Playing in a public lobby puts you at risk of coming across hackers, but the worst thing might be those players who decide that they just want to kill anyone they come across – again and again and again. It’s a genuine pain. There are also players who hold onto grudges after being killed. In fact, as Redditor itsKillShot677 put it, one player claimed they’d be trying to get revenge for almost a year, and others have had similar experiences. “This little gremlin is still angry about me killing him more than half a year ago… he kept bragging about 143 livestream viewers too,” they said, revealing an in-game message from the player who’d been waiting for revenge since December 2023. “I had something similar happen to me but my opponent didn’t specify the time he just said 4 months ago, it’s honestly sad,” one player said. “Like I hold a grudge and like to get revenge but this is next level,” another added. “Rent free for over 6 months is impressive,” commented another. Two other GTA fans had even had a run-in with the same player that itsKillShot677 did. “Yo I ran into this guy like a few days ago and he sent me the same thing. I just laughed it off,” one of them said. Others commented that they’d taken a note of the player’s name and were preparing to “grief” him in order to get a similar response. “Just added the guy as a friend on Xbox. If I see them on GTA I’m definitely joining,” another player added.

You can set up the Bail Office business, complete some contact jobs for Vincent, and get your hands on some new cars – including a handful of police-themed vehicles. Even though the update hasn’t been live for all that long, a number of players have found it “boring,” leading them to believe that Rockstar is pretty much just focused on GTA 6. “If I’m being honest, the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties was meh at best. Most the missions feel very repetitive, feels like every other business in the game prior to this update. Yup, GTA VI is 100% in full swing at Rockstar – thank god,” tweeted one fan. “Yeah it’s kinda boring, could’ve done so much more with this update,” another added. “The best thing about this DLC is knowing GTA 6 is 1 day closer to being released,” another commented. While some players argued that the content is “fine” in the update, others added that GTA Online is “on its last legs” because of GTA 6. “Idk why everyone keeps expecting huge updates and support to a game at the end of its life cycle,” said another player. A close look at the poster on his wall reveals that the text reads “You Own Los Santos.” Franklin’s status as a major player in the city is well established by the time The Contract takes place, but fans with keen eyes and big brains may recognize the poster from the CEO’s old bedroom, where a different version hung near his bed. The text originally read “Los Santos Owns You” but has clearly been torn and rearranged sometime before being installed in the office. This small attention-to-detail moment has had a ripple effect amongst the community. However, the idea of cosplaying artwork found within a game is certainly not as common. First, you need a game with a lot of paintings – Rockstar certainly ticks that box with its titles – and secondly, people determined enough to recreate them. Well, it seems the Grand Theft Auto community now ticks both boxes. GTA Online player cosplays as in-game artwork On January 12, one Reddit user called leemadz revealed their take on the ‘Crack of Dawn’ painting from GTA 5. For those who have never seen it before, it features a girl in a swimming pool, showing just her back. If you look closely, instead of using a real Martini glass, the poster instead added the same GTA Online graphic to the corner. A nice touch to complete this recreation. In the replies, one player said: “Some of the art in the game is legitimately good! I want to see more of this!” Another commented in the thread, adding: “I wonder if any others are based on IRL pictures?” Whether or not this will spark a new art-based cosplay trend in the Grand Theft Auto community remains to be seen.

Organizations were introduced to GTA Online during the massive Executives and Other Criminals content update in 2015, allowing players to become CEOs or VIPs and take on new missions in Los Santos. While many new game modes and jobs were introduced in the update, one aspect that initially caught players’ eyes were the exclusive outfits, only available to those with the CEO status. GTA Online players have had plenty of time to try them out since their initial release, however, one YouTuber Tobster 2346 recently shared a trick that would allow you to save all of the different CEO styles to your outfits. Once saved, you would be able to equip the CEO outfits in GTA Online without needing to maintain your own Organization. You can follow all of the steps below to try it out for yourself. How to save any CEO outfits in GTA Online Go to your interaction menu. Select ‘Jobs’ in the Hide Options tab and change ‘All Jobs’ to the Custom setting. – Make your way to the blue job circle outside of the Sub Urban store in Hawick, Vinewood. – Register your character as a CEO and choose the outfit you want to save. Once you’re ready go into the blue circle and launch the race. – Confirm all settings and press play until you reach the ‘Choose your Vehicle’ screen, from here you will need to press Right or Left on your D-pad four times and then quit the race. – After quitting the race you should spawn back in the same circle in your original outfit. You will then need to go into the store and press right on the D-pad to browse some of the shirts in front of you. – Once here, you will simply need to wait until it kicks you from choosing anything. After you get booted out and your CEO outfit is re-equipped, retire as a CEO and you should be able to save that outfit for future use. – It is worth noting that if you wait too long to browse the clothes after leaving the race, your outfit will switch back by itself, which will require you to start the steps over. Once you have saved your favorite CEO outfits in the store, feel free to revert the map settings and enjoy switching between your new styles.

GTA Online update patch notes: December 16 Rockstar confirmed the details of the patch on December 16, using their official developer blog page. [December 16, 2022] – Game Stability and Performance Fixed multiple crashes that occurred in GTAV and GTA Online – One of the specific fixes, confirmed by leaker Tez2, is for the Up-n-Atomizer festive skin. Many members of the community have been experiencing issues with their skin this December. Another notable change landed for text chat, affecting PC players. According to Tez2, “Text chat should now work properly displaying messages from other players and not only friends.” Those are the official and confirmed changes that have been implemented in this update, though players will still – no doubt – be hunting for secret tweaks after downloading it.

By now, Grand Theft Auto Online players have become accustomed to the multiplayer game’s ridiculous number of bugs. Some glitches prove relatively minor, hardly impacting the overall experience. Other in-game errors can cause quite the ruckus, though, resulting in randomly exploding cars and locking users out of explorable locations. Considering how often the title receives updates, issues of this nature will undoubtedly persist for a long time to come. But one recent bug especially has players scratching their heads in confusion. GTA Online cops kill one player at the weirdest time Object_Middle_696 shared a brief gameplay clip on Reddit that showcases their strange encounter with a GTA Online police officer. In the middle of a shootout with police, the player manages to get the upper hand and hit one surviving cop with a killing blow. All seems well and good until the officer in question, who’s dying on the ground, eerily fires off one last shotgun blast. That final shot instantly kills the player. Stranger still, the game seems to recognize the cop’s death beforehand, since the “Wasted” screen claims the player character took their own life. Reddit user Shashlik_McBlin pointed out that some dying NPCs have a chance to pull the trigger due to the “shock of the fall.” RearWheelDriveCult chimed in as well, noting that sometimes a falling gun will go off even if no one’s holding it. This isn’t the first time that a Redditor has shared such a clip, either. Several weeks ago, another GTA Online player ran into an NPC whose gun fired a kill shot after the enemy’s death. Cops or no cops, then, GTA Online players would do well to be mindful of NPCs supposedly succumbing to death with guns still equipped.

All new GTA Online vehicles coming in Criminal Enterprises update Take-Two InteractiveGTA Online’s impending Criminal Enterprises update will introduce 18 new vehicles to the multiplayer experience, according to early patch details. The Criminal Enterprises DLC has finally gone live for GTA Online players, bringing with it a myriad of ways for intrepid entrepreneurs to expand their business. A new mission, Operation Paper Trail, will also arrive in the next GTA Online update, its premise centered around a suspected petrochemical conspiracy. Rockstar Games additionally teased the advent of brand-new vehicles, though they’ve only released a handful on the first day of the update. Legendary Motorsports – Criminal Enterprises cars As usual, Legendary Motorsports has got the most stock of new vehicles for GTA Online’s newest update, with four new cars being available for purchase. These include the Benefactor LM87 ($2,915,000), Pegassi Torero XO ($2,890,000), Lampadati Corsita ($1,795,000), and the Obey Omnis E-GT ($1,795,000). Southern San Andreas Super Autos – Criminal Enterprises cars The only other car that has been added so far, that players have found at least, is over on Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It’s the stylish Bravado Greenwood that can cost anywhere from $1,098,750 to $1,465,000 depending on how you want to style it before hitting the road in it. Elitas Travel – Criminal Enterprises vehicles Now, no big GTA Online update would be complete without something to roam the skies in, and that’s exactly what you’ll find on Elitas Travel. A new helicopter – the Conada – is available to purchase from the executive vehicles website, but it will set you back between $1,837,500 and $2,450,000. However, you can’t add weapons to it, it’s just a stylish way to cut through the skies. GTA Online Criminal Enterprises drip feed cars & vehicles As with any GTA Online update, Rockstar Games will also be drip-feeding a host of new vehicles over the next few weeks, and we have some idea about them. GTANet’s WildBrick142 (via Tez2) recently took to GTAforums to share a host of details about what’s coming to Criminal Enterprises. The summer update will reportedly unlock access to 18 all-new vehicles, including Corsita, Conada, Draugur, Greenwood, “Kanjosj”, lm87, Omnisegt, Postlude, Rhinehart, Ruiner4, sm722, Tenf, Torero2, and Vigero2. Some, of course, are already out. WildBrick142 claims the following rides from Benny’s will round out the forthcoming additions, as well: Brioso (Brioso3), Sentinel Classic (Sentinel4), Tenf (Tenf2), and Weevil (Weevil2). Plus, players will have the option to upgrade the Greenwood and Omnisegt vehicles with Imani Tech. Criminal Enterprises counts as Grand Theft Auto Online’s first major update of 2022. Rockstar Games rolled out the last content drop of note, The Contract, in December 2021. Notably, The Contract brought GTA V protagonist Franklin Clinton back to the forefront, allowing players to explore a new adventure that also featured music legend Dr. Dre. In addition to fresh missions, The Contract also launched with extra vehicles, weapons, and a property called The Agency. It remains to be seen how Criminal Enterprises will stack up.

