What era should GTA 6 be set in? Everything we know There are a lot of questions surrounding the release of GTA 6. One of those questions is what time period will Grand Theft Auto 6 be set in? Rockstar still silent Rockstar has yet to confirm anything GTA 6 related or even confirm its existence. While it seems absolutely certain that a new Grand Theft Auto game is only a matter of time away, after all, GTA is essentially a money printing machine – we are still awaiting some form of confirmation. Read More: When is GTA 6 coming out? Rumors, release date, story and more for the next Grand Theft Auto game – Where will it be set, the release date and what new features it will offer are just some of the GTA 6 questions that remain unanswered. With that said though, let’s focus on what time period we can expect GTA 6 to be set in. GTA 6 time period 1980s We can almost guess the time period based on where Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set. The problem with that is, we don’t know where it will be set either. One of the stronger rumors for a GTA 6 location is Vice City, Miami. Long time fans will know this map is home to one of the most popular GTA games in franchise history: GTA Vice City. Interestingly, GTA IV’s map was a remake of Liberty City from GTA 3. This has led some to believe that GTA Vice City is the next game’s map to get a remake. Should Rockstar opt to go with Miami, and keep the 1980s theme, this would be a bold decision. The hype surrounding GTA 6, especially as we get closer, is going to be as big as anything we’ve seen in the video game industry before. As a result, going with anything but a modern day setting seemingly presents risks. Current day Consequently, Rockstar may go with a cautious approach for its big introduction to the next generation of consoles. This allows them to utilize today’s technology such as the internet and mobile phones, while also being able to use today’s super cars. One option that hasn’t been discussed, is the possibility of Vice City reappearing but set now. The alternatives for the current day would have to be a unique setting as it’s unlikely Liberty City will be made again. Furthermore, it wouldn’t make sense to do another California based game a la Los Santos. The future Setting games in the future is risky business, just ask Call of Duty. Games such as Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare received plenty of backlash from fans who prefer games to stick to their classic and simple roots. This alone probably means a future setting for GTA 6 is unlikely. Even so, it can’t be ruled out completely. What era is most likely? A current day Grand Theft Auto 6 game is most likely purely from a risk perspective. The aforementioned modern day Vice City would tick a lot of boxes. If Rockstar does decide, or already has, to go back to the 1980s then Vice City would be the overwhelmingly likely scenario. Read More: Where will the GTA 6 map be based? Biggest map ever rumored for next Grand Theft Auto location – Elsewhere, there have also been rumors of GTA 6 actually incorporating the entirety of the United States. How this would affect the time period of the game is anyone’s guess. Rumors and speculation will continue until Rockstar announce something official about GTA 6. A PS5 announcement is expected this year but don’t hold your breath on the next Grand Theft Auto game.

GTA 6 engine features game-changing weather system and realistic car crashes: report – Dexerto
GTA 6 engine features game-changing weather system and realistic car crashes: report gamerficialA new report about GTA 6’s RAGE engine has revealed new details about the long-awaited title including some of the game’s new features. GTA 6 has become of of the most anticipated games of all time, despite not even being officially announced, and a new report could help explain why it’s taken so long for the game to release. Rockstar Games’ RAGE engine is set to get a massive upgrade, even larger than the one it received going from GTA 5 to Red Dead Redemption 2, according to Rockstar Mag. In the new report, it’s alleged that this iteration of the RAGE engine will include revamped physics, realistic time management, better AI and more. GTA 6 to include realistic vehicle crash physics According to Rockstar Mag’s sources, the graphics gap will be much bigger than prior projects by the developer and there are some big upgrades being worked on pertaining to physics. The Grand Theft Auto series wouldn’t be the same without vehicles, and for GTA VI, Rockstar has reportedly made many changes from GTA 5. “Many improvements have been made to vehicle physics thanks to a significant increase in the number of polygons compared to GTA 5. This will allow for more precise deformations, and therefore by extension, more realistic accidents,” the report states. GTA 6 leak reveals game-changing weather GTA 6 will also reportedly feature big advancements to water physics and lighting, which, given the game’s setting of Vice City being a stand-in for Miami, is a big deal when it comes to realism. These enhancements all come together in the form of a real weather system that will impact the game world by making it more difficult to drive in a storm among other factors. “The gusts will damage the vegetation and create waves which will disrupt the peace and quiet of beach occupants. Rain and wind will impact your handling while traveling at high speed. Sunrises and sunsets will be more realistic than ever and nights more disturbing,” the report claims. Interestingly, back in 2021, a job listing by Rockstar hinted that GTA 6 will feature “large-scale destruction” and new weather systems, so it seems like the two could be connected. As for when players will get a chance to try out these new gameplay features themselves, although Rockstar still hasn’t even uploaded a trailer for GTA 6, comments from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick have suggested that the game will be released as early as 2024. Until then, be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest news and rumors about GTA 6.

GTA 6 Easter Eggs leaked: Bigfoot, Pennywise, UFOs & more secrets – Dexerto
GTA 6 Easter Eggs leaked: Bigfoot, Pennywise, UFOs & more secrets Rockstar GamesWhile GTA 6 isn’t even out yet, some fans have already uncovered a handful of Easter Eggs that are set to appear in-game, including the return of Bigfoot, UFOs, and more. It’s been a few weeks since the GTA 6 leaks hit the internet and confirmed the long-standing rumors that the game – which will take fans back to Vice City – has been in development for a number of years now. Amongst the 90 leaked videos, it was revealed that the protagonists are a male and female duo, and you have the ability to steal from NPCs just like in Red Dead Redemption 2. Though, some players are more focused on the Easter Eggs and what secrets GTA 6 may hold. And, a few have already been uncovered by the looks of things. GTA 6 Easter Eggs apparently uncovered already Grand Theft Auto YouTuber StrangeMan put together a video of 10 apparent confirmed Easter Eggs that are in GTA 6, including a few familiar ones that have been in GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption. The most familiar of them are the UFOs, Bigfoot, and a Sphinx carved into the sand. These can all be traced back to GTA 5, where UFOs flew high above Mount Chiliad, Bigfoot could be spotted in the surrounding areas, and a Shark was built on the beach by NPCs. As per StrangeMan, Bigfoot though won’t be called Bigfoot. Instead, it’s known as ‘Skunk Ape’ and will appear in the Swamplands of GTA 6’s map. However, we trust GTA fans to just stick with the more familiar name. In the video, the YouTuber noted that there is also a reference to Pennywise the Clown from the horror movie IT – with a voice set to ring out from drains. Of course, these are just a selection of the Easter Eggs that are set to have a part in GTA 6, but Rockstar will likely put hundreds, if not more, into the highly-anticipated game. We can’t wait to uncover them.

GTA 6 devs hit out at Rockstar for “broken promises” over crunching – Dexerto
GTA 6 devs hit out at Rockstar for “broken promises” over crunching Rockstar GamesRockstar Games devs have hit out at their bosses for ‘forcing’ them to return to being full-time in the office ahead of the final stretch of work on GTA 6. For years, Grand Theft Auto fans were left to search for clues and listen to many a fake ‘leak’ about GTA 6 as Rockstar and their publisher, Take-Two, remained silent about their plans for the highly-anticipated game. There have been a few big leaks that have turned out to be real, however. In September 2022, hundreds of development videos surfaced, showing off some new mechanics, a look at the main characters – Lucia and Jason – and a few other things. On top of that, the first GTA 6 trailer was leaked hours before it was supposed to go live. With the game entering the final stages of development, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reported that Rockstar have urged their development teams to return to the office, citing security concerns about further GTA 6 leaks – which Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said affected team morale. Rockstar devs furious at office working return for final GTA 6 work However, those devs aren’t pleased, especially as they fear that the crunch that plagued previous releases will return with the end of GTA 6’s development. “After so many broken promises we now fear management may even be paving the way for a return to toxic ‘crunch’ practices. Senior leadership need to rethink their reckless decision making and engage with their staff to find an arrangement that works for everyone,” one Rockstar dev told the Independent Workers Union of Great Britain. “As usual, there has been zero consultation with us: the people who these policy changes most affect. Just one of my concerns is being forced to work late hours in the office to maintain contact with global teams when before we could log on from home to attend late meetings,” another added. On top of having health issues that make a permanent return to the office difficult, some workers also noted that Rockstar had previously promised a flexible approach to working from home. This has also seemingly been broken with the urge for a five-day office working request. We still don’t have a release date for GTA 6, either, with Rockstar just saying it’ll release in 2025.

GTA 6 devs fuming after trailer leak robs them of the official launch they “deserved” – Dexerto
GTA 6 devs fuming after trailer leak robs them of the official launch they “deserved” Rockstar GamesThe GTA 6 trailer leaked online hours ahead of its official unveiling, leading game developers at Rockstar to take to social media to express their disappointment at the unexpected reveal of the game. The much anticipated GTA 6 trailer has finally arrived. However, rather than doing so on their own time, developer Rockstar was left to scramble after the first trailer leaked online earlier than planned. Following this, the devs have been expressing their frustration online at the leak for what is already one of the biggest video game trailers of all time. After the GTA 6 trailer was leaked early, Rockstar was quick to officially launch it themselves, though this was clearly not the initial plan, with the company having set a date well in advance, one they ultimately didn’t hit due to the leaks. In light of this, many of the developers who have been focusing their time and efforts on the game have taken to social media, many of whom were disappointed at the leak and frustrated that such a major moment for them was taken away. GTA 6 devs frustrated by early leak of first trailer Javier Altman, a senior gameplay animator for Rockstar, took to Twitter to reveal his disappointment at the trailer leak. Stating, “I was hoping to watch this for the first time tomorrow along with my fellow teammates and coworkers. I feel we deserved that moment. “This f***ing sucks,” he then followed up. Another Rockstar developer also took to Twitter to share the trailer while also captioning the post, “Enjoy, folks. Would have been nice to do this with all of you at the same time.” Other devs have simply posted smaller updates on their social media threads, with QA tester Dan Willey simply writing “sigh” on his Twitter thread in response to the GTA 6 leak. For all the latest GTA 6 news and updates, be sure to check out Dexerto’s full coverage here.

GTA 6 dev accidentally leaks list of possible new weapons including a chainsaw – Dexerto
GTA 6 dev accidentally leaks list of possible new weapons including a chainsaw TwitchA Rockstar Games employee has accidentally leaked their involvement on GTA 6 and revealed an assortment of new details about the upcoming game. GTA 6 is easily one of the most anticipated games of all time, but Rockstar has remained quite mum on details despite announcing the title was in development. Although leaks have confirmed a return to Vice City, the introduction of a female protagonist, and a variety of other gameplay updates, fans are still waiting for Rockstar to unveil an official trailer. As they wait, however, some Rockstar employees have shared their work on GTA VI through LinkedIn and one new update seems to even suggest that the next Grand Theft Auto will see the return of chainsaws. Rockstar Games employee accidentally leaks GTA 6 details On LinkedIn, ‘Sayan Saha’ a 2D/UI designer updated his bio to include references to GTA 6 and shared his involvement in the game. Although he ended up deleting portions about GTA 6, screenshots of the bio prior to its edit have surfaced revealing his work on the game. According to the bio, he worked on over “500 in-game 2D assets for GTA VI” including over 25 “unique brands.” Interestingly, his work also includes labels on items and listed off chainsaws, fire extinguishers, electric boards, boat motors, and car engines. This seems to suggest that GTA 6 will include chainsaws and fire extinguishers as weapons, which could be very fun to wield against NPCs or players in GTA Online 2. The dev further noted how he worked on signage, generic clutter such as certificates and forms, and items that appear in interior areas. “All of these were crafted systematically, going from one interior level to another, adding great detail and immersion to GTA VI,” he added. Hopefully, it won’t be long until players can see these features in action, especially as we inch closer to the rumored 2024 launch of GTA 6.

GTA 6 dev accidentally leaks big features after delay worries – Dexerto
GTA 6 dev accidentally leaks big features after delay worries Rockstar GamesA GTA 6 dev has accidentally leaked some details about Rockstar’s recent work on the long-awaited game, confirming some big features and how far down the line development is. At the end of 2023, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that GTA 6 was, in fact, real by dropping a trailer for the highly-anticipated next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. Since then, Rockstar and Take-Two – their publishers – have remained quiet on things despite promising some updates. There have been rumors that the game, which is set to release in 2025, could be pushed back to 2026 amid development issues. However, it appears on track for 2025. Rockstar recently urged their development teams across the globe to return to office working rather than working from home over security issues. Yet, leaks are still getting out. That includes a recent leak from a developer at Rockstar’s main office – Rockstar North in Edinburgh – who revealed some of the details about recent work that is being done on GTA 6. In the small screenshot, the work instructions for the dev team show that they’re “finalizing the weather dynamic, particularly thunderstorms.” This includes work on “NPC behavior and activities” that change depending on the weather. In previous GTA titles, as soon as rain started, the streets would be empty. In GTA 6, however, it appears as if things should be a little more populated. On top of that, the dev’s instructions show that they’ve been working on bug fixes for “J+L”, which is seemingly referring to Jason and Lucia – the two protagonists of the GTA 6 story. The mention of 40 hours has been picked up by some fans as an apparent nod to the length of the story. However, it appears as if it is just how long is needed for bug fixes from each dev.

GTA 6 details leaked by source who correctly predicted PS5 – Dexerto
GTA 6 details leaked by source who correctly predicted PS5 After years of speculation, we may finally have some credible GTA 6 information. A leaker who correctly predicted the PS5 specs has also revealed some Grand Theft Auto 6 information. GTA 6 release date Estimates had ranged from 2019 to 2022 for an eventual GTA 6 release. Of course, we can almost certainly rule out 2019 now, but this leaker has stated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will probably release in late 2020. If true, this is a huge revelation meaning possibly one of the biggest releases in gaming history is less than two years away. The terminology used, “GTA 6 Holiday 2020 most probably” suggests the leaker doesn’t have any concrete information. However, it does at least confirm its existence. While this was a certainty given the incredible success of GTA 5, it is good to finally have it acknowledged from a somewhat credible source. The date does seem a little early considering how quiet Rockstar have been. With that said, a holiday 2020 release date would line up nicely with the PS5. It would be a very astute business decision to release the PS5 and GTA 6 close together. PS5, not PS4 Additionally the leaker states they are “not hearing anything PS4 related”. This can be interpreted as both good and bad news depending on whether you will be getting a PS5. A release purely on next generation consoles will allow developers to maximize the game and hardware’s potential. However, it will disappoint some of the 90 million PS4 users who aren’t intending to upgrade to a PS5 once it’s released. PlayStation 5 exclusivity Perhaps the biggest revelation from the leak, at least in terms of surprise, is that Sony are trying to get a period of GTA 6 exclusivity. Unsurprisingly, obtaining this would be very costly for Sony with the leaker stating, “hearing that Sony is paying huge money to secure 1 month time exclusive for PS5.” If true, and Sony are successful in obtaining the exclusivity period, this would send seismic waves through the gaming industry. It would give the PS5 an even bigger advantage than it is expected to have already. Grand Theft Auto 6 location The most speculated upon element of GTA 6 is where the game will be based. New York, Miami, another California based game, or even London, have been rumored. The leaker states they have been hearing rumors that it’ll be based in Miami and New York. It is interesting that “and” is used here suggesting the game will have two primary locations. The leaker does caveat this particular bit of information saying, “I’m not sure if thats 100% true.” Believable leak? It does seem strange that an apparently random person can have so much information regarding GTA 6. The only secret Rockstar don’t keep is that their intellectual property is highly secured and that leaks rarely come out. Read More: What era should GTA 6 be set in? – However, given this leaker was able to accurately predict the PS5 specs and be correct on a host of other PS5 related information, it is certainly worth absorbing this leak. The leak gained further credit on April 18, when a former Rockstar employee had listed GTA 6 work on their resume. Specifically, the Junior Vehicle Artist stated, “Create concept vehicles matching with real world for GTA 5 DLC and upcoming GTA 6.” This by no means proves GTA 6’s existence as the resume could be fake. It does add further credence to this leak, however. Last updated April 22, 2019

GTA 6 could reportedly be delayed to 2026 as development “falls behind” – Dexerto
GTA 6 could reportedly be delayed to 2026 as development “falls behind” Take-Two InteractiveNew reports claim that Rockstar still targets a 2025 launch for GTA 6, but a delay is on the table with development “falling behind.” GTA 6 currently boasts a nebulous 2025 release, as confirmed at the end of its first trailer. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have yet to narrow down the launch window, though. Still, recent reports lifted the veil on the project’s final stretch, with Bloomberg reporting in February that Rockstar was mandating developers return to office in April. Now another report sheds light on why the studio may be adamant about employees working on-site. Rockstar staffers speaking under the condition of anonymity to Aftermath recently said many developers feel blindsided by the return-to-office mandate. Meanwhile, others worry Rockstar will fall back into unhealthy crunch practices. Kotaku spoke to sources who divulged that quality and security concerns are driving the decision. The sources further claimed development on GTA 6 is “falling behind,” leaving Rockstar leads to worry that they’ll have no choice but to delay the eagerly-anticipated game. For now, the next GTA entry still targets a 2025 launch window, with leadership aiming to release it early in the year. But, apparently, Kotaku’s sources believe a fall 2025 rollout is much more feasible. A delay to 2026 isn’t out of the question, however; such a possibility currently constitutes a “fallback plan” or an “emergency” course of action if absolutely necessary.

GTA 6 countdown livestream trolls fans waiting on reveal from Rockstar – Dexerto
GTA 6 countdown livestream trolls fans waiting on reveal from Rockstar TwitchGrand Theft Auto fans eagerly awaiting news about GTA 6 are ready to eat up just about anything, so when a livestream entitled ‘GTAVI’ with a countdown and logo appeared on Twitch, there was immediate excitement. Fans have been anticipating some kind of announcement or teaser from Rockstar throughout March, as supposed leakers suggested March 25 as the day GTA 6 would be unveiled. Of course, this date came and went with no announcement, leaving the hopefuls confused and disappointed. Only days later, and an unexpected Twitch channel called GTAVI came online, complete with a logo and countdown timer. Viewers came and went to the stream, as it was shared around on social media. The creator had clearly pulled out all the stops to make it seem legitimate too. The description linked to Rockstar’s website, and had promotions for linking your Twitch and Rockstar account. “Welcome to our official Grand Theft Auto VI Twitch Channel,” the description reads, “throughout the next coming days we’ll be broadcasting announcements and sneak peaks live through the power of Twitch!” Small errors, like the misspelling of ‘peeks’ here, and the lack of a verified badge on the channel, clearly indicate that this is not a real, official livestream at all, but simply a fan creation. But, the biggest troll of all is the countdown itself, as it takes us right up to April fool’s day. It appears the creator of this livestream is hoping to get eager GTA 6 fans hyped up and attract lots of attention for when the countdown finally ends, only to pull a big April Fool’s joke. However, the information used to make the stream seem real, is clearly based on prior leaks about the next Grand Theft Auto. Many theories suggest a return to Vice City is likely, for example. On March 28, actor Jorge Consejo seemingly confirmed that the game was in development after ‘Grand Theft Auto VI (2018) was spotted on his CV. His role was simply titled ‘The Mexican.’ Officially, however, there is absolutely no confirmation that Rockstar are even working on another GTA game. Publisher Take-Two did say that new releases from their biggest franchises were in development, but GTA was never explicitly mentioned. For now, we only have leaks to go off. We’ve put together a list of the most believable GTA 6 leaks so far here.

GTA 6 could be “70% done” according to Rockstar insider – Dexerto
GTA 6 could be “70% done” according to Rockstar insider Rockstar GamesFollowing reports that the next Grand Theft Auto game was still in “early development,” a reliable insider has rubbished those claims, instead stating that they’ve heard GTA 6 is up to 70% finished. In a series of interviews Rockstar employees gave to Kotaku, it was revealed that the studio is apparently taking a different approach to the development of their next game, after the extreme crunch that plagued Red Dead Redemption 2. The most notable point of the report for fans, however, was that the game was apparently still in “early development,” meaning the next GTA is likely years and years away. This came as a surprise to some, while others thought it realistic because of the heavy load Red Dead Redemption 2 would have put on the studio as a whole. But, Rockstar is a massive developer with studios around the world, and according to reliable insider Tez2, he’s heard much differently about the progress on GTA 6. He previously stated that he’s heard the game is actually around halfway complete, and has now expanded upon this claim. “[Jason Schreier] saying [GTA 6 is in early development] is likely a mistake,” Tez2 said on GTAForums. “I’m positive it already passed early stages of development.” He continues, claiming he’s heard that the game is in fact “60% to 70% done from what I have heard.” Realistically, no one knows exactly what stage the game is at other than the developers themselves, but Tez2 has a proven track record of reliable information about Rockstar over a number of years. So far, neither Rockstar nor Take-Two (the game’s publisher) have confirmed what they are working on, so predictions at this stage are purely speculative. With RDR2 released in October 2018, it’s logical that Rockstar have been hard at work on a new game since then, but some resources will also have been given over to both GTA Online and Red Dead Online, both of which still have large player bases. If you’re itching for more Grand Theft Auto though, check out our list of the most believable GTA 6 leaks so far.

