  • Apex Legends leak shows Crypto & Bloodhound using Pathfinder’s ability – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak shows Crypto & Bloodhound using Pathfinder’s ability Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has seemingly revealed new abilities for both Bloodhound and Crypto, allowing them to truly live up to the recon legend tag. One of the biggest things that sets Apex Legends apart from its other battle royale rivals is the use of the different characters and their abilities. Though these legends might be classed as offensive, defensive, recon, or support, but they have different skills that set them apart from each other. Playing as a recon character might mean that your team isn’t going all out to rack up kills, but instead, playing slowly and carefully. This can be seen with Crypto’s drone flying in from miles away. Though, he and Bloodhound might soon have new abilities to use. Reliable Apex Legends dataminer Biast12 revealed that there are in-game voice lines that show both Bloodhound and Crypto talking about using the Survey Beacons. The beacons in question, which allow players to get the location of the next safe zone, have only been accessible to Pathfinder in the past via his Insider Knowledge passive ability. Players who use the other two recon legends have been hoping, for quite some time, that’d they’d also get the ability – and now it appears as if it will be happening at some point. However, despite having the voice lines, there doesn’t appear to be anything about whether or not the legends would see their current abilities changed to accommodate it. Crypto’s passive is his Neurolink, while Bloodhound has its Tracker. Another data miner, Suum, previously leaked animations of Crypto and Bloodhound using the ability to hack the beacons. https://twitter.com/The_Suum/status/1260994087139893250 https://twitter.com/The_Suum/status/1260994023185166336 Something with each character’s abilities would likely have to change, but that would be on Respawn to figure out for an update that comes later down the line. Neither Bloodhound nor Crypto has a passive perk, something that other legends do, so it could fit in there – but we’ll just have to wait and see what the developers do.

