CodeMiko breaks down on-stream after inappropriate comments from “creepy” viewers Twitch/Instagram: CodeMikoWhile chatting with viewers on Twitch, popular VTuber ‘CodeMiko’ broke down and had to remove herself from the broadcast for several minutes after facing a barrage of inappropriate comments over her attire. For many female content creators, dealing with inappropriate comments is simply viewed as part of the job. Ranging from minor remarks to claims of full-blown sexual harassment, female streamers often find themselves in extremely uncomfortable, and even dangerous, situations. During a stream on her Twitch channel, CodeMiko’s technician — the wizard behind Twitch’s most well-known VTuber — broke down in tears after being bombarded by inappropriate comments, and slammed those viewers for the way they interact with women on the platform. While testing out some new motion-capture equipment for her VTuber streams, Miko’s technician had to put on a new mo-cap outfit. While doing so, some of her viewers began to comment on the attire, and she quickly tried nipping the conversation in the bud: “Chat, don’t be weird.” Unfortunately, things escalated as some viewers began making sexually suggestive comments. “You wouldn’t like [it if I said] ‘Did your d**k get smaller? Your crotch area looks smaller today’,” the technician quickly clapped back at them. As some viewers tried to justify their comments, Miko chastised them again: “There are certain ways [that] you say certain things that makes it creepy!” The VTuber also pointed out the difference between receiving a compliment from a close friend, compared to a random stranger on the internet. “It’s like it’s wrong for me to feel uncomfortable [when people make these comments],” the streamer revealed. “It’s like if I feel uncomfortable, then [viewers] are just like ‘wear [something else]’.” Despite trying to stay positive in the face of such harassment, Miko’s technician nearly broke down into tears, and had to exit the stream for several minutes in order to collect herself before returning. Miko eventually continued testing out her new VTuber gear, but the incident serves as another stark reminder of the issues female streamers must contend with that their male counterparts do not, and the overwhelming harassment many female content creators face on a daily basis.

CodeMiko doesn’t understand why VTuber fans are so “protective” amid PewDiePie backlash – Dexerto
CodeMiko doesn’t understand why VTuber fans are so “protective” amid PewDiePie backlash Twitch: CodeMikoCodeMiko’s creator, the Technician, called into the H3H3 podcast to share her experience online, and revealed that she doesn’t understand why the VTuber community is so “protective” following backlash against PewDiePie for his new avatar. VTuber CodeMiko is a rapidly growing creator on Twitch, using an expensive movement-tracking suit to bring a colorful avatar to life in real-time. Viewers are able to spend Twitch’s currency, Bits, to alter aspects of Miko’s environment and body, making her streams hugely interactive, and there’s no doubt that the developer, or Technician as she calls herself, is a genius for setting it all up. VTubers are becoming so popular, that even YouTube PewDiePie wanted in on the action, though his decision to use an avatar in his videos was not well-received by some fans. Some said that his audience is too ‘edgy’ and would only serve to generate hate towards the VTuber community. However, many also set to work attempting to override the hate against PewDiePie with positivity for the community instead. Pokimane is another example of a creator who was called out for trying to ‘cash in’ on the trend. Now, after calling into Ethan and Hila Klein’s H3H3 podcast, CodeMiko’s Technician revealed her stance on the whole drama. Ethan asked her why people were so protective over the idea of what a VTuber is who can be a VTuber. “I don’t know,” she said. “I don’t know. I can’t relate, to be honest. Because every human being is born as a human being, so I don’t understand how you could be protective of it? I don’t know. That mentality I never really understood. I think maybe it’s because I come from the tech side. And maybe it’s because they come from a more cultural, anime side?” Topic starts at 8:50 After Ethan asked whether CodeMiko’s creator feels accepted within the VTuber community, she answered: “I think so? I hope so. I do have a few VTuber friends. I don’t really think about whether I’m accepted, I’ve never really thought about it. I think I am?” She went onto reiterate that some VTuber fans seem to have an “anime-central culture,” and that although she jokes that she’s seen a lot of anime, she has actually only read the Death Note manga. It’s clear that the viewers and creators in the community don’t have one unifying opinion about PewDiePie trying out an avatar for himself, but CodeMiko definitely seems to be more open to the idea of others joining the community.

CoD streamer claims she was doxxed & sent death threats over her clothing – Dexerto
CoD streamer claims she was doxxed & sent death threats over her clothing An image of two female Twitch personalities went viral, and now one of the streamers is saying she’s receiving death threats as a result of it. How streamers dress on Twitch has long been a point of contention among viewers, and that might have reached its boiling point shortly into 2020. Paymoneywubby posted an image of two females, asking if viewers could tell which one was from adult site Chaturbate and which was from the Amazon-owned platform, before revealing both of them were Twitch streamers. https://twitter.com/PaymoneyWubby/status/1212588989200265217 While he did block out of the faces of the two streamers, people were still able to figure out who they were, and ghostgirlxoxx, the woman with the avocado covering her face, says she has been doxxed and given death threats. “Yeaaaa that’s me on the left in the picture, thanks to him now I have death threats and someone found my address,” she tweeted. Yeaaaa that’s me on the left in the picture thanks to him now I have death threats and someone found my address .. but thank u so much @heysuspenders ur telling nothing but the truth ❤️ — Fatooma 💕🥺 (@ghostgirlxoxx) January 2, 2020 Ghostgirl revealed who she was in a response to Wubby’s tweet that also went viral, which claimed people only mention the Twitch Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when it comes to female streamers. “Funny how when the topic of breaking Twitch’s TOS comes up, it’s ONLY about t*ts,” fellow streamer suspenders said. “Never about the RAMPANT racism, homophobia, transphobia and other bigotry that actually affects streamers.” https://twitter.com/heysuspenders/status/1212805879621390337 Three days after Wubby’s initial tweet, another streamer discovered ghostgirl was the third-largest Call of Duty channel on Twitch and posted a screenshot of her to his 22,000+ Twitter followers, asking why she is being watched by so many people. https://twitter.com/Entxurage/status/1213634078253207558 She says she’s been streaming for four years now and at this point, it’s about more than just the money. That’s not all that surprising to hear considering a big part of being a streamer is connecting with your audience, and doing things they like to see. With that said, she does concede that for a lot of people it is about the cash rather than the enjoyment of interacting with viewers. I been doing this for 4 years it’s not just money I been playing games belly dancing etc advice … but alot of people do it for the money — Fatooma 💕🥺 (@ghostgirlxoxx) January 5, 2020 Ghostgirl says she belly dances, which is why she streams with an exposed stomach, but she plays a wide variety of games on the platform. Some of these games include Call of Duty, Outlast, and League of Legends, just to name a few. She boasts over 58,000 followers on Twitch, with nearly 3,000 gained since the Wubby tweet. It should be eye-opening to many to see this type of behavior happen to female streamers, especially since it’s not the first time.

CoD streamer humiliated as angry dad rages in and shuts down stream – Dexerto
CoD streamer humiliated as angry dad rages in and shuts down stream Pixabay / FreepikWhile streaming the Modern Warfare beta, Twitch streamer ‘foreal’ had his Call of Duty broadcast shut down abruptly after his father came in raging. Almost everyone at some point has been scolded by one of their parents when they were growing up, whether it was for failing to do chores, getting homework done, or trying to stay up too late. In a totally relatable moment, foreal’s Twitch stream was ended early after his father forced him to shut down the broadcast without sparing him from the humiliation of being told off in front of viewers. Angry father ends son’s Twitch stream The Call of Duty streamer had left his stream to talk to his father, when he re-emerged and said, “Alright later, boys! I’ll be seeing you, okay?” Read More: Shroud calls Modern Warfare “best CoD ever” – As the boy went to turn his stream off, his head suddenly snapped towards the door out of panic. “Dude, stop! Dad, do not!” he exclaimed, breaking off as he tried to cover up his camera with his hand. Then like the sound of loud thunder, the streamer’s dad screamed “Are you fucking kidding me!? Shut the stream…” before the audio cut out. While it’s unclear what got the father so angry, the teen’s broadcast was pushing to five hours long, so perhaps he had been told previously to end the broadcast and refused to, or maybe it was it was a school night. Either way, he wasn’t having it. Regardless, the situation made for an awkward end to his stream. While embarrassing, the streamer has over 2,000 followers, which is impressive at his age, and given the fact that fellow teen Bugha won $30 million at the first ever Fortnite World Cup in July 2019, it’s not unsurprising that more youths want to pursue careers on Twitch. Not the first time a stream has been ruined by a parent During a July 21 stream, Twitch streamer ‘Astro’ had his broadcast hilariously interrupted when his mother walked in on him playing the music game ‘Beatsmaps’. The anime rhythm game features a community created level which includes NSFW imagery, and the streamer’s mom decided to walk in at the worst possible time. While the moment was embarrassing for the streamer, we’ve all been there. If nothing else, this proves that parents don’t care whether you are with a group of friends, or streaming for thousands on Twitch – if they’re mad, they’re going to let you know. UPDATE 11:47AM PST SEPTEMBER 21: ‘foreal’ has since provided more details on what provoked his father’s rage, and spoke about what happened during his September 21 broadcast. The streamer revealed that in excitement over being gifted 100 subs, his celebration was a little too loud, resulting in his dad rushing upstairs and forcing him to cut the stream.

CoD Pro Simp responds after even PewDiePie roasts his name – Dexerto
CoD Pro Simp responds after even PewDiePie roasts his name YouTube : PewDiePie / Call of Duty LeagueProfessional Call of Duty player Chris ‘Simp’ Lehr has finally responded to people mocking his name after even YouTube king PewDiePie roasted him for it. When Simp started to make a name for himself in the Call of Duty scene back in 2015 and 2016, the term hadn’t taken on the meaning it has in the last year or so. Traditionally, it might mean someone is silly or foolish, but Urban Dictionary provides some interesting definitions based on current slang. In a video published on March 9, PewDiePie addresses ‘simps’, telling people not to call him one, and found himself reacting to a video of the CoD pro – and immediately called him out for it. Watching a video of Puckett calling in the Atlanta FaZe star to the main stage, Pewds couldn’t contain his laughter. “This f**king guy has named himself Simp, that’s how you know it’s gone too far,” the Swede said. “People just willingly call themselves Simp now,” he added, laughing at the idea of it throughout. Obviously, given the connotations of the word, which PewDiePie himself eloquently explained, there has been a lot of talk for a while about the idea of Simp changing his name, but it seems Pewds’ video brought up the conversation once again. Now, Simp has finally spoken out about the issue, addressing whether or not he will be changing his name like many have called for him to do. In a now-deleted tweet, Simp explained that he has considered changing his name due to what it now represents, but took to Reddit to elaborate further. He said that it’s “too late” to change his name now, but does say that random people on social media spamming “simp” is “annoying.” So, that seems to answer it once and for all. It looks as though Simp has considered changing but, at the end of the day, he became a world champion under that moniker, and maybe one day his name will become bigger than its current meaning. For now, though, he might have to put up with the annoying comments and memes made towards him.

He has been removed from the SoaR Gaming roster effective immediately. — SoaR (@SoaRGaming) March 5, 2020 Riemer has also opened up on the situation with a Tweet of his own, where he apologized to his community for what he called the “biggest mistake of my entire life.” “I just want to thank SoaR for doing what they needed to do,” he said in a short video addressing his removal from the organization. “…I hope you guys know that I have no hatred towards them, or anything like that. I have nothing but love for those people.” Don’t do what I did. Ever. Literally everything was going perfectly in life and one mistake ruined everything I’ve been doing for year. I cannot put into words how sorry I am and how dangerous what I did last night was. pic.twitter.com/O781ecXxJN — Carl (@Carllamaa) March 5, 2020 The content creator also admitted that he had been drinking during the offending stream, confirming that he had been “clearly intoxicated” in another video discussing the situation. He also denied rumors that he and fiance Aliciya allegedly split up due to the drama, explaining that his relationship is still intact and that she is “unbelievably upset” for him. Just so you guys know Aliciya and I are still together, idk who decided to start spreading that but she’s the most supportive thing in my life. She was unbelievably upset for me and still is, at least I still have her. — Carl (@Carllamaa) March 5, 2020 An active Call of Duty trickshotter, Riemer still boasts an active YouTube channel, where he sports an impressive 850,000 subscribers. While there’s no telling how long his Twitch ban will last, his community remains supportive in spite of a debilitating development that has brought a huge change to his plans as a gaming content creator.

CoD pro Clayster is the world’s highest-earning Fall Guys player – Dexerto
CoD pro Clayster is the world’s highest-earning Fall Guys player Call of Duty pro James “Clayster” Eubanks is also now the highest-earning Fall Guys player in the world. As the esports industry grows, there’s more money than ever to be made from competing. The best part of it all is that anybody can participate, and go from playing in small online tournaments to sold-out stadiums. James “Clayster” Eubanks is considered to be one of the greatest Call of Duty players of all time, with three World Championship titles under his belt. Throughout his 14 years competing in the game, he’s played under some of the biggest organizations. Now, the 30-year-old CoD pro could claim another, yet a rather unusual title — that being the highest earning Fall Guys player in the world. Clayster becomes highest earning Fall Guy player Clayster was invited to CouRageJD’s $100k Fall Guys tournament, and despite joining late and missing the first two games, the CoD pro put in a notable performance — taking home just shy of $17k. Following the tournament, Clayster took to Twitter, where he learned from his fans that he could be the highest-earning Fall Guys player after his winnings. “If this is correct, I just became the #1 Fall Guys earner,” he wrote, and in a follow-up tweet, he added: “They just told me the total I made was $16,973.21. Actually mindblown.” the just told me the total i made was $16,973.21. — Clayster (@Clayster) October 1, 2022 actually mindblown. According to esportsearnings, Twitch streamer thedragonfeeney currently holds the top spot for the highest Fall Guys earnings with $13,447.51. It’s worth noting that the stats are only recorded from the six most notable Fall Guys tournaments consisting of the biggest prize pools. At the time of writing, the site has still not been updated to add CouRage’s tournament. Considering the tournament prize pool tops those already on the list, it shouldn’t be long till it’s added. Regardless, Clayster has already claimed the title in his bio on Twitter. Even if he holds the top spot or not, it’s still remarkable that one of Call of Duty’s superstars will be among the highest earners in Fall Guys.

CM Punk explains how Logan & Jake Paul are like “old-school wrestlers” Complex/AEWPro wrestling’s CM Punk recently explained how Logan & Jake Paul have successfully brought a touch of old-school wrestling drama to the world of boxing promotion, and why it seems to be working for them. As someone who has dealt in the worlds of Mixed Martial Arts and professional wrestling, CM Punk has a unique outlook on the fighting careers of the Ohio-born Paul brothers. In an interview on ESPN’s SportsNation, the Chicago native explained that he thinks that the duo’s success is due to how they embrace the drama and storylines, similar to the way the wrestling business works. CM Punk compares Logan & Jake Paul’s boxing success to wrestling When asked how he feels about the Paul brothers’ involvement in boxing, Punk highlighted the duality between the worlds of pro wrestling and boxing: “For lack of a better term, it’s old-school pro wrestling, right? You could say they’re crossing over, but there is so many similarities between the businesses.” He went on to say that he respects the duo for committing to the sport and putting their bodies on the line: “People want to see them get knocked out, they know this, but they’re putting themselves out there… I’ll never criticize — in a negative way or fashion — anybody who makes the walk, anybody who trains their a** off, because I did it and I know what it takes.” Punk also had high praise for the brothers’ business-savvy decisions and compared them to Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey, who both had successful turns with the WWE after their respective fighting careers were over. The former MMA fighter closed out by suggesting that the Pauls have nailed what’s most important about the entire business: “The bottom line is about making money, and if you’re making money, you’re technically not doing anything wrong.”

Cloakzy schemes ingenious plan to stream with Dr Disrespect on Twitch – Dexerto
Cloakzy schemes ingenious plan to stream with Dr Disrespect on Twitch Twitch/Cloakzy/YouTube/DrDisrespectPopular streamer Cloakzy is willing to risk a Twitch ban in order to play with Dr Disrespect and hatched a brilliant plan for how he plans to go about doing it. Ever since Dr Disrespect was banned on Twitch for seemingly unknown reasons back in the Summer of 2020, fans have been unable to watch the two-time compete with or against the platform’s streamers due to its rules. This ultimately meant that before his jump to YouTube, TimTheTatman found himself lonely and not allowed to queue up with his friend. And now, Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore is willing to risk a month-long ban to stream with the Doc. In a recent broadcast, Lepore was asked about wanting to stream with Doc and like an evil villain in a movie, revealed his master plan to the world, right there in the open. “”I want to play with @drdisrespect so fucking bad..”” – @cloakzy pic.twitter.com/iGKksKgx0Q — Wicked Good Gaming (@WickedGoodGames) September 27, 2021 Cloakzy reveals plan to stream with Dr Disrespect “I want to play with Doc so f**king bad!” he exclaimed. “What if I stream with Doc, cause Z didn’t get banned, so I’m thinking, I stream with Doc and the worst thing that happens is I get banned for a week or a month.” Of course, Cloakzy was referring to ZLaner streaming with the two-time on Twitch and miraculously dodging a ban, suggesting it was safe for others to do the same despite the Amazon-owned platform’s rules prohibiting it. Twitch’s guidelines state that “it is prohibited to use your channel to knowingly feature or advertise a suspended user.” Cloakzy sees a Twitch ban as a win For Cloakzy, a ban would be a win-win for him, because he would use his time suspended to go on a nice vacation and take advantage of the break. “I go to Bora Bora for a week or two!” he glowed, sensing the risk-reward to playing with Doc was totally worth it. It remains to be seen if he will end up actually streaming with the two-time and if Twitch’s stance has changed. Notably, back in August, Doc revealed he knows the reason for his ban and is actually suing the platform because of it. In any case, if Cloakzy does stream with Doc and doesn’t get banned, it’s going to raise a lot more questions than answers, especially with Twitch’s rules so clear on the subject.

Clubhouse founder Daisy Keech explains why she’s leaving the org – Dexerto
Clubhouse founder Daisy Keech explains why she’s leaving the org YouTube: Daisy Keech[jwplayer ksH6zuKH]TikToker and YouTube star Daisy Keech is leaving the Clubhouse, a content group meant to house female creators — despite having founded the organization herself after exiting the Hype House in March. Daisy Keech ruffled TikTok feathers after exposing one of the app’s biggest content groups, the Hype House, claiming that fellow co-founder Thomas Petrou was making important business decisions without her knowledge. Shortly thereafter, Keech left the group to found her own organization, the Clubhouse, which featured several female content creators like YouTuber and Instagram model Abby Rao. However, nearly five months later, Keech has announced that she is leaving content groups behind altogether, revealing that she is exiting the Clubhouse to follow passions outside of YouTube and TikTok. In an August 4 YouTube video, Keech explained that she wants to pursue interior design and home renovation, and is currently living on her own, rather than with a group of fellow content creators. “The reason I’m moving out is that I really need to focus on myself and my own brand that I truly want to build,” she began. “I’ve just been thinking, like, what’s my passion in life? Like, what makes me happy?” “As I was looking for homes, I was like, ‘Wow, I would love to start buying homes and renovating them,’” she continued. “For me, the whole interior design, and making the outside super aesthetic and pretty, like, that feeds something in my soul.” This marks a major turn for the TikTok star, with Keech having moved out of the Hype House over legal concerns in March. According to Keech, co-founder Thomas Petrou had left her out of important brand deals and even denied her access to the group’s social media accounts. That’s not all; Keech even took legal action against the Hype House and sued the group, although no news has yet to come of her suit at the time of writing. For now, fans will have to watch and wait for interior design updates from the TikToker. Who knows; she could be the next Property Brothers!

