MrBeast’s YouTube channel to see what cities had the most watch-time and opted for the biggest ones. From there, virtual dining concepts went out and partnered with existing restaurants in those areas. With 300 locations currently, the plan going forward in 2021 is to scale, but with that comes its own set of challenges. Finally, when it came down to deciding what to serve, MrBeast wanted to do something simple and non-complex, which ruled out burritos or sushi. “We wanted to make a simple product that other restaurants could easily make if they had the ingredients,” he explained. “So we ultimately decided on a burger.” It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for the chain in the next few months and how the team decides to expand. Who knows – the next time you’re in the mood for a burger, maybe you could be pulling into the drive-thru of a true physical MrBeast Burger location.

  • MrBeast’s latest campaign is actually helping PewDiePie beat T-Series in the battle for YouTube supremacy – Dexerto

MrBeast’s latest campaign is actually helping PewDiePie beat T-Series in the battle for YouTube supremacy PewDiePie | T-Series | MrBeastThe last ditch effort from MrBeast to help PewDiePie defeat T-Series in the battle for YouTube supremacy appears to actually be working! MrBeast, who has 11 million subscribers on the platform himself, has been attempting to help the current king of YouTube to fend off the advances of T-Series, an Indian music label that uploads multiple Bollywood music videos each day. First, MrBeast put together an advert campaign to get people to subscribe to PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, and it temporarily allowed the Swedish star to pull away, but not for long. The Indian channel’s constant uploads and channel growth made it clear to anyone that was taking notice that PewDiePie would be dethroned before the end of November, but MrBeast once again came to his rescue on November 25… by saying ‘PewDiePie’ 100,000 times! It took MrBeast almost 12 hours to complete the challenge, and he even announced new ‘ranks’ in the ‘bro army’ of PewDiePie supporters which included General rank for anyone that put ‘subscribe to PewDiePie’ on their social media and convinced their whole class and family to subscribe! While MrBeast’s increasingly entertaining and bizarre efforts to help Pewds stay ahead of T-Series have been fun to watch, it may come as a surprise to hear that they also appear to be working, and working well! MrBeast’s video of the YouTube stream has performed well on the platform, crossing four million views by November 27, and PewDiePie’s gap over T-Series has also increased from under 100,000 to over 250,000 and becoming the first YouTuber to break the 72 million subscribers mark! And MrBeast isn’t finished there! The YouTuber has already suggested that he will purchase a Super Bowl commercial if PewDiePie can stay ahead for long enough. He also revealed that he wanted to travel to India and set up a similar ad campaign to the one that he ran in the United States. At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised by anything! Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is the single most-subscribed independent creator on YouTube. Lately, he’s been on a tear with his recent uploads, breaking records left and right on the platform. On August 5, Donaldson uploaded a video where he and his crew were effectively ‘lost at sea’ for seven days. The upload broke YouTube’s record for most views gained in 24 hours for a non-music video and went viral across social media. However, on August 17, fans noticed that the video had suddenly gone missing. Users were met with a message that read, “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Tsuriel Design.” Viewers were quick to notice an interaction on Twitter that seems to have been the reason for the copyright claim. MrBeast video copyright claimed over unlicensed animation In response to a post where MrBeast celebrated breaking a YouTube record, a user named Tsuriel Designs noticed that someone on MrBeast’s team seemingly used one of their animations without first getting their permission. “Hey!” they wrote in a tweet on August 6. “It looks like someone on the editing team took my animation for this video without compensation or permission.” The animation in question is a two-second clip of a smartphone button changing from a moon to a sun in order to denote the changing of the days for MrBeast’s ‘stranded’ crew. The copyright claim has sparked quite the conversation online, with many viewers debating the ethics of claiming an entire video over a two-second animation. Thus far, Tsuriel Designs has yet to publish a response to the situation, leaving fans upset that MrBeast’s viral video isn’t available to watch. This is just the latest drama MrBeast has found himself in after he called out scammers for using his name and branding to con fans out of money.

  • MrBeast’s “free bank” leaves woman in tears – Dexerto

MrBeast’s “free bank” leaves woman in tears Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is a popular face on YouTube, known for giving out huge amounts of cash to strangers – and one of these philanthropic enterprises left a woman in tears. MrBeast, dubbed the “Good Samaritan” of YouTube, often gives away oodles of cash under the guise of particular challenges, such as awarding a hefty prize to any one of his friends who could stay inside a small circle the longest without leaving. However, his more recent pursuits have been purely altruistic, such as his video where he gave away free cars at a dealership of his own making. This time, MrBeast opted for a “free bank,” where instead of taking out loans or withdrawing money from their checking accounts, customers received cash with no strings attached for the holiday season. One of the YouTuber’s “customers” was a woman who hadn’t had the chance to visit home in thirty years – an understandable predicament, as tickets to Hawaii can run fairly expensive from the mainland United States. In an incredible show of charity, MrBeast and crew originally opted for a $3,500 budget for her trip to the islands – but ended up giving her $4,501 for good measure. This understandably left her quite emotional, but she wasn’t the only recipient to break down over the giveaway: another woman broke into tears after receiving a whopping $7,000 from the group, who revealed that her husband had recently suffered from a near-fatal heart attack. “Y’all don’t know the month that we’ve had,” the woman sobbed. “My husband had a heart attack about a month ago. He died the next day and they shocked him back to life, and we’ve been trying to make ends meet and pay the bills and take care of our kids.” “Wow,” MrBeast replied, wiping a tear from his eye. “I don’t know what to say.” While this is just a Tuesday for the YouTuber and his crew, there’s no mistaking that his videos put a great amount of good into the world, as evidenced by the emotional reactions from those he was able to help with his “free bank” as the holidays draw near.

With close to 100M subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast is among the best content creators on the platform. When it comes to his videos, he’s undoubtedly owning the game with his ambitious projects that continue to get bigger and bigger. Many will recall Donaldson’s impressive Squid Game recreation, which was the fastest non-music video to reach 100 million views, and also helped him break the record for most subscribers gained in one day. Arguably more remarkable, the philanthropic YouTuber has revealed his real-life Star Wars lightsaber, and fans have some entertaining ideas of what he should do with it. While just about anyone can buy a replica lightsaber, YouTuber Hacksmith Industries went viral in late 2020 with his real-life lightsaber that can “cut through literally anything” as it reaches a high temperature of 4000°F (2200°C) Now, MrBeast has his hands on it as showcased in an April 1 tweet where he revealed his new toy that would make any kid or Star Wars fan jealous. Others were just shocked that MrBeast owned an actual working lightsaber: “I’m sorry did you just say working lightsaber?” Whatever Jimmy decides to do with the lightsaber, we can only expect it to be outrageous and up to par with his other fascinating videos.

Dexerto was able to talk with Feastables’ Head of Product and Growth Ben Acott to help clarify why people seem to be losing so frequently. He also provided insight into how the sweepstakes work and what are the chances of actually winning. Feastables is a numbers game of pure chance Customers have started claiming that the Feastables sweepstakes is rigged due to the number of consecutive losses they incur. But Acott explains that the sweepstakes are “impossible to hack or rig.” Winning a prize is “pure chance” and the astronomical number of bars sold and codes redeemed make it highly unlikely you’ll win. Of the $1million prize pool, Acott reports that just over $436k in prizes have been distributed. Over 35,000 people have received Feastables prizes ranging from merch, candy bars, Beast Burger codes, Beats by Dre, and $10k in cash. This sounds promising, but here’s where the stats reveal how low the odds of winning are. Without giving a specific number, Acott stated that millions of bars have been sold over the last five weeks. Of those bars, less than 200k codes have been redeemed. Without the exact number of codes entered and prizes won, we can’t calculate the actual chance of winning. However, with the data given, each code has roughly a 17% chance of winning a prize. But, you have a 100% chance of being entered in the grand prize drawing. Feastables grand prize details Each code entered is not only a chance to win an Instant Win prize but also acts as an entry into Sweepstakes drawings. These drawings are how the winners of the larger prizes are determined e.g. competing in a MrBeast video, a Tesla Model 3, and SeaDoos. “We have 4 drawings of these sweepstakes which are completely randomized,” stated Acott, “We wish we could give every entrant a prize, but it’s simply a numbers game.” The biggest prize up for grabs is one of 10 spots in an upcoming MrBeast video. All 10 competitors are randomly selected via the Feastables sweepstakes and will compete to own MrBeast’s chocolate factory. At the time of writing, two contestants have been selected. With the number of bars sold and codes redeemed increasing, the chances of being one of the final eight selected are shrinking. You can see a list of Feastables prizes still up for grabs here. • MrBeast’s former editor accuses YouTube star of bullying – Dexerto