A new Criminal Enterprises DLC leak has players even more excited about the upcoming update. Criminal Enterprises DLC leak WildBrick142 leaked the addition of 18 new vehicles on the GTA forums, along with four new Benny’s vehicles (the Brioso, Sentinel Classic, Tenf, and Weevil), new events, and a metal detector collectible. Rockstar insider Tez2 posted WildBrick’s leak. Players can call Tony for a limo ride, and there are new events like Ammunation Delivery, dealing with troublemakers at the nightclub, or collecting a duffle bag for the clubhouse. Criminal Enterprises adds a metal detector, and Greenwood and Omnisegt can be equipped with Imani Tech. GTAO has tons of heists and missions to go on for players to earn cash. However, a lot of activities don’t always feel like the hassle or time was worth the pay out they give. This has been a recurring annoyance for a lot of GTA Online veterans, who’ve been clamoring for more variety from Rockstar aside from the Cayo Perico heist that recently launched. GTA Online Union Depository Contract payout With decent payouts seemingly hard to come by without investing a lot in the planning stages, the Union Depository Contract has been something of a relief for people lately. Located in the contract board at the Auto Shop, if you have the Union Depository job listed then you can make a healthy sum without much trouble. Reddit user ‘dazzathomas’ managed to get a $630k payout with the help of the x2 event – which means that even without the double pay, there’s still about $300k that can be quickly earned. The poster explained how they completed the contract with two friends, both of whom received about $120k for their troubles, which contributed to the bigger payout. “Depending on the number of players you complete it with the payout will vary, for 3 people it totaled 315K and then the double money brings it to 630,” they said. “Others have said that they got 500k, 530K, 585K, and so on.” Many agreed that for the money, this is a contract that’s not only easy to complete but ranks as one of the fastest ways to make money in GTA Online. Going by other players’ accounts, even if you’re going to do it solo, then you can expect payouts in the $500k range – so it’s time to cash in.

GTA Online confirmed as free-to-play on PS5 Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have confirmed that there will be a free-to-play version of Grand Theft Auto Online once it launches on next-gen console – giving players the chance to experience the game on a third generation of consoles with the PS5 and Xbox Series X. With expectations of a GTA 6 announcement taking over parts of the Grand Theft Auto fanbase, Rockstar Games delivered a teasing blow to those hopes during the PlayStation 5 reveal event. GTA V was the first game given the spotlight, with plenty of players hoping that the near-decade old title was going to give way to a GTA 6 logo. Instead, the developers revealed that an “expanded and enhanced” edition of the game would be making its way to the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. On top of that, the developers also revealed that the hugely successful GTA Online portion of things would also be making the move. Rockstar revealed that the multiplayer mode would be free-to-play on next-gen. Though, sadly, there were not any other details revealed about how players will be able to jump into the madness that is Los Santos without needing GTA V on PS5 or Xbox Series X. This would, seemingly, allow players to dive right into online without needing the single-player mode to launch first. On top of that, PlayStation fans will also benefit before the launch as they will be given a free $1,000,00 in GTA Online money each month prior to the launch of the PS5 and have the free-to-play version for three months before Xbox touches it. The free-to-play version of GTA Online will be available upon the launch of the PS5, however, Sony have not yet put a date in place for when that will be exactly. Sony noted that the release date and price point will come in a later announcement, though it is still scheduled to launch in the holiday 2020 window.

GTA Online community gives Rockstar suggestions on how to improve the game In a discussion first started by Mostifnotall on the GTA Online subreddit, the Redditor proposed a simple question, “what would you like to see added in GTA v online?” This question sparked a ton of interest in the comments in which all threw in their suggestions into the online hat. At first, Mostifnotall gave several ideas that Rockstar should maybe implement. They were all creative and different in their own ways. Some were ranging in the practical side of it, such as a do not disturb function on your phone, saying that “Tom Conners is so annoying that he’s about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit.” While others gave more content-related ideas such as a “movie studio expansion with Michael” or more heists in general, one that would task players with a “mission to rescue English Dave from Cayo.” GTA Online fans are some of the more diehard fans of any video game there is, with its release in 2013, players are always wanting to add more. This time around, though, they’ve found a way to get past the latest Stun Gun cooldown “fix”. Ever since its launch in 2013, GTA Online hasn’t ceased to have players running about in Los Santos. Whether it’s griefing each other, completing heists, or racing fancy cars, there’s always something to do. One thing that’s also always available for the community to do is find ways to break the game. The population has found a plethora of glitches and bugs in the game’s eight-year existence and there’s no sign of them stopping. This one in particular, though, relates to one of the game’s “non-lethal” guns. GTA Online community breaks the Stun Gun For the longest time, players weren’t able to purchase the Stun Gun, forcing them to have to perform glitches or bugs in order to get their hands on it. But with the latest update, Rockstar finally made it available. The weapon was made accessible with The Contract update and on top of that, fans could spam its use. Devs decided to give it a lengthy cooldown duration. This was done in hopes to calm down the improper use. But, as always, GTA Online fans found a way to circumvent that. First brought up by Reddit user _Publicharp_ on the GTA Online subreddit, they showcased a way to still have the Stun Gun without a cooldown. In order for the Stun Gun to not have a cooldown, players will have to perform a certain number of actions in rapid succession. First, shoot the Stun Gun at a target, then quickly after the gun dischargers, bring up your inventory menu then select “Enable Custom Weapon Loadout”. After that, swap from your main weapon back into the Stun Gun and that’s it – a Stun Gun without cooldown. Players will always look for ways to break GTA Online, be it a Stun Gun or a money glitch. Either way, Rockstar has yet another bug they have to fix.

Known to be an integral part of the game, Grand Theft Auto V’s music choices never cease to amaze. With a soundtrack consisting of a wide variety of radio stations that play different genres of music from reggae and hip hop to hardcore punk and pop, the seemingly everlasting music collection is a fan favorite. That’s why the GTA Online community is asking for it to be available on the go, not just while in a vehicle. GTA Online community wants working headphones Sometimes there’s nothing better than logging onto GTA V, getting in a car, and enjoying the game’s extensive music catalog. Being able to drive in a fictional version of Los Angeles can be exactly what you need. But what if you could take that music wherever you go? First brought up by Reddit user ‘wealboi’ on the official GTA Online subreddit, the Redditor proposed the idea that Rockstar “should add working headphones/earbuds” to allow players to listen to the radio whenever they want. This would make it so players wouldn’t be required to be in their cars to listen to the radio. Giving the ability to walk around Los Santos while jamming out to some sweet tunes if they so choose. The idea was immediately liked by other players on the subreddit, with some of them iterating on the idea, bringing up how an aux cord or Bluetooth to play their own music would be even better. “I still say they should have the option of playing your own music,” said one player. “Like you would with Bluetooth or the aux cord in your car.” Having music on the go could add yet another layer in a game as immersive as GTA V. Only time will tell if Rockstar Games would be open to the idea.

The Los Santos Tuners update injected a ton of content into the game, but players still have to save up their pennies in order to buy into the many new cars that were made available – with more to come throughout the summer. Anything helps in that endeavor so the devs are throwing in some added benefits to completing a Contract, but you’ll have a certain window to do so. Going into the summer, there’s a ton of new races and contracts that were introduced with the Los Santos Tuners patch update that players can complete. On July 24, Rockstar said that it would give players an extra $200,000 in GTA Online as well as a white ‘Born x Raised’ tee for completing a certain type of Contract. All you have to do is pick out a robbery-style Contract and complete it, from the planning stages to pulling off the final job. If you complete a Contract’s final job by August 2, then Rockstar will pay out the extra content for you sometime after that date. Even though setting up for a Contract like a robbery already has some overhead to take into account, this should still help getting enough cash to claim a big-ticket item. From December 19-25, running right up to the big day, GTA Online players will be able to pick up two different holiday vehicles –both of which has been wrapped up like gifts for the occasion. Ocelot Ardent The Ocelot Ardent, pictured below, is wrapped in the Deck the Halls livery and is available from December 19. Twitch Prime rewards Finally, Twitch Prime members can make the most of some Christmas presents of their own in GTA Online – with a number of items discounted especially for them. If someone is focused on finishing you off, you can simply wait for them to get close and throw a sticky bomb at them. If you manage to pull off the throw and hit your enemy with the sticky bomb, you easily hit the detonator and watch their bike explode. It is a truly magical sight if it comes off. Rogue jet Now, if you’re more adept at taking to the skies, the Rogue fighter jet can outrun the hoverbike pretty quickly and even take to heights that it can’t. It does come with a $1,596,000 price tag, but if you have a decent enough flying skill, you’ll be able to dodge any rockets that come your way. This time around, with the 2022 event, they’re now referencing the iconic 70’s movie Duel, which sees players being chased by a rampant tanker while they try and deliver an Exotic Export car to Los Santos Docks. So, here’s what you need to know. What is GTA Online Cerberus freemode event? As noted, the event takes the plot of Duel and places it right onto the streets of Los Santos. You’re tasked with picking up a car from one of 12 different locations and have to deliver it to the docks. Once you start the process of stealing the car in question, a raging Apocolypse Cerberus truck will chase you down with one goal – to kill you and make you fail the delivery. Though, it’s not all bad news. The truck wants to take you out, but if you can outrun it for five minutes, it will break down and allow you to complete the delivery with ease. You can also destroy the truck once the chase begins, but it’s not quite that easy. It will also try and run you over once you step out of the target car. GTA Online Cerberus event: Exotic Export locations As we mentioned, there are 12 potential locations for your target car to spawn, and they’re all pretty spread out across Los Santos. Thanks to GTAWeb, you can find each location pinpointed on the map below. So, be sure to check them out. How to start GTA Online Cerberus freemode event With this being a freemode event, you don’t really need to do too much to trigger it in-game. You just need to have been in a lobby – public or private – with at least one other person for 15 minutes. You also cannot have a Helicopter, Plane, Jet, Oppressor Mk2, Oppressor Mk1, Deluxo, Special Vehicle, or an Amphibious Car as your personal vehicle. You have to use literally anything else. Once you’ve ticked those boxes, the event will get underway so prepare for the chase of your life!

