  • GTA Online fans mock “sad” players who wait months to get revenge – Dexerto

GTA Online fans mock “sad” players who wait months to get revenge RockstarGTA Online fans have mocked a player who claimed they’ve waited months to claim revenge in-game, as it turns out some of them have had similar experiences. While a lot of GTA Online players prefer to stick to smaller lobbies, using their friends to grind out business jobs, many others still try their best to actually progress while in lawless public lobbies. Playing in a public lobby puts you at risk of coming across hackers, but the worst thing might be those players who decide that they just want to kill anyone they come across – again and again and again. It’s a genuine pain. There are also players who hold onto grudges after being killed. In fact, as Redditor itsKillShot677 put it, one player claimed they’d be trying to get revenge for almost a year, and others have had similar experiences. “This little gremlin is still angry about me killing him more than half a year ago… he kept bragging about 143 livestream viewers too,” they said, revealing an in-game message from the player who’d been waiting for revenge since December 2023. “I had something similar happen to me but my opponent didn’t specify the time he just said 4 months ago, it’s honestly sad,” one player said. “Like I hold a grudge and like to get revenge but this is next level,” another added. “Rent free for over 6 months is impressive,” commented another. Two other GTA fans had even had a run-in with the same player that itsKillShot677 did. “Yo I ran into this guy like a few days ago and he sent me the same thing. I just laughed it off,” one of them said. Others commented that they’d taken a note of the player’s name and were preparing to “grief” him in order to get a similar response. “Just added the guy as a friend on Xbox. If I see them on GTA I’m definitely joining,” another player added.

  • GTA Online fans convinced “boring” Bottom Dollar Bounties update has Rockstar all in on GTA 6 – Dexerto

GTA Online fans convinced “boring” Bottom Dollar Bounties update has Rockstar all in on GTA 6 Rockstar GamesGTA Online players are convinced that Rockstar are in “full swing” when it comes to GTA 6 as some of them found the new Bottom Dollar Bounties update a bit “boring.” Every summer, you can count on Rockstar Games dropping a pretty big update for GTA Online. This year has been no different, as the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC was released on June 25. As the name suggests, the update allows you to live out your Dog the Bounty Hunter fantasies and chase down some of Los Santos’ biggest criminals. You can set up the Bail Office business, complete some contact jobs for Vincent, and get your hands on some new cars – including a handful of police-themed vehicles. Even though the update hasn’t been live for all that long, a number of players have found it “boring,” leading them to believe that Rockstar is pretty much just focused on GTA 6. “If I’m being honest, the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties was meh at best. Most the missions feel very repetitive, feels like every other business in the game prior to this update. Yup, GTA VI is 100% in full swing at Rockstar – thank god,” tweeted one fan. “Yeah it’s kinda boring, could’ve done so much more with this update,” another added. “The best thing about this DLC is knowing GTA 6 is 1 day closer to being released,” another commented. While some players argued that the content is “fine” in the update, others added that GTA Online is “on its last legs” because of GTA 6. “Idk why everyone keeps expecting huge updates and support to a game at the end of its life cycle,” said another player. Other players are still hoping that a ‘final’ GTA Online update revolves around Michael, as he’s the only single-player character to not appear in multiplayer. Ned Luke, the actor behind Michael, has indicated that he’s up for it, so maybe fans will get their wish before GTA 6 drops in 2025.

  • GTA Online fan discovers incredible Franklin easter egg in The Contract update – Dexerto

GTA Online fan discovers incredible Franklin easter egg in The Contract update Rockstar GamesThe GTA Online community is buzzing after discovering an incredible easter egg about Franklin Clinton’s rise to power inside of the game’s newest update The Contract. Anyone who has played GTA V knows the trials and tribulation that Franklin — one of the game’s three main characters —faced on his way up the top of the Los Santos hierarchy. From joining a gang at a young age to being viciously double-crossed in his adult life, there were plenty of struggles that held the fan-favorite character back during his ascension. That’s why a tiny detail from his previous life means so much to the people in the know. GTA Online fan discovers incredible easter egg in The Contract The easter egg is centered around a small detail in Franklin’s office at The Agency. A close look at the poster on his wall reveals that the text reads “You Own Los Santos.” Franklin’s status as a major player in the city is well established by the time The Contract takes place, but fans with keen eyes and big brains may recognize the poster from the CEO’s old bedroom, where a different version hung near his bed. The text originally read “Los Santos Owns You” but has clearly been torn and rearranged sometime before being installed in the office. This small attention-to-detail moment has had a ripple effect amongst the community. One user shared that little details are what keep veteran fans hooked: “For a game that gets written off for chaos and silliness, Rockstar never fails to sneak in a little extra emotional impact and nostalgia huh? That’s why I keep coming back every time.” This might be a minor detail, but it means a lot to a good portion of the playerbase, and it adds another entry to the list of reasons fans have called The Contract the best GTA Online update yet.

  • GTA Online fan cosplays as ‘Crack Of Dawn’ artwork in swimming pool – Dexerto

GTA Online fan cosplays as ‘Crack Of Dawn’ artwork in swimming pool Rockstar GamesGTA Online has lots of different artwork for people to look at in-game, but one player has tried to start her own trend by recreating the paintings in real-life – starting with one called ‘Crack of Dawn’. Cosplays of well-known characters are not new by any means, especially in the video game space. Tommy Vercetti, most notably, has become one of the most popular cosplays for fans to attempt since the release of GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition. However, the idea of cosplaying artwork found within a game is certainly not as common. First, you need a game with a lot of paintings – Rockstar certainly ticks that box with its titles – and secondly, people determined enough to recreate them. Well, it seems the Grand Theft Auto community now ticks both boxes. GTA Online player cosplays as in-game artwork On January 12, one Reddit user called leemadz revealed their take on the ‘Crack of Dawn’ painting from GTA 5. For those who have never seen it before, it features a girl in a swimming pool, showing just her back. If you look closely, instead of using a real Martini glass, the poster instead added the same GTA Online graphic to the corner. A nice touch to complete this recreation. In the replies, one player said: “Some of the art in the game is legitimately good! I want to see more of this!” Another commented in the thread, adding: “I wonder if any others are based on IRL pictures?” Whether or not this will spark a new art-based cosplay trend in the Grand Theft Auto community remains to be seen.

  • GTA Online exploit lets you save any CEO job outfit – Dexerto

GTA Online exploit lets you save any CEO job outfit Rockstar GamesThis simple trick lets players keep any of their CEO outfits saved in GTA Online even after retiring from their in-game organization. Organizations were introduced to GTA Online during the massive Executives and Other Criminals content update in 2015, allowing players to become CEOs or VIPs and take on new missions in Los Santos. While many new game modes and jobs were introduced in the update, one aspect that initially caught players’ eyes were the exclusive outfits, only available to those with the CEO status. GTA Online players have had plenty of time to try them out since their initial release, however, one YouTuber Tobster 2346 recently shared a trick that would allow you to save all of the different CEO styles to your outfits. Once saved, you would be able to equip the CEO outfits in GTA Online without needing to maintain your own Organization. You can follow all of the steps below to try it out for yourself. How to save any CEO outfits in GTA Online Go to your interaction menu. Select ‘Jobs’ in the Hide Options tab and change ‘All Jobs’ to the Custom setting. – Make your way to the blue job circle outside of the Sub Urban store in Hawick, Vinewood. – Register your character as a CEO and choose the outfit you want to save. Once you’re ready go into the blue circle and launch the race. – Confirm all settings and press play until you reach the ‘Choose your Vehicle’ screen, from here you will need to press Right or Left on your D-pad four times and then quit the race. – After quitting the race you should spawn back in the same circle in your original outfit. You will then need to go into the store and press right on the D-pad to browse some of the shirts in front of you. – Once here, you will simply need to wait until it kicks you from choosing anything. After you get booted out and your CEO outfit is re-equipped, retire as a CEO and you should be able to save that outfit for future use. – It is worth noting that if you wait too long to browse the clothes after leaving the race, your outfit will switch back by itself, which will require you to start the steps over. Once you have saved your favorite CEO outfits in the store, feel free to revert the map settings and enjoy switching between your new styles.

  • GTA Online player reveals crazy routine to make $100m in two weeks – Dexerto

GTA Online player reveals crazy routine to make $100m in two weeks Take-Two InteractiveA GTA Online user who quickly made $100 million of in-game cash has told fellow players about how to earn money fast in Cayo Perico. Since its introduction in a late 2020 update, Grand Theft Auto Online’s Cayo Perico has proven the go-to destination for easy money. Notably, the island paradise plays host to a massive score replete with expensive loot, which players can try taking advantage of by helming a heist. Prep work and assembling a competent crew can help mitigate the challenge of walking away with a good score. But taking on the Cayo Perico Heist solo serves as another way of raking in a lot of cash. GTA Online player on how to earn fast money in-game Reddit user Ducky935 has earned $300 million in GTA Online, $100 million of which they apparently secured in less than two weeks. The secret to the player’s riches lies on the island of Cayo Perico, where repeated playthroughs of the heist allowed them to rake in millions of dollars. In a follow-up Reddit post, Ducky935 noted that earning an “easy $1 million every heist” helped them achieve their ambitious $300 million goal. Each mission requires five “super-easy” preps; plus, those who “play fast,” should be able to wrap up the finale in 10 minutes or so. Finally, playing solo means all profits from the gig go to one person. Several Redditors chimed in to lament the grind involved in navigating the Cayo Perico heist multiple times. Even the original poster called the Cayo Perico activities “boring,” saying they mostly focused their attention on other forms of entertainment while playing. At the very least, GTA Online users looking to quickly earn lots of money now know of a surefire, albeit tedious, method.

  • GTA Online devs hint at plans for future DLCs & updates – Dexerto

GTA Online devs hint at plans for future DLCs & updates Rockstar GamesGTA Online has survived the test of time, and almost 10 years later, its developers are still eager to make more content. As GTA 6 rumors intensify, Rockstar Games remains committed to GTA Online. The game launched in 2013 and has consistently performed well every year since. Updates don’t occur as frequently these days, but GTA Online usually receives new content for holidays, including Halloween and Christmas. Community members have also remained loyal to the game, but their commitment faces a tough test. The developers are in an ongoing and messy battle with hackers, who discovered a way to kick players from games or even corrupt data, impacting the function of PCs. Rockstar has responded multiple times, consistently rolling out updates to resolve the issue. Going beyond bug fixes and eliminating hacking, the developers still have a few tricks up their sleeves for GTA Online’s final act. GTA Online developers reaffirm commitment to future content GamesRadar interviewed Rockstar North design director Scott Butchard, and he opened up on what’s next for the storied franchise. “Frankly, there are so many cool ideas and directions we can take, and it’s great to still surprise our players and give them something to be excited about,” says Butchard. “It’s super important to us that players find new ways to connect with each other – whether through events we create or by us providing the tools for them to create their own moments. We’ve got a bunch of ideas in the works right now, all the way up until the Holidays at the end of the year, so please stay tuned!” Buthchard didn’t shed too much light on specifics for what the team has in mind, but GTA Online fans will be relieved to know more content is on the way.

GTA Online Dec 16 update: Patch notes & secret changes revealed Rockstar GamesA new GTA Online update was rolled out on December 16 by Rockstar Games, and here are the full patch notes including fixes for crashing issues and the Up-n-Atomizer festive skin. It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Grand Theft Auto V players, with a Winter update on the way and likely – once again – snow will fall right across the map. A number of new vehicles have already leaked for the upcoming event but before the festivities kick off fully, the dev team has some fixing to do. • Strange GTA Online glitch lets cops kill you after they’ve died – Dexerto

Strange GTA Online glitch lets cops kill you after they’ve died Take-Two InteractiveA GTA Online player recently encountered a strange glitch wherein cops were able to kill them from beyond the grave. By now, Grand Theft Auto Online players have become accustomed to the multiplayer game’s ridiculous number of bugs. Some glitches prove relatively minor, hardly impacting the overall experience. Other in-game errors can cause quite the ruckus, though, resulting in randomly exploding cars and locking users out of explorable locations. Considering how often the title receives updates, issues of this nature will undoubtedly persist for a long time to come. But one recent bug especially has players scratching their heads in confusion. GTA Online cops kill one player at the weirdest time Object_Middle_696 shared a brief gameplay clip on Reddit that showcases their strange encounter with a GTA Online police officer. In the middle of a shootout with police, the player manages to get the upper hand and hit one surviving cop with a killing blow. All seems well and good until the officer in question, who’s dying on the ground, eerily fires off one last shotgun blast. That final shot instantly kills the player. Stranger still, the game seems to recognize the cop’s death beforehand, since the “Wasted” screen claims the player character took their own life. Reddit user Shashlik_McBlin pointed out that some dying NPCs have a chance to pull the trigger due to the “shock of the fall.” RearWheelDriveCult chimed in as well, noting that sometimes a falling gun will go off even if no one’s holding it. This isn’t the first time that a Redditor has shared such a clip, either. Several weeks ago, another GTA Online player ran into an NPC whose gun fired a kill shot after the enemy’s death. Cops or no cops, then, GTA Online players would do well to be mindful of NPCs supposedly succumbing to death with guns still equipped.

  • All new GTA Online vehicles coming in Criminal Enterprises update – Dexerto

All new GTA Online vehicles coming in Criminal Enterprises update Take-Two InteractiveGTA Online’s impending Criminal Enterprises update will introduce 18 new vehicles to the multiplayer experience, according to early patch details. The Criminal Enterprises DLC has finally gone live for GTA Online players, bringing with it a myriad of ways for intrepid entrepreneurs to expand their business. A new mission, Operation Paper Trail, will also arrive in the next GTA Online update, its premise centered around a suspected petrochemical conspiracy. Rockstar Games additionally teased the advent of brand-new vehicles, though they’ve only released a handful on the first day of the update. Legendary Motorsports – Criminal Enterprises cars As usual, Legendary Motorsports has got the most stock of new vehicles for GTA Online’s newest update, with four new cars being available for purchase. These include the Benefactor LM87 ($2,915,000), Pegassi Torero XO ($2,890,000), Lampadati Corsita ($1,795,000), and the Obey Omnis E-GT ($1,795,000). Southern San Andreas Super Autos – Criminal Enterprises cars The only other car that has been added so far, that players have found at least, is over on Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It’s the stylish Bravado Greenwood that can cost anywhere from $1,098,750 to $1,465,000 depending on how you want to style it before hitting the road in it. Elitas Travel – Criminal Enterprises vehicles Now, no big GTA Online update would be complete without something to roam the skies in, and that’s exactly what you’ll find on Elitas Travel. A new helicopter – the Conada – is available to purchase from the executive vehicles website, but it will set you back between $1,837,500 and $2,450,000. However, you can’t add weapons to it, it’s just a stylish way to cut through the skies. GTA Online Criminal Enterprises drip feed cars & vehicles As with any GTA Online update, Rockstar Games will also be drip-feeding a host of new vehicles over the next few weeks, and we have some idea about them. GTANet’s WildBrick142 (via Tez2) recently took to GTAforums to share a host of details about what’s coming to Criminal Enterprises. The summer update will reportedly unlock access to 18 all-new vehicles, including Corsita, Conada, Draugur, Greenwood, “Kanjosj”, lm87, Omnisegt, Postlude, Rhinehart, Ruiner4, sm722, Tenf, Torero2, and Vigero2. Some, of course, are already out. WildBrick142 claims the following rides from Benny’s will round out the forthcoming additions, as well: Brioso (Brioso3), Sentinel Classic (Sentinel4), Tenf (Tenf2), and Weevil (Weevil2). Plus, players will have the option to upgrade the Greenwood and Omnisegt vehicles with Imani Tech. Criminal Enterprises counts as Grand Theft Auto Online’s first major update of 2022. Rockstar Games rolled out the last content drop of note, The Contract, in December 2021. Notably, The Contract brought GTA V protagonist Franklin Clinton back to the forefront, allowing players to explore a new adventure that also featured music legend Dr. Dre. In addition to fresh missions, The Contract also launched with extra vehicles, weapons, and a property called The Agency. It remains to be seen how Criminal Enterprises will stack up.

  • GTA Online contract mission is giving out $600k and people are cashing in – Dexerto

GTA Online contract mission is giving out $600k and people are cashing in Rockstar via IsuckAtDriving YTPeople are coming across a huge payday in GTA Online that’s giving them upwards of $600k of in-game currency for a contract mission that takes them less than an hour to wrap up – and people are cashing in. GTAO has tons of heists and missions to go on for players to earn cash. However, a lot of activities don’t always feel like the hassle or time was worth the pay out they give. This has been a recurring annoyance for a lot of GTA Online veterans, who’ve been clamoring for more variety from Rockstar aside from the Cayo Perico heist that recently launched. GTA Online Union Depository Contract payout With decent payouts seemingly hard to come by without investing a lot in the planning stages, the Union Depository Contract has been something of a relief for people lately. Located in the contract board at the Auto Shop, if you have the Union Depository job listed then you can make a healthy sum without much trouble. Reddit user ‘dazzathomas’ managed to get a $630k payout with the help of the x2 event – which means that even without the double pay, there’s still about $300k that can be quickly earned. The poster explained how they completed the contract with two friends, both of whom received about $120k for their troubles, which contributed to the bigger payout. “Depending on the number of players you complete it with the payout will vary, for 3 people it totaled 315K and then the double money brings it to 630,” they said. “Others have said that they got 500k, 530K, 585K, and so on.” Many agreed that for the money, this is a contract that’s not only easy to complete but ranks as one of the fastest ways to make money in GTA Online. Going by other players’ accounts, even if you’re going to do it solo, then you can expect payouts in the $500k range – so it’s time to cash in.

  • GTA Online confirmed as free-to-play on PS5 – Dexerto

GTA Online confirmed as free-to-play on PS5 Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have confirmed that there will be a free-to-play version of Grand Theft Auto Online once it launches on next-gen console – giving players the chance to experience the game on a third generation of consoles with the PS5 and Xbox Series X. With expectations of a GTA 6 announcement taking over parts of the Grand Theft Auto fanbase, Rockstar Games delivered a teasing blow to those hopes during the PlayStation 5 reveal event. GTA V was the first game given the spotlight, with plenty of players hoping that the near-decade old title was going to give way to a GTA 6 logo. Instead, the developers revealed that an “expanded and enhanced” edition of the game would be making its way to the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. On top of that, the developers also revealed that the hugely successful GTA Online portion of things would also be making the move. Rockstar revealed that the multiplayer mode would be free-to-play on next-gen. Though, sadly, there were not any other details revealed about how players will be able to jump into the madness that is Los Santos without needing GTA V on PS5 or Xbox Series X. A new standalone version of GTA Online is coming in the second half of 2021, which will be available for free exclusively for PlayStation 5 players during the first three months.https://t.co/ukg8iItxSo pic.twitter.com/5I5DcOznCd — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) June 11, 2020 The main theory seems to be that GTA Online will have its own launcher on the next generation of consoles that is separate from GTA V. This would, seemingly, allow players to dive right into online without needing the single-player mode to launch first. On top of that, PlayStation fans will also benefit before the launch as they will be given a free $1,000,00 in GTA Online money each month prior to the launch of the PS5 and have the free-to-play version for three months before Xbox touches it. The free-to-play version of GTA Online will be available upon the launch of the PS5, however, Sony have not yet put a date in place for when that will be exactly. Sony noted that the release date and price point will come in a later announcement, though it is still scheduled to launch in the holiday 2020 window.