MrBeast’s former editor accuses YouTube star of bullying YouTube: MrBeastA video editor who was previously employed by YouTube star Jimmy ‘Mr Beast’ Donaldson has made a series of allegations against the American content creator, claiming that he was “bullied” during his time working for him. Mr Beast is one of the most popular YouTubers in the world, with 24 million subscribers, and millions of views on each of his videos in which he performs crazy challenges and hands out thousands of dollars to other content creators and members of the general public. An editor who formerly worked with the 21-year-old has now made allegations against Mr Beast, claiming that he was bullied and told he was replaceable. He also says he suffered from mental breakdowns and makes several more allegations regarding his time working for the YouTuber. Matt ‘Turnur’ Turner originally announced that he had parted company with Mr Beast back in August 2018 citing a “mutual split” between the pair, but in a series of tweets on October 6, 2019, the editor made a number of accusations against his former employer. “That was the most mentally draining time of my life,” wrote Turner on Twitter. “I was yelled at, bullied, called mentally retarded and replaceable by Mr Beast every day. Being in tears and having mental breakdowns day after day is difficult, and after a while became too much. “After every editing mistake I made, I was made to feel like an absolute idiot, even if the content wasn’t real. No credit was given unless a video I edited got credited to someone else.” -is difficult, and after awhile became too much. After every editing mistake I made, I was made to feel like an absolute idiot, even if the content wasn’t real. No credit was given (unless a video I edited got credited to someone else.) editors were told- — SoaR Turner (@Turnur) October 6, 2019 He continued: “Editors were told that if we ever (left) the team, we shouldn’t be set up for success after, so no credit will be given. Ideas would be taken, people would be baited into the team, and I would be screamed at then told ‘I just misinterpreted what I heard’ by his impossible-to-please ‘momager. “We would be forced to re-sign (Non-Disclosure Agreements), and then told these were our ‘glory days’. That’s a summary of almost every day on the team. That’s what it was like to work for Mr Beast, and that is why I don’t work there now.” -We would be forced to RESIGN NDAs, and then told these were our “glory days”. So that’s a summary of almost everyday on the team. That’s what it was like to work for MrBeast, and that is why I don’t work there now. Thanks for tuning in. :purple_heart: — SoaR Turner (@Turnur) October 6, 2019 Turner states that he intends to make a video with “proof and receipts” detailing his accusations, with the video unlikely to appear before October 12, explaining that it will probably be uploaded “next weekend.” At the time of writing, neither Mr Beast or any members of his team have commented on the currently unsubstantiated accusations. MrBeast’s Feastables launches in Walmart alongside new product Instagram: feastablesMrBeast’s chocolate bar company Feastables has begun its launch inside of Walmart, and it appears that it’s bringing along a new product for the company. MrBeast revealed his latest entrepreneurial endeavor, Feastables, in January 2022 which included the ability to win prizes with purchase which included the chance to be in one of his viral videos. After the first round of prizes was redeemed, MrBeast held a massive giveaway that crashed the website in the process in order to get rid of stock. MrBeast is taking Feastables to the next level with a launch inside Walmart stores across the USA, and it appears they’re bringing a new product with it. MrBeast’s Feastables launch in Walmart alongside new product MisfitsGG creator Happy Power posted a picture on Twitter showing a display case full of Feastables inside of their local Walmart. The display features MrBeast atop various shelves full of products, including what appears to be new vegan cookie option from the company. In the picture, the chocolate bars are priced at $2.98 while the vegan cookies are priced at $4.48. MrBeast replied to the photo, mentioning that fans shouldn’t rush to their local store to find the product as it’s not fully released yet. He said: “Some Walmart’s dropped a little early, I’ll announce this once it’s rolled out nationwide in a few days.” Some Walmart’s dropped a little early, I’ll announce this once it’s rolled out nation wide in a few days 🤫 — MrBeast (@MrBeast) September 6, 2022 This reveal comes just days after MrBeast launched his first-ever physical Beast Burger location in New Jersey prompting over 10,000 fans from all over the country to visit on opening day. • MrBeast’s Feastables prize draw called “rigged” with constant “no wins” – Dexerto

MrBeast’s Feastables prize draw called “rigged” with constant “no wins” Content king Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has just released his new Willy Wonka style candy bars, but patrons of Feastables are calling the accessible snack competition rigged. On January 30, MrBeast announced his new business/content endeavor: Feastables. He explained in his announcement video that the company’s first product would be a line of plant-based candy bars. They come in three flavors – Original, Crunch, and Almond. The candy also has a content element as each bar comes with a code that customers can enter on the Feastables website. Each code unlocks a spin on a virtual prize wheel that boasts $1 million in prizes. However, the real prize is the chance to be featured in a MrBeast video. Each code counts as an entry into a drawing for a chance to win a real-life chocolate factory. But it seems as if Feastables patrons aren’t impressed with the initial prize draw. Patrons claim MrBeast Feastables is rigged As with anything MrBeast is involved in, other YouTubers have found a way to make content out of Feastables. Content Creators, like Arcade Matt, have posted reviews of the candy bars and videos of them redeeming their codes. Nonetheless, Matt and his viewers didn’t get the bang for the buck they were hoping for. After entering 1o codes and only winning a “secret video” on his first entry, Matt called the experience “sussy”. A look at the comments revealed that he wasn’t the only one to constantly hit the “no wins” section of the prize wheel. In fact, several comments recounted an identical experience of winning a video on the first spin followed by 9 losses. “Getting a “not win” so many times in a row, even though there are only two not win panels confirms that this thing is rigged to high heaven.” one comment read. “My son bought a 10 box and had the exact same result. First code won a video and 2-10 were all losers!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k01WAxr2xWg&ab_channel=ArcadeMatt Some comments thanked Matt for the video so they wouldn’t “waste money” on buying the bars. Others mentioned videos from creators who had the exact same experience. One comment claimed, according to the website’s code, “Even though it’s a wheel, I think it is a fixed wheel. [It] just adds a visual flashy effect.” Another user claimed he lost 15 times in a row without even winning a second secret video. • MrBeast’s dumpster diving competition leads to highly profitable haul – Dexerto

MrBeast’s dumpster diving competition leads to highly profitable haul In a new YouTube video, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson hosted a dumpster diving competition with a professional appraiser giving a cost estimate to every item found with the winner earning $12,000. While going from dumpster to dumpster, Chris and Weddle were able to pull out incredible items worth varying degrees of cash alongside standard trash worth peanuts in comparison. Throughout the 100 dumpster journey, the most common items the two were able to pull out included bubble wrap, chairs, couches, shoes, phone cases and food items. However, there were some big-ticket items too. Surprisingly, the appraiser gave a calculator Weddle found a whopping $20 leading to a funny exchange with Chris. “How much am I losing by?” Chris asked. “Eight dollars,” replied Weddle. “And how many dumpsters has Weddle done?” Chris shot back and followed up with “And how many have I done?” “Hey, let me check the math with my calculator!” Weddle exclaimed before Chris slammed it on the pavement. In the very next dumpster, Chris pulled out perhaps the most bizarre item of the bunch with a sword. “Is this a murder weapon?” he asked after unsheathing the blade. “Dude, I literally thought this was just trash.” Unfortunately, the sword ended up only being worth $25 by the appraiser. A bit later on, Weddle outdid himself by pulling a guitar out of the trash to the tune of $90 according to the judge on the condition that the electronics were working. The competition raged on with multiple dumpsters being skipped over either because there was nothing inside or they were too gross to actually dive into. However, that didn’t mean some other profitable items were found. Of note, the two were able to pull out: a bike, TVs, monitors and even a ladder. At the end of the competition, both Chris and Weddle had accumulated over $1000 worth of trash. Weddle ended up $1,421.59 and Chris finished at $1,531.69. While Chris did win the competition and the $12,000, he gave his opponent half of the cash and promised to take him to the mall and “treat him like a king”. It’s crazy to think that dumpsters could hold so much profit. Next time you throw something away it may be worth to ask yourself: what would someone pay for this?

  • MrBeast’s Feastables is offering fans $10,000 for the best “Deez nuts” joke – Dexerto

MrBeast’s Feastables is offering fans $10,000 for the best “Deez nuts” joke TikTok: Feastables/Instagram: MrBeastMrBeast’s chocolate company Feastables is offering fans the chance to win $10,000 just by duetting a TikTok video with their best ‘Deez Nuts” joke to celebrate the release of their new flavor. Since its launch in January 2022, MrBeast’s Feastables has continued to grow with a variety of new flavors, products, and has even made its way into Walmart. The company introduced its latest flavor ‘Deez Nuts’ on February 14, 2023, alongside a video on Twitter that MrBeast says almost became a Super Bowl commercial. Feastables has taken to TikTok with a contest to celebrate the release, and there’s $10,000 on the line for the winner. Feastables wants to give $10,000 for the best Deez Nuts joke Uploaded on February 17, the video shows MrBeast and his team holding bars of the new peanut butter and chocolate bar with the words “POV: You tell us a Deez Nutz joke for $10,000.” The video is recorded in a way that allows users to duet it and tell their joke in time for the crew to obnoxiously laugh. Within six hours of it getting uploaded, it’s been viewed 650,000 times and duetted almost 300 times. According to the caption, the contest is available to residents within the US and will be open for submissions via duets to the video until March 3, 2023. Although the origin of the ‘Deez Nuts’ joke goes back decades, it really saw a resurgence in popularity in early 2015 when comedian WelvenDaGreat posted a sketch on Instagram. In the sketch, Welven is on the phone with someone when he says something came in the mail for them — and replies with the iconic line. It’ll be interesting to see who comes up with a joke good enough to earn the $10,000, but we’ll have to wait to see who MrBeast’s team picks.

