  • Unreleased Fortnite Exotic weapons list leaks with Western Shotgun – Dexerto

Unreleased Fortnite Exotic weapons list leaks with Western Shotgun Epic GamesNow that Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is in the hands of players around the world, dataminers and leakers are finding a number of different unreleased weapons in the game files. Fortnite Season 5 is finally here. The new hunter-themed season has added features to the game, new sections of the map, vaulted/unvaulted multiple weapons, and even weapons. Overall, the Season’s been received relatively well by the community. Of course, however, the initial update is not all that Epic has planned. Thanks to some leaks, we now know some of the weapons that might come to the game over time, and although not all of them will be added, it’s still an interesting insight into the Epic’s developing process. The news comes the way of Fortnite leaker FortTroy over on Twitter. According to him, code strings have been found relating to a number of different weapons, including new SMGs, Assault Rifles, and even a new launcher and sniper. Surprisingly, there a lot of weapons referenced in-game right now that haven’t been released. The only exception to this is the Dragon’s Breath Sniper. Season 5 introduced a Dragon’s Breath Shotgun, so if there’s a sniper variant of that in the works, that would certainly be interesting. • Unreleased “Black Drum” shotgun spotted in new Fortnite Season 6 teasers – Dexerto

Unreleased “Black Drum” shotgun spotted in new Fortnite Season 6 teasers Epic GamesFortnite players are convinced they’ve spotted popular Save the World shotgun the “Black Drum” in the latest Season 6 teasers, as well as what appears to be a modernized version of the single-player game’s “Brood Slicer” pickaxe. Fortnite Season 6 is around the corner, and fans can’t wait to see what Epic Games has planned. As usual, they’ve teased bits and pieces to kick-start the hype, and it’s worked like a charm. Their latest teaser featured Jones rambling about losing control of the Zero Point and reality coming to an end. However, it also showcased snippets of cropped abstract images, and one of them has gotten fans talking. He’s given everything to the Order… and for what? 3.16.2021. #FortniteSeason6 pic.twitter.com/vP0tZytkaU — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) March 13, 2021 The image, which appears twice at the bottom of the teaser, shows a glimpse of what appears to be a unique-looking gun. People have been digging around trying to figure out what it is, and it seems like they’ve found an answer. A Fortnite data miner named Twea confirmed it’s a gun that already exists in Fortnite: Save The World. However, it’s apparently being introduced to the battle royale in Fortnite Season 6. Twea mashed the two images together, giving fans a better look at the gun. It appears to be a shotgun with a spikey metallic aesthetic. The post also included a third image of what appears to be the ‘Brood Slicer’ with a modernized look. https://twitter.com/IShadowHenchmen/status/1371112318541520904?s=20 A fan well-versed in the art of deduction pointed out the shotgun is called the ‘Black Drum.’ It’s a Black Metal weapon that Fortnite: Save The World players know all too well. Most people seem to agree, and the evidence checks out. It looks very similar to the teaser, complete with the metallic spikes and a metal coil in the center. If it is the “Black Drum” shotgun, players should expect a new close-quarters gun that packs a mean punch. Here’s all its stats from Save the World: Ammo: “Shells ‘n’ Slugs” – Reload Time (Seconds): 2.8 – Magazine Size: 10 – Damage to Player: 15.7 – Info: “Drum Shotgun that fires Shells in 2 round bursts.” – Fortnite players are always keen to get their hands on new weapons, especially shotguns. So, if the news ends up being true, it will be met with celebration. Season 6 starts on March 16, which isn’t too far away. Stay tuned for more new Fortnite information once it drops.

  • Unreal Engine dev brings original Doom to Fortnite – Dexerto

Unreal Engine dev brings original Doom to Fortnite id software / epic gamesIt’s apparently possible to play the original Doom game from 1993 in Fortnite, as one Unreal Engine developer has managed to prove. For a long time now, the game Doom has been successfully run on various devices, including a calculator, ATM machine, printer, and Nintendo DS, among many others, as fans keep finding creative ways to play the first-person shooter from 1993. The list doesn’t stop there, though; as it turns out, Fortnite is also not off-limits when it comes to running the first-person shooter. Unreal Engine developer Jack Clayton revealed a clip of a 1993 Doom playthrough within Fortnite via a post on X. Much like the original game; it retains its pixelated graphics and movement despite running on the Battle Royale title. Here’s when things get interesting. Soon enough, the clip showcases building a la Fortnite as the mats get laid out in plain sight. “But can #Fortnite run DOOM? Obviously I can’t publish this, but it was a great way to learn more about Materials and PostProcessing in #UEFN,” the post on X reads. As cited from Kotaku, Clayton explained that the process for this involved hopping into “Ultimate Doom Builder” and exporting “E1M1 as a 3D model” so that it could be “ported into Fortnite’s Unreal editor.” “Then it was mostly removing Unreal’s fancy effects to make everything unlit and unfiltered,” he added. This also includes using “Unreal’s material system to give the Doom Marine [sprite its] choppy spinning effect, and a PostProcess material to pixellate the screen and show the gun.” Given how Fortnite’s graphics look like, the UEFN dev and programmer had to “get creative” to achieve Doom’s visuals. Fortunately, he has experience with “replicating Doom’s visual and gameplay style” since he has “released a number of Doom-inspired games on Steam before moving over to UEFN.” Due to copyright, it’s not possible for this to be made available to the public. Nonetheless, it’s interesting to see what UEFN is capable to offer in talented hands.

  • UNO wants Fortnite to keep the v8.20 update after Ninja and co. switched games – Dexerto

UNO wants Fortnite to keep the v8.20 update after Ninja and co. switched games Ubisoft/Epic GamesThe official Twitter account for UNO has hilariously called for Epic Games to keep the v8.20 update in Fortnite, after a host of popular streamers started playing UNO instead. On March 28, a host of the most popular Fortnite Twitch streamers – Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins, Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar, Marcel ‘BasicallyIDoWrk’ Cunningham and Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop – switched to streaming UNO together, partly due to their collective lack of enjoyment in Fortnite after the v8.20 update. The update, which removed a number of popular changes implemented in Season 7, such as 50 HP bonus on elimination and an increased farming rate, has led to significant complaints from the Fortnite community, that squads are boring after the update. Due to the popularity of their streams, UNO likely experienced a surge in popularity as viewers flocked to watch (and subsequently play) the online version of the popular family card game. In response to a clip from TimTheTatman’s stream of the group playing their game, the official UNO Twitter account replied to mock Ninja’s cards, saying: “you got quite the card collection going there.” @Ninja you got quite the card collection going there.:rolling_on_the_floor_laughing::rolling_on_the_floor_laughing: — UNO (@realUNOgame) March 29, 2019 Later on March 29, KFC Gaming replied to a Fortnite tweet about updates with an image of the UNO ‘Reverse’ card, and the caption: “Time to revert the update.” This prompted the official UNO account to take aim at Fortnite and comment again, this time simply with: “They can take their time.” Although UNO’s tweets are clearly tongue in cheek, their jokes about capitalizing on the unpopularity of Fortnite’s recent updates fit with wider community complaints about the removal of some of the game’s most popular features. There has, at the time of writing, been no official response from Epic Games related to the update’s backlash.

  • UnknownxArmy calls out Tfue for using 2nd account in Fortnite Cash Cup – Dexerto

UnknownxArmy calls out Tfue for using 2nd account in Fortnite Cash Cup YouTube: NRG Esports / Twitch: TfueProfessional Fortnite player Dominick “UnknownxArmy1x” Green has called out Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney for using multiple accounts in the Fortnite Cash Cup to get a better result. The Fortnite Cash Cups are small weekly tournaments that give the best players an opportunity to make some money and prove their skill against the top players in their region and on their platform. Obviously, this means the top competitive players usually rise to the top, but also gives lesser-known players an opportunity to work their way up. But Unknown thinks Tfue – one of the biggest names in Fortnite – may be abusing the system. In a tweet posted late on Wednesday, April 15, Unknown said that Tfue “switches accounts every time he’s doing bad to reset the cup,” meaning that he just jumps on to a second account during his 10 matches to try and get more points – basically giving him up to 20 matches in the tournament rather than just 10. He also asks, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, whether he can do that too, though whether he’s being serious or suggesting Tfue gets away with something he shouldn’t isn’t quite clear. Obviously he’s not totally impressed with the former FaZe star’s actions either way, and there were some very mixed responses from his peers and fans in the replies. https://twitter.com/UnknownxArmy1x/status/1250578553936269315?s=20 Multiple pro players retweeted it, including Team Liquid’s Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo and fellow NRG member Will ‘Zayt’ Aubin, obviously thinking there’s something slightly off with Tfue being able to simply switch accounts for better results. Despite this, there doesn’t appear to be anything in the rules that says players aren’t allowed to switch accounts during the Cash Cups, so Tfue isn’t breaking any rules in doing so, regardless of what people think of the moral implications. Many people responded to the tweet saying that he should be allowed to do so because of stream snipers making it impossible to have the same chance of performing well as other players. Whether or not it’s something Epic Games themselves deem wrong, or even disallow it, remains to be seen. Regardless of what they think or do about it, though, it’s clearly rubbing some players the wrong way, so they might want to address it sooner rather than later.

  • Unexpected Fortnite item can help counter mythic cars in Chapter 5 Season 3 – Dexerto

Unexpected Fortnite item can help counter mythic cars in Chapter 5 Season 3 Epic GamesTired of dealing with cars in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3? This one uncommon item can help you out, and here’s what you should know. Generally, when it comes to countering cars in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, Boogie Bombs or Nitro Fists are the items that come to mind. Since the start of this season, there have been clips of some users pulling off plays by using these items to kick others out of their cars or even shove them so far away they wouldn’t have time to make it back to the circle. That said, there’s actually one other alternative you can use to deny those shooting at you with their cars, and that is none other than the Shield Bubble Jr. Often. With the right placement, this item can be used as a moving shield for your vehicle as you traverse the map. Or at least, that’s how it’s commonly used in previous seasons. But it’s worth remembering that since the Shield Bubble Jr. actually blocks damage from the outside and inside, essentially, it can also be used to trap players trying to fight you using or within their vehicle. As shown in a TikTok video, one player managed to escape death by throwing the Shield Bubble Jr. at the enemy’s vehicle before making their escape. The enemy was then unable to deal damage unless they stepped outside the bubble’s range. While it’s a pretty clever strategy, know that the shield won’t last forever. So, if you’re trying to pull this off, you’ll need to ensure not to overstay your welcome. Fortunately, as this is an uncommon Utility item in the game, getting your hands on the Shield Bubble Jr. should be pretty easy. They’re usually seen inside chests of supply drops and if you’re lucky, you might even see them lying on the ground. Additionally, despite you being able to use this to block cars from attacking you, the Shield Bubble Jr. can come in clutch if you need a place to quickly heal yourself without having to reposition and risk yourself getting spotted and sniped from a mile away.

  • Unexpected change to Fortnite storm circles found after v12.61 patch – Dexerto

Unexpected change to Fortnite storm circles found after v12.61 patch Epic GamesEpic Games have made some unannounced changes to the Fortnite storm circles following the release of the v12.61 update. The latest Fortnite patch, 12.61, released on May 26, addressed controller aim assist issues, introduced new challenges, and included the usual bug fixes, that are often seen in each update. However, shortly after the new update went live, some Fortnite players claimed that there were some other changes that had not been included in the latest patch notes, after noticing something unusual with the collapsing storm circles. A change to the storms has now made it that the first circles are now completely random, with massive differences in size and location, compared to the similar patterns that they used to follow. Fortnite streamer AussieAntics was among the first few to highlight the new safe zones, sharing one example where only the corner of the island was safe. The new circles have shown a lot of variances, with some of the early storms keeping the entire map as a safe zone and others where it would cut off the majority of the map, only a few minutes into a match. Ummm… Can anyone confirm if they changed how zones work…? pic.twitter.com/fsvAyWWoxY — DIG Aussie Antics (@AussieAntics) May 26, 2020 However, it only seems to be the first circle that is affected by these changes, with the following safe zones abiding by the regular patterns, as seen before the patch, when scaling down in the late game. Other Fortnite stars x2Twins also noticed the bizarre storm, pointing out that it had encompassed the entire map during one of their livestreams on the new patch. However, while the hidden changes have been affecting public matches, it seems as if competitive games and Arena have not been impacted by the new safe zones. While many theories have been circling about these hidden changes, one of the more likely ones was shared by Ali-A and other Fortnite players, who claimed that it could be Midas and the Doomsday Device that were causing the unusual patterns. It’s a build-up to the live event this weekend, it hasn’t be implemented as serious change to the storm! — Ali-A (@OMGitsAliA) May 26, 2020 As it recently announced that Fortnite’s end-of-season event has been delayed, players will have to wait a little while longer to see what else this Doomsday Device might have in-store.

  • Underwater hatches open in Fortnite ahead of leaked Season 3 map flood – Dexerto

Underwater hatches open in Fortnite ahead of leaked Season 3 map flood Epic GamesWaterways under the Fortnite island have begun spilling their contents ahead of Season 3 leaks that could tell us what affects The Device will have on the map. The event that’s been delayed three times is now set to go off as Epic triggered a countdown over The Agency that has audiences across the battle royale excited to see what will come out of it. They won’t have long to wait either, since the timer is set to run off on Monday, June 15, which could be plenty of time to submerge the landscape or anything else that Midas and the Agency have plotted. Audiences could start feeling the effects of the plan soon as the hatches located near the Agency building have opened, and it’s already sending theorists ablaze since it could be confirming initial beliefs of the event. For weeks, images and videos have surfaced of a Fortnite island completely submerged. These gave way to many ideas of possible collaborations between the devs and other franchises, although nothing has yet to materialize. THE HATCHES HAVE BEEN OPENED!! pic.twitter.com/wxuKhMQZYV — FortTory – Fortnite leaks & news (@FortTory) June 13, 2020 Popular convention indicates that the flood will lead right into the new season, leaving players with a huge cliffhanger that will alter the state of the island and set up the next chapter of The Agency’s story. Clips from dataminers suggest the water that will flood the island will then gradually, if not instantly, recede from the game in the events of the upcoming season. Even still, this will mark a big turning point in Fortnite’s main story, evidenced by a PlayStation store thumbnail leak that seemed to highlight a flooded island behind the flying Battle Bus. https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1266129426397495296?ref_src=twsrctfwtwcamptweetembedtwterm1266129426397495296&ref_url=httpswww.dexerto.comfortnitefortnites-season-3-map-has-apparently-been-leaked-1377810 Here’s what it could mean for Season 3 At this point, it’s assumed that The Agency, at least on the face of the map, will be in complete shambles by the time Season 3 rolls around. Whatever Midas is planning will either catastrophically backfire or succeed in creating sheer havoc across the island and propelling it into the next story point of the series. Fortnite fans won’t have much longer to wait either, as the countdown over the Agency slowly winds down and unleashing whatever Epic has planned for its players.

  • “Underrated” Fortnite weapon shreds in Chapter 5 Season 3 – Dexerto

“Underrated” Fortnite weapon shreds in Chapter 5 Season 3 epic gamesWhile Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has introduced a bunch of new weapons and items, one “underrated” piece of equipment can hit like a truck and send your enemy back to the lobby. With the introduction of new weapons every season, the meta in Fortnite is always changing. Earlier this season, cars and Nitro Fists dominated the Battle Royale, so much so that players begged for certain items to return to help counter them. The Tow Hook Cannon is one of the latest additions intended to counter vehicles in the game. While it may not be as popular as the EMP Shield Breaker or the recently vaulted Boogie Bombs to shut down a car, it can certainly be viable in combat as one player has shown. “Do not sleep on the Tow Hook Cannon; it’s never the wrong weapon for the job,” a player wrote in a Reddit thread, showcasing a clip of them winning a 1v1 using the Tow Hook Cannon. Even though the enemy was using Nitro Fists to maneuver around the place, the player was able to land their hits and take them down in just a few shots. And just like that, they were eliminated and sent packing. “Not a bad choice when you’re in tight against nitro fists….just don’t miss!!” one player commented Granted, acquiring a target with the Tow Hook Cannon can be challenging since it’s a projectile weapon, but the amount of damage it deals certainly pays off. “Crazy damage, but it’s a b**** to aim with. However, I carry it ever since I won a game with it as my last weapon…everything else needed a reload, and the final guy was right on top of me; I hit him with the tow hook and got the crown,” mentioned another. “The knockback is underrated. Love to use it when fighting on hills to create an instant high ground advantage (or sometimes just get a fall damage elim outright),” one player chimed in. It can be punishing to miss your shots if the situation is a bit more chaotic. Still, if you have friends with you and can poke the enemy from afar, it could turn the tides of the match – provided you land your shots, of course.

However, as Fortnite is prone to dropping pop-culture-themed bundles it certainly isn’t out of the equation just yet. The next big Fortnite debut will be that of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, as the mysterious character The Foundation. Until he arrives, be sure to stay updated with Fortnite’s Chapter 3 developments.

Here’s how they work and what you need to be wary of. With Season 6 starting to wind down, the next major Fortnite patch is just days away. Another epic kickoff event is roughly set for June 7 and early leaks have hinted at an alien takeover on the way. While players were kept in the dark over the past few weeks, these leaks have finally come to light. The first UFOs were spotted in-game on June 2 as players were lifted off the ground and abducted by the alien vehicle. From how rare they are to what they actually do, here’s everything you need to know about UFOs in Fortnite. UFOs are now live! Video taken by @RexiumFN — Fortnite News (@FortINTEL) June 2, 2021 How do UFOs work in Fortnite? The community was stunned by the first appearance, but it didn’t take long for players to figure out how UFOs function. While they may seem like a threat at first, the Alien Abductions surprisingly come with some positive effects. They start with a fairly low spawn rate of just 10% in the first zone. As each circle progresses, however, the chance of a UFO spawning only goes up. In the final zone, it’s an outright guarantee that one will appear if it hasn’t already. UFO spawn rate in Fortnite UFO effects in Fortnite As soon as they show up, the UFOs will randomly select an abductee. This chosen target is given three seconds of warning and the process of ‘beaming’ them up takes just two seconds. In total, a whopping 20 players can be taken into the UFO at any given time. This means they can abduct individuals as well as entire squads all at once. Rather than ending your run, however, UFOs actually come with some upsides. If you happen to be low on health or shields, finding an alien ship and being abducted will heal you right back up to 100. TypicalGamer and EwitsEric win the Fortnite Duos Stream-vitational TypicalGamer and Golden Ticket winner EwitsEric won the Fortnite TwitchCon Stream-vitational Duos match at TwitchCon. Pokimane and Gears of War former pro Jribs started off hot, grabbing four of the first 12 elims to start the match. An exciting scenario played out earlier than expected when huge names all converged on a small space near Tilted Towers with the Storm closing in. Svennoss, SpaceLyon, CourageJD, Myth and more were all within fighting distance, however they erred on the side of caution and a skirmish did not break out. Chaos would ensue shortly after when 42 players were still alive in a tiny end game circle, with a rapid 20+ eliminations happening in a matter of seconds. The stream showed an overhead view of the insanity, with player names barely readable in the congested circle. TypicalGamer had the early rotation advantage and set up high ground on the Floating Island. Myth and Svennoss battled each other down low, leaving both players with no shields and little health. It was TypicalGamer dropping down to clean up the eliminations, landing quick shots on Myth and then Svennoss to earn the victory. The teams were randomly drawn among pros, major streamers and Golden Ticket winners – who are Fortnite fans attending TwitchCon. TypicalGamer’s performance earned EwitsEric a share of $64,000, who compared his fortune to winning the lottery during a post match interview. • Two popular weapons could be unvaulted in Fortnite Battle Royale soon – Dexerto

Two popular weapons could be unvaulted in Fortnite Battle Royale soon Epic GamesFortnite Battle Royale fans might have thought that there was no chance that the revolver or heavy shotgun would be available in Season 9 after being vaulted, but there are two clues that suggest they will come back sooner rather than later. Epic Games have shuffled around with the game’s list of available weapons and items on numerous occasions since it was first released in September 2017, but they are also known to drop some hints about those changes before they come to fruition. That appears to be the case with Season 9, too, as the developer might well have dropped hints about a return for both of the weapons in some form. Firstly, it’s worth mentioning that the heavy shotgun – which was vaulted in the 7.30 patch – actually features in the promotional material that Epic put out at the very start of Season 9. This would suggest that the shotgun is indeed set for a return at some stage in the near future, but that’s not the only source of clues that fans need to keep tabs on. In fact, the Fortnite development team have also been tinkering with the statistics of the revolver, which has been a typical move in the process of preparing a weapon to return in the past. The image above was posted to the Fortnite BR subreddit by Lightning_Splash and suggests the fire rate of the revolver has been amended to give it a slight buff, despite the weapon having been vaulted since patch 5.40. It was previously 0.9 and has been upped to 1.2. The other statistic that has been improved is the reload time. This used to be 2.2 seconds, but has been shortened to just 2.0 seconds. While these are not two concrete pieces of evidence that categorically confirm their unvaulting, it does go some way to increasing the chances of it happening in the near future. Whether or not it will, though, remains to be seen.