Clubhouse user accuses MrBeast of racism after being removed from call YouTube: MrBeastA user of the app Clubhouse, Farokh Sarmad, has accused MrBeast of removing him from a call due to the fact he couldn’t pronounce his name, though other members of the call are disputing this user’s version of events. Clubhouse is a newly released social networking app that allows users to join huge group calls where they can listen to conversations and interviews on a wide variety of topics. The app is currently invite-only, and this has made joining the community even more appealing for many. This has naturally attracted many influencers and celebrities to the app, with Elon Musk and Kanye West even agreeing to do a voice-chat together. YouTuber Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson was one creator people were looking forward to seeing on the app. Known for his crazy YouTube videos, fans felt that the 22-year-old would have a lot to offer the community. However on February 15, Farokh Sarmad, Clubhouse user and founder of Goodlife Media, alleged via Twitter that: “Mr. Beast just threw me out of his stage on Clubhouse after bringing me up saying: ‘I can’t spell your name so let me yote you out.’” https://twitter.com/farokhgoodlife/status/1361185051166261258 Farokh said that Jimmy “asked the audience to put photos of ourselves with Gary Vee so I did. He invited me on his stage filled with white dudes only, skipped me twice, then came back to me and just cut me to say that. I didn’t even place a word in.” He described the situation as “blatant racism” and said he felt “disgusted” and “shocked.” https://twitter.com/farokhgoodlife/status/1361185745973706753 However, some of the other users who were in the Clubhouse call at the time claimed that that was not how the situation really happened. Twitter user Sealow called the accusations “slander,” writing: “This is completely false. “Jimmy made it clear to everyone on the panel that he wanted a smaller room and that he was going to remove people. I was one of the 4-6 people that got removed.” This is completely false. Jimmy made it clear to everyone on the panel that he wanted a smaller room and that he was going to remove people. Modding is chaos.” Hey, fellow Montrealer. That’s not what happened. Cloakzy officially parts ways with FaZe Clan after contract dispute – Dexerto
Cloakzy officially parts ways with FaZe Clan after contract dispute FaZe Clan / via IBuyPowerDennis ‘cloakzy’ Lepore and FaZe Clan have officially agreed to part ways, putting an end to the drawn out contract dispute between the two parties. Since the beginning of 2019, Cloakzy has been trying to get out of his contract with FaZe, which he said was similarly structured to that of Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney. During the drawn out saga between Tfue and FaZe, the American streamer identified Cloakzy’s contract as being the “same illegal contract” that he once had. Like Tfue’s situation, Cloakzy has been trying to step away from the deal with FaZe Clan since signing with them in 2017. In a May 4, 2020 stream Cloakzy said that he was in a “really bad contract” and was looking forward to it ending in the spring of 2021. Since then, the terms of his deal are near its end and both parties are going their separate ways. Cloakzy and FaZe Clan agree to part ways I want to apologize for everything negative I’ve said about FaZe Clan as we worked through my contract. I am grateful for everything they’ve done for me, and am happy we have come to an agreement to part ways. I wish nothing but the best for everyone over at FaZe. — cloakzy (@cloakzy) March 9, 2021 “I want to apologize for everything negative I’ve said about FaZe Clan as we worked through my contract,” Cloakzy said on March 9. “I am grateful for everything they’ve done for me, and am happy we have come to an agreement to part ways. I wish nothing but the best for everyone over at FaZe.” Cloakzy had tweeted the statement twice, with the first time including quotation marks around the message that people quickly pointed out must have been a mistake. FaZe Clan have yet to publicly acknowledge the split. Dexerto has reached out to FaZe Clan and Cloakzy for comment. The 26-year-old has been growing his stream throughout the saga. The former Fortnite pro has since been diving into Call of Duty’s battle royale, Warzone, with it taking over his Twitch channel in 2021. What’s next for Cloakzy? Now speculation is mounting on the next step Cloak will take in his career. In the hours after announcing his departure from FaZe, Cloak even joked about joining NICKMERC’s MFAM. While there’s plenty of orgs that could be bolstered by Cloakzy’s profile as a competitive player, or simply as a content creator, there’s zero indication of him rushing into another contract. Cloakzy is now a free agent for the first time in four years and is said to be considering going pro in Fortnite once again, Warzone, or possibly even Valorant.

Cloakzy reunites with Dr Disrespect in first Kick & YouTube multi-stream Instagram: DrDisrespect / CloakzyCloakzy has announced the end of his exclusive contract with Twitch, celebrating by reuniting with Dr Disrespect and returning to Youtube while also venturing over to Kick. Content creator and professional gamer Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore is best known for streaming himself playing Fortnite and Warzone. He previously made headlines after publicizing his messy split from the Faze Clan, after signing what Cloakzy referred to as a “really bad” contract. The streamer was snagged by Twitch in an exclusive contract with the platform but has since announced that it has ended as of June 16, 2023. Now, Cloakzy is celebrating his newfound freedom, reuniting with ‘Dr Disrespect’, and posting new content to Kick and YouTube. Cloakzy hosted first YouTube stream on June 22, playing xDefiant with Dr Disrespect and ‘Tim The Tatman’. Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments, supporting the streamer’s move to new platforms as well as his first stream back with his long-time friends. “About Time…! The heck with the Purple Snakes [sic],” one commenter said, referring to Twitch. Another posted, “I personally can’t stand Twitch so whenever I get a YouTube notification for a live I’ll be here.” “Cloak gonna be coming to [YouTube] whether he has an exclusivity or not once he realizes the benefits [laughing out loud],” a fan commented on the stream, remaining hopeful that Cloakzy might frequent the platform more often. However, it seems Cloaky intends to stick predominantly with Twitch in the immediate future. “We are going to mostly stream on Twitch,” he said, in the finishing moments of his stream. “But twice or three times a week we’ll be duo-streaming on Kick and YouTube… Just to play with Doc and get some content.” Cloakzy concluded with, “First time ever streaming on YouTube, it was f***in’ lit.” For all the latest entertainment news, be sure to check out our page here.

Cloakzy explains why he turned down huge multi-million dollar deal to join Mixer with Ninja – Dexerto
Cloakzy explains why he turned down huge multi-million dollar deal to join Mixer with Ninja YouTube: TimTheTatmanYouTuber and Twitch streamer, Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore has revealed that he was offered a $7 million deal by Microsoft’s streaming platform, Mixer, before the platform went defunct. The streamer revealed while he was talking about the advantages of streaming on Kick, along with Ninja on TimTheTatman‘s stream. The three were collaborating together as they were opening expensive cases in CS:GO and their goal was to open crates worth 10,000 in their latest stream. Cloakzy expressed that he wants to reveal the deal he got, even if these things are usually kept private. “F*** it, I’ll say the deal. I’m in,” – but Ninja assumed was the streamer about to reveal a potential move to Kick. He attempted to stop him from revealing any details about it, but, Cloakzy explained he was talking about a deal he was offered years ago. What was the $7 million deal offered to Cloakzy? The YouTuber said, “Mixer brought me a deal worth 7 million dollars.” Cloakzy added, “And I said no to it because I care about every single person that has subbed to me and their sub streak. That’s what I cared about. I said no to seven million dollars.” “That would have been double what I made ten years on Twitch. And I cared about everyone’s sub streaks so I said no to it.” Topic starts at 2:56:20 Many streamers have been looking for a better option than Twitch, which has led to the debate about Kick gain traction. The streaming platform has enjoyed a rise in popularity especially after big creators like xQc, joined in a deal worth $100 million. Even Ninja has started streaming on Kick after the new restrictions imposed on Twitch regarding simulcasting on other websites. Creators cannot stream on multiple platforms while continuing to stream on Twitch without getting banned. Ninja himself joined Mixer, in a deal estimated to be worth more than $10 million, as did shroud, but when the platform shut down, they both moved back to Twitch.

Cloakzy finally hits Twitch streamer market again after messy FaZe exit: “Sign me up!” – Dexerto
Cloakzy finally hits Twitch streamer market again after messy FaZe exit: “Sign me up!” MLGPopular Twitch streamer Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore is actively looking to join another esports organization after his planned Florida move, following his high-profile split from gaming giants FaZe Clan earlier this year. Cloakzy has spent the last two years trying to get out of his 2017 deal with FaZe, after Tfue’s drawn-out battle with the org revealed Lepore’s agreement was actually also “illegal” and ill-favored for the star. Like Tfue’s situation, Cloakzy claimed he was in a “really bad contract” and attempted to cordially split with FaZe. The planned exit dragged on for almost two years, however, with Lepore “trapped” — according to the star creator — by several contract clauses that favored FaZe in the dispute. That all finally came to an end on March 9. Now Cloakzy is a free agent on the very busy content creator market, and the Twitch star plans to take full advantage of his “freedom” to join another popular org. The former Fortnite pro admitted he “really wants to join a new org” midway through his June 6 stream, and revealed he’s already sent his agency to feel out options on the Twitch market. “I kinda wanna join an org,” the streamer repeated twice. There are a few issues Cloakzy will face if he wants to link up with another one of the heavyweight esports organizations. Perhaps the biggest options on the market right now are FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves. One is, of course, off the table. The other, 100 Thieves, has just waded into the market on a spending spree. Nadeshot’s esports organization just snapped up Twitch duo Kyedae and Fuslie, and promoted long-time creators Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter into ownership roles around the same time. “[The problem is] I don’t think anyone is picking up creators right now. 100 Thieves? They’re signing everyone… [but] I don’t know who’s picking people up.” CouRage has touched on Cloakzy’s signing before too: “I want Cloakzy to join 100 Thieves! But he’s got to get his sh*t figured out. I do think he’s a great fit.” Another option Cloakzy’s Twitch chat suggested was for the star to start his own organization. The Warzone pro knocked back that idea fairly quickly, however. “Start my own org?” he read out. “Yeah, I don’t know about that bro.” For now, Cloakzy will mainly be occupied with his Florida move. Dexerto will keep you updated on any possible 2021 signings for the Warzone superstar.

Cloak takes shot at FaZe Clan with new Battalion username – Dexerto
Cloak takes shot at FaZe Clan with new Battalion username Cloak, Instagram / FaZe ClanFortnite Battle Royale player’s lawsuit was first revealed on May 20, and now his duo partner Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore has decided to take another shot at the organization. This time, though, he’s decided to joke about the situation in a very different way – in the form of his Battalion 1944 username. The new gamertag was first revealed during a Twitch livestream of 100 Thieves‘ CEO and founder Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, who was looking to add Cloak on the game. However, the naming of his account did leave him speechless for a moment or two. “What is it?” Nade asked about the name. “Eight, zero, and then percent,” he responded, but Nadeshot didn’t seem to believe him at first until he actually came across the account and fired a friend request in his direction. Nadeshot was left facepalming in front of the camera after Cloak revealed that ’80percent’ was his username, making reference to the highly discussed split of earnings between Tfue and the organization that he is still signed to, FaZe Clan. Cloak has hardly been quiet since the legal dispute was first raised between both parties, hinting that he might soon leave FaZe after announcing that his Fortnite Battle Royale duo partner would be moving in with him on May 28. Whether or not Cloak will remain with the organization for much longer remains to be seen, but he’s certainly not hiding the support he has for his Fortnite Battle Royale partner in the legal battle. Only time will tell if he will remain with the org, or perhaps even move onto another – such as 100 Thieves.

However, he always said he was against it and wanted to do his own thing. That was until March 24, when Complexity Gaming welcomed its newest member, Cloakzy, who will be joining TimTheTatman as co-owner and content creator. When asked about his passion and desire to compete again, Dennis gave his fans some insight on what to expect. “I do want to compete again, I have been missing it a lot, but I don’t know what I’m going to compete in.” Fans also questioned his decision to join Complexity as Cloakzy had been very vocal about not wanting to join another org. However, he said he felt at home and is looking forward to what the company has planned for the future. “The five-year plan we have planned out must be something pretty f**king crazy and it’s going to be actually insane,” he said. In the org’s official statement, they said “Cloakzy is revered in the gaming and esports space for his creativity and energy, and we’re looking forward to bringing his passion to Complexity and GameSquare.” For now, the new co-owner is focused on content creation but said that fans should get hyped for what is coming over the course of the next five years.

Cloak responds to “false” FaZe statement, addresses new Tfue org rumors The ongoing feud between Fortnite superstar Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore and FaZe Clan shows no signs of slowing down after the org released a statement he describes as “completely false”. Fortnite star Turney ‘Tfue’ Tenney shocked the world after he revealed he would be pursuing a lawsuit against FaZe Clan over an “oppressive contract” back on May 20 – with shocking details of his current deal being revealed. Naturally, questions marks were immediately raised over the future of his long-term friend and teammate Cloak, who subsequently removed FaZe from all of his social media accounts as well as his Epic Games tag. Weeks later, Cloak has finally spoken out on his future revealing he has actively been trying to leave FaZe for the past six months; way before the Tfue lawsuit was filed. FaZe released a statement confirming they were working together to engineer his departure, but also claimed they were open to offers from other teams for the play, which Cloak has dismissed as “false”, saying he has no intentions to join another team. He said: “I don’t want to be transferred – I don’t know why that was thrown in there. I could have gone the whole public route but I didn’t want to. “I don’t plan to join another org – I just want to focus on myself.” Cloak promised on Twitter that another stream would be forthcoming on June 23 with “no filter” as “everything is coming out” meaning there could be yet another twist in this ongoing feud. Cloak reveals how Tfue’s lawsuit against FaZe Clan will affect their Fortnite World Cup Duo – Dexerto
Cloak reveals how Tfue’s lawsuit against FaZe Clan will affect their Fortnite World Cup Duo FaZe Clan / Epic GamesFollowing the fallout of Tyler ‘Fortnite World Cup duo partner Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore broke his silence on what effects the recent allegations will have on the star team. Tfue rocked the esports scene when it was announced that he was taking his org to court over contract disputes claiming FaZe had “oppressive” clauses in their agreement. The news caused ripple effects among content creators and esports figures, but the only thing some fans wanted to know is what the suit meant for one of the most dominating duos in the game ahead of the Fortnite World Cup Finals. The pair have dominated in Fortnite Battle Royale competitions, but the recent lawsuit had many wondering if that meant the end of the duo. In a May 20 Twitlonger, Cloakzy gave insights on his history with Tfue and how they became a team. While tensions are at an all-time high between FaZe Clan and Tfue, Cloak said that their plans to “win the World Cup” is still on. “As if now I am still on FaZe,” Cloackzy said in a TwitLonger. “Me and tfue are still going to be a duo, we are still going to qualify and win the world cup move in together and take this streaming thing to the next level.” As a long time friend to Tfue, Cloakzy doubled-down on his decision to remain duo partners with the embattled pro saying: “Tfue is also one of the best players the Battle Royale genre has seen. Along with Ninja / Ceice and more. I think he would be at the spot he is at with or without help.” The Fortnite Battle Royale star will be moving forward as planned with Tfue by his side in the World Cup. What happened between FaZe Clan and Tfue? While the story is ongoing, Tfue sent Twitter and the esports world in a frenzy after the Hollywood Reporter revealed that the popular Twitch streamer was suing his org for “oppressive, unfair and illegal agreements.” Similarly, Tfue says that Faze Clan is taking an enormous share of the revenue produced by his branded videos on social media, citing an 80/20 split with the content creator taking in the latter portion. The lawsuit will undoubtedly have more developments as it makes its way through the courts, but for now, Fortnite World Cup fans will be able to catch Tfue and Cloakzy cause mayhem for the year’s big event.

Cloak shows support for Tfue amid FaZe lawsuit and contract drama – Dexerto
Cloak shows support for Tfue amid FaZe lawsuit and contract drama FaZe CloakDennis ‘Fortnite Battle Royale duo Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney in his bitter lawsuit drama against FaZe Clan, using Instagram to show his support. Cloak, who is the current captain of FaZe Clan’s Fortnite Battle Royale team, is the long-time duos partner of Tfue who is currently suing the organization over what is described as an “oppressive” contract in his suit. While FaZe founder Ricky ‘FaZe Banks’ Banks and Tfue continue to publicly address and dispute the other’s story, it appears that Cloak has decided to stand behind his teammate instead of the organization he represents. On Wednesday, May 22, Tfue released a statement regarding the ongoing lawsuit, stating that the contract he signed with the organization was bizarre, and urging fans to use “#ReleaseTheContract” in the hopes of pressuring FaZe to make it available for the public. While many fans of the streamer chose started to post messages of support featuring the hashtag, one of the most notable people to use it was Cloak, posting an image of him embracing Tfue with “#ReleaseTheContract” as the caption on Instagram. For Cloak to come out in public support of Tfue is a big step by the Fortnite Battle Royale pro player, as he is still a member of FaZe Clan and remains under contract with the organization. Will Cloak keep playing with Tfue? While some fans of the duo were concerned that the lawsuit brought by Tfue against FaZe Clan could spell the end of their time playing together, Cloak quickly shut down any thoughts that they would split up in a statement released on May 20. “As of now, I am still on FaZe,” wrote Cloak in a TwitLonger. “Me and Tfue are still going to be a due, we are still going to qualify and win the World Cup, move in together, and take this streaming thing to the next level.” Whether the pair still represent FaZe Clan when the the Fortnite World Cup rolls around remains to be seen, but it seems clear that Cloak intends to follow Tfue wherever he goes.

Clix reveals the “only way” he’ll sign with Kick and leave Twitch – Dexerto
Clix reveals the “only way” he’ll sign with Kick and leave Twitch Instagram/ClixFortnite star Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod has revealed the one condition under which he would ever quit Twitch and sign with streaming rival Kick. Kick has emerged as a major competitor to Twitch by offering streamers a better sub split, no ads, and more leniency when it comes to mature content – something that has caused plenty of controversy. That said, Kick has also pumped out some very lucrative contracts to acquire some of the streaming world’s biggest names including xQc, Amouranth, Tfue, and plenty of others. During a recent Twitch stream, Fortnite icon Clix named his price to join the green platform, revealing the only way he’d ever leave Twitch behind and broadcast on Kick instead. Clix demands over $12M to join Kick According to Clix, the “only way” he’d ever consider Kick is if they offered him an amount of money that he would be stupid not to accept. “The only way I’d ever sign to Kick is if it’s more than $12M a year. It would need to be an amount where I look at myself and I’m like, ‘Cody, you are dumb as f**k if you don’t switch.” The streamer continued, explaining how the offer would need to be so good that his own family would be mad at him if he didn’t say yes. “That number’s honestly not real,” he added, seemingly dismissing the possibility that Kick would come knocking with an offer of that magnitude. Clix isn’t the only streamer to demand a huge sum from Kick to sign. Notably, Dr Disrespect asked for half of xQc’s $100M contract – and despite Kick negotiating with Doc’s team, nothing came of it. “He’s one of the most entertaining streamers in the business, but fifty million is fifty million,” Kick’s Head of Product Paulie Chianese said when asked about Doc joining the platform. As such, it seems unlikely that we see Clix on Kick anytime soon, but with Twitch no longer offering streamers big exclusive contracts, you never know what could happen. Keep it locked to Dexerto for more viral streaming news.

Cloak hints at leaving FaZe after confirming details of Tfue’s moving in – Dexerto
Cloak hints at leaving FaZe after confirming details of Tfue’s moving in FaZe ClanDennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore revealed Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney is moving in with him as a result of his lawsuit against FaZe Clan. Tfue took the esports world by surprise when he filed a lawsuit against his organization FaZe Clan. He alleged he had an abrasive contract from the org that took far more money than he thought they deserved and that it stopped him from pursuing deals. Cloak, Tfue’s World Cup partner and good friend, said Tfue will be moving from Los Angeles to New Jersey to live with him as his situation is figured out. Tfue is moving across the country Cloak and Tfue always had plans of moving in together but those plans have been rushed forward with this the drama with FaZe. “Turner moves in tomorrow (May 29) if you guys don’t realize that,” he said. “Turner moves in tomorrow, he’s going to be staying here for a while. Got his room ready, got all of his shit sent to the house. So me and Turner are going to be doing some crazy shit.” Cloak discusses his future with FaZe Outside of the news with Tfue, Cloak also spoke about his future with the organization. “I’m talking to FaZe to figure out what I want to do,” Cloak said. “Yeah, did I say that correctly?” He was reading off a script so he couldn’t reveal too much stuff but it looks like he has some major moves in the works. While it sounds like Cloak can’t say a whole lot about his future, it does sound like he could be on the move from FaZe, but nothing has been announced. When Tfue moves in and gets settled it’s possible we could learn more about what the future holds for Cloak.

