A good amount of story in Baldur’s Gate 3 is presented through cutscenes in the characters’ camps, which usually requires taking a Long Rest. The issue is that taking Long Rests forces players to use Camp Supplies, which can be a precious commodity late in the game when people need to rest in order to fully heal. Luckily, a Baldur’s Gate 3 fan has shared an important tip on how to trigger these cutscenes without having to siphon from the Camp Supplies. Baldur’s Gate 3 player shares tip for seeing cutscenes while Resting In a recent post to the game’s subreddit, a fan made a humorous reference to taking a Long Rest after being bombarded with cutscenes. Titled “So I learned about all the content from long rests…”, the post references being overwhelmed with things being presented to them. While the point of the post was this joke, the real important part came in the comments when another fan said, “If you’re doing one rest after the other just for cutscenes, you can do partial rests, they cost zero supplies.” This proved to be a well-received tip, as one person responded with: “That’s good to know! Bc I be wanting content but then I run out of supplies lmao.” The one caveat to this tip, that was pointed out by a few other players in the post, is that there may be time-sensitive quests going on that would suffer when doing repeated Rests. In order to combat this, the Baldur’s Gate 3 community recommended keeping an eye on anything that may be time-sensitive in a player’s journal. This tip is bound to help out plenty of players, as the comments show that users have been afraid to use up their Camp Supplies in order to Long Rest: “Why do I need 96 potatoes, 75 apples and 58 garlic? This is why.” Hopefully, this can help a lot of people take the Rests they need to avoid missing content, without having to give up so many resources.

Baldur’s Gate 3 player shares helpful tip for those long resting for cutscenes Baldur’s Gate 3A Baldur’s Gate 3 player has given others a useful tip on how to get important cutscenes without having to use supplies to Long Rest.