Two players have left OpTic Gaming’s pro Fortnite team Two of the original members of OpTic Gaming’s Fortnite Battle Royale pro team have parted ways with the organization. Marco ‘Marz’ Soto and Dade ‘Dramas’ Lesch have announced that they are no longer with OpTic and are free agents as of November 28. The pair will be reviewing any new opportunities that come their way as the look for a new org to represent in competitive Fortnite. “Myself and Dramas are parting ways with OpTic Gaming and we are now on the lookout for a new org and home,” Marz tweeted. “It was a pleasure to represent the Green Wall and would like to thank them for the once in a lifetime opportunity.” Read More: Issues with Winter Royale and how they affect competitive Fortnite | The Fortnite Podcast Ep 56 – “Want to say thanks for everything they did for us,” said Dramas. “It was a pleasure being under such a great organization. Marz and Dramas were two of the original members of OpTic’s first ever Fortnite pro team, which also featured Kenneth ‘Baldy’Anderson and Robert ‘WizKay’ Simone. With the pair gone now gone, there remain only two active players on OpTic’s roster – team captain Baldy and Stephen ‘Gunfly’ Brown, who was signed in replacement of WizKay in late September. As of now, the org has to comment on these roster moves and about who, if anyone, will be signed to fill up the departing players’ spots on the roster. Despite their status as a prominent esports org, OpTic have largely failed to make much noise in the competitive Fortnite scene, especially when compared to some of the other orgs such as Team Liquid, Team SoloMid, and FaZe Clan. They were represented at the Fall Skirmish finals at TwitchCon in late October, with Baldy and Gunfly coming in 50th and earning $10,000.

  • Two new revamped assault rifles leaked for Fortnite Chapter 2 – Dexerto

Two new revamped assault rifles leaked for Fortnite Chapter 2 Following the v11.20 update for Fortnite, data miners believe they have uncovered the return of two previous weapons, but with fresh designs, on their way to Battle Royale. Admittedly, Chapter 2 of Fortnite has been a bit light on new additions. Especially so by Epic Games’ own high standards of outputting new content on a bi-weekly basis. So far, the first season of the second chapter has been relatively sparse. This has even caused some concern among the game’s biggest streaming and YouTube personalities, including Ninja. With the v11.20 update, though, it looks like Epic are stepping their game up again, not only teasing an upcoming holiday event, but potentially adding two new weapons to the arsenal. Initially leaked by data miners following the update, the weapons haven’t yet been added to the full game. Save the World is known for getting some of the more extravagant weapons, but these new assault rifles would fit right into battle royale. Both the Scoped AR and Heavy AR were previously in Fortnite, but their designs have been given a refresh. Images courtesy of HYPEX. In addition to the images of the rifles, the leaker also uncovered the sound files. You can hear how the weapon will fire and reload. For now, we only have the sound files for the Heavy Assault Rifle – including sounds of it firing and reloading. When are the new guns coming to Fortnite? Unfortunately, although they’ve been added to the game files, there’s no indication of when they’ll be added to the game. Presumably, they will be usable in-game in time for whatever Epic Games has planned for the Winter/Holiday event. But we don’t yet have an official start date for that either. With Chapter 2, Season 1 now extended to ‘early February’, there’s a long window for these items to be added.

  • Two massive playable pianos have been added to Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto

Two massive playable pianos have been added to Fortnite Battle Royale Fortnite fans who have hopped into the Battle Bus have discovered two huge pianos on the ground, added during the V6.21 update to the game. The massive piano can be played by anyone, just by jumping on the different keys, with each key marked with the actual note it corresponds to. Players who would like to tickle the ivories can do so in two places. One is currently located south-east of Retail Row, on top of a hill between Retail Row and the racing track found in the bottom right-hand corner of the Fortnite island. The other piano can be found just west of Pleasant Park, hidden high up on top of another hill. It seems likely that the piano is to be used to complete a future challenge where players have to play a song or follow a pattern to complete it. One of the Week 6 challenges asks fans to search for a stand which has sheet music on it somewhere in Pleasant Park, which is likely connected to the appearance of these giant keyboards. Data miners have also been hard at work searching through the update file, and have already found new skins, cosmetics and a mysterious new in-game event that may take place soon. In the meantime, players can practice their musical talents on the brand new keyboards, with some incredible songs sure to be produced by Fortnite fans!

  • Two instant death locations found on Fortnite Chapter 2 map – Dexerto

Two instant death locations found on Fortnite Chapter 2 map Epic GamesInstant death locations have reared their ugly heads in Fortnite before and were eventually fixed, but with the new Chapter 2 map, players have discovered at least two such locations already. After being sucked into a black hole at the end of Season X, Fortnite went dark, but has now reemerged and completely rebranded itself as ‘Chapter 2’. As part of this rebrand, a brand-new map was introduced that features a few familiar locations sprinkled in with loads of new ones. The new map has created a lot of excitement, but there are already some serious problems with it due to bugs, which can be deadly. These spots are particularly dangerous because you’ll skip the downed state and go straight to death, leaving your team with just a Reboot Card. However, they can’t even grab your card, because they too will fall victim to the instadeath. THERE ARE DEADZONES IN THE MAP LOLLLLLL @FortniteGame pic.twitter.com/7hAB449WJf — timthetatman (@timthetatman) October 15, 2019 There hasn’t been an official response from Epic Games about this dangerous location yet, but if it continues to pose a threat to unsuspecting players, we can expect some communication soon. Surprisingly, there hasn’t been a set of patch notes released for Chapter 2 at the time of writing, despite the game being live again. It’s clear a lot of changes were made, but players will have to figure them all out on their own for now, including the instadeath locations, instead of reading patch notes. In the meantime, be on the lookout for more instadeath spots – we see how easy they can sneak up on you.

  • Two Fortnite Chapter 2 exploits that make you immune to fall damage – Dexerto

Two Fortnite Chapter 2 exploits that make you immune to fall damage There are two exploits currently in Fortnite Chapter 2 that give players immunity from fall damage, no matter how high up they fall down from. Fall damage is one of the more annoying aspects of Fortnite, because often players inflict it upon themselves and end up taking heavy damage or even dying by their own hand. It’s also one of the game’s biggest equalizers for lesser-skilled players who can’t keep up during intense gunfights and end up resorting to shooting the enemy builds down, causing the opponent to fall to their death. However, there are not one but two ways in Fortnite right now that can actually prevent players from getting hurt after falling from great heights. These exploits, which we’ll call the Zipline method and bush-ramp method, both require certain steps be completed, the details about which we’ve included below, courtesy of YouTuber ‘OrangeGuy.’ How to prevent fall damage in Fortnite – Zipline method As the name suggests, this method requires the use of a Zipline in the beginning. Ziplines offer protection from fall damage, and that mechanic can be exploited to be reserved for later. Find a Zipline that goes over any body of water and begin to ride it. – While over the water, jump off the Zipline and land into the deep part of the water. – The glowing fall damage protection from the Zipline should remain active after you land, and it can now be used to prevent fall damage of any kind one time. – How to prevent fall damage in Fortnite – bush-ramp method This method is a bit less straightforward, but it can still be easily executed as long as these steps are followed properly: Find a large bush and walk into it as much as you can until you’re well within the leaves. – While in the bush, build and start walking up a ramp however high you want. – You have now achieved the immunity, and a fall from any height will not damage you as long as you don’t get off the builds and don’t jump before you fall. – A visual demonstration for both of these methods can be found in OrangeGuy’s video below, starting at the 1:17 mark for mobile users. Both of these exploits are more situational than anything else, in that they’re limited to being useful in only certain situations. That said, they still provide a very powerful perk to players, who can play the game with more freedom when not worrying about falling to their death. One thing that is crucially important to note is that both of these tricks will more than likely be classified as bannable exploits by developers Epic Games, so we DO NOT recommend using them in public or competitive matches.

  • Two fan favorite Fortnite locations teased for Season 10 return – Dexerto

Two fan favorite Fortnite locations teased for Season 10 return Graphics: Epic GamesTwo new Rift Beacons have appeared in Fortnite Battle Royale and it appears that two of the game’s most popular locations are about to come back – Greasy Grove and Moisty Mire. These Rift Beacons have been appearing all over the battle royale map during the course of Season 10 and have caused the return of Dusty Depot, Retail Row, and even Kevin the Cube’s Floating Island following the v10.20 content update. When they appear, map changes have almost always come soon after. Although, it seems that Epic Games are keeping players on their toes again and have teased the return of two of the most popular points of interest. There are two Rift Beacons located at Paradise Palms, something that’s been teased in previous leaks, as well as on top of the icy lake in the snow biome. On September 4, fans noticed that these Rift Beacons were placed at Dusty Depot – with one on the back of a truck – and now we know where they were going. As seen in the images below, there’s a Rift Beacon right next to where Greasy Grove once stood and another where Moisty Mire once was. With so many changes already being made near the factories, it seemed fairly obvious that they wouldn’t stay there for long and that’s been proven correct. Despite the previous leaks, players will be delighted to see that Epic could soon be bringing back two previous destinations. Other fan favorite points of interest have also appeared in the game’s files, such as Anarchy Acres, Risky Reels and others. With the truck already dropping Beacons off near Greasy and Paradise, it remains to be seen if these other POIs are set for a comeback as well – or if this is related to the seemingly ongoing crossover event with IT Chapter 2. While a number of big names were involved, the overall champion was a big surprise. The competition was structured in three rounds of four matches, followed by a final round of four matches. The trios captained by Dubs, Tina and Ezzi qualified through eliminations. • Twitch unfeatures Fortnite streamer after mentioning Ninja clips – Dexerto

Twitch unfeatures Fortnite streamer after mentioning Ninja clips L: Ninja R: Epic GamesFortnite streamer Marcus ‘Ranger’ Pereira was cut off from the official Twitch broadcast of the dark hole event after encouraging people to watch Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins. Ninja switched from Twitch to Mixer in August, and while the Amazon-owned platform has said that there are no hard feelings, their handling of their former star streamer has been criticized in the past, most recently when his channel was being used to broadcast adult content. So it is possible that Twitch wouldn’t appreciate a player on their official broadcast telling viewers to watch another streamer on a rival platform. It all took place when Fortnite streamer Ranger was streaming the dark hole event and was randomly selected by the official Twitch channel to be featured on their broadcast. For many streamers, being featured on a major broadcast like that – which has remained on over 50,000 viewers since it went live – is a big deal. However, Ranger’s time was shortlived after he joked about watching a Ninja clip while waiting for Fortnite to come back online. Ranger explained what happened when he suggested his viewers watch a Ninja video on YouTube. “I’m watching YouTube videos because of Fortnite downtime and Twitch’s channel randomly started playing my stream,” he said. “I said we should watch a Ninja video then they turned me off.” I’m watching YouTube videos because of fortnite down time and twitchs channel randomly started playing my stream and I said we should watch a @Ninja video then they turned me off LMAOOOOOO — Ranger :jack_o_lantern::skull: (@RangerMJP) October 14, 2019 Ranger was able to play it off as a harmless decision on Twitch’s part, and it’s entirely possible that it was a simple coincidence and Twitch’s hosting could have been running on an algorithm that automatically switched to other streams. However, it did happen so quickly after he mentioned Ninja’s name. Read More: What do the numbers mean in Fortnite The End – You can see how fast the switch was in the clip below, lasting just close to two minutes before the change was made. On top of that, he’s no slouch in the competitive Fortnite scene either, earning over $30,000 in prize money since the game’s debut. Fortnite’s black hole ends on Tuesday October 15 as Fortnite Chapter 2 launches with a new map, mechanics, and more. • Twitch Streamer DrLupo Shares His Strategy and Opinion Regarding the New Hop Rocks in Fortnite – Dexerto

Twitch Streamer DrLupo Shares His Strategy and Opinion Regarding the New Hop Rocks in Fortnite The brand new Season 4 of Fortnite finally launched on May 1st after weeks of great anticipation and hype. The new season brought with it several huge changes, including a massive meteor crash site at the new Dusty Divot, loads of new in-game content, and, of course, Hop Rocks. One of the more discussed new items in Fortnite, Hop Rocks are purple, glowing crystals that can be found in any of the new crater sites across the map. Once consumed, they give players a 30 second period of heightened jumping ability, allowing users to get to higher areas without having to build. Hop Rocks were a major point of conversation in the first episode of IGN’s brand new Fortnite Show, in which popular Twitch streamer and Fortnite extraordinaire Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo made a guest appearance. Among other things, the streamer revealed his strategy of how he goes about using the new jump-boosting crystals in-game. “I don’t know if you guys had the opportunity to do this yet, but if you get an Impulse Grenade and build a giant ramp after you get one of the Hop Rocks, you can fly at people and that surprisingly throws off people in really big way because nobody seems to expect it yet.” He also went on to share his opinion regarding the Hop Rocks, claiming that the new item helps even out the playing field to a sense. “People are really getting good at building too, so the Hop Rocks can negate some of the building advantage that people have because you can jump four, five stories with ease now if you pop one of those things.” Love them or hate them, there is always going to be two sides to the ‘Hop Rock viability’ argument in Fortnite because, as DrLupo mentions in the segment, there are many within the game’s vast player-base that will find nearly every change or addition to be controversial. – You can view the Hop Rocks segment below, or watch the entire first episode of IGN’s Fortnite Show on their offical website. • Twitch streamer claims Fortnite copied his appearance for skin – Dexerto

Twitch streamer claims Fortnite copied his appearance for skin Epic Games/Riot/PeteyPlasticTwitch streamer and YouTuber Petey Plastic is calling out Epic Games after a skin, which he believes is a carbon copy of himself, was added to the game. Petey is a fast-rising streamer, boasting nearly 19K followers on Twitch. His LGBTQIA+ rapper persona has certainly connected with a lot of people, leading to his success and popularity. That popularity may not come without some negatives, however. The streamer is now accusing Epic Games of using his likeness for a skin in Fortnite and needless to say, he is not happy about it. Taking to Twitter and YouTube, the streamer called out Epic Games in a series of tweets and a video. Being that I’m an official Fortnite creator with @EpicGames I’m honestly hella salty they made a character extremely similar to my appearance. Like almost a carbon copy down to the bracelet… At least name the skin after me or something pic.twitter.com/NNUrjSLDhI — Petey Plastic (@PeteyPlastic) February 9, 2021 “Being that I’m an official Fortnite creator with Epic Games, I’m honestly hella salty they made a character extremely similar to my appearance,” he said and posted photos of the Cuddle King skin next to a picture of himself. “Like almost a carbon copy down to the bracelet… At least name the skin after me or something.” On YouTube, the entertainer continued to lay into Epic and described all the similarities between his own attire and the skin. “This skin happens to have heart-shaped glasses, like I always wear. My fur coat that I wear to all the events, including TwitchCon. The tattoos, although they’re not the same exact tattoos, the tattoos are all over the arm, just like my picture,” Petey explained. According to the streamer, he’d maintained this image for many years, so it’s not anything new, whereas the skin is. What also makes this upsetting for him is that Epic does make skins for content creators, such as Ninja, and acknowledges them. Speaking to Dexerto, Petey said he was talking to his lawyer about potentially taking this to court. “I’m currently in talks with my lawyer to sue Epic Games due to the character being close in appearance to my logo I’ve been using on twitch for 3+ years,” he said. Although that would be a worst-case scenario, he wants to reach a resolution with Epic and hopes that the company will name the skin after him. We’ll have to see what comes of these accusations and how Epic responds, especially if the streamer follows through with his legal threats.

  • Twitch star Grefg blasts Epic after ‘refusing’ to change his Fortnite skin – Dexerto

Twitch star Grefg blasts Epic after ‘refusing’ to change his Fortnite skin TheGrefg/Epic GamesTwitch star Grefg has now blasted Epic Games after they refused to make changes to his Fortnite skin according to his demands. Here’s what the streamer told his viewers. Fortnite, the leading Battle Royale game has produced streamers such as Ninja, SypherPK, and many more who have become internet celebrities and amassed a massive, loyal fan base. There is a sizable audience in Europe that watches the game streamed, so it’s not just only players in the US who are into it. Along with prominent European broadcasters such as BenjyFishy and Mongraal, Grefg, also known as TheGrefG, is a top Spanish streaming celebrity with a massive Twitch following. After getting their hands on a Fortnite ICON skin on January 17, 2021, the streamer went on to hold a Floor is Lava tournament where players could win the cosmetic set for free. In light of Epic’s latest v28.10 update, which gave the ICON series skins a LEGO appearance, Grefg says he contacted the developers to have their Fortnite skin’s face model changed to meet their likeness. However, the streamer has now openly criticized Epic on his stream after discovering that they declined to meet his demands. Fortnite star Grefg blasts at Epic after they refused to change his skin model In a recent stream in preparation for the re-release of Fortnite ICON series skins in the Item Shop, Grefg revealed that they requested Epic to change the face model of his skin. He told viewers (translated from Spanish), “I must admit it live, yes I tried to tell Fortnite, hey why don’t we take advantage? Now that LEGO styles are coming to my skin. Change my face model to look like me maybe after all those memes?” Grefg then continued with Epic’s response to his request and said (translated from Spanish), “They told me to eat s**t. I’m kidding, they didn’t tell me that. But they said ‘yes yes we are going to put your real face on your skin but it will not be now since we’re very busy with all the updates.’ I’m sorry for asking for a change to my face three years later but how can I use something like that?” He continued, “It’s better that in 2069 we change the face of my skin. I’m sorry Epic for asking for something like that. What I’m telling you seems crazy.” Fans of the streamer supported them and turned in their comments on their stream as well as on social media. One fan said, “That’s a slap in the face.” Another commented, “Epic said who even are you.” On the other hand, various Fortnite players opposed this move by Grefg and replied, “I mean I don’t even understand why he’s complaining, not everyone gets the opportunity to have their very own skin in a game.” While the drama between Grefg’s community and Fortnite continues, the latest 28.10 update brought some significant changes to the core Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Festival game modes.

