Oshi no Ko made its grand anime debut in 2023 and easily topped the popularity charts with overwhelming numbers. It was officially announced on January 24 that the series will get a live-action film and series. The drama series will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in winter 2024, with the live-action film being released theatrically in Japan by Toei. The manga, by Mengo Yokoyari (art) and Aka Akasaka (story), debuted in 2020 and is still ongoing. The anime aired its first season in Spring 2023, and its second season is all set for its debut in 2024.