  • GTA Online community reveals how Rockstar could make game even better – Dexerto

GTA Online community reveals how Rockstar could make game even better Rockstar GamesGTA Online has a plethora of things to do, but that won’t stop fans from wanting more as the community has decided to take matters into its own hands, giving Rockstar suggestions as to how the game could be even better. It’s not the first time the GTA Online community has suggested other content ideas for their beloved game, but sometimes taking the saying “the more the merrier” can really ring true. From heists to vehicle collecting to races, the game has plenty of content for players to go and enjoy. All content that once completed, players repeat over and over. But sometimes that’s not enough, as, for a community like the GTA Online community who’s been holding strong for almost 10 years, they’ll always ask for more reasons to keep enjoying it. GTA Online community gives Rockstar suggestions on how to improve the game In a discussion first started by Mostifnotall on the GTA Online subreddit, the Redditor proposed a simple question, “what would you like to see added in GTA v online?” This question sparked a ton of interest in the comments in which all threw in their suggestions into the online hat. At first, Mostifnotall gave several ideas that Rockstar should maybe implement. They were all creative and different in their own ways. First, they suggested skateboarding as they found it “ludicrous that some type of skateboarding activity hasn’t been implemented in the game,” stating that a game based in Los Angeles like GTA V would be the perfect place for it. They also mentioned the possibility of a shopping mall taking Los Angeles into account once again, that a mall could liven up the city, a change of pace that just isn’t “big, ugly and empty buildings.” The discussion ended up bringing in several ideas from other fans on the Reddit post. Some were ranging in the practical side of it, such as a do not disturb function on your phone, saying that “Tom Conners is so annoying that he’s about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit.” While others gave more content-related ideas such as a “movie studio expansion with Michael” or more heists in general, one that would task players with a “mission to rescue English Dave from Cayo.” GTA Online fans are some of the more diehard fans of any video game there is, with its release in 2013, players are always wanting to add more. Only time will tell if Rockstar will heed their calls.

  • GTA Online community instantly finds way to break Stun Gun after cooldown “fix” – Dexerto

GTA Online community instantly finds way to break Stun Gun after cooldown “fix” Rockstar GamesThere’s never a shortage of players breaking GTA Online – Grand Theft Auto fans always find their way through a mechanic. This time around, though, they’ve found a way to get past the latest Stun Gun cooldown “fix”. Ever since its launch in 2013, GTA Online hasn’t ceased to have players running about in Los Santos. Whether it’s griefing each other, completing heists, or racing fancy cars, there’s always something to do. One thing that’s also always available for the community to do is find ways to break the game. The population has found a plethora of glitches and bugs in the game’s eight-year existence and there’s no sign of them stopping. This one in particular, though, relates to one of the game’s “non-lethal” guns. GTA Online community breaks the Stun Gun For the longest time, players weren’t able to purchase the Stun Gun, forcing them to have to perform glitches or bugs in order to get their hands on it. But with the latest update, Rockstar finally made it available. The weapon was made accessible with The Contract update and on top of that, fans could spam its use. Devs decided to give it a lengthy cooldown duration. This was done in hopes to calm down the improper use. But, as always, GTA Online fans found a way to circumvent that. First brought up by Reddit user _Publicharp_ on the GTA Online subreddit, they showcased a way to still have the Stun Gun without a cooldown. In order for the Stun Gun to not have a cooldown, players will have to perform a certain number of actions in rapid succession. First, shoot the Stun Gun at a target, then quickly after the gun dischargers, bring up your inventory menu then select “Enable Custom Weapon Loadout”. After that, swap from your main weapon back into the Stun Gun and that’s it – a Stun Gun without cooldown. Players will always look for ways to break GTA Online, be it a Stun Gun or a money glitch. Either way, Rockstar has yet another bug they have to fix.

  • GTA Online community ask Rockstar to add “working headphones” in-game – Dexerto

GTA Online community ask Rockstar to add “working headphones” in-game Rockstar GamesThe GTA Online community is asking for Rockstar Games to implement “working headphones” so that they can listen to music on the go. Known to be an integral part of the game, Grand Theft Auto V’s music choices never cease to amaze. With a soundtrack consisting of a wide variety of radio stations that play different genres of music from reggae and hip hop to hardcore punk and pop, the seemingly everlasting music collection is a fan favorite. That’s why the GTA Online community is asking for it to be available on the go, not just while in a vehicle. GTA Online community wants working headphones Sometimes there’s nothing better than logging onto GTA V, getting in a car, and enjoying the game’s extensive music catalog. Being able to drive in a fictional version of Los Angeles can be exactly what you need. But what if you could take that music wherever you go? First brought up by Reddit user ‘wealboi’ on the official GTA Online subreddit, the Redditor proposed the idea that Rockstar “should add working headphones/earbuds” to allow players to listen to the radio whenever they want. This would make it so players wouldn’t be required to be in their cars to listen to the radio. Giving the ability to walk around Los Santos while jamming out to some sweet tunes if they so choose. The idea was immediately liked by other players on the subreddit, with some of them iterating on the idea, bringing up how an aux cord or Bluetooth to play their own music would be even better. “I still say they should have the option of playing your own music,” said one player. “Like you would with Bluetooth or the aux cord in your car.” Having music on the go could add yet another layer in a game as immersive as GTA V. Only time will tell if Rockstar Games would be open to the idea.

  • How GTA Online players can claim a free $200K & Los Santos Tuner tee in-game – Dexerto

How GTA Online players can claim a free $200K & Los Santos Tuner tee in-game Rockstar GamesRockstar Games are giving players a chance to earn an extra $200,000 in GTA Online, along with the Born x Raised tee from the Los Santos Tuners update. The Los Santos Tuners update injected a ton of content into the game, but players still have to save up their pennies in order to buy into the many new cars that were made available – with more to come throughout the summer. Anything helps in that endeavor so the devs are throwing in some added benefits to completing a Contract, but you’ll have a certain window to do so. Going into the summer, there’s a ton of new races and contracts that were introduced with the Los Santos Tuners patch update that players can complete. On July 24, Rockstar said that it would give players an extra $200,000 in GTA Online as well as a white ‘Born x Raised’ tee for completing a certain type of Contract. All you have to do is pick out a robbery-style Contract and complete it, from the planning stages to pulling off the final job. If you complete a Contract’s final job by August 2, then Rockstar will pay out the extra content for you sometime after that date. Even though setting up for a Contract like a robbery already has some overhead to take into account, this should still help getting enough cash to claim a big-ticket item. Each robbery-style Contract has Planning Works to prepare and a final job to pull it off. Complete a Contract final job through July 28 to earn the Born x Raised White Tee and a bonus GTA$200k, delivered within 72 hours of login after August 2. pic.twitter.com/843mfOfNO7 — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) July 24, 2021 The Los Santos Tuners update also introduced a new level progression system in the form of ‘Rep.’ Leveling up your Rep could be a bit of a climb, so you’ll want to know the fastest way of leveling through the different tiers. There’s still plenty of time to explore everything in the Los Santos Tuners update, with tons of content to keep GTA Online players busy through the summer.

  • GTA Online: Cheapest ways to counter the Oppressor MKII – Dexerto

GTA Online: Cheapest ways to counter the Oppressor MKII Rockstar GamesMKII Oppressor hoverbikes can be absolute nightmares for Grand Theft Auto Online players, but there are a few cheap counters that you can use. Anyone who has dropped into a public session of GTA Online will, more than likely, have come into contact with an MKII Oppressor. The hoverbike has been a thorn in the side of players since it was first released back in 2018. The Oppressor is the vehicle of choice for griefers who take to their ‘broom stick’ and buzz about Los Santos, firing missiles from the skies. Thankfully, there are a few ways to counter them but you will need some cash to do so. Here, we’ve picked out a few of the best cheap counters to the MKII Oppressor’s so that you can get on with your day and not have it ruined by trolls. Heavy Sniper, Minigun, or Explosive Sniper You might that a car might be the cheapest counter, or getting a jet for free from Fort Zancudo, but if you can rack up some ridiculous costs by dying over and over. The hoverbike can actually be damaged and destroyed with weapons like the Heavy Sniper, Minigun, and Explosive Sniper. Obviously, you’ll need to be a bit of a deadeye to pull shots off but it’s certainly cheaper than shelling out seven figures on a car. Nightshark Speaking of dropping seven figures on a car, some players have found that the Nightshark is a bit of a perfect counter. You may ask why is that the case given that it doesn’t have any weapons attached. Well, if you spend the $1,245,000 needed to buy the armored car, you can withstand plenty of damage from the Oppressor’s missiles. If someone is focused on finishing you off, you can simply wait for them to get close and throw a sticky bomb at them. If you manage to pull off the throw and hit your enemy with the sticky bomb, you easily hit the detonator and watch their bike explode. It is a truly magical sight if it comes off. Rogue jet Now, if you’re more adept at taking to the skies, the Rogue fighter jet can outrun the hoverbike pretty quickly and even take to heights that it can’t. It does come with a $1,596,000 price tag, but if you have a decent enough flying skill, you’ll be able to dodge any rockets that come your way. You can even save $300,000 on the price by owning a hangar and completing 6 Steal Cargo jobs. Obviously, these prices can fluctuate depending on the weekly discounts that Rockstar decides to roll out. So, while you’re bolstering your Maze Bank account, it is worth keeping an eye on them as well when they are released each Thursday.

GTA Online Cerberus freemode event locations: Where to find Exotic Export vehicles Rockstar GamesRockstar Games are ramping up the Halloween celebrations in GTA Online with a new Cerberus freemode event. Here’s what you need to know about it. Ever since 2015, Rockstar Games have been celebrating Halloween in GTA Online in a number of spooky and interesting ways with the Halloween Surprise update. Of course, they’ve leaned into the UFO and Bigfoot links that Grand Theft Auto has always had, but they’ve also started sprinkling in movie references too. The likes of Freddie Kruger, Jason Vorhees, classic zombies, Frankenstein, and even Stephen King’s Christine have also gotten some love over the last few years. This time around, with the 2022 event, they’re now referencing the iconic 70’s movie Duel, which sees players being chased by a rampant tanker while they try and deliver an Exotic Export car to Los Santos Docks. So, here’s what you need to know. What is GTA Online Cerberus freemode event? As noted, the event takes the plot of Duel and places it right onto the streets of Los Santos. You’re tasked with picking up a car from one of 12 different locations and have to deliver it to the docks. Once you start the process of stealing the car in question, a raging Apocolypse Cerberus truck will chase you down with one goal – to kill you and make you fail the delivery. Though, it’s not all bad news. The truck wants to take you out, but if you can outrun it for five minutes, it will break down and allow you to complete the delivery with ease. You can also destroy the truck once the chase begins, but it’s not quite that easy. It will also try and run you over once you step out of the target car. GTA Online Cerberus event: Exotic Export locations As we mentioned, there are 12 potential locations for your target car to spawn, and they’re all pretty spread out across Los Santos. Thanks to GTAWeb, you can find each location pinpointed on the map below. So, be sure to check them out. How to start GTA Online Cerberus freemode event With this being a freemode event, you don’t really need to do too much to trigger it in-game. You just need to have been in a lobby – public or private – with at least one other person for 15 minutes. You also cannot have a Helicopter, Plane, Jet, Oppressor Mk2, Oppressor Mk1, Deluxo, Special Vehicle, or an Amphibious Car as your personal vehicle. You have to use literally anything else. Once you’ve ticked those boxes, the event will get underway so prepare for the chase of your life!

  • Where to find Treasure Chests on Cayo Perico in GTA Online – Dexerto

Where to find Treasure Chests on Cayo Perico in GTA Online Rockstar GamesGTA Online players can earn additional cash while on Cayo Perico by finding two daily treasure chests, each worth $15,000. Here’s what you need to know. The addition of the Cayo Perico Heist has given Grand Theft Auto Online fans the chance to earn riches beyond their wildest dreams. Not only is the heist actually the most profitable of the lot, but there are a number of different things to do to bolster your cash reserves. For example, if you buy the mini-sub add-on for the massive Kosatka submarine, you’ll be able to find daily underwater caches that are worth $7,500 cash as well as a nice bit of RP too. Additionally, when you’re scouting out the island of Cayo Perico before the heist, you can find even more treasure chests that are worth $15,000 each. It’s a nice boost and they’re not exactly all that hard to find either. Cayo Perico daily chests locations There are two chests to find each day – one on the island of Cayo Perico itself, and one that will be in the water next to the island. Read More: Fastest GTA Online cars and best to buy – Just like the Peyote Plants that are added every so often, there are few clues that will help you find the chests. First off, you’ll hear the subtle sound of bells ringing as you get close by. Once you get really close, you’ll get a prompt on-screen to help you open the chest. There are 10 locations as to where the chests can be, and they rotate daily. However, GTA YouTuber GTAMen has already put them together for the on-land locations. Head to Cayo Perico to scope out the island – Take a walk around that spot until you hear bells – Keep walking in that area until you get an on-screen message – Open the chest and claim the $15,000! – Cayo Perico underwater chest locations It’s the same process for those that you can find in the water too. Bells will chime when you get nearby, and then you’ll be able to open it. However, as these chests are underwater, you might need a few rebreathers to help you out. You don’t want to drown while trying to make some money now, do you? Again, GTAMen has got the locations, so check these out on a daily basis. Unless Rockstar changes anything moving forward, the chests will only be in these spots, so check them out on a daily basis. Remember, listen out for the sound of bells and be prepared to get wet. The extra money is worth the effort, especially when you’ve got the locations memorized.

  • GTA Online Cayo Perico heist update: Patch notes, new weapons & more – Dexerto

GTA Online Cayo Perico heist update: Patch notes, new weapons & more Rockstar GamesGTA Online is gearing up for its final major update of 2020 – the Cayo Perico Heist patch. So, here’s everything you need to know from release time to patch notes. In late July, Rockstar Games confirmed that they had a new heist in the works for Grand Theft Auto Online players, and that it would be released as a part of the game’s annual winter update. Since then, the GTA developers have confirmed that the new heist is set on a new island known as Cayo Perico, you’ll be able to use a submarine as your heist HQ, and that they’ll be adding a whole host of new content to the game. That includes everything from new radio stations to new cars and a new nightclub. The majority of this new content will play a key role in the heist, but what’s changing? Well, here’s everything we know. What’s coming in GTA Online’s Cayo Perico heist update? Well, the biggest change coming in this new update is, of course, the Cayo Perico Heist. The job looks to have the biggest payout of any of the GTA Online heists too, at around 4 million. Though it will cost around $2,000,000 in set-up because you must own the new submarine. Additionally, there are currently six new vehicles available. That’s not a lot, considering previous GTA Online updates have added upwards of 15, but we’ll see more drip-fed out over time – especially cars, as there is only available right now from the new heist. We’ve already mentioned a new nightclub too – the Music Locker. This is located under the Diamond Casino and will play a role in the heist, as that’s where you’ll trigger the first few steps. GTA Online Cayo Perico submarine price, upgrades & range The standout addition, away from the heist itself, is the new Kosatka submarine. It plays a key role in the heist, as it will act as your base of operations – like the Arcade for the Casino heist. Now, if you want one, it’ll cost $2,200,000 in its standard configuration but you can upgrade it a whole lot, and end up with a total cost of around $9,000,000 – if you go all out with the weapons, vehicle slots, and everything else. Additionally, Rockstar insider TezFun notes that if you spring for the missile system, the guided missiles have a 4000m range. So, if you docked down at Vespucci Beach, you’ll be able to shoot pretty much anywhere across the city. And, there’s only a one-minute cooldown too, so you can really fire off missiles at a rapid rate. Customization for the Submarine You can add a new mini subamine inside!#GTAOnline #TheCayoPericoHeist pic.twitter.com/xhAAfVquNo — GTA GFX (@GTAGFX) December 15, 2020 New weapons in Cayo Perico update There are three new weapons in this new update as well, so its not the raft of additions that many were expecting. As TezFun notes, these are the Perico Pistol, Military Rifle, and Combat Shotgun. The latter two will cost $397,500 and $295,000 respectively, so make sure you’ve got some cash put aside for them. In an official blog post they confirmed a whole host of new details, found below. It says: “Prepare to infiltrate the remote island compound of the world’s most notorious drug dealer in Grand Theft Auto Online’s biggest, most daring, and action-packed addition yet: The Cayo Perico Heist. “It’s up to you to find a way to breach Cayo Perico, one of the most secure private islands in the entire world, evade or neutralize the heavily armed security forces stationed there, and escape with valuable evidence along with as much art, gold and drug money as you can carry. “Choose your tools. The GTA Online Cayo Perico heist arrives on December 15.

  • GTA Online Cayo Perico heist: 5 things we know – Dexerto

GTA Online Cayo Perico heist: 5 things we know Rockstar GamesThe Cayo Perico heist releases December 15, and it’s unlike any GTA Online update we’ve seen before. If there’s one thing that gets a GTA player on the edge of their seat, it’s a new heist. Especially when it’s set on a private island owned by the game’s biggest narcotrafficker, El Rubio. It’s fair to say the Cayo Perico heist has the whole GTA community excited and ready to take on the score of a lifetime. But what do we know about GTA Online’s biggest ever update? Here are five things you should know before Cayo Perico’s release. GTA V’s Cayo Perico can be completed solo Cayo Perico will be the first-ever heist in GTA Online that can be completed solo. This has been a heavily requested feature for heists in the past, so it’s great for fans to see Rockstar finally allowing them to go it alone. Of course, completing the heist solo will mean you keep all of the profit. However, don’t expect it to go easy on you. Judging from the trailer, this heist isn’t going to be a walk in the park. GTA V Cayo Perico vehicles The trailer gave us a good idea of what vehicles we can expect to be using throughout the heist. One of which is an attack helicopter that is guaranteed to deliver plenty of firepower if necessary. However, it appears players will need to acquire a stealthier mode of transport before they can begin the heist. This will be in the form of a submarine that is no doubt required to help you access the island without being detected. Fans will most likely need to purchase the submarine before they can begin the heist. This will be a hefty investment, so let’s hope you’ve got some hard-earned cash saved up. GTA V Cayo Perico characters It looks like Rockstar has a new set of characters for us to meet on the Cayo Perico heist. However, the trailer did reveal a few familiar faces including fan-favorite character English Dave. There’s no doubt he’ll bring a smile to your face, even in the middle of an intense heist. Read more: Latest GTA Online patch notes – Of course, the owner of the island El Rubio made an appearance in the trailer. Considering his reputation, it’ll be interesting to see how much he can be interacted with. GTA V Cayo Perico heist payout As with any heist, it’s important to know how much money you can expect to gain. Well, a tweet from Tez2 may have revealed the exact amount players will receive. During the trailer, fans are shown a digital screen that displays that the Madrazo files are worth $1.1 million and the Secondary Targets total up to around $2.8 million. It’s worth noting that it’s likely players will have to go through a load screen to access Cayo Perico. This means it may not be possible to travel to the island by sea. Either way, the heist trailer has successfully hyped up and excited the GTA community. Fingers crossed the update delivers on expectations and provides a great gameplay experience.

  • GTA Online Casino player reveals ridiculous blackjack earnings of $35m – Dexerto

GTA Online Casino player reveals ridiculous blackjack earnings of $35m YouTube: Rockstar GamesOne GTA Online player showed off their incredible gambling haul, with over $35 million in virtual winnings thanks to blackjack. The beauty of Grand Theft Auto online is that it gives players an open sandbox with tons of activities to do. From the heists and races to just playing leisure games like tennis or lounging at the social club, there are a myriad of ways for players to spend their time in the virtual city of Los Santos. With the Diamond Casino & Resort update back in 2019, players were invited into the casino where they could wager their virtual currency in games like blackjack, roulette, slots, and poker. It seems that this can be quite a lucrative means of acquiring wealth. GTA Online player shows off blackjack earnings Redditor DaLamb2004 shared their incredible earnings report from betting, showing that they had earned just over $35 million in earnings. Tagging the post “[b]elieve in yourself and always double down in blackjack”, it seems that the implication is that most of these betting earnings came via the blackjack table. The replies of the thread are filled with fellow GTA Online players marveling at the feat, as it’s hard to win consistently enough at blackjack – either in real life or in Los Santos – to turn that sort of a profit. Plenty of players even jokingly discussed how a similar strategy had cost them their precious earnings, such as one commenter who said “[h]ey bro I tried listening and burned through 1 million chips :(“ All those would-be gamblers should take heed of these warnings; winning $35 million is far harder than losing $35 million.

  • Another GTA Online casino lucky wheel glitch guarantees supercar prize – Dexerto

Another GTA Online casino lucky wheel glitch guarantees supercar prize GTA Online players have uncovered a brand new glitch in the game’s Casino that guarantees the featured supercar. After years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally swung open the doors to Grand Theft Auto Online’s casino on July 23 – renaming the North Vinewood location to the Diamond Casino and Resort. While the long-awaited addition added a ton of new content like cars, housing, and clothing, it hasn’t been without its problems. Players have reported issues with the casino’s stability and plenty of exploits that allow them to rack up insane amounts of chips and cash. And still, despite patches from Rockstar, players have noted a fresh method to guarantee an incredibly expensive car. In a discussion on the GTAOnline subreddit, a number of users pointed out that the new ‘four-second method’ on the game’s Lucky Spin Wheel will hand over the showcase car that players see when they walk into the casino. Players would need to have a ‘fresh wheel’ – one that has the clothing reward selected – before trying to spin four seconds after the game prompts them to. Other players also noted that there is no necessary power at which players need to spin, but the method “practically guarantees the podium car” if they flick down quickly on the left stick. While Rockstar moved quickly to quell the recent inside Track exploit, which pretty much allowed players to control the race, the developers have not yet found a way to stop players from taking unlimited spins on said lucky wheel. Whether or not they are actively looking into this new glitch or not is unknown, but it is clearly a method that shouldn’t be in GTA V considering these podium cars are not meant to be easily won. Players who attempt to pull off the strategy should be aware that they could face repercussions in the future if the developers begin clamping down on these exploits.

