It\u2019s been almost five years since Apex Legends first launched and changed the battle royale with it\u2019s unique formula that focuses on character abilities as well as gun skills and, well, plenty of luck. Over those five years, Respawn have made plenty of changes to the game \u2013 some that have been widely accepted by the community and, of course, some that haven\u2019t down all that well too. There are also some changes that players have been waiting pretty much since day one for as well. They\u2019ve recently called for a new pistol and shotgun to be added \u2013 seeing as neither weapon type has ever had a new addition \u2013 but also still want a simple looting change. Apex Legends fans want starter storage to finally be increased That\u2019s right, if you\u2019ve ever dropped into a game of Apex and wondered why the white backpack isn\u2019t a standard thing to drop with, well, you\u2019re not alone. There are plenty of players who are tired of still running around to find such a basic item. They want Respawn to make it a standard thing, and they\u2019re reigniting calls for that change to be made. \u201cI think it\u2019s time they remove the white backpack from the item pool and make it a spawn item, it\u2019s not worth a spot with the amount of ground items the game currently have,\u201d urged one fan. \u201cI agree 100%,\u201d added another player. \u201cWouldn\u2019t even need it to be an item, just remove it and up default storage space by 2. Anything to clear up loot and pave the way for a new weapon,\u201d another suggested. \u201cIt\u2019s just annoying not being able to find one at the beginning of the game,\u201d another complained. Some players also disagreed with the idea, suggesting that it would lead to some just wanting everyone to start out with blue level equipment anyway. Respawn have, in the past, curtailed to similar calls as they made changes to starting armor in previous seasons.