Fortnite pro Clix reveals eye-popping cost of his new streaming setup – Dexerto
Fortnite pro Clix reveals eye-popping cost of his new streaming setup YouTube: WhistleMisfits Fortnite Battle Royale star Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod runs one of the most popular streams for the game on Twitch, and while his gameplay is top notch, he’s invested an eye-watering amount of money to get the best equipment possible. While having top-of-the-line equipment isn’t necessary in becoming the best, it can go a long way to helping you reach your maximum potential in any game. Clix knows that all too well. Having played on a low-spec setup for years, the Fortnite pro upgraded his kit to the best of the best once he joined Misfits, and now he’s shown off the true cost of it all in a recent interview. Talking to Whistle Sports, Clix showed off his streaming setup from behind the camera, which was funded by his $260,000 prize money earnings across his Fortnite career. The Fortnite pro uses a Ninja Finalmouse Air 58 mouse, as well as a Matrix Keyboard with Cherry MX Blue Switches. This isn’t the most expensive mice and keyboard combination you can find on the market, coming in at around $200 a pair, but with plenty of backups in tow, the cost racks up. Where the cost really starts to ramp up is in his monitors and PC tower. Clix uses a pre-built Alienware tower with a Nvidia RTX 2080 graphics card, coming in at $4,500 alone. On top of that, he upgraded his 60Hz monitor to two 240Hz Alienware monitors at $350 a pop. For mobile readers, the related segment starts at 4:10 Then comes all the small things. The mouse bungee to hold his cable in place set him back $25, while his microphone and camera to enhance his stream experience came in at $110 a piece. He even bought himself a pair of gaming glasses for $25, which he said has been massively helpful for when he stares at a computer for over ten hours a day. “They’re kind of funky, but it helps me out a lot,” he said. Finally, the streamer has an array of headphones, ranging from basic all-in-one headsets hanging on his wall, to the Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro studio headphones, which can set you back over $200. Overall, the cost of the set-up shown in the video was around $6,000, but the Fortnite pro said that he has easily spent over $10,000 across his streaming and playing career to keep his equipment up-to-date. Clix’s streaming setup is being pretty basic on the eye, however it’s one of the most powerful you can find on the market. RTX 2080’s and 240Hz monitors don’t come cheap, and while mice and keyboard combos are up to user preference, Clix maxed out on style and build quality while still being relatively affordable. The Misfits pro might not have something like Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’s $3,500 custom build keyboard for Fortnite, but for as far as getting anything ordinary people can buy on the market, it’s one of the most high-end setups out there. Clix’s Fortnite Streaming Setup full list PC: Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop with Nvidia RTX 2080TI – $4,500 – Monitor: Alienware 24.5” 240Hz Gaming Monitor – $350 each ($700 total) – Mouse: Ninja Finalmouse Air 58 – $89 – Keyboard: Matrix Elite Series 60% with Cherry MX Blues and Flamingo Keycaps – $150 each ($750 total) – Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro – $180 – Microphone: HyperX Quadcast – $110 – Camera: Logitech C920 – $110 – Stream Deck: Elgato Stream Deck – $150 – Mouse Bungee: $25 – Gaming Glasses: $25 – Total: $6,639

Clix left stunned as Corinna Kopf reveals how much money she makes Instagram: corinnakopf / Twitter: ClixHimselfCody ‘Clix’ Conrod was left stunned in the middle of a recent Fortnite stream with Corinna Kopf as the social media celebrity revealed her typical monthly income. When it comes to raking in the big bucks, certain personalities on the internet have it better than others. While Clix might be one of the world’s most popular Fortnite pros, even he was left shocked upon hearing what Kopf takes home in an average month. From exclusive streaming deals with Facebook to sponsored posts on Instagram, she’s set herself up with multiple streams of revenue. But just how much does it all add up to in a typical month? The 25-year-old revealed her standard income in the midst of a Fortnite session with NRG’s Clix. It’s safe to say he was blown away, despite his own earnings. View this post on Instagram “Clix, I know that you make a ton of money,” Kopf said to kickstart the conversation. “You’re making high six-figures if not seven-figures a year,” she explained to thousands of viewers watching live across Facebook and Twitch. Turning the question back on her, Clix simply asked “how much money” Kopf makes in comparison. “Should I just tell you exactly how much I make every month? I make six-figures a month… that’s all I’ll ever say.” “How many? You’re f***ing joking,” Clix responded. “That’s more than 100K a month…do you know how much money that is?” No stranger to major tournament wins and exclusive streaming deals of his own, even the young Fortnite star was flabbergasted by her income. “Just today on stocks… I made $74,000 today on the stock market,” she added. While not every day is a guaranteed win when it comes to stocks, the money appears to be piling in Kopf’s portfolio. Click Crew comes to an end as Aussie YouTube group “stops filming” – Dexerto
Click Crew comes to an end as Aussie YouTube group “stops filming” Twitter: ClickCrewOne of Australia’s most popular YouTube collectives has decided to call it a day as The Click Crew officially announced that production has come to a halt on all group videos. Established in 2018, Click brought together some of the biggest YouTube and Twitch personalities in the Oceanic region. After almost two years of collaboration across 69 main-channel videos, members of the hugely popular group have opted to go their own way. From unofficial leader Elliot ‘Muselk’ Watkins, to the likes of Fortnite stars Kathleen ‘Loserfruit’ Belsten and Lannon ‘Lazarbeam’ Eacott, the collective announced on July 1 that filming had stopped on joint videos. “Together we have made the very hard decision to stop filming Click videos for the foreseeable future,” a statement on the official Click Crew Twitter account read. The post addressed how due to the ongoing global situation, they’ve all been distanced from one another. “It was pretty tricky for us to film videos without being able to see each other.” As a result, Click members all wanted to “spend time working on [their] own content” instead. Many of the content creators replied with simple love heart emojis, Eacott responded to backlash from one fan in particular. “Half of the people that were in videos live in a different state,” he explained. Making it next to impossible to have everyone in the same room to record something new for the channel. Having last uploaded on April 25, the Click account was inactive for two months before this statement cleared things up. “We want to apologize for not saying anything sooner, but really wanted to make sure this was the right decision for us and you guys before making the final call.” With 2.8 million subscribers, each video on the channel dashed well into the millions without fail. Six of which even cracked 10 million views, a testament to just how popular the Australian personalities are. It may be the end of an era, though the door could be open for a reunion down the line. “This is goodbye from us for now,” the post concluded. Perhaps when the global crisis begins to ease, the group could return for collaborative content once again. That’s not to say you won’t still see many of the personalities pairing up. While The Click Crew may have come to a close, its creators are still just as active.

Click Crew members Lazarbeam and Muselk to stream exclusively on YouTube – Dexerto
Click Crew members Lazarbeam and Muselk to stream exclusively on YouTube Australian YouTubers and members of The Click Crew, Elliot ‘Muselk’ Watkins and Lannon ‘Lazarbeam’ Eacott, have announced they will exclusively stream on YouTube going forward. The two Australians were already very sporadic with their livestreams on Twitch, despite being partnered with the platform, as the majority of their popularity coming from YouTube. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the two creators have signed a deal to stream exclusively with YouTube Gaming, in addition to still creating their regular video content on the platform. Lazar was already a popular YouTuber in his own right, but he really skyrocketed in fame when he switched to Fortnite full-time in 2017 and he’s never looked back. The 25-year-old has over 12 million subscribers, so it’s clear the switch has paid off in a big way. He still creates content for other things, but Fortnite remains his bread and butter when it comes to views. Hilariously, he ended up sleeping through his own announcement, so he posted the news to his followers long after the news had already broken. Annoucement. I will now be streaming exclusively on YouTube every week. Definitely didn’t sleep through the biggest announcement of my career nope not this guy pic.twitter.com/AYhIVim5I4 — LAZAR (@Lazarbeam) January 13, 2020 According to the official press release, streaming on YouTube will allow him to “do more” in terms of providing more new content and making a bigger impact. “Through starting streaming on YouTube, Lannan’s aim is to ‘do more,’ by showing his audience a different side of himself, experimenting with new digital content, and creating a bigger impact on the world of entertainment.” Muselk, on the other hand, has over eight million subscribers, so he’s no slouch either. Like Lazar, the majority of his videos are about Fortnite and we don’t expect that to change with this announcement. “Livestreaming is an incredible opportunity to both grow my channel as well as have even more meaningful interactions with my audience,” he said. “I’m so happy to have YouTube as my home for that, and bring my viewers both my video and live content together on the same platform!” So excited to announce Im now going to be streaming EVERY week on Youtube! Cant wait to put even more content out on the platform which has been home for my entire career! Going be starting TODAY in 5 hours with a huge #FightTheFires Charity Stream! The two YouTubers and the rest of The Click Crew have already raised over $300k AUD to help combat the fires and it doesn’t look like they are done chipping in. News of these announcements come on the same day Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter also announced her move from Twitch to YouTube Gaming exclusively. YouTube looks to be a serious player in the livestreaming war as we cross over into 2020, especially thanks to their recent big-name signing of 100 Thieves star Jack ‘CouRageJD’ Dunlop. It will be interesting to see what the next domino to fall will be as the bidding war continues to rage.

Claudia Conway & Perez Hilton in heated feud over “huge” party – Dexerto
Claudia Conway & Perez Hilton in heated feud over “huge” party TikTok: Claudia Conway/ TikTok: Perez HiltonCelebrity blogger Perez Hilton has hit out at TikToker Claudia Conway after she hosted a huge party that got out of hand. In the last few days, Claudia Conway has come under fire after footage was revealed of a party she hosted at her family home, where chaos ensued and social-distancing appeared virtually non-existent. Claudia promptly apologized on her TikTok account following the backlash, explaining that masks were supposed to be worn and restrictions were planned to be followed, but the party got out of control. She said that she would never put anyone’s lives in danger and the party did not go how she’d planned. She added that everyone was eventually kicked off the premises and that she is not trying to deceive anyone. “I’m very disappointed in the way things turned out and I can only offer my deepest apologies.” Following her apology, she also pointed out that Perez Hilton had recently shared one of her “friends only” videos with the public, in which she admitted that she was feeling suicidal, and he added a caption linking the video to the party. Perez quickly clapped back: “I have not deleted it and I’m not going to delete it. I did not make fun of Claudia as she was claiming… She did have a big birthday party. I did not make fun of her, and FYI, she chose to become a public figure, and she chose to become an advocate, and has been very critical of people hosting parties and going to parties, and she and her mother threw a big party.” In another video, Perez continued that while Claudia criticized the parties attendees for not wearing masks, “She should be criticizing herself,” and provided “receipts” of both her and her friends without masks at the event. Fans of the TikToker came to her defense in the comments on Perez’s video, with one saying, “You have no business reposting stuff like this. Please stay in your lane next time,” to which Perez replied, “This is my lane.” Another user said, “You have young daughters, how would you feel if someone reposted something one of them posted to a private story/acc? What’s not clicking?” Perez responded, “I would not care. And I will teach my daughters that they have no expectation of privacy on social media. Even if their accounts are ‘private.’”

Cleaner shocks internet after showing “oysters” and “mushrooms” growing in dishwasher – Dexerto
Cleaner shocks internet after showing “oysters” and “mushrooms” growing in dishwasher TikTok: cleanlikeaproA cleaner has left the internet in a state of shock after revealing what appeared to be “oysters” and “mushrooms” growing inside a dishwasher. The invention of the dishwasher in 1850 has undoubtedly been a game changer, saving countless hours of scrubbing in exchange for the simple task of stacking up the handy appliance. However, dishwashers still require regular cleaning to ensure bits of food, grease, undissolved detergent, and water minerals don’t build up inside. Now, a cleaner has shown horrified viewers just what happens when this important step is missed. Taking to her TikTok account ‘cleanlikeapro’, Kate revealed her client’s dishwasher filter to show what looked to her like “oysters” and “mushrooms” inside. “I’ve never seen anything quite as funky as this,” she said. “Oysters mixed with perhaps some kind of mushroom? The smell was very interesting as well.” Having never come across anything like this before, Kate layered up with two pairs of gloves and managed to get the dishwasher looking “brand new”. Despite the “sparkling” result, Kate recommended in her caption that viewers “Run, don’t walk to go clean your dishwasher!” Her message was evidently impactful, with the video disgusting many viewers. One person even commented, “Just throw away the dishwasher at that point.” Another said, “I was eating mango Yoghurt with chia seeds, totally put off now. I feel the need to deep clean my entire house [oh my God].” With that said, be sure to clean your dishwasher regularly and check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Classify reveals how he fooled the internet with viral Amber Heard photo – Dexerto
Classify reveals how he fooled the internet with viral Amber Heard photo YouTube: Classify & Instagram: FaZeBlazePopular YouTuber ‘Classify’ revealed that he was behind the fake viral Amber Heard ‘mega-pint’ photo and how he did it. With advances in technology, deepfakes and photoshops can trick even the wariest of internet sleuths, just as YouTuber Classify revealed with a recent viral photo of an Amber Heard lookalike. Hot off her public and messy court case versus former husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has been a hot topic for celebrity gossip recently. As a result, photos of her following the trial have been shared and scrutinized wildly. In the case of a recent photo that went viral, though, it turns out that Amber Heard wasn’t in the picture at all. How did Classify fake the Amber Heard picture? After the defamation suit between Heard and Depp was concluded, pictures of Heard – who was ordered to pay $15 million – were all over the internet. This gave YouTuber Classify the idea to find an Amber Heard imposter and pose her for a viral photo. Classify began by scouring Instagram for a stand-in who looked like Amber Heard, eventually choosing actress Kseniia Dubovitz. Classify flew her to Los Angeles and gave her a complete makeover with clothes and makeup that Heard herself was known to wear. The disguise was apparently so convincing that a TMZ bus, which was passing by just as Classify was taking the soon-to-be viral pictures, had people calling the model “Amber” – and even rapper Bobby Shmurda came by to take a photo (though it’s not clear if he actually thought this was Heard or knew it was an impostor). How did Classify make the photo go viral? Once they secured the photos, Classify enlisted his friend FaZeBlaze to post the photo, claiming that he had seen the real Amber Heard while at brunch. After posting, the photo immediately began to get retweeted on Twitter, with onlookers appearing to believe that this was Heard. The attention ramped up even further when influencer Keemstar retweeted the photo to his 2.7 million followers. Crazy LA moment.. My girl and I bumped into Amber Heard at lunch pic.twitter.com/xfbgfimXFo — Blaze (@FaZeBlaze) June 11, 2022 By the time the video was over Classify revealed that the photo had over 150,000 likes on Twitter and was being made into TikToks (though it unfortunately hadn’t blown up on Reddit as well). After showing how easy it was to fool the internet, though, Classify wasn’t sure whether it was worth it. FaZe Blaze also mused about how troubling it was that no one fact-checked or researched the veracity of the picture.

Classify shocks OpTic fan trying to make it to CDL Champs with heartwarming gesture – Dexerto
Classify shocks OpTic fan trying to make it to CDL Champs with heartwarming gesture Instagram: ClassifyClassify is best known for his social media antics, but in a kind gesture he’s making an OpTic fan’s dream come true by taking care of his trip CDL Champs. Even before he was a member of Mr. Beast’s YouTube crew or pulling off unbelievable tricks on the entire internet, Classify was a huge name in the world of gaming social media thanks to his outrageous tweets and over-the-top personality. This time around though, he’s making waves not out of silliness but out of kindness as he’s opened up his wallet to make a Call of Duty esports fan’s dream of attending the biggest tournament of the year come true. Classify is sending an OpTic Texas fan to CDL Champs on his own dime A fan known as Wraith launched a small campaign for the OpTic organization to fly him out for Champs by bringing a sign with his request on it to Major 4 and hoped to elevate the idea on Twitter by tagging the appropriate parties. “Please fly me out to Champs or help me get there….I would do anything possible to make it there to see you guys play,” he pleaded. It didn’t take long for other people to take notice as the tweet quickly gained some traction thanks to other fans gathering around the cause. From there, things didn’t even really have time to get off the ground before Classify stepped in to take care of the situation and bring the short-lived idea to a successful end. “DM me your info, I got your flight round trip. Everyone should enjoy events.” the social media star said. Major 4 isn’t over yet but Wraith’s big day is already rapidly approaching as Champs will kickoff on August 4 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Classify’s Twitter suspension reportedly set to be permanent over copyright claim – Dexerto
Classify’s Twitter suspension reportedly set to be permanent over copyright claim Classify – InstagramSocial media personality and Twitch Mob member Classify will not be returning to his regular Twitter account anytime soon, according to the latest reports. Classify is one of the core four members of the Twitch Mob, and is known for constantly posting hilarious memes, unusual videos, and images of his iconic ketchup-themed meals. Out of all of the four members, Classify had the biggest following on Twitter, boasting over 105,000 followers and constantly pulling in a lot of viewers on Twitch. Unfortunately, Classify’s account was suspended by Twitter in the early days of May, just days after he had surpassed the 100,000 follower milestone. While many believed that his account would be re-enabled shortly thereafter, an update tweeted out by fellow Mob member Froste heavily suggests otherwise. According to Froste, Classify’s account was suspended due to Sony Music Entertainment copyright striking one of his tweets from “almost two years ago.” Twitter is apparently powerless when it comes to situations like these, so all indications are that the account will remain banned permanently. Twitter has helped him a lot in the past with this kind of stuff, but this time they couldnt do much. I’m really not sure why @Twitter doesnt just auto delete tweets that get DMCA’d but instead suspends the entire account. It’s fucking ridiculous — Mob Froste (@Froste) May 6, 2019 As Frosty hinted at in his tweets, this is certainly not the first time that Classify has seen his Twitter account suspended for posting content that the platform deemed unacceptable. However, unlike those previous situations, it appears that, in this instance, Twitter’s hands are tied and they have no choice but to uphold the ban. Fortunately for fans, the content is certainly not going to stop coming, as Classify has already transitioned to a new account and is already close to surpassing 10,000 followers on it. “I will do my best to get my OG account back,” he tweeted. “Too many memories, tweets, threads, everything just gone. Tragic. But for now, hello Twitter.” I will do my best to get my OG account back. Too many memories, tweets, threads, everything just gone. Tragic. Classify banned on Twitch while watching Omegle on stream – Dexerto
Classify banned on Twitch while watching Omegle on stream Instagram: ClassifyTwitch streamer Classify was hit with a surprise ban on Twitch while watching Omegle during his most recent stream. Over the last few years, Twitch has continued to crack down on the type of websites and games creators can broadcast on the platform. This includes randomized video chat websites like Omegle, which put the streamer at risk of displaying sensitive content on their channel. Twitch streamer Classify recently learned this after he was hit with a surprise ban on the platform while streaming Omegle to his viewers. Classify hit with Twitch ban while watching Omegle On January 24, Classify’s channel became unavailable mid-stream, only to display the infamous Twitch ban message. “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” it reads. Twitch has banned all randomized video chat services under “sensitive content” in its Community Guidelines due to the chance of displaying explicit content. Shortly after his ban, fans began asking what Classify did on stream for it to happen. “He went on Omegle,” one user replied before another fan mentioned that the website is against TOS. “We ain’t know,” Classify said. It’s unknown how long Classify’s ban is for, but past punishments for showing Omegle on stream have only lasted a day. Twitch also does not comment on bans, but we’ll update this article if Classify reveals how long he’s gone. However, punishments on the platform differ depending on whether or not the creator has been banned in the past.

As the most popular member of the Twitch Mob in terms of Twitter followers, many were disappointed when Classify’s account was shut down by the site, with some starting a #FreeClassify hashtag on Twitter in an attempt to reverse the decision. Why was Classify’s account banned? According to fellow Twitc Mob member Froste, Twitter had no choice but to shut down his account, which had a massive 105,000 followers, after Sony Music Entertainment claimed one of his tweets had infringed on their copyright. Circle K customers raise $12k for employee facing 14 years after self-defense in “brutal robbery” – Dexerto
Circle K customers raise $12k for employee facing 14 years after self-defense in “brutal robbery” Instagram: circlekstores, X/Twitter: 6ixbuzztvSupporters raised $12k for a Circle K employee in Canada who is facing 14 years for defending himself in a robbery. On January 5, Circle K employee Tejeshwar Kalia fell victim to a “brutal robbery” in Peterborough, Canada. Around 2:30 AM, Jonathon Handel attempted to rob Circle K, where Kalia was working. Carrying a baseball bat, Handel began threatening the clerk for money before pulling it out and striking Kalia several times in the back of the head and spine. Kalia then wrestled the bat out of Handel’s hands and struck Handel twice in the head before Handel fell to the ground. However, Circle K customers want justice for Kalia. In support of the store clerk, many people donated to his GoFundMe, resulting in over $12,000 raised. But, Kalia now has to give the money back to those who donated, as GoFundMe emailed him saying his campaign “violated” their terms of service. Customers who donated to Kalia, who claimed self-defense in the robbery, have since responded to their refund from GoFundMe with confusion. “I saw your article on the weekend and made a donation, but today the entire page has been taken down and monies refunded. Any idea what happened?” one supporter wrote to the Toronto Sun. “We are shocked about what is happening to Tejeshwar. Yesterday, we donated $200 to his GoFundMe. Today, we received our donation back,” said another supporter as they continued to ask where they could send Kalia more money. Despite efforts to raise money for Kalia, there has been no secondary fundraiser setup, and he is still facing 14 years in prison, while Handel only faces 18 months.

Clash of Creators football event raises huge amount for charity with big stars involved – Dexerto
Clash of Creators football event raises huge amount for charity with big stars involved Clash of CreatorsThe Clash of Creators football event brought together top creators from YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok in the UK, to lace up their boots, compete head-to-head, and raise a whole bunch of cash in the process. Dexerto headed down to the event on July 25, for the culmination of the games. In total four teams full of creators took part, and one of the squads was even coached by former England number 1 David James. YouTubers including JaackMaate, Morgz, Spencer FC, Josh Pieters, and even TikTok sensation Ollie Ball took part. But, the real focus of the day was to raise money for Mind, a mental health charity. “We’re doing this for Mind, we’ve raised so much money for Mind,” said Callum Glanville, Co-Founder and Owner of Clash Of Creators. “I’ve been through the hardest year or my entire life and to be able to bring this together at Aveley FC and for everybody to have a great time. It’s been absolutely incredible and I’m so thankful for what everyone has done. That’s why mental health is so important, you never know what someone else is going through.” In the end, perhaps due to some expert coaching from David James, his side won the whole thing. Presenting the trophy were Minecraft stars Jack Manifold and Tubbo. At the outset, the event had targeted £10,000 raised, but smashed this goal, hitting £12,754 at the time of writing. You can still donate too, by visiting the Tiltify campaign page. Now it remains to be seen if the Clash of Creators will be back for another year in the future.

