Now, he\u2019s hinting promised nerfs to controller players are on the way, chanting \u201cjust wait for the update\u201d for those making the swap from mouse and keyboard. ImperialHal has made his stance on aim assist in Apex Legends very clear in the past: it\u2019s broken and needs to be nerfed. The TSM pro has played around with controller personally, and with more players swapping as of late, it\u2019s only becoming more prevalent. Respawn has been treading water on nerfs for aim assist for some time, but if Hal\u2019s chants have any merit, that long-awaited change could be coming soon in Apex Legends. He was playing with TSM streamer \u2018Daltoosh\u2019 and Cloud9 pro Paris \u2018StayNaughty\u2019 Gouzoulis Hal took a fight before getting beamed and ultimately falling down to a flanking Wraith. \u201cThis game is f**king dogshit bro,\u201d he screamed. \u201cController Pathfinder, no audio f**ker behind me. Love it.\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s his input device got to do with bro,\u201d Daltoosh said jokingly. However, that only set Hal off: \u201cJust wait for the updates boys. Just wait.\u201d The vague comment caught the ear of his trio partners \u2014 both of whom play on controller \u2014 and were interested to hear whether Hal knew something they didn\u2019t. \u201cWhat the f**k does the update have to do with anything?