  • Apex Legends leak shows Compound Bow weapon being tested with legendary skins – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak shows Compound Bow weapon being tested with legendary skins Respawn EntertainmentAccording to a reliable Apex Legends leaker, Respawn is currently developing three new weapons for the game. One of them is called the Compound Bow and it’s certainly caught the attention of the game’s community. Season 9 of Apex Legends is finally on the horizon and players are looking forward to all of the new content that Respawn has in store. It’s fair to say Season 8 has been a success for the developers with the community enjoying the King’s Canyon map changes and the new legend Fuse. However, as with all online gaming communities, Apex players are always seeking new information on future content coming to the title. This is especially true if the leaks relate to upcoming legends or new weapons. Well, reliable Apex leaker, Biast12 has revealed that Respawn is working on three brand new weapons for the game and one, in particular, is extremely exciting. Apex leaker reveals Respawn testing Compound Bow Trusted Apex Legends leaker Biast12 has revealed that three brand new weapons are being developed by Respawn. These include the Dragon LMG, the EPG from Titanfall, and long-awaited Compound Bow. Despite the Dragon LMG and EPG both looking to be great additions to Apex, it’s the Compound Bow that’s caught the attention of the community. While the game has 22 guns for players to pick up, there’s nothing that operates like a bow in the title. The Compound Bow has long been rumored to be coming to the Apex Games after artwork for the Crypto Map Room POI first surfaced. There is 3 weapons in development right now EPG Compound Bow Dragon (more on that in the next tweet)— Biast12 (@Biast12) April 11, 2021 While there are no clear images of the weapon in the game files just yet, Biast did reveal the bow’s legendary weapon skin names. These include Target Practice, Fringe Field, Dark Age, and Holmegaard’s Relic. Given how long the new weapon has been speculated on, players will be hoping that it isn’t too long before some of the textures are added into the game files so we can have a proper look at the developer’s hard work. Fingers crossed more information is released about the weapon soon so we can see the unique weapon in action. Keep in mind, as the bow is in development, all this information is subject to change so take the leaks with a pinch of salt.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals when map update and Season 4 teasers are coming – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals when map update and Season 4 teasers are coming EA / Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends data miner has revealed when the upcoming map update and season 4 teasers are scheduled to take place in-game. The hype for Apex Legends Season 4 has been continuing to build over the past few weeks as many fans are eager to see what Respawn has planned for the new season. It seems as if fans of the popular battle royale won’t have too much longer to wait, however, after a new leak revealed when some of the upcoming teasers are set to take place. According to leaks from shrugtal on January 18, teasers are expected to be released for a new update to the World’s Edge map as well as separate teasers for the start of the upcoming season. “Pretty big leak though, upcoming event timers for a World’s Edge map update TEASER and a Season 4 TEASER,” he revealed, sharing the teaser dates. Based on the leaks, players can expect to see three stages of the in-game teasers for the upcoming map changes take place on January 21, 23, and 28. Sorry for tweeting this out so late, I’ve been busy studying for university. Along with the dates shared for the upcoming World’s Edge map changes, shrugtal also revealed that the events are expected to feature some kind of hologram as part of the upcoming teasers. Although it is unclear just what is in store for, fans will not have much longer to wait with only days until the first teaser on January 21 and the start of Season 4 weeks later on February 4.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals when Kings Canyon bunkers will open – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals when Kings Canyon bunkers will open Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak has revealed the dates for when the bunkers scattered around Kings Canyon will open – and the first one isn’t too far away. When Apex Legends Season 5 got underway and the changes to Kings Canyon were revealed, players couldn’t help but notice a number of sealed hatches dotted around the map. The hatches, as some players quickly found, lead to underground bunkers – with one to the south of the map already being accessible if the game gives you a good drop path. Respawn has teased “big things” coming from the bunkers, but one leaker already has the dates for when they will open and what should be inside. Reliable data miner Shrugtal tweeted a map of the four bunkers and their respective locations – Terminal Station F-85, Terminal Station W-78, Terminal Station O-240, and Terminal Station L-19. The leaker also noted that the first bunker should “start to open” on June 16, the second on June 23, the next on June 30, and the last one on July 7. However, they won’t be “ready to enter” until a week later. So those dates, in the same order as above, would be June 23, June 30, July 7, and July 14. Some fans also noted that the letters for each bunker spell out ‘WOLF’ – which is what Loba’s name means in Portuguese. Big one today. Loot bunker map with release dates, names and big ticket loot spawns. Quest-related bunker not shown. First date is start to open, second date is ready to enter. They will eventually all be open. pic.twitter.com/dGhUNWvuwz — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) June 5, 2020 Three of the four bunkers will also have a dedicated gold variant weapon inside with these, according to the leaker, being the Sentinel sniper rifle, the Havoc rifle, and Prowler. Each bunker should have different items available inside, like ammo and healing, but it’s unknown if they’ll live up to the quality of the loot vaults scattered around World’s Edge. The four bunkers should all be open at the same time once the final hatch opening date comes – meaning that these spots should be pretty populated at the start of games come July 14. Though those dates have surfaced thanks to Shrugtal, Respawn could shake up their plans if an urgent update is needed to address something else in-game. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens come June 16. It’s possible that these bunkers will be part of the next collection event, which Shrugtal also claims will be called ‘Treasure Hunter’.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals upcoming epic skin for unreleased Volt SMG – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals upcoming epic skin for unreleased Volt SMG Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends gets a new weapon every season, and this season’s expected weapon, the Volt LMG, has already had an epic skin leaked by dataminers. For months now, Apex Legends leaks have suggested that Titanfall 2’s Volt SMG would be the next gun released in the popular battle royale. While it was initially expected to debut in Season 4, speculation now expects the sub to drop in with Loba at the start of Season 5: Fortune’s Favor—and the presence of leaked skins for the gun seems to confirm that. In Titanfall 2, the Volt is an energy-based SMG that fires ‘blue tracers,’ hitscan shots that glow blue and give away your position to enemies who are not already nearby enough to be getting beamed down. It excels at short ranges and can be expected to do the same in Apex Legends, possibly sitting somewhere between the R-99 and the L-STAR as a high-powered, but range-limited automatic weapon. Adding to hype over a new incoming SMG, dataminer ‘Suum’ tweeted out what appears to be an epic skin for the Volt—a blue variant with crackling lightning pulsing through dark blocks on the guns’ sides. https://twitter.com/The_Suum/status/1257790996793954324 From its appearance, the Volt looks like some sort of crossover of the L-STAR and R-99 with a chunkier frame than the former, but a much lighter stock than the latter. This fits with what we’d expect of the gun from its role in Titanfall 2. One interesting note is that the Volt appears to feature the same suppressor seen in its original iteration. While that barrel suppressor served no in-game purpose in the former game, it would be interesting if its inclusion is more than a cosmetic decision for Season 5. While there’s been no confirmation that the gun may be Apex Legends’ first to feature a silencing function, Suum appears to have confirmed that it will at least be the gun featured next season—as all four epic skins are already included in the game’s files. https://twitter.com/The_Suum/status/1257791833326997505 Season 5 releases on May 12 and, alongside Loba’s release and some possible changes to King’s Canyon—we’ll be sure to find out exactly what role the Volt SMG will play.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals upcoming Arena mode teaser in-game – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals upcoming Arena mode teaser in-game Respawn Entertainment/EAOne of the first looks at Apex Legend’s long-rumored Arena mode, which is set to bring a 3v3 team deathmatch-style experience to the battle royale in Season 9, has been leaked early. If you’ve been eagerly hoping for the first look at one of Apex’s worst kept secrets then it seems like that moment has finally arrived – but it might not be totally what you were expecting. Thanks to leaker Biast12, who’s has a reliable track record of accurate Apex Legends leaks, we now have our first look at a teaser for the upcoming Arena mode, which all players will be able to view in-game soon. Arena teaser in Apex Firing Range The teaser itself features the player getting into a ship in Firing Range, and being transported to a new area. They then get onto a platform, which raises them up into an arena with a giant hologram of Ash in the center. The actual area shown in the teaser is likely one of the arenas players will be able to jump into when the mode goes live in the future. Of course, the teaser is currently inaccessible as it’s not live in the game yet. That being said, Biast12 says that when it does go live, players will have to scan holo sprays in order to see it. Arena mode has leaked for a few months now. The mode was originally found in the game files back in October 2020 and since then, there have been even more leaks pertaining to the mode. Right now, the prevailing theory is that the mode will be added to the game during Season 9, which is set to start in just a few week’s time. This teaser is due to go live in April, in the build-up to Season 9. Ash’s involvement in the teaser might lead some to suspect that she will be the new Legend, but this is far from confirmed. Of course, we’ll just have to wait until Respawn adds the teasers into the mode and gives official details of the Arena mode. But, this is what the developers have been teasing as “more ways” to play Apex than just battle royale. Apex Legends Season 9 is due to start on May 4, after the conclusion of the War Games event.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals unreleased skins for Season 6 collection event – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals unreleased skins for Season 6 collection event Respawn/EAApex Legends data miners have revealed some of the new cosmetics coming in the unannounced Aftermarket collection event – including an incredible looking skin for Loba. With Apex Legends Season 6 finally here, fans of Respawn’s battle royale have been able to get to grips with the new legend in Rampart, the World’s Edge fortified map, and the new Volt SMG. Though there is plenty of new content in the season, some fans are already looking to the future and what’s on the horizon – especially when it comes to an all-new collection event. Data miners have already been able to get their hands on the name of the new event, which is called Aftermarket, and have gone deeper and find a few more details. That includes reliable leaker Shrugtal who, after finding the name and possible start date of September 15, managed to find a whole host of new cosmetics. The biggest of which, that they were able to find, was a new skin for Loba. There’s no real name for the skin but in the image that the leaker provided, she’s wearing a black, light blue, white, and purple outfit. But, the colors aren’t just static, they’re active. They glow and flow around the Translocating Thief’s outfit as she moves around. • Apex Legends leak reveals TDM-style mode played on Kings Canyon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals TDM-style mode played on Kings Canyon Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has shed more light on details about a team deathmatch style game mode coming to the battle royale, and it looks like it could be pretty fun. Across the different Apex Legends seasons, Respawn Entertainment have pumped out a number of unique limited-time modes – including a third-person mode, a night time map, and even an all-gold weapons mode. As well as those that have actually appeared in-game, a number of others have been leaked, and never actually arrived. The most notable of these is a team deathmatch style mode. Initial details were leaked back when the game launched in 2019. However, in October of 2020, an ‘arena’ tag was found in the game’s files, and now, a new leak has shed even more light on details about what the mode will entail. Again, the information comes from reliable Apex Legends leaker Shrugtal, who posted the follow-up leak back in October as well. Read More: When does Apex Legends Season 8 start? – “Arena triggers found in latest King’s Canyon map file. 3v3 TDM-style mode, teams spawn on A and B in Gibby bubble. 4 different loadouts,” the leaker tweeted on January 11. “One airdrop in center, one medical supply bin spawn at the side. 3 Ring stages. Many different “arenas” in different King’s Canyon areas.” The leaker also provided a rough sketch of what the mode could look like, based on the details that had been uncovered. If the real thing is anything like that, it seems this would be a frantic mode. Since its release back in Season 11, Storm Point has been a welcome addition to the map rotation in Apex Legends, introducing Gravity Cannons and dynamic wildlife to the Outlands. However, as it’s now been in the game for nearly two seasons, it’s expected that Respawn will be looking to overhaul or update the location with a set of new POIs, similar to Worlds Edge, Kings Canyon, and Olympus. So, when a huge set of leaks surfaced in mid-March confirming the devs had at least begun designing changes for the tropical location, it certainly got the community excited. Especially when one of the POIs appears to have been created inside a washed-up dead Leviathan. Apex Legends leak showcases Storm Point map changes As part of a huge set of leaks revealed on the ApexUncovered subreddit on March 22, a video of some Storm Point changes surfaced showing a brand new location in development next to The Mill. Although the area is clearly still in the early stages of design, it looks as if Respawn has attempted to construct a POI inside a washed-up dead Leviathan. Without a doubt, this would be one of the most unique areas in Apex Legends if it ever makes it into the game, but as the date of this recording is unknown, it’s possible the idea has been scrapped. Either way, it shows Respawn is starting to think out of the box when it comes to POIs, and who knows, it’s possible we could be battling in this location in a future season. On top of the dead Leviathan, there also seems to be an array of new armory buildings scattered across the map. Although these are just another type of structure in Apex, they can be found in multiple locations suggesting they could have a purpose relating to weaponry or loot in some way. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to know whether any of this content will ever make it into Apex, but it at least shows Respawn has plans for Storm Point in the near future. Finally, while KralRindo’s watermark is displayed at the bottom right of the leak, the dataminer has denied that they were the source of the information.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals special Legend-specific packs for each character – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals special Legend-specific packs for each character Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn are adding legend-specific cosmetic packs so you can get skins, badges, and more for the character of your choice. Having the brand-new skins, badges, trackers, and other cosmetics has become a source of pride for many Apex Legends players. They want all the original skins, and recolors, in their collection. To get them, though, you usually have to chance your luck with Apex Packs, and you may end up with cosmetics for a legend that you don’t own or play. That has led to some fans calling for new packs, or an addition to the in-game store, where you can buy what you want for a specific legend. Well, it looks like those calls are going to be answered. Reliable Apex dataminer and leaker GarretLeaks revealed that there is code in the game’s files for Season 10 relating to character-specific Apex Packs. These packs would work just like the normal ones, meaning you wouldn’t know what you’re getting until it’s opened. However, all the cosmetics would be for the legend of your choice. Additionally, the leaker notes that these packs would reward you with items you don’t already own for that legend, rather than giving your duplicates. And if you own every item for a specific legend? Well, the pack would just open like a normal Apex Pack. Timestamp of 1:07 As for when we’ll see these in-game? Well, the leaker noted that they could come towards the end of Season 9, but that is so full of content anyway, Season 10 looks more likely. In terms of price, there’s nothing mentioned for it, but if it’d work as a normal Apex Pack with three items, it seems reasonable that they’d cost the same amount – 100 coins. Though, it wouldn’t be a shock if they were slightly more expensive.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Shadowfall LTM returning with a twist – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Shadowfall LTM returning with a twist Respawn EntertainmentA new variant of the Shadowfall limited-time mode looks set to descend on Apex Legends for an upcoming Halloween event, according to new leaks. Shadowfall is a limited time-mode which first made its appearance during Apex Legends’ Season 3 Fight or Fright Collection event in October 2019. The LTM is set on the abandoned Kings Canyon map at night, where players have to try and escape the island before being infected by the Shadows. The infection-style game mode now looks set to return to Apex Legends, after leaks from prominent data miner shrugtal pointed towards a new playlist. While it was previously leaked that Respawn had been eyeing up a return to the fan-favorite LTM, the new version of Shadowfall seems to have some more twists in-store for Apex players. Shrugtal shared that a new variant of the game mode called ‘Shadow Royale’ would be released and added that it was expected to go live this Halloween. Recent patch data shows that Shadowfall appears to be making a return this Halloween, in a variant called “”Shadow Royale””. No other information other then that the Infected and Spiders that popped out the lootbins will be making a regular appearance in this mode. — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) August 21, 2020 “Recent patch data shows that Shadowfall appears to be making a return this Halloween, in a variant called ‘Shadow Royale’.” shrugtal revealed. However, the data miner explained that there was little new information about this variant in the game files yet, meaning that fans will likely have to wait a bit longer to see what awaits. Although it is expected to go live during Halloween, a release date for the “Shadow Royale” playlist has not been shared as of yet. Respawn has also yet to officially announce a Halloween event for the popular battle royale but, following the Fight or Fright event in 2019, it is quite possible that another is planned for this year.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals scrapped LTM finally coming in Season 13 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals scrapped LTM finally coming in Season 13 Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn may be bringing back the scrapped ‘Killing Time’ LTM as part of the Collection Event in Season 13. Season 13 of Apex Legends is well underway and so far, the community has been enjoying all of the fresh content that was added in Saviors. Whether it’s the new Downed Beast POI on Storm Point, the Heroic Defender Newcastle, or the Ranked Reloaded changes, it’s safe to say Respawn didn’t hold back with the major update. Despite this, players are already shifting their attention to the next update and although the devs have remained tight-lipped for the time being, dataminers have found some interesting information in the files. One leak even refers to the scrapped LTM ‘Killing Time’ that was originally meant to be added in Season 8 but never made it into the Outlands. Killing Time LTM could be coming in Season 13 A set of recent leaks have suggested that the upcoming Collection Event will be arriving on June 21, but a lot of players have been wondering if the update will be adding any new content other than Valkyrie’s Heirloom. Well, reliable dataminer KralRindo may have found the answer, as they’ve managed to find a set of ‘Killing Time’ LTM banners in the files for Season 13. This action-packed LTM was originally meant to be introduced in the War Games event back in Season 8 but never made it into the game. The basic idea of the mode is that every time a competitor dies, the ring closes faster and faster, turning up the tempo of a typical Apex match and leading to a lot of gunfights. https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1531279897573875718 While there’s no guarantee ‘Killing Time’ arrives with the Collection Event, it seems extremely likely given the fact that Respawn only added the assets in Season 13. Kral also identified a set of Control banners in the files as well, so we can assume the fan-favorite game mode will also be making a return later in Saviors.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals scrapped buffs for Revenant and Mirage – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals scrapped buffs for Revenant and Mirage Respawn EntertainmentA data miner has uncovered two buffs for Apex Legends characters Revenant and Mirage that never made it to the game – revealing that Respawn had played around with some very powerful abilities for these Legends. There are never-ending calls from players to have any number of Legends buffed (or nerfed) in Apex Legends, as players pick their favorites and their most annoying opponents. And Respawn have not been afraid to seriously shift the balance with major buffs and nerfs across the board. These include downgrades like a 35-second cooldown on Pathfinder’s grapple, to a complete rework for Mirage. But, they have clearly shown some caution as well, as leaked files have found abilities and perks that were presumably considered, before being scrapped. Scrapped Revenant buff The game files in question were found and shared by reliable data miner Shrugtal. He explains that Revenant’s scrapped buff would have disabled players from healing when he used his ‘Silence’ tactical ability. Currently, Silence damages nearby enemies and stops the use of abilities for 20 seconds. Preventing healing too would have been incredibly strong. Scrapped Mirage buff For Mirage, his scrapped perk perhaps would have been even more annoying that Revenant’s. The code simply states ‘mirage_flashbang_decoys’, which the leaker explains would have flashbanged enemies that shot the decoys. Shrugtal discusses these scrapped buffs and more in his video: Obviously, these buffs are not coming to the game anytime soon, but it is an indication of just some of the ideas that the team at Respawn work on before nailing down the final product. After the success of Mirage’s rework, game director Chad Greiner explained that they were now considering more overhauls, to Legends including Lifeline and Octane. We may see some of these proposed reworks in the Season 6 update, which is due to start in mid-August. One thing is for sure though, we won’t be seeing Mirage’s decoys causing any more trouble than they already do.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals ranked solos and more game modes in the works – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals ranked solos and more game modes in the works Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has pointed at more game modes coming in Season 8 and beyond, including ranked Solos mode and another iteration of Kings Canyon. As the Apex Legends seasons have gone on, Respawn Entertainment have added a number of different game modes to the battle royale. For the most part, these limited-time modes have either been slight or major tweaks on the typical last man standing formula of a battle royale. With Season 8 on the horizon, some leaks have started to filter out about Apex’s second anniversary season – including who we might see as a new legend, current legend tweaks, and of course, limited-time modes. These leaks have revealed a team deathmatch-like game mode, that would be played on Kings Canyon, coming to Apex at some point, but a fresh set of leaks have revealed that the devs have more than just that up their sleeve. Apex Legends leaker SomeoneWhoLeaks posted the new images on January 14, showing the activity feed from somebody testing out new game modes ahead of Season 8. Them team deathmatch style mode – known as Arenas – makes an appearance, as does something called Anniversary Event Kings Canyon, as well as game modes called Locked and Loaded and Death Trigger. However, what is the most interesting part of it all, is that there a reference to a Ranked Solos mode. It does look a little different from the rest as its listed as “#PL_Ranked_Leagues_solo!” Here’s some gamemodes, such as the arena.#ApexLegends pic.twitter.com/XOhTYXmKq7 — SWL (@SomeoneWhoLeaks) January 14, 2021 Its inclusion is incredibly interesting as, whenever fans have asked for a solos mode, Respawn has been against it – stating that they have data that points to solos not being “healthy” for the battle royale. They reiterated their position on January 8, saying that a solos mode would not be coming to Apex. It could be a case that the mode is being tested to assess more data, so, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens here.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Ranked Series 4 rewards – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Ranked Series 4 rewards RespawnA fresh Apex Legends leak has revolved around the apparent rewards that players will receive from ranked play once Series Three comes to a close and Series 4 gets underway. Since the ranked leagues were introduced to Apex Legends all the way back in season two, players have been fighting out to prove that they’re the best of the best. The absolute top-level players end up in the Apex Predator rank and stand out from the rest. Though, the hard work of other players doesn’t go unnoticed. They can fall anywhere between bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, and master – each rank coming with its own unique badge so that there’s no confusion. With ranked series three drawing to a close, there will be ranked series four rewards on the way, and one leaker has given players an early look. The apparent rewards for ranked play in season four have been revealed by data miner Biast12, though the prizes won’t be all that different from previous seasons. Each rank will come with its own individual skydive trail that won’t be available again in future Ranked series. As usual, these trails will have a different color, but that’s not all. Players will also get new badges that represent their rank. There is also a gun charm for each of these pretty clean and stylish badge designs, just like the seasons gone by. i’ll admit that it’s hard for me to take a break, sorry pic.twitter.com/xMBqAhcVkf — Biast12 (@Biast12) April 24, 2020 Of course, though these Apex data mines have proven to be pretty spot on in the past, their early arrival online could prompt change from Respawn, so, take them with a pinch of salt until everything is official. Season five was expected to kick off on May 5 but has been pushed back by a week until Tuesday, May 12, so you’ve got some extra time to grind up the series ranks if you want to do so in order to get some higher tier rewards.