Cicis Pizza breaks promise of “unlimited pizza” by kicking out customer after 8 hours – Dexerto
Cicis Pizza breaks promise of “unlimited pizza” by kicking out customer after 8 hours TikTok: ugh_madisonCicis Pizza has been called out after a customer was kicked out after hours, despite the food chain’s promise of “unlimited pizza”. When offering unlimited pizza, chances are few restaurants expect any customers to take the challenge too seriously. That, however, is exactly what one TikToker, Madison did. Showing an incredible appetite, she spent 8 hours at Cicis Pizza to make the most of their $9 all-you-can-eat buffet. But all good things must come to an end, and the restaurant eventually introduced a new rule — seemingly just to kick her out. “I didn’t come here to play games, I came here to get my $9 worth,” Madison said, who goes by ‘ugh_madison’ online. Powering through plates upon plates of food, Madison was “starting to get full” after having been at the restaurant for eight hours. Deciding to be helpful and clean up after herself, Madison’s eating venture came to an end after an employee approached her. “I do have to ask you to leave because you’ve been here for longer than two hours,” the employee said. “They just made a new rule.” Whether or not the rule was real, many viewers weren’t convinced; “You know they made that rule 5 minutes before they told you!” They also pointed out that this new rule wasn’t quite fair as the restaurant had never mentioned it; “Hell naw. At that point, I’d say but nobody told me that when I paid… so do I get my money back or do I get to stay?” Another viewer went so far as to question the legality of Madison’s removal, writing, “Can they legally kick you out if you paid and it’s not visible on the sign?” Luckily, Madison stated that she still had fun despite being kicked out. CinnamonToastKen hits out at claims PewDiePie “made him” – Dexerto
CinnamonToastKen hits out at claims PewDiePie “made him” YouTube/CinnamonToastKenYouTuber CinnamonToastKen has hit back at claims that PewDiePie “made him” and that he wouldn’t be where he is today without help from the Swede. In his time on YouTube, CinnamonToastKen has built up a massive following with millions of subscribers since first joining in 2011, but some people are crediting his success to PewDiePie. The Pewds and Ken have collaborated many times over the years, but according to Ken, people exaggerate the effect PewDiePie had on his channel and claims those individuals are trying to “devalue” him. In a blistering thread, Ken took aim at the people saying he “wouldn’t be anything” without PewDiePie in an attempt to shut his haters down for good. CinnamonToastKen blasts claims that he “wouldn’t be anything” without PewDiePie While Ken admitted that PewDiePie played a big part in helping his career, he noted that he managed to get ahead and took advantage of the boost he received. “That shoutout took my channel from 1500 to 3000 subs 10 years ago. Most people don’t even realize he shouted out another channel in that video. Difference is I kept going,” the YouTuber revealed. According to Ken, he made his own name for himself by making content and networking with the right people. Despite “putting up with a bunch of sh*t” at first, it’s all been worth it in the end. “I now have everything I ever wanted,” Ken added. “People will always run their mouth and make you feel worthless, or nitpick your shortcomings. It’s important to realize what you have and appreciate it.” His comments also echo that of Twitch star Pokimane who advised that instead of getting mad at trolls, streamers should pity them instead.

Chuck E. Cheese responds to concerns following Shane Dawson’s ‘Conspiracy’ series – Dexerto
Chuck E. Cheese responds to concerns following Shane Dawson’s ‘Conspiracy’ series Shane Dawson, YouTube / REUTERS, Mike BlakePopular pizza chain and children’s restaurant Chuck E. Cheese has released a statement following the second episode of YouTuber Shane Dawson’s ‘Conspiracy’ documentary series. In a statement to the Verge, the restaurant claimed that it does not sell left over pizza to customers, as discussed in Dawson’s series. “The claims made in this video about Chuck E. Cheese’s and our pizza are unequivocally false,” a Chuck E. Cheese spokesperson stated. “No conspiracies here — our pizzas are made to order and we prepare our dough fresh in restaurant, which means that they’re not always perfectly uniform in shape, but always delicious.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNuKpwX6Tz4Dawson theorized that the restaurant uses slices of leftover pizzas to create new pies, thus accounting for the odd number of slices and irregular shapes often seen in the chain’s pizzas. The YouTuber’s 30-minute segment on the subject ends with Dawson bringing a pizza home from the chain in an attempt to recreate its slice lines – which resulted in him ultimately throwing it in the garbage bin. Dawson’s series prompted mass speculation against Chuck E. Cheese, with even the likes of makeup guru Jeffree Star calling out the restaurant in a Tweet shortly after the second episode went live. While YouTube has yet to make a statement on the issue, the platform recently unrolled a new algorithm meant to suppress recommendations for ‘conspiracy’ content – which was thought to have been behind the accidental demonetization of Dawson’s first episode in the series. Hey @ChuckECheeses… You have ALOT of explaining to do hoe. — Jeffree Star (@JeffreeStar) February 12, 2019 However, the platform’s automatic review system had flagged the video for showing footage of the ‘Bird Box’ prank challenge, which was labeled a “mistake” upon review. Dawson’s second video in the series has over 10 million views as of February 12.

Logan Paul teases MMA switch after asking Chuck Liddell for advice – Dexerto
Logan Paul teases MMA switch after asking Chuck Liddell for advice YouTuber Logan Paul’s combat sports career doesn’t seem to be over just yet, after asking former UFC Champion Chuck Liddell for advice regarding a possible stint in MMA. Logan Paul has spent a lot of time inside a boxing ring over the last few years, squaring off against Brit JJ ‘KSI” Olatunji on two occasions, but currently holds no victories to his name, with a draw in the amateur bout and a decision loss in the professional clash. This hasn’t dented his desire to compete though, and during an episode of his Impaulsive podcast, he again teased that he intends to move into mixed martial arts, and asked one of the sports all-time greats for advice. While discussing the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion’s storied career, Logan Paul hinted that he would be jumping into the cage in the near future, asking Liddell for some words of wisdom about what was required to make it in MMA. Paul asked: “What do you think makes a successful fighter in the UFC, and I ask for selfish reasons, I may find myself doing a stint in MMA.” “For me, you need to be competent in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, and striking,” Liddell responded. “You need to be competent in all three, really good at one. You need to excel at one. You can mash them together any way you want, but to be at an elite level, you need to be competent at all three.” Clip begins at 37:07 for mobile users. It seems the 24-year-old is serious about moving into another combat sport, explaining: “I definitely want to fight MMA. I have a striking background now, I have a strong wrestling background. I’m going to start doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.” When asked if Liddell would considering coaching, with a nod towards Logan, “The Iceman” didn’t shut down the possibility, so if Logan Paul does ever make it to the UFC octagon, the former champion with 13 knockout victories would undoubtedly be a great figure to have in his corner.

Chucky doll taken away in handcuffs by Mexican police for wielding knife in public – Dexerto
Chucky doll taken away in handcuffs by Mexican police for wielding knife in public Universal PicturesMexican police have arrested and handcuffed a Chucky doll and its owner after the duo reportedly terrorized members of the public with a knife. Chucky — the killer doll with fried orange hair and a love for knife-play — has built a strong cult following over the years. After first debuting in 1988, the doll has since received its own franchise and become an icon in pop culture. However, sometimes the doll finds himself a little too comfortable in the real world. In 2021, a “social experiment” saw someone dressed as the famous doll attempt to terrorize New York City subway riders. And now Chucky is back again, this time getting himself handcuffed and arrested by Mexican police after a man used the doll and a “large” knife to scare people. The suspect, Carlos N was arrested on September 11 for disturbing public order and endangering the public in Monclava, a city in the northern state of Coahuila. According to Fuerza Informativa Azteca, Carlos was reportedly using the Chucky doll to wield a knife at locals and demand money, allegedly under the influence of an illicit substance. Seemingly at the behest of local media, officers arrested the “demon doll” itself, cuffing the toy and holding it up for a mugshot. An officer involved in Chucky’s detainment, however, was later reprimanded for not taking their job seriously. Hilariously, the official Chucky account responded to news of the arrest by tweeting, “I was framed,” and it seems the doll has plenty of support. “I believe you! You’re my best friend till the end!” one person wrote. Another claimed to spot evidence of “police brutality”, citing an officer holding up the doll by its hair. For now, it remains to be seen whether or not Chucky will be kept behind bars. Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Saying she’s done so for five years, Lau Bee buys plastic ornaments that can hold something on the inside of them. She then gets a gift card to either Amazon or Target and places it inside the ornament with a handful of candies. Though she used mints last year, she used Hershey Kisses this year. What’s more, the gift idea is fairly affordable, as the ornament can be bought at either the Dollar Store or Hobby Lobby. Viewers of Lau Bee’s Christmas gift for teachers have commented on her viral idea, calling it “perfection.” And, “Such a cute idea! Christopher Nolan responds after having work roasted by random Peleton instructor – Dexerto
Christopher Nolan responds after having work roasted by random Peleton instructor Warner Bros.Hollywood Director, Christoper Nolan, received some surprising unsolicited criticism about his films recently — from his Peloton instructor during a virtual workout. Christopher Nolan is one of the world’s most successful movie directors, with box office smashes like Inception, Memento, Interstellar, and his Batman trilogy just to name a few. Last year he smashed records again with the thrilling biographical blockbuster, Oppenheimer, which became the highest-grossing biopic of all time. But not all of Nolan’s movies receive an equal level of praise, it seems. And in this case, the criticism of one of his films, Tenet, came from an unexpected place: his Peloton instructor, in the middle of a virtual workout class he was taking. “Anyone else see this sh*t beside me?” The instructor asked out of nowhere, slamming Nolan’s 2020 action/sci-fi flick, Tenet. “That’s two and a half hours of my life, and I want it back.” Funnily enough, this comment actually made its way to the man himself. Nolan soon spoke about seeing the criticism in the middle of his workout while accepting the award for best director from the New York Film Critics Circle. “When Rex Reed takes a sh*t on your film he doesn’t ask you to work out!” Nolan joked, referencing an influential film critic. Although the director seemed to take the unexpected comments in good humor, he did also say he still felt “critical appreciation of films” needed to be “a profession,” rather than just based on “instinct”. But film criticism aside, hearing your workout instructor trash talk your day job has got to get your blood pumping.

Christmas argument goes viral after hot dog machine dispute – Dexerto
Christmas argument goes viral after hot dog machine dispute Twitter: @youngfishgod/https://twitter.com/youngfishgod/status/1739129621516521754Apparently, giving someone a brand-new hot dog machine is not a good Christmas present idea after all. When it comes to getting gifts for Christmas, there’s a large range of presents from friends and family. Some of those gifts are thoughtful items you’ve always wanted, and the others are products you want to regift right away. Social media is a place where others can share their funny holiday stories, and this year is no exception. 2023’s hilarious online Christmas story involves a very interesting cooking gadget. Hot dog machine as a Christmas gift ends badly On December 24, Twitter user @dontfacetimeme revealed that she received a hot dog machine for Christmas from one of his friends. And to say the very least, he was not happy about it. “Why the f*ck would u send me a hot dog machine. You literally wasted your money. Why would I ever need a hot dog machine”, she slammed in multiple text messages. Her friend was not the least bit fazed by his reaction, simply responding with the words, “you fire that b*tch up yet or what,” and saying, “I send u the gift of a lifetime and u can’t even say thank u. You are a f***ing coward,” in reply. If you’re wondering if she is going to make the decision to give the gift back, there’s no need; her friend shared that it wasn’t the only hot dog machine that he purchased. “Ungrateful a**. Good thing I bought myself one too so someone could enjoy it.” The exchange has since gone viral on the platform with over 20 million views. Who knows? Maybe she’ll get around to using that hot dog machine one day. Hopefully, she will keep fans (and her considerate friend) updated. Christmas brawl at Waffle House goes viral after customers attack employees – Dexerto
Christmas brawl at Waffle House goes viral after customers attack employees TwitterA Waffle House melee involving both customers and staff is going viral after footage of the chaotic brawl was uploaded online. Despite its name, the Waffle House isn’t exactly known for its food or coffee menu, but rather for the wild shenanigans that happen inside. Once you’re in, it’s like you’re in the octagon, but Herb Dean isn’t there to call an early stoppage. Over the years there have been tons of wild restaurant fights caught on film, but a recent Christmas brouhaha is taking over the internet for how insane it was. With chairs being tossed, fists flying, and a blonde employee ready to take on Goku, this holiday throwdown makes Diehard look like the Teletubbies reboot on Netflix. Texas Waffle House melee goes viral as staff fight customers In the footage uploaded, an employee appeared to ask a group of four women to leave the restaurant, but that seems to have just escalated a volatile situation into a full-blown slobber knocker. Moments later, the women began rushing to the counter and jumping over it to attack the employees. However, the staff were ready to defend their turf and showed just how important home field advantage really is. As patrons began exiting the restaurant, the staff started tossing items at the angry women, including a coffee pot, but they still managed to get behind the counter. After one woman fell behind, a blonde-haired employee began rocking her with thunderous rights. Eventually, more staff stepped in and tried to defuse the altercation, but that didn’t stop another customer from tossing chairs at the blonde girl. Despite having a chair literally thrown right at her face, the blonde deflected it and dodged a follow-up chair shot. That white girl is an Avenger bro. pic.twitter.com/hvGgRAid5A — Tony Peric (@TonyPeric) December 27, 2022 Luckily, it seems like the viral confrontation ended shortly thereafter with those recording urging the girls to cease at the risk of going to jail. The incident reportedly occurred in Austin, Texas just before the Christmas holidays and it’s unclear if the police have been investigating the showdown.

Christian lady goes viral again claiming Monster Energy cans are “the devil” – Dexerto
Christian lady goes viral again claiming Monster Energy cans are “the devil” Monster EnergyChristian activist Christine Weick has gone viral once again for her presentation that claims Monster Energy drinks are tools used by the devil. Christine Weick originally made the rounds online several years ago, thanks to a presentation she gave about the satanic nature of Monster Energy. According to her, the imagery on the energy drink cans alone proves the company is in league with Satan. For example, Weick insists each line that makes up Monster’s “M” logo actually depicts the Hebrew letter for the number six. The logo, then, reads “666” – the mark of the beast. (It’s worth noting the Hebrew letter in question – Vav – has more than one meaning.) And since one of Monster’s popular taglines is “Unleash the Best,” which appears on merchandise, Weick believes Satan uses the product to spread his influence. Woman who claims Monster Energy is “the devil” goes viral again Now Weick’s much-discussed presentation has begun making the rounds online once more. This time, it’s thanks to TikTok user Alan King sharing the video with the following caption: “Everybody thought this lady was crazy! She exposed this over 5 years ago!” The clip has garnered more than 1.2 million views, with the comment section featuring nearly 30,000 replies. Many of the comments don’t take Weick’s argument seriously in the least bit. Jokes one TikToker, “Me trying to connect two totally different stories for English class.” Someone else asked, “was she the original Karen?” But there are those who buy into it, saying they’re glad to have never purchased the beverage with its “subliminal marketing.” Another person wrote, “wake up, America,” in response to the Monster Energy “devil” claims. Monster Energy doesn’t seem to have been phased by the allegations several years ago. So it’s doubtful the resurfaced video will make much of a difference now. Consumers can decide for themselves whether or not this means the Antichrist is winning the endorsement game.

Christian streamer suing Twitch after ban, claiming religious discrimination – Dexerto
Christian streamer suing Twitch after ban, claiming religious discrimination DrWitnesserWell-known Christian streamer DrWitnesser has revealed that he plans to sue Twitch following his ban on the grounds of religious discrimination. The self-proclaimed “esports missionary” was indefinitely banned from the platform on January 7, 2021 due to “hateful conduct.” This came just a few months after he received a seven day ban for telling a Muslim child that he would be “sentenced to hell” during a Fortnite game. After moving his stream over to YouTube following the indefinite ban, DrWitnesser has now decided to legally challenge Twitch. Alongside a screenshot of what appears to be the legal papers for the proceeding, DrWitnesser explained his plans and why he wanted to sue Twitch. Read More: KSI reveals reason behind shock YouTube ban – “I’m currently seeking legal representation against Twitch & Amazon for unlawful termination of my Twitch account on the basis of religious discrimination,” he said. “Unless Twitch restores my account in full and removes strikes against it, I will not waver from this pursuit of Justice.” The document screenshot is from the Superior Court of California in the county of San Francisco. It is addressed from the Plaintiff, DrWitnesser, vs. Twitch Interactive, Inc, or Twitch.tv. https://twitter.com/DrWitnesser/status/1366062942928723981 While, of course, there were some supportive of his decision, Witnesser was largely mocked in the replies. One follower sent him a picture of Twitch’s rules around hateful conduct and harassment, to which DrWitnesser explained that he did “none of that.” https://twitter.com/DrWitnesser/status/1366465529884659718?s=20 While it’s not possible to tell exactly how this legal proceeding will go for DrWitnesser, the common belief is that it won’t be good. Irrespective of the grounds he plans to sue them on, taking on giants such as Amazon rarely ends well. This will also likely be an expensive venture for Witnesser, so it’ll definitely be interesting to see the outcome.

Chris Weidman demands Jake Paul fight Anderson Silva instead of UFC fighters – Dexerto
Chris Weidman demands Jake Paul fight Anderson Silva instead of UFC fighters Amanda Wescott/SHOWTIME/Instagram/spiderandersonsilvaMMA legend Chris Weidman is calling on Jake Paul to stop challenging UFC fighters and instead take on Brazilian Anderson Silva. With Jake Paul’s KO victory over Tyron Woodley in their December rematch, The Problem Child has been trying to secure fights with UFC stars Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. However, with the two under contract with the UFC, the top MMA organization is unlikely to allow either possible opponent to duke it out in the boxing ring with Paul. Now, Chris Weidman is telling Jake Paul to stop trying to pick fights with the UFC’s talent and instead turn his attention to one of the best no longer with the org – Anderson Silva. (Segment begins at 3:08) Chris Weidman weighs in on Jake Paul During his ‘Won’t Back Down’ podcast, Weidman said that while he would “love” to fight Jake Paul, he doesn’t believe he would have any chance against anyone in his own size, but noted there is one opponent Jake should eye. “I would love to see him fight Anderson Silva,” Weidman said. “I mean, he’s calling out all these fighters on UFC contracts – none of these are really going to happen at this point. UFC would have to get behind it.” According to Weidman, unless the fights would draw in $500 million, such as when Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather, the UFC would never go for it and if they did, they would want to split it. “He’s wasting time talking about Nate Diaz and Masvidal and whoever. Just a waste of time to all of them. But that’s how he’s amping himself up,” Weidman blasted. “Anderson Silva is not under contract, he’s a professional boxer, he’s been looking great – he just beat a world champion, and they’re around the same weight.” There’s still no indication on who Jake will be taking on next, but it will be interesting to see if a possible bout against The Spider is in the cards sometime in 2022 or if the UFC can work something out with the YouTuber.

Chrisean Rock arrested at courthouse after supporting Blueface at his hearing – Dexerto
Chrisean Rock arrested at courthouse after supporting Blueface at his hearing Instagram: chrisseanrockkbabyyChrisean Rock looked surprised as she was escorted by two officers from a courthouse on Monday, June 10. After showing up at a courthouse in San Fernando Valley, rapper Chrisean Rock, 24, was arrested on a felony fugitive warrant. The rapper was there with her infant son, Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr., to support her on and off again boyfriend, Blueface, 27. Chrisean was handcuffed as soon as she entered the premises and was escorted by two Los Angeles police officers who were already there waiting for her on the chance that she’d show up. During her arrest, she can be heard saying “It’s cool, I got my people looking into it.” She also asked the reporter who was filming her if they’d be recording her the whole time she was in handcuffs and calmly noted that the whole ordeal was “nasty.” Chrisean’s arrest warrant was issued due to drug charges she received in 2022 in Oklahoma. The charges include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She is now being held without bail and could potentially be extradited to Oklahoma, as her arrest occurred in California where Blueface is serving his six-month sentence for a 2021 assault. In March, Chrisean told fans in an Instagram live that she had no intentions of turning herself in, as she wanted to stay home with her son, Jamal Jr. Despite having Jamal Jr. in her possession when she entered the courthouse, Chrisean was seen leaving without him, and it is unknown at this time if he will remain in the custody of his grandmother, Charla Malone. Though the rapper continues to show her support for Blueface, saying that they’ll be together when he’s out of jail, his other baby mother, Jaidyn Alexis, was present at the courthouse and could very well cause drama for the couple after his release. Jaidyn and Blueface share two children and he also helped her launch her rap career, as she signed with Columbia Records in October 2023. Chrisean Rock’s sentencing As of June 14, Chrisean Rock was sentenced to 30 days in jail in California before she gets extradited to Oklahoma where her arrest warrant was issued. She is also facing 12 months probation once her sentence concludes. However, she is being held without bail despite the felony charges being lowered to a misdemeanor.