  • GTA Online’s Casino banned in multiple countries due to gambling laws – Dexerto

GTA Online’s Casino banned in multiple countries due to gambling laws GTA 5’s latest update has been a huge hit with citizens of Los Santos, but some have been left devastated to find they’re banned from playing casino games due to their countries’ gambling laws. It’s a bitter pill to swallow for those that were eagerly anticipating the long awaited GTA Online Casino update. Entering the casino, buying a penthouse, playing missions and everything else that the new update has to offer is fine, yet it’s specifically playing casino games that some players are unable to do. Despite using GTA dollars and not real money – which we’ll come onto in a minute – some governments still consider it gambling. Whether they are right or wrong doesn’t matter as Rockstar are always going to comply with a countries’ laws. Is it really gambling though? That’s a tricky question but in the eyes of the law, yes. GTA money, or dollars, can be directly purchased using real money and not just earned online. This is where it becomes somewhat of a gray area as although the money can’t be converted back into real currency it does have real monetary value. As a result, it can be interpreted as gambling, albeit loosely. Rockstar themselves may not agree with their definition of gambling but are likely taking the precautionary option of banning those countries so it can’t come back on them. As yet, the developers haven’t commented on the issue. List of countries where GTA’s Casino games are banned Here are the full list of countries unable to gamble in GTA 5’s online casino, according to Reddit user SlapshotTommy: Afghanistan – Algeria – American Samoa – Argentina – Azerbaijan – Bahamas – Bhutan – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Belarus – Brunei – Cambodia – Cayman Islands – China – Cuba – Cyprus – Czech Republic – Ecuador – Greece – Iceland – Indonesia – Iran – Iraq – Israel – Jordan – Kuwait – Lebanon – Libya – Liechtenstein – Luxembourg – Maldives – Mali – Mauritania – Malta – Malaysia – North Korea – Oman – Pakistan – Paraguay – Peru – Poland – Portugal – Qatar – Saudi Arabia – Somalia – South Africa – South Korea – Sri Lanka – Sudan – Syria – Taiwan – Thailand – Tuvalu – United Arab Emirates – Vietnam – Venezuela – Is my country banned from GTA Online casino? The above list of countries is not confirmed but if you are receiving the message “This feature is not available for you” when attempting to play casino game, then your country has likely banned you from taking part. It should be noted there are some reports of players receiving this message when in a country where gambling is legal, though. Players have reported that this can be bypassed by a VPN, but it should be noted it would still be illegal to do so if in fact gambling is against your countries’ laws. Unfortunately, some GTA players will have to accept part of the Diamond Casino & Resort update won’t be available for them.

  • GTA Online Casino heist exploit lets you loot vault without timer – Dexerto

GTA Online Casino heist exploit lets you loot vault without timer Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have been running into a helpful glitch that is letting them loot the vault during the Diamond Casino heist without worrying about a timer. [jwplayer M2iRw99J] After years of waiting, Grand Theft Auto Online fans were finally given the chance to bust down the Diamond Casino doors in a huge heist back in December 2019, with gold, art, cash, and even diamonds being available to steal. However, getting in, and sometimes even out of the casino while on the heist has been an issue. Some players have reached the vault and found that there’s nothing inside, or have reached the end of the heist and made absolutely nothing from their cut. Yet, there are glitches that are helpful too – be it having no police chase you on your escape, or being able to get inside the vault without a timer restricting how much you can loot. Players have been running into that latter glitch more often recently, with Reddit user DistressedUnit reporting that they’d experienced the helpful issue as recent as October 26. How it happened for the Redditor, was both themselves and a heist partner tried to activate the drill into the vault at the same time. While their teammate took control of the drill, DistressedUnit was sent through the sidewall of the vault – letting them bypass the drilling stage. Once inside, the Redditor noted that they were locked in place or anything like that. Inside, they were able to run around, hack doors, and start looting before the timer became active. Though, once their teammates busted the vault door down, the timer did come into play. Other players have noted that they’ve been able to replicate a similar glitch, allowing them to loot the vault quite a bit without the timer. Even though it’s a helpful glitch, it’s still an issue for Rockstar and could well be patched in the near future – especially as there is a new heist on the horizon with the impending winter update.

  • GTA Online Casino guide: How to make millions, Lucky Wheel vehicles, tips & tricks – Dexerto

GTA Online Casino guide: How to make millions, Lucky Wheel vehicles, tips & tricks Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s Diamond Casino can be an incredibly lucrative way to earn a lot of money, and we’ve got some tips for players looking to get rich quick. GTA 5’s Cayo Perico Heist has brought even more players back to the crime-infested streets of Los Santos. The latest heist certainly gives players plenty of ways to earn money, but if you’re looking for another way to earn that next paycheck, then you’ll want to head on over to the Diamond Casino. This glitzy gambling parlor offers plenty of mini-games that can be used to boost your in-game cash. Everything from roulette to track horse racing can found inside the Diamond Casino, allowing savvy GTA Online players to make money without having to constantly grind through missions and heists. After all, the game’s Shark Cards can get pretty costly and not everyone will want to spend real money to get that next vehicle or cosmetic item. Fortunately, we’ve rounded some of the best ways you can make more chips without breaking the bank. How to get free GTA Online chips The first time you enter the Diamond Casino, you will be given 5,000 chips after paying the $500 membership fee. If that wasn’t enough, players can also claim 1000 chips every day by heading on over to the Cashier Services booth. This should be enough for you to get gambling on the various games inside the casino. For more information on how you can claim more GTA Online chips, be sure to read our in-depth guide here. GTA Online Inside Track horse racing tips If card games aren’t your forte or you wish to avoid losing money on the casino’s slot machines, then you’ll want to bet big on the Inside Track horse races. Just like real-world track racing, players can bet on a specific horse and watch it compete. The money you bet can be won back and even doubled if the chosen horse wins. Betting on horses with the highest odds may sound like a good idea, but they won’t enable you to win much money. Instead, you’ll want to refresh the menu a few times until you find a race where the odds for horse number one is even and the second horse is at least 5/1. Simply place a maximum bet on the top horse and you’ll often double your money. Of course, this isn’t a guaranteed win every time, so you’ll want to check out our other GTA Online horse racing tips. GTA Online Slot Machines Unlike the other games in GTA Online’s Diamond Casino, the Slot Machines rely purely on luck. There is no grand strategy here, but if you’re low on Chips or simply wish to bet big, then these machines can have decent payouts. Read More: GTA Online update patch notes – We recommend using the Deity of the Sun machines as these give the highest payouts, so pop a few chips in and hope you win big. All you need to do is match three symbols or one or two Ankhs to receive a prize. While there may not be any secret methods that will have you winning every time, you can get lucky provided you only spend a small amount. The 98.7% payout may seem decent, but the longer you play, the more likely you are to lose the money you have acquired. After all, knowing when to stop is the true key to winning it big in GTA’s Diamond Casino. GTA Online Lucky Wheel rewards GTA Online’s Diamond Casino new Lucky Wheel prize is the Paragon R sportscar. This incredibly fast sports car is worth a staggering $905,000, but you could grab it for free if you take the game’s Lucky Wheel for a spin. The description for the Paragon R Sportscar can be read below: “This is it. Wrap it up, folks. Thanks to Enus, humanity’s quest to design the perfect grand tourer is finally over. It took generations of privately educated stiff upper lips, all prepared to dig deep into bottomless wells of lazy entitlement – but credit where it’s due. The Brits cracked the code. This is the kind of self-assurance that can’t be earned. It can only be bought.“ Read More: Best GTA 5 mods to download – Even if you don’t end up winning the Paragon R sportscar, you could net yourself some new clothes, RP, or extra cash in the process. • Strange GTA Online casino bug makes sure players can never escape – Dexerto

Strange GTA Online casino bug makes sure players can never escape Rockstar GamesChilling in Los Santos’ stunning Diamond Casino in GTA Online might seem like a good idea at first, but there’s a new bug in town that means players can never leave home of all things vice. As the hype around GTA 6 continues to grow after an E3 Twitter comment implied that the highly anticipated sequel’s trailer will finally be revealed at their event, people have been taking to the streets of Los Santos in droves. One of the most popular haunts in the game is the casino, especially in the ever-popular GTA RP NoPixel server. We’ve seen thousands of influencers grace its halls, with popular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar even getting his hilarious just deserts for skipping the queue at the Lucky Wheel. For many, the casino has become a home away from home. Luckily, there’s a new bug in town that means that the party never needs to stop. GTA Online Casino bug A bug has surfaced on the GTA Online subreddit that shows players being trapped inside of the casino with no hope of escape. One player is seen traversing a completely empty casino, and they logically assume that the building appears to be shut. Read More: Best GTA Online weapons – However, in the blink of an eye, the floodgates open and crowds of local GTA NPCs flood the room. The issue is, though, that the player gets caught between three people having a conversation. Stuck in some twisted version of the Bermuda Triangle, they try to break free but, alas, they cannot. The casino appears to have claimed an unwilling victim. Fans automatically began to troll the unfortunate victim, writing that they “have been condemned to socialize” and that they “earned this reward,” mimicking the tannoy announcement towards the end of the clip. Others have claimed that this was a “rookie move,” and that it’s best that you “don’t start walking toward the crowd until you can see all the NPC’s.” Either way, the bug’s pretty hilarious – unless you get caught. It’s worth using your phone to activate a heist and teleport right out of there, otherwise, you’ll be trapped forever.

  • GTA Online Career Builder: Best choices to make money fast – Dexerto

GTA Online Career Builder: Best choices to make money fast Rockstar GamesIf you’re new to GTA Online or want to switch things up from your old account, then you can use the Career Builder feature to start fresh. So, here’s what you need to know about it. The world of Grand Theft Auto Online has seen a massive shake-up in recent weeks, with Rockstar Games finally dropping the next-gen version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles. On top of the game just running smoother and looking better than ever, there are a handful of new jobs and bits of content for players – both new and old – to get their teeth sunk right into. When it comes to new players – or those that just want a fresh start – Rockstar have also introduced the Career Builder feature, which allows you to start building your criminal empire in Los Santos. As we know, it’s all about the money in GTA Online, and there are ways to make some cash fast with the new feature. Best GTA Online business to select in Career Builder Once you dive into GTA Online for the first time on next-gen, you will be given the option to access the Career Builder. This new feature grants you $4,000,000 of in-game cash to put towards your criminal career path. If you just want to focus on making cash, the best option to go with is the Gunrunning business. Simply, this path makes enough money passively and you don’t have to keep it constantly ticking over like with Nightclub ownership, Motorcycle Club, or CEO. Once you’ve selected the Gunrunning business, you can cut a few corners on cost. For example, it is best to buy the bunker located in Chumash, because it’s cheap and in a solid location. Then, purchase the Bunker Upgrade Pack A. Together, this will cost just a touch over $3,000,000. So, you’ll have some cash to play with. After starting the Career Builder path, select Gunrunner – Purchase the Chumash Bunker – price tag of: $1,650,000 – Select Bunker Upgrade Pack A – price tag of: $1,420,000 – Best car to buy in GTA Online Career Builder With just less than $1,000,000 in your back pocket, you’ll also want to pick out a nice car and weapons to keep you safe while getting around Los Santos. Of course, you could easily splurge on either the Ocelot Penetrator or Infernus Classic, given that these are pretty rapid. You could also go with the Armored Kuruma as a means of protection, but as YouTuber GTAMen suggests, it’s the Grotti Turismo Classic that you want. Why? Well, if you purchase that and then the Los Santos Car Meet membership – $50,000 – you can grab a fee upgrade for the car through Hao’s Special Works. In turn, this can then be used to easily complete races and Time Trials, earning you even more cash in-game. Best ways to make money with Gunrunning in GTA Online Once you’ve got your business off the ground with these options, you will need to start completing the Gunrunning missions to make some serious cash. That means you have to put your bunker into manufacturing mode and let it build some supplies. If you wait at least two hours of playtime, you’re set to make around $500,000 from the gunrunning missions – where you have to avoid enemies and drop your supplies off at the marked location. Other ways to make fast money in GTA Online Given a few days of solid playtime, you should have a decent enough bit of cash in your pocket to expand out your criminal empire. You can open up an Arcade – which will also give you access to the Diamond Casino Heist – start a Motorcycle Club, takeover a Nightclub, and even become a CEO. Read More: How to buy ammo in GTA 5 & GTA Online – All of these options have their own unique bonuses, as noted with the Arcade having a path to a multi-million dollar heist, but you don’t have to purchase any of them either. You can make money in GTA Online in plenty of different ways, but ultimately, it’s a bit of a grind to get on top. So, be prepared to work hard if you want to ultimately have enough cash to take on the Cayo Perico heist and whatever else Rockstar might be planning for future updates.

  • GTA Online players convinced some car gearboxes are now breaking – Dexerto

GTA Online players convinced some car gearboxes are now breaking Take-Two InteractiveGTA Online’s Advanced Handling Flags have some players wondering whether gearboxes for in-game cars are breaking down. Rockstar rolled out Advanced Handling Flags with the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update in early 2018. The changes weren’t retrofitted to older vehicles and, thus, only affected newer cars in GTA Online. Players weren’t pleased once they got their hands on the update. For a time, many of the newer cars suffered from engine troubles. Issues with bouncy suspension arose later, making driving certain vehicles an unpredictable and vexing affair. Petitions to have the feature removed didn’t succeed as many would have hoped. Though Rockstar has improved the system over time, players continue to encounter lingering issues. GTA Online’s Advanced Handling Flags are still a problem Redditor Tattendaal edited a video featuring examples of GTA Online cars making “infuriating popping sound[s].” The player assumed it may have been a case of broken gearboxes. Other users shared a different diagnosis, however. One Reddit user identified two flags causing problems in the video, “one that allows the car to shift late, and one that overrevs the engine.” The combined efforts of these flags cause the car to shift before hitting the rev limiter, thus resulting in the popping and crackling. Another person added that this particular Advanced Handling Flags problem is fairly new to GTA Online. It’s presently unclear if the crew at Rockstar Games is aware of the trouble and intends to roll out a solution. Since GTA Online’s launch, Rockstar has often found new ways of improving the core driving experience. But it appears that some changes ultimately weren’t for the best.

  • GTA Online bug is completely changing Diamond Heist approaches – Dexerto

GTA Online bug is completely changing Diamond Heist approaches Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have been encountering a strange bug that is changing up their Diamond Heist attempts – altering their entry position and how the robbery plays out. After years of waiting, GTA Online fans finally got what they’d been asking for on December 12, access to the Casino in Vinewood. Aside from gambling away with their GTA Cash, players also wanted to take things a step further by being able to loot the casino’s vault. As a result, the Diamond Heist was launched, letting players go on an Ocean’s Eleven style robbery – complete with different vault contents, robbery disguises, and getaway vehicles. Players can choose whether to go in loud, sneakily, or pull of a con – but the latter is being affected by a bug. The change in entry point was noted by Reddit user Finnman0907, who showcased a video from their recent Diamond Heist attempt. They rolled up to the Casino as a part of the Bugstars con but managed to set off the guard at the back door. The gang sort of blew their cover, attacking the security guard and causing their entry to bug out. Though, after a pretty long loading screen, they had been transported elsewhere. Instead of entering the casino through the Staff Lobby, they were dropped where the Gruppe Sachs con would begin – with the armored money truck thrown in for good measure. After showing off the video, some Redditor’s responded and claimed that the bug had actually helped Finnman0907, as they were able to do the heist through an easier method. Others noted that the bug has been around for a little while and you will always end up with the Gruppe Sachs robbery. Yet, your cover will be blown once you’ve robbed the contents of the vault. Whether or not Rockstar will fix it, however, remains to be seen but players won’t complain about an easier heist. It means money at the end of the day.

  • GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties: All new weapons – Dexerto

GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties: All new weapons Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s Bottom Dollar Bounties update is bringing at least one new weapon to the game, and it’s something that players haven’t seen the likes of before. Even though a lot of Rockstar Games’ focus might be on GTA 6, the iconic game developers have not put GTA Online on the shelf. Instead, the multiplayer side of Grand Theft Auto 5 has gotten a brand-new update in the form of Bottom Dollar Bounties. The new update, which is the highlight of many GTA Online players’ summers, is focused on the Bounty Hunting business. You can take over the Bottom Dollar Bail Office – well, for a few million dollars anyway – and start acting out your Dog the Bounty Hunter fantasies. On top of the new business and influx of new jobs, Rockstar have also added a handful of new cars to the game as well – including some police-themed vehicles and a fresh supercar. However, if you’ve got you’re expecting new weapons, then you’ll probably have to wait just a little bit longer. GTA leakers MorsMutual and PLTytus have revealed that there will be a new Stun Rod melee weapon. As noted, the Stun Rod has yet to go live in-game, but should be available from Amm-U-Nation or the Gun Van once it does. We’ve seen newer guns go into the Gun Van first, so you’ll have to check the new location of that every day. On top of that, there will be a Bottom Dollar Bounties skin for the Stun Gun to grab as well. The Stun Gun has been around for a while, so many players will have owned it for some time anyway. It’s possible that Rockstar adds other weapons via a further bit of drip-feed too, just as they do with weapons, as we’ve seen guns like the Service Rifle be added to the mix a long way after updates have gone live. There is a pistol, which looks similar to the 44 Pistol, in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update art, so that could be the answer for another.

  • GTA Online Blimp rework would have players spending millions on it – Dexerto

GTA Online Blimp rework would have players spending millions on it Rockstar GamesAn idea is floating around the GTA Online community of bringing gigantic, luxury blimps to Los Santos, which would give people an entirely new way of passing the time in the game. As it stands, blimps aren’t the most exciting thing in GTAO. Buying one should set you back about $1.2 mil or so, and you only have a few variants to mix up the look. While that’s fine, some people think that there’s a missed opportunity here for luxury living, seeing as people can explore the depths of the waters in style or function with the yacht and submarines. This gave user ‘GorgonAintThatBad’ an idea for Rockstar to expand its airbus selection with luxury blimps that could be, sort of, like a hub in the sky – and a much cooler way of navigating the GTA Online playground. While someone noted that a ‘rigid airship’ might be the more appropriate term, the features of this thing would be unlike anything GTA players have tried out so far. The user posted an image of a concept ship by ‘Dassault,’ which is pretty intricate in its own right. While the concept shows a ship with two lavish pools where dozens of people can gather with loads of carrying space underneath, something more streamlined could work for GTAO. People were already thinking of the kinds of heists or missions that would take place on an evil mastermind’s airship like this. But more than anything, GTA Online players would want to get one for themselves. Given the prices we see for the fastest supercars already, GTAO players are already thinking up how expensive something like this would be. “Would be priced at 12,000,000 (base price). Would cost a further 12,000,000 for a full upgrade. Would cost 50,000 to move it from place to place. Would cost 25,000 per day in maintenance costs. Would be an absolute waste of money. Would probably still buy it as well tbh,” user Qwertyuiop4325 joked. Even more so, this could be a safe haven for people trying to get away from Oppressor MK2 trolls that have been plaguing the airspace. Regardless, there’s plenty of potential here with luxurious airshiops in GTA Online, and here’s hoping Rockstar actually moves on something like that.