SAG-AFTRA video game actors strike for protection against AI – Dexerto
SAG-AFTRA video game actors strike for protection against AI Take-Two InteractiveSAG-AFTRA have announced that video game actors under their umbrella will be striking to fight for better protections against AI, with some of the biggest publishers and developers in gaming being affected. The strike has been ordered against studios working toward finding AI solutions to replace actual actors, with the list including some of the biggest companies in gaming. Parties affected by the strike order include publishers like Take 2 and Activision, as well as developers like Insomniac and WB Games. However, it’s since been clarified by Audrey Cooling, a spokesperson for publishers involved in the dispute, that any game in development before September 2023 in an email to Kotaku. This means that big games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and GTA 6 will be exempt. While it’s important to bear in mind that voice and motion capture acting for these projects is sometimes be performed years ahead of release, there are also games yet to be unannounced that will run into friction as a result of these strikes. And, while SAG-AFTRA did concede that the companies that are being struck against were willing to find middle ground on many of the concerns they raised, the strike came down to one of just 25 demands falling through, according to a report by journalist Stephen Totilo. That one point of conflict resulted in the strike, with multiple SAG-AFTRA members citing protections from AI as a necessary part of bringing talent onto video game projects. “We’re not going to consent to a contract that allows companies to abuse A.I. to the detriment of our members,” said SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher. “Enough is enough. When these companies get serious about offering an agreement our members can live — and work — with, we will be here, ready to negotiate.” SAG-AFTRA’s National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, expressed his disappointment that a deal couldn’t be reached. However, he wasn’t clear about what exactly caused this rift despite most of the negotiations going well. “Frankly, it’s stunning that these video game studios haven’t learned anything from the lessons of last year – that our members can and will stand up and demand fair and equitable treatment with respect to A.I., and the public supports us in that.” The SAG-AFTRA site has a resource that allows people to search which games are on strike notice, though this won’t be of much help with unannounced titles unless you’ve got the game’s production ID. There are developers and publishers that are cleared, but those looking to work with SAG actors will have to sign new, SAG-AFTRA-approved interim agreements that come with protections.

GTA 6 Chicago city rumors brought to life by insane GTA 5 mod – Dexerto
GTA 6 Chicago city rumors brought to life by insane GTA 5 mod Patreon: FvdesignA group of modders are taking tools for Grand Theft Auto V and using them to build up a replica of Chicago amid rumors that the midwest city could be a location for GTA 6. [jwplayer M2iRw99J] Over the years, Rockstar Games has whisked players to interesting locations with their games, and especially when it comes to Grand Theft Auto. These locations are, always based on a real city – see New York for Liberty City, Miami for Vice City, and Los Angeles for Los Santos – and have their own GTA spin attached with hilarious names, references, and everything else. With GTA V being the newest, and most realistic, some players have used to show off a modern take on classic maps like San Andreas. However, others are building completely new locations instead. GTA V Chicago mod That includes modder Filip Vogleš, who alongside some friends, has been building Chicago as a playable mod for Grand Theft Auto V. The mod, which currently only available for Vogleš’s Patreons, sees parts of the city’s iconic downtown and skyscrapers added to the GTA V engine. That includes bridges to cross parts of the Chicago River, the Crain Communications Building, and even the L-Train that runs through the city. With the train playing such a key part in getting around Chicago, the modder has taken the train that rattled around Liberty City in GTA IV and GTA III, to give it a really authentic feel. Even though the mod is not available to the public yet, it should spark some excitement and theories from GTA fans, especially as Chicago was mentioned in some early GTA 6 leaks. The city hasn’t been used in a video game since the original Watch Dogs back in 2014, and it is pretty perfect for a game like GTA. We’ll just have to see if what Rockstar has lined up for GTA 6 is better than what Vogleš turns GTA V into.

GTA 6 character and internal name potentially leaked by voice actor – Dexerto
GTA 6 character and internal name potentially leaked by voice actor Rockstar GamesGTA 6’s codename has seemingly been leaked by an actress who has also revealed the name of a character that she has apparently voiced. When it comes to confirmed details about GTA 6, at this stage, we only know that it is in development. After years of silence, Rockstar Games have at least given us that nugget of information. Outside of that, fans of the iconic sandbox franchise have had to rely on leaks and apparent insiders to build up some expectations about the game. At this point, it looks as if a return to Vice City is on the cards and that there will be two main characters – a brother and sister pairing who may or may not be involved with a cartel. On top of that, some details have snuck out from people who have apparently worked on the game, including actors – with the one character being known as ‘The Mexican’. Though, it appears as if we have another. GTA 6 codename and female character seemingly revealed The find was made by members of the GTAForums site on July 15, as they uncovered the resume of voice actress Natonia Monet. While the actress’s resume has been updated since the find, what sparked interest was the reference to a video game by the name of ‘Fireball’ and a character named ‘Tamara’. What seemingly ties the find to Grand Theft Auto, is that the agency that the actress got the gig through have links to Rockstar Games. On top of that, the listing was removed from her resume after fans made the connection to GTA 6 – with Fireball likely being the internal codename for the highly-anticipated title, rather than outright calling it GTA 6 from the get-go. Naturally, with anything GTA 6-related, some fans remain highly skeptical about things and aren’t totally convinced. Though there appears to be something about this one, given how it was taken off the actress’s resume. With some insiders claiming that the game will, finally, be revealed before the year is out, we might not have to wait all that long before we get some answers.

GTA 6 can wait: GTA San Andreas VR game is in development – Dexerto
GTA 6 can wait: GTA San Andreas VR game is in development Rockstar GamesRockstar’s classic open-world franchise will make its official virtual reality debut with GTA San Andreas coming to Oculus Quest. Announced at the showcase event Games To Connect, the Oculus team has revealed that the company has been collaborating with Rockstar Games to bring Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to the Oculus Quest 2. This partnership reinforces the commitment to older games that Rockstar has displayed by porting their older titles to new consoles, as well as the release of the new GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. Here is everything we know about this new collaboration and what to expect from it. GTA San Andreas in development for Oculus Quest 2 pic.twitter.com/fGi4Ol1fn2 — Wario64 (@Wario64) October 28, 2021 GTA San Andreas coming to VR through Oculus Quest 2 The statement made at Connect 2021 indicates that the Facebook-adjacent Oculus team and Rockstar Games have been working on this for quite some time. “Today at Connect, we announced that the Rockstar Games classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is in development for Quest 2. Get a new perspective on Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas as you experience (again or for the first time) one of gaming’s most iconic open worlds. This is a project many years in the making, and we can’t wait to show you more of it.” Things are moving fast for Rockstar these days, as this announcement coincides with some interesting comments from Snoop Dogg about an upcoming Grand Theft Auto game and Dr. Dre’s involvement with the soundtrack. Speaking to Rolling Stone about his frequent collaborator’s new music, Snoop seemed to think that it was tied directly to the studio’s next game: “So I think that that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game” Whether these comments are tied to GTA 6 or to an updated soundtrack for the California-inspired San Andreas remains to be seen. GTA 6 breaks industry record for Rockstar and we haven’t seen it yet – Dexerto
GTA 6 breaks industry record for Rockstar and we haven’t seen it yet Rockstar GamesRockstar Games has already broken an industry record with Grand Theft Auto 6 and the game hasn’t even been revealed yet. After months of waiting for an update, Rockstar finally confirmed back in February that the “next entry” was in development. Leaker claims to reveal GTA 6 announcement trailer details – Dexerto
Leaker claims to reveal GTA 6 announcement trailer details Rockstar Games/Twitter/CasanovaThe long-awaited GTA 6 announcement trailer might finally be coming soon according to a YouTuber who correctly leaked details about one of the game’s main characters. Rockstar has remained quiet on details about GTA 6 for quite some time. Despite only revealing that development on the game was underway, information about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title has steadily leaked. Rumors about the game returning to Vice City and featuring a female protagonist were proven to be true after early footage of GTA VI surfaced following a major hack. Now, with fans anxiously awaiting an official announcement by Rockstar, a potential insider has shared information about what fans can expect to see in the game’s first trailer. GTA 6 leak reveals possible trailer details According to Brazilian YouTuber ‘SanInPlay,’ the upcoming GTA 6 trailer will include some important story details about one of its main characters, Lucia. In a tweet, San described details from the trailer including dogs playing on a beach, a lizard crossing the street and, most interestingly, Lucia in prison exercising. Lucia has been confirmed to be one of the two playable protagonists alongside a potential love interest in Jason. A Bloomberg report from July claimed that the duo are influenced heavily by bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde. As such, it would make sense if she began GTA 6’s story behind bars and had to break out. However, the leaker didn’t elaborate on any additional details. The big question is, can we trust this leak? Well, prior to the big GTA 6 gameplay hack, San leaked Lucia’s name and correctly said that she is Latina, adding some credibility to these claims. It’s not clear when this trailer will actually debut, but it’s important to note that Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is scheduled to release its third-quarter earnings call on February 6, 2023. Will the GTA 6 trailer finally debut before then? We won’t have long to wait and see if this recent leak ends up being true or not.

GTA 6 announcement date possibly teased in Diamond Heist update – Dexerto
GTA 6 announcement date possibly teased in Diamond Heist update Fans eagerly anticipating the launch of the next Grand Theft Auto game think they have discovered a potential announcement date for GTA 6, hiding in GTA Online after the Diamond Heist update. It is difficult to remember a game that is more anticipated than Grand Theft Auto 6. The last GTA installment was released in 2013 to critical acclaim, and is still being supported by developers Rockstar. In fact, it is in the latest update for Grand Theft Auto V that fans believe they have found a hint at an announcement date for the sequel. The Diamond Casino Heist update was released on December 12, and some potential clues have been spotted. Reddit user ‘TheFirmWare’ posted their theory on December 14, which utilizes another fan’s theory about a bizarre design choice from Rockstar. A photo taken during the Diamond Casino Heist previously gained traction on Reddit, after users speculated potential reasons behind splitting up the word ‘Service’. This meant the word ‘Vice’ was more obvious, which many fans linked to Vice City, the speculated location for GTA 6. “On the left side of the wall we can see DIAMOND written on top, and 510 on the bottom. If we put the bottom portions together we get “510 VICE”,” the post reads. “Someone mentioned in the comments that they heard Madam Nazar (added in the new update) saying “I see numbers, 5, 1, 0, 2, 0”,” it continued. “If we merge this with the previous finding, we get 5th October 2020 or 5/10/2020.” They then substantiate their argument with an analysis of the release dates of past Rockstar Games, all of which occurred in the final quarter of the years. “GTA 5 Trailer 1 was released 2/11/2011, GTA 5 Trailer 2 was released 14/11/2012,” they finished. “RDR2 Trailer 1 was released 20/10/2016, RDR2 Trailer 2 was released 28/09/2017. So as we can see, the first few trailers of recent new Rockstar games release in Q4 of the year, which correlates with the 5/10/2020 date.” They conclude by stating that this is merely a speculative theory, and is unconfirmed unless Rockstar state otherwise. It is possible that the Reddit user has stumbled across an easter egg in GTA V, that Rockstar deliberately implemented to hint at a future announcement. However, Rockstar are known to intentionally tease fans, and it would not be completely far-fetched to suggest that it is deliberately misleading; intended to peddle fan anticipation for GTA 6.

GTA 6 reportedly a “500 hour” game with multiple continents to explore – Dexerto
GTA 6 reportedly a “500 hour” game with multiple continents to explore Rockstar GamesGTA 6 could be shaping up as the biggest entry in the franchise according to gaming industry analyst Michael Pachter who claims the map will feature multiple continents with up to “500 hours” of content. With GTA 6 now officially in development, rumors and speculation have only continued to ramp up. While still no release date is in sight, that hasn’t stopped everything from alleged features to supposed map leaks appearing online. The exact scope of the upcoming sequel remains unknown, but multiple teasers from Rockstar have implied GTA 6 will be a “special” game. On the back of those comments, veteran analyst Pachter may have just revealed what makes the next project so ambitious. Not only will it supposedly feature multiple continents for players to explore, but the game is also shaping up to be a whopping “400-500 hour” experience, according to Pachter. Despite confirmation of its existence only just coming through in 2022, Pachter claims GTA 6 has “been in development” for at least eight years already. While more of Rockstar’s global workforce may have only joined the project recently, he believes early talks began in 2014, just one year following the release of GTA 5. This lengthy development timeline is purely due to the game’s scope, he explained. “My understanding is that it is a mashup of Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City, and Europe. London for sure.” Various reports in previous years have suggested a range of locations may be included. Vice City, for instance, has surfaced as a likely setting multiple times, though Pachter’s mention of Europe appears to be a first. With such an expansive map, players will allegedly be able to “go anywhere” on the listed continents. “You’re going to have missions that take you all those places,” he said. Given its scope, GTA 6 could provide hundreds of hours of content. From its core narrative to its broader open-world activities, Pachter claimed fans could be in store for up to 500 hours of gameplay. Obviously, it’s worth taking these bold claims with a grain of salt for the time being. Until we hear confirmation on the setting of GTA 6, nothing is yet guaranteed. Though if multiple continents are indeed in focus, it would no doubt be one of the largest open-world games to date.

GTA 6 2026 delay rumors debunked after community panics over conflicting reports – Dexerto
GTA 6 2026 delay rumors debunked after community panics over conflicting reports Rockstar GamesRumors that GTA 6 had been delayed to 2026 have been debunked after the community was torn over conflicting reports. On September 7, Grand Theft Auto community member ‘billsyliamgta’ tweeted that Rockstar had reportedly decided internally to postpone GTA 6 a full year. The user, who claimed to have spoken to multiple devs across two studios, said that GTA 6 would, instead, be released in early-mid 2026 instead of Fall 2025 as originally planned. Unsurprisingly, this claim instantly went viral, amassing nearly 4M views and rattling the community as it awaits more info about GTA VI and a second trailer. “I’m really getting pissed off with rockstar here man what’s the point of releasing a trailer if it’s not gonna release for another 2 years,” one fan replied to the rumors. “This is insane. I’m giving up all hope,” said another. Others remained skeptical and decided to wait for a statement from Rockstar before they’d join in on the panic train. Luckily, two days later, journalist Jason Schreier, who first broke news about when Rockstar would reveal GTA 6, chimed in after speaking with devs and confirmed that no delay is planned. “The internet (and my DMs) blew up this weekend over a rumor that GTA VI is delayed. Good news is that six Rockstar employees all told me they have not heard of any delay,” he said. However, he wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a delay down the line, especially considering we’re still over a year away from the Fall 2025 release window. “Bad news: it’s a big, ambitious game and could very well slip! Too much time left to say anything definitive.” This isn’t the only big GTA 6 rumor to surface in September, either. The same day the claim about the delay was made, Musician Martyn Ware alleged that Rockstar had offered him $7,500 to put Heaven 17’s 1983 hit, ‘Temptation’, in the game. Ware found the offer insulting, referencing how GTA 5 made over $8B. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for GTA 6, especially with a second trailer rumored to arrive before the end of the year and players anxiously awaiting an official gameplay reveal.

GTA 5’s source code reportedly leaked with GTA 6 and Bully 2 details – Dexerto
GTA 5’s source code reportedly leaked with GTA 6 and Bully 2 details Rockstar GamesYet another video game developer has had a security breach, this time with the full GTA 5 source code allegedly being leaked. Additionally, early skims of the files have revealed there may be details on GTA 6 and Bully 2 contained within. Rockstar has had a hard time with leakers and hackers in recent times. Between GTA 6 getting confirmed much earlier than intended to the various leaks surrounding the title in the leadup to its formal announcement, it’s been hard for the developer to keep projects under wraps. Now, the full source code for GTA 5 has been allegedly leaked online. It appears to be source code from the 2022 version of the game, meaning there’s a good chance it’s connected to the 2022 hack that originally leaked GTA 6’s first gameplay. From those who have skimmed the files so far, it appears that files pertaining to both GTA 6 and a yet unannounced Bully 2 are contained in the depths of the source code. GTA 6 and Bully 2 details contained in GTA 5 leak According to GTA Focal, the source code was originally leaked to the public via a Discord message. The message contained a link to download the GTA 5 source code, a link that was quickly taken down. However, those who got the link have already shared it around via a download link on Tor, AKA The Onion Browser, a browser often used to anonymously and directly send data over the dark web. It seems the floodgates have opened and it’ll be difficult to keep the contents of that folder from spreading around more than they already have. It’s since been confirmed that GTA 6 was at one point codenamed “Project Americas”, something that was reported by Bloomberg prior, and that a file pertaining to Bully 2 was contained within this folder. Further details on both games have yet to be discovered. All of that information is buried within the massive amount of data for GTA 5 that’s allegedly contained within the source code including early builds and maps of the game and cut content. Rockstar have yet to comment on this leak and the contents of the folder that’s making the rounds, but fans of both Rockstar IPs have been abuzz with speculation in relation to finally getting some news about a much-loved franchise. However, while the idea that Bully 2 may be coming has excited many Rockstar fans, there are also some huge problems that the developer will have to overcome if the game’s source code has really been made public, including but not limited to possible security concerns with GTA Online.

GTA 5’s Ned Luke furious as AI clones make “racist rants” to get him canceled – Dexerto
GTA 5’s Ned Luke furious as AI clones make “racist rants” to get him canceled Rockstar GamesGTA 5 actor Ned Luke is irate in light of AI copycats spreading falsified videos, some of which allegedly include “racist rants,” all in attempt to get him canceled on social media. In an age where AI is only becoming more prevalent, discerning between the authentic and the fake is becoming increasingly more difficult. While some are fighting back with widespread strikes, there are still countless victims as shockingly realistic AI impressions gain traction. One such victim is Michael De Santa actor Ned Luke, who recently exploded on X (formerly Twitter) as a result of these targeted AI clones. Calling them “f***ing bulls***,” the actor explained how recent copycat material has circulated fake videos and audio recordings. While he’s furious over being ‘ripped off’ by a “lame computer estimation” of his voice, there’s also a far more “dangerous” precedent being set as some AI material allegedly seeks to get the actor canceled. “Grant Theft Vocal,” Luke labeled it in a recent rant on social media. “Don’t waste your time on this garbage.” “Creative people make remarkable things with AI,” one user said in the replies. “Not using my voice they don’t,” the actor instantly fired back. Catching the attention of many other prolific voice actors, including even fellow Rockstar Games alum Roger Clark of Red Dead Redemption 2 fame, the conversation only got more heated. “The real Michael will never be replaced,” the Arthur Morgan actor said in response. “I’m not worried about being replaced,” Luke replied. “I just hate these f***ers, and am pissed that our sh***y union is so damn weak this will soon be an issue on legit work, not just some lame douchebag [trying to make money] off of our voices.” Following up, Luke then went on to describe an alleged instance in which AI-created soundbites were shared to harm his image online. “I have assholes using AI to create bulls*** racist rants to try get me canceled,” he said. “This is dangerous f***ing sh** that needs to be addressed ASAP.”

GTA 5’s Michael responds to xQc’s $1M offer to get GTA 6 early – Dexerto
GTA 5’s Michael responds to xQc’s $1M offer to get GTA 6 early Rockstar Games/xQcGrand Theft Auto 5 actor Ned Luke, best known for voicing Michael De Santa, has officially responded to xQc’s $1M offer to play GTA 6 ahead of time. Rockstar Games shocked the world this month by finally revealing GTA VI to the world with an official trailer and a release window of 2025. Naturally, many fans don’t want to wait that long. With over a year still to go until the game releases, some streamers such as Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Adin Ross have offered big money to play the game early and they got a response in an unlikely place. In a reply to a Dexerto tweet discussing xQc’s $1M offer to Rockstar, Ned Luke, someone who could very well have the pull to get the French Canadian an early copy, made his case. GTA 5’s Michael actor trolls xQc after $1M GTA 6 offer According to Ned Luke, he could get xQc GTA 6 one day early, but there would be a bit of a catch. “Tell that dumbass to put the Million in my account,” demanded Luke. “I’ll get the game for him a day early…Promise. Nonrefundable direct deposit required.” Of course, while the actor might be able to get Lengyel the game early given his work on the past GTA game, the wording suggests this could be a joke or an attempt to get money from the Kick star. So far, xQc has yet to respond to Luke’s “offer” but it could be one of the easiest GTA heists of all time if Lengyel accepts, especially under those terms. This isn’t the only lucrative GTA 6 request to make headlines recently. The Florida Joker, an IRL criminal referenced in the trailer has even demanded millions from Rockstar for his appearance. In any case, with GTA VI not releasing until 2025, it seems like there is still quite a bit of development to go. In the meantime, keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest GTA news and updates.

GTA 5 voice actor fuels rumors of major return in GTA Online Summer Update – Dexerto
GTA 5 voice actor fuels rumors of major return in GTA Online Summer Update Rockstar GamesAs GTA Online continues to expand content-wise, the GTA V voice actor for Michael Townley has added fuel to rumors of his character’s big return in the online version’s Summer Update. GTA Online continues to buck and change, with players finding new ways to play at every turn. As the upcoming Summer Update draws close, speculation is rife in how the game is going to change, and what ‘expanded and enhanced’ content we’ll be able to look forward to. Now the GTA V voice actor for Michael Townely, Ned Luke, has been poking the bear with a series of cryptic clues on Twitter. In response to a vg247 article hinting at his potential inclusion in the next big update, the veteran voice actor tweeted out a shrugging emoji. With players pulling the game apart to find out what secrets are being kept from us, the response of the actor at all could be considered to point towards the DLC movie surrounding Michael that fans have been hoping for. The actor followed up the rampant speculation in the Twitter fire he started with a facepalm emoji, keeping his wordless additions to the rumour mill as tightly lipped as possible. With unfounded claims of “Leaked footage of Michael De Santa” popping up in the comments surrounding Ned’s interaction, it’s clear that the fanbase has latched onto an idea they’re not going to let go. It’s not unprecedented. Franklin has already received the GTA Online treatment in The Contract, there’s room for Rockstar to bring more beloved characters back into the fold in this manner. Some fans are taking this as a gospel announcement Twitter is filled with comments congratulating Ned on his return. What was that one quote again? “Daddy’s back, bitches!” Glad to see you’re coming to the game, dude!— Brandon Cade (@RexWolfen) June 7, 2022 Unfortunately, there seems to be no confirmation either way on Michael’s inclusion, all that we know for sure is that Ned’s commentary has left us with more questions than answers. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any further developments.