Christian bride defends herself after flaunting “modest” wedding dress – Dexerto
Christian bride defends herself after flaunting “modest” wedding dress TikTok: _catholic_faithA Christian bride defended herself on TikTok after viewers criticized her for flaunting modesty on her wedding day. A Christian bride initially took to TikTok to share how proud she was of her wedding dress, but was in for an unpleasant surprise for taking issue with an “immodest” wedding dress trend. Shortly after posting, viewers took offense with some of her remarks about those who “leave nothing to the imagination.” The bride has since defended herself, saying that she never judged or berated other brides who have different views. TikTokers call out Christian bride for judging them and their “immodest” dress choices When a devout Christian woman was ready to wed the love of her life, she wanted a dress that didn’t reveal too much skin. Taking to TikTok to describe her ideal dress and show the world what she had designed, the bride captioned in a series of photos, “POV you embraced Christian modesty and your wedding was coming up… but you hated the immodest wedding dress trend.” The bride continued, “So, you designed your own wedding dress and had it made for you. And on your big day, you became a testament to the fact that modesty and beauty are compatible.” On her last slide, the bride finished with, “For there is nothing uglier than an immodest bride who leaves nothing to the imagination.” The bride quickly went viral, as many viewers thought she was calling the dress choices of other brides unacceptable and ugly. Viewers sarcastically commented, “Can’t wait for my green, backless, lace wedding dress!!” And, “Excited for my black wedding dress that has a thigh slit that I will be wearing 5 months pregnant.” While another penned, “True beauty and modesty is one who exemplifies being humble and gracious. Grace is not insults and jabs.” Taken aback, the bride defended her “immodest” comments, saying, “Nowhere did I judge anyone, or call out anyone. You all are the ones doing the judging.” She continued, “I described an extreme, you all argued there are women who fit into that extreme, it was not I who said it.” Though the bride took the time to set her opinions straight, viewers weren’t eager to jump on her side, as many continued to think she was the one putting others down. Chris Tyson responds to speculation about his gender following new MrBeast video – Dexerto
Chris Tyson responds to speculation about his gender following new MrBeast video YouTube: MrBeast/Instagram: chris_thememegodYouTuber and good friend of MrBeast, Chris Tyson, has responded to speculation about his gender identity after users started to question his appearance in a MrBeast video. Chris Tyson has been a key component of MrBeast’s content for years, part of the regular crew that elevates his videos to a new level, bringing in a range of personalities and wild antics to keep things flowing well. He’s become a popular creator in his own right and has been riding the wave of success alongside MrBeast, and now he’s opened up about his gender identity after people started to speculate online. Responding to a tweet asking “wtf happened” with two different images of Chris, the YouTube star responded saying “HRT, and it’s only been 2 months.” HRT is short for Hormone Replacement Therapy, commonly used to replace shortages of natural estrogen or testosterone in the body. Chris followed up by linking to a tweet from his alt account, revealing his gender nonconforming identity. “Informed consent HRT saved my and many others’ lives,” Chris said. “The hurdles gnc people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies.” This comes just days after he responded to one fan asking about his new identity. “Someone finding themself does not always mean they are now x identity,” he explained. “However this is a great time to say trans rights are human rights. Let people exist and be happy. And if this makes you mad enjoy being on the wrong side of history looking back.” As suggested here, Chris has also changed his location on Twitter to ‘any pronouns’, suggesting that he is still happy to go by he/him pronouns but is not stuck to just them. Chris is being open about using HRT as gender-affirming healthcare, even if he doesn’t strictly identify with one gender specifically.

Chris Tyson reveals MrBeast has supported their gender identity for years – Dexerto
Chris Tyson reveals MrBeast has supported their gender identity for years YouTube: BANTER / Instagram: mrbeastChris Tyson opened up about their friendship with YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, saying he knew about their gender identity and was supportive of them for years before they addressed the topic in a post that took the internet by storm. Chris Tyson has been one of MrBeast’s besties for many years and is often featured in the YouTube mogul’s videos and other viral content. Although Chris has served as a supporting character in MrBeast’s entourage of buddies for quite some time, they became the center of attention in April after fans noticed big changes in their appearance. Chris responded to the speculation in a viral tweet, clarifying that they’d been on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for two months at the time and are transitioning. Since then, Chris’s transition and gender identity have become a major point of contention among both fans and critics of MrBeast. However, MrBeast himself has been vocally supportive of Chris, and has lashed out at criticism of their friendship on several occasions. Chris Tyson says MrBeast has been supportive of their gender identity for years Chris addressed the subject in GeorgeNotFound’s BANTER podcast on May 10, where they claimed that MrBeast has actually been aware of their gender identity for years and was supportive of them the entire time. “I mean, Jimmy’s known it since we were in college together,” Chris explained. “I accidentally walked out of a bedroom — like, my bedroom and his bedroom were apart …obviously not very cis-het-male. And I told him. I told him, I was like, ‘I don’t really know what it is. I don’t know if I’m ever gonna be ready to like, deal with it.’” “And he was like, ‘Oh yeah, you know, I don’t care. Just whenever it becomes a thing, just let me know.’ And then for like, seven years, or however many years, I just didn’t let him know.” Although Chris wasn’t always sure of the “exact terms” of their identity, they say they’ve been “very sure that a cis male is not correct” for them since they were young. This is just the latest news to come from Chris and MrBeast’s crew after MrBeast came under fire for buying homes for his employees.

Chris Stuckmann explains why The Batman is better than Spider-Man: No Way Home – Dexerto
Chris Stuckmann explains why The Batman is better than Spider-Man: No Way Home YouTube/ChrisStuckmann/Warner BrosPopular YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann has some big praise for the latest Batman flick starring Robert Pattinson, and says it’s even better than Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s been a long time since a stand-alone Batman movie hit theatres. After Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy wrapped up in 2012, Ben Affleck became the caped crusader, but didn’t have his own movie to himself. Now, ten years since the last solo Batman tale, Director Matt Reeves has impressed critics – such as Chris Stuckmann – who believe that this gritty noir detective film is superior to last year’s big superhero extravaganza, Spider-Man: No Way Home. In a review of The Batman, Stuckmann explained why this is while celebrating the movie for putting the dark knight back into the spotlight. Chris Stuckmann praises The Batman Spider-Man: No Way Home captivated audiences last December and has earned nearly $2B at the box office since, a major feat even for an MCU film. Despite its success, however, it didn’t come without some flaws that were honed in on by the YouTuber in his 2021 review. Primarily, he had issues with some of the film’s editing choices, with some shots not being as “dynamic or interesting” as they could have been. The Batman, on the other hand, doesn’t have these problems. (Segment begins at 8:42 for mobile users) “This movie really genuinely satisfied me. Even films that I’ve enjoy watching, there were little things about them that kind of bugged me,” Stuckmann explained. “I legitimately loved Spider-Man: No Way Home, but there were things about it I would have changed. There’s really nothing [in The Batman] that I’d want to be different.” He followed this up by commenting that he loved the movie’s length, Matt Reeves’ directing, and the acting chops of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne. Whether or not the movie can overtake No Way Home in terms of box office revenue remains to be seen. It is, admittedly, a tall order – but with critics like Stuckmann in full support of it, it will be interesting to see how well it performs.

Chris Tyson addresses rumors they were kicked from MrBeast’s channel – Dexerto
Chris Tyson addresses rumors they were kicked from MrBeast’s channel Snapchat: Chris Tyson, MrBeastYouTuber Chris Tyson has addressed rumors that they were removed from MrBeast’s videos after viewers noticed that they were absent from some of his most recent uploads. Chris has found themself at the center of a lot of attention recently after they announced that they had begun hormone replacement therapy (HRT), which prompted both support and anger from content creators and viewers across the world. MrBeast has shown nothing but support for Chris since the announcement and has publicly defended his friend from speculation that their continued presence would damage his brand. However, viewers still wondered why Chris did not feature in MrBeast’s Japan video, leading them to address these queries properly. Chris Tyson confirms he has not left the MrBeast team In a Snapchat stream, Chris confirmed that they had not been removed or asked to leave MrBeast’s squad of friends for videos. Instead, they said they took time away to spend time with their son Tucker, who is two years old. When asked by a fan if he’d been removed from the team, Chris said: “Nope, I pretty much told Jimmy [MrBeast], just because I want to spend time with Tucker, and he’s traveling a lot, I’m just going to come and go as I please. “I came to Japan and I left when I pleased, and I went- I don’t know if I can say I went to Mexico. I went to Mexico, and then I came back.” MrBeast has publicly stuck by Chris ever since they came out with the HRT announcement, so it would be strange to see him turn against Chris. He’s previously called the backlash against Chris “absurd”, saying: “Chris isn’t my ‘nightmare,’ he’s my f*cken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to piss me off.” For more news and updates on MrBeast, check out his recent meet-up with fellow YouTube star PewDiePie.

Chris Pratt responds to Mario casting and calls it a “dream come true” – Dexerto
Chris Pratt responds to Mario casting and calls it a “dream come true” Nintendo / Chris PrattActor Chris Pratt has responded to the surprise announcement that he will be voicing Mario in the upcoming Super Mario Bros film. The September 23 Nintendo Direct revealed plenty of upcoming titles that will be released on the Switch, giving fans a sneak peek at Bayonetta 3, Metroid Dread, Splatoon 3, and other titles. The reception surrounding the recent Direct was very positive, with many Nintendo fans excited to dig into all the latest trailers. One of the biggest surprises, though, was the voice actor reveal behind the Super Mario Movie – a collaboration between Nintendo and Illumination. While this project has been in the works for some time, fans were finally given a glimpse of the actors that would be voicing each character. So far, talents such as Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy, Seth Rogen, Charlie Day, and Charles Martinet have been revealed. However, the biggest surprise came when it was announced that Chris Pratt would be voicing Mario – the game’s red-clad protagonist. Chris Pratt responds to Super Mario casting Chris Pratt’s reveal as Super Mario certainly came as a surprise to many fans, but also to the Hollywood actor, who recently took to Instagram to voice his excitement for the role. “As a kid, I lived in Lake Stevens, Washington and there was this coin-operated laundromat near my house, and it had Super Mario Bros. the original arcade game,” said Chris. Read More: Every Nintendo Direct reveal – “I loved that game. I never had a quarter, so I used to steal them from the wishing well… That’s wild, it’s just dawned on me right now that the quarter I stole out of the wishing well to play Super Mario Bros. has come true. I get to be the voice of Mario.” The acclaimed actor certainly seemed incredibly excited to take on the role of Nintendo’s iconic Italian plumber, but it looks like we’ll need to wait until the movie is released before we hear Chris’ rendition of Mario. “You’ll have to wait to hear the voice, but we’ve been working hard on it and I’m really excited to announce that I’m going to be the voice of that video game, that I’ve dreamed about playing as a kid. Dreams come true.” The Mario film will debut on December 21st, 2022, so we’ll have a long wait before we get a glimpse of the entire cast in action.

Chris Pratt’s Mario ‘isn’t what fans expect,’ and Nintendo is fine with that – Dexerto
Chris Pratt’s Mario ‘isn’t what fans expect,’ and Nintendo is fine with that Nintendo / Creative CommonsThough Super Mario fans are worried about Chris Pratt’s portrayal of Mario in the upcoming Super Mario, Chris Pratt says “he’s proud” of his interpretation and Nintendo seems to be behind him. When Chris Pratt was first announced as Mario in the Super Mario movie, Pratt took to Instagram to tell fans he was excited and that it was “a dream come true” for him to play the iconic plumber. While we know that Pratt’s take on Mario won’t be an imitation of Mario’s video game voice, provided by the legendary Charles Martinet, we still aren’t privy to what it will sound like in the final product. However, recent interviews from both Pratt and Illumination Producer Chris Meledandri seem to be making an effort to assuage worries: “I think we’re going to be just fine” Chris Pratt’s Mario will be “unlike anything” before In a recent interview with Variety‘s Mark Malkin, Pratt talked about his casting as Mario and how he intends to handle the Italian plumber’s voice. “I worked really closely with the directors and trying out a few things and landed on something that I’m really proud of and can’t wait for people to see and hear,” said Pratt. Pratt closes his comments on the Super Mario movie saying Mario’s voice is “updated and unlike anything you’ve heard in the Mario world before.” Though it remains to be seen just how Illumination has updated Mario’s voice, it seems likely the company will stray away from the heavy Italian accent Martinet’s portrayal is known for. This seems all the more likely thanks to recent comments from Meledandri, who spoke to Entertainment about potentially offending Italians or Italian-Americans through the Mario movie. “I’m not sure this is the smartest defense, but as a person who has Italian-American heritage, I feel I can make that decision without worrying about offending Italians or Italian-Americans… I think we’re going to be just fine.” It certainly sounds like Illumination has faith in Pratt’s interpretation, as Meledandri says “the criticism will evaporate” when people finally hear his Mario voice. Considering Nintendo has proudly stood behind both Pratt and Illumination, it’s assumed that they’re happy with whatever Pratt’s Mario voice sounds like as well. Only time will tell if fans feel the same way.

Chris Evans ties the knot with Alba Baptista in off-the-radar wedding – Dexerto
Chris Evans ties the knot with Alba Baptista in off-the-radar wedding Unsplash: Sandy Millar / Instagram: chrisevansCaptain America is off the market after Chris Evans married Alba Baptista in a surprise wedding at their Boston-area home. In November 2022, it was revealed that Chris Evans had been dating actress Alba Baptista for the previous year, with a source telling People that the couple was “in love” and that Evans had “never been happier”. Although both have kept their private lives out of the public eye, Evans previously discussed wanting to settle down in his interview for People’s Sexiest Man Alive, saying “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family.” And it looks like he’s one step closer after Page Six reported the couple got hitched in a surprise wedding at their Boston-area home over the weekend of September 9 and 10. The couple reportedly kept things lowkey with only close family and friends invited for the occasion. Guests also had to sign NDAs and have their phones forfeited beforehand, ensuring the ceremony was kept intimate. Lucky enough to make the guest list were Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, and some of Evans’ other high-profile friends were spotted in the Boston area — presumably for his wedding. In the past, however, Evans has given fans a sneak peek into the couple’s relationship with a Valentine’s Day post this year. News of the wedding sparked a variety of reactions; while many wished the couple happiness, some fans were left devastated after learning their chance at snagging Marvel’s dreamboat had been crushed. “IT SHOULD’VE BEEN ME!!” one person wrote. Another said, “The dream man with a huge ass got married… I’m ending it.” Check out all the latest entertainment news on our page here.

Chris Martin responds to Lizzo collab offer and Coldplay fans are losing it YouTube, Lizzo Music / Coldplay, InstagramColdplay lead singer Chris Martin has left the band’s entire fanbase waiting to see what happens next after responding to a collaboration offer from Lizzo. This wouldn’t be the first time in the last 12 months that Coldplay has worked alongside high-profile talent, with both BTS and Selena Gomez featuring in separate records on their latest album, Music of the Spheres. The news of working with Lizzo broke after the pair crossed paths during the Zane Lowe show on Apple Music. A video, which was posted to Coldplay’s official social channels on July 13, shows Chris Martin speaking to the popular singer on FaceTime. Coldplay star Chris Martin teases song with Lizzo Martin opens up with a simple question: “Hey Lizzo, how are you doing?” Seconds later, she says: “What we doing next? What we doing next? Are you writing me a song?” He replies: “Lizzo you’re doing so great and you’re taking over and it’s wonderful… How are you doing?” Lizzo says “the song don’t gotta come out with me and you, we’ve just gotta do it. “If we sat in the studio and we just worked. I don’t mind people knowing. I’m not going to be embarrassed. I’d like people to know.” Coldplay fans respond In the comments, it appears followers of both music stars are eagerly anticipating something big between them – and soon. One fan said: “I’m feeling a coldplay x Lizzo collab.” A second said: “Woahhh!! This would be an amazing collab.” Another predicted: “Collab of the year!” “OH MY GOODNESS! Yes please collaborate. You two are my faves.” The official Instagram account of the band was quick to post about the possibility, hinting that this could be in the works, though there has been no confirmation as of yet. Just like this interaction, a track could just drop out of the blue. We shall have to wait and see.

Chris D’Elia roasts Houston Astros fans after Buffalo Wild Wings drama – Dexerto
Chris D’Elia roasts Houston Astros fans after Buffalo Wild Wings drama Chris D’Elia/YouTubeComedian Chris D’Elia had some choice words for both Houston Astros fans and Buffalo Wild Wings following a viral Twitter beef between the two in mid-February. On February 14, the Buffalo Wild Wings Twitter account responded to news that Manchester City would be banned from the UEFA Champions League for two seasons due to breaching Financial Fair Play rules, tweeting, “THAT’S how you punish a team that cheats.” The tweet was aimed at the Houston Astros for “stealing signs” during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. As a result, many Astros fans swarmed the Wild Wings account and blasted the chain, claiming they wouldn’t eat there again. THAT’S how you punish a team that cheats. https://t.co/A0HJYUjc0q — Buffalo Wild Wings (@BWWings) February 14, 2020 D’Elia found the whole incident to be ridiculous. After expressing his love for Texas, he proclaimed, “Houston, and I hate saying this, dude, but we have a problem.” “The thing is, you became a little bit of a b*tch,” he laughed. “You started saying you’ll never eat there again, cutting up Houston Buffalo Wild Wings f**king cards. By the way, what kind of a f**king fatso are you that you have a Buffalo Wild Wings membership card?” He continued, “Also, it’s 2020. Who’s eating wings? Who is still eating wings?” The comedian continued to blast Astros fans, pulling up tweets of people cutting up their membership cards. “Look at this,” he honed in. “‘Got this gift for Christmas,’ they’re cutting up the Buffalo Wild Wings card. Dude, you got that gift for Christmas? From who? Someone that f**king hates you?” “Look at this, Kenny Swift, that’s a cu*k name, by the way,” he pulled up another and read how the Astros fan warned the Wing chain that they lost business in the fourth-largest US city. “Dude, shut up, man. Shut up. By the way, the Astros cheated. So you’re coming to the defense of people that robbed money in baseball.” Despite that fact he doesn’t eat wings, D’Elia wanted to support the company for the tweet – but ultimately couldn’t, because they apologized. So last night was the roast of Buffalo Wild Wings, courtesy of the city of Houston. And honestly, we deserved it. Well done H-Town for coming to your team’s defense, and we’re sorry about what we posted. — Buffalo Wild Wings (@BWWings) February 15, 2020 “So last night was the roast of Buffalo Wild Wings, courtesy of the city of Houston,” the account submitted. “And honestly, we deserved it. Well done H-Town for coming to your team’s defense, and we’re sorry about what we posted.” “You just solidified something. I will never eat there,” the comedian responded. “Because you went back on an opinion that, first of all, doesn’t matter. And now it’s news. And now I know about it. And guess what, Buffalo Wild Wings, next time I see my friend Jason Statham, I’m telling him not to eat there either.” For a company that specializes in wings, it’s pretty noticeable when they can’t handle the heat – and D’Elia let them know it.

Chris Brown under fire after chucking fan’s phone for taking selfies during lapdance – Dexerto
Chris Brown under fire after chucking fan’s phone for taking selfies during lapdance TikTok: ellishatokChris Brown is facing backlash after tossing a fan’s phone into the crowd when she couldn’t look away from the screen — despite getting a lapdance from Breezy on stage. A moment from Chris Brown’s 2023 tour is taking the internet by storm and sparking debate all over social media. On Wednesday, March 1, CB decided to invite a fan onstage for the performance of his song ‘Take You Down.’ However, instead of soaking up the moment, the fan pulled out her phone, seemingly to record the concert for posterity. At first, Brown took the phone from her hand and sat it in her lap before giving her a lapdance — but she pulled out her mobile once again, prompting the singer-songwriter to chuck the device directly into the crowd out of apparent frustration. Thus far, the viral clip has garnered over 2.7 million views on Twitter, as well as being posted on a bevvy of other platforms. Viewers are split as to who was in the wrong, with some defending Chris Brown’s actions while others are outraged that he may have damaged someone’s personal property. “It’s so sad that she couldn’t just enjoy the moment without taking out her phone,” one person wrote on Twitter. “Throwing the phone in the crowd was a bit aggressive.” “She was there for him,” another argued. “She should’ve just embraced the moment, being lucky enough to be on stage with him.” She was there for him she should’ve just embraced the moment being lucky enough to be on stage with him — Papa Perc™️ (@jay_heat5) March 3, 2023 “Sue him and end his career for property theft and damage to the phone,” another suggested. “Also emotional and mental damage, as well.” Sue him and end his career for property theft and damage to the phone. The artist also confirmed that the fan got her phone back by the end of the night, although it’s not clear at the time of writing if the device was damaged due to the incident. This is far from the only moment a music artist has taken over TikTok due to a specific moment during one of their concerts. In 2021, Billie Eilish was both praised and criticized for calling out security for not “pay[in] attention” during her set after several fans were allegedly seen experiencing medical issues.

Chris Chan arrest footage shows confused police as fans surround hotel room YouTube: EWU BodycamNewly released bodycam footage from Chris Chan’s 2021 arrest has revealed that the police present were confused by her internet popularity. Back in August 2021, Sonichu creator Christine Chandler was arrested in Virginia on charges involving sexual assault against her mother. She spent almost two years in custody before being released in March 2023, and has occasionally uploaded to YouTube and Twitter/X in the months since. Chris hit out against the sexual assault claims in October 2023, maintaining her innocence in a YouTube video. On August 17, 2024, YouTuber Explore With Us uploaded never-before-seen bodycam footage from the arresting officer, showing their confusion as fans surrounded the hotel she was staying at. Police quickly put the internet personality in handcuffs after she opened the door, and just minutes later noticed two men staring at them from the nearby gas station. The officer asked Chan if she recognized them, and she made it clear that she didn’t. “I would say question them because I am famous and infamous on the internet so they may be video recording,” she said. After they finally began walking Chris out to the police cruiser, the onlookers got closer to the hotel room, which prompted a reaction from the influencer. “Yeah, those are trolls, they are following me from the internet!” she said. “See, followers.” Shocked and confused, the officers expressed their thoughts with Chan as they got down to the car. “I wasn’t convinced that those were like, internet fans, but that confirms it,” said the cop. “…They’re everywhere. I can’t believe it, we’re surrounded. This is the most wild call for service I’ve ever been on.” Footage also shows Chris talking to the officer driving, explaining the various universes and topics surrounding her viral Sonichu graphic novels. She mentioned her “interdimensional” polyamorous marriage with her husband, Magi-Chan Sonichu, as well as the Pokemon Mewtwo. This isn’t the first time Explore With Us has been the first to upload bodycam footage from an influencer’s arrest. Back in July 2023, they uploaded a video showing the interaction that police had with TikToker DigitalPrincxss after her son was found wandering the streets unattended.

