GTA 6 will reportedly NOT be set in the 80s as leak claims A recent GTA 6 leak surfaced detailing lots of information about the yet to be announced title. One noteworthy figure in the gaming industry has come out and outright said it’s fake, though. Renowned news editor at Kotaku, Jason Schreier, while linking the GTA leak in question said: “A good rule of thumb is that if a video game leak is a giant list of incredible-sounding bullet points, it’s fake.” Now, that’s a pretty damning assessment. The leak revealed supposed details including: Codename: PROJECT AMERICAS – Set in Vice City and a new fictional city based on Rio de Janeiro – Only one playable protagonist – male, not female – Set in the 1970s/80s – Storyline and character details – Weather being a heavy focus – Buildings and cars change through eras – suggesting the map may change based on the era – Next gen only – Another Rockstar title (Bully 2) to come out before GTA 6 – A good rule of thumb is that if a video game leak is a giant list of incredible-sounding bullet points, it’s fake https://t.co/lWHFRv9xZk pic.twitter.com/o9SZWcQPuJ — Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) July 2, 2019 Is it or isn’t it fake? Whether the leak is incorrect remains to be seen but Schreier is absolutely correct when he calls the leak a giant list of incredible sounding bullet points. If the leak is true it has revealed the bulk of what GTA 6 will encapsulate. The leaker himself, “JackOLantern1982” responded to Schreier’s claims that the leak was fake, simply replying: “Yeah, no it isn’t.” Other comments suggested a supposed Linkedin profile was faked by JackOlantern1982. What’s extra interesting though, is that Schreier seems absolutely certain the leak is fake. The leaker claimed: “I have two friends who are very reliable and have worked for places such as Kotaku and PC Gamer.” This could be the reason Schreier is so sure the leak is fake but it would be possible for someone working at Kotaku to know something and not have shared it. His certainty almost makes it seem like he knows something about the game already, possibly through an inside source, therefore knowing that this particular leak is fake. Exciting time for Grand Theft Auto If this is the case it would add credence to another, earlier, GTA leak as Schreier didn’t denounce that one. That leak stated the game would be based across America with infamous GTA locations making up the cities. If true this could only result in Grand Theft Auto 6 being incredibly ground-breaking. There have been a lot of GTA leaks making the rounds in 2019 so it’s getting hard to keep track of what seems legitimate and what doesn’t. What we can be sure on though is that Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming and an announcement is a when not an if.

GTA 6 ‘leak’ claims to reveal new image of Vice City – Dexerto
GTA 6 ‘leak’ claims to reveal new image of Vice City Rockstar GamesAn alleged leaked image of GTA 6 has surfaced and started doing the rounds on social media, but is it as real as some fans might claim? Let’s check it out. For quite some time now, Grand Theft Auto fans have been hoping for an announcement about GTA VI from Rockstar Games. However, the developers have remained ultra-silent on the game, leaving fans to dig for information elsewhere. As a result, there has been some good information – like having the first character apparently revealed by an actor’s resume. Yet, there’s also been plenty of bad details and claims too – especially when it was claimed that the game would be revealed at the end of March 2020. Yet, an apparent new leak has reared its head and fans are pretty split in their belief of it. The image that has been doing the rounds shows, what is supposed to be, a Miami-like skyline with plenty of palm trees in the foreground and a pink tint to the sky – showing as if the sun is just rising or it is the early morning. There is even a Rockstar logo in the bottom right-hand corner to really sell it. Though, as the photo was posted to the GTA6 subreddit, many fans immediately claimed that what they were seeing was fake and not related to GTA VI in any way shape or form. The original poster of the thread, swiftmachine79, even noted that there had been claims that the image stemmed from a mod of some kind for GTA V – which could be the basis for another elaborate prank about GTA 6. Despite the critiques and skepticism, the image does very much resemble Miami, so it could easily tie into the claims that GTA VI will take fans back to Vice City. However, until Rockstar finally announces that the game is in development and gives fans clues about where they are headed in GTA 6, everything is up in the air. We’ll just have to wait and see what they do.

GTA 6 leak drops another major hint at return to Vice City – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak drops another major hint at return to Vice City Rockstar Games[jwplayer EAAB9usT]The latest Grand Theft Auto leak claims that Rockstar’s long-awaited sixth mainline release is currently locking down new Synthwave music for a Vice City-esque “Radio Station.” It’s been seven years since GTA V was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Rockstar’s last entry in the franchise has since become the third best-selling video game of all time. It’s no surprise that avid fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating the next-gen follow up. While information has been scarce, plenty of leaks and rumors over the years have kept the community on edge. On August 3, GTA Online players spotted six new teasers with ‘2021’ plastered across the map. With an official reveal potentially not far off, yet another leak has hinted at how far along development might be. A release date isn’t set in stone just yet. In fact, rough release windows have even been shut down by Rockstar in the past. However, a since-deleted tweet on August 5 claims that GTA VI might actually be closer than we think. ‘Vector Hold’ is described as an “80’s Electro Synth project,” on Twitter. Led by musician Peter Bryan Rice, this account claims a wide array of Synthwave artists have been approached by Rockstar. “Music rights clearing people have been hitting up Synthwave artists for a Radio Station,” a deleted August 5 tweet said. Rockstar has allegedly been looking to secure an array of 80’s music, potentially hinting at the setting of GTA VI. Plenty of GTA games have featured dedicated electronic music stations. Others have included throwback channels for classic hits as well. So the reported selection would come of no surprise when flicking through stations in GTA VI. While plenty of speculation has focused on the location of the next game, nothing has been made official just yet. That didn’t stop the Vector Hold account from throwing in its two cents, however. “GTA VI will most likely take place in Vice City,” they added. Since the post has been deleted, it’s wise to take this information with a grain of salt. Rockstar could be reaching out for a completely unrelated project after all. The developers have been tight-lipped for many years now, though GTA V is set to carry its momentum through to the next generation of consoles. The community can only hope that the sequel is close behind.

GTA 6 leak claims Joe Rogan will play a big role but fans aren’t buying it – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims Joe Rogan will play a big role but fans aren’t buying it UFC/Rockstar GamesIt has been claimed that GTA 6 will feature Joe Rogan and the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast in a big way, but some Grand Theft Auto fans are pretty skeptical. Seeing as September 17, 2023 marks the 10-year anniversary since the release of GTA 5, Grand Theft Auto fans from around the globe have been getting excited about the possibility of finally hearing something about GTA 6. It has been claimed by reliable source that, before the year is out, Rockstar Games and Take-Two will finally unveil the title that the gaming world has been waiting for. Though, as it stands, the only thing we’ve got to go on is the dump of early development videos that were leaked a year ago. In those clips, we saw a brief glimpse at the new locations around Vice City, the two protagonists, and some new mechanics. Though, there wasn’t much else to go. GTA 6 leaks claims Joe Rogan will be involved With this being GTA, there will be some incorporation of the real world – mainly through parodies – but it has also been claimed that Joe Rogan will play a part in things. That’s according to Audioviser, who reported that a “trusted source close to Rockstar Games” has informed them that episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast will take over the airwaves in GTA 6. The report claims that, while details remain slightly “murky,” players will likely be able to go to a Rogan-themed radio station to hear parts of his podcast in-game. Though, it’d likely be episodes and snippets that fit in the GTA universe rather than acting like a Spotify feed. Plenty of players are skeptical, though, with many noting that somebody like Rogan would more likely be parodied in GTA than used as a real person. “I see them making fun of him, maybe making a character that’s inspired by him,” said one. “That would break the immersion a bit too much,” added another. “This has to be satire, although I feel like the devs would make a podcast that mimics the s*it that happens in Joe Rogan’s podcasts,” commented another. It’s not like GTA hasn’t had celebrity involvement in the past. Frank Ocean has his own Blonded radio in GTA 5, while Dr Dre has appeared in missions in GTA Online. And, of course, the original Vice City had Phil Collins performing a set. Until we see some actual details from Rockstar, players should take leaks with a heavy pinch of salt. There are plenty of fake claims out there as it is.

GTA 6 leak claims Niko Bellic and Michael De Santa returning for next game – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims Niko Bellic and Michael De Santa returning for next game Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto 6 leaker is claiming that stars from previous GTA games will be making a return for the sixth installment in Rockstar’s open-world series. Fans have been waiting for Rockstar to finally show off GTA 6 after confirming the game was “well underway” earlier this year. Despite Rockstar going dark, there have been a handful of leaks that have surfaced – including what could very well be the first-ever screenshot of the game hidden within GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. Now, a leaker who has gotten information correct before such as Dr Dre’s involvement in GTA Online is teasing the return of Niko Bellic from GTA 4 and Michael De Santa from GTA 5 in GTA 6. Leaker claims Niko Bellic is returning in GTA 6 According to Redditor ‘GTA_VI_Leak,’ who has a history of accurate posts, Niko Bellic will have a role to play in GTA 6. In a recent post, the leaker wrote, “Niko Bellic was never caught for his crimes. Stories of ‘The Serb’ are still told in Liberty City occasionally, plenty of news articles mention him, and there’s even a nostalgic documentary about him.” Of course, Niko was referenced off-hand during GTA 5, seemingly connecting both games, but now it appears that he will have a role in the sixth game, too. “The actions of GTA IV cause gigantic power shifts in the criminal underworld and the weakening of almost every faction over the course of the game paves the way for the Von Crastenburg family to grow so quickly,” the leaker added. Additionally, the insider claimed that Ned Luke, Michael De Santa’s actor, is working with Rockstar Games. This makes sense, considering there have been teases that the character will return in GTA Online, but the leaker says there is more to it. “Most likely it’s in the form of a GTAO DLC, but it’s also very possible he could be producing a movie in Vice City. It could be both. We’ll have to wait and see,” they wrote. As the year rolls on, hopefully we won’t have long to wait until GTA 6 is finally revealed and we can see Rockstar’s next project for ourselves. Whether Michael or Niko are in the trailer remain to be seen, but if the leaker’s information is accurate, GTA 6 could be a big treat for GTA 4 fans.

GTA 6 leak claims Grand Theft Auto VI returns to classic map locations, shares story details – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims Grand Theft Auto VI returns to classic map locations, shares story details Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans are getting excited after a leaker claims to have information regarding the map locations and even some story details for the upcoming sixth entry in the iconic series. Although it’s only a leak, and nothing official, the handful of details are enough to excite any GTA fan, but they must be taken with a helping of skepticism. The leak was shared on Pastebin, where a number of other ‘reliable’ details about the next Grand Theft Auto game have been posted, including one leaker who correctly predicted the specs of the PS5 – later confirmed by Sony. Update, May 1, 2019, 8:00AM EST: The post has since been removed from Pastebin, which could potentially add credence to it. Because the account which posted the leak was a ‘guest’, it means that Pastebin itself likely removed the post. The post was first made on April 21, but first reported on by Dexerto on April 30, after which it was promptly taken down. A user who shared the post on Reddit claims that Rockstar itself may have had the post removed: “The Paste on the above link has been taken down by Rockstar Games. It was from a guest account with an unlimited time stamp. So it can’t be taken down by the creator. Confirming it was real?” GTA 6 map information According to the post, the GTA 6 map will be made up of “multiple big cities which players can travel across”. This wouldn’t be the first time it’s been done in a GTA game of course, as San Andreas also featured three major cities: Los Santos (LA), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). The GTA San Andreas map featured three unique cities. For GTA 6 though, the leaker suggests there will be (at least) two cities, which will be based on the east coast USA instead, with Liberty City (NYC) and Vice City (Miami). Liberty City was the setting for both Grand Theft Auto III and IV, while Vice City was, of course, the setting for the game of the same name. Update, May 7, 2019, 07:30AM EST: A supposedly current Rockstar employee has collaborated this leak by strongly hinting that GTA 6 will feature Los Santos, Liberty City, Vice City and the state of San Andreas. This leak is given further validity as the site which posted the leak, Glassdoor, require two forms of authentication to prove you work for the company in question. Therefore, it looks likely that this leaker did, or does, work for Rockstar. Furthermore, Glassdoor manually approve every post which is why the leaker presumably used the acrostic format to share the information. GTA 6 story details The leaker gives some very basic, yet intriguing details on how the story is planned out currently, explaining that “[Y]ou will start as a small time guy in Liberty city doing odd chores and small-time thefts and eventually work your way to Vice city where you will join a famous gang.” The end goal is to become ‘the drug lord’, according to the leak. Clearly, this is a fairly skeletal story outline at the stage, and even if accurate, could change in the development process. Memory requirements will mean GTA 6 is next-gen only, according to leak. Next-gen consoles Finally, the post also claims that current-gen console hardware will be incapable of handling the scale of GTA 6, and so it will be released on next-gen only: “This game cant come [out] for PS4 because of memory restrictions.” Given the size of a map which would include all of these locations, this would make sense. Here is the post in full, which has since been deleted from Pastebin: “GTA 6 is going to feature multiple big cities which players can travel across. In the title which will make you a kind of a drug lord. You will start as a small time guy in Liberty City doing odd chores and small-time thefts and eventually work your way to Vice City where you will join a famous gang. You will be tasked to look after business in liberty city until you are brought back to Vice City and soon become the drug lord. Rockstar Games has an idea about when they want to release the game but the corporates want to analyze the sales of PS5 and the Xbox 2. This game cant come [out] for ps4 because of memory restrictions. We have 2 major cities along with a vast stretch of highways and Blaine County like countrysides in the middle of it all. There will also be some kind of timed era between the missions with flashbacks. A concept design of what the GTA 6 map could look like… Certain shops will sell different types of items in different eras. RDR2 type stranger dialogues will be implemented. There are big plans in online and with major content like newer towns. They are working closely with Microsoft and Sony on cloud gaming which will help them enable online to be a continuous process.” Updated May 7, 2019, 7:59AM EST.

GTA 6 leak claims game has male and female characters, multiple cities – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims game has male and female characters, multiple cities Rockstar GamesA new Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks claims that the game will be set in two cities, feature two main characters, and even stated when to expect an announcement for the game. GTA V released back in September 2013, and while Rockstar Games continue to update and evolve the title, it hasn’t stopped fans of the franchise from wondering when they may see the next installment, and what could happen in the game. Now, a user on the GTA6 subreddit claims to have information about the title, posting a thread that allegedly includes information on locations, protagonists, landmarks and more. According to Reddit user Temperaturerising45, GTA 6 will be set across two cities: Las Venturas which is based on Las Vegas, and San Fierro which is Rockstar’s version of San Francisco. The leaker claims that the map will be four times larger than the one featured in GTA V, and that landmarks such as Area 51 and Hoover Dam will be included. The leaker also states that greater emphasis will be placed on the interiors buildings and that while not every construction will be accessible, they believe that malls, police stations, fast food restaurants, and gas stations will all let players inside. As for who will be the main characters in the story, this potential source suggests that there will be just two protagonists this time, one male and one female, and that these characters should see even more random events going on around the world like funerals or families on holidays when the game finally releases. TemperatureRising45 also writes that there will be two different types of gun stores, with Ammunation returning and selling normal weapons, while players will have to visit “underground stores” to get their hands on some crazier items like Grenade Launchers. Heists and businesses will both return, while the game will have more mini-games, such as carnival games, gambling, white-water rafting, and bowling, which became a classic meme among GTA IV fans when side character Roman would continuously invite you to knock down some pins. If you’re hoping for an announcement in the near future, though, Temperaturerising45 has bad news, claiming that we won’t be seeing an official reveal until Fall 2020, which would point to 2021 as the earliest possible release date if their claims are accurate. The idea that the game would remain in the San Andreas county would be a move away from Rockstar’s previous methods, which has seen them go from places like London, to Vice City, then to Liberty City, never visiting the same region twice back-to-back. Of course, there’s no way to verify the validity of the post, and there have been a large number of supposed leakers revealing what they claim is the truth about GTA 6. With most analysts suggesting that we won’t see an announcement this year, we’ll likely have a wait on our hands to find out what really is going on. GTA 6 leak claims battle royale mode and big casino changes coming – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims battle royale mode and big casino changes coming Rockstar GamesA new GTA 6 leak claims that big changes are coming to the casino, and that there will even be a battle royale mode included for online play. Plenty of players are patiently awaiting any and all news about the next GTA game in the series. However, Rockstar has been expectedly tight-lipped on details about the upcoming title. On March 28 a massive supposed leak was posted to Reddit by a user claiming to have an inside scoop. There’s no way to verify what they posted, but it contained some very intersting possibilities for the casino, and online play. Big casino changes supposedly coming to GTA 6 If this leak from Reddit user GTA_VI_Leak is to be believed, the casino in GTA 6 will be more like a real-life gaming house than ever before. A ton of new games of chance are being added, as well as the ability to gamble online in single-player mode. Slot machines will be returning, as well as plenty of others. The full reported list of games coming to the casino in GTA 6 can be found below: Slot Machines – Blackjack – Three Card Poker – Texas Hold ‘Em Poker – Roulette – Video Poker – Baccarat – Craps – Dominos – GTA 6 getting battle royale mode? In addition to these new gambling options, the leak also claims that GTA Online will be getting its very own battle royale mode for the new game. “Online will contain a battle-royale-type mode where 100 players occupy an area of the map and a deadly hurricane slowly presses into a single point,” the leaker claims. “Players can find weapons in cars, buildings, etc. and fight until only one remains.” Again, it’s necessary to take these “leaks” with a big grain of salt, since it’s impossible to verify any of what’s being claimed. That being said though, this same user did predict the Dr. Dre event before it was officially announced. These leaks certainly are interesting, but we won’t know if they’re legit or not until we get closer to release.

GTA 6 leak claims female main character will actually happen – Dexerto
GTA 6 leak claims female main character will actually happen Rockstar GamesA new supposed leak for GTA 6 has backed up a long-standing rumor about multiple characters in the single-player mode. However, some fans are skeptical. As time has gone on, there has been a whole laundry list of claims surrounding GTA 6 – including where it’s going to be set, what the story is going to entail, and the biggest question of all, when is it going to be released. With the next-gen consoles flying off the shelves, fans have been hoping for some sort of hint from Rockstar Games, but, they haven’t been forthcoming. Instead, players have been falling back on apparent leaks and long-standing rumors. Rockstar insiders have confirmed that the game is in development, and we’ve even had a character known as The Mexican be revealed, but what about the main characters? Who will they be? Well, one of those long-standing rumors that has lingered for a while has been about GTA 6 incorporating Grand Theft Auto’s first female lead character. Whether she’d be the sister or a partner of another main character is anyone’s guess as we’ve heard both. Read More: When is GTA 5’s next-gen update? – Now, YouTuber LongSensation – Tom Henderson – who has revealed plenty of details about Call of Duty before has doubled down on those claims that a female main character will actually be happening. “For the first time ever in a GTA title, GTA 6 will have a playable female and male protagonist,” he tweeted on January 10. Though, his post did leave some fans asking questions. https://twitter.com/_TomHenderson_/status/1348317760506499072 Mostly, fans inquired about it being like Cyberpunk – where you can pick and choose your gender – or if it’d be like GTA V, where you change character throughout. Henderson didn’t offer any further information, and while he’s been reliable with leaks in the past, nothing has come close to being confirmed. So, it’s worth taking things with a pinch of salt for now. At least until Rockstar actually confirms they’re making GTA 6.

GTA 6 fans think they’ve found the actress playing the Latina protagonist – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans think they’ve found the actress playing the Latina protagonist Take-Two InteractiveGrand Theft Auto fans think they’ve figured out who will lend their vocal talents to the Latina character that will reportedly serve as the GTA 6 protagonist. A recent report from Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier claims the next mainline GTA entry will star two Bonnie and Clyde-inspired leads. A female character will constitute one of the leads, a first for the series should the report prove accurate. What’s more, Rockstar Games supposedly cast the female protagonist as a Latina. Of course, nearly every corner of the internet is abuzz with theories. And some fans believe they may have already found Grand Theft Auto 6’s leading lady. Has Rockstar already hired one of GTA 6’s protagonists? Reddit user RockstarGamesRD2 took to the GTA 6 subreddit to note that someone’s résumé was “leaked” several days ago. The résumé in question belongs to actress Alexandra Cristina Echavarri. According to the Redditor’s screengrab of Echavarri’s credits, she features in a Rockstar Games title as a “Principal Character.” The use of the word “principal” has led some to believe that Echavarri stars as a main character in an as yet unspecified project. Other Reddit users expressed skepticism in the thread, however, especially given recent events in the world of Grand Theft Auto. Notably, Nicholas7907 and Joao_Das_Couves posited that Echavarri may voice Lupe in GTA Online’s The Criminal Enterprises update. (Interestingly enough, some players speculate Carla Tassara – Judy in Cyberpunk 2077 – is the voice of Lupe.) As always, fan speculation should be taken with a grain of salt. That especially holds true in this case, given that concrete details about GTA 6 and its protagonist may not surface for quite some time. In addition to addressing GTA 6’s supposed lead characters, the Bloomberg report also claimed the title won’t launch for another two years or so.

GTA 6 Jason and Lucia actors finally revealed according to insider – Dexerto
GTA 6 Jason and Lucia actors finally revealed according to insider Rockstar GamesThe actors behind GTA 6 protagonists Jason and Lucia appear to have been finally been revealed after over a year of speculation. GTA 6 fans have been frantically trying to discover the identities of the game’s main protagonists ever since in-development footage leaked back in September 2022. From searching IMDB for possible clues to looking at who Rockstar staff are following on social media, fans have been persistent in their hunt for GTA 6 info before the title goes live. Now, we may finally know the truth about Jason and Lucia’s actors according to a new report from YouTuber LegacyKillaHD. The report states that a reliable source close to the YouTuber revealed to them that the previously-rumored Manni L. Perez would be playing Lucia, while Dylan Rourke would be Jason. (Segment begins at 20:03) Manni L Perez had been suspected of playing Lucia ever since fans noted her similarities with the character, such as sounding and looking like her. Perez’s stint as an actor includes appearing in episodes of Law & Order SVU, Jessica Jones and GTA Online. Dylan Rourke, meanwhile, appeared in Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family. Neither actor is extremely well-known, which fits Rockstar’s history of bringing on unknown stars for their projects. So far, Rourke has yet to respond to the report, but Perez has denied her involvement in GTA VI in the past simply saying “no” when asked if she was in the game. Fans are still waiting for Rockstar to unveil more info about GTA 6 ever since the game was officially revealed with a record-breaking trailer in December 2023.

