With the community outcry very high, Respawn Entertainment pushed through a surprise patch. The patch removed the use of the configs, which was celebrated by the community, rightfully so. Despite the removal, it\u2019s still left some unease in the community, especially with DSG player iiTzTimmy. Apex Legends player\u2019s insane movement labeled as cheating iiTzTimmy found himself in a 1v1 in R5Reloaded, a modded version of Apex Legends meant to help players improve their movement and gameplay. After losing to his opponent, Movementless, iiTzTimmy could only react by saying that he\u2019s \u201cusing actual configs,\u201d after Movementless ran circles around the streamer. The rest of the clip shows Movementless\u2019 incredible movement, with the right side of the screen showing off his high-paced keyboard clacking. Movementless shared this clip to various Apex Legends-related subreddits. Depending on which one you\u2019re on, the replies are vastly different. For example, the more \u201ccasual\u201d side of the community corroborates that he\u2019s cheating, where he\u2019s had to defend himself quite a bit. The irony here is despite playing on a modded version of Apex Legends, configs are still banned, which one viewer pointed out. \u201cThis is R5Reloaded, a modded Apex client with 1v1 servers with the option to play input-locked matchmaking where CFGs have been in it since almost the start.
