It becomes an even bigger debate when PC players ditch the keyboard and mouse for a controller, giving themselves an even bigger leg up. In some games, like Overwatch 2, aim assist isn\u2019t actually a thing in crossplay lobbies, and that has won praise from several members of the Apex Legends community. And, they\u2019d like to see Respawn follow Blizzard\u2019s switch. Leave your aim assist at home,\u201d said one. \u201cAim assist is there on console, but not on pc? If so, that\u2019s so much better,\u201d added another. \u201cFinally, a game that makes sense,\u201d commented another. \u201cThe way it should be.\u201d Naturally, some fans took the other view, claiming that things would be fine if Respawn simply altered the strength of aim assist when a controller player enters a PC lobby. \u201cController without aim assist is unplayable,\u201d argued one. \u201cPC players who whine about aim assist haven\u2019t tried playing on controller without aim assist,\u201d added another.