GTA 5 voice actor addresses avid fans demanding GTA 6 reveal: “Patience” – Dexerto
GTA 5 voice actor addresses avid fans demanding GTA 6 reveal: “Patience” Rockstar GamesNed Luke, the actor behind GTA 5 protagonist Michael De Santa, has calmly advised avid Rockstar fans to be patient in waiting for GTA 6. We’ve now passed the full decade mark since the last Grand Theft Auto game hit store shelves. GTA 5 released in 2013 and has gone on to become an unprecedented cultural phenomenon, generating billions in revenue on its way to becoming the second-best-selling game of all time. Naturally, given its impact on the industry and on multiple generations of players, countless gamers have been anxiously awaiting its follow-up. We know for certain GTA 6 is in development, and last year’s historic leaks even showed us some early gameplay, but beyond that, official details have been scarce to say the least. As a result, diehard fans have been scratching and clawing for any scraps of information they can get their hands on. In some extreme cases, they’ve even stormed the stage at major gaming events to get their point across. In light of this unmitigated enthusiasm for the sequel, one of the faces of GTA 5 has now come forward and advised fans to express patience in waiting for GTA 6. Celebrating GTA 5’s 10th anniversary with a brief video on TikTok, Ned Luke took a moment to address the gaming community and touch on the future of the franchise. “We just crossed the threshold of 10 years. 10 years of GTA 5… I just want to give a big shout-out to the fans,” he said, before pivoting to address the elephant in the room. “Only what, maybe five of those years was ‘where the f*** is GTA 6?’ Luke joked. “Patience guys. It’ll be worth the wait. Trust me. GTA 5 was worth the wait, GTA 6 is gonna be even more worth the wait.” Coincidentally, he’s not the only GTA 5 protagonist that’s been linked with the sequel this week. Just a few days prior, Shawn Fonteno who voices Franklin in the game, was the focal point of a new conspiracy around GTA 6. Appearing alongside Bryan Zampella an actor rumored to be in the upcoming sequel, the two tracked down a briefcase containing “the most powerful and dangerous thing” they’d ever encountered. Exactly what said thing was, no one knows, but many are speculating it’s GTA 6. Of course, for now, everything is just conjecture. And as Luke advised, remaining patient is all we can do until Rockstar steps back into the spotlight when the time is right.

GTA 5 turns into The Walking Dead with spooky zombie apocalypse mod – Dexerto
GTA 5 turns into The Walking Dead with spooky zombie apocalypse mod Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto V remains fresh even in 2020, and a large part of that is due to the excellent mod support from the community. It might be hard to remember, but GTA 5 launched all the way back in 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360. The game was eventually ported to the current-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles, while also receiving a PC version. The PC port is where the game was truly able to shine as the platform unlocks several different ways to experience the game. Players can dive in the roleplaying mode that took Twitch by storm in 2019, or they could install some new mods of their own. By featuring mod support, any game can have longevity. Skyrim, a game from 2011, is still very popular thanks to the community keeping it alive with new updates to keep things feeling fresh. YouTuber SteveTheGamer55, who boasts over 2.5 million subscribers, showed off a mod that transformed the streets of Los Santos into a zombie apocalypse in something that looks it’s straight out of The Walking Dead. The mod gives players bars for stamina, thirst, and hunger that they’ll have to keep full or else they’ll succumb to the hordes of zombies. During their adventure, players will come across hostile areas marked by a red flare, indicating good loot is nearby. However, these areas will generally be guarded by others looking to get their hands on this same loot, meaning zombies aren’t the only thing out for blood. How can you play? For anybody looking to get their hands on this mod, they’ll first have to have a copy of GTA on PC. Unfortunately, this means anybody on consoles will be out of luck. If you’re already on PC, you can find this mod and several others on GTA5-mods.com. They are all really simple to install, so anybody should be able to do it. You can browse through a large selection of things ranging from car skins to new weapons. Give it a look if you haven’t already. Surviving a zombie apocalypse is not an easy thing to do, so fire up this mod and see how long you can last.

GTA 5 TikToks reveal where players can steal super rare cars on map – Dexerto
GTA 5 TikToks reveal where players can steal super rare cars on map YouTube: SpeirsTheAmazingHDOne wise GTA 5 player took to the streets of Los Santos to find some of the game’s rarest cars, with the help of… TikTok? Grand Theft Auto 5 has been out for so long that there truly aren’t many surprises or hidden gems that can be found in the world these days. Now, most players traverse the lands of Los Santos trying to collect as many rare collectibles and vehicles that they can find. One enterprising player, seeking some of the rarest cars in the game, got some advice from an unexpected source. GTA player uses TikTok to steal rare cars YouTuber SpeirsTheAmazingHD posted a video showing how they can use TikTok videos to find and steal some of the rarest cars in the game. First, Speirs pulled up a TikTok that referenced a “random vacca lambo” driving around an area, along with the in-game time when the TikToker spotted the car. Using that information, Speirs was able to figure out approximately where the Lamborghini in question would be at that time during the day. Eventually, he was able to track down the car – which he jokingly called Batman’s car in reference to the Lamborghini Bruce Wayne drove in The Dark Knight. Speirs repeated this process several times to find other rare cars from iconic superheroes such as Iron Man’s Audi R8, Ghost Rider’s motorcycle, the Batmobile, Captain America’s motorcycle, and others. While not every player will want to steal Iron Man’s Audi, Speirs showed how TikTok can be a valuable resource for GTA players who want to find a specific car in-game.

GTA 5’s Trevor actor opens up about scrapped DLC story content – Dexerto
GTA 5’s Trevor actor opens up about scrapped DLC story content Take-Two InteractiveGTA 5 actor Steven Ogg revealed a scrapped idea that may have been explored for story DLC starring Trevor Philips. The single-player DLC that followed the GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption releases led many to believe GTA 5 would receive similar post-launch support. Instead, Rockstar Games spent years focusing its efforts on expanding GTA Online. But rumors and leaks about GTA 5 story expansions still crop up every so often. According to Steven Ogg, the actor behind Trevor, one idea almost showed Trevor in a completely different light. During a discussion with Streamily, Michael actor Ned Luke noted there were plans to produce story DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5. Ogg elaborated further, revealing that he’d actually filmed something in which he portrayed Trevor as an undercover operative for the Feds. “We also had that really cool sh** of… I forget if it was DLC, I have no idea, but Trevor was gonna be undercover. He works for the Feds. We did shoot some of that stuff, with like ‘James Bond’ Trevor…” the actor explained. Talk about the shelved GTA 5 DLC begins around the 26:20 mark: The character would’ve remained a “fu** up” but one who tried his best to get the job done, Ogg continued. According to him, such talks just fizzled out and Rockstar Games never followed up again. Luke chimed in to say that this was around the time that GTA Online became the center of attention. This isn’t the first time GTA 5 DLC details have made the rounds. Late in 2023, source code leaks pointed to something called “Agent Trevor,” which reportedly became GTA Online’s Doomsday Heist update. Those same leaks additionally hinted at expansion content that would’ve seen players return to the Liberty City locale.

GTA 5 star Ned Luke defends Rockstar from blame after being swatted live on stream – Dexerto
GTA 5 star Ned Luke defends Rockstar from blame after being swatted live on stream RockstarNed Luke has swiftly shut down any and all accusations attempting to blame Rockstar after the GTA 5 actor was swatted while playing their game live on stream. Swatting has only continued to be a devastating issue in the streaming landscape. For ill-intending viewers who obtain personal details of a given content creator, they’re often seeking to make their lives a living hell. Whether that’s by quite literally defecating on someone’s doorstep or by calling in a fake bomb threat and having a swat team descend on their location, we’ve seen it all over the years. Though given the very real risks associated with swatting, it’s one of the more common acts of malice. IShowSpeed has been swatted multiple times in just the past week alone. On November 23, it was GTA 5 actor Ned Luke who came into the crosshairs, receiving a phone call mid-stream informing him that his property was being swarmed by a swat team. Though the nature of this incident had “nothing” to do with the developers behind the blockbuster franchise, Luke soon clarified. Playing GTA Online with fans watching along live, some quickly ‘jumped to conclusions,’ as Luke put it shortly after. “Rockstar failing to hide people’s IP addresses from modders could’ve resulted in one of the lead actors for GTA getting shot and killed,” one Twitter user claimed. “Rockstar should have solved this problem years ago.” Not about to let the accusations slide, Luke swiftly jumped into the conversation and assured the swatting incident wasn’t related to him playing GTA Online. “Y’all jumping to some large a** conclusions,” he replied. “This had nothing to do with Rockstar. These a**holes leaked my private info years ago and have been doing this sh** since.” Evidently not the first time dealing with such an incident, Luke also replied to a story from another Twitter user claiming to have witnessed a prior dealing with local law enforcement. When allegedly delivering pizza in the area, this individual supposedly noticed a number of cops nearby, all focusing on the address of the GTA 5 actor. However, even after having said pizzas delivered, Luke admitted he “never paid” the worker amid the chaos of it all.

GTA 5 secret finally exposes real reason why 5-star police chases never end – Dexerto
GTA 5 secret finally exposes real reason why 5-star police chases never end Rockstar GamesRockstar Games have made their bank robbing, wheeling and dealing game one of the most well-known in the world, but GTA 5 players may still be wondering why it’s so hard to get away from a five-star Police chase in GTA Online. Well, the secret is out. The Grand Theft Auto series brings all sorts of elements to the table with its games. Flashy cars, big money, apartments, customization and heists. However, the people standing in the way of your next big crime in-game is often the Police – sworn to protect Los Santos and its wider regions. Now, we can all sit down and have a debate about whether they do a good job in that respect. We’ve seen police mow over pedestrians in the street, drive wherever the hell they want to on the road, and take the law into their own hands. They’re NPCs, after all. They don’t know what they’re doing. GTA 5 Police chase mystery solved With GTA 5, the game’s developers made them a lot harder to escape from in Police chases as well. Escaping the Cops is usually easy, but not when you reach a five-star chase. That’s when unlimited rounds of officers start flooding your vicinity. Read More: Big mysteries never solved in GTA – Now, you may be wondering how they all fit in the tiny Police Stations across the map at times. Well, their secret has been exposed. They have a portal set up and can just summon as many cars as they want until they get what they want. Seen in a clip below, posted to Reddit by JarodJB40, there’s just a non-stop conveyer belt of Police cars that spawn in. Quite often, driving as fast as you can in the opposite direction can free you from the Cops, using either a road vehicle, plane or helicopter. However, knowing what you know now about five-star chases, perhaps you will think twice about inviting the highest level of Police to track you down in GTA Online. Or, if you were struggling to escape their grip in the past and still want to continue being a menace in GTA 5, at least now you know what you’re dealing with.

GTA 5 players on PlayStation & Xbox to lose all their clips in Rockstar Editor – Dexerto
GTA 5 players on PlayStation & Xbox to lose all their clips in Rockstar Editor Take-Two InteractivePlayStation and Xbox players will loose access to saved GTA 5 and GTA Online clips once the Rockstar Editor gets removed. Rockstar Games introduced the Rockstar Editor nearly a decade ago in 2015. Originally launched on PC before migrating to consoles, the editor serves as a video creation tool that lets players craft and share footage from the story campaign and GTA Online. In addition to PS4 and Xbox One versions, the tool has also made its way to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Things are changing for players still using this functionality on eighth-gen hardware, however. And those changes are coming very soon. GTA 5 clips will removed from Rockstar Editor In an update on its official support page, Rockstar Games announced plans to remove the Rockstar Editor from PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Players will no longer have access to the tool in Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online starting Saturday, February 20. According to the studio, this is a necessary change that will allow developers to “support ongoing updates to these games on both platforms.” What this means in the short and long term is that users will lose access to their saved clips and projects this coming weekend. Fortunately, players can export their work before the Rockstar Editor’s PS4 and Xbox One removal. The export process will upload GTA 5 and GTA Online clips and projects to YouTube. Rockstar provided the following guide: Open the Rockstar Editor – Select Video Gallery – Select the Project you want to Export – Select Upload to YouTube, then yes If no YouTube account has been linked to your Rockstar Games account, then select Yes to continue to link your accounts – Follow the instructions to link your YouTube account to your Rockstar Games account – Return to the game after linking the accounts – – If you agree to the Sharing Policy, select Upload – Confirm your video title, then the video description, tagging, etc. – Since the Rockstar Editor is leaving last-gen PlayStation and Xbox hardware this weekend, GTA 5 and GTA Online fans hoping to keep their created content should act fast.

GTA 5 players uncover potential next-gen graphics update in new trailer – Dexerto
GTA 5 players uncover potential next-gen graphics update in new trailer Rockstar GamesGTA 5 players think they might have spotted a first look at graphics changes coming in the Expanded and Enhanced next-gen update for the Rockstar Games classic. While GTA 5 is almost a decade old and has spanned across three different console generations, a true next-gen experience for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners has not yet dropped. Rockstar have confirmed that what they’re calling the Expanded and Enhanced version – don’t get your hopes up for any DLC, though – will launch in November, giving next-gen console owners what they desire. As is usual, however, the game developers have been remained reasonably quiet about the update. They’ve teased new graphics and quicker load times but they are yet to show off what is coming to the new consoles. Well, they might have done so in pretty under-the-radar fashion as Sony dropped a trailer for some games that’ll be coming to PS5 in the near future. Tucked away amongst clips of FIFA 22, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy, and Horizon are two quick looks at GTA 5. There’s no mention of it being gameplay footage from the Expanded and Enhanced version, but given it’s amongst all-new games, that’s what some fans have assumed. While there are only two quick glimpses at GTA, slowed that, it appears that the explosions look slightly different from the current-gen version of the game. It also appears as if the game renders further and much clearer as well. 😂😱🧐😎🥺😤😍 We know how you feel. pic.twitter.com/E4vuj9Opan — PlayStation (@PlayStation) August 27, 2021 There isn’t too much to go off apart from those brief looks, but it does appear as if we’ve had our first look at the next-gen update for GTA. Rockstar are unlikely to drop too many updates around the next-gen changes, but we wouldn’t rule out a longer trailer before November 11, just to show the differences between current gen and next.

GTA 5 players angered by next-gen update bugs making the game “defective” – Dexerto
GTA 5 players angered by next-gen update bugs making the game “defective” Rockstar GamesAfter a long wait for, presumably, the final port of GTA 5, many players are disappointed and even amused by the various glitches and issues with the next-gen port of the popular sandbox game. As the wait for GTA 6 goes on, although we at least know it’s in development now, Rockstar’s PS5 and Xbox Series X port of Gran Theft Auto 5 is a way to fill the time. Promising the best graphics to date, along with an array of quality of life improvements, this is the game’s ultimate form. Saying that, its launch has been marred by some bugs and technical hitches that brings back memories of the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition horrors. It’s left some players with a feeling of deja vu and some have even condemned Rockstar for repeating their mistakes with a disappointing re-release. Grand Theft Auto 5: Expanded and…that’s it? The announcement of one final port of GTA 5 didn’t go down well initially, and it meant that the game would need to do something special to appease long-time fans who have now invested in the game several times. With the game now out, it’s safe to say that it certainly isn’t perfect. The first example is from Reddit user ahduknew who was unable to complete their online mission due to an inexplicable invisible wall that clearly shouldn’t have been there. We move onto a hilarious clip courtesy of MustafaX0_0 in which they switched to their avatar, and the character straight up spawned in mid-air before plummeting through the face of the Earth, presumably to hell itself. The video drew a couple of angry comments from other players who said: “GTA Expanded and Enhanced – all the same bugs, glitches, and other weird stuff you love, now in 4k!” whereas someone else quite brutally said: “The only thing they expanded were their pockets.” As well as the above clips, we’ve also seen two examples of bizarre visual glitches as well. Here’s the game’s satnav map being completely out of sync with itself. We imagine these are not isolated incidents and there are in fact a few more glitches and bugs within the next-gen port of GTA 5. While they’re not the end of the world, you’d have to hope that Rockstar are doing their best to ensure that GTA 6 launches as glitch-free as possible.

GTA 5 players have recreated the GTA 6 trailer in-game and it’s perfect – Dexerto
GTA 5 players have recreated the GTA 6 trailer in-game and it’s perfect YouTube: GTA BelgiumGrand Theft Auto fans have recreated the GTA 6 trailer frame-by-frame in GTA 5, and it looks perfect. After over a decade of waiting, we finally got our first look at what’s in store for Grand Theft Auto 6. The long-anticipated trailer was ultimately released on December 4, ahead of Rockstar’s planned schedule as the internet was in a meltdown after it was leaked online. Still, the trailer has gone on to not only break records but shatter them. In less than half a day, the official GTA 6 trailer took YouTube star MrBeast’s record for the most views on a non-music YouTube video in its first 24 hours. Not only that, but the Guinness World Records officially recognized that the trailer was groundbreaking, putting itself in the history books with multiple records. Some have spent their time analyzing the trailer frame by frame and pointed out the various easter eggs, such as references to past GTA games, real-life landmarks, memes, and more. However, one fan has gone out of their way to recreate the trailer in Grand Theft Auto 5. GTA 6 was recreated in GTA 5, and its perfect In a YouTube video posted on December 7, user ‘GTA BELGIUM’ recreated the long-anticipated GTA 6 trailer in GTA 5. The fan-made trailer starts exactly like the real one, with a sunset view overlooking the city followed by a cinematic of the Bolingbroke Penitentiary in Los Santos County, resembling what we saw in the GTA 6 trailer. Despite the generational leap between the two games, the fan-made trailer still looks incredible. Although it’s impossible to make every frame the same, it’s almost flawless. It even features a GTA Online character with the name ‘Leonida Joker’ — similar to the infamous criminal ‘Florida Joker’ who was seemingly referenced in the trailer, who called out the developers for using his “likeness”, and since demanded millions from Rockstar. Unfortunately, there’s still a while to go until we get our hands on the game, as Grand Theft Auto 6 will eventually hit store shelves in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

GTA 5 players find feature to stop annoying phone calls and it’s already in-game – Dexerto
GTA 5 players find feature to stop annoying phone calls and it’s already in-game Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have been complaining about annoying phone calls on their iFruit phones for years now, but Rockstar Games have had the solution in GTA 5 all along. The popular online mode is always getting bigger and bigger, with its player base increasing with each heist and seasonal update that’s released. While many players have one eye on GTA 6 or the enhanced edition of GTA Online for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, there’s still plenty of time before they get their hands on either of them. The sixth game hasn’t even been announced yet, and the next-gen upgrade comes out in March 2022 – following a delay. That means that they’re left to their own devices in the current game, and many are growing tired of the constant phone calls online. How to stop GTA Online phone calls: The answer is in GTA 5 Luckily for Rockstar Games, however, one member of the community has found an easy solution to the problem and it’s been in the game for years. Reddit poster Cold_Lavishness said: “I recently saw in GTA IV’s story mode you can turn on flight mode which would stop Roman and everyone else from calling you all the time. “It’s hard to count the number of times they’d call in the middle of a free mode gunfight and get me killed. I think a flight mode option would go a really long way in this regard.” All they would have to do is make the feature active in GTA Online, as it’s used already in offline mode – which seems to be an easy fix. Whether or not the concept will come to fruition, however, remains to be seen.

GTA 5 players fear Mors Mutual Insurance is going bankrupt – Dexerto
GTA 5 players fear Mors Mutual Insurance is going bankrupt Rockstar GamesRockstar Games is always adding things – big and small – to GTA 5 and it leaves players thinking many of those details could be teasing future changes. In some cases, they’re proven right, and the latest theory is that Mors Mutual Insurance is under financial threat. There are many companies operating in the world of Grand Theft Auto, with GTA Online fans having the option to buy different properties and vehicles. With so many griefers running around Los Santos and surrounding areas, though, it’s always been important to have a solid insurance plan in case the worst thing happens – your vehicle gets blown up. However, those insurance policies would be null and void if the company somehow folded. And, well, some players are concerned that might be about to happen. Mors Mutual Insurance under threat in GTA 5? On April 16, Reddit user Cometeorz discovered that areas of the business’ offices had been listed as ready to lease. “Today I found out that Mors Mutual Insurance is financially struggling,” they said, as the rest of the thread was filled with comments. Read More: How to get $2m Panther statue in GTA Online – One other user joked: “When they replace your 6 million dollar flying Russian gunship for $1000, its no wonder they’re struggling.” Not exactly the most solid business model, it must be said, but they’ve made it this far. There are many theories out there about why this may be the case, and in terms of a timeframe on how long these signs have been there, it would be hard to say. “They are not struggling. Most of them work from home now,” one posted, while another said: “I really don’t know how they’ve survived this long.” While their future remains somewhat up in the air, live without an insurance firm in GTA 5 would certainly be a struggle. Imagine having your $4 million vehicles blown up and get nothing in return… Nobody would have anything!

