With the introduction of the new legend, Revenant has quickly become a part of the game\u2019s evolving meta, as fans are still trying to find the best ways to use the Synthetic Nightmare. One of the biggest keys to victory with any character is figuring out how their ultimate ability is best used and players have already conjured up clever uses for Revenant. In a post to the Apex Legends subreddit, user talalm5 showcased a clip from one of their recent games where they decided to use Revenant\u2019s Death Totem to save their teammates rather than striking fear into other teams. Instead of pushing enemy players, the Redditor found a spot near the edge of the zone and popped the ultimate. After entering death protection mode, they quickly ran outside of the circle and headed for their downed teammate\u2019s banners \u2013 getting a little help from an Octane Jump Pad in the process. As the circle ticked their health away, talalm5 fell victim to the damage but as they were still in death protection, they were spawned back at the Death Totem \u2013 transporting them back inside the safe zone. Some players may not have ever thought to use Revenant\u2019s abilities in such a defensive and team-centric manner, but in the same way as Crypto, it appears as if he can be both an aggressive and passive legend.
