Apex Legends Valentine\u2019s Day Rendezvous event: Duos, rewards, 2XP, more Respawn EntertainmentRespawn Entertainment have released the first event for Apex Legends Season 4 \u2013 Valentine\u2019s Day Rendezvous, which features the return of the fan-favorite Duos mode as well a reward and some new cosmetic items. With Valentine\u2019s Day just a few days away, Respawn are kicking off the recently-launched Season 4 of Apex Legends with a new in-game event called Valentine\u2019s Day Rendezvous. While not as massive as some of the events that have featured in the past, there\u2019s still definitely some intrigue to it since it includes the popular Duos mode in which players can enjoy the game in pairs rather than be forced to play in trios. The event was originally scheduled to launch on February 11 but Respawn announced later that day that it had been postponed after the accompanying update was not showing up for most players. Instead, it will start on February 12 until February 18, although there is a chance it could be extended an extra day due to the delay. Unfortunately the Valentine’s Day Rendezvous event is postponed until tomorrow and we\u2019ll provide updates when it goes live. Sorry for any confusion! \u2014 Apex Legends (@PlayApex) February 11, 2020 Throughout that time there will be a special \u2018Double Up\u2019 XP boost active that gives everyone who squads up with a friend twice the XP, up to 20,000 per day. In addition, everyone who logs on at any point during those days will receive a Valentines 2020 badge, and be able to purchase special cosmetic items that are otherwise not available throughout the year. Apex Legends Valentine\u2019s Day Rendezvous items There will be four Valentine\u2019s-themed cosmetic items up for sale in the in-game store during this event. Two are brand new \u2013 Pathfinder and Nessie weapon charms \u2013 while the other two are returning from last year\u2019s event \u2013 a Longbow DMR camo and Pathfinder banner. The \u2018Love Struck\u2019 Nessie weapon charm costs 500 coins and the \u2018Through the Heart\u2019 Longbow DMR camo 800 coins \u2013 both available from February 11-14. The other two items \u2013 the \u2018Lovefinder\u2019 Pathfinder charm and \u2018Love of the Game\u2019 banner \u2013 will cost 700 and 800 coins respectively. Players will be able to purchase these items from February 15-18. The Longbow camo and Pathfinder banner have been discounted since they\u2019re both returning items from last year\u2019s event.