Chris Brown faces backlash for hanging out with YouTuber Austin McBroom – Dexerto
Chris Brown faces backlash for hanging out with YouTuber Austin McBroom Chris Brown, Austin McBroom – InstagramAmerican rapper and singer-songwriter Chris Brown is facing backlash from fans for an unexpected reason, after being seen hanging out with popular YouTuber Austin McBroom. While Chris Brown boasts his own fair share of controversies, it doesn’t look like the music artist is being slammed by fans for any fault of his own after posting a divisive video to Twitter. Instead, his fanbase is upset over another personality featured in the clip, which shows Brown busting a move with fellow rapper Tyga and YouTuber Austin McBroom. 😂🔥Gang in this bitch @Tyga @AustinMcbroom https://t.co/LL0nilbPYU pic.twitter.com/5dbdGjmu8y — Chris Brown (@chrisbrown) March 24, 2020 McBroom is the patriarch of the internet-famous ACE family, best known for their viral family vlogs and massive annual charity basketball game, which sees such celebrity invitees as Snoop Dogg, Lil Pump and other top YouTube stars. However, McBroom also boasts a somewhat divisive history on the video platform — which apparently has Chris Brown’s fans up in arms, as evidenced by comments underneath his Twitter video with the YouTuber. Those aren’t the worst of the criticisms, either: some users slammed both McBroom and Brown, with one critic writing, “Chris Brown and Austin McBroom hanging out… not surprising, since they’re both pieces of s**t.” https://twitter.com/taarlos/status/1242359011296415746?s=20 “Chris brown & Tyga are really associate with Austin McBroom,” another Tweeted. “The f**king cringe I do NOT support.” https://twitter.com/_vibewbri/status/1242699112115470341?s=20 McBroom came under fire in January 2019 for letting his young daughter eat a suggestively-shaped lollipop from Spencer’s, earning the YouTuber ample backlash across social media despite claiming that his child insisted upon having the candy. The ACE Family star also faced outrage from fans after announcing an unexpected break from holiday YouTube uploads, with critics accusing him of failing to keep his promises — prompting him to clap back at “ungrateful” viewers over the issue. No matter the case, it doesn’t look like fans are happy seeing the two celebs breaking it down for the camera any way you slice it.

Chris Brown sued for $2M after failing to open two Popeyes restaurants – Dexerto
Chris Brown sued for $2M after failing to open two Popeyes restaurants Instagram: popeyes, chrisbrownofficialChris Brown’s fans are shocked to hear he is being sued for $2 million — but why is the R&B singer in a newfound legal battle? R&B artist Chris Brown has made waves in the industry since he was 15 when he signed with Jive Records. Over the years, he went on to release 10 studio albums, some of which became multi-platinum. However, Brown isn’t just a singer, he’s also a renowned performer who has iconic dance moves as well as an established actor, having been in multiple movies like ‘Stomp the Yard’ and ‘Madea’s Witness Protection.’ Though he’s kept his reputation fairly clean since the 2009 domestic violence incident with Rihanna, Brown is currently being sued for taking out a $2 million loan to open two Popeyes restaurants. After fans heard of his lawsuit, they have been left to wonder just how much chicken one person could possibly eat, jokingly taking to social media to troll the ‘Under the Influence’ singer. Chris Brown has owed the bank for his Popeyes loan since 2018 As of February 17th of this year, Chris Brown and multiple other investors owe the bank over $2 million. Allegedly, Brown and a few others took a loan from City National Bank to open at least two Popeyes restaurants and failed to do so. CNB is now seeking to retrieve their $2 million loan as well as taxes and interest, totaling a staggering $2,140,901.74. Though the lawsuit from CNB was intended for the state of Georgia, as that is where the loan was taken from, the bank was able to recently file their lawsuit in Los Angeles, California due to Brown currently residing there. Also, Brown may have taken out the loan with multiple partners, but he, himself, owes CNB at least $1,314,367.40. It is reported that the Bank had been trying to get their money back from Brown and his affiliates since 2018. After Brown’s fans heard about the lawsuit against him, most took light of the situation, as one fan jokingly commented, “How much chicken do you have to be eating to get them to give you a loan?” How much chicken do you have to be eating to get them to give u a loan — Mike 👑 (@_sosoqueens) September 24, 2023 While others included comments like, “Ain’t no way in hell Chris brown is stealing from Popeyes… I done seen it all folks,” as well as, “He went to Popeyes and said ‘Put it on my tab.’” One fan even blamed Brown’s representatives for the poorly made deal, saying, “Nothing to see here. He took out two loans to purchase two Popeye’s locations. His accountants or attorneys didn’t do their jobs. Clearly.” Brown has yet to comment on the large loan he took to open two Popeyes restaurants, however, he just released a new song called ‘How We Roll’ with Ciara, letting fans know that he’s still in the game and dropping heat.

Chocobars immediately regrets calling out Lilypichu for talking “formally” – Dexerto
Chocobars immediately regrets calling out Lilypichu for talking “formally” Popular Twitch streamer Janet “xChocoBars” Rose experienced the immediate effects of karma after telling her viewers about fellow broadcaster Lily “Lilypichu” Ki’s overly polite conversational habits. xChocoBars is a popular face on Twitch, known for streaming League of Legends as well as chatting with her audience. It was during one of these conversations that Choco brought up fellow streamer LilyPichu, another League of Legends broadcaster who is also part of the well-known content creation group “OfflineTV.” While Pichu boasts a unique, high-pitched voice, Choco also claimed that she is incredibly polite when speaking to her, even over casual matters like organizing hangouts and other such subjects. “Guys, every time I talk to Lily, she talks like that,” she began, before diving into a humorous imitation of her friend. “‘Would you like to call?’ ‘I would like you to know that.’ ‘Hello, Janet.’ She’s always like that.” Little did Choco know that Lily was tuning into her broadcast at that very moment, and decided to get on a Discord call with her friend to set matters straight. “Hello Lily,” Choco answered, still imitating Lily’s “formal” tone of voice as they began a call. “Hey girl!” Lily answered bombastically. “What’s up? How you doin’? Oh my god, how’s Toronto, oh my god! Are you there? Oh my god, f**k. Happy New Year’s! Mwah.” Choco placed her hands over her face in embarrassment as she laughed, realizing that Lily must have tuned into her broadcast and heard her good-natured remarks. “Were you listening?” she asked through laughter. “Yeah, I was listening,” Lily answered. “You know what? F**k this sh**, I’m not gonna be like that anymore. I’m gonna be different.” The two continued to troll each other before moving on to other topics, but there’s no denying that Chocobars’ unintentional blunder made for a hilarious moment in Twitch history, thanks to Lilypichu’s quick reaction and good-natured sense of humor. Lily’s response to her friend’s callout also follows her split with fellow streamer Albert “Sleightlymusical” Chang in November 2019, showing that despite the drama, she holds plenty of cheer in her heart.

Chocolate Rain star under fire after reporting wrong Overwatch player for ‘n-word’ slur – Dexerto
Chocolate Rain star under fire after reporting wrong Overwatch player for ‘n-word’ slur L: Blizzard. R: Tay Zonday – YouTubeTay Zonday, YouTuber and singer of the viral ‘Chocolate Rain’ song, wrongly accused an Overwatch player of uttering a racial slur on his stream. The singer, whose iconic Chocolate Rain video has racked up over 120 million views since being uploaded in 2007, has been using Twitch to stream on an on-and-off again basis – sticking to Overwatch. While he does not have the most regular of streaming schedules, that doesn’t stop others trying their best to troll him or his stream – including some who go to the depths of uttering racial slurs like the ‘n-word’ in a bid to draw a reaction. What happened on Tay Zonday’s stream? During his April 28 stream, after finishing up a game on Blizzard World, the YouTuber had been watching the Play of the Game highlight when a racial slur of the ‘n-word’ was uttered before a number of players quickly dropped out of the lobby. “Who was that? Who said that unnecessarily rude … I didn’t even hear who that was,” stated TayZonday. After checking who left the game, the singer noted a player named ‘Spawn’ had left first. “I’m going to assume it was Spawn,” he said, before moving to report the player for ‘abusive chat.’ One member of his chat backed up his assumption, however, a rewind of the moment would show that the username ‘cr3ativeM1nd’ appeared in the top-left hand corner as the only person to speak during the slur. Tay Zonday continued on with his stream for a few more games of Overwatch, with one viewer continuing to back up him on the assumption that it wasn’t Spawn who uttered the slur – despite others disagreeing and telling him to review the footage. “It seemed like Spawn,” added the YouTuber, while staring directly into his camera. “That [the slur] wasn’t necessary.” Clips of the incident were also posted to the LivestreamFails subreddit, where Redditors immediately tried to break down just how the wrong person had been accused of making the racial slur. “Records everything, there is a clip functionality, probably has chat that could do it and he still reports the wrong person,” posted Rasalas8910, puzzled by how ‘Spawn’ could be accused when there was evidence to suggest otherwise. Read More: Top 20 most liked YouTube Videos – Twitch users even re-clipped the moment of the accusation with titles such as ‘check your facts, you reported the wrong player,’ hoping to draw attention to their evidence. Has Tay Zonday responded? While, of course, there is no need for any sort of racism in or out of games, TayZonday didn’t address what had happened before ending his stream, nor has he used any other of his social media accounts to speak on the issue. It remains to be seen if any sort of fallout proceeds to come from the interaction – including whether or not the wrongly accused player will suffer any consequences, which could lead to a possible ban from Overwatch, for what happened.

Chloe Burrows responds to backlash after comparing Ron to former Love Island star – Dexerto
Chloe Burrows responds to backlash after comparing Ron to former Love Island star ITVChloe Burrows has broken her silence over the backlash she received by comparing Love Island stars of past and present, Ron Hall and Jake Cornish. On February 16, Chloe compared Season 7 Love Island cast member Jake Cornish to current ‘bad boy’ Ron Hall. Ron has had an up-and-down time in the villa, testing the waters with other bombshell arrivals despite having a clear connection with Lana Jenkins. He put that right by staying loyal in Casa Amor, but has been accused of playing a game by encouraging the other boys to explore. Former contestant Chloe Burrows took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the topic, saying: “Ron is the Jake of this season, sorry,” tagging Jake’s official account. Since it was posted, Chloe has received a number of messages from viewers disappointed by the comparison. One said: “Chlo babe I usually agree with you but I don’t agree with you on this.” chlo babe i usually agree with you but i don’t agree with you on this — hols (@holslauren) February 16, 2023 Another said: “No he didn’t actively encourage the boys to dabble actually he just kept himself to himself.” Not every comment disagreed, but she’s responded to the drama around the tweet nevertheless. “Literally encouraging the boys to do nonsense — Ron is a game player through and through,” a third user chimed in. Chloe Burrows responds to backlash from Love Island fans On February 17, the dust settled on the dramatic recoupling around the firepit. Chloe addressed the comments by stating that she was still friends with Jake and that the tweet was just ‘banter’. “Loool seen some stuff about my tweet about Jake – me and @Jake_Cornish7 are very good friends!!! Always has been – was banter so let’s not get carried away :)))” Previously, Jake has stated that he was not speaking to any of the girls from the season he was a part of. According to Jake, the Love Island 2021 WhatsApp chat was “no longer” as he hadn’t heard from any of the girls since leaving the villa. “I don’t speak to any of the girls. I think I’m a lone wolf that side. They’re there and I’ve just gone this way,” said Jake Cornish. However, Chloe quickly then squashed those rumors of a feud revealing that there was “no bad blood between anyone”. When speaking to Metro.co.uk, Chloe said, “I mean I literally got a message off him this morning so it’s definitely not me. There’s a big WhatsApp group but I don’t think people use it. I just feel like there were closer friendships in the villa and stuff that have stayed on the outside, but as far as I know, there’s no bad blood between anyone. “I’ve literally messaged him this morning. Me and Jake are cool.” Meanwhile, Love Island fans called Ron Hall a ‘game player’ on Thursday night after he tried to persuade Tom Clare to recouple with a new Casa Amor girl. The footballer revealed that he was confused between two girls during the episode after he was torn away from partner Samie Elishi, being joined by a new group of girls instead. During the time apart, Tom has grown close to new arrival Lydia Karakyriakou and even shared a kiss with the Casa Amor bombshell during Wednesday’s episode.

Chloe Ting reveals she may end YouTube career: “I don’t know if it’s worth it” – Dexerto
Chloe Ting reveals she may end YouTube career: “I don’t know if it’s worth it” YouTube: Chloe TingYouTuber and fitness personality Chloe Ting revealed that she’s considering ending her channel soon, claiming that all the hate and people trying to take advantage of her is more than she can bear. Chloe Ting runs one of the most successful fitness channels on YouTube. However, she claims it comes at the hefty price of people trying to come after her over every little thing she does. In April 2021, a bunch of “gym bros” tried to criticize her workouts, so she collaborated with three of them to see if they could make it through one of them. And it didn’t take them long to realize it wasn’t a walk in the park. However, the hatred directed towards her hasn’t slowed down. In fact, she claims it’s worsened – especially after some people tried to “villainize” her by claiming she misled people and promoting eating disorders. And she’s had enough. “I’ve been thinking about quitting YouTube once and for all and just being done with it,” she confessed. “I’ve been burnt out for some time now. The stress, the pressure, and the hate… sometimes I just don’t know if it’s worth it.” Chloe explained that it feels like she’s “walking on eggshells” and has to watch “every little thing” she says. As explained, she said that something simple like her enjoying chocolate could “turn into an eating disorder.” “Everyone on social media gets hate, and it’s normalized. But it gets really challenging and hurtful when some people try to villainize me,” she added, referring to accusations that she misleads people and promotes eating disorders. Chloe also claimed that certain brands are “trying to take advantage” of her by selling merch under her name even though their products have nothing to do with her. And in the end, these issues are “putting a lot of weight” on her. Fortunately, Chloe hasn’t rushed into making the decision to call it quits yet. After venting about the situation, she thanked fans for taking the time to listen and assured them that she’ll be back for another video, although she didn’t say when. Perhaps a bit of time off is all she needs to bounce back.

Chloe Ting hits back at “gym bros” who tried to roast her YouTube workouts – Dexerto
Chloe Ting hits back at “gym bros” who tried to roast her YouTube workouts Twitter: Chloe TingYouTuber and fitness personality Chloe Ting is tired of having gym bros bash her workouts, so in her latest video, she put three of them to the test and was pleasantly surprised to see them struggle. Chloe Ting’s popularity has skyrocketed in the past year. More than 19.5 million people are currently subscribed to her YouTube channel to stay up to date with her simple and effective fitness workouts. But all that success hasn’t sat well with gym bros, who often claim her workouts are ineffective. So, in her latest video, she decided to have a bit of fun as she watched three of them give her workouts a go. Not only did they find the workouts challenging, but they also had nothing but kind words to say about them afterward. “There are a number of people bashing my workouts,” she said. In her view, many gym bros “despise” her because they base their entire opinion on one or two videos instead of assessing them all. “It’s really hard to please everyone in [a] single video, and that’s the reason why [they] like to bash me.” After watching three different gym bros struggle with her workouts and even compliment them, they all concluded it was effective. “I hate that people always think that it’s just a girls’ workout. It’s like they’re trying to invalidate [it].” In the end, Chloe hopes her haters and doubters learned a valuable lesson from this video. It’s easy to dismiss her workouts as ineffective, but until you actually try some of them, it’s impossible to know for sure. They’re clearly working wonders for her millions of followers, and they might work for you too; you’ll have to give them a go!

That’s her.” She went on to say how she feels “cooler now because of you,” remembering a conversation with Halle. “When little kids come up to me, sometimes they’ll be like, ‘Are you the little mermaid?’ I’m like, “No, but I’m little mermaid’s sister.’ Can you say that?!” Elsewhere, in the lengthy interview, Chloe opened up about her new album, Christmas music, Chloe x Halle tunes, and being cheated on.

This isn’t the first time that Myth has been directly involved in Chipotle’s marketing, either, after working in one of the company’s restaurants in March. TSM uploaded a video of his day’s experience, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the work that’s done at Chipotle every day to prepare and serve the food. If fans don’t want to wait around to get their hands on the branded version, though, Chipotle more than certainly will have the ingredients used inside the Myth Burrito available at their restaurants already. Myth’s favorite burrito recipe in the video was revealed to be more or less the same as the burrito that’s now being released with his name on it, with the exception of corn salsa and green chili salsa, but there’s no stopping people from putting their own spin on the branded dish.

Chipotle manager reportedly fired after TikTok of calling the police over a customer complaint – Dexerto
Chipotle manager reportedly fired after TikTok of calling the police over a customer complaint TikTokA Chipotle manager was fired by the company after a TikTok video of him calling the police on a customer went viral. Fast food restaurants are almost always home to some wacky stories and strange goings-on, not least the McDonald’s Grimace shake trend that has been going viral throughout the summer of 2023. The latest debacle has seen a fiery argument between a Chipotle manager and customer, regarding a complaint made about an order. But things escalated as the manager ended up calling the police on the customer. What happened with the Chipotle manager? In late May, a TikTok account going by the username @user875640854 posted a video, a repost from a since-deleted account. It showed a heated argument between a customer and a Chipotle manager. The TikTok has garnered over 300,000 views on the platform at the time of writing. The TikToker had come into the store with a complaint about an order of two bowls which were missing steak. However, they failed to provide any evidence as the food had already been eaten. “I’m happy to call and get you kicked out,” the general manager is heard saying at the beginning of the video. He requests the customer to leave before he makes the call but ends up calling them. While the manager is talking to the police, the TikToker said, “If this goes viral… You’re gonna see.” TikTok users’ mixed reaction Many viewers on TikTok came to the defense of the Chipotle manager, as the video received mixed reactions. A comment read, “If you eat the food and don’t make the complaint until it’s gone, that’s on you. Otherwise, everyone would scam them.” While another response under the video said, “Your kids ate the food and you came back expecting more food? lol”. A user asked who eats the entire meal and then comes for a refund. But there was also support towards the customer as they called out the Chipotle manager. “@Chipotle it’s getting out of hand customer service a 0-10,” one commenter said. TikToker claims Chipotle manager was fired Another reaction under the TikTok video asked Chipotle if they will fire the manager and crew, something the customer claimed had happened in a follow-up video. The description of the video read, “removing Davin as GM was the right decision,” as well as showing business cards for a Chipotle general manager called Maria Lopez, suggesting that somebody new had stepped up. This video was met with a negative response as many users stated that the TikToker could have just called customer service and gotten a free entrée or full refund. Another comment read, “If you get an employee fired for something this minuscule it only shows that ur unhappy in life and want to project. He’s got a family too.” There have been no further developments regarding the situation.

Chipotle in Kansas City changes its name after Travis Kelce’s old tweet goes viral – Dexerto
Chipotle in Kansas City changes its name after Travis Kelce’s old tweet goes viral Instagram: killatrav, X/Twitter: chipotletweetsA Chipotle restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri changed their name ahead of the Chiefs game tonight after an old Travis Kelce tweet resurfaced. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has consistently made headlines with both his football and relationship stats. However, most recently, Kelce’s resurfaced tweet about Chipotle has caused a location in Kansas City to change their restaurant’s name ahead of tonight’s Chiefs game. To make the ordeal even more official, the restaurant even added a new sign to mimic Kelce’s hilarious tweet. Chipotle’s official X/Twitter account changed its name to mimic Travis Kelce’s old tweet Twelve years ago, on April 27, 2011, Travis Kelce tweeted, “Went from class to therapy, now I need some #chipolte and then I’m off to check out my new apt!!” However, he misspelled “Chipotle” by switching the t and the l. Went from class to therapy, now I need some #chipolte and then I’m off to check out my new apt!! — Travis Kelce (@tkelce) April 27, 2011 Though the tweet was from many years ago, an actual Chipotle in Kansas City chose to change the sign of their restaurant to mimic how Kelce misspelled it. The sign is already hanging from the Kansas City location, as the Chiefs will be playing the Philadelphia Eagles tonight at their home stadium, Arrowhead. Chipotle’s official X/Twitter account also changed its name to “Chipolte” to go along with Kelce’s tweet. Though some fans trolled Kelce for his spelling mistake, others commended him for being relatable for dining at the same place every day people eat at. Some fans even commented their best Taylor Swift and Chipotle puns like, “Sometimes I feel like Chipotle is a sexy baby.” While another added in some football talk by asking Chipotle to “throw” them a free burrito. As for tonight’s game, the Chiefs (7-2) and Eagles (8-1) go head-to-head at 8:15 p.m. EST.

