Satoru Gojo has won the hearts of countless fans worldwide, but the story barely covers anything about his childhood. While the manga does have a Gojo\u2019s Past Arc, it explores his high school years and his friendship with Geto. However, Jujutsu Kaisen fans don\u2019t know anything about Gojo\u2019s parents and what kind of childhood he had. In a recent interview, creator Gege Akutami answers more than 30 questions regarding fans\u2019 beloved character Gojo. One of the questions was, \u201cAre Gojo\u2019s father and mother still alive? Are they still high-ranking Jujutsu sorcerers?\u201d Gege answers, \u201cThey\u2019re alive. They\u2019ve gained a higher status within the Gojo clan by giving birth to Gojo Satoru, but they\u2019re not particularly strong as Jujutsu Sorcerers so they were separated from Gojo at a young stage. (Because they can\u2019t be involved in his education as a Jujutsu Sorcerer)\u201d Every few centuries, a child with Six Eyes is born in the Gojo Clan. However, the heir must also go through proper training and education to become a powerful sorcerer. Considering how Gojo\u2019s parents weren\u2019t that talented, the clan deemed it appropriate to give someone else custody of Gojo\u2019s upbringing when he was young. Fans are heartbroken after finding out the tragic truth about Gojo\u2019s childhood. One fan shares, \u201cGege once again confirming that Gojo\u2019s isolation and dehumanization lasted his entire lifetime for the 47384839 time.\u201d \u201cAnd this is probably why Gojo reacted so sensitively after he learned that Geto killed his parents.
