Here’s everything we know so far. As Apex Legends Season 1 winds down, all eyes are set on the future of the game and what Respawn will be bringing with Season 2. The teases have already begun with players seeing dragons, called flyers in-game, cruising around with loot crates. Let’s dive into what we know so far. Dragons have arrived Players around King’s Canyon have reported seeing flyers enter the mix and have even shared video evidence of the fact. At the moment, these winged creatures aren’t dangerous and they actually deliver loot, meaning they are a positive addition so far. All of that could change with the blink of an eye depending on the story Respawn decides to tell. It’s quite possible an event revolving around the flyers will happen in some way but it’s too early to tell. Leviathans are moving The giant creatures on the edges of the map have largely been dormant until now when they have started inching across the map. It’s hard to tell for certain what role they will play in Season 2 but it does seem like the Leviathans are gearing up for something. Numerous weapon changes They couldn’t reveal every new weapon coming in Season 2, but Respawn did go in depth about some of the changes we could expect. The major one is the new L-Star LMG that will be coming but there are also several hop-ups on the way that will greatly improve viability for some of the weaker guns in the game. Here are the two new confirmed Hop-Ups: Disruptor Rounds Increased shielded damage. – compatibility: Alternator, RE-45 – Hammerpoint Rounds Increased unshielded damage. – compatibility: P2020, Mozambique – On top of this, Energy magazine attachments will be added for the Havoc, Devotion and Triple Take along with buffs to the Flatline, P2020, Alternator and Triple Take. As some added icing on the cake, a new set of Gold weapons will be arriving but we don’t yet have information on what those could be. Wattson is coming to King’s Canyon The new Legend coming for Season 2 is Wattson, an electrifying participant whose father created the Apex Arena. She sounds like she’ll be a really strong defensive Legend based on her abilities, which can be read below. Tactical Ability: Perimeter Security – Connect nodes to create electrified fences that damage and slow enemies. – Passive Ability: Spark of Genius – Ultimate Accelerants fully charge your Ultimate Ability, and standing near interception pylons boosts your Tactical Ability recharge. – Ultimate Ability: Interception Pylon – Place an electrified pylon that destroys incoming ordnance and repairs damaged shields as long as it stands. (Max: 3) – Season 2 release date Apex Legends Season 2 has been confirmed for a July 2 release date. With it will come a new Battle Pass to look forward to, but not many details have been revealed about that so far.

Apex Legends Season 2: Dragons, Leviathans, Legends, weapons, release date Apex Legends Season 2 starts up in July and we already know a lot of information about it.
