Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 players want Lae\u2019zel to get more recognition One player who enjoyed Lae\u2019zel\u2019s storyline took to the official Baldur\u2019s Gate 3 subreddit to describe why the Githyanki was deserving of more attention. They said: \u201cI was surprised to learn that early on she was one of the least liked characters. She\u2019s one of the pragmatic characters and whereas other characters let their morals control them and think they\u2019re morally better, Lae\u2019zel is all about the end goal and pivots quite a bit. \u201cShe\u2019s still flawed and picks another cause to champion but seeing her change, how can you not like her?\u201d One player suggested that she was less popular than other characters as opinions were largely based on first interactions when the game first launched, as that was when most players decided who the best characters were. \u201cI think sentiment for Lae\u2019zel has changed drastically now that BG3 has been out for a bit.
