Over 50 million players have dropped in at least once in search of a victory since the game\u2019s release on February 4 \u2013 sending the title skyrocketing to the top of the gaming world. As the game grows in popularity, data miners and leakers are doing their best to reveal Respawn Entertainment\u2019s plans for the future earlier than initially planned \u2013 with plenty of fakes and concepts thrown in there for good measure. However, Twitter user @AustinScriver looks to have uncovered two new additions to the game. Fans who had already conceptualized a \u2018night mode\u2019 in the game may just be getting their wish after all. After data miners dug into the games files, code has been discovered for something that would resemble a \u2018night mode\u2019 \u2013 with code that scripts a changing of the time from day to night and vice versa. Players have painted King\u2019s Canyon red in the daytime since the game was released on February 4, but playing in the dark has been a feature that other battle royales, such as PUBG and Fortnite, have included for some time. The only readable piece of code that is displayed in the leaked image shows that the happy hour has an end timer for hours, minutes and seconds. This may have something to do with a possible Double XP event or even double drops for players. However, that is purely speculation until official word is released.
