Since then, she\u2019s become a staple in plenty of squads. Apex Legends players have found ways to humiliate their opponent\u2019s with Wattson\u2019s electric fence trap, as well as taking things to new levels with the introduction of season three. However, some fans have pointed out that the ability could do with a change \u2013 especially when it comes to facing enemy players playing as the same character. In a post to the Apex Legends subreddit, user mr_bosssss pointed out that as it stands, Wattson is able to walk through her own traps without suffering damage thanks to her clothing. However, should she go near an enemy trap, everything is forgotten and she\u2019s as susceptible as everyone else. It\u2019s a similar situation with Caustic where he is immune to his and enemy gas traps, but he does have his vision clouded by the gas. While that may be in part of his gas mask, some fans noted that Wattson could very well do with a similar change \u2013 even if it\u2019s just a passive buff. User dungeon99 pointed out that a tweak come make her ability less impactful, seeing as enemy Wattson\u2019s wouldn\u2019t take damage, but a clever change could come in the form of her only being slowed by the fence. However, snowy6191 claimed that allowing the legend to walk through fences without suffering any consequences wouldn\u2019t \u201cmake sense when balancing is concerned.\u201d Whether or not someone from Respawn will ever take the idea into mind is unknown, but it\u2019s clear that some fans are aware of the difference between Wattson and her fellow legends.