Bells will chime when you get nearby, and then you’ll be able to open it. However, as these chests are underwater, you might need a few rebreathers to help you out. Well, here’s everything we know. What’s coming in GTA Online’s Cayo Perico heist update? Well, the biggest change coming in this new update is, of course, the Cayo Perico Heist. The job looks to have the biggest payout of any of the GTA Online heists too, at around 4 million. Though it will cost around $2,000,000 in set-up because you must own the new submarine. Additionally, there are currently six new vehicles available. That’s not a lot, considering previous GTA Online updates have added upwards of 15, but we’ll see more drip-fed out over time – especially cars, as there is only available right now from the new heist. We’ve already mentioned a new nightclub too – the Music Locker. This is located under the Diamond Casino and will play a role in the heist, as that’s where you’ll trigger the first few steps. GTA Online Cayo Perico submarine price, upgrades & range The standout addition, away from the heist itself, is the new Kosatka submarine. It plays a key role in the heist, as it will act as your base of operations – like the Arcade for the Casino heist. Now, if you want one, it’ll cost $2,200,000 in its standard configuration but you can upgrade it a whole lot, and end up with a total cost of around $9,000,000 – if you go all out with the weapons, vehicle slots, and everything else. Additionally, Rockstar insider TezFun notes that if you spring for the missile system, the guided missiles have a 4000m range. So, if you docked down at Vespucci Beach, you’ll be able to shoot pretty much anywhere across the city. After years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally swung open the doors to Grand Theft Auto Online’s casino on July 23 – renaming the North Vinewood location to the Diamond Casino and Resort. While the long-awaited addition added a ton of new content like cars, housing, and clothing, it hasn’t been without its problems. Players have reported issues with the casino’s stability and plenty of exploits that allow them to rack up insane amounts of chips and cash. And still, despite patches from Rockstar, players have noted a fresh method to guarantee an incredibly expensive car. In a discussion on the GTAOnline subreddit, a number of users pointed out that the new ‘four-second method’ on the game’s Lucky Spin Wheel will hand over the showcase car that players see when they walk into the casino. Players would need to have a ‘fresh wheel’ – one that has the clothing reward selected – before trying to spin four seconds after the game prompts them to. Other players also noted that there is no necessary power at which players need to spin, but the method “practically guarantees the podium car” if they flick down quickly on the left stick. While Rockstar moved quickly to quell the recent inside Track exploit, which pretty much allowed players to control the race, the developers have not yet found a way to stop players from taking unlimited spins on said lucky wheel. Whether or not they are actively looking into this new glitch or not is unknown, but it is clearly a method that shouldn’t be in GTA V considering these podium cars are not meant to be easily won. [jwplayer M2iRw99J] After years of waiting, Grand Theft Auto Online fans were finally given the chance to bust down the Diamond Casino doors in a huge heist back in December 2019, with gold, art, cash, and even diamonds being available to steal. However, getting in, and sometimes even out of the casino while on the heist has been an issue. Some players have reached the vault and found that there’s nothing inside, or have reached the end of the heist and made absolutely nothing from their cut. Yet, there are glitches that are helpful too – be it having no police chase you on your escape, or being able to get inside the vault without a timer restricting how much you can loot. Players have been running into that latter glitch more often recently, with Reddit user DistressedUnit reporting that they’d experienced the helpful issue as recent as October 26. How it happened for the Redditor, was both themselves and a heist partner tried to activate the drill into the vault at the same time. While their teammate took control of the drill, DistressedUnit was sent through the sidewall of the vault – letting them bypass the drilling stage. Once inside, the Redditor noted that they were locked in place or anything like that. Inside, they were able to run around, hack doors, and start looting before the timer became active. Though, once their teammates busted the vault door down, the timer did come into play. Other players have noted that they’ve been able to replicate a similar glitch, allowing them to loot the vault quite a bit without the timer. Even though it’s a helpful glitch, it’s still an issue for Rockstar and could well be patched in the near future – especially as there is a new heist on the horizon with the impending winter update.

One of the most popular haunts in the game is the casino, especially in the ever-popular GTA RP NoPixel server. We’ve seen thousands of influencers grace its halls, with popular Twitch streamer Jaryd ‘summit1g’ Lazar even getting his hilarious just deserts for skipping the queue at the Lucky Wheel. For many, the casino has become a home away from home. Luckily, there’s a new bug in town that means that the party never needs to stop. GTA Online Casino bug A bug has surfaced on the GTA Online subreddit that shows players being trapped inside of the casino with no hope of escape. One player is seen traversing a completely empty casino, and they logically assume that the building appears to be shut. The issue is, though, that the player gets caught between three people having a conversation. Stuck in some twisted version of the Bermuda Triangle, they try to break free but, alas, they cannot. Fans automatically began to troll the unfortunate victim, writing that they “have been condemned to socialize” and that they “earned this reward,” mimicking the tannoy announcement towards the end of the clip. Rockstar rolled out Advanced Handling Flags with the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series update in early 2018. The changes weren’t retrofitted to older vehicles and, thus, only affected newer cars in GTA Online. Players weren’t pleased once they got their hands on the update. For a time, many of the newer cars suffered from engine troubles. Issues with bouncy suspension arose later, making driving certain vehicles an unpredictable and vexing affair. Petitions to have the feature removed didn’t succeed as many would have hoped. Though Rockstar has improved the system over time, players continue to encounter lingering issues. GTA Online’s Advanced Handling Flags are still a problem Redditor Tattendaal edited a video featuring examples of GTA Online cars making “infuriating popping sound[s].” The player assumed it may have been a case of broken gearboxes. Other users shared a different diagnosis, however. One Reddit user identified two flags causing problems in the video, “one that allows the car to shift late, and one that overrevs the engine.” The combined efforts of these flags cause the car to shift before hitting the rev limiter, thus resulting in the popping and crackling. Another person added that this particular Advanced Handling Flags problem is fairly new to GTA Online. It’s presently unclear if the crew at Rockstar Games is aware of the trouble and intends to roll out a solution. Since GTA Online’s launch, Rockstar has often found new ways of improving the core driving experience. But it appears that some changes ultimately weren’t for the best.

GTA Online bug is completely changing Diamond Heist approaches Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have been encountering a strange bug that is changing up their Diamond Heist attempts – altering their entry position and how the robbery plays out. After years of waiting, GTA Online fans finally got what they’d been asking for on December 12, access to the Casino in Vinewood. Aside from gambling away with their GTA Cash, players also wanted to take things a step further by being able to loot the casino’s vault. As a result, the Diamond Heist was launched, letting players go on an Ocean’s Eleven style robbery – complete with different vault contents, robbery disguises, and getaway vehicles. Players can choose whether to go in loud, sneakily, or pull of a con – but the latter is being affected by a bug. The change in entry point was noted by Reddit user Finnman0907, who showcased a video from their recent Diamond Heist attempt. They rolled up to the Casino as a part of the Bugstars con but managed to set off the guard at the back door. The gang sort of blew their cover, attacking the security guard and causing their entry to bug out. Though, after a pretty long loading screen, they had been transported elsewhere. Instead of entering the casino through the Staff Lobby, they were dropped where the Gruppe Sachs con would begin – with the armored money truck thrown in for good measure. After showing off the video, some Redditor’s responded and claimed that the bug had actually helped Finnman0907, as they were able to do the heist through an easier method. Others noted that the bug has been around for a little while and you will always end up with the Gruppe Sachs robbery. Yet, your cover will be blown once you’ve robbed the contents of the vault. Whether or not Rockstar will fix it, however, remains to be seen but players won’t complain about an easier heist. It means money at the end of the day.

On top of the new business and influx of new jobs, Rockstar have also added a handful of new cars to the game as well – including some police-themed vehicles and a fresh supercar. However, if you’ve got you’re expecting new weapons, then you’ll probably have to wait just a little bit longer. GTA leakers MorsMutual and PLTytus have revealed that there will be a new Stun Rod melee weapon. As noted, the Stun Rod has yet to go live in-game, but should be available from Amm-U-Nation or the Gun Van once it does. We’ve seen newer guns go into the Gun Van first, so you’ll have to check the new location of that every day. On top of that, there will be a Bottom Dollar Bounties skin for the Stun Gun to grab as well. The Stun Gun has been around for a while, so many players will have owned it for some time anyway. It’s possible that Rockstar adds other weapons via a further bit of drip-feed too, just as they do with weapons, as we’ve seen guns like the Service Rifle be added to the mix a long way after updates have gone live. There is a pistol, which looks similar to the 44 Pistol, in the Bottom Dollar Bounties update art, so that could be the answer for another.