  • MrBeast’s $20,000 rollercoaster marathon challenge fails miserably – but still pays up – Dexerto

MrBeast’s $20,000 rollercoaster marathon challenge fails miserably – but still pays up Offering $20,000 to the group of friends that could stay on a rollercoaster the longest seems straightforward enough, but popular YouTube sensation MrBeast’s latest challenge didn’t quite go to plan when matters took an unexpected turn. Originally popularized by his ‘Counting to 100,000’ video that was posted back in 2017, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has amassed over 22 million subscribers on YouTube. Since posting the 23-hour long feature video, the 21-year-old has become somewhat known for his spontaneous charitable gestures by frequently donating to the homeless, animal shelters and Twitch streamers. However, the American’s most recent escapades primarily involve setting ad-lib challenges to strangers in exchange for sizable monetary rewards. In a video that saw two teams of four compete against each other in a rollercoaster marathon, MrBeast documented the battle of guts (and wits) from the point-of-view of the competitors. Both teams surpassed a whopping 100 laps before the contest was brought to an unexpected halt, after hearing that the park would be closing imminently — something which was apparently not accounted, despite the intention of an endless marathon. Not one to bail on promise, MrBeast ensured that the $20,000 was still up for grabs — in what will likely be the most lucrative and intense game of rock, paper, scissors these competitors will ever face. Albeit a somewhat fortuitous happening for the winning team, the prize money attained from the challenge was well-earned nonetheless. Since its posting, the video has exceeded over 11 million views (and rising) in less than 24 hours. Proving popular among the masses, another obscure MrBeast challenge could be soon on the horizon, as targeting intrigue proves to be a profitable venture for him on YouTube.

  • MrBeast’s brother reaches major YouTube milestone in just five days – Dexerto

MrBeast’s brother reaches major YouTube milestone in just five days YouTube: MrBeastYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s older brother CJ ‘MrBro’ Donaldson has already reached over a million subscribers on his new channel, proving that talent runs in the family. MrBeast had tempted his brother over the years to make YouTube his career, and on August 28 he finally caved in and officially launched his new channel ‘MrBro’ – it seems to have paid off already. After a push from the YouTube superstar’s own videos, CJ’s platform has absolutely blown up in popularity, and has exceeded 1 million subscribers in just five days of being active, making him one of the fastest growing creators on the video site. MrBro hit a million subs On September 1, MrBro officially hit over a million subs on his YouTube channel, after only being active on the account for five days. This largely was helped by his younger brother MrBeast, who asked his fans to support him on his social media accounts. The popular challenge creator has been tracking his brother’s subscriber account over the last three days on social media, and gave thanks to his followers on Twitter after his CJ hit the subscriber milestone. “It will probably start slowing down soon, thank you to everyone who subscribed! My brother is freaking out and it’s funny lol,” he tweeted. It will probably start slowing down soon, thank you to every one who subscribed! My brother is freaking out and it’s funny lol pic.twitter.com/gsHsq2mE3c — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) September 1, 2019 Showing that family matters, MrBeast has taken the charge to help support his younger brother’s new career. On his August 31 video, the YouTube star gave CJ $100,000 to spend to help promote his new channel At the end of the video, the YouTuber announced that the brothers of his three friends who are heavily featured in his videos would be supporting MrBro’s channel, making them two squads. “It’s literally my squad’s brothers, on his channel.” MrBeast then asked his fans to support CJ: “From the bottom of our trios hearts’, we want you to go and subscribe to our brothers. And watch every single one of their videos. It is your sworn duty, when they upload, to click on it, and watch all the way through.” (Timestamp of 11:15 for mobile viewers.) While MrBro has gotten a big push from his younger brother who is a major YouTube star in his own right, the new content creator has shown that talent runs in the family, as his first three videos have been really popular with over 1.3 million views each. While the direction that his channel will take remains to be seen, it seems that a big focus will be giving away money to people, as CJ has said that it feels great to do, and is something he wants to pursue. As of the time of the article, MrBro’s channel has over 1.4 million subscribers, and shows no signs of slowing down.

  • MrBeast’s $100,000 YouTube star challenge ends in a surprising conclusion – Dexerto

MrBeast’s $100,000 YouTube star challenge ends in a surprising conclusion MrBeast, Twitter – YouTubePopular YouTuber MrBeast gathered 12 of YouTube’s biggest stars to participate in an intense competition for a grand prize of $100,000 – and the end result did not pan out as expected. MrBeast introduced a revamped version of his popular ‘circle challenge’ video, where he challenged a group of his friends to remain within the confines of a spray-painted circle for as long as they could in order to take home a $10,000 prize. This time, MrBeast amped up the challenge, not allowing the YouTube stars to sit down for the duration of their stay. Additionally, MrBeast made each of them wear a special vest, adding one pound to the gear for every hour they stayed inside the circle – eventually upping that amount to two per hour in the hopes of winning $100,00, instead. MrBeast’s challenge saw the likes of Fortnite pro FaZe Tfue, vlogger David Dobrik, Ricegum, and more, including FaZe members Rain and Adapt. While Ricegum was the first to leave the circle just after the challenge began, the rest of the cast managed to pull through for an impressive length of time. So far, three are out. Try to guess who.. pic.twitter.com/1GRW2cVl6S — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) December 8, 2018 After a slew of hilarious moments, the competitors dwindled down to four remaining YouTubers – Caspar Lee, Leon Lush, Alex Earnst, and Danny Duncan. After sticking it out for a total of 31 hours, the group decided to make a truce, each splitting the amount to take home $25,000 each (and a special shoutout from MrBeast at the end of the video). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71VpdDb8e6U MrBeast admitted that he was proud of the project, claiming that the experiment was one of his favorite videos thus far. He even teased a second rendition of the video – although we’re not sure if Ricegum is willing to let him use the Clout House again for this next challenge.

MrBeast’s $100,000 donation shocks small-time Twitch streamers MrBeast, YouTubePopular YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is known for his shocking acts of charity – but one of his projects is leaving small-time Twitch streamers speechless. While MrBeast has a penchant for donating generous amounts of money to Twitch streamers, his latest donation video sought to help broadcasters with a grand total of 0 viewers. MrBeast had a whopping $100,000 to give out, and divvied up the amount in $5,000 – 10,000 increments between a slew of smaller Twitch streamers – who had a wide range of incredible reactions to his donations. One streamer, who was broadcasting himself sleeping, initially thought that MrBeast had donated $10.00 instead of $10,000, and even appeared not to believe that his donation was real at all. Read More: Top 10 cosplays by Alyson Tabbitha – Final Fantasy, Harry Potter, Attack on Titan, and more – “Is that funny?” the streamer asked, after MrBeast jokingly suggested that he could have “burned” the cash, instead. “Thanks for the $10,000. Let’s do a collab or something.” MrBeast even turned the video up a notch by challenging streamers to get a kill in their games to receive an additional donation. “That is not real,” one streamer said in shock when presented with the task. “MrBeast, are you serious?” A few streamers even broke out into tears at MrBeast’s generosity, with a few livestreaming his store after being asked to purchase his merchandise using a special discount code. Although MrBeast has created many of these videos in the past, popular YouTuber and family vlogger Roman Atwood revealed his own initiative to help smaller streamers the day prior. [Timestamp: 2:30 for mobile viewers] Atwood’s initiative takes $2 from each sale of his graphic ‘glitch’ Smile More T-shirts and donates the revenue to small-time Twitch streamers – which resulted in an emotional reaction from 15-year-old Fortnite streamer Joseph ‘JTReview,’ as shown during his video on the subject.

MrBeast is going to make real-life Squid Game on TikTok MrBeast, NetflixMrBeast is making big promises, as always, this time claiming that he will recreate Squid Game in real life, on one condition. If you haven’t heard of Squid Game, the hit dystopian show on Netflix, then you have been missing out on one of the most trending pieces of entertainment in 2021. The show, set in South Korea, tells the tale of desperation and the distance people will go in order to obtain great riches. MrBeast is a person that knows a thing or two about great riches, and he aims to bring Netflix’s hit show to life. Squid Game in real life? In a TikTok posted on October 11 from MrBeast, he revealed that he will recreate Squid Game in real life if the post gets 10 million likes. It didn’t take long for the video to comfortably surpass that amount, sitting at over 12 million at the time of writing. Knowing MrBeast’s track record, we’ve no doubt he’ll follow through on the promise now that he’s hit the likes goal. It’s unclear how exactly MrBeast plans to pull off this endeavor, as his version is going to have to be different than the Netflix version for some pretty straightforward reasons. But, we’ll likely find out how he’s able to get this done in the coming days or weeks. • MrBeast wants “brutal” copycats to stop copying him but understands why they do it – Dexerto

MrBeast wants “brutal” copycats to stop copying him but understands why they do it YouTube: Colin and SamirJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has explained why he wishes some of the “brutal” copycats of his videos would try their own thing, but he also understands why they don’t. Over the last few years, MrBeast has taken YouTube by storm with his hugely ambitious videos. He’s smashed the subscriber record for a sole creator on his main channel and has been branching out into different regions too. Given his stranglehold on the top of YouTube, it’s no surprise that people are ‘inspired’ somewhat by his style. His thumbnails, video ideas, and much more have been replicated hundreds of times over. It’s a clearly successful formula, which is why he doesn’t hold it against people too much for following in his footsteps. Though, he does wish there was a little bit more originality on YouTube these days. MrBeast wishes YouTubers would stop “stealing” his content The topic of the ‘Beastification’ of YouTube came up during his most recent appearance on the Colin and Samir podcast, with Donaldson explaining that he’s not a massive fan. “I wish people would… there is inspiration and then there is stealing. So many people just steal what I do! So many people just put their face on my face or steal my thumbnail, say verbatim what I say at the start of videos, and like all my things,” he said. “Every time I’ve done these podcasts, I just come here and I say everything. I literally come here and tell you guys every little thing I know about getting views on youtube. Tens of thousands of creators have watched those and that’s the reason why they’re making $10k plus a month. They’re like ‘Oh, Jimmy just laid it out’ and followed it.” Timestamp of 38:15 He called that a “positive” for those creators but it’s a “negative” for the whole of YouTube because they’re not developing their own thing. “It’s pretty brutal,” Jimmy continued. “I don’t call people out for copying for me because not everything I do is original, you always get inspiration from somewhere, so I try not to be hypocritical. “I almost wish people would self-police it more. It’s ok to draw inspiration from me but just don’t do what I do to a tee.” The YouTube superstar added that other creators could easily make similar videos their own, but they don’t. Though, who knows, now he’s called it again, we might see some change.