GTA 6 is Rockstar’s only next-gen release according to insider – Dexerto
GTA 6 is Rockstar’s only next-gen release according to insider Rockstar GamesA Rockstar Games analyst believes GTA 6 will be the only new game that the developers release on this generation of consoles, but there’s no telling when it’ll come. For a few years now, Grand Theft Auto fans have been hopeful that Rockstar would finally announce and release the long-awaited follow-up game to GTA 5. However, the wait for GTA 6 goes on. The iconic game developers have yet to even acknowledge if GTA 6 is in development, and fans have been left asking supposed leakers and insiders for information about what’s going on. Some reliable sources believe that 2022 will finally be the year that GTA 6 is announced, even if the release is still a bit further away. On top of that, it might be the only new next-gen title that Rockstar releases. It comes from gaming analyst AccNgt, who previously shed some light on the development of GTA 6, noting that fans should be “really worried” if the game is announced in early 2022. Well, during their January 7 Q&A on Twitter, AccNgt again offered some insight into how Rockstar are operating, fielding a question about just how many games they’ll be dropping for this current crop of new consoles. “If we are talking about new games, then I think only GTA 6 will be released,” they said. Though, there is no insight into when we might hear about the game or when exactly when we can expect to finally play it. https://twitter.com/AccNgt/status/1479472125748596746?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1479472125748596746twgrtwcons1_&ref_url=httpsd-9904917353097098885.ampproject.net2111242025001frame.html What it is, really, is bad news for anyone hoping to be able to play Bully 2 or even hoping for a fresh new franchise from the iconic game devs. There have been rumors that Rockstar has started development on a follow-up to the 2006 release, but ultimately scrapped it on a few occasions – even potentially taking planned features and using them elsewhere. We’ll have to wait and see what happens as 2022 progresses, but GTA fans are desperate for GTA 6.

GTA 6 item secretly added to GTA Online already – Dexerto
GTA 6 item secretly added to GTA Online already Rockstar GamesEagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto Online players have discovered a little preview of GTA 6 hidden away in a recent update. GTA Online has just been treated to the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. While it has been criticized for being “boring”, that has only convinced players that Rockstar is busy working on GTA 6. The devs behind the game are no stranger to adding an Easter egg here and there in GTA Online, with a recent one convincing fans that Michael may make a return. Now, a recent inclusion from the new update appears to have given players a small sampling of GTA 6. Initially spotted by Reddit user DogWifDreads, one of the new cosmetics added in Bottom Dollar Bounties is straight out of the GTA 6 trailer. Players will have seen it on the new protagonist Lucia while she parties in Vice City. The item in question is the Silver Layered Necklace, which is one of the many new cosmetics that showed up in GTA Online’s Bottom Dollar Bounties update. The item is indistinguishable from the one Lucia wears in the GTA 6 trailer. While it’s not as flashy as other new additions in the update such as the suite of new weapons and vehicles, the prospect of some early GTA 6 items in GTA Online has still excited players. “I like that they’re giving us a tiny taste of it,” one user admitted. “Made me wonder what other articles of clothing they added in the DLC that’ll be in GTA 6,” another replied. It seems that was on the mind of many prospective GTA 6 players as users in the comments speculated about what else may already be in GTA Online. “I think a lot of the clothing/vehicles they’ve been adding to GTAO are being imported over from GTA 6,” one player theorized. “A lot of the new cars seem a lot more ‘polished’.” Others pointed out that certain tattoos introduced in earlier updates also appeared in GTA 6 promotional material. “The three smiley faces that become more warped/wavy from the Fooligan DLC are on the guy who’s hanging out of the door of the green truck in the GTA 6 trailer,” a user explained. With all these GTA 6 assets popping up in GTA Online, the hype for its 2025 release is building. What else will we see in Grand Theft Auto’s current iteration before we finally travel back to Vice City?

GTA 6 is finally adding a new US city according to insider – Dexerto
GTA 6 is finally adding a new US city according to insider gta5-mods/Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto 6 could finally introduce a brand new US city to the mix, according to a well-known leaker. Not much is officially known about the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise aside from the fact Rockstar confirmed development is “well underway” earlier in 2022. While plenty of rumors and even possible teasers have pointed to a return to Vice City, a leaker is claiming that there will be plenty of cities for players to experience in the next game. As always, take these claims with a grain of salt, but if these leaks are correct, GTA 6 could be giving players a lot more areas to explore than anyone imagined. 🇧🇷 — mvbr★ (@Mvbrr) April 2, 2022 GTA 6 might introduce Chicago GTA’s world features multiple takes on known US cities. Liberty City is a stand-in for New York, Vice City is Rockstar’s version of Miami and San Andreas is all of California with Los Santos being LA. Now, it seems like Chicago is going to be added to the mix. According to insider Matheusbr9895, he’s “80% confident” that GTA 6 will see some new locations. “The Rockstar Games team really liked the result that Brazil brought to Max Payne 3,” he wrote. “After that, the team planned that the prologue of the next GTA would possibly take place in Brazil, In 2003 – with the murder of the protagonists’ parents, killed by rival cartels.” Aside from this piece of story information, he also claimed that GTA 6 will introduce Carcer City as a new location alongside Cuba and the long-awaited return to Vice City. Carcer City has been featured in Rockstar titles before. Notably, it’s the setting for Manhunt and serves as a combination of Detroit, New Jersey, St Louis and Chicago. It’s also been referenced in multiple GTA games, although players could never visit the location themselves. This isn’t the first time leaks have claimed Carcer City and South American countries will be in GTA 6 either. Onion00048 claimed that Vice City, Liberty City, Rio de Janeiro and Havana, would be present in addition to “a Chicago parody.” We’ll have to wait and see if these leaks end up being accurate, but it seems like GTA 6 is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of all time.

GTA 6 insiders conflicted over 2022 announcement rumors – Dexerto
GTA 6 insiders conflicted over 2022 announcement rumors Rockstar GamesCould 2022 finally be the year Rockstar Games announces GTA 6? While some reports have suggested this will be the case, alongside a 2023 release date, insiders seem conflicted on the possibility. GTA 6 is one of, if not the most, anticipated video games of all time, despite the fact that Rockstar has yet to announce the long-awaited sequel. Over the years there have been plenty of leaks, rumors, and even some mysterious discoveries in GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition pointing to the sixth installment in the franchise, but nothing concrete so far. Now, amid insider Tez2 suggesting that GTA 6 could finally be announced this year, another leaker, Tom Henderson, has weighed in on the rumors. I don’t know. It makes sense if the game has a 2024 release though – But I think they are conscious of the fact that their reputation is a little hindered at the moment, so I’m hoping they do things to rectify that beforehand (fix GTA Trilogy, add content to RDRO etc.) — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) January 7, 2022 Will GTA 6 release in 2023? In response to a question about Tez2 teasing a GTA 6 2022 reveal followed by a release in 2023, Henderson explained why this might not be the case. “It makes sense if the game has a 2024 release,” he explained. “I think they are conscious of the fact that their reputation is a little hindered at the moment, so I’m hoping they do things to rectify that beforehand.” Henderson went on to cite content issues with Red Dead Online and GTA Trilogy as reasons for the potential delay. Previously, Henderson had suggested GTA 6 could release in 2023 or 2024 but later changed his stance later last year to 2024 or 2025 because of numerous issues at the company. The 2025 release rumors had even been backed up by controversial gaming insider Jason Schreier back in July, so it seems like GTA 6 could either be further along than thought or in complete limbo. Until Rockstar Games confirms anything, however, take all of this info with a grain of salt and a pinch of pepper. The company still has a next-gen Expanded and Enhanced version of GTA 5 set to release this year, so it’s unlikely we see a GTA 6 announcement prior to the rerelease.

GTA 6 insider makes big graphics claim about new game engine – Dexerto
GTA 6 insider makes big graphics claim about new game engine Rockstar GamesA new GTA 6 rumor has surfaced promising that the next entry in the franchise will feature graphics unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Rockstar has been quite mum on details surrounding GTA 6, aside from formally announcing that development was “well underway” earlier in 2022. Since then, it’s been radio silence. Although Rockstar themselves haven’t had much to say, there have been a handful of leaks, including a recent report from Rockstar Mag’s Chris Klippel which spoke very highly of the upcoming game’s graphics engine. As always, take these reports with a grain of salt, but if true, GTA 6 could very well be one of, if not the most graphically impressive games of all time. On parle d’un moteur en avance sur son temps. pic.twitter.com/v2DVSS4lMJ — Chris’ Klippel (@Chris_Klippel) April 22, 2022 GTA 6 graphics could “outperform the Unreal Engine” According to Chris Klippel, the new engine for GTA 6, ‘RAGE9’ will be incredible and beyond anything that we’ve seen so far. “I was able to get very positive feedback, we really shouldn’t be disappointed on this point,” he said. “We are talking about an engine ahead of its time.” While Klippel said he didn’t see the engine in action with his own eyes, he had heard things from sources that sang its praises. Je ne veux pas trop m’avancer, car j’ai eu seulement des échos, et je n’ai pas pu le voir de mes yeux. Mais apparemment l’objectif est de surpasser l’Unreal Engine. Ils en sont capables, on verra s’ils y arrivent 🙂— Chris’ Klippel (@Chris_Klippel) April 22, 2022 “But apparently the goal is to outperform the Unreal Engine,” he revealed. “They are capable of it, we will see if they can do it.” Furthermore, Klippel claimed that the game should look “much nicer than RDR2,” but didn’t have any specific information. As Dexerto had previously reported, official Rockstar job listings hinted at GTA 6 featuring some incredible new weather systems and “large scale” destruction, so it seems like the new engine will be capable of a lot. We’ll have to see what the future holds once Rockstar finally reveals more information about the highly anticipated sixth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series.

GTA 6 insider says fans should be “really worried” amid development issues – Dexerto
GTA 6 insider says fans should be “really worried” amid development issues Rockstar GamesA Rockstar Games analyst has warned of “disappointment” with GTA 6, noting that development is apparently “chaotic” as the world awaits an announcement. Even though players have apparently found teasers in GTA games, and leakers have made a wide range of claims about it, GTA 6 remains the biggest mystery in gaming. Rockstar Games haven’t even confirmed if the follow to Grand Theft Auto V is in development, and their publishers, Take-Two, have continually remained tight-lipped. A handful of reports have claimed that the game is being worked on, but won’t be announced for quite some time. Now, another claim has been made about the apparent “chaotic” development and lengthy wait for news. The claims come from AccNGT – a games analyst who has been offering insights on Rockstar Games and even called the recently announced Star Wars game from Quantic Dream. “Some people don’t realize how chaotic the development is,” the insider said, offering some details about GTA 6. “I really think there will be disappointment for many people for some aspects (ofc not the graphics side.)” AccNGT also stated that if Rockstar finally announces GTA 6 before the year is out, or in early 2022, players may have reason to be “really worried” about things. Though, they didn’t state what exactly. https://twitter.com/AccNgt/status/1469703313847472132 Many Grand Theft Auto fans have, and will, point to the apparent rushed development of the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, which has been full of issues – both game-breaking and rather small. For others, the apparent disappointment may come from the story, which one former Rockstar founder believes will be less “edgy” than before. Of course, there’s no telling just how far along Rockstar is with GTA 6, and if they’re even close to announcing things. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

GTA 6 insider claims release date still years away despite leaks – Dexerto
GTA 6 insider claims release date still years away despite leaks Rockstar GamesA possible release window for GTA 6 has been revealed by a reliable gaming leaker, and it looks like it’s still years despite the recent leaks. On September 18, the gaming world and the internet as a whole was set alight when hackers managed to get their hands on testing footage of GTA 6 and shared it across social media. Over 90 videos and hundreds of screenshots of GTA 6’s development process were sent out into the wild, with Rockstar Games confirming that the leaks were, in fact, true but wouldn’t delay the game’s development. As it stands, there is no confirmed release date for the game, nor has Rockstar even publicly confirmed the name of GTA 6 – referring to it only as the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Though, despite all the excitement, GTA fans could still be in for a bit of a lengthy wait. GTA 6 release date apparently still years away That’s according to leaker Adrien Perea, who recently called things right in regards for Forspoken’s delay, as well as Skull and Bones’ release, and Cyberpunk 2077’s massive 1.6 update. On September 25, the seemingly reliable insider posted a brief tweet, saying: “Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release in 2025.” Adrien followed up by stating that the information was a “no brainer” and that he was simply confirming things. The post split a few fans, with many happy that Rockstar are still taking their time. “Personally think that’s a good decision, it’ll give them enough time to perfect it to their standards,” said one. “It makes sense,” added another. Of course, plenty GTA fans want to get their hands on the game sooner rather than later, and are still hopeful that Rockstar will at least confirm a few more things about GTA 6 before the year is out. It remains to be seen if they’ll do, given they’ll be dealing with the hacking situation for a little while longer yet.

GTA 6 insider claims Project Americas & female protagonist leaks are real – Dexerto
GTA 6 insider claims Project Americas & female protagonist leaks are real Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto insider is backing up a series of claims made about GTA 6, confirming that leaks regarding a female protagonist and Project Americas are happening. The Project Americas leak is one of the most prominent. At its core, the leak suggests that GTA 6 will see a return to Vice City with players being able to travel to South America by plane. There are other variations of the leak, such as players being able to travel from Vice City to Liberty City and San Andreas, but the constant theme is that Vice City would be the primary destination. Now, YouTuber LegacyKillaHD has appeared to back up the claims, writing on Twitter: “I can verify that someone in the know, a few years ago confirmed that & the entire Project Americas leak to me.” On a more serious note, the leaks the last few years of a female protagonist being featured are true. I can verify that someone in the know, a few years ago confirmed that & the entire Project Americas leak to me. Dont believe this is the first time I revealed this. #gta6 #leak https://t.co/yYaL1dfRGl — Michael (@LegacyKillaHD) January 12, 2021 When pressed about what version of the Project Americas leak they were referring to, LegacyKillaHD responded with a link to a 2018 video from Inside Gaming where an anonymous source revealed information about GTA 6. The original leak nor LegacyKillaHD delved deeper to reveal what time period the game would take place in, leaving fans speculating on if the series will return to present day or the past. Additionally, the YouTuber added that the “leaks the last few years of a female protagonist being featured are true.” This is in reference to a recent tweet made by fellow YouTuber Tom Henderson who wrote, “for the first time ever in a GTA title, GTA 6 will have a playable female and male protagonist.” It would make sense for the series to return to its multiple playable characters format as it was largely successful in GTA V, so the idea that the next GTA will have a female protagonist isn’t a foreign concept. Unfortunately, while Rockstar themselves have remained mum on the next installment in the series, with details only coming from leakers and insiders, bits and pieces of evidence have fallen through the cracks with the company themselves seemingly leaving breadcrumbs. Hopefully, more information about the anticipated title emerges this year as next-gen versions of GTA V are releasing in 2021.

GTA 6 in “early development” according to Rockstar employees – Dexerto
GTA 6 in “early development” according to Rockstar employees Rockstar GamesRockstar Games’ next game will be a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, and is still in early development, according to internal emails and employee interviews. Kotaku’s report has obtained and reviewed an internal email from top Rockstar executive Jennifer Kolbe, outlining the studio’s plan to mitigate crunch and long working hours which affected staff during the development of games such as Red Dead Redemption 2. Although Rockstar declined to comment on the story, interviews with 15 people who are either currently at Rockstar or left within the last year, revealed more about the development of their next game. Next GTA game in “early development” For fans of the series, the most crucial information from the report is that Rockstar is indeed working on the next Grand Theft Auto game as their next release. However, the game is apparently still in early development: “One plan that management has laid out for the next game, a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, is to start out with a moderately sized release (which, by Rockstar’s standards, would still be a large game) that is then expanded with regular updates over time, which may help mitigate stress and crunch.” The report continues: “But there’s a catch: Rockstar’s next big project is still early in development.” One major piece of news to come out of the Rockstar camp in 2020 was the departure of Dan Houser, one of the lead writers on the Grand Theft Auto series, as well as one of the founders. Rockstar employees told Kotaku that with Houser gone, there will be “fewer last-minute rewrites and overhauls” which were common for Red Dead Redemption 2. It sounds as though the studio is making a concerted effort to reduce many of the problems that plagued the development of RDR2 with their next game, with Kolbe’s email reading: “We have taken conscious steps to improve our approach to developing games in order to reduce the need for overtime.” Kolbe also said they “will continue to take steps so we can more accurately predict and schedule games and DLC in a way that is more sustainable but still allows us the creative flexibility to iterate on the incredibly ambitious and complex games we make.” This is the first time that we’ve heard any mention of a new Grand Theft Auto game from developers themselves, but of course, everything is still officially under wraps. We will likely know more in May, when Take-Two, the game’s publishers, give their next quarterly earnings call.

GTA 6 in-game feature leak that everyone missed resurfaces – Dexerto
GTA 6 in-game feature leak that everyone missed resurfaces Rockstar GamesSome corners of social media have been going wild for a GTA 6 leak that resurfaced to show off a new feature that is coming to the game and is a parody of WhatsApp. The gaming world has pretty much only got a few questions that collectively need answering – when will GTA 6 be announced, and when will it finally be released? It’s been a long and arduous wait over the last few years, but leaks have pointed players in the right direction. It is all but confirmed that we’ll be heading back to that iconic Grand Theft Auto setting of Vice City and playing out a Bonnie and Clyde-type story that revolves around two playable characters – one male and another female. All of this was revealed in the massive leaks from last September – which Rockstar and Take-Two have confirmed were a part of their early development. GTA 6 will have WhatsApp parody as new feature While the developers and their publishers had moved to have all those videos and images struck down, a number of them have popped back up at times. Some have been massively changed – including one about certain locations on the map – but the newest remains untouched. In one of the clips, where the male character is in a nightclub, there is a pop-up alert saying he’s received a new message on ‘WhatUp’. This is clearly a play on the popular messaging app WhatsApp, so we’ll continue to see parodies playing a part in the GTA 6 world. As noted, it’s a completely new thing as it did surface in September 2022, but it went unnoticed by plenty of fans. Now it’s resurfaced, a number of would-be leakers are trying to pass it off as their own information – but it’s not. It has been known.

GTA 6 hype skyrockets Rockstar Games’ YouTube with massive growth – Dexerto
GTA 6 hype skyrockets Rockstar Games’ YouTube with massive growth Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has gained over a million YouTube subscribers in the hours leading up and following the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer reveal. After years of hype and 10 years since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar Games has finally shared the first of many trailers for the next title in the series. The GTA 6 trailer reveal didn’t go off as planned, with Rockstar having to release it early after someone uploaded it to Twitter/X in its entirety. That didn’t ruin any of the hype, however, as Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel saw massive growth in subscribers with the trailer’s reveal. Rockstar YouTube channel gains over a million YouTube subs In the hours leading up to the trailer leak and official reveal, there were tens of thousands of eager fans waiting in the chat for the video premiere. Mixed with the thousands more viewers looking to stay up to date with the game trailer reveal, led to insane growth on their YouTube channel. According to Social Blade, Rockstar Games’ YouTube grew roughly 1.76M subscribers between December 4 and December 5, 2023, at the time of writing. That’s not the only bit of massive growth that Rockstar saw with the reveal either, with it gaining over 70 million views in less than 24 hours. This broke MrBeast’s former record of around 54 million views in the same time frame, which is far from a small feat in itself. It’s unknown when we’ll get the next bit of GTA 6 news from Rockstar, but it’s quite clear that fans are hungry for as much as possible. GTA 6 hacker sentenced to life in hospital prison as court says he’s still a threat – Dexerto
GTA 6 hacker sentenced to life in hospital prison as court says he’s still a threat Rockstar GamesThe 18-year-old Rockstar Games hacker who leaked GTA 6 has been sentenced to live in a hospital prison until he’s no longer a threat. In September of 2022, GTA VI was unveiled to the world after Arion Kurtaj, a British teen and member of ransomware group Lapsus$, was able to hack Rockstar. The teen then released numerous videos of GTA 6 gameplay, confirming a return to Vice City, female and male protagonists, and much more. Kurtaj warned Rockstar that he would leak the game’s source code unless he was contacted on Telegram, but he was arrested before any damage could be done. GTA 6 hacker sentenced to indefinite hospital order According to the BBC, the judge ruled that Kurtaj posed a high risk to the public due to his desire to return to crime and potentially even hack Rockstar again. During a hearing, Dr. Claudia Camden-Smith, a psychiatrist, warned that Kurtaj wanted to go back to committing his crimes after his release. The judge explained that due to this risk, he would be placed in a hospital prison until doctors determine he is no longer a threat. During the court proceedings, the jury learned that Kurtaj had already been arrested for hacking Nvidia and police had placed him in a Travelodge while out on bail after rival hackers doxxed him. Inside the Travelodge cops found an Amazon Firestick, keyboard, mouse, and smartphone, which allowed him to access the internet and defy his bail conditions. Luckily, Rockstar has claimed that the hack hasn’t slowed down the game’s development, and earlier this month revealed Grand Theft Auto 6’s first trailer along with a 2025 release. Rockstar is hardly the first game studio to be hacked. Just recently, Insomniac suffered a major breach where terabytes of data, including Wolverine gameplay, was leaked.

