CrunchyrollYuji is currently fighting Sukuna with his new powers in Jujutsu Kaisen – but how is he able to use Blood Manipulation? Jujutsu Kaisen hid Yuji’s powers for a long time until his final fight against Sukuna began. His desperate attempt to kill the villain and save his friend after his beloved sensei’s death has been exciting so far. During the short time between Gojo’s return and the battle of the strongest, everyone’s skills improved tremendously. They all trained to be prepared in case Gojo lost the battle. Nonetheless, the one who improved the most is Yuji Itadori. Not only is Yuji able to use the complex Reverse Cursed Technique, but he can also use Blood Manipulation and has a strange ability to attack someone’s soul with his punches. Delve deeper to find out how Yuji can use Blood Manipulation in Jujutsu Kaisen. Was Yuji born with the innate Blood Manipulation technique? Although Choso and Yuji are technically brothers, they have no blood relation to speak of. Yuji is a human, while Choso is a reincarnated Cursed Womb: Death Painting. A few centuries ago, Kenjaku possessed Noritoshi Kamo’s body and used Choso’s mother to give birth to him and the rest of his nine siblings. Centuries later, Kenjaku possessed Kaori Itadori and gave birth to Yuji for an elaborate plan. Hence, that’s how Choso and Yuji became brothers. However, Yuji isn’t born with the innate technique of the Kamo Clan. In fact, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 220 has already revealed how Yuji can use Blood Manipulation. He says that he will eat anything as long as he can kill Sukuna and then explains his plan to save Megumi. Later, Choso hands him Yuki’s notes about her research on souls, where Yuji mentions the rest of their siblings. However, before Yuji can elaborate, Choso implies that he’s glad that their siblings can live as part of him. The implication behind Yuji eating the remaining death paintings couldn’t be clearer. Since the Death Paintings have Noritoshi Kamo’s blood, each one of them has inherited the Blood Manipulation technique, which has now passed on to Yuji. Chapter 247 also discreetly hints that Yuji uses Choso’s Piercing Blood, but it remains uncertain if it is Yuji or Choso. Since Choso is severely wounded in that scene, it’s likely Yuji who launches the attack on Sukuna. As the fight continues in Chapter 251, Yuji surprises the King of Curses with an insane technique. He first spits a mouthful of blood on Sukuna’s face and later explodes it. The technique seems to be an extension of Blood Manipulation. The fight is still ongoing, and no doubt the series will shed more light on all of Yuji’s abilities.

Jujutsu Kaisen: How can Yuji use Blood Manipulation?