[jwplayer M2iRw99J] GTA Online’s weekly updates are always something to look forward to for fans, as Rockstar Games rolls out some bonuses so that players can build up their Maze Bank accounts. The bonuses, both for cash and RP, are the big attention grabbers from the updates, but the sales that Rockstar also drops are nothing to be ignored either. • GTA Online player finally saves up $1 billion after 18,000 hours of playing – Dexerto

GTA Online player finally saves up $1 billion after 18,000 hours of playing Take-Two InteractiveA GTA Online user played the popular multiplayer game for 18,000 hours – just enough time to accrue over $1 billion of in-game currency. Grand Theft Auto Online rewards cash payouts for many in-game activities. Selling cars, taking on jobs, and participating in premium races serve as but a few examples of easy ways to earn money. Of course, players can also perform Heists or stick up a number of in-game stores for relatively quick results, too. But saving earned money isn’t always simple, particularly for players who want to indulge in all the things Los Santos has on offer. Still, someone’s found a way to take advantage of a few quirks and bring in the big bucks. GTA Online players accrues $1 billion after two years of playtime Reddit user jamcar70 recently shared a screenshot of Grand Theft Auto Online, showcasing how they finally saved up $1 billion in-game. Jamcar70 accomplished this astounding feat after playing the multiplayer title for well over two years, which amounts to approximately 18,000 hours of playtime. At the time of writing, the above Reddit post has more than 1,000 likes. And many users in the comments can’t help but question how the math worked out for playing one game across 18,000 hours. In a subsequent response, Jamcar70 explained that his $1 billion earnings in GTA Online came courtesy of “AFK on security cams to max nightclub earn.” AFK farming in GTA Online has long been a tactic used to rake in a solid amount of passive income. Evidently, such tactics worked wonders for this particular player. Still, 18,000 hours over the course of two-plus years is a long time to keep the game running, even in lower power modes.

GTA Online: Best properties to buy with your casino winnings Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto Online players have a brand new Diamond Casino and Resort at their disposal and with the potential of some big money to be won at the tables, let’s take a look at the best properties you could splash your cash on. The brand new online casino was opened by Rockstar Games on July 23, bringing a wide selection of fun new games to the title’s online experience. Slot machines and poker tables make up just a fraction of the new features on offer at the new point of interest, but if you happen to fall into a decent amount of money and fancy living the life of luxury in GTA Online, knowing what are the best properties to purchase will help you along the way. It’s clear to see that the arrival of the casino will have attracted not just seasoned veterans of the popular video game, but also marked the return of players who perhaps haven’t played the game for quite some time. With an endless selection of purchasable places now available to buy right from your in-game phone, let’s take a look at some of the best prosperities where you’ll be sure to see a return on your investment and maintain that high roller status. Large houses and apartments If you really want to be taken seriously by other people in Grand Theft Auto V Online, you’re going to have to make the right impression when you take them to your home. After all, this is the place where plans can be drawn up for some missions. The beauty about the large apartments and houses is that not only do they include, in many cases, 10 car garages for you to store some of your best vehicles, but also open up the opportunity of setting up heists. Many will now be aware of just how lucrative heists can be in-game, but for those who don’t, these four-player jobs can pay out between $57,000 to $1.25 million, depending on which one you pick, as well as their difficulty. Regardless, owning a home of this size opens those doors for you and your team. You could see a return on your investment in no time. Motorcycle Clubhouse Even if you don’t fancy yourself as the type of character that engages with bikers, buying a motorcycle club with your casino winnings – or even saved up cash – is definitely a sound purchase to make. Owning this property opens up the opportunity to spawn free motorcycles at your disposal without cool down, and even the chance to set up a number of group missions for the business – some of which can take up to 15 minutes to complete and return around $25,000 per person. You can also purchase upgrades for your Motorcycle Clubhouse, which will unlock even greater prize pools for completing missions. Casino Penthouses With the grand opening of the Diamond Casino and Resort came the introduction of brand new properties that are built inside the casino itself. While many players might have snapped up the incredible deal Rockstar Games handed to Twitch Prime users and picked up a Diamond Penthouse for free as part of that limited time offer, there’s no doubt that owning one is definitely a wise investment to make due to the easy access to the money making machines in the casino. You can pick up penthouses at the Diamond Resort for between $1 million and just over $6.5 million, with the option to customize your own. Major business offices Being named a CEO in GTA Online might be a cool feature, but all of the perks that come with owning one of the game’s major office blocks is the real draw for players. While it might take you a good few missions to be swimming in cash like the guy on the screenshot above, there’s no doubt that you will be well on your way to making some big bucks as the leader of a huge business online. This enables you to take on a number of business exclusive missions, hire and fire executives as you please, and work with others to potentially make millions in the process. It’s estimated that players could make up to £125,000 per hour just by doing these CEO related tasks alone – which shows the scale of this type of operation. From here, you can start to buy bunkers, mobile operations centers, and really start to expand your impact in the online world. GTA Arena Workshop This property can be purchased on the Arena War website and was added as part of the Arena War update back in December, 2018. It might not be a huge money maker like some of the others on our list, but the range of options that owning something of this size makes it a desirable addition for any GTA Online player. The property holds up to 30 vehicles and opens up a whole new side of the game at the Maze Bank arena location. The missions you will unlock are very different to anything else in the online version of GTA, too, locking horns with other upgraded and kitted out vehicles, with a lot of money at stake. Vehicle Warehouses Finally, if you come into a big chunk of money in GTA 5, it’s worth buying a vehicle warehouse for both storage, and for the incredibly lucrative Special Vehicle Work missions that can be completed after buying one. While they might have an annoying five minute cool down period after finishing one of these tasks, much like the CEO businesses, players can make up to $25,000 per special mission. If you’re looking for a space that can hold up to 40 cars and solidify yourself as a major player in GTA Online, this is an ideal purchase for you. They can be bought using the SecuroServ Network in-game and can cost between $1.5-$2.7 million. It might seem a lot at the start, but if you’ve had some big wins at the casino, this – as well as all of the other properties on this list – will leave your character set for life.

  • GTA Online ban wave rumors spread following Los Santos Tuners update – Dexerto

GTA Online ban wave rumors spread following Los Santos Tuners update Rockstar GamesThe GTA Online community has been cautious of a potential ban wave from Rockstar as rumors spread following the recently released Los Santos Tuners update. Rockstar have introduced the next digital instalment of their racing-inspired summer content haul, and there’s plenty of content for GTA players to explore. But with the newly implemented changes, there’s been word of a possible ban wave coming to the game. Rumors have been spreading as more TikTok videos are going up with players ‘preparing’ for what they believe to be an imminent purge of players who’ve either used glitches or exploits in the past. There’s plenty of people making highlight videos or clips that show them reminiscing before the alleged ‘ban wave.’ “Saying goodbye to my GTA account before tomorrow’s ban wave,” one video says. So far there hasn’t been any word from Rockstar about cleaning up their servers from potential cheaters, exploiters, etc. While there’s many instances of players getting punished for abusing cheats and the like, it’s unknown why a ban wave is expected in the first place. Still, that didn’t stop people from talking about the alleged ban wave as if it were happening, leading some people to either worry or look forward to the event. The GTA devs have famously implemented ban waves in the past. Last year, hackers abusing a God-mode toggle and money making cheat were ousted from the servers. Earlier that year, even if someone exploited a money-making glitch, the user’s account was simply wiped instead of being banned. In either case, GTA Online players are still looking out for a potential ban wave, though no signs have appeared as of yet.

  • GTA Online August 15 update patch notes: New cars, cash bonuses, Twitch Prime and more – Dexerto

  • GTA Online Aug 2 update patch notes: New podium vehicles, prize rides & bug fixes – Dexerto

  • GTA Online Aug 16 update patch notes: Buried Stashes fix, 4 dupe glitches patched – Dexerto

GTA Online Aug 16 update patch notes: Buried Stashes fix, 4 dupe glitches patched Rockstar GamesGTA Online has released a background update on August 16, addressing several in-game glitches. While Rockstar has not officially released any patch notes, the details have surfaced online. Updates have already been released for GTA Online during August, including a secret refresh on August 11 addressing content from the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack. While many of these patches are beneficial and create a better gameplay experience, other repairs nerf exploits players use to progress in the game. Below, we have a list of all the changes that have been found in the update, and how glitch fixes may impact the game for certain players. GTA Online Aug 16 background update: patch notes According to GTA Online info watcher TezFunz2 on Twitter, the majority of the silent update focuses on four big exploits, including a semi god-mode glitch and a solo gold glitch for the Cayo Perico Heist. Below are all notable changes made in the update: An issue with Buried Stashes not updating daily on PC version Patched – Semi God Mode glitch involving Body Armor – Another Solo Gold glitch for Cayo Perico Heist – Auto Shop dupe glitch – MOC dupe glitch – The solo gold glitch repair is particularly funny to see in another round of patches, as the first glitch was supposed to have been addressed already in the August 11 patch. This break allows players to go through the floor into the basement without any work beyond setting up the glitch. Seeing a second rendition in the unofficial patch notes indicates players are still trying to find workarounds. Auto Shop dupe and MOC dupe glitches were also addressed in the update. Auto Shop Dupe glitches have been common in GTA Online, and allow players to duplicate existing vehicles. While this may be beneficial for the player, it is technically a break in the game, and it is good to see Rockstar repairing the problems. One of the most notable and beneficial fixes in the patch remedies an issue with PC version Buried Stashes not updating. While there aren’t any details in Tez2’s post, it is likely the Buried Stashes should work as intended for PC players from this point forward. Hopefully the changes made in the silent update will keep GTA Online gameplay running smoothly, even if a few exploits are no longer accessible.

  • GTA Online Arcade feature secretly removed in next-gen update – Dexerto

GTA Online Arcade feature secretly removed in next-gen update Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has quietly removed a feature from GTA Online’s Arcade office with the next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developers made a number of changes to the game with the E&E update, including fresh visuals, new vehicles, faster load times, and the addition of Hao’s Special Works. After jumping over some hurdles to transfer save progress, players have been hunting down some of the things that have been tweaked without being stated in the patch notes. On April 5, another removed feature was unearthed. GTA Online Arcade feature missing after GTA 5 update Over on Reddit, one user by the name of JayProspero posted: “Did anyone else notice Rockstar removed this toy from E&E?” A number of action figure toys have been included in various GTA 5 challenges since the game was released, though this toy is actually just a prop for the room’s interior. Captain Spacetoy Interstellar, which used to have interchangeable body parts and bright pink attire, has been replaced by a black-suited character. One player replied: “I don’t know if I should be confused at Rockstar for removing this or if I should be confused at you for noticing.” A second comment said: “I will never look at my office the same way.” Another joked: “That’s it. I’m canceling my Plus subscription. I’ve had it. Enough.” As the change was not officially documented in the next-gen update patch notes, the reason behind the decision has not been made public. While the Grand Theft Auto series has always been edgy in its nature, there is a chance that the toy may cause offense to some players due to its nature.

  • GTA Online apartment exploit patched but players have found a workaround – Dexerto

GTA Online apartment exploit patched but players have found a workaround Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto Online player has found a workaround for the recently patched apartment duplication glitch, though, the steps are pretty extensive. While the majority of GTA Online players are grinders – completing missions, playing for hours on end, and taking advantage of all the double money rewards – some players do decide to bend the rules by using glitches and exploits. This can go as far as using God Mode hacks to troll a session or just duplicating items – be it money, casino chips, or even cars. For money, in the past, has come through the apartment transfer glitch but a recent background update from Rockstar got rid of it. However, some players have already put their heads together and figured out a way to get around it, opening up the possibility of duplicating money through different apartments once again. The lengthy workaround was pointed out by Claw 7K, who noted that what they’d found was working for PlayStation 4 users, but there were other methods for PC and Xbox users might be on the outside looking in. Compared to the four or five steps of the previous workarounds, the YouTuber had fifteen steps to follow with a lot of it centering around dropping into story mode, pausing the application, and following some patterns with pressing certain buttons on the controllers. The GTA Online fan also noted that it was a “semi-solo” method as you only need to join one random player during one of the steps. Some players noted that it also worked on PC and ended up rewarding them with around $3,000,000 each time. Though, as the Rockstar servers took a little bit of a dip on July 17, they were prevented from testing it any further. Rockstar has been sniffing out these workarounds and exploits with small updates to GTA Online, but there is no way of telling if this one will hang around or if they’ll patch it soon enough with a ban wave like the Casino Chip glitch.

Cashiers will allow you to change in-game currency to chips at a rate of one to one and while a few ways to get more chips have already been revealed, one of the easiest is to find a number of hidden casino playing cards in the online mode. The latest podium car featured in the casino is the Enus Windsor Drop which was made available on June 24. • GTA Online Alien War: players disappointed by “overhyped” final fight – Dexerto

GTA Online Alien War: players disappointed by “overhyped” final fight Respawn/EAGTA Online’s crazy green vs purple Alien war was meant to reach an epic conclusion on May 15, yet, players were left frustrated by fewer people turning up than planned as well as some not bothering to follow the rules. For a few weeks, the virtual streets of Los Santos had become a playground for GTA Online players who have pleaded their allegiances in the Alien war. Players had been donning green and purple alien suits, teaming up with friends and random players while fighting the other side. The player-led story has led to some hilarious moments across GTA Online, however, it couldn’t go on forever. So, the two sides decided to call an end to the bloodshed with one epic final battle centered around Los Santos International Airport. While the all-out war was supposed to reach an epic conclusion on Saturday, May 15 at 8 PM EDT (1 AM BST/5 PM PDT/2 AM CET) players were left disappointed after bouncing from lobby to lobby in the hopes of finding a fight. While many players were able to get involved with a braw of some kind at the airport, it wasn’t exactly the blockbuster finish that everyone had been expecting. Reddit user InsecureTurdPilot noted that their fight started out as melee-only until players started bringing out the heavy machinery in the form of vehicles with weapons attached. Others complained that with Rockstar giving away the alien suits for free killed part of the hype for the fights. Comment byu/RangersFan243 from discussion inGreenVSPurple Now, with this being a player-led event, problems probably should have been expected from the start – especially getting everyone organized across numerous lobbies and platforms. What players will decide to do in place of the alien war, however, remains to be seen. Rockstar are rumored to be launching their popular Cops N Crooks mode in the future, and that could lead to even more hijinx.

  • GTA Online accounts getting wiped for abusing garage money glitch – Dexerto

GTA Online accounts getting wiped for abusing garage money glitch Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto Online players have had their accounts completely reset back to day one by Rockstar after a ban wave from the recent garage glitch. Over the years, GTA Online has had its fair share of glitches and exploits that players have used to cut through some of the monotony of grinding out jobs, stealing and selling cars, as well as hoping to score big at the Casino. Recently, players had been glitches surrounding apartments and garages to make eye-watering sums of money. Some, who had used the apartment glitch, claimed that they’d been rest – while others carried on without repercussions. However, it appears as if Rockstar games have actually come down heavy-handed on everyone using the glitch by not only taking away their glitched money, but also wiping their accounts back to the very start. Rockstar rolls out money glitch reset wave In the late hours of August 27, some players noted that they had received emails from Rockstar about their GTA Online accounts – with the message notifying them of a reset. Usually when these ban or reset waves are sent out, players just lose any leftover money they had in the Maze Bank account. However, the devs completely wiped their account of everything – be it money, vehicles, progress in level, and anything else. It doesn’t appear to matter if you glitched a $10,000,000 or $500,000,000 from the glitch, anyone who has used it is apparently being punished. It appears to be a complete character wipe, all progress, money and everything.#GTAOnline — Tez2 (@TezFunz2) August 27, 2020 Unlike the Casino chip glitch, these accounts have not been banned from GTA Online, but given that some seven-year-old accounts are back at level one, some players are claiming they won’t play again until GTA 6 releases. “It seems Rockstar decided its easier to patch the glitchers than the glitches,” quipped MoneyAddition. Another player, SpindlySquash, added: “They do nothing about the hackers who’ve ruined the game on a daily basis for years, meanwhile…” Whether or not this has major implications on the GTA Online economy remains to be seen, but it appears as if a large portion of players won’t be returning to Los Santos.

  • GTA Online: 22 new vehicles leaked for Diamond Casino – Dexerto

GTA Online: 22 new vehicles leaked for Diamond Casino Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s brand new Diamond Casino and Resort is set to add 22 vehicles to the GTA V multiplayer mode if a new leak is to be believed. • GTA Online: 20 new vehicles leaked in Diamond Heist update – Dexerto

GTA Online: 20 new vehicles leaked in Diamond Heist update GTA Online players will soon be able to get their hands on 20 new vehicles thanks to Diamond Heist update, if new leaked images are to be believed. Grand Theft Auto V’s online portion has been going strong ever since the game released back in 2013. A steady flow of updates has kept players engaged with the multiplayer side of things – with plenty jumping back in with the Diamond Casino update back in July. Since that point, players have been wondering as to whether or not they’d actually be able to raid the Casino vault and get their hands on some huge cash with a heist. That dream became a reality thanks to the Diamond Heist update on December 12. Yet, what good is all that money if you don’t have anything to spend it on? Well, according to prominent GTA leaker FoxySnaps, there will be 20 new vehicles for players to open up their wallets for. Of course, one of the leaks that has drawn the most attention from fans is the Formula 1 inspired race car – but there are plenty more to choose from as well. In fact, there is a second a racing car in the leaks, simply labeled as Formula 2. It has a different designed that the Formula vehicle that has already surfaced, so players will have a choice on which one they want to choose. If you don’t want to blow all your cash on the super racing cars, don’t fret, as there appears to be a decent selection to choose from – depending on your style and budget. The leaker was also able to get their hands on the release schedule for the vehicles, as well as their respective prices. The dates of when the vehicles will be released are unknown but you’ll just have to keep your eyes locked to San Andreas Super Autos, Warstock, and Legendary Motorsport websites in-game. 🔒IN-GAME #GTAOnline SCREENS CONFIRM UNRELEASED LGM #CasinoHeistDLC VEHICLE PRICES & RELEASE ORDER#casino #heist #gta #gtav #gta5 #GTAVOnline pic.twitter.com/3QWOfMTKNH — FoxySnaps🦊 (@FoxySnaps) December 12, 2019 🔒IN-GAME #GTAOnline SCREENS CONFIRMED UNRELEASED SSASA #CasinoHeistDLC VEHICLE PRICES & RELEASE ORDER#casino #heist #gta #gtav #gta5 #GTAVOnline pic.twitter.com/grffWN44eg — FoxySnaps🦊 (@FoxySnaps) December 12, 2019 🔒IN-GAME #GTAOnline SCREENS CONFIRMED UNRELEASED WARSTOCK #CasinoHeistDLC VEHICLE PRICES & RELEASE ORDER#casino #heist #gta #gtav #gta5 #GTAVOnline pic.twitter.com/igMj5XtIQP — FoxySnaps🦊 (@FoxySnaps) December 12, 2019 For now though, it’s time to gather up a crew so you can bust into the casino and get your hands on the untold riches that await you behind the vault door. • GTA Online: 13 new vehicles leaked in Cayo Perico Heist update – Dexerto

GTA Online: 13 new vehicles leaked in Cayo Perico Heist update Rockstar GamesGTA Online players will soon be able to get their hands on a host of new vehicles thanks to the Cayo Perico Heist update, with leaked images revealing some long-awaited cars. Adding new vehicles, weapons, and clothes are a staple of every major update in Grand Theft Auto Online and that’s no different in the Cayo Perico Heist update. The new update, which is the long-awaited annual winter patch, gives players the chance to tackle a new heist and get their hands on new vehicles. But, Rockstar have only added nine on release day – much to the dismay of some GTA Online players. However, leakers have revealed that more vehicles will be released over time, and some have even gone as far as revealing what they believe the schedule will be. According to reliable Grand Theft Auto leaker FoxySnaps, there are 13 additional vehicles to those that have already been released in the Cayo Perico update. This includes one for the Legendary Motorsport’s – a supercar known as the ITALIRSX – another five for Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and seven from the Warstock Cache and Carry. The latter of which will include a mini-submarine, another boat, and a helicopter. First looks at all these can be found below, so make sure to have a flick through and see which ones you might want to buy. As for when they’ll be released, we’ve already noted that they’ll come on a drip feed system, so the weekly updates should make them available over time. • GTA moon mystery debunked by developer after 13 years – Dexerto

GTA moon mystery debunked by developer after 13 years Twitter: Obbe VermeijAn old Rockstar developer has drawn the view back on a GTA mystery that has been circulating for over a decade. When it comes to the video game industry, one of the most dedicated fan bases is the GTA audience. Each and every new GTA that is released brings about major Easter eggs, hidden details, and more for players to find. Some of these discoveries take place over a decade since the latest title came out or even from much older entries in the franchise. While many are focused solely on discovering all they can about GTA 6 ahead of its release, others are still looking back on the franchise to discover what they can. The new GTA discovery is one such find, one old Rockstar developer sharing on social media a new Easter egg from all the way back to GTA III. The dev took to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the hidden secret online. In the post, Obbe Vermeij, who worked on the likes of GTA III, San Andreas and more, admitted that, “The artists gave me a texture for the moon in GTA3. I placed the moon in the sky, made sure it was visible at night and that it was a reasonable size.” “A few days later 4 artists were at my desk asking me to change the size of the moon,” Vermeij continued. “It turned out they couldn’t decide what the size of the moon should be. Two of them wanted it smaller to be more realistic. The other two wanted it larger to be more cinematic.” “This went on a bit and I suggested making the size of the moon changeable in the game. This way they could decide in their own time and let me know the conclusion. Since I was working on the sniper rifle, I made it so that the moon toggled through 3 sizes (small, medium, large) as the player sniped it.” The former Rockstar dev finally admitted, “the artists never got back to me so I just left it in. It was still there in SA.”