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Ranked changes coming with lower entry costs – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Ranked changes coming with lower entry costs Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn is planning on implementing Ranked changes after the Awakening Collection Event, which is expected to arrive on June 21. Season 13 of Apex Legends introduced a huge amount of new content including the Downed Beast POI on Storm Point, the IMC Armories, and of course, the Heroic Defender Newcastle. Although all of these additions received a huge amount of praise, the Ranked Reloaded update that arrived with Saviors has been heavily criticized by the community. A lot of players feel that Ranked has become significantly less fun and that matchmaking has gotten worse since the competitive mode was reworked. Luckily, a new leak has revealed that Respawn is going to make changes to Ranked after the upcoming Collection Event. Ranked changes coming after Awakening Collection Event Since Season 13 launched on May 10, pros and players alike have been complaining about the new Ranked system and calling on Respawn to make changes. Well, according to reliable leaker AG420, the devs are preparing to make adjustments to the competitive mode, but only surrounding RP entry costs which are going to be reduced across the board. This is effectively going to make it easier for players to maintain their rank, so it should have a knock-on effect and result in more competitors reaching higher tiers. Apex YouTuber Grrt has showcased the leak below which outlines exactly how much RP it’s going to cost for every rank in Apex, from Bronze to Predator. While this will no doubt have a positive impact on Ranked, it doesn’t address the most frequent complaint from players which is matchmaking. With Predators being matched with Gold-tier squads in the competitive mode, Respawn will need to tackle the deeper problems affecting the community in the near future. However, it’s good to see the devs implementing changes so quickly after Ranked Reloaded, even if they are relatively minor adjustments.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Rampart town takeover first look and teasers – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Rampart town takeover first look and teasers Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has offered a first look at Rampart’s Town Takeover location as well as more teasers that will be coming to the battle royale. Town Takeovers have been a thing in Apex Legends ever since Season 2 when Octane’s Gauntlet landed on Kings Canyon. They allow Respawn to refresh the map ever so slightly while adding to a character’s deep lore. With Season 10: Emergence in full flow, players getting to grips with Seer, and everything else the new update has to offer, eyes turn to what is going to come later down the line. Leaks have already confirmed that Rampart is set to have a Town Takeover event and accompanying Heirloom drop later the season, and she’s going to be buffed as well. Now, we’ve got a better look at what’s to come for her. As some eagle-eyed fans noticed, one of the teasers for Rampart’s event has a similar-looking ship to the Mirage Voyage, with her version being called “Big Maude.” According to dataminer GarretLeaks, this should be Rampart’s town takeover spot, but it’s a crashed ship that has been taken over by the Apex Games’ resident modder rather than a flying one. As for when we’ll start to see teasers in-game for the new town takeover, the leaker says that they’ll begin in early September, with the three usual stages that we’ve seen before returning. Some of these teasers will be found near Lava City, but the exact location of the town takeover has not been revealed. Other leaks have suggested that the Rampart POI might also be a part of an Arenas map, but of course, that is unconfirmed. We’ll have to wait a few weeks before we can experience the new town takeover and event, but its shaping up to be a tonne of fun.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals potential upcoming heirloom – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals potential upcoming heirloom EAAn apparent Apex Legends leak has revealed the next heirloom that fans will be able to get their hands on – the Data Knife for Crypto. Aside from legendary character outfits and weapon skins, the most desirable items in Apex Legends are the heirloom weapons. These melee weapons, which are incredibly rare to get from an Apex Pack, play into a character’s backstory and give them a unique way to slay enemies. In the past, characters like Wraith, Octane, and Bloodhound have had the Kunai, Butterfly Knife, and Raven’s Bite heirlooms, respectively, with fans begging for different ones for their favorite legends. However, it appears as if there is a new heirloom all set to go, but it might not be for the character that everybody wants it to be for. The supposed new item was pointed out by Reddit user KralRindo, as they posted a short clip of a new set of knife animations to the Apex Legends subreddit. With the new weapon having a military look to it, some fans suggested that it could be for Bangalore. However, KralRindo pointed out this weapon is called the ‘Data Knife’ and is likely for the Surveillance Expert, Crypto. Some fans pointed out that the Data Knife is a holdover from Titanfall 2, and suggested that what had been uncovered was just an unused file – though others admitted that it could very well be a “reuse” like the L-STAR. KralRindo claimed that the Data Knife is “100% for Crypto” and is “probably” the next Heirloom coming to the battle royale. It would make sense to give Crypto, a legend who is all about hacking and surveillance, the Data Knife as the name does play into his character. What the developers have up their sleeve, however, still remains to be seen as the next season of Apex Legends isn’t set to kick off until the beginning of May – once the season four battle pass concludes. Until Respawn offers up some hints and teases, we can only speculate on what new content is coming in the new seasonal update.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals potential Ash Ultimate ability – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals potential Ash Ultimate ability Respawn EntertainmentTitanfall 2 simulacrum Ash has been involved in Apex Legends storyline on a few occasions, leading to speculation about potentially being a new playable Legend. Leaks have revealed what her abilities could potentially be. So far, there are only rumors and speculation to go on for who we should expect to join the Apex roster in Season 9. But, Respawn have confirmed that they have “locked in” the Legends all the way up to Season 12. This means the dev team is already hard at work developing abilities for these characters. As a result of insider leaks, which have been plaguing Apex Legends for some time now, leaked footage claims to show in-dev abilities for Ash. In March, similar leaked footage claimed to show the abilities for Blisk. This included an ‘auto-titan’ Ultimate, which certainly raised some eyebrows. Respawn has since said they have no plans to add Titans to Apex Legends, although an auto-titan might be treated slightly differently. Season 9 will have lots of Titanfall content though. Regardless, another leak, which is similarly low in quality, but reliable enough to be legitimate, appears to show Ash’s ultimate as “Phase Breach.” This is described as the ability to ‘dash and leave a portal.’ You can see the ability in action via Biast12‘s YouTube channel. Biast is a reliable Apex data miner, with a generally accurate track record on leaks. This leak, however, appears to be another ‘insider’ leak – someone with access to a dev-build version of the game. As always, it must be noted that no leaks are final or confirmed. Just because this is the current ability, doesn’t mean it can’t be changed dramatically, or scrapped entirely, before release. The actual animations of this ability also reflect Wraith’s closely, but this could be due to reusing animations just while the ability is still in testing. There are no leaks relating to Ash’s other abilities – at least not yet. It should also be noted that this leak doesn’t necessarily mean Ash will be the next Legend to be released. Quite to the contrary, Game Director Chad Grenier has hinted that the Season 9 Legend should be popular with Japanese players. Apex Legends Season 9 is due to drop on May 4, and there will be teasers in-game before this to hint at the new character. As always, we’ll keep you up to date on everything Apex Legends as we gear up for the new Season.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals potential next heirloom set for Octane – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals potential next heirloom set for Octane Respawn EntertainmentA handful of Apex Legends characters now have their own ‘heirlooms’ that can be acquired through some good luck with Apex packs, and it looks like Octane is up next, possibly in Season 4. When Apex first released, only Wraith had an heirloom, a Kunai knife, which also came alongside a unique banner pose and voice line. At first, it was unclear if this was the only heirloom that would be added, but soon after more legends received their own special items, such as Pathfinder’s boxing gloves and Bloodhound’s ‘Raven’s Bite’ tomahawk. Octane heirloom next? Of course, not every Legend has an heirloom yet though. We assume that, in time, they will, but given how rare and prestigious they are, Respawn isn’t in any hurry to add lots more. However, a leaked game file shared by reputable data miner That1MiningGuy has revealed that Octane is most likely next up to receive his own unique item. The leaker has no indication when the item will be added, so it could be some time. But, he does confirm that it’s the only other heirloom “other than the ones we’ve already got, so likely next?” https://twitter.com/That1MiningGuy/status/1227356058664022016 As is visible from the game files, Octane’s heirloom is set to be knife, but presumably one rather different from Wraith’s knife. The file names don’t give us much indication of what it might be, but That1MiningGuy is holding out for a butterfly knife. Another option that could suit Octane would be a Karambit-style knife. Pathfinder’s boxing gloves heirloom was added back in Season 3, so we can expect another heirloom this season too, at some point. Octane is most likely judging by these game files, although things are still in development, so there are no guarantees. The Pathfinder heirloom was added as part of the Holo-Day bash event, initially as an event exclusive item, so it’s possible that Octane’s unique item will be added with whatever the next mid-season event is.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals potential heirloom for Seer in Season 15 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals potential heirloom for Seer in Season 15 RespawnFresh Apex Legends leaks point to an upcoming heirloom for legend Seer, with the Ambush Artist presumably set to receive it as part of a Season 15 event. With Apex Legends Season 15 set to begin on November 1, fans are finally in the know in terms of the new content Eclipse will bring. Ferro Fuel wielding Legend Catalyst is set to become the game’s first transgender character, while the Broken Moon map takes the Apex Games to Cleo, a moon of Outlands planet Boreas. It is the home planet of Seer who, if new leaks are to be believed, is the next Legend in line for one of the game’s coveted heirlooms. Apex Legends leaks reveal potential Seer heirloom The new information comes by way of the reputable HYPERMYST, who has correctly leaked various details regarding unreleased content in the past. On October 28, they tweeted that “Seer’s heirloom looks to be a sickle”, pointing to the relevant game code as well. A sickle is a small agricultural tool with a curved blade and handle, typically used for cutting grass. We doubt that’s what it’ll be used for in Apex Legends, if indeed it comes. Apex Legends Season 15 Heirloom Collection Event While no details were released about a Collection Event, it’s fair to assume that one will come and that this heirloom will be part of it. Season 14’s Collection Event came in the form of the Beasts of Prey and dropped on September 20, roughly a month and a half after the season began. Given Season 15’s November 1 start date, we can expect the Collection Event to begin around mid-December, similar to the time we expect Winter Express to make a comeback. Naturally, the leak does not guarantee Seer will receive an heirloom in Season 15. Much can alter in the development process and remains subject to change until officially confirmed by Respawn and EA. For now, though, Seer mains can get excited.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals possible Shadowfall return & new Campfire LTM – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals possible Shadowfall return & new Campfire LTM Respawn/EA[jwplayer UQowmNq2] A fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that Shadowfall might be making it’s return as a limited-time mode while Respawn also has another LTM in the works under the name of Campfire. Like other battle royale titles, Apex Legends has had a few limited-time works added in the past. These usually a bit different from the main game – adding in things like different shields, NPC enemies, and switching up the loot pool. With the start of the Lost Treasures Collection Event, Respawn added a new spin on the Armored and Dangerous LTM – releasing the evolved version. Though, that might not have been the original plan as new leaks have revealed that another limited-time mode was in the works. It comes from reliable leaker Shrugtal who noted that the Campfire name had appeared in the game’s files, hinting at a new mode using the Kings Canyon after dark map that was introduced a few seasons ago. “Appears to be a game mode on KC:AD where there are campfires scattered around the map that provide an AOE bubble and heal,” the leaker tweeted, also noting that it was seemingly meant to be in place for Lost Treasures. Due to the description given, some fans made the connection to the campfires that are used in Fortnite – where players approach them and can get some healing. Appears to be a gamemode on KC:AD where there are campfires scattered around the map that provide an aoe bubble and heal. Dark Souls vibes?https://t.co/AYS716RZUR — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) June 27, 2020 Campfire appears to have been intended to be the LTM for this patch but had to be dropped for Armed and Dangerous. Not enough time to finish? Current LTM’s emblem on the Select screen is called “”campfire emblem””. Campfire is being loaded through the scripts like other modes. — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) June 27, 2020 On top of that, the leaker posted that a new mechanic – activating a distress beacon – had also been added for the Shadowfall LTM. Shrugtal also added that Shadowfall sound effects were reworked for a solo win as well as a squad win/loss in the most recent patch. Though, the leaker wasn’t sure if it’ll return soon. New mechanic added to Shadowfall this patch: “”Activating a distress beacon””. Further information unclear. Victory sound effects reworked for solo win / squad win / loss. Possible future return? — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) June 27, 2020 Of course, with these LTMs being added to the code, Respawn could easily flick the switch and make them live at some point in the near future. However, we’ll just have to wait and see if they choose to do os if the two modes are destined to remain dormant in the files.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals possible new ‘town takeover’ event – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals possible new ‘town takeover’ event The Apex Legends devs are planning big things for their battle royale, which could include a new Town Takeover, according to leaks. Respawn Entertainment’s Town Takeovers have been a popular fixture with the Apex fan base since the inaugural edition on Kings Canyon when Octane came into the game. Since then, the devs experimented with Takeovers featuring original Legends from the roster with great effect. Seeing as the community love the character-specific Town Takeovers or in-game events like Pathfinder’s Shadowfall LTM, it’s no surprise that the devs would want to bring it back for another Legend of their roster. A deep dive into the game’s latest files by known leaker ‘That1MiningGuy’ explored a possible upcoming event that will task players to “Capture the Train” on World’s Edge. That1MiningGuy found evidence for an upcoming points-based King-of-the-Hill mode on the map’s moving train. It seems like players will have to “capture the train to earn points,” with new “spawn regions” to get back into the game. “So you are not going to have to go and respawn your allies in an actual beacon in this mode,” That1MiningGuy said. “It looks like there’s going to be like a designated area or a set of designated areas where you will go respawn your teammates.” If it’s an official Town Takeover, it will be the first one to be mobile, seeing as a popular feature of the World’s Edge train is its constant movement around the map. Although nothing is conclusive, the language for voice line texts makes it seem like Mirage will have a heavy influence on an in-game event soon. The leak has various “announcements” which strongly links this LTM or Town Takeover to Mirage simply going by the Legend’s classic humor. “The other squads better be a-freight. BADUM-TSSS,” one line says with another one indicating a draw by saying “that really went off the rails.” No other character in Apex is as comfortable with puns and quips like that other than Octane, but he’s already had a turn in the spotlight, as That1MiningGuy pointed out. In either case, it seems like development into another in-game mode for Apex Legends is getting worked on and with any luck it’ll be arriving soon, possibly in times for another holiday event.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals OG event skins are returning in Season 10 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals OG event skins are returning in Season 10 Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends Season 10: Emergence is finally here, which means players can look forward to a bunch of new content. However, it seems that a number of OG skins will be returning in the new update. Just like every battle royale game, Apex Legends features plenty of cosmetics that players can unlock. While some Legend skins have been available to purchase since the game’s release, seasonal skins usually get vaulted after the event or update has finished. This makes certain in-game cosmetics incredibly rare. Previously, when classic skins have made a comeback, some long-time players have been upset that some of their skins will lose that ‘exclusive’ factor. For example, there was controversy when Wraith’s ‘Airship Assassin’ skin first made a comeback. However, Season 10 is now bringing back some iconic Legend skins, giving players the chance to claim a handful of original skins. Whether you’re an Apex Legends veteran who missed some old skins or a new player looking to grab some in-game classics, you’ll definitely want to see which skins are returning. All Apex Legends returning event skins The below skins and weapon cosmetics have been found by renowned Apex Legends leaker, @shrugtal. • Apex Legends leak reveals new weapon ammo type “coming soon” – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new weapon ammo type “coming soon” EAApex Legends leaker ‘KralRindo’ has uncovered a new weapon ammo type that is apparently “coming soon” to the Apex Games – hinting at potential new weapons in the future. Apex Legends fans delved into a plethora of content during the System Override Collection Event, which debuted Octane’s brand-new Heirloom. On top of the Adrenaline Junkie’s new Butterfly Knife, 24 event-limited cosmetics were also up for grabs, which left fans wanting more. Thanks to leaker KralRindo, it doesn’t look like fans will have to wait too long before the game’s meta is shaken up once again. After unveiling a number of voice lines and in-game quips for eight unreleased weapons, the leaker has hinted that new weapon ammo types are “coming soon.” Explosive ammo is set to join the five existing types of ammunition in the Apex Games, behind the recently added ‘Sniper’ ammo type used for the likes of the Sentinel and Longbow DMR. Correlating the leaked voice lines for the unreleased weapons, it appears that the Explosive ammo could be used for the EM-4 Cold War Grenade Launcher, the Archer Heavy Rocket and R-6P Softball AAGL respectively. Each of these are heavy-duty weapons plucked from the Titanfall universe, designed to work as anti-Titan measures. Bear in mind that Respawn may decide to tweak each of the weapons to suit the needs of the Apex Games (i.e., anti-Titan measures aren’t necessarily required in Apex Legends). Of course, it’s worth noting that leaks such as this must be taken with a pinch of salt. For context, Respawn recently admitted that they included a trail of false breadcrumbs in the game’s files to “misdirect dataminers” into false pretenses. Although, a completely overhauled weapon set would certainly shake up the current meta considerably.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new “Smart” Lootbins that give exactly what you need – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new “Smart” Lootbins that give exactly what you need Respawn EntertainmentSupply Bins enable Apex Legends players to secure all kinds of useful loot, but a new leak has revealed that Respawn has plans to add a new Smart Lootbin to the mix. Find out everything we currently know about this upcoming feature. Supply Bins are often one of the most effective ways to secure loot in Apex Legends. Usually, if you land in a high-level area, then you’re more likely to find the gun or attachment you’re looking for. Of course, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes players will need to trek all over the map to finally find the item they most desire. However, a new Apex Legends leak has now uncovered a new type of loot bin – the Smart Lootbin. While this may not be as exciting as the recent Legend leaks that revealed a number of upcoming characters, the Smart Lootbin could greatly impact the game’s meta. So, here’s everything you need to know about this game-changing Supply Bin. Apex Legends leak reveals Smart Lootbin New lootbin type added to the files: Smart Lootbin. Should give you loot based on what you need, looking at your current loadout. pic.twitter.com/uRFjvSCZVg — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) April 1, 2022 From massive map updates to new weapons, Respawn is always adding new content to Apex Legends. Not only do these updates provide plenty of new opportunities for the playerbase, but they can also greatly impact the game’s current meta. Well, a new leak has revealed something that could potentially do just that. Renowned Apex Legends leaker, Shrugtal, posted an image of the upcoming Smart Lootbin. Unlike the ordinary Supply Bins that are dotted around each map, Smart Lootbins will give players loot based on what they need. https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1509760860264312858 For example, if your current loadout requires an Extended Heavy Mag or maybe a Barrel Stabilizer, then the Smart Lootbin will fix you up with the equipment. Apex Legends content creator, KralRindo, was also keen to point out that the Smart Lootbin was not an April Fool’s Day joke, and that the files had been discovered in the last patch. This was proven in the April 19 teasers that arrived with the Unshackled thematic event on the screens in the Command Center POI. Although no new details were shared on the loot bins, a picture of them did make an appearance on the monitors. https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1516508295669989376 Quite when these new supply boxes will make their way to the game remains to be seen, but as Respawn has decided to tease them ahead of Season 13, it’s possible they’ll arrive in the next major update.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new PS Plus skins for PS4 players – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new PS Plus skins for PS4 players Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that there are two new PlayStation exclusive skins in the works – with Crypto and Gibraltar being the characters chosen to don the new looks. Every Apex Legends player has got their favorite character to use in each and every match of the battle royale. This can be because of their abilities, their play-style, or because it fits in with their squad’s composition. As a result of that, fans also use a whole host of different character skins to make their chosen legend stand out from the crowd, whether they’re playing on Kings Canyon or World’s Edge. Some legends have skins that are just a different spin on their base outfit, with the PlayStation exclusive skins fitting into this bracket – rather than giving a character a full makeover. New leaks from Apex Legends data miner The_Suum has revealed that there are two new PlayStation only skins in the works – with Crypto and Gibraltar the characters receiving the new looks. As you might expect, the color of the new skins fit in with the classic blue and white color scheme from PlayStation, though it is a slightly lighter shade of blue being used. The leaked skins are pretty identical despite the difference between the two chosen characters. https://twitter.com/The_Suum/status/1248369139292528641 Previous PlayStation exclusive cosmetic packs have also given players new weapons for different weapons – and looking closely at the image posted by leakers, that could very well be the case here too. These packs have been exclusively for PS Plus members in the past, meaning that you aren’t going to be able to get them anywhere else. Sadly, though, a potential release date for the cosmetic pack hasn’t been offered up, so it could be a little while yet before they’re seen being worn by PlayStation players.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Pathfinder bundle and more upcoming skins – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Pathfinder bundle and more upcoming skins Steam/RespawnA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed an upcoming cosmetic bundle for Pathfinder ahead of season five, as well as a host of brand-new skins for other legends. When it comes to standing out from the crowd in Apex Legends, there are plenty of ways to do so. Players have the chance to earn badges that track stats, rare banners, and voice lines that allow them to mock an enemy after an elimination. Though, of course, the best way to stand out from the crowd is to have a whole collection of skins – be it for your chosen legend or your favorite weapons in the battle royale. As season five is approaching, it appears players will soon be able to get their hands on even more exclusive skins. Popular Apex Legends leaker iLootGames revealed that there is a Pathfinder cosmetic bundle in the works which is set to include a legend skin, weapon skin, weapon charm, and a badge. The Pathfinder skin has a pretty distinctive Jungle theme to it – while the weapon skin, which is for the Havoc Rifle, is pretty red. The leaker also revealed that there are new looks for Bloodhound and Gibraltar – known as the ‘Inspectors’ skins – though it’s unclear whether they will be in the store, a Twitch Prime-like exclusive, or a part of an upcoming event. iLootGames also showcased the Queen of Hearts look for Wraith that has been floating around for a little while now – taking the usual dark and mysterious legend and giving her a bright red outfit. Sticking with the red theme, there is a re-color for Wattson that includes some pretty unique features on the arms. Although the leaker has been pretty up to date with details in the past, he was unable to offer any release dates for these skins, meaning that fans could be in for a waiting game. We’ll just have to see if, and when, Respawn decides to release them.