  • MrBeast wants to stream on Kick to protest Twitch’s new guidelines – Dexerto

MrBeast wants to stream on Kick to protest Twitch’s new guidelines YouTube: Curiosity StreamYouTube star MrBeast is considering streaming on Kick as a way to “protest” Twitch’s new branded content guidelines that are sparking backlash across the internet. On June 6, Twitch rolled out new guidelines for branded content on its platform that are set to go into effect on July 1. These new rules place major restrictions on sponsored streams, disallowing any “burned in” audio, video, and display ads. On top of this, the platform also released a comprehensive list of goods that aren’t allowed to be advertised at all, including political content, adult-oriented products, medical devices, and more. Of course, there are still ways that streamers can have advertisements in their broadcasts — but the site’s new restrictions place huge limitations on how they can snag sponsors to pay bills. As a result, a slew of backlash has been sparked against Twitch, with a number of top streamers and influencers speaking out against the website. MrBeast teases possible Kick stream to “protest” Twitch changes YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is just the latest famous online figure to throw his two cents into the ring, openly criticizing Twitch in a pointed tweet shortly after the news broke. “Hey Twitch, how about instead of handicapping what creators make, you help them make more?” he wrote. “Seems more logical.” “This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all year,” he added in a now-deleted post. “I’m not even a Twitch streamer and now I want to stream on a competitor just to spite them for you guys. If YouTube pulled this sh*t, I’d lose my mind.” That’s not all; it looks like MrBeast also followed rival streaming platform Kick on Twitter, drumming up speculation that the YouTuber might actually try dipping his toes into the Kick pool. “The GOAT just followed us,” Kick wrote in a tweet. “It’s time for Kick to take over.” “Might do a stream for fun just to protest Twitch lol,” he replied. It’s worth noting that Twitch has since apologized for the “language” in their new guidelines with promises to amend the wording in the near future, but it’s yet unclear what will and won’t be allowed on the platform following the promised changes. Although it’s currently unclear if MrBeast will actually stream on Kick, this wouldn’t be the first time a major internet celebrity has publicly pondered joining the platform. Alinity, best known for streaming on Twitch, has said that she “may or may not” be in talks with Kick following her ban from Twitch for dancing on stream.

  • MrBeast goes viral for receiving a gift for a change from YouTuber ZHC – Dexerto

MrBeast goes viral for receiving a gift for a change from YouTuber ZHC Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson and his crew got a special gift from YouTuber Zach ‘ZHC’ Hsieh that set the internet aflame after revealing an incredible (and expensive) work of iPhone artistry. American YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast is used to giving away lucrative gifts and straight-up bundles of cash at random to people he comes across in his videos. But ZHC saw a perfect opportunity to make a change of pace by giving back to MrBeast and his friends with a painstaking commission that completely reinvented a set of five brand new iPhone 11 Pro Maxes. ZHC is a popular content creator who centers his videos on tutorials, challenges, and experiments all revolving around his talents as an artist. Taking a charitable approach to his November 20 upload called “Surprising MrBeast With A Custom iPhone 11,” ZHC decided to apply his mastery with the pen to create a collage spanning multiple smartphones in honor of MrBeast – as well as his friends Jake, Garret, Chandler, and Chris. Putting his own spin on MrBeast’s logo, ZHC recreated the blue beast in an astronaut suit hovering in space. While the designs were meticulously created to include a starry background, multiple planets and the like, the YouTuber kept to a clean, simple artwork for the phones. ZHC also included an extra bit of flair to the five phones that truly unifies it as a single masterpiece. When lining up the phones in a particular order, there’s a purple beam that lines up, essentially connecting each of the portraits. “I’m not sure if you guys noticed this, but if you look closely there’s a purple and pink streak [spanning the phones,]” ZHC said. “Technically, you could say all the phones are one big piece.” With the help of Garret, the artist got the reactions from MrBeast and his crew as they opened their phones and each was taken aback by what they uncovered. They weren’t the only ones impressed, as the video quickly got shared to the point of racking up 2 million views in about a day. Though MrBeast isn’t the type of person to let this act of kindness go unanswered, as it appears he gifted an entire house to a pizza delivery driver, but fans will have to wait until he reveals his philanthropic schemes.

  • MrBeast vows to get “revenge” for PewDiePie by overtaking T-Series in YouTube subs – Dexerto

MrBeast vows to get “revenge” for PewDiePie by overtaking T-Series in YouTube subs YouTube: MrBeast, PewDiePieMrBeast has vowed to get “revenge” for PewDiePie by overtaking T-Series in subs just months after passing PewDiePie to become the most subscribed individual YouTuber on the platform. Back in 2019, PewDiePie and T-Series went neck and neck against each other in a race to become the first YouTube channel to reach 100,000,000 subscribers. The race went back and forth between the creators for weeks before T-Series managed to hit the goal first, prompting PewDiePie to release a diss track. MrBeast surpassed PewDiePie back in November 2022 as well, becoming the most subscribed content creator on YouTube. When asked if he thinks he’ll overtake T-Series as the biggest channel on the platform, his response wasn’t surprising. MrBeast vows to get “revenge” for PewDiePie On January 1, MrBeast tweeted two photos showing that his account was the most followed on TikTok as well as the most subscribed on YouTube, amassing nearly 40M subs in just a year. Someone responded and asked the influencer if he thinks he’ll overtake T-Series. “Easily. I’ll get revenge for poods,” MrBeast replied. At the time of writing, T-Series has amassed over 233 million subscribers on the platform. The India-based music label and movie studio uploads videos several times a week which quickly gain tens of millions of views in the days following. MrBeast is sitting at 127 million subscribers, but at the rate he’s been growing we may see him take over the platform sooner than later. We’ll have to wait to see what happens, but in the meantime head over to our entertainment section for more news and other viral stories.

MrBeast updates fans on weight loss journey after 10 months of exercise & dieting Twitter: MrBeastMrBeast has updated fans on his weight loss journey from “obese to just lean” after 10 months of exercising and dieting. It’s no secret that MrBeast regularly pushes his body to the limits for the sake of a good video, from burying himself alive for 50 hours to attempting to fast for 30 days, of which he lasted two full weeks. However, despite pushing his body for content purposes, it seems he is now attempting to keep a relatively healthy lifestyle off-camera too. In a tweet updating his fans on his weight loss journey, it seems he has been at it for quite a while, but jokingly laments how long and how much dedication it takes to actually get fit. “I’ve been lifting religiously for 10 months (with a trainer, 12k steps a day, good sleep, good diet) and I’ve gone from obese to just lean,” MrBeast wrote in his June 11 update tweet. He further compliments the more dedicated individuals who keep up a jacked physique, given how much sustained effort is required. “I have a newfound respect for jacked people, this takes forever.” MrBeast promised that he will eventually share pictures of his progress, but only after he feels he has made enough progress in his weight loss journey. “Was [at] 40% body fat and now I’m sub 20% body fat, he said of his body fat percentage. “Give me six more months and I should be able to share some sick before and after pics.” It seems MrBeast is looking to build quite the physique in his weight loss journey, so it seems fans will be marking their calendars for the day MrBeast shows us the fruits of his labor. As for whether we can expect a fully ripped giga-chad Beast in the near future, we’ll just have to wait and see how heavy he goes with the weights moving forward.

MrBeast is arguably one of the most controversial yet popular figures on the internet. Using the wealth gained from his YouTube empire, his philanthropic efforts have seen him rebuild houses, give away meals and save orphanages. All of which he has showcased on his secondary channel BeastPhilanthropy. As such, some users on the internet have taken a disliking to the YouTuber, with his most recent effort causing quite a stir amongst certain individuals. MrBeast recently released a TikTok video in which he tips a waitress an entire car as thanks for his meal. The waitress was incredibly grateful for the act, and broke down in tears, explaining how she was late for work that day due to a late Uber. Unfortunately for MrBeast, the waitress actually reveals that she isn’t quite able to drive yet, but was still in complete shock by the gift she was given. MrBeast catches heat from internet after tipping waitress a car However, the internet wasn’t too happy with this act of kindness and once again began to find ways to point out the negative in the situation. Some commenters were quick to mention that the car would count as part of her income, forcing her to pay a higher tax bracket. Other individuals remarked about how the donation of a car reminded them of “the car-centric dystopia we live in”. Another user lightly commented that whilst the act of tipping a car was nice itself, the car being branded in MrBeast’s Feastable chocolate branding wasn’t a great thing. This sentiment was shared by a fair few individuals, all agreeing that the decal of the car was the only bad thing about it. Whilst there were some Internet users who weren’t too pleased with MrBeast’s most recent act of philanthropy, many came to his defense and even praised him for doing so. Even though MrBeast caught a bit of flack for tipping this waitress a car, it’s unlikely that’ll stop him from performing another huge deed for the public anytime soon.