  • GTA modders spark controversy after adding OceanGate Titan submarine to game – Dexerto

GTA modders spark controversy after adding OceanGate Titan submarine to game GTA fans have sparked controversy after modders added the OceanGate Titan submarine to the game within hours after the catastrophic event. The OceanGate Titan submarine went missing on June 18 after losing communications during its descent to the Titanic wreckage. After days of searching for the missing OceanGate Titan, the US Coast Guard announced on June 22 that the submarine suffered a “catastrophic implosion”, which instantly killed all five passengers on board. Within hours of the announcement from US officials, GTA fans created a mod replicating the submarine — which even explodes at a certain depth in the sea, sparking outrage within the community. GTA fans spark outrage with OceanGate Titan submarine mod A tweet on June 22 by a GTA fan account that goes by the name ‘Mors Mutual Insurance’ — a reference to the actual in-game insurance company — revealed how modders have already recreated the OceanGate Titan submarine on GTA. It’s fair to say the tweet, which over a million users have seen so far, sparked anger amongst the GTA community, with many putting the modders on blast for acting too soon. “This is crazy. Too soon man!” one user wrote. “Damn, way too quick my brother,” said another. Several more quote retweeted, hitting out at how “highly inappropriate” the fans’ actions are. YouTuber ToastedShoes, known for his videos covering bizarre mods across a variety of games, claimed that not even he would make the mod. “Not even I would make this a mod,” he wrote. “Highly inappropriate for 5 people who literally died,” another quote retweeted. “Y’all are f**king evil bruh,” a third added. • GTA modder shows how awesome GTA Remastered Trilogy could look – Dexerto

GTA modder shows how awesome GTA Remastered Trilogy could look Rockstar Games, Hossein DibaGrand Theft Auto fans were overjoyed to learn of the upcoming remastered trilogy. Now, a GTA modder has provided a glimpse into what these new versions could look like. Rockstar Games are in a unique chapter of their career. Since the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2013, they’ve been enjoying the gigantic revenue stream that is GTA Online, even though many fans just want to play GTA 6. The release of Red Dead Redemption 2 was another massive success too, but now they’re returning to working on something Grand Theft Auto-related. Grand Theft Auto 3 is due to celebrate its 20th anniversary on October 22 and to mark the occasion, it appears as if a Remastered Trilogy will finally be released for the modern-day consoles. Updated GTA 3 looks truly awesome The news of the upcoming remastered trilogy hasn’t been confirmed by Rockstar as of yet. However, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive let slip they are working on “iterations of previously released titles.” Reportedly rebuilt using the Unreal engine, fans are curious to see just what the original era trilogy will look like with modern technology. GTA modder ‘just Gesha’ has provided a glimpse into what they might be able to expect. When it comes to GTA mods, there is a huge library of assortments to choose from. While most of them tend to go in for ultra-realistic fidelity (with plenty of rain puddles to drive through), Gesha’s approach to Grand Theft Auto 3 feels respectful of the franchise’s heritage and impressive at the same time. Using an assortment of high-resolution texture packs, lighting adjustments, and various other tweaks, these collective mods give Liberty City a makeover that doesn’t seem alienating. We specifically appreciate the addition of interiors to numerous locations across the city. Using a GTA San Andreas style approach, players can venture into previously accessible or new areas without the obstruction of a fixed perspective camera. If you ever really wondered what the bathroom in Belleville Park looked like, now is the time to find out. Vehicles have also received improvements. Looking sharper than ever, high-speed getaways are now as fun as they’ve ever been. Like many fans across the world, we are desperate for a release date but, for now, everyone will just have to keep waiting.

  • GTA insider reveals alleged GTA 4 remaster details: Platforms, frame rate, more – Dexerto

GTA insider reveals alleged GTA 4 remaster details: Platforms, frame rate, more Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto leaker may have revealed some of the finer details surrounding the long-rumored GTA 4 remaster including the available platforms and more. Rumors surrounding a potential GTA 4 remaster have been swirling since Grovestreet Games and Rockstar Games put out the GTA Trilogy Definitive Editon last November. Already, leaks have claimed the GTA 4 remaster has been in development for some time or that it will come as part of a bundle of multiple games. Now, one leaker claims to know new info about the rumored GTA 4 remaster including the available platforms, improvements, and release window. Leaker reveals alleged GTA 4 remaster info The leak comes by way of Twitter user ‘RockstarG_News_’, who claims the GTA 4 remaster is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4/PS5, and PC. Additionally, they claim the remaster will run at 60 FPS, feature all-new HD textures, and contains the Episodes from Liberty City expansion included. For those who may not know, the Episodes from Liberty City consists of two Expansion Packs released for GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned. Finally, the leaker implies that the supposed GTA 4 remaster will not include the original’s discontinued multiplayer and that the game has a release window of 2023. https://twitter.com/RockstarG_News_/status/1542262522828447745 While this is a lot of information to provide, it is also information that can likely be assumed, so readers should take the information with a grain of salt. For example, many modern remasters include previously released DLC, such as Insomniac’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 and PC. The leaker also claims the title is simply coming during “2023” which is a very broad window for Rockstar to announce a remaster. However, with GTA 6 reportedly still years away, maybe Rockstar has indeed tasked another developer with taking on the GTA 4 remaster as it did with the GTA Trilogy.

  • GTA fans will absolutely love the Wolves vs Arsenal matchday program – Dexerto

GTA fans will absolutely love the Wolves vs Arsenal matchday program Rockstar Games / Wolves / ArsenalPremier League games always bring new matchday programs with different designs, but Wolves vs Arsenal might have the best of 2022 so far with a nice splash of Grand Theft Auto-inspired art. Matchday programs will often have general notes for football supporters to read in the run-up to the game. Inside, you’ll find a note from the captain – or a specific player – as well as different statistics, interviews, and storylines from the current Premier League campaign. However, on February 10, the Molineux Stadium faithful were treated to a special surprise. Wolves vs Arsenal: Wolves unveil special GTA matchday program Wolves came into the match in eighth place, two positions lower than Mikel Arteta’s Gunners – who sit on 36 points. Just two points separated the sides, before kick-off. The Wolves manager, Bruno Lage, is enjoying a really impressive start to life in the English top-flight, with 10 wins, four draws, and seven losses at the time of writing. Their strong showings on the pitch have dripped over to an impressive performance off the pitch, too, as their designers whipped up one of the best matchday programs their fans have seen in some time. GTA players, in particular, will lap this one up. Tim Spiers, a Wolves club reporter for sports media outlet The Athletic, posted a picture of the cover before the game. In the replies, one supporter said: “That is something special. We’ve been lucky with the program artwork.” Another posted: “I will pay you to ship that to the United States!” While the artwork of the matchday program will have no bearing on the result of Wolves vs Arsenal, it will give fans something interesting to flick through on what will be a bitterly cold evening in The Black Country. A hot chocolate, or coffee, would be advised.

  • GTA fans want “Russian Vin Diesel” added to GTA 6 after viral TikTok – Dexerto

GTA fans want “Russian Vin Diesel” added to GTA 6 after viral TikTok TikTok, ‘dippingout’ / Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans have discovered the perfect character for GTA 6 after a TikTok went viral with a “Russian Vin Diesel” asking a kid about his… activities in GTA Online. Most GTA 6 news comes in the form of insider leaks and release date rumors. Sometimes, though, the game’s active fanbase turns their attention to other content – including stuff they’d like to see in the sequel. While GTA Online continues to dominate Twitch streams and many players’ day-to-day shenanigans, a viral TikTok has fans interested in GTA 6’s possible characters. Dippingout’s video, which currently has over 7.9 million views and over 11,000 comments, shows a man asking a kid about his GTA experience. He’s got an unbuttoned shirt, a strong accent, and the somewhat-intimidating humor that makes fans want him added to the game for real. Fans call for TikTok’s “Russian Vin Diesel” to join GTA 6 as character The TikTok is a bit like a modern renaissance painting: a large, bald, barrel-chested man with a fully unbuttoned white shirt and a Russian accent accosts a kid in a neon shirt who is trying to play some video games. Starting by asking if the kid “play with GTA,” the man begins a more specific line questioning: “Did you go into the strip club? And what did you see over there? What did you see over there?” Explaining that he has visited the establishment “for a mission,” the kid explains that he saw “nothing!” But the man wasn’t so easily convinced, as he continued prying: “What do you mean ‘nothing’? You didn’t see any t**s?” The kid denies seeing any such… body parts, but the man is, again, not so easily convinced: “Bulls**t! Did you see t**s? Did you like the t**s?” While the video ends before we get to find out if the kid did, or did not, enjoy what he saw at the game’s adult establishment, commenters still had a lot to work with. Immediately, many responded by calling the man “Russian Vin Diesel” and remarking on just how GTA this conversation about GTA felt. One user said “the dad should be a GTA character,” another called the TikTok “a GTA cut scene,” and another claimed this was a “GTA 6 character sneak peek.” Finally, putting the pressure on Rockstar Games to recognize the opportunity before them, someone started the movement we’re now covering: “Petition for Rockstar to include this clip in GTA 6 or they failed us.”

  • GTA fans uncover potential GTA 6 easter egg hiding in plain sight – Dexerto

GTA fans uncover potential GTA 6 easter egg hiding in plain sight Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans believe that Rockstar may have hidden another GTA 6 hint right under their noses following a new update to GTA Online. After years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that they’re working on GTA 6, but confirmed details about what the highly-anticipated game are still pretty thin on the ground – despite plenty of leaks and claims being made. As a result, fans are still searching high and low both in GTA Online and through Rockstar’s social channels to try and get a sliver of new information that they may have slipped up on releasing. Following the weekly update to GTA Online on February 17, some fans believe there may have been a slight hint about GTA 6 in there, though, they’re split on just exactly what it could mean. What has piqued players’ interest is the flashy advertisement for the Ocelot Penetrator being the new casino spin wheel vehicle. There’s no mention of Vice or the use of the number six, but rather the reflection of a poker chip. Just before the advert comes to a close, poker chips fall down the screen, and if paused in the right place, a few images can be seen on the right-hand side of the screen. Some fans claim they’ve spotted a police badge similar to the old Liberty City insignias, an alien, and even a notebook splattered in blood. The quick image has prompted plenty of frame-by-frame breakdowns in the hopes of finding something GTA 6 related. https://twitter.com/NEWSLEAKSGTAS/status/1494607705910263808 The references to the Liberty City police badge has raised a few eyebrows, given that many are expecting to head back to Vice City for GTA 6. Though, it could be just leftover assets from Rockstar sneaking their way in. As the developers continue to keep GTA 6 a pretty well-kept secret, we’ll just have to wait and see if this supposed hint ends up hiding any secrets or if fans are on a wild goose chase once again.

  • GTA fans think leaked GTA 6 Vice City screenshots might actually be real – Dexerto

GTA fans think leaked GTA 6 Vice City screenshots might actually be real Twitter: liltatowachoSome Grand Theft Auto fans are convinced that the new ‘leaked’ screenshots of GTA 6’s map are real even though leakers have attempted to dismiss them. To the annoyance of millions of fans around the world, Rockstar Games and Take-Two have remained pretty much silent on the topic of GTA 6, not even revealing if it’s being worked on yet. That’s left fans seeking out information from elsewhere – be that searching for clues in GTA 5 and GTA Online or trusting the word of supposed leakers. Regardless of official sources not saying anything, it appears as if GTA 6 will be headed to Vice City and there have already been a few leaked ‘screenshots’ of the expanded map and in-game activities. While some fans have dismissed them as yet more fakes, some fans are convinced. Over the past few weeks, numerous leaked ‘screenshots’ have surfaced online – some showing vehicles being used in the supposed new city, and others have focused more on the map you see when you pause the game. As these leaks have come out one after another, some fans have put them together to seemingly piece together parts of the map to create a full look at the new city. That’s sparked excitement in some fans who can’t help but point out that the new leaks link back to a few info drops from a few months back, with some even going back a year or so.

  • GTA fans may have found new info on GTA 6 release & Vice City Remake – Dexerto

GTA fans may have found new info on GTA 6 release & Vice City Remake Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans anxious for Rockstar Games to finally announce GTA 6 or a possible remake of Vice City may soon get their wish, according to some information fans have unearthed. As always, take everything you read here with a grain of salt as Rockstar has yet to officially unveil either title, but with all the hints and teases from the company as of late, chances are something is up. There’s an awful lot of circumstantial evidence piling up, so let’s dig in. Over on Reddit, fans have compiled a list of clues over the years that seem to suggest that Rockstar was looking into a return to Vice City, but not just for GTA 6. Redditor shimontec believes this is a sign that a Vice City remake is being built on the Red Dead Redemption 2 engine and perhaps remastered versions of GTA 3 and San Andreas. What’s the evidence? Back in August, Vector Hold, an “80’s Electro Synth project” tweeted that Rockstar was “hitting up Synthwave artists for a Radio Station” and that GTA 6 would likely be taking place in Miami. The user noted that music is one of the last things to be done in development. But if rumors about GTA 6 being far from release are true, could this mean we are getting something else instead? Additionally, there were weapon files for modern guns found within the code of Red Dead Redemption 2 – guns that don’t line up with GTA 5 or Online either. It would then make sense that they’re being tested in the RDR2 engine, but are for another game completely. The rumors about a return to Vice City have been swirling for a while, especially within the realm of giving players another location to explore in GTA Online. With GTA 5 being ported to PS5 and Xbox Series consoles later in 2021, plus the standalone version of GTA Online, fans are expecting something big to accompany the rerelease. A remake or remaster of Vice City could be just what fans have been waiting for, at least until GTA 6.

  • GTA fans hopeful for Rockstar announcement at PlayStation State of Play – Dexerto

GTA fans hopeful for Rockstar announcement at PlayStation State of Play Rockstar GamesWith Sony’s PlayStation State of Play scheduled for February 25, Grand Theft Auto fans are hoping to see something new from Rockstar at the presentation. PlayStation State of Play events are similar to Nintendo Directs in that Sony will unveil new information about upcoming titles – both announced and unannounced. One such title that fans want to know more about is the next-gen port of GTA V and possible remakes of GTA 3 and Vice City. While GTA V for PS5 was announced last year, fans don’t know much about the 2021 next-gen port so far aside from the fact it will be expanded and enhanced. Additionally, a stand alone free-to-play version of GTA Online is also in the works and will be exclusive to PlayStation for the first three months. Luckily for fans, some insiders seem to have left some clues suggesting that we’ll soon see news from Rockstar at the event. One staff member on the GTA Forums, Mach1bud, was teasing an announcement of sorts all the way back in January using some coded language. Basically, he was talking about fixing up a car that needed a new “engine” but it would be ready in around 90 days – a weird thing to be talking about in a speculation forum. Although 90 days from the original January 23 post would make a release for whatever content he was talking about be in April, one user seemingly predicted a February 25 announcement. On Friday, February 19, one member on the forum, ClimaCool, posted Mach1bud’s comment about needing 90 days and remarked “Better start warming up your engine. February 25 is coming.” Once the State of Play was announced on Tuesday, they quoted their older remark to state: “Is it a coincidence that they organize the PlayStation event on February 25?” With so many rumors regarding remakes of past games, next-gen ports and GTA Online upgrades, it’s looking like the State of Play is not going to be something Grand Theft Auto fans will ever want to miss.

GTA fans have a new way to pass the time until GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto fans that are eagerly awaiting an annoucement for GTA 6 have found an unusual way to pass the time inside GTA V. Even though Rockstar Games have remained silent on a possible new Grand Theft Auto title, that hasn’t stopped fans from dissecting hints, coming up with their own theories, and jumping all over possible ‘leaks’ as the hype builds up. While some fans have been turned their time into becoming detectives, others have found stranger ways to endure the wait – and it involves doing laps of the Grand Theft Auto V map of Los Santos. YouTuber 10HourMovies has kicked off a livestream of themselves riding around the GTA V map, claiming that they will continue to do it until the new game is released – it also helps that the time would also lead to some sort of world record. As of writing, the livestream has been going for a little over two weeks as 10HourMovies kicked things off on October 5, and is now closing in on 1000 laps. In that time, thousands of viewers have dropped by to watch as they race around the Los Santos map in a modified Obey Tailgater. However, some viewers have been skeptical of the livestream, with some passers-by regularly claiming that he YouTuber must have some assistance to keep the stream going. Comments explaining that it must be a bot or a recorded video can regularly be seen in the chat while the YouTuber also responds to messages, donations, and subscriptions on a periodic basis. Of course, it is unknown what 10HourMovies is doing to keep the stream and car going, but it’s clearly an interesting idea to pull off. With no official confirmation for Grand Theft Auto VI anywhere in sight, the stream will probably keep going for quite a while yet. Whether or not it’ll be able to keep up its success is another question, but it’s definitely worth dropping in on at least once or twice.

  • GTA fans freak out after bug removes multiple Rockstar games from Steam – Dexerto

GTA fans freak out after bug removes multiple Rockstar games from Steam Rockstar Games/SteamFans of Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Bully and more Rockstar titles were in for quite a scare after all those games were removed from Steam. On April 19, fans noticed that numerous Rockstar games had been retired from the Steam store, seemingly at the request of the publisher. Screenshots showing the large game library unavailable on the platform quickly spread online prompting some panic responses by fans desperately wanting to play the games. The first report of the games’ removals appeared to come from Twitter user RobotBrush who remarked how Rockstar “just completely f***ed off from Steam.” looks like rockstar just completely fucked off from steam all their games are purchase-disabled now pic.twitter.com/8SBOXZKJTe — lashman (@RobotBrush) April 19, 2021 “All their games are purchase-disabled now,” he added. Some even were sad to reveal they were planning on buying GTA 5 on the site soon. Luckily, however, the games returned not too long after. Journalist Jeff Grubb revealed he had reached out to Rockstar for comment on the situation. I asked Rockstar about this, but looks like it was just a bug. https://t.co/vo6npMYEx7 — Grubb (@JeffGrubb) April 19, 2021 “I asked Rockstar about this, but looks like it was just a bug,” he said in a tweet that showed the games returning. Read More: How to get free GTA Online 4/20 day rewards – It’s not clear exactly what caused the bug, but it was definitely a strange occurrence that confused quite a lot of fans. The news also came at a weird time for Rockstar. The next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto 5 is still scheduled for release in 2021, so seeing the PC version of the game pulled from Steam so randomly raised some flags. Especially if the remastered version ends up replacing the standard GTA V on PC. Seems like Rockstar have been taking their collection of games off Steam. What do you think this could mean? Transition to the Epic Store or exclusivity on their own launcher, perhaps? — GTABase.com (@GTABase) April 19, 2021 Additionally, of course, there’s still the mystery of the still unannounced GTA 6 causing everything Rockstar-related to find itself under a microscope. As such, some fans even began to speculate the company was planning to transition to its own exclusive launcher. Luckily, this whole issue was just caused by a bug and the games are back on Steam, but for a brief moment, it seemed like all hell was about to break loose for GTA and Red Dead fans.