  • Apex Legends confirms new Broken Moon map for Season 15 – Dexerto

Apex Legends confirms new Broken Moon map for Season 15 Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends map called Broken Moon has officially been announced by Respawn and will arrive in Season 15. Since the arrival of Storm Point back in Season 11, Apex Legends players have been speculating about where Respawn is going to take the Apex Games next. With so many incredible and interesting locations embedded into the game’s lore, there are countless map locations the devs could choose. Well, on October 17, Respawn finally revealed that the ‘Broken Moon’ map based on Boreas’ moon Cleo will be coming with Eclipse. Broken Moon map coming in Apex Legends Season 15 On October 17, Respawn announced that Season 15, or Eclipse would be arriving on November 1. This major update is going to bring the new Legend Catalyst to the roster and of course, a brand new map. The new map is called Broken Moon and according to the devs, is “slightly larger” than Worlds Edge but also has significantly bigger POIs. This design decision was made to attempt to stop hot-dropping and create more evenly-paced matches. On top of this, players can use a new travel system called zip rails to rotate around the map. Although these are speedy and efficient, they’ve been described as “high-risk high reward” by the devs, so you’re certainly putting yourself at risk using them. As showcased in the Eclipse Gameplay Trailer above, Broken Moon’s POIs are all diverse and contain a variety of structures to navigate. It’s obvious the devs took a different direction with Broken Moon compared to Storm Point and want to avoid the low-action mid-games that often occur on the tropical map. Whether they’ve succeeded in that goal is a mystery for now, but with Season 15 dropping on November 1, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Mirage skin inspired by Supreme and Louis Vuitton – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Mirage skin inspired by Supreme and Louis Vuitton Respawn Entertainment, SupremeApex Legends players looking to upgrade their street cred are in luck as Mirage is set to get a dapper Supreme-inspired skin through Prime Gaming. Mirage, Apex Legends’ resident ‘Holographic Trickster’ has always been a Legend blessed with unrivalled style. Honing in on the joyous, exuberant nature of Respawn’s battle royale, Mirage has enjoyed success as a fan-favourite Legend over the years and has some incredible cosmetics to boot. Occasionally players are treated to various skins through Prime Gaming. Some of them are great, but they can’t all be winners. Well, fear not, as Apex Legends is about to receive a hit of pure swagger. This one is for the coolest of the cool. Called ‘Brand Ambassador’, this Mirage is skin is going in for a look akin to that of the modern-day YouTuber, and we’re sure that this drip will set Mirage apart from the rest in the Apex Games. The new addition to Mirage’s wardrobe currently doesn’t have a release date just yet, but we can take a stab at figuring out when it’ll hit the servers. Currently, Seer has a Prime Gaming skin available through August, so if Mirage is next, it’ll only be a few weeks wait. Brand Ambassador Mirage is next in line for twitch prime pic.twitter.com/UsZDeaZaN5 — Garret (@Grrted) August 7, 2021 Apex Legends’ latest season will continue to heat up the battlefield, as Respawn deals with overpowered legends, nerfs, and streaming favorites coming over to their acclaimed title. • Apex Legends leak reveals new map ‘Tropics’ will have Tridents like Olympus – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new map ‘Tropics’ will have Tridents like Olympus Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak pertaining to the long-rumored ‘tropical’ map claims that it will have Trident vehicles – currently exclusive to the Olympus map. Apex Legends players have, since Season 7, grown accustomed to the battle royale’s three maps. Kings Canyon came first and was joined by Worlds’ Edge, while Olympus came in Season 7 alongside legend Horizon and Trident vehicles. While Trident vehicles are currently exclusive to Olympus, that could well be about to change. Fresh leaks, courtesy of reputable data miner GarretLeaks on Twitter, suggest that Apex’s new battle royale map – currently known as Tropics – will feature the futuristic vehicles. On July 18, the leaker shared early images of the vehicles, comparing them aesthetically to the existing Trident vehicles that can be found on Olympus. Read More: Who is Seer in Apex Legends? – While the two are almost identical, the leaker highlighted the main difference between the two: the splashes of dirt that taint the vehicle’s white exteriors. This hints at swampy areas of the new map, perhaps similar to tropical Titanfall maps like Lagoon. New Map – “”TROPICS”” will have Tidents, these can be differentiated through their dirt splashes. More Info on vid soon 🙂 pic.twitter.com/vipMWMqliz— Garret (@Grrted) July 18, 2021 It also fits with past leaks. Back in August of 2020, data miners and leakers began picking up on a potential new map set on a tropical island. The string of game code read “MP_RR_TROPIC_ISLAND_DESC,” which is the same as Kings Canyon and World’s Edge in the Apex Legends core code. Details have remained scarce since then, but it appears we are getting closer to the launch of this tropical map. Whether it retains the name ‘Tropics’ when it drops is unclear, but the game’s data suggests it will be something close to that. It has been a few seasons since a new map launched so, given Respawn’s track record of adding maps every three or so seasons, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Tropics drop with Season 10 at the start of August.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Loba outfit and weapon skins for Season 5 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Loba outfit and weapon skins for Season 5 EAApex Legends players can expect to see yet another Loba cosmetic alongside a few Legendary weapon skins in Season 5, according to leaks from a prominent data miner. Loba’s long-awaited debut did not disappoint. After plenty of build-up from Respawn, Fortune’s Favor provided fans with a little closure after the cliff-hanger that was left from Assimilation. And as the Apex Games’ storyline expanded, so did their cosmetic pool, as Loba launched with a plethora of skins from the get-go. Leaked Loba skin Leaks of Loba’s upcoming skins have already emerged, with the Translocating Thief receiving her own ‘Fortune’s Favor’ Pack, which offers 600 Apex Coins as well as a sharp-looking cosmetic. But it Respawn aren’t stopping there, as another Victorian themed Loba skin has been data mined, as shown off by iLootGames. Matching the design of the ‘Bootlegger’ Legendary skin, the ‘Watermelon’ skin (as the data miner affectionately refers to it) simply adds a fresh lick of paint to the existing cosmetic. Leaked Weapon skins Alongside touching on the previously leaked Bloodhound and Gibraltar Twitch Prime skins, iLootGames covered some notable weapon recolors for the Longbow, Alternator, Spitfire, Devotion and the Flatline. Perhaps most notable is the reskin that is the pipeline for the ‘Big Game Hunter’ Longbow. Complete with the same decals, the color scheme looks very similar to the Loba skin that was also leaked. Fans of both the Spitfire and Devotion LMGs will be pleased to see that a rework for their Legendary skins is also in the pipeline. To top things off, the leaker revealed that the ‘Spine Chiller’ Flatline skin has been reworked to match the Bootlegger Loba skin recolor. There are already a ton of skins that have been released for Loba, as the Season 5 debutant shipped with an array of Legendary, Epic and Rare outfits. Of course, if you’re a Twitch Prime member, you can also claim your free ‘Game Master’ Loba skin by following the simple steps in this guide. It’s worth noting that while these leaks often materialize to be correct, they must be taken with a pinch of salt, as things can always change in development.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new ‘Gadgets’ weapon type – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new ‘Gadgets’ weapon type Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that a new weapon type in the form of ‘Gadgets’ is in the works, but what will it actually do? With each new season, Apex Legends devs at Respawn have kept their battle royale feeling fresh with new legends, new weapons, and shake-ups to the loot pool. These changes are usually revealed ahead of time with a reveal trailer or two, but Respawn goes do a little further in-depth with their dev streams. These streams usually have some insight into why a change has been made, but more often than not, some things manage to slip in early. In the past, we’ve seen a mysterious POI off the coast of Kings Canyon, as well as two unreleased weapons, and now leakers have been able to get more details on another change that may have been leaked in the Season 6 dev stream. Reliable leaker Shurgtal pointed out that there is code in the Apex Legends files relating to a new weapons type known as Gadgets. In their tweet, the leaker attached a screenshot from the recent dev stream where there is a mysterious purple piece of kit as a part of the floor loot and noted that this is likely one of the new gadgets coming to Apex. There was also a new slot on the UI, which isn’t currently in the game. “I suspect that this is the mysterious fourth slot on the UI in the dev stream,” Shrugtal tweeted, before adding their own speculation about what gadgets could be added to the mix. “Speculation: Non-combat throwables, like Smoke Grenade?” New weapon type. Gadget. I suspect that this is the mysterious fourth slot on the UI in the devstream, due to both the weapon enumeration and some non-localized strings. Speculation: Non-combat throwables, like Smoke Grenade? pic.twitter.com/fTaloSwhmX — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) August 28, 2020 Of course, if things like smoke grenades were added to the mix, that would likely mean that Bangalore would be in for a change given that her tactical ability is all about deploying smoke grenades. What Respawn has up their sleeve for this new weapon type remains to be seen, but with the new collection event around the corner, we might not have that long to wait for an update.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new “explosive” hop up & Laser Sights – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new “explosive” hop up & Laser Sights Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak has revealed Respawn is working on an “explosive” hop up and Laser Sights for multiple weapons. With Apex Legends Season 12 set to arrive in early February, the community is beginning to speculate about what fresh content Respawn has planned for the major update. While we know a new Legend is definitely on the cards, it’s hard to predict what else the devs have in store for players. Despite this, ahead of these updates, dataminers are hard work attempting to find any clues in the game’s files, and luckily, one of them has struck gold. Finding a reference to an “explosive” hop up as well as Laser Sights, reliable leaker KralRindo has even revealed which weapons the new attachments are for. New Apex hops ups & Laser Sights discovered in games files After trawling through the game files, KralRindo discovered multiple lines of code referencing “Laser Sights” for the P2020, RE45, Wingman, Volt SMG, Prowler, and R99. It’s hard to know what features this new optic will include just yet, but some of the community are speculating it could have some form of auto ping when scoping over enemies. On top of the new optic, Kral also found two new hop-ups in the “Explosive Lobber” for the L-STAR and the “Kinetic Loader” for the Peacekeeper, Volt SMG, and Alternator. While the Kinetic Loader remains a mystery for time being, we can assume the new L-STAR hop up fires explosive rounds, potentially at a slower rate of fire. https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1479800951288606722 Keep in mind, while all of these new features have been discovered in the files, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll arrive in Season 12. It’s possible Respawn is adding them ahead of time, as the devs are constantly working on new content for the distant future. Either way, these are some exciting additions and with Mad Maggie rumored to be arriving in the upcoming season, an explosive hop-up would match her theme.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Cryo Grenades in the works – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Cryo Grenades in the works Respawn/EAA brand-new Apex Legends leak has revealed that the battle royale is set to get a chilling new throwable in the form of a Cryo Grenade. Apex Legends has seemingly become the new go-to experience for battle royale players. Season 10 is a raging success, thanks to mostly well-received additions and its seen an influx of new players to boot. The new legend, Seer, has, as some players expected, been a little too powerful but this challenge has pushed players to rethink their strategy in gunfights going forward. Of course, these gunfights wouldn’t be the same without a tactical weapon thrown into the mix. Since the game launched two years ago, players have used throwables in the form of Thermite Grenades, Arc Stars, and Frag Grenades. A new throwable weapon could be introduced soon, though, as a new datamine has uncovered something special. Cryo Grenade revealed to be in the works Apex Legends leaker Shrugtal has racked up a reliable track record in the past. Now, his most recent discovery could change up the battlefield once again. The Cryo Grenade was discovered through some thorough datamining, following the release of the Emergence update. Shown in its most basic form, the new throwable exists currently in an early development form. Lacking any proper details or high resolution texturing, it seems the Cryo Grenade was left in the game by mistake as a result of pre-release testing. Season 10 is still fresh with players, so an update down the line could implement the finishing touches to get this ready for battle. Some players seem to think that the developers have been doing tests already. While it is unlikely the newest Legend Seer was launched to be purposely overpowered, others aren’t as convinced. Comment byu/SynnamonSunset from discussion inApexUncovered Seer has dominated the Apex meta since their arrival. Players are clambering for new ways to defeat the intimidating foe. Seer’s ability to view the locations of nearby players has enabled squads to blast rivals away with fiery aggression. The Cryo Grenade might just be the solution to stamping out the flame.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Call of Duty-style game mode with a twist – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Call of Duty-style game mode with a twist Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn have got another new game mode in the works with the code name of ‘Capture’, and it sounds like it could be pretty interesting. While the main focus of Apex Legends is the battle royale mode, Respawn Entertainment has, over time, added some entertaining spin-off modes as well. We’ve had a third-person mode, the ability to play as undead monsters around Halloween events, as well as the Hunt missions, and now the 3v3 Arenas mode. They’ve all proven to be pretty popular with players and fans are desperate for more. Well, it looks like we could be getting one in the near future that brings a bit of a Call of Duty feel to the Outlands. The information comes from reliable leaker Shrugtal, who noted that following the 9.1 update, Respawn added some code for a game mode that is currently named ‘Capture’ and has a setup for Olympus. In explaining the mode, the leaker says it’s like Domination from Call of Duty where players are tasked with capturing three different points across the map and building up a score to win. Of course, with this being Apex, there’s a unique twist on the usual feel of the game mode. One of these twists that Shrugtal points out is that you may be able to spawn Trident from different ‘Parking Pads’ that are placed around the Capture arena, allowing you to quickly travel to one of the capture points. The leaker also suggests that it might be bigger than a 3v3 mode, given the apparent size of the map, maybe stretching to a 5v5 or 6v6 that we see in Call of Duty. As for when it might release, well, that’s on Respawn. Arenas had been in the works for a few seasons before it was finally released. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new Bloodhound event skins – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new Bloodhound event skins Respawn EntertainmentA New Apex Legends leak reveals first look at some of the cosmetic items scheduled for release during the upcoming “The Old Ways” Bloodhound themed event on April 7. Another in-game event is on its way to Apex Legends servers and this time around it is confirmed to be based around the popular Legend, Bloodhound. The Old Ways event is scheduled to be released on April 7 and, as always, Respawn has some brand new cosmetic items and skins ready for players to collect. Although some of the upcoming skins have previously been announced, YouTuber iLootGames has revealed how some of the new items will look in-game during his April 4 upload. The first item and only original character skin revealed in the leak was the new Viking themed Wattson skin, titled the “Static Maiden,’ and is expected to cost 500 Apex Coins during the first few days of the event. The data miner highlighted some of the other cosmetic items that fans can expect to see, with new weapon skins and charms also planned for release during The Old Ways event. Topic starts at 2:33 for Mobile users The leak also showed a look at the new Prowler and EVA-8 auto weapon skins which both featured the blue and gold Viking patterns as seen with some of the other items available. Another cosmetic item that was revealed was a recolor of one of Wraith’s legendary skins, with the fan-favorite legend set to receive a brand new look in the upcoming event. Players will be able to pick up some of these cosmetic items through the Direct Purchase shop and also will be able to earn others when following the daily challenges in the exclusive event prize track. The Old Ways event is scheduled to be released on April 7 and, as usual, will be live for 2 weeks for players to experience before eventually wrapping up on April 21.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals new aliens coming to World’s Edge – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals new aliens coming to World’s Edge Respawn EntertainmentOver the last year, Apex Legends players have seen two different alien species from the Titanfall universe added to the game and another could be on the way soon. Apex is set in the same universe as the Titanfall games, which makes sense since they all have the same developer in Respawn Entertainment. While Apex seems to take place several years after the events of both Titanfall games, it’s already featured the loot-dropping Flyers along with the massive Leviathans, and now new leaks point to another alien species from the series called “Prowlers” being added soon as well. So these cute little guys have a bunch of animations now.. maybe we will see them added to apex pic.twitter.com/xphMql4nlO — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) March 10, 2020 The animation for the little alien pups, which shares the name Prowler with a weapon in Apex, was posted by prominent data miner iLootGames on Twitter. In the leaked animations, the Prowlers just seem to be spazzing out a bit at first but if you pay attention they seem to be howling as if they’ve just spotted some prey, which very well could be players themselves. Another leak from Apex data miner Biast12 seems to confirm that the Prowlers will indeed be hostile to players, with animation file names like “pr_death_run_wipeout” and “pr_diebackward” for when they’re taken out. It’s not known how the little guys will behave when/if they’re added to Apex, but based on their name alone it’s a good guess they’ll be prowling randomly around the map. lol one of the Animations for the Prowler have “”Desertland”” in it, so we will maybe get it in worlds edge at some time pic.twitter.com/d1ZOGapalg — Biast12 (@Biast12) March 7, 2020 Biast12’s leak also includes another nugget of information aside from the Prowlers, in the highlighted file the name “desertlands” appears. In Apex Legends files World’s Edge is coded as “desertlands”, which is just another confirmation that the Prowlers will be showing up on the map sometime soon. It must be noted, however, that the critters could also show up on Kings Canyon as well, since there are plenty of files that don’t specify one map or the other. Exactly when the Prowler pups will arrive is still unknown, but if the files are already in Apex, there’s a good chance we’ll see them sooner, rather than later during Season 4.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals names of unreleased content: Tropic map, Arenas, teasers – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals names of unreleased content: Tropic map, Arenas, teasers Respawn EntertainmentA series of screenshots that appear to be internal dev tests for Apex Legends have leaked, with names of unreleased content disclosed. The screenshots, posted by a burner account on Reddit, cannot be verified, but appear legitimate. Apex Legends is shaping up for its eighth season, and has just launched its third map, Olympus in Season 7, alongside the new Legend, Horizon. But, we know that the team at Respawn are already working many seasons in advance, and these screenshots of a test version of the game appear to give a small glimpse into what exactly they have planned. Among the unreleased content is ‘Tropic playtest’, which lines up with a previous data mined leak about a possible tropic map. There is also mention of ‘Estate Arenas’, Apex Predator Squads (60 players), ‘Airdrop takeover trios’ and more. Leaked Apex Legends content The leaks come in the form of game status updates, showing testers finishing a game in these new modes/maps/LTMs. So, we don’t have any indication of what these entail exactly, which will have to be left up to the imagination at the moment. You can see the original screenshots, shared by the burner account on Reddit, below. The post was then deleted, before being shared again by reliable Apex data miner Biast12 on Twitter, along with some clarification on what each item could mean. The items are: Estate Arenas – Tropic Playtest – Canyonlands MU3 – 6-man Kings Canyon MU3 – 1 LVL Boost – 40-man Oly duo – Airdrop Takeover Trios – Salvo Ship Active Tease – Fuse Active Tease – and for people that are wondering here is some answers to questions MU = Map Update = MU3 is an unreleased version “”Tropic Playtest”” could be the next map “”Estate Arenas”” is a thing Fuse Teasers doesn’t mean he’s next — Biast12 (@Biast12) December 30, 2020 Two interesting points here are the ‘Fuse Active Tease’ and ‘Salvo Ship Active Tease’. In the past, Respawn has teased upcoming content through small additions to the current game, such as the gravity lift teaser for Horizon. It’s possible that these are teasers due to be implemented in the game before the new content releases – we’ve heard the name Fuse before as a possible future Legend. Estate Arenas could potentially be related to the Estates POI on Olympus. The Tropic Island map was an Apex Legends leak from August 2020, but of course, the new map added in Season 7 was Olympus – certainly not a tropical island. When are new modes coming to Apex Legends? The Apex Legends game director, Chad Grenier, said in a Season 7 interview that they have lots of exciting content planned for both Season 8 and 9. But, he mentioned that Season 9 specifically will have new things that players won’t expect. • Apex Legends leak reveals potential ‘Mythic’ tier above Legendary – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals potential ‘Mythic’ tier above Legendary Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has revealed a new ‘Mythic’ classification that could be used as a tier higher than Legendary in Season 11 or beyond. Skins and gear in Apex are labeled from Common (lowest tier) to Legendary (highest tier). Separately, Heirlooms are a special classification for melee weapon skins along with respective banner poses and quips. According to a new leak by Apex dataminer ‘Shrugtal’ a higher grade could fit its way into Apex’s cosmetic system. Though details are still unclear, the info suggests that Bloodhound could receive the new type of skin. Apex Legends Mythic skin leak After the Apex Legends Season 11 update landed, a skin entry was found in the game’s files that points to a cosmetic with multiple levels. Shrugtal said: “Skin entry added for ‘Mythic Level 3 Proxytest’ for Bloodhound. Possibly some higher than Legendary tier being worked on, evolving skins perhaps?” This began speculation of Respawn possibly experimenting with skins that could change throughout the course of a map or cosmetics with different variants to them. In battle royales like Fortnite, Epic Games have reactive skins that change as you deal damage. Conversely, Riot Games has multiple levels for some Valorant weapon skins that upgrade their VFX or unlock different color themes. Skin entry added for “”Mythic Level 3 Proxytest”” for Bloodhound. Possibly some higher than legendary tier being worked on, evolving skins perhaps? — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) November 2, 2021 If Respawn were to attempt these kinds of cosmetics for Apex, they would have a few different ways to incorporate multiple ‘levels’ as the leak suggests. The studio is trying to break the mold of what Apex skins entail with its upcoming Market crossover for the game. As Season 11 gets underway, Apex players can expect Respawn to add new content to mix up the game and we’ll see if evolving skins are a part of those plans.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals more details about Prowlers – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals more details about Prowlers RespawnApex Legends leaker iLootGames has revealed more details about Titanfall’s Prowlers, apparently making their way into the battle royale. Since Apex Legends has been on the market, fans of the battle royale have only had to contest games against each other – even though they haven’t always been alone, especially on Kings Canyon. Back in season one, Respawn Entertainment introduced the Flyers – dragon-like beasts that could be found circling the sky or locked in some cages. These flyers would drop precious loot for players but wouldn’t attack them, even though they seemed pretty menacing. Since then, there have been rumors about a player vs environment game mode that would have players attacked by some sort of creatures – and it appears as if we might be getting closer to that point. Reliable Apex Legends leaker iLootGames shed more light on the previously leaked Prowlers, the beasts from the Titanfall universe, that have appeared in the files for the battle royale. In addition to the early data-mined information on the creatures, the leaker revealed that there are a number of different variants of them in the files – all with the same character model, but differently skinned. There are also a whole host of brand-new animations as well. iLootGames showcases a handful of them, including one where the Prowler would scan for enemies, hunt after said enemies, and even climb up into windows. While the Flyers were huge in comparison to the legends on the map, the leaker showed that the Prowlers stand about the same size as Pathfinder – so they won’t be overly terrifying. As for what role the animals will play, that remains up in the air. It is unknown if they will descend on the map like the Flyers and play into the normal battle royale mode, or if they will have a limited-time variant that will be some sort of PvE fight.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals monstrous skins for Revenant & Bloodhound – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals monstrous skins for Revenant & Bloodhound Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has revealed a set of monster-themed skins for Bloodhound and Revenant, potentially even hinting at a new collection event in the near future. Season 10 of Apex Legends has arrived and players are enjoying the huge additions that Respawn has implemented in the major update. Whether it’s the recon-style gameplay of the Ambush Master Seer, or charging up the new Rampage LMG with Thermite Grenades, there’s plenty of content to get stuck into following the Emergence patch. However, as always, players are already looking to the future and wondering what cosmetics Respawn has planned for upcoming collection events. Well, thanks to reliable dataminer Garretleaks, a set of monster-themed skins for Bloodhound & Revenant have been discovered. While the cosmetics clearly aren’t finished just yet, the designers have certainly nailed the scary theme. Monster-themed Bloodhound & Revenant skins leaked Figuring out the theme of the next collection event in Apex Legends is a difficult task as the only clues are usually found in the game files. Luckily for us, there’s a set of dataminers that trawl through these files, looking for leaked cosmetics and hints at upcoming content. One of those is Garretleaks, who revealed he’d found a set of monster-themed skins on August 4 and posted the leaked cosmetics to Twitter. In the post, Garret showcases an unfinished monster or wolf-themed Revenant skin, as well as a set of holosprays that display a fearsome Bloodhound skin. According to Garret, he thinks that these skins suggest that a potential monster-themed collection event is on the way. However, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt as it’s all speculation for the time being. All things currently for the “”Monsters”” (Codename) Collection event. Considering Bloodhound is a simulacrum I think this may be based off the legends PERSONAL monsters pic.twitter.com/ii3LLMDoFk— Garret (@Grrted) August 4, 2021 While the Revenant skin has no color and is still unfinished, the designers have certainly captured the fearsome and monstrous aesthetic. Let’s hope there are more leaks that reveal the other skins that could potentially be in the collection. This could even be the first few Halloween skins that Respawn has designed ahead of the October holiday, but for now, it’s just a waiting game until we receive official information from the devs.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Monster Energy collab skins & cosmetics – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Monster Energy collab skins & cosmetics Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has revealed the cosmetics and skins available in the Monster Energy collab starting on August 1. After the announcement that the official sponsor of the ALGS, Monster Energy confirmed a further collaborating with Apex Legends for a special promotion. While it was unclear what the collab would entail, the drinks company promised on their website that “something big was about to drop.” Well, it appears the curtain has finally been lifted as reliable Apex leaker Shrugtal has found all of the cosmetics & skins that are going to be available for players to earn. With Wraith, Octane, and two energy weapons receiving their own skins, there’s a handful of items to collect. The bad news, is that they’re only of the ‘Rare’ type. Apex Legends Monster Energy collab skins leaked Beginning on August 1, Apex Legends players will be able to purchase select cans of Monster Energy with promotional codes. Then starting in September, players can redeem the codes that come with them to earn specific cosmetics. All codes will expire on December 31, 2021, so make sure you redeem any you find before the promotion ends. Thanks to Shrugtal, we know players can expect to potentially earn; two Legend skins, two weapon skins, three banner frames, and three holo sprays. On top of these cosmetics, players will be able to collect ‘High Energy’ badges that will level up in tiers as they redeem more codes. You can check out the details on each of the skins below: Octane skin: Abstract Splash – Wraith skin: Energy Transfer – Volt skin: Vapour Trail – Holo-spray: Energy – Gun Charm: Danger! – Battle Pass Levels – Energy Badges: Tiers 1 to 5 – You’ll have to buy 60 cans of Monster Energy to complete the Apex promotion (ends Dec 31) which means drinking 20 cans / month. I dunno but that sounds a little excessive pic.twitter.com/L9SW6g9PwC — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) August 31, 2021 With the collaboration ending in December, Apex players will need to drink 60 cans of Monster in the allotted time frame. This means they’ll need to consume an average of 15 cans a month if they want to receive all of the rewards. While the community is clearly excited about the collaboration, it’s obvious they expected a higher tier of skins and cosmetics. However, there’s no doubt countless players will be getting involved and attempting to level their badge up to tier 5 as quickly as possible. • Apex Legends leak reveals major Lifeline buff coming with update 13.1 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals major Lifeline buff coming with update 13.1 Respawn EntertainmentFresh Apex Legends leaks point to Lifeline receiving a major buff in the ongoing Season 13, which will apparently overhaul almost every aspect of her kit and could put her back on top. Since Apex Legends’ launch back in early 2019, Combat Medic Lifeline has been one of the game’s most popular characters thanks to her healing abilities and powerful kit. However, as seasons have dropped, metas have changed and new Legends graced us with their presence, Lifeline has become less desirable and has now slipped to a fairly average pick-rate of just 4.3% in Season 13. Lifeline buffs leaked for Apex Legends patch 13.1 Plenty of fans have called for a buff and, as patch 13.1 approaches in June, leaks now indicate that they’ll be getting exactly what they want. Shared to Reddit by player ‘Osvaldatore‘, it corroborates earlier rumors that Lifeline was set for a buff by Respawn as she fell in popularity. According to the mined information, the buff will target nearly every aspect of the Combat Medic’s kit, strengthening the Drone Of Compassion and reducing the time taken to earn her Care Package Ultimate. It will reportedly take shape as follows: Increased D.O.C. Heal Drone health pool from 150 to 9999 – Doubled D.O.C. Heal Drone zone reach radius – Downed teammates can now opt out Combat Revive’s auto-revive – Reduced Care Package’s cool-down from 5 minutes to 3 minutes 30 seconds – As is the case with leaks, this information is not confirmed until Respawn make it official. Much can change in the development process so there are no guarantees Lifeline’s changes will make it into the final game as they’ve been leaked. There’s also doubt about when patch 13.1 will drop, with leakers agreeing it is set for June but some suggesting the 14th, while others favor the 21st. Either way, when it does, we hope to see Lifeline buffed and returned to her original glories.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals in-game Crypto teaser coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals in-game Crypto teaser coming soon Graphics: Respawn Entertainment / REDDIT, FROZENFROHA new in-game teaser for unreleased Legend Crypto is set to release in Apex Legends, according to leaked game files. It’s expected that a new character will be added at the start of each new season, with next being Season 3 in October. After all, that’s the system we’ve seen from Respawn Entertainment so far. However, before the Legend is released into the game fully, Respawn have often dropped sneaky hints about them to build some hype, and it looks like the same is happening again for Crypto. We’ve already seen Crypto’s laptop appear in Kings Canyon and it seems like the next teaser is going to involve his drone, if data mined game files found by RealApexLeaks are accurate. The leaker revealed its latest findings from a data mine on September 10, which mentions both a drone and a spotlight. It’s all but confirmed that one of Crypto’s abilities will feature this drone, and other leakers have already given us a look at it in action. There’s gonna be a teaser for the new Crypto drone in-game. Something about a spotlight is mentioned too.#ApexLegends #ApexLegendsBattleRoyale #ApexPartner #ApexLegendsleaks #apexlegendsclips #apexlegendscommunity pic.twitter.com/taew653eTe — RealApexLeaks (@RealApexLeaks) September 10, 2019 While the details are clearly scarce at the time of writing, there’s no doubt that this could be yet another domino to fall in the buildup to Crypto’s release. Wording of the game files suggests that there will be an option to not only spawn a drone, but adjust spotlight intensity as well. It might well be preparation for an upcoming event or more simply a “tease”, as the file names indicate. Several animations for Crypto’s drone technology have also been leaked, as reported on September 4, and can be seen below. A hint like Octane’s jump pad? This wouldn’t be the first time that a Legend’s ability has been added to the game before their official release. Back before the launch of Season 1, Octane’s jump pad was placed randomly near Market, confusing everyone, until he was officially added to the game at the start of the first season. It’s unknown as to whether Respawn will be adding the Crypto teaser or not, but if you’re a believer in the age-old saying of ‘no smoke without fire’ then these leaks will be particularly encouraging. Until we have official confirmation from developers, though, it’s probably best to take these leaks with a pinch of salt. After all, just because they have been added to the game’s files doesn’t mean they won’t be amended before they make it into the final product.