  • MrBeast ‘curing blindness’ video splits opinion as some claim he just wants YouTube growth – Dexerto

MrBeast ‘curing blindness’ video splits opinion as some claim he just wants YouTube growth YouTube: MrBeastMrBeast has recieved heaps of praise for his latest YouTube video, where he cured 1000 people’s blindess. But, nothing can just be a good deed anymore, as he has also been called out by some on social media who believe he is only seeking YouTube growth. Well-known YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has a history of doing fantastical and amazing things. From walking on water to hosting his very own Squid Game competition, MrBeast is one of the biggest creators on the video-sharing platform. He has used that popularity in various philanthropic ways, usually releasing videos to coincide with them, even going so far as to have a channel dedicated to his philanthropic efforts. Videos such as “Giving $1,000,000 Of Food To People In Need” and “I Gave $200,000 To People Who Lost Their Jobs” achieve millions of views on his channel, as MrBeast looks to aid those who he can. However, his recent efforts to cure blind individuals has also sparked some negative comments, despite his good-intentions. The video titled, “1,000 Blind People See For The First Time” has over 40 million views at the time of writing, just hours after going live. Given its viral traction, we’ve already seen major discourse around it on Twitter. While the overwhelming reaction has been positive, some individuals have found the video to give off a rather uncanny feeling, going as so far to call the video “demonic”. Some Twitter users have even accused MrBeast of only producing and creating the video as a means to further his YouTube empire and profit from it. Stating that “He just makes people dance on camera for basic human needs so he can make millions. It’s weird.” Meanwhile, others have defended MrBeast vehemently, calling out such negative reactions to the video, essentially stating that the other side is just complaining about anything. Finally, some individuals have created a nuanced stance on it, as the video has seemingly underlined issues with the American healthcare system, an argument even Hasan commented on. However, a combination of factors within the video alongside these issues has left people feeling “viscerally wrong.”

  • MrBeast turns Minecraft into sports for $100k challenge – Dexerto

MrBeast turns Minecraft into sports for $100k challenge YouTube: MrBeast: Mojang StudiosJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson had players running for their hockey sticks and pucks in his latest Minecraft YouTube challenge in which $100k was up for grabs. When he’s not building a $3.5 million Squid Game recreation or setting up an epic game of hide-and-seek, YouTuber MrBeast is known for challenging his friends to an insane Minecraft challenge of some sort. For example, in one video he made all the animals and mobs in the game 10x bigger and set up a 1,000-player manhunt across Earth. In his latest gaming video set around Minecraft, Donaldson had players battle it out for glory in a number of challenges, including an intense hockey game showdown. MrBeast’s Minecraft hockey gets intense On April 24, Donaldson uploaded a YouTube video where he arranged for a group of his friends to fight against one another in a series of mini-games in Minecraft. With a total of $100,000 up for grabs, it’s no surprise that the challenge got intense. One particularly stressful moment was during a Minecraft hockey game, of all things. Splitting his friendship group into Red Team and Blue team, Donaldson started things off by offering $10k for the leader of the first team to score a goal. There were some close calls from both teams, with Red cutting it close with a near-goal. However, the Blue team managed to kick the puck out of their side of the field to score a goal and win the game. Another challenge in the video included a Deal or No Deal-like archery game where players had to shoot at targets with mystery cash prizes behind them. After eliminating each target, the player got to keep whatever the cash prize was left at the end. The game proved especially crushing for Donaldson’s friend Joe who wrecked his chances of winning the top prize of $100k after hitting the target towards the end of his game. Yet, he still walked away with a decent $4,000. MrBeast and Minecraft clearly continues to be a match made in heaven for his fans. Meanwhile, we are eagerly waiting for his next wild project with his fellow YouTuber Ludwig.

MrBeast turns the tables on paparazzi who followed him to dinner YouTube: The Daily StardustYouTube star ‘MrBeast’ turned the tables on paparazzi who’d followed him to an evening dinner outing — and ended up critiquing their YouTube channel, in the process. Paparazzi seem to be par for the course in the life of a celebrity. Things haven’t changed much throughout the years — except that paps’ catalogue of stars to follow around has expanded to include internet celebrities and social media influencers. Paparazzi have also created a space for themselves on social platforms. For example, The Hollywood Fix and The Daily Stardust have gathered sizable audiences on YouTube and Instagram, where they upload their interviews with celebrities and influencers. View this post on Instagram Most recently, the mind behind the Daily Stardust account caught up with YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson while he was grabbing dinner in Los Angeles. Rather than brushing off the photographer, Donaldson actually engaged in a pleasant conversation with him, asking him all sorts of questions about the industry and even enquiring about the supposed “network” of paps in the area. MrBeast critiques paparazzi’s YouTube channel The Daily Stardust answered that they and other paparazzi cover a slew of areas throughout California, and even get tipped off about certain celebrities’ locations. However, they admitted that they also hang around certain celeb hotspots in the hopes of scoring a few pics. Perhaps the most humorous part of the conversation happened after Stardust asked MrBeast for tips on his YouTube channel. Donaldson didn’t hold back with his comments, saying that “your thumbnails could be a lot better.” He also appeared to entertain the idea of allowing paparazzi to join in on his high-stakes challenge videos — although the jury’s still out of that’ll ever become a reality. Donaldson said that he was in the area to film a video, although he couldn’t let slip what the forthcoming project is. It’s been three weeks since he last uploaded, leaving fans anxious to see what his next big project could be… although it probably won’t include paparazzi this time around.

MrBeast is one of the most popular creators on YouTube. Known for his over-the-top challenges and huge cash giveaways, he’s accrued over 55 million loyal subscribers — but he’s not shying away from sharing his success with others. While Donaldson has given his shine to many other YouTubers in the past — even helping in the rise of Minecraft creator Karl Jacobs (not to mention his 100 million sub campaign for PewDiePie) — he’s now extending a helping hand in another huge way. Donaldson himself claimed that his idea for starting Creative Juice was due to receiving delayed payouts from brands in the past, which would sometimes prompt him to take out loans to start on his next project. 5) The first product is Juice Funds, which lets creators invest in other creators. Sometimes brands take like five months to pay you.” As for his current venture, MrBeast isn’t 100% certain how “valuing” YouTube channels is going to pan out — but he certainly wants to help new creators, and he’s putting his own money down to do so. “That’s honestly just gonna be trial and error,” he stated. “I’m not trying to screw anyone over. I want to make deals that are fair for both sides. Genuinely, I just want to help people out.”

It was topped with a combination of exotic fruits, rare chocolate, and expensive sauces. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson claimed he’s losing “ridiculous amounts of money” on his main YouTube channel. However, that hasn’t stopped him from spending insane amounts and giving it all away. He treated himself, two friends, and one lucky fan to all kinds of expensive foods in one of his latest endeavors. They enjoyed everything from $500 cheese to $50,000 steaks. But it all paled in comparison to the $100,000 Ice Cream Sundae, which they saved until the end. It didn’t look too expensive at first. Instead, it looked like an ordinary but impressive mountain of ice-cream mixed with fruit and other bits and pieces in the platter. However, three were some hidden details and expenses beneath the surface. “Each one of those ice cream balls that you see costs over $100 to make,” said the waiter. “We’ve [also] got chocolate from South America made from chocolate bars that cost $500 each. It was topped with “a bottle of 99-year-old grape juice that cost over $20,000” and “butterscotch made with 50-year-old apple juice that cost $45,000.” However, being the generous man he is, MrBeast said he “personally [didn’t] feel comfortable eating it.” Instead, he invited two more fans to take his place. He sat back and watched them gorge away along with the others. The relevant part of the video starts at 10:30. In the end, the three fans had the time of their lives and thanked MrBeast for inviting them along for the ride. With his videos evidently getting crazier and crazier with each upload, there’s absolutely no telling what’s next from Jimmy and his crew. Unsurprisingly by this point, MrBeast revealed he might have something up his sleeve next year. “There will be something like next year that… yeah. You’ll see something, it’s almost unfathomable,” he said. While trying to avoid saying directly that he’s heading to space, he confirmed there’s something going on behind the scenes, but noted that things are yet to be finalized. “I’m f**king terrified,” he admitted. “Less than a thousand people have gone to space, and think about all the people that have died on the way up. • MrBeast tips waitress $10,000, and her reaction is priceless – Dexerto

MrBeast tips waitress $10,000, and her reaction is priceless YouTube’s king of big budgets and social experiments has returned with another video that showcases the impact of random acts of kindness. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson uploaded another video tipping wait staff an outrageous amount of money for their services – this time only ordering water, which is generally free in the United States. He began his experiment by tipping just a penny, then increased that amount to upwards of $1,000. As can be expected, the wait staff were simultaneously shocked and overjoyed at MrBeast’s generosity. One young man working a drive-through admitted that he was able to pay rent due to MrBeast’s tip, which cashed in at $300. However, that wasn’t the end of it: MrBeast’s experiment ended with a massive, $10,000 tip to one waitress at Sup Dogs, a restaurant in Greenville, North Carolina. While he has tipped massive amounts of money to wait staff before, he’s never tipped this much to a single server – and her reaction to the cash was as shocking as you might expect. She appeared to be overwhelmed at the stack of hundred-dollar bills sitting on the table and even called her manager over to investigate, as though she didn’t believe the tip was legit. “Why would they do that?” she said in the video. “That was way too big of a tip.” The incident made such a wave that multiple news outlets across the globe had covered the story before the video even went live. “I literally didn’t think it was real,” the waitress told one news site. “…I thought someone was playing a joke on me.” MrBeast made sure to follow up with a montage of his other crazy antics, which beat out a $10,000 tip by a massive margin.