  • Twitch permabans Fortnite pro for evading “hateful slurs” suspension – Dexerto

Twitch permabans Fortnite pro for evading “hateful slurs” suspension YouTube/AdvythFortnite pro ‘Advyth’ has been permanently banned on Twitch for using a new account to evade a suspension he received back in January for “hateful slurs.” [jwplayer Mx6o4MA0] Twitch streamer Advyth has been hit with an indefinite ban on the platform after he opted to use another account to broadcast after waiting months to appeal his original suspension. Advyth was originally indefinitely suspended back in January for allegedly using “hateful slurs or symbols” during a broadcast. In a February 17 YouTube video the pro made a last ditch effort to bring attention to his ban, which he believes was unfair. According to the Fortnite pro, there were a few issues that lead up to his suspension. First, he claims he was “mass reported” by jealous players because he was hosted by fellow pro Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf. Advyth explained that because Bugha doesn’t host a lot of people, so when he was hosted by the 2019 World Cup winner, he was reported in an act of jealousy. His other theory is that he was banned for something he “may or may not have said that was homophobic or racist.” Is there ANY and i mean LEGIT ANY information about how long twitch take’s to respond to appeals and info about indefinite bans. The only thing I’ve looked at are outdated Reddit posts and in some people’s experiences they haven’t gotten back till 8 months or no response at all — Advyth (@Advyth) February 19, 2021 “Twitch also does not ban people for saying the word ‘retard’ and if they did, they never made a statement about it even though streamers use the word on their platform sometimes as well,” he added. Basically, the streamer had no idea what he said that resulted in the ban and the email Twitch sent him wasn’t detailed enough leading to this confusion. The video, while amassing over 20,000 viewers, didn’t result in any statement from Twitch, so the streamer ended up deciding to broadcast on his alternate account. Sadly, that didn’t last too long either. On February 21, the streamer posted screenshots revealing that Twitch had banned him once again, this time for suspension evasion. “Goodbye,” he captioned his tweets showcasing the ban. Seeing the screenshots for himself, Bugha even chimed in, calling the decision “not fair.” In any case, Twitch doesn’t comment on individual bans, so it’s unlikely that they’d start doing so now. Combined with the fact that Advyth tried to evade the suspension, it’s looking increasingly doubtful that he is ever allowed to return to streaming on the platform.

  • TV star Dr. Phil now wants his own Fortnite skin – Dexerto

TV star Dr. Phil now wants his own Fortnite skin Dr. Phil / Epic GamesIn an insane turn of events, TV star Dr. Phil asks “Fortnite creators” to put the personality in the game. Veterans and newcomers alike know one of the major successes of Fortnite is how Epic Games has managed to amass a large number of celebrities and popular media in the game for fans to use. Open up the shop, and the likes of rapper Eminem, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Weeknd, and more are all options for player usage. Epic Games has managed to do what was “deemed” impossible at one point with its cosmetic push, and it seems the roster of cosmetics may see another huge addition after this well-known personality asks to be in Fortnite. Dr. Phil wants his own Fortnite skin In a clip shared on Twitter/X by HappyPower, the reality TV star is caught in a rather elaborate setup, where he’s presumably playing Fortnite. “Hold on chat,” Dr. Phil starts. “Hey Fortnite creators, what do I gotta do to get my own character?” He goes on to mention Eminem has three skins compared to his zero. “I need my own character, come on!” The replies to the video were flooded with support for the good doctor’s in-game appearance. “PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN,” one fan excitedly replied. Many others shared similar feelings, all tagging the official Fortnite account to make it a dream come true. Others pointed out the absurdity of Dr. Phil’s setup, as they pointed out there’s no way he was actually playing Fortnite. “Keyboard in front of a MacBook that can’t have Fortnite installed on it,” one fan laughed. Doesn’t even know what a “w” key is 🤣 🤡 pic.twitter.com/SUB0kcFm7o — RonFlxsh (@RonFlxsh) March 12, 2024 Fortnite’s portfolio speaks for itself, so don’t be surprised if Dr. Phil somehow makes his way into the game.

  • TSM’s Myth Wants Some Changes Made to the Shooting Mechanics in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth Wants Some Changes Made to the Shooting Mechanics in Fortnite The shooting mechanics in Fortnite: Battle Royale have been a major topic of discussion since the game was originally released in September of 2017. Whether among casual players or top Fortnite professionals, many have chimed in with their two cents of how the overall shooting system could be improved. Fortnite infamously uses what is often called a “bloom” system when it comes to weapon firing in-game. This system includes a radius around the direction in which the weapon is being shot where there’s a random chance for the bullets to misfire and not connect with the aimed at target, even if the player’s aim itself has not been changed. Many have complained about this system since it involves Random Number Generation (RNG) heavily influencing the outcome of gunfights. Read More: OpTic’s CouRage Has a Theory on Why Epic Games is Bringing Back the Rare ‘Red Knight’ Skin in Fortnite – The captain of TeamSolomid’s pro Fortnite team, Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, had some things to say about the current shooting system in Fortnite. According to him, Epic Games would do well by implementing several changes the weapon aiming and firing mechanisms, and he demonstrated it using the recently added Drum Gun. “So aimed in, you have set for First Shot Accuracy, then you have set bloom size for being just aimed in. And no matter how fast you’re moving, no matter how fast you’re shooting, it will stay at that bloom size. Then you have your hip-fire one, and no matter how fast you’re running, whether you’re jumping or not, it will always stay at that size. Like this one, right now when you shoot, the faster you shoot, the more inaccuracy you get. But instead of doing inaccuracy, why not just cap the amount of inaccuracy can have with a type of weapon, or just let them know this is what they’re going to get into, so it puts hard caps on engagement distances basically.” While Epic have surely heard what many have had to say about the matter over the recent weeks and months, but ever since introducing First Shot Accuracy, they have been careful not to make any drastic changes or overhauls that could throw off the current balance of Fortnite. They briefly introduced test server limited time modes in which they experimented with recoil based mechanics instead of bloom, but those have not been seen again in months.

  • TSM’s Myth shares the two ways that Fortnite can be “saved” – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth shares the two ways that Fortnite can be “saved” Captain of Team SoloMid’s professional Fortnite team, Myth, has come up with the two in-game changes needed to be made in order to “save” Fortnite Battle Royale. Over the past few weeks, Epic Games have added, removed, and adjusted things in Fortnite that have fundamentally changed how the game is played. Several of those major changes have come under scrutiny from the game’s vast player-base, including the likes of the X-4 Stormwing plane and Infinity Blade sword item. While the Infinity Blade has since been vaulted, the Stormwings continue to wreak havoc on the Fortnite map, much to the chagrin of many players. Despite the fact that Epic have made significant efforts to nerf the planes’ effectiveness, Myth believes that only their complete removal will take Fortnite back to the peaks of its playability. Vaulting planes would only be half of the plan, however, as Myth also mentioned that implementing glider redeploy for Quadcrashers would also be a significant step towards “saving” the game. Glider redeploy, of course, was a very popular mechanic added and subsequently removed from the default modes of Fortnite that allowed players to activate their glider anytime they fell from a height that was over 10 meters. While Myth knows that the complete return of glider redeploy is highly unlikely, he apparently feels that at least adding it for players jumping off Quadcrashers would help balance out the game. Interestingly enough, although the removal of planes has been called for by many in the community, adding glider redeploy for Quadcrashers seems to be a much more novel and original idea. We will have to wait and see if either one or both of these ideas will ever come into fruition, and if they do, whether they’ll significantly help “save” the game.

  • TSM’s Myth reveals what he thinks could be the Fortnite killer – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth reveals what he thinks could be the Fortnite killer Team SoloMid Fortnite team captain Myth has revealed what he thinks could ultimately dethrone Fortnite and take over the battle royale genre. The popular pro player took to social media on November 15 to predict that if there’s ever a battle royale game created that has good counterplay mechanics and no RNG, it could unseat Fortnite from its throne. RNG refers to Random Number Generator, which is a mechanic used to determine things such as luck in looting and shot accuracy. Myth’s idea is a bit radical, considering that RNG is, and always has been, a staple of the modern battle royale genre, a fact that he acknowledged in his tweet. “It probably won’t look/play anything like modern-day BR’s,” he tweeted. “But it will push the genre to places it’s never been.” First battle royal with good counterplay mechanics and 0 RNG will be the Fortnite killer. It probably won’t look / play anything like modern day BR’s but it will push the genre to places it’s never been. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 15, 2018 The comments section of the tweet shortly became full of discussion, with several users mentioning Darwin’s Project as a game that fits Myth’s description. However, Myth shot that idea down by calling it “the most unattractive combat system since Minecraft PVP.” Others contended that nothing could ever kill or unseat Fortnite, and that if the ultra-popular game were to die out, it would be because of its own doing or a massive shift in the players’ interests. As one of the most influential members of the Fortnite community, Myth has always been vocal and outspoken when it comes to expressing his views on the game and developers Epic Games. While his opinions have not always been positive, he has always been genuine in his intentions to improve and perfect the game for all players, which is why Epic likely take his comments, such as the one made today, with a grain of salt.

  • TSM’s Myth reveals the one Fortnite feature he wants for Thanksgiving – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth reveals the one Fortnite feature he wants for Thanksgiving Popular Twitch streamer Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has called for an FOV slider to be implemented into Fortnite Chapter 2 with a cheeky shot aimed at Epic Games. The Team SoloMid content creator has forged his career from his talents in Fortnite. After dominating duos with TSM Daequan, the pair’s popularity snowballed as Epic Games’ flagship battle royale continued to grow. Since Daequan’s hiatus from streaming, Myth’s fanbase has grown exponentially. Kabbani’s 5.5 million followers frequently tune-in to watch his competition fall at the helm of his flashy plays. Given his popularity within the Fortnite community, Myth is arguably one of the most influential personalities associated with the game. He has often used his platform to jest with fellow pros within the community or to address certain game-specific issues with Epic Games directly. This Thanksgiving, Myth continued in the same vein. While plenty of creators from around the world celebrated Thanksgiving and Tweeted what they were thankful for, he took the opportunity to follow suit — but with a cheeky “protest” aimed at Epic Games. In a Tweet posted on November 29, Kabbani reeled off a list of things he was thankful for. However, midway through the list, his post read: “Now that Epic isn’t looking, we can protest for the f**king FOV slider.” Here are some things I’m grateful for : Chocolate Streaming Family Friends Food Clothes Shelter Love Sunlight Art Games Technology Now That Epic Isnt Looking We Can Protest For The Fucking FOV Slider— Myth (@Myth_) November 29, 2019 Field of view (FOV) refers to the horizontal range of the observable world that can be seen in any given frame. With a higher FOV, players would be to view more of their surroundings, thus placing them in better stead in any given situation. The in-game default FOV is currently set at 80, while other games (such as Apex Legends), permit an adjustable range up to 110. Epic Games have previously planted their flag in relation to incorporating an FOV slider option, stating: “we seek to avoid optional settings which provide players with a significant gameplay advantage.” Although Epic’s stance is logical, since Fortnite is a cross-platform title, that hasn’t stopped the likes of Team Liquid Fortnite pro, Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo, requesting the feature too. Chaplo sent out a Tweet sent during Season 10 pleading for the feature to be added in what is now Chapter 2 — joining an extensive list of pros asking for the feature to be added. Given Myth’s success off the back of Fortnite, it’s evident why he’d be so passionate about the game’s features. Perhaps Epic will change their stance, in-light of the American’s appeal.

  • TSM’s Myth on the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Invites: “I don’t actually expect to get invited every weekend” – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth on the Fortnite Summer Skirmish Invites: “I don’t actually expect to get invited every weekend” Epic GamesAli ‘Myth’ Kabbani has shared his thoughts on the Fortnite Summer Skirmish invites after there was some confusion about the selection process. The TSM star believes that the weekly $250,000 tournaments are all part of Epic Games’ “master plan” as the game developer tries to figure out how the competitive scene will work. It came as somewhat of a surprise when the first Summer Skirmish lineup was announced and numerous high profile names were not included on the list, but Myth thinks that each week is a test for potential qualifier tournaments in the future. “It makes a lot of sense for them not to invite every single pro to these events, or every single streamer to these events, simply because they want to see how exactly qualifiers are going to go down.” With Epic announcing an incredible $100,000,000 for competitive Fortnite in the 2018 – 2019 season, some major events that involve open qualification stages are bound to appear in the near future. The vast majority of Fortnite tournaments that fans have been able to tune into so far have been invite only and featured all of the biggest streaming personalities and best professional players. However, with competitive Fortnite still being in its infancy, open events with a huge prize pool will be a massive opportunity for unknown players to break out and make a name for themselves. Read More: FaZe’s Cizzorz Hits Insane, No-Scope Trick Shot with Hunting Rifle to Get Victory Royale in Fortnite – With all of this in mind, Myth explains that he does not expect to be invited to ever Summer Skirmish event, and that nobody else should either: “I don’t actually expect to get invited every weekend, and I understand if I’m not invited every weekend. And I think that it’s important that not everybody is invited every weekend, because they need to see how Fortnite plays out under different controlled environments”

  • TSM’s Myth left in disbelief after being killed on Fortnite by a plane – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth left in disbelief after being killed on Fortnite by a plane Epic GamesTeam Solo Mid streamer Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani was left dumbfounded after being bizarrely killed by a plane during a Fortnite solo game. Despite receiving a number of updates in the game’s recent patch – including a nerf to the damage it deals to a player whilst crashing into them – the X-4 Stormwing attack plane is still an incredibly powerful weapon in Fortnite, yet, it shouldn’t be able to kill a player with a direct hit. So, Myth wouldn’t have expected to be killed when hit by a diving enemy late into a solo game as he was during his December 18 stream. The streamer, who was in a build battle with a player he had been chasing, struggled to finish off his kill. After a few seconds, Myth was able to finish off the straggling player with two bursts of his shotgun. However, before he could pick up any loot from the fallen foe, Myth was dove upon by a X-4 Stormwing plane and killed despite having full health and 75 points from his shield. Confused by what had just happened, Myth called out: “Didn’t they just nerf that?! Dude. Didn’t they nerf the amount of damage it does? Whaaat?” Whilst Myth had an extremely large amount of health, the pilot of the Stormwing was able to kill him without a direct hit – something that is pretty difficult without knocking someone into a high fall. Judging by that, it is quite possible that the TSM streamer was killed by a hacker as he also didn’t take damage from any passenger that could have shot from the plane. Hackers have been prevalent in Fortnite for some time, with Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins catching yet another on stream recently. However, this plane incident looks to be a fresh potential hack so it’ll be interesting to see if Epic Games addresses it, should it turn out to be a hack.

  • TSM’s Myth Hits Out at Epic Games for Lack of Information on Private Servers – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth Hits Out at Epic Games for Lack of Information on Private Servers One of the world’s biggest Fortnite stars is demanding answers from Epic Games due to the lack of private servers available for pro players. Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani shot to fame as one of the first pioneers of complex building in Fortnite in early 2018, and with that reputation, he joined Team Solomid, and eventually moved to a team house in California. Since joining TSM he has gone on to become the second most followed streamer on Twitch’s platform, sitting only behind Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. Despite all of his success streaming, Myth still has a competitive dream, and he’s started to share his frustration at the lack of private servers available on Fortnite. When Epic Games announced they’d be pumping $100m into the first season of Fortnite esports, many expected private servers to become available. That hasn’t happened. If pro players want to scrim against other good opposition, they’re forced to attempt to play against each other by coordinating a large group of players and hoping they get matched in the same lobby. This frustration boiled over on August 12th when Myth demanded to know why there is no servers. He posted the following message on his Twitter. “Okay…EPIC really needs to bump their clarity on what is happening with custom matches for pros. If its tech issues, tell us. If its an agenda, let us know. Please give us a reason why we can’t practice in a realistic environment when millions are on the line.” At the time of writing there has yet to be a response from Epic Games about why there aren’t sufficient practice servers. Their Summer Skirmish series continues on Friday, August 17 when another $500k is put on the line.

  • TSM’s Myth hits out at Epic for timing of Fortnite Winter Royale qualifier – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth hits out at Epic for timing of Fortnite Winter Royale qualifier TSM Pro player and popular streamer Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has voiced his frustration with the timing of Fortnite’s ‘Winter Royale’ open tournament, which boasts a massive $1 million in prizing. The Winter Royale is Fortnite’s first open tournament, where players from around the world can compete by simply playing qualification matches in online public matches. It also serves as qualification for the Fortnite World Cup in 2019, so there is a lot on the line for current and aspiring competitive players – which is why Myth is so frustrated. The Winter Royale was not only held the weekend of Thanksgiving, but also only announced on the Tuesday November 20, giving players only a matter of days to prepare. Myth, like others, had plans with family over the Thanksgiving holiday, meaning he was heading home to Michigan – and leaving his setup behind. Myth was happy and complimentary that Epic were “investing time and resources into the event system”, but feels that it could have been managed better. On Twitter, he questioned the planning of the event “during one of the biggest American holidays.” Welp, dinner with my family so I have to stop trying to qualify for a 1 million dollar tournament. Ohh I wonder the thought it would be the brightest idea to plan this shit on one of the biggest American holidays. As @TSM_Daequan would say… THIS GAME TRAAAAAAASH. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 25, 2018 Playing his first day of qualifying matches on a 60Hz refresh rate monitor, he has set out to purchase a 144Hz monitor to continue his matches while not at home. Myth had even ordered a computer to his family’s home, but it failed to arrive on time, causing yet another set back as he tries to ensure qualification as one of Fortnite’s most recognized pro players. He later apoligized for being so negative, but held firm on his stance that the Winter Royale “could have been managed better.” Sorry for my latest tweets and how negative they’ve , I just feel like all of this could have been managed better. Other than my ranting I hope everyone has a good time qualifying. LOOOOOOVEEE YAAAA — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 25, 2018 Myth wasn’t the only high profile player to run into problems on day one of qualifying either, as FaZe Clan pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was plagued by hackers and stream snipers. The Winter Royale qualification continues over the weekend of November 25 and 26, with all players getting their opportunity to qualify for Fortnite’s biggest event yet.

  • TSM’s Myth blasts Epic Games over the return of Glider Redeploy in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth blasts Epic Games over the return of Glider Redeploy in Fortnite Epic Games announced the return of the Glider Redeploy, with a twist, in Fortnite on January 14, but it looks as though TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani isn’t happy to see it return in its new state. The Fortnite community was hit with a big surprise when Epic detailed the return of Glider Redeploy that will now be an item instead of an inherent mechanic that players have access to at all times. While many players ended up coming around on the item by the time it was eventually removed from normal game modes, it sounds like the new implementation isn’t exactly what Myth was hoping for. Fortnite devs confirm that major improvements are coming soon to Legendary Bush itemInitially, Myth sounds incredibly happy upon hearing that Glider Redeploy was coming back. “Let’s go, Epic!” Myth says as he heads to Twitter to find out more. “You know what, dude? Season 7, we finally get a win. Let’s go!” It’s at this point, however, that he reads the Tweet and discovers that the feature will be coming back as an item that will be scattered around the map. “We’re bringing back Glider Redeploy in 7.20 as a….WHAT THE FUCK?!” Myth yells upon finding out the details of the returning feature. “Epic! No! What are they doing?! WHY?!” Myth didn’t seem to be alone in his feelings as his chat was filled with many question marks and exclamations of “An item?!?!” as everyone tried to come to grips with the news. Even Myth’s teammate Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco posted similar sentiments to his Twitter, saying “Instead of putting [Glider Redeploy] behind a wall of RNG due to finding the item or not, [it] could just make you spawn with X amount of charges that you use whenever.” If they’re gonna bring back glider redeploy….. Instead of putting it behind a wall of RNG due to finding the item or not, could just make you spawn in with X amount of charges that you have to use whenever. Thoughts? (I think 3 or 5 charges would be good so you can’t just spam) pic.twitter.com/O4US6TpvCx — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) January 14, 2019 As with any new feature or item introduced to Fortnite, Epic Games has stated that they will be watching Glider Redeploy in its new form and will adjust the item accordingly over time. The v7.20 update is set to go live on January 15 at 2am PST / 5am EST / 10am GMT, meaning there won’t be long before these players can get their hands on the new iteration of Glider Redeploy themselves.