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals major change to armor coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals major change to armor coming soon A major change to how Body Shields, or commonly referred to as armor, work in Apex Legends has been found and leaked by prominent dataminer That1MiningGuy. As with almost every other battle royale game, armor plays a huge role in Apex Legends and is one of the most important items that players pick up and use. There are four different tiers of Body Shields in the game – Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary – each absorbing an increased amount of damage and the last one even providing an additional perk. Currently, there is no way to know what level of armor an enemy player has equipped without engaging them in combat, at which point the hitmarkers will glow in the color of their armor (gray for Common, blue for Rare, purple for Epic, and gold for Legendary). Read More: Apex Legends 3rd person mode leaked – However, according to new files discovered by well-established Apex dataminer That1MiningGuy, that could all change soon. Major change to Body Shields leaked On December 16, That1MiningGuy tweeted out a screenshot of some back-end game files he had found suggesting that a visual indicator will be added that shows what color, and thus tier, of armor each player has on at any given time. “This appears to be something about adding a visual indicator to characters to tell us what armor level they are wearing BEFORE we shoot them,” he tweeted. Read More: Why did Ninja get banned on Apex Legends – “Most battle royales have this already because of how they work. Would make strategic decisions better.” https://twitter.com/That1MiningGuy/status/1206587862789033984?s=20 It goes without saying that this would be a deeply fundamental change to Apex Legends and the strategy that goes into deciding whether or not to challenge an enemy player or team. For example, if you see a team with Common and Rare tier Body Shields equipped while you and your squad have Epic or Legendary ones, then it might be worth taking the fight. Read More: How to unlock free Crypto Twitch Prime skin – Conversely, you might be inclined to avoid engaging an enemy team if they have higher level armor than your squad does. Either way, this would definitely change things up and add a new dimension of tactics that currently aren’t there, since there’s no way of telling what kind of armor any opposing player has on until shooting at them.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals long-awaited change to player limits in the works – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals long-awaited change to player limits in the works Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that Respawn Entertainment are working on bigger lobbies for the battle royale, with up to 100 player sessions being tested. While the Apex Legends battle royale formula is pretty much the same as its rivals Warzone and Fortnite, there are a few big differences between the biggest games. Aside from the legend abilities, Respawn Entertainment has chosen to go against the grain and not implement 100+ player lobbies, instead, keeping it to 60 players in 20 teams of three. For the longest time, players have begged the devs to increase this limit – with some suggesting they should at least go to 90 or so players to help with matchmaking. While Respawn have previously been against increasing the limit, it seems a change may be in the pipeline. 100 player Apex Legends lobbies tested In his December 10 YouTube video, reliable leaker and Apex Legends dataminer GarretLeaks noted that there have been some changes to the game files – specifically around private matches. Read More: New Apex Legends Arenas map ‘Habitat’ leaked – According to the leaker, Respawn have increased the size of their lobbies from 80 players to 100 players in private matches, showing that they’ve at least tested 100 player lobbies recently. Though, there is no telling just how in-depth the tests have been. Obviously, if the tests go well, it could be something we see in the main battle royale at some point, but as the leaker notes, there’s no telling if that’s the case just yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6X-95RVVjA Last October, Respawn’s Jason McCord explained that the battle royale’s maps were made with 60 players in mind, so adding another 40 players to the mix wasn’t quite feasible. However, after spending a few weeks on the newest map Storm Point, players have noted that it’s a bit sparse at times and could easily fit more players. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with Respawn’s testing.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Loba’s abilities – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Loba’s abilities Apex Legends GamepediaAn Apex Legends leak has revealed all the abilities that are in the works for Loba – with two that appear to be pretty similar, though there might be some balancing and testing needed first. With the start of each new Apex Legends season, players are able to get their hands on an all-new legend that changes the game in one way or another. For quite some time, there have been leaks about unreleased legends – with the newest appearing to be Loba. The unreleased legend has been rumored as far back as season three, though hints and leaks have released started to appear throughout season four. As the game has begun building towards season five, which is set to launch on May 5, more leaks have reared their head – including some animations. However, Apex Legends data miner iLootGames has revealed that the character currently has four abilities in the works – with their names and descriptions being revealed, though there is no confirmed distinction between tactical, passive, and ultimate. The abilities, which had rumored previously, focus on the character’s thieving backstory – as well as her having the ability to teleport across the map through translocation. As of now, her abilities are as follows: Ability 1 – Burglar’s Best Friend – throw a disc and teleport to that location – Ability 2 – Supply for Demand – Hold to choose a type of loot. Reveal that type of loot in the area around you through walls – Ability 3 – Eye for Quality – Loba can see through nearby walls for loot – Ability 4 – Black Market Boutique – Place a device that can steal all nearby loot. – The YouTuber noted that Burglar’s Best Friend would appear to be the Tactical due to some leaked animations, and that Black Market Boutique appears to be her Ultimate considering how powerful it seems. As for the other two, seeing as they seem to be the same, iLootGames added that Respawn could be testing between them to see which works better as a passive ability. Of course, though the leaker has been ultra-reliable in the past – including recently with the Prowlers in the Old Ways Event – there is no way of knowing what is in store until Respawn adds the character. They threw a spanner into the works with the release of season four as every Apex Legends fan was expecting to get Forge but ended up getting Revenant.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals in-game emotes possibly coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals in-game emotes possibly coming soon YouTube: TDI PS4A fresh data mine of Apex Legends has uncovered a handful of ’emotes’, which will potentially be usable mid-match or during the victory screen, somewhat similar to Fortnite. Currently, the only emotes in Apex Legends are those that can be used while skydiving from the initial dropship. However, unlike games like Fortnite and Blackout, there’s no way to mock your opponents with a dance mid-game. That could be about to change, however, as reliable data miner iLootGames has uncovered a set of emotes which could potentially be a new emote-type that can be performed on the ground during a match. Back in Season 2, the data miner found lines of code which indicated some development testing was being done for in-game emotes, and have now found actual animations of these emotes in the files. It appears the emotes are tied to certain Legends, for example, Pathfinder doing the ‘robot’ dance and Bloodhound with their Raven. So far, three emotes have been revealed by the leaker, but presumably, there would be more for other Legends if this feature was added to the game. Remember its all just speculation. Here is another one pic.twitter.com/EkPyYOXsXa — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) March 10, 2020 It’s not clear though, whether these emotes will be usable while in a match, or if they are only available at other times. Perhaps they will be available in the lobby, or on the victory screen, as others have suggested. Possibly but they dont call poses “”emotes”” in the file. — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) March 10, 2020 There was a mixed reaction to the possibility of these emotes, with some players feeling that they are too silly and don’t fit with the style and lore of Apex Legends. Dancing emotes are a massive part of Fortnite’s cosmetics, but that game is much more lighthearted by comparison. Others are also concerned that these emotes will simply dilute the loot pool from Apex Packs further, making it harder to get items you really want. It’s worth noting again this is just a game file leak at the moment, so there is no confirmation of what these emotes are for, or if they are even coming to the game officially at all.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals images of unreleased Forge ahead of Season 4 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals images of unreleased Forge ahead of Season 4 EAThe start of the Apex Legends Grand Soirée Arcade event has given dataminers a new patch to dive into, and they have already revealed new images of the unreleased character named Forge. Forge was first found in the files back on November 5, but months have passed and we still haven’t seen any hints of him popping up in the game. While that remains the case, Apex’s latest patch has allowed miners to uncover more images of him, indicating he might be getting closer to an official release. Apex Legends dataminer iLootGames revealed a full image of the supposedly upcoming character, saying it was added into the game with the Grand Soirée Arcade event update. This is Forge btw, his medallion is a charm now .. this graphic was added to the game files today, interesting… VERY INTERDASTING pic.twitter.com/5QIzEjRWbP — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) January 14, 2020 An additional image was unearthed by That1MiningGuy, another popular Apex Legends leaker, and it gives players a closeup on Forge’s medallion he’s wearing around his neck. From the sounds of things, it’s looking like players will be able to equip this medallion as a weapon charm once they unlock it. https://twitter.com/That1MiningGuy/status/1217161058844135425 What this leak does mean is that Revenant is no longer a lock to be the Season 4 character. Instead, it could actually end up being Forge instead, if the developers stick with the regular format. Going by the traditional release schedule, each season gives players a new character, but that doesn’t mean Respawn can’t mix it up going forward. That1MiningGuy notes that a placeholder has shown up in the files for an unknown character, but it’s looking like that’s for the Dummie’s Big Day mode that will be part of this event. https://twitter.com/That1MiningGuy/status/1217148930510721024 Forge’s initial leak revealed his abilities, six of them in fact, even though every character currently in the game only sport three each. Either Respawn have plans to ramp up the power of their characters in the future, or they’ll be choosing out of this list: Pull Shot: Short-range grapple that pulls enemies into you or can be used to launch yourself into the air. – Ground Slam: Press crouch while airborne to slam into the ground below. – K.O. Punch: Jump forward in a direction. Press crouch while airborne to slam into the ground below. – One-Two: Bull rush in a straight line. If you hit an enemy along the way, press again to do an upper-cut launching you into the air. – One The Ropes: Enhances your melee to do more damage the lower your health is. Dealing melee damage gives you temporary overshield. – Victory Rush: Killing a player with a melee attack restores your health and gives you a 30% speed boost for 10 seconds – There are several characters the devs can choose from to join the roster for the upcoming season outside of just Forge and Revenant. A whopping 15 different legends have leaked, so the vault is just filled with options and there’s nothing concrete pointing one way or another for who the next one will be. Octane, Wattson, and Crypto have been the three characters added to the game so far through seasonal updates, with Crypto having his own in-game teases. It’s possible we could be seeing the same thing happen as we approach Season 4, but the question remains of it it’ll be Forge, Revenant, or somebody else entirely being teased.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals how Rampart’s abilities will work – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals how Rampart’s abilities will work Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends data miner ‘shrugtal’ has revealed some early clues as to how Rampart will fit in Respawn’s battle royale title, sharing some of the effects that his abilities will have on others in-game. Respawn has currently made 13 playable characters available, following the addition of Loba in Season 5, each with their own playstyle and abilities to help them stand out. However, there will be many more released in future seasons, and among some of the potential Legends, which were leaked in October, was Rampart, who could be making his entrance in Season 6. While little is known about the lore of the character, Apex Legends leaks have previously teased Rampart as an engineer-based character who will have an incredibly unique ability kit, allowing him to repair items with his rumored ‘Fixer’ melee weapon. The future Legend might be introduced sooner than expected, after prominent data miner shrugtal revealed that even more of the character’s assets had been added to the game following the latest June 23 patch. I don’t think people have noticed in this image that Rampart has banner animations for: * Fixing Lifeline’s Drone * Fixing Octane’s Legs * Friend of a lootbinhttps://t.co/ws0XtPmDOv— Shrugtal (@shrugtal) June 23, 2020 The new leaks revealed a look at a “ton of new rampart assets” and shrugtal later explained that there were some new animations in the files that provided some clues on how the new Legend’s abilities could work. Rampart’s new fixing mechanic could be a huge boost to characters like Lifeline and Octane, as it was revealed that he could “fix” abilities such as Lifeline’s healing drone during a match. “I don’t think people have noticed in this image that Rampart has banner animations for: Fixing Lifeline’s Drone, Fixing Octane’s Legs, Friend of a lootbin” shrugtal added. The Engineer also seems to have some interesting interactions with loot bins that are scattered around in Apex Legends, which may result in the character receiving better loot with his ability kit. However, as with all leaks, Respawn could still change many of the abilities before releasing the new character and it is still unclear when, if ever, Rampart will be added to the live servers. Some of the other skills that have been leaked for Rampart’s kit include the engineer’s capabilities to build cover, place mounted turrets, and more, which would likely make him quite a viable pick in Apex Legends.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals how long-awaited gift system will work – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals how long-awaited gift system will work Respawn Entertainment, Epic GamesApex Legends players have waited for a Fortnite-style gifting feature to hit the game, and now, the anticipated feature is finally heading to the battle roylae. No matter which battle royale you choose to play, be it Fortnite, Warzone, or Apex Legends – it’s always nice to share items with your fellow teammates and friends. New and exciting skins are always arriving, such as crossovers with the Alien and Predator franchises respectively. Unfortunately for Apex Legends players looking to kit out their squad, the ability to gift items has been missing since the game’s inception. After years of requests, players can look forward to their wishes coming true, as a gifting feature is apparently coming in Season 15 – and there are even details about how it’ll work. Apex Legends set to copy Fortnite with gifting system Developers Respawn Entertainment seem to have recognized the pleas of players, as leaker KralRindo has spotted further details about a gifting feature within the 14.1 update. Detailing the currently available feature on social media, KralRindo explained that “new gifting strings” were within the “14.1 update.” The leaker made note of a specific lines of code such as: “GIFT_INFO_FRIEND_TITLE” – “GIFT_INFO_PLAYER_TITLE” – “GIFT_INFO_EXTRA_TITLE” – “GIFT_INFO_CONTACT” – Alongside this discovery, KralRindo also specified that “we got a new UI icon, seems like it’s actually just buying item(s) for someone rather than trade.” The upcoming feature appears to work in the same vein as Epic Games’ Fortnite, in which players can choose to gift skin packs to anyone on their friends’ list. Currently, the developers haven’t publicly stated when gifting will enter the game, though, as noted, leakers have suggested it’ll be arriving with Season 15. Similarly, there is yet to be any mention of a trading feature for Apex Legends, rather than passing on newly purchased items to other players.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals how Campfire LTM will work – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals how Campfire LTM will work Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends limited-time mode (LTM) is on its way and leaked game files have suggested that it will be based around ‘Campfires’ as part of the ongoing Lost Treasures Event. The Lost Treasures event introduced plenty of changes, following its release on June 23, with Crypto’s map room, Mirage’s Heirloom set, and more added to Apex Legends. The return of the ‘Armed and Dangerous Evolved’ game mode was another change seen during the in-game event, however, Respawn will seemingly be introducing a brand new LTM soon, according to a handful of leaked game files. While it was previously leaked that a new ‘Campfire’ LTM was in the works alongside the return of the classic Shadowfall playlist, the new mode could be arriving sooner than expected. Prominent data miner shrugtal, who initially leaked the upcoming playlist, shared even more Campfire LTM details on July 10, giving players an idea on what to expect. The Apex leaker explained that these campfires would work similarly to the Cozy Campfires seen in Fortnite, allowing you to restore any missing shields or health when nearby. “The campfires will be scattered around the map,” he explained, “there were likely be far less healing items on the floor, similar to how it was in Armed and Dangerous, and you will be forced to use to these campfires to heal and replenish shields.” Shrugtal also revealed an early look at the campfires, which closely resemble the Respawn Beacons, later explaining that they would be taking the place of the Respawn Beacons in-game and would provide AoE healing to players He also added that it is possible the upcoming LTM could be played on Kings Canyon’s After Dark map and highlighted that the “bright glowing” campfires would be marked on the HUD, making them easy to find in any surrounding. While it is unclear when exactly this new game mode could be released, Shrugtal revealed game files suggesting that the Campfire LTM was intended to release during the Lost Treasures event, which is now over. The leaker now estimates that it will likely be seen during the Summer Sale on July 21.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Holo-Day event skins & holiday lobby screen – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Holo-Day event skins & holiday lobby screen Respawn EntertainmentUpcoming skins and charms for Apex Legends’ holiday-themed Holo-Day Bash event have been leaked, revealing new cosmetics for Loba, Revenant, and Wraith along with a Christmastime theme for the lobby. With the holiday festivities among us, Respawn are cooking up a trove of content themed around the winter season. It’s not yet known what the devs are planning in terms of major LTMs or the like, but a new leak shows us just how many cosmetics players can expect to collect. While there will be some skins returning from 2019, there’s going to be a healthy batch of completely fresh designs for the Apex community to pick up. Popular Apex Legends dataminer ‘Biast12’ found a wealth of new information in Apex’s files that show how the holiday offers will look like when they drop in the shop. Apex Legends Holo-Day bundles The Christmas Event Bundle Showcase https://t.co/rZjEj35dOW pic.twitter.com/1WzH5sbtFl — Biast12 (@Biast12) November 16, 2020 There will be multiple sets on display in the shop for the coming months – about eight bundles in total, most of which will include a Rare or Epic skin for a Legend or weapon. Biast put together a showcase that prominently features every cosmetic in the leak which is expected to drop sometime soon. While none of the bundles currently have a proper name attached to their file, we still have the full scope of what Respawn are looking to offer, including the amazing ‘Brudda Bear’ skin for Gibraltar. Other character skins of note come in the form of Crypto’s Cool Operator, Revenant’s Frost Ancient, and Loba’s Crystalline Perfection. Apex Legends Holo-Day Bash tracker also leaked Respawn’s non-denominational-holiday presents to the Apex community will reportedly come in the form of a brand new content for players to grind for. The Holo-Day Bash tracker will have 10 different tiers with a total of 4000 XP all the way. Every level will reward anything from banner badges to Rare skins for Bloodhound and Horizon. The leaked image also invites players “aboard the new-and-improved Winter Express,” so a return of the holiday LTM could be in the cards. When is the Apex Legends Holo-Day Bash 2020 event? While there hasn’t been any indication that there will be a huge event like last year, Apex players will at least get the chance to score new loot for their Legends. No times have been suggested for 2020’s Holo-Day Bash, although previous leaks have mentioned dates ranging from December 1 to January 4, according to PCGamesN. Last year’s event ran from December 12 to January 7, along with the Winter Express LTM. As always, we will continue to bring you the latest news for this as more information gets announced and/or leaked.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals ‘Golden Tickets’ coming as Season 15 teasers mount – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals ‘Golden Tickets’ coming as Season 15 teasers mount Respawn EntertainmentA datamine for Apex Legends has revealed a new teaser event for Season 15 which tasks players with crafting golden tickets. Apex Legends Season 15 is nearly here, and players are eager to discover what Respawn has in store. Fans expect Season 15 to drop around November 1, 2022, which means October’s Fight or Fright event should be the last event of Season 14. Now, a recent datamine has leaked a new teaser event that will task players will finding Golden Tickets through in-game Crafting Harvesters. Apex Legends datamine reveals Season 15 teaser event The datamine comes from Apex Legends leaker SomeoneWhoLeaks on Twitter, who posted images of Apex Legends’ code. The code in question shows various labels that heavily hint at what this Season 15 teaser event will be, will phrases like “CRAFTING_EVENT,” GOLDENTTICKET_COLLECTED_NOTIFY,” and “TIME_UNLOCK_DAYS_HOURS.” Naturally, this isn’t the first time developer Respawn has implemented a teaser event weeks before the new season begins, such as Season 12’s Mad Maggie teaser event. According to the leaker, this teaser event begins “on Tuesday” meaning October 11, 2022. “You’ll need to find a Golden Ticket through crafting harvesters (seemingly). You can do the final part of the teaser with friends a few days later, most likely October 19th.” Unfortunately, that’s all fans really know about the upcoming event. However, there’s still a bit of information regarding what Season 15 has in store. For one, Season 15’s Legend is likely one of the leaked characters found in more recent data mines, with many fans believing the next Legend will be Catalyst. Additionally, Respawn released a teaser image for the next map coming to Apex Legends, which will be based on the plant Boreas. Of course, whether this new map is coming in Season 15 remains to be seen. For now, players should look forward to the Season 15 teaser event apparently arriving on October 11, 2022.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals first look at private match menus & features – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals first look at private match menus & features Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has given the community a first look at the upcoming custom lobbies & matches feature that Respawn has been developing. While character reworks, new LTMs and map changes are all requested on a regular basis by the Apex Legends community, there’s one unreleased feature than is mentioned more than any other, and that’s private matches. Although the exciting addition was mentioned by the devs all the way back in early 2021, very few details have been shared about its development. With huge content creators looking to host lobbies and friends just wanting to get together on their favorite map to compete, private matches enhance the multiplayer experience of any FPS. Luckily, a leak has given players their first glimpse at the custom lobby menus, and it looks as if Respawn has given the community plenty of options. Custom Lobbies feature leaked in Apex Legends Posted to the ApexUncovered subreddit by user 69AG420, a new leak has given players their first glimpse of custom matches in Respawn’s battle royale. As showcased in the video, players are capable of assigning every squad in the lobby with individual competitors, selecting a map, the choice of mode, and a range of other options. However, for now, it doesn’t look like there are any settings that allow hosts to change fundamental aspects of the Apex battle royale experience. This will be disappointing to a lot of players as other FPS titles allow players to change health amounts and weapons spawns, giving the host a lot more freedom. While none of these extra features appear to be available in the build shown in the leak, it’s possible they’ll be added at a later date. Despite this, the essential aspects of a private match are all there and will allow players to group with their friends and compete in custom games for the first time ever in Apex Legends. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to know when private matches will be released into the Outlands, but with the feature looking basically finished in the backend, there’s a chance they could arrive in Season 14, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Mythic Bangalore skin with Pilot theme – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Mythic Bangalore skin with Pilot theme Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has given the community a first look at a Bangalore Mythic Skin, similar to Bloodhound’s Apex Hunter Prestige skin that arrived in early Season 12. Instead of releasing a brand new Heirloom in the 2022 Anniversary Collection event, the devs decided to unveil the first-ever Mythic skin for Bloodhound. Although this received a mixed reception at first, with some players even threatening to boycott the cosmetic, it looks like Respawn has more Mythic skins in the works. Alongside the nine unreleased Legends that surfaced, a new pilot-themed Bangalore Mythic skin was revealed. While there’s no release date for the skin, it’s possible it appears in an upcoming collection event. Pilot-themed Mythic Bangalore skin leaked On March 22, the Mythic Bangalore skin was posted to the ApexUncovered subreddit alongside a huge amount of other leaked content. Similar to the Bloodhound Prestige skin, the Professional Solider’s Mythic cosmetic seems to have different tiers that players can unlock after dealing a certain amount of damage. The pilot-themed skin has a white, grey, and orange theme and will likely require players to collect all 24 items in a collection event to unlock if it ever releases. On the skin select screen, the cosmetic even comes with a small description relating to Bangalore and how much the IMC soldier’s uniform means to her. It’s worth noting that while this skin appears finished, it’s possible it’s been changed or scrapped completely since the leak was captured. Considering the reception to the Bloodhound Prestige Mythic wasn’t the best, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Respawn go back to the standard weapon Heirlooms. However, it’ll just be a case of keeping our eyes peeled and seeing what the devs have planned for the next upcoming Collection events.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Lifeline Town Takeover on Olympus – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Lifeline Town Takeover on Olympus Respawn/EAFresh Apex Legends leaks have given fans a first look at Lifeline’s ‘Med Bay’ Town Takeover that is set to land on Olympus before long. As Apex Legends has gotten bigger and bigger over the last few years, Respawn Entertainment has been exploring the backstories of the different legends in a few unique ways – both in-game and out of it. When it comes to the in-game side of the lore, things like voice lines, easter eggs, and heirlooms have allowed players to get additional insight on their favorite characters, but we’ve also seen Town Takeovers play a part as well. The Town Takeovers are not only popular because they offer up additional lore, but also because they change up the battle royale’s maps for an extended period of time. And, now, it looks like Lifeline will be next in line to get a bit of love. Apex Legends dataminer Ezra_RC, who has proven to be a pretty reputable source for leaks recently, revealed that Lifeline’s Town Takeover will take place on Olympus. As seen in a few of the images shared by Ezra, the new POI will resemble a medical clinic – because, of course – and it should be located near the edge of the map towards Bonsai Tower. Obviously, loot will change from game to game but don’t be surprised to find more medical supplies than normal there, with Respawn probably wanting to really sell the theme of the Town Takeover. As it stands, we don’t have a date for when the Town Takeover may land on Olympus, but recent leaks have claimed that Lifeline will be getting a buff as a part of the upcoming summer event. That, according to leaks, is supposed to go live on June 21st, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Respawn kill two birds with one stone by giving Lifeline the spotlight for a little while. Though, we’ll have to just wait and see.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Laser Sight attachment – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Laser Sight attachment Respawn/EAA fresh set of Apex Legends leaks have revealed the first look at the previously uncovered Laser Sight attachment, with some details also being dropped about what they’ll do. With each new Apex Legends season, Respawn Entertainment shakes up the loot pool with new guns, weapon balancing, and the addition of new survival items as well. It has been a few seasons since a brand-new hop-up was added to the mix, but before the start of Season 12, data miners were able to uncover an interesting new attachment that has been in the works for some time – Laser Sights. Season 12 came and went without the exciting new hop-up arriving in the battle royale, but details about them have reared their head again in Season 13 and they could be arriving before long. A first look at the Laser Sights was revealed on May 27, with footage of the attachment being tested on an R-99 in Arenas mode being shared around social media. Like in other games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield, the laser sight appears in the middle of the player’s crosshair and is designed to make it easier to hip fire a weapon. Redditor VyKost listed some details about what the laser sight will entail, claiming that players will have to decide between the laser and a barrel stabilizer – you can’t use both. Additionally, the laser will not be visible to enemies, so it won’t give away your position, and there will be different rarities that impact the success of hip firing. As noted, it’s been nearly two seasons since the hop-up was first uncovered, but now there is testing footage, it might not be too far away from actually being released. Of course, Respawn has the final say on that and they’ll only release it when they’re ready. So, it’s a waiting game for now.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Fuse’s Ultimate Ability ahead of Season 8 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals first look at Fuse’s Ultimate Ability ahead of Season 8 Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak revealed how a map teaser reportedly for Season 8’s Fuse will operate, unleashing the character’s Ultimate in the closing stages of a match. Although Fuse has yet to be confirmed as the Season 8 Legend, more evidence is surfacing that suggests the explosives expert will be the next colorful character to be joining Apex’s lovable band of contestants. A video from data-miner ‘SomeoneWhoLeaks’ shows what is believed to be Fuse’s ultimate ability, formerly called ‘Firebomb.’ The mortar strike shown simply shows an undetonated explosive, which takes about 55 damage to detonate. Although ‘Firebomb’ is just a working name for the previously leaked ability, Respawn probably chose its moniker from the ring of fire that it leaves behind once it explodes, as can be seen in the clip below. I had some fun with this the other day! Fuse’s teaser will be going live 1/16/2021 Don’t ask questions, just enjoy me shooting some fish in a barrel.#ApexLegends pic.twitter.com/TM5PlEyD1v — SWL (@SomeoneWhoLeaks) January 14, 2021 What’s more, Fuse’s ult is believed to be the next in-game teaser to hype up the Legend, a tradition that started with Octane all the way back in Season 1 and through to the latest character, Horizon. The teaser is expected to quite literally drop into Apex Legends on Saturday, January 16, throughout the day for people to experience it for themselves. all according to the leaker. He claims that Fuse’s bombs will be dropped onto the map in rings 5 and 6, providing for a wild endgame scenario for anyone caught in the crossfire. Though no concrete details are available as of yet, the data-miner did mention that the explosion does around 70 damage while the fire ticked off 60 HP for about 130 damage in total. That is obviously not something you’re going to want to tank on your own but will provide for some fun chokehold strats or hazards to be aware of during a fight. The battle royale has a history of pre-release teasers that give a taste of what that season’s Legend will bring. Recently, Horizon’s Gravity Lifts were scattered throughout the Arena in October to give people an idea of what Season 7 would ultimately bring. Now it looks like it’s going to be Fuse’s turn for the spotlight since the character could be filling in the next slot in the Apex Legends roster.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals final LTM of Season 5 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals final LTM of Season 5 Respawn/EA[jwplayer J4j9SlSw]A fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed the final limited-time mode of season five and it looks to be yet another evolved LTM. As the Apex Legends seasons have progressed, Respawn Entertainment have been dropping different limited-time does to give the battle royale a fresh twist. In the past, players have been able to play a third-person mode, Dummies Day Out, and even Déjà Loot. In season five, we’ve had Armed and Dangerous given the evolved twist where respawn beacons are non-existent, there are no body shield tiers, and you’re limited to a selection of seven weapons that either shotguns or snipers. Though some leaks have suggested that the Shadowfall LTM could return and even a new one in the form of ‘Campfire’ but new leaks have pointed to the return of another previous mode getting the evolved twist. According to Reddit user novalue1998, a leaker on the ApexUncovered subreddit, the Always Be Closing LTM will be making its return as the final limited-time mode of season five, Fortune’s Favor. As already noted, it wouldn’t be the normal Always Be Closing limited-time mode that was first available in Grand Soirée back in January of 2020 but with the evolved twist. “The ring never stops closing. All players spawn with evolving armor,” reads the about description of the limited-time mode. “Keep on the move, the ring won’t slow down and you need to rack up some damage.” Even though the leaker has been pretty reliable before, dishing out spoilers for the end of the Broken Ghost quest, it is worth taking the info with a pinch of salt until you can drop into a game of the LTM itself. Respawn could very well shake things up and unleash something else – just like the Campfire LTM – before season five wraps up. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals early look at cosmetic Sprays coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals early look at cosmetic Sprays coming soon Respawn EntertainmentLeaked Apex Legends game files have revealed an early look at the new cosmetic items, Sprays, that are expected to be added to Respawn’s battle royale in Season 6. Apex Legends offers players a wide variety of ways to customize your game to their liking, with unique character and weapon skins that are available to be unlocked or purchased. However, it looks like Respawn has even more cosmetic items planned to be released, after an image of some Apex Legends themed ‘Sprays’ was shared on June 24. Sprays have been a popular cosmetic feature in many different multiplayer titles, such as CS:GO and Fortnite, as they allow players to decorate any walls or buildings with a design of their choice. Reliable Apex Legends data miner shrugtal has revealed that Respawn devs are now working on these Sprays following the release of Season 5, sharing a look at some of the UI icons for the cosmetic items. The six unique sprays revealed in the leaked game files feature some familiar faces, each with one of the current Legends, such as Loba or Wattson, placed in the center. It is likely that these will be released similar to some of the other cosmetic items in Apex Legends, requiring players to find them in packs or by unlocking them. These new sprays are not the only upcoming paint-based items that have been leaked, however, as a new hop-up that can turn weapons into a paintball gun has also been shared early. While many have rumored their release for Season 6, it is unclear just when Respawn will make these new cosmetic items live, although there is plenty of speculation as to which new legend that might be introduced alongside them. One of the leaked Legends is Rampart, an engineer-based character, who was also referenced in-game files following the June 23 patch, with new information revealed about how his abilities work.