  • MrBeast teases next viral project that will be “bigger than Squid Game” – Dexerto

MrBeast teases next viral project that will be “bigger than Squid Game” YouTube: MrBeastYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is still flying on the success of his viral ‘Squid Game’ recreation — but he’s got another idea up his sleeve that could be even bigger. When it comes to making YouTube videos, it’s safe to say that MrBeast is owning the game. The influencer has made waves across the internet with his viral, high stakes challenges and impressive charity work, starting up his very own food bank and even raising millions of dollars to clean the world’s oceans. However, his most recent product to take over the world wide web was his jaw-dropping recreation of Netflix’s Squid Game, which broke YouTube records and garnered over 42 million views in a single day. The video was even praised by Squid Game’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, and has effectively set the bar exceedingly high for every other influencer out there… but this is apparently far from MrBeast’s magnum opus. MrBeast hints at video that could topple viral Squid Game recreation In an interview with fellow YouTuber Marques Brownlee, MrBeast revealed he’s got even bigger ambitions for the future, claiming he has a passion project he’d like to make that would topple his Squid Game video. “I want to take everything I learned from Squid Game and apply it to this other idea, but if I told you, I legit would have to kill you,” Donaldson joked. Luckily, he eventually let Brownlee in on his grand scheme — but the entire conversation was completely bleeped out, leaving fans completely unaware of what this YouTuber will unleash next. Despite this, the creators hinted that it would be an “instant viral hit” and “bigger than Squid Game,” although the production timeline could be a long one, as MrBeast stated he’d have to film the project over the course of six months or more. (Topic begins at 10:37) There’s very little else to go on outside of this short, highly censored conversation… but that isn’t stopping fans from getting excited and wondering what in the world could MrBeast’s dream project actually be. MrBeast hints at major upcoming project again on Twitter MrBeast has once again brought up this mysterious video three months later, claiming that it will be “bigger” than his record-breaking Squid Game adaptation. Also give me a few months and I’m going to drop what will probably be our best video ever. I have an idea that is bigger then our squid game video and so interesting/insane that I doubt it will ever be topped (Assuming we can pull it off haha) — MrBeast (@MrBeast) March 10, 2022 That’s not all; MrBeast even gave fans a potential date when they can expect the video to drop, asking them to give him a “few months” to make “what will probably be our best video ever.” For now, all fans can do is watch and wait as the YouTuber continues to smash major goalposts like being invited on the Joe Rogan podcast.

MrBeast published a Tweet on January 25, urging his fans to peep the upcoming Super Bowl – which could hint at his previous plan to create a Super Bowl commercial advocating for PewDiePie, in light of his ongoing battle against Bollywood label T-Series. “Make sure you guys watch the Super Bowl,” MrBeast wrote, going on to delete the Tweet shortly thereafter. • MrBeast teases brand new YouTube video set in Antarctica – Dexerto

MrBeast teases brand new YouTube video set in Antarctica YouTube: MrwhosethebossIn a Twitter post, YouTube sensation Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has teased the release of a new video created in the frosty desert of Antarctica. While not 100% confirmed that’s why he was there, it wouldn’t surprise anyone. MrBeast is an immensely successful content creator. His content has gone viral many times over, providing innovative video ideas and feel-good satisfaction with his mega productions. The man has studied the art of YouTube video marketing and has mastered the creation of high quality videos, earning himself the most subscribed individual content creator on the platform. Therefore, whenever he teases a new video, the world eagerly waits in anticipation. His next one though, might be one of the most ambitious yet — that’s if you read between the lines. On December 5, MrBeast made a post on Twitter stating: “I spent the last week in Antartica without signal, what did I miss?” MrBeast lives and breathes content creation. There is no doubt he was creating another high production YouTube video in Antarctica. He confirmed the video’s production when called by Eric ‘Airrack’ Decker, who contacted MrBeast to congratulate him on winning Creator of the Year at the Streamys. “Sorry I couldn’t make it, I literally just got back from Antarctica like five seconds ago. I just got off a plane. I was filming a video in Antarctica,” MrBeast stated in the video. With how outlandish his video ideas get, it’s nearly impossible to guess the premise of his unreleased video. Maybe he bought a chunk of land in Antarctica and is giving it away to some polar bears, or maybe he’s giving some penguins a $10,000 budget to change their lives! Or perhaps this video he has in the works will focus on his own adventures, rather than highlighting competition among a select group of people. In his latest video, he had 100 kids face off against 100 adults for $500,000. And in a previous video, he literally crashed a plane and went into survival mode. Whether he gives away money or willingly places himself in a life-threatening circumstance, keep an eye out on MrBeast’s upcoming YouTube video in Antarctica, which may release any time ranging from a couple weeks to a few months.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is one of the most popular content creators on the internet. Best known for his over-the-top challenge videos, the YouTuber is also hailed for his philanthropic giveaways, as well as his ambitious environmental projects like #TeamTrees and #TeamSeas. However, he gained international acclaim after publishing his recreation of Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ series last year — even earning the praise of the show’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk. Now, it’s looking like he’s finally got a contender for his magnum opus… and it’s inspired by Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Earlier this year, MrBeast launched his own line of chocolate bars, aptly named ‘Feastables.’ In true Willy Wonka fashion, certain bars contained a ‘golden ticket’ of sorts that granted lucky winners the chance to visit his very own chocolate factory. After accidentally giving away $1.3 million worth of chocolate bars in a flash sale, it seems that all the winners have been chosen, paving the way for a season 2 of the project — and it’s looking nothing short of impressive. MrBeast creates an actual chocolate waterfall On May 7, MrBeast shared a photo of a true-blue chocolate factory worthy of Willy Wonka’s name, complete with stone bridges and lollipops sticking out of the ground. “Why didn’t someone tell me this would be so hard?” he joked. We’re in the early stages of recreating Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory (this photo is like 10% of it) why didn’t someone tell me this would be so hard 😂 pic.twitter.com/jJbcgykKtM — MrBeast (@MrBeast) May 7, 2022 Several days later, MrBeast shared a progress video of an actual chocolate waterfall. While it isn’t currently in a perfect state, he assured viewers that it would be picture-perfect for his upcoming video. This might be the biggest project MrBeast has undertaken thus far — it’s certainly on par with his Squid Game upload, at least. That’s not all; during all this, MrBeast claims that he’s been “terraforming an island” he bought for $20 million as part of his upcoming 100 million subscriber celebration. It’s looking like MrBeast’s YouTube empire is about to get even bigger as his main channel continues to rival the site’s most-subscribed creator, PewDiePie.

The cost to join the club would be $10 a month, with all of the revenue going towards his bigger videos. Fellow content creator Marques ‘MKBHD’ Brownlee seemed very interested in the idea, replying to the hypothetical club pitch saying: “You should definitely do a podcast just talking YouTube and the social video game we all play.” He then went on to invite MrBeast on his own podcast, with the YouTuber quickly accepting the invitation. #1 you should definitely do a podcast just talking YouTube and the social video game we all play #2 you should hop on my podcast to talk YouTube if you somehow get a free hour — Marques Brownlee (@MKBHD) January 13, 2021 Patreon co-founder and CEO Jack Conte even chimed in with his own thoughts. “So if you use Patreon’s membership, what if we got you some Patreon stock that you could GIVE AWAY in your announcement vid?” “Instead of cash, give out some equity in Patreon… just sayin’,” he added, though MrBeast has yet to respond publicly to the offer. Aside from those two big names, fans themselves were a bit more divided. While some seemed down to spend $10 a month to join the club, others felt the price was a little too high. Beast! MrBeast teases “giant” anime voice actor for upcoming Japanese language YouTube dub channel YouTube: MrBeast / Shueisha, KodanshaYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is making an official Japanese dub channel for his English content — and he says a “giant” anime voice actor is slated to play his part. MrBeast is one of YouTube’s most prominent content creators, and it doesn’t look like his reign will be ending anytime soon. The 23-year-old North Carolina native has figured out the formula for going viral, breaking major viewership records on the platform and weighing in as the site’s most-followed channel in 2021 over giant corporations like T-Series. On top of that, MrBeast has been making major efforts to diversify his content — most notably creating such products as his MrBeast Burger fast food restaurant, Feastables chocolate bars, and non-English language dubs for his content. MrBeast already has Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese language channels that have racked up millions of subscribers and views, even featuring celebrity voice actors like Spider-Man’s Luis Daniel Ramírez. During a March 7 episode of the Joe Rogan Podcast, MrBeast dropped another major teaser for his upcoming dubbed channels, saying that he has plans for a Japanese dub channel in the near future. MrBeast announces Japanese language dub channel with major anime actor That’s not all; he’s also got a major anime voice actor slated to play him, perking the ears of just about every anime fan in the vicinity. “Japan’s coming up,” he revealed. “I can’t say who, but we secured a giant voice actor from an anime to do my dubs, and whenever we launch in Japan, I know they’re gonna lose their freakin’ minds.” “Less than 10% of the world speaks English, so 90% of the world can’t even enjoy your content,” MrBeast added. “When I realized that, I was like wait a minute — 90% of the world can’t watch this stuff!” (Topic begins at 14:40) Although Donaldson didn’t let on who this actor might be, fans are already hypothesizing who they might be, with theories ranging from Attack on Titan’s Yuki Kaiji to the legendary Mamoru Miyano. For now, there’s no way to tell until the channel officially launches — another fact that’s also unknown at the time of writing.