  • TSM’s Myth and other Fortnite pros call out Epic Games for having a double standard for Ninja – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth and other Fortnite pros call out Epic Games for having a double standard for Ninja Several popular Fortnite professional players, including Team SoloMid team captain Myth, are accusing developer Epic Games of having a double standard when it comes to Twitch superstar Ninja. Myth took to social media on December 11 to complain about what he feels is favoritism being shown when it comes to Ninja compared to other popular Fortnite competitors and content creators. He specifically pointed out that Ninja was being highlighted excessively during the first heat of the semi-finals of the $1 million Winter Royale tournament, even during moments that were not significant to the overall outcome. Both Myth and Ninja played in the semi-final and neither was able to qualify for the grand final, but Myth’s major contention after the competition was with the production team. Read More: Fortnite pros voice frustrations about the Infinity Blade during the NA Winter Royale Finals – “Why the fuck do they highlight every time Ninja dies. There’s legit a really shitty double standard for him when to comes to what the production teams shows,” he tweeted. “I would rather watch people rotating and not someone just getting sniper simply because they have a name.” I would rather watch people rotating and not someone just getting sniped simply because they have a name. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) December 11, 2018 Team Liquid’s Vivid, another participant in the first heat, also chimed in with his own two cents: “Even the casters noticed this by saying ‘production team has no chill.’ Annoying in my opinion as well.” CounterLogic Gaming pro Wish felt like the issue went beyond just Ninja, and that the idea of taking attention away from important in-game moments is a problem. “There’s a really consistent tendency of the camera swapping away from fights just to replay a big name death,” he said. “Literally kills the fluidity in the broadcast. If there’s action, stay, show everything else AFTER as a recap.” Myth later made it clear that his comments were not aimed at Ninja in any way, but rather the team handling the on-screen production of the Winter Royale tournament. As for Ninja’s response, the popular streamer simply quoted Myth’s original tweet with the “thinking face” emoji, which does not reveal much about what he’ thinks of Myth’s comments or the validity of his accusations. Whether or not the Epic Games will adjust their production strategy based on what Myth is accusing remains to be seen, but there is little reason to doubt what these pro players are claiming. Ninja is the biggest name in online gaming, and especially Fortnite, so it’s hard to blame the producers for wanting to give the superstar as much screen-time as possible. However, there is also some stock in what Myth and the pros are contending, in that no popular figure, not even Ninja, should be taking attention away from important moments of the competition, especially when the high profile players can just be highlighted in a post-game recap anyway.

  • TSM’s Myth and FaZe Clan’s Tfue Show the Beauty of Playground Mode With Insane Fortnite Build Battles – Dexerto

TSM’s Myth and FaZe Clan’s Tfue Show the Beauty of Playground Mode With Insane Fortnite Build Battles Two of the world’s best Fortnite players, FaZe Clan’s Tfue and TSM’s Myth, showed the true beauty of the new Playground LTM with an absolutely ridiculous building battle. After a shaky start that saw it disabled for a number of days, Playground Mode is up and running in Fortnite Battle Royale and it’s just as good as everyone predicted. The Limited Time Mode is the perfect environment to practice in as materials are significantly easier to come by, friendly fire is enabled so you can play with friends, and respawns are unlimited. Professional players have certainly been taking advantage of this and have been playing each other in 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 games with building battles that are nothing short of spectacular. With both players being known for their impressive building and editing skills, the end result was always going to be a build fight for the ages. In the end it was Myth that came out on top of this particular contest as he always seemed to be one step ahead, but the quick thinking and mechanical of both parties is something to be marvelled at: This is just one of multiple battles that take place in these 1 vs. 1 fights and players often try to use different strategies as they attempt to improve their personal level. Fans of top streamers have been enjoying these matchups and they are sure to be sorely missed when Playground Mode is eventually disabled. With the amount of time it took to finally get the Playground working, there is a level of hope within the community that it will stay live for longer than a week, which is the standard time for these Limited Time Modes. • TSM’s HighDistortion Clutches Up To Win His Fortnite Match Just One Second Before Servers Get Shut Down – Dexerto

TSM’s HighDistortion Clutches Up To Win His Fortnite Match Just One Second Before Servers Get Shut Down Aside from surviving and getting eliminations. time is another important aspect to consider when playing Fortnite: Battle Royale. Good players will always keep one eye on the miniature timer under the mini-map in order to avoid getting caught off guard by the incoming Storm. However, time can play roles other than with the Storm, as Team SoloMid content creator Jimmy ‘HighDistortion’ Moreno was quick to find out when he found himself up against the clock. Playing with several of his friends early on June 27th, the streamer was nearing the end of his match when he realized that the Fortnite servers were moments away from being shut down for the launch of the v4.5 update. As is usually the case with the release of any major game update, Epic Games will disable matchmaking about 20-25 minutes before shutting off the servers, giving players who were already in a match the chance to finish. Knowing he did not have much time left, the former Gears of War pro turned Fortnite extraordinaire frantically searched for the last three opponent alive, eventually finding them in Snobby Shores. Trying his hardest to eliminate them as fast as he could, HighDistortion eventually got all three players, with the servers shutting down almost exactly one second after he got the final kill. Although HighDistortion has tallied up countless wins in the many months he has played Fortnite, this Victory Royale is likely one he will never forget.

  • TSM’s Daequan Reveals What He Likes and Dislikes About Fortnite’s Season 5 Changes – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan Reveals What He Likes and Dislikes About Fortnite’s Season 5 Changes The life of a professional esports player can be severely affected by the changes made by developers to their particular game. TSM Daequan is one of the biggest names in the Fortnite community and lives alongside three other pro players in the Team Solomid house in California. The highly entertaining streamer has a history of being blunt when it comes to saying how he feels about changes to Fortnite, and he’s now provided his feedback on the changes made for Season 5. Fortnite’s weekly updates are one of the reasons the game has become so popular, but with the development team in a constant quest to balance the gameplay, while also attempting to introduce new weapons, often people don’t agree. Just over 24 hours after Season 5’s update introduced golf carts and various weapon changes, Daequan Tweeted out his thoughts on what he likes, and what needs to be improved. Thoughts: Golf Carts are dope. Fast rotations & drifting is fun. Map changes are pretty cool, rifts are nice for rotations as well so you have less time running around aimlessly. Bring double shotty back it wasn’t even that good; Was just fun. Pump delay isn’t justified anymore. — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) July 13, 2018 He continued by explaining that he’d like to see more mats when farming, and doubled down on his stance about the changes to the shotgun. ALSO: Buff mats per hit. Additionally, this weapons patch promotes the opposite of diversity. It’s very bland. Taking out sacrificing something in order to run double shotty literally just makes mostly everyone use the same loadout. TSM’s Daequan Really Doesn’t Like C4 in Fortnite and Has an Idea on How It Can Be Improved Team SoloMid professional Fortnite player ‘Daequan’ has made his feelings clear about the Remote Explosives (C4) in Fortnite. He tweeted out his displeasure with how strong the C4 is in terms of destroying builds and structures, and presented an idea for how they can be balanced and improved. Added in March, Fortnite’s Remote Explosives were designed to wipe out structures and eliminate players that were in its blast radius upon explosion. However, many among the player-base have expressed that the C4 is too overpowered, and a few randomly thrown units can cause a lot of damage. Read More: 100 Thieves’ NICKMERCS Has an Interesting Idea for the Kill Count Indicator in Fortnite – “Nobody is Saying No!” – While many are against the amount of health damage the explosives inflict on players, Daequan’s main gripe is with how quickly the C4 can tear down even the most sturdy and reinforced builds. He had this to say in response to a Twitter poll posted by his teammate ‘Hamlinz’. The thing about c4 that’s annoying imo is the fact that you can spend 300 resources and 1 c4 destroys it all even if you have a solid foundation. Just need to nerf the radius imo so you have to strategically place them and not just throw them around like a maniac. Even Epic have indirectly revealed that they too believe the Remote Explosives are too strong and not competitive, having banned them from the recent $250,000 ‘Summer Skirmish’ Duo tournament.

  • TSM’s Daequan Makes Another Case For Shotguns to be Buffed in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan Makes Another Case For Shotguns to be Buffed in Fortnite Team SoloMid professional Fortnite player ‘Daequan’ has yet again expressed his frustrations with the current state of shotguns in Fortnite. An outspoken critic of how much shotguns have been nerfed, Daequan contends that the weapons will not become viable again until they are strengthened. The pro player took to social media on August 1 to propose how Epic Games can improve shotguns, specifically the Pump, to make them practical options once again. Pumps need to one tap or not have that long pull time. The only reason the long pull was justified was because it one tapped or you could double shotty & now you can’t do either. Pump is doodoo and tac shotguns are literally worthless cause everyone & their grandma has an op Smg. Pumps need to one tap or not have that long pull time. Pump is doodoo and tac shotguns are literally worthless cause everyone & their grandma has an op Smg. — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) August 1, 2018 Regardless of whether you prefer using shotguns or not, Daequan’s argument does make sense. With Epic having neutralized the ‘double shotgun’ meta by adding a delay when switching between shotguns, coupled with the unreliability of the damage dealt and long pull-out time of the Pump, the weapon class has become essentially useless. This is especially true considering the current popular meta of using high fire-rate weapons, such as the SMGs or Drum Gun, which have proven to be extremely powerful, even after the latest set of balancing adjustments pushed out by Epic. With the chances being slim to none that the Season 5 changes to shotguns will be reversed, the only hope for players like Daequan is that Pump’s damage and/or pull-out time gets improved dramatically.

  • TSM’s Daequan Gets Hit With Instant Karma After Being Too Cocky During Friday Fortnite Tournament – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan Gets Hit With Instant Karma After Being Too Cocky During Friday Fortnite Tournament TSM Player Daequan “Daequan” Loco took top 12 in the most recent Fortnite Friday tournament with his duo and fellow TSM teammate Juan “CaMiLLs” Camilla, and is considered one of the top players in the game. However, that didn’t stop him being fooled by a player camping in a building with nothing but a trap – as Daequan was hit with instant karma after he danced on his opponents body. The duo are one of two teams from the Team SoloMid lineup taking part in the weekly tournaments, with Ali “Myth” Kabbani and Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin also partnering up. In addition to the popular content creators, there are a number of these ‘professional’ Fortnite players competing in the tournament, partly as practice for the upcoming Fortnite World Cup which is set to focus on duo and solo matches, rather than squads (teams of four). More: But what makes Fortnite so popular is its accessibility to players of varying skill levels, and this clip from one of Daequan’s matches in the June 29th tournament exemplifies this perfectly. Feeling extra confident, Daequan spots an enemy cowering in one of the small shelters dotted around the map and decided to execute the spike move, laying the floor of the shelter with the deadly item. Feeling rather chuffed with his ingenuity, Daequan performs a smug dance for his thousands of viewers before moving in to loot his fallen foe – who has a trap of their own laying in wait. Thankfully CaMiLLs was nearby to immediately revive his teammate, and the duo did go on to win the match and send their opponents AlmightySneaky and Pack A Puncher to the losers bracket. The pair went on to win their next match before falling to eventual runners up, FaZe Clan players Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, and were then surprisingly beaten in the losers bracket by YouTubers Kwebbelkop and LDYoung. You can watch Daequan streaming professional level Fortnite almost daily on his Twitch Channel.

  • TSM’s Daequan explains why you should change weapons when opening doors on Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan explains why you should change weapons when opening doors on Fortnite Team SoloMid’s Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco keyed fans in on a mechanic in Fortnite that could vastly improve many aspects of the game. In a game like Fortnite, being efficient with your actions is imperative, meaning players are always looking for ways to save as much time as possible. On November 27, Daequan gave his viewers an impromptu tutorial on how to go through doorways without the stuttering or slow-down that would normally occur. “When you open a door, it takes time to shoot. Say you’re running and you go through a door, you’ll start walking slower, right,” Daequan said. “But if you swap weapons, you don’t lose any speed.” To do it right, the player would simply need to switch weapons as they attempt to open a door. It’s a fast, seemingly pointless mechanic, but just like a bunny hop in CS:GO, it’s one of those processes that isn’t useful until done in certain situations. The real benefit lies in the split seconds it affords the players. Whether someone is chasing a low-health player to secure the kill, or running for their life in a building, remembering to switch weapons when they come to the door at the end of the hallway could be the small factor to keep them in the game. The Winter Royale Finals are set to kick off on November 30 and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see little mechanics like these frequently popping up.

TSM ZexRow destroys Tfue, Cloak and 72hrs in insane 1v6 Fortnite clutch TSM Youtube /Tfue/cloakzyFortnite, clutching the game against some of the top players such as Tfue and Cloak. The popular professional Fortnite player was among the some of the highest placing players at the Fortnite World Cup, placing 9th after his performance alongside Vinny1x in the Duo finals. ZexRow once again demonstrated just how good he is at the popular battle royale game by quickly dispatching some of the best pro players in a 1v6 clutch during the Champion’s Trio Cash cup. The Fortnite star had to fend for himself after teammates MackWood1x and yung calculator were downed early leaving him to clutch all alone to stay alive. ZexRow showed off his mechanical skill on Fortnite by outbuilding and editing to quickly rack up some kills as the final storm was closing in on him, killing the likes of Cloak, Tfue, and 72hrs in the process. When ZexRow had completed the clutch with the final kill on fellow pro Joel, he shouted in excitement after his ridiculous feat before claiming he was the best: ”I’m the fucking best! Many fans were impressed by the ZexRow’s plays, claiming that the clip could be in the running for the best individual play of the year on Fortnite considering the level of competition he was up against. ZexRow’s trio went on to later claim victory at the NA-East Champion’s Trio Cash Cup after earning 206 points in the tournament and with the TSM star playing like this it’s easy to see why.

  • TSM Unveil Fortnite Team House in California ft Myth, Daequan and Hamlinz – Full House Tour – Dexerto

TSM Unveil Fortnite Team House in California ft Myth, Daequan and Hamlinz – Full House Tour Despite Fortnite Esports barely getting off the ground, storied organization Team SoloMid (TSM) are proving their dedication and faith in the game by splashing out on an impressive team house. The TSM Fortnite team is of course home to some of the most popular Fortnite streamers and players, Ali “Myth” Kabbani, Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin, Juan “CaMiLLs” Camilla and Daequan. The squad are yet to take part in any official competition, of course mainly because there hasn’t been anything announced in the form of official tournaments or leagues. More: YouTuber Who Eliminated Myth and Nadeshot from KEEMSTAR Fortnite Tournament Kicked Out For Cheating – But they have already built themselves quite the reputation thanks to their streams, with Myth especially seeing a massive boom in his following both on Twitch and YouTube. So with their combined followings, it is likely that TSM will look to increase the output of content between the members, in similar ways to other esports organizations such as OpTic Gaming or FaZe Clan. When Fortnite Esports inevitably establishes itself properly this team will have already built themselves a large fan base. The house tour shows off the incredible living space provided for these future Fortnite pro players, complete with individual rooms and setups – and a large backyard area, possibly big enough for a pool. • TSM secure victory in Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 1 – Final placements – Dexerto

TSM secure victory in Fortnite Ninja Battles Week 1 – Final placements Epic Games/NinjaStreaming star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins hosted his own Fortnite tournament on May 28 with a number of high-profile players getting involved. If you didn’t manage to catch the action, we’ve got a recap of the event and final placements. With the FNCS Invitational finished and Epic Games going back to holding Cash Cups, professional Fortnite players have been branching out into different online events. Popular pro Benjy ‘Benjyfishy’ Fish hosted his own European dominated event on May 27 with a $5,000 top prize. A few days later, it was the turn of Ninja and the first week of the $80,000 Ninja Battles event that pit some of the best players from North America against each other. Ninja Battles is a new weekly event in Fortnite. Moving away from the usual competitive rules, week one of Ninja Battles saw a number of high-profile players face-off in a trios event – with Ninja himself taking part in the action alongside Liquid Vivid and Co1azo. Even though he had top-class players on his side, Ninja didn’t manage to claim victory in the first week of Ninja Battles. Instead, that honor went to the trio of TSM ZexRow, TSM MackWood, and Yung Calculator after they tied for first place with Liquid Riversan, NRG Edgey, and Liquid Cented but had but the upper hand in the tie-breaker. Ninja Battles Week 1 – Final Placements There were also spot inside the top ten for players who had impressive showings in the FNCS Invitational. Most notably, the NA West trio of 100 Thieves’ Arkhram, 100 Thieves’ rehx, and NRG’s EpikWhale managed to finish sixth – tied on points with fifth-placed Chap, Scoped, and AV. TSM Commandment, who won the FNCS week one in NA East, teamed up with Fortnite World Cup winner Bugha and Liquid’s STRETCH to round out the top ten. ZexRow, MackWood, Calc – Riversan, Cented, Edgy – Bizzle, Megga, Emad – NateHill, Funkbomb, BullyWYD – Chap, Scoped, AV – Arkham, EpikWhale, Rehx – Erok, Zyfa, Avery – Reverse2k,Slackes, Keys – JaredFPS, Tilt, Innocents – Bugha, Commandment, Stretch – SypherPK, Hogman, Bini – 72hrs, Zayt, Saf – NickEh30, Replays, Punisher – Ninja, Vivid, Co1Azo – Ceice, Kreo, BuckeFPS – Assault, Khanada, Unknown Army – BrookeAB, Slix, Furious – Ship, Plead, Stameyz – Tinaraes, Maddie, IcarleeFN – Jaomock, Shibot, JDWBTW – After their win, ZexRow landed himself in hot water after mocking the players who finished outside the top ten – seemingly being banned from the future Ninja Battles event. However, the Team SoloMid member did apologize to Ninja, the viewers, and tournament organizers in a Twitlonger after the fact for his “immature” actions. The second week of Ninja Battles will get underway on June 4.

  • TSM punish ZexRow for outburst in Ninja Fortnite tournament – Dexerto

TSM punish ZexRow for outburst in Ninja Fortnite tournament TSMTeam SoloMid (TSM) have responded to the controversy surrounding one of their Fortnite pros, Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro, that led to him seemingly being prohibited from playing in Ninja’s future Fortnite events. Ninja Battles featuring Fortnite was announced on May 28 with the brand new event spanning six weeks and giving players the chance to win a slice of the $80,000 prize pool each time around. However, despite winning the first week of the tournament, TSM pro ZexRow has seemingly been banned from all future events. This followed an explicit post-tournament interview, in which, the 19-year-old hit out at his fellow competitors, commenting: “Everyone that didn’t place in top 10 can suck my d***. They’re f***ing s****ers. I don’t know why they talk s***, they’re actually also dogs*** and braindead.” Following the announcement that he would be prohibited from participating in Ninja’s future tournaments, ZexRow’s organization have now produced a lengthy statement condemning his actions. “We are extremely disappointed in the comments made by Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro and take this matter very seriously,” the statement reads. “Effective immediately, he has been fined one month’s salary. His behavior was absolutely inappropriate, and does not represent the values of TSM or our brand partners.” They also confirm that the fine will be donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, a charity that works with young people across the United States. “TSM echoes his apology to fans and the community, and he has expressed his sincere regret to us as well,” the response continued. “We will be providing ZexRow with professional counseling and training, helping him to work on how he conducts himself – both publicly and privately.” ZexRow joined TSM in December of 2018, at the height of Fortnite’s dominance in the world of video games. While he remains a member of the organization, the statement confirmed that another similar incident would result in him being removed from TSM. “That said, we have informed him that we have a no tolerance policy for this kind of behavior,” the org concluded, “and that we will be forced to part ways if something like this should occur again in the future.” However, they noted that they “believe in Zex” and “have faith that with serious personal reflection and focus, he can move forward from this.” Responses to TSM’s statement were largely positive, agreeing that the action taken is reflective of ZexRow’s mistake. The organization has been clouded in controversy of late, surrounding the relationship between DoubleLift and Leena and a potential conflict of interest. The response to this particular issue, however, has been widely praised.