  • Valkyrie heirloom leak in Apex Legends reveals amazing ramen animations – Dexerto

Valkyrie heirloom leak in Apex Legends reveals amazing ramen animations Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legend leak has revealed Valkyrie’s heirloom and it includes a special interaction that involves the Winged Avenger eating a bowl of ramen. Valkyrie mains may not have to wait much longer for a new cosmetic as an Apex Legends leak has revealed her heirloom as well as its countless special interactions. Apex Legends heirlooms are some of the most highly coveted items in the game, especially since they feature their own animations and lore. In fact, Valkyrie mains have been wondering what heirloom Respawn would release for the Winged Avenger. Well, now players have been given a full showcase of Valkyrie’s upcoming heirloom thanks to a new leak, but it’s the unique ramen animation that’s caught the community’s attention. Apex Legends Valkyrie heirloom leak All clues point toward the Winger Avenger being the next Legend on the roster to receive an Heirloom as a new leak has given players a detailed look at the upcoming cosmetic. Although previous leaks had provided clips of the weapon in its early design stages with no color, the new video showcases the spear in its full glory with an array of impressive details. Without a doubt, this appears to be one of the largest Heirlooms in the game, similar to Revenant’s scythe. By the looks of it, it seems to be inspired by the Yari – a traditional Japanese straight-headed spear. Similar the Crypto’s Heirloom, Valkyrie’s spear has a number of special animations that add an extra level of character to the cosmetic. While all of them are impressive, it’s her ramen bowl interaction that’s gone viral and convinced a lot of players that this is going to be the best Heirloom yet. Valk Heirloom With Ramen. I hate you all. pic.twitter.com/lKFwyXcCdn — Thordan Smash (@Thordansmash) June 14, 2022 While Respawn has yet to give an official release date for the Valkyrie heirloom, a set of recent leaks indicate that it is going to arrive on June 21 with the Awakening Collection Event. • Apex Legends leak reveals Crypto ‘heirloom’ sight in the works – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Crypto ‘heirloom’ sight in the works Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that a ‘heirloom’ optic is in the works for Crypto, and it could be released in the near future. There are plenty of different cosmetics to get your hands on in Apex Legends, ranging from character skins to weapon wraps, emotes, and much more. However, the most sought-after are heirlooms. Heirlooms are melee weapons that play into a character’s lore and backstory, and there is always plenty of attention on which one is going to be released next. Crypto has long been rumored to be next-in-line for an heirloom, with rumors ranging from him getting a knife to a katana. Yet, he could also be getting something entirely different as well. Apex Legends leaker HumanSAS revealed there is a Crypto-themed weapon sight in the game’s files, and it is tagged as an ‘heirloom’. After noting the ‘heirloom’ tag, plenty of players quickly became confused and questioned why Crypto’s heirloom appeared to be a weapon attachment rather than his own melee weapon. Other leaks cleared up the confusion, however, saying it won’t replace Crypto’s actual heirloom. “This is an optic for guns much like the HCOG,” replied GarretLeaks. “I don’t know why it has the name referring to an heirloom in the files but its nothing to do with it atm.” Crypto Heirloom Optic | View on Weapon | Unreleased Bro who found textures: @incieees #ApexLegends pic.twitter.com/DK2tvxx4Zx— HumanSAS (@humansas_) May 26, 2021 About this: This is an optic for guns much like the HCOG. I don’t know why it has the name referring to an heirloom in the files but its nothing to do with it atm. This is no different from the HCOG sight as of right now so this does not confirm the heirloom folks! https://t.co/tcv0ilIoHI — Garret (@Grrted) May 26, 2021 The leak is also interesting given that we’ve not seen legend-themed sights in Apex before, and it could be something that Respawn moving forward with. There is a whole host of possibilities for them, and it would no doubt peak the interest of players. As for Crypto’s actual heirloom, well, we’ll just have to wait and see on that front. It should be a melee weapon like the others, but what the weapon of choice will be is anyone’s guess.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals big Firing Range changes in the works – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals big Firing Range changes in the works RespawnA fresh Apex Legends leak has given us some insight into how the Firing Range training mode could be set to change, and it looks pretty interesting. As Apex Legends has progressed through the different seasons, Respawn Entertainment have had to keep adding fresh content to the mix to keep things interesting. The battle royale mode has undergone a fair few changes over time with new maps and features, as well as new modes like Winter Express, Arenas, and Control also being added to the mix. One mode that has gone fairly untouched, despite plenty of calls from players to switch things up, is the Firing Range training mode. The practice facility is pretty simple currently, as you can test all the game’s weapons and legends out, as well as get warmed up. Though, things could be set to change. On February 23, Redditor Pretty_Chard5030 managed to showcase a video from gameplay testing of the apparent ‘Fanatic’ energy pistol that could be coming at some point down the line. While some players got pretty excited about what they’d seen from the weapon’s damage stats, more eagle-eyed fans noted that the Firing Range that was being used in the video was slightly different from what everyone has currently. The training mode dummies were still in full effect, but towards the end of the video, players caught a glimpse of a terminal that will, at some point, allow them to control where the dummies are set up around Firing Range. Some noted that they may even be able to have them as moving targets, rather than static. Fanatic Energy Pistol Gameplay Source: https://t.co/fFk3TQv6Ot pic.twitter.com/5qnyKWacIB — Biast12 (@Biast12) February 23, 2022 Anyone who has played, or seen footage from Apex Legends mobile will know that it has an improved firing range that Respawn could very well bring over. The mobile game allows players to take on mini-games – which have different difficulty settings – before they hop into normal matches. Though, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals Apex Coins & store changes coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals Apex Coins & store changes coming soon Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has revealed that players will soon be able to purchase different amounts of coins, with the minimum amount finally dipping under 1000 coins. Just like plenty of other multiplayer titles, Respawn Entertainment has kept things fresh in Apex Legends with a raft of new cosmetics and purchasable items. To get your hands on a new legend, skin, or set of Apex Packs, you need to dip into your wallet and buy Apex Coins. These Apex Coins come in bundles of 1000, 2000, 4000, 6000, and 10,000 – but the prices of skins and cosmetics have been changing over time, making some players call for smaller bundles or even custom amounts. With Respawn introducing cheaper and cheaper cosmetics over the last few seasons, it seems as if players are finally going to get their wish before long, and they won’t just have to buy 1000 coins each time. According to fresh leaks, which have been highlighted by KralRindo and other dataminers, a new 500 coin bundle is set to be introduced into the Apex Legends store. The smaller coin amount, which has not yet had its price revealed, has appeared on a image of the store that now shows five bundles of coins instead of the usual four. “Added with last patch, 500 Apex Coins coming soon to the store,” the dataminer tweeted. Though, there is no advance beyond “coming soon” about when the new set of coins will arrive. https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1540331302284582913 Some players have speculated that it may arrive as a part of the annual summer sale, which is set to go live at some point in July, given there will be plenty of new items in the store. July 5th has been touted as a possible date, but as of now, we’ll just have to play the wait-and-see game until Respawn decides to make things official.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals all Tropics map POIs, vehicle spawns & more – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals all Tropics map POIs, vehicle spawns & more Respawn/EAA supposed first look at the new Apex Legends map as a whole, Tropic, has surfaced online showing the different POIs, vehicle spawns, and everything else you’d find on the game’s minimap. When Apex Legends first launched, Kings Canyon was the only map you could play, and it didn’t take long for fans to start wanting another map from Respawn Entertainment. The devs duly obliged, releasing World’s Edge a few seasons later, before also adding Olympus to the party too. The three map rotation has proven popular with players, especially as you have to change up your play style for each one. With Season 11 getting closer and closer, there have been rumors of another new map known as Tropics – also named as Tropic Island by some leakers – which has already started to be teased by the devs. Now, a new leak has a better look at what is set to come. Apex Legends Tropic Island map first look Previous leaks for the new Tropics maps have been centered around the teaser images that Respawn are dropping in the build-up to Season 11, but the new leak shows how the map is supposed to look in-game. The image surfaced online on October 17 from a few different leakers, with the wider look at the map showing 17 POIs, spawn points for the Tropics version of the Trident vehicle, as well as survey beacon icons. Similar to how the Olympus map was leaked ahead of time, the image uses some different colors to the in-game color scheme, which may also have some fans slightly skeptical that it is fake. Though, it does line up with previous leaks from YouTuber Thordan Smash which have since been proven correct. With the image looking a little zoomed in, it may be hard to tell just exactly how big the map will be when it launches, but it does give a better look at the spots that are going to be chokepoints for fights. As we get closer to the new season, Respawn will reveal the map in all its glory once they’re ready, and then we’ll know if this leak was spot on way ahead of time.

  • Apex Legends leak points to powerful upcoming item – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak points to powerful upcoming item EAThis Apex Legends leak might reveal a future plan for Respawn to debut a mobile respawning item that would allow a revive to happen without being at an actual station. Apex Legends offered an innovative way to revive fallen teammates by collecting their respawn card from their death box, something that we saw Epic Games later on add into their game. Respawn hasn’t touched the reviving system since Apex launched in February, but this leak seems to suggest that could be changing soon. A leaked sound file makes it sound like a portable respawning system is on the way judging by two quotes. “Found a portable respawn beacon here,” and “I’m deploying a portable respawn beacon,” are the voice lines which makes it sound like something is certainly on the horizon. At the time begin this is just a leak so it’s nothing set in stone. As with all leaks, you should take them with a grain of salt. If this does end up being a real item then it has a chance to be completely game-changing as you’ll be able to bring a teammate back anywhere you want. There has been no indication this is coming so it’s not something players should worry about until we get official confirmation from the developers. Unlike Fortnite, Apex Legends hasn’t received major weekly patches so there’s no precedent for something like this to come into the game in the middle of a season. However, it could be something the team is working for in Season 3 or it could just be a recorded voice line for a feature that was later scrapped. Either way, the information is still a leak and that’s probably all it should be treated as for now.

  • New Apex Legends leaks provides grim update for solos and duo modes – Dexerto

New Apex Legends leaks provides grim update for solos and duo modes RespawnApex Legends has some very grim news for players hoping for different playlists coming in the future. We’re barely into the start of Season 1 of Apex Legends but leakers are already discovering a lot about the future of the game. Since Apex Legends launched in February, fans have been calling for a Solos and Duos playlist so they don’t have to play with a full group of friends. Pretty much every battle royale game on the market features playlists like that so fans thought for sure it was coming. However, leakers have now discovered that ‘Solos’ and ‘Duos’ files have been completely removed from the game files with the Season 1 patch. This doesn’t mean the door is shut forever on the chances these playlists will ever become available, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be coming any time soon. Sad news. Solos and Duos removed from the files.#ApexLegends #ApexLegendsBattleRoyale #ApexPartner #ApexLegendsleaks #apexlegendsclips #apexlegendscommunity — Apex Legends – News & Leaks (@RealApexLeaks) March 19, 2019 Since Apex Legends features Legends with different abilities and playstyles it appears that Solos and Duos have a chance of never being in the cards. Realm Royale, another battle royale title that featured different character types, found a way to implement Solos and Duos, so all hope isn’t necessarily lost. For the time being, it doesn’t look like we should be expecting additional playlists to come to Apex Legends any time soon. • Apex Legends leak reveals 3 new attachments including Incendiary Rounds – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals 3 new attachments including Incendiary Rounds Another round of Apex Legends leaks have dropped, and they indicate some new gold hop-ups and attachments could be entering the game in a future update. Apex Legends doesn’t receive as many updates as other battle royales on the market such as Fortnite, so there are far fewer leaks that come out. However, whenever any sort of update happens, dataminers immediately dive into the files and see what’s new. YouTuber SG Rogue discovered a few new gold items will be making their way to the game in the future. The video shows incendiary rounds as part of a hop-up, a level 4 shotgun bolt, and a level 4 sniper stock all found in the files. Obviously, all three of these could end up being game-changers so it’s worth keeping an eye on them. What isn’t revealed is what weapons the attachments and hop-up will work for. The shotgun stock certainly has the ability to put the Peacekeeper back to the top of the food chain, if it comes to the game, of course. Incendiary rounds are perhaps the most interesting of all the leaks. Adding in a way to burn through health and shield would instantly be an important item to have. We don’t know exactly what guns these rounds will be available for, so that will be something players will have to speculate about. Obviously, an automatic weapon would be the best bet for this hop-up since it could just shred players, but it will be up to Respawn to decide what’s best for the game. All of these remain leaks for the time being so it’s important to remember that they might not ever actually arrive in the game. Oftentimes, things are datamined but don’t ever get added. We’ve seen it happen time and time again with several other games, so we just have to keep our excitement for new content in check. Apex Legends is currently running the Mirage Holo-Day Bash event that introduced a new LTM, and plenty of new cosmetics for players to unlock. There’s a lot of content for players to explore at the moment, so these additional hop-ups and attachments would be appreciated, but players certainly aren’t starving for new things as of yet.

  • Apex Legends leak suggests Mirage will be getting heirloom in Season 5 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak suggests Mirage will be getting heirloom in Season 5 Respawn EntertainmentMirage looks set to be the next Apex Legends character to get a limited-edition Heirloom melee weapon in Season 5, according to new datamined leaks. Loba may be the new kid on block in Season 5, but Fortune’s Favor has been all about Mirage. The Holographic Trickster got a rework in the battle royale’s May 12 patch, and now it looks like he’s in line to get an heirloom next too. Heirlooms are some of the rarest collectibles in Apex Legends. The battle royale’s cosmetic melee weapons drop from Apex Packs. They tell the backstories of Respawn’s ever-expanding cast of heroes and villains. So far, launch legends Wraith, Bloodhound, Pathfinder, and Lifeline have been bestowed with the limited-edition items. Season 1 addition Octane also jumped the queue — fitting well with his character — to get an Heirloom too. According to popular code-dipper ILootGames, Apex’s smooth-talking, recently-buffed hero Mirage would be the next legend to receive an Heirloom. Not only that, but the leaked code seems to point to exactly what his item will be. Mirage to get self-centered Heirloom in Season 5 There were speculations the Holographic Trickster’s Heirloom would be something relating to his backstory. One fan suggested Elliott Witt would wield a mirror, while another believed he would battle with a cooked pork chop. Unfortunately, neither of those amusing options will make it into the game, by the looks of things. Mirage’s Heirloom does still seem to fit though. According to leakers Shrugtal and Biast12, he could be wielding a mini-sized statue of himself. Mirage Heirloom next. It’s a statue of himself that he beats people with. THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. pic.twitter.com/zbORZoIYWg — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) May 12, 2020 “Well… check out our next Heirloom,” another data miner, iLootGames said, revealing the string related to the cosmetic: “MELEE_SKIN_MIRAGE_STATUE_NAME”. The leak does seem to lock in Mirage as the next legend to get a special melee weapon. well…check out our next heirloom “”MELEE_SKIN_MIRAGE_STATUE_NAME””— iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) May 12, 2020 This leak does appear to blow holes in the theories Revenant — who has a voiceline tied to a potential Heirloom item — and Crypto— who has animations relating to his Data Knife in the code — would be next out of the gates for Heirlooms. With any leaks, however, they can be taken with a grain of salt. For now, only Respawn knows exactly who will be getting the limited-edition weapons. It does, however, look like there’s a fair few planned for Season 5 and beyond.

  • Apex Legends hints at new World’s Edge map update: leaks, in-game teasers, dates – Dexerto

Apex Legends hints at new World’s Edge map update: leaks, in-game teasers, dates Respawn EntertainmentNew teasers in Apex Legends have World’s Edge shaking, and it could signal the start of big changes for the map possibly to come in Season 10. Respawn has been delivering content throughout the summer, mainly through the Genesis Collection Event and the follow-up Thrillseekers Event, and it could lead to a bigger change for the latest map in the game. As Season 9 winds down, and Season 10 approaches, we’re starting to see evidence of Respawn taking the story of World’s Edge to new heights, spiralling Legends through a new chapter of the battle royale’s narrative. World’s Edge memo sparks Season 10 update rumor On July 6, reliable Apex Legends dataminer Kralrindo posted a set of World’s Edge Season 10 leaks to Twitter. These include a set of memos from ‘Bilal’ (later found out to be the name of one of the developers). Bilal warns that Harvester activity is being increased on World’s Edge to purge the evidence and that catastrophe is coming. According to him, the planet is cracking apart and there’s serious tectonic activity taking place. “Serious tectonic activity in TY, they are actually increasing Harvester activity, do they want us to all burn? They’re purging the evidence, catastrophe’s coming.” https://twitter.com/kralrindo/status/1412397360471285760 This suggests that a destructive event is coming to World’s Edge in Season 10, potentially adding or destroying already existing POIs. Apex Legends Season 10 World’s Edge update leaks: What we know We don’t really know exactly what POIs will be adjusted in the World’s Edge update. However, there are a few ideas floating around. One big change could happen around Harvester, where there is a Bloodhound voice when you walk through the tunnels around it. “The ground shifts below our feet. I fear we are not prepared for change,” they said. Memo from Bilal: “”Whole World’s shaking. Finally got Hammond to run tests. Why is no one else freaking out?”” pic.twitter.com/rja5NmCTPf — Apex Legends News (@alphaINTEL) July 15, 2021 Respawn has also dropped a few hints relating back to real world events, including an instance of a meteor falling into a volcano in Indonesia. This reminds me of something @RodneyReece7 is working on but I’ll never tell https://t.co/GyCORsg3TB — Jason McCord (@Monsterclip_JM) June 17, 2021 When will the next Apex Legends World’s Edge update be revealed? The studio isn’t shy to blow up whole chunks of their map in the name of progress, so make sure to keep an eye out for future teasers that should be on the way soon. According to KralRindo, we can expect to see the next ‘phase’ of teasers on July 18, which could have another message from Bilal and in-game animation somewhere — or maybe something tied to the new Legend. No matter what, with the earth quaking across World’s Edge, expect to see some of those big ridges come crumbling down in Season 10, primed for August 3.

  • Apex Legends leaks hint at return of Valentine’s Day event in Season 4 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leaks hint at return of Valentine’s Day event in Season 4 Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends could be getting a Valentine’s Day makeover for the second year in a row, with a prominent leaker unveiling a first look at new voice lines, charms, rewards, and more hidden within the title’s latest update. While Respawn Entertainment has unveiled a great deal of new content for Apex Legends lately, the developers have been tight-lipped in regards to bringing back a Valentine’s Day-themed event. Prominent Apex Legends leaker ‘iLootGames’ has uncovered a wealth of content hidden among the latest files however, seemingly indicating that a new event is right around the corner. With a strong track record of leaking cosmetic unlocks ahead of various events, iLootGames has once again revealed new content coming to Apex Legends in the near future. This time, it’s with a Valentine’s Day twist. Providing a litany of new leaks on February 5, it was revealed the new thematically appropriate voice lines have been recorded for a number of Legends. Simply titled ‘quips’ in the game’s files, various charming quotes joke about gifts and heartbreak, while others outright reference Saint Valentine. “Shot through the heart,” one anonymous character states, while a voice line that can almost certainly be pinned to Wattson jokes that “love is a form of energy.” Overall there appears to be more than 50 unique Valentine’s Day-themed quotes coming into effect throughout the potential event, so you can expect to feel the love throughout the world of Apex for its duration. New valentines day quips pic.twitter.com/U08wxpdZ3u — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) February 4, 2020 Additionally, a 2020 Valentine’s Day login reward was spotted among the files, indicating players will receive some form of gift simply for opening the game. There’s no quite telling what this specific unlock may be, however the leaker also provided first-looks at a few items that will be available throughout the event. From a unique Valentine’s Day badge to adorable Pathfinder and Nessy charms, the Apex community could be in store for a much more sizeable event in comparison to that of 2019’s festivities. gonna be a valentines day login reward pic.twitter.com/9VoqVXgccv — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) February 4, 2020 Better renders of the valentines day charms. pic.twitter.com/8ty8b0qspx — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) February 4, 2020 The valentines day badge is totes adorbs pic.twitter.com/g6xRVJvS4P — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) February 4, 2020 Boasting an Epic ‘Through the Heart’ weapon skin, as well as a Legendary ‘Love of the Game’ banner, 2019’s minor event came just nine days after the release of Apex Legends in the 1.03 Preseason Patch. Players were also rewarded with a free badge after reviving or respawning a companion in the heat of battle. The 2019 version of the event lasted one week in total, and given that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, it’s likely that Respawn will officially confirm the event over the course of the next few days. Not the first time that this particular community member has accurately leaked upcoming content, they were also responsible for first looks at Christmas-themed items throughout the recent Holo-Day Bash. There’s no indicating just how large the Valentine’s Day event might be this time around, but with a wide array of voice lines and unlockable content already made public, it certainly appears to be a significant step up from the first iteration.

  • Apex Legends leak hints that Season 10 legend will be African – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints that Season 10 legend will be African Respawn/EAA new Apex Legends leak has hinted at the Season 10 legend having an African background, given there is already a reference to an Afrofuturism skin in the battle royale’s files. With Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy only having a few weeks left to play, fans of Respawn’s battle royale have started looking to the future and seeing what it might have in store for them. As usual, there will be a new legend, new weapons, cosmetics, and probably a few map changes to boot, just like there have been in the prior seasons. The new legend is always the big thing, and while Respawn ends up giving out some clues in the build-up to the new season, we usually get a better idea way before those teasers drop. Recent leaks have suggested that the Season 10 legend will be known as Seer – or at least that is their codename anyway. Voice lines for how the other legends react to them have already surfaced, talking about a mysterious male figure who “hides in the shadows.” Now, new leaks have suggested that the character will be of African descent, given that there are the workings of a skin for them already in the files. As data miner Garret points out, the game’s code uses the phrase ‘Afrofuturism’ to describe the skin. The phrase is used to describe a cultural aesthetic that mixes African history with modern-day technology, with the most popular references coming from Marvel’s Black Panther franchise. High chance of the next legend being African pic.twitter.com/58TG2f5OPz — Garret (@Grrted) July 3, 2021 Some fans may suggest that this leads the way for Blisk to be used as a legend, given he is South African. However, that doesn’t seem to be case, given the use of the name Seer. Surely Respawn would just use Blisk in the files. Fans have been calling for a Black male character in Apex Legends for a long-time – so this may be the answer they’re looking for. Regardless, we won’t have to wait long until we know about whoever the new legend may be. Season 10 is slated to start in early August, so teasers will begin at some point in July.

