Mere hours into his first session back though, and Doc found himself \u201creading emails\u201d instead to try and \u2018stay awake.\u2019 It\u2019s no secret Dr Disrespect hasn\u2019t had a great time with Apex Legends since its release. He\u2019s uninstalled the game on multiple occasions and even promised never to jump back in again. After more than a year off from the popular battle royale, however, the two-time shifted gears slightly early in 2021, actually calling Respawn\u2019s flagship title a \u201cgood game,\u201d and admitting he even \u201cliked it.\u201d This change was short-lived though; roughly three hours into his first session back on June 30, and Doc was ready to call it quits again. \u201cDo you see how soft and skinny this f***ing game is?\u201d Doc yelled in a fit of rage after bombing out of a lobby in 12th place. \u201cIt\u2019s just shooting shields. There\u2019s a reason why I don\u2019t play it. It\u2019s boring. I don\u2019t know what else to say.\u201d He collected himself and tried dropping into a ranked game next, per viewer advice. However, not even the competitive side of Apex could keep him engaged. \u201cI\u2019m falling asleep playing the game,\u201d he said after quitting his final lobby of the day. Doc\u2019s main criticism this time around was the state of shields and drawn-out gunfights. For his money, \u201ceverything feels tedious.\u201d \u201cI am struggling to stay interested,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019m reading emails on my third monitor over here while I\u2019m playing the game. I have no interest, I\u2019m bored. I want to uninstall it right now, and I don\u2019t want to play the game ever again.\u201d Doc\u2019s latest fit of Apex-induced rage kicks off at 5:15:45 below. While he gave it a few hours to sink its hooks, Apex couldn\u2019t quite match the Doc\u2019s thirst for high-octane gameplay. \u201cI try to commit, we did a couple of hours today\u2026 We tried. That\u2019s all I can do.\u201d Winding down, Doc closed out of the game once and for all.