GTA 5 player uses Up-n-Atomizer for very first time, ends in disaster – Dexerto
GTA 5 player uses Up-n-Atomizer for very first time, ends in disaster Rockstar GamesGTA Online’s Up-n-Atomizer weapon costs a whopping $400,000 to buy, but players need to be careful where they point the powerful blaster when firing it. This GTA 5 player found that out far too late. There’s a plethora of weapons and items to pick up at Ammu-Nation. Over the counter, you can pretty much pick up anything you can imagine, including mysterious futuristic guns like the Atomizer. Its blast is so powerful that you can pretty much stop anything in its tracks on GTA Online, from cars to enemies approaching. There’s a time and a place for testing things out for the first time, though. Ammu-Nation even has a firing range in the back for experimenting with new purchases, but one Reddit user had other ideas and took to the streets. Soon enough, they learnt their lesson. GTA 5 Up-n-Atomizer fail On September 15, the user posted a video to the GTA Online subreddit, showing off their first experience with the blaster. It could have ended a few ways for this first rodeo, but deciding to fire right at a bus was probably not the best idea in the world. Soon after, it flipped – due to the sheer might of the gun – and came crashing down on top of the player. Somehow, they just brushed off the huge fail and fired a second Up-n-Atomizer shot at the vehicle, flipping it back into its normal position. This hilarious footage just goes to show the things that can happen when you don’t know what you’re doing. Maybe next time they will try another expensive gun, like the Widowmaker – which costs $500,000 in its own right. Players have found all sorts of weird and wonderful ways of using these weapons in the past. One thing is for sure, though, if you’re in a gunfight don’t go shooting at moving buses. It could seriously backfire.

GTA 5 player returns after 3 years and makes police discovery – Dexerto
GTA 5 player returns after 3 years and makes police discovery Rockstar GamesA GTA 5 player encountered interesting behavior from a police officer that highlights an incredible attention to detail in the 9-year-old game. Rockstar Games typically packs its interactive adventures full of smaller details that most players never notice. In GTA 5, for instance, those who fail and repeat a story mission will receive different dialogue during the debriefing section. Breaks in older cars are prone to squeaking, too. And if Franklin’s driving with his dog, Chop, he’ll actually reach over to open the door for him after parking. Red Dead Redemption 2 is similarly replete with small touches, such as possums playing dead and decomposing corpses. GTA 5’s police take their jobs very seriously While driving through Los Santos, GTA 5 player and Redditor Technical-Ad1059 noticed a motorcycle cop parked behind bushes near an overpass. The police officer wasn’t standing there for his health, either. With binoculars in hand, he appeared to be closely observing traffic. Technical-Ad1059 thought the moment interesting enough to share in the GTA subreddit with the following screenshot. As others noted in the thread, this serves as another example of the game’s incredible attention to detail. A_Guy_Named_Matthew also pointed out other instances players may stumble across in-game. Apparently, an LSSD patrol car watches traffic “near the prison on Route 68,” the Redditor said. XPERTGAMER47 added undercover cop cars sometimes patrol the area around the strip club, as well. It’s interesting that players continue to uncover previously unseen details in a game that will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. The scope of the experience is even more impressive when considering the age of the hardware upon which Rockstar built it. The next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series could add even more interesting micro-details, making gameplay more immersive than ever.

GTA 5 player makes discovery in the sea 9 years after launch – Dexerto
GTA 5 player makes discovery in the sea 9 years after launch Rockstar GamesA GTA Online player has made a huge discovery about the in-game ocean almost a decade after it first released. GTA 5 is a massive game, and things get even bigger in online mode. With so much space to explore, it’s no surprise some features have been forgotten about since release in 2013. One of those is the ocean itself, which is far more detailed than most realize. As one player on Reddit discovered, Rockstar put a ton of work into making the sea as realistic as possible. In a post on August 4 to the GTA Online subreddit, user enderdez posted a video showing that there are even tides at work in San Andreas. As the clips show, water levels rise and fall depending on the in-game time, just like in real life. The tides are also referenced during the single-player campaign, during a sequence when Trevor has a person tied to a beam under the pier. If you wait long enough, the tide will eventually rise and drown this unfortunate NPC, though most players seem to enjoy finishing him off quicker than that. Another oceanic feature players might have forgotten about is how to have unlimited breath while underwater. As another user posted on the subreddit recently, wearing a scuba suit will give you unlimited air, just another example of how many features there really are in GTA 5.

GTA 5 player goes viral after finding Trevor’s lab in real life, reveals exact location – Dexerto
GTA 5 player goes viral after finding Trevor’s lab in real life, reveals exact location Rockstar Games / RedditTrevor is one of the most popular characters in GTA 5 and he gets up to a lot of mischief in his lab. Luckily for fans of the Rockstar Games series, one fan might have just found the exact building in California that’s based off. As many will be aware by now, the Grand Theft Auto V map is based off of areas in California, so it won’t be a shock to see fans have tracked down lookalike points of interest. In fact, in the past players have located the buildings in Los Angeles that inspired the creation of tower blocks and other landmarks in GTA Online. The latest discovery isn’t quite as grand, but will certainly be interesting for fans of Trevor Philips – the loudmouth protagonist who stars alongside Michael De Santa and Franklin Clinton. Trevor’s GTA 5 lab location found in California On May 9, 2021, Reddit user LeoDaiDesign unveiled their photograph of the IRL liquor store in Cali. It has since received thousands of upvotes from members of the online community. They posted: “Drive pass Trevors meth lab in California! The signs are almost identical.” Some fans in the comments claimed the image was so much like the in-game version that they thought it was a loading screen. One thing that they wanted to know, though, was where it could be found. So, the GTA 5 fan revealed the exact co-ordinates. They added: “Off of CA-111 on the east side of the Salton Sea. Google “Historic North Shore Service Station.” It’s right next to it.” Others then started to share their own discoveries. One responded: “The Salton Sea is infamous if you live in California. The first time I played GTA V (a decade ago) I knew the “lake” they were referring to immediately.” Will fans of GTA 5 start flooding to the highway stop-off for some liquor? Who knows, but it’s certainly a cool discovery nonetheless.

GTA 5 player finds exact Los Santos locations in real-life trip to LA – Dexerto
GTA 5 player finds exact Los Santos locations in real-life trip to LA Rockstar GamesA GTA 5 player has gone viral on Reddit after sharing photos of a bunch of Los Santos buildings in real life during a trip to Los Angeles. Grand Theft Auto has delivered some of the most memorable open-world locations in video game history, from Vice City to San Andreas – but GTA 5’s Los Santos is arguably the best and most iconic map fans have experienced so far. Now, most players know that the beloved in-game location is based on the real-life city of Los Angeles, but they might not be aware of just how true-to-life Rockstar made it, even down to recreating specific buildings in great detail. Reddit user DylanP3692 took to the GTA Online subreddit to share photos from their recent trip to Los Angeles, where they went hunting for buildings that were recreated in the Los Santos map. First on the list is Del Perro Heights, the in-game building where players can purchase apartments 4, 7, and 20. It’s not quite as exciting in real life, as it turns out it’s just a standard office building. Next is Maze Bank West, which serves as an office for criminal organizations in the game. In real life, DylanP3692 explained, this building is actually a bank. Finally, there’s Eclipse Towers, the 27-story residential skyscraper in West Vinewood. This is based on the real-life Sierra Towers, a luxury building that’s previously been home to the likes of Cher, Joan Collins, and Courteney Cox. The comparisons left some Reddit users impressed once again at how authentic the game portrayed Los Angeles. Others shared their own memories of exploring the city and recognizing buildings from the Los Santos map. “I swear to god, if I go to LA I’d be able to make my way around way too damn well just because of how immaculately they recreated it in GTA,” wrote one player, while another explained: “As an LA resident, GTA V will forever be the best GTA for me because of how accurately they captured my city.” One Redditor jokingly asked if it was strange not seeing flying bikes, to which DylanP3692 replied: “It kind of did, but it felt good knowing my day wouldn’t be ruined by me losing my temper and killing the griefer over and over again.” There have been plenty of examples of how Rockstar recreated the city of Los Angeles in GTA 5 over the years, but it’s especially impressive to see how faithfully they did this even down to individual buildings.

GTA 5 Online: Los Santos casino is finally opening Rockstar confirms – Dexerto
GTA 5 Online: Los Santos casino is finally opening Rockstar confirms After years of speculation, Rockstar have confirmed that a brand new casino is coming to GTA 5 online. In a Twitter post to Rockstar Games’ 9.8 million followers, they shared a short video with the caption “Opening soon: A luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood…” The short video that accompanies the Tweet shows nothing more than a flashing GTA logo with various casino-related items surrounding it. Despite being short and sweet, the video does finally confirm what a lot of Grand Theft Auto fans had suspected all along – the casino is coming soon. Opening soon: A luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood… pic.twitter.com/fSM9xXFk23 — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) 13 June 2019 Those who know Los Santos inside out, or those who search GTA online a lot, will know that an unannounced server side update finally removed the opening soon banner from the front of it. This was in addition to replacing construction materials. The change appears to have been an intentional tease which didn’t take long for players to notice. The casino has sat in the heart of Vinewood since Grand Theft Auto 5 released in 2013. This means the casino has been a long time in the making, with a lot of players expecting it to open several years ago now. What kind of mischievous activity the casino will allow GTA players to do remains to be seen but it probably won’t be above board! It could potentially play out as its own separate game with players being able to bet their GTA dollars against each other in various traditional casino games such as roulette and poker. There had been rumors that the casino may not open after all because of the negative connotations gambling can bring to a game. Popular games such as FIFA have come under fire in recent months as their micro-transaction system is considered gambling by many. Read More: When is GTA 6 coming out? Rumors, release date, story and more for the next Grand Theft Auto game – Nevertheless, GTA 5’s casino is indeed opening and probably soon. The release date is expected to be late June or early July. Historically, Rockstar have provided quarterly updates although there has been no major update since 2018.

GTA 5 Online’s terrible potholes are now saving players’ lives – Dexerto
GTA 5 Online’s terrible potholes are now saving players’ lives Take-Two InteractivePotholes have long caused problems in GTA Online, yet one player recently found that the game’s broken roads sometimes have their uses. The roads that make up the map for Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online aren’t the greatest. In fact, they’ve proven so troublesome over the years that PC modders have gone out of their way to create improved roads. Broken roadways riddling the most recent Grand Theft Auto entry does make sense. After all, the Los Santos area is inspired by Los Angeles, whose streets play host to far too many fractures. But players exploring the digital world have finally found a reason to celebrate some of GTA Online’s crater-filled streets. Potholes in GTA Online have actually come in handy for once Reddit user finger_liken_good recently (and accidentally) found a good use for Grand Theft Auto Online’s in-game potholes. While racing down the highway on a motorcycle, the player hit a car and quickly found themselves falling face-first into the pavement. This could’ve gotten a lot worse, though. Miraculously, the Redditor’s character landed in a large pothole, which protected them from oncoming traffic. Instead of getting “wasted” in the middle of the street, the player managed to survive what could’ve been a head-on collision with a speeding sedan. Pure luck and a well-placed pothole did this GTA Online player some good in the long run. Hopefully, they didn’t take this gift for granted and opted to take more precautions when hitting the road again. It’s unlikely a that pothole, even in a fictional world, will serve as a life-saver on two separate occasions.

GTA 5 NPCs have started stealing planes from players – Dexerto
GTA 5 NPCs have started stealing planes from players Rockstar GamesGTA 5 griefers are usually the most annoying part of the game, but it looks like NPCs have started to stake their claim for that title as well. They’ve literally started ripping players out of planes. Non-playable characters have a rough old time in Los Santos and its wider GTA V regions, that’s for sure. They’re accustomed to pretty much every single crazy scenario you can think of. From being hit by a car, having their vehicle stolen, to entire streets being overrun by tanks and fighter jets, they have seen it all. Though, this year, it looks like they are starting to fight back. GTA 5 NPCs are stealing planes On August 20, a hilarious clip emerged from the game’s online community, rising up the GTA Online subreddit. The post, which has racked up thousands of upvotes, is quite shocking as well. Considering how easy NPCs usually are to fend off, the clip shows one of the more feisty customers – ragging the player out of their airplane. To make matters worse, suddenly they fire up the engines and take off into the sky. There’s no context to the clip, unfortunately, so we have no idea what made the NPC snap in this way. One user joked: “Dang, now NPC’s are doing Cayo heists? That last update is lit.” With the in-game prompt almost trolling the player by asking them to “Enter the Velum,” they’ll have a tough job trying to figure that one out for this Cayo Perico setup mission. GTA 5 next-gen release slammed for lack of new gameplay upgrades: “Be better” – Dexerto
GTA 5 next-gen release slammed for lack of new gameplay upgrades: “Be better” Rockstar GamesNine years since its initial release and GTA 5 has finally reached new-gen hardware with the Expanded & Enhanced edition. Though just hours after the port went online and players have already been let down by a lack of new features and graphical upgrades. Despite some delays along the way, GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced is now available across PS5 and Xbox Series X | S hardware. With the latest edition intending to be more than just “a simple port,” according to Rockstar Games, the rerelease comes boasting new graphics modes, improved loading times, and various console-specific features like haptic feedback on PS5. Despite these improvements, however, the day one experience hasn’t quite met expectations. While not on the same level as last year’s GTA Trilogy debacle, devs remained fairly quiet once again ahead of this new-gen port for GTA 5, with minimal gameplay shown ahead of launch. Now it seems history is repeating itself to an extent as fans of the open-world franchise have been disappointed with the “joke” of a remaster that supposedly changes “nothing.” Its 2022 and we still dont have working mirrors on vehicles in the 3rd console edition of GTAV 🙁 pic.twitter.com/O9AmvdqQhs — GTA News 🔴 RockstarINTEL.com (@GTAonlineNews) March 14, 2022 Although visuals have been enhanced to some degree, not everything is up to the level of polish fans were expecting. From draw distance appearing unchanged to smaller details like car mirrors remaining blank, many have argued the game “looks identical” to its older versions. Various visual bugs and small gameplay issues appear to be impacted by the jump to 60FPS with the new performance mode as well. We’ve already seen amusing smoke mishaps along with some troubled barriers that don’t quite work as intended. Furthermore, the new GTA Online port also comes with its fair share of issues on day one. Most notably, the radio wheel is allegedly “broken” on both PS5 and Xbox consoles. While players can select from the regular stations, no music comes through the speakers. These compounding issues have players concerned that Rockstar may “never learn” from past mistakes. “You’d think after releasing one train wreck a few months ago, they’d be better prepared,” one player stressed on Reddit. “Be better than this!” So even with a smaller price point at launch and a range of exclusive vehicles for new-gen owners, it’s safe to say the latest GTA 5 port is far from perfect. Although a handful of smaller bugs can certainly be patched in the coming weeks, overall design choices and graphical upgrades may be final. With GTA 6 officially in development, it’s likely Rockstar is full steam ahead on the future of the franchise.

GTA 5 Next-Gen players demand feature from Apex Legends & Warzone – Dexerto
GTA 5 Next-Gen players demand feature from Apex Legends & Warzone Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto 5 players have been critical of Rockstar Games’ “expanded and enhanced” Next-Gen update, available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. N0w, they’re calling for a big feature seen in Warzone and Apex Legends to save it. A number of changes have been implemented with the Next-Gen update, from new vehicles to a new feature allowing players to clone cars driven by other people in the same lobby. Even with it being early days for the updated version, which was released on March 15, many fans claim the developers didn’t go far enough to deliver on the promise of an “expanded and enhanced” experience. Just two days later, the community came together in support of a Twitter user, calling for a feature to be added that would represent a major shift for the series’ online play. GTA Online Next-Gen players demand cross-platform feature Many of the biggest franchises across the video game industry have taken the step to allow Xbox, PC, and PlayStation players to play together. This ranges from Apex Legends and Call of Duty Warzone to Fortnite and Minecraft. Though Rockstar still hasn’t joined in – players think it could be the perfect addition right now. On March 17, Twitter user Amanifwm asked the question: “How the f**k is GTA 5 not cross-platform yet?” https://twitter.com/Amanifwm/status/1504553162597933061 At the time of writing, the post has racked up over 47,000 likes on the original, and a further 3,000 on the reply – showing the strength of support for such a change. Some users did engage in the age-old debate about whether PlayStation or Xbox players were better, while others suggested adding PC to cross-platform may cause difficulties with hackers. Others, however, wanted the feature as long as it didn’t affect Grand Theft Auto 6 plans. A user responded: “I’ve been tweeting at them for months trying to get cross-play. I know it would make the game more alive and playable.” One also joked: “You just gave Rockstar a reason to delay GTA 6.” Publicly, the developers have not commented on the possibility of cross-platform play in the Next-Gen update. With the sixth installment of the series confirmed to be in the early stages of development, it remains to be seen as to whether Rockstar would make such a bold step in the meantime.

GTA 5 Michael & Franklin actors respond to if they’re in GTA 6 – Dexerto
GTA 5 Michael & Franklin actors respond to if they’re in GTA 6 ActivisionThe actors behind Michael and Franklin from GTA 5 have responded to questions that they might be in GTA 6, and decided to troll some fans of the series. It’s been a long and arduous wait for Grand Theft Auto fans, but Rockstar Games have started to shed a bit more light on GTA 6 – even though they aren’t using that name just yet. The iconic game developers confirmed that the first trailer for the highly-anticipated next instalment of the series would drop in early December, giving us our first official look at where we’ll be headed. Though, that’s likely to be Vice City and the Florida coast based on the number of leaks we’ve seen. Some characters from previous games do, at times, also make the trip over to the new one. And given that everyone had to option to save Michael, Franklin, and Trevor at the end of GTA 5, it’s only natural that questions about potential appearances in GTA 6 have popped up. GTA 5 Michael & Franklin actors troll fans over potential GTA 6 appearances Well, following on from the announcement, Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno – who played Michael and Franklin – were asked about it again. So, they decided to have a little fun with it. “I am officially making this announcement, Franklin Clinton is going to not be in GTA 6,” Fonteno said on the PARTYCHAT Podcast. “And I am officially not making that announcement,” Luke added, trying to tease fans that Michael may appear. The pair of them then added it’s a “mystery” before joking that you have to solve the Mount Chiliad mystery. “But for real, we don’t know man. If we did know, y’all couldn’t know man,” Fonteno added. Timestamp of 34:42 Even though players had the option to save Michael at the end of GTA 5, many players also opted to kill him off. Keeping him around for GTA 6 would wipe out a large part of the story for those fans, which is something Rockstar is very unlikely to do. On top of that, the voice actors have been extremely open when it comes to talking about GTA 6 and telling fans to be patient, which the devs don’t permit until launch. So, don’t count on seeing either of them in the main story.

GTA 5 Michael actor trolls Kai Cenat immediately after GTA 6 trailer release – Dexerto
GTA 5 Michael actor trolls Kai Cenat immediately after GTA 6 trailer release Kai Cenat/Ned LukeLess than 24 hours before its scheduled debut, the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer went viral after its release. As if that weren’t amusing enough, GTA 5 Michael actor Ned Luke joined the band of streamers who reacted to the same and ended up trolling Twitch Star Kai Cenat. Here’s what went down. In a shocking turn of events Rockstar Games had to force their hand to officially release the much hyped GTA 6 trailer a day early, due to leaks surfacing online. While this shocked fans worldwide, streamers who were live streaming were caught off guard as well. One such streamer is Twitch star Kai Cenat who didn’t believe at first the trailer had dropped online officially by Rockstar. However as they went on to watch it and discuss Easter Eggs with their fan base, they spotted the voice actor Ned Luke who played Michael in GTA 5, also streaming on YouTube. As they both ended up watching one another’s streams and started communicating live, Ned had a few tricks up his sleeve as he ended up trolling Kai Cenat in the most ‘Michael’ way possible. Here’s what went down between them. Ned Luke trolls Kai Cenat in GTA 6 trailer reaction live stream Last night, GTA 5 actor Ned Luke was observed live streaming a GTA 6 trailer reaction stream on YouTube. During his discussion of game-related theories with his followers on the broadcast, Kai Cenat joined as a viewer and also shared Luke’s stream on his screen. The actor decided to taunt Kai in a way that would go unnoticed by him while he was attempting to talk with him live on stream. Ned then went off on Kai for sharing his stream on his Twitch live and said, “You’re making a fortune off me right now. You’re gonna kick me some off that cash bro. I’m gonna give you my Venmo”, in an aggressive tone. He continued and said, “Your views are gonna go crazy (because of me).” As Kai kept screaming in panic, “I got you, alright? I’ll pay you. I’m gonna give you your money”, Ned looked at the camera and broke into laughter. As soon as Kai noticed this, he smiled and realized the actor was trolling him. In addition, Ned continued with a savage remark directed at Kai, “I gotta do some of that Times Square joint you did where everybody’s standing on cars,” which once more induced Kai to frown and say, “What’s that remark Ned? You trynna give me that PTSD?” However, since this was simply a friendly banter, the two ended up exchanging numbers with one another and engaged in a conversation shortly after. On the other hand, streamers like Adin Ross couldn’t help but spill the tea on more GTA 6 secrets as fans wait for its launch in 2025.