GTA 6 hopefuls think Snickers could be teasing Vice City return – Dexerto
GTA 6 hopefuls think Snickers could be teasing Vice City return Snickers/Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans think that they might have found another GTA 6 teaser hiding in an advert – but does Snickers really have anything to do with Rockstar Games? Even though Rockstar have not confirmed that GTA 6 is in the works, that hasn’t stopped loyal fans of the Grand Theft Auto series from searching high and low for any type of clues. There have been possible in-game hints, as well as supposed teases that have been staring fans in the face like the Super Bowl, and actors revealing that they’ve worked on the game – even noting their all-new character’s name. Yet, it appears as if fans might have spotted a teaser in another unlikely place. Yes, some GTA fans believe that Snickers is hinting at GTA VI – or at least using the hype for the new game in one of their ad campaigns. Their new image has appeared online and shows the classic Snickers bar being held up against a pink and blue background that is reminiscent of a Vice City loading screen. There is even the use of the iconic GTA font to say Snickers: Nuts City in the bottom left corner – which has only ramped up the speculation. With fans expecting GTA 6 to return to Vice City, or at least feature the Miami-inspired location in some way, these teases have got them guessing as to whether or not Rockstar is influencing the images in some way. To make sure that is wasn’t someone playing a trick like some jokesters did with a GTA 6 trailer, Redditor TRMTankEngine even got in touch with Snickers who confirmed that the advert is real and not a bamboozle. Though some fans might believe that it isn’t a coincidence that Snickers has become the newest company to use GTA Vice City themes in their advert, other Redditors pointed out that they’ve done similar for other games like Skyrim. Whether or not anything comes from this and GTA 6 is finally announced in the near future remains to be seen, but plenty of fans will be hoping it all links together.

GTA 6 game size and time period revealed by Rockstar Games insider – Dexerto
GTA 6 game size and time period revealed by Rockstar Games insider Even more information about GTA 6 has been revealed, including the game’s size compared to other titles and its time period. Following an initial report by Bloomberg revealing that GTA 6 would feature the series’ first female protagonist along with new missions and cities added post launch, reporter Jason Schreier shed new info on the game. Rockstar has been mum about GTA 6 for quite some time now. Despite the company revealing that the project has been “well underway” and resources have been pulled from other projects for it to “exceed expectations,” not much else has been officially stated. Now, after a bombshell report about GTA 6 and how Rockstar has made changes to be more politically correct (as theorized by one of the company’s founders) new information about the upcoming game has been revealed. GTA 6 to take place in modern times and might have flashbacks In a series of posts on Reddit discussing his GTA 6 report, Jason Schreier was asked about the game and what time period it would be set in. “As far as I know, the main game is set in modern times,” he wrote, but didn’t rule out the possibility that players could be jumping around a bit. “I can’t rule out any flashbacks or excursions.” Of course, GTA 5 began quite a few years before the start of the main story, so it’s possible that Rockstar does something similar with GTA 6 at some point. This also should put to rest any rumors of the game taking place during the 70sm 80s, 90s, or early 2000s as some have suggested. How big will GTA 6 be compared to other GTA games? Schreier also replied to fans curious about GTA 6’s size, especially given how Rockstar reportedly plans to grow the game over time. According to the reporter, while anything can still change between now and the release, the Rockstar employees he’s talked to say it will be huge, just like prior entries in the series. “The people I’ve talked to say it’s just as big as previous games. More depth than breadth, maybe,” he remarked. We’ll have to see what Rockstar has planned in the months ahead as they gear up to finally reveal GTA 6 after years of speculation and rumors.

GTA 6 full map potentially leaked with Vice City locations and activities – Dexerto
GTA 6 full map potentially leaked with Vice City locations and activities Rockstar GamesLeaked footage of GTA 6 has potentially surfaced online purporting to reveal the entire map of Vice City, menu locations, and more. Rockstar has been extremely mum on details regarding the highly-anticipated continuation to its Grand Theft Auto series, only providing little tidbits of hints since the release of GTA 5. Now, only two weeks after popular leaker Tom Henderson revealed the game would likely only be released in 2025, footage claiming to be from GTA 6 has made its way onto the internet, revealing the entire in-game map. Originally posted on GTA Forums, the since-deleted video was reuploaded to other websites where it’s been analyzed to death by members of the community. The video is strictly of a map menu screen, showcasing Vice City and numerous activities and shops available to the player with in-game markers as well as districts. Some of the activities available, if the leak is to be believed, include playing basketball, bowling (probably not with cousins), a fishing tournament, sea and street races, movie theatres, and strip clubs. As far as shops and services go, there are some that suggest there will be a great deal of character customization such as barber shops, gyms, and plastic surgeons. Even drug stores are available, indicating that in-game health could be a component in the game. Missions and more story-related elements were not shown in the leak, but locations such as downtown Vice City, Vice Gardens, Kraff Way and Quincy World. Interestingly, a 2018 leak that claimed to reveal the radio stations in GTA 6 listed “Fred Quincy’s’ World Resort Radio” as one players could tune into. As for the leak’s legitimacy, that is completely up for debate. Many fans have dismissed it completely. “All he did was draw a map that looks half-finished, import it into the GTA 5 HUD, and then film it,” one fan wrote on Reddit. Others, however, have some hope but noted the shaky camera isn’t a good sign. “I gotta say this does look kind of legit, but the overall HUD design seems old-fashioned and more out of the 2000’s rather than the 2020’s, it doesn’t really fit. And here again: shaky hand syndrome,” another remarked. In any case, Rockstar has yet to comment on the leak and it’s doubtful they will. GTA V Expanded and Enhanced is still releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles later this year, so it’s unlikely we get any GTA 6 news from them until the port is released. Hopefully, we get some major news before 2021 is done, but if some recent reports are correct, we could still be waiting a long time before we get our hands on GTA 6. We’ll have to wait and see.

GTA 6 fans worried leaked Vice City map will be ‘too big’ after GTA 5 comparison – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans worried leaked Vice City map will be ‘too big’ after GTA 5 comparison Rockstar GamesFans waiting for the release of GTA 6 were blown away by how large Vice City will be compared to Los Santos in GTA 5, but some are concerned the leaked map might be too big. Players finally got their first glimpse of GTA 6 after leaked gameplay made its way online following a major Rockstar Games hack. The leaks confirmed multiple rumors, including a return to Vice City, male and female protagonists, and more, but the footage also indicated the size of the new map. Using coordinates, players were able to get a rough idea about where certain areas in the leaked footage were located and the scale of Vice City itself. Needless to say, it’s very impressive – and potentially too daunting for some. GTA players concerned about GTA 6’s map after leak In a couple of posts on Twitter and Reddit, user ‘ChurchOfGTA’ lined up the coordinates of GTA 5 with the ones found in the leak to show the true size of Vice City. As you can see by the map, the actual city portion is absolutely massive and much larger than Los Santos. While some were thrilled at its size, others voiced concerns and are worried there will be too much empty space like much of GTA 5’s map. “Bigger isn’t always better, we’ve seen that plenty,” one commented. “Please have a good balance of countryside and city like in San Andreas. GTA 5 has way too many mountains with nothing, but empty space,” another said. “I like the same scale. Although I wish it was a little smaller,” another proclaimed. It should be noted that Rockstar has yet to unveil GTA 6 officially, so it’s possible that the size of the map could change significantly from what we know so far. In any case, we’ll have to wait and see if Vice City can balance out its size with activities to keep players entertained for years to come, because for many, size doesn’t matter.

GTA 6 fans want to break into Rockstar’s offices in GTA Online-style heist – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans want to break into Rockstar’s offices in GTA Online-style heist Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans fed up with Rockstar Games making them wait for GTA 6 have begun suggesting ways to get into the company’s offices and reveal the anticipated title themselves. Ever since the release of GTA 5, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next game in the series. Now, with GTA V’s re-release on PS5 delayed to March and GTA Trilogy Remastered still not official, some want to take matters into their own hands. In a post on the GTA 6 subreddit, users noticed a cherrypicker outside the offices at Rockstar North and began to speculate. (Yes, it’s sadly come to this) “Some new vinyl could be getting installed?” a user suggested, while uploading a photo of the cherrypicker. Shortly thereafter, fans began to get some wild ideas. Fans suggest “breaking into” Rockstar offices “We really out here stalking the offices with macro + polarised lenses to try and see what’s happening on their computers now?” a fan joked. “I’m surprised someone hasn’t sent one of those micro drones into their ventilation system to fly around in there on some Indiana Jones sh*t yet,” another remarked. These jokes actually ended up getting the ball rolling on some other concepts, dubbed the ‘The Rockstar Offices heist.’ GTA 6 fans want a meta GTA Online heist “Honestly, it would be interesting if the next heist in GTAO would circle around breaking into a tech company’s main HQ and stealing some kind of software, maybe even an unreleased game of some kind,” a player suggested. “The amount of potential meta content would be through the roof, maybe with a few convoluted teasers/trolls mixed in for thirsty fans to uncover. As fun as that would be though, I doubt it will ever happen.” A lot of players were in favor of this idea and provided their own twists on the suggestion for such a meta mission. “Well they already got the tech bro Lifeinvader offices with some single-player assets they can copy and paste into the mission so if they wanted to make an Auto Shop mini-heist along those lines it wouldn’t even be high effort,” a Redditor explained. “Some story about a thirsty fan wants to pay you to break into LifeInvader offices because sick of waiting for 8 years, he suspects without any basis that they are holding some never seen before Righteous Slaughter 8 for the Lifeinvader VR, neither of which isn’t even confirmed to even exist yet. Then it turns out that the baseless suspicions are true.” Whether or not Rockstar Games actually thinks this is a good idea remains to be seen, but such a meta heist could be a brilliant way to finally reveal GTA 6 to the world. Until then, however, fans are stuck speculating about a literal cherrypicker outside of the company’s offices.

GTA 6 fans want Bully feature copied to improve Wanted Level system – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans want Bully feature copied to improve Wanted Level system Rockstar GamesGTA 6 is quite possibly the most anticipated game in development right now, and fans have shared feedback on a Bully feature they’d love to be added to upgrade Grand Theft Auto 6’s Wanted Level system. It’s exciting times for GTA fans at the moment as the annual GTA Online Summer Update is looming large and the thought of new GTA 6 info dropping is an exciting prospect. Each day seems to spring new rumors regarding Rockstar’s newest sandbox title, some are interesting such as the prospect of Michael and Niko featuring in the game, and also negatives in GTA 6’s development being reportedly “turbulent.” Away from speculation, GTA 6 fans have their wishlist of features and opportunities they want in the game, and one Bully (Canis Canem Edit) gameplay aspect has been earmarked for a potential GTA 6 role. Bully Wanted Level feature to spice up GTA 6? Rockstar’s 2006 Bully shared many similarities to the GTA games that had preceded it, but it also came up with new ideas of its own that made sense, and loyal fans would like to see them used in the upcoming GTA 6. For instance, whenever you committed a crime in Bully, not only would the game’s version of a Wanted Level (Trouble Meter) increase, but your offense would be described, and a color indicator would suggest how severe the crime was. A GTA Reddit user has gone into detail on the idea and how GTA 6 could incorporate it: “What if in GTA 6, we’d see our Criminal Offence written under the wanted stars, with it going from pale yellow to hot pink depending on severity? It’d be cool if we only had police automatically come to our area if we did something major like Murder-Police Officer or Arson, you’d get 3 stars and hear over the police scanner to get there ASAP.” The user also described the potential repercussions of six stars and what it could mean: “6 stars would come after you’ve done multiple heinous, high profile crimes and the offense could be ‘Domestic Terrorism’.” Read More: GTA Online weekly update – One commenter explained how Red Dead Redemption 2 could have an influence on this: “In Red Dead 2 you already kind of had a witness system where people had to report you to a sheriff to actually become wanted so I’m hoping they expand on that.”

GTA 6 fans uncover Vice City serial killer storyline in leaked footage – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans uncover Vice City serial killer storyline in leaked footage Rockstar Games/ShowtimeA wild serial killer storyline seems to have been discovered by GTA 6 fans combing through the leaked gameplay footage. GTA 6 has still yet to be officially announced by Rockstar Games, yet we already know a great deal about the highly-anticipated title thanks to a series of leaks last year. In addition to confirming a return to Vice City, new weapons, locations, a female protagonist, and more, the clips have also revealed an assortment of world events. A series of events in particular is tied to a story called “Missing Tourists” and they seem to suggest that Vice City has a serial killer on the loose. Serial killer story discovered in GTA 6 leaks As documented on Reddit by user ‘ML-Fox,’ there are six known events connected to the Missing Tourists event, which provide some clues that it’s serial killer-themed. The first is called “Trophy room” which could mean that protagonists Lucia and Jason find items belonging to a serial killer’s victims. Following that, the other events in the Missing Tourists event are all related to victims. The events are listed as: “Submerged car victims,” “Junkyard victim,” “Cave victims,” “Trailer victim,” and one more which is unreadable. Rockstar has added serial killers to their open-world games before. GTA 5 had The Infinity Killer, while Red Dead Redemption 2 featured the American Dreams quest, so this definitely isn’t out of left field. With GTA 6 taking place in Vice City, and the location itself being a parody of Miami, it’s also possible that this killer is a parody of Showtime’s Dexter. The show starred Michael C Hall as a forensic technician for the police who was also a serial killer. We may not even have long to wait to solve this mystery for ourselves. Recent comments from Take-Two’s CEO have suggested that the next Grand Theft Auto will release as early as 2024 and rumors of a trailer coming soon have also begun popping up. Be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest GTA 6 news and updates.

GTA 6 fans want big revamp to franchise’s Wanted system – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans want big revamp to franchise’s Wanted system Rockstar GamesWith GTA 6 finally announced by Rockstar and the game under development, fans are clamoring for a big upgrade to one of the franchise’s most iconic features: the Wanted system. Grand Theft Auto’s playground of fun features a variety of activities for its players. Aside from main story and side missions, players can buy new clothes, partake in races, go bowling with their cousins, and much more. However, for many, nothing beats mowing down some random pedestrians and getting into a good old-fashioned police chase with players engaging in more mayhem to earn higher Wanted “star levels” – making escape all the more difficult. As Rockstar works on the next installment of GTA, players are pitching some of their own upgrades to the Wanted system for an enhanced form of realism not seen in other titles from the series. GTA 6 could be amazing with this new Wanted system mechanic In a post on the GTA 6 subreddit, user ‘rollingwaves’ suggested a new “core gameplay loop” that many agreed would be incredible for the upcoming game. “Besides the obvious improvements like better graphics and physics, there are changes that could be made which drastically change the experience of committing crime, and the dynamics of being chased,” they explained. “I’m picturing that committing serious crimes would begin a blood pumping sequence of events. The reactions to your crime would be visceral; people showing convincing fear, crowds backing away and scattering. Getting away would be difficult; once you have many stars, the police lock down the entire area like you’re the Boston Bomber,” they elaborated. The user further detailed that this new Wanted feature would let players break into houses, take hostages and create a more dynamic, realistic experience with major consequences for one’s actions. Redditors agreed with the idea, calling it “amazing.” Others felt that while the concept was good, they would like a difficulty setting and the ability to add a more arcadey-version of the mode in addition to a realistic one. It’s not yet clear what Rockstar has up their sleeves for GTA 6, but hopefully, we learn a lot more in the months ahead now that development has finally been confirmed.

GTA 6 fans uncover possible trailer date hint hidden in Rockstar’s announcement – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans uncover possible trailer date hint hidden in Rockstar’s announcement gamerficialThe long-awaited GTA 6 trailer is fast approaching and fans may have discovered a hint on Rockstar Games’ website ahead of its reveal. On November 8, Rockstar Games shocked the gaming world by confirming reports that the first trailer of the next Grand Theft Auto would be dropping in “early December” and fans have been eagerly awaiting further updates. Although Rockstar has gone radio silent, only updating their website in preparation for the trailer while GTA 5’s Michael and Franklin voice actors tease their return to the series, fans have been combing through any possible clues left behind. Interestingly, they may have found something when reading through the announcement in other languages, as Rockstar could have slipped in some wording about when the GTA VI trailer will actually debut. Eager GTA 6 fans spot possible trailer hint In a thread GTA Forums, users noted that the trailer announcement can be translated and interpreted differently depending on the language. MaxLogan, a GTA Forum member commented that in the Italian version of the message, “early December” is missing from the wording. “Instead there is a specific ‘primi giorni di Dicembre’ that [translates to] ‘first days of December’ that is in my opinion very different,” they wrote. “In Italy when we say ‘first days of December’ we are pointing out within December 3rd or maximum at December 5th, so imho we will see the trailer in the weekend or within Tuesday.” This little detail soon spread to Reddit where debate spread over whether this was something lost in translation or a greater clue as to when Rockstar will finally pull back the curtain. “What are the odds for the trailer showing up at The Game Awards? I can’t think of any repercussions when it does,” one user said, suggesting it could debut on December 7. “I’d say it’s just because there isn’t a direct translation for it,” another chimed in. “Lots of languages have that same problem with English translations and vice versa. But I would love it if it was on December 1st.” So far, Rockstar has let little slip about GTA VI, but gameplay leaks have confirmed the series will return to Vice City, include a female protagonist and more. Of course, take this all with a grain of salt, but if the translation plays a factor, the GTA 6 trailer could come even earlier than some expect. For more GTA news, keep it locked to Dexerto.

GTA 6 fans uncover issues in trailer that have been hidden for months – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans uncover issues in trailer that have been hidden for months Take-Two InteractiveGTA 6 fans have, after all this time, finally spotted a few issues in the first trailer. However, they aren’t massively worried about things. For the last few years, Rockstar Games have played their cards close to their chest regarding GTA 6. They wouldn’t even acknowledge the game’s existence for the longest time. They confirmed it was in the works once and then they went silent again until a massive set of leaks. Fast forward to the end of 2023, and the iconic game devs finally gave us a first look at Grand Theft Auto 6. The game’s first trailer introduced us, at last, to Lucia and Jason – the game’s two main characters – and the backdrop of Leonidas. Naturally, as Rockstar have gone silent again, players have been scouring the trailer over and over. They’ve been trying to pick out any hints or secrets they may have missed in the initial wave of hype. Well, they’ve found a few errors. Redditor iWillRe1gn highlighted one such issue as they found an NPC character t-posing in the shadows during the part of the trailer where a car is seen doing donuts. “The trailer is full of various errors,” another Redditor added before noting a long list of issues. “Light leaking through the road barrier in the scene where Lucia and Jason are driving in a convertible, glowing hair on girl in strip club scene, low-quality textures on the left side of the bridge in Miami Keys looking scene. “Even in this scene, if you look, you can see a store in the right corner, the interior of which, judging by everything, is made from a regular picture.” Others aren’t too worried about the finds and actually see them as good news. “This proves to the naysayers that the trailer is in-engine and not pre-rendered. Good find. Hopefully, this stops the idiots from saying these are prerendered,” one added. “This lends credibility to the footage being generated in-game rather than cinematic cutscenes,” another said. In terms of a second trailer, there have been claims that is coming before the end of 2024. Take-Two, Rockstar’s publishers, are still confident of a Fall 2025 release. So, things don’t look too bad.

GTA 6 fans think Rockstar just trolled them with cheeky tweet – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans think Rockstar just trolled them with cheeky tweet Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are convinced Rockstar Games is trolling them after mistaking a retweet from the company’s Twitter for an official teaser image. The hype surrounding GTA 6 is at an all-time high thanks to the massive leak which brought the game back to the forefront of everyone’s minds. Now, fans are looking for teasers and hints of an official GTA 6 reveal in any and all material from Rockstar Games. This was the case for another group of GTA 6 fans, who mistook a retweet from Rockstar’s Twitter account as a tease for the upcoming sequel at first glance. GTA 6 fans mistake Rockstar retweet for official teaser Reddit user timothybrooks7 made a post on the GTA 6 subreddit with the caption, “Opened my Mailbox to ‘Rockstar games tweeted’ and saw the sky and palm trees and my heart dropped… Then I saw #GTAV.” The tweet in question was actually a retweet from Rockstar, which came from Twitter user Ramuneoisiii who posted an in-game photo of the Comet S2 in front of a picturesque sunset. Unfortunately, Twitter’s mobile highlights feature cropped the retweet so that it only showed the sunset and palm trees, which indeed look like they could be part of a promotional teaser image. As a result, the original poster ended the post with, “I really feel like they’re just toying with us now.” Other fans are convinced these sorts of posts are intentional from Rockstar. Reddit user Kompletionist said, “It’s no accident, they know exactly what they’re doing.” “Definitely intentional from Rockstar I’d say, but it’s probably not like they told the guy to take that pic. But with the vice city colors, and 2x VI spelled out, seems like they’re toying with us…” said user LazyDawge. Whether it was intentional on the developer’s part or not, it seems that fans must still wait patiently for whenever Rockstar inevitably reveals GTA 6 to the public.

GTA 6 fans think they’ve spotted a second major city in the game’s trailer – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans think they’ve spotted a second major city in the game’s trailer Rockstar GamesWith the launch of the GTA 6 reveal trailer, a longstanding tradition of speculation has begun. Picking apart the trailer, some avid fans believe they’ve identified another major city in the game. Rockstar has answered the prayers of gamers everywhere with an early drop of the GTA 6 reveal trailer. However, it came off the back of a massive leak that robbed the game’s developers of a “deserved” experience. Despite being less than two minutes long, the GTA 6 trailer is jam-packed with information about the Miami-inspired Vice City, the new protagonist Lucia, and some possible gameplay details. Eagle-eyed fans have been pouring over the trailer and have already discovered things like a detail that will potentially limit travel in the early game. Now, diligent GTA 6 enthusiasts have discovered a seemingly minute detail from the trailer that could have some major implications. Reddit user u/FrankoticSloth pointed out that a city skyline in the trailer does not look like Miami at all. The implication is that a second major urban area that is not Vice City will be explorable in the game. Is there a second city in GTA 6? Upon closer inspection, there’s definitely something to u/FrankoticSloth’s suggestion. The skyline in their screenshot of the GTA 6 trailer is very different from the gleaming condominium towers of Vice City and other fans seem to agree. Theorists are already deep in thought about what the location could be and using real-world examples of geolocation, they’ve landed on a Rockstarified Tampa. “That’s a sunset (in the screenshot). The sun sets in the west. Miami is on the east,” one user said by way of explanation. “Tampa looks as big as Los Santos was in GTA V,” one fan who was more than ready to believe put forward. “And it’s not even the main city.” “That’s the prison as well on the right-hand side, right? Which is the next scene too. Meaning we likely start the game in Tampa,” another added. There were some detractors of the Tampa theory who noted that the real-world city’s location in Central Florida seemed to run contrary to other aspects of the GTA 6 trailer. “It’s clear from the trailer they are condensing all of South Florida from the Gulf Coast, the Everglades, the Atlantic Coast, and the Keys into one big location,” they explained. Whether or not GTA 6 will feature a second major city remains to be seen but it is clear from the trailer that Rockstar seems to have created some environmental diversity. At the very least, it appears the outskirts of Vice City will be explorable. For more concrete information, players will have to wait for news from Rockstar, or worse, until some time in 2025 when GTA 6 is scheduled to be released.

