Apex Legends dev reveals how many players reached Apex Predator EAApex Legends Series 1, the new ranked format introduced in Season 2, is winding down and Respawn revealed where everyone who participated ended up finishing. The ranked season of Apex Legends is coming to a close as we approach Season 3 of Respawn\u2019s battle royale. This gave players to test out how good they really were against the large playerbase, and even gave them a chance to earn some exclusive rewards along the way depending on how high they climbed. When pulling back the curtain on what to expect with Series 2, they showed us where players ended up finishing. There were six different rankings players could reach, but the overwhelming majority didn\u2019t come anywhere close to sniffing the top. In fact, just 0.2% of players reached the top rank of Apex Predator in Series 1. The majority of players fell into Silver and Gold, which isn\u2019t too much of a surprise, especially if that\u2019s just players who play in their free time. The complete breakdown is as follows: 5.1% Bronze – 40.0% Silver – 35.7% Gold – 16.8% Platinum – 2.1% Diamond – 0.2% Apex Predator – Apex Legends doesn\u2019t have any way for players to demote into lower tiers like Gold to Silver, and they plan on using that format going forward. If you\u2019re more of a visual learner, Reddit user Alt_Mayday created a graph for players that breaks it down. As with many games with a similar ranking system, Platinum is where players start to get really good so it\u2019s easy to become stuck there, or even in the spot right below, in this case, Gold. The ranking Respawn released is as accurate as of September 10, so it\u2019s possible there could be a little bit of shifting before the season truly wraps up. Respawn says they are pleased with the results they\u2019ve seen with the ranked system and want to keep it the same going forward. It\u2019s an easy format to understand so we\u2019re sure fans will appreciate this decision as well.