MrBeast teases big plans for PewDiePie’s next subscriber milestone YouTube’s king of big-budget videos may have just teased his next major project, as revealed in a Tweet he published on November 15. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson hinted at a ‘big’ plan for PewDiePie’s next subscriber milestone, calling for Pewd’s ‘army of nine-year-olds’ to continue their fight against competitor channel T-Series in the interim. “I need the nine-year-old army to hold out for a while,” he wrote above a screenshot of T-Series’ and PewDiePie’s subscriber counts – which are steadily growing closer. “I have something big planned, but I need time. There is hope!” I need the 9 year old army to hold out for a while. I have something big planned but I need time. There is hope! pic.twitter.com/O5uQ4KzNcZ — MrBeast (@MrBeastYT) November 15, 2018 MrBeast is an avid supporter of YouTube’s most-subscribed creator, Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg. In fact, MrBeast even created a major advertisement campaign across his own city, buying out every billboard and even a truck to promote PewDiePie’s channel. This promotion saw a massive increase in subscribers to PewDiePie, who was nearly overtaken by Bollywood label T-Series in late October – months ahead of Social Blade’s projections for the channel’s growth. While Pewds has since reached a whopping total of 70 million subs, he and T-Series are neck and neck, yet again; but MrBeast isn’t giving up hope. “I’ll fight ‘til the day I die,” MrBeast said in response to a fan, who asked how long he would defend Pewds against his Bollywood nemesis. While MrBeast fights on American soil, one YouTuber is even supporting PewDiePie from the inside; Indian YouTuber ‘Saiman’ likewise bought out billboards and passed out flyers in PewDiePie’s defense, following a similar campaign for T-Series a few weeks beforehand.

MrBeast addresses viral photo with PewDiePie as collab rumors rise First, Donaldson addressed the attention his recent Instagram posts have gotten, saying he’s been uploading photos from his travels and was surprised at fans’ reactions to the pics. “I started throwing up random photos whenever I travel on Instagram and I can’t believe how many likes they get,” he wrote. “Why do so many people care about my life?” At the time of writing, MrBeast’s post with PewDiePie has accrued over 4 million likes since being posted just yesterday. For now, PewDiePie is gearing up to be a father after announcing his wife, Marzia’s, pregnancy in February.

  • MrBeast teams up with ToTouchAnEmu for viral Minions TikTok collab – Dexerto

MrBeast teams up with ToTouchAnEmu for viral Minions TikTok collab Instagram: mrbeast / TikTok: totouchanemu / Illumination EntertainmentYouTube star MrBeast joined forces with TikTok sensation ToTouchAnEmu for an unexpected collab that’s already racking up millions of views, thanks to the Minions. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is known for pumping out viral content on a regular basis. The YouTuber, who boasts over 99 million subscribers, took the internet by storm with his jaw-dropping Squid Game recreation last year — and now, he’s taking over TikTok with one of the platform’s biggest memes. If you’ve been on TikTok for any amount of time over the past month, you’ve likely seen the swaths of youths flooding theaters to watch ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ clad in suits and exchanging handshakes. The Minions have truly become a massive phenomenon, with the film raking in a reported $1.159 billion… and they came in clutch for ToTouchAnEmu’s latest TikTok video with MrBeast. ToTouchAnEmu is a veritable TikTok celebrity, who went viral thanks to his videos dancing to Kid Laroi’s ‘Stay’ filmed by a drone. He’s collabed with a few major names in the past, including the one and only Jason Derulo and even Bella Poarch, so a team-up with MrBeast seemed a long time coming… but no one expected it to include the Minions. At first, it looked as though the two content creators were about to shake their hips to ‘Stay’ — but MrBeast paused the music to include a giant inflatable Minion (including several friends in Minion suits) before carrying on with the trend. Click here if TikTok fails to load. The clip has garnered over 2.4 million views just hours after being uploaded early on July 22, and fans are clearly loving this pairing. “He’s made it,” one fan wrote. “This is it bro. Congrats. Bella was one thing, MrBeast is in a whole new level of cool.” “Ain’t no way!!” another said. “The most unexpected collab of the year,” another admitted. This cute collaboration is sure to brighten your day — especially considering fans are anxiously awaiting MrBeast’s “most expensive” video ever coming up soon.

  • MrBeast teases ambitious Netflix series ideas: 10,000 contestants & adult animated show – Dexerto

MrBeast teases ambitious Netflix series ideas: 10,000 contestants & adult animated show Instagram: MrBeast / NetflixJimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is already planning for an ambitious jump to Netflix, with multiple large-scale projects that “would fit better” on the streaming platform than YouTube. From competitions involving 10,000 fans to violent animated shows, here’s what he has in mind. While MrBeast is known for his YouTube content, having become one of the biggest personalities on the platform in recent years, the social media celeb isn’t afraid of new ventures beyond the Google-owned brand. We’ve already seen him branching out with the likes of MrBeast Burger and Feastables, but now, it appears he has some lofty goals in mind for a completely new platform. Netflix is in his sights, he revealed during an appearance on the FLAGRANT podcast. “We’re gonna do a Netflix show eventually,” he revealed. And although it’s seemingly early days yet, the popular figure already knows exactly what he wants to do on the platform best known for its binge-able shows. “YouTube’s not great for episodic content,” MrBeast explained. “People go to Netflix to watch multiple episodes,” whereas YouTube is more focused on quicker bursts of content. Thus, a more complicated production requiring far more screen time than a 10-20 minute YouTube video would be better fit on Netflix, he claimed. One such production would be his biggest yet, easily trumping the number of contestants involved in the iconic Squid Game video. MrBeast hopes to “fill a stadium with 10,000 people” and film it over a “10 episode” series. “Every episode we eliminate 10% of them. That would fit better on Netflix than YouTube. “I have a bunch of episodic stuff like that I would love to do on Netflix because it’s just a better platform for it and I’d love to hit a new audience.” Keeping the ball rolling, he then pitched another idea that takes existing videos and flips them on their head with adult twists. For instance, rather than flying 100 YouTubers to an island in real life and having them use paintball guns, a cartoon could instead feature real guns and thus, real violence. (MrBeast discusses his Netflix show ideas at the 2:58:00 mark below) “So it’s like an evil, Saw [version of] MrBeast,” he joked. “If someone doesn’t die, I just pick someone randomly. Whoever wins, wins the island.” Whether we’ll see either of these ideas come to life in the near future remains a mystery for now. But given his confidence when discussing the projects, it seems all but certain we’ll see MrBeast jumping over to Netflix in the near future.

On top of being a super-popular influencer with over 100 million subscribers, he’s also owner of his own fast-food chain and a line of chocolate bars called ‘Feastables.’ The influencer first released ‘Feastables’ bars earlier this year, and fans couldn’t get enough. Recently, the influencer hinted at more to come for his chocolate business in a podcast — and it looks like his words are ringing true, as he’s just announced a major collaboration with another big star. • MrBeast team addresses MrBeast Token “scam” targeting fans – Dexerto

MrBeast team addresses MrBeast Token “scam” targeting fans YouTube: MrBeastThe team behind MrBeast have responded to fans getting “scammed” by fake fan tokens that bear his name, saying its like “chasing ghosts” when reporting them. Over the last year or so, the internet has become increasingly infatuated by cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and the like as people look to hop onto the Web3 wave as early adopters. Plenty of content creators and personalities have gotten involved with investments of their own and the increased interest in blockchain technology has landed some of the internet’s biggest names in hot water. In some cases, content creators have come under fire for promoting investments in coins that have led to significant financial loss. Though, in the case of MrBeast, his name has been used to promote tokens that he has no say in, and it’s becoming a problem. MrBeast team responds to “fake” fan token scam If you’ve heard about the MrBeast Fan Token, you could be forgiven for thinking that the YouTuber is involved with it. These tokens have promoted everything he’s about – including giving back to the community. However, he has no involvement in them, and some have recently crashed in value, leading to fans losing a fair chunk of change. “Fake MrBeast fan tokens are popping up every week. I’m sure some of you have seen one or two of these fake MrBeast tokens recently,” MrBeast’s manager Reed Duchscher posted on LinkedIn. “Obviously, Jimmy and I hate seeing his fans getting scammed, but other than reporting them there’s not much we can do to stop these situations from happening. We’ve tried going the legal route, but for the most part it’s like chasing ghosts.” Duchscher noted that they aren’t “exactly sure what the solution is” but the value of the tokens is plummeting, which leaves fans out of pocket after being duped. It’s another example of being wary about what streamers are linked to. Unless they’re promoting it themselves, they’re probably not involved.

  • MrBeast takes photo with random guy he mistook for Elon Musk – Dexerto

MrBeast takes photo with random guy he mistook for Elon Musk YouTube: Mr Beast/PewDiePieYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson revealed that he got a photo with someone who he thought was Elon Musk, and, well, the internet hasn’t been too kind to him about it. Over the past few years, MrBeast and Elon Musk have been in pretty regular communication. Prior to the Tesla CEO purchasing Twitter – which he’s now renamed X – the pair had swapped a few tweets, with Donaldson offering him tips for how to dominate YouTube. Since he purchased the social media platform for $44 billion, Musk has promised that the YouTuber can run things if something happens to him, and MrBeast is definitely going to hold him to that. So, it’s only natural that when he thought he’d spotted Elon in person Jimmy would try and get a photo with him. However, it turns out that it wasn’t actually the Twitter/X owner that he’d had a chance run-in with. MrBeast mistakes actor for Elon Musk That’s right, on September 12, MrBeast revealed that, while at the All-In Summit in LA, he’d bumped into someone that he’d mistaken for Elon and decided to ask for a photo. “I thought this guy was Elon Musk but as I got closer I realized he wasn’t but I was in too deep on the picture to back out,” he posted, including the photo of himself looking pretty sheepish as the selfie was taken. “I can feel the pain in the thumbs up,” one fan replied. “Dude grabbed a selfie with Elon Buff,” another joked. “I don’t think Jimmy realizes how funny this is,” another said. “Hashtag embarrassing,” commented another. It didn’t take fans long to figure out that he’d bumped into Canadian actor Kevin Durand, who has starred in X-Men: Origins, Wolverine, and Real Steel. Musk was scheduled to speak at the conference, so it’s no surprise that MrBeast made a mistake. Maybe when they finally do meet, they’ll be able to replicate this photo.

