It was widely expected among the game\u2019s online community that the first Battle Pass for the free-to-play title would land on March 12, following an accidental leak from Origin which seemed to announce its price and arrival. Disappointment soon set in, though, when Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment posted on Reddit that an announcement would be made sometime in the future. However, a new bug that can be seen in-game seems to show that the Battle Pass was indeed planned to launch on March 12 \u2013 or thereabouts. The bug, which can be seen in the short clip below, seems to show items appearing in Apex Packs that don\u2019t seem to be authorised yet. Some fans are speculating that these items were being prepared to be added to the game ahead of the initial launch date of the Battle Pass, but were not set live due to a change in direction from the developer. Apex Legends data miner @Shrugtal claims this is further proof that the battle pass was scheduled to release on March 12, but was delayed. Saw a support conversation that basically said that the reason this occurs is Octane items being added to the loot list, and that you’ll have access to them when Octane is released.
