After five successful seasons, The Beginning After The End (TBATE) came back with Season 6 in May 2024. However, after less than three months of serialization, the webcomic is halting its run for a long break. Tapas Entertainment, the host of the English version of TBATE, recently released a statement announcing the hiatus and the reason behind it. The company revealed the manhwa needs a new art studio, and thus, will use the time to shift to a new location. Prior to this, Rise Entertainment was the studio behind the manhwa. However, Tapas revealed their differences in the creative process were too much to overcome, leading to TBATE leaving the studio for now. \u201cWhile Rise Entertainment has done incredible work, differences in the comic creation ecosystems have affected our ability to stay in sync with our internal schedule,\u201d Tapas clarified. The company also apologized for the delay but assured it\u2019s needed for the long-term improvement of the manhwa: \u201cPlease note that this decision was not made lightly, but for the long-term sustainability of TBATE. this change is essential to align production schedules and ensure consistent, high-quality releases.\u201d Tapas also assured fans that there will be plenty of sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content for fans to enjoy during these three months. However, avid readers of the fantasy series are still pretty sad about not being able to read The Beginning After The End for such a long time. As one wrote on X, \u201cSo sad, which story should I read in these 3 months?\u201d \u201cYeah this is happening right when it gets to the good part man\u2026\u201d added another. \u201cCrying, screaming, throwing it back. Just came out of a 1 year break, & now we\u2019re gone again?! Art was definitely improving, so I\u2019m lowkey gonna miss it.
