Bizarre Apex Legends bug changes which character you\u2019re using An Apex Legends fan has uncovered a strange bug that changes the character of a respawning teammate \u2013 giving them the abilities of someone else. Respawn Entertainment\u2019s take on the battle genre has been going strong since dropping its third season, Meltdown. The new seasonal content release gave fans a long-awaited new map, as well as the newest legend Crypto. However, it hasn\u2019t been all sunshine and rainbows, as players have pulled up plenty of problems. The Shadowfall limited-time mode, which was used to celebrate Halloween, bugged out on a regular basis and denied players the chance to pick up a win. Aside from that, fans have also had issues healing up and reviving teammates. Yet, a new problem has arisen, and it\u2019s taking players away from the legend that they initially had chosen and handing them another. In a post to the Apex Legends subreddit, user Secres showcased a video of the new problem from a recent game. In the clip, the Redditor is awaiting two respawning teammates \u2013 one using Octane, and another as Pathfinder. Some fans were left confused by what they had seen, with one noting that it could happen if you hit the escape button on a keyboard during the respawn process. Another user, named 1mVeryH4ppy, could see the funny side, joking: \u201cHe evolved, just like a Pokemon.\u201d Now, the Respawn development team do keep an eye on the game\u2019s subreddit, and have responded to similar strange bugs in the past.