GTA 5 Michael actor slams “clown” GTA 6 fans calling female protagonist “woke” – Dexerto
GTA 5 Michael actor slams “clown” GTA 6 fans calling female protagonist “woke” Rockstar GamesGTA 5’s Michael voice actor has praised new protagonist Lucia and slammed fans for calling Rockstar “woke” for adding in a female playable character in the main storyline. GTA 6 is shaping up to be the biggest video game release of 2025. The announcement trailer for the game, which dropped in December 2023, broke records for viewership and has sent fans into a frenzy ever since. One of the main takeaways from the trailer was the official reveal of protagonist Lucia. While rumors speculate that she won’t be the solo playable character, her inclusion marks the first fully realized female protagonist for the GTA franchise. As such, many have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the character. While some are already calling Lucia “mommy” others are slamming developer Rockstar for supposedly making the game “woke.” However, one voice close to the franchise has since added their opinion into the mix. GTA 5 voice actor Ned Luke, who took on the role of Michael in the last game, shared his thoughts on Lucia as the new main face of GTA 6. In an interview with IGN, Luke praised the introduction of Lucia and is excited to see what Rockstar does with the new game and the story. “Lucia’s hard, man. In the trailer, she looked good.” However, the actor then went on to call out fans who have taken issue with the franchise introducing a female protagonist for the first time ever. Particularly those online users who have described the decision from Rockstar as being “woke.” “You get a lot of these clowns out here going, ‘Rockstar’s going woke, they’re caving into the wokeness of the world,’” Luke added. “First of all, there’s been other female protagonists in the past, but not in something as huge as this.” Time will tell how online discourse evolves around Lucia as the release of GTA 6 looms closer and closer. For now however, we can confirm that she officially has the tick of approval from one of the three main voice actors of GTA 5. GTA 5 Michael actor slammed for criticizing Red Dead Redemption 2’s Dutch – Dexerto
GTA 5 Michael actor slammed for criticizing Red Dead Redemption 2’s Dutch Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto 5’s Michael actor, Ned Luke, is facing backlash for criticizing the performance of Benjamin Byron Davis as Dutch in Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA and RDR are Rockstar Games’ biggest franchises with meaty titles deserving of Game of the Year awards, but the harmony between the fandoms has been fractured by one of the game’s actors. Ned Luke, who plays Michael De Santa in GTA V, was recently asked to explain why he “hates” Dutch, one of Red Dead Redemption 2’s main characters and revealed why. “Don’t like the character or the performance,” Luke said, instantly igniting a firestorm on social media. GTA 5’s Michael under fire for RDR2 Dutch comments Across X, fans began to rally against Ned Luke, saying that he was in the wrong for being so negative towards a fellow actor’s performance. “Not liking Dutch as a character is fine but the performance? Straight up insulting to the actor that portrayed Dutch,” one baffled user said. “Ned Luke just keeps taking Ls recently.” “This is one of the worst takes of all time. Criticizing the character is one thing but saying the actor’s performance is bad is next level crazy,” echoed GTA 6 content creator Detective. “Dutch is one of the best characters Rockstar has ever created, and Benjamin’s delivery is a great part of that achievement.” YouTuber LegacyKillaHD also took issue with Ned’s remarks, saying how he personally prefers the performance of Dutch over that of Michael De Santa. “Also really bizarre decision to make this trash disrespectful opinion public, especially of a fellow actor,” he added. In response to the backlash, Ned Luke defended his statement and urged those upset with him to take a breather and relax. No it does’t. It states very clearly that I didn’t like the performance. To be clear, there are enough of my own performances I don’t like as well. That’s how it goes. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking an actor. — Ned Luke (@ned_luke) February 20, 2024 “Chill out people. I didn’t like it. Sorry. Was he a great character yeah prolly tremendous. But I don’t like it. I didn’t like Al Pacino in Scent of a Women and I didn’t like Dustin Hoffman in Rainman. But they won Oscars,” he reiterated. “Ben do what he was supposed to do I wasn’t enthralled.” Luke further added that he has plenty of his own performances that he didn’t like as well and that his comments had “nothing to do with liking or disliking an actor.” In any case, the GTA 5 star doesn’t think that his performance or Benjamin Byron Davis’ when GTA 6 is finally released, because, according to Luke, it will “beat everything.”

GTA 5 lets you copy and buy other people’s cars in Next-Gen update – Dexerto
GTA 5 lets you copy and buy other people’s cars in Next-Gen update Rockstar GamesPlayers have discovered a new feature in GTA V’s next-gen update edition that lets you purchase exact replicas of custom cars directly from car meets. With the next-gen version of GTA V officially out, players are discovering more and more changes made to the game, especially in online. One of those features finally allows you to score a sick custom car, without all the work of spending hours at Los Santos Customs yourself. How to copy other players cars in GTA V Next-Gen update Whereas most of the next-gen changes to GTA V have been widely mocked by players for being small or insignificant, being able to copy others vehicles has been received very well. A clip on Reddit shows just how easy it is. You run up to a player car you like, press square, and – just like that – you can purchase it for yourself, if you have the money. Player’s custom cars can be a bit pricey though, so don’t be surprised if you end up spending millions of dollars if you want to grab one. For veteran players, though, this is a super nice change, which should save a ton of time and let people pick up any vehicle that strikes their fancy. While there are still plenty of players who have issues with how much (or little) the next-gen version has changed, at least it’s made life a little easier for all the car buffs out there on GTA Online.

GTA 5 leak reveals scrapped GTA Tokyo & cancelled single-player DLCs – Dexerto
GTA 5 leak reveals scrapped GTA Tokyo & cancelled single-player DLCs GTA Chinatown WarsMany dedicated GTA 5 fans we wondering when the game would get some single player content, and those who have combed through the files of the recent source code leaks have discovered a trail of files for several single-player DLCs that have since been cancelled. In the days when GTA IV was a fresh entry in the series, single-player DLC was something developers were still immensely interested in creating to expand the story of their game. While there are still some developers that do this, the live service business model has largely taken over even in the space of story-focused content. GTA IV was a critical and commercial success that, at the time, had almost no match in the games industry. Though GTA 5 would go on to blow it out of the water, DLCs for the fourth entry like The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned raised the game to new heights. Many long-time fans of the series were hoping that there’d be some single-player DLC on offer to evolve GTA 5 in the same way, but it wasn’t in the cards. Though there was DLC in development at one point according to leaked files in the source code, as well as a GTA Tokyo game for the PS2 that was scrapped. GTA 5 source code leak reveals single-player DLC files The scale of these single player DLCs varies, but the biggest ones would have really made waves. According to what’s contained within the files, there could have even been an entirely new city. Or, well, it wouldn’t have been new to the franchise: GTA 5 at one point had a plan to return to Liberty City, the setting of GTA IV and GTA Chinatown Wars. Some of these single player DLCs were converted into GTA Online content, which makes sense for a few different reasons. With GTA Online being a constantly evolving environment that they can place microtransactions in, it makes sense they’d release free updates rather than DLCs that require a one-time payment. And, on top of that, it makes it so that players can enjoy new content with their friends rather than having to log out of GTA Online to enjoy it. However, this hasn’t kept fans of the series from being disappointed in the decision to release no single-player DLCs. Rockstar has a long history of strong storytelling, and some of that is inherently lost with multiplayer content. Not only that, but Liberty City is a place longtime fans would have been excited to see re-imagined. Additionally, there were some ancient files for what appears to be a scrapped GTA Tokyo game for the Playstation 2. For many, the PS2 era was a golden age for the franchise, with spinoff games like Vice City and San Andreas being fondly remembered to this day. There appears to have been a GTA Tokyo game planned as well in this lineup of spinoffs, although it seems it didn’t make it far past the early stages of development. With how far removed we are from the PS2 era, it’s likely this game will never see the light of day.

GTA 5 is Twitch’s biggest game again amid GTA 6 hype and NoPixel RP comeback – Dexerto
GTA 5 is Twitch’s biggest game again amid GTA 6 hype and NoPixel RP comeback Rockstar GamesDespite being over a decade old, Grand Theft Auto V is still topping the charts on Twitch, and is comfortably the most-watched game on the streaming site over the past week, thanks largely to NoPixel RP and GTA 6 hype. The general interest in Grand Theft Auto obviously spiked after the first GTA 6 trailer was released, although it’s been one of the most popular games on Twitch for years anyway. Couple this with the refreshed NoPixel 4.0 RP streams, and GTA 5 has once again taken over the Amazon-owned streaming site. Looking at stats for the final week of 2023, it’s clear to see the top game as we enter the new year, with Rockstar’s title blowing past everything else. Most-watched Twitch games topped by GTA 5 again Although the base game of GTA 5 released in 2013, it’s the constant iteration in GTA roleplaying (RP) that has helped maintain its position as one of the most popular streaming games. NoPixel 4.0, the latest version of the most well-known RP server, came just in time off the back of the GTA 6 trailer hype, and countless streamers have been in on the action. That’s helped GTA be the most popular game on Twitch, with only the ‘Just Chatting’ category ahead of it in hours watched in the final 7 days of 2023. It clocks in almost 10 million more hours watched than the second most popular, Escape from Tarkov, which has also enjoyed a resurgence thanks to the latest wipe. Below these are League of Legends and Fortnite, also relatively old games at this point. You can see the full rankings here. Some of the other usual suspects like Warzone, Counter-Strike and Apex Legends meanwhile, have slipped down the charts, the latter two now outside the top 10 in terms of hours watched. As we head into 2024, it looks like another year of GTA pulling in huge viewership thanks to RP, and 2025 will of course be no different either, as GTA 6 is set to release that year.

GTA 5: How to sell houses in GTA Online – Dexerto
GTA 5: How to sell houses in GTA Online Rockstar GamesIn GTA 5 Online you can buy a lot of exciting properties but with so many great housing options you may find yourself wanting to upgrade eventually so you’ll need to know how to sell your house in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about selling property in GTA Online. GTA Online features an array of interesting things for players to purchase, from cars and bikes to clothing items, and of course new houses. However, you’ll need to have plenty of money on hand to buy everything you desire, and while Shark Cards are helpful some players will prefer to only handle in-game cash as opposed to using microtransactions. Investing in a house is an ideal way to get more cash in the game so it’s a great method if you want to upgrade to a bigger property or you simply need a good amount of money for your next in-game purchase, whatever it may be. With that in mind, here’s exactly how you can sell houses in GTA Online. Can you sell houses in GTA Online? Yes and no. If you have a house or property that you have purchased in Grant Theft Auto Online then you will be able to sell it. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to recoup every penny that you paid for the property. In order to sell a property, you will still have to buy one to replace it. There is no official way to outright sell a property, due to unknown reasons, and get the full amount of money back. Sell a property in GTA Online The process for selling a property isn’t overly convoluted and can be completed in about a minute or so. Here’s what you need to know to sell a house in GTA Online: Bring up your mobile phone. – Select the ‘Internet’ app. – Go to ‘Dynasty 8’ and click on it. – Head to ‘View Property Listings’. – Set the ‘Price’ filter to ‘Low To High’. – Unit 124 Popular Street for $25,000 should be the cheapest option. – Click the ‘Buy’ option, and then ‘Purchase Property’. – You will then be asked to trade in a Property, select one you don’t want anymore, and confirm the selection. – It’s kind of annoying that you can’t just sell a house and get the full value for it, but this is the next best thing. Also, if you already own Unit 124 Popular Street, then just go to the next cheapest one, or the one after that, etc. That’s everything you need to know about selling houses in GTA Online! GTA 5 Franklin actor deletes cryptic post amid GTA 6 return speculation – Dexerto
GTA 5 Franklin actor deletes cryptic post amid GTA 6 return speculation Rockstar GamesGTA 5’s Shawn Fonteno is once again sparking speculation about Franklin’s possible return in GTA 6 following a cryptic social media post. Rockstar Games is finally set to unveil the GTA 6 trailer after months of waiting, and despite leaks pointing to a new batch of protagonists in VI, rumors have begun to swirl about Franklin and Michael coming back. In the lead-up to the trailer, Ned Luke (Michael) and Shawn Fonteno have begun teasing their involvement in the next Grand Theft Auto, joking outright about appearing in it before saying that players would need to solve the Mount Chiliad mystery to find out. With fans on the edge of their seats, it’s still unclear what the verdict is, but Fonteno may have let it slip that he’s seen the trailer ahead of time in a now-deleted post on Twitter/X. Is GTA 5’s Franklin in GTA 6? Deleted post raises eyebrows GTA 5’s Franklin has been an important part of GTA Online. With Shawn Fonteno reprising his role and on November 14, the actor may have hinted that something else was in the works. “If I told y’all I might get in trouble,” he said. Shortly after, Ned Luke commented, telling Fonteno to “go play Modern Warfare” accompanied by hear, speak, and see no evil emojis. This post led many users to suspect that he was able to view the trailer before it drops, and the speculation was only amplified when he ended up deleting the tweet. “He definitely saw the GTA 6 trailer,” one user remarked. “You was shown the trailer, wasn’t you?” another wrote. Luckily, it won’t be much longer until we can put all this speculation to rest. The GTA VI trailer will debut in early December, but so far, we don’t know the exact date or time, so be sure to keep it locked to Dexerto for all the latest.

GTA 5 fans outraged by leaked PS5 & Xbox prices for next-gen update – Dexerto
GTA 5 fans outraged by leaked PS5 & Xbox prices for next-gen update Rockstar GamesGTA 5 is gearing up for release on its third consecutive console generation, but fans have criticized Rockstar after the prices for the game on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles were revealed. Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the best-selling games of all time, so it was no surprise to see a next-gen version announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Despite it being the game’s third console generation, die-hard fans are still eager to continue their progress in Los Santos. After the disastrous reception to the GTA Trilogy Remastered, and with GTA 6 likely still years away, a trip back into GTA 5’s vast open map could be just the thing to tide players over. But ahead of the next-gen update’s March 15 release date, leaked preorder pages have revealed the price of GTA 5 on new hardware early, and players have criticized Rockstar Games for its approach. According to the leaks, at full price, GTA 5 will cost £34.99 / $39.99 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which also includes GTA Online. For those just interested in the multiplayer content, GTA Online is available standalone for £8.99 / $9.99 on Xbox, or for free on PlayStation for the next three months. To complicate matters further, the main game is currently listed at a discounted price on both platforms – 75% on PS5 and just 50% on Xbox Series S|X. This means GTA 5 can be preordered for £8.75 / $9.99 and £17.49 / $19.99 respectively. The discount in price between on the two platforms is reportedly to make up for the monthly cost of PS Plus and Xbox Live to play GTA Online. However, the pricing has sparked an angry reaction in some areas of the community, with many feeling this is still too high a cost for a game that has been re-released already. Players took to a Reddit thread to express their anger. Looks like GTA 5 will cost $20 USD when it releases for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S next week. After the introductory 50% off discount, the price will go up to $40 in June. pic.twitter.com/A1z0KLhNqO — KAMI (@Okami13_) March 7, 2022 “Why do they price a 9-year-old game so high just because it’s on new-gen?” said Interesting_pilot_13. “One billion [dollars] every year isn’t enough, Rockstar needs more money because they are broke!” said GreaterfinnMertens, sarcastically. Others felt that many players may have already paid for GTA V multiple times over the years, meaning this latest version should even come at no extra cost. “The fact that they aren’t just free at this point is straight-up embarrassing on Rockstar’s behalf.” said another user. “Cyberpunk was a flop at launch and even they did a free next-gen update. And what about all the shark cards people have spent on this game?” replied RetroSight. Much like with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it appears that a portion of the community is growing tired of paying for what is essentially the same game over and over again. We’ll have to wait and see if Rockstar responds by putting GTA 5’s next-gen version on PS Plus or Games Pass for free in the future.

GTA 5 fan makes incredible 3D printed version of entire San Andreas map – Dexerto
GTA 5 fan makes incredible 3D printed version of entire San Andreas map Rockstar GamesGTA 5 will never stop when it comes to amazing fan creations. One player, in particular, has taken things to the next level with a 3D map of Los Santos. When GTA 5 first took the world by storm in 2013, players were mystified by the high-resolution remodel of Los Santos. Adding a modern spin on some familiar locations, whilst completely removing others, Rockstar’s update of the fabled San Andreas landscape has proved to be a worthy successor. The launch of GTA Online has turned Los Santos into an interactive playground. As various updates introduce fantastical weapons and futuristic vehicles, the possibilities are truly never-ending. For GTA 5 fan and Product Designer Dom Riccobene, enjoying Los Santos virtually wasn’t quite enough. He had to make it happen in real life too. An incredible 3D recreation The art of 3D printing is astounding. With applications in both creative and practical fields, innovators of this technology continue to push the boundaries of creativity. Dom Riccobene is one of those innovators. Leading a career in Product Design in his day job, Dom collects data of real-life locations known as “data-sculptures.” Enter GTA 5. Planning to assemble a huge amount of data from Rockstar’s open-world goliath, Dom was going to recreate the world of Los Santos into a physical 3D-printed map. Describing this gigantic quest as “an immense technical challenge,” Dom prevailed over the 100 hours it took to scan the in-game map by hand. With over 500 million coordinates to organize, Dom created an “elevation grid” that would allow him to accurately depict Los Santos in stunning detail. Map of San Andreas for #FanArtFriday#GTA5 #GTAOnline #3dprinting pic.twitter.com/FdUfoquyvF — Dom Riccobene (@DomRiccobene) August 6, 2021 For densely packed areas, the estimated time to print was around 12 hours. In total this humongous effort took 125 hours, give or take, to print in full. That’s outside of the 400 hours Dom spent fine-tuning the accuracy of the map. You’ll be glad to know that Dom isn’t done quite yet either. His next project, which is currently underway, will see him recreate Red Dead Redemption 2’s richly detailed American west. We can’t wait to see what Dom does with the best cowboy simulator in gaming.

GTA 5 fan-made Switch port runs just as badly as expected – Dexerto
GTA 5 fan-made Switch port runs just as badly as expected Rockstar GamesIf you expected GTA 5 to run perfectly on the Nintendo Switch, we recommend you lower your expectations, as the console can barely handle this fan-made port. Once upon a time, a port of Grand Theft Auto 5 to the Nintendo Switch was thought to be in the works, but it turns out the idea was never even on the table. We’ll never know exactly why, but it’s interesting to speculate what the game on the Switch would have looked like. Well, speculate no further as creative modders have done just that. In December 2023, Grand Theft Auto 5’s source code was reportedly leaked alongside details of GTA 6 and Bully 2. Alongside these came the ultimate fate of the GTA 5 Switch port. That didn’t stop these fans, though, who managed to brute-force the game onto the Switch themselves. The footage above is the Switch running GTA 5 in handheld mode using an eighth-generation (PS4/Xbox One) version of the game with modifications to make it, at least somewhat, run for as long as it could before crashing, and the results speak for themselves with frame drops and poor graphics. As one can expect, the Nintendo Switch can’t handle the first mission of GTA 5’s story mode, which involves a robbery in North Yankton, let alone the massive open world of Los Santos, which spans a city, mountains, and desert. Though it certainly looks better than the joked Switch port of GTA 6. Of course, this is a fan-made hack onto the Switch just to see if it could even function on the console at all with no optimization. It’s reasonable to believe that an official port would run much better if not sacrificing graphical capability for performance. It’s still unclear exactly why a Switch port was never developed, whether it truly was a technical limitation and the Switch couldn’t handle it, GTA Online wouldn’t get the support it needed, or Nintendo wanted nothing to do with GTA’s risqué content at the time. If it’s the latter, they’ve definitely changed their mind with the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022.

GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced trailer slammed as “a joke” by fans waiting for GTA 6 – Dexerto
GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced trailer slammed as “a joke” by fans waiting for GTA 6 Rockstar GamesRockstar Games’ decision to keep pushing another GTA 5 release isn’t sitting well with fans, as calls for GTA 6 grow in intensity, and the latest trailer has been bombarded by hate. Rockstar Games isn’t quite done with the cycle of Grand Theft Auto V just yet. Despite launching eight years ago, GTA 5 has gone past the power of the PlayStation 3 and beyond. Capitalizing on the hardware capabilities of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, GTA 5 is set to launch an Expanded and Enhanced edition in March 2022. Originally slated for November 11, the delay, alongside a “disappointing” trailer, has only fuelled angry fans, who are growing impatient for any GTA 6 news. “Disappointing” trailer for GTA 5 E&E Debuting a fresh trailer for the upcoming next-gen makeover, fans of the long-running open world franchise made it clear they weren’t impressed. Even with revamped fidelity and gameplay improvements, the GTA community has branded the PlayStation Showcase footage as “disappointing” and “a joke of a trailer.” The trailer promises features such as “seamless character switching” and “explosive action”, but the scenarios featured aren’t as different as Rockstar may think in the eyes of fans: “This is literally the PS4 version with yellow.” Comment byu/thecoolfattykid from discussion inGTA6 Since its upload to YouTube on September 9, the next-gen trailer has been slaughtered with over 40,000 dislikes (compared to its 17,000 likes). Rockstar Games will also be bringing GTA Online along for the ride, as the multiplayer portion of GTA is still an enormous revenue stream. News of GTA 6 still remains shrouded in secrecy, as Rockstar hasn’t offered any tangible updates on their next project.