  • Apex Legends leak hints next-gen update could arrive sooner than expected – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints next-gen update could arrive sooner than expected Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leaker has discovered a line of code added in the 11.0 patch that suggests the next-gen update could be on the horizon. Season 11 of Apex Legends has arrived and players are finally getting to grips with the brand new Legend Ash, CAR SMG, and tropical Storm Point map. Despite this, while the community is always craving new content from Respawn, a lot of players are looking forward to the long-awaited next-gen upgrade that’s set to take Apex’s visuals to another level. Although the update was originally scheduled to launch in 2021, heading into November, a lot of the community have assumed the release date has been pushed back. Well, a line of code added to the game files in the 11.0 patch has given players hope that the next-gen patch isn’t too far away. When is the Apex Legends next-gen update coming? After diving into the game files following the Season 11 update, reliable dataminer Shrugtal discovered that the devs have added entries related to the next-gen update. While the PS5 code was introduced with a hotfix last season, the devs have finally added ‘Hardware_XB5’, the internal codename for next-gen Xbox. Although this doesn’t give us a specific release date, it does show that Respawn is working hard to complete the visual upgrade and it may arrive sooner than expected. Entries for “”XB5″” – internal codename for next-gen Xbox, were added in the 11.0 patch, suggesting next-gen release getting very close. This and entries for the PS5 gamepad in a hotfix late last season. pic.twitter.com/NCDudMLYD1 — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) November 16, 2021 So, does this mean the next-gen update is coming in 2021? Unfortunately, it seems unlikely given the silence from the devs on the topic, but it is certainly possible. With the incredible Storm Point arriving in Season 11, it makes sense why so many Xbox Series X|S and PS5 owners want their console to be pushed to the limit while playing Apex Legends. However, for now, it’s just a case of waiting for an official announcement from Respawn and keeping an eye on the code for any clues in upcoming patches.

  • Apex Legends leak hints further at PVE mode with “aggressive” Flyers – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints further at PVE mode with “aggressive” Flyers RespawnOne Apex Legends data miner has uncovered two new Flyers in the game’s files that might just confirm the addition of a Player vs Environment mode. Since the start of Apex Legends Season 2, fans have been given hints about new legends, new map changes, and the possibility of being attacked by the environment. This PVE aspect has looked an increasingly likely addition since game files for giant spiders were uncovered. Other data miners even went as far as finding other files that hinted at players being able to protect themselves from a non-player attack in the near future. However, none of that has come to fruition just yet. Despite that though, one data miner has uncovered a new set of files that might have given the biggest hint yet about another PVE attacker from the skies. According to @That1MiningGuy, a well-known Apex Legends leaker, there are in-game files for two brand new flyers – with one already being showcased in the Season Two: Battle Charge trailer. That already seen Flyer, which attacked Wattson in the trailer, is a Blue-colored monster without a name. However, the second one, a Yellow beast with the name ‘French Fry’ is seemingly brand new as it hasn’t been shown off just yet. That1MiningGuy even went as far as being able to render the animations of the ‘French Fry’ flyer to show how it might look in-game. Gonna be starting stream just a little bit late… think it was worth it (taught myself animation rendering in blender lol) pic.twitter.com/XUPCrlHFAy — That1MiningGuy (@That1MiningGuy) August 3, 2019 While fans may have been left questioning what these Flyers will do, and when they’re set to join the game, Reddit user FrozenFroh – who has dug into the lore of the game since it’s release – offered a few hints. Read More: How to fix Apex Legends DXGI error on PC – “Well, the Blue one attacks Wattson in S2 Trailer, so maybe aggressive?,” they stated on the first flyer. They added: “French Fry strings make it seem that its caged somewhere and will escape.” As ever, until Respawn make an annoucement or you find yourself fighting these Flyers in-game, it’s best to take this leak with a pinch of salt. It still remains to be seen if the developers truly have plans for these new Flyers, or if they are perhaps leftover code from an earlier idea and their focus has gone elsewhere.

  • Apex Legends leak hints at Titans PvE event coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints at Titans PvE event coming soon Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has seemingly revealed that a further crossover with Titanfall could be in the works for player vs environment event – but could the actual Titans be involved? With Apex Legends and Titanfall co-existing in the same universe, fans who have played both of Respawn Entertainment’s titles have been begging for more and more crossovers between them. We’ve seen pretty neat ideas from players for a Pilot legend and even incorporating Titanfall features like wall-running. However, Respawn has really only used select weapons, the Prowlers, and parts of the lore from their other popular game inside the battle royale. Though, a new leak might be pointing at even more happening in the future. Reliable Apex Legends data miner that1miningguy pointed out that there are strings in the current game files that point to a player vs environment (PvE) event where Titanfall characters are being used. In the data miner’s findings, you can see labels for the Spectre, Stalker, Frag Drone, and Titan being accompanied by the ‘_outlands’ tag. “This is interesting to me because I cannot remember seeing the specific strings for these NPCs that included the _outlands tag,” he tweeted, noting that nothing is confirmed however. This is interesting to me because I cannot remember seeing the specific strings for these NPCs that included the _outlands tag. (Not saying Titans for Apex… but maybe something PVE related regarding them?) pic.twitter.com/ulTPRDjOoF — That1MiningGuy (@that1miningguy) May 23, 2020 Of course, the references to Titans and different Titanfall character in the game’s files are nothing incredibly new. Many weapons and other items have been uncovered before, but only the Prowlers have been used in a prominent way so far. Respawn have said previously that they experimented with using Titans in Apex, however, they didn’t seem to fit and ruined the balance of things. Though, the Outlands tag attached to this sighting of the characters is interesting, as it might be in reference to an event coming down the line. Apex Legends season five currently has weekly hunts that are PvE based, with players taking on the Prowlers in week one, but it remains to be seen if Respawn has something bigger in mind involving the other Titanfall names.

  • Apex Legends leak hints at new “wave defense” PvE mode coming in future update – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints at new “wave defense” PvE mode coming in future update Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak uncovered by dataminers has hinted that Respawn may be developing a PvE “wave defense” mode including the Spectres added in Season 13. Since the release of Respawn’s battle royale back in 2019, the devs have introduced an array of LTMs to Apex Legends including Winter Express, Control, and Flashpoint. Despite this, the majority of these modes have pit players against each other in a PvP format, giving them a chance to test out their skills on other competitors in the Outlands. Now, a new leak has hinted that Respawn may be taking a different approach in an upcoming LTM, which tasks players with surviving against waves of AI opponents. Apex Legends PvE LTM in development involving Spectres Following the Season 13 update, reliable dataminer Shrugtal discovered a PvE mode in the game files that appears to be similar to the Broken Ghost quest from Season 5. The code name for the mode is “Dropdown” and it involves Spectres from the IMC Armories, but in this LTM it will be possible for the robots to self-destruct. Not only that, the undisclosed map will contain “Munition Drops” that contain a selection of mid-tier weapons, presumably allowing players to choose their setup before taking on the AI enemies. Shrugtal has speculated that Respawn could be designing a “wave defense” style mode, which would certainly be a fresh and exciting new LTM for players to jump into. Two more interesting pieces of data for this: 1) Code for self-destructing spectres, ala Titanfall 2 style. 2) A loot table entry for a “”Munitions Drop”” which contains a selection of mid-tier weapons. So fighting spectres, scavenge weapons from drops? Wave defense? https://t.co/mS4bb4x6g7 — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) May 10, 2022 In terms of a release date, there are no clues in the files that indicate when this LTM or main mode is going to arrive. However, with Respawn adding a lot more AI enemies into the game in recent seasons, it’s obvious they’re more comfortable than ever designing PvE encounters. So, fingers crossed this new mode is introduced in the near future, as it’s clear the Apex community has an appetite for LTMs than provide a break from the typical battle royale experience.

  • Apex Legends leak hints at new Survival game mode – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak hints at new Survival game mode Even though Apex Legends has only been out for less than two weeks, data miners have been hard at work uncovering all they can and the latest leak looks to be one of the biggest yet. Respawn Entertainment’s newest entrant to the battle royale genre has been making major waves throughout the gaming world ever since it released on February 4. A brand-new leak makes it clear that Respawn could be looking to expand their reach beyond the battle royale genre by introducing an all new Survival Mode. According to @RealApexLeaks, there are in-game files that point to the new Survival Mode, complete with spectators and commentators. Read More: Fortnite Battle Royale. There’s no word on whether any of these emotes will ever appear in the normal battle royale game mode of Apex Legends. The Survival Mode won’t just have spectators, though, as the leak also details the existence of commentators that will analyze the action as it unfolds. This is something we’ve seen in games like The Darwin Project, which gives Respawn a good guide on how to implement such a feature. The entire concept looks to bring a gladiatorial feel to Apex Legends, which fits perfectly given the appearance of Legend banners displaying stats that appear throughout the map in the game already. As with any leak, though, there’s no telling whether it will actually show up in the game. This is especially true given that Apex Legends has plenty of leftover Titanfall code in its game files since the game started as a Titanfall sequal. • Apex Legends Olympus map may get a spooky makeover for Halloween – Dexerto

Apex Legends Olympus map may get a spooky makeover for Halloween Electronic ArtsNewly leaked concept art for Apex Legends teases what’s supposedly a Halloween-themed makeover for the Olympus map. For many longtime players, Olympus sits high on the list of favorites in Apex Legends’ map rotation. Respawn first deployed the locale during Season 7, allowing players to do battle in a former utopia that floats among the clouds. Olympus isn’t playable as of writing, with Respawn vaulting the location at the start of Season 14. Still, players expect it to return with the advent of Season 15 later this year. And now there’s evidence to suggest that such expectations may soon become a reality. Leak teases Apex Legends’ Halloween-style Olympus map Courtesy of Apex Legends content creator KralRindo, concept art of a reworked Olympus map is making the rounds online. The art in question supposedly depicts a “new Halloween map” that showcases “Olympus After Dark.” In the image, Olympus’ overgrown terrain is tinged in warm colors that certainly appeal to an autumn/Halloween theme. It’s a little early in the season for EA and Respawn Entertainment to detail Halloween event plans for Apex Legends. In 2020 and 2021, for instance, such news didn’t surface until mid-October or later. If the past is prologue, reason dictates the pattern will repeat itself this year. A few more weeks may pass before Respawn confirms whether or not the above art actually constitutes a look at Apex Legends’ new Halloween map. Season 14 went live on August 9, debuting a new sharpshooting playable hero, Vantage. Apex Legends Season 15 will arrive on November 1; according to uncorroborated leaks, the upcoming season will bear the title of ‘Eclipse.’

  • Apex Legends leak gives first look at Bloodhound Town Takeover location – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak gives first look at Bloodhound Town Takeover location Respawn/EAAn Apex Legends leak has seemingly revealed the ‘first look’ at the Old Ways Bloodhound Town Takeover location – with the Technological Tracker’s Raven companion playing a big role. Since Respawn Entertainment started to follow the seasonal updates method for all-new content, Apex Legends players have had the chance to visit one-off locations based around some of their favorite characters. The locations are known as the Town Takeover, with both Octane and Wraith gets spots in Kings Canyon before Mirage had the Mirage Voyage descend on World’s Edge. With players getting hyped about Bloodhound’s Town Takeover, we’ve seemingly had our first look at what is to come. On April 5, a number of Apex Legends leakers, including iLootGames and Shrugtal, uncovered a set of promotional images for the upcoming event that are set to appear on Respawn’s official patch notes. One image features a better look at the menacing Prowlers that will join the battle royale party, while the other shows Bloodhound standing with its Raven’s Bite heirloom underneath a giant raven. It was pointed out by Shrugtal who tweeted: “Just realized that the Raven in the first image is a giant statue in the zone actually on the map so it’s our first look at the Town Takeover.” New promotional image assets patched in today. pic.twitter.com/lW3ZUdDUJg — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) April 5, 2020 Of course, the image doesn’t reveal all that much about what else is set to come in the Town Takeover but there might have been other clues about where it is being set on World’s Edge. The Apex leaker noted that a bird-like outline had appeared on another promotional image around the mountain, which is more commonly known as Sniper Ridge. This appears to be a link between the two images. Pretty sure that’s a giant bird on the side of what used to Sniper’s Ridge pic.twitter.com/hCjxZKF3XM — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) April 5, 2020 However, until Respawn drops an update and starts the Old Ways event, we won’t truly know what we’re getting into with the all-new Town Takeover. Though we won’t have all that long to wait as The Old Ways event will kick off on Tuesday, April 7 and run through Tuesday, April 21.

  • Apex Legends leak: Flamethrower and Remote Turret weapons coming soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak: Flamethrower and Remote Turret weapons coming soon Leaks for popular battle royale title Apex Legends have revealed that two new weapons are coming to the game in the form of a Flamethrower and a Remote Turret. Apex Legends has quickly become one of the world’s most popular games, with over 50 million people playing the game since it’s release on February 4. With such a huge fanbase, it’s no surprise that players and data miners alike are searching for hints and clues as to what is coming to the game in the future, and it appears Twitter user @AustinScriver may have found two new weapons that players will be able to get their hands on. The first weapon found in the game’s files is a Flamethrower. It’s currently unclear if Apex Legends players will be able to acquire the flame-shooting gun from floor loot or Supply Crates, or if it will be used as an ability for an upcoming Legend. LEAK: Something about a flamethrower was found in the game files. I don’t exactly know what it does (I’m Dumb, Idk how a flamethrower works). This item will likely be able to be placed down by players as extra firepower while in a gunfight, or to protect themselves from enemies who are trying to attack them. Much like the Flamethrower, it’s unknown if this will be available to all players or just as an ability on a Legend. LEAK: A Remote Turret was also found lol. @Respawn is defienetly saving some cool stuff for later. Who’s excited? This isn’t the first time we’ve seen leaks from Apex Legends, as data miners have already given fans a glimpse of two new Legends named Octane and Wattson, alongside another new weapon that’s set to arrive in the near future called the L-STAR. Of course, there’s no guarentee that these weapons will ever make an appearance in Apex Legends, but it’s likely we will see them at some point in the future.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals exclusive Battle Pass XP rewards and events – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals exclusive Battle Pass XP rewards and events Respawn EntertainmentThe highly anticipated Battle Pass for Apex Legends released on March 19, and fresh leaks are already hinting that new XP rewards or events might be coming to the game. After tons of initial controversy about the contents in the Battle Pass, it seems that players are coming around to the seasonal offerings as more incentives are slowly being uncovered. Apex Legends leaker ‘RealApexLeaks’ found lines of text that strongly suggest huge XP bonuses are on their way for Battle Pass owners which will make climbing the various tiers less of a pain. Obvious, but Battle Pass got Special Bonus kinda thingy.#ApexLegends #ApexLegendsBattleRoyale #ApexPartner #ApexLegendsleaks #apexlegendsclips #apexlegendscommunity pic.twitter.com/IFfZV5MpcG — Apex Legends – News & Leaks (@RealApexLeaks) March 19, 2019 Various files hidden in the new Battle Pass seemed to be named after upcoming iterations of special XP events such as ‘XpEventTypeDate_BattlePassOnly’ and ‘XpEventTypeDate_GetBattlePassFrac.’ Further, a heading called ‘BattlePass Specific XP’ hint at awards being on the way with notes that read ‘xp_first_kill_amount 500.’ Though it’s not concrete, the files indicate that Respawn Entertainment has at least planned for some sort of reward to those with the Battle Pass. Though it seems people on a player’s friends list could also benefit from a Battle Pass as a file called ‘xp_friend_boost_amount 3.0’ was found. Apex fans will have to wait to see if this means an XP multiplier or something else is coming to the game. Finally, a file named ‘battlepass_character_max_xp 25000’ and ‘battlepass_character_max_weekly_xp 25000’ could suggest that Battle Pass owners will be able to acquire extra XP throughout a given week by playing with different Legends. The Apex Legends Season 1 release will have tons of players finding every avenue to gain XP, and hopefully Respawn implements some of these ideas to make the grind a bit easier.

  • Apex Legends: New leaked ‘Evolving’ shield will be better than gold armor – Dexerto

Apex Legends: New leaked ‘Evolving’ shield will be better than gold armor Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak is signaling the possible inclusion of a new kind of armor that would give players a much better alternative than the Gold Body Shield. Respawn Entertainment have been navigating extremely rough waters with their community due to issues arising with microtransactions, coveted loot locked behind paywalls, bugs found throughout the game, and more. But the devs are slowly gaining back favor among their fans since the introduction of the Voidwalker event has been giving a ton of players to jump back into the Apex Games. And it looks like Respawn is keeping the hype train going by adding more fan-requested items. YouTuber ‘The Gaming Merchant’ highlighted files in the game with the tag “Evolving Body Shield” which could be the answer to players unsatisfied with what the high tier Gold Body Shield delivers. “For the Evolving Armor,” The Gaming Merchant explained what he found in the game’s files. “It starts at 150 (damage absorbed). It starts at Level 1 but it gains strength with more kills.” He goes on to say that as a player gains kills the armor would evolve into its next level, giving more defensive benefits each time. This would eventually ramp up all the way to level 4 which would give players a staggering 125 extra health. Needless to say, this would be an incredibly popular item for high-kill players who look for early eliminations by dropping into highly populated areas of King’s Canyon. (Timestamp at 1:52 for mobile viewers) The details of this leaked Evolving Body Shield are still murky, and in general, should be taken with a grain of salt. But the prospect of giving Legends over 200 points of damage would make some players near-unstoppable. For a long time, the Apex Legends community have been asking for a revamped take to the game’s highest tier armor since it feels pretty underwhelming, especially in late-game situations. While the leak isn’t a direct fix to the Legendary Body Shield, it would definitely be a worthwhile alternative to pick up if a player trusts their fragging abilities. An item like the Evolving Body Shields would definitely give players an incentive to look for more fights and only make Apex Legends more exciting to play.

  • Next Apex Legends heirloom could be for Crypto – Dexerto

Next Apex Legends heirloom could be for Crypto Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends are always hanging out for new and exciting Heirlooms for their favorite legends, and according to a recent leak, the next one is “likely” to be a katana-type sword for Crypto. Respawn Entertainment has done an excellent job of giving players a chance to add some flair and style in the form of skins and cosmetics. However, even the rarest items pale in comparison to ultra-rare Heirlooms. As it stands, players can get their hands on Heirloom Sets for Bangalore, Bloodhound, Caustic, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Mirage, Octane, Pathfinder, and Wraith. Each set includes a banner pose, a melee weapon skin, and a kill or intro quip. Players have been longing for another set, and it seems like they’re about to get their wish. But although most anticipated Wattson would be the next legend to receive one, a recent leak reveals that it’s “likely” to be Crypto instead. Biast12 is one of the most reliable data miners and leakers in the Apex Legends scene. He was the first to discover everything from the Olympus Map POIs to Town Takeover events and more. Now, in his latest leak, he claimed the next Heirloom is “likely” to be a katana-type sword for Crypto. “Likely next Heirloom = Seppuku/katana for Crypto,” he wrote. However, after some players pointed out Seppuku isn’t a sword, he did a quick google search and concluded it could be a Tanto. If the leaks are accurate, Wattson mains will be disappointed. They believe her Heirloom Set is long-overdue. However, Crypto mains have been saying the same thing, and they’re thrilled with the news. Biast12 hasn’t shared any evidence yet. So, we’ll have to wait and see whether his claims come to fruition in the upcoming weeks.

  • Apex Legends leak could show aim assist changes coming for console – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak could show aim assist changes coming for console Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak has hinted that Respawn could be implementing aim assist changes for console in the near future. Aim assist in Apex Legends has been a polarizing topic in the community since the release of the game, with some players calling it out as overpowered, and others claiming it needs adjustments to be more effective. In response to the ongoing debate, Live Balance Designer John Larson created a TwitLonger back in January, revealing that the team was “evaluating” changes and had heard the community “loud and clear”. Since then, the devs have remained completely silent on the issue, with players waiting patiently for an update on aim assist. Well, a recent leak uncovered from the game files seems to indicate that Respawn is in the process of adjusting the system, so changes could be coming in the near future. Apex Legends leak hints aim assist changes are coming Apex Legends YouTuber Thordan Smash has revealed a leak from the game files that indicates Respawn has altered aim assist in custom lobbies. Specifically, they appear to have changed the verbiage on console, and the PC override values: “All platforms will use PC aim assist values when enabled”. While this only impacts custom matches, a lot of the community are convinced that Respawn is testing the changes in private lobbies before adding them to the main modes. The code doesn’t give us a detailed breakdown of the specific changes, so it’s hard to know how much of an impact this will have on console gameplay. Custom lobbies in Apex Legends have changed the verbiage for Aim Assist on console and pc override values. Changes coming? pic.twitter.com/fZMM5lYTUr — Thordan Smash (@Thordansmash) June 18, 2022 Either way, a lot of console players are not pleased to hear Respawn is making adjustments to aim assist and are worried it’s going to make gunplay significantly more difficult. “Why? why! leave the aim assist alone, it’s like they really want to have us have the same aim assist as Back 4 Blood and that alone has a horrible aim assist for console players.” As it’s been six months since their official announcement on the matter, it does seem plausible that aim assist changes could be arriving soon. Let’s just hope we get a dev response in the near future so we can find out exactly what the plan is for aim assist heading into Season 14.

