Only 34 Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 players who experienced the story as Lae\u2019zel decided to kill themselves after Vlaakith rejected her ascension. Vlaakith is the Githyanki\u2019s ruler who once promised Lae\u2019zel an ascension if she found the Mysterious Artefact for her. However, things don\u2019t go as planned, and once she rejects Lae\u2019zel\u2019s ascension, the player is given the option to end her life. Replies to this post were shocked at the statistic. Not only due to the ending that few players knew about but also because of the minuscule number of players who have experienced this ending. Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 players were already familiar with some of the game\u2019s darkest endings, yet this one flew right under the radar. Since this has been highlighted as a fairly uncommon occurrence, it\u2019s likely many players will attempt to hunt it down themselves.