This GTA 5 easter egg might have been teasing GTA 6 for the past decade – Dexerto
This GTA 5 easter egg might have been teasing GTA 6 for the past decade Rockstar GamesIf recent reports hold true, and the highly anticipated GTA 6 centers around a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired narrative, there’s a chance Rockstar Games has been teasing it all along in GTA 5. Beyond confirmation that GTA 6 is indeed in active development, Rockstar has remained all but silent on the future of the franchise in recent years. Though that hasn’t stopped Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier from revealing early details on the game’s setting and protagonists. According to the insider’s sources, GTA 6 revolves around two bank robbers, one of which makes history as the first female protagonist in the now 25-year-old series. Together, they seemingly take after Bonnie and Clyde. While it’s still early days yet and plans can certainly change throughout development, fans are now debating whether Rockstar has been teasing this story for almost a decade. If an easter egg in GTA 5 is more than just a coincidence, there’s a chance GTA 6 has been loosely mapped out for quite some time. When GTA 5 hit store shelves in 2013, it did so with a particular poster for a musical by the name of ‘Vice.’ At a glance, this advertisement is nothing out of the ordinary in Los Santos, a satirical recreation of Los Angeles full of over-the-top movie billboards and fast food promotions. Though taking a closer look, now with Bloomberg’s Bonnie and Clyde intel freshly in mind, this poster may very well be teasing the next GTA. Two silhouettes are visible, seemingly a man and a woman, with police cars blurred in the background. Obviously, it’s a stretch to say with any certainty that it’s a GTA 6 easter egg, but fans are already running wild with speculation. Ideas for GTA 6 were supposedly being thrown around as early as 2012, prior to the release of GTA 5, according to Rockstar insider Tez2. If that’s indeed the case, that leaves a slight window for a Bonnie and Clyde-style teaser to make its way into the original release. “Honestly, I believe it,” one fan responded on Reddit. “A man holding a woman with police in the background, while the poster is named Vice, is no coincidence to me.” However, not everyone is convinced. Conflicting reports have since suggested that GTA 6 originally had four playable protagonists. Thus, Rockstar’s earliest plans may not have matched up with this poster visible in GTA 5. Given we’re still potentially years out from the upcoming sequel, we’ll have to wait and see how things pan out. But if the latest statements hold true, there’s every chance Rockstar hid this GTA 6 easter egg in GTA 5 almost a decade ago.

GTA player’s “dirtiest fantasy” trick goes viral on TikTok – Dexerto
GTA player’s “dirtiest fantasy” trick goes viral on TikTok Take-Two InteractiveA GTA 5 player’s “dirtiest fantasy” trick, which revolves around an in-game sex worker, recently went viral on TikTok. Like previous entries in the long-running Rockstar Games series, Grand Theft Auto 5 allows players to buy the services of sex workers. Typically, the ladies work at night, waiting for someone to whisk them away to a quiet spot in Los Santos. Users can then choose from three different available services, priced at $50, $70, and $100. But a fourth selection on the menu screen allowed one GTA 5 player to get away with quite the dirty trick. “Dirtiest fantasy” trick in GTA 5 has gone viral online TikTok user GTA VIRAL recently shared a 15-second clip of someone interacting with one of Grand Theft Auto 5’s sex workers. When the young woman asks the character, apparently Franklin, to detail his “dirtiest fantasy,” the player selects “Decline Service” from the drop-down menu, prompting the lady to leave in a huff. The user had previously parked their car at the edge of a high rise, hundreds of feet above a busy highway. Upon exiting through the passenger door, then, the woman almost immediately falls to her death. Interestingly, the post on the GTA VIRAL TikTok page has attracted well over one million views. Other TikTokers have also shared the video more than 21,000 times. Many of the video’s most popular comments joke about the woman at least having time to close the passenger door. Given the clip’s popularity, it won’t come as too much of a surprise if other GTA 5 players try replicating the “dirtiest fantasy” trick.

GTA 5 cost an insane amount to make—and GTA 6’s budget is 8 times bigger – Dexerto
GTA 5 cost an insane amount to make—and GTA 6’s budget is 8 times bigger RockstarVideo games are not cheap to make, and that was the case when Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in 2013. With GTA 6 on the horizon, analysts have revealed how much Rockstar is spending on it, and the number will truly blow your mind. GTA 6 might be the most hyped game ever. Ever since the first trailer dropped in December 2023, players have been eagerly hunting for every crumb of information they can find. One of the most interesting aspects of game development is how much money companies invest in their creation. With GTA V setting new records for map size in the series and the next game set to eclipse that, it’s fascinating to learn the cost of creating these huge experiences. Unfortunately, Rockstar won’t reveal how much they’ve spent, but analysts have used their expertise to give us a good idea of the money invested in the world’s most famous gaming franchise—and it will make your eyes water. How much did GTA 5 cost to make? Financial services firm Sterne Agee estimates Rockstar spent $137.5 million developing GTA 5. Including an approximate marketing cost between $69 million and $109.3 million, the total cost of Grand Theft Auto 5 is believed to have set the company back up to $246.8 million in total. What is GTA 6’s budget? If you thought Grand Theft Auto 5’s budget was big though, well, strap yourself in. Analysts predict that GTA 6’s costs sit at $2 billion. That includes development, marketing, and other expenses linked to the production and release of the game. If you need a visualization of that, the graph below shows just how far GTA 6’s budget outstrips its predecessor. To truly put this into perspective, let’s look at the three most expensive games of all time. Modern Warfare 3 reportedly cost $1 billion, Red Dead Redemption 2 sits at $540 million, and Cyberpunk 2077’s budget is estimated at $436 million. You need to combine all three of those games to equal the amount Rockstar is expected to spend on Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar hopes that this significant investment in the game will pay off when GTA 6 releases in 2025. It seems likely though, with GTA 5 generating close to $8 billion in revenue in the 11 years since it launched. With in-game purchases and subscriptions like GTA+ contributing to 78% of Take-Two Interactive’s (Rockstar’s parent company) revenue in 2023, it’s expected that the developer will double down on this model, meaning Grand Theft Auto 6 could outstrip the impressive earnings of GTA 5.

GTA 5’s casino update was so popular it broke the game – Dexerto
GTA 5’s casino update was so popular it broke the game Rockstar GamesGTA V’s casino update in GTA Online, which added the much teased Diamond Casino & Resort to Los Santos, was so popular that following its release it actually broke the game. GTA servers hit hard Droves of Grand Theft Auto Online players that wanted to visit the new casino found themselves unable shortly after the update went live. Downtime was reported on GTA 5 across all platforms on July 23, the same day as the Casino Diamond & Resort DLC went live. Rockstar’s data centers have generally been very stable throughout the life of GTA 5, but even their presumably expensive servers couldn’t handle the influx of new and returning GTA players. North America and Europe were most affected, with the PS3 being hit particularly hard. Issues ranged from not being able to join online lobbies, to the game freezing and a generally laggy experience. The problems even crossed over into GTA’s online racing where other players’ cars would teleport all over the place, essentially making it unplayable. Mass migration back to Los Santos The massive increase in players trying to play GTA online can be seen on the Steam charts. Over the last month there have been an average of around 70,000 concurrent players causing trouble in Los Santos. Following the casino update though, this spiked to 160,000 reaching a peak of just under 200,000. As of writing there are 158,000 players currently playing. Read More: 22 new vehicles leaked for Diamond Casino – The 200,000 figure which was achieved yesterday is actually the most concurrent players that have been playing since its release on PC in 2015. Plenty to do at the Diamond Casino The Diamond Casino is situated in Vinewood Park Drive, next to the racetrack. It is more than a casino though, on top of various ways to gamble, the new update adds luxury penthouses, which are fully customizable, rooftop parties, new vehicles and a new online storyline with new missions to play. Whether citizens of Los Santos are just curious as to what the Diamond looks like, need yet another luxury apartment or car, gamble their GTA dollars away or play for the missions – they have flocked back to GTA, even more than Rockstar predicted.

GTA 5 Casino griefer gets ultimate karma on the Lucky Wheel – Dexerto
GTA 5 Casino griefer gets ultimate karma on the Lucky Wheel Rockstar GamesGTA 5’s Diamond Casino offers players plenty of ways to win big cash payouts and luxury prizes. However, just like every multiplayer game, there a few players who are out to cause trouble. While it’s inevitable that you’ll come across online trolls when playing online in GTA 5, there are times where you just don’t expect it. After all, meeting a grizzly end while tearing through the crime-infested streets of Los Santos is all a part of the experience. In fact, it’s a rare occasion if you don’t manage to catch a bullet from a fellow player. However, one area many players don’t expect to get griefed is in the game’s Casino. This glitzy gambling hub features everything from slot machines, roulette wheels, and track horse racing. Not only do these mini-games give players the opportunity to win huge amounts of money, they can also offer a brief respite from the game’s most notorious trolls. However, one player quickly found that this wasn’t the case. GTA 5 trolling gone wrong One of the most popular mini-games available in GTA Online’s Diamond Casino is the Lucky Wheel. This wheel can be spun once every real-life 24 hours and offers players the chance to win everything from cash prizes to luxury cars. As a result, many players often head over to the Casino every day in order to try their luck at winning it big. Unfortunately, Reddit user littleolemanboy quickly found that this simple task would become frustratingly difficult. In order to spin the Lucky Wheel, only one player can be near the activity at one time. This makes it particularly difficult to access should another player be nearby. Littleolemanboy quickly found that this was the case when another GTA Online player began to constantly block them from using the Lucky Wheel. Every time littleolemanboy attempted to spin the wheel, they were instantly blocked from accessing the machine. Read More: Best GTA RP servers and how to join them – This back and forth carried on for five minutes before the troll eventually slipped up, giving littleolemanboy just enough time to spin the wheel. The wheel began cycling through a the various prizes before finally landing on the podium vehicle. Not only had littleolemanboy beaten this annoying troll, they also got the added bonus of rubbing it in their face. The Lucky Wheel winner proudly strolled up to the troll and began to cheer, while the frustrated griefer flipped him off. It’s certainly safe to say that this online troll played themselves.

GTA 5 can now be played on an original Game Boy – Dexerto
GTA 5 can now be played on an original Game Boy YouTube: there oughta beHave you ever wanted to play a Grand Theft Auto game on something that isn’t an Xbox, a PlayStation, or a PC? Well, this coder has you covered because thanks to him, GTA 5 can now be played on the original Game Boy. Known for its hard-hitting story and overall mayhem from its online feature in later renditions, the GTA franchise has captivated many fans since the release of its first game back in 1997, Grand Theft Auto. Since then every game has had something to offer, but its latest release, GTA 5, has brought something more special. With playability on numerous consoles such as the latest Xbox and PlayStation consoles and PC, GTA V can be played on nearly everything. Having the ability to play a game on numerous devices is a boon, but what if you could play it on an original Game Boy? Coder manages to get GTA 5 on an original Game Boy A coder by the name of Sabastian Staacks has given GTA 5 fans the ability to play the game on an original Game Boy. “A few weeks ago I created a Game Boy cartridge with built-in WiFi,” Staacks said. “Now I taught it to stream video and play games—in full resolution. At 20 fps. On an unmodified original Game Boy.” My WiFI cartridge on the @analogue Pocket. It works right away, but with a small timing problem: Those horizontal glitches are not present on the original #gameboy. Still, I am very impressed that the Pocket is so close to the original.https://t.co/tBC05jGYBP pic.twitter.com/sU9B2BikO2 — Sebastian Staacks (@diconx) January 15, 2022 Through his blog, There Oughta Be, Staacks gave step by step instructions on how to get GTA 5 on a Game Boy cartridge by first creating one with built-in WiFi that allows games to be transferred to it, giving birth to the Rockstar title on a Game Boy. Alternatively, Staacks also put out a YouTube video explaining all of his steps. The video showcases the game running on the Game Boy and it’s exactly what you’d expect: GTA 5 in all its glory but on hardware that was released prior to the 90s even beginning. Unfortunately, it’s not the technical prowess of a fully decked-out gaming PC, but if you’re looking to get a more retro feel for a franchise that spans over 20 years, then this is the way to do it.

GTA 5 actors show behind the scenes of ‘Lamar roasts Franklin’ meme IRL remake – Dexerto
GTA 5 actors show behind the scenes of ‘Lamar roasts Franklin’ meme IRL remake PlayStation Haven/RockstarThe voice actors of Franklin and Lamar from GTA 5 gave us an inside look at just how much work went into making the IRL version of their famous meme with a behind-the-scenes look. “Lamar roasts Franklin” is one of the most memorable scenes from Grand Theft Auto 5. After a story mission, Lamar takes no mercy on what he calls Fraklin’s “ol’ yee-yee ass haircut.” Even though GTA 5 and the joke itself came out in 2013, there’s a good chance you’ve seen some version or another of it popping up on your YouTube recommended vids, Twitter feed, or other social media recently, as it’s apparently going through a bit of a renaissance to start off 2021 (just search “Lamar roasts Franklin” on YouTube and you’ll see what we mean). Why exactly this scene has exploded in popularity recently is anyone’s guess, but it didn’t take long at all for Shawn Fonteno (who plays Franklin) and Gerald ‘Slink’ Johnson (voice of Lamar) to act it out themselves IRL to get in on the trend. Darth Vader roasting Franklin might be entertaining, but we’d say that the real people who played the characters actually living out the scene is one of the best versions yet. A lot of people seem to agree since the clip was viewed over a million times on the first day of being posted alone. The fact that the actors were able to get together with a crew and film the scene is a feat on its own, especially considering current events going on, but it’s also impressive they were able to basically perfectly recreate the scene in just over five takes — down to the every last in-game movement. We have to give it to Slink and Fonteno here, they both knock it out of the park with their timing and delivery. This isn’t a surprise since they probably went through a few takes making the game, but still, it’s been close to a decade since that happened. To really appreciate how much the IRL recreation sticks to the in-game version, just take a look at this comparison video. The two are so spot on, the audio tracks basically synch up at a couple of different points. While GTA fans might still have a while to wait around for the next installment in the series, at least we have the dynamic duo of Franklin and Lamar working hard to give us content until then.

GTA 5 actors go viral after recreating Franklin’s iconic roast in real life – Dexerto
GTA 5 actors go viral after recreating Franklin’s iconic roast in real life PlayStation HavenLamar Davis roasting Franklin Clinton in Grand Theft Auto V took on a life of its own as a viral meme and now Shawn Fonteno and Gerald ‘Slink’ Johnson, the actors behind these popular characters, have made it real. Despite GTA V releasing all the way back in 2013, it continues to be an unstoppable force in the gaming industry. It’s consistently among the best selling games every month and GTA Online still pulls in millions of players with fresh updates. A large part of the reason why the Rockstar title has become one of the biggest games of all time is thanks to its well-written characters. From the unpredictable Trevor Philips to the hilarious Lamar, the characters always had you wanting more. Even seven years after its release, Fonteno and ‘Slink’, the actors behind Franklin and Lamar respectively, have now gone viral like never before. The actors recreated an iconic moment from early in the game’s storyline, capturing the attention of fans around the world. These characters were always butting heads in amusing ways but one particular roast outside of Franklin’s residence recently became a meme-worthy clip. GTA 5 actor warns he’d have to “kill” IShowSpeed if he gave away GTA 6 secret – Dexerto
GTA 5 actor warns he’d have to “kill” IShowSpeed if he gave away GTA 6 secret YouTube/IShowSpeed/Rockstar GamesIShowSpeed was left terrified after asking a big GTA 6 question to Ned Luke, the voice actor for Michael in GTA 5. GTA 6 will finally be released next year and while the first trailer confirmed many theories about the upcoming title, fans still have many questions about their return to Vice City. One of the biggest questions players have about GTA 6 is how or if it will connect in any way to GTA 5, given the game’s legacy and popular YouTuber IShowSpeed was no exception. After finishing GTA 5’s story mode in a wild 17-hour stream, the YouTuber hopped into a call with Ned Luke where he began inquiring about GTA VI only to be threatened in the process. IShowSpeed terrified after asking GTA 5 actor about GTA 6 secret During the broadcast, IShowSpeed and Ned Luke discussed Grand Theft Auto and the YouTuber seemed to have a million questions on his mind. “It’s crazy I’m actually talking to you! You don’t even know how crazy it is, I played that game for like fifty hours, bro. By the Michael, are you in GTA 6 or no?” Speed blurted out. While Luke seemed a bit taken aback by Speed’s question, he had a reply that put the streamer on notice and made him instantly regret asking about GTA 6. “I can tell you, but I’d have to kill you, man and then you wouldn’t be able to make me more money on the streams,” he replied, making the normally talkative Speed suddenly speechless. “F**k, that’s scary, bro,” he murmured. “I’m sorry.” As such, we still have no idea if Michael will end up appearing alongside Lucia and Jason in GTA 6, but Ned Luke has already praised the VI protagonist and defended her from fans who consider the female character “woke.”

GTA 5 actor responds as fans still desperate for GTA Online appearance – Dexerto
GTA 5 actor responds as fans still desperate for GTA Online appearance Rockstar GamesNed Luke, the actor behind Michael in GTA 5, has teased a potential GTA Online appearance from his character but fans aren’t quite sure how to feel about it. Over the last few years, several characters from the GTA V single-player mode have made the move over to GTA Online. Trevor and Franklin, two of the game’s main characters have both appeared, with Trevor even leading his own heist and Franklin being involved in The Contract update. The only one of the three main characters that has yet to make an appearance in GTA Online is Micheal. There have been a few updates that have had fans convinced that the mastermind from single-player would appear, but they’ve been let down. With the new Bottom Dollar Bounties update around the corner, there is another link to the single-player mode as Maude Eccles – the Bounty Hunter – makes a reappearance. And that has only made fans more desperate for Michael to join the party. So much so that one fan tweeted that they believe that he’ll be kept for GTA Online’s “final” big update. That drew the attention of Ned Luke, who voices the character, as he ultimately liked the post. The actor also responded to another fan who said the game “needs” a DLC about Michael. “Wouldn’t that be nice?” Luke said. Some fans took those interactions to mean that Michael will eventually appear, but others aren’t so sure. “This definitely isn’t him confirming anything. Though this does mean he’s definitely down to do it,” one said. “Don’t get your hopes up, why would he reveal anything when he 100% has an NDA with Rockstar?” another added. “A final mission with Franklin, Michael, and Trevor would be sick,” commented another fan. “Yet another case of a GTA fans setting themselves up for disappointment, even though I’d love a Michael DLC,” another chimed in. The actor isn’t shy about talking up his love of the Grand Theft Auto series, and has regularly streamed himself playing GTA 5. It ultimately remains to be seen if he’ll reprise his role at some point before GTA 6 releases, but it’s something some fans are still hopeful of seeing.

GTA 4 remaster still coming and with other games too according to leaker – Dexerto
GTA 4 remaster still coming and with other games too according to leaker Rockstar GamesA Grand Theft Auto leaker has claimed that Rockstar Games are still planning a GTA 4 remaster, but they could follow the Definitive Edition and bundle it with other games. Throughout 2021, the Grand Theft Auto community was set alight with hype after it was revealed that Rockstar Games would be remastering GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. The bundle was eventually released as the ‘Definitive Edition’ but the excitement quickly fell away due to problems with the remasters. While many fans just want to get their hands on GTA 6 at this point, there have also been claims that the iconic game developers would be reviving GTA IV with a remaster of its own. Even though things had gone quiet on that front for a while, a new set of claims have been made about the remaster, and it looks like it’ll be following in the footsteps of the Definitive Edition. The claims come from Matheusvictorbr-, who has made plenty of claims about GTA 6 and GTA Online over the last few months. Though, they’ve yet to be proven one way or the other. Read More: When is GTA Online’s 2022 Summer Update? – According to the leaker, who was speaking to XFire about Rockstar’s plans for the future, a GTA IV remaster is coming “eventually” but it will be as part of a bundle. Like the Definitive Edition, it will supposedly be a three-game collection, but there is no mention of what the other two games would be. It would be easy to suggest that Rockstar may be planning a remaster of the GTA 4 Complete Edition, which included GTA IV and it’s two DLC add-ons – the Lost and the Damned, and the Ballad of Gay Tony. Though, who knows. Like with everything else GTA-related, it remains a game of wait and see until Rockstar says something themselves, but they’ve remained pretty quiet on things in recent weeks.