While that’s fine, some people think that there’s a missed opportunity here for luxury living, seeing as people can explore the depths of the waters in style or function with the yacht and submarines. This gave user ‘GorgonAintThatBad’ an idea for Rockstar to expand its airbus selection with luxury blimps that could be, sort of, like a hub in the sky – and a much cooler way of navigating the GTA Online playground. While someone noted that a ‘rigid airship’ might be the more appropriate term, the features of this thing would be unlike anything GTA players have tried out so far. The user posted an image of a concept ship by ‘Dassault,’ which is pretty intricate in its own right. While the concept shows a ship with two lavish pools where dozens of people can gather with loads of carrying space underneath, something more streamlined could work for GTAO. People were already thinking of the kinds of heists or missions that would take place on an evil mastermind’s airship like this. But more than anything, GTA Online players would want to get one for themselves. Given the prices we see for the fastest supercars already, GTAO players are already thinking up how expensive something like this would be. “Would be priced at 12,000,000 (base price). Would cost a further 12,000,000 for a full upgrade. Would cost 50,000 to move it from place to place. Would cost 25,000 per day in maintenance costs. Would be an absolute waste of money. Would probably still buy it as well tbh,” user Qwertyuiop4325 joked. There’s plenty of people making highlight videos or clips that show them reminiscing before the alleged ‘ban wave.’ “Saying goodbye to my GTA account before tomorrow’s ban wave,” one video says. So far there hasn’t been any word from Rockstar about cleaning up their servers from potential cheaters, exploiters, etc. While there’s many instances of players getting punished for abusing cheats and the like, it’s unknown why a ban wave is expected in the first place. Still, that didn’t stop people from talking about the alleged ban wave as if it were happening, leading some people to either worry or look forward to the event. The GTA devs have famously implemented ban waves in the past. Last year, hackers abusing a God-mode toggle and money making cheat were ousted from the servers. Earlier that year, even if someone exploited a money-making glitch, the user’s account was simply wiped instead of being banned. GTA Online Aug 16 update patch notes: Buried Stashes fix, 4 dupe glitches patched Rockstar GamesGTA Online has released a background update on August 16, addressing several in-game glitches. While Rockstar has not officially released any patch notes, the details have surfaced online. Updates have already been released for GTA Online during August, including a secret refresh on August 11 addressing content from the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack. While many of these patches are beneficial and create a better gameplay experience, other repairs nerf exploits players use to progress in the game. Below, we have a list of all the changes that have been found in the update, and how glitch fixes may impact the game for certain players. GTA Online Aug 16 background update: patch notes According to GTA Online info watcher TezFunz2 on Twitter, the majority of the silent update focuses on four big exploits, including a semi god-mode glitch and a solo gold glitch for the Cayo Perico Heist. Below are all notable changes made in the update: An issue with Buried Stashes not updating daily on PC version Patched – Semi God Mode glitch involving Body Armor – Another Solo Gold glitch for Cayo Perico Heist – Auto Shop dupe glitch – MOC dupe glitch – The solo gold glitch repair is particularly funny to see in another round of patches, as the first glitch was supposed to have been addressed already in the August 11 patch. This break allows players to go through the floor into the basement without any work beyond setting up the glitch. Seeing a second rendition in the unofficial patch notes indicates players are still trying to find workarounds. Auto Shop dupe and MOC dupe glitches were also addressed in the update. Auto Shop Dupe glitches have been common in GTA Online, and allow players to duplicate existing vehicles. While this may be beneficial for the player, it is technically a break in the game, and it is good to see Rockstar repairing the problems. One of the most notable and beneficial fixes in the patch remedies an issue with PC version Buried Stashes not updating. While there aren’t any details in Tez2’s post, it is likely the Buried Stashes should work as intended for PC players from this point forward. Hopefully the changes made in the silent update will keep GTA Online gameplay running smoothly, even if a few exploits are no longer accessible.

GTA Online Arcade feature secretly removed in next-gen update Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has quietly removed a feature from GTA Online’s Arcade office with the next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developers made a number of changes to the game with the E&E update, including fresh visuals, new vehicles, faster load times, and the addition of Hao’s Special Works. After jumping over some hurdles to transfer save progress, players have been hunting down some of the things that have been tweaked without being stated in the patch notes. On April 5, another removed feature was unearthed. GTA Online Arcade feature missing after GTA 5 update Over on Reddit, one user by the name of JayProspero posted: “Did anyone else notice Rockstar removed this toy from E&E?” A number of action figure toys have been included in various GTA 5 challenges since the game was released, though this toy is actually just a prop for the room’s interior. Captain Spacetoy Interstellar, which used to have interchangeable body parts and bright pink attire, has been replaced by a black-suited character. One player replied: “I don’t know if I should be confused at Rockstar for removing this or if I should be confused at you for noticing.” A second comment said: “I will never look at my office the same way.” Another joked: “That’s it. I’m canceling my Plus subscription. I’ve had it. Enough.” As the change was not officially documented in the next-gen update patch notes, the reason behind the decision has not been made public. While the Grand Theft Auto series has always been edgy in its nature, there is a chance that the toy may cause offense to some players due to its nature.

GTA Online apartment exploit patched but players have found a workaround Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto Online player has found a workaround for the recently patched apartment duplication glitch, though, the steps are pretty extensive. While the majority of GTA Online players are grinders – completing missions, playing for hours on end, and taking advantage of all the double money rewards – some players do decide to bend the rules by using glitches and exploits. This can go as far as using God Mode hacks to troll a session or just duplicating items – be it money, casino chips, or even cars. For money, in the past, has come through the apartment transfer glitch but a recent background update from Rockstar got rid of it. However, some players have already put their heads together and figured out a way to get around it, opening up the possibility of duplicating money through different apartments once again. The lengthy workaround was pointed out by Claw 7K, who noted that what they’d found was working for PlayStation 4 users, but there were other methods for PC and Xbox users might be on the outside looking in. Compared to the four or five steps of the previous workarounds, the YouTuber had fifteen steps to follow with a lot of it centering around dropping into story mode, pausing the application, and following some patterns with pressing certain buttons on the controllers. The GTA Online fan also noted that it was a “semi-solo” method as you only need to join one random player during one of the steps. Some players noted that it also worked on PC and ended up rewarding them with around $3,000,000 each time. Though, as the Rockstar servers took a little bit of a dip on July 17, they were prevented from testing it any further. Rockstar has been sniffing out these workarounds and exploits with small updates to GTA Online, but there is no way of telling if this one will hang around or if they’ll patch it soon enough with a ban wave like the Casino Chip glitch.

The brand new online facility opened its doors for the first time on July 23, an event that was arguably years in the making for many Grand Theft Auto V players, and players are going to need as many chips as possible if they’re looking to compete with the high rollers. Cashiers will allow you to change in-game currency to chips at a rate of one to one and while a few ways to get more chips have already been revealed, one of the easiest is to find a number of hidden casino playing cards in the online mode. These hidden features have been dotted around the entire map waiting to be found, chiefly located in the Los Santos and Blaine County sections. For those wondering just how this all works, basically players can stumble across these playing cards in different places and as a reward for finding them, they will be granted extra chips to play with in the Diamond Casino – making it a really useful way of building up not just chips, but potentially cash too. So, let’s take a look at all of the 54 locations across the GTA V map where you can find these hidden cards. Recently, players had been glitches surrounding apartments and garages to make eye-watering sums of money. Some, who had used the apartment glitch, claimed that they’d been rest – while others carried on without repercussions. However, it appears as if Rockstar games have actually come down heavy-handed on everyone using the glitch by not only taking away their glitched money, but also wiping their accounts back to the very start. Rockstar rolls out money glitch reset wave In the late hours of August 27, some players noted that they had received emails from Rockstar about their GTA Online accounts – with the message notifying them of a reset. Usually when these ban or reset waves are sent out, players just lose any leftover money they had in the Maze Bank account. However, the devs completely wiped their account of everything – be it money, vehicles, progress in level, and anything else. It doesn’t appear to matter if you glitched a $10,000,000 or $500,000,000 from the glitch, anyone who has used it is apparently being punished. Grand Theft Auto V’s online portion has been going strong ever since the game released back in 2013. A steady flow of updates has kept players engaged with the multiplayer side of things – with plenty jumping back in with the Diamond Casino update back in July. Since that point, players have been wondering as to whether or not they’d actually be able to raid the Casino vault and get their hands on some huge cash with a heist. That dream became a reality thanks to the Diamond Heist update on December 12. Yet, what good is all that money if you don’t have anything to spend it on? Well, according to prominent GTA leaker FoxySnaps, there will be 20 new vehicles for players to open up their wallets for. Adding new vehicles, weapons, and clothes are a staple of every major update in Grand Theft Auto Online and that’s no different in the Cayo Perico Heist update. The new update, which is the long-awaited annual winter patch, gives players the chance to tackle a new heist and get their hands on new vehicles. But, Rockstar have only added nine on release day – much to the dismay of some GTA Online players. However, leakers have revealed that more vehicles will be released over time, and some have even gone as far as revealing what they believe the schedule will be. According to reliable Grand Theft Auto leaker FoxySnaps, there are 13 additional vehicles to those that have already been released in the Cayo Perico update. This includes one for the Legendary Motorsport’s – a supercar known as the ITALIRSX – another five for Southern San Andreas Super Autos, and seven from the Warstock Cache and Carry. Two of them wanted it smaller to be more realistic. The other two wanted it larger to be more cinematic.” “This went on a bit and I suggested making the size of the moon changeable in the game. This way they could decide in their own time and let me know the conclusion. Since I was working on the sniper rifle, I made it so that the moon toggled through 3 sizes (small, medium, large) as the player sniped it.” The former Rockstar dev finally admitted, “the artists never got back to me so I just left it in. It was still there in SA.”

