Jujutsu Kaisen has been a wild roller coaster ride since the beginning, and as the story continues, we don’t see things getting any better for the good guys of the popular series. The franchise that started with Yuji eating a rotten finger of Sukuna has gotten way darker than we had imagined in any of our wildest dreams. Furthermore, it is one such franchise that gave us several supporting characters who became more pivotal for the story than the main protagonist. These characters include Megumi, Nobara, Gojo and Nanami. While Megumi is the current host of Sukuna, the rest are gone forever. So, Yuji has a huge responsibility on his shoulders that might force him to go beyond his limits to finish the reign of Sukuna once and for all. Jujutsu Kaisen theory sees the involvement of Yuji’s grandfather According to the latest Jujutsu Kaisen theory on Reddit, Yuji’s grandfather passed on a curse to him with his last words. If you remember, when the old man was on his deathbed, he had no one around him except his grandson, Yuji. That’s when he said “save the people you can… and when you die, you should be surrounded by people. Don’t end up like me.” As per the theory, there are possibilities of these words being a curse that makes his CT grow whenever any of his friends die, inching him closer to a death where he will be all alone. The assumptions didn’t stop there, in fact, there are so many revelations that we want you to be aware of. In the JJK Universe, the curse holders can pass on any curse to anyone even without knowing. We know that Kenjaku possessed Yuji’s mother and conceived him with Jin Itadori but it’s also worth noting that the evil entity never took a weakling as its host. So, it’s clear that Yuji’s mother had a strong Cursed Energy that attracted Kenjaku. Moreover, Sukuna also once said that Yuji resembles someone from the Heien Era so, we can say that he belongs to a bloodline that’s not an ordinary one. Also, if Yuji’s mother had a potent CE, it means that she has inherited those from her parents. Although we never got a chance to learn about Yuji’s ancestors until now, the way things have started turning out in the series, we can expect Akutami to reveal everything to use very soon. Lastly, if Yuji’s grandparents were curse users then we might get to witness the boy grabbing the mantle and moving on the path of revenge to finish the year-old rivalry with Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen theory makes the whole series way darker CrunchyrollJujutsu Kaisen has a new theory that turned out to be a massive shock for the global fandom.