  • TSM pro Daequan and Yanni win the Dr DisRespect and BoomTV $10K Code Red Forntite tournament (Week 2) – recap and final placements – Dexerto

TSM pro Daequan and Yanni win the Dr DisRespect and BoomTV $10K Code Red Forntite tournament (Week 2) – recap and final placements Team SoloMid pro player Daequan and his partner Yanni have won the second running of the $10,000 Code Red Fortnite tournament, hosted by popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect, BoomTV, and Esports Arena. The pair edged out Luminosity Gaming’s SypherPK and pro player Symfuhny in the grand finals to secure the $6,000 first place prize and the prestige of a Code Red championship. Before reading on, please go over the scoring format so to better understand the remained of this recap. HOW TO WIN: Code Red is a double-elimination tournament that will start off with 16 teams of two players each. Since there are no publicly available custom games in Fortnite, the competition will follow the standard ‘total of two’ format. Each round, the Duos that are matched up together will queue into a Squads lobby and try to get more eliminations than their opponent. After two maps, the team with the more kills wins. If kills are tied after the two maps, a third map will be played, with the first Duo to get to five total kills first winning. If neither team gets to five, the one with the higher number of eliminations wins. Having reached the finals by virtue of winning the Winners Bracket, Daequan and Yanni had to only win one of two matches to claim the championship. Meanwhile Sypher and Symfuhny, who reached the final by winning four straight matches in the Losers Bracket, had to win back-to-back matches in the final if they were to be crowned champions. Knowing they were at a disadvantage, Sypher and Symfuhny came out aggressively in match one, taking a quick 16-6 lead after the first map. This momentum carried into map two, which they won 19-7 to win the match 35-13 on aggregate and reset the bracket, forcing a winner-take-all match two. Having lost their one game cushion, Daequan and Yanni regained their composure as they took map one 14-10, which put everything on the line for map two. With the margin razor tight, Sypher and Symfuhny won the map 11-9, but it was not enough to overcome their four elimination deficit, which meant that Daequan and Yanni came out on top 23-22 and took home the victory. .tg {border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:0;} .tg td{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;padding:10px 5px;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;overflow:hidden;word-break:normal;border-color:black;} .tg th{font-family:Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-weight:normal;padding:10px 5px;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;overflow:hidden;word-break:normal;border-color:black;} .tg .tg-bj39{background-color:#3166ff;color:#ffffff;border-color:inherit;text-align:center;vertical-align:top} .tg .tg-gnwc{background-color:#d4af37;border-color:inherit;text-align:center;vertical-align:top} .tg .tg-34fe{background-color:#c0c0c0;border-color:inherit;text-align:center;vertical-align:top} .tg .tg-c3ow{border-color:inherit;text-align:center;vertical-align:top} .tg .tg-0pky{border-color:inherit;text-align:left;vertical-align:top} .tg .tg-im34{background-color:#d07e2e;border-color:inherit;text-align:center;vertical-align:top}Winners Bracket The second running of this tournament featured some of the biggest names in the Fortnite community, including pro players and content creators from orgs such as 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, Team SoloMid, Ghost Gaming, Team Liquid, and others. The winners of the first running of Code Red were TSM Hamlinz and Reverse2K, but neither participated in this week’s competition. • TSM Myth’s new ‘zone war’ idea would bring fast-paced TDM to Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Myth’s new ‘zone war’ idea would bring fast-paced TDM to Fortnite Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has been a part of the Fortnite scene pretty much since its launch and now he is looking for new ways to push the game forward. Pro TSM Fortnite player Myth was one of the first players to make a name for himself in Fortnite. While he isn’t the biggest name anymore in the esports side of things for Fortnite, he’s still a popular streamer in his own right. On March 22 Myth created a mini-thread of tweets about ideas he has for a battle royale, whether it’s Fortnite or something new entirely. His idea focused on finding a way to make a battle royale as exciting as they become in the mid-to-late game when the action gets frantic and there is more fight since the players are in such close proximity. Myth wants to emulate fast-paced action Do you guys think its possible for a game to emulate the fast paced intense action that fortnite BR late games provide without the early and mid game or BR’s?? I’ve been theory crafting some stuff but im interested to hear yalls thoughts. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) March 22, 2019 It seems like the part of Fortnite and other battle royales Myth enjoys the most is the part where all the looting is done and the fighting has begun. He wants to make a game that would emulate the mid-to-late game where players are all geared up and ready to go for the victory. In the pro scene, this is easily the most exciting part to watch since that is when all of the action takes place, especially in Fortnite where the players play much slower than usual. It’s hard to envision a battle royale like that unless players just start with loot because a big part of BRs is that early-game looting that sets you up for the end game. This is definitely an interesting idea because it’s easy to see how the beginning of a match is the most boring part of a round. Will Zone War ever be a part of Fortnite? This is a rough concept but I think when the tools are available to create such a thing I would love to try it out. pic.twitter.com/YCnkzvwvxD — Myth (@TSM_Myth) March 22, 2019 Myth also thinks a ‘Zone War’ game mode would work quite well in Fortnite and even thinks it’ll be a big part of Fortnite’s future. This would be a mode that would greatly speed up the pace of game and instead of being a battle royale it’d instead be team deathmatch. Your structures would disappear quickly and you’d be limited on materials from the get-go. This mode would encourage constant action between players as there will be nothing for them to hide behind since there would be no farming or protection. Fortnite could easily implement something like this but the real question is will they ever do it? It would certainly make for a good LTM.

  • TSM Myth trolls Fortnite console players and Reddit laps it up – Dexerto

TSM Myth trolls Fortnite console players and Reddit laps it up Epic GamesFortnite’s online community is always on the lookout for interactions from big personalities to share and upvote on Reddit, but little did they know Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani’s latest comments about console players was actually a hoax. The Team SoloMid player posted an in-jest message to his Twitter account, which stated that the Twitch streamer had not only completed a course for editing on console, but had a new found respect for all Fortnite players on the platform. His tweet reached the front page of the Fortnite BR subreddit, attracting over 5,400 upvotes at the time of writing. Myth’s tweet was shared with the game’s online community by Reddit user Chef_BoyardeeBr, who wrote: “It’s nice seeing someone large in the Fortnite community show their respect for controller players.” While many people saw this as a nice gesture from the professional player, comments made during his stream on March 22 reveal that the he was fooling around the whole time to get upvotes. “Man, I have so much respect for console players,” Myth said. “I’m just saying that so Reddit takes it and I get max upvoted. I don’t really mean it, I don’t really mean it. “I know that I’ll get front page of Reddit if I say that,” he added, and his prediction turned out to be an accurate one as well. There has long been a debate in the Fortnite world about which is the best platform to play the game on, with many pros – clearly – preferring to play alongside other fellow PC players. Whether you appreciate Myth’s comments or not, there’s no denying that he baited fans perfectly here and his plan came off. It just goes to show how easily streamer, or pro players alike, can trick fans if they really want to.

  • TSM Myth tries Fortnite on console to give his verdict on Aim Assist debate – Dexerto

TSM Myth tries Fortnite on console to give his verdict on Aim Assist debate Nickmercs/TfueAfter Ninja suggested that players using controllers on PC should have no aim-assist, a debate sparked in the community with lots of top players involved, the latest being TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani. NICKMERCS, who uses a controller himself and is regarded as one of the very best, argued that “anyone with a brain” knows that using a controller puts you at a serious disadvantage vs keyboard and mouse “in the grand scheme.” FaZe Clan pro Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney also sided with NICKMERCS, saying that Fortnite without aim assist for controller players would not be enjoyable, concluding “dude, just give them aim assist.” So, in an effort to educate himself on the ways of controller Fortnite, before giving his verdict on the aim assist debate, Myth decided to plug in an Xbox One controller and give it a shot. After some time with the controller, which included some impressive kills with the hand cannon among others, Myth gave his first impressions. “Listen, I’mma tell you right now, you console players, y’all on some bullshit. I’mma keep it one hundred with you.” However, at the end of his session with the controller, his opinions on aiming with assistance became more clear. Myth believes that while aiming is still easier and more precise with a mouse, ‘tracking’ opponents is made easier on console due to the aim assist. “All I’m saying is that this [controller], makes tracking easy. You can track better with this, than you can with a mouse. Tracking – not aiming – tracking. [Controller] is easier to track with, not aiming. Mouse wins aiming.” Epic Games recently announced that Fortnite would be supporting native keyboard and mouse inputs on Xbox One, which will put players into lobbies with other keyboard and mouse players only. However, when using a controller on PC, there are no separated lobbies, meaning keyboard and mouse players (with no aim assist) will occasionally come up against a controller opponent, which is what kicked off the debate initially. Epic Games’ decision making when it comes to player inputs is more focused on attracting the most players possible, and not excluding anyone based on their input preferences, which is partly why it reached a record breaking concurrent player count of 8 million, earlier in November.

  • Fortnite: TSM Myth shows TimTheTatman overpowered BRUTE Mech exploit – Dexerto

Fortnite: TSM Myth shows TimTheTatman overpowered BRUTE Mech exploit Twitter: TSM_Myth / Epic gamesPopular Fortnite glitch to TimTheTatman and DrLupo, which allows players to quickly fly across the map in the new BRUTE Mech suits. The release of Fortnite Season X has come with a lot of new changes, such as the addition of the new BRUTE Mech suit which many in the community have spoken out against this latest addition to the game. The new Mech suits, which are already deemed as overpowered by many fans, may have become even worse, after this new exploit was uncovered. The TSM star, Myth, showed the move on stream, while playing with TimTheTatman and DrLupo, which allows players inside the Mech suits to rapidly spam the jump button, allowing them to easily fly across large portions of the map in seconds. The glitch allows players to completely bypass the standard cooldown which is normally on the BRUTE’s boost by quickly leaving and entering the Mech between each jump. After getting their hands on the BRUTE again Myth displayed how effective the exploit could be for Mech suit users, “Okay, so now you can immediately get out and just do it again? Wow that is unreal.” Tim added, while Myth was dashing across the map. Epic Games have yet to comment on this potentially game-breaking glitch, but, if they’re aware, they will no doubt be working on patching the it in the next update. Many players and popular content creators are calling for the removal of BRUTE Mech’s all together, such as Tfue, who has been very vocal about his opinion on the new ‘vehicle’. An ‘Epic Games expert’ gave some fans hope by saying a nerf would be on the way, and that the Mechs “might” be removed from competitive modes. Although many are unhappy with the addition of the BRUTE’s to the game, there seems to no immediate plans to vault the armored suits just yet.

  • TSM Myth shares his thoughts on the controversial Glider Re-deploy mechanic in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Myth shares his thoughts on the controversial Glider Re-deploy mechanic in Fortnite While many Fortnite pros have been vocal about their dislike of Fortnite’s new Glider Re-deploy mechanic, Team SoloMid’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani looks to have come around on it. One of the most vocal members in the Fortnite community, it was only a matter of time before Myth gave his thoughts on the Glider Re-deploy system that was added to the game with the V6.20 update on October 24. In a lengthy discussion with fans and other players on Twitter, Myth has made it clear that he sees more good than bad with the controversial mechanic. He gets the conversation started by sharing what he likes about the mechanic, saying that “it’s one of the better additions to the game” since it creates a dilemma for players. So after we’ve had a bit more time for glider redeploy, how do you feel about then? I think they are one of the better additions to the game. When people want to disengage they trade mobility for vulnerability and it’s better than having the person waste mats on turtling. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 7, 2018 This has been one of the major sticking points for many players since the ease of disengaging from fights is sometimes seen as a negative since it could eventually lead to a waste of materials if one person can simply glide away. More users sounded off in the replies to the original Tweet about such a scenario where a player is able to escape with very little HP, but Myth was very blunt is pointing out that not being able to shoot an enemy gliding away is a “flaw as a player.” If I don’t see someone glide away that is my flaw as a player, I failed to do basic tracking techniques while building. About 99% of the time you can get shots on people that use redeploy. https://t.co/yaewxKptAr — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 7, 2018 Myth even managed to sneak in the popular “This ain’t it, chief” meme while responding to one concerned user. You got someone to 1hp and weren’t able to hit a single AR/SMG shot? Idk fam chief just called though This ain’t it. https://t.co/n6tyIGuJiu — Myth (@TSM_Myth) November 7, 2018 Multiple pros also responded to the initial tweet and most seemed to agree that it was a solid addition to the game. 100 Thieves pro ‘Kenith’ Regardless of what anyone thinks, definitely encourages engaging more, and also make pubs a billion times funner. People that say you’re no longer punished for getting third party knocked out need to relisten to themselves. Why should you get punished from a dude that far out 1/2 — 100T Kenith (@kenith) November 7, 2018 100 Thieves pro Archie ‘Parallax’ Shrader Best addition by far. There are positives and negatives to anything added, but the positives outweigh the negatives with this addition. Less server lag (less mats used on rotation). More build fights. Easy aim practice. No RNG for rotations either (launchpad droprate). — 100T Parallax (@100T_Parallax) November 7, 2018 Cloud9 pro Nicholas ‘Zoof’ Zufan I think it encourages players to constantly keep the pressure on someone to try and end a fight quickly. — C9 Zoof (@zoof) November 7, 2018 At the end of the day, Myth looks to have chosen to just adapt to the mechanic that looks to be here to stay rather than trying to speak out and get it removed. Given that Epic Games just doubled down on the mechanic in a Reddit post on October 31, Myth’s approach seems like the best route to go on this one.

TSM Myth refocuses content creation efforts, devises ‘Operation: #StealTheViews’ Epic GamesIf you’re a regular viewer of TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani on Twitch, you may have noticed that he has switched his Fortnite Battle Royale resolution back to ‘native’ after spending some time on ‘stretched’. Now the professional player has revealed that the reason for this change is simple – he’s beginning to focus on content creation again until there is more direction in the competitive Fortnite scene. “Fortnite comp, like, genuinely we don’t know where the fuck it’s going in the next three months, right?” Myth explained. “So I’d rather just go back to natural res, steal the views while I can, and then when comp comes out, dude, go back to stret- I mean stay on native and just dominate the scene.” He then doubled down on his statements about not going back to a stretched resolution, insisting that it was a slip of the tongue: “Sorry, that was a typo with my mouth. Never going back to stretch boys.” Later in the stream, Myth presented his viewers with a document titled ‘Operation: #StealTheViews’ and explained: “It’s in full effect baby, this is it! You ready baby? We taking them back!” The document consisted of a list of steps to complete this #StealTheViews operation. Myth has been focusing his efforts predominantly on competitive Fortnite in recent weeks but his growth on Twitch seemed to be taking a hit as a result, with OpTic Gaming’s Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop recently suggesting that he has “refocused how he’s branding himself.” We’re not sure how serious Myth is about his campaign, but we can’t argue with the people that say the native resolution looks better! Long-time fans of the 19-year-old will be glad to hear that he is going to be concentrating on his streaming again. Whether or not that focus will change once again when a Fortnite esports circuit is laid out is currently uncertain.

  • TSM Myth proves he’s still a Fortnite building master with insane clutch – Dexerto

TSM Myth proves he’s still a Fortnite building master with insane clutch Fortnite professional player Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has shown off his incredible building skills during a game of the popular battle royale game. Myth was streaming with Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop and FaZe Clan member Cizzorz when his squad came across a group of enemies who had built high into the air. With CouRage already eliminated, it was down to Myth and Cizzorz to take out their enemies, who already had the vertical advantage against the duo. While Cizzorz pondered about what he would do, Myth immediately began to build up towards his enemies, climbing up the structure with incredible speed and technique, as he built and edited his way towards the opponents. As Myth got towards the top of the structure, he spotted an enemy below him, and deftly built his way behind his enemy, knocking him to the ground without taking any damage. Just as he took out his first adversary, the storm begin to approach, forcing the Team SoloMid streamer to retreat. Myth got into a fight with one of this two remaining enemies, dealing some damage before using a bounce pad to get ahead of the storm. Kabbani then waited behind a rock, eliminating his second opponent, before using the Grappler item to escape the third enemy. The pro Fortnite players is well known for his incredible skill, and fans of Myth will be able to see him back in action when he competes in this weeks Fall Skirmish event.

  • TSM Myth and Co. moving into new teamhouse for Fortnite World Cup – Dexerto

TSM Myth and Co. moving into new teamhouse for Fortnite World Cup Team SoloMid are taking another significant step towards becoming one of the top competitive teams in Fortnite, as they plan to relocate the entire roster for better practice. The popular organization have made massive improvements on the competitive scene after a slow start to life in tournaments. To continue their rise, TSM president Leena Xu confirmed on Twitter that their professional team would be moving into a house together on the East Coast. With the majority of the top Fortnite professionals currently residing in the region, TSM players will be able to get the best possible practice ahead of the $30m Fortnite World Cup tournament. As a result, TSM completely revamped their pro team, signing one of the top duos in the game in Zexrow and Vinny1x, as well as upcoming players such as Cloud and Kaysid to join Myth on the competitive roster. The tweet suggests that all five members will be moving into the house which is not yet confirmed to be a permanent move for the likes of Myth who currently lives in California. With TSM recently dropping Cowboy due to out of game controversy, there appears to be a gap that needs filling to create three duo teams in the pro house meaning another signing could be imminent. Nevertheless, bringing all of their pro players together should provide a boost to their chances of splitting the largest prize pool in the history of esports. The Fortnite World Cup qualifiers kicks off on April 13 and will run until June 13 with the grand finals taking place in New York.

  • TSM Myth mocks Fortnite’s new ‘Moisty Palms’ in hilarious cast – Dexerto

TSM Myth mocks Fortnite’s new ‘Moisty Palms’ in hilarious cast Twitch: Myth / Epic Gamesv10.30 update saw the return of two legendary points-of-interest in Greasy Grove and Moisty Mire, which has merged with Paradise Palms to create Moisty Palms, a city overgrown by swamp trees. The new location has appeared inside a Rift Zone, with the strange side effect that once a player crouches in the location they turn into a prop of a random item that can be found around the island, something that the Team SoloMid player clearly isn’t a fan of. After heading to the location during a match, the 20-year-old crouched down, turning into a trash can, and then decided to channel Dr Disrespect by casting over his own gameplay with hilarious results, and some sly digs at Epic Games. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the FCS championship finals,” the Twitch streamer boomed in his casting voice. “Here we have Myth, late game, and he is a literal trash can! The irony is ridiculous, here he is hiding in a trash can with players zooming all around him, this is what Fortnite is all about!” “As you can see, Cloakzy is literally a port-a-potty, and they’re standing right next to each other without knowing. Neither of them will move or shoot, because if they do, it will take them out of their hidden position!” Throughout Season 10, Epic Games have reintroduced classic locations, but put strange twists on them as part of their returns, like removing the ability to build from Tilted Town, or having tacos rain from the sky that make you dance at Greasy Grove. The fact that players can now hide in Moisty Palms by disguising themselves as objects clearly isn’t something that Myth is a fan of, showing how he feels late games will play with the change, especially in competitive matches. Players also cannot crouch in Moisty Palms anymore, meaning moving around the location has become more difficult, especially if you’re trying to sneak around or position yourself in smaller spots. Whether Epic Games will address these problems remains to be seen.