Redditor shimontec believes this is a sign that a Vice City remake is being built on the Red Dead Redemption 2 engine and perhaps remastered versions of GTA 3 and San Andreas. What’s the evidence? Back in August, Vector Hold, an “80’s Electro Synth project” tweeted that Rockstar was “hitting up Synthwave artists for a Radio Station” and that GTA 6 would likely be taking place in Miami. The user noted that music is one of the last things to be done in development. But if rumors about GTA 6 being far from release are true, could this mean we are getting something else instead? Additionally, there were weapon files for modern guns found within the code of Red Dead Redemption 2 – guns that don’t line up with GTA 5 or Online either. It would then make sense that they’re being tested in the RDR2 engine, but are for another game completely. The rumors about a return to Vice City have been swirling for a while, especially within the realm of giving players another location to explore in GTA Online. Additionally, a stand alone free-to-play version of GTA Online is also in the works and will be exclusive to PlayStation for the first three months. Luckily for fans, some insiders seem to have left some clues suggesting that we’ll soon see news from Rockstar at the event. One staff member on the GTA Forums, Mach1bud, was teasing an announcement of sorts all the way back in January using some coded language. Basically, he was talking about fixing up a car that needed a new “engine” but it would be ready in around 90 days – a weird thing to be talking about in a speculation forum. Although 90 days from the original January 23 post would make a release for whatever content he was talking about be in April, one user seemingly predicted a February 25 announcement. On Friday, February 19, one member on the forum, ClimaCool, posted Mach1bud’s comment about needing 90 days and remarked “Better start warming up your engine. February 25 is coming.” Once the State of Play was announced on Tuesday, they quoted their older remark to state: “Is it a coincidence that they organize the PlayStation event on February 25?” With so many rumors regarding remakes of past games, next-gen ports and GTA Online upgrades, it’s looking like the State of Play is not going to be something Grand Theft Auto fans will ever want to miss.

While some fans have been turned their time into becoming detectives, others have found stranger ways to endure the wait – and it involves doing laps of the Grand Theft Auto V map of Los Santos. YouTuber 10HourMovies has kicked off a livestream of themselves riding around the GTA V map, claiming that they will continue to do it until the new game is released – it also helps that the time would also lead to some sort of world record. As of writing, the livestream has been going for a little over two weeks as 10HourMovies kicked things off on October 5, and is now closing in on 1000 laps. In that time, thousands of viewers have dropped by to watch as they race around the Los Santos map in a modified Obey Tailgater. However, some viewers have been skeptical of the livestream, with some passers-by regularly claiming that he YouTuber must have some assistance to keep the stream going. Comments explaining that it must be a bot or a recorded video can regularly be seen in the chat while the YouTuber also responds to messages, donations, and subscriptions on a periodic basis. Of course, it is unknown what 10HourMovies is doing to keep the stream and car going, but it’s clearly an interesting idea to pull off. With no official confirmation for Grand Theft Auto VI anywhere in sight, the stream will probably keep going for quite a while yet. Whether or not it’ll be able to keep up its success is another question, but it’s definitely worth dropping in on at least once or twice.

With GTA 6 officially in development, this might be a sign for players to go back and check out the rest of Rockstar’s catalog and see what they can find. GTA Easter egg discovered in Manhunt 2 As shown by user ‘Gurramen’ on Reddit, the manual for Manhunt 2 (remember those things?) included some interesting details about the protagonist Daniel Lamb. Notably, the character’s bio sheet states that he studied biochemistry at the University of San Fierro in San Andreas back in 1985. According to fans, this could show that “possibly worked in that zombie lab thing in San Fierro.” This is a reference to the Zombotech Corporation, an office that may have been using human DNA to create zombies. Amusingly, the building itself is an Easter egg that pokes fun at the Umbrella Corporation in Resident Evil. Some users even took this to mean that Manhunt and GTA is actually in the same universe, which is certainly fun to think about, especially for those with deep knowledge of GTA lore.

Despite those problems, attendees at San Diego Comic-Con were able to chow down on some Cluckin Bell as part of an “art performance.” Photos and videos of the restaurant have popped up on social media and they show just why this was such a cool experience for GTA fans. For some, you might even say it was the Summer update they were waiting for. IRL GTA Cluckin Bell goes viral on TikTok A TikTok by ‘gio_dude1998’ showing off the Cluckin Bell restaurant has gone viral on the platform with over 2 million views in two days. In it, the TikToker and his cousin check out the restaurant and everything it has in store, such as a “do not serve” poster for GTA 5’s Trevor Phillips, some food off the menu, an employee in Cluckin Bell attire and even a ‘Sprunk’ drink. In GTA, ‘Sprunk’ is a parody of Sprite and fans were actually able to order this bottled beverage for $5. Other items on the menu include the “little pecker,” “chicken sink” and the “farmer’s surprise” keeping in the spirit of the game. Unfortunately, the art performance only lasted until July 24, but hopefully those behind the viral restaurant decide to bring it back in the future, especially given the positive reception from GTA fans.

That’s especially true in the case of the more recent Los Santos Mercenaries update, as fans believe the GTA developers are hiding clues in plain sight. GTA Online fans convinced new t-shirt is a GTA 6 reference Shortly after the update when live, players noticed that in the new ‘Rockstar Anniversary’ collection of clothing items, there are t-shirts that may have some secrets. One t-shirt has been decoded to have the message ‘one day will reveal all’, however, there is another, unreleased of yet, option that is a bit more in your face. It’s a white t-shirt in the style of the band Frankie Goes To Hollywood, whose song Relax featured in Vice City, that simply says ‘Rockstar Says Relax.’ While the t-shirt is just a parody of the ones the band iconically used to wear, it did also feature in Vice City Stories – the Vice City spin-off game. That has got some convinced that it’s a message about GTA 6. “W Rockstar for taunting the GTA 6 beggars,” said one. “Rockstar says relax is the best response to people saying ‘this isn’t GTA 6’,” added another. “I’m 100% convinced now that GTA 6 will be revealed before the next update,” commented another, more hopeful fan. It’s been years in the making as fans have long uncovered hints about GTA 6 going back to Vice City, having a brother-sister duo as the main characters, and incorporating some classic characters from Grand Theft Auto history. Rockstar have confirmed that the game is very much in development, and they know that they have to exceed pretty high expectations, but both GTA 5 and GTA Online are still going strong after almost a decade. Though, they may finally be switching their full focus to the next game. Rockstar thanks all GTA 5 and GTA Online devs On September 2, some players – including Rockstar insider TezFun – noted that the developers have pushed out an update on the ‘Thank You’ page for all 5101 developers that have worked on GTA 5 and GTA Online. “Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online represent the combined efforts of our global team over many years,” the page reads, before naming everyone who has worked on the games. “We want to acknowledge and thank everyone who has contributed to these games, from their original launch in 2013 all the way through to present day.” Upon making the discovery, some questioned if this is the “beginning of the end” for GTA 5 and GTA Online. “Time for GTA VI,” commented one. “GTA 6 is coming!” added another. “V is finally approaching a well-deserved retirement and VI is coming,” another player noted. Naturally, some players disagreed and commented on how Rockstar are simply thanking everyone for their work. “The end ain’t in sight for probably another decade for online,” said one. However, the page does finally like somewhat of a goodbye to GTA 5 and GTA Online. GTAO is coming off the back of a big update, that has made it impossible for some fans on previous-gen consoles to play, as the tech is very much at its limits. More than seven years after its release in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V remains an extremely popular game for both casual players and content creators. The open-world sandbox title has kept its popular status on Twitch and YouTube in large part due to RP (roleplay) servers. Roleplaying in GTA allows streamers to create any kind of content imaginable, and entire Twitch communities have been formed around this concept. NoPixel is the largest GTA V RP server, with dozens of roles for players to take on and limitless opportunities for content creation. The server exploded in popularity when many big-name content creators picked it up after the NoPixel 3.0 update. While streamers like xQc and Forsen — among dozens of others — have been streaming their NoPixel gameplay for weeks, some viewers on Twitch believe that shroud is also active on the server, but is playing in secret. While streaming his NoPixel gameplay on February 19, content creator PENTA bumped into two other characters in a nearby car. Roleplaying as a police officer, the streamer asked the driver of the vehicle “Where’d you steal that car?” to which the character responded, “I stole nothing, sir.” Immediately after the second player started talking, PENTA’s Twitch chat exploded as his viewers pointed out the other player sounded like shroud. Dozens of chats flew by as people speculated whether or not the character really was the Canadian streamer or just someone who sounded similar. After a minute-long conversation, the clip ended as more comments flooded in from viewers who believed this person really was the streamer in disguise. Everyone in PENTA’s chat seemed to believe the other player was shroud, with one user saying “it can’t not be him.” The clip also made the rounds on Reddit, and some perceptive members of the GTA community mapped out the timeline involving shroud and the NoPixel server. One player pointed out that “Shroud made his character on the 4th day or so on stream and never played again, and Esfand brought back Cletus the 5th or 6th day so probably [it was him].” Another Redditor mentioned that shroud told his community he didn’t want to stream any NoPixel gameplay in order to avoid other players focusing too much on him, which could explain why the powerhouse creator may have chosen to hop on the server off-stream. While shroud wasn’t streaming GTA V at the time, the voice from PENTA’s clip certainly sounded like the popular streamer. There’s no way to know for sure whether or not the player was really shroud, but perhaps fans could see him make an official return to the NoPixel sever at some point in the future.