GTA 6 fans think Rockstar just dropped a huge trailer 2 clue – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans think Rockstar just dropped a huge trailer 2 clue Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans eager for Rockstar Games to share an update on trailer 2 may have just spotted a big clue hiding in plain sight. The first trailer for GTA VI took the internet by storm and broke records, becoming the most-watched non-music video on YouTube. In addition to leaked developmental footage, the trailer confirmed a return to Vice City, male and female protagonists, and a 2025 release window. Although the first trailer didn’t show any gameplay, fans are hoping they won’t have long to wait until the second trailer drops – and they may have discovered a hint on Rockstar’s website. GTA 6 fans may have spotted a trailer 2 clue In a post on Reddit, users noticed that Rockstar added the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer in their video section. “Could this probably mean Trailer 2 is close? There are also arrows on the right,” one eager fan pointed out. Players quickly began speculating on what this could mean, and if trailer 2 could be right around the corner. Many began suggesting that we’ll be seeing the next trailer as early as next month in May, while some think it could come before Take-Two Interactive’s next investor call. “Please a trailer 2 before the investor calls in May and at least some screenshots of the game too,” one pleaded. The news comes days after Rockstar updated the banner on its website with the GTA VI artwork front and center, leading many to believe that more news about the game could be coming soon. Of course, it’s also possible that these updates are mere coincidences, but trailer 2 has already sparked a ton of speculation. Singer Anita Ward even appeared to tease her involvement in the game when the VI logo appeared on her Spotify – something she has since said was added by mistake. With Rockstar employees returning to office work in April and the company gearing up for the planned 2025 launch, expect to hear a lot more about GTA 6 in the months ahead.

GTA 6 fans still have one big wish for single-player as they ‘hate’ GTA Online – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans still have one big wish for single-player as they ‘hate’ GTA Online Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans still have one big wish when it comes to the single-player side of the game as some of them still ‘hate’ GTA Online. With Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar broke a long-standing tradition for their games. It was the first time since GTA IV that didn’t have any sort of single-player add-on. GTA IV had the successful Ballad of Gay Tom and Lost and The Damned add-ons, while Red Dead Redemption had the incredible Undead Nightmare. With players hoping to get a second trailer and some in-game screenshots soon, they want Rockstar to focus on single-player. Specifically, they want further replayability in the story. “This game needs to greatly expand upon single-player replay value. I hope VI brings about a new sandbox era,” Redditor DirtyGertrude said. “And no I don’t mean a life simulator, and I don’t want to play online.” Other players quickly agreed too. “I have walked (not sprinting, just slow relaxed walking) from one town to another, multiple times in RDR2, Give me an immersive world like that, in a modern Miami setting, I would keep my mouth shut and keep playing for the next 5 years,” said one. “The state of current GTAO has really put me off & even if they do fix it initially I don’t think it will be long before it goes the same way (for the money),” another said. “GTA Online is the single worst thing Rockstar has ever done and it will continue to ruin their reputation and every game they create going forward, since now multiplayer is more important to them than single-player,” added another. “I hate GTA Online. And have played it a total of 1 hour,” commented another. GTA 5 was supposed to have a James Bond-esque single-player DLC for Trevor. Rockstar scrapped it and it became GTA Online’s Doomsday Heist. Hopefully, GTA 6 returns to the DLC way of doing things. Even if it does have the biggest map ever, fresh stories always help.

GTA 6 fans suggest perfect way for Rockstar to reference Vice City – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans suggest perfect way for Rockstar to reference Vice City Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans have found a perfect way for Rockstar to reference Vice City with the release of GTA 6. After over a decade of waiting, we’ve seen a glimpse of what’s in store for the next title in the Grand Theft Auto universe. The long-anticipated GTA 6 trailer was finally revealed to the world on December 4, albeit ahead of schedule as it was leaked online before its planned release. The trailer is jam-packed with easter eggs referencing real-life locations, memes, and nods to past GTA titles, all while showing off the fictional world of ‘Leonida’, a play on the state of Florida where we’ll see the return of the beloved Vice City. While there were a ton of references in the trailer to the original Grand Theft Auto: Vice City released in 2002, fans have spotted a perfect way for Rockstar to connect the dots even more. GTA 6 fans suggest name for game’s Collectors Edition Physical copies of games are slowly becoming a thing of the past, as more gamers opt for digital releases with their next-generation consoles. Nevertheless, players are eager to pick up a physical version of Grand Theft Auto 6 when it is released — all for the iconic guide booklet and map that’s expected to come with it. Many will also have their eyes locked on the game’s collectors edition, and they already have a perfect name for it. In a post on Twitter/X, one Grand Theft Auto fan suggested that the special, or ‘collectors edition’ should be called ‘GTA VI:CE’. VI of course being the number six in Roman numerals, where the ‘CE’ refers to ‘collectors edition’ — which together creates the word ‘VICE’. Other fans in the replies think the idea is brilliant, and should undoubtedly be taken on board by Rockstar. “If they don’t do this I’ll be disappointed,” said one. “That’s actually the best idea ever lol,” wrote another. With that said, there’s been no word on whether or not we’ll even see a collectors edition of Grand Theft Auto 6, as details on the release are still scarce. However, we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any news right here on Dexerto as we learn more.

GTA 6 fans spot subtle hint in Rockstar’s latest social media post – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans spot subtle hint in Rockstar’s latest social media post Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto (GTA) fans believe they have spotted yet another subtle hint from Rockstar Games about the highly anticipated GTA 6 in a recent social media post. Rockstar Games shared an image on social media to celebrate the Moon Festival in GTA Online, offering players a free in-game item. While the post appears to be merely about the festival, some sharp-eyed GTA fans quickly turned their attention to the background, where the iconic Vinewood sign was visible. The letters “V” and “I” in Vinewood are notably more prominent than the others, leading fans to speculate that this was a deliberate hint at GTA 6, as the “VI” represents 6 in Roman numerals. This isn’t the first time that fans have speculated about hidden messages in Rockstar’s posts. A 10th-anniversary post for GTA 5 also sparked discussions within the community as many believed that this, too, featured a hint at the upcoming GTA 6. The 10th-anniversary image featured a plane heading toward a sign that resembled “VI,” and fans were quick to point out that this could be another teaser for the upcoming game. The community was divided, with some seeing the post as a clear hint, while others viewed it as a mere coincidence or stretch. That’s not the case this time, however, as the majority of GTA fans seem to agree that this most recent social media post is an intentional hint or teaser for GTA 6. “One of the few times I think it’s intentional,” one fan wrote. “Ok, this actually looks like an intentional tease this time,” another wrote. Yet, some remain skeptical, pointing out that the image was cropped on Instagram and Facebook in a way that removes the “VI” from view. “The only thing that’s making me doubt this is that on Facebook and Instagram, the VI is cropped. If this was a little tease, there’s no reason to only put it on Twitter and ignore FB and Insta.,” one Redditor commented. Maybe it’s a tease or just another mere coincidence, but there’s no doubt that GTA fans are desperate for any kind of news relating to the highly anticipated game at this point.

GTA 6 fans spot secret that could limit travel early in-game – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans spot secret that could limit travel early in-game Rockstar GamesRockstar has finally revealed GTA 6 to the world and fans think they’ve found a secret detail that could potentially limit travel early on in the game. Here’s what they had to say. Fans from around the globe have waited for the moment for Rockstar to reveal GTA 6 and it’s finally here. The first trailer of the game is out and smashed MrBeast’s previous YouTube record, demonstrating just how much hype is surrounding the game. While one part of the community is furious over the 2025 release, a particular group of fans have spotted new details that could limit travel early on in the game. This detail involves Lucia, one of the new protagonists in GTA 6. Lucia’s ankle monitor left GTA 6 fans wondering about restricted map travel If you zoom into GTA 6’s official artwork, you can see Lucia wearing an ankle monitor, which means she won’t be able to exit a certain radius, thereby restricting map travel. Posting on X, some fans joined in and said, “That’s a good spot to the detail! Didn’t see that.” The user felt it’s similar to GTA 3 where map travel was restricted and continued further, “Bit like GTA 3 where you couldn’t go to other islands unless the bridges were cleared and fixed.” Another chimed in by saying, “Probably relates to her prison sentence.” In the trailer, Lucia met with a parole officer wearing a prison uniform and her ankle monitor “will most likely be how they get you to stay in the starter area”, said one fan. This didn’t stop players from theorizing the story, where one viewer said, “My theory is that parts of the map will be locked behind police stars like in GTA IV, if you cross a bridge beware of the entire Leonida State police chasing you.” The GTA 6 hype will keep rising with each passing day, and when Rockstar releases the future trailers, some theories may sound even crazier. Until then, take a look at all the Easter eggs revealed in the trailer along with the game’s location and timeline.

GTA 6 fans spot another huge clue that game announcement could be coming – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans spot another huge clue that game announcement could be coming Rockstar GamesCommunity members put on their tin foil hats again and highlighted a clue pointing to an imminent GTA 6 announcement. October 24 was a rough day for GTA fans. Some community members expected a GTA 6 reveal trailer but instead got a new Red Dead Redemption 2 outfit. That isn’t to say every player fell for the trap, as it’s well known that Tuesdays are always dedicated to RDR2 news, while GTA gets Thursday and Friday. And then, to rub more salt in the wound, reliable leaker Tez2 revealed that GTA 6 on PC is delayed. Originally, Tez2 was optimistic that the game would launch on all platforms at the same time. But now, the leaker just hopes the delay lasts for only a “few months.” Community members didn’t let the negative wave of news stop them from returning the next day and attempting to dig up more clues. This time around, fans turned their attention to Metacritc for any sign of hope. Critic review listing sparks hope from GTA 6 fans A Reddit user posted that an official Metacritic page for GTA 6 has been published, indicating an announcement soon. Tez2 isn’t quite ready to buy in just yet, claiming: “The email looks too similar to the RDR2 one. Looks like whoever made it just changed some words. If it’s a different attorney than the RDR2 one, the wording would be different, not just a copy and paste.” However, the leaker admitted: “It makes more sense that way, considering it’s a script. They aren’t negotiating. So the wording doesn’t have to differ much.” Whether the leak is true or not, Tez2 expects everything to be cleared up on October 27, which is the alleged reveal date. GTA 6 fans spot new transportation option in trailer that everyone missed – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans spot new transportation option in trailer that everyone missed Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans continue to spot new details hidden in the game’s first trailer even a month after it was released. The long-awaited first trailer for GTA 6 took the world by storm and broke records, becoming the most-watched non-music video on YouTube within 24 hours. Despite being viewed over nearly two hundred million times, GTA VI fans keep making new discoveries in the 90-second trailer by freezing on every frame possible. The latest find comes in the form of a sign in the background during the 27-second mark, indicating that a new form of transportation could be available for players. GTA 6 players might be able to take public busses Public transportation has been a feature in many GTA games, with players being able to take the subway and taxis – but in GTA 6, you might even be able to take the city bus. In posts on Reddit and GTAForums, users noted that a bus stop is clearly visible in the trailer with a group of people standing by it, possibly waiting to get on. “I noticed that the bus stop sign is a bit TOO detailed for something we can’t use. Big and visible with the words looking like they’d actually be legible,” a user explained. The poster went on to reference media reports about how prior GTA games such as IV were supposed to have a working bus network that players could use, but was scrapped in the final version of the game. Players seemed mixed on the idea of taking a bus in-game, with some saying, just like gas stations, it would be too realistic and turn GTA into a real-life simulation, while others welcomed the concept. “Bus system for fast travel would be cool, like trains in RDR2,” someone remarked. “That would honestly be really cool [and] a really nice detail. Maybe they can make it kind of like a taxi job, where you can also get in a bus and pick up people and drop them off in places,” said another. So far, Rockstar hasn’t confirmed whether or not GTA VI will feature a bus system, but with the game being the studio’s most ambitious project yet, it certainly isn’t out of the question. Expect to learn more information in the months ahead as GTA 6 approaches its 2025 release window next year.

GTA 6 fans split on ‘hated’ GTA 5 feature making a return – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans split on ‘hated’ GTA 5 feature making a return Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are split on the possibility of a ‘hated’ GTA 5 feature being used in the upcoming game, with some even wanting Rockstar to go back to the GTA 4 way of doing things. Even though Rockstar Games have shed a little bit of light on what they’ve got planned for GTA 6, the wait for the highly-anticipated title is still rather arduous. The Grand Theft Auto community has whipped itself up into a frenzy, searching back through the trailer for any minute detail that they may have missed on their first few watches. Some have even dropped wishlists for things, including some they don’t want to move over from GTA 5. On the latter side of that, some fans are split on the idea that the ‘explode on impact’ feature could make a return in the new game as they’d like a little bit more realism than just having an instant explosion. “I hate it even today,” one Redditor said, showing off a video of vehicles acting like lemming as they drive off part of the freeway. “Honestly I’d prefer it if a car landing on its nose like that had a small chance to explode, but a bigger chance for it to crumple/lose a lot of parts suddenly from the smashing of the weight,” one replied. “If I want to play a game where cars just explode on impact, I’d play Just Cause,” another added. “I want it to go back to GTA IV’s system where you go from smoke to black smoke and finally catching flames and exploding,” another said. Not every GTA fan is negative on the idea that the feature could return. “TBH, I enjoyed it,” one argued. “I still want it because it’s hilarious,” another agreed. “It’s fun, quit being a buzz kill.” It is one of those features that has been evolved between games. Everyone remembers the first time they rolled a car and were unable to get it back on its wheels before bursting into flames. So, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Rockstar make yet another big change.

GTA 6 fans split after spotting hint from supposed Rockstar dev – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans split after spotting hint from supposed Rockstar dev Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans believe they’ve found further evidence that a GTA 6 reveal is just around the corner after they spotted what looks like a new Rockstar logo from one of the supposed devs. The wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 has sent thousands of GTA fans absolutely wild, as they’ve been hunting high and low for any clue about a reveal or announcement video being in the works. We have, of course, seen some gameplay already from the infamous leak from September of last year. That was only alpha footage and things have probably come a long way since then, though. As some reliable insiders have claimed that a reveal will happen before the end of 2023, a number of fans have claimed that October holds the key for an announcement. GTA 6 fans divided over ‘new’ logo spotted on social media One recent supposed leak has claimed to shed light on the reveal, including how the first trailer would play out. In the wake of that, fans are also convinced they’ve found a hint on one of the supposed devs’ social media profiles. It was pointed by some fans over on Reddit that one of the Rockstar devs has a pink and white logo on LinkedIn that no one has seen before. Well, at least that’s what they believe “We are in the endgame now,” said one convinced user. “Rockstar employees are having so much fun trolling this sub,” another added. One fan dug a bit deeper, looking at the edit history of the page and noted that the image was uploaded last year. “What does this mean? It means that someone who seems to work at Rockstar Games waited for nearly 18 months, choosing this week to show a graphic that strongly implies Vice City themes. Why now? It’s probably because the company is on the verge of marketing GTA6,” they said. Of course, there are plenty of skeptics too. “His profile has only 1 follower and 1 contact? yeah this is fake af,” said one. “For all we know, it could be a custom logo for his profile, and that’s it,” commented another. Others pointed out that Rockstar London does have a pink logo, but it’s a different shade to one on the LinkedIn page. That gives further credence to some that it’s all a ruse. As ever with GTA 6, we’re at Rockstar’s mercy and there’s no telling as to when we might see an announcement.

GTA 6 fans so desperate for news they’re claiming 10th anniversary post is a new teaser – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans so desperate for news they’re claiming 10th anniversary post is a new teaser Rockstar GamesThe agonizing wait for any scrap of GTA 6 intel is forcing some avid fans to argue just about anything is teasing Rockstar’s next release, including this subtle detail from a GTA 5 10th anniversary post. It’s now officially been over a decade since GTA 5 hit store shelves. The 2013 smash hit has gone on to captivate multiple generations of players, becoming the second-best-selling game of all time in the process. Naturally, millions of fans have been looking to the future, pondering what’s coming next as GTA 6 looms on the horizon. Outside of the historic 2022 gameplay leak and mere confirmation of its active development, things have been relatively quiet. As a result of Rockstar’s near-silence, players are grasping at straws, holding out hope that just about any subtle detail is actually a teaser for GTA 6. That’s exactly what happened this past week as GTA 5 celebrated its 10th anniversary. As GTA 5 turned 10 on September 17, Rockstar commemorated the day with a few simple posts across social media. However, one particular post, an Instagram story, to be specific, has caught on for a different reason. Shared on the same day, the official Rockstar Games Instagram account shared a GTA Online picture replicating GTA 5’s iconic splash art with Trevor, Franklin, and Michael. In the background of the original post, a plane could be seen flying overhead away from the protagonists. In the new recreation, the plane has changed direction. This plane in question is now heading East from our front-on POV, toward a telephone pole that has seemingly changed its appearance. This minute combo of ever-so-subtle adjustments is enough to have some GTA players convinced it’s yet another small teaser for the impending GTA 6 reveal. By flipping the telephone pole on its side, it appears to resemble a six in Roman Numerals, at least, that’s what some members of the community wish to believe. “I think it’s completely fair to make a ‘VI’ out of that pole,” one fan replied. “It looks almost perfectly like a VI. There’s no way Rockstar overlooked that and didn’t notice.” Though not everyone is quite as convinced. For many others, they claimed it’s a “stretch” at best, with some players arguing the post gives off “conspiracy theorist” energy. “I don’t think Rockstar Games remembers the original picture and just threw this together last minute,” one fan fired back. Regardless of its intention, this seemingly innocuous 10th-anniversary post has once again got the community talking. Hype for GTA 6 is reaching a fever pitch as 2023 winds down, with many hoping the last quarter will bring an official reveal. We’ll just have to wait and see if that’s the case.

GTA 6 fans sell framed photos of Rockstar’s announcement – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans sell framed photos of Rockstar’s announcement Rockstar Games / Twitter: @JustMeRyderRockstar announced on social media that the first trailer for GTA 6 will be arriving in December 2023, and fans are selling frames of the viral post. Rockstar Games, the developers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, announced that the first trailer for the installment in the franchise GTA 6 will be arriving in December. Fans have been awaiting the release of GTA 6, especially after a hacker leaked supposed gameplay footage of the new game, and some were so thrilled with Rockstar’s recent tweet that they decided to sell framed photos of it. GTA 6 fans sell framed tweet In a November 17 post on X (formerly Twitter), one Rockstar Games fan discovered a listing on eBay of a framed copy of the GTA 6 trailer announcement not long after the tweet went live. “Rockstar’s tweet about the GTA 6 trailer was so shocking to some people that someone went and framed the tweet and now is selling it online,” they wrote. Many ridiculed the poster for trying to sell the frame, stating that they should have framed a picture from the trailer when it arrived, not the tweet announcing it. “How are they gonna frame the evermore infamous GTA 6 trailer?” one joked. “What no GTA for 10 years does do a mf,” said another, referencing the lack of Grand Theft Auto titles since the last release in 2013. However, others understood why someone would sell a frame of the tweet, considering the hype it generated, but were more annoyed that the seller didn’t get the sizing of the image right. “Could have at least cropped it better ffs,” one fan complained. “They couldn’t even f**king frame it right,” wrtote another. Some don’t want to pay the premium for a framed copy, with many laminating their own version of the tweet to hang up. The hype surrounding the game has been growing frantic since Rockstar’s tweet, and voice actors like Shawn Fonteno, the voice behind Franklin Clinton in GTA 5, added to the hype with cryptic tweets that have sent fans speculating about a possible return of the character.

GTA 6 fans roast potential Game Awards announcement without even seeing anything – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans roast potential Game Awards announcement without even seeing anything Rockstar Games, The Game AwardsThe Game Awards 2021 is expected to have some huge game announcements and gameplay reveals. One of the latest rumors is that Rockstar Games are set to appease disgruntled fans by making a “big announcement”. Instead of being excited, fans are already laughing off the notion. Rockstar Games’ reputation has taken a hit in recent years with players bemoaning the company’s policy towards making new games. They’ve produced two new, major AAA games in the last 8 years; GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA Online’s ridiculous success has been a huge factor in this strategy alteration with the online mode raking in billions each year. Worse still, Rockstar’s most recent involvement in a project was the publishing of the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition. The game has been poorly received with the game suffering from a huge number of problems. “Shameful” updates, the game’s Performance mode being touted as “unplayable”, and mobile phone port files being found in the game have all dragged Rockstar through the mud. The Game Awards 2021 could be a huge chance for Rockstar Games to turn things around with a rumored, hot announcement. But, it seems that fans don’t care. Outside of E3, the PlayStation Experience, and Nintendo Directs, The Game Awards has become another big occasion for huge announcements. The rumor mill suggests that Rockstar will use this stage to make a big one themselves. However, a post on the GTA Reddit has accumulated over 7K upvotes and counting and mocks the rumor. A Twitter user that claims to be a reliable source for all things GTA VI has said that “Rockstar Games reportedly will make a big announcement at TheGameAwards to appease disappointed fans. Rockstar Games will win back fans’ trust with the announcement.” The title of the Reddit post for this simply says: “Ha, big funny.” Not only that, but the comments section is rife with doubt and disillusionment. Rockstar Games reportedly will make a big announcement at #TheGameAwards to appease disappointed fans. Rockstar Games will win back fans’ trust with announcement. https://t.co/KWevMupN9V pic.twitter.com/fSv7cNT3xc — Budzz0 – 𝓥𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝓒𝓲𝓽𝔂 (@Budzcario) December 4, 2021 Many players think it will just be another GTA remaster announcement, possibly GTA 1 or the ‘Stories’ games. Whereas some were less serious saying that it will be a “Free $250,000 to every player,” presumably for GTA Online. If Rockstar does make an announcement, it begs two interesting questions. Is this a reactionary, knee-jerk response to the GTA Trilogy furor? Or could this finally be the long-awaited GTA 6 reveal? We’ll have to wait and see what The Game Awards 2021 has in store for us on December 10.

