Over the last several years, My Hero Academia has become established as one of the best anime if you want fun, vibrant characters, great fight scenes, and some generally upbeat storytelling. Across the past six seasons, we\u2019ve watch Deku grow from a wannabe hero to one of the greatest to ever live, and every arc brings him closer to the ultimate challenge. Season 7 of the anime show continues this trend, giving us more action from the gang. This year, we also got the manga\u2019s ending, but that\u2019s not all. My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next release date My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next comes to US cinemas on October 11, 2024. The film opened in Japanese cinemas on August 2, 2024. This is the fourth My Hero Academia movie. The previous one, My Hero Academia: World Heroes\u2019 Mission, premiered in Japan in August 2021, before coming out around the world starting in October. This is following the same pattern. My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next plot Deku and his friends take on Dark Might, an enemy that looks remarkably like All Might, all while trying to figure out why a strange fortress has arrived on Earth. The bizarre building seems to consume people and other buildings, presenting a mystery for us and the heroes. The All Might lookalike points to an Evil Superman storyline of some description. Ultimately, whatever happens, we can count on Deku, Shoto, and Bakugo saving the day in epic fashion. We wouldn\u2019t have it any other way! My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next trailer The first trailer for My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next arrived in January 2024. We got to meet All Might\u2019s evil twin, Dark Might and see a little bit of this strange, alien building that comes along in the first trailer. A second trailer arrived in April, building the tension around Dark Might, with Deku\u2019s Danger Sense going haywire. Whatever\u2019s happening, it\u2019s going to be a challenge. The most recent subtitled trailer dropped in July 2024. It showed brief glimpses of the Class 1-A students as the deal with the new crisis, with the theme song \u2018Homunculus\u2019 by Vaundy playing in the background. We also see Anna and Giulio, who play key roles in the film, in the new video. Where can you watch My Hero Academia: You\u2019re Next? My Hero Academia You\u2019re Next will be a theatrical release to start, before moving to streaming on Crunchyroll. The film should arrive on the service some months after hitting the big screen.