Though, if players want to board the next flight to Vice City, then they better save up, as an early product listing has indicated just how pricey the remasters will be. Fans aren’t happy with Rockstar’s supposed pricing Considering the titles in the Definitive Edition remasters are all nearly two decades old, fans might have thought Rockstar would price them a bit on the cheaper side. This unfortunately might be just wishful thinking. Rockstar hasn’t officially announced a price just yet, but several listings have cropped up from different retailers, putting it at a full-priced release – in other words, a $70 game like something brand-new on the shelf. With fans so enthralled with getting any information they can about the title, they’ve begun combing through the social media accounts of those who worked on Rockstar Games. Now, fans have found a possible clue hinting not only that GTA 6 is in development, but potentially what kinds of music it will feature along with artists. A new GTA 6 clue? Music in Grand Theft Auto games is such a key part of the series. Nothing beats driving around Liberty City or San Andreas with some sick tunes blasting in your car. And it seems like a familiar presence could be working on GTA 6. In a March 23 2020 Instagram post, musician James Curd uploaded a Spotify screenshot showing that ‘The Setup’ from GTA V had over 16 million plays. The caption on the photo, however, is what players are talking about: “Can’t wait for GTA 6!” View this post on Instagram Seeing as Curd worked on both GTA 4 and 5, it makes sense that Rockstar would want him to come back for the next game. The post spread to Reddit where fans debated if he had inadvertently confirmed GTA 6 or if he was just expressing his legitimate hype at what is undoubtedly an upcoming follow-up. “I personally do not think this was him accidentally confirming the existence, most likely just him saying he’s excited for it. The map is essentially a very condensed version of the entire United States. Complete with Liberty City (NYC) and Vice City (Miami) on the east coast, and both Los Santos (LA) and San Fierro (SF) on the west. GTA 6 Map Concept You’ll also notice there are a few new locations too, which have never featured in GTA. New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Denver, and Seattle/Portland are all fresh ideas from the map creator. It misses out on some other iconic US cities like Chicago and Washington though, and more southern cities like Atlanta. How this map would actually work in terms of gameplay though, is another question altogether. There is a large expanse of rural land here, which would likely be pretty barren and underused if in a real GTA title, which has always been more focused on big cities. Whereas Red Dead Redemption 2 features much more open land, the gameplay was more tailored to this experience, with hunting and fishing. So perhaps a greater balance between the city and the countryside could be something to look out for in GTA 6. A more realistic idea, that still keeps in with the huge map concept, would be picking a single coast. For example, a game featuring both Liberty City and Vice City would be a great throwback, and could create very interesting story opportunities. Some leaks have suggested this is possible, but we’ll simply have to wait on the announcement from Rockstar, which currently still looks to be some way off.

In the past, there have been times where Rockstar have guaranteed that players who have never completed the heist before will stumble across diamonds for their first time, although that only covers one payout and we’re well aware that members of the community will be looking to reap the rewards of the GTA Casino heist more than that. If you don’t run into an ongoing issue that locks players inside the vault, unable to steal the loot in the Diamond Casino heist, then here are the reward spawn rates – according to Rockstar leaker TezFunz2. It requires your team to gun their way through the Casino security in order to make it in and out of the vault, blowing it open with thermal charges. The second, Silent, is probably the trickiest of the three, as the group of players will have to sneakily get all the way through the Casino with just a pistol. Lastly, and probably the easiest to complete, is the Big Con. For this one, you simply pick a disguise and sneak right the way through, drill open the vault, and get out of there with as little contact with enemies as possible – although there will be a lot of police waiting outside for your escape. So, there you have it! You now know how often diamonds will appear inside the GTA Diamond Casino vault, how much the entire thing could be worth, and the easiest method to get them. GTA Diamond Casino heist: New missions, vehicles & Twitch Prime rewards Rockstar Games have finally made their new Diamond Casino Heist mission available to play in Grand Theft Auto 5 and it’s arrived alongside a shed load of new content. The game’s developers have done a brilliant job of keeping people interested in a game that’s, let’s not forget, over six years old. It was confirmed that they recorded their highest ever amount of concurrent players for the grand opening of the casino back in July and they don’t look like slowing down any time soon. Anybody who plays GTA or keeps up to date with news regarding the game will have known that December 12 was the launch for the brand new heist, although much more than that was then confirmed in a release day blog post. Let’s take a look at everything included in the bumper patch. GTA Diamond Casino heist update patch notes Heist breakdown The GTA Diamond Casino heist is made up of a number of different missions, but you’re going to need to buy yourself a brand new Arcade property – which can be found on the Maze Bank Foreclosures app – in order to get things going. These new heist vehicles include the Karin Everon, Lampadati Komoda, Maxwell Asbo, Maxwell Vagrant, Vapid Retinue MKII and Übermacht’s Rebla GTS. The selection of vehicles available at Warstock Cache & Carry just got bigger, too, as six new vehicles can now be bought right from their application on your iFruit phone. Additions include a Fire Truck, a Bugstars van and a Gruppe Sechs Stockade for those who are interested. Aside from vehicles, Rockstar also added a new iFruit Radio station with a whole host of new songs now available to listen to in the game. GTA dev reveals original plans for Vice City Wanted system feature Rockstar/ GTA modsA developer who worked on GTA: Vice City has revealed that the game’s Wanted system was meant to be way more complex than what players got back in 2002. GTA: Vice City has a very rudimentary Wanted system just like the rest of the early games in the Rockstar series. Police in the 80’s 3D game generally spawn a set distance away from players after they earn a Wanted level and give chase. Rockstar’s former technical director, Obbe Vermeij, responded to a question about the Vice City Wanted system on social media, specifically about police appearing on a specific part of the map when players are wanted. The former Rockstar employee revealed that the police were originally going to be set on players more dynamically, and that this spawn point was a relic of that idea. “In Vice City, I experimented with pre-set locations where police cars would spawn just at the right time and with the correct initial speed to appear right in front of the player,” Vermeij said. Vermeij, who left Rockstar in 2009, said there are only a few of those police spawn points still left in the game, as they were “too much hassle” to set up more. GTA has leveled up its Wanted system since Vice City, making police spawns about as dynamic as what Vermeij wanted in the fourth installment. Rockstar has also made the police more advanced, like letting them use civilian cars to pursue players during long chases and adding in more vehicles like helicopters. Fans of the franchise will have to wait and see what the developer adds for GTA 6, which is set in Vice City, in terms of the police and Wanted mechanic.

The celebration of GTA 3’s 20th anniversary in 2021 became mired in controversy following the release of GTA Definitive Edition. When Rockstar deployed the collection on consoles and PC via the Rockstar Launcher, most players were saddled with game-breaking glitches. The remasters were even delisted from the launcher for a time due to egregious errors. Since the titles are in much better shape now, fans hoped the long-awaited Steam iteration would arrive minus any major troubles. Yet, it’s clear those who were skeptical had every right to worry. GTA Definitive Edition’s patchless Steam version angers players To the delight of many, GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas hit Steam on January 19 via the Definitive Edition. Such delight quickly grew into frustration, however, when players realized the latest version didn’t even come with “a single patch.” Rockstar-dedicated Twitter account Ocean View called the move “shameless.” Notable insider Videotech_ blasted Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive. According to the insider, Zelnick previously told people he would personally see to it that GTA Definitive Edition’s issues were sorted out. Videotech_ later explained that their frustration stems from Rockstar re-releasing the game without addressing its ongoing issues. Many responses to the above posts suggest some fans expected nothing less. “You really expected something different?” Red Dead News asked of the insider. “The old Rockstar ain’t here anymore,” another Twitter user said in the thread. “Did you honestly think they’d have the integrity to fix the issues before pumping out the same hot mess on other platforms? Lmao,” came another reply. Many argued that Rockstar’s laser focus on GTA 6 likely means it has little interest in fixing older games.