GTA 6 fans reveal which celebrities they want to see parodied in upcoming game – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans reveal which celebrities they want to see parodied in upcoming game Rockstar GamesGTA fans have revealed which celebrities and influencers they want to see parodied in GTA 6 when it releases in 2025. There is no denying that GTA 6 is one of the most hotly anticipated games of the next few years. In December 2024, Rockstar unveiled the launch trailer for the upcoming game, with fans immediately sharing their praise and excitement for the game online. As seen in the trailer, GTA 6 appears to be focusing largely on internet culture, with an in-game version of real life social media app TikTok on full display and showcasing some bizarre moments that will take place throughout the game. The trailer was also riddled with Easter eggs, many of which poking fun at real life celebrities and internet culture of the past 5 years. As such, GTA 6 fans are debating online which real-life celebrities and influencers they want to see parodied and spoofed in the new game. Across Reddit, the GTA community have been sharing their picks. While many names were thrown around, three particular celebrities were mentioned the most. The first being one of the most popular female streamers in the world, Amouranth. One redditor commented, “I think an Amouranth parody could work but instead make her a big celebrity who is being clearly forced into her situation but nobody cares enough to stop it.” The next name to be mentioned at large by the GTA community was Theo Von, with many stating he would be a good pick to feature as a host on the GTA radio. “The talk shows are some of my favorite parts about GTA radio, but after 10 years of listening to WCTR, I got tired of being able to quote the lines, so I started muting the radio and putting podcasts on Spotify while playing the game. Theo Von being a southern boy would be PEEEERRRRFECT for a GTA talk station. I need this in my life now.” Lastly, the other streamer that fans hope is parodied is Mr Beast. One user commented how “a Mr beast who actually kills his contestants could be pretty funny.” For all the latest GTA news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

GTA 6 fans predict the game will be announced in 2022 – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans predict the game will be announced in 2022 RockstarGrand Theft Auto fans have donned their crystal balls and predicted that the sixth installment of Rockstar’s acclaimed series will be announced next year, as speculation around the game continues to grow. It’s difficult to think of a game more anticipated than GTA 6, especially when considering the fact that a sequel to 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V has not even been officially confirmed. Reports and rumors have been dripping out of the Rockstar camp, with some suggestions that the game is approaching 75% complete. Other reports, though, state the real figure is far lower – hence the absence of an official announcement. It seems likely that GTA 6 will drop over the next few years, especially given the undeniable success of GTA V and the average length of time between previous iterations. GTA 4, for example, released in 2008, with GTA V following in 2013. Nearly 8 years later, there’s still nothing official on GTA 6. In order to gauge community expectations, one Redditor on the popular GTA 6 forum questioned their fellow GTA fans on when they expect the game to be announced. They caveated their question by saying: “Obviously no one knows, but I’m curious about what the general expectations of the community are.” The options for their question ranged from this year to 2025 or later. With nearly 3,000 votes cast at the time of writing, 2022 came out as a clear winner, with 1.1k votes. 2021 was next, with around 880 votes. The full poll can be viewed below. Of course, this poll is not reflective of when we will get an official announcement, but it is indicative of how the community have interpreted leaks and rumors. They’re setting the expectations somewhat reasonably, but for all we know it could be a lot later than 2022. Over 2/3 of the votes cast were for either 2021 or 2022, meaning the majority of GTA fans seem expectant of an announcement sooner rather than later. As previously mentioned, the 8-year gap between games is already the longest in the GTA series’ history. An announcement, too, would not signal the imminent launch of the game. Titles are often announced a year or two before their launch, allowing developers to refine their games and ready them for release. What is clear, though, is that the GTA community can’t wait to see what Rockstar has planned.

GTA 6 fans put on red alert as Rockstar drop map size clue – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans put on red alert as Rockstar drop map size clue Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has opened the door to a feature that could give GTA 6 fans an idea of how big the next map will be. The game developers have been keeping their cards firmly to their chest since announcing GTA 6 was in development back in February, where they broke a record on Twitter for interactions. Since then, a handful of leaks have been revealed, teasing some changes that may be coming up for Grand Theft Auto fans. A hacker posted photos and videos of allegedly in-development footage, including unfinished textures and models. Those wondering how big the next map might have been put on red alert this November, though, as Rockstar sent out surveys about a possible innovation. GTA survey hints at fast travel Selected GTA Online players have been approached with feedback surveys, regarding GTA+. As reported by Tez2, players are asked to pick between two new offerings that don’t yet exist in the online mode, including: Instant fast travel around the map – Free access to classic Rockstar games – This could be the dev team just putting feelers out there for new ideas or something bigger – like a clue about possible innovations for GTA 6. This comes just days after it was reported that select GTA Online players were being given $500,000 in the game to complete surveys. At that stage, limited information was available as to what it contained. However, Tez2 says those who completed the survey were pitched a very specific version of the feature. It said: “Ability to fast travel around Los Santos and Blaine County,” which suggests it could even be added sooner than GTA 6. Other popular open-world games with a fast travel option include Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and even one under the Rockstar umbrella – Red Dead Redemption. RDR2, for example, has a 75 square mile map for players to explore, compared to GTA 5’s which is just under 50 square miles. The closest thing that comes to fast travel in Grand Theft Auto is riding a taxi, but who wants to pay that fare? So, it’s not exactly out of the question for future GTA games, including GTA 6, to have a bigger map that needs to be supported by fast travel. We will just have to wait and see.

GTA 6 fans predict big Donald Trump influence on next game – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans predict big Donald Trump influence on next game Rockstar / YouTube: Acepilot2k7Rockstar Games are still yet to officially announce Grand Theft Auto 6 with a teaser or trailer, leaving big question marks around characters, plot, and locations. Well, in the meantime, GTA fans have predicted Donald Trump could have an influence on the story. The existence of a new Grand Theft Auto title has been leaked, confirmed with an official tweet, and then details have spilled onto some developers’ LinkedIn pages in recent months. However, many fans are none the wiser about not just when it’s expected to launch, but also what it is going to be about. There is a strong possibility that fan-favorite characters will make their triumphant return. As many have been reminiscing about the good old days with The Trilogy: Definitive Edition (when it’s not bugging out), there’s one guy in GTA: Vice City that people are expecting to see again soon. That guy, well, is Donald Love. GTA 6: Players think Donald Love is coming back For those who don’t know already, Donald Love was a main character in GTA 3 and reappeared in Vice City and Liberty City Stories. As the owner of Love Media, he’s a billionaire who once ran for Liberty City mayor. Over the years, there have been many connections made between Love and the owner of The Trump Organization, former United States President, Donald Trump. While writers have never confirmed the influence of their character, fans are wondering if the rise of Trump in politics could also influence Love, should he return in GTA 6. Imagine he put together a political run of his own… The idea of seeing Love return in Grand Theft Auto 6 seems to be a popular one, with some fans theorizing he might even be the President by then. In a Reddit post, one fan said: “Imagine if he’s president in GTA 6.” Another commented: “That would be hilarious!” GTA 6 is yet to be given an official release date, despite members of the community wanting to find out more about the next installment. Whether or not Donald will play a part in the upcoming title remains to be seen – but if it did happen, it could be yuge.

GTA 6 fans plan to boycott GTA Online after cancelation of leaked story DLCs – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans plan to boycott GTA Online after cancelation of leaked story DLCs Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans are furious after leaks revealed Rockstar canceled 8 story DLCs for GTA 5 and plan to boycott GTA Online out of protest. Leaked GTA 5 source code has revealed a trove of details about canned game content including Bully 2, GTA Tokyo, Agent and several story DLCs for GTA 5 that never came to light. The files indicated that GTA 5’s DLC was set to return to Liberty City, feature a North Yankton expansion and much more. Unfortunately, these never came out, leaving players convinced that the success of GTA Online’s live service business model is to blame. With GTA 6 set to release in 2025 and undoubtedly feature its own updated version of GTA Online, players are already planning to stay clear of it so as not to risk a repeat of the GTA 5 DLC fiasco. Players plan GTA VI Online boycott after Rockstar cancels story DLC Across social media, single-player GTA fans blamed GTA Online players for Rockstar’s decision to cancel DLC and how they’d target GTA 6 as payback. “Every single one of you is to blame for buying microtransactions in GTA Online. Smh. What a utter shambles,” one GTA fan blasted. “Rockstar Games will suffer for this,” said one user who posted a screenshot of the DLC list. “Liberty V as the last single player DLC and I’m seeing videos of some online DLC with characters from IV,” said another. “All of this was scrapped to shove the ideas in the stupid ass online cause they sell a bazillion shark cards. I’m deff not touching 6 cause of this sh*t.” “Rockstar really let GTA: Online rob us from 8 Single-Player DLCs,” another remarked. “Vote with your wallets and don’t spend money on GTA 6 Online,” urged someone else. Given the massive hype for GTA 6, it’ll be interesting to see how many people keep their word to not touch the game’s online mode or if Rockstar will release story content for VI regardless of its success. GTA 6 fans may have discovered the Vice City map hidden in official artwork – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans may have discovered the Vice City map hidden in official artwork Rockstar GamesThe hype for GTA 6 has been off the charts since Rockstar Games finally unveiled the first trailer, but fans may have been looking in the wrong place for a major tease by the developers. In December, GTA VI was finally officially revealed to the world, confirming a return to Vice City, a female and male protagonist, and more. As fans scoured the trailer for as many clues as possible, others took a closer look at the art that accompanied the footage. Rockstar Games has already stated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a state-wide affair with the state of Leonida, the GTA version of Florida, serving as the backdrop. While leaked gameplay footage gave players an idea of what the full Leonida map will look like, Rockstar may have already shared it with us, we just didn’t look close enough. Until now. Rockstar Games may have hidden the GTA 6 map in official artwork In a post on X, user PainkillerH20 posted a series of photos zooming in on the promotional GTA 6 art of Jason and Lucia, claiming the map was hidden in plain sight. “Rockstar Games is very clever. Apparently, the size of the GTA 6 map is in the official wallpaper for GTA6,” they said. “If you zoom in you will see a very pixelated map and if this is the size of GTA 6, it’s going to be very massive.” Of course, the actual map hasn’t been confirmed yet, so this could all just be wild speculation or a big reach, but YouTuber NikTek decided to use the map fans crafted after the leaks as an overlay to see how it compares. “Here’s a direct view and color correction to make the supposed map more visible and a comparison between the mapping project that was built of the GTA 6 2022 Leaks,” they explained. Interestingly, the maps don’t exactly align, so either this “tease” means nothing at all, or the mapping project still needs some work. It’s also possible that the map in the artwork isn’t the full map. GTA 6 is set to finally release in 2025, so we still have a bit to go until we learn the truth, but this is certainly one of the biggest GTA VI developments since Rockstar dropped the record-breaking trailer.

GTA 6 fans on alert after unreleased GTA Online content reveals mysterious new city – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans on alert after unreleased GTA Online content reveals mysterious new city Rockstar GamesAn unreleased t-shirt in GTA Online featuring an unidentified city has players speculating that it could be connected to GTA 6. GTA 6 is already the most anticipated game of all time, and fans have been eager for Rockstar to finally unveil the long-awaited title. While hacks and leaks gave players an early look at the upcoming open-world and Vice City, fans have been excited for Rockstar’s official announcement and the game’s first trailer. Now, a GTA Online t-shirt has players pondering a link toward GTA 6 and a possible new city that has yet to be explored in the franchise’s history. GTA Online shirt with unknown city sparks GTA 6 speculation On Twitter, user ‘ClassiqueGTA’ posted a photo of the unreleased shirt called “Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar” and noted that it features a modified taxi. In addition to the cab, however, the city skyline in the background isn’t Los Santos – and players seem to have doubts that it’s Vice City, either. “Like a few people have pointed out, this doesn’t seem to be Vice City either, which am sure is what a lot of people might’ve assume,” a fan remarked. “I wonder if this is just some random skyline or another city set to be featured in GTA VI (like Port Gellhorn).” “Looks a lot like Vice City, maybe an Easter Egg hint for GTA 6?” theorized another. “I’d say Vice City, but the mountain?” another confused player commented. Like a few people have pointed out, this doesn’t seem to be Vice City either, which am sure is what a lot of people might’ve assume. — KARIM (@374_Karim) December 19, 2022 I wonder if this just some random skyline or another city set to be featured in GTA VI (like Port Gellhorn) Of course, it’s possible that the city is just a weird-looking version of Los Santos with Mount Chiliad on it, but that hasn’t stopped the discussion from raging on social media. Whether or not we end up actually getting an additional location to Vice City in GTA 6, however, remains uncertain until Rockstar finally unveils what it’s been working on.

GTA 6 fans may have discovered a big clue in latest GTA 5 trailer – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans may have discovered a big clue in latest GTA 5 trailer Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans have been extremely outspoken about wanting Rockstar Games to announce the next installment in the series instead of rereleasing GTA 5, and now, they may have found a GTA 6 clue in the latest trailer. The September 9 PlayStation Showcase saw Rockstar announce that the next-gen port of GTA V and GTA Online would be delayed to March 2022, and fans were not happy. With players demanding a new game instead of another trip to Los Santos, the trailer was heavily downvoted to the tune of 150,000 dislikes and only 26,000 thumbs up on YouTube. However, amidst all the downvoting, some players have spotted a potential clue pointing towards the setting of the next game. About 38 seconds into the trailer, there is a car with a yellow license plate that reads: “6ISAL890.” When read a certain way, it could appear to say, “6 is a late 90s.” Of course, some fans immediately took this as a sign that Rockstar is saying that GTA 6 takes place in the late 90s and not modern day. Others, while not sold on the meaning, believe there could still be something to the plate. “It may mean nothing, but don’t think they don’t pay attention to details, I’m sure it means something. They don’t just put random stuff, especially when the license plate stands out like that with the yellow,” a user on Reddit noted. “Think what you want but I don’t think this is a coincidence, someone is messing with us at Rockstar,” another wrote. Read More: GTA Trilogy leaks through NVIDIA GeForce NOW – There have been loads of leaks and rumors about the setting of the next installment with everyone seemingly agreeing that the location is Vice City. That said, the time period is up for debate. Some leakers have claimed the game would take place in modern day and feature a Bitcoin-style currency while others have suggested that it could be the 80s. As always, take all of this with a grain of salt, but if GTA 6 does end up being set in the 90s, there’s a good chance Rockstar let us known with this tease. Sadly, it looks like the game may not be coming out until 2025, so we will have quite a bit of time to wait.

GTA 6 fans make major discovery in leaked gameplay revealing new state – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans make major discovery in leaked gameplay revealing new state gamerficialIt appears GTA 6 players will be able to travel beyond Vice City to a completely different state according to leaked gameplay footage. Rockstar Games has still yet to officially unveil GTA 6, but fans have been deciphering a trove of leaked footage to get a better grasp on what the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series will be like. In addition to a female and male protagonist, GTA VI is slated to feature big new mechanics such as more explorable buildings than ever before, a revamped Wanted system and more. However, one little detail in the leaks could have some serious importance as it appears that GTA 6 won’t just see a return to Vice City, but the introduction of another state outside of Florida. Leaked GTA 6 footage reveals entirely new location for franchise As noted by players who compiled a list of details from the leaked footage, GTA 6 seems to include locations from Georgia, indicating that players will be able to travel beyond Vice City. “Rockstar have brought down and featured locations from Georgia, including a Prison and mountain ranges not present in real world Florida,” the GTA 6 leak document states. On Twitter, users pointed out that footage shows protagonist Jason outside of a location that appears identical to Augusta State Medical Prison in Georgia. In real life, Georgia borders Florida, but the state is still quite some distance from Miami, which is what Vice City is based on, so expect some interesting geographical changes in GTA. We’ll have to wait and see what else the developers have cooking up, but hopefully we won’t have long to wait. Comments from Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick have suggested that GTA VI will release as early as 2024, so we might be getting a trailer in the months ahead. GTA 6 fans identify nine law enforcement types in trailer revealing new locations – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans identify nine law enforcement types in trailer revealing new locations Rockstar GamesThe GTA 6 hype keeps growing even after the first trailer debut as fans have discovered some big new details in the footage. Rockstar Games is set to return to Vice City for GTA VI and we got our first official look at the state of ‘Leonida’ in the trailer, but there’s a lot more than just the one city to explore. Just like with GTA San Andreas, GTA 6 seems to be a state-wide map, with locations spanning across the Sunshine State and even a bit beyond. While the trailer showed off main protagonists Lucia and Jason as well as some new locations, players have spotted that there are a variety of law enforcement types and as a result, even more locations have been discovered. GTA 6 police departments reveal new Leonida locations In a post on the GTA 6 subreddit, user ‘Hosia12’ uploaded a PDF with everything the GTA VI Analysis Team spotted in the trailer and there are some very bold discoveries. Aside from all the new brands, cars and weapons, the post also detailed nine different types of law enforcement and multiple police departments, each pointing to a new area of the map. The police departments include: Kelly County, Ocean Beach, Port Gellhorn, Vice City and Vice Dale Police Department. That’s not all either. The list also features the Leonard County Sheriff’s Office, Leonida Department of Corrections, Leonida Highway Patrol, and the United States Coast Guard. Considering these are only the law enforcement we’ve seen in the trailer, there’s no telling how many Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature when it finally launches in 2025. GTA 6 fans left skeptical at alleged logo & teaser leaks – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans left skeptical at alleged logo & teaser leaks Rockstar GamesA fresh supposed GTA 6 leak has claimed to reveal the date that Rockstar Games will begin their highly-anticipated game, but fans aren’t too sure about it. After a slight lean period for Grand Theft Auto content, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is going to drop before the end of 2021. While plenty of Grand Theft Auto fans were delighted with the news, some, of course, were not. They quickly questioned Rockstar as to when they’d be announcing GTA 6 and why they were working on remasters instead of something new. A concrete release date for the remastered trilogy has not been revealed, but if a new leak is to be believed, it could come soon – and alongside some GTA 6 teasers. Following on from the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition announcement, fans uncovered an anonymous leaker claiming to have the full rundown on what Rockstar is doing in the next few weeks. According to their claims, the full trailer for the remasters will drop on October 22nd, before being followed by a release in mid-November. Though, the game developers wouldn’t be finished there. The leak also claims that Rockstar will start teasing GTA 6 a week later, revealing the logo for the new game on November 23. While it all sounds great, naturally, fans are skeptical. [deleted by user] by inGTA6 As many are quick to point out, Rockstar has a full plate when it comes to GTA – especially with the release of the remastered trilogy and next-gen port of GTA 5 and GTA Online.

GTA 6 fans ‘heartbroken’ after rumored reveal event passes: “The wait continues” – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans ‘heartbroken’ after rumored reveal event passes: “The wait continues” Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans expecting Rockstar to officially reveal the long-awaited game on October 21 were left heartbroken after there was no announcement. Players had been expecting a big GTA 6 reveal in October with the Stealth UFO event in GTA Online after rumors circulated there was a “high-chance” for an announcement. The theories first began after notable insider Tez2 claimed that the mystery of a photo in GTA San Andreas, which many believe to be a GTA 6 screenshot, would be solved during the UFO event and possibly lead to a reveal. When the Stealth UFO event that Tez2 said would happen on October 23 was moved to October 21, fans began going wild with hype, but alas, the day came and went with no reveal leaving players frustrated. Players saddened by busted GTA 6 reveal On Twitter, YouTuber LegacyKilla voiced his disappointment but remained optimistic that something could still happen. “The Stealth UFO event in GTA Online ended up being nothing. No post today at all from Rockstar but there still is the rest of October & GTA Vice City’s 20-year anniversary for a potential GTA 6 reveal… or not,” he wrote. “The wait continues.” “Nothing happened,” someone else tweeted. “Disappointment.” Others coped by posting memes, such as this one with Buster from PBS show Arthur mocking people on the internet who “tell lies.” On GTA Forums, the source of many of the hype, users commented about the lack of a reveal. “Tez, you broke my heart. I don’t want to receive calls from you in the late afternoon because there’s no way I’m going to forgive you,” one joked. “Tez didn’t lie tho, he speculated much like us. He’s not a Messiah,” admin Spider-Vice remarked. As plenty of others have noted, however, there is still a lot of October left and it’s always possible that a reveal gets pushed into November. In any case, fans will have to wait a bit longer to get their first official look at GTA 6. Until then, at least the leaked gameplay gave players a lot to look forward to when the game eventually releases.

GTA 6 fans have found another teaser that points at Vice City – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans have found another teaser that points at Vice City Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans have found another teaser that indicates that the next installment in the series will be set in Vice City. Despite it not even being announced, the next installment in the GTA series is one of the most anticipated games of all time. There’s no telling when the game will officially be released, or even shown to fans for the first time for that matter, but that doesn’t stop fanatics from diving deep into every post from Rockstar Games. It’s been rumored for quite some time that we’ll be heading back to Vice City for GTA 6, and now fans have found another teaser that points toward where the next game may take place. GTA 6 fans find another Vice City teaser In a December 24 tweet, GTA fan ‘nestorsite’ unveiled a potential teaser hinting that GTA 6 may well and fact be set in Vice City. According to the fan, upon analyzing the artwork from Rockstar’s happy holidays message, they noticed the helicopter used in the image looks rather similar to the real-life Miami police department helicopters. “I’ve been looking at the heli of Rockstar’s Christmas artwork and comparing it to GTA V’s LSPD as well as the real life versions of Los Angeles and Miami. The resemblance to the Miami helicopter is crystal clear, it’s exactly the same, I don’t think there’s any debate here,” they said. While fans were skeptical, many did notice the similarities between the two helicopters. While of course, it’s not much to go off, this among many other teasers do point towards the next game being set in Vice City. But, we’ll just have to wait and see.