“Chipotle is my life” kid goes viral on TikTok with recreation of iconic Vine – Dexerto
“Chipotle is my life” kid goes viral on TikTok with recreation of iconic Vine TikTok: yungsofiThe kid who went viral on Vine in 2014 for his iconic “Chipotle is my life” has made a comeback on TikTok, going viral again for his recreation of the original. [jwplayer pNjHVqy4] A period of the internet that many people remember fondly is the few years between 2013 and 2016 that Vine was active. Vine was an app that allowed users to post short six-second videos that would repeat on a loop, and it was the home of a whole host of creators that have since migrated onto other platforms after the app was shut down in 2016. Although it wasn’t around for long, Vine birthed a huge number of iconic memes, and to this day people upload compilations to YouTube to preserve their favorite videos. One video that remains a staple of that era, shows a young boy saying to the camera, “oh my God, I love Chipotle, Chipotle is my life.” It fast became a widely quoted meme, even years after the app shut down, thanks to his unique tone of voice and the relatable quote. Though in the years since the platform shut down, many have been left wondering what happened to the viral stars who became infamous thanks to a single six-second clip. People’s questions were answered when the now 12-year-old kid from the original video Chipotle, Roy Murray, made an appearance on TikTok with a new video. The video featured Roy completing his own iconic quote seven years on, saying, “Chipotle’s still my life” as a twist on the original, managing to mimic the exact same tone of voice from the popular video. Chipotle’s repost of the video has over four million views and 800,000 likes, with users flooding the comment section to express their surprise. “He came back to reclaim his throne!” one commenter said, another writing, “tell me you’re old without telling me you’re old.” In the caption, Chipotle revealed that Roy is now sponsored, and the company has even collaborated with the young star on an apparel range featuring the iconic quote. It was a surprise to many to see this familiar face pop up on their For You Page, but people seemed to love encountering the Vine throwback.

Chinese VTuber’s kidnapping claim deemed fake by agency after six-month hiatus – Dexerto
Chinese VTuber’s kidnapping claim deemed fake by agency after six-month hiatus YouTube: 王戈wgChinese VTuber Porin went viral after claims she was kidnapped, leading to a six-month hiatus. However, her agency has denied this story, citing a police investigation allegedly uncovering no evidence. 柏凛Pori, translated to ‘Sleeping Devil Porin’, was thrusted into the international spotlight after a damning video posted onto the Chinese social media platform bilibili on May 21. In the video, Porin claimed that her six-month period of inactivity was due to her being kidnapped and abused. The streamer’s graphic descriptions garnered international attention. Porin stated she was taken in by an “Aunty”, a term specifically used to refer to middle-aged women involved in triad activity. However, the VTuber’s story has since been called into question. The VTuber’s agency, MOFU-F, released a statement rebutting Porin’s story, claiming she fabricated it for attention on the internet. The agency states Chinese police looked into the story and “verified the content is untrue.” There’s been no official statement from any police body surrounding the incident, and MOFU-F has not offered an alternate explanation for Porin’s hiatus. Porin’s original video has since been taken down from Bilibili. 1/2 At 17:05 p.m. on May 21, 2022, the account “”Bai Lin porin”” released a video about the fact that I was abducted and sold after disappearing for half a year. The police verified that the content was untrue. It occupied social resources and had a negative impact on the society. — Issac Bridges (@Xu_Issac_Probe) May 31, 2022 Without an official investigation into the events described by Porin, fans of the VTuber have been left dissatisfied with the statement by MOFU-F. Some fans are in open opposition of the agency statement wishing to show support and “tell her we believe her“. Human trafficking and kidnapping is a problem in China. Abduction of women in the country occurs at a rate several times that of comparable nations. Porin has not responded to the agency’s claim. We will update you as new information comes to light.

Chipotle customer splits viewers after “training” employees how to wrap burrito TIKTOK: thenumba1guidoA Chipotle customer has gone viral on TikTok for “training” employees how to wrap a loaded burrito after they were struggling to manage it. TikToker thenumba1guido, who claims he’s “Ranked #1 Guido,” left viewers divided after sharing a video of himself instructing Chipotle employees on how to handle his over-stuffed burrito order. “I’m telling you, you put half of the food onto that burrito and you’ll be good,” he told the workers while recording them. “I train people how to wrap these all the time, I swear to god.” After the employees struggled to contain the huge amount of ingredients inside the tortilla wrap, the customer suggested the technique of “overlapping” to manage the load. The workers laughed as they tried their best to wrap the loaded burrito. “They should pay me for training people how to wrap a burrito,” the TikToker joked. But when the burrito seemed beyond salvation, he suggested that the employees “just wrap it in the tin foil like that and I’ll take it home.” TikTok split over customer’s Chipotle order “Am I going to hell,” he captioned the clip, which has gone viral with 1.7 million views. TikTok users had mixed reactions to the customer’s over-stuffed burrito, with many sympathizing with the workers. “You got the whole Chipotle employees stressing,” one person commented. “I hope you tip them after they make that for you bro,” another said. “Man just get two burritos,” a third suggested. Others were in hysterics over the incident. “The prices are going up when they see this,” one user quipped. “The blind leading the blind,” another wrote. “I’ve been practicing wrapping giant burritos in case you ever come to my store,” someone else shared. This is just the latest fast-food story to take off on TikTok, after a Subway worker was praised for responding to a customer’s complaints with literal receipts.

Chinese streamer’s hand reportedly cut off after man attacks him with sword – Dexerto
Chinese streamer’s hand reportedly cut off after man attacks him with sword Twitter/whyyoutouzheleA Chinese streamer’s live broadcast ended in disaster when a man wielding a sword began attacking people and even sliced off the influencer’s hand, with the incident captured on stream. On May 23, a Chinese streamer broadcasting from Xiamen, Fujian was chatting with a friend when out of nowhere, a man with a sword showed up and attacked the duo. In a clip going viral on social media, the Chinese IRL streamer and his friend were quick to escape from the sword-wielding man, but only after the attacker appeared to cut off his hand during the altercation. Another piece of footage of the incident shows a group of people in the area running as the attacker chases them and continues to swing the weapon. In total, 99 people were watching the broadcast when the attack occurred and it’s since gone viral, spreading through social media in both China and further afield. Man arrested after cutting off Chinese streamer’s hand with sword According to Asia One, an ambulance and police officers were dispatched to the scene after getting reports of a fight in progress. The police then discovered that the suspect, named ‘Luo’ had an argument with the streamer and his friend on Douyin, the Chinese TikTok, and retaliated by attacking them with a sword. The streamer and his friend were taken to the hospital for “non-life-threatening injuries” despite losing a hand and being slashed in the back. Photos also surfaced online showing the victim’s hand laying on the ground, leading to users to call for justice against the sword-wielding individual. An image was also shared of a man in a hospital bed with his arm wrapped over where his hand would be. A few hours later after the violent assault, police found the suspect and arrested him, but the investigation is still ongoing. This is not the first disturbing incident involving a livestreamer to be filmed. In October of 2022, an IRL Twitch streamer was attacked by a group of “drunk kids” in Amsterdam.

Chinese Twitch streamer’s mom warns her about copying Amouranth’s bikini streams – Dexerto
Chinese Twitch streamer’s mom warns her about copying Amouranth’s bikini streams Instagram/AmouranthA Chinese Twitch streamer wanted to see her mom’s reaction after showing her one of Amouranth’s broadcasts – and she was completely against the idea of bikini streams. Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is the top female streamer in the world, beating out the likes of Pokimane and Valkyrae in terms of hours watched, and is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. On her journey to success, Amouranth’s controversial content resulted in several Twitch bans in addition to helping pioneer the controversial hot tub meta. When Twitch streamer ‘cc979’ decided to show her mom an Amouranth broadcast over dinner, things didn’t exactly go over too well. Mom warns daughter against streaming like Amouranth After pulling up an Amouranth stream on her phone and waiting for it to buffer, cc979 showed her mother the broadcast – and she was not a big fan. Shortly after laying eyes on the bikini streamer, cc979’s mom shielded her eyes and dismissed the content. “Don’t show me and never tell me,” the streamer’s mom told her daughter about potentially copying Amouranth’s style. “Don’t let me know.” Unfortunately for cc979, her mom started believing that her daughter would actually start streaming like that, commenting how “If you’re not going to do it, then why are you showing me?” “She thinks I’m going to do it now. Sh*t,” she grumbled. It’s worth noting, however, that the streamer didn’t tell her mom that Amouranth is making around $100,000 a month from Twitch. Still, it’s clear that parents are quite protective of their children and would sometimes rather not know everything about their streaming careers.

Chinese-speaking YouTuber catches Chinese women “gossiping” about him – Dexerto
Chinese-speaking YouTuber catches Chinese women “gossiping” about him xiaomanyc, YouTubePopular multilingual YouTuber ‘Xiaomanyc’ caught women “gossiping” about him during his latest February 7 vlog around New York City’s Chinatown. Xiaomanyc has built a massive following of over 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube for his entertaining vlog series where he surprises people with incredible fluency in different Chinese dialects. During his latest upload, the popular YouTuber had set out to get a makeover with his friend in Chinatown, New York, planning to catch people off guard with their Chinese-speaking abilities during their trip to the hair and nail salons. Xiaomanyc often tends to cheekily mislead those he encounters during his Vlog by speaking English with them at first, and then switches mid-conversation to make for an interesting reaction. Although when he entered the nail salon during his latest video, his ploy to surprise the workers there did not quite go as he planned. After the YouTuber and his friend spoke English with the employee for a short while, she turned to one of her co-workers and began talking about them in Chinese, even calling them crazy for filming the experience. Topic starts at 4:06 for mobile users. Xiaomanyc seemed to let the woman’s comments go, however, and later revealed his fluency in Mandarin, transitioning to the Chinese language during a conversation with his friend about what color nails they should get. The employee was startled after noticing them make the switch, “Hold on, you guys speak Chinese?” she asked before looking over at her co-workers in disbelief. Despite the fact he noticed her “gossiping” earlier, Xiaomanyc still remained friendly towards the nail technician during his time in the salon and explained how he picked up his skills. The video has gone incredibly viral, hitting over 7 million views in only two days. The YouTuber continued to impress throughout the rest of his vlog and even started speaking in the employee’s native dialect of Fuzhounese once he found out where in China she was from. He also speaks Cantonese, and has shown that off in other similarly viral videos.

Chinese streamer Viya cracks TIME’s 100 Most Influential for 2021 – Dexerto
Chinese streamer Viya cracks TIME’s 100 Most Influential for 2021 YouTube, Hangzhou ChinaStreamers have officially made it, as Chinese live-streamer, Huang ‘Viya’ Wei cracked TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2021 list — a testament to the industry’s rise, but mostly to her prowess as a businesswoman, entertainer, and philanthropist. Viya isn’t your typical Twitch live streamer. And not just because she doesn’t stream on Twitch. The 36-year-old streams on Taobao and is known for ecommerce broadcasts, during which she’s sold everything from noodles to… a $6 million rocket. Yes, you read that right: a $6 million rocket. While Bloomberg’s Allen Wan calls her “a cross between Martha Stewart and Kim Kardashian,” TIME has honored Viya in the 2021 Most Influential 100 list for her successes in both business and philanthropy. As explained in the YouTube video above, Viya raised around $32 million for Wuhan in 2020 with a fundraising live stream. And this isn’t a one-off either, as explained in TIME’s profile written by Miranda Kerr. Among Viya’s other charitable efforts, Kerr described over $300,000 raised for Red Cross following 2021 floods in China, as well as donations to help build 18 schools in rural China. Summing up her feelings about the streamer, Kerr explained that she is “deeply inspired by both [Viya’s] impact and her down-to-earth spirit.” At this point, Viya’s not just a streamer anymore, with additional accolades including boosting tourism to Hangzhou. As far as a streamer though, she’s set a different standard. Selling rockets to millionaires is one thing, but her streams are far from exclusive — as she regularly recommends things like cosmetics and food. Her audience has only grown over the years, hitting numbers like 36 million viewers in 2020, according to a Bloomberg report. That same Bloomberg piece described Viya’s streams as “part variety show, part infomercial, part group chat.” One could say she’s like the hyper-successful, hyper-charitable “final boss” of Twitch’s Just Chatting section. Whatever analogy you choose, it’s got to be pretty cool to see a streamer recognized on a list with major cultural and business icons like Lil Nas X and Elon Musk.

Chinese influencer dies after binge drinking on live stream – Dexerto
Chinese influencer dies after binge drinking on live stream South China Morning PostChinese streamer ‘Sanqiange’ died after drinking four bottles of liquor for a deadly ‘challenge’ during a live broadcast. Viral challenges are all the rage across the internet — but sometimes, these fads can become deadly. Chinese streamer Sanquiange is just the latest victim of a dangerous ‘challenge’ he took part in during a May 16 broadcast. According to reports, the streamer began a live-streamed contest at 11 AM that day where he drank over four bottles of baijiu, also known as ‘Chinese vodka.’ Chinese streamer dies after drinking 4 bottles of liquor in live broadcast A short clip from the tragic broadcast has gone viral on Chinese social media platforms, showing the man guzzling the bottles of alcohol without pausing. Reports state that more than 100 people had signed into the stream while it was live without any comments expressing concerns for the influencer’s health. The next day, Sanquiange’s friend found him sitting face-down at a desk in his home, unresponsive. He was later proclaimed dead. “He had a wonderful personality,” another of Sanquiange’s friends, Zhao, said in a statement to Shangyou News. “He was very sincere and gentle.” Zhao also claimed that the streamer had begun broadcasting following a failed business endeavor four years ago. Sanquiange was seemingly well-known for his drinking streams, where he would hold online drinking contests with other streamers to see who could put down the most liquor. This is far from the first time an online challenge has resulted in such a tragic outcome. Popular social media platform TikTok was actually sued by parents after several children passed away trying the ‘Blackout Challenge’ they reportedly saw on the app, which challenges users to hold their breath until they pass out. As a result, TikTok banned videos about the Blackout Challenge — something they also did with the ‘Milk Crate Challenge,’ which resulted in a slew of injuries during its heyday in Summer 2021.

Chinese mukbang streamer dies live on stream after overeating – Dexerto
Chinese mukbang streamer dies live on stream after overeating Pan XiaotingA Chinese streamer known for her mukbang content died during a live broadcast on July 14 due to overeating. Pan Xiaoting, a 24-year-old content creator from China reportedly took part in extreme eating challenges where she’d consume food for ten hours straight without any breaks. In one challenge, Xiaoting had consumed multiple meals containing 22lbs of food. At one point, she had been hospitalized when she suffered gastric bleeding due to her eating habits. However, she was discharged from the hospital and continued to create mukbang content the very next day, even as fans expressed concern for her. On July 14, Xiaoting was in the middle of a broadcast when she suddenly died. According to Hankyung, an autopsy revealed that her abdomen was “severely deformed” and her stomach was found to be full of undigested food. The cause of death was due to “overeating.” Mukbangs consist of creators gorging on plates of food, typically of an unhealthy variety and while popular, the trend has proven to be controversial over the years, too. Interestingly, Xiaoting’s content was illegal in China. In 2021, the country passed an anti-food waste law that would fine media platforms 100,000 Chinese yuan (around $15,000 USD) for hosting content featuring “large amounts of eating, overeating.” The law was introduced after Chinese President Xi Jinping called food waste a “distressing” problem facing the country. Mukbang content has caused controversy in other parts of the world, too. In 2021, PewDiePie called out YouTuber Nikocado Avocado for “blatantly promoting obesity” with his eating videos. This isn’t the first time that weight and eating issues have resulted in the death of a Chinese influencer. In 2023, content creator Cuihua died while attempting to lose 200 pounds at a weight loss camp. The user had amassed a following on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, before her death.

Yan Chenglong, 48, won the national Chinese chess and acquired the title of “Xiangqi King” at a national tournament hosted by the Chinese Xiangqi Association (CXA) on December 17, 2023. However, Yan was stripped of his title on Monday, December 25, after his victory celebration ended with him pooing in a hotel bathtub. This has since fueled rumors that he had cheated in the tournament by using anal beads equipped with wireless transmitters to send and receive information to a computer on what moves to make. They wrote that it was “currently impossible to prove that Yan engaged in cheating via ‘anal beads,’” but did say that the pooping part was right. “Based on our understanding of the situation, it is currently impossible to prove that Yan engaged in cheating via ‘anal beads’ as speculated on social media,” the CXA said, per The Guardian. “Yan consumed alcohol with others in his room on the night of the 17th, and then he defecated in the bathtub of the room he was staying in on the 18th, in an act that damaged hotel property, violated public order and good morals, had a negative impact on the competition and the event of Xiangqi, and was of extremely bad character,” the association said. The CXA stripped Yan of his title, revoked his prize money, and banned him from playing for a year, the Global Times reported. Yan has since denied the allegations, claiming that he suffered from diarrhea after drinking alcohol and couldn’t make it to the toilet in time, the Global Times reported, citing another Chinese outlet, Shangyou News. He claims that the decision to strip him of his title resulted in mental distress. We’ve all been there; you roll up to your local McDonald’s, craving an Oreo McFlurry, just to get hit with the dreaded line — “Aw, sorry man, our ice cream machine is broken.” It’s a disappointing turn of events that leaves your ice cream dreams totally shattered… but one McDonald’s customer had the best way of handling these kinds of situations. TikToker Bryan Arnett rolled up to his Micky D’s when he was hit with a sign on the drive-thru window saying that his location was completely out of chicken tenders, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, ranch, and buffalo sauce. That’s a very specific list of items — but it gave Arnett a hilarious idea that he immediately put into action (and, of course, filmed for TikTok). His recording of the encounter shows him rattling off that exact order to the person working the drive-thru window in full, but in just a natural enough way to seem genuine. “Can I please get a six-piece chicken tender with a Dr. Pepper and a medium Sprite, with some ranch dressing and buffalo?” he asked. Luckily, the worker on the end of the line had a good-humored reaction to Arnett’s practical joke — and possibly the best response he could have asked for. “You’re f**kin’ with me, aren’t you?” the worker asked, prompting everyone in the car to burst into laughter, which the worker joined in on. Click here if TikTok fails to load. The TikTok has found its way to users’ For You Pages most recently after another TikToker by the name WattsonThunder re-uploaded the short clip to his account, garnering over 3 million views. The original video, taken by Bryan Arnett, was first uploaded in August 2021 and accrued over 14 million views. This is far from the first time McDonald’s has gone viral on TikTok; in April 2022, a proposal in a McDonald’s restaurant took the app by storm after it failed in the most spectacular way possible.

Child screeching on 29-hour flight sparks outrage on TikTok – Dexerto
Child screeching on 29-hour flight sparks outrage on TikTok Unsplash.com: Tim Bish / TikTok: balubrigadaAn unfortunate TikToker documented his 29-hour flight with a child that wouldn’t stop screaming throughout the trip — and commenters are outraged on his behalf. Traveling can be a fun experience, but flying is another ball of wax. From waiting in long lines at security to checking bags and more, the most convenient form of long-distance travel has turned into a stressful and expensive affair for many travelers… but one TikToker’s plane experience takes the cake. TikToker Balu Brigada is going viral on the video-sharing platform after documenting his eye-twitching adventure on a 29-hour flight to Berlin, Germany. TikToker’s 29-hour flight with screaming child goes viral His video contains several clips taken throughout his flight, all of which feature the near-constant screeches of a young child. Luckily, the TikToker seemed to take the noise with good humor, captioning his various clips with humorous ‘compliments’ like, “The kid’s got some lungs,” “Great projection,” A nice long one [scream] here,” “Kettle’s boiled,” and “Stellar performance. Incredible stamina. 10/10.” During the video, Brigada’s eye is almost constantly twitching out of annoyance… and commenters are deeply empathizing with his plight. More than a few viewers suggested that airlines sell child-free flights, while others called the video the “perfect birth control.” “Honestly, there should be kid-free flights and kid flights,” one user suggested. “I would pay EXTRA for kid-free flights,” another said. “I think my tubes just tied themselves,” another joked. Brigada’s video brought up the age-old question — is it a good idea to bring babies on flights? Many pediatricians agree that it’s best to wait for newborns’ immune systems are better developed, but say that air travel is generally fine for “most healthy, full-term infants.” This is just the latest airplane-related fiasco to go viral after a TikToker airdropped some sensitive content to strangers at an airport.

Chick-fil-A worker goes viral for ranting about customer’s massive drive-thru order – Dexerto
Chick-fil-A worker goes viral for ranting about customer’s massive drive-thru order TikTok: shordietokA Chick-fil-A worker has gone viral on TikTok for exposing a drive-thru customer and their shockingly large order. Not only are fast food restaurants around every corner, but they are also quick and cheaper than most dining options. What’s more, places like Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, and others offer the easily accessible option of ordering through a drive-thru. However, sometimes customers take advantage of the drive-thru option when they have huge orders, holding up a line that’s supposed to be more convenient than walking in and ordering. Unfortunately for one Chick-fil-A worker, she was met with this exact predicament, later taking to TikTok to expose a customer for placing a drive-thru order that was big enough to be considered catering. Fast food workers slam customers who make huge orders in the drive-thru Usually, a single drive-thru order consists of a simple entree with extra sauce packets and maybe a sweet treat — but for Abby, who works at Chick-fil-A, she’s had multiple people place drive-thru orders larger than normal. Though Abby typically takes to TikTok to share her positive experiences while working at the popular fast food restaurant, she recently posted a cheeky video throwing shade at someone who ordered a five thirty-piece nuggets while in the drive-thru. Yes, that’s right — 150 crispy and golden chicken nuggets were expected to be fried and packaged in a matter of minutes, as most drive-thru orders only take a few minutes to assemble and distribute. Since posting her video to TikTok, plenty of fast food employees have chimed in on their experiences while dealing with large drive-thru orders, saying, “I used to work at Chick-fil-A and I took a $230 order through the drive-thru… I was happy to take the order, but they should’ve ordered catering instead.” While another commented, “I had a church that would occasionally come to McDonald’s and order 100 McChickens and 100 Cheeseburgers — UNANNOUNCED DURING RUSH HOUR.” One viewer even stated that calling ahead of time with large orders should be the protocol, saying, “It should for real be standard to call in when you have a big order or bus full of people coming in.” Though Abby wasn’t too upset about dealing with the drive-thru Chick-fil-A order that was large enough to be catering, she did receive many similar stories, making the experience worth the hassle, as she was able to relate to many other fast food workers.