  • Apex Legends leak confirms Wraith Voidwalker skin finally returning soon – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak confirms Wraith Voidwalker skin finally returning soon Respawn EntertainmentStop the clocks! The legendary Wraith Voidwalker skin, which has only grown in popularity since it was removed in Season 2, is finally set to return in the Apex Legends Summer Sale next month, according to new datamined leaks. Wraith’s legendary Voidwalker skin — which started life as the ‘Ghostwraith’ cosmetic before Respawn switched the name — is by far Apex’s most popular ‘fit. The futuristic costume first debuted in Wraith’s Voidwalker event all the way back in Season 2, and hasn’t been available since, which has only added to its legendary aura. Players have demanded its return, of course, but Respawn has constantly scuppered those ideas, dubbing it “an event exclusive.” According to new leaks, however, it looks like the Apex devs may have finally folded. The super-popular Wraith skin is finally be returning to the game in a yet to be announced Summer Sale, dataminer ILootGames revealed earlier this week. Looks like a summer sale is coming with different bundles and guess what skin is going to be in it… voidwalker pic.twitter.com/96DRSFaXnm — iLootGames – ApexRanked.com (@iLootGames) June 23, 2020 The Voidwalker skin looks to be included in two Summer Sale bundles, according to the data string codes related to the event. The first is simply titled “Voidwalker Bundle” while the other is dubbed the “Phase Shift Bundle.” Wraith isn’t the only Legend to get a specialized bundle in the sale either, as far as the leaked code is concerned. Season 5 debutant Loba will also get a drop, likely called the “Dressed to Kill Bundle,” which will contain exclusive items. There is a huge amount of smaller bundles also included in the code, including a “Holy Grail” pack, a “Lucky Cat” bundle, and a “Treasure Trove” collection. Here’s the full list of Summer Sale bundles uncovered in the datamined leak: Holy Grail Bundle – Lucky Cat Bundle – Treasure Trove Bundle – Dressed to Kill Bundle – Voidwalker Bundle – Phase Shift Bundle – The code strings also seem to reveal when the Voidwalker skin, and all Summer Sale bundles, will actually arrive in-game. The data-code entry “200721,” which Dexerto has also confirmed is still in the game’s development files, suggests the seasonal sale will begin with an update on Tuesday, July 21. So, it looks like the wait is finally over for Wraith players that hopped into the world of Apex Legends after Season 2. Now the question is, what other rare and legendary skins from past events could be ‘unvaulted’ in Season 5?

  • Apex Legends leak confirms Bloodhound Twitch Prime skin coming next – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak confirms Bloodhound Twitch Prime skin coming next Respawn/EAAn Apex Legends data miner has confirmed that Bloodhound’s previously leaked Twitch Prime Gaming skin is next in line to be released. As the different Apex Legends seasons have unfolded, the roster of Legends have been given a whole host of new cosmetics. Be that skins, emotes, quips, or the ultra-rare heirlooms, players have plenty of ways to customize their favorite legend. And, just like with other popular games, Twitch Prime members can use their subscription to their benefit by grabbing exclusive cosmetics that are only on offer to them. Wraith, Pathfinder, Revenant, and Octane have been among the select few legends to get their own Prime-only skin, but now, it looks like Bloodhound will finally join their ranks with a previously leaked new skin. The fresh claim comes from reliable leaker Shrugtal, who had previously leaked the new purple and flamed-themed Bloodhound skin back in May, and claimed that it was first set to arrive back in July. “This is scheduled for the next Twitch Prime release now,” the leaker posted on August 28, quote tweeting their initial post from late May. There is typically one new Twitch Prime skin each month in Apex, so expect this Bloodhound skin to release sometime in September, though there’s no exact date set yet. This is scheduled for the next Twitch Prime release now. https://t.co/YT1mY4GisO — Shrugtal (@shrugtal) August 28, 2020 The current Twitch Prime rewards for Apex Legends – which include a Rampart skin and weapon charm – are set to become unavailable on Thursday, October 1. The Apex Prime Gaming page confirms that September will be the next drop: “Claim your Rampart skin today and be sure to check back in September for the next content drop.” After Bloodhound, we can expect another cosmetic in October, the final one before the new Apex season is set to begin, on November 10. In November, there will likely be a new Prime reward for whatever new Legend is released.

  • Apex Legends leak claims Vantage coming in Season 14 with Goliath event – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak claims Vantage coming in Season 14 with Goliath event Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has claimed that Vantage will be the new legend added in Season 14 and that there will also be a ‘safari’ event where players will encounter a deadly Goliath on Storm Point. It’s a little over two months until Apex Legends Season 14 is set to kick-off, however, that hasn’t stopped players and leakers alike from trying to dig up information about the new season. After a massive leak revealed many of the legends that Respawn have been working on over the last few months, as well as a new map, there is plenty of stuff for players to speculate on. However, while some have guessed that the likes of Catalyst or Jester might be arriving in Season 14, it appears as if Vantage will be next, but they won’t be alone, as Respawn is seemingly tapping into some of the backstory they’ve already laid out for Bloodhound with the arrival of a deadly foe too. On June 5, Apex Legends YouTuber ThordanSmash claimed that Vantage will be the next legend to arrive in the Apex Games – complete with her sniper kit that we’ve seen in previous leaks. As well as the new legend, the YouTuber stated that Vantage will also play a part in a Safari hunting event on Storm Point, where players will come face-to-face with a Goliath. These Goliaths have been seen in Apex before through Bloodhound’s Tales from the Outlands video. The massive beast will likely roam around Forbidden Zone – also known as Jurassic Park to some players, given the fence and habitat in the area – and will supposedly “two-shot” players with red armor on. So, they’re not to be trifled with. Of course, while the YouTuber has had some solid sources previously for upcoming changes, nothing is confirmed until Respawn says so. As noted, Season 14 is set to get underway in early August and it’ll be a few weeks before we even start getting teasers for the new season. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.

  • Apex Legends leak claims to show new Ball Game LTM on Titanfall map – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak claims to show new Ball Game LTM on Titanfall map Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has showcased a new “Ball Game” LTM in early development and it’s set on Titanfall map Colony. Although new characters, cosmetics, and maps are always celebrated by the Apex Legends community, it’s often Respawn’s LTMs that get the most praise. Whether it’s Flashpoint, Control, or even Winter Express, LTMs provide players with a chance to take a break from the battle royale format and just focus on having fun. Despite this, LTMs are rarely a focus for the devs as they’re never in the game for a long period of time, so spending a lot of development time on them often doesn’t make sense. However, according to a new leak, it looks like Respawn has plans to add a “ball game” LTM at some point in the future. Ball Game LTM leaked for Apex Legends Despite having their own rules and formats, the majority of Apex’s LTMs have still centered around killing opponents to secure a win. Well, as showcased by Apex leaker HYPERMYST, it looks like Respawn is developing their most unique LTM yet, and this time it involves scoring points with a ball. Set on the Titanfall map Colony, players need to collect the ball in the center of the map and deliver it to specific zones in order to score points. By the looks of it, competitors will be able to take down opponents with weapons, but whoever has the ball won’t be able to retaliate. If this ever does arrive in the Outlands, it’s safe to say it would be the most unique LTM the devs have ever released and would likely become an instant fan favorite. Despite this, it’s worth noting that this LTM has not been confirmed by Respawn, so it’s possible it has been scrapped or is an old design that never made it into the game. Of course, it’s also possible that it could be added in a future season, we’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, it’s an interesting idea that’s definitely got the community excited for future modes.

  • Apex Legends leak claims Titanfall maps are coming for new LTM – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak claims Titanfall maps are coming for new LTM Respawn EntertainmentAn Apex Legends leak has hinted that a set of Titanfall maps may arrive in a future update for a brand new LTM. Since the release of Apex Legends back in 2019, Titanfall has had a huge impact on Respawn’s battle royale, with the devs adding features and characters directly from the previous franchise. Whether it’s Ash, the CAR SMG, Valkyrie, or the Specters that players can battle for loot on Olympus, the Apex community loves callbacks to Titanfall and the fact that the games share the same universe. Well, according to a set of leaks, one of the most exciting Titanfall features could be set to arrive in Apex in the near future. Players may find themselves battling on a bunch of Titanfall’s iconic maps, as in the last patch, a set of locations were added to the files for a new LTM. Apex Legends hints Titanfall maps could be coming Reliable Apex Legends dataminer and YouTuber KralRindo revealed that Respawn added nine Titanfall maps to the game files in the last patch. With Exoplanet, Homestead, Angel City, Black Water Canal, Boneyard, Crash Site, Rise, Eden, and Colony all being added, it’s certainly an exciting prospect for Titanfall fans. While none of these locations would fit Apex’s battle royale format, it appears Respawn are planning on using them for an upcoming game mode. For now, it’s hard to know exactly which LTM will feature the maps. However, a leak back in April did showcase a ball game LTM being played on Colony so it’s possible this is “Capture Point”. Either way, Titanfall fans will be overjoyed to revisit the iconic maps and an LTM would be the perfect opportunity for Respawn to utilize these locations. While the maps have been added to the files, there’s no indication of when this Titanfall mode will be added to the game. For now, it’s just a waiting game, but fingers crossed Respawn announce their plans for the maps in the near future.

  • Apex Legends leak claims Loba heirloom coming in Season 13 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak claims Loba heirloom coming in Season 13 Respawn/EAA fresh Apex Legends leak has claimed that Loba will be getting her heirloom in Season 13, and that an already teased idea for how it would look has been scrapped. With it being incredibly hard to get your hands on one, heirlooms have become the most sought-after cosmetics in Apex Legends, and players are always hopeful that their main legend of choice will be next in line to receive one. In Season 12, all the leaks have pointed towards Crypto finally getting a sword-style heirloom of some kind in the Warrior’s event, after the initial design was leaked a couple of seasons ago. While Crypto is yet to receive his heirloom, some fans are already looking way into the future, and it appears as if Season 13 will be good news for Loba mains who are desperate to dive deeper into her lore. In his March 7 video, Apex Legends leaker Thordan Smash claimed that the Translocating Thief will be receiving her heirloom in Season 13, and that there are in-game quips ready to accompany it. While there aren’t any images of what Loba’s heirloom could look like, the YouTuber noted that the previously teased design – a trident full of jewelry – has been scrapped in favor of something new. The supposed trident design, which looked pretty massive, was hinted at back in Season 8 with the ‘Time to break some Hearts’ holo-spray that depicts Loba as an ancient warrior, leaving some fans begging Respawn to rush out the release of that heirloom. Timestamp of 1:40 While the leaker has been pretty spot on with information before, it is always worth taking things with a pinch of salt. Respawn ultimately have the final say on things and plans could change for any reason. Though, hopefully, they won’t keep Loba mains waiting for too much longer.

  • Apex Legends leak claims fan-favorite weapons heading to Replicator in Season 14 – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak claims fan-favorite weapons heading to Replicator in Season 14 Respawn/EAFresh Apex Legends leaks have claimed that there will be a massive change to the meta in Season 14, as both the Wingman and C.A.R. SMG will apparently be pushed into replicators. Over the last few Apex Legends seasons, Respawn Entertainment have made some pretty big changes to the loot pool as they continue to balance existing items while also adding new ones. One of the biggest changes they’ve made came back in Season 12, when the devs revealed that they’d be removing two weapons from floor loot and make them only available through the Replicators. This, at first, was seen as a pretty controversial change by some players, but complaints have died down in the time since it was first introduced. Now, as we approach Season 14, Respawn are apparently using the Replicators to make one of the biggest shake-ups to the meta we’ve seen in a long-time. That’s according to claims made by leaker Ezra_RC, who claimed that Respawn will be taking both the C.A.R. SMG and the Wingman, and putting them inside the Replicator with the new seasonal update. There’s no word on whether either weapon will be drastically nerfed with the change, but weapons that find themselves as a part of the crafting rotation typically get taken down a peg or two. On top of that, the screenshot shared by the leaker also points to the Digital Threat optic – which can be attached to both weapons – joining them in the Replicator. Of course, while the leaker has proven to have solid information previously, this change has yet to be confirmed by Respawn and it could just be something they’re testing but not planning. We’ll just have to wait until Season 14 drops to see if the leaker is proven to be right again, and if the battle royale meta is truly going to be shaken up in a massive way.

  • Apex Legends leak allegedly reveals full list of upcoming characters – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak allegedly reveals full list of upcoming characters Respawn EntertainmentA new Apex Legends leak claims to show a complete list of characters who will be added to the popular battle royale title over the coming months, according to data miner That1MiningGuy. Since the game’s release in February 2019, Respawn Entertainment have used the additions of new characters to help keep the game fresh, with Wattson and Crypto both added to Apex Legends in Season 2 and 3 respectively. The developers keep their cards close to their chest regarding who will be coming to the game, but an image supposedly leaked from a Respawn Entertainment facility shows a list of Legends who are being worked on ahead of release. Crypto is the latest Legend added to the game. The image tweeted by That1MiningGuy shows a sheet of paper, which allegedly covers a three month period between July and October, and divides the Legends into three categories — Production, Design Alpha, and Future Characters. Included in Production are Crypto, who was released at the start of Season 3, Revenant who first appeared in the game’s files following the Iron Crown Collection event, and Loba, who has previously been called Rosie in the game’s files. The image states that the company are asking for feedback on “how to improve their existing abilities,” which points towards them being close to the finished article. In Design Alpha, two characters named Valk and Rampart are mentioned, with the sheet stating that they are close to being “locked” and require “highest priority feedback,” while the final row is reserved for future characters, with Blisk and Downfall mentioned by name, with two others without names and no concept art for any, which indicates that they are early in the design process. As with any leaks, there’s no guarantee that this information is accurate, and it’s unlikely that Respawn Entertainment will confirm the validity of the information. The game’s next major event is scheduled to take place over Halloween with the ‘Fight or Fright event’, so it’s possible we may see a hint towards the next Legend release during the limited-time mode.

  • Apex Legends leak reveals ability for unreleased legend Crypto – Dexerto

Apex Legends leak reveals ability for unreleased legend Crypto A new Apex Legends leak has revealed what one of Crypto’s abilities will be whenever he is eventually released in the battle royale game. Crypto has yet to be added to the playable character roster in Apex Legends, but that hasn’t stopped fans from learning more about the unannounced character each day. As Season 2 rolls on, there has been a lot of chatter about Respawn adding in Crypto before it wraps up, but there has been no official word by them as of yet. Despite no announcement, it’s looking clearer and clearer that he’s on the way and now we have a pretty good idea of what one of his abilities will be – or at least one of them. Read More: Apex Legends leak hints further at PVE mode – According to Apex Legends leaker That1MiningGuy, Crypto will have the ability to hack into objects much like Pathfinder does now when he locates the next zone. Details on this feature are still scarce but it sounds like Crypto will be able to find hidden areas around the map or it could be a beacon that signals when enemies run by them. With this new leak, it sounds like Crypto will be plugging into the laptops that are scattered across the map. It was thought the laptops would tie into the next season somehow, but now it looks like it’ll tie to the new legend too. Either option would be interesting additions for the free-to-play game as there’s nothing like that in the game just yet. It’s not a whole lot to go on but Season 1 introduced just one Legend in Octane and Season 2 has already added in Wattson. If Respawn keeps up that cadence, then we might have to wait for Season 3 to see the release of Crypto. If that’s the case, we still have quite some time before a release. While all of this information seems pretty solid, none of it has been revealed officially so it’s important to not take it as a fact yet. It’s still a leak and subject to change so keep that in mind before you end up getting too excited about the potential future of Apex Legends.

  • Apex Legends lead map designers leave Respawn after releasing World’s Edge, Olympus, Storm Point – Dexerto

Apex Legends lead map designers leave Respawn after releasing World’s Edge, Olympus, Storm Point Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends map designers Dave Osei and Rodney Reece, the minds behind Olympus, World’s Edge, and Storm Point, have left Respawn Entertainment on the third anniversary of the game’s release. Announced early on February 4, the pair are both leaving Respawn Entertainment ahead of the release of Season 12. Dave Osei has been a part of the Apex design team since July 2019 and was elevated from Senior Level Designer to Lead Level Designer during that time. Reece joined the company back in 2017 and also started as a Senior Level Designer, before becoming a Principal Designer in 2020. • Apex Legends lead developers explain their vision for the future of Apex – Dexerto

Apex Legends lead developers explain their vision for the future of Apex Respawn EntertainmentSeason 16 of Apex Legends is about to begin. The game is now four years old, and there is a mix of anticipation and trepidation about the future of the franchise. Dexerto spoke to the game director and design director at Respawn, and asked some of the community’s most pressing questions. The new season will be the first in the game’s history not to release a new Legend. This is just the start of what the developers promise will be continued subversion of expectations over the coming seasons this year and beyond. EA confirmed at their most recent earnings call that the Apex franchise had unperformed expectations, citing “challenging market dynamics.” This felt like a clear nod to the competition, such as Warzone 2 and Overwatch 2, likely to steal away the attention of some Apex players. Apex Legends Mobile is being shutdown, and an unannounced single-player Apex game has been scrapped. So, how can Apex, a four-year-old game, maintain its position as a leading battle royale title, as the competition keeps coming? The future of Apex Legends “We’re committed to the philosophy of evolving the game,” said Evan Nikolich, senior design director on Apex Legends. “We will keep building on the core game and evolve, reacting to the community and adding new content.” Nikolich compared Apex to other long-lasting live-service games CS:GO and League of Legends. These games have maintained popularity for over a decade, and Respawn hopes Apex will have a similar 20-year lifespan at least. “The approach has stayed the same,” said game director Steven Ferreira, when asked about staying resilient vs the competition. “We experiment, learn from that, and make incremental changes. There are some big sweeping changes coming this year in particular, which are more about the game itself, and not about the competition.” “Apex has grown to a place with so much content, while maintaining the content players know and love. One season to the next doesn’t seem like much, but when you look over the years, you can see how much has changed.” Ferreira also confirmed there will never be an Apex Legends 2 – unlike rivals such as Warzone 2 and Overwatch 2 – it’s all about building on the core game. “Sweeping changes” coming to Apex Respawn said that this year, there will be some major changes to Apex that players are not expecting, and that “nothing is off the table.” Asked if this was similar to when Skulltown was removed, despite being so iconic, Ferreira explained: “Yes, similar to Skulltown. People thought ‘we can’t possibly change this’ but nothing is precious.” They explained that even if something is “fun individually,” they won’t be scared to address it “if it does harm to the overall game.” “You’re going to see pretty big highlights this year. The [new] classes are an example of that, even though that wasn’t that precious to people, it was there for a long time. Legends, maps modes, progression, ranked – there is not an area where we are standing still.” Why skip a new Legend? For the first time, there won’t be a new Legend to headline a season launch. This was bound to happen at some point – Respawn confirmed as much to Dexerto last year – but it’s a risk nonetheless. Will players feel shortchanged? Will it dampen hype for the new season? Will the season get stale faster? These are no doubt questions Respawn have considered, but Nikolich explained that they think of the game like “tending a garden.” “It’s a shift from ‘predictable’ updates, we’re not just tending the garden – if we don’t trim the weeds, it becomes overgrown.” Another big change is the removal of Arenas in Season 16, and Nikolich gave this as an example of something that was overgrown in the garden, and so they weren’t afraid to sunset it entirely. “Arenas wasn’t doing the job.” Although, for Arenas lovers, Nikolich didn’t rule it a return entirely: “We’re looking at it.” Also, don’t worry – there will be a new Legend next season. How different is the Apex team now vs four years ago? In the past two years, a number of high-profile developers on Apex Legends left Respawn for pastures new. These included the former game director, map designers, communication directors and more. Asked about how different the team is now vs when Apex launched in 2019, Ferreira explained that “the team reflects the game” – as it’s always evolving. “We hope [Apex] is still around in 20 years. [Developers leaving] is a natural progression, I don’t know many devs that can work on one game for 15 years straight. “We’re always trying to keep the team fresh, and we want as many people who are as passionate about playing the game as they are making it. The team makeup is definitely larger, but a significant part of the team was here from before launch too. “We have some news about the continued growth of Apex and Respawn and general coming. One day, we hope we’ll have people joining the team who grew up playing the game.” Nikolich, agreed, explaining that while new people join, the “values of the team and pillars of the game, those are strong. We stay true to what Apex is, we never want to change Apex into something it isn’t, we want to keep it a competitive BR shooter.” For players who might have been worried about devs departing the team, they acknowledged that “from the outside, change can be concerning,” but compared it sports teams changing players – “the franchise stays the same.” Monetization in Apex Legends Monetization is a necessary component of any free-to-play game. Apex Legends has tried to strike the balance between value for players and sustainability for the business. Sometimes, players feel that balance hasn’t been achieved. Asked about recent complaints from the community regarding recolors and collection events, Nikolich and Ferreira were transparent. On recolors specifically, Ferreira explained that the team likes recolors because it gives new players an opportunity to get something that other players have, without just re-releasing the same skin again. However, they confirm that they have “100% seen the feedback. We’ve heard loud and clear.” In the last collection event of Season 15, players who completed the collection were rewarded with a reactive Peacekeeper skin – a recolor too. This angered many, as typically the collection event reward is an heirloom or mythic skin, and so a weapon skin felt like a significant downgrade. Ferreira admits that the team did not expect the negative reaction: “We thought players would really like the opportunity to get it.” “But we learned some lessons. You won’t see that collection event reward again, I can pretty much guarantee that. The intent is always to do something players enjoy and see value in, definitely not trying to upset anyone.” As well as feedback on social, they also use data about where players spend their money and what content they value most. Nikolich added, “We want people to feel good about the money they spend, to feel good to get something new, not cheap.” He also advised players to give feedback both verbally and “with your wallets – don’t spend money if you don’t want the item.” The infamous cross-progression question As time came to a close in our chat, it was important to ask once again about cross-progression, by far the most-requested feature in Apex Legends. Ferreira confirmed: “We’re definitely excited about cross-progression coming. It was trickier than expected, and we want to make sure it’s ready. Also because you only get one crack at rolling something like this out.” Ferreira expanded on this, explaining that there are different ways that cross-progression can be implemented and that they “want to set it up the way we want it.” “I don’t have a definitive date, but it’s definitely coming.” Season 16 of Apex Legends begins on February 14, with Team Deathmatch, a revamped Legend class system, and a new weapon.
