It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come with Bleach, from humble beginnings in 2004 to now adapting the final arc. The anime show has come a long way, and we’ve grown with it, making this a truly bittersweet release to follow. Ichigo stares down his heftiest challenge yet as part of the titular war. We know it’s coming in four parts, so this isn’t it just yet, but we’re close, and that spells trouble for all of your favorite characters. Here are all the details on Thousand-Year Blood War thus far. Bleach TYBW Part 3 release date Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War will premiere on October 6, 2024. The news was revealed in Weekly Shonen Jump. We know October was the release window for sometime, but now we have an exact date. The first cour of TYBW ended in December 2022, and the second part premiered in July 2023. So Part 3 is the longest gap, at one year and three months. That’s not bad for an anime of this scale! Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 trailer Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has several trailers. The latest arrived in July 2024, at Anime Expo. It’s a sizzle reel of the main cast, some fight scenes, and other credits such as who’s composed the opening and closing themes. It’s a brief preview, but given this is for a show that’s been running for over 20 years, fans don’t need much more than just a reminder of what’s coming. What will happen in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3? Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as the title implies, follows a long battle between the Soul Society and the Wandenreich, a secret part off the Quincy. They use the death of Sōsuke Aizen as an opportunity to make a move on the Gotei 13 after laying dormant for a millennium. Their leader, Yhwach, believes the Soul Society to be a fundamentally flawed institution. He thinks the Quincy could, and should, oversee things better. OF course, his methods of proving that involves remarkable amounts of bloodshed. Ichigo and the rest of the Shinigami stand against them, in a battle that decides everyone’s fate once and for all. This is the third of four parts, so it won’t be over just yet, but expect some major twists nonetheless. How many episodes are in Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3? There will be 13 episodes in TYBW Part 3, just like the previous two cours. As the third of four parts, it seems like each section will run equal length. Where can you watch The Conflict? Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 will be available on Hulu in the US when it comes out. This is where the previous two parts are available. UK fans can find the show on Disney Plus. Going by previous releases, it should be available at the same time as America, but we’ll confirm that when we know. That’s everything on Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
