After a strong first year of existence in the ultra-competitive battle royale genre, Apex Legends headed into 2020 looking to build upon its strong successes. The recent launch of Season 4: Assimilation brought back a lot of attention and players, one being shroud, who has been playing the game a lot more after taking extended breaks from it in the second half of 2019. During one of his recent streams, he was asked about his thoughts on the current state of Apex Legends. That\u2019s why everyone\u2019s pissed, everyone\u2019s pissed because their sh*t doesn\u2019t work half the time.\u201d \u201cThere\u2019s so many problems that ruin your experience and they happen very very frequently,\u201d he added. \u201cLike randomly you join a server in ranked and all of a sudden it\u2019s laggy as f**k.\u201d When another viewer countered by saying \u201cevery game has problems,\u201d shroud conceded that to be true but also explained that his concerns went beyond Apex just having issues. Escape from Tarkov devs sometimes say a little too much, but honestly, I\u2019d rather a company say too much than nothing at all.\u201d That\u2019s likely another reason why he\u2019s been much more inclined to play EFT than Apex Legends, or any other game for that matter.