  • GTA fans find secret Easter egg in Manhunt 2 – Dexerto

GTA fans find secret Easter egg in Manhunt 2 Rockstar GamesA GTA fan has discovered a chilling Easter egg hidden in Manhunt 2, proving why Rockstar is so good at connecting fans across its titles. 2007’s Manhunt 2 is hardly the game most players imagine when they think of Rockstar, with most fans likely pointing to Grand Theft Auto 5 or Red Dead Redemption as being its flagship franchise. Yet, the game did a good job at connecting itself to the world of GTA, primarily San Andreas, as shown by users on Reddit who found an Easter egg tying the events of Manhunt to the GTA classic. With GTA 6 officially in development, this might be a sign for players to go back and check out the rest of Rockstar’s catalog and see what they can find. GTA Easter egg discovered in Manhunt 2 As shown by user ‘Gurramen’ on Reddit, the manual for Manhunt 2 (remember those things?) included some interesting details about the protagonist Daniel Lamb. Notably, the character’s bio sheet states that he studied biochemistry at the University of San Fierro in San Andreas back in 1985. According to fans, this could show that “possibly worked in that zombie lab thing in San Fierro.” This is a reference to the Zombotech Corporation, an office that may have been using human DNA to create zombies. Amusingly, the building itself is an Easter egg that pokes fun at the Umbrella Corporation in Resident Evil. Some users even took this to mean that Manhunt and GTA is actually in the same universe, which is certainly fun to think about, especially for those with deep knowledge of GTA lore.

  • GTA fans finally get a cold Sprunk at real-life Cluckin Bell – Dexerto

GTA fans finally get a cold Sprunk at real-life Cluckin Bell TikTok/gio_dude1998Twitter/gibzongirlThe Grand Theft Auto series is well-known for its gameplay, story and parodying real-life with its in-game brands. Now, fans have gotten a chance to experience GTA’s Cluckin Bell restaurant in real life and it’s very impressive. It’s always a treat when fans get to visit a fantasy destination in person. In the past, we’ve seen fictional restaurants created in real life, but bringing a video game restaurant to the real world can be another challenge entirely. Despite those problems, attendees at San Diego Comic-Con were able to chow down on some Cluckin Bell as part of an “art performance.” Photos and videos of the restaurant have popped up on social media and they show just why this was such a cool experience for GTA fans. For some, you might even say it was the Summer update they were waiting for. IRL GTA Cluckin Bell goes viral on TikTok A TikTok by ‘gio_dude1998’ showing off the Cluckin Bell restaurant has gone viral on the platform with over 2 million views in two days. In it, the TikToker and his cousin check out the restaurant and everything it has in store, such as a “do not serve” poster for GTA 5’s Trevor Phillips, some food off the menu, an employee in Cluckin Bell attire and even a ‘Sprunk’ drink. In GTA, ‘Sprunk’ is a parody of Sprite and fans were actually able to order this bottled beverage for $5. Other items on the menu include the “little pecker,” “chicken sink” and the “farmer’s surprise” keeping in the spirit of the game. Unfortunately, the art performance only lasted until July 24, but hopefully those behind the viral restaurant decide to bring it back in the future, especially given the positive reception from GTA fans.

  • GTA fans doubt Rockstar can top the series’ best scene in GTA 6 – Dexerto

GTA fans doubt Rockstar can top the series’ best scene in GTA 6 Reddit: unproductive_nerdAfter over 10 years since this infamous exchange, GTA fans are challenging Rockstar to top Franklin and Lamar’s hilarious interaction in GTA 6. Since its release in 2013, it’s safe to say GTA 5 has left quite the mark on the gaming industry. It’s become one of the most profitable entertainment pieces ever, introducing players to the next evolution of the open-world crime simulator. It also paved the way for GTA RP, the roleplaying mod that’s kept players entertained for a while now. Yet one of the game’s most iconic and impactful moments came from an early game exchange between playable character Franklin and his friend Lamar. You know, the one that’s been “meme’d” to oblivion? The hopes for GTA 6 are massive, and with fans eagerly waiting, some are wondering if Rockstar has what it takes to one-up that legendary sequence. GTA fans challenge Rockstar to top Franklin and Lamar GTA 5 scene For the unaware, this interaction, in particular, is one of the game’s best. Lamar asks Franklin if he can hang out, but Franklin denies the request, and the former brutally roasts the latter in an NSFW tirade. It wasn’t until around two years ago this scene caught immense traction, and since then, it’s been modded to extreme lengths, replaced by iconic media characters, all roasting Franklin. In a lighthearted post, one GTA 6 states Rockstar’s biggest challenge with the upcoming title is whether or not the studio has the grit to top the scene. While this scene is legendary on its own, fans were quick to share their favorites. One user commented: “Lamar and Trevor talking on that overly way too long road trip mission is my fave.” Another shared that their favorite part was when Trevor kidnaps Martin Madrazo’s wife, both very memorable segments. Others were hopeful Lamar would return in GTA 6: “There’s no WAY they don’t bring back Slink Johnson as Lamar. He’s far too talented and way too f**king funny to not use again, in some way.” Safe to say the legacy of this scene has been cemented in the hearts of many. The best thing about GTA 6 is Rockstar has had plenty of time to cook up insane amounts of content. While it may be hard to top a segment from a decade ago, GTA 6 will surely produce something that’ll provide a new wave of memes for years to come.

  • GTA fans divided over “lazy” Trilogy Definitive Edition graphics – Dexerto

GTA fans divided over “lazy” Trilogy Definitive Edition graphics Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has finally unveiled the updated graphics for GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition featuring GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas, but fans are extremely mixed on the new visual look. As originally leaked, the remastered trilogy of games from the PlayStation 2 era are keeping to the cartoon style of the originals while modernizing them for next-gen consoles. In addition to the updated visuals, the games will also feature multiple improvements on the gameplay front, including better checkpoints and making use of GTA 5’s weapon wheel and aiming mechanics. However, despite the enhancements, the reaction from fans has been divisive with some praising the new and others expecting more. GTA fans slam Trilogy Definitive Edition visual upgrade On the more negative side of the spectrum, some fans feel like not enough was done to modernize the titles to make them look like GTA 5. Omfg they did the bare bones and said HERE. They could’ve atleast completely ungraded to graphics to GTA 5 https://t.co/atYPwchYEX — khi (@Khi_oken) October 22, 2021 “They did the bare bones and said HERE,” one fan remarked after seeing the trailer. “They could’ve at least completely upgraded to graphics to GTA 5.” https://twitter.com/NetworkBSG/status/1451557886434361349 Others dismissed the look as looking too much like Fortnite. Some even compared the upgrade to the updated Mafia games, claiming that “at least [they] delivered.” Fans even called the upgrade trash, claiming that it was a lazy improvement over the originals. The GTA definitive edition isn’t worth it to me personally. The visual upgrade is trash. Graphics, textures all look like it was done lazily. Pass for me. — David G Jr. (@stlcty03) October 22, 2021 Another issue that fans have had since before the graphics were even shown off was the price. Now with the game being unveiled, some don’t think the Trilogy warrants a $60 price tag and should retail for much less. The frick 5k????? Nah dude. Dont mind me getting that ps2 iso and activating upscaler in graphics settings. No seriously its not worth 5k. I can maybe see 3k but 5k is too much seeing how its just increased texture quality and GTA V style controls whatever that means pic.twitter.com/qqjPuLMF5T — Bulky (@BulkyNemesis) October 22, 2021 GTA fans defend Rockstar amid Trilogy graphics overhaul While some fans weren’t happy, others were pleased with the changes made to the games and are looking forward to playing them on November 11. For the people who expected GTA V graphics you are all insane. This is perfect they have kept it true to the originals with a nice adjustment to the visuals. A full remake probably would have never captured the magic of the original games. — Chris 👻 (@Chris0nF1re) October 22, 2021 “For the people who expected GTA V graphics you are all insane. This is perfect they have kept it true to the originals with a nice adjustment to the visuals,” one fan wrote, defending the remakes. “A full remake probably would have never captured the magic of the original games.” This sentiment rang true with some others thirty for a nostalgia trip. The Gaming Lemon chimed in, “really looking forward to the GTA Trilogy, like how they went with updated but still original graphics, looks dope.” Really looking forward to the GTA Trilogy, like how they went with updated but still original graphics, looks dope 👌 — Lemon (@TheGamingLemon) October 22, 2021 One fan even felt the graphics are better than GTA 4 while still looking outdated compared to GTA V. It will be interesting to see how the game sells and how it’s received once players return to Vice City, Liberty City and San Andreas. With GTA 6 still nowhere to be found or officially announced, hopefully this can tide us over until Rockstar’s flagship series makes the jump to next gen.

  • GTA fans convinced Rockstar broke silence on GTA 6 with subtle message – Dexerto

GTA fans convinced Rockstar broke silence on GTA 6 with subtle message Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans are convinced Rockstar Games have, finally, made another comment on GTA 6 after they added a classic Vice City t-shirt to GTA Online. Rockstar Games and their publisher, Take-Two, have their cards pretty close to the chest when it comes to GTA 6. They’ve both confirmed that it is in development and that the massive leaks from last September were a work in progress of that. Since then, Rockstar have continued pushing out content for GTA Online including the Los Santos Drug Wars and Los Santos Mercenaries update. While these two updates have added plenty of new missions, fresh vehicles, and other features to GTA Online, fans also believe they hold clues. That’s especially true in the case of the more recent Los Santos Mercenaries update, as fans believe the GTA developers are hiding clues in plain sight. GTA Online fans convinced new t-shirt is a GTA 6 reference Shortly after the update when live, players noticed that in the new ‘Rockstar Anniversary’ collection of clothing items, there are t-shirts that may have some secrets. One t-shirt has been decoded to have the message ‘one day will reveal all’, however, there is another, unreleased of yet, option that is a bit more in your face. It’s a white t-shirt in the style of the band Frankie Goes To Hollywood, whose song Relax featured in Vice City, that simply says ‘Rockstar Says Relax.’ While the t-shirt is just a parody of the ones the band iconically used to wear, it did also feature in Vice City Stories – the Vice City spin-off game. That has got some convinced that it’s a message about GTA 6. “W Rockstar for taunting the GTA 6 beggars,” said one. “Rockstar says relax is the best response to people saying ‘this isn’t GTA 6’,” added another. “I’m 100% convinced now that GTA 6 will be revealed before the next update,” commented another, more hopeful fan. As noted, it’s very likely just a nod to the good old days of Vice City Stories but when it comes to GTA 6, fans remain rabid.

  • GTA fans convinced GTA 6 reveal is coming after Rockstar message to developers – Dexerto

GTA fans convinced GTA 6 reveal is coming after Rockstar message to developers Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have said a “thank you” to GTA Online and GTA 5 devs amid rumors that they could be gearing up to finally reveal GTA 6. When it comes to big releases in gaming, there is non bigger or more highly-anticipated than GTA 6 – Rockstar’s next installment in the iconic Grand Theft Auto franchise. It’s been years in the making as fans have long uncovered hints about GTA 6 going back to Vice City, having a brother-sister duo as the main characters, and incorporating some classic characters from Grand Theft Auto history. Rockstar have confirmed that the game is very much in development, and they know that they have to exceed pretty high expectations, but both GTA 5 and GTA Online are still going strong after almost a decade. Though, they may finally be switching their full focus to the next game. Rockstar thanks all GTA 5 and GTA Online devs On September 2, some players – including Rockstar insider TezFun – noted that the developers have pushed out an update on the ‘Thank You’ page for all 5101 developers that have worked on GTA 5 and GTA Online. “Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online represent the combined efforts of our global team over many years,” the page reads, before naming everyone who has worked on the games. “We want to acknowledge and thank everyone who has contributed to these games, from their original launch in 2013 all the way through to present day.” Upon making the discovery, some questioned if this is the “beginning of the end” for GTA 5 and GTA Online. “Time for GTA VI,” commented one. “GTA 6 is coming!” added another. “V is finally approaching a well-deserved retirement and VI is coming,” another player noted. Naturally, some players disagreed and commented on how Rockstar are simply thanking everyone for their work. “The end ain’t in sight for probably another decade for online,” said one. However, the page does finally like somewhat of a goodbye to GTA 5 and GTA Online. GTAO is coming off the back of a big update, that has made it impossible for some fans on previous-gen consoles to play, as the tech is very much at its limits. When it comes to revealing GTA 6, that’ll be on Rockstar, and Rockstar alone. There have been plenty of suggestions that a screenshot or two will be shown before the end of the year, so we’ll have to wait and see if those claims are true.

  • GTA fans are convinced shroud is secretly playing on NoPixel server – Dexerto

GTA fans are convinced shroud is secretly playing on NoPixel server Rockstar Games / YouTube: Shroudy RowdyThe NoPixel RP server has been a hotbed of Twitch content in 2021, and some perceptive viewers believe they’ve discovered evidence that shroud has been secretly participating in the GTA V shenanigans. More than seven years after its release in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V remains an extremely popular game for both casual players and content creators. The open-world sandbox title has kept its popular status on Twitch and YouTube in large part due to RP (roleplay) servers. Roleplaying in GTA allows streamers to create any kind of content imaginable, and entire Twitch communities have been formed around this concept. NoPixel is the largest GTA V RP server, with dozens of roles for players to take on and limitless opportunities for content creation. The server exploded in popularity when many big-name content creators picked it up after the NoPixel 3.0 update. While streamers like xQc and Forsen — among dozens of others — have been streaming their NoPixel gameplay for weeks, some viewers on Twitch believe that shroud is also active on the server, but is playing in secret. While streaming his NoPixel gameplay on February 19, content creator PENTA bumped into two other characters in a nearby car. Roleplaying as a police officer, the streamer asked the driver of the vehicle “Where’d you steal that car?” to which the character responded, “I stole nothing, sir.” Immediately after the second player started talking, PENTA’s Twitch chat exploded as his viewers pointed out the other player sounded like shroud. Dozens of chats flew by as people speculated whether or not the character really was the Canadian streamer or just someone who sounded similar. After a minute-long conversation, the clip ended as more comments flooded in from viewers who believed this person really was the streamer in disguise. Everyone in PENTA’s chat seemed to believe the other player was shroud, with one user saying “it can’t not be him.” The clip also made the rounds on Reddit, and some perceptive members of the GTA community mapped out the timeline involving shroud and the NoPixel server. One player pointed out that “Shroud made his character on the 4th day or so on stream and never played again, and Esfand brought back Cletus the 5th or 6th day so probably [it was him].” Another Redditor mentioned that shroud told his community he didn’t want to stream any NoPixel gameplay in order to avoid other players focusing too much on him, which could explain why the powerhouse creator may have chosen to hop on the server off-stream. While shroud wasn’t streaming GTA V at the time, the voice from PENTA’s clip certainly sounded like the popular streamer. There’s no way to know for sure whether or not the player was really shroud, but perhaps fans could see him make an official return to the NoPixel sever at some point in the future.

  • GTA fans angered by rumored price of San Andreas & Vice City remasters – Dexerto

GTA fans angered by rumored price of San Andreas & Vice City remasters Rockstar GamesRockstar Games announced their highly anticipated GTA Trilogy remasters to the world, but early price listings aren’t impressing fans all that much. Despite receiving various upscale and ports over the years, Rockstar Games are celebrating the 20th anniversary of GTA 3 in style, with the announcement of the Remastered Trilogy Definitive Edition. Promising modern gameplay enhancements and fidelity upgrades for both current and last-gen systems, players will get to revisit all the iconic cities and stories once again. Though, if players want to board the next flight to Vice City, then they better save up, as an early product listing has indicated just how pricey the remasters will be. Fans aren’t happy with Rockstar’s supposed pricing Considering the titles in the Definitive Edition remasters are all nearly two decades old, fans might have thought Rockstar would price them a bit on the cheaper side. This unfortunately might be just wishful thinking. Rockstar hasn’t officially announced a price just yet, but several listings have cropped up from different retailers, putting it at a full-priced release – in other words, a $70 game like something brand-new on the shelf. Fans of the series have already begun to voice their concern, claiming that “Rockstar has gone mental” with the reported pricing given other remasters don’t cost as much. I’ll pass on the price…probably will pick it up cheaper when it’s online on FB marketplace 😅🤣🤣 — MRSQLIFE (@MrSQLIFE) October 10, 2021 Then I hope it’s properly made remasters and not just the same old graphics but in 4k resolution. — CheeseSailor (@Omegawyrm76) October 11, 2021 Players will be expecting a lot of bang for their buck if Rockstar is promising to deliver meaningful enhancements to the trilogy. “If they don’t at least look like GTA4, Rockstar can keep it for that price” another frustrated fan added. Not everyone is disappointed by the apparent pricing though, with some fans adding that “70 dollars for 3 games is fine,” while others are willing to pay more for their nostalgia trip. Ultimately, these listings are most likely placeholders and things will change, but we’ll have to wait and see what Rockstar says.

  • GTA fanatics uncover possible GTA 6 clue posted by Rockstar musician – Dexerto

GTA fanatics uncover possible GTA 6 clue posted by Rockstar musician Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans have unearthed a post by a Rockstar musician who worked on previous games in the series that could hint at GTA 6. Rockstar Games has yet to formally announce GTA 6 and with GTA V getting “expanded and enhanced” with its port to PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, it’s unlikely it will be any time soon. However, that hasn’t stopped numerous leaks and teases from popping up all over the internet. With fans so enthralled with getting any information they can about the title, they’ve begun combing through the social media accounts of those who worked on Rockstar Games. Now, fans have found a possible clue hinting not only that GTA 6 is in development, but potentially what kinds of music it will feature along with artists. A new GTA 6 clue? Music in Grand Theft Auto games is such a key part of the series. Nothing beats driving around Liberty City or San Andreas with some sick tunes blasting in your car. And it seems like a familiar presence could be working on GTA 6. In a March 23 2020 Instagram post, musician James Curd uploaded a Spotify screenshot showing that ‘The Setup’ from GTA V had over 16 million plays. The caption on the photo, however, is what players are talking about: “Can’t wait for GTA 6!” View this post on Instagram Seeing as Curd worked on both GTA 4 and 5, it makes sense that Rockstar would want him to come back for the next game. The post spread to Reddit where fans debated if he had inadvertently confirmed GTA 6 or if he was just expressing his legitimate hype at what is undoubtedly an upcoming follow-up. “I personally do not think this was him accidentally confirming the existence, most likely just him saying he’s excited for it. But at the same time, he could have actually accidentally confirmed the existence of the game,” CoryLVV, the user who posted the screenshot wrote. “Anyone can say that. Some of us might think that he’s responsible for GTA VI’s soundtrack, but it’s really hard to say,” another chimed in. It’s unclear what Curd’s intent was with the post and it’s ambiguous enough that even if he was accidentally confirming GTA 6, it’s impossible to know for sure. Hopefully, Curd and many other players get their wish though and we don’t have much longer to wait for the game to finally be unveiled.

  • GTA fan creates incredible GTA 6 map with all classic cities – Dexerto

GTA fan creates incredible GTA 6 map with all classic cities Wikimedia CommonsWith avid Grand Theft Auto fans patiently waiting on any word from Rockstar on GTA 6, they’re coming up with their own ideas for what the next entry in the franchise could include. Most important of all is the map. Speculation and rumors suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 will make a return to any number of familiar locations, including Vice City, Liberty City, San Fierro, and more. While there’s no confirmation at all, nostalgic players would no doubt love a return to these classic cities. So, in anticipation, one fan has created a map with all of them combined together. The map is essentially a very condensed version of the entire United States. Complete with Liberty City (NYC) and Vice City (Miami) on the east coast, and both Los Santos (LA) and San Fierro (SF) on the west. Read More: The most believable GTA 6 leaks so far – Of course, this is completely unrealistic for the game itself, which, even without considering the development time, such a large scale open world would struggle on even the most powerful of gaming rigs. Still, for the sake of nostalgia, this map concept would be any GTA player’s dream. Created by holidayonion, it features almost every area that’s ever been in past games. GTA 6 Map Concept You’ll also notice there are a few new locations too, which have never featured in GTA. New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Denver, and Seattle/Portland are all fresh ideas from the map creator. It misses out on some other iconic US cities like Chicago and Washington though, and more southern cities like Atlanta. How this map would actually work in terms of gameplay though, is another question altogether. There is a large expanse of rural land here, which would likely be pretty barren and underused if in a real GTA title, which has always been more focused on big cities. Whereas Red Dead Redemption 2 features much more open land, the gameplay was more tailored to this experience, with hunting and fishing. So perhaps a greater balance between the city and the countryside could be something to look out for in GTA 6. A more realistic idea, that still keeps in with the huge map concept, would be picking a single coast. For example, a game featuring both Liberty City and Vice City would be a great throwback, and could create very interesting story opportunities. Some leaks have suggested this is possible, but we’ll simply have to wait on the announcement from Rockstar, which currently still looks to be some way off.