GTA 6 fans have created a petition to “skip” 2024 so they can play the game quicker – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans have created a petition to “skip” 2024 so they can play the game quicker Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans have created a petition to skip the whole of 2024 so that they can get their hands on the game sooner rather than later. There is no denying that GTA 6 is the most highly anticipated gaming release of 2025. After being in development for the better part of five years, the first trailer for the game was finally released this year. And while the reveal was flooded with controversy following a major leak of the footage online, the hype for the game is well and truly at a new high. So much so that GTA fans have created a petition to skip the whole year of 2024 so that they can get their hands on the upcoming game sooner. The petition, which currently has over 20,000 signatures, is in relation to fans not wanting to wait over a year to play GTA 6. The petition, which was posted on Reddit, has been gaining attention online, with many fellow GTA fans sharing a similar sentiment. One Redditor posted, “Honestly though I have a feeling 2024 is going to suck. There’s like a cycle going back to about 2008 [where] sh*it just dives every four years or so.” However, some fans think that skipping to 2025 will not be enough, sharing their concerns that the game will get delayed further to the following year. “Rockstar would literally change the release to 2026,” wrote one Reddit user, another adding “Rockstar is known for delaying their games.” However, others share a very different view on the wait, believing that the “lead up” to GTA 6 will be an exciting time and that waiting for the game to be ready will be worth the wait. “1.5 to 2 years from announcement to release is already pretty on point for Rockstar, and at this point delaying would be PR poison. This 2025 window is probably accounting for delays already, but I’d expect them to already have a pretty good idea when they can ship.” For all the latest GTA news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

GTA 6 fans furious over 2025 release are being told to stay patient – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans furious over 2025 release are being told to stay patient Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have finally unveiled GTA 6’s 2025 release window, and disappointed fans are being reminded to stay patient. The curtain has finally been lifted on Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) after a massive leak led to Rockstar Games pushing out the highly-anticipated premiere earlier than expected. The trailer showcased the vibrant Vice City with a modern twist and the series’ first female protagonist, Lucia. However, the announcement of a 2025 release date has sparked a mixture of emotions among fans who are torn between excitement and impatience. While many fans of the series were eagerly anticipating a 2024 release, it has now been revealed that GTA 6 will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S at launch in 2025, with no mention of a PC release or support for past-gen hardware. It’s the first time we’ve had any indication of a clear timeframe from Rockstar, and it’s fair to say that many fans are frustrated by the long wait. “If someone would have told me after the release of V in 2013 that it will take till 2025 for the next one, I would have laughed out loud,” one player shared on Reddit. “2025? Damn, I feel like they are punishing us because of the leaks,” another disappointed player added. Yet, others are taking a more understanding stance, with many rising to defend the 2025 timeline after being wowed by the game’s first trailer. The argument for some is that the extended development period could only mean a more polished, detailed, and immersive gaming experience. Comments like, “If it looks this good right now, imagine how much better it’ll look when it gets polished for two more years,” and “We still have a year and a half to go and it looks THIS f***ing good,” show that fans have placed trust in Rockstar’s commitment to quality. After all this time, what’s another two years, anyway?

GTA 6 fans fear the worst as Take-Two reveals game release pipeline – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans fear the worst as Take-Two reveals game release pipeline Rockstar GamesTake-Two Interactive has released a report for their 2023-25 game release pipeline, and Grand Theft Auto fans are worried about the lack of GTA 6. Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise have been waiting for GTA 6 for almost a decade now. It wouldn’t be until February of 2022 that Take-Two would finally address the next generation of GTA. “We are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway,” Take-Two wrote in a blog post. But it’s been a few months since then, and fans are getting antsy once again. Now, the FY23-25 Pipeline Details for the publisher have been released, and GTA fans are worried. They’ve waited nine years already, and are afraid they may have to wait for four more. Take-Two’s FY23-FY25 Pipeline outlined: pic.twitter.com/kZEf8xgpvL — Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) May 16, 2022 Take-Two release schedule terrifies GTA 6 fans Industry insider Tom Henderson recently tweeted a photo of the Take-Two FY23-FY25 Pipeline Details. This document outlines the games Take-Two interactive intends to release during that three-year period. The list included Kerbal Space Program 2, several 2K sports games, and a new Tale From the Borderlands installment, but no mention of GTA 6. There was even mention of a planned 2023 release for Grant Theft Auto: The Trilogy. Disappointed fans responded to the tweet pointing out the lack of Grand Theft Auto 6. “Wait, no GTA6 until 2025/2026? WTF” one user responded while another commented, “Oh boy more GTA remasters and not GTA 6. Yawn.” However, the document reads, “It is likely… that we will also be adding new titles to our slate.” This means GTA 6 could be added to the release schedule at a later date. Several comments advised that Take-Two would only include games they’ve already announced in the outline. So, while the lack of GTA 6 is alarming, it doesn’t mean it won’t be here until 2026.

GTA 6 fans fear “horrific” microtransactions coming as GTA Online makes millions – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans fear “horrific” microtransactions coming as GTA Online makes millions Rockstar GamesGTA Online is earning a fortune for Take-Two executives through microtransactions and fans are worried that this trend will continue with the release of GTA 6. Rockstar has remained mum on news related to GTA 6 despite promising fans that the game is “well underway” and even reportedly targeting a 2024 release. In the meantime, fans have been stuck traversing the world of San Andreas in GTA Online, and the game’s microtransactions are helping CEO Strauss Zelnick earn over $70 million in 2023. Amid news that Zelnick and company president Karl Slatoff were raking in big bonuses due to microtransactions, fans began fearing that things will only get worse when GTA 6 is out. Grand Theft Auto players brace for upcoming GTA 6 microtransactions In a thread on X, YouTuber LegacyKillaHD remarked how GTA 6’s microtransactions would be “horrific” after seeing news of the Take-Two bonuses. This sparked a conversation with many others joining in with their own thoughts about GTA VI and the issues they have with microtransactions as a concept. “GTA VI’s budget is rumored to be $2B. No f**kin way would that be happening if it weren’t for microtransactions. 10+ years of shark cards is craaaazy,” one said. “Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re in the story of GTA as well,” another sighed. Some even warned that GTA 6 would be the final Rockstar title they purchase if the microtransaction problem continues in GTA Online. “GTA 6 may be my last Rockstar game I ever play. If they do online as gross as they’ve done GTA 5 online then they don’t deserve my money,” someone else snapped. GTA 6 may be my last Rockstar game I ever play. If they do online as gross as they’ve done GTA5 online then they don’t deserve my money. They can go on the list with Ubisoft if they don’t change tune. Plenty of other devs that aren’t scum of the industry that I can support — Luke (@lukmills) August 1, 2023 Of course, Rockstar has yet to reveal anything about GTA 6’s new Online component, so for now, fans are just speculating, but if rumors of a 2024 release end up being true, we should hopefully expect an official reveal soon and tons of new details. In the meantime, players might have their hands full after leaks surfaced that a Red Dead Redemption remake is coming this year – something that likely won’t feature any sort of microtransactions.

GTA 6 fans excited by Rockstar’s new AI technology for advanced NPCs and buildings – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans excited by Rockstar’s new AI technology for advanced NPCs and buildings Rockstar GamesGTA 6 is finally set to arrive in 2025. As fans grow eager to hear more about the game from Rockstar, a new patent has players even more excited about the return to Vice City. The next installment of the Grand Theft Auto series is coming next year. The first trailer for the game has already broken countless records, all without showing any official gameplay. Leaks have already given players an idea of just how massive the size and scope of GTA VI will be, but new AI technology patented by Take-Two Interactive could make the game even more immersive. As noted by Reddit user ‘NoDevelopment894,’ Rockstar’s parent company filed patents for new AI technology that could radically change GTA 6’s world, giving players an experience like no other. New AI technology could make GTA 6 even more immersive The patent explains how the technology can “procedurally generate building interiors” that will vary depending on the type of building a player enters. Some examples are shown, stating how kitchen walls, cupboards, couches and bedrooms can differ to create new layouts with their own furnished style and color palettes. That’s not all, though: GTA 6’s NPCs could also be getting a huge boost from AI. Through this technology, characters will have their own unique responses to world events and behave much more like real people. Additionally, with social media playing such a key role in GTA 6, NPCs could start taking out their phones and recording wild incidents that occur. Players were blown away by the AI developments and what it could mean for their own playthroughs once they get their hands on GTA VI. “The interior AI makes me optimistic that we will have a lot of enterable building. If they could somehow generate interiors every time we want to enter a building would be groundbreaking for such a large game!” a fan exclaimed. “Give me the real ultimate crime sandbox, Rockstar,” another chimed in. Others began to brainstorm what playing GTA 6 with this type of AI would be like. One wrote: “Imagine walking during late night downtown and running into a group of drunk NPCs that probably had met just a few hours ago.” Of course, until Rockstar makes an announcement, take all of this with a grain of salt, as there’s no indication that this technology will be featured in GTA 6 just yet. However, with a second trailer expected later this year, hopefully we get a ton of new details and learn what the devs have in store for us when VI launches.

GTA 6 smashes MrBeast YouTube record as reveal sets internet on fire – Dexerto
GTA 6 smashes MrBeast YouTube record as reveal sets internet on fire Rockstar GamesThe long-anticipated GTA 6 trailer has shattered MrBeast’s record for the most views on a non-music YouTube video in 24 hours. It has now been over a decade since Rockstar Games released GTA 5 and GTA Online. However, the wait for the next installment in the series has felt much longer than that. In early November, developers Rockstar Games confirmed reports and rumors that we’d soon be seeing the first trailer for the game sometime in December. It was then revealed that ‘Trailer 1’ would be released on December 5, sending the world into madness — where even other game developers began to adopt an announcement style similar to Rockstar’s. Unfortunately, Rockstar was left to scramble after the trailer leaked online earlier than planned. Still, the video has broken a YouTube record in a matter of hours. GTA 6 trailer breaks record for most views on a YouTube video in 24 hours After the GTA 6 trailer was leaked, Rockstar was quick to officially launch it themselves. “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube,” they wrote on Twitter/X. Before being released, Grand Theft Auto fans expected the trailer to shatter the record for the most views on a non-music YouTube video in 24 hours, and dethrone YouTube’s king MrBeast. It turns out they were right, where in less than 13 hours the trailer has smashed the previous record of 59.4 million views. The previous record, which was held by MrBeast, was broken by the YouTube star for several weeks consecutively before he set it at 59.4 million views with his ‘$1 vs $100,000,000’ video. Despite many acknowledging the YouTuber’s wider demographic, amassing an enormous 216 million subscribers to date, they still predicted GTA 6’s trailer would take the record from him. “It should shatter it. I could see it getting even double this,” one wrote. “It’ll probably crash YouTube not gonna lie,” another predicted. “By a large margin. This is GTA were talking here,” a third added. On the other hand, some claimed that while it would get tens of millions of views, they believed it wouldn’t be enough to break the record. “It will definitely have tens of millions of views in 24 hours but I don’t think it’ll beat MrBeast. He has a wider demographic,” one explained. MrBeast recognized that his record was broken, celebrating the moment in a post that has over 250k likes. “The GTA 6 trailer just broke our record for most views on YouTube in 24 hours,” he wrote, adding a surprised face emoji. Rockstar themselves also acknowledged that they broke the YouTube star’s record, quote reposting MrBeast’s original post with a raising hands and love heart emoji. Nonetheless, the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is now on track to also beat the general record for the most-viewed YouTube video in its first 24 hours, currently held by South Korean boy band BTS.

GTA 6 fans excited as Rockstar looks for players to test “new games” – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans excited as Rockstar looks for players to test “new games” Rockstar GamesSome new Rockstar Games job listings have fans excited that the long-awaited GTA 6 could finally be announced soon after years of waiting for news. Grand Theft Auto 6 has been on the tip of everyone’s minds for years now, and with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X now available, it seems like the time is ripe for the next installment in Rockstar’s flagship series. While Rockstar themselves have yet to announce the game, there have been some slight teasers seemingly made by the company themselves and plenty of leaks, though none have been confirmed as legitimate just yet. Now, some new job listings have fans hoping that we can see some official news coming soon. Job listings for game testers at Rockstar India, Lincoln, and North are leading some to think this could be connected to GTA 6. People in the position are responsible for finding, reproducing and reporting bugs in detailed reports that include screenshots, videos and game logs. Additionally, candidates should have a “competent gaming ability” and “knowledge of current generation games consoles and PCs.” Interestingly, only the Rockstar India position lists “knowledge and experience of Rockstar’s recent titles” in its job qualifications. It’s unclear why this is so, but there are some important factors to keep in mind. The PS5 and Xbox Series port of GTA V still isn’t out yet, so it’s possible this position could be related to that game. Additionally, there is still the standalone version of GTA Online in the pipeline, so undoubtedly there will be testing needed for that. Speaking of GTA V on new consoles, there is still limited information on it at this time – and depending on how far Rockstar pushes the “expanded and enhanced” element of the new title, it could be a huge new experience. In any case, it’s unlikely we get any GTA 6 information until the port is finally released, but with it still slated for 2021, hopefully we get some news on the next game before the year is over.

GTA 6 fans excited after Rockstar employees reveal development details – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans excited after Rockstar employees reveal development details Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto players anticipating the next installment in the franchise have uncovered the LinkedIn profiles of two Rockstar Games employees that reveal some new information about GTA 6. The next GTA title was finally confirmed back in February with Rockstar Games stating that development was “well underway.” Despite the announcement, the game’s location, release, and even title have yet to be officially revealed. This hasn’t stopped plenty of leaks from spreading, such as a return to Vice City, story details, and even the game’s first screenshot. However, nothing has been confirmed just yet. Now, it seems like fans have discovered some legitimate new details about the game’s development after combing through the LinkedIn profiles of Rockstar employees. New GTA 6 details leaked by Rockstar employees The profiles of Rockstar employees Nathan Hunt and Ryan Schacter state that they are working on GTA 6 (also stylized as GTA VI), confirming the next title will indeed be numbered. Hunt, a Senior Cinematics Camera Artist, says he is “responsible for cinematics cinematography and narrative design flow for immersive, seamless transitions from cinematics to in-game” along with creating “cinematic transitions for cutscenes and interactive scenarios.” Meanwhile, Schacter works on gameplay animation as a Senior Animator implementing, “unique story-driven animation vignettes.” On Reddit, some excited fans believe the job details about cinematic transitions could be implying character switching like in GTA 5, confirming rumors about three playable protagonists. “Holy sh*t! This is huge if they’re implementing Motion Matching in GTA 6,” another remarked before comparing the tech to The Last of Us Part 2. “Motion matching would make transitions really seamless. TLOU2 is probably the only example we have of this tech.” Unfortunately, that’s everything we know for now, but with each day that passes, we’re inching closer toward GTA 6 and a possible trailer. Only time will tell if the game ends up living up to its immense hype or if it falters in a wave of disappointment.

GTA 6 fans don’t want Rockstar to add realistic driving feature from Mafia – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans don’t want Rockstar to add realistic driving feature from Mafia Rockstar GamesGTA 6 is finally arriving next year, and despite being one of the most realistic-looking games of all time, players want Rockstar to avoid a certain feature from Mafia. Rockstar Games took realism to new levels with Red Dead Redemption 2, and fans are expecting much of the same when GTA VI launches in 2025. We’ve already seen some clues from leaked gameplay that the next Grand Theft Auto will incorporate some new, more realistic features, such as limiting how many weapons you can carry on you at a time and vehicle customization details. However, when it comes to driving, players seem to have unanimously agreed that Mafia’s feature where users can fill up their fuel tanks at gas stations is just too much and want Rockstar to skip out on it. Players rally against needing to refuel their cars in GTA 6 In a post on X, GTA 6 fan account ‘TheGTAVerse’ posted about how they believe Rockstar should add a car refueling system from Mafia to add “realism” to police chases. “Imagine situations like pulling over and surrendering during chases while the fuel runs out,” they said. “While it’s not ideal for Online mode, it enhances the single-player experience. Thoughts?” Users in the comments were instantly put off by the idea. Needing to refuel one’s car is already tedious in real life, not to mention expensive, and for many, this just wouldn’t be fun. “It’s not a simulator man… Running away from wanted level just to run out of gas?” one remarked. “I have to disagree, there’s a point where too much realism will become a hassle. If you’re on a cop chase and you steal a car with low fuel, it will be a hassle,” another hypothesized I have to disagree, there’s a point where too much realism will become a hassle. If you’re on a cop chase and you steal a car with low fuel, it will be a hassle — NikTek (@NikTekOfficial) January 13, 2024 Someone else chimed in about how those who want a feature like this would be better off just waiting for the PC release, because of mods. “I’m trying to play GTA, not real life simulator. If you want a refueling system, wait for the PC release which will get a mod for a fueling system almost immediately – just like with V,” a player suggested. Yeah no thanks. I’m trying to play GTA, not real life simulator. — Piotr Chambers (@CyphenX) January 13, 2024 If you want a refueling system, wait for the PC release which will get a mod for a fueling system almost immediately – just like with V. There’s no telling if Rockstar will actually add a refueling mechanic to GTA VI, but we’ll surely learn more info in the months ahead as the devs begin to reveal more information about the long-awaited game.

GTA 6 fans excited after leaked controller layout reveals new gameplay features – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans excited after leaked controller layout reveals new gameplay features Rockstar GamesThe GTA 6 controller layout has been revealed via gameplay leaks and fans are thrilled over new features coming to the series. It’s been over ten years since the last Grand Theft Auto game was released and GTA VI has a lot of catching up to advance the series’ gameplay to new heights. The 2022 gameplay leaks revealed quite a lot about the game before Rockstar officially unveiled GTA 6, giving players a sneak peek at Vice City, the new protagonists, and even controls. Players were able to determine exactly what each button does based on the footage and while there are some predictable button layouts, it also showcases new features. Leaked GTA VI controller layout reveals new features As shown by users on X, there are a slew of new options available for on-foot gameplay in GTA 6 that separate it from GTA 5. Of note, while tapping L3 will once again let you crouch, you can now hold L3 to go prone. This should come in handy during intense shootouts, hiding from cops, and even stealth missions. Sticking with the thumbstick buttons, R3 will now let you switch weapon hands. It’s not clear yet what the point of this is, but it may apply more to aiming while driving. Triangle/Y meanwhile, will be used for picking up items, so expect a lot more gameplay mechanics for non-weapons in the next GTA experience. Notably absent is any form of function for R1. In GTA 5, this would let players snap to cover, but it seems like GTA 6 will be utilizing an auto-cover system. It’s unlikely that Rockstar will leave R1 vacant, so it’ll be very interesting to see what sort of new feature the devs have in store. Finally, square on PlayStation or X on Xbox, which was used to jump and dive in GTA 5, is also absent. Once again, this raises some eyebrows about what the developers have planned. Fans are absolutely thrilled over the changes with many loving that Rockstar appears to be adding some long-requested features. “HOLD TO GO PRONE?! Hell yea baby!” one exclaimed. “Prone (crawl) is so much more useful than switching weapon hand … And the D-pad buttons that aren’t labeled yet should be peeking left and right around corner,” another chimed in. Of course, anything could have changed since the leaks and Rockstar may have revamped the GTA 6 controls since then, but at least we have an idea of how the gameplay is being improved with VI ahead of the 2025 release.

GTA 6 fans disappointed as ‘leaked’ reveal date proven false – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans disappointed as ‘leaked’ reveal date proven false Rockstar GamesHopeful Grand Theft Auto fans have come up empty-handed after waiting patiently with anticipation for a supposed GTA 6 teaser that was apparently coming on March 25, but never did. Fans are now wondering if it was all a ruse, or if Rockstar have other plans. The first indication about a March 25 reveal surfaced on 4Chan, and although many passed it off as nonsense, GTA YouTuber MrBossFTW indicated that Red Dead Redemption 2’s reveal had in fact been correctly predicted on 4Chan too. The rumors then spread on a popular unofficial forum for Rockstar games, GTAForums, where an anonymous user claimed to know someone working for the developer, also corroborating March 25, as well as claiming there would be a return to Vice City. To really get the hype train going, an infamous user named ‘Gonnaenodaethat’ posted a series of claims on GTAForums about the March 25 reveal date. On the day of the supposed reveal, he wrote “3PM Scottish time” (a.k.a GMT). As a side, on March 23, a number of GTA 6 related websites were updated. For some very eager fans, this was just about all the confirmation they needed, as they were convinced March 25 would be the day that GTA VI would finally be unveiled. On Reddit and on GTAForums, fans congregated for the big reveal – but nothing came of it. As they voiced their disappointment, the forums actually crashed temporarily, presumably from the overload of traffic. And on Twitter too, the hype had started to build, but it was all in vain. Some accused the ‘Scottish leaker’ and the GTAForums website of deliberately playing up the fake rumors in a bid to get more attention to the forum itself. Unfortunately not, looks like the Scottish “leaker” was just looking to pull attention to GTAForums. I saw someone mentioning that the website was down and that they just wanted to pull in clicks for the new website change or something. Regardless I don’t care about GTA6 anymore — Nick (@uhNickz) March 25, 2020 Is GTA 6 real? Even though GTA V was released all the way back in 2013, there still hasn’t been a single official word about anything to do with a sequel, from either Rockstar or the publisher, Take-Two. Take-Two did say on their latest earnings call that games from their “biggest franchises” were in development, which many took to be GTA 6, but they never mentioned Grand Theft Auto specifically. Although these particular leaks and rumors about March 25 turned out to be false, there are countless others that are yet to be either proven or debunked. We’ve compiled what we think are the most believable GTA 6 leaks here. Who knows – maybe Rockstar really did have something planned for March 25, but the ongoing global health situation caused a delay. Or perhaps it all really was just faked for attention. Whatever the case, we’ll keep you up to date with the latest on Grand Theft Auto here on Dexerto.

