We’ve compiled all the best places to drop in the original map to get the best loot and guns. The trick to Apex’s latest limited-time mode is pretty simple. Instead of the usual completely random spawns for guns, equipment, and attachments, everything stays in the same place every time you load into a match. This means there are, naturally, better places to land, especially considering some points of interest are loaded to the brim with gold items. There’s even a few places where the new Evo Shields are available each and every match. There is only one catch to Deja Loot — the circle and the dropship changes each game. This does mean sometimes the best loot will be out of reach, but overall it’s best to land in the top-tier places every match for your best chance to win. We’ve compiled the top four best places to land in your Deja Loot games, taking into account both the level and rarity of the weapons and equipment found there, as well as how “hot” the drop will be each match. Here are the top drops: Artillery Available Loot: Gold helmet, R-301, Evo Shield, more In terms of the pure amount of rare loot in a single area, Artillery is inarguably one of the best places to land in Deja Loot after it’s arrived in King’s Canyon. Right off the bat, you can grab an R-301, a light mag, and an Anvil Receiver. If you’re not too interested in the assault carbine, Artillery also boasts some of the best rare items in the game — you can score a gold helmet, purple armor, or if you want to take a quick trip through the tunnel there’s even an Evo Shield. The Season 4 powerhouse rifle, the Hemlock, also awaits in the left-sided Artillery building. It has the same boost as the R-301 in this area, considering there’s an Avil Receiver just waiting to be attached in the back building. Finally, shotgun fans can emerge from the popular POI fully equipped too. Side-by-side in the right building is a Peacekeeper and an epic bolt — perfect for any early scraps. Head north of Containment to finish the loadout with a Precision Choke. Thunderdome Available Loot: Gold knockdown, G7 Scout, more Dropping into Thunderdome is probably the most dangerous landing spot we’ll suggest in this guide, but considering what’s waiting in the mega-popular King’s Canyon POI, it’s likely worth the early-game risk. Ignore the two Mozambiques in the center of the open space , they’re obviously not going to get you to a championship finish, unfortunately, and head straight to the three buildings to the north-east. There lies your first weapon pickups. The rarest item is also here, the gold knockdown. Grab that, before equipping the G7 Scout and the Alternator in the far-right building. Once you’ve got these strong light guns, you can head back into the middle-area battle. Once Thunderdome is clear, and you’ve got the epic light mag and Evo Shield, the map’s your oyster. The best thing about the Thunderdome drop is you can head any of Water Treatment, Skull Town, or Airbase, which are all great final locations. Labs Available Loot: R-99, Digital Threat, Gold stabilizer, more Now, this drop is going to be a bit more dangerous because of how popular Wraith’s Town Takeover is in the updated King’s Canyon, but if you’re interested in running and gunning to get the win, Labs is a must-pick location. The reason? There’s a clear path to some of the best close-range weapons in the game, and great attachments to put on them too. First off, dropping at Labs nets you an R-99 — your main gun for this run — and a gold backpack. Once you’ve got the deadly SMG, head south to the group of buildings under the mountain and grab the gold stabilizer there. Add this to your R-99. The final trek east may be the most dangerous part, especially if the ring is closing in on the other side of the map, but it’s worth it. In the Swamps, you’ll find a 1x Digital Threat threat to add to your R-99, as well as an Evo Shield. There are also two Anvil Receivers here, meaning if you want to head north-west to the edge of Wetlands you can add that gold attachment to the R-301 there. With a kitted-out R-99 as your main gun, and the carbine for range, you’re set. Water Treatment Available Loot: Charge Rifle, 8x Scope, more Most of these drops have been focused on collecting powerful close-range weapons like the R-99, the PK, and the all-star R-301, but what about drops for players who are more interested in picking up their enemies from distance? Water Treatment is probably the best drop for sniper-loving Apex players returning to King’s Canyon in Deja Loot. While many other POIs are dripping with light rifles and shotguns, the southern area is stacked with sniper rifles. In particular, landing to the right side of the Treatment buildings gives you two opportunities to get Season 3’s Charge Rifle. The energy gun-turned-sniper rifle has barely had a chance to shine on King’s Canyon, until now. There are also three Triple Takes across a few areas if you head out the north-east exit, while a key pickup — the epic 8x sniper scope — is available in one of the buildings nestled against the river below Repulsor. This is a must-get. Lastly, Water Treatment’s strength of drop comes from the combinations you can create with your snipers. If you grab either long-ranged rifle, make sure you also get the EVA-8 shotgun in the center building, and the Double Tap hop-up too. If you want to take full advantage of these top drop spots, you better get in quick too — Deja Loot, and the Override event, ends on March 17. King’s Canyon itself isn’t going anywhere at the end of the event, however, as the second split of Season 4’s ranked series will be played on the original map. We may even see new aliens and class passive buffs arrive at the same time.

Apex Legends Deja Loot mode: Best landing spots on King’s Canyon Respawn EntertainmentApex Legends players have returned to King’s Canyon this week with the rinse-and-repeat “Deja Loot” mode after a week in World’s Edge.