GTA 3 Remastered cheats for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC – Dexerto
GTA 3 Remastered cheats for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC Rockstar GamesLiberty City is where many fans first fell in love with Grand Theft Auto, but it’s also the first time many of us got to use GTA 3 cheats for the first time. Here are all the codes we know of. GTA 3 was a game-changer, not just for Grand Theft Auto, but for all open-world games. Nothing like it had ever been seen on console before. The streets of Liberty City rendered in full 3D was a sight to behold, and the gameplay was addictive, but what was even more fun was spawning a tank with GTA 3 cheats and causing anarchy. With a remaster of GTA 3 now here, it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves of all the game’s iconic cheat codes. A word of warning, though – using cheats will disable trophies and achievements. It’s also worth noting that not every cheat will work, as confirmed by producer Rich Rosado in an interview with USA Today (via GLHF). “We actually had to remove a couple for technical reasons, certain things that didn’t play well in the Unreal base.” “But that’s actually where I’ll leave it. There’s some fun with discovery. I’m not saying plus or minus, but I’d rather not just go right on the nose before the release of the game and go straight to the end credits.” Contents PlayStation GTA 3 cheats The following GTA 3 cheats are for PlayStation consoles and can be used across PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5: All Weapons: R2, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up – More Money ($250,000): R2, R2, L1, L1, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up – Full Health: R2, R2, L1, R1, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up – Full Armor: R2, R2, L1, L2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up – Change into a random outfit: Right, Down, Left, Up, L1, L2, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up – Raise Wanted Level: R2, R2, L1, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right – No Wanted Level: R2, R2, L1, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down – Increased Gore: Square, L1, Circle, Down, L1, R1, Triangle, Right, L1, X – Improved Car Skills: R1, L1, R2, L1, Left, R1, R1, Triangle – Invisible Cars: L1, L1, Square, R2, Triangle, L1, Triangle – Blow Up All Cars: L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, Triangle, Square, Circle, Triangle, L2, L1 – Fly Cars Like the Dodo: Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Down, L1, R1 – Spawn A Tank: Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle, Circle, R1, L2, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle – Slow Motion: Triangle, Up, Right, Down, Square, R1, R2 – Fast Motion: Triangle, Up, Right, Down, Square, L1, L2 – Speed Up Time: Circle, Circle, Circle, Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle – Pedestrians Hate You: Down, Up, Left, Up, X, R1, R2, L1, L2 – Pedestrians Fight Each Other: Down, Up, Left, Up, X, R1, R2, L2, L1 – Crazy Pedestrians with Weapons: R2, R1, Triangle, X, L2, L1, Up, Down – Clear Weather: L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, R1, L2, Triangle – Cloudy Weather: L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, R1, L2, Square – Rainy Weather: L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, R1, L2, Circle – Foggy Weather: L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, R1, L2, X – Xbox GTA 3 cheats The following GTA 3 cheats are for Xbox players across all consoles that the game has been released on. Grand Theft Auto voice actors tease fans over GTA 6 rumors – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto voice actors tease fans over GTA 6 rumors Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto 6 might well be one of the most highly anticipated games in history, despite not even being confirmed to be in development, and now even the game’s voice actors are trolling players about it. Fans of the franchise have had to wait longer than ever before for a new installment, as GTA 5 was released back in September 2013 on the previous generation of consoles, with many members of the game’s online community left with nothing else to do but snoop around for clues for the next game. Despite numerous apparent leaks claiming to have revealed the destination of a new map, characters and more, there’s still no official announcement been made by Rockstar Games. In terms of official voices, though, some have been chiming in loud and clear on social media. Voice actors of both Franklin Clinton and Michael De Santa have been interacting on Instagram, starting with a post of the former – played by Shawn Fonteno – who uploaded an image of himself in a motion capture suit on January 24. “Y’all don’t start with these GTA rumors, it’s FBF,” he said, which prompted a response from Ned Luke, who plays the part of Michael in GTA 5. Luke said: “GTA VI confirmed. Story DLC confirmed. Jet pack confirmed. VI map set on moon confirmed,” followed by a series of star emojis and a shrug. While these posts don’t make anything obvious in terms of GTA 6’s development, it certainly shows that people that have worked with Rockstar in the past are recognizing the hunger from the community for the first look at a new game, and have started to troll them about it. Without a shadow of a doubt, if everything Luke said in that post was real and GTA 6 was confirmed, with the return of a jetpack, DLC content and more fans would be delighted. But, there’s been no suggestion from developers that we’re any closer to news of that sort any time soon. Until we get an official announcement, the rumor mill will keep turning, and people will probably continue to troll players too.

GTA V gets “expanded and enhanced” for PS5 and Xbox Series X – Dexerto
GTA V gets “expanded and enhanced” for PS5 and Xbox Series X Rockstar GamesDuring Sony’s official “The Future of Gaming” livestream on June 11, it was revealed that an “expanded and enhanced” version of Grand Theft Auto V will be making its way to consoles in 2021. Grand Theft Auto VI still hasn’t been announced just yet, and that may be because Rockstar Games is still looking to get as much mileage as possible out of Grand Theft Auto V. With the advent of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the game is going to get a new lease on life with a newly-enhanced version you’ll be able to enjoy on both new consoles when they debut. The announcement came during Sony’s PlayStation 5-centric event today, where a wide variety of new titles for the upcoming system were shown off. In addition to announcing that Grand Theft Auto V was officially getting an updated version, there are freebies in store for folks looking for some instant gratification. Right now, PlayStation 4 owners who already have a copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 will get $1 million in GTA Cash until the PlayStation 5 version launches in 2021. It’s a great time to dive into the series, especially if you’ve been waiting on the “very best” version to play before taking the plunge. GTA V “enhanced” for PS5 and Xbox Series X Rockstar Games confirmed following the initial Grand Theft Auto V announcement that the game would also be coming to Xbox Series X as well. The official press release indicated that “the adventures of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor are coming to a new generation of consoles.” At present, it isn’t exactly clear what “expanded and enhanced” in this context. According to Rockstar, it means “a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console’s powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever.” Interestingly enough, Rockstar is also interested in releasing a standalone version of Grand Theft Auto Online in the second half of 2021. For its first three months on the market, it will be available as a freebie exclusively for PlayStation 5 players. Following that, it appears it could end up with a price tag, though it’s currently free to anyone who owns a copy of Grand Theft Auto V. Additional announcements regarding the future of Grand Theft Auto V on the next console generation are still to come.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy remaster clues get GTA fans excited – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy remaster clues get GTA fans excited Rockstar GamesGTA 6 might be the project almost everybody wants Rockstar Games to reveal, but a new leak points to something very different coming soon. A Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy remaster appears to be in the works. For months now, there has been speculation that the next Grand Theft Auto game would be the first to release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Then, there was the announcement that GTA Online would be receiving a big update first. Next up, all clues are pointing towards a remaster potentially being next in line. This news comes just a day after we reported on a Rockstar Games employee, who mentioned the development of “unannounced games” on their LinkedIn profile. On top of that, posts on the GTA Forums seem to suggest a remaster collection is in the pipeline. San Andreas, Vice City & GTA 3 remasters leaked A culmination of various clues has led players to believe San Andreas, Vice City and GTA 3 will be remastered for this generation of consoles. In the forums, Mach1bud (tagged as staff), placed a cryptic post on there for all to see, hinting at a remaster – reported by GTA Base. Some other users thought they might have been leaking to the wrong forum, but they quickly brushed that theory aside. They said: “Oh I know very well what forum I should be in and I know that you know that if I were to post these in those forums everyone would begin to know what we know. “I’ve wanted this to happen for many years now and I’m glad it’s happening sooner rather than later.” Not only that, but Twitter user uNi also followed up by posting three Shark Cards, which regular players know are used to add money to GTA Online. Each of the cards have an interesting detail on them, stating the dates 2001/2002/2004. Read More: Fastest GTA Online cars and best to buy – Some fans have speculated that, because these were the release dates for the rumored remastered games, that this also feeds into the previous leak. Could they release before GTA 6? It’s worth noting that uNi is an admin on the GTA Forums, and regularly tweets from GTA Net – a popular news source for Grand Theft Auto fans. With confirmation of GTA 6 being developed still very much a rumor at this point, there is a chance that Rockstar Games is working on two huge projects. Though, if accurate, this could suggest that a Trilogy comeback may actually surface much sooner than anticipated – possibly even before we see the next new installment to the franchise.

Grand Theft Auto Online finally set to receive long-awaited Casino update – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto Online finally set to receive long-awaited Casino update Pixabay / Rockstar GamesIt looks like Grand Theft Auto Online players will soon be able to visit the Casino after waiting almost six years for it to open its doors. When Grand Theft Auto V‘s online service launched in 2013, players were quick to spot a desolate casino tucked away in the northern section of the map, sadly closed to the public. There was an ‘Opening Soon’ banner hung up outside, remaining there for almost six years, with the ever-long promise of the building’s opening becoming the source of many internet memes and jokes. The Casino is finally set to open its doors A tiny yet silent GTA Online server update on June 6 removed the banner, and blocked off the Casino’s entrance with construction materials, hinting that an update could be on the near horizon. Infamous GTA dataminer TezFunz2 managed to extract data from the update that showed code had been implemented for the upcoming opening, and tweeted out confirmation to eager fans, saying, “There were rumors that GTAO Next Update will feature the casino, I can confirm it.” “Just now, [Rockstar] have updated the background script to set specific dates that will apply changes to the casino,” he continued. “You’ll notice changes happening near the casino as we move closer to release.” He also confirmed that the area outside the casino would be going through changes too, specifically happening sometime in the next week. You’ll notice changes happening near the casino as we move closer to release.#GTAOnline pic.twitter.com/nPb4V9OVg3— Tex2 (@TezFunz2) June 6, 2019 GTA VI – Everything we know It’s been six years since the release of GTA V, and January 2019 saw our first hint at a sixth installment for the series after cryptic job openings were posted onto Rockstar’s careers page. “Work with others to expand our next-generation graphics pipeline including advanced lighting and rendering techniques, and special effects,” one listing said, making it apparent they’re gearing up to make a game for next-gen consoles. Leakers have also insisted on having knowledge of VI, with one claiming that it’ll have a ‘Holiday 2020’ release date, and another saying it’ll be set in both Liberty City and Vice City. The second claim was seemingly backed up by a Rockstar employee, who posted an ad onto job site Glassdoor with the acronym “GTA 6 LS VC LC” – Los Santos, Vice City, Liberty City.

Grand Theft Auto movie reportedly coming before GTA 6 – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto movie reportedly coming before GTA 6 Rockstar GamesReports from sources who correctly revealed both the Resident Evil 4 remake and The Witcher Netflix series before their official announcements, are now claiming that a Grand Theft Auto movie is in development. Despite no news of another GTA game (expected to be GTA 6), Rockstar is apparently focusing on another medium entirely for the franchise. According to WGTC, the Grand Theft Auto movie is likely to release before the next installment of the game. It’s been over seven years since GTA V was released, back in September 2013. Red Dead Redemption 2 was Rockstar’s next major project, released in October 2018, and they have been pouring lots of resources into the ever-popular GTA Online. But, perhaps their next project really is a movie adaptation of the iconic GTA franchise, as these sources have supposedly been on the money before. The report claims that “the project is reportedly in the early stages and will loosely adapt the events of GTA V, presumably bringing us live-action versions of characters Michael, Franklin and Trevor.” At this point, it’s only possible to speculate about who would play these characters, but potentially the voice actors from the game would step up into the live-action roles. It’s possible that GTA Online’s success, which continues to add new players and is something of a cash cow for Rockstar and publishers Take Two, means they are in no rush to release the sixth game. The movie industry is currently in a downturn, for obvious reasons arising from lockdowns, but if the movie is still in the “early stages”, it may be some way off still. Not to mention, filming is also made more difficult in these uncertain times. The same can be said for game development also, and with not even a peep out of Rockstar regarding a new GTA game, that seems to be a long way off still too.

Grand Theft Auto leaker reveals new heist details & GTA 6 map location – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto leaker reveals new heist details & GTA 6 map location Rockstar Games[jwplayer 6Glq7oFz] A Grand Theft Auto leaker who accurately predicted GTA V would be ported onto PS5, as well as Online updates, has revealed information about upcoming Rockstar projects. This information comes from a leaker named ‘markothemexicam,’ who claims to have a roomate that used to work for Rockstar North before being let go along with nearly a 100 other employees. In his latest post, the leaker claims that the upcoming GTA Online Update is about “the elite prostitution business” and that the “Mile High Club building will finally be open.” Additionally, the “final” GTA Online update will be coming in December 2020 and it too will be a new heist: “I think that he [roomate] was referring to the last update for older generation,” he elaborated in the comments. Returning to Liberty City in December “[My roommate] said that the new location is Liberty City. Niko Bellic is coming back, with his voice talent Michael Hollick,” he added. “The heist is about robbing gold reserves in Liberty City. Many freemode activities and Quick Jobs will be added to remastered Liberty City and future updates for PS5 will be based on Liberty City.” This does line up with what many players had theorized as the future of GTA Online having locations from previous titles in the franchise. Vice City in GTA 6 Moving onto GTA 6, the leaker wrote that his roommate did not work directly on it, but did do some programming. According to markothemexicam, GTA 6 will take place in Vice City during an unknown time period. Furthermore, the game will have unique weather systems that will affect NPCs such as “random lightning strikes, and he also expects the announcement to be “next year,” but noted he wasn’t given a deadline. This leaker has a history of accurate predictions Back in April, Reddit user ‘markothemexicam’ made a post on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit where he revealed new details about GTA Online which would later come true. “Next GTA Online update deadline is July 2020, but might be moved to August 2020,” he said at the time. As it turns out, he was right as the Rockstar confirmed the update would be arriving this summer. He also accurately predicted the GTA V PS5 port, but noted how GTA Online content would be coming to the game’s single-player campaign: “Every vehicle and weapon and other content from Online will be added to story mode and that they are planning to add new system of discovering the vehicles, like legendary bike and similar to RDR 2 animal collecting.” As always, take all of this with a grain of salt, but it will be interesting to see whether anything of this new content he’s predicted ends up actually coming true.

Grand Theft Auto leaker claims GTA 6 is actually “halfway done” – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto leaker claims GTA 6 is actually “halfway done” Rockstar GamesA renowned Grand Theft Auto leaker has claimed that GTA 6 could actually be much closer than previous reports suggest – saying that they’ve heard that the game is “halfway done.” Rumors have been rife for months now around GTA 6 – where it will be based, the characters that might be involved and how far along in development the game actually is. On April 14, it was reported in a number of emails and interviews from Rockstar employees that GTA 6 is currently in “early development,” but some have doubted this. Tez2, a well-known and reliable GTA leaker, has questioned the reports and suggestions that the game is still in “early development.” “It’s hard to believe that when I’m hearing it’s “halfway done” or even beyond that,” he said in a tweet on April 16. He then compared it to Rockstar’s other uber-popular title, Red Dead Redemption, saying that the second installment in the series took 7 or 8 years and that main production started as soon as RDR1 was complete – adding that we should “expect the same with the next title.” Take note that RDR2 took approximately 8 or 7 years worth of development, main production started right after RDR1 release & recording sessions began in 2013 Expect the same with the next title, unless it’s “”early”” as in we are nowhere near release which is more believable.— Tez2 (@TezFunz2) April 16, 2020 Tez2’s final point was that maybe by “early” they mean it’s still nowhere close to being released, which is apparently “much more believable.” Recent rumors suggest the new game could be available in “late 2020 or early 2021,” while other financial projections expect a release date of 2021-22 – meaning we could still be two or more years away from getting our hands on Rockstar’s next effort. Regardless of when the game is due to come out, there are clearly conflicting expectations of how far along in the development process GTA 6 is, so we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement from Rockstar themselves for any confirmation.

Grand Theft Auto gets ported to Nintendo Switch – kind of – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto gets ported to Nintendo Switch – kind of Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto may not have a presence on Nintendo Switch officially, but that hasn’t stopped modders from porting the game onto the system. The game in question is Grand Theft Auto 3, which is somewhat of a classic of sorts, having released originally on the PlayStation 2 back in 2001. YouTuber ‘eradicatinglove’ showcased how the game works on the console in an educational video. Through the use of custom firmware and a GTA Switch zip file that is placed on an SD card, you can get the game to run on your Switch. This is all thanks to the user Grabber on the gbatemp website. In a post titled “re3-nx: Reverse engineered GTA 3 for Nintendo Switch,” Grbber explains how the game runs and how the project came about. “The re3 project is done by the people at GTAmodding/RockstarVision, a group of dedicated GTA modders,” the user explained. Additionally, the game runs at 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 30fps. “You can turn off the frame limiter which should give nice high framerates,” Graber said. “You can rebind controls, configure audio, graphics, language, etc. Saves are stored on the userfiles folder.” As you can see in the video, GTA 3 looks really well done in the Switch’s menu screen looking exactly like it belongs on the console. Though the game has been ported to many platforms over the years including mobile phones, it still doesn’t have a release on the Switch. It’s unclear why Rockstar has neglected the console, but it’s not like the company doesn’t support the big N. It was, after all, the Nintendo DS where Rockstar first launched their timed-exclusive GTA China Town Wars. Sadly, that was a long time ago and there haven’t been any new titles on Nintendo platforms since. Hopefully, Rockstar ends up making some more official Switch ports in the future and maybe even brings Grand Theft Auto online to the mobile-home console hybrid.

Grand Theft Auto fans worried Mafia 4 will impact GTA 6’s release – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto fans worried Mafia 4 will impact GTA 6’s release Rockstar GamesGTA 6 fans are expressing some concern that Mafia 4’s 2025 release might mean GTA VI will be moved to the following year. Mafia: The Old Country was revealed at Gamescom and is set to be released during Take-Two’s fiscal year 2026. Take-Two is also Rockstar Games’ parent company and has maintained that GTA 6 is scheduled for Fall 2025. However, with the two open-world games possibly releasing close together, fans think there’s a chance GTA gets delayed. Following Mafia 4’s announcement, fans began to debate on Reddit about whether or not this could be bad news for their planned vacation to Vice City. “I don’t really want to stir up worry but it has me worried because if we get a date for Mafia 4 before GTA VI I’m pretty sure that’ll hint when GTA VI will drop and if that date is in fall 2025… I don’t even want to say this… but GTA VI may be getting delayed into 2026,” one player said. Others in the comments agreed, remarking how they’re hopeful the two games aren’t impacted by each other. “I hope it doesn’t interrupt the GTA 6 release date. Excited to play both of ’em,” someone else chimed in. “GTA 6 is almost definitely getting delayed. The game NEEDS to be perfect. The internet will absolutely rip it to shreds if it isn’t,” a more pessimistic user commented. “The issue is, the longer they delay it, the more pressure gets placed on Rockstar. Its a stressful time for all involved, that’s for sure!” Many players, however, were blown away by the fact both games are currently slated for 2025 and believe that either way, Take-Two would be making an incredible amount of money. Fans are still eagerly awaiting a second GTA 6 trailer and official gameplay reveal, but leaks have indicated that one could be arriving before the end of the year. Still, with how long fans have been patiently waiting for a new Grand Theft Auto, it’s easy to understand how heartbroken they’d be if a delay is announced.

Grand Theft Auto fans want this iconic character to return in GTA 6 – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto fans want this iconic character to return in GTA 6 Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto players are asking Rockstar Games to bring back the infamous real estate developer from The Ballad of Gay Tony, as fans want to see him incorporated in the upcoming GTA 6. Rockstar Games finally announced that the next game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise is in development after years of fan speculation. Although we might be quite far from a release date, fans have already begun speculating the setting of the game as well as characters that could make an appearance. One GTA character, in particular, has piqued players’ interest for a potential return. GTA fans want Yusuf Amir back A post by user Ecstatic_Interest_35 on the GTA subreddit highlighted the desire to see loudmouth real estate developer, Yusuf Amir, return. Amir is one of the main characters from The Ballad of Gay Tony, the expansion to 2008’s Grand Theft Auto 4. Yusuf is one of the funniest and most insane characters from the GTA franchise, and players would love to see how he could be incorporated into a sequel. One user commented, “I wonder if he’s gonna take over an entire street with a helicopter again…” This was in reference to one of the many ridiculous stunts Amir pulled during his storyline in the expansion pack. Another in the comment section wanted to see Yusuf Amir return, but with one catch: “Hopefully with pants this time.” This is in reference to a scene where Amir is caught by his father, a wealthy businessman who funds all his ideas, walking in on him wearing no pants. Hopefully, for GTA fans, Rockstar can figure out a way to incorporate Yusuf Amir into the GTA 6 plot, wherever that may be.

Grand Theft Auto fan crashes live TV show to ask for GTA 6 release – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto fan crashes live TV show to ask for GTA 6 release Rockstar Games, Manu9564Grand Theft Auto 6 is shrouded in typical Rockstar Games secrecy and fans are growing so impatient for its release that they’re appearing on TV about it. When will Grand Theft Auto 6 release? That’s the question that everyone has been asking, and continues to ask, on a daily basis. Grand Theft Auto 5 is due to release an ‘Expanded and Enhanced’ next-gen update this November, but otherwise, Rockstar are quiet. The original trilogy is reportedly getting a modern makeover and fans are hyped to revisit classic locations. Yet, one fan is so tired of waiting for GTA 6 and took his need for more Rockstar goodness to new heights. Where is GTA 6? While most fans are taking to the likes of Twitter to pine for GTA 6, others have bigger ideas. For one fan, it was time they took matters to grander levels. Tweeting 2870 characters or driving down the streets of Los Santos clearly wasn’t doing it. No, this called for something special. Audience and crew members alike will no doubt have been surprised, when this unnamed fan spawned onto their set. Games show “Hit The Star” was going ahead as planned, or so they thought. Host Evelyn Burdecki became visibly confused when this enthusiastic fan stormed onto the stage. Speaking to the show’s moderator Elton, the fan simply asked: “Where the hell is GTA6? I’m still waiting for GTA6!” “Please set a sign. Shout into the camera “Where is GTA 6?” the fan continued to plead. In an unexpected turn of events, Elton spoke of his own GTA 5 experiences: “I haven’t even finished GTA 5 yet.” While the interaction was mainly jovial and harmless, the passionate GTA fan was quickly escorted off the premises. Grand Theft Auto players have taken kindly to the clip, offering their own jests on the bizarre event. Grand Theft Auto 6 has no official release date yet. Don’t forget to keep checking back in, as more developments unfold.