I love the palm tree print on the wall.” While some fans noted she looked “exactly like” the iconic game art, many were quick to highlight the incoming barrage of messages from male viewers: “DMS ON LOCKDOWN. STANDBY FOR IDIOTS.” The warnings continued to grow in intensity as fans encouraged the cosplayer to remain private, with one fan declaring Gertsen should have stayed away from Reddit: “You shouldn’t have posted this on Reddit. You know what these… simps are like.” “Can you give us an update on what your inbox looks like in 24 hours?” said Redditor SatNam99. After one fan said they “sense… men” coming her way, Gertsen began responding to some of the messages too: “Don’t say that! His portfolio also includes work on the ever-popular Red Dead Redemption series and LA Noire. Fans across the gaming spectrum commented on the loss of the developer and honored him for helping design some of the best games in Rockstar’s library. “Rest in peace to the guy. I remember loving playing those GTA PSP games,” a fan commented on Reddit. “VCS is my personal favorite GTA and it wouldn’t be possible without him, RIP,” another remarked. Back in May, for example, the tech mogul wiped $14 billion off his own company’s value with a single tweet. On June 26, he turned his attention to Rockstar Games and their incredibly popular Grand Theft Auto series. “Only a matter of time before someone steals a Tesla while playing GTA on a Tesla,” he tweeted, much to the confusion of a lot of his followers. However, he then pedaled significant interest with a single-worded follow up: “Literally”. While there has been no official confirmation from Musk or Tesla, a host of his followers took this comment as a strong suggestion that Tesla’s will soon allow passengers to play some well-known video games while they are being used – and not just the arcade-like ones that are built into some cars now. Musk’s company is already working to pioneer new motor vehicle technology, and this would be the latest in a long line of futuristic features. However, the billionaire wasn’t done there, and began to meme Rockstar Games over the recently announced Grand Theft Auto V. The meme, also shared on June 26, shows Rockstar games ‘rinsing’ GTA V. After six years of waiting, Rockstar Games finally swung open the doors on the Diamond Casino and Resort, giving Grand Theft Auto Online players the chance to kick back and gamble away all of their hard-earned cash. It hasn’t been without issue, however, as players have uncovered exploit to have unlimited spins on the daily wheel, a method to guarantee winning the showcase supercar, and even a tactic to rack up an insane amount of chips. Yet, a brand new problem is causing players to be left without the prize they’ve won – with the game randomly giving up something else in its place. The issue was brought to light by Redditor LucioOh5, who made a post in the GTAOnline subreddit showcasing their lack of proper rewards. As the video showed, the poster spun the lucky wheel with great force and almost landed on the showcase vehicle. Instead, however, LucioOh5 was left with a consolation prize of 50,00 chips to spend at the casino. Yet, as they went to exit the spin wheel area, they were instead rewarded with a random piece of clothing. Other players were quick to point out that they had also suffered the issue and that they’d been left without their correct reward too – seemingly baffled by what had caused the mistake. “Same thing happened to me. Won the Thrax off the podium and it never got delivered to the garage I selected,” stated user 3Larry_Legend3 While Rockstar has been quick to fix problems with the Casino, including a stability issue that plagued its initial release, it’s unknown if they are aware of the new bug with the incorrect rewards. Rumors have been rife in the game’s online community for quite some time about when the next game will be announced, what characters will be included in a future installment and some have speculated about where the next GTA game will be set – with moves to Europe and South America linked in the past. VX97 said: “Doomsday Heist facility computer had circle around Vice City, Cuba, and Colombia and now South America is highlighted on this new Casino Heist DLC teaser. Even the mention of Project Americas is in RDR2 files. I think it’s happening, we gonna have Colombia in GTA 6!” The original poster responded to that suggestion, too. They said: “Having Guarma in RDR2 was a bit suspicious too,” Seems like a lot of effort to develop a jungle environment for such a short chapter. Possible dry run for more expansive jungle in Columbia or Central America. Sort of like how North Yankton preempted the snow environments in RDR2.” As long-term players of these games will know by now, fans absolutely love to put together their own theories and predict the next move of developers way ahead of schedule. GTA Bottom Dollar Bounties: All bail office business locations & cost Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s Bottom Dollar Bounties update is finally here, and you can now head up a Bail Enforcement business to make some cash. However, it’s going to set you back a little bit to get involved. There are two big GTA Online updates that you can typically pencil into your calendar: one in the summer and one in the winter. This year, the summer update revolves around Bounty Hunting in the aptly called Bottom Dollar Bounties patch. This new update has brought about a host of new vehicles, improvements to the Sell Mission timer, armor buffs for the Sparrow and Bombushka, and there is a new business – the Bail Office. Like pretty much every other business in GTA Online, these bail offices are spread around Los Santos and will cost you a small fortune to get up and running. Upon the launch of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, there are five locations for the bail office. These are Paleto Bay, Mission Row, Downtown Vinewood, Davis, and Del Perro. Unsurprisingly, the Downtown Vinewood office clocks in as the most expensive option at $2,620,000. If you’re looking to do it on a budget, though, the Paleto Bay location is the cheapest at $1,650,000. However, you’ll probably have to factor in more time for missions if you set up shop there. Paleto Bay – $1,650,000 – Davis – $2,000,000 – Del Perro – $2,350,000 – Mission Row – $2,390,000 – Downtown Vinewood – $2,620,000 – Bottom Dollar Bounties bail office upgrades When it comes to upgrades, there are five add-ons that you can purchase to give your bail office a bit of a boost. These include Personal Quarters, a set of Agents, a Gun Locker, Armor Plating, and of course, you can set your own style around the place. Agents – $1,500,000 – Personal Quarters – $295,000 – Gun Locker – $175,000 – Armor Plating – $125,000 – If you were to purchase the Downtown Vinewood location and fully kit it out, it would set you back over $4,100,000. So, while it’s not a cheap business to get involved in, it’ll provide some fun – especially if Rockstar continues to add Bounty Targets. Of course, there is also some work to be done with Vincent as well, and there will be a chance to sink some money into the Vinewood Car Club.

GTA 6’s story length may be a lot shorter than you are hoping for Take-Two InteractiveWhile Red Dead Redemption 2’s story clocked in at well over 50 hours for most players, a leaker has suggested that GTA 6’s story will come in significantly shorter, based on their sources. Although little is officially known about GTA 6‘s story, or the rest of the game for that matter, this particular insider does, so far, have a solid track record of accurate information regarding the upcoming Rockstar title. YouTuber Legacy Killa HD was among the first to state that the game was being developed under the working name Project Americas, which has all but since been confirmed through source code leaks. He additionally stated a 2025 release date for GTA 6, which of course also came to fruition. As the first trailer has brought even more attention to the game, Legacy Killa HD has been dropping other little nuggets of information, which he claims are from the same sources as his previous details. GTA 6 story length shorter than RDR2? While RDR2’s story typically consumed around 50-60 hours to play to completion, Legacy Killa HD suggests this will not be the case for Grand Theft Auto 6. Rather, the game will clock in at around 35-40 hours of playtime for the story, which would be more akin to the length of GTA 5. Of course, this is likely based on just concentrating solely on the core missions and story beats, as opposed to all the mayhem that is customary to get up to in a GTA game. It is also worth noting that this estimation of 35-40 hours came, according to Legacy Killa HD, from a source around a year ago. So, potentially, it is out-of-date information. The actual completion length for GTA 6 will remain unclear until the game is launched and players start making their way through it. But, given the expected scale of the map, and all the extra fun that will undoubtedly be offered on the side of the story, there’s no reason players won’t be able to spend 100s of hours in GTA 6.

As Rockstar Games has played their cards close to their chest with regards to Grand Theft Auto 6, GTA fans have been left to their own devices when it comes to finding details about the highly-anticipated game. Back in 2020, they believed they’d uncovered the game’s first notable character – named The Mexican – after the role popped up on actor Jorge Cansejo’s resume. That role was subsequently removed, however, after the GTA community found it. Now that we’ve got the first official trailer, they’ve been on the hunt for the voices and faces behind Jason and Lucia. There have been a few strikeout moments, especially when some actors have tried to make bold claims about their apparent role in the game, but now fans appear to be on the right lines. After seemingly discovering that Manni L Perez is playing the role of Lucia, GTA fans are convinced that actor Gregory Connors is the man behind Jason. Fans spotted a voice-over role on Connors’ resume, claiming to be a lead in a Rockstar project that would be released in 2025 – which is very clearly GTA 6. That has now been removed from his list of roles, however. “Ladies and gentlemen, we got him,” one fan said. “We got both actors from one trailer and the leaks lol,” another added. There had been fan theories that Troy Baker – the voice behind Joel from The Last of Us – would play the role of Jason. However, Baker recently shut those theories down. “I want that guy, whoever it is, to get credit for his work, because I’m sure it’s going to be great,” he told the Movie Dweeb podcast.