  • TSM Myth leads army of Skull Troopers in hilarious game of Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Myth leads army of Skull Troopers in hilarious game of Fortnite TSM’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has long adopted Fortnite’s Skull Trooper skin as his signature look in-game and used the popularity of the skin to orchestrate a hilarious scene. After having only been available in late 2017 for Fortnite’s initial Halloween event, the highly-coveted skin finally hit the Item Shop Wednesday morning and fans bought the skin in droves. It seems that many of Myth’s viewers were among those who purchased the skin as he managed to get everyone loaded into a game together with some hilarious results. After playing a few games of the new LTM, Disco Domination, Myth quickly hatched a plan to try and create some havoc on an unsuspecting server. He rallies his troops, which he has dubbed the ‘Skully Gang,’ with a passionate speech explaining the mission to his fans. “I believe in a time, in a world, where Skull Troopers alike can come together. Can unite. Can push forward towards something greater. Towards something bigger. Towards one society of Skullys,” says Myth in full-on preacher mode. After reminding viewers to use his code, as part of the Support-A-Creator program, to buy the skin, Myth instructs everyone to go to Wailing Woods and farm every tree before rotating to Dusty Divot to cover the entire area. What follows is nothing short of spectacular as Myth managed to coordinate enough people into a 50v50 game to completely eradicate Wailing Woods of trees in no time. Even though Myth was taken out by a viewer before the final task was completed, he saw the fruit of his labor through the eyes of a teammate who managed to survive the bloodbath. “We achieved what some thought was gonna be impossible. We brought it together and did what they thought we could,” Myth said with a sense of pride as the game neared its completion. This was just another example of the creativity of the Fortnite community and goes to show how hyped everyone is for the long-awaited re-release of the Skull Trooper skin.

  • TSM Myth joins Fortnite’s “controller army” with hilariously epic speech – Dexerto

TSM Myth joins Fortnite’s “controller army” with hilariously epic speech In a hilarious dramatic speech made on stream on December 24, 2019, pro Fortnite player and streamer Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani explained that he’s left the “Keyboard Warriors” to join the “Controller Army.” For years the debate between controller and mouse and keyboard players has raged on, with mouse and keyboard seemingly being the optimal way to play but many believing that aim assist makes it worth playing on a controller. While some top players have dabbled back and forth, it appears that Myth is trying to make the switch to controller from mouse and keyboard, a move that would have been unprecedented just a few months ago and on any other game. Myth has been one of the most popular Fortnite players since it was first released in September 2017, revolutionizing building in the game and showing the start of where mechanical ability can take you in Epic Games’ battle royale hit. However, he’s recently taken it upon himself to try out controller play, and in this dramatic speech made on stream, he explains the move. “I’m going to become goated on the sticks,” he started. “I have one mission in mind, one goal, one objective. Ever since the Controller Army attacked the nation of the Keyboard Warriors, there’s been a furious fight. They took all our men. All the ammo, all the resources we had… gone in a fury storm, in a fire. It’s my mission, as TMS Mythological, to go undercover and dominate the Controller Army.” This was perhaps a little dramatic as a response to the simple question “will you be sticking to the controller,” but at least it was an answer nonetheless. Throughout his short time using a controller, Myth has displayed some serious talent that wouldn’t look out of place against the top keyboard and mouse players, which can be very difficult to do. It’s possible that one day he may leave the Controller Army and rejoin his brethren in the nation of Keyboard Warriors, but he seems to be enjoying using a controller and has adapted to the change well, so it may just become a permanent transition.

  • TSM Myth hints at unionization for pro Fortnite players – Dexerto

TSM Myth hints at unionization for pro Fortnite players TSM Myth / Ross Miller via The VergeEpic Games famously committed millions of dollars for pro competitions around Fortnite but deteriorated conditions around the esport has gotten to the point where one player feels it might be time to coordinate a union for the talent. Fortnite has thus far enjoyed a prolific audience for its first year of tournaments but the pros associated with the esport have repeatedly shared concerns with how the competitions have been handled, leading to a purposed guild to protect players’ interests. Team SoloMid’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has expressed his concerns with the progression of the Fortnite esports scene and is considering a unionizing effort to protect the talent from what he sees as a growing problem. I’m really really really considering starting some sort of Fortnite pro union. I don’t think I wanna sit idle while letting shit progressively get worse when it comes to player treatment and competitive integrity. I love this pro community.️ pic.twitter.com/Bf32rgXwRi — Myth (@TSM_Myth) December 31, 2018 Myth has been one of the more vocal pros against the questionable choices employed by Fortnite tournaments and it seems that all of those transgressions might amount to something in the future. “I’m really really really considering starting some sort of Fortnite pro union,” Myth said. “I don’t think I wanna sit idle while letting shit progressively get worse when it comes to player treatment and competitive integrity.” The “shit” that the 19-year-old American is talking about could encompass issues regarding scheduling, fair conditions for competitors, and untimely updates to the game before major competitions. I started the first scrim discord with the idea in mind that us players need to be for the players and our egos, salaries, or prize pools should never get in the way of seeing that we are all in the same wagon. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) December 31, 2018 Myth’s criticism was met with overwhelming support from the community who has seen pros like himself struggle to stay competitive due to unseemly occurrences surrounding events. With Fortnite going all out to harbor in the new year, Myth might think it’s high time for players to take control of their own future around this game.

  • TSM Myth explains why becoming a top Fortnite controller player is hard – Dexerto

TSM Myth explains why becoming a top Fortnite controller player is hard TSM Myth: YouTubeThe debate of controllers versus mouse and keyboard rages on in Fortnite and TSM member Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani stepped up to defend the controller pros. In 2020, we’re starting to see more and more controller players dominate in Fortnite and it’s causing quite the stir in the community. It’s not necessarily the fact that controller players are better and mouse and keyboard ones, it’s the fact that they have aim assist is what causes so many problems. Particularly, those who have one plugged into their PC will get a much stronger aim assist than those just playing on a PS4 or Xbox One. Of course, there are still many drawbacks to using a controller such as it being more difficult to build and edit due to the lack of buttons, for example. In fact, Myth thinks becoming a top-tier controller pro in Fortnite is harder than being one that uses mouse and keyboard. Read More: How to open loot vaults in Fortnite Season 2 – “Getting good on controller takes much more time than getting good on KbM,” he tweeted in response to Aydan calling out pros who complain about the aim assist. Getting good on controller takes much more time than getting good on KbM — Myth (@Myth_) February 27, 2020 When a fan was dumbfounded by this statement from the TSM content creator, he went into more detail, explaining that it takes a while to master the controller, which is why we’re just now seeing them take home victories in tournaments. “Becoming a top TIER Fortnite player on controller is way more difficult if you haven’t played on controller vs learning keyboard and mouse and becoming a top tier player,” he said. “We are just starting to see a true rise of controller comp players. Not just one-offs. That sh*t took time.” Becoming a top TIER fortnite player on controller is way more difficult if u havent played on controller vs’s learning keyboard and mouse and becoming a top tier player. We are just starting to see a true rise of controller comp players. Not just one offs. That shit took time. — Myth (@Myth_) February 27, 2020 He does have a point as for a long time, most of the top players were exclusive on mouse and keyboard, but in early February we saw a controller player win the Fortnite Australian Open and claim $100,000. To his credit, Myth does know a thing or two about playing on controller since he actually spent a whole month seeing what it was like. Taking your months of practice and throwing it out the window is difficult to do for mouse and keyboard players, which is probably why we haven’t many of them switch, despite so many pros labeling the aim assist as overpowered. However, those who came up on controllers are just now starting to hit their stride, according to Myth, so perhaps we could see more of them dominate in upcoming tournaments.

  • TSM Myth explains major problem with Epic Games’ Fortnite ‘philosophy’ – Dexerto

TSM Myth explains major problem with Epic Games’ Fortnite ‘philosophy’ Epic Games/TSM MythTwitch star Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has explained the issue with Epic Games’ ‘Fortnite Philosophy’, after the developers received significant backlash for their approach to the acclaimed battle royale. Since the start of Season X, Epic Games’ battle royale has been widely criticized for the implementation of BRUTE Mechs. Many members of the community have argued that they are overpowered and do not have sufficient counters. On August 15, Epic Games provided an update regarding their ‘Fortnite Philosophy’. The update essentially explained that they are trying to create a gaming environment in which anyone can achieve a victory royale. While BRUTEs are unbalanced, they provide an opportunity for less skilled players to be successful. Apart from Boogie Bombs, BRUTEs have zero counters in Fortnite. On August 16, while live on Twitch, TSM Fortnite streamer Myth criticized the developers for their update. As part of their update, Epic provided a number of graphs reflecting the fairly small percentage of eliminations BRUTEs are responsible for. What Myth seems to be saying is that, while BRUTEs may only be responsible for a small portion of eliminations per game, the manner of these eliminations is what makes the Mechs so unfair. Plenty of clips have emerged showing players eliminated in a flurry of missiles, in encounters where they had no chance of survival. In a second clip, Myth expands on his criticism, mocking the developers. “Only 6% are getting eliminated through Mechs, statistically speaking we’re gonna keep them in the game.” Many have argued that Epic are punishing players who have taken the time to improve their Fortnite skills, and are rewarding lesser skilled players, simply to encourage them to continue playing. While community criticism rumbles on about the BRUTEs, Epic seem to be standing firm on their ‘philosophies’, regardless of players’ feelings. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the BRUTEs are going anywhere.

  • TSM Myth explains brilliant idea to improve how Fortnite games end – Dexerto

TSM Myth explains brilliant idea to improve how Fortnite games end Team Solo Mid’s Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has come up a genius way to end competitive Fortnite games going forward in a way that may surprise a few people and it doesn’t change the way the game is played. Fortnite pros are always looking for some way to improve the competitive aspect of the game – whether it be the removal of a weapon or item or even the addition of something to the game. So, while he was watching the Fortnite Summer Smash event that was being held in Australia, Myth came up with a genius idea to help the ending of competitive games that can get bogged down. The Team Solo Mid pro player stated on stream: “I don’t see why the zone has to close. No, no, or it could just keep moving. Let’s say the eighth or ninth zone, it just constantly moves. “Why does it have to close? Maybe that would drag the game on too long though. But I can’t see it dragging it too long because whoever is high (up with building) has to come down sooner or later – they’d have to fight.” Myth’s idea follows his recent Twitter call out of Epic Games for their changes to the competitive scene. The Fortnite developer and publisher announced that the newest season of the game will kick off around the same dates of the next major competitive event – IEM Katowice. “I’m kinda at a lost for words. What’s happening internally? Are things dysfunctional? Did blog number one have a huge error? Lots of questions that need to be answered.” Myth posted to Twitter about the news.

  • TSM Myth does his best Post Malone impression with rap about Fortnite Season 7 – Dexerto

TSM Myth does his best Post Malone impression with rap about Fortnite Season 7 Post Malone / InstagramTSM player and popular streamer Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani used the medium of rap to express his true feelings about Fortnite’s Season 7, re-interpreting a Post Malone hit. Season 7 has brought with it the most drastic map changes and new additions of any Fortnite season so far, with a new snow biome, Mounted Turrets (although technically added in S6) and even a plane – with its own turret attached. All of this, while exciting and refreshing, has been a cause for concern particularly for long time players and the competitive minded, as everything becomes a bit more random and ‘overpowered’. A vocal player in the community, and with a big following, Myth, real name Ali Kabbani, is not afraid to speak his mind – both positive and negative – on Epic Games’ changes to Fortnite. Typically he will speak on these issues on stream, or in a carefully crafted tweet – but now he is switching it up and improvising along to music. Singing Post Malone’s famous ‘Fall Apart’, Myth comes up with his own lyrics on the fly, including “what’s that in the sky, it’s a bi-plane” and “Season 7 caught me off guard”. Thankfully for fans, changes to planes were made in the latest update, patch version 7.01, which will now mean pilots take damage when crash landing, among other adjustments. However, if the Fortnite player base is vocal enough, some of these items might not last long. As when the community has rallied behind a particular item or vehicle being too much, it often ends up vaulted or nerfed severely. The latest contentious addition is the Infinity Blade, which grants the player who wields it 200 health and shield – and regens 50 back on every kill.

  • TSM Myth clarifies why he wants a Fortnite Players Union – Dexerto

TSM Myth clarifies why he wants a Fortnite Players Union Team SoloMid’s professional Fortnite player Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani has clarified comments he made about the possibility of a union for professional players of the game during a Twitch stream. Myth tweeted on Monday, December 31 that he was considering starting a union for pro players, stating that he had concerns about the state of Fortnite esports and wanted to have his say on the things that were happening. Many fans were confused by Myth’s statement, and wondered if this union would actively petition Fortnite to make changes to the game, and try to block new additions to the popular battle royale title. With that in mind, the TSM star has clarified his position on what he wants to do, stating on his January 2 stream that he feels people got the wrong idea about what he is aiming for. “I think people got the wrong impression as to what it’s for,” Myth told his stream. “I don’t want to influence Epic’s decisions when it comes to how they want to run or develop their game. “At the end of the day, I know we don’t have any control over that. I think their lack of communication is daunting, and that’s really all I want to address with this union.” “What is the reasoning behind them dropping a patch days before patch day, or right before tournaments? The fact that there is no communication from Epic on these things is fucking scary,” concluded the American. Myth’s final comments were referencing the new Boom Box item, which was added to the game just hours before the $100,000 WSOE Fortnite event on December 30, a move which angered many pro players. Many members of the community have voiced their support for Myth’s unionization idea, and with the prize money in Fortnite continuing to rise, it will be fascinating to watch if the players are able to voice their opinions on the future of the game.

  • TSM Myth “at a loss for words” over state of Fortnite comp – Dexerto

TSM Myth “at a loss for words” over state of Fortnite comp Epic Games is facing yet another backlash from its professional community after a blog post revealed more info about the upcoming competitive season. TSM Myth became frustrated after seeing how Epic selected participants for the next major Fortnite event and possibly what patch IEM Katowice will be played on. Myth retweeted Fortnite coach Convertible, who originally called out the selection process. “I’m kinda at a lost for words. What’s happening internally? Are things dysfunctional? Did blog number one have a huge error,” said Myth. I really hope whoever is writing the competitive blogs includes a reason behind this shit in blog number 2. I’m kinda at a lost for words. What’s happening internally? Are things disfunctional? Did blog number one have a huge error? Lots of questions that need to be answered. https://t.co/vKLXZHqGYH — Myth (@TSM_Myth) January 26, 2019 The reason for his reaction was Season 8 of Fortnite will go live the day of the IEM Katowice tournament, meaning significant gameplay changes and new items could be added with no time for pros to adjust – something Epic said they would avoid in the future. In fairness to Epic, they could play IEM Katowice on an older version of the game, similar to how the Overwatch League runs on different patches than the publicly available version of Overwatch. They have not given any indication that will be the case, however. Another source of frustration was Epic claiming to let players know if an in-game Pop-up Cup was going to be used for qualification. Matt Layman, Esports lead at Epic, said “we will be very clear when something will be used as a qualifier.” Unfortunately, that was not the case. The top 25 players from the Explorer Cup qualified for the Secret Skirmish, even though no prior indication was given that the Explorer Cup would be used for placements. In fairness to Epic once again, they did call it a secret – but that will hardly reassure players who feel esports communication is lacking.

  • TSM Myth and Dakotaz Want Changes Made to Shotguns in Fortnite After Recent Nerf – Dexerto

TSM Myth and Dakotaz Want Changes Made to Shotguns in Fortnite After Recent Nerf After shotguns were recently hit with a significant nerf in Fortnite Battle Royale, two of the top streamers and competitive players, TSM Myth and Dakotaz, want changes made. Epic Games implemented a shotgun nerf in an attempt to rebalance the game away from the manic shotgun battles that typically dominated close quarters engagements. Some were in favor of seeing a slight rebalance, but as is often the case with attempting to fine tune weapon balance, it often ends up tipping the scale too much in the other direction. TSM player Ali “Myth” Kabbani called for an increased fire rate of the tactical shotguns, in order to make it a “contender” in the current meta. I demand a fire rate increase on the tactical shotgun (not really but plz) Would be such a contender with the other weapons in this meta if it had an increased fire rate. — Myth (@TSM_Myth) July 31, 2018 Fellow streamer, Dakotaz, went into more detail on his channel, explaining that shotguns have become too weak, saying “everything is backwards.” “Don’t nerf shotguns completely, because now they’re just garbage. Yes, they work sometimes, yes they still one shot people, and that will be Epic’s argument. But when? Like once in a blue moon. If I land a headshot on somebody up close, with a shotgun, don’t you think I deserve to do a lot of damage and kill that guy. So everything is just backwards in Fortnite. That’s the best way to explain it, everything is backwards.” Dakotaz goes on to express his disappointment that other personalities are “afraid to speak their minds”, and instead just say Epic Games are the best, without complaint. Given the frequency at which Epic update the game, and how observant they are on all social channels, it is likely that at some point some more shotgun rebalancing will be made.

  • TSM Myth addresses controversy over potential Fortnite World Cup duo – Dexerto

TSM Myth addresses controversy over potential Fortnite World Cup duo Twitch / TSM_MythFortnite professional and Team SoloMid player Ali ‘Myth‘ Kabbani has posted an explanation on social media, clarifying the confusion around his rumored duo teammate ‘Aipha’, and the TSM organization. In late February, up and coming Fortnite player ‘Aipha’ claimed that his duo for the World Cup would “most likely” be Myth, which, unsurprisingly, led to speculation that he was also joining the TSM org. However, TSM’s President of Esports, Aileena Xu, shut this speculation down firmly, stating “don’t you guys think that Zoof/Aipha would have been recruited already if they were as beast [good] as people say?” Fortnite: How to get higher FPS and reduce lag on PC, PS4 and Xbox One Aipha also responded to Xu’s comment, in a now deleted Reddit post, writing: I’ll let everyone know my side, people may think that “I am just a fanboy” which in reality, I really like the team, but I would always accept other offers. The only thing I ever bought was a couple shirts and one hoodie from the TSM shop. Everything else was sent to me by them, which is why I thought they were interested in me and why I kept with the ‘TSM is the dream’ shit. I know what my potential is in Fortnite so whatever, if people don’t see it in me thats fine. Regret is something people will have to live with. I will say, deep down, it does feel like I have been played, but that’s just what I’m thinking. Getting ahead of the growing controversy, Myth himself spoke out, confirming that he had never agreed to playing with Aipha at the World Cup, and that it was all essentially a misunderstanding. My thoughts on the recent @DaRealAipha situation. pic.twitter.com/0rCY9PvGy8 — Myth (@TSM_Myth) March 20, 2019 Myth states there was “never a time when it was expressed OR hinted that TSM or I were more interested in signing or permanently playing with Aipha.” He went on to say that “Aipha shouldn’t be trying to justify his behavior of being a superfan”, and that “this sort of misunderstanding is a trend with Aipha”. Xu also posted on Twitter, shortly after Myth’s longer post. She explains that a “nice gesture” (presumably sending merch to Aipha) was “blown out of proportion”. I generally have a positive relationship with people in the Pro FN scene and am always happy give out merch, offer advice, or just be friends and it really sucks to see a nice gesture get blown out of proportion. (Evident by all the community members who have commented) — Leena Xu (@leena_xu) March 20, 2019 Whatever the situation is, Aipha is still regarded as one to watch for the future of competitive Fortnite, but his chances of playing alongside Myth under the TSM banner, now seem very slim.