GTA 6 fans demand return of single-player DLC like GTA 4 – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans demand return of single-player DLC like GTA 4 Rockstar GamesPlayers anxiously awaiting the reveal and release of GTA 6 are asking Rockstar return to releasing single-player DLC like they did for GTA 4. GTA 6 is one of the most most-anticipated games of all time and although Rockstar has remained mum on details surrounding the game, fans have gotten a slew of info through leaks. In addition to the franchise returning to Vice City, players also learned that the game will feature a duo of protagonists by the names of Lucia and Jason as well as countless other gameplay tidbits. Although the hype for the game is off the charts, players are hoping that Grand Theft Auto 6 doesn’t go a similar route as GTA 5 by scrapping single-player DLC – something fondly remembered about GTA 4. GTA fans want return of single-player DLC in GTA 6 Across Reddit and social media, players looked back at GTA 4 to celebrate its 15th Anniversary, and one component they praised was its single-player DLC. GTA 4 had two DLC packs released in the form of The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, both of which had nice-sized stories that connected with the base game. Although GTA 5 had DLC planned, those ideas were scrapped and instead repackaged as GTA Online content and fans don’t want the same thing to happen with GTA 6. “I feel like it would also be dope if Jason and Lucia also had their own story without each other as an expansion or maybe someone else that’s also included in their story together should have their own story,” one player wrote on Reddit. “I hope they add a DLC to story mode because I never have interest in anything online,” another commented. “If we are to get DLCs, I’d like one with the continuation of Tommy Vercetti. What happens to him and his empire after the events of Vice City,” suggested a fan of the original Vice City game on PS2. So far, Rockstar hasn’t confirmed any plans for DLC, but we’ll surely learn more once GTA VI is finally officially revealed, but reports have suggested that fans might be getting their wish in the form of cut content.

GTA 6 fans demand Rockstar stop “trolling” by posting VI-style logos – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans demand Rockstar stop “trolling” by posting VI-style logos Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans keep looking for hints from Rockstar Games about GTA 6, but all they’re finding is frustration. GTA 6 is easily one of, if not the most-anticipated game of all time. So far, all Rockstar has been quite mum on the subject, only stating that the game is in development and it must exceed player expectations. Despite not having any official trailers or content, fans have been combing through everything Rockstar posts on social media or adds to GTA games for clues on the next title and have come up mostly empty-handed, with a few exceptions. That changed on August 18 when Rockstar posted a video with a logo that, for some, looked an awful lot like the roman numerals VI. Sadly, this was not the case at all, prompting further anger from fans. GTA 6 fans are fed-up with Rockstar’s teasing The tweet from Rockstar Games revealed that the Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8 muscle car would be available in GTA Online and players seemed glued to the manufacturer’s logo. Imponte is based on General Motors’ Pontiac and its logo looks a bit like a VI, leading some fans to originally think Rockstar was teasing GTA 6. However, their hopes were dashed after learning the logo isn’t new and has existed for quite some time. Still, its timing and the logo’s similarities to VI made some accuse Rockstar of trolling. “Ok, they’re literally playing us like a fiddle. That was literally done on purpose,” a user commented on GTAForums. “Rockstar just playing with us. That’s always been the logo for the Imponte, they just highlighted it like that to have fun because they know we would react,” another wrote on Reddit. “Rockstar trollling,” said another. It’s not clear whether or not Rockstar really is trying to tease players or not, but as fans continued to wait for news on GTA 6, literally everything will be under a microscope.

GTA 6 fans demand Easter Egg for iconic GTA character – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans demand Easter Egg for iconic GTA character Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans are pretty convinced that an iconic character from the series will be referenced as an easter egg in GTA 6 by Rockstar as they’ve got a few ideas. When Rockstar Games finally released the long-awaited trailer and announcement for GTA 6, it confirmed what a lot of the long-standing leaks had claimed – the series would be headed back to Vice City. While the original Vice City game was just about based in the city, Grand Theft Auto 6 will take things a bit further state-wide, as we’ve had references to the wider Leonida area. Even though the new game will be set in a more modern setting than Vice City’s 80’s theme, players are still expecting a reference or two from the main protagonist of that game – Tommy Vercitti. It was a topic brought up by Redditor TopBee83, who wondered to what extent Rockstar will mention the Vice City kingpin. “We will get indirect references to the “Don of Vice-City’s dope trade back in the 80’s and 90’s”. Tommy was still the Don of VC in 1992 when his lawyer Ken called him in GTA SA’s Introduction short movie,” one player said. “I think there’ll be properties controlled/owned by his former gang, alongside a reference to him ala Niko,” another added. “There will be a roof that says you’re not supposed to be here and a chainsaw in a bathtub. Calling it now,” commented another. For the most part, players suggested that the only visual representation of Tommy would come through his iconic blue Hawaiian shirt and jeans being available to wear. “His shirt will appear. That’s it,” one replied. Vercitti was also voiced by Ray Liotta, who passed away in 2022, and fans would like an easter egg for the actor too. “I hope the only mention of Tommy is his name on a grave as a tribute to Ray Liotta,” another fan said. “One way I think they could pay tribute to the late Ray Liotta is through an Easter Egg with its own achievement,” suggested another.

GTA 6 fans convinced they’ve found big police change in leaks – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced they’ve found big police change in leaks Rockstar GamesGTA 6’s massive leak revealed several new features, but an underrated reveal is a possible change to the wanted system. On September 18, an earth-shattering GTA 6 leak revealed the game’s location, vehicles, characters, weapons, and more. Days later, London Police confirmed the arrest of a 17-year-old suspected of being involved in the hack, and they pleaded not guilty to computer misuse. The leak revealed over 90 videos and images, sending the community into a mad dash to break down every minute detail. With a rumored budget exceeding $2 billion, GTA 6 could be one of the biggest games of all time. Now, a GTA 6 fan discovered a potential overhaul to the wanted system, which could drastically change how players approach the game. GTA 6 fan reveals police timer Reddit user Nawnp shared, “From the leaked footage, there appears to be a timer associated with when the police will arrive on the scene.” They believe that a police response timer could make the wanted system more complex if the police respond differently to varying degrees of crime. For example, the police respond much quicker to a murder report than to a gas station robbery. However, this is all just speculation. One player responded, “I want them to make it like mafia 2 where the police in the area where you committed the crimes will remember what vehicle you were driving and what clothes you were wearing.” Another user added, “I hope the location of your crime matters too. Let’s say you’re a few blocks from a police station; the response time should be faster.” GTA Online is known for its immersion and attention to detail, so GTA 6 players’ expectations are sky high for what Rockstar has up its sleeves this time around.

GTA 6 fans believe they’ve already found the ending – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans believe they’ve already found the ending Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are convinced they’ve already found part of the game’s ending, as it looks like Rockstar is going to use a character element that has been a staple of their games. For the longest time, Rockstar Games and Take-Two held their cards right up to their chest with regards to GTA 6. They, for a while, wouldn’t even confirm if that was going to be the name – only that they were cooking up another installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Fast forward to 2024, and we’ve already had the game’s first trailer, which introduced us to Jason and Lucia, as well as the state of Leonida, and a modern-day version of Vice City. With Rockstar not releasing the game until 2025, and not yet announcing when a second trailer will release, fans have been left to search for their own clues. And it looks like they’ve found one that will likely spell bad news for Jason. GTA 6 fans convinced they know what happens to Jason already Going over screenshots from the trailer again, Redditor jericho681 noted that Jason has a scar on the left side of his face, which is eerily similar to Red Dead Redemption favorites Arthur Morgan and John Martson. If you haven’t played the Red Dead Redemption games – well, why? – the spoiler alert here is that both the male protagonists ultimately die at the end, and GTA fans believe Jason will suffer a similar fate now. “I do have a feeling he or Lucia will die at the end,” one said. “One of the endings will surely be like the death of Bonnie & Clyde,” added another. “Honestly I have a feeling that the ending will be similar to RDR2. We will get to choose a side and a trust system will affect the final choice as well,” commented another. Other fans pointed out that it isn’t just something Rockstar has done for the RDR series either, as GTA characters like Trevor and Johnny Klebitz have had similar facial features. Of course, you had the option to keep Trevor alive in GTA V, but Johnny was brutally stamped to death by him when we were first introduced to Trevor. So, let’s hope things go better for Jason in GTA 6.

GTA 6 fans convinced they’ve discovered song for next trailer – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced they’ve discovered song for next trailer Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto 6 fans believe they may have found the song that’ll be used in the next trailer for the game as they eagerly await. The world finally got a first look at the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, after the long-awaited GTA 6 trailer released in December, 2023. Fans have since analyzed each and every frame of the minute-and-a-half-long trailer, hoping to any spot clues or easter eggs as to what’s in store ahead of the game’s 2025 release. However, while many anticipate the game’s next trailer, GTA fans are now convinced they may know what song will be used, all thanks to Spotify. GTA fans believe they’ve found next trailer song On February 24, fans noticed that the cover of the late 70s pop hit “Ring My Bell” by Anita Ward on Spotify was changed to the Grand Theft Auto 6’s logo. Furthermore, the artist’s cover photo on the music-streaming platform was also changed to the game’s artwork to match. This has led many to believe that the song could be used in the next trailer for the game. However, as one fan pointed out, the song was also used in GTA San Andreas, and Rockstar typically doesn’t reuse music they’ve already featured in their games. With that said, there’s a possibility that the song could still be used on the in-game radio, or perhaps another one of Ward’s hits. Regardless, it appears fans would be on board with the 70s pop song being used in some way or another. Eagle-eyed GTA fans believe Rockstar has hinted at the next trailer releasing sometime between June and October 2024. But, we’ll just have to wait and see.

GTA 6 fans convinced Rockstar is “trolling” with another subtle hint – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced Rockstar is “trolling” with another subtle hint Rockstar GamesSome eagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto fans are convinced that Rockstar dropped another GTA 6 teaser in the new Halloween update. However, not everyone is sold on it. Getting a reveal for Grand Theft Auto 6, never mind a release date, has been on the top of many gamers’ wishlists for well over five years now, and they’ve been in overdrive over the last few months. Given that some reliable insiders have said that a GTA 6 reveal will take place before the end of the year, the clock is ticking for that to be proven true. As of now, Rockstar Games have remained somewhat silent in regards to an announcement, only confirming that the videos of gameplay leaks from 2022 are, indeed, real. So, naturally, some have taken the tiniest things and ran with them – even if it is the most tenuous link to a tease that you’ve seen. GTA 6 fans claim Rockstar is hinting at it again with Halloween update The new Halloween update for GTA Online has, if you believe some players, a number of hints about GTA 6. It first started when Rockstar revealed a new t-shirt in-game, as they’d cropped part of the Vinewood sign to only show the VI part. Well, that’s happened again. On their updated GTA+ rewards page, there is an image to advertise free taxi rides and fast travel for GTA+ members. The Vinewood sign can be seen in the background once again, but this time you can only see the first five letters – spelling out VI new. Some players have taken that to be a message about GTA 6. “The fact they can’t include the whole sign twice is well… interesting to say the least,” said one intrigued fan. “They’re just trolling us,” another said. “Definitely not a coincidence. They could have posted a photo from anywhere on the map, they’re hinting 100%,” added another. Other fans pointed out that it’s simply the Vinewood sign and that some are going too deep into things to try and get a GTA 6 tease. “That’s a stretch,” argued one. “They know what they’re doing,” another agreed. It does feel like a little bit of a reach to suggest it’s a tease and it is most likely someone being a bit mischievous at Rockstar.

GTA 6 fans convinced reveal is imminent after “disappointing” RDR announcement – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced reveal is imminent after “disappointing” RDR announcement Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans are convinced that Rockstar are in the “final stretch” when it comes to a GTA 6 announcement after their lackluster reveal of Red Dead Redemption on Switch and PS4. After Rockstar Games and Take-Two confirmed that GTA 6 was in the works back in February 2022, many fans got excited for the potential announcements that would follow. However, they’ve been pretty quiet since. Sure, a whole host of leaks have gotten out there, but beyond one Rockstar newswire response, that’s all the devs have said on the matter. Instead, they’ve been plowing on with updates to GTA Online, Red Dead Online, and even a new port for the classic Red Dead Redemption. Many long-time RDR fans were hopeful that it’d be a next-gen remaster, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, Rockstar announced a PS4 and Nintendo Switch port for the game. However, some GTA fans are now convinced that will turn out to be good news for GTA 6. GTA fans convinced GTA 6 announcement is around the corner There have been a few rumors that an announcement for GTA 6 will happen before the year is out, and the RDR port reveal has added to that. I think the fact that it’s nothing more than a port to two consoles means we have nothing to fear about a potential announcement of GTA 6 this year,” commented one Redditor. “If this had have been a full remake to RDR2-quality, then I think we’d be s*it out of luck, because that would no doubt be a major marketing thing for Rockstar going forward.” “I truly believe we are in the final stretch of waiting!” said one fan. “Proof that gta6 trailer will drop at RANDOM,” another fan added. “I’m glad it’s not a remake or remaster. Full steam ahead to GTA VI,” said another. Other fans pointed to the fact that when Rockstar was facing backlash for the issues around the GTA Definitive Edition remakes, they finally dropped the news about GTA 6 being in the works. “Rockstar gotta be disappointing fans intentionally to get ready for GTA 6 announcement,” added one. It remains to be seen if Rockstar will, in fact, reveal any news about GTA 6 anytime soon. The 10-year anniversary for GTA 5 rolls around on September 17, so maybe that’ll hold a few answers.

GTA 6 fans convinced an official reveal is imminent following leaks and hints – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced an official reveal is imminent following leaks and hints Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are hopeful that the long-awaited official reveal of the game could finally be announced within the next month – and there are a lot of reasons to believe Rockstar has something planned. Rockstar’s recent hack may have taken some of the hype away from GTA 6’s official reveal after leaked development footage appearing online, but fans are still eager to see what the developer has in store. As speculation grows, with leaks from insiders and some very interesting coincidental evidence mounting, fans believe GTA 6 could finally be revealed in either late October or early November. Here are the three big reasons why GTA fans think that the game is finally going to be announced soon. GTA 6 fans think a Rockstar announcement is coming soon The big thing that players have on their minds are recent comments made by insider Tez2, a reliable source for all things Rockstar Games-related. Tez2 claimed that the mystery behind a UFO photo taken from an unknown game found in GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition could finally be solved soon during a GTA Online Halloween event. The photo, discovered last year, is believed to be the first official screenshot of GTA 6, and according to Tez2, the UFOs invading GTA Online could all be leading up to a big reveal. Furthermore, as we know from the leaks, the next installment in the GTA franchise will see a return to Vice City. The original Vice City will have its 20th anniversary on October 29, and what better time to celebrate than with an announcement? Additionally, as noted by YouTuber LegacyKilla, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, is holding its next investor call on November 7th. “Based on history, if there is going to be a GTA 6 reveal in 2022, it’ll come before this call. Keep your eyes out for late October/early November,” the YouTuber said. We’ll have to wait and see if GTA 6 actually does get officially announced soon, but with all this speculation intensifying, signs are pointing to at least something happening in the weeks ahead.

GTA 6 fans convinced GTA Online Cluckin’ Bell heist has new gameplay feature – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans convinced GTA Online Cluckin’ Bell heist has new gameplay feature Rockstar GamesExpectant GTA 6 fans believe that they’ve found more hints about the new game in the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid update for GTA Online, as that appears to have teased some new features. For the longest time, Grand Theft Auto fans just wanted Rockstar to acknowledge that GTA 6 was real and was in the works. It took a while, especially after some big leaks, but they finally dropped a trailer for the long-awaited game at the end of 2023. Things have gone a little quiet since the confirmation that we’ll be playing the story of Lucia and Jason, and returning to Vice City, but Rockstar does seem to be gearing up for the release. They’ve, controversially, urged developers to return to office working on a permanent basis. Despite the focus on GTA 6, they have still managed to drop some big updates for GTA Online too. The most recent of which, the Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid, is the game’s first heist since Cayo Perico – and it’s got fans excited in a big way. GTA Online’s Cluckin’ Bell heist has fans hopeful for GTA 6 Like other GTA Online heists, you have the ability to go in sneakily or all guns blazing, depending on your setup method. Yet, it’s ever so slightly different from the previous missions given the penultimate setup mission holds the key. That was something Redditor Notice360 picked up on as a potential hint for a GTA 6 feature. “This might be implemented in 6, as the missions will likely be branched much like some of RDR2’s missions (Money Lending and other Sins, Course of True Love, etc.). We might end up having more freedom in how we do the missions and the possibilities might end up becoming endless,” they said. “I think we’re seeing a lot of GTA 6 with these past few updates. Gameplay and obviously the car exteriors/customization,” agreed one fan. “A lot of the newer GTAO update missions have that kind of basic freedom in approach which gives me hope for GTA 6,” another added. “Yes. A lot of the Cluckin’ Bell raid felt like it was a taste of what’s to come with GTA 6. The freedoms within setups, driving the train, and any new mechanics are suspect,” another chimed in. Obviously, this can’t be confirmed until we actually see some finished GTA 6 gameplay, but players are convinced anyway.

GTA 6 fans concerned for game following major Rockstar leak – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans concerned for game following major Rockstar leak Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans were blindsided after large portions of the game appeared online in arguably the most significant leak in gaming history. It’s no exaggeration to say that Grand Theft Auto 6 is the most anticipated video game of the last decade. While developer Rockstar Games have been taking their time with the sixth main installment in the series, they ran the risk of leaks hitting the net revealing the game’s gameplay, settings, and characters like every other gaming company. Now, that nightmare for the devs has become a reality as tons of footage of the game has circulated the internet, leaving GTA fans both shocked and worried for the future of the game. GTA 6 fans worried after leaked footage circulates After the GTA 6 leaked videos began popping up around the internet like wildfire, reactions to the monumental news came with it. Gaming insider Jason Schreier verified the legitimacy of the leaked footage and called it “one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games.” Popular YouTuber TheActMan was most angry at the leak for the fallout it will have on he GTA YouTube community. He said, “YouTubers that have been making GTA 6 Clickbait videos for the last decade are about to make YouTube a hellhole.” Other GTA fans were worried the footage doesn’t look like a “real” Grand Theft Auto game. One user said, “This literally looks like an off-brand of Watch Dogs 2, ain’t no way this is real. Even for early alpha footage, this looks bad.” However, that is exactly what the leaks are – an alpha test very early in development. It’s very hard to say whether the gameplay leaks are “good” or not considering the final product won’t be here for many years down the line. Another social media user responded to the claim the game looks bad and noted, “This is pretty far along for an alpha. Typically with an alpha build, the game wouldn’t already be this complex with voiced lines, animations for removing cash from the register, etc.” As with anything GTA 6-related, there is going to be back and further from fans of the series arguing over every little thing that came from the leaks.

GTA 6 fans concerned about Rockstar’s silence on one big thing despite release being on track – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans concerned about Rockstar’s silence on one big thing despite release being on track Rockstar GamesEven though Take-Two has confirmed that GTA 6 is still on schedule to release in Fall 2025, Grand Theft Auto fans have one big worry about it. Up until December 2023, Grand Theft Auto 6 was a pretty closely guarded secret with Rockstar Games and their publishers Take-Two. Sure, there was a massive set of leaks in September 2022, but official information was kept to a minimum. Since revealing the first trailer back in December, Rockstar has gone silent again. Players are convinced that they’ve been leaving hints in GTA Online, but they’ve not said a word. Instead, that’s been left to Take-Two. Most recently, in their August 8 shareholder call, Rockstar’s publishers confirmed that GTA 6 is still on track for release in Fall 2025. However, despite the reassuring news, some players have got one big worry about that – and it’s about the PC release. “It’s so sad that every game on this list other than GTA 6 is launching with a PC release….,” one fan pointed out. “It’s gonna be hard to steer around the spoilers waiting for the PC release. Might even be so weak as to buy a damn console on release day,” commented another. “Yes…but… Still no PC…too bad they won’t add PC for the same date,” another added. Others argued that delaying the PC release has been Rockstar’s MO for a while, and they’re not going to change. “They’ve had so much time, I’m not buying it twice and everyone I know said they aren’t buying it twice. If they want to make us wait a year it’s whatever,” one annoyed PC fan fired back. On top of the wait for the PC release, GTA fans are also urging the devs to get a move on and drop some screenshots. “Give us some screenshots hello,” another added. We’re at the mercy of Rockstar on the screenshots and trailer front. So, we’ll just have to wait a little longer.

GTA 6 fans believe trailer 2 is delayed because of Sony & PS5 Pro – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans believe trailer 2 is delayed because of Sony & PS5 Pro YouTube/DELTA/Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans believe that Sony could be the reason why there hasn’t been a second trailer yet as they’re all on tenterhooks for new information. When Rockstar Games finally revealed the first official look at GTA 6 at the end of 2023, the internet was abuzz. The first trailer quickly started smashing viewing records and stuck around as a trending topic for days on end. Fast forward a few months and, well, Rockstar have been quiet. They’ve gone back to office working on the new Grand Theft Auto title, much to the annoyance of some developers. Yet, haven’t put out any further updates or reveals. That has led some fans to speculate as to when they might get a follow-up trailer and in-game screenshots. The most popular theory has suggested that October might hold the key. However, some fans are now convinced that nothing will happen until Sony reveals their PS5 Pro console. It was something put out there by creator VideoTechUK, who specializes in Rockstar Games content. “I have a big feeling Rockstar is holding out for Sony to reveal the console so they can include ‘captured on PS5 Pro’ in the next trailer,” he said. He also added that he believes Sony has a marketing deal for GTA 6 too. “I thought the exact same thing recently when R* didn’t add any information about GTA 6 at the T2 financial meeting,” one fan agreed. “This is a pretty good point I hadn’t considered,” another added. “I believe it,” another chimed in. When it comes to Sony’s apparent marketing deal with Rockstar, some pointed out that was in place back in 2020. “Sony already confirmed at the 2020 Showcase that they would have a partnership with Rockstar for the generation, starting with GTA 5 expanded,” one added. There have been rumors that the PlayStation team will have a State of Play event towards the end of September. Perhaps that will provide some answers for GTA 6 fans.