  • GTA Diamond Casino heist: What are the chances of getting diamonds? – Dexerto

GTA Diamond Casino heist: What are the chances of getting diamonds? Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have been mixing up the rewards for the GTA Diamond Casino heist, but what are your chances of actually getting diamonds, gold, artwork and cash in the mission? As GTA Online players will be aware, Grand Theft Auto heists have a lot of planning and setup before you actually get to the final phase. Completing each of these can take time and let’s face it, what people are interested in when opening up the vault is what they will find inside. There is a possibility that diamonds, for example, are rotated out of the rewards from time to time, as the loot is ever-changing. So, let’s take a look at the latest reward spawn probability, as of March 25. In the past, there have been times where Rockstar have guaranteed that players who have never completed the heist before will stumble across diamonds for their first time, although that only covers one payout and we’re well aware that members of the community will be looking to reap the rewards of the GTA Casino heist more than that. If you don’t run into an ongoing issue that locks players inside the vault, unable to steal the loot in the Diamond Casino heist, then here are the reward spawn rates – according to Rockstar leaker TezFunz2. GTA Diamond Casino heist rewards Here you can see each of the rewards and the chances, using percentages, that they will appear in the vault when you crack it open. As for remaining percentages, the leaker says that’s because these are estimates that could tilt just higher or lower than each figure. Do have in mind that these stats are only relevant for when diamonds are available as part of the GTA Diamond Casino heist – which isn’t always the case. Cash (~37%) – Artwork (~28%) – Gold (~18%) – Diamonds (~15%) – Casino Heist vault content chances: Cash – ~37% Artwork – ~28% Gold – ~18% Diamonds – ~15%#GTAOnline— Tez2 (@TezFunz2) March 21, 2020 How much is the GTA Diamond Casino heist worth? Without diamonds activated in the game, the GTA Diamond Casino heist can be worth up to $2.1 million, which will obviously be split between each player that takes part in the heist. It’s worth noting, however, that those total takings can be difficult to take in-full. You will have to hack vault doors to access the max takings, not to mention avoid getting shot during the escape. Damage taken with the loot in-hand will reduce the amount, so watch out for that. Lester will also request around $60k for his cut. With diamonds included, the potential value of the mission does spike – hence so many players being interested. Therefore, when diamonds are found, the heist could be worth up to 50% more than usual (approximately $3 million). Easiest way of completing the GTA Diamond Casino heist There are three ways of tackling the GTA Diamond Casino heist, and those are: Aggressive, Silent and the Big Con. The first is definitely the most, well, aggressive to say the least. It requires your team to gun their way through the Casino security in order to make it in and out of the vault, blowing it open with thermal charges. The second, Silent, is probably the trickiest of the three, as the group of players will have to sneakily get all the way through the Casino with just a pistol. Lastly, and probably the easiest to complete, is the Big Con. For this one, you simply pick a disguise and sneak right the way through, drill open the vault, and get out of there with as little contact with enemies as possible – although there will be a lot of police waiting outside for your escape. So, there you have it! You now know how often diamonds will appear inside the GTA Diamond Casino vault, how much the entire thing could be worth, and the easiest method to get them. Hopefully, you will bag some diamonds in no time.

  • GTA Diamond Casino heist: New missions, vehicles & Twitch Prime rewards – Dexerto

GTA Diamond Casino heist: New missions, vehicles & Twitch Prime rewards Rockstar Games have finally made their new Diamond Casino Heist mission available to play in Grand Theft Auto 5 and it’s arrived alongside a shed load of new content. The game’s developers have done a brilliant job of keeping people interested in a game that’s, let’s not forget, over six years old. It was confirmed that they recorded their highest ever amount of concurrent players for the grand opening of the casino back in July and they don’t look like slowing down any time soon. Anybody who plays GTA or keeps up to date with news regarding the game will have known that December 12 was the launch for the brand new heist, although much more than that was then confirmed in a release day blog post. • GTA dev reveals original plans for Vice City Wanted system feature – Dexerto

GTA dev reveals original plans for Vice City Wanted system feature Rockstar/ GTA modsA developer who worked on GTA: Vice City has revealed that the game’s Wanted system was meant to be way more complex than what players got back in 2002. GTA: Vice City has a very rudimentary Wanted system just like the rest of the early games in the Rockstar series. Police in the 80’s 3D game generally spawn a set distance away from players after they earn a Wanted level and give chase. Rockstar’s former technical director, Obbe Vermeij, responded to a question about the Vice City Wanted system on social media, specifically about police appearing on a specific part of the map when players are wanted. The former Rockstar employee revealed that the police were originally going to be set on players more dynamically, and that this spawn point was a relic of that idea. “In Vice City, I experimented with pre-set locations where police cars would spawn just at the right time and with the correct initial speed to appear right in front of the player,” Vermeij said. Vermeij, who left Rockstar in 2009, said there are only a few of those police spawn points still left in the game, as they were “too much hassle” to set up more. GTA has leveled up its Wanted system since Vice City, making police spawns about as dynamic as what Vermeij wanted in the fourth installment. Rockstar has also made the police more advanced, like letting them use civilian cars to pursue players during long chases and adding in more vehicles like helicopters. Fans of the franchise will have to wait and see what the developer adds for GTA 6, which is set in Vice City, in terms of the police and Wanted mechanic.

  • GTA fans blast Rockstar for Definitive Edition’s “shameless” Steam release – Dexerto

GTA fans blast Rockstar for Definitive Edition’s “shameless” Steam release Take-Two InteractiveGrand Theft Auto fans are slamming Rockstar Games and Take-Two for launching GTA Definitive Edition on Steam without a patch. The celebration of GTA 3’s 20th anniversary in 2021 became mired in controversy following the release of GTA Definitive Edition. When Rockstar deployed the collection on consoles and PC via the Rockstar Launcher, most players were saddled with game-breaking glitches. The remasters were even delisted from the launcher for a time due to egregious errors. Since the titles are in much better shape now, fans hoped the long-awaited Steam iteration would arrive minus any major troubles. Yet, it’s clear those who were skeptical had every right to worry. GTA Definitive Edition’s patchless Steam version angers players To the delight of many, GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas hit Steam on January 19 via the Definitive Edition. Such delight quickly grew into frustration, however, when players realized the latest version didn’t even come with “a single patch.” Rockstar-dedicated Twitter account Ocean View called the move “shameless.” Notable insider Videotech_ blasted Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive. According to the insider, Zelnick previously told people he would personally see to it that GTA Definitive Edition’s issues were sorted out. Videotech_ later explained that their frustration stems from Rockstar re-releasing the game without addressing its ongoing issues. Many responses to the above posts suggest some fans expected nothing less. “You really expected something different?” Red Dead News asked of the insider. “The old Rockstar ain’t here anymore,” another Twitter user said in the thread. “Did you honestly think they’d have the integrity to fix the issues before pumping out the same hot mess on other platforms? Lmao,” came another reply. Many argued that Rockstar’s laser focus on GTA 6 likely means it has little interest in fixing older games.

  • GTA cosplayer warned to close DMs following harassment warnings – Dexerto

GTA cosplayer warned to close DMs following harassment warnings Rockstar Games, Reddit: Daria GertsenA GTA Vice City cosplayer paying homage to the classic 2002 game has closed their direct messages after fan interactions became worryingly toxic. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is revered as one of Rockstar Games’ best releases. Its beloved 80s aesthetic was influenced by films and shows like Scarface and Miami Vice, and now, cosplayer Daria Gertsen has paid homage to the game’s legendary artwork. However, the cosplayer was met with odd responses shortly after posting their GTA-inspired look. Redditors warn cosplay to close their DMs Cosplayer Daria Gertsen posted her homage to the ‘The Twins’ from GTA: Vice City on Reddit, gaining favor with fans of the game. The re-creation was so well received, that Redditor Perc300 requested a high-resolution version: “Definitely post a high res version on IG. This is clean af. I love the palm tree print on the wall.” While some fans noted she looked “exactly like” the iconic game art, many were quick to highlight the incoming barrage of messages from male viewers: “DMS ON LOCKDOWN. STANDBY FOR IDIOTS.” The warnings continued to grow in intensity as fans encouraged the cosplayer to remain private, with one fan declaring Gertsen should have stayed away from Reddit: “You shouldn’t have posted this on Reddit. You know what these… simps are like.” “Can you give us an update on what your inbox looks like in 24 hours?” said Redditor SatNam99. After one fan said they “sense… men” coming her way, Gertsen began responding to some of the messages too: “Don’t say that! Aaha I’m ready to defend!” “Ahahaha its good idea,” she continued in response to another fan requesting her messages to be switched to private. The cosplayer continues to post on social media, but it is unclear whether they’ve decided to restrict their messages.

Hall, who launched Möbius Entertainment in 1997 saw his company morph into Rockstar Leeds where he became the studio’s president. From there, he and the studio developed a number of titles such as Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, and the incredibly unique GTA Chinatown Wars, which debuted on the Nintendo DS. His portfolio also includes work on the ever-popular Red Dead Redemption series and LA Noire. Fans across the gaming spectrum commented on the loss of the developer and honored him for helping design some of the best games in Rockstar’s library. “Rest in peace to the guy. I remember loving playing those GTA PSP games,” a fan commented on Reddit. “VCS is my personal favorite GTA and it wouldn’t be possible without him, RIP,” another remarked. Our condolences go out to his family and friends for their loss.” So far, the cause of death has not been revealed. Gordon was only 51-years-old when he passed.

  • GTA coming to Tesla? Elon Musk teases fans – Dexerto

GTA coming to Tesla? Elon Musk teases fans Wikimedia/RockstarEccentric billionaire and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has dropped multiple hints about Grand Theft Auto being playable in a Tesla motor vehicle, in a typically bizarre set of tweets. Elon Musk is widely known as one of Twitter’s most eccentric, and widely followed, characters. The Tesla CEO and entrepreneur can be found regularly tweeting bizarre memes and jokes, sometimes even relating to his own company. Back in May, for example, the tech mogul wiped $14 billion off his own company’s value with a single tweet. On June 26, he turned his attention to Rockstar Games and their incredibly popular Grand Theft Auto series. “Only a matter of time before someone steals a Tesla while playing GTA on a Tesla,” he tweeted, much to the confusion of a lot of his followers. However, he then pedaled significant interest with a single-worded follow up: “Literally”. While there has been no official confirmation from Musk or Tesla, a host of his followers took this comment as a strong suggestion that Tesla’s will soon allow passengers to play some well-known video games while they are being used – and not just the arcade-like ones that are built into some cars now. Musk’s company is already working to pioneer new motor vehicle technology, and this would be the latest in a long line of futuristic features. However, the billionaire wasn’t done there, and began to meme Rockstar Games over the recently announced Grand Theft Auto V. The meme, also shared on June 26, shows Rockstar games ‘rinsing’ GTA V. The GTA V Remaster was considered by some fans as underwhelming, as many were expecting a reveal for GTA 6. Musk appears to fall into the category, suggesting the 7-year-old game has run its course. Whether the memes inhibit any future Tesla partnership with Rockstar remains to be seen but, with Elon Musk involved, we wouldn’t rule anything out.

  • GTA Online casino Lucky Wheel bug is handing out wrong rewards – Dexerto

GTA Online casino Lucky Wheel bug is handing out wrong rewards Reddit: GTAOnlineGTA Online players have uncovered a fresh bug that causes the daily lucky spin wheel to not pay out the correct reward at the Diamond Casino. After six years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally swung open the doors on the Diamond Casino and Resort, giving Grand Theft Auto Online players the chance to kick back and gamble away all of their hard-earned cash. It hasn’t been without issue, however, as players have uncovered exploit to have unlimited spins on the daily wheel, a method to guarantee winning the showcase supercar, and even a tactic to rack up an insane amount of chips. Yet, a brand new problem is causing players to be left without the prize they’ve won – with the game randomly giving up something else in its place. The issue was brought to light by Redditor LucioOh5, who made a post in the GTAOnline subreddit showcasing their lack of proper rewards. As the video showed, the poster spun the lucky wheel with great force and almost landed on the showcase vehicle. Instead, however, LucioOh5 was left with a consolation prize of 50,00 chips to spend at the casino. Yet, as they went to exit the spin wheel area, they were instead rewarded with a random piece of clothing. Other players were quick to point out that they had also suffered the issue and that they’d been left without their correct reward too – seemingly baffled by what had caused the mistake. “Same thing happened to me. Won the Thrax off the podium and it never got delivered to the garage I selected,” stated user 3Larry_Legend3 While Rockstar has been quick to fix problems with the Casino, including a stability issue that plagued its initial release, it’s unknown if they are aware of the new bug with the incorrect rewards. If they are, however, it shouldn’t be too long before a fix is in place as they won’t want players to be left shortchanged by their prizes for much longer.

  • GTA Casino heist teaser hints at GTA 6 South America setting – Dexerto

GTA Casino heist teaser hints at GTA 6 South America setting Graphics: Rockstar GamesRockstar Games might well have dropped the biggest hint yet that the Grand Theft Auto video game series could be heading to another part of the world in GTA 6. At least, that’s what some fans think. The game’s developers have revealed a brand new teaser for GTA Online’s next heist, involving one of the most popular features to be added to the map – the Diamond Casino & Resort. This new heist will be coming on December 12, marking yet another addition of fresh content to the ever-changing online mode in GTA 5. While there’s been a news announcement including all details of the next major mission released, it’s a short teaser trailer that has caught the eyes of many fans. Rumors have been rife in the game’s online community for quite some time about when the next game will be announced, what characters will be included in a future installment and some have speculated about where the next GTA game will be set – with moves to Europe and South America linked in the past. Read More: How to get Tesla’s Cybertruck in GTA V – While the new casino teaser might not have addressed any of those points, eagle-eyed social media users have spotted something particularly interesting in the still shots of the promotional video. The Diamond Casino & Resort: Score Big in Los Santos pic.twitter.com/M8TQ1KTEEZ — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) December 4, 2019 A map flashes across the screen for a split second in what looks like a technical glitch, showing only South America lit up, and now a portion of the fanbase have since suggested this could be the first easter egg hinting towards the setting of GTA 6. This was pointed out in a post to Reddit from ApplelypseNow and it might come as a surprise to fans that this isn’t the only clue to support the theory, according to some hopeful users from the GTA6 subreddit. VX97 said: “Doomsday Heist facility computer had circle around Vice City, Cuba, and Colombia and now South America is highlighted on this new Casino Heist DLC teaser. Even the mention of Project Americas is in RDR2 files. I think it’s happening, we gonna have Colombia in GTA 6!” The original poster responded to that suggestion, too. They said: “Having Guarma in RDR2 was a bit suspicious too,” Seems like a lot of effort to develop a jungle environment for such a short chapter. Possible dry run for more expansive jungle in Columbia or Central America. Sort of like how North Yankton preempted the snow environments in RDR2.” As long-term players of these games will know by now, fans absolutely love to put together their own theories and predict the next move of developers way ahead of schedule. Whether or not this is actually a teasing easter egg for GTA 6 remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, Rockstar themselves haven’t confirmed a thing. The wait for official information continues.

  • GTA Bottom Dollar Bounties: All bail office business locations & cost – Dexerto

GTA Bottom Dollar Bounties: All bail office business locations & cost Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s Bottom Dollar Bounties update is finally here, and you can now head up a Bail Enforcement business to make some cash. However, it’s going to set you back a little bit to get involved. There are two big GTA Online updates that you can typically pencil into your calendar: one in the summer and one in the winter. This year, the summer update revolves around Bounty Hunting in the aptly called Bottom Dollar Bounties patch. This new update has brought about a host of new vehicles, improvements to the Sell Mission timer, armor buffs for the Sparrow and Bombushka, and there is a new business – the Bail Office. Like pretty much every other business in GTA Online, these bail offices are spread around Los Santos and will cost you a small fortune to get up and running. Upon the launch of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, there are five locations for the bail office. These are Paleto Bay, Mission Row, Downtown Vinewood, Davis, and Del Perro. Unsurprisingly, the Downtown Vinewood office clocks in as the most expensive option at $2,620,000. If you’re looking to do it on a budget, though, the Paleto Bay location is the cheapest at $1,650,000. However, you’ll probably have to factor in more time for missions if you set up shop there. Paleto Bay – $1,650,000 – Davis – $2,000,000 – Del Perro – $2,350,000 – Mission Row – $2,390,000 – Downtown Vinewood – $2,620,000 – Bottom Dollar Bounties bail office upgrades When it comes to upgrades, there are five add-ons that you can purchase to give your bail office a bit of a boost. These include Personal Quarters, a set of Agents, a Gun Locker, Armor Plating, and of course, you can set your own style around the place. Agents – $1,500,000 – Personal Quarters – $295,000 – Gun Locker – $175,000 – Armor Plating – $125,000 – If you were to purchase the Downtown Vinewood location and fully kit it out, it would set you back over $4,100,000. So, while it’s not a cheap business to get involved in, it’ll provide some fun – especially if Rockstar continues to add Bounty Targets. Of course, there is also some work to be done with Vincent as well, and there will be a chance to sink some money into the Vinewood Car Club.

  • GTA 6’s story length may be a lot shorter than you are hoping for – Dexerto

GTA 6’s story length may be a lot shorter than you are hoping for Take-Two InteractiveWhile Red Dead Redemption 2’s story clocked in at well over 50 hours for most players, a leaker has suggested that GTA 6’s story will come in significantly shorter, based on their sources. Although little is officially known about GTA 6‘s story, or the rest of the game for that matter, this particular insider does, so far, have a solid track record of accurate information regarding the upcoming Rockstar title. YouTuber Legacy Killa HD was among the first to state that the game was being developed under the working name Project Americas, which has all but since been confirmed through source code leaks. He additionally stated a 2025 release date for GTA 6, which of course also came to fruition. As the first trailer has brought even more attention to the game, Legacy Killa HD has been dropping other little nuggets of information, which he claims are from the same sources as his previous details. GTA 6 story length shorter than RDR2? While RDR2’s story typically consumed around 50-60 hours to play to completion, Legacy Killa HD suggests this will not be the case for Grand Theft Auto 6. Rather, the game will clock in at around 35-40 hours of playtime for the story, which would be more akin to the length of GTA 5. Of course, this is likely based on just concentrating solely on the core missions and story beats, as opposed to all the mayhem that is customary to get up to in a GTA game. It is also worth noting that this estimation of 35-40 hours came, according to Legacy Killa HD, from a source around a year ago. So, potentially, it is out-of-date information. The actual completion length for GTA 6 will remain unclear until the game is launched and players start making their way through it. But, given the expected scale of the map, and all the extra fun that will undoubtedly be offered on the side of the story, there’s no reason players won’t be able to spend 100s of hours in GTA 6.

  • GTA 6’s main actor may have finally been found – Dexerto

GTA 6’s main actor may have finally been found Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are convinced they’ve found the actor and actress behind the game’s two main characters, and the evidence is pretty compelling. As Rockstar Games has played their cards close to their chest with regards to Grand Theft Auto 6, GTA fans have been left to their own devices when it comes to finding details about the highly-anticipated game. Back in 2020, they believed they’d uncovered the game’s first notable character – named The Mexican – after the role popped up on actor Jorge Cansejo’s resume. That role was subsequently removed, however, after the GTA community found it. Now that we’ve got the first official trailer, they’ve been on the hunt for the voices and faces behind Jason and Lucia. There have been a few strikeout moments, especially when some actors have tried to make bold claims about their apparent role in the game, but now fans appear to be on the right lines. After seemingly discovering that Manni L Perez is playing the role of Lucia, GTA fans are convinced that actor Gregory Connors is the man behind Jason. Fans spotted a voice-over role on Connors’ resume, claiming to be a lead in a Rockstar project that would be released in 2025 – which is very clearly GTA 6. That has now been removed from his list of roles, however. “Ladies and gentlemen, we got him,” one fan said. “We got both actors from one trailer and the leaks lol,” another added. There had been fan theories that Troy Baker – the voice behind Joel from The Last of Us – would play the role of Jason. However, Baker recently shut those theories down. “I want that guy, whoever it is, to get credit for his work, because I’m sure it’s going to be great,” he told the Movie Dweeb podcast.