  • TSM HighDistortion calls 100 Thieves’ Kenith a “scumbag” for bad sportsmanship during Fall Skirmish Fortnite tournament – Dexerto

TSM HighDistortion calls 100 Thieves’ Kenith a “scumbag” for bad sportsmanship during Fall Skirmish Fortnite tournament Team SoloMid player Jimmy ‘HighDistortion’ Moreno accused 100 Thieves player ‘Kenith’ of “the most scumbag shit” he’d ever seen, during the Fortnite Fall Skirmish. HighDistortion was playing alongside fellow streamer ‘Leopard’ in the first week of the $10 million Fall Skirmish series, when they ran into the 100 Thieves duo of Kenith and Parallax. Only Kenith remained alive, with Parallax already eliminated, but as HighDistortion and Leopard pushed Kenith in what was certain to be a kill, the 100 Thieves player left the game. This essentially took an elimination away from HighDistortion and Leopard’s scoring, which were part of the scoring system for the first weekend’s event. More: Full recap of Fortnite ‘Fall Skirmish’ Week One tournament (NA and EU) – results, final placements, and Clubs standings – HighDistortion immediately realized what had happened, exclaiming: “This guy quit, he quit to not give us the kill. That is the most scumbag shit I’ve ever seen in my life. He quit so he didn’t give us the kill.” Kenith later responded on Twitter, admitting that he was in the wrong, and apologizing for quitting and taking a guaranteed elimination away from HighDistortion and Leopard. I acted on my emotions like an absolute moron. I am sorry @HighDistortion . I will be doing everything I can to get you the point you deserved. This is the second time I’ve done something so stupid. I’m sorry to also have disappointed people cheering us on. (2/2) — 100T Kenith (@kenith) September 21, 2018 He also explained that there was no recording of his perspective, because as soon as he realized what he had done, he panicked and turned off his stream, and told his partner to do the same. Thankfully for HighDistortion and Leopard, they were given the extra point for the elimination, after speaking with Fortnite’s esports coordinator, ‘Sundown’. 500https://twitter.com/kenith/status/1043292172626403328

  • TSM’s High Distortion offers warning for free agent Fortnite pros ahead of World Cup – Dexerto

TSM’s High Distortion offers warning for free agent Fortnite pros ahead of World Cup HighDistortion / Epic GamesTeam SoloMid’s Fortnite World Cup, with organizations on the lookout for top talents. The year 2019 has been touted as ‘the year of Fortnite esports’ by many esports insiders in the past, and now fans are starting to see what they meant – with a $30 million prize pool up for grabs in just the World Cup alone. While that might sound like a huge opportunity for players involved in the battle royale game’s competitive scene, HighDistortion has stressed the need for competitors to choose their organizations wisely to prevent any disappointment further down the line. Reaching out to fellow players in a Twitter post on April 2, the pro warned young players about the ways in which they could potentially be taken advantage of as tournament prize pools increase in size. “Don’t sign into an organization, so you can say that you’re a pro, that takes 25%-50% of your prize pool winnings and doesn’t give you a salary,” he tweeted. • TSM Hamlinz and Reverse2K win the Dr DisRespect and BoomTV $20K Code Red Fortnite tournament – recap and final placements – Dexerto

TSM Hamlinz and Reverse2K win the Dr DisRespect and BoomTV $20K Code Red Fortnite tournament – recap and final placements Team SoloMid Fortnite pro Hamlinz and competitive player Reverse2K have won the first-ever $20,000 Code Red Fortnite tournament, hosted by popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect and BoomTV. The pair edged out Luminosity Gaming’s SypherPK and Fortnite pro Symfuhny in the grand finals to secure the whopping $12,000 first place prize. Before reading on, it’s important that you go over the scoring format, in order to make the remainder of this recap easier to understand. Having already beaten Sypher and Symfuhny in the Winners Bracket final, Hamlinz and Reverse2K came into the grand final with an advantage – the only needed to win one match to claim victory. Their opponents, on the other hand, had two win two in a row since they had reached the final via the Losers Bracket. Read More: Dr DisRespect hilariously celebrates getting his Code Red Fortnite tournament on the front page of Twitch – Map one of game one proved to be a one-sided affair, as Hamlinz and Reverse2K jumped out to an early lead and coasted their way to a 13-2 elimination advantage. The second map very much followed the same script, as the eventual champions, despite already having a huge lead, relentlessly pushed for eliminations and won 22-10, winning the grand final with an aggregate scoreline of 35-12. Here are the final placements for the November 8 running of the Code Red Fortnite tournament, along with the prize breakdown. The aggregate scores of each individual match can be found on the tournament web-page HERE. About the Code Red Fortnite tournament The Code Red Fortnite tournament is the collaborative brainchild of popular Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect, the livestream gaming platform known as BoomTV, and EsportsArena. • TSM finally sign ZexRow’s competitive Fortnite duos partner – Dexerto

TSM finally sign ZexRow’s competitive Fortnite duos partner Team SoloMidTeam SoloMid (TSM) have announced the signing of highly coveted Fortnite player Vinny1x to join their Fortnite competitive ranks. TSM made a massive statement of intent back in December when they added Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro. Ever since, rumors have circulated that his long-term duo partner would be joining the team as well. With Vinny ‘Vinny1x’ Gerald Gilgan continuing to perform consistently well at recent tournaments in both duos and solos, he now joins the official TSM Fortnite team. The 17-year-old ranks amongst the top earning players in the game thanks to his consistent high placings at recent tournaments. During his first ever event, he took home a whopping $107,500 after finishing third in the Fortnite Fall Skirmish Grand Finals at TwitchCon alongside Zexrow. The pair won the final game in dramatic fashion and narrowly lost second place to FaZe Nate Hill and FaZe Funkbomb. Vinny also placed in the money during the Fortnite Winter Royale in December and earned $10,000 for his finishing in 12th during the recent Secret Skirmish solo tournament. “It has always been a dream of mine to join one of the best organizations in the gaming industry,” Gilgan said. “I’ve always seen TSM do great things in every game such as League, PUBG etc. I can’t wait to represent TSM in the upcoming tourneys and give it my all.” The signing shows that TSM still means business in competitive Fortnite as they now possess one of the most consistent duos in the game. They will have the first chance to compete together under the TSM banner at ESL Katowice this weekend looking for a slice of the $500,000 prize pool. TSM’s full competitive roster now consists of Myth, Cowboy, Kaysid and Cloud. With many of their duos forming recently, it won’t be long before they started placing high at events.

  • TSM Dakotaz shares his brutally honest opinion on the current state of Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Dakotaz shares his brutally honest opinion on the current state of Fortnite Team SoloMid streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman has given a scathing review of the current state of Fortnite Battle Royale. The Fortnite streamer took to Twitter to vent his frustrations with the game, which he has plenty of. Dakotaz dislikes the current ‘third party’ meta, which sees players swoop in during a battle when both teams are weak to clean up and take all the kills, meaning that there is no longer a proper conclusion to build battles like there was in the past. The TSM player is also annoyed by the ‘Glider Redeploy’ system recently added to the game, and the constant use of traps, stating that the “only thing” Fortnite is to him these days is “traps, gliders and skins 24/7.” Hoffman feels that the only way to win in the current Fortnite meta is to hide in the hope that you can win the game by outlasting opponents, a move that he describes as “smart,” but doesn’t encourage exciting gameplay. Dakotaz finished off by addressing Epic Games directly, stating: “Sorry Fortnite, but your game is really not that good anymore.” The only thing @FortniteGame is now adays is basically 3rd party, traps, gliders & skins 24/7 Unless you’re hiding in duo/squads 24/7 – which is smart tbh. Sorry Fortnite but you game is really not that good anymore. and our shotguns still hit for 7 btw¯_(ツ)_/¯ — dakotaz (@dakotaz) November 13, 2018 While some fans were surprised that Hoffman made the comments due to his positive outlook while streaming, many of those who replied to the streamer agreed with his points, confirming that they were also unhappy with the current state of the battle royale title. Epic Games takes community feedback extremely seriously, and often implements ideas and suggestions from fans of the game in an attempt to freshen up and improve Fortnite. While Epic Games haven’t commented on Hoffman’s feelings on Fortnite, it’s possible that they may look into making some changes to the current meta if the majority of the fan-base is unhappy.

  • TSM Dakotaz outlines what he’d like to see change in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Dakotaz outlines what he’d like to see change in Fortnite Even though Epic Games just switched up the Fortnite meta by removing the Glider Re-Deploy feature, Team SoloMid streamer Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman wants to see even more changes soon. Just a day after saying that he felt Fortnite “is really not that good anymore,” Dakotaz has shared a long list of things that he wants to be worked on next. He looks to be pleased with the removal of the Glider Re-Deploy but clearly has a lot more in mind for the future of the popular game. The majority of the items on Dakotaz’ list focus on bringing back items or features that were previously in the game but have been changed or tweaked over time. :white_check_mark: redeploy removed ⏹️ trap damage dropped to 125 / 100 ⏹️ 50/25 hp/shield kill added into main game ⏹️ bring back bouncers / make launch pads more common ⏹️ make shotguns great again: increase headshot/overall damage ⏹️ reduce fall damage a bittell me your dream changes below — dakotaz (@dakotaz) November 14, 2018 One of the biggest changes he requests is one that is currently being tested in the Scavenger Pop-Up Cup limited tournament. In that mode, players receive 50 health (or shields if they’re at full health) when eliminating opponents. It’s a feature that has been widely praised since being discovered in the V6.30 patch notes. Dakotaz is clearly among that group with his request that it be added to main game. Dakotaz also mentions trap damage, which is something that isn’t discussed as much anymore but was once a hot topic of discussion. He’d like to see the damage brought back down to its levels before a hotfix in June raised it to the current level of 150. No wishlist would be complete, of course, without the mention of the current state of shotguns, as many feel they’re far too inconsistent to be viable. Dakotaz suggests raising either the overall damage or at least raising headshot damage. Dakotaz also followed up his list with one more point about the Glider Re-Deploy possibly being brought back as a legendary item with a specific number of charges. also btw: redeploy as legendary item 3x charges – someone had that idea. was pretty neat tbh. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ — dakotaz (@dakotaz) November 14, 2018 With many heavily valuing his opinion, it’s no surprise to see his Tweet getting hundreds of replies shortly after being posted. Epic Games is known to look closely at the feedback from the community and they’re surely keeping an eye on what Dakotaz had to say for future updates.

  • TSM’s Daequan has a solution for testing Fortnite changes without splitting the community – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan has a solution for testing Fortnite changes without splitting the community Team SoloMid’s professional Fortnite player Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco believes Epic Games need to introduce public testing servers or risk further backlash from Fortnite fans. Loco was referring to the unhappiness from a large number of Fortnite fans who disliked the recent addition of the ‘Glider Redeploy’ system that allowed players to pull their glider out again while jumping off buildings or falling off structures, essentially removing the idea of fall damage. With this being added as a test, Epic Games then decided to remove Glider Redeploy, annoying players who had become accustomed to being able to use their glider whenever they wished. Daequan believes that by creating public testing servers, Epic Games could still try out new things, while getting feedback from players who would like to test new items or gameplay modes without changing the core game. Read More: How to walk over traps in Fortnite without taking damage “I really think Fortnite should get some public test servers,” tweeted Loco. “Just going to keep splitting the community if you keep doing these entirely game-changing tests in public servers every week. Let players who care about the game’s direction test things without stirring the pot.” I really think @FortniteGame should get some public test servers or something. Just gonna keep splitting the community if you keep doing these entirely game changing “”tests”” in public servers every week. Let us who care about the games direction test things without stirring a pot — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) November 14, 2018 While Fortnite tend to test new gameplay mechanics in-game, like the brand new Mounted Turret item which is wreaking havoc throughout the game right now, they have began to use the new Tournament mode as a way to test out different ways to play the game. One of these tournaments is the Scavenger Pop-Up Cup which was introduced in the V6.30 update, where players have a reduced material cap and gain 50 health or shield when they eliminate an opponent as a reward. The Pop-Up Cup is available now in the Tournaments portion of Fortnite, but is a Limited Time Mode, meaning it could be removed from the game at any moment.

  • TSM Daequan has an idea on how to balance shotguns in Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM Daequan has an idea on how to balance shotguns in Fortnite TSM member and pro Fortnite player Daequan Loco has come up with what he believes to be a solution to one of Fortnite fans’ main complaints – shotgun balancing. Daequan recently took to twitter to voice his issues with the power of the new double-barrel shotgun, stating that he feels that whoever finds a double barrel is essentially guaranteed to win close-quarter gun fights against an enemy who doesn’t have one, saying; “When I have it it is literally free kills on [people] without it.” He also believes that running a double-barrel shotgun right now is much more effective than the ‘double shotty’ meta which ruled Fortnite, that saw players carrying two pump shotguns and switching between them while firing shots. Epic Games added a delay when switching to a shotgun in an attempt to nerf this meta. I love the dbl barrel shotty. But its way better than double shotty was at close range. When I have it its literally free kills on ppl without it. Winning close range = whoever finds dbl barrel wins, AKA rng. Remove shotty swap delay for other shotties so they have a chance. — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) September 16, 2018 Daequan’s suggestion to fix shotgun balancing is to remove the delay from every other shotgun, except for the double-barrel shotgun, stating; “shotgun delay should only work on double barrel shotties because obviously two of those would be op. The other shotguns are garbage anyway. Shotgun Smg still will be better than double shotgun. But double shotgun could at least counter the double barrel in point blank range.” Doing this would allow players to once again be able to use the double pump method, and while it wouldn’t be as strong as the double-barrel shotgun, it would give players a better chance in a point blank range fight. The other solution would be to buff pump damage back and reduce the spread on the tac so that the other shotguns aren’t 100% inferior to the double barrel. Yes the double barrel should be better hence it’s legendary but it shouldn’t be the deciding factor for winning and losing. — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) September 16, 2018 Other options that could help close the gap between the double-barrel shotgun and the rest are to lower the spread of the tactical shotgun to make it more accurate, or to increase the damage statistics of the other shotguns to bring them closer to the double-barrel. Epic Games are constantly evaluating weapons, so it’s likely we will see the developer make some changes to the shotguns if they feel there is a major issue.

  • TSM’s Daequan explains why he quit competitive Fortnite – Dexerto

TSM’s Daequan explains why he quit competitive Fortnite TSM / Epic GamesPopular member of Team SoloMid’s content creation team Daequan has given insight into his decision to quit playing Fortnite Battle Royale competitively. When Fortnite began gaining massive prominence back in early 2018, Daequan was one of numerous streamers to jump on the wagon, gaining equally massive growth on his content channels and social media pages as a result. As one of TSM’s original four pros, he established himself as a top competitive player in the game early on, consistently participating in both Epic Games-sanctioned events and KEEMSTAR’s weekly Friday Fortnite tournaments. However, as the competitive scene grew larger and larger by the month, Daequan’s presence grew more and more faint, and soon enough, he was no longer an active member of the comp community. With many still wondering why someone with such potential and ability decided to quit competing in the popular battle royale, he’s now opened up about his decision to step away. Daequan himself initiated a discussion on Twitter on August 22, when he tweeted “Can’t wait for this battle royale and RNG game craze to be over.” This led to some commenting negative things on his tweet, claiming that the real reason he was displeased was because he was no longer a top player in the game. Read More: Daequan mindblown by Fortnite’s BRUTE Mechs – However, the TSM man retorted with an explanation of his own, revealing that he willingly chose to part ways with competing in Fortnite due to that side of the game being “garbage.” “I literally quit competitive when I was rank 20 in the world for money earned, because competitive is garbage,” he said. “But nice try. I prefer enjoying my life rather than complaining from the time I wake up until I go to sleep, like almost every other pro Fortnite player, because it’s trash.” His streaming career is definitely not buried, exemplified by the 81,000+ viewers he pulled in his eventful return stream on August 9. But judging by his comments, it looks extremely unlikely that we’ll ever see the TSM star in a competitive match again.

  • TSM Daequan criticizes Fortnite’s ‘direction’ with recent updates – “They don’t make anybody happy” – Dexerto

TSM Daequan criticizes Fortnite’s ‘direction’ with recent updates – “They don’t make anybody happy” TSM professional Fortnite player Daequan ‘Daequan’ Loco hasn’t been impressed with recent patches and changes made to the battle royale mode, saying they appeal to no one. Discussing the potential of Fortnite ‘dying’, Daequan dismissed this idea due to the already massive player base, made up largely of young fans who simply play to have fun, and will not be put off by small gameplay changes. However, while he recognizes Epic Games’ intention to appeal to the casual players rather than the ‘tryhards’, he thinks that recent updates haven’t appealed to either, questioning if Epic Games have lost direction. “This game is so amazing at its core, but I feel like they don’t know what the fuck direction they want to go,” he says, “I don’t know what they’re thinking, a lot of it just doesn’t make any sense.” He explains that while Fortnite is not “trash”, as some very negative players suggest, but does admit that “the direction [Epic Games] is going, is trash.” Later in his YouTube video, he continues his thought, explaining that while Epic are clearly trying to make the game more accessible for new or casual players, recent patches have not made anyone “happy”. “The problem is, the patches that they release, don’t make anybody happy, it just makes the game AIDS, you know what I’m saying? That’s the problem. […] Like the Glider patch for example, it doesn’t save the ‘not so amazing’ players from the amazing players. It just makes it take longer, it makes everybody wast [materials], it’s not going to make anybody better or worse, it’s just going to be annoying.” In answering the question the title sets, Daequan explains that despite these complains, Fortnite will never ‘die’. “This game’s never going to die, there’s literally like 100 million players active. Do you see how many freakin’ kids you see doing Fortnite dances? Do you think they’re going to quit the game because gliders are in the game? No, they’re not going to quit the game bro.” However, he does think that numbers could “dwindle”, if the developers “keep going in this direction”, but it won’t die, only have less players.

  • TSM Daequan and Ninja criticize Fortnite for being too noob-friendly – Dexerto

TSM Daequan and Ninja criticize Fortnite for being too noob-friendly Professional Fortnite player, Daequan “Daequan” Loco has revealed why he thinks a lot of developers are ruining their games by catering to a certain audience, following the latest update. Daequan signed to TSM’s incredible Fortnite roster alongside Myth, Hamlinz and Camills back in February 2018. Since then the Fortnite pro has seen a lot of success through streaming on Twitch growing his Twitch channel to over 3 million followers in his first year with the organisation. Daequan heavily criticised some of the game developers on March 29 and listed one major problem he has with developers catering their games towards making it easier for noobs Even Fortnite developers, Epic Games have been receiving backlash as of late for some of their latest updates to their game that could potentially lower the skill gap Epic games have been known for keeping their game fresh with significant updates very often, however Daequan feels that updates should not alter the core game mechanics so dramatically in favor of “noobs”, claiming that it would ruin their game. One day game developers will realize that you can’t protect noobs from getting bopped. You add ranked, people will smurf. You separate casual and ranked, ppl will just go bot farm in casuals. You try to change game mechanics to save them, you ruin your game.:skin-tone-4:♂️History doesn’t lie! — Daequan (@TSM_Daequan) March 29, 2019 Daequan received a lot of support from the community after voicing his criticism on game developers, with Twitch stars and professional players such as Ninja and summit1g sharing his concerns. Read More: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds as a reference and that developers should be catering their games towards the more casual players.Ninja then responded to LuzuGames, claiming that PUBG lost most of their players to lag and poor updates as well as the arrival of Fortnite back in July 2017, rather than the developers making the game too hard to enjoy for average players. Ehhhhh I disagree man. Pubg lost their players due to the terrible lag and updates that never fixed the game… then fortnite comes out and smashed it and everyone left BUT the harecore pub g fans who are obviously talented. — Ninja (@Ninja) March 30, 2019 100 Thieves’ Kenith also agreed with Daequan’s assessment of the developers, adding that he felt that, “There are still noobs that enjoy being bopped”, and that they enjoy the sense of progression despite finding the game challenging Counter Logic Gaming‘s Marksman also felt similarly to Kenith, hilariously replying, “You either get bopped or get good enough to be the bopper.” Before stating that such few games focus on being competitive and that developers are lowering the skill-gap in their games. You either get bopped or get good enough to be the bopper. But so few games actually do that. Skill-based matchmaking & lowering skill gap so everyone has a chance is how devs are sellin their games now a days. — CLG Marksman (@Marksman) March 29, 2019 Many are wondering if developers of popular games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends will take on this criticism from Daequan after seeing how much support it has received from the community. –

  • TSM CaMiLLs Discovers Crazy Flying Shopping Cart Glitch in Fortnite Battle Royale – Dexerto

TSM CaMiLLs Discovers Crazy Flying Shopping Cart Glitch in Fortnite Battle Royale Pro Fortnite player for Team SoloMid Juan “CaMiLLs” Camilla discovered an insane glitch with the newly added Shopping Cart in Fortnite Battle Royale – as it launched him and his teammate high in the air. The shopping carts had been rumored to be on the way to the popular battle royale game for some time now, and were finally added with the v4.3.0 update on May 30th. The new update also added consumable Mushrooms, which similar to the Apples added previously which grant +5 health, these fungi will give players a +5 shield boost. More: Fortnite Refund System Added Back To Battle Royale Store – How To Use Self-Service Returns for Skins and Items – But the shopping carts are likely the most game changing addition, being the first real ‘vehicle’ to be added – although players can’t actually move much faster than they would simply sprinting. However, if this insane glitch found by CaMiLLs is anything to go by, these new shopping carts will be more useful than first impressions would suggest. Playing with other popular streamers and YouTubers CDNThe3rd, RequiemSlaps and fellow TSM member “HighDistortion”, the team came across a very peculiar issue with building at the same time as riding a cart. As RequiemSlaps rode the cart with CaMiLLs pushing, the duo built wood walls and ramps over the water section ‘Loot Lake’, the pair were suddenly were launched flying into the air. FLYING SHOPPING KART!!!! @CDNThe3rd @RequiemSlaps @HighDistortion pic.twitter.com/Q2jryqxdEx — CaMiLLs (@TSM_CaMiLLs) May 30, 2018 It is unclear if this is a one off, or if it can be replicated by following CaMiLLs and his teammates approach. If it can be, then these Shopping Carts could be used similarly to the Launch Pads – although with no option to open the glider players will have to careful not to die from fall damage. Epic Games is usually quick to address all the bugs and glitches resulting from new items, so they are no doubt already on the case – meaning you may need to act fast if you want to try this out yourself.