MrBeast surprises small streamer with $50k just for completing Minecraft YouTube: MrBeast GamingYouTuber MrBeast has surprised an unsuspecting smaller Twitch streamer with $50,000, after challenging him to complete Minecraft in under an hour live on stream. Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is well-known on YouTube for his crazy video ideas, which are often incredibly high budget. Challenging his friends and family to do bizarre things, he offers them huge monetary rewards, and he also gives huge amounts of money and support to charity. In his latest main channel video, he even gave away houses to people for just $1, making people emotional with the insane gift. The YouTuber also set up a gaming-specific channel in 2020 which has already racked up over 15 million followers. This channel takes on a similar premise to his main channel, in that he issues viewers and friends weird challenges to complete within games like Minecraft and GTA, all for some crazy prizes. For his latest gaming channel video, he challenged a smaller streamer while he was live on Twitch to complete Minecraft in under an hour. If he completed the challenge, he would win $50,000. The streamer in question was Benni, a.k.a realbenex, a 19-year-old from Germany who has just over 68,000 followers on Twitch and largely centers his content around Minecraft. Read More: xQc planning a ‘Joe Rogan-style’ podcast – Initially, Benni looked baffled by MrBeasts’s sudden appearance, with the chat freaking out, and although he said he was “shaking,” he wasted no time in getting to work on beating the game. He was told to start a new world but was not allowed to reset, meaning he had to work with whatever seed he was given, even if it was an unlucky one. While Jimmy, Karl Jacobs, and other members of the team tried to distract the streamer by sending donations with bizarre messages attached, Benni kept his cool and continued his mission. To his viewers’ delight, the streamer managed to complete the game well ahead of his allotted hour at just over 44 minutes. Although Jimmy wasn’t able to donate anything over $1000 via Twitch, he assured fans that he did in fact send Benni his prize of $50,000. Many streamers will no doubt now be keeping an eye out to see if MrBeast makes an appearance in their stream, on the off chance that they could win big.

  • MrBeast takes aim at YouTube over demonetization practices – Dexerto

MrBeast takes aim at YouTube over demonetization practices MrBeast / YouTubeSince YouTube has been making a greater push to clean up ad-friendly content, videos from big-name broadcasters have been getting caught in the crossfire of the video purge, and some of them are not happy. YouTube has been under fire for consecutive decisions involving their initiative to use technology in order to make sweeping runs across their platform purging subscriber-bots to flagging videos for inappropriate content. This time popular YouTuber MrBeast had a recent submission flagged and subsequently demonetized, which was met with furious contempt from the longtime online personality. Lol it’s still demonetized. The video made no money and underperformed, I feel so loved by the platform. — BeastMr (@MrBeastYT) December 26, 2018 MrBeast used Twitter to voice his scorn and seek out answers as to why his latest video “How I Gave Away $1,000,000” was demonetized a day after uploading. “This is literally my favorite video and now it won’t get promoted. I’m fucking furious, please make it green,” MrBeast said. The video was the culmination of generous moments the YouTuber had made totaling an outrageous amount of money. But due to YouTube’s demonetizing sweeps, the submission was flagged thus receiving no promotion from the site and underperforming MrBeast’s expectations. This is literally my favorite video and now it won’t get promoted. I’M FUCKEN FURIOUS, PLEASE MAKE IT GREEN — BeastMr (@MrBeastYT) December 25, 2018 YouTube replied to his inquiry suggesting to appeal the case, citing their system’s ability to make mistakes but improving on them with every clarification made. “If you haven’t already, please appeal. The system can make mistakes but it learns/improves with each manual review. Our expert will definitely take a look and get back to you via email. Thanks,” the company said. The changes to the video-hosting platform have drawn ire from many, but YouTube looks to stay on course as it continues its push to clean up the submissions on its site.

YouTube philanthropist MrBeast has given away millions of dollars in cash and possessions over the last few years. This time, he may have found one of his youngest fans. Living in Sarasota, Florida, Alexander and his 12-year-old brother Preston Hedge both love watching YouTube creator MrBeast together. Back in July of 2021, MrBeast announced a new ‘executive producer’ collection of merch, so Hedge asked his dad if he could get something so his name could appear in the credits of the next video. MrBeast gifts “executive producer” Tesla “We paused it at Alexander’s name, and you know, he thought that was very cool,” Alexander’s father, Thomas Hedge told the Sarasota Herald Tribune. “We pointed to it, got some pictures on the screen, and then we didn’t push play anymore.” It wasn’t until two days later when Alexander met with some friends at a local restaurant when he learned the news of him winning a car. “Naturally, I’m skeptical, I’m like, ‘come on Issac, you’re kidding around right?” “MrBeast brought out the Tesla and said that we didn’t tell you guys, but we wrapped all the names of the people who bought the T-shirt on the Tesla,” Hedge said in disbelief. “And one of his friends is going to pick up the name of the person who wins.” (Timestamp at 15:12 for mobile readers) After going back to watch the video and seeing Chandler choose his name out of the hundreds on the car, Alexander’s jaw-dropped and he asked his dad: “Is this real?” It was indeed real, and just a few weeks later, MrBeast delivered the vehicle to the Hedges, who have since been using it to transport the kids back and forth from school. Alexander is still a few years away from the legal driving age, so he’ll have to let his dad chauffeur him around for a while until he can take the MrBeast Tesla out for a spin himself.

  • MrBeast suggests MrBeast Burger menu change and immediately regrets it – Dexerto

MrBeast suggests MrBeast Burger menu change and immediately regrets it YouTube: MrBeastYouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has suggested a menu addition to his Beast Burger restaurants but immediately regretted it after fans pleaded for the creator to rethink his idea. MrBeast is one of the most popular creators in the world and has amassed close to 100M subscribers on YouTube to date. His wacky philanthropic videos, where he frequently gives away millions to fans, is arguably some of the best content on the platform. In 2020, Donaldson expanded his YouTube empire with the launch of his Beast Burger restaurants, which are now available at over 1000 locations across the US and UK. While burgers are his typical dish, the content creator had an idea to start selling sushi in his burger chain but quickly regretted that suggestion after fans weighed in with their thoughts. One fan of the YouTube star revealed in a May 19 tweet that one food delivery service listed Jimmy’s restaurant chain as “celebrating Asian culture and cuisine.” The tweet, which now has close to 100k likes, actually caught the attention of MrBeast himself and prompted an idea to start serving some Asian food. “Should we start selling sushi? Haha,” the YouTuber responded. However, his fans weren’t exactly sold on the sushi idea. Many began pointing out the current issues Beast Burger has with undercooked food. “No. The burgers aren’t already being cooked to safety standards in some locations,” responded one fan. “Imagine killing someone with bad or mishandled fish.” No. The burgers aren’t already being cooked to safety standards in some locations(look at the support page). However, as one fan noted, Sushi Beast translates to Sushi-jū in Japanese, which sounds pretty cool.

  • MrBeast suing company responsible for MrBeast Burger as fans report “revolting” food quality – Dexerto

MrBeast suing company responsible for MrBeast Burger as fans report “revolting” food quality Instagram: MrBeastMrBeast is suing the company responsible for managing his branded fast food chain after fans report “revolting” food quality was being served. In November 2020 James Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, partnered with Virtual Dining Concepts, a company that specializes in “ghost kitchens”, to open a chain of MrBeast branded fast food “virtual restaurants”. However, over the several years of MrBeast Burger’s existence, the burger chain has received a sea of complaints from fans as customers received subpar quality food which at times was still raw. Due to the complaints, MrBeast is now suing Virtual Dining Concepts for their quality control problems, as first reported by Bloomberg. “Customers have referred to the burgers as being ‘disgusting’, ‘revolting,’ and ‘inedible’”, the lawsuit says of the negative reviews that MrBeast Burger has received. “There are thousands of negative reviews, articles, and comments from people who are deeply disappointed by the fact that MrBeast would put his name on this product,” the lawsuit reads. “Because the entire business is based on the tremendous global value of the MrBeast brand, it is MrBeast himself, and not Virtual Dining Concepts, who has borne the brunt of the (justified) attacks and criticisms.” Included is the point MrBeast allegedly has not received payments as of yet. “To be clear, while this business has made millions of dollars, MrBeast has not received a dime,” the lawsuit claims. The lawsuit includes hundreds of exhibits of reviews and evidence, from videos by H3H3 and Eddy Burback, to average fans documenting the subpar food quality across social media, and dozens of news reports on the issue. MrBeast has also publicly stated on Twitter that he prefers managing his Feastables line as he has more control over it. “It’s impossible to guarantee the quality of orders with virtual restaurants. Hurts my soul to see orders messed up. Sadly I can’t get out of my deal with [MrBeast Burger]”, he said. “Hence why I’m never giving up control of Feastables so I can always do what’s best for my fans. Harsh lesson to learn.”