Chihuahua causes interstate traffic jam after escaping vehicle – Dexerto
Chihuahua causes interstate traffic jam after escaping vehicle TikTok: noahglenncarterA chihuahua escaped from their owner’s vehicle and caused a traffic jam on the interstate during a long chase. A chihuahua proved to be the ultimate escape artist after running away on the interstate. The dog ran for so long that it caused a traffic jam from multiple people risking their safety for the safety of the pup. Though many people stopped their cars to capture the chihuahua, was it able to be rescued before it was too late? TikTokers relate video of chihuahua running on interstate to GTA Chihuahuas may have short legs, but their ability to run fast is unlike that of a human. Able to reach 22 MPH, the fastest chihuahua was recorded at 15 MPH compared to a human who caps at an average of 10 MPH. So when an owner’s chihuahua escaped them in the middle of the interstate, the owner had a long chase ahead of them, as the dog took off for quite some time. Running in and out of different lanes on a one-way, passerbyes stopped their own vehicles to get out and attempt to capture the pup. However, the dog seemed to run faster and faster the longer they were on the road. This then caused an elongated traffic jam. Luckily, after people risked their own lives for the life of the chihuahua, it was picked up, rescued, and likely reunited with its owner. Those who saw a TikTok video of the chihuahua running on the interstate compared the dog to a scene from GTA. Some people were even impressed by the community of people who helped, saying, “I’m impressed that enough people worked together to get it home safely.” Another owner of a chihuahua also added a bit about the personality of the specific dog breed, saying, “As someone with a chihuahua, they have insane energy and are extremely fast.” To read another story about a dog who was found in an airport after three weeks missing, check out our page here.

Chick-Fil-A manager calls police on customers asking for more sauce – Dexerto
Chick-Fil-A manager calls police on customers asking for more sauce TikTok: adelelareseeA couple is going viral on TikTok after claiming that a Chick-Fil-A manager called law enforcement on them when they asked for more sauce. The customer service side of TikTok continues to expand with wild stories from customers exposing popular businesses with stories explaining their own bad experiences. Another saga has just been added to the social platform’s annals of customer service woes after a young couple recorded a manager at their local Chick-Fil-A purportedly calling the cops on them. A video recording of the encounter shows the alleged manager presumably speaking to law enforcement on the phone, saying the TikTokers were “causing a large scene and won’t leave.” However, according to the couple, they didn’t behave badly at all. Instead, the TikTokers say they were merely asking for more sauce packets for their large order. “We had a full order,” they said in a follow-up video explaining what happened before their recording. “We had two spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches, two macaroni and cheeses, we had a waffle fry, she had a salad, we had a thirty-piece nugget. A lot of food.” “He told us we would only get five sauces for the 30-count nuggets and that would be all,” they continued. “That’s the policy. That’s when we proceeded to ask for more sauce and he let us know that he was going to be enforcing this policy… with us, and we could not have any more sauce.” The TikTokers then claimed that the manager “put his hand in my food and grabbed it, and told me I’m gonna get a refund.” After that, the TikTokers say the manager proceeded to call the police on them, which they recorded in their video. The couple also claimed they had been “trespassed” and banned from the location. Chick-Fil-A manager apologizes after calling cops on TikTokers asking for more sauce However, the duo has since published another video, where they claim the manager apologized to them and said they are not banned from the establishment. According to the couple, the manager offered them a refund on their order that prompted his call to police, on top of a free meal with their children. On top of that, the manager had also allegedly received special coaching, but the TikTokers aren’t “confident [he] won’t treat somebody like that” moving forward. This is just the latest fast food debacle to take over TikTok after a Domino’s pizza delivery driver went viral after demanding a tip from a customer.

Chick-fil-A release fan-favorite recipe from 77 years ago: Lemon Meringue Pie – Dexerto
Chick-fil-A release fan-favorite recipe from 77 years ago: Lemon Meringue Pie Chick-fil-AFans of Chick-fil-A can now recreate one of their favorite forgotten menu items, as the brand releases the recipe, for the iconic Lemon Meringue Pie. As with any fast food chain, customers are often left to lament the removal of their favorite items. We’ve seen this countless times with other brands, like the Chicken Tenders released by McDonald’s, or the 7-Layer Burrito by Taco Bell. Fans might have even forgotten about some of the biggest classics, like Pizza Hut’s Triple Decker Pizza. However, no discontinued food item has been such a huge part of public consciousness since Chick-fil-A’s Lemon Meringue Pie. This pie was a part of the original Chick-fil-A menu when it was first released in 1946, made completely from scratch. As the brand’s website states, “It was originally prepared by Cathy himself and only two pie makers have followed in his footsteps in the restaurant’s 70-year history”. It wasn’t until 2012, however, that this item was firmly removed from the menu. This sparked huge public demand for the pie, leading to the creation of a Facebook group aptly named ‘Bring Back the Lemon Meringue Pie to Chick-fil-A’. Here fans deliver updates regarding the item, or simply reminisce about their favorite dessert. How to grab a slice of Chick-fil-A’s Lemon Meringue Pie Since its discontinuation, some people might be surprised to discover that there is, in fact, one establishment that still serves the Lemon Meringue Pie. This location is The Dwarf House in Atlanta. This was the first restaurant established by Cathy, where he sold his very first chicken sandwich. If fans aren’t in the area, however, the brand have decided to release their age-old recipe online. It shows how to make the famous graham cracker pie crust, as well as the lemon filling, and the meringue topping. You can check the recipe for the Lemon Meringue Pie here on their website.

Chick-Fil-A customer baffled that the store hires a 13-year-old employee – Dexerto
Chick-Fil-A customer baffled that the store hires a 13-year-old employee TikTok: @slim_tuniA TikToker was puzzled when he discovered that his local Chick-Fil-A employs a 13-year-old kid, as he assumed that was not “allowed.” In a viral TikTok video with over 1,3 million views, @slim_tuni recorded his conversation with a kid in a Chick-Fil-A uniform. The young boy looks like an employee but he clearly looks too young to be working in the fast food industry, or any industry at all. “You work here,” asked Slimtuni in his video. When the kid confirms that he does the owner of the account follows up with: “How old are you?” When the employee reveals he’s indeed 13 years old Slimtuni is completely baffled and asks “Is that even allowed?” But it surprisingly seems to indeed be completely legal and “allowed,” as the parents of the kid own the restaurant, which legally allows him to be an employee in it, or to simply help out. TikTok reacts to a 13-year-old employee TikTok users in the comments were equally baffled about the employment situation of this 13-year-old boy. “That’s crazy. Lil man gonna be a manager at 16,” one user wrote. “He looks so over it,” another commented. Some other users congratulated him and his parents for giving him a valuable lesson while letting him earn an allowance at the same time. “Good job he working young, I started working when I was 14,” shares one person. Followed up by another user saying: “He’s going to have BREAD in highschool.” According to the creator of the TikTok, the situation indeed happened in the USA, as some users were arguing that different countries have different ages for being allowed to work legally. Another reason is that his previous TikTok took place in Germany which contributed to the confusion.

Chick-fil-A employee’s unusual salsa hack has the internet salivating – Dexerto
Chick-fil-A employee’s unusual salsa hack has the internet salivating TikTok / lolwutalanA Chick-fil-A worker has revealed a strange hack they got from a customer that makes a unique sweet salsa for burritos. From Starbucks to McDonalds, ingenious ways to get the most out of everybody’s favorite fast-food restaurants have had a long history of being a hit on the internet. Furthermore, several of TikTok‘s most popular videos have continued to be about these hacks that show unique ways customers can get their food orders cheaper or simply just enhance them. Now, an employee who works at the famous fried chicken chain Chick-fil-A has shown exactly how they create a sweet salsa that has since taken the internet by storm. Chick-fil-A worker shows off viral salsa hack Employee and TikToker lolwutalan, who goes by the name of Alan, shared the video to his profile. It has gained over 6 million views and thousands of comments in just a few days. He started by sharing that a perk of working for fast-food restaurants is that you find out “customer’s concoctions and recipes.” “Some lady came through the drive-thru the other day and got a chicken burrito and she asked for Jalapeno salsa that comes with the burrito and a packet of Strawberry jam,” Alan went on to explain. When he asked what it was for, she revealed that she mixes the two savory and sweet sauces to create a sweet salsa. Although he stated he was reluctant to believe the unusual combination, the worker said once he tried it it was “delicious.” As he told the story, he created it for himself to show his viewers and ended up taking a large bite: “That’s so good,” he said as the internet reacted. “Genius way to eat,” a user praised the method, as another responded: “I can’t wait to try it.” Others just couldn’t believe how big the bite he took was: “Okay sir that was an inappropriately large bite I’m shook,” one commenter replied. Aside from Chick-fil-A, there is now a promotion that allows you to get free pizza from your local Dominoes.

Chessbrah sides with Hikaru on Andrea Botez’s “cringe” World Chess Championship joke – Dexerto
Chessbrah sides with Hikaru on Andrea Botez’s “cringe” World Chess Championship joke Twitch/chess/Instagram/amanhambleton/itsandreabotezChessbrah host Aman Hambleton has surprisingly sided with fellow Twitch streamer Hikaru Nakamura’s take that Andrea Botez was wrong to ask a joke question at the World Chess Championship. On November 30, the Botez sisters were in Dubai to attend the World Chess Championship between Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi when Andrea decided to ask a question at the press conference. Her question was an inside joke for Magnus, asking him “how does the Knight move,” which prompted a grin followed by semi-serious answer from the chess legend. However, it still caused some issues in the greater chess community. In particular, Hikaru slammed Botez, claiming that such joke questions “should not be happening” at the prestigious chess event. And as it turns out, he’s not the only one who feels that way. ♘ @itsandreabotez asks @MagnusCarlsen how the knight moves ⬇️ #CarlsenNepo pic.twitter.com/GV1Z7sPd6V — Chess.com (@chesscom) December 1, 2021 Chessbrah says Andra “alienated” Ian Nepomniachtchi During his own stream, Chessbrah watched the video of Andrea asking her question and didn’t take too kindly to her line of questioning. “Here’s the thing. Botez sisters, I like them and I like what they bring. But, it’s in the middle of the world championship and you shouldn’t make it all about you,” he said. “You should never, and this is a comedic rule, this is a serious event, you should never make an inside joke that only includes one of the players.” Hambleton noted that if both Nepomniachtchi and Carlsen were in on it, things would be different. “Anytime you alienate one of the players, it’s not funny. It’s immediately not funny and it just becomes cringe,” he added. “You shouldn’t exclude one of the players… that’s just bad comedy.” Chessbrah agrees with Hikaru After watching Hikaru’s take, the streamer sided with the GM, claiming he “fully agrees” with his opinion. “I think he’s right. F**k, I think he’s totally right,” Chessbrah said. “You got Andrea Botez asking Magnus Carlsen how the knight moves while Nepo’s there asking ‘literally who are you and why are you in my conference?’ Seriously, I agree with Hikaru.” Seeing Hambleton and Hikaru on the same page is certainly quite interesting. Add in the fact that opinions on Andrea’s joke have been mixed and it seems like the community is very divided. You could even say it’s a stalemate.

Chibidoki’s life is a sitcom, and we’re all watching it in disbelief – Dexerto
Chibidoki’s life is a sitcom, and we’re all watching it in disbelief Twitter: chibidokiChibidoki can be explained using many adjectives. The star indie VTuber and her unnerving stories are chaotic, hilarious, and mind-boggling. And now after winning Funniest VTuber at The VTuber Awards she has one goal: proving that she isn’t. There’s a chance that even if you never watch VTubers, you’ve seen Chibidoki’s giant forehead somewhere. Maybe it was a YouTube thumbnail, or a Twitter clip, or something on TikTok. Usually it involves the happy-go-lucky VTuber getting bullied by her chat in creative ways, or utterly failing at a game, or saying something incredibly cursed. There’s something intrinsic about her content that has a flair of virality. It’s the question of “Does this really happen to someone in real life?” Well, you can just ask her that directly. “I’ve never lied about a story in my life,” she laughed, reminiscing on all the times she’s affectionately purred Bowser’s name. Or told an incredibly embarrassing tale people would usually carry to their grave. “I never realized how funny my life was until I had someone to share stories with. Just the other day my sister found my YouTube channel and showed me the thumbnail of me as a naked buff guy and laughed at me for five minutes. My life is a sitcom!” Chibidoki has always wanted to live out her dreams of content creation. She has been uploading on YouTube for years. She still remembers the first comment she ever received on a Garry’s Mod video: “This is freaking cringe.” While she wanted to run away at that moment, she persevered to push forward. And seven years later, those dreams are a reality. Embracing the cringe The Chibidoki on stream is a very different beast from the one offline. She’s often found in “hibernation… a husk of a human.” But it wasn’t until she started streaming in 2020 that she found a second wind. The energy of bouncing around on screen behind her avatar awoke something in her. “You know how they say you have two inner wolves, I guess I have an anime wolf inside of me… that sounds bad but you know what I mean,” she explained. On a more serious note, Chibidoki was one of the frontrunners of VTubing’s rapid rise in 2021. While many tried and failed, she cracked the code somewhat. There was some element of luck involved, of course, but a look at her viewership chart shows just how quickly her fortunes changed from the one view YouTube videos she used to upload. “I was one of the people who was most consistent as a streamer,” she stated. “I have too much free time — I did online school at the time so finding time to stream was easy. “I’ve been streaming 5 days a week for two years, and I feel like consistency really helped me. And spam uploading TikToks. It’s so easy to get noticed if you upload a lot of garbage. As much as the consistency was good for her growth online, it also gave the chaotic VTuber a sense of stability offline. Locked inside with nothing to do except sleep for 12 plus hours a day, VTubing brought some routine. Having a stream at 4PM was no different to a 9-5 office job, but it got her motivated to “be awake when the sun is up.” Routines are easy to fall out of though, so there was an extra element that kept her going. That was the community in both its forms — the wider VTubing space accepting her for who she was, and also a more dedicated fanbase that supported her emotionally, creatively, and financially. “There will always be people who don’t like you and think what you do is cringe, but in the content creation world, there’s so many people who will like you for you. It was a part of me that I never had the capability to understand that it existed in the first place. I’m so weird apparently, I thought I was normal. My chat is like ‘that’s totally fine’ though. Over time it’s gotten worse since I’m trying to find where the boundaries of weirdness are. “If you don’t want to get out of bed in the morning and you’ve got a pet to take care of, you’ve got to get up regardless. Chat is kind of like my pet. I’ve gotta get out of bed and hang out with them. Also they pay my bills so that helps a bit too. “I enjoy it, but it’s nice to have an extra reason to do it as well. To take care of my family, to make sure my viewers are doing okay. It’s nice to have those reasons.” Surely Chibi isn’t that much of a ‘girl failure’… right? Chibidoki refuses to admit she’s a ‘girl failure’. Well, kind of — she knows the stars align, and that her life is full of more tragedies than a Greek play, but it’s still hard to stomach. The issue is everyone has some sort of cursed Chibidoki clip for reference. It could just be a clip of her being very wholesome on stream before an inopportune sound alert. Or a random story about her sister bullying her. Or an embarrassing fail from high school. But the funniest thing? It runs in the family. “My family is hilarious and now that I can afford to live at home and take care of them, I can be around them being dumb to me all the time,” she laughed. “I have so many embarrassing stories I’ve locked away for my entire life, but now that I stream for a living I’m like ‘ayo? This would make a banger TikTok! I’m going to empty all my dirty laundry on stream.’ “I feel like I’m streaming to my friends so if something happens, even if it’s embarrassing, I’m going to tell them in detail. Why wouldn’t I do that? Also, I feel the bar is so low with the things I’ve told them so they don’t even judge me anymore. “It’s like I’m a dancing monkey and [fans are] throwing dollar bills at me.” And given all the stories she tells on stream are verifiably true, that means her love of Bowser, that many associate her with, is based in reality. Although asking her about it gets her pretty flustered: “It’s so fake, don’t check my Twitter please! “Basically my first crush when I was six was on Bowser from Super Mario Sunshine. You’ve seen it, you get it right? He’s a good dad, he’s a scary monster… my lawyer has told me to stop talking so let’s move on!” On a more serious note though, there is plenty of instances where ‘bullying the streamer’ is taken too far. Content creators have highlighted how microaggressions can take a toll on self-esteem. And if you view clips in isolation, you could be mistaken for thinking Chibidoki’s fans are vicious — hilarious, but they know how to push buttons. Chibi says that couldn’t be further from the truth. “If you ever stop by my streams, they will poke fun at me but it’s a mutual thing. I feel like I punch them in the balls more than they hit me in the head. I incentivize them to be mean to me. It’s like having an older sibling. Just because we punch each other doesn’t mean there’s a bad relationship all the time. “If you don’t watch me live and see my real interactions with viewers, it’s easy to assume that because those are the clips that go viral — roasting me, throwing things at me. But most of the time we’re just friends hanging out. I’ve never felt any true negativity from them ever.” Thriving in the chaos It’s that chaos that got Chibidoki noticed, and recognized, at VTubing’s night of nights. The indie star took home Funniest VTuber at the inaugural VTuber Awards 2023, and was nominated for Most Chaotic VTuber too (won by Hololive’s Kobo Kanaeru). “I was a little annoyed when I got nominated,” she said. “I didn’t bring up submitting my name to my audience at all. I brought up the awards and said ‘you don’t have to submit my name or anything.’ It was one conversation on stream. “I’m really bad with competition and it gives me really bad anxiety. I get in my own head sometimes. I was a little embarrassed because I didn’t want people to see how unfunny I actually am! “When I won it was so weird. I have never won anything. I got a participation trophy for tee-ball in second grade, that was my peak up until the award show. I don’t think I’m that funny!” Despite shying away from the accolade, Chibi is happy she could finally bring joy to those with her content. But that doesn’t just mean her fans. It means her friends — she gets to brush shoulders with the YouTubers she once idolized like Ray Narvaez Jr. (previously of Achievement Hunter) and ChilledChaos. It also means her family, who she can now support full-time given her parents are retired and her sister is in college. “They’re the main reason I view VTubing as a job,” she continued. “I don’t spend much money on myself besides from internet and rent and food. It’s nice to know my money is going to a place that helps people because otherwise I’d save it forever.” With no signs of slowing down, Chibi is going to keep sharing her cursed moments online for as long as she has stories to tell — and there’s plenty more in the tank. Although she does have one goal for 2024: proving her supporters wrong about one particular fact. “I told my chat the other day ‘you know what my new year’s resolution is? I’m going to spend 365 days making you regret voting me as the funniest VTuber because I’m going to be unfunny every day and you’re going to ask Filian for a refund, if I came with a return receipt.’ “That’s my new year’s resolution and it’s going to be great.”

Chicago’s viral ‘rat hole’ inspires unity as couple weds at iconic location – Dexerto
Chicago’s viral ‘rat hole’ inspires unity as couple weds at iconic location TikTok: realrajmahal / TikTok: ceilingdogsChicago’s viral ‘rat hole’ has attracted crowds from far and wide, now even serving as a wedding venue for one iconic couple. When planning a visit to Chicago, there are many popular attractions on offer. Visitors may opt for classic tourist destinations such as Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, or, of course, the iconic ‘rat hole’. The Chicago rat hole, found on the sidewalk of West Roscoe Street in the Roscoe Village neighborhood, refers to an imprint of a rodent made when the sidewalk concrete was still wet. Going viral, the rat hole has since become an internet sensation with visitors leaving behind offerings such as coins, alcohol, and cheese. Now the rat hole is making headlines again, this time for hosting a very special occasion — a wedding. Raj, who goes by ‘realrajmahal‘ on TikTok, took to the social media platform to share the special occasion with fellow fans of the rat hole. Captioned “My dream wedding at the Rat Hole,” the video shows Raj and his now-husband dressed in suits and surrounded by an archway of balloons. The ceremony took place on the sidewalk, the rat hole bearing witness to all. “We are gathered here today to marry man and man in front of the honorable Chicago rat hole,” a celebrant announced shortly before the couple shared their first kiss as newlyweds. “At the end of the day it is just an imprint of a rat on the sidewalk, but I think there is so much more to it,” Raj told the Chicago Sun Times. “The rat hole is a legacy of Chicago.” The couple gave up their deposit at a separate wedding venue to switch locations to Chicago’s rat hole. Raj said, “It just felt right. I didn’t really care what other people thought about it.”
