Respawn Entertainment\u2019s popular battle royale title has attracted an increased level of criticism mainly after the release of the Season 1 Battle Pass, with a section of the game\u2019s fanbase arguing that it needs more new content. However, NRG Esports\u2019 dizzy has revealed that while comments such as this, and claims that the game is \u201cdead,\u201d have become very popular among the online community, he\u2019d rather not see them while he\u2019s playing. Dizzy\u2019s message to Apex Legends haters \u201cWhen I\u2019m streaming, all of the \u2018Apex is dead\u2019 comments and shit is so annoying like who the fuck cares, it\u2019s a video game to entertain us,\u201d the pro player tweeted on April 27, clearly unhappy with how the game is being perceived by some gamers. Whether or not this strong message, from somebody of this stature, will go some way in preventing more negativity surrounding Apex Legends in the future remains to be seen.