Grand Theft Auto 6 map concept would be perfect upgrade for GTA Online – Dexerto
Grand Theft Auto 6 map concept would be perfect upgrade for GTA Online Rockstar Games[jwplayer Gd3gIdIX]Grand Theft Auto Online fans have come up with an interesting map concept for GTA 6 that would really stretch the limits of the multiplayer mode. Even though there are no signs of Rockstar Games announcing GTA 6 anytime soon, fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have been coming up ideas of what they want to see next. Be it storylines, characters, or locations, fans have dreamt up pretty much everything. One pretty popular idea seems to be that of making the Grand Theft Auto 6 map a bit of a ‘best of GTA’ by combining a whole host of previous locations into one. Plenty of fans have put the idea forward in recent months. Yet, one fan has taken things slightly further, not just by taking certain locations, but by combining every GTA map in history. The huge concept was posted by Reddit user megahurst, with each GTA location taking up a part of the map in relation to where they would actually be on a map of the United States. For example, Vice City is in the southeast corner – looking just like Florida. The ridiculous size of the map had the Redditor joking about how ridiculous certain missions would be if, say, Rockstar followed through on the concept and it was also used in the multiplayer portion of GTA 6. Plenty of players got behind megahurst’s idea, noting that it could make planes actually useful given the vast space between the locations. However, in terms of it actually happening, it might be a little out there. Having so many populated cities in one map would take some almighty power to run but given that new console and PC upgrades will be released before GTA 6, Rockstar could easily unleash their biggest experience yet. It just probably won’t be this big.

Goat Simulator 3 ad using leaked GTA 6 footage gets taken down by Rockstar – Dexerto
Goat Simulator 3 ad using leaked GTA 6 footage gets taken down by Rockstar The Pokemon CompanyGoat Simulator 3 earned the wrath of GTA 6’s parent company Take-Two Interactive after it used leaked footage in one of its recent adverts. Those familiar with Coffee Stain Studio’s 2014 title Goat Simulator likely remember the studio’s penchant for irreverent humor in their games and online presence. However, it seems that sense of humor may have just put them in hot water with a major video game holding company, thanks to a recent advertisement for Goat Simulator 3. Grand Theft Auto’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has apparently struck down Coffee Stain Studio’s ad on all social media platforms thanks to its use of leaked footage of GTA 6. Goat Simulator 3 ad DMCA’d for using leaked GTA 6 footage On December 19, 2022, the official Goat Simulator Twitter account tweeted out the ad with the caption, “Meet Shaun, the NPC.” The advertisement centered around a mock interview surrounding the daily life of a random Goat Sim 3 NPC named Shaun During the ad, Shaun the NPC notes some of the other work he’s been featured in, as the trailer cuts to leaked footage from GTA 6, which notoriously flooded the internet in September 2022. Apparently, Take-Two Interactive did not find Coffee Stain Studio’s ad very funny, as the video is now currently unavailable on all social media platforms, “in response to a report by the copyright owner,” as seen on Twitter. In response, the Goat Simulator Twitter account responded with a popular meme of Ralph Wiggum from the Simpsons laughing while saying “I’m in danger.” At the time of writing, the ad is currently still unavailable to view on any of Coffee Stain Studio’s official accounts. Take-Two’s response is only natural when taking into consideration how seriously both it and Rockstar responded to the leaks back in September, with even the FBI getting involved in apprehending the leaker. It remains to be seen whether or not the ad will reappear in the coming days, but if Coffee Stain Studios is adamant about keeping in the footage of GTA 6, it doesn’t seem all too likely that Take-Two will lift its hold.

Genius GTA Online trick uses story mode characters to avoid certain death – Dexerto
Genius GTA Online trick uses story mode characters to avoid certain death RockstarA GTA Online player showcased a crafty trick that players can use to avoid certain death in vehicles by activating the in-built story mode character switch feature and backing out of the prompt. GTA Online has been out for almost ten years now, and players are still finding new tricks to take advantage of. For example, a player recently discovered one that doubles motorcycle delivery payouts, while another found a way to survive massive falls. However, there’s another simple trick that not everyone knows about — one that lets you avoid certain death in vehicles, regardless of the circumstances. And it’s effortless to do. A player showcased their experience with the trick on Reddit. The video they shared shows them on the verge of driving a car into a powerline, which typically means certain death at the speed they were going. But a few seconds before impact, they activated the in-built story mode character switch feature, which can be done by holding the down button on your controller’s D-Pad or Alt on a PC keyboard. This caused a black screen to pop up asking them if they wanted to quit the session, which they quickly backed out of and returned to the game. It stopped the car in its tracks, allowing them to drive off unharmed. A handful of players in the comments section also confirmed the trick works for them, some of whom have known for years. They also pointed out that it can be handy in races when other drivers try to ram you. Alternatively, they claimed you could use Alt+F4 on PC, which brings up the same prompt but can be done quicker. So, what are you waiting for? Give it a whirl and see if it works. It might come in handy against griefers.

Genius GTA Online trick makes Stab City survival mission much easier – Dexerto
Genius GTA Online trick makes Stab City survival mission much easier Rockstar Games[jwplayer wZHxbKhS]Grand Theft Auto Online players have found a spot that allows them to easily grind and rack up the double rewards from the Stab City survival mission. Every Thursday, Rockstar Games rolls out an update for GTA Online, giving fans new content to liven up the streets of Los Santos. These updates can bring anything from new vehicles to free money, new jobs, and, on the rare occasion, new buildings to explore. One staple of the weekly updates, however, are the bonuses. These bonuses, which are usually double rewards and sometimes extend to triple, are given to a category of jobs or races each week. With the July 30 patch, survival missions are worth double. Obviously, players are quick to hop on these bonuses and start grinding out missions to get cash. Though, for survival, you might want to check out the Stab City survival mission. The tip, which has been around for a little while in GTA Online and is well-known to dedicated survival players, was pointed out again by Reddit user UnsettledParadox. It centers around the Stab City mission, where, if you head to the small trailer park of Stab City in the northern part of the map, you can use a dumpster as a piece of cover to easily fend off the waves. By jumping inside the particular dumpster, which sits more or less in the middle of Stab City, you can become almost invulnerable to the attacks. Why? Well, if you use the first-person mode, enemies will regularly fire into the dumpster and not your head. So, you can literally hop on into the dumpster, switch your camera to first person, and take cover. Just sit there as the enemy waves sprint at you, and gun them down every once in a while. Using the double rewards to your advantage, you’ll easily start making upwards of $100,000 for around ten rounds of work. Just rinse and repeat when the bonus is active and your Maze Bank account will look pretty healthy.

Genius GTA Online trick lets players survive massive falls – Dexerto
Genius GTA Online trick lets players survive massive falls Rockstar GamesGTA Online players have found an ingenious trick to survive falling and take no damage whatsoever, so here’s how to do it. The severs of GTA Online are constantly full of players just looking for someone’s day to ruin. Armed with powerful weapons and futuristic vehicles, it can be annoying having to evade them. Thankfully, if you need to bail out of an aircraft to avoid an explosive end, players have discovered a valuable trick for survival. With a few easy steps, you can avoid taking damage after falling from a great height. Incredible GTA Online trick is a game-changer While most of GTA Online’s action takes place on the streets of Los Santos, you’ll eventually find yourself airborne. If you’re under attack from players in fighter jets or using the Oppressor, these simple steps from Reddit user u/aboodfromdiscord could get you out of danger in a pinch. Here’s what you need to do, to pull off this awesome discovery: Acquire a parachute (available from Ammu-Nation) – Travel to a high altitude in any aircraft or capable vehicle – Get out of the vehicle and immediately deploy your parachute – Aim and guide your character towards a body of water, then press triangle to enable ragdoll physics – Upon hitting the water, using the ragdoll physics should allow you to survive the impact – It is unclear whether this unintentional feature will be patched in the future, but for now, we recommend making the most out of it. GTA Online is set to receive a major content update, featuring the return of Dr.Dre and new business additions. However, the mixed reception and chaotic launch of the GTA Definitive Edition remasters has shifted Rockstar’s focus into patching up the game.

Genius GTA Online tip completely removes timer on sell missions – Dexerto
Genius GTA Online tip completely removes timer on sell missions Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto Online players have uncovered a clever trick that allows them to completely eliminate the countdown clock from the sell missions for their different businesses. Aside from heists and using the double cash rewards to your advantage, the best way to make money in GTA Online comes through the different businesses. Be it an Arcade, a nightclub, a gunrunning bunker, or the Motorcycle Club, these businesses make money in the background while you do whatever else you want. However, to get the money in your Maze Bank account, you do have to complete a sell mission when the time is right. This involves racing against the clock to complete a few deliveries and the small amount of time can be annoying – especially if all your businesses are located in the northern part of the map. Yet one player, Reddit user santosrmrz, has uncovered a neat trick that allows players to completely avoid the countdowns on the missions, making them easier than normal. According to the Redditor, if you open up your phone just as the sell mission is getting underway – just before Lester, Agent 14 or LJT call you, in fact – and leave the phone open, the countdown clock will freeze and not work as normal. This means you’ll have as much time as you need to sell your stock. Hate the short sell timer you get during Sell Missions in #GTAOnline? Just freeze it! As soon as you see yourself exit your business, open your phone before Agent 14/LJT calls you, and keep it open. This is great for the Dune FAV/Boxville sell missions. Credit: u/santosrmrz pic.twitter.com/dIA7cPiH0o— Classique (@ClassiqueGTA) June 16, 2020 However, before you rush off and try to use the tip for your missions, there are a few things to note. For starters, it may not work when you get a Post-Ops version of the sell mission – though plenty of players just close application when that shows up anyway. Two, LJT might call you before you can even pull out your phone before the Motorcycle Club missions, so you’ll have to be super quick on those ones. While the trick doesn’t really break any rules, it might be worth keeping an eye on future updates from Rockstar as they could eliminate it with a patch. They haven’t done just yet, so it’s worth pulling off during your sell missions so you can take your time with things.

Gaming insider teases details on possible GTA 6 announcement – Dexerto
Gaming insider teases details on possible GTA 6 announcement Rockstar GamesA gaming insider has teased some new information about when Rockstar could finally be unveiling GTA 6, plus some news on the PS5 and Xbox Series version of Grand Theft Auto 5. For the past few years, gamers everywhere have been waiting for Rockstar to reveal the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. While Rockstar has been silent, plenty of leaks have surfaced, including what could be a new map of Vice City. However, nothing concrete or official has materialized, but now, an insider is speaking up about when we may finally get a reveal for the long-awaited sandbox title. According to Foxygames, Sony and Rockstar will have some news about the next game including a “GTA VI partnership/deal” after the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online Enhanced Edition. 🔊 Expect details from #Sony & #RockstarGames about the Next GTA Game #GTAVI Partnership/Deal after the release of #GTAV #GTAOnline #PS5 Enhanced Edition in ETA 2012. It’s a BIG deal! — FoxyGames✨BUY BOXED GAMES (@foxygames_uk) October 30, 2020 “It’s a BIG deal!” the insider added. The reference to a partnership or deal is likely a call back to an earlier rumor that Dexerto reported on back in August. The rumor claimed that Sony reached out to Rockstar to make GTA 6 a timed exclusive on PS5 in a $750M agreement. While that news remains to be verified, it does make sense for Rockstar and Sony to only push GTA 6 once the new versions of GTA V and Online are out on next-gen hardware. So far, the enhanced version of GTA V is scheduled to be released in 2021 with Online being free to play and exclusive to PS5 for the first three months. Additionally, Foxygames stated Rockstar is are doing some impressive things with PS5’s ultra fast solid-state drive that players “wouldn’t believe.” 🔊 Hearing R* are doing things with the Ultra fast SSD you wouldn’t believe! ..illegal in 39 States. #GTAVI #PS5 — FoxyGames✨BUY BOXED GAMES (@foxygames_uk) October 30, 2020 The insider went on to add a GTAVI hashtag, suggesting that whatever is going on with the SSD, it’s going to be utilized for the next Grand Theft Auto title. Only time will tell if these comments end up coming to fruition, but it won’t change the fact that fans are waiting to celebrate and break the internet the second Rockstar makes things official.

Former GTA lead to show new game Everywhere at Gamescom 2022 – Dexerto
Former GTA lead to show new game Everywhere at Gamescom 2022 Build A Rocket BoyFormer Rockstar Games President and GTA lead Leslie Benzies will appear at Gamescom 2022 to showcase his new game, Everywhere. Benzies left his role at Rockstar North in 2016, then sued the company for unpaid royalties worth $150 million. The legal dispute lasted for several years, finally coming to a close in 2019 courtesy of a confidential agreement. Unsurprisingly, the industry veteran didn’t depart the world of video games for good. Along with two other ex-Rockstar developers – Matthew Smith and Colin Entwistle – Benzies is producing a new game, Everywhere, at Build a Rocket Boy. The public has seen little of the project outside of concept art. However, Benzies insists it will contain an unrestrictive open world with cooperative features. Ex-GTA lead to debut Everywhere game during Gamescom 2022 Gamescom 2022 kicks off later this month in Cologne, Germany on August 23. As details about exhibitors begin to surface, the official Gamescom website has confirmed that one company, in particular, will be in attendance. Build a Boy Rocket is set to appear as an exhibitor in some capacity. Notably, the studio plans to bring Everywhere along for the ride, as well. How much of the game Benzies and Co. will show is not yet known. Still, it constitutes a project that fans of open-world titles will most certainly want to keep their eye on. This isn’t the first time a former Grand Theft Auto developer has gone on to pursue a more ambitious GTA-like endeavor. Many will recall that series co-creator David Jones produced the original Crackdown with the goal of taking the GTA formula to the next level. Whether or not Leslie Benzies enjoys more success with Everywhere remains to be seen. Yet, Gamescom 2022 could shed some light on what the crew at Build a Rocket Boy has in store.

Game developer explains why viral GTA 6 map leak is “clearly a fake” – Dexerto
Game developer explains why viral GTA 6 map leak is “clearly a fake” Rockstar / Augur89A viral image of what is claimed to be the map for Grand Theft Auto VI has been picking up steam as of late, but one supposed game developer has listed all the reasons why it’s most likely a fake. [jwplayer wZHxbKhS] With GTA 6 still seemingly years away from seeing the light of day, the ever-patient fan-base has resorted to getting its news fix from leaks, rumors, and speculation. One of the more popular examples of this is the purported image of what some are claiming is the next game’s full map. The “map” is modeled after Miami, which seemed to hint that the sixth title in the series would be returning to Vice City. Furthermore, despite first surfacing back in 2018, it recently began gaining further attention when eagle-eyed players found more info about the source’s past history, including new details that they felt made the leak legitimate. However, a Reddit user named ‘bobert_hoses,’ who claims to be a game developer that specializes in 3D mapping and map concepts, debunked it as a fake from his point of view. The game dev dropped a whopping 10 “problems with the mainland,” – essentially issues with the leaked image’s design that don’t really add up with how such a map would normally be built. The user pointed out the lack of several important structures like highway interchanges, low-rise buildings, highway access to the airport, port areas, farm areas (which are apparently commonplace in South Florida), waterways, parks, and the Miami River. They also pointed out how the airport and surrounding aesthetics were “way off.” Read More: GTA Online October 15 update patch notes – “Overall, the flow of the city just seems like bad game-design and filled with unrealistic mistakes that I feel Rockstar Games are too good to miss when they design their maps,” the Redditor wrote. “Apart from the fact that the city seems like a full-on rectangular grid as well, which Rockstar Games doesn’t use when they design maps.” “Problems with the mainland: There’s no highway interchanges inside the city. Every GTA-map in the HD era contains a urban expressway network, this one doesnt. Real-life Miami has one too. – There are seemingly no low-rise buildings even though Miami is primarily a suburbanized urban area. – The airport does not have highway access which every airport in the HD-era has, which is just very unrealistic. – Airports in the U.S use buffer zones between the runways and other zones for noise and security reasons, which are simulated in every GTA game. This airport looks more like one you would find in Africa or South America. – There are no port areas ( Dodge Island is absent, no boats docked anywhere, no piers. ) – There are no farm areas near Miami (Vice City) in the map even though South-west Florida is a huge agricultural center. – There are almost no waterways in the city proper even though real-life Miami/Ft Lauderdale area contains a huge amount of canals, waterways, waterbeds for drainage. – Parks are completely absent in the city, there are no green areas or so called break-up areas to break the monotony in the urban area. Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami and park areas on South Beach doesn’t exist. – The Miami River is absent. A very important part of Miami is this river going through Brickell and Downtown Miami. – The aesthetic of Miami and its sorrounding areas are way off, It may seem accurate to the regular person, but anyone that has ever been to Miami or live there would see why this just feels wrong. Where’s the canals, where’s Dodge Island, where’s I-95, Where’s American Airlines arena or (If this is set in the 1980s, where is the race-track in Downtown Miami) I can go on and on.” – As shown in the image, this “map” is actually split into two sections: the mainland, which was discussed above, and the island, which was actually leaked much more recently than the other section. While they did admit that an island with a small city can be “much easier” to fake, they also pointed out that the continuous beach surrounding the entire island with no interruptions or variation is “very poor game-design and very unrealistic and poor utilization of map space.” The lack of access points like ports, docks, piers, marinas, or even an airfield means that there are no realistic ways for people to get on the island, which is an oversight too big for a serious developer like Rockstar to make. “This map is clearly a fake,” the purported developer wrote, “The author of it drew up a map in photoshop and used real-life imagery of Miami to fuse it together to a fictional map. When you take the faults into consideration and think about them, do you really think Rockstar would do those mistakes?” Whether or not this Redditor is actually a dev, they do bring up some very interesting and logical points, and even when the leak first surfaced, it was always going be a long-shot that it was the real deal. The question now is: as a GTA fan, are you disappointed or relieved if this map does turn out to be a fake?

Game-breaking GTA Online exploit gives players 10K RP every minute – Dexerto
Game-breaking GTA Online exploit gives players 10K RP every minute Rockstar GamesRockstar Games appear to have a big problem on their hands in GTA Online, as players have discovered a game-breaking glitch that allows them to rack up thousands of RP every few seconds. The game developers only rolled out their Summer Special update on August 11, which included over a dozen new vehicles and fresh missions to play through. Content added might be exciting for players, but it’s a big cheat that many are talking about, not so much the cars they can now drive around in. Flying up the ranks in GTA Online is a goal for much of the community and can take quite a lot of time to do. Well, that’s if you’re not using the latest glitch to launch yourself right up the levels in-game. One player on Reddit, HejMoreGadzo, has revealed an exploit that will significantly boost your RP. They noticed that the world records in Open Wheel racing are not being updated regularly, if at all. Read More: How to email players in GTA Online – “I was doing the new open wheel races solo, and all of the world records were easy to beat 1:20. So, I did the first lap 1:19, the other bit faster. Then I started the same race again and my record wasn’t there,” they posted. “The game is updating the person who did the record, the one you see when you start the race. For example, Doodooracer23 – WR – 1.24.567. And if you do 1:17, the game updates your time to his name. “And obviously the game cant assign this time to his name since he hasn’t done it. So, after you finish the game it resets.” Every time it resets it gives another player an opportunity to break the world record, gain max RP for doing so, and then reset to allow them to repeat the process as many times as they want. Essentially, if you’re good at racing in GTA Online, you could be sitting on a gold mine where RP is concerned. The user later confirmed in an edit that they had been raking in 10k RP every minute they race, which is clearly way higher than normal. It’s unclear as to whether or not Rockstar are investigating the issue, at the time of writing. There may be consequences for those using the exploit to their advantage as well, so think carefully before trying to pull it off.

Fuslie is so addicted to GTA RP her life is “falling apart” off-stream – Dexerto
Fuslie is so addicted to GTA RP her life is “falling apart” off-stream Rockstar Games100 Thieves star Leslie ‘Fuslie’ Fu is concerned her GTA RP “addiction” may be getting out of hand as the Twitch streamer recently told fans her actual life away from the virtual Los Santos is rapidly “falling apart.” “I think I’m getting a bit too much into GTA,” Fuslie admitted during her latest Twitch broadcast. After a hectic month pumping dozens of hours into the role-playing experience as one of the platform’s leading GTA Online personalities, Fuslie is concerned the grind is now consuming her entire life. Often venturing through the NoPixel server as her famous April Fooze character, Fuslie has skyrocketed in popularity to kickstart 2022. Though this surge hasn’t come without some hefty downsides, the streamer revealed. “My life is falling apart,” she said. “I’m genuinely too invested. It’s a bad addiction, I should re-evaluate my life.” Forcing herself to step away from the RP community for a short break, Fuslie outlined how much of a toll the self-admitted addiction was taking. Outside of her own streaming hours, she’s almost always watching “GTA clips until [she] can’t anymore. Until I have to sleep,” she explained. “I wake up and then I watch GTA clips,” the Twitch star added. “I am so obsessed that I am like, this is not healthy. This can’t be healthy.” Even after being invited on a four-day trip in the real world, Fuslie came close to canceling plans just to spend more time on the GTA RP server. “I am gonna miss four days of GTA, what’s gonna happen?” she stressed. Just the thought of “saying goodbye” to her in-game assistant for a few days brought her to tears. “This is not a normal reaction,” she added. “I’m in too deep.” At that point, Fuslie realized she needed to step away from the “bad” RP time-sink. Not only for her mental health but for her longevity in the scene as well. “I’m fully in love with this game and I want to make sure I stay loving it.” No doubt Fuslie will be loading back into NoPixel in just a few days, but it’s clear the popular streamer will be trying to spend less time role-playing moving forward.