Partly for the memes, multiple fans have come out across social media with plans for lifestyle changes to ensure they see release. MyMixtapez shared footage of an uncredited Drill rapper admitting that “until GTA 6 comes out, I’m a b***h”.” In the video, the original creator announced he would stop making Drill songs, drive the speed limit, and eat healthily in an effort to make it to release. “I’m not eating no McDonalds, no Wendy’s, no Checkers, none of that. I’m eating straight broccoli, green beans, I’m on my healthy s**t,” they claimed. “I gotta live to see GTA 6 come out.” Interestingly, a lot of other people are pushing for a similar change of habits, all in an effort to make it to the GTA 6 release. Twitter user 2099gaming shared one of their TikToks to the platform urging their followers to adopt similar healthy practices. “I need everybody to eat your vegetables, eat your fruits, drink your water, exercise, walk around the block every day,” they implored their followers. “Do what you gotta do. We gotta survive until 2025.” It’s a surprisingly wholesome movement attached to a video game that Andrew Tate has slammed for violence and cop killing. No amount of conservative takes is going to stop these fans from getting their hands on GTA 6. FIVE things that would make GTA 6 awesome While we are apparently no closer to a GTA 6 announcement, the hype continues. Here are five things, a wish list if you will, that would make the next Grand Theft Auto game even more awesome than it already will be. 1. Cross-play between PS5 and Xbox Although the PS4 was the clear winner in the latest PlayStation vs Xbox battle – the ninth generation of consoles may tell a different story. It could be a much tighter affair when it comes to the PS5 vs Xbox Scarlett. Regardless, the player base will be fragmented to some degree and friends who played on different branded consoles will want to play together. Cross-play is the natural resolution for this – whether Sony and Microsoft can come to an agreement though, is another question altogether. 2. More players in lobbies Perhaps the biggest and most obvious leak to come out of GTA 6 so far is the sheer size of the map. One prominent rumor is that the Grand Theft Auto 6 map will be monstrous in size and incorporate all of GTA’s past maps – Liberty City, Vice City, etc. The massive area will need more players to populate it with, otherwise online could become stagnant pretty quickly. The limited number of players in Los Santos makes more sense as, relatively, it is a lot smaller. Players also tend to congregate in downtown Los Santos, so too many players would be carnage. If the GTA 6 map is as big as the leaks say it is, then maybe even 100 players would be too few! 3. Battle royale The battle royale hype may have temporarily died down but there is no question, if made correctly, that it would be an incredible addition to GTA. Just picture it, a huge, iconic map battling it out to the last-man standing in stunning 4K graphics at a smooth 60 FPS. No two games would ever be the same as even the first circle would cover only a fraction of the map. It would also be just one of several modes a game like GTA 6 could add. 4. Updated map – weather events Constantly evolving maps have become commonplace in 2019. Games such as Apex Legends, Fortnite and Black Ops 4’s Blackout have led the way in this regard. Updating the map allows developers to keep their games from becoming repetitive and in turn keeping the game fresh and the player base strong. GTA 6 probably won’t have this issue because of the enormity of it but, nevertheless, big map updates would only add to the game. These updates could be in the form of seasons or even weather events such as hurricanes or tsunamis that change the map entirely. These events could unfold on a particular day and be seen live, similarly to how Fortnite have done with some of their past changes. If players knew a tsunami was on the horizon and that Los Santos was the target, you can bet players would login in their droves to witness it. 5. Call of Duty within GTA Grand Theft Auto doesn’t have many weaknesses but its shooting mechanics are arguably one. The auto-aim system works for the type of game GTA is but is primitive in comparison to actual dedicated shooting games. Rockstar Games shocked the world in November by announcing that GTA 6 will be unveiled later this year, confirming months of speculation and numerous rumors. Although gameplay leaks have already revealed a trove of gameplay details, the existence of a female protagonist and a return to Vice City, GTA 6’s DLC plans remain a bit of a mystery, until now. Unlike GTA 4, Rockstar didn’t release any DLC for GTA 5 and instead poured resources into creating new content for GTA Online, but that doesn’t seem to be the plan for VI according to a well-known reliable insider. GTA VI leak reveals huge “episodic” expansion content plans In a new post on GTA Forums, notable Rockstar Games insider and leaker Tez2 join in on a discussion about Grand Theft Auto 6 having single-player DLC with some interesting remarks. “A SP DLC was considered for every title since GTA IV. Except, GTAV & RDR2 were never followed through due to the focus on online and work already starting on the next title,” Tez explained. He then turned his attention towards anti-crunch measures – something first reported on by Jason Schreier and how Rockstar had reevaluated how it develops its games. According to the report, GTA 6 would start out with a moderately sized release (by Rockstar’s standards) and then expanded over time. Tez added to this, explaining how Rockstar could be implementing this strategy. “It’s more of episodic content, aka expansions, than a singular SP DLC. They can do them yearly or biyearly. Which would help reduce crunch,” the insider noted. This could mean that GTA 6’s story campaign keeps getting new additions and missions over time, making the single-player more of a live service game in addition to the GTA Online components. Of course, until Rockstar confirms anything, take these claims with a grain of salt and a pinch of pepper, but we may not have long to find out if this content plan is real. While Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online have been pretty successful for Rockstar seven years after initially launching, that hasn’t stopped players from trying to find anything related to a potential announcement for GTA 6. Aside from potential in-game easter eggs, supposed Rockstar Games insiders have been surfacing in recent weeks and have all been hinting at the same thing – an announcement and reveal for GTA 6. Some claimed that Rockstar would have revealed something by now, and though that hasn’t happened, it appears as if they are working on something. Reddit user bozidarilic discovered that a number of GTA 6 related websites that are owned by Rockstar had been given an update on March 23 – while no other website under the developer’s umbrella had. These websites, which use names like GTAVI and GTA6, had also previously redirected to Rockstar’s main website or one of a few for GTA V. However, that is no longer the case, as these websites will now direct fans to an error page as if they’ve taken a wrong turn and typed in an incorrect address. What is perhaps more interesting, and further evidence that something is in the works, is that while the developers have regularly updated these sites in the past, they’ve come in waves. That means that in previous updates, everything from the main Rockstar page to Red Dead Redemption and even Bully would be given a refresh in one way or another. Now, while some fans might think that this is the missing piece of the jigsaw and confirms that something for GTA 6 is right around the corner, there hasn’t been any word from Rockstar at all about the game’s existence. A supposed, anonymous, insider claimed that the developers would be revealing GTA VI on Wednesday, March 25 so we’ll just have to wait and see as to whether or not this all adds up to what we’ve been waiting for.

Most recently, following a raft of updates for websites like GTAVI and GTA6, fans noticed that one called RockstarCartel was given an update, seemingly ahead of something going live on there. Well, as noted, some fans have pointed to them being prepped for an announcement. Such was the case when voice actor Dave Jackson claimed to be providing voice over work for an upcoming character by the name of Captain McClaine. While these claims are yet to be verified, the voice actor has since doubled down on his alleged efforts with the upcoming Rockstar sequel. Having now deleted his original Facebook post, Jackson followed up on August 28 with some fresh intel. “The producers said I could spread the word,” he claimed. “There will be a new trailer soon!” No different from his original post, there’s currently no evidence to support Jackson’s claims. Though if he is to be believed, this means we could be seeing our first proper GTA 6 trailer in the next few months. No specific timeline was mapped out, but with GTA 5’s Enhanced Edition launching on November 11, it could pave the way for the first teaser of what’s to follow. For the time being, there’s no telling just how far off we might be from the eventual launch of GTA 6. Various leaks indicate 2023 may be a safe bet, while other sources have implied the Rockstar title won’t launch until 2025. If a trailer is allegedly on the horizon, this could mean development is progressing well, with Rockstar prepare to reveal the first footage. Though it’s obviously worth taking this new suggestion with a massive grain of salt. If Jackson really did provide voice-over work for the upcoming title, there’s very little chance Rockstar would allow him to publicly announce it just yet. A voice actor referenced the February 4th news of the next GTA game being in development and, going by the language in the tweet, fans believe they were a part of the project in some way. Guy A. Fortt said in a deleted post, “Stay tuned [for] something coming real special!… Stay tuned for the new GTA game.” As a follow up to the original post, Cali Moore appears to be the casting director, not the character name as mentioned (thanks @OhSees2). As 2022 rolls on, we’re bound to see something more of what Rockstar has been working on that will hopefully reveal more about GTA 6.

GTA 6 Vice City speculation grows after Cayo Perico update easter egg Reddit/Fabry06/Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have discovered a new Vice City easter egg after the Cayo Perico update, leading some to speculate that this could be yet another sign that Grand Theft Auto 6 would return to Rockstar’s version of the sunshine state. It’s long been rumored that the next installment in the GTA series would see the franchise return to Vice City. Now, players have found a little easter egg that further fuels that speculation. The latest Cayo Perico heist update gave players a free jacket for participating in the 100 Billion Heist Challenge in November. Titled “Panther Varsity,” the jacket features a purple diamond and the number four in the front. The back of the jacket, however, is where things get interesting. On the back, there is a picture of a panther and the “fake Latin” phrase “Hostes Ad Pulverem Ferire” which roughly translates to “Pulverize the enemy.” The text is notably found above a courthouse-looking building in downtown Vice City in the 2002 title. It was also used as the slogan for the Starballs Demolition in Los Santos back in GTA San Andreas. “It might probably be just a reference to El Rubio panther and its enemies or something but at the end it still is a reference to Vice City,” Redditor Fabry06 noted. “Not saying they are directly hinting at GTA VI on Vice City or something but we’ve had some references in recent updates.” One very interesting element that the Redditor brings up is the El Rubio panther as Gustavo is eaten alive by a panther during The Cayo Perico Heist storyline. Gustavo’s outfit is very similar to that of Gonzalez from Vice City and Vice City Stories, which could be why the Latin on the jacket seems to be a reference to that game. Others have taken this easter egg as a sign that Rockstar is teasing them about GTA 6. “Great find. It could just be a simple reference but why reference Vice City of all places? Could be nothing, but I really feel like rockstar are teasing us here,” one player remarked. “Rockstar has been teasing VI this entire update going to a South American island, the coordinates on the first trailer that goes to that road in Virginia, all the little Vice City references like this one,” another chimed in. Rumors and theories spread like wildfire as fans pointed to the Super Bowl reportedly hinting at something coming down the line as well as potential hints inside GTA Online. Since then, it’s gone pretty quiet on the GTA 6 front. Some reports have claimed that it’s only early in development while some Rockstar insiders have countered that, making their own claims that the next title is almost ready to go. While Rockstar have remained totally silent on the matter, it appears as if Take 2 – their publishing company – are working on things in the background. As of August 16, some fans have noted that two GTA related websites owned by Take 2 Interactive have recently had their ownership renewed. The two sites – one simply named gtavi.com and the other gtavicecityonline.com – don’t actually go anywhere. You can type them into your search bar but you’ll be hit with an error message. They don’t even reroute to GTA V websites like some other GTA 6-related websites do. Of course, the discovery will have some GTA fan believing that something is coming soon, however, that is unlikely to be the case. Developers regularly update their ownership of websites, social media accounts, and more just to protect their own IP. It stops them from losing the name to somebody else and having to pay out a large fee when they actually want to use it. Plus, Rockstar have already committed themselves to updating both GTA V and GTA Online for the next-gen consoles. So, while further changes like these websites will pop up from time to time, the excruciating wait for GTA 6 rumbles on.

However, not everyone is buying it. Rockstar Games haven’t even confirmed that they’re working on GTA 6, but that hasn’t stopped fans of the iconic franchise from digging into what they might be working on. After a whole heap of rumors about where the game might be set – including London, South America, and even Las Vegas – it seems as if GTA 6 will take players back to Vice City. The Miami-inspired location has popped up in quite a few leaks, and while the original map was big for its time, Rockstar could be going even bigger this time around. Back in late 2018, a satellite shot of what appears to be the GTA 6 map surfaced online, but it lacked key details like points of interest, shop markers, and more. Some players immediately dismissed it as a photoshop, but given how the Red Dead Redemption 2 map leaked way ahead of its time in a similar fashion, some fans have always believed it’s real. Now, a similar image has resurfaced with a few more details in the form of roads and showing off the southern part of the map. Previously, only the northeastern part of the map – which looks incredibly like Vice City – had leaked, but now there’s an extension to that. While some fans are still hoping it’s real, there are plenty of skeptics. “Looks more like a Just Cause map than a GTA one,” said one fan. “Something looks off about it. The actual render looks really blurry,” added another. There’s no way to determine if the map is real or fake, but like other GTA 6 rumors, it’s one that just won’t go away.