  • GTA 6’s 2025 release has fans making lifestyle changes to survive the wait – Dexerto

GTA 6’s 2025 release has fans making lifestyle changes to survive the wait Rockstar GamesThe wait for the GTA 6 release has some fans worried they may not make it to 2025. Some fans are vowing to change their ways to increase their chances of seeing the launch. GTA 6 is something of a paradox right now. The release of its trailer and our first proper look at the game makes it feel closer than ever, but the 2025 release window seems like an eternity away. Even in this early stage of true GTA 6 hype, tantalizing bits of information are coming to light. The GTA 6 trailer has many hidden details and a former Rockstar dev insists the game will really look like the footage. In an effort to see if those claims are true, prospective GTA 6 players are doing whatever they can to survive until 2025. Partly for the memes, multiple fans have come out across social media with plans for lifestyle changes to ensure they see release. MyMixtapez shared footage of an uncredited Drill rapper admitting that “until GTA 6 comes out, I’m a b***h”.” In the video, the original creator announced he would stop making Drill songs, drive the speed limit, and eat healthily in an effort to make it to release. “I’m not eating no McDonalds, no Wendy’s, no Checkers, none of that. I’m eating straight broccoli, green beans, I’m on my healthy s**t,” they claimed. “I gotta live to see GTA 6 come out.” Interestingly, a lot of other people are pushing for a similar change of habits, all in an effort to make it to the GTA 6 release. Twitter user 2099gaming shared one of their TikToks to the platform urging their followers to adopt similar healthy practices. “I need everybody to eat your vegetables, eat your fruits, drink your water, exercise, walk around the block every day,” they implored their followers. “Do what you gotta do. We gotta survive until 2025.” It’s a surprisingly wholesome movement attached to a video game that Andrew Tate has slammed for violence and cop killing. No amount of conservative takes is going to stop these fans from getting their hands on GTA 6. If the hype levels are enough to prompt this sort of health consciousness, you can bet that players are going to get even more careful as more news drops. We’ll be following it all in our dedicated GTA 6 coverage.

  • FIVE things that would make GTA 6 awesome – Dexerto

FIVE things that would make GTA 6 awesome While we are apparently no closer to a GTA 6 announcement, the hype continues. Here are five things, a wish list if you will, that would make the next Grand Theft Auto game even more awesome than it already will be. 1. Cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Although the PS4 was the clear winner in the latest PlayStation vs Xbox battle – the ninth generation of consoles may tell a different story. It could be a much tighter affair when it comes to the PS5 vs Xbox Scarlett. Regardless, the player base will be fragmented to some degree and friends who played on different branded consoles will want to play together. Cross-play is the natural resolution for this – whether Sony and Microsoft can come to an agreement though, is another question altogether. 2. More players in lobbies Perhaps the biggest and most obvious leak to come out of GTA 6 so far is the sheer size of the map. One prominent rumor is that the Grand Theft Auto 6 map will be monstrous in size and incorporate all of GTA’s past maps – Liberty City, Vice City, etc. The massive area will need more players to populate it with, otherwise online could become stagnant pretty quickly. The limited number of players in Los Santos makes more sense as, relatively, it is a lot smaller. Players also tend to congregate in downtown Los Santos, so too many players would be carnage. If the GTA 6 map is as big as the leaks say it is, then maybe even 100 players would be too few! 3. Battle royale The battle royale hype may have temporarily died down but there is no question, if made correctly, that it would be an incredible addition to GTA. Just picture it, a huge, iconic map battling it out to the last-man standing in stunning 4K graphics at a smooth 60 FPS. No two games would ever be the same as even the first circle would cover only a fraction of the map. It would also be just one of several modes a game like GTA 6 could add. 4. Updated map – weather events Constantly evolving maps have become commonplace in 2019. Games such as Apex Legends, Fortnite and Black Ops 4’s Blackout have led the way in this regard. Updating the map allows developers to keep their games from becoming repetitive and in turn keeping the game fresh and the player base strong. GTA 6 probably won’t have this issue because of the enormity of it but, nevertheless, big map updates would only add to the game. These updates could be in the form of seasons or even weather events such as hurricanes or tsunamis that change the map entirely. These events could unfold on a particular day and be seen live, similarly to how Fortnite have done with some of their past changes. If players knew a tsunami was on the horizon and that Los Santos was the target, you can bet players would login in their droves to witness it. 5. Call of Duty within GTA Grand Theft Auto doesn’t have many weaknesses but its shooting mechanics are arguably one. The auto-aim system works for the type of game GTA is but is primitive in comparison to actual dedicated shooting games. If you have ever tried manually aiming in first-person perspective then you’ll know how laggy it feels in comparison to CoD. Read More: When is GTA 6 coming out? Rumors, release date, story and more for the next Grand Theft Auto game – If Rockstar can work on their shooting mechanics, and there is no reason they can’t, then the new modes that would be available to add as a result would be endless. Imagine a Call of Duty within the realms of GTA – domination, team deathmatch – all in seemingly endless map variations. These are just a few ways GTA 6 could be made even better than it will already be – what would be on your GTA 6 wish list? For now though, we wait until Rockstar reveal some official information about the game.

  • GTA 6 will reportedly release “episodic” single-player DLC expansions – Dexerto

GTA 6 will reportedly release “episodic” single-player DLC expansions DexertoThe first GTA 6 trailer will finally be revealed in December and as players await their first official look at the game, new leaks have surfaced about how Rockstar will support VI post-launch. Rockstar Games shocked the world in November by announcing that GTA 6 will be unveiled later this year, confirming months of speculation and numerous rumors. Although gameplay leaks have already revealed a trove of gameplay details, the existence of a female protagonist and a return to Vice City, GTA 6’s DLC plans remain a bit of a mystery, until now. Unlike GTA 4, Rockstar didn’t release any DLC for GTA 5 and instead poured resources into creating new content for GTA Online, but that doesn’t seem to be the plan for VI according to a well-known reliable insider. GTA VI leak reveals huge “episodic” expansion content plans In a new post on GTA Forums, notable Rockstar Games insider and leaker Tez2 join in on a discussion about Grand Theft Auto 6 having single-player DLC with some interesting remarks. “A SP DLC was considered for every title since GTA IV. Except, GTAV & RDR2 were never followed through due to the focus on online and work already starting on the next title,” Tez explained. He then turned his attention towards anti-crunch measures – something first reported on by Jason Schreier and how Rockstar had reevaluated how it develops its games. According to the report, GTA 6 would start out with a moderately sized release (by Rockstar’s standards) and then expanded over time. Tez added to this, explaining how Rockstar could be implementing this strategy. “It’s more of episodic content, aka expansions, than a singular SP DLC. They can do them yearly or biyearly. Which would help reduce crunch,” the insider noted. This could mean that GTA 6’s story campaign keeps getting new additions and missions over time, making the single-player more of a live service game in addition to the GTA Online components. Of course, until Rockstar confirms anything, take these claims with a grain of salt and a pinch of pepper, but we may not have long to find out if this content plan is real. Expect a lot more GTA 6 news and updates in December once the reveal trailer goes live and be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

  • GTA 6: Where is Vice City and what city is it based on? – Dexerto

GTA 6: Where is Vice City and what city is it based on? RockstarGrand Theft Auto 6, also known as GTA 6 has finally been announced, and this time players are going to none other than Vice City. As such, here is a guide on where Vice City is located and which actual city it is based on. GTA 6 has been at the forefront of discussion at least for the past five years. Players have been asking questions about the game for a long time now and thanks to a multitude of fake leaks, the hype for the game kept growing. However, on December 4, 2023, history was made as Rockstar officially released the first trailer for GTA 6. In the trailer, as well as in the press release, Rockstar Games confirmed that players will be going to Vice City in the upcoming GTA title. Therefore, here is what we know about Vice City and the original city from which it has been inspired. Where is Vice City in GTA 6 and what is it inspired from? Vice City within GTA 6 is located in the state of Leonida. As it happens, Leonida has been inspired by Florida which is located in the United States of America. As for Vice City, it is inspired by the City of Miami which also happens to be located in Florida. In the trailer, Vice City was showcased as an over-the-top place that is filled with a multitude of means for recreation. Naturally, being a GTA game, there is a certain sense of lawlessness in the entire setting. However, there is no doubt, that the original Miami is definitely one of the most vibrant cities in not just the United States of America, but the entire world. • GTA 6 websites updated ahead of rumored reveal date – Dexerto

GTA 6 websites updated ahead of rumored reveal date Rockstar GamesA handful of Grand Theft Auto 6 related websites have been given an update ahead of the supposed reveal date of March 25. While Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online have been pretty successful for Rockstar seven years after initially launching, that hasn’t stopped players from trying to find anything related to a potential announcement for GTA 6. Aside from potential in-game easter eggs, supposed Rockstar Games insiders have been surfacing in recent weeks and have all been hinting at the same thing – an announcement and reveal for GTA 6. Some claimed that Rockstar would have revealed something by now, and though that hasn’t happened, it appears as if they are working on something. Reddit user bozidarilic discovered that a number of GTA 6 related websites that are owned by Rockstar had been given an update on March 23 – while no other website under the developer’s umbrella had. These websites, which use names like GTAVI and GTA6, had also previously redirected to Rockstar’s main website or one of a few for GTA V. However, that is no longer the case, as these websites will now direct fans to an error page as if they’ve taken a wrong turn and typed in an incorrect address. What is perhaps more interesting, and further evidence that something is in the works, is that while the developers have regularly updated these sites in the past, they’ve come in waves. That means that in previous updates, everything from the main Rockstar page to Red Dead Redemption and even Bully would be given a refresh in one way or another. Now, while some fans might think that this is the missing piece of the jigsaw and confirms that something for GTA 6 is right around the corner, there hasn’t been any word from Rockstar at all about the game’s existence. A supposed, anonymous, insider claimed that the developers would be revealing GTA VI on Wednesday, March 25 so we’ll just have to wait and see as to whether or not this all adds up to what we’ve been waiting for.

  • GTA 6 website update could be teasing Vice City & Project Americas rumors – Dexerto

GTA 6 website update could be teasing Vice City & Project Americas rumors Reddit/Fabry06/Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto fans have uncovered the fact that yet another website that could be linked to GTA 6 has been updated, with some believing that an announcement isn’t too far away. As Rockstar Games remain silent on whats going on with Grand Theft Auto 6, fans of the iconic GTA series have started looking high and low for clues. In conjunction with a few in-game nods to the franchise’s past, as well as supposed leaks about GTA 6, signs have pointed towards a return to Vice City, with a storyline that involves the cartel and the narcotics game. It’s been dubbed ‘Project Americas’ and it seems as if, once we finally get to play GTA 6, we’ll be thrust into a GTA story and setting that goes above and beyond what we’ve experienced before. As noted, Rockstar have stayed silent on things, and so Take-Two, who publish Rockstar’s games, have fronted some questions. While they’ve said only Rockstar can give a definite answer, they’ve dropped some bread crumbs along the way. That includes registering different websites that are linked to future Rockstar projects, with hints in the website domain names for what they’ll be about. Most recently, following a raft of updates for websites like GTAVI and GTA6, fans noticed that one called RockstarCartel was given an update, seemingly ahead of something going live on there. Currently, though, if you go to the website, it returns a dead page. https://twitter.com/GTAVInewz/status/1381657482779619332 What’s the significance of these updates? Well, as noted, some fans have pointed to them being prepped for an announcement. Others though have taken it to mean that the name, RockstarCartel, simply confirms all the leaks about GTA 6 and Project Americas. However, there’s simply no telling what Rockstar are doing. They’ve not confirmed if GTA 6 is even in development, and it’s been left to insiders to confirm that detail. As ever with GTA 6, it’s a waiting game to see what happens next.

  • Alleged GTA 6 voice actor hints first trailer is coming soon – Dexerto

Alleged GTA 6 voice actor hints first trailer is coming soon Rockstar GamesA voice actor allegedly working on Grand Theft Auto 6 has implied that the first official trailer from Rockstar Games may be coming sooner than expected. As one of the most hotly anticipated titles of all time, any new information regarding GTA 6 immediately spreads like wildfire. Such was the case when voice actor Dave Jackson claimed to be providing voice over work for an upcoming character by the name of Captain McClaine. While these claims are yet to be verified, the voice actor has since doubled down on his alleged efforts with the upcoming Rockstar sequel. Having now deleted his original Facebook post, Jackson followed up on August 28 with some fresh intel. “The producers said I could spread the word,” he claimed. “There will be a new trailer soon!” No different from his original post, there’s currently no evidence to support Jackson’s claims. Though if he is to be believed, this means we could be seeing our first proper GTA 6 trailer in the next few months. No specific timeline was mapped out, but with GTA 5’s Enhanced Edition launching on November 11, it could pave the way for the first teaser of what’s to follow. For the time being, there’s no telling just how far off we might be from the eventual launch of GTA 6. Various leaks indicate 2023 may be a safe bet, while other sources have implied the Rockstar title won’t launch until 2025. If a trailer is allegedly on the horizon, this could mean development is progressing well, with Rockstar prepare to reveal the first footage. Though it’s obviously worth taking this new suggestion with a massive grain of salt. If Jackson really did provide voice-over work for the upcoming title, there’s very little chance Rockstar would allow him to publicly announce it just yet. Once would have been enough to go over the line, but two separate posts would more than likely land him in legal trouble. Therefore, we can’t take this speculation as fact for now, but it certainly adds to the intrigue of when we might finally see GTA 6 in action.

  • GTA 6 ‘voice actor’ fires up rumors for upcoming announcement soon – Dexerto

GTA 6 ‘voice actor’ fires up rumors for upcoming announcement soon Rockstar GamesThe Grand Theft Auto rumor mill is working overtime after a since-deleted tweet, seemingly from a voice actor, claimed to have done a part for GTA 6 and also hinted at an announcement soon. Rockstar Games have been tight lip about anything they might be working on for their next big release. The developers have barely mentioned anything about the next edition of GTA, making fans resort to any other source for potential leads. A voice actor referenced the February 4th news of the next GTA game being in development and, going by the language in the tweet, fans believe they were a part of the project in some way. Guy A. Fortt said in a deleted post, “Stay tuned [for] something coming real special!… Stay tuned for the new GTA game.” As a follow up to the original post, Cali Moore appears to be the casting director, not the character name as mentioned (thanks @OhSees2). GTA6 has appeared on the actor’s resumé since at least Jan 2021 – but we can’t confirm whether it’s actually GTA6 or just another GTAO update pic.twitter.com/PF4gOBqrbx — GTAForums (@GTAForums) February 11, 2022 This reignited the GTA community since the tweet came off the heels of Rockstar officially acknowledging that they were in “active” development of the next game in the series. But there’s ample confusion surrounding the deleted message which some think points to an imminent announcement. Since the talent in question mentions casting, it’s presumed that he meant he was a voice actor. Read more: 6 things GTA 6 needs – Others believed he could simply be a part of overall production working on a GTA 6 trailer but that remains to be seen. In either case, once the tweet started to get traction it was immediately taken down. This comes only weeks after Franklin’s voice actor from GTA 5 and follow-up GTA Online DLC sent out a cryptic tweet that featured an updated version of his in-game character. As 2022 rolls on, we’re bound to see something more of what Rockstar has been working on that will hopefully reveal more about GTA 6.

  • GTA 6 Vice City speculation grows after Cayo Perico update easter egg – Dexerto

GTA 6 Vice City speculation grows after Cayo Perico update easter egg Reddit/Fabry06/Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have discovered a new Vice City easter egg after the Cayo Perico update, leading some to speculate that this could be yet another sign that Grand Theft Auto 6 would return to Rockstar’s version of the sunshine state. It’s long been rumored that the next installment in the GTA series would see the franchise return to Vice City. Now, players have found a little easter egg that further fuels that speculation. The latest Cayo Perico heist update gave players a free jacket for participating in the 100 Billion Heist Challenge in November. Titled “Panther Varsity,” the jacket features a purple diamond and the number four in the front. The back of the jacket, however, is where things get interesting. On the back, there is a picture of a panther and the “fake Latin” phrase “Hostes Ad Pulverem Ferire” which roughly translates to “Pulverize the enemy.” The text is notably found above a courthouse-looking building in downtown Vice City in the 2002 title. It was also used as the slogan for the Starballs Demolition in Los Santos back in GTA San Andreas. “It might probably be just a reference to El Rubio panther and its enemies or something but at the end it still is a reference to Vice City,” Redditor Fabry06 noted. “Not saying they are directly hinting at GTA VI on Vice City or something but we’ve had some references in recent updates.” One very interesting element that the Redditor brings up is the El Rubio panther as Gustavo is eaten alive by a panther during The Cayo Perico Heist storyline. Gustavo’s outfit is very similar to that of Gonzalez from Vice City and Vice City Stories, which could be why the Latin on the jacket seems to be a reference to that game. Others have taken this easter egg as a sign that Rockstar is teasing them about GTA 6. “Great find. It could just be a simple reference but why reference Vice City of all places? Could be nothing, but I really feel like rockstar are teasing us here,” one player remarked. “Rockstar has been teasing VI this entire update going to a South American island, the coordinates on the first trailer that goes to that road in Virginia, all the little Vice City references like this one,” another chimed in. In any case, we’ll have to wait and see just if this is in fact yet another GTA 6 tease, but so far, Rockstar has been dead silent on any news pertaining to the long-awaited follow-up to GTA 5.

  • GTA 6 Vice City rumors reignited with mysterious website update – Dexerto

GTA 6 Vice City rumors reignited with mysterious website update Rockstar GamesChanges to two Take 2 owned websites have got Grand Theft Auto fans speculating yet again about the possibility of GTA 6 returning to Vice City when it finally launches. Throughout the early part of 2020, plenty of Grand Theft Auto fans assumed that Rockstar Games would be cooking up an announcement for GTA 6. Rumors and theories spread like wildfire as fans pointed to the Super Bowl reportedly hinting at something coming down the line as well as potential hints inside GTA Online. Since then, it’s gone pretty quiet on the GTA 6 front. Some reports have claimed that it’s only early in development while some Rockstar insiders have countered that, making their own claims that the next title is almost ready to go. While Rockstar have remained totally silent on the matter, it appears as if Take 2 – their publishing company – are working on things in the background. As of August 16, some fans have noted that two GTA related websites owned by Take 2 Interactive have recently had their ownership renewed. The two sites – one simply named gtavi.com and the other gtavicecityonline.com – don’t actually go anywhere. You can type them into your search bar but you’ll be hit with an error message. They don’t even reroute to GTA V websites like some other GTA 6-related websites do. Of course, the discovery will have some GTA fan believing that something is coming soon, however, that is unlikely to be the case. Developers regularly update their ownership of websites, social media accounts, and more just to protect their own IP. It stops them from losing the name to somebody else and having to pay out a large fee when they actually want to use it. Plus, Rockstar have already committed themselves to updating both GTA V and GTA Online for the next-gen consoles. So, while further changes like these websites will pop up from time to time, the excruciating wait for GTA 6 rumbles on.

  • GTA 6 Vice City map leak resurfaces with new screenshot and details – Dexerto

GTA 6 Vice City map leak resurfaces with new screenshot and details YouTube: DubStepZzA map leak for GTA 6, which appears to show an updated version of Vice City, has resurfaced with some details. However, not everyone is buying it. Rockstar Games haven’t even confirmed that they’re working on GTA 6, but that hasn’t stopped fans of the iconic franchise from digging into what they might be working on. After a whole heap of rumors about where the game might be set – including London, South America, and even Las Vegas – it seems as if GTA 6 will take players back to Vice City. The Miami-inspired location has popped up in quite a few leaks, and while the original map was big for its time, Rockstar could be going even bigger this time around. Back in late 2018, a satellite shot of what appears to be the GTA 6 map surfaced online, but it lacked key details like points of interest, shop markers, and more. Some players immediately dismissed it as a photoshop, but given how the Red Dead Redemption 2 map leaked way ahead of its time in a similar fashion, some fans have always believed it’s real. Now, a similar image has resurfaced with a few more details in the form of roads and showing off the southern part of the map. Previously, only the northeastern part of the map – which looks incredibly like Vice City – had leaked, but now there’s an extension to that. While some fans are still hoping it’s real, there are plenty of skeptics. “Looks more like a Just Cause map than a GTA one,” said one fan. “Something looks off about it. The actual render looks really blurry,” added another. There’s no way to determine if the map is real or fake, but like other GTA 6 rumors, it’s one that just won’t go away.