I wasn’t going to rush into anything that I would regret months later. As for why he chose TSM over another organization, he explained that he’s also been a fan of them and wanted a team that believed in him. “It means a lot to join an organization that is believing in me and treating me like a family, especially when that org is TSM,” he explained. “I have always been a fan of the organization, and hopefully I am going to have a great future with them.” This looks to be the last of TSM’s pickups going into the World Cup, but there are still numerous free agent Fortnite players out there looking for teams, so stay tuned for more potential signings.

  • TSM adds Fortnite Champion Series winner to stacked roster – Dexerto

TSM adds Fortnite Champion Series winner to stacked roster L: TSM R: Epic GamesFortnite Champion Series. MackWood competed with Fortnite pros yung calculator and Anthony ‘ZexRow’ Colandro, who is also a TSM member, and came away with a first-place finish in the FNCS in the NA East region, where the three players were able to split the $280,000 they won together. Just a day after the event wrapped, it was announced MackWood joined TSM in what has been a poorly kept secret. TSM poked a little fun with their announcement by asking everyone to act like they were surprised by the news MackWood was signed. All in all, it’s a major signing by the team as they now feature a Fortnite roster that is able to rival any organization in the game right now. The next Fortnite Champion Series format has already been revealed and it’s going to feature squads this time around. It seems like a safe bet to assume MackWood and ZexRow will again be teaming up together but who the other two players are remains to be seen. If they want to keep it within TSM, there’s a good pool of talent to pick from. Malachi ‘Reverse2k’ Greiner signed with the renowned organization earlier in the year after rising to prominence during the World Cup qualifiers as Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins’ teammate. While the two didn’t make it as a duo, Reverse2k was still able to qualify as a solo player. The two most recent signings by TSM included Emad and Crue, who both signed in late August. At this rate, it’ll just be a matter of time before TSM adds another big name to their roster. Mitr0 recently went through a split with his org, Team Atlantis, and might be looking for the opportunity to make the jump to a bigger team.

  • TSM add two more Fortnite stars to already stacked roster – Dexerto

TSM add two more Fortnite stars to already stacked roster Team SoloMid has announced it has added two new Fortnite pros to a roster that is already considered fearsome. On August 30, TSM revealed on Twitter that Emad ‘EmadGG’ Nasif and Theo ‘Crue’ Ferrer are the latest additions to the squad of Fortnite players. Emad has been a tournament Fortnite threat since qualifying for the finals of the Summer Skirmish at PAX West in 2018. While Emad didn’t qualify for the World Cup, he has been making a name for himself by frequently playing with Tfue and 72hrs regularly. As his personal brand grows, he was bound to become a very hot commodity for teams. “TSM was always my dream org to join – I even asked Myth to try out for the team back in July 2018. When TSM reached out to me I just had a huge smile on my face. It felt like I accomplished something HUGE,” Emad said. “I’m so excited to be a part of this org and I can’t wait for what will happen next!” We’re thrilled to announce our two newest signings to #TSMFortnite, @EmadGG_, and @TSM_Crue! Please welcome them aboard https://t.co/ly5HR4F2bA pic.twitter.com/EutFJeiuxV — High Warlord TSM (@TSM) August 30, 2019 Crue, meanwhile, finished sixth in the Solos tournament of the Fortnite World Cup Finals, where he took home $600,000, while also placing 22nd in Duos Finals with his fellow countryman chapix to the tune of $100,000. “I’m happy to join a huge organization like TSM. I look forward to competing and improving on my road to become the best player I can be. I can’t wait to share my journey with my followers as well,” Crue stated. The two players will join a strong lineup of content creators and pro players at TSM, including the likes of Myth, Daequan, Hamlinz, Vinny1x, Zexrow, and more. “It is always a pleasure to play a pivotal role in helping these young players grow and make their dreams into reality,” TSM said in a statement. “We hope for our fans to join us in welcoming Emad and Crue into the TSM family and show them the support they deserve!”

  • TSM add three to Fortnite roster, including first female player – Dexerto

TSM add three to Fortnite roster, including first female player Team SoloMid was one of the first teams to dive into the competitive Fortnite scene and with their latest announcement, they’ve made another first. As teased by TSM Fortnite captain Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani, TSM has made some new additions to their Fortnite roster with the signings of Maria ‘ChicaLive’ Lopez, Karman ‘Kaysid’ Sidhu, and Noah ‘Cowboy’ Cmiel. The names are ones that should be familiar to fans of competitive Fortnite as all three have been active in the community all year long. ChicaLive, who is also the first female member signed to TSM’s Fortnite roster, has competed in both the Summer Skirmish and KEEMSTAR’s Friday Fortnite tournaments earlier this year. “I have a deep respect and admiration for the individual members of TSM as well as the organization.” – ChicaLive Cowboy also makes his way to TSM after having been active in the competitive community all year, with his most recent appearance being with Kaysid during the Fall Skirmish. Kaysid is joining TSM after having previously been signed with NRG Esports, making him the only signing to have previous experience with an esports org. • Travis Scott Fortnite event leaked and teased in-game – Dexerto

Travis Scott Fortnite event leaked and teased in-game Wikimedia Commons / Epic GamesIt looks like the Travis Scott skin that was leaked months ago in Fortnite might finally be making an appearance, as an in-game teaser seems to confirm some kind of Travis Scott event or performance coming, as well as new leaks. Back in February, data miners found a cosmetic set with Travis Scott’s name on it, but so far, it’s not been added to the game officially. The Houston rapper and producer is known to be a fan of the game, having jumped into some matches with Drake and Ninja back in 2018, and now he may finally be getting his own event/performance, in addition to the skin. On April 16, leakers revealed a new ‘Jerky’ event was in the game files, and apparently the playlist used for the Marshmello event was also named ‘Jerky’ in the files, meaning it could be something similar. Now, teasers have been spotted in-game which all but confirm a Travis Scott performance is coming. The main one is the ending to his song ‘Highest in the Room’ can be heard playing quietly in certain areas of the map. In addition to the music playing, players have also noticed new posters for the event dotted around the map. They don’t say much, but there is a music logo on them, hinting at a performance in-game. Then leakers decrypted the audio and a texture file which will likely be used for the event. Around the outside of the purple area, it looks like fair rides such as rollercoasters and carousels. This would fit in with the theme of Travis Scott’s last album, Astroworld, which was all set at a fairground. At his live shows, he even had a fully functioning rollercoaster. https://twitter.com/HYPEX/status/1251394044653166593 This is the object that can be seen in the distance and where the song is playing, as can be seen in this image (via FortTory). When is the Travis Scott event in Fortnite? Unfortunately, we have no idea when the event will be yet. However, we can make some educated guesses. It’s unlikely to take place during the week, with Saturdays or Sundays much more common for in-game events like these. If Epic chooses to do it the same way as the Marshmello performance, it will be a Saturday, so potentially April 25, one week from when the teaser was revealed in-game.

  • Travis Scott Fortnite concert location revealed – Dexerto

Travis Scott Fortnite concert location revealed WikiMedia Commons/Epic GamesFortnite players have started uncovering even more details about the upcoming Travis Scott live event – with the location of the concert stage now found. As the Fortnite seasons have unfolded and the game’s popularity has exploded, Epic Games have done a number of crossovers with real-world pop culture. Some of these have come in the form of cosmetics, new in-game locations, and even limited-time modes – though, some of the biggest have been real-time events. EDM DJ Marshmello set the bar all the way back in season seven when he held an actual concert at Pleasant Park. More recently, Risky Reels was transformed to show off a trailer for Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. Next, it seems, will be the turn of Travis Scott. The rapper, who has had hugely popular tracks in the form of Sicko Mode and Antidote, had been rumored to have a skin coming to Fortnite when Chapter 2, Season 2 kicked off. That, still, hasn’t proven to be the case but he does seem to be holding a concert. Leakers uncovered in-game files that found songs from the Astroworld artist being played and have now gone one step further – finding the location of the concert. Reliable data miner HYPEX noted that if players head to one of the small islands between Sweaty Sands and The Shark, they’ll see that a stage is being constructed. That location lines up with what has already been uncovered in the previous leaks. The Travis Scott concert stage is getting build next to Sweaty Sands! [📸: @ImEntoYT] pic.twitter.com/TEpN9HWbg5 — HYPEX (@HYPEX) April 19, 2020 As of writing, there hasn’t been a date confirmed for the in-game concert, though, many fans have speculated that is it most likely to come around a weekend – so that everybody can enjoy the concert. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what Epic chooses to do, especially as they also seem to be building towards a cinematic event to finish off Season 2.

  • Travis Scott Astronomical event sets huge new Fortnite player record – Dexerto

Travis Scott Astronomical event sets huge new Fortnite player record Epic GamesFortnite has outdone itself once again — Epic’s battle royale has reportedly shattered its old concurrent player record, as a giant Travis Scott took fans across an Astronomical musical adventure through fire, water, and space. The world’s biggest battle royale never shies away from ambitious in-game events. The title’s original map was blown up by a huge black hole in October. Hollywood franchises like Marvel and Star Wars had their own Fortnite events too. With these mega-events always come huge influxes of players logging in too. Marshmello’s ground-breaking in-game concert enticed over 10 million fans into the game. A year later, it looks like Travis Scott has broken that record again. Astronomical event sets new Fortnite player record According to the Fortnite developers, it was another record-breaking event. Soon after the first of five in-game concerts finished, the minds behind the battle royale magic took to Twitter to reveal just how many players had tuned in. “Over 12.3 million concurrent players participated live in Travis Scott’s Astronomical, an all-time record!” the official account shared on April 23. It was certainly a moment in the title’s history that will never be forgotten. The Houston star appeared on a custom-built stage on the Sweaty Sands island on the dot at 7pm for players in America. The show lasted roughly 15 minutes. Like Marshmello’s game-changing event last year, Scott’s whimsical musical adventure took players through strobe lights, flaming arenas, and even a short journey in space itself. A giant Travis Scott loomed over all for five tracks. Over 12.3 million concurrent players participated live in Travis Scott’s Astronomical, an all-time record! Catch an encore performance before the tour ends: https://t.co/D7cfd2Vxcc — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) April 24, 2020 Of course, in-game players weren’t the only people watching either — according to a report from LightShed, two million fans also tuned in on streaming services. 1.2 million watched on YouTube, 833k on Twitch, and 25k on Mixer. Scott himself seemed to have loved the event too. The rap superstar took to Twitter just after his Fortnite concert debut, professing his love for the moment. “Honestly, today was one of the most inspiring days… I know times are weird for us. But for one moment, to be able to have the ragers to rage [sic] wherever you are is amazing. Love you guys with all my body!!” he said. HONESTLY TODAY WAS ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRING DAYS. • Trainwrecks offers $16k to Fortnite pro after DreamHack Dallas fight – Dexerto

Trainwrecks offers $16k to Fortnite pro after DreamHack Dallas fight Twitch: Trainwrecks / Epic GamesTwitch streamer Tyler ‘Trainwrecks’ Niknam has stunned the Fortnite esports community by offering $16k to DiegoPlayz, the Fortnite competitor who hit the headlines after being involved in a fight at DreamHack Dallas. Prior to DreamHack Dallas, many Fortnite esports fans may have been unfamiliar with DiegoPlayz, but the Moon Unit pro hit the headlines after getting into a physical altercation with an opponent during the event. According to Diego (and others at the event), he was deliberately targeted by an opponent and lost out on $8,000 as a result. That prompted the scuffle, which was quickly broken up by other players and fans. Now, an unexpected development has seen Twitch giant Trainwrecks wade into the situation, and probably not how most expected. In a series of June 5 tweets, the Twitch streamer – known to his audience for his monster donations and benevolence – commended Diego for his apology and offered to compensate him for the earnings he lost as a result of his opponent’s griefing. “Bro, you stood up for yourself and your hard work, f*ck that kid and anyone else telling you otherwise,” Train said. He then went onto offer Diego double the money he lost: “send me your bitcoin address, f*ck the 8k, I’ll send you 16[k].” send me your bitcoin address, fuck the 8k, I’ll send you 16 — Trainwreck (@Trainwreckstv) June 5, 2022 Responses to Train’s offer varied significantly, but many were delighted at the gesture. Well-known Fortnite pro benjyfishy replied saying that Train was “different”, while PSG player Muz simply replied to call the exchange a “W”. It’s the latest in a series of generous acts on Train’s behalf. Back in April, the Twitch favorite gave a whopping $120,000 to streamer Jake’n’Bake so he could buy his dream vehicle. While some were disappointed and suggested Train was supporting someone who resorted to a physical altercation, many were pleased to see Diego receive the money he was originally deprived of.

  • Toy Story meets Fortnite in this incredible Creative mode creation – Dexerto

Toy Story meets Fortnite in this incredible Creative mode creation Seyyamifidan/TimeAs it’s name would suggest, Fortnite Battle Royale’s new Creative move was added for players to be exactly that – creative. One player, however, has taken the meaning of creativity to a whole new level. ‘Seyyamifidan,’ as he’s known on Instagram, decided to fuse Fortnite with one of the most popular animated movie series of all time – Toy Story. With the multitude of designing and building tools that the Creative mode has to offer at his full disposal, the player created a replica of Andy Davis’ bedroom, where most of the original film’s plot takes place. Andy, of course, is the six-year-old boy whose toys suddenly spring to life when he’s not around, and do all kinds of interesting things like interact with each other and go on adventures. While every aspect and detail of the bedroom was not perfectly recreated in the Fortnite version, there is no doubt that the overall result was very well done and anyone who’s seen Toy Story would instantly know exactly what was going on. One thing that the player did extremely well, which is noticeable almost immediately, is capture the perfect scale of the bedroom to the on-screen Fortnite character. In Toy Story, when the toys’ perspective is observed, common pieces of furniture such as chairs, desks, and couches seem very large compared to their small stature and size. That size difference is very much sensed in the video, especially at the beginning, when the character first emerges from behind a cabinet and uses a Jump Pad to glide all the way down. They made Toy Story in Fortnite  (via seyyamifidan/Instagram) pic.twitter.com/l7K7Bcysdk — B/R Gaming (@BRGaming) December 18, 2018 It seems that the use of elements from popular animated shows and moves for inspiration in Fortnite’s Creative mode is becoming a trend for those who find thrill in re-imagining interests from their childhood. Most recently, popular YouTuber ‘WhosChaos’ recreated a fully function version of the Titans Tower from the Teen Titans series, which he spent over 10 hours to finish, making sure every slight detail was accounted for. As more and more of these amazing projects and concepts come to fruition, Epic Games will be very pleased knowing that all of their hard work in developing the Creative mode is paying off.

  • Where to find tornado locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 – Dexerto

Where to find tornado locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Epic GamesIf you’re trying to figure out where to find a tornado in Fortnite Chapter 3, you’re not alone, as they don’t actually show up that often – but here are the best locations to find them. As well as new environmental features like Tall Grass for stealthy takedowns and Pine Trees that can be knocked over, Epic Games have also introduced new weather conditions to Fortnite: lightning and tornadoes. While lightning gives you a speed boost (at the cost of some health), the big weather condition is tornadoes, as they have the power to rip straight through a gunfight and throw players around the Island when they appear. You’ll also need to go flying inside a tornado for 100 meters if you want to complete all of your weekly challenges, so we’ve got all the information you need below. Contents Where to find tornadoes in Fortnite The bad news is that tornadoes spawn at random in Fortnite Chapter 3, meaning you’ll simply have to play until you find one. They aren’t marked on the map, either, so you can’t pinpoint a specific location. Our best tip for finding a tornado is to spend as much time traveling as you can during a match. Grab a car and drive around the Island, paying close attention to the sky as you pass major locations and landmarks. The good news is that there’s a Tornado Week running from Tuesday, January 11, at 9AM ET until Monday, January 17, at 9AM ET, where tornadoes will be much more likely to spawn on the map. How to fly using a tornado in Fortnite If you see a tornado in the distance, don’t run away! Instead, head straight into it and you’ll be swept up inside. While spinning around the tornado, you can launch yourself out at any time and begin gliding. • Top mobile Fortnite player proves his skill in response to getting publicly doubted by Ninja – Dexerto

Top mobile Fortnite player proves his skill in response to getting publicly doubted by Ninja One of the best mobile players of Fortnite Battle Royale has responded to his doubters the only way he knows how – by proving his skill. As arguably the best known mobile Fortnite content creator, AdamxLegend’s exploits often get questioned and doubted by other players, including the likes of prominent Twitch streamer Ninja, who has publicly said that he “wouldn’t trust any mobile player or score.” However, in response to the apparent criticism, the YouTuber published a video featuring gameplay of him completing a pro level editing course on an iPad. In order to prove that his skill was legitimate and not the byproduct of using a gamepad, he also included a live recording of his hands tapping away on his iPad in sync with the gameplay. The course he completes in the video was created by Team Secret pro player Mongraal and features a series of pathways blocked by structures that need to be edited in a way that allow the player to advance, all while never stopping their sprint. Putting aside the fact that this video was made as a response to his doubters, it’s stunning to actually see someone possess that much skill in Fortnite while playing on a mobile device. Seeing the handcam and gameplay side-by-side does inspire respect for Adam and the amount of time, dedication, and effort he’s devoted to perfecting his craft. The video was also posted on Reddit and many viewers commented on the post about how they could not play that well with a controller or mouse and keyboard, let alone an iPad. In order to make it clear that the video was not meant to hate on Ninja or anyone in any way, the YouTuber also included this message, which reveals that he just wanted to convince his doubters that he was not using an external device.