GTA 6 fans blown away after “surreal” first look at Vice City map – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans blown away after “surreal” first look at Vice City map Rockstar Games, Reddit:Ralle_ManAmid the breach within Rockstar Games, leaks of GTA 6’s Vice City map have already impressed fans as they praise the fresh iteration of the classic location. On September 18, a vast array of internal Rockstar Games development material was leaked to the internet, showcasing over 90 videos of early GTA 6 footage. While the game is reportedly years away from releasing, it appears that the leaker may have more material to release. Not only did these videos display new mechanics, but they also confirmed that the open-world title will be situated in Vice City. With the game taking players back to the tropical city, many are already in awe of the revamped map. Vice City map is a hit with GTA 6 fans With GTA 4 and 5 debuting rebooted versions of Liberty City and San Andreas respectively, GTA 6’s expanded version of the Miami-inspired location has fans already overwhelmed by its potential. Over on the GTA subreddit, fans such as MickeyHamfistsLC have praised early looks at Vice City: “Really puts into perspective how far we’ve come in graphics considering the leak is from Alpha testing.” Another avid fan, ActualSunday, shared his positive response, explaining that it “honestly feels surreal to see a post like this.” Despite this glimpse of the map coming from an early build of the game, others have been quick to note Rockstar’s technical prowess: “The lighting looks beautiful. This is a 2019 build and it looks phenomenal. Has that volume, dispersion, atmospheric ‘glow’ from humid air, etc.” While the leaks have only shown a limited amount of recognizable Vice City landmarks, players have been hoping that a rebooted version would appear after Liberty City and San Andreas received the same treatment in previous games. Another fan, CurryIsBae, echoed their passion: “Bro if that GTA 6 Clip is from 2 years ago, we’re in for a treat, it’s gonna be the best thing ever.” Be sure to keep updated with all of the latest GTA 6 news, as more details develop.

GTA 6 fans believe Super Bowl 55 could have a reveal after Vice City teasers – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans believe Super Bowl 55 could have a reveal after Vice City teasers Rockstar/WikiMedia CommonsGrand Theft Auto fans are hopeful that Super Bowl 55 could have some answers about GTA 6, given that Super Bowl 54 seemingly had teasers a year ago. Despite complete silence from Rockstar Games, there is no bigger question in gaming right now than ‘when will we finally get our hands on GTA 6?’ There has been all manner of rumors, leaks, and teasers in the last few years, with players digging through Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption, and even Rockstar Games’ trademarks for possible clues. All signs have pointed towards a return to Vice City after last year, at Super Bowl 54, a number of the television crews broadcasting the game used Vice City graphics and references. Now, with Super Bowl 55 on the horizon, GTA fans are hoping for more of the same. With Super Bowl 54, it was a little easier to make the Vice City references, given that the game was played in Miami – the city that the iconic GTA location is based on. In the case of Super Bowl 55, though, players are hoping that, because The Weeknd is performing at the Half Time show on February 7, there might be more clues – given that there have been rumors he’s been working with Rockstar. “I could see a 15-30 second commercial of a car starting up or a cinematic shot of whatever city the game takes place in followed by the Rockstar and GTA VI Logo being a VERY SLIGHT possibility,” said Redditor ItsTreDay, noting that a game announcement would be enough – nevermind gameplay or anything else. Others quickly agreed. “They couldn’t ask for a better announcement opportunity,” said one fan. “Fingers crossed. Wish we get some info from them. Even if it was just a logo,” added another. Read More: What is GTA V roleplay? – However, some aren’t convinced, questioning why Rockstar would need to spend money on advertising at the Super Bowl. In recent years, 30-second ad spots at the Super Bowl have commanded around $5.6 million. Rockstar knows how much hype there is about GTA 6, and whenever they decide to tease it, or start to roll out a reveal, it’s going to get serious attention anyway. But, we’ll just have to wait and see – they could switch things up for once.

GTA 6 fans are literally quitting smoking to survive for the release – Dexerto
GTA 6 fans are literally quitting smoking to survive for the release GTA Mods: TI-CouneGTA 6 fans are so hyped for the release of Rockstar Games’ long-awaited title that they’re quitting smoking to ensure they’re around to see it. For the longest time, Rockstar Games and their publisher, Take-Two, had been ultra silent about GTA 6. They wouldn’t engage in rumor, speculation, or give in to fans’ calls for any small spec or information. However, that has now changed. Rockstar have confirmed that, at long last, fans will get their first official glimpse – not just leaked videos – of the next Grand Theft Auto game in early December as they release the first trailer. That trailer is likely to give us an indication as to when the game releases too, as we still don’t have a confirmed release date. So, some fans are taking it upon themselves to change their lives so they’re still around it. GTA fans are quitting smoking just for GTA 6 Yes, that’s right, even though we’ve already waited 10 years for a new GTA game, that wait is going to drag a little longer. So, some longtime fans are quitting smoking to make sure they see the game’s release. “I am so hyped for GTA 6, the thought of being in hospital or on heavy medication as a result of cigarettes has got me to quit cold turkey,” said one fan. That prompted others to share similar stories. “I’ve had similar thoughts. A lot can change in the year or so GTA 6 will take to release. may we all be in good health to see it through!” said one. “Rockstar has given people the will to live,” another fan chimed in. “Been thinking about quitting too, thanks bro!” added another. Some fans were just blown away by how a game – which isn’t even close to being out yet – could prompt such big life changes. “It’s actually amazing that this game got so much hype it can make people quit smoking because no one wants to miss out on this game haha,” another said.

GTA 6 fans are already modding main character Lucia into other games Rockstar GamesFans of the Grand Theft Auto series are not wasting any time by modding the protagonist of the upcoming GTA 6 into previous games. The GTA 6 trailer dropped just a few days ago, sparking a ton of hype online and among the series’ fanbase. While the game won’t be releasing until 2025, the trailer still stoked those flames of anticipation. As they prepare for the long wait, fans are looking for ways to bide their time until GTA 6 drops. In order to cope with the wait, they have taken to modding the protagonist of the next Grand Theft Auto game into other entries in the series and even some other classic games. GTA 6 fans are modding Lucia into other games Fans of the GTA series have taken to the popular modding website, Nexus Mods, to show off all the different ways they have inserted Lucia into other games. Nexus Mods user, sergiovandykmods, has created a mod to put Lucia into both Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. But it doesn’t just stop at the games in the series; there are also fans modding Lucia into other games. Nexus Mods user, huckpie, uploaded their mod that will put Lucia into Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. This mod also gives Lucia a fun backstory for why she is in the game, saying that she spent the long wait for GTA 6 learning how to skateboard. The wait has been a long one, having spanned 12 years once Grand Theft Auto 6 releases. But the finish line is in sight, as long as Rockstar doesn’t delay the game, as they’ve done before.

Rockstar’s sneaky website update has GTA 6 fans predicting imminent release date reveal Rockstar GamesRockstar Games could finally be ready to unveil more of GTA 6 months after dropping the first trailer in December 2023, with now deleted changes to their website teases more is on the way soon. Ever since Rockstar officially confirmed the franchise would be returning to Vice City with the record-breaking GTA 6 trailer, fans have been eager to hear more about the game and new features planned for it. For the past few months, Rockstar has gone quiet. However, the company has made some development updates behind the scenes such as having employees return to the office for productivity and security reasons. Now, we might be getting more details about GTA 6 as players and fans spotted a series of changes on the Rockstar website pointing to an imminent update. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to nap proof of the changes, sharing them across social media. The GTA 6 Countdown X account shared a photo of the previously updated website, wherein the devs updated the GTA 6 section to include placeholders for 4 screenshots, cover art, platforms, and even the release date. Others noted that Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has its quarterly earnings call scheduled for May 16, so news about GTA 6 could go live around that time. One GTA fan commenting on X, “Even if Rockstar doesn’t make an announcement, Take-Two will talk about the revenue they expect in the next fiscal year on May 16th which will give us an estimate on when the game launches.” Of course, like all things Grand Theft Auto, take this with a grain of salt until we hear anything official, but this is by far the most excited the community has been ever since the announcement of the first trailer.

GTA 6 fan tries to make their own trailer with Google Maps but instantly backfires Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto fan has tried to act as if they’re going to be in GTA 6 using Google Maps, but it completely backfired on them as other players stepped in to roast their attempt. At the end of 2023, Rockstar Games finally revealed the first trailer for GTA 6, answering some of the longest-standing questions that the gaming world had. We got some good looks at the updated Vice City, and got more insight into Lucia and Jason’s story. Since that trailer was revealed, fans have been desperate for more. Some have tried to decode when we might see something else from Rockstar, while some have been using other games to try and recreate the first glimpses of GTA 6. Well, in the case of one TikToker – GoogleMapsFun – they uploaded a video of a few GTA fans trying to make their own version of GTA 6 screenshots and, well, the internet has been pretty brutal about it. GTA 6 fan roasted over viral TikTok The TikToker’s clip has gone viral with over 3.5 million views, showing three males in Florida trying to act like NPCs in the new GTA by striking a pose as the Google Maps car drives by. They use Love Is A Long Road, the Tom Petty song from the GTA 6 trailer, and have the classic Grand Theft Auto transition between locations. However, their fellow GTA fans have left some mean roasts on their attempt at a fun clip. “Bro looks NOTHING like GTA 6,” said one. “We got GTA 6 before this video ended,” another said. “More like, we posed on camera and we are saying GTA to get views,” Other viewers joked that the TikToker had given away his home address just for the purposes of the video and that they’d be descending on his house for a party. And no, not a release party for GTA 6, given that there is still a long wait for that as Rockstar have confirmed it will launch at some point in 2025.

GTA 6 fan theories shut down as iconic actor confirms he’s not Jason – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan theories shut down as iconic actor confirms he’s not Jason Take-Two InteractiveVoice actor Troy Baker has shut down GTA 6 fan theories that he is the man behind Jason in Rockstar Games’ long-awaited title. For years, Rockstar Games kept things very close to their chest regarding Grand Theft Auto 6, only stepping up to confirm that the game was in production. Though, that has changed over the last few months. At the end of 2023, we finally got our first official glimpse at what they have in store with GTA 6, as a trailer was revealed. This trailer confirmed previous leaks that we’d be heading back to Vice City and playing as Jason and Lucia in a Bonnie and Clyde-esque story. When it comes to the voice actors behind the two protagonists, things have been quiet there, leaving fans to try and figure out who they might be. That’s led to some wrong guesses in the past, especially for the part of Lucia, and now attention has switched to Jason. Jason actually only says one word in the trailer – trust – and sounds enough like Troy Baker, the voice behind some of gaming’s most iconic characters, including Joel in The Last of Us and Booker from Fallout Infinite. However, Baker has shut down those claims. “That right there is a lesson in perception. So, people think and they just automatically assume. I want that guy, whoever it is, to get credit for his work, because I’m sure it’s going to be great,” he said on the Movie Dweeb podcast. “And I know many people who worked for Rockstar, Roger Clark, Ned Luke included, that, you know, that’s a grind, man. Those guys pour themselves into those characters, and they deserve all of the credit for their work, not me.” We’re still waiting on Rockstar to release a second trailer for GTA 6, which some fans believe could come this summer. Others, however, believe they’ll be waiting until at least September for it. We’ll just have to wait and see who plays a role in GTA 6, but we know once those credits roll, we won’t be seeing Troy Baker’s name there.

GTA 6 fan reimagines trailer for Switch port using PlayStation 1 graphics Reddit: u/PREACHSSGTA 6 fans have recreated the new announcement trailer using old-school PlayStation graphics and jokes that this is what the upcoming game would look like on the Nintendo Switch. Since developer Rockstar dropped the first trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6, the gaming industry has been flooding the internet with theories, videos, and more about the upcoming installment in the beloved franchise. The new trailer broke the record for the most views of any video game launch trailer on YouTube, spurring the hype for GTA 6 in the process. While many have been focusing on the positives from the trailer, including the impressive visuals and scope of the map, others have taken a different approach. YouTube channel Jushton created the trailer in old-school PlayStation 1 graphics, with Reddit user then reposting the trailer and jokingly stating that this is what the Nintendo Switch port would look and run like. The post, which has over 150 comments, is flooded with players furthering the meme. One Redditor wrote “locked at 24 fps” while another added, “Nintendo fans would rave about it and it’d win multiple GOTY awards.” Another GTA fan also commented, “You’re being very generous. This trailer was way to smooth and without a single screen tear or frame drop.” Since the Nintendo Switch launched, gamers have been poking fun at the console for how many ported versions of popular triple AAA titles run on the platform. The latest game to receive this treatment, Hogwarts: Legacy, slammed by fans for no longer being an open-world game, with Nintendo opting to section off each area to ensure the game was able to be optimized for the Switch. At the time of writing, GTA 6 has not been announced for the Nintendo Switch in any capacity. However, it has been confirmed to be launching on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. GTA 6 fan storms Gamescom stage demanding Rockstar release the game – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan storms Gamescom stage demanding Rockstar release the game GamescomGTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games ever, with the hotly anticipated title slated as a follow up to one of the best-selling games of all time in GTA 5. A Rockstar fan stormed the Gamescom stage demanding a release date for the game. Every big industry game reveal panel since the GTA 6 leaks has had fans begging for release date on the hotly anticipated title, but Rockstar hasn’t budged when it comes to giving more information. Considering how successful GTA 5 has been over the years, it’s no surprise that people are waiting for more news on the title. However, some fans have gone a bit too far in showing their passion for the title. A fan of the game went as far as to rush the stage at Gamescom while host Geoff Keighley was speaking, demanding a release date for GTA 6. GTA 6 fan rushes stage at Gamescom demanding update on title Geoff Keighley is no stranger to having bizarre interactions with fans on stage. Getting ambushed by a man that’s since gone viral while presenting the Game of the Year award to Elden Ring developer FromSoftware comes to mind as a big moment. However, someone in attendance at Gamescom rushed the stage in an attempt to replicate that moment and make his devotion to the GTA series clear. He stepped right next to Keighley, attempting to scream into the mic. Thought it was hard to make out what he was saying, it’s clear he demanded news on GTA 6. “Bill Clinton wants to play GTA 6!” he screamed repeatedly, replicating the meme Matan started at The Game Awards. Geoff addressed the man rushing the stage a short time after he was escorted away, and had this to say to both him and anyone trying to replicate this sort of behavior. “This is so disappointing. This is such a special night for so many developers and it’s really disappointing to see someone act that way.”

GTA 6 fan recreates trailer in Minecraft – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan recreates trailer in Minecraft YouTube: EvilGameGTA 6 isn’t coming until 2025, and fans are getting restless waiting for new content. One fan took the time to recreate the reveal trailer in Minecraft, with the result rather impressive. It feels like eons ago, but after a massive leak in 2022 and a series of leaks before the reveal, Rockstar finally lifted the lid and showed the world GTA 6 in early December. While the trailer didn’t show any gameplay, it racked up an otherwordly viewer count, an impressive display of how far the series reaches. Since then, it’s been radio silent, and rightfully so since GTA 6 is still a little under two years away, Rockstar is holding all the cards, barring more catastrophic leaks. That hasn’t stopped fans from spending hours combing over the trailer for an ounce of new content while others have recreated it in various ways. A new recreation of the trailer has gone live, this time calling on the power of Minecraft. GTA 6 official trailer recreated in Minecraft YouTube creator EvilGame shared their creation to their account, and it’s amazing how well the recreation is. Everything perfectly matches, at least the best it can with Minecraft’s style, as scenic shots showed off the Florida Joker, the mud-girl, and more. The YouTube comments loved the recreation, as plenty of praise was given to EvilGame for taking the time to recreate the full trailer. GTA 6 subreddit users caught the trailer and shared it to the platform, with the reactions echoing the YouTube comments, albeit a little bit funnier. “The thought……the time devoted…….my guy you are a serial killer,” one reply eerily replied. Another felt the same and bluntly stated: “Where do people find the time to do this sh*t?” Of course, videos like these open up the floodgates for hardware jokes, and there was no shortage of those. “Damn didn’t know the Switch was getting a version,” while another said: “This is how the graphics are going to look like on my Asus work laptop.” Along with that, the timeless GTA 6 release joke made an appearance: “We really got GTA 6 in Minecraft before GTA 6.” Impressive feat nonetheless, but be sure the Florida Joker doesn’t see this, or else his demands are going to reach GTA Online bank account levels of absurdity.

GTA 6 fan perfectly recreates first trailer in Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt RED/Rockstar GamesA GTA 6 fan has now recreated the first game trailer in Cyberpunk 2077 and it looks magnificent. Here’s how other players reacted. The hype around Rockstar Games’ upcoming game GTA 6 is still roaring as players cannot wait for the game to drop until 2025. Even though the ongoing GTA 5 continues to get online DLCs and updates, the much-awaited GTA 6 is claimed to break all gaming and sales records to date due to the franchise’s massive popularity. Since the release of the first GTA 6 trailer, fans have been going wild with their theories while spotting easter eggs throughout the reveal. However, some are recreating several versions of the trailer across different games such as Minecraft, GTA V, and more. Now a similar fan has perfectly recreated the GTA 6 trailer in Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s how it looks. GTA 6 trailer gets a perfect Cyberpunk 2077 recreation A GTA 6 fan called pyro_lc recreated the game’s first trailer in Cyberpunk 2077 where they replace Lucia with Panam going through her life in the dystopian Night City. The trailer shows various characters as replacements to their GTA counterparts. For instance, Hanako Arasaka is shown instead of the bikini lady, a male version of V as Lucia’s partner (in this case Panam), and a Maelstrom as the viral hammer lady. It also features car chases around night city and also a glimpse of Heywood’s choom Jackie Welles. The trailer recreation has since gone viral with some players comparing graphics between the two games. One such fan said, “CDPR can only dream of making a game like GTA 6 or even GTA 5. This trailer proves how ahead of time Rockstar can be.” Another chimed in, “This game literally has a female version of the protagonist why are they using Panam?” A third added, “This makes Cyberpunk look so much better.” While there are several leaks surrounding GTA 6, we’ll keep you updated with any official news about the game right here at Dexerto.

GTA 6 fan goes viral for predicting release all the way back in 2013 – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan goes viral for predicting release all the way back in 2013 Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto fan has gone viral across social media for predicting GTA 6’s release window all the way back in 2013. Grand Theft Auto developers Rockstar Games were left to scramble on late December 4 after the GTA 6 trailer was leaked online earlier than its planned release. Still, the video has broken a YouTube record in a matter of hours, as fans have finally gotten their long-awaited first look at the next title in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Although some are disappointed by Rockstar’s planned 2025 release window for GTA 6, one fan predicted it just a few months after GTA 5’s initial launch over a decade ago. GTA 6 fan predicted release date just months after GTA 5 launch It’s fair to say nobody expected it would take Rockstar this long to release the next game in the GTA franchise never mind reveal it — especially given the amount of time in between prior releases. However, in a post on December 10, 2013, Twitter/X user ‘Kamrada_13’ predicted that the next Grand Theft Auto title wouldn’t be released until 2025. “I bet GTA 6 doesn’t come out till like 2025,” they wrote. At the time in 2013, it was a very bold guess to make, given how many expected the game to release in the late 2010s. It’s fair to say the tweet has got many freaking out. “When is GTA 7 dropping?” one user jokingly replied. “Lottery numbers now please,” said another. Other asked when their NFL team would win the Super Bowl, or if Messi will help Argentina win the 2024 Copa American. While the exact release date remains unknown, ‘Trailer 1’ confirmed that GTA 6 is “coming 2025″ to PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S. Although a release on PC platforms remains unclear.

GTA 6 fan divides opinions after finding apparent second trailer clue – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan divides opinions after finding apparent second trailer clue Rockstar GamesA GTA 6 fan is convinced they’ve found a hint as to when Rockstar will show off the next trailer, but some fans aren’t buying it whatsoever. For the longest time, Rockstar Games held Grand Theft Auto 6 as the closest guarded secret in the gaming world. Sure, some leaks got out there, but Rockstar would not get drawn into talking too much about them or revealing much information. That all changed in early December 2023, though, when they finally showed off the first teaser trailer for the long-awaited game. We know it’s definitely going to be called GTA 6, we’re going back to Vice City, and playing as Lucia and Jason. Naturally, players are excited for more – especially given they’d waited 10 years for that teaser. Well, one excited fan believes they’ve cracked the code on when we’ll see more of the game. GTA 6 fan convinced they’ve found second trailer clue but not everyone is sold Redditor 27guy noted that in the trailer image where Jason and Lucia are sat on a car, there are a number of bullet holes in the door to their left. That, 27Guy, has translated to morse code to possibly decipher a clue. The excited fan believes that the bullet holes correspond to the message – 1/9/more – and would lead to a second trailer in September next year. Some fans are on board with the theory, but that doesn’t go for everyone. “What the most waited game does to a man,” said one. “My man you are way too deep in this hole,” another added. “This is well past absurd lmfao,” commented another. Other fans noted that Rockstar can be rather cryptic when they want to be, with a few pointing to the ‘One day will reveal all’ t-shirt that they added to GTA online a few months ago. The devs have already confirmed that they’ll release GTA 6 at some point in 2025, so a long wait for another trailer shouldn’t be out of the question. We’ll just have to wait and see.

GTA 6 fan convinced next trailer date is hiding in plain sight – Dexerto
GTA 6 fan convinced next trailer date is hiding in plain sight Rockstar GamesAn excited GTA 6 fan is convinced that a hint for the next trailer has been hiding in plain sight thanks to a set of birds – seriously. However, some fans aren’t buying it. Towards the end of 2023, Rockstar Games finally gave the gaming world what they’d wanted for years – their first look at Grand Theft Auto 6 and confirmed some of the rumors that had been going around for quite some time. The highly-anticipated title, which is set to release in 2025, will take us back to a modern Vice City and put us in the shoes of Lucia and Jason, in what appears to be a Bonnie and Clyde-esque story. While Rockstar has promised fans that they’ll get further looks at the game in the near future, they’ve returned to being a bit secretive about things and won’t confirm any dates. So, fans have taken it into their own hands to try and figure out when the next look at GTA 6 may come. And, well, one fan believes that birds – yes, birds – may hold the clue. GTA 6 fan believes birds have hints about second trailer That’s right, if you spotted a flock of birds in the first scenes of the initial GTA 6 trailer, then Redditor Reckoning_2439 believes they hold the key to when Rockstar will drop the next load of details. If you’re not as eagle-eyed as the Redditor, then you’ll have missed the first flock – which contains six birds – flying above Vice City. There is then a second flock – this time containing 10 birds – flying over what appears to be a prison fence. According to the excited Redditor, this points to the next set of trailers coming in June and October. Some fans were quick to label it as simple “silliness” and “insanity” from the GTA 6 fan, claiming they were making connections where they probably shouldn’t have been. However, they’re not the only one to believe that the trailer holds some hints for the future, as another believes that Rockstar may have hinted at September too. So, we’ll have to wait and see who ends up being correct.
